    « Outdated »

The hotel is quite outdated for the price they ask. The hallways smelled like mold. The room we got was spacious, but the carpet was all stained. It looked old and worn-out. Same applied to the upholstery of the chairs. What really annoyed us though was the blond girl at the reception when we checked in. We had bought some food from outside and asked her very kindly if we can get some plastic or borrow some regular forks from their breakfast room. It was completely ridiculous how she handled the situation. Even though she sounded polite and smiled, she justified herself by saying that she "doesn't do kitchen and doesn't know where they keep them". Well, at least she could have moved herself a few feet from her desk (that is where the breakfast room was) and check out where "they keep the forks" or offer us to feel free to check the breakfast area ourselves and find some forks. So she didn't provide us with forks, and she couldn't care less. We went out again and bought a pizza from the nearby restaurant to compliment our dinner, and from there we got a bunch of plastic forks. Anyways, the blond girl at the reception demonstrated a totally unacceptable customer service approach, and the hotel's management should consider some proper training to this employee. The morning receptionist was polite and efficient. Overall, the price of this hotel is too high for the quality they offer and it's far from the main attractions in the area.

    « Really Good »

We couldn't find anything reasonable in Jackson so a friendly bar tender told us about this place approx 40 minutes up the road. Beware at night as there's lots of deer out and about. Clean, comfortable, nice breakfast and not overpriced. Highly recommend.

« good place west to Teton »

The Best Western Teton West is nicely located at the western side of the Teton NP. Jackson is only 45 minutes away. The hotel is standard, nothing special but also nothing negative, besides the breakfast rom which is a bit small when the hotel is (almost) full. Rooms are big, clean and not much to complain about. A good place with a reasonable price, certainly compared with hotels in or near Jackson.

« Briggs Idahoe Best Werstern »

Heard everything from rooms above and next door Carpets in both rooms we had with friends stained. People nice and helped us change last night to another Best Western closer to our next destination in Snow Bird. Could use updating. Price too high for being so far from anything!

« A night on the western side of the Tetons »

I discovered Driggs by accident the last time I tried to book a room in Jackson Wy. I could not find a room that was not overpriced, in my opinion. I know scarcity increases demand and the price. This time I chose to stay at the Best Western a bit closer to central Driggs, although it was not necessary for me to be close to city center. I was very pleased by the accommodations and the quality of service.

« Great facility; unprofessional staff »

We enjoyed our room in Driggs. It was comfortable and clean. The pool was very nice for the exercise I do there. The front desk needs improvement in its staff. When we arrived a half hour early for check in, we didn't mind that the room wasn't ready. We were given our keys and went to our room at check in time -- 3 PM. The room wasn't clean and a maid couldn't be found. Finally she came and finished cleaning. She said she was helping in laundry. When it was time to check out, I rang the bell 3 times before anyone came to help me. When she arrived, she apologized and said she was helping in laundry. The breakfast service area and seating area both are cramped. We stood once to eat -- no tables available.

    « Average.....for the area »

Grading on a curve considering the area....this place wouldn't survive long in a major metropolitan area. But given the lack of choice in this area, it will meet your basic needs. Place is very dated. It is clean, but dated. Layout is odd, breakfast is so-so, staff seems inconvenienced that there are guests staying there.

    4
    « Small Town »

Clean hotel, beds good, older hotel..nice size room. A great supermarket close. No micro. No TV guide, hate having to flip all channels, trying to find a channel. Not a big deal..but something I like to have..Breakfast at 7,a little late if u need to get on the road. It was a very small area,it was not a great breakfast.. About 50-55 mins to Grand Teton..

« Stayed here while visiting the Teton's »

Although it's a bit of a drive over the mountain pass, it's great if you're on a budget. We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was clean and comfortable. We didn't use the pool or hot tub because we simply didn't have time when we returned for the evening. The breakfast was good in the AM. Not a lot of room for dining, but the choices were fairly good. All the staff we spoke with were great. If you're looking to save some money on lodging this is a place I would recommend if you aren't afraid to drive a little. Besides it's a great view along the way!!

« Adequate hotel for what we needed »

We needed a place to sleep for the night as we were on our way to our next road trip destination and this hotel was available. The hotel is located on main street and within walking distance to the 'downtown'. One of our bed had a metal piece stick-out on the side which could cause injury. I went to the front desk to report but the staff was no where to be found. Since it was only a night stay we just let it go. My kids like the pool and Jacuzzi, kept them entertain for a bit. The breakfast was so-so. We had better breakfast at other BW hotel. The staff were doing their job but did not go out of their way to be friendly. Overall this place is good if you need a place to crash for the night, not that you have many options in Driggs, ID.

« Very Good for the Price »

This hotel is a great bargain, compared to Yellowstone properties, however it's a little bit of a drive. You might want to consider weighing the cost versus time spent. I would stay closer next time. Breakfast in morning, eggs, toast juice, cereal, coffee, etc. Rooms are clean. People all through the area, Restaurants, cafe's, etc, are very nice.

    2
    « A little dreary »

Even for a budget property, there's a baseline, and there are some things in need of a refresh here. Maybe I got a bad room, but the carpet, furniture, and a few of the lamps were pretty beat up. When there are visible stains in multiple areas of your carpeting, it probably needs to get deep-cleaned or replaced. One of the floor lamps was in such bad shape it was kind of disconnected from its base, so the shade was leaning against the wall - the only thing keeping it upright at all. The bathroom, however, was very clean.

    3
    « Trip West »

The hotel is clean and the rooms are good sized. Couple of negative: The back door to the hotel did not have a lock for security. The breakfast area was very small and cramped. The staff was polite but not very informative concerning the closing of the West gate of Yellowstone due to fires.

    2
    « Poor Experience »

Rooms, are not to large, beds are very hard pillows are huge. The problem we had was the cleaning people forgot to leave the air conditioning on which couldn't get the room cool until the wee hours of the morning, I called the front desk and they came right up and checked the A/C unit and then they called the maintenance man. He was upset because he was called away from his dinner at home, said the unit was fine and left, his attitude was awful. The people at the front desk were wonderful. Said the normally leave the A/C on in those west facing rooms.

    3
    « Average Experience »

Stayed at this property for 3 nights. Staff was good, rooms were kind of small but clean not worth what we paid. Breakfast choices were limited. Hotel needs to keep some local area and sightseeing information too.

    1
    « not recommend ?? »

no management on sight @ front office area LOCKED AFTER 11PM??did not see any security cameras anywhere w/ exit doors open?? frozen egg liked?poor internet ?? downstair carpet smell ??near pool? over priced??

    « Just Ok Hotel »

Hotel is ok, on a best western scale - falls below others. Room is very small. Very old building. Stairs not very safe, very steep and tilt. Probably wouldn't be up to code in todays requirements. Internet is pretty much non-existent it's so slow.

    5
« Great hotel at this price »

This is the best hotel in Great Teton or Teton west area. Not too expensive, very clean and comfortable room. All staffs are so kind and the free breakfast was great ! BTW its not too far from the grand teton national park.

    5
    « Quiet and comfy »

Spend one night here in August 2nd, the hotel room was very nice and clean. The hotel lobby was simple yet elegant. Plenty of parking spots outside. The breakfast was simple but ok. Good value for money.

    3
    « Okay, Nothing Special. »

If you need a room for just a night or two it's a decent choice. Room was clean and decent sized for a Best Western. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The negatives, no elevator to haul 3 weeks of vacation luggage up. Plus I had reserved a jacuzzi King Suite that was no longer available due to a pipe bursting. I wasn't happy with the double queens or the fact I wasn't offered some type of adjustment.

    « Nice Hotel »

Very nice hotel, very well located. The reception staff is very friendly. Nice and big room with bathroom. The continental breakfast is well served. There is a large indoor pool with jacuzzi. Very quiet. Very well.

    5
    « Very nice! »

The rooms were very nice and clean! The beds were amazing and a great nights sleep. Very friendly staff. Wifi was a little spotty but all of the Yellowstone area seemed to be. Would definitely recommend to others to stay here.

    4
    « Close to Yellowstone »

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Yellowstone. It isn't a very big town but the manager, Whitney, was very nice and helpful. The indoor pool and hot tub were nice also. Whitney suggested a restaurant in Driggs which was very good.

    5
« Clean rooms, friendly staff, good value »

Great value, attentive staff, clean rooms (very important to me!). Used the laundry room with no issues. Thought the beds would be too soft but they were fine. Breakfast was sufficient but not particularly special (scrambled eggs and a rotation of sausage patties or home fries with crumbled sausage and onions/peppers, plus toast/bagels/muffins/cereal/juice/coffee/tea/milk). I was thankful it was clean and well maintained. We chose it because it was sort of near Jackson, WY, but we didn't realize the drive to Jackson would be over the Teton Pass which was scenic but curvy and could be a problem in bad weather. Overall, we would stay again. Driggs is a small town, but there was a grocery store and a couple of places to eat. 32 miles from Jackson, WY.

    4
« Great stay in Driggs, ID »

Beds and pillows were comfortable. Air conditioning cooled the room on a hot day. EXCELLENT service from the staff. Wi-fi was a little slow, but not really a problem. Fridge was spacious--we stored our cooler items with no problem.

    5
« Great Staff and Place to Stay »

We were close to Jackson Hole, but still in a "small town" area (Driggs, ID). This is an ideal place to stay if you are looking for a less expensive experience other than the costly Jackson area! Staff was terrific and so very helpful. Kind, courteous, fun, just made us feel great! Loved the pool for the grandkids to play in and near walking distance for food/shops/groceries/etc.

    5
« Stayed here before and again, still impressed »

Nice hotel that met and exceeded my traveling needs. Wonderful and helpful staff that helped me find a room at the last minute! Will stay here again in the future for sure! Great variety for breakfast, as well.

    2
    « Inconvenient & Overpriced »

I suppose everyone who makes the mistake of booking at this hotel are people like me who have never been to the area because this hotel is nowhere near Yellowstone or Teton NP. Although it looked close enough on the map, in actuality, it took us 1 ½ - 2 hours to get to the parks. Although the hotel charges around $130/night, it doesn't offer any of the amenities that other hotels do at this price point. The room was grimy and outdated. The beds were old and uncomfortable, and breakfast turned out to be the worst part, terrible selection and fruit that were as old as the hotel. It was so bad that after the first morning, we decided to skip it and buy our own from a nearby grocery store. The only highlight was the pool, and especially after a hot day in the parks, it provided a nice retreat. I definitely do not recommend this place for anyone who is visiting the area although it may be acceptable for those driving through. There are a lot better options in West Yellowstone (MT) or Jackson (WY).

    4
    « Satisfying Stay »

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool and hot tub are a good amenity. I was not a huge fan of breakfast, however it was like most hotels which I am also not a fan of, so that is more my issue than the hotels. If you are staying here to travel to and from Jackson, the road to Jackson is kinda scary to drive. The Teton Mountains are beautiful, however the 45 minutes drive to and fro can get annoying.

    2
    « Choose another hotel »

If planning on going to Jackson Hole Wyoming, choose another hotel. This hotel is very dated, and a poorly remodeled hotel. Breakfast area is very crowed and the stairs going up and down are scary-it was like they enclosed the outside of an older hotel. Very old hotel.

    « nice stay »

very clean hotel, close to National Parks. No elevator. in this building. Has an indoor pool and hot tub. Staff was very friendly and helpful at check in and suggested places to eat , and local attractions to enjoy Excellent breakfast choices for continental breakfast. ample parking spaces

« Stayed here when visiting Grand Teton National Park »

This hotel is about 30 minutes from Jackson WY. You drive over Teton Pass on the way from Jackson to Driggs, which was an unexpected bonus. Driggs looks like a nice little town, unfortunately we didn't get to spend much time there. The hotel was very nice. Whitney checked us in and was very pleasant. The rooms were large and very clean. The kids used the pool and the adults used the laundry room. Breakfast doesn't start until 7. We told Whitney that we had to leave early because we had to drive to Grand Teton for a float trip. She told us to come early for breakfast and knock on the lobby door. She said the hot food might not be ready but we could help ourselves to the cold food. She told us that her sister Carli would be working in the morning. We got there a little before 7 and had our breakfast. The breakfast area is quite large and there was the usual food that you find at a Best Western. The presentation was attractive and the area was very clean.

    1
    « What's that smell? »

The smell in the hallway of the back building was terrible. It seemed to be strongest at the ice machine. It wasn't nearly as bad in our room but we held our breath every time we opened the door. I think it was mildew and they need to replace the carpet. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and the breakfast is decent. Stay away if you have allergies or a sensitive nose. If you do stay, make sure your room is in the front building.

    3
    « Nice hotel »

We stayed one night. The room had a Jacuzzi tub and the room was large. There was an smell in the hall and my wife identified it as chlorine from the pool. I slept very well. Free breakfast. The staff was friendly. A grocery was right down the street. It was much cheaper than staying in Jackson while, which was 1/2 hour away. The computer there was so old and slow, I decided to use my phone instead. The strangest thing was the hotel had no vacancies, but the parking lot was very empty. We at first thought the hotel was closed when we arrived. A few more cars were there in the morning, but a lot less than it should have been.

    4
« Comfortable stay en route to Teton »

Travelling north towards Yellowstone/Teton from Salt Lake City found this hotel. Easy check in (on-line it suggests that there is no reception and to call ahead - no need as there is a reception area). Tidy, clean room - no issues at all.

    5
    « Excellence and affordable »

This was my wife and I third stay. When we come to Yellowstone for vacation we don't even consider another hotel. We have never been disappoint with the room, breakfast or staff and not to say it is affordable. Family owned and operated with very caring staff!

    5
    « Family run »

Clean, neat, great rooms with comfortable beds. Family run and oriented. They use real dishes and silverware for breakfast, no paper products. Warm water pool and hot tub for your relaxation. Friendly and helpful staff. From a 1 - 10, I would give it a 10 and highly recommend it.

    3
    « Just OK »

This hotel was ok, with clean rooms. The main issue I had was with the beds being very soft, almost collapsing on the edges when I sat on them. In addition to this issue, the water pressure was way too high for the faucet in the sink. Water would splatter all over the place including our clothes with the slight turn of the knob. What was interesting though was that the pressure in the shower appeared to be normal. Finally, the breakfast wasn't good at all. We were in a hurry, so we thought we would grab something on the go. Not much to pick from.

    5
« Service of a Marriott makes this motel shine »

This is a 3.5 star motel, with the service of a Marriott. They didn't tell us where to hike, they printed a map. When we needed a place to eat, they let us eat in the breakfast area. They didn't tell us where to eat, they drew options on the map. They went out of their way to serve. Thanks Barb! and her boss. The motel is roomy, kept clean and the breakfast was good. It's not new so expect an inconvenience or two. You can hear things going in the hall, but this is a family fun tourist area and you have expect some noise no matter where you stay. Good beds and pillows. Pool is not big, but the kids and adults had a blast (there were 21 of us so I'm afraid we contributed to the noise). Will stay again. The area is amazing when you get tired of the millions of people in Jackson.

    4
« Nice staff but very noisy neighbors »

We got unlucky with our neighbors, who had people coming and going from their room at 2 a.m. and blasted the tv. Seemed like there was no soundproofing at all. Rooms are a little odd because there's a window to a narrow hallway; seems like the hallway was added on to the building at some point. We didn't like this Best Western as much as a couple of other ones we stayed at, but for just one night it was okay. Good pillow selection.

« Best Western Teton West at Driggs Review »

Hotel carpet looks old and has odor. The door between guest rooms and front desk area is locked at night. That is unfriendly. Breakfast start time is 7am, that is relatively late. Served breakfast items are quite limited. I don't seem find elevator in the hotel.

    5
    « Fantastic customer sevice »

We drove from jackson hole to this place . Pretty good hotel and excellent customer service. Special thank to Barb who put microwave over in my room. Comfortable bed and good breakfast. Kids loved staying at this hotel.

    3
    « ALMOST BEST Western ..... »

The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, The hot breakfast choices (scrambled eggs, sausage patties (day 1), potatoes with peppers (day 2), and make your own mini-waffles) were tasty. There were dried cranberries, blueberries, granola and cinnamon and sugar to add to your yogurt or oatmeal. Several types of coffee for those that drink coffee. Fruit cups and applesauce, danishes, mini-muffins, orange and apple juice, and 4 kinds of cereals round out your choices. As to the room, the beds were way too hard for us. The room was rather dark and cave-like. The room and bathroom were clean and the towels were soft. The water pressure in the sink was very strong but the shower pressure was on the low side. Probably would not stay here again due to the poor sleep quality we experienced.

    3
    « A place to stay »

An okay place to stay and cheap. About the only place to stay, but clean. Nice staff, and better than it looks from outside. It is consider part of Jackson metro area. And they recommended a super littl bar and food place, the Royal Wolf.

    5
« Super Nice and Clean! »

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Our room had been recently remodeled and it was SPOTLESS. The breakfast was pretty standard but very good and presented nicely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were in great condition. We stayed here 2 nights while visiting Yellowstone/Grand Teton/Jackson. Getting to Yellowstone is quite a ways from the hotel, but if you're mainly visiting Grand Teton and Jackson, WY then this is a good less expensive alternative to staying in overly pricey Jackson. I definitely recommend this hotel!!

    3
    « long night »

Hotel is an older building room was ok but noisy herd water pipes and weird bangs of and on all night. the breakfast was only ok area was not kept clean and trash cans were full to the top should have been better taken care of.

    5
    « Excellent experience »

I like the location of this hotel. Half hour drive to the Jackson, while the price is reasonable low. With free breakfast, free wifi, free parking, I regard it as a ideal place to stay. This hotel is very family friendly. My daughter like it very much.

    5
« Best Western, Driggs, Idaho »

Very nice Best Western in this little town in the Tetons. Good breakfast included - waffle maker, etc. and staff attentive to keeping it filled up. The beds and pillows were great. Quiet, too! Hot tub was great and the indoor water temperature was warm enough to actually get in. Would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

    4
    « BW Driggs »

Well priced and easy access to Grand Teton NP. Rooms were clean and quiet and breakfast was included with hot and cold choices. Barb greeted us when we first arrived and went out of her way to ensure our stay was the best she could do for us. The internet signal in our room was very low and we were unable to connect our smaller devices; only our laptop was able to pick up an intermittent signal. Overall, we would be happy to stay there again.

    5
« Good hotel and only a short drive to Teton National Park »

I thought the hotel was excellent. The room was clean and odor free. The king bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed the shower. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again if we are in the area.

« Good value for the area. »

In an area (Tetons/Jackson Hole, etc.) where rooms seem to be priced by the hour, the BW Teton West was a great value at well under $100/night. Although there is no elevator, and the accommodations are somewhat Spartan, all the basic necessities are present here and I would stay here again. The most outstanding aspect of it all was that it was soooo quiet after everyone settled down. At only 55 miles away from Grand Teton National Park, it is well worth the stay. The downside is that restaurant fare is not very good. The breakfast area at the hotel was small, so be early or be ready to wait for a seat. Breakfast was OK, but there was good coffee and food was there. One treat we did find in town was Brolins Market that had an amazingly good selection of sandwiches, etc. The view of the west side of the Tetons was an added treat and the drive to the ski area was also a bonus part of the trip. Driggs is a small town, so don't expect nightlife, but its solitude in Sept. was enjoyable.

    5
« Great Value When Visiting Teton National Park »

Although it's a drive to Grand Teton National Park, this facility is a great bargain especially compared to other properties nearer to the park. Our room was very clean and quiet. The on-site laundry room was wonderful with new machines. Every front desk employee we met was very helpful and friendly. If we come back to this area,we would definitely stay here again!!

    4
    « Worth the drive »

We had a large king bed room with a large mini-fridge, microwave, large desk with swivel chair and upholstered chair and ottoman (nice touch). The tiled shower/bath had a whirlpool tub with a nice high faucet (at 6 ft. tall I appreciate that). The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a cut above - included scrambled eggs and potatoes with veggies, a nice assortment of pastries. We especially were thrilled that they had an on-site coin laundry (one washer, one dryer), because we had been on the road for a while and needed clean clothes. It was worth the 40 minute drive from Jackson, where hotel prices are sky high.

    4
    « Great value »

Best Western Driggs is very comfortable, clean and has helpful staff. We decided to stay in Driggs as it was the closest pick up point for us to start our camping trip in the back country of West Yellowstone. Its great value for money.

« Outstanding Front Desk Agent »

Talk about being in the right place at the right time. Our family was going through a stressful time and we needed to use our cell phone. We could not get reception in that area and was at a loss as to what to do. Our problems were solved by a very attentive front desk agent by the name of Virginia. She could sense our frustration when I called the front desk and explained our dilemma. Within minutes there was a knock at our door and there stood Virginia with her own cell phone in hand. She told us to use the phone as long as needed. What an understanding lady who instantly went out of her way to solve our pending problem, This particular Best Western hotel if so fortunate to have a lady of this quality and integrity. Thank you Virginia.

    5
    « Loved the pool »

It isn't often we are able to stay at a hotel with an indoor pool and this one proved to be a quiet place for me to exercise in. Beds were very soft - not my favorite kind...but have a pillow top on them I think

    5
« very welcoming, clean and informative! »

The check in went smoothly, the room was very clean and just what we needed! The two ladies at the front desk were beyond amazing and helpful! The free continental breakfast even included sausage and eggs. Surprising to us! The location was nice and peaceful! Faces the back of the teton mountains and the sunrise is breathtaking!
