« Good value; location, helpful staff »

Second visit to this hotel. wanted something convenient to main (Hauptbahnhof) railway station .... this hotel fits the bill and plenty of choices for restaurants, walk along river, etc. nearby. Staff helpful and accommodating.

    « Overall pretty good »

Great hotel and good location... traveling from DC the only thing we had to lean on were TripAdvisor reviews. This was a very cute hotel. The room we had was small but it did the job. It was very comfortable and looked pretty updated in the room which is different from the lobby. The lobby could use a little updating. The beds and pillows were suuuuper comfortable. I wish we had stayed in this hotel when we had to swing back through Frankfurt to catch our return flight home. My only complaint was the lack of air conditioning. It was HOT but the fan and windows helped with comfort throughout the night.

    « Nice, clean, fair »

We stayed three nights and were generally happy/satisfied. As one wrote the lobby and elevator is small, but honestly does that really matter...? I also didnt even check if there is air conditioning as I hate it, but with the window "gekippt" there wasnt any issue with it being too warm. And the street wasn't at all loud... Room was clean, bed comfortable, bathroom also clean. We needed an iron and board to touch up our clothing for one evening, they provided it. Lemon flavored water at the reception made for a nice short stop whenever we came/went.

« Small Lobby, Great Rooms »

Was here with a group of 20+. The lobby was very tight for check-in, we had to come in groups. The elevator fits 2 people and 2 suitcases, very very tight. However the rooms were VERY nice sized, with a balcony. My room had 2 twins, a couch that could double as a bed, another sitting bench, with a chair/desk and a table with 4 chairs. It included a mini-fridge and TV. Plus TWO armors for clothes. Too bad our stay was just for one night. The bathroom was also very roomy. The breakfast dining room was also small, with room for 10-12 at a time. During our stay, it worked out just fine. They had scrambled eggs, cheeses, meats, yogurt, cereal, lukewarm milk, coffee, tea, pastries, fruit and more. Very filling breakfast that they kept stocked. The staff was very friendly, with cold water and hot coffee at the front desk 24 hours.

    « Clean, but no air-conditioning »

Small but functional, staff are polite, rooms are clean. But would not recommend in the summer as there is no air conditioning. Otherwise a good basic hotel in a convenient location. Breakfast was good at EUR 14.

    « Good transit hotel »

I was staying here on transit, flights from Netherlands to Canada. The hotel is nicely located near the river and walking area, which is beneficial for dogs owner like me. The room is comfortable, small but cozy and clean. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly. She was really helpful with parking information etc on arrival, very attentive and polite, even when the guest group after me were really troublesome, she handled them in a good way. It has a good distance from city centre by car, and has the quietness you need for a good rest at night. Parking on basement is handy. Only the lift size is too small for guests with many luggages. The price is good for this quality.

    « Total dissapointment »

Booked a room here and got here at about 8.30pm after a very long drive from the UK. When we got to the hotel, the receptionist told us that my room was given to someone else and they've got nothing available. She said that everything is fully booked in the area and there is nothing she can do. When I explained to her that this is totally unaceptable and that my wife is not feeling well at all and we both need a bed as we are exhausted she called a manager. 2 minutes later she says "you'll have someone else's room so they will have no room when they get here". Next morning at breakfast everybody was looking very strange at us after we got to a table and started to eat. We realized that a group was very bothered by our choice of table and placed little bits of paper with Reserved written on them on all the tables around us. Really? Open buffet for breakfast and you "reserve" tables? In 30 minutes we spent to eat nobody came to stay at those tables. The breakfast staff saw this and said nothing. In the morning the person in the reception was putting her makeup on. When I interrupted her to ask if I could change some money there she said that I can do this only at the train station. And the list goes on. All in all, an awful experience. Will never go back.

« Close to the train station, easy to move around »

It is really close to the train station, get out through the front of the station, turn to your right and go ahead, cross the street and turn right in the street where the tram runs, go for a couple of block and until you see a minipark, when the park ends, cross the street and turn right, go ahead you will see the hotel. The downtown is 10- 15 min walk from there. I loved walking along the river. All the comments about the area around the station are true, but actually i found frankfurt in general as having the problem of many homeless people...the hotel is clean, handy, the rooms are very small, no A/C, you have to leave the window open. They have a powerful minifan that also helps. Staff very friendly. The area feel safe and from the train station you can connect to everywhere!

    « Holiday »

Excellent location reasonably central and friendly staff would stay again good price and wifi coverage excellent our breakfast was included and a good range of food types available helpful front desk with options for travelling to central Frankfurt or by train to other regions Room was very clean and tidy No air-conditioning so a little stuffy as was really hot

« A really nice hotel located close to downtown »

We would definitely stay here again. The staff was very friendly, the room was beautiful, and the bed was comfortable. The room was small but that is never really an issue for us since its main purpose is to keep the luggage, and is place to sleep and shower. Otherwise we are not in the room anyway. The only reason we don't give it five stars is because there was hardly any water pressure in the shower. We told the front desk about it and were told they would send someone to take a look at it. Whether or not maintenance actually looked at the problem we don't know since the water pressure remained low throughout our stay.

    « A good hotel »

The hotel is very convenient for the station. The rooms were clean and presentable. The staff were very helpful and efficient.Breakfast had a good selection of food items and the staff were attentive.

« convenient hotel, excellent location »

Convenient hotel, close to the station, to the museum promenade along the river, and to the downtown and old city The hotel staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful Excellent free wifi Very good breakfast The room was nice with a very comfortable bed

    « very nice choice »

the hotel has a good location and it is perfect for a layover night. walking distance from the train station. very helpful staff and the rooms are confortable, clean and with very nice beds. I've stayed there twice and would recommend.

« Lovely place in the middle of the city »

The BW Hotel Plaza in Frankfurt is a charming little hotel. On a quiet side street, it's an easy walk to several neighborhood restaurants. The lobby, the elevator, the rooms are small, but clean and pleasant. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive and pleasantly presented. This was our first stay at this hotel, but we will definitely return when in Frankfurt.

    « Very good Hotel »

BEST WESTERN Hotel Plaza staff is very polite, friendly, always in good mood. Rooms are cleaning every day. And they have a very very good free wi fi :) Good location, near city centre and Hauptbanhof.

    « Convenience and comfort! »

The Plaza hotel is located conveniently near the main station and in a relatively quiet side street by the river Maine. The reception staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The check-in process was quick and efficient. The room key was interesting! To open the room the key needs to be inserted in two stages. The room I had was of a fair size, clean and well equipped. No kettle in the room but tea/coffee is freely available 24Hrs at reception. The bedding was comfortable and I had a restful sleep. The sound-proofing between rooms is poor so beware. The taxi ride from the airport took about 20 minutes and cost Euro 30. The alternative is a shuttle bus or train to the main station. There are several bars and restaurants within the vicinity of the hotel, African, Persian, Indian, Italian, of course German, so something to suit all tastes. I will be staying here again.

« Decent for the price »

Considering we had read the area around the train station can be a bit seedy (and it is) we opted for something close but towards the river. The rooms were nice and clean but the service was just average at best. No one offered us suggestions on where to eat or what to see. . There was no one there in the morning when we tried to get breakfast (a bit pricey) and when we wanted to check out. Overall, it was safe inside, clean and a good location.

« Great location, beds and breakfast »

Great location between the Hauptbahnhof and the river, with very comfortable beds in adequate rooms and a remarkable presentation of a very tasty breakfast. Staff were very helpful on both my visits this month.

« In the center but no expansive »

I stay in Best western plaza during the last week of november. It's a good hotel, room large and very clean and also if it's very near to the railway station and to the metro the room is very quiet.. If you want you can go to the center by foot (about 20 minutes). It's near also to the shuttle stop that takes you to the airport Franckfurt Hahn

    « Recent Stay »

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel the last several years. We use Frankfurt as a departure point back to the U.S. from our vacations in Germany. This hotel is very convenient to the main train station and then a very short S-bahn ride to the airport. Always enjoy our stay here.

« Great little hotel for a quick Layover »

Hotel location was relatively easy to find and close to the main train station. Room itself was very small but clean and comfortable. There was a small window and a TV. Bathroom was small but clean. Great for a short stay. Check in and check out process was simple. Quite a few restaurants nearby and it is quiet after dark, not unsafe though. I would stay here again as the price point was unbeatable for the quality!

« Clean, no fuss hotel for good value. »

Great location, close to public transport. Quiet, clean, good value. Would stay there again. Even had a balcony that looks out onto the street. Our room, for 2 adults, 2 kids, had a king bed and a sofa, was not too roomy, but sufficient for one night.

« Great Price and Location »

I stayed one night at this hotel and it was very good. The location is excellent and I got a very nice room. The staff was very friendly and helped me with the language and location. The price was great for downtown Frankfurt (EUR 59).

« Convenient location, nice on the inside! »

I wasn't expecting that much from a mid-class hotel near the main train station, so I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The hotel is not the most modern, but the room was large, clean, all decor in good shape, and had a comfortable bed and functional bathroom with a tub. Lots of electrical outlets to go around, a mini-bar with reasonable prices, and free WiFi. What more can you ask for? The area is not the absolute best, but at a 5-minute walk from the main train station, you can't really complain. I managed to get two nights here on BW points (20,000 per night) during the international automobile show, so that was a great deal!

« Average hotel for average price »

Compared to other hotels in FRA the deals can be good at this hotel. - It's on a quiet side street even though pretty close to railway station. - the rooms are average but some have balconies which is a plus. - no AC in rooms and it can get really hot in summer - lift was not working when I visited - and the janitor told me that it breaks down very often.. - Average breakfast - nothing special. - Bathrooms were pretty ok - I think renovated since I visited last time. - The Persian restaurant in the opposite building is excellent and closes only around 22hrs, but that's about it in terms of food/snacks. If you're hungry at arrival - you might as well crab something before heading to the hotel.

    « Sleepless in Frankfurt »

Although the staff was welcoming and attentive, the hotel clean, the location convenient, and a decent variety of restaurants available in the neighborhood, the breakfast offering was very disappointing for the price of 14 euros. By the time I started breakfast at 8:30am, most items were gone and were not being replenished; especially the eggs. I had to wait 20 minutes for the cook to make scrambled eggs. Go to Frankfurt station because there are plenty of places to have breakfast. BW Frankfurt needs to make an effort to improve the lack of sound proofing in the very small rooms. It was very noisy - the shower next door sounded like Niagara Falls; another guest pulled in something into the wall and it sounded like they were hammering into the wall. The arrival of the linen cart at 4am sounded like a garbage truck. If you are a light sleeper do not stay here.

« Great place to stay »

Staff are really nice at this hotel. The room was excellent value for money but a bit small. Very clean and tidy Great breakfast as well but a little on the pricey side. The hotel is close to the train station but is about a 15 minute walk into the city centre. There is a small bar in the foyer which is perfect for that last drink before bed. Definitely recommend staying here
