Best Western Plus Fort Wayne Inn & Suites North

This hotel is very dirty and should be torn down. We were in town for a national tournament and was assigned to stay at this hotel. We were able to contact the tournament organizers and was allowed to switch hotels. Traci at the front desk was very apologetic and even had the head housekeeper Alicia come up for to look at pictures about our concerns. They also mentioned the owner who had owned the hotel for 8 years has never been to the location not even when buying it.

We would stay again based on the cleanliness and price of our stay with lowered expectations of hospitality. The staff wasn't very attentive or welcoming. Sub zero weather during our stay could have created complicated staffing issues. Lighting the fireplace would have certainly improved the ambiance of the lobby during those cold evenings.

Decent place for the price. Room could have been cleaner. Breakfast was great. Pool was clean. Chairs by the pool need replaced. Most was broken. Lobby and desk were decorated beautifully for Christmas.

Hotel is dirty and outdated. Bed linens seemed dirty. Towels were thin and overused. My daughter slept on top of bed linens because they appeared not to have been changed. I did report to hotel but no one responded other than to say they were sorry we were not satisfied. No call back from manager. Hotel is over priced and $30 is rediculious considering cleanliness of hotel. The staff was friendly.

The room was typical size, the room furniture had seen its days, the volume and remote on the tv was temperamental. I know some of the people in our group were disappointed the hot tub was out of order. Access to hotel was easy.

We arrived and waited while the clerk struggled to get the person ahead of us checked in. Once that was finally done, he checked us in reasonably quickly and apologized for the delay. Then he announced they were unable to make any key-cards due to computer problems. He said he would let us into the room but we'd have to either prop the door open or come get him each time we wanted in. He said should be fixed in an hour or two. He apologized. Two hours later, still no key. Next morning, still no key. Started a chat with the person on the self-serve kiosk. No key, then the kiosk went dead. And anyone that check in that evening did not get a key. The good news, there was one very attentive staff member who let folks into rooms as needed. We honestly felt like she was the only staff person working and manning the front desk was not her primary job. A very frustrating stay.

Next to last stop on a 6 state midwest tour, very nice hotel, comfortable beds, comfortable pillows. Breakfast was tasty and well stocked. Coffee was yummy. Place was well maintained and we didn't have any issues. Staff was friendly and offered first rate service .

I was a bit concerned after reading a few of the previous reviews. The desk clerk was very friendly. We immediately felt welcome. Requested a quiet room and she placed us on the third floor so we didn't have anyone above us. Room was very clean. Internet was a bit intermittent. Quiet night Breakfast the next morning was wonderful, lots of variety, staff memeber kept it well replentished and was friendly. Check out kiosk (first time I have used one.) worked very well. Requested receipt and it was sent to my email prompty. Main complaint was that the pool, hot tub and laundry facilities are not functioning. Hopefully that will all be rectified in the upcoming renovation.

This hotel is awful. There is never anyone at the desk, the pool and laundry are closed (which was the reason we booked this over others), the carpet has holes and is sticky, and all of the rooms on the 3rd floor have fruit flies apparently because of another guest who had an extended stay and was a slob. (I asked about it). The breakfast and housekeeping staff is the only reason I'm even giving it two stars.

I needed a place to stay overnight in Fort Wayne while on a road trip. This fit the bill quite nicely. The room was clean and I had no issues with anything in it. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again should I ever find myself in Fort Wayne overnight again.

Don't stay here until they substantially upgrade the property. We did not have a hair dryer in the room, the carpet was sticky and the furniture was insufficient. Staff was very nice, but they cannot overcome the shabbiness of the property.

Pee was around the toilet. There was no towels in my room. There was a shortage & I had to wait 4 hours to take a shower. Pool water was gritty. room had an oder. Best part about the stay was breakfast. That's all.

Poor upkeep of property. broken handles on furniture. Missing remote to TV and when we called the front desk delivered one to the wrong room. Bathroom sink did not drain. ice bucket was sticky. Not clean. Outdated. Would not stay here again. Over priced for the service and quality of this room.

1. The website said there is daily housekeeping. When we checked in there was a sign in the elevator that they only do housekeeping if you stay longer than 3 days. 2. The website said there is laundry. There was a sign on the laundry room door that there wasn't. It had obviously been there a while and directed you to a local laundromat. 3. There isn't a human working the front desk during the day. There is a kiosk that connects you to a person. It doesn't work reliably or quickly. Also, the kiosk can't help you with a) clean towels and other things one expects from the advertised housekeeper b) the broken ironing board c) the promised hot coffee all day that has gone cold 4. The breakfast is powdered eggs which are gross. 5. The internet is terrible. Forget about getting anything done, it keeps stopping. If it was slow in the evening when everyone was using it I would understand, but it was terrible at times when no one was in the hotel.

Hotel is in a great location, lots of places to eat. Suites are very roomy, Make sure if room not clean when check in let them know as soon as possible. Small pool but a place to cool off if needed. Overall its an okay place to stay.

This place is always clean, Ms Kim and Ms Angie are great people that shows nothing but love and hospitality! They always say good morning and crack jokes! The breakfast is always good, with fresh eggs, and orange juice!

This location was pretty gross. In our hotel room the carpet was all snagged, like a dog had been digging at the carpet or something. The tv stand looked like someone had beat it repeatedly with a hammed. Hot tub didn't work and neither did the washer/dryers, which is irritating when you're staying because of a local basketball tournament.

The rooms smelled of cigarette smoke, mildew, and cologne. There were 2 long strands of hair stuck to the toilet. The phone and tv did not work. There were lights that were out. There were receipts left by previous guests. There were stains on the sheets of the pull-out couch. There were crumbs on the carpet and the carpet was in very poor condition. Management would not come look at the room. There were not enough towels in the room. The hot tub is closed and there were no towels in the pool area.

Was pleasantly surprised to walk in the front door to see a Beautiful Open staircase, kind of a chalet feel. Rooms were large and very clean. Staff was warm and Friendly. did not use the pool but indoor and looked well maintained

Great location for shopping and dining. Hotel is extremely clean and tidy. King bed was excellent and everything in the room worked perfectly. The TV was OK but no premium channels. The parking was good but some trash in the lot when I checked in but it was quickly removed. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is a good stay for the value and I will be staying there next time.

When booking this hotel they claim to have a pool which is why we chose it over cheaper hotels - unfortunately pool Was closed and appeared to have been for some time. Additionally the rooms were dirty, dead flies left in window sills, mildew stains in the tub, crumbs in carpet . The heater also had a musty smell. To make matters worse getting into the parking lot is a logistical nightmare

We live in Fort Wayne and ran into a heating issue with our new home construction. We needed a place to stay for the night so we chose this location since it's actually close to our new home. We had a great experience from the minute we walked in the door. One of the dresser drawers in our room kept opening slowly by itself so we kidded with Kimmie at the front desk that the room was haunted. She offered to move us but we said it's no big deal, it's for one night and we get to tell people we stayed in a “haunted” room. We appreciated her offer of another room though.

This hotel is fine for a quick stop. The staff is very friendly & the hotel was well decorated for Halloween. The carpets are musty & the paint failing, but everything else is clean. The breakfast is adequate for eating in or on the go.

We have enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but there are things that are no-brainer. Broken Fountain in the yard in JULY 2022 and STILL broken and laying in the parking lot in SEPT 2022. Broken security door on North side of hotel should have been fixed with a 3-day period - there is NO excuse for something like this. This hotel checked us in for a 3-night stay on Thursday, checked us out on Friday without contacting us first. From Friday to Sunday we had to get new room cards ALL THREE DAYS. Other things - the laundry room was "Out of Service", breakfast ends at 10am (their policy, but my opinion is to extend it till at least 11am. Little stuff in the room - dresser draw would not stay closed (this is the 2nd room we've had where the drawer did this!). Also, the outlets on the bed head wall need replacing as the plugs will not stay in the sockets because they are WORN and LOOSE (this is unacceptable for me because my CPAP wouldn't stay plugged in, and there was no other outlet to use near the bed). And my biggest pet peeve is that EVERY room I've stayed in at this hotel have these stupid arced shower rods that are falling off the wall, AND make showering a pain to keep water IN the tub (who designed this stupid crap?).

Very good location with easy access to many other businesses. Room rate was good for amenities offered. Hot tub was currently closed so call before booking if that is a must have for your stay. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is AWFUL!! It's dirty and you have to request to have your room cleaned the night before. Don't even bother to put the card on the door because they don't use them! Don't look behind the bed before you go to sleep, you will have nightmares galore! Bring your own coffee cup downstairs too, they run out! Staff was mostly nice but the manger was rude beyond belief!! STAY AWAY!!

The shining star of this review is the friendliness and commitment of each staff member in making sure my stay was a pleasant one. I was impressed with their commitment to excellence and how they expressed they had a family atmosphere with each other

This hotel is located in a good area. As you have access to a variety of restaurants within walking distance. There is also a Meijer and Sam's Club within walking distance. However, many of the staff members that I encountered were not friendly and some of them acted prejudice. They seemed to be annoyed anytime I had simple questions. The internet service was poor, the room telephone was broken, the tub stopper was broken, and the light in the room did not work. Someone stole my daughter's shorts out of the pool room, and the jacuzzi was not available, and taped off with caution tape. The breakfast was good, and there were a variety of selections to choose from. Breakfast was offered for a good time 7AM-10AM. For the price of the rooms, the services did not match at all. The hotel is more like a Motel 6 or 8. I would not recommend staying there based on the services by the staff, but I would stay here for location and the breakfast availability.

we were pleased with our room, all of the hotel staff and the location. It is obviously in line for a make-over. The desk/dressers were missing handles, the towels were a bit worn (but CLEAN) and just a few things around the room that could use some perking up. The drain in the bathroom sink was plugged and drained very slow. We shared the information with the front desk but since we were leaving the next morning we didn't want to bother them to get someone to come fix it at that time. I LOVED the fact that this hotel had ample plug receptacles throughout!! We could actually plug in all of our technology without having to stretch cords around the room. The internet was slow most of the time. I ended up using my own Hot Spot because the wifi would drop suddenly. Overall, We would definitely stay here again - even with the few 'issues' that we faced.

This hotel is dark, worn out, smells of old. Desk personnel were nice, but properly was disgusting. Even the furniture in our room was rickety. There was mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. There was also stains on the bed coverings. One of the worst hotels we've seen.

After reserving my room using the Best Western website using my credit card, the hotel was still unable to have my room available when we arrived. There were five of us expecting a suite, but instead we were crammed into a standard room with a roll-away bed wedged in. They had no blankets to offer with the roll-away bed, though, just some sheets (they said they didn't have any blankets). The bathtub/shower fixtures were barely attached to the wall, and the water almost could not be shut off. Thankfully the staff were kind and the breakfast area was clean and the food good. The staff said they are planning a remodel, so maybe in the future the shabby room conditions will change. That won't be enough to bring me back, though.

Devon the General Manager deserves a raise. The building itself is old and furnishings are dated but it is CLEAN. I can tell how much care he puts into his team and strives to make everyone happy. It's admirable to see. I heard one of his employees call him the best boss ever. That almost made ME cry. You're in good hands if you stay here

The shower curtain had been neglected long enough for the entire bottom to be covered in mold. Large burn holes in comforter and when addressed with staff I was given a cover for the curtain and told to cover it “if I wanted to”

We attended the wedding of our niece here in Ft Wayne. We chose this hotel over the ones we normally stay at here due to the closeness to the reception venue. On check in we found no one at the front desk. We could hear voices coming from the back but we waited for about 6-7 min before anyone came out to check us in. After getting the keys to our rooms some in our party found their rooms were not ready even though it was after the stated 3PM check in time. They explained they were short staffed. The rooms were clean, but needed an update to the décor. My room was a king suite which was large enough for my wife and me. It had a sitting area with tv and couch (sofa sleeper), and table. Bed area also had a tv and a desk area. The bed was the major issue for us. It was hard as a rock with lumpy areas in places. Plus the pillows (2 each) were tiny and non supportive in any way. Also the cover on the bed was very thin and provided little warm or comfort. .My wife and I found it impossible to get much rest. We were glad it was a 1 night stay. My wife went down for the breakfast and said it was pretty good and that she felt like that was the best part of staying at this hotel. Over all we felt the place was average at best. We would not consider it the next time we are in town.

The staff was very friendly, and our hotel room was clean. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. All my friends and family liked this hotel. Thank you Best Western Plus for a great stay.

Great Stay. Would recommend to anyone. Value was great. Every employee exceeded expectations. Pool is down for maintenance but the employees are eager for upcoming Renovations. Was given lots of helpful info for what's around to do

I think they used to call old-fashioned "stay over" places where one could rest for 3-4 days on a long journey tourist hotels. This place reminds me of those. SPACIOUS two-room suites with plenty or space for separate desk/office in one area, and rest or TV watching in another area. This isn't a new property, but the room was well maintained and nicely arranged.

A king suite with pictures that was online that I booked was not even close to the room that I got at the hotel and was told that room does not exist like the pictures promise very misleading. Very disappointing

The hotel was a bit outdated and could use some freshening up. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the rooms needed more attention to them. One room reeked of smoke and it was supposed to be a non smoking room. The bed wasn't well made either. We were transferred to another room and it had a stale smell. We made the best of it because we were only staying one night.

They say you get what you pay for, but even at $98.00 a night, we were robbed. If this is Plus, I shudder imagining what a standard Best Western is providing. On our way to the room, we saw a big closed sign on the pool. Bummer. I first thought it was possibly a covid precaution. Then seeing not a mask insight by any employees, I understood that wasn't the case. When we first walked in the room, we noticed the drawers were taped shut. When I peeled back a piece, the drawers flew out, and stayed out. Luckily, the inhaler a previous guest left near the bed was still there, so we used that to jam under the drawers. Problem solved. I immediately got a stuffy nose. A tug at the curtains revealed a nice patch of black mold. When the three of us went to take our turns for a shower, we noticed there were only two sets of towels. The first freshly showered person went to ask for another towel, only to learn you can only get a new towel if you hand over the old one. Two beds means two towels apparently. The room was hot so when we attempted to change the temp, we found the settings were freeze or fry, and nothing in between. Time to relax with a little wordle and some internet browsing. Oops. No wifi. The whole weekend we weren't able to access the “free” wifi. Lucky it's the beginning of the month so my teens data is as fresh as his flow. Last day, we made it out with only these “minor inconveniences”. Then on our way up to the room we were greeted at the elevator by a worker who took it upon herself to try and discipline our kids and yell at them for something that involved them messing with a non locked piece of equipment that along with that and loads of other things would have the entire place shut down by a building code inspector. **I will also add there were a handful of ladies that were very friendly and helpful. Both check in and check out experiences were nice.

This place was the dirtiest, broken, falling apart, and unsafe place. The front desk said, “ there is a chemical imbalance in the pool. It will literally eat your skin off. The pool is closed.” My pillow was broken up foam. The springs in the matter was you could hear. Holes in the wall, filth in the washrooms. This hotel has not been loved. Best Western in reviews keeps apologizing and say they will look into it. I had faith.. they don't care. This hotel is standing by a string.

Very poor maintenance of room. Staff was friendly. Lighting was in poor repair. Stains on furniture. Tables had large chips missing from them. Jacuzzi tub was missing tiles. Shower water pressure was weak.

Check in was an easy task. Check out was horrible!! There was a note at the desk to contact the hotels phone number if we needed help. We called this number multiple times and let it ring and ring without any answer. We eventually left a note with my phone number and my email so that they could contact us because we needed a receipt. I was never contacted. We also called the general manager of this hotel and never received a phone call back from him or anyone. It was not the best experience.

Kristen at the front desk was very personable and friendly with offering me the best deals for the room we wanted. She went out of her way to help us use different rate codes. She explained things around Fort Wayne that would be fun to our family and she spoke with us on a first name basis whenever we ran into each other afterwards. EXCELLENT EMPLOYEE!!! She definitely made this experience more personable and comfortable from the jump.

Hotel is dated. Room was disgusting. Furniture had been chewed on. Pull out sofa mattress had stains. King bed had a dead bug & nits, hair and a used napkin in it. Requested a 2nd room. 2nd room also gross. pull out sheet was covered in debri. Furniture was in better condition but also dinged up. Floors were gross. . We got a refund and left.

This hotel may of been a PLUS hotel in past, going by decor, but definitely not now. The carpets on stairway off of lobby were always dirty. Chair in my room all the vinyl was coming off and there was a stain on the seat of couch so didn't use. When you did see an employee they were very nice which is why this is a 2 not a 1. My rating is based on comparing this to 2 other PLUS hotels I stayed at after this one.

The desk clerk was very unprofessional, large hole in her shirt the size of a half dollar. She did not complete our check in properly. The desk chair in the room had no material on it. This is the worst BW i have ever been to. I would suggest some where else. Management did not call me as they were suppose to. I am a veteran and diamond class rewards with BW. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Sorry to say I passed up a Hilton property stay at roughly the same price for a very disappointing Best Western PLUS stay on a recent visit to Fort Wayne. Room wasn't clean, nor appointed well. Staff needed prodding- 3 requests for a hair dryer, treadmill equipment was malfunctioning and 3 staff members didn't seem to care; breakfast offering was abysmal and certainly not what was promised on the reservation. Rethinking already booked future Best Western reservations.

This is an older hotel that employees unprofessional staff. Our room seemed clean except for not having toilet paper and coffee. The coffee maker had not been cleaned either and the toilet ran non-stop. Their website read full breakfast included but only a muffin and coffee were served. Profanity was used at the front desk and overheard by several customers. Someone was allowed to pull the fire alarm which resulted in an evacuation through the night. I do not recommend this hotel.

Went to check in on 10/8/21 and was told they did not have a room available because the cleaning staff had not come in that day. While I was still in the lobby, two other customers with reservations were likewise turned away. No offer of any kind of compensation other than to refund our pre-payment, however they never notified Hotels.com (who we booked and paid through), that they had canceled our reservation. I was able to get Hotels.com to refund our payment after calling them myself, but was very disappointed that hotel management left us without a room and didn't make any effort to make it right, or even make sure we got our money back.

This is my first stay at a best Western and it may very well be my last. The lobby is beautiful. There are no evident Covid safety policies currently in place (no masks, still offering full breakfasts, etc), despite being on Trip Advisor's safe list. This is extremely important to me, as an immuno compromised individual. The bathroom smells like mildew. When I turned on the water to take a shower, the water didn't even look clear, it looked a slight shade of brown! There is a plunger ready and waiting by the toilet which says a lot. And the pool looks dirty.

We stayed for 4 nights. The night before we checked out front desk called the room at 1:30 am and said we owed more money. We had stopped earlier in the day just to check everything was paid up because we planned to leave early in the morning. Unless my room is on fire do not call me at 1:30 am. We did not owe any money. Mirrors in room were dirty, lots of candy in the air conditioner, dog food on the floor and we did not have a dog. Hot tub is empty. The first two days the breakfast was not good. The last two it was much better. Coffee and tea in lobby was always cold or empty and no sugar or creamer. It was nicely decorated for Halloween.

This hotel was a pit stop of us on the way to Ohio. The outside decor and the lobby was just beautiful, set up for Halloween, we commented while waiting it was beautiful. This is where everything good about this place stops. The lady at the front desk on her phone talking to her husband, never said or gave us anything for being Diamond members, the room was dirty and didn't look like it was cleaned before we got there. The three ladies in the morning were just looking at something on the computer laughing and didn't really acknowledge me and my wife leaving. Just an extremely poor customer service hotel.

Stayed in a suite and EVERYTHING was old and worn out. I would not stay here again! I'm surprised that a Best Western would offer rooms in this condition. It was probably clean but felt dirty since everything was old. Ripped carpet, couch terrible condition, jacuzzi had looked dirty but was just stained from being so old.

Easy to get to right off the highway. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the whole property is very clean and neat, pool looks very inviting, love having a fridge in room we are very happy with our experience

We lost power to our home for a week and needed to stay in a hotel. We choose this Best Western. Since we did not know how long our power would be out we needed a day by day stay. The manager told us this would be no problem. Half way through the stay we were require to switch rooms. Not a big problem for us. We were told the rate would be the same. When we checked out a different manager told us this was not the case. We where charged much higher rates for some days. They did not honor your commitment to us. Bait and switch. The new room was not clean. There were dirty q-tips in the shower ... gross. They refused to clean our room. We didn't expect every day, but new towels every few days would be nice. They would not even replace towels. The TV service is crap. The second room had 2 TVs, but they didn't even get the same channels. There are lots of hotels in Fort Wayne. Don't stay here.

We thought this hotel would be nice and worth the money for it, but was wrong. The room wasn't like the pictures really. Wi-Fi was terrible, the beds are hard to sleep on for some, and just wasn't worth the trip. We went to a different hotel a month ago and it was much nicer and cheaper than this. Staff was alright but weren't at the front desk for the most part and had some difficulties checking in. The parking lot was ok, but we bumped the car into a pole trying to back out of there since it was pretty tight. Would only use this hotel if you absolutely need a place to be at.

Great location. The front desk help was good, quick check in/out. I'm self sufficient so I didn't need much. Internet and bed were good/clean. Bathroom was pretty clean, just a few spots. I'd stay there again.

We booked a reservation last minute so we could leave for vacation a day early. Traveling with 4 teens so needed a joining rooms. Staff was great about accommodating. We arrived about 1 am. As soon as we got to the room there was a bug crawling on the curtain. Not a good start. About 5 minutes later my daughter told me to look at the bed because there was a condom under the pillow. (Imagine a moms face hearing this from a 13 year old girl). She was not wrong. There was. Absolutely disgusting! The staff again was great and apologized and cleaned/changed the bedding. Went into the bathroom to find dirty wash rags in the shower. The room was obviously not cleaned. Unfortunately changing rooms/hotels was bit an option so late. No other adjoining rooms were available. The tables in the breakfast area all dirty. Food was cold and blah. Again check out staff nice and listened to our concerns. Management/owner was rude and did not comp us the dirty room. Told us he would us $25 off of a $125 room. That was a slap in the face. Then when we said we would be sure to write a review he told us he wasn't going to give us the $25 off if we did. Absolutely terrible way to do business! I'll be contacting corporate as well. Would NOT recommend this hotel

When we arrived there was one person in front of us. The clerk couldn't find the reservation and seemed to be poorly trained. The lobby area was in need of vacuuming. The hall way was unvacuumed it was after 4:00. After we checked in we went to our room to discover a poorly made bed. I said wow that beds a hot mess. Then i went into the bathroom and it was dirty and the room had not be vacuumed. There was still food in the refrigerator and crumbs all over the counter. We reported this to the clerk and she seemed like oh well. She stated we don't clean rooms for guest that stay more than one night. This was the same girl that checked us in less than 10 minutes earlier. We had to ask them to clean the room or give a new room. No sorry for the inconvenience .

the hotel is well out of date, and it is in a not so good area, it is basically for people who need somewhere to stay for a long period of time like a home. The smell is very awful, it smell just like mold, the floors are just like walking on a water bed which is not safe, they are very weak, the room was so old and nasty, I could not believe they really thought that me and my family was about to stay here, I never seen a Best western look like this before and we have stayed in plenty, over all I got my full refund back with no problem.

Room smelled TERRIBLE of smoke (supposed to be a nonsmoking room). Bathroom wreaked of mold/mildew. Tile around jacuzzi was falling off, jacuzzi had a film around it, curtains had a mysterious brown stain (we def hoped it was mud, but no one investigated), only one wash cloth left in room, and mirrors were filthy. We called to report, and no one answered front desk phone. Never returning.

I've stayed at this particular Best Western several times now and I've always found it to be a nice place with friendly staff. It's priced right for my budget and the rooms are always clean and generally well maintained.

Spent a night at this hotel while traveling to Nashville. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, but it was all downhill from there. Arrived at 8:00 pm and the room we reserved was not made up—okay,accidents happen. Moved us to a new room where the bedding smelled TERRIBLE—mold and mildew! Slept —very little—on clothes and towels to avoid touching bedding. In the morning hair and night clothes reeked. At breakfast the sandwiches were hard as rock and the milk was frozen solid. Repeated attempts to contact management during and after stay got no response. NEVER AGAIN—bye Best Western!

The room had rust all over the outlets and the bathroom. The toilet slid slid every time and would pinch my leg and nobody was willing to help. Every time we were in the lobby the guy behind the counter was on his cell phone arguing with his girl friend.

Upon arriving door to our room was open .smelled like somone just was smoking in room. stains on sheets splatter on walls furniture broken .so asked for a different room. Whole place smelled of weed .they put us in 312 ,sheets full of pubes,and stains ,look like the sheets were just flipped over .splatter on walls and curtains , hookers fighting in the hall ways slamming doors .little to no water pressure, its was like somthing u can find in a horror movie.stayed for about a hr while finding another place to stay .upon leaving gave male night attendent my key cards and complained .went to the wydam gardens across the street ,and it was like a hotel is supposed to be clean sheets smelled clean like they were actually washed .it was nice like a hotel is supposed to be .woke up the next morning to an additional 83 dollar charge on my account even though room was paid for already .called there to speak with a rude receptionist. Who said she knew about the situation and i would have to speak with the gm .if your looking for a place to find a escort or score drugs this is your place .if your looking for a place to sleep thats clean, safe and quiet keep looking give this place a -10 .please read the other reviews , as i know im not the only one who has experienced this .this is the first time i ever wrote a review period. I'm not really sure what to say in here. I guess I wish the room was more cleaner and prepared. Did not have toilet paper and it looked like the floor had not been vacuumed. The staff was nice though.

For the price we paid for the room, we thought it would have been kept up better. The curtain was broken, the drain wasnt working properly in the bathroom sink, the couch had stains on the cushions, we only had 1 towel for the 6 people in the suite and we had to ask for sheets for the pull out couch. Regular maintenance need in the room.

This hotel is always clean and the professional staff is always ready to make your stay here the best. It starts with the easy check-in, professional staff and the speedy check-out. Everything about this place says "relax" ! Brittany will make your stay pleasant and immediately take care of any concerns you may have. I stay here more than 40 night per year and they are consistently at the top for price, cleanliness and professionalism.

If you want to stay in a Hotel where the sheets are not clean (yes we used a black light and the sheets were not clean!!!) and dog food was on the floor! The room smelled of dog pee and smoke and all of my belongings I brought into the room now smell of smoke. The front desk lady gave another guest a hotel key to the wrong room and we witnessed an argument ensue between the individuals. Worst experience I've had with best western by far !

While my room and the appearance of the hotel were clean, no employees wore a mask during my stay, in the middle of this global pandemic. It definitely made me incredibly anxious to know that staff did not wear a mask while cleaning my room prior to my arrival. I do not recommend staying at this hotel if you find yourself having to travel during this pandemic.

I use to stay at hotels all the time when I was on the road working and had some bad experiences, this experience however was very different. All thanks to night shift Shania. She went above and beyond to make our one night stay amazing. ♡

We got into the hotel very late driving from Michigan back to Kentucky. For 1 night then waking up and checking out we had no issues. We even found use for the desk in the room for our children to do their online schooling at in the morning.

The rooms were old, fixtures needed updated, no charging outlets, pool and hot tub closed but didn't say that on website, was told breakfast ended at 10, came down at 9:30 and was told it ended at 9. I reserved a suite for 5 and only had 2 towels and no bedding for the sofa bed.

The room was filthy and not well maintained. I have short brown hair and found a long red hair in the bath towels, the travel conditioner they provide was half empty. The toilet had "skid marks" for lack of a better term, and various parts of the room needed serious maintenance repairs. $80/night for this? Unacceptable.

Arrived with our volleyball team. Was given 3 rooms before I received one that was somewhat clean. We decided to cancel our reservation. Some team members stayed their. They doors did not lock. They had bloody sheet and some had no sheets at all. There was a creepy man in a clown mask walking round and coming up to the girls. Also it smelled like pot smoke in the halls.

Came with team and found many surprises. Many rooms smell like smoke, and poor cleaning in and around the room. Our room had a big thing of hair in the corner of our shower that did not come from us. The toilet paper was almost gone from there, the floor was dirty, the towels far from clean, and the shower curtains had mildew Slow service at the hotel desk. I went to get toilet paper with two people ahead of me, and came back twenty minutes later. The people working were nice and friendly, but the service overall was not great. The TV took a very long time to turn on, and was not very updated. It took minutes for the remote to even power up. Switching the channel was along the same theme, taking more than enough time to turn. Many people from our group experienced much of the same. I would not stay here unless desperate. I would not recommend for a stay, long or short.

We came in late. At like 4 o'clock in the morning just wanted to go to bed. Had unpacked all of our stuff the room I received was not good. Bathtub had holes in it. Shower curtain rod was broken so we had to use thumb tacks to keep curtain from opening while showering.The floors creaked. good. There scratches on the bathroom door inside like somebody had a dog locked in there, also scratches on the dresser and the door front door look like it had been kicked in several times. I could have changed rooms but I'd already unpacked all my stuff, and I figured Since I actually didn't pay cash and I was using my rewards pointss I just stayed there and did my best with what I had the staff there is really friendly outside the hotel looks great I would recommend staying there just don't stay Room to 202

Not what we've come to expect from BW... there were no laundry bags in the rooms, coffee wasn't served, we had to ask for our breakfast bags to go. The room appeared dirty and not all of the miniature soaps etc. were present in the bathroom. The pool was ok... All in all it was an OK place to catch a quick nights sleep on the run.

Very nice hotel. Separate sitting room, bedroom. Well appointed. Good value for the price. Pool was overloaded with kids so I didn't use it. Close to highway so good spot for travellers. Went to Longhorn steakhouse on the other side of the highway. Also Cracker Barrel and IHOP are right next door.

Over all 9/10 stay. One point lost for room not being cleaned within the time we were out. Breakfast selection is good, rooms were clean on arrival, mini fridge in room with small freezer and a microwave.

The room smelled when I got In there, no toilet paper in the bathroom. Had to get it from housekeeping. Saturday I was disturbed by kids running in the hallway and up and down the stairs. It got my emotional support animal all worked up. I even asked the kids to stop and they got louder. Called the front desk 2 times and no one answered the phone. This went on till after 11 pm.

When we 1st arrived my husband waited 10 minutes at the front desk and no one would come. He came out to our vehicle to ask me to call the hotel. I call and get an answer so I tell them we are trying to check in and no one is at the front desk. I then see them coming from outside to the front desk. Next thing, we finally go to lay down for the evening around 11 p.m. my son pulls back his sheet only to discover blood on the comforter. GROSS! I check the other bed and I find stain on them as well. I call the front desk and tell them and I am told that they would send someone down to change them. I wait 15 minutes with 2 tired kids, then I call back. I am told now that it is in the dryer and I will get it as soon as it's done. Now 40 mins have gone by and nothing! I call back and ask when will it be done because now my daughter has fallen asleep on the floor, waiting for these new sheets. I am told that I could walk down to the front desk and get the sheet and change my own beds or I can wait till they aren't busy anymore. By this time I am furious. I walk down to the front desk. She hand me nothing but sheets and pillow cases. I told her I need comforters and am handed a blanket and told once they come out of the dryer she would bring them to me. So I leave and have to change my own sheets on both beds. At 12:34 a.m. there is a knock on my door and the lady hand me another blanket, not a comforter in sight. Also I found cereal behind the dresser while plugging in my phone. I do have pictures of the blood and cereal. The next morning I go to check and list my complaints and am told I'm sure we will give you a discount. I was offered a $45 discount. I told the lady no I want to speak to a manager. She said they are not here on the weekends and they would call me Monday. It is now Wednesday and I have not been contacted. This is the worse experience I have ever had in a hotel and will be sure to let others know.

Upon checkin the staff at the hotel was very friendly and we were happy with the size of the room; however things were not very clean and a lot of items needed repair. In our room the dresser was broken and a drawer was completely ripped out and just empty space where it should have been, there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, stains on the couch, leather on chair completely rubbed off, tile missing in the elevator, pool had hair all over in it like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile, bottom of pool was dirty and hot tub didn't make bubbles so you were basically sitting in a warm, dirty bath. The staff at breakfast was very nice and helpful and the food selection was good.

We have never stayed at a Best Western but the website looked nice so we thought we would try it. One of our rooms had cobwebs in the rooms and a missing drawer out of the dresser. The other room had plumbing parts to the bathroom sink just laying under the sink and when we went to get in bed I realized they never even put sheets on the bed over the mattress pad. They threw two flat sheets over it with no blankets. I went to the front desk and had to ask for a fitted sheet as well as blankets. They didn't seem shocked that it wasn't done, they shrugged there shoulders oh, but no apology I was just handed the sheets and she just turned around and continued her conversation with the other employee. I was not impressed at all and it was definitely a lesson learned. We will not ever stay in another Best Western.

Stayed 2 nights in the king suit with jacuzzi and fireplace. The mattress was worn down,netting above bed was ripped in a couple places. Staff was pleasant. Convent location to shopping and dinning. Room was clean.

Decided to give this place a chance after a bad experience at another hotel in town. Checked in before an event and room looked very clean, updated, and comfy. Atmosphere was quiet. We opened our refrigerator later to find old milk and sauce in there. Not a deal breaker but cleaning staff needs to be more thorough. Went down for breakfast and it was a hot mess. The paper plates were gone. No napkins, very little food left, and it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in hours. The staff member Rayshawn (not sure of spelling) was very apologetic and accommodating about the situation and explained that they are in transition with breakfast staff and management. We used the pool which was clean and fun. Highlight for my 3 yr old. Overall this is a beautiful hotel with an affordable rate- just some minor issues. I am willing to give it a chance if we return to this annual event in Ft. wayne

We travel to Canada regularly to visit family. Always stay at BWP. Here in the states the same. This was the first bad experience. Our room smelled of cigarettes and animal urine. They did change our room. The front desk was uninviting compared to all others we have stayed at. Floors were dirty. The complimentary coffee, lol!! It should have said "Beware" It was filthy and the garbage can next to it, filthier. There were to be cookies next to it and you dared to touch the cookie holder. There was an empty basket on the check-in counter that was to hold mints. The employee was apologetic and when I shared my shock and disappointment of this experience, she was more apologetic and explained they are getting new management and thought it was local and district. I told her I hoped they would. It was embarrassing to bring my daughter and two granddaughters to this hotel and change rooms. We were first placed in room 121, right next to an outside exit door. No wonder we smelled animal urine and cigarettes! Even throughout the first floor, you could smell people smoking in rooms. All we were told was they have a problem with that. I still believe in the professionalism and excellent experiences we have had in Ohio and Canada. Hoping its not a Fort Wayne issue. However, we won't stay at this BWP again and will share the same with friends and family. Hopefully, management will manage. It starts at the top!

I refuse to stay in this particular hotel ever again. I would rather sleep in my car. Beds are bricks. You better have a strong stomach for breakfast. Employees trat customers as they are intreupting there life. Condoms floating in hot tub. Hope i didnt bring any bugs home would be the best thing to happen here.

My family had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western plus hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast selection was good. We enjoyed the hot tub & pool. The rooms were nice and clean as well!

Our hockey team booked this property for a tournament weekend. Everything that could have gone wrong did. Room keys were given to other incoming guests of existing rooms of our team. So while in their room, one family had another guest open the door with a key given by front desk. Towels were ripped and dirty and stained. One family went to get towels as there were none in the room, and was given wet towels... Bedding had stains all over. We had booked the breakfast room for a team dinner and it was double booked by an Avon group who were not even guests at the hotel. And hotel staff did not remove them and let them stay. Instead gave us a small meeting room to house a full pasta meal for our 18 skaters and families so the kids had to spread out all over the lobby area and hallways. The Avon group could have fit in the meeting room. No sense of security and no presence at the front desk during low traffic hours. Random people seemed to enter during the night. The breakfast room manager threatened one of our parents and tried to kick her out of breakfast because she was sharing her room experience with her own family in a conversational voice. This employee was overheard by one of our skaters to say "I will kick her @#$%#$$ @#$". This is only a few of the more serious complaints that our team experienced all weekend. We would have moved had there been availability at another hotel but because it was a tournament weekend, we had no luck.

Typically beds are comfortable and the breakfasts are good. This stay our room's bed reeked of urine & the drawer had underwear & socks in it. They gave us a new room but the experience was disappointing.

Second bed had soiled sheet, bathroom issues. Outside of motel was very clean and front desk personnel we nice. Advise people to check room as soon as you check in. Noise level was great as there was some hockey teams staying there the same night and we could not here them.

Fort Wayne Has 2 Best Western's there. This one how ever is so unorganized and dysfunctional. I will not be staying here again. I have been walked in on at 9:30 AM. I have been sent to dirty uncleaned at all rooms and accused of having an attitude when I never even spoke to then to let them know that the room they sent me to was dirty as they thought. Breakfast is ewww im just over them.

We had stayed at this hotel several times in past few years so this year we went, expecting a nice stay. The staff was sparse but very friendly! We were saddened to see how run down this property has become! When did they start letting it get so bad? Broken stuff: sofa bed collapsed on 1 corner, tv remote didn't work, overall room condition was ‘tired'....dirty walls, squeaky bedroom and bathroom doors, heater had a terrible odor(possibly from lollipop stick sitting on heating element?), only had 1/2 a roll of tp, carpet felt damp. The pool was dirty, hot tub had crud floating in it, had to go to desk for pool towels, I sat on a chair that almost tipped when I sat down because it was broken. At checkout time I grabbed the only available luggage cart and found it had a flat tire! A sweet housekeeping lady had to help me push it while I held the flat side up. We won't go back unless they put a little money in to upkeep!

The front desk lady was great and that was the only part that was. The lobby and room is dirty, the showers don't work, the breakfast is terrible, they had no extra pillows, they got my reservation wrong....

Our room had not been cleaned so we were upgraded to a suite. Although we appreciated the upgrade, the room was not clean. Countertops and nightstands were sticky and had not been wiped off. The floors were not vacuumed at all. There was a pile of clipped toenails on one side of the bed! Gross! The bathroom floor was sticky with a black substance that had not been mopped. Not at all the nicest room we've ever stayed in. Will not be staying at this property again.

My stay here, as usual, was great and effortless. I called to reserve a room and Brittany took care of everything else. Check-in and check-out was very easy. Rooms and beds are always clean and comfortable. Convenient location! This is my go to hotel about 90 nights a year!

Clean rooms, attractive hotel, comfortable beds. GREAT breakfast, 12 people ranging in age from 7-70, different dietary needs, and all could find a good breakfast. We won't hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Got to the hotel and didn't feel totally comfortable in the room. Then I found a plastic bag of dog food on the floor. I am allergic to dogs and also the floor in the bathroom was sticky to walk on and the counter was not clean. They assigned me to another room and when I went to check that one out there were big stains on the couch/sofabed, the toilet wasn't flushed and the bureau had broken drawers just hanging there! Went back to the counter and they gave us an upgrade that was finally acceptable. Unfortunately the discount I was promised for my "inconvenience" was never put on my bill. The desk clerk, Prisella, was the only bright part of the stay.

I wish I could give this hotel a negative rating. Worst experience ever!!! I believe an adult film was being filmed while we stayed there with our soccer team and their parents. This place is disgusting. Do not stay here!!

My husband, four year old daughter, and I stayed here on our way to Hershey, PA. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the room was clean, and check in was smooth. We didn't have time to use the pool, but it looked nice. We'd stay here again.

The walls are thin as paper, the hotel is old and worn out. The staff barely helpful and one of my employee who stayed there with me had a bug in her bed. Avoid. At some point, the saving is not worth the assle.

My room had mold in it which I am allergic to. I got sick from it. When I spoke to the staff, they didn't appear to care. I love staying at BW, but would not recommend this one at all. It needs to be completely renovated.

Comfortable room and beds. A few bathroom cleanliness issues were quickly resolved. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is typical hotel breakfast but it's nice to have. I would stay here again.

Prostitution and drug ring went down at this location. No manager did anything about it! Police showed up and arrested all parties. Check out Ft Wayne's police arrest page for July 29th at 1130 pm. Kids there for a tournament.

Great quality rooms for an amazing price. Service was excellent, everything was very clean and being from out of town I felt very safe. Pretty good location as well. Very comfortable large beds and a quiet area for a good nights sleep.

Already posted this, but this Best Western was conveniently located, great value for the cost, the staff was totally accommodating, check in and out fast. A couple things were taken care of immediately, breakfast provided with welcoming preparation. Would definitely stay on my next trip.

I don't care how old or dated hotel furnishings get, but I do care about cleanliness. This Best Western was very clean and comfortable, and I recommend it to anyone visiting Fort Wayne. We were there for a basketball tournament and this location is close to 3 field houses (at least). Best value for the price by far.

Very outdated and in poor repair. I booked whirlpool suite expecting some level of quality. Whirlpool worked (rubber stopper for drain). Bed had bizarre canopy with drapes that looked filthy. The ONLY hanging space was a joke - narrow and half the normal depth and curtain for a door. No sofa, chipped table. ‘Fireplace' looked like something out of Walmart. Carpet long overdue for replacement. I arrived very early and asked if I could use a dining room table for my laptop - ‘yes, but check-in is at 3:00'. Housekeeper was listening to audio book - without an earpiece. She was upstairs but I could hear it in the lobby. Pool is closed. Whiteboard in dining area announced ‘scrambled eggs, sausage & bacon' - nope!

Rooms were not cleaned,bad smell in rooms, not aired, dust on the furniture, light did not work in room – bulb changed only next day, plastic cutlery for breakfast - it is really very unusual in a hotel of this type.

I booked one night at this location for my team and I, and we found it very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The building seemed to be rather new and I discovered it had been renovated about 3 years ago when the building became a Best Western. We had the breakfast in the morning, which I thought was very good. It was hot and fresh. AND the coffee was actually really good! I recommend this location if you are in the Fort Wayne area for any reason.

Very dated property. Needs renovation and a good cleaning. Not impressed. I did like the location. Attended Paul McCartney concert and was back to motel 20 minutes after concert. Lots of other motel choices in this area.

I enjoy staying at Best Western hotels because each one has a personality. It's not like going to a cookie-cutter Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. My very comfortable suite cost less than $100.00 for the night (after I got an unexpected rebate from Best Western). The only problem with the room was that the television in front of the beds didn't work. Happily, the one in front of the comfortable sofa did.

My girlfriend and I got stuck In Chicago and almost missed our check in day. Caitlin helped us a ton getting rebooked and comfortable in our rooms! I really feel like she went above and beyond the call of duty for us. I think you guys are super lucky to have her! We travel a lot around the country and I'd say we are definitely impressed with Caitlin's customer service! Take care and God bless!

I was traveling through Fort Wayne recently with my family and had anticipated a pleasant stay in a well-rated hotel. Our stay did not meet expectations. When we arrived, there was a note on the front desk that stated the pool and hot tub were closed due to maintenance issues. One of the key reasons we chose this hotel was because my children thoroughly enjoy swimming. When we entered our room, it was apparent that very little care has been invested in accommodations. Sloppy touch up paint was frequent, outlet covers were missing, and one outlet had the wiring completely exposed. The common areas desperately needed vacuuming as there were food crumbs everywhere. At breakfast, there was a sign stating they had run out of milk, and there was no oatmeal (even though toppings were available) or yogurt. We were glad to end our trip and return home.

We utilized this hotel for an overnight stay to see a show at the Coliseum. Very nice and included a cooked breakfast. The Jacuzzi tub was in the living room which seemed odd but we were not there long enough to use it. Closet in the entry hall but for one night not a problem. Courteous staff. Great location to uber to the coliseum although we later found out we could have driven to the Kroger and almost walked into the venue from there. Great value for money.

We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was awesome, so I was really looking forward to the stay. On arrival, the facility had deteriorated significantly in the last 3 years. The rooms seemed a little rough with dings i the paint, etc., and the wall plug for the clock/radio must have had a short in it... the clock would only work if the plug was in the outlet just so. Hot tub was cold... maybe 75 degrees. Desk clerk said it had just been been filled and wasn't heated yet. However, the next morning, maintenance guy said it had not been operational for weeks. This is a critical amenity for us; as we both have severe arthritis and a prescription hot tub at home. I really don't like that the desk clerk lied about it, leading us to believe it would be warm later. We would have stayed elsewhere had we known about it. On the plus side, breakfast was good with hot eggs, sausage & waffles... pretty standard fare for hot breakfast these days. We will most likely not be back.

Stayed here for a car show in Auburn, IN. Short 20-minute drive to Auburn. Hotel in great shape. Only minor issue was plumbing and maintenance not on duty. Convenient to restaurants, service stations, I-69, etc.

We recently stayed with a large group,and was impressed. Spacious, clean rooms. Fluffy beds, GREAT breakfast. Housekeeping staff did a wonderful job keeping up with all of our requests. Definitely coming back.

The Best Western "Plus" is not justified for this property for a couple of reasons. First it is showing a little age, with slow drains, poor water pressure, Coke machines that don't work, odd smells in the hallway, etc. But what I found most troubling was that when I reported some of these problems, no one acted on them--and I was there for three nights. Additionally, I received no maid service during that time, although there were maids in the hallways. I had to ask for replacement coffee, make my own bed, ask for towel replacements. The staff was always pleasant enough, but I left feeling like an unwanted guest who had invaded their home. The bed was comfortable. The TV worked. The toilet flushed. But where's the "Plus?"

I stayed here mid April...paid for 3 nights and was able to leave early so I did. I had not been gone from the hotel 10 minutes when I realized I left my running watch plugged in the wall of my room. I called and spoke to the night manager who assured me it would be mailed out the next day. I called when it didn't arrive in 5 days and left a message for the manager who was away from the front desk. I left another message at 8 and 12 days ...no response. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The carpets are filthy and the rooms are dark and dated. The pool and hot tub were closed due to mechanical issues. Best Western owes me $265 for my Garmin and should refund my 3rd night.

I usually don't review properties again if I return to them, but this experience warrants another review. Once again, my best friend and I chose this property to stay in while attending the Vera Bradley Outlet Sale in Fort Wayne. We got a great rate- $78/night with AAA-and after some deliberation based on our last experience, agreed to give this place a second chance. If anyone has read my last review, you will recall a check-in issue, lack of marketing cross-promotion and housekeeping issues. Check-In: Went much smoother than last time. The young man that helped us was friendly and efficient enough, but could not be distinguished as an employee-no name badge or uniform. There were no gift bags for Vera Bradley attendees like last year-only a coupon. Also, it appears that management has cleaned house, because none of the employees I remembered from the last visit were there-not even Mystery Manager Mike, whose name was torn from the plaque over the front desk. Room: We again stayed in Room 221 due to familiarity. However, the same issues that plagued the room the last time-flimsy toilet seat and tub, and a television that sounded like it was underwater-still existed. Also, the beds were not completely made one day-we found the sheets were pulled up but the pillows remained squashed. Also, the decorative throw cushions placed on the floor so we could sleep remained on the floor. Travel Brochures: Once again, the brochures were shoved in an out-of-the-way corner. Like last year, you can find out about every activity in Indy, western Ohio, southern Michigan and southern Indiana. Just don't expect any information about Fort Wayne, where you are staying, and you will be fine. Breakfast: Last year, the breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. This year, not so much. The waffle maker was never working; there was no fruit and yogurt available except for one day; and on one particular day, they ran out of milk. Yes, you read that right-NO MILK for breakfast. This could have been resolved by the manager sending an employee to Meijer, which is seconds away from the hotel, to pick up a couple of gallons to get through the day. What do they expect people to put in their cereal-half and half? I will end by saying that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Therefore, we will not be returning to this property should we decide to go again to Fort Wayne.

Absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The pool was broken our entire stay (5 nights) and there was no advanced notice. The bathtub was clogged and would fill when you took a shower. We tried calling down to the front desk to get it fixed but no one answered. We thought maybe they were busy and tried for 30 minutes. Eventually we gave up. The next day we walked downstairs and told them and they said they'd fix it but they never did. The shower also made a high pitched screeching sound when you took a shower. Three days in a row the maids did not come in and clean our room. The first night we figured maybe we had accidentally put up a do not clean sign (even though we were pretty sure we hadn't). The second day we made absolutely sure we didn't and they still didn't clean our room. When we asked for someone to come up (we called downstairs and they picked up when we called this time) and do it they said the maids were gone and they couldn't send anyone up but we could stop by the front desk if we wanted new towels (they couldn't bring them up to us). The person at the front desk told us they'd absolutely come the following day. We triple checked that the sign was off on the third day and also left early to give them plenty of time to clean. For the third day in a row they did not clean our room. Furniture was dirty and sticky when checking in, there was a press-on nail on the bathroom floor, and the room just needed a lot of repair. I would recommend no one ever stay here.

The hotel was very busy when we arrived. There were three people in front of me and only one employee. She was answering the phone and attempting to check people in, so the process took awhile, but it the employee was still pleasant and apologized for the wait. After opening the door to our room, we immediately smelled stale smoke. The bathroom and entryway smelled strongly of smoke. The bathroom smelled as if someone was smoking at that moment. I turned on the fan and it helped. The problem was that it was on a sensor and would turn off after a couple of minutes, filling the room back up with the smell of smoke. I always check the hotel beds. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I travel a lot and watch Dateline and those shows- you always see horror stories! So, it's my habit to examine the bedding. I'm glad I did, the bed had small dead bugs found on the sheets and in between the blanket and sheets. At first, I thought it was lint and brushed it away. Then I noticed there were several dots scattered throughout the sheets, and the more I oooked the more I found. I called the front desk and they were great. They changed our room to one with a king bed and foldout couch. We had reserved a room with two beds, so that meant two of us got to sleep on an awful sofa bed. The second room did not smell, nor were there bugs in the bed or found on the couch. This was the first time we have stayed at a Best Western. Needless to say. we were disappointed.

The breakfast was horrible, the main floor bathrooms were disgusting and unclean, and the pool was closed the entire duration of the stay. However, the most disturbing thing involved our fifteen year old daughter. She had mid-terms coming up, so I went down to the lobby to watch a game while she studied. My wife and I told her not to open the door to anyone but us. We had been bounced around the night before from room to room, and apparently, the night manager hadn't noted that we were in the room. Also, we discovered later that the hotel leaves the room door sunlocked until they are occupied by guests, and transients come into the rooms from time to time. This in itself seems extremely dangerous, as they leave newly arriving guests to find out whether some dangerous occupant is in their room. The general manager came up to our room, while my minor daughter was alone, and demanded that she open the door or she would call the police. She also refused to give my daughter the opportunity to call us first. I confronted them, and the GM asked for time to speak to the night manager to find out what happened. I reluctantly agreed. No attempt was made to provide us with an explanation until I was checking out, and was asked how my stay was. When I reiterated my complaints, the general manager came out from the back and started to offer a half-hearted explanation. I called the Best Western corporate customer service, and indicated what happened, and asked for a contact back. Again, no contact was forthcoming, and I had to call back to find out what the status was. I was told that the actions of the GM were "hotel policy" and nothing would be done (other than a breakfast reimbursement). If this is "hotel policy" I will be avoiding all Best Westerns in the future.

This is the only hotel I stay at when in Ft. Wayne. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful. I can't recommend it enough. Close to I69 and a short drive to every venue I needed to be at.

We have stayed here 2 different times with our hockey team and been very pleased. The staff is always extra friendly and very accommodating! On this visit a significant snow storm came through and the walks were kept as clear as they could given the wind. On the last visit their key system was down briefly and the extra amazing staff was running here and there getting people in their rooms with little to no delay. They really do go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible no matter what the day throws at them. Will be back here again next year I'm sure of it!

Horrible l service, dated, pool and hot tub has such a strong chemical odor that it actually burns your throat. Horrible place for family. Just returned from a play 8pm. Kids 6/7 did no more than raced to their door and the front desk lady yelled.... yes... yelled don't run in MY hotel hall. God forbid a family come to have fun. Then needed to shower after use of the pool and asked for wash clothes and towels. The front desk stated couldn't have e any unless we rough the dirty ones down first. So yes we gathered up our dirty ones ( even the bloody one since my daughter was on her period) carried them down to the front desk in front of everyone and returned the dirty ones to receive clean. Like I want to steal you rags and towels.. RIDICULOUS.. Colorado Springs was a very nice BW... this not at ALL. done with Best Western.

We are frequent patrons of BW. The good: breakfast was well stocked and situated in a pleasant area with windows. The room temperature and water temperature was easily regulated. The opportunities: we had backaches from the mattress. The bathroom fan, which comes on via a motion detector, sounds like a lawnmower engine. You literally cannot hear someone talking over it. The TV guide didn't match the channels. The bathtub wasn't well-supported and creaked when stepping on certain places during showers.

Newer facility. Nicely appointed. Staff is excellent. Breakfast was good/filling. Good choices for a Monday morning, too. Easy access to I-69 and local roads. Water pressure could have been better, but that was minor overall to me. I'll be staying here again.

Fort Wayne's Best Western Plus never disappoints. The warm welcoming pool and extensive hot breakfast items are a real plus and great value. We will be back!

When we first arrived we had to fight our way through clouds of smoke because they have the smoking patios on either side of the front door! Who wants to inhale second hand smoke while just trying to check in?!!! When we arrived in our room it was a little chilly. I MISTAKENLY turned on the heater. The worst smell you can imagine came pouring out. Then suddenly, an ear piercing sound filled the air. It was the smoke detectors in both the bedroom and living room area. Did I mention it was midnight? I called down to the front desk for help. I was told "it will quit eventually". Again, it was midnight! People were asleep, or had been. No one even bothered to check and see if it was a fire! We fanned the smoke detectors with towels and turned off the heater. They were correct, it did stop, eventually. Tried to watch a little t.v. to relax but the remote had to be directly in front of the t.v. to work. Had to stand in front of it with remote in hand. No relaxing. Time for bed. Ooooo the pain! No bounce, no give, no cush AT ALL! It felt like they had forgotten to put the mattress on the bed and we were sleeping on just the foundation. Tossed and turned and got up all through the night. Parts of our bodies actually went to sleep from the stiff, hard surface. On a better note, the room was clean, and well appointed. The sofa was surprisingly comfortable to set on. Plenty of towels and toiletries. The breakfast was pretty good. Nothing fancy but they covered everything. Oatmeal, cold cereal, pancakes, waffles, eggs, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, toast, pastries, coffee, tea, various juices. What more could one ask? The staff was very pleasant and courteous. The hotel itself was well kept. We didn't use the pool so I can't comment but, it looked pretty nice and clean. Stayed here Sept 22, 2018. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but just could not spend another night on that mattress! Forfeited the second nights cost but, there's NO PLACE LIKE HOME! I really appreciate my bed!

The staff was very helpful at our most recent stay! Top Notch! They allowed us to check in a little bit early so we could get ready for a wedding we had to attend. They were so kind and thoughtful. A very enjoyable stay the whole time.

I found a cockroach in my room. At firrst they said I would still have to pay for the room, but at a discount. I had to demand that the room be free. Still, they didn't offer to pay for my laundry fees or excessive costs to move to a new hotel across town.

I am here doing work booked this motel under the corporate plan... I am so pleased I was in a very nice clean comfy room, I have no complaints. Desk clerk was very pleasant, and my first appearance of the place was very good.

I stayed here in May 2018, and I was impressed. The free breakfast " a real breakfast" with many options. My room was clean, my floor was quiet and the staff was accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

The BW is easy to get to. The staff is friendly with a nice breakfast buffet. The AC in the room was noisy, which is typical of such wall units. We had an uninterrupted stay. Parking is readily accessible to the front door.

This is the ONLY motel in 8 days and 7 nights that was memorable for it's above-average quality of food, friendliness of staff, and cleanliness of room. It was the only one with hot breakfast options. The two older ladies working that morning clearly enjoyed both their jobs and the time working with each other as "a team". The room was noticeably more clean than any other property in which we stayed, with everything working very well. The only issue, as is too often the case, is that the "freezer" portion of the frigette did not freeze my water bottles, on which I depend each day. They should have been solid in 6 hours, but only had some ice formed. We WOULD return, and would certainly recommend this property to others. Thank you.

Our stay in Fort Couch was on the road from Pittsburgh to Chicago, which is too far for one driving day. So we did look for an attraction to visit and then stay the night somewhere close. After the Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg museum we checked in at the BW Plus FW North. This is a crossing of highways, thus full of hotels, motels and restaurants. The BWPlus is a bit aside of the bustle, good for less road noise, the building a standard shape for this chain of hotels, The reception was surprisingly busy, there seemed to be a family-reunion celebration in preparation. Our room was regular but good, clean and equipped with everything necessary; coffee maker, fridge, microwave etc. Good bathroon and heating/cooling equipment. The beds were comfortable, on the firm side but allowed a good night sleep. The hotel was quiet enough, noise isolation might not be the best but the guests (many families with small children) were fortunately quiet. The hotel has an indoor pool, which was popular with the youngest of our family team. Breakfast service was OK, a good selection of the hot and kold varieties included in the complimentary offering. The small breakfast room was a bit crowded as many were leaving at the same time. A good hotel for the weary traveller, reasonable price level.

Good place to stay, was moved immediately when a disrespectful guest decided to smoke in the hotel and the stink filled out room. No conditioner, but had shampoo, which sucked for my hair. Beds could be softer.

Room as a whole(bathroom, bed, pillows, room) was clean and comfortable. Delicious variety of hot and cold breakfast choices. Plenty of room at the bathroom mirror for two people. Location close to plenty of restaurants.

This hotel is nice and clean. We didn't experience any issues other than the toilet could have been cleaned a little better before our stay. Other than that the staff was very nice. Breakfast was good and a lot of variety. We will definitely chose this place again in the future.

The only complaint I have is the hot tub. It was cloudy and it seemed like some layer of yuckiness was floating on it. Smell of chlorine was overwhelming. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.

Good location right near major highway. Rooms large, clean and comfortable bed. Parking was difficult when semis park there but hotel staff allowed parking along the front entrance. Breakfast was good and plenty of food staff always checking on things.

The overall stay at best western was excellent. We travel to Fort Wayne twice a month to see family (mother is in assisted living ) and the location of this hotel is less than a mile from were we my mother is and we love it. We have been staying at this location twice a month for the last year.

When I can rent a room at Best Western I do. I am always confident that the hotel will be the best for my family and our needs for the stay. My adult kids like to go to the pool and spa and gym to get some exercise after riding in the car all day. I highly recommend Best Western Plus.

The hotel is an older hotel but was very clean and the staff was very helpful and attentive to whatever we needed. The pictures of the pool area were a bit misleading but it was still very nice.We stayed two nights and the first was absolutely perfect. The second had a group of noisy kids running the halls but the staff were there to take care of the situation. It continued until after midnight. When we discussed the issue with the manager, she was very helpful and made a credit to our bill. The staff offered suggestions of places to dine and directions to local attractions. Parking is a bit small but it works!!! Would do it again. Friendly is an understatement. Continental breakfast was well stocked and replenished quickly.

This is a great little hotel with an ice staff that seems to really care. They have great rooms, comfortable beds, and are located within a reasonable Drive of anything you'd be after. And it seems to be a good side of the town

My best friend and I decided to cross one off the bucket list this year and attend the Vera Bradley Annual Outlet Sale in Fort Wayne, from 4/10-4/13. As always, I relied on my ever-faithful TripAdvisor when choosing the hotel. This property received decent ratings, had a great AAA rate of $116.99/night and was one of the Vera Bradley "girlfriend getaway" hotels on visitfortwayne.com, so we were very pleased to book it. After flying from Providence to Indianapolis, then driving two hours from Indy to Fort Wayne, we were thrilled to see the hotel and finally settle in to begin our Indiana adventure. So imagine our surprise when we got there to be told by AGM Terria, after front desk clerk Kierston (who was very nice throughout) was unable to find our reservation in the system, "You cancelled your reservation on April 8 (2 days before scheduled arrival)". This was a LIE. I never received anything from Best Western.com stating our reservation was cancelled, and why would we cancel it since we were obviously at the hotel? This was clearly a mistake on the hotel's part, and our reservation was cancelled in error by the hotel, not us. I told Terria that and she again accused us of cancelling; but to her credit, she went into the back room to try to resolve the issue and reinstate our reservation. Since I wasn't very impressed with Terria's attitude, I asked Kierston if I could speak with Mike, the manager on duty, based on a plaque over the front desk stating this information (which incidentally never changed during our entire stay, so he must work 24/7). Kierston told me "Mike doesn't like to talk with people. He prefers to stay in the background and keep a low profile". These are very odd characteristics for someone employed in the hospitality industry at a management level, but I didn't pursue it any further-by that point we were hungry, tired and just didn't care. Meanwhile, again to her credit and true to her word, Terria did manage to reinstate our reservation and get us into a room. Although we greatly appreciated her tenacity resolving the issue, it could have been done in a more professional and less accusatory manner. The room, 221, was decorated nicely and fairly clean. However,we did find plastic wrap and a penny on the floor, and the TV base was dusty. The shower stall floor and toilet seat could use some reinforcement as they both felt flimsy and unsupportive. The TV also sounded like the voices were underwater. On the plus side, the beds were very comfortable; we never heard much noise from the other guests; and the breakfast, consisting of cereal, fruit, muffins, bagels, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, mini-omelets, yogurt, oatmeal and a make-your-own waffle station was quite enjoyable. This hotel is in a prime location and has such great promise because it's very accessible to everything-restaurants, the Coliseum, shopping and tourist attractions. However, when it came to marketing and cross-promoting local activities and businesses, it missed the boat big time. From 4/10-4/15, this hotel was full of women ready to shop and drop a lot of money in Fort Wayne over a five-day period. Yet, except for one brochure promoting the children's zoo which wasn't even open at the time, there were NO brochures about what to do in Fort Wayne. The travel brochures, which were shoved in a corner, mostly consisted of activities in Indianapolis, southern Indiana, western Ohio and southern Michigan. If we hadn't researched the city before we came we would have thought Fort Wayne was a boring place and simply would have driven the two hours to Indy for entertainment. The saddest part is that one of the managers, from what I understand, is Miss Fort Wayne 2018 and would be the perfect and most excellent ambassador for the city and all it has to offer her hotel guests. What better person to promote the hotel and the city in which it is located? We were also told by an employee that there was always a shuttle to take the Vera Bradley shoppers to The Coliseum, where the sale was being held, but for some reason, there was no shuttle this year-another marketing opportunity missed. On a very positive note, one staff member that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome was Mindy, a breakfast worker. When we were checking out, Mindy personally thanked us for coming to Fort Wayne and spending our hard-earned money in the city and all its businesses, and hopes we choose to stay at this hotel again should we return next year. From a marketing standpoint, Mindy gets it. And she should be acknowledged for that. Although the hotel had many positives (looking at you, Mindy!), the negatives stuck with us. If we choose to come back to Fort Wayne next year I can't confirm staying in this hotel again...but if we do decide to book it next year, you better believe I'm calling ahead to confirm my reservation.

When I arrived, the lobby was full of other guests checking in also. Once in my room, my TV could not connect to cable. On the last night of my visit, the elevator malfunctioned. All that being said, the way the staff handled everything was superb! I especially want to acknowledge Kearston. She handled all of the customers on my first day by herself along with at least two phone calls in a very professional and extremely courteous manner. After the initial rush, she personally came to my room to try to fix my TV. It was late so we put it off till the next day. We still could not get it to work so she even offered me an upgrade to a better room. I refused because it wasn't that big of a deal and I wasn't there most of the time. When the elevator went out, again there was a rush of customers checking and Kearston physically helped guests carry bags up the stairs. I felt so bad watching her, I joined in helping; she's that much of a motivator. The real test of a company's customer service is when things don't go well. As a relatively new employee, Kearston reflects the attitude of a true professional and you should be proud to have her on your team. I hope to stop in again when I'm in the area and I will actually be looking for her, unless she is promoted to manager of another of your properties:)

Easy access from I-69, nice clean hotel, staff friendly. I was there for an event in downtown Fort Wayne, hotel was approximately 10-15 away. I didn't use any of the amenities, but the pool looked inviting.

I had reserved the breakfast area for my daughter's 1st birthday party with the help of Terria the Sales Manager. The breakfast area was a great location as it had the appropriate amount of space and had closed doors to make my event more personable for family and friends. She did a fantastic job with reserving the space and making sure it was clean when I arrived. Kudos to Terria for making my baby's 1st birthday a hit!

I stay in a lot of hotels for work so I spend a lot of time in different ones. This one was a nice little stop to spend a few nights in. I did have a few connectivity issues with the WiFi, but I did connect eventually and after that it was fine. The bed was pretty good. I like clean, fluffy blankets when I sleep. I don't like one little sheet or a thin blanket. This was good. I did find a some black hairs embedded into the thinner middle blanket on the one bed I originally chose to sleep in since the room I had was a double. I switched over and that one was fine. Overall, it's what you'd expect from a hotel. Good location, pretty clean rooms for the most part, and an in-room coffee machine and iron.

Hotel is fine, easy access, decent breakfast nice large rooms. Need to change the ragged torn American flag they are flying though, it is unfortunate that businesses fly such tattered flags. Then when it is brought to their attention they still did not do anything with the flag on the 2 days I was there.??

Randi was a very warm and welcoming receptionist. After booking our rooms she offered us a delicious homemade potato soup and fresh baked cookies. I would recommend this hotel to others and will be staying again on our next trip.

The staff of this hotel truly care about their customers. I never have to worry about the cleanliness and comfort in this hotel. They are always friendly and professional and always willing to take immediate care to see that my stay there is excellent from my initial reservation to my check-out! When I have to be away from home, I know I have a clean, safe place to go. I never stay anywhere else. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

This is definitely the place to stay while visiting Fort Wayne. It is close to restaurants, shopping, and I-69. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was awesome. My room was awesome and the bed was extremely comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Fort Wayne!

The breakfast staff was rude the housekeeper just walked in the room without giving a reasonable amount of time to get to the door to stop her. The bathroom had hair all over it. The bathroom vent was very loud.

I have to say this hotel staff is so friendly!!! I really dont require a lot when Im staying in a room. I just want a clean room with a frig, a microwave, and a comfortable bed. Well this place has all that plus. Great pool and hot tub that I took advantage of. The tv had decent channels although it would be nice to be able to cast my netflix. The breakfast was really good. There were waffles, fruit eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, potoates, danish, juice, cereal, toast, and bagles. I may be forgetting something but you get the idea. best of all room service was very reasonable. Ive stay at hotel that nickel and dime you from parking to water and even coffee so I'd definately stay if in the area again

Great room! Loved my Jacuzzi and bed. Room was clean and comfortable. No issues with the staff, however the guests above us were quite loud. The parking lot was clean and well lit for safety. I would definitely recommend this Best Western!

This hotel is a very nice to stay. Close to Downtown. Very easy to get to. Quite and back off the road. We have stayed here before and will again l am sure. We did not swim. But the the pool looked very nice and people seemed to enjoy it. Very nice weekend.

Came into town on business, the lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and got me to my room fairly quick. The room showed extremely well with new updates and the pool and jacuzzi was very nice and recently redone. I highly enjoyed my stay and would recommend if you're in the area.

We stayed in one of the suites with a Jaquzzi tub in it and fireplace. Both of them were lovely as well as the comfort of our room. Our complimentary breakfast was delicious. No complaints here! We did not use the pool but the area was kind of small but served its purpose.

Since we love the Best Western in Monticello, we decided to try the one in Fort Wayne. Nice room, about the same breakfast but I was disappointed in their selection for television channels. It came up as Comcast Business but what was disappointing was that there was not a single local channel. I was happy with everything else. If we ever go back to Fort Wayne, I'll be considering staying here again.

We always stayed at the Best Western in Monticello so we decided to try the one in Fort Wayne. The only thing I was disappointed in was that they have Comcast business for there television service but only a select few channels that work. Plus they have no local channels on the feed. I've never heard anything like that. Usually some places have nothing but local channels. But other than that, very nice place, location and great service.

Very clean hotel. Great breakfast with hot eggs and sausage or waffles, quiet area, comfortable beds. Only 4 miles from the Allen County Genealogy Library if you're into tracing your family tree. I will stay here again when I'm in the area.

I will never stay at a Best Western Hotel again this was my first experience and last. Very unprofessional, rude, the odor of the room, very unclean. The will not receive a star from me because this wS horrible. The receptionist did not know how to check me in and the manager Tera was trying to train her and reprimand her in front of myself which was not professional.

Really large bedroom. Very comfortable beds. Nice staff. Very accommodating. The front desk staff was really friendly. I liked that we had a double queen room and they had enough towels. Often I only find two bath towels in a room and have to always request a third since I have long hair but this room had more than enough. Iwould definitely stay here again.

I am on the road a large amount. When a hotel stands out to me I try to make an effort to document it. This was a very clean and appeared newer place. Theresa at the front desk was great. She is the type of person you need 24/7 to meet guests at the point of entry. I highly recommend this Best Western.

My wife and I stayed at this Bestern Hotel on Cross Creek Blvd for one night. The service was great. The room was clean and comfortable. Type hotel area was very well groomed. The morning breakfast was outstanding.

We were on pleasure family trip. All Best Western hotels that we stayed at were great. We would continue to stay at Best Western Hotels in the future. I am presently booked into the Best Western Hotel in Birch Run Michigan in the next week.

We stayed here for an in-town wedding. The staff was very cooperative and helpful. The pool and hot tub were well- maintained (we used them several times in 4 days) and the breakfast was well-stocked and plentiful.

Best Western (North-Fort Wayne) was a very easy hotel to get to. The staff was very helpful in places to eat at. They were kind and nice. The room I stayed in was very clean & smelled good. Bed was very comfortable, as were the numerous pillows. Used the hot tub, which was also perfect temp. Would recommend this hotel.

You will be greeted by friendly and helpful people. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The pool and whirlpool are enjoyable and clean. The fitness center, though small, has the machines you need to get a good workout. Breakfast includes a great variety of items. This facility would be good for anyone traveling. It is also close, but not too close to the highway, restaurants, shopping, and some sites.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while in town for a wedding. Outside of the hotel looks great, and lobby at first sight seems okay. However, after checking in, we found trash left over from the previous guest, a bathtub/shower with no shower curtain, stained sheets, etc. While in the room the following day with a privacy sign on the door and the deadbolt locked, housekeeping attempts to enter twice! A quick 2 knocks and jiggle at the handle... After opening the door on the second attempt, the employee says "just wanted to check the room." Seems a little strange right?? That night we continued to hear employees chatting throughout the night outside in the hallway, very poor insulation as any noise travelled right through the front door. Breakfast is supposed to be served until 10:30am on the weekends, but we found everything empty and the breakfast room a complete mess when we went at 10am. All in all, I would not suggest staying here unless you're really on a budget.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus in Ft. Wayne, IN. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Clean pool. I would highly recommend.

Very well kept, quiet hotel in smaller midwestern city, with friendly desk staff. Double queen room is large and clean; comfortable, clean beds; writing table plus three chairs; clothes chest; electrical outlets for phones/computers; a bit too much air freshener, but the windows open. Included breakfast includes a couple of hot items (sausage, pancakes, biscuits, gravy) plus the usual ready-made American cuisine. Ample car parking, located in a strip mall section of the city.

Hotel is 45 minutes from the venue, however it is one of the nicer BW. The owner and staff are very friendly, always smiling and offering assistance. The indoor pool and workout areas are well maintained.

Awesome experience and facilities, warm and caring front desk personnel, both evening and morning. They took time to evaluate my situation and provide the best solutions. I was able to use my points for this stay! That is a definite plus about BW!

Passing through on our drive back home to the northeast this hotel provided just what was necessary for a good night's sleep before driving the next day. The breakfast is always appreciated as it enables us to get up early and on the road.

I cannot say enough about this young lady. Kind, professional and quick. An asset to your team. The room was very nice, I liked how the room was split so when I completed work at the desk I could retire into the bedroom. The wet bar was awesome and a great place to do makeup in the morning. Everyone could not have been more friendly. Terria is, without a doubt the friendliest person I encountered!

Staff is very cooperative and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful - lots of choices. Clean, very nice rooms. All around very good experience. Probably the best Best Western I have seen in a long time! I would definitely recommend this particular hotel to anyone. It is surrounded by a lot of great restaurants - some within walking distance.

Our baseball team stayed at the hotel for almost a week. The staff was super accommodating to our group and gave us use of the breakfast area each night for group dinners. We loved the hotel and all the staff.

We booked this hotel based on the photos and descriptions of the property. We should have known better. Appearances, in this case, are not everything. The hotel IGNORED our reservation request to have all feather items removed. Popping sounds on TV were reported, but nothing was done during our visit. The tiles in the swim/spa room are NOT rated for wet usage...wet feet slip on them. Skin/oil/filth scum thickly coated all above water tiles in the spa, and non-pool rated tiles around spa and pool are being destroyed by chemicals...it looks bad. Another hint: Simply having a square tub full of too-hot water is not enough to earn the label of "spa." This one is far too shallow and has only a few minimal jets. Worthless. The pool is supposed to be heated, but it was COLD. Having the smoking area on either side of the entrance is TRASHY and exposes ALL guests, including those with asthma, to second-hand smoke. The room HVAC units do NOTHING to remove moisture from the air, making sleeping uncomfortable. Staff need hospitality training; they need to understand the difference between front (on stage) and back (off stage) of the house communication; I heard WAY too much. Paying $120+ for this room with these kinds of problems convinced me NEVER to book BW again, and this one was supposed to be a better quality hotel.

Very clean and well organized hotel! Staff is outstanding!!!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to relax during a business trip. Many good places to dine nearby! Easy to access from I-69. Also not far from the Colusiem.

First of all I called several weeks in advance to book the hotel room and when I showed up to my room it was not the room i requested. I then had to ask for a twin cot to accommodate my kid Thursday night into Saturday. I did not receive the bed until Saturday therefore my kid had to sleep on the floor until we received the bed. Since the twin bed came with a charge, they waived it due to our circumstances. Second, the room I had stayed in did not have public access to places so I kept having to get a random room key to have the access I needed. Thirdly, the jacuzzi was not working properly for the first couple of nights, but was later fixed. Lastly, the food in the cafeteria was not that's great. In the end I was able to get my room discounted for all the issues, however I will NOT be staying at this hotel again and will not be recommending this hotel to people I know in the future.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Fort Wayne for four nights while attending a family reunion. This hotel is newly renovated and very clean, however, we found it quite dark. This was from the very dark wood trim, poor lighting in the hallways and rooms, and the dark carpet and artwork. It seemed rather depressing. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were great. The bathroom was very clean and everything worked well.The check-in and out went smoothly with only a minor glitch, which was handled quickly by the desk associate. Breakfast was the normal hotel fare with little for those of us who must be gluten free. Overall, it was a very nice place to spend a few nights.

Wonderful staff! I like staying at Best Westerns. I choose Best Western over any of hotels like them around. The manager at this one went above and beyond for my family. Never experienced that before.

This Best Western is my go-to hotel in the Fort Wayne area. It's easy to find and access major roadways, convenient to shopping and I've not had any problems staying there. Smoking is not allowed inside, but I think they should not let people smoke on the front porch area, either.

We were in town for our daughters wedding and stayed at the BW in Fort Wayne. The location is very convenient and close to the interstate, several good restaurants and shopping. At check in we were pleasantly greeted and the process was quick and easy. The clerk was friendly and helpful, The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We had the room at the top of the stairs and to the right. It was very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is good, with eggs, sausage, toast, and a lot of other items. The attendant was friendly and pleasant to talk to. We'll look to this facility on our next trip to FW.

This is an excellent hotel for those who find themselves in the fort wayne area. The hotel is conveniently located close to freeways and many food and retail establishments. Using this hotel as our base we took day trips to Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, about 2 hour drive as well as Chicago and Nappanee Amish Acres.

We found this facility quite comfortable, a little pricey, but had all of the amenities we were after. Hot tub was nice, but it was a very busy evening. A little hectic for us. Adequate for comfort, we were able to have some privacy, they allowed Adult only time.

Had a great stay here. The staff were excellent, especially the front desk and the manager. We spent a lot of time sitting out in their porch area and they were very accommodating. Great place for teams to stay.

Older, outdated and definitely needs some TLC for the price. Had much better value down the road at Indianapolis. Best Western for $20.00/night cheaper and much cleaner and updated facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Prior guests had smoked in our room304 which is a smoke free facility. Hotel was booked up so no other room to switch too. Felt we should not have to pay for a stinky smoky room, in a smoke free facility. We're told they would see what they could do. BS.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The staff is the friendliest, most helpful staff I ever have experienced at a hotel. The rooms are clean and fresh. The pool is just big enough to enjoy a dip along with the hot tub. The breakfast is good to begin your day and it is right off the expressway next to plenty of restaurants and activities.

Can't ask for much more. Room clean. Beds comfortable. Staff was courteous and professional. The waffles were good too. LOL. Room seemed quiet of street / outside noise. Area out front to smoke is covered, with chairs and tables. Nice hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past as a"stay-cation". The hotel has a nice overall feel to it when you walk in. There were a few room issues this past stay, but nothing that would make us not come back. Staff took care of everything without delay.

This place is very clean and the staff are very friendly. The indoor pool was very cold and the hot tub was very hot. The rooms are very clean. Overall everything was great and I would stay here again.

Stopped in the Best Western for four nights as a graduation trip from the UK (our son studied in the US). The Reception Staff were very friendly, the hotel very clean with exceptionally comfortable beds. Basic complimentary breakfast was available. The hotel was quiet and in a great location for our needs. Would recommend this hitel

My Wife and I were passing through Ft Wayne for our second anniversary Trip. When we got here the Staff was extremely Helpful and polite, we were able to get an upgraded room for a very reasonable price. The manager and front desk attendant were extremely attentive to my wife and I. The room was very clean and put together nicely. My wife and I will remember this Hotel when we pass through again. The hotel is very reasonably priced, more expensive then Motel 6, but it is a lot nicer too. Thanks to the amazing staff for a wonderful stay.

We were on a road trip and stayed here one night. It was the most expensive place we stayed. The room as nice enough and really clean. The bed was comfortable but the TV needed to be replaced (I did not report it), however, the internet was fast. I would stay here again if the price was more reasonable. In their defense, nearly every hotel in the area was sold out, which I guess explains the pricing.

Excellent Hotel...Made my travel and business go very well. Great location on a main road, fitness center was very spacious and accommodating, and the room was very good with a great comfortable mattress and everything worked well. I would recommend this hotel for business (maybe not so much for couples or family).

Got here friday and seen a few didnt think much of it.. Well saturday when i got back from work i smashed about 30 in less then a hour went to the desk was told we are full heres some ant spray.. And thats all i got. This place sucks beds are hard and my room smells like 100 stink bugs where smashed. The dots on my pic are just some of the ants.. They are in the bed and all over every thing i have me nor my company will be back here ever..

Indoor pool was extremely cold. We asked if they could turn it up and by the next day it was unchanged. Why even have a pool if you're too cheap to heat it? Cotton sheets on the bed were very comfortable.

My daughter and I stay there one night. While in town for the Vera Bradley sale. This our second year going and staying here. The hotel is clean, breakfast was nice and room was very comterable. Will stay here next year when we come.

We stayed here for the Vera Bradley Outlet Sale. The room was nice but our toilet seat had a noticeable lean to the left-we nicknamed it the adventure seat since you felt like you may fall off every time. We had a suite which was nice and the seating area was great for us to stay up talking. Nice hotel and very close to our intended destination. We were pleased and will likely stay here again when we come back for next year's sale.

We were pleased with everything from the location, service, and staff. Would recommend staying on the 3rd floor as to not hear people above you. Shower head doesn't have much pressure but other than that, really can't complain. Was very pleased with the rates and would stay here again. Aubrey at the front desk was genuinely nice.

I walked in during a mishap with another guest. The manager was extremely polite and accommodating. Apologetic and empathetic. She went out of her to make the situation right. I was assisted with my check in a timely manor with nothing but great service. Room clean, orderly, and ready for my arrival. Close to Panda Express and I-69. Will stay here on next visit.

Suite fit our six member family well. We were able to check in early, and still go out into town to do fun things. There are enough beds for everybody. Comfortable and clean. And the breakfast the next morning was delicious.something for everybody.

This hotel was only one I contacted in Fort Wayne to accomodate friends and family coming to our daughters senior recital. They gave a generous group discount and were flexible in allowing time for people to sign up. They went out of their way to help with this and make it possible for us to stay the night and celebrate with her the next day.

We rented the jacuzzi/fireplace suite. It was beautiful.. from the moment you walk in you are greeted by very friendly staff. The room was very spacious and roomy. Just so very relaxing. The pool was closed but that was fine the hotel was very nice anyway. It was well taken care of and clean. Just have to say that the office staff were so friendly. I will definitely be back

This is convenient to the freeway. Couldn't use the pool as it was not in use. Front desk was very nice to my daughter. To me, breakfast wasn't great. Mostly processed food items. My kids feel it was good. The rooms were certainly adequate but nothing special.

TerrIa and the rest of the office staff were amazingly helpful and caring during my stay. They made sure my needs were taken care of and went above and beyond to ensure that the training class I conducted in their meeting room went off well. I look forward to staying again some day.

Check in was easy as our rooms were already taken care of do to an event in the area. Service was quick and efficient. Our room was larger than anticipated with a kings idea bed, bath and living area. It included a small frig and microwave with a large counter space. The room was clean and spacious.

There was a delay at check in due to training going on. We recognized this and waited. My room was not fully cleaned with unmade beds and missing linens in the bathroom. It took 2 requests to have this corrected. Afterwards the desk manager did apologize.

The hotel looks okay from the outside and from the lobby. It appears the hotel is older? It appears it may be going through a transition? It is just in need of many things. The room was dirty - there were hairs in the shower (not ours). There was dust on the bathroom fan and in the corners of the room. The room smelled of smoke in a non-smoking hotel. They are asking way too much money for this hotel. For the price we paid, I expected more and my expectations were dashed. If I had paid $25 less for the room, I wouldn't be bothered.

Overall, this is an okay hotel, I gave it 3 stars because it needs to upgrade their rooms and dining area. The bathrooms/rooms need to be upgraded: shower pressure was very low, heating unit very noisy, beds too firm & there needs a better place to hang your clothes.

Do not think you are going to do anything with the internet, because it is impossible. No high speed internet at this hotel or even internet in general. Rooms are not very clean or put together. Our room wasn't even painted all the way. Shower curtain rod was about to come out of the wall. You can hear semi's running outside more than I should be able to. The tv's are not very clear in sound. Breakfast was a mess. They don't offer a very good variety. I will not stay here again or a Best Western at this rate!!!

This hotel is very attractive in all areas. It is also clean as a whistle, extremely comfortable and the staff is outstanding! Best Western Plus provided me with an atmosphere that made me as comfortable as if I were at home and yet I felt pampered as well which of course is what I enjoyed during my vacation. I'll be back without a doubt next year!

Great staff nice Motel nice room everything was wonderful except Wi-Fi does not exist and in my room cell service is very difficult so if communication is important this is not the place to stay otherwise this is a first-class place

We always stay here when we are on a research trip at the Allen County Public Library. It's affordable and we always feel we get good value for our money. The staff is always courteous and helpful even when the hotel may be full to capacity. This past trip was a light night for them but it was quiet and restful as always.

tv didnt work --moved to room with wet floor- noisy since i didnt book directly with best western they could not make any adjustment. i will not stay here again. will never book through anyone except the hotel where i am staying,

If you don't want to stay in and are only looking to lay your head down, I guess this hotel would be ok. The rooms were old and smelled musty. I say rooms, because we had more than just me in our party. All the rooms smelled musty. Upon entering the hotel, you have to go through a cloud of smoke, because that is where everyone goes to smoke. I would suggest making an area away from the front door, or even in the back. The linen room door was always open and a fan blowing into the room. The fan made a pretty loud noise and I'm not sure why it was blowing into the linen room, but it was during our entire stay!

I stayed last night at this motel for business travel. The staff last night and this morning were very pleasant and helpful, but the room was less than average. The closet was a small indention in the wall with a curtain. Can handle that, but the rack was made for a man's suit, not a dress, in that the rack was placed low not high. The lower half of my dress was hanging on the floor. Also, this morning, the breakfast was inadequate--grateful for food--but have seen better at "non-Plus" motels. I chose to not eat.

The reservation clerk went out of her way to be sure I could have an accessible room since my parents can't step into a bathtub any longer. All employees were very pleasant and accommodating. The facility is very nice and I would have used the pool if I hadn't been so tired. The water pressure is a bit lacking and the number of available TV channels is small. The TV channel guide does not list the local channels (CBS, NBC, ABC) so you have to keep changing channels until you find what you want.

After traveling for nearly 3 weeks and staying at over 6 Best Western hotels we opted to book a room with this BW for an overnight stay after a concert based on all the positive experiences we had. While not exactly the worst place we've stayed it is definitely not up to par with the Plus standards. It's decent but a little worn. You can tell that they are trying to update things but it's still sloppy with unfinished upgrades. Nice, polite and helpful staff. Assigned a room quickly. Our room was standard queen and tidy but the odor you walked into smelled like stale coffee grounds. It was overpowering and didn't dissipate even after turning on fans and the a/c. The a/c shield was a little loose and rattled all night. Nothing seemed to help or stop the annoyance. The curtains wouldn't close so the room didn't darken much for a restful sleep. They offer a morning breakfast. The area was tidy and the staff was attentive. Limited selection with no meat options like they advertise on the signs. They were out of juice but it was quickly filled when the staff was notified. A little underwhelming for a hot breakfast. Needing some caffeine we tried to purchase a soda from the machine. It wouldn't take the dollar bills so we asked at the desk for change. They didn't have any change but offered to sell a can (not the bottle size from the machine). These were on a shelf but the staff assured us they were chilled. She also commented that the dollar changer was probably full... it happens all the time. Curious why it would be full if they know it fills up. Shouldn't it be emptied regularly? Another concern is the apparent lack of security. The hotel was pretty full and adults and kids were all over the place. There were some sitting on the sidewalk outside the side entry door. This area was not well lit and it was small/confining. It was a little unnerving to step over people to get inside the hotel. The porch provided a nice seating area but allowed smoking. Technically it was outside the boundary set by law but those that don't smoke still had to walk through the haze and it seeped into the main areas too. They had obviously closed/cleaned the pool area late evening. The entire lower level smelled heavily of chlorine. There was obviously no "lights out" or quiet time for the hotel. Maybe we just had a bunch of people that lacked common courtesy. People were running around and loud throughout the night and well in to the early morning. My in-laws also booked a King suite and said the group partied loudly through 3am so they didn't get much rest. I reported the smell and rattling a/c unit at the front desk the next morning. The staff was quick to apologize and ask if there was anything they could do to compensate us. That isn't why I mentioned the issues to the desk and we didn't take anything from them. The thing that irked me the most was that her mannerisms or comments seemed to suggest that they knew about the smells and noises and simply haven't addressed them. Overall it's ok but definitely needs some work, updating and is NOT one of the Plus lines for Best Western. This is ok for an overnight stay if seeing a concert but I would check around for other options.

The folks at Best Western never look down on us after a dirty days work. They are always happy to see us and help us get to a room to get cleaned up and rested so we can go out and keep the nations railroads moving. Doing the repair work on these engines is dirty grueling work and they help us get it done. Thank you.

Fine place, with nice GM, but the room and breakfast were lacking. The hotel has been renovated but the job was not fully executed. Dirty old grout. Hardly any water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was pretty sad. Powdered eggs and fatty sausage. The little "crumb cakes" were tasty though.

From the second of arriving at the Best Western Plus I knew that I had chosen a good one. The room was very clean the staff was absolutely wonderful the pool could have been bigger but there was two times during our stay that we had the pool all to ourselves ,me, my daughter, son-in-law, & grandkids. The hot breakfast was very good, the lady who was working that area was super nice. Would not hesitate to go back and stay there again.

We stayed for several nights in a double queen suite. It was very spacious and clean. Laundry room is good. The pool is very small but still ok. The gym - the weight machine is almost broken but the elliptical and the treadmill is good. Friendly staff. Close to grocery store and places to eat. We will definitely consider it again.

I did not report this due to length in room, but the shower did not work and I had to bath for 2 days. Also, since the bath took longer, the auto lights would shut off leaving me in the dark. I thought I would use the hot tub and pool but when I went to it, you could barely see through the water it was so dirty and cloudy. I've stayed at other Best Western Plus hotels and was very satisfied. Maybe this was just a one off bad experience.

Nice, clean room. Friendly staff. I wanted a place I could get in and out quickly, and this was that. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. After I had been in my room less than an hour, they checked to be sure everything was OK. I liked having a microwave and a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment. For a one-night stopover on my way north, it met my needs.

Our swim team was in the area for a meet and stayed here. The staff was very accommodating to the group (especially given our size). The rooms were clean and what you would expect. The kids had fun at the pool. I'm guessing this will be our hotel again when we come next year.

The hotel was easy to find and very clean. We stayed during a wedding and they put all the guests on the same floor. However the air in the hallways on the floor was broken the whole 4 days we were there. The cleaning staff worked with our schedule and even decorated the bride and grooms room! I would recommend the hotel for a short stay.

How great is it, having 5 little girls to find a hotel that's affordable, clean, and FITS US ALL LEGALLY!!! Best western rocks. We love it, and we're probably gonna be using them exclusively. We are a traveling family band, and we find these 2 queen suites to be just wonderful. Breakfast was better than average, and the pool rocked. Great all round.

Staff at desk was very friendly, and on top of her job. Clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel appears to be kept up well. The hot tub was nice. No problems with the internet. What more can you ask for?

Second time staying at this hotel and it was just as I remembered. Staff was friendly and helpful, lobby and halls are clean and updated. Rooms are updated and well maintained. Internet and breakfast leave a little to be desired but you get that anywhere. Would rather stay here than chance it elsewhere anyway!

I had stayed at this same hotel in May the food for breakfast was superb, the air conditioner was perfect and the room was very clean. This time was horrible. The fire alarm went off at 12;30 A.M. the fire truck came and everything. They said it had something to do with the heat from the pool area. We were outside for 1 hour then it took another 45 minutes before we could stand the sound of the alarm to go back into our room. The bathroom needed to be mopped. The air conditioner did not work properly. We set it for 72 but it would either run non stop or would stop and not start up again. The eggs, gravy and biscuits were cold only 1/2 hour into serving and the attendee was busy cleaning the outside of the building and the lobby. It was the worst hotel stay I have ever had.

Thanks for making the week/weekend a great success. It was not only my son's wedding, it was also another son's birthday and the first time in over 16 months our family of 6 were able to get together, since our son and daughter both joined the military. Everyone was great, from start to finish. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy. A slight issue with the room at first, yet the young lady did not stop till she was able to make sure we were happy! Highly recommend this hotel.

I give this property an "A" for location, an "A" for value, an "A" for quality, and an "A" for amenities. Breakfast is top quality. The fitness center actually has equipment that works. The micro/fridge is a necessity because of my medicine and special needs. I always stay here anytime i am close to the area. i use this hotel as a hub and work out of it in all directions during the week.

My husband surprised me with a whirlpool suite getaway. Our room was on the first floor at the end of the hall and was very quiet. There were spotlights that lit the grounds outside our windows which added safety to my mind. Breakfast was filled with variety. I liked the Mexican omelette and cinnamon muffin. We had lots of towels. The bedroom had a swirled metal bed frame with yards of tulle. It was sweet. The reason the hotel didn't get 5 stars is probably more of a "chain" issue rather than this room. The amenities are very low end. Similarly priced chains have better soaps and lotions. Additionally, the coffee is tasteless. Instead of half and half, powdered creamer is the only provided option. Finally, there are not enough lights in both the bedroom and living room. I could hardly read.

Friendly staff, great rooms. We were in a rush when it was sold out and they still were able to accommodate us with an early check in. Bed spread was nice, had a strange long cylindrical pillow that freaked me out at first but I grew to love over time and now actually kinda miss. Dyanmite.

Located near a ton of shopping and food, easy on-off for the highway, and a quiet place to get a good night's sleep. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful. And EVERYONE on the staff was a dog person - made my pooch feel super welcome. Would absolutely stay again!

I paid $200 a night for a suit with several issues. The HVAC unit was very noisy every time it kicked on, the breakfast was ok, light switches did not work, WIFI had poor reception in the room. Very clean room and friendly staff.

Just stayed overnight on our way to St. Loius. Got in fairly late but no problem getting signed in. staff was friendly and room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was as advertised and everything was hot and fresh.

This hotel was one of the best so far I've done stayed in so far. My room was very nice. I was on the the 1st floor at the end. The breakfast was ok. The cereal was a little stale. But the eggs was great. I definitely will be staying there again. I'll also would refer a friend.

We needed a hotel with a pool so that the family could swim while I went to a concert. This fit the bill perfectly as it was close to the Coliseum, was well priced and had a full breakfast included. Staff was very friendly and everything was very clean. I would stay there again.

I was very pleased with my stay. My only compliant was that the waffle batter was extremely watery. Other then that, breakfast was really good. I also loved how this hotel offered so many amenities. Even though, I did not get a chance to use the fitness room, the business center, pool and spa were all very nice. I loved the fact too, that this particular hotel was just a short stop away from where the Vera Bradley Outlet Sale takes place. The rooms are very clean as well.

Super friendly & helpful staff! The room was beautiful & clean, with comfy beds & fluffy pillows! We really enjoyed the pool & hot tub! Breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. Definitely will stay there again!

I would just like to say the assistant manager at the Best Western Plus Inns & suite at Fort Wayne by the name of Terria Justice was outstanding. She went out of her way to accommodate me and my family for a last minute booking, because the package deal we had with the tournament officials was not placed properly. Terria immediately took on the task of making some adjustments and the room assignments to accommodate us with my son's teammates. The stay was great we will truly be back thank you. We booked our reservation on line at noon. Check in was supposed to be at 3p. We got to the hotel at 3p. It is almost 4p and our room is still not cleaned. The customer service desk said that the cleaning ladies were "on-top" of it. Our kids are complaining and waiting to swim. They have not had any sympathy for the situation. I do not recommend. Have not seen the room yet, but am hopeful.

Noisy party of women under portico at 2 am, outside our window. Clerk on duty overnight claims she heard nothing. She was unkempt and didn't know how to set up the breakfast room. Couldn't find the waffle mixture or porridge mixture but made available individual oatmeal, when asked. Said she couldn't find jam or PB but we found it in one of the cupboards with little trouble. No cold water available at breakfast.

When hotel staff know your name and treat you as well as the staff at this Best Western, why would you want to stay anyplace else. It's convenient to shopping, restaurants. It's a quick 15 minute drive from the airport to the hotel on the Interstate loop around the city. How many times have you forgotten something? There's Meijer's right behind the hotel to pick up anything you might have forgotten (and you don't have to go back onto the main road).

I always enjoy this hotel whenever I need to stay in Fort Wayne. The staff is always extremely helpful and polite. The rooms are always clean, and are at a comfortable temperature when you walk into them. The breakfast is a standard hotel breakfast, but again, the staff is always friendly. I would recommend this hotel anytime.

From the moment you walk through the door you are treated like family. You aren't a paying customer. You are welcomed! I have traveled all over the country and have yet to find another hotel as friendly as this. Terria goes out of her way to make sure every aspect of your trip is well taken care of. Aubrey was more than happy to get us checked in and even offered us discounts to location restaurants. When you stay here you really do "Stay with people who care". It's not just a slogan. Not a bad place at all. I really can't find a whole lot of negative with the property. It is a comfortable room, clean, well kept, inviting but maybe a little warm for my liking. But other than that. Not a bad place for the price. Breakfast however is the same poor choices as every other hotel. Sorry. Eat out.

The room was very clean and comfortable. A the staff there constantly asked how could they best service you and the hot breakfast was hands down delicious. This hotel was very peaceful and relaxing. I'd definitely decide to stay there again

Although our room was a non smoking room, it smelled like smoke very strong. There was also a light shining right at our room and the curtains did not block it out. The staff was very nice and attentive though.

We were very disappointed with this place altogether. First of all we splurged to get the "family suite" since we had our children with us. First of all, the room was clearly very dirty & covered in dust No toilet paper, dirty mirrors, hair in sink and tub, no pillows & no canopy bed as promised. Broken fireplace, no wet bar and very small pool and spa. There were ants covering the pool room floor, that's probably because of the old chewed up gum on the floor. Gross. No happy at all. Tried to get a new room but there wasent any available. We roughed it out but I was grossed out the whole time. Unfortunate.

Upon Check-In we were greeted by our group coordinator Terra, she was super friendly and got us checked right in. The rooms are fairly small (we had a double queen) but it was adequate for us just staying for a couple of nights and not spending a whole lot of time in our room. The shower pressure was not so great and Sunday morning we didn't have a whole lot of hot water. However, overall the stay was pretty good. The room clean, the pool was clean and decent temps, the halls were clean. They were super accommodating to our large group. The breakfast was fine. We'd probably stay here again.

So, I was in a bind and I was able to get my company to approve this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and even upgraded me to a suite at no extra charge. Mary, receptionist, was kind enough to give me directions to a great restaurant, however, the guys I was with wanted streak. The room was clean and inviting. I conducted my bed bug check and no bed bugs were observed! The only reason this hotel gets a four and not a five was the fan between the bedroom and living room was extremely loud when it kicked on. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel was very clean, the staff very hospitable, the hotel offers free parking/breakfast/wi-fi, and has a pool (although they over-chlorinate it, as it can hurt your eyes). A very good value for the cost.

Overall great value, the front desk guy was so helpful and so nice. beds were comfy and place was super clean. overall satisfied with our stay. Breakfast was good, and we enjoyed eating on "real" plates with "real" silverware. coffee was hot

The "updates" in the bathroom were nice however the patch job around the mirror was awful. There was no attention to sanding the drywall before painting. The tile floor was patched with grout that did not match. We had an issue (unrelated to the upgraded decor) during our stay and had to leave abruptly. Management was not super helpful in securing us alternative accommodations. It is an okay place, but there are other hotels nearby. We ended up at the Hyatt which had a great breakfast and was clean.

The hotel was nice - room was clean and comfortable, I liked having wifi available so I could submit my reports easily, and the breakfast was good. The price seems kind of high for one person for one night on business.

We had an exceptional stay in the hot tub suite. Very clean hotel all aroud with great staff and excellent continental breakfast. The hot tub was plenty big for two. Our only complaint would be the motion activated light switches in the room. We will definitely stay again.

The staff was very helpful in changing our reservation specifics twice.The room was immaculate, spacious, and luxorious. (We chose a room with a whirlpool tub and were happily surprised to find a canopy bed.) The staff was nothing but nice and helpful. A wonderful experience at a wonderful hotel. It's so convenient to the highway, food and shopping. Room access in in the building so you can feel completely safe when going to your room. Parking lot is well lit. Staff is always so helpful. Definitely recommend whether you're traveling alone or with family.

Clean, helpful, friendly staff. I am actually kind of surprised my experience this second time around is as good as the first. How often does that happen? They are always ready to help with anything. Clean, comfortable. Very cozy lobby. Pleasant to walk in to a warm fireplace from the rainy winter.

I stayed there for the weekend and was treated very well right from the time I checked in to the time I departed. Warm and cozy lobby..The Jacuzzi suite I stayed was "royal"... Sandy and her team of great staff deserve kudos for their upkeep.

The pool was excellent this stay. The breakfast could be much better, quality and presentation. And billing accuracy could be improved on, especially to ability to correct any wrong charges or input(s) at the time of check-out, and not have to wait days later for said corrections.

My wife had to go to Fort Wayne for the weekend for a business dinner so we decided to double it as a date get away. I booked us a room here because I wanted a whirlpool room and from what I read and the pictures I saw, I thought this would be a great option. We arrived around 1:30 and were hoping to check into the room before going to our dinner meeting. They don't allow check-ins before 3pm. We had to wait until later to go to the room which isn't a big deal. A policy is a policy. When we got into the room it was big and had a king canopy bed. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The whirlpool was clean and they had plenty of towels for us. Only a few things that we didn't like. There were done cosmetic issues. The bathroom is in need of some painting to cover up holes, dents and scratches. The shower head looked like it was coming out of the wall. The water pressure is low and the shampoo they provide you was half empty. Not sure if it was replaced or from the last guest. The breakfast is average. The breakfast room is very small, so on a busy morning like ours, you have a hard time moving around. They only have one trash can and it is in the back of the room so you have to maneuver around everyone to get to it. Overall, we didn't hate it, but felt like it need a few changes to bring us back.

This is an updated hotel that gives a very good first impression when you walk in the door. The rooms don't disappoint. Very affordable too!

Check in was easy, staff was friendly and outgoing. Room was nice. Pool area clean. Very poor water pressure in room. Hotel is located near the highway and there are plenty of places to eat around the area. I would stay at again when it is time for my wife and I get a chance to sneak away again.

We were just here for an evening and the rooms were very clean. The hot tub was lukewarm and few towels in pool area. Breakfast was decent, but obviously from a can/package. Would have gotten much better review if the person working the desk wouldn't have of allowed a group of parents and 10+ kids stay in the lobby, hog the computers, and basically have a family reunion in the lobby you see in the photo on this app.

Our daughter needed a handicapped room. The room was perfect for her right down to the width of the spacing between the queen sized beds which allowed her wheel chair to go between. The shower stall arrangement was great. There was a LEGO robotics competition the next day so the hotel was filled with kids. Despite this, things quieted down @ 10:30 pm so we were able to sleep. The staff was helpful and very courteous!

A very good hotel for the money, great location near newer amenities on north side of Fort Wayne. The bed was really comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was free. Great value!

This was a last minute trip into the area for work. I had made no arrangements to stay anywhere. I called the desk of another motel I would normally stay at, and was switched to their national reservations center which rubbed me the wrong way. I pulled into this motel and walked in to inquire about a room. Two words: Terria Justice! Wow, if all places had an employee that worked this hard and was this pleasant, the world would be a better place! Thanks for everything!

The staff is very personable and helpful. The room was very comfortable. I'm not a big breakfast person, but liked that there was a variety of items to select from. There's a grocery store close (and you don't have to get on a main roadway) to grab items for your frig. Will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Nice place to stay. I would stay here again. very convient to where I have to be. Close to restruants and shopping. Hotel staff very helpful and pleasant. And apprearance was very nice. I would recommend the comforter to be clean was only problem I had with being here.

Front desk, Check in - was awesome! Greeted us with a smile and quickly checked us in as we chit chatted about the beautiful sunshine state we came from. 30 mins. or so after getting in the room we received a courtesy call from the front desk checking if the room was satisfactory. To the owner of this suite !! upon arrival we were met by your frt. desk greeter. After my wife & 3 yr old grandson & myself got to our room unpacked & headed rtie down to the pool room. Hence { 2ND TAIME WE STAYED HERE } we were enjoying ourselves very much when a young man named anthony walked in & greeted my family with open arms. that instantly got my attn: he looked us in the eye each & everyone of us & sadi well hello i'm Anthony & glad to have you here is there anything I can help you with just let me know. I john spoke up & asked where can I take my grandson for at for a lil fun. he recommended a family fun area just down the road. before we could get out of the pool he was back & advised me that this place was open & printed the address out for me & had called this entertainment center for us & advised them that we were on our way. we reached this place within 6mins no prob @ all { i'm small time guy big citys not my fav. } my grandson had a great time as well as my wife & I watching him play. Anthony you have here is very much worthy of running your suite as a gm. His sense of the customer expectations is very much what a co such of this is looking for to keep them very profitable in all aspects. To sum this up my wife grandson son his wife my father in law & his wife & gizzy the dog. 2nd time we been here. ! & will be back each time we come to this city for any overnite stay will be here as long as we get to have Anthony as your ambassador we will be more than happy. The check-in was easy but fees were added on that were not explained due to the online TripAdvisor reservation processing... We got into our rooms right away. The staff were professional and helpful throughout our stay. The price was o.k. when compared to some other options in the area. They gym was small and I was unable to turn on the T.V. My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend retreat while attending Halloween festivities with my grandson. Our reservation included a breakfast buffet (coffee, juice, waffles, sausage, eggs, cereal, etc..). This hotel was convenient to restaurants and the highway. The only complaint was that the pool was chilly; however, I enjoyed the hot tub in the pool area.

Stayed in Jacuzzi Room. Room was very clean and newly updated. the jacuzzi tub a bit small and dated. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommend restaurants in the area, check in was fast and so was check out. provided hot breakfast with different choices. would recommend this hotel

This hotel was great. We had access to a fitness center, pool, hot tub, and an amazing breakfast the next morning. We loved our room. Very clean. Walls are a little thin though but we just turned on the fan on the AC/Heat unit in the room to help.

The hotel was very comfortable, quiet, the room was great for relaxing and I could work in it very comfortably. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Clean and the staff was very nice. There were several places to eat around, had choices of Cracker Barrel and IHOP for breakfast.

We stopped at this hotel in Ft. Wayne as it was one of the last with any vacancies. The plastic seemed walls and doors added to its very outdated décor and actually were not that bad. We did not feel safe for whatever reason, possibly because the tiny lobby area was mobbed when we arrived. The breakfast was rather dismal and cooling the two rooms was difficult as there was a very small fan in the wall over the bedroom door that supposedly sent cool air into the next room. It was a noisy little sucker! If you're looking for a bed to lay down on to sleep and no more, this place is ok.

Due to my job I travel alot. I stay in this hotel 1 or 2 nights aweek. Always clean, fresh rooms with a nice warm spa to relax in and a nice pool to swim. Management and workers here are very professional. Never had a problem here and will continue to stay here.

Our main reason for being in town was to see a Fort Wayne Komets hockey game, so I wanted a hotel on the north side of town. However, this was close to way more than just the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Shopping (Glenbrook Mall), food, even everyday fixtures like Meijer (in case you forget a toothbrush). The hotel has a cute fireplace and seating area in the lobby in addition to the breakfast nook. The pool was too cold to comfortably swim. The hot tub was large, but for medical reasons, I couldn't use it.

BEST WESTERN – Fort Wayne, IN – We stopped by some broadcast stations on business in Ft. Wayne, and after calling every Marriott property in Ft. Wayne we settled on the BW. No matter what you see on TV, Best Western isn't even close to Marriott. In addition to going to bed in fear with the shenanigans going on, we were greeted by the most abominable color scheme, probably from the 1950's. The desk clerk was nice. The suite had plastic walls put together with those plastic strips, definitely 1950's. Breakfast was edible.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the separate rooms in the suite. We have small children and it was nice to be able to have a separate room for the children to sleep and take naps in while the adults were able to visit and watch TV in the other room.

I was staying for one night on business. I planned on taking some time to work in my room on the laptop. The internet would stop working after 30 minutes. I would have to keep logging on. I went into the bathroom and it smelled like smoke and not cigarette smoke. It stank like it the whole time I was there. I could not get rid of the smell. I was worried it would be stained on my clothes. I went to check out the pool and spa as advertised and neither were in working condition. The fitness center had one treadmill in it. I was not impressed with this hotel and will not be staying there again.

This hotel is very clean, friendly, convenient and a good value. I stayed at this property both times I vacationed in Fort Wayne and will again. I recommend the Best Western PLUS Fort Wayne Inn for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

We stayed at this location in September of 2015. You could tell that it is an older hotel that they have updated. Front desk staff was great. The room was quiet and comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Lobby area had a large granite bar with comfortable bar stools. Great area for large groups to get together instead of being cramped in a room. Lots of good restaurants in vicinity.

There was a bit of confusion about my reservation, but the desk clerk was very nice and gave me a free upgrade. I had a siting room and bedroom (queen sized bed). The sitting room was a little stuffy and the bedroom was not overly spacious but fine when all you are going to do is sleep. Hair in the bathtub and a loose toilet seat were drawbacks but the biggest negative was the location--not bad and close to the highway, but restaurants, etc. required a bit of a drive. The area is not industrial but borderline. Several other people checking in about the same time opted for pizza delivery, as recommended by the desk clerk.
