Best Western Palace Inn Hotel

Spacious and clean room in a very quite environment. The location is perfect ether for the city centre or getting access to the highway. That gave us the opportunity to visit Venice and Verona in two consecutive days driving for just an hour respectively!…………………………………..

We stopped for a night on a long trip. The location is industrial that's why the 4 points. The hotel is nice, spacious and very clean room and bathroom, cosy beds. The staff is very kind, the breakfast was very good. Absolutely recommended, for an overnight stay

Hotel Best western palace inn Ferrara The hotel is located 25 minutes walking from the railway station and around 40 minutes walking from the center of the city. There is a bus station nearby -bus nr. 6 will help you to reach the town, but is an easy pleasant path to follow to the town. Nearby there is a Lidl and Aldi supermarket. Just you exist the hotel there is a steakhouse, quite crowdy in the evening. The staff and the reception is very helpful. You will find a water machine that you can use for free to fill in your bottle. Coffee and tea will wait you in the room. The breakfast is very good. A lot of fruits, good coffee and a lot of sweets. A vegetarian also has options. The rooms are comfortable. If you do not mind the distance to the center then is definitely a good option.  On the way to the town you will find another steak house Wild west on the left- very close and on the right a all you can eat asiatic restaurant. Parking available at the hotel. Free wi Fi. City tax should be paid extra the room fee.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. It's a short drive into the historic center. Our room was spacious and clean. We were particularly impressed with the staff. When we arrived the front desk was very friendly and helpful. In the evening we returned to the hotel and found ourselves a bit hungry (we had eaten a very late lunch). Instead of going out, the front desk staff ordered us a pizza and made us delicious "adult drinks." Overall, a very nice hotel.

We booked this hotel for one night as we were heading to another location for our vacation. We knew it wasn't centrally located in Ferrara, so it was not a problem for us that it is basically in the exurbs. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The call center person who laconically booked our room had booked the 2 of us in a family room, The receptionist was surprised that there were 2 of us booked in a family room and immediately moved us to a double room. Our room was large, clean and we had good internet service, a comfortable bed, and a good shower. The bathroom had good lighting. We'd had such a large lunch in town that day that we just split a pretty decent pizza at the hotel restaurant.

Within its cookie-cutter structure, the hotel conforms to the BW standards, and it does so quite well. Its rooms and bathrooms are functional, and everything works. There is coffee/tea making equipment, the medium-sized TV offers a section of channels in several languages, and the soap dispensers work in a thought-out way. Although not that far from the city center, one needs to take one's car to get there, because public transport is infrequent and erratic.

It would have been 4 but hot water didn't work. I reported the problem to reception. They kindly carried out the inspection but unfortunately, since there was no plumber, it was not repaired before departure. Other than that all excellent, room, breakfast and courtesy of the staff.

Arrived in the evening with my wife, and the staff was very helpful in suggesting some places around town to get some things we needed. Was very nice and room was great! We stayed on the first floor at the end of the hall in the larger rooms

The room is very comfortable and has a very nice bathroom. There is a mini bar and tea and coffee facilities. The beds are comfortable and the Wi-Fi works well. There is free Parking outside. It is only 10 minutes to drive to the Centre. There is plenty of parking and only costs 3 euro and 20 cents for the whole day to park. There is a Road House restaurant next door and also Lidl.

hotel is in front of the town with free parking. This is positive. We stayed there over night on the way to toscany. Hotel was ok for one night, nothing special. The worst was the breakfast. Really nothing to eat. I asked the waiter if they are doing eggs and he said no. There was one piece of dark bread I asked for more, they didnt have, brought me some more of white baquette . Nice people on reception. Would definitely not stay again. Town is lovely.

A really good option if you are on the road... good access from the highway, close to the city center and close to several restaurants. Rooms are not big but ok and the staff was really helpful even when we arrived without a reservation.

The environment in hotel is fine, but when we are having breakfast, we had suffered discrimination! Hotel staff forced us to eat in the nearby small room with little foods, instead of eating breakfast in restaurant. When we want to go to restaurant to get more kind of foods, they forbidden us to. We are paying the same money as European, why are they treating us like this?

The hotel is OK. Location is not central, so if you have a car no problem, otherwise it's public transport or taxis. Breakfast in nothing to write home about, very basic selection with no bells and whistles. Room are relatively big. They have a 'gym' which is three very lonely looking machines (treadmill, bike, basic multi-trainer). Normally everything clean, had a problem with my bathroom floor but that may be an outlier.

We were a large group of tourist. The rooms were quite comfortable. However minimum amenities were provided at the rooms. The useless complimentary breakfast was not appreciated by anyone of us. The location of the hotel is not very attractive too.

We stayed in this hotel only for one night. The room is O.K. with all the usual features. The night dinner was served in their usual dining hall with all Indian food brought from out side. The next day complimentary breakfast was served to us in a cramped small dining room and they used their dining hall for their other guests. The menu in the breakfast is not good and it is not filling. The staff in our dining hall were not polite and receptive. We had a bad experience with the breakfast. Thank God we left the hotel immediately after breakfast.

This hotel is good for business people I think, but if you are a tourist and want to go downtown for attractions añd to catch trains for elsewhere, ( we took the train to Venice), the buses don't run often and I thought the people hanging around the train station looked a little "seedy". We ended up taking a taxi back to the hotel after waiting half an hour for a bus.

Check in staff friendly, which was best thing i could say about the place. Room very basic. No bath. Door lock didn't look like it worked and i slept with chair wedged against handle. Didn't feel all that safe. Area is totally away from tourist area. I was in Ferrara last time i was there on business and supplier i was visiting took me there for dinner. Lovely place which is why i elected to stay in the town. Hotel wasn't near this area and i walked for 1.5 hours and couldn't find a restaurant that was open. had to eat at a McDonald's. Hotel only does breakfast and room service. Restaurant next door is a steakhouse. All in all, clean enough, but not worth the money and well away from the beauty of the town. I wouldn't return. If driving there, check Telepass system as hire cars don't have and if you end up in the Telepass lane, you are stuck as barrier won't open and card behind you won't back up. Been staying here a lot the last 2 years, always a great experience with comfortable rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. It is also close to the highway so it is perfect during a trip. Would suggest it to anybody!

On the outskirts which I wanted an easy drive from the motorway. Steakhouse and supermarket opposite, breakfast basic but 3 Euro. Friendly staff with good English and plenty of car parking which is always my worry

We decided last minute to stop in this lovely city but hadn't booked a room ahead of time. We found this hotel had reasonable prices at a moment's notice and our experience was good. The room was comfortable, spacious and we slept well after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast was average, but I prefer to save my appetite for the fabulous things you can look forward to in the trattoria's at lunch time. The check in process was seamless. All in all a good experience.

I had a good experience when staying at this hotel. Wifi was good, breakfast was good (and plentiful) and the rooms was of a good standard and had all I expected. The only thing on the downside was the dinner experience since both the service and food was mediocre, or even bad. On the upside was also the coffee/the on the room and the minibar. Nice lobby area and a small but working little fitness room.

A reasonable hotel but located in an industrial area on the edge of the city. The hotel is ok but is lacking armosphere. The breakdast was not particularly good with omelet made from egg-powder and vert badky fried bacon chuncks instead if rashers. Unless conveniently located to a business visit not really recommendable.

The Best Western in Ferrara was quite nice. We had just flown into Bologna, picked up our rental car. It was an easy drive to the Best Western to check into our pre-reserved room. Checked in, handed over our passports, they gave us a key to the room and we used the elevator to go upstairs. Went back downstairs, picked up our passports and then off to dinner next door at the Road House. We slept past breakfast time to help overcome jet lag. I'm sorry we startled the maid who thought we were gone, even though it was still morning. The room was clean and quite. Lots of free parking.

The motel is out of town with plenty of parking place. Very close to LIDL supermarket and to Europcar agency. The room and bathroom are OK. However, there is no closet in the room but hangers. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The door of the bathroom could not be right closed even after being repaired. The heating is very good. There is an ingenious blue light in the bathroom showing you the way at night. Breakfast is OK unless you reach late the dining room when the variety decreases fast.

The only thing that was a little misleading was we were told there was a shuttle, and there was not. In order to go to the city center it cost 10 to 15 euro to get there as I was too elderly to bike. Otherwise I found this hotel to be extremely nice!!!

The most good thing regarding this hotel is the location in the center of the city. Excellent location. Could hardly be better. The cost-benefit is very very good, and the hotel is pretty nice. Heating is not enouh good.

Stayed there overnight during a business trip. Location is very convenient, close to the highway (tangenziale) and to the industrial area; on the other hand, is not so well located to do sightseeing. Hotel looks good (special mention to the illumination of the bathroom) and the staff was nice; there is no restaurant or room service, but they have some agreement with a pizzeria nearby so if you order one you can have it in the breakfast room. Option B is a grill bar just in front of the hotel, went there once and the meat was really tasty; breakfast was correct, few things but all tasty..even had a squeezer to make your own fresh juice

We booked this hotel last minute, when we decided to stop driving and rest for the night. I was happy wi our decision. We were welcomed by friendly staff, he service was prompt, and in no time we were in our room. The room was large, with a king side bed, very good bathroom, great and large towels. And very clean... I was so relieved to find in the room a kettle to make us a cup of tea.

We stayed 12 night in a family room. The room was a good size, super clean and the matrasses were the best we've ever slept on. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A little too far from the historical center to walk to but the receptionists give a very good eplanation were to park the car and how to get there. We've had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.

Not many words are needed to describe the good quality of service in this hotel. All that can be said is only one - I recommend it! Large and clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. Good place to stat!

I recently stayed at the Palace Inn (Best Western) for 6 days on a business trip. It is in the business district just outside of the main city of Ferrara. It's very quiet and very comfortable. Their is parking if you have a car. Their is a very good free hot breakfast in the morning. Although their is not a restaurant on site, their is a bar. The room was very comfortable, nice bed and a newer modern looking bathroom. It has a very small fitness room, very small. The lobby is newer looking and welcoming. It is about a 1/2 mile from the Ferrara main train station, easily walkable. A cab costs about 10 euros. It is also to the beautiful town center. I walked it a couple of times, it's about 1-1/4 miles. There is only one restaurant near though, "The Roadhouse" serving meat, similar to a Longhorn Steakhouse in the states, with peanuts and all.

This is a Hotel on the edge of town in a business area. Although this does sound that attractive, but if you are touring it is right next to the motorway. The rooms are spacious and clean. All the staff are very friendly and the breakfast was very good. It has free parking and thus saves you the problems of many Italian towns and cities.

A very proper an good hotell with excellent nice staff. I will recommend it. Take the bus to the city to see the town - which is awesome and very interesting. Ferrara has a lot of interesting places. It is an old medieval town.
