Best Western Gwinnett Center Hotel

I stay there for 5 night with my wife and enjoyed there. Breakfast was excellent. Cleanness was there. Staff specially Al was great and helpful. I strongly recommend to stay in this hotel. Location was great and value of the stay was great

A stress-free and relaxing place to stay while visiting the nearby Microcenter and Chinese restaurants and grocery stores. Staying in Duluth avoids the hassle of being downtown. The hotel staff were very friendly and room cleaning was thorough.

Staff was so nice, quick check in, which was good, since it was so late. we were there for business. realized that night that I forgot my toothpaste, they had some for me. breakfast the next morning was great, dining area was clean and staff was friendly as well.

I stayed five days. Overall, the place was better than expected and paid. Outside seems dated, but it was weill mamaged and did not matter once inside. During the time, food changed daily and alternatively with two different choices. Most are good. But, at least one vegan/vegetarian choice needs to be added (I was vegan, so there was nothing much to eat. This was actually true for all hotels I stayed during my travel). Most are good inside even if it should some dates. Room was very quite (probably due to facing the other side of highway?), the bed was comfortable - these are most important to me and probably most of guest. I would stay here again if I travel to Atlanta and recommend others. I also experienced issues during the stay, but they were all minor and resolved.

Rooms was clean and smelled clean. Friendly staff up front. Could tell the sheets was freshly washed. Breakfast could use more section. Very limited. Other then that. Definitely would stay again. . . .

As many years I have traveled around the country, this is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed. But one important factor of this is that the same staff are exceptional and that is why I choose this hotel not only for clean place but the friendlyness of the staff that I call friend.

The staff were helpful and pleasant. We needed some extra assistance and it was provided without hesitation. Working nights in the area meant an extra level of effort with a quiet room. Area and rooms were quiet day and night. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

We always love staying at this hotel :) hotel staff is always super friendly and goes above and beyond. AC in the rooms are nice and cold, beds are comfy, and breakfast is spot on. We also always love swimming in the pool.

I needed a quick overnight stay due to flight delays. The staff were very accommodating to my needs considering the timing. The room was clean and tidy, breakfast was decent. Everyone was nice and professional.

The hotel is run down even in the renovated areas, poorly done work. Beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows are flat as pancakes. Staff was ok a bit stand offish, but checking was awkward because it felt like they didn't know where to put us.

Horrible customer service and as a new BSW reward member, I don't recommend this facility. Front desk clerk and management blame things on each other and nothing is resolved without bringing in Customer Support.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were great - we needed extra towels as the maids had only left one bath towel and they sorted us out immediately. The beds were super comfortable and we had a nice peaceful sleep after a long day on the road. It is in a good location and easily accessible to lots of good restaurants and amenities. My gf had a heart attack and required surgery on the first day we were supposed to spend the weekend together. The front desk manager was very helpful in extending our reservations to an easy access room for my gf to comfortably recover!

Great stay. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Reasonable rates and convenient location. Close to Northside hospital and great restaurants. Manager Corey Rucker was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

I've stayed at this hotel several times in the last 6 months and I've yet to have any problems. The rooms are sparkling clean, breakfast is hot and fresh, and employees are kind and attentive. You really can't beat it for the price and location. Well worth the drive into Atlanta for affordable accommodations.

Evening check in requested no ID then proceed to give me keys to a room already occupied. Left occupied room key on counter for worker, came back to check out after finding roaches and key was still on the counter. Worker did not care about anyone safety or well being. Roaches in rooms and dingy bathrooms. Elevator wasn't working, had to walk up three flights of stairs With luggage and a child. Checked out and went across the street to Fairfield Inn.

This place is great great breakfast and all the employees go extra miles they are friendly and welcoming I stayed at other best Western and did not offer this service .. which makes it worth more to me

So I called to book my husbands appointment and they stated that all they need is a card to hold the room and then I can pay cash as my husband gets there the manager states they don't have cash don't trust a word they say

2nd floor undesirable smell in hallway going to room. Also dried contact lens in bathroom floor. Breakfast was well stocked and dining area appeared clean. Staff in breakfast area could be a little more generous with smiles!

The staff was very rude and got annoyed when asked questions. She charged me twice, but told me to talk to the bank without any apologies. When I told her I had to dispute one of the transaction, all she said was “that's fine”. I paid $137 for one night, but the room was just okay and my room was near the door so I could hear people come in and out all night. Breakfast was okay. *It was not an authorization charge. I used a different card for authorization and the card I am referring to was charged twice. I have talked to the bank.

This hotel, very unassuming where it sits, tops the charts on cleanliness, friendly staff and a warm, inviting environment. The rooms and property were spotless and the beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable. If you're traveling and have to stay at a hotel or a Best Western, this is your place. I also appreciated the windows that slid open, as it was breezy and cool outside during the stay and I was able to enjoy the cool air and outside without having to leave the room. Top pick for the area, actually, beats out all other Best Western properties from SC to Macon.

Outside doesn't not look as good as the pictures, was a little nervous about our stay, but Everything was great had no problems at all. Breakfast and staff was amazing. It was all to our expectations!

This is a pleasant hotel to stay, it was our 2nd time there. It is convenient to our location, and to Stone Mountain. We enjoyed the flavored iced water and fresh coffee always available in the lobby, as well as the hot breakfast bar each day. The front desk staff are courteous and friendly.

My bed fell on day two. The second room had ants. The third room had a dripping sink in the bathroom. Each time we were forced to move, no assistance was provided by the hotel. Overnight, the staffing is woefully inadequate despite the hotel being sold out each night of my stay. When the problems were reported to the front desk, and the front desk said the manager would contact me regarding the problems, I never heard from the manager. Three rooms with three problems in four nights. And the staff chose not to clean the room one of the nights.

First Best western I've stayed at, & I can honestly say it was the best experience. Whole staff was amazing, Front desk was very sweet & funny I don't remember her name but I do remember her nice purple hair LOL. Housekeepers were amazing, as well as the breakfast. Definitely will be staying here again!

I have stayed at many hotels, but this one is cleanest, with great staff - especially the front desk. You can tell it is a top down approach to provide exceptional service to their guests, and I highly recommend this location!

My wife and I have been traveling from San Jose, CA to Charlotte, NC. This is our last night on the road. We were very pleased. The staff is great! The room clean. The bed comfortable. The hotel quiet. We would highly recommend this Best Western!

First, the staff working here are so friendly. We asked for a pizza recommendation because were were hungry and tired from our travels. The place they told us was delicious and delivered right to our room in less than 30 minutes. The staff definitely make you feel very welcomed. Perfect! When we got into our room, we were very pleasantly surprised. We did not need anything fancy, and this was not a super fancy room. However, it was much nicer than I expected. The ceilings were pretty high, so it even felt larger than it was. The bathroom was large enough for two of us to easily use the vanity area at once. The closet is hidden behind an enormous mirror. My daughter loved that! Inside, there are plenty of amenities: hair dryer, coffee maker, desk, TV, toiletries, fridge, microwave, iron, ironing board, alarm clock with outlets for your charger, etc. The bed was so ridiculously comfortable. There were three pillows on each double bed. The wash cloths and towels are very thick and absorbent. The water pressure was nice. Our room was on the first floor right by the parking lot. I liked that I was able to park right outside the window. I could easily keep an eye on my car. I was worried that we would hear so much noise. I never heard so much as a car door close or people talking outside although the parking lot had lots of cars in it. It was great! Inside the hotel, we never heard another hotel guest. Occasionally, we would hear a door close. The auto-locking hotel doors are so hard to close quietly! We never heard people talking or walking around. There was not any noise from any guests above us either. I am a very light sleeper, so I always turn on the loud AC fan to drown out any extra noise, but we never had to worry about it. I was amazed. The hotel grounds are nice and clean. Although we were able to quickly get to all the places we needed to go, the hotel has a feel of being in an area that is not very busy. It is easy to access. The road is not very busy, so getting in and out of the hotel grounds was never an issue. Don't get me wrong, you are not in an isolated kind of place. It felt very safe and quite a comfortable area. I hate to leave a good review because I don't want this hotel to be so busy that I can't get a room in the future. I will be back to this hotel. We make almost monthly trips to the area, and we have found a new hotel. Stay here and you will not regret it.

My stay at Best Western is always relaxing and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and their to help when I need the . Morning breakfast is amazing. A bunch of different options to choice from: it's delicious!

So my boyfriend and I had worst stay ever I must say being woken up by BED BUGS at 3 o'clock in the morning was the absolute worse. We took pictures and videos of the bugs and his bites!!! HUGE BITES! We went down to the lobby and told the lady she immediately called her supervisor and stressed to her our frustration. The situation was handled very well. The cleanliness of the room was very very poor. We only had room service ONCE out of the 3 nights we were there. The elevator took forever to open. The room would shake from them doing laundry for hours at a time, our tv kept glitching and the room didn't smell good at all. Our shower was peeling from below us. The pool was freezing cold and it was no direct sunlight hitting it. The only good part about the trip was nice staff and free breakfast. Apple juice was very delicious. So if you want to sleep with bed bugs be THEIR guest. At least they are nice and you get free breakfast.

Ms. Kim, the General Manager was delightful. She was so helpful at check-in. She allowed us to check-in early. Rooms were fabulous. Breakfast was wonderful. Ms.Kim was there welcoming guests by name at breakfast. Really enjoyed my stay.

My overall experience at the hotel was good. It seemed very clean the breakfast was good. However, on the morning of check out I went into the bathroom and saw a roach on the wall. I was happy I was checking out.

The rooms were extremely clean. Hotel in a great location & close to the interstate. Requested toilet flapper to be repaired & it was not honored. Price of hotel not bad and the breakfast was phenomenal.

Room quality, cleanliness and safety was very good for the price paid. The staff was very helpful, both at the desk and the breakfast area. The area surrounding the hotel looks and feels safe and is quiet despite being not far from a high-traffic area. The only issue I had was the wi-fi connection being down early in the morning.

My wife and I were the past weekend, the hotel is cozy, clean and good in general terms. The neighborghood is quiet and safe. The only thing, at least for us, to improve is the scrambled eggs (too salty, even more than the bacon itself)... but is a silly thing compared with the other good ones. The green practices are OK, but the soap was changed despite it was under use and not finished; they could save time and money asking to the costumers if they want towel change, for example, "let the towels on the basket if you want to change it, otherwise isn't necessary to change them everyday... again a silly thing against the good ones. I booked this hotel for my son just last weekend, & according to him, it was a good stay. However, & this is of utmost importance when choosing a place to stay; the customer service was top notch! Front Desk Representative, Ms. Ikeisha was awesome! As she was juggling the phones, and guests at the desk, she never once lost her professionalism. I will definitely book here again (for my son), as well as for myself based on the superior service received from Ikeisha. It's as though I felt her smiling through the telephone.... Kudos BW, you have a gem of an employee at this location.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay. I did the early check in from my email as we were arriving later than I expected. Our room had the cleanliness sticker on the outside. Inside was very clean. The morning breakfast was ok. There were fresh and package options. The eggs and bacon were disgusting. The eggs tasted like powdered eggs. Gross! But they offered fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast, yogurt, crustables, and microwaveable options. They even had a make your own pancake station. The staff was nice and friendly. No bad guys at this stay. I did hear other guests complaining about kids being loud during the night due to a local track meet. We didn't hear them. Slept well enough. Will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Hotel was easily accessible, clean, and quiet. Room was fine, toilet kept running and tub drained slow but nothing major. Hot breakfast was really good and made the price so much better because we would've spent almost as much on dining out as the room cost. Would stay again.

Best Best Western hotel in Atlanta area! Great mattresses and good breakfast with eggs, bacon and pancakes even during covid .. helpful staff. Very clean hotel. Much Better than the BW Plus Atlanta-East location .. they do not provide a mattress just a box spring to sleep on maybe that's a covid thing but don't go there! BE Gwinnett Center is Great!!

Decent hotel for price carpet in rooms sticky, exhaust fan in bathroom didnt work. 2nd floor and elevator smelled of pot. Great breakfast lots of choices. Outdoor pool wasnt open yet but its very small

Everything was very nice. Close to I 85 and also 1 mile away from a Costco where I generally gas up. Employees very friendly. Comfortable bed and lots of hot water. I felt safe even though I hate to travel now during Covid

Lots of room in this hotel, King bed with lots of room to walk around it. this was a nice relief from driving in terrible Atlanta traffic. We had originally planned on going to Stone Mountain, but found ourselves in a five-mile completely stopped traffic backup trying to get there. So we turned North to Duluth just to get free.

This Best Western was by far my nicest stay. It was very clean and the night check in desk person was super fast, friendly and accommodating. Super Clean, Super friendly check in staff and super easy to get to off the highway.

Bathroom handicap bars came out of wall. Advised we need a Handicap room with room for two people that were in wheelchairs full time. Room very small and no room to turn and position wheelchairs for handicap person to transfer to bed. Deaf person in party and TV closed caption would not work. Suppose to have a roll away bed but not there. Requested above when reservation was made 3 months before visit. Evening check in person was nice, Staff in dining area NOT.

This hotel was a great value for the money. There are many good hotels in the Atlanta area to choose from, but you will pay a much higher price. We are a couple in our late 50's and early 60's and we have stayed in many hotels in the south over the last 8 years. This is an older hotel that has been updated on the inside and provides a comfortable experience for less. The room was clean and tastefully furnished. The king bed was extremely comfortable and we were able to get a good night's sleep. The bathroom has been updated with granite and new tile in the shower.The shower had plenty of hot water and had good pressure. The only thing we noticed was the towel bar next to the sink was not very secure. The breakfast area offered plenty of tables to sit and eat and the food was good. The coffee was also good. My only suggestion would be a little more variety and fresh fruit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk, Michael, made us feel welcome and was able to give us recommendations for nearby restaurants. This is a well managed hotel. We would stay here again.

Great place to stay. You get your moneys worth here. Great front desk staff to look after your needs. Breakfast was great and there are a number of good restaurants in the near area with great menues. Location is good access to tge I highways. Enjoy this premises and the helpful staff.

My husband had just been released from a rehab facility after a fall in Waco, TX. He was using a walker and found the handicap accommodations to be very good. This hotel was top-notch. Beautiful decor, very nice staff, great breakfast. Conveniently located to I-85 but not into all the Atlanta congestion. We would definitely stay there again.

The room was crowded and the extra seat/chair was shoved into a corner and not usable if you want to look across the bed to your roommate. I think the bed was hard and I woke up sore but had worked out hard the night before my stay. We had two nights stay and found the access to stops to be convenient. The breakfast was the usual "hot breakfast fare" but they had a conveyor belt pancake machine which was fascinating! Freshly cooked bacon and various other carbohydrates.

Overall the room was good, shower worked great with good water pressure. Breakfast was ok. The staff kept up with attention toward people that was there. Clean hotel. I'd advise anyone that travels to Oakwood to check in to this Best Western.

Very nice and clean< The WiFi fast no lagging . Breakfast room is clean the food was hot and fresh. I am a serious coffee drinker and i totally enjoyed the fact that coffee was available twenty four seven

this was a spur of the moment stay I was lucky to get a room because the hotel filled up very quickly,my room was a double but i wanted a queen which was unavailable so the clerk gave me a small discount which was a nice gesture.I'll definitely be back soon.The room was clean and the breakfast was very good.

Beds were tiny and very uncomfortable, the pool was closed when it is still 95 degrees down here. Staff was nice and the check in online feature was good. Will not be back, way too expensive for the location and the room.

This hotel is less than a mile from I-85. It has interior corridors. The room is a good size with a large clean bathroom with tub as well. Breakfast from 6:30am to 9:30am was good with sausage, eggs, fruit, cereal, pancake maker, yogurt, and danish. Has water and coffee in the lobby. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. It has an outdoor pool which was closed. Only negative was a medicinal smell but otherwise a very good stay. Price is reasonable.

Safe place with friendly staff. Will visit again! The rooms are clean. Small hotel in a nice area of Atlanta. I would recommend you stay at this hotel if you are in the Atlanta area. I left some electronics in the main lobby when checking in and the person at the desk, Al returned the bag with all of the items intact back to me.

The Best Western Hotel in Shackleford Rd is the best hotel you will find in Duluth, GA for the price, cleanliness and the breakfast is out of this world, the room are nice and clean, if you ask for anything it's provided right of way, thank you for making me and my wife feel welcomed, will never stay any where else.

They don't have dbl queen beds only dbl full size and I'm a plus size woman that needs room. Other than that the check in and out was great the decor was great the breakfast wasn't a great selection to me

I would like to say MICHAEL, CHRIS, AND KEISHA was the best can not say enough to express how caring and nice they were. Very patient and working with us to make sure we were ACCOMMODATED. front desk staff very friendly, breakfast was perfect, nice size rooms and very comfortable beds. will stay again, we told all the soccer team to stay at this location, and we had 5 of the other players in this hotel, the boys had a great time in the pool and filled up before the game at breakfast.

I had worked all day and then traveled for 6.5 hours. I got in late and the check in was quick and easy. The room was beautifully dressed and decorated. I ordered a pizza and watched a little tv to unwind and fell asleep. In the morning I checked out. The process was again painless. Breakfast was eggs and bacon and the eggs were a little watery. I had toast and jelly. Peanutbutter was on the table as well. I made a peanutbutter sandwich for lunch. It was awesome not to have to stop to buy lunch. On leaving the desk clerk stopped me and said she had something for me. It was a bag of granola bars and water. She said it was a little something for my trip. I know this is a little gesture but it ment a great deal to me.

We stayed at this hotel as a getaway for my kids before school starting. We were late getting back to the hotel both nights. As soon as we stepped out of the elevator to our floor both nights the smell of marijuana about knocked you out. We reported both nights and were told they we sorry but not much they could do about it because they were unsure who was smoking it. We knew what room because they had their window open and you could smell it as you walked by walking in the hotel. The smell was terrible. I will spend my money somewhere else next time.

We needed to book at the last minute, due to a schedule change while on our vacation, and we wanted to use our Reward Points for the first time. When we arrived about 8:30 a.m. the staff immediately recognized our Platinum Rewards status and offered an early check-in, and a late check-out (2:00 the next day). This was a welcome gesture given our change in plans within the last 24 hours. We napped a little in our room, and began to realize our a/c was barely cooling. We were immediately given another room that was perfect. During our stay we never were we treated badly, or unwelcome for using our Rewards Points to book our room. This is why we love Best Western, and remain loyal. We love to tell our family and friends about our BW experiences. Another good one to share now. Thanks to the entire staff at BW for taking such good care of us.

Awesome time, thanks to Michael and staff who were wonderful. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and so kind. My group of 8 had a good breakfast every morning, kids played in the pool, room was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed our stay.

I have stayed at this hotel twice whenever I have visited Duluth. Each time has been a wonderful experience. The rooms are very clean and the staff is helpful. I feel like you get more for your buck here compared to other surrounding hotels. Especially with it being in a busy area like Duluth or the ATL area. Plenty of surrounding food options. The pool is always clean. Rooms are well stocked. I always have a nice peaceful time. The elevator was a bit sketchy but it worked. And there were accessible rooms on the first floor as well as access to stairs. I stayed in room 207. The rooms are the perfect size.

This was a spur of the moment decision to stay here. This BW is convenient to I-85. The grounds were well maintained the garden beds had a very nice appearance. Ikeshia processed us in quickly and efficiently even though we were early. Thanks! The room she assigned us was more in the middle of the hallway on the second floor, but on the quiet side. I prefer to be near the stairwell on the top floor. I asked about groups being there and she didn't know about any. It didn't take very long before several women were knocking on the door across from us. Let's just say they were happy to see each other. Even when they finally went into the room, we could hear the conversation. That isn't the fault of BW, just the guests. The main complaint about this hotel is that the doors are very light and the sound goes right through. We went down to see about changing our room to the top floor. There are smoking rooms on one end. That isn't an option for our family. Michael changed our room to the NS end, facing the back. Only down side- the ice maker. It is Georgia, in the summer, people get hot and want cold drinks. The ice machine isn't quiet and it was a popular item in the later evening and early in the morning. Not so good for light sleepers. Breakfast was fine. We were surprised there wasn't a waffle iron, my preference over pancakes. The pancake machine was kind of neat, though, with the conveyor belt. The pancakes were light and tasted fine. We walked around the area in the afternoon and early morning and felt safe. There is a Home Depot within walking distance and a Sam's Club (no gas station) a short car drive away. My advice for the next reno- put the ice machine and vending machines by the elevator. And get some metal, insulated doors.

Very smoky non-smoking room and hallway. Stayed here 3 nights to go to Braves games...big mistake. Traffic was horrendous. Too far away. We normally stay on the top floor of any hotel we go to because it's usually quieter. We don't want to hear every footstep a person takes above us. We got a non-smoking room on a smoking floor. Does that even make any sense? We spoke to the desk clerk the next morning and she was very indifferent about the whole situation. I asked her if she was a smoker and she claimed yes. Smokers do not understand this. Smoke smells horrible and it effects non-smokers in so many ways. We will never stay here again. PS: I did like the pancake machine, but not when one woman thought is was okay to monopolize the machine and fix 4 plates of pancakes to go before anyone present could get theirs.

We had a wonderful stay at this Best Western. Everyone was personable and helpful. The access to 85 as well as our home office made it ideal. We had four women with tons of stuff. They cleaned around it and we came home to fresh beds and linens every day and a nice clean room. The breakfast buffet was well stocked, clean and managed well. The staff welcomed us every time we arrived. It was a pleasure to stay here and the price was excellent.

The first think we notice as we enter the room was the dump humid smell. Carpets were badly stained. The desk chair was broken. The bathroom in badly need of a grout job. The elevator didn't work properly for our entire one week stay. On the plus side the front desk and breakfast personnel were courteous and friendly. Avoid.

We always stay at the Best Western Gwinett Center hotel a couple of times a year & we never have any issues!! It is always clean, the staff is always attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to stay in Atlanta!

A great area to stay in right off I85 with beautiful decorated and clean rooms at a wonderful price. The service is great from the from desk to breakfast, good parking also. It is our fifth stay and we will ne back for more.

Great location! Well landscaped grounds, great lobby area and clean comfortable room! Room had a fridge and coffee maker. Good lighting. Desk chair wasn't working properly but was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! Bacon was cooked perfectly! Great selection and well stocked! The only down side was the other quests near my room. They were loud and kept going in and out of their rooms! Finally settled down about 1:00 am! The BEST part of the stay was Al Faulkner, the Front Desk Associate! He was dressed in a 3 piece suit, very pleasant personality and extremely helpful! I highly recommend his hotel! Great value!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was clean and comfortable and had a nice breakfast area. It is just as nice as some of the higher star rated hotels we have stayed at. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!! The service was wonderful.

The breakfast is good but the eggs could be better, the employees are very respectful and nice, the carpets need to be shampooed cause the rooms do have a strange smell. But overall I enjoyed my stay.

I don't want to introduce this hotel because when I need to stay here it's often full of guests. Internet speed is good or better. Breakfast is served by diligent ladies, and food is my taste. Location is close to restaurants and grocery stores. For electrical troubles like missing cables or a charger, Microcenter is located near. For automotive troubles body shop and tire stores are also within 30 mins walk.

Clean , quiet and a Very Good Value for your money ! I have stayed at this Hotel for the last few years for about 10 nights a month.. I have not experienced any problems . The People at the Front Desk are Extremely helpful and will help You if they can .

This property is very welcoming. Al is the person that welcomed us and went above and beyond to take care of us. The property seems very well kept. The only down side for us is that we travel in a 40 foot RV and the parking is not accessible for an RV. We parked across the street and had to walk over with our luggage. Other than that, it was great. There are a couple restaurants in walking distance so that helped as well. We were just passing through so we were only there one night.

This Hotel was very clean, nice room....Very Friendly Front Desk Staff. I wish there were Waffles for Breakfast like most Hotels. The area was Great, a lot of Great Restaurants and Shopping. Amazing Asian Market within 1/4 mile.

Great hotel for the money. The staff was top notch, comparable to many hotels I've stayed at for twice the price. I was greeted by name upon returning for the night after work. The location was great for me. I would give the breakfast a B+, nothing fancy, but good for what it was. Ill stay there again next time I'm in town.

Stayed one night while visiting Stone Mountain National Park, approximately 10 minute drive. There were supermarkets, stores and restaurants within 5 minutes from hotel.. Room was clean and provided everything we required.

Seemed to be an ok hotel on arrival and check in was good but when we got to our room, it smelled like cigarette smoke. When I went back down to let them know (didn't want to be charged for smoking in room) I was informed that the 5 rooms next to us were smoking rooms & that the hotel was full & they could not move us. IT WAS AWFUL SMELLING!!! Also overnight 2 cars in the parking lot got broken into and they were close to the lobby. My daughter did not feel safe after that.

My family and I have been effected by the government shutdown and this hotel made me feel right at home! I have a family of 4 and I'm gonna be honest, my daughter can be busy!! The manager Alena, went out of her way to not make my child feel confined with nothing and bought her crayons and a coloring book. If I did have questions or an issue, they never made me feel like I was harrassing them. This was my second stay and I highly recommend. The employees must be treated well because they're all still there with the same smile they said goodbye with. Thank u BESTWESTERN for all your help!

We arrived and were warmly greeted at the desk. The lobby was very nice and the grounds were very well kept. The rooms were nicely furnished and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk was very helpful with anything that we needed or questions about the area. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the property.

After booking well ahead of time at the Best Western Gwinnett, we were told that our room was a smoking room. This would never be our preference, as one person in our party is extra sensitive to smoke. They said there were no other rooms available due to an event happening in the area, but that we could check the room out before confirming our payment. The manager told us our confirmation would say smoking as our preference what we had booked, but NO WHERE did it say smoking on anything attached to our booking. THEN, when checking the room, the whole floor smelled like smoke. AND when we opened our room it was trashed, after check-in time. Towels and dirty linens all over. When asking for a solution, they were very unhelpful. Desk clerk said not to worry, that the room “didn't have smoke IN IT” it was just “a little STALE”. I assume they over booked and just stuck us in the last room that was left, despite us booking ahead of time. Never going here again. We canceled and booked a new hotel on the spot.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Breakfast was all gone by 7:30 each morning so all we got was bad coffee. The room was very poorly cleaned, just like the rest of the property, it was filthy dirty. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car.

We stayed one night and the room was nice, clean, comfortable. It was on the second floor and above the Lobby. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room, which was nice to have. The King Size bed slept very comfortably. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very nice! We were part of a group working at the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center. The hotel staff was great to us. There is not an ice machine on the 2nd floor, so I went up to the 3rd floor(which smelled like a smoking floor, so I am glad we were on the 2nd floor); however that ice machine was empty, so I went down to the 1st floor and finally got the ice I needed. Otherwise, good place. I would steer clear of the 3rd floor if possible due to bad smell(musty-smoky). The 1st & 2nd floors didn't smell bad at all.

Today I saw first hand xcellant service, the night front desk clerk Ikeisha came through the breakfast area, she check to make sure the pancake machine was working, that the kitchen staff was did not need help. This young lady was off the clock but she check on the breakfast, on the guest then she made her way out of the door. Excellent staff, great face of best western Gwinnett. Ikeisha great service, thank you for the greatest God has place within you.

Hotel needs a facelift but the beds were comfortable and our room clean. It smells a bit musty on the 3rd floor, like it used to be a smoking floor. But nothing that the ac didn't fix. Great price. Convenient location.

This location is more like a motel. all of the rooms are outdoor entry. It looks like this place used to be a Red-roof Inn at some point. lots of wooded area to block out the road noise. It was priced fair.

Super nice staff and very clean. Breakfast was great. Had a great stay. Great location. There were lots of places to eat and shop if you needed to. Right off interstate 85 but no noise at the hotel .great!!!!.

absolutely love this hotel but what I didn't like was a man name MARK that work there. He is unprofessional, rude, and thinks he knows everything. He made it absolutely difficult for me to make a simple reservation ! He is so rude and unprofessional he hung up on me and had the nerve to raise his voice. WE the customers are the reason you even have a job but yet you treat them so poorly ? everyone is replaceable! He should loose his job for being rude and disgusting he was even down talking the other employee that work there I don't care if u have been there for 12 years and your other employees haven't they treat these customers with respect and dignity something mark will never learn to do I am taking this to corporate ! Never dealt with so much disrespect in my life ! And I am a regular at this hotel.

The perfect hotel, convenient location with a great staff. Al and Elena were very helpful. and Michael was an angel. He made sure i got to the Josh Groban concert on time. The whole reason for this trip.

This hotel is run down, moldy, and a smokers' heaven. The room was dirty. hair residue in the shower, in the sink and on the desk. the room was smelly too. It was our worst hotel experience. It was 16 of us and we booked it for our 3 day stay for the Catalyst Conference Oct 3-5 2018. The 3rd floor smells like a molded basement and a chimney floor. We stayed one night as most hotel was fully booked and we moved the next day. The staff was not friendly yet when we decided to check out the next day the manager appears and she was ready to address our concern. her staff or herself was not in anyway helpful at 10pm when we where checking in and had all these concerns. This 4 star ratings is a joke! Terrible hotel, not clean and smelly place.

The price for the location was good, and brought back a star for this hotel. It's not that anything was terrible, it's just that none of it was really good. The internet was probably the worst thing - it kept cutting out, but it was pretty fast when it was working. The bed was mediocre. The room was old and in need of some repairs. The shower was decent, but used to be jetted and all of that is falling apart. Breakfast was pretty bad - it was mostly prepackaged things, and while maybe most hotels do this, they at least take them out of the package to make it look fresher. The basic theme was mediocrity that needed a bit of help.

Excellent place to stay & I was pleased with my overall experience. I will definitely stay again & recommend to family or friends. Totally relaxed & comfy room! Please check them out & I promise you will be happy with your stay!

The staff are wonderful. From the front desk to the housekeepers every is pleasant and willing to help. The breakfast needs a little more but it was good for this type of hotel. I only thing i would change is that it has smoking rooms. i would like the the whole hotel to be smoke free.

This hotel is usually okay but this experience however was the worst ! When I entered the room their was spider webs in the bathroom I confronted a worker name Keisha African American lady and she had a bad attitude, this is not the only time Keisha has shown bad attitude treats people who are checking in poorly and she acts like she doesn't want to be there ! Anytime she books one of my reservations it's always chaos because she always screws up people reservations then lies to her manager like it's the customers fault that theirs a issue . And another advice to the manager be more nice and calm to the people that enter best western and don't raise your voice at them it's because of us that you even have a job or is getting paid ! I will never return here

Stayed here the night before a powerlfiting meet--great experience! Breakfast did not start early enough for us to really get to enjoy it, but most people probably don't check out before 7 in the morning!

We checked in late and it took a few minutes for the receptionist to see me. She asked if I was looking for a room and I said I already had a reservation. While using the vending machine I did notice someone in the workout room after hours blasting music, which I didn't think was right. Rooms were large in size and everything looked fairly new and modern. Nice king size bed, very comfy with fantastic pillows. TV got a decent amount of channels. WiFi was strong and seemingly speedy. Shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. No noise issues, plenty of outlets to use. I didn't partake in the breakfast. Smooth and friendly check out.

Most likely not to return. Chargers plugged into wall outlets would fall out, very loose. Bed was hard, pillows over stuffed. Furniture in need of repair, dresser drawers. TV slow in response to changing channels. Breakfast just “ok” we didn't eat there after first morning. Key cards locks took several attempts to trigger lock to open, very frustrating. Front desk gentleman was their saving grace. Probably one of the best I've ever experienced. Very kind, generous, attentive and professional! Without him I'd have given a 1 or 2 star rating.

I don't have much to say, except that I will never stay there, and will gladly stay next door at the Sonesta. Their rooms may be stellar for all I know, but their customer service is without question, the worst I've encountered. Imagine having your reservation canceled due to an error in your card number, and not receiving any notification, then having their check-in staff say “It's not my problem. Next time have enough money on your card.” Lol! If that's not the most unprofessional thing to say, I don't know what is. I hate to say it, but the check-in person seemed visibly more ornery when she saw our race; I'll leave it at that. Stay here at your own risk. They are horribly unprofessional, and quite possibly much more than that.

I stayed at this Best Western for one night as I was traveling with family through Atlanta. The hotel staff was warm and friendly during check in and check out. The hotel room and hallways were clean. However, both smelled a little like stale cigarette smoke. The smell wasn't bad enough for me to complain. The free breakfast was the best part of my stay. The breakfast area was well appointed and the breakfast was pretty good for a light breakfast eater like me. The Best Western offered pancakes, banana nut muffins, yogurt, and assorted fruits. There are many nice restaurants near the hotel for more food choices. Overall, the wonderful staff and breakfast at the Best Western Gwinett were a slightly better than the average hotel stay. My only wish is for the hallways and rooms to smell fresher.

We stayed here the first and last night of our trip. The hotel is is in a nice and convenient location, with plenty of choices of restaurants and shopping nearby. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good with ample items. The price that we paid was very reasonable. We would stay here again if in the area.

I have spent many nights at this location over the past few years and my most recent visit mirrored all of the others. This is a clean, safe property with outstanding staff and easy freeway access. It's located next to a Kaiser Hospital and a Sonesta Hotel property. The room are spacious and well maintained. Nothing fancy but everything is well done. This would be a great place for groups of people. The breakfast is exactly what you think it would. Filling but nothing special with a great staff. The pancake maker is a nice touch.

This hotel was rated a 2.5, but honestly it deserves higher. It was very clean, nicely decorated and the service was incredible!! The breakfast was good too. We felt very at home at would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. The gentleman who checked us in was probably one of the best hotel employees I have ever seen and that says a lot we travel often.

We needed a hotel to accommodate several families for our yearly family reunion. We chose this hotel in large part due to its high Tripadvisor rating. Pros: The rooms are very quiet and even in having a room close to the elevator you don't hear any hallway noise. The compact fridge is an over-sized compact. A microwave is provided too (non-digital). The breakfast was up to par; they had cheese omelets, bacon, cereal, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, and they even had a pancake machine which we've not ever seen. The next day they had scrambled eggs and sausages. The parking lot and surrounding neighborhood is clean. The staff is friendly. The bathroom has good water pressure and a nice size counter top. The rooms were clean but smaller than we thought they'd be. Cons: The one and only ceiling light in the room was burnt out (they had it fixed by the end of the day). When I tried to sit at the desk to use my computer I found myself sliding onto the floor as the chair was broken and unusable (The front desk quickly provided us with a new and function desk chair.) They have a chair and an ottoman set up between the bed and the wall. This was very odd as there is zero room, or logic, for it to be there as it leaves but one inch of space between the wall and the bed. This made it impossible for us to exit the bed on its side as a normal person would. The key cards take 10-20 seconds each time to unlock the door as they scan a chip in the card vs. the old slide in and out credit card style system. This made it difficult to open with your hands full. The sheets and comforter are very thin so we had to ask for extra blankets...This is where things took a turn and not in a good way.... We noticed something was scratching us in the night but we simply believed it to be a tag from the blanket. In the morning we discovered the extra blanket they'd provided to us had a used condom that was melted and fused to the blanket. I'm guessing they didn't actually wash this and must have used a high heat system to "clean it" which caused this disgusting item to fuse into the blanket. That, I got to tell ya, was a disgusting first! In the end, you can't really recover from sleeping with a fused old condom rubbing against you all night. You'd think at least one employee would have seen that prior to giving it to us to use. Thank God our kids didn't use it! The front desk employee was apologetic but really you just can't take enough showers to wash that memory away. Additionally, The pool is small but is a nice size if there are less than six people in it. The dining area accommodated everyone during breakfast. The workout room was tiny, very poorly lit, antiquated, and not of any real use. The screens were off the room's windows which was odd. When we peeked our head out of the window most of the room's screens were laying on the ground. From the look of the debris resting on and plants growing through the screens they'd obviously been laying there for several seasons. The best parts were the quiet rooms and the pancake machine. The worst was the horrible blanket memory we'll undoubtedly now recount at next year's reunion and the workout room.

If you're looking for a decent, clean hotel with super reasonable room rates in Duluth, GA, this is a great place to stay. All but one member of the staff we encountered during our one night stay were very polite, friendly, and helpful. The gentleman who checked us in on Memorial Day 2018 was the best hotel employee I've ever encountered. He took all the time necessary to give us driving directions, local restaurant suggestions, etc... Made us feel very welcome and valued as customers. This isn't a fancy hotel at all, but it's an amazing value. Our room was clean, bed comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers. Breakfast is okay, the usual fare. Coffee is excellent. Good location, easy drive to Infinite Energy Center, shopping, restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great hotel in easy access area for my Atlanta business needs. Manager and staff are excellent. Rooms and beds are fresh and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful . I continue to stay at this Best Western, now in my 5th year.

My wife and I stayed here a year ago and were extremely satisfied with this hotel. This time, it appeared to us that the sheets had not been changed from the previous guests. We obtained fresh sheets and changed them ourselves. The footrest for the chair in our room was filthy. We just covered it with a towel. The person on our desk offered us another room but we declined. Security is nonexistent. Someone was roaming the halls and knocked on our door. I called the front desk and was told that he was too busy. No followup. Also, I observed the front desk vacant numerous times so anyone could just wander into the hotel. This place is a great value and has good points (breakfast) but it is not worth the negatives to me.

Convenient location to highway, and many places a traveler may need to visit. The room had a lot of character! Good heating & cooling, comfortable beds, good shower, heating & cooling worked well, all day coffee in the lobby. Variety of breakfast choices, nice outdoor landscaping. Outdoor Pool was closed due to season which is understandable. Safe neighborhood. My favorite part of this stay was the staff. They were courteous, kind, cheerful, and made us feel welcome!

As all hotels during our recent trip to stay were either sold-out or very steep, we took out chance with Best Western based on reviews and the rate. A very basic hotel but for the money spent, extremely good value. Not posh but clearly no negatives to write-about.. Overall a very comfortable stay !!

This BW was Fantastic! I was in town for a medical procedure over in Atlanta and I always stay in the Gwinnett county area. This was my first time at this property and let me tell you this little gem was nestled off the beaten path and was sparkling clean with outstanding guest service and a very nice assortment of breakfast items. During my stay I briefly chatted with the GM who appeared to be overlooking and mentoring a guest service agent. She was very professional and thanked me for my business. I let her know she could count on my review. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and looking for a clean comfortable stay where you are not just a guest but a valued visitor. Can't wait to visit again!

The location was great! The hotel was clean and well kept. The beds were comfy! Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The breakfast area was very well kept and the food was good. All of the staff were helpful and pleasant!

We stayed two nights on our way south, so that we could spend a day in Atlanta. The hotel was clean, and well located to get down to Atlanta so you don't have to pay higher rates in the city. Our check in was good, we were given the type of room we asked for, and breakfast was good. Our only complaint was that when we returned to our room from Atlanta for the second nite stay, the room was still not made up! It was 4:00 so it wasn't like we got back early. We were very tired and looking forward to a long day on the road the next day, so we didn't feel like leaving the room again when the maid came by. I ended up getting some fresh towels from a maid in the hall and the room was never cleaned. This really spoiled our visit, and kept me from giving this hotel a higher star rating.

Great place to stay as well safe and clean. Staff was friendly and always helpful. One manager was so helpfully he took the time to help plan out places to go and to do while I was at work, there on business, I didn't get his name but I want to thank you. The place was very family oriented.

Our stay was wonderful- room was clean and staff was great. I want to brag on one employee in particular- Al who was at the front desk. He went above and beyond today to help me out when I forgot our concert tickets at home and the business center printer wasn't working. He also provided some awesome recommendations for dinner. He deserves some recognition for his incredible customer service!!

I loved this small hotel. It's tucked just off the main drag, so we heard no traffic noise, but was close enough to walk to several restaurants and stores. The staff was great, went above and beyond to be helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. One bed had a bit of a sway in it, but the other was fine. It wasn't enough to disturb me, probably just a recent guest with a kid jumping on the bed! I noticed no deferred maintenance around the hotel. Breakfast was pretty typical, but offered plenty of choices and lots of protein, and coffee and tea was available all day. They had noted my room location preference when I arrived, and had me in the perfect spot. Every interaction with the staff was positive, and I enjoyed my stay. I'll go back again.

While on a business trip I spent a week in this hotel. The staff was great and very accommodating. The breakfast was hot food as well as fruit and cereal. The rooms were nice and fairly quiet. Plenty of hot water and water pressure. No issues with the internet. There were several other guest that had picked this hotel for extended stay due to easy access to the highway.

Very nice and clean hotel, very close to the mall, very fine eating establisments and minutes away from the old civic center where we were attending a concert. You will be pleased with this hotel and the nice clean rooms and interior. I would recommend it to anyone staying in this area and their prices were excellent compared to similar hotels nearby.

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is lack luster standard fare, but hotel is near many restaurants. I have stayed here previously with my family, and will return again.

This is an excellent Best Western in the area that offers smoking rooms. As long as they keeping offering smoking rooms I will be returning. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable but then again you are asking a retired US Navy veteran who is use to sleeping on a 4 inch foam mattress.

Clean mid level hotel. A fitness room that actually has working strength and cardio equipment, a rarity these days. Breakfast was more than adequate. Some signs of wear but for the price a good choice.

I stayed at the Best Western in Duluth, Georgia, on November 27th and 28th, due to a Conference I was attending. I looked at all the higher priced hotels and thought, "Why should I spend $200/night for a hotel that Trip Advisor rates the same as the Best Western". I am so glad I made that decision! The room was immaculate, the breakfast delicious, the internet top notch, and the staff friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying there again!!

I checked in early. It was a great stay. The staff was courteous and friendly. The fitness room was less than expected, only one treadmill, but functional. The room itself was clean and smelled good. I did not partake of the breakfast.

The hotel and staff were great. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast bar exceeded my expectations with a very nice selection of cereal, pancakes and breakfast muffins. Not to mention the fresh fruit and yogurt. The coffee and tea selection was great as well.

FIRST-RATE FACILITY AND STAFF. "Bang for the buck." If you are in the Atlanta-Duluth area, the hotel is well worth the stay. Nicely located on the northeast side of Atlanta; local venues and areas of interest (shopping and tourist sites) easily accessible.

The only thing I dread about staying in the area is the traffic. The hotel is great, staff is top notch and very helpful. Rooms are very clean and everything worked properly. Bed was very comfortable. The only thing I would like to see different is rooms available with a couch and table rather than just a chair in the corner.

What I expected for the price. I was notified that the room was a 'smoking' room and that no 'non-smoking' rooms were available. I am an ex-smoker, I am used to cigarette smoke, but it seemed a little strong for having been 'cleaned.' I scheduled at the last minute, so I guess I can't complain about not having the option of a 'non smoking' room.

Nice, modern, clean comfortable, nice staff. Went for a couple of days to visit Atlanta sights. Was the most professional staff we have had at a Best Western. Property was very clean and modern. We used points and it was great. Highly recommend this property.

Stayed three nights on excellent rate. Very clean, friendly and helpful front desk staff (especially Al). Very good beds, excellent TV, good cold fridge. Lighting needs improvement -- a bit on the dim side. Shower was the perfect strength and easy to adjust. Wi-Fi speed was decent, and went out intermittently at first; the problem seemed to go away later in our stay. Free breakfast was good, not great, though the famous pancake machine's products were tasty. The only real problem I noticed -- and the reason I'm rating four stars instead of five -- was an issue with an electrical outlet behind one bed. It had a cracked faceplate and flexed the plugs back and forth with movement on the bed, which made the bedside table lights and the clock (which had extra outlets) go on and off. It took a while to figure out what was going on. An isolated problem, I suspect. Otherwise, our stay and this property were both great.

This is my second time staying here. The breakfast was good, the staff is great. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I also had some relatives from out of the country who also stayed here at the same time! They are very picky and they also really enjoyed their stay.

Really nice hotel in the northern Atlanta area. friendly and efficient staff who made us feel welcome. Breakfast was plentiful and our server was polite. Another great example of Southern hospitality!

This hotel Is in a great location there is a Bahama breeze across from hotel and restaurants and shops close by. Great breakfasts and clean rooms . housekeeping went out of the way to give me clean blankets as requested.

Needed a place to stay in mid-October while working on my husband's sister's house in Lilburn. The days were long and exhausting, which made the soft, comfy King bed even better. My husband said it was the most comfortable hotel bed he has ever slept in. There is a shopping mall and several restaurants just a couple of miles away and the hotel is just off the highway. Even so, the room was quiet - we didn't hear road noise or hallway noise during our stay. The Housekeeping staff did a great, thorough job cleaning the room and everywhere else. I rode the elevator with one of the staff members cleaning the walls in the elevator! Breakfast was wonderful and delicious with many options, including a different egg option each day we were there, along with bacon or sausage, pancakes, fresh fruit, and yogurt. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. We made a reservation for our next trip in December- looking forward to our next visit!

Excellent location for an extended stay. Staff was helpful about how to avoiding Atlanta traffic. Close to lots of amenities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with business in that part of Atlanta.

Staff were fabulous, Al was especially helpful. Breakfast was good with many choices. Eggs each day were cooked diffrently, Bacon and or sausage, bagels toast, English muffins, fruit, pancakes, orange juice, apple Juice, Coffee, milk and yogurt. Room was clean and tidy.

Friendly staff make staying very pleasant from check-in to check-out. Breakfast buffet was tasty. Area was clean and neat. Room was clean even with a few minor upgrades going on during the stay. Everything was great.

Our stay was average, BW was installing new carpet on all floors. However there was a stale odor lingering in the air. The breakfast was good. The service of the staff was average. The room could be a little clean ( i.e. dust, odor in room)

Exceptional service; allowed early check-in and finalized a Jan 2018 reservation for 5 rooms at a great price. The internet access and speed made surfing the web for local sights and dining options very easy.

Great room, great bed, very friendly staff and great price....... Beds are very comfortable and rooms very clean and fresh. Check in and check out staff were so friendly and courteous and not in a fake way. Price was a really nice bonus considering several of the surrounding options were quite a bit more. We will be back. We always look for Best Westerns.

Positive: Parking was adequate and well lit. The front staff was very helpful. Checking in was a breeze. The room was spacious and neat. The desk in the room was useful and appreciated. And the flat screen tv was a plus. Checkout was a breeze as well. Negative: The pool was closed. Per the staff, even though it was still unseasonably hot, the pool is shut down after Labor Day every year, no matter what. I had brought my suit and I was excited to take advantage of the pool. (Nowhere online did it mention the pool closing schedule.) The hotel has 3 floors, but the only ice machine that was working was on the 1st floor. ( Of course I was on the 3rd floor.) The hot breakfast was tasty although I don't understand why a hotel in the south would serve bacon & eggs, but No GRITS...(?!) All in all, it's a nice hotel with a hot complimentary breakfast and affordable room rates. I would highly recommend and I have already been back to stay again myself, prior to this review.

This hotel has inside corridors, and is a standard hotel. It is situated right off I85, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were friendly, and housekeeping did a good job on our room each day. The room we ended up with (123) was prepared for handicap accessible. It was small considering this, but a good layout overall. However, the room had an order we could not place. We think it was mildew, and had apparently been a problem for a while- my wife found dryer sheets stuffed in the air conditioner to mask the smell-possibly by a prior guest. We bought some Febreeze at the store the next day and hit the room with it on each day of our stay. I wouldn't ask for this room unless you like to be awakened early-it is situated directly across the hall from the housekeeping Central station. Carts fill the hall outside the door to the room, and the door to housekeeping slams hard Everytime someone goes in or out. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were not. It had a microwave, a fridge, iron and board, large bathroom , as you'd expect in an ADA room, but a standard tub. The tub had lots of helper bars, as did the toilet. I liked the tub, but was curious as to a handicap accessible room having one. That was new to me - usually they have showers. Anyway, on a side note, and related to the odor of the room, they may have a larger issue with the first floor overall: they were professionally drying out the room 2 doors down from us for much of our stay. The heat was turned way up, and they had carpet drying fans set up. It didn't affect our stay, and I was satisfied with our room, overall. Breakfast in the morning is surprisingly good, with a variety of eggs and meats offered daily, and a automatic pancake maker. Coffee is pretty good, and they have milk (2% and Skim), and a collection of juices. The cold options included bagels, etc and yogurt. I would stay here again, but probably ask for another room, on another floor.

Everything about this hotel is great. Friendly staff, great rooms, and breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. I just use the hotel for the basics of accommodation and breakfast. I didn't use any of the other amenities. This is not on the highway so road noise is a minimum.

Easy check in and check out. The staff was very nice and asked about my stay. I love the room amenities like the refrigerator, microwave, and desk. Room and bathroom were very clean. We decided to stay this time because the last time was just as amazing. Great location!

I really liked this hotel. Had a great nights sleep after 20 hours on the road. It was clean and the staff was professional and friendly. I booked on Expedia and had a coupon too. It was a great price on a nice room.

Even with the hurricane Irma evacuees, this staff was professional and friendly. Never missed a beat. The rooms were nice size and clean, even when requesting extra linens and such they were more than happy to oblige.

This by far is one of the best hotel in Duluth, GA for the price, the rooms, the breakfast, location and the friendly and helpful staff, thank you for making mine and my wife stay in Duluth a wonderful experience.

The Hotel and rooms are clean and seemed to be updated. The only issue we had was that we booked a non-smoking room but the blanket had burn marks which was reported to staff. The location of the hotel is great and very convenient for shopping, gas stations and restaurants.

The room was good ,breakfast was awesome they Evan have pancake machine made with a push button,bed was comfy ,room was clean ,although the bed sheet had a hole in it from a cigarette burn,overall was great,check out was easy,only bad thing is one of the family staying had their car window broken in ,and I hope the parking lot have camera,I would recommend parking close the the hotel

This hotel was amazing! The rooms were clean and the staff were so sweet and helpful. Breakfast was nice and hot with several choices to choose from, also the pancake maker was super cool. Lol. The pool area was kept really nice and we enjoyed that. We will definitely be coming back here to stay in a few months and I really look forward to it! I didn't want to stay in downtown Atlanta considering I was going towards South Carolina the following day, so this Best Western location was perfect. The grounds are clean, and there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The front desk was great at check-in, and told me how I could have my bill placed under my door in the morning. I asked for that service. Here is where things start to go downhill. Upon entering the room, there was a long, thick black hair greeting me in the bathroom sink. Against the white sink, it really stood out. How did the cleaning crew miss that? The toilet tissue roll is attached to a metal frame that is inside the wall. When I pulled on the toilet paper, the entire frame that contained the toilet tissue roll started to come out of the wall! Next to the bed, there was a high-back fabric chair that had visible stains on it. These are the kinds of issues I expect in other chains, not Best Western, so it was disappointing to see. But the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked perfectly, the microwave worked fine, the shower-tub was clean, and the ice machine in the hallway worked fine. The breakfast saved me from having to make a separate trip after leaving the hotel, so that was a nice feature. But the bill that was supposed to have been left under my door? Never done. Check out was easy, and I did get points for being a Best Western Rewards Member. I just wish the hotel had rewarded me with a better overall experience.

We loved the first stay in May and came back again in August. Great rooms, friendly staff, the best breakfast we had in years and the price was a great value. Room quality was very nice, great furniture and a wonderful bed for a great nights sleep.

Very good, always stay here when visiting Atlanta. Clean, neat well maintained property. Staff is very nice and goes out of their way. Al rem remembered me from past stays when we made the reservation, then he was working when we checked in.

Clean and nice place to stay. Close to many good restaurants and groceries. although they noted it is within walking distance to Gwinnett shopping mall but it is not possible to walk as there is a bridge and is not accessible for walkers. Easy access to highway. Nice decor, great breakfast. Need more improvement on fitness equipments and there was no anti bacterial cleaner.

Easy to find location, and restful stay at this Best Western in Duluth, Georgia. It is a little out of the way from downtown Atlanta, but it is in a safe location. I enjoyed my comfortable and relaxing night there.

The stay at Best Western was a great experience. The service was exceptional. We arrived to a nice room that was spacious, clean and the bed was wonderful. The internet service was great. The bathroom was spacious for three people and came with all of the perks one need to have a great experience. The hall and the grounds of the hotel were well kept. The food that we had was prepared daily with pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage. The only downside was the orange juice was a little watery. The eating facility is small however there is seating in the lobby which is quite helpful with the overflow. Again the staff made the stay awesome and I would recommend that family and friends stay here. They also had two computers to utilize if you needed to conduct a little business.

The staff are genuine and very nice. The beds are comfortable; breakfast is consistently good and overall quality keep me coming back again and again! Front Desk Staff, Michael and Al, are the BEST and I feel safe here!!!

old Holiday Inn converted to a Best Western. Could tell when you go in the room. However the staff was pleasant and accommodating, facility was clean. Breakfast was okay, could have used a bit of variety on the omelets. Good price, location and facility.

Great Value! Nice, clean, quiet facility and room with courteous staff and good breakfast. This was our first stay at this location and we plan to stay here for any future Atlanta visits especially when we are going to Infinite Energy Center.

Our Bathroom had to be unclogged twice in 1 hour. Front desk never sent anyone to fix the bathroom. we had to ask the housekeeping in the hall to tale a look at it. My kids wanted to use bathroom and we couldn't. Ironing board was messed up would not stand up for anything. Bed was okay to sleep on.

I just recently spent a week at the Best Western Gwinnett Center Hotel and had a great stay. Why the 3 Star rating then? If I could I actually would have rated it the way I wanted to it would be an outstanding 3.5 property, but that's not an option. As good as my stay was this is simply not a 4 star property as they aren't close to the amenities and activities I have long attributed to 4 star hotels. With that said please let tell you what this hotel is: * A well managed property which is perfectly located for the Gwinnett/Duluth/Suwanee area in which I was visiting. Everything was perfectly maintained and clean, including the rooms and common areas. It is located next to the Kaiser Permanente hospital. * A fantastic value when compared to hotels such as the next door Sonesta hotel and all of the other 3 star properties nearby. * This would be a fantastic place to stay if your family/team had an event nearby. The freeway is 30 seconds away. * A decent but not great breakfast with the usual suspects served. A pancake machine is a nice touch. * Great and welcoming staff. Check-In and Out couldn't have been easier. * The shower had a grab bar and bathmat which were a nice touch. I have nothing bad to say about my stay and in fact will be back in a few weeks. It's simply not a 4 star property. Enjoy.

We came with a group for a conference. ALL staff was incredibly helpful and went above & beyond to help us out. Michael made sure we knew the "back" route to the Infinite Center-super helpful! Rachel kept the breakfast coming with 3 groups of teens filing through. All with a smile on her face! We had a couple of issues with 2 rooms and while it was booked solid the first night, they moved us into 2 new rooms the next morning. Beds were VERY comfy! Thanks everyone for a wonderful stay. We will definitely recommend you to other groups when we come next year!

Everyone we met was very nice and helpful. The young man that checked us in gave us great directions to the concert. Bed comfy too. We did use the pool or workout room . Great place to stay if you are going to a concert.

For the price, I don't think you will find a better place. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was nice. We had to leave before the breakfast area was open but the front desk clerk gave us water bottles and let us get some fruit. I thought that was really nice. Very convenient-right off the interstate.

We just needed a hotel for a two night stay in the area. This room was great for the rate and the staff was very courteous. The room was clean, bed and shower were great and parking area was good. The hallways were a little musty but ok. Room size was ok for two people but a little small.

Actually the hotel is conveniently located, inexpensive, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was included with the room and it was not bad. I had two problems, which I don't think could have been fixed had I brought it up with the staff: 1. Wi-fi. I was just recently in Nicaragua and I had better wi-fi service at a hotel in Esteli than I had at this location. The connection kept dropping and so one minute I was logged on and the next minute I was not. I wanted to take care of some business and I had to resort to my iPhone using the 4G network. I went to my parents' house to make sure my laptop could connect to wi-fi and I had no problems there. It was frustrating. 2. Although there was a vending machine on my floor (second floor) there was no ice machine. I had to go downstairs to the main lobby to get ice. And even then the signs didn't show where to go. There are worse problems in the world, but when coupled with the frustration with the wi-fi, it seemed to add insult to injury.

The staff at this hotel are very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. The rooms are spacious and clean. I am adding this additionally because TripAdvisor will not allow me to submit the above without adding additional text, so I added this to satisfy that unreasonable demand. But the hotel is still a great place.

Noisy room, could here neighbors through the wall. Smelled like they tried to cover up the smoking smell. Requested a nonsmoking room. Bathroom had mold above doorway. Did not receive the level of service I have received at other properties.

Excellent staff. The rooms are decorated very warm which makes you fell so comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location. It is near 1-85 and all the shopping!! Even though the hotel was filled to capacity, the staff made you feel like you were their only guest.

Very nice and comfortable beds. I am picky with my bed and I slept great! Great Prices compared to the other hotels just a few minutes away..Saved over $30. I would definitely stay there again..the Breakfast was good. Omelettes / pancakes, and lots of other choices!

My family and I went to Atlanta for all things "Walking Dead" and stayed in this hotel for 5 days. The first time we ate breakfast they had a good selection: scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, a variety of muffins and pastries, etc. The 2nd time we went they must have run out of food. We had a choice of scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs, and one kind of muffin. And it didn't get any better as the days progressed. I rented this room so I didn't have to run out and buy breakfast. Disappointed! The room was clean, although it smelled strange and they kept forgetting to give us clean towels. And people slamming doors at all hours.

I chose this hotel because of it's location near the Red Clay Theater in Duluth and because of the price and good reviews it received on TripAdvisor. I also chose it because of the hot breakfast offered, not continental like many similarly priced hotels. We were not disappointed. It was well run, clean, and we were treated very courteously. The bed was very comfortable.

Fantastic shower, comfortable beds (though I was surprised the 2 beds are full not queen), fully equipped, easy to locate. The included breakfast was stocked with a good variety from cereal to lowfat or nofat yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, to hot pancakes, eggs, bacon. Juices and coffee. My only complaint would be that the carpet in the room we stayed in could use a good cleaning.

Everything was great. Quiet, comfortable, clean and well appointed. What more can you ask? The bed was extremely comfortable as it was firm but had a pillow top that made it close to perfect. The window blinds virtually cut out all light so if wanted to sleep in you could. We didn't because we wanted to take advantage of the excellent free breakfast. The automatic pancake maker was fun to watch too:-)

In town for graduation; conveniently located near family, restaraunts, highway 85, etc. Staff was friendly, everyone gave genuine "good morning", "good evening". Small issue with room, but it was quickly addressed. Will stay again when in the area.

The hotel was very convenient to my friend's house. The hotel check-in clerk was very friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good, except for the sausage patties. I highly recommend this hotel.

My son was rowing in the SE Regionals Regatta in Gainesville, about 30 miles away. I was absolutely pleased with every aspect of my stay at this hotel. I arrived quite late and the guy working the desk was wonderful. Although I had booked the room for 2 nights, I knew that there was a possibility that I would not need the second night. The gentleman explained my options and was extremely accommodating. When I arrived in the room, it was well appointed and already cool/perfect for sleeping! The room was clean and inviting. The hotel was easy to find and super close to the interstate. I would definitely recommend this hotel...as a matter of fact, I recommended it to someone at the Regatta Saturday morning!

This Hotel was very clean and nice, it is located at a nice location. Staff were very nice and helpful. Maria Flores was very helpful. Michael and Elena at the front desk were helpful. The entire staff were excellent.

Overall my stay was tolerable. The staff was very helpful and prompt in getting things resolved, but there was room for improvement when it came to the overall cleanliness of my assigned room. There were two areas of cleanliness that stood out to me: first was the unpleasant smell of the room, and secondly, the amount of dust that rested on the furniture inside the room. I would recommend a more thorough inspection be conducted before assigning them to guest. I had no complaints in any of the other areas mentioned in the survey.

This motel is easy to find off the freeway and set far enough back that even rooms on the top floor are not impended by the sounds of traffic from the nearby freeway. Breakfast was standard fair for a Standard Best Western perhaps a cut above due to the automated pancake maker. Great Value and reasonable prices.

We had a great time. The room was great. The breakfast may have just been the best breakfast I have had at a hotel in a long time. Bed was soft and clean. The front desk was very nice. Kids hated the pool was closed but other than that we enjoyed it. Will be staying there again. Great Job!!

Booked for a business event and noticed immediately there was an error in the dates. Called within 30 min of booking and staff could not be more rude. Would not let me speak with a manager, and wanted to charge $90 to make a change. Will not be back and will ensure my company does not book there again.

A great hotel to relax and unwind. Hotel staff friendly and caring. Beds extremely comfortable and provided a great sleep! Hotel was quiet even though almost completely occupied. Staff really made sure that they did everything possible to make my stay relaxing! Thanks to all, especially Al.

The room was great all I did was stay in the room and worked so I have no complaints about really anything. The only thing I would suggest is a list of restaurants that are willing to deliver to the hotel when you check in.

Even though the hotel was slightly worn it was clean and well maintained. I wasn't there for the warmer months so didn't use the pool, the gym was ok...standard hotel gym. comfy bed, good nights sleep. Breakfast was good, with a friendly atmosphere and staff that couldn't do too much to help. A good place to stay for the solo traveller or family's in a good place for food and shops

Nothing fancy here just a great value and good place to stay all around! Staff were great, breakfast above average, clean, great beds. Didn't use the pool. Heavy retail area and the Asian market down the street was great!

The hotel was close to family and shopping. Good selection of restaurants and a diverse selection of ethnic foods. I saw Asian and Caribbean restaurants within a few miles and had a very good southern meal on my last night. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I had easy access to the printer in their computer center and the PCs worked fine.

We stayed at the Best Western Gwinnett Center Hotel 3/17 - 3/19 and were pleased with our stay. 40 minutes from the ATL Airport & 30 minutes from Vines Mansion venue. Very Clean; staff was friendly and always available. Breakfast was very good. I ended up somehow booking a room with wheelchair access through Hotels.com and when we checked in realized our room was directly across from the lobby. I feared it would be a noisy situation however that wasn't the case. It was very quiet; and it worked out. There is a pool it wasn't opened while we were there. It isn't a very big hotel and parking was always available. The hotel is at the center of all major stores and restaurants and very convenient to get to major highways. When traveling to the Atlanta area we will stay here again.

This is a great hotel. It is exceptionally clean and the staff are all kind and helpful, beyond their job descriptions. I would recommend to everyone. I loved the breakfast. There was a good variety and it was set up well. The ladies stayed on top of keeping the food filled. I was so impressed with everyone's hospitality and with the cleanliness of the whole hotel.

This Best Western Hotel met my travel needs perfectly. The staff was professional and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was all I needed to start my day. I appreciated that it was centrally located and had many restaurants in the area to choose from.

I knew this hotel had previously been another brand. Was afraid it would be only average. But it was WAY above my expectations. From the very efficient and helpful check-in to the wonderful sleeping beds, clean bathrooms, excellent linens, and quiet location. We were facing the back away from the road. I will use this hotel again. It is very easy access to I-85 North or South with 2 ways to exit. Price was excellent and it was sold out over the weekend we were there. We did have a reservation from a couple weeks back so I don't know if the price had gone up that last week. Hot breakfast average. I'm not a fan of those preformed egg omelet things. But they had many choices. Not sure of all the rooms but we only had 2 doubles, not queens in our room. They seemed to care about your business.

We stopped here for the night while traveling to Gatlinburg, TN. The price was very reasonable, the rooms were neat and clean. The morning breakfast was very good and the selection was excellent. The quality of the food served for breakfast is very important to us because it would easily cost a family of 6 over $50 to eat at a restaurant. We even got to meet the famous Al. He broke into a giant smile when I told him I had read so many good things about him here on Tripadvisor. You can take either exit 103 or 104 to reach this hotel.

This was my second stay here. Both have been fantastic. Great customer service, nice lobby, great breakfast, excellent bed, hot shower, microwave, mini fridge. Very restful, very convenient to the interstate. I'd stay here again!

The hotel was in a great location not far from shopping locations. It was very clean and had a great atmosphere. The room was spacious and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

After spending over three hours at Atlanta Airport where the lines were so long visitors were being stacked in nearby corridors, it was a pleasure to book into the Best Western at Duluth. The traffic out of Atlanta was some of the heaviest we have seen and the hotel was a pleasant retreat from the hassle of Atlanta. Nice clean room, with plenty of choice for breakfast. Pleasant and helpful staff. Very little in the immediate vicinity of the hotel but a pleasant retreat in order to take a breather.

We didn't spend much time at the hotel, getting in around 9pm and leaving before 9am. It seemed very nice, they did have a pool on property. Rooms were very nice! Looked recently updated! Only downfall was that they had 2 double sized beds instead of queens!

This hotel was nice. We had to stay at this hotel due to evacuating for the hurricane (Matthew). Staff were pleasant and courteous. The hotel was very clean. I usually stay at one of the Hilton or Marriot hotels. However, they were all booked. This was a very good hotel for the value!

Starting with Al who greeted us when we first arrived. Without a doubt, the most wonderful hotel desk manager I've encountered in many years. He was wearing a 3-piece suit and made me feel like I had a butler...the hotel was beautiful and clean throughout. The room was spotless and roomy; it smelled clean and had great beds and fresh sheets in perfect condition. Free WIFI that was high speed and worked seemlessly -- they gave us the code for guests which they changed and immediately notified us of the change! The free breakfast was great -- a pancake machine that made fresh pancakes, two kinds of sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, omelettes...lots of everything and a very warm and inviting atmosphere. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and I would not hesitate to go back.

we stayed for 4 days here,& everyday we were greated by AL, he was there when we left and when we came back everyday. he was so nice ,polite, knew the answers to all of our questions, friendly, & gave good advice on things to see. the breakfest was good & i loved the automatic pancake machine.i would recomend staying here.

Hotel was nice room a bit small though. Breakfast was good. Kids loved the pancakes I did too because it was No mess machine! My brother lives 2 miles away great location to him . We were on our way to Florida. We will more than likely choose again if we get a good price deal again

We had an appointment at Emory and needed a place to stay for one night and a family member suggested this hotel. I would give this 5 stars plus. This was a good clean hotel with friendly, helpful and great staff. It has a full hot breakfast that was really good. The person at the front desk was so helpful when we asked about the restaurant's & told us about the type of food served. They also gave us a book that told us everything that was in the area. The next morning when we went down for breakfast a staff member showed us where everything was & asked several times if anyone needed anything. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very clean and Al at the front desk was a pleasure. If we ever need to stay in the area again we will definitely stay here. They didn't accept our points for a room but we did get a discount since we were Diamond Customers

By far the nicest of the hotels I stayed at in my seven day travels through the south. Friendly staff at the front desk and the room I stayed in (219) was immaculate. Breakfast was decent. There were several options daily and the coffee was excellent. Needless to say the hotel I stayed in after this one made me wanna go straight back.

I was tricked into using expedia and did not get to use my rewards gift card, and they would not accept it at this hotel. I also did not receive credit on my membership account. because of this. the room had a connecting door to the room beside us which I had to request another room. I could clearly hear the people next to us. The lady at the front desk was very difficult. she initallyt refused to give us another room.

I checked in at this hotel only to find that the room smelled of a strong musty and foul odor. Even thought it was after 2am I was not about to subject my kids to such an unsanitary odor. When we went to the front desk to ask for another room we found out that they were completely booked. So we had to get a refund which the desk attendant said would take 3-5 days. Later, I discovered that only a partial credit had been given but to the wrong card. It was sent to the card used to reserve the room and not the card we used to checked in. The two cards did not belong to the same person. I called about the full amount not being returned and asked why it was not returned to the card that was used at check in. The general manager, ALAINA KIM, was very nasty and rude on the phone and stated that "Humans make mistakes and why cant I just asked the person whose card the credit went to to just give me the money." She was very unprofessional and was not listening to anything I told her about the cards but only asked why didn't I have the card that was used to reserve the room. I would not advise anyone to stay here because they have smelly rooms and a manager with a smelly attitude.

We stayed here one night for a quick trip. Needed just an over night place because we were attending Leadercast. This hotel was great. They let my daughter check-in early as she was travelling from college and meeting us there. The breakfast was good. The room was comfortable.

I had left another hotel and came here. They didn't have any clean rooms available but when I told Mr. Al what happened, he found me a room. The room was so clean, the service was great. Mr. Al took great care of my family's needs. The breakfast served was good. I will always stay here when in Duluth!

My wife and I were looking for a nice hotel in the Duluth area. Having tried several in the area, we were not happy with any until we tried the best western. It has all of the qualities that we like in our hotels. Clean, friendly staff, nice area, close to everything, good breakfast, and nice rooms. The desk staff was extremely helpful, giving us tips for dinner, laundry and site seeing. He even remember our names when we came back two weeks later.

Remodeled 1 1/2 year ago, comfortable bed, clean linens and surfaces and great in-room coffee. I stayed in a king size room which was surprisingly comfortable, as hotel beds go, with bigger than standard fridge. The breakfast was a little better than other BW'S because of the pancake machine. Very cute an efficient. Tasted and looked home made.

Nice and clean. Pretty good breakfast, but dining space was small. Check in friendly and prompt. Room was very clean and amenities above average. Bed was firm and comfortable. Internet access very good without complicated password. Would happily recommend to other travelers.

We arrived with just under 40 people most of them teens and this place was great. Huge Christian Worship event for young people and the hotel was packed. Still the staff was friendly and helpful in every way. Clean comfortable rooms and with that many kids they stayed right on top of breakfast, never running out. Would go back in a heartbeat!

This was a good value at a location where we stay a lot when in the Atlanta area. Wish I had found it earlier. It checked all the boxes - neat, clean, quiet, good staff, good location, and easy on/off the interstate. We will use this hotel again.

This is not the old Best Western. I ended up here totally by accident. My sister booked my room. I would have picked a hotel with a much higher nightly rate because I value the experience of sleeping away from home and I equated Best Western with past bad experiences. I was very pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, hospitality and feeling of being welcomed.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. In particular, Michael Westbrook went out of his way to follow up when we couldn't manage to get the key to work (might have been "operator error!"). I have to be in the Atlanta area overnight several times a year and will happily be staying at the Best Western Gwinnett Center.

Great place to stay..staff was friendly..bed comfy..room clean..shower only.. Good breakfast added bonus to breakfast was eggs and sausage. Fresh coffee and hot water for tea provided in the lobby for guest was very nice. Me and my husband was able to enjoy a cup of tea before bed..work out room was fair..we stayed 4days..

I really enjoyed this Best Western. The location was great and I felt safe. Really nice inside and the breakfast was displayed appetizing. I would recommend this hotel stay for anyone staying in the Atlanta area. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice and clean.

My husband I stayed here the second night of our 3000 mile motorcycle trip. Our first impression was that it was well-maintained....large room, modern decor, and very clean. I was simply delighted the bathtub was Jacuzzi-like but those thoughts were quickly dashed when I found out it didn't work and utterly disgusted when I saw black scum clogging all the jets. I didn't want to even take a shower with all those germs and bacteria so close. If you can't maintain the bathtub then get rid of it!

This was the best overall hotel stay I have had in a long time. The staff was very professional and engaging. The breakfast offered both hot and cold items. There was 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby in addition to a single serve in the room. The lobby was appealing to spend time in to relax. The outdoor pool had towels available. The area offered many options for food and shopping in addition to easy access to the freeway.

A+ for checking in, service & quality of room. Outside of hotel is very nice, only 1 block of grocery stores/shopping. N of Atlanta, Ga. Location is excellent right off Interstate in Duluth, GA Would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. Enjoyed the breakfast selection & use of computer in lobby

Just checked in. Al at the front desk is great. He was sooo helpful. Room is great. I'll keep you updated as the week goes on. But so far, so good. The room is spacious and very clean. Th hotel lobby is beautiful and very welcoming. They have free parking and a full breakfast. You've got to stay here if in Atlanta area.

My fiance and I stayed here and I don't remember ever encountering hotel staff working so hard to make my experience the best. Great and clean rooms, not too bad of a breakfast, and the fitness center was pretty nice! Being from MN, I was sad the pool was closed because the weather was great, but that was a GA thing and they worked really hard the get it open right before memorial day, in case we were staying that long. I will stay here every time I get the chance when visiting!

my business trip was pleasurable and my staff enjoyed it. the staff was very accommodating and helpful.we were around everything convenient and we had a great time at the nearby restaurants. the pool opens this weekend bummer we came a week earlier.

Very adequate hotel for working in the Duluth-Lawrenceville area. Hotel is in good condition. Staff is very pleasant. Gym could use some updating. Breakfast was fine. Near a major mall and shopping area. Lots of restaurants nearby.

The price with a AAA discount is exceptional. It would cost almost 80% more to book a room 20 miles closer to the center of Atlanta. The ease accessing the internet, premium TV channel, continental breakfast, and proximity to major roadways proved unbeatable.

Good location, decent decor and quality overall. Staff friendly and responsive. Room A/C unit was so LOUD it kept me up half the night and I didn't get a good night's sleep. Good location and clean exterior and landscaping, etc. Breakfast setup was minimal and spartan, at least there are good dining options nearby. Sorry, I won't be back!

Good value for money with an excellent powerful shower. Rooms clean and tidy and well maintained. Good location for I-85 and rooms are quiet without road noise (back of hotel). Breakfast is included and has a good choice and changes daily.

Enjoyed my stay. Room was well taken care of. Staff was kind and answered any questions I had. I was under the assumption that the pool would be open, but it was not. Continental breakfast was good. There was something different every day.

I was in town for a conference at the Infinite Energy Center. It was close to the conference, offered a free breakfast, and the stay was excellent. The staff were all friendly, the bed was very comfortable, and it was clean. A great value for my visit!

Con: The rooms shake from the laundry being done by the maids if you stay on the 2nd floor. I was not warned in advance and woke up to loud noise and enough ground shaking that caused me to think maybe we were having a small earthquake or something. Staff did not care enough to switch my room and never followed up with me. Pros: Nice, clean, near the highway, many restaurants, and stores. Based on my experience I would not recommend this hotel for people who like to sleep longer than 8a.m. because that is when your room will start to shake.

We stayed three nights here and it is close enough to Atlanta to go into the city. The room and hotel itself was immaculately clean and the staff was helpful and polite. It is in a quiet area. I would recommend this hotel as well as stay again myself.

Very nice hotel! Centrally located to plenty of restaurants and things to do plus very easily accessible from the interstate. Stayed here after a Braves game on the way to the mountains and would definitely stay again. Very clean and staff was friendly & helpful.

This hotel location was close to some activities my family attended this weekend. Although there was some sort of "cleaning/chemical" smell in the hall, we didn't detect any strong odor in our room. The beds slept very comfortable and my family of 3 had ample space in the bathroom and room. Unfortunately there were some teen guests (2nd floor) who decided to be loud and rowdy in the halls (folks need to control their own children); but finally someone called hotel staff and one of their chaperones managed to get them under control. Perhaps that teen group should have been located on the first floor but we finally were able to get some sleep. The morning breakfast was delicious with an assortment that we all were pleased with. The server (Chad) was very attentive and kept everything plentiful. If ever in the area again, we wouldn't have a problem staying at this hotel again.

Generally nice staff, Good breakfast, Clean room, Ample size of rooms, Plenty of well lit good parking Safe area BUT Moderately difficult /irritable staff at my 1:30 AM check-in. Noisy halls Worst of all, the halls smell like a mix between artificial flowers and an eager French wh*re. Multiple guests i polled during my stay agreed that the halls smelled odd. The hotel uses the same spritzers used in public bathrooms to saturate the halls with this odor. It's so pungent that the smell is inescapable, even in your room. I should have listened more to the reviews that mentioned this odd and overwhelming smell, even though the management's replies were well written and dismissed the claim as just that of sensitive guests. ("You can't make everybody happy", I think were their words.) It was so disturbing that it made me create this review, which is the only review I've ever taken the time to write. The smell is enough to make me consider a different establishment if I return to the area.

I have stayed at this hotel 5 times since the start of 2016! It is a wonderful hotel with great customer service! The rooms have always been clean and any problems we had were resolved quickly and professionally! The showers are spacious and bathrooms clean. The air works great in every room I have stayed in. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The wi-fi is great I stayed in the hotel 8 hours a day online and never had any issues with the internet. I also really liked the parking area which felt safe and was very well lit! I would recommend this hotel to everyone and anyone!

After staying at the previous night at a horrible hotel, we cancelled the second day and booked the next night here at the Best Western. It was a bit pricey, however it was a much more enjoyable stay. The hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and efficient. The hot breakfast was good.

Good location, fair price, staff O.K., but you better LOVE the stink of strong perfume sprays because after a few days your nose won't be able to smell anything else! The hot breakfast was nice. Two beds in the room, one good mattress, one not as good.

At first, it looks like the place does not appear to be a great place to stay. The parking lot looks small and it almost gives you an old hotel feeling. But the inside is gorgeous. Main lobby is small but very well organized. Staffs are nice and very helpful. The room is clean. Simple. Any business man or any single or double travelers should visit this place.

At arrival the exterior was freshly painted and inviting. The rooms were updated and clean. The included breakfast had some hot food items, the location was at a crossroads and seemed centrally located, entering and exiting the hotel parking lot was a lot easier than it first appeared, flow of traffic well regulated, I felt very comfortable here.

Nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Everything was very clean. I arrived a little early & room was not ready. Had an appointment, so they went ahead & checked me in. The keys were waiting at the desk when I returned. The rooms were spacious. I like a firm mattress & this one was perfect. Very quiet. Slept really well. Room had microwave, fridge & coffee maker. Was a cool weekend & the heater worked really well (almost too well). Had to keep it set about 65*. They provide a free breakfast. The selection could have been better. Just sausage, scrambled eggs, toast, & pancakes. Would have liked grits or hash browns. All in all, very nice place & a very good value.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels, new soaps and shampoo daily. Price per night was very good. The only issue we had, if you could call it that, was neither of us slept well. Not sure if it had to do with the bed or just being away.

Although the hotel was full, the place was comfortable and very well managed. The room was large with adequate seating, flat screen and comfy beds, Breakfast was large and varied and the automated pancake maker was a pleasant change. Staff, especially front desk were welcoming and helpful.

I thought the hotel had its own style, with some features like any other 2.5 star brand. But still with some subtle features. I did not like the walls they were to thin. My teenage son and I stayed one night here. We checked in a little late, and parking was plentiful. Mike (or Michael, can't remember) at the desk was cheerful, friendly and efficient. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was fine, the beds were comfortable, and we didn't notice much noise at all. The TV worked, the free Wi-Fi worked, the shower was AWESOME - great water pressure and plenty of hot water. There was a fridge and microwave. The fridge didn't seem to work and the dials to turn it on/turn it colder seemed to be broken off. We didn't really need it for one night though, so it wasn't a big deal. The coffee maker worked and the coffee was good. The room and bathroom were clean, although there was some sticky substance (shampoo or lotion I hope) on the side of the tub which I had to clean off. I greeted the housekeeper in the hallway and she smiled and said hello very nicely. That kind of thing means a lot to me. The breakfast was great. Chad, the attendant in the breakfast room, was AWESOME! I smiled and thanked him for breakfast and he responded so positively, it made my day. He asked if I needed anything, he engaged me in conversation, he was a really nice man. Again, that kind of thing means a lot to me. He is quite an asset to the hotel. The food was really good too. The little omelets were delicious, the bacon and sausage patties were great, there were also plain scrambled eggs, cereal, bread/toast, pastries, fruit, juices, milk, yogurt, bagels, cream cheese, pancakes, etc. As far as hotel breakfasts go, I thought this was a pretty good one. There was also coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc at the coffee bar. Overall I was happy with our stay and would stay here again.

Ok, was here for 4nites... and they had crap for breakfast. Same thing everyday for 5 days. That's boring and frustrating honestly. No milk at one point. The welcome person at the desk wasn't nice as well. I would not stay again nor recommend to anybody. They have nicer hotels close by.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was clean and comfortable, but the excellent customer service really made it stand out. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located just off interstate but tucked back a little from the fray. We'll stay there again.

This is another Best Western hotel that did not let me down. The hotel, its staff, and the price exceeded my expectations. The desk clerk, Michael, greeted us pleasantly even though he was involved in helping a customer. When it was our turn, he welcomed us as Platinum members and quickly had us headed to our room. The room was well decorated and clean. The beds were very comfortable, the wifi worked, and the TV was modern. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Chad, the attendant in the breakfast area, was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was adequate.

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years. The most recent visit was last week when I was in Atlanta for my birthday. The hotel had been remodeled since my previous visit and was updated and more modern. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was beyond gracious.

The breakfast buffet was nice and better than just a continental breakfast. The shower heads and bathrooms were great. Nothing worse than a shower without any water pressure. Rooms and refrigerators were a nice size.

This is one of the best hotels my wife and I have ever stayed at, and the price really made us happy. The hotel was clean, the bed really comfortable, and room had nice décor. Hotel has the most friendly staff I have ever met, especially Al at the front desk and the young man that takes care of the breakfast area. Our daughter and her family stayed at a more pricey hotel nearby, but it wasn't nearly as nice as ours, and they had to pay $6.99 each for the same type breakfast that we got for free. The hotel is easy access to and from the interstate, plus plenty od restaurants near by.

We had a okay stay for our one night trip. I don't think I would have wanted to stay any longer then one night though. My biggest complaint was the smell in the hallways and in our room. I believe this hotel still has rooms that are smoking friendly which makes covering the smell a full time job for house keeping. The hallways smell like very strong carpet deodorizer and our room was very musty smelling. We had to walk down and get towels because our room didn't have any. One night was definitely enough for me.

It was priced lower than a more expensive hotel where our daughter and her family stayed and they had to pay $6.99 a piece for the same type of breakfast we got for free. Read many reviews, a few made me kind of nervous. I phoned "Al" and he assured me that things were definitely taken care of. My wife and I had stayed here about 1 1/2 yrs ago, and the reviews didn't line up. So we called , and we stayed for two nights to visit family nearby 27/28 Dec. Not only were we impressed, but we recommend this place. Front desk people are attentive. My family came by with Pizza one night late, it was pouring rain, they forgot plates and utensils, none in room, of course, and Woman at front desk , got us plates,napkins ,etc. and we were so happy. Our visit was outstanding. My reply to all the "Al" bashers out there, give him a break, Not only does he care, his entire staff from maids, to breakfast staff to cleaning guys, to overnight staff went out of their way to ensure an outstanding visit. We will definitely come back, when we visit next year over holidays. And for the lady who complained about breakfast? Well we ate two excellent breakfasts , the fella in charge of that area was outstanding as well. Excellent deal for the money. I stayed at the Best Western for a 4 day business trip. The night staff in the hotel was amazing and super friendly and the breakfast was plentiful and staff there was SUPER friendly. Aside from that, the corridor smelt like mildew and my room was not the cleanest I've stayed at. I complained about an issue with my toilet not flushing properly and the shower backing up. Unfortunately during my stay it was not fixed and I had to resort to using a plunger to get the toilet to work properly. Aside from the staff being SUPER friendly and the breakfast being great, it definitely wasn't a great experience.

We had to make an unexpected stay in Atlanta due to flooding in Alabama. After looking at reviews on Trip Advisor, we chose this hotel. The hotel lobby was nicely appointed and clean. However, there was a strange overpowering odor when we got off the elevator on our floor. Thankfully our room didn't smell. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The ac unit was so loud that we had to turn it off in order to sleep. The only bedding was a sheet and a thin blanket, no comforter. Not what you'd expect from Best Western. The next morning, the breakfast bar was totally out of hot breakfast at 8:50 and the breakfast was supposed be until 10:00. There was no hotel staff monitoring the breakfast area. Many of the hotel guests were waiting for the hot breakfast to be refilled but no one came. All of the coffee dispensers were out as well. The hotel front desk person (Al) and another hotel staff member were at the front desk casually chatting. When we asked Al about the breakfast issue, he said we'd need to speak with the staff member in the blue shirt (who happened to be the guy he was talking with until we approached the desk). When we turned to address the staff member "in the blue shirt", he was no where in sight. When we told Al this was unacceptable, he shrugged his shoulders as if there was nothing he could do.There were MANY disgusted guests in the front lobby. As a last resort, we were going to get a snack from the vending machine to hold us over until we could check out, the only vending machine on our floor was a drink machine. Sometimes being convenient to the interstate and being a well-known hotel chain just isn't enough. I would NOT recommend this hotel nor will I stay here again. I doubt that I will ever stay at a Best Western in the future based on this stay.

Very clean. Rooms are large and spacious. Beds extremely comfortable. Easy to find right off the interstate. Close to food. Gas nearby. Our room had a nice size refrigerator, microwave oven and sitting area. Staff were friendly and helpful.

In the past 3 months I have stayed in three different Best Western Hotels along g Interstate 85. Piedmont SC, exit 49. Commerce Ga exit 149 and this one. All my stays at these three hotels have been wonderful. The hotels are clean and quiet and the staff in all three have been excellent. I would absolutely recommend any of these hotels to anyone and everyone that travels this route and needs to bed down for the night, or even extended stays.

My stay, of three nights, was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well laid out and food choices were very good. Internet access was reliable and fast. Staff was very helpful whenever we need assistance.

Great stay at a very clean, modern Best Western with great breakfast and service. The internet was fast and lobby was nice so I was able to do alot of business work online and downstairs. I have stayed here many times and I will stay again here when I come in town for business.

My family came from different states for dinner in Georgia. This hotel was just what the doctor ordered. We had a wonderful stay and my family enjoyed their stay at the hotel. They also said when in Georgia this is the spot.

Stayed here 3 nights over thanksgiving. Beds were great, but didn't like the pillows. They were big and poofy, but I prefer a pillow where my head doesn't sink all the way in. Breakfast was very good, and Chad the runs the buffet was a stud. Super friendly and does a great job, Loved the pancake maker. Shower was recently renovated and bathroom was very clean. Decent price too.

Everyone, from the night clerk at check in who recommended an excellent restaurant nearby to the man attending the breakfast room who is so efficient and accommodating to the morning manager who takes time to send you on your way with a smile, these folks make you welcome. The room was immaculate; the service equivalent to any 5 star we have stayed in. The BW is at Exit 104 on I-85 just outside Atlanta with tons of shopping and eateries nearby including the mall. Free WiFi, of course, fitness center an so on. We will stay here every time we visit the Atlanta area and recommend you do, too. Top notch star, accommodations, breakfast, location, and facilities-even a fireplace in the lobby!

It is very common nowdays for even moderately upscale hotels to have hard uncomfortable beds. This hotel actually has pretty decent beds; I would give them a 9 out of 10. My only real complaints were the usual lack of electrical outlets, and the attractive but oddly uncomfortable chair.Also the service for the breakfast was noticably avove average.

I like this hotel due to my overall experience for comfortable stay and price. The internet is very good and best ever than other hotels among Best Western. The breakfast is also good, only pity is that outside pool is closed due to winter weather.

For the price, this is one of the best hotels in which I have stayed. Each staff member was exceptionally diligent and proud of his work, and all were very happy and helpful. The room was great, the slip-free shower floor was great. The food was wonderful! Overall, though, the staff really made my stay pleasant in the middle of a 5-day rainstorm.

Staff friendly, hotel clean, Room was very comfortable and amenities were plentiful. The real coffee machine was appreciated. Hotel has easy access to airport and highway. It was a bit cool for the outdoor pool but it looked well kept.

Stayed there for only one night. Looks really old-fashioned. Don't expect that you can open a window in order to get fresh air. Had to go to front desk 4 times to get a working room key card. Pro - Price - Friendly, helpful front desk - Room was very clean - Parking with no charge Con - It smelled everywhere like muddy water. Sorry, but that was my impression. - Too less for the price Would I recommend this hotel? No! Would I stay there again? No! You see what you get and you get what you see.

We stayed 2 nights in king bed room. Hotel is a bit outside of Atlanta but we reached the aquarium in 15 minutes (at 1030). Large room, very clean. Good shower and comfortable bed. Set back from the interstate, so no noise.Very friendly staff with good breakfast.. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Surprising, the stay was very nice! The bed was comfy, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The only thing the room had a stench or a fowl smell. It was clean, but we couldn't tell if it was the carpet or the furniture. It smell of mildew or mold. Other than that the renovations were great. Great modern décor. If they can find out the fowl smell, this hotel would be even better.

Excellent property in a good location. Michael checked us in and was very efficient and courteous. Provided us great direction for dinner. The room was well appointed although a little small, large chair and ottoman was tucked in a corner. Breakfast was simple but good, no potatoes. Service at breakfast was the best we have ever had.

The room was extremely clean as was the dining area. The breakfast was very good too. And to top off how nice everything was, it was very inexpensive. The staff was quite attentive to our needs and the comfort of the hotel was outstanding.

From the time of arrival to departure. my wife and i enjoyed every time spend so much. we're planning to return because of Cleans room, bedding, nice room decor and above all the price was good comparable to others hotels in same vicinity. I need to be proofed wrong!!

I called before I even went there and Michael solved my dilemma. And he greeted me when I arrived. Chad, the breakfast guy was wonderful. Iris the housekeeper brought extra towels. And Al made sure I didn't get lost. And when I came back from a long day, Michael again made me feel welcomed. This great staff made me feel like I was at my home away from home. A roaring fireplace would've completed it, but it is September. and a little too warm.

I just have to say we stayed here last weekend for 3 nights.We picked this hotel because of the location to where our son is going to school. The place is very clean and the beds are so comfortable. The guy who did the breakfast each morning always had a welcoming hello. The staff is very helpful.It is very close to alot of shopping. We will be coming back to this place when we we visit our son.

The staff at this hotel was great. I had two concerns which were immediately addressed and corrected. Complimentary breakfast was good. This hotel is located in a great area and I felt very safe staying there. The hotel was very clean and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
