« motor court layout was a welcome change of pace »

We enjoyed our stay. The layout of the motel was "old school" motor court which was a nice change of pace from the 3 and 4 story properties we have been staying in on this trip. We drove about 30 miles out of our way to stay at this property and it was worth it.

    « Nice hotel »

This hotel was excellent. We always stay at BW. Great hotel chain. This hotel is a good example. Very clean and well maintained. Very comfortable and the internet was awesome. Falfurrias is a small town but the hotel is what you'd expect from a larger city. Breakfast was good, as usual. We would highly recommend it if you're in the area.

« Worth the Extra Miles »

Vickie was so nice & convinced me to drive the extra 30 miles and this was after driving 8 hours. It was worth the extra drive. This motel was so much nicer and at about the same price as the motel I was considering. So glad she convinced me. Rooms very nice, beds very comfortable, and wifi was fast. Thanks Vickie!

    « BW at Falfurrias »

Nice little motel, large rooms, plenty of bathroom space. Our room had a ceiling fan which helped circulate the air in the room. The breakfast bar had a variety to choose from - both hot and cold choices.

    « Great Place »

Great place to stay down this way. Decent hotel breakfast, nice and real clean rooms. AC works great, staff was friendly and helpful. Parking lot could be a little bit bigger for trucks with trailers but overall.5 star.

Clean large room / comfortable bed. Bathroom updated. AC and ceiling fan cooled things down fast. Landscape Tropical and nice. The only issue I had was smell of old cigarettes smoke in the room which I did not report / Stayed 1 night and was on my way.

    « BW Falfurrias »

A Buttery historical town in the South Texas Brush country has a small business that is waiting to be your host and that is the Best Western Garden Inn. Falfurrias Butter was a product on the shelves of grocery stores for years and is still, but not from here any longer, just historical facts now. The BW in town has a very nice group of folks eager to get you into your accommodations quickly and efficiently so that you can get settled and relax from the long road from or to the valley. A pool of cool water in the south Texas heat looks mighty tempting, and once in your room there are all of those things that are important for your comfort, great bed, nice bath linens, coffee maker, large TV, Fridge with freezer, Micro-wave, spacious bathroom, nice vanity area, and a good size room. Good selection for breakfast that is provided with your stay and right off of Hwy. 281. Stop in, kick your feet up and get a good nights rest for the upcoming road.

    « Nice stay »

My primary reason for staying at the Best Western was because it is pet friendly. My Yorkie travels with me most of the time. However the place was as advertised... no surprises. The internet was fast enough to do 'face time' with family. Nice tropical looking place. very clean outside and inside. A/C & heater works very good. Shower water flow was very good. Pet fee was $20 per day. A human guest is free (figure that out). I will definitely stay there next time.

Highly Impressed This is one of the cleanness and most well maintain motel that I have ever lodged. The staff was friendly and helpful, the price was very reasonable. I thought it was a new motel because on the condition of the facility but was told its ten years old. Three cheers for the management and organization for keeping the motel in top notch condition.

Nice place to stay. Plenty of parking and friendly staff. Internet was extremely slow so I gave up on trying to use it. I would stay here again if I am in the area. That is all. Thank You. I don't know why I have to right an essay for this review, I'm a man of few words!

« charge suite rates for regular rooms »

good clean place but the rude owners charge you for a suite and give you a regular room when business is good. Owners are rude and terse. Nice hotel and rooms, if they dont charge you an extra 30 percent by calling a regular room a suite

    « Get in writing »

The hotel itself was fine, clean comfortable. However I made reservation through Trivago...checked with the hotel personnelly that they had the reservation and was told they did. Walked in the door they had NO reservation. Spent over 45 min. clearing that up. I had a dog with me, we were there for a funeral and could not take the dog with us. Talked to the folks on Mon. about late check out was promised we could leave her till 2PM. Got there at 12:45 and they wanted t0 charge me $30 for being late. GET ANY promises in writing cause they do not tell the next person what was done!

« Old but Well Maintained »

A good value and a clean property in South Texas. Very well maintained exterior and rooms clean. Could use some interior updating and air freshener. Breakfast nothing to write home about but for the price, again-a good value.
