Great place to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon, great staff and very comfortable. With the entrance to the south rim only 15 minutes away it's location couldn't be more convenient. We enjoyed dinner here, they also have a pub and a bowling alley!

Terrible experience at this place... room had no ac... most of outlets didn't work in room.... when asking to talk to a manager I was told they would be in next day.... when I asked for a name they stated they couldn't tell me due to privacy reasons... wait can't tell me your managers name!?!?!?!?! What a croc! Then went further what time will your "unnamed" manager be in? Can't tell you sir due to privacy reasons.... WHAT? I'm sorry that's a joke... bowling alley was told to us twice it opened at 3.... didn't open until after 5pm and the employee was less than happy to be there... my kids were disappointed. I couldn't be more unhappy about a place especially for $400 a night.... Joke! Don't stay here even though it appears the ownership has put money into it. F- RATING PS FUEL IN THIS TOWN WAS $6 A GALLON... HIGHWAY ROBBERY!

This was a great stay. Hotel was clean and cozy, and had lots of fun activities/extras for when you get back from the canyon at night. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend to anyone going to Grand Canyon!

My family and I take 3 week trips and spend most of this nights in a best western and never have we stayed in one like the Squire Resort. From the grounds maintenance to the room cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff, this hotel exceeded all expectations. I was a little hesitant about the $20 resort fee but we took advantage of the movie in the pool every night as well as the free s'mores nightly and fantastic gym and it was well worth it. The breakfast buffet, although delicious, was not worth $20 a person but that would be my ONLY downfall with this hotel. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Hotel knowingly put us in a building with a broken fire alarm, click, phone , thermostat. After being awakened several times we complained & were moved at 8AM. Spent next day recovering instead of touring. Particularly difficult with small child.

No h2o that wasn't scalding had to move took 1 hour to get new room key, fire alarm went off 7 times in the next 3 nights, deafening alarm! Always started at 2 or 3 took over 30 minutes for them to shut off 2nd one going off at 4ish needless to say leaving us completely unrested. We stay 4 nights paid 1,556.00, my room was never cleaned! They put fresh shetts on the 4th night but didn't vaccine, replenish coffees, staff was rude and lazy, the night we had to move, no one came with a key so in my robe I had to drive to the lobby and get it myself. On the last night offered another room but it wasn't handicapped capable, plus it was midnight and she said they did not anticipate any more problems with the alarm, it's a lot to move rooms with a weeks worth of travel gear, medical provisions and being in our mid 60s. No internet 3 of 4 days, honestly you could not dream up this stuff! Ps the alarm decibels were deafening and went on for 30 minutes! And yet the fire department did not come to any of the alarms!!!

Excellent front desk. Breakfast good, servers good. Downstairs bar employees need more focus.. maybe a bad day.focus issue, not real busy at time, preparation was not there. However,we will be back. thank you

The hotel was clean. We had fun in the bowling alley downstairs. S'mores at night were nice. The outdoor fireplace was a nice spot to relax and reflect on our day. Jordan in the squire pub was amazing. He was working in the pub mostly by himself and you would never know it. He greeted everyone with a smile. He never rushed a single person. He answered all their questions without hesitation. He was kind and courteous and made you feel like you're the only customers he had even though the place was pretty full. If only more people in the customer service industry had half the professionalism, enthusiasm and energy he had it would be amazing. Rick at the front desk was also very pleasant. He made us feel glad to have chosen this location for our short visit.

Really a 3.5 for me. Pros and cons equal. Pros: Great customer service—very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, great pillows. Gourmet coffee products. Great rewards program. Easy to earn free nights and they status match. Room was well-furnished with microwave, safe and mini-fridge. Filtered water and Starbucks coffee dispenser in lobby. Pool, hot tub, corn hole and arcade on-site. Shuttle bus into Grand Canyon. And it's free! It's great. Cons: upon entering our building there was an overpowering scent of toxic-smelling adhesive. A large red light flashes irregularly in the room all night. But mainly…NOISE! I stay in hotels more than 50 nights/year. I have never experienced this particular problem. The floor shakes…like an earthquake when somebody walks, runs, jumps or opens or closes (slams) a door. So when I was trying to sleep…I heard loud noises from all the above, and felt them as jolts of various strengths in my bed! That and the big red flashing light did not really work for me. I think the most disappointing factor was when I checked in I was assured that this was “a very quiet room (on the second floor with someone above us) and they never get any complaints.” Hmmmm. Maybe it's because they are so nice? In any case, unless there is another building within this complex that is really somewhat quiet and without earthquake simulator, I will have to pass. I'm a light sleeper, though. It would be perfect for others I'm sure. So much to do here and they make it easy.

This is an older resort with not many room updates. The pools were very cold. The inside pool area was dirty. There was a bandaid on a chair and used towels everywhere. We asked for a king bed and paid for a king bed but when we got to our room it had 2 double beds. The staff was anoid when asked questions. The parking is horrible. Not enough spaces for each building.

Hotel is in a decent location, not far from the Grand Canyon NP. Bathroom seemed to be recently remodeled, but the (cheap?) faucet leaked. Room was okay, although I had to fix the curtain which was partially unattached. Excellent, clean common area around the pool with activities (ping pong, cornhole, live band, free smores, bar and plenty of seating). Good place for families As a whole, the grounds are very well maintained. Looked like the buildings just got a fresh coat of paint. I booked two rooms under the same reservation and they were located at opposite sides of the property which was annoying.

Pulling up to the hotel, we were shocked how nice and how big it was! The room was air conditioned with a comfortable bed, cable TV, and a nice bathroom. The real benefits of this hotel came from everything it offered - a large outdoor/indoor pool area with a bar, activities, and plenty of space to sit and relax. Inside were multiple restaurants, an arcade, and a little store. Food is definitely pricey, but that's to be expected right next to the Grand Canyon. Hotel was only 20 minutes from the entrance to the South Rim, which made for an easy morning drive in. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return!

My recent stay at the Squire Resort at the Grand Canyon Best Western was a dream come true! From the moment I stepped foot into this breathtaking property, I knew I was in for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The resort's location is unparalleled - at the doorstep of one of the world's most awe-inspiring wonders, the Grand Canyon. I visited there with my mom who had just recently gotten married and my family visiting from Australia. We enjoyed every bit of our stay, from the luxurious pool, the impeccable dining, playing games at the arcade with my nephews, and enjoying the corn hole, chess board, and pin-pong tables out on the front lawn right next to the pool. The attention to detail in the room was impeccable - it was evident that every aspect was designed with utmost care to ensure guests' comfort and delight. The room's modern amenities, plush bedding, and scenic views of the canyon made it an idyllic retreat. The resort's amenities are second to none. We found ourselves indulging in the outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi, which offered a perfect blend of relaxation and invigoration while enjoying the breathtaking vistas surrounding us. Also, we enjoyed the movie nights and smores provided at the indoor pool and fire pits. Above all, it was the kindness and hospitality of the Squire Resort team that made my stay truly unforgettable. From the concierge to the housekeeping staff, everyone went above and beyond to ensure that every moment of my stay was extraordinary. If you're looking to see one of the seven wonders of the world, I highly recommend you stay here and do it!

Review of the Squire Resort at the Grand Canyon, BW Signature Collection: My family and I decided to visit the Squire Resort at the Grand Canyon for the first time to celebrate my brother and father's birthdays and to enjoy the facilities and a visit to the stunning Grand Canyon. However, our experience from the beginning was not entirely pleasant. After an exhausting 17-hour journey from Texas, we arrived at the hotel and encountered an unwelcoming reception. The first person who attended to us, and later Ms. Maria, both hotel employees, did not make us feel welcome. From the start, we were informed of a $30 charge for early check-in, which we understood as we have done this elsewhere without issues. However, the situation became more complicated when they told us that they could not find one of our reservations and we had to contact Expedia. After communicating with a friendly Expedia agent, we obtained another reservation number, which they said would help the hotel staff find our original reservation. Although I understand that communication issues can arise, the uncooperative and unfriendly attitude of the staff throughout this process was unpleasant and stressful. Finally, after dealing with these difficulties, Ms. Maria asked if there was any other name under which the reservation had been made, and they finally found our original reservation. However, they informed us that the rooms would not be ready until 4 pm. I opted to pay the additional $30 to get the room early, which didn't bother me in itself, but I was disappointed that I only had the option to switch to a room with two smaller beds instead of the room I had originally booked with a king bed. Moreover, up to that point, I was still waiting for the other room that was supposed to be given to us due to the initial reservation problems. This lack of efficiency and courtesy during the check-in process left a negative impression on our stay. So far, the only positive thing I can mention is that the room we were finally assigned is close to the pool. However, I hope the rest of our stay improves, and we can fully enjoy the facilities and the Grand Canyon during the next two days we'll be here. I hope the hotel staff can improve their attitude and cooperation to ensure a more pleasant and hassle-free stay.

TLDR: room a/c broken and they kept renting out the room; bathroom tile grout incredibly dirty; expensive breakfast ($25/person) for low value with terribly untrained waitstaff. Details below. Our air conditioning was not working upon our arrival. Maintenance came to work on it and said the chiller upstairs had been fixed that afternoon, and things should cool off. He brought us two box fans that we had seen outside the next room when we arrived. We managed to sleep through the night, which was manageable since the temperature dropped outside. The next morning the temps started rising again in our room. We were told maintenance would attempt to fix it, and if not, we would receive a call that day to let us know to prepare for a room move. We did not receive a call, but the air was definitely not working when we returned late that evening. Since it was late we made use of the box fans again. When I spoke to the front desk the next morning, they claimed we did not receive a call because our air had been fixed. At check out, management took off $100 per night and comped our breakfast (which was also a great disappointment for the cost). We appreciated the compensation, but would have preferred a better stay and more adept problem-solving staff. I was also disappointed that this had clearly been an ongoing issue since the fans were nearby, and was sure the same room would be rented out again. The hotel is quite charming even though a seasoned property. One place this really showed was in the bathroom grout. The floor grout was so dirty and spottily discolored in high traffic areas as compared with other areas of the floor, I was grossed out and did not ever take my flip flops off. The bathroom grout is likely beyond saving through thorough cleaning and should be redone.

This hotel is great for families. The rooms are spacious. There is arcade with billiards, air hockey, bowling, also lawn games by pool. There are both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. Use of laundry facilities is free for guests. Starbucks coffee 24/7 in the lobby. Only negative is that many of the laundry machines were out of order. Breakfast is good with pricing in line with the area. This is one of only a few places in Tusayan where you can get a hot breakfast. We did not eat any other meals st the hotel. Overall a great stay and a good choice for families.

Hotel amenities are excellent- indoor pool, outdoor pool with fireplace and a fun vibe, spas, arcade, pub, and restaurant. Pros: - spacious rooms - on-site restaurant was delicious. Everyone in our party enjoyed their selections (steak frites, Mather burger, Asian salad, wrap, kids meals). Note, don't bother picking a steak temp because they cook them all the same, but the red wine glaze is SOOO amazing it doesn't matter. - close to Grand Canyon - Amenities make it so you don't have to go off property if you don't want to - arcade is fun and has billiards, air hockey and bowling - pool was fantastic- nice for kids and adults, which isn't always easy - pub had nice selection, we got the nachos and ate them poolside - although big, everything is very accessible. The lobby is pretty and has a lovely waterfall by the main three story staircase. Cons: - A/C didn't work well in our room, though another room in our party was fine. We had two technicians come out in two days and they couldn't get it to work well. Not great with record breaking heat waves. - room is outdated with heavy carpet, table and nightstands have moveable glass tops that we had to take off so our toddler would stop playing with them - large tub, difficult to get in and out of Other- breakfast was delicious, but limited. I wouldn't pay $20 per adult again. Overall, I'd def stay here again, but would ask to move to a different room at the first sign of ac trouble. Try the steak- you won't regret it!

Great pool area, indoor pool and hot tub and outdoor pool and hot tub, lounge chairs and tables with chairs. Very nice. Outdoor bar and grill, fire pits with chairs, bowling and pool tables, quick check in and check out.

Staff were helpful but the hotel had a tired feel and the room needed a deep clean or refurbishment. Watch out for the $20 per day resort fee. This only came to my attention at check out when I had to ask to see the bill.

If you enjoy hiking all day and coming back to a hot room with little to no cool air then this is the place for you. If you like taking cold showers just to cool off when you're in your room then by all means you'll love this place. I went to the desk the first morning after dealing with a hot room all night and told them the air wasn't working. While we were in our room packing up our things to transfer rooms the maintenance men showed up and said they “fixed” the air. We proceeded to gather our belongings and I went over to feel the air coming out and it was still warm air!! We go to our room with air, and it was still warm air blowing out of vents. The thermostat was set at 65. We go to dinner and come back and it was a tolerable temp. I'm typing this now at 1am and I am burning up. There is zero cool air in this place except the lobby. It just sucks because everything else was good. The turf area outside is a nice family area. But trying to sleep when your room is this hot is miserable. This place is too expensive to be having this problem. Spend your money elsewhere!!

The hotel is under new mgt. The main area and Lobby are redone and look nice, especially the pool and outdoor areas. However, upon entering the buildings hallways and actual hotel rooms, these is a vast difference in feel and cleanliness. Our room was on the bottom floor of the 2000 building. The hallway and room were both very dark. The hotel room lights are not bright and the lamp shares were ripped and had a few bugs on them. Overall the room ia very dated. The room did not have the AC on or plugged in so it was hot and musty, which gave an overall bad impression. There were main things that concerned me. First, the windows that open to the parking lot, on the bottom floor, do not lock. There is a bar that keeps them from opening but, the window can still be opened 4-5 inches. I was very uncomfortable with this and wished it would lock properly. Second, the bathroom shower dis not drain while showering. We showered in 3-4 inches of standing water, in an already dated and undesirable bathtub. I could not bring myself to let my children shower in there, even after hiking in the Grand Canyon. I did report the problem to the desk and was kind of made to feel that was normal. The proximity to the park was wonderful, but I would keep looking for another hotel.

Stayed two nights and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of parking and nice pools for the kids. The hotel has lots of amenities like free laundry machines, a bowling alley and a gift shop. The hotel is right outside the Grand Canyon which was great. The buffet breakfast was not enjoyed by my family and was very expensive. I would say find another place to eat breakfast. Overall I'm glad I stayed here and would stay here again.

This hotel was marvelous, very comfortable with so many amenities. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub under the stars with the snow all around. The pub had a great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. The hotel is not far from the grand canyon

Booked and then cancelled almost immediately as we decided to stay in the park. Payment was taken the following day even though the booking had been cancelled. I had to chase it up and there was no apology, not even a ‘regards' at the end of the message! I now have to wait for 7-10 days to get the refund back. Not great customer service if you ask me.

Very comfortable hotel with excellent proximity to the Grand Canyon. Very comfortable lobby, helpful staff, great amenities and love the fireplaces in the common areas. Food is pricey so bring some snacks, but there are items on the menu that are lower in cost depending on what you select. Pizza in pub downstairs is great and soup and the tacos very good in lobby lounge.

Very clean, excellent amenities, and very close to the entrance of the south rim Unfortunately, the main restaurant was closed for renovation, and there was a limited selection at the pub Otherwise, we really enjoyed the stay. Very clean room and excellent gym.

Was extremely disappointed. Apparently they had a system crash and so have charged my credit card twice. One amount has been posted and the other is pending still which means it's lowered the amount available to me on my credit card, I told the person at check in and only response was “yeah our system crashed a couple days ago”. Staff seem very nonchalant about their jobs. Had to go across the road for food at the Grand Hotel.

Stayed here mid-December for a few days, family of three. Lovely large room, modern large bath and shower. Good location to to the park. Large hotel with a lot of amenities, and the pool was well maintained and open. No issues.

I was charged extra for meals I didn't order. I have been trying to reach management for a month without any response. On my check out day, found a breakfast charged to my room number that I didn't do. When I declined, I was told the manager will reach out to me. She never did. Called multiple time. manager always busy and she never called me back. My credit card was charged. These are a bunch of thieves

I accidentally booked 1 room for 2 nights instead of 2 rooms for 1 night. Not only did they refuse to refund the accidental night but they even added insult to injury by charged me $15 for parking on the second night when I wasn't even there, and they were able to sell the room I'd already paid for a second time. In addition to that, they don't provide breakfast like most hotels do. I've stayed at the Grand Canyon many times before and there are much better hotels than Best Western.

The hotel is conveniently located just a few miles south of the Grand Canyon National Park south entrance in Tusayan. As a Best Western Premier hotel, it goes above and beyond to offer the traveller a very rewarding and relaxing experience. Rooms are spacious, clean with very comfortable beds. We found the food and service to be excellent as well at the Hotel's Canyon Room and Coronado Room. This is our fourth stay at the hotel and we continue to highly recommend it to anyone travelling to the Grand Canyon south rim.

Friendly checkin, comfortable rooms. We had some issues with air conditioner/heat in the room and it was rectified immediately by competent staff. We would highly recommend this hotel. Loved our experience. Breakfast was delicious.

I have been staying at the Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire Inn for about five Thanksgiving Holidays in a row. It is always a nice, clean place to stay. The workers are helpful. But foremost is the quality of the room which is so important especially when staying a number of nights in a row. No worries about cleanliness there! You can't go wrong with the Premier!

Super Clean super comfy Delicious breakfast Laundry is possible, even use credit card. I can recommend this hotel to my friends and family. I should have come here if I visit grand canyon. Thank you!!!

Extremely close to Grand canyon south rim. This is the place to stay if you are visiting Grand canyon National park. Enjoyed the stay here also breakfast and dinner at their first floor restaurants. Rooms were of big size, laundry facility and internet available.

The hotel is quite dated and could just a remodel. It is clean though, so if the decor isn't important to you, you will be pleased. Our room was quite large. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. It had kind of a musty smell when we first arrived, but it seemed to clear out once we turned the air on. The bathroom is huge with lots of counter space. They have a bowling alley and a small arcade. It's dated too, but our boys enjoyed it and that's all that matters. The arcade takes quarters and it's a lot of older games. There are no USB ports for chargers, so be sure to bring plugs for those.

Rachael really helped us out with our reservations. We book one to many nights on the app. They are nonrefundable. After explaining our circumstance, she fixed our reservations. when we come back, we will be staying here.

In my opinion this property should never be a “Premier”. Maybe back many years ago, but for today's standards is way below. The rooms haven't been updated in years, the decorations are old and outdated. We have stayed at other “Premier” properties and they were much better than this

All ok. Comfortable. Friendly Staff. Clean Room. A little pricey compared to other Best Westerns but it's at the Grand Canyon so probably not too bad considering. Use this hotel on my way to camping in Utah and like that I can get a room where I can park right outside the room...move stuff to the room...pack and repack a little easier than slogging through a hallway and elevator.

The Premier Best Western is a great hotel. Fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and hot tubs make evening recreation and leisure fitness enjoyable. There's even a bowling alley on the premises if you're traveling with kids. I highly recommend this hotel for family or intimate couple getaways.

The prices at this hotel are scandalous. The proximity to the Grand Canyon allows BW to charge exorbitant prices for very poor accommodations. It is rundown, dark and in need of a renovation. I could not eat at the restaurant because main course were priced upwards of $30 for pasta!!!! BW is making money hand over fist at this location and providing a horrible product.

Our room was spacious, like staying in a luxury apartment. Food options were excellent. Really great breakfasts. Pools, hot tubs and gym were great. Hotel staff and dining staff, even though being short staffed at times, were considerate and performed their duties above and beyond. Great location for visiting the Grand Canyon.

Never stay here folks, rooms was nasty, unclean, broken mirrors, mold on shower curtain, garbage on floors, broken thermostat…. No help from staff except when checking out-we were offered free breakfast…. What a joke. Seriously stay somewhere else!

I guess the biggest problem for me was the horribly flat, very lumpy pillows, plus the fact that my bf decided to turn the a/c down to 65 and all that cold air was blowing on my back all night. The a/c unit for some reason was aimed right at my bed So when morning came, I was in excruciating pain and could barely move. And when I did move, I actually would scream in pain. This pain was so bad that it affected my driving where I was actually seeing double in my left eye. So a vacation of a lifetime was totally ruined When I complained about it at the desk all I got was a very weak, “I'm sorry”.

couldn't have been more pleased with this establishment. Friendly staff and accommodating. Restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Both pools were operating as well as the hot tub. Other various activities for both children and adults. Location was excellent for visiting the Grand Canyon

Excellent hotel. Very large room, arcade, bowling alley, indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, great room amenities, clean room. The staff was super friendly and courteous, even the man who was vacuuming the hallway when we left. He turned the vacuum off as we approached and greeted us. Great value for this hotel. We would definitely stay here again

My husband and I only stayed one night at the Best Western Premier. The hotel was so convenient to the entrance to the Grand Canyon, the king bed was very comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was delicious. This property appears to be older and rooms aren't updated, but it was what we expected after staying in other national park Best Western hotels. We would consider staying here again if we are in the area.

We could not have been any closer to the entry of the Grand Canyon and walking distance to great food. Our room was clean, (no smelly "damp room" musty smell. The food offered on property was delicious. Was very family friendly too with the bowling alley, arcade and billiard tables downstairs.

Just a wonderful stay. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice, we were in main building. Close to everything. Would absolutely recommend. If I would say something negative it would be that there was a dirty towel hanging in the closet from the guests before. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

Hotel was very nice and was quite spread out. The outside courtyard was large and very clean. There were indoor and outdoor pools. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the air conditioner in my room and they immediately switched me to another room.

We were impressed with the warmth of the reception and concierge. We were celebrating a birthday and I had asked if we could have a nicer room that's not facing the carpark. The reception made changes and gave us a room at the new building. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was not included, but that was not a issue. Restaurants, fast food joints are just short drive out. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and were more than satisfied. The hotel is well-located - close to the entrance of the Park (the reason for our stay), has excellent amenities (gym, indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi), and nice views! The staff is welcoming and the place feels local by the design and historic photographs that are also informative! Only comment the mattress could have been a little harder (but that is particular to me!)

Disappointed with the room which was small and more basic than we would have expected for a hotel of this standard although it was clean ( block 3000) The food in the bar was average quality whereas the food offered by the restaurant was very expensive. We should have asked for a better room to make our stay more enjoyable as the location of the hotel and other facilities are good.

Best Western Premier hotels never disappoint us. A great night sleep, great shower, relax with a holiday feeling and great food. Staff is always friendly and take time to satisfy our demands. Hotels are spotless and often will offer many services. We definitely recommend BW Premier Hotels!

We wanted a hotel near the Grand Canyon and found this Best Western. The location was perfect and the hotel itself is lovely. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had a room with two queen beds and plenty of space. There were two vanity areas which made getting ready much easier. The bathroom was large with a huge shower/bathtub. I wish a rubber shower mat had been provided because the bottom of shower got slippery with the soap and hard water. There were lots of choices in the breakfast buffet and I thought it well worth the price. It is very convenient for the Grand Canyon National Park, tour pick-ups, and as unexpected benefit, I encountered a little herd of elk across the street during my morning walk! Overall, it was great, and I'd definitely go back.

On site restaurants very helpful. The rooms were spacious with a Fridge. Location was great near Grand Canyon. Rooms were quiet. Overall good stay however be aware no housekeeping services and if you don't want to be disturbed on your last day make sure to put the do not disturb sign out.

First site of this BWP you get a nice impression of the hotel and lobby look very nice. Think they are trying to make you think you are in a upscale hotel. Don't let that fool you. The rooms are dingy, dark and unattractive. The rooms are very dated and the bathroom are small. They have a 4PM check-in, we arrived early and asked if we could check in. They had a room ready but would charge us $30.00 for an early check-in. We had a 3:30 tour so ended up checking in at 7 PM, after the tour. We have traveled all over the world and have never been charged for checking in, an hour or two early if a room is available. Glad I did not agree to give them anymore money for a terrible room. Unfortunately there are not many hotel options in Tusayan. But if you can stay somewhere else. We were put in one of there outer building. No luggage carts were available in this building and so we had to make several trips to hand carry everything to our room. The only positive thing I can say is there were 2 luggage racks in the room.

Comfortable room, nice property and convenient to a Grand Canyon entrance. We enjoyed having dinner in the restaurant. I was surprised to learn their was no traditional FREE Best Western breakfast, at this location they have a $20 per person breakfast buffet; we opted out of the breakfast buffet.

This place is the best. Close to the Grand Canyon, and all the nature and beauty surrounds you. Everything about this Best Western was great, the room, the staff and the food. If your going to the Grand Canyon this is the place to stay.

Fridge wasn't working, our food went bad, called front desk, Stefan just said “ok.” Reiterated that the fridge wasn't working and food went bad. Stefan was indifferent on the phone so I went downstairs a ti talk to someone else about the fridge. Stefan either didn't get the manager or the manager didn't want to speak with us and Stefan accused us of wanting something free when I just wanted a working fridge in the room since we are road-tripping and have ham. Why would he assume we wanted something free? We are on a 10-day, multi-park trip where we've paid for a lot, my husband and I are both accomplished. Stefan wasn't being rude to anyone else. The assumptions people make sometimes…my god. It is dehumanizing. I told Stefan that he needed to have more empathy if he was working in hospitality. He told me “I don't care: I'm leaving in 3 days to my country” (somewhere in Europe). I told him it that hopefully he wasn't working in hospitality over there, but didn't get to finish because he turned his back on me and walked away. He gave me a free breakfast voucher which I tossed back at his computer and told him to take it with him. I don't want anything for free. My dad had 3 jobs — never asked for any handouts and then this jerk accuses us of wanting something for free. Latinos: spend your $ elsewhere unless you want to be treated as subhuman. I've traveled extensively and have never been this disrespected at a property. Ever.

I ended up at this hotel by accident and The staff Bee was amazing , she was so helpful and kind there are no words to say thank you in that difficult situation. She assisted me with a room, held my luggage till I got the room, she went above and beyond to walk me outside to show me the shuttle bus to the grand canyon and assisted me with the shuttle to Flagstaff to rent a car. I would not have stayed at this hotel despite it having a lot of amenities just because of the cost; however, the prices are similar in the area. I will say the room and things in the room are a bit older, but it very comfortable and clean and you won't have an issue with the rooms -just need some updating . It was a great stay and convenient to getting to the grand canyon and other areas. Food places and store just down the street. Bee the representative at the hotel front desk should be training staff as I didn't get good treatment from another staff member the night before when I arrived. She really was about making guest experience great and her sunny and positive and pleasant disposition was wonderful. I would stay there again because of BEE and the service I received

Amazing place to stay for your honeymoon! We stayed in the Full Suite (jacuzzi tub) room which was more like a small apartment. Great price for a beautiful, spacious room at a hotel with lots of fun activities and yummy restaurants.

Stayed here as a family of 5 with 3 kids (19,22,25) to see the Grand Canyon. Rooms & facilities were fine. Restaurant was comparatively expensive (especially as Tusayan has lots of good restaurants) & service was a little complacent (probably down to being a premium location - there will always be customers).

This hotel was a second choice, we had wanted to stay inside the National Park, but it turned out to be perfect for our family. There was an arcade, a well stocked store, indoor and outdoor pools, and a breakfast buffet (the kind you pay for). It was easy to get around within the hotel. There was a smell in the hallways that I couldn't place but was not very pleasant, but it was easily overlooked. Very close to the Grand Canyon - I went early one morning to run along the Rim Trail, it was super easy. It was my kids' favorite hotel all vacation.

Adequate hotel facilities (bit dated decor and rooms). Rude restaurant staff on the cash desk. Restaurant food fairly good but was vastly overpriced for the quality of food available. No draft beer available to restaurant diners only cans or bottles. Overall a totally underwhelming experience.

Great stay mimicked resort style accommodations. Extremely close to the entrance to the park with everything that you needed. Rooms were great spacious. Hotel staff we're all welcoming, polite, and very helpful. Safe and comfortable would recommend to anyone.

The hotel is a BW Premier but it didn't feel like it .The rooms we had were located outside entrance and they just looked like a Motel 6 .Now when you into the lobby it does look like a Premier .Maybe don't use those rooms outside as a Premier ? The floor in the room was dirty .My kids socks were black 5 minute from checking in Please ask your housekeeping department to clean the floors .Even the bathroom tub was dirty . The bathroom floor was also terribly filthy. After showering our feet were completely black. I have never had such a bad hotel experience with dirty floors.I used the hotel towels to clean the whole floor in the room and i destroyed the towel . Next time if i come back i will book a room inside to see if my stay will be different Meanwhile what save this review is the awesome FD crew .Patrick checked us in and he was amazing .Nice kid . Your manager the day of departure on the 27th of July , i think her name was Rachel, is so good i wanted to steal her so she can work for me at my hotel .She has long hair and dark blond/red .I really want her to work for me !

I stayed here ten years ago and I had a good impression but now something is changed ….. the room is older,not renovated and not cleaned . The housekeeping don't Daily but every three days …..this is terrible in this period (COVID-19 ) and this service must be included with high price of room . The position is very close to the Grand Canyon entrance.Not advised

This place is beautiful and the customer service is incredible. This review is unsolicited and honest. I am here with 18 people on a family road trip and we got lucky when we found out there was availability here. We like the hotel so much we decided to extend our stay one more night. Danielle has been super helpful and informative and kind and accepting. She gave us advice about the canyon and helped us with myriad special needs requests. Some members of our party have special needs and this place has been incredibly kind. The kids loved the pizza at the Squire pub and 5 of us adults ate at the Coronado room snd it was worth it. The ribeyes were great and the Cavatappi pasta was terrific! Everything about the premiere Best Western Grand Canyon Squire Inn is Highly highly highly recommended. Ask Danielle for canyon tips and share a laugh with her or any of her fun co-workers. Thank you so so much!!!

Great hotel! My second time staying here. My only complaint is the $20 breakfast buffett. Maybe fresh eggs (eggs to order) for that price. The information/signs point to a Buffett area that is closed.

This is a nice property very close to the park entrance and convenient to restaurants and stores. It was clean and had a great gym as far as hotel gyms go. The pool is nice and there is a bowling alley, bar, laundry and several on site restaurants. Seven of us stayed here and we had everything we needed for our trip to the Grand Canyon.

This property is a motel, not a hotel. The rooms open externally to the outside. Our room had a water leak under the seat and a broken AC that pumped out blasting heat on 74 degrees. The outdoor pool was nice and the gym was state of the art cut the room left a lot to be desired.

Booked a room through the Best Western App, several months ago. Noticed that Best Western was offering the same room for $45 less a night, a few days before arriving. I called the hotel front desk, and asked for them to price match. The front desk agent was professional, friendly, and eager to help, however, it was explained that she could not alter the rate of my reservation, in any way, due to it being booked through a third party. She offered to upgrade my room, at no cost, to make up for being unable to price match. I agreed, and thanked her. I then told her that I reserved the room through the Best Western App; as a convenient way to book with the hotel chain, online, and was very surprised that I was not directly booking with Best Western. She reiterated that the Best Western App is run by a third party, like Expedia, and that she respectfully suggests I call the hotel directly, in future, so as to avoid involving anyone other than myself and the hotel when booking a room. Advice I will be following, and I suggest that others do the same. Aside from the app fiasco, my stay was enjoyable. It is a well run hotel with excellent staff. My only critique would be to recommend upgrading the breakfast buffet to better reflect the high standards of the rest of the hotel.

After doing some research into this Best Western we requested a room in the newest block 7000 as some of the buildings allow pets and there may be issues with the rooms and as my son has asthma we didn't want to risk it. But the entire complex is quite clean and spacious. There is an outdoor pool open till 10 pm and an indoor open 24hrs!. The hotel is only a couple of minutes' drive to the Grand Canyon. It is worth purchasing the pass online as there is a prepaid queue when entering the park this is a benefit when there are a lot of cars going through.

Lovely room with balcony overlooking the pool area. The room was large with a nice bathroom and the usual fixtures including fridge and safe. We had no housekeeping during our stay which is a disappointment at the prices charged. Pool nice and clean with plenty of towels. Breakfast is not included - it is an OK buffet but nothing special. There is also a la carte but seems hit and miss as to whether it is available. Best Western Grand Bryce Canyon had a much better free breakfast.

The location of this hotel is good, the service is poor. The room was not cleaned at all during our stay, we were told if you need towels you need to call the desk. Our garbage can was overflowing, we had to even call to get toilet paper. I did laundry while there and asked for change at the front desk, was told they don't have change. At time of purchase I was told breakfast was included, upon check in I was told that my reservation was old and that now breakfast was $20 per person. On our last day we went to have breakfast, the restaurant opened at 6:30, they sat us and told us it would be thirty minutes the kitchen staff was not ready to serve yet. Really….

Room was clean and spacious. The check-in was quick and easy and the staff at the front desk were very courteous. Two great pools (indoor and outside)! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who will be visiting the Grand Canyon.

The room is well organized, very clean, and relaxing. The front desk is helpful and offering enjoying coffee. The store of the hotel collects beautiful items. It is one of the smartest choices in this ten-day trips.

Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel property really needs a facelift but it's clean and affordable and the best amenity is the pool area. It was a shame it was closed longer than it needed to be during a weather event but, all in all, we spent a lot of time around the pool area meeting other travelers and had a great time. The food situation in this town is super sketchy and quite horrible to be honest. If you're saying Starbucks and Wendy's are your best options it's a sad day in the universe! The Pub on site had great pizza and wings and great beer on draft! So much so, I hunted down the manager to tell her! My only recommendation besides an update to this decade would be to staff the outdoor bar area. What a missed opportunity to serve beer and pizza poolside!

Stayed here for just one night June 2022. The hotel location is great - The town of Tusayan is not that big. There are dining options close by with in walking distance and some shopping. Close to the entrance to Grand canyon park, need to drive or take shuttle to enter the park. The hotel has decent amenities ( restaurant, a pool, fitness room, bar, plenty of public areas to relax inside and out, and a small bowling alley in the hotel. I did not eat breakfast in the hotel but is a good idea if you want to save time and then go the canyon in the morning. The room I was in was in an older part of the hotel the room was ok, a little dated especially the bath room. ( Please remodel it) The room was about a 7 out of 10. Internet wi- fi was hit or miss. It seems everybody wants the 7000 building because it is newer. I did not stay in this section. I will say the staff at the property is very friendly, very kind and appreciate you as a customer. They are well trained!

I have stayed in hundreds of premier inns, up and down the country. This being our hotel of choice, as you know what you are getting. This one at Saffron Walden is the best we have ever stayed. The rooms were great, and the Beefeater restaurant was also great. Well done to both.

This hotel was way more than my family expected. The hotel itself has great curb appeal. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The amenities are endless, from indoor and outdoor pools, an arcade, a separate breakfast buffet area from a nice restaurant and bar, and on site souvenir shop. The pools are wonderful and big for lots of guests. The restaurant is fantastic; everyone in my family had something different and we all loved our dishes. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location was great; in a small town right outside the park, but only minutes to the park.

Great location! Visited the Grand Canyon in the morning, came back to the room for rest and then headed back to the Grand Canyon for a sunset! Great for the family!!!! Easy to navigate and seeing the elk at night was cool!!!

We only spent one night at this hotel so we didn't get to experience much of the amenities. Upon check in I was disappointed to find out that we had to be downgraded from our reserved jetted tub suite to a junior suite due to a maintenance issue (we asked, it was the AC). While I appreciated not being placed in a room with a maintenance issue, I booked at this hotel specifically because of the jetted tub and the location. The staff was very apologetic and friendly when they informed me, and they gave me breakfast vouchers as well as initiated the process for a partial refund (needed manager approval). The outdoor pool and spa weren't open because they are seasonal (although it was the last weekend in June, I suspect it may have been due to the thunderstorm that day) and the indoor pool and spa were very crowded. We were told the pool is open 24 hours but didn't try to see if it was true. The location was excellent, minutes away from the Grand Canyon and walking distance to the shuttles that can take you there if you don't have a car. I would say the breakfast was average and I'm glad I didn't end up paying for it. I've definitely had better food; the breakfast buffet didn't look that appetizing and we ended up ordering from the menu. Overall I think it would have been a good experience if I hadn't been so disappointed so I tried not to have that affect my rating too much. I think I could have enjoyed my time there if we spent at least two nights but since it was just a stop on a longer road trip I didn't have the opportunity. One more side note about our room, it states in the description for the junior suite that it has a sofa bed but we couldn't figure out how to pull it out (it didn't seem to actually be a sofa bed); we didn't need it so we didn't ask for help with it but I'm sure that would be important for families that need the extra bed.

My husband, our two children, and I stayed at this Best Western Premiere for our first trip to the Grand Canyon. The staff was polite, helpful, and very responsive. Ideally located, the hotel is only a quick drive to the Grand Canyon's park entrance and near gas station, general store, souvenir shops, GC Visitor Center, and eateries. The deluxe room was clean and updated with a spacious refrigerator and even a microwave (as well as other more standard “extras”). The hotel amenities were great, especially the indoor pool and fitness center. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant was tasty and the drinks from the hotel bar (although pricey) were also good. My husband commented on how he thought this was the nicest BW he has stayed in. We just wished they would fix the bowling alley so all lanes would work. We would have spent much more time (and money) there and in the arcade, had we had an opportunity to bowl. (That was one of the “sells” for us on this hotel.) Also, make sure you get a room on the second floor to avoid the sounds of people coming in and out of your building. Totally recommend and will definitely stay there again in the future!

My family and I came for a quick overnight stay to go see the Grand Canyon. We were extremely pleased with this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable. Cozy and spacious. And the beds were very comfortable as well. We did not did not stay for breakfast.

Very happy with the hotel and our room. All amenities were spectacular, especially the pool. It was very quiet, which is definitely a plus after a day's hike. Not far from the park entrance and accessible to guided tours and our helicopter tour.

Went to this Best Western after having a GREAT few days at the Best Western in Zion. This hotel needs a major makeover. The hallways are dark and the carpets in the hallway looks dirty. The carpets in the room also look filthy. And the rooms need an update. The only positive are the staff at the front desk, always very helpful.

We stayed at the best Western in an attempt to be near the Grand Canyon. The hotel staff were super helpful and very about our needs. They answered all of our questions, helped us navigate the town, and in addition the pool hot tub and amenities for our children were terrific.

We stayed for one night while we visited the Grand Canyon. Rooms seemed older, but spacious and clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was hard to find. Breakfast buffet had a good selection and if you are a big breakfast person, the buffet is probably worth it.

This hotel is huge, several different wings/buildings. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the buildings we used. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The gym is huge and has a lot of machines as well as open areas to workout.

Good food, cheerful staff and all of the facilities you expect at at a BW Plus hotel. Hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking very close to the Grand Canyon and to the airfield where we took our helicopter ride.

First of all, I'm a diva. This was one of the nicest biggest hotel rooms I've had the pleasure of booking. Why a four? The attitude of the front desk clerk and the fact I asked for them to freshen my room up and all the did was made the bed. No new towels and didn't remove the trash. Lame.

Went to The Coronado Room, for there version of “ fine dining” Junk food , lousy wine. Would have done better to go to Mc Donald's !!! Also we paid $200 for the pleasure of eating this junk food. Be smart, avoid this place .

This is a lovely hotel, good size room in a separate block from the main hotel. Close to the Grand Canyon and local facilities. Biggest problem with this hotel is the price they charge for breakfast - $20 per person. We don't eat a cook breakfast and therefore this we felt was extremely expensive.

The deadbolt did not work, the door security bar did not engage and the HVAC system did not work resulting in the room being very hot. We slept with the window opened, but there was music coming from outside until early morning hours. We reported these at checkout from our one night stay. I suspect they could had given us a new room, but we arrived exhausted after a long travel and sight seeing day. We did not discover these short comings in the room until we were unpacked and ready to retire for the evening.

I've stayed here on 3 different occasions, once before the pandemic and twice during the pandemic. In 2018, the breakfast buffet was amazing with so many choices and the food was fresh and hot. In 2020 I didn't eat here because it was too crowded, but in 2022 I tried the buffet again and it was TERRIBLE. There wasn't a lot of food, and what was there was mostly cold and hard. I was so disappointed. The rooms in 2018 were very comfortable with soft bedding and cold air conditioning. I'm not sure what was going on in 2020 and 2022, but on both occasions there was an issue with the air conditioning not working. It was 80 degrees when I arrived last weekend and the heat was on in my room and there was no option to cool on the thermostat, only heat. Ironically the same thing happened in 2020. The bedding was very comfortable, but it's hard to sleep when the room feels like 90 degrees. We opened the windows on both occasions, but it took a good 3-4 hours for the room to cool down. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and did their best to make things better.

Rooms quiet, property well maintained, nice to walk around the property at night, the pool was nice too. Quick jaunt into the Grand Canyon, which was our goal. We saw wild horses and elk to/from the Grand Canyon, what a treat.

We had problems from the beginning. We were given a room with a broken air conditioner, a bathtub that filled up to your ankles when you took a shower, the bathroom smelled like mold—I have a mold allergy so I was constantly blowing my nose during our stay and sneezing. Also, the bottom of the bathtub made of fiberglass came unglued to the floor below and made a loud thud when you stepped on it and then it bounced back at you when you stepped off of it. My husband nearly fell while showering because of it. It was a safety hazard. The beds are worn out and sag in the middle. The toilet in the bathroom is small-seems like it is made for a child. We were told by the front desk that there is no housekeeping service. We had to empty our own garbage and get fresh towels from the maid cleaning the rooms of guests who had checked out. Clearly, no regular maintenance was done on our room. My husband talked to the front desk about the air conditioner. They sent a maintenance man that could not fix it. He asked us if we wanted to switch rooms, but we were checking out the next morning so we decided to stick it out for another night. The maintenance man brought us a fan to use. The next morning, my husband talked to the female manager. He asked for a refund. She claimed she could not refund us because we booked the hotel with Expedia and we would have to talk to them. The only thing she offered us was free breakfast. We had already eaten our breakfast so we did not eat the hotel breakfast. The pool and fitness center were nice, but we did not enjoy either since we barely got any sleep. The hallway carpets are old and dirty.

We reserved a Deluxe Suite for 4 nights last December. At a not inconsiderable cost. In Northern Arizona there was no complementary water in the Suite. We were told we had to buy our own water from the gift shop. There was no shampoo. After two nights we requested a housekeeping service. For house keeping, we had to leave a message. When we returned, the room was untouched. On complaining to a senior person on Reception we were told that it was Best Western Corporate Policy not to provide housekeeping services. This is contradicted on their Corporate website where housekeeping is on request. Then the truth was revealed. They do not have sufficient staff to provide even an on request service. Presumably because they are not prepared to the salary to attract the staff. And the decision not to provide any housekeeping service, however long you stay, is not Corporate Policy. It is a decision of the General Manager of this hotel. To save money. Aparently, there is a sign at reception advising no housekeeping service. But we were not told this at the time of check in. And we were not told this in the period between reservation and checking in. I have asked to speak to the General Manager. Not because we cannot make our own beds, but because of the untruths we have been told. I do not expect to receive a telephone call. Certainly, we will not spend one cent in the hotel before we check out on Saturday. It seems staff are instructed to hide the truth from paying customers in a 5 star hotel.

We visited for one night as part of our honeymoon/ Route66 road trip. Went for a drink and meal in the bar but was told they had no draught beer. This would have been fine but the rude attitude of the barman was so shockingly bad that we left and went across the road to another hotel for food and drinks. Breakfast was another disaster. We opted for cereal but was told they had no milk. No milk at all! The waiter suggested we open the tiny cartons of half n half and use that!!! The fact that there is a general store across the road, yet they couldn't send a staff member to get milk is crazy. When checking out, we told the receptionist that the front of house staff had been great but the lack of milk and the disgusting attitude and rudeness of the barman meant we were dissatisfied. She thanked us for our feedback yet still charged for the breakfast and didn't even offer a discount. We do not recommend this place at all and I highly doubt management will be in touch with an apology or refund. Thankfully the rest of our trip has been fantastic

I wasn't expecting a competition for the whole night but I thought that the click would annoys some amount of money off the payment for the room.

Everything looks old, in particular the bathrooms are small and outdated. It all wouldn't be that much of a problem if the price tag was reflecting this. But given the closeness to the Grand Canyon, BW can charge 2-3 times it's worth

Our stay at the Best Western Premier was very disappointing. In fact, there was nothing „Premier“ about it. Run down, tiny rooms, lackluster service and unmotivated staff. The room - despite claims of special cleaning - are not clean. The mattress had way too many lumps. Please note that this is not the staff´s fault - obviously the management is not doing its job. We had fond memories of our last stay and were really sad that we now have other memories of the place.

We stayed 2 nights and were very satisfied with the accommodations. Our room was large and quiet even though we faced onto the parking lot. Room was clean and beds comfortable. The buffet breakfast was disappointing, and not worth $20 per person. We did not use the pool, but it looked inviting.

Not being from the area, we were undecided planning the trip whether we wanted to stay in the Grand Canyon or stay right outside. We decided to stay right outside. The hotel is close to the entrance of the park and also right down the street from the airport for helicopter tours. We definitely saved money by staying here vs inside the park. I think after seeing the properties inside the park, we had more modern rooms with amenities. Without question, if we go back we would definitely stay here again. The rooms were spacious and the staff were exceptional. We ate several mornings at the restaurant in the main building and we were all very happy with our meals. Great prices too. Our kids also enjoyed the indoor pool. Hope to be back someday!

This hotel looks quite new and inside has been freshly decorated but actually it's very tired but remodelled. Unusually for a Best Western, breakfast wasn't included and was expensive, the onsite pub was dark and uninviting and the bowling alley was shut. We didn't eat in the restaurant but had been told that the food was expensive and average. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was spacious, bright and sunlight. However everything in it was old. The sinks didn't drain, the toilet hardly flushed, the heating and air conditioning didn't seem to work and appeared to be operated centrally as the room got boiling hot in the middle of the night even though it was turned off and - 7 outside. The rooms weren't being service due to covid, there was no soap in the bathroom and while the ladies on reception were very helpful and gave us missing toiletries we felt at $400 a night this really wasn't acceptable. That said, the two swimming pools were large and heated and there was an excellent gym.

Good location on the edge of town. Near the airport; heard helicoptors during the day, not at night. We stayed in room 5214 (room above and below us); two queen beds. Across the walkway from the indoor spa and pool. Didn't hear any noises. The room is in the 'main' building with the restaurant and gift/grocery shop, down the hall from reception. Complimentary coffee and water bottle refill in the lobby. Liked that the window could be opened for fresh air; room darkening drapes. Very comfortable (new?) pillow top beds and fluffy (not hard or too flat/thick) pillows. Some noise from upstairs (I wore earplugs and didn't hear anything). The tub is VERY slippery, be sure to put a towel down before getting in. Very large exercise room with equipment and free weights. The outdoor pool and spa were nice and warm. Keurig coffee maker in room. Bowling alley and arcade with bar/snack bar downstairs.

We stayed a night here between South Rim and Sedona. Upon entering our heater was blowing full bore at 69 deg with the same temp outside, but it was like walking into a sauna. Trying to turn on the a/c was a nightmare so we just cracked the windows and hoped it would stay cool overnight because we had to close them to sleep, parking lot is noisy. While walking in we found a sock, mind you it wasn't one of ours and the room had just been supposedly cleaned. They don't have daily housekeeping, FYI. Little dated. Beds ok. Kids loved the pool & hot tub but they were down to 1 alley and a group of 5 takes a lot of time on the lane and it was by reservations only. Food options are limited and expensive. No delivery options. There is no continental (free) breakfast here because they want you to go to their restaurant for breakfast. My son remarked upon walking down the hall that he thought this is what prison might feel like - it was dark, gloomy, cramped, with beige paint. We were in the 2000 building. Not enough for the cost. Somewhat disappointed.

The hotel was in a great location, right outside the Grand Canyon. Our rooms were clean and spacious. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. Our kids were excited to have both indoor and outdoor pool. We had dinner the first night at the pub - food was great and the kids loved the game rooma cross the way.

Stayed two nights at this terrible hotel! It's so bad I'm missing words…! I'm allergic to dust and the room was so dirty that my eyes got red. It needed to be vacuumed - could feel it right away. But housekeeping didn't work the day they said. Our bathroom was leaking when taking a shower - hence floor was soaked! Ceiling was damaged by moisture! Had to call the hotel for different matters and they rarely answers the phone! Restaurant (Coronado steak house) was really ok - and restaurant staff was really nice and service minded! Breakfast restaurant is extremely under capacity and must have been measured wrong when constructing the hotel! We gave up after 30+ min of waiting! To management: please stay a night in room 4101 and let me know if you really think it's worth the price! Take a shower and look at the ceiling! Sleep on the too soft madras. Look out the window and see a concrete wall. The hairdryer was smoking when used… all in all not a USD 350 plus tax experience - please try it… The bellman James did his upmost to service everyone- think the reception should learn from that guy!

The Hotel is great and only less then 5 minutes from the Canyon entrance. Room was great and offeres all the necessities for a few days. Breakfast is not inluded, which we thought was a negative point. As for the pool/hot (we used the indoor), it was extremely full and hot tub was not hot. outdoor one was always full with people in it for hours.

The heater either stayed on full blast and you had to leave the windows open (per the staff) OR have no heat. With an asthmatic child who can't have cold air and an infant who gets cold quickly, this was terrible for our family. They won't clean your room during your stay despite the staff not wearing masks and no social Distancing/selling out rooms so this is about the hotel saving money NOT about Covid. The rooms are quite old. The shower is on a very old soaking tub so it's very hard to get in and out or bathe your children. I twisted my ankle. They take advantage and charge a ton because of the location but this is really a motel. The food is priced more than El Tovar and much lower quality. Also very loud. You can hear the other rooms every time they showe, flush the toilet, Walk, etc Horrible experience. The only positive was the very sweet and pleasant staff..

We stayed in the new 7000 building. Our only regret is that we could only stay one night. Very well kept grounds and room was spotless. Perfect location to visit the park. I have stayed at El Tovar in the past but I now prefer this hotel over El Tovar. Breakfast buffet was good with good selections. Bea at the front desk is a treasure. Highly recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. We stayed in the newer 7000 building and the rooms were modern, large and clean. We did not use the other facilities. The shower in our room whilst modern was non existent in terms of water pressure if you had a hot shower, which is why I rated 3 vs 4. It was fine if you like cold showers. I reported this when we left. They have what I call the COVID scam ie no housekeeping during your stay. It is a scam because masks are not worn, hand sanitizer is hit and miss as to whether there is any in the dispensers and staff entered our room with no masks to fix a maintenance issue. Go figure! Cost savings hotels have decided to adopt. Would have been nice to have breakfast included but there is complimentary coffee in the lobby and a Starbucks a 5 minute drive away.

Great stay right from the beginning with awesome staff. Room was updated, clean and quite. Outdoor pool was excellent and was open and warn even with nighttime lows of 30F. Indoor pool looked great and heard the water was like a bath but never made it there. Super close to park entrance. Had a great time and would stay again no doubt. Buffet breakfast not included but very good. Whole facility class A

We never expected this from a Best Western. The hotel was beautiful. The room was comfortable. The staff was excellent. Would absolutely stay there again. We had dinner in the restaurant. Good food but very pricey. Staff kudos to Bee and Stephanie.

This hotel had a very nice swimming area with hot tubs and outdoor seating. The gym was nicely equipped and well-kept. It had a nice game area for the family including pool tables, arcades, and bowling. The service from most of the staff was definitely subpar and took away from the trip.

Me and my 3 kids booked rooms here before we left to go spread the ashes of my belated husband where he wished it to be done. We ended up having someone else doubled in our hotel stay and in that happening out reservations couldn't be upheldtill the following day so me and my 3 children were forced into spending even more money and later in the night slept in my car waiting for the next timing to be applied till I could have a room available to us to top it I ended up in the hospital later that night and our entire trip was ruined due to the un caring staff and lack of organization that this place has and of course they had no problem charging me for the nights I couldn't go into the building of ocruse! So now I'm charged 900$ and didn't even get to see what the inside of the building even looked like! Wow this is the worst hotel expeirce I've ever had I even called to get it fixed was promised my money back and now a month later I tried to wait and still nothing your service is absolutely in acceptable I will be requesting my money back once more hopefully this time you guys will actually follow through with your word but that's been proven 2 times now that it's in likely how sad that you would force a widow a 2 year old baby and 2 kids to sleep in a car due to your own mess up as far as scheduling goes I hope you figure it out god knows how manyo there people are going through this horrible expeirce like me and my babies had to

The original room we were assigned had a rumpled bed indicating the room had clearly not been cleaned. Throughout our stay the staff was overly nice and helpful. However the air-conditioning was not working in our unit and was never repaired, the solution was too “crack the window “which was as far as the window would open. VERY disappointing.

We were given a room in the lower level of the main building. Big noises of running/ stomping / furniture moving could be heard. We called the front desk 4 times from 10 pm until midnight to complain. First they did absolutely nothing. Then a very rude front desk person called Ophelia told me “this is life” in response to my request to call the upper room guests and ask them to stop making noises. She told me there was no manager on site until next Monday. - this happened on a Thursday. She told us to call the sheriff ourselves - that was her solution. The noises started back up before 6 am the next morning. I think they knew exactly where the noises were coming from and gave us made up excuses. I am still waiting from a call from the manager. If you can help it DONT stay in this hotel.

Poor experience with availability of lounge. We arrived with plenty of time before closing hour listed in hotel brochure but were told the lounge was not taking any more orders due to bartender having to go open restaurant. Breakfast, (though free due to Crown member), was painfully slow and food was lukewarm.

Rooms were very clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Food was good and service was awesome. Amenities were numerous and fun. The hotel was obviously well-managed in every type of detail to a lot of fun activities and services. Close to National Park and town's services.

Stayed here 3 nights. 2 in an extra large room and 1 in a standard room (we stayed 2 on way up to Page and 1 on way back). If you can get a larger room, it is worth it - has an extra sink outside of bathroom and we really loved that for our family. Hotel is clean, double sheeted beds, staff is better than expected. The hotel is dated, but it fits the entire strip of the area - we actually kind of liked it being dated - fit in with everything else. Some sections of the hotel are not connected to the main lobby/pool/gift shop/breakfast and some sections are connected. Note that you might need to walk outside to get to these areas depending on which section of the hotel you are in. Our beds the first 2 nights had good mattresses, and our beds on our return stay for one night in the standard room were not as great. I think some sections are newer than others. You might want to ask to see if you can select the area you are in. Breakfast is a little pricey, but was good food. Ordered off the menu and some of our party ordered the buffet - both were good. Portion sizes were large on menu. Restaurant onsite was too expensive for our family to enjoy. For our stay only one restaurant was open, and the breakfast area was open. Note that there is not a free breakfast. It is a sit down restaurant. There is another restaurant option as well that was not open. Gift shop is nice and has long hours which we appreciated. The prices in gift shop were fair and had good selection of items. The bowling alley was closed and we were disappointed in that. The pools were all open, but they were very busy and we did not use them. The outdoor pool is heated. The laundry facility was small for this size property. There were 4 machines, but only 3 were working. I believe there are an additional 4 machines in another building as well. It meant a wait for a machine though. The staff was great - very friendly. The location is excellent. It is located right outside the park - you are about 2 min away from the Tusayan airport and a short drive into the park (10 min) depending on the time of day you go. The line to get into the GC park is long if you don't go early in the am. Go by 9am at the latest or you will sit for over an hour to get in. Restaurants nearby are lacking and they fill up quickly. We ate at the Mexican restaurant near the hotel and it was very good. Also ate at the pizza and pasta place just down the street and that was good food too.

This hotel was great to stay at during a quick trip to the Grand Canyon. We were minutes away from the park, the hotel has nice amenities such as indoor and outdoor pool, nice gym and nice rooms. Theres not much around the area so it's a real plus to have dining on site at this hotel. Would recommend!

While this hotel is nice and close to the Grand Canyon, I would not choose to come back. It felt as though it needed a deep clean of the carpets and rooms. Plus, the breakfast is not included with the price. For a family of four, it's nice to have it included. And their breakfast was not good.

We came to the Grand Canyon Village as a base for our days in grand national park. I tried multiple times to get a reservation inside the park, however everything was sold out. We were very happy with this hotel it would definitely stay here again.

The inn is very classy and nice. So very close to the Grand Canyon entrance on the south rim. The lower floor has a bowling alley and game room with several video arcade games (like Ms Pac-Man) and a pool table. There is a lounge across from the game room. Our room was large and comfortable. The front desk has the most friendly woman (Bee) working there to welcome you. There is a coffee machine and a water dispenser with a choice of flavors (like peach or lemon). The gift shop has everything you might have forgotten to pack plus nice gifts.

Quick summary: Large resort-style property. Clean, comfortable room with many of the expected BW amenities. HOWEVER, breakfast is not complimentary, but might be, based on your BW status. Easy drive to Grand Canyon. We stayed 2 nights in room 2121. It has two comfy queen beds, and many of the expected amenities at a BW properties: fridge, microwave, good work desk/chair, drawers for your stuff, closet, iron/board. Keurig coffee maker. In-room safe. Due diligence: we could have used additional blankets. This is surprising for me to say because many hotels lately have those too-warm duvet-style blankets. Here, there was a light coverlet and sheets. We like a cool room, but warmer blankets. We didn;t see extra blankets. Tub/shower combo could use another grab bar for tub users. Also: the faucet controls are placed a too high for easy use from the tub, i.e. getting up and down in a wet tub is a litigator's dream. Nice vanity area lets you spread out. Nice toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion. Complimentary wifi and HVAC work well. Lots of TV channels. I'd love a printed guide for the most popular channels (news, sports, PBS, etc.) so that I wouldn't have to scroll through hundreds of channels. Excellent housekeeping. Unlike many BW properties, this one does not offer complimentary breakfast. Our problem is that we were told this (fine - however a hotel wants to manage its business) but we actually DID have free complimentary breakfast passes for the two mornings we were there (we are Diamond level members at BW.). On the first morning, we decided to get moving to see the Grand canyon is early light, and decided to pick up breakfast along the way. We did not look in the welcome envelope of our goodie bag, assuming it was the typical "thank you for being a guest at BW" from the manager. Later that day, we found two morning's worth of breakfast passes. inside the envelope - a lost opportunity for a complimentary breakfast. Another issue about this matter is that breakfast is really good here - excellent omelets, etc. I can recommend it even if you are not staying here. Having had this experience, we might have tried the restaurant for dinner, but the mixed reviews we saw had us decide to go elsewhere in the area for dinner. They just blew the opportunity to encourage us to use the restaurants, which are open breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and will pack a box lunch for you, too. Nice separate pool facility.

Lobby/Main bld. was beautiful. But even though we booked our rooms well in advance, we were put in another bldg with dimly lit creepy hallways and an overflowing dumpster outside the window. Coffee maker didn't work and the heating/ac unit was so loud in both rooms that it woke you every time it kicked on. We paid a premium price directly with the hotel for these 2 rooms and did not book through a discounted 3rd party site, We do not recommend this hotel and our trip across the country for the next 10 days will be spent on properties not run by Best Western moving forward because of our experience here. The room was clean but with the exception of the very nice young lady who checked us in, the other staff was rude when we tried to voice our concerns.

When we traveled here, we were unsure of the weather. It snowed one day, but luckily our hotel had lots of fun activities to keep us busy - bowling, billiard tables, video games, indoor pool and sauna, and we LOVED their gym. Although our trip was as a couple, it would be a great family vacation spot as well.

I stayed at this hotel four years ago and was impressed by the location, quality, convenience, and amenities on-property. Four years later, after a pandemic, the rooms need updating and service is not yet up to the standard I experienced four years ago. I would dine elsewhere until enough guests are dining at the hotel to warrant an improvement in food quality. Also, rooms need updating. The complimentary buffet breakfast we experienced four years ago is currently not available. However, location wise, this is a good option near the Grand Canyon.

Hotel room lacked maintenance and needs serious renovation. the room is not clean. toilet did not work and did not fixed. could not enter our room after a 7 hours hike since door keypad is out of battery and had to wait for somebody physically open the door for us. Front desk Bee is helpful. Housekeepers were helpful

Room was fine and the king bed comfortable. No frills just a basic room. The town had a pitiful food selection and the prices are crazy high. Plan accordingly. Hotel staff at the front desk was pleasant. Based on Yelp reviews we did not try the restaurant at the hotel. Grand Canyon was beautiful.

Loved the hotel. It was really close to the Grand Canyon Park. Liked the room and parking was close. There are a few places to eat at the Hotel a little pricey but think average for the area. I had really great service in the main restaurant. There are a few places close to eat I walked to them not very far. Looks like during the summer can get shuttle service into the park. I will stay again next time.

Location near Grand Canyon was great. Room is overpriced. I still have not seen my points or credit for stay. TV remote did not work. Microwave did not function correctly. However, the staff was great and helped when we forgot our eating utensils. Would probably not stay at this one again ad there is another in Williams nearby.

We stayed here because it was close to the Grand Canyon and had some onsite activities like bowling and arcade. We stayed in the 7000 building because we were told it was the newly upgraded building (2017). We checked in and were told only 4 other people had checked in. The parking lot was empty and only saw 2 other cars the entire time. B at the front desk was super sweet. We originally booked 1 room but asked for 2 joining rooms. When we checked in, one of the rooms had a dying AC return fan and sounded like an airplane was in the room. They switched us to another set of joining rooms but BOTH rooms were worse than before and we had to switch again. After checking 6 other rooms, we finally found 2 rooms across each other that were quiet and acceptable. Our kids went to bowl, only to find out there was only 1 person who ran the lanes and it was his night off. We went back the next day and despite having 6 lanes, it took him 45min to get 1 lane working. He was pretty rude and unhelpful the entire time. When we left, he added an 18% tip to our bill! We made him remove it but was shocked to see a tip added to bowling w/ no service necessary. On the day of checkout, despite only having 4 people in the entire hotel, at 9am two "room service" people came knocking on every door asking if we were still there, despite checkout wasn't till 11am. When we complained how absurd this was, they only responded, their were doing what they were told. Management has really neglected this hotel and hasn't invested any money in maintaining it. While the lobby is current and updated, only 1 of 4 hotel room buildings were upgraded. Bowling ally and arcade as in disarray and need maintenance and updating as well. Kids went in the indoor pool and seemed to enjoy that.

We were very happy with our stay at the Best Western. Clean and comfy beds. Just be aware breakfast is not included as is with most Best Western stays. This is a privately owned hotel. But is very well run.

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel and I would stay return. The location is lovely and the hotel is lovely, clean, a great location and the staff are super helpful. We had snow overnight and woke up to a flat tyre, the petrol station down the road didn't have a working air pump and the recovery vehicle couldn't get to us due to weather etc so after calling and wasting 5 hours waiting for various people to call me back the lovely lady on reception advised me that the service guy would be able to change the tyre for me, which would enable me to be able to continue my holiday and also get to the service station. Made my day so much easier and nothing was too much!

Horribly loud room furnace at all locations. Sounded like a jet taking off the entire time it was running. rouble with water pressure, blowing the circuit, water not very hot or cold, walls so thin you could hear your neighbors entire conversations. These are just some of the issues we had.

BW is the best value for money only 10-15 minute drive to the rim. The rooms are great and the hotel has a really good restaurant perfectly cooked food. The staff can't do enough for you and it has a shop and facilities to entertain kids in the evenings. The rim hotels are over expensive and crowded. We have found this BW is the most comfortable clean and affordable with the best facilities.

This hotel is located in the close vicinity of the Grand Canyon National Park. We stayed there for a couple of nights during the wonderful snowy winter storm. Hotel Lobby has been beautifully decorated with Holiday décor and through out the hotel you find elegant historical photographs of Grand Canyon. It is a great place to stay.

This was one of the nicest Best Western Hotels that I stared. Stayed here for two nights. The location is very close to the Grand Canyon national Park. The drive to the national park was only about 15 minutes.The only down side was that there is no free breakfast at this location.

We stayed overnight at this hotel in December 2021. While you can tell that some of the buildings are older, this property is very well maintained and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast in the on-site restaurant and enjoyed both. We would stay here again.

Decor is old, room and bathroom were not properly cleaned. There were crumbs on the floor near the bed, dirt, dust and hair in the bathroom, grout had not been cleaned. No lights in the parking lot area, so hard to take out dog at night.

This is an older hotel, but it is nice. The amenities are well done and well cared for. The staff (David and Rachel) were awesome! The outdoor pool and hot tub exceeded expectations. We will certainly stay here the next time we visit the Grand Canyon.

We stayed here for one night while visiting the Grand Canyon. Note: I live in close proximity to a different National Park (a very busy one!) and I understand the nature of a tourist town. My review reflects that understanding but still feel compelled to write this honest recap. Hotel itself is fine. Room was very large, clean, updated; and pool/hot tub area is nice. No issues there and would stay again based on the room. Hotel was almost fully booked so seemed busy and hectic in the lobby. We have an electric vehicle and there are only a few chargers (nice to even have some) but they were located very far from our room (hotel complex is quite large) and also didn't work. So that was a bummer to find out but not a big deal b/c it would have just been a bonus and not an expectation. My only true complaint was the Restaurant. Very little food options in town (all were closed except one other choice that looked more like fast food). We saw the prices on the menu @ hotel but were willing to give it a try, thinking it would be a nice experience. Honestly, it was the absolute slowest service and unbelievably expensive for really bad food. I don't know what else to say. My food was not edible and was a $30 salad. It was our most disappointing meal of our entire trip and by far the most expensive. The drinks were so slow to come out too (and bar was not busy, no one was seated at the bar). I'm not being picky; if the meal had been half the price, I still would have thought it was below average but for the menu prices, it was actually one of the worst values and experiences I can recall. Hotel is fine but if I were to return, I would not go to the restaurant for the reasons stated above.

I could not have been more disappointed in this hotel. I wanted to demand my money back, but it was too hard to deal with the staff. I stayed here during off season so there was no issue of being too busy. The showers were freezing, the towels were dirty, the ice machine didn't work. It was so expensive for a very bad experience

I felt like I was not in a hotel. In 3 days no one came to clean the room or bring towels. The front desk attendant was not friendly. The restaurant was average (and I´m generous). The heating system was not good. The wi-fi worked well.

We paid for an upgraded room which was dingy and outdated. I'd hate to see the standard rooms. Half of the restaurants were closed and the staff was incredibly rude and not helpful. It's 15 mini from the Grand Canyon, but that's about the only good thing I can say about this place.

Not clean tub was horrible. Felt as if no one cleaned room in months. Worst stay every. Not a great place it was noisy with a generator going off and on at night my family got no rest. My daughter could not sleep. I wasted my money staying here.

The rooms are adequate, the decor is reminiscent of hotels a couple of decades ago. The hotel is quiet which is great. We could not get breakfast because there were long waits, and could not book dinner either- we were there at a busy weekend but you should be aware that there are issues when the hotel is busy. Similarly while the check in people were nice they did not accommodate our requests. The location is very good- close to the entrance of the park.

We stayed 2 nights here while visiting grand canyon. The bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. No free breakfast was available (had to pay). But there's a starbucks nearby for a quick bite. It was a good place to crash after long hikes in the canyon. Very close to Grand Canyon and good price.

Great hotel at the entrance to the Grand Canyon. Much nicer then the hotels in the park. We rented the master suite (with another lockout room) and it was huge! Great setup for our family with older kids.

Wife and I stayed here last weekend (3 nights) while visiting Grand Canyon. Booked Queen Deluxe which has two queen beds. Room was reasonable clean (though around bed bases it was dusty plus my wife found a pill, glad didn't have grand kids with us). Room was a good size and in main building. HVAC control didn't seem to work and blasted heat no matter how far down we turned it. Choice was completely off or heat. Had a nice soaking tub/shower combo in bath room. Because of tub, I called first thing in the morning and asked for extra towels Friday (our second day). I called housekeeping first but no answer so called front desk. They said would have them delivered along with other supplies. Got everything but main goal, bath towels. When down stairs later on our way out to dinner, asked for bath towels a second time. When returned after dinner, still no towels. Saturday morning asked for 3rd time for bath towels at desk, was told they would have them delivered. We were gone all day and when we returned after dinner still no towels. Wife had to go down stairs for tea and asked for fourth time because she didn't want me to go. I was not happy and was going to bring the old wet towels down and dump on the front desk. Instead I just dump towels, bagged trash, etc. outside our door. Someone finally showed up with the towels but they weren't happy about stuff in the hall. He was smart enough not to say anything. This could have been a very pleasant stay but one shouldn't have to beg for towels. Only thing I could think of is some pin head manager doesn't allow staff to leave supplies at the door like every other hotel we've stayed at and has to give them to guests? I don't know, it was just frustrating to deal with. I get messing up one request, but to take 4 tries over two full days to fill a simple request is inexcusable. Note their is no cleaning service no matter how many days one stays due to Covid. Location of hotel is minutes from north rim park entrance and staff are nice just not real efficient. When ever at desk when another guest was checking out, each had one or more issues with room, smoke, smells, room itself etc. The casual bar/restaurant was closed while we were there. We had dinner the first night in their more formal dinning area and weren't impressed with that either. It was just average with high end prices. The Big E steak house was better and little less expensive. BW Squire Inn appeared to be nicest hotel in town but I don't know if I'd stay there again.

Very noisy. The room smelled of powerful chemicals even with the windows opened for hours (in November). We were told there was only one dinner option and that the replacement breakfast option for early hikers was to go to McDonald's. It took a call and three trips to the frontdesk to do our laudry because mutiple machines were broken without signs and took our money anyway. At that point, we stopped asking for help or indications even if a Grand Canyon visit wasn't exactly intuitive for us. We were going hotel to hotel across the US and this one was by a strong measure the priciest and the worst.

Great place to come back to after a busy day. Hotel amenities were enjoyed by all of us. The pool. The hot tub. The gym. The laundry facility was a plus after a long trip. Comfy beds and breakfast was yummy too. We enjoyed the boxed lunches as well and had a fun picnic lunch during our exploring of the Grand Canyon. Great area with convenient shops and lots of options for dinner.

I came here on a school trip this month and I don't like writing bad reviews but this place was pretty bad. Of course we didn't get to go to the bowling alley or the pool because we were at the Grand Canyon, but here are some of the things that could have definitely been better during our experience. As soon as me and my roommates walked in we could smell cigarette smoke (even though smoking is prohibited) and as we got ready for bed after a long day of traveling, found stains and hair that was not ours in our sheets. We immediately felt uncomfortable and were glad to go get some food. We got to dinner and fixed our plates to find semi-cooked pasta with some other okay food which was expected from a Best Western. On the bright side, the people were nice and cleaned our room when we were out for the day. The only really good thing here was the breakfast in my opinion, but at least we had somewhere to sleep. I'm sure there are plenty of people who had a good stay, but ours was surely not one.

Getting 2 queen beds kind of ruined the entire experience. We spent 2 nights here, They were prepaid, so we were stuck. We arrived shortly after 6 pm to find that there were no more king size beds available. The hotel gave us 2 breakfasts, as compensation. We didn't want breakfast, we wanted what we had reserved and paid for. There was no maid service, but I suppose that might have been a Covid thing.

The BW Squire Inn was an excellent Hotel near Grand Canyon. Especially loved the breakfast buffet and breakfast choices in the restaurant. Hotel Staff was very friendly and very informative. The night shift informed us to be careful driving due to local brush fires and animals on the street.

We always stay at this hotel when we travel to the Grand Canyon. We travel mostly for business. the hotel is clean. They have areas for pets. There are 2 bars/restaurants inside the hotel. I definitely recommend.

Simply out, for the price, you can't beat the amenities, location and staff. We would rebook here in a heartbeat and they have everything you need, including a bowling alley! We only spent one night but could easily spend multiple nights that the hotel.

Nice King room away from the main hotel. Place is clean, quiet and very near the Grand Canyon south entrance. Many restaurants nearby and one on site. Very clean, and very big room. Loved it! We booked a king room and it was "one story" and not in the main hotel area.

Stained chairs and carpet and torn curtains. Poor service when we requested extra towels of housekeeping on the floor. TV guide scrolls too fast, which front desk advised is a common complaint, but no TV guide left in room to assist. We thought this might be an upscale hotel, but it was not. Overall this place is over-priced.

Room was clean and provided all we needed. I love the aroma/scent fragrance of the room it smelled so great Wish I knew what it was so I could get some. Close to the canyon and restaurants as well as the general store. Buck wild hummer tours will pick you up from here as well.

Hotel was convient, carpets need cleaning. Stay away from the in house dinner restaurant, expensive slop and bad service huh Marco?. Go to Plaza Bonita for really good Mexican food The BW breakfast resturant was good.

Booked a jacuzzi suite in June 2021, prepaid/reserved. When we arrived we were given no information about breakfast/food/restaurant/shop hours. Had no idea there was an on-site bowling and game room-found that out while walking around. the room was gross, chairs and many ottoman with multiple questionable crusty stains. The rug was badly in need of a shampoo/cleaning. Very dingy. The air conditioner despite saying 65 degrees only blew hot air-room temp was actually 82. The jacuzzi jets would not work. Day one We called and were told it would be fixed. Not fixed, went to the desk day two and were told maintenance would check it out but we needed to be out of the room. Left for the day, returned and still broken (don't know if they ever even looked at it). We requested what we paid for and we're charged for, a jacuzzi room, but we're told they were all booked and occupied. I asked for a refund for each day down to a regular room/non jacuzzi room snd was told this was not possible! We were still being charged for a jacuzzi suite-despite not having an operable jacuzzi. We were offered a choice of free breakfast for two or $30 compensation. Both were an absolute insult! I'm an icu nurse and this is the first time I've been away from full time icu (covid ) work in 2 years. I desperately needed a peaceful, restful, jacuzzi full vacation!!! This nasty experience with best western squire has ruined our vacation. The hotel does have a public jacuzzi (we need to walk outside to get to). However, we paid extra money (a lot of money!) for a private jacuzzi in our room that we could bathe in our birthday suits while sipping wine and relaxing after a long day at the canyon. This did not occur!! This is NOT the place to stay at! One wonders if they booked us knowingly into a room with a broken jacuzzi and how many more people have also been booked into this room and will be booked here. Thieves! Look into an Airbnb or a much better hotel!! DO NOT STAY HERE!

I think this property would be hit or miss depending on what part of the hotel your room is located. We were in the older part of the hotel and it was clean but really dated. Inexcusably the toilet seat was chipped and paint worn down to the wood. Carpeting looked questionable as well. Old and dark like a 70s motel. I understand the newer part of the hotel is quite nice but they charge the same rate regardless of where of the hotel you stay. Very close to the Grand Canyon national Park gate like most of them hotels in this town. Indoor and outdoor pool were wonderful. Gym is large and well-equipped.

My BFF and I stayed here for two nights. We had a bit of a mixup in our plans and booked this at the last minute. Rachel could not have been more accommodating and got us a lovely, spacious, and clean room two days before our arrival. The location could not be more convenient to the Canyon. We arrived to a roaring fire. There is a lovely pool and hot tub (we did not use). The rooms were impeccably clean and spacious with everything you needed at your fingertips. Nearby restaurant options are average at best and we happily ate at the hotel both nights. David made outstanding Old Fashioneds for us. The Caesar salad was crisp and fresh. The chicken soup with tomato broth was excellent, and the ribeye and shrimp pasta were also very good. I would highly recommend and will stay here again when I return.

Arrived at hotel around 4PM to check in to find a long line of other guests waiting and one hotel member at desk. After patiently waiting 20 minutes for our keys we entered our room to find others guests in our room. This was a very uncomfortable situation. We went back to front desk and was given a different room. Instead of getting the room we paid for, they downgraded us to a room in lower level in a old building. We were not compensated for the huge inconvenience or the downgrade. Very disappointed with our stay.

Nice hotel in a great location near the south entrance to the Grand Canyon. I've not stayed at a hotel with so many amenities in a long time with pool, hot tub, fitness center, restaurants, bowling. We stayed in a junior king suite. it was very comfortable and well apportioned. Check in was easy as was check out. with social distancing guidelines, the in-house restaurants were crowded and there were waits in the morning for breakfast.

Stayed at this resort in the fall of 2020 during the covid 19 pandemic and had a great stay! This property is so nice and extremely well kept up and clean! It was a little expensive but was totally worth it as it was in a great location super close to the Grand Canyon park entrance. Had 2 pools, one indoor and one outdoor so even in the 30 degrees temperature there was a pool to go in. They had an arcade, bowling alley and restaurant as well as gift shop. Breakfast is included and is free in the restaurant. Our room was super nice and clean, had probably the best experience at a best western ever at this property! I would definitely recommend it and plan to stay there again when I go back to the Grand Canyon!

We thought we would get a special stay at this Best Western for a $376 per night!!! Reviews were encouraging, nice pictures.. We arrived late and found this “Mediocre at Best”building 3000 Motel with dim narrow corridors, worn our carpet, outdated rooms and a tiny bathroom from the 70's!! Room was indeed clean but that is what u would get at Motel 6 as well!! In Summary: Highly Over- rated, no working Wi Fi and the resturant is Very pricy for this Very average property…. In our experience, Reviews are simply Not True……

The hotel looked great in the pictures but I found the facility in great need of either a remodel, upgrade or BOTH! They claimed they followed COVID-19 cleaning protocols but I found evidence that that may not have been so!

The location was great. The price was so much. If you are expecting a great hotel experience for $300 a night, don't waste your time here. It is basically an over priced super 8. The on site food was terrible and expensive and is you have an issue, they don't care…

Beautiful place, with great amenities! Staff very helpful and pleasant, all areas super clean, rooms/beds were very comfy, and the food at the restaurants was excellent! Very close to the south rim of the canyon. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel itself was perfectly fine. It was clean. The bed was comfy. The decor was a little out of date. I only gave 4/5 because the fan in the bathroom was broken. The tub in the bathroom was quite large!

We recently took a road trip of the SW and stayed mostly in Best Western hotels. This place was easily the most expensive one we stayed in and didn't even offer a complimentary breakfast, which we really enjoy. It was very well maintained, nice pool, restaurant and bar (none of which we used) and our room was nice. The bathroom was probably the largest one I've ever had! It's the little things though... our remote didn't work and the front desk asked me to bring it to them, no offer to come replace it. It's not like we were right upstairs, we were in another building and it was a bit of a hike. Also, when checking out there was a guest with an issue and the front desk person left a line of guests to go find the manager, which apparently she never did. At least 10 minutes later she came back to an even longer line of unhappy people. If it hadn't been for the guest suggesting she help us first I think we'd still be standing there. For the amount they were charging us I think they could afford more staff. When we return to the Grand Canyon we'll stay in the park but there was nothing available. This place is fairly close to the entrance but not fun trying to find in the dark.

We had quite a drive to get here from Las Vegas and the west rim. Perfect location right outside the park. Market, general store, tours Close by as well as a fine dining restaurant on location. Decent breakfast buffet and the staff for breakfast was very kind and accommodating. The Hotel was clean, nice, and architecturally appropriate to the area. The highlight was Talisen, The gentleman at check-in. From the moment we walked up to the desk he was friendly and accommodating and amazingly helpful. I bet he spent a half hour with us answering all of our questions , giving us maps ,giving us advice and tips and never seemed put out or rushed by our interaction. He alone deserves five stars.

Way over priced for the quality. Some price gouging going on here as it's close to the Grand Canyon. I was really disappointed with the Small old rooms. Dirty carpet, Dirty , tiny, tiny bathrooms. Because of COVID-19 there was no room service. It seemed like the main lobby had been remodeled but hadn't reached our wing of the hotel. If bathroom cleanliness and size matter this isn't the place. One nice thing… the beds and pillows were above average in comfort.

Rooms are old, and plumbing was marginal. I was told I could upgrade my already expensive room for $40 to the "luxury" section, but declined. Restaurant was overpriced and service was slow, and understaffed.

Hotel needs updating and a good cleaning, problem with getting shower to work, coffee maker broken in room, one of our rooms had two mice. Staff didn't seem to care about the rodent situation was alittle helpful in getting our shower to work.

This is the best of Best Western hotels. I have been on a 3 month bucket list vacation across country staying at various BE hotels and this stands out in every category for service, luxury, staff, location, decor, Judy everything. I have stayed at other locations for same or greater price and not come anywhere near to this level of luxury.

Nice people, pretty grounds, well maintained pet friendly room. However, pet friendly rooms appear to be their oldest so the decor, the bed, the pillows are all old, tired and the room has a musty smell. Without a dog the rooms were significantly more modern. Room size is generous. Surprisingly, breakfast is for pay and despite Covid — a buffet (with optional menu ordering and long wait time to be served).

Conveniently located within a very short distance to the Grand Canyon entrance. Large pet friendly rooms, which are more like apartments. Grassy areas right outside the rooms for the pets. This was a wonderful experience and affordably priced. Room service has been modified due to Covid, however they were available to meet any requests.

Spent 2 nights here. Our room was adequate, small but everything worked and was clean. AC was noisy as others have said. We were in building 3000 which was older so should have asked for newer building. We did make a request to housekeeping which was never met. Proximity to Grand Canyon was great. Food in the area is mediocre. Might stay here again but would probably check out other hotels too.

I highly recommend staying here. I traveled alone and after spending the days at the GC this was the perfect place to come back to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and swimming pools. I highly recommend staying here.

Rude desk staff. We travel a lot and stay at hotels often. When I book a room over the phone I use our "safety" card and switch to another for check out. We have never been charged on both cards before. One was charged more than the other. I called to talk to a manager. The manager was not there so I was passed to reservations where I was yelled at and was told that's what they do and to deal with it or call the bank...on a holiday weekend. She said I should take some time to call around to other hotels because they all charge both cards when you change your preferred payment. We have stayed at 5 hotels this year alone, high end and mid range. We've driven/moved cross country three times having to stay at hotels and have always secured one card changed another and have never had that happen. The guy at the desk even asked if we wanted to use the payment on file. I thanked him for asking and gave him the payment we wanted to use. We were charged twice one higher than the other. When you screw up take responsibility and we'd understand. They need to be retrained with the system and to handle customers. I've worked years in customer service on the phone and in person and would not have talked to anyone like that. The way the situation was handled was a big fail. The restaurant was empty but someone came in and they smashed them right next to us. If I were to get up from my chair I would have been in their space. We ordered pre cooked food and waited way too long. The prime rib had no flavor and was reheated. My husband's salad did not have 6oz of meat and our kids macaroni and cheese was over reheated. That was not a $100 meal. The room was somewhat clean. The A/C wasn't cooling and made a rattle noise but it wasn't terrible. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. The pillows go flat to very thin. We asked for a few more pillows and they were very lumpy and hard. The floors were very dirty.

I didn't read any of the reviews before staying here I just liked that it was close to the Grand Canyon. I think it took us 10 minutes to get there (driving). The property is really clean and large. I traveled with my dog. They have plenty of places to walk your dog on the property which is great! The rooms are really dated there was a stain on the carpet of the room I stayed in. I'm assuming that's because it was the pet friendly section but a little off putting to be honest. I'm pretty easily satisfied so I have no complaints everyone was great!

Great location with awesome scenery. Even had a herd of elk walk through the parking lot when we first arrived. The room was excellent and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in at a hotel.

I was nervous about this hotel because the reviews seemed mixed, with some mentions of outdated rooms. But perhaps owing to luck of the draw (we were in the 7000 building if that helps), that was not our experience at all. The room was modern, clean, and super spacious. And the amenities were awesome. It about blew our kids' minds when they saw both an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. And we enjoyed a spare hour in the fun center with some bowling. The hotel has easy access into The National Park and is centrally located in Tusayan (although it is hard not to be centrally located in such a tiny town). The staff was friendly and helpful. Perhaps the highlight for us was seeing elk roam through the hotel grounds at sunset as we enjoyed dinner by the pool.

Hotel was so convenient for going to the Grand Canyon. We stayed in the new section of the hotel which was very nice. The pool is great! Only complaint from my son was the TV's remote control was bad.

Overall prices of everything was very high. We were there for 2 nights as a family of 2, so we had 2 separate rooms. The sink had a crack, AC was constantly running with no auto option in one room. The other room AC was not running. Gift shop didn't have credit card machine so everything was charged to our rooms and for the same reason we were out of returning operations. They didn't say there is an 20% coupon for gift shop and i just happen to ask I never knew and if you find out about the coupon after you shopped is too late and they don't give you discount. We didn't get any room service. I understand they want to be green but we didn't get any new coffee amenities for the next day and there was no drinking water in the room either to make coffee. Other guest we meet during our stay mentioned the refrigerator doesn't even fit inside the cabinet and the cabinet door had to stay open So overall very pricey, I think they should at least include breakfast to the package

Overall a phenomenal best western worth the price, especially considering how close you are to the national parks. Multiple pools/Jacuzzis, super friendly staff, and multiple restaurants. Easy walking distance to the local shops.

My family of five (9, 12, 15 years old) + Golden Retriever dog (quiet and gentle) stayed at this hotel for two nights and were disappointed that it did not live up to its name of being a Best Western Premier. The was the first stop of our road trip that included staying at Best Western Plus's in Bryce, Page, and Zion; and this was the worst of all " four Best Westerns. With the "Premier" name, I thought this would be the best hotel of our road trip. PROS: Welcome bag with two water bottles and snacks given at check-in to BW Rewards members. Beautiful outside landscaping. Convenient location for Grand Canyon visitors. Indoor and outdoor pool. A small family center that closed at 9PM but had enough to entertain the kids until we were kicked out so they could close. CONS: The family center closed too early. 9PM is early considering families go there to play after spending the day at the Grand Canyon. Since I didn't see the other rooms in the hotel, I can only speak for the room we were given, but...The furniture and decor were old and outdated. It felt like we were staying in a motel. There was a clear distinction between the old and new buildings, and I'm guessing the dog friendly rooms are the old ones. But for the price we paid, this room's quality was 3 out of 5. The worst part of the trip happened on our last day when we were woken by a barking dog in a nearby room which lasted for an hour. The front desk was informed at 7am. At checkout (10am), she offered comping breakfast. Kind of late for free breakfast after we're checked out of our room with the dog and kids in the car and ready to drive to our next location. Also at checkout, I asked for an itemized statement and was informed that none was available. She said it would be emailed to me, and it never happened. While on my road trip, I had to find time to call the hotel and speak to a manager to ensure I was charged correctly for the room. (I'd like to mention that the other three Best Westerns we stayed at provided an itemized statement at checkout.) So would we stay at this place again? Maybe, if there is better customer service that includes the comped breakfast we didn't receive, better quality rooms, and a better price. After commenting about the barking dog in Best Western's company review, a social media ambassador reached out to me to offer a 25% discount to stay at this hotel again. The discount isn't worth a second stay. I don't think I'd go again even if the stay were free.

The room was clean but had a really old interior. It is very close to the entrance of Grand Canyon national park. Can recommend if you only need a place to stay at night. We had a no-show for the first night, due to heavy winter conditions at our arrival in mid Novembre. The staff was friendly also.

We booked this trip through Best Western because of a previous very positive and memorable experience. We arrived at 3:00 Pm 7/25/2021 after being in Bryce, Kolob, and Zion Canyons. Being 25 year Arizona residents we only planned a short Grand Canyon tour having been there many times before Arriving at the main entrance our first impression was "are they even open?" The glass front doors were very dirty, there was no signage directing us as to where to go, and it looked as if it might be closed. Arriving at the front desk, we were told that we had not contacted them about an early arrival - which we had done via their web-site earlier that day. We were so disappointed that we immediately wanted to cancel and go elsewhere - the front desk clerk informed us that "we could not cancel because we booked through a travel agent." Which, of course, we did not. The clerk was very curt and said:"I am not taking off my mask." -- we had not asked her to. We were willing to accept the fact that most of the dining venues were either closed or on limited schedules, probably as a needed action to COVID-19's impact (not enough staff, etc.) Overall, this property has the appearance of maintenance neglect. Such as: Wooden trim over the front desk was peeling off, the Lobby was dark and uninviting, there was no luggage assistance and were told that we "might" find luggage carts near the elevators (our room was in another building, #3000.) When we got into our room on the second floor we immediately noted that the room had not been updated: old decor, limited electrical outlets, no extra plugs/wiring for electronics, Wi-Fi, etc. Even the weather stripping on the window screens was peeling off with no apparent attempt to remove or repair! TIRED is the best way to descibe the room and the entire property. When we inquired about Dining Room availability the same front desk clerk's response was: "Make a reservation in the Gift Shop" with no attempt to assist. This used to be a proud property. Today we cannot recommend it to anyone. Please note, these are NOT COVID-19 driven comments - we understand and accept those things The employee at the front desk was definitely not "hospitality-oriented." The overall property does not reflect "Best Western Premium" expected quality. As a final comment, upon departure we spoke with a concerned employee about our experience. The response was: "Write a review to Trip Advisor. That's the only thing that will get management's attention."

check in was awful .... I think her name was Gloria. She did not explain anything to us and did not give me my diamond bag or tell me we had free breakfast. When I complained the other girl apologized for her.... the next morning the other desk clerk that was there gave me the bag.....

Don't go for a standard room like we did. As soon as we checked in and got to our room, we asked for a deluxe room. This hotel has several buildings and I didn't like the building we ended up in with our standard reservation. It was very dark and dingy and there were moths everywhere (we were warned about the moth issue). We decided to ask for a deluxe as that is what the other family in our party went with and it was it a much better, brighter, cleaner feeling room/building. The hotel is in a great location for the general store and entrance to the park. When we weren't hiking/biking we were at the indoor or outdoor pool. the food options were limited..guessing to covid, but we were able to get breakfast in the morning (be patient with service) and pizza at night (good pizza but expensive). I probably would stay here again, but I have my eye on the hotel across the street. My biggest dissapointment was that my family paid $300 more than the family we were with..for the same type of room. I contacted the hotel, but never heard back.

We got caught in a monsoon in the GC. I quickly did a search for hotels and BW had a room that was pet friendly. They also got us an extra cot to sleep in. Unfortunaly the change machine and a few machines where out of order and front desk did not help with any type of change. Overall great place to stay!

Out of all the motels we stayed on our trip of 6000 miles the Best Western Premier at the Grand Canyon was the most pleasant. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone planning a trip to the Canyon

If you are traveling with a pet maybe this is the right place for you. If you expect your assigned room to smell fresh and clean, not so much. If you do stay here and don't have pets best to ask ahead of time if your room is a pet-friendly room before you book your reservation.

We took a family trip to the Grand Canyon. Personable staff, but understaffed. Tried to get replacement coffee pods; didn't arrive until 10:15 pm. Nice amenities, but the rooms did not have adequate air conditioning. My son and grandson had to move to a lesser room with a window air conditioner. Excessively priced for the quality of our accommodations. Over $600 for 2 nights for 1 room.

Everything was very clean it was a nice break from camping getting to use the showers, hot tub, playing in the arcade, all of the staff was friendly and helpful there are plenty options for food around the area including the hotel the beds were so clean and comfortable didn't want to leave them^_^

We were on a family road trip and the Grand Canyon was the last leg of the trip. After reading other reviews, I called and asked if we were on the "new" side and we were. Booked a 2 queen bed, oversized room for me, my hubby, and our 20 yr old. The room was nice and the size was great. Plenty of space. Nice bathrooms. The young man working the front desk at check-in was very nice. He recommended a few places to eat(no great food in the area and it's all expensive). The hotel is about 6 minutes from the Grand Canyon South Rim, which was awesome. I rated it 4 stars, but would think twice about staying again for what may be the weirdest reason ever. The bathroom shower. :( So, the design was weird. There is no door to the shower. You walk into the bathroom and BAM! You're going to see whoever is showering. The bathroom door is right when you walk into the hotel room. It has the "clouded" glass. So you'll be able to see the silhouette of whoever is in the shower. Then the shower water (and soap if you're messy) is going to get all over the bathroom entrance floor no matter what you do(because there is no door). We put a towel down and it was soaking wet after the shower. The ventilation was also pretty bad. After your shower, any and everything you have in the bathroom will be wet/damp. I know that's a weird inconvenience but if we'd stayed longer than the 2 nights, it would have definitely been a nuisance. All in all though, the new side was nice.

My family and I stayed at the best western for 1 night. We had to leave early morning for Vegas but when we arrived in Vegas, we noticed something missing. Unfortunately, my son left his electrical toothbrush (Oral-B) at the hotel. We would've loved to receive the toothbrush so we reached out the hotel. We called front desk and they redirected us to fill out a form before further conversation. After doing so, we also called house keeping more than once. However, with each call, they didn't pick up. So we decided to let time pass and maybe we will find results later on. After 2 days had passed, we heard nothing from the hotel about any of our issues. With that, I would have to give a low rating because of their lack of communication. At the time that I am typing this up, a full week has passed and still no word. My assumption is leading me to think that the toothbrush was either stolen or thrown away.

Breakfast is NOT included as it was in all other Best Western Hotels we stayed in during our trip. Instead, you must pay nearly $20 per person to eat at the hotel. The food was good but definitely not $20 a plate good. The key cards we received wouldn' t open all the doors and after getting locked in the laundry room and calling the front desk(thankfully I had my phone with me) I was told someone would come to help. Nearly 30 minutes later someone brought us new key cards. The bathroom was not clean. There were no handrails to get in and out of the enormous tub. The shower curtain was dirt stained at the bottom. We were happy to LEAVE this place.

Because my travel partner and I were in town to experience the Grand Canyon, we didn't spend too much time on the hotel property, but from what we could tell - it is beautiful. There are two large swimming pools and spas, one each both indoors and out of doors; a restaurant, bar/lounge, and so much more. I wish we could have been there longer to enjoy it all. Generally speaking the hotel is clean and well maintained. It isn't your top of the line, luxury with state-of-the-art amenities, but it is nice and accommodating. My only "complaint" (and really, it isn't really a complaint) is that the room did not come with complementary breakfast as I expected it to. This wasn't really an issue as much as it was a surprised since I sort of thought that was part of the BW brand. Don't be surprised like me!

Website shows new updated rooms in a separate building. The room we were given was disgusting. Asked to be moved charged an additional $60 when already paying over $200. Absolutely not worth staying! Restaurant, bar and game room outdated with a stale smell.

There is no wifi available in the rooms, and our room had a terrible musty odor. The room was actually larger than most hotel rooms, but that doesn't make up for the lack of amenities. The room is not cleaned during your stay, but they will bring towels if requested. of course blaming it on C O V I D. The helicopters fly low over the hotel so that impacted our sleep. Over priced because of the location because they can.

Awesome family hotel. Great outdoor and indoor pools (2). Game room, bowling lanes and lounge on lower level of main building; super fun for families! Main lobby was updated and very nice. Staff was courteous. Some rooms need updated; we had an older update room but still was very clean and nice.

The hotel itself and its grounds were very clean and nice. My interaction with staff was pleasent and nice. I have no complaints on any of the above. My only problem was that we looked and booked our whole trip to include free breakfast. I went to the front desk and asked and was told that they no longer offer the breakfast bu tthat we could buy breakfast. My husband looked up his reservation and the web page and they both still stated free breakfast. You need to update that.

2 days ago We reserved this hotel for two nights for 2 rooms for July 6th and 7th. We checked in about 8:30 pm, the receptionist “Cheyenne” was very rude and unhelpful. It was a hot day with temperature of about 104-122 degree F all day. One of the room had non functioning air conditioning. We called the front desk several times. No one answered. Finally we went to the front desk ourselves and talked to this lady who sent someone. The gentleman came and did something and the ac started working again. However within 10 min it stopped working again. We called the front desk several times and finally it was answered and the lady refused to do anything. She offered $30 discount for staying in a non ac room after we had paid around $970 for our stay. She refused to give me the number for her manager and refused to transfer us to another room. Refused to tell us at what time her manager will be available. This is a pure scam.

We stayed 5 nights, got a free upgrade. Spacious rooms with table, chairs, room to lay out equipment for hikes. Two chest drawers, also large closet. Good bathrooms and showers. Climate control worked well.

AC was not working in our room - should have known that something was wrong when many rooms on our floor had their doors open. We opened the window but someone was smoking weed outside! When we called the front desk, we were offered a fan but not a room change. When the pot smoking was mentioned, both people at the front desk knew who was doing it - employees! and went to address the smoking issue. AC was not repaired that night. A light bulb was also burnt out above the bed and the remote control was missing a battery. The least the hotel could do is offer a refund for a hot, uncomfortable night. Would not recommend this property. Glad we only had to suffer thru one night.

We stayed two nights and it was nice. The front desk was able to upgrade us which was a big plus. Only issue, the a/c could not be set below 65 degrees and in the middle of the night it got too hot & we had to bring in our own fans. Other issue was the shower/tub. Had grab bars but too hard to climb in and get out for a shower and no bath mat for inside the tub, too slippery. Overall, would stay again.

To begin with the location of this resort is perfect as it is only minutes from the entrance to the Grand Canyon and is in walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The common areas like the pool, hot tub, etc were all very nice and we enjoyed them. With respect to the rooms it was a different story. The first building we were placed in was so outdated and had the worst odor. Upon complaining to the front desk we were moved to a newer building and the room was gorgeous. The resort of course charged us an additional $45 a night on top of the original $300+ per night. The breakfast service was good however the dinner options were totally overpriced and underwhelming.

Close and convenient to the Grand Canyon as well as local stores & gas stations. The wildlife in the area was amazing! We saw 2 bull elk lying on the grass in front of the hotel. The pool & hot tub area is super nice and a great way to relax after a day of hiking. I dont think we could have made it to see the sunrise at the canyon if we had stayed any further away.

The hotel is outdated and feels dirty. No attention to details when they cleaned, old stinky carpet, old furnishings. The bed was comfy, it worked for what we needed, sleep. It is in a great location and easy to get to Grand Canyon entrance.

We stayed at this "premier' property this past weekend and even though we'd read the reviews and knew that our options were limited in Tusayan, we were disappointed by the property and staff. The worst offense was the air conditioner in our room was not functioning correctly. At times is was freezing cold and others (during the night when trying to sleep) it was pumping hot air out. We called maintenance and they sent three techs to work on the equipment. They spent 20 minutes working on the unit and indicated that the unit had 'frozen' at some point in time. We thought that they'd therefore fixed the issue but again the 2nd night the hot air came pouring out. We ended up turning it off but that made for a difficult night sleeping experience. Other issues included the dirty, dark & dreary hallways. Yes, the ground floor gets a lot of traffic but cleaning the carpets goes a long way. So does sufficient lighting. We also asked the front desk about some scary looking bees out front when we arrived. We were told that they were beetles and implied that they were harmless. Fortunately, we have a relative that is an entomologist so we sent pictures. Guess what, the 'beetles' are actually wasps and commonly known as tarantula wasps or tarantula hawks and are very 'ferocious if pestered'. The bad information by the front desk could result in someone getting stung. Lastly, we knew from previous reviews that the food service was slow. We were okay with that but we didn't understand why the drinks we ordered took about 20 minutes to arrive. The waiter was very understanding and promised to look into it for us. We were seated very close to the bar and could see and hear the bartender very well. It sounded to us like the bartender was more interested in entertaining the customers sitting at the bar with all his stories than completing the drink orders. Staffing must have been an issue too because we saw him serving food to tables near the bar, too, before we received our drinks. Please note that our waiter came to our rescue and he got the drinks to us pretty quickly when we brought it to his attention. In addition, we were given a discount on our dinner to offset the inconvenience. We appreciate him going above and beyond for us. However, it wouldn't have been necessary if the bartender focused on all his customers. Please understand that our constructive input is meant to help management and staff to know what is important from your customers.

We were greeted by a room with the door left ajar and dirty towels strewn on the floor. Disgusting, particularly during Covid! When we alerted the hotel staff, they were extremely rude and the manager had a lot of attitude. Needless to say we left.

I knew this hotel was not going to be “premier” when I booked based on reviews and pictures. You are not exactly glutton for choice for great lodging options around the Grand Canyon. This was actually cheaper, and better reviewed, than some of the other options, so I booked anyway. It bears repeating...this property is NOT premier and should not be labeled as such. The lobby, restaurant, and room were dated. The room had some décor and fixtures that looked like throwbacks to the 70s or 80s. The bathtub fixtures were so old I had to call the front desk so they could tell me how to turn the showerhead on. The toilet does not have a strong flush. The restaurant is expensive with very mediocre food. The cost to stay here was very overpriced, although similar to other lodging options around the Grand Canyon. With this being said, the hotel was clean and perfectly adequate for a place to sleep. The most positive thing was the staff. Everyone who I dealt with, from the front desk to our waitress Haley, was pleasant. There was an issue with something in the room not working and they sent someone immediately to fix it. Overall, an expensive stay in a dated (although clean) hotel. With the premier label, and prices they are charging, the hotel needs to be completely renovated.

Young man who checked us in was great. BUT Our air conditioner started smoking and smelling and giving off heat. After maintenance checked it out, he said it would be ok and that the front desk would call us to switch rooms. They never did. The smell in the room was nasty. We kept the windows open to air out. Air conditioner never shut off. It just let off heat instead of shutting off once it was cool. No one slept. Luckily, we were there for one night. They did not compensate for the room-said the manager wasn't on duty. Said manager would call. Never did. We reached out to them again. Oh-we had an a extra charge on the room that should not have been there.

Based on the pictures of the pool/common area and the "Premier" status of this hotel we were excited to stay here. However, the building and room we were given were majorly outdated. The halls of our building smelled like smoke from the 80's. Our room was also outdated. We had to call down to the front desk (which took awhile because there are no room phones) to figure out how to turn our shower on. Once I got through, the staff was quick to respond and he admitted that the weird tub spout pull knob was outdated (I've never seen one like that in my life). I get that it is hard to control, but there were dead moths every where in the hallway outside of our room. That being said, the pool area is very updated and great. There were two male elk that walked the property each night, which was very cool. The hotel is a very short drive to the Grand Canyon Village. Overall the whole stay was okay at best. I'm giving it a harsher review because Best Western has labelled this a "Premier" property. If they label it like that, the rooms should at least look like they have been update in the 21st century. We had just stayed in a Best Western Plus by Zion NP (which was awesome!), so we were let down by the "Premier" claim.

We found out there are 3 different parts of this hotel. 1. old building not renovated 2. older building renovated 3. newer building. We stayed in the newer building and it was good although the fridge was not working initially as it was old. The toilet would also not flush properly. However the maintenance staff were good and prompt. It is close to Grand canyon but there still could be lines to get in at various busy times. If you want to avoid that there are hotels in the Grand canyon but you have to book months in advance. There are several restaurants in the area. Night stars at the Grand canyon were amazing.

After seeing the pictures on line, we decided this would be a good choice for our visit to the Grand Canyon. Well, dont judge a book by its cover. This place is rundown and old. The pictures are not what you get. In fact, the rooms are spread out in multiple buildings and some of them are from the 70's and smell like it. The amenities advertised are not available and the hotel still blames Covid instead of a lack of management here. There is no excuse for not providing sufficient towels and or simple soap, especially for the high end price here. We felt ripped off and the bugs in the room were disgusting laying larvae eggs all over the room we felt unsafe here. Our children had moth guts all over them from our room! We tried to change rooms to no avail. We could not get soap or towels. The kids were so excited about the arcade until we walked in and saw the ancient games available. Bowling was pricey especially for the chipped up balls we had to use. We should have trusted the reviews and gone elsewhere. Wound up checking out early and moving on rather than have our children sleeping in bug eggs with moths flying under our door whenever the lights were on, This place needs a huge cleansing and some new furniture! Gross for a Best Western Premier!

The hotel is in a great location- on the main road and only a few minutes from the entrance to the Grand Canyon. The common areas of the hotel are in excellent condition. But the room is definitely showing signs of wear. There's a definite musty smell in the hallway and the room. The hotel staff was very friendly and professional.

I have never had such a poor experience at a motel. Staff would not clean the dead moths and moth guts from our room. I asked and called 6 times. I saw a 4 other guests having other issues with their room.

Booked two rooms for the weekend family event. Rooms were not like the pictures. In fact, our room was worn out and had a foul odor along with a moth farm due to no door sealer. we were told the 3000 building was one of two new buildings. If this is true, they were new in 1970. Shower was hard to work and Wi-Fi was non existent. Amenities were lacking and blamed on Covid not alack of staffing. Staff was frustrated and angry too. Asked for a newer room but told they had no one to clean it. Did not looked like our room had been cleaned either. Would not stay here again and can not understand how Best Western can call this a Premier Hotel. Arcade was old so were the games inside. Bowling was horrible. The balls were all chipped up and my husband could not find a ball to fit his fingers. Stay anywhere else in Tusayan! BEWARE......................................Ripoff..........................

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's in a great location (close to The Grand Canyon and shops/restaurants). Our room was very spacious, clean, and had a lot of “extras” that I didn't even know was available (lots of outlets, extra vanity and sink separate from the bathroom). We had already stayed in Sedona a couple of days, then glamping, and this was our final destination. We were tired, had a long gap between checking out from the previous location and this one, and they were awesome about letting us check in much earlier than I expected. We were also greeted with unexpected visitors when we came back at night and morning. I would absolutely stay here again.

I chose this hotel because we had out puppy with us. For the cost per night I was very disappointed in the quality of the room. We were warned about a problem with moths if you left your door open long; the problem was no weather stripping at the base of the door so there was a 1 inch gap the moths came through. We used towels to block the gap but when out of the room the moths got in so we had to spend time clearing them out every time we left and came back in. The room also smelled musty and the wall A/C needs cleaning.

Carpet dirty, moths flying in room ( advised this is moth season), toilet plugged, outdated room decor, frig not working, friendly staff, great location. First and last time at Best Western. Close to Grand Canyon.

This place surprised me. It was nicer than many of the Hilton's we've stayed at. It was a resort style hotel; beautiful spacious rooms, very clean, and safe with a peaceful laid back feel. They have two pools one indoor and one outdoor and two hot tubs, one indoor and one outdoor (open 24/7 with no lifeguard on duty). The pools and the hot tubs are clean and well maintained. There was a safe in each of our rooms. Free on site parking and guest laundry. They also have on site bowling, and I think an arcade. For my mom who's an amputee, she enjoyed the bathroom and shower because it was a VERY nice accessible shower with a built in shower chair that wasn't hard to get into. Out of all the places we have stayed during our vacations (including well known 5 star resorts) this is easily one of my favorites (in the top five for sure). We will be returning.

How nice this place is cannot be overstated. The staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were amazing, the amenities were great and it was an overall wonderful hotel experience. The pools, the bars, the bowling alley, the arcade and the restaurants make this place so fun you almost don't even want to leave to go see the Grand Canyon. I would not recommend staying anywhere else on a trip to see the canyon. This is the spot hands down. Staying anywhere else would be a mistake.

We had several issues and called the front desk hoping that they would resolve the issues. No one came to fix or diagnose the problem until I went to the front counter and found out that there was NO management on premises until midnight. Stay away from this place.

Hotel is located very conveniently minutes away from Grand Canyon park . That's the only good perk about this hotel . First , super expensive for what we got . Rooms are outdated , everything looked liked it was falling apart in the room . Door handle , shower head , faucet, ... It was cleaned either ... we weren't comfortable waking around or touching things .

It was fine. Not great. Bed was comfortable. Sofa and carpet were stained. Felt kind of uncomfortable with the level of cleanliness. Plastic cold cups and paper coffee cups (as with all Best Westerns). NOTE: As of May 2021, housekeeping does NOT clean your room during your stay. You can call the front desk and tell them what you need (towels ,Keurig coffee cups, etc.., and then they get it wrong. After multiple tries they still get it wrong). Sigh. Restaurant food was expensive but surprisingly good.

Dirty carpet, tile. Old furnishings. If you stay here don't take off your shoes. You pay for the proximity to the Grand Canyon south rim. They charge a premium for their in-facility restaurant breakfast. I've never stayed at a Best Western that doesn't offer some sort of complimentary continental breakfast with beverages (tea/coffee).

One particular staff at check-in was very rude and unprofessional. She just did not cooperate. I asked her to let me see the room but she flatly refused. I have some health issues and on advising her of the same she was unaffected and made me wait at the reception for over an hour and still did not allow me to see the room. She instead told me to find another hotel.

We decided to stay here during our visit to the Grand Canyon. I cannot say enough about this hotel. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the lounge in the evenings. The couple that worked the bar both nights were super friendly and great conversationalist. Another highlight was the hot tubs. It's hard to find a place where the jets were strong and these did not disappoint. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place with amazing customer service experience. Thoughtful and caring front desk. Absolutely gorgeous room. And really close to Grand Canyon. I really enjoyed my time here and gonna recommend all my friends!

The hotel on the outside was nice. The outside pool area was clean and nice as well. The inside of the hotel seemed older. The bathtub/shower was challenging to get in and out of. The shower was hard to turn on and in the morning it wouldn't turn on at all.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Barely one step up from camping. Stayed here with 1 dog so they give you a disgusting, moldy room and charge you more for it. We didn't find out until we checked in that they are not cleaning the rooms due to Covid. News flash, even the CDC says it's safe to be inside now if you are fully vaccinated so get your staff vaccinated and resume normal operations or don't charge people full price for less than full service. Towel rack in the bathroom was hanging by a thread. There were stains all over the walls. It stinks. Do not stay here. Save your money and just go camping.

I will never stay in another best western of any kind after this experience. They are charging luxury hotel prices for bargain hotel accommodations and services. It was the off season, I guess, but the hotel was severely understaffed, most of their amenities were closed. No one should pay their prices; we've stayed in far nicer rooms close to other popular attractions for one third the cost. Avoid this place.

No maid service because of “COVID”. You have to beg for towels. They said put the towels and garbage outside the room. They took the towels and garbage but didn't leave towels or liners for the garbage. No concierge because of COVID. The breakfast restaurant is poorly run, so we didn't try the overpriced dinner restaurant. It would be poor quality for $90 and we are paying over $300. They don't answer if you call the desk.

We stayed here two nights, and were pleased with the spacious and clean room, the friendly staff, and the close proximity to the park entrance. The breakfast was also very good, and the pool area was pleasant.

Dingy musty dated room, window would not lock- we had to rig up our own security. Doors on lower levels remain open all the time so it got cold and was decidedly not secure. WiFi is not high speed and would not connect most of the time- log in lasts 23 hours if at all, when we complained we could only get 1 device connected for 23 hours they said it was for security reasons lol. They decided to change my king bed room reservation for 2 queens on their own without asking so we could be close to our friends. We reserved a king, wanted a king, and did not get it. On the plus side, restaurant is probably the best in town. Food is terrible in other places, but quite tasty at the Coronado with an excellent wine list and stocked bar.

Overpriced, dated decor, room not clean, restaurant food poor. Forced to pay more for pet room and then charged additional daily fee. (I had reserved 4 rooms for group). Room without internet access (signal too weak) so had to bring pet and work to lobby to work on business late in the evening and early morning in order to accommodate my family's activities. Stayed at a hotel for over 180 nights this past year, this was one of the most disappointing stays. Not a good value. On positive note, the front staff was very professional and friendly.

We enjoyed the location, room, ambiance, gym and the staff. I believe this hotel has about 300 rooms. A lot to maintain. We stayed in the main building with quick access to the restaurant and the coffee in the lobby. The bulk of the rooms are located in separate buildings. We were upgraded to a larger room. It was clean. However, they indicated that there will be no room service during our three day stay because of the virus. I personally feel that at this stage it is just a ploy to save money. Our heating system did not work well on a cold day. However, we were able to use the bathroom heater to supplement the overall heat in the room. The area around the bathroom tub should have bars to hang onto when exiting the tub. It is slippery. Breakfast was good. However, I did complain about only one piece of toast being provided with two eggs. I have never encountered that cheapness anywhere else. They stated that they would look into the matter. The gym and the pool are well maintained. Even with these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay because of the Grand Canyon. And the staff including Gloria, Veronica, Amber, and others did a great job of making us comfortable! We paid about $250 a night due to the tight supply of rooms in the Grand Canyon area.

The rooms were spacious and clean but not exceptional with outdated furniture. This was the most expensive room we rented on our 11 day vacation and it was not the nicest. Most Best Westerns at least provide breakfast but this one didn't. The breakfast at the restaurant was very good , wait staff excellent, and prices reasonable. This was also the only hotel that had to be paid in advance. I can understand leaving a credit card number to hold the room, but the rooms were already charged to my credit card a couple of months before we went. If we had had to cancel I hope we would have gotten credit back on my card in a timely manner. I guess you are paying for location.

The hotel was a good combination of classy and family friendly. I felt that couples and families would feel accommodated. The arcade and bowling room was well maintained and clean. The water feature provided great noise privacy in the hallways. You cannot hear others in their rooms and yet you do not hear the water feature from your rooms. Everything was clean. The indoor pool was amazing. The light music and large size made it comfortable for individuals, couples, and kids to enjoy at their own pace.

After a not very good Best Western in Bryce Canyon City, we were fearful about this one. But, I'd say that the room was the nicest of a two-week trip (and ⅓ of the price of The Cliffrose in Springdale UT.) We had what I think they call a day-suite. Ours was one big, open room. Our friends had the same room designation, but had two rooms. Pros and cons both ways. Huge bathroom with separate shower and toilet. Separate sink and make-up table in alcove. Simply, very comfortable. Very friendly, nice staff - thanks Kaitlyn. We'd go back. But we'd have our fingers crossed. The problems with the room(s) actually got to be funny. The first room seemed a little warm; so, as we unpacked numerous bags, I adjusted the a/c. Still warm. Move temp all the way down. Still hot air. Call Front Desk. Irritating comments: Have you lowered the temp? Are you using the right thermostat? Finally, a maintenance man is sent. Oh, this is the room that was written up 3 days ago as having defective a/c. Repack. Move to a different room. Check a/c = ok. As we unpack, again. Notice room is dark. Missing lamps by one bedside and on desk. Call; go to Front Desk, get key to first room, and steal 2 lamps. OK, now let's relax. But having trouble finding light switches for bathroom. Finally find, but shower light does not work. So call Front Desk and another maintenance man shows up. Oh, this happens because the GFI in the kitchenette area, where the coffee maker plugs in, pops, and deadens the shower light. Huh? But he resets the GFI, and the light works. Now we know! Things are good, until we place our toiletries in bathroom, and discover that there are no soaps, lotions, etc. Another call to the Front Desk. Many quickly delivered. The next day, upon return from tour, we find that the little refrigerator has pooped out (although quickly fixed - somehow; I had quit following things). Use this hotel but check things out - carefully - before unpacking.

This hotel is close to the park, but very over priced for what we got. We were told when we got there for a 3 night stay, that our rooms would not be cleaned and restocked because of Covid and yet, the hotel staff had no problem coming in to fix the AC after several hours of waiting in a warm room and having to have the toilet unclogged twice. Also, the shower on/off pulled so hard that my wife couldn't turn it on. Also, the gift shoppe closed earlier than posted hours, probably because there weren't that many guests.

Floor, chairs were filthy. Dirty socks left on floor and dirty rag left by housekeeping. Curtains stained and ripped - all for $335! Still no response to talk to manager. Will contact corporate office.

The location is ideal, and they have a nice pool and hot tub. It was clean so that was good. The rooms need some updating and better sound proofing. I did not think the rooms were up to standard for the hotel and cost. Having said that they were OK, and certainly the location was very good. Rooms were clean as well

This hotel is a one stop shop! It has everything you need right there! It was very clean and had a beautiful indoor/outdoor pool area. The restaurants had really good food and service and the staff were great! Would highly recommend and would stay here without hesitation in the future!

The Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire Inn is amazing! It is a beautiful hotel that worked great for a family with an indoor and outdoor pool, bowling alley and arcade. The breakfast was reasonable and good quality. This hotel would work well for family, friends, or business/conferences. We would definitely stay here again!

On my next trip to Grand Canyon this would be my overnight stay, and will not forget my swimming gear to enjoy the indoor pool to the fullest. The only problem we encounter was not finding anything to drink in their self -serve machines

Despite the "strong" connection to the access point, we were not able to get IP address and connect to the internet during our stay. Even after calling their tech support multiple times, and saving the device mac address for the length of our stay, we still get disconnected from the access point. Front desk only offer an apology.

We expected a Best Western Premier up to Best Western standards. This hotel is overpriced, old and dated. There were newer sections but still dated. After moving our room once due to odors, we requested to be in the main building. Not much better with stained carpets and dated furniture. Keurig was a penicillin test in progress, so we decided not to try this. Other amenities included arcade which was also old and worn. The games were historic and the bowling was beaten up badly from the balls to the lanes. Gift shop lacked stock whether refreshments or gifts and had limited hours. Outside of the lobby area, this hotel was old, dirty and dated, especially for a Best Western Premier. Based on the food reviews and what appeared to be a lack of staffing, we opted to dine elsewhere. After one night, we opted to check out and seek other accommodations.

My wife got locked in the bathroom the door handle was broken.Then they moved us to a different room that stunk like cigarette smoke. They offered no breakfast services even though it was advertised. I recommend staying anywhere else.

Far from what we are used to at Best Western, especially for a Premier. Rooms were different depending on the building you were in. Our first room was old and musty so we changed. Second room was not musty but just as dated. Both rooms had stained sheets and dirty bathrooms. We had read there was an arcade here and there was., however, it too was old, dirty and a lot of chipped bowling balls and old arcade games. Far from new or even fun except for the foosball table! NO free breakfast here and Canyon Room was like something from the seventies. Service was horrible, rude and the food cold! Location is close to the Canyon however, family opted to go to Williams and take the train into the Canyon. Time for an update here Best Western!

We stayed here for a Grand Canyon trip at the end of March 2021. Their pools were really nice, although the outdoor pool was too cold to go in (we were told at check-in that it was heated, it was definitely not). The pool was also open 24/7, which was very nice since we tend to go swimming really early and had the pool and spa to ourselves for quite a while. We didn't eat on-site, though it was open and appeared to be busy in the morning. The beds were quite comfortable and we all slept well. Check-in and check-out were flawless and the room itself was nice. If we ever go to the Grand Canyon again we would definitely stay here again.

After reading some of the reviews here, I was a little concerned about staying at this hotel...but there aren't that many options this close to the Grand Canyon. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised! We had a room in the 7000 building and our room was updated and very nice - bright and clean. We didn't use the outside pool but the area looked good as well. We felt comfortable with their Covid precautions and everyone we encountered was wearing a mask. I had also read some negative reviews about the breakfast restaurant but we had no issues at all - no wait and fast, friendly service - and the food was fine. I would stay here again - you can be at the park entrance in minutes and the staff and property were great.

The rooms are dated but clean. The restaurant was very good. Very close to the Grand Canyon south entrance. We were able to use the pool area. This made the higher price worth it. The pool was cold but nice. We just loved the fitness center and pool area. It must be recently renovated. I would stay there again.

The hotel front desk had everything prepared when we arrived checking in took less than 5 minutes, super nice amenities, Breakfast, Fitness center & two hot-tubs. We had hiked for three days in The Grand canyon and the pool and hot-tub were Awesome

Hotel is located just few mins from the park visitor's center. Walking distance from stores and restaurants. Hotel rooms are very maintained, clean and nicely decorated. Staff is super friendly, plenty of free parking. We will stay here again.

We stayed for 1 night at the Best Western Premier in Tusayan. We chose the hotel primarily on the location - its a short drive right into Grand Canyon National Park. We arrived in the evening around 8pm after driving in from Las Vegas. We were booked in the newer building, which is on the north side of the property, and it was fine for a family of 4. Kids went to the game room, which was an added bonus. The quarter changer wasn't working and the bartender was out of change, but we came up with some quarters and they had a couple of games of foosball. Bathroom was quite large compared to similar type properties. Room was comfortable, and has a desk and refrigerator. We were out the door by 8am the next day, and inside the park in less than 10 minutes. This hotel is a great option for visiting Grand Canyon National Park.

Our stay was great, only issues were that the Tv remote didn't work, and the toilets took a while to fill up after flushing. Breakfast was very good, though not complementary, it was cheap though. The lobby was gorgeous and the location is perfect, less than 5 minutes drive to the Grand Canyon visitor's entrance.

Staff was rude overall, many areas were closed due to “understaffing”, would expect better the week of spring break and being one of only a few hotels right outside the Grand Canyon. Would like to see what this hotel would be like with all the amenities they advertise to be open.

Just stayed for two nights on our Spring Break trip to the Grand Canyon. Knowing that the town has a captive audience and the hotel is older it exceeded my expectations. It's just the perfect distance from the National Park and a great spot for families. Over our 48 hour stay we made 4 trips to the GC because you are so close you can easily see what the line to enter the park looks like. We never waited more than 4-5 cars, whereas there are times of day visitors wait hours! Covid likely affects the restaurant offerings but we had breakfast two mornings in a row and it was great, though busy. Kids were very happy. We had lunch and dinner elsewhere just to change things up. The indoor pool was heated enough for my boys to have a great time after hiking the park, though for my taste it's not warm enough (from Houston). There is an arcade and bar in the lower level. Only disappointment was that the bar is in the basement and doesn't have a view. In warmer months they likely serve drinks near the outdoor pool which would be great. The room itself was small and in older shape but it's clean and comfortable. In my mind you're not going to the Grand Canyon for the experience of the hotel. You need an easy in-and-out spot and it fits the bill. I wish I had his name but huge Thanks and Recognition to the GM (?) for scraping snow and ice off windows the morning after a snowfall. From Houston I certainly don't carry the proper tools to deal with that so it was hugely beneficial.

This hotel was very clean and the pool/hot tub area was very nice. The rooms were large enough for my family if 4 and the beds were very comfortable! The only downside was the air conditioner isn't turned on until summer so it was very hot in our room. The temperature outside was 80 and the front desk told me it was too cold to turn the A/C units on until May.

Best place to stay in Tusayan. The rooms were huge, the hotel buildings are well separated but not too far from each other and the staff was very friendly and helpful. A very short drive to the south rim.

This hotel is only in business because of its location. The service was awful throughout the hotel. Rooms weren't available at the guaranteed check in time and we were told they'd be clean in 15 minutes. After 20 min we checked back at the desk and they said at least another 30 min. We asked for them to call us when the room was available so we could take our kids into the park while waiting. They never called. At breakfast we sat for over 10 minutes before a server acknowledged us, then waited 10 minutes for her to bring our drinks. Overall horrible experience, will never stay there again.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only issues we had were, the lady at the restaurant was relatively rude. She told us that reservations only till 6:30 and we only saw two people eating just before 6. We left and went to a different restaurant. We had two rooms for two night, one room the heat wouldn't turn off. Front desk was told twice and nothing.

Over $500 per night for what feels like a motel. Walks are thin so you can hear your neighbors talking. Fire pits are directly outside of guest rooms so if you get a group at one, it's very loud. Bar and restaurant closed - website said open but was not the case. No place in the hotel to eat lunch. Fire pits were nice if you could find room at one. Small rooms but beds are comfortable. Pool is small but nice. Shuttle into town was very convenient.

Stayed on a Saturday night with family. Location is Premier but hotel is musty and run down. We stayed in the 7000 Building and listened to the broken HVAC system all night. Room was dirty with hair in bathroom and old food near the bedding! Wish we we offered another room? Asked for a manager the next day and were told "good luck" by the front desk? Hot tub was unusable it smelled so bad! After smelling the brown water in the hot tub, we opted not to use the pool. n Bowling alley is old and no adults could find a ball to use. The equipment is as old as the hotel and over priced. The food was disgusting along with the service for breakfast. We didn't dare attempt the fine dining here at all! There are far better options elsewhere. Hotel needs a lot of updating and a visible management company to keep Premier status here.

The best Best Western I have stayed at in all my travels. It was so great and room was spacious. Awesome place to the south entry to Grand Canyon. The breakfast was tasty and portions were great. The bowing alley was a nice feature from a long day of hiking.

Pro's: Location Pub bartender David- he was amazing and hustling his butt off. People were not bring nice to him abt the wait yet he was left down there solo. Give this man a raise- only employee I saw at this hotel really working hard to please the customers! Overall Pub- fun atmosphere, good music, decent prices good and drinks Check in- fast, easy BUT switched our room last min. We requested 7000s bldg with Kaitlyn over phone and she told us it was setup- I specifically asked for a renovated room. Girl at front desk said my room (King deluxe) was not avail in 7000s bldg. Asked about hot tubs and she said they were all open 24/7. Lunch "box"- highlight of our day! Great sandwiches, fruit, chips, granola bars, water. Not everything was included as advertised but it was still tasty (charged full price even though not everything was included...) Con's: Outdoor hot tub- didn't work, felt like bath water. Worker came out and poured a cup of bleach in while we were there. We asked if he could fix hot tub and he said he would flip the breaker but never came back and it never worked Indoor hot tub- smelled like urine and was a weird murky green/brown color Went to alert front desk that hot tub was down and indoor very dirty- front desk said outdoor was turned off due to weather.... But no mention of that at check-in. While at front desk, notice flavored water and wanted to try but it also did not work... Seeing a trend. Nice things but none of them work... Room- big tub, bed was ok, AC kicked on but was never blew cold air. I gave up at this point, especially after they recommended opening a window and turning off AC for a while (which we did, didn't work). Reported it at checkout and they didn't seem concerned at all. Overall big letdown for this price point. I was leery about paying this much for a Best Western and I should have listened to my gut. I am failing to understand what makes this Best Western "Premier"? Is it just the location because it is not the hotel. Also- heads up that all vending machines are cash only... Very odd since we are in a pandemic still and everyone is using cards. Last note... 3 restaurants/bars and no room service?

We stayed just 2 nights. Comfy room and bed. Got up early Saturday to see the Grand Canyon and then came back to enjoy a nearly empty, indoor pool. We also checked out the arcade (which isn't much but kept my 5 year old entertained for about 30 min). Bowling is available too but I felt it was a bit pricey. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant there and, despite many negative reviews, it wasn't awful. The kids meals are pricey. Our salads were doused in dressing. But our meals were good. Dessert was good too. Overall, we'd definitely stay there again to beat the Saturday morning rush to the canyon.

We traveled with our three kids and grandma to the Grand Canyon and booked this hotel because of the family-friendly environment/arcade/bowling alley. Here are the pros and cons we experienced: PROS: 1. Nice hotel room, more than enough space. 2. Great location 3. Other reviews noted spotty wifi, but ours was great the entire time. CONS: 1. Bowling alley and arcade only open 5-9PM and fill up quickly so we were never able to actually go bowling 2. Despite signage in room indicating lunch is available at the restaurant - it is not. Thankfully the hotel is walking distance to area restaurants. Breakfast was also a hot mess. Wait times of 45 min to be seated - and then another 30-45 min to even be helped. 3. Slowest check-in and check-out process in the whole world. Only 1 person working the desk for a line that was up to 10+ people deep at times. 4. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Our room was right by the door so we heard everytime someone entered the building. Overall a pretty crappy experience and would not stay at this hotel again. We paid extra for the family-friendly amenities that we were not able to use.

We were very happy with our rooms. They were clean, updated and spacious. We were pleasantly surprised to have a refrigerator, microwave and a safe. The hotel staff were courteous and accommodating. The Squire Pub was a fun place for our family to hang out. I would recommend this hotel. We will be back.

Our stay was from Monday, March 15, 2021, to checkout Thursday, March 18, 2021, and room was in the 1100 building. Building is a short walk to the main building. Parking was a little confusing, not a lot of spaces for the building and our room was not facing any parking spaces or close to. The facility is large and spread out. The only amenity we used was a drink in the pub. We noticed that it was supposed to be happy hour, but not so and drinks were expensive especially for using house spirits. Pub was like a normal bar area. Room was a good size with an extra sink area in the room. Room seemed a little worn but was clean and suited our needs. Nice that a small refrigerator was in the room. Coffee for the Keurig tasted like water. Staff were nice especially the people cleaning the snow on Tuesday morning. Just felt the facility and room didn't justify the expense.

Room was extremely dirty, stained sheeted and couches, broken handles, hair on floors, crumbs on carpet, some of the amenities listed were not available. Great location, but that's about it. Wouldn't recommend.

It would have been an amazing stay had I been checked into the right room and did not encounter a hostile employee Martini who did not want to let me speak to a manager to quickly resolve the mistake.

• This is a standard Best Western, nice but the usual. There is nothing Premier about it except the price. • Careful. They charge the entire amount to your credit or debit card the minute you make the reservation, even if it is months in advance. In the entire Best Western chain, only this hotel and one in Las Vegas do this, so you may not expect it. They did not tell me they would do this when I made the reservation. If you need to cancel be careful to do it before the deadline of it will cost you. • Breakfast is not included. You will have to pay over $13 per person, plus tip, at their restaurant for that. • They failed to give me the goodies bag that comes with high level Best Western membership. When I went to the desk again to mention a clogged toilet, from a previous guest, threatening to overflow into our room, they remembered. The bag included a free breakfast for me, but not my wife. • The presence of a plunger next to the toilet is unusual, but apparently needed. However, the maintenance man who came to fix the problem stated it was inadequate for the job and had to get a heavy-duty model.

Our stay at the Best Western was great right from check in! Bee at the front desk was so helpful, friendly, and personable! Our friend with us had suffered a knee injury the day before & they went & got her a large bag of ice & brought it to the room for us. The room and bathroom was clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, contributing to a great night sleep! Breakfast in the Canyon Room each morning was delicious, convenient, & reasonably priced. The location is 15 mins from the Grand Canyon Visitor Center inside the National Park making it very convenient to get to without having to pay the upcharged prices of staying inside the park. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to vacation the the Grand Canyon!!

Large room with two sinks, refrigerator and microwave- lots of room for our family of 4. Our room was slightly dated, but clean. Kids loved the indoor swimming pool, bowling alley and arcade. Quick drive to the south entrance of the Grand Canyon.

Although rated a Premier Best Western, it is far from it. The lobby has been updated but the rooms are very lacking. Our upgraded King room had a mattress with a huge swaile on both sides. It's as if they haven't changed mattresses in many years. I don't know why they rate this a "Premier" facility.

Great place! We checked in late Sunday. Great place woke up super( and we were super close to Grand Canyon).. so we beat all the crowds! Came back around 2:30 the town lacks a lot if you are not a 10 hour hiker but best western is great... indoor pool/ hot tub. Food within the resort is great , had a pre dinner drink at the pub....the male bartender...never got his name ...should not deal with the public!!! Marco in the game area was fabulous and answered all my questions! We had a reservation at the Coronado so I moved up to that bar while waiting for my husband to get ready .. Sammy and David were excellent! I'm in service so I take most things In consideration but the pub male... unbearable.. everyone has a bad day but he was impossible!. Upstair restaurant was excellent ...food drinks people fireplace atmosphere all great. I had the vegetable pasta and my husband had the sea bass both were delicious. I had an espresso martini.. David was spot on.. for my dessert! Sammy was so attentive and a wonderful hostess with us and everyone that walked in.

Room #7318 was a great Suite - but not in the winter months. The adjacent heating system was extremely loud when engaged and caused the headboard of the bed to vibrate. We had to move out of the room at 8:00 pm - to another room or we would not have been able to sleep. Obviously Hotel personnel was aware of this problem from previous guests because whenever the heat in the 7000 building is engaged the noise generated in Room #7318 is unbearable. Great Suite - but not if you cannot sleep in it! Hotel provided some room credit due to the fact that we had to change rooms - but not nearly sufficient for a $300 room that they should not even be able to sell without informing customers that sleeping in that particular room is not an option. Hotel staff was supposed to communicate with us regarding our concerns after we departed - but never did. When we initially called the front desk to express our concerns about the noise from the heating system (I initially thought it was just a plane flying overhead) they said they would look into it and get back to us - but did not respond. At this time we still have pending charges on our credit card that we were told would be removed but have not been - 5 days after checking out??

Do not stay at this property. The room was disgusting, the heat did not work in one room, the other room the heat over worked, and wouldn't turn off. Called down and was told to turn off heat and open window. Slept with window open when it was 10 degrees.

We booked this for a family stay. The location is awesome and hotel is nicely decorated and welcoming. They have a lot of common areas like pools, outdoor fire pit and restaurants on site. Unfortunately, they did not have bowling alley or arcade open during our stay (which was part of the reason we booked here). Even though this is a Premier location, there was no complimentary breakfast. The cheaper Best Western hotels offer this but not this hotel does not. The restaurant service for breakfast was slow (multiple people waiting to get seated left) and food is average diner quality. The rooms are large for a typical hotel. Nice big bathroom too. We had a two queen room. Sheets were clean and beds are average hotel beds for comfort. It could have been a little cleaner. There was pet and human hair on carpet and we found a possible diamond earring on the floor. All the staff is helpful and professional. Check-in and check-out was fast. I think if Covid were not a factor, this would be a good option to come back to.

I guess I should not be surprised at this property. It is typical of so many hotels where there are a llimited number of rooms in the area. The rooms are old, dated and dark. Overpriced for the conditions. Toilet hada pink ring which tells me it has not been cleaned. There was a tooth pick on the floor near the bed. Noisy location. The next morning we discovered the window was not closed/locked after the previous guest. That explains the dirty room. The lobby is beautiful and updated. Our bill was messed up and we had a difficult time getting it squared away. As compensation, we got a free breakfast which was not so great either. The wait staff completely ignored us. During the entire breakfast, we were given one cup of coffee, even after requesting refils. AND, it was not busy in there! I do not recommend this hotel. We were on a month long road trip and this was the worst experience the entire time.

We really enjoyed our stay! If you want to avoid the throngs of people and have the hotel almost all to yourselves then.... (well, I am not saying because then you'll go and ruin our timeframe. LOL) Breakfast hostess was the BEST and friendliest of the staff. Check-in was a bit challenged, must have been a new guy because I had to prompt him for the Welcome bag and our breakfast tickets. Other than that, BEAUTIFUL hotel, and we will be back!!

Our stay at this Best Western was great. The room was clean and the place is beautiful. The reason I didn't give it five stars was because they did not offer a free breakfast like every other Best Western offers. Even a free granola bar and an apple would have been great. They did have a breakfast buffet but my husband and myself are vegans and everything in their menu had some form of animal. Fortunately there is a store close enough where we were able to purchase something to eat. However all that being said it is a beautiful place.

The stay was perfect for a 3 night visit to the Grand Canyon. Only the south rim is open at this time. The room was clean and had everything we needed including a keurig coffee maker. We used the indoor hot tub, ate at the restaurant for breakfast (ask for the house made salsa-spicy and delicious) and had a drink in the pub. It was very quiet due to COVID and the off season. Only one other family in the restaurant for breakfast and only us in the pub. Service was friendly and quick. Margarita was tasty and fairly priced. The bowling area and arcade were closed which was understandable due to the pandemic. Everyone was wearing masks and being safe. Housekeeping did not come in the room, if we needed amenities or clean towels we needed only ask.

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful. Staff is friendly. Location is perfect for visiting the Grand Canyon. We needed a handicapped room and it worked perfectly for our needs. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We arrived at this hotel after another hotel we were scheduled to stay at lost power. I'd like to mention that we had stayed at this property two previous times, so I knew what the hotel was like beforehand. We were cordially greeted. We went to our room right after checking in and soon found out that our thermostat wasn't working. It wouldn't light up. It did nothing. We called the front desk and someone came fairly quickly. He said the panel needed new batteries. He fixed it and we were fine for the rest of our time there. We ate breakfast there. When we first arrived in town we were told it was expensive. However, at $6.99 for a full hot breakfast in the dining area, it was a reasonable price. There was plenty of food to eat. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Spent well over $400 dollars here for two nights. Felt like we were splurging on a nice hotel while visiting the Grand Canyon. No doubt the lobby was beautiful. However, all the extra things that we booked the hotel for were a bust. The "bowling alley" and "Fun center" were closed, and we were told they only opened on Friday and Saturdays. A similar issue with the gift shop/store on premises. These amenities should not be highlighted in the hotel's description, as it's one of the big reasons we chose the hotel. All of the cozy winter pictures of the outdoor fireplaces and heated lamps were for picture purpose only apparently, as it was cold out and not one of those things were on to be enjoyed. Breakfast was expensive and pretty close to gross. My son got pancakes that tasted like they were made of old batter. And then there was the room....Had the best attitude we could about nothing being what we'd hoped, but figured at least we'd settle in to a beautiful room. Nope...room about the quality you'd expect of a $65/night room. The worst one of our entire vacation, yet the most expensive. This is a hotel that turned out to be a beautiful lobby facade with nothing that made it worth the price paid. Blah.

Staff was very polite, engaging and efficient. Good and well maintained internal decor. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Good list of amenities for the guests to enjoy. Sufficient parking across all 5 buildings.

This hotel has everything. Pet friendly. Lounge and Restaurant inside hotel. Hotel is clean. Service is great. Have stayed here on multiple occasions. I Highly recommend this hotel. Very close to the Grand Canyon entrance.

I stayed here earlier this week in a king suite #5321 on third floor. Located next to the large sitting room you walk through from the elevator. Due to COVID, not crowded. Amazing room for cheap price compared to just about anywhere else. Brandy at the front desk gave me a very friendly and professional welcome and goodbye when I left. As you first enter the suite you see off to the left a counter and stools, sink, mini fridge and Keurig coffee machine. A large clothes closet was off to the right, next was a small round table and two chairs, straight ahead a sofa, comfy chair coffee table, and a desk with comfy chair, turn and you see the king size bed and another clothes closet (bathrobe), tv mounted on a swivel above a small check of drawers, keep going and you pass a counter, stool and a large wall mounted makeup mirror, granite counters, in the bathroom you find a large jetted tub, separate large shower, toilet in own room, and one sink. Highly recommend and will return. I suppose if I had any suggestions it might be to add lamps on end tables by bed. Lighting is very low. Reviewed restaurant under separate review.

Clean, crisp room. Beautiful property. Super close to restaurants, shops, and the PARK. Wildlife visits every evening: elk and horses, which the kiddos thought were amazing. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Make sure you try the drink machine by the desk, see the mini-cowboy museum-type displays, and the restaurant and gift shop. This place has everything.

We celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary by road tripping to the Grand Canyon, and this was the Perfect place to stay (less than 5 minutes from the entrance to the Grand Canyon park)! The hotel is aesthetically pretty and very quiet, the three restaurants in the hotel were great, the gym, pool and hot tub area were all large and clean, and everyone we encountered were great!

This Best Western was such a nice surprise. Big, clean room with comfortable beds, microwave, mini refrigerator, and a Kuerig. The hotel has vintage photos of the Grand Canyon all over and in the rooms that are really special and make the hotel seem more boutique. They have both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs that appear to be pretty new (and they are open). The location is great and is only about 10 minutes from the park entrance gate. We got take away from the restaurant twice (steak salad and ahi tuna salad) and pizza from the pub. The food was pricey, but delicious. We stayed in the newer buildings.

My stay at this hotel was well worth it. Due to current safety health circumstances it was not crowded by people. All amenities needed were available and staff friendly courteous willing to assist to make your stay more enjoyable and memorable.

The hotel failed to provide the rooms I booked. Different people gave different reasons for failure to provide the room the was booked and paid for. Filthy bed sheets and toilet. I was loyal customer with membership. However this would be my visit to them!

It is a Tesla Destination charging site. There are 2 Tesla chargers and 1 Non-Tesla charger. Short distance to Grand Canyon. Shuttle available. The onsite Coronado restaurant is awesome. Good food, especially the steak. Friendly staff that taylors to our needs.

Everything at this hotel is awesome indoor pool and hot tub were great food at the restaurant was great the staff was hands down awesome had no issues with any thing when I go back to the Grand Canyon Will stay there again hands down

We ran into a friend who bought an old RV with no heat, electricity, etc. It sounded like an upgrade vs. the value and experience we had here. Save yourself the money and buy a tent. Google marked this as an 'upscale 4 star hotel' .. have you heard of false advertising? We entered our room from the parking lot through our exterior facing room door to find multiple dead bugs, loose black hairs from previous guests, food in the microwave, and dirt on the walls. We heard noise 24/7 and had light coming into our room through the doorframe all night. The only positive I can think of were the speed of my check-in, mostly because the guy at the front desk seemed irritated he had to do any work. This Best Western is clearly coasting on the constant stream of tourists visiting the Grand Canyon and have completely given up on any intentions of satisfying their customers.

Great location if you are going to Grand Canyon . Small little town not many restaurants but what is there is walking distance . Hotel was clean , room was good size . Pool , hot tub and outdoor fireplace area all were immaculate . Outside bar was not open while we were there . Also has indoor pool and hot tub . Restaurant on site was pretty good , berry mojitos were wonderful ! Didn't eat breakfast there but they have a area for that also ( not free ) . Also has bar downstairs , small bowling alley , and arcade area which is cool for families . Would definitely stay here again .

Wow! Most spectacular Best Western we've ever stayed in. Very luxurious property. Room was terrific. Large lobby with interesting mini-museum type artifacts about the West. Staff was most professional. Great place to base out of for the Grand Canyon. Very walkable from Plaza Bonita in case you have a few two many margs. lol.

This is a very upscale elegant property. Conveniently located near the entrance of the Grand Canyon South Rim entrance, Staff was very accommodating and efficiency. Breakfast was great. Loved the Western display and artwork in the lobby. A little pricy but worth the convenience for a once in a lifetime trip.

The location is very nice, only 15 minutes to the Grand Canyon visitor center With plenty of restaurants near by The room is very basic and appetite be clean until I move the night stand to put my phone charger in the socket, I found a bag of loose candies Perhaps the cleaning staff never see that but I bothers me I am hesitant to request room change because we were all settled and done our basic disinfection Other than that, it is the Best Western you'd expect

Selected hotel due to the good reviews over The Grand. 1st room we checked in door was not locked. Carpet was dirty not vacuumed, DND sign on the floor, tub didn't look clean, stain on the wall, really wrinkled bed sheets, smelled musty, and to top it off toilet didn't work. Got moved to another room 2 queens. Rooms are a plain simple and look dated but with plenty of amenities like a Keurig, fridge, micro. Bathroom pretty small. Pillows were small sized and bed lumpy so did some tossy. A/C is noisy so if you are a light sleeper may not be for you. For a one night stay was okay for what we needed. Breakfast was great we had the burrito was perfect size with side of hash browns and some coffee.

If you have preconceptions that Best Westerns are just average places, throw that idea out the window for this place. The lobby was spectacular, and featured tasteful and wonderful bronze statuary and murals related to the Grand Canyon. The service at the front desk was excellent; I needed extra time to check out, since of course I stayed at the Grand Canyon longer than I should have. I was given a late check-out with no questions asked. The rooms were clean and the decor was simple but tasteful and related to the canyon. A microwave and refrigerator were well worth the price, and I brought groceries and prepared food from Flagstaff for far less money than the not-at-all-surprising high prices for food in Tusayan. I would definitely stay here again for the convenience to the park, and for the excellent rooms and service!

Our trip was very disappointing. This BW Premier is using Covid as an excuse for understaffing and poor maintenance. We really looked forward to this trip as this has been a very stressful time. The broken hotel amenities, understaffing, staff contradictories made this trip itself stressful. Despite the fact that I confirmed directly with the hotel via FB Messenger that the arcade and bowling alley would be open Sunday night--I was told on Saturday night that it would not be open Sunday due to no staff be scheduled to work it. This was very disappointing for my small kids, as this was what they looked forward to most for the trip. During the 1 chance we were able to go to the arcade, the only coin machine in the arcade was broken. Also of the 3 bowling lanes, 1 was broken. The wait for bowling was very long because of the limited lanes. For dinner, I was sent on a wild goose chase to order kids meals. Due to contradictory information from the staff regarding where I could order kids meals; I (along with my tired, hungry, small kids) was sent from the bowling alley, to the restaurant, to the pool bar, back to the bowling alley, and ended up at the pool bar (with only 3 food choices available---still no kids meals). Exhausted, we sat by the outside fireplace and were thinking "this is nice..." but alas, the outside fireplace was broken. Despite there being a note on our reservation about the BW Rewards gift card, the gift card was not applied to my bill.

The rooms are nice and clean. We had breakfast and the staff were terribly rude in the kitchen. We waited over 40 minutes for our food. It was ice cold when we got it. I told staff who refused to correct the issue. I told the front desk who just apologized, completely unacceptable service!

The minute we walked in the room we were blown away. Huge room (2 queen beds), decor was very inviting, and that bathroom....amazing for a hotel like this. There is an indoor pool/hot tub and an outdoor pool/hot tub. Very rarely do you find this. The outdoor pool was a bit chilly in September but still amazing. The bar at the pool was a great amenity also. The fitness center over looks the pool and is one of the largest I have seen at a hotel. Spacious, natural light, plenty of equipment and very clean! Here is the best part...I was out early for a run and when I returned to the property there were wild horses grazing near the entrance. And they remained throughout the morning. What a beautiful sight.

Toilet wouldn't flush for two days. Had to have maintenance come in twice. As a consumer, this is a basic expectation. Would offer nothing to help ease the inconvenience. Four people in the room. Had to walk all the way to the lobby to use toilet Otherwise, nice room

Best Western Premier is super clean and fresh even the ceiling vents! We had traveled from Hilton (dirty) Sedona to Grand Canyon Best Western and were so happy to see the clean room, lean floor, spotless bathroom! This has got to be the cleanest Best Western I have stayed at!!! People are all friendly and Covid clean-wearing masks. 2 pools indoor and outdoor. Large fire place and activities. Had a wonderful time!!

Nice room, clean and good for one night. We had to be moved because someone decided to smoke marijuana in our building. They moved us without issue. My wife and I bowled a game downstairs in their bowling alley which was a nice bonus. Nice pool area, water was very cold.

There was dried food splatter on the bathroom door. We were so tired that we just cleaned it. There was also a stain on the sheets, but again we were too tired to change rooms. The front desk was in another building and we were only there one night. The person at the check in was wearing a mask, but it was not covering his nose or all of his mouth.

Super convenient to the Grand Canyon. Quiet and spacious room. Several restaurants close by along with a good restaurant on property. WiFi was good, room was clean, fridge in the room, and there was a safe in the room The only reason this doesn't get an excellent rating from me was because the microwave was disgusting. I can overlook this normally, as sometimes things get missed. But when I called the front desk to let them know, they said they would take care of it. Great, we would be gone all day, so no problem. Came back that evening, still not cleaned. Called again, they said they would send someone upright away and they did. We left the room while were taking care of it, came back and it was clean, tho they left the microwave plate on the dresser....and it wasn't clean. Overall a great stay minus the slight mishap, and we WOULD stay here again.

We love this place. We stayed here on a previous trip and had been upgraded to a suite. We weren't as lucky this time as it was sold out. But our room was spacious, with every necessary creature comfort. Large bathroom with a huge counter holding double sinks; very helpful getting ready for the day. We enjoyed the outdoor pool but missed having the pool bar open. Not sure why it wasn't, because lots of room around it for social distancing!? The spacious indoor pool is next to the outdoor pool and also very nice. The entire property is lovely and we will stay here again - especially if we can't get a place in the park, which is always preferable.

Kids loved the indoor and outdoor Pools and Spas. Mom and Dad loved the location so close to the Grand Canyon, the game room and bowling alley although it wasn't open when we visited on a Tuesday, the decor and the warmth. The check-in Lodge is really cute. Great option in a tiny town where options are limited just outside the entrance to the Grand Canyon checkpoint.

Great family friendly hotel 15 minutes from Grand Canyon. Note that they do not have complimentary breakfast like other BW's. However facility and amenities are that of 4-star hotel. Has great indoor and outdoor pool, which is great w/ kids. Room are a little old, but clean and spacious. I've stayed inside Grand Canyon before (one of the lodges inside the park), but I think this is much better value and offer more comfort. Would recommend highly!

This was our least favorite Best Western of our 2 week trip. We stayed in Zion and Bryce and they were fabulous. This hotel was much more expensive and while the hotel is in a great spot, it is dated. Cars are parked outside rooms and you can hear them coming and going at all hours even on the second floor. You can also hear everything that's happening in the rooms around yours. The staff was welcoming and kind and COVID recommendations are being followed. Pool area was great. Most amenities are not open due to virus though. We also didn't realize that breakfast was not included at this site. That was a huge disappointment as the price was the highest. All in all the stay was fine. Not our favorite but...

This was our home base for our Grand Canyon trip. We stayed here bc there was suppose to be a bowling alley and arcade to help keep out niece busy. The arcade was closed due to covid (although we were told on the phone it would be open) and the bowling alley was only opened on the weekend (we were there on a Monday and Tuesday) so that stunk!! But the pool was nice and the food was decent!! And the margaritas kicked a*s!

Our first visit to the Squire Inn definitely will not be the last! Each and every staff member we had contact with went out of their way to help make sure our experience was fabulous. Our room was spacious and very clean; no concerns at all with the ongoing Pandemic. The menu and wine list at the restaurant was excellent - as was the food. My steak was perfectly prepared per my order and the service was outstanding. There are plenty of activities for families too: indoor and outdoor pools, an arcade and bowling lanes are all available when your day at the Canyon is done. Check this place out!

We are picky and generally stay at Marriott as we get perks. We arrived and were immediately upgraded. The hotel was clean, we felt safe (It was the summer of COVID) , the staff was welcoming and on-top of everything. The room was large, comfortable and well-priced. We ate in the restaurant several times and enjoyed it. Were were iffy on the location as our main reason to visit was the park, however, it was easy to access so didn't detract from our experience. Honestly we were pleasantly surprised and highly recommend this Property. Thanks for a great stay and the upgrade:))

Excellent service, clean room and nice indoor and outdoor pools. Helpfull stuff and very friendly workers. Location is very comfortable and close to the Grand Canyon entrance. Highly recommend this hotel. Best western is really BEST

My wife incurred and injury while stay at the Best Western Premier Grand Canyon. After I got her home and through surgery I mad several attempts to contact the Hotel regarding this and the kept forwarding my call to numb ears the had voicemail and no one would ever return the call.

The website didn't note that the bar and arcades closed. Shower drain was clogged. Pics on website are for the newer rooms; likely not the one you will get. You have to ask a staff member to turn on the outdoor fireplace. There was no staff in site ther than front desk.

The lobby is modern and nicely done. The gift shop has a variety of items. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool.The breakfast was filling and tasty. We had a couple of issues. My wife booked our room under the impression of what was listed on the website. Be aware there is a new and old section and you may get stuck in the older section (not terrible by any means) but not what you paid for! Our junior suite was completely different than the picture on the website. It was very aggravating to arrive at 10 o'clock at night and find this out. Yes, it was a big room but that is not the point. We did receive free breakfast but my wife emailed the manager with 0 response. That speaks volumes. It was pretty much like tough luck! We don't care about breakfast; we got a different room than what we paid for! I don't like being deceived. All of the pictures need to have a disclaimer. We stayed for 3 nights. It would of been different than 1 night only. The A/C wasn't working properly but we figured nothing would get done and we would look upon as complaining again.

Swamp cooler did not cool. At 2:30 am with our three kids we had to move room because our room was too hot. They kindly moved us into a new room but the new room reaked of cigarette smoke and the toilet did not flush. They brought us a plunger but because of Covid they could not enter the room. Unfortunately it was not a plunging issue so the answer was to take our kids to lobby (three floors down) to go potty.

This hotel was perfect for our family of 5. Booked a room with two queens and a roll-away. They waived the charge for the roll-away since we were Best Western members which was nice. The pool area was amazing! Kids enjoyed the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, and there was an indoor pool as well. VERY CLOSE to Grand Canyon park, and lots of places to eat in the small town. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

3 night stay - had to change rooms First impression - they need to hire more people. There was one, younger person working - he had three people on hold, three people waiting in line and an impatient dad asking for maps. There were multiple people in the bar/restaurant area, which was empty. So if you're booking during covid, be patient. I booked two rooms, one for my mom and one for me and my fiance; both king bedrooms with a communicating door for 3 nights. We were in the older building. It was full of families - which meant a lot of screaming, crying, yelling and running feet. It was dirty, old, and run down. I was disappointed when we first walked in because the rooms looked nothing like the photos. The carpet felt like it had never been cleaned since it was installed. There was a used coffee pod in the coffee maker. The air conditioner was old, noisy and run down. We thought it was going to be nice because it overlooked the pool. WRONG! THE POOL IS OPEN 24 HOURS and we heard a group of adults and kids out there until 1am. We blasted the air conditioner to try to drown out the noise. By the morning, the air conditioner burned out and smelled "hot." When we went down to the concierge to ask her about the pool policy, she couldn't have cared less. I just asked for new rooms. And that's when the magic happened! She gave us two brand new rooms. We knew when we walked in that they were going to be much better. The rooms were brand new and quiet. We couldn't hear anything. The sheets still sucked, but we were so relieved we didn't care. Pros: - The gym is awesome - super clean, enough equipment, and empty - If you get the right rooms, the rooms are great. - You can't beat the location. We went to the park for sunset, for sunrise and to see the dark sky. - Better coffee in the better rooms, Keurig cup type makers - Bigger bathrooms with lots of counter space - Great aircon (in right room) - Super clean (in right room) - Pool is open 24 hours (if you're not sleeping near it) Cons: - If you have a pool facing room in the old building, it's LOUD - Pool is open 24 hours - Sheets are awful - SUPER Dirty (in old rooms) - Outdated (in old rooms) - Aircon doesn't work (in old rooms) We can't say much about the food because it was over priced. There aren't a lot of food options in the area, so we ate a lot of snacks and Starbucks for breakfast. If you get the right room, it's great! It would have been a difficult trip if we got stuck with the old rooms.

Dirty top blankets, no none slippery pad, fridge was dirty, used bar soap in shower, hair between sheets, stained pillows case, broken coffee maker. Over all stay was ok just a few thing they could work on for next time.

My girlfriend, two dogs and I were on a road trip and this was our final stop. This BW is very close to the GC and right in the town. Pool was great. Room could be cleaner. Staff was very nice. Dog friendly.

We stayed at the Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire Inn while on our two day stay to visit The Grand Canyon. This hotel is located in the small town of Tusayan, just outside the park. Tusayan offers a number of hotels, an RV park, general store, and food establishments from fast food to steak houses. The hotels in Tusayan are much easier to book than the hotels located inside the park on the South Rim of the canyon, and offer quick ten minute access to the park entrance, as well as the shuttle system provided by the park during the main tourist season. This Best Western is conveniently located at the last stop of the park shuttle system (purple line) for easy access to and from the park without having to drive and park a vehicle inside the park, although park access still requires the entrance fee. This hotel is also located five minutes from the Grand Canyon National Park Airport that provides the airplane and helicopter tours of the Grand Canyon. This is a full service resort with two pools, 4 onsite restaurants, fitness center, game room and bowling alley, pub, and gift shop that has clothing and other items one may have forgot to bring. The rooms are spacious and well sound proofed and provided with plenty of outlets for charging devices. We didn't know we were next to one of the pools until we opened the curtains. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The service to the room was excellent. We were on a tour with a group, and were provided breakfast each day. The all you can eat breakfast was hands down the best I have encountered in years of traveling around the world. Anything you might expect in beverages, fruit, cereal, as well as real bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and other breakfast fare. A chef prepared omelets to order. There were other items that become too numerous to remember. The tables were bused as soon as a plate was finished, ready to go back for more. This hotel was a delight to stay at, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit the Grand Canyon.

The lobby is beautiful, the property is fantastic and our room was large, well appointed and clean. The staff was very friendly. We arrived early and they were happy to give us our room. Our stay was during COVID 19 restrictions and the facility was accommodating and cautious.

Stephen was most accommodating in getting us checked in at a late hour; a great place to stay; very clean, nice beds, and a wonderful locale in relation to entering the South Rim; only a mile away! Should we ever return, this will be where we'll stay; thanks again, Stephen!

Hotel just opening back up after coronavirus. Most staff helpful. Restaurant staff not so much. Service was so slow. Several staff downright rude. Many amenities not open and hours have changed drastically. Check with them prior to travel. I did not and was disappointed.

This property has all the amenities you could need for a family trip as well as privacy for couples. The King suite is large and nicely decorated. The bed in our room was handicap accessible and too soft for my back. The jetted bath was wonderful!!

The hotel is located only 1 mile away from the Grand Canyon South Rim entrance. Staff is very nice and are always happy to help you. The hotel ended up being much better than we expected. Facilities are nice, indoor and outdoor pool, clean towels, bar with good food and a little souvenir store... On the other hand, the bedrooms need to be updated. As soon as we arrived we had a problem with our fire alarm (that was fixed immediately), second with our toilet that did not flush as the water mechanism got stuck and our final major issue was the ceiling leaking water over our couch during the entire first night, we had to change rooms. Coffee machine was dirty and we also found burnt matches behind the curtins in our second room.

Wonderful hotel with lots of amenities just outside the Grand Canyon National Park. Several restaurants and lounges. Pool area was very nice! Other restaurants and shopping near by. Staff were all very professional and welcoming!

The hotel was very convenient to the Grand Canyon. The staff was really all great. The rooms were pretty good size but I felt it was a little outdated. For the average person it's fine, but if you travel often and used to Updated big boxes I felt the accommodations were a little outdated. They kept the hotel clean though. My family enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pool though!

We stayed here in January 2019. I have just looked for the hotel again as we are planning another trip next year, and this hotel was by far the standout of our whole trip last time. The pictures don't do it justice. The hotel was magical. It was snowing and we spent the evening in the outdoor spa. Pretty amazing when you are from Perth, Australia and haven't seen snow before. The indoor pool was also lovely. The rooms were huge, which gave our kids a chance to move around after spending a lot of time driving and staying in small hotel rooms. And finally, the hotel is so close to the Grand Canyon. It is also surrounded by a number of restaurants and a unique gift store. We can't wait to come back!

I guess due to the COVID-19 the hotel doesn't think they need to practice customer service. Relocating my family across the country and I decide to stay here but they did not give any warning or notification that the amenities BW normally offers at all hotels would not be offered here. I book the same day check-in and did not arrive until 1 am. I call them to let them know I would be arriving at this time. I am a completely reasonable person so if they gave me a heads up about the changes I would have been ok. the hotel is completely empty and they did not give me any of my requests. I was traveling with my family and a puppy request connecting rooms or rooms next to each other. I have to move 2 times before I got my request. it was almost 3 am until we were officially check-in. they did not offer the grab and go breakfast. told me to go back to the gift shop at 9 am. Grab and Go breakfast was from 7 am - 10 am. I also called BW customer service they did nothing. All I asked for if to honor what you advertised and when the hotel is completely empty to honor your guest's request. so they don't have to move around several times in the wee hours of the morning. Not to mention there was a worker smoking on the property at a smoke-free hotel. I expect better from a hotel that a 4 diamond hotel.

This is the nicest best western we've ever stayed at. We stayed during the start of COVID-19. For the protection of everyone the pool, fitness, and dining areas were closed, so I can't review those. The staff was beyond helpful. Everyone was apologetic for the closed amenities and we were able to eat take out. We had breakfast burritos which were exceptional and pizza which was very good. The room was the largest we've stayed in. I'm not sure if we were given an upgrade. the room had two sinks, one in the bathroom and a separate vanity area. We found having the two sinks very beneficial. Last, we brought our dog and there were walking trails and forest service roads right next to the hotel. The facility and room were clean and up to date. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This hotel is located just outside the park. We stayed at this hotel for one night in early March. The rooms are very nice. The hotel offers a lot of amenities (bowling, multiple restaurants, indoor and outdoor pool) I'm sure it is quite busy during the high season, but was very quiet and enjoyable. If you get a chance eat at the Coronado Room. Wonderful meal after a day hiking around the canyon.

This is only the second time that I have stayed at a Best Western Premier hotel. My previous experience set my expectations very high. This hotel did not meet those expectations. The room was nice; but, about average for a mid-range highway hotel. The bar was less than inviting with an extremely small menu. Other restaurants were either not open or very expensive. Given the price, we might have done better by staying at a hotel in Grand Canyon National Park.

Coming from SC. had to reply heavily on these reviews--which I found helpful, so I am taking time to write mine. Locale to canyon is super close a few miles. Enough driving back to hotel from canyon was cool--with both nights setting a showing from the local Big Horn Sheep ( I think). The BW Hotel worked out very good for us. We had a King room in the central Bldg. Others have commented on this aspect of Bldging location. The swimming pools are quite nice--we only used indoor in March. The Building and doors seem quite secure. The lobby has great fireplace which we enjoyed both nights. James the concierge keeps the fire well stoked and is about a nice and helpful as they come!

We originally planned on staying here only one night, but once we arrived we were fascinated with the lobby and all of the amenities we decided to spend the rest of our weekend at this hotel. The room was nice and clean, carpet was a little dirty I don't think it had gotten vacuumed. Bed was comfortable. Pool area was nice and water was warm, my daughter enjoyed it every night. The breakfast crew was amazing they remembered us every morning and welcomed us back. The service was great, not only were we continually checked on by our server but by all the staff. The only downfall was no kids menus for breakfast or at the pub. We enjoyed the bowling alley one night.

Because I had not booked a hotel in advance, I called Best Western hotels direct and booked this room. It was the most expensive room the entire trip around the area. We were very disappointed in the room for the cost. The room was typical Best western but at double the cost and NO breakfast included which is why I usually stay at a BW so we can leave early in the morning.

This is a lovely hotel for exploring the Grand Canyon: clean rooms and central areas, friendly staff, good food options, drinks not too expensive, comfortable rooms/beds. Wifi worked well. Loved the fires in the lounges. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel greatly exceeded expectations. Beds were very good, rooms updated and very nice lobby. Wish they offered a free breakfast because prices in town, even fast food, are 50% more costly than home.

Large Room. Comfy bed. Two chair and a table. Wet bar. Keurig Coffee Machine, but only decaf capsules. Tv. Work station. Safe. Good size bathroom with mounted shower and bathtub. Nice historical pics on walls. Quiet area. The Room heater could have been better. Window can be opened. Hospitality is great. Staff is serviceminded. Breakfast is around 14 USD. Good assortment. Recommended. Nice gym, but I missed a Machine for working out my legs (Weights). Spacious. The pool is both indoor and outdoor. However there is not a proper wardrobe, only restrooms. Only a 15 min drive to the canyon The park fee is around 35 USD for a car and lasts a week.

First room had HVAC and phone issues that could not be resolved so we moved to another room in the late evening. Beds were comfortable, room was larger than average, microwave and mini refrigerator in the room and quite for the most part. Staff seemed stressed most of our visit (front desk to amenity services).

great people ,very friendly ,very clean rooms. front counter very friendly and very knowledgeable about the spring training area of where to get tickets and where to have a affordable time with a lot of fun .

very close to south gate of grand canyon np. unique motel. very nice. breakfast is extra. parking is not as close to door as i like. but not a deal breaker. every thing you might need is close. off season was great.

The Hotel was really nice for the small town at the Grand Canyon. It was kind of cool because it has a bar and a game room and a 6 lane bowling alley. We did some bowling in the evening and had a good time. The only bummer is that it closes too early. Was not impressed with the food/restaurants but other than that we had a great time and the cost was very reasonable.

We left the Grand Canyon national park after sunset and after observing numerous Elk in the parking lot and along the road we decided to delay our drive back to Scottsdale until daylight. Just outside the park entrance we discovered several hotels including the Best Western. The BW had a competitive rate and had a restaurant. We found the hotel friendly, clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant off the main lobby and found the food was good but very expensive. After dinner we discovered other dining options available within the hotel with family friendly pricing. We were glad we stayed rather than drive home in the dark.

Based on its high ranking/reviews, we stayed there for two nights. Attractive decoration and design. Spacious comfortable room, facilities, free parking are in accordance with our customary requirements. However, breakfast is not included in the room rate. Cost starts from  from $12.00, and does not include beverage, which is about $3.50 for coffee. Dirty hotel over priced. it's not staffed to accommodate guest. We had problems with no housekeeping for our stay that didn't even service our room! They checked us in with the window opened and slept all night with an open window without knowing! We left to have breakfast and forgot my phone came back and noticed. We called the front desk they didn't really care they stated it must have been the housekeeper before us checking us in and left it open! WTH so my husband work equipment and drone over $10k worth didn't matter! Came back from the Grand Canyon to shower the heater in the bathroom didn't work and called front desk stated they were going to send someone never did! Stayed 2 terrible nights and no one came over to resolve or make our stay better! I'm still waiting for Phil and Mr. Cabrera that neither were in the property to call me back still waiting. Stay away from this property!

During our 2 night stay we had dinner both nights in the Colorado room at the bar with Peter. He was a blast and had a ton of great energy. Would recommend the house cabernet sauvignon and the ribeye. We also had happy hour downstairs in the Pub. Malcolm was super friendly and helped give us great referrals on the Grand Canyons best places to visit. We loved the arcade and look forward to visiting the pool next visit when its warmer. Didnt get a chance to bowl but the alley looked clean and fun.

Only a 1 night stay but internet was OUT. No one mentioned that on check in and we spent way too much time trying to connect and plan out our next day via online. We had to come down and ask if we were trying to connect the wrong way. It wasn't fixed until almost on our check out the next day. My 10 year old enjoyed the pool area (we used indoors as it was Feb) but towels were out and no one seemed in a hurry to replenish them. We had to dress and go ask for some before swimming, not the worst problem to have I know...but sometimes it's the little things. The staff when I did have interactions with them were really nice and hustling, but I would have appreciated being updated on the internet issue and not constantly having to ask. You hope to get what you paid for. Location is great, I'd suggest hauling in food from outside the area to eat as options are non existent if you hope for some healthy food.

Malcolm, Michael, and Dennis are the best, most professional bartenders we met! Fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. Added so much fun to our trip!! Recommend them to anyone passing through. Make sure to try the Screwy Smokey Old Fashion!

Stayed here multiple nights. Clean, spacious rooms convenient to the Grand Canyon south rim. Malcolm, Dennis, and Michael took great care of us! Fabulous service and great recommendations. They the Screwy Smokey old fashioned!

Stayed Feb. 2020. Before you consider this hotel make sure you know the room differences. The website is not clear at all. We got a 2 queen “large room”. It was the “standard” old, small, dirty. Wife refused to stay in this room. For the price it was ridiculous. At first we were told they were sold out and no upgrades were possible. Thought about leaving the hotel. Checked back later and Sara at the front desk was the best. Gave us a Deluxe room which is what the website shows and is more like a Las Vegas quality room. Made the wife happy and a much better vacation. It's almost like the standard rooms don't even belong at this hotel. It should be separate and not part of the “Premier” Lobby is very nice, 24hr indoor pool, spa, fitness center all new. Outdoor pool closed due to recent storms and it being 15 degrees. Bowling alley and arcade is nice for kids who are bored after dark. Parking is easy and free. Even when “sold out” there were plenty of spots.

I took at trip to the Grand Canyon with my two kids and dog. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and parking was close by. The hotel had a pool and bowling alley. We didn't make it in time before the bowling alley closed but we made it to the pool (open24hrs). Pool was heated, and jacuzzi was good. We ate breakfast upstairs at the buffet in the morning, it was clean, food tasted great, lots of drink options.

We were sent to a separate motel like building which is the 'pet friendly' building you pay about forty dollars extra for. Room is dated, stains on carpet and furniture, numerous outlets did not work, bathtub faucet sprayed water out its sides (and out of tub) while you took a shower. There was a floor lamp that had its cord just loose on the floor with no outlet anywhere nearby to plug it into! After we unpacked we realized the internet did not work, called front desk and they had no one available to fix that... They offered to change our room.....but that is a pain after you have unpacked. My husband complained again the next morning and manager was not available but staff said he/she would email....we have never heard from manager...

I recently stayed at this hotel. I stayed in a handicap accessible room. The room was great. The floor plan was very spacious, allowing for my wheelchair. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. If the room isn't a good enough reason to stay here the hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and showed a genuine concern for my needs. Finally the restaurants and bars provided a comfortable environment with excellent food. When visiting the Grand Canyon in Arizona you should stay here.

I agree that this is the best hotel in Tusayan. We would certainly return. Ambience is fantastic. We were in a deluxe room and worth every penny. Front desk staff friendly and efficient (thank you Shaye!). Be aware however that on-site restaurant availability varies seasonally.

Unassuming, amazing place with something for everyone. Malcolm in the bar downstairs is a gem and did a masterful job of connecting us to other guests which led to an amazing night. Fun place with absolutely great people.

Big Mal is the absolute best - service and banter. His travel recommendationz and Aussie accent surpasses all. If he were to win some hypothetical competition, he should win 10 bottles of wine (just saying).

I don't write reviews but I had to for the experience I had at this establishment. I'm giving five stars because on my wife's birthday I received the best service and meal. Our server Malcolm in the fine dining room was amazing. He made my wife's birthday fantastic. Conversation, service, punctuality, food, drinks, it was really great. I will return again and hopefully receive the same service. We did meet the chef also, I think his name is Noel?? Amazing food and I'm very thankful we spoke with him also. This was by far our best visit to the Canyon. We will be back!!

I made our reservations online two weeks prior to our arrival. We were staying during the “off season” for tourists. We arrived an hour after the required 4 PM check in time, and was told our room was not ready. The front desk staff said it would be another 30 minutes. We drove to the Grand Canyon, and stopped back 40 minutes later. We were told our room still was not ready. We waited in the lobby an additional 20 minutes until we were told our room was ready. We were given a voucher for complimentary breakfast the next morning in the hotel restaurant as an apology. The property is very nice and it was very clean. However, the rooms needed some maintenance. The TV was ready to fall off the wall and the bathroom doors would not close. The the music in the lobby and halls was very loud and could be heard in the hotel rooms. We only ever ate breakfast at the hotel, and the food was expensive and wasn't very good.

Visited the Best western while in town and i have to say, Malcolm was the best. Served us right away and was insistent on making sure we were happy with our meal. Best steak ive had in a long time. Malcolm even let us meet the chef to thank him personally. Made our experience much more enjoyable with his funny personality. He deserves a raise!

Comfortable room if not a little outdated but really not much to complain about. Amazing spot to stay as it gives you easy access to the Canyon. The restaurant is brilliant and is 5 star. the food was excellent and the service also brilliant.

Great place for a family vacation. The only rub is the price of the ‘fine dining' restaurant The Coronado Room. The service was next to none, but the prices are much higher than the quality of the food.

If the Grand Canyon isn't enough for you, the Best Western Squire Inn has a bowling alley and game room and lounge--the whole family can have fun! The service was excellent and the main building had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun-filled weekend.

Staff is excellent & very accommodating! Great services & food! Indoor pool, jacuzzi, & fitness room were perfect for our stay especially in the winter. Excellent location right outside Grand Canyon provided ease & other eateries & tours in the area.

Stayed here for 3 nights for our visit to the Grand Canyon. Great location as it's only a few minutes drive to the entrance. Also, plenty of parking available. Within walking distance are restaurants and a grocery store. Checking in and out was fast and efficient. The room was clean and big enough for our family of four. The beds were comfortable. Aside from the standard amenities such as coffee machine and ref, the microwave was a big plus. Bathroom was clean. Soap and shampoo are provided but no toothbrush. Water pressure was great. Gym and pool available. Another positive is the availability of self service laundry. Can't say anything about the food as we are out during our whole stay. Overall, it was a great stay. Definitely worth a look if you are planning to visit the grand canyon.

The Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire Inn was absolutely worth the value and a beautiful property to stay at. Well worth your time while visiting the Grand Canyon. The amenities were top notch and all staff were warm and welcoming. The concierge helped us book a last minute helicopter tour!

We found the Best Western Premier Grand Canyon Squire Inn was the best Best Western motel we have ever stayed in. The staff of the breakfast room where highly professional with great personalities. The same is true of the Coronado Room for diner.

Nice place to stay, big Rooms, Bathroom and Shower OK, the Fine Dine Restaurant excellent, Mexican fun Waiter, great Red, Steaks - nice Pool Area with Bar and Whirl Pool - only at check out some trouble with previous Breakfast charged on our Room, still now, 6 Months later NOT sorted - anyways, was a good stay

After a long day of travel, the suite we stayed in was just what we needed. A bit of room to stretch out in plus a huge bathtub! Ahhhhhh! The only thing we needed was a bit of room service. Dinner to go from the pub hit the spot.

We booked here because the price was better than in the park. The AC was very loud, as some of the other reviews had said. We thought they surely it was something they'd have fixed, but I guess not. One thing about the whole area, bring some food in from Flagstaff or something. There is not one place to eat edible food anywhere. Literally. It's all heavy, nasty, junky, slop that people eat because they're stuck in a remote locations without a choice. We bought food from the general store and heated it up in our room, and even that was overpriced and not very healthy.

The hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of Grand Canyon (1 mile from the entrance gate and 7 mile from the Canyon rim). Rooms are adequate and Breakfast buffet was just OK. Property has rooms which are not connected via a lobby and you have to walk outside through the Parking areas. This was very inconvenient as access was pretty slippery due to snow fall. If you can not find hotels in the Grand Canyon village near the rim then this is good alternate.
