« Wonderful Mother Daughter Getaway »

All exterior corridors at this property, however beautifully appointed rooms. Located just steps away from the powder white beach! A well honed staff always looked busy tending to the windows and lobby. A stellar hot buffet breakfast that had more than just your standard items. Over all it was just what we needed for our getaway! Oh, and Fort Meyers Down town is absolutely stunning during the holidays it is very well decorated.

    « Love this Hotel »

Whenever we want to get away to the beach and take our two dogs this is the 1st place we think of-i cant say enough about this top notch hotel which offers great ocean views, a fully equipped kitchen including a refrig/freezer, microwave, dishes, silverware, comfortable beds, nicely furnished rooms, great LG tvs, and a super quiet room even on a packed out Thanksgiving holiday wknd! You'll love the beatifully landscaped grounds, the open lobby area where you can pick up your complementary USA newspaper, coffee and tea anytime and a great buffet breakfast every morning. We love the chairs under the tiki hut that overlook the beach, which is perfect for walking/running. The hotel is only a short walk from the town square which features open air restaurants with live music, ice cream parlors, and shops. If you have small dogs you ll love this place as they dont sacrifice quality for their pet friendly facility. If you re looking for a beach getaway with a great view and a very well maintained and managed hotel at a reasonable price, you can look no further-you have found what you are looking for!

    « A great getaway »

A well run hotel that offers all the amenities I would expect. Very much enjoyed our stay. We had a child with special needs and she really enjoyed the whole experience. Offers a great pool, large beach, balcony off each room, and is directly beach side. Even the parking lot is beautiful with pavers and a well maintained assortment of vegetation.

« Great little beach resort! »

We recently stayed here for 3 nights. We had a dbl King, oceanfront room. Check in was a breeze and front desk employees were warm and welcoming. Our room was huge, modern and super clean. We had a kitchenette (w utensils/dishes and a full size frig), a sofa sleeper, a recliner, 2 king beds, a closet and a small bathroom. The balcony was large, with 3 chairs and a small table. Even the outside furniture was clean. The wifi is free, but sometimes slow/off-on. The outside grounds are well groomed and beautiful. At first glance, one might think they were at a Caribbean resort. There is a small pool, shuffleboard, swings, and plenty of chairs/loungers. The beach umbrella/chairs are for rental, and are not included in your stay. The hotel does provide beach/pool towels. The beach is pristine and shells abound. I was disappointed that the water wasn't the clear blue like it is a little further north of Fort Myers. We found all the employees to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. The gals did a great job keeping the free breakfast buffet running smoothly, and our cleaning crew did a super job with our room as well. The hotel is close to everything. Shops, restaurants and charters, bike rentals are all within walking distance. Sanibel Island and outlets are just a short drive away, and a Walmart is within 2 miles of resort. We would most certainly stay here again.

The pool was very warm and clean. I would definitely stay there again. Also the location to the Time Square was great walked everywhere,

    « Wonderful Beach Get-Away »

I never thought a Best Western could be at the top of my list for a beach vacation. Boy, was I wrong. This place is relaxed, clean and everything I wanted. Walkability to restaurants, the pier and a few great watering holes makes this place a must. The beach is sweet! Just loved this place. Looking forward to our next visit.

« We Stay Here Every Year! »

We love this place! From the waterfront balconies, the full kitchens, breakfast each morning and the location, it is hard to say which amenity is the most important. It has a quiet vibe, perfect for these soon-to-be retirees! My favorite thing is an early morning walk on the beach, followed by a great breakfast and then a beach chair to relax and get some sun. Highly recommend.

    « Amazing »

We have stayed at the Best Western on Ft Myers Beach several times over the past 4 years. It is always clean, the staff is always friendly and will do what ever they need to to help you. Most of the staff has been the same over the past years, and they remember us from year to year, which also helps make the experience amazing!

« My stay at Best Western Plus »

I have always stayed at this hotel resort. I would never stay at any other hotel. The whole staff; front desk, employees that work there always make you feel like you are family. The hotel is soooooooo clean and comfortable that once you check in you don't want to go back home. I highly rate this hotel with a 10 plus......

« Clean, modern hotel on the beach. »

This Best Western on Ft. Myers Beach was very nice! Very clean and very modern. The room was very nice, and had a fridge, stove (no oven), microwave, sink, and ample kitchen utensils. All rooms face the beach and all have their own small, private balcony. We were especially impressed with the breakfasts that were offered. The items were presented in a serve yourself style, and everything was very fresh and hot (eggs, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy). A nice variety of other items as well -- oatmeal, yogurt, and muffins. And of course coffee, milk, and juices. The beach area was clean and private, and there was also a small pool on the property. The outdoor area (grass/trees) between the hotel and the beach was kept very nice as well. There were chairs to sit and relax in this area as well as set up on the beach. Very good value!

« Great getaway site in Fort Meyers Beach »

If you are looking for a great getaway in the Ft. Meyers Beach area, consider this hotel a prime choice. The rooms are comfortable, contain a fully stocked kitchenette, and have a balcony that looks out into the gulf. The sand beach is wonderful, there are cabanas for use, plus you can rent ski jets right out front. It is a short walk to the town center where numerous beach restaurants are located. All in all, a great economical choice.

« Always an enjoyable experience here »

This was our 7th stay at The Best Western Plus Ft. Myers Beach. Obviously we love it or we wouldn't keep returning. We have met the nicest people here who are also repeat guests. It's a very friendly, "homey" atmosphere. Imagine waking every morning to a beautiful view and the smell of fresh coffee, waffles, eggs and bacon/sausage awaiting you at the free breakfast buffet. In addition there's cereals, yogurt, breads, muffins, juices and fresh fruit. The coffee machine with many varieties is open 24 hours at no charge. It's a great way to start the day without having to drive or walk a distance to eat. There's a small intimate breakfast area or a patio with tables/chairs right outside the lobby. At 9:00 the beach chairs and umbrellas are put up for you to affordably rent until 5:00. The heated pool has lounges set up at no charge and is open until dusk. It's a short walk to the Times Square area with many bars, restaurants and shops. You can choose to walk on the beach along the water's edge or on the sidewalk on the road in front of the hotel. Either way it's only about a 6-7 minute walk. This is the best location of any place to stay on the beach. The grounds also have plenty of shade with mature palm trees and comfortable chairs to sit and just relax or have a game of shuffleboard. Every staff member is pleasant and, as busy as they are, will always stop to answer questions, chat or get whatever you might need. At night you'll return to your updated, clean, comfortable room all made up and dream of the next day. You won't want to leave and will never regret the decision to have chosen this hotel.

    « Great stay »

We always enjoy staying here. Free breakfast, clean beachfront rooms, and close to everything. Staff was friendly. Nice sitting at pool with view of beach. It's a bit pricy but it's comparable when you start upgrading at other hotels to get the same thing.

    5
« Brilliant gulf front hitel »

All rooms overlook the gulf. Ask for a room high up as view can be obscured by palm trees. Good breakfast. Location .. awesome .. beachside ... and a 5-10min walk from bars and eateries and shops in Times Square.food and drink much cheaper than Orlando.

    5
« Continues to offer great room and service in a prime location »

We visit every year and always find the rooms maintained to a high standard, and more importantly very clean. The rooms are comfortable and whilst not large, offer enough space to be perfectly relaxed for up to a week. Service is always great and very friendly. Location is what matters and you are right on the beautiful FM Beach. Hotel has very tidy gardens to relax in the shade if required and the heated pool whilst small is perfect for a dip to chill as required. Additionally you are only 5 minutes walk from the Pier and a number of restaurant options. The pier offers great sunset views. Parking is free during your stay and the breakfast whilst simple in choice is sufficient to start your day. If you are looking for relaxation in a quiet spot right on the beach, yet on 5 mins from a choice of restaurants and shops, its perfect. The huge Miromar Shopping Outlets is only 30 mins drive away, just off the I75 (Exit 123)

« Our home away from home... »

We live only 30 minutes from the Best Western Plus Beach Resort, and as soon as we arrive to this beautiful location we immediately go into ?stay-cation? mode. The picturesque views of the beach from their manicured lawn and lounge area can put a smile on anyone's face. Watching the beautiful sunsets over the ocean while relaxing in the pool cannot be put into words. While the views and location are absolutely amazing, it is the resort and its staff that keeps us coming back. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and immaculate while every person working there is very friendly and always accommodating. Having the beach chairs and umbrella rentals from Holiday Water Sports as well as fun water activity options right on-site is extremely convenient. Their free breakfast is top notch, great coffee and the biscuits and gravy are a fan-favorite for my whole family. Can't say enough good things about this place and the people that make it the best spot to stay on Fort Myers Beach. Already looking forward to our next weekend getaway there. 5-star review for a 5-star resort!!

« Once Again -- Fabulous Stay at Ft. Myers Beach, FL! »

We love Ft. Myers Beach, FL and particularly the best place to stay -- the Best Western Plus Beach Resort! Every room has an incredible view overlooking the Gulf of Mexico with its fluffy white sand and clear blue-green water. And, the Gulf water is warm enough for me to enjoy! The hotel is perfectly maintained, has lovely decor, is spotless indoor and out, provides a nice breakfast every day, has a terrific swimming pool, maintains gorgeous landscaping and provides beach/pool towels. The large area of palm trees and soft green grass provide a shaded place to either play shuffleboard or sit in one of the Adirondack chairs with a book or just being dazed by the beautiful view of the Gulf. Our shelling beach walks were quite successful as well! We just returned home with a box of lovely shells to share with our granddaughters! We will return again to this favorite place next year! We will want to see Coco again also -- 39-year-old parrot who speaks with everyone in the lobby!

« Great Location and wonderful views »

We love this hotel -- feels like home. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Great views from this hotel -- sunsets are amazing. They have a great courtyard with comfortable chairs to enjoy the sunsets or relax anytime of the day. Comfortable King size bed. Like having the refrigerator and kitchen area in the room. Nice hotel breakfast with several options each day. Coco the bird is fun - greets you in the lobby. Location is prefect -- close enough to walk to shopping and to eat but far enough away to relax and enjoy the beautiful views.

    « Incredible location »

Can't say enough about the view from our balcony! The suite is half kitchen and spacious living area with a comfy king size bed. All the furnishings are modern and the room was spotless. Front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. We are here for a week and if the first day is any indication of how good things are I would say we are off to a great vacation ??

« Great Location. Pretty Grounds. Fantastic Staff! »

We tacked 3 days at Fort Myers Beach onto an East Coast 'visiting friends' trip, and are we glad we did! We had no idea this was such a nice area, with a beautifully calm beach on the Gulf Coast. The Best Western is a very good value, with all rooms oceanfront. I cannot say enough about the staff - both their friendliness and their professionalism. I had made a special request, which they went OVERBOARD in accommodating. We had a room on the 4th floor and loved sitting on the balcony for our morning coffee. (The hotel has is 5 stories.) Families with young children were enjoying the ground floor, where the little ones could go right out onto the grass and play. Beach umbrella and chair rentals, plus water sports equipment, are available directly in front of the hotel, and you can easily walk to 'Times Square' - the little enclave with lots of restaurants and shops. The morning breakfast is very good (waffles, eggs, etc.). We hope to come back in the future!

« Nice view from balconies »

It is an older motel that has been refurbished. They did a good job of it. Nice breakfast area. Friendly helpful staff. Clean room. Nice view from balcony. A parrot lives in a cage in the lobby. Nice grassy sitting area outside facing the beach.

    « Wonderful Stay »

We stayed in room 510, room and balcony were great. Rich and Lynn at the front desk were very helpful, all the staff I encountered were very friendly, they seemed to like their job, everyone was all smiles. Breakfast was good, large selection of food to choose from. Location to the peer and time square was perfect distance, enjoyed the night/evening walk back to room after dinner. I have no complaints with this resort. The view and beach another A+.

    5
« Great View, Clean, Friendly Staff »

We had a great experience here. We were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and my husband's birthday. The front desk staff congratulated us and asked how our celebration was going throughout the week. The room was clean and had the best view of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.

    « Avoiding Hurricane Matthew »

We had booked our vacation on the eastern shore, when Hurrican Matthew decided to visit. Three day before arrival, we decided to head to the gulf, and were very glad we did. This hotel was outstanding, and was a great choice. Easy access to the beach, nice rooms, and friendly staff. Walking distance to the shops, and reasonable parking. We had two rooms, with four kids, and everyone had a great time. I would highly reccommend!

    4
« Animal Friendly, Clean and Great Location »

We stayed on the 5th floor. Room 510. Absolutely no issues. Loved the balcony. Nice size - not the typical size. Larger then most. The hotel sits directly on the beach with every room looking over the Gulf of Mexico. The street side is quiet as well. Within walking distance of the small town. About a 1/2 mile. Recommend this hotel, it probably the best one in the area. The small town has some shopping and places to eat. A very relaxing place to get away.

    4
« Great view of Ft. Myers Beach »

Great place to stay. The only downside to this hotel the substantial price of a room due to location of hotel. Close to businesses and restaurants, within short walking distance. On the trolley line, too.

« Location and property is perfect! »

We stayed for 4 nights at the Best Western on Fort Myers Beach and I have to say, our visit was perfect. We flew in to Southwest Regional Airport in Ft Myers and the hotel is about a half hr from the airport. The hotel is directly on the beach with very pretty grounds and was very clean and quiet. The staff (and CoCo the parrot) were always very pleasant and always had a smile and a hello for us. Our room with a king sized bed was spacious, with a kitchenette and refrigerator. The bathroom was also a decent size with a tub/shower. We had a beautiful view of the palm trees, beach, and Gulf of Mexico from our private balcony on the 4th floor!!! They offered breakfast every morning, with hot and cold choices, and it was more than enough to get our day started. Nice clean pool, and gorgeous grounds...palm trees and flowers and access to the beach a few steps from the building. Beach chairs and umbrellas were available to rent from a stand on the beach in front of the property. (You can also rent jet skis and parasailing from the same location) This hotel is in a perfect location too. Just a short walk down the beach and you are at Times Square, a quaint little place with restaurants and bars, ice cream shops, pizza etc. Friendly locals, and friendly travelers too. You can't ask for a better place to stay!! We completely enjoyed our stay and hated to leave to return to work in the big city. Best Western on Fort Myers Beach is our new favorite place, and we honestly can't wait to return!!!

    5
« Prefect Location, great staff, clean rooms »

This is our second stay at this Best Western in Ft Myers Beach, and we plan on returning many times again. We vacation there once/twice a year. Always nice, clean and quiet. Every room has a beach front view. The staff were always smiling and happy, and any questions that we had, they would help us out. We love it here! Can't wait for our next return visit.

« Best hotel on Fort Myers Beach »

After staying at a few of the other big hotels on Fort Myers Beach, this is by far my familie's favorite place to stay. My wife how clean the entire site is and the well shaded grassy lawn that surrounds the property. The kids love the playground, pool, beach, and lawn to play in. I like that the hotel is short walk to all the nightlife, but just far enough away to be i it's own relaxing little world. Also, everyone loves the breakfast. There are so many choices, we eat twice. Once early before paddling/surfing and once after we return. The Key West Express passes by and throws out surfable wakes almost every day. Finally, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

    4
    « Very relaxing location »

I was overall satisfied with the Best Western Fort Myers Beach Resort. Our room had a fully stocked kitchen that was an unexpected bonus. I would recommend to the hotel that the figure out a way to put in a bar and grill for the customers.

    5
« Third time just as good as before »

This was our third visit to this hotel (first in 2009) and the experience was just as good. The hotel is next to the beach and a 5min walk to the Pier and centre. All rooms have a balcony with stunning views overlooking the beach. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed with cooking facilities, Inc microwave and large fridge freezer. Self catering wouldn't be a problem. Breakfasts are good and eating outside is an option. Staff are very friendly. Talked to other guests when we were there and their opinion was the same as ours. We wouldn't stay anywhere else if we were going to Ft Myers Beach. Oh and can't forget to give Coco the parrot a mention.

« Great Vacation at the Best western plus inFtMyers Beach »

My family and I just got back from our first trip to Ft Myers Beach @the Best Western Plus. This hotel is by far one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Upon arrival I noticed how clean the Grounds were, No garbage or debris anywhere. The hotel lobby is very clean and nice. The staff was polite and accommodating. Breakfast consist of Eggs, biscuits. Sausage ham or bacon, you can have yogurt or fresh fruit. They have pastries or English muffins, raisin bread, dry cereal of 3or 4 kinds.Juice is Apple, orange or cranberry-which I like.Coffee is 24/7. Some reviews said about how small the breakfast area is, Remember it's a hotel -NOT a catering hall. You can sit outside at one of there tables and look out at the Gulf of Mexico and watch the boats, and Pelicans go by. You can rent beach chairs from the guy who runs the jet skis and he can help you with making reservations for Dolphin tour, Parasailing-he's right on the beach. I suggest to get a room facing the gulf-you won't be disappointed. They do have a cottage that runs about 459.00 per night, I believe it's two bedrooms- in case you need more space. I recommend you walk down to Time Square, they have Bar restaurants, and a Pizzeria, Ice cream Parlor-There are other restaurants on San Carlos Blvd,The hotel has a salt water pool-exceptionally clean. You can get pool towels located in the Lobby, right next to the Cutest bird in the world Coco-! This hotel is only 30 minutes from South west Florida international airport. The pic-are acccurate, and I will add mine. Will definitely go back!

    « A great place to stay! »

My wife and I stayed here 6 nights. All our experiences were positive. Notable pluses: Rooms have great balconies and excellent kitchens. The maid staff is very friendly and does a super job. Morning breakfasts are well prepared and varied. They have very nice people at the front desk and working everywhere on maintaining the landscape, pool and other facilities. It's located very close to the "action", restaurants, fishing pier, etc. And you'll fall in love with "Coco" their talkative parrot. What a cutie!. This was our third stay here (others in 2009 and 2011). We think this hotel is wonderful.

    « Little Hidden Gem »

As a business traveler, I usually stay at Hilton/Marriott hotels, This Best Western Resort Plus Resort was without exception. The rooms were very clean and spacious located on the beach. The beach view was spectacular with a large balcony. Estero Island is beautiful and quiet, no crowds. Great for a private getaway and a hidden gem located on the Gulf Beaches. SHHHHH!!!

    « CUSTOMER SERVICE #1 »

From the moment we walked in the door we had the best customer service experience we ever had at any other hotel. Breakfast staff, housekeeping, and front desk were great. My special thanks to Rich at the front desk. I needed some medical attention and he gave me directions to the nearest emergency facility including the fastest route. He also followed up with my health concerns every time we came in contact. It's really great to have a staff that puts the visitor's first.

« Best hotel on Ft. Myers Beach »

This has to be the cleanest, most well staffed hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel is positioned perfectly on the beach and just a short walk to all of the entertainment offered in Times Square. Great value also.

« Great place to get away »

This Best western resort has it going on. Clean grounds, great pool, right on the beach, and all rooms ocean view. The free breakfast is a great way to start your day. When you are there say hello to COCO the resident parrot.

    « Beautiful location »

This is a 5 star hotel with sweet amenities and a caring staff! Beautiful sunsets on a beautiful beach! Close to restaurants and nightlife without being on top of it. All within walking distance. Love walking the beautiful beach.

    « Beach Weekend »

An amazing place. Every room faced the Gulf water right on the expansive beach. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had an excellent weekend.

    « Good and Bad »

We were happy that this hotel has all rooms facing the ocean. The view was nice, but a bit distant though from the ocean. The small rooms have been updated, however, there is a very strong musty/mildew smell- and not just in our room. Friends staying with us had the same issue. The breakfast was good, and well maintained. The pool was clean, and we enjoyed it until a group of people- who did not appear to be staying at the hotel- decided to have a party. Glass bottles of beer were lined up along the side of the pool, and their loud obnoxious rude behavior continued until the pool shut down at dusk. I don't understand why the hotel allowed this to go on for 2 hours. For the price- about $200 a night, I would expect far better. We have visited Fort Myers Beach many times, and probably would not stay at this hotel again.

    « Wonderful Beach hotel »

First time at Best WESTERN HOTEL. Great location, Hotel was so clean. Staff fantastic. Upgraded us and was always quick to help us with requests. Rollaway bed, extra towels, blankets etc. Free breakfast great. Newspapers free. Air conditioner blows loudly but got use to it. Nice clean pool and of course the beautiful beach. Close enough to walk into town for dinner. Will definitely return.

« EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY IN FORT MEYERS BEACH »

My family has stayed here many times in the past years. It is always exceptionally clean, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is hot, fresh and tasty with plenty of choices. We can even bring our dog who loves the beach and being able to swim in the ocean with us. The location is within walking distance to the shops and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet and comfortable. You will not go wrong choosing this as your destination.

« Excellent location by the beach, quiet aera »

Stayed in late 2015 with my wife at this hotel. We found the location to be very good by the beach, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants in Fort Myers Beach, so no parking nightmare to find a spot. Beach is nice, you can also walk to the Pier. Quiet aera of Ft Myers otherwise it can be packed and noisy at night. Room was on 3rd floor (not on the top as expected), with a good king bed. Not a big room but ok for us 2. The bathroom was good too and there was a kitchen with big fridge to store all your drinks and other stuffs. The breakfast room was small and with a lot of people so we mostly ended up in the garden or in our balcony. Free parking and free wifi also provided. If the price is right (which is usually high at Christmas time), we will be back as we really liked the pool aera and the beach aera. Perfect for beach vacation.

« Older property, but prime beachfront location »

All oceanfront rooms in this older, but fairly well kept property. Highlight is the beautiful beachfront with very good shelling (better than Captiva/Sanibel) but bring aqua socks as you can cut your feet very easily from the broken shells. Room was on the small side and air conditioning unit was very loud, but TV had a neat low germ remote control. Towels were very soft, but only three were supplied for a family of four, but shower pressure was very good. Internet was very slow, but better in the lobby. Breakfast area was small, but plenty of seating could be found outside. Very good hot beverage dispenser which could be accessed 24 hours a day which included cafe latte, espresso, cappuccino, coffee and decaf. Lobby had a parrot named Coco which children always enjoyed. Rich at the front desk was very nice and very helpful. Tip: numerous sand dollars can be found in the water right in front of the property.

    « Can't Wait to Go Back! »

The Best Western is one the cleanest, customer friendly, fun hotels we have ever stayed at. The continental breakfast that was included with the price was delicious and fresh each day. There are laundry facilities available, swings, sand toys, and a clean pool on grounds and it sits right on the ocean. What more could you ask for.

For the second time this year we stayed at this BW, fabulous as always, the room was great very clean, we needed to ask for more toiletries because there were not enough, but everyone is extremely nice and accommodating. We will come back for sure. Location is fantastic, beach right there, as well as water sports. Breakfast can be improved, but fine for two days.

this hotel is awesome, the bed and pillows are so comfortable, the rooms are clean, each room looks over the gulf, the staff is great, the breakfast is great, walking distance to downtown beach area, you can relax at the beach or at the pool,

I love this hotel!! Love the fact that it's right on the beach, walk out the back door and your toes are in the sand. Glad that their breakfast hours are longer then when I was there before. It's just a couple minutes to walk to the boardwalk and all the shops. ITS BEAUTIFUL!!

« Beautiful View functional room »

Stayed here during a visit to see family. We mistakenly booked a handicapped accessible room The room was clean and had a kitchenette. The note in the dish closet while thankfully honest left us wishing for paper cups ( the note stated that dishware is cleaned but not to the restaurant or food service standards as set forth by State of Florida Balcony looked out into gulf and was beautiful. The staff is the great part of this hotel as it seems they have such repeat business that they know families personally Coco the Amazon parrot makes for a great time in the busy breakfast areas We will return

« Wonderful Long Weekend Getaway »

My husband and I take a long weekend getaway each August for our anniversary. We live in Naples, Fl but take in state trips to various parts of Florida. We were very pleased with our experience at the Best Western on Ft. Myers Beach. It was our first time staying at a Best Western and will be back.

« Quite hotel excellet view »

Very nice hotel, excellent view, excellent area, a walk away from all the restaurants at the pier, live music at night, super nice. Try to ask for a room above 2nd floor, otherwise you hear all the people at the pool. The free breakfast is very complete try to go early around 9 a good hour, not too full, they refill very often the trays, so you will be satisfied. Beach is super quiet to relax. The hotel do not offer chairs and umbrellas, so you have to purchase at the beach, I think the cost was around $25 for a full day until 6pm or you can take your own of course, the hotel do provide towels for the beach. Me and my partner like very much we are returning this year too :-)

    « Great stay/Great Place »

We visited in April, the weather was gorgeous and the accommodations were great. The room was on the ground floor so it was a bit stuffy, but you can't beat walking straight out to the beach. We stayed in a suite with separate living/ bedroom areas and the space was just enough. We had 4 people two adults two teens. We had an issue with the TV, we called the front desk, they sent someone right away and problem was resolved. The breakfast that was served daily was a treat, more then adequate, could not have done any better going out. Hotel was located walking distance from so many shops and restaurants and parasailing was available right outside the hotel. Beach was clean. Easy to make day trips to Sanibel and Captiva for great shelling. Wallmart was also close so purchasing a cheap beach chair instead of paying daily rates for chairs was worth it for us. We would definitely return.

    « Wi-Fi Nightmare »

The hotel was generally great - clean, nice, modern rooms, kind staff, clean hotel, and good hot breakfast. But if you have a need for Wi-Fi, be prepared to be disappointed. They are having obvious issues around the rooms, as well as in the common area (pool, lawn, etc.) and the Wi-Fi works for no more than 5 minutes at a time. My Sprint service was sketchy, at best, so not having Wi-Fi to fall back on was very disappointing. I spoke with the hotel management and they assured me "everything was fine", but, I have a technological background and know for a fact they are having serious repeater issues across the hotel. With that said...... the manager knocked off at entire night's charge due to the inconvenience, so, this certainly went a long way towards making up for the issue. The beach front was awesome, clean, and not overly crowded. I'd definitely stay again if visiting Fort Myers Beach in the future!

    « Best weekend vacation! »

We went for my birthday and it was perfect. We got there early, no problem, our room was ready. They had a discounted price, it was automatically reduced from our bill. Jeff was more then helpful with all our questions. The room was nice and clean, the a/c was awesome-really cold-we Floridians like our room extra cold at night! There was a big fridge and a kichenette in the room. The beds were ok, but we should have requested a king room. The toiletries were very good, loved them so much took leftovers home. Breakfast was ... mediocre, but not any worse than others. The view was great, the beach was nice, the pool was warm ... can you ask for more? Well, yes, the people were the nicest. On checkout we had Rich, and he explained the bill, as well as the pet policy-we want to go back with out dogs nex time! All and all, the best mini-vacation in a long time! Totally recomend this hotel!

« Great place to relax »

We have stayed here for many years. Always a great experience. Accommodations are very clean and comfortable. Best breakfast of any place I have stayed. Only a few steps from the water. Pool and recreational area are so clean and organized. We relaxed under the palm trees for hours. The rooms have balconies facing the gulf. What a great place to stay. Can't wait till the next time.

« Another great time at the Best Western Plus »

Have stayed here several times in the past, the last time about 9 years ago. They have remodeled since then but it has always been a nice relaxing place to spend a long weekend. The staff is very friendly, they allow small dogs, the real grass backyard is fun to walk on, the landscaping is beautiful, the sand is never hot, the free breakfast is more than adequate, everything is well maintained and the beds are comfortable. The location is perfect and we greatly enjoyed our stay.

« trip advisor reviews are accurate...exc value + experience »

I did a lot of browsing looking for a place to stay on the Gulf. I liked what I read and saw about this resort. For the price, I was very satisfied. I wouldn't call it a true resort but the staff was extremely accommodating, the sand wqs fairy white, and breakfast was above average. Hotel staff gave us a 5th floor room upon request so trees wouldn't block view of the water. Beach property provides a nice grass area shaded by beautiful palm trees. Kitchenette was convenient and balcony pleasant. On a slighty neg side...water was brownish (not the clear water is was expecting) but proximity to wind, palm trees and sand and the touristy area down by the pier was a plus. Pool was extremely warm...too warm. Road construction is on going in Ft Myers Beach which effects the appearance a bit but traffic flowed fine.

    « Great location »

This hotel is in the perfect location, walking distance to all the shops & restaurants. I booked a suite which has 2x King beds and a kitchen/lounge the room is a great size with a balcony, our room is 219, on the second floor but it's one of the end rooms, so doesn't overlook the pool , so is very quiet. Will definitely stay here again. I've included a view from our balcony.

« Excellent location and service »

    « Piece of Paradise »

As a family of 6 we booked their 2 bed/2 bath suite on the 3rd floor. Came with full kitchen, lounge area and an oversized balcony overlooking white sand beaches and the ocean. A piece of paradise. It has a nice big pool and well tended gardens with seating. For me the only downside if there was one was the "hot breakfast" that was included in our stay. We didn't even bother with it on day 2. Apart from that its a great hotel in a fabulous location.

    « Ice Breaker »

Stayed here with family for two nights after flying from UK to Miami en-route to our 14 night break in Disney. It was nothing short of perfect. The hotel is really nice and in one of the best locations for people want to spend time on the beach and dine out. Many beach sports and rentals on offer and the lad Gary who manages the beach rentals was great. Kids done jet skiing and paddle boarding for first time and he explained things very well. Breakfast and staff at the hotel also great and would have no hesitation coming back for a longer stay.

    « Fly Drive Holiday »

Located on the beach at Fort Myres if offered the best for beach location and nr by resurants. The hotel offered ample free parking and never had any issues parking at anytime. The reception area was very clean with welcoming staff. The room was on the third floor with a balcony overlooking the Gulf with stunning views. The room was clean with clean bedding and towels 0nly issue was that the shower was over the bath and the bathroom was a little small the room also had cooking facillities with electric hob and microwave so if you were staying on budget or preferred to keep the cost by cooking then no problem,we had breakfast included which was very congested in the mornings but I suppose everyone coped. The hotel had no resturant for dinner. The pool was a aduquate size but on occations was a little congested but you would expect that. The hotel had a lawn area at beach side with shade wich was relaxing and needless to say a few strides away from white sands for walking to the pier etc. Would be stay at the Best Western Plus ? yes if we were returning to Fort Myres for sure.

« Excellent Hotel for the Price »

Overall the Room was very nice. The Hotel Lobby and all areas of Hotel were clean and very nice. Our room had a funky smell in it like if it was mildew and my sisters room smelled a little moisture as well, but we lit some candles and then it was fine. It was very comfortable and the staff was great. The only thing we did not like was that the Pool would close very early and the gentleman that attends the pool kicked everyone out of the pool area when people were enjoying the sunset by lounging on the pools. There is not much to do on the premises and the pool was a nice relaxing feature but as soon as the sun started going down he kicked everyone out. The pool should remain open a little longer. It is heated for a reason and it would have been nice to relax in the pool a little longer. Otherwise the Hotel is a perfect place for a family get together, great price, nice safe environment and rooms are nice. and best of all the AC blows is amazingly cold which was a plus. No problems with it. We would definitely stay again.

    « Good Hotel »

The hotel room had a great view of the beach. The hotel was right in front of the beach and was very close to downtown. The service was very good and nice. However, the air conditioner made very loud noses which was annoying at times.

« Nice hotel at the beach »

All hotel rooms has a lovely view of the beach and a nice garden to have breakfast in. The hotel is clean and friendly staff, but the rooms would be better with an update on the bathrooms. The aircondition is very loud both o the balcony and inside the rooms. Big rooms and we where 5 people in the room and that was no problem, but there where only two chairs on the balcony. Would be nice with 4 chairs and a bigger table on the balcony. Good american breakfast with bacon and scramle eggs some days. If we go back to Fort Myers Beach we will book this hotel again

« Fun Hotel, Great Value »

This was a mini reunion with family and we chose the hotel because of the ratings here and also the friendliness of the staff when we called. They assured us we would be able to have rooms next to our family however when we checked in they said they could not accommodate that. I know a lot of hotels say they can't promise anything but that is an important thing when you haven't seen family in a year or more. Other than that, this hotel is very clean, great staff, very comfortable and the beach was very clean and pretty. Coco, the talking parrot, was an awesome addition to the experience. We loved talking to him in the morning. The free breakfast was great. If you don't need any special room accommodations this is a great choice if you visit Ft. Myers.

Great hotel, rooms were clean and people were awesome. The room with a view part was a little deceiving because we had huge palm trees in the way. We could see the beach on the left and on the right & thru the trees I guess but it was obstructed. Visit heavenly biscuits!

We went to this hotel for a weekend after our Son's graduation and this place was just BEAUTIFUL!!! since the moment we walked in the lobby we were able to see the beach , white sand and crystal water. Hotel room was comfortable and we had balcony with ocean view....in one word GORGEOUS place and breakfast buffet just perfect!! Loca attractions are just minutes way from the hotel, we decided just to walk at night to grab pizza at this restaurant and ice cream before heading back to the hotel...can't wait to go back!!

    « Very enjoyable trip »

This was our first visit to Florida's southwest coast so we were excited to be going somewhere new, but a bit apprehensive as we weren't exactly sure what to expect. We were looking for a slower paced trip and that's exactly what it turned out to be. Best Western Plus Beach Resort was great! Everything looked as advertised on the internet. We had a friendly greeting upon arrival and departure. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. Our room was on the third floor overlooking palms and the beach. The room was very clean and had everything we needed including a small kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and we slept well without interruption from outside noise. The free breakfast was beneficial as you didn't have to worry about buying groceries or going out each morning. Breakfast items included waffles, bagels, an assortment of pastries, cereals both hot and cold, yogurt, and every day they had eggs. They alternated bacon and sausage and a different bread which was either a small croissant or biscuits with gravy. A variety of juices were offered, and probably milk, but I didn't check because I'm lactose intolerant. The coffee machine was spectacular! You could choose from lattes, cappuccinos, espresso or regular coffee and the coffee was delicious. I am picky about coffee as I don't like a strong, acidic aftertaste, but this coffee was smooth. Also, coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day. The hotel had adequate parking, a nice pool with plenty of lounge chairs, and is right on the beach. I noted this hotel is pet friendly, and was a bit apprehensive that it may be a problem, but the few animals we encountered were all well behaved. The location of the hotel is good in that it is close to, but not right on top of, restaurants and shopping. It's an easy walk from the hotel if you are up to it. The only negative we encountered was that once I was in the restroom with an employee that worked in the breakfast area and I was shocked that she left the restroom without washing her hands. I must say I was appalled that this person was working with food, but that type of thing can happen at any hotel and you would never know unless you actually witnessed it. We enjoyed the slowed pace of Ft. Myers Beach during July and would definitely stay at this hotel when we visit again.

    5
    « Very Relaxing »

All the employees are very helpful and always smiling, they are pleasant and eager to help with any concerns you may have, they made staying in this Hotel relaxing and enjoyable, and for that I thank them! If you don't enjoy yourself you are just hard to please!

We have visited this wonderful hotel since 1990 and have yet to be disappointed. The staff is one of the friendliest anywhere and will go out of their way to make your stay as perfect as possible. The close location to Time Square is a bonus as it is just a short walk uptown. Each room faces the Gulf and the sunsets are nothing short of fabulous! This is a treasure of a hotel. Check out their website for some super photos of the property.

    « Nice hotel »

I like this hotel, because all the rooms are beachfront and also you can take your pet with you. The only thing that I didn't like was the small area that they have for breakfast, is so crowded. Otherwise is a nice environment with nice people working there.

    « Beautiful wedding location »

We read a review of this hotel last year where a couple eloped and were married on the beach outside the Best Western Plus. We decided that would be ideal for us! We phoned Rich at reception who helped us organise everything, and put us in touch with Betty, an officiator. Everything was perect, right down to the beautiful towel swans that Chelley, the room maid, had arranged for us, red carnations and candles and a bottle of champagne our friends had ordered for us sitting waiting on ice. We had the most amazing ceremony on the beach, followed by food and drinks in a local bar. The hotel staff were amazing, friendly, and very helpful. The room was perfect, clean and spacious, and very cool with the A/C on at night. We can't thank Rich and the staff enough for making our stay and wedding so special, We would recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to be back soon.

« Everything you need for a Super relaxing Getaway »

This Best Western is everything thT it says; Awesome on all levels, some places show pictures of what you will be getting until you get there, and it is nothing like the pictures. This Best Western is everything it shows you and more. We walked by a few places we saw online, and they were stink holes, small run down not on beach. We had a room on the top floor at the corner. We could wake up early, go on the balcony and watch the Sun rise on one side and then turn around and watch the moon set on the other. In the evening we would watch the sun set and the moon rise. You cannot get that view in the city, Unbelievable and cost friendly for the price. Breakfast in the morning was like going to high end all U can each buffet, just about everything you need to get your day started right, ONLY at the Best Western. Thank you Mr. Tim for making our 10 yr Anniversary a very memorable one. Your staff were all pleasant and had an answer for all question, there recommendations were all on point. No need for a car, as you can contact hotel and they put us in touch with a driver, who picked us up in a Limosine (felt like superstars) the driver even stopped at the grocery store for necessities (Beer). The driver even said if he had known he would have had cold beer waiting in limo. Everything is in walking distance, not very for away, but in a quite area not noisy, quite and peaceful Would recommend to everyone looking for something close to beach, and do not have to cross street and worry about cars flying by. Will see you in fall are next year. Thanks again

« Amazing Hidden Gem in Fort Myers Beach »

My husband and I are from Washington, DC area and we decided to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary at Florida's Gulf Coast and we discovered a hidden gem with the Best Western Beach Plus Resort on Fort Myers Beach. We ended up staying here and had one of the most amazing vacation experiences of our lives! The hotel was newly renovated, clean and located directly on the beach! Every morning there was a fresh hot breakfast (not just the continental kind- but hot eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit and juice among other delicious breakfast items). We enjoyed playing shuffleboard on the property! Coco the talking bird greeted us every morning! The staff was excellent, catering to our every need and offering great suggestions to local restaurants, bars and shopping. An added bonus is that this hotel is located about a block and a half away from "downtown" Fort Myers Beach Town Square. The hotel itself, again,is located directly on the beach. Each room has an oceanfront view. There is also a heated pool onsite, which is an added bonus. Plus, just steps from the hotel on the beach is Holiday Rentals: They offer umbrella & chairs services including all the water sports you can imagine: Jet Skis, Banana Boats, Paddle Boarding, Aqua Cycles,Parasailing, etc... In addition, the front desk staff is always more then happy to let you know about any "Pirate" Cruises & "Sunset" cruises as well as other activities offered near by the Best Western Beach Plus Resort. I would highly recommend staying at this nice, clean hotel and we like to think of it as our home away from home. In fact, we already have our reservations booked for next year to return to this fantastic hotel resort oasis on the beach!

    « Annual 4th of July Visit »

We love this hotel, the staff are very friendly, the rooms are great. The location is fantastic, the reason it's not getting a poor rating is because of the pet policy. There are dogs EVERYWHERE! I'm not a dog hater. This was ridiculous. Dogs were at breakfast, they were in the elevators, on balconies, there was constant barking, inside and out. The owners let the dogs pee/poop outside without cleaning it up. I watched as one owner allowed her dog to pee on another guests beach chair! The dogs were even swimming in the POOL!!!! When I checked out I told the young lady at the front desk how disappointed I was and her response was if they didn't accept pets they would lose business. Well, she's right they are losing business, mine. We'll be staying down the street next year.

    « Nice Resort Hotel »

We found this hotel after quite an extensive search of places in the Ft. Myers Beach area. We thought the room rate was great especially since the included breakfast beats any other breakfast out there. The coffee/cappuccino machine was available 24/7 and was top of the line. We loved being so close to walk to Times Square and restaurants. Would have given Excellent if we had same type of room a few floors up and if Wi-Fi was good.

    « A+ Again The Second Time »

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Beach Resort during the week of June 13th for three nights. This was our second time here. I gave it an A+ the last time we stayed and I have to say A+ again. Who needs a fancy resort when you have it all here. A+ qualities: friendly helpful staff, clean, beach view, private balconies, pet friendly, free buffet breakfast, sparkling pool, quiet and relaxing private beach, short walk to pier, shops and dining. Did I mention free parking and no hidden fees that some fancy resorts charge. This will always be our resort to go to when we want a get away close to home.

Very nice hotel, relaxing yet close to the hustle down by the peer but far enough to feel like you are away from it all too. We recommend the wave runner dolphin tour which you can sign up for right out front of the hotel on the beach at holiday sports. Great time and highlight of the vaca.

« #1 choice for Ft. Myers Beach »

This Best Western is perfect. Location is perfect. Hotel is remodeled and always pristine clean. Staff is great. Been staying here for 10 years every summer and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Every room has a great view and is spacious. Love the breakfast which is included. Everyone can get breakfast when they're ready and no need to rush out to a restaurant and wait in line.

I stayed on the top floor over looking the sea cracking view . Very clean room and the staff are very good . I had to Change the day I was meant to stay but it was no trouble to change the date . Hotel is at one end of the beach but plenty of busses or taxis about if you don't like walking .

« Nice hotel, family friendly and lots of dogs »

Nice hotel and good location on the beach but too many dogs. We didn't hear the dogs but they were all over the common grounds and the beach, plus elevators. If you don't have allergies I would recommend this hotel. Everyone is very friendly and it is nicely maintained. We did enjoy walking a couple of blocks along the beach to the Main Street with shops and restaurants.

    « Best Trip Ever »

We will book here again. Everything was just perfect! We wanted to be on the beach in a nice hotel and Best Western delivered!! They had a lot to offer from renting jet skis to the lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The breakfast spread was incredible. The hotel was spot less! The staff was great.

    « Best hotel room! »

Stayed in room 106 which was 20 steps to beach sand - the room and view was glorious and created a beautiful Fathers Day memory for my family. Would love to live in the hotel room forever! Staff was great and the continental breakfast was the best I ever had. Had eggs, sausage, biscuits, and lots of other choices. Beach was lovely! Sunset fabulous.

Wonderful hotel in Ft. Myers Beach. Walking distance to the shops. Rental umbrellas, jet skis, etc., right out front of the property. Large area to sit on the grass in the shade if you are not a sun lover. Allows pets! Overall great hotel!

    « Beach view »

The rooms were really small but clean & comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was included & it was really good. We had an ocean front room but of course a big old palm tree blocked our view of the water. There was only 1 elevator working & thank goodness it was down at the end where we were staying. The elevators were hot & had no air conditioning. The lights in the hallways at night were very dim & I wouldn't want to be in the hallway by myself. The elevator that was not working was out of order the whole week that we were there. The air conditioning was right by the bed & it blew air in my face all night long. It was either hot or chilly in the room. We could never get a happy medium. I would stay here again just because I liked that we could go thru the lobby & walk right out on the beach. They rented umbrellas & chairs on the beach.

« Nice stay - good for families »

This hotel has a lot to offer. The view is really nice - though try to the upper floors if you want a less obstructed view of the Gulph. We had a room on the second floor and our view of the Gulph was somewhat blocked by palm tress, but we didn't mind as they were pretty as well. There was also a family reunion at the hotel so they mainly congregated in the outside courtyard area and we could hear a great deal of their chatter. It was nice that they were having a great time - just wish we were a bit higher and away from the crowd. There also were a great deal of children - it is ideal for families as you are right on the beach, easy access to the pool and lots for kids to do - there was even a small swing set on the grounds. However, we were a couple that left our kids at home to get away and just didn't anticipate the business of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was nice but seating was limited inside and the line took a good bit to get through. The room was lovely. It had a nice kitchen area with fridge and microwave. The view was also nice. The bed was good but the pillow protectors were a bit on the loud side and made a good deal of noise as you moved around.... The best thing about this hotel though is the staff. They were extremely friendly and very helpful! We would stay here again if we are bringing our kids.... but would probably look elsewhere if getting away as a couple. This is by no means the fault of the hotel.... just could have been the timing of when we went.

    « Great stay! »

Hotel is great - fantastic location, decent breakfast. Spent the night at this hotel last weekend and had a room on the first floor - right outside of the pool. (Room 105) Absolutely no view of the beach and sitting outside wasn't really an option considering there was 40+ people in the pool. The noise level was annoying, but nothing overwhelming. With that being said, the location is close and convenient to Times Square. Breakfast had several options (most of the staples - meat, eggs, waffles, yogurt, etc). The A/C in our room was moody, I mentioned it to the staff at checkout. Would definitely stay here again though.

« My recent stay - exceptional service »

I recently stayed at the Best Western for 2 nights while i was in the Fort Myers area. It is a great facility but I was really impressed with the staff. I received a call that I left a cord to my laptop computer in the room when I left and they tacked me down and had it returned to me. Thank you to all the great staff at the Best Western in Ft. Myers.

« Way to kick off the summer! »

This hotel is a nice choice for families staying at the beach in Ft. Myers. It is away from the hustle and bustle , but close enough to walk if you wanted to. Rooms were a little small, but for a weekend were fine. Only one pool, which was super crowded, and no hot tub. There are a few outside tables for picnics and some swings. All rooms are ocean front with a balcony or porch if on 1st floor. 2 chairs and a small table. We got one on the end, which was perfect. It had a kitchen with full fridge, stove, sink, dishes, playes, utensils, and whatever you need. Plenty of 7 11s around. Stay includes breakfast, which was the best we've had at similar venues like Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Country Inn and Suites, etc. Server was very friendly and pleasant. There is a parrot in lobby, and the kids loved that. Best of all, they had coffee, espresso, cappuccino and cafe latte available 24 hrs. For our family, that was a life saver. Floors are tile. There is a broom and dustpan to take care of sand. We also put a towel by the front door. Air wasn't working, but maintenance came immediately and fixed it. Got a roll away, because fold out couch only fit one. You can rent 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella for less than $30, 9-5. Also, paddleboard, catamaran, and jet ski rentals right there. Had to empty our own trash, which was weird, but overall a great stay.

« Great location right on the beach »

We have stayed at this property before and chose it again for its location right on the beach. Nearby shops and restaurants are an easy walk and quite good. Although pricey it is not out of line with others in the area.

« Trip to the beach »

We recently spent a few nights at the Best Western Plus and we were very impressed. Our room was beach front with a balcony. We had a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave and small bar area. The beach was a short walk away. The Times Square area was within walking distance for shops and restaurants. Nice breakfast included with room. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

    « EXCELLENT »

I truly enjoyed my stay in this hotel. My family as well and they are picky.I loved the service; the staff went out of their way to get us pull out beds, when we needed the extra bed. The view from our room was right out to the ocean. At night it was so relaxing. Also, was very centric, and a short walk to the boardwalk, some restaurants and entertainment. We enjoyed the watersports that were available. Overall this place was great! I cant wait to come back.

We stayed here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it!! The room was very modern and right on the beach. They had a wonderful complementary breakfast bar which is included in the room fee! We were very happy with the place. We walked right down the beach to times square where there was a band playing and lots of restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. I would recomend this place highly!!!

    « Excellent all around. »

I stayed with my girlfriend for 4 nights during this past Memorial Day Weekend. The room had ample space and had an AMAZING view of the beach. My understanding is that every room is oceanfront. The pool was relatively small for the size of the hotel but, similarly, offered a great view of the water. The pool is also heated, which is a plus for people looking to travel during the colder Florida months. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, and the resort was extremely clean. As for the beach, it was nice. The sand was pretty smooth and white and the water was clean. Even during Memorial Day weekend, the area of the beach in front of the hotel wasn't crowded at all. Feel free to bring your own beach chairs, as we did; otherwise, there are beach chairs (and umbrellas) that one can rent for the day. There's a breakfast that's included and is great--lots of choices. For dinner, we mostly walked over to Times Square, which is about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. I'd just note that restaurants and bars do close early (compared to, say, Miami or New York, where I split most of my time), so go out for dinner and/or drinks earlish. We did the jet skit dolphin tour (leaves from Pinkshell) and a sunset cruise while we were there, and they were both a lot of fun. All around, our stay was wonderful. We will definitely go back.

Met every single expectation and exceeded most. A little more expensive but worth every penny! Beach front was great and the pool was a nice little area to relax. It was also nice to have access to chairs/umbrellas for rent right outside AND the ability to rent jet skis. Very short walk from the hotel to the main area, which makes it easy for going and wandering home at night. Very safe as well.

« great place to stay »

this place was the best manicured hotel on the beach with beautiful soft white sand and a clear shallow ocean front that you could go out a 100 yards and be up to your shoulders. The waves were very gentle and there were only small shells on this beach that were easy to avoid with your feet.

    « Fantastic, simply wonderful »

We moved from the Outrigger to The Best Western Plus Beach Resort after 24 hours of arriving in Ft Myers and what a difference! The receptionist, Joy, could not have been more helpful and kind in finding us a lovely room with a wonderful view of the Gulf of Mexico. Clean, tidy, spacious, free parking, beach towels, great breakfast, pool and less than 100 yards from the hotel gardens to the lonely warm sea! I would recommend this place to anyone, that's how happy both myself and my wife were with this place. Plus, it's close to the pier and the resort centre too!

Pros: Clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet & efficient ac, free breakfast that's really good, views, great beach, beautiful grounds, super friendly & professional staff. Less than 1/2 mile to shops and restaurants. Best part, I could bring my small dog. Did I mention it's clean? I'm picky and this is super clean and nice. Cons: There are none. Stop looking and book a room already.

« Absolute best place to stay in Ft Myers Beach...shhh..it's a secret! »

I have to rave about this hotel, even tho I hate to give away the location of the best place to stay in Ft Myers Beach! This was our second stay at the Best Western Beach Resort. We were here 5 years ago and it was so perfect we decided to break our rule of not staying in the same place twice ( there are so many wonderful places to visit!) The hotel has a great free breakfast spread in the lobby every morning, just steps from the beach. Actually, there are no "steps" at all which makes it extra friendly for those who have ambulatory problems. The beach is private, and there are chairs and umbrellas available to rent. Between the beach and the hotel is a very nice shaded Grassy area complete with chairs, a swing set, a grill and a shuffleboard court. Great place to sit in the evening and watch the sunset. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms very comfortable, each with a private balcony. You can't find a better place to stay. Enjoy!

« Great Location, Great Service! »

Love this hotel! My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in room 415. Awesome view of the ocean!! Breakfast in the lobby each morning had plenty of options to choose from and was very good. This hotel is a great location, within walking distance to just about anything. Hotel rooms were promptly cleaned after we left each morning. There are beach chairs/umbrellas available to rent each day, for about $20 - but we just took towels out and laid on those in the sand. The beach felt nice and private/quieter than other resorts. We noticed there was someone watching the parking lot every day, which was nice. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with arrival and checkout. Will definitely be back again on our next visit to Fort Myers Beach!

« Nice and comfortable hotel »

The best thing about this hotel is that it's right by the beach and all the rooms are ocean view. Plus you get nice free breakfast. However, the hotel doesn't have a bar and that was cons for us. Also, the shezlongs at the beach are not free (we thought they are free since they were in the pictures of the hotel). You have to pay $28 to rent them for a day. Other than that everything was good.

« Week on the beach »

This is a place we have stayed many times in the past. If you are going to a beach this is the place to go. The resort is right on the beach and all rooms face the ocean. Palm trees provide a lot of shade for the grassy areas with lawn chairs. The pool always feels great and refreshing. Housekeeping kept us supplied in an abundance of towels which we appreciated very much. I love the tiled floors because of all the water and sand. All the rooms have kitchenettes. The breakfast was excellent and was changed daily for the hot food. Some of the hot items were a variety of eggs, sausages (link and patties), potatoes, biscuits, gravy, waffles, and bacon. We booked late so we didn't get the two bedroom we really wanted. Also a little miscommunication on the room we booked. Wasn't the same as described on the phone, but again, we did book late. I normally book at least 6 months in advance and would suggest that depending on what you want, the length of your stay, and time of the year. Cannot beat this resort for a wonderful beach experience. We will be back, probably next year.

The Best Western Plus Beach Resort is a great place to stay. I have spent vacations here with my mom. My aunt and cousin goes here. And now I have friends going with me. « Slice of Paradise »

This property is exceptionally clean and in a fantastic location! Our 5th floor standard room was very tidy and well-appointed for two people. The balcony was a nice size with two chairs and small table to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Parties with more than two people may want to consider a suite. The common areas inside and out were also very clean and attended to by staff throughout the day. There are plenty of nice sitting areas with sun and shade to enjoy the surroundings. The expanded continental breakfast was an A+ with a wide variety of simple breakfast foods to choose from. All items were tasty and at appropriate temperature and well-stocked throughout breakfast service. The staff in this area did a phenomenal job! FYI, the coffee machine is available for use 24/7. The pool deck and pool are basic but more than adequate and provides a beautiful view of the beach. Water temperature was on the warm side but still refreshing. Again, cleanliness was the reoccurring theme. The beach itself is the cleanest Florida beach I have seen. White sugary sand that never burned the feet. It was combed every morning and excellent for finding beautiful, albeit small, shells. The wildlife was ample and we even saw dolphins two days when there was light boat traffic. The water itself seemed murky a couple of days and seaweed washed ashore but that is Mother Nature's doing. If you arrive by car, bring along your beach chairs. We rented chairs and umbrella from the on-site vendor and they were comfortable. Note to sun worshippers: the chairs do not fully recline. However, chaise style loungers are available for rent for a slight additional charge. Many reviewers note that there is no on-site restaurant or bar. I decided to view this as a plus as it keeps non-guests from visiting the property. There is plenty to choose from at Times Square which is a five minute walk from the hotel. The clientele was a nice mix of all family types and the mood was relaxed and laid-back. All staff that I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Their bosses should be proud! I am already looking forward to planning a return visit!

    « Perfect Location & Experience »

Once again, Tripadvisor steered me to a perfect vacation location. I won't lie, I was a bit nervous about what to expect from a *Best Western*, but this location is certainly a PLUS. We stayed in room 101, a junior suite with two full-size beds on the end of the first floor. We were able to walk right out our door and onto the gorgeous white beach. We walked about a mile each direction down the shoreline, and we decicded that the section of the beach at this hotel is the best section. As we walked north, there was a lot more seaweed on the shore ... and south, a lot more people. We had the perfect mix of beauty and peacefulness. It was so nice to have our own chairs and umbrella (and be able to charge them to our room) Also, the location of this resort in Forty Myers Beach itself is perfection ... it is just far enough off the main strip to be quiet, but close enough to walk to dinner every night. Also, access to leave the island to go on day trips to Fort Myers, Sanibel or Captiva is so convenient (we drove all the way south on the island and there was lots of road construction ... no construction pain here). Beach towels, breakfast, and amazing recommendations for meals (including some coupons & discounts). We were thrilled with our stay.

« Great Place To Stay »

Could not have been more pleased! Great location, close to night life, clean beaches. Traffic adjacent to hotel is minimal, very quiet area. Staff is very pleasant, helpful, and courteous. Hotel room and grounds are extremely well maintained and clean. Have enjoyed our stay here the four times that our family has been to Fort Myers.

    « GREAT Location!! »

This hotel is right on the beach and in a great location - could walk to Times Square - where you can walk on board walk and have a drink or dinner right on the water. The only complaints are the bed was too firm for me and the shower head was not adjustable, the water spit out and hurt when hit the skin; not a good shower at all in our room. Heated pool was nice and beach is right there - good view from balcony!

    5
« Excellent Option for Ft. Myers Beach »

This hotel, located on the island of Ft. Myers Beach was FABULOUS for the price and perfect for couples and families. It is an easy walk to town, with its bars, restaurants and shops - but far enough away to offer a quiet, uncrowded beachfront. All rooms have an "oceanfront" view and, OH MY, what a view it is! The hotel's landscaping and palm trees offer a measure of privacy from the gaze of beachcombers, and it was delightful to sit on the balcony (in my nightie!) and drink my coffee every morning, hearing the ocean's siren song. We rented chairs and umbrellas just steps from the water, and swam in both the gulf and the pool every day. The pool is immaculate. Both lobby and rooms have been tastefully remodeled, and each unit has a full refrigerator and kitchenette stocked with all necessary dinnerware, pots, etc. There is also a beachside grill and picnic area for guest use, shuffleboard and a swing set. All facilities are very well-kept, and it's evident that the staff takes pride in the facility. The only (minor) drawback is the breakfast seating area, which is cramped and small for the number of rooms. Breakfast hours should start earlier, to help alleviate. This location just cannot be beat. Fantastic for families!

    5
    « wonderful place »

Unfortunately we only were able to spend a couple of nights. Wish we could have stayed longer. The only drawback we found was the pool closing at sunset. Although we did see that was when they serviced the pool so we knew it was clean! Saw the maids even vacuuming the balconies!

    5
    « Great Beach Getaway »

This is a lovely facility! The landscaping in the rear of the hotel is so welcoming. It's a great place to eat breakfast or just sit and enjoy. The beach was fabulous. At night, it was not overly crowded, so was a good place to walk and wade. We look forward to returning.

    « Best Beach STAY »

From the time we checked in until we checked out, the staff were all nice ! This hotel is very clean. Rooms were well maintained. All rooms face the beach. Pool area clean. You can rent umbrellas and chairs on the beach. I loved staying in this area of Ft Myers, you were close enough to walk to the restaurants and shops and yet far enough away from the beach crowd ! You are about 40 minutes from Sanibel/Captiva Island. I would HIGHLY recommend this Best Western to anyone.. Only one negative, beds were a bit firm for us.

« The views were spectcular »

our room was 4th floor away from the pool with a perfect view out to the Gulf from our balcony!! where we caught the sunset every night & it was just steps to the Beach! Don't miss Coco in the lobby & the breakfast is delicious with quite the variety!! Also definitely rent the chairs & umbrellas in front of hotel for such a small fee! You get them from 9am - 5pm & worth every penny!! We are Best Western rewards Members for 10 years now & this is our favorite Oceanfront Beachfront one!!! We also visit the Kill Devils Hills one in OBX 2-3 times a summer!! tried other hotel rewards programs but this is the best out there!

« One of the best vacations ever! »

We had never been to Fort Myers Beach and picked this based on previous reviews and the location. We were not disappointed! For us this was in the perfect spot. It was less then 10 minutes walking to the pier and all the shops and restaurants. The beach in front of the hotel was also a little quieter than the other places that were closer to the pier and the public parking. The staff were all pleasant and professional and the room was a nice size. We will definitely be back next year!

« Perfect Location, Super Stay »

We arrived at the hotel late due to our flight. I noticed immediately how clean and nice the lobby was and the woman who checked us in was very friendly. Our room was on the third floor which was perfect and off to the side so quiet. Easy steps (outside) or elevator up. The room was very plainly furnished but had a microwave, coffee maker, full sized refrigerator, oven top and all utensils, plates, glasses and pans if you want to cook or reheat food. There was a small in room safe that could easily hold my ipad. The room were not large but there was a small kitchen pennisula to sit at and one chair by the glass sliding door and balcony. The view is beautiful since the hotel is right on Ft Myers Beach and an easy walk to wonderful restaurants and shops. We just fell in love with the area. The hotel has a pool which at times was overrun with kids jumping into forcing the non-parent adults over to one side. Luckily their antics didnt last long as they and their parents move on about an hour or two! Breakfast was very good with waffles, pancakes that you make yourself,or scrambled eggs, sausage, various breads, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals...They really had it all. There was a coffee machine with any kind of coffee you may desire. I have to add that this is perhaps the cleanest place we have ever stayed. The cleaning staff is superb. The room was always kept immaculate as were the eating area, bathrooms and all public areas. I only wish we were able to have a real late check out since our flight was so flight but they were busy so we changed in the bathrooms! This Best Western is quite the hidden gem and we would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at BW+ Fort Myers in March of 16. This is not the first time we have been there, and it definitely will not be the last. The hotel is always clean, breakfast is great, and nothing beats the view and the fairly private beach. You are close enough to get to anything you would like to do and having Holiday Water Sports right outside the door is a plus. Very nice to have an umbrella and chairs waiting for you to relax in.

« Can't beat it for the price »

We stayed one night. We wanted a beachfront hotel and a more laid back weekend then our recent Naples trip. This was perfect. Oceanfront room with 2 king beds and a kitchen. The Good - Location - within a 5 minute walk of restaurants/bars and on the beach - Room - 2 king beds, a pull out couch, kitchen, and beachfront. Awesome - Price - Great deal - Friendly staff - Parking - Really nice grounds - Very clean. I always saw someone cleaning up after guests. The not as good/could improve (can't say bad since liked the hotel a lot) - Beach chairs/umbrellas - these were for rent for $25 a day. Not sure if by the hotel. They should have some for guests but we brought our own since hotels don't seem to have beach chairs any more so no worry there. - They should add a beachfront cafe, bar, or small restaurant as the kitchen is great but the closest store in 10 min without bridge traffic. We just walked 5-10 minutes and brought a pizza back but it would be nice to have the option. If your not a walker delivery will work but limit options. Driving to the restaurants will be hard as parking is limited. Things to know - Most hotels here are like Inns and many have no food and no restaurant close. The location matters and this one is one of the closest to food. There is a free breakfast buffet as well. - There is only one elevator. We did not use it much as we prefer steps but we were on the second not 5th floor. The elevator took a while when we were getting bags upstairs so if this matters to you its an FYI. - The pool closes at dusk if this matters to you. - They have a grill area if you brought your own food to grill. - It appeared as though every room had a beach view.

« Best Western Plus Beach Hotel Review »

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Beach Resort the week of April 4 - 9. The hotel is located a short distance north of Times Square on Fort Myers Beach which allowed for comfortable walking distance to the Square, area shops and restaurants. We hired a taxi to take us from the airport to the hotel because we didn't want to drive in the area traffic which can be crowded, particularly approaching the beach area. The taxi fee for the two of us from the airport to hotel was $50.00. We were happy to find that we actually had no need for a car since everything we needed was in walking distance. We found all of the hotel staff to be friendly and helpful but would like to recognize Lindsey, Joy and Lynn for their exceptional service and great personalities. Our room was located on the fourth floor overlooking the swimming pool, beach and Gulf of Mexico. The room had a King bed, kitchenette with full size refrigerator, microwave, sink , eating utensils and two burner countertop range. Flat screen TV and WIFI were also included. The room was clean and housekeeping service was great. Free breakfast is served daily, a perk that we very much appreciated. The dining area is small so finding a place to sit can be a challenge but with a little patience was not an insurmountable problem. There are picnic tables available outdoors where some people took their breakfast but morning temperatures at this time of year are quite chilly. The hotel grounds are well kept and and the lawn area provided us a place to sit in the shade. WIFI was accessible throughout the grounds. We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Beach Resort and hope to return in April of 2017.

Not only is this hotel reasonably priced, it is also in a great location. The hotel is on Fort Myers Beach. All of the rooms overlook the pool and beach. The grounds are well kept and the rooms are clean. There are NO hidden fees.

« Great hotel and beach »

The hotel is very nice. Balconies all face the ocean. Free breakfast but its a little tight in the room so eat early. Nice restaurants close by but parking is limited yet you can easily walk to them. Parking for one car per room. Nice parking lot. Jet ski rentals near by and beach chair/umbrella's also. Very nice pier within walking distance.

« Great fort Myers beachfront hotel »

This was a great hotel on the beach with beautiful gulf and beach views. Very nice full breakfast buffet. White confectioner sand. Nicely appointed room with small kitchen. Walk to fun beachfront restaurants. Very friendly staff. Highly recommends his hotel.

    « Best Western Plus »

My Wife and I were extremely satisfied with our experience at the Best Western Hotel. The view of Gulf from our room was breathtaking. The room was clean and well maintained. There was a variety of items on the breakfast menu and were hot and delicious. We would definitely stay there the next time we travel to Fort Myers.

    « Our Annual "Gem" »

This was our 11th or 12th year in a row of staying at this hotel. We will continue to stay here on our future trips. The staff are friendly, helpful, and so qualified. The rooms are lovely...each with a beach-front view. The pool, grounds, lobby, etc. are beautifully maintained. The breakfasts, included with the room, are very good....with a good combination of warm dishes as well as "to grab" items. The hotel is located within walking distance of the restaurants, shops, etc. So many of the staff have been there for a long time. That tells a lot about the hotel. Plus, for us, it's like "coming home" to see familiar/friendly faces. I can't say enough about how happy we are there.

    « A jewel in the Gulf »

I wanted to keep it a secret so it does not turn into another one of the many, but this is the Hotel offers the best bang for your buck in the Florida's Gulf Coast. The place is immaculate and service is cordial and professional. Well equipped rooms.

    5
    « Excellent location & facilities »

This hotel is situated in a beautiful location, all rooms face the Gulf, they are well equipped, comfortable and clean. The pool is a decent size, clean and inviting, the beach is clean with white sand. There is a great selection of foods for breakfast with hot drinks available 24hrs a day. It is a leisurely stroll along the beach to restaurants, bars and shops. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if visiting the area ( I will be back).

    « Perfect »

We've recently spent 5 nights at this hotel. It has such a perfect location and is somewhere my husband and I visited 20 years ago! Nothing has changed (apart from room decor). It has remained a quiet, clean, easy and unspoilt place. Not sure we want to wait another 20 years to go back!

    « Delightful Retreat »

We spent 4 glorious days in a Oceanview suite. The view from the balcony was so delightful we hardly wanted to leave. The room was ample beds comfortable, front desk service helpful, and serve staff efficient. The sunsets from our balcony so strongly called us back that we took decided to eat dinners early in order to be back for the shows.

    5
« Very nice beach trip »

We were very pleased with hotel . We had 4th floor so balcony was nice and caught open breezes. Very easy in and out for driving. I liked the breakfast too. The coffee was good and hot. Staff very nice. The hotel is right on the beach about six blocks down from pier. Near shopping and restaurants. The current road construction on Estero Blvd shoes make navigating a bit hard. The only thing I would improve on is the pillows. I like mine thicker and with more density. We chose this over one on Sanibel and we're pleased we did.

« Sun, sunsets, sandcastles, seashells = Serene Vacation »

We were lucky to return again for our 5th year and happy to say, not a lot has changed - which is exactly what we liked! From the minute we checked in till we left, we had friendly staff, a great room, a wonderful breakfast and beautiful weather. It's so peaceful and relaxing here and if you want something else, take a beach walk or street walk to Times Square, about 5 minutes away. We are always happy to have our corner room wish granted, a beautiful cleaned up room, a great variety at the complimentary breakfast and a nonstop ocean view. We want to say "thank you" for providing an atmosphere that leaves you smiling when you arrive, as well as when you leave. See you next year Rich and everyone else!

« Great place to enjoy the beach »

I was very impressed how well this hotel is managed and maintained. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything you could possible need to make meals like being home Great location and free parking. This is a great place to stay!

    « Almost perfect »

This was our third visit to this property, so obviously we like it. Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room and view. Short walk to restaurants. Hotel IS pricey. Just a few issues....slow and unreliable internet and getting hot water takes patience.

    « Happy Returned Customer »

This is our 2nd time here. We rented a two bedroom suite on the third floor. The hotel is very clean. Super white sand. Enjoyed watching the dolphins and rays right in front of our hotel. The hotel is located on a quiet section of the beach. I will be back!

    « Ok stay..... »

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Here are my pros and cons:) Pros: The hotel is close to Times Square, you can just walk The pool area is nice and overlooks the ocean Very good breakfast every morning Has a grill and shuffleboard Ocean is very close to the hotel, you don't have to walk far Full size fridge in the room Most rooms overlook the ocean Cons: Pool closes when the sun goes down!! Not open at night! Pool opens super late at 9:00AM No outdoor hottub either!! Bummer:( Very busy beach - noisy during the day The standard rooms are super small!! I don't think I'd be able to stay here more then 5 nights! At least you spend a lot of time outside. Very rude older front desk lady - was arguing with mutiple people. All of the other front desk people were nice though:) We've stayed at the southern end of the island, closer to Bonita Springs and it is way quieter down that way. But if you like the action and want to walk to Times Square this may be the place for you. The biggest disappointment for me and my family was that the pool area closed soo early!! And that there was no hot tub!! It is also pitch black in the front of the hotel at night! You won't be playing night shuffleboard either. I also didn't like that there was no outdoor light to turn on out on the outdoor deck. Super dark!! This is a nice hotel, but very, very small rooms as well. For 4 people it's pretty tight!! We love the Ft. Myers area though and enjoyed ourselves there. We had a great vacation!!

« Laid Back Beach Haven »

This Best Western provides a relaxing, laid back atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally well trained and happy to assist in any way. Was equally impressed with the cleanliness. Breakfast was more than adequate, has breakfast meats and eggs, as well as waffles, yogurts, etc. Local on the beach is ideal!

    « Beach Front »

You can't beat this beach front location close to time square. The staff were great, always plenty of towels and room at the pool. Wish there was a restaurant/bar on site. We used the cabanas everyday and played shuffle board. The lobby was always cool and a great gathering place.

    « A great beachfront hotel »

We stayed here for a week following a week in Orlando. This hotel has a great location with wonderful views of the Gulf of Mexico. Very clean & well maintained. The rooms all have private balconies. They offer a good breakfast choice in the morning which you help yourself to. The hotel has a private beach where you need to pay for sun loungers, beach towels are provided. The hotel is within walking distance of Times Square restaurants & bars. We really enjoyed our stay.

    « Super clean property »

Love this place. Clean as a whistle. Not just the rooms (which they are), but also the grounds and pool area are cleaned every day. Very convenient to the beach and if you have to run back up to your room it's not so big so that's easy. Safe for kids to run around. You can walk to dinner on the beach!!! Super convenient.

    4
    « Nice stay »

The location of this property is wonderful and the hotel is clean and comfortable. The beach view from the room was great and the room was well equipped with a full sized refrigerator. Breakfast was standard, but they had it well filled. And parking was easy too. Only complaint is that you are definitely paying for location especially during peak season.

    5
« Perfect Beach Stay and Great Location! »

I was wondering if this hotel would live up to all the great reviews and beautiful photos. I can honestly say it did! All the rooms are ocean view and on a beautiful & uncrowded section of the beach, rooms are very clean & updated, complimentary breakfast and 24 hr coffee machine (coffee is actually good), VERY friendly staff, quiet and not a loud party hotel, beds are comfortable, within walking distance of lots of great restaurants, etc. Great place! We definitely would stay here again.

    « Beautiful Beach Setting »

We came down to Fort Myers to watch Spring Training baseball and vacation. We stayed at another hotel closer to Hammond Field but wanted to be by the beach after our game schedule was complete so we moved to this hotel for the last 2 days of our trip. It was fantastic. What a location! Beautiful setting and great breakfast. Staff was helpful with everything we needed. I booked online the day before we arrived as they had an opening so we took it. When I arrived they cleaned my room especially so I could get in early. They also lowered my price for the room without me even asking because I was a returning guest. Saved me $100. Only negative was traffic coming in to Fort Myers Beach was terribly backed up on the bridge. Something to consider if you have a schedule to keep. Not their fault though.

We began staying at this hotel for our "spring break" family trips during the past 25 years. This is our annual "go to" Florida get-away for our family. Now the youngest generation count the days to their next trip here. It's truly a heavenly time for young and old alike. Thank you to every detail remembered and your thoughtful staff from the moment we sometime weary travelers arrive ready for much needed R & R. Sincerely, Steve and Kris Hanson

« GREAT PLACE TO STAY! »

We stayed here the year before last and loved it! We wanted to stay again last year but no rooms available. We stayed at a large resort on FT Myers beach that had everything as it was the only place available and we still like the Best Western waaaaay better. We booked our room for this year last to be sure we could get in . Looking forward to another great stay at Best Western Plus. The only thing we don't care for was cigarette smoke from the ground level. We thought it was totally smoke free but that won't stop us from staying there as unfortunately you get that everywhere! Book it you'll be glad you didn't!

« Have been back many times »

Our favorite place to stay on Fort Myers Beach. Right on the beach, well maintained, hot and cold breakfast options, friendly staff. Doesn't have an onsite bar but there are plenty within walking distance.

    « Loved this place! »

We just returned from a seven-day stay here and LOVED every minute. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's kept sparkling clean and organized. Breakfast is good. Free coffee available 24hrs. All rooms face the Gulf for spectacular sunsets from your private balcony. The kitchenette is extremely handy. If you want a quiet place to relax, this is it. As you head out the door toward the heated pool, shuffle board area or the white sandy beaches of Ft. Myers Beach, you'll be greeted by a 38-year-old Yellow Nape Amazon Parrot named Coco "Hello"!! We love Coco and you will too! It's only a 5-10 minute walk to the pier, shops, and restaurants and we already miss this place. We will definitely return to this gem of a hotel next season.

« Definitely Reccommend this Hotel »

We had a wonderful 3 day stay at this hotel this past week. The hotel is very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The location of the hotel was perfect. It is serene and quiet, but, within short walking distance to Times Square, the "heart" of Fort Myers Beach.

    4
    « Spring training trip »

The hotel was great. It was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The beach was gorgeous. We rented our umbrella/chairs for $23/day but they do give you a deal for a 3 day rental. luckily the resort is located on the north end of the island which was easier to get to with the traffic than heading south on the island. There is quite a bit of traffic to get on and around the island. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying on Ft Myers Beach.

    « Spring break review »

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It has a great pool & the beautiful beach is easy access. The breakfast was great & it was an easy walk to lots of fun restaurants and shops. The rooms with double beds are not queen so the beds were not as comfortable. There is a kitchen and that was great to have when you have a family with different time tables on eating. There is a grocery store about a 15 minute walk away. Be ready for awful traffic getting to the hotel! We did not drive anywhere after we arrived due to the awful traffic.

    5
    « Another perfect stay »

This hotel was great in the past and is still now, our normal reaction when we arrive is always just WOW. It's clean and comfortable and has great breakfast food, this perfects our weeks stay and maintains our good mood. Nowhere can be found topping the great Fort Myer's weather, It makes it very easy to break our Michigan tether. We travel here yearly and know all the while, that nothing can stop Gen Mgr's Tim's smile :-) The hotel has all gulfview suites and single rooms too, I'm sure they will have one just perfect for you. The beach is pristine and so is the pool, That's just one more reason that this hotel rules.

    5
    « wonderful beach experience »

« Hotel stay on Fort Myers Beach »

Very good place to stay for a low key atmosphere for Spring Break. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a tasty hot breakfast each morning as a part of the hotel room price. If your a younger person it would probably not be the place for you to stay. It is an older crowd that stays at this place. Thus it is quieter!

    5
    « Great beachfront location »

This was our second stay at this hotel and did not disappoint. The rooms and property are very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast helps save time and money. There is a nice mix of breakfast items for varying preferences. The heated pool is relaxing with a wonderful view of the beach.

    4
    « Very Nice - Great Location »

Had room 105, not a great view but steps to a beautiful beach. The room is clean and well-maintained, property is walking distance to good places to eat and drink. The pool looks nicer in the pictures, but would have been fine for smaller children. We were more interested in the beach anyhow... Overall we had a very nice stay, somewhat shocked at how low the property is rated.

    5
    « Wonderful place!!! »

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was great! We are a family of 4 and wanted a little beach time after our visit with grandma and grandpa in Marco island . It's a little congested coming in over the bridge but once you get there you can walk everywhere. We stayed in room 216 and the view was absolutely perfect! A more private view looking out to the beach with a little grassy area below which was also very nice with Adirondack chairs for sunset watching. Rooms and hotel were very clean . Staff very accommodating and breakfast was great !! Pool is a little small but very clean and those views to the ocean are great as well. Great temperature too! Highly recommend this hotel!

    « Beach Holiday »

My husband and my daughter stayed here to try out the beach in the winter. We were very pleased with the service and experience we had here. We were right on the ocean but able to stay poolside and be comfortable. All the rooms face the ocean which is why you go to the beach, right! The complimentary breakfast was nice too, not a 5 star, but it is complimentary and had options to keep us all happy.

« Nice hotel, great views »

This was a great hotel in many ways. We had never visited FMB before and decided to try it since our favorite place to stay in Sanibel was booked. I loved being right on the beach and having a balcony overlooking the yard/beach/pool. Room was nice with the mini-kitchen area, not a lot of room, but OK for the week. Very quiet - we rarely heard other guests. Breakfast in the morning was pretty good. Loved Coco - the resident parrot. Being within walking distance of many restaurants, Times Square, shops was fantastic. Several nights we walked on the beach before and/or after dinner to our restaurant and enjoyed the sunset along the way. What we didn't like about FMB was the lack of quality shops in the Times Square area. I'd say 95% of the shops were your tacky/touristy junk shops. That was disappointing. I would expect a few of those, but not so many. Traffic getting to FMB if we happened to drive off was horrible each day - we understand it is 'the season', but it made us think twice about driving over the bridge. I was happy to stay put at this beach more than my husband - it's a lovely beach, but not enough interesting shelling or beachcombing to keep him entertained, so he actually drove off FMB at least 5 times during our 8 days there. He would go to Sanibel (twice I went with him) for shelling and once he went on a Captiva Cruise (alone) and once we went to Caspersen Beach in Venice together (almost a 2 hour drive) looking for shark's teeth - just for something different to do. Bottom line is we would not come back to FMB, but not because we didn't like this hotel - it was very nice - but because we would rather be on Sanibel. The couple of suggestions that I would make on the room to improve it - provide paper towels and a scrubber. They provided dish washing liquid, but nothing to use to scrub or wash the dishes/silverware/cups with, so I just had to use my hands. Get rid of the down pillows and down comforters. Who needs comforters in Florida?! i had to roll them off the bed each night so I wouldn't overheat. All rooms are beach front! When we first checked in, our room wasn't ready and she said she could get us a different room, but that it had palm trees in front 'obstructing' the view. We loved it - it provided some much needed late afternoon shade and we were not over the pool, which we didn't want in the first place.

    « GREAT Ocean Views »

Wife and I stayed 4 nights on the top floor king bed. We arrived early around noon and did not expect our room to be ready. Staff was great allowing us to drop our bags securely in back office area so we could stroll down the beach to find some food. Staff took our cell # so they could call us when our room was ready. Pool area is nice with great views of the beach. We sat around the pool 3 afternoons. There are conveniently located restrooms to use off the lobby vs running back to your room. There were always plenty of lounge chairs to use. Pool is heated. There is a very good daily breakfast served off the lobby from 7-10. Nice feature especially for those with children. Our room was spacious and clean NO Complaints. Was nice having a fridge and microwave. There is a 7 Elevin store about a block or so away with snacks and beer. We enjoyed a couple of awesome sunsets from the balcony. This hotel is located close enough to town square for relaxing walks yet far enough north of the public beach activity. We were very satisfied with our room the services provided and friendly staff. We would rate this place a 8 out of 10.

« Relaxing time for the whole family »

Spent 5 days at Fort Myers Beach. First time in the area so we didn't know what to expect. Hotel was perfect for our family. Kids used the heated pool, played shuffleboard, and built sand castles on the beach. Our area of the island was less crowded (possibly due to lack of public parking and less restaurants/bars). The area around times square and just south of the pier were really crowded. We bought some shrimp from the farmers markets and Trico Seafood market and utilized the gas grill at the hotel. Hotel staff was great!...very friendly and very helpful. Kids also liked the talking bird, "Coco", in the main lobby. For the price, I wish the rooms were a little bigger. For the next trip though, I think we will try the southern part of the island to avoid the traffic and crowds.

    5
    « BEYOND COMPARE! »

Very nice maintained property! We had a great room with stove, fridge, cooking utensils, and private balcony offering fantastic view of Gulf. But it's not cheap. Property has own private beach, and, beautiful lobby complete with parrot named CoCo. Friendly & helpful staff. Great breakfast! Shops & restaurants are within a few blocks, easy to walk to. This place is not easy to get to from Fort Myers, plus traffic is horrendous! Beware, there's road construction on main beach road, be prepared to wait.

    « Paradise »

This Best Western on Fort Myers Beach is heaven on earth. So relaxing and quiet and with every room having a view of the Gulf there is no worry if you will actually get your Gulf view as promised. The beach is just a walk outside the door and you are there. And speaking of the beach you can walk along the beach to Time Square where restaurants and shops are within 5 minutes. This is our second trip here and we hope to make next year our third!

    « Eastland Family Vacation »

We've been staying at Best Western Beach Resort in Fort Myers for over 10 years and are always very happy. It's an excellent location on the island and very quiet at night. It's a quiet walk to the Time Square area for night time entertainment and island restaurants. The pool is always warm even when the weather is chilly. It's nice to look out and look at the beautiful white sand while you enjoy the sun. We love the breakfast and every room has a kitchen. Thanks for another great family vacation at BWBR.

« Super location, satisfactory accomodation »

This hotel is not inexpensive due to its terrific location on the beach with great views of the Gulf. Our room was spacious and had a nice balcony, however we felt the room was a little spars.y furnished with only one easy chair. The dining area was totally inadequate for a hotel of this size. I counted about twenty seats...not enough. The coffee was disgusting from a machine, surely Best Western could do better. pArking was adequate. Near to the local shops atbTimes Square

« Probably the most satisying Hotel experience of my life! »

The room we had was spotless, quiet and had a great view of the Gulf of Mexico. The staff was always pleasant and went out of their way to help. The amenities were great: a full breakfast every morning, free daily newspapers were available at the front desk, access to a BBQ grill, pool and located right on the beach. In addition there is a vendor located right on the beach who rents out cabanas, beach chairs and ski-doos. Also, if you didn't want to take advantage of the numerous, outstanding restaurants in the area (many in walking distance through the charming town of Fort Myers Beach) the room had a small, but perfectly outfitted kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator. For my wife and I, this hotel could not have been better.

    5
    « Very Nice »

I love this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds are immaculate and well landscaped. Our room had a balcony looking over the beach and very comfortable bed. It's in the less busy part of town and easy to get to, but close to restaurants and the pier, with in walking distance.

    4
« Quiet hotel yet minutes from many restaurants and shops »

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. All rooms has an ocean front view with a balcony or patio. We had a balcony which was a nice place to enjoy our morning coffee to the evening glass of wine. Our room was large and had a nice kitchenette which we used for some of our meals. The breakfast was very nice with a good assortment of hot and cold items. Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the friendly Macaw in the lobby. The beach was great for walking and the heated pool was near by. Everything at this hotel was quite handy. Many restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

« Love Ft Myers Beach »

This was our second time staying at the Best Western Plus on Ft Meyers Beach. We love it. The facilities are spotless. The staff all have outstanding customers service skills. It is conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. We walked to restaurants, shopping and night life. Highly recommend.

« great beech and great location »

This hotel offers fantastic beach access and a great location. You can walk down the beech or down the sidewalk to get to the restaurants and shopping. Every room offers a beach view! As far as Fort Meyers Beach, I can not think of a better place to stay. The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful.

« Relaxation at its best! »

With every room facing the gulf, you'll never miss the dolphins swim past in the morning, or beautiful sunsets every evening! The staff is friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable. Coffee on the balcony followed by a morning walk on the beach... Does it get any better than that? Even though we had cool, rainy weather for part of our trip, we stayed comfy and relaxed at BWBR! Looking forward to our next visit already!

« Great location; Rooms have mini kitchens »

So these rooms ALL face the Gulf. Wonderful sounds and views of ocean. The small galley kitchen has a full size refrigerator, small sink, microwave, and 2 burner cook-top. A major plus was the nice selection of pots & pans, dishes, washing soap, and utensils. We brought fresh seafood in one night, just stir-fried, and sat on the balcony to watch the sunset. You are easy walking distance up the beach to town and not too far from Bowditch Point park. They have lots of beach in front of the hotel and those guys that rent stuff from chairs, umbrellas, or Seadoos. The outdoor pool is heated nicely! We got lots of pictures of wild life and saw many things that had washed upon the shore from the tides. The breakfast comes with eggs, and other hot stuff. The eating area inside is small but they have outside seating also. It seems to me the beds are very firm. They also are protected from bedbugs with plastic encasement under the mattress pads. I notice a slight tad of noise from the plastic. That is how I came to look and know this. My husband would never notice. The bathroom is in it's own room with a real door to close. Check prices for several dates. I found from week to week or day to day it could be a big jump.

    « Great beach vacation! »

The Best Western Plus Hotel on Ft. Myers Beach was comfortable and quiet, with great views over the 7 mile long beach with sunset views every night! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well equipped with a perfect size small kitchen, all up to date remodeling with granite countertops and nice cabinets. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of nice pillows.

« Good hotel in Paradise »

We stayed at this Best Western Plus for the first time and we were very pleased with the staff and the location. All of the front desk personnel, along with the cleaning staff and the breakfast attendants were super at their jobs and always had a smile and a pleasant greeting. The location is prime, right on the beach and every room has a view of the gulf. Now, I wish I could say our stay was perfect but it was not. There were several barking dogs on the premises which woke us up at various times during the night. (This is a pet friendly hotel). Also, our headboard was in disrepair and they should have fixed it long before any other occupant took the room. It was awful to look at the spots and tears on the headboards every day. One day, the hot water system broke and we could not take showers that morning. They fixed it quickly but still... The location can't be beat as it is quiet and you can walk several blocks down to the center of Fort Myers Beach where all the action is. However, due to the dog issue, I don't think we will return.

    « Best Vacation ever... »

Most beautiful, relaxing hotel I have ever stayed....Staff was like family, We met people who have been coming here for the past 8, 12 years, they only had good things to say, and will continue coming back...Including us...We will be staying longer next year...

    « Super! »

This was my fifth year to stay at the Best Western Beach Resort in Ft Myers... I will only stay here when I visit.. The hotel offers the best service, clean rooms, terrific staff from the top with the owners, who are present and visit with guests. Every one of the front desk people will go out of their way to help and meet the needs of the guests.. The Breakfast Bar ladies are so pleasant and always keep the area neat and clean and make sure the food is always refilled, the maids are top notch and do an excellent job and also the maintenance men are always cleaning and keeping the place in top notch condition. The hotel is located within walking distance to many shops and restaurants also. Just a great place to stay and relax.

    « No complaints whatsoever. »

We chose to stay at this hotel because of the reviews on TA and we were not disappointed because of the following: -right on the beach -lovely grounds -nice view from the room -good breakfast that is ample and polite breakfast hosts -24 hour coffee and other hot drinks -free parking -good-sized room -microwave, full-size ref., and cooktop in the room -gulf-front balcony with chairs and table -friendly, professional staff -convenient location to all the businesses, yet far enough away to be quiet -everything everywhere was clean and well-maintained -plenty of towels provided for the pool and the beach -excellent housekeeping service -in-room safe -free-wi-fi -good tv -reasonable rate considering everything above The only question would be why the pool closes at dusk (I forgot to ask the staff), but that is an extremely minor point. Tip: We rented good beach chairs and an umbrella from Holiday. Gary sets them up at 9 a.m. and takes them down at 5 p.m. and he is a really good guy, so tip him. $22 for the day or you can rent a "cabana" for $25. You could bring your own or buy some at the many shops down the street or at Wal-Mart across the bridge. -

    « Best.Hotel.Ever »

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend. I used to be a resident of Fort Myers when I was in college and was familiar with the more popular hotels on Fort Myers Beach, like the Lanai Kai. Best Western was a little farther down, so it was very peaceful and private but in walking distance to all the local eateries/bars. The room was spotless and the view was spectacular. We loved it so much that we booked a surprise weekend for my parents who had just as wonderful as an experience as we did. The hotel staff make you feel like family and the GM Jeff was more than accommodating of our needs/wants. Definitely will forever stay here and no where else.

« Best Western Fort Myers Oceanfront »

Great location; quiet but easy walking to eating places, etc. Excellent staff and facility. All rooms ocean front. The only drawback is that many rooms have too many palm trees that restrict the view of the water. We switched to a room above the pool that seemed to have the fewest trees.

« Will return to this beachfront property! »

Nothing to complain about here! Comfortable, efficient and clean room with nice products. Nice little balcony with ocean view. Great kitchenette with full-size fridge. Good breakfast--you could make breakfast tacos even! Cold water in the lobby--so appreciated as it was warmer than normal for the 2nd week of November. Talking parrot in the lobby :) The outdoor grounds are kept very nice and include shuffleboard! The pool is great to have too,and towels are provided in the lobby. Loved being right on the beach for walks and sunrise/sunsets!! Could also easily walk to town for dinner, etc. Nice staff. Great value!

« Back to back years at this great hotel! »

This is a really great hotel. The staff are very nice. The breakfast was good. The grounds and pool are nice. The beach is perfect. Our kids were 6 and 2 and they loved it, too . . . Only bad thing is the hotel is booked this year so we have to find somewhere else to stay for our 3rd annual Fort Myers Beach family trip!! Might have to stop in so the kids can say hi to Coco :)

    « Exceeded our expectations »

Exceeded our expectations. Clean, neat the grounds between the hotel and the beach beautiful. Very family oriented. private beach was nice when public area was packed. Staff very efficient and helpful and had a complimentary breakfast which was great. Value was great compared to other nice hotels on the beach in the area.

    5
    « Beautiful sunsets »

There was a beautiful pool and a great beach. Water was still warm in January and had a very sandy beach. Our room was on the third floor and had a nice balcony overlooking the beach. The sunsets are just beautiful over the gulf. Staff at the front desk were very helpful.

« Great rest and care at Best Western »

This was a wonderful place to stay on our 7 night stay in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. The Place was extremely Clean & the Staff was extremely qualified. This is a place where you will be satisfied with the location being a 5 minute walk to Time Square, to Stores, Restaurants, Live Entertainment, etc....

« Best Place On The Beach »

We went to Fort Myers Beach over Christmas break and this hotel was exactly what we dreamed it would be! The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the room overlooking the ocean was picture perfect! Everything was extremely clean and it was great to have a large shower and regular size refrigerator. Breakfast every morning was excellent and the window of time to enjoy it was great. The only thing that we could have used was more storage space but a minor concern when you have a place as beautiful as the Best Western. We will definitely be back!

« Ft. Myers Family Getaway »

this hotel is a great place to stay and play! the staff is very accommodating and eager to please. the location is great, there's 7 miles of beach out the back door and the little beach town just a stroll down the road. A very relaxed and a fun vacation in a nicely renovated, updated hotel. We usually stay at 4 - 5 star hotels and this was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely recommend staying here.

    « Outstanding! »

Loved this place so much we extended our stay. The resort is super clean. The location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance. Ample parking. Complimentary hot breakfast was a great perk. We will definitely stay here again!

    « Nice beachfront hotel »

Good quiet location just north of "Times Square", but close enough to walk. Rooms were clean and a good size. The only complaint is that the AC was 6 inches away from one of the beds, so if you were in the middle or one side of the bed then the air blows directly on you. Its a strange setup. The pool was very good. The beach was great and not near as crowded as it was closer to the pier. Located right beside parasailing and jet ski rental. Breakfast, wifi , 24 hour coffee and parking were all included.

    5
« Great North end beach hotel »

Clean, great Breakfast, friendly staff, nice room and comfy beds. Definitely one of the best hotels on Ft Myers Beach. Location is perfect, closest nice hotel to Times Square so an easy walk. Family owned is plus--it really shows.

    « Great Hotel »

From 2010-2015 we have stayed here 3 times and we have yet to complain about anything! Its a very nice clean hotel with a great breakfast every morning and coffee/cappuccino all day! The staff is very nice and always friendly. The rooms, outside area, breakfast area are always nice and clean too. They have a little swing/sand area that's kid friendly and made it very nice for our 3 year old.

« Excellent Place To Stay! »

We visit Fort Myers Beach yearly and decided to stay here instead of our usual place...And I'm so glad we did. The entire place was very clean and newly renovated. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful especially Joy & Rich at the Front Desk. It is located right near the main part of strip near many restaurants and shops. Oh yeah, and EVERY room has a GREAT balcony view of the beach! The beach was very well kept and beautiful! We did rent two beach chairs and a umbrella for the week from Holiday Water Sports (which is located right on the beach near the Best Western) they do charge a daily fee- but it is WELL WORTH it. Gary was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend the Best Western and Holiday Water Sports Rentals!

    « Best hotel experience »

This Best Western is always a great place to vacation. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The entire place is clean and neatly kept including the beach. Breakfast comes free with the room and is always hot, fresh and items are often different from day to day. It's located quite near the center of Fort Meyers Beach and has great access to many places. You will truly enjoy your vacation at this Best Western.

This was a perfect place to stay. The location was perfect. The resort was clean and well landscaped. The staff is top notch and overall very friendly. We would recommend this resort to anyone. The pool was clean and well maintained. The beach was clean and there were chairs and cabanas to rent at a reasonable cost. It was a perfect choice for a relaxing trip!

« AWESOME experience at Best Western Plus »

This hotel is an excellent value. I've stayed at a "high end" resort down the strip (significantly more expensive) as well as a condo type hotel in the area (similar priced) but no real lobby or breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it is delightful and well staffed / supplied, above standard complimentary fare. Loved the 24 hour coffee / cappuccino machine. The location is also perfect, easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Appreciated the abundance of mature palm trees on the property and the beach is great (beach is similar for all hotels in area). Housekeeping was very courteous and personable. Room was very clean, even my wife was impressed!

    « 2 week family vacation »

Stayed 2 weeks with wife and 3 kids, only complaint is wish we could have stayed in larger room. Check in was great, Rich was helpful and answered all questions. The pool is great for kids, ours would go to relax for a few after playing on the beach for several hours. The sunset views were amazing, the rooms are clean, the staff is great. Exceeded all my expectations. Thank you for helping making a great Christmas vacation for our family..

    5
« Excellent location and service »

Excellent location and a perfect spot on the more desirable north end of Fort Myers Beach. Only footsteps from Times Square food and shopping where the majority of the "action" is on the island. The rooms all have a full view that face the beach with balconies and the Gulf. Staff was very professional and helpful. Rooms were clean, updated and very quiet.

« Vacation at Best Western in Ft. Myers Beach, FL. »

This is one of the very best hotels on Ft. Myers Beach. It is clean, friendly and has a great location. The breakfast is delicious. We especially like the sitting area on the grass where you can sit and have a leisurely cup of coffee while reading the newspaper or a good book. And don't forget to say "hello" to Coco the Parrot.

    5
    « Christmas 2015 »

The hotel was very clean with good beach access much better than the other hotels I have stayed in on Fort Myers Beach. The staff was very friently and helpful and all rooms have a gulf view. We were only there one night but would not hesitate to rebook this hotel for a more lengthy stay.

    « nice getaway »

Celebrated our anniversary with a long weekend to Ft Myers and stayed at Best Western Plus Beach Resort. Great location, easy walk to Times Square and lots of restaurants and bars. Room was clean and comfortable and was equipped with a kitchenette, it was nice to have a refrigerator. They also offer a free breakfast in the lobby area if you don't feel like walking to a restaurant. We would stay here again.

    5
    « Vacation Spot »

Great views from beachfront rooms and balcony. Rooms have nice furniture, full kitchens and large flat screen tv. Pool and beach are wonderful. Location is right by all the restaurants and activities that this area offers. Wife and I did not want to leave.

    « Definitely a "Plus" hotel. »

Stayed in a 5th floor suite room and had an outstanding view of the beautiful beach. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping and maintenance, are all very friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. The hotel and grounds are exceptionally well maintained and clean and you can see the dedication from the owner and staff to keep it this way. The heated pool was refreshing but not cold and was kept clean all day, not just once in the morning before everybody got up. The free breakfast has the same types of items you would expect from a quality business type hotel and was fresh and kept full by the staff. We will definitely be staying at this hotel when we visit Ft. Myers again.

    5
    « Perfect vacation »

We have been coming here for 20 years and have never been disappointed . The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. Rooms are clean and very comfortable, All rooms are have beautiful view of the gulf . Free breakfast is very good. Nice pool , great for families or couples ,

« Beautiful view, perfect location »

Everything about my stay at this hotel was terrific. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was roomier than at many hotels. The view of the beach was the best! All rooms are oceanfront. Walk out the lobby door, through a beautifully landscaped garden of palm trees, to the beach, only steps away. The hotel is located just a short walk to the shops, restaurants, and live music at Times Square, yet it is quiet and peaceful as you relax on the beach, or sit in the chairs in the garden or on your balcony/patio. Breakfast is extensive: self-serve eggs, meat, cereal, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, waffles, pastries, breads, juice, and hot beverages. Staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely return.

Great location and views. Rooms are well designed, oceanfront with great views. Mily and Rich at the front desk were very friendly, professional and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we had a great vacation experience. Exceptional customer service!!

« Excellent view, all rooms overlook beach »

We checked in for one night last Thursday as we wanted to explore Ft Myers and Sanibel / Captiva Island. The front desk person, Rich, suggested that we hold the room for a second night as most people are impressed with the hotel and the area and he said that it was Thanksgiving weekend and that they would be fully booked. We had a very nice room with kitchen and bar counter with two double beds and private balcony. Hotel and room were exceptionally clean. It is located one block from restaurant and shops. We ended up booking for three nights and really enjoyed the beach and pool. Breakfast included was varied and very good. Slept with door open and could hear the surf. Staff were attentive and very friendly.

« "The Best" Best Western Resort »

I think this is the best hotel on Ft Myers Beach. Although it's a reasonably priced Best Western, you'll think you're at a high end resort. Great rooms, very nice pool, an excellent grass sitting area, free breakfast, and right on the beach. Every room (suites) has a great view. I almost don't want to write a review because I don't want all the rooms booked up when I go back again. And, if you've ever been to Ft Myers beach, you'll know that many of the hotels are quite a walking distance from the main center, Times Square. This is only a few minutes, by beach or street.

    5
    « Great Hotel! »

We stayed there for four nights. It was a great hotel. It was right on the beach, walking distance to many places, staff was friendly, free breakfast and clean rooms. The price was reasonable too. On my next visit, they will be my first choice for a place to stay.

    5
    « Nice stay »

We stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel is in great location in Ft Myers and on the beach. It was about a half mile walk to the pier with its shops. The beach was nice and every morning we found a good selection of shells. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and faced the Gulf- great view. Super sunsets! We like the kitchenette and full size fridge. The beds comfy. AC worked great. The breakfast were very good and refreshed often- nothing ran out. Staff great! The pool was nice. The only minor complaint is pool and shuffleboard area are not lit and closes at dusk. Something unusual was most of the guest were super friendly and it was very easy to chat like old friends, something we don't see at most hotels we been to. Overall it was a great stay and we highly recommend it

« Best Western Plus Beach Resort »

Very nice, clean, friendly hotel, right on the beach. We would come back when we are in the area. All of the rooms face the beach and the hotel is centrally located. Nice breakfast assortment, and fresh, hot options, along with cereal and bakd good options.

« One of the best Hotels at Fort Myers Beach »

I stayed 4 nights mid November, this hotel is all about location, the lobby/pool is literally 20 steps from the beach. All rooms have ocean views with balconies which is a big bonus, the rooms are not massive but OK for two people. Our room was modern and in good condition with very comfortable beds. House keeping are fantastic, the rooms are spotless which is no easy feat with the fine sand from the beach. I am a very light sleeper and the rooms were perfectly sound proof, i didn't hear any noise from other guests my entire stay. The grounds are beautifully kept and very attractive, the pool is ok, it would be better if they had more umbrellas. The hotel staff are all very friendly and welcoming as is coco the parrot. The free breakfast is the standard american style you'll find at most hotels. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel to couples visiting the area.

    « Welcoming »

« Great resort on the beach! »

This is my second stay at this Best Western and enjoyed it even more this time. Every room faces the beach/Gulf. The beds were really comfortable and the balconies were great. Breakfasts were really good. They have really nice staff. It's a great location to walk to a lot of restaurants, but also easy access to get off the island. I look forward to my next visit.

« Nothing to complain about. Decent hotel, centrally located »

We booked this hotel very last minute, as we were needed a new accommodation, because our hotel in Miami was abysmal. Nice room, with an awesome view on the beach. I guess, every room has a similar view. Although I wouldn't recommend a room on the ground floor, as other guest can look directly in your room, when walking to/from the beach, pool or lobby. It was centrally located, i.e. walking distance to the pier and the bars and restaurants. But most importantly, it was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was included. It's a small, but decent buffet. Altogether, nothing spectacular, but adequate hotel.

    « Very nice hotel »

This hotel has been renovated in the past several years and is immaculately clean. The beds are comfortable and the view of the gulf and beautiful palm trees is very nice to look out at as you open your hotel curtain in the morning. The breakfast was very good as well, and Coco the parrot was very entertaining and fun to visit every time I passed through the lobby or courtyard.

    5
    « great place »

Beach, pool, and sunsets can't be beat! Every room with a gulf view. Spotless and staff is terrific. Lost count on how many years we have been coming. Handy to shopping, restaurants, Sanibel, and Captiva. The staff goes the extra mile to please and they are always courteous and helpful. No better sunsets anywhere!

    « BEST HOTEL EVER »

It was our 5th time at this beautyful place. It isn't just a hotel, it is truely a litte paradise. All rooms are beachfront, so you have an amazing view from your balcony. The staff is absolutely friendly and very nice! Rooms are beautyful and very clean. It is great located, you can take a short walk to dinner. The breakfast is very good. Only thing to improve would be daily served fruit salad, not only a few days a week. We will come back asap!

« Nice hotel for the price! »

Staff was very friendly, nice clean hotel, view was amazing, beach area was clean and sand smoothed out, pool area was nice as well. Breakfast was amazing, loved the pancakes. Not far from restaurants and shopping, very easy to walk to. Very nice hotel, staff, view, and etc... Only stayed one night though, then with family. Only compliant I have is no where to sit on the beach. You have to rent the chairs, seriously? Its really hard to bring chairs with you on an airplane, so somewhere to sit or lay on the beach included would be nice. Good time. Thanks may return someday :) Clean hotel. Friendly people. Very nice for the money

« We love this hotel! »

This is the third year we have stayed in this hotel in November because we just love it! The location is great-right on the beach. And you can just walk to Time Square and all the restaurants. The breakfast is included and there are a lot of choices-eggs, meat, waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, etc. The kitchenette is a nice option ( we don't usually cook there), and I am very pleased with the beds and pillows. Nice shower and towels. Rooms are updated and always clean. I almost don't want to give it such a good review because I don't want it to be booked up!

This is the 4th visit to the BW at FMB in Florida. We totally love the grounds, pool, and beach and the extra spacious room which we requested. I particularly enjoy the umbrellas and chairs that are placed on the beach daily. We have spent our last 4 vacations at this BW and we just love it. The breakfasts there are fantastic and there are many restaurants within walking distance to the BW. Did I say WE JUST LOVE THIS PLACE. Thanks BW

Perfect place to stay in Fort Myers! Beautiful view on the white sand beach, super clean. Enjoy a relaxing time in family, walk down Time square neat restaurant and outlets after spending the day at the beach. If you are lucky , you may spot a dolphin while you swim! I recommend early mornings and late afternoons to enjoy the scenery...Keep cool by the pool under the sun... We had a great stay...The reason we came is as helping hearts for Surfers For Autism, an organization dedicated to help autistic children.

    « No complaints! »

Best Best Western I've stayed at hands down. Location is excellent, and the staff has helpful. Well taken care of property and updated rooms. Comfy bed and ocean front view! I really can't complain about our stay here. I appreciated a late checkout, and a one-night stay as opposed to the 2 night minimums that a lot of places in the area have.

« Best Overall Hotel Experience! »

We chose this hotel based on previous TripAdvisor.com reviews and I am so glad we did. I do not think we have ever had such an overall great hotel experience while traveling. All their rooms are large and have a balcony which faces the gulf. The rooms include a kitchenette with microwave, sink, refrigerator, etc. A free breakfast is provided each morning with a wide variety of items available. Coffee is always available in the lobby and there are 2 computers and a printer in the lobby business area for personal use. The hotel also has free wi-fi. The parking lot provides ample parking spaces for guests. There is a 7 Eleven a very short distance from the hotel where you can buy snacks, pizza, etc and you are only a couple blocks walk from Ft. Myers Beach Times Square shops and restaurants. The hotel's pool area is large and surrounded by lounge chairs. What impressed me was the fact that upon check in, the desk staff told us they had an electric lift for our handicap daughter to get her into the fenced in pool area and they also had a chair lift to get her in and out of the pool. You can rent beach chairs with an umbrella or a cabana on the beach for a 1/2 day or full day if you like and conveniently charge it to your room. The hotel's grounds are beautiful and kept clean and manicured. We wanted a room on an upper floor and got room #416 which was excellent. The hotel is very relaxing and the staff is top notch. We will most certainly stay here again.

The grounds are always well manicured and the grounds people and the maid service do an excellent job and are very friendly. The pool is always spotless and inviting

« An ok hotel but amazing views »

This is a great location, on a beautiful beach. The room is well equipped with a proper kitchen with hob, microwave, sink, fridge and all the crocks and utensils. We had two american king beds and a sofa bed. Pool nice on the beach. Rooms a bit noisy...air con unit and sliding doors from other rooms. We saw dolphins in the morning! The breakfast was good, lots of choices, although the bacon was thin and tasteless. The staff on check in were a little miserable but the breakfast staff were friendly. Overall a good stay.

« Fun at the Beach »

The accommodations were comfortable, view was spectacular looking out toward the ocean, hotel staff were outstanding. Food in most of the eateries was horrid, not only overpriced but but poorly prepared. Best place: South Beach Grill ; second place :Smok'n Oyster. Worst: all of the time square eateries.

    « Wonderful Beachfront Hotel »

This is a terrific hotel for beachfront access and close proximity to nightlife on Fort Myers Beach. Rooms/facilities were very clean. This hotel caters to both couples and families. The breakfast buffet is handy, however there is no other dining facilities for lunch or dinner.

    « Very accomodating »

Perfect room, overlooking the gulf and Sanabel Island. Room also had a full size refrige, dishes, silverwere, pots and pans. Also a gas grill outside if you happen to pick up a steak or burgers to cook up. Its also within walking distance to the pier and shops on Fort Mayers beach.

« Quite a value, seems calm, quiet compared to others in area »

Best Western improves its rep with this hotel. Tortilla, eggs, sausage breakfast was very tasty. Pool and beach were very nice. Living in FLA gives us oppt'y to visit many resorts....this one may be best value, if a bit higher priced in this traditional, funky beach area.

    « Best vacation ever. »

Best vacation ever. Best Western and the jet skiing and the parasailing was totally awesome. We will definitely return next . The free breakfast was a real bonus. Gary was the guy on the beach who really took care of the umbrellas and any beach related. Great guy!

This hotel has the best water views on the fort Myers Beach. The rooms are very nice too but the bed was very hard and they had the worst pillows my husband and I ever experienced. The breakfast was ok but as previous reviews they need more tables to eat your breakfast at. The night before it rained and all the outdoor tables were wet. It would of helped if they would of dried them off for their hotel guests. We just took our food to our room.

« Perfect vacation made better by Best Westen Plus Beach Resort »

I have not one complaint from our stay here. The staff was amazing, the room was exactly what we needed, and the price was just right. We stayed in room 102 - I highly recommend this room if you're traveling with little kids. It was perfect for easy access to/from the beach. The bathroom was spacious and having the two beds in their own room made naptime peaceful! The breakfast was great and not crowded at all. The location of this hotel from the airport and to resturants/pier was amazing. Less than a 5 minute walk to lots of restaurants (shout out to SOB bar - great food and atmosphere) and little shops. We will be back! Thank you again for a perfect first family vacation!

Georgeous, clean, comfortable. This is a hidden jewel right on the beach. Beach resorts are sometimes a little run down because of the elements. This place is modern and pristine. Nice décor, very nice hot breakfast included in your stay. Quiet, and you can not help but relax. really fast internet too.

    « what a place !!! »

We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed, it's such a fabulous location and the staff and service are 1st class. There was a fire during our stay and the lifts became unusable staff were so professional and calm, we had elderly parents with us and they and another elderly couple were given 1st floor rooms until the lift was up and running. I will definitely be back love it so much. Thank you Best Western for making it great.

« Great place to stay »

Loved my stay here, will definitely be back. When I was ready to leave there was this beautiful double rainbow down into the gulf that just made this stay perfect. I loved the fact that I could walk the beach, walk to the shops and the fun entertainment playing by the restaurants at night. This experience was just what I was looking for on this trip.

« Not more than average, but overpriced »

Decent and reasonably clean beach hotel. Rooms are adequate and reasonably equipped. Breakfast included, simple but okay. However the hotel has no restaurant for lunch or dinner. As such, the hotel is absolutely okay, but given rates of more than USD 100 per person per night we paid, we find it overpriced. Thus our rating.

« Perfect for Our Needs This Trip »

The hotel was everything we wanted at a fair price. Staff was nice and attentive, room was large and comfortable. View of the gulf was goreous, and the hotel sits directly on one of the best beaches I've ever seen.

The hotel is directly on the beach it has fabulous facilities and excellent ,attentive staff. The rooms are very well appointed with kitchen facilities. All rooms have an ocean view and balcony though on the lower floors the view may be restricted by the swimming pool. The pool is raised up and there are lovely gardens on each side with chairs under the palm trees. There are palm trees all along the front . We spent a great deal of time walking on the beach and walked for miles in both directions, there was not another hotel with such a beautiful frontage. An excellent buffet breakfast was provided, with complimentary tea and coffee all the time.

    « Great Beach Hotel! »

Very conveniently located right near the majority of the adventures in Fort Myers. Great staff, super accommodating, very clean, comfortable beds, nice breakfast and a good pool. Also right on the beach and it's a beautiful beach. Great sunsets. It appeared to me that the hotel is designed so that all the room face the ocean. That is really cool. You can walk form here to the center of activity in about 3-5 minutes. Just so you know, the hotel does not have a restaurant (except breakfast) nor a bar. But there are plenty of options just a couple blocks away. I think this place is the best deal on the beach.

« Nice Hotel, slightly over priced. »

The Best Western on Fort Myers beach is a really nice hotel. It's clean, the staff are pleasant and the complimentary breakfast has something for most people. It really is 'right on the beach' and the seafront ground floor rooms are excellent for families that almost want the beach cottage feel. I really can't fault this hotel, except for it's rate card prices being a little high compared to other hotel/motels on Fort Myers Beach. I just don't feel that the extra you pay over some of the other lodgings is justified. As a side note it seems to be most popular with families and older couples rather than younger visitors/couples.

    « Amazing Resort »

This is an awesome hotel located right on Fort Myers Beach. Very clean, beautiful property. Rooms are spacious and have full kitchens. The resort offers a very delicious hot breakfast and it's FREE! You will not be disappointed with this resort which is chalk full of great hospitality.

    « Pretty Average »

We stayed here for five nights as a relaxing break after a stay in Orlando. The hotel has plenty of parking and is on the beach. I think most rooms have a balcony overlooking the beach and they also have a shady bit of garden with chairs if you don't want to be on the beach all the time. It is a short walk to the pier and the town centre. However the hotel struck me as quite dated. No help was offered with our luggage and there is only one lift to the rooms. Rooms are accessed from a covered concrete walkway and once inside are quite small although very clean. The floor was tiled which I liked. I thought the bathroom was cramped and the shower was just this thing like the end of a hose without a nozzle, on the wall over the bath that squirted water. As there was no showerhead it couldn't be adjusted. The bed was rather hard so it was difficult to get comfortable, although the pillows were comfortable and there were lots of them. I did like it that we were given the option of ordering extra pillows, blankets etc and also could say how we wanted the room cleaned (full clean, bins emptied or just tidy up) although I think that was for the hotels benefit rather than the guests. The A/C was very noisy so we either melted or froze at night and dozed rather than slept properly. The kitchenette was good although we were out most of the time but the fridge was useful to keep water (and chocolate!) cold. The hotel does offer free wi fi. Breakfast was help yourself. It was OK but a bit basic and used cardboard plates with plastic cutlery. However you could eat it in the garden which was quite pleasant. On the whole, I think it was very expensive (over 200 dollars a night) for what they offered and I don't think it was value for money. If we do come back to Fort Myers I think we will find somewhere else to stay.
