Best Western Galleria Inn & Suites

The bar staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Kat the manager was awesome and went above and beyond to provide an excellent experience. Ashlyn was my main bartender both nights and she made me feel right at home (and made an incredible old fashioned and espresso martini) and Jess was the other bartender and she was amazing as well. If you're visiting Houston or just attending an Astros game (this place is right across the street from the right field entrance, perfect pregame or postgame location) and want an amazing experience and some awesome cocktails, this is the place to go.

I love this hotel everytime I come I feel welcomed. I love the staff. The breakfast is great aswell. My favorite thing to do is workout at the gym. And in the summer swim and tan in the pool. I would recommend this hotel for anyone.

Excellent service. Good value for money. Front desk was very welcoming. Room was very clean and the bed very comfy. I will definitely use this hotel if ever I am in the area again. The lady that checked me made sure that my points were added to my rewards account, and I liked that about het.

They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Jazz is the best A+ would stay there again. Great location and great atmosphere and amenities great workers. Breakfast was very good

Don't stay here!!!!! I checked in this place one day, and there was roaches on the ground, and then a lizard in my room! I told the manager and she put me in another room however that room the air conditioner didn't work so they put me in another room. I had to pack up twice and finally checked out. The manager is giving me a tough time about refunding me after this horrible experience. Do yourself a favor, pay more and get a decent hotel because this is not one!!!!!

Check-in and personnel very accomodating. Changed location of room on request . (why would you place someone in a room closest to the front desk when there are many rooms available? ) Provided additional bedding- as requested. ( as there was no coverlet- but a second top sheet). Ice machine broken, but had ice on hand in baggies in a cooler at front desk on request. (I hated to be such a pest) Midweek stay allowed ample parking. Breakfast was OK, I remember better at an alternate property - a plus - property, but no complaints (coffee never meets my taste) My only and biggest discomfort was the firmness of the mattress- HARD as a ROCK- and lumpy. I was hoping for better. Location worked perfect. The bedding condition is my only reason for leaving a review, The personnel have to try very hard to overcome the propertys shortcomings. Kudos to them for trying their very hardest to make guests feel comfortable.

Had a good stay location is very noisy, breakfast ok rooms clean beds average. For price and location good price. But will not stay here again. Customer service average. By the way hsk are awesome workers.

The third floor smell of sewage, the ice machine was broken. Hair was in the shower wall of my room. The breakfast sausages were not cooked. No one spoke English in the breakfast I had a question no one could answer.

Apparently when they ask you what time you plan on checking in on their reservation confirmation it has no affect. I filled in 2-4 pm and arrived at 3 PM and at the counter they said no checkin before 4 PM

I had a good stay and have no complaints. It's not the greatest area or greatest hotel but it was good and it did what it needed. Hot water stayed hot even after like 4 people showering, which was nice. Pool was good. It would get a bit hot in the room and took a bit before it would actually cool down. It is in Texas so it's just got everywhere.

Great location convenient to a large store/gas station/car wash/ serves hot food all hours - for anything you may need. Sweets for the room, or healthy foods also. Nice lighted parking lot. Overall A+ rating!

I have stayed in this hotel many times but so deteriorated and poor quality and service, i used to use only best western but latley have opted to use other hotels because i dont feel lime im comfortable or safe staying there in beat westerns

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very polite. The shower heads are a little low, but over all it was a good room for the money. I would definitely stay there again. There are a lot of choices for dinner very close to the property.

I want to tell you about Ms. Dede Smith who from the moment we arrived was friendly, professional and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. Ms. Smith has honestly been the best front desk attendant we've had at any of our visited Best Western.

The staff lives to serve. Just so accommodating. Need extra towels or blankets? Just ask the front desk. Breakfast is good and plentiful. The beds are very comfortable. This is our go-to hotel any time we visit family in Houston.

We've been staying in this hotel for almost 3 weeks. Hotel stuff are so helpful and genial. Especially Katie who is responsibble for the breakfast is so smiling and hospitable. She deserve much better position in the hotel. We thing hotel meneger is doing her job by love and the result is wonderful. Thanks to hotel.

The hotel provides the ambience of a home away from home. I enjoyed the quality of staff engagements and serviceability. The breakfast was great all the time. The internet was stable while I enjoyed the swimming pool the most.

Hotel is well appointed with clean linenes, a super comfy bed, spacious rooms, and some of the best staff in the industry. Their hot breakfast is a wonderful way to start your day. I highly recommend choosing this property.

My stay at the Best Western was simple and easy. I was in Houston for business and was looking for a easy location to stay at and Best Western provided me that. The customer service was great and I have nothing negative to say about my stay.

The school entire hotel smells of mildew and water damage. The rooms were deplorable! Breakfast was disgusting! Blood on the mattress. The mattress was hard as a rock dirty paper thin sheets. mold in my room. My children got sick. I will be posting pictures on google reviews. This place should be shut down!

I usually stay at this hotel when I am visiting Houston. The staff is great and the hotel is clean. I have never had a problem with any of the rooms I've stayed in. Good value, great people!! I definitely recommend this hotel.

Really nice property that we stayed at while attending concert at NRG stadium 5 miles away. Reasonable rideshare rates to venue. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and staff was friendly & helpful. No complaints at all. In fact Sherry at front desk upgraded me at no cost to a king suite, and checked on us twice when she saw us in lobby. Breakfast was good in the morning.

This hotel is not worth the stay. pics were taken with a wide-angle camera. It was not clean, the room had worn linen that could have been used as a rag. burnt iron carpet that would rub your skin while walking barefoot in the room. Given a queen bed saying it's a king. Small kids pillows for a king bed. The nightstands were a foot away from the bed the fridge cabinet would pull out when one pulls the fridge door. the furniture all over the hotel was stripping or peeling. especially the entrance. bugs all over the premise.

Great value for dollar near the Galleria. Quite comfortable, with a nice breakfast included. Easily located on Richmond, nice pool, easy parking. Rooms are spacious, have mini-frig and microwave, good bed, nice linens.

Beautiful place and great breakfast. Air conditioner doesn't cool well and neither do the remotes for the tv. No relaxing happening here. Employees were very friendly and accommodating, but manager couldn't care less!

We did not have any issues with our stay. The elevator was broken and we were moved from 3rd floor to 2nd floor. Our room was clean. Our bed and pillows were comfortable. TV and refrigerator worked fine - microwave and coffee maker in the room but did not use. AC worked fine. The pool area looked clean but we did not use the pool. Breakfast was make your own waffle, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals and some days danishes. Breakfast area could get crowded. We did not realize maid service was not provided daily which was not really a big deal. We got towels each day at the front desk without any problem. The hotel is short staffed. We saw the same lady working every day we were there which was 4 days. She said she was working the front, breakfast area, helping with the laundry, etc. Even though she was working extra, she was always very hospitable and friendly. The parking area was well lit. Hotel is next door to a convenience store.

Elevator broken. Breakfast hopeless. No refills at Breakfast. Toilet broken. Messed up our anniversary. The housekeeping staff were rude and not welcoming customers. Bad oder in the room. Geto neighborhood. Unsafe area.

Recently stayed at the galleria BW. I accidentally left my phone at the hotel. Contacted them from a friend's phone, found out, they found it, and held on to it until I came back. I had a business trip to attend for 3 days in galveston. When I came back, they still had it. The entire crew involved was professional, and courteous eventhough it was MY blunder. Great place to stay, nice cool beds, and the shower was amazing. 10/10 I'd recommend.

My family and I were traveling back from a cruise. We stayed her for the night until our flight left the next morning. We like the area which is why we chose that place. It was clean, we were able to wash clothes, I used my travel agent discount. The next morning however we were leaving to catch our flight and we're told we couldn't eat breakfast because it was 15 til breakfast started. So after paying our money we had to pay for breakfast at the airport.

Very peaceful and quiet location and environment, Room was clean, breakfast was good should've have had another meat choice, during check in staff was rude. Morning staff was much friendlier, greeted with a SMILE and willing to assist. :)

Not bad for the price. No housekeeping services we provided on my trip of 4 nights. Concierges were very pleasant. Don't rely on the breakfast but location has many options. Will definitely stay there again.

We've stayed at many Houston hotels over the years and this one is a keeper. It was very quiet. No traffic noise, no patrons slamming doors, no noise from adjoining rooms: something we've had trouble with in more expensive hotels before. Also, the neighborhood seemed safe. The bathrooms were clean and the rooms also.

Recently spent 2 days in Houston, had a wonderful stay! It was a flawless stay from the perspective of a frequent traveler who has basically seen it all at this point. The staff was great, attentive and helpful. Everything from the lobby, the dining area, the elevators, the hallways, and my room were very clean! Right when you walk into the lobby you can tell the place has been very well taken care of! In the mornings the breakfast was plentiful and well laid out, lots of guests were enjoying the breakfast and it seems like this hotel actually makes their breakfast a priority which is always a huge plus. I'm happy to report that the rooms were clean and QUIET (light sleepers take note!) It's also worth mentioning that the internet was hassle-free to sign onto and was blazing fast!! After a full day of zigzagging the highways of Houston I found it downright therapeutic to enjoy the spacious, tiled shower! I would definitely recommend this hotel, their GM Nicole greeted me at the front desk and made sure I was able to reach out to her if I had any questions or complaints. An *honestly* pleasant stay!!!

We checked in early and the staff was very pleasant. The room was a king suite facing the street, and it had a nice view. We rented a car and this location provided a nice parking lot. Try to park in the front if possible. Other than that the rooms are quiet and comfortable. Came with a mini-fridge, microwave and flat screen TV. If you're looking to go to explore Houston or have a business trip, this is a nice spot to stay.

We chose this hotel because it is near the Galleria mall. We rented a car, and fortunately there is free parking at the hotel. The front desk woman greeted us nicely and gave us access to our room before the stated check-in time. That was a big relief as we were tired from flying in from Southern California. My husband's family lives a few miles away which may this a natural and convenient choice. We stayed here during the holidays and it was a relatively cozy and warm place to stay. I would recommend for traveling with kids or traveling for work alike. Will be back next year for the holidays most likely.

We came here on a family trip during Thanksgiving break. The hotel seemed quite new and clean, though I think it may have been a recent remodel. Richmond proved to be a nice jumping point to explore Houston as it is in a nice area (Uptown), but still just a quick hop to the 69 freeway. During the trip we explored the museum row and especially enjoyed the butterfly habitat by the way. The rooms were modern minimalist style, and the couches turned into pull out beds which was nice for my son. The room had a mini-fridge and microwave also, which made it convenient to enjoy our leftovers from our nights out. The breakfast was a hit, with the make your own waffle machine. It was a simple breakfast, but enough to kickstart the day. Great hotel for exploring Houston with your family or loved ones.

I stayed at this Best Western for a few weeks on an extended business trip in Uptown area of Houston. This hotel was well-positioned on Richmond to allow me to come and go as I pleased. The location is accessible and near the freeway as well. In terms of the hotel itself, it's a nice clean place to relax at the end of the day. The breakfast is continental style- pastries, juices, coffee, waffle maker, etc. Convenient for grab and go, or a quick breakfast. There's a pool and gym area, but I didn't have a chance to use either. The front desk was helpful, as I lost my key 3 or 4 times during the duration of the stay and they were friendly and promptly issued me a new one with a smile each time. Overall, it's a solid stay for the price you pay.

Very nice staff , clean hot tub and room. Breakfast was hot , they let us sleep in lol that's a major plus for the beer we drank the night before but over all review was good food good service good sleep was good

I stayed at this hotel on a recent business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised. My room was a king suite on the second floor and i was informed that my room had a new mattress. Surprisingly, it was a very comfortable sleep. In the morning they serve free breakfast composed mainly of waffles, eggs, yogurts, cereals and juices. They also served meats I noticed but didn't pay much attention to that as I don't eat that. There is a pool in the back with a nice little fountain. The main benefit to me was the location, being about 5 minutes away to the Galleria Mall. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Will likely stay here again when I come back to town in the spring

Hotel is sparkling clean, especially the bathroom and shower. It is located near very good restaurants and close to freeways. The breakfast was the average fair and just fine. The online check-in service was very convenient. The beds were comfy and the location was nice and quiet.

I absolutely love my stay at Best Western! Shirley was very nice and helpful.. She helped me get back into my room when I forgot my key. Also she is very funny! Would definitely stay here again again!!

Was in Houston for three months on a project and chose this site randomly. It turned out to be a great decision. All the staff was excellent, from the front desk to housekeeping. Always friendly and professional. Destiny, Miyiah, Shirley and Jobanny were very accommodating with all the deliveries I had sent to the hotel. They allowed me to keep the many large boxes in their work space qithout any complaints. And Nicole was also very attentive in that respect. Not a single complaint from me.

This place was great, super clean and had wonderful customer service. The breakfast bar was pretty good they had a variety to choose from such as pancakes, waffles, juice, milk, cereal, and fruit. The pool was amazing, so clean and pretty. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, not to mention the bathroom was clean, organized, and smelled fresh. You'll definitely enjoy your stay here and get your money's worth.

Stayed one night so that I would be close to medical plaza for a 6:30 am appointment/procedure 4 minutes away close to Memorial Hermann Hospital.. This hotel is in the Galleria area, close to shopping & dining.as well. Large breakfast selection, included scrambled eggs & sausage served 6 - 9 am which made it nice to eat before my morning appointment. Pool facing room - a/c kept cool but never seemed to get cold, but maybe just me. Husband seemed comfortable at temp.

Nice staff. Room was very clean cafeteria was clean and everything was working properly. I had trouble using my tv and attendant came personally and show me how to work my remote control and when asked for an extra blanket she brought right away. Food was great. It is worth the price.

At first we were very pleased with this hotel. The lobby area was clean and attractive and they were serving a full hot breakfast bar. But our room was never cleaned despite staying 4 nights. The hotel apparently has a Covid policy of no room servicing UNLESS guest is there for 3 nights. Well we were there for 4 nights and requested that our room be cleaned after the 3rd night. It wasn't. Also the elevator broke and wasn't repaired. My 90 year old mother could not walk up the stairs to the room. Staff initially wasn't going to do anything about this situation until I had an emotional breakdown. We were in town to see a family dying member. Not a pleasure trip.

Room was not fully cleaned, even after they "cleaned", dirty towel in bathroom, toothpaste on counter, coffee pod in coffee maker. Didn't even mop the bathroom floor. Elevator only went up from lobby. Could not go down from my floor. Cannot call hotel, phone number on website not working. Phones in room did not work. Had to take the stairs

Walked into our room and was hit by the smell of pee. Every inch of the carpet was completely soaked in pee smell. We talked to the young woman at the front desk (who was amazing during our very brief stay) and she came to check out the issue. She confirmed our problem with her manager, who refused to let us switch rooms that night without us paying an additional charge. The smell was overbearing and disgusting so we left and went to a different hotel a few minutes later. We were told we would not be charged for the trip - will see if the manager keeps her word on that.

Honestly, I could have overlooked just about anything until I had to sleep in the bed. The BW's are about an 80% success rate for me. Most are really nice and comfy and meet my level of expectations for a mid-ranged priced room, but this BW is not up to par. You can tell it's a little dated but has had a simple/basic remodel (paint, some furniture and floors), but the bed is the worst hotel bed I've stayed in, in years! It was extremely flat and hard and you can tell it was older and needs to be replaced. Please require a mattress update! I would expect this particular mattress at a Motel 6 or older Days Inn (that is what it reminds me of). I'm still sore from the stay because I'm a side sleeper and only a back sleeper could likely enjoy this bed at all. I do not normally complain about hotels. The hotel has a great valued price, it does, $55 for a week night as we had a medical procedure at the hospital down the road, BUT I would have gladly paid double that just to have a good sleep. On top of the worst mattress EVER, the ac compressor sounds like it might blow up when it kicks in and is very loud, ac rattles. Seems to have problems gauging the temps and when to kick in so I woke up several times trying to keep cool. I could have lived with that if the bed wasn't so bad. Basic room, very clean, no USB chargers (I went unprepared because I read a review there were chargers - There are none) but definitely plenty of traditional plugs on each side of bed. No fan in bathroom, not a deal breaker. Bummed that there was only 1 snack machine in the hotel (no mini store) and there was NOTHING left in it except 3 bags of some stuff no one would want. It was a Wed night, so there couldn't have been but 20 rooms booked. They booked someone right above us hours later and I could hear them walking back and forth for an hour. I could hear their shower running. It woke my fiance up with the noise. I've stayed in lots of Best Westerns, all over the country and I have about an 85% success rate of getting a great one, but every now and then - these are not up to par. This BW should be ashamed compared to some of the other great locations I've stayed at. I literally just stayed in BW in Denver and BW in Moab and they are wonderful! If you're looking for that true "cheap" place to stay or just needing a place to sleep so the saying goes, then this may work for you. If you're looking for decent comfort below $100, I'd consider looking at other options.

They have a large parking lot and the rooms are very very clean. I slept very comfortable. The night staff and the manager were very friendly and accomodating. I will definitely be coming back when i travel here for work.

I REALLY enjoyed my stay! Will definitely be staying here again! Very comfortable beds and very good stay. My girlfriend also enjoyed her stay as well, definitely got some brownie points for this one!

Check in at 4:00 and there was no hot water in the next day they told us to just deal with it because of New Years I did not leave because I didn't know what to expect on a holiday weekend went to get juice in the morning and roaches were coming out to took a picture

My stay at the best western was very pleasant. I missed placed my USB charger and Nicole, at the front desk, was very nice to help me charge my phone without leaving the property so I can get more rest before check out.

Really great staff...rooms nice clean . A/c was already on...comfortable bed..clean sheets..clean carpet.. I've stayed at this hotel about 20 times .its right in the middle of everything you need..you can't go wrong staying here!! I got a really nice relaxing stay..good sleep :)

this hotel was good. the room was nice and comfortable. Parking was easy to find, they gave us a parking pass. The lobby was clean and the staff was very nice and made everything easy. Me and my boyfriend booked online so it just made it way easier to check in.

Lobby was very nice, parking was easy and available, free breakfast, clean room, great toiletry products but the room smelt so bad like pee. Especially when the AC/Heater unit was blowing air. The smell was so bad we almost asked for another room.

I stayed at this location because it was close to my son's home. For the great price I did not expect much, but it was absolutely like new and perfect. It could not have been more perfect. Much better than hotels I have stayed in for four times the price.

We were originally going to stay at the downtown inn and suites not. But we decided on a whim to try out the galleria location. We are very happy with the decision that we met. The jacuzzi room was absolutely fantastic very very spacious and the tub was divine. I will be back. What

Hotel clean. WIFI good. Breakfast boring and poor. Cleaning staff anoying, knocking on your door every 5 minutes to make you get out of the room so they can complete the cleaning ASAP. Reception staff generally kind with some exceptions.

Great price, excellent made to order breakfast, friendly staff, great location for a HBU game! Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. We will stay here again. Free parking also! Quick & friendly check in.

This hotel serves breakfast in a very different manner, the lady that service it is rude and clearly provides a body language that tells you she does not want to be there. Be ready to finish your breakfast before 9:00 hours as she pulls the plug on everything, toaster, coffee machine, and even the television. You will be surrounded with turn tables and chairs in less than 15 min eating your breakfast in between. Complained at the GM, but had no effect as the next morning same ritual, not a hotel I would recommend and this is mainly because of the attitude of the people

Very Comfortable Room & Bed Slept Well. was a little disappointed with the breakfast sausage didn't taste well and the eggs were overcooked. Had the omelette instead. The Bed was very comfortable looking forward to my next visit. close to everything shopping & eats.

I came down this weekend for an event at NRG. I will say, I wasn't sure about this place upon arrival. While checking-in, there was a homeless man passed out in his wheelchair with all of his belongings in plastic bags (which is why I am assuming he was homeless). While I do have a big heart and open mind for the homeless, I don't think that this is good for business. While I'm glad the guy could beat the heat and take a snooze, at least let them hang out at another part of your hotel -- not right at check-in. When he did wake up, he interrupted to use the phone. The entire process took a bit longer than usual (15-20m) because I don't think the agent was too sure on how to process multiple methods of payment (3 gift cards and CC). She seemed more annoyed at me than anything, even though the instructions on how front desk staff are to process were on the GC print out. Also, there was no acknowledgment of being a loyal rewards member -- other than her letting me know points had been added to my account at the end. This is one thing I really like about BW Rewards, the little water or chips upon arrival or free room upgrade. It really sets you apart from the others so I think you should start implementing that at this location. The rooms are huge and clean. Comfortable bed. I wasn't too thrilled to have the very first room on the first level; was worried about the noise for breakfast and late night lobby guests -- but didn't have a problem. I will say, your rooms are so clean that the little thing stick out. For example, the tub grout (as pictured). Everything looks newly renovated so I was really thrown off to see that. It made the shower experience less than desirable. Overall, this is a good spot in Houston. Cheap Uber rides to and from NRG. Plenty of places to walk and get a meal. It was good for one night. Not sure I would stay at this Houston BW location again.

The location of the hotel is really good. Ricmond is a happening street with multiple food and entertainment options. Rooms are decent and nicely maintained. Staff is nice and breakfast is good to have while on the go.

Nice, newly renovated, clean and fresh. Spacious rooms. Breakfast a plus with person there to prepare fresh eggs, omelets and pancakes. Only downfall was area around hotel had several abandoned buildings and “adult entertainment” properties.

Nice staff especially the manager, cleaning crew are doing great job and very helpful, good pool, need to check the AC in the rooms some of it not cooling enough. The restaurant is clean and the servers are courteous and tend to guests needs right away.(Weekend)

Unfriendly front desk staff... Cigarette burn on bedding in a non smoking room.. Room across hall has WET paint sign. My husband asked 2 change rooms. Found front desk staff unhelpful and un professional! She said ' not my business, I just work here' ????? This is not good treatment 4 platinum members of BW.

We came in for a birthday celebration for my husband in the Galleria area. This hotel was in the perfect location for everything that we had planned. The rooms were nice for the price and the lobby and breakfast area were very clean. All staff members that we came in contact with were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We did not use the pool but the pool area was clean and the water was clean and clear. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Ankit provided 5-Star Customer Service when he helped us reserve the accessible king room with a roll-in shower & the adjoining room with 2 queen beds, which was perfect for our weeklong vacation with a special needs family member. In addition Ankit called our cell phone after noticing we'd accidentally left our travel brochures in the lobby on the first morning & greeted us by name on other mornings. When asked which was his favorite activity in Houston, our special needs cousin said, "Johnson Space Center." When asked which was his favorite restaurant, he replied, "Breakfast at the Besty Westy!" Each morning we looked forward to the "Create Your Own Breakfast Menu" options of eggs, omelets/burritos & pancakes made by friendly staff, in addition to bagels, pastries, dry cereals, oatmeal & toppings, fresh fruit & beverages, which included a non-dairy milk option. The breakfast exceeded our expectations! One con: strip club across the street. Other pros: pool, free parking including several handicapped parking spaces, free internet & convenient location near The Galleria, the Houston DaVita Galleria dialysis clinic, restaurants & not far from the Water Wall and Hermann Park with the Zoo, train & paddle boats. It was also a great launch pad for our visit to the Johnson Space Center!

Clean, modern, well furnished, and mostly well maintained. There are a few restaurants within a half mile or so, many more with a mile. For the guys there's a Centerfold Men's Club a half block away, for the ladies there's a LaBare directly across the street. Neighborhood is a mixture of businesses and apartments. Parking area is off street behind hotel in enclosed area. Breakfast is very typical of Best Westerns, OK but not exceptional. Pool is in outdoor enclosure and nice, but rooms on first floor pool side can be a bit noisy if kids are in pool. Front desk staff are pleasant and agreeable. Rate was well-priced. We had mobility accessible room 102, it was very large with nice décor (pics), with a large bathroom. The only negatives were (1) the double-queen mattresses were very firm, which is more or less typical, and (2) the accessible shower/tub had only a hand-held shower head with hose, and the pipe extending from the shower wall to the hose had a jury-rigged repair which prevented the shower head from being hung to directionally spray toward the person showering, so that you could only shower while holding the shower nozzle in your hand. (pics) Also, there was no soap dish or holder anywhere in the shower or tub, and no flat place to set the soap on. Weird. Yes, we would stay here again, but request a different room.

We only stayed one night. Didn't have any problems checking in or out. The room was about average compared to other Best Westerns I have stayed at. The only two things were the Air Conditioning was noisy when cooling, fan was okay. The bed had a thin blanket, so if you get cold keep the temp high on the AC. The breakfast was average, the prepared eggs and sausage were cold but they have someone who can make you a fresh egg omlet if you wish. It's okay for a short stay.

This is where we usually stay when in Houston because the rooms are large, extremely clean and the management staff always sees to it that we have a great stay! We have been staying at this hotel for over 10 years!

I enjoyed my stay at the Best Western! I had never stayed At a hotel like this in my life! I so totally enjoyed my self. From the moment I got there I revived the best customer service ever! All hotels was booked and a lady at another hotel called down to this hotel which is the Best Western Galleria. They provided me late check out and all! Breakfast was amazing and the pool was also! The bed was like heaven! I will come back soon! Manager from the night to the morning was amazingly nice! Bakir zakat

Great location. Wish the breakfast was the same at all location. French quarter has the best breakfast, however this is satisfactory. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. Fitness center was nice. Shampoo & conditioner was best I've used at any hotel

The hotel was great. Super sweet people, spacious and cozy rooms. The views isn't bad. The pool looked really nice. Parking wasnt bad wish they would have a security officer. Great location to stereo live Wish they could get a car service to the location since it's right down the road

Upon arrival desk clerk very busy on her cell phone. There were no blankets in room. Asked this clerk for blankets, she gave us one blanket and one mattress cover. Had to return to exchange again. Noisy heater. Noisy refrigerator. Luke warm shower water. Beds very hard, old. This place is about same level as a Motel 6 with a decent breakfast. Trash in the parking lot not picked up after multiple days. Pool looked nice, but too cold weather. upon checkout, I left keys on desk, spoke with sitting clerk, no receipt offered, no mention of rewards points, never addressed me by name. Suggest readers stay in another motel/hotel, Comfort Inn nearby. We paid $80 plus tax for two beds, probably could stay much nicer place for that price in dead of winter. Lots of nude dance halls in the block, area. A little dicey.

I apologize for such a delayed review but i just needed to make sure to take a moment and let you know what a great Hotel and Staff you have at this location. Everyone went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and the accommodations were great as well. I especially wanted to make a shout out to Sakina in the food prep area. She not only make you feel at home but truly welcomed. Sakina went out of her way to bring our food to the table and always gave my wife praise. We travel for medical and she hugged my wife telling her all would be okay and was truly loved. We cried as we truly felt uplifted and uniquely Blessed. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and convenience to everything we wanted to do. We will stay again the next time we ate in the area.Breakfast attended(sorry I failed to get her name) was very bubbly and cheerful, went out of her way to make us comfortable.

You would think with minimal occupants on a week night that it would not be necessary to fill rooms side by side. We stayed 2 nights and each night we were disturbed by the neighbouring room occupants. The first night a guy coughed all night. On the second night I was ready with ear plugs but the banging of the bed head in the next door room immediately behind our heads was sufficient to wake us at 2am this morning. Pleasures of the night were obviously taking place and we were disturbed with that and talking for 2 hours. Two nights of disturbed sleep does not equal a happy customer!

Good hotel with morning brakfast, they make the omlet and pancakes right for you and even offer gluten free cereal. Nice people and very good service. Didn't have a chance to use big swimming pool right under our room windows because the weather was unusual cold

When we arrived, the outside appearance was neat & clean, but obviously not a new building. After entering, we found it to be exceptionally clean and well kept. Not modern, but nice. At the front desk, Oliver warmly greeted us at check-in, and quickly pointed us to a wonderful Thai restaurant which was just across the street. Our room was very clean, and had one of the better mattresses I've slept on recently. The only problem we encountered was a deadbolt which wouldn't lock. It was mentioned to the manager at the desk the next morning, it was corrected by the time we returned that afternoon, and the manager followed up to ensure it was taken care of. Free hotel breakfasts have generally gone downhill in recent years, and we were prepared for another bare-bones, generic hotel breakfast. Thankfully, there was a wonderfully pleasant young lady, named Sakina, who was ready and willing to prepare eggs, pancakes and waffles to order. I had a terrific omelet, and my wife had pancakes with a fried egg alongside to help us start our day. It made a big difference in how we viewed our stay, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

We were looking for a good hotel with value for money to stay a week while visiting family in Houston. This hotel exceeded our expectations. We opted for a suite and found a spacious, very clean accommodation with a super comfortable bed, good television and excellent bathroom. It was perfect for a week. Another great amenity was the wonderful breakfast cooked to order by Sakina. Sakina is a gem who gives personalised, warm customer service as well as providing excellent breakfasts. She made our experience away from home very special. Oliver at reception also took great care of us, made us feel welcome when we arrived and helped us set up the Best Western Loyalty program on the next day. We also appreciated the 24-hour excellent coffee and fruits. The air conditioning units may need some inspection, but we would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

Stayed here for a night on our way to the Finger Lakes to do some shopping. The hotel staff was friendly however were not put together making the hotel seem less professional. The room was stinky and the taps had a mould smell every time you turned them on. The hotel itself was a maze, it was so hard to get around! Breakfast was ok, nothing to rave about. Location was great, but that was it.

I was greeted by Oliver on arrival. He was so very nice and friendly. He got me all taken care of and off to my room. He was there every evening when I returned to greet me and have a short chat. In the morning, it was Sukina in the breakfast room. She was phenomenal. On a scale of 1-10, she is 100! By the second day she knows who you are and what you like. She will gently suggest you try something new, but is so happy to fix just what you want. You can tell she really loves taking care of her customers - just like family. You don't get this level of service in many 'elite' hotels. This one is a keeper.

This is a Best Western, but it is just as nice inside as the Westin Galleria. It is 2 miles from the mall and an easy on/off the freeway to get downtown. Free parking and free breakfast is a huge plus. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy since there are strip clubs up and down Richmond. Note....there are no zoning codes in the “city” of Houston. That said, I felt perfectly safe and had no problem leaving my car in the parking lots. I think it was safer than dealing with a high rise parking garage. Houston is not a walking city. I would not walk in this area or take the bus, but I wouldn't do that anywhere in Houston. Oliver at the front desk was very professional and welcoming and let me know all about the hotel and assured me if there was anything I needed, just call. Sakina, who is in charge of breakfast, is wonderful! She will brighten your morning and makes a fabulous cooked to order breakfast. She even accommodated us a few minutes early so we could make our early morning meeting. Sarah made sure my room was made up and fresh every day, even made a cute towel Elephant for my bed. I would definitely stay again.

Last time I stayed in a Best Western Salt Lake City.UT in 2002. It was a disaster. My how that has changed. The moment we walked in to an inviting and clean lobby: Oliver greeted us. Warm and knowledgeable. Thank you Oliver. Our room was large, clean and inviting. Loved the Elephant towel sculpture. Little touches like the TV remote in a clean bag. All counters and drawers wiped out. Microwave and refrigerator clean. Bathroom spotless with ample towels and toiletries. Comfortable work space. The very comfortable side chair with side table is a great idea. Mattress and pillows just to my liking. Let's talk breakfeast. No charge made to order eggs, omelets and pancakes.... Sounds like a trap... Not so.... Sakina is a treasure and a true charm to this property. I heard her great guests in Emglish, Spanish and French. Everything was cooked perfect. Sakina tabled delivered each order and followed up on each table. Day 2 Sakina welcomed us by name. Usual selection of scrambled eggs, protein,cereals, fresh made yogurt.and beverages. 24 hours coffee, flavored water and fruit available. Did I mention Sakina ? What a joy. A loose toilet seat was taken care of in under 10 minutes. Spend 5 minutes with the General Manager and you know why this Hotel is the place to stay... Her passion and joy is contagious. Kudos to the Franchisee for having the vision and talent to put together a wonderful experience. We will be back... Back for business and pleasure.

The front desk took about 5 minutes to provide keys because the blank cards were not reading properly. Our room was nice and the bed comfortable. However, the room across the hall had a problem and a maintenance person was working on it until about 10:00pm. It was noisy. The breakfast was very good with made to order pancakes and burritos.

Hotel is clean & comfortable with free parking. Walking distance to eateries & bars. The breakfast is fab & you get fresh pancakes omelette or burrito to order your way. Plus the usual cereal yoghurt toast bagels fruit. It has a small gym which is ok for 2 people to work out in no more.

I have too say this place is the best place I ever stayed. Due to Albert Costly he gave me the best customer service possible. I have to say that I will be staying here again. Great breakfast I love the breakfast, The clean rooms. Excellent service just the overall experience. Typically don't write reviews when I was Greeted so well I couldn't help myself but too!

My family and I were interested in staying, short term, at the Best Western Galleria while our house is being constructed. Upon entering the beautiful hotel lobby, we were greeted warmly by the desk staff and Albert Costly, the manager. This hotel is excellent. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, good mattresses, great rates, gated parking, and plenty of amenities. A special thanks to Mr. Costly for his professionalism, kindness, friendliness and great service. Mr. Costly is very knowledgeable and seems to care a great deal about the appearance and cleanliness of the hotel. I was impressed and we pre-paid to stay in the hotel until my house is completed.

This hotel is awesome. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the service is exceptional. I booked online and upon arrival I was greeted by the sales manager Albert Costly. Albert made things happen for me and made my stay awesome. He was extremely professional and caring. And he got me a last minute room for my moms best friend as well, and hooked her up with the same rate as me. Thanks Albert you are amazing.

Hotel is conveniently located for my business trips and fit well to my family or leisure trips too. I feel close to Galleria Mall which is just great and at the same time close to places in Houston that I usually visit. Rooms, staff, breakfast, and everyone overall are just great, congratulations

The front desk was so nice and helpful throughout my entire stay. After a workout one night (the gym is small, but works) I was wanting a snack and they gave me some fruit for free out of the dining room. The room was spacious and comfortable. The room was always clean when I got back from my day. The complimentary breakfast was much better than I expected! I will stay here again next time I'm in Houston

I recently stayed at Best Western for business. I enjoyed the hotel amenities and the building was clean and new. Service outstanding, check-in process easy. The breakfast was excellent with made-to-order omelets and waffles. The AC was basic but functioned well and was not noisy. In-room wifi worked great, the desk space was exactly what I needed to attend to business and near a window. Of note, the lamp light was flickering and when I called the front desk they came up within a couple minutes to change the light bulb. Easy access to several outlets near bed for overnight charging and near desk. Shower pressure was excellent. Room was cold at night, I requested extra blankets. Hotel is across the street from Thai Gourmet and near several restaurants and frozen yogurt shops.

Best Western Galleria Houston was the best. Our room was spacious,clean and well serviced. Breakfast was great. Apart from cereal,muffins,toast etc you can have your eggs cooked to order. Hot and delicious. The staff are great. Special thanks to Moe and Shirley who where so helpful and made us feel so welcome. Thank you. If we ever come back to Houston this is where we will stay.

We stayed one night at the Best Western before flying to Mexico. It was in a good location for the Galleria, but our travel time to and from the airport doubled in rush hour which we didn't allow for. $90 taxi fare!! Lesson learned. The room was perfectly amenable for our group of three. I'd asked for the sofa bed to be ready, which it wasn't. I called down for linen which was delivered, but lacking in pillows. The mattress on the sofa bed was pretty awful. We had an early start which meant we didn't partake of the breakfast, the night before we'd been offered "to go" bags, but the lady at the front desk in the morning wasn't aware of this! She quickly made up some snacks which we were grateful for. All in all - not bad.

I experianced no issues. The property is clean inside and out. Updated rooms other than the floor squeaking when you walk it was a great stay. When I checked in they were awsome and provided all the information I needed.

We came for a concert at the stereolive which was 2 min walk perfect distance. Great customer service checking in, enjoyed the pool, loved the breakfast omelette station that was awesome! Definitely will recommend this place to others!

Our family had a very enjoyable stay during the Easter weekend in Houston and Chef Joseph was great on the grill for breakfast. He truly gave the morning breakfast a unique experience. The eggs and pancakes were great.

We booked this hotel last minute on booking.com as we were flying in from Nashville to Houston and needed accommodation for only one night. Our room is lovely nice and spacious, good location but the best part was meeting the lovely lady on the desk Danielle. She was so upbeat, bubbly and helpful giving us some great tips of some "must do's" while in the city. Best Western is lucky to have such a customer focused emplyee working for them! We loved our over night stay in such a beautiful city.

Booked same day on through the BW app as we were traveling back to Houston from San Antonio. Would have been a bit happier with a location closer to the Galleria Mall. Nice spacious room and free breakfast.

Check in was quick. We were greeted daily and the amenities were kept up. The location was great because it was very close to shopping and eating. The hotel was also very close to the interstate so it made it possible to get to other locations.

The hotel was great. Comfy bed, very clean and awesome breakfast! Joesph the chef makes omelets and pancakes made to order! I was a late to the breakfast and he made me one anyway! Beautiful way to start the day!

This was a very comfortable hotel, The bed, the living room everything about it was great. I really enjoyed the fact that breakfast ended at 10. I was out of the hotel by 8 but at a lot of these places breakfast ends very early and it was very delicious anything you want they prepare my compliments to the chef Joseph, he was great and professional he made everything and it was to perfection. Thanks again to everyone. I will go back for sure when I'm in Houston.

I spent one night here recently with a friend who was having surgery in the medical center the following day. I had reserved a handicapped accessible room to help accommodate my friend who was having a hip replacement. The room was clean and nicely appointed. Service at the front desk was excellent. I had one chief complaint which kept me from leaving a 5-star review. Since this was a handicapped room, I fully expected the handicapped amenities to be in place. This was not the case. The bench for the shower was not in place; it was leaning against the wall. I had to pick it up and put it in place in order for my friend to take a shower. When I addressed this problem to the manager the following day, she told me that the hotel's policy was to NOT put it in place in case a non-handicapped person used the room. This made absolutely not sense to me; if I had not been with my friend, she would have been unable to put the bench in place or take a shower! Would it not be easier for a non-handicapped person to remove the bench than for a handicapped person to install it? Aside from this issue, and the problems I had with my room keys (they had to be redone twice), everything else was good.

Far beyond what one might expect at a Best Western, this venue was entirely guest-focused. From the darling towel animals in the room to the thoughtful breakfast, Best Western Galleria Inn & Suites catered to guests. I was part of a volunteer group helping after the recent flood. The hotel was a lovely way to start and end our long days working on homes destroyed by flood waters. The staff was terrific. The leadership team was exemplary. To a person, we were impressed by the level of care and attention by the team in Houston. Special shout-out to Joseph Austin ... ok, everyone at the site. Kudos!

I had to stay an additional night due to the weather an road conditions. The only complaint I have is in room 202 one of the beds are in front of the bathroom so when my friend got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom the light was right in my face and woke me up. The staff is awesome! Kaylan, Shirley, Oliver, Jobanny and Joseph truly went above an beyond during my stay and I look forward to seeing them again next month.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Outside of long term suites or resort housing. Desk clerks and housekeeping staff are great. Gracious to meet your accommodation needs. Shirley is the hotel manager and wonderful at her job. Always a great breakfast each morning to start your day. I highly recommend that you make your reservation asap. Vacancies tend to go quick.

The breakfast was good and the cook Joseph Austin had great conversation about the bad weather And Kaylan was also great with helping me. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay at this location again.

We stayed here for a month. Clean hotel with soft beds. All of the staff were wonderful. Joseph Austin was the cook at breakfast making pancakes, omelettes, and burritos,. Always there with a great attitude and a smile! Isabel was the main person that cleaned our room and was very sweet, making sure we had everything we needed. Johnny, on maintenance, was very quick to respond to any concern. Sherril (I probably spelled that wrong) the manager was also very kind. I enjoyed chatting with all of them. They all made me feel as at home as they could during my stay.

Experience was really nice, Nice wait staff,Clean rooms. Definitely stay where again . Rooms are very nice as well! Did not get a chance to eat breakfast, but it looked very well Prepared. Of the rooms Felt very homie! Would recommend them to friends And family!

The breakfast here was so good. Joseph Austen was the cook who was so upbeat and friendly along with being a great cook! On demand he would make an Omelette or breakfast burrito with your choice of toppings. You could also get a ready made pancake. Great friendly environment. Also, the front desk lady with the glasses was so informative and helpful with a sweet personality. I really enjoyed being here. Was great.

Although not by choice, our 4 month stay at Best Western Galleria in Houston has been a very good experience. For me, being able to have a good hot breakfast prepared for the kids before school was so helpful and convenient. Joseph Austin, the breakfast cook, is professional while being super friendly. A nice way to start the morning for everyone. The manager, Shirley, has been more than helpful with any and everything we have needed. Very pleasant place to stay.

I stayed in this hotel for a couple of months until I was able to find a place to stay. The staff were all really kind and helpful. The pillows are the most comfy! Breakfast is pretty good.I look forward to the coffee and orange juice! There is also a big plus to have breakfast made to order by Mr. Joseph Austin! He is great to talk to and his eggs are pretty good!! All of the housekeeping staff were super sweet. Isabella, Lilli and Sarah were all especially nice to chat with. The front desk attendants were all very patient and kind as well. Between the front desk staff Latoyia was by far the most helpful and I cannot recall the young man and young lady that were very personable and helpful as well, both of which I believe have locs. Overall, I certainly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel and to make sure they do not miss out on a chance to experience breakfast with MR. JOSEPH AUSTIN!! THANK YOU ALL FOR A PLEASANT STAY!!!!!

The breakfast was the best I have ever experienced at a Best Western! Made to order eggs, omolets and pancakes! My husband had 2 eggs over easy and pancakes every morning! Rooms were nice, we enjoyed our stay. Everything was great with the hotel. The big problem was the last morning there, our car was broken into over night but that wasn't the hotels fault. The hotel next door had cars broke into as well! The staff was very nice,even let us borrow a shop vac to vacuum out the glass in our car

Joseph Austin is the perfect cook anyone can ask for. He does an fantastic job at serving everyone their breakfast. Hes a very good man and also a great employee. I make sure i get up for breakfast every morning just to come have breakfast because i know its going to be good!!!

Arrived late due to bad weather, check in was quick, room was nice, Uber to concert and back to hotel was easy. Didn't get a chance to eat breakfast due to the late night out, however in room coffee really helped in getting going for the day. Really liked that this hotel has a 12 noon checkout.

out of the way of the traffic and noise around the Galleria area yet only a few minutes away. All the amenities you need and a helpful staff to assist you if needed. Joseph Austin is the chef who cooks your "to order" breakfast in the morning. Freshly made pancakes and eggs any style starts you off on the right foot. Good value and great location.

Second time staying at this hotel. It is very clean and I liked it. You feel that cleanliness is important to the management. Room was well furnished: fridge, tv, sofa-bed, microwave, study desk, comfy bed. Complimentary breakfast. Really liked their decaf coffee (must be coffee from Ivory coast).There is a cook at the breakfast making hot specialties on demand (must be tacos or tortillas, not sure). The hotel is very quiet with ample parking in the back. The area is Ok and you have access to major highways within 5 minutes drive.

If you want to stay in the Galleria with out getting robbed by major hotels with their resort and parking fees then stay here. Clean, great service good value! Best Western always treats me like a rockstar and their rewards program is the best by far.

I loved the breakfast. Joseph Austin has a very welcoming vibe and a friendly personality. The breakfast was always hot and fresh as well. I would definitely visit again. The warm friendly atmosphere at the hotel was always nice and made me feel at home.

I rate this hotel a "10" in everything. Great room. Great shower. Great breakfast with a real live chef. Plenty of parking. Close to many restaurants only 5 minutes away. Downtown area only 20 to 30 minutes away, with no freeways!

This is a very affordable place, and has everything you need for a good night sleep, free internet, and FREE BREAKFAST WITH OMELETS!! That was the best amenity of all, I forget the cool guy making all the food in the morning, but he was super kind and was happy to make omelets for everyone, I left very happy that morning! I love omelets!!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast chef; he was very busy but completed our requests in a timely manner. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will continue to use Best Western in our future trips.

The location was good for my need. Very basic decor, no internet at all... Breakfast was far below the other Best Westerns that we have stayed at. Out of food and really messy... Was a good deal but better off paying a few bucks more nad getting a better place.

A friend and I stayed here while attending a women's conference 2.4 miles away. Our room was spacious, as was the bathroom — plenty of room for 2 women to spread out our toiletries. The breakfast was awesome ... made-to-order omelettes and pancakes ... add-ins available for both oatmeal and yogurt. Reasonably priced ... conveniently located ... well fed. Would definitely stay here again!

Staying here because I lost my home, car and most everything to Hurricane Harvey. The staff is amazing and kind! Room is comfortable and spacious. No complaints except for there is a damp smell in the room and the pillows are small and not very comfortable. The highlight of my stay has been the breakfast attendant Melinda. She greets everyone with a smile and warm welcome, which is a joy during these trying times! Keep up the great work Best Western!

This hotel was perfect for what we needed. No frills. Low Cost. Close to downtown. Close to restaurants. Nice pool. The 2 things that were not as expected were: 1- The Breakfast - They do not advertise it but they have a hot station at the continental breakfast with; eggs; omelets; pancakes; and breakfast burritos all customized made to order. And to top it off it was made by Melinda who was so friendly and makes INCREDIBLE food. 2- The Beds - The beds were very hard and the pillows were throw pillows. I like a firm mattress, but these mattresses were not firm they were hard and the pilloes were very difficlut to get comfortable with because they were the size of throw pillows.

Clean, cool (Needed in Houston) place to stay. Easy to get into and out of. Well-lit parking lot, so no need to worry about autos. BW has great breakfasts, free Houston newspaper at this location. Centrally located with easy access to the Museum District

I looooove this location. The staffs are really nice, kind, and respectful. I love the General Manager Shirley Phan, she's a super woman for assisting me on my stay and taking care of phone calls and other guests in the hotel. She did it alone and was short staff, but how she composed herself, remained professional and still accommodated those in need.... She's super awesome for her multitasking functions and communication. Also, I love Mrs. Melinda, she so sweet, humble, professional and a loving person. It's obvious she enjoys taking care of people, she's a great cook, she check on you and make sure you are well. Her services and hospitality is impeccable. I enjoy the breakfast way more. ,when Mrs Melinda is here. I love this hotel. Thank you best western for making me feel safe, secure and super. I'm very thankful.

We had to stay in this hotel two nights due to Hurricane Harvey and everybody was very helpful and considerate in these difficult circumstances, specially Melinda and her wonderful cooking and service. Thank you very much!!

Made to order breakfast was awesome!! We checked in the Thurs before Hurricane Harvey hit. The female manager on duty that afternoon was SO nice, friendly & very informative as to what the hotel plans were in preparation of flooding & power outages. We had to go ahead & check out the next day unfortunately early due to fear of how bad conditions would get within next 24 hrs. Manager, Shirley was at front desk & also very nice, friendly & understanding of our need to cancel rest of our reservation. She informed us she would not hesitate to refund our money considering the circumstances when the booking website contacts her. Also want to mention great lady that does the made to order breakfasts. Great cook, made our morning!

Bugs in room. Returned to room at 4 pm to find towels had been removed but room had not been cleaned. Had to go to desk for towels. Had to empty my own trash and front desk simply handed me new bags when I carried the trash to the front me trash bags

We thought we could wak to the Galleria but we couldn't. Otherwise, a nice pool and good breakfast but didn't love location. We walked to a nice restaurant nearby but not close to shopping as we had hoped.

Hotel is comforting, clean, organized and well staffed. Wonderful stay, great quality and great value, excellent prices. I had a reservation for three nights which went completely right. Everything was as I had wish and planned.

My husband and I stayed here on the nights of August 4th and 5th of 2017. On the night of the 5th, 17 cars had their windows bashed in including ours. Luckily, we do not keep valuables in our car. However, we are out $750 in insurance deductibles. We slept in that morning and we were not notified that it happened by the staff. They could've called all of the guests to tell them of the incident, but they did not. I did not see a security guard on duty.

We stayed here for a concert in Downtown Houston, and our vehicles were broken into, along with 15 other cars and trucks. This place is a nice hotel too, but Richmond is scary at night. Steer clear of this place and stay in some other part of town.

Stayed here on a Thursday night. I had to run errands at a couple of consulates on Friday morning so my wife and I decided to make it a micro-vacation. Clean, modern rooms. Breakfast was pretty standard fare although we did not explore the made-to-order options. Chose this hotel because of the location (near consulates) and price (~$120 after taxes). The location is not in the best part of town, with several strip clubs nearby and a La Bare literally across the street. Still, it was quiet in our second-floor room even though we were facing the main road. It may be noisier on a Friday or Saturday with all the clubs. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is the weird, square half-pillows on the bed. There were four of them, but my wife needs at least three normal-size pillows to get really comfortable and I usually use two or fold a normal one in half. Since we arrived late at night (around 11) and were only staying one night we didn't call for more pillows or anything and we made it work. It still seems like an odd choice in a hotel that hitting above its weight class in pretty much every other respect.

This hotel was great! Anytime we needed towels they were available. When our room keys didn't work they were able to fix them. The room was spacious for the three of us as well. Everything was great Especially the breakfast. Melinda that served breakfast was really nice and made us feel at home. Her cooking was great!!! Can't wait to come back for those omelets! Thank You

For breakfast we were greeted by Melinda who not only was our cook but also took care of all the cleaning and kept in touch with all patrons making sure everything was good and they were not missing anything. Melinda makes a real good omelette and pancakes, she was definitely the highlight of our stay there this week.

I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was super good. Melinda was very nice. Making ur omelets with smiles. The breakfast is not meals, bacon, sausage, pancakes, yogurt and many more. Love it. Me and my family enjoyed our 8 days stay there. Hotel staff are very nice. Have fruits everywhere for people to eat.

The Team at the Best Western Fountainview is always so helpful and so great to see when I am there. The cleanliness and size of the property, is so convenient and I really enjoy staying there. Would highly recommend anyone stay there if they need to be in Houston either on Business or Pleasure

The area is not great. The hotel was clean and the staff was ok. It's fine for a one night stop. The street nearby is a little noisy but not too bad. If you need a one night stop it will do and the price was very reasonable. I would come back if I needed a quick stay in Houston.

The location was excellent. Our rooms was spectacular, clean with a touch of class. I went to bed and woke up forgetting where I was. The staff was friendly and attentive. Especially our breakfast lady, Ms. Melinda, she was sweet and made us feel at home.

This is our second time to stay here. For us the hotel is close to doctor's office, restaurants and Hobby Center. Staff always friendly. Really enjoy the hotel's homemade omlets and pancakes. Pillows were a little too firm for us but we did not ask for replacements. Room very clean.

This hotel was wonderful from check in to check out. Staff were pleasant and helpful in every way. I loved that someone was available during complimentary breakfast time to cook an omelette or make fresh pancakes for us. Décor was warm and inviting. Rooms were great. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel special! Location was near Galleria but out of all the major downtown traffic so it was easy to get to places we wanted to see. Loved it and will definitely be back.

So this hotel location was in the prime location for my business meetings. Being alone and having different choices of restaurants for dinner was another plus. Loved staying at the place and will be coming back

This is a comfortable place for a night or two. Pets are allowed, which is a bit annoying, since they do not offer smoking room accommodations. Service was fine, breakfast was excellent, facility was clean throughout.. Pillows were entirely too hard to use.

Great job everyone was so helpful..from the time we got there until we left..very nice a clean rooms...great selection on the breakfast part..it was nice that they had a business center free of use along with printing..

A. Breakfast at 6:30, fine if you're a resort, this place isn't. Working people almost always have to start somewhere by 7am, so the Breakfast option for ME was a waste that I ALWAYS, ALWAYS use at other properties. B. Elevator stopped working, I'm on the 3rd floor. C. Internet Stopped working D. The whole hotel smells funky, musty, moldy, something. E. Best Westerns STILL don't seem to understand that traveling people NEED TO PLUG IN THEIR VARIOUS devices!!!!!!! NO extra plugs, I have stuff plugged in behind the bed, in the bathroom, at the desk, next to the TV, everywhere BUT where everyone else provides outlets.

The hotel was so comfortable so clean beautiful the staff was very nice the lady at the breakfast Melinda was excellent she was super sweet she helped out my wife and kids she catered to her every need this is the best trip we've ever had

Great price, cleanliness and wonderful staff. I have stayed at many upscale facilities for 4 times the rate and the staff at Best Western outperformed themselves. I am planning on 3 more stays within the next 6 months.

Check-in was smooth & easy. Front desk staff were all friendly and very helpful. Lobby is beautiful and the room was clean. Pool area was very clean and the water was clean and clear. There was a good variety of food and drinks for breakfast. Including an omelet and pancake station.

I was traveling with a large group of 34 people and we needed 9 rooms. I called a couple of weeks in advance and Ashley transferred me to Heather, who did an amazing job of accommodating our group. She offered suggestions for places to eat near the hotel and had all our keys made up and ready for us when we arrived. The hotel was very clean and in great shape - especially for what appeared to be an older, smaller property. The rooms were first rate, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the breakfast was out of this world!!! I've stated at a lot of hotels, and a lot of Best Westerns - this is my best stay so far, especially with a group! I will definitely be staying here again!

Breakfast was incredible. It was very quite here even though it is located in the middle of a lot of restaurants and bars. Great party area! Located in the middle of all the finest attractions that Houston has. I loved it!!!

The visit and stay was very good. The hotel staff was very professional and just down right nice. Everything was clean and the breakfast.....a perfect 10......The cook even made our eggs and pancakes...I've never had that at the BW i've stayed in.....usually had to make them ourselves. Sweetie Pies is in down the street for those who want Soul Food. If I'm ever back in Houston, I'd stay here again for sure. One thing though, no shuttle service to the airport, which I think every hotel should have or maybe a Uber/Lyft contract.

everything was good over all. We found it easy on Richmond Ave in Houston which was walking distance o local amenities. perhaps they can increase the security for guests feel safe to park their vehicles in the back as now Just say: " we are not responsible for damages and break-ins" and this could scare guest away which they want a secure place to rest and stay.

We will definitely consider returning to the B W Galleria when the need arises. Extremely professional and personable staff. Hallways were well appointed and quiet. Because we discovered that you recognize disabled veterans' id card for the government rate, we appreciate the way you handle business even more than before.

The Best Western Galleria Inn & Suites is a good hotel base, near the Galleria, to explore Houston. We stayed mid-May 2017, and the price quality ratio is great. Breakfast was good, with burritos, eggs and omelettes made to order, plus pastries, yoghurts, fruit, juices, coffee, etc, all complimentary. It was a good and relaxing way to start the day. The room was very clean, big, and comfortable, only the AC was a little noisy. The are where the hotel is located is very practical for exploring Houston, and it's so close to the Galleria, that you can shop, go back to rest, and then go back and shop some more. Free parking, and good overall. I would stay there again when visiting Houston again.

Can not sleep until the others customers would get to sleep. The main target of having a room in an hotel is to sleep, we did not get it! The hotel is located in a weird neighborhood. The breakfast was in the average but very light with fruits.

We just had a quick overnight stay, but it's conveniently located to the Galleria. Hotel is nice, room is nicely appointed with comfortable beds. The breakfast is really good, and has a custom order omelet/egg/pancake station, along with the normal continental breakfast fare. Would stay here again for sure!

The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. The place feels clean and is quiet. The location is great for shopping and all the best restaurants are close by. If you are there for medical then it also a very convenient place to stay.

This hotel is good if you are looking to save some money on your hotel. It is a good place to stay just to get a good nights sleep. Hotel staff needs to be more learned about some of the ameneties that the hotel provides, such as how to use the wifi. All in all it was a pleasent experiance.

My boyfriend and I travel a lot and we set off to Houston to attend Lakewood Church. This property was an excellent choice. We had a wonderful experience at this BW Galleria. The location was perfect for our fun romantic weekend plans. There was plenty of shopping, dining choices and sightseeing opportunities not far from the hotel. The room was extremely large with a refrigerator and microwave. Plus, the complimentary breakfast each morning was our favorite surprise of the select/limited service property. I have never seen a Made-to-Order omelet station with a complimentary breakfast in a non full-service hotel. The cook on the weekends made them the best!

I liked the expirience at the Best Western, it was my first time there and it was very good. If I come back to Houston Texas I would like to stay in Best Western again. Thank you for the service!! I hope to come back soon!!

My friend and I stayed at this motel for a 1 night stay. I was convenient to the Galleria area and near highway 69. Our room was ready when we checked in but unfortunately there was a musty smell in the room and we figured out that it was coming out of the AC unit. Other than that issue, the room was clean. Another couple of issues that we had is that the pool didn't look too clean and we were not notified when Breakfast would end. By the time I called down to the front desk, it was over by 30 mins. So if you need a basic, comfy place to stay, then this motel is fine for you.

There was a small elephant crafted of hand towels that greeted us when we checked into our room. It was a very nice touch to welcome us to this hotel. Check in was fast and the front desk clerk thanked us for being loyal Best Western customers. Our room was clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast had a good mix of food items and was well stocked. There was also a cook station that made omelets or pancakes to order. The only detractor was the air conditioner fan that was loud and did not cycle off after the room had cooled. Overall, we had a satisfying stay and want to say thank you for the nice welcome.

We have stayed here for years when we visit family in Houston. We considered it to be the best value in the area. Now with the remodel and the addition of "breakfast to order," it's even better. Plus, everyone was friendly and helpful.

This is not the BW Plus caliper that I expected. I would not stay here again. We had to change rooms due to mold smell, then had gun fire at the hotel next door last night! The room rates were very reasonable, pet friendly with a good breakfast and happy hour on Monday night. Staff was wonderful.

This hotel just put in a breakfast bar with omelettes as well as pancakes in addition to burritos. This is in addition to the regular items available for breakfast. The size of the room and the quality were high.

This motel was a good value. It is 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Houston, but the rate was well worth the short drive, and free parking. The staff was great, very friendly and professional. This was our second stay at this motel.

This Best Western has a friendly staff, comfortable beds, exercise room, swimming pool, and a good breakfast. They served buffet style eggs, sausage, and bacon. Yes, they have fruit, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, etc. I enjoyed their made to order omeletes everyday. They also have made to order pancakes, burritos, and eggs.

Very convenient location, near Galleria, yet not at Galleria prices. Also, a large selection of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Not my first visit to Houston, but my first to this property, and I shall certainly return!!

There was nothing wrong with the room. Pool area was nice. Surprised to see hot custom eggs, waffles and tacos made. Room was clean, modern, Direct TV, outlets for phone charges! Area was OK. nice water fountain and siting outside but had no time to relax :(

We stayed at this property for the weekend as we journeyed to Houston for shopping, a ball game, and a comic convention. Conveniently located near the Galleria, there are tons of options for shopping and eating near by, and close access to the freeways for getting downtown easily. The staff are EXTREMELY helpful and provided great service throughout our stay. The rooms are decent sized and were very clean. The breakfast, while free, offered quite a bit, including a burrito/omelette/pancake station where they prepared your selection to your liking. Great price, excellent service, and free breakfast? I'll be staying here again.

Location is great for shopping, restaurants, downtown, etc.. Pleased and surprised with the free made-to-order breakfast station. That was a first for us. It was in addition to their usual excellent free breakfast spread (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.) Very friendly and accommodating staff.

I was here on business. I am an owner of a Best Western in another area of the country so I have it that I can be picky. This property is well kept, very clean and the staff was very intentional in giving attention. Thank you for representing the brand well...keep up the good work!!!

Talking about going the extra mile.... The Staff at this hotel make you feel right at home, we've stayed in many hotels and not one of them made us feel as important as this Best Western. This is our new "GO TO" hotel in the Houston Area. if your travels take you to Houston, then you should make a reservation, newly remodeled, with the proper staff in place. they really do everything in their power to make your stay comfortable.

rooms amazing/breakfast was above and beyond , made to order pancakes with endless fruits and toppings/delicious fruit infused water and dominic at the front desk provided me with the best customer service ive had in years. he was mature and helpful beyond his years. im here looking for a home to buy and was going to the hotel next door i accidentally passed it and fate had me turn in here. it was the best mistake i made all year. hotel was exceptionally clean and had lots of parking for my truck and motorcycle.

The hotel was clean and in great shape. I loved walking into a hotel after a 3 hour drive to see a smile on the front desk person's face. The best part for me was the breakfast, it was fresh and had a big variety of food to choose from. Next time I'm in Houston I'll probably stay again.

The hotel was in a like new condition. The rate was below other hotels in the Galleria area. I had stayed in another more expensive hotel the week before. The BW Fountainview Inn rate was 55% of the other hotel rate and BW included a breakfast.

Hotel was very nice and clean, room was spacious. Front desk agent was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Everyone I came in contact with at this hotel was very helpful and pleasant. Location is great, close to many shops and restaurants. Many restaurants that offer delivery to this hotel, would definitely stay here again in the future.

The stay was wonderful. I would definitely stay again and the location was awesome as well. I was very close to the galleria and shopping areas. The hotel was very quiet even though every other hotel was busy Best Western had plenty of parking and my room was ready when I got there.

My stay was short and all staff I came into contact with were very friendly. I loved that they had a cute little “origami” elephant made out of towels sitting on the bed to welcome me! The breakfast food seemed good, I only had apple juice, a muffin, and coffee. The coffee was okay, though not great, and this is of course based on my personal taste. The tub was leaking and I did report this during check-out, it was not necessarily a problem during my short stay; it the desk clerk made a note to have it repaired. I really liked the tub/shower, it was large, though the shower height was a bit of a challenge for my 6'4” son. The only “problem” I experienced was with the TV remote because I like to go to sleep with the TV on, but do not want it on all night, and I was unable to sleep-set the TV. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are stating in the area. ?

I stayed here for about 4 days and I can truthfully say it was one of my top 5 hotel experiences! The staff was friendly and helpful and always got things done in a timely manner. The breakfast was great, the pool was clean, just an all around good experience!

Very well managed property! Recommend highly. Lots of small touches throughout our stay delighted this customer. Better than expected breakfast - actual eggs, ham, bacon! UUUMMMM. The bananas were ripe and edible. The property had been recently renovated, very clean.

Always try to find a Best Western when I travel and this one was perfect and easy access to the Galleria, I had to keep extending my stay and they were always eager to add another night and since I had to extend my stay longer than I planned they had laundry soap and machines on site so I didn't have to find a laundrymat in town. If you are in town and need to be at the Galleria location is perfect and you don't have to deal with that horrible Houston traffic. Property is nice and quiet. I highly recommend Sam's Boat for dinner that is nearby awesome seafood at a much cheaper price than Papadeaux's we ate at the night before.

Good location with secure self-parking and clean comfortable rooms. Clean and well-appointed outdoor swimming pool. Adequate breakfast in a clean breakfast area. Helpful and polite staff. We always stay here when in the Galleria area.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband on a Friday night as it was close to the Galleria and was within short walking distance of several bars and restaurants. The hotel seemed very nice, the staff on the desk were friendly and welcoming and in general the hotel seemed clean however we did find a used condom in the corner of our room. We reported this to the staff on the reception desk and they offered to move us to another room. We followed up our complaint with Best Western customer services and spoke with Kaitlyn who kindly offered us points towards a future stay with Best Western.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Nothing exception but the breakfast. I was surprised at the varied selections of available food item including fresh fruit. All in all a perfectly adequate, nice hotel for a business trip.

This was my first time at this property, was greeted by Shirley upon check-in (she's wonderful) such a delightful and speedy check-in. I arrived a little early and she got me checked in fast. Clean rooms, my floor was a little creaky near the front door, but none the less I enjoyed my stay. Even had a nice view.Was in town for a family matter, but after a rest here none of I really mattered anymore. Next time we are in Houston we will stay at this location again. Close to a lot of stuff, but far enough away from everything too. Small breakfast with a fast working waffle maker (no biscuits & gravy) eggs, links, pastries, cereal. standard hotel breakfast fare. They delivered good service with a smile at this property.

I would leave your luggage in the car, as the bed bugs are a biting. For the $, it's a rip.Especially, when considering the infestation.Crew of my guys all got it bad as well as our luggage. No refunds they wouldn't even let us use the industrial washer to try to clean our clothes.

Very nice Hotel, If it had been closer to the Reliant Center, would have been great. Really great room and very comfortable beds. A little high on price, but overall nice hotel. A lot of traffic getting to hotel. Nice lobby area and elevators were very accessible and fast.

We've stayed at a lot of Best Westerns since our retirement. This has to be one of the worst ones we've stayed at. The sound from the room above was like they were in the room with you. You can hear every step they take and it sounds like they're on a drum. The paper products, TP and kleenx has to the the cheapest stuff on the market. Motel 6 has better. I'd rather wipe with newspaper. The staff was nice, friendly and helpful. Most of the breakfast was OK, excpet for the processed eggs. It's location is very near my son's new place, but next time I'll be looking for somewhere else.

Great service...Great location....Great Rooms!! We were coming to the area for special church service on Sunday. We decided to come in a couple days early with the family. We were able to find a theater, great breakfast, lunch & dinner restaurants nearby. I would definitely be back, if I ever had to return to this area.

I am a VERY loyal Best Western customer and this is my first negative experience. I usually wouldn't write this but I addressed it with the attendant on duty & she acted as if she didn't care. Ok, when we got there there wasn't a blanket on my bed so I asked for one and then they never brought it. The next morning I tried to make a waffle at breakfast but one of the maids was making hers as well as the other staff's so I waited for over 15 minutes & I said , can I just make one & then up I can have it again and she said no I am almost finished. So I went to tell the front desk attendant and as she was eating her waffle she said , oh she's almost finished. So I politely left the hotel. It is what it is, I probably am better off anyway by not eating that waffle.

The room was clean and well-maintained. The biggest issue for my wife & I is the bed. While we prefer a VERY firm bed. The bedding was firm enough to offer a good night's sleep. The staff was warm, friendly and met every one of our requests during our week's stay. We will be back.

I loved everything about this hotel from the time I walked until the time I left. Very friendly employees, I had the jaccui room & the room was decorated with beautiful ducks made out of towels & the BEST part is that there checkout time is 12pm when other surrounding hotels is 11am. Didnt have to rush at all to leave. The hotel was very nice and clean & I will be back anytime I want to get away.

I keep coming back to this great hotel. The front desk people were fantastic. The breakfast buffet was always furnished. The omelets were very tasty. The room was perfect. Everything was neat and clean.

We have been staying here for years when we visit our son and his wife in Houston. It's always very clean and quiet, there's always plenty of parking, and it's a very convenient location for our purposes. We aren't looking to be pampered--we just want a clean, quiet, reasonably-priced place with a free breakfast. It meets our needs. I have stayed in hotels with much higher ratings but I prefer a place with a refrigerator, microwave, iron, etc.

Best hotel with a lower rate price in Houston area good people and very clean room included Breakfast goes until 10:00 which helps a lot since I am a bed person. The hotel is very well located , approximately 9 miles from Houston downtown, business center. Overall I would recommend his hotel for anybody who seek for a high comfort at lower price.

The hotel is nice and located in a good location. Close to Galeria and plenty restaurant nearby. There is good Thai resto accress the street. Walmart and best buy also nearby. The hotel staffs are really nice and helpful.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms are very clean. The internet was great. Breakfast was hot and delicious. There was always fresh fruit available during the day. The lobby was very clean. the parking was great. My overall experience was Excellent.

This hotel was clean but basic and the staff were pleasant and accomodating however, it is located in a strip clubs area. We arrived at 1am due to flight complications and had to be escorted to and from vehicle...probably better if you arrived in daylight and did not wonder what had been done on your bed in the past.

I booked this hotel just for one night on the way to Austin and ended up staying 2 nights due to severe weather and flooding. They were nice to accommodate me for the extra night and also gave late checkout if needed. The breakfast was good. Only complaint was a smell of smoke once in a while, perhaps coming in through door as our room was close to rear entrance.

I have to travel to Houston every month to see my doctors. Would you consider a Medical rate (I also have AARP and AAA). Most of the time I only have to spend 1 night but other times I have to spend two or more nights. Another motel on 59 closer to some of my doctors has arranged for me to pay $57.00 for one night one room one bed mon smoking. $67.00 for one room two beds non smoking. they also have breakfast. ALL OF MY TRIPS ARE MEDICAL, Not business or pleasure.

Traveling to Houston for medical appointments is something we have to do every 6 months. I have finally found a hotel that is close by, affordable, very clean and meets my expectations for a hotel for this purpose. Will definitely stay again.

The Best Western in Houston on Richmond Ave, was a very nice property and location to my business conference. The facility was comfortable, quiet and well staffed. The exterior and grounds are nicely maintained, safe, and well lighted. Thank you for such a great property and location as well as operation.

Nice hotel in Houston located 15 min drive from Galleria and 5-10 min drive from shopping area. Pros: very good hot breakfast, free parking, the suite was "roomy", bus station just at the hotel. Cons: noisy air conditioner.

This is a good hotel to stay during the week. They are going through a remodel, but you really cannot tell. They must be nearing the end of the process. The staff was very friendly and the interior of the hotel looks really new. I was on a 3 day business trip to Houston, and enjoyed relaxing in the rooms' Jacuzzi after a long day in the office. The breakfast room was massive with a very modern face lift compared to other Best Westerns.

A decent and comfortable Hotel located at the quiet end of Richmond completely away from the noise of the city with very close proximity to the Galleria and other Recreation and Restaurants. We enjoyed our stay The television channels are many but can't get to my favourite TV channel because they were not part of the subscribed channels by the company. I mean Famous football Chanel that show European football and British Premier league

We attended a reception in Houston and stayed only 1 night. The Best Western Fountainview Inn was in a good location and it was easy to go home the next day. The hotel is very nice and the staff was friendly. The price per night was very good.The TV was on a blink, but we were not long in our room. I reported it the next day and the staff said, they will take care of it.

Hotel was at a decent location and staff were very friendly and helpful. Although, we had reserved a non-smoking room the room definitely smelled like smoke and housekeepers admitted that it was a smoking room although the lady at the front desk insisted all rooms were non-smoking. Overall experience was good.

I would stay there for the price and location. Paper thin walls, though. I think it is a good option for longer than a couple of days stays given the laudry room, mini fridge and microwave availability and convenient location.
