Best Western Plus Dakota Ridge

We had a great one night stay here as we were passing through the area. We appreciated the location, price, good sized rooms, and breakfast options. I noticed a bit of noise from the traffic nearby, but not a big deal. We would definitely stay again!

Very clean hotel and friendly staff, price is incredibly reasonable and there's great places around the hotel for entertainment and food. Close to the airport and mall of America, but far enough away that it's not too busy.

Front desk guaranteed they would have an Uber waiting for us at 3:45 in the morning to take us to the airport.Turns out they hadn't called and Uber at all and by 4:10, we were forced to drive ourselves to the airport to ensure we didn't miss our flight. That was the sole purpose for us getting the hotel room, the airport parking and shuttle. We paid $210 for the room and $240 for airport parking.

My wife and I had a pleasant stay. The staff was quite helpful and the room was spacious and clean and there were plenty of choices for breakfast. There is a mall across just across the street for added convenience.

This hotel is okay and my stay was fine. So, if you want a solid place to stay where the people are very nice, come here. My only problems were that A) the shower water regulator would only be ALL HOT or ALL COLD. Now, this was okay because ALL HOT was...well, decent hot. But that would vacillate when someone else near me would use the water. Again, not bad and it was okay, but kinda sucked. And B) no one ever came to my room to change the sheets, bedding, etc. Strange since I took the "DO Not Disturb" sign off the door when I left well before 10 AM. But this was not awful. So, NO bedbugs, NO strange smells, VERY LOVELY people and staff. Was not my first choice, but would stay here again without reserve if I had to.

I have used this hotel on several occasions and have never had a complaint to date. There is a super- sized suite when traveling with family which is a bonus. Hotel is always clean, and they have a few snack options in their little convenience area. reasonable driving distance to MOA the airport St Paul and great food options within a few blocks around the hotel. Price is always reasonable for your stay.

The rooms at this Best Western Plus establishment were good sized and very clean. It is located in a quiet area of Eagan. Breakfast could use more selection but is good enough for quick charge before you start your day.

We Loved everything about this hotel. Breakfast was Delicious. The rooms were spacious, and clean. The hotel is close to everything. Front Desk Lacey was Awesome. Will stay here again and again. Planning a trip now to go back.

Average hotel, nothing fancy just the basics. Would stay again. Used the park stay and fly features. Room was a bit stuffy smelling but the beds were adequate. Close to airport with shuttle/uber took less than 15 minutes.

We booked here last minute. The staff was knowledgeable. The room was clean, the shower had a good spray, the bed was very clean. Coffee is available in the lobby at all times. They let me in early to grab some breakfast yogurt and fruit, as we had a very early plane. Very nice hotel!

This hotel was appealing, nicely decorated, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and the rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was well stocked and met our needs.

We stayed only one night because we had to be at the airport at 3:00 am the next morning. We used the services to keep our car at the hotel while we traveled. This hotel far exceeded our expectations and we would 100% go back again. They called us an Uber both to and from the airport and our travel was smooth and timely. The front desk staff was kind and extremely helpful. This is an A++ place to stay if you are traveling. Especially the park, sleep, fly services.

This is the worst hotel that I've ever stayed at. There is no hot water in the building. The workers told me to write a bad review so that management will get the message and fix it. It sounds like they are tired of hearing about it, and I don't blame them. I don't know how staff can properly clean with ice cold water.

This hotel was friendly and clean. The hotel is pet friendly which is a must for us. It is in a great location being near many of the places we need to be near as we travel. There is good, well lit parking. We will be back to stay here.

A group of friends and I got together for a music jam. We played in the conference room. The hotel staff was helpful and respectful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. It was a good time. The only thing I would add is that the breakfasts are cold. There are no eggs or bacon or sausage. There was a good selection of cold food and the coffee was good.

The positives: - the location is convenient to the airport, restaurants, other shopping - staff was always courteous and helpful. The negatives: - Breakfast was a loser. Nothing healthy, almost everything with white flour, most items contain sugar. Nothing that's actually fresh, not even fresh fruit. And nothing hot except make-your-own-pancakes, so it's inaccurate to call it a "full breakfast." Ugh. - Room was dirty! Carpet stained, very dusty in all corners. - Toilet had an easily-removable mildew ring when we arrived. They are short-staffed, common problem these days, so they don't clean rooms daily, and you must request it a day ahead. That's fine, understandable problem. But we asked for cleaning on the third day, and afterward, the mildew was still there. Housekeeping staff not paying enough attention.

There was an odder in our first room and the wifi is weeak and breakfast is limited . they have laundry which is nice . this is still one of the better places in Eagan to stay. this was the first time i had any thing bad to say about the property . honestly its an okay place and 100 times better then the Como Park Best Western which if I was Best Western I would not have Como Park be allowed to use the name that place is disgusting unless you like mice and bugs

We stayed one night in a suite. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fine. The hot selection was breakfast sandwiches: egg, cheese, meat on a croissant, not bad. Good stay

Sounds like a good deal on first look...but doesn't really deliver. There is no shuttle from the airport (some listings promise it), the breakfast is low quality (like cheaper hotels), there is mold in the tub and mini-refrigerator, and they don't offer daily housekeeping. For what was actually delivered, the price is too high.

The staff was very kind, the rooms were clean. I'm giving them a 3 because the bed frame had a metal bar sticking out just behind the sheets and it cut my mother's leg open and caused bruising and swelling.

The morning after my stay I discovered ants crawling all over the top of the bed, under the little decorator cover. Thank God I didn't discover them the night before or I would not have stayed, ants are GROSS! There were dead ants on the heater/air-conditioner device. The bathroom was dirty, there was a scum ring in the toilet, like it hadn't been cleaned ever. When I informed the staff the next morning she could have cared less.

We stayed here one night after flying into MSP before continuing on our trip. It was an easy 10 -15 minute drive from the airport. Late check in at 11 pm was not a problem (I had called to let them know we would be arriving late in the evening). A few restaurants close by but not really in walking distance. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Decent sized bathroom, a larger than usual mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Everyone we encountered was very nice. Continental type breakfast was adequate. The only hot option was a make your own pancake or waffle but we didn't use it so can't really say how that was. Milk, juice, yogurt, breads, cereal, some fresh fruit, coffee and tea. The lobby is very nice with an indoor rock feature waterfall. Floor to ceiling windows looking out on the trees so very peaceful. The hotel is set back a bit from the main road so no traffic noise and felt very safe. We went to the Mall of America when we checked out of the hotel and it less than 15 minutes away with another easy drive. Overall a pleasant stay in a great location for a very reasonable price.

Hotel is right off 35E and close to shopping and restaurants. Room service upon request. Room and bathroom were dark but room was good size and the traffic on the road behind the hotel was barely noticeable. Another guest came up to me and said "this is a crappy breakfast." I could not argue with her. Only hot food were pancakes you made yourself and it would run out of batter or get stuck. We ate breakfast out so do not count on cereal, toast or bagels to hold you for breakfast. There are so many hotels in the area there have got to be better choices.

This is a nice hotel that is close to everything. The room was clean and large. Everything in the room worked well, the beds were comfortable. The workout room was well equipped. Pleanty of shopping and dining nearby.

This hotel is barely hanging on in the pandemic. Deferred maintenance is everywhere, the staff is young and inexperienced, and the guest services have been reduced to almost nothing. The signature hot breakfast is gone, the airport shuttle is gone, room cleaning and fresh towels are gone. If you want something, you have to ask for it or get it yourself. This is NOT what made Best Western successful!

Leaving MSP on an early morning flight, this hotel was the closest reasonably priced hotel we could find that we knew we could count on for quality standards. We knew they were adhering to Covid guidelines, plus we had a $20 gift card from our previous stay (be sure to check for special value deals and sign up ahead of time). We were leaving before breakfast service began the next morning. The night clerk was most accommodating. He provided all that we needed that evening, so we could get out on time to our flight. (We knew that nothing was being served on the plane except beverages; so, this was a major benefit to us. We'd definitely return again!

Do yourself a favor and find someplace else to stay, there are plenty of nice hotels in the same price range! Only nice thing about our stay was the staff and the area of Eagan was nice and had lots of shopping/food options.

We stayed here for one night on a business trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The lobby needs some work, and I would not plan on meeting work coleagues or business partners here.

This BW was within a 6 minute drive from the airport but not too close to be affected by airport noise. It was in a safe area close to grocery stores and gas stations. The front desk receptionists were very friendly in welcoming us and very helpful for both check-in and check-out. There were plenty of bell carts. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable. One of the most comfortable I've stayed in. Best pillows!!! We had both a microwave and fridge. This hotel was a great choice for my family's overnight stay after a very long 11-hour road trip from Cincinnati. My compliments to the management and staff.

Our flight had just been cancelled and did not want to spend a night in an airport chair. I spoke to Kiley at the Best Western Dakota Ridge and she took care of everything. This hotel is very clean and located on our way to the airport. Side note El Lolos Mexican restaurant was great too. Bed so comfy and plenty of towels.

Clean and Inviting Hotel. Rooms have Refrigerator and Microwave. Excellent Staff and Customer Service. Friendly, Efficient and Helpful. Close to many Restaurants, Shopping Centers, Gas Stations,Stores, Coffee shops and all Conveniences. Plenty of places to walk nearby. Easy access to Highway I35. 15 minute drive to Twin Cities. Close to Airport. No Pool. Pets welcome.

We stayed here to catch an early flight out of MSP. Super close and easy to get to the airport in about 10 minutes! The suite was SO nice to stay in as a family! We ordered dinner from Dolr Dash from Granite City and it was quick and delicious!! They brought dinner right up to our room!

Breakfast was awful. Breakfast bars and yogurt, blaming it on Covid, I don't believe it. I have been to other hotels during Covid and this was the worst. Also, for very few guests they put everyone in the same area. Not very pleasant desk help. Plus no coffee at breakfast- sad.

On a business trip and had stayed there before, still nice and clean the 2nd time around, staff was still great, room was nice and quiet and clean! As this is why we booked it again, stayed on the 3rd floor, no problems or issues, and may be back in the area in a month or so, as will book it again!

We arrived on a Thursday, on Friday night when I returned to the room, I noticed the room was not cleaned, beds not made, garbage not taken out, no fresh towels, etc... I went to the front desk and inquired as to why. The girl at the desk said we needed to ask for that service and hang out the Make Up Room Sign. I asked for more coffee and fresh towels and asked her to please have the room freshened up tomorrow and also mentioned that I would hang up the sign. She handed me towels and stated she would bring us more coffee. She did not bring coffee. Saturday morning and Good thing I brought my own coffee. When I came back Saturday night, I walked into the same thing I did Friday night. So by now I had multiple towels on the floor and nothing was cleaned and still no coffee. I walked to the front desk and inquired as to why since I had requested and hung the sign up the room still was not freshened up and we still had no coffee. The same girl again stated the same thing she told me Friday night. She was not rude, but apparently did not care or give any cause or attention to any of my seemingly "not so hard" requests. She acted as if we never even had this same conversation the night before. I was really surprised at her lack of candor and concern for what was a pretty routine request when staying at a hotel.

The first time I stayed here i would have given at least 4 stars. The second time, it was like I was staying at a completely different property. I requested the second floor , but they claimed it was shut down for repairs and that floor was the one I stayed at before. So I wound up being shown a first floor room , it reaked of cigarette smoke. When I informed them of this, it was just oh, people smoke and there isn't much we can do about that. So off I was sent to the 3rd floor 309. It was worn in all ways, carpet sticky, furniture from the early 90s. I checked the air conditioner, and there was black mold throughtout. So i requested to look at another room. It was the one next door. This room also had black mold in the air conditioner. I passed on this room . Finally hit the 3rd room, and it did not have as Much black mold in air conditioner so I took it. The room upon close inspection, was run down. Carpet worn, bed saggy, outdated furniture. The toilet ran off and on all nite. The faucet in the bathtub appeared to be on but on closer inspection it was just a constant drip that looked like it was actually running. The worst part was the cigarette smell mixed with cleaning solvents that was not going away even with the window open. I finally called Hotels.com at 2 am and told them I was not staying here 2 more nites. They actually got on the phone and called the front desk at 2 am and got me out of this place early the next morning. Make sure you inspect any room they give you because some are way better than others.

We were told that a bag breakfast would be served and there was no breakfast service. Our toilet had a disgusting ring around it, and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. When we attempted to say that we had received incorrect information, the desk personnel offered no solution, apology, and tried to make it seem as though it was our fault that we had incorrect information.

Business travel motel expectations met within budget and timely confirmation of the room at Best Western. I'm not likely to stay anywhere else with current motel options, hard to beat the friendly and quick service.

We have stayed here quite often, and are always pleased. Very clean, staff is very friendly willing to help. Being Best Western members, we had the option to receive 500 additional points if we did not receive housekeeping during our two night stay, no problem for us. Always a hot breakfast, shuttle service if you need it to Mall of America or the airport.

Absolutely awful experience, we stayed as part of a wedding party. A groomsman became locked out of his room at 4AM dude to a malfunctioning electronic key reader on his door. The front desk told him it would need to be reprogrammed in the morning. The front desk then refused to give the groomsmen a new room to sleep in. She insisted she could not give him a room unless he paid for it, but his phone, wallet, keys were all locked in the original room. She told us we could take him in and he could sleep on the floor in our room. Or he could sit in the lobby. My fiancé and I felt extremely uncomfortable about having him sleep in the floor next to our bed. So we ended up having to buy him a new room at 5AM!!! I don't understand how their equipment could malfunction and then refuse to give the man a new place to sleep. There was only 1 woman working in the entire hotel. All customer service phone numbers were closed because, again it was 5AM. There was literally no one to help us. And as I'm writing this I still have yet to hear from any manager to get our money back.

I've found this hotel to offer the best Park/Sleep/Fly service near MSP. It is not the closest hotel and it does not have a pool. But, if you are in search of a clean, comfortable stay before/after a MSP departure, this hotel is worth considering. They actually have a light breakfast available starting at 3am. Who else does that? Their shuttle service is available on the 1/2 hour and consistently dependable. The trip to MSP was less than 15 minutes.

We stayed here with the park and ride program. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The delivery TO the airport went great. The pickup, not so much! It took 3 phone calls and 90 minutes to get picked up and returned to our vehicle. Not a pleasant end to our trip.

Rooms were comfortable. The shuttle took us to dining and shopping, and to the airport. the next morning We used the park and fly offered by the hotel. Shuttle was on time and the driver was very courteous

We stayed at this hotel the night before our trip to Florida. The beds were very comfortable. The food at breakfast was very good. The shuttle drivers to and from the airport were the best !! We will for sure be staying here again.

This is a good option if you are flying out of the Twin Cities and use their park and fly. The staff are patient and friendly, the rooms quiet, the property clean and the breakfast is quite good. Overall very good!

This was an excellent place to stay. Great location, great breakfast options, nicely kept up hotel and rooms. Staff very pleasesant also. I will definetly stay here again. For being close to the airport I rarely heard anything. I slept very well.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay. Took shuttle to the airport. Our driver was very nice, helpful, and conversational. The only reason I did not give a five star rating is because the king bed we had in our room had a definite sag in the middle and was a bit uncomfortable. I can't comment on the hot breakfast as we had an early flight. We were able to enjoy a few cold items and coffee from the breakfast area, though.

Room was very large. Very clean. Close to alot of shopping and the freeway. Breakfast had a good variety. Something for everyone. Staff was courteous. Would stay again. The pet area was in a good area.

This has become my "go to" hotel for early departures from MSP. The staff has been consistently helpful and friendly. Check in/out is very efficient. Rooms are nice, clean. Rates are normally quite good and there is a park and fly option. Shuttle service available at all hours. Quick trip to the airport. One of the few hotels I have stayed at that actually has coffee and juice available for very early departures. Close to several restaurants. **My last stay, they had problems with the wake up call service. Best not to rely solely on that.

Great Lobby area. Quiet hotel. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. An overall super hotel in a nice area with lots of food and shopping options. Excellent staff with quick and easy check in and check out!

This is a pet friendly hotel with a fantastic hot breakfast buffet, shuttle service every half hour to the airport, a very friendly staff and beautiful rooms. Rates are reasonable too, and they are located just one block from a shopping center with many restaurants.

Set up a wake up call at 2:30am to be at airport at 4:00am did not recive wake up call was running late. Other than that was very clean and well kept hotel wood like to stay longer next time to enjoy my stay

I had a issue with room, the room was extremely HOT (80+) couldn't cool down at all. I asked for another room, front desk was very helpful they gave me another room and made sure I was ok and they did a GREAT job.. thank you I will be staying at a Best Western again.. Thank you !

As a frequent traveler to the Eagan area, I have found this property to be the best value in its price range. It has nice rooms, a convenient location, attractive lobby, good breakfast buffet, and a friendly staff.

We usually drive to the Cities and park at EZ park if we're catching a flight. It was so convienent to use their shuttle service and just leave our car there. Would do it again for early morning flights.

this was wonderful. very clean and convenient. restaurants were close by. getting off interstate was very easy. The check in and out was very easy. We would stay there the next time we need to be at the airport early

Usually my stay with BW is a fine experience. This time I had an issue with the cleanliness of the bathroom. Not bad enough to never return but it wasnt my normal BW experience. Also, my bed was hard.

My husband and I were hosting a small family reunion and utilized this hotel for one of the nights. The staff was extremely accommodating in keeping our rooms together, as well as finding us a place to eat and play games! Definitely recommend!

Room had what appeared to be water damage in the ceiling, but very clean other wise. The staff was very friendly and helpful when asking questions about the area and where to eat. Will stay here again and do park and fly.

Excellent place to relax before flying home after a 5 day canoe trip.The room was very comfortable and breakfast choices were varied and abundant. Staff was very helpful. TV acted up briefly but may have been due to storm. Mentioned problem to staff on leaving and said maintenance would look at it.

I really enjoyed my night and the rest was peaceful. The hotel is positioned near places to get something eat with a nice selection of places to eat. The hotel is located in a nice area, breakfast was good. The eggs were very good and fully cooked, the bacon was great, Cooked just right. Not hard and crunchy. I would return.

Great place to sleep, park and fly. Easy access from interstate 35 and shuttle service to airport great. Hotel room clean, comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Definitely plan to use them later this month for a sleep, park and fly.

We picked this hotel because the Twin Cities is about a half way point between where we live in Iowa and our final destination-Duluth. Check in was easy and the girl working was very pleasant. Bed was ok-I have a hard time with hotel beds because of my back. But, we had a king room which provided plenty of room and amenities. Hot breakfast in morning had lots of options as well. Very close to MoA-10 minute drive. Eagan outlets is also about a 10 minute drive. Lots of shopping and grocery store close by. All in all I would stay here again.

Rooms were small but very clean. Good value and centrally located for what we wanted to do in the city. Only down side was the front desk staff continued to carry on a conversation with each other while we were waiting to check on. Also seemed annoyed when we asked for ear plugs. Would still stay again.

For the price, this room was very good! Everything went smoothly on this trip. We had a room with a hot tub. The only thing I can think of that was wrong was that the microwave and refrigerator were unplugged. When we plugged them both in, the refrigerator was fine but the microwave kept beeping. We unplugged it. I assume that is why it was unplugged. It didn't bother us though, we still had an excellent stay!

Stayed here after arriving in Minneapolis as we were heading to iowa. Great location. very nice room. Spacious and clean. Front desk staff friendly. Would definitely stay again if i flew into minneapolis.

Stayed for one night to drop family off at airport. Hotel and room was very clean, well stocked. Large breakfast selection which starts very early for any traveler.. Friendly helpful staff. Will stay here again, etc....

While I was out at dinner a very important bag was taken out of my room. When I returned and first noticed it was late. I thought I must have packed it in one of my cases and would find it when I arrived at my destination. When I arrived at my business destination the next day and looked through my suitcases for it it was no where to be found. I called and was told no.one turned anything in. I am not a constant traveler, but I think that at the very least the staff should be alerted and security cameras checked for that night to see if the person who entered without permission is held accountable.

Have used Dakota Ridge for Park and Fly for the last 3 years - always a great experience - Thanks to the Staff it's the best place to stay. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, feel very safe leaving my car there and they make return pickup easy,... even in a snow storm ;-)

No complaints about staying here. Everyone was friendly, hotel was clean, breakfast was enjoyable. Easy to get to from highway, plenty of restaurants and gas stations in the area, super convenient for a traveller.

Our flight got canceled so we found ourselves needing to spend two unexpected nights in Minneapolis. The hotel was nice, the staff friendly, the rooms cleaned, the breakfast decent. The plus was that it offered complimentary shuttle to/from airport and MOA and the outlets. We relied on this transportation as we had no car during our stay. Our driver was very friendly. ( I think his name was Dave). The only downside is that on the nights we were there, it was pretty pricey. Now I'm looking on the website, and it appears that perhaps at other times it is more affordable. We were there on week nights and it didn't seem to be close to full capacity. All in all, if ever in area again, we'd check in on this one out again just bc we did receive such nice service. There is no pool.

The staff is very helpful. Very quiet rooms.You can bring your dogs. There is shopping close to the hotel. Also, it is a5-10 minute drive too downtown St. Paul.The Science Museum, the Capital and the X-cel energy center is.

The staff was very accommodating when booking, and the hotel was clean and attractive. The location was centrally located, and the grocery store (Hy-Vee) across the street was super convenient. The breakfast had a good variety and the rooms were quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Was going on vacation for a week and had an early flight... instead of parking at the airport I checked into staying here and using the stay+parking rate. It was not much more so we booked it. The hotel is in a great location, airport shuttle, free continental breakfast in the morning. There are a few restaurants within walking distance too.

Check-in was quick and easy. Customer service was good. Night staff was nonchalant. Maybe she was tired. Breakfast was good except for pancakes and staff hovering over me while i prepared my breakfast. Not sure what that was about. Would stay again.

Most people don't think Best Western when they think high quality places to stay. This would prove you wrong. Great place, located near shopping and dining, right off the highway and a short shuttle to the airport. Room was nice and quiet and clean. Provide long term parking option for when you are leaving town. We'd stay again.

It was close to about everything! The longest drive we took was 11 minutes, everything else was all under that. My only concern was when I asked about a military discount the front desk girl didn't even bother looking. She simply said “the rate you're getting now is actually better.” That didn't make sense to me. Why have a military/government discount if the rate I got was better than that......? Other than the stay was fine. The tv went out for a whole day but we're were off doing stuff anyway.

Checked in, lady at the front desk was nice, confirmed our shuttle would be ready in the morning and let us know pastries and cold breakfast would be available before our 4:00 am departure. The next morning we were disappointed to find minimal selection of cold items, none of which included pastries. Worse yet, we were informed by another guest in the lobby that the shuttle driver didn't show up for work, this was especially frustrating as the lady at the front desk hadn't notified us. After going to the counter to discuss plan B, she did call a cab for us, however offered no apology on behalf of the hotel. Had we we not chatted with the other guest, we may have missed our flight. This is the second time in a row where we have had issues with their shuttle service and will not use again. Would not recommend.

Love this place. The room was so big and comfy. Clean. Beds had clean, white, comforters on them. The pull out couch was great also. There was plenty of sitting in the room. The bathroom was big and the shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was very good. You can make your own pancakes too. Staff was very friendly. The only bad side was no pool. The room is a little pricey. For 2 adults and 1 child we paid right over $200. per night.

Nice areas, good choice. Glad I stayed here, it was clean and had everything I wanted for the area. Plus a shuttle to airport, mall and surrounding areas. Beautiful lobby friendly staff. Nice breakfast as always. Great location and well priced

Dakota Ridge is a tremendous motel. Excellent in every way, but without all of the unnecessary luxuries that drive up the cost. Hence, one of the very best values in lodging. Not cheap in the least. Just quality and excellence in every measure. Very positive and enjoyable stay, 4 times. Love the cleanliness and function of the rooms -- everything is clean, orderly, present and everything works! Love the fitness center -- 2 bikes, 2 different treadmills, 1 stairstepper, 2 exercise mats (clean, in good cndition), and 1 fully-versatile weight machine. Best amenity might be the lobby. Spacious, pleasing waterfall, floor-to-ceiling windows, plenty of varied seating, and adjacent to breakfast area for more quiet, semi-personal overflow eating space. Also appreciate the abundance of wood accents in furniture and decor when so many motels are remodeling to ultra-mod, stainless steel, tech-sterile decor.

We made reservations several months in advance for two rooms. We are Platinum status members and, yet, the rooms we were given were on the highway side of the facility. Platinum members who make early advance reservations should ALWAYS have the better rooms reserved for them for the night(s) of their stay. None of the Best Westerns we have stayed at ever have done that. Nor have they given us a choice of rooms. Traffic was so loud, we couldn't even hear ourselves think. So, back down to the lobby I went and now Dana was on duty. I told her my complaint and she changed our rooms to the other side of the hotel. Later, after I had returned the first set of key cards, I had to get into the original room to retrieve something we had forgotten when we moved. Once again Dana came through, providing access to the room to retrieve our property. The shower head would not stay up and the water never got hot enough. Because it was a room for handicapped (I use a cane, but do not normally ask for such a room), it had a higher toilet with a bar to help one sit and stand, which came in handy, but there was no toilet seat cover, something we considered to be very unsanitary. The seat was designed that way, not broken. A water ring in the toilet bowl when flushed indicated it had not been cleaned well for a long time. When we returned to the room for our second night, the bed was poorly made and the runner that goes on the foot of the bed had been tossed into a corner. (See photos) Breakfast was okay

Our hotel of choice when we travel to St. Paul. Always a nice and comfortable stay. Staff are very pleasant. Very easy access to the highways and restaurants as well as Mall of America Rooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

This is a great motel when staying in So Metro. Great l for the price. Close to airport, Interstates, and Mall of America. Wonderful decor, tasty breakfast, efficient staff, and comfortable rooms. Needs pool and jacuzzi, and closer restaurants.

Room was clean and comfortable. Shuttle service was excellent and was very prompt. Used the Stay, park and fly. It was competitively priced and catching a 6:30 am flight was a lot easy than in long term parking.

There was a lot of street noise, the bed was squeaky and the shower head was broken everything else was good.the check in was just fine and check out was easy Very pretty place... next time I am going to ask to be put on the other side of building.

We initially stayed 2 nights then went elsewhere sightseeing and then back for approx 10+ nights. A week before arrival I called the hotel to advise that we would be arriving after midnight and to confirm our room was guaranteed. Upon arrival we were scolded by the check in lady about being “no show”. This is not the welcome we anticipated after flying for 32 hours plus. Our room was on the 3rd floor, just your average hotel room. Housekeeping was hit and miss. One day it was never cleaned and a few other days our bed was not made (no biggie). The breakfast is ok. Too much highly sugared or salted items for my liking. My biggest concern was that plates, cups, cutlery etc was plastic. Please consider changing this. Our planet is dying from plastic. A thank you to Sandy (breakfast attendant) and the shuttle driver (James?) for being so helpful and attentive. Sadly, I found your reception staff to be rather disinterested. Every day I walked past them with a greeting, but no response or return conversation.

We stayed at this Best Western Dakota Ridge for a park and fly. Melissa at the front desk could not have been nicer. She greeted us and made us feel very welcome. She recommended Wildcats Bar and Grill when we asked if there was someplace close to have a drink. The room and was clean and the bed was comfortable. We will would stay here again.

We've stayed here several years in a row, using the park, sleep and fly. Sleep there the night before, parking our car there for the duration of your vacation, spending the night before our flight there and having them shuttle us to the airport. Room was clean and nice. Pretty quiet on the 3rd floor. Ok check in-not overly friendly-but not rude. Breakfast is horrible. We only had the 'cold' options (cereal, some bagels, and pastries) to chose from because it was before normal breakfast hours. Our flight left at 8, so we were there around 5:30. I am thankful we did have something to eat though....but the milk was sour! I took a a drink and almost threw up. It was not chunky and did not smell bad, but it tasted horrible. I did tell them, and they seemed concerned, and I only hope they changed it out. My stomach did not feel well after that for awhile. Our driver drove sort of crazy, like he was annoyed and in a hurry and was counting his money as we boarded the van-as if hinting he expected a tip. I did not appreciate that, and found it very rude. We did arrive at the airport when we desired. Different driver at pick up-friendlier and drove much better. IF we return next year, it will only be because of the very reliable shuttle service. This used to be a good chain, but has fallen short of my expectations.

We stayed here one night prior to flying out in March on Spring Break. Check in was ok but the people seemed stressed out by the Spring Break load. The room is in BAD need of updating and was dark and dingy with hardly any light in the bathroom. I will admit I'm not a fan of dark décor and it just seemed old and dated. It was, however, clean and fine for one night. Hot breakfast started at 7 am so we had to rush to get some, but it was decent. Although we had to park our car a LONG way away from the hotel in another hotel's lot it was fine when we returned. The shuttle service was excellent, on time, and the reason I give this hotel 4 stars. We had much better service than any other shuttle we have used both ways with prompt pickup and friendly service. With a little remodeling this place will be a great stay!

but, I didn't check for a pool as we were scrambling to find a hotel during a extremely busy weekend in the Twin Cities area. Also didn't care for the treadmill in the room. Other than that nice stay!

We stayed here here the night before we flew out! It was nice, clean and comfortable. Easy access to the airport! They do offer 50.00 1 week parking rate and 24 hour shuttle to the airport! Which is nice!

We stayed here for a stay and fly deal. The hotel has beautiful rooms and a nice morning breakfast. The airport shuttle was fantastic with very courteous drivers. I believe it was a very good deal for the price

We flew in for an overnight stay on our way to Jamaica. The shuttle was not running do to the terrible weather. The hotel paid for our cab ride from the airport. The front desk staff was amazing and very helpful. The shuttle the next morning was perfect. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.to

Decent night sleep, good breakfast and staff was friendly. I did a park and fly which is very convenient for me as a solo traveler. The shuttle driver was great. Got me to the airport in plenty of time and said my car will be dug ouwt when I return. Two snowstorms are coming while I'm gone. I would stay here again.

Was able to get to various location easily from hotel. Clean and spacious room. Good enough breakfast. Water and Fruits ( apples, bananas ) made available late in the day on the ground floor. Had issues with the bathroom sink at night but was handled early morning. Parking not a problem. Good value for the money. Travelled in February during the winter and snow.

This location worked well for anovernight prior to flying home early the next day. We were able to return our rental car and then take the shuttle for our flight. Clean, quiet and spacious. Unfortunately missed the free breakfast due to early shuttle. There is a grocery across the street, and restaurant's within walking distance.

I chose this hotel because it offered an AARP discount and was reasonably priced. They also accept pets but new the law for my therapy dog. The lobby has a nice relaxing waterfall. Only bad part was the jets in my in room hot tub didn't work

Very convenient location to and from airport. Decided to go with this airport because I have stayed here in the past and very nice place. No indoor hot tub which I prefer, but great hot breakfast and shuttle that runs every half hour to airport.

This is a great hotel for mature guest with no kids. There is no pool so there were no loud kiddos running up and down the hall. Clean quiet rooms and a nice breakfast selection. We stayed in a king room with spa tub. Comfortable bed and the jet tub was very relaxing. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great location, easy on and of 494.

We stay at Dakota Ridge each time we vacation so we can use the Park & Fly. Dakota Ridge staff are always prompt in delivering and picking us up from the airport. On our most recent stay, our shuttle driver even brushed all of the snow off of our car upon our return. We love this hotel and the standard of excellence they continually strive for.

I stayed at this property 1 night for park and fly package. The staff at check in and check out was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. Also the shuttle service was friendly and timely as scheduled. However I thought the property itself would have been nicer, the room was worn and dated with very low ceilings. The curtains by the window did not close for privacy and the heater would run constantly kicking on loudly waking me up regardless of how many times I got up and turned down the temperature. One nice touch was they offered a very early select breakfast at 3am for those on early flights, I appreciated that.

Good value, all you could ask for in a hotel. Helpful staff. Location is a bit out of the way for visiting Minneapolis/St. Paul, but free and frequent shuttle provided to MSP airport and other locations, including hi-speed transit stops. Would stay again.

The staff at the Dakota Ridge location were all friendly and fast to serve. We have stayed at this location before and with family in the area will definitely stay there again. The breakfast was had a large amount of selections cold and hot, the facility was clean with up to date amenities. The lobby is a wonderful welcome with their water fall. You walk in the door at immediately you feel stress lessen and you know you are in for a relaxing stay. We were pleased with the price per night as well.

We chose this hotel since we were travelling with a pet. This hotel was very clean. Check in and check out was very fast. The breakfast was excellent. The location was great, as it was close to shopping and a great variety of restaurants. The waterfall in the lobby was very relaxing. It was very convenient to the airport. Would definitely stay at Best Western Plus again.

We love this property - we have stayed here a few times and always find it wonderful. The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast is more than enough with a fine selection of hot and cold items including pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, etc.

Wonderful stay from shuttle van to check out. Staff was friendly, helpful, and made check in and out easy. Hotel was a quick 10 minute drive from the airport. Breakfast has a large variety to choose from.

We booked at the BW+ Dakota Ridge on a "park and fly" excursion. We left, (my wife and I) and returned almost 3 weeks later with 2 adopted sons... A special shout out to Kendra for seeing to it that we had accommodations that would handle our special needs! After 25 hours of non-stop travel and involving multiple time zones, languages and airports, it was fantastic to find the friendly staff we stayed in touch with over the internet. To be certain...we will return if rooming needs are required in the future. Oh...did I mention the accommodations were OUTSTANDING!? :)

We come for every JAM here in MN and love the hotel, it's gorgeous, spacious, tidy and smells good.Every year we spit out our coffee and walk to starbucks........the breakfast leaves much to be desired. The bacon tasted like dried jerky...eeek...the coffee was more like hot water with brown liquid ... that's my only complaint !!! :)

Hotel was awesome, good service, friendly!! Everyone went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable. I forgot my key in the room a couple times, they gave me a new one each time. Thank you for all your kindness!!

Very friendly people. Everything was clean and fine. My only real problem is the bed was hard as a rock. They are great for getting you to the airport and leaving your car in their lot till you get back, then pick you up when you call your back. And it doesn't matter what time of the day it is.

Very nice Best Western close to our kids & grandkids. Clean & very quiet, the 2 most important things to us. We were comfortable & have no complaints. Located near shopping, restaurants & freeways. We will stay here whenever we come to Eagan!

The staff at the Best Western Plus in Eagan, MN are wonderful. The hotel is always looking its best and the rooms are quiet. Breakfast has a wide selection. Coffee and water always available for guests.

Room was adequate-morning shuffle was on time & good. Didn't sa.oke the breakfast, as our flight left early. Waited an hour at the airport on our way home. They failed to tell us the van did not say Best Western on it. My husband left his wrist braces when we left. I called housekeeping & they said they would leave them at the front desk for us on our return. When we stopped at the front desk- they were not there. None of this is OK. Will let AAA know as they recommended this hotel. Will go elsewhere next time.

Lobby was wonderful with a water fall. Laptop's set up with printers so you can print maps or whatever.Check in was easy,check out was easy.Breakfast had hot and cold food .Nice variety. Shuttle to the malls.Close to the Minnesota zoo.

From check in to check out, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Shuttle service to area restaurants, malls and airport. Clean rooms, lobby and breakfast area. Definitely will stay here again!

While researching the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area this hotel stood out. It is located minutes away from dinning, shopping, and exploring. The one thing that sealed the deal for me is they have a 24 hour shuttle. Not only will they pick you up at the airport and take you back but they will take you to the Mall Of American and other close attractions or to the light rail which will take you wherever you could want to go. Kaylea and Kendra a sister team were top notch and set the bar. Unfortunately, when they were off duty the front desk couldn't be bothered to help out. I was told on two occasions that my simple request were not only impossible but things were not done that way. This is why I rated them very good instead of a perfect five (5). When you have people that set the bar and then you get turkeys it is very sad. However, if I am ever in Minneapolis-St. Paul area again I would give this place a second chance.

Great location ( grocery and liquor stores right across the main street as well as some shopping) and it's right off the highway. Checking in was effortless and quick. Wifi has a good strong consistent signal and didn't cut out. We chose the room with the whirlpool in it and it was the perfect ending to long days at Mall of America, Canterbury Racetrack, sight seeing and dining! Room was clean and the overall appearance of the hotel very attractive. The breakfast bar actually had real food in it! Eggs and cheese omlets (I used the omlet and the bacon to make a breakfast sandwich) with varying breakfast meats (the eggs and meats come out at around 7am) a yogurt bar, Pancake station, cereals, breads, pasteries, juices, coffee, fruit, you get the idea. Overall very good experience here, we will definitely be staying at this hotel on our return visit!

We stayed here for a few days and loved it. Check in was fast and easy. The room was clean and roomy. My husband and I used the fitness room and we both liked it. The shuttles were great and offered to take us to Mall of America, the airport, and any place within a mile radius. The shuttle drivers were nice and helpful. We had fun shopping at shopping center across the street. The front desk also had coupons for local restaurants which we used.

Stayed overnight to catch a flight the next day. Staff was very helpful with recommendations. Room was clean and comfortable. They did offer a shuttle service, but I did not use it during this time. Lots of restaurants very close by.

If there was a pool, would have been 5 stars. Airport Transfer available as well as free transport to Mall. Good business facilities and they sure know how to take care of Gold Members. Breakfast excellent, plenty of variety. Would definitely use again.

Was attending a weekend get-together with gatherings in Bloomington and St. Paul. The location was ideal since it was close to the freeway into the twin cities, airport and mall of america. Great service and comfortable room. Good selection of breakfast items. Was offered a snack and bonus points as a rewards member....nice perk.

This is our second extended visit in just over a year and we would definitely stay here again. Clean, comfortable room, and a good selection of breakfast items. We especially enjoyed the Turkey sausage and Turkey bacon breakfast options!

I've stayed at this property multiple time for work as well as pleasure. The property is within a couple of miles of both the airport and Mall of America, the property provides shuttle service to and from both. The staff has always been professional and caring, willing to help with any request. The rooms are clean and comfortable, nicely appointed and quiet. Their are multiple restaurants within a two block walk offering a variety prices and dining styles. I would highly recommend this property for business as well as pleasure.

This hotel was clean. The staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast was included and they had a decent variety of choices. The hotel was located close to the Mall of America and Twin Cities Outlet Mall. The zoo was also in close proximity. Check in was quick. This hotel had good amenities for the price.

The walls are PAPER THIN. Without being graphic, we could, in disturbing detail, hear the activities of our neighbors at 8am. They were not being particularly loud, but based on all we could hear, the walls are THIN. We even looked for vents - it was that clear (there were no vents). Also, our bathroom counter had greasy spots and water spots on it. Gross. I will never stay at this hotel again. That said, the front desk staff was expeditious, although not particularly friendly. The bed was satisfactorily comfortable. So what! It doesn't make up for the negatives.

My wife and I took our two grandchildren to the Twin Cities for a long weekend. BW Plus Dakota Ridge proved to be a great location for our stay! I appreciate the fact that BW properties are not "cookie cutter" designs. Dakota Ridge has a lovely waterfall feature in the main lobby. We had a "junior suite" style room - very comfortable and spacious for the four of us. Breakfast was a notch above the usual hotel fare. My wife was very pleased to see that some turkey sausages and/or bacon were being served, along with the pork versions. The kids enjoyed the pancake machine - something a bit different from the usual waffle-maker. The only "down-side" was no on-site pool. The hotel staff were very accommodating in helping us access the pool at the nearby Holiday Inn Express. That worked in June - wouldn't be so great in January! A special "shout-out" to the shuttle driver who went out of his way to make sure we had good directions to find our own way downtown. Easy access to the MOA and the light rail terminal there made BW Dakota Ridge a great location for our weekend stay!

We stopped here while traveling on South 35 for the night after extensive driving. Spotted hotel while in highway. This hotel is right next to Holiday Inn Express and both are easy to acesss hotel from highway. $129.00 Saturday night stay. Simple accommodations and regular continental breakfast.

I just stayed one night before a flight and to hit the Mall of America. The hotel shuttle was very convenient getting there and to the airport. Nearby there are stores and restaurants that you can walk to as well. The room was nice and comfortable and they upgraded me as I had arrived early and my reserved room type wasn't yet available. The service was tops as well.

Ice cold flashes of water while showering. Beds were loud and squeaky. Food was dry or powdery or just out. Had to wait for refills of coffee cups and creamer. Doors started slamming at 6 am then people above were jumping on the floor. Tired!

A fair price hotel close to the airport, with breakfast .Also, van pick up at airport. The staff was great and help in my needs. I like this hotel because I am a bw reward member. Because, of that recieved a welcome pack.

Close proximity to shopping and easily accessible. Clean and quiet hotel. Stayed there on a Saturday night. Good breakfast options in the morning with a lot of places to sit. Hotel had a nice view. We had several rooms and an excellent time. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Went to monster truck jam, came back late with no issues, had a great breakfast in lobby and check out is not till 11 which is a plus..

I always appreciate staying at Dakota Ridge. The facility and staff are great. I do park and fly and it works out very well. Even arriving late at night the service is great. The driver is always helpful and the front desk is responsive as soon as I call for a ride from the airport.

The hotel itself was decent enough but the management is awful. My daughter left her stuffed animal at check out in our room and upon realizing we drove back to the hotel to pick it up. The room had been cleaned by that point but the item had not been placed in lost and found by staff. I called and spoke to the head of housekeeping Joe (had to call several times because he did not return my call) and hotel manager Jason and neither were willing to assist and we were unable to get our item returned. Additionally our heater in the room did not turn off the entire night.

Stayed here due to early departure time from airport. Rooms very clean with nice furniture. Easy check-in. Obtained wake up call per request at 5:15. Scheduled departure to Airport at 6am. Had early morning breakfast choices at 5:30. Had yogurt, ability to toast bagels, bread. Muffins available as well as cereal. Coffee and juice available as well. Front desk personnel helpful and friendly. Very impressed. Highly recommend.

Found the staff to be very friendly and courteous. Especially th short haired lady who managed the morning breakfast. She was very attentive and caring. Van drivers were very nice and will take you where you need to go near the property. There are some good eating places within walking distance. There is a nice Mexican and Italian place within walking distance as well as Starbucks about 10mins away.

Stayed here overnight on both ends of a trip. Used the park & ride feature. The beds were comfortable, we got a good night's sleep even needing to be up at 3am to get our flight. Location is convenient to the airport & the shuttle runs regularly 24 hours a day. Evening manager Melissa was very friendly and efficient, she seemed to genuinely enjoy her job & made us feel welcome.

This was our third stay with this specific hotel when traveling from the airport and utilizing the parking as well as airport transfer. Staff with the hotel were friendly and efficient. Our initial transfer to the airport was pleasant and the driver very courteous/helpful, especially at an early hour in the morning. Upon our return, I had called that we had arrived and the woman indicated it would be 30/35 minutes and the delay was due to the traffic and the weather which I believed to be true given the weather reports reviewed earlier that day. After approximately 45 minutes, I called to follow up (after traveling all day followed by a long night drive home with inclement weather, we were anxious to get home). The woman put me on hold to contact the driver and advised it would be another 15 minutes. She again indicated that the delay was due to the weather and the traffic. Approximately 20 minutes later, the driver appeared. The driver volunteered to us that he had taken someone to the airport and thereafter some pilots asked if he could give them a ride. The driver indicated that he thought he had enough time so took them to where they wanted to go (I believe this was to a different area of the airport). From how he spoke, I don't believe these were customers staying with Best Western. He then said that the hotel had radioed him that we had called after we had been waiting and said "oh sh**" and said he'd be there in 15 minutes. He then indicated that he had made it in 10 minutes however this was not accurate as we waited approximately another 15-20 minutes. After being told twice the delay was due to the weather and traffic, we made a return trip back to the hotel without issue on the roads and without issue of traffic. Suffice to say, we will not be returning due to this experience.

I was traveling for business. This hotel is in a great location with restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Very nice waterfall in the lobby and a nice hot breakfast. Serving starts at 6:30. They offer a free shuttle to the airport and to Mall of America. The shuttle will also take you anywhere within a mile radius of the hotel. I had an executive king room. Room was clean and well appointed. Bed and chair were very comfortable. I stayed Monday through Wednesday night's and it was very reasonably priced at $75/night. Staff very helpful and friendly.

So, I found this facility to be really nice. The appearance and cleanliness of the lobby, amenities and the guest room were all terrific...and the staff was great. The mattress was on the lower end in terms of comfort and you could really hear the springs "binging" around in there when you'd roll over. The shower was tough to navigate to find hot water and the shower head was clogged up. I could have called maintenance, but I only had a two night stay. I was kind of surprised at the cost for this location. They wanted $250 for two nights, but I got $220 by joining their rewards program, which was a fair rate for this facility. All of this said, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. We loved the place in general.

This was my first time at this particular hotel and I think it's a keeper! I spend about 15 - 18 nights a month at hotels and appreciate the good ones like this. PROs: 1. Reasonable wait at the airport for the van. (Note: It runs “on demand” so it's best to give an early call versus waiting till arriving at the pickup point in case the van, operated by Dakota Express, is on a MoA run or other trip.) 2. Fairly large, comfortable room with good layout. (The desk was NOT in direct line-of-fire from the heat/air conditioning.) 3. Microwave, fridge (no freezer) in room. 4. Single-use coffee maker with ample supply of coffee. 5. Free breakfast with a simple but adequate variety. 6. Good fitness center. Note for Maintenance: The seat adjustment knob on one of the bikes is missing. 7. Lots of food around within easy walking distance. CONs: None to note.

Excellent hotel, we use it for the park and stay feature when we travel. You can park your car free for a week when you stay one night. There is a reasonable charge per day beyond the week. There shuttle will take you to the airport anytime. The drivers are friendly and helpful.

Located in a great spot, easy to find and get to. Located by great shopping stores. Staff was friendly and very welcoming! Gorgeous hotel and the rooms were spacious and clean. Definitely recommend to anyone traveling for business or leisure.

I was pleased with the extremely low room rates I was able to get as a BW Rewards and Senior member for my stay over this year's (2017) 3-day Christmas Holiday weekend. The BW Dakota Ridge in Eagan, MN is of high quality and rates I paid made it an exceptional value.

This hotel offers 24 hour airport shuttle service which is great for an early morning flight! I stay here the night before my flight and the day that I return. The shuttle service is very convienient!

They tuck the blanket and also few things broke in inside the hotel. TV Did note work. The carpet was sticky. The desk chair was sluggish on the wheels. Hot water pressure drop issues in the shower when another room's shower is turned on or toilet is flushed.

I stayed at Best Western Dakota Ridge for one night on business this week. The front desk and shuttle driver were very friendly and helpful. The meeting space was good. If I was rating on staff and meeting space alone it would have been 5 stars, but alas, the hotel room and amenities had to be brought into consideration. The Best Western Plus priced in the same price range as hotels like Hampton Inn, however, there are small differences that make them very different. The rooms at Best Western get the job done, but the finishes aren't as nice (comparing directly to the Hampton down the road). I had a frilly shirt (not iron able) that I wanted to stick on a hanger in the bathroom to steam. No biggie, right? Not so. The hangers are attached to the bar in the closet....presumably to reduce theft of the hangers. I don't want to steal them, but I certainly want to be able to use them as needed! There is no pool or hot tub for guest use (or if there was I couldn't find it) another con for the same money. The bathroom tub, while updated with new tile, was completed poorly along the edges/wall which was pretty evident to me, and when I turned on the shower I noticed that the faucet actually was unaffixed to the wall (the original silicone seal had totally come apart), and the faucet turned sideways, and stayed that way for the remainder of the shower. The shower was not affected. The counter tops and doors were aged, and just didn't appear as high end as other hotels in the same price range. Again, the room got the job done, it just wasn't up to par, in my opinion, for the nightly rate. The people were great though, and the meeting space was good. I would probably stay elsewhere in the future, but I'm used to higher end hotels. This was my first ever visit to a Best Western Plus.

Friendly hotel very clean, decent breakfast with USA today and excellent shuttle service. Will definitely stay again in the near future. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. I have stayed here many times and can count on great service.

This affordable hotel is just off interstate 35E in Eagan. It is close to the airport but not by all the other airport hotels in Bloomington and has a free shuttle to the airport. Breakfast is included and has lots of choices.

Nice little hotel with comfy rooms. My room had a massage chair which was a fun upgrade. Its nice to see a bathtub since some hotels are leading away from that. It was comfy clean room and bed and the room was made up every day cleanly for my 4 day stay there. Thanks for a great stay.

LOVED the in room massage chair. Could have just slept there! Bed was comfortable and room clean. Shower was good but water turned cold in the middle. Breakfast was standard express fare. I come to the area at least once a year and would stay here again.

The rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast a plus did not use fitness room but I would. The location was great expressway,very close shopping,places were so close you could walk to if like walking or trying to get your steps in also eating places were close by

They must have fixed the exterior of the hotel without updating the rooms. Very dark rooms, poor bed, sketchy internet. Poor breakfast choices. There is a Holiday Inn Express right next to this hotel and it is a much better choice.

The staff here from the moment I called for the shuttle to the time I checked out were amazing!! Great breakfast, quite room. I was very pleased with everything!! I will stay if in the area again. They were so friendly everytime I walked out they asked if i was good or if I needed anything. The driver was so friendly and nice. We couldnt find the pick up at the MAO and they waited till we found the right door which Im sure they had places to be. They didnt make it an issue about waiting.

We loved the hotel but didn't know that our room was a pet friendly room. After we paid for our room and left the hotel we noticed on the invoice that the room was pet friendly. I will review all the service as Very Good, but the fact we were not told would likely stop me from staying here again.

My family and I have stayed at this property on multiple occasions while visiting Minneapolis and have always had a pleasant experience. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed, the high-speed internet is sufficient, the hot breakfast is actually decent. Definitely recommended!

This location close to the airport, Mall Of America, and many other attractions in the area. Incredible staff who worked hard to make our stay outstanding. The hotel shuttle provided super service to major attractions and transportation to local restaurants and other businesses. Awesome breakfast served daily.

we stayed for a Park n Fly trip out of MSP and were extremely pleased with all the employees from the front desk to the van driver. Plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from and breakfast was available very early

Dakota Ridge is 3.9 miles from the Mall of America, but if you are willing to forego the pool your hotel cost will be reduced. The location is also convenient to the Minnesota Zoo although no shuttle is provided for that. Our room was comfortable and quiet and breakfast was the standard fare offered at most Best Westerns. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel before flying out the next morning. Everyone from the person that checked us in to the last person checking us out and the driver were top notch. The room was extremely clean, and the breakfast was great. I definately will stay here again when in the area.

Couldn't get room to get cleaned for 3 days even after asking 2 days in a row to have it cleaned. Not happy at all. Staff not very friendly after complaining about the rooms. Didn't seem to care how unhappy we were. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone we know.

My son was stranded in MN due to Hurricane IRMA and was unable to get home to Florida. Rooms where sold out due to Monday night football and we where having the most difficult time finding him a place to stay until flights where available for him to come home. Talked to Melissa Pavek about the situation over the phone and she was so nice and willing to help. She arranged for him to be picked up at the airport, brought to the hotel, made sure he was good in an awesome room, made sure he was safe and brought back to the airport in time to catch his flight. She was so amazing i can not thank her and the staff enough to take that worry off of me during the Hurricane. My son said the hotel, the room and the staff where top notch. I am most grateful for the kindness they all shared to my family.

We used to live in Eagan, so enjoy staying there due to the close proximity of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. With this stay, we have found our home away from home. From the moment I walked in at 11:30 pm, I was greeted by a friendly person that had all of our reservation in hand while taking care of a busload of Toronto Blue Jay baseball fans. The two-night stay was in a very nice room with the best mattress ever! The breakfast was very good with cheesy scrambled eggs, bacon, and turkey sausage as well as a pancake maker, something new to us. All of the staff was very accommodating and made our stay look forward to the next one.

Stayed here night before flight to Baltimore. Service and room were great . Ride to airport was on time and driver very helpful. Room was quiet. Breakfast was available before we left even though it was very early.

Every part of our stay was great. The staff was so helpful, the room comfortsblr (with a massage chair!), the airport shuttle was effi ient & prompt.-all made the stay good. We would definitely stsy here again.

The staff was very friendly & helpful, I was able to get a late checkout without trouble. The rooms are in need of renovation. Because of the age of the room decor, it appeared a bit shabby and unclean.

Excellent place to stay at a good price. Near the airport, easily accessible on interstate highways to both Minneapolis and St. Paul, friendly people in a safe, clean environment. I will stay there again on my next Minnesota visit.

From its appearance this hotel is either new or newly renovated. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff friendly and professional. Complimentary breakfast was better than most hotels in this price range. The entrance is hard to find; there's no sign where to turn from the main road. We saw the back side from the freeway but had to guess how to get there.

Clean room, great staff. Nasty tasting scrambled eggs, cold sausage links and pancake machine ran out of mixture and no one around to change bag. AC didn't work in room. Other than that a nice place to stay.

Nothing special but not bad either. It was an acceptable option for park and fly. However watch your reservation closely and check and verify it. Ours was made by phone with 2 rooms, Park and Fly and then 2 rooms when we returned. We even confirmed it when we checked in the first time. All went fine til we got back but they had somehow lost our reservation. We were able to get one room which was not ideal.

It is located not that close from the downtown area, but is within 10 minutes drive from the Mall of America. This is well maintained overall, and have all the facilities for a business hotel. Room, amenities, breakfast, general decor are up to standard. The only concern is the wifi speed is lacking at times.

I've stayed here several times before or after a trip. Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Service is always good here including the hot breakfast. Shuttle service is quick and dependable. Shuttle driver was helpful in giving me directions to get back out of the city on my return to the hotel.

I'll stay again. especially easy to access MSP. Free airport shuttle. Easy parking. Hotel offered me gift AND bonus points! Yay. Spacious attractive lobby with ample seating. I'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel was ok. We had 2 rooms in one the ac didn't work and we had to be switched rooms. The other room we got new bedding for because there were hairs all over the sheets. There was a free breakfast but the hot items tasted horrible. The best thing about the hotel was it's 5 mins from a Outlet Mall and 2 mins from a Walmart. The room also had massaging chairs which was nice.

Very nice hotel for the money. I decided to stay a little bit away from Mall of America to get a cheaper rate. Even though we rented a car, the hotel offered free shuttle service to the mall. We had a problem with the tub not draining. The staff was quick to rectify the problem. The daily breakfast was your standard hot breakfast. The entire staff is pleasant, helpful, accommodating, and polite.

Hotel was nice we didn't do much at the hotel since we left at 4:30 for our flight. Shuttle to airport was on time and very quick. Shuttle on the way back very slow getting to airport waiting for an hour and fifteen minutes for it to arrive was told they only had on driver on a Saturday afternoon. Not what you want to do after a long flight is sit in the airport parking garage. Timed it on the way back to hotel 10 minute drive.

On the whole the hotel is OK, but basic daily checks were not carried out. We stayed for 3 nights and on the 2nd day our room was not cleaned and the bed was not made. the microwave was unplugged and the water kept running cold during the shower in the morning.

This is the longest I have stayed in a hotel room in a while and this fit the fill. Friendly and professional staff and comparative rates. The hotel closet door was a bit difficult to utilize but overall a great experience.

Checkin was professional and quick. The hotel is clean, updated and has a comfortable feel. Our room had 2 queen beds that were comfortable, the room was quiet and bathroom clean. The breakfast had many choices, better than most hotels. We were able to walk to the mall. Took a walk in a local neighborhood. Found it a safe area to be out and about. Will stay here again!!!

Everything was handled with utmost professionalism and the staff were very personable at the same time. They knew the area and were able to answer questions well. They and the rooms made our stay very restful.

We stayed here for three nights. Lots of shopping and restaurants and hotel was very clean. Lack of stars due to an uncomfortably hard bed and lack of water pressure in shower. Free breakfast was nice way to start the morning.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and could not have been more pleased. Because of the length of stay, we received a weekly rate that was incredibly inexpensive. The rate was particularly impressive because it included a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport (a few other locations are offered as well) and breakfast. Although we did use the shuttle to get to the hotel, we rented a car at a location which was within walking distance to the hotel. (The shuttle would have taken us there if we had wanted.) The rooms are fairly standard, but ours was absolutely quiet (on the 2nd floor). The beds do not have the highest premium mattresses that might be found in some upscale hotels, but are comfortable. The breakfast was also fairly standard, but did offer some healthy options such as hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and fruit. We would return in a heartbeat!

This is a very nice motel to stay in where you can expect to find clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. We were visiting family so didnt stay around the facility too much; however I would stay here again. It's also close to the airport and shopping centers

This hotel was about 10-20 min from everything we wanted to do (Minnehaha Falls, Mall of American, outlet shopping, the zoo....). It was very clean and cozy. No complaints at all about the hotel. Breakfast was enough. Wifi functioned well. Microwave and fridge in rooms (this is a huge plus if you dont want to eat out every night and you bring meals like we did). Very close to grocery stores (Hyvee and Walmart) and also close to a variety of eating places. Staff was attentive to anything we needed. Would stay here again.

I had a great stay. Late night food delivery was a plus from the area. The hotel returning my lost watch was huge for me. The lobby was clean, and the staff was prompt. The bed was not comfortable and could use an upgrade.

Was shocked to have to pay $205.00 for a room with a king bed 2 people. The only reason we stayed here is because friends were there also. I should have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express right next door. The front desk people were very friendly and efficient. Lots of parking spaces. The room was clean but average, certainly not worth the money,, in my humble opinion. One of the elevators sounded like it wasn't going to make it to the 3rd floor with grinding noises. Eventually they took ti out of service. that meant it took a long time to go anywhere. Breakfast was included but it was the standard fare and that too was just average. We didn't pay this much for a room in Paris.

One of the best hotel I have stayed. Employees were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean and very well kept up. You can tell that the staff enjoyed the jobs and took pride in their hotel. Hotel had easy access to the interstate which made it easy to get to and from.

Stayed at this hotel x2. First stay had problems with shower. Some of the ceiling was peeling off. Food was ok nothing special. The second stay booked a room with double queen beds got a room with king size bed. That was fine. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice that it is located close to many shopping malls.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel and found it a good base for our three days in the Twin Cities. The hotel is fairly new and was clean throughout. Ample restaurants nearby and good access to the highway system. Breakfast was also good and set us up for the day.

BWP Dakota Ridge is in a GREAT location, close proximity to both of the Twin Cities and all the fabulous events they host. They're also not in an area of heavy construction, which makes travel that much better!

The rooms were very comfortable and the staff is beyond helpful. Carolyn at the front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. She directed us to places to eat ect and was just very nice to us. We happened to have a couple loudly fighting in the room right next to us and she handled the whole situation very professional. We were moved to a new room and slept like babies. The morning we left for our vacation we met Danette in the breakfast area and she helped us with our breakfast options and was also very friendly and helpful. We utilized the park and fly option and the shuttle driver was awesome. When we got back from our trip we did not have to wait at all for the shuttle to pick us up. When we are in the area we will definitely stay here again!!

The room was filthy. It looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a while. Your feet stuck to the floor it was so sticky. The bed spreads, which were white, hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. The hall floors looked they could also use a vacuum.

Loved the convenience of the free breakfast and the gym(although small) it served my needs during my stay. There were also quite a few restaurants within walking distance which was great! I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Minneapolis.

I travel quite a bit on business and leisure. Although I loved the in room microwave and refrigerator, the rooms were a bit dated. The lobby area was dated as well and I would prefer a hotel that includes a bar; although I am a big fan of the free breakfast as it is very convenient while traveling with children.

Our fan wasnt working in bathroom a maintenance man came within 5 min. and put a whole new fan in. Our stay was very good. We went to the car show, we've stayed here for this car show every year for the last 10 years.

Great location from airport. Close to many restaurant's and shopping. Easy access in and out. Clean and friendly service. The breakfast food was very average. The hot food was not very hot and not very tasty. The rooms were neat and fairly quiet. If we ever have to come back here again we would stay here.

Stayed here because of the proximity to MSP. Utilized park and fly service. Would have been better of walking to the airport. Waited an hour and twenty minutes for shuttle pick up, before calling to reconfirm pickup. When I did get ahold of someone, they hadnt even left yet. Better yet, the said they would try to have someone out minutes. Service very unprofessional, and on top of that rooms were marginal at best. I strongly recommend looking for another alternative, especially if you plan to utilize park and fly, unless you want to wait an hour and a half for a pickup.

The accommodations were nice enough for a short stay, but we probably won't book this venue again because of the musty smell and the low ceiling in the bathroom (We are tall folks). Our room had a new sink, shower and counter top and the bathroom had tile floor and tub. The hot breakfast left a lot to be desired so we opted for toast and yogurt. We missed the cinnamon rolls that you normally get at a breakfast bar/buffet. The bed was very comfortable for a good nights sleep (very important). The price was right for what we got, a little less $ than Holiday Inn Express, but without the modern cozy atmosphere.

We stayed here one night before flying home. It is a very nice hotel. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast is very good with a variety of food choices. The breakfast area is large with room for many people. The fitness room is nice. We loved the computers with a printer in the lobby where we were able to print our boarding passes for our flight, at no additional charge. That was extremely helpful! We would stay here again.

I liked everything and everyone who works there. I take issue with the shower heads. I've stayed in two rooms so far this week and both rooms had dirty showerheads. I would really appreciate seeing clean shower heads in the future

I appreciated the close proximity to the MSP airport. The rooms very clean and moderrn as is the lobby. The staff were very helpful and professional. The breakfast was fresh and good. There are stores and restaurants nearby also.

Really good value for the price paid. Neat and clean atmosphere. Close to restaurants and shopping. Only downside is that there is no lighting over the shower in the bathroom. Staff is very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff here was kind and friendly! The maids did great job taking care of the room even giving us fresh bed spreads! We did not have a single problem with anything during the entirety of our stay just wish they had a pool!

On a positive note, this motel is conveniently located near an I-35E interchange, so travel to the airport, the MOA, or generally anywhere in the Twin Cities is pretty easy. Several restaurants and a huge grocery store can be walked to, and by crossing over the freeway to the east, there is a Walmart and just about every fast food chain you can think of. Our room with a king size bed was of decent size, and included a desk and chair, a microwave, and a small refrigerator (which unfortunately we set at the coldest setting and ended up with everything frozen solid--so be careful). Our room faced southeast, that is, toward the freeway, so the road noise was audible. We kept on the ventilation fan at night, and the white noise covered up the traffic noise. If you're sensitive to such noise, however, best to get a room on the other side of the building. The room was clean and in good shape, although lighting is marginal (undersize CFL bulbs, plus one was burned out), and the bathroom fan did a mediocre job of sucking the moisture out. The lobby is open and bright, with a pseudo-waterfall. We ate our breakfasts and read the newspaper (free at the front desk) in the lobby. The breakfast is par for the course--some steam tray eggs and sausage, several kinds of cereal, bread, yogurt, etc. A Bruggers Bagel place and a Starbucks are a 5-minute walk away. The disappointing part of our stay was that our room was not serviced one day, and we came back at the end of the day and found it as we left it--pretty messy, in need of towels, etc. The desk clerk couldn't help much, as he was the only one on staff still left, but we were able to go to the desk and get extra towels. I asked to be contacted by the manager, but that never happened. I then emailed him, but again no response. Not sure that Best Western cares about its guests as much as described on their web site: "Best Western is dedicated to providing you with the best possible travel experience. We operate in an industry built on trust and guest satisfaction. This can only be achieved through communication and experienced support."

The shuttle driver of the Dakota express was speedy and efficient!! Got our group to and from airport with no problems. Picked us up at airport 5 minutes after we called The hotel is clean and modern. Beds were super comfortable. Will definitely consider staying here again when flying out of MSP

South of the airport so a bit off the beaten path, but no noise from airplanes at all. The hotel is very clean, large open public space, the rooms are large, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Plus they accept pets. Breakfast is a bit disappointing. Better than the average fare, but falls short of delicious. Overall, this was one of the better properties we have stayed.

The hotel was clean and the employees were nice and helpful. I would definitely stay there again, the location was excellent for dining and shopping. I would have taken the shuttle to Mall of America but I was working. I enjoyed my stay.

Front desk person didn't know how to key in a BW gift card and told me to ask in the morning. He gave me key cards that were not functioning, and when I went back to the desk to get them fixed he was asleep.

Our check-in was very quick. Also, since I'm a BW club member, received a gift package of water, peanuts and microwave popcorn. Very nicely decorated and clean exterior and lobby.Comfortable bed, plenty of pillows to select. Nicely decorated. Located nearby plenty of restaurants! Plenty of lamps to brighten the room, but a bit dark in the shower area since the only lights in the bathroom are above the sink. Clean carpet and room.. Microwave and small refrigerator. Very noticeable patching completed on screws in room walls, and particularly, in the bathroom where an outlet had been relocated. Most noticeable were the filthy windows that need to be cleaned. Left at 4:30 a.m. to catch a flight and hadn't received a bill under our door and no one was at the front desk to confirm our bill. A very nice PLUS was the offering of a good selection of breakfast items even though it was so early. Toast, yogurt, juice, cereal and other basic foods to help us get started.

Stayed at the Best Western Dakota Plus in April 2017. Came to Eagan MN for a bike race over in Cannon Falls, MN. Hotel was located just off the highway and was very easy to find and had very good access. Parking was very large and a very safe area. Check in was amazing. Friendly staff and high quality customer service. Room was very nice. Room for my bike. Good hot water and was very very clean. I had a nice view of St. Paul in the distance. which made the experience really amazing. Breakfast was included and had a good assortment of many things to eat and the basics. Area is very good for staying in. Many good restaurants in the area and grocery stores and wine shops. Good to keep you busy. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to stay at. Very good place. Good for solo people, groups, families and seniors. Close to the airport. Seems most people who stay here are in between flights. Hotel does provide a shuttle to airport and Mall of America. I would stay here again any time. Highly recommend and thank you to hotel management. I will be staying here again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay and it served our needs very well. We use this hotel for its location and our familularity with the area. The motel has been clean and comfortable for us in our previous stays and we found it to be the same this time.

Hotel was as stated in title. Rooms were comfortable and the fridge and microwave were an appreciated addition to the room. The hotel is within walking distance of stores and restaurants. A Starbucks can be found in the Hy-Vee across the street. My only frustration was with the widely varying water temperature of the shower. After some effort to get the knob adjusted to a comfortable temp, the water would quickly and unpleasantly jump up or down several degrees.

skipped room service 3 out of 8 days, did not replenish service items or food in the breakfast area in a timely manner, broken door not repaired doing entire visit (just a note of apology) , and on going problem with water variation (ice cold to scalding hot) during morning shower time - this particular problem has never been fixed over the many years the hotel has been open. The general manager did not response to a detailed email on improvements to make this a better experience. He did, in all fairness, adjust out bill due to missed room service. We will not return

Hotel was clean on the outside and well lit. They provide a shuttle to the airport and mall of america. Lobby was large and clean. Front desk staff was friendly and fast and check in. I found my room to be in order. No odors, though it was a little musty because the air was turned off, but it cleared right up when I turned the air on. They are environmentally friendly and turn off the fridges after people check out. Room appeared clean, didn't note any bugs and I ALWAYS check. Bathroom was clean, though it could have been better lit on the shower side, sink and vanity are lit well enough for putting on make up if you need to. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was the one of the things I found lacking at this location. They have several choices of hot food, eggs, biscuits, sausage, bacon, it varied slightly each day I was there. They also have a make your own pancake machine, oatmeal, yogurt, milk(which was sour), 2 varietys of cold cereal. They had several toppings for the oatmeal but they were located no where near the oatmeal so I doubt most people knew they were an option. The hot food was cold both days I tried it, but there is a microwave to warm it, though you shouldn't need to if kept at proper food safe temperature. The other thing I found lacking was there was no visible security cameras anywhere. First place I have been in a long time that didn't have a system. Disappointed in those two things. Otherwise it was a very nice hotel.

Great staff and impeccable rooms. All common spaces were clean. Thee airport shuttle driver was polite. Check in was seamless and fluid. The bed was huge and comfortable. Bathroom amenities were there and ample. Since we went to breakfast at 4:15am they only offered cold breakfast. It was fresh and plentiful.

Good nights rest. Tub didn't drain. We didn't know if we were charged twice for room on credit card. Overall good experience Like the sleep and fly that we can do. Staff was very helpful and well dressed. Van driver very nice.

The room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. One day we returned in the evening to find that only the wastebaskets had been emptied and fresh towels delivered, but beds unmade. Shuttle to airport was reliable.

I stayed here for a get together of a group of musicians. I really liked the set up and the fact that we had all of the conference and meeting rooms on the lower level. The rooms were exactly what one would expect. Having the microwave and fridge were an awesome bonus. The highlight was the gentleman working the desk on Friday evening. Jordan was on his first night solo and was fantastic. When he came on shift he came down to the conference rooms and introduced himself and let us know that he would be there all night if we needed anything. The other staff was very nice as well but Jordan was the best!

I was disappointed in the condition of our hotel room during our recent stay. The room number was 309. On entering the room we noticed it was over the entrance to the hotel. We thought O well, we booked through hotels.com and I have read that often the least desirable locations get assigned to people booking on third party sites. I don't have a problem with that. This was our second stay at this hotel, the prior was also booked through hotels.com for a four night stay in the spring of this year. We had a lovely room for our stay that time. My issue was with the maintenance of the room itself. I believe we got the worst maintained room in the hotel. We immediately noted cracked and lifting tiles on the bathroom floor between the toilet and the front of the tub. I was worried we could cut our bare feet when entering or exiting the tub. Subsequently it became apparent the stopper for the tub was rusted off and needed repair as was the toilet seat. It was broken off near the bolts securing it to the bowl. We also noted that a piece at the bottom of the air conditioner was not longer attached but sitting on the floor. Credit should be given to your front desk and maintenance personal. Within 30 minutes of my bring these items to their attention someone was at our door and repairs were underway. Unfortunately it was not possible to fix the cracked floor at that time. I also noticed later the closet door would not slide but I thought there was no point in reporting another thing. We continued to occupy the room for our second night however on our return that afternoon our TV would not work. The front desk said to give it a couple of hours and it might come back on. Not acceptable for us. A wonderful gentleman, I believe one of the shuttle drivers was sent up to see if he could do anything but to no avail. Within minutes he had another room procured for us and helped us pack up and move. I wish I could remember his name, he is a credit to this Bestwestern. After settling into our new room it became apparent how bad our old TV was, the picture quality was so dark it was difficult to see the programs. Also the sheets in 309 while clean, were thin and a funny creamy colour and our new bed had crisp white sheets. My thought at the time was the run down room gets the old bedding as well. In hind sight maybe I should have spoken up the first day and asked to be moved. If the room had been less than immaculately clean I would have definitely pushed the issue. I emailed the hotel manager outline my issues hoping to at least get a sorry. It has been almost a month and no reply. Either they get so many complains they can't keep up or they don't care. On our next visit to Eagan we are undecided whether to give the Bestwestern another try. We like the location and find the hotel clean and quiet, perfect for our needs but the maintenance issues have upset us. We like to keep our home in good repair and we expect the same thing when we travel.

We stayed here for the park and fly service. Everything about the hotel was fine though a little pricey. They were replacing carpeting in public areas which is good to know they're always working on keeping property up to date. My only complaint is the shuttle. We had to make two additional stops on our way to the airport. Upon return from our trip we had to wait 30 minutes at the airport and then had to go out of our way to pick up one person at the mall. When I'm coming home from a trip, I just want to go home as soon as possible and found that detour a little annoying.

My family goes to the cities to the MOA, the ZOO's, museum's, you name it and we have stayed at numerous hotels in the cities and the surrounding areas. This hotel is by far the best one we have stayed at yet. We have stayed at least over 20 . The beds were comfortable. The breakfast is extended. The staff was polite. Shuttle to airport and MOA. Room was clean. Easy to get too.

The hotel is close tot he interstate, very clean, quiet, and close to restaurants. Beautiful surroundings and very helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite clean. I would definitely stay here again!

We needed a shuttle to take us to MSP and they more than provided that with a guy named Paul who was one of the nicest people you ever want to meet. Staff was extremely professional and helpful. We had to leave the hotel at 3:30 a.m. to catch our flight. Even though the breakfast doesn't start until 6:00 a.m., they made sure we had coffee and juice, and other things other than the hot food. I didn't expect that.

Business paid travel, hotel held personal credit card funds for whole stay upon check in! Foreign travelers with other non travelers in hotel knocking on room doors, using property and internet....shady- security and internet concerns. First really bad experience in a Best Western.

Dated and not what I am used to. We stayed here for an overnight. Staff was friendly and when we checked in the lobby was humming with travelers and business suites. The hallways had an oil like musty smell, but luckily didn't deep into our room. Shower was hot and the room was clean.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night before flying out of MSP airport. Our room was very clean and updated (different from the pictures with the yellowish walls and red bedding). The staff was very friendly at check-in and check-out. The hotel was easy to navigate and the room corridors were quiet. Overall, a great stay. My only negative note is that the parking lot smelled a little of sewage... but likely not the fault of the hotel so I can't let it effect the rating. Not offensive, just noticed it when going to the car.

we stayed here for the Ryder Cup, as did many others. This property is so deficient compared to similar chains. It's hard to describe how filthy the breakfast area was..nobody attended to the dwindling supplies of bad food choices, stale bagels, and drips of coffee left in the thermos. Rooms have the 1970's hotel odor, and cheap window AC units. Avoid this place at all costs

I was at this hotel for a conference with 80 others. It was a nice clean simple hotel. No pool or hotub but pleasant and close to lots of good shopping. The main bad thing which many of my fellow attendees experienced like i did twice was that the hot shower turns instantly cold randomly. Previous reviews for a long time has complained about this too but still not addressed.

The room was very nice, clean and quiet, with the bed had a good mattress. There was an excellent breakfast which included hot food of eggs and sausage, waffles, juice, yogurt with all kinds of toppings to add. I also appreciated our Lewis and clark History group receiving such a good discounted rate.

The decor is old...the water runs hot and cold if you want to shower...the cooling system is cut off in the middle of the night and the room goes hot. I can't sleep in a hot room. For smokers....no place to sit in the front of the building and you have to hike to the back of the building. Not fun if it's hard for somebody to walk the distance. I did not enjoy my stay this time. The hotel also overbooked the room for our event so we actually got into the room we reserved for 2 years a day late. Totally unprofessional.

Stayed at this hotel as we had an early morning flight and they offered a good park and fly rate. The lobby is very nice and modern, and the staff was very helpful. Rooms were nice and beds were very comfortable. Will stay here next time I fly. The only con, is there isn't much for eating places within walking distance, except for a couple of choices.

I had stayed here previously so when I was looking for a hotel where my sisters and I could stay after they flew in to MSP, it was a no-brainer. Accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast area was welcoming with a nice selection of items to chose from. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel exceeded expectations for breakfast, fitness room, and internet speed. The room was a good size, with a desk, two chairs, TV, microwave, and refrigerator. The breakfast had scrambled eggs and sausage, cold cereal, juices, milk, yogurt, fruit, waffles, bread, bagels, and more. Recommended.

People at the hotel desk were nice and helpful as we were checking in. The room was clean and and the beds were comfortable. The carpet was sticking to my feet so I had to keep my shoes on in the hotel. We stayed for an overnight trip to see Metallica and we wanted to get back on the road right away the next day. We stayed at this hotel because they offered free breakfast. When we went down to get breakfast there was no regular coffee just decaf. We went and asked about getting more coffee and the lady at the front counter said ok but didn't do anything about it. So we stood there waiting and nobody came and nothing happened so we decided to get our stuff packed and get ready to go so we could eat breakfast and leave. We went back a half an hour later and this time there was half a pot of coffee left but no eggs or sausages left and nobody was around to keep filling it up. So we left and paid for breakfast at a Perkins nearby so we didn't waste anymore time and got back on the road.The no coffee, bad customer service and then no breakfast really ruined our stay.

Very nice hotel, good location, not hard to get to or get out of. Furnishings were nice & in good condition. Plenty of parking close to the building. Lots of places to eat in the area & within walking distance.

This was my first time staying at the Best Western Plus Dakota Ridge and it was very pleasurable. All of the staff was courteous and attentive through out my 3 day stay. I was always was greeted with a smile by the front desk staff upon entering and exiting the facilities AM or PM, the Housekeeping staff was always attentive too! The first thing I always notice is how clean the surrounding area is: the walk up to; as well as, the front doors.. very clean and no crumbling side walks, which is good for canes, walkers, and wheelchairs. Breakfast was hearty and satisfying; not like the usual hotel breakfast that is unpalatable, I actually managed to make it to Breakfast every morning- no small miracle there as I was visiting with university friends. There was a fridge and microwave in the room too. No pool.. no problem for me. I can not say enough good things about Best Western Plus Dakota Ridge- you'll have to see for your selves.

I stayed in this hotel after attending Mooseburger Clown Arts Camp in Buffalo, MN. My flight back home was not until the day after camp ended, so myself and a fellow clown spent the night here. The hotel is within walking distance to two gas stations and a small shopping center that has a few restaurants and a liquor store (that is not open on Sunday). The room was spacious enough and the bed was comfortable. The hotel offered breakfast but I did not wake up for it, as I had leftover pizza from the night before. Although my stay here was very brief, I would definitely stay here again.

This was my third time staying at this hotel over the years, and as always, the service was friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the hotel is near the airport. There's free shuttle service, and if you're staying here longer, you can also get rides to nearby Mall of America and the train. The hotel also serves a full breakfast.

The staff at the Dakota Ridge Best Western went out of their way to be helpful, both at check in and check out. The breakfast room staff person was really nice and went out of her way to assist guests. The location is right off I35 in Eagan, which makes it easy to get to St, Paul,

We were in Eagan for a family wedding, and being brand loyal to Best Western, we stayed at this location. The staff is amazing in their positive attitude and willingness to help out in any way that they can. Kudos to them. Plus, the most important thing of all, is that the room was clean. No matter the price paid for a room, if it is not clean, it is no good. The nameless folks that do the hard work of keeping the room spiffy, deserve a lot of praise. The breakfast was good, and the young lady that does the weekends was superb in being friendly... We would definately stay at this location again.

I've stayed at the Dakota Ridge two years in a row now for a trip I've had in the Twin Cities. Both times, the customer service has been great. The rooms are clean. The amenities are handy and there is always a ride to the airport.

My family and I spent the last night of our vacation at this Best Western prior to flying out of MSP. I booked a 2 queen room for 4 persons. Our room was spacious enough for the 4 of us to move around even with our suitcases open. The bathroom did show some signs of wear. Breakfast was the usual fare, nothing special. Took approximately 15 minutes to get to MSP on a Monday morning. Not bad.

We stayed overnight. The location was convenient, and was not hard to find. Overall it was a nice experience, although the lobby was a little too warm. Maybe they had air conditioning issues, because there were two large fans behind the check-in desk. The hotel met our needs for a comfortable stay.

I am forced to stay here quarterly by my company. Every time I complain that the satellite doesn't work. They apologize and that's about it. This is now the 4th quarter and last time I stay here. Same thing. No satellite. Come on really. Nobody has ever complained about this. There are so many options in the area that you can do better. The staff is phenomenal though and I wish I could give a better rating for them.

I came to a convention here on June 19 through June 23. When I got there with the host, we checked in and then went to the meeting room to set up to find a big loud machine. We went to ask for it to be moved and that is when we found out that it was the "AC" for the room because their AC broke down...the host was never contacted about the AC being down. We had 48 total people attending the convention from 19 years old to 80+ years old. The heat and humidity was horrible. Granted we had some fans and this noisy AC machine...when the host went to ask about what can be done about talking to everyone, she was handed a microphone...seriously??? Due to the heat in the room we had to cut our classes short because it was affecting several people. A lot of the people who were there have health issues, ranging from cardiac patients, diabetics, and all the way to asthma. One person went to the emergency room over night, several got sick from the heat, and several people went to their room. I am an EMT and I know that heat was not good for anyone. One of the people who work at the hotel over heard me talking to a convention goer and when they heard I was an EMT the staff person said "well it's part of your job isn't it?" I get that is my job but I was at the convention for vacation...not to be working bc no one how's to tell people that the AC is broken. Friday I was brought to the ER by ambulance bc of an asthma attack and less than 24 hours later I was back in the ER for another one. Both doctors told me that it is from the heat and humidity from the convention room, which caused me to miss a day and a half of work. Management did all they could...so we thought, until we found out that they had the new AC since the 20th but we're waiting until the convention was done to put it in...Come one people. Use your heads. Just an FYI what the hotel did by not informing us was WAY wrong and not putting in the new AC when it was relieved and allowing people to be in that in room when it was that hot is against Health code. So I should bring them my medical bill from the 2 asthma attacks and ambulance ride for them to pay and also have them pay for my day and a half off from work because the asthma attacks were caused by the poor cooling system in the convention room.

I traveled to MN for a Convention which was held at this hotel. Although the rooms were clean and air conditioning in the rooms were functioning the Conference room was not. This made for a very uncomfortable week as classes were held in the conference room. The staff of the hotel was not at all sympathetic to the problem. Although breakfast was included, it was the same each day and the hot portion was not very appetizing. The desk staff were very curt when asked if rooms could be changed; they seemed to cater to guests that were staying only a night and not the entire week. Would I stay here again NO!

Unfortunately came for the weekend to the Twin Cities area for a funeral. I originally booked at BW close to the church, however, I should have booked closer to family. So, I called the Shoreview BW and Alyssa said she would call a hotel closer to Eagan (family) to inquire about availability and give me a call back. Approximately 15 minutes later, she called with great news, she cancelled my existing reservation at Shoreview, transferred my contact information and reserved a hotel room for my dad and I at Datoka Ridge - we were all set! When I walked in I was greeted nicely by staff and Judy knew who I was immediately. She was friendly, answered all my questions and we continued chatting casually for a bit. Breakfast is sufficient with options like waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cereal, milk, juice and coffee. It's plenty and after all this isn't Denny's. I'm happy I don't have go fetch breakfast outside of the hotel, plus for me! The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable with just the right amount of support and I don't like a firm bed. There was also a small refrigerator and microwave in our room, so that was a nice surprise to keep beverages cool. The shower pressure in bathroom was perfect and the water was hot. Overall, great stay and I would choose Dakota Ridge again! Reviews are subjective, and my experience was a good one, I could not be more pleased that everything worked out during our hotel stay in the Minneapolis area.

I stayed at this hotel last year and the the housekeeping staff was 10 times better this stay. Housekeeping checked on us every day to make sure we had everything we needed. However the meeting room we used all week was another story, we were using the meeting room in the lower level and it was hot! It was hot last year too but we thought it would be fixed for sure. Nope. They brought in fans but it was still hot. They also did not inform us of this monstrosity of a portable A/C that would be in the room. It's huge and loud!!! Our convention host asked the front desk if they had a mic. They gave her one and said you can try to use it but we're not sure if it works. These people did not seem to care. They were not very helpful! We had attendees from 19 years of age to the 70's. Our elderly women save all year long for this trip. It was very inconsiderate of the hotel to not do more to make our time more pleasant. Why not hire someone to come service the unit ahead of time or notify the host that there is an issue. The breakfast bar had not changed. They served the same thing EVERYDAY! They had some sort of baked scrambled eggs and sausage links. There was no varying the menu. They had the typical waffle maker, instant oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, bread and yogurt. You would be better off finding a hotel with a better breakfast. All in all, after two week-long stays at this facility, I would highly recommend that you seek lodging elsewhere.

We booked this hotel based on the comments on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed or surprised in our accommodations. The hotel is well located in Eagan, close to shopping and restaurants and a lot cheaper than staying in comparable accommodations in Bloomington. Twin Cities Outlet is a quick drive away and the Mall of America has easy access from Highway 77. Check in was quick at the pleasing front desk. Our room was clean and well kept on our five night stay by the friendly housekeeping staff. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, some hot and cold choices, although I am not a big breakfast person. Parking was a little odd, being beside the hotel, rather than in front but we always found a spot. The hotel has no pool and as a result we noticed a significant reduction of families with children. As a mature couple the lack of pool noise was a bonus. One tip is try to get a room on the front on the second or third floor. The hotel does back a busy highway and if traffic noise bothers you or you are a light sleeper the front will be quieter. We had the third floor on the front and it we had a great sleep each night.

This place is nice, clean, friendly. You get breakfast with eggs and sausage. Bed is very firm. Not what I like, but maybe others like it. Noise if your room is on the interstate side. Sounded like thunder and rain most of the night. That really was the only noise.

I booked the room online thru the Best Western website. When we got to the hotel to check in they could not find the reservation, so I pulled up the confirmation number on my phone. At that point they said that someone else had that reservation but they were able to give the same room (2 queen bed suite). Then since I could not use my reservation they charged $40.00 more than I had booked it for. SO BEWARE IF YOU BOOK ONLINE.

I have stayed here for both business and pleasure in the past. This hotel is geared towards business with two shuttles for MSP. You can schedule a shuttle at check in for an early departure. Without a pool, young kids need something to do and there are not a lot of options within a couple miles. The location is in Eagan so it's less than 15 minutes from MSP and pretty easy to get to off of I35.

Shower water temperature fluctuated from comfortable to ice cold regularly during a 10 minute shower. Replenishment of hot/cold cups, and coffee supplies did not happen over a three day stay. Breakfast Sunday morning was out of stock for 20 minutes with a room full of guests waiting to eat. Housekeeping set the air conditioner to 60 degrees!

I WOULD NOT stay here again!! Despite multiple confirmations, they STILL got our reservation incorrect. The people on the phone were very pleasant when I called each time, but JUDY who checked us in was extremely rude and belongs in housekeeping or somewhere far away from guests!! She acted like she was doing US a favor...our room was supposed to have two beds, we had one so one person slept on the floor. We were told multiple times our room was a certain type and it wasn't. Don't stay here!!! Burnsville Best Western is very close by and a GREAT hotel. Skip this one!!!

Me and my mom went on a shopping trip to Minneapolis and stayed at the Best Western hotel in Eagan. We really enjoyed our stay there, in our room there was good air conditioning and two huge beds as well as a fairly large bathroom. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and we got a free ride with the shuttle everywhere we went. We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and had two rooms and everything was great! We had our kids and some of our foster children along as well. The only downside was there is no pool for the kids to swim in, but that's it everything else was awesome in our minds. Thanks again.

Front desk ppl was nice gave our room little early so far loving our vacation ?? . Room was very clean it's close to the mall of America and restaurants so far loving this vacation. Reasonable pricing if you don't want to spend a lot. Also I loved that they provide breakfast which is good that way don't spend much.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They set up my checkout time for 1 instead of 1130 due to my flight being at 440pm. They made sure the shuttle was there on time to take me to the airport. The room was very nice and comfortable.

Room had no good ammenities. Dirt on walls, uncomfortable bed, poor TV channel selections, old decor. Toilet is small round bowl and runs on its own often. Extremely rude staff. Gave me a hard time forcing me to give them my plate number and when my key failed for the second time to open the door well they didn't even remember me as a guest. Room was 60 degrees upon arrival. Uncomfortable office chair.

We spent 3 nights (Fri-Sun) in this hotel. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place to stay. It appears to be in a quiet neighborhood. It is very clean with friendly staff and they provide a good breakfast. It does not have a restaurant but there are a few good ones just a few steps away. The only negative is that they don't have a pool.We would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

Stayed at this place for a wedding over the past weekend. Rooms were nice on arrival, and the lobby looked really nice. Breakfast area was disappointing compared to competitor hotels in the area. Food was also below average compared to other hotels in this price range. Also not happy that housekeeping didn't clean my room for the second day. Overall average experience for the money spent.

Easy airport pickup- only a 10 minute wait; prompt check-in with paperwork all ready there when we arrived- appreciate that we were greeted by name (though it was 1 AM), comfortable and clean spacious room. with plenty of pillows. Breakfast was good- restocked as needed. Return trip to airport was timely. Definitely will stay there again on next trip.

Excellent hotel for accommodation. No Pool or recreation facilities, although there is a fitness center, but for high value accommodation in the area it is top notch! Good breakfast area, clean rooms, helpful staff all lead to a positive experience.

Late night stopover on our way across the country. No prior reservation - just popped in. The check-in staff was very pleasant and assured our best rate. Great, quick night's stay with an excellent breakfast to get us back on the road.

We had high hopes that this is going to be a place we could depend upon for occasional flights out of MSP airport. The location isn't too bad just off Highway 35E, and the price was a reasonable 170+ tax for the night and seven days of parking. It was $10 a day plus tax for each additional day--we were gone for 10 days total. Somewhere in the description of the hotel it mentions a quiet night's rest--not so! Our ground floor was right next to a noisy road--this won't do with my wife's supersensitive hearing. The replacement room was much better and had a nice bed. I specifically phoned in a 3:45am wake up call but never got one--thank goodness for my iPhone alarm. The simple cold breakfast we got before they opened up was as I expected, but it was fine. The clincher was on our return...Jan at the main desk sent the van driver to the wrong airport to pick us up! It was a 45 minute wait from the time I called once we got our bags. By then all area restaurants were closed for the night. Very disappointed--won't be back.

Just got done working out at the hotels gym and I am super happy with the equipment! Not only is the cardio well appointed but they have a cybex type machine. Excellent Room was nice and large. Tv selection was extensive and whole hotel very quiet. Had to call down several times and the front desk answered on first ring. Beds are comfy and room has all the accruements. Food and shops are all close by and the ban will take you to the mall of America... Only negatives: No ice on the floor, no hand wash or fresh towels in the gym, and van only runs on the hour and halves... These were minor otherwise super spot to stay. Definitely a recommendation!

Great hotel. Looks new. Competitive priced. Close to conference place and shopping and restaurants. Would stay there again if in the area. .Breakfast at 6:30 did not include hot items, which was a disappointment. Coffee was strong and only luke warm.

We arrived at the airport at 11 pm, we were quickly picked up by the shuttle and settled in our room before midnight. Had a great nites sleep - very quiet - even when we got up at 8 am! Only realized there were others on our floor when we road the elevator to breakfast with them. Would gladly stay again! Thanks for the great service & nice place to stay!

Rude staff seemed annoyed to have to answer questions. Shuttle driver was extremely rude as if it was an inconvenience to pick us up at the mall and bring us back to the hotel. Hotel was clean and nice but when you dont feel welcome it makes you never want to come back to this hotel.

Warm very warm, put on air conditioning but took hours to cool the room down to tolerable. I chose not to report the problem because I didn't want to repack my belongings. The check-in was very smooth and pleasant. I chose the hotel for the park/stay and fly option.The shuttle in the morning was very timely and efficient.

Very good location for airport and mall of america, great shuttle service provided. Housekeeping department needs a little more working on, One day , did not come to room at all...no clean towels or amenities. Overall, enjoyed my stay.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at! Rooms are nice and big in size, always clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle service for free which is a great extra and the driver Kelly is always so nice and professional. The breakfast in the morning is nice with hot and cold items, love staying here when in Eagan

This was my first - and likely my last stay - at this hotel. The room itself was pretty standard. The bed was nice but very stiff. The remote was hard to use because it was falling apart. The shower water pressure was weaker than a 7th grader. Oh, and the breakfast was a joke: fake eggs, chewy sausage, and not much more. The waffles were ok. There was no fruit, no yogurt, and the bread for toast was gone. And I've had better coffee from a gas station (Holiday and SA). If you want a better "free" breakfast", steer clear of this place. (I say "free" because we all know it's just rolled into the price of the room.)

I typically stay in Eagan when I visit the twin cities as its close to the airport and everywhere I have to go. The Best Western has some of the newer room interiors in the area, Wifi on the 3rd floor is a bit weak and therefore slow

Location: The location was perfect for my needs as I was going to a training just a few minutes across the highway at the community center. My one complaint with parking on the property is that I had to park a bit away from the entrance, along with an adjacent business. In other words, the lot was full of vehicles that were either parked there for work for the day or they were frequenting the businesses surrounding it. The lot was nearly full when I arrived and I had quite a trek to lug my baggage to the back entrance. Once inside the hotel again, I had to lug it all the way down to the front desk, again, to access the elevator. Then up to 3rd floor then down the hallway to my room. Service: The gal at the front desk who checked me in left much to be desired. Not very personable; no explanation of breakfast, parking (other than pointing out the window, thumbing me in the general direction), sliding my key across the desk and announcing my room number rather loudly (this bothered me as I was traveling alone and there were several people within earshot...it's a safety concern for me). Price: This wasn't the most expensive place I could've chosen, nor was it the least expensive. I chose this one based on location and quick trip to my training. One thing I found incredibly odd was the housekeeping envelope on my nightstand. It basically told me if I enjoyed my stay to leave a tip in that envelope for the staff. It did not say who the staff was, it was blank. I am always on the fence with this type of thing. On the one hand, pay your staff a good wage and do not make them ask for a tip. On the other hand, if you room/stay was above and beyond, then definitely leave something extra. However, I do not blame housekeeping staff for the way the room was, it was clean and fresh. The other things that were wrong with it are a maintenance issue, not the responsibility of housekeeping. However, I did not leave a tip as the cost of the room should include that in it and there was nothing that was beyond my expectations to deserve one. Room: Upon entering the room, it appeared fairly standard. Large enough for one person, all the amenities one would expect. I do have a hearing deficit and was surprised that I could hear traffic. At first I just chalked it up to the time of day and how busy the highway was. I had a room directly facing the highway. I figured once it got closer to evening and folks were home, it would quiet down. I was wrong...it didn't, but I soon discovered why. I also took pictures of this to show what I am trying to describe. On the AC unit there were large holes, not only could I see directly outside, I could hear the loud traffic and got quite a chilly breeze. For the first time ever I figured out that the decorative throw on the bed would make a great barrier on top of the AC unit to block the cold air and lessen the sound coming through. It worked fine and I left it there overnight. The shower was good, I loved the built in shelves to hold shampoo, conditioner...etc. However, the tile on the floor was so broken and cracked that it nearly sliced my foot when I went to turn on the water. So I used the bath mat along with a hand towel to protect myself from it the rest of the stay. I did take pictures of it because I feel it's fair to show rather than just try to guess from my review just how bad it was. If I had been traveling with my husband (he is diabetic) or children, I would have insisted on moving due to it being so unsafe. Amenities: Typical refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot...etc. All were very nice and worked perfectly. Dining options: Lots of good restaurants near by, I searched the internet for some local food and found some poor reviews of a nearby restaurant that I had hoped to try, so I used the recommendations from the book in my room and ordered food from Sarpino's. I was not let down, I ordered online from my phone and my food was delivered by a kind gal; piping hot pizza and yummy chilled cheesecake! It was delicious!!! It was the highlight of my stay there, I recommend it. They were doing some construction to this hotel during my stay but I really have no idea what exactly they were working on, although I was never bothered by any noise or dirt from it. There is no pool at this location, keep this in mind if you are looking to swim or lounge.

The stay was for business and the front desk was accommodating and very professional. The shuttle service very accommodating. Nearby Sushi Restaurant was awesome. Quiet Rooms I Work at night days were quiet.

We stay here every time we travel. We do the park and ride. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the shuttle is awesome. We never have to wait to long to get picked up from the airport when we return. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Also, we have flown out really early a few times before the breakfast starts and the staff always has stuff out for us even at 4:00 a.m.

We have used this Hotel now for 2 yrs in a row as we had a lay over back to Michigan. This hotel is really wonderful and close by restaurants also. You can order from right across the road or walk there. They also have a wonderful continental Breakfast also which is very good, We also take there shuttle bus back to the airport. No complaints from us we love it

We stayed here for a night early March 2016. Got a good deal here thru' priceline. The hotel lobby has a pleasant feel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows weren't the best but okay. Good continental breakfast. Room wi-fi worked perfectly. My only complaint was the top blankets in the room had extreme static. Was scary... Could literally see the sparks every time any of us touched it. Once we removed them carefully and put them in a corner in the room, we had no issues. Something they need to check on because people do use the room's heater option during winter. I love Eagan and so I loved the location.

We stayed here the night before leaving for Mexico out of MSP. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The shuttle drivers were enjoyable on both trips - to and from the airport. They were on time too!

The location for this hotel is great if you are in the area. Very close to 35E and other shopping and restaurants. This was my first stay at this hotel and I found it to be extremely comfortable and economical for the price. However the best part of this hotel is the friendly front desk staff who are committed to making your stay so enjoyable. The room was comfortable and I was grateful that they had a "constant fan" setting on the heat/cool system in the room. One suggestion would be that if you are sensitive to noise to ask for a room not facing the freeway. For me, the constant fan drowned out the noise from the freeway. Other than that, if you are looking for a comfortable no frills hotel that is very convenient with great service - here you go!

overall I would say it's a good hotel to stay at. Hotel shuttles you around the immediate area and airport shuttle is great. Breakfast was ok to good. Lots to do and lots of shopping around the area. My grandson really liked the waterfall they have in the lobby.

Large hotel located right off 35E and Yankee Doodle Road. Minutes form the airport and Mall of America with shuttle service. Rooms and baths are plenty big and mine was impressively clean and comfortable! (I even went barefoot!!) Bath was nicely designed with counters and tile work and curved shower rod. Water was hot on the spot, no waiting. My room also included a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, although I am not sure this is in ALL the rooms there, but I did not request it. I stayed on the main floor on the back side of the building, which I did find to be a little loud with the traffic all night. Also, the drapes were stapled to the ceiling and couldn't be drawn all the way, leaving only the sheers for privacy and light coverage (ps neon lights across the road are definitely noticeable) There is a small ridge and big slope along the back of the hotel, so it would be hard for someone to peer in... Hard, but not impossible. If muted lights and/or noise wake you, you may want to try the front of the building? Adorable public spaces. Nice planning on this Hotel!

Overall I will say the hotel was very good and the staff is fantastic. They are always very helpful for any needs or questions that you may have. You can tell they know the area, b/c they have recommended some great places to eat and places to go, services are great, but the food was very disappointing. I would recommend this Hotel to others.

The hotel was good with one exception. I was there for business and when checking into my room, the staff had already checked someone else into the same room. I opened the door to what I thought was my room, to find someone else already occupying that room. What if they had been coming out of the shower or changing cloths. This made me uncomfortable when I stayed as well as they could check someone else into my room too. I was only there on business not with my family, or I probably would not have continued my stay at Best Western Plus Dakota Ridge, Eagan MN

This is a nice hotel , very close to the airport, rooms are nice, everything works, they have direct tv, Breakfast is a problem, always the same it never changes, which makes it hard if you spend multiple days there. I have mentioned it a few times , so lets see if it makes a difference

We stayed at the BW Plus Dakota Ridge mid-flight on the way to vacation and on the way home. The shuttle and the drivers were great as were the front desk clerks. General Manager Jason made special accommodations for our travel needs. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

We had a very nice stay and would recommend this hotel. We traveled without kids so no pool, restaurant, bar was OK. This kept the price down. The shuttle service and staff were very good. Good location to shopping, airport.

We checked in late so we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel other than sleeping, but we have no complaints about our stay. The staff was very nice and more than willing to help. The room was clean, quiet and very nice. Couldn't really ask for anything more.

My main concern with my first stay here was the extremely loud heating unit in the room. The only way to sleep or watch TV here was to turn off the heat. The TV also had problems with the picture being too dark and no settings to adjust it. The closet door was off its track and did not work properly. This hotel had no maintenance staff during the weekends and there was no way to fix these problems.

Wonderful Staff and Hotel. Shuttle will take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius which includes the Mal of America and surrounding stores and doctor's offices. Hot breakfast is fee and plentiful with waffles, eggs, sausages and fresh fruit, coffee and juice.

Very well located for trip to Eagan, MN. Staff very helpful, van service to local areas available and transportation to airport as well. There are restaurants nearby which would be walkable in good weather or you can request a van ride to this area.

Dakota Ridge is a great place to use for Park and Fly if needed. They are always accommodating, helpful with shuttle service time recommendations, restaurant recommendations. Excellent continental breakfast with great variety for the early traveler. Staff has always been helpful and happy!

I recently stayed at Best Western Plus Dakota Ridge before my trip to Jamaica. Check in was great. I have stayed here several times before I flew out of MSP. Rooms are clean and roomy. Flight got back 10pm Feb. 7. Shuttle driver was absolutely teriffic. He was warm and funny. I will be back. If this review was helpful click the "helpful" box below.

We use this hotel for their park n fly. We stay the night prior to our trips and they shuttle us to the airport and pick us up when we return, The beds are very comfortable. Good breakfast included. The shuttle service is good.

The rooms are clean. The breakfast was very good. Most of the motel personnel were nice. We had a very bad experience with the motel clerk during check in. "There is only one chance to make a first impression." I was so frustrated after that experience, it put me in a pretty bad mood for quite a while.

Hotel is nice , staff is helpful , breakfast is very repetitive , the need to change it up a bit , everyday the same, small sausage, Eggs, waffles....over and over .. rooms were clean , maid seems lazy everyday bed was made up like a 5 year old would do...location is 10 min from the airport, easy to get to, lots of places to eat and a Wallmart very close.all in all good value

Wonderful airport shuttle service and I love the park/fly option. However, make sure that you call the Hotel to ensure that the option is available during your stay. Location and lobby are very nice. Rooms could use a little work but definitely not bad. Staff were wonderful and helped our vacation get off to a good start. Love the continental breakfast!!

My daughter dropped the car off before she flew from MSP and I picked it up after flying in. I arrived late at night, phoned the hotel for the shuttle, and checked in. Everything was very easy. I had a pleasant night's sleep and drove home. Staff was friendly and professional.

We used the park and fly, to a ocean getaway, so no pool was fine. The staff was wonderful. Before I booked I called to learn of places to eat. Thumbs up. I had some difficulty getting wifi on my phone, they were great. next morning there was some breakfast, but at 4am I didn't expect anything. Arriving back, Jodi, (I am terrible with names, so...) answered the phone when I called for a ride. Perfect instructions to get me out of baggage and to the hotel van. If you stay here, my suggestion for food is wildcat bar and grill. 3-4 minute walk, perhaps. I will be reviewing this also. at a excellent rating. Now a bit about the room. 1st, if you like shower gel/body wash bring your own. I can be very critical. It passed. A note however to the bathroom designer. The tile work/color great. The location of the ceiling light, leaves the shower quite dark when the curtain is pulled.

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was on time with food consistently refilled. For other meals if willing to walk in snow had four restaurants next door with several more in less then two miles by car. Easy access to the interstate. Train station was in walking distance never used it but available.

This hotel was clean, updated, and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We had to take a 4:30 am shuttle to the airport and they provided us with breakfast early. We walked to a nearby Mexican restaurant that was delicious !

Very pleased with our stay. We prefer to stay at suites for the room and comfort, but the price of this hotel was so reasonable, we decided to give it a try and we were very happy we did. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the room was comfortable and clean with a nice decor. There were many restaurants nearby from which to choose, and access to 35E was a block or two away. The breakfast bar was one of the best we've come across. We would definitely stay here again.

I can't think of a negative thing about my stay at this hotel. Everything was top notch. I have stayed here in the past and I will stay here in the future. It is the only hotel I choose when I come to the twin cities. I am never disappointed.

Been here many times just good place to stay clean and easy acess to airport. The place is quiet even on lower floors so getting a goo night sleep is not an issue. Proximity to shopping is good. The shuttle drivers have been very intresting to chat with

Convenient to airport and family gatherings. Easy check-in and check-out. Breakfast buffet was usual for this type of hotel. Grew up in this area and great to see old stomping grounds. Close enough to downtown and great restaurants.

We needed a handicapped room and got one with a great, safe bathroom. My husband said this is the best bathroom we have ever had in our travels Lots of safety bars and a walk in shower with a nonslip floor. The shuttle to the airport at 4 a.m. was fantastic too! There was no charge for that, but I did tip the driver. Our room was very nice and the beds were comfy. Nice desk to work at and plug-ins where you need them. Also had a frig, micro and coffee pot. Or room was nice and quiet (room 53, I think). The staff member at the front desk was very pleasant too. I will stay there again!

I am not one for writing negative reviews. This hotel, however, was a huge disappointment. My wife ,and I were to stay here for 5 nights. That ended after 1 night. The front desk staff, was completely not competent, friendly or and even antagonizing upon our check in. We discussed with the GM Jason Johnson, the next day. he was very nice and refunded us our night, and said he would take care of the other 4 nights with EXPEDIA. He did. Expedia made a glitch, so we had to work it out, all good. he did say he would be sending us some gift certificateS in the mail for , I presume was free stay. It never arrived To be fair he claimed he mailed it out. So, he asked for our email, and he would get right on it. That was a week ago, nothing again. NO big deal, however his word is what I respected. I did mention to him in our talk at the hotel, I post to trip advisor,and did NOT want to post a negative review. YES, it was that bad. He asked me not too. I said I wouldn't. I mean, he did make great amends, and promises. NOW, things have changed. NO, I would never stay hear again . It ruined our vacation. The rooms were older and very tired, as was the hotel . NEEDS a revamp. The front desk staff we had dealt with was horrible, and Jason agreed as well. But , the way i see it...you agree to something with the customer, you go through with it. It is on principle. Folks, there are many beautiful hotels in the Minneapolis area...this just didn't add up. Pay the extra money, and get a nicer place. It will be well worth it. I do commend the GM, Jason , for trying his best. BUT ya have to follow through with all of your promises. Thank you Jason, for taking the night off our bill.

We love the Dakota Ridge Best Western. The staff are the best! They are genuinely happy to see us and everyone remembers us from year to year. The rooms are always clean with plenty of amenities. The shuttle service is another great asset!

Nice place to stay, housekeeping needs supervision, the breakfast cook needs a lesson in changing things up. Other then that. nice staff, good location 10 min from the airport. Ive stayed here several times , usually pretty good value for your buck. Close to fast food, Wallmart, Starbucks.

The hotel is located in an easy to get to area. The hotel was nice on the inside and outside. The room I had was clean, updated and quiet. It also had a decent complimentary breakfast and exercise room. I would recommend this hotel to any business traveler or family as the value is great for what you get.

We were there for a sporting event and everything went very well. The staff was awesome at giving us directions, explaining things, and giving recommendations for bars/resturants. They made sure we had everything we needed.

Disappointing destination for children. Conveniently located close to shopping and other activities. Lobby smells of chlorine - from decorative water fountain - deceptive as one thinks there is a pool upon entering!

Close to the airport close to the mall of America good food nearby not much more you could ask for television could be a little more user friendly not that many stations to watch a little more to offer on the tube would be appreciated quiet and peaceful hotel clean and in a safe area would recommend to anyone traveling in that neck of the woods

We stay here as we travel back and forth to Florida from our home in northern Wisconsin. They are very nice and accept our pet cat. They have a 24 hour shuttle to get us to the airport for early flights. there are several good restaurants within two blocks of the hotel.

We have stayed here several times. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, and the airport. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Friendly front desk people and maids. Close to everything in south metro area.

I've got mostly very good things to say about this hotel. Not particularly cheap - but, then again, this is Minneapolis and bargains are tough to find. The reviews that I had read were, for the most part, very good and I will echo those sentiments. I was given a first-floor room for my brief (8 hour) stay. It was totally adequate of not dazzling. For a hotel near a major airport and close to an interstate, I found it to be very quiet. The bed was adequately comfortable even though the linens were of only average (or slightly better) quality. I did sleep well, found no critters, and did not notice and foul odors or air freshener covering up odors. The carpeting is somewhat tired and could use replacing. But it wasn't all that bad. The bath linens, like the bed, were decent but your typical run-of-the-mill hotel quality. Nothing impressing but far from objectionable. The people were quite nice. Also, the airport shuttle runs every half hour on the half hour so it was no problem getting a 4am ride to the airport. And the shuttle driver was extremely pleasant and personable. Bottom line: I would certainly stay here again, and probably will.

I would have thought by now that all major hotels would have pressure compensating showers so that every time somebody turned the water on or flushed a toilet you didn't get scalded or frozen. Apparently some places still haven't caught on that something like that is possible. Other than that, the room was fine while the front desk people were very friendly and helpful.

I spent 5 nights at this hotel, everything was absolutely great, the people who worked there, the room and its amenities, the location and the great breakfast provided, good food and plenty of it. The lobby was beautiful with the huge waterfall, seating accomodations and helpful attention of the staff.

This is a nice hotel especially since we were traveling with our dog. They had us on the first floor which was nice for taking him out. The beds were very comfortable and the fridge cooled everything off quickly. One down side was breakfast didn't start until 7 on Sat. but we had to leave by 7 to get to the dog show. They did have a few items out though.

Great Place to stay, rooms were updated, comfortable, clean, staff was friendly from the desk to the shuttle drivers. We stayed as a park-n-fly option and it is reasonable in cost along with accomodating to our flying schedule. close to the MOA and the airport , many restaurants nearby to drive to or use the hotel shuttle.
