Best Western Premier The Central Hotel & Conference Center

I stayed here 2 nights for a conference at the Farm Show Complex. Room was clean and comfortable. Had fresh towels and garbage removed after 1st night, although you can choose not to. Complimentary bottle of water was also replaced (not an amenity at most hotels!) Friendly staff and atmosphere at the connected restaurant. Jared was a great bartender and very personable. Grocery store, Panera, Burger King, drug store (24 hour) and Wine/Spirits shop within walking distance. I would have rated 4/5 (if my family was with me) because the room was on the back of the hotel where the traffic from the Capital Beltway could be heard all night. If you are a light sleeper, this could definitely change your feelings about the experience. I sleep terrible in hotels anyway, so it wasn't a problem so much for me. My friend stayed on the 1st floor and had a room that opened directly to the indoor pool. Nice if you are staying with kids! The doors to the pool were dead bolted at 10pm when the pool closed, so no fear of sleep walkers or kids getting to the pool after hours. Drive to the Farm Show Complex was easy and took about 10-15 minutes depending on lights.

I don't travel often, but a conference in the area prompted me to stay, and I chose Best Wester Premier - just wanting a clean and quiet place to crash for a few nights. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of my stay and the friendliness of the staff. These are things everyone wants, but I was really impressed with everything feeling above and beyond during my short stay. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and had modern elements that were great. I'm trying to find an excuse to go back soon! Thank you Best Western Premier for a great experience - highly recommend!

My husband and I have stayed here several times and will return next time we're passing through. The staff is welcoming, the beds are comfortable, the hotel is clean and well cared for. The fitness center is small but the pool is large, warm and in a lovely airy atrium. Overall it's a great value and a lovely stay.

This is a very nice hotel with a popular Irish pub restaurant. It is very clean with comfortable beds and pillows. The room is very large with a couch and desk It is accessible from the highways and seems to be popular for conventions etc. The staff is very accommodating.

Okay so my name is Max and I do live in Harrisburg PA this hotel is also located in Harrisburg but is a great escape from any stressors in your life it has a great community a great staff a great behind the scenes housekeeping. The restaurant O'Reilly's next door is rated one of the top 10 in Harrisburg. I have stayed at this hotel now for the for like 7 days total different times just to get a way from my home life for a little bit and all I have to say is great things about this place the staff Stephanie especially it's amazing who runs the front, Peter who is one of the top guys there I'm the owner who is a female I heard she is amazing everybody you meet and everybody you engage conversation with is amazing I hope everybody gets to enjoy a night or two at least at this hotel and experience the great and spectacular things I've experienced and so I have my friends. No matter what kind of day you're having your day will be just that much better staying here at this hotel Like I said it it's one of the best and I've stayed at many.

Great hotel for a conference. We never even had to leave the property. The staff was friendly the rooms were clean and the food was fantastic. It was also conveniently located to shops and the highway.

We had an amazing time at The Central Hotel! This was our second time at the hotel, and we absolutely loved everything about it! It's been about a year since we were there for the first time, and when we returned last week, everything was just as amazing as our first time there. Special thanks to the gentleman at the front desk that helped us check-in at around 10:30pm on 03/01/24! He was so nice, and it was a true pleasure seeing him again! We will definitely be staying here again next time we stop by to visit our family in Harrisburg!

What a treat is was to stay at the Best Western Central Hotel!! After two days driving up from Florida back to the northeast the Central Hotel was a welcoming oasis of comfort. The lobby is stunning. The decor made me smile after all the drab highway views. It was an easy check in with the friendly desk staff. We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening in the hotel enjoying their beautiful pool and on location restaurant. How nice not to have to get into the car again! The room was delightful; modern, super clean and plenty of room to settle in. A great stay. We will be back.

I love this hotel and stay here whenever I'm in Harrisburg. The staff are friendly and happy. The hotel is quiet at night. The restaurant is great and having it there is a definite bonus. The conference spaces are wonderful. And I love the lobby. It's all brick and quite pretty.

The hotel was wonderful. It far exceed any expectations I had for the Best Western brand. Clean, renovated rooms, beautiful lobby, helpful staff, and an excellent on-site Irish pub/restaurant. The pool and gym looked nice although we didn't use either. Breakfast and dinner were very good. We'll be back!

Convenient location for shopping, wine, swimming for fun or leisure, and food for many options inside and outside. The staff were above and beyond with awesome attitudes and great help and the rooms were to perfection and beautiful atmosphere!!!!! Loved the rooms connected to pool area. Great to keep an eye on the kiddos!!!!

The facility was very clean. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. And there was a restaurant attached which was great. Location was a bit off main highway so it was nice and quiet but not too far away.

The hotel rooms have all been nicely renovated...it is really very nice! Bathrooms are updated as well...brightly lit and very clean! The hotel itself is clean, well managed, and has friendly helpful staff. I have stayed here multiple times for many years - always a good experience. There is a restaurant on sight which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. 24 hr fitness room. Large indoor swimming pool for family fun. Highly recommended! Close to Hershey Park, Farm Show Complex and many Harrisburg attractions.

We have stayed here previously and we always have a good time. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was super comfy. We love that there is a restaurant and bar in the hotel. The Nachos and breakfast were great.

I just held my daughter's wedding at the Central Hotel. The venue was perfect! The staff amazing! This is the perfect location to host a wedding. Jessica D. was easy to work with while planning and also during the event, every staff member was professional and kind, the newly renovated rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atrium made for the most beautiful cocktail hour and back drop for the wedding photos. Having the restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and into the night made it easy for all the guests to stay on sight and not have to worry about driving. I simply can not say enough good things about our experience with the Best Western Central Hotel.

We really enjoyed having the family suite was two separate bedrooms. both sleeping areas were spacious, the room was great to sleep in as it was dark and very comfortable and clean. The price was very reasonable for such a nice place and I will definitely choose best western for my next stay if there is availability.

The staff in every capacity were very friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel overall was clean and has an inviting atmosphere. The location of the hotel is easy to access and there is plenty of parking space.

We were in town for the Hershey RV Show and stayed 3 nights. Location was convenient to the show as well as the airport. Everything was great. Friendly and attentive staff, clean and updated room and a great restaurant. Were even able to get a ride back to the airport on day of departure. Thanks to the entire staff. This place takes great care of their customers. Especially service members. Highly recommend this hotel. I was here for a Military Ball and the service was amazing. This place outdid themselves and exceeded expectations.

Staff was courteous, kind, and very helpful. Everyone went Above and Beyond to ensure my comfort. It was very refreshing especially after traveling to get through check in and to a clean room. Relax and enjoy a restful night from a comfortable bed and environment.

The hotel was beautiful. Love the bathroom light, it was light a giant ring light! Rooms very clean and comfortable. The hotel was clean with friendly staff! Will definitely return for future business trips. Feels like a 5 star hotel!

We had a great stay at the Best Western Premier Central Hotel. The room was clean and recently updated. The beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We paid extra for the early bird breakfast special in the restaurant which was a great deal. Eggs and pancakes were all prepared to order.

A good first hotel for me to experience as this trip was my first couples trip. The area was nice and the amenities made the stay very relaxing and fun. Convenience stores were nearby for any quick shopping trips and Hershey was not too far away. The price was actually very affordable for a college student! Would stay again.

From the minute you oen the front door, you are welcomed and feel the hospitality. The lobby is gorgeous with interior wood and gorgeous lighting! The fron desk staff was friendly and accommodating. They even gave kids a token for free ice cream! Our room was gorgeous and modern looking! The hotel had done a complete renovation a few months prior. We had the family suite and it was one of the biggest suites I have ever had! There is an open room with 2 queen beds and then a separate bedroom with a king bed and a door. If you need room for your whole family, I would recommend booking this room. The food at O'Reilly's is delicious! They catered our wedding reception. Everyone commented on how great the food was! Try the horseradish infused duchess potatoes - insanely delicious.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The 2 bedroom suite was designed nicely with a lot of room. They recently underwent a renovation, so our room was very clean and modern. The rooms have smart TVs if you have kids who enjoy Nickelodeon etc... They also have a pool of good size and game room. My kids loved the pool and went in every night. Plus there's an on premises restaurant and the food is very good! There are lots of stores and restaurants close by too if you want to venture out a bit. Cleanliness is a BIG deal for me when I stay at a hotel and they delivered. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel was very clean, accommodated my dog. They have a pool, the staff were pleasant. Just bring your own food/breakfast if you are on a budget. They have a microwave and refrigerator. Rooms aren't sound proof though.

We stayed at the Best Western Premier, the Central Hotel for a family funeral and from start to finish the Best Western team was amazing to work with from sorting out the hotel block of rooms to the check in process. The hotel is very clean and modern rooms are a good size and the location was perfect. The restaurant O'Reilly's was really good with great food and staff as well.

My family and 4 of our close family friends stayed at the Best Western Premier in Harrisburg. We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping, restaurants, sit down and fast-food. It was also close to Hershey which was our purpose for staying there. Jose from the front desk was very hospitable and accommodating. The rooms were a nice size, clean and updated. The pool was also a nice size and was not crowded while we were there. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nicely remodeled hotel. We ended with a pool view room, kids (5,6,9) thought it was pretty cool. The chlorine smell was strong. So if you are sensitive to smell, you may want room away from the pool.

Spotless, newly renovated, nice restaurant attached. We got the breakfast rate which included bee off the menu at the attached restaurant, O'Reilly's. Clean room, quiet hotel and there are quiet hours after 10. Mike and all customer service staff helpful. Housekeeping sweet and friendly. $50 tickets available at desk for Hershey Park. New tv's had an alert that came up every time someone got on their phone, which the hotel can probably adjust at some point. Otherwise 5 stars!

This recently renovated Hotel is beautuful. The lobby area, restaurant/ bar and rooms are wonderful! The room was large, clean and tastefully decorated. It is convienient to highways, restaurants, gas stations and the National Civil War Museum ,as well as downtown Harrisburg. Our organization has already decided to hold our statewide conferences and meetings there in the future. Free parking and a breakfast special as well as a great Happy Hour round out the plusses for this hotel!

My room was clean and comfortable. I especially appreciate the amenity 'extras' like free parking, MW, refrigerator, and complimentary water!! Gratefully, our meeting room was set up with tables/chairs. Our group of retired educators has decided to return for future meetings!

We stayed here for two nights, while visiting Hershey park with our young children. It was our first time staying at this hotel, and we could not have been more pleased with our decision. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. The room with spacious and very clean. We ate at the hotel restaurant twice and enjoyed both of our meals. It was an easy 20 minute drive to the park. We will surely be back!

We came into town with a rather large group which included many kids. Front desk staff were very accommodating, patient with requests, and super friendly as well as the restaurant servers and bartenders. We all felt very comfortable with our stay and would 100% stay again if we come back into town.

Charged twice for bacon included in the price of a pancake breakfast. The staff forgot to bring it and when I told them they charged the same bacon as a side order. Essentially committed fraud. Also failed to include egg in a Cobb salad for which I had to ask and failing to provide what clearly was not an extra portion of onions The fitness center equipment was poor quality and out dated.

Great service. Updated and clean hotel. Very comfortable to stay, Anything you needed they were able to accommodate. There for a conference and facility was wonderful. Staff were wonderful. definitely would stay again. Highly recommend. great location.

This is a very nice and well run hotel. We stayed one night with our dog. The room was modern and super clean. The staff were helpful and efficient. We were pleasantly surprised. It's also super family friendly. If you're visiting Hershey with the family, this is a great option.

I would give the staff 100 stars if I could. They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! The free shuttle to the airport or train was easy to schedule and the driver was so nice! The front desk staff were polite and helpful! The room was spacious and clean. The housekeeping staff were prompt, friendly and accommodating. We saw staff constantly ensuring all public spaces were spotless. The food at O'Reilly's was excellent and the staff were welcoming and professional. It's a great place to bring the family! Close to Hershey Park and clean and safe. We truly had an amazing stay!

From making the reservation, to check-in, to room cleanliness, everything was great. The pool was well maintained. We had a poolside room and appreciated the new safety feature of an "alarm" that sounds when the door to the pool is opened. Staff is extremely courteous and helpful.

This hotel is very, very, very well maintained. The staff is exceptional and they ensure you have a great stay. Every question, I asked they answered. They took very good care of me. So I am going back next week.

We have stayed at a few name brand hotels in a number of cities over the past few years and have been greatly disappointed. The facilities seemed run down, common areas not cleaned and evidence of overall poor maintenance. This recent stay at the Best Western Premier Central hotel in Harrisburg, PA renewed our faith that someone out there knows the importance of developing and maintaining high standards. We were extremely pleased with the hotel appearence, maintenace, cleanliness and the pleasant attentiveness of the staff. We found our room to be clean and comfortable and enjoyed the indoor pool. We had our meals at the on-site restaurant (O'Reilly's) and found the food and service there to be excellent, as well. This was the best hotel overnight experience we have had in quite a few years...well done!

My daughter and I have been staying with these folks for at least 8 years. We go to Hershey multiple days each summer and this is our hotel. New renovations are fantastic. Hotel management and staff are awesome. Can't say enough good things about it.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night and it was newly renovated, the rooms were spotless, and the attached Pub (O'Reilly's) had amazing food. It was close to Harrisburg and Hershey and very convenient. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again in a minute!

Everything was fantastic!!! We had a fantastic stay. Upgraded rooms, plugs/USB ports all over the place! Mini Ridge, Microwave and TV was big. We LOVED our stay. Beds were very comfortable. Staff is excellent and friendly. Very clean and a great restaurant. We do wish the pool opened earlier then 10am since we like to relax in the pool early before we leave.

Just returned from a trip to Hershey Park which was only 20 minutes away. Beautiful hotel, clean with great indoor pool. We had a suite with 2 queen beds and separate bedroom with 1 king bed. Very friendly staff and restaurant on site was terrific. Would highly recommend.

Visiting Hershey park is a treat when you have a beautiful place to stay. This visit was with my kids travel softball team. The hotel let use the conference room for pizza dinner. Girls had a great time in beautiful pool. They loved the ice cream treat too. Just wish they had free breakfast. But there is a grocery store within a mile!

Our stay at this hotel was the best! The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and modern. The rooms are just as modern with refrigerator, coffee, microwave,lots of electrical plus to charge the electronics, ect. Everything seemed to be brand new in perfect condition. It is very quiet for being a larger hotel. We heard no one. Our view was to the very large lobby from the 2nd floor. We used the fitness room which was a nice bonus. We ate at O'Reilly's restaurant which is attached to the hotel. Once for supper and the other time for breakfast, Excellent both times! Just a short ride to Hershey and other attractions. We have nothing to complain about with this hotel. We had a perfect stay!

The night before we stayed here, we were at another hotel in a nightmare room. We arrived here, opened our room door, and almost wept. It was quiet and clean! This place was really nice. And clean. There was a pool. A workout room. A game room. A nice lobby that looks like it could be booked for parties. A nice pub attached. So happy we stayed here.

This was a stop over with my grandchildren after driving 11 hours. We were exhausted and the kids were looking forward to the indoor pool. We got the family suite, which if you have children is well worth it. Be prepared however that some of these suites overlook the indoor pool. If you are on the first floor, you can walk right out to the pool. With that being said, it is loud until 10am when they shut down the pool. Linens and towels were of good quality and the beds were comfortable. HVAC was quiet. O'Reilly's restaurant is a great family place even though there is a bar. The food was good and plentiful. We would stay at this hotel again.

Excellent Hotel in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. The room was very nice, very clean and very comfortable. The indoor pool is amazing. The staff was wonderful. I'm thinking about taking a trip to Hershey Park just so I can stay here again. Usually people plan a hotel stay around the park. You'll want to plan a park visit around this hotel. They have a fantastic restaurant right in the lobby where they serve fresh hot breakfast every morning. No cereal and bagels for breakfast. No pre cooked junk. They actually cook your breakfast fresh off the grill and it's fast. They had enough staff at 7am to handle a lunch rush. If you need a hotel I'm the area definitely use these guys.

Stayed here a few nights while visiting attractions in Hershey. Great location/travel time to Hershey's main attractions (HersheyPark, Chocolate World, etc). Our kids loved that the pool went from 3-7ft! Very nice, large spacious pool area. Only thing missing is a hot tub! Rooms were very clean & loved the pillows! Would stay here again!

Beautiful property, such a nice pool!!! The pool view from the suite was gorgeous! We had a lot of fun, game room for the kids that they won stuffies in the claw machines after playing in the pool! Definitely will stay again!

I've been coming for the best Western Premier Harrisburg for the last nine years. We wouldn't stay anywhere else !!! Between the front desk and hotel staff and the restaurants food quality & service. It's the only place to stay when you're going to the outdoor show.

Have stayed at the best Western four times now for special events. All four times have been just wonderful. The rooms are very nice and spacious . The staff is friendly, O'Reilly's is a great restaurant/pub on premises.The event spaces are well kept and the event staff is so attentive.

We had an annual Christmas family party at BW and the entire staff in catering was outstanding! They know what customer service is all about and took care of everything with care and courtesy! The hotel staff was equally as outstanding. Everyone professional and so accommodating to our every need. The hotel is kept immaculate and decorated so classily festive for the holiday season!! Staying here you won't go wrong.

The room was clean. The refrigerator had a big ice boulder in it, preventing it from being cold. The pool area and the pool, were very nice and clean. The restaurant on-site was EXTREMELY COLD, and was asked about making it more comfortable, “the response was, “it's usually always cold in here”. Almost every table had people eating with coats/jackets on.

We stayed at The Central Hotel for a wedding. This Hotel is top notch! Our room as well as all areas were clean and nice to be in. We interacted with a lot of staff, and were struck by how efficient and helpful they all were. They all seemed to like their jobs and care about giving customer satisfaction. They definitely achieved that!

I attend this conference annually and look forward to my stay at the Best Western! Everyone is helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The facility is bright and well appointed. My room is always large, clean, and well-designed for the traveler. Clearly a well-managed hotel with excellent staff!

This venue exceeded my expectations as a conference hotel. I was able to check in between sessions as the process took literally 10 seconds. Registration staff had a packet ready for me with everything I needed. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the lobby area was structured to allow for private conversations with other conference attendees. Absolutely conference focused while making for a great stay.

Four nights in your hotel and overall, I was very pleased. You honored my special room request and it was close to the meeting area. The breakfast was very good and very reasonable on the weekdays, Staff was cordial.

I recently travelled back to Pennsylvania for a wedding and stayed 2 nights at this Best Western location. I am so glad I picked this one! I am a Diamond Select member so I have stayed at my fair share of Best Westerns throughout the country, with work and personal travel, and this one is excellent! The rooms are clean and quite. The restaurant attached to the hotel provided excellent food, drinks and service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the area.

Nice location. Meeting rooms were nice, room was quiet and comfortable. Loved the indoor pool and restaurant, enjoyed the weekday happy hour specials and the cherry limeade slushy was excellent. Glad that the next years meeting will be here again

This hotel is very nice. The lobby is always clean and the front desk personnel are very efficient. Would recommend a map of property because of how it is spread out. It would make it easier to find your room and your way around the hotel.

We had a short stay, arrived early evening and left early - early next morning. Ate take out from the restaurant, food was good. Plenty of food for the price. Entry was very nice, employees were very accomodating, friendly. I rated the rooms a 4 because they are a bit dated. Beds / linen VERY comfortable, good nights sleep and very clean.

From the coordiantion to our event to the accomodation and ease to our changing needs, the staff excelled at their profession. Megan and Liz offered all the support needed in organizing our conference and all staff from the folks at the check in desk to the servers in the restaurant offered the utmost efficieny along with extreme kindness and friendliness. Even the food at the hotel's restaurant was above expectations. Despite not having the time to enjoy the amenities the hotel offered a beautful pool and game room.

This hotel is perfect for a stay whether you're traveling for business or pleasure. Everything is modern, clean, and the ambiance is spacious yet cozy. The entire facility is very clean from the common areas to the rooms. Every single member of the staff I encountered was very friendly and helpful. We really had a wonderful experience during our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

I am an event planner and have used this venue for many meetings and events over the past 6 years, most recently this past September. They never fail to succeed and impress in all areas. All staff - sales, to catering, to AV, to front desk - everyone was professional and willing to help in any way possible. The general manager was also actively walking around, checking on our event and checking in with all guests of the hotel, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food is also EXCELLENT, and the catering staff was all very attentive to making sure the food never ran out or got cold. The hotel is a convenient location in the Harrisburg area close to I-83 and I-81, which helps accommodate folks from all areas of the state. They also have an excellent restaurant/Irish pub on site which is a huge bonus for meals or late-night beverages. I highly recommend this hotel/venue for any event you would want to hold - or just a hotel for overnight accommodations. You will not be disappointed!

We visited Harrisburg to attend a family funeral. Due to the timing of a major car show, hotel availability was sparse. We managed to find three rooms here at the BW Premier to allow at least three families to stay at the same property. While two of the three reservations were fine, my experience was one of the worst I've experienced among all my travel experience. Upon arrival, our room (a suite to accommodate my large family) had a stale foul odor. Since it was late and everyone was tired from travel and emotion, we decided to unpack, sleep and address the odor in the morning. Unfortunately, it kept getting worse and more acute. The night manager (Andy) was quick to my room with a member of the maintenance team (Miguel). It was immediately clear to him there was a bigger sewage problem and the only options were to move us - or cover the smell. The only room availability he had at that moment that could fit my family were adjoining queen rooms - on the other side of the hotel. We packed up our things and moved only to find one of the rooms was still dirty from the previous guests. We finally agreed on a solution that put us in a different suite (reserved by a different guest, but not yet arrived) so my family could get some sleep. While that room had no immediate disqualifying problems, it did feature black and pink mold in the tub and shower head, a closet door that would not open, and adjacent to the employee break room where the door would slam occasionally throughout the night. The next day, I let the front desk know about the mold and closet door and requested they be addressed. There were not. No one came to deal with either issue. Dated decor and furniture are excusable and forgivable - they can only update so often. Unexpected sewage issues happen - and they responded well. Mold is easily prevented and solved - yet they did nothing. Closet doors will need to be fixed and adjusted occasionally - but they did nothing with my request. There were some helpful people (Andy, Miguel) but overall, this property seems poorly managed and run. Not impressed. Will not be going back. If you have other options in the area, I'd likely choose those over the Best Western Premier.

easy to find from highway....nice building....friendly staff.. was quiet at night no noises in hallway...we felt it was one of the cleanest hotels we stayed at... had no issues with parking....easy check out

I'm not from the area, I came in for a wedding. I honestly feel like the bride and groom chose the best hotel around! The inside is beautiful. The staff was SO NICE! The room was spacious and clean. I felt safe, cozy, and cared for. I highly recommend staying here.

Hotel was a great stay for my family. Great pool and friendly staff. Hotel food was great for easy meal and enough options. Close to Hershey park for quick access and a better price point then some closer hotels. Hotel was clean and good size. Would stay again.

This was a great location! Not too close to hustle and bustle but an easy drive to everything! We were here for an event and I would stay again. Everything was clean and fresh. I read pets were welcomed but I couldn't tell and I have allergies. Everyone we encountered was nice and very helpful! Bed was a little soft for my husband and I but the kids enjoyed theres.

They definitely earned the use of the word "Premiere" that they have in their name. Every concern I had (there were only two) was taken care of promptly and professionally!! The staff was friendly and helpful. If I am in the area again, I will definitely stay here!!

Such a beautiful hotel and a relaxing atmosphere, I highly recommend staying here if you're in the Harrisburg area. Exceptionally clean with a superb staff who are very outgoing, its such a great place to stay. The lobby puts you in awe when you first walk in. Rooms were so comfortable and well maintained. Exterior is very welcoming as well. A very good experience when you need accommodations. I rate this hotel at a 10 out of 10.

There is a lot to like about this motel. We were in a large group and everything was handled very professionally. The actual facility , food and the staff were top notch. The buffet breakfast in the restaurant was really good and fairly priced. Plus, there was a variety of food offerings during the week. Great atmosphere. Our room was just fine and while we had to request any cleaning services we are getting used to that. There is a really busy expressway going past (some noise) but we got used to that rather quickly. The bottom line is the management and their team know what they are doing. They can handle large events. Various other groups came and went all week long (including meetings and weddings) and seems like everything went well. It was a great choice for our organization.

The Central Hotel in Harrisburg was a great find for us. With three growing children (one nearly a teen) we try to maximize our room size - preferably in a suite format with more than one room - for our money. This hotel hit the spot and was very reasonable for a great layout of a suite and very nicely appointed. I would expect to pay nearly twice the price around larger or popular cities in New York. This stay felt like a steal. The entry room is beautiful and the hotel is fairly large, but with multiple points of entry to get your luggage in and out. The rooms look as nice as the entry hall. All staff were courteous, polite, and responsive, but the cleaning staff were notably pleasant. They went out of their way to say "hello" and give you a bright smile. It's a lot of work to efficiently clean and maintain a large hotel and I do not expect that kind of outgoing attitude no matter where I stay so it was quite welcome and warming to experience. As for amenities, we did not use the attached restaurant, Internet stations, or exercise room, although these all appeared very nice. We did use one of the best indoor pool facilities I've seen anywhere near this price range. The pool is quite large, in an it-looks-like-you're-outside, quad sort of arrangement with rooms on the long sides and a gaming and laundry room at the interior entrance. There was quite a bit of seating (you could always use more tables) and although you couldn't have glass containers you could bring drinks and food which almost never happens. It was a true highlight for us to be able to relax down there and have the kids swim and play. A wonderful stay. I wish they could all be this great at this price point.

This is a great place to stay while in Harrisburg. Staffs very helpful and nice, hotel and rooms are very clean. You have the try the restaurant inside the hotel the food is really good and the price isn't outrageous.

Booked 2 rooms for Friday night and 1 large suite for Saturday night to attend Hershey Park and for a concert but my son and his wife had to cancel as his mother in law needed emergency surgery, so needed to cancel rez for Friday night. I called the hotel and the general manager named Peter couldn't have been kinder…he helped to process my refund immediately. Besides excellent service, this is a clean hotel with a great restaurant, in a convenient location. Highly recommend

Hotel appearance is great however only one elevator was working and the one that is working is very scary. It closes VERY fast. This caused longer lines to form by the elevators during peak times. Also we requested houskeeping full service and came back in the eveing to still an untouched room. We signed up for the rewards program as we are new to Best Western. So far not very impressive. Our restaurant server was great.

Absolutely love this hotel for my family visits to Hershey! This was our 4th return trip. About 20/25 minutes away from Hersheypark & Hershey Chocolate World. Beautiful large indoor pool for the kids to enjoy after a long day at the park! Small arcade as well. Rooms are clean with small refrigerators as well as microwaves. (**Side Note: Hotel Rooms being completely refurbished this Winter for next year!) The front desk staff is always very friendly & helpful. We had a delicious breakfast at O'Reilly's Tap room. Which is located directly off of the hotel lobby. The hotel is located to many nearby restaurants and stores as well, if you need supplies for the park or prefer to go out to eat. Highly recommend this hotel and looking forward to my family's next visit!

The staff and manager here is great and the hotel is really nice. We stayed there for a conference and the conference room was very comfortable. We needed early morning assistance in printing and the manager and staff were right there to help out. I enjoyed staying here.

Love this place! The room was very spacious and clean! Huge TV big beds mini fridge full microwave and plenty of towels. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond. The pool was large and had plenty of towels all the time. Sadly no hot tub but it was a warm pool. They had a small game room and a place to do laundry. Thry had plenty of options of snacks from the vending machines to the front desk. The restaurant was yummy and convenient. Big menu with big portions. We will definitely be returning!!

After a mix up with my booking.com reservation, I was shorted one room out of my two room reservation. How you deal with issues show you a person's true colors. Chuck the hotel manager went above and beyond to figure out the problem and get us another room in the already-booked hotel. The hotel is gorgeous and our room was spotless and super comfortable. The minute you walk into the lobby you you realize this hotel is majestic and first class. Our room overlooked the swimming pool, which was in full swing with a lot of boisterous kids (noisy), but come 10pm it's quiet time (and they actually enforce it) and everyone was out of the pool and I had the best night's sleep in a very long time. Chuck called my room twice to make sure everything was ok and to update me on the booking.com status. I felt sorry for him having to deal with that, so next time I will call the hotel and book directly. At the end of the day he got it figured out and all was well. THANK YOU CHUCK for being an awesome hotel manager! I can't wait to be back in the area to stay at the Best Western again!

I found the hotel staff to be knowledgeable and understanding. I enjoyed lunch at the restaurant inside the hotel. The hotel had nice amenities such as an indoor pool. I found the room to be clean and nice and the hotel was located near the Civil War Museum.

Every corner we turned the staff were kind, considerate, friendly AND all smiled!! What a refreshing experience! O'Reillys taproom was a great place to hang out and induldge in a wine slushy! Happy hours were just that HAPPY!

We stayed at this Best Western Premiere The Central Hotel & Conference Center for a business conference and we needed some speedy technical assistance and printing early in the morning. We didn't have the time to figure out the printer in the Business Center. The front desk sprung into action and the hotel manager Peter and got what we needed printed quickly. That's great service! The hotel itself is great too. The rooms were updated and clean. I'm fussy about the HVAC and air quality and our room was completely comfortable. There's a nice restaurant there, too. Overall, this is a well-run, well-managed, and very clean and comfortable place.

This hotel was lovely, very clean, the pool area was very nice. The hotel is set to be remodeled but looks very nice the way it is. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. All the bathrooms were very clean as well in the lobby area and the room.

My family stayed at this hotel for the weekend for a softball tournament. Great service from the staff and great atmosphere for the hotel. Restaurant attached had great food and a nice bar. They are very accommodating for large parties. Big pool with a exercise room.

Clean hotel with super nice staff. Breakfast was amazing and the pool was great. The parking lot is well lit all night for vehicle security. The breakfast is complimentary and delicious. It is one of the best breakfasts I have had at a hotel.

Leisure/family travel from Chicago, Illinois, to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to attend a sister-in-law's baby shower (girl, due first week of August 2022) and also to visit with old high school friends.

This was an absolutely beautiful hotel that stands out the second you walk in. Great restaurant and pool and arcade. Staff was very very nice, the only problem I had was a 10pm quiet time where they continually asked our kids who were quiet to stop walking around. There was a beautiful lounge but could not utilize it because of the quiet time. The bar also closes early, but that is on par for PA.

My family had a wonderful experience for the 2nd time @ Best Western Premier the Central Hotel & Conference Center! The staff at the hotel was excellent and took care of everything from the moment we arrived until we left! The room was very clean & spacious and overall my wife our 5 year old son & myself were very happy and would highly recommend everyone to visit this top of the line hotel when visiting PA!

The staff was great and so helpful. The hotel was clean and the pool area was nice. We had a two bedroom suite and it was perfect for our family. We had a lightbulb blow out in our room and it was replaced immediately. I recommend this hotel. It's close to the Hershey attractions too.

The bathroom had mold everywhere on the grout. Chunks of paint was chipping from the ceiling. The pool had an overwhelming and abnormal amount of chlorine in the pool which caused my son to have a severe reaction to it. This hotel does not live up to its name. The garbage cans at the front entrance had garbage overflowing from it. However, it does look decent when you first walk into the actual hotel and staff was nice .Hence, the only reason I gave 2 stars. I still would not recommend it, nor stay there again.

Great location, excellent service, comfortable bed, clean room. We like having a small fridge and microwave in the room. Looking forward to returning next year. Enjoyed having fresh coffee in the morning.

It was at a perfect location if your going to Hersheypark! The price was right and only 15 minutes away from the State Capital and Hersheypark! It's also Pet friendly even though we didn't have a pet it was nice to see that other family's could bring there family dog with them. Exceptional food!

The room was acceptable. We travel between 70 and 80 days per year. It's not terrible. The room was clean, in need of an upgrade, and had normal wear and tear. It's a value hotel so expect that you are getting that and not a 4 or 5 star rated place. The staff there are probably some of the friendliest and helpful we have encountered. We stayed in room 372, it's the last room of the building, so a very long walk through the hotel. If I stayed near Hershey Park again, I would likely choose different accommodations but am aware that there would be a large cost increase to get nicer accommodations. The restaurant on site was OK for dinner. The breakfast buffet had fruit flies covering the fruit in an enclosed container. We saw this on our second and last morning. This leads us to believe that there may be bigger issues in the restaurant itself. Again, the staff are top notch. I would be willing to stay again if they updated the rooms.

Stay was pleasant, room was clean, no issues. Found the price was extremely high in American dollars - plus when you add the currency rate exchange to Canadian dollars the room was even more expensive

I recently stayed at this location for a convention. I always get good service at a Best Weteern, but the staff at this location went above and beyond for me during my stay. I took my pet with me. He proceed to cause some damage to our room. I took the lady at the front desk what happened and she took care of it for me at no charge to me. A BIG THANK YOU to the front desk supervisor Tiffany. Also the manager of this location personally my roommate get settled in our room. This is how good customer service is supposed to be.

We stayed in a Queen Room for a week, while visiting family. The first night we got a room which was facing the highway, which made it hard to sleep due to the noise. Unfortunately, there is no noise blocking wall next to the highway. Of course I do not know if the hotel has the possibility to construct such a wall. Luckily the staff, especially the general manager, are very helpful and kind. We were relocated to a room facing the lobby, which was perfectly quiet. The rooms were clean in both cases and had everything we needed. The age of the building is showing in some places, but there were multiple signs stating that the hotel is being renovated. Can recommend the very cheap breakfast special in the Irish pub that serves as the hotel's restaurant, though other options such as the yoghurt were rather pricey comparatively. At check-out there were some issues with the used credit card which were quickly resolved by the curteous general manager. Would stay here again!

We stayed here with our grandson for 2 nights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was extra large and very clean. Game room was a plus. Room was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was exceptionally clean. ( I'm OCD when it comes to hotel rooms because I was a hotel housekeeper when I was in college.) It's close to the highway but you can't hear the highway unless you are in the parking lot. It's a plus that O'Reilly Pub is located in the hotel. The waiter (think his name was Andrew) there helped my husband and I with answers to questions about xlLIVE. It was our first time seeing a band there and the waiter went out of his way to help us. The food was delicious especially the tomato bisque. The location is perfect. Close to 83 and 81. When we go to xlLIVE again, we'll be staying here.

Stayed one Friday night for an early Saturday funeral, and were very pleased with the hotel and the staff. In spite of a local girls lacrosse tournament that filled the hotel with teenage girls and their families, the man at the front desk thoughtfully offered us a top floor room at the end of the hall, noting it would be quieter without the usual traffic (and the late night shrieking that we knew from other experiences with these tournaments! ) And we had not even asked for that consideration, so kudos to your front desk staff! The rooms were clean, well stocked, with minifrig, coffeemaker, etc, and even a microwave to reheat the leftovers from an excellent dinner at the restaurant, O'Reillys, which had huge portions. Talked for a few minutes with the housekeeping staff on our way out in the morning, too, who also seem to take their job seriously and respectfully. Highly recommend this hotel!

Yul greeted us when we arrived, and it was one I'd the nicest hotel check-in experiences we've had. The hotel is very nicely landscaped and the lounge/conference area is well-decorates and clean. Our king room was clean, and larger than expected with a sofa. There was some noise from the highway at night, but not too bothersome. Overall, and excellent stay, will come back again when we are in the area.

Absolutely phenomenal place! I can't even begin to say how happy we are as a family to have chosen here to stay! The pool was amazing and it was super clean. We were given a room that had a sliding (lockable) door that directly leads to the pool! It was PERFECT for us, because we have 3 small children so it was so convenient to just walk from the room to the pool and vice versa. After pool hours these “pool doors” are set to have an alarm go off if opened which as a parent of a small mischievous toddler made me feel much more at ease. Cannot even begin to describe how nice LITERALLY EVERYONE WAS! Front desk, workers, waitresses at O'Rielys, housekeepers, literally anyone you saw or walked past was so so so nice. Room was super clean and pretty big! Had plenty of towels and such and was stocked nicely. The connecting restaurant (O'Riely's) had really really good food. Highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant to anyone! Oh! And 10pm starts “quiet time” aka end of pool hours, etc which as a parent- SUPER GRATEFUL! It was almost like being at home, complete silence! No one running the halls, slamming doors, etc !

Mike at the front desk was extremely helpful, and kindly acknowledged my Diamond Select status by upgrading my room. The 2 bedroom suite is ideal for traveling with someone when you both want your own sleeping space. Despite being ready for a remodel Fall 2022, the room was clean. Especially the bathroom was clean, including the tile grout and caulking. This is easily overlooked at many hotels, but makes a big difference. The bed was reasonably comfortable for my preference, but was clearly not a brand new ultra premium mattress. At least mine was not hard as others had suggested. Peter, the GM, also reached out to me to check how my stay was going. Because this property recognized my BW Status, which very few locations do, I will stay here instead of a Hilton property when I need to stay in Harrisburg… especially after the renovations.

I would choose this hotel again, if I am in the area. The room was a little larger than some of the other chains The furniture was in good condition. The lobby was attractive and inviting for socialization. The only issue was the road noise. I asked for a quiet room, but either they didn't have one or there aren't any. Our room overlooked the highway and we had to keep the fan noise on high to drown out the trucks.

This hotel is in desperate need of renovations. The lobby, hallways and our room all have an old musty smell. The bed was so hard you could feel the springs in the mattress. I've stayed here many times over the past 15 years, but it is no where near the facility that it used to be.

The front desk staff was amazing, so nice and accommodating. Pool and gym were good too. Rooms were good, not as clean as i would have liked but certinaly clean. shower was good. we originally ordered a room with two beds, but got a room with one bed and a pull out couch, BUT this was to accommodate my request to be in a room near my sister. My son used the pull out couch and said it was fine, we had to ask for a blanket at the front desk.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Good hotel with excellent service. Staff's were kind and helpful. Morning Breakfast was good, free shuttle service was a plus. Easy Check in and Check out process. Overall Exceeded expectation.

The option of adjoining rooms/suites was a huge selling point for us. From the moment we arrived on property with friends, we were impressed. The grounds were well maintained and the building was well kept. When we went inside the lobby and check-in area were clean, modern, and tasteful. The rooms were well laid out with comfortable beds and were fastidiously clean. While we did not use the pool or fitness center, we did stop in to see them and were impressed by what we saw. The bar and restaurant being open later into the evening was a nice surprise.

The family suite was roomy, comfortable and clean. We loved the privacy of the King bed room within the suite, and the convenience of the small kitchen like area. Perfect for simple breakfast/lunch. And bringing dinner to the room from the in house restaurant is perfect after a long day!

This hotel is outstanding. The price is right and the amenities are great. The room accommodations are clean and functioning. The staff are pleasant and friendly. The bar has an onsite bar and restaurant which will live up to most travelers needs. The gym is clean and has up-to-date equipment. You wont go wrong with this hotel!

This hotel is 15 minutes from the park. Great option not many people think of. Friendly, courteous staff and strong management. Indoor pool is wonderful. Exercise room has up to date equipment. It is our go to hotel when we go to Hersheypark a few times each spring/summer.

It's been a while since I've stayed at a Best Western. Since I have both Hilton and Marriott cards, I usually try to stay within those franchises. I needed a hotel to stay for our visit to Hershey Park that wasn't super expensive or super sketchy. This Best Western came highly rated on Google and Tripadvisor and wasn't terribly far from Hershey Park. I think without traffic it took about 20 minutes? It was also a very fair price. For the four of us, it was $158 for the night. We checked in around 9:30pm and got a pool view room. I wish we had time to visit the indoor pool - it looked really big and very nice. The room itself was a good size and clean. The bathroom had basic toiletries - and even a shower cap! There was a sign saying you could ask for other toiletries. Staff were very nice and friendly during check in and check out. I would definitely recommend this hotel for people who are looking for somewhere clean and cheap to say for Hershey Park.

Great hotel that we've started at while visiting the area, very affordable, clean, kid friendly, and not far from local attractions! Mattresses could be upgraded but not bad (i have a bad back so I'm picky about mattresses). The indoor pool is great for families with kids and has a small arcade attached with an air hockey table. I want to give special recognition to Claude at the front desk who has amazing customer service skills, friendly personality and goes over and beyond for guests of the hotel. Thank you!

Stayed here the week before Easter to be near Hershey. It was large, clean and had indoor pool open 10a to 10p! It is pet friendly, we brought the dog. Very nice people here. Has a large bar/ restaurant with breakfast. We'll be back.

There was a tupper wear lid in our hotel room. The pool was cold. The price was $350 for two night but you still had to pay for breakfast but it wasn't all you can eat. You got only 2 pancakes or 2 eggs.

A wonderful place to stay with fine folks serving travelers. My arrival was super-late and the front desk people were of good humor. Checkout was a breeze. The convention rooms were large and easy to find. A nice venue. I'll be back next year.

Love the hotel, great lobby area, wish the bar in the lobby was open again like it was years ago. Also, mattress way to hard and comforter on the bed too thin. The staff is friendly and attentive and so nice. Truly a very nice hotel. Just need to upgrade the mattresses and bedding and this place would be perfect.

I can't begin to say how wonderful this hotel experience was!!! From the activity coordinator to the front desk, the manager & The O'Reilly Pub it could not have been better!! They all made our trip with the basketball team so great!! Morgan had a lovely treat for all the boys when we arrived! The front desk had our keys & rooms ready to go when we got there. It is a first class hotel I would recommend this beautiful hotel to everyone visiting the area! They make you feel special!!

I wanted a place with an indoor pool & restaurant available for a getaway with my granddaughter. This was the place. It is awesome that the pool is open 10AM-10PM. Very easy to get to from the highway. The staff are very friendly and it was very family oriented. Fresh towels & clean rooms. It went beyond my expectations.

We stayed in the family suite for 5 nights and it was a nice stay. Hotel staff was top notch and very responsive. Hotel is older but well kept. Fabulous old school large pool. Nice Lobby that we used to visit with family. Rooms were comfortable. Would stay again.

My family and dog stayed at the hotel overnight at the midpoint of the return trip on vacation. I chose this hotel as many of the hotels on I-81 had reviews stating that their rooms were very noisy due to traffic. Unfortunately, upon checking in, we found our initial room to be similarly susceptible to road noise from the smaller I-83. Thankfully, the front desk rep was outstandingly understanding and helpful, moving us to another room away from the highway noise. The rooms are honestly adequate. Not gross, but I wouldn't want to stay move than a night. The hotel is located in a corporate park and I would not want to stay here if I was an employee visiting one of the companies in the park. Pros: • Friendly, proactive staff experience • Large, clean lobby • Clean, well-lit parking • Shower with door rather than a tub with a curtain • Microwave and fridge Cons: • The carpet is very worn • Towels are outstandingly scratchy and un absorbent • Rooms either have significant road noise, or overlook the lobby, and lack natural light • Smoke detector light flashing frequently bright green in the eyes of anyone in bed

The room appeared clean, was what I reserved, and everything seemed to work. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The mini fridge was loud enough that I used earplugs to sleep. Unfortunately I needed the fridge on for food I brought for the following day. The restaurant was overpriced, and should stick to bar food instead of overcooked salmon that tastes only of the butter glaze.

Staff was polite and engaging. Lobby was large, warm, and relaxing. This is a large conference facility with indoor pool and exercise room. Rooms are fairly large with fridge and closet safe. Bathrooms are a little small with low drop ceiling over the shower. Overall cleanliness varied in the room, particularly the bathroom, but have seen worse. Parts of the room could need an update or some attention to detail. There is an in-house restaurant/bar called O'Reilly's which is a decent, well-lit place. Menu is not bad with variety. Food and drink prices are about average. Food quality is average, too. Staff was polite and attentative.

My husband and I would like to give a big shout out to the O'Reilly staff and the staff of the hotel for their amazing service and how they all went out of their way to make everything perfect for us. Specifically, I would like to thank the chef TJ who prepared a wonderful dinner at my husband's request everything was perfect. Also thank you Kevin and Jess for pulling everything together, front desk you guys are amazing. We are there for an extended stay and the front desk staff is very accommodating and have made us feel very welcomed, also they have made our extended stay affordable while our house is under construction. I stay here every year for our lodge promotional trip to The Great American Outdoor Show. We always look forward to relaxing at the end of the day with an exceptional meal and our quiet cozy room. Hotel accommodations are outstanding and the staff is hospitable and eager to make your stay enjoyable. We look forward to being back and enjoying the same experience in 2023.

We had another great experience staying at this hotel for the Great American Outdoor Show. The hotel is very clean, the food delicious, and they have a free shuttle to get to the Convention Center. The Breakfast is complimentary and is a full buffet. They also serve dinner and have a full bar. Service by all was outstanding. We have brought 2 other couples with us for the past 2 years as well. We all signed up again for next year. They have a discount price and will hold the price if registered by the deadline. They do have a beautiful indoor, heated pool. We did not use it, but it is there if interested. A great value and place to visit!

The place is big! Clean well decorated and classy. Staff couldn't be happier to help with your needs, very friendly. This was my 3rd stay and each time was the same.... perfect! The GM Peter was a pleasure to speak with, his concerns for your enjoyable stay with BW were obvious. Very professional and caring. Upon exiting for home rebooked for next year's show. Have stayed here multiple times and never disappointed. The restaurant is great and the rooms are as expected. The staff is more than helpful with any of your needs. We go to the great American outdoor show every year and stay here. Might i add we always run into other repeat customers that are staying there as well.

My husband and I were attending a show in Harrisburg and decided to book two nights at this hotel. We had never stayed in a Best Western Premier hotel before so didn't know what to expect - just that it was close to where we wanted to be and the rates were reasonable. From the moment we arrived until well after we left, the entire trip was made delightful by the incredible staff at this hotel. The gentleman who checked us in was charming and helpful - moved us to a quiet side of the hotel with no issues at check-in. A bit later, he provided a replacement toothbrush when my husband realized he had left his at home. The room was spacious, clean and the bedding comfortable. The room featured a microwave and small fridge (really helpful for our needs) as well as complimentary coffee and tea. We travel quite a bit and have rarely, if ever, stayed in a hotel that was nearly full that was as quiet as this one! We never heard other guests even though we saw plenty of people due to a local outdoor show using this as a main hotel. The on-site restaurant had a great staff and the food was terrific. We ate breakfast there each day and had a really nice dinner on our last night. It is an Irish themed pub and has an extensive beer menu and most Irish specialities. Servers were helpful and friendly! Just outside the restaurant is a coffee station that was just the ticket to replenish my travel mug prior to leaving each morning! Our check-out was simple and accurate. Two hours after we left, I realized I had left my personal pillow in the room but we were already back in Maryland. I called the property, spoke to a very helpful gentleman named Peter. He promised to check on the pillow (even though housekeeping had already turned over the room) and call me back. I assumed it was long gone, but Peter called later in the day, apologized for taking so long to call, but assured me they had found the pillow (minus the white pillowcase that was on it- already stripped and sent to laundry - no problem there!) and he would send it back to me. I was delighted to receive the pillow less than 24 hours later via FedEx! From start to finish, the entire hotel exceeded our expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend it to travelers in the Harrisburg area! Well Done The Central Hotel !!!!

This hotel is excellent. Very clean! Love the ambiance and the pub is great. My only complaint would be the bed was not that comfortable, but everyone is different. My husband and I continue to stay here when we are in the Harrisburg area.

This hotel is the best! We stayed there with a large cheerleading group for two nights. The accommodations were great! The restaurant food was delicious! The employees are what makes this hotel special. Everybody we encountered for assistance with our large group could not have been any kinder or helpful to us. They served us meals in a timely manner and went out of their way to help us get breakfast on-the-go early morning! Every employee was kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Mike S. was the front night time receptionist the weekend we stayed. He was very helpful. Awesome customer service. Food and service at O'Reilly's was great. Room was clean. Mike even helped us find a spot my child could practice dance routines.

As usual (we have come to this hotel every year since 2017) the staff at this hotel made the stay a complete pleasure! They're so kind and efficient and happy to help. Everything was clean and nice and just as we remembered it. Any time we needed anything (towels, pillows etc..) the staff was friendly, quick to deliver and just overall pleasant. We LOVE when we have a Hershey tournament (like literally every parent on our team gets excited) bc we get to stay here. Our kids love it, the staff doesn't treat them like hockey criminals (so many hotels do), they set up space for them to be kids and play, the pool is always clean and sparkling, the restaurant has a great selection of menu items for them (and is too). We all LOVE this hotel!

We had our company Christmas Party here, the entire experience from booking to attending was absolutely wonderful. Everyone from the mangers to the serving staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The venue was very clean and they did a great job of decorating for our event. We have received a lot of very positive compliments from the employees that attended. We will definitely be going back.

My family and I visit Hershey each year for the Christmas/New Year season and have stayed at the Best Western a few times. Each time we have loved staying here because it was close enough to Hershey, but far enough to be away from crazy crowds. Also, it was always beautifully decorated and very clean. However, this year we were gravely disappointed with our stay. First, the floor our room was located smelled like pot/smoke. The chair in the room had crumbs on it and was missing a wheel. Additionally, the room next to us was very loud and continued to make noise until after 4am. The next day, the front desk kindly moved our room at our request, but the room given to us had mold around the bathroom tub and there was weird hair in the corner of the bathroom sink. Having already moved once, we did not ask to move again. We also noticed that the hotel itself was not its usual clean and pristine self. There was an empty Gatorade bottle in the business center, a used and empty coffee cup in the lobby, and a piece of sheet rock in the stairway. All of these instances have made us second guess ever staying here again, which is honestly sad considering we used to love it here.

Items left on floor from previous Guests (socks, food, wrappers, chap stick), dirty towels in the room, room smelled like a sewer when first entered. Tv didn't work for most channels in one room. Fridge in room only worked as a freezer

Our stay was very smooth with no problems. Check in and out very easy everything explained in a very simple manner. Accommodating in all ways. Very clean - all staff very pleasant and friendly. Restaurant in hotel was a plus, food and staff were Excellent there as well.

This hotel was great! The location was perfect what what me and my friends needed. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. Staff was super nice. Zach in the restaurant/bar was very friendly and attentive! Would definitely come back!

I understand there may be a shortage of staff but things were a mess. The first room we were in 304 had a phone missing all the buttons to call the front desk, housekeeping, etc. when we got back from dinner the room smelled very badly of human waste. They quickly moved us to a new room which was very nice, however, in our second room, only one outlet in the bathroom worked, and the room safe was locked. Our dinner buffet was really too cold to eat. The chicken was rock hard and the cod was icy cold. The salad dressing was so watered down it poured like water. The desserts were good. Decaf coffee was like brown water. Breakfast buffet was ice cold. Bacon not cooked enough by about 5 minutes. The sweet rolls were still frozen when they were put out. I would not op for their buffets unless you like cold food. The lobby is beautiful. Nicely decorated for Christmas. The day we left the smell of human waste permeated entire first floor. It was gagging. This place needs a lot of work. I would never come back.

Was welcomed as a rewards member. Upgraded to a room the likes of which I've never seen before (two queens in main room, and a MB with a King); and I've stayed in many hotels working 32 years in the airline business. Great experience on check out. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. We didn't even notice the heat going on and off. The pool was so clear, we weren't even sure there was water in it at first. Overall, a fantastic stay and no question about where to stay next time.

This message is directed to the manager Peter Chiccarine who made the call to shut down the bar early after we had booked dozens of rooms again this year fir our annual horse sale. We are horsemen who travel from all over the globe to assemble in Harrisburg each year for our annual yearling horse sale. Over $40 million invested in a 4 day span to buy young horses and support regional breeding programs and agriculture. Our organizers have a set of “recommended” hotels which we stay at. For years we have made the best western premier our home away from home, however the last few years we have noticed that the bar area has fluctuating closing times. Most of us are at the sale from 9am to 5pm. We rush back to the hotel, wash up, and head to dinner. After dinner we assemble at the bar inside the hotel for drinks and catch up on our industry. This year Peter “made the call” to shut down the bar at 11pm. I arrived after dinner and to my surprise the bar was closing. Let me start with the hotel. It is far from a 4 or 5 star, however the luxury of having a place to meet owners, trainers, breeders, makes it enjoyable. Removing this part of the experience really does no good for the hotel. More than several horsemen, owners and breeders were upset about this decision. We have options, and I can assure you this decision was a negative one within our community. I did try to speak with the food & beverage manager (woman). I even explained that the night before my bar tab was $1500 in 45 minutes. There was little remorse from the decision. In fact, she flat out didn't care. I can assure you this will be our last year. If you have a conference, find another spot with cleaner rooms, working AC/Heat, and pre set times die their facilities.

This was a stop over from Maine to Florida. The hotel is very pet friendly. The hotel met all our expectations and more. We will definitely make it a twice a year stop in our travels. The restaurant/bar/lounge was great. Food was delicious and portions were large while the price was very reasonable. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was perfect after a long day of driving.

all-in-all my stay at western was a pleasure. the rooms are set up to handle your electronics. don't forget to read the welcome card in the bathroom, it states items you could receive if you forgot to bring your own.

Was really nicely appointed with bar and restaurant. Was able to handle our overnight conference as well as one other conference and a large wedding. Staff were very professional and friendly as well as polite.Rooms were clean and comfortable. Restaurant could use more wait staff when so many events are going on.

This Hotel is the best, Have been staying here the last 4-5 years, The staff at the hotel couldn't be nicer to help with any of our needs, the rooms are very clean and well maintained. The Restaurant/bar is top shelf, We have never had a bad meal there and the greeter girl at the restaurant was so nice as was the bar tender Jared. They made our stay very enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Best Western Premier.

The hotel on the outside does not appear to be anything special. The lobby is one of the nicest lobbies that I have been to in a hotel. Their restaurant, though we did not eat there, was rated very high and was busy. The rooms were not bad, but not great. Walls and trim appeared to be older and the decor was a bit dated. There also was no hair dryer in the room which was kind of odd. The room was clean, just dated. We also had to keep the air condition set at 64 and the room never felt like it got cold. It was comfortable, but I have never had to set the temperature that low to be adequate. However, overall we did enjoy our stay.

Older property, but very clean and well kept. Restaurant/bar attached with large congregation area at front desk. Indoor pool. Attentative staff. Convenient to I-83 interstate, gas, stores, other restaurants. Fast elevators. Only negative, low ceilings in rooms (at least on 3rd floor). Some rooms have outdoor balconies, other rooms look over indoor pool area.

As always we enjoyed our stay at a Best Western Hotel. We were even able to get adjoining rooms with friends so we could hang out together and watch the Patriots Game. When the house keeping found one of our wallets we were immediately called and it was mailed back to us the next day. We would recommend this Hotel chain any time.

Staff was friendly but in our first room the ac didn't work and the balcony door didn't lock on the first floor where people could walk up. When we got switched we noticed the rooms smelled like something rotting, our water heat didn't work along with light fixtures, and the bed was about to fall apart. Unfortunately it was one thing after another. The lobby and pool is nice but the money should go towards the rooms working properly.

I am the event manager for my company, and I have been in the industry for over 20 years and held in events all over the United States and Europe. This team is one of the best (possibly the best) team that I have had the pleasure of working with for an event. From the pre-planning to the event, they made my job super easy. The service at the event was top-notch; the bartenders were personable and charismatic, the servers were attentive, and the food was delicious. Plus, the atrium is gorgeous!

This Hotel was a wonderful 5 night stay for us. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the overall look of the hotel was very well kept. The complementary shuttle to the airport made our lives SO much easier, and the restaurant on site was super convenient, had great service, and everything we ordered was delicious. I had such a wonderful experience with this vendor. Had my wedding here and everything turned out magnificent! The staff is so accommodating. All my guests just raved about everything. I had to postpone my wedding a year due to covid and I never had any issues. Highly recommend!

It's about 20 mins away. It's clean, awesome pool, updated lobby and restaurant on site. Rooms were clean not as updated as the lobby but bathrooms were updated. management/ employees are super accommodating and pleasant to work with. They go above and beyond. I recommend if there is any issues talk to management before writing reviews it's not fair to not give others a chance to redeem themselves. We had a small issue nothing big and management resolved it without stress. Overall it was a very clean good experience. Pool is super nice and clean. Also, love the brick in the hotel super different and cool. The pool room is cool. They have a small game room. We enjoyed our stay and the employees really make it!

By family and I stayed there on a visit to Hershey park. We found the hotel room spotless. The heated pool was a hit with the kids. This hotel is centrally located, 10 minutes to airport and 8 to Hershey.

This is not the first time I have stayed at his hotel when visiting my sister and her family, who live close by. Each time the friendly and welcoming staff have always provided a consistent level of cleanliness with their housekeeping standards and an array of amenities. Even during these daunting times while traveling during Covid.

Price was great. Lobby and room was new and fresh feeling. No old musky hotel smells, ac worked well, great service. Easy check in and check out. Bed was super comfortable and the wifi was great. So neat that they had smart tvs.

We stayed two nights and rented two rooms for the five of us. The plan was to visit Harrisburg for a day and Hershey another day. The hotel was easy to get to and the lobby very beautiful. I wish I could give half stars, because the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 was the room needed a little updating and the bed. The bed had a bad dip in the middle of it. The pool looked great, and I was told the gym while small was very nice.

From the moment you walk in you see a clean hotel and friendly faces. All the staff from the front desk to housekeeping and the restaurant are extremely friendly, helpful, polite and genuinely nice people! They made you feel like family. The room was very clean as well as the pool. The service was fast at the front desk for check in. The food tasted great as stated by all five members of our stay and that was for every meal we ate. As my wife said to the front desk when we checked out, "Staying there was the best hotel experience we have ever had!" Best Western should use this hotel as a role model for the company. We stayed there to go to Hershey Park and will be back for the next park visit.

I'm shocked that this hotel gets anything above 3 star reviews. The only thing four star there is the lobby and my check-in experience with Yul, he was great. Full disclosure, I did not address any of these issues with the hotel when I was there so they didn't have a chance to move us or take other action. I had kids with me and a hangry wife, I couldn't add more to that without being rude. We checked in about 9:30pm after a long day of work and 2.5 hour drive to include two children under nine. Upon entry to our room, it looked like someone else had been in there, sat on the beds, pooped in the toilet and left. The bathroom toilet was not clean. The styrofoam ceiling in the entry way and shower were barely hanging on and the metal frame is rusted-anyone 6ft or taller could probably jump a bit, cut their head and try to get some money. The corner chair had stains on it and the side table had sticky residue on the sides. The shower looked barely surface clean and the drain was clogged, causing a few inches accumulation of water. My wife oddly asked my family if any of us were bleeding, which we weren't, because the towels had stains on them that were likely blood. The room is generally grungy, from the carpet and even the walls look worn, not what I expected from the reviews and the price. We had a pool-side room and while there are lite weight curtains, there is not a second layer of heavy wight curtains to completely close out the window from other rooms and the lights in the pool room on 24/7. We sleep in pitch-back rooms at home, that light was bothersome to us all. That bed was one of the least comfortable beds I've slept on in a long time. I could feel the springs every time I turned and they made a terrible noise (yes, I tried both beds). My wife and I barely slept. My wife wanted to leave after being there about 3 hours. We got up Saturday, went to O'Reilly's where for the first time in history-the pancakes were so bad my kids didn't want to eat them. And why did I get a full size kielbasa for a breakfast sausage, haha!? This restaurant is independent and not related to the hotel, for the record. We left the "Privacy Please" sign on the doorknob while we ate and prepared for the day approximately 0830-1000. We departed the hotel about 1005 and the housekeeping team was about four rooms away from our room, I thought to myself "just in time". Upon returning to the room around 8:30pm, I had just convinced myself and my wife to stay the night again as booked. We entered the room to find housekeeping skipped us. I'm confident it's because they were close enough to see the Privacy sign within 20 minutes of service so either they didn't double-check or tried to save some work. That was all we needed to change our minds-we packed up and checked-out around 9:30pm and make our 2.5 hour drive home. What a terrible experience setup but the many, many, great reviews. I wish the front desk cared to ask why we checked out at 9:30pm when we had another day there, but the individual didn't seem to care at all. I just don't understand the many good reviews, we'll never go there again.

When my wife booked this hotel for a night when we went to Hershey, I didn't expect much from a Best Western. However, the hotel was beautiful! It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the pool was fantastic. We got a first floor room with pool access. Honestly I think the pool was the best part of our stay. It was large, clean, and warm! We would definitely stay here again.

Room was bigger than I expected. We did okay there with 2 adults on the bed and 2 teenagers on the pullout couch. Everyone was very nice. Breakfast and services there was great. Nice and close to Hershey as well as many restaurants and supermarkets. Game room was also a hit with my kids even though it was VERY small. Mini fridge was useful. Indoor pool looked really nice.

We recently stayed in many hotels during our family road trips and this was by far one of the nicest! We stayed in a suite which had a great layout, plenty of space and most importantly was clean! The staff was friendly and professional too! We also ate dinner at the restaurant on the first floor which was fantastic! Would highly recommend this hotel!

We spent one night there and it was great,the hotel was so clean and the service was good and they had very good open buffet breakfast on Sunday also the pool there is fun. The font dest are so friendly and helpful especially Lexi and Lindsey they were amazing and so helpful, they gave me a lot of information about PA and were to go visit since it was my first time there! Location was Great, many Restaurants near by, 20 minutes away from Hershey Park, hotel room were very clean, everything worked except for Cable, both nights i stayed there and at approximately 10pm we would lose signal and cant watch any TV, its not such a big deal to lose a star rating and the water pressure in the shower and sink was horrible but still manageable to use, overall still an amazing hotel stay

Room was clean and beds were comfy which was most important! Coffee bad. TV connection lost halfway through the evening. Water pressure in shower was lacking. Hotel appears dated with many updates. There is a pool. No hot tub (I think most hotels have gotten rid of them. Covid or maintenance?). No free breakfast (which we knew when we reserved) but there is a restaurant attached. Would I stay again? Maybe but I would look for hotels better amenities in this price range first.

Rooms are very clean, friendly front desk staff! We stayed for 4 days for our family vacation, since they can't clean the rooms daily anymore (due to covid), they had everything you needed at the front desk. They sold bottled water in the lobby (inexpensive). We didn't however eat at the restaurant or the breakfast.

Definitely I will stay there again . Hersey park Was not far away. Lots of restaurants nearby. The pool was great. The room was was very clean, staff was friendly. One minute drive shopping center with lots of store and restaurants to eat.

If you are travelling in the Harrisburg, Pa area - I highly recommend the Premier Best Western. The staff and accommodations are nice and clean. But the general Manager Peter C. is quite simply superb. He truly knows how to make a family feel welcome. Take my word for it - you will not be disappointed if you happen to come across Peter during your stay.

The staff, facilities, and O'Reilly's Tap Room & Kitchen are TOP NOTCH! When I booked our rooms online (4 adults 6 kids) I did not request a conjoined room. Upon check-in I made the request but there was none available. Mike and his team were able to get us a conjoined room for the next 2 nights. After our first night in the morning we were heading to Hershey Park. The team there helped us store our luggage in a secure area for the day while they got our new rooms ready. Later that afternoon when everything was ready to go Mike called me and sent a text to let me know everything was complete. Everyone on the staff was professional and SUPER FRIENDLY! We had conversations and joked with all of them like we knew them for years. O'Reilly's Tap Room & Kitchen was also TOP NOTCH! From the breakfast buffet to their delicious food and drink all just steps away from our rooms. The staff at O'Reilly's was equally as friendly and we had a great time with them! They helped make our trip really fun! And the kids had a BLAST! Can't say enough good things about our stay. I wish I remembered everyone's name because I would give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to all of them!!!

Best western is always our “goto” hotel travel stops. This “Premier” caught our eye from the beautiful lobby photos, we envisioned having some well deserved drinks after a longs day drive. We walk in exhausted and excited to be there. Bar closed. Wild goose chase to find our room via front desk directions. Wet unsupervised screaming kids darting in front of us trying to just get to our room. Keys didn't work. (Third times a charm of walking back and forth trying to get the key to work) Decided to just go to the restaurant since the lobby bar didn't exist. OMG that is the loudest place I've walked into in a LONG time. Tables full of kid sports teams and such all talking louder and louder to hear over each other. Immediately walked out to get back in the car after driving all day to find some food and a drink. After getting back the key didn't work… again. Finally get in, go to get some rest… prank/accidental calls several times all through the entire night and had to unplug the phone, and somewhere between all that the clock alarm went off at 1:30am. We were exhausted when we had to get up to drive an hour to the airport first thing the next morning. If you are here with your kids sports team or Girl Scouts or whatever little kid event, I'm sure everyone had a good time and you expected an exhausting time. If you are just a couple passing through… DO NOT stay here!!!

I have been staying at The Best Western for a family visit. I have eaten at O'Reilly's several times during this visit and have been more than impressed with the service from Zack. He's personable and attentive even with a packed house. I also recommend the Lava cake for dessert.

Our Pastor had passed away on the 4th of July. The hotel staff catered the event. The food was spectacular! Everything from the chicken, the roast, chicken corn chowder, potatoes and vegetables! Excellent!

Our family wanted to stay at a nice place that was fairly close to Hershey Park and Chocolate World. The Premier Best Western was an extremely good value! We had clean rooms, access to an impressive pool, and very friendly and professional service from all staff members. We would deinitely stay there again if we're every traveling there.

We stayed 2 nights at the Central Hotel. This is an older property, but is very well kept. The front desk staff weregoing very friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean and comfortable. There is no complimentary breakfast because they have an attached restaurant/bar. The restaurant is an Irish pub style with excellent service, tasty food, and a number of local beefs on tap.

We have stayed here before pre-covid and after our experience this time, we will never stay here again. They are not enforcing CDC mandates that unvaccinated people mask and there were kids between 5-12 everywhere unmasked. My family were literally the only masked people in the very crowded hotel. No exaggeration. There were not even signs saying you had to follow CDC recommendations. The hotel was very crowded since there was some kind of sporting event plus the Hershey Park crowd. Again, my husband, me and my two kids (who are under 12 so unvaccinated) were the only masked people in the whole hote. NOPE. Won't be staying at BW anymore if this is how their brand is handling health and safety.

This is a lovely, well-kept property with a conference center and restaurant. The room was very comfortable and clean, and staff were friendly and helpful. O'Reillys is the attached restaurant and was one of best restaurants attached to a hotel we have been to. The wait staff was extremely friendly, the food was very good pub style, and the selection of craft beers was nice. We would definitely recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

The housekeeping staff have excellent service they go above and beyond. The customer service from the front desk is magnificent. The bartender was awesome at the restaurant and the food was great. My children loved the pool. If we walked out our balcony door we were in the pool area how awesome is that.

The room was excellent, the team were very helpful. Overall would definitely book our stay here again! It was a great time and we can't wait to come back! It was a great feeling to come back here and relax after a busy day.

Stayed for one night while visiting Hershey Park. The rooms need some major updating. When you have to put cut out pieces of wallpaper back on the walls it's time to renovate! The bathroom was extremely small and the shower was disgusting with mold all over. The couch had white stains on the cushions. 10pm quiet hours did not exist. Maintenance was banging on the door at the room across from us at midnight and kids running up and down the halls till 1am. It wasn't just our floor either, our friends on the 3rd floor experienced the same thing. Never again, look for somewhere cleaner, newer at probably 1/2 the cost!!

We took a family trip to Harrisburg and based off the reviews on Trip advisor we chose this hotel. The room was ok, attached restaurant lunch was good but breakfast was a scam. The hotel advertised a $5 early bird breakfast special, however when we went there the restaurant refused to honor it and said they were not running that special that week. They offered a buffet for $13 for adults instead . You would think after paying $ 13 for 1 buffet the food would be top quality. The pancakes were tough, the bread had mold on it, the sausages tasteless. The rooms all were around the pool which was open till 10 pm and very noisy . An ok room nothing special.

The lobby area is very nice. The staff is friendly and polite. Room smelled musty. Two out our days we received a note saying they were unable to come in and clean the room. Breakfast could be purchased in the pub.

From the time we arrived, the staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Must not miss meeting the General Manager upon arrival. Although he was a graduate of my rival, St. Josephs' University, Philadelphia and I a graduate of Villanova University, his assistance was unparralled. We were checked in at the Front Desk in a mate of minutes and escorted to our room. Lunch and breakfast were speedy and delicious and very lo priced for the quality. Out Convention luncheon and Banquet werr served by the nicest waitstaff I have ever encountered. Thank you, Peter. You have trained your staff well.

We stayed at the Central Hotel for a soccer tourney with a block of 40 rooms, all of which had children. The staff could not have been more helpful! Friendly and efficient service, Lexi Katie Claude Mike at the front desk and Megan in special events were amazing helping us to secure a hospitality room, helping to distribute gift bags as families arrived, and never once being flustered by the chaos a soccer club with kids this age inevitably brings with it! We will absolutely stay here again, mainly bc of the staff.

Pool was amazing and game room as well. We met the house keeping manager named Orlando Santiago and he was of great help and was extremely friendly. Will definitely be staying here again when I visit.

Even though it's a 20 minute drive to Hershey, right next door is a Giant, a Wendy's, a Dunk'nDonuts & a Panera and mo4re. The hotel is nice, has a swimming pool and a game room. It's a conference center so it's on a quiet business street.

Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Claude and Mike provided excellent customer service and made me and my family feel very welcomed. The hotel and rooms were very clean!!! Nice to have fridge and microwave. Great size indoor pool. The staff in O'Reillys was very nice and accommodating as well. Minutes from downtown Harrisburg - excellent pizza at Cork and Fork with a view of the Capital! We will be back to visit.

This is the nicest hotel that I've stayed at with my dogs. Very dog-friendly which was appreciated. Please clean up after your dog so the hotel will continue to allow dogs to stay. Just a great experience.

Clean, suitable amenities ... I was with a dog show and this hotel really worked out well and they gave me the exact room location I requested. It worked out well for meals, dog walking areas. I didnt have to leave my dogs for any extended time because the hotel had everything.

From the minute I walked into the hotel till the time I checked out 6 days later, I found every member of the staff at this hotel to be friendly, helpful, and extremely good at their jobs. I don't know that I've ever had a better experience at a hotel.

I cannot say enough about this hotel and staff. Hotel was first rate but the staff is beyond first rate if that is possible. My son lost his I phone and we tracked it to a dumpster behind the hotel. I informed the front desk that we wanted to go dumpster diving for it as we knew it was in there. The battery was dead so we had to open bag after bag of trash. The hotel sent 2 members of their staff to help us which blew me away. These selfless people, joined us in going through the bags until finally through sheer determination they found it. I tried to pay them for their efforts but they both refused. I cannot say enough about people who would do that when it is not part of their job description. My hat is off - obviously when in town I know where I am staying. Hope you do too.

Stayed at the Best Western Premier in Harrisburg for 2 nights. We were selling our house and needed to go somewhere while the house was being shown for the weekend. This is a great property with a beautiful lobby. It was very vey quiet at night even though there were cheerleaders all over competing in a competition. Thinks quieted down by 10 PM allowing for awesome sleep. The food in O'Reilly's Pub (the hotel restaurant) was delicious. We had breakfast one morning and 2 dinners. Every meal was great! You will find the friendliest bartender in town (Jarod) and definitley ask for Zac as your server. You will be treated like royalty. Cheers!

They put all the blacks on the third floor, all the way in the rear! Many families ended up talking about it...like perfect strangers seeing the obvious . The staff was like a beautiful looking cake with worms inside. It was an interesting trip to this particular establishment. PA is amazing but NOT here!! Hair in the bathroom and the towels were like wool. Seriously horrible.

By far the liveliest BW we've stayed at. From the moment we walked into the clean, quiet lobby and checked in and made our way up to our room. Our boys shared a pull-out sofa and and said it was the most comfortable one we've forced them ever to share. Pool was awesome. Will def be back!!

We arrived after an 8 hour drive with our cat returning home after the winter in Florida. Every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations. Very clean, comfortable, pet friendly, and great amenities for the price!

We went to visit our daughter and granddaughters and had a wonderful time. The pool area was checked to make sure only the people that made reservations where there. The restaurant was friendly with a good and reasonable menu. Rooms were clean and quiet at night.

Our room was very clean. Throughout our stay the staff was carefully and tactfully cleaning and maintaining the hotel and conference center. My family had a great stay and look forward to visiting again! I actually left something in our room after checking out and leaving the hotel, but the hotel staff was super helpful to get the item back to my family. Very grateful!

As many others have experienced, COVID has had a huge impact on hotels. We've had plenty of stays at various properties, Best Western or other that have had cleanliness concerns or where staffing was so reduced that rooms weren't ready until way past check-in time etc. What a breath of fresh air literally and figuratively The Central was. During our 3 night stay we didn't have a single issue or concern related to the hotel. The Lobby is very attractive and made for a nice quiet place to play games. Our room was at the end of the hallways which made for a bit of a walk to the lobby but was worth it for peace and quiet. The WiFi did everything I needed it to with great performance. Housekeeping did a great job at delivering a spotless room when we checked in and a freshened room every day of our stay. The on-site dining was satisfactory with great service and quality, but in my opinion, somewhat bland food. Being a Premier, this is one of Best Western's most full-featured properties. All my BW Premier experiences have been stellar and I always hope to find one nearby when I'm booking travel.

The rooms smelt horrible - like a smoker was just in there. The halls smelt of marijuana. The toilet was never clean. Really high hopes, really bad experience. I won't be staying here again in the future.

Stopped here on our way back from Florida. Pet friendly, this is one of the best we've found on our trips south from New Hampshire. Roomy and very comfortable, we highly recommend it. O'Reilly's Irish Pub had an early bird (7-9) breakfast special that for us was perfect. Their St. Patrick's Pot Roast was more than enough for 2 to split. We don't however, recommend the Bacon Bread Pudding.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Host at the restaurant was not pleasant and did not make a good first impression. Overall a great hotel to stay with kids. Pool was good but needed to be cleaned. Arcade was a hit as well.

Excellent hotel for families visiting Hersheypark and surrounding area. Laurie at the front desk was so accomodating and knowledgeable. The place is so clean and well maintained. Kids loved the indoor pool which is larger then most and they even have a mini arcade. The pub has alot to offer and cold beer on tap! You will not go wrong here! Highly recommended

We were traveling from the South and found a great place to stay and was a good value for the money. We looked a the reviews on line and decided to stop. We had a wonderful breakfast that was delicious

This is my 2nd time staying with a sports team and each time is better. Service is top notch, clean rooms, very accommodating to our needs. They provided a conference to all sports teams to use. Excellent stay!

A colleague and I went to stay overnight for a seminar. Upon entering the gentleman at the front desk was super personable and friendly. The lobby was definitely beautiful and if it weren't for covid it probably would of been a nice area to lounge in. When we got to our floor the hallway smelled like sewage. Luckily our room didn't smell that way but it was definitely something that you could tell was there for a while and wasn't going anywhere. When entering the room we put our food in the small fridge that was pretty dated, but it looked to be working. The next morning the food was completely frozen. The wall paper was peeling in the rooms.

This is the only place I stay in Harrisburg. The staff is wonderful. The restaurant is very convenient. Plenty of room for multiple vehicles. Indoor pool is spectacular. They are great at what they do. will be back in a week or two

I had to stay at hotel during a snow storm the area had. Check in was very smooth. This hotel was a best western premier so they had a lot of amenties to use. The indoor pool is the biggest hotel pool i have ever used. The hours were reduced on the pool due to covid but was understandable. They also have a pretty nice restaurant.

Absolutely amazing staff, very accommodations and helpful. Manager really assisted us in giving us an extra day due to inclement weather and even was able to give us a discount because of it. 10/10 would recommend again.

We stayed the weekend and we're able to feel extremely comfortable considering the circumstances of covid19. They are very clean. we were still able to eat food from the restaurant, just had to take it to our room which wasn't a problem. Everyone was very accommodating.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past and as before this time was no exception. Aside from a few restrictions due to Covid-19 the accomodations were spot on. Check-in and cleanliness were a priority, and they once again fufilled my expectations. Any time we go to Hershey or other places to vacation, I always look at Best Westerns first!

Everything was great. I had booked a room with a King bed and noticed that there was only a shower in the room. I really wanted a tub in my room so I went down to the front desk to ask if I could have a room with a tub. They ended up putting me in a suite instead which was great. Apparently, they were remodeling all of the Kind one bedrooms to have large showers only. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I did not eat in the restaurant but my colleagues did and they said it was great. Everything was really clean and there are plenty of places to eat very close by. I highly recommend this hotel.

Ive stayed at this (home away from home) for multiple weeks at a time. The staff is amazing from the office down to the maintenance man. They are a compliment to Harrisburg. O'Reillys is very convenient on site. The food is great.

I'd say my room was just average and bathroom is Tiny. I'd recommend not getting a room on the highway side because the noise is awful. Had a couple issues which were addressed by staff. No buffet or 24 hr drinks because of covid. Price was good and employees were great.

Having stayed here multiple times over the last several months, I can say with confidence that the staff makes the trip and stay a pleasure every time. From the restaurant, to house keeping, front desk, and management, every person has been kind, welcoming, and takes a genuine interest in their guests and needs. If you find yourself in Harrisburg, this is the place to stay.

Spoke with the hotel manager and understand more regarding the reasoning for the pools limited hours. While unfortunate, the reasoning was legitimate. They have taken my feedback and have already began improving how certain situations are handled. We discussed everything that we found wrong, and while this stay was a miss for us, I believe this was a fluke and would be happy to give another shot on our next trip to Harrisburg/Hershey. The customer service and the ability to take, and implement feedback by the hotel manager was outstanding and more reflective of our trip to the hotel last year. I will look forward to our next stay. Removing my old review as I believe it was a one time bad experience and the hotel shouldn't receive a permanent bad mark - especially when the majority of our complaints were due to other guests.

This is a wonderful hotel. I love the fact that there are microwaves and refrigerators in the room. The staff was nice and personable and the hotel was very clean. The only issue I had is that I left a heating pad which was a gift in our room. I called several times but didn't get a callback. I then contacted the GM Peter Chiccarine (?) and he was truly helpful. He assured me he'd check into the matter and get back to me by noon. He did so, before noon I might add, but couldn't find my heating pad. Peter went the extra mile and sent me a new one from the gift shop. He didn't have to and rarely do you see or hear of hotel staffs doing this sort of thing. I appreciate his care and effort in the matter and he should be commended on his willingness and concern to help make his guests stay a memorable one, which he did for me. I will stay at this hotel whenever I visit my hometown bc it's the kind of 'special treatment' you want when you're away from home. The price was reasonable and comparable to other hotels in the area and overall we were very happy. We brought along our teenage kids and ut was great that they could accommodate us with adjoining rooms which many hotels don't have or "hold for special guests". Thanks again for making our stay a great one. Best regards to Mr Chiccarine and I hope I didn't butcher your name too much. Will stay here again for sure!

We were here from August 25-29. Had a very nice stay. Everyone was very nice at the hotel. Place was clean. Had one day where our room was not serviced and the staff rectified it quickly and we were very pleased. Pool hours were shortened due to covid which was probably was not needed but at least it was opened and it was very nice. We would stay here again. Thank you.

I spend wonderful days with my family and friends in this hotel. My stay was beyond expectation. The hotel lobby is so beautiful. The staff are top notch. They're friendly, helpful and accommodating. Rooms are very clean, spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The hotel also has complimentary bus and is able to pick you up from train station or airport. Free internet speed is really good. I would stay again without hesitation.

We have started going to Hershey park every year, we had booked a nasty hotel last year and my husband ended up going out at 3 am and changing our hotel to the best western premier in Harrisburg. We were so thrilled with this hotel, beautiful, great employees, pool, arcade, etc We would go to Hershey and spend the rest of the night at the hotel pool..... This stay on the other hand....we booked and paid the same price as last year only to come in and find out the pool closes at 5 pm..... so I ask why and she says because of Covid.......I stated you are closing the pool at an inconvenient and unnecessary hour BECAUSE of Covid while I literally saw 8 guests WITHOUT MASKS just while walking from the lobby to the elevators! Also the room service and janitors didn't even have a mask in site according to my other family members! 10-5 is a crap time for a pool because this area esp is for families on vacation and doing other things, also the pub closes at 8pm! It's garbage! So we had to spend EXTRA money leaving the hotel to find other ways to entertain our kids! We will NOT be staying here again because of this, closing an amenity because of a pandemic and not making it mandatory for ALL staff and guests to wear masks if they want to take it so seriously! We already have to deal with Hershey cutting their hours but now have to accommodate our activities because we were expecting certain amenities stated on their website. (If you search in the fine print You CAN see the pool hours on the website but honestly they should have it posted on the main page)

After reading previous reviews on Trip Advisor, we were expecting an extraordinary hotel experience but, unfortunately, we were greatly disappointed. The outside of the hotel looks “tired” and depressing. People were sitting around in various spots smoking and drinking. From the once glamorous lobby, we surmised that the hotel had a past heyday. Because we had a small dog with us, we were given a room in the rear of the hotel, facing the interstate and an unsightly parking lot with a dumpster filled with industrial waste. To gain closest entry to our room, that's where we had to park our car. Luckily, the room seemed well-insulated as we were not bothered by any traffic noise. The room was, for the most part, quite clean although we found the drapes dirty and the very old carpet in need of replacement. The general cleanliness of the room, in these harrowing times, enabled us to stay put for the night. On a positive note, the staff at the hotel was very pleasant and concerned about our disappointment. They offered to move our room but we were already settled in and tired from our very long drive from South Carolina. We received a nice note of apology from one manager and another email note from another manager. Would we give the hotel a second chance? I very much doubt that.

Clean, friendly and relaxing. Didn't get to use the pool but everything else was accommodated. We meant a lot of friends staff and employees and the price was awesome. Thank you to your team and we will be back.

This is an exceptional hotel to stay at. I would warn anyone who needs a softer mattress to bring your own topper. However, the firm bed was the only negative thing I have to say about this hotel. The service was awesome, the amenities were awesome.The staff was awesome. You will not be disappointed.

We had a group of friends and family stay at the Best Western Premier this past weekend. We were in the area to go to Hersheypark. Like many people we were concerned due to COVID-19, but the staff made us feel comfortable and safe. They are following all recommended guidelines. The hotel was very clean and staff was constantly disinfecting public areas and high traffic areas. The guestrooms are spacious, spotless and have everything you need to feel at home. We will definitely be back.

I went specifically for the Hershey Park. The rooms were clean, but the fridge leaked. The arcade games were rigged and when we went to the front desk they claimed that they couldn't do anything! So they Key Master game just look at the bottom- it's in winnable because there is a wall blocking where the prizes fall from where the flap is. Vending machines over priced like $2 for a bag of m&ms and 2.25 for a KitKat?! And the pool closes at 5 PM. Many people use that hotel especially for the Hershey Park and we expected to go to the park and come back to take a dip in the pool to cool off, but instead they close the pool extra early. Then the workout machines don't work. Only the step and treadmill worked. The good part about this hotel however was that it was super clean and the lobby was absolutely beautiful. Rooms were nothing impressive though :) definitely wish we went to another hotel though

My Dad embarked on a solo motorcycle trip and I wanted to surprise him with a drink when he arrived after a long day. I called early in the morning and Peter and his staff were quick to figure out a plan for me despite the pub closure. He even offered to personalize the gift with a note. It really made my day to be able to do this and I was so impressed that the ownership Peter took over this silly small task that could have easily been denied by them. He went above and beyond and if I'm ever in the area I'm sure to stay with this hotel. Thanks again!

Many families are itching for a vacation but are also apprehensive because of safety and health precautions. Rest assured, this hotel lived up to all expectations with its cleanliness and safety measures. According to Best Western, all rooms are cleaned with hospital grade products and left vacant for 24-48 hrs before next booking. It smelt and felt clean and the beds are so comfy. The family suite gives the perfect amount of room. Peter (GM) and team were always out asking guests about their stay. Elka at O'Reilly's was ready to serve you for breakfast. AND your only 10 mi away from Hershey park and other great attractions. Highly recommend

Our business stays at this hotel every month when we make a trip to our satellite office. We feel very at home here, and it has the best room service from O'Reilly's. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here if they're in the area.

Long time visitor to the Hershey area, first time staying at this hotel. Older hotel but very clean with exceptional staff. Stayed in a family suite which had 3 beds, fridge and microwave, made our stay very comfortable. O'Riellys tap room has really good food (large portions) at reasonable prices. Pool is very nice but you do hear all the noise if you are in a first floor room alongside.. Will definitely stay again!

Very comfortable hotel, with lots of restaurants in the neighborhood and a very nice breakfast. Ideal for a family of four if you don't mind sharing the room for one night. But it was a good place to stay on our way to Hershey's.

This establishment is convenient and extremely clean. The restaurant is fantastic. This is a convention hotel but the staff makes you feel like a guest at a Luxury resort. My accommodations were updated, fresh and sanitized. I stay here at least twice monthly and recommend it. Chelsea and Peter J had me in the room and comfy in less than five minutes.

We traveled for 5 weeks, ending our planned trip early due to Covid19. We stayed 20 different nights at a variety of Best Westerns. I have to share how well each of these hotels met and/or exceeded our expectations. We felt confident that all was being done to protect us, that could be. We saw meetings being held with staff to update them and saw measures taken to keep us safe. Most of the buildings were either in good repair or being fixed up. Some of the rooms needed some sprucing up or updating, but cleanliness is most important to us and most were. All beds were comfortable. Most had a good choice of breakfast offerings, until the bag lunch was begun, which was understandable, and even then, some served a hot breakfast to take to your room. Staff members were always friendly and willing to help. Locations are also very good for travelers on the move. We also really appreciated that we were Best Western card members. We were shown appreciation by receiving extra points and sometimes snacks and ended up getting a few free nights in the process. I love their program. I just had to send this shout out for our appreciation. Good job.

Whenever you are in Harrisburg, you must stay at the Best Western Premier and enjoy the outstanding breakfast provided by Elke and her staff. You pay a little more for the hotel. But overall, you will not be disappointed!

We booked this room specifically so we could travel with our dogs. These folks were super accommodating and the price was very reasonable. Our boy wanted a pool and we had one a few doors down, very convenient. The room was a pet room but it was very clean anyway. The entire stay was beyond our expecations!

We have used this hotel for overnight stops nunerous times and have always received great service, from the desk staff to the maid service. The attached restaurant has always something that our passengers look forward to when they know we are stopping for the night. Recomend you get there early for happy hour

Stay here every time we are in Harrisburg. Reasonably priced, clean & quite rooms. Friendly staff. Kids LOVE the indoor pool. Attached resturant is a BIG PLUS and you get 10% discount when eating in or ordering rooms service. Food is very good. Stay here. You won't be disappointed.

Great hotel with friendly staff. We were traveling on Christmas Eve so a lot of places were closed. Front desk staff helped us find a great place nearby to have dinner and made sure we had a good continental breakfast before heading off on Christmas morning. Room was very clean and comfortable.

During my 9 day stay along with other outfitters in my group I received hands down excellent service and hospitality. Breakfast was outstanding and the Bar/Restaurant served the best food I've had at a hotel. We always reserve for the following year prior to our departure.

This is a great hotel if you are in the Harrisburg PA area. They have clean rooms, indoor pool and fitness center, an Irish Pub, shuttle transportation and free wifi. Coffee and tea available in lobby at all hours. Friendly staff. Lots of free parking.

You won't regret a short or long stay at this Best Western Prenier property. From staff at front desk, housekeeping, restuarant, etc. all were very accomodating and pleasant. Kudos to the GM - Peter for maintaing this positive atitude year after year! As a longtime guest it makes our choice to stay here an easy one.

Had a wonderful brunch with mom and family for mother's day 2019. Will definitely do it again this year. Brunch was not crowded and the food was good and well stocked. Desserts were plentiful and delicious.

Traveled to Harrisburg for the NRA GAOS. We were beyond exhausted. The hotel was spotless. Beds comfortable. Food accomodations great. The game room could use some updating for older teens/young adults (pin ball machine). It would have been nice for the 2 bedroom suite to have 2 restrooms.

This hotel had it all! They were close to our venue, offered a shuttlebus, had an Irish pub attached to the restaurant. But what really made the difference--was the staff! Everyone was exceptional! The people at the desk, the housekeeping staff, the shuttlebus drivers, and everyone in the pub. Best overall service I have had anywhere!

This is a very clean, very nice hotel. The room was clean and the bathroom was beautiful. The hotel has has a nice pool and a game room that we enjoyed even though we are not kids. It even has a laundry room with a TV to watch while hanging out. One of the best BW's I've stayed in. It does not include the free breakfast but there is a restaurant in the hotel that does a nice breakfast buffet.

Came here for The Great American Outdoor show , a lot of people and activity . The staff were great and very helpful , room was very clean and comfotable. Sadly couldn't stay the whole weekend for the show due to work , however this is where I'm booking if I ever get back here. Everything is close by so it isn't to bad a commute to the convention center or other attractions.

This hotel met my requirements: clean room with no smells and quiet. They also exceeded my expectations! All the staff was on point: front desk, the restaurant staff, room service. I received great customer service all around. I stayed in the new wing and it was very cosy and comfortable. Gym was clean and had nice new machines. Food at O'Briens was excellent.

Very inviting ambience ! After 6 hours of driving walking into this hotel was so calming. Loved the lighting and the welcome received. In house restaurant and bar no need to drive again after a long day on the road. Room was clean and comfortable very inviting. We hope to stop in again on our way North again in the spring. We did not think that such a luxurious place would allow dogs. When we stopped at the front desk to ask they smiled and said "Oh we love dogs they are welcome".WE WILL BACK !

A mini family reunion was held at this hotel, primarily with the purpose of enjoying the hotel restaurant/bar, O'Reilly's. We enjoyed our stay, which was not our first, and highly recommend this hotel for it's location, cleanliness, and amenities, including indoor heated pool and of course, O'Reilly's. Be sure to say hello to Taylor, the bar manager, who provides exemplary service!

When you ask for a room with a walk in shower, the front desk should know if the room has a tub or a walk in shower. Staff should know their product! The breakfast buffet was an outstanding value expecially with the coupon that is offered at checkin. In general, very nice stay!

When traveling between Florida and New York, I tried something different this time. I usually search for the cheapest hotel that has a decent rating. This time, I searched for the highest-rated hotels...that were affordable. It worked out very well, and this place is a perfect example. It's a very classy, well-appointed hotel. I have paid three times as much and stayed in places that were not close in quality. Staff was friendly and efficient. Bar/restaurant was nice and food was good. Highly reccommended.

This was by far the best hotel I have stayed at in a long time. The hotel was clean and the restaurant on site was amazing for the price and amount of food we got. We went for the weekend to attend the Farm Show and even though it is twelve minutes away it is worth the stay. Their pool was amazing and it was nice to relax after a long day.

When I found out we had to stay at a Best Western for our hockey tournament, I was horrified. After reading the Trip Advisor reviews for this property, I felt much better. We stayed 4 nights and I have to say it was a very nice hotel. I always thought Best Western was like a Super8 but this location was more like a Marriott or Hilton. In fact, I liked it much better than some of the Marriott and Hilton's we have recently stayed at. What's to like....the lobby is very pretty. Tons of places for groups to congregate. The front desk staff was pleasant at every interaction. Our room was very clean (except for our ice bucket which I wrote off as an oversight). The beds were comfortable. The room was quiet. It had a mini fridge and microwave, blackout curtains, ample closet and drawer space. Why only 4 stars....the entire 3rd floor wreaked like cigarettes. Our room did not but the hallways did and sometimes when we opened our door the stink came in. It was not a stale smoke smell. Someone had to be smoking a lot for it to be so strong because it was even burning our eyes. The shower water pressure was not great. The WiFi was hit and miss. One of the really awesome things about this hotel was that the management gave our hockey group (7 teams) access to the conference room. The kids played knee hockey and team dinners were held in here. This was very smart on their part because it isolated the kids from the other guests, providing them with a place to hang out without disturbing the non hockey guests. I also want to mention that our room was missed by housekeeping one day (partially our fault because one of our boys was in the room until 11:45am). When we got back in the evening we were disappointed our beds were not made but mostly because we didn't have any fresh towels. I called the front desk and within just a couple minutes, fresh towels were at our door. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and I think for the most part they get it right. They do need to be more diligent in enforcing health and safety issues like the smoking and I also noticed pets on the balcony on the 2nd floor when only the 1st floor was supposed to be pet friendly. Other than that, everything else was perfectly acceptable and we were satisfied with our stay.

My daughter and I always feel so well taken care of at this hotel. This is the only place we'll stay when we go to Hersheypark. They adjusted our reservation a few days prior due to weather concerns with no problems. Love the poolside room experience.

We had a pleasant experience staying at the Best Western Central Hotel and Conference Center. Our room was well appointed, the staff we came in contact with were friendly and the attached pub was nice. All in all, we had a nice stay

I stayed here in December of 2019 for a wedding held at this venue. The staff was exceptional and treated us like royalty. The food was delicious and the rooms were great too. Every detail was covered and we had a great time!

I really liked staying at the Best Western Premier in Harrisburg! I stayed December 18-19, 2019! I came up for Hershey Christmas Candylane as part of being a Season Pass Holder and to bring a friend. When I arrived, the front desk staff member was very welcoming and accommodating. I appreciate being recognized and thanked as a Best Western Diamond Elite Member by an option of a welcome gift or points, I went for the gift. The hot beverages and cookies were great, I think as part of National Cookie Day the hotel wanted to share for holiday spirit. I was laid back at this hotel and used the room as much as possible before check out time. The beds were really comfortable in the room. There were renovations but this property did great at managing that while accommodating guests. The housekeeping staff were really nice on my last day, I liked the conversation my friend and I had with them. Best Western has a great reputation as the staff are like family. I was almost out of time to redeem my free night voucher for BW Rush promotion. I highly recommend having an account with Best Western as they treat their reward members well. I will definitely come back and stay here for my Hershey Park trips.

Good Location, the lobby was beautiful for Christmas. There is construction right now. So didn't get to enjoy the game room to what we thought it was. But, staff was very nice and accommodating. Woud stay here again.

My youngest daughter had her wedding celebration at the Central Hotel this past weekend and it was fantastic! From the very beginning of the wedding planning Jess guided us step by step helping, but never overshadowing, with every detail. The wedding was as stress free as possible because everyone involved knew what they were doing! The staff was absolutely exceptional! They were on top of everything! And the food was delicious, served promptly and graciously and , just what we ordered. The whole experience was excellent and I will recommend this venue to my friends. .

Had a wonderful time at the best Western Premier in Harrisburg. Was there for a family gathering/holiday party. Staff was wonderful... both at the front desk and in our party room. The rooms are very comfortable. The central lobby is wonderful for gathering and was decorated beautifully for Christmas.

Traveling for work is tough, being away from home and family. This Fantastic Facility, made traveling very comfortable! Friendly Staff , Beautiful Facility, and they give you all the comforts of home! The Location is excellent!

We had apx 50 football players and their families in this group outing and the hotel was beyond accommodating and it was a wonderful stay for everyone. I would stay at this hotel any time, we plan to return to the hotel in upcoming months to visit family.

I have been staying at this motel for the past 13 years for the Christmas craft show. Everyone has always been so friendly and helpful. We even got a room upgrade one year. They will do everything to make your stay a wonderful experience.

Used as a stopping off point on the way to New York. Good clean hotel with plnety of parking outside. There was an Irish themed bar/resturant adjacent to the hotel that did an excellent breakfast and evening meal with good beer and an excellent atmosphere. Would stay here again if I was in the area, and great value for money at around £75

My son got locked in the bathroom for an hour as the lock was on the wrong side of the door, When the incident was reported to the manager of the hotel he did not seem to care and in fact gave me the impression that he thought i was lying. I have never had a bad experience such as this at a hotel.

Watched guest in front of me attack the hostess elka and was very rude. The hostesa handled the situation very well and professional. She was great! She really handled the situation with grace and poise.

Very nice hotel with lounge that offers good food and great beer selection. There is a pool available for families, a decent gym, and they enforce a quiet time beginning at 10 pm, which is nice for business travelers

Overall, we had an okay stay at this property. The location is nice as it is easy access from the highway. That said, there are not a ton of options for food nearby and the on-site restaurant is mediocre. The staff were excellent and the check-in and out process was easy. Our room was huge with updated furniture and a very nice bathroom. That said, our bathroom was not stocked with any soap and the sofa in our room was covered in cat or dog hair and the carpet did not appear to have been cleaned in some time. We were there for a quick night stay so we chose not to complain as we just wanted to sleep.

I got to the hotel late at night. I was tired and just wante to get to my roo. They had me checked in in less than 10 minutes, they were polite and frriendly. My room was neat and clean. I had no problems

Rooms were extremely clean and updated. Lobby is gorgeous, but most of all the members of the staff from the front desk, caterers, waitresses, maintenance, and housekeepers went out of there way to make you feel welcomed at their property. The staff made a lasting impression.

Clean, affordable, wonderful service! We used the business center, which is open 24-7, and printed some needed documents for our flight. We also used the shuttle service which was beyond wonderful! Our daughter got sick in the lobby right before we left and they were so kind about it! The shuttle driver was great!! He helped us load and unload all 7 of our huge bags and a dog crate. So thankful this hotel is pet friendly and offered the free shuttle!

We stayed while participating in a baseball tournament in Hershey. The pool is huge and the team and siblings enjoyed playing there. Lots of room for everyone. Nice pool deck, too. The arcade was fun as well. The rooms were large and comfortable. A little noisy on the interstate side with traffic. Beds were good. We did have a problem with our TV that was never resolved. Missed watching a post-season baseball game. The lobby is a great place to socialize. Do carry out from the onsite restaurant and eat in the lobby. A great time and would definitely return.

We weren't there long. The pool was lovely. No safe in the room. No breakfast included. Coffee available in the morning. Received 10% off our meal in the Irish pub. Food was good. Close to Hershey. Price was good.

The room was great-clean and comfortable. There is a good restaurant on premises. There were lots of carts to bring the luggage in. We wanted to go to the Civil War Museum and we were a 10 minutes away using neighborhood streets. I look forward to staying there again.

first off the staff is the best in the world. they bend over backwards to make sure you stay is the best ever. I requested a room close to the main lobby and they did so. The pool was just the rite temp. for me, and I had the whole pool to myself. If you are haveing an affare see Meggan W ,she is the very best at what she does

Very clean and lovely room. Restaurant/Bar was very nice. Food was excellent. We were there for a Military reunion and were disappointed in the service for our hospitality room. We were promised ice and containers for our drinks. The containers were never supplied.

Me and my daughters were attacked by bedbugs. This was reported to the hotels management and I've yet to receive a response to my numerous emails and phone calls. This hotel was filthy and a total rip off. I'm my personal opinion, only a fool that likes bugs and filth and weird smells would stay here.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 night and worked at the PAC-TE educator conference in October 2019. I would highly recommend hosting any event here (i'm now considering having my wedding reception here!) The staff are SO sweet and accommodating. The food was great, and as a vegetarian I was especially impressed with the vegetarian meals. Vegetarian meals are often just okay at conferences, but these were delicious. The lobby is beautiful, there is free water and coffee set up in the lobby, and the pool is stunning and warm.There is a fitness center and some games. There is parking on site and a restaurant. The rooms were clean and large and there was a candy bar and handwritten note on my bed when I came in the room! I will say that I thought the beds and sheets could have been more comfy. Overall this is a beautiful place with incredible staff! I was very happy with my stay here and would 110% recommend it for a conference or event.

From start to finish the BWP in Harrisburg was exceptional. The facility was fantastic & encouraged networking and collaboration. The banquet facility and staff were the best I've worked with. They were extremely responsive to our needs and timely with support. And, the pool, was just the right way for me to unwind and get some exercise!

I recently stayed at the Best Western Premier and was involved with a PA educators conference at this location. The staff was proactive and attentive. Due to the conference schedule, they were constantly changing over rooms for different events with efficiency and clear communication. The overall culture of the staff was dynamic! Wayne was very helpful with technology support as needed. Don checked in with the registration desk often to ensure any of our needs were met. Derrick facilitated the room changes with ease. The full staff, from check-in to dinner and lunch service was personable, friendly, and genuine. Thank you, again for all of your hard work and dedication!

I helped to organize an HR Conference at the hotel for 200 people. The facilities and staff were amazing! The hotel is beautiful, Liz the event planner was amazing, Don the equipment and facilities staff was extremely helpful and Vincent with catering was fabulous. This is a great hotel for business events and the staff is wonderful to work with!

The Best Western Premier in Harrisburg is a well-run hotel with clean rooms and strong meeting facilities. The staff is well-trained and incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are large with nice amenities and comfortable beds. The nightly rates are priced less than other chain hotels in the area. Don't let this fool you. This hotel holds up as nice or nicer than its competitors.

We had a great experience at this hotel from the moment we checked in until the time we left. Very attractive property with a restaurant (pub) opened for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is not included but you do get $4 off the buffet. You can also order off the menu. The location is close to the interstate so convenient when traveling. Our room (2 Queens) was very large and seemed to be recently updated. The lobby is very impressive as you can see in the photos. We will return to this hotel without hesitation.

I had planned to stay just one night but extended it to another (and would have extended longer if I had the time). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable and nicely laid out. Everything was top notch.

Stayed with my husband and 2 young sons for a long weekend. Based on other reviews we asked for a quiet room away from the highway. Our room was on the interior, facing the pool. It was a little loud the first night but only until about 9:00 after which all the kids went to bed and there was no noise the rest of our stay. If you're staying when school is out you may want to consider a room away from the pool as I can imagine it gets pretty loud. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. No issues at all. The breakfast in O'Reilly's was decent and reasonably priced. There were a lot of choices and we did not have to wait to be seated ever. There was coffee/tea/water provided in the lobby 24 hours a day but in the evenings the coffee was pretty cold. I'm an evening coffee drinker so this was a little disappointing but we made do. The pool was very nice and was kept pretty warm. The day we used it we had the whole place to ourselves. Showers were hot and the water pressure strong. The beds were on the firm side, but I like that, and the pillows were very comfortable. Overall it was a great stay and I'd definitely stay here again.

I am left speechless after my telephone interaction with the front desk manager, Michael. I have stayed at this exact hotel many years (back when Steve at the front desk was a shuttle driver!) He's why we came back initially! After calling to book a stay using the advertised Great American Outdoor Show (GAOS) rate of $109.95 a night I am disgusted. The woman I spoke to at first told me I need to stay at least 6 nights to get that rate. I said I have been staying there for many years and I have never stayed more than 3-4 nights and have always paid the GAOS rate. She was unaware of any changes and transferred me to Micheal, the supervisor at the time of my phone call. Michael informed me the same, when I tried to explain to him that I've stayed at this hotel for a least 4 years in a row and have always gotten that rate his response was, "Looks like you're not getting it this year." In a very arrogant tone. I said I have left many highly rated reviews on TripAdvisor for this hotel due to my past satisfaction in which his response was, "Have a nice day." He then hung up on me. I called back from the same number twice to get no answer. I called a 3rd time from a blocked number and Michael answered on the first ring. At this point I asked to speak to the Hotel Manager who he informed me was Peter. I left Peter a very detailed message and do hope Peter has a recorded phone call as Michael might be in the wrong profession. I did report my interactions with GAOS as well! It's sad that my hotel loyalty means nothing to this hotel.

This is a excellent place to stay. They will treat you very well. The hospitality is unreal they always make sure everything great. The food was very good and service was also very good . I used the work out facility and was very clean and they also had towels to use and wipes to clean the machines.

My husband and i went to hershey for the weekend. Our stay was very nice the staff was great, room was really nice and clean i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone if u ever come in this direction.

I have always enjoyed staying at this hotel over the past 6 years. This was the first year we ran into the hotel being dog friendly. This is good for a few, but not for this gal, especially when the animal is barking in the early morning hours and owners only yell and don't attend to their pet's needs. I understand service dogs, but they have certificates of being service dogs. I don't like staying in a Kennel, I like staying in a hotel room.

We found this hotel by accident last spring. Our normal hotel was being renovated and we were not able to hold our bi monthly meeting there. The Central Hotel was able to accommodate our needs on a very short notice. The sales office has worked with us to accommodate our groups needs from hotel rooms to extension cords. EVERY member of the staff from the front desk to the food servers are personable, helpful and accommodating. Very positive experience and we will continue to use this venue for meeting in Harrisburg. Also a very good value and competitive pricing. Very clean hotel rooms and meeting rooms.

Loud party outside the room after checking in, after clearly needing rest. No warning. Checked out immediately. Was told the pool was unavailable; turns out, unavailable meant a party going until 1 am. Disastrous stay.

The staff of this hotel is great. We were in the area visiting a friend (who booked the room) and when we arrived the front desk told us our reservation was for a different night. The desk person quickly got a manager involved and our reservation was changed without a hassle. This hotel is located right off the highway, but noise was never an issue. There were confrences both days we were there, so the parking lot was a little crowed. The room and restroom were clean and a good size.

The Best Western Premier is a lovely hotel located a few minutes from downtown Harrisburg. The staff and rooms are great. I stay here for business a few times a month. It makes for a comfortable “second home”.

I was attending a conference on September 19 and when I went to leave my car would not start. Courtney contacted Mike Dickey the food & beverage manager and he contacted AAA for me. They helped me through a stressful expreience and waited until my car was fixed. That is going above and beyond.

Great location right off Route 81 & 83. Close to places in Harrisburg and Hershey to visit. Very easy property to navigate for various meetings and meeting rooms. Nice bar/restaurant with outdoor seating.

There's nothing like waking up and deciding to embark on an impromptu road trip. I passed through Harrisburg one day and always wanted to visit. My wife and I loaded the car and booked this Best Western via Hotels.com. Upon arriving, I was immediately surprised by how nice the outside appearance was. The large parking lot seemed to be big enough for a stadium. There was plenty of parking to go around. The entrance of the hotel was grand. A large overhand shielded me from the sun as I walked inside with our bags. A kind lady greeted me at the front desk. She promptly gave us our room and we made our way to the room. I booked a King but due to over capacity they gave us double queens. No big deal. I received a text message from the hotel moments after I crossed the threshold. It was a live person checking to see how things were. That was a pleasant touch. Our room was very clean. It had everything you'd come to expect from a standard chain hotel. I didn't anything out of the norm and was quite pleased with the set up. Our beds were soft and had an adjustable softness thing-a-ma-jig, which made sleeping great. Overall I thought it was a decent place to stay. I would definitely stay here again. I'd avoid the breakfast at the pub connected to the hotel. Now I do recommend the pizza buffet at the shopping center next to the hotel, called Infernitos. It's worth a try. If you're looking for a great hotel in the area that's relatively cheap, this is the hotel for you.

Just enjoyed a delicious meal in O'Reilly's Tap Room and Kitchen. I would usually not recommend a hotel's restaurant, but this one is the exception. I experienced outstanding food and great service; everyone from the hostess to the wait staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was well prepared for hotel guests and the Front Desk staff were eager to help. The staff passing by in the hallway all said hello with a smile. Happy to recommend this hotel to future guests.

From the attractive lobby, to the warm welcome by Steve at the front desk, and at every step throughout the rest of our stay, we were quite satisfied. Our room was quiet, clean, comfortable and attractively decorated. Traveling with our dog, it was easy to step out of a side door on our corridor to the nearby designated pet walking area. Our favorite restaurant in the area, Harvest Grill, is just a few minutes drive away and also allows dogs (on their patio) so our overnight stop was as good as it gets!

I stayed at the BW Premier Central Hotel for the first time, on a business trip through Harrisburg and what a treat! This hotel gets it. What's to like? Super friendly staff; spotlessly clean in the public areas, restaurant, and my room; comfortable bed; quiet and adequate AC; huge HTDV; microwave and refrigerator in my room; fast WiFi. I enjoyed dinner in O'Reilly's and see now why it has such great reviews. My server was attentive, the ambiance was just perfect (not too loud, good lighting, clean), and the 1/2 roasted chicken dinner was scrumptious. I can't say enough about this hotel. It's my new favorite in Harrisburg and I will definitely be back!

Unique layout of hotel and nice decorations on the property. Employees are courteous and overall experience was positive. The room I was in needed some attention as there were signs of peeling wallpaper and loose ceiling moldings. Also, the bathtub seemed dated. The pool is maintained adequately.

This is a beautiful hotel with super friendly and professional staff. Our room was clean and beds super comfortable. There is a restaurant in house and we enjoyed the happy hour beverages and food. The only downside was there is no continental breakfast and although pet friendly, charged a $30 pet fee. For the price, at least breakfast should be included.

We only stayed here one night, but we had a great time. Queens size bed. We got the rooms on Priceline. We have stayed here for last several trips to Hersheypark. I didn't know they have discounted tickets to Hershey Park. I have always gone to Giant Supermarket for the tickets. This last time, we went to AAA, but we had to make a trip to get it.

Very nice place. We stayed in double queen bed room with 5 people. Me the wife and our three kids.Enough room for everyone. Nice pool area and game room to keep kids busy. Didn't check out till 12 noon so that gave us time to sleep in.

They need to let people know they are about 13 miles from Hershey instead of advertising differently. Overpriced and front desk staff not willing to help. Seemed as though it was a bother to check in. Would rather pay a little extra and actually stay closer to Hershey

I love the ambiance, cleanliness and hospitality of the hotel staff. Rooms are always clean. Pool area is indoor with a feel of being outdoors. The pool is also temp controlled. Just minutes away from the theme parks and a walk away from a plethora of stores, shops and restaurants. Oh, and the price you get all this for it amazing! I always stay here whenever in Hershey and has not been disappointed thus far!

Stayed for 2 nights in a 2 Queen Room with our 2 Kids. Room was spotless and on the 3rd floor with an inside view overlooking the pool. The hotel staff were very friendly. Pool was nice and we also really enjoyed eating dinner and breakfast at O'Reilly's, the attached Irish Pub. Location was great, about 15-20 minutes drive from Hershey Park. We will definitely return to this hotel if in the Harrisburg / Hershey Area.

We were in Harrisburg for two nights. The city itself and nearby attractions were pretty great (well worth a visit). The hotel review is mixed however. The hotel is a former Sheraton (I think) and the lobby is pretty cool. There is a pool, gym, games room and restaurant. The hotel is a 10 min drive from the CBD. The room was nice enough however we were located facing I-83 and got truck noise all night. Ear plugs were partially helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room was unfortunately just very noisy. Some of the front desk staff were unfortunately quite dismissive when informed of an issue with a wifi outage (which lasted more than 14 hours). Some more understanding and kindness from the front desk would have been much appreciated when a guest has a genuine problem to report. I would still consider the hotel for future stays, but I would ask for a room not facing the Interstate and hope that next time the front desk staff were more helpful and kind when responding to reasonable guest issues.

Staff was wonderful, rooms were spacious and clean. We had a work conference in the hotel during our stay which made it convenient for our company. We would recommend this hotel for the future. It is also located near many different stores, restaurants, and venues.

Can't remember the last time I stayed at a Best Western but if this is supposed to be one of their better properties, I'm not impressed. Our king bed room was very poorly done. Crown moldings and wallpaper looked like a kid installed them. Bathroom door super squeaky and the TV service was terrible. Looked like satellite on a stormy day but it was clear weather. Drinks in the bar had us sticking to beer and iced tea. The A/C in the lobby and lounge were set to hang meat!

We use this facility for our corporate meetings. The staff is always willing to accommodate last minute needs. They are courteous, professional and are very helpful. We have utilized them many many times, and it is always the same! Victor and his food staff are amazing. Derek and his set up team are equally amazing. Thanks to all for another great experience.

stayed 2 nites..... price very reasonable, great big indoor heated pool that was very very clean, hotel had a deal with restaurant (O'Reillys) for breakfast buffet ,and lunch and dinner... very good food... discounted Hershey tickets...only 20 minutes for Hershey but well worth it!!!!!!!!!!

We arrived at 1 AM and were greeted with a smile and helpful service. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Our room was exceptionally clean and I noticed the hallway carpets were very clean as well. The whole atmosphere is updated and pleasant. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times for work. The rooms are decent, not what I deem premier. The staff are ok, it would be nice if the courtesy van would take guests to restaurants in the area (at least 3-5 miles). The pub connected is pretty good, I've arrived late and needed to eat.

Very courteous and helpful staff. Check in and out were very fast. Mattresses not too comfortable. Not too far from Hershey Park which was nice. The pool area was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. Good value.

The hotel was nice, restaurant was okay. Staff at hotel and restaurant was nice. My big problem with my stay was I paid cash for my stay upon checking in. I gave the desk clerk my credit card for incidental charges which should have been $25 per day for a total of $75. But what happen was my card got charged another $650.32!!! It took several hours of me contacting my bank, the hotel contacting their merchant before we settled on the hotel refunding me my cash and me authorizing them to take the credit card charge. This was after I was told there was nothing anyone could do and I was going to have to wait until the charge settled and then I could disputed with my bank. They gave my party of five a free breakfast!

Dog friendly hotel! Our Airedale & Welsh Terrier enjoyed it. Conveniently located off I-81/83... nicely appointed rooms. Ask for room not facing highway! Large field/lawn adjacent to parking lot to exercise pets... poop stations. Full service hotel with restaurant, room service, and emnities include indoor pool, exercise equipment, etc.

This was a great hotel. Free water, coffee and tea all day. There was free popcorn and 50 cent ice cream in the lobby as well. When we called to ask for more towels or blankets they responded quickly. My only complaint was they didnt clean our room until after 330. We had already returned so we didnt have the room cleaned. Overall great experience. I would definitely stay there again

The king room was well appointed & the complimentary lobby coffee was surprisingly good for hotel coffee. There was a significant amount of highway noise in the room, and the doors aren't particularly soundproof, but otherwise this was a perfectly pleasant overnight.

My husband and I booked a room here because we were in town for the Mecum Car Auction. We loved the lobby, it was very inviting. The room was super clean and the bed was comfy. We also had drinks at the bar and the wait staff was very attentive. Would definitely stay here again!

Great experience staying in one of the nicest hotels in the Harrisburg/Hershey area. Manager made us feel list vip guests on first visit. Had an issue with reservation & received a call back to straighten out the matter. Even got a Hershey bar at checkin. Hotel restaurant was amazing. Great stay throughout, hope to return soon.

We've stayed here annually for our family trips to Hersheypark. Yes, there are a ton of hotels in Hershey that are closer, but at double the cost. It's only a 12 minute easy drive to the park and frankly at the end of the day it's a nice buffer before trying to get oversugared kids to bed LoL! The hotel is always clean with a great lobby space and nice rooms. I appreciate the refrigerator and microwave in the room, and the beds are comfortable. We always spend time at the indoor pool, which is large and has plenty of seating and tables. The workout facility is modern and clean. The restaurant is actually an Irish pub style place and the food is better than many hotel restaurants. Mostly we take advantage of the breakfast buffet once per trip, which is really affordable for my family if 5. Most importantly, I do book this place because of the fair rate, but my wife is happy and doesn't think I'm being cheap. She loves it here too, and she's a tough critic!

Had an issue with the internet not working, room was a little noisy buy tolerable. Restaurant was super convenient. Service was Great. I slept comfortably, which was surprising, beds were very comfortable

As you walk into the hotel the lobby is gorgeous especially at night. Eveyone i dealt with at the front desk was super friendly and funny. I wish I got to enjoy the included restaurant but our agenda took up most of the daytime. As for the room it was clean and comfortable, carpets and wallpaper seemed outdated but I'm not complaining. If I'm ever in the area again there is no doubt I'll be staying here. Also, if your planning a trip to the park they offer $40 tickets at the front desk which is a very good deal. Thank you to the staff for being so helpful, they are the reason I'll be returning to this hotel.

We take an annual trip with friends to Hershey every year and this is our go to hotel. Staff is great and rooms are large and clean. Some rooms open up right to the pool which is a nice for those traveling with kids. The doors have an alarm for those concerned about kids heading to the pool on their own. There is coffee and water in the large lobby area and O'Neill's is great for breakfast and dinner before or after the park. This year was busier than usual because of some local area baseball tournaments. Don't get me wrong, my kids do travel sport too but with the large number of kids, the pool was packed and there were groups of young boys running around that hotel unsupervised. Overall, still a great time and would stay again next year.

Family friendly, clean rooms and great staff! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The onsite bar/restaurant was a huge plus and we really enjoyed the pool! The complimentary popcorn and 50 cent ice cream in the lobby was a bonus for our daughter as well!

My first stay at this particular hotel and I was very pleased. Lovely meeting spaces, attentive staff, comfortably appointed rooms, the conference food was good, some meals more than others, but the service staff was phenomenal.

I was in town for a conference and had never stayed at a Best Western. This hotel was beautiful - and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again. Quiet hallways so you could actually sleep at night and a great breakfast buffet for a reasonable price.

Pros: The hotel was convenient and clean, there was a coffee maker, small fridge and safe in the room, had a pool/small arcade room for kids Cons: had issues with fire alarm battery upon entry, air conditioner on the fritz so we had to move to a new room, first bed was average but second bed was terrible, double queen room was small for 4..better suited to 1 or 2 guests, some upkeep needed in bathroom

I specifically booked this hotel after receiving a recommendation from a friend mostly since they had a very affordable suite for my family of four. The hotel is about a 15 minutes drive from Hershey and very convenient to Harrisburg. Upon entering the hotel we were surprised to find a "happy hour" of popcorn and ice cream in the lobby and we received hershey bars when we checked in. The pool is great - very warm, but this was a really nice thing to have at end of day after a hot day at Hershey. The rooms were spacious and overlooked the pool. As for the 3rd floor if you prefer not t have 1st floor access to the pool. A large sized refrigerator for our drinks was helpful, with two counter tops and sinks for all of our stuff. Both rooms had tvs and the kids' room had no windows which made it very dark. We brought a nightlight for this reason. Still they did not sleep in. :) The rooms could use some updating (cracks on the ceiling, stains on some of the walls, etc) but we felt that it was secure and clean. We ate breakfast at O'Reilly's which my daughter loved since she had the buffet and tried EVERYTHING. I found it to be typical hotel breakfast fare. We also had two dinners at the restaurant which were great. The restaurant staff was very accommodating and helpful and made great recommendations (get the smoked chicken or the wings!). This hotel is close to a grocery store (Giant) and some chain restaurants (Texas Steak House, Dunkin, McDonalds, etc) so convenience factor was high. All in all a great experience. If we ever head back to Hershey we will definitely stay here.

We had a room on the second floor and they may as well have put our beds on the highway! So loud! Been on holiday in the US for 3 weeks now and that 1 night would've been the worst sleep we have ever had! Near on $300 AUD a night I expected better!

Stayed here July of 2019 on a visit to Hersheypark. This is one of the nicer hotels in the area that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. The hotel is decent and the room itself is nice but there were several things that just irritated us throughout our stay. The A/C unit above ours would just drip onto our A/C unit and the dripping sound was quite loud and annoying (and constant throughout our stay). The hallway and bathroom doors would also get "stuck" and be very difficult to open and close. Finally, a couple of the outlets by the bed we hoped to use to charge electronics were controlled by the light switch by the front door, which also controlled the big light by the front door. If we wanted to charge anything using those outlets, the light also had to be gone meaning we couldn't charge overnight. Overall, the hotel, room, and price are nice enough but it was also irritating enough that I'm not sure I would return.

We love staying at this hotel for our yearly hershey trip, its only a 20 minute drive. The family suite is perfect for our family of 6, plenty of room. The beds are comfortable and we just ordered the pillows when we got home. The room has a refrigerator and microwave, coffee machine. Our room had a door that lead to the pool area, which was great. My kids love the flavored water, popcorn and ice cream (and coffee too) in the lobby. We cant wait to come back!

Very clean and welcoming hotel. Very quiet hotel after 10 pm. The pool was clean and warm. We went to the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The meals were large and well worth the money (my husband and I shared some meals). Strongly recommend

First impression on outside appearance is excellent. Check in was easy and very friendly. During summer months they are usually booked at 98% because of Hershey Park. As a conference center they do very well booking events and meetings. Property is well kept but it is an older hotel. Hotels in this chain usually provide free breakfast - this one does not. They give you a $4 credit for hot buffet (normal price is $15).

From start to finish the staff went above and beyond for us. We were there to visit Hershey Park. The hotel had something for everyone. Food at the bar was great. Kid friendly with popcorn and ice cream and this is not a hotel that charges for everything this is a hotel that puts guests and their families first

This was my 12th stay at this hotel and it was great as always. We got great service from everyone here. We got a nice room at a reasonable price. The hotel itself has some great amenities (pool, restaurant, computers). There are a lot of hotels in the Harrisburg area, but this is the only one I ever stay at. I will definitely be back

The hotel and it's staff are very accommodating. Pool area is large with key card entrance only which I find is a nice security feature . The restaurant/bar was great and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The servers were attentive and caring . The hotel is reasonably close to Hershey park and the outlets

My daughter and I have stayed at this hotel on each of our trips to Hershey over the past 4-5 years. They go out of their way to make everything great for you. We love the pop corn and ice cream in the lobby and the indoor pool is fabulous. I've used the exercise bikes in the fitness center and they worked just fine for me.

We were visiting Pennsylvania from all over the US for the 11th Army Airborne division reunion. Our stay from beginning to end was unmatchable. Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. It felt as though the entire team was committed to providing us with a wonderful stay. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. We were provided with Hospitality room for our group and it had any and all amenities we could have wished for. The location is perfect for any sightseeing and the staff provided plenty of information about local points of interest. The restaurant is a must try! The good was delicious and the portions were HUGE!

If you're making the trip to Harrisburg, this is a great place to stay. Whether for an event or for visiting Hershey Park with the kids, this has what you're looking for in a hotel. Very spacious rooms with suites available for bigger groups. Indoor pool for the kids and a really nice restaurant that is family friendly in terms of price and atmosphere. The front desk staff was super helpful in terms of local places to check out.

We had a great stay. The room needed some updating but it was very clean and comfortable. The indoor pool was enjoyable for the kids, but on Saturday afternoon there were not enough chairs to sit. This hotel is about a 20 min drive to Hersheypark. O'Reillys has great food and happy hour specials and hotel guests get discounts. The staff at the front desk were very nice. We would stay here again.

Here for a conference. Room was nice with more amenities than expected. Food was much better than anticipated. Had buffet meals and all were good but dinner was excellent with tender beef, tasty ham, and chicken and fish choices. Appetizers were very good - scallops, meatballs, and cheese plates with veggies. Irish pub had great ala carte food. Probably the nicest Best Western I have ever had the pleasure of staying in.

I stayed here with my husband, two small children, and family dog recently on a vacation to Hershey Park. Hotel is very clean, staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and parking is plentiful. They're located about 15min or so from Hershey Park and we found it to be just the right distance. Indoor pool was a great bonus as well as the game room. Hotel doesn't offer a free breakfast, but attached restaurant does service breakfast buffet style (with discount for hotel guests) and a la carte options.

The room was extremely clean. The food at the restaurant was really good. My son LOVED the pool which was really clean. The bed wasn't bad. Location was close to Hershey Park approximately 15-20 minutes away. Overall Great Stay!

From start to finish the staff was excellent to work with. They could not do enough for you. Picking the venue, making all of the arrangements over a period of months, setting up the room for our affair was all a breeze with the help of the staff. The buffet was delicious and was presented in a very appetizing manner. I would highly recommend Best Western Premier as they certainly live up to their name....Premier.

Our room lil noisy heard traffic . Overall clean, no bugs, rooms nice, comfy beds. Mini fridge TV iron hair dryer. Outlet in table lamp didn't work but plenty other plugs to use. Check on and out was efficient. Lobby was beautiful. My favorite part and cucumber infused water available.... nice touch and tasty

I have never been disappointed with a Best Western and this was no exception. Excellent service and staff. Would definitely stay again. Loved the fact that they accepted pets and also treated them as family

Room has a window to the atrium not a window to outside. Terrible noise don't expect to sleep unless you have earplugs. Rooms that overlook the indoor pool even on the third floor spell like chlorine. If staying here request to have a room with a window to the outside. Terribly laid out hotel

...but people love this hotel. Yes, it's nice. Yes, the staff was great. Yes, the conference space was perfect. Yes, the meals were fine. I would stay again. Overall I have no complaints about this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small but was updated and the shower was really nice. As another reviewer commented there was lots of hot water and the shower head was strong, large with lots of streams, and not one of those weird skinny hard jets. However, I can't quite put my finger on it, but though modern it was old. The nightstands by the bed were old. The ceilings were low, and the window small. But the decor was fresh. The tv was huge! But it seemed, mismatched I guess. Is that enough to make me not like it. No. But enough to not give it the highest rating. I never went to the pool and was happy I had a room overlooking the parking lot so I had natural light. But the traffic on 83 is loud at times, so I wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers. I never heard any of my neighbors, which is great. So I would say, yes, stay here. But I still don't get why everyone loves it. To each his own, I guess.

The hotel was very clean and seemed recently renovated. The staff was very nice and the check in and out was quick. Ample parking and close to local restaurants and shopping. I was pleasantly surprised that the room had a small microwave and nice size refrigerator I was there for beauty pageant my daughter and was very pleased with our experience. I would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I needed a home base for a weekend spent exploring Harrisburg and the surrounding areas. This place definitely met that need. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and it was moderately quiet when it needed to be. They even had a dvd player we could borrow when we came back to the room early to crash one evening. My only complaint is one of personal preference -- we were assigned a room on the 2nd floor that had a window facing the inner atrium and the check-in desks. While the atrium is nice in its own right, I was not comfortable opening our curtains because we had no privacy. Anyone walking in the front door could see right into our room. And I missed being able to get some natural sunshine in the room. So, I have no trouble recommending this hotel, but if you share the same desire for privacy and natural light that I do, you might want to request an out facing room.

By far he best hotel I ever have stayed at. Clean and fully stocked rooms .Staff was attentive and friendly would recommend any one to stay there. Real nice Irish themed bar with excellent food ate there twice. The only problem seemed they were under staffed had to wait to get seated both times and left on the third time after 10 minutes. But to be honest that happens everywhere cant find employees only left caused I was pressed for time.

If you're visiting Hershey Park or any other venues in HARRISBURG, PA...Best place in stay is best Western Priemer the Central hotel & Conference Center. They have great guest rooms, an arcade for kids, swimming pool, a nice restaurant and my favorite the fitness center.. They have a great welcoming staff. I definitely enjoyed my stay.. You will not be disappointed.. And that's a promise!!!
