« It works for one night »

We had to stay here overnight due to a looooong layover. Their shuttle service from the airport took a while to pick us up. The room was average. The offer free hot breakfast in the morning, which is always nice. The check in desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Some problems are that it's not as close to the airport as you'd like. Also, food is scarce (at least good food). There's a McDonald's but when it's late, only the drive-thru is open. Sucks when you don't have a car. Everything was closed after 11 PM. The ORIGINAL Chick Fil-A is there. They're open for in-door dining 24 hours, but it's not close and I can't eat that stuff. So make sure you eat at the airport if you are arriving to the hotel late. They offer a shuttle back to the airport which was on time.

    « So Unhelpful »

We were travelling as a family; two adults and our grown-up children who are 22 and 19. We found this hotel easily and were greeted less than warmly by the receptionist. We gave our name and she looked for our booking and then said ?just one booking?? and we said yes and she didn't say another world until she gave us our key and told us where to go (no mention of breakfast location, facilities etc). When we got to our room we found it had one King bed, not a lot of good for the four of us. Our booking clearly stated quad room,4 adults and they do not allow 4 adults to book in to their King rooms anyway so I presumed it was just a genuine error and I popped down to reception to be moved. What followed was so embarrassing, she insisted that it was a third party booking and it was my fault although I showed her the booking confirmation. She then dragged another colleague out who also simply said ?can't change third party bookings?, no hello, sorry etc. I managed to stay polite and pointed out that twin and king rooms were the same price so I wasn't trying to fleece anyone by pretending about the booking and I had the confirmation anyway. I asked if the hotel was full and she said no, were there any twin room available and she said yes, could we just be moved please, no because it was a third party booking. I have no idea where the problem occurred (probably a computer glitch!) but it wasn't my fault and it wasn't hers either but I felt she could have tried a little harder to help me. At this point I did get stroppy and pointed out that we needed another room or a couple of us would be sleeping in the lobby! In the end she photocopied my booking confirmation and moved me to another room but not with any degree of politeness! The room was pretty noisy but they do supply earplugs and I don't think you can really complain too much about noise at airport hotels. The breakfast was really poor, the worst we had in the 9 hotels on this trip, they didn't have any tea, no fresh fruit and little choice of cereal. The location was convenient for us and there was a Mcdonalds right next door but it isn't somewhere we will ever stay at again due to the way we were treated.

« Quiet One Night Stay »

Nice room, nice hotel. Husband loved that we could see the porsche test driving track from our room and we could watch the airplanes land and take off. Considering we were so close to the airport, our room was really quiet! We had no problem falling asleep, and not only because we had just gotten back from a concert. However, the beds were a tad firm for our liking--but given the long night we had that wasn't really an issue for us. Staff was friendly and helpful.

« Lovely hotel close to airport »

We booked this hotel last minute without checking reviews, because when we arrived at the airport we realised we had left our passports 360miles away in the last hotel. We stayed 6 nights in total while the airline tried to get us back home and the staff where very sympathetic and helpful. Between us we had 9 rooms on 3 levels during our stay and every room was spotless. We've stayed in a lot of hotels on our travels but this was one of the friendliest the staff where so nice and cheerful. It's within walking distance to I hop mc Donald's Wendy's a petrol garage that sells just about everything and a liquor store. I would definitely recommend staying here. Plus it's got a shuttle bus to the airport.

« Saved us after airport mistakes »

This hotel was great for us. After British airways completely messed up our flights home we were forced to stay in Atlanta for an extra six days. The rates were less than $100 per night which was great as we needed three rooms, the rooms were clean and the staff friendly and helpful also you get a free hot breakfast which saved us a substantial amount of money. Adjacent to the hotel is Joffreys bar and grill I don't recommend this the food was disgusting and over priced luckily just yards away is IHOP and McDonald's and next door to them is a petrol garage which sells beer food and snacks and just down the road from the garage is a liquor store. All in all this is my favourite hotel because of the situation we were in and the sheer helpfulness and empathy of the staff at the hotel if I could give it more than five stars I would. I would also say there is a bit of noise from the outside but this is because it is a airport hotel also each room has cable tv free wifi microwave and fridge.

    « Practical and Clean »

Stayed here for one night for my layover flight. It was near the airport but was very quiet. The hotel is beside two restaurants (iHop and McDonalds). The room was clean and tidy. The bed was huge and clean. They even provided earplugs in case you need more "silence". Good amount of supplies for toiletries and the bathroom was very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a lot of options. I can recommend you to stay here for a short time -- but if you are going to explore atlanta, its quite far from the city.

« Best value Plus good breakfast »

We stay for 3 nights for business trip. comfortable bed & warm welcome service. Breakfast is excellent with choices. good size table for work. There are plane noise till 11PM, so it may be a disturb for early sleepers. They do provide ear plugs though. Overall very good value & service.

    4
    « Brief Stay »

I stayed here for less than 36 hours due to a following day flight. I found the staff to be very professional and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. It was also good value for money! The location was near the airport, which didn't have any repercussions on my stay. The only recommendation would be for a more 'personal' breakfast.

« Good Hotel for our Last Night in the USA »

The hotel is well situated for the return of hire cars at the airport. After a long drive from Pensacola we were warmly welcomed by reception. Our room was excellent with all expected facilities and a great walk in shower. Joffreys Bar and restaurant is immediately outside the front door and serves great margaritas. Also in the same building as Joffreys is an IHOP Restaurant. We enjoyed are one night here as the compact site offered everything we needed for our last nigh before our flight home.

    4
« Convenient and good value »

The hotel is a bit outdated but clean. The bed was very, very comfortable. Everyone on staff was always polite and helpful. The airport shuttle runs every thirty minutes during the day, and on demand after 4:30 or so.

    « Good airport hotel »

Useful location but we found it noisier than other airport hotels - maybe because the rooms have tiny balconies and therefore a patio type door that cannot be as soundproof as a well fitting window. The bed was comfortable and the room clean, reasonably spacious and had all the necessities. The breakfast had quite a good choice but more types of jogurt would be nice.

    4
    « Good Nights Stay :) »

My family stayed here for 1 night. We checked in really late. Our room was ready and clean. This was perfect for 1 night stay. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Bacon yummmmy!!!! Only pros was the hotel parking Front desk was very nice and accommodating. Our room was provided with ear plugs, im guessing some rooms can be noisey.

    5
    « Very comfortabel hotel »

Very comfortabel hotel near airport. Fine and big rooms, fine breakfast and good service. Nothing to complain about. Shuttle service is great. Drops at domestic where you can find the Amtrak that connects you for 3 dollars to city center. One single call is sufficiënt for pick up. Also after arrival at the airport.

    5
« close to the airport »

we needed a place close to the airport because our flight left early so I wanted a fast and rush hour free drive to the airport by the way the hotel also offers a shuttle service. We left at 7 am and 10 minutes later we dropped our rental car off at the car center. Of course that close to the airport there is noise but ear plugs are provided in each room so I had no trouble sleeping. Breakfast was good and the hotel is located very close to freeways 75 and 285. I would stay here again.

    3
« Not for light sleepers »

located directly adjacent to ATL airport runways. very noisy. bed was a rock. staff was super nice and professional. breakfast was okay. airport shuttle was nice. blah blah blah blah it wants me to write more words.

    1
    « STAY AWAY »

By far the worst shuttle service I've seen, and I travel for a living. I recently missed a flight because they didn't pick up when promised. Average wait time is 45 minutes, and you usually have to call the hotel three times because they keep forgetting about you. Every other shuttle comes and goes twice while you'll sit and angrily wonder if the driver is asleep somewhere. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Because they are so bad, I am petitioning my company to permanently drop them.

« first time to Atanta »

Nice large room with refrigrator, microwave, coffee maker. Loved the spacious walk-in shower. Was worried that plane noise would be a problem but it wasn't. Hotel does provide earplugs just in case you are a light sleeper. Breakfast selection had all the usual items. Front desk staff very friendly and upbeat.

    5
« excellent for air travel »

Hotel was comfortable, even the bed! Close to airport, easy to return rental car from there. Nearby places to eat (must have car). desk staff helpful with directions. Helped get internet connection for me.

« Not up to usual standard »

Being a Rewards Member, this was not up to the standards I've come to expect from BW. There was a large circle of hair in the shower, the towel rack over the sink was coming out of the wall, the hair dryer would barely stay is it's holder (and fell out on to the counter several times) and the pillows were the hardest I've ever come across. The front desk was polite and stated they would take care of the problem before the next customer, as I did not advise them of the problem until check out. Also, the light control was not good, as there was a white halo around the drapes all night long but this is a problem with most hotels.

    4
    « Large Room! »

The room was large and clean, overall. However there was this blue, sticky gel smeared all over the light switch to the bathroom. In addition, the shower curtain was very short and barely kept the water in the tub. Despite the location near the airport it was relatively quiet.

« Lyndon- the shuttle driver is actually a Concierge »

He was great and had excellent customer service to include helping me plan a day trip around Atlanta. He was very kind and patient! Rooms were updated and clean and shuttle arrives 24 hours a day and is free.

    4
    « Very nice stay »

Had to get up at 3 a.m. Take shuttle at 3:30 a.m. for 6 a.m. flight. Booked hotel because of the shuttle; everyone very nice, alert, and helpful. Room just right. Joffreys Bistro perfect across driveway. Will use again. Even plane noise minimal.

    4
    « Great experience »

The comfort of the room and the beds were excellent; the room was very, very clean. We were able to hear planes taking off and landing at the nearby airport, but this was expected when I booked the hotel; the noise level was not enough to impede our sleep; the hotel did provide ear plugs just in case. I would stay here again.

« Waiting for Airport Pickup »

Called because Hotel was not on airport auto hotel guide. Went to zone 3 after stumbling around and asking where is zone 3 which is not 3. Called and was informed that driver was on the way. Called again after 30 minutes, stated driver was leaving now. After over 1 hour off we went Checked in and the found out that they would transport and pickup at nearby eating place. Good breakfast and the transported to airport. Transport is on a 30 minute.

    5
    « Pleasant »

The hotel has everything necessary to have a pleasant stay. The bedroom has a little microwave and a small fridge. The parking lot is free, but it is almost always full. The hotel is close to the airport. It is beside a McDonald's and the Wendy's is just about 50 steps further. The breakfast is included. The price is good.

« Spacious room with lovey view of the airport »

This hotel has shuttle bus service from Atlanta Domestic Airport, they were very prompt to send the shuttle in after 2pm. From 5am - 2pm, they run on a 30 min interval. I requested for the room with the airport view, could practically see planes taking off right infront of you. The room was super spacious with a king bed and business desk. For some, the airplanes could be quite a bother, but for me, even with a room facing the airport, with the aircon on, I can't hear much sound. There isn't much near the airport, just McDonalds, Wendy's, a gas station mart nearby and an iHop right infront of the hotel. I stayed for a night to catch a flight out, which is really very convenient. Breakfast was interesting, I get to make my own pancakes!!

    « Just a weekend to breathe! »

My husband and I came from Birmingham just to get away for a few days on a budget! The room was nice and spacious, conveniently located to downtown. Everyone was really nice and the cookies in the evening were great! The IHOP was perfect and quick however the McDonald's were horrible! I can't wait to return to stay at this hotel again! I also enjoyed watching the cars at Porsche place and also watching all the planes land and take off! I would definitely recommend this hotel it was perfect!

« JUST RIGHT FOR US »

After a long tiring flight, we appreciated very much having only a very short wait before being whisked off to the hotel in the shuttle bus. Our room was comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious. Reception staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. We had a long layover but were able to make good use of the time courtesy of the complimentary shuttle to the airport station. This enabled us to get to downtown Atlanta easily and visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens. We are planning to return to this hotel on our way home..

    5
    « Great value! »

Great place to sleep and close to airport with a reliable shuttle service. Don't expect the immediate surrounding neighborhood to be visually appealing, because it's not. Joffreys restaurant next door is exceptional. The IHop next door is adequate. All staff I encountered were exceptionally hospitable.

    « Sales Meeting - Great Stay »

In a major bind when our business meeting and 15 rooms were bumped because Microsoft and Beyonce were in town, the Best Western Plus Airport-East stepped in an saved the day. The location was convenient to sales people traveling from all over the Southeast and the provided shuttle was a bonus. Sales Manager, Angela Simeon went above and beyond to make it work for our group. The conference room was well appointed and staff worked hard to provide us with AV and power for our needs. The assorted candy was a big hit and we had plenty of room to spread out 24 people for all of our activities. Angela checked on us regularly and it gave me a lot of peace of mind. Check in went very smoothly and our guests were very happy with their rooms. There were even ear plugs provided which were meant for our proximity to the airport, but I didn't hear that anyone used them as the rooms were quite comfortable. Located conveniently by the interstate, travel to Buckhead was about 35-40 minutes at 5:30 PM which is much quicker than we expected. For a quick bite, don't miss out on the Original Chicfila located a very short drive away. We were also very pleased with the cafe & lounge located on site. After meetings all day it was a comfortable, friendly place to unwind and everyone was very accommodating. I will also compliment Chantay and Anita. Chantay handled most of our check ins and was friendly and quick. Anita was very helpful when we realized someone had left a credit card at the lounge. She not only went above and beyond to locate it, she called me followed up to make sure we could make arrangements.

« Clean, comfortable and close to airport »

Room was very roomy -- the shower was extra large with no bath tub to step into. Everything was very clean - room nicely furnished. Breakfast was OK -- typical hotel breakfast... nothing special. Very convenient to airport. Some noise from road and runways but not enough to interrupt sleep.

    4
« Perfect location near Atlanta airport »

Chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson airport. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. I even got three complimentary bottles of water when I just asked where I could purchase them. So top service! Did not have any problems with the sound of the planes.

    4
« Close Proximy To Airport Runway »

Although this hotel is nice, it is too noisy due to its close proximity to one of the airport runways. This is the biggest disadvantage, in my opinion. To alleviate this problem, the hotel provides ear plugs, which helped a lot. The gym in the hotel has very modern equipment, and the swimming pool is quite relaxing, shaded by a tree line bordering the next property. This hotel seems to be an older building, but the rooms are very large, clean, and nicely decorated. The staff are very courteous and hospitable, always looking for an opportunity to make your stay comfortable, and airport shuttle is available at regular intervals. The location of this hotel is very good, especially if you desire to stay close to the airport, which is only about 12 minutes away. It is also very close to the freeway off-ramp, making it easy to get to different parts of the city and beyond. There is an IHOP restaurant within the premises of the hotel, in addition to another restaurant/café and a bar. There are also numerous standard and fast food restaurants in the area, including a McDonald's next door. There are a few shopping malls in the area, including the Southlake mall, which is only 12 minutes from the hotel. Overall, I had a very good experience.

    « would book again »

Noticed the high marks in reviews and decided to try it out. Easy to book and find, staff on the ball, quick checkin and out, expected food services, great restaurants conveniently around with good food choices, clean! A breeze of a stay, no complaints. Will book again.

    4
« Right off the highway, IHOP in parking lot! »

Staff was excellent! With the air conditioning on I never heard a plane go by. Comfortable beds. Great place to stop on I-75 heading toward Florida. On the south side of Atlanta so your past the traffic heading south.

    5
« Nice stay and view »

We stayed for two nights. The room was large and had a tiled big shower. There is a mini fridge and microwave, coffee maker, iron and board, desk and small balcony you can walk out on. I got a 9th floor room facing the airport and it was fun watching the planes take off and land. They provide you with foam ear plugs but if you get a high floor, the noise is minimal. More noise comes from the busy street and the train tracks across the street. The breakfast includes eggs and meat as well as waffles, bagels, muffins cereal yogurt Etc.. I would stay there again.

    4
    « Love This Place »

This is my favorite place to stay when I am in Atlanta. Friendly & Helpful Staff. Convenient location. Awesome views. Great value for the money. What more could you want!!! Would recommend that you give this place a try.

« This hotel seems to be confused »

We were visiting the new Porsche Headquarters and this hotel is extremely close so we went out of our usual hotel comfort zone and booked it. We were kind of taken aback to see security guards in the parking lot...hence a iffy area? It was a holiday so everything was closed and we never did get to see what was around. I say the hotel is confused because parts are terrific and parts need attention. It doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. If everything was kept up like the lobby restrooms and cafe it would be great. Unfortunately tiles are loose and/or missing from around the elevator and there are dozens of areas that need paint touch ups. And, wouldn't it be nice if the cleaning crew didn't splash dirty floor water on the bathroom door bottoms? The room was a good size & had a refrigerator, microwave (nice touch) and coffee maker. The walk in shower was a nice surprise and the bedding was fine. They give you ear-plugs since you are right next to some of Hartsfield's landing strips. We did ask for a room overlooking the Porsche practice track but didn't end up with one. The staff was pleasant and helpful and they call you after you get settled in your room to check if there are problems. Our a/c wasn't working but someone came right up and corrected the problem. They offer free breakfast but it's always the same old, same old except here the biscuits were so hard you couldn't bite into the bottom. There is an i Hop right outside of the hotel door as is a (what looked like) nice little place for lunch & dinner. I can't say this was a bad hotel but I can't say it was great either. Maybe it's all of the dark carpeting and furnishings but it just didn't scream clean & bright. We checked out after the first night and went to one of our go-to hotels but if you are there for business and only there for sleeping it's an ok choice. All of the other hotel chains are on the other side of the airport.

    4
    « One night stay »

Not a bad place to stay. Rooms are cozy. They have balconies overlooking the airport. Prices are fair. Would stop and stay again. Free complementary breakfast. You get to see the jets take off from the airport.

  • 4
    « Nice place »

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Looks like new carpet in the corridors. Breakfast was good. The rooms could use some updating. But all in all descent. Nice there was security in the parking lot when we arrived, although there are many signs that say they are not responsible for the parking lot.

    5
« A Very Pleasant Place To Stay »

upon my late arrival to this facility I was greeted by warm and friendly personnel. They were smiling and engaging, which made my trip more pleasurable. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bed just awesome for resting. The halls were wonderfully spotless and adorned with good taste. I will certainly be a regular when I am in this part of the south again.

    5
« Home away from home »

A place were you receive the worth of your money starting from the Driver that picks you up from the Airport to the receptionist and house cleaning staff. Conducive environment with discount from neighboring restaurant when you identify yourself as a guest from the Hotel.

    4
    « A good deal in Atlanta »

Had the same good experiences as Justsaygo13 (even stayed on the 10th floor and watched the planes coming in)! I did try the restaurant right across from the hotel and it was good too.Really loved the fact that I could take the shuttle to the airport, then catch the Marta (light rail transit) downtown instead of driving there.

    3
« Hotel close to airport »

Easy to find, located in convenient location for travelers by air. Shuttle bus service. Clean, large rooms. Convenient bed. Professional staff. Reasonable breakfast. Working hours of swimming pool makes it unusable.

    4
    « great stay »

very satisfied with my stay and hopefully will stay at this location again. great view of airport and location and ease to access highway systems. Bar and grill next door helps and IHOP is just across the parking lot. Parking is very good and so is the security. Nice pool and poolside.

« Great place to stay - very good value! »

The hotel is located right across the road from the new Porsche Facility. I have stayed here many times over the past 18 years. It is much nicer and modern now. The rooms are a good size with very good work area's. The balcony is small but no reason to go out there. Beds are very comfortable. Overall the rooms are inviting. WiFi works very, very well - you need to get the password at check in. Bathroom is very nice with a hot, powerful and spacious shower. Even with planes landing / taking off very close and the interstate right there the rooms are quiet. Breakfast is buffet with many, many choices - hot and cold. The coffee is pretty so la la but it is available 24/7. The hotel has 2 elevators, lots of parking and a very friendly and helpful staff. There are eating options with in walking distance. The hotel has a shuttle bus to and from the ATL airport running each 1/2 hour. For sure I will continue to stay at this hotel!

    4
    « Nice hi-rise near the airport »

Stayed two nights at this hotel. It was the end of a road trip for us, but we did turn in our rental car early and use the shuttle to the airport for convenience. We were on the 10th floor and it was actually enjoyable watching the airplanes come in so close! The noise was not a factor (we were facing the interstate). The king bed was very comfortable, and the room has a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Breakfast was okay, just the usual but the breakfast area is very large and updated. Didn't use the pool, but it looked very nice. If you don't have a car, there is an IHOP right there within a few steps and another cafe that looked good (menu in the elevator) and McDonald's next door. Down the road there are more restaurants, and fast food, but you would have to have a car. Wendy's, and a Chick Fil A (historic one I think) are there, plus some others. The area looks like it has hopes of being better, but I've always known the airport area is not the best area to stay in Atlanta. The hotel has security outside at night for parking which is good, and across the street is a beautiful Porsche driving experience facility. To sum it up: Nice place to stay, hotel has been renovated and the rooms are really nice; I even liked the shower with no curtain. There are a few details that could use attention, but Atlanta hotels are expensive and this one has value. I would stay here again.

    3
« Still resisting to renovation.... »

Pls. renovate your old hotels... Pay attention to cleaning. You've the best wifi service in your every hotel. Pls. add different kind cheeses to your breakfast service. The density of coffee is pour. You can not taste coffee. It is like hot water.

    « Good 1 night stay »

We choose this place as it was close to the airport and offered 24/7 shuttle service. The check in was a good and easy experience, we were a group of 6 rooms so this was a pleasant surprise. They offer complimentary BF however we did not get to enjoy this as we left for the airport at 3:30 AM. Shuttle service is great, we coordinated with the driver the night before so he was ready and waiting for us (15 people). If we ever fly thru Atlanta again we would definitely stay here again. The rooms are okay size but the beds are really comfortable. The hallways and the elevators could use a renovation but are not horrible to look at.

« Not a bad place to get stuck »

I got a voucher to stay here during the Delta airlines outage. Stranded passengers swarmed the hotel, but the front desk staff remained calm and courteous. I had to wait a bit, but once it was my turn the check in process only took a minute or two. They had set some free toiletries out on the front desk for anyone who needed. My room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. The room I was given came equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. I only used the coffee maker, which worked fine. The coffee kit included 2 powdered non dairy creamers, 2 sugars and 2 sweet and lows. There is also a good sized tv with cable and HBO. The bedside lamps each had two outlets good for charging. The bathroom was also sizeable. there was Pantene shampoo and conditioner as well as a bar of soap in the shower and on the sink. I think there may also have been a shower cap. There was only 1 wash cloth, 1 face towel and 2 bath towels. The major drawbacks were the AC and the noise. the AC was a wall unit - it was hard to maintain a comfortable temperature (change it a degree or too and it was too hot or too cold after awhile). As far as the noise, the hotel is close to the airport so you can hear flights taking off and landing, and also has thin walls so you could hear some noise from the next room. They actually have complimentary ear plugs placed on the nightstand for light sleepers. I was ok with the noise, but I can see it being a drawback. I took the free airport shuttle at 5:30am. The shuttle runs 24/7 every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour. It was crowded largely due to the Delta problems but the driver was prompt and courteous. While I was waiting I enjoyed an ok complimentary coffee and glass of ice water available in the lobby. Breakfast is free but was not yet being served (I believe it opens at 6). There is an IHOP just across the parking lot. There is also a place called Jeoffreys Cafe that has a bar and food available for dine in or take out, but when I called to order take out they were so busy they left me on hold for 3 minutes by just putting the phone down on the bar. I then tried to order online and no one acknowledged the order so I canceled it. Again, I believe this was due to the larger than average crowds because of the Delta issues but I would not rely on Jeoffreys for take out if you are staying at this hotel. All in all this is not a bad place to stay if you need clean, efficient accommodations near the airport. I would stay here again.

    « Alright trip. »

One of the guest service staff members often seemed to be pre-occupied. Also, the coffee machine had in my room did not work and I had to have it changed four times before a working machine was delivered the next day by housekeeping.

    « Beware »

I often stay at BW and have never had issues until this stay. Our iphone 6 was stolen from the breakfast room, and there was police action outside the room in the night. Be aware of this if you book. I wish I had known. Otherwise the hotel was fine.

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and very courteous. The room was big and clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good but wish there was more fruit available. I would stay here again when visiting Atlanta again.

« Not my favorite place »

This is an old building with that old building smell, needs some updating. It was an easy on and off of the highway, staff was friendly. There was no trash can in the bath room and no biscuits for the sausage gravy.

    « Good Hotel »

Good, convenient and across from the Airport. Clean hotel and courteous staff, nice workout room, pool, secured parking, and good value for the money, with many restaurants and cafes around. Not to mention, a hearty breakfast every morning.

« Simple, affordable, overall nice! »

Stopped here for a halfway point on our trip to Florida, $120 a night made things a great easy price for Atlanta, airport is VERY close so nights may get loud, they do provide you with ear plugs though. Porsche test track right across the road is so cool to see, watched for the first hour non stop as cars flew by on the track. Coming back on the way home. Clean room Nice bed Not the best view but it's something... Nice staff Affordable Nice hotel overall! (Decent pool!)

    « Well rested »

Had a great stay at this hotel. The room was quiet with very comfortable beds. Upon rising was able to get a little cardio in at the gym before a nice hot breakfast... thanks to the staff at BW for a night well rested.

    « Don't Believe Them! »

Booked the room to specifically drive up from South Georgia for a fight to Ireland. Was told that they had shuttle services to the airport in Atlanta and we could leave out vehicle parked at the hotel during our trip. Upon Check-In I was told this was not true and the park and fly program has been suspended for a year. Well...not according to their advertisement on the internet through various booking agencies, Google, and their own in-house free WiFi...see the picture! Will not stay at this hotel again. Poor communication cost me a nights stay and now I have to go and secure parking elsewhere...thanks Best Western.

    « 3 day Atlanta family Reunion »

July 2016 my second visit to this hotel, this time around I was disappointed!!!!!!!! The Front desk people are so impersonal, almost as if you are bothering them to do there job. When I stayed at this hotel before they were so friendly, Guess they no longer work there wouldn't fit the mood of the other staff. We were lucky if our cleaning lady even came in to clean our room and pick up the towel off the floor. The breakfast at the hotel is ok you might be better off walking across to the dennys next door. The only enjoyment I got was from their gift shop the people who run that place are very friendly and helpful with a wonderful personality. oh the security guard in the car makes you feel more creeped out than not having one at all. Don't think I will be back. Sorry Best Western

    « Very comfortable »

I was put into this Hotel by Delta Airlines after I missed my connecting flight. It was very comfortable. I enjoyed a good nights sleep. As for breakfast they need help. Paper plates, plastic cups and cutlery. I did enjoy my waffles (made by me). No bottled water supplied in the rooms. I would stay here again as an over night stay but couldn't see me staying any longer.

    « 3 day weekend trip »

Overall, the hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and up to par. The receptionists during the afternoon/evening shift were very friendly and accommodating. The man even offered us water bottles when we were searching for a water fountain. I will say, while everything was great in the hotel, there was one problem with a person working night shift. When my sister and I went downstairs to ask for some towels, shampoo and a razor, we were treated in a very rude manner. Our room was not serviced that morning, even though we asked for it to be, so we simply wanted some towels since we had not received any. Donna, the woman working the desk, gave us a lot of attitude. She told us security would bring us the towels, and we just happened to see the security woman at that moment so we decided to wait for a minute. The security woman was very nice and we were having a conversation when Donna got an attitude with her as well and basically stormed out to get her towels to bring up to our room. We felt very disrespected and awkward in this situation. Other than this, the hotel was great, but Donna put a sour taste in our mouth for the rest of our stay.

    « Typical, basic room »

Stayed one night as a layover from a delayed flight. Basic room, small bath with shower only and one sink. Hard bed, four small square pillows. Clean, basic room....nothing special. They did have free WIFI and morning breakfast. Breakfast consisted of: scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, make it yourself waffles, yogurt, cereals and assorted pastries, coffee, tea and juices.

    « Nice »

I have nothing bad to say. The rooms were spacious, although it was a bit odd that there was no shower curtain in the bathroom. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was adequate and for those who complain about it, well....it's a free breakfast! If you want something more, there's an IHOP and McDonald's right in the parking lot! Other than that, the hotel is clean, convenient and right for the price!

    « Grandson's birthday »

My wife and I stayed two nights. We were in town to celebrate our grandson's 10th birthday at Six Flags. The hotel was clean and quiet, and very comfortable. One side of the hotel faces the airport runways, but despite the constant air traffic, we were able to sleep comfortably. I would ask for a room on the other side if we were staying here again. Very nice hotel.

« GREAT HOTEL, RATES, NOT SO GREAT BREAKFAST :( »

I love Best Westerns because of their rates and the points earned towards a free stay; however, the breakfast was not the best. The bar had the usual items - cereal, waffles, muffins, juice, coffee... but, the eggs and sausage were not good at all. I suggested in my review to them to use a different breakfast item carrier.

« Close, clean and convenient! »

Great value, clean, and overall exceeded our expectations. Every one of the staff we encountered had a smile on their face! Front desk manager Delores was a treat; immediately gave our anxious teenage son the wifi password without asking! Room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was great! Lots of choices! Only complaint: we missed out on the cookies in the afternoon! :(

« not a good place for families, but fine for business traveler »

the hotel delivered what it promised with free airport shuttle, free b-fast and good check out service, but the details that we needed were lacking. No coins available for laundry in the guest area or at the front desk. Pool closes at 9pm which too early for traveling families that arrive in the evening.

    « Exceptional »

Everything about this hotel was exceptional the décor, the staff, the room, the location, the view, and the location. The entire experience was unbelievable we checked in around 2:30am the staff was very pleasant, alert, and funny. I was surprise to see the manager being hands on during the check-in process. When we went to check out the front desk personnel stated that the only thing that we had to say was good-bye and I thought that puts a new meaning to express check-out.

    2
    « Not so good. »

Everything was OK until time for bed. After traveling all day arriving late and looking forward to a good nights sleep we rolled back the blankets and were shocked, the sheets were filthy and there was dirt on the sheets a double whammy. Called front desk told them of the disgusting sheets, they offered another room but I had to go down to the desk to make the change ( already in my bed clothes ). Had to pack everything up and tote it to a new room. I wonder if the sheets were never changed from a previous guest?

« Good location and price »

We came to Atlanta to catch a game and hit some sights. We drove but the airport is right around the corner. Th service and staff were fantastic. Everyone was polite and friendly. The breakfast was just eh. They had make your own waffles and they were ok. Juice milk coffee instant grits and oatmeal. There was sausage patties faux eggs and gravy. None were appealing at all. The room- beds were comfy. Plenty of towels. The shower was ok. It didn't feel super clean. There were some marks on the wall and there are no balcony access on the 7th floor (which is fine with me). Small fridge and microwave included. The tvs are not of great quality. There is a ihop in the parking lot and McDonald's also. I felt safe staying here. I would stay again due to the close proximity to downtown and other places. All about 10 miles away.

« Great family fun and memories! Planes, trains, and Porsches. »

We stayed here with our grandmother to make it easier for her to make an early morning flight. I chose the hotel because I saw it was near the airport and we have had great experiences at every other Best Western Plus we have stayed at over the past couple of years. Little did I know I was checking something off our family bucket list! - staying in a hotel with view of the runway and not only window views, but balcony views! We stayed up late enjoying watching and listening to the planes come into Hartsfield. The hotel also sits across from the Porsche Experience Center and we could see drivers race around the track from our balcony. Wanted to visit the museum they have there, but you have to call ahead to make an appointment. Bring binoculars for better/more fun views if you have kids. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and the rooms more spacious and better-appointed than we expected. The breakfast was great, and the airport shuttle was exactly what our grandmother needed - she preferred to use that service rather than have us drive her and park, walk, etc. We enjoyed the pool and loved our first Dwarf House restaurant experience just a few blocks away. Every staff member we interacted with was cheerful and helpful. Beds were comfortable the way we like them. Great A.C. in the room too. The only thing that could be a down-side for some is the noise of the airplanes and the passing trains. We love that stuff though, and consider it a plus.

    4
« Best value in comparison »

Hotel is located away from most restaurants, but close to the highways and airport. The rooms are standard with the usual amenities. Pricing is best for average families and guest profile is representative of it. There is reasonable security and expect limited parking on weekends with the IHOP customers adjacent to the hotel. Two fast food restaurant is within walking distance, McDonalds and Chick Fil A. There is also a Laundry Mat and Food store/ convenient store near by. If you are on a budget and expect some comfort for your family then try the BEST WESTERN. 301 Central Ave, ATL GA.

« Nice stay close to Lakewood »

This location is convenient to downtown Atlanta, the airport and Lakewood Ampitheater. The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was a little slow but it was a very busy night. We were in town for a concert and this hotel was very close to the venue. The only issue was someone pul some one set of the fire alarm at 5 a.m. (Not the hotel's fault) But, there was no alrm in the room it'sself, just in the hall ways and it was not very loud. Could be an issue if there was an actual fire. Overall a very good stay. i did not get up in time to try there breakfast, maybe next time.

This location is a five star in my book. The staff were so pleasant and helpful, the rooms were so comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh and hot. I have never traveled in Atlanta before, but knew any Best Western is a sure bet for excellence in comfort and value.

    « Excellent »

We have stayed at Best Westerns across the US and this one is definitely among the top. Very nice rooms and the customer service was the icing on the cake! Excellent care in check in and out. Wifi is fast! Great quality breakfast and everything very clean. Gift shop on site too!!!!

« Nice place to stay »

It was clean and the staff was very professional. The staff offered a king sized bed and a room on the 5th floor because they took into consideration that we were traveling with an infant. That was very nice of them. The breakfast was nice. There was other venues in the area as well. The hotel is located not too far from the airport and not to far from the down town area. Over all we had a wonderful stay at this hotel.

    3
« Not one of the best Best Westerns »

Chose this for an overnight stop in Atlanta. The room was large and comfortable and the the shower and towels very good. The room was a bit noisy - I was woken up a couple of times by the train whistles. However we did find the breakfast almost inedible. The shuttle service was tricky. I emailed the hotel to say I was arriving from Heathrow, London, and their instructions were to go to zone 2, but omitted to say this was at the domestic terminal and you need a free shuttle to get you there. This takes about 15 minutes, and then there was a 20 minute wait for the BW shuttle, which then drives pretty much back the way we had come for another 15 minute. So the whole operation took the best part of an hour. They did take us straight to the international departures the next morning, which did take less than five minutes.

    « Best Western Plus-Atlanta »

Stayed here overnight, our fligjt got in too late to drive off. Great hotel lovely lady at reception, reasonable rates and a handy bar over the road. Breakfast included, filling but not gourmet If you arrive at ATL international, get the free shuttle to the domestic terminal from Stop #3 and use the courtesy phone, they're there in fifteen minutes. Conversely the free shuttle back to the airport leaves rhe hotel every thirty minutes and will drop you off at the car hire central (Avis is on the third floor) Very good

    « Georgia Florida Vacation »

We came from Alaska and were amazed at the value and customer service we received at this hotel. Best Western Plus is a great place to stay and had many fast food restaurants close by. It's not too far from some trendy restaurants and had a great bar/restaurant on the property that served very good food. I highly recommend this hotel.

    4
    « Bring earplugs »

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport. That is a plus, but it is also very close to the interstate and an exit, a railroad track, and the runways. I was only there 2 nights, so it wasn't a huge deal, but it was noisy. There isn't much around the hotel either, so plan to drive to meals (McDonald's and IHop in walking distance).

    4
« Quick and clean overnight stay »

The only reason I took a star away would be because of the location. We arrived at midnight and could not see any of our surroundings. There was parking lot construction going on making it difficult to manuever at night. Since we couldn't see our surroundings, we could not tell how safe it seemed but there was a security guard. Hotel is right off interstate ramp and by airport so you can hear noise at night. But the breakfast had a great variety and the bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean. A mini fridge is always a nice extra too which they had. Lobby and rooms were modern and updated. So overall a solid 4 stars especially for a quick one night stay outside of Atlanta.

    5
« Staff makes this worth it! »

The staff at this location were so professional, extremely friendly and helpful. The free continental breakfast had a spacious dining room and well laid out arrangement. Shuttle staff was also very friendly. Having an IHOP right next door was nice after a long flight!

  • 4
« Good size room, great location, friendly staff »

A short shuttle ride from the airport. The hotel has large rooms an included breakfast and the staff was very helpful. If you are planning on visiting the sites in downtown Atlanta, I would recommend you leave the car at the hotel. Take the shuttle back to the airport and board the MARTA train to downtown. Avoid the traffic and paying for parking. MARTA is $2.50 each way and worth it. We got off at the Peach tree stop and walked to Centennial Park, Coca Cola, Aquarium, CNN, Football Hall of Fame. We returned the same way or there is a station near CNN to transfer. You can also disembark at this station and catch the street car ($1.00 each way) that will take you to the Martin Luther King Center. Great way to get around the city. I would even recommend flying into Atlanta, take the shuttle to the hotel for the night and then return to the airport and rent your car the next day if you are leaving town. Saves 1 day rental fee and do the same at the end of the trip if returning to Atlanta. There is an IHOP restaurant on the property, a McDonald,s a few feet away and a restaurant named Joffrey's which serves good food. A convenience store is a hundred yards down the road. All in all a great location to stay if you are visiting Atlanta. I would ask for a room not facing the airport runways. It was very noisy even with the door closed. On our return trip I asked for a room facing the pool on the back side of the building and I didn't hear the airplanes all night long.

    3
« Ok for overnight stay »

Used this hotel as near to I20 and arrived into Atlanta late in the evening. Staff were pleasant and lobby was modern and clean. Bedroom was a decent size, with comfy beds however the room was tired and needed some tlc! Was advised by airport staff not to venture out as locality was not good. Breakfast was good. Overall it was ok but I would not use again as over priced for what you got

    4
« Close to airport. Very nice staff »

Really close to the airport and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast is simple. Lots of bacon and eggs. I stayed here arriving late in the evening just to get some rest before I flew out. Everything was great. I could hear plains and highway traffic/amublances in the evening, but other than that it was a great stay. Good value.

    5
    « Close to airport »

We chose this hotel as starting point for our vacation. The rooms were spacious with a small balcony and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was as usual in the US for this kind of hotels. Our room was located with view to runways and the highway/interstate, therefore very loud due to heavy traffic. However this was known to us. I'm a planespotter and therefore I had explicitly asked for such room. Due to the fact that we rented a Ford Mustang for our 3 weeks trip with limited space in the trunk we put all our belongings from 2 big suitcase into smaller sport bags which are easier to stow and could leave the suitcases for 3 weeks at the reception. Very nice receptionists :-) So we will be back in a couple of days however asking for a more quiet room.

    4
« Best value for what you get! »

For the price range this hotel is definitely the best choice, it is clean and refurbished. The only complaint I had was the bed at least in my room was hard and should have been updated as well as the hotel was but other than that it is the best stay for the money hands down. Great staff!!

    5
« Great Place to rest and get to your flight early »

The usual great Best Western experience. Clean, comfortable, friendly. The decor at this particular Best Western was, for my taste, a little strange until I got to my room. But, hey, who cares when all you need is a good night's sleep and an airport shuttle?

    3
« Planes, Trains and Automobiles »

This title fits perfectly because that's all you hear until you finally get to fall asleep. Lot of noise. The rooms are ver nice and spacious bathrooms. Didn't like the towels because they left white fuzzies or lint all over you. Little shady of an area too. Staff was great.

    4
« So Far, So Good »

The Property gets a 4 but the service provided by Angela McDowell most definitely gets a 5! She easily resolved a meeting room issue & provided perfect information when I needed a high quality reprographics job completed. With her support I know my meeting logistics are in good hands. That feels good.

    4
    « Staff nice »

I was a little frightened when I got there. Things didn't appear to be the best neighborhood. I asked for someplace safe for me to eat and was directed to the bar right outside. Not sure if this was the only safe place or if it was owned by family. It was decent food though. The staff at the hotel was accommodating and I was very pleased with my room and the cleanliness of the inside of the hotel. Not much curb appeal. Breakfast was adequate but nothing super.

    4
    « Great Stay »

Had a great stay overall. Quiet rooms. Clean look overall. Near Ihop & McDonalds, there's also a cozy bar a few steps away. The rooms were larger than expected, besides the basic breakfast options, I'd stay there again.

« Some good, some disappointment...hoping hotel improves. »

This hotel is a bit of a mixed bag. I notice that the reviews seem to be slightly inflated?in other words, it's not 4-star worthy, but it's not bad, either. However, if I could add half a star to my rating, I would. I booked two nights (2 different stays, so 2 different rooms) recently. Pros ? it's clean and fairly recently renovated ? a very big plus. It's convenient to budget eateries (literally across the parking lot from IHOP and McDonalds, and a couple of blocks from a decent family-run Mexican restaurant). It has a limited free hot breakfast (served on paper plates with plastic cutlery, but better than nothing and actually not bad tasting!). The rooms are large, typical of a hotel that has some age to it, and the staff seems very nice and quite accommodating. The beds are very comfortable (one of the best things about the hotel), the bedding is nice, and there are amenities in the room that I really like, like lots of plugs for PED's, a mini-fridge and tiny microwave oven. For those reasons alone, I will keep this hotel as an option when positioning myself for an early flight out of Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. As for the cons, the location is not convenient to the Domestic side of the airport (although VERY convenient to the International terminal IF you have a car). Despite this closeness to the international terminal, the hotel does not offer shuttle service to the international side, as the demand is higher for domestic flights. So the transfer to the airport can take 10-15 minutes versus about 5 minutes from hotels closer to the domestic side (like those clustered around Virginia Avenue, on the north side of the airport). The neighborhood is not a good place to walk, especially at night, but then again, there are not many neighborhoods on the airport perimeter anywhere that I feel comfortable walking alone at night. On the plus side, there's a security guard roaming the parking area?I like that it is an obvious deterrent to crime, and I felt safer because of it. Ok, then there's the airport noise. Yes, those rooms pointing away from the airport are better and quieter, despite the freeway on the other side, but the sliding glass doors don't block all the noise wherever you are facing. I do like that you can open them for fresh air if you prefer that to A/C, but wish the resultant noise weren't as bad. Oddly enough, the worst of the noise for me was not the planes, which I am accustomed to, but the construction vehicles that are present on an adjacent lot and fired themselves up at 7am?they beep loudly every time they back up. Also, for people like me that live half their lives in hotels, the feel of the hotel is important, and the feel of this hotel is a little weird. It feels cold and sterile, especially the public spaces, since whoever decorated it decided it should look like the inside of a shower?all hard, shiny surfaces with little welcoming features. Add to that the horrendous and ubiquitous CFL lightbulbs everywhere that cast an awful blaring blue tinge on everything?like the inside of a factory at night. I really HATE that! Luckily in the rooms, the desk lamps have fabric shades that help diffuse and recolor the light a bit?not ideal but better. Also, although the showers are huge, they feel like the inside of a cold, dark cave (chocolate brown tile everywhere). No shower curtain, so cold air circulates in the shower even with the bathroom door closed. Although I was cold in the shower, I was warmish while sleeping since the thermostat would not accept a temperature below 70 (and the rooms stayed above 70 with the door closed), and even with the A/C on and door closed it was not cool enough, so I was forced to open the door a little to be able to sleep comfortably. I think one of the room's thermostats also had a motion sensor (odd that there were different thermostats in each of the rooms I had). I really dislike A/C limiters of any kind; I'm quite certain the corporate bean-counter that decided to restrict air conditioning for the guests has no such device in his/her home. This is one of the main reasons I probably will not stay in the hotel during the warmer months when opening the door would not keep the room cool. My first room had some issues ? the remote didn't work (probably a run-down battery), and the coffee maker didn't work. However, the second room was fine in that regard. The last con is that there are only 2 elevators, and they can be very busy during peak hours. Families with kids should know that there are no bathtubs, and also that there is access to the balconies through glass doors, although the doors in the rooms I had were fully lockable. Just something for parents to think about. In summary, it's not my favorite ATL airport hotel, but it's good enough that I will return and hope the management reads this review and improves the lighting and air conditioning.

    « Very Nice Hotel »

I enjoyed this hotel. The staff was friendly and breakfast was great! Also, for a side eat, IHOP is just right out the front...about a 70 foot walk! It would be a great hotel if one was flying into Atlanta, being it's so close to the airport. For how many planes that were around, I could very rarely hear them inside the room. This hotel was wonderful. I would stay there any time and recommend it to anyone.

« Near Hartsfield Airport Atlanta but not worth it »

The employees are great, the shuttle will pick you up and drop you off at the airport, but the hotel neighborhood, the condition of the interior and the options for food and beverages would keep me from booking here again.

    « Very nice accomodations. »

I visited Atlanta for a wedding. The shuttle to the airport and connections to Marta were very handy. I did not need to rent a car. The Marta took longer, but I was on vacation. There was no need to be in a hurry to get to attractions.

    « Efficient Airport Hotel »

Hotel was well maintained and reasonably clean. Rooms adequate. Breakfast is "full fare" but all items, from the baked goods to the eggs to the coffee, are of the lowest possible quality. Shuttle to and from the airport is punctual and reception desk staff helpful and friendly. One should not expect a quiet rest; nothing can shield the premises from the din of the airport.

Great location at a great price folks working there were very nice fast check in and out 24hr shuttle to the airport. Room was or looked newly remodeled the shower was large and new tile room over all very clean bed a bit hard for me but thats just me. The hotel was ok, but after looking around i found others in the area more reasonably priced, for the star quality.I would consider staying there again , because the shuttle srevice, and drivers made it worth while.

« on our way back from the "masters" »

Didn't get in till late, long drive in from a long day of walking. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was what we needed, a shower and a clean bed. We just wanted to be close to the airport for an early departure in the morning. The breakfast was not that appealing but then again a cup of coffee and we were on our way.

Decent price hotel in a convenient location. Friendly staff. Clean room with desk to use my computer at. AWESOME shower :) I like that i had a balcony and could smoke there since it was a non smoking room.

    « Awesome 3 Night Stay »

I really enjoyed myself. I am big on reading customer reviews and alot of people stated they did not like this hotel because of where it was located and the cleanliness. I really enjoyed my stay. My room was always clean, and turned down by housekeeping.

« Ok for an overnight stop »

We used this hotel for an overnight stop after flying in from the UK. The hotel has a shuttle bus, but if you're arriving at the International terminal, you first have to take a shuttle or monorail to the domestic terminal, where you pick up the hotel shuttle. All a bit confusing when you arrive tired! The hotel was clean, the room spacious and the breakfast adequate - not great. Very noisy from the planes, but it's at the airport, so you have to expect that. The shuttle bus driver did us a favour and drove us straight to the car hire terminal, which was great.

This hotel was better than I had expected with an airport across the street. It was easy access from the interstate. Plenty of restaurants available. Hotel help make my trip to Atlanta an easy one. Would stay here again!!

« Far from Hell in the A.T.L. »

I took a group of students to the Atl Airport Best Western in Mar of 2016. The property was well maintained and an excellent bargain for the price. Angela McDowell was superb as a representative of the brand. We found her welcoming and responsive to our needs. This property is convenient to the Airport and quietly surrounded. The hotel includes a full breakfast and offers a pool and weight room.

    « Superb »

The hotel is located 10 minutes drive from the airport and offers free shuttle from/to it. It is possible to go to downtown of Atlanta from the airport by MARTA train (about 20 -25 minutes). Rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. Free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is reach enough and included in the room rate. The hotel has a small, but nice gym, as well as swimming pool (unfortunately only outdoor). Also they offer a lot of small, but nice and free services such as 24 houres coffee and tea, fruited drinking water, fruits and pastries. The staff is very friendly and flexible. Excellent for a connection stay or a short stay in Atlanta.

« Average hotel, but very noisy »

The hotel is average at best. The staff were friendly but the room doors allowed all the noise from the hall in so when loud travelers got up at 5am to make their flights we were awoken as well. The heating and cooling was also a little all or nothing. The breakfast was average, with decent selection but held in a crowded room. It is close to the airport and the shuttle worked well, but there seemed to be nicer selections near by, probably more expensive though.

    « Great Locatiom »

Although not a new hotel, it is clean and the personal are really great. Breakfast was hot and varied from eggs to fruit. Bed was a king and very comfortable. Airport van driver was very helpful and full of local information, such as pointing out the very first Chick-fa-Lay.

    4
    « Sizable airport hotel »

This Best Western is a sizable airport hotel, some miles from ATL. Facility was nice, rooms spacious, and breakfast good. The front desk was surprisingly inefficient, thou, particularly for an airport hotel. AFTER our stay, I learned the hotel determined we were a 'NO SHOW'. Very very awkward...

    3
    « Room cleaness »

Room was not completely clean, bathroom towels were dirty and there was no drinking water, entrance is very confusing, elevator are quite old and dirty, there was not ice on the floor I stay or any other service

« Hotel needs to be renovated »

The room was spacious but wans't very clean. Not a very quiet hotel. Average breakfast. The staff at front desk was very friendly. Good location to the airport, but far from the city. Amenities ok: only coffee was available. Free Wi-Fi.Parking free. The hotel isn't very clean and looks very old.

« What more could you want? »

A quick overnight stay on our way to Fort Myers to see the Eagles that's featured on the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam. As always, the staff is friendly, helpful, and makes us feel right at home in what has become our home away from home in Atlanta! Comfortable beds, efficient internet service, delicious breakfast... what more could you want?

    « Occasional business travel »

Service was very professional, breakfast was more than satisfactory, rooms were kept clean and comfortable and personal items were available when needed. The location was convenient to the airport and transportation to the airport was readily available.

    « Airport Noise »

This would be a great hotel if not for the Atlanta Airport being so close. Noise all night long. It was obvious that the hotel has been updated recently. The shower in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The beds were of superior quality. Unfortunately, we will not be staying here again.

    « Pre-Aruba Stay »

Wanted to stay near the airport before flying over seas. Located this BW and loved it. Nice updated decor. Nice gym that fulfills a full body workout. Room was very nice and I had a great nights sleep. They provide security in the parking area to watch over the vehicles. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

    4
    « Nice view »

Last minute arrangement close to the Airport.....loved the view and the room. Reasonable priced and nice staff! Missed my flight out and was lucky to find this place. Recommend it highly, may be my new Atlanta hotel.

    « Good hotel »

The appearance of the hotel and its staff was very good Had no problem with cleanliness of the room. The interior of elevator I took to and from my room was lacking compared to the décor of the hotel itself. The only drawback was he exterior noise which could not be avoided since it was close to the airport and highways. Shuttle went straight to airport, no stopping at other hotels to pick up passengers. Driver was very helpful with baggage on and off the shuttle. Noise from the room above me sounded like they let their child run around the room. Called the desk and the problem was resolved. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

    « Perfect for layover »

We stayed at this hotel on our way to and from Antigua as we had an overnight layover. It was perfect. Easy to use the shuttle both to and from the airport. They also have a breakfast in the morning and if you leave before breakfast they have a sack that you can take with fruit, juice and muffins. You do hear the planes during the night but you would also expect that with a hotel close to the airport. There are only a couple close by options for food which are IHOP and McDonalds but will get you by.

    2
« Very loud and horrible breakfast »

Windows are not insulated. You can see and hear the runway from 5AM to 11:30 PM in addition during nighttime the train will wKe you up. Breakfast is horrible (convenient food and oversuggard oatmeal choice everyday same choice). One day a dead bug lied un the breakfast room - enjoy your breakfast.

    4
    « The Extras count! »

This property offers all the usual amenities of most chains; however, the free shuttle service every half hour is important, the quality and number of free breakfast items which are organized for max efficiency if outstanding, and the helpful patient desk staff make all the difference between them and the "other" guys.

    5
    « Nice & Accommodating »

We booked a room for a one night stay. At the last minute our plans changed, but the hotel was completely accommodating without any issues. The location is close to downtown and easily accessible from the interstate. Our room was comfortable and the hotel is modern and appealing. We would definitely consider a return visit.

  • 3
    « good »

The hotel was nice enough for the price.......it was well kept as far as cleanliness an the staff was pleasant...the shuttle wasn't bad....but sometimes you may wait a little longer than thirty minute when trying to get from the airport

    3
    « Convenient overnight »

The hotel is reasonably close to the airport and operates a free shuttle on the hour and half hour. Room was comfortable but there is not a lot of sound-proofing, so as my room was on the airport side of the building, the take off noise was obvious, although not so much that I could not sleep. there are several fast food choices very close and a couple of other eating choices within walking distance.

    5
    « Terrific »

Excellent room, excellent service. I will return when I have business there again. Ease of finding hotel was so beneficial after a long day. Location was ideal for me. I will recommend to anyone who needs a break after a working day in Atlanta.

    4
    « Close to airport »

The room was roomy and updated. I liked the that they do not use comforters, so I believe the bedding system that they use called triple sheeted. This system puts a clean sheet on the bottom and encloses the "quilt" in 2 clean sheets. So you don't have to deal with those gross unwashed top quilts. The bathroom was nicely redone. The free breakfast is edible. If you don't mind the airport noise, it's a reasonably priced nice place to stay. I marked noisy on this form because of the airport noise not noise in the hotel.

    4
« really mixed on this place »

The room was great...very big, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, hot food included. Front desk was friendly. Now, we have stayed before at hotels that are near the airport, but this one, wow, the noise of the planes going by. If you decide to come here, bring your earplugs, the planes quit at around 11 but were back up and flying at 6 a.m. This is why I have mixed feelings on the place. The location, right off the interstate was great, and lots of places to eat nearby. You could have walked to Ihop

    3
    « quick visit »

Stayed on 7th floor, nice balcony, but noisy highway distraction. Hard to sleep at night. Located walking distance from iHop and McDonalds which is convenient. Souvenir shop located in hotel was perfect. Continental breakfast was the basic, cereal, oatmeal, waffle type deal. Bed was huge and comfortable. Fridge and microwave was in the room, definitely a plus. Front desk staff was friendly.

    4
    « excellent value »

Beautiful, clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Watched planes land trough window from comfortable bed. Could be a problem for sleep, but hey, it's an airport hotel. Lots of fast-food restaurants nearby. At great place for a layover before morning flight.

    4
« Close to the airport, great for layover and overnight stay! »

Helpful staff, very clean facilities. Check in was easy. The beds were comfortable. Free breakfast included the normal continental menu. Coffee and tea served in the lobby 24/7. This location offers free shuttle to Hartsfield airport.

    4
    « Value for Money »

Near to the busy airport. I faced no problem with the planes landing and taking off .. The breakfast was nice and wholesome but would have loved to see a lil more than the usual 2 variations. Staff was helpful and nice and the nicely equipped Gym kept me lean and fit during my 20 day stay here. Lots of places to grab a bite and IHOP does come in handy for a late night snack.

« Atlanta one day tour »

location was OK, but not close to restaurants. Forget the pub adjacent to the hotel! Staff was very helpful when changing from two nights to one night and allowing the use of a different credit card from the one used to book the room

    « Nice rooms »

This is a decent hotel, the staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean. The room was a good size, had a dorm sized refrigerator and microwave. The bed was very hard, though. It took a while for the shower water to get warm, but once it did, it stayed a constant temperature during my entire shower. The big problem with this hotel is the airport noise. If you stay here bring earplugs. Since the airport is an international airport, there are planes constantly 24 hours per day.

    4
« Great place to stay but much noise. »

Nice room, great staff. Would have liked it better if did not have the noise of jet planes and trains thru out the day and night. Getting around was difficult, not used to driving in six lanes of bumper to bumper traffic with people weaving in and out with just a half mile to try to make your exit!

    3
« Good value for money »

Room was clean and fairly large. Free shuttle. There is a McDonalds and other restaurants nearby. Not as close to the airport as other 'airport' hotels. Fine for a night, was good value for money. Breakfast was included.

    « Happy Family »

The gentleman who was the desk clerk on duty the night of my arrival was very courteous and helpful as I pondered how I would be able to extend my stay, although I only reserved initially to stay there for one night. Therefore the next day when I did extend my stay, he had assured me that my family would be able to keep the same room once I conducted the reservation. It was reassuring to know that he had made the notes in the system for his co-workers to review the next morning and we were indeed able to keep the same room.

    « Distress Stay - after a cancelled flight/rescheduling »

We waited a long time at the airport for our free shuttle, but everyone was very hospitable, and another shuttle driver offered to let us warm up in their shuttle. :-) Everyone else on our shuttle had airline vouchers, another story. We had opted for the "executive suite" for extra room and comfort as we were missing our first day of vacation. But the kitchenette was sparse, though we used the mini-fridge. It was 2 double beds, not in separate rooms even. It was clean/neat, the free breakfast was very reasonable. Just disappointing for an 'executive suite.'

    « Best Hotel! »

I came into Atlanta in the middle of the night and was not able to find a hotel that was willing to accommodate my family with out over charging us ... I happen to find the Best Western called and it was up hill from there! I only paid a check in early rate instead of a whole night stay like other hotels were wanting. Got to the room it was so clean and modern. Looks like the hotel had just been remodeled. The king size bed slept great! The hotel has night security so we always felt safe. Located right next to the hotel was a lounge and grill. We did not eat there but it was nice from what I saw the hotel has a gift shop as well. In the same parking lot there is a IHOP and to the left was a McDonald's. But i would suggest eating the hotels breakfast it was so good and had some great choices ... Eggs biscuits and gravy waffles bagels the list goes on. Also the items provided in the room were of good quality. The staff was friendly and the price was even better! I could have not picked a better place to stay in Atlanta. My son thought the planes coming into the airport was super neat! I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone! Also this hotel was about 15 mins from downtown making it super accessible to the attractions.

    2
« Wont Stay here again! »

I will not stay here again the beds are harder than rocks the hot water never gets hot the shower pressure is terrible, the soda machines dont work and advertise $12.50 a can. There were cobwebs in the room, kids running down the hall and all staff wanted to do was give 20 bucks off a 300 stay. Even though its close to the airport Its not worth the price.

« Clean and Helpfull staff »

I asked for a quiet room, and was happy with the room assigned to me. Breakfast was the normal BW. Location to downtown Atlanta and airport was great. Room was very clean. Plenty of "free" parking. Close to the interstate to Atlanta.

    « Excellent Airport Overnighter »

We needed a place near the airport with a shuttle to catch an early flight. This was an excellent choice. We went by first to check in and leave our luggage. The clerk was very helpful with shuttle info. We requested a room change and got it with no problem. After we dropped off our rental car we found the shuttle waiting and I suspect she sent it on ahead to wait for us. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was an open stall with a great shower head. Several nearby restaurants.

« Nice place, would stay again. »

I checked in here with no notice, having decided to leave Nashville early for my trip to Savannah, due to weather. I was given the upscale room which cost a bit more, but was huge. An improvement I would make would be a small table with 2 or 4 chairs, as there is room for this. The room has a separate sitting area, and I have seen others ask for a TV in there. The room has both a microwave and a fridge. I kind of dislike the little coffee makers that make one paper cup, especially as I dislike paper cups. Still, it is something. There is a nice little bar that serves food across the driveway, and if that does not suit, there is an IHop on the other side of that. There is also a McDonald's next door. The pool looked nice and the staff is pleasant. The bathroom is spacious -- large shower, no tub. Plenty of closet space and room for everything is available. The breakfast was acceptable as well. All in all, no complaints.

  • 3
« Not bad, but not great either »

Staff was great and the proximity to the airport made it easy and simple to check in. The room was clean and acceptable. Some of the furniture was a little worn and run down. (desk and chair). I would stay there again if in town.

    4
« Clean, Close to Airport, Friendly »

Friendly, welcoming staff, ok breakfast (about average for the category of property), clean, well appointed room. I'd LOVE to give this property an excellent, but the jet engine noise in the room even with the HVAC system fan on just isn't a fit for me. And the #1 thing I'm looking for in a room is a quiet, good night's sleep or what's the point?

    5
    « nice stay »

great stopover in Atlanta, good food and service. keep up the fine 24 hr a day service to tired air passengers. nice to be able to visit Atlanta with all its museums and eating places.. a good visit to a place I had not been to in the South. clean friendly even to Yankee skiiers at midnight.

    3
« Too Cold in Room/High Ceilings/Low Temps Outside Made for Bad Combo »

I had an after midnight check in and the temperature was set at 62. I raised the temp on the thermostat but by 2am still too cold. I believe the size of heater was inappropriate due to the higher than average ceiling height and the room was large. I called down to the front the desk to see if they could bring up more blankets but the phone rang and rang without an answer. Miserable night sleep but on check out the person checking me out did not ask any questions about my stay so mental note to self. I will not return.

    3
    « Good value »

One of many choices for hotels near the airport, this one offers a decent value with some trade offs. On the plus side: good service at the front desk; 14 minute shuttle ride to the airport; a decent bar and breakfast right next door and a comfortable, clean room. And it's just far enough from the airport that noise is not a problem. On the other hand, the hotel needs a facelift and feels kind of shabby. It's ok for a short stay while you wait for your next flight.

    4
« Very Good Atlanta Airport Hotel »

This BW is a good choice. They have a shuttle service that is timely and convenient. We were uograded because of my diamond status and were offered a suite that had a large sleeping area and a nice sitting area. The negative would be not having a televsion in the sitting area - sort of takes away from the extra room. Breakfast was fairly standard for BW but everything was kept well stocked and it was easy to get to items. Very friendly staff. Across the street from Joffrey's (see my review) - a nice bar and convenient place for very good food.

    5
    « perfect »

My flight was cancelled, so I ended up spending the night at this place. It's about a 10 minute ride from the airport, and there's a free shuttle. The staff was incredibly helpful! The decor is sparse, but it has a fitness center, outdoor pool, and a substantial breakfast every morning. The room was very clean and comfortable. The woman at the front desk (Delores) was incredibly kind and pleasant. Also, a few feet away, there's a restaurant/bar, plus IHOP, so it's like having two restaurants in the lobby of your hotel :)

    5
    « Great Value »

When staying in this area, you can't beat the value of the Best Western Atlanta Airport East. With a free breakfast and a 24hr IHop in the parking lot, as well as a Jofferys cafe, you won't go hungry if you're without a car. The hotel has all the amenities you would need, as well as a polite and helpful staff.

    « Very good staff »

Had short layover at ATL. This had good reviews and $89 rate. Shuttle was great, room was very good. Comfortable beds. Only problem we had was the noise. Our room was on 1st floor. Loud in lobby til around 11pm. Had to wake at 3 am for flight, otherwise we would have cared so much.

    5
    « Nice Best Western »

A surprisingly nice BW with views of the final approach to the Atlanta Airport. Request the southern rooms with a balcony on an upper level floor. I am an airport buff and really enjoyed the balcony watching the heavies coming in. The location has an onsite restaurant with few fair choices. There is an IHOP next door and a gas station convenience store within 200 feet. Other restaurants are within 5 minute drive. Rooms are nice and the front desk is very hospitable. Very close to airport and about a half hour drive from downtown.

« NIce Hotel, Too Loud »

Above average hotel, nice lobby, very friendly staff and easy check-in. Rooms were nice, comfortable bed, decent bathroom and stocked well. However being across from an airport has never been an issue till this trip. I was on 9th floor and the constant take offs make the room rumble at times and they are extremely loud and constant. I am in aviation and usually this would not be a bother but I can honestly say that for me this time it was loud and annoying. Perhaps a lower floor might have been quieter.

    « BEWARE!! »

If I could come up with any positives it is that this hotel is close to interstate & airport! Also the front desk staff is friendly & they did have someone out patrolling their parking lot at night! The negatives far outweigh the positives for us however! We booked two adjoining rooms as we had our kids with us. At first glance the rooms looked clean but our daughter found little black things in her bed (see photo) and when we removed the sheets the mattress cover was filled with stains! The window coverings had holes in them and both rooms had sticky stuff in front of the refrigerators (possibly a coolant leak?) We called to asked for new rooms but were told they would have to split our family up onto different floors. We asked to have housekeeping replace the bedding and were told that the only person on staff was the front desk attendant and she couldn't leave her station. We ended up going down and picking up clean sheets and making the bed ourselves. (One staff person for a hotel with 10 floors???) the view from most rooms overlooks the roof of the IHOP -not pleasant! (See photos). Although the front desk staff was regretful & friendly we would absolutely not stay here again and could not consciously recommend this hotel to anyone!

« Met Our Park, Sleep & Fly Needs »

Although this property sits adjacent to I-75, our room was quiet and clean. Breakfast was generous and early enough for us to make our mid-morning flight. I booked in July 2015 and was able to arrange a parking package, which was no longer available when I arrived; however, my reservation was honored. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again, but would probably need the parking package. Because we had driven all day, we appreciated IHOP that was located on what seemed to be the same property. We were able to walk across the front driveway to the walk surrounding the IHOP and an adjacent bar.

« Good location for football connection »

Great location that saved me the effort of having 2 drive 2 the game. Took the shuttle 2 the airport & then Marta on 2 the game. Except for the watered down OJ serviced for breakfast basically everything else was in order.

« Would Stay Again if Maintenance is Complete »

I stayed at this hotel for my Step 2 CS (medical license) exam, and it was only about 5 minutes away from the testing center. I was able to get a good nights sleep; the only downside was that during the day there was some work being done on the same floor. The men doing the work were louder than the equipment they were operating. Fortunately, I didn't have to sleep in or during the day. I was pleasantly surprised at the food available in the attached restaurant. The man who was at the bar taking orders was very nice and he is a credit to the establishment.

    « Disappointed »

My husband and I had used the Park, Sleep, and Fly program at this hotel before and had a good experience. Therefore, we decided to use it again. This time, however, we booked through ParkSleepFly.com (PSF.com). We drove 3 hours from Alabama to the hotel and arrived late. Our room was ready. It was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. They open breakfast at 6:30 am, so if you have an early flight you might not be able to use it. The shuttle from the hotel to the airport was on time. On the way back we had to wait for more than 30 minutes. They claim that the shuttle runs from the hotel to the airport every 30 minutes to the full hour and half hour. From the airport the shuttle is supposed to run also every 30 minutes (15 and 45). We went to the pick-up location and arrived there at 5:25 pm. At 5:50 pm there was still no shuttle in sight so we decided to call. They told us that we would have to wait 15 to 20 more minutes because the shuttle had just left the airport. If guests have to call for shuttle service, this is not communicated. When we booked through PSF.com, we had to pay a deposit to PSF.com which was shown on the booking confirmation. On the booking confirmation the remaining amount that we had to pay to hotel directly was also shown. At check-out the lady at the front desk made us pay the full amount, not recognizing the deposit. First she said, that we would have to prove that we paid it. When we showed it to her, she said that we had to pay the full amount. Of course, we didn't have time to argue in the morning because we had a flight to catch. Not a good start into vacation. We complained about it to ParkSleepFly.com and they helped us to get the deposit credited to our credit card except for $5.00. The hotel claimed that this was a new local fee they had to charge. We already paid a local fee in that amount and sent a copy of the receipt the hotel gave us, but never heard back from the hotel about that, no apology whatsoever. Even though the location is good, we would not recommend this hotel due to our last experience there.

« stranded in Atlanta airport »

When my Delta connect flight did not connect and I missed my vacation flight to Hawaii, I was stranded at the Atlanta airport and very upset. After hours of trying to find a new flight, I realized that I was stuck for the night. A quick search on the Internet led me to the Best Western in Hapeville. The service and friendliness of the staff there was the highlight of an otherwise miserable day.

« The Best Best Western Ever! »

    « Another great weekend! »

In town over the weekend for an appointment, but after that, sight-seeing and visiting museums with my grandson. Used my bonus points for a free night and thoroughly enjoyed the 9th floor ringside seat for the airplane traffic next door! The staff were very professional and smiling... and the room was immaculate... this is why I keep coming back! Oh yeah, we loved the omelet & bacon breakfast Saturday morning! Thank you Best Western Plus Atlanta Airport East; you're the best!

    « Good for a stopover »

We stayed here overnight as we wanted to be close to the airport. The shuttle bus situation was quite confusing as there were no instructions from the hotel (at least when booking through Expedia). When we left the airport we went to the shuttle queues and were directed to lane 3 by airport staff (not lane 4 which is marked 'hotel shuttles'). There was a queue there to get a general shuttle bus which took us to the hotel shuttles area (a 15 minute drive away). We waited around for a bit in the right area but didn't see the shuttle for Best Western East so we called them from the phones that are provided at the side of the station. It turned out you have to call them for them to send the shuttle. Once the shuttle arrived it was a 10 minute journey to the hotel. The driver was friendly and helped us with our cases. Check in was easy and the receptionist was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and spacious with a bed big enough to sleep four people! The bathroom was also large with a big wet room shower. The room had a microwave and fridge as well as a large TV with many channels. The decor of the room could be freshened up a little and it would be better if they provided longer pillows (there were only little square ones available). If you are sensitive to noise then bring ear plugs as the room is not soundproof and you can hear the road and planes. It didn't bother us too much apart from when some trains (I think it was trains!) kept coming past honking their horns really loudly in the middle of the night and waking us up! We popped across the road to McDonald's for a quick dinner, but there is also a cafe across the road which is open until 11pm and will deliver food to the hotel. You can get cold drinks and ice from vending machines in the hotel corridors. Breakfast was good and there were several hot and cold options. All the cutlery, plates and cups were disposable so it was easy to keep our table clear as we ate. Overall a good stay but shuttle info on the website or by email would be good, as would decent soundproofing.

Very nice and clean the room was spacious no complaints. The bathroom was nice. Not far from downtown took us 10-15 min located right by the highway which is good. Definitely a hotel I would use in the future. Enjoyed my stay

« Great hotel, right near the airport »

Great hotel and very friendly, willing staff. I stay here whenever I am at Atlanta, because it is very handy to the airport, offering a free shuttle bus to and from. The hotel is safe, very clean, and extremely comfortable. If you don't like the sound of aircraft, this may be too close to the airport, but for me, I really enjoy relaxing back to watch aircraft activity.

    « Poor Traveling Services »

The hotel shuttle information from the front desk is not accurate so you can be waiting long periods of time for a pick up from the airport. TV was unacceptable. At least 50% of the channels were not viewable.

« Who could ask for anything more? »

It was great hotel, an easy access hotel to the airport for a overnight layover. The noise from the airport was almost non nonexistence It seemed they quit flying around 10ish, if they were still taking off and landing I sure did not hear them. The place was nice clean and up to date. The bed and pillows were comfy, TV had great picture bathroom and room were spotless. Coffee was available in the lobby and it was delicious. The breakfast area was pleasant, with plenty of food and a few TV's to watch while you are eating. Shuttle was prompt, driver was very pleasant. The area was safe and well lit, and it was fun to watch the planes take off from my window. I should of taken pictures. Thank you to all that work hard at the Best Western Atlanta east to make this is lovely place to stay. My only regret was not going to I-Hop for Pumpkin Pancakes. Breakfast at the hotel was fine, but come on, Pumpkin Pancakes were right next door and I missed them. Rookie mistake! Would I say again, yes I would.

This is one of the good hotels i stayed at.... Extremely close to the Airport and very good service. The rooms were good, and the shuttle service is a definite Plus. Can improve a few things overall but overall a good experience

    « Very unprofessional! »

Stayed on the 8th. Credit cards charged without authorization.. charged for wrong card for parking. I have never seen so much go wrong at the front desk of a hotel. Big hassle trying to get everything straight with who got charged for what.

« Courteous staff, Comfortable stay, Cutting edge style »

I needed to get away from my family for a night to get some work done. I wasn't sure about doing it, but once I got in my room and saw how beautiful it was. When the staff were so friendly... I knew I made a good decision. The free wireless internet and desk area and the room had great lighting as well. I turned on the TV and got down to work. When I'd had enough, I got into the heavenly bed and slept so well.

« LOVED WATCHING THE AIRPLANES and SUNRISE »

I loved watching the airplanes coming in for a landing at Atlanta's Hartsville Airport. The view was spectacular in my opinion. This hotel has the million dollar view to watch and take beautiful photos of the airplanes. I will be bringing my son back soon to airplane watch.

« Very Good economical hotel »

The room are very comfortable, roomy and clean. The staff is very friendly and courteous. All of the attractions and places of interest are easy to reach from the hotel's location. It was great to have free and easy accessible parking. The free breakfast was plentiful and very good.. For the money, Best Western was a great deal considering how pricey Atlanta can be. A very great deal that does not sacrifice quality for cost.

« Good location with free parking »

I am fond of this hotel for its close distance to the airport and no extra charge for parking, breakfast or internet, which is not common to obtain for a hotel around ATL airport. Sleep quality is not a problem for a BEST WESTERN brand hotel just as this one in spite of the noise from the plane. I would like to return if there is a chance.

    « I felt unsafe »

Parking lot had a lot of homeless people panhandling, and signs stating not responsible for theft. Would not stay at this location ever again. Area is poorly lit and missed the entrance twice due to poor signage.

    « A Perfect Stopover »

My husband stayed at the Best Western Plus on October 18th in order to catch an early morning flight to Punta Cana the next day. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and very comfortable. There was a nice and very substantial breakfast available the next morning. The only issue I had was having to wait a bit longer than I would have liked at the airport for the shuttle to the hotel - overall, a nice stay.

« Good value for money »

Late evening arrival, morning departure......we just needed a comfortable , clean room, no luxury facilities needed, so this hotel was perfectly adequate . The rooms are spacious, If a little dull, and dark. The breakfast area is bright. The breakfast offerings are bland and plastic.........but remember , we are talking value for money here. Pay quite a lot more if you wish.

    « Airport convenience »

The hotel is behind a restaurant and they share a common drive, so it's hard to find and the turn is easy to miss. The parking lot is terrible and does not accommodate parking while flying even though it is an airport hotel

    « Amazing... Nicely Done!!!! »

10/31/15....The hotel is clean and inviting!! The room was excellent!! No complaints at all from the hotel staff to the actual hotel itself! Before I even got back to AL the charge for the room had already been taken from my account!! PERFECT TRIP!!!

    « A beautiful hotel for a great stay »

we had a room on the tenth floor;1004 we had balcony view. not only this room was good. This hotel is spotless well down to the large trash bins;they look like they were just bought;they have the shining and very clean look. Room nicely furnished. Beautiful carpets adding such great life and color to those areas. The whole outlook of this hotel is beautiful. It's our first time staying in the plus; we always stay in the just best western. The plus is really a plus;Right away I recognized the difference and was happy with the upgrade I made. The breakfast was good; with each morning different choices and large varieties to choose from. The entire hotel has a modern and inviting look. The general manager, Meesha ,and her staff are wonderful people and are doing all they can to make sure each and every guest is happy. I really enjoyed my stay there. There are lots of restaurants there;so you need not to worry where you will have your meal. I.H.O.P OPENS 24/7.

    « Nice, Spic n Span Hotel!! »

Pleasantly surprised! Very clean and nicely decorated hotel! On site restaurants: IHOP, Joffrey's and McDonalds right beside. 2 negatives: musty smell in hallway(not overbearing though) and no access to the balcony in our room(locked, I'm guess for liability purposes). Easy/fast check-in/out, welcoming hotel staff. Overall: recommended hotel, would stay here again!

« If you are going to the PEC »

Great hotel, great location next to the airport and across the street from the PEC (if you don't know what the PEC is don't worry). Excellent breakfast choices - particularly liked the egg and cheese omelets. Airline traffic was audible but not offensive, and actually ended about bedtime and did not begin again till morning. Actually made for a stunning show from the room balcony at sunset. I would absolutely stay there again.

    « Hotel Stay »

I stayed at the Best Western Hapeville, Ga. The room was a nice size for me and my family. It was very nice and clean. It have everything we needed as if we were home. I felt safe police present was everywhere. The staff was very helpful. When visiting Atlanta I will stay at this hotel again.

« Acceptable for one night. »

Stayed here for one night prior to catching an early flight. Room was clean enough, but somewhat noisy. Coffee maker was broken. The most frustrating part was that I forgot my pillow in the room, and got the run around when we called about it. I detailed the woes of my lost pillow in the post visit email survey. Manager emailed me directly to apologize and told me she would look for the lost pillow if I described it to her. Which I did, but never heard from her again. Disappointing. It's a fine option for one night, but I wouldn't stay there again.

« Great value and stay near teh airport »

Great place near ATL for an overnight stay. Rooms are very clean but not luxurious. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Great continental breakfast before you catch your flight. Only minor complaint was hotel shuttle. We nded up being stranded at the airport and hitched a ride on a shuttle from a neighboring hotel. Next morning the ride back to the hotel was wild- high speed, crazy turns, and bumpy shortcuts through parking lots.

« very good value for money »

We stayed at the Best Western last night and will return there at the end of our vacation. Room was spotless , huge walk in shower, hotel staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast huge had fun making a waffle but lots of choice . Lots of fast food places Mac Donalds & I hop next to the hotel, we ate in the bar just across from the hotel very reasonable good food. Yes there are aircraft its an airport hotel and we loved watching them take off from our balcony. The shuttle service to and from the airport works well but Atlanta airport immigration is slow and took two hours yesterday. We are looking forward to staying again at the best Western might even give the small well equipped gym a test drive

    « Good but loud »

Booked in advance with Booking.com but got worst room on 5th floor. In between the two elevators and on airport side. Like sleeping on the LA Freeway. IHOP is right next door as is McD's and Wendy's. IHOP staff is extremely nice.

« My Stay at Best Western Plus »

The front counter staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff watched me like a hawk as I ate my breakfast; she might be right, I need to watch my intake. But, I didn't need the staff watching me like I was trying to steal a biscuit! Housekeeping staff was 50/50. One did a fantastic job, the other refused to give me a towel when coming up from the gym. The gym is great. The bathroom in the gym was filthy. Overall: Yes, I would stay at this hotel again. The courtesy of the ladies at the front counter superceded the other minor annoyances!

    « Good Overnight Choice »

This hotel is in an older part of Atlanta with limited area amenities. Rooms were recently renovated and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Across the parking lot is an IHOP and bar/restaurant. Shuttle service is prompt.

Great hotel to relax with your family. My wife were looking for a hotel to relax our feet and Best Western delivered with such extraordinary service. The breakfast was delicious. The decor was great. Thank so much for the hospitality.

« The Only Hotel WE Stay in Atlanta »

We come here a few times a year. It is always 100% except this one time where the AC was really loud during the night, We checked out then turned around and decided to stay one more night. We got a room that the AC was in working order. BTW. They have upgraded the bathrooms and they are really really nice.

« Great Place to stay - close to airport »

This is a great hotel to stay at when you are in Atlanta. It is close to the airport and a free shuttle is provided. Our room was clean and quiet. The staff is very friendly and the "free breakfast" is amazing. Much better then most hotels.

« Good place for short overnight stay near airport »

So the area here is a little more old Atlanta, think 30-50 years ago sort, except for the Porsche Driving Experience facility across the street. The hotel was clean, and the folks were nice. Room was good size, clean, firm bed, seating and desk. Had small fridge. Bathroom was decent size, shower (no tub) was one of the largest I've seen in a hotel, much less a budget hotel. Only negative was due to the proximity to the airport it was quite noisy, even into the night. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper so wasn't an issue for me but it you're bothered by ever little bump and noise you probably should go farther out from the airport. It took about 10 minutes to get to the airport with me driving. There is also a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes (on the hour and half hour) from the hotel.

    « Beyond expectations »

Not a big fan on Georgia much less their standards on hotel industry. This Best Western Plus appearance, staff, service, everything was great. I have stayed at Best Western in Chicago, Il over 100 times and this experience clearly made this hotel chain to my top 5.

    « Hotel stay »

The hotel staff, the location, and amenities were all excellent. The security personnel at the hotel were very cordial and I noticed that they were really on their P's & Q's as far as the security of the hotel property is concerned. The constant taking off and landing of planes at the airport was somewhat annoying if one is trying to sleep during the day. However, I am traveling to Atlanta in May 2016 and again in Jul 2016 and definitely will stay at this property on each visit.

    « Very Good »

We spent a night here after flying into Atlanta. There was a free shuffle bus from the airport and a free shuffle next morning to the car rental depot. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable and there was a good bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was a good surprise. Just across the road was a restaurant/bar in which we had a good evening meal. All staff we met in the hotel were friendly and helpful Not a long stay hotel but for a day or two after arriving or before departing it was very good Thank you

    « Great experience »

The room was clean and the service was great! It was my first time staying here and I would definitely stay here in the future. I didn't experience any problems. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a place near the airport!

« Great for the price! »

The staff are SUPER friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a decent size and have a fridge & microwave. Showers are huge. Overall clean, great location, and even a free breakfast. Wish I had a chance to check out the pool and fitness center but it was a quick trip. No complaints from me!

« Great Hotel but needs a recycling program »

The rooms were large, ac was quiet, beds comfortable and the staff was very helpful. What more can you ask for? I gave it a 4 only because of the lack of a visible recycle program. And it is not just this hotel. In our recent travels we were appalled by the waste generated by hotels that could be eliminated and/or recycled if they made a real effort to be green. Not just a sign that says put your towels on the towel bars if you don't want to wash them and save water but recycle bins placed where guests (that recycle at home) see and use.

« Good Option for Park and Fly »

Hotel offers extended (up to 14 day) park and fly option and free shuttle to/from ATL (domestic terminal only). Room was roomy with a large bathroom and shower. Decor is a little dated. Located next to an Ihop and bar/grill but not much else around except fast food (IHOP was good). Front desk was friendly upon checkin. Shuttle runs a set schedule for most of the day but is on call rest of the time.

    « Nice place »

This Best Western is very convenient to the airport. Clean, a little dated, but all in all a decent place to stay overnight. Breakfast is typical, and the coffee is good. Would certainly stay there again if circumstances warrant!
