Best Western Geelong Motor Inn & Serviced Apartments

The motel was so close to the center of Geelong and only 10 minutes from Belmont and our favourite takeaway shop Cucina One12. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the waterfront finding the painted pylons. Great time.

Clean room, great breakfast and great location. Owner was very accommodating and nothing was a problem. No pressure to check out, very clean bathrooms and good minibar. I have stayed here before and highly recommend this Motor Inn.

We checked in late at night TO find a wet, dirty garbage bag under the pillow of my daughter's bed. We were unable to use the bed and after reporting it, received no explanation and no offer of any or all refund. Will never stay here again.

We needed a room relatively close to the Avalon airport...this was about 30 minutes away....so it worked well....a very nice young lady checked us in...and also helped us order a meal to be delivered.....the room was clean and comfortable...

Conveniently located but somewhat difficult to drive out of depending on your destination and the time of your departure in the morning. Bed was excellent! Rooms clean, But I would suggest that they go through the motions of being a motel and concentrate on the serviced apartments.

This was our second visit and actually stayed in the same apartment as last time two years ago. Deja vu. Everything good and the staff were always very friendly and welcoming. It''s hard to find accommodation these days for a family of six so their large apartments with 1 queen and 4 singles work well for us. Nice location near the Bay and everything close by.

My mum and I came over for 1 night stay for the day on the green concert, I phoned a few nights prior and the lady told me an early check in of 12 noon would be fine. So we arrive just after 12 noon and after two phone calls to ask for assistance almost 20 mins later someone finally comes to assist at reception ... first they weren't going to let us check in early. Long story cut short, the room wasn't ready which is fine so we proceed to drop our bags off and continue on with our day... where do I start with the room when we got back... appalling! $185 what a joke! No mini bar stocked, staff kept blaming a big group the day before for the appalling state of the room.. I was more than embarrassed staying here and paying top dollar for something just totally appalling ...very disappointed to say the least. As for the mess on the bathroom basin which made me cringe... fix it! It looks utterly dirty.

Near to the Hume Highway, this motor inn was ideally located to fast food joints for people who just want a convenient snack. Our keys were left in a safety deposit box with the code sent via email. The room itself was spacious, über clean and comfortable. The room was equipped with most amenities. The traffic is still trundling by, but what do you expect for a motor inn? If I was driving by again, I'll stay here for sure. Clean, spacious and comfortable.

Knowing ive paid and seen similar prices for a basic room at other hotels and motels, Best Western had large rooms that were clean and well lit and would definitely stay there again. Great hotel experience.

Stayed at the BW Geelong Motor Inn on our way to the Great Ocean Road. The motel is located close to the centre of the city and was easy to find. Staff were friendly, the room and bathroom large and the the entire place was spotlessly clean. Would happily stay here again.

Hard to get to as the GPS wants to send you to Keera St but the hotel is on the freeway so it keep staying we are there now walk to your destination but we could see it & had to go through back streets to enter car park. Our room was on first floor, stairs as there is no lift, door security is a chain across door, big room but not very inviting, window looked over 6 lane highway & train track but had double glazing which worked well during the night.Friendly staff, pool in carpark but did not look inviting & the grounds need tlc.

What a great Motel! The room was very spacious. We were a group of 4 adults and stayed in a family room consisting of a queen and 2 single beds. We slept quite well during our stay, the beds were very comfortable and being on a busy road, heard no traffic during the night. The bathroom was very clean, and the nice thick towels were welcomed. Complimentary wi fi was fast and the motel also offered a very reasonably priced breakfast. Our weekend stay was perfect! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Close to CBD and other locations. Friendly staff, who where very helpful clean large rooms. Only missed a Microwave in the room. Good parking space. Quite location considering the location is that close to road and the city

I stayed here for the weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. Getting here was pretty simple, Yes Google directions will tell you to go further but you just need to keep your eyes out and you'll see the entrance. Upon arrival it was your simple check in process. Once we go to our room it was seen that we weren't placed in the right room. We went down to reception and let them know. They offered us a rollaway bed and said they would have it in our room whilst we were out. I received a text saying they had placed it in our room and that they would like to offer us a complimentary breakfast as compensation. Which was very welcomed. The next morning we were able to move to the room we originally booked. The room: Simple but had everything we needed. The shower however although nice the temperature was extremely temperamental with a slight turn of the cold made it ice cold. Also in the twin room the metal pole holding the shower head and the placement on the wall made it difficult for one not wanting to get their hair wet. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of blankets and pillows available if one needed extras. The pool: this was great, it's heated and has a spa. Was a welcomed little relaxation. Overall I would come here again. ??

Very clean and tidy Motel polite staff, bit of noise from main road however once all closed wasn't too bad other than that great place to stay as we've stayed here in the past and would definitely recommend it.

A decent motel close to the town centre with ample free parking. A little hard to find the entrance when coming off the main road though. Even with a Google maps we missed the turning and then drove via some back roads and managed to squeeze in second time round. The room itself was a bit dusty behind the balcony curtain doors and in a couple of the corners but again for one night we just wanted somewhere close to the start of the Great Ocean Road. We had a spacious queen bedroom that did overlook the same busy freeway you come off. It was a tad noisy at times but for one night we didn't mind. If it was a longer stay I may have requested a room change. The bathroom is a decent size. The shower is nice but it is on a fixed mount and not adjustable in height so tall people like myself (taller than 6 feet 3) will have to bend at the knees slightly. We didn't use the pool or breakfast so can't comment on that. Worth checking out Eastern Beach, Little creatures brewery and Shiraaz Indian restaurant nearby too!

Good points first. Good size rooms tastefully decorated Good size bathroom Both look as though they've been refurbished reasonably recently 32 inch TV Free internet access (in 2017 this should be a no brainer, but Novotel on Collins still charges its guests $10 per 24 hour period! Reasonably quiet considering its location to the railway line and Mercer Street (major street) Comfortable bed (genuine Queen size, not two doubles put together) Full length mirror All the usual mini bar + tea/coffee making facilities. Bad points Location! You'll need a GPS if you want to find where the hotel is after doing touristy things. Seriously, get a GPS! The iron. I started with a clean un-ironed shirt and finished with a not so clean ironed shirt.You know those small sandy calcified bits that come out of your iron from time to time, well the iron I used this morning had lots of that coming out. So where's the ironing board? Under the bed of course! Reception is supposed to be staffed from 7am onwards, but when I called well after 7, I got an answering machine message telling me I had called outside of staffed hours and my call would be answered soon. Then it hung up on me! Summary. Don't judge a book by its cover. This Best Western Motor inn is deceptive. A bit dated on the outside, but well refurbished on the inside. My stay cost me $140 which is very reasonable considering the Motel I stayed in near Waurn Ponds a few years ago charged more, and was very motelly, if you know what I mean (think green and think pine). Over all, a pleasant stay, accommodating friendly staff, and a comfortable not too expensive way to stay in Geelong.......but don't forget the GPS!

We needed a last minute nights accommodation and this certainly met our needs. It was a lovely quiet motel. We arrived after hours and didn't read the instructions before wandering around looking for our room (our bad!) We just needed to use the key to enter the foyer! Our room was spacious and clean. It is not a new motel but certainly didn't feel dated at all. Would definitely stay again.

Very friendly staff and a comfortable stay. Stayed on a Friday and Saturday night with my husband, grandson and enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a noisy neighbour and they were onto it straight away and appololigised with a voucher for a meal. Never expected that at all. We had lights not working, remote not working either.. but they were fixed asap...Our room 16 was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when we in Geelong again and highly recommend it.

The location of this Hotel not far from downtown walking distance about 25 minute. Near to the seafront 10 minute walk. We were in king size bed room. It was clean any room size well acceptable. Senior Receptionist was very friendly and explain all you need to know.

What a fantastic location for this accommodation in Geelong. The pool was sensationally warm. The spa was hot. The Manager friendly and approachable. And the rooms are spacious and very clean. We'll be back.

The room that we had was large enough to accommodate three people. It was clean with free WiFi, the beds were comfortable. We didn't stay for breakfast so I cannot comment on its quality or the price. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth, and I did not encounter any problems during my stay there.

Stayed on a Saturday night with my partner and enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We used the push bikes available for hire free of charges. Our room 41 was spacious, quite and the bed very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when we in Geelong again and highly recommend it.

Not particularily happy with stay... Was put in a very spacious apartment on the 3rd floor...looked great but 1)Someone before us had obviously vomited on the carpet in the main bedroom... unable to sleep in the room ...the staff did try to clean the room the following day but no success...left the sliding door open and when we returned the room was freezing. 2)No electric blankets on the beds and 2 of the blankets in the cupboard were soiled.. one with vomit and the other with brown blobs of who knows what. 3)The beds had not been moved when the rooms were serviced and there was a thick layer of dust under the beds and side tables. 4)In the morning we were woken at 7.15 by workmen renovating and knocking down brick walls in 2 of the 4 apartments on our 3rd floor. Advise had not been forthcoming from the owners. 5)Not gerenally a picky person but this motel needs to speak to their cleaners to ensure a better job is carried out.

Location is close to the CBD and Esplanade, easy commute to surrounding areas, very close to train station. Little noisy with the trains and highway being next door however double glazed doors and block out curtains solve that problem. Awesome cooked breakfast, wonderful helpful manager. Huge spacious rooms and super comfy bed. Stairs may be an issue for the elderly or disabled as no lift up to the first and second floors. Very pleasant. Awesome pool.

The Best Western Geelong Motor Inn is located reasonably centrally and easy to find. It is off a busy road, but the apartment we stayed in was further back from the road above ground level. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which compared to many other apartments was HUGE! A queen-sized bed in the main bedroom, 3 single beds in the other bedroom and another single bed in the living area. The 3 single beds are spaced so far apart, everyone has plenty of space. Our apartment had two bathrooms, a laundry and a backyard. The kitchen was spacious, with a family-sized dining table. What let this apartment down was cleanliness. There were wrappers under the bed and an empty bottle in the kitchen cupboard, presumably from the last guests. The bathroom, particularly the shower, needs a really good scrub. The bathrooms didn't seem to be as updated as the living areas and bedrooms. Perhaps there's a refurb around the corner? The beds are comfortable and clean. There's lots of cupboard space too. These apartments would make a good base for visiting areas around the Surf Coast, simply because of its size - no one would feel cramped & everyone could have their own space. Its near the waterfront and shops and the staff were friendly and helpful.

First time staying here, used our free night from Hotels.com. Lovely clean spacious room with king size bed. Friendly staff, ample parking. Had to ask for face washers, and room faced highway but road noise wasn't too bad. We slept well.

We have stayed here on multiple occasions for work, sometimes for a couple of weeks at a time. It's a great location on the main road, but the rooms are very quiet. The apartments are great, huge space and fully self-contained which allows us to have enough space for 6 adults, including luggage etc to live comfortably whilst we are away from home. A lot of the apartments have been recently renovated which means they are very clean, and the kitchen and internal laundry are very functional. The staff have been great, and are always looking after us well when we stay here.

The absolute highlight of this motel has to be the staff. They were friendly, helpful and willing to have a good laugh as well. The room was clean and nice and very reasonable for the price. Downsides however, the bathroom was still slightly dirty when we checked in hairs and what not. There was unfotunatelt no lock on the bathroom and the winder on the bathroom window didn't work at all. Location was rather good even though it's located right on the highway, however was only a few side streets away from the beach, really great for a walk. Overall a very pleasant experience to be had here, the staff really made it. The heated pool was a nice surprise as well, as we weren't expecting it.

Our apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was serviced daily - which we didn't expect. We stayed here during the 70.3 ironman event and was close to all facilities and amenities. Each night was quiet so we had a decent sleep and the bed was very comfy. My husband doesn't always sleep well away from home, but he did here. We didn't eat at the restaurant but the food smelt good each time we went past. The service from the hotel staff was always very welcoming and friendly. The apartment was very spacious. the facilities in the room were also very good.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 5 nights. Over impressed as it had just been recently renovated and was sotlessly clean and functional. Very good value. The service provided by of the staff was also very impressive. Made me feel at home the whole time. Can't recommend highly enought.

Perhaps a little overpriced as have stayed in better for a little less however everything works and the staff are pleasant all in a convenient location. The double sliding balcony doors and glazing combine well to silence any traffic noise making for a comfortable stay.

Like most country town hotels, demand outstrips supply, and clearly here is another example of a very average motel asking premium prices. I stayed in a spa room which was located in the main building. I was given a room facing the main road, and surprisingly there was not as much noise as I had expected from the 6 lane M1 highway it faces, or the V-line train line which runs adjacent to the highway. The room itself was quite spacious, and the high ceilings add to the feeling of space. The room has had a bit of a make over, a fresh coat of paint, and various mediocre quality fittings and furnishings, some of which were a bit grotty and stained. Why these were not cleaned properly or replaced I have no idea. The glasses and coffee cups were also somewhat unclean, and were probably just washed or rinsed quickly in the bathroom without detergent. The main corridor is nice at the stairwell, but the feeling becomes less reassuring as you wonder upstairs where it all becomes quite tardy. The wifi (as others have pointed out) cuts in and out. It was a bit frustrating. The split system did the trick, but it had an annoying beeping sound, which sounded at regular intervals. The bed was comfortable, but by the time I got to sleeping, I was already checking the sheets to convince myself that it was clean... and thankfully it was. Having booked a spa room, I was expecting an additional spa, but as it turns out, the shower is over a bath tub style spa. The bathroom itself is quite spacious, and the fan and lighting quite good, but the lack of a fixed shower head and having to deal with shower curtains was all a bit frustrating (given the premium price). This is also not ideal for elderly people, as it's not so accessible. The hairdryer at least was a premium. I probably wouldn't stay in this hotel again, partly because it's over priced for the quality and location, and mostly because the cleanliness was questionable.

I spent one night in this hotel. If it was better I'd have stayed longer, but I switched the next day. The room was OK, but it was a little too noisy, and unusual in its fittings. Perhaps I got the disabled room (aka The Dungeon), as the bathroom was fitted with an open shower, and hand rails everywhere. Another bathroom oddity, no face-washer. The bed was OK. There was a small sofa, and a table with a couple of chairs and an unusually banana-warped top. Entering the room, there was a long bench that might have made a good workspace, but it was a little too high to be useful. The ironing board was under the bed (I had to ask reception for its location), and the iron was in good condition. Nothing so far was too bad, but the road noise made the stay unpleasant. Perhaps I made a mistake by asking for a quiet room, but I got the room closest to the passing traffic. Thankfully I carry a set of earplugs, or I'd have had great trouble sleeping. I've stayed in a number of Geelong hotels over the past few months, this is the lowest I've rated any of them to date. It isn't _bad_, but there is better value to be had elsewhere.

Stayed overnight at the Geelong Best Western Motor Inn for the first time. Lovely rooms and handy to the city, morning breakfast at a super good price enjoyed the stay and the excellent service. The added bonus a heated swimming pool.

We have just come back from an overnight stay at the Geelong Motor Inn. It was very easy to find and at check in, we found the staff to be very friendly and our room was clean and tidy and noise levels were very minimal. The only small down side is the pillows were a little uncomfortable. Dinner at the Telegraph Hotel, a short 10 min walk, was exceptional.

We stayed overnight while our furniture was getting ready for us to move into our new home. The Best Western was close to our new home and the rate was reasonable for our brief visit. The receptionist, Brooke was friendly and helpful on our arrival and ensured we had a quiet room. Brooke was also great when we asked about local pizza shops and delivery. She also, without us asking, supplied us with plates and cutlery to eat our pizza with. That is service! We had a good night's sleep ready the day when we actually moved into our new home.

This establishment has one of the best receptionist staff I have come across, she is always happy and help full, going beyond the normal level of service. The only thing the property needs to do is look at their beds that are becoming a bit tired, their breakfast is simple and fresh and the coffee machine does not disappoint. Their rooms are clean but not flash, just comfortable.

We had 2 nights at this motel and it was a very nice place to stay. Rooms were very clean and tidy and quite large. We had a small balcony. Even though it is on the main road with a railway track across the road the noise was very minimal. Only served breakfast but this was very nice also.

Despite the dreary, cold evening, reception on arrival was cheery, friendly and helpful and this contributed significantly to the enjoyment of our overnight stay. Brooke can be rightfully proud of her contribution here and of her recommendation for dinner at the Telegraph Hotel, which was also spot on. Our motel room was large, well refurbished and equipped, modern, bright, warm and clean. The free WiFi worked well and we had a back room which shielded us from the busy highway noise. The only criticism was the overhead shower which was set too low for anyone reasonably tall and this was aggravated by the intrusion of the shower pipe which came horizontally out of the wall to form a large vertical 's' shape to provide the overhead shower head. That aside, we would certainly stay again.

After a long drive we were pleased to arrive. I was greeted by a very friendly lady Rachel. The outside looks dated which doesn't worry me, but wow! Our two bedroom apartment was great! Brand new kitchen, spacious sleeping area and a gorgeous garden which you opened the sliding door out to... Plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Great split system heating\\cooling. Close to beautiful waterfront precinct. We made use of the indoor pool and spa too. Thank you for a perfectly clean and fresh stay

The welcome was very friendly and ample free paking on site. The room was massive and had everything you could want for an overnight stay. My only issue was the cleaning products they had used had left a lingering chemical smell in the room but this soon wenr, when I left the French windows open. Wifi was free and worked very well.

We booked both a double room and a 2 bedroom apartment. Both were excellent, very clean, and well appointed. The double room was very spacious, a large bathroom, very comfortable bed along with Tea/coffee and fridge. The apartment was huge with great comfy furniture,large kitchen,spacious shower, comfy beds and great fro a family. Despite being near a train line and the main road we were in rear rooms which afforded some restful sleep. We did hear the trains a little but it was actually soothing. The staff were very welcoming and could not have made us feel more at home. Parking was ample and spacious. We would recommend this large hotel for all needs including family groups as there are multiple options with various room configurations which was what we required at the time. The hotel was also near the Eastern Beach strip and West Geelong- all good for eateries.

Spent one night whilst on our way down Great Ocean Road. Great start to the first night of our mini-break holiday. Rooms were large and more importantly they were very clean. The standout was the greeting and assistance we received from the manager. We were referred to nearby Telegraph Hotel for dinner which we also highly recommend. Thanks to all for a great stay.

Enjoyable stay in a clean and comfortable motel room. Room was quiet. Service from the staff was good. Not too distant from the town centre and a nice walk along waterfront into the city. Highly recommend and would stay again.

We stayed at the comfortable BW Geelong, has many parking bays, convenient location and friendly service. The spacious room has a balcony, king size bed, heating, modern bathroom and self served beverages. Breakfast was good and reasonable esp with the choice of continental and cooked dishes.

Stayed for two nights with my family in a 2 Bedroom Apartment. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and very spacious. The apartment had 1 queen and 4 single beds which was ideal for our family size. Kitchen looked brand new with beautiful stone benchtops and a dishwasher that was handy. Although middle of winter the kids spent endless hours in the pool which was very warm. Room was quite with no traffic noise evident. The Manager (Carl) was excellent and looked after us superbly. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning again.

We chose this motel by chance, but were very pleasantly surprised..clean spacious room, good hot showers, friendly helpful staff, and good breakfast, we would not hesitate to stay again if we are in the area again!We did get lost trying to find it, but had driven right past it!

We stayed for one night in an apartment, it was very quiet and enjoyed the spacious rooms and comfortable bed. It was very reasonably priced and comfortable. We would stay there again and check out the English breakfast! Centrally based and easy to find and access. Good restaurants nearby.

Got a nice price for the weekend central to everything in Geelong ie waterfront. Clean and tidy rooms spacious all good reception staff friendly and welcoming. A hidden gem in the Geelong region and as a former resident would stay here again

We stayed in a 2 bedroom self-contained apartment. This place is on the main road and for those who are light sleepers, there is a bit of traffic noise. Personally this didn't bother me. The apartment was nice and suited our needs. Kitchen was actually very spacious (looked like it had been recently renovated), but needs a blind at the window for night time. Couches were not particularly comfortable. Beds were good - initially didn't have bed side table lamps, but this was remedied quickly the next day - all good. There is an indoor pool but we didn't use it – looked inviting though. Receptionist was lovely and friendly – happy to help and give useful advice and tips. Free Wifi was a bonus. I'd stay again.

I recently stayed at this hotel for one Saturday Night as I had a wedding in Geelong. I paid $190 for a 1 bedroom hotel room, and as I have stayed at many Best Westerns before I expected this room to be of a lot higher quality than it was, especially for that nightly rate. While the room it self was clean, and well maintained with fresh bathroom, the building and the rooms were very old. The furnishings were slightly more modern but the room felt like it was stuck in the 90's, the bed was comfortable and clean, the bathroom had a tiny window and the light fittings were so dark that it was impossible to see yourself in the mirror once the sun went down. I used the iron and it was filthy and dripped water and little white things all over my clothes. There was no information in the room about local restaurants or anything about the town. The TV Could only get 4 channels and we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to the room and the hallways were littered with sheets and cleaning equipment that we had to step over to get to our room. Overall I was very disappointed considering I paid $190 for 1 night and I ahve stayed in nicer hotel for less that $150 a night.

My wife & I have stayed here on 2 occasions recently and can only say how brilliant, helpful, happy and obliging team they are under the Management of Carl Leahy. Nothing was to much trouble. Carl was a great help when our airport transport failed to arrive for the 1 hour journey to Melbourne Airport and he quickly ascertained that it was not coming and arranged a taxi within 15 minutes to get us to the airport on time.

Expected Best Western equalled high degree of comfort and location, this motel is located on the main road into Geelong, not a side street that is indicated by address. Receptionist indicated room was at the back and therefore quiet, reality it was close to the traffic noise and overlooked a freight depot. While the room was clean, and well maintained with fresh bathroom, the bed was old and very hard. The wi fi did not work. Given the bed, noise, and location we found it necessary to go somewhere else.

Just tucked back a few streets from western beach & an energising stroll along the fabulous Geelong buzzing foreshore. This place makes you feel at home. Good value & friendly staff, with good sized clean, comfortable rooms. Even a laundry to wash a few clothes. Great find.

We had an overnight stay at this motel and found it clean, adequately supplied with the basics (shampoo, soap, tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk when requested). The staff were pleasant and helpful. After seeing how very close it is to the highway (not obvious from their website) I requested a quiet room, but I suspect there isn't one in the whole motel. They did try, but the traffic noise was not conducive to a good sleep for a light sleeper like myself. Access from the Melbourne side is easy, straight off the highway, but it's a bit circuitous from Geelong CBD.

I cancelled a book now pay latter bookimg, and as soon as i did, this hotle sweeped my account. Apon approaching the girl on the desk, she tells me thats how it is "we don't give refunds" , i was put off by the look of this building.i thought id give it a look and maybe stay as no refund was available. I got taken to the third story (stairs, there is no lift), opened the hotel door to a musty unwiped and stained table. I stoped there. I even was prepared to g o 50/50 woth the hotle in a refund and was refused. I habe intent to contact best western head office and pursue formal and a compensation of a refund. Girl gave me management phone number to no answer.

We cancelled our booking when we arrived here as it is right on a six lane highway. This place looked depressingly run down. Poor value for the money. Can't believe this has 4* Trip Adviser rating. Not up to a Best Western standard. No problems cancelling our booking .

we stayed for few days here, as a start to our GOR road trip. we wanted to stay away from hustle and bustle of melbourne but still be able to go and sight see so this worked ideally as it is located on the highway and a short walk takes you to the geelong railway station where we took a train to southern cross station,mel. we arrived late at night but as we had informed iadvance,they had left our keys in the locker and we had to just call. looks are deceiving from outside as the rooms were spacious. we had a ground floor room and a lovely lemon tree just outside. clean bathroom with almost retro stlyed tiling.only thing we no microwave in room ,but a short walk away were lot of eating out/takeaway options. and car rentals right next door. we had booked from hertz and just had to walk 200 mtrs maybe. reception people very helpful and curious abot us and conversed a lot with us. laundry avbl and heated pool also avbl. free parking. beware of breakfast timings and try to go within that as you might not get brekkie after that, . defintely a better place to start early for a great ocean road trip.

This place is a great little place, staff a so friendly and supportive, i was unfortunately unwell during my stay and they helped me get medical help. The staff even checked up on me over my stay and ensured i was happy with everything. The room was a perfect size for me, however the room had no microwave or kitchen stuff, which was probably my bad for not checking before. The Bathroom had a very modern feel to it. The bed was comfy enough after a few busy days, it was nice to get into a comfy bed and sleep the night away. Overall, this place is worth the stay, Good Job Best Western on another good hotel :D

Stayed one night and one was enough. Tired and shabby room....curtains were disgustingly stained and the only security was a chain across the front door. No lift to the 2nd floor so struggled up to flights of stairs with three pieces of luggage. Noisy traffic from the highway pretty much all night. The motel is dead on the highway despite its address. Receptionist was lovely. Polite. She was the light in an otherwise tired and worn out hotel.

A very large, clean, comfortable suite. Shower was great, good pressure. Comfy bed, fluffy white towels. A little dated in decor but still good. Short walk to,a good pub for dinner. Handy parking near our room.

We did not think to call ahead even though we would be arriving around 11 PM. The hotel reception was closed, but we were able to call from a phone outside of the hotel to get the code to the lockbox which held our room key and instructions. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside. The beds are really comfortable, the hotel room is large and clean. Reception was friendly and helpful when we came and went during the day. We rented a car from Hertz and they were located an 800m walk away.

Upon first arriving and looking the outside, after many hours on the road to get here, I have to say that my first visual impression was .. Oh no! but looks can be very deceiving and boy was I wrong in prejudging ! your stay will not be disappointing. I would like to thank all the staff, but upon arrival the key person that made the first and most warming, inviting and welcoming impression was Carl. I arrived a little early, after having driven 8 hours to get their, and and he went out of way to make sure I was comfortable while I was waiting for my room. He went as far as preparing the pool for my use whilst I was waiting. I have nothing but grateful and thankful words to all who made my stay, like I was at my own home. I now have found a real value for money place to stay, I will be return here for any stay in Geelong. Thank you for your warm and welcoming hospitality. :-) The only comment I have which is not a anything more than an observation.. The external appearance of establishment is a little dated, but the experience of the stay far out ways its appearance. (It could really do with a face lift)..!

Lovely place to stay, great service, great indoor pool...Rooms are fitted out well, as a large family the more space in the rooms the better, and they provided us with that...will always return to this motel if staying in Geelong.

Lovely woman at reception. Tidy room with modern fit out. Spacious bathroom with good shower, although shower head was mounted a little low. Good parking right outside my door. Traffic was surprisingly quiet from my room, although noise from the room upstairs was consistently audible. Wifi was slow & kept disconnecting, but over all, a good motel.

We stayed in the king spa room for two nights in august. This place is amazing. The rooms are really quiet, spacious, modern and clean. The service we received upon arrival was something else. It was amazing. When the lovely woman heard i had a bad back she made a point of letting me know that if there was absolutley anything she could do (extra pillows etc) then to just ask. The only niggly thing i have and i am a pretty picky person is the bath/shower wasn't cleaned very well. But other than that i would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

I thought this place was below average. WE booked for a quiet room and our balcony opened out to the highway. It boasts an indoor heated pool which was locked and covered, with no seating, not very inviting at all. The room itself, I was so disappointed. The bathroom wasn't clean, dirty tiles, the fan didn't work, so when I opened the window to stop it fogging up, the window had mold on it. I was almost positive our sheets hadn't been changed, they were crinkled and didn't look fresh at all. Beds were hard. Not impressed.
