    « Great value »

This hotel is reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable. The staff wasn't the friendliest but they were pleasant. We got to check in a little early but we went straight to the showers and the bathrooms were really small but the towels were clean and the water was hot. It was weird that the rooms are all hard floors but it wasn't a big deal. Just not used to that in a hotel and would have rathered carpet. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

« It's a little out of the way but well worth it! »

This branch of Best Western is a bit off the beaten path, but it's well worth the lower cost! Always had a spotless room, great breakfast (and coffee!), and comfortable bed. Will definitely be staying there again in the future!

    « Unexpected Delight »

We had a very pleasant three night stay at the Westchase Mini-Suites. Our room was spacious and comfortable, as well as clean. We had quick responses to anything we requested. One night when there was no space in the lot, the night manager moved their car next door so we could park in the lot. The breakfast options were beyond what I had expected, which was a very unexpected delight. As others have commented, the breakfast area is a bit too small for the weekend traffic, but they do try to keep it full and clean (no food running out during our stay).

« Nice motel and even nicer staff »

We enjoyed our four days stay at this Best Western. The room was clean and quiet. Moreover, all the motel staff, especially the lady at the front desk, was friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was always clean and the breakfast food was better than what you find at many motels in this price range. We will stay here the next time we have to be in the Westchase neighborhood.

    « Adequate hotel »

For the price of $56 per night via priceline.com, it was adequate. The room was standard. The breakfast food items were standard: scarmbled eggs, sausage, look warm, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juices, coffee ans bread. The fitness center was also basic: 2 treadmills, an elliptical trainer, and weight set. There was an outdoor pool. The staff was courteous. The room was clean. Nothing stood out as above and beyond or extraoordinary.

    « large suite »

had 2 queen beds , sofa bed, desk and chair, cable television, microwave and refrigerator. excellent breakfast, wifi, coffee and tea and water available 24 hours. fitness center, pool and hot tub, plenty of parking.

« Great hotel in Westchase area (West Houston off Beltway) »

This hotel, when you first drive up, doesn't have great curb appeal but don't let that stop you. It is very nice on the inside. Appears to have been recently updated and I was pleasantly surprised. It is always hard to find a decent and not over-priced hotel in Houston. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. It had a very nice outdoor pool area, I didn't swim as it was raining the whole time, but it was pretty and very large. I also missed breakfast, but there are tons of restaurants close by. There are 2 within walking distance but we did not eat at either of those. It is also very conveniently located off Westheimer and Beltway 8 on the southbound side. Easy access to either direction due to a street that runs behind property. We will definitely stay here again when working in this area. Great find!

« Home Away from Home »

Both my wife and I travel to Houston several times a year and the BW Plus Westchase is so convenient to the Houston area attractions, shopping, recreation, and entertainment. As with all BW Hotels, it is very clean, attractive, with great amenities and the staff whom are always available and anticipating your needs.

    « Very dissapointed »

We stay here based on the good review from Tripadvisor. In the past we found the reviews very helpful. Not this time though. Our room was very damp and musty. We also found that one bed had old sheets on it. There were hairs on the sheets. I complained both in the evening and in the morning to the front desk. Upon knowing that I am not a Best Western member, they told me there was not anything they could do. Will not stay here again.

    « houston hotel »

Many Best Western hotels are small businesses which resemble a boutique hotel in how they treat their guests and care for their property. This is one of those. They have very comfortable beds and a great hot breakfast.

« Never stayed at a Best Western »

With that being said I have stayed at alot of places. Best Western gas surpassed my level of satisfaction. The checking was great. The front desk people was very nice even when my son "accidently" took a "free" snack. They were great when I asked for another blanket and didn't seem to be bothered that I asked questions. The room was huge with a king size bed a fold out couch we had plenty of room. The BREAKFAST!!!! it was amazing hot and sizzling sausage and biscuits, eggs, cereal, yogurt, bagels, waffles, all kinds of breakfast drinks. I am so impressed that I think we might be staying at Best Westerns from now on!!! Thank you Best Western!!!!!

    « Best Western Plus/Houston...Thumbs Up!! »

This hotel was lots more than I expected. A very good place to stay! Clean, convenient, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good! I would recommend staying at Best Western Plus to anyone and will definitely be staying there again when I am in the Houston area.

    « customer service »

Everything was great! Even the cocktail hour! Rooms were clean. Microwave, fridge and hair dryer worked. The staff was friendly and helpful. The value was good for having breakfast included. I would stay here again.

    3
    « okay »

The hotel provides continental breakfast and is very good... eat as much as you want. The rooms are clean and staffs are very friendly. I rate this hotel average for 2 reasons, 1. No elevator for guest, I have to drag my 2 little kids and luggage on the stair. 2. The mattress are not too comfortable.

    4
    « Practical and convenient »

I believe this hotel is very convenient, is located conveniently and the staff is very friendly... maybe the only recommendation would be the breakfast as it is very generic, I suggest to include more options.

    5
« Solo one night stay »

To my pleasant surprise this hotel has just been recently updated. More like home and very very comfy. Breakfast is such a treat. Near everything you need. Fridge and microwave. This is my home in Houston. Thank you team for your hospitality. I appreciate you all.

    4
« Nice clean hotel and friendly staff »

Traveled to Houston to go to an Astros game. Hotel was about 30 minutes unless you go during rush hour, which took 1 hour. Traffic is terrible in Houston. They need to put a Best Western sign near the road so you can see the drive to get in parking lot. Hotel is alongside a busy service road. Ask for a room on opposite side of the busy road so you can sleep.

    5
« Great place to stay »

Fantastic stay at the BW Westchase Mini Suites again!! Always our first choice for OTC!! The staff are always so helpful especially Daniel always comes up with best directions to places in the city. Keeps us all entertained late in the evenings

    4
    « Good Hotel »

Room was good, bed had an issue, but we discovered it was broken and fixed very quickly. Breakfast was good as was the staff. Very friendly and always willing to help. Good location for touring around Houston. an hour to Galveston and 45 minutes to NASA. Downtown was 20 minutes way, airport is about 35 minutes. So pretty good location. We would stay here again.

    5
« Great Place to Stay with All the Amenities »

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks while in Houston on business. That is the longest amount of time I've had to spend in a hotel and I was not looking forward to it. This Best Western was a pleasant surprise and made it an easy stay. Their staff is extremely friendly, the hotel was exceptionally clean, and my room was very comfortable. With a refrigerator, a microwave, flat screen tv and all the other normal Hotel Furnishings, everything worked properly, was in good condition and didn't show signs of wear and tear. Their continental breakfast is excellent and had fresh options. They also have a happy hour during the week that offers wine and appetizers. It sounds small, but after long days and long periods in the hotel, it was a nice treat to look forward to. Their pool was very well kept - it was warm and clean. The exercise room offered two treadmills, an elliptical and weight machine. It was a very clean, easily accessible room. I would stay here again on my next trip to Houston. Don't let the shabby hotels neighboring the property sway you from staying here. This hotel is a gem.

    « Awesome Value! »

For an average of $112/night, we were able to get a large room with 2 queen beds, a nice sitting area and a microwave and refrigerator. Plus, the free breakfast was outstanding! I've never eaten so good! Pastries, biscuits, eggs and sausage, and Texas-shaped waffles. We were there for one night during their M-Th happy hour. The wine wasn't that great, but the hot hors'doeuvres were nice! The property is relatively small, which makes for an intimate and homey feel where you get to know the staff. There is a small work-out facility with two treadmills, a recumbent bike, a stair stepper and weights. And the swimming pool and hot tub looked inviting! The hotel was very clean and the lobby sitting area was comfortable and contemporary. They have a small "c-store" where you can buy microwaveable food, drinks, and toiletries. I would definitely stay here again.

« Stay here on ALL Houston Visits »

This is a great 'boutique' type hotel... not like most Best Westerns. Rooms are Suite type and great for Business travel with a little extra space to move around. I did some work in the room with the Free Wi-Fi. Nice desk and sitting area. Breakfast was good. There is a Wine and Cheese 'Happy Hour' in the afternoons. Location is good for the West side of Houston. It is priced right and is a great value. I saty here on ALL my visits to Houston.

    « Huge Disappointment »

I booked this hotel due to its overall ratings and its TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. My family was extremely disappointed in what we discovered when we arrived. Our room was extremely damp and musty and I noticed quickly that one bed had old sheets on it. There were various hairs all over the sheets and makeup on one of the pillowcases. I let the woman at the front desk know and she offered us a new room. I walked into the new room, pulled back the sheets on both beds, and found a LIVE BUG in one of the beds! The new room was much less damp and musty but I had lost all faith in their cleaning ability. We had to quickly find a new hotel and leave. The woman at the front desk was very kind and apologetic, but the management and maid service are just NOT up to par. It also did not feel like a safe area to have my kids. In the multiple times that I was at the front desk checking in, switching rooms, etc, I had to listen to one man yell profanities at his family/friends and he seemed high as a kite. Most other people who I saw both inside the hotel and in the surrounding area looked like they were a bit rough around the edges as well. Not a good area and hotel choice if you have kids. We are usually very pleased with Best Western but this was awful.

    2
    « Big disappointment »

I used Trip Advisor's 4.5 rating as a factor in my selection of this property. But for the life of me, I cannot understand that high rating. We had many problems with our room and the hotel. Hot water both days was lukewarm. The chair fabric was ripped. The AC rattled. The ice machine was out of order. The TV was blurry. The toilet seat collapsed when sat upon with the lid down. There was only one lamp at bedside. Breakfast had limited selection and was cold. There was no elevator to the second floor, requiring lugging all our stuff up the stairs.Wow, never coming back to this place!

    5
« Like Being at an Inn »

We were in Houston for the Final Four. I picked this hotel via Trip Advisor and other reviews. We were very pleased and would return. It is small, exceptionally clean, very nicely decorated, only two floors and no elevator. The staff is wonderful, friendly, helpful. The location is great. It has a lovely pool area and the breakfast is good. We did not get to enjoy the wine and cheese as we were in and out to games. There just was an overall feeling of welcome. We would come back and will recommend to others.

    5
    « Great Stay »

My husband enjoyed this Best Western very much. The hotel is clean and serves a terrific breakfast. The location is nice being close to our family and the toll way. The attention given from the staff is friendly and courteous. We will continue to stay here when visiting Houston.

    2
    « Not a Plus stay »

Disappointed in our stay. Property is old, not well maintained, and definitely not the quality of a BW Plus. Rooms had a musty smell; carpet throughout was dirty, amenities and breakfast were very minimal. The outdoor pool was dirty. We left after one night rather than staying 3.

    4
« Saturday night in Houston »

We really enjoyed our one night stay. The room was super clean and spacious, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good and well prepared. I was a little concerned because we were given a first floor room just by the main lobby, but we weren't disturbed at all overnight.

    5
« Best Hotel in Houston »

I would not consider staying anywhere else in South West Houston. , competent friendly staff, great amnesties, fantastic hot breakfast, clean rooms, great value. Shopped a lot of hotels in the area for my frequent trips to our Houston office and this property is by far the best

    3
    « It will do »

Stayed here for 5 nights. I was booked into this hotel by my company as I did some training in the area. I prob would have made a different choice. The staff was nice .. Free Hot breakfast is always welcomed.. Although there is an IHOP right next door.. 200 feet away. My room was adequate. I was booked into the handicapped accessible room.. Strangely it smelled like an old lady. An aroma I got used to after about 5 min.. The bed was very good.. I slept very well and that's damned important!! They had a hot water issue in the AM, so I showered at night to avoid the frustration..

    « Golf Houston »

I was in Houston for a winter golf trip, I found the location to be excellent for access to golf courses, shopping and restaurants. Easy access to Beltway 8 express way. Hotel has good parking and excellent WIFI access.

    5
    « Great Customer Service »

The management and service staff at this place are tremendous. The rooms a really big and comfy. Denise greeted us and did a great job managing everything, including a few issues that surfaced. They handled them quickly. Ashley does a great fresh breakfast every morning. The coffee is great too.

    5
« Great for the money »

I stayed with my family (four adults, one teen) in January 2016. It's located in a great area, safe, near restaurants and stores and at only a ten to fifteen minutes drive to Houston depending on traffic. The staff was great; Anna and Daniel at the front desk were incredibly courteous, they were always ready to help us in whatever we needed and seemed glad to do so. The housekeeping staff was also great, keeping rooms clean and beds made up. The eating area was modern and larger then most hotels; breakfast was varied, it included scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages, biscuites, has browns, oat meal, cold cereals, muffins, assorted cereals, waffles, toasts, bagels, fruits, pastries. At 4pm they had wine and appetizers, which changed every day. Our room was well illuminated, cleaned and comfortable. Beds, sheets and blankets were cleaned. Sofa bed was more comfortable then other's I've tried, the matress was still thinner than it probably should. Pool and hot tub were kept clean and functional. The Galleria is about a twnety minute drive and the Premium outlets at Cypress about thirty minutes away. Definitley would go back when I return to Houston.

« A little out of the way, but Well Worth It! »

I've stayed at a lot of Best Westerns. In fact, it's the hotel of choice. Of all the BWs in Houston, I've discovered this little gem tucked away in the center of the city. It takes a bit more effort to get to it, but it's close to many of the amenities I need and use when I'm in town. It's a quick hop via freeway from the theater district, and to several of my favorite restaurants. In addition, the hotel employees are among the nicest people. My room was spotless, the hotel is clean, my bed ultra comfortable. And I love that breakfast and 24/7 coffee! Caveat: I had a low tire pressure warning on my car the morning of my departure this time. To my delight, a Discount Tire Company was less than a mile away!

    5
« The best hotel to this point »

We are traveling across the US from the west and of all the hotels this is the best. The room was awesome with an area for sitting on a couch with a fold out bed and a desk area separate from the 2 queen size beds. It had a fridge and microwave and shower was adequate. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. If you are near this hotel and you're tired you won't be disappointed.

    5
    « Business stay »

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times and the experience is always the same, excellent! The reception staff is kind, friendly and greets me by name, the room is always clean and properly stocked and when I needed shirts dry cleaned, they had them sent out then delivered back to my room. Great staff!

    4
    « Pleasant stay »

Pleasant stay in Houston. A fair way out of downtown but was still in a good location. We had two rooms we were supposed to have one room as a king this did not happen. Pull out beds were not made up. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were attentive. Breakfast was included. There was plenty to eat and it was uncrowned. We would stay there again.

    5
    « Excellent service »

I did not plan to stay at this location, but my car was broken into and the windows busted. It was late at night and a holiday weekend during winter. I had to camp out for the night. I was lucky to find this place where the service was outstanding and the room was an excellent quality. Even the free breakfast was great. It was a great experience at an excellent price. I'll definitely be back.

    4
    « Small and personal »

We were given recommendations for restaurants by the staff. Each time we came and went one of the staff members spoke to us and seemed to remember us. The breakfast was very good and offered many options to please different tastes. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area..

    5
« Home away from Home in Houston »

Great staff always friendly and competent, amenities like happy hour, very clean big rooms with free internet, fantastic breakfast. Great value, just love the little happy hour. Great location right next to restaurants.

« Lovely hotel with excellent service »

I must give this hotel an excellent review for a number of reasons. First, the rooms are nicely furnished, very clean, and comfortable. Second, the hotel staff is friendly, courteous, and does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Third, the hot breakfast served is very good. At the front desk the lady named Anna is exceptional in her friendliness and desire to please. She should get a bonus for how well she handles customers and represents the hotel. In addition, we were there just before Christmas and the decorations were beautiful (Anna is also an artist and was responsible for them). I definitely recommend this hotel and will be happy to stay there again!

    5
« Little but comfortable time »

Even though my time was short lived at the suites it was comfortable and very close to all the needed place for anything that was needed. I was surprised by excellent Customer Server by Anna at the front desk who was very helpful with any question had making sure everything i needed was taken and yes i would stay there again.

    5
    « Value for Money »

Good value for money and an enjoyable stay. Helpful, cooperative and smiling staff. Decent breakfast options. I would recommend this place for sure with friends and family. Only thing that I would anyone to consider is the unavailability/ absence of an elevator.

    5
    « Business stay »

I have stayed at many hotels in my business travels (4-6 nights a month) and this was my first stay at this location. The location was convenient for me and access to the major roadways was simple. The staff greeted me nicely when I arrived and very courteous later when I inquired of a local place to get something to eat. The room was clean and properly stocked. I will surely stay here again!

    5
« We got the VIP room! »

Uppon arrival we met this friendly woman, who helped us find a better rate for the three nights we were going to stay than that I found online. She offered me the vip room for a very low price. We were going to pay for 2 nights and redeem 20k of our reward points. We were missing out some points from 3 previous hotels that week on our trip. So I was 150 points short. After 2 days I asked another lady I she could check me out for the first two days so I could receive those points to pay for the third night. But she told me, she was going to ask the mngr if that really was necessary. At check out it was all arranged for. One of the hotels got my point put on my balance so I had enough after all. Thanks for the help anyway, I appreciated it very much. The room was basically a lot of smaller rooms together. Lots of doors. The Jacuzzi was quit smal, but entertaining. It was also the only place to shouwer. While in the other room was a second bed/couch and tv. You could stay with 4 people in here and have two sinks but only one shouwer/Jacuzzi. The weather was poor so the pool was not being used. Our room window was at pool side, so it might be noisy when people are at the pool. The two fans on the sealing were noisy, but were easily turned of.

    « Great Stay!! »

We had a fantastic stay BW west chase mini Suites in Houston? the room was well lit, clean & spacious. The breakfast & evening snacks were nice. What we loved most about this hotel was their Staff? they were all so warm & nice! Anna & Daniel from front desk were very friendly, warm & professional. The general manager (don't remember his name) was also very courteous & went out of way to help us? They all ensured our stay was great! We have, since our stay, recommended this hotel to many of our friends. Anna would make these delicious warm biscuits for breakfast, we all loved them. The Gym, the pool & barbecue were functioned well.

    5
    « Excellent stay »

The rooms are spacious. Bed comfortable and breakfast was good. We had our fur babies with us and they gave us a room close to the exit for easier access to walking area. The staff was very friendly and loved that Ihop is right next door. The only problem is that there is no elevator in this facility.

    5
« Would stay here again »

Very friendly staff, nice-sized room, good firm bed, nice shower, very clean. Very low noise level, in fact we could not even hear anyone in the hall. IHop right in front, other restaurants nearby. Conveniently located in Westchase right off Westheimer.

    2
« Run down and needs renovation »

Curtains were filthy, hole was cut in mirror to accommodate electrical outlet, walls have uneven paint, terrible patching. I wish I could attach pictures. Just felt dirty. Does not deserve PLUS designation. This was my second attempt at this property, sorely disappointed. I will continue to stay at the BW in Sugar Land, MUCH nicer.

    5
    « October 2015 visit »

Decor of this hotel has been updated since my last visit and is very pleasing. Satisfying breakfast, clean rooms, quiet - all what you expect from a hotel when traveling. This has been my hotel of choice when visiting in the Westchase area.

  • 4
« Good location and excellent service »

This is a good hotel and you get a great service. It's not near downtown but you can access freeways and tollways very easy. Room is very spacious but decoration should be renewed since it's a bit outdated. It is very clean This is not a luxury hotel but is a great deal for the value. All glasses and dishes are disposable at the breakfast. They also have wine and cheese monday to thursday! Overall this is a great hotel for the value and I definitely will be staying again.

    5
« Very Roomy and Comfortable »

I enjoyed staying here very much. I was with a rather large group, so I didn't exactly "choose" this hotel, but I definitely would again. The room was comfortable and well-situated. (This means I wasn't cramped or running into furniture.) Shower was a bit too high to reach to adjust, but other than that, I have zero complaints.

    4
    « Good stay »

This hotel is not located in the heart of the city, but near enough to Chinatown, the Galleria and water wall. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, big and the beds were comfortable, but the bathroom is tiny and dated. Breakfast was alright. There is free coffee in the lobby, if one is lucky to get some.

    3
« Ok Hotel for a night or two »

This hotel was ok. There is no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage it could be challenging to stay on the second floor. Needs updating but it seems like they try to keep it clean. The check in experience was very good. Easy to get on Toll Road from this hotel.

    4
« Great location, Excellent Staff »

Good hotel, need new beds at least the two rooms I experienced the beds were average (111,125). I guess the lighting varies room to room. Couldn't have received better service, they have the most excellent staff. They have a wine and cheese reception. Parking was never an issue. Walls are thin and if no kids are staying above you, noise won't be an issue. The rooms are spacious.

    5
« This is my hotel of choice when I travel. »

Top of the list, the amenities. Coffee is served 24/7, plus there's a microwave and fridge in the room. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, and I like the location. If ever there's a problem, they're quick to help and address my concerns. Plus, the cost is very reasonable!

    5
    « Great Stay »

Very clean facility. Wonderful, caring staff. Had someone in the hospital for a procedure, so this was not a pleasure trip. But staff made it all so much easier. I am so blessed to have stayed here. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Will DEFINITELY stay here again if in the area.

    5
« Great customer sevice, Friendly staff »

I stayed at BW west chase mini suites for about a month for work. I had a good experience staying there... Rooms- were large, clean & well maintained. Staff - Everyone I interacted with was great, including the GM.. very professional, helpful & quick Breakfast - was decent with the usual hot and cold items Pool & barbeque - we had a good time by the pool & grilling using barbeque Onsite laundry - is good Around - hotel is close to ihop and other restaurants Overall I enjoyed my stay @ BW west chase & would recommend it to anyone...

    2
    « Terrible Odor »

My hotel room had a very strong mildew smell which was originating from the air conditioner. A strong disinfectant smell from the bathroom indicated to me that the problem was known but not understood - the bathroom did not need the industrial strength disinfectant but the air con sure did. The room was very humid - another indication there was an issue with the air con. Tried another room but it also reeked. My colleagues room next door was fine. Would not recommend this place as it is unhealthy

    3
« Not as good as reviews lead you to believe »

With all the glowing reviews, you would expect this place to be really nice, but that is just not the case. No idea how this place got such great reviews? First off, from the outside, this place really looks run down. Checked in, no problem. Got to our room, almost passed out it smelt so bad. Crancked up AC to get some air moving, went out for few hours hoping room stench would clear out. Came back, still smelled awful. Went to front desk, they gave us new room that did not smell, no issues. New room smelt a lot better. This place is fine for an overnight, but certainly not a 4.5 to 5 star deal, 3 or 3.5 stars is about where this place should rate, not great but not terrible either. On the upside, the free coffee in the morning tasted good.

« Good Pet Friendly place to stay »

Decent place to stay for a night or two. A little expensive for week nights. Room had some dust on furniture but generally clean. Appreciated that this hotel is pet freindly. would be nice to have a designated pet walk area.
