Best Western Plus Flatonia Inn

The front desk personnel were great. Rooms are nice, very clean and all amenities worked well. Very nice place to stay. Great place located in a small Texas town in the country. We will use it often as we work on our property located nearby in the country.

Hotel is very clean very quiet and very relaxing. My wife loved that she could roll her wheelchair all the way in the shower. Beds were at little high for my wife. The night attendant made a box she could stand on to be able to get on the bed. I used a step I had in the truck throw . The hotel could look into getting a step to help getting into the bed but overall great hotel.

This place was very clean but the room was very humid so I felt sticky all night even after taking a shower. With it being humid outside, the last thing I expected is for it to be humid in my room. Speaking of the shower, the water pressure was very low, like barely coming out and the shampoo and conditioner and body lotion they leave you are barely enough for one person. The bottles were about the size of my pinky finger, literally!

Wont stay again, they did not have a handicap room for my dad as I requested and have confo# for, put us on 3rd floor, then moved us to a nasty mildew smelling room next day and the hadicap shower leaked everywhere and room smelled like mildew....

The bathroom was disgusting, the pool and hot tub were not cared for (100 degree weather ). We wanted to cool off and couldn't . The bed was ok and the room floor seemed like it was vacuumed. The breakfast bar was minimal and undesirable. We had to go to a local restaurant.

Check your room before you settle in. No remote for TV. No wash rags. Hair on walls in shower. Found wash rag in drawer beside bed full of food. Breakfast was ok. No real fruit juice, all fruit punch.

Terrific place to stay in Flatonia. The property is relatively new. The staff is helpful And friendly. The room was very nice and there were plenty of outlets in the room. The breakfast was adequate. I would say average and about what you would expect and nothing outstanding.

This hotel was clean, quiet, and, as a solo female traveler, I felt safe and looked after. Desk clerk Adam got me into a great room and helped me sign up for the BW rewards program so I could get a better deal. The next morning, desk clerk Derek printed out the membership number for me along with my receipt so I could use it again in my journey across the country. I'd happily stay here again. This hotel was cleaner and nicer than the Hilton Garden Inn I'd stayed in the night before.

Clean hotel, easy access, no highway noise, well lit parking area, professional front desk staff, good coffee. Recommend I stay at this property. Don't miss ‘Darlin Diner' in town for great breakfast or lunch.

Everything was lovely about our experience here. The check in was prompt, friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. There was no vacancy the day we arrived, but breakfast was not crowded.

Pro: spacious room, comfortable bed and pillows. Con: Overall cleanliness is hit or miss. There was trash on the floor behind a chair and behind the bed. Stay safe and bring your own disinfectant wipes for the tv remote, toilet handle and door knobs. The thermostat did not work properly. The fan would not stay on and the system never cooled the room to the set temperature. Maintenance is slack at best. The shower heads need to be REPLACED! We have stayed here on business several times and every room has a terrible showerhead with clogged openings that cannot be adjusted to a satisfactory spray. New showerheads are not a capital expenditure and make a great difference in comfort for weary travelers. The towels are thin and small...better towels would be welcome as well. The "breakfast" is miserable. The same fatty sausage floating in grease with prefab scrambled "egg" product every day. Staff is inattentive, items run out and are NOT replaced. We had to ASK for bread to toast, the desk clerk told us WE COULD GET OUR OWN from the kitchen as they were out of baggies! She DID NOT even offer to get it for us! It was OK for us to put our bare hands into the bread bag but the staff couldn't put bread out except in a baggie? I couldn't believe it! The desk clerks were indifferent, not flat out rude but clearly not interested in accommodating guests. A landscape crew was working on the grounds while we were there. They parked a truck across 3 spaces right in front of the hotel and left it overnight. We told the desk clerk it was blocking our access to guest parking and needed to be moved. The clerk did not even make eye contact with us. He mumbled something or other, turned around and walked off! He didn't seem to understand why it was not OK for hotel maintenance people to take up guest parking! The staff needs a major attitude adjustment here, they are butt lazy and just don't care.

I arrived at Best Western Flatonia after a friend's wedding. I drove 4.5 hours to Flatonia from DFW and stayed at this hotel specifically for the online reviews. Mistake. When the wedding ended we went to a bar across the street until closing time, around 1am. When I went to close my tab at the bar, the staff admittedly gave my credit card to someone else. This staff member asked me where my hotel was and decided to meet me at the hotel, assuming the whole wedding party was staying there. I told him that wasn't necessary because any stranger could have my card and I would get online and cancel it right away. In DFW bars, it's not standard to have the bar keep your card. I'm 32 years old and I've never lost a credit card. I cancelled my card on the way from the bar to the hotel. Again, there was no way to be sure who my card was given to as the bar had dozens and dozens of patrons (if not more). Most of these patrons were NOT with the wedding party. Even so, I knew ONE person at the wedding outside of the bride and that was the one friend I brought with me. When I arrived at the hotel, the bar staff member who lost my card was waiting with the lady who checked me in. I didn't see a name on the staff member. The bar staff member, next to her, said he was looking for my card with hotel guests. I asked him to please not talk to me. I was upset due to him legitimately giving my away to someone in a full bar that was not me. He did not listen, kept talking to me, and stayed put. The hotel staff member allowed this. As the staff member attempted to check me in she gets a failure message saying my card on file was declined. I said “That makes sense because this gentleman who won't leave gave my card to someone else at a bar.” She says, condescendingly, “You don't have another card to pay with?” I said “No, I didn't bring them with me as I didn't expect my card to be given away.” I ask my friend to pay for us and they do. This whole time the bar staff member, who gave my card away at the bar, is standing there trying to talk to me, asking why I'm being rude to him. I say “Dude. You GAVE my credit card away. I already reported it lost. I literally don't know who has it. Now I don't have a way to pay for this hotel at 2am.” The hotel member interjects and says “Ma'am, I don't understand why you're being rude to him when he's trying to help you. You need to calm down.” First of all, why did she allow some random stranger to stand there and harass me? Mind you, this man was not a guest. Secondly, did she not understand this man gave my card away? Thirdly, why did she not ask him to leave so guests can peacefully check in? After my friend pays, while this bar man is still trying to talk to me, I once again remind him to please stop talking to me as he is responsible for my lost credit card. The staff member says “Ma'am, I think it's time for you to go to your room now.” This man was not the guest. He had no radon to be there. I was the guest. This staff member had no place to let this man stay there, much less talk to me and bother me as I'm just trying to figure out how to pay after he lost my card. My friend pays, I be quiet, and go to my room because I'm fuming and don't want to explode. Upon arrival into the room it smells like urine. The bathroom sink has a foul odor and a brown ring around the drain cover. The toilet has a yellow-orange stain reminiscent of urine. The wall next to the bathtub has a hole in it where tiles are missing. The AC unit is making noise so loud it's hard to sleep. It was 2am, home was 4.5 hours away, I'm in Flatonia, so where else was I gonna go? I shouldn't have to given this hotel was $170 for all this trouble. That's not cheap for such a subpar experience.

This relatively new property is well maintained and offers a lovely pool, a good breakfast and was fairly quiet. It is very convenient on I 10. The rooms are large. There is good parking that is well lit.

Don't bother staying there. You can not even get a good cup of coffee. Let alone breakfast. That they advertise. And the hot tub is not hot. And they close it at 8:00 pm Most are open until 10:00 or 11:00 pm. The clock in the room was not plugged in or on nothing. No one cares about the hotel. The hotel needs remodeling. new carpet. I did sleep good and took a hot shower.

I made reservations the same day I checked in. I checked in at 8pm and was given keys to room 221. I liked the location as it was far from the elevator and above the gym. I was close to the stairs and I could see my car parked outside the window. Cleanliness could be better, there was 2 dirty Q-tips in the bathroom trash when I used the restroom the first time. I noticed there was 2 push pins in the wall (a red one and a green one)above the bed nearest the window. The next day I noticed there was a dirty sock on the floor next to the bed near the AC on the wall. The AC was awesome in the room. The microwave and mini fridge worked. Location wise, there is a McDonalds/gas station & Subway within walking distance. There were a few good local restaurants nearby. It was conveniently off the I-10.

The bedding was fresh and clean but the rest of the room was dirty. Something had been spilled on the floor, and doors, side of chair and headboard. The shower walls had dirt and had not been wiped down. There were many hairs in bathroom floor. The room had not been vacuumed- there were coins on the floor. There were hairs in the refrigerator. There was urine on the sides of the toilet where it screws into floor. The hall outside our room was not vacuumed until the night of our departure- there was a teeth flosser laying there all week. The room wasn't in bad shape it just needed a deep cleaning. So I bought supplies and cleaned myself. The hotel felt save and the lobby was well maintained. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The Google review images are false and misleading. My daughter booked this hotel for us based on those images. They were for a different hotel in a different city. She was very disappointed when we arrived to a basic interstate hotel instead of a beautiful hotel on the water. This is very dishonest and false advertising. No other hotels were available in the area-because of the Round Top Antique show- so we had to stay despite being dissatisfied

Refrigerator would not close properly. I had to put something in front of it in order to use it. Staff did offer to switch rooms, but we had already settled in. The thermostat on the wall in the room did not work. It worked from the unit itself. The water did not get hot. It was tepid-warm, but not hot. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was very good (sausage, bacon, eggs, waffles, cereals, pastries, breads, yogurts) Rooms were large and clean

We tend to stick to Best Western plus for a better experience although there are decent regular best westerns. This was below the standard. The hall was not vacuumed, the bathroom was not scrubbed clean. The breakfast was minimal... No plates, the hot food trays were empty. No staff around. No one there at check out either. If we paid $75 or less, we could have shrugged it off. However we paid quite a bit for a less than satisfactory stay

Beds are super comfortable and rooms were clean, small stain on the carpet which is why they didn't get 5 stars. Whoever works there hangs out in the back so we just left at check out time rather than ring the bell and wait. However at check-in, she did bring us a new room key when our first room smelled smoky, although this is a non smoking hotel. I thought that was very service oriented.

I've always tried to stay at a Best Western because the accommodations have always been nice. We've stayed at this motel before and gave it a very good rating. However, this stay was the worst of my Best Western experiences. Upon check in we were told our room was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broken. The stairwells are not air-conditioned so by the time we reached the 3rd level, we were huffing and puffing and sweaty. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was not working so I had to climb down to the 2nd floor to get ice. I don' know when the elevator went out but the least they could have done was discounted our room rate. The bathroom sink had a very very slow drain. I don't know if the previous customer reported it or not. I wish motels would buy showerheads with very few holes that you wouldn't have to worry about clogged holes and you would have a good spray of water instead of so many holes that get clogged up overtime and then emit only a very light shower of water that takes forever to rinse the soap off your body and if you switch to the 2nd setting the water comes out with such force it hurts your body. Most of these things may have happened at the last minute and it was the weekend but it's too bad they didn't offer compensation. The good things were that the room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable and the people were very nice. Despite all this, I will most likely stay here again.

Front desk staff was very nice! But once my family checked in our room, we noticed the room was not cleaned very well. The night stand between the beds were very dusty. The accent chair was dirty with some type of dirt residue. The tables had cup stains. Every hotel I've stayed at during the pandemic had notes and stickers before you enter your room that advises you the room has been sanitized for your safety.. can't say the same for this best western! The property was nice, the staff was friendly but the room disappointed me. Would not stay here again.

his is by far the nicest place to stay in Flatonia. The entire place is clean and safe and the rooms are very comfortable. I will recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family and I plan on coming back soon.

Enjoyed a restful night during last minute business travel. Conveniently located off I-10 but set back far enough from the road to be quiet. Courteous staff, comfy bed, and powerful water pressure in the shower.

Some plumbing was loose. Nice and clean. Newer accomodations. Easy on and off. Comfortable bed. I stay here whenever I serve at Jordan Ranch Retreat Center. It is one exit away, which makes it a convenient location.

Everything you could need or want under one roof and right out the door....swimming pool and Hot tub. Exercise while doing the laundry if needed. Hot breakfast served compliments of the house...until 9 am.

Clean, comfortable hotel; staff was courteous and helpful. Price may have been a bit high for a low demand night but no complaints about the room or staff or breakfast. Would stay there again if we need a room in the area.

.Only problem was the spa was not working after being told it was.So we booked a reservation and very disappointed after arrival.Staff person Dereree had checked spa on day shift and stated working.Next shift present on arrival and started spa.Did not warm up during our stay to use.

We came for Czhilispiel and chose to stay at this hotel because it was convenient for us. We have stayed at this hotel in the past and enjoyed our stay then and knew we would enjoy it again. There was no disappointment.

Had a wonderful time there and Best Western Plus allowed us to have a great stay. The Rooms were clean, breakfast was filling. Service was outstanding they met our expectations. I would like to give our Thanks to Amanda, she did a great job.

Last minute reservations due to inaccurate VRBO location. Front desk staff was great! Beds comfortable, we had 2 rooms for 5 ladies. Breakfast, was good loved the TEXAS shaped waffles and very good coffee. Would stay there again in ever in the area. Right on the HWY so good location to a the small towns around where we went to tour the Painted Churches of Texas, which we loved.

We stayed at this hotel for a night when going to a friend's house in Flatonia. It's a nice hotel relatively newer, so it's in good shape. We thought they may have jacuzzi suites, but this one didn't. Still a nice place and close to our location. Will probably stay again if we go back to our friend's house.

Stayed at the Bestwestern + in Flatonia, TX for the weekend. It was a very pleasant stay. The room was large and nice. Very cosy, clean, and luxuries. The breakfast was delicious. Variety of hot food of waffles, bacon, eggs and cold stuff like cereal. I would stay here again and any other Best Western +

Had to go to Flatonia for business and looking for hotels were few and far between. We were fortunate enough to find this Best Western Plus and it was a great nice sleep and woke up to a great breakfast and it was quiet. I would definitely stay there again. We tried a Best Western Plus last year in Oregon and because we were so content a that Best Western we decided to try again and we were just as pleased this time.

My husband and I broke down on our way home from a weekend trip. We had to stay overnight unexpectedly so we could have our car checked out the next morning. We were SO PLEASED to find this beautiful, clean and welcoming hotel a few miles up the road. The employees were very sweet, the whole hotel was very clean and there were plenty of breakfast options. We 100% reccomend this hotel to anyone passing by!

Stayed on 5/8. Room was very clean and we got a great rate. Huge selection of TV channels. Employees friendly. Breakfast was about the same as other Best Westerns. Got a good nights sleep and I could not have asked for more. I would recommend and return.

This is a very nice hotel with very clean and quite rooms. The internet is very fast and reliable. There are many many TV channels including premium channels. The breakfast starts at 6:00 am which is great for a business traveler. The breakfast was very good with a large selection.I will stay at this hotel every time I'm in this area.

We enjoyed our stay at the BW in Flatonia, they were very pleasant, accommodating and the room was quiet. The bed was comfortable & the breakfast was good - especially the TX shaped waffle! Would stay again when visitng family in Flatonia.

Nice and quiet hotel very clean room and helpful staff. Stayed while on a business trip good breakfast and comfortable bed will stay again when I'm in the area. Easy access off the highway. Not far from San Antonio or Houston and only 30 minutes from Round Top.

We had some difficulty when we checked into room 301 – the TV didn't work – but we didn't find out until after we had unpacked! Without much concern or apology, Reyes gave us the room next door (303) but he mentioned that they had been having trouble with the TV in 301. So WHY did he put us in 301??? We moved all our stuff into 303 and we don't travel light on our 2-month trip across the US: 3 buckets, 2 carry-ons, and 2 backpacks! But we settled in for the night: The BED was very comfortable. Lighting, Internet, shower and towels etc were great. Quiet was what we were hoping for -- and that's what we got – a great night's sleep.

Called ahead for reservations, on trip out to NOLA had noted very few hotels, and even fewer restaurants near them; most required a drive into town away from the freeway. Had asked for room by elevator as DH can't walk far without pain. On arrival, double-checked assigned room was close to elevator, assigned room was first one on first floor. 109 was on back side, so limited freeway noise. Very large room, and large vanity in the bathroom. Limited seating to watch TV, either desk chair or easy chair, or the bed. Adequate breakfast had us quickly on the way the next day.

I am not sure if this property is under new management or if the staff are just really busy right now, but I asked for Kleenex for my ailing 77-year-old mother 3 times and never got a thing. We bought our own on the second day.

My wife and I were in the area visiting friends for the New Year. Hotel is relatively new and since it was new year, not very full which made our stay more enjoyable because it was a very quiet night. Room was clean spacious and bed was comfortable. Almost missed breakfast so can't really comment and more than it was the basic eggs, sausage, waffles fruit etc that most offer. I will say the coffee was great though. Very nice stay for the area which doesn't offer a lot of choices.

room smelled of smoke even though non-smoking and the breakfast was terrible. You couldn't eat it. The bed was comfortable enough. It was hard to control the air. I would not stay here again. Go a little farther down the room to a bigger town.

Great place to stay for the weekend to be near family. Pool was nice for the kids. Rooms were clean. Check in was easy. Check out was super simple. Plenty of parking. Subway and McDees within walking distance for food and snacks. Right off the freeway too.

Very clean Hotel - lots of oilfield workers stay here - we never had Wi-Fi throughout our 4 day stay - not happy with this, but overall, this is a very quiet and clean hotel - will probably stay somewhere else when we come back in October

The new modern look & colors are refreshing Staff very friendly welcoming and helpful. Check in quick and easy. Room delightful and spotless. Breakfast very good. Would certainly choose this hotel again.

I really enjoyed my relaxing stay at this hotel. The hotel staff offered gracious southern hospitality that is unique to this part of America. What a treat! I also enjoyed the complimentary morning breakfast. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. I recommend highly.

Had a great stay at this Inn. Check in was exceptional. Cherk took extra time to ensure my stay was excellent. She helped me us my rewards points for the stay which saved me a lot of funds. Was driving from Texas to Florida, saw their sign and pulled in to enjoy the BEST PLUS

First off, it's a small town, so don't be surprised if you're unable to find a franchise that delivers food to your door. Nonetheless, McDonald's is within walking distance, and according to its ratings on Google, it's decent. Noise might be an issue, though. Be wary of guests who stay in the room above you. Bumps/thuds are audible, which can be particularly annoying at night when you're trying to sleep. Everything appeared to be clean. Rooms are clean. Showers are clean. Plenty of towels. Blow dryer available. Hallways are clean. Elevator is clean. Lobby is clean. Adequate parking is available at the front. Location is convenient in that there are two restaurants situated on both sides of the hotel. The highway is less than 100 meters away. Staff is responsive. Ring the bell and they'll come out. Check-in was quick and simple. Wi-Fi was decent. Not super fast but just enough to check e-mail and watch YouTube clips at 480p. Television was nice and big. Good selection of T.V. shows. Overall, given the location and price tag, it's an ideal place to stay in Flatonia, Texas.

I was very impressed with the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. The hotel rooms were very clean, as well as the hobby, kitchen, and outside areas. The breakfast provided was of excellent quality. This hotel provided excellent value for the price paid.

Excellent stay, no complaints. Will stay again when in the area. i would recommend this venue to anyone. Excellent Staff and Hospitality. Even if something is broke and you report it, they are on top of it, and get it fixed right away. If it is something major they will work with you and accomodate you.

the hotel was clean and guest rooms were impeccable. the staff was truly professional and made the stay memorable. The food was average but typical for hotels in this price range. This hotel was like an oasis in the middle of no where. Very pleasant surprise and well worth a return visit.

Loved this hotel. It seems brand new its so clean. It smells absolutely gorgeous. Great friendly and efficient staff, and he room is big! Great wifi, great TV and a decent sized bath with a great massage type shower. Coffee maker in the room and a laundry just down the hall. Can't fault it. The beds are so comfy too and tons of pillows. Definitely would come back. There is a Subway right across the parking lot, and some restaurants nearby. It's right off the highway, so easy to get to but still very quiet inside.

This is a great hotel to stay at. It has a very nice entrance/reception area. The rooms are nice and spacious. The towels are thick enough to actually dry yourself with. They have a nice breakfast and breakfast area. The day we stayed, which was a Friday night, was a very reasonable rate. We will definitely stay again.

Great to have this option in Flatonia now. The grandkids loved the pool. Breakfast included hot items, even a tasty Texas waffle. Everything was quite comfortable, including the 2 queen beds. And very clean and new. Enjoyed dinner at Robert's across I 10, a true Texas delight.

I truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is clean, inside and out. It smells clean! Plenty of parking for truckers in front of the hotel, and not in some dark area around back. Desiree (front desk) is awesome - cheerful, helpful, and professional! I highly recommend this hotel!

Wonderful hotel and staff!! Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, and very friendly, helpful staff! We stayed at this hotel as Victoria Evacuee from Hurricane Harvey. The staff went beyond to ensure that guest had rooms. When there were no rooms available they opened up the meeting rooms to give people a safe, dry place to live. Thank you!!

Overall very good. The place is clean and very well kept and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection is good and the quality is good and is kept stocked and clean during busy times. Beds are okay, not the most comfortable but not bad. The Wi-Fi works well if you are able to connect, be patient it takes a while. Bring your own toilet paper, it is rough like sand paper.

BW+ Flatonia is a amazing property everybody is so nice and helpful, they great you as you walk through the door and great you when you leave saying "Be safe Have a nice day!"... how many hotels do that?! Maybe 1 out of 10 if you're lucky...

Excellent home away from home. Friendly, courteous, helpful staff; excellent complimentary breakfast. We recommend it. The carpet had been vacuumed, but appeared in need of a shampoo. The rooms are clean and stocked with necessities. They have ample parking in front of hotel and in the back. It is well lighted around and there is a Subway and McDonalds and Dairy Queen in walking distance. Restaurants are nearby, but driving distance.

Nice and new. Traveling for business, nice to check into a large king room. Pool area very nice as well. Great breakfast with many options. Found a neat little restaurant in Flantonia, Wine Haus, awesome!! Will return again!!

clean place, clean rooms. good cable tv to watch. internet works better than most places I've stayed at. pool was clean and fun for the kids; break is basic but good enough for a simple meal. beds are comfy. parking is easy to find on week days, weekends get's a little tighter. easy to find, right off of freeway. few places near to find food and snacks. dollar general down the street for any extras you need. staff is very nice and friendly. rates seem high but the place is safe and very clean.

For an overnight or weekend stay to sight see in the area, the Best Western Plus is a very nice and clean hotel. Lots of parking and near a Subway for a sandwich but not far from Robert's restaurant, a BBQ take-out restaurant or San Jose's Mexican restaurant. Flatonia is a few blocks to the south and there are a couple restaurants there as well - they are not open all of the time but weekends are good.

Nice overnight stay . Clean, nice staff, and breakfast. Convenient to IH 10. Not far from center of town, where you will find good restaurants and music. The Bistro has great food and listened to music at Henry K's. Not far from one of the painted churches in Praha

Great little hotel --if it had in-room movies it would be perfect!! The room was surprisingly quiet despite the hotels nearness to the highway. The front-desk service was always quick to answer questions and was most helpful during my stay. The included breakfast was plentiful, fresh and excellent. Parking was on-site, free and plentiful This is my go to hotel for this area and the only one that I recommend to friends and family when they stay in the area!!.

Nice hotel with a good breakfast. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked. Breakfast was your typical hotel fare but they do go the extra mile and add all kinds of extra toppings for everything as well as things to make a breakfast sandwich should you choose to. Would recommend.

Check in and out was very easy! The breakfast was okay. The best part was how clean everything thing was inside and outside the hotel. This will be the place we will stay if we are ever in this area again.

The hotel is new and modern. The room was large with plenty of desk area for completing my work. Comfortable beds with plenty of outlets to charge devices. The large TV was complimented with all the standard channels and several premium movie channels. A Subway and McDonald's are within walking distance of the Hotel and a great Steakhouse is located about half a mile away.

This hotel was very nice and new. Room was large, decor was nice, clean, great amenities. Bed was pretty good only because I'm kind of picky about mattresses, husband thought it was great. Overall a great hotel.

We were there for there for 7 days. Our room was always clean nice place to stay. Staff was great. Maintence was awesome very helpful. Thank you for a great stay. Dairy Queen was dinner a couple of times and ice cream was every night. They just need more places to eat in that are. It is a new hotel. Direct route to Round Top.

Very nice hotel! The rooms were very clean and the beds really comfy! The breakfast was very nice but, the food could be a little warmer. Great place to stay if going to the Round Top, Texas Antique shows!!!

The room was much larger than we anticipated and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Quiet and couldn't hear other guests through the walls! The breakfast leaves a little to be desired. The coffee wasn't all that great, eggs were part powdered. But, thankful that a breakfast was offered.

The rooms are very big and comfortable , mattress was very comfortable. Great job in keeping rooms cleaned, enjoyed the workout facility, breakfast was very good & fresh! Great attention at Front Desk!

This was our first time staying at this Best Western. I am a Best Western fan and try to stay at one whenever we go out of town. This is a fairly new hotel and the rate was very reasonable and since we never stayed at this one we opted for it in place of the other one nearby. When we walked into the lobby, we were impressed with the roominess and the nice decor. Our room was great as we expected it would be since we have not had a bad experience at any Best Western thus far. The breakfast was great! The staff was wonderful! We had a good stay! Will definitely come back!

The hotel is right off the highway, but you can miss the entrance on the frontage road as it is not marked and the grass hides the access street. The hotel is inviting and clean. The hot breakfast buffet offered a variety The eggs were not real hot on my plate though they were in the hot steamer..

Very nice hotel - Beds were awesome (especially after a long day of antique hunting!) Good price as well. The walls are a little thin but we just turned the fan on in the room and we were good to go. Location was only 45 minutes from the big Antique Event in Round Top. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely book here again

All went very well!! There were about 200 attending the wedding and everyone was very pleased with the hotel and staff! No unexpected problems arose and all had a very wonderful experience. A good place to meet with family and friends.

This is a new motel with a very nice staff and manager. They may have some things to work out like temperature of the hot tub and workout room but overall a great place to stay. Rooms are bigger than usual and clean to boot.

I was disappointed on my stay at this hotel. This little town is now part of my travel area for work. Better hotel choices are very slim. The hotel is new. Very nicely decorated. Very clean and organized. Speedy check in. Staff very friendly. ONE PROBLEM! I woke up the next morning with my bed and bedside table COVERED in ANTS!!!! No food items near. The trash can was also full of ants as well as the floor. I was being invaded! I received several ant stings. I immediately reported to the front desk who told me she would come up and spray. No one ever came up. I had decided to not spend another night and check out. SO I went to the desk to check on and I guess they had changed shifts. And my telephone call wasn't relayed to the on coming staff as I handed her a tissue full of hair-sprayed dead ants (had to spray something on them to slow them down). SO she told me she would go spray right now ...which she did. But I was checking out..... She came back down very apologetic that I had been stung by the ants and that they were coming from behind the head board of the bed. I really hated that this happened. Because I travel to this little town quite a bit, Thinking twice if I want to stay the next time....or just drive to the next time. Not sure yet.

This is a new hotel so one would expect it to be nice. Rooms were large and the layout was good. Bathroom was large. The staff were great and the breakfast was really good. Great value. Easy off / easy on from I-10. Definitely will be using this location again.

When we booked the room earlier in the day, they did not tell us the hot tub was broke. It was completely empty and the pool was dirty.....both of the main reasons we stayed there. Was not happy, was told the manager would be there in the morning .....nope no manager. We used reward points and I feel cheated!

enjoyed my stay at this location, would recommend to other travelers in the area and will be staying again when we are in the area. Hotel was in a great location to the event that we attended and a great location for out of state visitors as well as local residents of the city. I grew up in this location and it was nice to have a hotel of this calibre in my hometown and to see that my town can attract such a wonderful hotel.

Haven is awesome!!! She is willing to help out in any way that she can!!! Best Western Plus in Flatonia is one that I would recommend to anyone!!! Great breakfast!!! Very comfortable bed!!! Restaurants within walking and driving distance from the hotel!!

Very nice hotel with easy access to the interstate and gas station... McDonald's is within walking distance along with 2 very good restaurants in very close driving distance... the staff is awesome here... Haven went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay and was very friendly... not many hotel employees will carry on a conversation with you but Haven definitely will talk to you about anything! She is awesome!!! Will definitely return!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice, clean and comfortable. The front desk help was excellent and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the beds are just as comfortable as some of the five star hotels we have stayed in. The morning breakfast is good and there is a variety of foods to please everyone. The price is good especially if you are needing a break spot for the night.

Best Western Flatonia was a nice, new hotel with an accommodating staff...Overall the experience was quite nice....definitely the nicest hotel in the area. It was a bit hard to see the entrance but they seem to be fixing that, signage was going up during our stay

Best Western is the hotel I always look for while traveling. This trip it was from Houston, Texas to Ca. Terrible weather, rain, flash floods predicted, was able to unload under the portico, safe parking, etc. Arrived late, departed early, did not see any close restaurants so consider bringing food or eating first if arriving during off hours.

Wonderful accommodations. I stayed 3 nights and everything was perfect. I was impressed with the decor and the special features in the handicap accessible room. I would definitely stay here again if in town to visit family.

Very clean place. Friendly, kind staff...full breakfast which was delicious...coffee was even pretty good! My room was right behind the elevator, which I thought would be a problem, but I didn't hear the elevator at all through the walls. The place smells nice too!!! I will stay again when I visit this area. It beats the local B&B!!!

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days. We never heard a sound or noise coming from any other room, the hotel is ultra clean, modern, and comfortable. The best hotel we have stayed in in years, and we travel a lot. I can be pretty picky in these reviews/surveys for the sake of other travelers. I cannot find any fault with this hotel, first time I can say this with a very clear conscience, you won't go wrong staying at this hotel. We checked in at 2:00Am, in the morning. The hotel clerk made us feel welcome even at this hour. We had to make some adjustments to our reservation, which was done cheerfully, and professionally. Our additional contacts with the staff, and breakfast staff was equally as great. Highly recommended!!!

This hotel is just one year old. Very comfortable and staff are professional and attentive. It's a little hard to find because the hotel is set back (south) of I-10, and road leading to property not in good shape, but the parking lot is well lighted and good access to rooms in the back and front of the building. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Beds comfortable.

This Best Western PLUS was a pleasant surprise. I booked online without seeing the property. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The entire property, inside and outside, were very clean. The breakfast was a little disappointing. The quantity was minimal, the eggs were cold and the bacon was VERY under-cooked and greasy and cold.

The housekeepers are thieves at this location. I had cash and a cell phone stolen and was told that since the house Keepers were relatives of the owner that there is no possible way they could have done this!! The manager is very rude and called me a liar which is very unprofessional!! Don't stay here if you have any other option available to you!!

The room was spacious and properly clean. It is modern and doesn't look to many years old. Front desk staff were very efficient, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great with a lot of choices and a lot of tables & chairs. Wi-Fi worked great. My only gripe would be it seemed to be a bit expensive but I had no choice - didn't see anything else in town! There is big rig parking right in front or at the little truckstop over the back fence. I will stay here again for sure.

I was very impressed with the BestWestern Plus in Flatonia, Texas. It is new, but a very nice hotel, very clean even though it is about a year old, very impressive landscape and safe lighting outside. Recommend it.

Great hotel. Good bed and the room was excellent., good size, decor was so pleasing I didn't want to leave. Breakfast good. Only drawback hot tub lukewarm couldn't get in. But overall was great. A bit high priced but good, I'd stay again.

The décor of this Best Western hotel was the finest I have ever stayed at. Beautifully modern and colours so compatible with the location. This hotel just opened in Feb 2015 apparently. Rooms spacious and very well appointed. We would highly recommend this lovely property in Flatonia, Texas!

We had a large group staying for an antique car club event, so lot's happening. The staff treated each of us like we were special. They were the best. The hotel is really clean and very nice. The rooms are state of the art and have everything you need. The breakfast was hot with many items to choose. We had a great time.

Very clean,wonderful service, great breakfast & great staff service, good size rooms,comfortable beds.The hot tub was a very good thing to have and the exercise room was also a nice addition. Checking in & out was so easy and fast. we really enjoyed our stay, its nice to have a very nice and affordable place such as this in a small town, just off I-H 10 in between Houston & San Antonio.

This hotel is BRAND NEW! Clean and very comfortable. The Pool was good and the staff was AWESOME. The breakfast was good Thanks all folks, no more words to say, just trying to complete this survey. No much to do in Flatonia.

I checked in @ 3:00am so the night desk guy wasn't at his best. But that's understandable. I am really starting to look for the Best Western Plus lately. I find the rooms are really comfortable. I wanted to rate the service excellent because of the lady in the eating area in the morning for Breakfast was very sweet and nice. I cant remember her name. But she was a doll.

Weary from driving, we decided to stop in Flatonia to rest up before traveling through Houston. This was a great experience from the happy and helpful staff, through the well appointed, clean and comfortable room, and including a satisfying hot breakfast. As seniors with some limitations, we were well taken care of, including a call from the front desk to insure that we had everything we needed and were happy with the accommodations. We look forward to staying there again. Thank you from two weary travelers who left the next morning rested and ready to battle Houston traffic.
