« Great hotel for visiting Twickenham & RIchmond »

We have visited this hotel, once whilst going to Twickenham for a match and recently visiting the Kew Gardens Xmas spectacular. The room are modern and spacious, tastefully decorated, lovely bathrooms. There is a bar and restaurant, we had breakfast this time very good value. Excellent location for the areas mentioned. Tubes stations nearby so you can get into central London easily. Small car park so if you are lucky and its not too busy you should get a space, extra charge of £10 per night. Definitely will be staying again.

Excellent hotel, clean and very friendly staff. Evening meal brilliant with good variety and very tasty. breakfast exceptional value. Don't get hotel to book taxi £30 for 1.5 mile journey. As a family difficult with 4 children to be split on separate floors when asked for adjoining rooms.

« Decent could be better »

Have stayed here a few times, room is decent for the money paid however some rooms have had odours in them, staff could be a lot politer Would go again but few things need to work on to improve the overall experience. Location wise is very convienient always able to get around but the in house menu was very steep.. All in all not bad

« Great Visit at the Park Grand »

Thanks to the Park team for a very pleasurable visit while in London on Business. Mendai and colleagues were very polite , attentive and helpful to our queries and needs during the visit. The area and walk to the local market was peaceful and enjoyable.

    « Very good »

Hotel was very nice and very clean, beds were very comfortable and shower was the best. Breakfast was very bland and this is why I only gave 4 stars. But very good overall and staff were very attentive and polite.

    « Comfortable and functional »

Ideally situated for Heathrow this is a comfortable place for a business over night stay for either flying or commuting into the capital. bar area is small with obvious London prices but the Buffett evening meal is both tasty and good value for money. Arrive early though as limited parking. I have stayed twice now and both times have been extremely reasonable, quiet and welcoming. Use this place for its functionality and location .

    « Very Pleasant Stay »

Stayed here one night in a club room with my girlfriend. The room was spacious and clean, with all amenities there, and the king size bed was very confortable. The reception staff were excellent. We received a warm welcome from Mr. Gagan, which gave us all the information we needed and did the extra mile to make pleasant our short stay. Will definitely come back!

    « Fantastico »

What a wonderful place to stay. After a long day traveling in and around London on a business trip I eventually made my way to the hotel. First impressions, great , staff were friendly , hotel nice, clean and very impressive. Night manager Steve was so welcoming. Made my way to the room , "wow" can't fault anything , everything was brand new .. big soft bed .. TV ... absolutely lovely . I decided to visit the bar , I deserved a good hard earned drink ! I enjoyed spending my lonely evening with the Barman "George" .. what a lovely human being he is , husband and a new father to a lovely baby boy , his hospitality was impeccable. After that I had such a good nights sleep . It was all straight forward, No hassle what so ever . My biggest regret was I didn't try the food because I had to hurry out early , but the food liked great . I would definitely recommend this hotel . Thank you Park Grand !

« Modern and value for money »

Great value for money. Brilliant room service and great for plane spotting (Heathrow) half hour on the tube to London. Car parking could be improved but all in all a brilliant place to stay just out of London.

« Great hotel, great staff »

Our stay in the Park Grand is sadly coming to an end. The room was luxurious and very comfortable. We had a Double Deluxe with 2 beds on the third floor and got a good night's sleep every single night. The reception staff were very efficient, polite and always more than willing to help. The hotel is well located within 15 minutes of Heathrow Airport with easy access to Hounslow Central and Osterley Underground Station facilitating direct travel into London on the Piccadilly Line and all terminals of Heathrow Airport. The nearby bus stops on Lampton Road 111, 120 serve Hounslow, Heathrow, Hampton, Kingston, Northolt to name a few areas. The H91 on the Great West Road runs between Hounslow West and the Chiswick area. No free shuttle service to the Airport ,however a taxi was booked for us. The hotel was very good value in relation to quality and price. We shall be coming back again.

« Heathrow Park Grand hotel »

I recently stayed at the Park Grand on business. Pleasantly surprised at the quality vs cost of the hotel. Service was very good and the evening buffet in the restaurant was excellent. Worth going back just for the buffet.

« Great hotel poor location »

The room was really nice and was nice to stay in. The only thing that I didn't like was the noise from the airport and traffic outside as this did keep me awake even up on the 4th floor. Other then that my stay was excellent and the staff were really helpful.

    2
    « Very Mixed Feelings »

The parking is awful, lots of big vans and trailers. Impossible to get a spot and even if you do, you will likely get blocked in or dented doors. The restaurant is a buffet and looked dodgy. Reception seems to be run by the Stasi - plainly they get runners who don't pay. The room was great, comfortable, modern, clean. Maid service impeccable. (Fridge was noisy so I switched it off). Overall a no.

« Service at its best »

The manager showed exceptional customer service - I was a new guest, arriving late, leaving early, one night only. He waited past his shift to ensure my experience was as good as it could be following a mix up with the booking company. The room was lovely. Very clean (immaculate in fact), and large, the bed was very comfortable (a super-king), with a large and modern bathroom. Crisp clean linen and towels. Complimentary teas/ coffee/ biscuits and mineral water on offer with fully loaded mini bar also available. The room was well sound proofed and all mod cons were on offer. What started as a stressful booking through booking.com turned out to be second to none thanks to the hotel manager, the staff and the hotel itself. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable stay in a quality hotel establishment with friendly, dedicated staff. Thank you Park Grand!

    « Best Western plus »

Really lovely hotel, in the taxi I was worried as not the best area, but very handy for Heathrow once we arrived at the hotel we were very pleasantly surprised, our room was lovely had a heated bathroom floor. The staff were great , we ate in the restaurant my husbands meal was awesome I didn't like mine but more about the choice I made, the staff couldn't have been nicer, bent over backwards for me didn't charge us for most of the meal, and the chef apologized personally even though I felt I had just made the wrong choice. Breakfast was wonderful.

    « Fantastic Customer Service »

I have stayed in this hotel on two occasions, soon to be a third. My first stay with this hotel was fantastic, the triple room was a lovely large size with a huge bathroom and the decor was modern and luxurious. We found the beds very comfy and really liked the glam feel of the hotel. The staff were really helpful and checking in and out was easy and quick. On our second stay we had a few issues, some slight things from our booking were missing and we were given the wrong room. On a very tight deadline, we spoke to the hotel staff who very quickly got us to another room and tried their best to organise things for us. The breakfast the next day was nice and plentiful and the staff serving were friendly. Overall cleanliness is excellent. As we had a few issues regarding the air con, our wrong room and the few missing items we spoke to a gentleman named Mandar who has gone above and beyond to rectify this for us and has been nothing less than helpful for us. This has completely restored our faith and we will be staying again this weekend. This hotel is perfect for a nice stay before flights, to take clients to or to just relax. I couldn't recommend it more and I thank Mandar and all the team for their continued and tireless help. Overall this is our favourite, first choice stay when in the area and we really love this hotel. It's glam, it's modern, it has everything you need and has that friendly touch from staff. A1 customer service!!

« Great home away from home »

The courteousness of the staff was unparalleled. I was made to feel at home. I will certainly recommend it to others, as a great place to stay when working in London. The service I experienced was really great and prompt, round the clock and courteous The room is well appointed, comfortable and has everything I need after a busy workday, or even to unwind at the weekend. The hotel is very conveniently located, at an important junction of Great West Road, with public transport available just outside the hotel. The rooms are sound proof, protecting me from the traffic sounds at all times. All the amenities function perfectly, the toiletries are replaced promptly when over and the towels changed. What I liked best about the hotel is the courteousness of the staff, their friendly attitude and being made to feel at home, even though I'm very far from home.

All the staff has been very helpful and polite in making my stay very memorable. Mandar Dhage has been extremely helpful and made sure my stay was comfortable. I have enjoyed my stay thoroughly and am sure will come back soon.

    « Great reception! »

I always get a great reception when visiting this hotel, which I use frequently. Gagan and Gabriele greet me personally and now know exactly what I want and make sure I'm dealt with promptly and effectively. They always have a welcoming smile and make sure I feel valued as a customer. Well done guys!

Many thanks to Mandar Dhage the House Manager, for the amazing costumer service. I stayed in this hotel for more than two weeks and during my stay he was the person I could rely on, he was vary helpful and patient. If I had the smallest problem in the room he would immediately arrange to change my room to a better one. I would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it to the people who read the reviews. And a special thanks to Monica D'souza at the reception for her excellent costumer service, she was amazing.

    « Comfortable visit »

Stayed for approximately forty eight days..during the first two weeks..I stayed in the single bedroom which is small but very cozy...and for the remaining weeks I stayed in double bed room..my visit was very comfortable and each and every staff member was very warm and took care of everything..they were very helpful..I was also treated with a very yummy complimentary pastry from the hotel downstairs on my birthday..view from my room was amazing.. floor to ceiling glass right in front of my bed made my mornings superb..wifi worked at super fast speed...all in all it was a lovely stay..when I'll visit London again..I know I've a place to stay and will not think twice before booking this one..

    3
    « Pleasant stay »

The hotel is clean and the staff were helpful. A couple of the lights did not work in the room and there is quite a bit of light spill comes in under the door and through the peep hole. The bed was comfy and the room was small but acceptable, the air con made a bit of noise which did keep me awake (but I am a light sleeper) you cannot open any windows. The food was ok, not outstanding but nice enough and a good variety of bits to choose from. I didn't really notice the planes flying over, it was a short walk to the tube station. Good for an airport stay but quite far out of town for a visit to London. My only gripe which I have with many places that they do not offer Decaff tea only coffee.

    4
    « Surprisingly comfortable »

From the outside this hotel doesn't look too appealing but inside was lovely. Room looked recently refreshed, bed was comfortable and ensure had a lovely big shower head. Noise levels were surprisingly low considering its under the flight path. We got a taxi to Richmond which was extremely expensive via hotel reception (book it yourself with a local firm) and got the bus back along with a short walk after the rugby. Overall, good stay for the price.

    « Terrible experience »

I would advise anyone wishing to stay here, to stay elsewhere. The management, food and service is absolutely disgraceful. A housekeeping lady had opened our door, at a time that is well before the standard check out time, without knocking, disregarding the 'do not disturb' sign, to find my partner and I completely undressed. I can not explain how ashamed we felt and how distraught that something like this could take place at a Best Western hotel. Avoid at all costs.

« Good stay at a nice price. »

We needed a place to crash on a Saturday night in the area so decided to check this hotel. We were not very impressed by some reviews but decided to try. It turned out rather nice actually. The check in was quick and friendly; the room was very grand. The hotel decor is quite nice and the room was completely sound proof. A very nice bed; beautiful bathroom with complementary toiletries, nice strong shower. Check out is at noon which also helps. We did not have breakfast there so can not comment on food. The only one thing though, I would not advise to drive there as the parking seems to be a nightmare, apart from that the hotel is fine.

    « Great hotel »

Booked the hotel via Best Western reservations and asked for an upgraded. On checking in was upgraded to a club room. Room spotlessly clean. Modern furniture comfy bed ,air conditioning ,good Internet . Fridge and fruit. Powerful shower. Managed to park in car park which costs £10.00 a night. Staff very professional and polite. Would recommend this hotel and will be returning.

    « Won't be coming back.. »

Booked double room with business partner for one night.. Reception staff somewhat unfriendly for no apparent reason when we arrived. When we got to our room it had a double bed..we asked for 2 single beds.. After calling reception, staff came to the room and gave us a key to presumably what we originally booked...NO. Same again... same staff then proceeds to dismantle double bed unzip it down the middle and made two beds...The space didn't allow for it cramped and not what we paid for... All rooms are like this we are told. Too tired at 10:45 pm to further argue we settled.for thus. Bar closed at 11 couldn't get a drink... we were told @ reception to go to the of licence ( THIS IS A 4STAR HOTEL) Breakfast... not nice... stale croissants. .and the English breakfast? I think my dog would even turn it's nose up at it... The Coffee was also some of the worst I've tasted. On checking out we got asked if all.ok.. we said we did have trouble last night... but the receptionist didn't ask us why what where... nothing... For £130 one night... I think where I come from its called.daylight Robbery... Never ever again.....ever.

I have used this hotel many times. It is perfect for Heathrow or business in West London. You get everything you need in your room, great bathroom, an exceptionally comfortable bed and parking. What also makes the stay enjoyable are the courteous staff.

« "nothing else compares to you" »

Having stayed at this rather brilliant hotel for almost the past 9th months, it must be doing something right! The staff, right from Check in (special mention for Gagan - Duty Manager & his team) through the dining experience ,breakfast and check out, cannot do enough for you. Everyone is helpful and goes the "extra mile" to accommodate you as best they can. I have stayed at other hotels in the area, but have always regretted not booking here. It also serves as a bench mark when I am staying elsewhere in the country, but I have yet to find one that matches when you use £'s as a compassion. The rooms are comfortable and clean and well laid out. The only complaint (if you can call it that) is a lack of an iron in the room, but a quick call to reception and that's sorted. Good air con, nice under floor heating in the bathrooms, and when the weather is playing, fantastic sunrises over London!! Well done guys & girls, keep up the good work

« I would now only stay here when visiting this area. »

All of the staff were very friendly and ready to assist. The breakfast was really good quality, thumbs up for the sausages! Room was comfortable and the standard of cleanliness was extremely high. The service at the bar was a little tardy but this was not the end of the world. The best thing in my opinion and a deal breaker in regard for me going back to this property was the complimentary VOIP phone. With this, the hotel has shown a fantastic grasp on technology for the benefit of the guest who now no longer needs to purchase a SIM card when I visit the UK. They should make more noise about this as it is a fantastic perk for the traveller who resides elsewhere. Thanks for a wonderful stay, see you again soon!

    « Home for a year »

I have been staying here for over a year on business and it is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The rooms are always clean and comfy. The bathrooms are clean and modern and even include heated flooring. The staff have been kind and helpful throughout.

    4
« Worth it just for the parking alone »

factor that swung it for me after chosing from loads of similar hotels around the heathrow area - free onstreet parking nearby! hotels never have enough spaces and certainly not free in london. hotel itself is fine, good standard, rooms clean - even had a fridge. close to airport but couldn't even hear the planes overhead. no complaints - would go again.

    5
    « Top heathrow hotel »

Girlfriend booked this hotel as last minute option during our layover flight and was not disappointed. Pleasantly surprised with the modern surroundings and furnishing. Kind and attentive staff who made us feel welcome. Gagan (hope i spelt it correctly) was most helpful in particular and even offered us free parking. Will be returning!!

« Felt at being at home away from home »

I checked in at 6AM on 16th September 2016. At the time of check in Mr. Gagan was very friendly and during my stay of 3 nights and 4 days i came across the the rest of the team. they were all very friendly and helpful. the room and amenities are excellent. I enjoyed being here

    « Great stay! »

I would Deffo recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Hounslow/Heathrow ! I Got the best service and the staff treated me so well and took care of me !! Great customer service and enjoyed my stay. Definitely coming here again!

    « Not so bad »

The room was not a bad size compared to other budget hotels, was expecting more from the bathroom area, it was only a shower. I could see hair on our bed, not sure if its from previous guest or the housekeeping staff. The location is easily accessible from the motorway. Parking is lacking although we did manage to get a space. Also be prepared to pay for parking if you are driving. The guy at reception was quite nice and allowed us to settle before organizing parking permit for us. The staff were pleasant (spoke to them over the phone and also interaction in the hotel), they answered all our queries and ensured we had all the information we needed as our booking was last minute.

    2
« Most of the staff has an attitude problem - very BAD »

The room itself is fairly comfortable but the entire hotel is let down by its very bad attitude employees. I hope that the management or Mr Ramesh Arora himself would seriously provide proper supervision and oversight to this particular branch compare to the rest of the Park Grand. I am providing these reviews based on being a gold member of the Premier Reward Club who spent close to 50 days throughout the various Park Grand hotels. This particular sister hotel of Park Grand ranked the 2nd worst for the nonsense we have experienced. The first impression I had with most of the staff I dealt with face to face: start off with an attitude - unpleasant, cocky, unhelpful and speak in a tone proving they know best. INCIDENT 1: My husband went down the 2nd day after we check in to make some queries regarding 3rd party credit card transaction and was rudely brushed and told off by Gabrielle and Monica who were at the front desk that such method couldn't be done. He was utterly shocked of the unhelpful and non customers-oriented behaviour they had towards a guest who is trying to enquire (lets not forget being a gold member). By the way, just for other customers to know, a few days later, the so call "can't be done" 3rd party transaction was processed without any hindrance or questions whereby Gagan witnessed and completed the check in. What an inconsistent among the staff or is it just purely laziness or an inconvenience to certain staff due to additional work/paperwork? INCIDENT 2: Gagan who checked us in a day before, started off professionally, swiftly checked us in after receiving some adjustment made fr one of the other sister hotel London Premier Kensington (which was the worst among the Park Grand chain I have checked in and checkout within 3hrs), made a courtesy call 10mins after we get into the room to enquire if everything was ok. Just little for me to realize that after less than 24 hrs, such attitude of his changed 180 degree. I informed him day 2 of my stay around midday that I had extended my stay online and waiting for some payment to be cleared into my credit card, hence will need a couple of hours extension to be at the front desk to sort the payment. Without any politeness or being understanding, he immediately rattle away about the hotel policies, totally trying to portray hard how he is abiding the company rules and doing his job right. He even suggested that if by 3pm or if I am not satisfied, I could leave the hotel and he will void the online confirmed reservation without any charge. Wow, that's not a service or attitude I would expect from this Park Grand given the fact of spending close to 50 days in the various Park Grands. INCIDENT 3: The following day (day 3), I encountered the same rude attitude when I informed Monica of my room number and that I have extend my stay via online and came down to process my payment. Gabrielle who was next to her and was in the midst of attending to the other guest had to interject saying out loud in a cocky attitude "call and check with reservation if there is room available". I have to tell her off there and then, repeating myself that I had extended my stay online with a confirmed reservation anyway just to put her back in her place for her to continue attending to her guests in front of her. Monica then started calling the reservation and have me waiting....even after informing that I have a confirmed booking. Gabrielle who had finished attending to her guest swiftly printed the booking and transacted my payment while Monica is still having the phone to her ear waiting to get through reservation. ..that's the drama, inconsistent, ill manner front desk services that I have to put up with. Attitude changed right after that but in a very reluctant way. INCIDENT 4: Another day, left the green housekeeping light on, expecting our room to be cleaned. Overheard the housekeeping staff cleaning the opposite room and informed them face to face that after cleaning the opposite room to come to clean ours which they nodded and agreed. Our "make the room" green light was still left on. After almost 45 mins waiting for them to come, we heard there was no noise out there just to know they quietly left without bothering to come clean our room even we had verbally informed them. My husband then call downstairs which was about 3pm whereby once again Monica picked up the phone. He related the situation and requested her to inform housekeeping to clean the room just only for her to inform that housekeeping has left for work/off duty. Seriously?? Off duty when the supposed room to be cleaned has not been attended to yet? Once again, I have to call and this time Gagan picked up the call and said he will check with house keeping. The two housekeeping ladies that we have spoken to and sneakily went off came back embarrassingly and eventually cleaned the room. INCIDENT 5: We were having breakfast one weekend when we heard the entire conversation of the F&B supervisor who was in his suit publicly making joke/fun with his crews criticizing some guests who earlier complained about the scramble eggs were watery. How unprofessional is that? While another occasion we witnessed one of the staff even took a plate and dish out fruits, some toast and other food from the buffet line and went behind the kitchen to eat considering her breakfast. Shocking! The breakfast prepared were of low quality compared to the other Park Grand ie i) sausages were not fresh whereby one could tell a batch for a couple of days was cooked, kept as left over, reheat the next day and the day after next as the texture of the sausage shriveled. ii) scramble eggs are watered down by look in colour (only faint tinge of yellowness) and tasteless. iii) cereals were old and stale iv) pastries were stale. INCIDENT 6: Over the weekend, room 507 tv channels were not working and we called to inform the front desk. A porter (Jose) came up to check and acknowledged the various channels weren't working and informed he will return with his maintenance colleague. After 10 mins both men came up and once again acknowledged that the channels were not working and informed will notify the IT ppl to come up to the room to fix it. After almost 35-40mins of waiting, there was no joy of IT ppl coming to our room and once again we have to notify front desk to find out what was going on. The front desk once again having such an attitude informed that rooms at level 5 encountered some issues and they can't do anything about it. Seriously? When the hotel wanted to exercise about policies, rules, etc they expect the customers to adhere to it and act as it is, otherwise we are more than welcome to leave..but when the customers made full payment without any outstanding and the tv/services/room not functioning properly, all they can provide is the answer: "there is nothing that we can do or fix the channels" and expect the customers to accept it? What a joke. We have to call back the front desk once again to insist that either somebody/technician fix the problem or to provide us a room whereby the tv channels are working. Anu who picked up our call then arrange for another room for us to move into. The porter, Jose who came up to show us the new room once again having such an attitude on his face as if it was such a big hassle for him to come up to check the channel in the earlier room, went downstairs and did nothing and once again have to force to come up with a key to the new room. He even very reluctantly wanting to help us with our bags to the new room. The only one extraordinary staff that I met and worth complimenting was Georgetta who was a housekeeping staff who was polite, helpful, without an attitude, doing her best and honest day job. I am grateful for that and wish the hotel has more of such staff. On the day that we left, I called front desk to find out taxi rates due to INCIDENT 7: their so call free mobile phone for local calls never work (don't bother) even though Monica who picked up the call tried to explain that I might not have dial properly which is not the case given the fact I have stayed in the other Park Grands for close to 50 days, I know how to dial and if it works or not works. Anyway, that day she was obliging and made two calls to the taxi to check the rates though they were much higher and I managed to book online. Thanks for her assistance for that moment. I sincerely hope regular visit and spot checks of the senior management should be conducted to this particular Park Grand as the overall staff attitude were "couldn't care less, couldn't be bother, we run our own show, eat the breakfast that is also served to the guests as and when we like, guest requests' are just such a hassle and burden to us, make fun or criticizing the guests comments out loud in public etc. Very unprofessional, rude and not customer-oriented at all!

    « Offered me a plastic razor ..?? »

Room was nice..very stylish..very clean...restaurant buffet was very good..great variety...freshly cooked....breakfast was ample...nice english selection....reasonable cost for a hotel....comfy bar.area.....it should be a very good... After a long journey on Wednesday I reported the shaver point in my room didn't work..they said someone would take a look at it....Thursday morning I asked agin....Thursday afternoon I asked again.... On checkout on Friday morning I moaned...apparently something so simple couldn't be fixed in 3 days ???? The receptionist said she tried to call me..tried to call me for what ?... To say it couldn't be fixed ?? They have plastic razors and foam at the reception for such eventualities....4 stars... I don't think so... I enjoyed my stay here but the reception service was catastrophically uncaring...sorry Park Grand people you need more than just a nice building to earn 4 stars you need to back it up with some forward thinking staff as well...

« Really bad customer service - do not use »

Do not book the hotel via any booking agents. Do not try and ring to book direct. Do not try and book if Heathrow is busy. They were very bad. In summary: Flight cancelled, we did booking.com for a nearby hotel. Booking confirmed with email & confirmation number. Paid £35 for taxi. (Also called hotel direct to confirm). Hotel denied booking and said as Heathrow was busy don't take booking.com reservations past 8pm?? Told us to contact booking.com as was not their fault. Called booking.com, hotel advised them our credit card had declined. We have 4 cards and we were asked for none!! In fairness, booking.com were fab. This hotel was NOT! No suggestion of alternatives, they fibbed, and were so unwelcoming. I appreciate if Heathrow is busy this puts pressure on local hotels but this was just shocking. Will not use this hotel again ever!

    « Great budget stay »

Awesome is the word! Rooms were beautiful and very clean with all the necessary amenities . Very well maintained . Extra points for the bathroom which was very spacious , well placed and very very clean . Stayed only for 1 night , breakfast buffet was also good considering the charges . Had a really comfortable stay and would recommend it to those who want to stay near the heathrow airport.

« Spacious and close to Heathrow and the Tube Station »

We stayed here for 3 nights during our recent holiday in London. The hotel is close to Heathrow and on the flight path so plenty of plane sightings from the rooms, the nearest tube station is 10 minutes walk away from the hotel. The front office staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are well insulated and spacious but can do better with quality furniture and toiletries which were all Chinese made and of inferior quality not befitting a boutique hotel as advertised. Also the Iron box, spent over 30 minutes to Iron a shirt, need quality stuff. I was unhappy with housekeeping as they never cleaned and vacuumed the rooms well, this needs a lot of improvement. Breakfast had a decent spread and a few good restaurants close by. Liked the food at the Nepalese restaurant just across the street. Parking available onsite but limited

    « Smelly Room & Rude Manager »

On the night I checked in, I was met with a very rude night manager who asked that I go home or he will 'send us back' because the room that we reserved was not paid. Obviously Expedia allows guests to reserve rooms without paying and that we can pay when we arrive. That was the first one. Second issue, the room I was given was filled with cigarette smell. However, they were very happy to change it for me but again, that shouldn't happen. Finally, when I asked about the parking, the impatient and rude night manager slammed his papers and told me off. I do not understand the need for such behaviour. That was very unbecoming of a night manager. Terrible service. More importantly, terrible person.

    « Another pleasant stay. »

I've stayed here before a couple of years ago. It is a great hotel, had a little trouble getting into the car park, but was soon sorted. I was lucky enough to have one of the rooms on the display picture. Which was really smart and comfortable. I had food from the buffet menu. Which I really enjoyed and would recommend. Overall great stay.

    « Convenient and Clean »

Stayed here on 2 occasions. Arriving into England and on the way out. Bonus on being able to leave luggage at the hotel. Ate downstairs, both buffet and from menu. I'm not a big eater so would always check on what is on the buffet first. The bar is handy as I have some friends in for a couple of drinks Downside, the first room. I could not get the chair into the desk. There is a massive pole that is in the way. Really bad construction design. I ended up working from sitting on the bed. I asked for a different room on the way out. Both rooms were at the front of the hotel. They were quite. Clean and the staff there were really helpful. Close to the tube. If you are getting off with luggage. Try to organise a taxi if needed.

« Excellent value and good rooms »

We are working away 2 males, so searching for a twin room in the Hounslow area and stumbled across this hotel couldn't believe the price, once we arrived we were greeted with great competent staff and the rooms are clean with everything one needs and of a good standard, parking could be an issue as on a first come first serve basis....buy can't have it all. Will stay again.

    « Excellent! »

We've just had a 4 day stay at parkland, its an excellent hotel, we had a double room with what seemed like a king size bed which was one of the most comfortable beds iv ever slept in. The service was secound to none, the housekeeping was very effecient keeping our room beautifully clean, especially the bathroom. The bathroom had a large bath with 2 types of super powerful showers and was as if it was newly installed, it was that clean, as were towels! Parking is a tad restricted but if your an international traveller and dont need your car, this is the place to stay. Great links to london central aswell as major roads to theme parks aswell as further south to the coast. All in all 11 out of 10 Highly recommended!!

    « Pleasantly surprised »

I had read some reviews that really made a little nervous about staying here. However, we were pleasantly impressed with this hotel. The room was very clean. Even though, we did not quite get the deal we had reserved through booking.com. Our bill was about $50 more. When I called the desk to discuss I was given some double talk. Our room had what certainly look like a refrigerator -- however, ours was not getting cold. I called down to the desk and we were told it was merely a "cooler". Really? Same for a phone that is provided -- a WiFi based cell phone that is supposed to allow you to make international calls for free -- ours never worked. When I called down regarding this the clerk suggested we were not properly using it -- "use it like a regular cell phone".... no... duh. But despite those issues, I would stay here again. It would have been nice to have airport shuttle service.

    « Value for money »

We found this on booking.com for almost half price. Room was a nice size and had all facilities we needed. Was clean and well presented. I would say it's suitable for al types of occasions and would definitely return! I can't say I tried the restaurant as we arrived late... But did see they have a small night time menu available. Also may I add that the bed was so comfortable!

    « Great Hotel »

First time staying here , I've been working away in London for 8 weeks now and this is the best hotel I've stayed in by far , clean modern and friendly, highly recommend ?? good value for money , will definitely be coming back , secure parking but you will have to pay £10 per night

« Lovely hotel and excellent service »

My mother in law and father in law have just spent a few nights at this hotel. The staff were always approachable and friendly as well as the service for breakfast and up keep of the room. They particularly liked the large bed! We will return. Many thanks!

« Great place for a short getaway! »

Got a great last minute deal from a rival website, which described the hotel as 'boutique' and it certainly delivered. Agreed the room was a little small, but the bed was so high and comfortable that you almost sunk into it! Aside for the creaks every time you turned over and the occasional noise of planes (bliss no night flights). Had a wonderful nights sleep. The rainfall shower has got to be the best feature of the room was really powerful! It would be advisable to pre book your parking as the car park is so small "compact" may be a better word! The reception staff were pleasant enough but didn't feel very welcoming. Didn't have an opportunity to eat at the hotel (out for the evening) but the menu seemed to be one that i would indulge in. Would definitely stay there again... Probably would have scored excellent but service from front desk staff just took the edge off for me!

    « A great hotel »

We had a nice room (a bit smaller than expected) and enjoyed the large bed. There was no noise even if we were able to see the road from our room. The staff was nice. Note that you'll need a car if you want to stay at this hotel and that it's not in the center of London.

« Annoying staff but decent hotel for price »

Booked a triple room at just £180 for 2 nights for 3 friends attending a wedding weekender nearby. Didn't expect much but it was a decent stay. Hotel is easy to find, wifi is good. You can't hear the low planes at Heathrow from inside the rooms so that's a bonus. Room service arrives after about 30mins and is ok food and Filling!! However the staff are very harassing about making payment instantly even after we said we would pay on departure to the wedding and had another day yet. We were called 3 times after 10pm to come down and pay which was really rude. We paid the following morning when we also requested there be no housekeeping for our room while we were out as we had 3 peoples make up everywhere. Only to return to our rooms being done and there being stranger blood on the sheets. When we called down the "manager" was very rude and didn't send help for about an hour after we reminded her. The guy who changed it was very moany about having to do this as it "wasn't his job". Got pretty awkward. Car park fits around 20 cars max! This place is about 8 mins drive to Hounslow high street but there are local amenities and a petrol station next door which helps. No problems with the tv - good size and has a hdmi port if you want to bring a cable to each something on your laptop. Room is modern but has no windows so triple rooms may be a bit stuffy at night!! Beds are good but pillows are really big and can cause neck ache. Restaurant is also modern and the lounge area is nice.

    « Misleading totally »

What a disgrace !! Totally pathetic hotel Booked on basis that there is parking available. Not at all mentioned that parking is very limited and led to believe that parking is plentiful. Located in a rough area in Hounslow So safe parking is essential at least three other people had this or similar conversation with the duty manager who is very rude. Wouldn't recommend and certainly there are better options than this hotel

    « Car parking is a nightmare! »

This hotel is good as a basic hotel and a change from the usual premier inn. The rooms are quite small but the bathrooms are a good size. The parking is a nightmare. I have a blue badge and I'm happy to say they did reserve me a space but other guests were fighting over car parking spaces.

« Recent London theatre trip with Vegetarian/Vegan options »

Excellent location for a long weekend west end theatre trip . . staff friendly, communicative and responsive to needs . . yes there is a £10 car-parking fee, but it's worth it and not excessive when compared to other options . . Breakfast was good with vegetarian options (sausages) on request . . Osterley underground station is a 15 min walk away and the use of a contactless debit card made travelling around London very easy, with a daily £9-30 max fee, so long as you remember to sign in and out at exact station . . our room was modern, with an excellent ensuite shower room . . fully air-conditioned with no opening windows that I could see . . vegetarian restaurant, 'Old School' located 20 min walk away with great veggie/vegan options . . for veggie/vegan options in the city try, 'Wholefoods' in Richmond or Piccadilly . . expensive? but highly recommended. . . the sun shone for us every day and we saw 3 wonderful shows

    « Healthrow hotel »

Great hotel to stay at if you have an early morning flight out of Heathrow Airport. Very modern , clean with a good restaurant. Situated near shops and restaurants. In spite of the fact that there are constant flights over the hotel it is very quiet. If booked on line the nightly charge is reasonable.

An excellent hotel. We had a great stay and could not fault anything. It was extremely clean and the rooms were comfortable. Very accommodating, helpful and polite staff. Convenient location for Central London. Would definitely stay again.

    « Nice room »

Stayed at hotel overnight to connect with early flight from terminal 3. Room was well presented, nice small bathroom, comfortably bed. Free Wi-Fi, reasonable connection. Positives - reasonably-priced, reasonably quite given location. Not so good- (1) we had an evening meal which was very average, disappointing and (2) checkin experience was below expectations of this type of BW product.

« Not Ideal for Touring London »

The hotel is located in West London in a dirty town called Hounslow. It's basically a little India in London. There are a few things I did not like about the hotel. First of all, they charge you 10 pounds/day to park and there's only about 30 available spaces and one small entrance to get in and out. If you're touring London don't bother renting a car at all as an Uber driver was never more than 5 minutes away. Also, this hotel is not a pickup location for any tours (Premier or Eurostar). I had to catch an Uber to the Indigo Hotel in Kensington. Secondly, there is NOTHING to do at all nearby and I mean NOTHING. Lastly, they charge you for breakfast. The breakfast is very good, but all the petty fees are very annoying and they should be built into the cost of the room. If you're in London to see the sites and tours I would recommend staying at a hotel that's a pickup location, close to some decent places to eat and don't rent a car.

Just booked into this hotel. Company paid in full upfront. They demanded a credit card for an extra £61.20 or i couldnt stay. The bed was propped up with plywood as the base was broken and the shower was filthy. What a great start to a hotel stay

« HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Excellent location, staff, food and rooms »

I booked three rooms for a party of 6, ranging in age from 67 (myself) to 18mths. I wanted a base close to Heathrow but with good links to central London. Osterley station (Picadilly Line) is a leisurely 20 min saunter (at toddler speed). Taxi to Terminal 5 took approx. 20 mins at 08.00 on a weekday. Cot provided for the infant at no extra cost. The staff were lovely, courteous, kind and efficient. Beds very comfortable, bathroom facilities very good with excellent shower and bath. Food was more interesting than the usual hotel fare: the classic British food was there but there were various delicious Indian dishes too. This combination offered a good range of options for our Muslim companions. Unlike many hotels around Heathrow, the Park Grand is in an actual community as opposed to the more usual "hotel land". The area round about is probably more typical of modern London life than the tourist attractions of the centre. So if you're on a tourist visit, it is worth taking the time to explore locally. We will make this our base for Heathrow stopovers in future.

    « Highly Recommend »

I cannot say enough about this hotel. Beautiful rooms, clean, wonderful amenities. The staff was incredibly helpful in every way. We came on a Sunday and the front desk took substantial time to research/help me find a local Mass and made sure we knew how to get there. They exceeded my expectations in every way. Beautiful hotel, great staff, great pub around the corner. Thanks, Best Western!

« Very Comfortable, Very Clean - rate could be better! »

This is an excellent business hotel situated in Hounslow, a short distance from Heathrow. Access to the hotel by Train or Uber is super quick and super convenient. The station is within walking distance and the London City Centre is 40 min away by train/tube. There are reasonable restaurants in the area, within a quick drive radius. Breakfasts are good, the superior rooms are excellent, clean and well appointed. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because they advertise a lower rate than they sell on their website and adding on breakfast makes it more costly. However, you do get what you pay for?

    4
    « High Quality »

Booked a double room for £84 with Hotels.com due to working in the area and even managed to get the last parking space ( for an additional £10) In reception staff were polite, quick to complete check in and explain everything, looking around this is not your average Best Western, they have clearly had a full refurbishment of the building ( or it's a new build) and all areas are finished to a high standard perhaps superior to a decent Premier inn. The bedroom was fab, huge comfy bed, Aircon , excellent tea making facilities with biscuits and huge Samsung tv. The ensuite was contemporary , with plenty of shower gell, shampoo and body lotion, the pressure from the shower was excellent. Given the location the soundproofing of the bedroom was fairly good. Excellent place to stay, will defiantly come back !

« Do not stay here »

We stayed there last week for 3 nights and our room smelled awful like sewer... The beds are super lumpy and our backs hurt so badly. The area has zero to do and we did not feel safe even attempting to walk to the train. You will have to take cabs to even get to any place to eat and there is zero here.

« Great Place to stay for easy access to Heathrow »

This was a lovely hotel to stay at for our final night in London. The room easily accommodated our small family and was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and had an amazing shower. Our room was on the fifth floor and very quite. The hotel offers a full bar and restaurant. We did not use either but they looked nice. The town of Hounslow is a small community with nice character. The hotel staff were very professional and obtained us a taxi for the airport at a moments notice. It would be nice to have a free breakfast though like the other Best Western Hotels offer in the USA.

« Park Grand came to the rescue!!!! »

My family and I were stranded at Heathrow after missing a connection to Calgary. BA pretty much left us to our own devices and I frantically made the booking on my phone as many other passengers seemed to be in the same situation. The hotel was so much more than we could have hoped for so late at night and with a group of 6 of us all needing housed. Value was amazing. There was a bit of confusion finding our booking when we arrived but staff were very helpful even with the stress of a lot of last minute bookings. Our rooms were all spacious and clean. Breakfast the next morning was good too. As an airport hotel, my only negative was that there was quite a bit of noise through the night in the corridors but we were all just so grateful for a comfortable bed and hot shower the next morning. Thank you Park Grand!!!!

    « Wonderful! »

This was a pleasant surprise! The room was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and quiet. And the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient upon check in and check out. I can't believe how great this hotel was for the price. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. I also used the restaurant here, and while I found the offering to be a bit odd, the food we got was all quite good. Especially what I ordered from the menu. Very friendly service there, too.

    « Comfortable, convenient & friendly »

A good place to stay with easy access to the centre of London via the tube which is only 10 minutes walk away. Comfortable beds, good staff and a lot of restaurants within walking distance in Hounslow.Easy to drive to from the M4 if you're coming from the West.

« A poorly run establishment that denied booking »

I tried to stay here June 2016 when flight was cancelled from Heathrow. The hotel was not managing its inventory correctly through booking.com showing room available and taking booking, but then cancelling the booking as a no-show. This message was not passed onto me or the 10 + other stranded passengers in the same situation who turned up. The receptionist was overworked, but fundamentally disinterested and denied the booking existed and I was left high and dry. I asked the hotel to back me off to another hotel and was told I could have a room if I paid and extra £170 on top of the £110 rate. Not what was needed at 1.15am Friday morning. Wouldn't touch this again with a barge pole as just not run effectively.

    « Good value »

Very reasonable for a one night stay (£60). Staff were welcoming. Room was modern, quiet and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Had the lamb from the room service which was also very good. Only minor gripe was that it advertises as being on the great west road, where in fact access is from lampton road, so I had to drive around the block a few times to find the entrance. Would recommend.

    « Dream Hotel!!! »

What a fabulous hotel this has turned out to be, I'm stopping here on business and as a plane spotting anorak it ticks all the boxes, right on the flight path for Heathrow. Even better still as a lover of Indian food it's like I've died and gone to heaven. The evening dining is very similar to the red hot buffet style restaurants where you can eat as much as you want with Indian, Thai, Italian etc all available. If you don't fancy the buffet then a menu is also available. The rooms are very modern with nice decor and a fabulous shower room. The only negative in my room was the TV reception. Typical digital TV where the channels kept breaking up. Annoying at times. Would I stop here again? Most definitely!

« Decent Hotel at good price »

The hotel has a glamorous feel on entry and the room was very clean with very comfortable beds. The staff were lovely and welcoming and tended to all needs with no fuss. Although, I didn't eat in the restaurant area it looked very nice. The only problem, which some guests may have is the fact that my bedroom (a twin room) had a door which led into the bedroom next door. Although it was locked, I could hear everything next door were saying and it could have got uncomfortable if they decided to get up to adult activities. In the morning I was overwhelmed and fascinated with the number of aeroplanes which flew over the hotel very low, ready to land at Heathrow airport. Kids will love it too. Overall, it was a nice stay at a very good price. Highly recommended.

Hard to find. Phoned hotel for directions and was put on hold, Does the staff even know where they are? Or care. took half an hour to get checked in and was told that the room booked was not available and would have to take a single bed for two people.Only on being pressured was a suitable room offered.

« Good hotel let down by reception staff and parking »

I stayed here recently on business for 3 nights. When I arrived at 10.30pm, I drove into a TINY car park, which was no bigger than a drop off zone for most airport hotels. There were no spaces at all, so I stopped in front of the entrance and went to drop off my bags and ask where I could park. There were three people behind reception. One was looking at the computer, one was concierge and the other immediately picked up the phone as I approached the desk. There were no other people waiting to check in. I stood there for a few minutes, after not being acknowledged at all. Eventually the guy who was on the phone put the phone down and asked "What's your last name?" No "hello", or "welcome". I said I'd like to drop my bags and park my car. He said the carpark was full but I could park at the pub down the road and that I'd have to go into the pub and pay them £10. So I dropped my bags and headed off to the pub. I pulled into a dark, un lit car park and headed into the pub. As a female I didn't feel comfortable at all. I had to walk into a pub full of men, past pool tables and fruit machines at almost 11pm on a Tuesday. You can probably imagine the type of people who were in there. I approached the bar..looking INCREDIBLY out of place and paid my £10 after someone eventually acknowledged me. I headed back to the hotel to check in and again was ignored. If it weren't for the pervy looks I got from the guys in the pub, I'd think I was invisible. I got checked in but there was no mention of what time and where breakfast would be served or what the wifi code was. I headed to my room and thankfully the room was very nice. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was great. I had a fantastic view of Heathrow too and the planes come right over the hotel. I didn't find it a nuisance though. It's a real shame about the staff and the parking. If the hotel got better front of house staff and they had some type of valet parking it would make a huge difference. I don't think I'd stay here again. I had to leave my car at work in the end and paid for a taxi to and from the hotel for the week.

« Great hotel for the price and area! »

We stayed here for a trip to Twickenham. The hotel has limited parking but that said we were lucky and parked no problem. The staff were very friendly on welcome and kept our bags safe as we were too early for our rooms, they also scheduled us a taxi to the stadium which was at a bargain price of £20. Drinks in the bar weren't too expensive either while we waited - what a good start. When we returned we had steadily walked back from the grounds and the rooms were a great surprise. Spacious, massive comfy bed and very clean!! Bathroom was fantastic too. I could not fault anything. We did choose to eat in the restaurant and had a buffet - this was average tobe fair but we could have made the effort to find a specific restaurant or ordered from the menu but we took the easy option and it did the job. Overall I would definitely stay here again especially if visiting Twickenham.

    « bed not comfortable! »

The entrance to the car park needs to be signed as it is not obvious how to get there from the main road. The room was pleasant but the mattress most definitely needs replacing - the springs are shot and it is so soft that roll together is inevitable. As the bed is only a standard 4'6 this makes for a restless night of fighting for space! The room service was erratic - we didn't really get what we wanted but it was fine. Staff friendly and it was overall actually ok.

Having been sent from overbooked hotel in central London to this hotel where we didn't want to stay due to distance to central London the General Manager took his time to book us into a very good hotel in Notting Hill. A few hours after booking in at hotel in Notting Hill the mobile phone was delivered to me!!!

Stayed here after the friendly on Sunday. Shared a twin room, the beds were very comfortable, the room was a good size and clean. The shower was fantastic, the sort that really wakes you up in the morning and after a heavy day on the Sunday was just what I needed. Also had the cooked breakfast which was the perfect pick me up and there was plenty of choice on offer with the Buffett. Will definitely stay again.

« Excellent hotel close to Heathrow »

The Park Grand is a little gem. I currently stay here virtually every week. It's a new hotel, so rooms are well equipped, tasteful and modern, and rates are moderate. The car park is tiny and usually full at night (and costs £10) but there is free street parking nearby. Night staff are way more friendly than morning staff which is strange ..

    « Break in London »

This was a trip with my wife for an appointment in central London. Access from Heathrow was easy by taxi. On entering the hotel, the Reception area is directly inside the front door. Staff upgraded our room immediately. I had booked a double room but got two single beds with two duvets? We had been tired and didn't raise the issue preferring to rest for the next day. The room was clean and tidy at the front of the hotel. There was road noise being on the main road until late evening. Staff at reception didn't have much knowledge regarding transport or giving directions. Staff within the restaurant were very attentive and had much more of a customer attention in their attitude, help and mannerisms. Hotel is classed as 4*. I have used other hotels which were 4* and they were streets ahead as far as customer service is concerned. Access into the city is best gotten by use of the Picadilly line from the nearest underground station which is ten minutes walk away from the hotel.

Excellent Value, Wonderful Location, Warm Friendly Staff with Very Useful London Knowledge ... We were greeted as soon as we entered & were shown to our Room & given help with our Bags, The Room was spacious , Neat & Clean with appropriate Disabled facilities for my Mother which was very thoughtful ... There were Welcome Goodies of Fruits & Water etc ... which was a nice touch ... when we went down for Dinner , there was a nice Fresh Buffet Selection , Asian & Continental , although an À la carte Menu was available , the Buffet served quite a selection , so we were happy with that , You could see the workings of the Kitchen which was nice & reassuring ... We then went up for a sound night's sleep & were woken bang on time with a Wake-up call so that we could make our appointment in time ... Breakfast again offered a substantial spread ... A Welcome Stay , We'll be going back for Sure next time we need to stop in London or Heathrow ... Well Done Park Grand *!* & Thank You ALL

« Pretty good for the price »

Good value. There were one or two issues with room cleanliness, lost items not recorded correctly, electric socket not working, an iron in the room as standard would be nice, service was a little tardy in the restaurant. Otherwise, good for the price considering it is London. Hotel in Hounslow/Osterley so a lot more central than the name might suggest. Short stroll to Osterley Park or Hounslow High Street. Short bus ride to Chiswick or Ealing. Bus stops right outside. Very soft/comfy beds.

« Way Station to Rest »

Just what we needed after our long flight from Cape Town. Unfortunately, we arrived at 8:30 am and rooms were not ready until noon. The breakfast was just ok with the usual fare presented in an unsophisticated manner. Thinking this was included in our hotel fee, we were a bit dismayed that the breakfast meal was so expensive. We never tried other meals here. After paying for early check-in, we collapsed in our beds around 10:30 am. The room is clean, orderly and quite functional. The bed was just marvelous and promoted good quality sleep. Although the hotel is just on the flight path, great sound proofing suppressed the noise of landing planes. There is an unusual scent in the hallways. I think it is a cleaning or waxing compound that hurries one to the elevator or to the room. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. There was no proactive offerings of nearby attractions. We found the Hounslow center by walking about a mile along Lampton Road. Many restaurants, shopping and vendors helped make this trip more interesting.

« Not just an airport hotel »

The hotel, although stated as Heathrow in the title, is actually situated on the A4 Great West Road, Hounslow but only six miles straight down the road from the airport and is easy to get to either by taxi or public transport. You have three tube stations within half a mile, though all on the Piccadilly line. It is a Best Western 4 star hotel but also part of the Shaftsbury Hotels Group. The hotel foyer is on the small side but has seating areas and a small bar to the left of the check in desk. For some reason there is a pool table next to the bar which looks totally out of place and the space could be better used by increasing the seating area around the bar. Check in was smooth and effortless and I was checked in by the duty manager Mr Gagan Ahiya. Parking is limited at the hotel and the process is covered in previous reviews. Mr Ahiya was charming, professional and very helpful in resolving some minor issues. The batteries in the room safe had run out and there was no iron with the ironing board but with a quick word to a porter by Gagan, the issues were resolved within minutes. I had a room 505 on the side of the hotel and I had no issues with noise from either the road or the aircraft above. I note from previous reviews complaints of noise but I had no such issues. The room was contemporary, clean, and although it was not spacious it was big enough with a work table and chair, good sized wardrobe space and comfy chair and small table. There was a large flat panel TV and media connection panel with HDMI and USB input as well as video inputs. A nice touch among this was a mobile phone cradle and charge cable. The usual kettle, tea and coffee and biscuits were available in the room as well as a mini fridge that worked without having to buy a drink package like some chains of hotel. The bed was a double bed which, as I was alone, suited though being used to a king sized bed I would have found it too small had my wife been with me. It was soft but supportive and comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. I thought the room was very well equipped, modern and clean with large TV, good wardrobe space, tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge, iron and ironing board and room safe. The bathroom was spacious with a bath and overhead rain forest shower and separate hand shower, both of which were powerful and hot. Again it was of a contemporary design, immaculately clean and individual toiletries. The restaurant is situated to the right of reception and boasts a pan-Asian style buffet which smelled and looked wonderful with a huge choice of starter, main and deserts on display around it being kept warm on induction heaters. I fancied something different so went for their 12? pizza and a pint deal which was made to order and delicious. I think the restaurant is open to walk-in non-residents so I may try out the buffet in the future. There was some minor issues relating to me loyalty status and the room but a quiet word with the duty manager, Mr Ahiya had them resolved. I must credit him and his staff on duty during my visit as they were all very professional but a special mention to Gagan especially, as he was fighting a terrible cold but still was utterly helpful. Also worth a mention to the chef who regularly walked around the food stations checking the food display as well as asking me about how I was enjoying my pizza. There is a small fitness room in the basement with two running machines, cross trainer and a few machines. Not a huge room but good enough to get some exercise. I think the Hotel does itself a disfavour calling itself a Heathrow hotel as it aligns itself, certainly in my eyes, as being somewhere to stay only when going to or from a flight at the airport but it is more than that. It is situated as I said very close to the tube meaning a ten minute walk to the tube and an half hour tube ride gets you to central London, visiting the museums or wandering around Harrods. Go visit Chinatown or the West End. If you drive there you are a 30 minute drive from Windsor and the beautiful countryside around there and ten minutes further will get you to Ascot and the races. The price of the room I found to be very reasonable for what you are getting in a four star hotel, and if you look beyond the fact that you are located in Hounslow, but have easy access to the Capital or the countryside you will enjoy your stay.

« Sounds a lot better than it is »

A very clever website that makes the hotel look a lot better than it is. The club lounge needed to be opened, was full of empty pizza boxes and needed a good clean. No sign of the drinks etc suggested. I was overall disapointed

« One of the nicer hotels around Heathrow. »

Stayed here for 3 days in April. Rooms are small but of a very good standard. The restaurant was very good for breakfast and evening meals. The international buffet they run has a good choice and was very tasty and inexpensive.

    « Good hotel »

My stay here was very pleasant, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. This was my second stay at this hotel and both visits were pleasant and I would reccomend this hotel to anyone with an early morning flight, you can uber to the airport in around 15 mins to terminal 4.

    « Great Hotel...Tough Car Park »

I love this hotel its value for money and rooms and bathroom are spacious modern and clean. Staff are great too and overall this is a good choice if your going London for business. It's location is on the main road connecting you to Central London and Heathrow and the highways to all other cities in the UK. Car park is the only negative issue as you will struggle to find a parking spot at night especially during the weekdays.

« Disappointing car park and breakfast »

Reasonable stay here for 1 night whilst in London for the army vs navy rugby. This hotel advertises parking, however when we arrived the Carpark was absolutely crammed with no spaces available. The hotel advised that we park in a nearby pub's Carpark which whilst ok did not set a good image at all. In addition breakfast was extremely busy with lots of items unavailable, which again drags down the score. As positives the hotel was clean and tidy, with modern decor, comfy beds but overall I could not recommend staying here if you intend to drive or eat breakfast!!

« Not good if you want a good nights sleep »

We stayed here for one night before our flight from Heathrow. So glad it was only for the night. The beds are to soft, i never suffer for a bad back but i did after sleeping here for a night and its so noisy. All you can hear all night is aircraft landing and taking off. We have stayed at other hotels closer to the airport and not heard a sound. Invest in better beds and proper glazing.

    « Wonderful Stay »

I was truly impressed with the appearance and the friendliness of the staff from the time of arrival until my departure. This hotel is truly one of a kind and the employees are very helpful and friendly. All areas of the hotel were very neat, clean and well kept. The breakfast was truly amazing and we could not have wanted more.

    « Noisy! »

Being situated right above the flight path you expect it to be noisy but in fact it was not too bad. However......the staff have no concept of quiet. We stayed 2 nights and each morning before 6am we were woken by the the staff shouting down the corridors and banging doors and trollies and making a general racket. The rooms are well presented and the underfloor heating in the bathroom is lovely but our facilities were not replenished fully each day. We had booked this room 5 months in advance and we were told on arrival we were lucky as we got the last room. ...on saying to the staff we booked months ago we were told as it was a busy weekend all rooms went on a 1st come 1st served basis so if someone else arrived before us our room would have been given to them and we would be sent across to the other side of London to Kensington. Breakfast was standard but the service was awful. We were told to sit and wait but then we were just left!!!! After 20 minutes we had to go and find someone and ask for some tea, after another wait the tiniest teapot was shoved on out table with noting else. As I went to look for milk the waitress snapped at me asking what I was doing, I said we needed milk and she said sit. Minutes later a tea cup with milk was plonked on the table. The breakfast staff definitely need to learn customer service and manners. Asides from the breakfast and early morning noise it was a pleasant stay.

    « WOW »

I have stayed here before but never tried the food. Last night I visited the hotel with a friend to give the restaurant a try and I am glad we did. The service was great and the food was really delicious and tasty. Our waitress (polish girl with blonde hair) was very friendly and on the ball. Well done. The food and experience was so good we shall be back again soon.

Very modern hotel ideally located for Heathrow, Really good value for money. Will definitely stay there again. Didn't have chance to take breakfast or dinner but it looks like they would have been good too.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and room and it was exceptional for the price. It has been newly refurbished and to a high standard. Spotless bedroom and bathroom and staff were very friendly and helpful.

I travelled to London to attend my cousin's cremation. The hotel was close to her flat which made contact the immediate family members very easy. The room was good. The desk personeel very helpful. The continental breakfast was OK.

    « Good weekend! »

Good hotel, friendly staff, the room was clean and comfy. A bit nosey with the planes going over every 45 seconds! Good selection of breakfasts and dinner, the Buffett had a great choice ! Pity they charged for the bottled water on the second night?

    « Well worth a visit »

I arrived at the hotel situated on the Great West Road, heading in to central London. It's a high rise building so easy to spot. I had to turn right and sort of circle round to find the car park entrance. It's a one way system and I can appreciate others complaining about narriow lanes and a lack of spaces. I arrived at 1 pm and had no problems getrting parked up. That cost £10 for a voucher to display in your windscreen. Check in was at 2 but my room was ready and I was checked in straight way, Staff were all friendly and efficient. My room whilst not huge was plenty big enough. Good TV, tea coffee and biscuits, bottled Highland Spring water, desk, phone, lovely comfy bed, good lighting apart from one bulb flickering. More than adequate wardrobe. Desk and lots of ports. Bathroom good except for weak lighting especially for shaving.Soap shampoo etc. The location was good- 8 minute walk to Osterley tube on the Picadilly line. I didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that. The price was very good value. I recommend and will return.

« Nice modern hotel parking available at a price »

Stopped one night on business . As a Best Western diamond for life member was upgraded to a club room on the 6th floor. Room was clean and very modern with very comfy bed. Nice bathroom with very powerful shower. Friendly and professional staff . There is on site parking which is limited and cost £10. Didn't eat at the premises there are several eating establishments within a short walk and I can recommend the pavilion rouge across the road. I would recommend this hotel and would stop here again

« Excellent Hotel in the Heathrow area. »

We were looking for a hotel for two nights to attend a conference in London. We needed to be in the Heathrow area and selected this Best Western Hotel. It was excellent value for money, very helpful staff and very quite at night even though the hotel is in the Heathrow flight path. We would definitely stay here again.

« Great staff and good rooms »

this hotel is great value for money and it has easy access transport. The hotel had great and friendly staff and also the rooms were big and comfortable. The hotel does not any attractions near by however there is a high street there where you can go for shopping had stayed in this hotel for rugby the hotel had arranged a shuttle service to Twickenham. The shuttle services was from A1 Heathrow cars they had also provided an excellent service they dropped us and they had also collected us from Twickenham. the shuttle service was great value for money as well. overall this hotel is great value for money and this hotel has friendly reception staff. all the staff in this hotel made sure that we had an excellent stay. also this hotel has a restaurant and that has all types of cuisines from Indian to continental and more.

« Clean, modern hotel with good rooms - bad parking »

We booked two rooms whilst attending a rugby match at Twickenham - we booked through booking.com and secured each room with breakfast and free cancellation on a Saturday night for £122 a room - a few weeks later these increased to £315 a room, which is ridiculous and we would not have paid that! We arrived at the hotel, easy enough to get to from the m25, but unfortunately as others have mentioned, parking is a joke and even to maneuver around the narrow car park circling the hotel is a difficult task. What was more frustrating was that they had cornered off part of the car park for a private function, children's birthday party... after running into reception we were handed a map of alternative places to park (I must stress that staff were helpful and apologetic, it's not their fault) . We were lucky enough to get one of the last spaces over the road and the black horse pub - pop in and pay the staff behind the bar £10 (same as what the hotel charges) give them your reg number and it's a minute walk back to the hotel - we did see another family who must have had to park a very long way away as we didn't see them arrive back at the hotel for another 45 mins. Apart from parking, the rest of the experience was good, the hotel itself is spacious, clean and modern. Rooms are very comfortable and bathroom facilities are of an excellent standard. Breakfast was not great unfortunately, there didn't seem to be any staff present, there was no fresh orange juice available for about half an hour and when they did replenish it, there was a massive queue and it was gone again within minutes. It took a good 15 minutes after being seated to be asked if we wanted a coffee or tea - when you're in a hotel, first thing in a morning you are thirsty! Waiting that long for a drink is unacceptable. Food was average. I would have rated the hotel very good, if not for the parking and breakfast blips - otherwise, if you are looking for a cheap, clean and modern hotel to get your head down whilst visiting for rugby it is perfect. Taxi to Twickenham won't cost much, however, book your own and don't let the hotel use their supplier of mini busses, they ripped us of a £5 a head (£20 for us and another £20 for others in bus) and it only cost £12 on the way back.

« Pleasant and good stay »

I liked this hotel. I wanted to stay near Heathrow for an early morning flight and chose it for the price and because it looked new and modern. Found it clean and with nice interiors. Good bathroom and shower. Courteous and smiling staff. Slept really well. Location - not as close to Heathrow as some of the other airport hotels, but bus 111 gets you to the central bus station in 20mins and the stop is 2mins from the hotel (you can also take the tube, but that's a 15min walk from the hotel). If the price was right, I would definitely chose Park Grand again.

    « Excellent friendlymodern hotel »

I stayed in a double room (112) and it was very modern, comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfy, along with very good pillows. The lighting and furnishing in the room were both extremely modern I black and white, looked sleek. The facilities in the en-suite were very clean, and modern with excellent water pressure in the shower. The breakfasts in the restaurant were very good value, with a good variety of items. Very clean with excellent service, the staff were very attentive to their customers. The reception staff were also very helpful and checking in, and out was very efficient and quick. Also there had been earlier comments about the car parking being very limited I did not find it a problem although they charge you ten pound a day to park there. However it is best to arrive during the morning/afternoon to make sure you find a place. I would highly recommend this hotel to others!

« Super staff and great sleep »

easy access, limited making but got in. Breakfast was fine, following a good nights sleep in the very clean and effective room. Wifi is free and wrks really well even streaming. Front of house staff very efficient and I will be back again. But beware being close to the airport you do start hearing planes after around 630

    « Very comfortable hotel »

All in all a very pleasant stay at an excellent price. I travel a lot for business and couldn't book into my normal group of hotels, so booked this chain for the first time. The reception team were efficient and helpful at both checking in and departure. The room was spotless, of a reasonable size with a large comfortable bed and with other good facilities.the bathroom was of average size yet with an extra large bath, and the added luxury of a heated floor. The dinner option of world buffet which I chose was very good quality and a very reasonable cost, and again the breafast buffet was more than adequate. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely be using it again in the near future.

    « Mystery boutique hotel »

A very comfortable hotel hidden away in a thoroughly unpopular location. Rooms are well fitted out and very comfortable. Breakfast selection is a little unimaginative, but they try very hard at dinner, and the buffet is good value and very well done. I'd be happy to stay here again.

« Very nice, friendly place to stay »

I am a business traveller and regularly stay here. The team on reception, people like Evelyn and the night/early morning guys like Steve and Elidio, are extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Nick and the team in the restaurant are always smiling and the food is excellent, filling and the choice is always changing. The rooms are modern, clean and well presented. I would recommend this hotel

    3
« Good Hotel But Very Soft Beds »

I have stayed here before several times and when I mentioned the soft beds on check out and was told last time if I turned to mattress over it would be firm so I was looking to stay again as I really like the staff, fantastic buffet and everything about this hotel. But was so disappointed to find even after turning the mattress over myself it was still soft. What does not help is the bed base is also soft, so after a short time on the bed I decided the floor was going to best to sleep on. Really for people such as myself firm beds are really important and I do not have problems at Premier Inns or Ibis Hotels and as I stay in hotels each week for work have had experience of knowing the difference Also its not about an expensive bed or wooden mattress but its a firm one. Really a shame for me as I say everything else is really good about here and if you like a soft bed this hotel would be perfect for you.

    « Good Overnight For A Flight »

Close to the airport this is a good nearby choice for a place prior to an early morning flight. Rooms are comfortable and modern. Shower has high pressure something missed in so many hotels. Restaurant is OK with a buffet of different cuisines. Did not see any places nearby so plan accordingly. Staff is friendly service level is average.

    1
    « Stay in London »

The rooms are horrible. I would not stay at this hotel again ever. Their are no restaurants nearby and the restaurant at the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. It is billed as a Best Western Plus, but it is not, in my opinion.

« Ok but poor facilities »

I stayed here with my partner to get away from it all for a couple nights and booked via a travel agent website-when i arrived they couldnt find my booking and we had to wait almost 20 minutes for them to find it after having to email the management my booking references The room was very clean and nice, although on the small side. They provided some toiletries but its best to bring your own as they were small On my first night it was only 11pm and as wed arrived late i was hungry and i noticed a room service menu, i called several times with no answer and i was then called back only to be told abruptly that the restaurant is closed even though the menu clearly displayed a night menu for room service. considering the hotels location i would have expected a 24 hour room service-especially for a four star hotel and that there was nothing to eat around the hotel except for a local petrol garage where i went and bought some crisps My partner went downstairs by reception twice to have a ciggarette and on each occasion he was questioned as to what he was doing in the hotel and if he is a guest.. The two bottles of complimentary water were not replenished the next day The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk alongside a fast dual carriageway or two bus stops from Osterley station-the walk may not be suitable for those less mobile so i suggest waiting on the bus The hotel is approx 5 tube stops from heathrow airport so bare this in mind-it shouldnt take long by taxi however, there are closer hotels to the airport. Its a nice compact hotel but i wouldnt stay here again. The breakfast was extremley expensive

« warm welcome, comfy beds, nice hotel »

Staying just the one night with my son, The welcome from the reception was warm and attentive, the room was spacious and comfortable. A highlight for my son was the buffet with a great assortment of dishes from different cuisines. The free wifi worked well on our newer devices but was difficult to access from the older ones.

    « Greatly improved. »

We stayed here in October for the World cup and were not happy. This time it was very much improved. Razvan on reception was lovely, very helpful, happy and smiley. The hotel was very busy with Rugby fans but the staff were very efficient. Mandar organized the taxis and everyone seemed to get away easily. In the evening Oksana on the bar was friendly and helpful. The room was great if a little small and the bathroom clean and well stocked with goodies. The shower was very, very hot! We had a good night's sleep. This hotel has really pulled it's socks up and whatever Mandar has done with his staff is working well. Keep up the good work!!

    « Deception »

I carried out a search on Trip Advisor for a room for the night of the 27 February 2016, i booked and paid for the room in advance. When i arrived at the Hotel, they told me that my reservation had been for a day time stay, which was clearly not the case as on the reservation it stated check in on the 27th, leaving on the 28th! I have been charged for a room that i never stepped foot in and i was not alone, while at reception, other guests tried to check-in with the same issue. It appeared to me that we had booked in advance, before they realised there was a rugby international and could charge a lot more for the rooms. There confirmation was misleading, to say the least and i would not recommend anyone to stay there.

Had a great time. Staff were wonderful on our visit for the six nations game against Ireland. At reception Razvan was a great help. He organised a taxi share and was an excellent host. Indian Buffet in the evening was great. After a long day out in London and twickenham it was just what we needed Room was lovely too. Many thanks

    « Excellent »

Stayed here, one night. Arrived late and car park was jammers (only negative I could find). Reception staff were great and took time to find me a space (which I was so appreciative of). Room service - ordered curry - was huge and yummy. Can't fault hotel or service in any way (exc parking). Thank you. Would stay again.

    « Modern Room »

This Best Western is modern and bedrooms fresh. Free wi fi in room. Parking limited and busy and you are charged extra £10. Breakfast very good. Big let down for me is as a light sleeper, you can hear other doors slamming shut in the night and people walking around in the room above yours in middle of night. Overall modern hotel but I didn't get a good nights sleep due to hearing noises.

« Comfortable and Friendly Hotel close to Heathrow »

Working at Heathrow provides a number of challenges regarding room rental. Most are very expensive. I found the rate at Best Western Plus Park Grand - London Heathrow to be fairly reasonable at 78 pounds for the night. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and my room was a good size and well equipped for a London Hotel. My only complaint - and this is certainly a London issue for sure - is the lack of parking. There are only 33 parking spaces for a hotel with 122 rooms. After a pretty stressful drive to get there, finding a place to park was very challenging indeed. My suggestion would be to not take a car here - take the train and then a cab. Much saner way to do it.

    « Great Find »

We were very happy with the hotel and our room. It was all very nice, tidy and clean. Looked very posh for the price paid. There was complimentary water, tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. It had a safe for extra security. Very nice bathroom and the best shower I've ever had. Extremely comfortable bed. Will definitely be choosing this hotel again when I next return to London.

    « Very nice stay »

Hotel staff was extremely friendly. They were able to help with the printing of our boarding passes and called us a taxi in the morning. Hotel lobby was very nice with bar and restaurant attached. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also large and the shower was great! Hotel was located close to the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

« Nearly 4 stars, but still great value for money if you like small rooms »

Started new job in Brentford, so I was looking for cheap hotel at the last minute. Found this hotel via Hotels.com at a very reasonable price, less than £57 per night for 4 nights for 1st booking and £64 per night for 2nd, both without breakfast. Room was a single, so a little small, although the first room's layout was very habitable, the 2nd less so as it had a great big pillar at one end near the window. Room had all mod cons apart from hair dryer and iron. Located on the main bath road and travelling on the H91 bus was perfect, but other public transport available not too far away. I didn't sample the restaurant, but it looked popular in the evenings with a good atmosphere. No great restaurants near by, so good food may be an issue. 2 gripes turned the 4 start into 3. Firstly: every time I reached my room the room key had somehow de-activated itself, this wouldn't have been too bad, but as I was on the 6th floor it became a pain going up and down in the lift. Don't make this mistake when dying for the toilet :-( Secondly: the second room's bed was rubbish, the edge of the bed cut into your legs (springs broken or filling missing), the linen didn't fit properly and there was only 1 pillow (1st room had two) plus a massive pillar (don't get confused with "pillow") restricting even more access. So if you want a cheap, functional hotel near Heathrow and on the bath road, but like living in slightly cramped quarters and like travelling up and down in a lift, then this is the place for you. Oh, I forgot to mention, they also provided nice biscuits on the first day and if you were lucky sometimes on another day!

« Decent hotel - nice rooms and good breakfast »

5 minute walk from Osterley tube station, good connectivity via Great West Road and Underground, this hotel is great for anyone staying in West London. Rooms are nice, big power shower and nice decor. Stay here on business regularly and it's one of the better hotels I've stayed in.

« Pricey hotel but very modern. »

Clean and sleek rooms. A bit pricey for its location. The bed was really comfortable. The shower was amazing it had a rain shower. It looks really new and modern. Best western hotels are usually good anyway so I'm pleased. I'm not sure about the customer service I guess it was ok if not poor. Asked for extra duvet as we spilt drink on the one we had and extra towels but they said they didn't have any lol what a joke.

« excellent, and not just for the price »

thought i was booking into an "adequate" hotel. not least because it was only 110 GBP for 2 nights. room was ideal for me. far more than i expected for that money. underfloor heating in bathroom was a very nice surprise after leaving the "rain" type shower. no dramas at all. 2nd floor room facing main road. quiet with full black out curtains. shops within very easy walking distance. cab to heathrow T3.. 10 Mins.

    « Plane Spotters Paradise »

What a great room and superb power shower. Very clean and great bed. The only criticism I have is one of the waitresses in the restaurant didn't understand English very well at all. It didn't spoil the stay and she was still very pleasant. Reading another review that said it looked down-market and dreary I have to say I don't agree, that's a little harsh. I am a keen plane watcher so my view was just wonderful. Very happy to say I will be staying at this hotel again.

    « Lovely stay »

Really impressed with the room we stayed in, very comfortable bed and lovely deep bath :-) could have stayed for weeks! Staff at breakfast were not great at customer service, didn't know when we arrived. Didn't offer tea or coffee. It just just after 9 and they were more concentrating on packing away rather than stocking up on items that were empty. Really slow to bring out tea when eventually got to us. Took a pre auth without notification and before cancellation period even tho booking said no deposit. I was amazed how quiet the hotel was. Despite the few issues, the stay and hotel were lovely and I'd definitely stay away.

    4
    « Don't judge it by it's looks »

It looks downmarket, dreary reception, outdated bar and restaurant. It's actually a converted office block, so it's not pretty outside ! But the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable and the bathrooms are excellent. The staff are all very polite and helpful. A wolf in sheep's clothing. Well done ..

    « Very nice stay »

Excellent hotel. Fairly close to Heathrow airport. My room was small (but sufficient for one person) and very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The highlight was the shower, which again was perfectly clean (which I expect) but also really big and high. In most hotels I have to put the showerhead into the highest position and still have to crouch a little bit, here I actually had to stretch to reach up and pull the showerhead down. Very good. Also the hotel restaurant is highly recommendable. Very good service. I had the buffet, which is very good value for money. It was leaning a bit towards Indian cuisine, which I like. If you don't maybe this place isn't for you or you have to look at the menu, which I didn't really. All in all I had an enjoyable stay and would recommend the hotel without reservations.

« Yet another excellent stay at this hotel »

Just as stated in my previous review of this hotel, I returned here with my better half in November 2015 and we were not surprised... Everything was just as perfect as we remembered from our previous stay :) This hotel remains simply my personal best for trips to London (we travel to London several times a year doing business), conveniently located between Heathrow airport and London. Taxi fare is rather cheap (last time we paid like...GBP 10?), a subway station (Piccadilly line) no more than 1000 m from the hotel (which to me is an advantage, because I have to actually walk a bit, rather than avoid moving altogether). Service is as good as I remember - I especially would like to thank Roksana who took care of us at the restaurant practically every day (whom turned out to not only to be incredibly helpful, but also spoke Polish and Ukrainian, aside from perfect English, yay!) and who had much patience towards many difficult guests (not us, hopefully). All in all, I once again maintain that Best Western PLUS Park Grand London Heathrow is THE hotel to go to when traveling between Heathrow and London. Very good value for money, indeed.

    « Lovely quiet rooms »

This was our last night together as a Family with one daughter travelling back to Australia, one to London and us to Spain.Thank you for giving us 2 lovely rooms down the end of a corridor opposite each other. It allowed us to open our doors and chat and pack at the same time. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed . Very friendly helpful staff and parking was easy enough thankfully as we had loads of luggage. We had dinner in the restaurant it was basic but adequate after 2 weeks of eating and drinking far too much. My Family enjoyed the breakfast getting eggs cooked to their liking. Checking out at 12 was very convenient. I thought this Hotel was excellent value for money and well located for those needing to near Heathrow.

    « Modern »

Stayed here for a work trip, quick overnight stay. The hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms are not big, but modern. Pretty typical for Heathrow airport hotels, but certainly not the best equipped and quite far if you want the airport as the traffic in the area can be very bad.

    « Terrible »

We arrived at this hotel for one night before flying out to Thailand. Rooms were lovely very clean and comfortable. We went down for drinks and something to eat in the evening. Considering we were the only four in the restaurant and bar the staff were very slow and didn't remember what we had order to drink and had to be told three times. When we sat down to eat we ordered asparagus with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce to start. It came out with no hollandaise sauce but scrambled egg when we asked the waiter why he just smiled and went off to the kitchen and then didn't come back to tell us why untill we asked him later again why there was no hollandaise sauce and he replied the chef had forgot. So for main my boyfriend and stepdad ordered lamb chops, mash and vegetables in a red wine sauce. The lamb chops were cooked just right but instead of red wine sauce they just put mint sauce out the tub all over the mash which was far to strong for anyone to eat. My mum order and sirloin steak and asked for it to medium rare it came well done and it was more like a frying steak then sirloin steak and was just gristle so we had that taken off the bill because it was no at all worth the £17.00 that they were selling it for. When asked about the red wine sauce they said quite rudely that red wine sauce was not on the menu so when we had a look it had no mention of mint sauce only red wine sauce. Wouldn't recommend

    « Good hotel closed to Heathrow/London »

Overall this is s great little hotel with comfortable rooms for a reasonable price. The staff were friendly & polite & the service was good. The only negative point was the £10 charge for parking, when the car park was pretty empty, so we moved our car in to the street opposite as it was a Saturday night where on street parking is free after 9pm on a Saturday & all day Sunday, so not a big drama. We would stay again.

    « Decent Hotel »

The room was clean, well presented and overall very nice. The Staff was far from friendly, at check in I was greeted with a cold "yes please", I hold the door for a staff member who could not be bothered to say thank you. When entering the lift the staff also could not be bothered to greet guests. At checkout I asked for the invoice and was presented with a faint print, it was impossible to read my name and the price. In essence the hotel is very nice but the staff could use a quick etiquette 101 course and pay more attention to detail

    « Good Value Heathrow/London Location »

Modern hotel with clean and reasonably sized rooms at a good price. Parking is limited (10 pounds per night charge) but I had no problem finding a space. Osterley tube station (piccadily line) is 10 minutes walk from the hotel with trains straight to LHR and to central London. I didn't eat in the hotel. there are a few restaurants/take-aways nearby but not much else. Staff were pleasant and check-in was quick and straightforward. I'd stay here again for sure. It's well placed for getting to the airport and if you don't mind the 40 minute tube journey into central London then you'll make significant savings on room cost compared to staying in the centre.

« Good room, Ok Hotel, Bad experience. »

Stayed here for one night only as we had an early flight in the morning. The rooms are actually good considering the location of the hotel and its purpose, the bed was in perfect condition and the bathroom was spotless. Our 2 year old daughter was with us and she had a little cot bed that did the job for the night. The negative review is related to the terrible service that they provide. I booked a room with breakfast as we would leave early in the morning and wanted to avoid the abusive Heathrow F&B prices and i specifically wrote in my booking notes that i wanted breakfast to be served in the room. Upon arrival, I was told by the receptionist that breakfast is served only from 7am and the most they can offer is a take away box - sure that's going to work when you need to carry bags for an international flight and have a toddler with you. I asked for a refund as there was quite an overcharge for the breakfast to be included and I was told that i had to write a formal complain as people at reception are not authorized to process refunds. So far I haven't heard back from them, utterly disappointing.

    « Value for Money »

This hotel has an excellent location as this is near to the airport and is near to two metro stations. Everything is nearby and the food offered at the hotel is very good including Indian cuisine. The staff is very courteous and friendly. It is really offering value for your money.

    « Excellent Value »

Great value hotel being close to LHR. Friendly staff, modern rooms, comfortable and quiet. Limited parking but I had no problem getting a space. Excellent value all round. Rooms are clean and modern as this is a fairly new hotel as I was informed(not confirmed). Great for business or overnight prior to flights.

« Lovely hotel - improve customer service asap. »

This is a really nice hotel, we were very comfortable and its good that there's a choice of shower rooms or bathrooms, we prefer showers so this was a plus for us. The views from the top floor are even nice! It's just a shame about the service at this place otherwise it really would be worthy of its 4 star rating. The majority of staff need re-training. Upon checking in we were greeted by a man at the desk who made no effort to welcome us or even smile. There was also a mix-up where they had thought breakfast hadn't been paid for, so we were turned away from the breakfast desk until they sorted it out. During the night we had asked for some ice to be delivered to the room to have with our drinks, which is clearly stated as a service in the handbook. The staff member, Alidio (or something similar) tried to charge us £5! He refused to bring it up for us, so we didn't get it in the end. I was appalled that this would happen in a 4 star hotel. I would love to come back should they improve their customer service.

    « Airport Hotel »

We stayed here prior to returning to Dubai. The hotel is located close to tube stations 10 mistook either Hounslow central or Osterley. The hotel is just off the Great West Road however SatNav sent us this way but there was no entry from the main road. The diversion took 10 minutest drive round. The room was great, clean spacious and well equipped. The staff were very helpful and insisted they helped me with my bags. Well priced and convenient for the airport transfer in the morning (10 minutes to the terminal) by car. A definite wold stay again airport hotel.

    « Peaceful, comfortable stay »

The staff on reception went out of their way to ensure I had a quiet room. They are always polite, helpful and warm. The room was clean, well furnished and very comfortable. I have stayed a number of times and this is becoming my 'go to' hotel for overnight stays in London for work.

    « Very disappointed »

Two years ago my wife and I stayed here and called this hotel the gem of Heathrow. Two years later and now I must say I'm very dissatisfied. The rooms are starting to look a bit dated and the safes need replacing as they are not just difficult to use but impossible. We booked a deluxe double for 8 days that came with all the amenities, bathrobe, wine, fresh fruit, upgraded toiletries, etc. These were never replaced after the first day, yet I paid extra for that service. This is a nonsmoking hotel but I could smell smoke in the hallways and lifts. Someone tried to gain access to our room one night but as I looked through the peephole in the door the man was trying to cover it with his finger, needless to say, I didn't open the door. The restaurant has a buffet at night (and breakfast) and I suppose it represents good value but it's mainly Indian food (there are a Western dishes). This area is mainly represented by a large Indian and Polish population and all the restaurants in this area cater to that type of food. We've stayed at several Best Western Plus Hotels and have come to expect a certain standard and I'm truly sorry to say this hotel does not, in my opinion, meet that standard. On the positive, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. If we return to London I think we will stay at the Hilton Garden Inn at Hatton Cross (Heathrow).

« Best west of Heathrow »

Stayed one night for business and a meeting the following day. Bar was busy and a little slow but reception staff were excellent and the bedroom really high quality. Given the hotel is near Heathrow and on the A4 it is quiet and comfortable.

« Excellent but not perfect »

I hate reading reviews from reviewers who think it's an acceptable to leave a personal attack on an individual member of staff. We were checked in by that staff member... no, he didn't smile, yes, he sounds grumpy, no, he isn't going to flatter you, yes, he will only use the minimum number of words necessary. Also if you've read other reviews, the mini bar isn't empty, it's a fridge! A handy device to keep your own things cold! The car park has a one way system clockwise around the hotel that is charged at £10 for 24 hours. We stayed in a triple room with our two toddlers but chose not to have a cot as the youngest sleeps in a bed at home and shared our bed. The room happened to be a disabled access room so had plenty of space. The bed is far too high for someone with disabilities. I had to climb up as it must be almost 1m high. Being a new hotel it has a plenty of electrical sockets and others types too. A little annoyance for me is the lack of shelf space in the bathroom. The only shelf is already full with products and glasses. There's a weird magnetic closer on the drawers that cause them to bang shut. You can hear people in other rooms banging theirs too. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. We have allergies so they were happy to cook something for us (they were not busy). We had a late check out (free extra hour until 1pm if they're not busy) as my husband had a meeting locally and we had to wait for him to return. Housekeeping still knocked at 12:30 though.

« More than pleasantly surprised »

My party liked everything about the hotel; the rooms;beds etc. nothing negative to say about the hotel and accessibility. What prevented a five star rating was the parking which was a big issue and we had to park on a road a bit away from the hotel and walk with our luggage which was a bit of a pain.

    « Luxurious stay »

I booked this hotel at the last minute and was very surprised to get a bargain rate of £66 for the night. The hotel is walkable to/from hounslow east tube and on the main dual carriageway towards Heathrow. The entrance and check in was very good and quick. The hotel looked very new and modern and I was pleasantly surprised. Lift access and the corridors were good and easily found. On entering the my double room I was hit with luxury, lovely large bed fantastic large size tv and the general layout of the room was excellent. The bathroom continued lovely shower with 2 types of shower head one above you and another direct able. The toiletries were very high standard and many of them. What a super stay I had thoroughly enjoyed it.

    « Excellent Hotel »

Booked this for last minute business trip. Wasn't expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised at just how nice this hotel was. Room was very modern and very clean. Bathroom shower was very good and the staff were friendly. Also a big positive was the lack of noise, I was concerned that being directly under the Heathrow flight path, it would be noisy but this wasn't the case. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

« Quality hotel, friendly staff »

Only a one night stay but fabulous! Very nice room and bathroom, the bed was so comfortable. We took a taxi to Twickenham which for eight of us cost 40.00 GBP. The staff were welcoming, the breakfast plentiful and the buffet dinner great for 14.00 GBP. Did not visit immediate vicinity so cannot comment on the area.

« It does not live up to the name... »

Good location. Booked a double room. Very congested and a small room. Bed was awful. The mattress was poor quality and caved in when we slept. Uncomfortable night sleep. There is limited parking at the premises.

« Excellent Hotel for Heathrow Airport »

Stayed here for the night before our flight from Heathrow Airport. Great price for a lovely room. Very clean and quiet. Didn't hear a single plane despite proximity to airport. Very comfortable bed, nice crisp white linens and fluffy towels. Great shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Helped with luggage, and booked a taxi to take us to airport - fare about 20 quid.

« Comfortable bed and room but poor attention to detail »

Some aspects of this stay were great as bed was very comfortable and room was clean. However no information pack was provided to advise of facilities and breakfast and check out times. Second night no one replaced our biscuits or water in room and the one face cloth we'd had provided on 1st night had been removed. Saturday night was noisy as there were a lot of drunk wedding guests in hotel and some were playing with the lift buttons. However a helpful member of staff stepped in to remedy that for us.

« One night in London »

I booked myself and three colleagues in to the Park Grand Hotel. We had a great stay, close to the airport and very good amenities. Had Dinner and Breakfast, both were very well prepared. The room was very well appointed and the bed was the best we had to sleep on for this UK trip. Well done and would highly recommend this one you will see why.

« Very comfy beds but that's it. »

Our flight was cancelled and we were put up in the Park Grand. The receptionist wasn't in the slightest bit interested in us and barely looked at us to issue our room key. The room was fine and the bed was particularly comfortable. Nothing more to say, we won't be back.

    « Business stay »

This hotel was booked last minute for me by a client and I was impressed by the size of the rooms and luxury feel of the furnishings. The bed was very comfortable and the large walk-in rain shower hot and powerful. I dined in the hotel's restaurant with a colleague and had the buffet which, whilst varied, was not very hot and dessert was very disappointing - just cut up sponge cake, a bit of fresh fruit and a soft icecream machine. Unfortunately my sleep was disturbed twice by a very noisy couple in the room directly above mine who seemed to be enjoying each other's company immensely, especially the screaming lady who woke me up, twice.

« Horrible stay after landing from a long flight! »

This was the second time we stayed here and it most definitely did not live up to expectations! We arrived having traveled from dubai and did not fancy the long drive to East London so we decided to book in. For a start the hotel receptionist Razwan was the most rudest and unsympathetic man I have ever come across! Our one year old was exhausted, there was limited parking which was completely full, he abruptly pointed us to where we could park and when we asked for a refund he said no without any explanation! His attitude only changed when I said I wanted a complaints email and he tried to change his attitude. For a start this is simply not acceptable especially if your meant to be a four star hotel. You never speak to guests which such an attitude especially when all they have requested is some simple info. His manager then arrived and I explained his tone to her to which he again decided to be sharp with me. I calmly said to her that this is the first impression your staff give off and look at your four star hospitality. She then 'claimed' she had upgraded our room and it was a large room big enough for a baby cot. When we checked in by no means was it bigger that our first stay, instead of a bath there was a shower (how is this practical with a baby) the mini bar was not even stocked and when the baby cot arrived it was completely filthy. We checked in at 9.30pm and left at 6am just so we could get out of there as quick a possible! If you're not fussy then the stay is adequate otherwise don't waste your money and book into the Renaissance hotel down the road which is cheaper and a lot nicer (rooms, staff and service). I sincerely hope he sorts his attitude, God forbid Rawan that you ever have to travel with your family and are greeted by a receptionist like yourself! You are a Complete let down to the hotel!

« A good choice for the area »

I stayed for 3 nights. Free wired (and wireless) internet with good speed was a welcome surprise. A good clean hotel with rooms that compares well with the Premier Inn up the road at a similar price. Parking is a bit tight but the staff were very helpful in getting me parked on site when I arrived at 9.30pm. The other days I arrived at 4.30pm and there was loads of room.

    4
« Good hotel with easy access to heathrow. »

Nice clean hotel with all the required amenities, friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is the limited on site parking, which creates a two-fold problem. If you arrive late you will be lucky to find a place, if you do find a space, you are likely to be blocked in by another later arrival,

    3
    « Not 4 star. »

Although the rooms were very clean and well appointed some of the staff were quite miserable. We had booked a twin room and were given a double. I had rung beforehand to make sure it was a twin but no! Sorting out a twin room seemed to be difficult but they did do it. We stayed two nights and on the second day our beds were not made. I expected them at least to be straightened and tidied. The restaurant was like a school dining room. Not a 4 star restaurant. We only ate breakfasts there. We had other meals in the bar. Overall I was disappointed with the hotel. Had it been a 3 star I could have understood the quality.

    5
    « Modern & very comfortable »

Stayed for 1 night on a recent trip to Twickenham. Great easy location to meet, although parking is very limited. Great Guniness at the bar! The rooms are very modern & plush & the beds are extremely comfortable. Did not eat here so can't comment on the cuisine & there are plenty of local eateries which is what we used. Would highly recommend, & seemed to be used by lots of aircrews. It's on the main Heathrow flight path, but never heard anything

« Comfortable stay and helpful staff »

A nice, clean and comfortable hotel in a not-so-nice area... Parking was a slight headache but the staff were very helpful, and promised to give us a refund on the parking fee if we had to find parking elsewhere. The rooms weren't that spacious but I had one of the best night's sleep in a long time - the bed was so comfy and warm, and as it is close to the airport I guess they may have sound-proof windows as we heard no noise from outside. We had a lovely view of London from our room.

    « Feedback »

I am really pleased with the quality of service and hospitality which I got at Best Western Park, London, Heathrow. Staff is very good in addition to the service at hotel. I also want to appreciate the duty manager Mr. Gagan who has been the true host. One of the reason why I keep on traveling here very often and staying at this hotel is due to Mr. Gagan. Whenever any help, guidance he is always there. My best wishes.

« late arrival Heathrow good to be close ready next day »

I arrived after 10 pm and figured i could stay close to heathrow first night for reasons of convenience and price which has got RIDICULOUS in london...prices are IMMORAL frankly all over London. This one does not have a shuttle at it cost me 16 pounds to get there which is NOT good but accommodation was very good..great bed and lighting etc..friendly concierge to welcome which after long flight is good and not always like that in london

Super helpfull staff and the manager was a great help. I had bought my wife a gift from Amazon which I needed to get sent to the hotel and I was worried no one would sign for it. « Very Solid Choice »

Stayed 1 night between international flights. Overall a very satisfying property for this type of stay. Rooms were medium size and are very well decorated. Large floor to ceiling windows give the room a more open feel although there's not much of a view, busy roads, close in buildings and parking lot. Big bed with comfortable bedding. Small, but again very well designed, bathroom. No tub but enclosed glass shower is functional, large, and attractive. Breakfast was convenient and decent value. Hotel is quite up to date and has much more of a contemporary feel than surrounding neighborhoods and business. Convenient if you have a car or taxi. The only downside was I had to use the tube and the walk was a bit longer than I cared for, about 10 minutes on a decent sidewalk . Would be miserable in bad weather or trying to manage large or unwheeled baggage or kids. Overall good stay and good value. I'd certainly recommend and stay again.

I liked the very pleasant room and the little extras like bottled water and biscuits. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. « "Stayed before and will stay again" »

We have been to this hotel now on a few occasions mainly for the rugby at Twickenham. The walk is just over two miles and only takes around 40 minutes. The hotel has never disappointed us, the staff are friendly and always helpful. The hotel is clean and the food is great.

    2
« Slept well, but wouldn't book again »

The good things about this hotel: The room was clean. The staff were friendly. I slept pretty well. It's only a 45-minute walk through winding residential roads to get to Twickenham Stadium (that's about the same amount of time you'd wait for the shuttle bus when leaving the stadium anyway) and a 15-minute walk right down the street to a Tube station. Other than that, I was disappointed in this hotel from start to finish: * I booked through the hotel's website, entering all requested information (including credit card), and received a confirmation email of a successful booking. I thought I was good to go. But the next morning I got an email referencing the wrong hotel name ("Park Grand London Hyde Park" instead of "Park Grand London Heathrow") in which they threatened: "Please be advised that the credit card details you have provided for this reservation are invalid. We request to provide us with a valid card's details within the next 24 hours to keep your reservation active or we would have to release the room." So, I scrambled to make an international call to sort things out and to verify that they hadn't switched me to a different Park Grand property (fortunately they hadn't) or cancelled the reservation. According to the operator I called, they hadn't saved the credit card number that I entered while booking; it was simply blank in their records. * I booked the "Rugby World Cup Fever 1" package, six weeks in advance of my stay, and at higher expense than the best-available rate. The package was supposed to include a "Complimentary Rugby World Cup Sponge Ball" and "One Complimentary Drink per person on arrival." I specifically picked this hotel over other options because I was looking forward to the sponge ball as a souvenir of my trip to watch the World Cup. But when I arrived there were no sponge balls available. (And no complimentary drink was offered during check-in.) To their credit, when I inquired later in the evening about the sponge ball they apologized and sent a small bottle of wine to my room. But, at the risk of sounding like a whiny 6-year-old, I would much have rather received the thing that I'd specifically booked in advance through their website. * The towels in the room had frayed edges. The rainfall shower head was nice but the nozzles needed cleaning, so the water jetted out in multiple directions instead of coming straight down. One of the two exterior windows on our room was cracked across the entire horizontal length of the window. (It was the outside pane of a multi-paned window, so there was at least no risk of us getting cut.) The hotel is right underneath one of the landing flight paths to Heathrow, so my roommate was woken up several times (though I was not). * The breakfast buffet had reasonable selection but ordinary taste, and I was disappointed that there are fairly steep extra charges for the "a la carte" items on their breakfast menu such as french toast or made-to-order eggs with toast. * The hotel does not offer shuttle service to either the Tube or to Heathrow. It took us 35 minutes to get from the hotel to the the Terminal 3/4/5 station (via the Hounslow East station) -- that's reasonable time, but not nearly as fast as I would expect given the word "Heathrow" in the hotel's name. None of these problems are terrible, and to reiterate I did sleep pretty well. But given the problems plus the price for the room (higher than usual due to the rugby game that night) I feel I didn't get good value for the money, so I wouldn't book again.

    « Rugby Weekend »

We booked this hotel as it was within walking distance of Twickenham Rugby Stadium, as we had tickets for the Rugby World Cup (England & Wales)(England & Australia). The hotel is very welcoming, staff very pleasant,, breakfast very nice (possibly a little pricey), but when you are on a weekend away, you have these little treats. The only draw back is that the hotel has limited parking, it is on a first come first served basis. As we arrived just after 12.30 we were fortunate and managed to at the front of the hotel, however, there is a carpark nearby.

    « Back Again »

I have stayed here before and it was a really great deal on lastminute.com and when I arrived I was upgraded to a double room and my reservation included breakfast so you would not get this deal easily in other hotels. The rooms are small but modern and very well decorated and comfortable with really good free internet. The bed was again too soft for me and on checkout I asked about this and was told they normally turn the mattress over as one side is more firm so I will definitely ask for this next time. It's not the easiest hotel to get to as it's not on the hopper bus route and the nearest tube station is about a 15 minute walk. But there is Uber and will try that next time. It has a great Indian Buffet which this time I got in too late but for the evening meal I recommend this The staff are very friendly on the reception and restaurant and could not help enough from helping me print some papers and of course the upgrade I would say a very pleasant stay and would stay here again

    « Better than average »

I would have rated this somewhere between average and very good - 3.5 stars! I stayed here on two occasions in September with mixed views. The first time was in a single room. The design of the rooms is very contemporary, with a smart en suite. The large rainfall shower was the highlight, the low lights was the toilet that returned effluent after a while and a cracked window. The second visit I had a twin room, which felt much less claustrophobic, but again there were niggly little issues. For instance, the light in the lobby would flash on for a millisecond before flashing off again. As I was only staying the one night, I didn't bother reporting them. The rooms both had good sized TV's, very comfortable beds and extensive coffee/tea making facilities with a selection of good quality biscuits. You also get 2 x bottles of complimentary water, which is a nice touch. There is a lobby bar which is a little soulless. The bar staff are Ok but not over friendly and the bar menu is very limited - for me this was the biggest let down. The surrounding area is not exactly inviting and as many of the customers must be on stop overs from Heathrow, one would think the Hotel would try its best to get them to eat in house? Perhaps they feel the buffet restaurant opposite the bar is enough, but it wasn't enough to tempt me. On my 2nd visit I drove to Twickenham to eat! There is limited parking in very tight spaces available - but this is at an extra £10 per night. Make sure you factor this in if you're driving. I would stay there again, but my underlying feeling is that they are not really trying hard enough.
