Best Western Plus Beach Resort

I usually take my time when researching a family vacation but when I saw this hotel I booked it without hesitation. it was PERFECT. Private beach; every rom has a provate ocean view balacony; walking distance to Timese Square either via beach or street; beach sports/rentals on property; incredible hot breakfast; very comfortable rooms with kitchenette. It was everything I was looking for and the price was reasonable and it came with the trustworthy Best Western name so there was no risk. We hope that you came back strong from hurricane Ian. Best of luck!

The Best Western is our favorite place to stay when visiting Fort Myers beach. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The hotel is clean and managed well. We love this place and the close proximity to the beach. Unfortunately we were evacuated during hurricane Ian and with the devastation to the island, I'm not sure when we will be able to return.

Our stay was very pleasant. We came to check out the hotel for our future reservation. We have reservations for 2 weeks in Feb 2023. We hope the hotel and area can rebuild. We love the location, the pool was nice. Our best regards to the staff during this time.

The hotel was quite, but there was a lot of smoking on the balconies. The room was clean. The breakfast was creative and the staff serving/setting up were wonderful. We walked to the Pink Shell Hotel for drinks in the evenings.

A wonderful hotel direct waterfront great pool and breakfast but most of all overall nice staff Joy at the desk a real gem The rooms are all waterfront with great beds. I would highly recommend this hotel

I definitely recommend this hotel. It's a nice and quiet place, pet friendly, amazing attractions, jetski and kayaks rental, the free breakfast is amazing you can get free amazing coffee all day long, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, the beach is right there, less than 100 ft from the hotel. Also you can rent chairs and umbrellas to enjoy all day long just sitting on the sand. It's one of the best resorts in Best Western franchise.

Excellent hotel to relax, enjoy the beach, and just chill. Service is great, very clean, breakfast good, and just walk to the beach, and enjoy your view from your balcony. Very quiet area. Joy at the reception area has been there for a long time, happy to see her again, and extremely nice and welcoming like always.

Great stay on FMB. Very good variety breakfast with fancy pancake maker and nice coffee selections. Pool area very clean and private beach area for guests. We enjoyed our balcony view of pool and beach. I will stay here again in a heartbeat.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights for a getaway. The room was very clean and the full kitchen was very convenient. We were able to go to the store and not worry about having to eat out for every meal. The balcony was perfect and we had the best view of the beach! Breakfast was delicious and they had everything you could want. Joy at the front desk was very welcoming. Overall a great stay.

We arrived and the check in was simple and we were warmly welcomed by staff. We were so impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and grounds. There is always someone cleaning! The breakfast was the best we've ever had at ANY hotel we've stayed at. The complimentary 24hr coffee service was a real bonus. If we had any complaints it would only be that we wish we could've stayed longer!

Big room with an amazong view, big confortable beds, small kitchen in the room, free parking, nice big pool with free inflatable donuts, good complimentary breakfast with view on the beach (pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausages…), close to restaurants, you can even rent a jet ski on the hotel beach!

We loved this location and will be back...we're dedicated BW loyalty members and this is one of the nicest BWs we've ever stayed at! Beautiful, well kept grounds, heavenly beachside views, friendly staff, terrific hot and cold free breakfast, no aggravating parking or resort fees....clean rooms. And one charming bird named CoCo - make sure you say hello to him! :) There was one big negative - and I only mention it to let other guests know it might be an issue for them as well - it wasn't the hotel's fault at all. There were one or more lowlife losers who obviously felt the "No Smoking in rooms or on balconies" policy didn't apply to them. It's not enough that they were free to smoke on the beach - they had to do it on their balconies. My spouse has diagnosed medical asthma and I don't do too well around cigarette smoke myself. We'd try going out in the am, at sunset or at night, hoping to catch some fresh air when these lowlifes weren't around, but no luck. So we were never able to enjoy our beautiful balcony. Quite disappointing, as we specifically booked a property that had oceanside balconies. But we don't blame the staffs at all, as we couldn't see who was smoking to report them.

It is a good place to go with your family. in the room you will find everything you need to kook If you are not planning to kook don't rent here because you will be paying for something you won't use. Please know that the attractions on the beach are not from the hotel and you have to pay them.

Super nice staff. Super helpful. Place was beautiful super clean. Always ready to answer my questions. Provided extra towels when needed. Coco the bird was a pure joy as well. Wouldn't change anything

This is the perfect vacation spot. Beachfront, pool, breakfast, free parking, walk to shops and restaurants. Room was clean, comfortable beds, nice kitchenette. The staff was very helpful. Oceanview balcony. Several ice and vending machines.

I'm a Chief Engineer of a different hotel in Ohio & my wife is the Director of Enviro services. Our biggest pre trip fear was we would not be happy with our room or the patio view. Best Western Plus Excided our expectations from the time we checked in. The Maintenance crew Cleaned & opened the pool sweep & washed the deck sidewalks even groomed the beach daily. As the Enviro team cleaned our rooms perfectly. Breakfast was on time & never rushed. GREAT JOB ALL Even Coco the house parrot was friendly. Thanks for a great stay Master Handy

My family and I have returned once again to the BESTWESTERN PLUS - it's a really good hotel! The whole staff is very kind and friendly, They work hard at keeping everything maintained. They have a decent breakfast to start your day. Coffee is 24/7 which is really nice. You can't get better than being right on the beach. Your able to rent jet skis or if you want to go para sailing there's a private kiosks right on the beach-you can rent beach chairs from also. Time square is a 10 minute walk with plenty of restaurants!

This hotel is super clean and comfortable, close enough to walk to shops and restaurants, but far enough away from the public beach area for peace and quiet. Friendly, helpful staff, nice pool and great breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

I highly recommend this place. It is beautiful, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, price is fair compared with services provided. Since I discovered this place, I come every year with my family.

We live 25 minutes away but off the beach. We checked out today after a 3 night getaway, our 6th escape to this hotel. Very good restaurants and shopping at walking distance. We visited Mr Tequila, Doc Ford Rum Bar, Sunset Beach Tropical Grill, Dixie Fish Co, PierSide and Grille and Bella Mozzarella. Beach is just wonderful.

This beachfront hotel surpassed my expectations in every way. Prior to coming down to Fort Myers, I researched hotels in the area. The Best Western Beach Resort had excellent reviews on the Internet. The friendly hotel staff lived up to the reviews- these included those at the front desk, breakfast area, cleaning crew, and grounds crew. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay here. Thank you to all the staff for all you do to make this place welcoming and beautiful. The well maintained grounds outside and tropical views were spectacular. The walk to the beach is only the softest sand and only a short distance to the water. Loved that beach chair and wave runner rentals were offered daily. A shout out to Coco the parrot too for his engaging and entertaining daily conversations. We will definitely be back to see you again in the future. Based on positive responses to photos shared with our friends of the resort, they will be staying with you in the future too. Book a stay here because you won't be sorry if you do.

We loved this hotel and would choose to stay again. Right on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean. The full size fridge and freezer was wonderful! The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful for someone that does not travel much!

My family and I have been staying at this hotel for over 20 years. With great weather and great customer service we enjoyed our 7 night stay again this year.Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and recognized as loyalty members.The whole staff(shout out to Joy and Rich) is always ready to accommodate your every need.We love the ocean front views from our fifth floor rooms.The rooms and grounds are always kept in great condition. I liked the fact that the breakfast buffet is back to self serve.Already making plans for next year, so be sure to keep up the good work! Can't wait to see everyone again!

If you're looking for an affordable beach getaway, this is your spot! It saddens us to see the negative reviews. If you're looking for an opulent beach hotel with a cabana bar and room service, you will not find it anywhere near this price so keep moving. If you are looking for a spectacularly tropical ocean view, from a VERY clean room, WITH a fully equipped kitchenette and a bath tub, close to the action but far enough to be relaxing, with close (and free!) parking and no extra charge for an ocean view this, my friends, is the place. This hotel is CLEAN, and it shows. While a little small (how big can you be and have every room facing the ocean?), we did not have any issues with waiting for the elevator, accessing the free breakfast (the bacon did NOT disappoint) or finding a place to sit while we ate as other reviewers have mentioned. We actually took our food outside and ate at a very clean picnic table. We were treated to the smells of some very good food in the evenings from other guests who used the beachside barbeque grill. We rented an umbrella and chairs for the day from the onsite vendor and they did the job just fine. From the immediately adjacent beach we watched jet skiers, parasailers and boats pass by all day. Even saw a pirate ship! We left our chairs for a portion of the day and came back. When we returned, we saw a squabble with our "neighbor" who returned to his chair to find a squatter. The woman moved, but oddly still camped out right next to him. Takes all kinds. The bed was a little squishy for our taste, but not unsleepable by any means. The linens were light, airy and clean. Also, the warm air coming from the AC unit made one side of our balcony pretty warm, so we had to shift the chairs to the other side, which limited the view a little bit, but we could see the beach and that's what we were after. We did not notice the AC being loud as other reviewers have identified. This hotel is located a short way from the Times Square area and the beach is not nearly as crowded as the one nearest the pier. There is plenty of room. We did not use the pool (it is small, but the ocean is right there), and we did see a few times where the pool towel supply was depleted, so maybe bring your own beach towel just in case. We heard several guests talking about how warm the pool was. Be advised there is no bar or restaurant onsite, so you'll need to plan a little bit ahead, but the price point is set with this in mind. Restaurants are within walking distance. Our room seemed freshly painted, the linens were clean as was everything else. The outside garden area with shuffleboard and Adirondack chairs was super charming and looked lovely against the backdrop of the beach. It's truly a unique setting. We will for sure be returning.

We had great 3 days for a family vacation in the BWP Beach resort in Fort Myers. We liked the most: - perfect location for beach holiday - nice garden area with shuffleboard - very nice staff; reward status recognized with upgrade To mention: - relatively small pool for number of guests - very small breakfast area for number of guests - rooms are not newly refurbished; would need some renovation soon;

This is truly our home away from home. We walk in the door and are greeted my Joy or Eric. They remember us among all the visitors they have every year. The resort is comfortable, clean, and all ocean front. Never a bad view.

My family and I stayed 8 days. Absolute best customer service- shout out to Joy! Beautiful private beach. Super laid back and very clean. Walking distance to many places to eat and drink. We've never been to FMB and weren't sure what to expect. Would definitely stay again.

My sister and I stayed in the oversized double bed room - the balcony is huge, the pool is clean and well taken care of every day, perfect spot for sunsets and the beach is right out the back door. We had a wonderful time and WILL be back!

We stayed here for five nights (5/15-5/20) and it was perfect for us. We loved the location and happy to be able to rent an umbrella and chairs for the week. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! We had a few maintenance issues (broken faucet, alarm clock that wouldn't shut off) and the maintenance guy was there immediately to address the issues. The daily breakfast was really nice and the women overseeing it were great. We only had housekeeping service our room twice but they were very good and were quick to give us towels, TP, etc. on the days we didn't have service. The only slight negative is that I wish the pool area was bigger and more open than being fenced in - other than that everything was perfect and we will be back!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. It is a very nice hotel, the rooms are nice, the grounds are gorgeous.and it is maintained very well. The location is very good and you just walk out the door and you are on the beach. It costs $35.00 a day to rent beach chair.I think this is ridiculous. I would have given the the hotel 5 stars but I was not impressed with anyone at the front desk. Most were were a bit unfriendly and never overly helpful. They could use some training in pleasantness. Other than that, I would recommend and would stay here again.

My husband and I like to travel to Florida once a year and this time we wanted to try a place on the gulf side. I chose this hotel due to all the 5 star reviews and comments. I have to say I am very disappointed with this hotel and I find it hard to believe all the 5 stars are genuine. This hotel does need some serious updating throughout. Our room was clean but small and very dated. The beds were decent. The air conditioner was very old and although it did work, it ran very loudly and really does need to be replaced with a brand new one. That would not be an easy fix due to the fact it is built into the wall and that is probably the reason why it is still there. The refrigerator also made some weird loud knocking noises. We did ask for a change in room but were told there was none available. This hotel does serve hot breakfasts- buffet style using white thin paper plates/plastic silverware. I like a little salt on my eggs but the scrambled eggs were very salty. YES, they do put salt on their eggs (I am not exaggerating). The breakfast staff were not friendly... no smiles and almost seemed annoyed. It was so odd to see staff like that in a hotel. We only had one breakfast there. The good news is that there are so many wonderful restaurants along the beach and in town -all within walking distance- to have a great breakfast, lunch and dinner and reasonably priced. There is a Publix food store but you will need an Uber to get there.... 25 minutes each way. We were told by the drivers that traffic could be horrible there and Ubers don't always want to go to the beaches to pick people up. The beach is wonderful!! Warm calm waters full of dolphins and stingrays which was a treat to see. There are chairs and umbrellas to use for a $36/day fee. I have to warn that the chairs also need to be updated. They are very old narrow wooden sling chairs which come in two pieces and are not fully attached so they come apart each time you move them. They also squeak. The umbrellas however are nice. They have jet skis to rent right out front and very nice workers on the beach. The pool is nice. There are much nicer chairs to lay on at the pool but there are no umbrellas except at the few tables in the corners. They need to change the gate coming into the pool area. Every time someone walks in, the gate slams shut behind them and it is very startling, loud. This might sound petty but it really does become annoying. The last thing I want to mention was that when we got home and reviewed the bill we noticed a gratuity tip charge for housekeeping. We ALWAYS leave a generous tip for the housekeepers each day with a note saying "Thank You" next to the cash. It would have been nice to know about this extra charge. If it were written somewhere- we did not see it. Despite the negatives, my husband and I did enjoy our time relaxing on the beach, eating at great restaurants, watching amazing sunsets and taking long walks.

To begin, you should know that I travel on average of 50 nights a year for business and pleasure and I will also state that the vast majority of my stays are with Hilton or Marriott properties. I was skeptical when my wife selected a Best Western as our hotel for this vacation, but based upon the reviews I agreed. The rooms were exceptionally small and it was hard to find space to navigate with luggage taking up what little space was available. Although I will say that the rooms are clean, they are in dire need of updating. The air conditioning system sounded like it was on it's last legs although it did cool the room. We tried the free breakfast and I must say that if you are on a low salt diet, stick with the bagels and cereal, since the eggs were loaded with salt; as were most of the hot selections. The hotel staff for the most part were lukewarm with a couple of exceptions that I would label as "snarky". As far as location is concerned, the hotel sits on a perfect stretch of beach and is a short walk to the center of town. Restaurants within the area are very good and our favorites are "Nervous Nellies" on the bayside near the bridge and If you like Sushi the try "Zushi Zushi" near the pier. "Snug Harbor" is also a good choice. But I would say that you will be hard pressed to find a bad meal on the beach. Regardless of where you eat, make sure you make it to the beach or better yet head to the end of the pier for sunset. Ubers are a relatively easy to get but expect about 15-20 minutes since the center of the beach area may be a little snarled with traffic. So in all I would say, a great location but if you are used to the service and quality of a Marriott or Hilton, this is probably not where you want to stay.

Our trip was fantastic from the minute we stepped through the doors of the resort. The front desk staff was smiling, kind, informative and helpful. The grounds were clean and pretty. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The pool and beach were relaxing. Everything was right there!!! We Loved It!!! Definitely will be back!

The Best Western Plus on Fort Myers Beach is one of the best managed hotels I visit; I have stayed at this hotel since 1985, most recently in January '22, my wife and I are visiting again May 6-19th, 2022. This hotel is well managed, the staff is extremely attentive to guests, as well as the longevity of employees working at the hotel is impressive. As a regular Bonvoy (Marriott), loyalest, I would place the Best Western Plus in my top 5 hotels worldwide. Although minimal amenities, the location, cleanliness, and staff more than make up for the lack of amenities, like a restaurant or full service gift shop. However, you are within walking distance of great restaurants and gift shops, so really no loss. I would give this hotel 5-stars.

This is a great hotel on a fantastic beach. The beach sand was so soft and lots of shells for the collector. The heated pool was clean. The rooms are a little dated but clean and have a wonderful view of the gulf.

We visited first week of March. Great weather and spring breakers were at a minimum. Right on the beach and easy to rent chars. A short walk to Times square for restaurants and shopping. Well equipped kitchen, very clean everywhere and friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a little weird because of the hotel's covid protocol, but I understand it is back to normal now. Keep up the great job!

The room, the pool, the beach, and all the other amenities were clean and easily accessible. The rooms were amazingly quiet and the beds were so comfortable my wife and I got the best sleep we have had in a really long time including in our home. Despite having one of the main roads out front and beach goers, some with kids, on the beach side we didn't hear a sound.

We stayed at the Fort Meyer location and it was so much more than expected. It was by far the most beautiful of all the places located on the beach. (We walked up and down the beach each day) The pool was heated, beach towels were furnished every day. There was a service on the beach where you could rent your umbrellas w/chairs, rent a jet ski or panel board. This staff was warm and friendly and the breakfast was great with eggs, gravy, biscuits amongst other things being served. Highly recommend.

Didn't want to leave. Location is perfect being literally on the beach and the perfect distance from Times Square to be quiet at night but only a 5 minute walk either by beach or path. Rooms are clean with kitchen facilities and great balconies, all overlooking the sea. AC was good and quiet. Room was serviced every day to a high standard and stocked well with toiletries including soaps, shampoo and conditioners. Breakfast was simple and buffet style but more than enough and varied each day. The staff were constantly keeping everything stocked and clean. Coffee and tea is available 24x7 but for any items needed, staff are available, vending machines are on site and a 7 Eleven only 2 or 3 minutes walk away. Car parking on site is free for guests with elevator and stairs if needed. Beach has the perfect sand, soft and peppery at the back and hard near the sea for good walking. I generally only review when it's very good or very bad, I guess you can tell which type this is. Highly recommend.

We've stayed at our share of high end hotels and we were impressed with our Best Western experience. The rooms are a bit small but have everything you need including a full size refrigerator, microwave, cooktop plus cabinets full of the essentials. The room was updated and very clean. The breakfast bar was delicious and plentiful. The pool has plenty of chairs, towels and a beautiful view. Cabanas, umbrellas, chairs available for rent just foot steps to the beach & water. We will stay here again!

We have been staying here for many years and they never disappoint. Every room faces the ocean, the pool is heated and located right on the beach so you get the best of both the beach and the pool, and they serve breakfast every morning.

I love this hotel because nothing is ever a problem! Joy at the front desk makes you feel like family! I am a Travel Agent and I tell people this is as close to the Caribbean as you can't get without leaving the states!

Loved the location and exterior of the property. Rooms were as expected. Beds were comfortable except the pull out sofa that was very outdated and dirty. Staff was smoking below our balcony which was annoying to smell on a beach vacation.

Great place to stay. Quiet but only a short walk to the centre of Fort Myers Beach. Basic but totally adequate breakfast, good beach facilities and friendly and helpful staff. Free parking and excellent free WiFi.

My first stay here & surprised how nice it was. The court yard really gives it the resort feel. The staff was very friendly. I love the fact that the room gets checked by maintenance before you check in! The location is walkable to Time Square if you don't want to wait on the free Tran. I didn't like the wooden beach chairs. I rented the umbrella & layed on the ground. Others bought chairs & umbrellas from the souvenir shops.

Rooms spacious, not noisy, pool quite nice as well. Whole property is well maintained If you're going to leave this idyllic spot for a day trip, the traffic can get a bit much. Plan accordingly. Otherwise walking to everything is quite easy, or do a moped, bike or in some case a golf cart. Beautiful wide beach to walk on, bike on, sit on, star gaze on, play games on, etc. Plenty of reasonably priced chair with umbrella rentals conveniently right in front of hotel. Scads of shells to pick up for a memory of this lovely area. Park the car & stay awhile.

The staff at Best Western Beach Plus is incredible. We had a wedding on the beach and the Manger Rich made it all possible. Also, Mike was extremely helpful the day of the wedding! I am so thankful for the kindness of everyone at Best Western Beach Plus! You really made our dreams a reality!!!

We spent seven nights at the Best Western Plus. It is a short walk to Times Square, but it is very quiet and a family friendly resort. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to provide a great experience. Lovely grounds and beach. Rooms are slightly small, but very well appointed (the kitchen is a big plus). Did I mention how quiet it is? No noise from other rooms.

You will avoid quite a bit of traffic with this northern location off the bridge. It is only ~7-10 minute walk to Time Square. I felt very safe and it has adequate parking. No valet parking needed. The view from the room is breathtaking. It is very clean and the kitchen is a bonus. Our mattress was very comfortable. In front of this hotel, chair/umbrella rentals are available which is a huge plus.

Beautiful beach resort walking distance to time square, where you will find many restaurants and boutiques, rooms are very comfortable, nice size veranda to watch the beautiful sunsets! Staff was very accommodating and pleasant.

I have nothing but good things to say about this resort. From the time we arrived until the time we checked out, our experience was very pleasant. Our flight came in at 6:00am and we arrived at the hotel at 7:00am. We asked is there was anyway we could get our room a little earlier. They not only got us in a couple hours early, but fed us breakfast, gave us our parking pass, and let us enjoy the amenities while we waited. The breakfast had a good variety and coffee was available all day. The grounds and the beach were very nice. Every room had a beach view and the pool is heated. Cocoa the hotel parrot was in the lobby and exchanged greetings with me. I've read reviews saying the water pressure in the shower was low, but I beg to differ. Our water was always hot and the water pressure was perfect !

Great hotel, location and breakfast. The room and property were well maintained, The view of the beach from the room was amazing. Restaurants and shopping are in walking distance. My only complaint is that a gentleman at the front desk was very rude to us when we asked for two parking passes. He could have explained the parking limitations in a much more courteous way. We actualy did get the two parking passes after a long lecture.

I booked this hotel 11 months in advance ahead of our joint 50th Birthday and requested a room with a fabulous view. Upon arrival we were able to check in early and it became obvious why when we got in the room, with a view of .......a palm tree! How could they get it so wrong. we had to mess about complaining then had to check out the following morning and store our luggage until another room was ready and I just felt very undervalued after not being able to visit for two years due to border restrictions, I felt like they hadn't even looked at my message ahead of my stay which incidentally was for 6 nights at roughly £400 a night! Poor, very poor.

Chose the BWBR because we wanted a room on the beach. The hotel is a bit older but is very well maintained and CLEAN. Employees are all very friendly. All rooms are beachfront and have a small kitchenette with a full refrigerator, stove top and microwave. All of the kitchen basics are included (dishes, pans, toaster, etc.) and are clean and in good condition. Rooms were smaller but very comfortable. We had a king sized bed (one of the most comfortable I have had in a hotel), a chair, a dresser, 2 night stands, small breakfast bar with 2 bar stools. The bathroom is also small but adequate. Biggest negative was it took a VERY long time to get hot water both at the sink and the shower, but we learned to let the shower run for a few minutes. Also 2 chairs on the balcony where we sat and listened to the waves. It is a 10-15 min walk to everything (Bowditch Park to the north, Times Square to the south). Rooms were very quiet - never heard anyone next to us, above or below. There is a heated pool with plenty of lounge chairs. Beach towels are provided. There is a free breakfast daily. Breakfast was basic free hotel breakfast food. Due to Covid you weren't allowed to get your own food however there were 2 very nice women who got it for you. Hours were 7-10:30 am which I found very helpful - it never seemed to be too busy. The beach is beautiful. Warm sand, very clean.

Traveled last month with family and had 3 rooms. Here are the pros and cons of this resort based on our stay: PROS: Location. 10-15 min walk to everything. Very convenient. On the beach, which was wide, and all rooms are beachfront. Refunded money for 1 room reserved that I had to cancel due to family member getting sick right before we arrived, and I appreciated that. Rooms were very quiet - literally never heard anyone next to us, above or below. Full kitchen was great. Heated pool was nice on cooler days. Breakfast staff (older woman-didn't get her name) was super nice. CONS: Rooms are dated, barely any water pressure in the shower, bathroom sink was plumbed opposite (hot was cold/cold was hot) and couldn't hardly get any hot water at the sink; housekeeping was VERY hit/miss (ie 2 different days they literally only made 1 out of the 2 beds in our room), never swept the floors (I did with the filthy/hairy broom in the closet), overheard employee being very vocal and vulgar about guests; laundry room hadn't been swept/wiped down in a LONG time; for the price point of these rooms, the beach chairs and laundry use should be included; not enough chairs at the pool; room towels and beach towels are pretty thin/worn; quality of breakfast was below average. Again, for the price point I didn't see the quality/service - best thing was location.

Great service. Very clean. Perfect location for us. We love Ft.Myers area and this Best Western is becoming our favorite spot to stay. It's close to everything especially the pier area where lots of the Restaurants on the water are. Be back next year for sure.

We are staying in the cottage and are extremely disappointed. We are spending $550.00+ a night for very dirty accommodations. It's obvious it has not had a good cleaning in a significant amount of time. This is way beyond asking for housekeeping to come spruce it up. The regular rooms may be fine but the cottage certainly isn't. Joy at the front desk is excellent.

Breakfast could be improved, staff serve the food. I understand the idea behind it; however, while waiting for staff you are standing in a crowded area in a line in between all the tables full of people. The tables were not wiped down between guests' use nor did the staff wear masks while serving the food. If you are attempting to make breakfast "safer" then either go all the way or leave the breakfast the way it was. I would prefer breakfast return to the way it was. Also there was no donuts or muffins of any kind the 5 days were there. My kids were disappointed Coco was not at the hotel during the week we were there. The pool area was great, clean and the water was nice and warm even though the weather was cool so we could still swim which was very appreciated. Have stayed here twice and would return.

Really enjoyed our stay. Can't beat the location. Close to the beach and pool with a short walk to Times Square. The view of the pool and beach from our balcony was great. Loved watching the sunset. Breakfast was a bit of a challenge despite the phenomenal efforts by the staff (Covid protocols, broken coffee machine). Broken vending machine also presented a challenge but the front desk reimbursed me with no questions asked. Overall, a great stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Just returned, after 2 yrs, to the Best Western. Nothing has changed, except the breakfast where Blanca, Cindy and Letty go above & beyond to serve you a generous variety with smiling faces every am. Joy always assures our room is ready for us, and very helpful from behind the desk. The cleaning staff does a great job - especially Darlene who, every day, did a super job. We really appreciate the lovely grassy area with the 'view' - also available from every room. Already made return reservations, hopefully! They take care of you.....that's what they do!

We've gotten to know everyone and look forward to coming back year after year. Everything about our stay is so comfortable it's like being at home away from home. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else!

Upon arrival the parking lot and building exterior look nice, it's once you step into the lobby and dated rooms is where is going bad. Room was dirty at best. Haven't cleaned the tile floors is years as the grout is severely stained. Walls and doors are in bad shape with paint and marks all over them. Bath tub caulk was cracked and moldy. No water pressure and shower was either freezing or hot no middle ground. The grounds are very nice with a nice grassy area and plenty of beach front. For what you pay nightly I was surprised to see a upcharge for the beach chairs. Over all I would not stay here again as the staff, rooms and overall fell was just not top notch for the price paid.

Hotel is right on the beach with oceanfront rooms. Very clean and spacious. Grounds are well kept. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a quiet place away from the crowds, this is it.

This was a great experience. The beach is family & pet -friendly. The room was well organized and had everything a family requires. There was nothing we were wanting. And to top it off we could sit on the balcony and watch the sun set over the sea.

BW was clean, close to all the action and the beach was only steps away from our door. We have stayed there before and it's our destination spot for many years to come. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning and then the pool and beach after. It was so close to Town Square for entertainment and night life. Within walking distance was a big factor for us staying on the beach.

We stayed for one night before heading to Sanibel. The front office staff was extremely friendly,accommodating and helpful. The courtyard, pool, and beach area were all lovely - we truly enjoyed our stay!!

We've stayed all 3 hotels on this beach & are now only returning to this resort. The location & comfort are the absolute best. Being able to walk out on a perfectly manicured lawn &/or beach is the best way to start a day. Landscaper Bill was there & answered questions about the lawn & trees. I'm impressed that Bill personally was there doing the work. Rich at the front desk has been there awhile, and remains positive, friendly & helpful. Debbie was also helpful at check-in. We missed seeing their bird Coco this trip, which is another highlight. Room & breakfast service staff are exceptional. Everywhere to go is walkable with their location. Water sports are available in front of hotel. Having a refrigerator, stove & outdoor grill is a bonus. Amazing Sunsets, with every room having a balcony overlooking beautiful palms, beach, ocean. Oh, also shuffle board & Adirondack chairs are a hit on lawn. WE LOVE THIS HOTEL!!!!

love coming here from the cold north. the staff is always friendly and genuine. scenery is wonderful as the rooms all face the beach.. except for a couple that are behind the pool on the ground floor.

December 1st - 4th 2021. All the Best Western Plus staff were amazing. Front Dest, Breakfast server, Housekeepers and Beach Rental greeted us each day as family and treated us the same. Room 212 was perfect. Directly over the pool and direct view of the beach and sunsets each day. Hotel was the perfect location. Close enough to walk and enjoy the surrounding shops and restaurants but far enough to avoid late nightlife crowds. Beach in front of hotel is white soft sand. Chairs and Umbrella can be rented if you do not have your own. $30/day for 2 chairs and an umbrella. This worked out perfect for us. Great location for long walks on the beach. Joy, at the front desk. No words can describe her dedication to Best Western and its occupants. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and went to great lengths to make sure we would make our Saturday morning (8am) Key West Express Ferry Ride. Thank you all! We will be back soon.

Can't say enough about the staff at this hotel. They are kind, helpful, and friendly. From the reception staff, housekeepers, kitchen staff, beach rental staff, to the custodians; we received 5-star treatment. All rooms above the ground floor have sea views. The beach in front of the hotel is a sandy wide expanse. You can walk for miles, which we love. The pier, restaurants, and shops are a quick ten minute walk south. But the hotel is far enough away to miss the massive crowds in that area. You do have to rent chairs and umbrellas ($30.00 a day for 2 chairs and an umbrella), or bring your own. This seems to be the norm on the island. Rooms were clean, with updated kitchenettes. Beds were firm, which we like. Balcony gave great views including pretty sunsets. Enjoyed seeing starfish, sand dollars, and lots of shells, as we walked along the northern end of the island. Keep an eye out for dolphins playing off shore. When we come back to Ft. Myers Beach, this will be where we stay.

This was so much more beautiful than what the pictures were online. It was a tropical paradise. Very conveniently located close to Times Square and many restaurants and shopping areas. A free trolley to pick you up and drop you off each day going all over Fort Myers Beach area. Beautiful nature reserves to tour. So much to do and see nearby. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful and a tropical dream. Very clean, continental breakfast was served every day and the heated pool was a delight.

This was an amazing place. A bit pricey for 2 retired people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...the beach, the nearness to some super eating places, easily available transportation, lots to do and see.

This hotel has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Beach, pool, breakfast and an awesome team. All the rooms are beachfront. The staff are an awesome bunch of people. I recommend this hotel HIGHLY.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. Paid a bit more than I wanted. I guess it was worth it to spend uninterrupted time with my mom and daughter. A short walk to times square so we didn't have to deal with parking and the awful traffic in that area.

Overall good location but not worth the price. Constant noise coming from behind the room. Breakfast was average. Beach amenities were good. Room space was adequate. Family friendly. Check in and check out was fast

My husband and I went to Fort Myers Beach for 2 days. The hotel is very nice. Checking was very fast, and the two ladies at the front desk were very friendly ( Debbie and Jordan). The location is perfect, near to the pier. Our room was very nice in front of the ocean. Nice view. We were very happy there. I recommend this hotel

Loved the location right on the beach. Room was very large with great kitchen area. Well sized bathroom. Hotel had lots of chairs and seating outside facing beach as well as nice sized pool. Each room has a good sized balcony. Very quiet for November, not overly crowded on beach. Great beach area for looking for shells and sand was firm enough for bike riders. Walking distance to some downtown shops/restaurants.

This hotel has a great location right on a beautiful part of the beach. The rooms have all you need ie large comfortable bed, balcony overlooking the sea, kitchen, bathroom, safe. It is a short walk to Times Sq where the restaurants are. This is the fourth time we've been here and we would definitely return.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus for 3 nights last week. We were VERY happy with our choice! The hotel is small in a good way. SO close to the beach! The pool was very nice. Not too crowded at all. We were able to rent beach chairs/umbrellas/cabanas every day at the beach for a reasonable price. The grounds of the hotel were very nice. Spotless and the landscaping was beautiful. You always saw a worker sweeping or cleaning the grounds. The free breakfast was a plus. Different menu daily (some things like waffles stayed the same). Room was on the smaller side but we didn't care; we weren't in there much. Our balcony was right in front of the beach and gulf. So beautiful and relaxing. Short walk (maybe 5-7 minutes) to Times Square for dinner/drinks/shopping. Only complaint would be that there is no food anywhere after breakfast. I think they should sell sandwiches/snacks during the day. We didn't want to walk to the 7/11 or Times Square during the day in our bathing suits for a sandwich.

Nice hotel but the rooms are very small! The included breakfast was great and Cindy in the breakfast area was wonderful. She provided great and personable customer service. The ocean views are wonderful and the hotel was super clean!

Great location, great staff and a wonderful place to escape for five days. I had a few questions prior to our arrival and my emails were answered nearly immediately, which was a nice change of pace from some other chains I've stayed at. Check-in was easy and since our flight was bumped up four hours it was much appreciated that they were able to let us do that early. The location on the beach is perfect, but if a pool is more your style, it's clean and there's plenty of seating available. The free breakfast was always served with a smile, and it was a great start to the day. Loved having the small kitchen, so we could use the refrigerator and microwave for drinks and snacks.

This is a great place to stay. It's literally right next to the beach. It wasnt too crowded. The rooms are cozy with an excellent view from the balcony. If I was going back to the Ft Myers beach area I would be staying here again.

Enjoyed a terrific 3 night stay with my wife and another couple.Both parties were delighted with their top floor rooms that offered an amazing view of the ocean and pier.The building and grounds were impeccable. Rich and Joy at the front desk were extremely helpful during our stay. Our only regret was that the trip was too short! Keep up the great work and we will be back in the summer!

Very nice Hotel right on the beach. Been there many times with great experiences. Nice short walk to down town with many restaurants and the pier. If you walk the opposite direction you can walk to the point as i call it, it's the end of the island, it's approx. 2 miles round trip.

Loved this beach front resort, everyone working there was pleasant and eager to please. It was clean, the breakfast was awesome - congrats on figuring out how to still serve a good breakfast with everything going on. It was great to be able to walk out the front door and be right on the beach and also walkable to all the downtown shops and restaurants. The beds were comfy, my ONLY complaint is the pillows were awful and could use replacement. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this Best Western at least 20 times. My wife and I enjoy this hotel over the others in the area. This time we stayed in their cottage and it was great, having the beach at your front door. Hope to stay there again.

Although our room was a little dated it was very clean and comfortable with a kitchenette. Our balcony overlooked the ocean and some rooms also overlooked the pool. Breakfast was adequate and served directly to guests

We left hectic Miami behind with the intention of finding a calm place to stay. We found it at the Best Western in Fort Myers Beach. The blond haired desk clerk who checked us in was very friendly and conversational. Our room, like all of the rooms in the hotel has a balcony room facing the ocean. The balcony chairs are comfortable. The room has a good-sized TV with numerous cable channels, including premium channels. The bathroom is spacious. As you enter the room there's a small kitchen area with a countertop and two chairs. There's a full-sized refrigerator, a small stovetop, and a microwave oven. They have a kitchen stocked with dishes, eating utensils, etc. The pool is nice and warm. It is also clear and clean looking. There are plenty of lounge chairs. There are tables with umbrellas. We have enjoyed the tropical style gardens with Adirondack chairs. From there or the beach you can view beautiful sunsets. Breakfast consisted of standard hotel fixings, with eggs, sausage, fruit, and cereal. We are spending a total of four nights here and we have enjoyed ourselves.

We liked this hotel location and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The beach could use someone to rake and clean it but we enjoyed it regardless. The ability to rent chairs and umbrellas was a plus.

We love this hotel because it is right on the gulf and has a beach front pool.... we also like the kitchens in the suites and that they do not nickel and dime you to death.... very friendly staff, and our children are extra so it is nice when the staff is patient.... which they always are

We love the proximity to the beach, and pier. Plenty of parking. And we were thrilled to be moved up off of the first floor due to the potential storm threat. This was our second time within 3 months at BWR and in the process of booking again for January. Honestly, I don't event look anywhere else. This resort has everything for our family. I can't say enough about the location. We do not rent a car because we can walk everywhere. Breakfast included makes for a quiet calm morning not having to run out to eat and the ladies at the breakfast area are wonderful. Front desk staff always are friendly and helpful. I must give lots of credit to the cleaning staff as well. Sometimes they get overlooked but not in my review. The attention to detail when cleaning rooms is above expectations and I thank you for that. I could go on and on but the fact that we have stayed twice and having no need to look anywhere else says it all. Thank you for making our stays fantastic!!

it is a beach front hotel, which is awesome, it is great for 2 -3 nights, the room is too small to hold anything specially if you have a family & kids the hotel is a little bit old need some renovation

This was our second stay this hotel, it is the perfect hotel, property is conveniently located, plenty of things to do within walking distance. ALL of the rooms are oceanfront, the rooms are equipped with a full size kitchen , very comfortable beds, décor is up to date, nice balcony with a table and two chairs. The breakfast buffet was very good, better than most places. Front desk personnel were great, especially Rick who was a lot of fun, we had a great time laughing and kidding around with him. We are coming back in October for five nights.

We traveled with our 25 year olds sons and 1 girlfriend. The breakfast was done differently due to COVID, but we were glad they still offered it. I actually like this way better than the buffet style that is normally offered. The resort is right on the beach and walking distance to Times Square, where all of the bars and restaurants are.

My family and I have returned once again to the Bestwestern Plus on Estero Blvd- In FtMyersBeach You're just steps away from the Gulf of Mexico. They have a nice pool & do a good job at keeping the grounds and Rooms nice and clean. They serve hot a breakfast which now the breakfast staff-will serve you you due to there protocol from COVID . Time square is a 10 min walk from the hotel-lots of good restaurants such as Pete's time out,Nervous Nellys etc…

We just returned from a three night stay at this hotel. The customer service was exceptional. We had a dinner reservation one night and our scheduled Lyft didn't show. Rich went above and beyond to assist us with transportation and ensure we got to our reservation. Service feels personal like a family-owned business; the ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful as well. We were sad to leave Coco the parrot as we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with him every day. The beach was wonderfully clean and uncrowded. The view from our room was breathtaking. The free breakfast was good and plentiful. Beach towels are available in the lobby. We loved the chairs and umbrellas on the beach and thought the rental price was reasonable; they offer a discount if you book them for multiple days. Many activities available on-site. We had some wonderful seafood at nearby restaurants within walking distance. It was a wonderful, relaxing trip that was made easy by the customer service and amenities offered at this hotel.

The room was beautiful (beachfront double with kitchen) - but a little small with 4 people. Grounds and pool were lovely - short walk to Times Square without feeling like you are in the middle of the insanity. Highly recommend. The beach area is not the best on the island - but it is clean and well cared for

Not only was the hotel clean, staff friendly, and a great location on the beach, but Tropical Storm/Hurricane Elsa came through during our stay. The staff was extremely helpful, and made us feel safe and pressured for the storm. This was an overall great experience! We will come again.

Lots of activities to rent on beach. Pierside Grill & Bar is awesome with great food. Seating inside and out overlooking Ocean.

Having stayed at this property multiple times my only concern was how they were dealing with the pandemic.I'm happy to report that they have not missed a beat.From the front desk (Rich,Joy,Scott) to the breakfast staff and maintenance crew everybody was spot on.While lots of places are struggling the BWPLUS continues to excel,keep up the great work.Don't believe you will find a better value on FMB!

Best Western Beach resort offers the amenities to make your vacation totally relaxing. The staff is top notch. The location affords you to walk to many fine restaurants and businesses. Security is paramount for guests. This is our yearly family getaway!

We stayed at the BW Beach Resort for 2 nights in early June. We were so impressed with the resort that we would love to return at some time. It was interesting to chat with several others staying at the hotel who said that they come often, some yearly. We could see why. Checking in was very easy, and the two ladies at the front desk were very welcoming (Debbie and Jordan) although whenever I spoke with someone at the front desk, they were always friendly. Our room was ready even though the hotel was full and it was not quite noon. We chose BW Beach Resort because we wanted a place that was on a private beach and were certain to have an ocean view. We had all of that (room 412), and the beach itself is absolutely beautiful. The white sand is soft and lovely to walk along. The walk to the gulf was such a short distance from the building and you can go quite far before you're over your head. We rented umbrella and chairs one day which couldn't have been easier (set it up the afternoon before, with the guys working the booth right on the beach). We spent one afternoon while it rained on our patio overlooking the gulf, as well as evenings, listening to the waves. We kept our door ajar as another reviewer wrote, to listen throughout the night. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and our room was large enough and updated. Full refrigerator, mini-kitchen area, but we pretty much only used fridge for storing cold drinks and making ice, and the sink was nice to use to wash up a few things. Bed was very comfortable. It will be nice when the breakfast area can be self-serve again, but there was a nice selection and we could go back for seconds. The tables and chairs outside were great for breakfast, and we often sat in the Adirondack chairs when we wanted to be out of the sun and read. The pool has a good selection of lounge chairs and they are perfect to watch the sun set over the water.

We were in room 307 but had to move to 305 due to the sewer smell in 307. Maintenance poured some bleach down the drain but it only helped for a while. Sewer smell is somewhat common at Fort Meyers Beach (FMB) especially when it rains. The Best Western is a nice hotel and very clean. Post COVID they only clean your room when you ask. While they did have a budget breakfast buffet they have employees that get the food for you. You basically stand in line in the lobby and when it is your turn you tell them what you want. Then you can sit inside elbow to elbow with others or go outside and find somewhere to sit and eat. Most days there was a wide assortment including eggs and bacon or sausage. A few of the employees getting the food for the customers were nice others not so much. I got barked at one morning when I asked about bacon with "look at the menu" in a snide fashion. No problem, no tip in the tip jar for you. The pool was pretty much useless for us as large families would claim corners of the pool deck with tables and pile their stuff up on the tables to "claim" their space each day even if they were out in the ocean. All the room are oceanfront with balconies which is nice but the balconies are useless if you have you A/C on in the room as the A/C unit is on the balcony which causes a lot of noise and heat. There are two washers and dryers (3rd floor) that are coin-operated but one of the washers was out of order. The shuffleboard area seemed to really be a place for kids to slam the pucks around. I only saw one couple actually play shuffleboard in four days. The rates in FMB are through the roof right now as COVID wind down has places jacking up their rates to offset the COVID losses (my opinion). Our rate of 386 a night had a nightly tax of 25.10 and a bed tax of 19.31 ( about 430 a night) which is a lot more than I paid pre-COVID in FMB. For a little more I can go to Mexico to an all-inclusive through Costco. That said FMB was packed, more so than I have seen in the six years I have been going. I will stay away until the prices get sensible and things settle down on the gulf coast and the vacation frenzy is over. The BW is a good hotel, just not my preference so when I do go back I will stay someplace else. BTW the City really needs to put a police officer out to direct traffic at the pier area. In the evening's traffic is backed up halfway up the bridge while pedestrians hold up traffic in the crosswalks.....that has been a problem in FMB for years.

This was a great choice for a Ft Meyers Beach stay. It is within walking distance from attractions and shopping and away from traffic jams. Staff couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. I am in the mattress business. These beds were the most comfortable I have slept on in a long time. Breakfast free every morning from a great kitchen staff is a great value for families.

My wife and I just returned from Fort Myers yesterday. Our stay at the Best Western Plus Beach Resort was excellent! We went fir a long Anniversary Weekend. The moment we arrived we were impressed with how clean the resort was. Employees could be seen cleaning and disinfecting all areas constantly. Our king room was very clean and comfortable. Our view of the gulf on the 4th floor was fantastic. When you walk out towards the pool and beach you are literally steps away from the beach! If you aren't a beach person, the pool was warm and very clean. It even overlooked the beach and gulf! When we arrived the staff behind the desk were so friendly and helpful. This was our first time there so I asked for some recommendations for restaurants. We took their advice and every one was spot on! For our anniversary dinner they recommended a place on the bay that was excellent. We took advantage of the free breakfast offered twice. The food was wonderful. Due to Covid you had to ask the two very nice servers for what you wanted and brought it to you with a smile! The Best Western was a huge hit in my book! We are already making plans to go back in a few months! I have no reservations at highly recommending this resort to anyone heading to Fort Myers.

We stayed 6/11-14 in room 413. It has a great view however if you are looking for the sunset there are two palm trees that block the sunset view. So just go down to the pool and watch. The pool closes at sundown. We were thinking about booking a ground floor room. Glad we didn't. Families with young kids and pets enjoy the ground floor. We enjoyed privacy on our balcony. Breakfast is given to you instead of buffet style which was great. The hotel location is walking distance, a half mile to the main Times Square area. Great location North of Times Square. Because of covid the maid service is limited by request only. We thought this hotel was a great choice and room location was great, ice is on the 3rd floor.

Had a great time. Enjoyed our stay on the beach it was peaceful and just what we wanted a nice getaway. The rooms were clean, friendly staff, and great beach views. Location is close, within walking distance of pier and restaurants and little shops. Definitely will stay again in the future.

Great place to stay if you want to totally relax by the beach and a short walk to some great restaurants. You are less than 1/2 mile walk to "Times Square" where all the action is from live performers to great bars and good food.

The Best Western Plus Beach Resort blew my expectations away. The staff was extremely friendly and the Resort provides wonderful ocean view rooms. The pool, beach, room and breakfast were all great. The town is a short 5 minute walk away where you can shop, eat and explore the pier. Overall had a great experience and would return!

We love this property - friendly staff, comfy rooms, beach is amazing. Breakfast was great as usual! We have been making this annual trip for years, and highly recommend this property. A special shout out to Rich for making our family feel like special guests! Can't wait to return next year!

Perfect beach front hotel with beach chair and umbrella rental service. You can walk directly onto the beach or into their pool. Fresh water showers for your body and feet to remove salt and sand. Other rentals like her skies and kayaks were also on the hotels beach area.

Property and main lobby area, pool and swimming area were kept clean and tidy. We stayed in the cottage which had a feeling of privacy but with all amenities available. Refreshments, restaurants and shops within walking distance and Uber is readily available. Very relaxing get-away. Already made reservations for next year.

Perfect plac3e for a get away. Beautiful view and proximity to the beach and town with plenty of entertainment and restaurants. Pool was clean and not crowded. A great vacation. Would definitely return and recommend.

The hotel staff goes above and beyond to accommodate their guests! Specifically, the front desk manager Rich. He saved the day and helped switch us to a different room to better fit our stay with an 8 month old baby. The rooms were clean, beach was beautiful, and it was the perfect location for our first family vacation. Also, it made me more at ease that they took COVID precautions with their complimentary breakfast buffet. The staff had masks and wore gloves to serve the food! We WILL be back!

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in May. The beach location is superb, you are only a few hundred feet from the beach to your room. You are paying for the location because the hotel is nothing special very few amenities to go along with the high price that the rooms will cost you per night. The rooms were clean and that's what matters to me. The breakfast was free and better than I was anticipating. Our biggest gripe was the coffee, the coffee at breakfast was horrible folders out of a machine. The coffee makers in the rooms are those single cup jobbies that make bad coffee also. We finally found a place 2 miles down the road that had a decent brew. When you are paying 369 per night you would think a place would have good coffee one way or another. The Time Square area where all the shops and restaurants is a 1/3 of a mile walk which was nice. And to be honest I wasn't real impressed with that area. Very old buildings some of the beach restaurants had some real bad odors coming from them when you walk in we actually walked out of the Salty Crab horrible smell in the hall when we entered. The best place to eat with awesome food is the Snug Harbor bar and grill at the end of the street on the pier. Would I stay again the Best Western beach hotel? Hell ya the beach location is the best on the entire beach.

The hotel was very clean and followed CDC guidelines for cleaning. The breakfast was great. Due to Covid they served you from the buffet. Food was tasty and portions were generous. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I can not wait to go back.

This hotel is one of Fort Myer's Beach best kept secrets! It is just north of the square (within walking distance) where there is something for everyone but still far enough away from the square for your stay to be quiet and enjoyable. All rooms are poolside and beachfront and the beach shoreline is very close. The amenities are excellent and we had our own beach chairs and an umbrella everyday! We will definitely be returning for more weekend getaways at this resort!

Property is right on the beach, all rooms face the ocean with incredible views. Plenty of food within walking distance. Free parking is a huge plus. Room was clean, staff was all friendly and helpful.

Hotel was very clean, breakfast was well cooked, staff very help full, grounds very well kept, some rooms Palm trees obstruct the view of the beach that you want to see from the patio, Beach chairs and umbrellas have a charge that you see in the advertised picture on web page, no mention of charge until you set in one, two chairs and umbrella $30.00 per day, why not a charge per hour or two, no way to stay out there all day. Taxi from airport $50.00 for 16 miles and about 40 minutes depending on traffic.

Location, location, location. You can't beat this location for being on the beach and close to Times Square. The rooms are very subpar and wreak of musty mold. When bringing to the attention of management we were told its just how it is. The Ladies in the breakfast area were the only negative experience we had in all of Southwest Florida. They are extremely rude and feel put out to do their job. This was very unfortunate as every one else was very pleasant and welcoming. We would love to come back to this area but for the money will go somewhere else and hope for the money to find some place that doesn't wreak of mold and somewhere hopefully not treated so rudely as the breakfast staff here.

Perfect room for one night to have some fun with the kids. We booked a room right near the pool and Everything was excellent. The staff is super friendly. It's time to drop the masking in the lobby for breakfast, but other than that I wouldn't have changed a thing!!

Best Western is located a few blocks from the Square with all the congestion on the other side. We were able to use the beach and then the pool to cool off. Room had full frig/kitchen. Quiet. Free breakfast was really good with changes to menu daily. Best part was check out was 11:00 but we were encouraged to use pool and beach all day until we needed to leave for the airport. Staff very accommodating. No question about it, we'd come back here without looking any further as it had everything.

Top notch hotel on the beach in Ft. Myers. Breakfast was awesome and the staff was top notch. Room was clean and updated with beach view. Pool was clean and the right temperature. Highly recommend this hotel. I will be back!

What an amazing location, beautiful setting and very clean, full kitchen in room to help make things easier on your pocket, you can bring your own booze anywhere, the breakfast is actually amazing, and the best part of all is the staff. The manager rich was so helpful after a previous bas experience the day before somewhere else and he really restored my faith in best western again. I'll be coming back and also be recommending this hotel to many others. Thank you

Solid hotel option in Fort Myers Estero Beach area. Short walk to Time Square Village and awesome beachfront access/pool area/views. Clean and nicely decorated; little out of date but it works. Nothing special with the free breakfast but it was fine as well. Lumpy pillows and thin bedding made the sleeping part a little disappointing, but it was solid for the price and location.

Loved the location near the pier/restaurants on the white sandy Fort Myers Beach. Great breakfast, clean room, nice pool. Beds comfortable, but only full size. No hot tub. Had to ask for towels or cleaning services, but that was ok.

In a time when people are afraid to travel I thought it important to write this review. We are currently at the Best Western Resort Plus on Ft. Myers Beach. This place is spotless... rooms, lobby, pool, etc. In fact you can smell the cleaning supplies everywhere you go. Some things have changed due to Covid but they in no way are negative. The staff at the front desk has truly worked hard to attend to every guests needs. Every single time I come here they are friendly and accommodating. We stay here a lot. Some changes: 1.) Breakfast is no longer serve yourself. There is a lovely hostess that serves you what you want. All you have to do is tell her what you would like. I actually found this to be awesome and I hope it continues because it keeps people from touching, coughing, or breathing on food that others would like to enjoy. 2.) You now have to ask for towels, however, they will gladly provide you with what you need. 3.) They are working on the roof..that is true. However, it's not intrusive and let's be honest work has to be done to keep the place in tip top shape. 4.) If you are one of their Diamond Elite members they no longer offer the option of 2 snacks a day. Instead they offer you 500 points. Quite honestly, I had no idea snacks were offered all these times I stayed here so that is not a big deal to me. There are restaurants, a 711, shopping, etc., for anything you need. And it's all within walking distance. 5.) Masks... yes, they are dreaded but necessary and you need them. I actually got upset yesterday but not by BWR staff. The guy working the umbrella/chairs on the beach stand literally at 3 PM, at the 1st umbrella, put a large family right on top of us. He added 6 chairs and an extra umbrella, along with the people laying on towels l12 inches from our chairs. They were totally unconcerned about social distancing. I had to move our chairs. We were there all day and no way should that of occurred. Courtesy goes a long way. In my case I have a heart condition. I need people to follow the rules even if they don't like it. Lastly, my husband has a hard time getting away to travel. Yesterday we didn't get our usual room. I drove the staff crazy and once the people checked out of the room we like they moved us. I can't tell you how something so simple was important to us. Through my annoyance the staff, and Rich/the manager, remained friendly and patient. Housekeeping... we always tip because they work so hard. Don't forget them. Times are hard. Some went without checks for months during the shut down. And believe me I know 1st hand how very grateful they are. They are the sweetest.

Great overall accommodations. Service was excellent by front desk staff and the manager Rich! They truly went above and beyond to take care of their guests! They handled the breakfast rush in an excellent manner because they had to serve everyone individually but they made the experience great. Awesome job to this team!

We came here on our honeymoon, with no knowledge of the area, just that we wanted something with a beach that was driving distance to the Red Sox spring training park. This hotel is perfectly situated, 2/10ths of a mile from the bustling Times Square with its shops and restaurants, but far enough away to allow some quiet time. every room has an ocean view and a kitchen! The beach is gorgeous, there's also a pool and shuffleboard. The cleaning staff is meticulous.

Room space is tight but the oceanfront location, cleanliness of the hotel, and friendliness of the staff was superb! We couldn't be happier with our stay!! We will definately be returning for another fun filled vacation in Fort Myers Beach!

We stayed here for a few days while waiting on our vacation house to be ready. It was a great time, the beach was so nice we better than the crowded beach South of the pier. The hotel staff was attentive and super helpful with everything. The grounds are gorgeous with a lot to do. I would recommend this resort and will be staying here again in the future, we wish we would have stayed here all week.

If you enjoy a beautiful view that is close to shops and food this it the place for you. It was relaxing and the place was clean and staff was friendly. I would definitely go again the only bad part was the price.

Very clean and well kept hotel. Staff was very attentive to cleanliness and adhering to Covid regulations. The day manager and staff were amazing and made you feel at home and comfortable. The grounds, pool and general atmosphere all were kept neat and clean. My only wish would be to have a tiki-bar on site for cocktails. Coco the hotel's bird was a hoot. He talked and provided guests with entertainment. The beds were a little small but comfortable. Even with all the traffic in the area it was a very relaxing vacation.

We were in town to attend to a sad family matter. Our stay was wonderful from the moment our driver dropped us at the front door. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was just as requested and matched advertisement description. It was clean tended to inside and out. We did not take advantage of the breakfast although it was offered and many did. Plates were prepared and handed to guests due to COVID restrictions. When we requested more coffee, housekeeping quickly retrieved some from their office and hung a bag with it on our door. Pool was smaller than expected, but heated and clean. Beach sport rentals were right there and reasonable. Not a big high end resort, but clean and comfortable with great staff!

Would definitely stay again! We loved the location of this hotel, not overly busy, we could relax on the quiet beach but walk to the busier Time Square area easily to shop and eat at multiple restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised with the upgrade to the top floor, lovely landscaping with a nice clean pool.

View was fabulous, when I first arrived the sliding glass balcony door wouldn't open buy maybe 12 inches. I immediately called front desk and someone was sent right up and he fixed it so it would open but handle lock was very hard to lock so I used the top security lock. The refrigerator cooling temp knob was broken so I had to use a knife to turn the knob to control the temperature. And the room wasn't as clean as I expected and floor felt sandy and was extremely slippery even with sandals or slippers on.

Excellent resort down away from Times Square in fort Meyers beach. Friendly staff, nice rooms with kitchenettes that have utensils and such, beautiful & well kept grounds. Holiday Watersports rentals right on the beach with rentals of chairs & umbrellas, cabanas, and water activities. Outdoor heated pool. Nice yard area with shuffle board. They also have a parrot named Coco who talks!

Our winter in WI has been brutal and we truly needed to escape. The BWPFMB gave us the warm and wonderful refuge we were desperately seeking. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the location was perfect - within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops. Our room (all of the rooms) offered a spectacular view of the gulf and its picturesque sunsets each night. This hotel offered everything we were looking for- an escape and refuge from winter's, everyday life's ( not to mention Covid's) grasp. We were able to relax, reconnect and recharge. Many thanks for what you do best - hospitality- it does not go unnoticed!

very nice property....view of the beach and ocean from all rooms. still serve breakfast, have to wait to be served but nice they still offer it with Covid. only improvement would be if the facility had a gym or fitness facility. but a great spot and very satisfied.

This hotel is older but very clean. Rooms are a bit small for having 2 double beds. We booked late so all that was available and we were only staying 3 nights. We sorely underestimated the size of bed we needed for comfort. However, the beds and linens are very comfortable otherwise. The kitchenette was a plus. There was a pool, shuffleboard and Small playground for kids. We were right on the beach. Full breakfast is available with staff serving (covid restriction). The biscuits were fantastic! The staff were friendly. Everything was within walking distance so it met our needs for a short stay and lounging at the beach. Parking was easy with large spots. (Someone still managed to hit our rental but its not the hotels issue that people can't park. )

Renting 2 night at Best Western on Fort Myers Beach, was suppose to be a suite as 4 month old 3 year old and 4 adults. Arrived at room and was 1 room 2 beds, wife called front desk said there was nothing they could do. Ended up daughter and family staying and wife and I drove 45 minutes back home and stayed. Drove back both mornings to play on beach. Cost us over $1000 for 2 nights, would not refund us any money back. Never Again

Worst experience I've had in 30 years of traveling. Booked a suite for my husband, daughter and her family of 4, with a baby. Got a single room with 2 queen beds. Paid over 500 dollars a night. Never again with. Best western. Stick to better hotel chains.

This is a very nice hotel in a quiet area right on Fort Myers Beach. My wife and I stayed here for nine nights and had a great time. We arrived right at check-in time and were helped by a friendly front desk person named Scott. Our room was already assigned and waiting for us. The whole check-in process was only a few minutes. We were assigned a room on the third floor. The room was very clean and nice. Each room features a kitchenette, a large bathroom and a private balcony facing the Gulf of Mexico. There was plenty of room for us to spread out. The hotel has breakfast service despite COVID. Instead of the usual buffet set-up, the staff will take your order and place it all on a plate for you. There were places to sit both inside the lobby and tables set up outside. The hotel is right on the beach. You can rent chairs and umbrellas from a vendor that is there. The beach is large and there is plenty of room. There is also a nice pool area which was kept very clean by the staff. We were impressed with the COVID precautions in place and felt safe during out stay. The entire staff wore masks and guests are required to do so and observe social distancing. The housekeeping staff will not service your room unless requested. Requests for towels and toiletries were handled by the front desk with a smile and were left on our door handle each day. The hotel has a great location. It is a 10 minute or less walk from plenty of places to each and shop. The hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood. At night, we opened the door to the patio and slept listening to the waves on the beach. There was plenty of parking here and we never had a problem finding a spot, even late at night. The hotel is around a 30-minute drive from the airport depending on traffic. We encountered absolutely no issues during our stay. All the staff we encountered were friendly and professional. A great job by this hotel and we will see you again.

We have been coming here almost every year since 1994. It never disappoints. The staff are all great and love the view from our room. They have a very good breakfast. Although this year is a little different with Covid. They are making it all work

On Feb 1 the cost per night was over $425. The cost the day before was $199. That is a fair price for the property and location. The beds were poor. My feet hung over the end of the bed and I am only 6'1." It all depends upon what value you place on being on the beach!

This property far exceeded our expectations! The location was wonderful---quiet side of the beach but absolutely close enough to Time's Square and all the excitement--all within walking distance. The room was super clean and was a great value---full sized fridge and freezer, a small stovetop (two electric burners), cabinets filled with everything you would need to cook a meal (pots, pans, full place settings, silverwear, cutting knife, cutting board, toaster, etc). There are also a few grills available for use (we did not use) but saw others using. I believe the grills were propane and the two I saw were also close to picnic tables on the beach, one was in a covered area on the beach with a large picnic table, so it would be great to grill our and have a meal outside. All the rooms overlook the beach/ocean and from what I could tell, all have amazing views---there's not an obstructed view on the property! The balcony was wonderful and large. The beach is literally steps away---the beach area was clean and well-maintainted with the ability to rent an umbrealla and chairs if desired (approx $30/day). Beach towels are provided although they were a bit small, but you can use as many as you need to make your towel space larger. The pool area was also a good size (pool goes from 3 feet-6 feet) and had lounge chairs all around it. The pool was heated and water temp was perfect! There was also a shuffleboard court on the property. Staff members were friendly and helpful---in particular Joy at the front desk went out of her way on several different occassions to assist us with requests we had. Breakfast is provided on site and was different each day--hot items such as eggs, omlettes, sausage, and waffles were available as well as bakery items, bagels, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. If I had some recommendations it would be to have paper towels or napkins in the room (we never thought to include that with our grocery order) and would have been nice to have the tv's be smart tv's. There was a USB hookup in the back, but they did not recognize our devices. We definitely did not spend the day in the room, but it would have been nice to be able to watch Netflix or Prime on the evenings we didn't go out. We would absolutely return to this property! Location, staff, cleanliness, and comfort of rooms (beds were comfy, towels were SOFT, and bathroom was a good size). This property is PERFECT in every way!!! Say hello to Coco the bird! :)

My wife and I stayed for our anniversary and we were looking for a place on the beach with a view that didn't break the bank and we found it here. Would love to be back! We found that traffic on the island was tough, but there were trollys and bike rentals to make it easier.

It was really nice to enjoy the beach and peaceful surroundings. The area had many shops and restaurants to enjoy while we were there that beach is kept clean and the people were friendly. COCO was really cool.

The most friendly people work here. The resort is the cleanest around. Breakfast is always great. It is nice to have the pool and beach so close together. The resort is also close to downtown where there is shops and restaurants. We stay here often and my family loves it.

Great location, excellent service. Beds very comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Bathrooms dated but clean. Grounds well groomed, palm trees beautiful but do block the view of the ocean. Breakfast service excellent.

Clean, friendly, and accommodating. This is a fantastic choice for Ft. Myers Beach. They had a safe reliable transportation service from the airport. Parking here was safe and easy. The garden in addition to the beach was a special extra. Pool looked great but didn't use it. Breakfast was hot with usual selections served by staff due to covid.

Our family of three stayed here the night before and two nights after our time share week. The first night we got upgraded and it was fabulous. The last two nights were full, so no upgrade. Still, gulf view, and a full fridge with sink and stove top. Which just makes staying a little more comfortable with being able to keep restaurant leftovers and water cold and being able to clean your reusable water bottles. So big plus for the mini kitchen. Even with limited breakfast, there was a good selection of items. The workers served you. We enjoyed sitting right outside to eat. Beds and pillows were comfy. Bath was a decent size. Good water pressure. Just steps to the sand! We walked for miles each day. Quiet motel, didn't hear much noise at all. We were on level 5. Ice machine was broke and wasn't fixed even after we left for the week and checked back in. Ice machine on ground floor worked. Times Square is walking minutes away, with restaurants and shopping. Our last day we checked out at 11 (no late check out right now) and staff didn't mind us hanging out at pool and listening to Coco talk until we had to leave for our flight. We are from locked down PA and we felt so free and relaxed here. We will definitely stay here again.

The place was a great place to stay, but we could not get them to clean our room. We stayed 5 nights and asked 3 times. No one ever cleaned it!! Everyone was very nice! It is in a great location. We walked to everything we wanted to get to.

My wife and I spent a week there and will definitely come back. The included breakfast and the location close to downtown made eating easy and convenient. The pool is heated and sunny, and the beach is only steps away.

From the time of our arrival to the day of our departure our experience was so relaxing and enjoyable! The rooms were delightful as they ALL faced the beach, the private beach was relaxing, the kitchenette made the stay more fun, the location couldn't have been better, and everyone was very hospitable.

this is the best hotel on ft myers beach! we stay here every December and it just keeps getting better. Even with the covid restrictions this year they still start your day with a full breakfast, just not " help yourself" this time. The location is a quick walk to Times Square.

This place is not your traditional resort experience. The property is on an expansive beach, but the water didn't look at all desirable for swimming and was brown and cold. The property is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and a 7-11. I appreciated that the parking was free and plentiful. Check-in was fast and friendly, and all aspects of the property were explained. I was thanked for being an elite member, but was not offered any room upgrade whatsoever or anything special, which was disappointing. My room was dark and cramped on the ground floor. I appreciated to full-size refrigerator and kitchen though. The bathroom was similarly small and cramped. TV was on the small size. Air conditioning in the room appeared to have a tough time keeping up and I got hot throughout the night. The "heated" pool wasn't very heated. There are numerous chairs around the SMALL pool, but no other amenities. I appreciated the hot, complimentary breakfast in the morning from the friendly server and the express check-out option. Overall, I got what I paid for at this hotel, but it left a lot to be desired and I really have no desire to return.

Very nice location. Quiet and away from the craziness but able to walk to restaurants etc. The breakfast was nice but not off the charts, of course. Wish beach chairs were provided, have to pay to rent them. Would stay again!

Crew that were helping with serving breakfast extremely rude. When we pointed problem with amount of food being served we heard "shut up" from one of them. Unbelievable. It was our 4th stay on this hotel and probably the last one. Old mattresses made nights horrible experience. As a gold member didn't get even 15 minutes of late check out...blaming that on covid-19 but of course no problem if you want to pay $75 for it.

This BWP is never a disappointment with cleanliness, great supportive staff( kudos Joy, Rich & Scott!) & wonderful breakfast. My husband & I come from NH twice a year to extend our short summer. The beachfront room is fantastic & beach shore has available rental chairs/umbrella that make life easier... Just beautiful, quiet area to chill out & enjoy the warm Gulf waters & dolphins passing by!( Cannot wait to return come May 2021. Can you tell?) We always walk to Times Square with shopping areas & great places to eat: no car needed! Last but not least: their celebrity Amazon parrot, CoCo who charms all guests with his “ Hello” & other words! Too cute! A huge thank you for making every stay a memorable one; including the tropical storm Eta this year! ❣️

Nice hotel overlooking the Gulf. Included a kitchenette while walking distance to stores, as well as bars/restaurants. Included breakfast of your choice. On the quiet northside of the island. Definitely relaxing.

This property has a really nice beach front in Fort Myers Beach. Lots of good restaurants and beach life in the area. I found this a bit pricey, but stayed there anyway. Breakfast area is small. Breakfast before 7 am would be helpful, especially is one is planning the ferry trip to Key West (highly recommended)

We had read posts around a month ago with TA reviewers posting about the “roof” work. Also saw the response from owner Tim apologizing and that the roof work should have been done by now. It is definitely not dine yet - from from it . There are only 5 floors - and when we checked in , we were told that because of our anniversary , we were given the highest floor (4th) - now i know why we didnt get the 5th- lol- Everyday you hear drilling and the worst part is that while you are laying in the beach , the wind blows the smell of Tar and Chemicals they are using on the roof toward you. not very relaxing - we had called in advance and spoke to the front desk (eric ) and he guaranteed the construction is over. I will update my review if the work stops or management explains a bit better ( it is tuesday Oct 13 and we are here till saturday- so we'll see if anything changes). TA wont let me post a video for some reason but you can send me a private message and I can send you a video with the sound of the noise . Only knocked off 1 star because the rest of the facility is great - breakfast is served behind a line - with employees giving you both coffee and the food items - you cannot touch anything yourself . A beautiful parrot (Coco) in the lobby - fun to interact with. Our room was on the 4th floor - corner king oceanfront - you could see views from different angles - highly recommend. The chairs and umbrellas are Not part of the hotel - there is a person outfront (Gary ) who will rent them to you for $30 /day ( no hourly option) . Hotel does provide towels for you to use at the pool and beach, however.

Have been staying here for a number of years now. Beach & pool right out the front door. Stop & see Cocoa who is left out & talks up in the trees & you can hear him. So precious. This place always has change for laundry also. Laundry room always clean. Breakfast are great with a variety of food. Clerks always helpful when inquiries are made. Walk to restaurants & have a couple of drinks & party. Love the Mexican restaurant. You can walk back to your hotel. Rooma all overllok the beach. Love this hotel.

This was my third stay at this BW, but my first with my family in tow. We were able to book the cottage and it comfortably fit 6 of us. The only minor issue with the cottage is that the second bathroom has to be accessed via the garage, which means an outside trek down the steps whenever you need to use it. The views from the cottage are unbeatable! The staff at this hotel are always great and accommodating for whatever you need. The included breakfast is delicious and (pre-Covid) the coffee machine is so convenient. The area is very walkable and you can walk on the beach or the street to Times Square/shops/restaurants.

Room was exactly what we requested and although there were covid-19 restrictions the front desk was totally on top of things from check-in to check-out. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anybody

In a time when people are afraid to travel I thought it important to write this review. We are currently at the Best Western Resort Plus on Ft. Myers Beach. This place is spotless... rooms, lobby, pool, etc. In fact you can smell the cleaning supplies everywhere you go. Some things have changed due to Covid but they in no way are negative. The staff at the front desk has truly worked hard to attend to every guests needs. Every single time I come here they are friendly and accommodating. We stay here a lot. Some changes: 1.) Breakfast is no longer serve yourself. There is a lovely hostess that serves you what you want. All you have to do is tell her what you would like. I actually found this to be awesome and I hope it continues because it keeps people from touching, coughing, or breathing on food that others would like to enjoy. 2.) You now have to ask for towels, however, they will gladly provide you with what you need. 3.) They are working on the roof..that is true. However, it's not intrusive and let's be honest work has to be done to keep the place in tip top shape. 4.) If you are one of their Diamond Elite members they no longer offer the option of 2 snacks a day. Instead they offer you 500 points. Quite honestly, I had no idea snacks were offered all these times I stayed here so that is not a big deal to me. There are restaurants, a 711, shopping, etc., for anything you need. And it's all within walking distance. 5.) Masks... yes, they are dreaded but necessary and you need them. I actually got upset yesterday but not by BWR staff. The guy working the umbrella/chairs on the beach stand literally at 3 PM, at the 1st umbrella, put a large family right on top of us. He added 6 chairs and an extra umbrella, along with the people laying on towels l12 inches from our chairs. They were totally unconcerned about social distancing. I had to move our chairs. We were there all day and no way should that of occurred. Courtesy goes a long way. In my case I have a heart condition. I need people to follow the rules even if they don't like it. Lastly, my husband has a hard time getting away to travel. Yesterday we didn't get our usual room. I drove the staff crazy and once the people checked out of the room we like they moved us. I can't tell you how something so simple was important to us. Through my annoyance the staff, and Rich/the manager, remained friendly and patient. Housekeeping... we always tip because they work so hard. Don't forget them. Times are hard. Some went without checks for months during the shut down. And believe me I know 1st hand how very grateful they are. They are the sweetest.

This is a great place to stay and recommend to others. Everything was excellent. Dish TV channels were an issue but not really considered that bad. Staff were very courteous and always available if needed. Everyone went out of their way to make sure it was a good experience for the guests.

Room was very clean and odor free. Property looks like it was remodeled maybe a few years ago, very well maintained and clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. Covid precautions were evident. Easy walking distance to lots of good restaurants and entertainment.

We picked the BWP based on the positive reviews here. Early in the year we stayed at a BW in Utah that was a huge disappointment so were a little skeptical that this BW would live up to the great reviews. We are sooo glad we came! My husband has been a district manager for various hotels for more than thirty years and even he was impressed. FMB's Best Western is incredibly clean, practices COVID safety protocols, has a fantastic view and landscaping and the staff is committed to making sure every detail is attended to. All day long employees are wiping down chairs and tables, sweeping up sand, cleaning the pool and building areas such as vents and windows. Our room looked as tho' everything in it was new and modern with a touch of a beachy feel. The king bed was very comfortable and our only quibble is that we would have liked more than two pillows. The kitchen section had every appliance and cookware needed to make your own meals. The silverware and plates are all of good quality and all matched, something we rarely find at this price point. The attention to detail doesn't stop there...the bath had higher end towels and toiletries. The included full hot breakfast had great variety (just let the hostess know which items you want and she plates them for you) AND the selection changes every day. During our second day, the toilet wouldn't stop running and maintenance came up within minutes; on our last day the TV remote batteries died....again, staff had it fixed within minutes. All of this care combined with the beautiful, uncrowded beach and the shops and restaurants of Times Square just five minutes walk away made our quick mini vacay perfect in every way.

First off The new normal-I get it...things are different - but, a bit more added touch would be nice After several days maybe ask if we needed towels/toilet paper? They had a ‘sudden' incident that closed the entire 5th floor-the rooms with the views...the roof was being redone So-no pool! No pool No housekeeping whatsoever (I manage hotels - like I said above, offer necessities) Staff was ok- Two were surly one was very nice-the breakfast woman was wonderful Place could've been cleaner I don't know- I just HATE when you book a hotel and they don't tell you things like the pool is out of service...no housekeeping whatsoever....no amenities available I really wanted to love this place Maybe in the future I will

I liked this hotel very much. It has an excellent location right on the beach and it is a true beachfront, just a few minutes walk from Times Square, where all the shops and restaurants are located. Our room was located on the 4th floor, a bit small and the beds were small as well, but it had everything you could possible need including a fridge, microwave, stove top, plates, utensils, etc. It rained a lot one night and water came in from under the door. I don't know if they could do anything about that since all the rooms have access from an exterior corridor, maybe it was the way the wind was blowing and that's why water got it. The property grounds are nice, the pool is big with lots of chairs around and they give you pool towels. I saw a guy early in the morning cleaning all the chairs by the pool, which is a good thing in this era of Covid-19. Right in front of the hotel they rent chairs, umbrellas, and you can do water sports. The breakfast was good, they serve it and you can eat it outside or take it to your room. Everyone at the hotel was nice and friendly. There is no room service, but you can get fresh towels or toilet paper just by asking. We really liked this hotel and would definitely come back.

Overnight getaway to celebrate our anniversary. Stayed on 3rd floor. Balcony is nice, but palm tree obstructs view to ocean (still nice to listen though). King size room on small side but adequate. Comfy bed, only 2 pillows. Woke early to watch sunrise and came back to the stair entrance being blocked off due to construction (we had to walk through hotel with no mask or shoes). Forget about going back to bed because by 8am backup alarms from equipment and noise from whatever is being done to the hotel prevented any sleeping. It would have been nice if construction was disclosed on their website. Breakfast was standard fair that is now served to you. Morning hostess had no greeting, just pointed at a sign that listed the foods. While waiting in line I helped myself to a prepackaged cinnamon roll. Evidently post-covid this was not allowed because when she saw I had one on my table, she yelled past guests in line and rudely said not to do that again. Not only did she embarrass me but the other guests as well. Absolutely my mistake for helping myself but handled totally inappropriate. We will try a different establishment when returning to fort myers.

Love the Best Western Plus Beach Resort. We have been regular guest pretty much every year since 1985. The cleanest BW we have ever stayed at anywhere. The whole staff are great. We know most by first name, a good thing since we have to wear face coverings! Our view from the top floor.

From the moment of check-in, it was a wonderful weekend away!!! Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful!! Room was spotless and smelled like lemons. :) The best part was the laundry and the trash chutes!!! Of course, access to the pool & beach was amazing too!!! Can't forget about Coco!!! He greeted us for breakfast from his perch. Thank you for a wonderful weekend getaway. :)

Fantastic hotel! The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. We had a kitchenette that comes with plates and utensils. It had a full size refrigerator that was really convenient. Our room was on the 2nd floor over the pool and we had a fantastic view of the ocean which was steps away. The grounds are clean and beautiful and the hotel is within walking distance to Times Square. We really enjoyed our stay will stay at this hotel again when we come back.

We had previously stayed at this property a few years ago and was not disappointed this past weekend! We purposely chose this location based on past experience and wanting to reduce our travel risks. Pros: 1. Very clean! I took disinfecting wipes and wiped down all the touch points, and counters and the wipes were still clean when I was done. 2. Outside access to rooms meant not having to take the elevator except to move luggage back and forth. 3. Balcony overlooking the beach -great views. 4. A hot breakfast is still served, but the kind attendant, Rosie, fixed our plates each morning. 5. Every time I saw team members they were hard at work either cleaning (including the outside chairs and loungers) or doing preventative maintenance. 6. Pool closes each evening so no worries about raucous parties late into the night. 7. Jordon at the front desk was warm and friendly! 8. A kitchenette with full size refrigerator (also had plates, utensils, coffee maker and toaster) allowed us to prepare simple meals. A broom and dust pan are also in the room - great for sweeping up all the sand tracked in from beach walks. 9. A few minutes walk to pier, convenience store, and two ice cream shops! 10. Masks to be worn in all common indoor spaces such as breakfast area (tables are set up outside - who doesn't love eating breakfast and watching the waves?) Cons: This is a personal preference, the AC unit was a little too loud for me. My husband slept just fine, but I woke up several times a night when it cycled on. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone wanting to get away but do so while mitigating risks associated with the pandemic.

i always try to stay at a Best western when on vacation or business, staffing is always courteous and concerning, breakfast is always warm the mattresses are an amazingly comfortable the decor fits the property well

Short trip for mom and daughters. Very nice and easy checkin. Property was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was a really good bonus and save time and money compared to creating our own. Short walk to some really good restaurants for lunch/dinner and desserts. We would gladly visit here again.

If your looking for peace and quiet this is the place to be. It isn't too far from shops and restaurants yet feels worlds away when sitting on your balcony enjoying the view or walking the beach. It isn't a very crowded beach which makes it great for people who just want to chill.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! It was super clean (and I am very particular!) and a beautiful resort. The room was awesome with a full fridge and plenty of dishes/pots and pans for cooking. The balcony was perfect for the two of us. Walking distance to Times Square where there are plenty of souvenir shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Yes , I know comparing to others hotels in the area it may not have that much entertaining options, but if you are picky like me regarding cleaning , this is the place that you need to stay in, Staff is friendly , you have breakfast in the morning which is a huge help to jump start your day , location is at a walking distance to other hotels and restaurants. I do recommend BWP for your stay in Fort Myers Beach.

We had a very nice time at this hotel. The location was perfect!! So close to everything. Can walk to times square. All rooms are oceanview with beautiful sunset views. The WiFi was great, never had an issue with 4 devices being used. With a family of 4 (2 kids), we Loved that we had a kitchen with a full size refrigerator/freezer. Room was clean. Wish the beds were queen size instead of full size but we knew that when we booked. The staff was always cleaning. Room service was suspended but you can always call For whatever you needed like fresh towels, etc. Breakfast was good. They still served hot food the only thing was that you had to be served by staff and couldn't take it yourself which was fine. Everyone wore masks in the lobby. Staff was very friendly especially Rich, the manager. He made us feel very welcome. Our kids loved the pool and the beach was so close, just a few steps away from the pool. We loved renting waverunners right on the beach in front of the hotel. You do have to pay for the beach chairs on the beach so if you are driving like we did, you should bring your own. At night there were hundreds of sand dollars in the water. They are alive so don't take them but they are so pretty to look at. We had the best sunsets even though the weather this week wasn't the greatest. We Still had an amazing time and this hotel was a great choice. Did I mention the location was PERFECT???

This was my second visit to this resort my first visit was awesome this last visit was just okay. The first couple days went great then we got new neighbors and they brought their birds on vacation with them and they left there balcony door open the entire time i had to listen to birds squawking out on the balcony and loud music blaring from there room while they sat outside and listened to it under the gazebo. Not very relaxing at all. I know workers had to here this going on and nothing was done about it.

Friends were telling us we were crazy for visiting Florida during the Pandemic! We needed to visit our yearly Paradise. We felt absolutely safe in this hotel. The Staff were cleaning and sanitizing constantly, the breakfast was great as usual - only difference, the staff served the food and drinks - always wearing clean gloves, being very careful. Masks were required in the lobby and people were mindful. I cannot say enough about this property - we have stayed at this property almost every year for over the last 10 years.... always made to feel like we are coming home. Special thank you to Rich - we will see you next year - along with our daughter and her family! Keep up the good work!

Don't get me wrong: I loved my fourth-floor room here with a view of the Gulf from the balcony, and it was beautifully quiet. It's just that this is not a resort. Aside from shuffleboard, a swingset, and an outdoor grill for guest use, this hotel has no extras. In fact, it does not even have a fitness center or a restaurant. The complimentary breakfast is the same standard thing that you will find in any hotel chain location in the United States. Furthermore, the parasols and beach seats that are set out every morning are not free, and don't even belong to the hotel. You have to rent them for $30 per day. For the rate guests pay (we paid $200/night) there should be more of a resort feeling to this place. At least the parking is free.

This was a family weekend girls trip for three nights. When we arrived the check in was easy and our room was ready. The lobby is super clean. Our room 216 had a kitchen, coffee pot and amazing view. The room was also spotless. The pool was warm it's a lovely place to lay out listening to the waves and soak up the Florida sun. They make the breakfast area clean and safe for the covid pandemic. The food was hot and good. I loved the coffee. The beach was everything I hoped for. White sand warm water. Not crowded, and definitely relaxing. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and shops. Ten minute walk to a sunset cruise we did. I will definitely be back. I want the staff know how special they made this girl family trip for us. I am a picky customer when staying at hotels. Decor does not concern me much but cleanliness is more important. This hotel was very clean. Room and bathroom included. No sand all over as most beach hotels. Microwave and fridge were spotless. The "private" beach was so nice. Will stay again for sure. Also pet friendly.

Checked in on the day this resort opened up after being closed for the pandemic. Staff was incredibly friendly including the resort bird Coco! The staff made guest feel safe and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. The ocean view from the room was gorgeous. The best part of this resort was being able to walk right out of the property onto the private beach area for guests. I will be back to this resort and will definitely recommend it to others!

We stayed here early in the Covid outbreak. Always cleaning! The hotel brown bagged breakfast, your choice of food, rather than cancel it, which I believe other hotels did. Rich at desk was very helpful. Always available to answer questions as events were changing daily because of Covid. The hotel allowed us to check out two days early at no charge. 2 blocks to 7-11 for some alcohol and snacks. If you are looking for a cheap hotel during spring break, this isn't for you. If you are searching for a hotel that will take care of you, you've found it.

Best staff and hotel in Ft. Myers Beach! We have been coming here for 7 years and they always treat us like family. Even when the beach closed because of the virus, the staff came in every day to serve! Thanks for your dedication!

This was our first time staying on Ft Myers beach. Early March. The hotel was well located right on the beach. The grounds were nice. Didn't use the pool but it looked inviting. There's a kiosk on the beach for umbrella rentals that we took advantage of. The beach is nice but not too many shells. It's an easy walk to the Times Square area with its restaurants and shops and the pier. Ample parking and nice balcony with beach view. Only negative was a loud refrigerator. I will probably come again for a longer stay.

We stayed during times that were difficult with the beach closing and restaurants changing, but had a great stay and all of our questions were answered. The location on the beach was awesome, and allowed us to walk to dining each day. The room was big enough for our family, which included 2 college age students. Rich at the front desk was available to answer all our questions as well as the rest of the staff, all were always willing to help.

I just wanted to write a short THANK YOU to Rich for his wonderful customer service. I had a room for 2 nights reserved for March 28-30 for four 70+ year olds . Due to the coronavirus we decided to cancel our reservation at this time. Rich was extremely kind in helping me cancel our reservation. We were all disappointed to have to change our plans, but circumstances and our age made it necessary!! Anyway, we will definitely book again at The Best Western Plus Beach Resort because of how thoughtful and helpful Rich was. Good Luck to you and your resort during this virus event.

The views of the ocean, cleanliness of the grounds, parking, pool layout, amount of lawn furniture, beachfront, etc...were positive things we enjoyed on our family vacation. Best palm tree landscape along the whole beach by far and lights dangling in the night was a nice added touch. We were impressed and happy with our stay! We'd stay again here for sure!

Nothing extravagant but on the ocean and very clean. Breakfast area is small but always found a table. Never had to go elsewhere for breakfast. Bring your own beach chairs or be prepared to pay $30 a day for the rental chairs. Overall a beautiful spot on Fort Myers Beach. Quiet and a great place for long walks on the beach. Many regulars stay here!

We have been here many many times. The rooms are quite nice with a small kitchenette. The staff is great, and the property is meticulously maintained. The LOCATION (just a couple blocks from Times Square in Fort Myers Beach and all the restaurants) is wonderful! You can walk to a multitude of restaurants every day/evening. The breakfast room is a touch small but the owners have done the best they could and no one seems to mind in this amazing, happy environment on the beach. We LOVE this place! (A little pricey during spring break so we gave the "value" a start less... but it's still worth it:)

Excellent location, all the balconies face the Gulf and the white sand flat beach. There is a service in front of the hotel that rents cabanas and chairs and umbrellas. They also have kayaks and jet skis. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the cenetr of activity and a Free tram (I believe from January-April) runs every 15 minutes with a stop in front of the hotel. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful and the rooms are large and clean. The breakfast is one of the best with a lot of variety and menu changes each day. Fantastic sausage gravy.

This is our second time staying here and the staff, rooms and service have been nothing but amazing! They even remembered us from 2 years ago. We have two small children who have asked a lot of questions and the staff have been nothing but accommodating every step of the way. We will be back next year for sure!

You cannot this this resort , for location the ocean is literally at your back dood . The rooms are fantastic , and the grounds are clean and well maintained. The staff is awesome everyone from the front desk manager to housekeeping, go over and above to make sure you get the most out of your stay .

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in January. The hotel was a great find. It is on a beautiful, white sand beach. The only downside is you have to rent umbrellas and chairs. The room was adequate size with a nice bathroom with a tub. The kitchen with a refridgerator came in handy. I think all rooms are beachfront with a balcony. The rooms were nicely decorated. It's location is great too. Most of the time we walked to Times Square. The staff was very nice too. We would definately return.

This hotel property is very nice! First, upon check-in we were greeted by Joy and she was exceptionally helpful and described all of the hotels amenities, breakfast times, etc. Our room was clean and somewhat spacious - kinda like a small suite with full refrigerator, stove top and most kitchen amenities. Almost rooms face the "ocean"front (Gulf) and we had a delightful view from our balcony. Breakfast in the morning was very good and had quite a good variety. Many guests knew each other and as we found out, many were there for longer stays, and had come every year for many years. (That itself says something about the place!) Both the room amenities & general hotel amenities are very nice. Hotel is in great location, far enough away from the craziness but an easy walk to many restaurants. Really nothing but a great hotel, terrific location & exceptional staff. One night was not long enough! Oh be sure to say hi to Coco in the lobby!

If you are looking for a quiet Fort Myers getaway this place is perfect. A little bit down from the busy center section of Fort Myers Beach, plenty of room to spread out and relax. Beach umbrella and chair rental was reasonable, although not a big fan of being kicked off of the chairs at 5pm, still a good hour before sunset. Pool was nice for the kids. Plenty of food options nearby. This was really an almost perfect spot for a quick beach getaway. If we end up in Fort Myers again we will absolutely stay here,

On the beach, all ocean views and a nice pool. Nice grounds, staffing very helpful, nice pool, good breakfast. Parking good, well lite lot, lots of downtown amenities nearby and in walking distance and pier.

Where to begin with this place! I booked a room for 1 night for my birthday weekend. I live locally and had heard good things about the hotel but never had a reason to stay. I decided I wanted to be on the beach and suck up the sun. We are in peak season which leaves few rooms available. I was happy to see Best Western Plus had one available. When we arrived it was around 9am (I wanted the sun all day!) Rick at the front desk was so friendly. He allowed me to park my car and said go and enjoy the resort. We walked through the lobby with our beach chairs and cooler ready for a great beach day. I was not expecting an early check in because it was season so I was super surprised when he called 2 hours later and said our room was ready. The room was super clean, nice towels, all rooms are waterfront so we had a view of the beach and resort area. There was a full refrigerator, 2 burner cook top, a microwave and toaster along with all the dishes and pans you would need to make a meal. Staying only 1 night we didn't use anything except the fridge. Restaurants are all walkable so it's not necessary to cook. (We ordered pizza ;) ) The beach was super clean. The lobby was clean and welcoming. Coco the parrot was entertaining and the hotel's team was super friendly and funny! They always had something nice to say when they saw us passing through the lobby. We would walk through to get water or use the restrooms or meet other friends that were arriving later and the front desk team just always smiled and made sure we didn't need a thing. They genuinely cared that we were well taken care of and didn't need anything. Basically, Check in and Check out were a breeze! Great breakfast! Great Staff! Good coffee (served all day by the way) Comfy bed and towels. Great location! If you have a choice, this is the best one and the value for the money absolutely cannot be beat! Thanks for adding to my birthday weekend and making it so special! I will be back. Mostly because it just felt so homey. This was the perfect spot for my birthday weekend!

My husband and I spent 2 nights at this BW resort. Wonderful beach front property! Lovely pool, great breakfast options, friendly staff! We had a king bed and the room also had a working kitchen area stocked with plates, pots etc. We highly recommend this property!

This was our first family vacation to FMB and the BW Plus Beach Resort did not disappoint!! The free breakfast was DELUXE and super yummy - rooms were nice and clean - it was great having a kitchenette in the room - the kids LOVED the pool and beach - the lush terrace was great for relaxing - awesome to have chair and jetski rentals on site - wonderful staff - picture-perfect sunsets - quiet - great proximity to Time Square for dining, shopping and fun! We loved Coco the resident Parrot!! Cons: beds were Full size not Queen

We called a week ahead and the day of our check in asking for an early check in due to having a wedding at 4pm, the same time as check in. We were promised a call when our room was ready, we never received a call. We had to get ready in our car and wasn't able to check in until 9pm. Very disappointed.

Thank you, again, Best Western Plus Resort, for making our 6 wk vacation so great! We were warmly welcomed by the desk staff - also, personally experienced the care and concern management has for their guests. Darline was exceptional - did an excellent job cleaning up after us in our comfortable room and Blanca, Rosa and Jessica made sure every a.m. that we had a hot delicious breakfast - going out of their way to please us! As long as we can, we will return to this location, location, location on the beach. Can't beat it!!!

A bit pricey but very nice accommodations. Right on the beachfront, and was nice to hear the ocean waves at night and the sunset. Short walk into the downtown area to eat or shop. Would consider staying here again when visiting this area.

The hotel is one of the best on Fort Myers Beach. The staff and location for our stay was perfect. The breakfast area can get congested but the food variety was good and the ladies who looked after the area were very helpful. It was nice to walk out of the hotel straight on the beach each morning.

We have been staying at this property for a week for almost 20 years. I can easily say you won't find a more beautiful property. All rooms face the beach/Gulf of Mexico. They have a kitchenette in every room which includes a range, full size fridge and microwave. This comes in very handy if you want to save money and not eat out every night. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. Very quiet place to stay. Awesome breakfast with high quality food with tons of variety. You won't find a cleaner more modern hotel!!! There is literally not one thing I would change at this hotel. It's absolutely PERFECT!!!

Best Western Plus Beach Resort is RIGHT ON THE BEACH. This is our second time staying here. The staff are very helpful and friendly. A wonderful hot breakfast is included. Watch the sunsets from your balcony.

Beautiful Resort Hotel with a great view of the beach. Located directly on Ft. Myers Beach. Offered suggestions on local businesses to visit during our stay. Nice large parking lot. We loved the kitchenette in our room. The grounds were well maintained.

The staff was amazing! Eric at the front desk was very helpful! Cleaning crew were awesome and the bird onsite was super cool. Rooms were clean, property was clean, pool was nice infront of beach. Only thing that was a big disappointment was you had to rent to chair on the beach. Didnt come with the resort,

I usually stay at more 'luxury' brands and was a little nervous to try this Best Western, but was very very impressed with our stay, the friendliness of the staff, the direct ON BEACH location, the cleanliness of the property, the chill vibe, the great breakfast, the free-coffee-all-day, etc. This was probably my best hotel stay ever in Florida. Would definitely come back!

This is our second year at this hotel and it really is a gem. It is a five minute beach walk the right hand side of the pier so it is a very quiet area of the beach. The views from the balcony are wonderful. 24 hour coffee and a plentiful breakfast that changes daily are a plus!. There is a shuffleboard on a area with grass and trees if you want shade and it is lovely to sit there when the sun is too hot. Rooms are big and very well kept. There is good laundry machines on site. It is a short walk to the main square which is very busy, so you can have both a quiet and lively visit in one location. Spent new years eve there and it is perfect location for wonderful fireworks while sitting on the beach. Highly recommended

For the second time, we spent a week at the BWP in Ft. Myers. It was again a delightful vacation. The staff is so friendly and take pride in keeping the facility and grounds immaculate. Breakfast is varied and a perfect start to each day. I'm sure we'll visit again.

We have stayed at this resort numerous times. We live in Florida and “vacation “ here every couple of months. We chose this resort for the gulf views. We enjoy sitting on the balcony and watching the gulf. Up until this last visit, the room and view has been perfect. However, this last visit our view of the gulf was virtually nonexistent! We did request specific rooms but apparently our request could not be honored. We were assigned to room 503. There is a huge palm tree in front of the balcony. Several other trees are to the right and left obscuring the view of anything other than the trees. If you are considering this hotel for gulf views, re yesterday to be in a room overlooking the pool.

I arrived really early from my overnight flight from Denver last week and the front desk staff went out of their way to accommodate me and allowed me to check in early. I loved that all of the rooms are oceanfront rooms with a short walk to the beach. I love it here.

Great location, sea views rooms about 30 meters to the sea. Beautiful beach access and pool. Sunset from the cloudless sky. Friendly service, Mrs Jordan served a happy smile at the reception! Breakfast excellent. Walking distance to good restaurants, the best being The Yucatan Beach Stand, oh those Frozen Margaritas !! Pete's Time Out offers live music. This hotel was the best place to stay in our trip. Yes! We'll come back here again!

this facility is exceptionally clean, everyone went out of their way to make this a memorable vacation! The view of the gulf is breathtaking especially at sunset. It is nice to have breakfast on site every morning. I would definitely stay here again.

The resort is right on the beach and the sand is pretty compact. My 2 teen kids were able to wheel me in my chair with minimal effort. The grounds are all accessible and there's 2 elevators. We stayed in room 316 which has a large barrier fee roll-in shower. It even came with a stationary shower chair which I didn't use since I have my own wheeled shower chair. The balcony patio isn't accessible due to a small door opening and step. Two full beds which accommodated my family of 4. It would be nice if they added a beach wheelchair. The pool has a lift but I didn't use.

We came to spend the night and watch the fireworks on New Year's Eve. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire property. It is quite clear that staff is very focussed on this matter...this includes our room, the main lobby and the outside area in front. The parking lot even has an attendant to ensure only registered guests park on the property. All rooms have a balcony that faces the very wide beach. This is very much a family place and it does an excellent job of assisting its guests.

This was a perfect walking distance from the restaurants/shops at Fort Myers Beach! The full breakfast & lovely pool/beach area was a great choice for our 4 day weekend with family. It was a fairly short Uber Ride from RSW Airport so no car rental needed- everything we needed was right there! I highly recommend for families of all ages!

We only stayed here for 2 nights, but got a taste of what Fort Myers Beach and the resort had to offer. The hotel was amazing and I had an amazing time there. My parents had been to the same hotel twice before but this was my first time there. The hotel room was big enough for 3, the beach was large and clean while being able to walk to the pier, and the views over the ocean from the room were fantastic. Also the resort is in good walking distance to the center of the small island, where the restaraunts and shops were. They also offered jetskiis on the hotel Beach to rent. We didn't stay for long, but I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

Ben to FT Myers Beach many times over the last 20 years. First time at the Best Western. Truly great. Pool and recreation area right on the beach. Walking distance to many of the attractions around Times Square. Rooms are very clean with outdoor balconies overlooking the beach. Great free warm breakfast. Wonderful helpful staff, especially Joyce.

This hotel is clean, great ocean views, and literally on the ocean. Private beach, free breakfast. The only upgrade needed for the room I was in was the tub/shower. It's clean, but outdated. I highly recommend for the value.

Nice friendly staff. Nice beach and Great location. Breakfast area is too small and not enough places to sit. Wave runners and umbrellas available to rent on site. Overall I would recommend staying here.

The entire property was well kept and clean, located right on the ocean. Breakfast was a plus. It's a pet friendly hotel for those families who dont want to leave their pet behind. Clerk Joy was very kind upon check in.

View is great. If you want to sit on the beach you need to rent a cabana for @30/day chaise are very old worn wooden small and uncomfortable. Accessible rooms are behind the pool on ground floor no view just looking at the pool. A

One of a kind-great fully equipped rooms with a great view of the ocean and the tropical surroundings. Beautiful landscaping with Christmas lights giving a festive atmosphere. Rooms are well constructed and super quiet. Hot breakfast items are delicious and replenished on a frequent basis. Nice pool area with shuffleboard and plenty of chairs in sun and shaded areas. Great beaches to run and walk on and you can view gorgeous sunsets on the ocean from your balcony. This is one vacation getaway is sure to become an annual tradition!

This was the third time we have stayed here. The location is excellent. Sitting on the balcony watching the sunset is so relaxing. Staff are always helpful. Complimentary breakfast is good. Rooms are spacious. Can't ask for more. Would definitely stay here in future.

We stayed here two of the five nights for our recent trip to Ft Myers Beach. I was a little hesitant as BW properties in my area are typically run down. I was pleasantly surprised with this resort. The staff was very friendly, the parrot in the lobby was a hoot (he does say “Polly want a cracker”), the pool was heated and had a great view of the beach and we could rent beach chairs and an umbrella if we wanted to. The breakfast was AMAZING. So many options and the food was delicious. The size of the breakfast room was small but they had tables and chairs outside if you wanted to sit out there. There were a lot of palm trees which provided plenty of shade. Beach was great. The water pressure in the shower was also amazing. The downs: The room was cozy, however we would've liked a queen bed at minimum. Full size are too short for us. During the night the air conditioner would stop running and it got very hot. Once we were up and moving around it magically started cooling the room again. The shuffleboard needs to be repainted. Elevators were slow sometimes and had a weird smell. Hot tub and longer pool hours would be nice. Also you have to walk a ways or get a ride to the nearest restaurant, would be great to have something on site or closer.

Very nice property with very friendly workers. Breakfast was great and had an excellent and attentive staff working it. Beautiful courtyard and view of the sunset. Would definitely stay here again. Quiet area and short walk from all the action.

Location is perfect and within walking distance of restaurants, pier, bars and shopping, though not in the middle of all the crazy action. Hotel overall (rooms, staff, service, breakfast, pool) were all great. Have stayed there twice now and will defintely stay again.

Front desk help were great, from advice where to eat to what to do made our vacation enjoyable. Rooms where clean and pool was nice. Location to board walk a short walk where many places to eat and shops. Only disappointed was had a room with 2 beds for 4 people and they were full sized not queen.

This is our second trip to Fort Myers Beach and our second time to stay at Best Western Plus. Walk out the front door and on the beach. Nothing but good to say about the rooms and the service. Breakfast is exceptional! Love the 24 hours a day coffee machine. The pool is perfect. I have nothing negative to say about any of our experience. Centrally located on the beach. It is walking distance on the beach or sidewalk to the peer for eating and shopping. If it was closer to the airport we would not have even needed a rental car. Coco the talking bird gives the place a nice personal touch. Great Experience. Will stay there our next trip to Fort Myers Beach.

Nothing fancy but a great place to stay- great location close to the action but far enough away for quiet if this is what you prefer- we walked everywhere- Coco is so charming- beautiful beach - was worried about the red tide they were claiming but saw no affects at all- rooms were nice and clean and there is a balcony for every room-

This is our go to hotel every year we visit FMB. We're very impressed that the hotel never seems to show signs wear and tear. Everything is kept very clean, even the sun beds and outdoor furniture. Room overlooking the gulf is spotlessly clean and the complimentary coffee during the day makes for a refreshing change to being charged for everything. Breakfast very much for US tastes, so not perfect for us Brits, but there is sufficient choice to enable a reasonable breakfast. Congrats to the management team and especially Rich on the front desk, who's looks after us so well. Only slight niggle is the aircon units are a little noisy.

A very nice and clean hotel right in the beach for a great price. Rooms are spacious water pressure is strong, the bath towels are big and soft,nice little kitchen area, the pool is nice. If you want ocean view ask for the 5th floor, we were on the 4th floor but the view is completely blocked with palm trees that line the property. The breakfast area is small so if you have a family of 4 with small children it's not easy to find a seat. the breakfast has much to be desired, you can make your own waffles but they have a stale texture to them, the bacon is a low line microwave bacon but your getting free breakfast at a hotel so you can't expect anything great. Overall it's a great hotel and nice staff

We have been visiting here for 8 years and each year gets better!! Beautiful views, very clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is such a great perk, and has a great selection each day! The shelling is great, and the Resort is close to restaurants and shops. We love it here so much that hopefully we will snowbird here!

Great location for a getaway! We brought my parents with us and when they went to bed, we walked down the beach and enjoyed some night life! It within driving distance to Naples, Captiva, and North Fort Myers.

Great location & view, beautiful lobby & Coco the parrot was a blast! He mimicked my laugh immediately!! Rooms had everything you could imagine in the kitchen! So clean & beds were comfy! The complementary breakfast was awesome! So many choices & changes daily! The staff were so friendly & front desk great!

Had a nice stay in October and was impressed with the property and views. Rooms were average size but clean and reasonably updated. Breakfast was better than most and staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is very clean. The staff are so nice, friendly & helpful. Great breakfast each morning. Only negative thing is that there were not enough seating for breakfast. The staff was right there filling hot meals, plates, etc. Again, it was so clean.

We had one day and we decided to stay one night at this hotel. Its right on the beach and each room has a balcony facing the white sandy beach! It was blissful to say the least. Loved every second of our stay. Breakfast was good and even end of October this place was full.

Pros: The hotel has a good breakfast The beach is close and beautiful. The pool is nice. Cons: The rooms are very small. The beds are very high and not that comfortable. The bathroom is very small. Two people can barely move around in the room at one time. Will probably not stay there again. Three sheriff deputies were circulating in the hotel with a picture of a “wanted” person on there clipboard. Two sheriff cars out front. When asked about it, no answers were given. We felt unsafe.

Overall great choice to stay at Fort Myers beach. From the front desk to the breakfast attendants to the housekeeping and upkeep crews we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone was very friendly and attentive to our needs. All questions were answered and extra info such as restaurant recommendations were made with ease.

The people at the hotel was very kind! All the service was very very good. You have a coffee machine at the lobby all day long. The breakfast was perfect and with a lot of things to choose. Sultana and Miriam were very kind and helpful to us from the first day. Thank you girls!!!! The bedroom was very comfortable and it has everything you need in your stay. The location was perfect. One block to the metro and two stops to Times Square! We can't ask for more! We used the metro to go everywhere so stay here was a great experience.

We had a great time! The staff was friendly the grounds were well kept, the beach was nice and clean we rented chairs and umbrellas and wave runners. It was memorable and fun. We will definitely be back.

I was very impressed by this Best Western. We had a suite with a full kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Very clean. Full breakfast buffet offered each morning, free. Beautiful beach. Beautiful yard and pool. We will be back.

We were pleasantly surprised at the room as well as the overall resort. Staff very friendly and property very clean. Parrot in the lobby a neat addition, although it did startle my husband when it said hello in the morning when he went to get his coffee. Breakfast was very good and view from our balcony was almost perfect. A tree blocked it a little

The main asset of this hotel is its location. Compared to Miami and Orland hotel rooms are a lot pricier on the west coast, but this hotel is a great choice in Fort Myers beach. Location is fantastic just off the beach, with all rooms having balconies facing the sea. Just a short stroll to the local centre Times square with restaurants and shops. We had a double queen room but the beds are not made for two people - very narrow and bad mattresses. When complaining we immediately got an extrabed to the room though. Breakfast buffet is ok, not fantastic but not bad either, and best of all it was free. The hotel does not have a gym. All in all it was a decent hotel with a great location.

We decide to go for a couple of days for our anniversary. I choose this hotel because is right on the beach. It has a pool but we didn't use it. The room was clean. What I didn't like is that one of the beds was next to the AC unit. The beds are full size. The room has a waterfront view. Overall I like the hotel and for sure I will stay again. The breakfast was good and had options. The location is great walking distance to the little town. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

Wonderful staff, location and beach. Great continental breakfast. Our stay was short, but sweet and we would stay here again at Best Western Fort Myers Beach. It was within walking distance to everything.

This BW beach is very clean and the staff is more than friendly, beach towels are provided but lounge chairs and umbrellas are an additional cost. Loads of restaurants and shops all within a short walking distance by using beach or side walk and great place to watch the sunset.

This area you will want to come back to. Everything here is close to Best Western Plus. However don't go too far because you need to use the facilities BW offers. A relaxing stay...clean hotel and courteous staff. A great place.

Spent 4 days at BWPFM last week, great location, staff friendly and helpful. Overall great experience, rained one evening and unfortunately they did not have any umbrellas, my only complaint. 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. Will go back again.

We were getting away from the hurricane. I have stayed at Best Western Plus Beach Resort many times but did not think I would be able to stay on a holiday weekend. Called, front desk got me 2 rooms at a super price for the time of year. We did not know how long we were staying due to weather and the front desk worked with us. Thank you and your staff. We usually do condo. My parents stayed here and loved it so we gave it a try. From the great staff making such an impressive on us. We will come back. There was free breakfast, free WiFi, free parking and a lovely short walk to all the action. It was quiet and peaceful. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. I have been staying at the Best Western Plus Beach Resort in Fort Myers Beach for over ten years. I usually come with my husband for a weekend getaway, and sometimes friends join us. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Every view is a beautiful ocean view. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a large variety of items, is fresh and hot. And don't forget Coco! This is a lovely hotel and our experience is always delightful.

This is the first time I ve stayed at this hotel, my family and I have been doing "staycations" at FMB almost annually for 17 years. I got a great nightly rate from the BW website is the main reason I stayed here and was not disappointed! It s not fancy and doesnt have 'resort' accommodations, but at least parking was free and no extra fees! The location on the beach is awesome, walking distance to everything, yet far away from the crowds to be peaceful. The hotel common areas were well taken care of, rooms were clean and updated with a full kitchen. Free breakfast every morning was warm and fresh. Staff was friendly and the maintenance person was there all day/night. Only complaint was that there was only one slow elevator, therefore, if you stay on one of the top floors, like we did on the 5th, you have to either wait for it or take the stairs. I do recommend staying on one of the top floors so you have unobstructed views of the beach. My husband cant wait to go back!

This hotel was a perfect location for our girls trip. The hotel is clean, staff were all friendly, rooms are spacious, breakfast every morning is a plus, and the view from each room is wonderful. The beach here is beautiful and quiet. They provide pool towels which was great since we flew and had limited luggage space. It's within walking distance to many restaurants and shops so we never needed a car. Say “hello” to Coco if you go.

The staffs (including the Parrot Coco) were pleasant and made our stay enjoyable. The hot breakfast was OK but not exceptional. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The floor was little bit slippery and the AC noisy, but beside that everything was fine. It's a great hotel with heated pool, playground area, and very nice beach. It is very well located near the pier, shops, and restaurants. We'll definitively be back!

The location was quieter than most, easy half mile walk to restaurants and some small shops. The grounds were kept very clean, along with the beach area. The price was a little higher than some, but for the most part worth it. I would stay here again.

I totally recommend this place to anyone. The staff the food everything was perfect. When I first arrived and there was no electricity. However the staff Was so accommodating and is why I didn't change to another hotel. If I can Suggest something it will be to make The front of the hotel or a tractive Pury by changing to a less driver your color and some plants etc. beach decoration Theme.

This is the second time staying here and I would go back again in a heart beat! It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Fort Meyers beach but still convenient to everything! The property is beautiful, and the amenities are more than adequate..I love it there!

Just returned from a stay at the beautifully decorated cottage just steps from the beach. This resort includes everything you need for a relaxing trip to the gulf. You can easily walk to the center of town for shopping and a great assortment of restaurants. The on-site breakfast which is included with your stay is the best I've ever had at a hotel. ALL the staff was friendly and attentive and determined to suit your every need. I would highly recommend this hotel! Thanks for a great stay!!

What a great place for a group getaway. We stayed three nights in the cottage and three rooms on the first floor. The cottage and hotel rooms are steps away from sand and fun! The staff was friendly and helpful. I look forward to a return visit in the future.

This was an amazing hotel that my friends and I truly enjoyed. It was clean, fresh, & well taken care of. The view from all of the rooms was incredible and the beaches were pristine. you could walk out into the ocean for quite a ways where it was still very shallow and clear. Just beautiful!! I will certainly be back!

Beach front rooms provide an excellent view. Entire staff extremely kind and helpful always offering a smile. Motel is located in walking distance to shops, beach front bars and restaurants. The free breakfast provided is awesome.

Place has everything needed to get away with family. Kept nice, good amenities and Jeff at the desk was one of the best hosts ever. Beach is right out back door and pook was clean and warm. Even used grill in park area.

We took family and grandkids and had a great time. Everyone was very nice. Breakfast was very good and included. Rooms were clean. Pool clean. But if you smell any cigarette smell you need to let them know. We didn't no that but next time we go back they will handle it. Even throw we still had a great time.

We got out of town to spend a couple of days by the beach. The room was clean, efficient, and the surroundings were beautiful. The breakfast buffets were very good and the coffee was the best. We had a perfect view of the Gulf from our room and the bed was extremely comfortable.

This was an expensive resort and the rooms are a lot to be desired. The decor is unattractive and the room was dirty. The bathroom tub had some greasy residue on the bottom of it. The water pressure was non existent and one night there was no hot water! The umbrella should come with the price of the room for what they charge!

We all love our stay at the Best Western Plus Beach Resort in Ft. Myers. It's really an excellent hotel with an excellent service. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of choices. If you are looking for a quiet, family place with beautiful surroundings, we highly recommend this hotel.

Me and my husband stayed one night at this hotel. The room was clean and overlooked the ocean. All the employees were encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room was ready early when we arrived at 1230pm so that was great. They even allowed us late checkout the next day at noon. The oceanfront pool was clean and we had no problem finding a chair to relax. The free continental breakfast in the morning was very good. The hotel is a short walk to the Times Square area with restraunts, bars and shopping. Overall this is a great hotel and we would definitely stay here again.

Been to the FMB numerous times and this is by far our favorite place. A little out of the way, but that just made the beach experience more pleasurable, not as crowded if we were closer to the square. Walk to the square was about 7 minutes. Great staff, Great location !

This Hotel and staff were outstanding. The grounds are beautiful. We even ran into a Young woman, at another destination, who had her wedding here and expressed how wonderful the facility and staff were with her party. I can't say enough about the absolutely wonderful experience we had here. Everyone and everything was beyond my expectations. We will definitely be back! Thank you Best Western!

This hotel was awesome. So many people walking the beach would stop and ask the name of the hotel. Beautiful palm trees lined the premises which I did not see at other hotels. All rooms were Beach front, literally less than 100 yards away. No resort fees, free breakfast and parking. Water activities right on site! The ONLY two cons I can think of were low water pressure at the kitchen sink and the beds were a bit hard, but don't worry ladies... there was enough shower pressure for rinsing out your hair! :) Very convenient location with 7-11 across the street and Walmart within 5 miles. Eat at THE DOGHOUSE - tell them Wichita, KS sent ya! You WILL NOT be disappointed with this eatery or hotel.

Stayed for July 4th week and it was fantastic. Our balcony had an awesome view of the fireworks from the pier. View of the beach is breathtaking. Room was clean breakfast was very good. Quick walk to Times Square. This was our second time here and will definitely come back.

This was our second visit to the Bestwestern plus and we really enjoyed our stay. This is also a pet friendly place.Please note that this is also NOT a 100% smoke-free place. A lot of the rooms overlook the Gulf of Mexico and is absolutely beautiful! Short walk to Times Square. And only 30 minutes from the Fort Myers international airport. I'ts a 30 minute drive to Naples. Overall it's a great place and I recommend it highly.

Amazing last minute decision to stay here. The hotel is immaculate and the staff is wonderful. Breakfast was great. Absolutely perfect location. We can't wait to get back soon with our family to stay again

Facility was clean, breakfast was good,with good variety daily, ladies kept food fresh and dining area clean, would stay here again. Only complaint is that the pool water was too warm, with heat index at 100+, the pool was not refreshing.

We are Best Western fans! Have stayed in many and have stayed in BW Plus, which this one is. And this was one of the nicest! The view was spectacular! Our 5th floor (top floor) room had a view above the palm trees of the gorgeous blue green Gulf. The cleanliness and attention to detail was amazing. There was always someone cleaning somewhere, or attending to the pool, or spreading grass seed or cleaning the parrot, Coco's, cage. Breakfast, which is included, was far better than any other BW. There were many choices, the serving dishes were classy and the hostesses were always keeping up with the guests. The grounds are really nice. There is a BBQ, Adirondack chairs throughout, nice grassy area, big pool with balls, noodles and the like. The staff are polite and always asking what they can do to help. This is a great spot and close to 'times square", Bowditch Park and the fishing pier, all are walkable. Enjoy your time here! We surely did. Enjoy!

This is our second visit to the Bestwestern and it's such a nice hotel.The staff is very polite and the rooms are very clean. You can't ask for more if you love the beach, I think most of the rooms look right out to the Gulf of Mexico. The breakfast is included- which had eggs, cereal,yogurt etc...Coffee is 24/7- also in walking distance there is a place called Time Square that has restaurants and shops.

Each room in this resort face a palm tree lined beach. So nice to sit out on your own balcony and watch the waves each morning. The pool borders the beach, so you can simply sit in a pool chair facing the beach rather than rent expensive chairs closer to the water. The breakfast was great and there was indoor and outdoor seating facing a beautiful courtyard. The hotel is in walking distance to Times Square where there are a number of beach side restaurants. A few of the restaurants offer nightly live music. Rooms at this hotel were equipped with a kitchenette, including a full sized fridge. Air conditioning temperature was easy to regulate.

Nice hotel. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was very good. Included hot items and varieties of coffee styles. Breakfast area was a bit cramped but we managed. All rooms are beachfront. Easy pool access as well as beach where you can rent chairs and umbrellas. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Would definitely consider going back.

Stayed for 6 days in June. Upon arrival after the check in time our room was not ready.. Then on 2 seperate days after leaving our room for the day we recieved no housekeeping service. They lied and said "the do not disturb sign" was on the door. It was on the door until we left the room in the morning.. Im not sure what time im supposed to get out of my room so its gets cleand?? I spoke with the Manager Rich who was very nice and adjusted our bill somewhat.. The place is in a great location and the staff is nice but the housekeping is a different story. This room was not cheap so I think we should not have to fight to get pour room cleaned.

Hotel location is perfect.Rooms are exceptionally clean and the premises are kept spotless.The management and staff go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible.Joy and Rich were excellent at the front counter in assisting us with any questions or concerns that we had.The balconies,breakfast,pool,and staff members were all great.Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else on the beach.Our family has been staying here over 18 years.Keep up the good work BEST WESTERN!

This hotel is right on the beach and all rooms have balconies that face the beach. There is a pool and a nice garden area with chairs, shuffleboard, and play area for kids. Chairs and umbrella can be rented on the beach as well as other beach items. Free parking. Lots of shops and restaurants which are within walking distance. The hotel and our room was very clean and nicely decorated. Our room had two beds, a small kitchen with two burner cooktop, microwave, small sink and full size refrigerator. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The lady that works the breakfast room kept everything very clean and the food was hot. The best breakfast of any Best Western we have stayed. The only complaint we had was the A/C unit was right next to one of the beds and the fan blew directly at you. No way to adjust the vents.

Very nice, clean hotel. Good variety of breakfast options excellent coffee! You always seen someone cleaning something. The outside areas are well taken care of. We checked in late and the lady that checked us in allowed us to use the pool and beach as long as we had our bracelets after we checked out.

Located directly on the gulf beach on the northern end of Estero Island (Forty Myers Beach), a short distance north of the bridge from the mainland, this hotel is within easy walking distance of the pier, the Times Square area with its many restaurants, bars and shops, and Bowditch Point Park's beach and natural area. The beach directly in front the hotel is great from swimming and shelling. We found that the location prevented the need to drive anywhere during our stay, a great advantage given the traffic on the island. The hotel is very clean and well maintained inside and out with a friendly helpful staff, a nice outdoor pool, shuffle board and garden area with grill facilities for guest use. Parking is free as is the strong, reliable Wi-Fi through the hotel, and the full complimentary breakfast. Our room was super clean and overlooked the beach, as do all rooms, with a small balcony that we enjoyed in the evenings and mornings. Our room included two comfortable beds, a nice spotless bathroom, and a kitchen area with a full sized refrigerator-freezer, cooktop, microwave, sink, coffeemaker and basic cook and tableware.

Friendly, comfy, soft beds, beautiful views, wonderful breakfast, good customer service. Couple minor improvements needed, but overall highly recommend. Told them to clean handi-able shower with toilet bowl cleaner for fresher looking grout. Fix slow elevator. Add check room alarm to make sure it's off for each checkin. Ours was left on for 6am. Last improvement would be to change out satellite television. It does not work for FL. Goes down a lot. Other than those minor issues we really really enjoyed our stay and would go again. We gave 4.5 on Facebook out of 5.0 already. Every room has an amazing view of the ocean and the area restaurants are excellent and many open late. Really a nice place to stay.

I've stayed here in the past and as always I get great service, clean rooms, beautiful views, and a terrific complimentary breakfast. The hotel is located on the north side of the island, a short walk to time square. Whenever I visit Fort Myers Beach I always stay here.

We've stayed at other hotels on Ft. Myers Beach, but this Best Western Plus is the only place we will stay at now. It is so well-kept and beautiful, both inside and out (the grounds, pool, etc), the employees are kind and helpful and efficient and really make you feel at home. All rooms have a deck/patio that is faces the beach/gulf...great views and listening the the waves! They serve a great breakfast buffet, too! The location is perfect, walking distance from the pier, Town Square with restaurants and shops, and such a perfect beach...truly a wonderful experience for us! We can't wait to come back!

Beach here is clean and well kept. The hotel is very clean and easy to access. Staff here is friendly and accommodating to any needs. Breakfast is inclused and always very good. Within walking distance of the pier and several restaurants.

My room and the entire hotel were immaculate, decorations were tasteful and very beautiful, the breakfast was superb, the proximity to fantastic restaurants was idea and each and every staff member were wonderful.

What a positive experience visiting this location!! From the cleanliness of all the common areas and rooms, exquisite breakfast, impeccable bathrooms to the activities , this is the place to be if you are in the Fort Myers beach area. All rooms are oceanfront, check in was a breeze, Joy is an excellent team member as was very attentive to all questions and concerns not only by me but for all guest that she interacted with!!! The room I stayed in was equipped with a full kitchen, full size fridge, coffee maker and multiple toiletries. Multiple places to eat near by, Pier is a short walk away, location is perfect!!! All the employees I interacted with were very polite and friendly, even Coco the mascot in the lobby will say Hi every time...Full complimentary breakfast was abundant and with multiple choices. You won't be disappointed...

We truly enjoyed our weekend getaway. The room exceeded our expectation in terms of size. We were on the fifth floor and the view was perfection! Walking distance to all the action. We will definitely stay again!

Overall entire hotel spotless, (room, pool area, breakfast area, entrance area, parking, hallways, elevator, landscaping, etc. Staff friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. I recommend and will certainly repeat my stay.

We use to visit here probably 8+ years ago but moved to WA, then OH. We always visited during December. We now live in NH. The weather this week is great & it is not overly crowded. The hotel is the same. Coco the Parrot hangs out in the lobby. Breakfast is good, salt water pool is terrific, beach, restaurants near by. We are really enjoying this trip.

Stayed with my daughter for a mother-daughter vacation recently. Stayed at the BW Plus Beachfront last year as well. Just love this hotel. Perfect location, amazingly friendly & accommodating staff and nice clean rooms with a kitchen area making it the best place to stay if you're not into eating out every single meal of your trip. The location on the beach is great and it's within walking distance to the Ft Myers Beach Pier with all it's restaurants & shops. Easy drive into Ft Myers or Estero as well. Crazy crowded during Spring Break as we discovered last year, however we went back this year after the Spring Break crowds left and it was awesome. Combined with amazing weather & it was a perfect vacation. We will definitely be back!

We stayed for a 6 nights late Apr to early May and found everything was excellent, the staff, room, breakfast and pool. Good 1st evening welcome by the desk staff and very efficient which helped after a long drive and you just want to rest up. We found all the staff were friendly and, unprompted, they always asked if they could help with anything. I must say a special thanks to Rich Szatanski for fixing a problem with a BW Reward card and his negotiations on our behalf. It was lovely holiday due to choosing BWP Fort Myers Beach. Although it's a long way from rural England we love our little piece of Florida Paradise. Penner Family

Very well located and top notch facility. From the lobby and rooms to the staff. All are top notch.The pool was always clean and the beach was perfect, with umbrellas and chaises for rent. The breakfast has a vast variety of food, form cereal with 4 types of milk to waffles and eggs. Some days they even had biscuits and gravy. The room is a little small, but well laid out with two queen beds. Up graded bath with wonderful towels and great pillows. Can't wait to get back there soon.

The location is awesome and it is right on the beach. The place is clean. The rooms are pretty small and a little dated. The staff was helpful. The breakfast is pretty basic (powdered eggs and only a few choices, but average and typical). At a resort location like this, I would expect a better breakfast. We stayed there in early May and the weather was good, windy, but good. Another small issue is that getting to the island where the hotel was very difficult. The traffic gets backed up on the one bridge. I would not likely stay there again, as I think I would look at Sanibel and some other locations.

Stayed here during March 2019 spring break! Hotel staff controled disruptive teens respectfully to allow all guests to enjoy pool. Location was great! Breakfast provided everyday, try to go early before 930am -10am crowds. Room was very clean, but mattress was very uncomfortable and broken down. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beach was steps from lobby back door and was fantastic; ,chairs,umbrellas, water craft available for rent. Outstanding view of the sunset.

This was a quick weekend getaway for me and my wife. We were amazed at the ocean view from our hotel balcony. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the complimentary breakfast was great. They even had gluten free bread! The hotel is minutes walk to the main square where all the action is. We had a great stay.

Was looking for a place to stay on the beach in Fort Myers. I found this place at good price compared to the others. SO I booked it for my family and I. My son is very hyper active the staff was very patient with him. Just for that I am thankful, and would stay there again!

The view from the balcony was beautiful and the kitchenette was great to have. The hotel is just far enough from Times Square for peace and quiet but well within walking distance for the nightlife and shops there.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights with my aunt and uncle during my spring break. The room was the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in considering the nonstop beach traffic with sand, shells, and water that comes through the lobby area and into the rooms. The bathroom and room was well cleaned for sure. The room itself was fine, clean and well kept. However, it was tiny. Two king beds hardly fit in there and then to add a rollaway for me was impossible to squeeze in. We had to put it in the kitchenette, hence creating an unsafe evacuation route if we needed to leave. It was not a big deal, just a little unsettling. The breakfast was pretty good, a nice selection. The staff seemed a little frazzled as if they were on a big rush and could not keep up. No complaints though, it was very tasty. The best part of the stay was the beach access by far. The private beach and chair rentals were very handy since we flew in and could not bring chairs and an umbrella with us. Overall, a friendly and helpful staff. A great place to stay if your family is looking for a private and quaint little vacation. Attached are some photos of the hotel area and beach.

Amazing place. Staff is so accommodating and friendly. Everything you need in a vacation at your fingertips. The pool was wonderful. Having the Gulf of Mexico a few steps from our room was amazing. We will be back. Best vacation ever.

My husband and I try to go here every year. It is clean safe and refreshing staff is personable and cheerful. It is within walking distance to many places to eat shop and just sit and relax and take in the surroundings.

Our room had a lovely balcony over looking the ocean where we could watch the sunset each evening. The pool area was clean and the water was warm! We also were able to rent umbrellas and chairs directly in front of our hotel each day. The hotel breakfast was above average with several options. The location was far enough away from the public beach to provide privacy and a lot less people but well with in walking distance of time square and all the shops and entertainment. We didn't even need a car - we used Lyft to drive in from the airport. Will definitely be going back.

Room was very clean - will definitely go back. Beds were comfortable, Hotel was quiet, Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good and the view to beach was incredible. Walk out the sliding doors and you're right at the beach.

We have been staying here for 15 yrs now. Every year is better than the last one because we see the little improvements made each year to make our stay more enjoyable. Great water sports at the beach with a great staff.

This is a hotel that does exactly what we needed. Comfortable spacious room with a fantastic view of the beautiful beach. It's a good spot too, away from the melee towards Time Square, but easy walking distance. Pool isn't huge, but well kept and ideal for cooling off, especially when the sea has red tide as it does at present. Big thank you to Marina at breakfast who made me fresh fruit salad without me having asked her to - hugely appreciated, made me feel very welcome.

Fantastic Motel right on the beach. Wonderful staff. Rich at the front desk couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. A little pricy but way cheaper than taking a Carribean vacation at a beach resort. Leave your car in the parking lot and walk a short distance to the restaurants by the fishing peer. Great experience. We will be back again.

My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay for spring break. After traveling further south/east on the island, we quickly realized that our location was the best. Everything you need is within walking distance. The breakfast was great and the hotel staff was so nice.

Been going to bwbeach resort in Fort Myers Beach for 6 years and love it! GREAT PLACE!!! Always clean and comfortable, awesome staff , delicious breakfast and beautiful beach!!!!! Will be returning next year for sure!

We recently stayed at Best Western Plus Beach Resort and were very satisfied with our visit. This was our 7th time staying here and we plan to visit in the future. Friendly staff, clean facilities, and great location keep us coming back.

Best Western Plus Beach is a lovely place to stay on Fort Myers Beach. The accommodations are lovely and the views from the rooms and the pool are the best on the beach! Close enough to Times Square for food, drinks and shopping or entertainment yet feels like it's a world of its own away from the hustle and bustle.

With the exception of the location, this hotel checks all the boxes. Staff friendly, clean, quite, good value and family friendly. When it comes to location the box is double checked. Right on the beach, and not just a small beach but a deep lot of pure sugar sands. The beach is private and provides a nice walk north to Bowitch point or South to the stores and bars...all within 20 mins or less. There are plenty of beach chairs for rent which is a big plus so no need to drag chairs to the sand. We only spent one night but I would recommend. It's not the la playa in Naples, but it's $300 cheaper . Compared to the Pink Shell, it's smaller, less crowded. Again, I would recommend and was pleased with our family stay

My wife and I got away for a long weekend. We were made to feel welcome by front desk lady and from there it was great. Paying for beach chairs and umbrellas daily was a bit much, if you ask me. Room was nice with a good view.

This is the place to stay on Fort Myers Beach. The rooms are beautiful. The staff are amazing. Their breakfast is out of this world. The pool is heated and the beach is clean. Coffee/Tea and such 24/7.

Hotel is in a great location. Beautiful grounds and kept very clean. I have stayed here in the past. However this time the office staff were very rude. Joy at the front desk was very sarcastic and not friendly. I understand it's spring break and the hotel is busy however that is absolutely no excuse to treat a guest the way that I was treated when I ask a question. I may seek another place to stay next year.

Beautiful surroundings, right on the beach. It was a short walk to shopping, dining and the pier. Breakfast was great, including gluten free options. There were some areas that were shaded from the sun, which was helpful. Just about the best sand you can imagine:)

We were there with a bus group for 10 days. The room was beautiful and very clean. We had a perfect view of incredible sunsets from our balcony. We were in walking distance to many places to eat and shop. The beach was wonderful for walks. The breakfast that was included was very good and the breakfast staff very kind and helpful. A cute parrot was in the lobby. Weather was too cold for pool or ocean but we enjoyed our walks looking for shells.

This have been the 5th outstanding extended spring vacation stay at this Best Western Plus Beach Resort over the past 5 years. All rooms overlooking the beautiful beach. The included breakfast was outstanding.

Amazing staff and help. Beautiful grounds and beach front property. Everything was well maintained and clean. The outdoor pool was wonderful. High Recommend to others. There is even a talking Parrot in the main lobby. Just an extra bonus!

This hotel is located perfectly away from all the crazy traffic in Ft Myers beach. The hotel and grounds are kept immaculately clean. The breakfast could have included more fresh fruit but had plenty of choices. The view from our room on the 4th floor was beautiful. Great place to view the sunset. Pool was nothing fancy but kept at a great temperature and overlooked the beach. If back in Ft Myers would definitely stay again just to get that view from the balcony even if it's a bit expensive. The beach itself was great for walking although the plentiful seaweed did not make it very inviting to go in the water. Would recommend for the location, view and that it's managed very well.

This is a wonderful place. The Bermuda grass set the tone for a very comforting area. The breakfast bar was great as was everything from the pet parrot to the shuffle board courts by the beach. Rooms spacious and pleasant.

I can't begin to describe how awesome this place was!!! My wife and I traveled here from Nebraska and stayed here for our 10 year anniversary, and came down for a Twins game (huge Twins fans). We had the absolute BEST time at the Best Western Plus. We walked the beach to other resorts and while they were nice, we had all the privacy in the world here. We loved the chair rentals, heated pools, and the service was outstanding. We were so pumped for this trip, and it was EVERYTHING we had ever asked for. Thanks soooo much to the folks at Best Western Plus Beach Resort, as this was a time that I will NEVER forget. You guys absolutely ROCK!!! :)

Perfect location - quiet location, yet short walk to restaurants, bars shops, etc.. clean rooms - every room is oceanfront! Staff is great, accommodating. Especially great value with breakfast included!

We spent 6 days and nights from March 10 - March 16 and the Best Western Plus Hotel in FT Myers is a fantastic place to stay. The convenience to the Pool and beach is perfect! We loved the service and the white sandy beach and the well maintained pool!

my daughter is gluten free and they had options for her, the room was spacious and the pool area was also great. room was beachside so could walk directly to beach, was also walkabel to the downtown area with many food options and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

Super vacation, super clean rooms and all face the beach with balconies with enough room for 2 chairs and table. Great to eat morning breakfast while watching the walkers on the beach and at night a cocktail watching the sunset. The pool is warn and clean. The grounds are beautiful and there is an area to sit and watch the people play shuffleboard. Best Western is located 1/4 mile from Time Square are and there are plenty of places to eat and shop. Plus public park (Bowditch) is a short walk away. All the staff was very friendly and very helpful.

awesome location/beach/facility and staff made the trip worth while. Breakfast was very good and the rooms well updated and clean. Pool was clean and the garden area was very relaxing. I would and have recommended this to our friends for future stays. I have also booked for next year already.

This is a great hotel for families and couples. Every room has a beach view and they are all very clean and well done. Breakfast is hot, fresh and has a great variety. Just a short walk down the beach to the really cool entertainment mecca on Ft Myers Beach. Beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico from every room!. Beautiful pool, and beach. And an outstandingly beautiful hotel, with a kind and caring staff. Delicious breakfasts to start your day, and then let the games begin! I've stayed there before, and will stay there again, and again. It is my home away from home! It just doesn't get any better than this!

We love this hotel and it is the only one we stay at when at Fort Myers Beach. The pool is great and you have a beautiful view of the ocean from the pool area. if you want to sit in the shade they have a great grassy area to hang out and enjoy the ocean view. The staff is amazing and very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is great. You are within walking distance of Time Square and many very good place to eat.

We had a great stay here. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. But what was incredible was that while showering I lost my earring down the drain. I really didn't expect to get it back but thought I would ask. The staff was very gracious and more than willing to try. The maintenance team removed the drain and sucked my earring out with a shop vac!! I was elated and so appreciative.

Location is the best. Staff friendly, heated pool great. But being on the beach is the best. Cabana and chair rentals out front by Holiday Water Sports. Jet ski, paddle board, parasailing etc. Morning view of the Key West Express heading south with a killer Sunset looking out towards Sanibel Island.

Although you pay a little extra for this hotel, the overall experience you have will be great! Friendly & accommodating staff. The breakfast was wonderful. Only downfall, is the beds were too soft, would be better to be firm.

Don't let Best Western name deter you from staying here. Clean rooms with small kitchenette area. All rooms face the beach. Very friendly service. Free morning breakfast bar. Located right on beach. Nice size pool. About a 1/2 mile or less walking distance (sidewalks) to numerous bars, outdoor restaurants, beachy shops, etc...Great place for a short getaway. Traffic getting over the bridge on to the island can be tough, but you are away from where most is going once over the bridge. I recommend staying here.

We were a couple and stayed for 2 nights in a 2nd floor room. We found our stay to be just OK. Positives - 1. Clean facility located directly on the beach. 2. Free basic breakfast included. Included a couple of hot items (eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy). 3. Free parking. 4. Good location, within walking distance to main Fort Myers Beach restaurant/bar area. 5. Outdoor pool available. Pool is directly on beach. Negatives - 1. No fitness room included. 2. No room service available. 3. Breakfast area is too small for number of guests. 4. Nighttime front desk staff was somewhat grumpy. 5. No hot tub available. 6. Pool closed at dusk, so no early evening swim available. Overall property and service were just ok for us.

We check in quickly, drop our bags in our room, step out on our balcony--WOW, it's so good to be back here again! The view, beach, comfort, clean, friendly, no surprises, convenience to bars, food & entertainment - everything we need for our vacation.Wouldn't think about going anywhere else. We go there every year from late Feb. to mid March. We enjoy staying in the 5th floor suite which has a separate bedroom and an extra long balcony which covers both the main living area and bedroom. Our suite overlooks the pool area and offers excellent views of the Gulf and the nicely-landscaped grounds where we usually spend part of our afternoons enjoying some drinks while we read a book or just relax after coming back from the mainland. The included breakfasts are nice and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. Not cheap, but really nice. All suites face the ocean.

i have stayed here before and always loved it especially the location and view. the hotel is so close to the gulf that its enjoyable to walk the beach and just enjoy the sunsets. ive always loved the lawn chairs at the back of the hotel to just hang out , drink coffee and relax. the breakfast is great and as plenty to eat. this hotel is walking distance to all the restaurants and stores and pier. the rooms have been remodeled and are clean and its nice to have a mini kitchen also. the front desk people are nice an helpful. love the stay
