Plain motel but very clean. Also the breakfast had a good variety. The location is excellent to walk to the beach and local attractions. The price was quite high for this type of accommodation but you save on taxis. We ordered in pizza and were able to use the tables for our meals.

Rented 3 rooms pre cruise with family( total of 8 travellers). Have stayed here seversl times due to the location to beach and restaurants. Rooms are well worn but clean and quiet. Two of our rooms overlooked the pool snd our room overlooked pool of hotel next door- LOL. Breakfast was fine - managed to get a table of 8. Staff attentive tidying. Would definitely stay here again . Check in was easy and used UBER to port - cheaper thsn offered shuttle

We stayed here one night as a family traveling from Canada to our cruise port. We had travelled and stayed here twice before for this purpose. The quality has gone down so much. Our room was filled with ants. When I say filled, I mean it. In the bathroom, on the tv, on the floors, climbing up the walls, in the bed etc you name it there was ants on it. It smelled musty and unclean as well. For one night we paid over $700 Canadian in February not even a popular travel time. Save yourself some money and book anywhere else. Also the pillows are awful and the tv didn't work properly. The pool is decent and the location is good but just pick somewhere else.

This hotel has been around awhile. Pretty well maintained. The staff are great and the location is very good. Close to the beach but no ocean view. Be prepared for it to be crowded on the weekends. Lots of restaurants a short Uber drive away.

Our family enjoyed the heated pool, delicious breakfast and friendly service. The location was great. Nice easy walk to a very large beach. We had a 2nd floor room which went out to a large patio overlooking the pool area. Overall our family had a great time!

Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. They are steps from the beach, a walkable distance to restaurants, shops, water taxi, etc. The staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

We stayed here for 3 days in February 2023 after a cruise. We stayed again for one night this past week (February 2024) this time before a cruise. Both times the property and rooms were clean and staff friendly. Breakfast is busy and standard variety (they do have a sign offering gluten and dairy free options which I thought was so helpful). Pool is nice. Bar food is mediocre at best. We walk down to the beach and eat at the local restaurants when we're there. There is an electric bike rental spot not far so you can rent bikes and venture farther. Walking distance to water taxi if you want to explore. We enjoyed that also. It's a great spot, close to everything. It's not high end (meaning could use new carpets, has some stains) but it's clean, no issues and our go-to place when in town. Only thing - they charge $20+ a day for parking your car there. Last year we flew and didn't have our car. This year we drove and they got me for the $22 car fee. I do like it's at least a security access spot on the side so not easily accessible by those walking by and key card access only.

The hotel is real close to the beach but not on the beach. It has a great complimentary breakfast. The decor is great but you can tell it wasn't redone recently. The building isn't the newest but it is nice enough. Good atmosphere. Close to Jungle Queen.

Loved this Hotel so quiet and peaceful but also so close to the action, about a 15 minute delightful beach walk to the Elbow Room strip. Robert at reception was wonderful! All staff excellent in this clean and comfortable property! Also a great value, 4 star experience at a great price point! Thank you for a wonderful weekend getaway! Buffet breakfast beyond compare!

We checked out of this hotel three nights early because our room was cramped, dirty, and smelled like old feet. While the staff seemed kind and attentive, this hotel needs a whole revamp. They've obviously redone the lobby and breakfast area, but the rest of the hotel is outdated and dirty. We also had no hot water for the first day of our stay. It wouldn't even come out of the tap. I washed my hands in the ground floor bathroom and wasn't able to get the soap off as there was no water at all. While we didn't have roaches in our room (that I saw, anyway), three of our friends (in three separate rooms) checked out immediately upon entering the rooms and seeing multiple roaches on the walls and lamps. The location of the hotel was good if you're hoping to enjoy the beach -- it's a three-minute walk away. But the hotel is quite loud as it's on a busy road. Breakfast was okay and had gluten- and dairy-free options, which was nice. The staff were friendly and seemed generally helpful, although we had to fight to leave three nights early without a penalty. Considering the state of the room and our friends' rooms, they should have definitely understood and never attempted to charge us a penalty.

Staff is very helpful when you arrive early. We had to wait for our room and were told that we could use the pool while we waited. Friendly staff. Needed a taxi for 8 people and the front desk helped us out. Breakfast is one of the best and included in the price. A huge variety of items to choose from including making your own waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, fruit, etc. All was very good.

Please don't think you are getting a good deal when you book at the Best Western. This is a very tired looking hotel. The prices for hotels is high in Fort Lauderdale, but this one is NOT worth it. Roaches are in the rooms and hall ways. Who knows about the kitchen where the breakfast is made! The halls are dirty the rooms are tired, the bathroom in tiny and there is not much storage. There were 3 of us staying for 3 nights and it was crowded in the room. There is no view of the beach or ocean, though it is only a few steps away. There are no beach amenities, so you have to sit on your tiny beach towel or rent from the bigger hotels next door. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more to stay on the beach or stay outside the city and drive to the beach....not worth it!

This is my 3rd stay at this Best Western, and it is reliably the best value for the location. Clean, updated and welcoming. Breakfast and dinner are both good, and 3 minute walk to the Ft Lauderdale beach. All staff excellent, as was the case the last two times (from Front desk, to bar, to breakfast staff).

We had one night in this hotel before flying back to the UK and it ticked all the boxes. We arrived way before check in but they let us have our room as it was ready. The room had everything you needed for a comfortable stay including a microwave. The free breakfast was good and we sat by the pool for the afternoon being entertained by the iguanas that presumably live there. Staff were very helpfu. The only downside was that the hotel restaurant wasn't open on the night we stayed.

Great place for the value, only steps away from the beach. I travel for work but at the end of the day I need a place where I can relax and this hotel did it. Will definitely be back, parking prices are affordable for being on the beach which is a plus.

The staff alone is why you should stay. The breakfast was yummy. The rooms were clean. The restaurant downstairs is cozy and clean. The pool was clean and you even got free views of the native iguana! I loved everything about this hotel!

Great staff, clean rooms, convenient location. I'll definitely stay here again. Only downside was the air in the room wasn't as cool as I'd like it. We called maintenance but the temperature didn't go down any. The hallway was cooler than our room (510)

Was pleasantly surprised by the refurbishment of this hotel. They have and are still putting a lot of effort into updating it and doing a great job! The hotel is bright, colorful and cheerful. The staff is friendly and welcoming. My double room was newly renovated and though you could see remnants of the former interior, it was bright, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and seemed to have a higher quality than many Best Western hotels I've visited. The pool and deck were nice and clean and there was plenty of parking. Though I did not eat at the restaurant, the menu seemed adequate. The hotel is within a 15 minute walk or 3-4 minute drive to all the restaurants and bars on the strip and it's a nice walk along the beach to these, and a 10 minute drive to everything on 17th street. The room rate was very reasonable for hotels on the beach and I will definitely stay there again.

On Tuesday 5th September 2023 I had the great privilege of speaking with Marissa the Front Desk Supervisor of the Best Western Plus Ocean Side Inn Fort Lauderdale FL. We have not yet stayed at this quaint beach front hotel, but we will be now! I was searching around looking for a two night stay in Fort Lauderdale for November 2023 as my family will be on a Cruise Extravaganza leaving from Port Everglades Cruise Port, just a few minutes away. I always like to call the front desk of Hotels to see if I can book directly with the hotel instead of online and on this day I had success. When I called the front desk Marissa answered and immediately her welcoming and friendly voice had me at hello. Marissa was able to take some time with me to explain the different types of rooms and the amenities that the Best Western has and that was greatly appreciated. Her customer service was A+++ and I look forward to staying at the Best Western Oceanside Inn in November. Thank you Marissa! P.S. You should be promoted to V.P. of Customer Service.

At arrival the staf open the parking as it was raining and we didnt even check in i call the reception and the employee open the door as the parking entrance to the hotel only open with the key to the door. She was verry friendly and answer all of our qquestions also have discount on the parking cost that was a plus. The facilities are in ok conditions as the building is old but the rooms were nice and clean some details i the bathroom like the towel hanger been loose the pipe in the washer been broken and put together. The breakfast was good the ladies at the breakfast area were really nice and helpful and the pool was clean. With some remodeling the hotel will exceed all your expectations but the friendly staff make the diference. I will definitly stay again.

The location is very good, the breakfast is very reasonable. The only two things I mentioned could be better: strong smell of chlorine in the towels, and they should refill products during breakfast to guarantee availability. Other than that, great stay.

This was my third time staying here but I didn't really enjoy this stay. The A/C unit was leaking and didn't cool well… the maintenance guys don't want to be bothered I felt like.Breakfast is good with many options. $21 a day parking fee…in the summer should give 2 bottles complimentary water bottles coz it's too hot!Don't get room by pool if you want privacy too many stares when you walk out the room

The hotel has potential but it needs alot of work. The structure is deteriorating. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was colder than one would need to be comfortable. The beach is right behind the hotel and this made up for the hotel and is why I gave it 4/5 stars.

Best thing was the breakfast! The refrigerator in the room wasn't working, I called the front desk twice and both times was placed on a lengthy hold. I ended up walking down to the front desk to address the matter. It was then resolved in a timely matter.

We stayed for an international judo tournament, as did many other teams from around the world. The staff outdid themselves handling such a large and varied group for almost a week. Our rooms were what was expected and amenities were just right for this size property. The WiFi was a little sub-par, but with a packed hotel, I can understand. The entrance is a little tricky, watch for cars. Perfect central location to Ft Lauderdale attractions and beaches. Overall, a great and convenient spot to stay for anyone from individuals to international judo teams :)

Arrived at 1 am. Got to my room and the beds were stripped and blankets and pillows on chairs. One towel in the bathroom. Had to call the front desk and wait for them to send someone up with a new room key. The “upgrade” for the inconvenience was going from a private balcony to a shared balcony where the shades didn't close all the way and I got to wake up to people sitting outside my room so I couldn't even open the shades. I was comped my parking for the inconvenience but no other solutions were offered.

I really enjoyed my stay at BW Oceanside. There is a small walk to the beach that takes a couple minutes, but it is worth it! Loved the Pool and lounge area. We used the bar area and had food there as well. The staff was all very hard working and wanted to do a good job. We'd very much love to come back! The location is always an very cheap Uber ride to hot spots, or you can walk which we did. There was a the "Water Taxi" stop about a 7m walk away which is super cool to do and i highly recommend.

Good selection of hot and cold items for breakfast, comfortable and clean bed and bath and a balcony with a peekaboo view of the beach was a plus. Parking was convenient and at a reasonable $20. Would definitely recommend.

We came before the check in time after a early flight and we were greeted by Anna who was very welcoming and showed us hospitality while staying. During our stay C.J. at the front desk was very kind to us and gave us tremendous help when our flight got canceled. We also loved the breakfast and the room was very nice and clean! The beach was very close to the hotel also. We look forward to coming back here in the future and telling our friends and family about this hotel!

This Best Western had very accommodating and helpful staff. They made our stay seamless. The included breakfast was delicious. We needed a taxi in the morning to get to the airport and they called for us. We arrived very early in the morning and they let us store our luggage till our room was ready.

This hotel was perfect! The beach was right around the corner. Nightlife was walking distance. Perfect location for taking the water taxi . We liked the breakfast and the cute lizards at the pool. The rooms were very cute! We had a nice balcony over looking the pool. We would stay here again.

This hotel changed our loyalty to Marriott. We enjoyed the breakfast, location and the staff was great! We would definitely come back again! They also have onsite reasonable parking. The amenities were awesome and we were very pleased with our experience!

Beautiful location for a quick getaway. Excellent customer service from Robert from the get-go. He made the stress of travel seem like a breeze. My first visit and he gave wonderful recommendations. Cannot wait to come back after the holidays with the girls.

Excellent customer service. Really appreciated CJ at front desk. He was very friendly and accommodating. Love the continental breakfast, which is better than most. and that we can easily walk to beach. The rooms are spacious as well.

Anna at the front desk was amazing and took care of us from the moment we stepped in by heling us store our luggage and being in constant communication with updates on our room. Anna went up and beyond with her hospitality and made us feel like we were staying with close friends.

The hotel I didn't like , but the staff are amazing , the breakfast ladies, Ana and CJ from the front desk and Robert the supervisor. For them I give 5 stars . They are so helpful and kind, they did everything for us.

It started with a very kind and understanding staff. We got off our cruise at 9 am arrived at the hotel at 10 am. The staff said please wait till we have a room cleaned for you . And invited us to sit out by the pool. It was less than an hour and we got checked in

Overall a great place to stay. Easy access, in a great area, great complimentary breakfast, clean facilities and room, free wifi, free indoor parking. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Apparently my review has to be 200 characters long but I can't think of anything else to say. Maybe I could tell you what color the walls and carpeting are or something like that! Oh, there were some cool pictures on the walls in the 5th floor hallway. There ... hit the 200 character minimum !!

Our stay was fantastic. The rooms, amenities, staff… ALL FANTASTIC! Our flight was delayed TWICE, and we had checked out already. The staff(CJ and specifically the young lady with the braces that checked my sister in) went ABOVE and beyond to further accommodate us until it was time for us to go to the airport. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!! The location is approximately 2 minutes walking distance from the beach. Towels are available at the front desk. There's no shuttle but Ubers are easily available and there was plenty to do and eat nearby. A couple of us are vegan and there were awesome restaurants nearby(10 minutes driving/30-40 minutes walking). We know where we're staying when we come back to Fort Lauderdale.

The building is very old, run down, dated, and not kept up well. Lots of rust and peeling paint. Drapes that don't close. Parking garage is quite frightening at night. Great location and great breakfast

Nicely updated hotel in a very good location with an even better staff! We just endured multiple delays to our cruise while we waited out hurricane Nicole, and the Oceanside allowed us to extend our stay and even checkout a little late while we waited for our ship to dock. Top notch service (thanks to Anna and Marina!), really good breakfast, and nice warm pool…we will be back!

Absolutely fantastic experience at the Oceanside Inn. Every person from the check in agent, bartender, restaurant manager, maids, maintenance people were so friendly and helpful. I have a foot and ankle problem and they provided a wheelchair for me and helped me open doors, always smiling and asking me if I needed anything. This is a small property but it was like a family. They do provide an excellent hot buffet breakfast every morning. Just about anything you can think of to eat is on it. FREE! Rooms have a frig, microwave and coffee maker. I will stay there again and I do recommend this property to everyone.

We love staying at this amazing hotel Every time we are in Fort Lauderdale. From the friendly and accommodating staff to the delicious breakfast and close proximity to everything that we love to do in the area we have never had a bad experience at this hotel. I highly recommend giving it a try.

So my boyfriend & I were celebrating our 3 year anniversary. I rented the room as a stay cation since everything else was recently destroyed by hurricane ian. This isn't my first negative experience with this hotel. The first was 2 years ago & the manager was very apologetic so I figured if I gave it enough time things might have been better. Not exactly. So, they let me check in early which I appreciated & offer free late check out, also appreciated. I checked in decorated the hotel room & went to pick up my bf. Came back and we ate and went to lay down. Mind you until this point no one had gotten in the bed. I laid in the middle and felt like the center of the bed was sinking in. I said to my bf, something feels off about the bed. He told me that he would call down stairs and mention it. He spoke to Bernie the frost desk supervisor and he explained that he didn't want us to be blamed which was why we were mentioning it. Bernie said he'd make a note, but there wasn't really any other king suites. Which I had also been told earlier. Anyway around 10:30 we fell asleep. Almost exactly an hour later there was a harsh clunk & then a second clunk as the whole bed collapsed to the ground, hitting my head on the wall. My bf and I were both shocked. I went down and was met by a totally different person who was very sympathetic and switched us to a king suite and told us we wouldn't be charged. I then had to take a maintenance man upstairs to show him what was wrong despite having had photos to show. Then we moved rooms at nearly midnight. At 8 a.m. we were awakened by a cleaning person banging on the door over & over asking us why we were in that room it was supposed to be vacant. We explained and she left saying the front desk didnt communicate anything. But no apology for waking us up.11 a.m. I go to check out. I am talking to a young lady who is in training I tell her we were.to be receiving a refund. She says I'd have to wait on the supervisor. A few minutes later Bernie the same supervisor we reported the broken bed too from last night appears . He tells me that I'll have to wait a few days for someone to.follow up with me regarding a refund. I told him I didn't trust him because there appeared to a lack of communication. After some back & forth I left and called priceline. They called the hotel & were.told they had to wait as well. About 2 hours later Bernie called me and told me that they had approved the refund. It ended okay but 2 strikes, and never again

Nice place, staff are so friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beach. Pool was fun, family of iguanas amused us. Breakfast was fantastic! So much to choose from, and the staff are so friendly (I remember Suzanna, and all the others were nice as well). Beds comfortable, clean rooms, efficient cleaning. Great price for the amenities. Short walkalong the beach to restaurants and shops. We will be back!

Booked this hotel months ago to take a relaxing vacation, was never contacted by the hotel or 3rd party booking agent. On arrival at the hotel I was told that there was extensive construction going on and the Sun deck was out of use. This made the pool area dirty and noisy. Although open it was Virtually unusable. Due to the noise we could not use the pool area, the jackhammering and debris and dust made that impossible. This hotel is showing its age, but the staff are friendly and helpful (to a point) the breakfast area is well stocked and has hot fresh food items. But still using plastic knives and forks and cardboard plates. The bar area is minimal but well stocked, the bar man ( Edwin) makes a good cocktail, but come on a $13 drink served in a plastic glass. At least give the guy proper glasses to make proper drinks The location is poor a 15-20 walk to get to other bars and restaurants. Although close to the beach there are better hotels to be found. DO NOT STAY HERE UNTILL YOU CAN BE ASSURED THAT THE CONSTRUCTION HAS FINISHED

I stayed here with our family hoping for some down time. Overall we had a good experience with the hotel. I know some reviews say the staff was rude. Personally I took it as they were being professional in their job. I had no issues with the staff. The pool area was nicely spread out. Pool. towels were readily available and plenty of seating. Breakfast was good as it always has a variety. Housekeeping was also on point. Needed something, they took care of it. Although many stated the location being ideal, I somewhat question that. In proximity to the beach, you had to walk around the 'B' resort to the public parking area to access the beach, (10 minute walk). There were no amenities for guests at this end of the beach. If you required a restroom or changing facilities, you would have to do it from your hotel. At night I question the 'safety' of the area. It is much darker at this end. There are not many shops as you would expect in this area. The parking lot becomes a 'hang-out' for groups that even I as a New Yorker felt uncomfortable. From a driving prospective, you can easily get to the highway from this location without driving through the many local roads. I was not a fan of the costs for parking ($21+ per night), nor the bar drinks were way over priced, ($15). Yet they strictly enforce not allowing outside food or drink. If you are looking for a base of operations that you would be traveling to and from, this is an ideal location. If you want beach and the amenities or like to walk around at night, I wouldn't recommend it.

At check-in, the front desk staff person was rude and abrupt. However, every front desk staff person I encountered moving forward was delightful and helpful. The room was dirty and needed an intense deep cleaning, especially the bathroom. Im sure staffing is limited, and the cleaning person is overworked, but on cleaning day, she failed to leave wash clothes in our room, a fundamental need to shower. Also, the duvet cover on my bed was filthy; it had dirt marks all over it. Then there was a mix-up with our check-out days, so the cleaning woman opened the door because she thought the room was empty. When I explained that we did not check out, a back and forth ensued, so I told her to contact the front desk and lay back down. About an hour later, she opened the door again, then about thirty minutes later, she knocked to exchange the linens. It wasn't an enjoyable stay between the dirt and the cleaning lady. Also, the parking deck sensor to open the gate does not work. I had a lot of issues with that, along with the elevator. It wasn't me either; I encountered other guests with the same problem.

We requested a room with a view from the balcony. We got it. Just a peep but nice. The hotel is very clean. I had read some negative reviews but couldn't find any. It is a short 2 block walk to the beach and a short walk to the Jungle Queen attraction. We walked there and back and felt very safe. The free breakfast had quite a variety, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, ham, sausage, biscuits and gravy, a yogurt machine, asst muffins, breads and bagels, asst cereal, waffle makers, delicious coffee, asst juices and more. The very clean dining area overlooks the pool.

Room was small. View was overlooking parking lot, not marina. No hair dryer in room. We were not advised of a $45 parking fee. Had to pay a resort fee of $37 we did not use. We were aware of it, but did not use it. All in all we were very disappointed. The hotel seemed fine, but our room and the hidden costs were disappointing.

We had a great stay at this hotel, for the price and the convenience of the location to where our Beach National VB was located. It was a great value, and the staff, were amazing. Edwin, our bartender kept us happy and fed - and the front staff always helped us with every need right down to providing umbrellas, sand toys and beach chairs, the cleaning staff were totally on top of everything at all times, the pool was kept up nicely and everyone was great to us there. Would definetly return. having a shared patio with the other rooms in our group was also a plus, with a full balcony and patio doors it was very convenient to go in and out of your room and visit with others in our group on the patio.

Regret booking here! If you can avoid it save yourself the frustration. The drain in our shower did not work properly. The tub would fill up in about a minute and would take 5 mins just to drain. We booked this hotel for a 4 night stay so my kids can participate in US Open Judo. The refrigerator DID NOT WORK. Called for maintenance and he looked us in the face and said “it's not a refrigerator it's more like a cooler which is baffling since the amenities listed state refrigerator not “cooler” We asked him to swap it out and he brought us another one without even inspecting it first, when he brought it inside and we opened the door it smelled of rotten fish. They can't rate this a 3 star hotel it should say 2 star at best. Will never book again.

Beds very hard. Had backache after two nights. TV selection very poor. No stations that carry the Rays or Marlins baseball games. Keys to rooms and parking garage did not work smoothly. No view of ocean or intercoastal from room or balcony.

This is an older hotel that could use a few updates. It has clean rooms , a very friendly staff , and an excellent location. Less than a 3 minute walk from the beach. They serve a continental breakfast and have a bar/grill. The food is pretty good.

The Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn is a very nice hotel. The public spaces and my room were clean and looked new and fresh. The staff were very friendly. Parking is easily accessible under the hotel and it is within walking distance to most of the activities you might want to do in Ft. Lauderdale. The Pool is nice and the view from the room, while you cannot actually see the beach, is also all very nice. My room looked over the pool. I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to experience Ft. Lauderdale for a vacation. The price and very close proximity to the beach makes this a great value.

We would definitely stay at this hotel again! It offers hot breakfast with lots of variety, daily housekeeping, great location in proximity to the beach, restaurants and shops (we walked everywhere), and a nice pool area! The value is great, IMO. You get more here for less money than neighboring hotels. Rooms are nice and beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here!!

We been staying here for our 8th year in a roll the staff and the hotel manager carolina are like an extended family thats why we stay there we just love staying there the location of the hotel next to the beach and especially the breakfast

Comfortable accommodations steps from the beach at a reasonable price. Hotel has a 'family' vibe and we had a sundeck room which allowed us to extend the room and have drinks/snacks outside and access to loungers overlooking the pool. Room was comfortable; not fancy, but modern enough and sufficient space for four travelers with luggage. Breakfast was great, with lots of selection and friendly and helpful attendants who kept things clean and re-stocked. Front desk staff were also helpful and lots of parking available on two levels. Many good restaurant choices within 15 min walking distance and lots more within a short drive. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Fort Lauderdale.

Had a great time. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was tasty and different everyday. I loved the pool wish it was open later. The female bartender is a boss at what shes does, the food from the bar was great but it closes to early. Marisa, Regina and the other young lady doing my check out excellent! Most of the front desk staff was friendly. Will definitely stay again

Room was dirty in general and bathroom sink and tub had problems draining. Furniture was sticky. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Nice pool area, could use new umbrellas as most had holes. Pool deck was also dirty.

I have stayed with best Western a few times and never had a bad experience but this past experience was terrible. I reveled with my boyfriend, my family and my friends due to us having a wedding in fort laurderdale easter weekend. The maid services were extremely rude. I did not get a maid to service my room for 3 out of the 4 days we stayed. Keep in mind I paid a lot of money this past weekend due to it being A holiday weekend and considering I had a suite for the weekend!! The maids did not come for 3 days during my stay…we had wet towels piled up, trash piled up and we had to use the pool towels so we could take a shower. After complaining to the front desk they said they would send a maid immediately and no one came until about 430/5 o'clock. At this time it was too late and we had to get ready due to us having a wedding this weekend and dinner reservations on Easter. They then sent what I presume to be a manager to our room. She was extremely rude and was not helpful at all. Instead of offering any assistance or even apologizing for the inconvenience she then made a smart remark and walked away. I've never had this problem at the best Western before. They did not offer any accommodations for their mess up but instead ignored the problem till the duration of my stay was over. By the end of my stay our room smelled like wet tails and garbage and garbage so bad that we had to make a pile outside of the hotel room because we could not stand it in the room anymore. I also talked to a few rooms that weekend Who were also having problems with the maid services not coming to their rooms and how rude they were when they saw them. I am extremely disappointed in the best Western Oceanside for this terrible experience and for not even an apology.

Chose this hotel based on other reviews and glad I did. Great location, short walk to the beach. Breakfast was really good, waffles eggs sausage and cold items as well. The hotel was exactly as described and a great deal compared to other hotels in the area.

Best Western is a good hotel to stay at Fort Lauderdale if you're looking for a place close to the beach and restaurant/bar. Budget friendly, serves free delicious breakfast. Staffs are courteous and approachable.

Stayed for 2 nights prior to cruising. Hotel was very clean and staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Everything highly exceeded our expectations. Food was great and there were many choices. Highly recommend !

Great location, great area, literally on the beach, perfect swiming pool the kids enjoyed staying atvthe pool after a day at the beach. Lovely breakfast, the fruit eas fresh and diferent every day, bagles, hard boiled eggs, fresh tomato slices, wafles. The hotel was clean, and had polite staff. Everything was great. Highly recomended.

Came to stay for a wedding at the neighboring Marriott. Chose this site for a cheaper stay. Not located on the ocean. Pricey for location and amenities. Free breakfast was included and a good selling point.

the location right near the beach was great, it would be nicer if we could access it from our hotel and not have to walk as far. the staff at breakfast were really really nice . the rooms needs alot of updating , and they need to make sure they clean the sheets and not just make the bed . bathrooms are super small . could be a great hotel if attended to

Upon arrival to this hotel, we were told there was no parking. I had to send my kids upstairs while I drove to find parking. Upon entering the eighth floor there is a distinct unbearable smell of urine. I thought ugh oh my!!! Once entering my room my son who is asthmatic was coughing up a lung. I went to open the window and it was screwed shut. I called down to front desk for assistance to have a room change in order for my son to breathe effectively. They put me on hold and eventually hung up on me. I called back and there was no answer. I walked down to the front desk to be greeted by a very rude customer service lady who told me two supervisors said I was in the room for over 40 minutes and therefore there is nothing they could do. Well I explained I was out looking for parking. I asked to have a room with a window that I could open at least for the night as it was about 7pm and was rudely told I could leave the hotel and be only charged one of the three nights I had paid for!!!!! This is how they treated my son!!!!!! They did not care about his health. I had to drive my son 45 minutes away to stay with a family member at another hotel. Our vacation was RUINED!!! This hotel is terrible at customer service.

We had a great trip; in town for a wedding. The location was great; super close to the beach. Quiet room and a lovely little breakfast each day. Pool was nice too! Warm water but perfect for those New Englanders running away from the cold.

Went for spring break- usually hotels are awful & helicopter young adults/ college students (I get it) but we all had fun and felt the hotel was perfect. Rooftop deck above pool was awesome. Room was clean, got to check in early, great location to strip / bars

I stayed here one month ago and the desk staff that checked me in, provided free parking. I was impressed and came back. The next experience was terrible. Lashanda was working but not at the front desk. After a few minutes she wandered back. She told me there was a charge for parking and I told her that I called Priceline to check about parking and in addition, the last time I stayed it was complementary. She told me that would never happen and there is no free parking in Fort Lauderdale. I stay in Fort Lauderdale about 30 nights per year in hotels and only about half have parking fees. I don't mind parking fees in nice hotels or where there is valet parking, but the Best Western is kind of a dump and I only stayed here because it was cheap, as I arrived late and had to leave early in the morning. Lashanda was rude and condescending. Employees can make or break an experience. I will never stay here again. There are many better options for the same or slightly more money.

Hotel was clean but you could tell it was an older hotel. Rooms were small and bathrooms needed caulking around the edges. There was a musty smell in the hallways. They kept the A/C on blast to mask the smell. Overall the $300+ cost for the room was way over the value received.

We stay here before cruising out of Port Everglades, every time. We like how close it is to Las Olas beach, love the food in the lounge and enjoy breakfast. You can rent bicycles and take a ride down Sunset. It's a lovely, safe area and we will be back again.

We had a lovely stay and we loved the layout which was easy for my mom and daughter to navigate. We loved the breakfast buffet and we walked to dinner at Bo Beach and the Salty Siren. We also took the bikes out. The beach was a little bit of a walk for my mom.

The hotel was very nice. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor pool and sun deck. Continental breakfast was included and similar to other hotels and the food was very good. Hotel had a bar/ grill and the food and service was very good. Friendly and professional staff. This will be my go to hotel whenever I am in the Fort Lauderdale area. Walking distance to the beach. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location. Reasonable price in comparison to neighboring hotels. Parking seems expensive at $21 a day. When my daughter went down to ask for toilet paper the clerk said” ,We will let housekeeping know.” My daughter let her know that we really needed it now, the clerk said, “ I'll let housekeeping know” There was no line of people so this was really poor customer service. We had asked for shampoo the previous evening and that gentleman was kind enough to give us some. I had to track down someone in housekeeping to get the toilet paper. That was ridiculous. Overall a nice trip except for the few glitches.

Reservation was for my wife prior to her flight being cancelled due to snow in Chicago. The hotel refused to cancel the res because it was within 72 hours of her stay. No flexibility for an act nature.

The hotel is about 10 miles from the airport $27 cab ride. Room was clean, pool was small, but clean and warm. No need for a car, everything very walk-able. Front desk person was very direct (not very personable). A suggestion would be a vending machine or access to water/soft drinks in the lobby area.

We spend a lot of time in hotels and I cannot recommend this one. Dated, feels dirty, and the staff are pretty awful. The two exceptions are the front desk and the fact that they have an EV charger. These are the only two positives I can report.

Great location and staff. Friendly accommodating. Was here on a family get away. Pool very clean. Room was clean. Had patio room. Josie at the lounge was great. Relaxing atmosphere. Close to restaurants. Close to airport if your using beach and local restaurants you really don't need a car

With only a few hiccups that really weren't big enough to deter anyone stay, we had a really nice visit! I would choose this property again if I were to go back to ftLauderdale. Best Western is always my first choice!

The hotel is dated and in need of an upgrade. It shows it's age on the inside. We had to use the parking lot elevator as the front one was out of order. The biggest concern was the cleanliness of the room as it certainly didn't smell fresh. Not sure if there had been smokers in the room or if the carpet needed cleaning. But the smell certainly made you suspect the cleanliness. .

Our family of 4 chose this hotel due to the proximity to the beach & the free breakfast. I have 2 growing teenage boys that eat a lot at breakfast and this was one of the best we have ever had. Each day there was a variety of options. Always waffles and eggs and then meats, cereals, fruit ect.. The hotel is not on the beach but behind a hotel on the beach. We found you can walk right to the beach from the hotel or you can drive down a block and park at the public beach. The bigger hotels have areas that are for their guests only and they have chairs for their guests. We found we were able to pay the guys some cash & got 2 chairs and an umbrella. My kids enjoyed the pool daily. It was never packed, maybe 12 people in there at the most. More than that & it would feel very full. There were alway fresh towels being put out. You can walk less than a mile down the road and you'll find restaurants, bars and ice cream shops. It is a dark walk at night and a lot of people are out, I would not be comfortable if I had been walking alone at night. Our two queen room was on the small side with very little storage. Bathroom is also very small and no storage. This could be an issue for people who spend a lot of time in their room or are traveling with a lot of luggage. We only had 1 suitcase and 4 backpacks and we still had to be strategic on where we put stuff so we could move around. We had one of the rooms with a balcony. Again, very small balcony but 2 of us would squeeze out there and enjoy the sun and fresh air. I am a super sensitive sleeper and I did not hear anyone, ever, while I was sleeping! Elevators always worked and room was clean. Overall very happy with our stay, if the room was a little bigger to fit our family it would have been perfect!

Escaped the cold in NY for a quick weekend trip and chose BW b/c it was the most affordable place with decent reviews close to the beach. Yes, there was a pot smell in the halls on the first day; yes the elevator was broken, but the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was the best free breakfast I've ever had (and meals are pricey in Ft. Lauderdale), the pool was nice and warm, and the staff was really nice. Food and drinks at the bar were pricey and most of the machines in the gym didn't work but all in all it was a major bargain and I would 100% stay there again.

I booked a last minute trip to Ft Lauderdale to escape the cold at home. The Best Western was perfect, it had everything I needed for my warm get away. It was located on the beautiful beach, and was a few minutes walk on the main strip to all the fun beach bars and restaurants. I will be returning, soon!!

Perfect location on the beach and close to Las Olas and the main A1A strip, the BW Plus Oceanside is definitely a hidden gem. Fast, friendly service, accommodating staff, amazing breakfast (included!), beautiful pool and upper sundeck, and clean rooms that are serviced daily. Also, the best pillows of any hotel! Will definitely be returning here very soon!

First, I would stay here again, so all the negative I'm going to list wasn't that bad. But, it was far from ideal. We had such a bad experience on the first night of our trip (the only other hotel we stayed at, which was also a Best Western), that it was nice to have someone so friendly at the front desk when I checked in. She was friendly, and seemed to care, which was rare. Anyway, the hotel is older, but fine, and the room was okay. Things unraveled from there. As seems to be pretty common now, there was a smoke detector in the hall that needed a new battery. It shows how little they care about maintenance to not take care of such a simple thing. Then, at check-out, the complete opposite of the person that checked us in was there. Just rude, and couldn't have cared less. Again, the place is fine, but if you're paying much for it, maybe look elsewhere. This hotel was in the perfect location for a music festival we attended on the beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast was fantastic. The bar in the lobby is also a nice added bonus. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

What I liked the most was the pool. The water is nice and warm. They added palm trees and other greenery which gives it a good ambiance. The hotel staff was very nice and efficient. The air-conditioning in the room was a little loud. I ended up with a room which connects which I hate because of the noise issue. Thankfully our neighbors were quiet after 10pm. Close to the beach but unfortunately an event was coming up and part of the beach was closed off. The area for breakfast is nice.

We have stayed at this hotel several times before this stay. Just wish it had a restaurant where you could get 3 meals if so wanted. We ordered and had food delivered because we did not rent a car and Sun pass busses don't seem to be running any longer. Room was clean and never had to ask for extra towels. We will stay at this Best Western again.

This spot is excellent in location if you're getting on or off a cruise ship. The pool and outside area is nice. The breakfast is good. The hotel decor is very tired (unmaintained) and the repair and maintenance was lacking. There are two elevators on location. The back elevator was never working when we stayed. I don't think it is ever used. That means all of the service staff have to use the front elevator (off of the lobby) to take carts of laundry etc. We had to wait in line to get the elevator when we checked in, behind the maintenance man and his tool cart (which took up his own elevator) so we had to wait for a very slow (and old) elevator to get to our room. Later that afternoon the elevator was signed that it was not in service. We were on the fifth floor, so we had to use the stairs every time we went out. When we asked at the desk if they were doing anything for the guests that were unconvinced, the answer was NO. So, for 12 hours, there were NO ELEVATORS to service the 6 story hotel.

Cannot see the ocean from the hotel but it's a very short walk and for the price it was okay. There were a few issues with my stay and the water is a brown/yellow in the room and at breakfast which is concerning. Staff was mostly very friendly but didn't address any issues we had

When we get into our first room, there was a glass covering to the light fixture on the wall that was missing and they had to move us for electrical problems. Then we get into our new room unpack and the bathroom sink plug was not even attached to anything and u couldn't open it to drain the sink with out putting something underneath it to keep it open and drain. Then to top it off, the night before check out the elevator in the parking lot broke down so only one operating one in the building on opposite end of our room, this would have been fine but then we woke up for checking out and walked to other end of the hotel to get elevator and the buttons weren't working and the light said G but no signs anywhere letting you know it was broken and when I get downstairs to tell them it's broken they simply look up and tell me “we know we called it in.” No response was given so I took my load to the car went back upstairs to bring my family down and there was still no sign to communicate anything. My husband uses a cane and could barely make it down the stairs but we had to be on our way. This hotel is called “Plus” but I have no idea what the plus is for in this location except being conveniently next to the beach.

After a horrible experience at a hotel down the road we gave best western a call, they were able to get us two rooms ready in minutes! Clean rooms, amazing breakfast selection (even with covid protocols), just a quick walk from the beach!

When we first arrived we were given a room that was supposed to be for non smokers but the room smelled like weed. There was hair in the sink, toilet, and bathtub like it hadn't been cleaned. The drain was clogged up as well. Later that night we got another room and that room did not smell like weed but there was still hair everywhere and the drain in this room was even worse. While bathing, I had to turn off the water in between washing so that the bathtub wouldn't keep filling up. The people at the front desk were very helpful and nice, location was good, walking distance to the beach, and breakfast was delicious but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I will not be staying here again.

This hotel is ok, nothing over the top though. No beach view at all even though it says it has it. The one room that has it is a small glimpse of the ocean. The room was nice and clean, I had a walk in shower which was nice, the internet was fast a free. It's a cool spot if you just trying to stay somewhere quick cheap and close to the beach but don't expect a five star hotel because it is not that. The elevators are slow and janky, I was afraid everytime. They nickle & dime you for everything so bring your own supplies. They did let me check-in about an hour early so that was great. They put a $250 deposit hold on my account but did not tell me that this was going to happen prior to my arrival AND it takes five business days to go back into your account. I hate this the most, its like a hidden fee. Like I said, its a cool spot if you trying to beach in and out and somewhat close to the beach.

Upon checking in on Sept the 2nd we attended our room on the 5th floor. We were tired from our flight and turned back the bed sheets to have a nap. The bed sheet looked like a dog had slept on it. Ground in dirt stains and human hair. We called down to the front desk for cleaning services however, they were gone for the day but the gentlemen brought up fresh clean sheets at which time we made our own bed. Upon entering the washroom we immediately noticed ants inside the toilet everywhere. Also ants coming out of the tiled floor baseboards (I have video). So we again called down and a gentlemen came up and sprayed for the insects. We explained all this to the management at the desk who did apologize and explained he'd pass it on to his manager. We received a credit of $78 CAD on our credit card. We further reviewed this with the management at the from desk upon check out who only could say "Sorry". We liked the location, room (minus the cleanliness) and staff. We feel that $78 CAD credit on a $2000 CAD invoice is insulative. Ask yourself if you'd be happy under these circumstances? We understand things aren't perfect all the time but be reasonable on trying to recover some business.

Very disappointed with this hotel's cleanliness and service. The front desk associate Marsa was rude both times I approached the desk. I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first time, but when I approached the second time and she was just as ugly as the first, I knew it needed to be reported. The linen on the bed had dried up blood on it, bathroom walls were filthy, and underneath the beds were not clean. I am very disappointed.

Everything was amazing!! And those beds are soooo comfy!! We always stay at Best Western in Hallandale Beach, but this one is amazing!! Right on the strip!! Will definitely be booking again!! Amazing amazing amazing!

Overall we had a great time here! Pros: The staff was extremely friendly. The continental breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean. Walk in shower was HUGE. Staff was continuously cleaning and sanitizing community areas. Seeing iguanas was exciting. Cons: The bar is closed Monday, Tuesday and maybe Wednesday. Our AC wasnt working as well as we would like but it was still doable. When they say partial ocean view, it's extremely partial because there is a hotel in-between BW and the beach so it's a few minute walk to the beach. There is a $20 a night parking fee we didn't know about it which caught be off guard especially because I booked straight from BW but it was worth it knowing our car was locked in a parking garage that used a key card to get in and out of . Overall we extremely satisfied will definitely come back.

During my stay, guests were constantly smoking pot on their balconies. This wafted into the room through the ac/heating wallunit. The hotel is well situated, and the staff is fantastic. But it is in dire need of a complete renovation.

To start off we originally wanted 2 rooms and we were given one and they wouldn't give us the room we originally wanted and tried to charge us $500 extra dollars just for one night. Also, we came into the room and the bathroom was atrocious.. hair was on the floor, toilet, sink, and the shower. First thing we saw was the bathroom so who even knows what the beds look like and how well they cleaned it. When i went downstairs to go speak to the employees about the situation, she had an attitude with us. I do not recommend coming here at all. Employees are rude and it's not clean annnnnd they add extra charges out of nowhere for no reason.

The front desk staff and kitchen attendants were all fantastic! The beach was a 5 minute walk and the area was very nice with many food options and stores for shopping. I would definitely be coming back!

I stayed in room with to queen bed with pool view. Room was clean .Very closed to the beach , just a few minutes walk , very nice beach , good breakfast, quite location ,and a good value for what you payed .

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel in June 2021 for 4 nights. We are both only 18 years old so there are limited hotels that allow 18 year old's to check in (most hotels in this area require you to be 21). We stayed in room 100 and we weren't impressed. We were on ground level right by the pool and it was a very small room, there were windows but if we had the curtains open, people could walk past our room and they could see right in so we had to keep them closed the entire time. We had a big king bed but only 4 small pillows, we were fighting over pillows every night lol. The bed itself was comfortable but it just didnt feel clean. I am a little OCD I like things clean and I just didnt feel that in the room we stayed in was clean. It felt like sand was all over the floor and in the bed even before we went to the beach, EW! The bathroom was TINY!!! My boyfriend is six feet tall and the sink countertop was very low. The bathroom was so small you could go to the bathroom and brush your teeth at the same time. The water had a yellow tint to it. I would yell at my boyfriend because he didn't flush the toilet, but it was just the yellow water in it!! There was also yellowish water in the shower too. Like I said, it just didn't feel clean. There is a pool, it is a little small but still very nice. There are pool towels but the front desk doesn't give them to you, you have to ask for them and we had to use one towel per person the entire stay. it is a very short walk to the beach. I recommend bring a beach towel from home or else you will need to bring your pool towel and it will get all sandy. There are no beach chairs FYI. Now some good things about this hotel. There is a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker in the room along with a large TV. There is also a very small gym on the second floor. There is one treadmill, row machine and a couple other things. There are a couple sets of dumbbells. It not a lot but it is something. There was free breakfast when we stayed here. My boyfriend and I just ate waffles every morning they were great!! There were many restaurants and little shops within a mile or so of this hotel so we walked to most places and took an uber to some. Overall, this was an average hotel. It is very dated and old. It was in our budget and we enjoyed our time here. If you have the money I suggest you splurge for the more luxury hotel tho!

This hotel by all means is not a five star hotel - It's obviously not a new hotel and some furniture and decors are torn/worn out. However we love the location - it's walking distance to the beach. Also, bus #40 is right by the hotel - you can take it to other beaches and also to connect to bus #11 to Las Olas Blvd. Breakfast was served speedily and considering COVID, it had good varieties of food. This is the more affordable hotel that's oceanfront and we really enjoyed it.

I was able to book the hotel for a great $$$ through Priceline. The hotel itself was sufficient for our stay. Pool area is on the smaller side, but nice. There is a second floor patio are for extra seating. You are just a block from the ocean and a 15 minute walk to many restaurants.

The property was clean and very close to the beach. Very close to the restaurants and bars within walking distance. The pool close at 8pm. The breakfast was great and the service. I was thanked for being an elite member with a gift. Overall great experience, but the room could use some updating.

Good breakfast and maid service. Excellent. A bit dated in some areas. Elevator exit carpet needs replaced, it was stained bad on second floor. Toilets slow to flush. I liked the folks I met while there.

Great location at a fair price. Able to walk everywhere. Would of been nice to have a shuttle to and from the airport, but other than that, great staff and very clean. A short walk around the corner and yo are on the beach. We like the beach area their. Not as busy. would definitely stay again

Wonderful! Staff is friendly, helpful and always available. Perfect location, bikes to rent and free breakfast is a no-brainer when traveling with kids. Hotel was spotless and safe. So close to beach- plenty to do or you can just relax by the pool. Kids loved it (little ones and teens). The staff definitely made the experience an A-plus. We will definitely stay there again.

Poorly maintained. Well below our expectations. Would not visit again.advertising was misleading. They did repeatedly state their cleanliness pledge but I don't remember ever seeing anyone wiping down anything. The rooms were musty and had an odor of mold.Finally moved to another room ,only to find men's underwear on the floor in clear view in our newly cleaned room .The view from our balcony in our second room overlooked the pool decks that were dirty and the umbrellas were torn, I never saw anyone from the facility tend to the pool area at all. The staff overall were pleasant. The owners of this hotel need to be present and see the property for what it is.

Stayed 4 nights with family in adjoining rooms. Pros: big breakfast included, nice comfy beds, clean, nice pool, balcony, easy checkin and out. Beach was right behind hotel. Very convenient for walking. Water taxi in walking distance and restaurants/bars. Cons: Small bathroom. Very mini bottles of shampoo, lotion. No housekeeping. Had to take from carts or call desk for towels. Threw dirty towels outside room door. All in all under $200 a night is great considering the overpriced hotels on beach.

This is so overpriced.the staff are rude and unhelpful unless you speak Spanish.there is no restaurant it's microwaved food.no menu or prices.property is run down.needs a good overhaul.bar is not open everyday.breakfast is about the only good thing going for it.go somewhere else.

Great place for a few nights. Room was comfortable, location was great, close bit not right on busy strip. We were there during spring break and the noise was not too intolerable. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, breakfast was nice.

We live in Fort Lauderdale and stayed in this hotel for a few days while we waiting for COVID test results. We loved the fact that there was easy beach access. The location is far enough down the beach to be away from the chaos, but still close enough that you can reach the action with a short walk. They also provide free bikes to use if you want to explore further. They normally have a full bar and restaurant, but were only limited to room service while we were there. Food was great and reasonably priced for a beach hotel. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area.

We stayed for a week. Great location and fair price. The hotel met our expectations and in some ways exceeded them. What you see is what you get, we were not expecting a restaurant or a fancy bar, so we were ok with what the hotel offered, the beach is 3 minutes walking distance and there are many restaurants 5-10 min walking distance. The pool is not big but it was not crowded. Room was cozy and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good despite of the COVID restrictions. The staff at front desk and at breakfast were very friendly and helpful at all times, they go the extra mile to give the guests a great service. Room for improvement in gym (update/maintenance) and in common areas cleaning.

This hotel was a gem. Very nice, clean, next to the beach, excellent staff. The value was great considering the close distance to the ocean. Included a good breakfast, pool if you wanted, free internet and a small fitness area.

My sister and I traveled with our 8 children and the staff helped us cater to all our children's needs without any complaints or discomfort. Breakfast was perfect! Our favorite was waffle and French toast. Pool side was amazing

Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn has so much to offer. its full of adventure on every turn and dive! The hosts are supper friendly and welcoming. The place was safe, clean and well maintained too. The food wad a cherry on the top.

First of all. Watch the prices. They add on for everything. This place was NOT as the pictures show. There is NO restaurant on the property. If you are going to have a car for 1 day, but your stay is 4 day, you have to pay $ 20 a day to park for 4 DAYS!! The people at the desk were the rudest I've ever dealt with. I have been to many many different hotels. When you walk in-there's the small area to check in-there is a small area straight ahead they serve breakfast. If you go a little to the right there is the pool. Thats it. You have to go out the front door to get to the beach. ONE exit. I did NOT get a receipt yet!! NEVER would I stay here again!!!

We recently stayed here and had a great time. The entire staff was friendly and helpful! This hotel was very clean and was a perfect location for the beach! It also had a great breakfast that we enjoyed eating outside even though they had plenty of room inside as well. We were just around the corner from the beach and a short walk to all the bars and restaurants we wanted. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here with their wonderful staff.

Breakfast wasn't great, items were running out by 8:20 and started at 8. Marijuana smell surrounded the building 12 hours a day...pool closed at 6pm...it's Florida! We wanted to swim when we got back from exploring and we asked the front desk and was quickly told no and called maintenance on the walkie talkie to watch the pool and kick others out...the rooms were “remodeled”(just added a 30th layer of paint to things) and our power kicked off. The restaurant and bar were closed due to covid and no notice was given about that before traveling, when asked about it, they said they didn't draw enough business in and couldn't keep it open, never mind the guests staying on the property, several people were ordering delivery/DoorDash for food, I can't imagine you couldn't have stuff open on shortened hours...the music was terrible by the pool, constant playing of 50's/60's music...for this being on the beach and around spring break time, this hotel was a DUD!

The floor we stayed on smelled strongly of weed most of our 5 night stay, and you could also smell it in our bathroom. When I complained to the front desk they said there is nothing they can do about it. When I asked if it was a non-smoking hotel, they said yes. Another couple nearby said the floor their room was on also smelled strongly of weed. Additionally, this hotel could be a lot cleaner. The baseboards and doors really need a good scrubbing and the details have not been attended to in a very long time. The bottom of the bathtub is stained as well. The mattress could have used replacing, and my back wasn't too happy. The only plus would be the proximity to the beach, and this is why we didn't leave. Definitely will NOT stay here again.

While the hotel itself is a little bit dated on the outside, the location by the beach is fantastic. The king size room we had was a bit small and so was the bathroom. The staff was accommodating for a couple of the things that we asked for and the price through priceline was great!

I was in Fort Lauderdale briefly for a night and chose this hotel. Walking to the beach was convenient from the hotel and spent some time at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. The front desk were very friendly. I was recognized and thanked as a Diamond Select member along with my welcome gift. Room was nice and clean. The breakfast was great even though it was at a reduced service. The pool deck was nice to hangout in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel. I definitely will come back to stay here if I happen to come in this area again.

For the location and price, you can't beat this value. We were steps from the beach and within walking distance (10 mins) from tons of restaurants. The pool was nice and our room was on the 2nd level balcony, which was awesome. We got to lay out right outside of our room and it wasn't ever busy. Had an issue with the TV freezing and within 10 mins someone came to fix it. We were really impressed.

We have stayed at this resort before and absolutely loved the location and the price compared to other nearby "beach front" hotels. The check-in staff was wonderful and the room was adequate. Though the breakfast attendant wasn't the friendliest, the weekend hot breakfast was amazing! One thing we never took advantage of until this trip was the parking garage. In the past we have never had a car when staying here, as we were leaving on cruises. This time we had a rental car. So, we paid the $10 upcharge for parking and could not believe the ease of going from the lower level parking garage to our second floor room. We could park a short distance from the elevator that took us right to our floor, just feet from our room. We would most definitely stay here again, especially if we needed parking.

Price was great for the service. Nice rooms and good breakfast provided. Everything was clean. Lady at the front desk was amazing and helpful in addition to the other staff we encountered. Communal areas were well kept and spotless as well as sanitized.

Over all it was a nice hotel at a great value. We wanted to stay close to the water but it wasn't in the center of the mid strip. You can't see the water from any room, but we did have a nice balcony with two queen beds. Our room was very updated and clean. A few things needed alittle more attention to cleaning but over all very satisfied. You must call the front desk to get your room cleaned everyday which we weren't a fan of because if we forgot to call one day we didn't have any clean towels. We had to call the front desk a few times and the lady that answered seemed like we were bothering her. The internet needs updated it was extremely slow. The beds were very comfortable and there are plenty of pillows. Breakfast was served everyday with a line that accommodated very well to COVID rules. Lastly, the pool area was filled with kids and there was never any sun in the pool area which is disappointing. We were able to find two chairs late in the afternoon.

We went on a long drive and had to rest midway so we decided to check into Best Western Oceanside Inn. This hotel did not disappoint. We came there to sleep and we had a good night's sleep! Their beds and pillows are comfortable, everything's clean and their bathrooms have eco-friendly dispensers. We were very satisfied with our stay there.

need to train better your staff to be more polite with customers, especially your night shift manager and the cleaning guy. people on vacation need to feel free to stay out at anytime with out been arrased from the hotel staff. no matter what time it was they where arrasing us at all time by non senses rules.

The room we were assigned had an AC unit that was leaking water. This left the carpet wet and moldy. The entire room had a mold smell. When discussing the issue with the front office staff, they refused to address the issue of the mold, odor, or broken equipment. I'm not satisfied with my stay at this hotel and I will not return to this hotel.

Very clean hotel ALL of the staff very accommodating and pleasant We checked in night of June 29--I have to give kudos to the night desk manager—very nice man who is helpful with food late at night, at our keys ready before we even walked up to him, etc. The hotel is older but recently repainted and extremely clean. Excellent value. Nice pool, and 100 feet from the beach. Breakfast was limited due to Covid, but very clean area, masks mandatory and they did everything to ensure safety. I will definitely stay here again with a large group or family

We ended up here by complete accident. When we arrived the room was clean, we checked in and we happen to get a pretty nice room that was out on the Sundeck so there was lots of space for the kids to be able to go out and play. The Sunday Night Before Memorial Day our toilet stopped working in the middle of the night. I went downstairs to the lobby to the front desk and there was a sign that said that the front desk was only open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. it was 2 in the morning. I looked around and saw that there was a young man sitting at the bar on his laptop. When I kept standing there he finally got up and told me that he was the front desk attendant and asked me if he could help me. I proceeded to tell him that my toilet has stopped working and I needed a plunger because there wasn't one in my room. I also needed towels and we're out of toilet paper. He responded and said well if your toilet is not working do you really need toilet paper? Yes, I told him so he proceeded to get up from his makeshift desk area at the bar and go into a locked closet and handed me a roll of toilet paper and 2 towels. He then started looking in a bunch of other rooms and eventually said he was trying to find me a plunger. I stood there for a few minutes and finally he said im going to keep looking for a plunger and if I don't find one ill call your room and let you know. I told him I had small kids sleeping so he said he would come upstairs and tell me if he couldn't find one. I waited about 30 minutes before finally getting the idea that maybe the downstairs bathroom in the lobby might have had one. I proceeded to head to the downstairs bathroom and see the same young man sitting playing on his laptop again. When he saw me he jumped up and said you are going to use the room across the halls bathroom. So he hands me the room key to the room across the hall. Which is what we did for the rest of our stay. When checking out I told the morning attendant what had transpired and she got an attitude and told me that because I booked through Priceline I wasn't eligible for a discount. I never asked her to give me a discount but she was extremely rude about it. It's also worthy to note that on Sunday before Memorial Day during the day we spent the day at the pool my sister and I and our children and the maintenance men are very creepy they proceeded to stand at the window and stare at us very boldly and it was extremely uncomfortable for us. So just be wary.

School is starting soon and I needed a break from everything that's happening so I decided to book at BW. It was great. The facility is super nice. They took the necessary measures to ensure our safety. I loved that parking was free for one car. I'm only giving 4 stars because I didn't get to stay in the partial ocean view.

It's one of the best reasonably rated hotels in Ft. Lauderdale in a great location near restaurants and the water taxi. Hotel staff are great and very helpful. This was our 2nd time to stay and we will stay again.

Nice location near the beach, although a little far to walk from restaurants etc. The pool area is lovely and very calm. The breakfast is good and the staff here are very helpful. The rooms are clean and overall we had a very enjoyable stay. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed 3 nights in the beginning of march at this BW hotel. The hotel is nice located in the vicinity of the Fort Lauderdale boulevard with some nice restaurants and bars and is also close by two hop on/off places for the water taxi. The hotel itself is pretty good, room is clean with two queen beds. We had a room on the upper floor as we requested and from there you have a beautiful view towards the harbor. We saw some cruise boats leaving the harbor from our balcony. The staff is friendly and special thanks to the management who had abode to our request for a room on the upper floor. The only two negative point for us were the thin walls, it was spring break and a lot of young adults were shouting and running through the corridor and adjacent rooms and you could hear everything as you were in the same room. And the second negative point was the cost of a parking lot underneath the hotel, the parking garage itself is okay but the price is way to much. Breakfast was perfect and vary each day.

Best Western Oceanside Inn is a great hotel located near the airport. A quick walk and you are able to hit the beach or walk along the beach boulevard. The hotel itself is nice. Lovely pool and two levels of poolside tables and chairs. Great place to relax and have a cocktail from the bar. Breakfast was good, hotel staff all friendly and helpful. We stayed here twice over a two week holiday and would stay again in the future.

We stayed here for three nights prior to a cruise that got cancelled. Unfortunately for us it was spring break so the hotel was rather busy and noisey. We should have done some research before we booked. However, there were several pluses. All hotel staff were excellent and helpful. The inclusive breakfast was great especially as we were there before all the youngsters got up. The room was ok but some signs of wear but comfy beds and very clean. Plus fridge and microwave. We were on the second floor next to a door to the veranda which was in constant use and could be heard in our room. It did not seem loud outside our but inside it was. The bar service was excellent and bar meals were also very good and reasonably priced. The pool was on the small side and pretty full so not very inviting. The receptionists on the front desk where excellent and with all the cruises being cancelled due to Corona virus were prepare to hold our room for an extra night on a contingency basis. Unfortunately the inevitable happen and the cruise was cancelled and we required the extra night to a few restaurants. Yes we would stay here again but as old fuddy duddies we would avoid spring break.

Excellent Service from Front Desk Staff Maressa and Aliyah. Room had a King Bed as requested and was just off Poolside. Ate in the restaurant and everything was very good. Location was great with access to the Trolley right outside the hotel. We will certainly be back.

Nice location for public beach access! However despite looking remodeled it still lacked in cleanliness. Upon arriving all trash cans inside and out were overflowing with trash at 2pm. Only 1 of 2 elevators were working. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable but the bathroom was small and showing age despite being updated.

We regularly try to stay here the night before leaving on a cruise ship. We checked in late due to the arrival of our flight but the staff were excellent in having the chef make us a hot sandwich even though the kitchen was closing. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. An excellent full buffet breakfast got us off to a good start for our day.

Management is superb! Bartender was amazing! He didn't have to come out to the pool to wait on us, but he did. He didn't have to clean up after us, but he did. Snack food at the bar was great, too. Clean, friendly place.

Had not been at the Oceanside Inn in thirty years, but it is better than ever. Great staff from housekeeping to food service to the front desk. Everything was clean and well kept. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. The location is a short walk to the beach with restaurants and shops within a mile. The included breakfast buffet was outstanding with a large and diverse selection. Only minor negatives were small bathrooms and high parking garage fees. Our stay more than met our expectations.

My husband and I stayed one night and we really liked the location. It was very close to the boardwalk and the beach and took a nice morning walk after we had a delicious breakfast and coffee. For the price it was the best stay we had while in Florida!

booked this hotel an hour before check in due to big problems with 2 other reservations for same date (see 2 other reviews). Agree with relaxedinedmonton, that the hotel is old and needs a face list, the room was very large but the balcony view was just the hotel next door and a few trees. Pleasantly surprised with self serve breakfast, food nice and hot, and topped up regularly. Not much around the hotel, but short walk to beach and 30 minutes walk from hotel along beach road to Las Olas area. Fort Lauderdale hotel prices are high - rates at the BW was a bit lower - car parking charge $22 plus tax a day was high though

Hotel is old, could for sure use a facelift. Staff was friendly and helpful! There really isn't a balcony view, just the hotel next door and some trees! I would go back, but will look around a bit more before returning to this hotel. Breakfast was good, pretty typical hotel self serve breakfast!

Front desk staff and daytime bartender/server not friendly at all. Hotel has had a face lift, but still quite dated in areas. Clean enough, but the quick fixes make it feel more run down. One of the best complimentary hotel breakfasts we have had, however the food from the restaurant at dinner was no better than a hospital cafeteria. Easy drive to the cruise terminal, so it got the job done for one night.

Room was ok, older, but well taken care of. AC made a lot of noise when it kicked on, liked having the room with the pool deck right outside, convenient to going outside. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. Menu for lunch and dinner was quite extensive, food was good, a little pricey though. Need a shuttle to beach area and from the airport.

I only stayed one night. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We arrived at noon and were allowed to check in. It was an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Our meal in the restaurant, which we brought up to the room, was delicious. (They do not have room service) The free breakfast was good with a good variety to pick from. I would definitely stay again.

Our stay was short but very pleasant. We were able to easily walk to the beach (about one block away) and spent our mid-afternoon and evening swimming in the heated pool. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. We had dinner there our first night and it was very good. We had several cocktails both nights and they were made to perfection. We highly recommend the rum runners. The free breakfast was an added bonus, most guests take advantage of this so it was quite crowded and it is very clear why, because the food was exceptional. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and although the bathroom was a little outdated it was very clean and kept up well by the staff. The beds were very comfortable as well. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My daughter and I flew in from Atlanta to get some sun and fun for one night. We happened upon this little gem. Location is fantastic. 15 minutes from FLL and just around the corner from the beach. We booked it once we landed requesting an early check in. Little did we know Maira Miranda at the front desk was going to let us in at 12:30. All staff were super nice. The building is an older hotel style but they have updated it to look fantastic. Pool was basic with great furniture. Parking was a breeze ($20). Breakfast buffet was great. We really enjoyed our stay. Will do it again soon.

There were 6 of us that stayed one night prior to our cruise. The location is perfect! Just off the beach and easy walking to restaurants. Check in went smoothly even though we arrived early. We had drinks around the pool. That evening we had dinner and had great service and the nachos were excellent!! We would definitely return, but next time we will go in 3 days early!

Hotel is a little dated but clean and staff were very friendly. The Ft Lauderdale public beach is more less out the back door. The beach is wide so it's a couple hundred yards to the water. The beach is also very long. Highly recommended (411 South) on the boardwalk drinks and eats.

We were in Room 502 with a view of Seabreeze Blvd. The staff is excellent. We hadn't been there in a few years and Rose and Leila remembered us. Very clean there and close to the beach and restaurants. Going back here again next February.

Stayed for 1 night pre cruise. Well located, 1 min walk to beach, not far from airport or port everglades. Comfortable bed, clean room. Breakfast with lots of choices included. They organized shuttles to port in the morning, easy booking, about same price as a taxi.

Great place to spend a night or longer before or after a cruise. The staff was A1 particularly Front Desk Manager, Marisa. We were given a pool patio room with our own direct access to the patio and pool. The morning breakfast buffet was first rate with a selection of 3 types of egg and even fresh sliced tomatoes. We would go back.

Reserved 4 rooms for my wedding party in Jan while getting married on Ft Lauderdale beach. There is very little parking in front for unloading and you have to pay extra for parking even if you're staying there so we opted to take our rental back right away. Front desk staff was very friendly and informative. The rooms we just ok... not super updated or anything but clean and nice balcony view... the price definitely comes from the location. It was just a very short walk to the beach for my ceremony, which was nice. The shuttle service to the cruise port was also very affordable and convenient all set up with the hotel. We just told them how many people and what time. $7 a person. They were there on time and very professional, helpful and friendly. Checkout was easy and although I didn't personally go down and eat the continental breakfast we had quite a few kids with us and it was nice to send them down to eat while getting ready for the wedding that morning. Overall with the chaos of the day the hotel stay was the least of my worries (in a good way) and our experience was pleasant.

very clean, friendly staff and great location. Restaurant being open late really helped as we had a late flight. Limited elevators but they moved quickly and efficiently. It is convenient for the Port Terminal and in a less congested traffic area.

Clean, but dated, especially in the bathroom s. Handles on toilet and shower felt like they would fall off at anytime. Pool was fabulous! Proximity to beach excellent. Great area to rent and use bikes. Water taxi pick up near by and a Fun way to spend a few hours. Trolly is $1 each way. The hotel was most gracious in storing our luggage for us after we checked out.

This an adequate in Ft. Lauderdale, not to far from the airport and nearly on the beach. It's a short 3 minute walk behind the hotel to get to the beach. Rooms a pretty basic, comfortable beds and the storm doors and windows keep noise out. They do offer a free breakfast buffet in the morning. I found most of the offerings to be either too sweet or too salty. Lots of people stay here it seems because of the short distance to the cruise ships terminal. Not too far from airport either, but no airport shuttle.

Stayed for a night between cruise and flying home. Great front desk staff who stored our bags and got us in to a room as soon as one became available (we showed up 9 hours before check in). They were very pleasant and accommodating. Clean and bright hotel room with a great view of the pool. Bar food was great too! Breakfast had great options, including GF & DF! Overall great experience and perfect way to end a vacation!

Recent renovations make this hotel clean and bright. Staff is very helpful and now they have restaurant service which is good since there are not may restaurants in walking distance. Prices have increased since the renovations and are getting a bit high.

This hotel is a bit old looking but was clean and the staff was friendly. The best part is that the hotel is within walking distance to the beach boardwalk, restaurants and shops. The staff is very friendly and it was a good choice before and after our cruise.

Convenient location for beach, convention center, cruise, and airport access. Amenities at hotel included food and bar. Bar had casual bar-type food offerings. After walking area looking for light food options, ended up back at hotel and very pleased with food and bar. Room clean, functional, and comfortable.

We stayed over 1 night between a cruise and flight home. This is a totally acceptable hotel, clean and fresh decor, good breakfast (need to eliminate single use plastics though!!!). Room was quiet and dark, good view of the pool from our 5th floor balcony. Did not use pool/sundeck but looked nice and clean. Only half a block from the beach, and location is at the south end of the beach, 10-15 min taxi ride to either port or airport. Only quibble is the cost which seems to be an issue in FL in general, this place is fine but it's a pretty standard Best Western, and it cost more than our much more elaborate beachfront resort in Barbados (itself an expensive island).

Everyone there is exceptional, from the front desk staff, the bartender, to the dining room staff. This place is clean, quiet, and the pool is great. It is within walking distance to lots of local shops, restaurants, and bars. If you want to rent a car there is a convenient Enterprise not far from there that has after hour drop off at the hotel next door.

Outstanding stay. We really appreciated Aaliyah at the front desk taking such great care of us. We had flown overnight, and our day in Ft. Lauderdale was fantastic and so special with activities thanks to this nice lady. Room was very nice and very Florida motif.

We checked in last minute into a king suite with a balcony and a huge bathroom. They have a parking garage and nice pool/bar/dining area. The room was the most reasonable rate we saw for the area and is within walking distance to the beach. The breakfast was better than usual as well. Nola was delightful at the front desk. It's an older property but kept up well.

We had a pleasant stay. Close to the beaches and easy access to market. We could walk to the market in the evening. Will recommend for families as well. Breakfast was good and we had to pay for parking but it was still reasonable.

We booked a night here prior to our cruise. We loved our room, it was very clean and roomy. We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool. The balcony area is an open concept so you might have someone sitting outside of your room. Just an FYI-it was not a dealbreaker for us. And, we cannot leave out our wonderful Rose, the bartender who took care of us! She was very friendly and had some wonderful stories to tell! She also poured a mean drink! We will definitely stay here again when in the Fort Lauderdale area!!

We traveled to Fort Lauderdale for a cruise and were looking for an ocean-front hotel with reasonable rates to stay in before and after. We are very pleased that we chose BW Oceanside. Their location is great- easy to walk to the beach & restaurants/ shopping. Quick ride to the cruise port and airport. The rooms are very comfortable and other features were nice. The bar had good food and the kids loved the pool. They put a lot of production into the complementary breakfast - and it was awesome! The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The bartender was easy to talk to and the mangers were fantastic. I had a situation with my booking through a 3rd party and they handled it beautifully. All in all- if you can get a good rate, you won't be disappointed with the Oceanside.

We only stayed for one night and it was a great and peaceful stay. Breakfast included in agreement to Best Western standards. i will return in january for a longer stay. I recommend. Clean ad safe place.

Clean, quiet, and the most friendly staff around. The service and breakfast were better than that on our Costa cruise! They stored our luggage for 2 days for no fee. The pool is warm, and clean. The beach is a very close walking distance.

Beautiful beach, wonderful sunrise and great protien breakfast. Just what was needed. The morning breeze from the balcony with a warm cup of coffee while others got ready, was breathtaking and relaxing. Add to that, the amazing sunrise and white sand beach, taking a brisk walk, touching toes in the warm Atlantic. What a present.

We had a sizeable comfortable room. Excellent staff. Complimentary breakfast and access to shuttle bus for cruise terminal. (Payable) Good value compared with many local hotels. No time for the heated swimming pool. The hotel is probably dated but it is good nonetheless.

Hotel was fine, nice room with balcony, but the stay was ruined when I was offered a ride to the airport in the hotel shuttle instead of a taxi. I had to pay $100 which is way more than a taxi would have been and we where 5 paying adults in that beat up van... Hingway robbery, not cool.

The BW+ Oceanside is just in 1min walking distance to the beach. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The pool and sundeck are great and angled towards the sun the whole day. Breakfast is continental as in every other hotel in this category, BUT(!!) they got proper plates! Not those paper or cheap plastic plates like in other places. My family is from Europe and we always have porcelain plates in every hotel, so coming to the US this was a shock to us. But as I said, this hotel got the right amenities and proper cutlery too.

Stayed here night before getting on our cruise. Location to port is excellent, however, trying to get into the hotel is difficult. Very small driveway and even more difficult getting luggage cart up the pathway. Close to beach but not directly on beach. Very tight with other buildings around. Had issue with them charging our card 3 times and front desk staff wasn't the friendliest. Parking was good as it was covered. Didn't investigate the area as we were tired and just there for the night before our cruise. Room was nice. Clean room and bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Balcony was nice and had view of the cruise ships.

The staff was very nice, the room was clean and comfortable and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was a local stay-cation for me as I live in Ft. Lauderdale. I would definitely recommend this location. It is very close to local attractions, the airport and cruise port.

We stayed here after getting off a cruise ship, and were very surprised at what a perfect choice this was to stay in. It is located right near a lovely walking path along the beach, lined with shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is very plain wrap on the outside. But inside is very nice. There is a nice pool area. Rooms are modern, towels are great, staff is very nice, and the breakfast has many choices and has new things each morning and is served until 10:30am. It is close to the port and the airport.

Located about 15 - 20 minutes walk to the main Ft Lauderdale restaurant and bar area and only one building away from the beach, the hotel has a fun, modern, colorful beachy vibe. Rooms with a double bed had just enough room for walking around the bed with a chair and table in the corner. The microwave and fridge in the room make it convenient. Breakfast was really good with sausage and ham choices in addition to the two kinds of scrambled eggs. Fresh sliced fruit. Swimming pool with chairs and umbrella. Small waterfall and outside seating area to enjoy breakfast or a drink. Nice looking bar in the lobby. As a Best Western Rewards member, the two bottles of Glacier water, personalized chocolate bar and other snack were nice. Located about 5 minutes farther than the Renaissance hotel, it was a busy day getting into the cruise terminal area. It really should not have taken more than 20 minutes but it was 45 minutes to Terminal 25 (Celebrity) because of the back up.

What a great hotel! One block from the beach, actually saw a glimpse of the ocean from our balcony. We have stayed here in the past (2 yrs ago back), and they have renovated the rooms, lobby, etc. Super comfy beds and pillows, close to the cruise port (our reason for staying). Breakfast offered a great variety, scrambled eggs with tomatoes and spinach mixed in (the next morning was different), waffle maker, pancakes, fresh fruit, rolls muffins, hostess very nice. We had dinner in their bar, was so delicious (1/2 lb hamburgers & fries), other choices looked delicious as well. They have a nice outdoor pool. All staff were super friendly and helpful with questions etc. We would recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed 3 nights after a cruise here recently and loved our stay. Hotel is in a great location to the beach and one of the only few that has breakfast provided. For a young family of 4, the breakfast and beach access was highly convenient. The beach was only a 2 minute stroll that did not require crossing a street. Hotel accepted packages for us prior to our visit (small fee), has secured and accessible parking, and a nice balcony for each room. Hotel also accommodates cruisers very well because they take checked bags prior to check-in and offered our room earlier to the check-in time. Rooms were nice and clean with a fridge and microwave. Our only complaint is that housekeeping was slow. Our room was not attended to until after lunch and made for napping the kids a little tricky. All in all, would highly recommend

A good hotel at a reasonable price almost on the beach in Fort Lauderdale. Easy access to the Water Taxi service and a short walk to the beach (5 minutes) and many restaurants and lounges. Nice pool and good internet with an in hotel bar and restaurant including an "included" excellent breakfast.

Great location, within walking distance of the beach. The lobby is updated, nice & bright inside. The breakfast had a good amount of variety! The rooms were nothing special but updated which was nice. Easy check in and check out!

I arrived with my daughter in tow on a Sunday at around 8:30am. Check in isn't until 4pm technically. So anyways, I checked in early. I was told that a room isn't ready. The clerk offered to hold on to my luggage and offered us breakfast. The hot breakfast was very generous. We waited two hours all together. Our room was clean and comfortable. I was able to do laundry for 1.50 a load. My daughter loved the pool. The beach had a play ground. I am booking here on my next Fort Lauderdale cruise. Thank you for everything.

This fits a very well priced hotel with decent rooms, and a good bed. The bonus was this had the best breakfast I've ever seen at a budget hotel. Waffles cereal, fruit, with lots and lots of choices. It was kept very well-stocked. The staff was super!

The room had everything we needed but could have been cleaner. The curtains need washing and the bathroom needs updating. For what one pays for, I would have expected a more up-to-date room. The breakfast was better than the usual (had sliced tomatoes and fruit salad and plenty of other choices). Staff at breakfast was very helpful. The staff at the reception desk tried to help but they didn't have too much information about anything I asked about (the trolley that goes by, how to get the 500 "green" points, etc.). The pool area was nice and while one had to pay for it, it was good to have locked parking. The hotel is not on the beach but the beach is very close. The A/C worked very well and it was quiet at night, no problems sleeping.

I have stayed at this hotel every time I've come to the area for approximately 6 years. The rooms are clean, patio rooms available as well as partial ocean views. There is a nice pool area as well as a sun deck. The hot breakfast buffet is excellent. There are eggs, meat, waffle machine, danish, cereals, coffee and juices. An easy walk to the beach or stroll down the sidewalk to restaurants and shops. There is a parking garage but you must pay to use it.

Very nice room with a very comfortable bed. Clean!!! Short walk to Ft. Lauderdale Beach- great for a walk and watching the sun rise and set. Great overnight stay before heading out on a cruise the next day. Close to the port. Nice breakfast buffet with a lot of variety.

My wife and I booked here for three days prior to our cruise. Although we have been to Fort Lauderdale many times this was our first visit to this hotel. We arrived quite early for our 4pm check in (showed up at 8am!) and Maira the Front Desk Supervisor was extremely helpful. We got in our room quickly and upgraded to a wonderful suite!(THANK YOU). We stayed in room 104 which is literally 12' from the pool and just a few steps to the restaurant and breakfast area. The staff were all excellent to be around and made this trip quite enjoyable and stress free. Thanks again to all staff including restaurant and housekeeping. Great team in a wonderful hotel set in a terrific spot just steps to the beach.

Poor customer service from front desk staff in regards to reservation For adjoining rooms. I was never advised of lack of adjoining rooms until check in. I had asked 5 months. One week and day before and was told would be available. At check in I was told “ we did not guarantee that”. No one every mentioned lack of adjoining until check in. The attitude of the staff was there are other hotels

An awesome place. Lots of choices for breakfast. The staff is great. They charge $21.40 per night for parking but no "resort fees." The nightly rate is better than other beach resorts. Right next to Lauderdale beach. A short walk to the Water Taxi which was an excellent way to travel. They even go to Hollywood Beach.

We stayed one night precruise. This is a dated, older hotel, but has been taken care of and rooms were comfortable and clean. Its in a great location with about a 10-15 minute walk to the waterfront shops and stores where we had dinner and picked up a few supplies for the trip. The beach is actually located right behind the hotel...The complimentary breakfast had plentiful choices and the staff was great! I would definitely stay here again! Ft Lauderdale is a fun town with so much to do! Cant wait to come back!

After staying at several other hotels pre-cruise and post-cruise, I think I've found the hotel we'll be booking in Fort Lauderdale from now on. Yes it's older, but it's clean and comfortable, with a few extras that other pricier hotels don't have. HBO is included and the included breakfast has hot items besides the usual fruit, pastries, etc. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast all at the hotel. The day we checked in there was a terrific thunderstorm so we didn't feel like venturing out to other restaurants or the beach, which is nearby. The food and service in the restaurant are very good and plentiful. It was nice just to rest up before our flight home the next day. Our room was comfortable, with good A/C and a nice little couch in the corner to stretch out on. The only (slight) negative was the bathroom sink was really low. I'm 5'7" and had to bend way over just to wash my face. Other than that everything was great and we'll be staying there again.

Room was renovated, not well, (chipped paint, older fixtures, moldings etc) but it's updated and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Room did not get cleaned one of the days we were there, but other than that, I would stay again.

Wanted to start our cruise stay by the water. Admittedly a limited ocean view but lovely just the same. As well the ocean air was fresh and inviting. Loved the location of this hotel. Extremely clean. Front desk was a little over worked but efficient and follow up is spectacular. Clearly customer satisfaction is something they take seriously. My only beef - no airport shuttle. And UBER left us waiting for a half an hour - the first driver was a no show who was stringing us along. Not appreciated after a 4 a.m. start and a desire to get to the hotel ASAP. Boo the Uber and a big Thank You to Jose with the Lexus of Uber for saving the day. By the way - hands down THE BEST SHOWER EVVVVEERRRr!!!!

Staff was very friendly and informative. Room was clean and there was elevator access. Breakfast was buffet style but lots to choose from. Within walking distance to the beach. We booked this room for one night for a cruise and It ended up being a great location. Just 10 minutes to the harbor.

We arrived to the hotel several hours earlier than expected. They stored our luggage for us until our room was ready and allowed us to take some towels to the beach nearby! Our room was ready and allowed us to check in much earlier than anticipated. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and the location was perfect. Many restaurants and the beach within walking distance!

our room was pool view and exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly assisted us throughout our stay. Very short walk to beach. No service on beach so you must bring your own chairs and acessories. Food menu was reasonabiliy priced. Breakfast buffet was limited but of good quality.

I did a lot of research to find where to stay for our trip and landed here. The pictures were nice, the hotel seemed clean and updated. The best way to describe what the hotel actually looks like is that they very cheaply renovated an old worn down place. We didn't see any bugs but I wouldn't have been surprised if we had. The overall experience was pretty grungy. Crooked light switches, toilets that only flush if you hold them all the way down for 10 seconds, chipping paint, carpet peeling up.. the list goes on. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and I did not sleep well at all. Definitely recommend bringing a pillow from home if you do stay here because theirs go flat when you lay on them and provide no support. The blankets and sheets felt like 100 pieces of paper sewn together.

This property was in an excellent location for our needs. We flew in to FLL to take a cruise leaving from Port Everglades the following day. This property was close to both. Many shopping and dining opportunities were within walking distance. The hotel was clean, with plenty of lobby space. Complimentary breakfast was also very good. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. I only hope that they find some way to put me on a floor with an ice machine. That was the only downside of our stay.

The rooms are modest but its short walk to the beach made up for it. There were not very many restaurants within walking distance. We stayed pre-cruise and took a cab to from the airport and to the port. They do not have their own transportation to and from them.

I stayed for 3 nights on my own then joined by my daughter. The reception staff were so helpful and kind especially as my suitcase had gone missing at the airport and arrived 24 hours later. People staying at the hotel were very friendly and I enjoyed many a conversation in the swimming pool. It was not far to the beach and towels plus beach chairs were given out. Breakfast was great (as were the staff) and I found the location near bus stops and trolley stops even better My only disappointment was we had a connecting door in our room and we could hear the people next door, so left a towel on the floor to stop the noise. Our balcony room overlooked the pool and was great to sit out in the evening. A special thanks to Marissa, Aliyah and Maira on the front desk.

From the get go this was not as promised. They advertised free shuttle to and from the airport Not so 25$. Had dinner there and it was burned. Still was made to pay for it even though they agreed it was over done!! Not helpful. Asked to speak to the manager, girls looked at each other and then ignored me. Very disappointed for a best western.

We arrived late in the evening and had just enough time to eat a bite in the hotel restaurant before it closed for the evening. Room was nice but when it said balcony I was expected a view of something other than the back of the building next door.

Booked for 2 night stay on Beach in Ft Lauderdale. The location is good for the beach as just around the corner. Its a short walk (approx 10 - 15 mins) to all the bars and restaurants on the beach. The room was large and airy and had a small balcony - although it overlooked the back of the hotel next door, the car park and the main road. So not exactly a good view! They provide beach towels and breakfast A full breakfast is included with your booking The staff were really nice and helpful Parking - they have their own parking garage for the extortionate fee of $20 + tax per night. There is no on the road parking anywhere for free so you have to pay to park with them. I think $20 per night is really on top of the cost of the room.

We stayed with my wife and her sister for 4 nights and we found the hotel very confortable and friendly. I especially want to highlight the cordiality and good treatment of Maira Miranda, the supervisor of the front desk, who always attended our requests and gave us valuable instructions to make our stay more pleasant.

If you Love staying close to airport and walk from your Hotel room to the open ocean and enjoy walking on warm salt water and clean sands, you got the place. The rooms are clean, The staff are wonderful, they have excellent food, from breakfast and regular meals at the bar / restaurant. the prices are reasonable. Air conditions are cooling to the lowest temperature you prefer. The hotel is close to freeways and air port and harbor. Close to shopping area and boat launch.

Place was extremely clean and accommodations were excellent. Breakfast was full buffet served hot and kept extremely clean and constantly refilled. Staff was there to help and accommodate you. Would highly recommend Very close to beach (walking distance) pool kept extremely clean. Can take bus right over bridge and do Happy Hour at some of the restaurants. The Boatyard was excellent Happy Hour with great ambiance. Would highly recommend staying at the BW.

Amazing Best western property! Marissa and Aliyah are the best. Helped me have a comfortable stay. The property is right next to the beach and a walk away from multiple food options. Definitely try the seafood at Coconuts. Aliyah & Marissa suggested it & it was great.

We had not visited the area and was disappointed the hotel was not within walking distance of food or entertainment.We are older and found the walk taxing. The front staff were wonderful and helpful with directions and calling for taxis.

We were only here for 1 night after a 10 night cruise. I unfortunately had sprained my ankle bad enough on the last day that I could not put any weight on it. When we arrived at the hotel (I was on crutches), my husband asked if they had a wheelchair that we could use - they did. They also accommodated us last minute by changing our room from a regular room to an accessible room to fit the wheelchair. I feel they went above and beyond. We waited there by the pool for most of the day waiting for our room to be ready, the bartender was amazing, she brought us food and drinks. My only complaint was when we left very early the next morning to catch a flight (6 am), the person who was at the desk could have cared less and it seemed like we were bothering her to check out. My husband had to manage me in a wheelchair and all our luggage (3 large suitcases plus his backpack), she didn't lift a finger to help at all, just watched him struggle. Not that it's her job to assist with that stuff but it would have been nice to have a little help, even just to push me outside in the chair.

I was hesitant to book this hotel at first but it somewhat exceeded my expectations. The room was decent and large, it included a safe, blow dryer, small fridge and a microwave. There was only two small drawers so we hung most of our stuff in the closet to give us room. We were situated on the sun deck so we had access to pool without going through hotel. There were also tables and chairs near the sliding doors which made it convenient to eat and drink near the room but not in the room. Staff was friendly, breakfast was fairly decent. It was enough to fill us up til lunchtime. There was no direct access to beach so you need to access it by walking out the front door and going around the next hotel or you can access the beach by exiting the garage and there was a small beach access between the hotel next doors two buildings. BW does not have any chairs or umbrellas on the beach like the other nearby hotels. We didn't spend too much time at beach for that reason and stayed at the pool most of time since they had lounge chairs and umbrellas located around the pool. I was a little taken back by the $20/day fee for parking. Wasn't made aware of this until mobile check in time. Hotel was within walking distance to the Jungle Queen and some other charter boats and jet skis so that was convenient.

The Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn is a bargain for anyone wanting to stay near the beach but not having to pay resort prices. Staff were very friendly and helpful - special thanks to Lashanda Justin at the front desk for a quick check-in (with goody bag!) and chat - but custodial staff and dining area staff should also be commended. My room was large, with two comfortable king-sized beds (I traveled solo, on business), with mini-fridge, coffeemaker, flatscreen tv, balcony overlooking the pool, and microwave. The bathroom was also large, with a good shower and plenty of space on the sink for toiletries. The desk area was more than sufficient for working on my laptop. As the hotel is a bit older, some wear and tear is evident, but I saw nothing major. The color scheme is very South Florida - teal everywhere! The beachfront is right around the corner, and the hotel is also a fairly short walk to a few restaurants. Breakfast was complimentary and varied from day to day, with ham one day, black beans another, and hash browns on a third. The orange/mango juice is addictive. The only two issues I should note are (1) only one elevator services the five floors, so be patient especially if you have a lot of luggage, and (2) although the hotel itself has a restaurant a a few others are nearby, most of the restaurants and shops are at least a mile away, so either be prepared to walk or drive. Overall, despite the slight wear and tear, I'd definitely staff there again on a business trip.

Stayed here with a friend for a short vacation. Hotel is right next to the beach which is great. The staff was all so nice and very helpful. Breakfast was very good. Definitely a hotel that is worth the price.

Great hotel in a great location. You're practically on the beach and great restaurants and attractions like the Jungle Queen are walking distance. In general there's not a lot of street lighting at night, but the area is still relatively safe for you to walk around.

Stayed in this hotel a few times before and always loved it. Great location, good breakfast and nice pool area and rooms This time however I checked in and the lady behind the desk was miserable and rude. Then when I went to bed at 11.30pm after a nice evening out in fort Lauderdale I got into bed to then discover blood in the bed after I fully untucked the sheets , luckily there are two double beds so just switched beds. The management were great the next day dealing with it and gave us a full refund on our room. Upon checking out I used the toilet in reception , there was no sign on the door to say it was shut , the cleaner was cleaning one of the toilets and had a go at me for stepping in there. Would stay again but not happy with this experience.

Great hotel - smelled very clean and looked very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Great breakfast - lots of variety; everything was delicious. Close to cruise ports and restaurants. Cost was significantly lower than most hotels in same area.

I love staying at the BW Ocean Plus! It is the only hotel, on the beach that is affordable. The breakfast is included and is always great! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The hotel is also within walking distance to the Fort Lauderdale Beach park and shops and a quik drive to Las Olas Blvd. The only thing that would set this hotel apart from others surrounding it would be if parking was included in your reservation instead of a seperate, daily fee.

Booked at the last minute and it was definitely a good decision. Everybody was friendly and the breakfast was AMAZING!!The lady that worked at the bar and was over breakfast was sooo nice and very helpful. I really enjoyed talking with her. Next time we are in Fort Lauderdale we will definitely be staying here again!!

The hotel was in a great location nearby shopping malls and restaurants and attractions available. The ocean beach front was beautiful and the location around on hotel premises was very clean and enjoyable .

I was going to a conference in the area. The conference hotel was, frankly, way overpriced. You folks were nearby and were much less expensive so I thought I'd give you a shot. I'm very glad I did, . The hotel was clean,comfortable, had very reasonable rates with friendly, efficient and helpful staff, AND you had breakfast! Yuu met all my needs nicely.

Great place, clean, beautiful amenities and the lady at the front desk, I believe her name was Nola was incredible. She turned water into wine. Definitely recommend especially since it is so near the beach!

We stayed here a year ago and loved it so we came back this year. We were not disappointed! The place is beautifully kept, close to the beach, easy access to everything and the staff is just wonderful! Aliyah Gordon was our check in agent and she did everything to make our stay pleasant. Dated rooms, overpriced, good breakfast, parking charges $20/day (which they describe as nominal) and not private for guests only. Laundry in the garage. Hotel is not near any restaurants at all, nice little pool area but pool looked dirty so did not use. easy check out.

Sales Manager Jenna was awesome from the first email and went above what we have experienced at other hotels to make our group feel welcome. We had 2 teams competing at the Broward County Convention Center and this was the perfect location to stay. A few steps to the beach, a couple blocks to restaurants, and with a bus pass, less than a 5 minute ride on the #40 bus to the Convention Center. The hotel delivers a clean and very comfortable room, (staff was excellent and they asked everyday about the cleanliness). Without question the best breakfast anywhere and long breakfast hours which is a must with 26 teenagers who need to be prepared to compete multiple times a day. Unfortunately during our stay a major water main break left the property without water. Jenna again went above and beyond to help us secure a great rate at another property for the night and when we returned the next day, things were perfect. Will be back next time we compete in Fort Lauderdale.

We had a room with an overview of the pool and deck chairs just for us. I ate at the bar and had a drink, they were both very good. The only negative is that often hotels smell like mold or must since it is on the coast. After smelling the initial cleaning smells, I didn't even notice it. I had stayed there 8 years before and am very glad that I came back to it. Is a good location to the beach and the restaurants.

The hotel is not well marked from the street. Front desk did not inform us on how to park without being asked. No instructions on room location, how to use out door elevator, or get back to the lobby.

This is a nice hotel. The beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are large and shower has lots of water pressure. The double queen, sundeck room we had was a little small so if you are staying for more than a couple of days or with more than 2 people that might pose a problem. The sundeck was great for relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee (or other adult beverages). The breakfast was really good with a nice variety of options. Check in was quick and easy (we actually were able to check in 3 hours early). All the staff was friendly. Park is $21/day and the garage is adjacent to the building. It is kind of small and tight so if there are a lot of visitors with cars it may become difficult to navigate. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

The hotel is a very good option for a Fort Lauderdale stay. I was in town for sales calls and the hotel is very well located on the beachfront near the running routes, beaches and restaurants. The breakfast is simple but yet good and the hotels front desk staff are great. Parking is easy and the rooms and wifi are good. I stayed in a pool side room which was great for easy pool access.

We had no complaints during our before/after cruise stay and will stay again for our next cruise. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Decent complementary breakfast. Great customer service from everyone we encountered.

This hotel has a great location with the beach so close , The best value & quality on the beach. Even though there was a hurricane predicted to hit the beach here , the management & staff kept me up to date on the situation. I can not say enough good things regarding the entire staff here. Thank you so much for having kept our luggages. Our kids had so much fun in the pool while we were enjoying ourselves under the umbrellas eating some nice tacos. Rooms were very comfortable and having a washer at disposition made it very convenient. The hotel is located very close to the beach. (few minutes by foot) Thank you for providing towels. Since 10 days we go from hotel to hotel and always look for price range between 100 and $150 a night, this one has the best quality for the price. Very closed to the beach. Good breakfast with waffles. Parking for our car, not free, but very sheep (15$) compared to the 40/45$ they all asked around. Good choice!

We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise. It is fairly close to the airport and cruise terminal. We were able to walk to dinner at a restaurant near the beach. The hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly. Our room was simple but we weren't looking for anything fancy. The breakfast set up is convenient and worked well for us prior to departing for the cruise terminal. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend!

All was good Lashanda was very great and informative at check in. Suzette in the breakfast area was awesome and accommodating. The only complaint would be the air conditioner in room 523 did not really get cold enough.

Our overall stay wasn't terrible, we just won't be staying there again. Cons: I called this hotel prior to our stay to see if parking was included if we are registered guests. I got confirmation from the location it was included. Upon check-in i was told it is not and it would be $16. I spoke with a supervisor and she would not waive. I even showed the morning manager my phone call history of the direct number I called and to confirm the info. We also asked for our water bottles to be filled at the bar and she literally poured luke warm tap water in them and treated us as an inconvenience. Pros: The fan in our room wouldn't turn on and the maintenance man quickly came and determined it needed to be replaced and offered to change our rooms. We told him jot to bother because it was too much trouble with our kids, but he got us the room next door and helped us move everything over. The breakfast had a nice variety and the employee assisting was extremely helpful and friendly. The location is about a 5 minute walk to the beach and about 10 to some really great restaurants.

Steps from the beach! Central to the water taxi and many restaurants and shops. Pool was nice. Breakfast was amazing, great selection of fresh food and a pretty dining area. The gym was small, but clean and enough quality equipment for my workout. Rosie and Nico at the bar were excellent with recommendations and helpful and super nice. Very enjoyable experience.

It is very easy to find. You are walking distance to the beach. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean but the bathrooms could use a little more space to put your stuff by the sink. The breakfast is always hot and delicious!!

Excellent location, great beach access within steps of the hotel. Not a bad view on either side of hotel. Good breakfast. Rooms are on the smaller side but no one goes to Florida to sit in the room! Have stayed here several times!

This hotel should not be apart of Best Western. You could see the lumps in the bed, the room was very rundown, the toilet flushed on its own and the rooms are very small. We were nerves about sleeping in this room.

Save your money!! Rudest staff I have ever encountered and refuse to resolve issues or refund money. Matter of fact, refused to even let us speak to management. With so many choices in Fort Lauderdale and staffs willing to go above and beyond, why settle for subpar and ignorance!!! Will NEVER recommend this or any other Best Western hotel to family and friends!!!! Change your staff and policies if you plan to stay in buisness.

If you are nice to employees, they are nice to you. Close enough to beach to make it a reasonable choice. Good breakfast and use washable silver ware, plates and cups. Would stay again. Pool is good. Rooms are good with balcony. Cooling unit has to run all the time.

We requested a room with a fridge and stove top but our room had a fridge and microwave because we wanted to be on the high floor w best view. Its close to the beach & very clean. Breakfast is okay but nothing special. The breakfast area is clean and the staff quick and courteous. If you don't care that you don't have close access to major grocery and liquor stores, it is lovely. We just used uber to get around.

As always had no problems while staying here (otherwise I wouldn't keep returning LOL). Staff always friendly and many have been there for a few years as I recognized them from past visits. i did notice a few small differences that can be easily addressed. At the pool, there were only 2 umbrellas for about 10 lounge chairs. There used to be about 5. There also used to be a water cooler outside by the pool and soft music playing in the background. None of these things ruined or took away from my stay but when you stay somewhere every year, you look forward to certain things. Also food did not seem to have the same quality as in past visits. Room clean as always and all staff were friendly.

Hotel was older but clean and a solid value. Rooms looked to been redone recently and if a good clean room at a good value is what your looking for then this is a good place. No fault of the hotel but the beach which was around 200 yards from hotel was absolutely covered in seaweed which was a disappointment not the hotels fault at all but something I wish I knew .

The room was nice for the price and the staff was friendly. The hotel had water system problems so they offered us bottle water to wash our face and brush our teeth. However, the staff was very polite.

The moment I checked in, during my three night stay, and as I checked out--everything was wonderful. The room, the bed, the bathroom, etc. were all very well cleaned each day of my stay. Part of my stay was during the boil water advisory. I was given 3 bottles of water upon check in and strongly encouraged to use them to brush my teeth. On the second day, I asked for another bottle. A front desk staff member said the advisory was lifted and they were now charging for the water but I was still given one with no hesitation. The five different employees I came in contact with were courteous and proud to help with suggestions or questions I had. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented each day. The pool area seemed small since many guests were there but it was still refreshing to spend some time there. Food I ordered at the bar/restaurant was well prepared and served with a genuine smile. I'm very happy with every aspect of my stay there! I'd certainly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning next year. Management take note: you have a great crew working for you!

I loved the stay here very relaxing, good price, good food and drinks and the lady who checked us in Maressa was excellent and Rose made us great drinks at the bar with all our accommodations I would definitely recommend staying here

We arrived around 9pm. Check in service was very quick. Lobby was crowded with people going to/from the pool. Since there were no restaurants within a block we decided to eat in the restaurant in the lobby. The service there was also quick, we had two appetizers. Our room was on the second floor, end of hallway. This area was very quiet. There was an elevator on our end and a exit door to a balcony but still very little noise. Our king bed was very comfortable. Room was exceptionally clean. The next day we ate the free hot breakfast, which was excellent. Many hot items to choose from along with some tasty fruit. After breakfast we walked the block behind the hotel to the beach. Had a nice walk on the beach before departing. Check out was 11pm. We left around 1045pm for the cruise port. Loved the hotel. Will definitely stay there again.

this was a great location to stay there are a few downfalls for this location not close to any of the restaurants you will have to walk to them on dark nights. There is no ATM in this location have to go next door no beach access 2 minute walk breakfast as great bar is also great staff are really helpful also

This was a last minute decision & I was extremely satisfied with their service. I called around 10pm & by 1045 I was all checked in & enjoying the comfy bed. Breakfast was more than expected. Lots of choices & good stuff too. Not just muffins & bagels .Waffles,eggs,bacon, etc. I will certainly go back but it has to be for more than 1 night So I can take full advantage of all they have to offer.

Very pleasant stay. Great beach, airport, and cruise port access. Very friendly staff and wonderful buffet breakfast. They accommodated a gluten free member of our family very well. I understand July may be their off season, but all at a reasonable price.

This hotel lost power for over 12 hours. We were finally told we'd have to vacate the premises, and it was our responsibility to find new accommodation s and a means of getting there, all at our own expense.

My family had a great stay. Staff member Aliyah was a great help, courteous, smiling, knowledgeable and gave us ideas on how to plan our day. Also Maressa at the front was prompt with servicing our needs. Cynthia made friends with my 2 year old son and his eyes widen every morning we saw her. I highly recommend this place.

It was a great stay, the staff was incredibly friendly. We lost power in the middle of the night, they handled it like pros. They had flashlights and even went out to Dunkin donuts for coffee and donuts along with their normal got breakfast. My hat is off to them for all of their hard work and going the extra mile for their guests, it was a great start to our vacation!

Location is awesome. The beach is not really THERE, but is really close, in a very short walking distance. The hotel is apparently going through some renovations, but it is already well fit. Breakfast is very good, and together with the pool are definitely the hotel´s highest points. The rooms are very cozy and well decorated. Maybe because of the beach proximity, the smell is not a perfumed experience. In my opinion, using carpet in the rooms on those situations is not the best choice. We had problem with the first room, that had a broken A/C that dripped on the carpet and left a terrible smell. After we warned the staff about it, they rapidly moved us to another one with the same characteristics of our reservation, as soon as one became available. They were helpful, but no compensation whatsoever was made to us. Not even an apology for the inconvenience. I guess that´s the Best Western way of automatized working. The price was fair and a great bang for the buck. Oh.. Parking is not complimentary, but was very good, inside the propriety. And they allow parcels and packages to be delivered to you there, without extra charges. Also, they can safely store your bags (I didn´t use that service to evaluate it, but saw people doing it with smiley faces.. )

Check in, restaurant, housekeeping staff were all very pleasant. Rose at the restaurant is exceptional. Breakfast crew specifically the black girl was real nice to everyone. She was always making sure the food area was clean, helped guests with issues. Super close to the beach so that's a bonus. The room is comfy and clean.

Today we arrived at our favorite Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. We love the location of BW that is only a few footsteps from the beach. The Hotel also has a great breakfast and beautiful updated rooms. We couldn't ask for a better stay. I would also like to send a special thank you to Ms. T for all the help with our check in and for the nice room we got! We will most definitely return again!

Our family of four stayed here on our last night in Ft. Lauderdale and it was a wonderful experience. After having been overcharged elsewhere for shoddy rooms, or for nice rooms but shoddy service, we couldn't believe that Best Western gave us so much for our money- a big room, a comfy bed, a nice pool, a good breakfast, and the best service we received anywhere in Florida. People were friendly and helpful. Proximity to the beach is excellent too! :-)

Stayed for 6 nights, good hotel. Room we had overlooked the pool area with a small balcony. Room was a good size and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the breakfast good choice each morning and a friendly smile too. Easy walk to the beach and promenade. We didn't have a car which would be useful at Fort Lauderdale but made use of the buses, route 40 stops outside the hotel. Helpful to have guest coin laundry machines which we made use of.

This is my go to stay when working in this area. A great location and a clean new updated property, this hotel can't be beat. From your check in the front desk staff is great. T the GM and her front desk staff Nola and Maria are friendly and efficient. The pool area is great then a drink and a bite to eat. Rose runs a fantastic kitchen and bar. Nico and Channel keep the adult beverages rolling with a cheerful smile. This is a secure property thanks to Micheal and his team. A great place for families as well. How can you not like this place !!!!!

I've stayed at many BW hotels and find they are adequate for my needs. Clean, many convenient, locations,accommodating staff. good breakfast and courteous staff. Comfortable beds. 24/7 coffee is great.

Stayed at this hotel a few days ago. We booked it last minute as we were let down by our friends we were supposed to stay with. I knew exactly the position it was as we have stayed near there. It was 2 minutes from the beach but you need a car to go out to explore. We had a double room which was a good size. The front staff were very obliging and we had to get beach towels from them and they said we could have as many as we wanted. The breakfast was good and the pool was a decent size. There was a bar with a great barman Nico . Also there was a restaurant and the food was quite good and reasonably priced.

The hotel in located across the bridge next to the Broward Convention Center and a steps from the beach in a really safe abd nice area. They offer breakfast with a considerable plenty variety of food and everything is very clean. The rooms are really nice, beds comfy and I recommend the room with valcony to the pool. They have internet included, a bar restaurant in the lobby and a safe parking in the premises with in/out privileges for $15 per day. Is a small hotel but a great value. I would definitely stay again.

Great Location within walking distance of The Beach and several really nice restaurants and a short drive to Markets and Strip Malls. So close to the action it is better to leave your car parked there rather than try to find a spot 1 mile down Seabreeze Blvd which has a constant stream of cars going very slow, you can walk faster. Lots of scooters and bikes to rent for the short distance to the restaurants. The rooms were very nice and had a patio with chairs. My only Less than Excellent comment is that I prefer a softer bed, but I still slept well.

This is a great location! Close to the beach, walking to shopping & restaurants. The gentleman security guard in the front lobby was especially helpful & recommended 2 great restaurants. We ate at both! Property is clean, breakfast is very good. Layout of room seemed a bit awkward, but we enjoyed having a sitting room. Room smelled damp & musty, but we're from the desert, so maybe all of Florida smells this way? LOL.

This was such a horrible stay and an even more horrible experience! We checked in here on a road trip to Florida keys and as we stopped over to get rest the property just was not at all with anyone should expect from a Best Western plus the service from the jump was very poor very inconsistent very unprofessional. there were multiple cleanliness issues inside of the room they claim to be sold out and did not switch our room and as a result of that our baby ended up finding a pill and had it in his mouth. we spoke to management no one cared enough to even come upstairs and grab the pill no one ever asked if the baby was okay no one ever asked if we were okay no one ever cared all they cared about was money they wanted us to pay for our stay they told us that they would comp both nights as a result of the issue keeping us up all night preventing us from getting any amount of rest due to watching the baby throughout the night! When we went to check out the property manager and the front desk manager laughed at us when we inquired about the missing refund. The front desk manager and the property manager were very rude and dismissive and called the police on us and lied saying we were being aggressive at the front desk. I have a video of the entire experience, which will prove to local law enforcement that they are bold faced liars. They do not need to be employed by any hospitality company. Never stay at this property unless you are white and old.

I rented 2 rooms for my daughter and her friends for prom weekend. Love that this hotel is so close to the beach that you can walk. Also close to restaurants. The staff was amazing. They suggested great spots for pictures before the girls went to prom. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel and staff were great. The view was beautiful. I love how close we were to everything and that the free trolley stopped right out front of the hotel. The pool was nice. I was disappointed with the beach, the pool chairs cost and there was too much seaweed.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. We took a somewhat impromptu trip and we're so happy that we decided to stay here! The rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and the location was amazing! The pool was really clean and a nice break from the ocean. We have to acknowledge their PM bartender, Nico!!! He was wonderful and we really enjoyed his company! He was personable and friendly. His recommendations were on point too! We would absolutely recommend staying at this hotel and it will be our go to in the future as well!

Poor breakfast, some fruits were served later in the morning although breakfast buffet was open from 7:00 in the morning. Parking garage available on site, nice beach 2 minutes walk from the hotel, beach towels available ag the front desk.

This hotel is very nice and I would recommend it to anybody to stay there. The hotel is clean, the rooms are a bit small if you are travelling with a family, but they do have a fridge and microwave in the room. The Air conditioner is a bit noisy during the night so don't be surprised. The beach is very close to the hotel. Be aware of the high cost for getting a beach chair and umbrella. Not cheap. It cost us for 2 chairs and an umbrella $57 US. Staff are friendly and the breakfast overall was good. Hotel is using too much plastic instead of real dishes, so not very environmentally friendly.

Stayed here for a one night stop before we left on a cruise. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't take advantage of the pool or beach. But, the hotel was very nice and clean. Bed and room were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with several options. Overall, it was a great stay

Small, quiet and friendly hotel around 100m from the great beach. Free breakfast is pretty good and varies daily, but always something for everyone. Bar food is really good and well priced as are the drinks. A small, but normally quiet pool and sun deck area that gets the sun all day. Rooms are clean and beds comfy. Bars and restaurants an easy 10 min walk away along the beach. Small gym with 4 pieces of CV and a free weights/bench. Rose, who's on the bar most days, is great and has top local recommendations.

We stayed here on Friday 26th April 2019 before taking a cruise ship from the nearby cruise terminal. We had expected a good class stay associated with the BW+ product. However we arrived to find the builders making significant changes, and a lot of noise! The Reception Manager explained that the works were so that we had a "better experience next time" -WHAT?. Apparently this hotel is changing its affiliation and becoming a Marriott - so they didn't care? Well that's the impression we got. Our room, 512 with single King Bed was clean enough, but the furniture was visible tatty - so no maintenance because of the change? Breakfast was up to standard and the internal corridors seemed newly carpeted. Getting to the cruise port is expensive s the Hotel sells the shuttle at $12.00 per person. We returned our car to the airport and took a taxi for $15.00 including tip. It's annoying to meet such a dismissive attitude from the reception staff, when my way of dealing with the situation would have been to advise customers of the disruption prior to booking, and then to soften the disruption with an event. Would we stay here again, or use a hotel chain that puts customers higher up the scale?

Room was clean. Breakfast was very good. Kids loved the cinnamon buns. Staff was friendly. 1-2 blocks walking to the beach. Balcony faced the highway and parking lot, don't waste your money. They charge $15/night for parking. It was a little confusing getting to the garage.

BWOSI is still the best place to be for us. Coming here since many years, we can relax very good. Staff and management very friendly und helpful. Short distance to beach and to places to eat. We are looking forward to be back soon.

The check-in was a slow process even though I did the online check-in. Also, we have a truck and it was a very tight fit in the parking garage. Other than that, our stay was very good. Rooms are nice and the breakfast was really good!

We stayed here for the Tortuga Music Festival- so on the positive side, it's right next door which was very convenient. The pool area was nice as was the lobby breakfast area. Not so nice was the actual room. It was very musty smelling and the bathroom was dirty and shabby. Chunks out of door that were sloppily patched. The back of the door had stains that were not cleaned. The tile on the floor was also dirty. The bed was probably the worst I've ever “slept” in - rock hard with no give at all. The cleaning staff in the parking garage were screaming at each other with no regard for guests in the area. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this hotel needs to do much better in the cleanliness department and professionalism of their staff. Get some decent beds too. For the prices you charge, especially around Tortuga, I expected better.

Choose location for reasonable price. Used one night before and one night after cruise. Pleased. Rooms clean and updated. Staff helpful and friendly. Kept luggage as we arrived by plane early first visit. Check in time is not till 3. It is located among lots of condos. Not directly on beach. You do have to walk to get to beach. Restaurants and stores are also a good walk away. It worked for us for a cruise

After booking our vacation to Florida, needed to adjust our trip to see some music in Fort Lauderdale and booked BW Plus Oceanside Inn to stay the night in Ft. Lauderdale. Although we had never been to Ft Lauderdale, we have stayed at a number of Best Westerns and this one did not disappoint. We passed the entry for the hotel the first time around but turned around farther up. Plenty of parking located in underground garage. Hotel is located near the beach (but not right on it) - small walk to it. Walking into the lobby, we were immediately greeted by some of the nicest people that we have ever met (and she was the supervisor helping out as it was busy). Checked us in and saw that we were BW members and gave us a small bag. For that day as well as the next whenever she saw us was always happy to help - doesn't this lady get a day off? All the people that we came across were very friendly. Room was very clean - we had a room with a common area patio overlooking the pool which wasn't as noisy as we thought it would be. Classic BW room w/ small frig etc. After we checked in, we went for a walk along the sidewalk by the beach and just relaxed after our drive. Short walk from shops and restaurants. Went to the show, came back late - had a good sleep (bed was comfortable) and enjoyed the breakfast - there were even some vegan items for us which sometimes is challenging it seems for places. Breakfast room open, airy and pretty large - enough seats for all as it seemed like the hotel was pretty full. And of course, the same lady with the smile checked us out. Add free parking, relatively quiet location and good price - what are you waiting for? If we come back to Ft Lauderdale, would definitely come here again.

Very pleased with our stay pre and post cruise. This hotel is a hidden gem and met all of our needs. Staff very professional, helpful, courteous and friendly. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The bar/restaurant has a tasty menu, something for everyone and very welcoming after a day on the beach which is a short 3 minute walk away. Water taxi stop and many shops and other attractions within walking distance. Thank you and we will be returning.

We arrived late at night after a flight from UK to Miami and drive to Fort Lauderdale. The friendly welcome was an indication of how we were to be treated for the next 8 days by all the staff. The hotel is located close to but not on the beach, within walking distance of a variety of restaurants. It is well maintained and clean. Altogether a very comfortable and relaxing experience.

The hotel is within about a mile to several eating places. The beach is nearby but during our stay it was closed to get ready for a music festival. The rooms are pretty much average. The front desk is not all that friendly. Check in is at 3 but you can store your luggage. The breakfast is at 7 and in the past has been good but we had an early checkout and did not use this time, did not even get a cup of coffee. I'm still looking for something better on our next trip. Location and BW Rewards are the only reason I stayed here again.

I recently stayed one night at the Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn prior to a cruise. The hotel is clearly an older hotel that was renovated, but they did a good job overall. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Service was pretty good considering how busy the hotel was (March Break). And finally, location location location!! The property has a direct access to the beach and is about 15 min walk from restaurants and touristy area. I would definitely consider going back.

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The pool was FREEZING although it's advertised as heated. Staff wouldn't turn on the heater when asked. Service at the bar/restaurant was slow and incorrect, except for one amazing staff member. Otherwise staff was rude and made you feel like an inconvenience. Not worth the price AT ALL!

location location location. beach just across the street, airport and cruise terminal not far away. the breakfast buffet will blow your mind with the variety of items. shower was huge. everything was clean and comfy.

The rooms are renovated, nice and clean. Breakfast is included and it is good for all ages. The hotel does not have ocean view but the beach is just a block ahead. There was only one elevator working.

This motel is just a couple minutes' walk to the beach. Our kids also enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool. The breakfast had a nice variety. We enjoyed our stay and would come back! There is a balcony with two chairs! Bye!

Hotel room was just as any other hotel. Nothing special and nothing to complain about. The nice part was the balcony with a view to the pool. What was disappointing was that the elevator was not working. There was this lady in the lobby complaining that she cannot get in her room since her husband I believe was in a wheelchair but there was no one to help her out. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Just to add, its a bit pricey for what you really get there.

My family has been coming to stay at the Best Western in Ft. Lauderdale because it lives up to its name. It is simply the best. The hotel manager, Carolina has been the manager there for nearly 20 years and she does an outstanding job to ensure that the needs of her guests are met. You can tell that the staff really like working there because they have been there for a long time. Because of her excellent and superior service, the staff are committed to providing the best possible experience for guests. There are too many names to mention but everyone was excellent including the front desk staff; the breakfast staff, housekeepers, baggage storage, and bar servers. We went during Spring Break and it was extremely busy with so many kids. Nevertheless, Carolina and her staff still managed to keep the place looking immaculate. I just truly love her style and approach. She, Tee, and everyone else made us feel that we were family. The place is also very close to the beach yet off the beaten path for you to enjoy peace and quiet. I strongly urge everyone to visit this place and stay here for the mere pleasure of being served by Carolina and her staff. I plan to visit this hotel for many years to come. The Best Western was nicer than we expected. It is a short walking distance to the beach, quiet, and the staff was really friendly. We really enjoyed the bar tender / waitress who has been there for 29 years!

Hotel is older but has had upgrades done. Short walk to beach. Could walk to water taxi. Several good restaurants in the area. Breakfast included with eggs etc. nice looking pool but we did not use. We stayed one night before a cruise. Comfy bed. Not a bad choice

Have stayed at this hotel once before a cruise. It is handy to the beach and pier and I appreciate the breakfast buffet. I realize that check in is at 3 pm, but it would be considerate if a little leeway was allowed, as airline arrivals are not always exact. We have stayed at other hotels that got us into a room an hour early. We travel from Ma., I am 80, and was exhausted but we had to lock up our luggage and walk around Spring Break for a couple of hours. I'm sure at least one room was open. Your desk staff is very young and maybe not experienced with good customer service.

The location and breakfast is pretty good, but the staff is absolutely awful. The front desk people are absolutely awful. From making up charges on our accounts to treating us like trash because we're on spring break (charging us an extra $100 deposit and constantly threatening to not refund it, making us return to the room after checkout to consolidate all our trash even though we piled it together since we weren't given a bag, of course being threatened with our deposits, and many other rude scenarios), the front desk staff literally ruined my day at both check in and check out because the entire time I felt like I was being scammed out of money. We paid the same amount as other travelers not on spring break, yet we were treated like children they were trying to get as much money as possible out of. They wouldn't even let us leave the hotel before they sent someone up to check every inch of our room to make sure they couldn't take away our deposits. Maintenance people would knock on doors sometimes as early as 7:30-8 AM, waking us up constantly as they made their way down the hall since literally everyone was like no come back later. Being woken up that early on vacation is less than ideal and was really aggravating when you could hear it throughout the entire hall. It was absolutely embarrassing for Best Western and I will NEVER be back at any on of their hotels, whether I'm on spring break or not.

Stayed here twice before and after our cruise; the bathrooms are still small. Going home I foolishly left me tablet in our room. The housekeeping staff found it and when I inquired, already at the gate for my airplane, they confirmed that they had it and could send it to me. After an exchange of emails I'm assured it's on its way! Heartfelt thanks to Carolina Bello, General Manager and Maria Escala, Housekeeping.

This hotel lives up to the Best Western high standards. The staff were all very friendly, with some of them asking us overseas visitors about where we came from. The food and accommodation was first rate. They try their best to keep the Spring Breakers under control. On one night I complained about blaring music at 2am from a nearby room and they acted immediately. I would definitely go here again, but NOT in Spring, with a very small minority of Spring Breakers ruining other people's experience. I know this isn't the hotel's fault and they're very strict with them, but be warned if you like your sleep and avoid Fort Lauderdale at this time!!

The staff wAs helpful, friendly and always made you feel comfortable. Our room was always ready and clean. The front desk was always ready to help with directions etc. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff was excellent.

Horrible service in the bar with the bar/restaurant about 30% full. The staff in the hotel was very cold and unfriendly. In all my years staying at the Best westen I have never seen this level of apathy before. It was as though we were inconveniencing the staff by being at the hotel. Very strange indeed.

Relaxing and clean. Food is tasty and priced right. You really do t need to 3ver leave the hotel. Location fantastic beside the beach. The staff are friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The pool is in full view of the lobby which is nice.

We stayed here upon arriving in Florida for our Caribbean cruise the next day.The room was wonderfully spacious and clean. The lobby/bar/breakfast area and pool are all bright and modern. The staff were very helpful and provided us with the local info we needed for our stay.

Stayed at Best Western Oceanside Inn prior to the start of our Caribbean Cruise. All staff were extremely nice and friendly. Our non-smoking two queen bed room overlooking the pool was very clean. Inn location was perfect with a casual walk to the beach along the Fort Lauderdale strand. Included daily full buffet breakfast with a variety of choices both hot and cold was excellent. Besides the reasonable rates the Inn has NO RESORT FEES!

Very clean and fresh poolside room and staff were accomodating in all aspects. Pool area is well maintained with lounges, tables and umbrella avaiable. Breakfeast buffet was as excellant as we have found staying here over the years.

Location is perfect - close enough to strip to walk but far enough out of the noise. Short little walk to beach. Great pool with 2nd level deck access rooms. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Can't say enough good things!

We stayed at Best Western Oceanside Inn as a part of the stopover during our cruise vacation in February 2019. The hotel is less than 15 minutes from airport and cruise terminal. The hotel is right next to the beach, main boardwalk, water taxi and all restaurants. The place is very conveniently located to all main attractions. We were a group of 15 people.We stayed on fifth floor and had partial ocean view. The rooms are cozy and very clean. Hotel has a nice outdoor pool, bar and restaurant. The hotel provides sumptuous hot breakfast. The staff is extremely helpful. Hotel manager Carolina Bello went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. She is very pleasant, knowledgeable about the area and eager to help. She and her staff were constantly checking on guests to make sure that they were comfortable. The place is a hidden gem tucked in midst of all the expensive high rise hotels and condominiums. If you are looking for excellent customer service and great location, Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn is worth your attention...!!

The breakfast was very good and the room is light, bright and clean. I enjoyed lounging on the nice size deck looking over the pool. The staff was helpful making me and my brother's one day stay memorable.

Having never been to this location or city, the parking was confusing. The help was NOT very clear has to how it all worked, but eventually we figured it out on our own. The room was spacious and clean, though the view only has a corner view of the ocean, so be sure to get a room with a full ocean view if that is what you are looking for. The restaurant/bar had delicious tacos. The full breakfast offers enough choices for the pickiest of eaters. As a BW rewards member, I have been to better BWs.

We had a great stay, breakfast was delicious the room was nicely decorated. Close access to the beach and you can ask the front desk to borrow beach chairs and umbrellas as well as some sand toys! We are in the onsite restaurant and the food was delicious! Will stay again!

We arrived at 5:00am and the staff greeted us with a smile but of course our rooms weren't ready. We hung out in the pool area and were able to get some coffee while we waited. Our group slowly got our rooms but were able to enjoy the great hot breakfast beforehand. The rooms were great and we booked the ones with the patio on the second level.

Overall a pleasant stay. Just wanted to go get some sun as living in the cold north (Toronto) was becoming dreary. The proximity to the beach and nearby restaurants was handy. We didn't need a car as we used Uber. The hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Hotel is only a few minute walk to beach. They offer a great continental breakfast. Great location to cruise port and airport. Staff is friendly and hotel is clean. We had a great stay on our family vacation.

Stayed at this BW hotel last year for the A1A Marathon and turned out they still had a room (the last one) available for a very reasonable price when I was looking for rooms for this year's race. The hotel was only a 20min Uber ride from the start of the race and a 1/4 mile from the finish which was great when having to get back to the hotel after running the race. The front desk staff at check-in were a little 'business like' although the staff at checkout were very friendly. The room was very clean with comfortable beds and also had a TV fridge, microwave and coffee maker in it. The microwave was a bit on the noisy side due to the tray not turning properly, but it did its job. My only real gripe was that they would only extend the checkout time from 11am to noon and that this info did not appear to have been passed on to house keeping since they knocked on the door several times to see if we had checked out yet. If I can, I will definitely stay at this BW hotel for next ear's race.

I can not say enough about the excellent customer service we received at this hotel. From the minute we arrived, until the second we checked out, we had excellent customer service. What an amazing property whose staff understands customer service.

I flew from MN to FLL the day before a cruise and stayed at the Best Western Oceanside Inn. I had a 2 queen bedroom with a small balcony & paid $292.96 for 4 people. I was pleasantly surprised that it was ready when I arrived before noon. The hotel was a little musty smelling, but not bad, and we were happy with how clean it was. It had a pool (no hot tub though) and a restaurant. There are signs by the pool area saying that no outside food/drinks are allowed, however I had pizza delivered from a nearby restaurant and was able to sit at a poolside table without anyone saying this wasn't acceptable. The hotel staff were pleasant, giving us advice and toiletries. There was a nice breakfast selection of hot & cold food (yogurt, cereal, waffles, bacon, eggs, fruit, etc). The beach was a short walk away and it was a fairly easy walk to restaurants & a CVS. We ate at the Drunken Taco restaurant which had yummy food, but was a bit pricey (no free chips/salsa). This hotel I felt was an economical choice that was easy Uber drive from the airport & cruise port and close to the beach. I'd stay here again.

We have just returned from a 7-night break at the Best Western Plus Oceanview. We were allocated a 4th floor corner room. It had a dual aspect floor to ceiling windows which gave a great view to the south west harbour area where you could watch the cruise ships enter and leave the Port, the view towards north gave you a view of the Marina and Ocean Boulevard. There was a small balcony with two chairs and a table, which was nice because it provided fresh air into the room rather than always relying on the air con. Also nice to sit out a watch the sun set. The room was well appointed, clean and had everything you would expect from a 3.5 star facility. The bathroom was clean, the towels and sheets were like new and there were always ample towels and toiletries. From front of house, to bar and housekeeping all the staff were pleasant, helpful and professional. The Hotel has ample underground parking which at $15 a day was reasonable compared to other options nearby. Breakfast was included and was the usual attire of a selection or hot and cold options, with toast cereals and fruit etc. we only used it a couple of times but it was also well stocked, clean and plenty staff on duty to assist when required. The Bar which is situated within the hotel lobby was well stock with spirts and beers in cans (no draft). We didn't eat within the bar area, but the food being served looked well cooked and decent portion size and I never heard anyone complain. The pool area was very nice getting the sun from early morning through to sunset. Ample chairs, sunbeds, table and umbrellas. The area immediately around the hotel was quiet with the main area of restaurants, bars and beach are only a few minutes walk away, which was nice because you were away from a lot of traffic and live music etc. All in we had a great time at this hotel and would certainly consider staying here again. It took about 15 minutes to drive from the airport and even less time if your were staying over after or before taking a cruise. The only thing which I noticed which would have made a significant improvement would have been to have the corridor carpets shampooed, I appreciate light carpets must be a nightmare to keep clean but first impressions do count.

We stayed here one night before our cruise. Nice staff and clean rooms. They have a very good breakfast with plenty of seating. Our favorite part was getting beers and excellent burgers from the bar and eating by the pool. Great staff at the bar and grill! We will always choose this Best Western for our pre cruise stay.

This is an older hotel in a great location. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Short ride to the airport. Comfortable clean room and friendly staff. This hotel has a complimentary breakfast buffet.

Staff were very helpful, courteous, competent, layout of amenities convenient, complementary breakfasts "to die for" location of property convenient, easy access to trolleys, public transportation- an excellent property for teams training at the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Complex, only .6 miles from thje property

We just love it there! The front desk lady is very nice. The lady that works the bar is very nice also and remembers us every time we visit. The rooms are always clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is great!

What a great hotel for a quick overnight stay! Walking distance to the beach and deli. Clean, comfortable room with balcony - partially obstructed ocean view. Breakfast was good-quite a variety to choose from and the staff kept everything spotless!

Was easy to find and close to Ft. Lauderdale boardwalk and restaurants. We were there less than 24 hours. We stayed overnight between flights to visit friends. We did have dinner in downtown Ft. Lauderdale on the main street - I think Hotel Beverly.

Although the hotel is well positioned it leaves a lot to be desired. The room was spacious but very basic and I truly hope that my husband and I never have to endure another breakfast that was served at the hotel. Plastic knives and forks on paper plates and the food mimicked the cutlery and crockery. I have given this hotel 2 stars purely for its position.

Cruising out of Fort Lauderdale, this is a perfect stay the night before. Cruise parking less than 5 miles away and you can even see the ships, if you're in the right room. Comfortable rooms, quiet, very personable staff, restaurant/bar in the lobby area, awesome pool and great breakfast! What more can I say? Perfect spot...perfect stay!

The Best Western Plus was a great hotel to stay at for a few days prior to taking a cruise. The location is ideal. The hotel is only a few minutes drive away from both the airport and Port Everglades, and a quick three minute walk to the beach (depending on your pace). The complimentary buffet breakfast was really good! I must admit, some websites only rated this hotel as a 2.5-star hotel, so I was a bit apprehensive about staying here. However, I am so glad I did! I would stay here again.

This hotel is way overpriced and outdated! The rooms are small and dirty and our room had a very strange fish smell! It was such a terrible smell. The bathroom was disgusting...they painted over the dust and dirt on the baseboards! It was so dirty and gross. We changed our reservation to one less night and were told it was fine; however we got charged for that night. When we left we put our keys in the “express checkout” container and left. Now management is saying because we never “physically came to the front desk and checked out” they are going to charge us for the extra night. ????? Why didn't the lady at the front desk not tell us this and why do they have an express checkout box for the keys? The service at the restaurant is terrible...we got half our food and without exaggerating waited another full hour for the last burger. Apparently the “no smoking” signs mean nothing as other guests were smoking everywhere. Would not recommend this place — way nicer cleaner places just a few blocks away for less money. This place is so dirty and outdated.

This hotel has everything. Friendly & helpful staff, excellent free buffet, comfortable rooms and a great location at the beach a d short walk to water taxi or good restaurants. We will go back ! It an easy Uber from the airport. It's great for a stay between flights.

friendly service, beautiful room, delicious breakfast. They even stored our luggage when we arrived too early. Only $6.70 from the pier and $25 from airport. Restaurant was friendly and delicious but a little pricey.

I stayed at the Best Western Oceanside Inn for several nights while traveling on business. This was my third time staying at this hotel. My wife and infant daughter joined me on part of the first part of the stay. Before we even got to the room, the hotel staff had brought up a roll-away crib for us to use. We had a room with a nice balcony that looked out over the pool. Our room was quiet, even though the hotel was busy the entire stay. The hotel has a great free breakfast, with options that change slightly every morning. There is convenient parking at the hotel for a small fee. The best part is that it's a two minute walk to the beach. Makes it a convenient place to stay if you want to get up and watch the sunrise or catch a little sun in the sand! I will most likely stay here again while traveling on business.
