Best Western Corpus Christi

What I liked: 'Located in the downtown area, right in front of the marina. Everything is close. It's an easy walk to downtown restaurants and bars. The beds and linens were soft and comfortable. The staff were EXCEPTIONAL - friendly, helpful, proactive. What I liked less: "Ocean view" is a little deceptive. The windows are located perpendicular to the ocean. If you look out your window and lean to the left a bit you can see the marina. Mostly you see the Whataburger. The bed pillows are very small. The bathtub is the tiniest I have ever seen in a hotel. I could tell that at one time the sliding doors to the outside were operable but for some reason they are now all sealed shut. This was true in our room as well as the common areas upstairs.

We were walk-ins and were met with a smile. Parking was plentiful. The Gulf was right across the street and beautiful views of a marina. THe view was of the sunset over the marina. We only stayed one night and will definitely return on our next trip

This was our go to place to stay in Corpus Christi but first time back in a few years. Sadly the little balconies are no longer accessible, our microwave only sometimes worked and the shower was not as clean as in the past. The 11th floor breakfast was still great, but for the price + parking, it no longer meets my expectations. We were on the 9th floor facing the water close to Shoreline Blvd (almost as far away from Water Street as possible) and we could not sleep with the loud band music emanating from a patio on Water, west of the hotel. Both Friday and Saturday night til 1am. I could sing along with lyrics and feel the percussion. Added to that cacophony, that part of Shoreline has become a drag strip. Sadly, for anyone who goes to bed early or with littles, this is not a great choice on the weekend.

Hotel, was clean, neat, friendly staff, breakfast was good. Had absolutely no issues with anything. They offered free parking. Car was safe and so where we. Within walking distance of attractions. Gave us brochures and information on what to do around town.

I stayed on jan 30, the rooms were clean the staff was friendly. Theview of shoreline was nice. I will go again and stay there , the price of the room was in my budget. So the overall of the rating was 5 stars . So i do recommended this hotel for the ones that want to stay in corpus.

This was a sad visit, a funeral, but Mandy always treats me like her own family and makes me feel welcomed. Save a ton of money on full breakfast buffet. View in all rooms is beautiful plus view at bar and restaurant is breathtaking. Love it!

Have stayed here several times. Check in is excellent. If a room in your booking grade is available they will allow you to check in early. Very nice rooms either excellent views of the bay. Close to everything downtown. Room was clean and comfortable. There is a nice bar on 11th floor with good happy hour drinks. The best part of the stay is the fantastic breakfast complete with eggs, sausage, huge biscuits, waffles, and tacos. I will stay here any time in town during off season.

Had to pay deposit to book was charged different amount at check in then charged again 3 days into my stay front desk was extremely rude and aggressive had to call customer service to get refund. Front desk said “they do NOT” require deposit however customer service stated different. It's a shame that one person can change your out view. At check in was helped by Crimson who was beyond helpful however the lady working Saturday night was argumentative upon me asking a question.

Nice hotel! The location is fabulous! Walking distance to several restaurants and the T-heads! Beautiful views from our room, the breakfast room and the 11th floor bar! We didn't use the pool, but it looked very clean and inviting. The included breakfast was typical hotel fare and was well stocked with plenty of options. My only complaint is that the pillows our room were a little too firm for me. Can't meet everyone's pillow desires though.

This hotel has 11 floors and the top floor houses a large eating area for breakfast as well as a large lounge with bar and nice seating. The view from the lounge is 270 degrees and affords a nice view of downtown and the bay. There was a good assortment for the free breakfast. I like a firm bed and mine was good.

I traveled to Corpus for my 50th HS reunion and chose to stay at the Best Western Shoreline. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. All the rooms have a bay front view. I had a king room, which was small but fairly comfortable. The room had a large flat screen TV and a microwave and fridge. The breakfast (included) was on the top floor, with great views. It was a buffet with hot food and cold food, as well as waffles. One of the nicest included breakfasts I've had. The pool was nice and not too hot, considering the air temps were between about 95 and 104. No umbrellas, though. It was closed my last full day there, unfortunately. Parking is covered so the car didn't get too hot. Overall a nice stay. There are many restaurants within walking distance.

The staff here is exceptional, especially Thalia Martinez in sales. Very enjoyable stay, nice and clean. Great view of the Corpus Christi Bay! This will be our "go-to" hotel when visting the Corpus Christi area.

Rooms are dated but fairly clean. Pool was awesome. Location was great. Parking should be free as most of lot was empty. Breakfast needs more variety, healthy choices but biscuits were fabulous. Very generous with their towels , but it is a waterfront location. Most staff very pleasant.

For the price we could have just paid a little more and got a better hotel. It was like a motel 6 with 10 floors of rooms vs just one. Stains all over the floor. Outlets were out. The ac didn't turn down luckily it wasn't in the 100s. Balcony didn't open. They stand and watch you for the last hour of using the pool and then keep reminding you they close in one hour. Then 30 min. Then 20. Then 10. Then 5. And follow you out of the pool. My wife felt that she was being watching while in her bikini

Great hotel very clean. The lounge has an excellent view. Front desk personnel were extremely rude. The rooms were updated and the whole facility was clean. Again, the only bad experience were the two ladies at the front that could use some training or find a different line of work.

Checking in is a breeze staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The elevators are kinda small but that's ok the room upon entering was extremely cold which I like the balcony door is sealed shut the bed is qaud wrapped and had big stains on it which is unsettling but no bugs and was comfy. Breakfast on the top floor was great with a amazing view and check out was a breeze. Overall I rate this hotel in the low 80% range.

After a horrific experience at a hotel down the street that is on the beach, we packed up and fled to this hotel. The staff here were professional, rapid and caring. The property was clean, modern and felt safe. So glad we switched in the middle of the night. This hotel saved our Corpus Christi trip. Fun virtual agent available in lobby. Great a/c and lovely shower. Friendly staff. There was a man down on his luck if you will wandering around and staff/security handled the situation promptly, respectfully and safely. They went on to check the rest of the floors etc. I was impressed to see this unfolding as discreetly as they could handle it. Large spaces for work outs, meetings, swimming. Luggage carts available Parking lot is large Beds were amazing. So comfy and clean. Would return again.

Perfect location, and the most beautiful view Day and night. The staff were very helpful. Resourceful. Very casual atmosphere in the bar sitting area. Many drinks to choose from. View of the bay at night was perfect.

Stayed 5 nights. Hotel in very good condition, but not "brand new". did n't have any significant issue. AC a bit noisy, old style thermostat not clear how to use (remove cover), no instructions for TV in room, finally found a channel guide by accident. Breakfast was very good with wide variety, scram'd eggs, meat varies by day, potatoes, Biscuits and Gravy, cereal / oatmeal, waffles. Juices, tea, coffee etc. etc. $10 /day for parking they don't tell you about anywhere that i remember (though it is covered parking!). Beach within walking distance, but easier to drive and park (free) at city park ~1/4 mile. Also Marina across the street. Some Nice $$$ Restaurants within walking distance, not much else. Great view of the bay from 11th floor bar 5pm-12pm. No bugs, This is a 11 story building. Pool (didn't use), laundry (did use), fitness center (didn't use)

Rooms are nice and very clean. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. The view from the breakfast room is spectacular! Air conditioner works well. Walking across the street to the water was great. Whataburger next door has two-stories and an outdoor dining area on the top floor.

Front desk is exemplary. They make check in and check out smooth and even fun. I love coming here and knowing my room is going to be ready, and super clean. Breakfast is also exemplary. Always plenty of food for everyone. Such a variety. I love the sunrise at breakfast! I love the view of the marina.

Although the hotel could use some updating, it was super clean and the staff were fantastic!!! Summer at the front desk checked me in and was super helpful that night and the next when I had questions. And she was so nice. The bartender in the upstairs lounge was great. Definitely go to the 11th floor lounge - all glass walls looking out into the water and the boats. Absolutely stunning! And it was a great place for a cocktail !! The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet and had a great view. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel!!

This hotel is our hotel of choice when visiting Corpus Christi. The staff are amazing and always make you feel welcomed. The rooms are great. Beds are comfy. We love that there are so many places to see and enjoy withing walking distance of the hotel. Highly recommend it.

The rooms are just really run down. When we tried to figure out how to turn the air up or down the thermostat would just fall off. I don't know how to explain that better because I've never seen a thermostat so old and broken. And this happened in two different rooms. The air conditioning made a terrible noise and was EXTREMELY loud. I had to ask for ear plugs and I could still hear it. And there was some fire alarm or something in the room that would blink a bright white light every 45 seconds. The worst part was the shower area. The ceiling is the same ceiling you see in office building that's tiles you can just push up. I don't know how y'all got away with that ceiling in a bathroom, especially with no ventilation fan. The ceiling tiles were moldy (obviously) so I can't imagine how much mold was actually within the ceiling. It was so gross. Also, I tried to go out on my balcony because I had an ocean view and wanted to enjoy it but there were two weird locks and the door was glued shut. It was like that in another room also. The hotel is on the ocean. Why would you not let costumers on their balcony?

Excellent service checking in! Very professional and friendly staff! We will definitely be back ! They hosted our company party; the food was superb and the bartenders were able to serve everyone really fast! The view from the 11th floor is breathtaking.

Best Western on Shoreline in Corpus Christi went above and beyond my expectations. The moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile. I had so many questions and the front desk associate answered them all. She even helped with directs and suggestions on good places to eat, shop, and to get our nails done. The rooms are so spacious and clean. The views are breathtaking. The showers will make you want to stay in longer. The breakfast that is served is AMAZING! Top Notch. Fresh and good. Again, the views while you have dinner is so nice and relaxing. A perfect way to start your day. Close to the beaches, museums, shopping, piers, and the Texas State Aquarium and the Lexington.

I stay here often and the staff is always awesome! Bridgette, Summer, Mandy, Alyssa and Priscilla at the lounge and the house keeping employee that helped find my IPad (I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name) are and have always been amazing! I never stay anywhere else when in town for work!

Although the hotel was clean and in acceptable condition, it was older than I expected. Slight issue with hot water but was fixed quickly. AC was very cold when we arrived but was gradually getting warmer. Luckily it wasn't a hot day. Probably will choose a different BW next trip.

Though this property is old, it was extremely clean, had a great view of the harbor and is dog friendly. We had issues with no hot water and very loud, intermittent plumbing noises, but the hotel manager correctly provided a nominal credit to our account for the inconvenience. Mandy was working the front desk virtually 24/7…. but was always cheerful, friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel even with the issues, since the staff was quick to address problems and the hotel was so clean!

Hot water for showers only 1 day out of 5. Cold water rest of time. Water pipes sounded like they were going to shake out of walls. Could hear it from next room. Elevators getting stuck and trapping people between floors on several occasions. Trash in halls outside doors, no one picks up trash. Only good qualities were front desk staff, view from 11th floor breakfast area, and cold air conditioning.

Wonderful staff. They had rooms as we arrived early. The view was great. The breakfast ladies were wonderful and had everything ready in the mornings. The front desk lady were very friendly and accommodating. A PLUS stay

The staff are very helpful! Amanda and Summer always make you feel right at home. The rooms are clean and it is close to some great restaurants. It also has a short walk to the beach which is nice!

My family & I normally stay elsewhere, but wanted to give Best Western a try since it was close to the beach. We were pleasantly surprised! Everything was clean, staff was very friendly, & the complimentary breakfast was on point. Will definitely be back.

Bartender has no talent for making mixed drinks. She was very rude to our group and would literally roller her eyes and walk away even before we could finish putting our drink orders in. She would however cater to her friends with a smile. Very unprofessional.

Adequate, but not for the price. No safety bars in shower. No tissues in bathroom. Street noise significant, at least on the fifth floor. Parking is a problem due to a lack of space. Bar and breakfast location, excellent.

The location is great, close to everything. Staff was friendly at check in. Room i was in needs some maintenance done in it. The old sliding doors they have screwed closed with rusty hardware and nasty caulk need to go. The road noise thru them is loud, and they need to be taken out and some insulated windows put in. Pool was cloudy, and tiles around it were nasty filthy , it needs attention. Breakfast is very good, and room was clean. Poor maintenance all together of quite a few things.

Management went over and beyond to help us with our reservation. Bridgette and other lady I. front Desk were wonderful. Bartender at Bar was also very friendly.The bar upstairs was beautiful! Rooms were very clean. We really enjoyed our stay!

The location has the best view I've ever seen. The location is great. Within walking distance to good restaurants and right across the street from the water. A short distance to the Selena memorial. Will definitely stay there again.

The top floor breakfast was as advertised EXCELLANT, The front desk staff was great (Summer) went way above and beyond, is dog friendly also. The location really makes this hotel IDEAL--3 piers across the street(seafood rest.& bars) a 24 hour whataburger joint next door, And the BEST oyster bar/rest behind this place. We were not planning on a re-visit BUTTTT we will be planning a revisit here soon again.

Stayed for one night on a business trip earlier this week. The hotel overall was okay which I expected. Not my usual go to but Corpus a Christi lacks in the hotel arena so we went with what was best rated on TripAdvisor. The room was clean, aged a bit but I guess that happens with time. Exceptional free breakfast. There was something for everyone offered at their breakfast buffet making it the highlight of our stay. Great location near the beach and walking distance to several restaurants.

Front desk ladies were very nice and answered all of our questions. Rooms were very clean!. The view outside was amazing. Great tasting breakfest and alot of options. Everyone was very friendly. Especially the breakfast manager.

We requested a high room to minimize noise from the street. We were assigned a room on the 9th floor. What we did not realize is that their is a bar (Executive Surf Club) located directly behind the hotel. They have an outdoor stage with live music playing very loud. The music went on until after 10pm. This was on a Thursday night. If you care about sleeping before 10pm DO NOT STAY HERE!

This is the place to stay if your in the area. Food, accommodations and staff were great. The lounge is on the top floor and overlooks Corpus Christi Bay. A really great place to hang out and relax. The l;location was in the heart of downtown Corpus close to everything essential. You can't go wrong with the best Best Western in Texas. .

The service was great. The 2 nights I stayed were enjoyable. Don't have any complaints. And the room was decent. The breakfast was good. Plenty of options to choose from. And the coffee tasted pretty good.

We've stayed at this hotel the last three times we've come to corpus and had nothing but great service With an extremely helpful And friendly staff and a clean room every time. Will definitely stay here on our next trip.

We arrived early on a Sunday in July from Oklahoma. They made every effort to check us in early. We waited by the pool, noting its very green color and cheerful maintenance worker. Each day, they told us the pool would be ready in 24 hours. Upon checkout, Bridget refused to give us an adjustment, telling me they knew on Sunday the pool wouldn't be ready all week and had offered to relocate us! No, they didn't. She also didn't give me a receipt, just hammered my credit card. I had to ask another guest service person to print a receipt for me. She told me it was fine if I wrote a bad review. The hotel is very old but completely functional. It was quite a walking distance to the beach (the views were great). This is not the place to stay if you are not a walker. My friend had knee problems and couldn't walk far. We ubered everywhere, which added greatly to the expense. Honestly, the free breakfast was the best thing about staying here. Bridget aside, the regular staff were polite and congenial.

Excellent location - great view and convenient, wonderful staff, comfortable stay, rooms had floor to ceiling windows and view of marina/gulf, delicious hot breakfast on the top floor with lots of windows, natural light and space. Rooms are cold even with 100 degree weather, updated shower, good water pressure and drain. Downside: small elevators, noise getting through walls between rooms and a little dated

It was a wonderful experience! Everyone was nice and helpful. The staff and bartenders were very friendly The breakfast buffet was great.The view in the our room and lounge were amazing. I definitely recommend it. It was close and convenient to restaurants.

Great Hotel at Great Location. You just have to cross the street and you are on Marina. If u are morning walker this is one of the best location. Just 8 mins drive to North Beach and USS Lexington and 25 mins to Whitecap beach. The best part is all the rooms have Marina view. Spacious and clean rooms. Higher the floor better the view. The hotel has ample covered parking place which is great in the hot temperatures. Highlight of the hotel is “full breakfast”, literally full :) accompanied with great views of Marina from 11th floor. Overall great stay, will visit again.

All ways greated with a smile. The bar on the top floor is a great way to close out the evening with a great view of the marina! It is also a short walk to local restaurants downtown. So far I have always enjoyed my stays.

Summer and Alyssa at guest services are both helpful and friendly. My experience was most definitely enhanced by their professionalism and service. I will continue to stay here when on business in town multiple times a month.

Chose this hotel do to location. It was our first visit to CC in years. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Clean hotel and rooms, great breakfast, plenty of stuff to do around the hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely a hotel to consider when visiting CC!

Had a wonderful time at the hotel. It's HOT in TEXAS. The air condition was so cold that we had to turn it down, but we loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and welcoming. Housekeeping was asking us if we needed anything, before we asked. Breakfast was so good. It was not your typical continental breakfast. We will be back.

Great stay, friendly staff. Plant ops are a little old, would love to be able to sit on the balcony. Otherwise wonderful stay. Would not hesitate to recommend. Beautiful bay and marina views. Dont miss out.

We stayed here 6/22 - 6/25 for our 33rd anniversary. Our first time to visit this area. The hotel was very nice. The free hot breakfast on the top floor was very good with lots of options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Came to town for one night and brought my dog - ended up breaking my ankle and had to have emergency surgery :-( this hotel worked with us every way they could with me constantly havey my to extend my stay - leaving my dog there by himself for hours because my mom was at the hospital with me: so kind and understanding!

Top notch! Clean, great location, friendly service,great value. The breakfast was fabulous and the view was extraordinary. From check in to check out it was a great hotel. Lots of water pressure and great shower head. AC was cold. Easy access parking.

I picked this hotel because it was close to where I needed to be for business. Very easy to park, great view of the marina,and close to many great restaurants. I received a text saying my room is ready on the day of my arrival. I was greeted as I arrived, check-in was very smooth and my room was in great shape. Very clean and ready for my stay. I will definitely stay here again.

Would like to thank the front desk agent Summer for the great welcome and customer service. Also received exceptional service from Housekeeping Supervisor Anita for helping us with out check out. There are very few carts in this hotel making it difficult to get our belongings out of the room. Anita assisted us to get everything out so we could gave smooth check out. This hotel is my favorite in the Corpus Christi area. They have always made me feel welcome and have always exceeded my expectations. The location being directly on the coast makes my stay a relaxing experience after a busy day. The lounge on the 11th floor which overlooks the ocean is a great way to end the day.

No bad views at this hotel. You can easily get a great view at the bar or the pool if your room doesn't suffice. Very quality amenities - bar, lounge area, pool with a deck above to hang out, fitness room, laundry, dog friendly, and much more! Easy access to public beaches. Green space close by for dog walks. Highly recommend. Great service and clean. Covered parking and additional overflow lot available.

Took the family on a little weekend getaway and stayed here.this place is located right across from marina.the view is breath taking.the rooms are very well kept and comfy beds! The breakfast is excellent.they have a full Hot breakfast that consists of eggs ,potato's,biscuits and gravy,even includes oatmeal and fresh sliced fruit! The staff is very friendly great atmosphere!

One of the 2 guest elevators was completely out of service the entire stay. We were allowed to use the freight elevator which was out of service 75% of the stay. Our room was on the 9th floor. It was quicker to take the stairs up to the room rather than wait for the one working elevator that was crowded with guests and luggage. We also had 3 occasions where our room key failed to function. On one occasion it was after I hiked up the stairs, and then had to come back down to get a new key and then had to hike back up while my wife sat in the lobby waiting for me. I am 64 years old. I was wondering how long it would take the paramedics to find me in the stair well if I collapsed. This hotel should be shut down for unsafe conditions until the elevators are replaced.

The room was nice, a little newer and with a normal Best Western setup except there was a shower and no tub, which I liked. Very clean and very comfortable bed. Good swimming pool area with shade and a breeze on upper deck. Appreciated the nice laundry facilities, sundry shop, and business center. Sub sandwich shop was okay in a pinch but a noodle bowl or rice bowl or modern pizza might do better here. Loved the free covered parking. Lounge on 11th floor is a gem. Low-key loungy cocktail vibe and incredible view! Friendly staff across property are genuinely interested in assisting guests. Pleasantly responded to all requests, including two stay extensions. So nice not to hear a single complaint by any of the staff anywhere on the property during my entire 2-week stay. Across street from piers and shoreline promenade. Walked to office, restaurants and museums. The area was busy over Easter weekend but otherwise pretty uncrowded for a downtown location on Corpus Christi Bay. Is along a quieter part of bay but there is one motorcycle deadbeat without a muffler who races along Shoreline late each night. Can't be helped by the Best Western but thought I better mention it because anyone staying here will definitely hear it. The full breakfast served by the amazing team on the 11th floor each morning tops this great place to stay off. Immaculate, delicious, wide choice of selections, and again, that view! 5 stars.

We had a nice experience here. The staff was very nice and always available. Breakfast very satisfying, bar area had a beautiful view (drinks reasonable) and the bartender was friendly. Parking free and right outside the door. Our room was clean and quiet.

Stayed here in the past and they have only improved on what was already great service. Breakfast is good including the biscuits and gravy! Location is excellent being right across from the beach and within walking distance of everything else ;-)

The location, amenities, and staff were all amazing. Breakfast options were tasty, vast, and staff was friendly; to top it off the view of the bay makes for a lovely way to start your day! I'd highly recommend this location to anyone!

The hotel is always very clean. The staff is very nice. Ali in the 11th floor bar is the best bartender anywhere!!!! The free breakfast Buffett is better than any hotel I have ever stayed at and the staff that cooks breakfast takes pride in their jobs!!!

We had a nice stay once we we moved to a room that had hot water. Staff was helpful, room was comfortable and the bathroom nice but could us a coat of paint. The views were wonderful and the full breakfast buffet was outstanding. Anything and everything you could want...made fresh. The ladies serving breakfast was so nice. Easy free parking. Close to several nice restaurants.

Upon arrival at the hotel we were informed the pool was closed, which is one of the reasons we booked here. N0 warning on website of pool unavailable. We decided to stay anyway and make the best of it. Luckily we were on a lower floor because of the issues with the elevators. We then figured out that our room does not lock, no key needed just walk right in. When informing the front desk the personal were not friendly and rude, I actually told her it seemed like she had an attitude and would never normally do that. Juan the maintenance man was very pleasant to work with and I give him credit. Now it is 82 and sunny and we sit in our room awaiting the door repairs. Not once was it offered to move us while this was done. At the end of the day I would not stay here again, Having front desk staff that are nice and helpful goes a long way.

The location is so convenient for my work & it's close to local experiences too (Selena statue is one)! As a gal traveling alone I really like the top floor bar as to not have to depart the premises to enjoy a late night cocktail or glass of wine. Plus Melissa provides outstanding service at the roof top bar.

Clean rooms, nice beds, front desk staff are nice, breakfast staff super friendly and the breakfast is good as well. Coffee in breakfast area is good and the breakfast area is clean with a really good view

Points given for friendly staff, nice location and good breakfast. The room left a lot to be desired. The website boasts the rooms have balconies. Although technically this is true, the doors are sealed so you can't be out on the balcony. Everything was worn and in need of an update. Stains on walls, grout falling apart, carpet was worn and grungy. Bathroom had a shower and toilet - no sink. The sink was in the the room so if you used the bathroom during the night, you had to turn on a light in the room to wash your hands, etc. Will spend my money elsewhere when returning to the area.

THE POSITIVE REVIEWS HERE ARE FAKE!!! This place is absolutely horrible, and horribly overpriced, We checked in on points, the room was $200 so I thought it must be good, after all the OMNI is a block away for $239. This place was so bad that we left a little after we got there. We complained to Best Western and the front desk and they refused to give us our money back. I used a bunch of points to stay at this dump and they wouldnt give them back. The sliders were literally glued shut, there was green mold literally four feet high on the sliders. the view was great, if we could ignore looking through green mold. The management said "Well the mold is on the outside, not the inside, so the room is clean!" If that seems logical to you, then you probably deserve to stay in this hole. Spend the extra $40 and go to the Omni or Spend $130 and stay at a Fairfield by Marriot like I had to do, it felt like a clean mansion compared to this gross old dump. The place literally needs to be leveled. The manager Bridget Moeller needs to be fired, she literally laughed at us yelling through the phone at Summer saying there was no way they were going to refund the room because we had "put our bags in the room already" (know your worth Summer work someplace that treats you right). Only one elevator works of course. GOODBYE BEST WESTERN!! Last time I ever book a BW property. They are allowing too many gross dumps. This property needs to be leveled and replaced with a nice hotel.

Room was clean and orderly and staff was helpful and friendly. AC could've blown colder but it was alright. Wifi was good for my fire stick. Breakfast was great with plenty of whatever you could want.

Customer service was great!!! Breakfast view was great because it was in the 11th floor. The hotel was a bit dirty but other than that everything was great! Great hot breakfast! We loved that it was so close to the bay and Selena Memorial and Whataburger!

Great property in prime location. All the staff were cheerful and helpful. The included breakfast was a bonus and the food service staff attending couldn't have been more helpful! Everybody from the front desk staff to chatting with the maintenance man was a positive experience!

The Beds were hard and the rooms were dirty. The elevator sounded like it was going to fall apart. The front desk was very rude. I asked to change rooms the next room had sticky floors in the bathroom.

Don't judge a book by its cover. I travel a lot and I must say, when we pulled up to the hotel we were a little skeptical - dead palm trees, a dated blue color, and lobby with outdated furniture. But after that, it was all wonderful!! The staff was friendly, room was clean and well maintained, the free breakfast was wonderful, and the location couldn't be beat. Plus, the 11th floor Grandview Lounge was awesome - a great place to start each evening with drinks that were reasonably priced. We traveled with our two dogs and loved that the property is so pet friendly. We'd come back in a heartbeat - don't be put off by the dated exterior & lobby.

Upscale room, everything clean, GREAT free hot Breakfast, beautiful views, friendly and helpful staff incredible views of USS Lexington, and city's Marina, walk to restaurants or Downtown; great location.

This is a nice hotel in a great location. The hot breakfast was delicious, and the views of the marina and the gulf were beautiful. The staff was friendly and the property was clean and in good order. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

We had previously stayed at a nearby “nicer” hotel, but we were not impressed. They charge extra for everything. We decided to try this hotel, and we were VERY pleasantly surprised. Free (very good) breakfast, free wifi, and the room was very clean and comfy. We didn't drink at the 11th floor bar, but it seemed like a cool spot (with a view).

The views were spectacular! The best breakfast buffet and such friendly servers! Choices of eggs, sausage, fresh pastries, cereal, yogurt with topping choices. Walking distance to many restaurants! There was a coffee shop and also a sandwich shop on the main floor. Covered parking garage at no charge.

Rooms, lobby, workout room, and breakfast spaces were very clean and in order (ie. paint, carpet, etc). Friendly personnel. Convenient to boardwalk and restaurants. Great views from higher floors. Will stay here again and again.

For the third year, our soccer team has stayed at this location in Corpus Christi. Each year, the staff has been so friendly, helpful and accommodating for any needs we had during our stay. Such consistent service each year!

I stayed at this hotel from October 17th, 2021 thru October 20th, 2021. On the first morning I noticed a dark stain on the inside wall of my shower. That night I went to the bar located on the floor directly above my room. I noticed a pool of water in the restroom area. I realized the stain on my shower wall was emanating from a leaking toilet. I called maintenance who informed me they would take care of the problem immediately. The stains reappeared the following morning. It was disgusting. I asked for a refund or credit for my stay. The manager explained she could only offer a credit for ONE NIGHT. I NEVER RECEIVED THE CREDIT! IT WAS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE THAT MY STAY WAS NOT FULLY COMPED! STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK. I have tied several times to upload pictures with no success.

This hotel is like playing poker and not consistent. Some team members are great! Others are the worst I've experienced in my lifetime. Bridget at the front desk hurts this Business and the quality of stay for guest. Oscar is awesome in the breakfast area.

Aly was an Amazing bar tender and person. She made my wife and I have an Amazing bring in of the New Year. Lots of fun and great drinks. She let us know where the best spot to see fireworks were the previous night and she was right. We got to see a Great Firework show. I have to mention that the Free breakfast every morning was a really nice spread. Everything tasted so good. Thanks

Stayed there for 1 night and it has been one of the best hotels we have stayed at the staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding lots to choose from and room was clean and tidy. Nice to walk to visit the Selena monument.

When someone makes a point of telling you how overly great something is, it usually isn't. This held true when this hotel mentioned that it was well-maintained. I'm not sure what standard they use but the hotel could use some maintenance. A guy called the desk while we were standing there because the air conditioner was not working. The hot water in the shower is lukewarm at best and the cold water is also lukewarm at best. Dirt in crevices and erosion many places. The staff tries hard but it's evident they haven't sunk much money into details. However, the breakfast was REALLY good.

We arrived early after a long road trip and inquired about checking in early with the front clerk. They were able to accommodate our request. The clerk was very friendly and helpful.. The hotel is centrally located by the water front. Upon entering the room we found it to very clean and updated. The sliding door to the balcony was secure and unable to open but the view was great.

All the staff was really helpful and friendly. Aesthetics were good enough for the price. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Nice amenities especially if there for an extended stay. Only real complaint was only one elevator was working my entire weekend, the others were under repair

This hotel is well maintained and the staff was super helpful and prompt. The location was ideal and it was easy to get around town. While there are bigger hotels in Corpus, their size made it seem more inviting. Definitely would stay again.

I can't say enough about the location, the beautiful views of the marina, the friendly helpful staff, and the wonderful breakfast. This time I complement the chef for the perfectly cooked crispy bacon!

Only 1 elevator in a Very Big hotel, I was there a year ago and I think only 1 elevator was available then too, the toilets are very loud when flushing, as noisy as the toilet in high school. I was woken up by the sound 2 night out of 3. The wait time to get in the tiny elevator is extremely long

Staff were friendly and professional. Excellent customer service. The breakfast buffet was very delicious and satisfying. The view of boat deck was amazing. Easy access to the freeway. Lots of great restaurants conveniently located.

We enjoyed this place, the location, value for the money and service. Check in and out is super fast, we always found parking, the pet area has poop bags, staff is friendly, rooms are comfortable, they have coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, tv, a desk to,workmcomfortable and r charge electronics, there is also a safe in the room, along with an iron, ironing board, hair dryer and basic toiletries. One elevator was out of service and the other one way too slow. The first time we stayed, both elevators worked, we got a better room at a higher floor. Second time we stayed, we were told that guests with pets are limited to stay on 3rd floor. Not a deal breaker, we would recommend as the location is very good, you find restaurants right behind the hotel at walking distance. In a nutshell, I recommend it, you will be comfortable and have all you need to enjoy your stay, for business or leisure.

This property was our "go to" hotel in Corpus Christi until our last visit. When we arrived, all but one elevator was working. There was a constant wait as so many guests were trying to share one elevator. The last day, the last working elevator went out, forcing many guest to walk up many flights of stairs. Some were as high as 11 floors. Some guests were elderly and some with medical conditions. In addition, I was told by the manager that there would be no compensation. Shame On You!!! Not going back!

Needed a hotel close to the Art Center. This is it. Only one block away. Very clean. Yummy breakfast. Great employees. Close to restaurants. View of the marina from the 8th floor was awesome. Would definitely come back and highly recommended for others.

Very nice location. I really liked the bed, very firm & not too soft. The view from room was great. Shower was also nice. The bad thing was only one of two elevator was working. There was construction going on in the 5th floor, so sometimes waiting for the one elevator took awhile due to workers. Also there are 3 spaces available for unloading & loading but the workers took those spaces, which was a bit inconsiderate to visitors. But the location is the nicest part as well as the location for bar & breakfast (the 11th floor).

We have been staying there several times with no problems but this time (the weekend of Nov. 6th and 7th, 2021) there were some serious issues. One was (and has been) the traffic noise going on late at night it being right on a busy avenue. The noise was so loud it triggered car alarms several times. It sound like drag racing every few minutes late into the night. So don't count on sleeping until very late at night. Second, there is no maid service you request it at the front desk, their failure to let us know. Third, 1/2 of the elevaters was out so everyone including the staff had to use one elevator. Otherwise it was Ok.

We spent a night here to celebrate our anniversary and enjoyed it tremendously. Our room was clean and the hotel was quiet. Beds were comfy and breakfast was good, with more selections of hot food than most places. Checking in and out was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lounge on the 11th floor was a treat after a day on the beach. The location is pretty with so much within walking distance. We plan to go back!

The two front desk ladies were incredible! So friendly and personable. Summer was helpful, courteous and really cares about her job. Delma was also super friendly and helpful! Room was clean, bed was comfy, great view of the ocean. The breakfast was the best Hotel breakfast we have ever had! Fresh homemade tortillas, great variety and the breakfast staff was also friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this place.

The location is perfect for walking around the t-heads , having some great seafood and scootering along the sea wall . From the moment we checked in all of the staff was welcoming . The room was clean and the ac was chilly ( which is tough to accomplish in such a humid and warm area ) . Was pleasantly surprised how new and clean the rooms were because this hotel has been there a while . The breakfast is top notch . Everything you would want and more . Josie was keeping the trays full and greeted everyone with a sweet smile . Ceased Herrera was pleasant to everyone and visited table to table with great suggestions about the island . Our son in in school At TAMUCC and this just became our go-to place to stay ! Great job!!

I rarely have the need to write very negative reviews - mostly because I use the opinions of everyone here to select where I stay. This hotel has pretty good ratings and I felt the need to let others know of my experience so that they can make a better choice when checking these same reviews. After a long day of travel, we were ready for a quick dinner and rest. Arrived around 10:30pm. The person at the desk was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. She told me two of the three elevators were out of service and that there was construction in the building. Got to my room on an upper floor, three of the five lights in the room were inoperable. Not a big deal…however, as we started to get settled in, I pulled down the sheets. Disgusting find: Very obvious BROWN STAINS ON THE SHEETS. Beyond the brown/blood stains, the sheets looked unchanged from the previous occupant. There's no doubt housekeeping would have seen the stains when making up the bed. I took pictures to show the clerk. It certainly didn't give me any confidence in the cleanliness overall. Loaded our stuff up, went back down to the lobby and informed a very apologetic and embarrassed desk clerk. She was, again, very kind and assigned us a different room. Arrived at the other room and the keys didn't work. Again, minor issue and it happens from time to time but now we're in a bad trend here. Okay….lug all of our stuff back to the one operating elevator…and head back down to the lobby. Now the clerk is clearly uncomfortable, apologizes again and rescans key cards. She asked on-call maintenance to come up to make sure we got in the room. When we arrived back at the second room, all our stuff in tow, the keys worked! Entered the room and all of the lights worked! Room feels a little warm so go to set thermostat lower to get the room cooling and…..it's already set at lowest setting. Blowing warm air. At the same time there's a knock at the door and it's maintenance making sure we got in the room. I asked him to come into the room where he confirmed the AC wasn't working. We were then back off to the one operating elevator and the lobby with all our stuff (maintenance came along for the ride) to talk to the desk. Clerk was again apologetic but at this point, how far does that really go? She now tried a third room. Back on the one elevator (which even this late at night was busy enough that it added more time to this entire fiasco) dragging all of our stuff and to the final room where lights worked, ac worked and the sheets seemed clean enough. I stay in all levels and brands of hotels and motels and understand what to expect from a particular level. First and foremost, I ALWAYS expect the hotel and rooms to be clean. Old happens, minimal amenities happen, construction happens, and mistakes happen. But DIRTY/STAINED SHEETS, INOPERABLE AC, AND NUMEROUS BROKEN IN-ROOM ITEMS over three different rooms is unacceptable no matter which property you choose. I would recommend you stay away from this property until there are additional consistently good reviews that it earns the rating it had when I booked. At checkout, I notified the hotel manager (Bridget) what happened the night before. While I was impressed with the night clerk's response to the very bad situation, I was a little disappointed that she had not notified the manager of the mess that happened on her shift. After completing the automated Best Western survey I received a mostly form letter response asking to stay again to see if they can meet my expectations – much like you see on TA in response to negative reviews. I wouldn't roll the dice.

Stayed on Sep 25 night - location of hotel is very nice and hotel rooms open perpendicular to the shore so you will not get a direct view but you do get a view Our stay was good except they unfortunately had a boiler pipe burst that night with water flowing down from top floor. So after paying 200+ for a night could not access their lounge bar on top floor so missed that experience. Elevators were small and only 1 was working so guests had to use stairs next day. The hot water was out on Sunday so no showers. Breakfast was good variety cakes, bread, waffles and served on top floor with beautiful shoreline view - they could add Yogurt . Overall the location is very nice right across the marina. Will stay again hoping the problems wont recur and I get a better price.

The front desk ladies were super nice and fast for our check in. The 2 of the 3 elevators were out of order. So employees and guests ALL had to share on elevator all weekend. So we had to wait for e elevator for a bit. When we got into our room, it was SUPER cold. Felt like a freezer. Just turned off the AC and that was cold enough. We were next to the elevator so we can hear the beeping of people coming in and out of the elevators but a pro was we could have easy access to the elevator. We were on the 4th floor where we had easy access to the ice machine. The sliding doors are nailed and sealed shut with calking so you can't go out on the patio. Also since it's hot outside and cold inside it creates condensation so the sliding doors had mold and algae and hard water residue stuck on the outside there fore you don't get a clear view to the outside. Kind gross when you try to enjoy the view but you see that :( I liked how they had food and coffee shop onsite. Parking and breakfast is free so you can't beat that. The breakfast is AWESOME. So much variety and the 11th floor is dedicated to just that including the bar lounge which gives you a view of the ocean and beach. I watched the sunrise from the 11th floor before I got a bite to eat. I recommend that. All the rooms face east and west so you don't actually have a full view of the beach. You gave the buildings and get a half view of the beach and boats. Overall we might stay there again. The decor is bland and not inviting but would stay there because of the breakfast.

You cannot beat the view from the breakfast (free) area. !!!Having happy hour on the 11th floor was fun too. The beds were comfortable and didn't seem to be queen sized as advertised…. More like king sized! I cannot say enough about the staff in the lobby and the servers at breakfast, so polite and professional.

Our stay at this hotel far exceeded my expectations. We especially liked that there was a lounge on-site. We were able to enjoy a few cocktails without leaving the hotel. The hot breakfast was really good too.

I had a few issues this stay but overall this is a good hotel. Great view of the bay and boats. Lot of convenient food places. Overall I would stay here again. Everyone is kind and helpful, rooms are clean, and they have the best breakfast with everything you could wish for. Ask for an updated room to truly get your money worth. I made a mistake of not doing this. In the past I was always beyond satisfied.

This hotel is across the street from the Bay & 4 mins from the beach. My favorite was my morning walks at sunrise to the sound of birds feeding, fishes jumping off the water & anchored boats swaying right to left. Fishing boats passing in the horizon & the big orange sun emerging lazily from the thick gray cloud. It was so beautiful and peaceful.

This was a great spot. The view was terrific, breakfast was perfect for my family. Free WiFi is definitely a plus. Love that there is a coffee shop and lounge within the hotel. This was a great experience! I will definitely be back next year.

My family and I stayed at this hotel just for the night before traveling back home. It was good for that purpose. The beds were more comfortable than most. The hotel could use some cosmetic updates but overall, it was clean and quiet. I would stay again.

I called the local number on 07/25/21 to make a reservation. I mentioned that my wife is handicapped and needs a walk in shower. I was asked to call the 800 number, make a reservation, and call back. The reservation was made. I called back to the hotel. I was told that it was for a 2nd floor handicap room but that all rooms on the 7th floor or higher have walk in showers and that we would not need the 2nd floor option because those showers were designed for rolling in wheel chairs. Also we would see more from higher floors and little street noise. I mentioned that their lanais had no furniture but that was OK because my wife uses a chair walker and I have a chair cane so we could still sit on the lanai. The reservationist said nothing. We arrived on 08/16 to our 9th floor room. The phone was dead. My wife could not get off the toilet because it was low, child sized, and there was no support bar. My wife was unable to take a shower due to the lack of a support bar. I went down stairs to advise about the phone and toilet. Maintenance tried to fix the phone but could not do so. He requested a follow up first thing in the morning. He also put a shower bench with handle next to the toilet. We were also shocked to find that all glass doors leading to lanais are sealed closed and no access to lanais. Had I been told about this, we would not have come. The next morning I complained about the toilet, shower, and mentioned the phone (it was mid-morning). The manager re-requested repair service for the phone. She suggested moving to the 2nd floor which we did not want to do. (We had brought body wipes just in case.) I asked for an allowance in the rate due to the poor way I was handled in the reservation process and the other issues. She refused and stated that we could check out. This was like a slap in the face. Also, the phone was not fixed until after 5 PM! I will never stay there again.

The hotel room was very clean and the rates are reasonable. My family and I enjoyed our time staying at Best Western. We were unsure where to stay but Best Western had the best reviews. I highly recommend them and will go back in the future.

Nice and clean great breakfast and the air conditioning was wonderful. The place is in a prime location for many of the activities around corpus christi. Their is plenty of free parking.We will be staying here again for sure the staff was friendly and helpful.

Went for a family vacation we are so glad we stayed at this hotel. Amazing staff and very cleaned. This Hotel had all the amenities we needed . We enjoyed the walking distance to the beach and the views of the boat marina. Wonderful breakfast and amazing views. Our room was extremely cleaned and spotless.

Best Western met and exceeded all of our expectations. More attention could be paid on making sure the shower walls are cleaned and free of mold and typical shower residue (soap, shampoo, conditioner).

Pros. Room was clean and smelled great, hotel was quiet. They are pet friendly. Great views of the ocean. Breakfast with an ocean view was fabulous. Cons Parking is limited, especially handicapped. Elevators are very small.

Hotel was great! Reasonably priced especially for the area. Font desk was friendly and helpful. Specifically Mandi. The fact that they are pet friendly (for small extra fee) and have specific floors for pet guests made it great. The room was comfy. The bed and pillows were very nice. A/C works like a champ! The breakfast is good. The lounge bar up on the 11th is fantastic. Great place to set and relax in the evenings with an awesome view. Within walking distance of good food and bars. Had a great time here.

Beautiful location in shoreline but extremely old, tired building, which was filthy and loud. roaches were near fridge so I was scared to open it and the bar tender was sneezing every where but refused to don a mask. wanted my room sprayed after seeing the roach and my bed made. was told housekeeping would handle, but this was not done. waste of my hard earned $500!

My family really liked staying here. I liked that the balcony was sealed i have kids it made me feel alot better that the door had a lock at the top that way my kids couldn't leave or open the door when someone knocked. I recommend this hotel for families with little kids.

The Best Western Bay Front Corpus Christi Texas has beautiful views, excellent Breakfast Bar & is close to so many attractions. But only 2 small older elevators is a drawback. Parking is free but a small parking area

We were surprised to find such a well kept property so close to the waterfront. The hotel is walking distance from many restaurants and sites. The prompt and courteous staff was beyond expectations. We are definitely coming back.

Great hotel . It far exceeded my expectations. Rooms were very clean and offered a view of the beach. Breakfast also exceeded my expectations with egg, bacon, sausage, biscuits being offered. The breakfast area was on the top floor which provided a 360 view of the beach. The check in and express check out was the best I've experienced. No waiting on long lines or waiting on paperwork. Staff communicated with me through text daily to ensure that we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Great location (across the street from the water, walking distance to many restaurants). Great views. Rooms were very nice... clean & comfortable beds! I appreciated the generous free breakfast (eggs, bacon, biscuits, individually wrapped bakery items, fruit and make your own waffles). And especially that it's offered until 10 AM so we could sleep in! Although I didn't use the pool, there is an outside shaded sitting area right above it overlooking the boats in the harbor that I very much enjoyed hanging out at. The staff was SUPER friendly. I loved the option to just text them if I needed anything or had a question. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Best Western Corpus Christi. Location, location, location its just right across the bay. just cross the road and we went for long walks enjoying the fresh breeze blowing across the bay. The one thing that stands out is the staff who go out of the way to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast is something my wife and kids were eagerly waiting every day. The spread is excellent and it is open for almost 4 hours makes it very convenient. The staff manning the breakfast counter should be commended for keeping the food filled even when we had a full hotel.

We have been staying at this hotel every time we come to Corpus Christi for years now. We haven't been in a while and this was our first time back in a couple years. Unfortunately, this might have been our last stay. To start, it seems that everything in the area was unreasonably expensive. We only stayed for only one night on a Friday in the beginning of June, and it was still nearly $275 including taxes and fees - and this was the cheapest option. I'm not sure if this was just some sort of post-pandemic surge pricing, but this seems extremely overpriced for what you get. The hotel was problematic, as well. Check in was late - the staff was very polite, but we got a text saying our rooms were ready at 2:00 PM only to show up and be told we would have to wait until 5:00. When we did arrive, the entire floor that our room was on smelled like marijuana the whole time… not a pleasant smell. After getting back from a long and hot day around town, we found out that there was NO HOT WATER in the bathroom once we all tried to take showers and clean up. I understand that we take a lot of things for granted in our society, but I don't think it's reasonable to expect hot water in a shower when you're paying close to $300 a night. Additionally, the free internet did not work, out air conditioner was stuck on a very hot temperature, the mattress was hard as a rock, and there are only two tiny elevators for a fully booked, eleven story hotel which made going up and down problematic. Finally, for some reason, the balcony doors are sealed shut and so you can't even go outside to enjoy the beautiful views of the bay and marina. On a positive note, the hotel is in a great location, the staff is friendly, and, while still dated, the rooms were clean. Unfortunately, there were just too many problems to recommend staying here. We likely won't be back. At these prices, you're better off just spending a couple extra bucks for the Omni, or staying at one of the newer chain hotels away from the waterfront.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at the best Western for our beach vacation! From the very first day I received text messages from the hotel staff to make sure that everything was to my liking and receive text messages throughout my trip making sure that we were satisfied with everything! I have never had another Hotel do that before so that was incredibly awesome! Everyone was incredibly friendly from the guest services to the food services! When I needed towels they were there immediately! I felt the hotel was clean and well taken care of and everything was easily accessible from the pool to the cafeteria and even the laundry room! I absolutely loved that the breakfast area was on the very top floor so that we could enjoy the incredible view with our breakfast! I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again when we return for another beach trip!

We stayed here for business trip for me but family came along for vacation. Hotel was clean and nicely decorated. All hotel staff from the front desk to the breakfast staff to all house keeping and Maintenance that we dealt with were very friendly and willing to help in any way.

Was very upset when we arrived and found the balcony door sealed up so we could not go out on the balcony. The entire hotel is this way. I would not have booked this hotel...had I known this Plus the windows were very dirty so you could not even see the great view. . Did not like the pool either...the bottom is very slippery and the old time pool ladders are hard to get out of the pool...there are no steps.

This hotel was perfect, we had no complaints at all. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of hot food for everyone. The beach is just down the street and there is a great oyster bar restaurant within walking distance. Rooms were clean and spacious with a great view. Customer service was great, all employees greeted you with a smile. It was great I could send my husband up to grab some drinks from the lounge while I stayed in the room with the kiddos. The kiddos enjoyed the pool. Highly recommend.

The 2 ladies in the front counter were very professional and outgoing . It makes a big difference to me when i have a good person in the front counter with a smile. Now a days we dont get that much as customers. Makes it more welcoming. The lady's made our stay even better for us. We enjoyed our stay and will be back for another visit soon hopefully. Hotel pool area has great views to enjoy.

The trip started with a text message welcoming us to the hotel. The message let us know our room was ready and we could check in. The first room we were given did not meet our expectation, the front desk staff immediately changed our room. The room was comfortable and quiet with great views of the bay. The hotel has a wonderful breakfast in a large, easy to social distance room on an upper floor. Great views! We will definately be back.

This hotel is walking distance to many restaurant's and activities. The room was clean quiet and we had an excellent view. The staff were friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel was clean and felt safe.

Hotel staff very friendly. Room was clean and in working order. I looked at a lot of different hotel reviews, trying to find a good one for my family as we stayed in the area. This hotel lived-up to the reviews. Sure, I would have liked the sliding balcony doors on our room to not be sealed shut, but other than that, things were pretty good at the hotel. I read some reviews from others who complained about the smallest things. They act like they're paying a $1,000 a night. They're not. They're paying a fair price and receive a good quality (not luxurious), product in return.

After researching and reading reviews of soo many properties especially Beach front front properties which had really bad reviews for the price. I went with a slightly higher price not so beach front but Marina view at Best Western. I booked at 8am Sunday morning. I called and asked if any rooms would be available. Front Desk said unfortunately not they were booked, but I could call back at 12 and see that's usually when everyone checks out. I went by at 12pm instead of calling. I met the very friendly Desk rep I spoke to on the phone. Mandy, remembered me and said " I told you I'd have your room ready" she was so sweet and friendly. Room was king bed on 8th floor very clean and very comfortable bed. I greatly enjoyed my stay

We had an amazing time at this hotel! Absolutely gorgeous views. The pool was super nice and deeper than most. The breakfast buffet were great. Brandy and delta were awesome at the front desk. The laundry crew were great and Ramon was especially helpful. Thank you so much for the stay

We needed one night in Corpus Christie and decided that the downtown Bay Area would be the perfect location. After reading less than positive reviews for other nearby hotels, we decided to give this Best Western with it's string of positive Trip Advisor reviews a try. We were glad we did. We found that this hotel had an exceptionally nice staff. Front desk and breakfast attendants were especially helpful. The location is great with several restaurant options within walking distance and just a short drive from the aquarium and the USS Lexington. There is a bar on the top 11th floor as well as the dining area for the complimentary breakfast buffet. Both offered great views of the bay. The hotel building itself is obviously older but it seemed to be well maintained. Our room was on the 8th floor and we could see the bay from our window. It was clean and had a few updates including a walk in shower. This hotel was nice enough and comfortable for one night and with breakfast and complimentary parking it was a good value too.

I love staying at the Best Western Marina. The rooms are clean to perfection and staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the best breakfast buffet around the state. Walking up and going to sleep with the marina view is a bonus. I come twice a month and look forward to every stay.

We spent one night here and were very pleased. The location is right down town on the bay and is easy to get to. Plenty of parking and the employees were very efficient and professional. Our room was very good and everything was clean and operating properly. We had no problems. The views from all the rooms are fantastic and the complimentary breakfast was very good and the views from the 11th floor location were superb! Could see the whole city. The rates are great and the service is better. Highly recommend this BW. We will be staying here again in the future.

Our family stayed at Best Western for 3nights. Best western exceeded our expectations. The hotel was very clean! The hotel front desk was very knowledgeable about surrounding areas and provided great restaurant recommendations. Our room were very clean and surprisingly had enough towels and pillows for a family of four. We really enjoyed the breakfast because it had a large range of delicious hot foods and quick grab n go options for our light eaters. Throughout our stay the entire hotel staff was pleasant and always offered there support with a smile. I will definitely stay here again.

Everyone at the hotel were very helpful and the views from the lounge at night are breathtaking. Breakfast was really good too and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds. One thing that we really liked was the shower with the sliding glass doors nothing like the old shower curtains.

I was traveling with 2 small dogs for a medical trip. I'm so glad this hotel actually allows pets. It was nice to be able to travel with them for a change. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room itself was clean. I always check to make sure bedding is actually changed, no bugs, etc. Shower was a little dated but beyond that everything was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good too! Thanks again. We'll be back!

All I can say is thank you. Finally a place that hasn't taken the easy way out. We could still use the pool, fitness area and bar/lounge. Breakfast was a full buffet, not a bag breakfast. Covid was still being taken seriously but the property still offered the amenities that most families are looking for. Best Western you are doing it right. Rooms well maintained and cleaned. Service was excellent. A/C worked well.

We stay at different hotel but this trip was great. Awesome customer service. I really like the way they texted us to see if there was anything we needed or they could help us with! We will be going back for sure

We stayed at the hotel for 11 days while visiting our son who is serving nearby at the Naval Air Station. Our room was clean and very comfortable with a great ocean view. Due to COVID, we did not have daily housekeeping unless we requested it. However, the housekeeping staff was available to provide what we needed like towels, etc. The staff was outstanding. Always received a friendly hello when entering or departing the hotel. They were very friendly and always attentive to our needs. Cesar, Shelly and the servers did a fantastic job at breakfast too. I have nothing negative to write about this hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much and we will be back! It exceeded our expectations!

Always greeted by a friendly face. Rooms are clean. The location is great - walking distance to everything i want to do. They offer a hot breakfast (ad COFFEE!!!) upstairs, everything is handled very efficiently and safely. If there is an issue it is resolved right away. I love staying there!

The beds were clean and comfortable. Clean microwave and fridge. The ladies at guest service was nice. The carpet was dirty looking and the shower head was weak spinning and noisy. The tub was stain and had rust in the cracks. I wouldn't stay here again. It was walking distance to the small beach.

Great proximity to everything. We usually stay at best westerns when out of town. This was the first time at this location. The staff was Very friendly. Breakfast was the best we've had at a BW. But get there early as they did run out of a few items. But had plenty to eat. We got there at 9:30. Lu, Rosa and Debby are a true assets to the breakfast staff. They made us feel like family. The bar upstairs was a plus. Ally was a great bartender. Great to have a drink and unwind at the end of the day. Recommend for families. Pool looked clean and as tempting as it looked, it was just too cold for us to try. Will be back!

Really great, free parking, location is excellent, staff is friendly and mostly prompt....Elevators are a pain in the morning for breakfast (it's on the 11th floor), street noise is heavy, otherwise everything is great.

Moved the household from one city to Corpus. Had to stay in a hotel till the beds were set up and also to find sheets and towels. It was the closest to the new place. Worked out well. Will stay there again if the need arises. Nice place and well set up and well kept. Very attentive.

This is my favorite place to stay when I visit Corpus. The water views are great and everything you need is close. There are plenty of close restaurants. I particularly appreciated the care taken during this time of covid. The staff made you feel that extra sense of safety everyone is concerned about.

Best Western in Corpus Christi is a very nice hotel in a great location on Shoreline. The staff are very nice, professional and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful, I will definitely be staying at this Best Western again.

This is a nice hotel and all the rooms have really great views. It's even dog friendly. Lots of free parking. It's right across the street from a beautiful waterfront park and a quick walk to a dog park. Their staff - every one of them - provides amazing customer service. They serve the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel, and the breakfast space (and their bar) have huge panoramic views of the bay. We will always stay here now when visiting Corpus Christi. (This hotel saved our vacation when the rest of Texas lost power this winter!)

The breakfast is prepared fresh and hot. It is not just fruit, breads, etc. that others have been serving during Covid. This is eggs, breakfast tacos(burritos), sausage, bacon, gravy, juice, hot beverages. All fresh. The ENTIRE staff was excellent.

Once again Delma at the front desk was the nicest and most helpful!! The views are spectacular. Area eateries are exceptional. The seawall with abunant scooters available makes for an exciting and adventurous day!

We were in visiting for the weekend and needed some last minute accommodations. From the beginning the receptionist, Summer, was extremely helpful and got us set up right away. The rest of the staff throughout our stay was just as helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend this location. It was a great stay!

Stayed here for our anniversary. Great friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, clean lobby, great breakfast staff! Be warned rooms near the sea wall drive are a little loud due to traffic, but not unbearable. The higher up the better.

We had a good experience. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. There were multiple thefts in one day in the parking garage so may need cameras out there in the near future. But other than that, it was a wonderful experience. We LOVED the sandwich shop downstairs!

After searching for hotels that would allow larder dogs, I chose this BW. The front desk was spectacular and everything was sparkling clean which made for a very relaxing stay. Great location for leaving the car parked(covered parking)-nice deep pool-a-bit chilly as it is shaded starting early afternoon- had a very comfortable King size bed-my dog didn't want to leave it! Many great restaurants within 2 blocks -do not miss U&I-a-tradition since 1971-had the best ribeye steak that I can remember ! The hotel offers a nice hot breakfast on the 11th floor 6-9am with a great view of the Bay! You are right across the street from many parks and you can walk and sightsee as long as you like! I highly recommend this hotel!

I dont typically leave reviews, but I try to give credit where credit is due. I had a great stay at this hotel. This was the best best western I have ever stayed in. Everything was clean, everyone was very friendly and professional. Typcally most BWs I stay at give only one coffee bag. My room had 5 or 6. Typically I have to wipe everything down because there is sometimes a greasy film on surfaces like on the remote control. I didn't feel like I had to do that in my room this time. Also the shower head had real flow. Not weak low flow like most. And things actually worked and weren't broken, cracked or neglected. I got the impression that maintenance is actually kept up. I travel regularly for my job and have just gotten used to having low expectations when it comes to the room and dont spend much time in the room. I actually enjoyed being in the room this time, especially with the view. Up until now I have only continued staying at best western because I typically get a room with a good view. This experience actually made me prefer best western. Please let management at this hotel know that I appreciate their efforts and they were not overlooked. I will be back in a couple weeks for work again and look forward to staying in the same hotel (hopefully the same floor with the same view)

This is a great hotel with a nice side view of the ocean, and is right on Shoreline Blvd. Pluses are nice floor to ceiling windows. Very comfortable beds & pillows. Nice dresser, desk, and comfortable living room chair. Carpeted floors. Awesome rotating showerhead. Halls pretty quite. Front desk friendly & efficient. Walking distance to The Oyster Bar which has great food and both indoor & outdoor dining. Also for a very nearby awesome restaraunt check out U & I for great food of all types and a extensive menu. In normal pre covid times this hotel offers a very nice buffet breakfast. For our September stay desk staff were wearing mask , but unfortunately it was not enforced for guest in hotel or elavators. This was concerning for us at high risk. The only other negative for us was that on Friday & Saturdays there was constant loud & continuous hot rodding and drag racing from afternoon till wee hours of morning; on Shoreline Blvd which is very annoying if you have good hearing. Could probably be cured with a few installed speed bumps. If you travel with your fur baby you can only stay on 2nd or 3rd floor. We still had a good view from third floor.

This is a very nice and clean facility. 1/2 mile walk to beach and walking distance to several nice restaurants. We had our dog which was nice to have a nice place accommodate our fur baby at only $30 per day. Loved how they communicated with me by text too! We arrived an hour earlier than check in time and I texted to see if we could get in early and the immediately replied rooms were ready! Will go back!

During these uncertain times due to the pandemic our expectations we met. The staff was so well organized during breakfast making it easy to dine in while keeping social distancing or take it to go. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will be returning on our next trip.

This was an excellent place close to the water and beach! Personnel was pleasant. Even the breakfast was good and with covid 19 they had servers and very clean. Recommend this place. Close to restaurants and music we could just walk to these places.5 stars

Felt like I was being interrogated by the male receptionist when he was having trouble finding our booking reservations. Nice two females kept jumping in to help him with our reservation but he kept accusing of us booking just before getting there when we had booked it over a month ago. The balcony doors were drilled shut, wish we would of known ahead of time.

Just a little family trip great location, breakfast, and view. The only problem was we didn't report our air conditioner set at 58 reading 70 we didn't not sleep very well. Other than that everything else was great!

i absolutely loved staying here. The room was clean, it is close to everything, and the sevice at this hotel was amazing. They were so kind and helpful with every question we had and if we needed anything they provided it quickley. If you stay here you must check out the Water Street Oyster Bar next door, the food is the best i have ever had anywhere!!

This hotel was well adapted to the current pandemic, felt safe as staff cleaned common areas frequently. breakfast experience was well regulated not allowing those without masks to enter and proper spacing within the dining area, also allowing togo containers to offer in room dining.

So I booked a room a week in advance for my wife and myself and my daughter with her best friend. This was my wife's birthday get away bc we are both essential workers and have been derailed by this pandemic. We just wanted to get out of the house for one night and enjoy her birthday in a room by the bay and possibly some nice pool time. My daughter and her friend have been looking forward to this bc they too have been cooped up for months. We are both in the medical field so we know all about the precautions needed to protect ourselves and others......so here's where things got very upsetting. I had been calling all day on the day of the check in so I could go a little early and decorate before we all got there.....and too my surprise on my 4th call i was told that they DONT RENT TO LOCALS.... She then asked why I was needing a room if my address was located in corpus. I said it was my wifes birthday and then she said I would have to put a 300 dollar deposit down if I really wanted the room...at first I agreed but my wife was upset about it and we just canceled it all together. This was a horrible experience and I hope this review finds it's way up the chain. I dont find this to be very fair being we just wanted to get out of the house for one night. I can't even be a tourist in my own City. Thanks best western for that stellar service and for ruining my wifes birthday. Sincerely Chris

Overall just everything with the hotel was great. Wish the balcony doors could open but still great overall. I switched over here after a complication with a different hotel and I was greeted with much better service here immediately and got a room immediately upon arrival and last minute reservation!

Amanda was truly a blessing and made our stay amazing. She made it a point for my son to enjoy our stay with a great view. It's great to know how much this locale cares for its guests. Definitely need to book here if you're looking for a great time.

Best Western hotel is an awesome place. Love the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The employees thru out the hotel were friendly and made sure we had what we needed. I also noticed that all measures to keep clean were taking during the pandemic.

We had a great stay. The entire staff were extremely friendly. The room was comfortable and although we had to follow all COVID restrictions, the breakfast was still very good with lots of options. The location is great and close to lots of things to see.

The balconies are sealed up for some reason and the breakfast definitely wasn't the best hotel breakfast I've had, but I would stay again. The employees were all friendly and you get a nice view of the bay. Very nice to see the majority of people wearing masks!

Greatness happened with all the things going on I felt at home everyone was friendly willing to assist and I would be there at the drop of the dime for family and Best Western the grand is my new home for life.

We don't normally leave bad reviews but this unfortunately was calling for one. I reserved a free night + 1 extra night with my wife and 21 month old infant, proceeded to check in and asked for them to cancel the 2nd night reservation at the desk (they said no problem but I did not get a cancellation number). The next morning I called the front desk a couple times to ask for a later check out as baby was sleeping and they said the best they could offer me was 1 (which was fine) we even got a knock on the door from cleaning ladies asking if we were staying with them, I said no. Spoke to front desk several times to confirm 1. The next day (after we drove home in pouring rain) I get billed for the extra night. Confused I called the hotel to reverse the charge (I was happy to prove receipts such as gas on the way home from Austin) but no, without a cancellation number they weren't offering me anything except a future free night on this property. Not even a best western property in general, this specific property. I have never experienced having to dispute a charge at a hotel when I clearly checked out with the front desk when calling in and even had cleaning ladies show up telling me there was another reservation. Almost feels like someone stayed in our room and I got charged for it! This was absurd and I do not know if a COVID policy or if the hotel is hurting financially, but we felt like they just stole our money - not to mention charged $186 which is more than the standard rate for this room when they reopened. Be very careful and cautious with this hotel on discounted stays, as a platinum or diamond member or when you're staying on free nights. The staff is not willing to listen, stubborn and out to rip you off.

Rented two rooms for three nights to end our family vacation in Southern Texas. Really glad we picked Best Western. Service was excellent. The breakfast was free and plentiful. Rooms were clean, bedding was very nice, sleep quality was good. Really, no big complaints other than the noise from the street. WIFI was strong. Lots of movie channels. Comfortable rooms that included FRIDGE and MICROWAVE. Easy walk to the marina and short drive to several attractions including Lexington. There is a sandwich and coffee shop in the facility. They also have covered parking. Would return.

This hotel is very clean and modern touch inside, outside can use a new updated touch , the location is perfect if you like to wake up to a sunrise over the ocean it was amazing to wake up to that view, the pricing can use some modifications i think but overall my family and i are extremely satisfied with our stay and will be using this hotel again when we visit corpus christy !

The hotel is right by the Mariana, and next door to whatabuger. Which was very convenient. Staff were attentive and offered great customer service. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the breakfast but it was free!

The property is located across the street from the marina. We were able to walk to the jet ski rental and the boat tour from the property. We also walked to the nearby beach. It has a good size parking lot and the property is clean. We took advantage of breakfast buffet and workout facility. There were several restaurants within walking distance. We observed the electric scooter rental and bike rentals near the property. There is a pool but we did not use it. The area is good for going for walks, jogging, or walking your dog. When we did drive it did not seem like we had to drive very far to get to other attractions.

We stayed at the BW for three nights during Spring Break. The hotel may look a little dated outside- but the rooms are great. Our room was clean- and had plenty of space. Every member of the staff that we had an encounter with was friendly. The breakfast each morning was enjoyable, with a great view. The food was hot, fresh and tasted great. The dining facility was clean and maintained very well. The hotel is perfectly located for things to do in Corpus.

When I stepped off the elevator at the 10th floor, I smelled marijuana. I didn't think too much of it, being as it was Spring Break. However later that night, the smell returned, stronger this time. I notified the front desk and she said the only room they could move me to was on the 5th floor but the maintenance man said he smelled it on that floor also so I had nowhere else to go. Waking up the next morning to the pungent smell was not how I wanted to start my day. After asking the manager for a refund or a free night stay the next morning, she said that wasn't possible and that I could check out if I wanted to. I received no compensation for the night I spent in Jamaica aka Corpus Christi that night.

Best Western on Shoreline Blvd is located in the downtown area and is very close to the bay. I had a room that overlooks the bay. It was clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Best Western has no control over this, but, other than the stock car races, I have never heard so many loud muffler vehicles in one location 24 hours a day.

Free sheltered parking with great location adjacent to the local restaurants and harbor. Very friendly and efficient reception staff. Rooms were spacious but had no access to balcony. Cocktail lounge was spacious, yet cozy with plenty of seating. It also provided excellent views of the city, bridges and harbor, in addition to great friendly service from Ali who was efficient and attentive.

I am not sure how many reviews I have written about the Best Western Marina Hotel, but in each one I have given the hotel a five-star rating & this won't be different. When my husband & I come down here, we are coming down to unwind &relax. The 1st place we stop is here & we are always greeted by the front desk staff with smiles. Our encounters as we come & go during our stay are friendly & helpful. Our room is always ready for us & we always have a lovely view of the marina & downtown Corpus. This last trip (2 weeks ago), we discovered that the remodeling project was finished. The rooms are very nice. The bathrooms have walk-in showers & the rooms have been redecorated with a more modern, sleeker look. The house staff was, as always, thorough & very nice (a special thanks to Miss Clementina!!!). I do have one concern: for a hotel with more than 150 rooms, there are only 3 disabled parking places. Unless we never leave the room, the chance of parking in 1 is slim to none. I suggest that you take an additional 4 spaces right by the exit ramp & turn them into disabled parking. There would be no stairs to climb & w/ the installation of some handrails, access could be made easier. Just a suggestion. Again thank you for a lovely stay & all thumbs up to remodeling updates. The room was nice, the hotel has a good location, but best of all was the staff. IA problem I had a check-in was solved by Mandy at the front desk. The staff in the bar and in the breakfast room were friendly and hard-working. Recommended.

Super clean! Beds were comfortable, room clean and breakfast was awesome! The room has everything you could possibly need hair dryer, iron, mini fridge coffee and more. The breakfast was awesome. Variety of choices including waffle station and juice bar!

Stayed here as part of a bus tour. It was comfortable and clean. The views were nice from the rooms facing the harbor. Close proximity to eating at the piers. Very nice breakfast offered on 11th floor in a very spacious room! The staff there was very friendly and accomodating to a large group.

My stay there was excellent for a long weekend. Bar on 11th floor mixes good drinks and the Bay view is magnificent. Breakfast was hot, fresh and the staff very friendly. I booked another long weekend there for us in April 2020.

The staff was excellent!!! Everything was very clean and well taken care of. With our daughter playing soccer we stay in a lot of hotels throughout the year and this was by far one of our favorites. Great location and great price. We will be back!

The Hotel was conveniently located to some of the most fun places along Corpus. Walking distance from attractions. The overall hotel experience was great and the staff super friendly. Will definitely come back next chance i get. Beds were soooo comfortable.

During our short stay, we enjoyed an AWESOME sunset and sunrise over the bayfront from our room. This hotel has been around for a long time, and we can remember different chefs at the restaurant on the top floor. We were not able to eat there, but enjoyed our room, and the staff's friendliness. Although a bit dated in places, our room lacked for nothing!!!! The bathroom was wonderfully updated with an awesome showerhead, lighting, and plenty of space. Our bed was very comfortable, but what we loved the most was the pillows. They were the pillows you would have at home, not the cheap ones usually provided at hotels, and there were so many. I take my own pillow with me due to the poor pillows, but this time I could hardly tell the difference between their pillows and my own. Our room was spacious with a refrigerator, and microwave. We would definitely recommend staying here, esp. for the reasonable price too!

All was great!! All staff was professional, friendly and made sure I was having a great experience. Breakfast had so much variety and it was delicious. I'll be honest to say I didn't expect this much from a Best Western! I'll definitely stay again and will recommend them as well.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Slept very well. Our room had Double Queen beds. Their competition has Double Double. Security was visible when I walked the dogs at night. Definitely returning.

We were only here for one night but look forward to returning. Easy access to waterfront and restaurants. Pet Friendly!! Staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was great, on the 11th floor overlooking the harbor with lots of hot and cold options.

Generous hot breakfast. Ample fitness room. Comfortable and clean guest rooms. Friendly hotel staff. Would stay again. We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. There is a two story Whataburger next door to the property. Everything worked properly in the room to include the a/c, fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker.

The hotel is overlooking the bay. The view is magnificent! We had perfect weather and enjoyed walking along the marina late in the evening and early in the morning. Excellent service, food and covered parking, everything you would want in a hotel!!!!

Stayed one night in order to visit the USS Lexington which was close by. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. In fact the bathroom shower stall looked brand new and was the cleanest hotel shower stall I have ever used. All staff was welcoming and polite especially the awesome breakfast team. Merry Christmas and thanks to everyone at BW who played a part in our very satisfying experience at Best Western Corpus Christi.

Our stay at the Best Western was very relaxing, from check in to check out. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. We happened to go to a concert at the Bank of America Center and it was close enough to walk to the venue. Staying at the shoreline, we love the atmosphere. The Christmas parade was during our stay and also the illuminated boat Christmas parade, all within walking distance. Loved it.

Beautiful City. Loved staying at this B W overlooking the Marina. Excellent Hotel. Very comfortable & clean rooms, bed was perfect for our " old bones." Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. Only disappointment was the Aquarium was closed the 2 days we were there. AAA said they would be open. Be sure to check ahead of time.

You can't fault this place for its marina view and it's easy to walk along the sea wall . The lounge on the 11 th floor has amazing views and nice white leather seating . As with all hotels it's residents provide noise as they stomp about and talk loudly also road noise but the AC cancelled most of it out

This place was amazing from the start. It's very clean and nice throughout. It's right by the water and every room in some form can see the Gulf. The breakfast had a good selection and tasted pretty good as well. You can pretty much walk to almost all the things that Corpus Christi has to offer. The great beaches are only a short drive away but you still have access to a beach about a 10 min walk. Don't forget to check out the bar lounge on the 11th floor. Views are amazing! The bartenders are the best and will make your night. If you make it up there please tell Emily that Puma said hello.

This is a very well kept hotel.The location is great. You can enjoy beautiful scenery which includes a mariner and bay. The breakfast is the best everything you can imagine is on the menu from sausage, eggs, tacos, waffles with all the fixings, plenty fruit, pastries, different juices and gourmet coffee. Breakfast room has a gourous view. My only complaint is the balcony doors are sealed and I love going out on the balcony so I missed that.

I don't know when this hotel was built but it has to have been a long time ago. They have put some money into it but the layout is very odd. The entry hall into the room has a place to hang clothes, but no door. Then there is the vanity/sink area. Then you arrive at the bathroom with no sink. The bathroom has been remodeled with the barn shower doors with plastic walls. The toilet is from the 70's with the big handle with the big flush. The room itself was also odd with carpet that is also very old. The matress is so old it is broken down. I don't know if all the rooms have the same issue but don't take room 1011. On the positive side the location is great and the breakfast was very good. They are trying hard but still have some capital to invest.

Hotel was right across the street from the marina. Close to lots of restaurants- within walking distance. Lounge was cute and great aesthetic. Breakfast was great -lots of options and the view was fantastic. There's also a restaurant on the ground floor which was very convenient. Room was great and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Recommended places to see as we weren't from the area. Will definitely stay again!

For my business trip the location was perfect, the room was big and clean, car park next to the hotel, breakfast was ok whereas nowadays I would like to see reusable knife, fork and spoon instead of plastic, very polite employees, surely will come back again!

The hotel provided excellent, friendly and professional service. The breakfast was superb and the cafeteria ladies were friendly and kind. The hotel room was clean and had a beautiful view. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly.

This hotel is amazing!!!! I loved my stay here! I looked at this hotel because of the savings! I paid just over $500 for 4 nights. The hotel a few blocks away we're going to charge 1,200. for the same type of room! The service was top notch! The views are amazing!!

The entire staff was phenomenal -- friendly, welcoming and seemed to genuinely care about the guests. The location is very convenient, as well as boasting beautiful views. Breakfast was a notch or two above most places.

Second time at this location. Came back because first stay was so good. First was for my birthday this one was for our anniversary. This is now our go to place in Corpus Christi, Texas. We now travel exclusively Best Western.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. There are 10 floors plus breakfast on the 11th floor. There are many things to do and places to eat nearby, and there are even 3 restaurants in the hotel, a sandwich shop, a smoothie shop and a coffee shop. There is not a private beach but there is one within walking distance. The hotel is also near the original Whataburger. All rooms have a view of the ocean, but the top floors have a better view. Staff were super nice and the rooms were very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Corpus Christi.

What an amazing hotel. They helped us out with a room issue (our fault, not theirs), room is very comfortable, spacious with a large bathroom. Comes with a refrigerator and microwave as well. Hardly any noise. Now, how to describe the free breakfast...AWESOME!! Wonderful variety of hot and cold foods, yummy yogurt bar, delicious coffee and fruit juices. Texas waffles too.

This is a very nice place for business or vacation. It's got a pool, clean room, coffee shop and sandwich (Blimpee) shop. Just needs a place to charge your EV. It's right across from the water so you can't belief the view from 11th floor lounge. I really could relax.

The room had very thin walls so we could hear our neighbours coming and going. There was also a large gap below the door so every noise could be heard in the corridor. This also combined with the fact that the balcony door and windows were sealed shut made us worry about fire risks. Our room was directly below the gym so we were disturbed every morning and night with the dropping of weights and other bangs on the hard floor above. The breakfast food selection was very good, however, the use of single use plastic was dreadful. We ate at nearby Thai Spice because reception told us that if we showed our room key we would get a discount!! This did not happen - we recd no discount for a very expensive meal.

In the hotel room that my high school team was staying in, a student found, set on the microwave, a bent and burned spoon and two opened, apparently used hypodermic needles. It looked like someone had been using heroin in the room. I was disgusted that my students were exposed to this. I am upset that the front desk did not apologize, or do anything to attempt to rectify the situation. They told me that perhaps someone had diabetes. 1) That still doesn't excuse needles being left in the room. 2) Nobody cooks insulin in a spoon and injects it. They dismissed me and my complaint. Again, not even an apology. This is the worst Best Western I have ever been to. It changed my view of the brand. I cancelled out future reservations and don't plan on visiting again. I have also informed our school district so that no schools and students will have to go through this nightmare scenario again.

The staff at the bar was great spoke and paid attention to the needs of everyone. The morning breakfast staff made the waffle for my 6 year old son and they spoke with everyone. The room was clean and big.

I used two free nights from my Best Western Rewards for this stay and within the first five minutes of stepping into the lobby, I knew I chose wisely. The hotel is a little retro on the outside but the area is in the Art Deco District, downtown Corpus Christi, so they kept the ranch style look on the outside. Heaven, the front desk attendant was so helpful with everything and gave my dog a doggie treat with snacks. The staff was so helpful, that's why I extended my stay from one night to two. The breakfast area was awesome! Hands down best view and the food was delicious. The area was kept very clean. The bar opens at 5pm and this was a real treat. I had such a great time, I'm coming back again for a girls weekend. The pool was great. The hotel is so convenient to the bars, the dog park, the seawall and Emerald Beach. Thank you Best Western!

I stay at this hotel on average of once a week and have for years. Always clean rooms and always helpful staff. Great location on the waterfront. The lounge and breakfast area on the 11th floor have great views of the city and marina. You cant go wrong !

We have been customers since the 90s & were very disappointed that they sealed the Balconies, we always sit out & enjoy the view, nobody gave us a good reason why they did that. Other than that it was not bad.

Save your money, book anywhere else. Upon arrival, dirty sheets, dirty bathroom (pubic hairs on floor, mirror smudges), broken fridge, broken shower door (while my sister was inside of it, trapped, maintenance saved her. Reserved upgraded room was not granted, offered to move us, then told us to stay in the gross room, did not have it cleaned either. Terrible customer service from check in to phone wait time, to any questions we asked, management is invisible. Hotel was 'completely booked' only 3 luggage dollies available for entire hotel use. Key cards didn't work every single time we left the room. You're better off camping on the beach. We felt as if we were an inconvenience to the staff. Only saving grace was Ricardo & Jerry, the maintenance repair team who went above and beyond. They should be concierge and teach the rest of the staff what operating in hospitality is about.

This hotel isn't the best curb appeal, but they make up for it inside. The interior has been updated. The views are wonderful (all rooms have view of Gulf). The staff is friendly and very helpful. The free breakfast has real eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and much more -- you eat on the 11th floor with views of the boat docks. We were able to have our Aussie dog stay with us at this hotel (they even had treats for my dog). The place was very clean. Free internet and a covered, free parking garage. Great location with on the dock eating places within walking distance. A clean wide sand beach is just a few blocks away. We will be staying there again!

After spending all day moving my daughter into her college residence, I return to BW dead tired. I walked in to find an unmade bed at 11:30pm. They left a note stating that they were unable to make my bed as I left personal item on the bed. I left a ZIPPED BACKPACK on the bed, mainly because I was not comfortable leaving it on the floor.. I talked to the manager the next morning and basically recieved a sorry it happens. So yes I want to alert everyone who would like the services that they paid for performed.

This appears to be an older hotel from the looks of the outside of the hotel, but you wouldn't know it walking in the hotel. Very clean, updated furnishings. Seems all the rooms have views. Front desk staff was amazingly nice, competent and speedy. Rooms were clean. AC worked well. Bathrooms worked well. Pool was great. Best complimentary breakfast we've had at any hotel. The views of the bay from the tables in the breakfast area were amazing. Hotel is so close to the bay - right across the street. Every encounter we had with any member of the staff was so pleasurable. We had such a nice stay!

For my birthday weekend we decided to go out of town and we ended up in Corpus Christi. We had no reservations and knew we enjoyed our last stay at this Best Western. We had 7 people and needed 2 rooms and 1 that was accessible for a wheelchair. They were able to get us rooms right next to each other, they gave us 2 coupons each for the coffee shop and the Blimpies, they gave us suggestions on where to go eat, and the service was great. We went to our rooms, they were clean, cool, and comfortable. I would definitely be going back there soon. Thanks for the service and the great nights sleep!!!

We will definitely be back the price was perfect, pool was nice, breakfast was great and the view of the shoreline was Perfect no matter where your at in the building. A must stay if your ever in Corpus Christi

all staff member we encounter were wonderful and welcoming, from the 2 young men that checked us in Shelley the asst. manager, Debbie, Lu and Norma in the breakfast area, to the lady that cleaned our room during our stay were great, customer service was excellent. thank you Best Western Crew for an excellent stay.

We had 2 nights here and absolutely loved our stay. Good size room, and well cared for. The housekeeping staff did a great job in maintaining its' cleanliness. In fact all of the staff made sure we enjoyed our stay, from the people on reception to the bar staff, and a great big thank you to the ladies who take care of the breakfast on the top floor. The range of choice and quality of breakfasts goes well beyond the expected norm, and it was so lovely to engage in conversation with the very happy staff who prepare and take care of the servery. This Best Western has really raised the bar for customer satisfaction, and we leave with happy memories of our stay in Corpus Christi.

Amazing hotel in a great location. Resteraunta we're close by. Every room had a bayfront view. Close to the Selena Statue. Staff and breakfast as well as the hotel was excellent. I can't wait to come back!

Room smelled bad, but that's not the worst. The shower door stop was broken, and my son smashed his hand in between the handle and the glass edge (see video and pics). Hotel response was atrocious. They offered to call an ambulance, but I felt like that was overkill, and I told them so. Once I denied the ambulance offer, they were done. Didn't offer to move us, no discount, no apology. I wrote corporate, they were just as bad. I posted their response in the pics. Will never stay at Best Western again.

The hotel is really nice and the staff was great. I've never had a better breakfast selection in all my stays at other hotels. Lots of nearby restaurants and bars within walking distance, and the beach just a few feet away. Going to make it a point of staying here when I'm visiting CC

The overall stay was great and the staff were wonderful and friendly. The location was perfect because every where we wanted to go was very close to the hotel. Will be returning to Best Western for our next Family Vacation.

All of the staff at this hotel were wonderful! We had a, last minute need for a few bobby pins and the ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to find some! I was so stunned that they would take the time to do this for their guests!

The front-desk, team leader told me that when I realized that the room wasn't cooling (around 2 am), I should have called the front desk. At 2 am? Really?! She said, too, that they could have changed rooms for me. At 2 am? I've been staying at this location for at least 30 years. No compensation was offered except for extra rewards points. I don't recommend this hotel anymore, Largely because of the front desk, team-leader's attitude.

The staff was very polite and friendly. The food was excellent and the rooms cool and clean. The location is perfect for sight seeing and close to main attractions. Will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Corpus Christi.

New to south Texas and though older am in a new job, very stressful with little vacation time. We sorely needed a break nearby. We thought of Corpus, drove down before hand, saw the BW, began to compare prices and which were goood hotels. Thank goodness we saw an awesome discount offer on BW and took it. Wow!!! So comfortable in every way. Beautiful lobby, awesome mattress, beautiful views of the bay, super sub and smoothie shop, a breakfast that was over the top, relaxing small pool, nice little gym. Step out the lobby door, cross the street and viola!!! Three piers to walk out on, see the boats, shop, eat seafood, even see the replica of Columbus' ship La Nina. Fantastic and so relaxing. Can't wait to return!

My family stayed here for 4 nights for a softball tournament. The staff was very nice and friendly, loved having the smoothie shop on the 1st floor and the lounge in the top floor. The lounge was nice for us to get away from a long day and just enjoy the view of the harbor. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff here is very welcoming. Best Breakfast buffet on the Bay. Rooms very well decorated. I will be back. Has a food court located on the premises. Very convenient and the food variety is great. Outdoor pool.

Great location, right on the waterfront! Good happy hour deals at the lounge and great views from the 11th floor. Older facade, but interior is contemporary and clean. Lots of in-house amenities including a sandwich shop, cafe, outdoor pool, and indoor fitness facility. Walking distance from a bunch of places to eat, drink, and Selena!

Stayed here last minute after walking out of another hotel. What a great stay! Beautiful view of the waterfront, and fantastic breakfast. It was so comfortable and everyone was friendly and helpful, especially Ben at the front desk. I would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at the Best Western in Corpus Christi for a 3-day mini vacation. It was a wonderful experience. We had an amazing view from our room on the 10th floor. The breakfast was on the 11th floor with a great view of the marina, and it was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are ever in the Corpus Christi area again!

I have used this hotel for approximately the past 15 years and have always enjoyed it. NOT, this time. I am disappointed! The patio glass doors are sealed shut. The phone was not connected therefore it did not work. The fitness equipment, treadmill, other electronic items not working. When I reported the problem I was told it would be repaired after I check out. Breakfast was excellent..

The hotel is in a great location downtown by the water and is easily accessible for sightseeing. Great people and comfortable rooms.I was impressed by the covered parking and the clean surroundings . I have been to other hotels but this is the one to stay at if you like to be close to the sea.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is reasonably priced in comparison to other nicer hotels in this same area of Corpus. Rooms are clean. Having a fridge and microwave in the room is also a plus.No fee for parking is another plus. Continental breakfast consists of a wide variety of foods and fruits, with a good view of the marina and bay. Very minor issues would be slow internet and also the ac was cold, but room felt humid, damp, possibly due to our room being close to an outside door.

It was crowded when we got there, as it was check in time. The only issue was the key didn't work the first time and small elevators for such a big hotel. Good service and attentive employees Nice breakfast and perfect view.

The hotel was overall pretty good. The breakfast was awesome! The pool was nice. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was comfortable. The only downfall was the elevators. They are tiny. They say capacity is 12, but there is no way. It was extremely tight with 6 in it. Bc they are so small, there is a pretty long wait for breakfast or to go anywhere. Breakfast is on the 11th floor so you can take the stairs, but that is pretty far if you are on a lower floor.

5 star all around, great value and service. The continental breakfast buffet was fresh and provided many options. Comfy beds and bedding. Great water pressure in the shower! And the front desk was quick and very friendly during check in. Will be back!

This best western is your typical best western, except for the breakfast! They have quite a spread!! Was very impressed with the variety of food and the fact you get to eat breakfast on the top floor while looking out at the water. The staff was all friendly and we were very comfortable with our stay.

I found my new home away from home. We come to Corpus Christi very often and usually stay at another hotel. This was a wonderful experience. The bed was so comfortable, I thought I was in my own bed. The personnel was second to none.

Fast check in and they were able to get us checked in early, so that we could make the baseball game. The room was clean, the pool was good, the view was great, and the breakfast had a wide variety of foods and all I tried were excellent.

The good-Beautiful view from the room! Very nice hot breakfast- eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, yogurt with fruit, and all the extras. Nice location across from the marina. Nice looking bar on the top floor- good place for couples to go. The bad- our room smelled terrible like mold, the carpets were old/dingy, the room felt dirty, the pool was green. I understand that pool filters break, but the staff should be aware that its broke. I wouldn't go back to this hotel, because Most important to me is a clean room.

The hotel overlooks the marina good views from the rooms which are a good size the usual chain hotel "complimentary breakfast ". My reason for saying disappointing service is we were there for 3 nights and each night we had an issue: 1st night -The sink leaked all over the floor 2nd night - The toilet blocked 3rd night - One of the sockets sparked and the power went out in half of the room. They said we could change room but this was after 10 at night and we were checking out the next morning so decided it wasn't worth the trouble When I checked out and mentioned that we were on 1st name terms with the maintenance men and asked for some compensation for the amount of problems we had had the receptionist just said I cant do that I'll mention it in my report !! 1 problem ok these things happen but 3 with no recompense is unacceptable. I would like to think that of she had put it in a report then a manager would have contacted me but no such contact has been made so I assume it was just a throw away comment

Very friendly staff. Hotel was clean. The breakfast was wonderful. Our bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint was the loud noise the toilet in our room and the room that backed up to us made. We ate at the Blimpies on the property twice and the food was good. We enjoyed walking across the street to the marina.

Check in was easy and the staff very helpful, our room was clean with a view of the seafront. My had gone down to the lobby and on her return said what have you done. Me nothing, the bathroom floor is wet, maintenance arrived and fixed the sink a few hours later while we were out for dinner and on our return the toilet was blocked. Once again maintenance arrived very quickly and unblocked the toilet. The next night the exterior wall had a major electrical short which took out our side of the hotel. They offered us a room change but at 10.30pm we decided to stay in the room, needless to say we were glad to leave and were led to believe we were going to get some sort of recompense but that didn't happen. We cannot recommend this hotel.

We were in town for the first Corgi Convention. The staff at the hotel made us feel very welcomed with our pet. Also, the hotel is very clean and the breakfast was quite good! We loved that this hotel was within walking distance of several great restaurants including several pet-friendly places to eat.

I can not think of a better place to stay. Within walking distance are museums, recreation, great restaurants, and a beautiful view of the bay. The service is top notch and very friendly. Also, the bay area is very family friendly, and it is safe.

This is a better than average hotel, with beautiful views of the bay which is just across the street, outlined by endless sidewalks, pretty gazebos, and picturesque boats - you can't beat it. We've stayed here a couple of times and each stay has been very satisfying. There are a few things that set this hotel apart from the few other nice hotels downtown: it isn't noisy, the parking is free, the room rates are usually better, and the breakfast buffet is free and surprisingly tasty with a bevy of choices. The eggs are freshly scrambled (not the insta-eggs served at many chains) and truly delicious - I'm not typically impressed with eggs. The bacon is good, the warm cinnamon rolls are savory, and other fresh pastry options are offered. There are multiple fresh fruit choices, a yogurt machine with a variety of add-ons available, waffles, salsa for the eggs, little sausage pastries, gravy, decent hot coffee, juice choices, and all of the standard cereal varieties. Everything is well prepared and presented. The 11th floor breakfast area is more than sufficient in size, with floor to ceiling windows and enormous views of the bay with a peek of the downtown area. Across the hall from the breakfast room is a quaint scenic bar serving drinks in the evening. On the first floor, there is a cafe area with a Blimpie sandwich counter, a coffee shop counter (amazing lattees), and a smoothie counter. There's also a little food pantry near the check-in counter. No room service, but it's not needed since Grub Hub is available for restaurant deliveries. You won't go hungry. The hotel is within walking distance of things to do, like the art museum, several parks, and ez access to several restaurants nearby. Water Street Oyster bar is literally behind the hotel across the street - a must visit eating spot with delicious seafood, a fun decor, and TVs with access to the Houston Astros. The staff at this Best Western is friendly, and the cleaning team is especially nice and helpful. The rooms are comfy and clean, with a pleasant decor that has been updated since some of the Trip Advisor photos were taken. The WiFi works great. The lobby area is spacious with cushy seating, and has an outdoor area with chairs. I've never seen any bugs here, which in South Texas is quite the accomplishment since insects are prevalent in the coastal bend, no matter where you go. The 2nd floor outdoor pool area is split level with a covered table area with bay views. The hotel welcomes dogs, families, and business travelers alike. When they run specials, this hotel is a very good deal and we would definitely stay here again. While it may not be an overtly ritzy place, its no slouch - the accommodations here are nicer than the average clone chain, with plenty of activities available nearby. I highly recommend it.

My experience here was amazing ! Anita is a house keeper for the best western on the 2 floor make sure you meet her because she’s An amazing person ! I would recommend this hotel because not only is it in walking distance of the bay, restaurants and gift shops, but it’s overall relaxing .

Check in was quick. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was awesome. Thought best western wasn't going to be a good place, but it was cozy and I had an awesome experience. I would definitely return again.

The staff is great and the rooms are clean. While we were there it seemed the pool was struggling to keep up with the human load but to us it was acceptably clean. And then there was the "all inclusive breakfast"... There is food available from 6am to 10am on the 11th floor. The view of the marina and bay are great. The coffee is hot and there is orange juice. Beyond that I suggest the following: "Buyer be ware". During our 3 mornings it was a mix of traditional American and Mexican morning fare. All were done with complete mediocrity. Location to local eating and fun is super and overall not a bad hotel. Not our favorite Best Western by far, but it was certainly acceptable. The desk staff was very knowledgeable and helpful about local dining and activities.

Employees were very friendly and performed their jobs beyond expectations. Very kind and helpful, gracious and thoughtful. great room, there was noise in the next room that was disturbing. Breakfast was excellent, full breakfast, lots of choices. Help in the dining area, a person to great us and were there when we needed something. The ladies putting food in place were very kind and helpful too. Very Very enjoyable stay with our 9 year old grandson. Pool was nice, clean, chairs and many towels available with a location for extra towels and soiled towels. We've stayed at other hotels in the area and were very happy to stay here, it was almost $100 less than our first choice but so glad we came here. Great place to be, right across from the water. Nice area to walk and our hotel was right there. Walked down to the boats and restaurants. .

While older, this hotel has a great location, parking and was a clean place to stay. Free breakfast was very good - they have the best hostess we have come across in many stays that greets guests and runs the show. Would stay here again - have been staying at some Best Western Pluses this year, and my experiences have been good.

My family an myself were going to visit the Island for some beach time but weren't sure where to stay, our first night, we stayed at the Holiday Inn and it wasn't great. We asked for towels an they were completely out an my mother killed a roach, after the beach the day after, we decided to stay again. This time we checked into Best Western an from the moment we got checked in we realized we should have stayed our whole weekend here! It's awesome, check out time is at 12 instead of 11! Members get an option for points or free gift basket. We also were entered for a 20$ gift card that we will receive at home. My kids loved the view from the room an the room itself was very clean an comfortable. The pool is nice an clean, we washed our clothes! And there are plenty of towels lol. An since checkout is at 12 we were able to make the FREE BREAKFAST in the morning an still have time to hang out like I am doing now! I couldn't have asked for a better stay an this will be the only place I stay from now on, anywhere I go! Delma at the front desk is the sweetest!

Great view of the bay. Hotel was family oriented, good breakfast! Area has some restaurants and a fun bar with a live band. Visited the beach, walking distance to segways tour, you can rent ride on scooters. Everything is pretty close

I was specially satisfied with the variety in the breakfast. ( huge selection) The view at Breakfast lung is exceptional. Personal staff at the reception desk was nice and kind all the time. Overall is worth it, good price and good location.

it was not the value price i was looking for considering we had already put a lot of funds into the event for that weekend, but the location was perfect and in walking distance for everywhere we needed to be that weekend

I made my reservation by phone a couple of days in advance with Elizabeth. She happen to be the same person who checked me in. On both accounts she went out of her way to make me feel welcome and she was glad I choose Best Western.

The hotel was clean, no construction noted from previous reviews, hotel staff courteous. Great location for people who like to walk around downtown and shoreline attractions. Amenities as stated all in good working condition. Although the views are pretty good, no balcony access in rooms.

Service was awesome! The room was clean. The view of the beach from my room was nice. The complimentary breakfast was incredible--nice variety and delicious! This hotel is located off a highway, so there is a lot of traffic noise--but it didn't bother me.

Awesome stay. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of options. Everything was clean and tidy. Couldn't have been more happier bed was perfect and the room was very cold which I love. Very different actually having a thermostat as opposed to having an ac but since there is a balcony there isn't an AC unit lol. Had no issues with anything the staff were excellent would definitely love to return there again.

This is not a "fancy" hotel. However, it is very clean, in a great location, has everything you need, and the staff goes above and beyond. I stayed there this past week, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The beds were very comfortable, a convenient coffee, sandwich shop on the ground floor, a good breakfast, and a great view of the marina and bay. All of the staff were outstanding, but Mandy especially took good care of us. They really are pet friendly also!

Stayed here for 5 nights as part of a short getaway trip. Hotel is located a short walk of the water and the fishing piers where one finds a number of restaurants. The 11 floor hotel had basic rooms that are average sized and very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast comes included. This includes a whole assortment of choices. Also on the 11th floor is a club overlooking the gulf where one can enjoy drinks. The staff are friendly and courteous and quite helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We stay here for a anniversary and the guy been at the front desk was absolutely an excellent example of customer service. The AC in a room with a bit noisy and that would be my only actual complaint. Otherwise the staff was fantastic everybody was so welcoming and the breakfast had a good variety of options

Surprised gem. The hotel was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The swimming pool was a nice size, started at 2 1/2' which was nice for my grandkids. Breakfast was awesome lots of choices and really liked having 3 flavor options for my Texas size waffle. Breakfast and happy hour both on the 11th floor making for a fantastic view. The staff was great everyone was friendly and helpful.

I was ordering food at cafe restaurants from hotel. My 11 yr old son came to help me with food.. shortly later my wife calls me to tell me my son was trap on elevator 2. I was advised not to call 911 that maintenance guys will fixed with in 5mins.. it was so desperate to hear my son cry inside the elevator on a panic attack saying he was loosing air...asking for help.. 22 mins past and elevator took my son to floor 6 n he got out scared and crying and confused.. mins later he was taken to us on floor 3 where my 9 yr old son was crying for his brother.. it was the ugliest moments of my life.. the restaurant guy told me not to worry about paying for the food.. even do we were on shock not thinking about eating anymore... i was told that there was no manager on duty. An incident report was created no one on lobby offer a Discount or anything.. but everything gets better with your kid.. so disappointed.. sad to see many people for higher floors using the stairs to go up and down.

My family and I stayed at the Best Western because we were celebrating our son's birthday who was turning 3. They had fun but the pool however, was cold since it was outside and their was no other pool that they had. But overall we enjoyed the stay.

I am a frequent traveler and tend to stay at Hilton and Marriott properties. However, on a recent business trip to CC I stayed at this Best Western location. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious with good views. The rooftop bar was nice with a good selection of drinks and great views, though it was a bit cold in there. The access to the boardwalk/bayfront area was easy and was overall a great place to stay. Not a 5 star hotel, but really great value for the cost.

I stayed at this Best Western on March 30, 2019, specifically Room 309-A. I was traveling with a small dog that was also welcomed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This motel has a great "pet area" that was very clean. The room was very quiet, and clean. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the water pressure in the shower was very poor. I'm not sure if there was a water saver valve or not, but it took me quite a bit longer to get the shower process done because of low water pressure. I will stay at this motel again, given the opportunity.

Located directly across the street from the Marina. Breakfast on top floor with great views. Within walking distance to multiple restaurants, beach shoreline access within 1/4 mile. Very friendly staff. Took our two Labs, bigger hunting dogs, and they were welcomed with open arms.

My wife & I stayed here 4 nights while vacationing in Corpus Christi. Overall a decent hotel. Desk staff were friendly & helpful. The room seem clean when we checked in. The hotel was full, mostly high school students there for Team USA competition that was in town that weekend, in fact all the hotel were full that weekend because of that. Room was nice, had wanted a lower floor room but didn't get it. My wife liked the bed I thought it was way too firm/hard. Pillows were so so. The shower had one of the rain nozzles heads. Would of been better if there was more water flow/pressure. Being on the 7th floor may be partly the reason.The room had just a shower no tub. The breakfasts were very good! Better than most hotel free breakfasts. Fresh fruit, different pasties, the usual eggs & sausage but also something different each morning hot food wise. Large breakfast area also. It's on the 11th floor and has a nice view of the water & city. There is also a bar on the 11th floor open in the evenings except on Sunday. Same great view. Roof top pool & deck on the second floor. Our only issue was with housekeeping. We left one morning at 9:30 and came back from being on thr water all day at 4 PM and our room hadn't been cleaned yet. We were very unhappy to say the least.I found a maid on our floor cleaning another room and asked her to clean our room right away. I went down to the front desk and informed them how unhappy we were that our room hadn't been cleaned yet. She got on the phone to the housekeeping mgr. and told her the situation. We hang out by the pool in the meantime. They did apologize but that was it. We chose this hotel based on it's location to the water front, very convenient and easy to get to.

I loved this hotel. The location is great, it's walking distance from nearly everything! There were beautiful views too. I loved being able to watch the sunset and then the sunrise in the morning over the ocean. I really enjoyed my breakfast too. The food was very yummy, and the breakfast room has windows all around! I was able to take in the view of the sunrise, the bay, and the city as I ate.

Staying at the Best Western Marina, was enjoyable, and relaxing. The coustomer service was outstanding. Its close to all the amenities you may want. Resturants, concert venues and nightlife. Truly an enjoyable stay

I highly recommend this hotel! They have the best breakfast, an amazing staff, and we couldn't have asked for a better room! The hotel is in the perfect location, you can walk to just about anywhere! In all of our travels, we have never had a hotel experience like this one! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

I am pleased with the remodeling and improvements to upkeep the property as a whole. I was disappointed to learn that I was no longer able to open the sliding glass door in my room to allow the salt air in. The company has sealed the doors permanently shut. The customer service is still good. The breakfast is not what it used to be. I have noticed the room rates were more expensive than usual for this time of year. The improvements while needed do not warrant the excessive cost. The Omni was cheaper on priceline (even after parking fee) The Omni still allows for balcony access. Next time I will check the rates at the Omni as it might be a better value.

Our stay was very enjoyable here. The staff was very professional & courteous, from the front desk, maintenance to housekeeping. Elizabeth at the front desk was very sweet.We will definitely come back to stay here again.

Quite a nice surprise to spend a few days at this location - the room, 11th floor lounge and breakfast facility, the very friendly employees, well appointed rooms and great parking arrangements made for a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

The location is great because you can the water. It's within walking distance of restaurants, stores, and the waterfront. The breakfast here is the best I've every seen, plenty variety. Great value for your buck!

Paid too much in my opinion when I couldn't use the balcony what so ever and they didnt mention to us about this problem, other than that we had a good stay. Clean rooms, nice staff and good breakfast

Stayed overnight on our way to visit family. Service was fantastic delma Deleon friendly and helpful at registration and made it quick and easy. The beds are comfortable, spacious rooms. Free breakfast buffet catered by Joyce and Rachel. Fabulous service spacious breakfast area, club in hotel with many other amenities and awesome view to the ocean. This Best Western is awesome.

Beautiful view from room and lounge even if balcony was unavailable. The breakfast was delicious every morning and room was very clean. Parking was easy (even had some covered parking). It was also nice to have the coffee shop and sandwich shop downstairs. Within walking distance of restaurants and waterfront.

Stayed at the Best Western Corpus Christi for a night. Very friendly staff that provide coupons to the sandwich and coffee shop behind the check in area. Bar on the 11th floor with a good happy hour. Good breakfast fast with lots of variety. Also, a great view of the Marina and gulf. The pool was open, but not heated. I would recommend this place.

Hotel was nice with a great housekeeper named Anita who was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was one of the best with a variety of breakfast food. No unlimited coffee or water was available, but there was a refrigerator and coffeemaker. Employees were all courteous and polite. Area to park had an overhang and community surrounding the hotel was noisy and active with a nightlife that I didn't look into.

I stay once a week and complete staff always makes this place feel like home. Front the front desk to the kitchen staff. Thank you! Staff greets you by name with a smile, weather it is your first visit or if you are a regular like me.

This was our first stay at the BW Corpus Christi, located on Shoreline Drive! And this property simply knocked it out of the ball park! Great first impression from Elizabeth who welcomed us and checked us in. Elizabeth was polite, outgoing and went out of her way to take care of us with explaining the benefits of the hotel to what restaurants were nearby. Elizabeth is very genuine and went above and beyond during our check in! Our room! Clean, clean, clean and comfortable. We had an excellent view of the Marina as well! Our room was bright, and inviting!! Kudos and praise the the Housekeeping team!!! Breakfast buffet!! Wooooooowzah!! The best buffet by far at any hotel we have stayed at. This team is welcoming, friendly, and extremely proud of the fresh and home-cooked foods they offer!! We really appreciated the interaction of the Manager that was on duty as well! I had not stayed in a Best Western for many years. We were pleasantly surprised. We loved having the coastline view out our bedroom window. The staff was friendly. The free breakfast was one of the best I've had. Plenty of parking. Within walking distance of other great restaurants.

View of the bay and marina were great. Location was easy to find. Good breakfast options from an 11th floor area. Friendly staff, everyone was helpful when asked. The motorcycles on the street during the middle of night were annoying, but the hotel is not at fault, but did wake us up.

Excellent location, very clean up to date hotel. Great staff. The full hot breakfast was great, not to mention the view from the 11th floor dining area. Right across the street from Corpus Christi Marina.

The room/bathroom was very dirty. Small hair everywhere, on floors, tub, sink and sheets. No water pressure at all in the shower. Sheets seemed to be left from the last occupant. Breakfast bar was nice with a great view and helpful employees.

The stay started out fine. But the way a couple of situations were handled not so great! The AC unit did not work in first room we were switched and then had some phone issues with it going off and not working and not being able to stop it. The Sales Manager was very kind and apologetic. Some of the sales people at the front were not so friendly and this situation happened after 12am.

Best location overlooking the bay at a more reasonable price than other hotels comparably located. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. The free breakfasts were delicious and the breakfast staff are all South Texas friendly. The upstairs full-service lounge has spectacular views of the bay and sailboats, In fact, all the rooms also have spectacular views. We have stayed at other hotels overlooking the bay in Corpus Christi and this was our first time at the Best Western. From now on we will be staying at the Best Western anytime we stay overnight in the downtown Corpus Christi area.

This hotel in downtown Corpus Christi has an amazing view of the bay. It is directly across the street from the sea walk, which is a lovely expanse to walk, run, or ride a Lime scooter on. There is an art museum a short walk away along with many restaurant choices. Though a bit of an older hotel, the staff has worked hard to keep this a nice place to stay. The top floor which houses the breakfast area and lounge has beautiful views of the bay and downtown area. On the first level there is a coffee shop and Blimpie Sub shop. The guest parking is right next door and free of charge.

It was a easy check out, I was given a 10% discount when I signed up as a rewards member which is completely free to sign up! Our room was spacious, it was also right on the beach so we had a wonderful view of the ocean, and all the sites or corpus Christi

This hotel (if they would update it) could be great. The view of the ocean and the breakfast were really the only good parts for us. There was one lady at the front desk that was very friendly. We arrived early AM (about 1:30 am) and checked out the next day (a day early) and got our money back. I hope they remodel and bring this bldg up to par for a beach front property.

Very nice hotel! the room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small but clean and had a separate vanity area. Wonderful TV channel selection. WiFi worked most of the time. Mini fridge,microwave, and single cup coffee maker. Comfortable easy chair. Nice view of the Marina (room 520) but cannot access the balcony due to storm damage. WONDERFUL full breakfast !!

The location of this hotel was super convenient!!! It was within walking distance to a lot of things. The staff was super friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable!! I would definitely return to this hotel when my family and I come back to Corpus!

Recently stayed here on business and was surprised! Looks like there has recently been a lot of renovations going on here. The beds were very comfy and the entire facility was clean and bright. Still a bit “rough” on the outside but sparkling inside. I had a pleasant but very limited interaction with the staff.

Very comfortable room, clean and fresh with a great view and breakfast was very good. Excellent location. Check in and Check out was a breeze, with the staff both times very friendly and efficient. The bed was very comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay. Will definitely return next time I am in Corpus Christi. Parking is convenient and free, easy walk into and out of the hotel. The view from the room was really nice to wake up to.

This hotel was in the perfect location for dining, shopping, and getting to and from all the places we wanted to visit. Directly across from Waterstreet Market where lots of things are happening, and also the marina, so wonderful views. The room was very comfortable, spacious, updated, and clean. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. One comment if you like to open your room up to the ocean smell and sounds - this hotel has not yet completed their external repairs from hurricane Harvey in 2017, so the sliding doors are sealed shut - the only disappointment.

Easy access very clean and staff were friendly. Good price for location of whataburger field. I had son with me and we felt safe in location after the Hooks game. Wish there was not construction on roads going on was only negative.

The staff here really look after you and are friendly and very helpful. The staff that really stood out for me are Rebbeka (Front Desk), Mandy (Front Desk), Michael (Maintenance) and Joyce (Breakfast). We stayed in Room 520 with a fabulous corner view looking over the Marina over the weekend 3-5 November 18. I would definitely stay here again.

Check-in: Quick and easy with polite and helpful staff. Room: The bed was one of the most comfortable I'd slept one in a hotel. Wish the pillows were larger and not the little square sized pillows like one would see on a sofa. Main issue with room was the balcony sliding door was not locked! Water pressure could be better in the shower as well. Breakfast: A nice variety of hot and cold foods were offered for breakfast (only bacon and hot chocolate would have made it better) with helpful staff. The view from the dining area was lovely while enjoying my meal.

Overall we were pleased with our stay. Right on the water - great views from the room of the bay. 11th floor bar and breakfast area offer drinks and nice views. Walk to a number of restaurants. Friendly staff, free parking, nice rooms. Odd A/C controls - finally found out that one removes the face plate to move the gauge to the desired temp Other than that no complaints. Some noise from the road at night but the hotel was quiet. recommend!

Loved my stay here. The location was perfectly surrounded by food, sites, and nightlife. The service staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The staff member even provided a few coupons to receive free appetizers at some of the nearby restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

This is a friendly, clean hotel with a beautiful view. The breakfast was very good- real eggs people- not that powdered mess. The room was nice and chilly when we got there and we were able to check in early- BONUS! We didn't check out the pool but I would stay again. Great restaurants and local bars within walking distance.

Staff is courteous,professional and friendly. Hotel is clean. Air conditioners work great. Hot breakfast with eggs, meat, potatoes daily. Yogurt machine with fresh blueberries a decimate plus. Nice size rooms with comfortable beds. Tv channel selection could be improved on.

love the room and spacey restroom. the only thing i would suggest is to make safety rails standard in each room with a tub. if at all possible i would suggest getting rid of tubs and replace with walk in showers with rails.

I just want to start out by saying I was blown away with my experience at Best Western. When I first arrived the front desk was so helpful and informative. They understood my budget and accommodated in every way they possible. I also got a chance to meet one of the GM's Nicolas, who was very professional and well informed of the area and my stay. The rooms were a great size and the beds were dreamy. The pool was a crystal blue located on the second floor. I brought my 6 year old on my business trip and his favorite part was the breakfast in the clouds. The Breakfast buffet was located on the 11th floor with a spectacular view. What i loved was the time and love that was put into the food, it was made with Grandmothers Love, from what I was told. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants a 5 star experience with a 3 star budget. you again best Western you have earned my business for life.

Love the Corpus Christi Best Western--Staff was AWESOME, rooms clean, great breakfast, close to everything--will definitely recommend to friends and will return one day for next vacation. Staff was very accommodating for early check-in, late check-out, and best of all--extremely dog friendly!

What a nice friendly hotel. The Blimpy attached was very clean and efficient, the pizza was good as well. There is a pool on the second floor, and dinning room for breakfasts on the 11th floor the view from the bar up there is great.

We got room in the ninth floor towards the front of the building during the Labor Day Weekend. Pros: The room was nice with a good view. The breakfast and lounge areas also had great views of the marina. The breakfast had a lot of options. Cons: The bathroom and area in front with the vanity needs serious update. Moreover our bathroom toilet had a stain that even the housekeeping staff was unable to remove after much trial. I felt very queasy every time I had to use the toilet after that. The bathroom floor also felt sticky. The elevators and hallways also looked very tired. The hotel is need of good renovations.

This hotel was nice enough for our short weekend stay, and considering I booked it last minute for a holiday weekend, the price was fine. However, it seems the only thing updated is the bedroom portion of the room. The bathroom just seem dirty and old. And the hallways, elevators, and lobby didn't have an updated feel to them. For 11 floors there are only two elevators. So there was always a line to wait for the elevator. The breakfast area was also overly crowded. For that large of a hotel, I feel the dining space should be double. We stood with our food in our hands waiting for a seat for several moments. Just not a well thought out breakfast space for the amount of foot traffic. It was nice to have breakfast on the 11th floor overlooking the marina though. Did not use the pool or restaurant on site. The location is nice, but unfortunately people like to drive very fast on Shoreline Boulevard at night and you can hear their loud cars even from the sixth floor. In addition, the toilets were extremely loud, so you really couldn't use the restroom in the middle of the night without waking people up. Our neighbors toilets could also be heard through our room. Also the toilet had a weird flush handle like you would find in a public restroom. I was unsure whether to use my foot to flush or my hand, it just felt strange and dirty. The beds were fine. Overall, just needing more updating to compete with all the new hotels out there. If I come to this area again, I definitely would find a newer hotel.

Although the hotel itself could use some work and updates here and there, the staff by far makes up for ANY and ALL issues. They are absolutely WONDERFUL! They seem genuinely caring and helpful in all aspects of their job. Delma at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure our stay was awesome. Every employee we had contact with was SUPER!!!!! Great experience, will definately be back!

I guess I was surprised that the hotel was very old and plain and in need of updating. The elevator is very small which requires more waiting time especially when folks are waiting to go up to the 11th floor for breakfast. The hallways are musty smelling, the door card locks are old and should be replaced. The Lobby is very plain and simple. I expected more for paying $200 plus a night. The hotel was clean, but certainly not what I was expecting. The customer service at the front desk was good. We actually decided to cut our stay short and headed back home early which was a great disappointment.

Delma at front desk was terrific but everyone else at front desk including manager (Night shift) were extremely rude, unprofessional! Housekeeping was great and helpful. Good breakfast. Would never stay again because of how badly we were treated by night shift.

If you are looking for a well managed hotel, this is the best choice in the area. The hotel is immaculate and the friendly and professional staff make every effort to make your stay flawless. All the local fun is within walking distance including great restaurants, art galleries, and the education service center.

Poor mgmt, rude manager{Bridget}, a/c in room made a horrible humming noise. Worst of all, we were told we were their special guest and would receive their best room. Stupid me fell for it. The water and few snacks that we received was the hilight of the experience at this hotel.

The location of the hotel was great and was really able to enjoy the views of the bay. It was walking distance from the sea wall, in which I could take my family for a stroll enjoying the fresh air and take in the views of the USS Lexington.

Stayed for three days. Great location. Staff was super friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Miss Anita for keeping our room spic and span. Loved the complimentary breakfast. Miss Rachel and the breakfast crew always greeted us with a smile. The ladies did a great job of replenishing the breakfast items quickly. The highlight for us was ending the day in the lounge on the 11 floor which has wonderful views of the bay. The hotel is dog friendly as which is an added plus for us. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Corpus.

Great stay. Staff is always friendly, parking isn't too bad, and rooms are always clean. Undergoing some renovations, but it was kept very professional, clean, and quiet. Breakfast is good and nicely presented.

Our family stayed here for 2 nights during the week. This hotel is directly across the street from the bay, which is why I chose it. Check in was easy and the employees were friendly. We were able to check in a few hours early, which was great for us. They let us know there is construction ongoing including not being able to open the door to the balcony. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Refrigerator and microwave are included. The bathroom has a strange configuration but was a good size. Water pressure was on the low side but not terrible. Shampoo and conditioner were in dispensers on the wall in the shower. The view from our room on 8th floor was awesome! Breakfast is included and served on the 11th floor which also has a great view of the bay. The eggs weren't my favorite, but there were many other options to choose from. They have cold cereal, pastries, oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, sausage, biscuits and a waffle maker. It does get a little crowded the later you wait but one of the employees made extra waffles in the back to help out with the line. There was a wait for the elevator at times, mostly at breakfast time, but nothing more than a couple of minutes. There are many restaurants within walking distance including the 2 story Whataburger across the street. This hotel is about 2 blocks from the Selena memorial. I read comments that some people had issues with the homeless here. We were only approached once by a man asking to play us music and that was closer to the memorial site. We walked across the street and along the bay at different times of day, even at 11pm. We never felt unsafe. We had no issues at this hotel and I would definitely recommend staying here.

Location is great with a gorgeous view. Morning breakfast is outstanding. Hotel gym is on 10th floor with a great view. Hotel also has a coffee shop and sandwich shop. Ample parking. A number of restaurants in walking distance.

I have alway thought Best Western meant low end hotel. I am glad I took a risk and booked this hotel. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. The rooms are decent, clean, comfortable. For the price this is definitely worth it. Roof top Pool is great, close to the water, if you feel the beach/ gulf here is pretty then the view is wonderful!

Outstanding Free Breakfast with terrific views of downtown Corpus Christi. Need to install towel racks in bathroom area. Commode seat and flushing were downers. Great helpful staff quickly solved problems of room keys not working and lack of printer for computer in business area. Would be more convenient to have ice machines on every floor and we missed the convenience of cold drink vending machines. Again....without a doubt best breakfast we have ever experienced in a hotel. Worth recommending to others and will encourage us to return to this hotel.

I arrived at the hotel at 12.30, I knew check in wasn't til 4pm but I had been on the road for a few hours so thought I'd go straight to the hotel. The lady advised there was no rooms ready yet but she would have one ready for me at 2pm. When I came back at 2pm there was a different lady at the desk who abruptly told me there's no rooms, advised I was told to come back at 2pm and there would be a room ready and she rudely told me check in is at 4pm so they have until then to get a room ready. This left me annoyed, as she had just checked a couple in who were in front of me??. When I finally checked in at 4pm, it was by a lovely lady named Delma. She was so pleasant and friendly. She gave me information about the hotel amenities & discounts at local restaurants. She also checked me out 4 days later and I was presented with the same friendliness as when I checked in!. I was on the the 10th floor which is the top floor for the rooms, as there's the breakfast room & bar on the 11th. The room quite spacious and offered a lovely view of the marina. Sadly due to maintenance repairs on the outside of the building, we where unable to access the balcony which was a shame but as it was so humid out it was probably best to keep it shut anyway. The room had tea/coffee facilities, fridge and a microwave. The bathroom/vanity area was spacious. The breakfast area was on the top floor which gave a view of the city. There was a choice of cold and hot options and even Texas shaped waffles! The hotel has a bar, gym and swimming pool but I can't common these as I didn't visit/use these facilities. The hotel has ample free parking, most is open but there is limited undercover parking. Overall I would stay here again.

Always stay at this hotel when I visit Corpus Christi. Staff is excellent and hotel has a great view of the marina from your room. Good restaurants within walking distance and walking along the marina is amazing .

Based on 4.2/5 on reviews we booked this hotel for 3 nights and checked out after staying 1 night. The staff are exceptional and very pleasant. Everything else does not measure up to the 4.2 stars or the price we paid. Rooms and hotel is old and it shows. Carpet in the room was bad. Bed was clean but just ok (it did sink in the middle at least the one we stayed so was not very comfortable). Vanity is very small and a tight space. Bathroom seems a odd arrangement. The view is ok however the balcony is closed due to harvey damage and reconstruction. Elevator was a major turnoff because its very small for even a standard hotel so you had to wait quite a bit to get on it. Though they had a wide variety for breakfast, our experience was not so great. We asked if the hash browns creole had any meat and the lady said none and we found it had sausage (chorizo at the bottom), that was really bad. The orange juice was very watery and when I inquired the lady said it was a cocktail and thats expected however later we found out they were simply running out and had to fill it up. Muffins were sub-par and never seen such small bagels. It took some shaking of that container to get cereals out. And when we first came, police had blocked off the entire area and would not let us into Best Western parking even though we told them we were staying there and the staff had no clue about this going on and we had to park somewhere else and walk with our luggage to check in. Overall it was a disappointing experience for us.

We came into Corpus on Sunday for the holiday. Sat out on our balcony and enjoyed the view over the bay. On Monday went to the Aquarium which was wonderful then returned to our hotel. I tried to go out on the balcony but the door wouldn't open. I called the desk about getting it opened and was told that it had beeb sealed shut. No watching fireworks from our balcony. It spoiled the trip.

Enjoyed a family weekend trip to Corpus Christi Best Western on Shoreline Blvd. for my nephew's birthday celebration. We stayed at Best Western due to close proximity to shore and best of all because it was pet friendly. My beautiful baby boy was given a doggie treat when we arrived and was made to feel welcome. We enjoyed the extremely friendly staff, view, and cleanliness of the room. Best of all we had a view of the ocean and Whataburger. The breakfast is on the very top floor for stunning views and a good selection of food. We also went up to bar at night for a nice, relaxing view.A fun time was had by all.

We stayed three nights in June with our grandchildren, ages 8 and 11. I chose this facility because of the location and it didn't fail us; it is across the street from our favorite restaurant in Corpus Christi. It is within walking distance from the marinas and the Salena Gomez memorial. The breakfast was awesome and the staff very helpful. The problem was the pool; It was small, offered no shade whatsoever, and, most importantly, it had a dirty "bathtub" ring every day we were there.

Wonderful view of the shoreline, excellent breakfast on the 11th floor, these two features made it worth the trip. Was a little concerned that the beds seemed taller than usual and were a little challenging to get in and out of.

Perfect location to walk the shoreline and to downtown restaurants and art centers. Very friendly and helpful staff. Their happiness seemed to rub off on all of us. The breakfast is included and excellent. Again, staff tried to be helpful when I looked a bit lost. I wasn't lost - just amazed. The view of the bay was incredible. Food was so well presented and tasted good. Hotel and room were clean. You can actually sit on balcony of your room. Price for small dog seemed pricey to me. Also, no one seemed to know if we could bring dog in an enclosed stroller to breakfast area so my husband and I had to take turns eating breakfast alone because we never leave our dog alone in a hotel room. A designated area would be nice.

Hotel was great stayed there with the family for a few days, hotel was clean and staff was great. Breakfast and parking were free and you really can't have a bad brow of the bay especially at night when everything is lit up. Don't have any complaints, but if I had to have one it would be that the elevators are on the slow side.

Noisy rooms, too bright white lights, too expensive compared to quality and value offered for the money. Some staff members were ok but some were rude and even denied some service. This was not really a

Great rooms. Great views. All around a great place to stay. Would highly recommend this hotel in the future and will be returning soon. The room was nice and the staff were very helpful during our stay !
