"Not what I expect from Best Western!"

Poor food quality and selection, small rooms, NO available parking, a bed bug bite. This motel appears to cater to clientele that park their cars on the property and take a shuttle bus to nearby O'Hare airport. Not what I have come to expect from a BW. As a Diamond member, BW is normally my motel of choice. But not in this case! The bedbug bite was an awful parting "reward" for our stay.

Visited Schaumburg for the night to see a show and needed someplace nice and simple to stay the night. Ended up finding something perfect at the Best Western Elk Grove. Called the hotel after arriving at O'Hare so they can send the shuttle and it arrived in 20 minutes. I arrived a little earlier than 3pm (regular check in time) but they were able to check me in one whole hour early. The room was really nice. Closet was a little cramped with just our two winter coats hung in it but that was because we left the ironing board in there too. Besides, we were only here for the night. There was a mini fridge in the room so, if you got something at the gas station nearby, you could keep things cool in there. Hotel WiFi was fast, even all the way up on the 4th floor. Fitness center is open 24 hours, but the door sticks. You have to force the door open, which could lead to you hurting your hand. The cardio equipment is good, the strength training machines... not so much. Breakfast in the morning was more than I was expecting. Cold cereal, hot coffee, waffles, yogurt, oatmeal and even corned beef hash and scrambled eggs. I booked the shuttle back to the airport at the desk in advance and it left on time. A pretty straightforward stay in Schaumburg. If that's what you're looking for, you'll find it at the Elk Grove Best Western.

The location was good, but just not enough parking. Breakfast is good, but doesn't start at 0600 like the sign says for Mon-Fri. Morning staff is really nice and very friendly, I had more interaction with them than the night, the only reason mentioning them than the night. I would recommend this place for sure.

If you only need a simple hotel for a night, this place is probably fine. As a park and ride hotel, however, I'd stay clear! Not only did we wait over an hour for a shuttle ride back from the airport, but the driver wanted to squeeze my entire family of four into a bench of three seats (meaning no seat belts), the driver threw an extremely heavy motorized scooter right onto our bags without asking if we had anything fragile in them (we did!!), and our car got damaged while parked in their parking lot (side view mirror completely ruined). I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Rooms are great for business trips. Be sure to check power and water amenities before getting comfortable. Shuttle service is superb! Breakfast is another stingy story. Just cereal and toast. Juices that are not juices and bagels that are few and scarce

This seems to be the only hotel near O'Hare Airport that allows you to leave your car there for the time you're away which is terrific. Thee shuttle diver and front desk reception were both very nice. The room could use some cleaning, however.

We live in Indiana, but we fly out of Chicago when we travel. We always stay at this hotel because the price is very reasonable to park our car and shuttle to the airport. We have stayed at this particular Best Western on numerous occasions and we have never had any issues with anything not working, noise, poor service or anything like that. The rooms are a bit small for 2 adults and 2 children, but the rooms are clean, hotel staff is friendly and helpful and the hot breakfast is always ready and delicious. The airport shuttle driver is always on time, helpful and very friendly. We keep coming back and I recommend this hotel.

Terrible experience at this hotel. I booked a room for one night after a long flight oversee .When we arrived at the hotel in the reception lobby , the ceiling was falling down there was a broken water pipe and there was water everywhere. We got the room everything was ok until we went to bed, and in the middle of the night we woke up bitten by bed bugs and me and my daughter we got scared, we gathered our stuff and went down to the reception.I explained to the receptionist the problem we had with bed bugs. The receptionist was scared and was afraid to touch the bed bug that I had caught on the bed .We ask for the manager but was not there ,we called next day and she was nice we got full refund for the night.When we got home we had to wash our clothes multiple times and dry multiple time many clothes are damaged now. We trow away our luggage to prevent a bed bug infestation.

I was able to catch an early flight and landed hours before regular check in. My wife wasn't feeling very well so I called the hotel to see if it was possible for an early check in. I spoke to Jennie a front desk attendant. She was amazing and so nice. Not only did she allow us to check in early she offered us a shuttle to come pick us up. She gave us a great room and we loved our stay. It was a great way to start my Vaca. Thanks again! Room was clean. Breakfast was great. They are doing some minor remodeling but it wasn't a inconvenience at all.

Four seniors traveling Route 66 stopped here for two nights. The rooms were decent (clean), and the average breakfast: eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, bagels, etc. We were given one room that the air conditioner was not working properly (set at 60, felt like 75). They gave us a second room, that was better, but the air conditioner still couldn't completely cool the room down. The iron worked poorly. Then the bathroom: it was clean, but the sink faucet dripped, the shower squeaked like a fire alarm, and the shower faucet wasn't working correctly either. If you can put up with some problems in your room, this is an okay hotel.

Clean hotel. Staff efficient and friendly. Rates for park and fly were very competitive especially booking directly with the hotel. Parking was on site with no restrictions as to specific places in the parking lot. Would go there again.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights when we arrived to USA and 2 nights before we left USA. Rooms were renovated and clean with comfy beds. Breakfast was above average. Shuttle service worked perfectly, hotel staff was friendly and helpful, would stay again.

We stayed at this Best Western during our family vacation to Chicago (Sun July 31, 2022 to Thurs. Aug. 4, 2022). We stay exclusively at Best Westerns when they are available where we are traveling to on vacation. My husband who travels a lot for work also exclusively stays at Best Westerns, is a Diamond Select Rewards Member. We are loyal Best Western customers, which is what made this experience so disappointing. When my husband checked us in he asked the clerk on duty if our room had 2 Queen beds and was told yes. We got up to our room and there were 2 Double Beds. On our way to dinner we questioned the clerk again and he claimed to have misheard my husband saying that he thought that my husband had said 2 nights, and that this Best Western only had King or Double Beds. We said ok and asked if it was possible to get a cot, and were informed that they don't have ANY cots. Frustrated at this point my husband grabbed the card for the manager and we went to dinner. While at dinner I realized that the clerk saying he was confirming that we were staying for 2 nights, didn't make any sense as we were staying 4 nights. We get back to the hotel from dinner and I ask the clerk for 2 extra sets of towels as there weren't enough towels in the room for all of my family to shower, 2 extra blankets for my kids and an extra pillow. I was told the towels were no problem and he could get me the pillow, but there was a limit of 1 extra blanket per room. I muttered you have got to be kidding me under my breath, and I'm sure the clerk could tell I was very annoyed at this point. He handed me the towles and then asked me to follow him to the laundry room for the pillow and blanket. He wound up giving me a second blanket, which I was grateful for as it allowed us to make up a bed for my son on the ottoman he wanted to sleep on. The next three nights were uneventful. When we were leaving we decided to use a luggage cart to load all of our belongings onto so that we didn't have to make multiple trips between our room and car. My husband was pushing the luggage cart and while going down the handicap part of the curb accidently bumped the hotel shuttle. The shuttle driver went ballistic threatening to kick my husband's butt and stepping into my husband's personal space. My husband raised his voice and said, "Listen here, I have spent more money at this company in the last year then you make. Back off." My husband fully admits that this wasn't his best moment. After we got the car loaded my husband took the cart back, he took pictures of the "damage" a tiny dent that was barely noticable and went to speak with the manager out the incident. The manager thanked my husband for his honesty and told him that the shuttle driver would be written up for his behavior. He was very pleased with how the manager handled the situation. We will never be staying at this location again, and strongly recommend that no one else stays here either.

I left my watch in the hotel and checked out. I told them to keep it with them for few months so that I can collect it when I go Chicago again. I called them after 2 months, They told now that they are not responsible and dumped it. and the manger was talking blunt and savage on the top of it. They did not even call before dumping the watch! and they said they cant do anything.. SUCH A POOR MANAGMENT AND LOST MINDS!!!

When we arrived, the hotel clerk said that they did not have our reservation but they gave us a room anyway. The first room we walked into did not have bed linens and the bathroom was not clean. I called the clerk and she was very helpful and got us another room that was clean. The room was pretty nice. The beds were comfortable. The air worked well. The shower in the bathroom leaked so we just closed the door when we went to sleep. Breakfast in the morning had some options. It was adequate enough. It was a pretty good price to do parking and a shuttle to the airport which was very nice. Overall, I would probably give it 3.5 stars.

Towels are thin (worst I ever experienced at a hotel). Shampoo bottle is too small even for one person to use one time. There is about a foot gap between one curtain to next one at the window, which allows light to enter the room very early in the morning. It was too bright for me to continue my sleep at around 5:30 A.M. Probably the worst value out of over a dozen of Best Western that I ever stayed.

We purposely chose this hotel to leave our car at for a flight at 7:30 out of O'Hare. It started when we got our room key went up to the room and someone was already in the room, we down to front desk and she realized the mistake she made. Went to another room, hotel is very run down with musty carpet through-out the entire hotel, bathroom was clean, besides the carpet in the room it was o.k. Check-in person was very helpful in directing us to go eat which was very good. We had to be down to the front desk by 4:oo a.m. for the shuttle provided a company the hotel works with, only to find out the shuttle doesn't start til 7:00, information would've been nice to no prior to us booking the hotel. The night front-desk person was clueless on how we were suppose to get to the airport since no other service was available. So we got a refund for our parking permit and drove to the airport ourselves. So be AWARE of the time of your flight if you're planning on taking the shuttle. Very Disappointing and NOT the way I want to start a vacation.

First room had broken Air Cond. Then they moved us to next room. MUSTY smell, drippy sink faucet, drippy shower head, dingy, worn carpet and furnishings. Some portable closet. This room was just STALE. Located in busy industrial area. Not save to walk to any nearby restaurants. Staff was real fine!! Breakfast was better than expected, especially during Covid. Next trip we will maybe pay a little more and get something nicer.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. They were very accommodating for a shuttle to and from the airport. We ended up being stranded by our airline and it was late at night when we finally were able to find a room for that night. The staff is great and we enjoyed their breakfast in the morning before getting back to the airport.

NEVER EVER BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! The most HORRIBLE hotel experience I've ever experienced in 24 years of my life. I paid $110 for this hotel. My flight got 3 hours delayed. The hotel didn't pick up the phone to get me an airport shuttle despite me informing them several times beforehand. I somehow still reached the hotel in a $45 cab at 12:15 am, alone in a new city, and then the receptionist said that we don't have any rooms. We gave your room away. It's first come first serve. FOR AN ALREADY PAID ROOM, they just deny you a room. They ask you to go to hell and refuse to take any responsibility. This happened with a lot of other people too who were just standing at the reception with me. A BOOKING MEANS NOTHING TO THEM. They are horrible people. They even refused to help me or put me up in some other hotel or anything in the middle of the night. The hotel should be shut down with immediate effect. NEVER EVER BOOK THIS HOTEL. YOU MIGHT AS WELL SLEEP AT THE AIRPORT.

We have used the Elk Grove BW twice now as we fly out of O'Hare on and international flight that have early departures. The system works great with the shuttle to the airport and pick after our trip. This is a safe place to leave our vehicle as we travel.

Location is good just room is very congested with lot of unnecessary things. No microwave just fridges which is mostly useless without microwave... breakfast was good and were making fresh eggs which is very rare...overall it was not bad as compared with other as Days Inn etc...

The management is great here. I was quoted a price, but charged something different. The manager gave me the night free. It may have been because of some other issues they were having that I don't care to speak of because it didn't affect me. Either way I was very pleased with how it was handled.

I've stayed here twice. The first time was fine, the second time my room had to be switched 3 times due to me finding tiny flying bugs on the bed of each room I was switched to. On top of me finding some type of foreign looking bug on the wall of the first room and killing a spider in the bathroom of that room. That of which I took videos of and showed the front desk each time. I ended up checking out two days early because there clearly was a infestation problem. I was told I couldn't be given a refund until the manager came back since I booked through a third party which was “conveniently” after my check out day. Every time I called in order to even try and get a refund, I was told he wasn't in or he wouldn't be in until this day. But once that day came, he still wasn't in. So they never intended on giving me a refund or he never shows up for work. But I definitely don't recommend.

This is my go to place when i'm travelling to or through Chicago. Close to airport, has van service and the people are absolutely great. Their breakfast is one of the best from this chain, primarily because the person in charge of the breakfast does such a wonderful job. Kudos to Maria!

The most frustrating is when you are trying to get back to airport. Shuttle service is very limited only ones per hour. Stuff is not friendly and does not explaining the rules that you have to check in for a ride. We were pressed to call a taxi.

Not a bad stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close by to some restaurants and of course O'Hare. I was here for Cubs games and not far away from Howard Station to catch the Red Line to Wrigley Field. WIFI was very good. TV was very good. My only negative and it is just me was the Hot Breakfast. My Southern Breakfast taste was probably the deal there with the eggs and meats. But they do have a wonderful selection for a hotel. Plenty of different things to select from. I would stay there again.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a recent business trip. I wasnt expecting much, but it definitely above expectations. The location was convenient not top far from the Chicago O'Hare Airport. They do offer free shuttle pick from the airport but we waited for an hour. The check in process was fast and efficient. The room was surprisingly very clean and modern. Fast Wifi. Bathroom was good, good water pressure. Overall the experience was positive as far as my stay.

The hotel is about a 20 min shuttle from the airport which is fine really. We had an early 9am flight from Terminal 3, got the 7am shuttle from the hotel and we were bang tidy early. What a dream. The only annoying thing for me were the food options around the place. We were there when it snowed so it was really hard to get anywhere to get a decent bit of scrum in the ebening to eat which was annoying for me. Not really the hotels fault but man was hungry and in the end I had to get something delivered and ate in their little seating area. The breakfast in the morning was pretty decent too, the infamous waffle machine, life doesn't get much sweeter than that.

Stayed at this best western while on an over night stop over in Chicago. Shuttle took approx 20 min to get to the airport and about 20 minute ride back. The driver and staff of the hotel were all very friendly and courteous. Room was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable! Continental breakfast included and free ride to the airport the next morning!

We just did a quick overnight after work to get a very early flight. The staff was ok but not real welcoming is why I'm giving it a 4. But the place is very nicely updated, clean and does not smell of smoke like some places that update everything except the carpet. Or wallpaper. Our room was very nice and welcoming, clean and very comfortable bed. This is a little farther from O'Hare than we thought but that was not an issue, I'm talking maybe a 10 minute drive. The shuttle service was great and quick and took us to exactly where we needed to be. We'd for sure come back here.

I am very disappointed by this hotel. First, customer service was miserable. Front desk lady was rude and not cooperative at all. I drove 5 hours and it was my bad luck that I lost my wallet containing my Id. I had an infant who was hungry and crying. She didn't even let us feed the baby in lobby. I was not allowed to check in neither I am issued refund. They lack both, humanity and courtesy. I'd never book this hotel again.

Very pleased with my recent stay at Best Western! The front desk clerk was very helpful, providing availability and answering questions upon arrival. The shuttle from the airport was a little slower and somehow we missed each other even though I was standing at the designated door. During peak times it would be beneficial to provide additional shuttle. The check in process was a breeze. The room was very clean and everything worked as it was supposed to. Did someone mention FREE Breakfast!

I was looking for alternatives for parking at Chicago O'Hare airport when I came across the best Western which offers a 24 hour seven day a week shuttle. I drove out with plenty of time for my flight, walked into the lobby, had paid my registration fee online...had it all done. But there were two women who had been waiting over a half an hour for the shuttle to take them to the airport, they were going to miss their flight...all I needed to do was sign a small form and they wouldn't hold the shuttle for me and just left. Then they told me the next one was in an hour which would've made me miss my flight. So I paid for a Lyft. +$22 On my return at 10 PM after a five hour layover in Dallas for Fort Worth, I read the instructions very carefully and called the best Western front desk. They told me where to go downstairs by baggage claim and stand under sign number three where it says rental car/parking lot & shuttle bus only. It's pretty obvious that this is the pick up spot. I had no checked bags or taken five minutes to walk here. Two best western vans blew past me at over 35 miles an hour in the hour that I waited for someone to come and get me. So I called the front desk and they said that the shuttle bus had already been to the airport and picked up some other people which, if they did they certainly didn't pick them up anywhere near me. The bus is black with a hint of white and giant blue letters that say best Western. I remember it very clearly. Basically saying it was my fault… They said they would send another shuttle and it would be about another 20 minutes so... 80 minutes for pick up at 11 PM. In The time it has taken me to dictate this review no other shuttle bus has been to the airport yet… I had confirmed my cell phone number with him when I called the first time and I just don't understand how you leave someone at the airport when they've paid for your parking service and the shuttle and you have their phone number. Who does that? Best western that's who.

All aspects of our stay were perfect. We required a hotel with parking and Shuttle Service 24/7 to and from O'Hare for our 15 day overseas vacation. The delicious breakfast was an added bonus. We'll be back.

Upon check in hotel staff seemed “off” wasn't personable or friendly at all! took card didn't tell me how much I was being charged. Gave me receipt with NO AMOUNT whatsoever. I literally had to call my bank and asked how much I was being charged and was charged more than what I was Finally told. Upon entering room the tub was dirty with stains Also didn't drain. I didn't even put my baby in tub and showered with flip flops on. Carpet Floor felt sticky, the towel bar was bent (in both bathrooms probably because the lights are so dim if you want to see your face to shave you have to lean over small corner sink to use mirror) in the 2nd room a big stain on floor (dried up hard stuff) door to closet was bent. Didnt close all the way flush. Didn't have suitcase holder in one room. Toliet clogged. It seems like they have bad plumbing. Just generally run down. But have the nerve to put a hold on your card for “incidentals” more like a scam. It's obvious they need money because I'm finding other reviews of them charging people for bogus stuff. Didn't complain to staff because it literally was too much to FIX but wish I had because Upon checking out now I see a bunch of bogus charges DAYS LATER from crap that was already broken! But I complained to corporate. Your reviews need to match the actual worth of the hotel. Not a even 3 star hotel. Stay away from this hotel!

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in October 2018 The room was quite nice, with a comfortable bed and a good size flat panel TV I had breakfast every morning and it was really nice, there was a number of cold items as well as a make your own waffle\\pancake station The shuttle to the airport was very reliable and I used this to get to and from the CTA station at the airport. The only issue is that the traffic can get a bit heavy at times in this area (which is nothing to do with the hotel) One last item is that as the hotel had a small business centre which had a choice of either using a Mac Mini with Mac OS or a Mac Mini with Windows to browse the web, catch up with work etc As I was a gold BW card member, I received some snacks at check-in which was a nice touch

We came into town for a show and realized that we had booked the wrong date. Completely our fault. The Best Western staff were incredible, they didn't miss a beat, they found us a room and we were able to thoroughly enjoy our visit to Chicago. Thanks for the Great Service!!

Our room was updated, clean, and comfortable. We used the shuttle service from the airport and then back. The front desk did not have our request for the shuttle but were able to get a driver quickly. The front desk people, night and morning, were not friendly and seemed either irritated that we were there or were just having a bad day. This hotel is not close to any public transportation that we could find. However, we were to get an Uber to take us to the city.

check in was fast and parking was available. Room was clean and noise levels were good even being close to the freeway. Breakfast was bleak - so advise not making your decision based on this unless a dry bagel and coffee is all you need. Internet was useless... too many other guests streaming videos is likely cause. Fire alarm went off in the morning. Not really the hotel's fault as it was very very humid. But it does speak to the maintenance of the facility.

We stayed there as it was so close to the highway. For the price you cannot beat it. Michelle the GM runs a very efficient hotel. It is very clean, the young lady at the front who checked us in was very friendly. She welcomed us as Diamond members and informed us of dinning options in the area and other amenities. We had a King room on the top floor away from the highway side. The room was very nice, clean and the bed was super comfy. The pillows were nice and firm and the bathroom is a good layout. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Lots of variety and tons of good coffee! The ladies taking care of the area were very friendly and had a good morning for everyone they met. Its the small things that always make me feel good about our stays. Its a very basic Best Western but dont let that fool you. The place is very nice and we felt very welcome and appreciated I would definitely stay there again. Thank you to Michelle and your team for a very pleasant stay. Very easy to get to off the highway. Lots of parking very secure which is also nice.

We checked in around 330-400pm on 6/8 the lady at the front desk was friendly but we came back around 1:30 am after our show and there was a new lady who seemed annoyed that we asked her to switch our shuttle time. Also when we woke up the same lady was working when we checked out and she just grabbed our cards and didn't say a word. Other than that the room was clean and the price wasn't too bad. I recommend if you don't like working in the customer service industry get a new job.

We stayed here on a park/sleep/fly deal at the beginning & end of our vacation trip. It was our second time staying here, the first time was several years ago when it was a Quality Inn. It's a basic motel, a place to sleep for a night or two. Little in the way of amenities. We felt safe leaving our car there, we found a parking space near the front door, under a light & within the view of a security camera. The big selling point is its proximity to ORD. A hot breakfast is available but it starts at 6 am. We had an early flight & needed to leave before then, but we brought some breakfast food with us. There are refrigerators in the rooms but no microwaves, those are in the breakfast area by the lobby. The shuttle to the airport was fine, it got us there in time to get checked in. Picking us up when we returned was more of an issue. Citing traffic they said it may be longer to get out to the airport for us, it ended up being about an hour & a half. We then called a taxi, but then the shuttle finally arrived, right before the taxi got to us. I'll rate it as satisfactory.

I needed a restful night and a good breakfast before a long flight to London and I got both and more at the Best Western O'Hare/Elk Grove Hotel. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was ready at 6am, I would like to thank the entire staff from the shuttle drivers to the front desk. I would like to acknowledge and thank Aryana for being so kind and cheerful at breakfast. Aryana was kind enough to honor my request to take pictures and send them to me via messaging! Nidia was very helpful at checkout helping me register with BW Rewards and giving me the link to TripAdvisor so that I could write this review. I would recommend this property highly to all travelers or anyone who who values great customer service. Have been staying at this hotel for years. Stayed here before Best Western took over. Probably stay 4 to 5 times a year. Always enjoyed the stay. We always stay and use the park, sleep, fly package. Well, I just called them for reservations in October. I needed 23 days of parking. I was rudely told by the desk clerk, "we only allow 21 days of parking". I explained that I was a frequent guest, and her response was that I should look elsewhere for that length of parking. Little did she know that there would have been 6 rooms involved with that reservation. I guess they must not need the business. So, I'll take this hotel off my list, as well as tell others to do so also. My money walks where I go! And it won't walk back to this place.

We stayed one night while passing through. Get an even numbered room—away from tollway noise. Quiet, clean, comfortable. Didn't eat breakfast. Didn't use airport shuttle. HBO channels on TV. Bathroom small but that's nitpicky. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

Horrible. Dingy. Gross. Party happening next door at 3 a.m. with people coming and going, doors slamming, a couple arguing: screaming, swearing at each other in the hallway right outside our room. Our request to switch rooms was denied. No security on premises. 5 a.m. the party next door turned violent to the point where we did not feel safe, cancelled our 4 night stay and left to go to another hotel. Zero comfort. Zero sleep. To top it off, BW charged us for a 4 night stay anyway even though we spent all of 5 sleepless hours there.

The hotel stay and parking were great. The shuttle service from the hotel to Ohare was great. The shuttle service from Ohare to the airport was terrible. It took almost 2 hours to get picked up at Ohare from the Hotel shuttle, with many phone calls, we were given many excuses for the shuttle not being there to pick us up. We are supposed to get a 10 % discount but as of now did not get it.

We had to stay overnight in Chicago which we didn't find out until 10:30 pm due to poor weather conditions. So fortunately I found the Best Western and since there were 7 of us in our party, they were able to accommodate all of us at this late hour! Since I am a member not only did I have enough points for a free night, they gave the rest of our party a discount for their rooms since I was a member! Very impressed! They were able to pick us up around 11:30 pm and take us to the hotel. They put us on a 7:00 am shuttle list for next morning . We were ready by 7:00 and had time to grab a quick breakfast . They had us to the airport in great time!

The hotel itself is fair, the room is clean and comfortable. The negatives are its not close to anything if you get there late on a bitter cold day. Your options are just phone order to couple of places with delivery upto an hour. Early morning flight out is also not a pleasant one with limited breakfast items. Still, it's better than not having any. The staff is kind of grumpy, and don't look for any help even to get change for $20 for couple of dollars to pay the van driver. Then, the consolation is there is a hotel van to pick you up and drop you off at O'Hare, and its predictable on the hour. For a short stay in between flights, I won't complain. Make sure you carry your small changes, and eat dinner at the airport, and you are all set for a no frill stay in a clean room and bed.

Room was ok for the price. Breakfast was very very basic. Lady at check in counter was rude, did not even greet us for a few minutes when we were standing in front of her and waiting. We booked two rooms on different reservation and she was not willing to make an effort to check the possibility of placing us on the same floor. We ended up with two rooms on the first and on the third floor. Last, the shuttle service is very poor. You will need to wait an hour in the freezing cold to be picked up. Next time I will Uber for sure.

From the time of check-in to check-out, the hotel staff had it to were they thought they had the perfect opportunity to make someone's stay horrible! Accused my daughter of smoking in the room. Was going to be charged 250$ without and evidence or someone offering to at least look, before they go accusing innocent people! Then the blow dryer was not up to code!!! It shocked my daughter's hand it flew out of her hand and hut hut tge mirror cracking it. And they are trying to charge me for that too! I'm furious! I have pictures of the faulty blow-dryer and my daughter's had! I disputed the charges. Which if they would if really took initiative and was remorseful and sympathetic and tried to resolve the situation professionally and accurately then I wouldn't of had to go beyond what a normal guest would do!

Same day reservations with no issues. Staff friendly and helpful. Modern decor throughout the property. Room is clean however little insulation between rooms ... can clearly hear conversations in the next room. Shower was roomy, good pressure with handheld shower head ... refrigerator and 40”+ TV with large channel selection. Free continental breakfast offered but left too early to enjoy.

We stayed at this hotel the night before leaving on a trip, and for a night when we got back. Our vehicle was parked there for a week with no problems. We felt it is a safe area to leave the vehicle. The shuttle ride was fine. Drivers were professional and courteous. One shuttle bus has stained seats and could have used a good deep cleaning. Our rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable both nights. Breakfast had some very good options, including a fresh yogurt machine with a variety of toppings. Would stay here again for prak and fly option.

We stayed here for a few nights in September for a visit to Chicago, we found the hotel to be very clean with friendly helpful staff, special thanks to Kristin who was very helpful in answering questions I asked via email prior to booking. Breakfast was very good with a good choice of hot and continental options. We used the shuttle several times during our visit to get the train from the airport to downtown Chicago, our longest wait was on arrival at airport for first time, about an hour, but this was during main rush hour period, the shortest was about 3 minutes. Should we visit Chicago in the future, would stay here again.

We did the sleep and stay option where we parked the car, did an international trip, and then stayed a night at the hotel on return, before heading home. The idea is great, the execution is awful. Waited over an hour to get the shuttle to the airport and it still was over 20 minutes out, so we had to take an Uber. Upon return, 2 girls in line with us at immigration called so I knew it was supposed to arrive in 45 minutes. I also called, so they would know we were to be picked up also. Temp in the 30's, just go off a 14 hour flight and stood there waiting. No pickup! Ended up paying $35 for a taxi. The only explanation at the desk was, "well, he was there". Um, no. He wasn't. I watched other hotel shuttles come 2 and 3 times while we waited for ours. To be fair, the room was fine. The shuttle service, however, is a deal-breaker and we will never stay there again.

For the right price for long term parking, you will pay the price for shuttle service games and frustration. We called as instructed after a long 7 hour flight at 11:52 pm (after immigration) and were told by Abby that the driver was there and on her way. This was a complete lie because after the driver finally arrived at 1:00 am, she told us her shift started at 12:00 pm. What happened in those 8 minutes before 12:00 pm? Unbelievable!!! These employees are ruining a good company because they lie and really don't care. There is more of course and the details are telling. We called again at 12:18 am and were told by Abby that the driver was there and would be there to pick us up in 3 minutes. She was impatient with an attitude that was inexcusable. And yet again she had to tell us another lie!!!! The driver told us she had a full shuttle load on her first stop and couldn't pick us up. That would have been around 12:15 pm if her shift started at 12:00 pm. We found the driver's explanation very hard to believe and probably of course a complete lie. Listen, we are not stupid and we can count. If it takes 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel she should have been around 3 times. We stood outside in 40 degree weather waiting and waiting (as required by the company) watching other company shuttles go by 3 to 4 times and still no show from our driver. Not even one time!! That is 1 hour and 8 minutes by my calculations on a very uneventful Friday evening with very little traffic and this should not have happened. The company information says pickups may take 5 to 45 min. We connected with another Best Western driver from Rosemont who actually noticed we were still there after his 2 rounds and cared enough that he called the Elk Grove location at 12:43 am to find out what was happening and then he cared so much so that he was going to go out of his way to take us to the Elk Grove location so we would not have to continue to wait outside like we were. At the exact time he was ready to take off with us in his shuttle the Elk Grove driver finally arrived at 1:00 am!!!! She told us she started her shift at 12:00 am and theoretically the company has 60 minutes from the time we call to have us picked up. What a bunch of garbage. Lie, lie, lie after lie. When we called at 11:48 am this Abby should have explained what was happening and what they would try to do for us in the situation. But she chose to lie over and over because she could care less about the customers of her employer and feels the need to cover for an incompetent shuttle driver. Then to top it off, when we arrived I asked if I could have a cup of coffee for my 2 hour drive home, she rolled her eyes at me and with her snotty attitude she barely said yes, of course, please help yourself. I'm sorry for all of the problems; please accept our apologies. No she couldn't do that because she does not care and I believe this is not the first complaint about this crew. Poor management of a good company would only allow this to happen at all. We will never, ever patronize this location again. This situation is representative of a failing company with very poor management. I usually do not leave poor reviews but this experience should be told so nobody ever has to go through what we did.

The stay itself was average enough. The problem occurred after we left when we suddenly received a large charge on the credit card we gave them. We called them and they told us they were charging us for a destroyed shower curtain and a missing pillow. The charge was for $75. We used the shower twice and neither of us noticed anything wrong with the curtain nor damaged it in any way. We both brought our own pillows to use. The manager would hear nothing of our arguments that we didn't do anything and we are now disputing the charge as fraud - which it is. Do NOT stay at this hotel. If you are forced to. Take pictures of EVERYTHING the moment you walk in.

The hotel is in a working class, but not dangerous area. The area for the breakfast is way too small and the dining area is not much bigger. The elevator was older and had an odd smell. However, the room was clean and very comfortable. It is in a good location for going to downtown Chicago without paying too many tolls. It is worth staying at if you are looking for an affordable hotel with free parking.

The room was hard to get into with a luggage cart. The bathtub faucet leaked. the breakfast area was too small and was hard to navigate because of the amount of people try to get items in such a small space. I was clean beds were comfortable. The internet was slow.

Stayed one night with my son & his wife (2 rooms) the night before I was flying back to UK. Really good hotel, good staff, great room. Very comfy bed, all amenities. Would have liked a bottle of water in room complimentary & didn't know how to turn on ‘fridge, but those were minor details. Biggest problem for me was that I was on the ground floor in between the reception & the lift, so able to hear people as they walked by. Still was able to sleep though. Decent bathroom & shower. Place seemed fairly new, decor in good order. Air con in excellent working order. Breakfast okay, tea & toast pleasant, would have liked some bacon & eggs, but I'm English! ?? Was able to make use of shuttle bus to O'Hare airport, which is 15 mins' drive away. This is an excellent complimentary service, 24 hours a day on the hour, every hour. Hotel is a bit out of the way but this is reflected in the very reasonably price. Uber to Downtown (40 Mins) $30 not in rush hour. Free parking is a great touch, unlike hotels nearer to Chicago. Great Asian buffet just opposite for lunch. We used the services of an external takeaway restaurant in the evening which was expensive, though delivered to the room directly. Recommended & would definitely stay here again.

Avoid this place. Shady management. Air conditioning wasn't working in a hot Chicago weekend and I was offered only 20 percent for putting up with sweaty nights. Carpets are wet and musty smell everywhere. Sorry you guys can keep my 20 percent reimbursement and have my credit card company take care of me. Update 7/17/2018: hotel management has contacted me and instead of taking any kind of ownership of the situation, now being defensive and asking me to contact them directly. Sorry, i have contacted when you had the chance, and with that defensive tone you have lost the chance long ago. I guess i will stick to 1 star. Sadly enough, theres problem in hiring process.

The hotel location is great. Shuttle service from Hotel to Airport is always on time; Shuttle service from the airport to the hotel is whole different story. The 2 times we called upon the shuttle, we had to wait around 2 or more hours for it to arrive. The next time, we decided to take a cab; the cab driver gave us a tip we used the next day. Get down on the Rosemont station and then take and Uber.

The stay started out fine - the woman who checked us in was very friendly and professional. Rooms were clean and comfortable enough. But we had an incident which kind of ruined our experience. We had flown into Chicago to start a road trip on Route 66. We got there the night before so we could start the trip early the next morning. We were picking up our rental from the airport in the morning, just before the timing worked out better with the length of the rental and the price. When we got home from dinner that night, we set up a shuttle to the airport with the gentleman working the front desk at that time. When he asked us what time our flight was, we explained we weren't taking a flight, but picking up a rental. He set us up for the morning and everything was all set. In the morning, we decided it would be easier to pick up the car and bring it back to the hotel to load our stuff in. We took the shuttle with one other family, picked up the car, and came back to the hotel around 0630, to find the key to our room wasn't working. It had demagnetized the night before, so we headed to the front desk to get it fixed again. The woman working at the desk said that since we had taken the shuttle to the airport, they figured we had checked out. Okay, understandable. But since we hadn't checked out, we just needed our key reactivated to get our stuff. She said the shuttle was only free if you get on a flight, and since we "fraudulently" took the shuttle to the airport we had to pay her $10. I told her no one ever told us there was a fee to take the shuttle to the airport. She kept saying I needed to pay her $10 to get my stuff out of my room. The man who set the shuttle up for us the night before never mentioned any such fee, and on top of that, we took the shuttle with another family, so it's not as if an extra trip was made. She finally relented, waived the "fee" and let me get my own belongings out of my room. She was pretty rude about it and seemed super annoyed. I work in the travel industry, and I know how things can be, so I VERY rarely complain. But this was pretty terrible customer service.

I stayed here on a quick business trip to the area. There is an airport shuttle, but it is a bit of a drive (roughly 20 minutes) to the hotel. The hotel is relatively clean. It is dated, but there have been some attempts to bring the rooms up to standards. Customer service is nothing exceptional, but not bad for a place of this caliber. I was always a little disappointed that the decaf coffee was cold by the end of the day. Those little types of touches definitely put the likes of Garden Inn/Hampton/Holiday Inn Express brands another notch up. The breakfast is your standard fair for these types of hotels (mediocre fruit, make your own waffles, mediocre bagels/pastries). Can't say I would recommend it, but no need to avoid it if the price is right.

Clean, convenient, friendly, and quiet. Need I say more? The staff were extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. The lobby and rooms were very clean, AND everything worked!! The best part--i could tell from the parking lot that they were fairly full...and it was Friday night...and when we went to bed, it was QUIET. I will definitely reccomend this hotel.

Just a 20 minute drive to the airport makes this worth while. We always appreciate reasonable priced rooms especially after coming back from New Orleans. Unfortunately one of the shuttles was broken down but we were advised at check-in and were grateful for an apology letter later. Thanks for coming back so quickly to pick us up after return flight. We stayed here as it was close to the airport as well as to the cemetary we were going to for a family funeral. Although it was right next to the expressway and very noisy outside we did not hear that while inside the room. Nice choice of breakfast items however the eggs were cold when I had them but shortly after they put out a new tray.

I stayed here for a business trip I had in the surrounding area. I was overall well satisfied and happy with my stay here. The front desk and staff was great. They were courteous and friendly. They also offered shuttles to the hotel in the morning. The hotel included a breakfast with the room. It was a small buffet with pancakes, fruit, cereal, sausages, potatoes, and eggs (among other things). It might not have been a 5 star spread, but it was comparable to anything you would get at Dennys or Ihop. The rooms were comfortable. They were well heated (since I stayed there in the winter). They offered several movie channels along with the usual local and popular cable channels. The bathroom was clean and had ample hot water. The only thing I wish they had was additional lights. I thought the room wasn't lit so well. Although the hotel is right next to a freeway, I couldn't hear any sound coming from it. However, the entrance to the same freeway was a mile away. The immediate surround area had a couple of restaurants, which I didn't try. I'd recommend having a car if you stay here. Downtown Chicago was about 30 minutes away by car on a Sunday morning, but it took me about 1hour and 30 minutes on a Monday morning (a lot of traffic!). Overall, I would recommend this hotel for people on business or traveling with kids.

We had to arrive a day early to beat a snow storm and the woman at the front desk gave us a good tip for dinner near the hotel. We ended up staying three nights...two before our flight and one after our flight. The breakfast was very good and they offered a grab and go bag if it was ordered the night before if the breakfast wasn't open before you leave. They were very accommodating. Be sure to book your airport shuttle ahead so they know the numbers for the van. Great friendly shuttle driver and he was prompt.

This was a clean and updated hotel, great price and free airport shuttle that runs every hour 24 hours a day, just what we needed! It is within walking distance to a couple restaurants. We stayed here because we had an early morning flight, this worked out great! We would stay again!

Stayed at this property four nights. It had been a very long time since I staying at a Best Western property. Was a very nice property! Wonderful room and very comfortable bed and the staff was excellent! I made a call to the hotel just prior to staying. The lady who took care of me was extremely pleasant and such a very friendly and helpful individual. I had a nice hot breakfast which was included in the price and free wifi. I will definitely stay again next time I am in the Chicagoland area. Thank you!

Had a great experience staying at the hotel. The clerk at the desk provided a great place to eat for dinner. I went with a friend that lived there, she was very happy when I told her this is what the clerk at the front desk recommended. No problems with the car parked at the hotel.

We stayed here the night before our flight out of O'Hare. The hotel was nice and clean but the room was pretty small. We could barely get the luggage cart in the room and close the door. We got a good deal for 2 nights and 17 days of parking. The shuttle was very nice and new and runs every half hour. We left at 5 am and got to the airport in about 15 minutes. The shuttle driver was lovely and waited a few minutes so we could get on. Other than the room being a bit tight space wise, the hotel was good.

Me and my daughter stayed here for 3 days and everyone was so nice! I especially enjoyed Maria in breakfast! Nidia helped me with getting around Downtown. I think her name was Abigail was so sweet to my daughter. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're flying into O'Hare. The Shuttle drivers were amazing and I didnt have to wait too long getting back to the hotel. I would suggest not charging for the cribs for the babies.

This best western was as I expected, this the reason I chose it. The reception area was nice and up to date, tidy, and smelled nice. The room was a bit smaller than I expected but overall just fine. Everything was kept well and seemed clean. I am a bit of a freak and always check for bedbugs as soon as I get into a room. I am happy to say there were none. The breakfast provided was great and fresh. The only downfall was there was no pool. Other then that I would definitely book here again.

I was extremely surprised by many aspects of my stay. the room was very nice and updated, the breakfast was delicious each day, and most importantly the staff was beyond friendly. Smiles and laughs are a great way to start your day. I was told good morning about 50 times, Everyone was smiling. And it was very reasonably priced to boot. I can't recommend this location enough. Such a great value for the money. Not what i was expecting from one of the more reasonably priced hotels in the area.

I called the Hotel, they did offer shuttle service, the gentleman on the phone said he would contact the shuttle driver to wait for us, she did, shuttled us to the Hotel. The lady at the counter was wonderful, looked up my BV Points, gave us a nice room. Internet worked fine. We needed to be back to the airport early, arranged a 5:30am shuttle. We were completely satisfied. Thank you BV for hiring great people.

The hotel check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. I know it is close to the airport, and although I could see the planes from O'Hare coming and going, it was not on the flight path and was quiet. Parking was plentiful and convenient. And access to and from the hotel was easy. The room was comfortable and I got a good night's sleep. Nice place!

I thought this hotel would be closer to O'Hare then it is. There is actually ANOTHER Best Western that is truly closer to O'Hare. Very nice building - Shuttle was very nice too - just had to wait about 45 minutes for the arrival/pickup - that was at 10:00 PM. I called to request shuttle pick up and she told me he had just lefts, so it would be at least 30 minutes. I called at 40 minutes - she said she would call him - and then there he was calling my name. Late check in = no dinner - so I asked for a yogurt from the breakfast area fridge and was told no - just for breakfast. Room was clean, on the first floor - right by the door. I was traveling alone and this concerned me a bit, but I didn't hear any commotion or any in and out - so all was well. Breakfast was fuel for the body. Eggs, potatoes, sausage and it looked like cut up bologna. Waffle station, orange and apple juice. Oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, bread, little donuts and little muffins. Enjoyed the fresh fruit to add to my yogurt...after the yogurt defrosted in my room...it was frozen solid. While taking a shower I was happy to see the soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers hanging in the shower, but they were empty - so make sure and grab the toiletries from the sink before you step into the shower. Shuttle Drivers were both very nice, as was the Front Desk.

We stayed one night as part of a park & fly deal at this hotel. Good shuttle service to/from airport. About a 15 minute drive. The parking lot seemed reasonably secure and we had no issues. We only used the room to crash after a long over seas flight. The 2 double beds were fine. It does have an old window ac unit that was somewhat noisy. Room had been remodeled and was fine for our needs. Breakfast was just ok. Considering the options around O'Hare, this is a good value.

Travel extensively and pick properties primarily based on location to meetings. Even though I planned to stay at least 2 nights at this BW hotel, I decided to check-out early due to my unsatisfactory experience; the room is dark and gloomy due to color combination, the bathroom is not well lit and, most importantly, this place has such poor internet (at least my room) that I could not work. The room phone was dead and the air conditioning hardly cooled. I do NOT recommend this hotel since there are MANY better options in the area. Will NEVER return.

Checking in was efficient. The customer service was great. The beds were nice. However, there were no real food choices for the continental breakfast. It was filled with carbs and fruit, no variety. Very basic. The shower was everything. The unfortunate part is that the lights near my room blew out so it was dark at the end of the hallway forcing the staff to plug up lamps in the hall, kinda unprofessional. Overall, I would consider staying here again.

Many of the rooms are too noise, i.e. all the rooms to the main road. The internet in the room was very poor, i.e. "low speed" or no internet at all. The price for this hotel is much too high compared to the quality. Our recomendation: Find an other hotel!

Do not stay at this hotel. It is a scam, just looking to make extra money off its guests. I was charged $1295 for a luggage cart they lent me, and $250 for a pet fee after they ok'd me having a pet with my documentation. They. Lain they have me entering the property without a dog or without showing documentation, but refuse to release the footage. Because they are lying. Beware this property and its manager bob Weingart. Horrible customer service and a complete sham of an operation.

Check in was smooth and the young lady working behind the desk was professional. We parked our car for two weeks prior to our stay, so we used the shuttle to the airport the day of our arrival. The driver couldn't have been nicer and was very helpful with our heavy bags. Upon our return, we called for a pick-up at the airport and the driver arrived within 15 minutes. Hotel lobby is clean and in good repair. Our room on the third floor was clean and in decent condition. The furniture was somewhat shop-worn, both the sink and shower faucets dripped, and there were some strange lumps underneath the carpet , but the bed was comfortable and bed linens very crisp and clean. Biggest problem was thin walls and door which made for a very noisy night, particularly from the hallway traffic. Breakfast was decent, typical hotel fare.

I needed a place to stay close to O'Hare the night before my flight home. The desk clerk allowed me to check in early, since there was a room available, which was a great relief after a 5-hour drive from southern Illinois (total eclipse territory). The room was spacious, had a refrigerator, offered internet w/o a password required, and lured me to its huge, soft, clean (I assume) bed. My only major complaint was that there was no overhead light: having a full-length mirror doesn't do you a lot of good if there's not enough light to see yourself in it.

This is a lower end hotel - far past O'Hare Airport from downtown Chicago. You will have to pay a toll on the freeway to get here after you pass the airport. My recommendation - stay closer to the airport and save the tolls. Indifferent service from the front desk. Some times hotels are cheap for a reason. This is one of those.

Check in was super easy and the hotel was clean. The hallways are a bit small, but that's fine. It is located on two very busy streets with a lot of traffic during rush hour times. Airport shuttle is very busy in the mornings. It is pretty easy to use the PACE bus system to get to and from the Rosemont CTA station, however. Make sure to look up the time it will be arriving at the stop--you want the 223 W--westbound. It stops on the Side of the Motel Six down the street about a 5 minute walk.

I enjoyed my stay here. The only thing I didn't like was the shuttle from the airport: The list that is on display in the bus and shuttle center at O'Hare does not include this hotel. I then had to ask drivers of other BW hotels outside where the shuttle departs. It's door 3; please fix this! Anyway, the room was cozy and clean. The breakfast was great: Waffles, scrambled eggs, meat, cereal, juices. I think Yoghurt was available too.

Lastly, the biggest complaint was that the side hotel door leading to the lobby never locked but now it has been fixed. Hotel airport shuttle service needs improvement. There was miscommunication about labeled vans at pickup. Super 8 and Best Western share a van, but sometimes it is only the Super 8 that is designated as the option. This was not conveyed when I called, so I waited about an hour for pickup from O'Hare International Airport.

We were happy with our stay here. Rooms and hotel were clean, and front desk service was great. When we were checking in, there was a large group ahead of us, who were visiting from another country. The front desk attendant did a great job of managing their group, while juggling the shuttle driver customers as well, all with a smile on her face. Her plate was full, but she didn't get the least bit frazzled.

I did not like this Best Western because it is poorly maintained. Halls & rooms smell musty & poorly lit. When I took a shower I had to struggle with the faucet which was rusted & the water temperature was out of balance. The Front Desk Staff was nice, but I know I will not return.

I attended a conference at McCormick Place, 24 mi. from the hotel, but it takes over an hour and a half to commute by train or road. Shuttle is only available to O'Hare. The A/C was broken, but because I booked through TripAdvisor, they refused to issue me a credit.

I used this hotel for the Park, Sleep, Fly aspect while flying out of O'Hare and was planning to stay the night at the end of my trip. Dropping off my vehicle was fine and the front desk tracked down the shuttle driver and he took us to O'Hare. Upon our return we followed the instructions and waited until we were through customs to call for a pick up. The desk clerk checked and the driver was on his way back to the hotel from the airport and would come get us within 25 minutes. We waited at the designated spot and after 40 minutes I called and the call was picked up and immediately disconnected so I called again and the call went directly into the phone queue of "we appreciate your business, please hold and you will be connected . . ." While holding and listening to this repeatedly after 12 minutes my travel companion called and was disconnected. She called again and was placed in the hold queue but her call was answered in one minute (I was still on hold!). She explained the situation and the desk clerk checked again and the driver was picking up a large group at the domestic terminal and she would check to see if he had room to come and pick us up as well. (Why weren't we picked up first when he headed back to the airport?). He did and arrived about 10 minutes later so I disconnected holding on the line at that time. My call was never answered. This service was very disappointing! We had come off a 14 hour flight from Asia and had to wait well over an hour AFTER we called for the shuttle. I would not recommend this hotel due to lack of service.

For the price we got what we expected. The staff where friendly and helpful especially the shuttle driver and the front desk. A few glitches we called to cancel only our first night stay as we had a flight issue but when we arrived the entire booking was cancelled. This was corrected after an hour of sorting. There was no cork screw for a bottle of wine so we had to improvise. The Hotel is a ways from the airport and train station so be prepared for a 25 min shuttle ride to the airport and train to the city. So overall I guess you get what you pay for it was clean but even after the renovation it still looks a little old and tired.

We were returning from an extended stay in Europe and wanted a hotel near ORD with courtesy airport transportation. This BW filled the bill. The shuttle picked us up outside of door 5 at the international terminal for the ride to the hotel. Hint - door 5 is not marked on the inside of the terminal! Only on the outside! LOL! As the crow flies, the hotel is probably only 5 miles or less from ORD. However, there is not a straight path to make the trip. While it seems like a long ride, it really only takes a few minutes. The shuttle service is managed by a third party provider and as such also caters to patrons of a Super 8 location nearby. We needed to return to ORD the next morning to pick up a rental car. It all worked fine. If you are coming in on a domestic flight, follow the signs inside ORD directing you to "hotel shuttles". Kind of a peculiar arrangement as the shuttles pick up at a completely separate building totally removed from the main terminal. It is not a difficult walk, but is lengthy. If you have lots of luggage, a cart might be helpful. This BW picks up at about Door 3. It is a bit chaotic, as there are LOTS of hotel shuttles cruising this area. Pay very close attention to the signs on the vans. Several BW's in the area. Might be a good idea to confirm with driver what the final destination/address is. Check-in was fast. Although I had requested a ground floor room, we were assigned floor 2. After 18 hrs traveling, it was not a battle I chose to fight. Room was decent. All linens were clean. AC worked just fine. Internet was fast. Breakfast was fine - pretty standard fare. Yogurt, hard boiled eggs, several hot items, pancake maker, hot & cold cereals, coffee, tea, milk, juice, and a nice selection of bread items. If you require 5 star quality properties only, this is not for you. However, if you need a safe place to stay, for a reasonable price, this should fill the bill for you. Everyone we encountered working at the property was very friendly. We ended up staying here both on the front end of our visit to CHI and the back end. On our last night here, the guest across the hall brought a dog with them. Apparently they thought it would be a good idea to leave the puppy/dog in the room alone while they went out. The poor animal barked, cried, and whined for 45 minutes until they finally returned. Found out later when speaking with staff, that these folks had identified the pup as a "service dog". Quite unclear why you would not take your "service dog" with you wherever you went. There are a few food places within walking distance - a sit down hibachi restaurant across the street, White Castle within a block, Subway and Dunkin Donuts within a block attached to a gas station with snack food and drinks. McDonald's is about 2 blocks away

We stayed here 5 days as a central point for visiting family and friends. The room was clean but the sink developed a blockage on Friday and was not fixed till Monday. They did offer another room, however we had a lot of luggage and decided we would just use the bathtub. The sink was fixed on Monday. Breakfast was good but lacked fresh fruit. Location is great if you know the area.

OK for an airport hotel but nothing special. Shuttle difficult to arrange from airport having travelled internationally and when it came it was hopelessly overcrowded. At hotel we were told fully booked and room we had booked was not available and of course they blamed Expedia. They then wanted to charge us $10 for a fold up bed when we had paid for 2 doubles in any case! Background traffic and aircraft noise. Good points were staff who seemed to try hard and were pleasant and breakfast which was quite reasonable for a US hotel. TA rating of about 3 seems very reasonable. Would not rush back for another stay

Due to the traffic, I was willing to pass up the shuttle service that was late in picking us up from O'hare. On checking in, front desk person offered an early wake-up call for 3am and wrote on our paper that we wanted the 3:55am shuttle service. Neither of these happened. No wake up call and no shuttle service. When we came out to get ready for the shuttle to bring us to the airport, front office person said that the shuttle just left and we were not on the list for that schedule. Unbelievable! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel is quite far from the airport. The airport shuttle serves also another hotel (Motel 8). On the way it passes just about every hotel chain, non of which call themselves "O'Hare". One has to make reservations for the shuttle (which gets quite crowded) and "arrive 10 mins prior to departure" according to staff. At this rate I might as well take an Airporter to any other random motel on a highway somewhere.

I've never been so disappointed in my life. I will say our stay at the hotel was fine, could have been cleaner, and breakfast was not offered early for people with early flights, which was annoying. BUT... After a wonderful vacation in Cabo for a week, we landed back at O'Hare around 10:30pm. Upon landing we called the hotel (our car was parked there apart of the park and fly package). We wanted to make sure the shuttle was still coming because our flight had been delayed almost three hours. We called and talked to the front desk who informed us that the driver had just left and was on his way to the airport to pick people up, and gave an estimate of about 20 minutes. We waited outside so we would not miss it, in the 35 degree weather and rain, and it never showed up even after 25 minutes. We called the hotel and told them we were waiting and that the driver never came, they told us he would be there in 20 minutes, so we continued to wait AGAIN now for 40 minutes. We called again and the staff at the hotel were very rude saying that he has been there and we missed it and it was our own fault for missing it. WE STOOD IN THE RAIN FOR 40 minutes right where they told us to stand and never saw the shuttle NOT ONCE. We asked them for the number of the driver considering they were not helpful at all, and didn't seem to care. They gave us the number of the driver, and when we called him he also started blaming us for missing the "shuttle" (which still had never come), he gave us an estimate of another 20 minutes... but was still a no show. After almost 2 hours, phone calls with corporate, and phone calls with the front desk, we decided to call a taxi (which they told us they would not compensate us for), the shuttle ended up showing up right as our taxi did, so we hoped on the shuttle. On top of all of that we asked if they would compensate us a room for the night, and they told us they couldn't do that. Corporate wasn't helpful in any way either, they said they would compensate us $20 for the inconvenience, which in my opinion is offensive. JUST AVOID THIS LOCATION ALL TOGETHER, I'll never give Best Western my business again.

Our stay at this hotel has not even started yet and already it's off to a rocky start. Prior to booking, we confirmed that it was okay for us to leave our bags at the desk if we arrived early from our flight. When I got to the counter today to drop off our bags, I was told that it would be a $10/bag charge. Clearly this was not properly relayed to us during my initial call. Having no other means to temporarily store our luggages, we were left with no option, but to leave our bags while we explored the city while we wait for check-in. I wish that this was properly conveyed to us during our booking so we could've sought other alternatives or even a different accommodation. We stayed at the Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront earlier in our trip which was more than double the cost we paid for BW and they had no problem storing our bags for us with no additional charge. So far this place gets a poor rating from us.

This Best Western has been completely renovated in the last few years and is really nice now. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean, quiet and with excellent amenities. As the title says, the real treasure here is the staff! We stayed for a Park-Sleep-Fly, both before and after a trip. Because my husband is having some physically challenges, i was having a hard time wrangling the big bags. The desk attendant came around and helped me out. What kind young woman! That is above and beyond! The breakfast is nice and the attendant there seems to treat it like a breakfast for her family - really clean, nice and varied. Brava! Finally, our transatlantic flight home was delayed by 4 hours, and when we arrived late at night, the shuttle driver, David, went ABOVE AND BEYOND! First he was helping a couple new to the area to find a suburban cab, sheerly from the goodness of his heart. Since my husband was exhausted and weak at this point, he could hardly get in the van let alone out without assistance. David literally lifted him out of the van at the hotel. Would not accept an extra tip. What a jewel! You know, you can take an older hotel and renovate it, and it is lovely - like this BW - but some aspects will never be changeable (older bathroom fixtures, narrow hallways, etc). So it may still feel a bit aged. Some things matter more, though. Staff that actually cares? You cannot buy that!

Free parking and complimentary breakfast was good. Location is good but the drive to airport is 10-15 minutes. Overall decent stay.

This was a great value!:)- Close to Chicago, clean, comfortable bed, free parking, and a yummy breakfast.:) The decor in the room was appealing, and looked like many other hotel rooms. The parking lot looked a little iffy, but was fully functional, and more importantly free.:). We enjoyed our stay very much here.:)

My stay was almost excellent. Very clean, comfortable, all the amenities I could have asked for in terms of service and the actual room. Good hot breakfast, and excellent shuttle service - I was even dropped at a convention centre a few miles from the airport! A computer and printer in the lobby meant that I could check in and print my border pass in timely manner. The only thing I missed was a little café and a perhaps bar, where, at the end of a long day, I could relax with either a coffee or a lovely glass of wine. Either that, or put a selection of drinks in the room fridges. At the end of a long day at the conference centre, it was annoying to have to go out and look around for a nice restaurant, when relaxing in the café or my room would have been preferred. Otherwise, a good place to stay.

We stayed here for one night prior to a flight out of O Hare. The hotel was recently renovated and had very nice furnishings. My only complaint is it is next to a busy interstate so request to have a room on the opposite side. The breakfast was very nice with waffles and eggs. seems these types of breakfasts are always loaded with carbs- nice to have a protein option. We didn't use the shuttle but a family traveling with us did. On the way home their son forgot his backpack with an IPad in it on the shuttle. After realizing it- they called the hotel and the shuttle driver went out of his way to meet them to deliver it. Says a lot about this hotel and the importance of customer service.

The shuttle service by David made my staying experience way easier and more inviting. He helped me schedule my morning shuttle to my flight and got me there with plenty of time to get through security. Also April helped set up my room and found me a late dinner in this whole flight cancel fiasco. Two of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met at a hotel when I stay at hundreds a year traveling for hockey. Would highly recommend and come back again.

Previously used when a Quality Inn and thought it was a good deal. The parking lot has been re paved, the lobby, halls, and rooms have been remodeled. Really a comfortable and attractive place. Had a room with new fixtures, good mattress, and shower and very clean. We have had excellent experiences with the hotel staff. They are helpful and friendly on the phone and in person. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked and kept up through a busy morning. We previously used a couple different park and fly hotels. This one has the best shuttle we've experienced. They will shuttle around the clock. You schedule your shuttle to the airport when you check in and they have always left on time. Upon returning, you pick up your luggage and then call from the airport shuttle center. Sometimes, it seems like a long wait, but they have always picked us up within 30 to 45 minutes. Price has increased over the past couple of years, but the place has really improved. We still think it is the best park and fly facility we have used and we'll be there again.

The staff was excellent - professional and friendly. However, the website has FASLE information on it about the shuttle service to O'Hare. This motel is 8.4 miles from the airport, not 4 miles as stated. The shuttle ride is at least a half hour between the two so it shows up at either site every hour, not every 12-20 minutes as stated. I waited a frustrating 50 min. for shuttle, watching other hotels shuttles come and go. This is a humble, clean, though overpriced place but do NOT use it for Park, Sleep, Fly.

Rooms are standard size. Recently remodeled. New furniture is too bulky to allow regular wheelchairs to get around room. Grab bars are too low to be used in shower. Just barely above top of tub. Double bed rooms had even less room for physical mobility.

The room and accomodations were good and breakfast was fine. However, communication was poor. I was told proir to booking the room that we would be able to keep our bags at the hotel after checking out in order to spend the day in Chicago. However, they failed to tell us they would charge $10 per bag for a few hours. Also, due to time constraints, I asked if they would be able to bring our bags on the airport shuttle to the airport when we returned from downtown on the subway, and was told that we could. However, the morning we were leaving the hotel we were told they could not do that, which meant we had to take the shuttle from the hotel to the airport, then when we returned to the airport on the subway later that day, had to go back to the airport, just to grab our bags, sit 1/2 hr because the driver couldn't leave yet, and then go back to the airport. Luckily we allowed enough time, but otherwise may have been late for our flight.

For the price, it's okay. I picked it because they had a free airport shuttle and the price was reasonable. Just needed some place to sleep as I had an early flight at Ohare the next morning. They offer free breakfast in the morning but I think I only had juice, coffee and a muffin.

The breakfast was not good, the bagels were not fresh. The isolation room was poor, I heard a couple having sex by one hour next to my room like an IMAX Movie Theater. And finally, they assigned me a room with a guest inside as a gift, fortunately the guest was sleeping and he didn't notice when I opened the door. I don't recommend this hotel.

Stayed here on two occasions while transiting through O'hare airport. It is surprising very good value for its pricing (I got the room for $70). It's not the newest hotel but it is well maintained. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, efficient staff, very good breakfast selection, functional gym, close proximity to the airport plus an airport shuttle. I didn't have any negative experience and I'll definitely comeback if I have anything to do around the O'hare area. (P.S. One of the elevators is due for a check. It was rather loud and squeaky)

I have been staying at this hotel for nearly 2 years, and I just want to give a shout out to all the employees that work there. Having to be away from home all the time can be a little lonesome sometimes, but it is a comfort to know that I am going to a hotel where I know everyone truly cares how I am. I love to be greeted by Par, the shuttle driver, who always greets me with a smile and is most helpful and courteous. Other notables are Sam, Carolina, Brian, Johnny, Pak, Bob, Maria, and Maricella. The maintance crew and housekeeping are wonderful, as well. I highly recommend staying here if you ever find yourself in O'hare.

From the time I arrived, to my departure - every employee I encountered had a smile on their face and always greeted me. From the shuttle driver, to housekeeping - the whole staff was beyond friendly. The hotel looks newly renovated and is in good condition. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast was good. The fitness center was one of the largest I've seen for a hotel. I will definitely be back to this hotel!

Rooms are new. Staff is very helpful and great Location kind of far from the airport. But, shuttle driver is courtesy. The rooms are gorgeous. Everything is wonderful. Give yourself some time to get to the airport. Please make sure you catch the "Elk Grove" location. Also the van service is joint with Super 8 hotels, both are in "Elk Grove".

I had stayed the weekend of the 4th of July When we first had arrived they gave us a room that had not been cleaned. We went right down to the lobby to have our rooms changed and they greatly agreed to give us a new room. Every day the maids would not clean our room and I had to repeatedly ask for fresh towels each day. Not to mention the maids would sweep past to clean different rooms twice.

The business center was no more than 2 computers and a printer. The printer was jammed. The attitude of the desk clerk was maintenance was supposed to fix it yesterday and they'll get to it eventually. There was little concern for the fact that I could not print my documents for my meeting.

Terrible service, terrible equipment, terrible experience. Stay away all. We checked in late, about 11pm. Upon checking in we were issued our room. When we opened the door to our room we found guests already in the room. Also, the hotel markets itself as an airport hotel. Their printer did not work and we could not print our boarding passes. How can you be an airport hotel and not have the capacity to print boarding passes? Terrible hotel.

The van service is set up for both Super 8 and Best Western. The Best Western insignia is hard to see on the van so watch for a Super 8 van instead with Elk Grove village. I wasn't the only one complaining. Waited over an hour because of a van that is not marked very well. The hotel and staff is newly remodeled and very nice and clean.

I called a couple of months ahead to reserve a room. The person who answered, made my reservation and then proceeded to tell me that they were closing and changing to a Best Western. Not a big deal, but there is some reason for the change over. They tried to charge us $30 too much, the entire 4th was extremely noisy all night and the breakfast was standing room only

First time stayed in Best Western for four nights and felt unhappy with same breakfast menu for all four days. They had a serious issue with the internet and was not working for three days. Need to improve the standard. I asked for the two queen bed and all they offered me was two double bed. I booked the hotel two months ago and this is the situation.

Great place to stay if you are arriving late or leaving early in the morning. It is about 10 minutes from O'Hare airport. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport that runs 24/7. They also have free breakfast in the morning.

This has now turned into a best western. We found a deal for $67 for one night. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was VERY clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast, very good (waffles, actual scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, among the usual.) We really lucked out with the deal.

We stayed here the night before our trip to Thailand. Very helpful front desk staff, nice rooms and great breakfast. The shuttle to the airport was great. Our driver was so nice. Parking here was a great idea. Pick up took a bit longer on return flight, but that wouldn't stop me from giving an excellent review. We had just traveled for 22 hrs, another 30 minutes was no big deal. Highly recommend this as a park and fly

Likely my worst hotel stay ever. Booked through booking.com. Arrived at the hotel only to be told they couldn't find my reservation. The front desk clerk said they did have a king room at $69 plus tax. Great. Then the hunt for parking. Management pockets Aton of money on park and fly. Was told to park at the hotel down the street and walk. Seriously? People had double, triple parked. In front of the dumpster along the road in. I asked to park in the dirt lot and was told no. After walking back to the hotel in the dark. I went to my room on the 4th floor. I entered and put down my bag, turned on the light. Went to use the bathroom and returned to find 15-20 flying insects likely termites flying around. They were coming from a hole in the wall as I photographed. I collected my bag and returned to the front desk. The man apologized, and said they had no more rooms although I would no stay even if they had. He explained that I would not be charged. I drove down 2 miles to another hotel. The next am I discovered my card was charged again after midnight to the tune of $118+. I drove back to the hotel around 11am Sunday. I asked for the manager and was informed she was not working? On a Sunday am? At this point I noticed that there were only a handful of parking spots open. I was given a business card with her name. I called the next am and left a message. She did return my call and sent an email with the proof of the refund. Offered no apology, no explanation of the over charge. I sent complaints to Best Western Corporate as well. Do your self a favor drive a little farther and save a headache!
