Best Western Plus Fairfield Executive Inn

My recent stay at the Best Western exceeded my expectations, largely due to the exceptional service provided by the desk attendants Miko and Victor. Despite encountering an unusual food issue following a family member's wedding, Miko in particular went above and beyond to assist us, demonstrating a level of kindness and attentiveness that rivaled even the most luxurious establishments. While the accommodations themselves were in line with what one would typically expect from a Best Western, it was the unparalleled service that truly set this experience apart. Miko's genuine concern for our well-being and willingness to assist with our unique situation made us feel as though we were guests at a five-star resort, rather than a mid-range hotel. He could have easily said no and I wouldn't have thought less. In a world where customer service can often feel impersonal or transactional, encountering someone like Miko and Victor was a breath of fresh air. Their warmth and dedication to ensuring our comfort made our stay truly memorable and enjoyable. I recommend this Best Western highly, particularly for travelers who value exceptional service and genuine hospitality. My experience with Miko and Victor exemplified the best of what hospitality should be.

The front desk staff, especially Maria, were so friendly & accomodating. How they dealt with my frazzled & exhausted mind was beyond words. I cannot speak more highly of them. Rooms quite, clean & comfy. Thank you Best Western of Fairfield!

hotel was clean and the staff was courteous and polite. the bed was extremely comfortable. i would definitely stay at this hotel again if i am in the area. the restaurant in the hotel was a bery nice place to relax. the food and drinks were great

This Best Western is definitely a good one. This was our second stay here. Room was more spacious than most and very clean as is the whole hotel. The lounge and restaurant are very nice and there are many places nearby. I am a rewards member and have stayed at many Best Westerns and definitely recommend this one if visiting this area.

Hotel was clean, well located and served a great breakfast. Good staff, nice amenities and lots of parking. Will definitely stay there the next time we travel to the area. Rooms were comfortable and easily accessible.

Couple of my stay at Best western was not satisfying. My last stay was for 4 nights and I was not asked for room service until my last night no extra towels until we was asked and the room service and front desk was reluctant and kind of nonchalant I even asked for a Band-aide and was told they didn't have a first aid kit while I asked the clerk a former night and she kindly assisted me the other guy was very nonchalant and didn't care for my complaint I regards to no room service

Very nice hotel, clean rooms and staff were very friendly. And the breakfast is included with stay, has a good breakfast. It's close to other nearby restaurants. The hotel also has a Italian restaurant located at the hotel.

This place is a peaceful palace to get some great sleep away from home. The rooms are clean and the staff members like Luli offer up exceptional service. The location is on a main road and easy to get to everything in minutes.

Best deal in town. Great value for a nice hotel. Great restaurant and clean rooms. Friendly service all around. Definitely recommend! This is my go to place whenever I visit my family and they never disappoint.

I stayed at this hotel while I was in town for a friends wedding. The room was clear and the bed was incredibly comfortable and provided a great sleep. DJ at the front desk was great. I had never traveled to the area prior to this wedding trip and when I needed directions DJ did not hesitate to provide me with pinpoint directions and short cuts to avoid the main road. He had a great attitude and willingness to help. Thank you DJ!

Great location. Great bar area with phenomenal bartender. Lobby area very small. Extremely friendly courteous staff. Breakfast was mediocre. Very small room to accommodate 2 weddings guests, limited food options, croissants and donuts were stale. Good thing there was a omelet station. Coffee not good!

Pro's : A good balance of elegance and cleanliness. The building isn't new but well kept in general. Breakfast was of exceptional quality. Con's: Front desk staff was a bit snobby. The building is long and could use more elevators.

Wedding venue for my grandson and his bride. Best manager ever, Miranda. Courteous, thorough, professional. Immediately addresses your concerns. Free breakfast way above what is normally offered. Lovely decor, definitely upgraded from normal hotels of this grade. Offers a lot of options for weddings. Great bar. Next door to outstanding restaurant and bakery. Highly recommend. The only reason i did not give a 5 was that some other staff specifically bar and cafe employees were not always courteous. Overall highly recommend especially for group stay for weddings.

After a long wait for the airport shuttle from Newark to thw hotel where we had left our car at the park and ride, we decided to pick this hotel as a place to stay for the night before driving home the next day. The original hotel where we had left the car had no available rooms. We were happy to find this reasonably priced location for an overnight stay before driving home. Service was good, breakfast was very good, and we thought the room was fairly well maintained, clean, and fit our requirements for the night.

We stayed here overnight as it was close to St. Joseph's hospital and my husband had surgery early the next morning. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating. The room was spotless and very comfortable and we would definitely stay again. The Italian Restaurant attached was very convenient . Food was good and it also had a bar. We would definitely return should we need.

This Best Western was recently remodeled. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and easily accessible via US Highway 46. The staff went out of their way to be sure that all our needs were met. The room prices were very reasonable for the area, so close to New York City, and Newark Airport.

Very nice looking place overall. Front desk staff was very friendly and courteous with a warm smile. The rooms were quite clean but the mattresses and pillows were aged and rather soft. Breakfast buffet could use a few more items/options to make it more user friendly for people with food allergies and sensitives. A little disappointed with that.

As in my title, I was pleasantly surprised by my stay - this was the first time I've been to a Best Western Plus and my expectations were exceeded. The hotel staff (front desk, shutttle drivers, F&B) was friendly, accomodating and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and no maintenance issues. I stayed with a group that was attending a wedding nearby and the convenience of the location was perfect. The hotel also offers a shuttle within a 5-mile radius that made it easy to make stops to local stores. I would absolutely stay here again!

This is a solid place for a work conference with reasonable rates, a nice executive lounge and decent Italian restaurant. The downfall is our event coordinator was not on site for the conference and the AV/tech was not stellar. They did not have the right wires or an expert AV set up. Staff were excellent. Rooms are basic.

Stay clear of this place especially if you are hosting a family event. They overbooked and did not deliver what was promised. Unbelievably rude staff at check in with attitude. We were not unreasonable with our request for family to be in close proximity of each other. Property is run down and needs updating.

This hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly and polite. The hotel was clean, smelled nice, and the rooms were amazing. The breakfast was delicious, the bar was great, and the gym was well equipped. The only downside was that the bed and pillows were very soft. We are used to a very firm mattress, so that was the only thing I would change.

Great location, Great staff. Clean rooms. Nice lounge and restaurant. The location is near NY city and the Mall. Near major highways like 46, 80, 287, 23. The front desk staff answered all my questions and helped in transportation.

Friendly staff that are always willing to help and provide the needed support. The breakfast is lovely and people is so friendly that you feel more in like in home. The shuttle drivers are another level of friendliness. Stayed on a wedding block, staff very attentive, bar was cute and cozy and slightly decorated for Halloween which was a nice touch. Restaurant, although did not eat there, was adorable. Easy to get to off the highway and some convenience shops nearby which was nice. Shuttle staff also very helpful.

Beautiful, professional staff located in a comforting and warm (pleasant) environment that makes you feel as if you are at home; quiet place with comfortable beds and very clean. Whether you come for business or leisure you will not be disappointed. Need assistance, ask for Luli, however, her staff will always do right by you too.

The best hotel we have stayed in all year, and we stay at over 25 hotels. Great rooms with a comfy bed, great service and attention to detail and best breakfast ever. Just like the old days. With real food, not-prepackaged stuff and coffee in a stoneware mug.

The furniture was dark and dated. Needs a lot of updating to the bathroom and beds...pillows and linens are sub-par. The hotel reflects glamor in the lobby, but needs help in all other areas. Better communication from the front desk is needed as well.

We used this hotel for guests at my daughter's wedding. Maria, in Sales, was awesome. Easy to work with no matter how many times I changed reservations on my room block. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, bar area was great and breakfast was wonderful. All of our guests enjoyed their stays. Would definitely recommend.

Went to Best Western with a wedding group. Room very clean; however, I took off because of having to let housekeeping know we wanted our rooms made up each day! Plus - bathrooms were VERY hot and the toilets extremely low. Staff very friendly, breakfast selections extensive! Everything was very clean, and overall I would definitely recommend this Best Western.

Hotel was a pleasant experience. The staff was wonderful. Room was clean and nice. The breakfast was in the Hotel Restaurant. Seating was good, service was good. Selections were omelets, or eggs made to order., fresh pastries, cereals, make your own waffle, fruit.. Pastries were from an Italian pastry shop in the Plaza adjacent to the Hotel. Very pleasant way to start the day. Hotel location was easy access to all the highways.

Great for family and friends before and after a wedding. Accommodations for the bride and her party were amazing! Shuttles to and from wedding venue. Friendly staff and renowned restaurant and complimentary breakfast was the icing on the cake!

Hotel was clean and entire staff was friendly and nice. Room was nice and I never heard anybody in the hallways or even doors closing. Very quiet. Breakfast had many choices to choose . I would stay here again without hesitation..

This hotel had the nicest and most accommodating hotel staff that I have ever dealt with! The room was very clean and spacious. We had an excellent dinner at the Italian restaurant in the hotel, and the free breakfast is held there as well and was excellent. My friend and I both agreed it was also the best sleep we've ever had in a hotel! It's conveniently located, and the price is very good. I highly recommend it!

The hotel is really in the middle of.. not much. you do need a car to get around. The room was clean, and very comfortable. Room 206 was right next to the sales office, so it got a little loud. I assume it is pet friendly as I could hear dogs barking, plus the noise from the road.... makes it tough for a light sleeper. Staff was very nice, everything was good, as expected. Free parking, free wifi, although reception was horrible and I could only talk on the phone right by the window. Never tried the restaurant.

Was at this hotel for a wedding. The location was great for the wedding venue. The free breakfast was a nice addition. Although we didn't eat at the restaurant they had a nice menu. The bar has a great atmosphere and had live music on Friday night. They have a nice drink menu with good drink options and a very nice bar that is open late. This is a nice perk when staying at a hotel. The room was large and clean and had plenty of lighting. Overall great value for the price. The staff was courteous as well. No complaints and I can ususually find something negative to say.

Great property. Best location. close to the mall. Close to New York. Location is by major highways. All the staff at this hotel are well trained to accommodate the guests needs and answered all the questions.

The Best Western was a nice friendly hotel you can use for family or gatherings. They have a courtesy breakfast and a restaurant in the hotel. They were accommodating to yours needs. They have a few restaurants around the neighborhood.

Wonderful experience from arrival to exit. Food is great, rooms are spacious, clean and everything is memorable. Glam room was great and the service all around was amazing! We are so happy to have picked Best Western!

Only stayed one night for a wedding. The service was great and the staff was very helpful. The hotel provided a shuttle to our wedding which was nice to not have to to drive. The driver was very helpful to my 85 year old mom, helping her in and out of the van. The room was clean. The bed was too hard for my liking, but overall everything was ok and can't complain.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Fairfield Executive Inn. Plenty of parking spaces. The hotel was spotless. The personnel were courteous and very accommodating. I'm looking forward to my next stay at this location!

Very nice hotel, clean lobby and rooms. I missed the free breakfast but my family really enjoyed it. Shuttle service was great. Drivers were awesome! The downsides were no safety bar in the shower and our reservation was mixed up with another family member and we received the wrong number of beds resulting in a huge inconvenience.

Booked multiple rooms thru sales for my sons wedding. I explain I wanted 1 room with a living room. Thought that's what I booked. Got a large room with 1 chair. Gave up on the living room suite and asked should there be a sofa in this large room and was told there's one there. I insisted that there's not while front desk worker insisted there was. Then someone at the desk stepped in and said this huge room comes with one chair. Not what I wanted. Then the door to the next room would not lock called front desk they sent up security to secure the door. Guess security did not want to do their job because he had an attitude that he had to lock the door. Finally left. Drove home and book a room at the Crown Plaza for the next night. If I could I would have moved all the guest to another hotel. Put it all behind and enjoyed the wedding.

The place was very clean. Food was great and plenty of it at Breakfast. Room are keep very well and clean. Lobby is bright and airy. The is very nice, always a cheerful greeting when you enter the lobby.

BW Fairfield was a great stay. Friendly staff, nice service given at breakfast the following morning. Everything was clean and perfect. Will return again and again. Close by is a pizza and bakery shops with the best pizza Ive found.

Friends and family had block of rooms for my daughter wedding.Staff was extremely accommodating in putting all rooms next to each other and extremely friendly.Hotel provided a shuttle to the venue wedding.Resturant food was great,as well as service.Bar was great with a dj at night.

Not a hitch. Everything went smoothly, from check in to check out. No complaints whatsoever. Totally recomend if you are in the area. Very convenient with the restaurant and bar with entertainment right there.

We were pleasantly surprised with the Best Western Executive Inn Fairfield after a delay in our travel. As we were unfamiliar with the area, someone recommended this hotel. The hotel was nicely appointed, great restaurant and bar on site, with friendly, accommodating staff. Since we were without transportation, the free shuttle provided rides to/from shopping close by. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The price was definitely worth it. Hotel was clean & staff was very courteous. Breakfast was less than desirable. Very poor selection of breakfast food. Tried to order room service, one night, at 9:30pm, was told I could order until 10pm. Went through five different selections, being told, anything on the menu, except what I was ordering. Finally gave up & ordered a pizza, elsewhere.

This hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was very roomy. The restaurant in the Lobby was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. A large selection, complete with wonderful pastries, breads and an omelet station .

The staff was very helpful every step of the way, from reserving rooms and the rehearsal dinner to taking care of us while we were there. The front desk was very helpful and very accommodating with the exception of one hostess who didn't give us a room for twp of our family members on the same floor was the rest of the wedding party.

Exceptional cleaning & Sanitizing processes in place - Staff is very pleasant & helpful in anyway possible. Beds are extremely comfortable you couldn't ask for more pillows that are plush & just mold to you giving you such a relaxing experience.

I had 2 rooms and the folio billing was correct, BUT they padded the credit card bill with an additional several dollars each room. We did not use any bottled water which was only potential extra charge. Trying to get refunded the overcharge now.

The Best Western Plus Fairfield Executive Inn played host to our family and friends for my daughters December wedding. No one was local, so all of her guests stayed at the hotel. From the moment we checked in, the staff was so accommodating! The hotel lobby was beautiful! The rooms were very spacious and lovely! From Check in to Check out everything was perfect!

A nice place to stay. accesible free parking. Polite staff to greet you when you come in and leave. Fitness center had everything you may need to get ina work out. Wifi for free. Available room service.

Loved everything about the experience with the hotel from the early conversations when we started planning a wedding to the post wedding wind up. The team at this hotel is stupendous - efficient, friendly, pleasant, responsive and surely know their jobs very well!

My stay was very good, wish the hotel was more modern in the inside instead of old fashion looking. The Staff was very helpful and everything was very clean. Drive to Willowbrook mall to take the bus to the city.

PERFECT venue for having your wedding guests stay--terrific van service to wedding venue, good bar, excellent special brunch we arranged for day after wedding which exceeded our expectations with sweet service. Staff at front desk, Maria in special events all terrific. Very clean, modern rooms and pretty bathroom.

My daughter had her wedding at the nearby Art Factory in Paterson, NJ and this hotel hosted all the guests and our rehearsal dinner as well. This place had so many weddings going on at the same time, yet all ran smoothly and without problem. They even allowed us to come in the day before and make 40 gifts bags in an empty conference room. The team at this hotel is very kind and professional especially Maria and Jody. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

We stayed here because it was close to the venue for my daughter's wedding. The front desk housekeeping were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast omelet and waffle stations were a nice surprise. I understand that due to Covid-19 they were short staff but the people that were there had a smile on their faces and a helping attitude. I was very pleased!

Whenever traveling from my home in the Jersey Shore area, I always choose to stay at the Best Western Fairfield Executive Inn. It was tough during the pandemic to feel comfortable staying at hotels. This property has always been my first choice. The cleanliness of the hotel is second to none! I am always confident that their cleanliness standards will always exceed my expectations.

room was claustrobic due to king size bed to manuver around, many pillows,mattress/linens nice, bathroom efficent-modern, very nice shower with full glass doors, big backlite mirror, door deadbolt didnt work, no pen, paper or bible in room, drinks in bar way over priced for their alcohol amounts-

Beautiful, remodeled, clean motel. Lovely lobby and the woman at the registration desk was kind enough to let us check in a bit early. The room was clean and spacious. The only thing I didn't appreciate was that the bottle of water in the room was at a cost. Truly, this should have been complementary in my opinion.

My brother got married and all of the wedding guest who stayed were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and the conveniences. Great location and customer service. Fantastic location and amenities. Awesome dining experience during breakfast.

I was very impress with the size of the room and the amenities. The room had a small refrigerator and microwave which was a nice touch. The room and all other areas of the hotel were immaculately clean.

The hotel was clean, friendly staff announced and absolutely to-die-for food options and service. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! Only complaint (Covid restriction) was lack of free drinking water. Workaround was getting from bar.

Aside from being a beautiful hotel, it is extremely clean. Rooms are large & quiet. Restaurant & bar/lounge on site with wonderful entertainment on fri & sat nights. Easy access to shopping & restaurants. Wonderful breakfast

Stayed in the suite . Great room for entertaining with friends. Hotel is newly renovated and all the staff was very friendly and eager to help . Shows management is doing their job. Food quality from the restaurant could be better . But was overall good food. Not great . But I'll be back when I'm staying in town again

Hotel was ok but if you have a wedding, be aware - the included wedding shuttles did not show, stranding 100 guests for over an hour. Bar drink prices are stupidly expensive. Rooms were clean but had a bit of a smell

My husband and I stayed here for a few days due to renovations being done at our home. The hotel was clean 24-7, the staff were extremely plesant and accomodating no matter what time of day or night we spoke with them. The managers in which I spooke with were always eager to assist as well. Would definitely recommend staying at the Best Western Plus in Fairfield.

The hotel is convenient to New York City. The rooms are large. Breakfast is free and very good. One caution you must request that your room be cleaned if staying longer than two days because of Covid-19.

While traveling for college tours we stayed here. The lobby was beautiful! We paid $99/night. The room was clean & spacious. We walked to the adjacent restaurant for dinner which was delicious. The staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was very good-omelettes, baked goods, fruit, and beverages. I definitely recommend staying here!

Walking into the hotel I instantly felt the touch of class. if I would not have already made the reservation A head of time, and Knowing what I paid for the room I would think I would never be able to afford it. A A great place too stay.

Great Hotel. Very nice rooms. Especially the Executive Suite. But the only thing that bothered me was when I was asking for extra towels and someone from the front desk told me that I have to come down because she has no one to come up. But besides that. everything was awesome. Thank you!!

This hotel is very clean and has the amenities a business traveler and leisure traveler could want. There is a high quality restaurant on site with really good food and wait staff. From check in to check out Maria Garcia exceeded expectations the whole time along with all her associates.

Needed some time away from work from home life, NYC and surely wanted to social distance to the highest power. So I booked some nights here and to my surprise it was a great way and place to just be . The protocols they have in place for COVID-19 are perfect and the décor of the place was festive. I am taking the family there next week. A great get away from being stuck at home at a computer and desk all day. Surely a safe alternative to traveling far.

From the minute we walked in I could tell our stay was going to be pleasant. Room was clean and recently remodeled. Restaurant too. Plenty of precautions taken for Covid. Loved our stay. Definitely recommend.

The hotel staff was so friendly! The lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas! It was nice to chat with Maria for a few minutes each day while enjoying the decorations. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The pastries from next door were delicious for a quick breakfast.

Came to the hotel for a wedding. Room was nice and comfortable, but wasn't cleaned after I left for the wedding and before I returned to it. Bed was too soft for me. Bathroom was simple, but a small cockroach was wondering in the floor and then scurried away.

This was the place the bride and groom chose to stay after the wedding. The place is beautiful and super clean! The room was spacious and clean as well. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast the next morning was great before check out. I highly recommend staying here!

This was the largest Best Western I have ever stayed at. I stayed here 8/24-8/25 and there is enough room to park a 26ft truck with a car hauler. The rooms were great, beds were comfortable and had great hot water. They have easy access to the highway and plenty of food options.

An excellent place to break up a road trip we were taking. They have fairly spacious rooms with everything we need: lot of TV channels, a nice shower, good Internet service. My wife woke up achy one day, but that may be because of her particular sleeping needs. The outside doesn't look like much, but it's modern and attractive inside. During the COVID-19 pandemic, cleanliness is naturally high on everyone's agendas. The Best Western looked very diligent. I saw staff cleaning doors, floors, and mirrors. In the halls, I could sometimes smell the detergent (yes, with my mask on).

This is one of my life time experience when I needed someone to stay in the night and I was tired. I was amazed by the professional staff specially the lady who was manager did extra mile and great service. The food, parking, room and overall customer services was wonderful. It was around 30minutes from hotel to visit NYK downtown. Must recommend it.

Easy check in. Staff were attentive, professional and kind. The room was comfortable , clean and spacious. To top it off, the breakfast buffet was superb! We felt safe. I highly recommend this hotel! In fact, we will be returning in a few months.

Seond time there was a problem with heating aat this Best Western will be staying at another hotel next time. The room was nice but remote could not change input. Was able to figure it out without remote. For some reason could hear alarm in another room that seemed to be vacant in the morning.

After trying several hotels in the Wayne/Fairfield area we have found "our" place to stay when visiting the grandkids. The beds are super comfortable! I usually wake several times during the night; I slept through the night! The breakfast offers cooked to order omelettes and everything else you can think of for breakfast-all fresh, refilled, and kept clean. We also used the swimming pool at the "sister" hotel. We'll be back!!

Hotel was clean, staff was very friendly, breakfast was fantastic. Check In and Out were very easy. This hotel was in a great location with a few restaurant options next door. I would stay at this hotel on a return trip to the same area.

Check in was super fast! Room was nice but much too hot. Tried to put the AC on but the system was too loud so had to turn it off. Even with it being a cold night the room was hot and very uncomfortable for sleeping. Otherwise it was fine. Good value.

We were in the area for a family reunion. There were a few guests in the lobby that were loud upon arrival, but from that point on everything was great. The lobby was attractive. The beds were not the most comfortable ever, but otherwise the room was clean and had all amenities. The night was quiet. The highlight of the experience was the Sunday morning complimentary breakfast including made to order omelets - would stay again just for that, and will next year!

The management and staff were phenomenal. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone/everyone coming to town. The New Year's BASH was absolutely amazing - above and beyond our expectations. Everyone in our group of 70 friend/family members had a fantastic night.

Pleasant employees, nice room, excellent breakfast included. This stay was to attend a wedding nearby.. The shuttle service was good...driver was friendly and drove well on a rainy night. We would definitely stay at a Best Western again.

I stayed here for a wedding and the hotel itself is very beautiful with tons of parking. I loved that I was able to park right infront of the entrance and be inside under a minute. Oh and the breakfast in the morning was awesome! It wasn't just some bagels and butter left out on a table, but there was a waffle maker, coffee and juice stations, a person making omelets with whatever fillings you wanted AND it was all inside a dining area where you could eat and relax at a table. The room was nice, 2 queen beds which nothing glamorous but nice and clean which was all I needed. I did run into a few minor issues (not enough toilet paper, toilet was acting tricky) but after speaking with management and how nice and fast they were willing to help alone makes me want to go back. Things were handled very professionally and kind which overall makes this a nice place to stay. 5 stars.

The room was nice, average 2 queen bed room and it was clean however they only provided 1 extra roll of toilet paper which was gone before checkout time so I ended up having to use the tissues in the bathroom. Also, the toilet was a very slow flush and ended up not flushing at all at one point. I kept having to mess with it until I finally got it to flush. In my opinion, this place is not worth the money. I just expected better for almost $200 (I paid $171 with the wedding party discount).

Of all the Best Western Plus's I have stayed at this by far the best. The facility and the amendies are Top Notch and the staff is just great they aim to please. I have stayed here 100's of times it has been great for all the stays. Thanks for making business travel enjoyable like a second home.

Oustanding service with check inn, Rooms very clean, Lounge and bar area very good. Fun time all around. Wedding group stay bus shuttle on the return was on time and often. Very polite! I would stay again if in the area. Hope all The other best westerns are as clean as this one!

The rooms in this hotel are so outdated, and smell really bad. The hallways and rooms smell musty and moldy, the furniture is from the 1960's and the bedding is horrible. I was pretty shocked at how bad and old the rooms in this hotel are as the lobby seems fairly updated and the restaurant is nice. If it had not been so late at night I would have checked out and went to another hotel. Thankfully only had to deal with this for one night.

Hotel is good option while visiting Fairfield for business. Its well located, had a bar (with happy hour) and a tasty restaurant. Room was well equipped, comfortable bed, clean and breakfast buffet was a plus.

Best place, great location, to get in and out of NYC, staff was extremely nice and always Looking to help you if you needed any. Food was fabulous ate breakfast every morning, Girls would cook you fresh eggs anyway you wanted. Ate in restaurant for lunch with family and dinner With friends both times service was wonderful.

Check in was beyond difficult and took over 20mins, they charged two different cards at checkout. Most of the Outlets in room didn't work. Sink water smelled awful. Called several times before check in to confirm reservation and early check in, employees still couldn't get it right. Staff blaimed new computer system for wait time and reservation mix up, each employee told me different answer for policy.

I was staying at the Best Western because it was the location of my HS, Memorial Of Cedar Grove, 50th class of 1969 reunion and I was traveling from out of state. Well the whole function turned out great , from my classmates to the, event room and meal and my room. Would stay again there if I had the need.

Service at check in was very good. They had 3 associates working at the front desk. I had to wait literally a minute or two - and they apologized for the wait. They asked if a first floor room was OK. (It was fine) Friendly, efficient and helpful - real nice start to our experience. Room - spacious with adequate lighting and a typical hotel room furniture and layout. Bathroom was average size. Note: If you are a tea drinker - no tea bags with coffee/coffee maker in room. You can get tea bag at bar we were told. Breakfast - One of the best free/included breakfasts I've had. They had a small station for freshly made omelets with the typical omelet ingredients. What caught my attention though is the rest of the spread. Pastries and bagels were bakery quality. Donuts and danishes were fresh - not the typical fare you'd find at typical breakfast included places. Bagels were great - fresh and what I'd expect in the NYC area - they were not bagged bagels from a supermarket. The only slight negative - for me - I did not think the coffee was that good or strong. Location - convenient to local restaurants and highways. Also, there is a strip mall at the end parking lot with several restaurants and a great bakery. I would stay here again if visiting northern NJ.

Always a good place to stay in Northern NJ / NYC area. Convenient to highways. Pleasant staff. Excellent breakfast and a nice dining room for dinner. Have stayed here at least a dozen times and always have had a good stay.

The perfect location with great food. We stay quite often at this hotel and never skip out on the restaurant. The food at Calandra's is amazing. Feels like you're eating in Italy. So authentic. They also have their own bakery across the lot that should not be missed. Delicious.

Long story short, I stayed here because this was the place where my friend had his wedding block. Since I was flying overnight from California and arriving at 6am, I called to verify if the hotel would be willing to accommodate me checking-in on the morning of the wedding to shower and get dressed for the event. They confirmed that they could charge free since they didn't have many guests staying that night, and they included that note on my reservation. When I arrived to the hotel, the front desk associate asked if I had a reservation. I gave him my information and he told me I was going to be charged another night if I wanted to check in before 3 pm. I told him that I spoke with his manager the day before and they confirmed my early check in which is included in the notes. He refused to read the notes and smirked. I asked to speak to his manager, and he rolled his eyes, looked around, and said “there's no one here, I am the manager.” I told him I didn't want to argue with him, so I requested to speak with a manager on duty, since most hotels have one in case of an emergency. He laughed and he said “what is that? I don't know what you're talking about.” I called the groom to inform him about the problems I was having at the hotel where he had his wedding block, and while he was on speaker he noticed the that the conversation became an argument. The front desk associate still refused to provide me with his managers contact information. So, the groom who's my best friend said he was going to speak to Michelle who was organizing the accommodations for the wedding block about this incident. The man kept rolling his eyes speaking back to me in a condescending way. I asked him to stop with the attitude and his response was: I wasn't giving you attitude, but now I am. I asked for a paper and pen to document everything. He said his name is Victor and he's the night auditor. At that point, to avoid any further confrontation, I waited in the lobby for 3 hours to speak to his manager. During my wait, as his coworkers walked in to clock I could hear him laugh and joke about our interaction with her. He was loud and unprofessional. When Maria, his manager arrived, I asked her if we could speak in private and she agreed. She was very professional. She listened without interrupting, and she acknowledged that her associate made a mistake and apologized for the bad experience.

We had a great experience at this hotel. Victor at the front desk was awesome and we are thankful to have crossed paths with him. We wish all hotels were as clean and kept up like this one. Attention to detail was apparent in all aspects of how the room was taken care of.

As a road warrior I get to stay in a lot of variety of hotels each week, month and year. This was the first time I have stayed at the Best Western Plus Fairfield Executive Inn in Fairfield, NJ. While I frequently are in the Fairfield, NJ area my choice has always been a competitor. But I find this convenient, pleasant, newly renovated and the staff was very accommodating. As I checked in I was Welcomed. The room was as requested with a casual chair and the shower had grab bars to safety. The room was clean and well appointed with king size bed-very comfortable, desk to complete the day's business activities with quick Wi-Fi connection, and a large tv to complete the evening pleasure. While the hotel is close to a busy road, the room was quiet. While this was my first stay here it will not be my last

I like the hotel, the food at the Calandra's restaurant was good and the french fries were good. The room was very nice and I did like the shower in the room. However, I hate the hotel because they have no pool like they had last time we visited. I AM NEVER STAYING AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least the TV had Trutv on it so I could watch Impractical Jokers. The hotel is so very boring. There is nothing to do in the area besides the Willowbrook Mall which we did not go to. That pool would have felt so good.

Excellent staff at all hotel sides! Good location (from 10 to 30 minutes drive to all famous well known malls and outlets) Good sale at 90% of stores (vary from 30% to 70% off original price). All outlets have a clearance section for all items with a very cheap prices.

We had some crazy issues that popped up. Upon check in I found out that our two rooms, where not what I had requested. I needed one room with handicap capabilities and had hoped for a joining room in order to better care for my 78 year old mom. The lobby staff was very nice and said they would try to get us set up the next night. Well, they upgraded our one room to make it a connecting room, but the door was drywalled in on the other side! This was due to a remodel and the computer not matching the room layouts. We did not want to move again, but felt better because the wall was shared. Through these issues though I have to complimet the absolutley amazing staff. They were kind, apologetic, and just cared! I have never met a nicer group of people. Everyone in the lobby, cleaning crew, and breakfast area were beyond nice and wanted to help. Despite the issues I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

They didn't have my Platinum rewards number on file at time of check in. Even though they took my information when I booked the room. I don't know what happened from the time I booked the room earlier that day till I checked in.

Of all the Best Western Plus level hotels I have stayed at this is the Tops Great Facility, Super Staff, Excellent Lounge and Restaurant and their Breakfast is untouchable 5 STAR It's decor and staff provide a quiet relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a evening to unwind after a busy day of business or site seeing.

I love this hotel; people don't just work; they do their best and go out of their way to make you happy. The shuttle bus also made it convenient to go anywhere from this challenging location. I would strongly recommend it for anyone staying at Fairfield.

We stayed 3 nights. The room was very comfortable, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. It was a very good base to visit New York and it was close to other friends we were visiting.

We stayed for two nights and were truly glad we picked this hotel to stay in. We were impressed by how clean the hotel is. Every area, from hallways, stairwells and more importantly our room, was spotless. The beds were very comfortable, bathroom had great lighting and a beautiful vanity. I normally don't use appliances that are in a hotel room because they are usually gross but I did use the microwave in our room. It was so clean it seemed brand new. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant and enjoyed the free breakfast which had everything you could want including an omelet station. The employees of the hotel were very attentive and seem to really care about pleasing the guests.

Should we ever get to Fairfield again, this will be our place to stay. I was a single in town for nephew's ordination. Lots of family with children there. LOTS! In addition to the ordinand's family, there was a small meeting as well as a wedding party staying the same weekend. Let me compliment the staff in every department. Front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, grounds keeping, and especially Jennifer, the bartender extraordinaire, on Friday night, when everyone was checking in, tired from flying or driving and ready to ‘come down' with a drink. Unflappable all. I must say, I didn't use the gym or pool, but I heard from family they were good. And welcome, after all the festivities. Food is good. And restaurant looked lovely. The outside courtyards are is a nice change from indoor activities. Music in the lobby area where the bar is...one nigh a piano , one night a vocalist, but none was intrusive on conversation, just a nice way to relax with music most of us knew. Thanks to all of you who go out of your ways to care for your customers and guests. Oh yes,. My room could not have been nicer. Really good shower!!!

The hotel was convienent and clean. The restaurant for dinner was great italian food. Breakfast features an omelet station included in your rate, very nice place to stay. When we are in the area again we will surely stay here.

I had an opportunity to stay at the hotel because of a nearby convention. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was perfect and spotless. I have stayed at many Best Westerns however this hotel I feel exceeds the expectations of a "plus" hotel. We will return!

I stayed there for a family event weekend. My room was adequate. It was not one of the renovated rooms and that was ok. The bed was comfortable, but the furniture looked a bit tired. The bathroom lacked a working fan, and the old tile floor in the bathroom was a bit slippery. The bathroom wasn't dirty per se, it just needs some tlc. The room temperature was difficult to regulate, as the a/c either blew really cold air or warmish air. Breakfast for those who eat eggs would have been great. I'm not an egg person myself, but I was satisfied with oatmeal and fresh fruit. I thought it was odd that pastries and muffins were cut in half, but then again there is less waste. However, Calandras bakery was in the shopping center adjacent to the restaurant, so I'd go there for pastries. I do know that Calandras owns the hotel, bakery and restaurant there. I didn't bring swim clothes for the indoor pool, but extended family members were disappointed that the pool had been drained. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Anything needed was promptly taken care of. Would I stay there again? Not sure. Perhaps in a renovated room.

Very pricey for a decent hotel. The pool was closed and has been since last year. It would have been nice if we got that memo before checking in. The only option that the front desk offered was to go to another sister hotel. Why am i not getting refunded for missing amenities? Breakfast was good as well but I had a run in with one of the waitresses after a misleading sign was posted about breakfast area being closed. Didn't complain to the front desk because i was afraid i was going to be directed to a sister hotel. Overall decent stay. The cleaning people were at least very nice.

We flew in to the local airport late in the evening and had no real destination in mind to stay. The FBO staff recommended here. We are glad we took them up on it. I have to say this place has the best hotel breakfast that i never paid for. Usually the hotel breakfasts for me are coffee maybe a bagel or toast a cold hardboiled egg and a piece of fruit. Not here. Omelette station!! Fresh omelettes made in front of you with real eggs and ingredients. The pastries were all fresh and delicious! I wish my local cafe had such nice croissants. Coffee was flavorful and piping hot. The rooms were comfortable and the staff were incredibly friendly. Plenty of space to spread out all our ipads laptops and camera gear. Check in was simple and fast. Easy entry off the highway and ample parking. This place really made me rethink my preconceptions of Best Western. I'll be back. Hopefully soon.

Stayed here with family for a wedding held nearby. The hotel is clean, very comfortable beds, great breakfast included and free parking. Free shuttle to wedding venue and back to hotel really was a plus. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a family wedding in the area of this hotel. We received shuttle service to and from the affair. they also shuttled us at whatever time was needed.The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Great breakfast it was buffet style. everything was very fresh.. We had a really great stay and the hotel was decorated beautiful.Highly recommend.

I have stayed here several times and everything has been great. Never had any issues at this hotel. Front desk is accommodating and professional. The rooms are spacious and clean. The continental breakfast has numerous options to choose from.

I have to be at work no later than 6:45am. So I am Very happy with early breakfast. And they are ready to make eggs to order at 6 am. And the rest of the breakfast is out at that that time. Regulating room temperature was challenging.

The hotel was ideally located for our needs. We stayed there last Thursday. It was clean, nicely appointed and everyone we encountered on the staff was very nice. The breakfast was just perfect. The omelet station was great. Cooked to order. Pastries were fresh. I really liked that they cut some of the muffins and other pastries in half! Many times, I just was a taste not a whole one. I thought it was a nice thing. Interesting that we realized we stayed at the hotel when it was the Fairfield Inn many years ago for a wedding.

I've stayed here a number of times when I travel to this area. One of the better Best Westerns. Service is always great, good restaurant on the premises so convenient when you don't want to go out after work. Building is older but the value is good.

Best hotel in the entire area. Hotel is very clean. The jacuzzi suite is super spacious. Breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend staying here! The bed was very comfortable and comforters were very clean.

We had a good 2 night stay. Location was perfect and in close proximity to everything we were doing. Hotel is clean, comfortable and staff was excellent. We ended up in a 1 bdrm suite with jacuzzi tub so it was super roomy. Only downfall was water pressure being g weak in the shower. Did the job, just took a little more time.

This hotel is great. Not only was room clean the rates where very affordable for the Tri state area. The staff was very friendly and there is lots of parking. The bed was very comfortable and decor was nice.

Have stayed here about 6 times i last 12 months. Always well staffed,very clean and nice atmosphere.Always have room ready and in great condition. Breakfast staff is a really well organized group of people.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and my husband and I could hear everything that the person next door was doing. The folks next door alarm would go off around 5 a.m. and would continue to alarm on and off until 8 a.m. We also could hear the persons entire conversation and television ....to say we got very little rest is an accurate statement. In the hotel defense its my fault that we had 3 sleepless nights because I did not report the issue until the time of departure. I was hoping it would get better. We have stayed in various hotels/resorts around the world and this is the first time that I could honestly say we could hear the people next door . If it was not for the noise issue I definitely would have rated this hotel higher. The service in the restaurant, lounge and hotel was very good and the rooms were clean. Small bathroom but again clean.

Clean comfortable room , great bar , and good food, reasonably priced Everything you need when travelling. I miss the steam room , and the pool is a little on the small side , but overall a great place to stay.

We have to stay here when in town for work and it is not impressive. While the staff is kind and helpful, the facilities are very dated with musty rooms, dark decor, squeaky gym equipment, and a very dark restaurant/bar area. I could not get the wifi to work (despite being connected) over the 4 days and the breakfast (while free, which is great) is all carbs and I eat keto so could only have a hard boiled egg. Not impressed. Appreciate the free parking and helpful staff - needed new keys twice.

I spent a week in this hotel and everything has been great. The room is clean and bed confortable. Lots of choice for breakfast. The restautant serves good food and waiters are kind. Stayed 4 days. Used it as a base for visiting friends and relatives. Always good. Best restaurant in the area. Must go on Tuesdays to get half priced pasta and one half off bottles of wine. Plan to eat there on Tuesdays. Best breakfast as well. The danish is the best since they are associated with the Callandra bakery in the same parking area. Like it they will make omelets for breakfast as part of the free breakfast.

We come back to Fairfield, NJ (our former home for some 30 years) from time to time to visit dear friends and family. When our friends and family are not able to put us up, we book a hotel. In the past we have stayed at several hotels along the Rte 46 corridor. This time we booked the Best Western Executive Inn. We are so impressed with this hotel, we will be making this our “go to” place for all future trips. The rooms are sparkling clean, as is the entire hotel. The restaurant provides daily breakfast (included in your nightly rate) that is above average with made to order omelettes, cook your own waffles, cereals, fruits and breads and pastries directly from their famous bakery right next door. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner and the food is outstanding! Service is excellent. There is a wonderful pool, hot tub and gym which we have not had the time to use, but looks very inviting. I give this hotel 5 stars!!!!!

I am surprised by the excellent reviews of this place since this wasn't our experience at all. We stayed here as part of a bus tour on our way to NYC. When we entered the room, it was really cold - the temperature set at 61 degrees. Others in our group had the same experience. Fortunately, that was an easy fix. But, we found the room to be not terribly clean or in good repair. The sheers on the window were ripped from top to bottom. There was a good size hole in the carpet. The shower curtain was spotted with mildew. The walls could've used a good scrubbing. On the plus side, we enjoyed being able to stop down at the bar for a drink. And we enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.

The room was very nice and very clean. Had a delicious dinner in the lounge. Rand in the New Year at the bar. The music was very nice and you could still hold a conversation!! Enjoyed the pool as well!! Staff was awesome!

Chose this Best Western on line and one never knows really. This Best Western far exceeded our expectations. Very efficient and pleasant staff and check-in. Rooms were very nicely appointed and not at all cramped. Plenty of space. Very clean...room and bathroom. Shuttle bus provided us with transportation to and from our venue. Driver most courteous and helpful. The next morning the breakfast provided was awesp,e amd way above what we have found before at other hotels. All in all we highly recommend this Best Western if you are in the Fairfield, NJ area!

although the internet struggled on the first floor, it was great on the 4th floor where my room was. I do wish the rooms came standard with better cable and a guide function so your not blindly flipping through channels. I missed out on all western finals games because I did not want to go to the bar to watch them.

I stayed at this hotel for my 50th high school reunion. The rooms are large and clean and the staff is very accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful. My only complaint was that the hotel van failed to pick me up after I got off of the bus from Port Authority. They said they sent someone out but he didn't see me. It was impossible to miss me considering I was the only person standing on the side of Rte. 46 right next to the ramp

Very impressed with the BW Plus Executive Inn in Fairfield. The rooms were large and comfortable, staff were all very pleasant and professional. There is a very nice Italian restaurant located in the hotel that was good as well. This will definitely be my hotel of choice when back in this area.

Utilized 25 rooms for a wedding block. The staff at this hotel is excellent. From the sales person who organized our room block and complimentary shuttle buses, to the front desk staff, housekeeping staff, breakfast staff and bartenders in the lounge ... they have all been well-trained to deal with guests. The furniture in the room is a bit heavy and dark but is in very good condition; the room are clean, the beds are very comfortable. We were very satisfied with using this hotel for ourselves and our wedding guests.

The hotel was clean. They provided extra supplies that I appreciate... Qtips, make up remover, etc. Unfortunately, the mattress was hard, pillows were plentiful but lumpy, and the room refrigerator was noisy... Combined, these made it hard to sleep even after an exhausting day of touring. Breakfast was exceptional. Omlet bar, Waffle maker, plus all the traditional offerings... Fruit, pastries, oatmeal, etc.

The reason i say special is because the staff and service at this hotel was top of the line, and reason for my four star rating Actually the staff deserves 5 stars . I would say the hotel is three star Because it was somewhat dated but kept up well and clean and from what we read will be renovating very shortly. A very good included breakfast came w ur stay. Can't say enough about the hotel and restaurant staff especially Leda at the front desk and Luli Zaku, assistant general manager and Judy who made our omelettes at breakfast . I stayed here six nights while in town on business. Overall, the hotel is a nice hotel for business and family travelers alike. My only complaint is that amenities are hard to come by. Coffee in the lobby costs money. I also found the room to be outdated, although very clean. The housekeeping staff were friendly, and courteous, but often took well into the day to clean my room. However, I would consider staying here again on a return trip.

clean, comfortable...staff is friendly and helpful.. and i think this place has 4 floors.. we had to leave early, but i do remember smelling a nice hot breakfast as i was coming down the elevator. Bed was comfortable.. the usualy micro, frig, tv, etc... my only complaint. and this is with 99% of the hotels i have stayed at.. i have seen in in only ONE hotel so far. a little device the reroutes the air/heat so it doesnt blow directly into the curtains... yes yes. leave the curtains open. but only if i want anyone outside or santa claus to see me naked..., dont want him to go blind and fall out of his sleigh.

I stayed here for business for 5 days everyone is friendly very nice clean rooms plenty of parking close too many restaurants and businesses well kept I wouldn't recommend the restaurant that's attached

I stayed one night in a king room and it was very pleasant. The hotel was very clean, the staff was ok and the restaurant and breakfast fantastic. My only complaint was how hot the room was and the air conditioner did not seem to cool it sufficiently. Great location, convenient to the mall, shopping and restaurants.

We really enjoyed staying at the Best Western Hotel and like the free breakfast. The food and entertainment in the restaurant was amazing. We will be going in the near future. Next time I would like to use the pool. The bakery next to the hotel has so many great bakery goods.

The service, quality and value is fantastic! My clients are pleased every single time we visit. The Hotel offers a very nice restaurant and lounge as well as a delicious complimentary breakfast with an omelette station. Not your typical Continental Breakfast, but so much more! The free shuttle service to area attractions is such a nice bonus as there are so many wonderful places to dine and shop within the area. The staff is second to none! They are helpful and service is prompt. For me and my groups, there simply isn't a reason to look elsewhere when traveling through this area. We will be back soon and look forward to our next stay! The Best Western Plus Hotel in Fairfield NJ is one of the "best" Best Western Hotels that I have stayed at. The restaurant was excellent. The complimentary breakfast with omelette station was an unexpected surprise. The breads and pastries were perfect.

This is a great hotel. The rooms are big, very clean and they have an excellent breakfast buffet. It's in a great location if planning to visit NYC, the bus comes just footsteps from the hotel. The staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel over any other in this area! This hotel also has an excellent restaurant on location.

We always stay here on our way West. The hotel is clean, staff is very friendly and best of all, next door is Calandra's bakery. Awesome cannolis and other pastries. They also do bread—hot every hour. And it provides breakfast croissants and other goodies.

Very convenient and accommodating with my usual request of wanting a room on the first floor. I usually come to hear the entertainment that plays on a Saturday evening in the lounge and enjoy the delicious breakfast.

Staff were friendly and informative. The room was nice although the drier didn't work. I literally had to hold the on button to dry my hair which was annoying but it did its job. Complimentary breakfast was good, not much variety but the cook can make you eggs or omelette which was the best part of the breakfast. Overall the place was good. I would come back

Also stayed in July for a high school reunion and the front desk helped us cancel our reservation through an online booking company and gave us the group HS reunion price which was 1/2 the price of hotels.com

The hotel has its positives and negatives. The positives include adequate handicap parking, an attractive lobby, restaurant and bar, excellent meeting facilities, and an outstanding employee staff. The free breakfast was outstanding, The negatives ave to do with the room and furnishings, which both needed refreshing. The beds were uncomfortable, the armchair was worn out, and the bathroom was not ADA compliant.

Hotel was a great experience. One night stay for a family wedding. Very accommodating, great service, pleasant staff. Rooms were very nice and beds were very comfortable. Extra pillow and blanket in room were very helpful. Location was convenient and size of hotel was perfect. Bar and restaurant were great to have in the hotel. Next morning breakfast was delicious. Fresh omelettes/eggs made to serve right in front of you.. that was awesome! Overall great experience!

Above average lodging just west of Willowbrook Mall with an attached excellent Italian American restaurant. It handled 2 weddings & my HS reunion simulanteously without any apparent issues. Very comfortable hotel lobby. Only issue I came across was the treadmill in their fitness room was not operational.

I travel to New Jersey for work. I always choose to stay at the Bestwestern in Fairfield, NJ. because of its location. I especially like the bakery, deli, and pizzeria that is directly next door to the hotel.

Our experience here will bring us back. The staff was courteous, respectful and professional. The room was comfortable. Best bed away from home in ages. The restaurant, Cucina Calandra, seduced us with the flavors of Italy so much that we ate there all 3 nights. Next to a busy road, so bring earplugs for a restful night's sleep. I have to nitpick to find fault.

The Best Western Executive Inn in Fairfield,NJ, is somewhat away from a downtown location, but believe me,thisis a far better place to stay whether on business of as a tourist to NYC or Newark. It's just magnificent and the staff are treasures. The bar and restaurant are both first class, and if you want to swim of push weights that's there too. Highly recommended.

Skip paying extra for the jacuzzi suite the jets in the jacuzzi where weak and the wet bar was completely empty never again will I pay that high of a price for a 1 night stay at this location again the staff was cool and the room overall was nice and clean but the things it was supposed to come with it didn't

I stay at this hotel at least once a month for work. It's clean ,the air conditioners in the room are updated and don't smell like mildew, and the breakfast that is included has ample choices including prepared omelettes with ingredients of your choosing.

The room was excellent the staff made us feel comfortable as well as offering help with places to do thing and ways to travel to the city. The batrtender we great we will definitely be back very soon !!!!

Had to stay late at the last minute meetings ran late always use this hotel when in the area and they squeezed me in always a great place to stay . The bar and restaurant on premises is great and the breakfast in the morning is ready to go.

We were very impressed with this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Restaurant had excellent food. Went to the lounge after our wedding and it was a great atmosphere at 11:30pm. Bartender was nice along with meeting other customers.

Unexpected need to stay for 3 nights. Friendly staff, quiet and spacious rooms that are spotless. Any issues are dealt with right away and no request is too much. I used to live near this hotel before moving abroad and know why it has stayed in business. Enjoyed our stay!

The hotel was very nice although the restaurants prices semed a little high the quality of the food was excellent except for the artichoke app. I would recommend going on Tuesdays to the restaurant they have a half price thing going on.

Check-in was easy and friendly. Rooms and hotel area VERY clean. Loved the express check-out. Restaurant a little pricey but the food and desserts and were well worth the price. Server was very friendly and helpful in ordering. The baked goods and breads from bakery fabulous. Free breakfast had everything you could want. Omelets and pastries especially good. Would stay here again.

The front desk service is excellent. However, the service in the Restaurant and Lounge leave a lot to be desired. Grumpy staff and it appeared they hated their jobs. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and it is quiet in the halls. Excellent pastry and breads that are all made at their bakery next door. Worth a trip to that bakery. Yum!

The hotel stay was very good except for the (false)fire alarm that went off for almost 20 minutes. The fitness center is okay, but it was very HOT in there. There was a small AC wall unit powering the room which was clearly. It big enough for the room itself.

Staff at check said they were oversold and didn't think they would have a room for me. When I asked about my best western rewards welcome gift for Diamond members the person at the desk said "I don't even know what those levels mean." Not the best impression to give your top clientelle.

I've been here in the past, and they seem to be keeping the place up nicely with upgrades and such. It was clean, comfortable, and had more than I needed. It is a great place for out of town wedding guests to stay and have access to the shuttle for reception transportation.

Internet did not work in rooms. Room amenities were poor quality. Not worth the price, which was not cheap. Night staff was exceedingly unhelpful. Recreational drug use was obvious at night...despite "no smoking" signs. Very loud at night, although security guards were ultimately deployed to calm the situation down. Gym was outdated but okay for a small hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Restaurant salmon was excellent.

This hotel is very well run. The staff are unfailingly friendly, welcoming and professional. The hotel has a very welcoming lobby, a bar and restaurant, washer/dryer available for guests. The room is spacious and comfortable. Excellent value Our only disappointment was that the air conditioner was so loud we actually had to turn it off in order to sleep.

Was there for a class reunion. Used the pool which was very clean. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with an omelet station!! Short walk to other eateries and the hotel was convenient for the reunion venues.

Hotel was nice. Very clean, very professional and friendly staff. The room felt slightly damp all the time, but it may have been that it was so hot and the A/C had to be on all the time. When we left the room with the A/C turned down, there was a stale smell in our room till the a/c cleared it up. Not bad, just would have been nice if it hadn't been there. We had dinner at the bar - we ordered 4 items, 2 were excellent and deliicious, 2 were good, but nothing special. Breakfasts were absolutely wonderful. I can't imagine what a "full" b'fast would have been as this expanded continental one had everything you could want - omlettes with a variety of things to choose to put in, oatmeal with choice of toppings, yogurt, myo waffles, bread for toast, danish, donuts, muffins, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, tea, and it all was great! All staff was very nice. Would stay here again.

The hotel is clean, the breakfast is great and tha staff are wonderful! I had an auto accident while staying there and the Manager and Staff werer incredible. They really CARED that I was taken care of.

Very friendly and clean hotel. Bad internet and phone reception but other than that, a nice stay! Close to restaurants, mall and parkway. No business center, must use the lobby computers which kept shutting down and could only print via sending documents though email to the front desk staff and waiting for them to print.

Loved everything about this place...Reserved a king suite for myself and I was pleasantly surprised that the bathroom was equipped with a large jetted tub that was not in the original room description...My stay was only for two nights and I was treated very professionally by all the staff on site...I would definitely stay here again when I travel to northern New Jersey again !!

Nice hotel, great great breakfast. Air conditioner did not stay on, some sort of delay, made sleeping difficult and temperature was in the 90's a couple of those days and high humidity. Otherwise an excellent stay

This hotel offered a shuttle bus to the reception; which was very convenient. The hotel staff was excellent. One suggestion would be to put the guests of the bride and groom on the same floor with rooms close together.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and is was very good both times. The rooms are large and clean. There is also a bar and a restaurant at this hotel that are very good. The restaurant has excellent food and the bar has live entertainment. I was surprised how quiet the rooms were since there was a wedding party the night we stayed there.

I stayed a mile away the nite before at the Hampton Inn, my regular brand. I was surprised to feel that this BW was as good, no better than the Hampton Inn. The lobby was unespected and for a BW and very nice. Everything else was quite good. Breakfast included a hand made omelet, instead of the regular scrambled eggs. I like Hampton Inn, but would return to this BW again.

We had 3 rooms here and they all had cleanliness issues. From dirty, stained sheets, dirty bathrooms and towels with other people's hair on it, I do not recommend staying here. And to top it off they have safety issues as well. A relative was stuck in the elevator and their staff was not trained properly to know how to get the door opened. Luckily my husband is a firefighter and when we returned from our wedding he was able to get her out.

Very good restaurant and lounge within the hotel, one of the better Italian experiences of a fairly avid traveler. Staff was hospitable and always greeting visitors with a great impression. Overall this was a great experience. The room décor was slightly dated although clean.

The hallway is a bit long and some rooms are far from the elevator but overall it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great - made to order omelets..But our room had a weird banging/clanging noise from the ducts I think that was very disturbing at night.

Staff extremely welcoming and friendly. Manager Steve went above and beyond to accommodate our late request to be on shuttle to venue. Complimentary breakfast was perfect. Omelette station and make your own waffles. We even left a makeup mirror in room and housekeeping found and turned it in to lost and found! Booked this hotel rather last-minute. Chose it above others in category because the price was $10 cheaper per night. Can't imagine the experience was worth any less, however. Check-in was a breeze. Arrived just after a big group and worried it would take awhile to be helped. Was totally wrong. A second reception desk attendant immediately waved us over to help us. Room was ample and was clean. What's more, it included helpful touches, not only including wall-mounted hairdryer, but even cotton swabs (wish more hotels did that!). Rate includes beautiful breakfast in hotel restaurant. Delicious fare, including made-to-order omelette station, in nice surroundings. (They'd do well to add brown sugar to the buffet for the oatmeal, though that's being rather picky of me.) Before checking out of our room, we checked out the facilities for next time and found a small gym and a very nice indoor pool! Check-out was simple: a bill was delivered in an envelope to our room the night before we checked out; assuming we agreed with it, all we had to do was keep the bill for our records, sign the (now empty) envelope and drop it in a basket at the reception desk. Seriously, it could hardly have been easier! Overall, very nice environment that felt as well suited to groups, conferences, etc., as to families. Standard location along a fairly major road, not far from mall, restaurants, etc., but hotel had beautiful plantings out front that made it feel less impersonal. Nice touches all around!

This place is the place to stay in this area for the price and tranquility of a place to rest. Overall experience is great I will defenetely be back very soon. The breakfast area was very nice and the food was great.

A little bit Outdated but great value rooms felt a little 1990ish very clean which is the most important anyways also offers shuttle service which was helpful great place if you have a tight budget I think

I am alway pleased with my stay here and I friendly and inviting staff. Everything I need is close by and when it isn't they find away to get me there all complains of the hotel. Always satisfied with close acces to our office and comp ride there when needed.

When I arrive at this hotel, I'm always warmly greeted at the front desk. They do give me a corporate rate since I'm here on business. My room is very comfortable with 2 queen size beds, a nice work station, micro and refrig. I have never had a complaint. Tonight, I ordered room service and had a nice house salad with a piece of scrumptious carrot cake for dessert.

The hotel is clean and recently updated. The staff is pleasant and the resutrants are very good. The lounge is top notch just great atmosphere and live music.We love coming here. Our kids do too the pool is just the right size for familys as well!

Heat was stuck on, Tv was Broken, Hair Dryer was also broken. Most uncomfortable night stay I have ever had at a hotel. I asked for manager several times but was always unavailable . I was extremely dissatisfied with our stay and the response of the desk people working .

Stayed at this hotel for a work trip and was pleasantly surprised. The staff is sweet as ever and would help you with anything you needed. Rooms were really nothing overly special but were very clean and tidied everyday which is special to me. Rooms had a desk, small refrigerator and a microwave. Beds were super comfortable and that was best part about the rooms. Breakfast in the morning is amazing, nothing short of the best waffles I have ever had. The hotel is close to a large mall and lots of chain and unique restaurants in the area as well. The indoor pool is very nice although when I stayed it seemed some guests had their own little party with a lot of people making noise and splashing. It got to be distracting and uncomfortable but after a bit the staff did come and break it up. Overall it was a great hotel for a business trip and I would imagine any trip. If I were to need a hotel again in that area I would definitely stay again.

Our family gathers at the Faurfield Executive Hotel to celebrate the thanksgiving holiday. The hotel and restaurant have accommodated our family celebration over the last several years. They have enable our family, who is spread over all over the country, to have great family time.

The Happy Hour was a pleasant surprise and most enjoyable. The Double Queen was an excellent size, the bathroom was smaller than we like. The setup of the bar and dining room was quite unique and very crowded the evening we were there.

I stayed 3 nights. The room is ok nothing special. The breakfast is good with a cook available for omelettes or eggs in the morning. I had to call 5 times to get something back from laundry. The good point is the italian restaurant attached, available on room service.

Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Made my stay very comfortable. I was able to get to work on time every morning and a pick up every evening with one call. This staff became great friends in a short time making me feel like I was home. A very enjoyable trip. I will definitely make this my home away from home. Can't wait for my next trip.

Unfortunately this place is just not good. The air conditioner in my room did not work despite my request that someone come to the room and fix it. As a result I barely slept either night. It was not hot outside but must have been in the high, humid 70s in my room. The hallway noise was terrible with doors slamming all night long. Parking was difficult. I will be returning to the Hampton Inn next time I'm in the area!

So, I am not pleased, as you can tell by title of my review! I will keep it simple. The outside is modern, so is the lobby with hints of where they 'cheap-ed' out on the renovation. Check-in was unpleasant. I was told I had to present my AAA card upon check in and when I got there I was told there was no discount and I was supposed to do that online! I tried explaining this to the 20 something year old 'manager' only to be met with the "Sorry, There's nothing I can do". Anyway, I skipped over losing my 10% discount and looked forward to this "modern and up to date" room and "renovation"... When I got there I LAUGHED IN DISGUST AND DISBELIEF! The carpet was disgusting, cheap, not modern at all. It smelled, The room smelled of mold, And Don't kick on the air conditioner! There was wall paper on the walls consistent with the early 90's if not 80's. The bed sheets and linens were cheap and looked like they hadn't been updated since the 90's. The furniture was old, the bathroom was NOT renovated and had a bath fitting over the tub. It was even broken too! The hotel put a patch over the holes where the handicap bar used to be! In conclusion, Don't bother trying to get your money back either! It's futile! In the end I paid over $180+ for horrible service, a disgusting room, lies, etc. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE! STAY AWAY! There's a beautiful La Quinta, Comfort Inn, Radisson, and Marriott in the area! Going on... There breakfast in the morning is horrible! When I asked the girl making omelets to make me one, I got the nastiest look ever when I didn't put a tip in her Jar! Are you kidding me!!!! Get used to it! Tip envelope in your room for the cleaning staff, tip cups all around the bar, tip cups are the omelet station... I'd like to feel like I can pay for my stay and not feel obligated to tip everyone for basic service! Never staying at a Best Western again! Neither is my family, friends, or colleagues.

We stayed only one night and we are very pleased with our stay. The hotel is nice and clean. Room has everything you need. The breakfast was very good: you won't leave a hotel hungry. We checked out int the morning but left our car on the parking lot, took a bus to NY city, only 25 min ride, spent day in the city, came back and left a hotel.Very convenient. Will stay again.

Everything was great except they stopped the Managers Receptions and the prices in the bar are to high. The restaurant serves great food and the wine is great as well. Pizza, Wings, and Porkchops, Chicken Ceaser Salad, and Chicken Melonize Sandwiches are great. I would stay away from the burgers.

The rooms were very nice, modern and up to date. The service at the desk was timely and attentive. The breakfast was outstanding someone actually made me a omelette, now that's what I call a free continental breakfast. Will stay again next time in town.

I am not extremely dissatisfied with my stay at this hotel, but I'm not really satisfied either. There were several little things that weren't worth reporting to the front desk when I just wanted to sleep, but that piled up, and made my stay unenjoyable. One thing that really stood out to me was the lack of power outlets. There were absolutely no available bedside power outlets. I sleep with a CPAP machine, and the fact that I had to unplug the bedside lamps to plug it in was pretty annoying. Not to mention, in this day and age, everyone has items to charge, like cell phones and laptops. Many use their cell phones as their alarm, so It's annoying when there is no place to plug it in near the bed. The power outlets that were available were either loose fitting or bent into the wall. Finding the one outlet my phone charger didn't fall out of was a real pain after 7 hours in the car. The HVAC unit in my room was very finicky. When I arrived, the room was stupidly warm. I turned on the fan on the HVAC unit, but It turned off after a couple minutes. If I wanted to cool the room down, I had to power-cycle the unit multiple times, until it decided to blow air again. That was a pain, but not worth dealing with maintenance right before bed. My biggest gripe is with the beds. They were just plain bad. To get an idea of how these beds are, just fill a burlap sack with grapefruits and bouncy balls, and lay on that. That should give you an approximation. I woke up with one arm asleep, and a monster crick in my neck. The friend who stayed with me shifted to the floor for a bit, and said he slept better. The room was clean though, the bathroom was well laid out, there was easy access to my room from a few entrances, and there is a lot of stuff close by. It just missed entirely on the 2 or 3 things I actually want from a hotel room - Comfort, Convenience, and Sleep.

Stay was very comfortable and convenient to where we needed t o be. Only downside was we arrived at 10:30PM and room service ended at 10PM. Staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

I was there for a wedding and with the discounted room I had a $149 room... meanwhile the same exact room (with less hard beds) I've had cost $98 for a wedding and other bookings I've made. It is beautiful and clean.

Best Western Plus Fairfield is convenient on Route 46 East about 45 minutes to NYC and Meadowlands. The front desk staff is efficient and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is a good selection of continental items and omelet station . Parking can be difficult on Saturday or Friday evening

The Fairfield Best Western Plus is very clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable to the area. I found the BWP to be quiet, modern and include a very nice restaurant. Breakfast is buffet style with many options. I was more than happy with all aspects. A very comfortable night's sleep, Will be staying there again on NYC area business. (About 1/2 hour+ drive outside the Big Apple)

It was a great to stay for a few days. Rooms were clean and everything else was perfect. The Calandra restaurant which is part of the building offers some great italian food. I would recommend this to any of my friends.

The hotel was excellent ! All areas were clean. The staff was exceptionally professional. The only bad thing was the TV in the room. The channel selection was confusing and the picture quality was abysmal. The business accommodation consisted of two lobby computers with a printer that did not work, but the reception staff allowed me to print my boarding passes from their computer.

This was a decent hotel. Friendly staff and rooms were comfortable. The restaurant connected was convenient and good. I would stay again for my business overnights. Safe place to stay and several restaurants in the area. It isn't as close to my office as I would have liked so traffic was a mess in the morning, but nothing against the hotel.

This hotel needs a total renovation. The beds are horrible. It smells as soon as you walk in the lobby. Elevator display was out. Bathroom is extremely small, the door misses the toilet seat by inches. The shower is so small. The air conditioning unit is loud & rattles. The bed comfort is non existent, you can feel the bed springs. Restaurant attached to hotel is way over priced for the type of food they serve. My whole floor I was on smelled like a bar. the ice machine is crammed in the corner next to the washer & drier. The walls are also paper thin you can hear people in the rooms next to yours as if their in your room with you. The TV reception is horrible most channels blurry out of focus.

I've stayed at this property a few times, largely because the price is right and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is small-ish (they even have a shorter toilet so that the door can open and shut), but there is counter space around the sink. The free breakfast is OK with options that include made-to-order omelettes, fruit, waffles, pastries and cereal. On this visit, I was looking forward to some oatmeal, but the pot was nearly empty (and didn't look too good). But I survived on an omelette and fruit (fresh-cut pineapple and watermelon).

Excellent location and pricing for the 60th Reunion of Montclair HS Class of 1956. The service was excellent. the breakfast was great and the staff was courteous. The only problem I experienced was the noise in the bar during the early evening.

We stayed for a wedding that was in the area. The first room we were given had an odor, we called the front desk and they promptly moved us to another room. The hotel has several floors, an indoor pool and an outdoor patio. Even though it is right on the side of the road, we did not have the problem of hearing traffic. Everything was very clean, and there were plenty of towels available for us to use in the room. The staff was very nice. There is a large breakfast buffet that is complimentary with your stay which is very nice. There are a lot of items to choose from. On a side note, they did offer shuttle service to the wedding reception that we went to. This is a huge plus for anyone looking to book a block of rooms for a wedding. I would stay again if I was in the area. I found the cheapest rate for this hotel directly through the hotel's website.

This is an older hotel, and the facility isn't that bad, However the room is not user friendly with regards to charging receptacles. The internet is like 1980's dial up. Forget it unless you have your own service. The furniture is outdated, but it is a Best Western. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of nice quality pillows. The bathroom is bright and appears to be updated.

Excellent staff, very helpful. Most rooms a significant walking distance from the two elevators. Clean, neatly decorated, quiet. Driving access is tricky if approaching on Route 46 from the East, especially in the evening while driving into the setting sun, but that's New Jersey's plan.

Traveling for business and this was my first stay at this property. From the start the staff was friendly and very helpful. The property is well maintained, looked after and clean. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. Would recomend and will definitly stay again.

While on a recent trip I stayed at Best Western Plus Fairfield Executive Inn for 3 days. Very modern hotel with spacious clean rooms. Beds are comfortable too. I always stay here when I visit the area. The staff are super friendly and the rooms are beautiful! There are coffee makers and refrigerators in every room. I can't say enough great things about this place. The pool and hot tub are amazing! The restaurant has great food and are priced affordably.

Enjoyable stay.. hotel is clean and staff super helpful. Hotel restaurant has to be one of the best Italian restaurant in the area - we spent an enjoyable evening with my New Jersey relatives food was amazing and the company was great too!.

We have choosen this hotel, because the description has mentioned, that the comuting to New York will be very easy. We have first checked by phone and got a already there a very friendly and professional response. When we arrived at the hotel our first impression that we had from the phone got confirmed. A very friendly staff at the reception was explaining all the details to the hotel and our main topic the comuting to New York City. We then relaxed in the indoor pool and tried the comuting the next day. This worked out fine. From the hotel we had to walk around to minutes to the bus stop. The bus was on time and as described by the staff at the hotel, ride took around 25 minutes. The ride back home did also work out fine. The bus dropped us off directly in front of the hotel. For this we had to give the driver a businees card of the hotel as a reference. All in all a very nice stay and surely to recommend.

We chose this hotel because of its location while we were visiting friends. I would call this place above the standard BW sites. The staff is great and the rooms are very clean. The free breakfast includes an omelet station in the attached restaurant.

We picked this hotel as the half way point for our travel to Virginia Beach. Everyone was nice and the hotel was better than we expected. We would stay again. We had no issues to report. Check in/out was a breeze. We did not know this area at all, but travel to a restaurant for supper was easy.

I've stayed at this Best Western, Fairfield, NJ, a number of times because of its convenient location to the company I work for. The staff has always been helpful and the rooms are well maintained. On occasion, I also use the room service at the end of the day so I don't have to find a restaurant. The food has been very good and the selection diversified enough!

I have been staying at the Best Western Fairfield for business for over a year and a half now. They staff has always been very friendly and make my stay as comfortable as possible. They have a free shuttle that will take you or pick you up and it is almost always ready for you in a short time frame. The free breakfast is amazing with fresh fruit, omelet bar, waffles, pastries, oatmeal...basically anything you would want. The underwent an exterior face lift and they managed the construction so that it wasn't disruptive to my stay.

Just completed another stay at the Best Western Plus, Fairfield. When we visit family in the area this is the only hotel we consider. Convenient location, friendly staff. clean rooms and an excellent breakfast.

We could see the hotel just on the other side of the road when driving but took us 5 minutes to reach it due to the 'no U turn' in NJ. Renovation going on at the front entrance so had to enter through the back and were told when checking in that we needed to move the car from the back entrance by 8am as they were going to put tar and repave the whole back portion of the parking area too. Hotel itself was a pleasant surprise. My family is quite particular about the cleanliness and the 'smell' etc...and we were quite happy. Room was spacious but AC was a bit noisy and tricky as kept timing out. Breakfast was just excellent. It was in the main restaurant of the Hotel and had an Omelette station, as well as 'make your own waffle' station. Excellent variety of fruits, breads, juices, etc. Checkin checout a breeze. Surely would recommend

We were supposed to stay at the Best Western at the airport (as we were departing from EWR the following morning) but they were fully booked so we opted to stay here. Check in staff very friendly, rooms a good size and clean. (just needed a plug next to the bed to charge phone!) Only downside (and reason for 4, not 5 stars) was our experience the bar/lounge for lunch and the food took ages to come out and we ordered soup, bruschetta & wings, which are the quickest things to cook! Food was very average and drinks very overpriced. Would return again but not eat at hotel. There is a Pizza place and Chinese take away right next to the hotel. The Chinese was delicious!

Recent renovations improve what was already a wonderful facility. It is the staff, however, that sets this hotel apart! Welcoming, helpful and professional all the staff deserve kudo's ! The desk staff- especially Steve and Sean- have always gone "beyond the call of duty" to make sure my tour groups have a great night's rest! I always look forward to our stays at this hotel!

My husband and I stayed here for just one night and it was great. They had everything you needed. Their breakfast was amazing, there was even an omelette station. The room service was awesome, the food was delicious and service was very a fast. The room was very clean and nice.

Although it was for business, the place was really nice. The rooms are constantly clean and the services are good. The fitness center is small but manageable and the pool/ hot tub is a plus. The front desk are very friendly even though my card seems to never swipe. If you do come here please try their restaurant, Cucina. The cheesy garlic bread are to die for and prices are very fair. I would definitely come back to this hotel! One problem is that their wifi seems to never work. So be careful

My Experience with the Hotel is very Satisfied as per my view. Very ECO Friendly. The Staff are very Friendly. Renovation in progress did not hampered any inconvenient to the customer. Over all well maintained.

The Hotel is under construction. It looks like it will be nice when its done, although the rooms can use a little updating. There aren't enough electrical outlets, and the internet is slow. Forget the breakfast, there is usually a few tour buses that pull in in the morning and the restaurant will be a zoo. The lounge is nice. All the staff are courteous and friendly. And there are a couple of decent restaurants withing driving distance on Rt46, although, remember its NJ. You need to drive 5 miles down the road to make a left turn.

Stayed for 2 nights with a group of 40 traveling in a motor coach. First of all this property was a mess. The main entrance was closed and the only entry was through the attached restaurant's entrance. The rooms were clean and rather large. I tend to rate a hotel by the number of outlets available to charge all my devises. This hotel had one outlet in a lamp. Nothing by the bed. You could tell this was an older property because of the height of the sink in the bathroom was very low. You couldn't even look out the window because it was covered on the outside with plastic! If you're looking for a hotel in NJ to be close to NYC you should know this is at least a 45 minute drive with good traffic.

It was a very comfortable stay. I am glad to rate this hotel a 10. Breakfast could be better by adding meat products but I thought the staff was awesome so I rated breakfast a 10. We loved the heated pool. Jacuzzi was not working but it looked wonderful. I loved how there was a shower and changing area at the pool as well. I enjoyed everything. Thanks for your services.

Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms and lobby, and a really great breakfast that holds you over to dinner. Hotel shuttle takes you to and from NYC bus which is located at a very large very nice mall. NYC bus is 20 minutes to Broadway and costs a few dollars. I stay here every time I travel to NYC, and I enjoy my stay every time.

There was a good deal of exterior construction, but interior was lovely. Staff was great, room was large and bedding was good. the breakfast bar had wonderful bread, baked goods and pastry.Would certainly stay again.

We probably won't have the need to spend the night in the area again--and that's a shame. This was a pretty decent place for the money. We were greeted by pleasant and professional staff; found a clean and spacious room, nice pool and hot tub, decent fitness center (with a selection of free weights--dumbbells--which is somewhat unusual) and the best included breakfast we've had in quite a while! Other reviewers have commented quite favorably on the restaurant there also, making me wish we'd had dinner there instead of stopping elsewhere before we arrived. The only negatives are related to the ongoing renovations and I suspect that it will be all in top shape when they are completed.

Stayed for three nights in February and we had a reasonably nice stay. The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment inside and out; this project could likely be finished by the time you stay there. The inside looks modern, bright, airy and there is a large lobby area. Our king room had been redecorated, but there were some design misses. The new TV had a small screen and sat on top of a low dresser. It would have been better had they purchased larger screen TVs and mounted them on the wall. The wall and lamp electrical sockets were old and loose and should have been replaced. It was challenging to find a socket that could adequately hold a plug. The bathroom sink and toilet seemed lower than usual. The room was quite large, but a lot of the space was wasted - just empty space. This was not a problem for us, but the space could have been put to better use, perhaps with another comfortable chair and ottoman ( there is one already). We liked having a small empty refrigerator in the room; we do not like refrigerators that are filled with a minibar. Ours had plenty of room for bottled water. The front desk staff were very nice - helpful and pleasant. The included breakfast was more than adequate. Overall, we had a nice enough stay and would consider this hotel for any future trips to the area.

Location is great, you can easily travel to anywhere in NJ or NYC via Rt 46, 80 or 3 from here. There is a standard mall within 2 miles, and a large Target even closer. The rooms are very clean; request a room near the pool to take a quick dip in the hot tub. The best advantage is the food choices in the immediate area. As part of the hotel, there is a fabulous restaurant named Cucina Calandra, & Calandra's Bakery which is highly regarded as one of the best in NJ. Neither will disappoint. The options do not end there, across the highway is Jose Teja's quality Tex-Mex, Nikko Japanese Sushi & Hibachi, and a Houlihans to enjoy some food, cocktails & company. Nikko is the most impressive of these choices. The atmosphere & bar is upscale, and you can be seated at a regular table or hibachi grill (sushi is superb as well). You can board a 40 minute bus ride to NYC nearby, if need be. Check NJTransit.

PROS: Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, excellent free breakfast (including an omelet station and more fresh pastries than you could imagine), and a fantastic restaurant right in the hotel, which I highly recommend for dinner. CONS: Cold water in the shower (not just our room--another guest complained, as well), some room outlets didn't work, ATM out of service, outdated decor in common areas. The hotel appeared to be in the midst of a renovation, and I trust the owners will address the issues noted above. It's definitely a very pleasant stay for a business trip, and with a few tweaks, this place will be top notch.

I recently stayed overnight at this hotel. At first, I was a little disappointed because it is undergoing some type of construction, and it seemed like I had to walk a mile to get to my room. The hallways are very very long so if you are disabled in any way you should request a room closer to the elevator. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room. It was large, very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was well worth the walk LOL. I also had a cocktail in the bar. The bartender was very friendly, and could make a really good Cosmo. It was a great gathering place. The next day I enjoyed the free breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. There were many options, and the food was tasty. All in all I would recommend staying at this hotel if you need to be in Fairfield area.

This is a nice Hotel to stay during your business trip or family vacation. rooms are very big with fridge and coffee machine. Service is also on a high level. There are no any big supermarket close to the Hotel but it is not effecting general mark.

This an extremely L . . O . . N . . . G hotel. I swear I have been on mega cruise ships with shorter hallways. There are breaks but your eye thinks they are mirrors because you can't believe how long the hallways are. We were there for NYE. The hotel arranged a free shuttle for us to a nearby venue for the holiday where our friends' bands were playing. They always have the free shuttle within a short radius (5 miles?). You can go to the airport at Caldwell but not Newark. They had two weddings plus about 20 rooms for our friends and the people who were there for their NYE celebration but the hotel never really felt crowded, except at breakfast the next morning. I took my food & ate in the lobby. The Calandras restaurant on site makes awesome food. Try some of their house wine. The red zinfandel was mild and full of cherry flavor. I had driven by this location for 30+ years but never been inside. It was cleaner & way nicer than I expected. It was a good value if you have to be in the area but the area is pretty desolate. There is a small strip mall next door & all sorts of Malls (Willowbrook) just a few miles away. The indoor pool room was small but well appointed. I liked the Tuscan feel of the tile. The heater in the hot tub was broken, making the pool water warmer than the hot tub but the bubbles we still powerful.

Very pleased with accommodations. Decor was nice, room was very clean, bed/mattress was comfortable. Atmosphere was quiet. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Bar area was nice; oversized drinks at happy hour were a nice surprise. Continental breakfast was better than most...the omlette station was a definite plus. The room rate was reasonable. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

We had a party at this hotel and everything was great. All our guests said the food was excellent and they had a great time. The hotel staff was very helpful especially Jodie who did everything she could to make sure the party was a success.

I stayed here for three days over Christmas with my boyfriend. It was preferable to stay at a local hotel rather than family. The Best Western has the best reviews in the area and the price was very reasonable. The rooms were clean and spacious although a tad outdated. The breakfast buffet is not extravagant or mind blowing but decent and provided enough options to appeal to every palate. Overall a decent stay with no complaints. It provides no frills but it's a comfortable stay.

Stayed at sister property Hampton Inn, after deciding to stay an additional 2 nights..Best Western Executive Inn fit the bill..A King Suite, complete with Jacuzzi, Exceptional Staff, was given discount rate, Exceptional housekeeping staff..Will definitely stay again for any extended stay plans in the future.

I was very please when staying at this hotel. I found the staff friendly, the fitness center in very good shape, the restuarant very good, and in room internet service worked very well. I would stay there again.

Fantastic food, some of the best Italian food I've ever had, the portions are ridiculously big so no good if your watching your weight lol. Service was very efficient and all the meals arrived the same time.I had the stuffed egg plant starter and a chicken main meal I forget the name of it, I had no room for desert.

This is definitely the Best of the Best Western Hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast was the best of any hotel nationally with pastries from a terrific bakery next door, fresh fruits, made to order omelets etc. all for free. Great selection of dishes for dinner which was available at the bar restaurant as well as the main restaurant. Happy hour & Entertainment in Bar with timely and friendly servers, good drinks. Close to shopping, sports venues and of course New York City. This is the place I stay at when visiting New Jersey & New York. Prices are reasonable & and the rooms are comfortable.

Can't say enough good things about the Best Western Executive Inn in Fairfield, NJ. In addition to the convenient location and helpful staff, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms is top-notch. And...don't get me started on the fantastic breakfast and restaurant food. No better breakfast - no matter where you travel! Many items are from their fantastic bakery next door! For comfort, service & food--no better place to stay.

We have a business trip for 2 days and we liked best western plus so much. Room was large and bed was so comfortable. Also room was clean. i definitely recommend everyone. Breakfast also was perfect. Also concept of restaurant very nice.

A good hotel with clean sheets, but lacking a few high end touches. It has a pool, and a decent breakfast. Bakery items are from a good bakery next door, and they have an omelet / egg station. But things like foam plates and plastic cutlery, prevent this place from being high end. Still though, its nice for what it is.

I had on my wedding guests stay here for my wedding a few weeks ago at the GroveJust a few miles away. The staff made everything so easy from blocking off my rooms with the sales department to checking in with the front desk . We even got shuttle service, which made it even perfect so my guests didn't have to worry about drinking and driving. The breakfast was also amazing . So many different choices . I give this place and A+ all around

I always stay at this Hotel, the food and employee's are always great and the rooms are the best for a great nights sleep. Whenever I'm in the area either on business or pleasure I stay there, never had any complaints/

This was an outstanding place to stay from check in to check out. The rate for senios was terrific for the area. The room was immpeccable and the staff from top to bottom was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was totally above and beyond with made to order omelettes, great pastries, and good fresh cut fruit.

I have stayed at this property many times for both business and pleasure. Never had a bad stay or even a bad experience. My room and the property is always clean, and the bar/restaurant is always terrific. (As for the bar, you may want to ask each nght what time they close, because a few times I was disappointed to find it closed early especially on week days). Breakfast does't have the best variety, but they do have an excellent omelet station, but what they do have is always fresh and tasty.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone - I spent 2 hours in the hotel and could not stop coughing. As soon as I walked in the room it smelled of smoke and chemicals. We were only staying one night so I thought I could tolerate it, but we ended up going to another hotel because neither I nor my husband were able to breathe while in the room. I am writing this review a day later and my lungs have still not recovered from the 2 hours we spent in the room.

Excellent choice to jump in a bus to visit New York and have no problems to park your car. You could stay at this hotel which have an excellent restaurant and breakfast. Good price/value. The staff is very helpfull and the rooms spacious and clean.

We stayed here for 9 nights while visiting our son who works in New Jersey. The hotel was excellent. Every facility available including a free shuttle bus to take us to the bus station for New York. There is a superb Italian restaurant, a bar with evening entertainment and the staff were more than helpful. Due to building work we asked to change rooms and they were very obliging. There is a pretty garden in which to sit, an indoor pool and gym and the rooms were clean and spacious.
