The staff went put of their way to make sure our needs were net. Our room was beautiful and the breakfast was outstanding. The hotel is even located in a safe area with plenty of shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Columbus!

The Suite with the jacuzzi was marvelous! I was worried I was going to pay quite a bit of money for an old, not updated hotel room, but i was wrong! It was totally updated where comfort meets modern, beautiful bathroom, clean jacuzzi, and a fantastic bed! Will definitely use Best Western again!

The staff was phenomenal from the day before until the time we left. I received different text messages about my reservation and room. The check-in was fast and easy with polite staff. Breakfast was great with good selections and very polite staff. Room was clean. An overall great stay.

Way better than std Staybridge breakfast. Cool staff. Based on 1 night stay. I'm 60% on the road and highly critical. Would recommend . WTF that is all I have to say and 0% negative but it won't accept less than two-hundred-characters. So xxxxxxxxxxxxxbook here !

What a great place. Floors instead of carpet. Very clean room and bathroom. Soft comfy bed. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Very nice and friendly front desk woman. Onsite free parking too. Didn't try the pool. Big breakfast area.

Super Clean!! We stayed Feb 9-11. Breakfast was great, waffles, eggs, coffee, juices , fruit, assortment of bagels, cream cheese, and cereals. Something for everyone. Staff was great and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!!!!

Everything was wonderful. Quite, clean, and breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Went beyond what was expected. Stayed in presidential suite which was fantastic. Only negative was the snow that fell. Will stay again.

I don't have anyone person to name. But from the time we arrived we were greeted as elite members. The hotel was very clean, our room was clean and comfortable, The breakfast was very good, the pool and hot tub that well maintained. Our experience at this Best Western was the best we have seen. I would Strongly Recommend this hotel to others looking for a place to stay in Columbus OH. We will be back.

This was my first time staying at a Best Western in Columbus Ohio. The breakfast was absolutely lovely. A nice selection of hot items as well as cold items. Everything was clean and up to safety standards for food service. I am certified in food service and sanitation. The hotel was nice, clean and up to date. Very luxurious and I have stayed at a lot of hotels over the past few years. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will personally book this hotel in the future.

We stay here every year, when we visit family for the holidays. The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful and will go out of their way to insure you have a comfortable stay.

No complaints with this hotel! The bed was very comfortable, shower felt like a message and then the breakfast!!! The options are amazing: waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, plethora of toppings and more!!!

The room was so clean-spotless! The king size bed was comfortable and it had a mattress cover. The pool and hot tub were nice and warm.The breakfast was good and warm. The workers were very friendly.

We were looking for a hotel to stay in on our way through Columbus and searched high and low for one that had the hot tub in the room. We had been on a red eye the night before and were looking forward to a nice soak. Best Western did not disappoint! The room was spacious, clean and as advertised. And the breakfast was better than any we have experienced at comparable hotels. If we are ever in Columbus again, we will be back.

The location right off the highway was nice. The area seemed safe. The rooms were a bit musky smelling, but they seemed clean. Nice breakfast and front desk service. (Big sign when you walked in the lobby directing guests to not park in any other lot except the hotel lot to avoid being towed. There's another hotel right next door...apparently there have been parking issues, although we had no problems parking.)

My husband and I came to Columbus for two nights and we stayed at this hotel. We had a king-size suite. The bed was comfortable, but the room smelled a little musty, but we got used to it and it didn't really bother us. It was very clean and up kept well and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic also! Great pool and small but useful fitness room. Thanks for the hospitality. Room 204

We came to town for a 2 night stay. I was very impressed with the professional service we were given from the front desk and breakfast worker. Our room and the hotel were clean. Our bed was a little uncomfortably but everyone has different bed preferences. We would stay here again when in the are.

BIg fan of BW. First room next to elevator, asked to change and immediately accomodated. Second room was gross, crumbs all over floor and needed mopping. Angela at front desk immediately moved us to third room which ALSO HAD A GROSS FLOOR. I told Angela I needed to vacuum the room (which I would NEVER ORDINARILY DO but I was not moving again) and she said she would vacuum. So the front desk clerk left her position to come vacuum our disgusting floor; she did it with professionalism and good spirits. The entire time (as I became increasingly disgruntled) Angela held her cool, was sympathic, and bent over backwards to accomodate us. Two different rooms on 2 different floors is a big problem and their housekeeping sucks. PS the breakfast was really good.

The hotel located on the west side of Columbus is just off I70 near I270. Located in a commercially active area with plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy access to any of the Coumbus area attractions and less than 10 minutes to the Hollywood Casino. Everything from the rates, the rooms, the beds, the service, and without a doubt the free breakfast are the best I have encountered at this level of hotel.

Maria worked exceptionally hard to provide a warm and tasty breakfast. I couldn't believe all the effort she put in to satisfy a room full of people! The staff members were very helpful and nice. I appreciate the $50 reward for staying 2 nights.

2 night stay for a conference. Great shower and towels. Clean room, great service. The jacuzzi room was nice in that it had a couch too. The bathroom door was smaller than most but passable. We didn't try the food, pool was closed for repairs but opened early, didn't use.

We use this local hotel as an extra room for in town guests or when getting a night away from in home elder care. It is consistently a solid choice for a very pleasant stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet.

Nice hotel, but the reason it was chosen was because of the pool and hot tub. Water in pool was warmer than the hot tub, when i asked at front desk i got a casual o ya its more a cold tub now its not working. I dont blame the workers but i do blame the hotel for not updating the web site.

The warm pool and clean rooms were great and my friends and I enjoyed our stay! The breakfast was delicious, I especially enjoyed the selection of 7-8 toppings for the waffles. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful.

I love this hotel and I will continue to stay here. I also think the staff is top notch and can't be duplicated. I'm still giving a 5 star review, but the reason for my title is due to an issue happening during each of the last 2 visits. The time before, there was a glitch and my card was charged twice. It was eventually reversed, but it took away from my trip funds. I know mistakes happen, but it's not something that I see very often. I didn't get a wake up call on my most recent stay and it delayed my morning and I got a late start. With how good the staff here is, I know those two issues were not intentional, but still an inconvenience. I will definitely be back, as this is my go-to hotel in Columbus

We love this Best Western, the staff is efficient and friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is convenient and offers a nice variety. The hotel is also easy to find and access. It is also far enough from the highway that you don't get a lot of traffic noise.

The Hotel was very pleasant and clean. A Nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly and caring. They even took the time to text me and make sure my room was as I expected. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed there for 5 nights. The rooms and common areas were very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hot breakfast was good and changed slightly each day. The area and hotel was quiet.

1)Very good, wide range of breakfast. Staff wrote down main dish by three days ahead. They even prepared to-go bag breakfast on Thanksgiving Day. 2)Good and warm swimming pool in winter time. 3)Good house keeping.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We just stayed for one night, the pool/hot tub were great. The free breakfast was perfect. And the icing on the cake was the 12:00 check out. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is located near shopping and restaurants - easy to reach off the interstate. Spotlessly clean rooms, quiet, with a very good breakfast bar! Although the pool was closed for maintenance during our stay, the pool area was very inviting and clean. Attentive and pleasant front desk staff, along with the staff working the breakfast area. The room was very clean, quiet and supplied everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The large fluffy and soft towels were a treat! The only negatives I might add is the room did smell like stale cigarette smoke - the long term smell from previous smokers and the king mattress definitely needed replaced. The mattress had deep sags through the middle making sleeping uncomfortable.

Friendly service, excellent breakfast, clean rooms and easy process!!! Called late at night to get room right away and they were able to get us right in. We were having to travel unexpectedly due to a death in the family.

It is deceptive to advertise this motel as a Columbus, Ohio option. It is in another adjacent town. The rooms and facilityl are very satisfactory. The location and choice of restaurants and attractions is very unsatisfactory.

The staff were friendly, courteous, & attentive! Should I need to return, I will be staying here again! Ask for Margaret (Front Desk); she's AWESOME! The room was clean & housekeeping (upon approval) would come in each day & tidy up. Continental breakfast was provided. Hotel was well-kept.

This hotel was very convenient to the highway and very near a Bob Evans restaurant. It was clean and we had a good night of sleep. I felt it was a safe area which was important because we were traveling across country with a packed car and had to leave belongings in the vehicle overnight. Staff was helpful. I will likely stay here again.

Stayed here in August 2022. Found the staff very helpful. Varied breakfast was nice. Hotel is very close to many restaurants, a Walmart, and many other services. Also very close to I-70. One of the quietest hotels we ever stayed at.

We stayed here for a few days on our 1st trip to Ohio. Good location to the things we came to see such as the Columbus Zoo! Margaret, at the desk, was very helpful and engaging as I inquired about several local attractions and restaurants throughout our stay. Room was clean and comfortable and nicely appointed. The breakfast were always hot and fresh. I would not hesitate to stay here again should we be in the area. Only downside was the pool was out of order at the time.

I very rarely leave reviews, but this one is definitely warranted! Nice accommodations, not too far from down town, but enough away from it for peace and quiet when needed. But the breakfast is what I can't get over, it was simply amazing! The 3 ladies servicing breakfast were phenomenal! They kept it clean the whole entire time even while it was busy and nothing had a chance to run out because they continually kept it replenished the entire time! The food was hot, fresh, and delicious and plenty of food options for everybody to choose from!!

We travel a lot as a retired couple and have stayed at numerous 3 star hotels, hoping for a nice, clean facility with a low expectation for post-covid breakfasts. This Best Western was way above our expectations. Check in was quick and efficient (thank you, Dustin), the room and hotel environment was clean and pleasing to the eye. The breakfast was a total surprise; hot selections with your customary pastries, drinks, yogurt. And, finally, a very personable staff on all shifts. Great location that offers numerous eating options with quick exit/access to I75.

The staff provided Almond milk for breakfast. More hotels should do this for the folks who are lactose intolerant. Hotel was within walking distance of a Bob Evans restaurant. Very convenient location. Easy on and off of I-70

Great hotel and location for my travel needs , currently no pool available though i guess it wont be fixed till Dec 22 due to parts issues with the pandemic but that is beyond the hotels current abilities.

NIce hotel right off of the interstate. There are tons of restaurants a few miles down the road. Rooms are large and are really conveniently arranged. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Breakfast good, staff very friendly.

Very nice hotel for the price. Breakfast was very nice for a hotel breakfast. Lots of variety. Unfortunately the pool was broken but I knew that ahead of time from other reviews. Staff was very pleasant.

Check-in was easy, the front desk staff was friendly & joked back with us. The rooms were very clean. Hot & cold breakfast available; eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruits, and waffles (unfortunately, there was no bacon, but that wasn't a deal-breaker). The pool/hot tub was not open, again, not a deal-breaker, since it posted on the website, so we knew ahead of time.

Our stay was very easy, from checking in to checking out. The breakfast was great, hot, and with many choices. Our room was clean and the right temperature. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Columbus!

My son's relocation back to WNY, New York, from living in Hawaii for 20 years, was highlighted by a father and son cross country trip from Oakland, CA to Rochester, NY. Hotel was great, desk clerk was awesome, maids was nice and kind, rooms was very clean. Stay 3 nights , room was clean daily. Breakfast was great each day, loved the new waffle machine!! The is a nice hotel, with a wonderful staff!!

I needed to make a last minute booking in Columbus, OH and I was greeted over the phone with pleasant service. They not worked out a room for me for the next day but with the jacuzzi option that I was hoping for. Upon arrival, we were greeted with kindness. Our room was spacious and clean. My only complaint about the room is that both the TV and jacuzzi were outdated. The service was excellent and very friendly staff.

My husband and I stayed in the Presidential suite for a "staycation". It was a nice get away. The jacuzzi tub in the room was very relaxing and the hotel is quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff at the front desk was very nice. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. This is a great location to get right on the freeway and into downtown Columbus quickly.

I've been to this hotel at least 5 times and I'm always extremely pleased. All of the staff members go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet part of town. One of my only complaints is that the entrance street is at a terrible intersection. It's very difficult to make a left out of here to get back to I-70 at all times of the day. But other than that, I'm a happy camper. The hotel has a few restaurants right near by and there are many more in a 5 mile radius on Hilliard-Rome Road. We would definitely stay here again

We choose this hotel for the pool and location. Wish the pool and hot tub would have been open but totally understand! Everything was amazing even breakfast! We didn't lack anything in our room and knew if we did we could get it at the front desk!

This is a great hotel. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast options are plentiful and you can get a hot breakfast again if you want. The fitness center was easily accessible and had several options of machines to use. The staff is helpful and friendly.

We were very pleased when our room looked just like the pics in the reservation. Very quiet and convenient location just outside the big city lights. The hotel was very clean and modern in appearance. Comfortable in our room with everything we needed at hand.

I travel back and forth from Florida to northern Michigan about every six months and this place is one of my favorite hotels for a number of reasons. First of all,both Margaret and Angela are very cordial and professional,and that's where a great experience always starts. Margaret put me up on the second floor and in a room facing the backside,where it's a great deal quieter. Only downside was that the ice machine wasn't working,and a hotel this size needs more than one. Margaret was most accommodating and went next door to get a bag of ice which I used to replenish my cooler. One really appreciated item that is needed in all hotels was the drop in disposable bath mat for the tub/shower combination that provided sure footing when showering. ...That is being thoughtful! TV and internet worked flawlessly and were easy to use. Next morning they had a full hot breakfast,not that "grab n go nonsense" that is blamed on the Covid fraud,but in reality is just a cost saving measure. That great breakfast was the perfect way to start a day. Absolutely one of my best hotels. Good job you guys. :)

The rooms had a musty smell. I did not sleep well because the beds were like sleeping on cement. However, the staff was friendly and I was impressed with the fact that fresh berries were available with breakfast.

We had extra time on a family trip and decided to make a side trip to Columbus and visit the Columbus Zoo. We made a last minute call to this hotel and were able to stay two nights. From check in to departure, everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well stocked . Our room was comfortable and quiet.

The staff is more than amazing. It literally feels like home away from home. I wanted my family to have the same experiences that I have had from Best Western and they DID! YAY. We talked about the trip all the way home to NC.

My stay was wonderful, including breakfast dining, sleeping quarters, everything was very clean, and the ambiance was magnificent. I would truly recommend this place for anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Location is also a plus, because of surrounding restaurants.

Just spent one night here instead of making 2 hour drive home late at night after getting together with friends. Definitely met expectations and quality for price. No complaints. They had one of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel in a long while. Many hot (eggs, meat, waffles, biscuits and gravy) and cold options, along with lots of fresh fruit. They had 2 workers staffed just to work breakfast and they were both very diligent with keeping everything filled, and also area cleaned. I got a very clean impression from the hotel itself. Our room was very clean and bed was comfy as well.

We stayed a few hours, in need of beds to sleep in instead of our car seats during a 30 hour trip. The same front desk associate was there for our check in and out and she was incredibly pleasant, and efficient. The lobby and the room were both beautiful. My mom kept saying she was going to steal the pillows because they were so comfortable. (The only reason she didn't is because I work at our local BW and she felt bad.) Highly recommend this location if you're passing by and in need of some quality rest.

The hotel appeared to be fairly new and was clean and good looking. We had a problem with the refrigerator in the room and they switched us to another room without hesitation. The breakfast had a good selection of options but the quality of the food was disappointing. I couldn't tell what the egg entree was, it was a soupy mess. The bacon wasn't real bacon but looked like it was shaved from a "Bacon Loaf" and cooked. The coffee was coffee syrup combined with hot water, not real brewed coffee. The self serve cereals weren't available, there was only prepackaged ones that didn't include the standard Raisin Bran. The prepackaged muffins/danish were bland. Adequate selection but the food was not good.

Despite Ohio removing COVID mandates, this property still hasn't opened the pool. Wish I would've stayed at another hotel as other hotels have fully opened pools and common areas back up. Room bedding was dirty too.

We were on a long drive to the East Coast and Columbus was our stopping point. I always try to stay at a Best Western if possible. They are always reliable. The room was large and clean. Check in/out was smooth. Grab and go breakfast was good. I had yogurt and fruit. Took a delish muffin for later. I also had some granola type bars. Only problem I had was that the shower didn't drain well.

My stay at this hotel was disappointing. My room was searched after my 1st-day stay. The head Housekeeper was the nicest person I met at this establishment. I was then told my stay had ended on the 4th day. When in fact I had arranged to stay at the hotel through the 5th. There was a pretty rude lady that worked at the front desk. She acts like anything you ask her is putting her out of her way. Would I stay at this hotel again? No! Searching the room is something that goes on in Columbus. They wait until you're gone like you are being watched then search your room. This is the third time my room was searched in this city. I was born in this city, and it's sad to see what it has become. If you book through a travel company, they will not give you a receipt when you leave. I have no receipt for this trip. The booking company thinks the property issues receipts, The property thinks the booking company should issue the receipt. It's a terrible situation travelers are put in, and the non-sense that goes on in hotels like this makes it worse.

Check in was easy, cards stopped working after 1 day and went to get new cards and ask why the front desk was short and rude with comments and acted like we interrupted her day. the breakfast was pathetic unless you like a granola bar, cereal, and muffin. When asking for extra items for the room the front desk was again rude and short with you. Found that their were no robes and writing paper in the rooms. Woke early to get a good start for sight seeing and breakfast was not ready at 6am or 630am. The cleaning staff were wonderful, and generous when asked for extra items like shampoo and conditioner. The place was easy to mind and located near a variety of food places. Overall if i was coming in for the night and heading out the next morning and not expecting breakfast it would be a great place to stay.

Note: This review is by a Best Western "Diamond" level rewards member. I have stayed at BW properties in eight different countries and many more cities since 2008. I booked this property due to its relative proximity to a nearby obstacle course race happening that weekend. The upgrade for rewards members was not granted due to being fully booked. Okay, I get that. Checkin was otherwise smooth. The room was clean, well-kept, and comfortable in the main room and the bathroom. Breakfast offerings were decent, with covid considerations in place. Wi-fi internet was more than decent. However, my issues with this hotel were that they could not grant a late check-out (After 1pm) due to not having any cleaning staff available after 2pm? Really? That's your excuse? Apparently, not having full-time housekeeping after 2pm was normal for this property, as per a long-time reception employee. I had also gotten no points reward or other substitute at checkin, as is supposed to happen with rewards members. How are you supposed to handle housekeeping emergencies? I couldn't wrap my head around this excuse. I had contacted the hotel's general manager about this directly and most of the response was some PR boilerplate about COVID-19. I felt disrespected by the GM...if she'd actually read my concerns, she'd have realized my issue had nothing to do with covid. Not in the slightest. My intention was to finish my event, go back to the hotel, get a nice shower and maybe a powernap before a 5.5 hour drive back to Western NY. Instead, I checked out even before my event and after, drove back home in very dirty athletic wear, and was only able to wash my hands and face in a rest stop bathroom. It felt very undignified. I feel the way the GM runs this property is the main reason why I didn't get a late checkout. And her out of touch response made it worse. (Reception not to blame; they were merely the messengers.) I felt no perks or benefits whatsoever for being a rewards member. I still have respect for the BW brand, but will not stay at this property ever again.

Decent hotel for the price, close to highway and decent restaurants. The only issue I have is you can hear the doors opening and closing from other patrons. I like this hotel because of price and location.

Easy and friendly check-in. The room was of a good size. The mattress was a bit soft and sagging in the middle and there was lots of light in the room at night. But, overall it was a satisfactory stay.

I love this place. Restaurant's all around you. Wallyworld across the street. Accepts clc, limited parking for the bobtail. Call first. The manager remembered me. Love this place. I really mean it. Spacious rooms. And clean. Did I mention I love this place.

Marijuana, loud music, party, kids running and screaming in the hallway, no masks, no 6ft apart and all that was happening until 3am. Front desk witnessed all of that and did nothing about it. They have no limit on how many people can stay in one hotel room. It felt like all the thugs from neibouring areas came to party and smoke pot at this place. The quality of people who made my stay so uncomfortable is very low. We were very tired after long drive, checked in at 11pm and wanted to sleep and relax. The noise made it impossible to do that. I would not recommend this hotel to my enemy.

the room was not as sanitized as the description led me to believe (notes and plastic covers for remotes, etc that they were cleaned and sanitized were not there) we had got in late and planned to sleep in however bright and early the cleaning crew was talking so loud outside my door for an hour that was not possible. checked out an hour earlier than I wanted because of it.

Traveling with kids is a challenge but with 3 children 2 of which are special needs it can be a nightmare! Being able to sleep our family of five helped to alleviate most of that stress! Our suite was spacious, comfortable and equipped with wifi (special needs most have!).

Stay was nice and comfortable. Restaurants across interstate with local pubs serving up good food and great atmosphere. Would definitely stay again. I also think trip advisor needs to lower their minimum character requirements!!!

The entire place smells like weed & I had my kids there, one with medical issues. & beds were super hard & uncomfortable & they wouldn't refund us cuz we touched the bed.... so we were stuck there in that ****hole because we already paid. & the breakfast sucked, could have had better stuff.

As a distraught wife, out of town, in an unfamiliar area looking for a safe/clean/quiet/close place to stay I was pleased to find this Hotel. I had considered hotels on the other side of US 70, but am glad I chose this one. It wasn't big on fancy, but it was very accommodating. When I called to make my reservation DIRECT to the hotel, from check in, to check out, everyone was wonderful and helpful. They were 12 minutes from Doctors Hospital where my husband had been life-flighted to & needed a heart cath. They were easy to access both directions as well. I was also pleased how well lit the parking area was and felt very safe there. Thank you for providing me with a bit of respite in spite of my circumstances. (I'd give you 5 stars if COVID hadn't shut down your breakfast services-I had to be back to the hospital so early for my husbands procedure, nothing was open in the direction I had to travel) Thank you!!

We were traveling through during some really rough weather . . . snow, sleet, rain. Am glad we got this place. It was easily found off the interstate. The staff was very nice; the room very nice. We enjoyed our brief stay. I highly recommend this Best Western. The breakfast items provided were the very best we had encountered in our weeklong travels (although limited because of Covid).

The room was very clean, had both a fridge and a microwave. Staff were professional, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was great even under Covid situation, they had a great variety you could take back to your room.

I routinely travel back and forth between northern Michigan and Florida,and one of my overnight stops is just outside Columbus,at this place. I've stayed here many times,and the both the conditions,and the service have been outstanding,although they need to get back to having real breakfasts,not just the grab n go.Better yet,let the customer decide which one they want. Rooms are well planned,and separated from the lobby to reduce noise, as is the ice maker,back near the pool area. I'll be back in the spring!

When you select a place to rest, you hope to do just that. At this facility, the halls were loud and lots of commotion. There were 5 pillows on the bed, all of which were like sleeping on an empty pillowcase and with 5, I felt like some should have had life in them. The AC unit was loud and seemed to run constantly where most times, it runs, cools and rests... Not here.. didn't get quality rest or quiet time as I had hoped selecting a hotel outside of the city.

The good - The room was big. The bad - The bathroom was tiny. Tiny door, couldn't fit 2 people in at the same time. Bed was lumpy and sunken in the middle. Vending machine had expired items, which we didn't know till we already purchased them. We tried to hook up our Apple TV (which we always do at hotels) and after talking to the front desk girl a couple times, we were told the manager said not to bother him anymore with our questions. So we never got it working. We received a gift bag for being Best Western members, and one of the items was already opened. We asked for late check at 1 out and received a call asking when we're we leaving and then a knock at the door asking when were we leaving. Very frustrating. We found stains on the couch and furniture and the tub was leaking at the tile. The water pressure on the bathroom sink was very low, hard to brush teeth/wash face. The walls are paper thin. We could hear talking in other rooms, yelling in the halls in the middle of the night, cleaning staff early in the morning talking loudly, the guy above us had a coughing fit which made us feel nervous in Covid times, and then we could hear him filling up his jacuzzi. Didn't sleep well with all that noise. We will not stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at this motel during our three night getaway. We visited the wonderful Air Force Museum in Dayton and spent the rest of the time in Columbus. The motel location is convenient. Right off the interstate but quiet. It is close to the casino, shopping and nice restaurants. This is the third time we have stayed at this property. Each time the room was clean and comfortable, the clerk friendly and helpful and the stay was pleasant. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We spent one night here on our cross-country road-trip. The room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the a/c unit was a little noisy. This was a nice hotel, would stay here again

I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago;it had just been renovated. it was great then & even a little better now. Even in light of the COVID issues this hotel has been very well maintained & is as immaculate as it was 5 years ago. The current staff is very friendly/helpful. Very conveniently located close to I-70 with a great many restaurants/stores within a 5 minute drive. I highly recommend this hotel fro any family or solo traveler needing a great place to stay in the Columbus area.

When we got there. Didn't know the pool was closed. Call to get extra towels. They never brought it up. We had to go down and get them. They had the grab and go breakfast. But you could get your own coffee and juice. They told us when we got there. Could cancel our reservation. Because of the pool being closed. We drove 5 hours to get there. So didn't know any other place to go. Room was dirty. They only have ice machine on the first floor. And there was only 2 floors. Will never go back.

Very clean and comfortable room, in a good location. Friendly, and helpful staff. We were a little bit disappointed that the pool was closed, but other than that everything was perfect for what we needed.

When booking through Hotels.com we requested: "no room next to ice or vending machines, stairway door, or elevator please". Well, even though I reminded her of our request at check in, she still put us in the only room across the hall from vending and ice machines, the swimming pool door, and worst of all directly next door to the swimming pool pump room. So, even with the tv on, we listened to doors slam and the loud pool pump constantly run from 3pm till 10pm when they turn the pumps off. However, we were awakened early next morning when the pumps were turned back on. This truly was our "room from hell" that I suspect everyone experiences, hopefully only just once. Outside of the desk clerk that made sure we received the room we did NOT want, the staff was favorable, and friendly and the room was clean. So, all I can say is if you stay at this Best Western, don't let them put you in room # 137.

We came here expecting to have a great time good food and a great pool this place is disgusting. The pull out bed was horrible Springs just dug right into your back. The breakfast was just a granola bar and a bottle of water. For some stupid reason they waited till Saturday to service their pool and so course we couldn't use it

we stayed one night passing through Columbus. Large, clean room. Our room had a couch and coffee table which are always nice. Would stay here again. Noted the back stairwell was carpeted, a nice feature but rarely done.

It was very clean beautiful with an accomadating staff. Due to the nature of the appointment earluer in the, we had a special request when we made the reservation. The hotel staff was extremely helpful with fulfilling this much needed assistance. We cannot thank the staff enough for their going the extra mile to make our stay as pleasant as pissible.

Stayed at this hotel on the way back from Florida,and will definitely stay here again next fall,when I head south. Met Margaret when I checked in, and she was extremely pleasant and cordial. Got a first floor room not far from the lobby,but noticed that the rooms were separated by sound proof doors to the lobby,and breakfast area.I notice details,and could sense that a lot of thought went into the design of this place,and I could also sense this franchise was locally owned,rather than corporate. Also clever how the ice machine and the pool are at the end of the hallway,again separated by sound proof doors that keep the rooms quiet! The room itself, was very spacious,and well appointed. High ceilings,and good lighting,along with quick and easy Wi Fi connections. Nice desk,and comfortable computer chair. King size bed was nice and firm,with a pillow top pad over it,and I slept like a rock. Heat and AC controls were easy to use,and accurate. Bathroom was a big improvement over the standard version. It's a very spacious walk in shower only,with adjustable shower head,and a nice, safe, non slip floor,along with a grab rail on the side. Lighting and venting were more than adequate. Next morning,because of the virus problem, the normal hot breakfast was replaced by a "Grab bag" alternative, which wasn't too bad. it consisted of a muffin,a nutrition bar,yogurt cup,along with spoon and napkin. Choice of juices,and coffee were also available in the breakfast room. Met Howie at the counter,and had a brief conversation,and then was offered a complimentary copy of USA Today,which I took with me. Both Howie and Margaret were a pleasure to deal with in spite of the stresses I'm sure they were both under because of the virus. ...True professionals,both of them! Hope to see them again next fall, when I head back to Florida for the winter.

We had an urgent call from a family member that required us to come to the Columbus area. We wanted to be close to the hospital. This hotel seemed to fit what we needed for the extended stay. The staff were super. The room was comfortable, spacious, and very quiet. The manager Patty was very understanding and compassionate. The beds were comfortable, and you don't need a step to get on the bed. The breakfast was amazing, so much better than the continental breakfast at other hotels.

Walls are paper thin. Heard people in the hallway until 1130pm. Can easily hear complete conversations and every door open and slam. As another reviewer notes, the exercise room doesnt officially open until 8am. I was "lucky" that the overnight manager let me in at 5am (while complaining the whole time about how busy he was and what a terrible night he had had), but I probably should have just worked out in my room. The treadmill would not turn on. The buttons on the elliptical were barely responsive and even then the program did not follow my requested workout plan (maximum workout level of 36 instead of 10!! That was tough!). There are no sanitizing wipes or towels for cleaning equipment. Also as another reviewer noted, the floors are laminate, not carpet. I'm still on the fence as to if I like that or not. Would have been nice to at least have a rug. The internet cut in and out. Had to constantly re-enter password. Very frustrating. I need a hotel to get a good nights sleep, catchup on work, and to exercise after sitting in a car or conference all day. This hotel did not meet those basic standards for what I need. There are plenty of alternatives in the area. Wish I had chosen one of them.

The hotel rooms were clean, spacious and quiet overall which is important to me. I would stay at this hotel again. The only disappointment that I had if I had to list one was that the room did not have a rug. The floor was a laminate of some type which feels colder in winter. Other than that, I was completely satisfied staying there.

My wife and I stayed here for the 6th time and we were very satisfied as always. Kudos to the staff for always accommodating us and upgrading us when they have a room available. I am a Diamond Select member and they always make us feel like royalty here. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi tubs in the room are a wonderful treat after a long day of driving. The hotel is easily accessible from I-70 at Exit 91/A. This is the only place we would stay in the Columbus area. We will definitely be back

The room was very nice and clean. Internet works. Pool was closed when I was there though. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is nice. They even have to go bags and bottles of water to take on your way out.

We stayed here for about a week in August 2019. Perfectly located (Hilliard, which i absolutely love) for everything we were doing. Hotel staff was the some of the best we have encountered! Breakfast was perfect. Room was very spacious for 3 adults. Would definitely stay here again.

Let's just start with the fact that the hotel was visually appealing, the lobby was quaint but the clerk was fantastic. I was welcomed so warmly offered bonus points and a gift (as a diamond member). This doesn't happen very often and it set the tone for a great restful night. The next morning the staff were almost as good as the night before. If I get a chance to come back even if I have to go a couple of miles out of my way, I will.

I was in town for a concert and stayed at this hotel on a Saturday night. The entire experience was wonderful, beginning at check-in. The woman at the front desk was smiling and very friendly and made us feel welcome. The rooms are very spacious, especially for the price. I have stayed at much more expensive hotels where the rooms were much smaller. In addition, everything was spotless. The beds were very comfortable, and we all slept well. The breakfast is your typical free hot hotel breakfast; they offered egg patties, sausage patties, cold and hot cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and make-your-own waffles. The food was all very good. We again had a very pleasant experience with the staff at breakfast; they were all very outgoing, smiling, and friendly. We really had a great experience with no complaints. We have stayed at many hotels in this area and this is our new favorite. We already booked a return stay in July.

Hotel is well situated along the highway. We were happy to find out that the floor was vinyl instead of carpet. Room was clean and well equipped. Internet signal was also very good. Only negative point is the noise in the corridor that kept out of sleep until late and very early in the morning( 4 AM). It was probably a coincidence.

Booked this hotel by using a "one night free" voucher, so was happy it included a suite. The hotel was clean and the service was great. Wish the breakfast times were available past 9am, but other than that, I would recomend this hotel to others needing a room in the area.

Most of the time, staying at a hotel involves some combination of uncomfortable mattresses, overactive air conditioners, and a continental breakfast that is nothing to write home about. Our stay at the Best Western Suites involved none of that: The beds were comfortable, the room temperature was perfect and, after a great night's sleep, we went downstairs to enjoy a well-stocked continental breakfast with do-it-yourself waffles, mini- omelettes, sausage patties, milk, a selection of juices, and other breakfast items. The bathroom was clean and appeared to be new; the adjustable shower head was great. Surprisingly enough, the shower was quiet enough that it didn't wake up those who were still asleep. Why not give our stay a perfect rating? The mattress on the hide-away sleeper sofa was marginal and there were no extra pillows available. (Luckily, each bed came with four pillows!) A minor criticism regarding the breakfast sausage is that it appeared to have been warmed up in a microwave. (But it still tasted great!) Also, the only yogurt that was available was a "lite" yogurt with artificial sweetener. On balance, though, the pluses far outweighed the minuses. Would we stay there again? You betcha!!

We enjoyed our one night stay. This hotel is well maintained, clean and in a safe and quiet location. It's also easily accessible from the expressway. Everything functioned properly in our room and the bed was also comfortable.

the rooms were not good, we could hear the neighbors the whole night long. we will never stay here again. we did not call because we got in late and just wanted to go to sleep. the only good thing was the breakfast and it was good and plentiful

I recently stayed at this property for 3 nights with my family. I felt that it was conveniently located and it provided a great value. I will run down the highs and lows to help others make an informed decision. When we arrived at the property check-in was easy. The clerk welcomed us and told us how to get to our room as they do at all hotels. What was different about this hotel is that about 15 minutes after getting into our room and getting settled, the front desk called to make sure everything was okay with our room and to ensure that we didn't need anything. I can't remember having this happen at any other hotel in the past. Fortunately the room was great and had everything we needed. The room was typical if not a little spacious. It featured 2 queen beds and a sofa that converted to a bed. We liked that the floor was vinyl because we could see how clean it was. There was a refrigerator and microwave as well as a Keurig machine. The TV was located centrally and could swivel, so it could be viewed from either bed or sofa. This is noteworthy because I have been in several hotels lately where it did not appear that the TV was intended to be viewed. The air conditioner was a unit on the exterior wall with digital temperature setting. It met our needs but was a little loud when it cycled on and off. We also got some outside noise during our stay that may have been through the HVAC unit or window. This was due to the parking right outside and people coming and going. Overall this noise wasn't a deal breaker but keeps this property from getting 5 stars from me. I could deal with the amount of noise so it would not keep me from coming here again. Breakfast was great and well maintained. There was a kitchen area in the breakfast area with a window where the person in charge could prep food and keep an eye on what was needed. She was very approachable when we couldn't find things and even remembered another guest from their stay a year before. There were waffle makers, cereals, breads, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and rotating entrees which while we were there included sausage links, patties, Canadian bacon, egg/cheese omelettes, an egg dish with hash browns and onions, and egg patties. The next days rotating items were on a sign in the lobby each day so we knew what to expect. The quality of breakfast enhanced the value of this hotel for my family and is something I will remember when I book it again in the future. The last thing I wanted to mention is that because we stayed over Thanksgiving, I was not willing to have housekeeping take the time to do anything to our room while we stayed there. I was there to see my family, so I hung out the 'do not disturb' sign hoping to give staff more time with theirs. Despite this, every night we came back to a bag on our door with fresh towels and toiletries. Overall I think the staff at this hotel really cares about their guests and goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay. From the front desk checking on us, to the breakfast attendant remembering a past guest, to housekeeping leaving us supplies so we wouldn't have to ask, the staff is really what sets this property apart from other options. It seems like an older property that has been renovated and well kept, but it doesn't have the noise insulation that newer properties I have stayed at have had. With the ease of getting onto I-70 and I-270, this is a great choice for anyone staying in Columbus or Hilliard.

Excellent customer service. Comfy bed with lots of pillows. Delicious buffet breakfast. Warm pool and hot tub. Convenient location, with easy on and off highway. Very clean and well run. Will definitely stay again.

We wanted to get away for a few nights and just relax. The pool and hot tub were great, as was the breakfast each morning. The rooms did not have carpet, which we didn't love but also understand - so much cleaner to not have carpet. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Very clean hotel. I like the laminate flooring vs. carpet. Staff was very friendly at check in and checkout. Great hot breakfast with a very wide variety of options. Nice quiet hotel with comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. Hotel located just of I-70 so very easy to get into and out of if passing through.

Our family traveled to Columbus for the OSU game and extended our weekend. This place is great for the money! Pool was awesome and the staff was great! We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Very clean and spacious. The room feels more hygienic with laminate flooring and love the fact that the remote is refreshed between guests with a clean, wrapped one. Beds are comfortable but just your typical bedspread (no down comforter). Breakfast had a nice variety. Including hot waffles, oatmeal, sausage, egg biscuits. Would stay here again if in the area.

The price was good. The location was good. The bed was great. It was a little weird that the rooms are not carpeted. Doesn't have that warm, nice feeling. I did not, and would not stay here again. There are other choices.

We had a King Suite. Good location for us. Breakfast and internet. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was awesome. There were restruants near by and it is close to the interstate and a short trip to OSU.

Room was super clean and staff was super nice. Price was good and location to Collage was a few minutes out. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and the young lady who was servicing the roof was wonderful. great experience, we will be back

After a very long day of travel was greeted by a kind employee at check-in. We had the king suite with the jetted tub. Just what we needed. We both slept soundly and comfortably. Morning came too early since on we were on pacific standard time one of us missed their short window of time for breakfast. We had to park in the back of the building which didn't make us feel it was very secure parking. Would most likely stay at this location again. No eats within walking distance however about a mile away there were many fast food and sit down eats.

Very friendly staff, great amenities and room was clean! Very close to many different restaurants so one has a variety to choose from. Can be difficult getting into the main road from the hotel if you try during morning rush hour, but fine any other time.

this hotel was ok, breakfast was best part room appeared clean until we pulled out the sofa bed. garbage in it and multiple stains on mattress pad. don't want to know what mattress was like. slept on top of couch, not on sofa bed

Stayed 5 nights. First room had an awful smell so i asked to be moved which was no bother. Beds so comfy, bathroom clean & room well equipped. But the highlight of my stay was the lovely, friendly, helpful & funny breakfast room attendant, Sheylynne. She went all out to help me any time i needed it. She is an asset to this hotel.

The first room we stayed in had a connecting door to the room next to us and very loud women kept us up all night. The second room was very clean but smells a little musty also a few things were pretty outdated bed linens Etc the continental breakfast was really good but they really need to put a tip jar for the poor girl that worked so hard.

For a mid-range hotel, this BW was excellent. Modern, updated decor throughout the hotel! One of the nicest breakfast ever offer free with a hotel package. Lots of selection, both hot and cold. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely plan to stay here again!!!

The hotel was very clean, my room was spacious and very clean, and while I was there, I was able to enjoy the fitness room and hot tub at a great rate. If in Columbus again and need to stay at a hotel, it would definitely be Best Western Suites!

We took a trip across the state for a long weekend. Our initial hotel ended up a huge flop and I will forever consider ourselves fortunate that there were still rooms at this Best Western. The room was unique, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the pool was clean/accessible/and a great way to relax after a long drive.

This hotel was just ok. The rooms were dirty and smelled musty. The furniture was dusty, the floor was dirty, and some of the rooms smelled like smoke. They were close to the location we needed and had lots of places close by.

Overall great hotel, staff were very friendly and the room was nice enough. The grounds were nicely kept. The location was good for restaurants and shopping. The lobby was nicely decorated and breakfast was well done. I would stay here again.

Just stayed over one night on our way to DC. We found this hotel to be beautifully updated with a modern flair and VERY clean. There was no carpet in the room, replaced by a vinyl wood look flooring in the main area, very smart. The room was clean. We were here late August, there seemed to be a lot of cars in the lot, yet the hotel was quiet. We took a swim later in the evening and had the pool to ourselves. Another couple came as we were leaving. Pool area was also clean. Water was a bit cold considering it was supposed to be heated, but not intolerable. The hot tub was a perfect temperature. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast but still good. Our stay on a Monday featured cheese omelette and sausage. I noticed before we checked out the next day would feature scrambled egg mix and sausage. In addition to their featured items were waffles, with a variety of toppings available including raspberries, strawberries and whipped cream. They also had bagels, muffins, oatmeal and dry cereal. Another nice touch was that they had these “Grab and Go” breakfasts in paper bags in the lobby in case you didn't have time for a sit down breakfast. I believe they had cereal bars in them. So in summary, clean, modern, updated hotel with a friendly staff and decent breakfast couldn't ask for much more. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Breakfast: Loved having berries, almonds, raisins, ..., whole wheat bread. Bacon was right cooked (not crispy, not overcooked). Cons: no vegan-friendly (except for cereals -including oats- and fruit): no soy/almond milk, no vegan pastry, etc.. Sofa-bed: mattress is in very bad shape, you feel all the springs, it needs to be substituted. All the rest was good, nice staff. Be careful not to park at the Comfort Inn!!

This was our second stay at this hotel. It is very clean. the staff is friendly. The breakfast is excellent! We were traveling for an event for my 12 year old.It is a very family friendly hotel. We will stay here again.

Never again will I step foot in this hotel. Some of the rooms might be ok, room 235 had a very strong smoke odor. I was unable to sleep. I was traveling with a young child or I would have refused the room and just continued my drive home. Room appeared clean, think whatever refurbishing they did missed treating for smoking odors.

I always stay at BW. Great rooms, mattresses, and breakfast! The rooms are always clean. The staff always goes above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. If you have a choice, choose Best Western Suites!

Paid $145 for a king and sofa bed room. I choose cash for check in when I get there, but they told me I still had to use my card. Then pay cash at checkout. So the charge took forever to be removed after I paid cash. Immediate musty smell in the room, I liked that the floor was hard, no rug. No password information at all, when I called they put me on hold forever I had to hang up and yes "I just need the password!" Before they tried putting me on hold again. I had just checked in too. When I went to the front desk there was never anyone there, or one person. Went into the pool started looking for towels, no signs at all, a guest told me they are way in the front desk area. Floors were very slippery and I was freezing. Worth maybe $60 stay and no more. I paid for a suite and got a motel experience.

I tried this out based on the reviews and the price. The room smelled like an animal had stayed in it the night before. Being tired I decided to ignore it. When I woke up in the morning there was a bug with many legs crawling by the toilet. Killing it I chalked it up. Then I moved a towel and several bugs of varying types crawled out. I promptly left and ended my stay. I let the desk know why I ended my stay early. They didn't seem surprised or overly concerned.

This BW is a great value; close to the freeway access, but you can barely hear the highway. Asked Samir at the desk for ideas for walking, he found us a very nice park for hiking/walking in Darby Creek nearby. Bison, blooming flowers, hikes in the woods, everything you need for a very nice walk. Samir went the extra mile to help us find some good walking nearby (about 9 miles away, he printed a map to make sure we got there ok). Excellent breakfast, slept like babies in the comfortable beds. Love the engineered wood floors better than toxic carpeting. Think even the laundry was free to use (didn't try ourselves, but the info folder on the hotel said it was free).

Stopped here for 1 night while traveling home from Wyoming. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was satisfying also. I would stay here again. The did run out of some things, but that happens.

Once again BW is the best value price point when I'm searching for hotels in the area. The fact that i got a suite and paid about $20/night less than other comparable hotels is a wonderful value (not to mention very good internet and a good breakfast). Hotel was recently updated, I like the fact that there were NO RUGS in the room! I think it is either vinyl plank or commercial vinyl tile. It just felt cleaner, smelled cleaner and was actually cooler. Easy on and off from I-70 with a number of restaurants and gas stations nearby. Felt very safe as well.

Stayed over the 4th of July weekend. Great amenities, great breakfast, Staff was very polite and helpful. Pool was nice and the fitness center was great. All the staff of the hotel was very polite and helpful.

My wife and I decided to stay here on our way to St. Louis and this hotel was excellent. I've stayed here a few times alone and I've had the same great service. The hotel is clean and comfortable. All of the staff members go above and beyond here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is easily accessible from I-70 at Exit 91/A. We will definitely be back again

Best breakfast of any hotel we've stayed at this year. Easily worth 1/4th the cost of the stay. Clean, friendly and updated. Nice indoor swimming pool. Grounds maintained well. Easy access from I70. Close to restaurants.

The front desk person was lovely. We were given a room on the main floor. It was a bit humid, but very clean and extremely roomy. The breakfast included was excellent and the dining are was very clean. Great value for what we got. On and off the highway very easily. No noise from the highway.

We enjoyed our stay - the room was good size,clean and comfortable. There was a family with an infant next to us and we did not have any issues hearing them...only heard baby crying when we ran into them in hallway. Pool area was a little small and strongly smelled of chlorine, the hotel layout was odd - we had to go they breakfast area to get to the parking lot, and our room had 2 lotion and no shampoo. Minor issues but that's why it didn't get 5 stars. Would stay again

A nice facility to stay while visiting family living in nearby Galloway, OH. Parking can be an issue if you return too late in the evening. The breakfast is very well done with many favorite items and greeted by a lady that will make your day!

Excellent hotel. Staff are excellent and enjoyed their inaction with guests. Probably the friendliest Staff in any hotel we've stayed in. Clean rooms, breakfast area etc! A must place to stay if traveling through Columbus, OH.

The hotel is located in area that is well-lit and felt safety. We had a room on the first floor in the rear of the building. The room was quiet and clean. There is a Bob Evans Restaurant is within walking distance. The staff was nice and friendly, Especially "The Breakfast Party crew". Our room did not has any carpet on the floors.

This is a very nice place oh, I was totally shocked how clean it was how friendly everybody was and how accessible you are the things to do in the area . The breakfast was very good, has a nice pool and jacuzzi. And they are very accommodating.

This location in a good spot. Right off of I 70. We did not hear any road noise being so close to the highway. Close to fuel stations and places to eat. Pooland hot tube were very nice after a long trip too.

Front Desk Staff: Check in staff was decent. In the morning at 6AM, the front desk staff had a "we will be back soon" sign even though she was just sitting in the back office, maybe sleeping? Not very available to your paying customers. Check out staff we're fine, but this is the only hotel that didn't ask how our stay was. Beds and Room: Nice updated rooms, but there were long hairs everywhere including in the bathtub. Beds were decent, and they were happy to provide extra bedding when requested. Fitness Room: First off it doesn't open until 8AM. I've been to MANY hotels over our past month road trip, and never have I had a gym not be open until 8AM. I asked the front desk if I she could open it up a little early, and nope, nada. I know it's attached to the pool, but who worked outs after 8AM in a hotel. Secondly this is not a fitness room, more like a closet that has been crammed full of cardio machines. There is a 3x3 square of floor space where you can use the limited dumbbells they provide. But even that area is part of the walkway in the gym, so if you actually use the bench, you'd be blocking the door and anyone else who wanted to get in. Also seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile as there was hairballs on the floor and cobwebs in the corners? Breakfast and Breakfast Staff: Breakfast was pretty good. The omelettes that were a nice change from the normal scrambled eggs. But when we asked the breakfast staff what about the apparent gluten-free options, she didn't have a clue. Actually it seemed like she didn't even know what what gluten-free was. Not her fault, seemed like she just hadn't been trained. If you have a sign that says gluten-free options are available, you might want to make them actually available. Otherwise the breakfast attendant was amazing. Helping to clear our plates, keeping the food stocked, and even helping others with kids to their tables. Very nice to see. Parking: Free and included.

Overall good trip. Hotel was average. Clean and suitable for our stay but for the money would've preferred a different hotel because of size of the room, noise and not enough food and drinks for breakfast.

We took just a small family get away for spring break and this hotel was wonderful. Nice pool area for the kids to play. Wonderful breakfast! The kids loved making waffles in the waffle maker. Easy access and near restaurants and shopping. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, we had two adults and four children. I would highly recommend!

The general manager, Cindy, was very helpful. We, and the couple with whom we were traveling, encountered issues upon our arrival. Cindy took care of both issues immediately. We appreciate that type of customer service! The hotel itself is older and in need of some updates. Soundproofing is an issue. Breakfast was adequate.

Wonderful hotel. Such a relaxing environment. It was such a nice surprise to drive up. The area was great. Really nice little ice cream stand across the street too! Enjoyed the pool and had a great nights sleep. The rooms are lovely. Everything was sparkling clean.

Stopped here on a road trip. I was pleasantly surprised! Value for the price is GREAT! Room was very large, bed was comfortable and large. Pillows were fluffy and comfy. There was breakfast included- basic but great! Cereal, bagels, muffins, toast, eggs and sausage, juices, coffee, tea, waffles. I enjoyed it! Hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub- it was clean and very busy! Lots of families in there, it was pretty full, so we didn't get to go in but wish we could have! I will definitely come back to stay here when I road trip back home! Staff was friendly, check in and out was very quick and easy.

There was signs all over our room of not smoking but when we pulled down our blanket to go to sleep there were cigarette burn marks on it. I have the pics to prove it. It was supposed to be a relaxing get away weekend for my husband's 40th birthday and when we went to use the pool we were the only ones it it. At this time the maintenance man and front desk associate felt this was the best time to come in and shock the pool without letting us know they were doing so. We decided it was best to get out when they started dumping chemicals in without saying a word. When we said something to the front desk associate at check out she just looked at us with a blank stare. I won't be back! We were in the presidential suite and from the looks of it nobody rents this out, because there was a dead spider on the floor in front of the toilet.

Check in was a breeze, clean rooms with hardwood floors, perfect pool and easy access to room. Couldn't of asked for a better stay! While we are in Columbus next time we will stay here! Thank you to the breakfast ladies who were super helpful and sweet.

As a BW Rewards member, I was greeted with a smile, warm welcome, 2 waters & snack bags as well as the cookies on the counter (Monday, 2/18). If requested or available you will be upgraded to a suite. I enjoyed a room with a jacuzzi tub. Bring along workout gear to enjoy the gym or float in the pool. The breakfast omelet and ham were a delicious surprise. And the breakfast to go bags were available if you are an early riser. Located within1 mile of the hotel are multiple fast food restaurants, a Target, a Wal-Mart and a Marshalls. With the location being near the highway, you can get to many other restaurants in the area within minutes. About 20 minutes from the airport.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The Staff - ALL OF THEM - we extremely helpful and understanding with us coming into Columbus when a winter storm was supposed to hit. They were totally understanding when we asked if we could add a night to our stay and were most accommodating by allowing us to go from one room the other (the room we were in was not available for the second night) at 9 am and not have to wait until the "normal" check in time. Both of the rooms we were in were extremely clean and well maintained, the beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of towels in each room. The hotel is quiet (at least both of our rooms were) and the breakfast was very good and very well stocked. This will be our go to hotel for future trips to Columbus!

The hotel was very nice. We were looking forward to getting into the pool but every time we went into the pool area there were 10-12 unsupervised children under the age of 12. No adults in there at all. They were running up and down in the hallways and making noise night and day. We tried 5 times in the 2 days we were there to go to the pool and it was always filled with young children running, jumping, and the noise was awful. We could hardly sleep for the kids running through the halls. No guard at the hotel to keep the kids under control. The best thing was the lady in the breakfast room named Tami! She was more than awesome. The breakfast room was very busy and she worked her butt off. Friendly, nice and she made such a great impression on us. Tami is the wonderful and I do not know how she kept up with keeping everything filled up. She was amazing. Like I said very nice hotel but things needed to be kept under control. We never did get to swim and we were looking forward to being in the pool and spa. That was disappointing.

Overall service was great. Close to highway and downtown. Would choose this location again. Easy to find and close to food establishments. Went to Bob Seger concert so it was close to downtown arena where he was playing

We really enjoying staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff helpful but not intrusive and breakfast is varied. It's really a great place and very conveniently located for our travel needs.

Always a great place to stay. Each and every time we return it seems as though some sort of updates or renovation has been done, and that is very nice to see. Staff are always so very nice and welcoming, each and every staff member you pass throughout the building is kind and greets you with a welcoming hello or a smile. Breakfast was very nice and attended well. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE STAFF THAT MAKE THIS HOTEL A NICE PLACE TO COME BACK TO.

We were in town on Business, stayed in a Friday evening. Check in was quick and easy. Front desk personnel very friendly. Asked for linen for sofa sleeper and they were very prompt in getting that for us. The king bed was very comfortable.Room was clean,shower was huge. Nice hot breakfast.I liked that there was no carpeting in the room.was easy to get to and in a quiet area. Deffinatly stay again.

I was pleasantly surprised at the size and decor of the room. Looked to be newly updated with wood looking tiles. The whole hotel smelled great. Even had an indoor heated pool. Even though breakfast was offered, your are within walking distance to several restaurants. Great location off the expressway. Even though near the expressway never heard anything. Room service was wonderful.

This hotel is idea for anyone going to the Nationwide Arena, not far from the hotel is Roosters restaurant which is affordable and a must. Coffee in room and at breakfast bar is a tad bit strong to my liking. Overall nice room and would recommend

This Best Western was the nicest stay on our vacation. Clean. Comfortable. Affordable. Plenty of modestly priced restaurants in the area, two within walking distance. Best breakfast bar as well. I would definitely look to stay here again.

Hotel front & lobby clean. Room clean, no problems. Bed very comfy, plenty of pillows if you choose. Full breakfast, plenty of food, staff was there to refill, clean spills, etc. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Arrived before the check-in time to reserve a room for that night. A room was available immediately and we checked in abourt 10:30AM. Room was clean, comfortable bed and good breakfast. Would stay here again.

Hotel access was a little difficult to find as the building is hidden away from the access of the connecting street. However, once there the hotel was in very good shape Interior was in good condition. Second floor room was good sized, clean and furnishings were in very good condition. Breakfast was on par with what I expect from e Best Western. Room did not have much traffic noise but unfortunately we had neighbors that partied next door until the wee hours. We walked over to the nearby Steak and Shake for dinner.

We like the BW phone reservations since they are more direct than others. The breakfast was not up to their standards. There was no skim milk and all the cereals had sugar. They need to have some that are just cereal; you can add sugar, but not remove it. The coffee was either very old or just not made right. It was bitter and I could barely drink it.

All in all it was just ok. I made a stop on my way to Indianapolis. It was late so options were slim, but I would have like more from my $100 for the night. The place seems to have been remodeled. The room looked nice although it was very musty. The smell reminded me of my grandparents basement. The mattress was too soft. The breakfast was much better than most free breakfasts with a fair number of choices.

Good clean hotel with good access to the high way so minutes away from tourist destinations. The breakfast was adequate and had a good selections of food options. The room was clean and had ample amenities.

My first impression wasn't great because the person behind the counter refused to give us a later checkout time even though we didn't get there until fairly late in the evening. And the floor of the elevator was sticky but everything else improved after that. The housekeeping staff was helpful; the breakfast, although not fancy, had a large variety to it and nice sweet rolls. The bed was very comfortable and the room is average in size. I liked too that there were microwaves, refrigerators, and a safe in the room along with the swimming pool and coin operated laundry room. It seems like a very convenient place to stay if you want to be near the airport or Zangmeister Cancer Hospital. Most of the restaurants within walking distance are fast-food. I'd advise you to stay away from The Waffle House late at night as it's known to be very unsafe during the night. There is a good restaurant, or at least there used to be, at the nearby Marriott.

After driving for hours through heavy downpours Best Western came to the rescue with the perfect room for us.The mattress was so warm and comfy.This was a good spot away from the noise of a bigger city and airport.Breakfast was handy in the a.m.

This property is recently updated. The staff was friendly. The whole place was clean--even the hallway carpets. The bed and pillows were comfy. The bathroom was spacious. And the price was very reasonable. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of foods, including waffles, omelettes, and crispy bacon. For dinner, two restaurants were an easy walk away. I highly recommend this hotel for a weary traveler.

We were driving across country and got tired and called best western. We have 3 children and they were very accommodating. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendy. I recommend staying here. I will for sure next time.

From when we checked in to when we checked out, we had nothing but a good experience. Our room was amazing. It had a desk, a tv with TONS of channels and free on-demand programs, two queen beds & a futon. The futon was an unexpected nice surprise. My son ended up sleeping there, leaving me to an entire bed to myself. There's an elevator for easy access to the upper floor rooms & security cameras on all of the enteances & exits. Plus, you need a keycard to get into any other door besides the front door, which set my mind at ease. The pool was deeper than most hotel pools at 5ft & the hot tub was spacious & relaxing after a long day of walking around the zoo. The free breakfast offered many choices, including a make-your-own pancake station, which was awesome! We did need extra blankets for the futon, my son is a skinny tall boy who gets cold easily. The front desk immediately brought up enough extra blankets for all three of us, not just for him. So I have to commend their efficient & speedy service. I would definitely recommend this hotel & would stay again, if I were ever in the area. The only negative thing I have to say about my room is that the doors close quickly...meaning if you're not aware of it, it loudly slams shut behind you. It was a little distracting late at night when I was trying to sleep & my neighbor's door slams shut, disrupting the silence. Having said that, it wouldn't deter me from staying there again, nor with recommending this hotel to others.

After a long day of visiting with my children and grandchildren, it was nice to come back to a quiet room where I could enjoy and movie and get a nice, restful sleep. The bed was super comfortable which, coming from me, is saying a lot because I have a very bad back.

Great Service friendly staff a great place to spend the night in between road trips. Breakfast should be extended to 11 am as people usually tend to sleep later when traveling. Overall Sleep quality was great a god vaule.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good and hot with a pretty good variety of things to choose from. The pool was a bit chilly for my liking, but clean. The hotel appearance was just like the pictures online. We stayed at this location because of the value and the close proximity to the Ohio State Fairgrounds, about 15 min out. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will look to stay here again next year.

We had a great time at this hotel. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was great and plentiful. (we didn't go to eat until almost 30 min before it was over because we slept late and everything was still fully stocked) Only issue we had w/the hotel itself was the pool. Hot tub was broken which isn't a big deal, but the pool was very cloudy, dirty (gobs of hair and such floating) and slimy on the bottom. Def. would recommend staying here and will def. return when in the area again.

The room was very nice and the staff was wonderful. The breakfast was well stocked and the internet speed was good. I would recommenced this hotel for business travel. I did not use the pool but it looked well kept.

I prepaid for the room for a business trip. For the price paid, it was an exceptional value. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and staff is very friendly. Check in with prepaying the rooms was extremely quick. The entry cards were already programmed and ready to go.

Opened the door, and the room reeked of a humid, musty smell. The air conditioner, while it did cool the room, pumped in air from the outside only, no recirculate function. The unit also had a nasty, loud rattling sound to boot. There was literally so much humidity in the room that the beds and pillows were damp to the touch. Add to this a bathroom door with a broken handle, mattresses that were well past their service life (bad sag, even as far as hotel mattresses go), and the fact that none of their beds have traditional pillows (only small square ones, four on each bed), and you have what amounts to a horrendous stay. I went and asked the front desk for another room, but of course “We have no other rooms available”...

Breakfast hours did not support the times needed by the traveling softball team. We had early games and the hours of operation did not support our needs. We spilled something on the floor and while cleaning it up realized we were probably the first to clean it in a while, very dirty. There were also massive amounts of cobwebs over our heads while in bed.

Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. We would stay there again. Close to downtown Columbus, but far enough away to not be pricey. Easy off and on from Interstate. Pool looked nice.

Staff was pleasant , nearby restaurants, very clean rooms with refrigerator and great breakfast with selections from oatmeal to omelettes to waffles included in rate. Would highly recommend as a stop on way to final destination.

We stayed at Best Western Suites for 4 nights during a family trip. Overall, the hotel is nice and is your typical Best Western. Pool area is clean and fairly large. The one major problem is the room doors do not close tightly AT ALL. Therefore you can hear every little noise in the hallway and when you're in the hallway you can hear every little noise coming from the rooms. That 3 year old throwing a tantrum at 9pm sounds like someone has given him a megaphone. Your neighbors coming in and out of their rooms all hours of the night.... You can hear them and their doors closing all night. We went out and purchased a fan to drown out some of the noise at night. The beds are mediocre, definitely cheap mattresses but they're clean. The floors in the rooms are tile which is nice because you can only imagine the stuff that ends up on the carpet in hotels. Bathroom is roomy and the room itself is very spacious.I more than likely wouldn't stay here again simply because of the noise factor.

our room was on the 1st floor. Very clean, king sized bed plus hide-a-bed. huge tv, nice pool (which we didn't have time to use) wi-fi free breakfast (varied but always had sausage gravy and biscuits) fantastic staff.

We stayed two nights and I have no complaints. The room was clean, staff was friendly, and pool and hot tub were warm. Breakfast wasn't great but definitely not bad. Nice location in a quiet and safe area.

Our first room was 234, and it was an old room and hadn't been remodelled yet. The room had a VERY strong smell of cigarette smoke. We came to the desk and let Margaret know, and she didn't apologize or show any sort of care. She simply said, ok, we're fully booked, so I'll see if I can switch you into another room. We were then given room 134, which was updated. The room didn't smell like cigarettes, but it did smell musty and seemed very humid. The bathroom was clean in the center of the room, but further exploration found hair and dirt around the edges of the tile floor. The breakfast was very good, had lots of hot options like biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and sausages and varied from day to day. The wifi was fast. The pool was a nice size and the hot tub was also a welcome touch. Thankfully, when I checked out Cindy the manager asked me about my stay. When I expressed my disappointment with the customer service and the smells in the room, she was very kind and apologetic. She also gave us a significant discount on our stay due to the poor experience. I really appreciate her customer service and pro-activity.

Stayed at the Best Western in Columbus. A wonderful hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. This is a chain hotel that honors their commitment to provide the best for their customers.

I made a reservation well in advance of travel for my husband for May 30, 2018. When my husband arrived he was told there was no reservation made for him for that night. They told him that the room was reserved for May 29, and that since he did not show up, our credit card was charged one night's rate. I gave him the reservation number over the phone which he relayed to them, and they stated there was no reservation under that number. I immediately took a screenshot of the reservation and sent to him clearly showing the room was reserved for May 30. They finally gave him a room. When he arrived in the room and went in to shower, there was no shower curtain in the bathroom. He called the front desk and someone brought one.

Good location with a restaurant with walking distance. The room was very large with a separate sitting area with TV. Considering the size of the room the washroom was very small. They could have used some of the excess space to make it bigger. Only disappointment was that the front desk staff could have been a lot friendlier.

Always stay at this hotel when in town. Caring employees and then relax at the pool, always a great stop. Breakfast is posted the night before so you can look forward to what they are serving. Pizza and cookies are put out at happy hour a couple days a week to satisfy that little craving for a snack.

I've stayed at this hotel on several occasions and I can easily say that it is the best hotel in Ohio. The rooms are fit for a king and super clean and comfortable. The price is always fair. And the staff members are all wonderful people. I'd like to say a special thanks to Heather, Margaret, Cindy, Howie, Samir, and Allison. You've all gone above and beyond for me every time I've stayed here and I will definitely be a returning guest. The hotel is easily accessible I-70 at Exit 91 if you're heading east and Exit 91A if you're heading west. And there are a lot of restaurants and stores within a 3 mile radius for added convenience. I will definitely return again and again.

This hotel was excellent, great service from the minute we walked in until we left. Rooms were spotless, beds were very comfortable, staff friendly and willing to ask any questions. One of the reasons other than positive reviews we chose to stay here as we noted manager Cindy addressed all reviews and the couple of complaints, which told us she cared about her hotel. We me Cindy when checking out and she was very cordial, friendly. Thank you Cindy and your staff to a wonderful stay, we will be back.

We have stayed at this place a couple of times on our trips across the state. Always clean, nice rooms, easy check in/out and breakfast is nice too. Afternoons they have Pizza available for the guests which is a nice treat.

Our family booked 3 rooms for 4 days to attend our nephew's wedding. The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. We especially like Petra who was in charge of serving breakfasts. BTW, the breakfast was very good. The bed was huge and comfortable. We even like the pillows. The hotel was renovated 3 years ago and is in very good conditions, nice and clean. But we saw a crew continuing working on the renovation.

My husband and I recently stayed here using points. The room they gave us was clean enough but was right next to the fire door for the hallway. This meant that the door was slamming shut every time someone went through it. You would think that the hotel would assign someone who stayed at their chain enough to use points for a free room a room that was quiet so they would be encouraged to stay there even more. Not here. The decor in the room was tired. Boring tan paint on the walls and dull brown comforter on the bed. The carpet had either been burned or damaged somehow, ugly gold in color. The sidewalks had been painted gray to cover the red underneath but the gray paint was peeling making the exterior looking dilapidated. The staff was nice enough but the hotel is in great need of an update.

Or, for that matter, Michigan, Tennessee, Oregon or Arizona. I've criss-crossed the country by car as often as I can, almost always staying at places offering the same moderate rates and amenities (I can't even imagine paying for my own breakfast), like many of my fellow Trip Advisors, and rarely find that favorite that becomes a destination of its own, worth planning a trip around. This is one of them and a good thing about such a handsome and prosperous mid-sized city like Columbus that it is on the road to just about anywhere else. After finding this place by chance last spring, I made it a point to return this year to see what made it so special then. Not only did it not disappoint this trip, it reminded me among the multitude of off-road accommodations across the country just what it takes to really make a five-star stop. Take notes: It starts with the quality and hospitality of its staff. None of those little signals to road weary travelers that they would rather be working somewhere else. It isn't being coached by a management book either: there is just a genuine happiness around this place that makes a visitor feel comfortable and at home. They also keep up the place so that the freshness of the rooms and the imaginative art on the walls and the little porcelain French Pig that offers the breakfast special of the day all looks both original and fun, too. The rooms are laid out like small studio apartments with little personal touches: this year, there was a non-slip pad on the tub. Why hasn't anyone thought of that one? And, yes, every piece of equipment in the gym works too. If you were the fussiest hotel critic (and some days I am), it would be hard to find a thing out of place-- and if you did and happened to call the front desk, I know someone even fussier than you are would be right over. Those full breakfasts work are varied with both plentiful and healthy choices too. There is the location: just off the interstate and set back from the main commuter roads to offer quiet grounds and a feeling of security-- no need to keep one eye on the parking lot at night. Its size is just right: large enough to have a large family pool (which the kids love), but not so over-sized you feel like you've just invaded a group of corporate noisemakers (all paying less than you are). Here's a clue: you actually enjoy spending time outside your room. Finally, here is the ultimate test: you sleep well here and you leave rested and ready for probably a less special overnight somewhere else. My future trips will begin and end with a reason to return to Columbus.

Clean large room. Only thing is no blankets or sheets for couch bed. Found out after getting ready for bed you have to get that stuff at front desk no big deal just took a cover off bed. Plenty of room nice clean bathroom well stocked. In a nice location close to interstate and places to eat and shops. Went to Steak and Shake for dinner.. Was ask to go to Country inn and Suites behind it to use pool because a child had gotten sick in the Best Western Pool . it was no problem to get in other pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good had egg and cheese omelets was really good. Not far from Cosci and main Columbus.

Hotel was nice. Excellent value for the hotel, location, and amenities. During our stay, a child had gotten sick in the pool while we were out to dinner. When we arrived back the lady at the desk informed us of the situation and also let us know that hey had called the neighboring hotel and they would allow us to swim there due to Best Western having to close the pool. Breakfast was an average hotel breakfast, nothing fancy but a good start to the day. The only two negative things would be the wifi didn't work in the room and we had a stand up shower instead of a tub in our room. With small children it makes it a little more of a challenge, but not a huge ordeal We booked late so that might have affected that. Overall we were pleased with the staff, cleanliness, and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

I stayed here last night and had a very nice experience. I was a little skeptical about the Best Western Brand but have to say I was very pleased. From the airport shuttle, the hotel is experience, through check out, I could not have been more pleased. I was upgraded without a request to a jacuzzi room. After a long flight and a difficult day, the jacuzzi was just perfect. The room as very clean, the staff was wonderful, and the mattress was heavenly. I'll definitely stay here again.

Staff was very helpful and the hotel was very close to Columbus and so easy to get downtown to the convention center. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Internet worked well and having breakfast ready in the morning was a great help to get on the road for work. Thank you!

The carpet in the hallways is disgusting, multiple places where there has been vomit/spills where they have cleaned up the mess, but not actually cleaned the carpet. Evening check-in staff was friendly but morning check-out person was rude and inattentive. When I asked her about check-out she said "leave your key on the counter" then turned around and walked away. No "Good morning". No "How was your stay?". Apparently I had inconvenienced her by asking a simple question. Breakfast was decent at best but is not served until 7:00 - not good if you need to get up and out early - I had to grab a quick plate to go. Should have spent a few extra dollars and stayed somewhere else.

It was very clean and the internet was fast and the food was good. The check in and check out was quick and easy in and out also the employee was very nice also the room was at a nice temperature is was a nice stay. Thanks you.

I had stayed at this property once before and I was less than impressed. But my second visit and all the ones after that have been superb. It's a clean place at a fair price and it's cozy and quiet. Most of the staff here take great care if you and know what hospitality is all about. Cindy is a great manager and actually cares about the guests. Heather is super pleasant and efficient. Margaret is always super nice and has gone out of her way to get me a great rate and has been accommodating with my points. Howie is always really nice and we talk for a while. Samir is always friendly and knowledgeable. And Allison is really sweet as well. As much as I hate to say anything negative after saying so many nice things, Rebecca is terrible. She's rude and I always feel like I bother her when I ask her for anything. Whether it's for towels or a wake-up call, I always get the cold shoulder. You have a great hotel with a lot of great people. Rebecca is the only downside to this hotel. But everyone else is superb. I will definitely return again and again.

Probably the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel in a looong time! Everyone was extremely friendly and the entire hotel is super clean. The kitchen help was very polite. Lobby was a little hard to find but no big deal.

Called at the last minute to get two rooms for family traveling from Midwest to east coast. Hit bad weather and needed to stop for the night. The person taking the reservation was great...very very accommodating. Rooms were clean, comfortable, exactly what was needed. Thanks so much for helping us in such a friendly manner! Highly recommend.

We love this hotel! The location is extremely convenient in relation to our family in the area. It's also very comfortable and well maintained, with a great staff. It's also really nice to have the option of both a hot and cold breakfast.

This BW was a fantastic location as well as very hospitable and a great value! The pool and jacuzzi were a great hit with us,clean warm and the service of fresh hotel towels for swimming supplied by front desk was a bonus you don't find in your average hotels. It was a very wonderful stay and superior service and accommodations! Will return again next time we're in town to see grandchildren!

Check in and check out staff were just average-could have been friendlier and more pleasant. Room was very nice and clean. Overall Hotel area was pretty quiet. Breakfast was very good, both hot and cold items. Breakfast staff was friendlier then check in and check-out staff.

Nice size rooms. Great location off the interstate. There was Loud talking in the hallways at times in the early evening. Breakfast was pretty good, coffee in breakfast room was luke warm and tasted horrible.

Great hotel very close to the interstates and just far enough away from Columbus that youndint have to deal with the congestion of down town. Traffic getting out of the hotel is a little tricky at times.

Hotel is close to interstate,the room I was in was very quiet,large,clean.The bed was comfortable.Variety of eats close by.Shopping approx. 1mile away.Easy access to downtown.Easy check-in and check out.Seems to fill up quick.OK breakfast bar,area kept clean.Small parking area.Nice pool area with hot tub.Small work out area.

I have stayed all over the US including major cities and this is the only hotel that my truck has ever been broken into (please note I never leave any valuables in my vehicle and realize it is park at own risk). Anyhow when providing feedback to manager the canned response was it is the holidays, we can't be responsible and park at own risk. In other terms tough luck we are running a business here and guest security is not important since it takes away from our profits. Oddly enough hotel staff admits several holes in west fence line, security cameras are blurry and knew ahead of phone call that PD doesn't come out unless $3k minimum theft etc.. if you value your vehicle and contents stay somewhere else!

The room was advertised as a suite but it wasn't. Stains on the walls, stains all over the pull out bed, nasty old bathroom. Nasty carpet. Dust all over the desk. The good thing is that the linens were clean and there were no bed bugs.

Nasty hotub and the amount of money I paid don't ever go to this hotel. My hotub was dirty and the place had ??.. The breakfast was cheap also for the amount of money you pay there. And the amount of money you pay there is it hard to have a shuttle van

Last Spring my wife and I traveled to St Louis Mo to visit with our youngest daughter and her family to celebrate our Ist great grandndaughter. The Breakfast area at that time was in a vitual mess.I left a pointed review with Trip Advisor and the Hotel.Now went we arrived in the Fall it seemed the situation was remedied much to my surprise.MY y wife and I will continue to stop at Best Western Hotels in Columbus because it is very conveniently situated at the midpoint of our Journey between Rochester NY and St.Charles MO

This was my first stay at this property and I was rather disappointed. Cindy was very kind about giving me an upgrade and I certainly do appreciate that. But the front desk staff didn't really impress me much. Samir was pretty nice and helpful to us. Heather was alright. She was sort of polite, but she didn't really seem to care or feel anything whenever I interacted with her. And last and by far the biggest disappointment was Rebecca. She's one of those people that I knew wouldn't like from the start and I was right. She was rude and obnoxious and gave my girlfriend and I the cold shoulder. And I feel like we just annoyed her without saying or doing anything. We stayed Friday night and tried to stay again on Saturday and Rebecca wouldn't give us the room we reserved. She did absolutely nothing to help. She told my girlfriend that she would charge her card and then take her cash at check-out. That's not how it works. And what stupid hotel takes the money at check-out? We could've crawled out the window and left and changed the credit card after. I just knew she was making up excuses to deny us service. It's an okay hotel. They'd be a whole lot better if Heather had more of a personality and Rebecca wasn't so nasty. Best Western, you have disappointed me this time.

Roomy and extra sofa bed for guest if needed. My hubby and I loved this room! I also liked my room way better than my friend's room when I visited her at the Holiday Inn Express. I'll always look for a Best Western on all of my future small or big trips.

Everything you need is within reach at this hotel.Got the presidental suite that included a hot tub in the suite.The hot tub was roomy enough for 2.The bed was huge,actually the suite was huge!!Also the hot breakfast is an added bonus with donuts available all day.There wasn't many people at this hotel it seems so we got the pool and Jacuzzi all to ourselves it was such a nice treat!I will definitely be coming back to this hotel anytime I go to columbis.Well worth the price and you won't regret staying here!!

Considering that this was a very busy and eventful weekend due to Buckeye vs Penn State Game, this hotel was conveniently located. Room was larger than other comparable hotels and the price was very reasonable. The room was clean and staff helpful.

We had a booking here end of Feb 2017. We checked in, and were given a room number and key. When we entered the room we were given, we found it to be uncleaned. The bed was not made, there was random garbage around the room. Housekeeping had clearly not touched it. We returned to the front desk and told of our issues, and the person was very apologetic. We were given another room, this one appeared clean and without issue. Besides the initial mistake, we were happy with our stay.

BW Suites on the west side of Columbus, just off I-70. We were greeted warmly and helpfully on our late arrival. The room was really nice with great visual separation between the sleeping and sitting/desk area. Wi-Fi worked great. Everything clean fresh and quiet. Hotel honored our request for a room far from the highway. BEST of all: nice pool, swimmable for short laps on one lane and OPEN UNTIL 10PM. Good BW breakfast. The biscuit gravy was as rich in sausage as any we've ever had on the road.

Just a quick stop on our trip, but what a find. Beautiful hotel, room was very spacious, updated, clean... Just so many positive things to say. Book early and look for deals. Even the front desk was amazed at the price we locked the room in at. If I go back to Columbus, this is where I'll be staying!

It was an okay stay. Not thrilled with the attitude of the desk clerk. Cleanliness of the room was poor. The desk clerk wasn't exactly rude, but not very helpful either. The housekeeping staff obviously didn't do much while we were there including emptying the garbage.

This hotel was both our first and last stop for our bus tour and cruise. I'm glad we stayed here a second time because this was one of the two better hotels we patronized. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable with extra pillows. Amenities include in-room refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast area was kept stocked and clean by an attentive staff member. If I pass through the area again, this hotel would be my place of choice to stay again.

We received a nice rate for our bi-annual assembly which was one of the deciding factors in choosing BW. The hotel has recently been remodeled, it's modern, clean and even smells inviting. I noticed the pleasant smell as I walked down the upper hallway to the fitness room and pool area. Nicely equipped fitness center. Free weights, stability ball, mat and cardio equipment. Great! The pool water and pool area was too warm for a refreshing swim. The cleanliness would have been 'very good' if I hadn't noticed dust bunnies behind the furniture. Everywhere else seemed 'very good'.

This B/W has a wonderful, friendly front desk staff! It pays to be a B/W Rewards Member because you are always offered a gift bag or extra points upon check-in, this one offers both! The central location, cleanliness and great breakfast made our stay very enjoyable. I would love to come back here some day!

My friends and I booked this hotel for a girls weekend. The room was great we had enough room for everyone and it was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfy and the free breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel met my expectations - good price and nice room; however, our hotel room didn't have a fresh smell. Maybe it was a smoking room? Otherwise, everything else at the hotel was in working order.

We are on a bus trip/cruise with Golden Frontier and stayed here on our first night. Bed was comfortable; breakfast was varied and excellent. Menu consisted of eggs & Canadian bacon, a variety of cereals, yogurt, muffins, etc. They also had Krispy Kreme donuts.

We were in town from Atlanta for a Glass Animals concert at 9/30/17. We were happily checked in early around noon ( we did not use the room until later that night) to avoid a late night check in after a long day. Very clean, safe place stay.

Won't find a hotel with better service than this! Hotel is very nice, clean and well maintained. Location is convenient when doing road trips. Not a 5 star luxury hotel, but not a 5 star price either.

The hotel is a beautiful modern building easy to find off the expressway. Well kept lobby and the rooms are nice size, clean and quiet. The highlight was the surprisingly great breakfast. Not the usual waffle, muffin fair. We frequently come to this area for family and will look forward to returning to this Best Western.

We really liked this place. We stay in a real dump two days before so it made this place even better. Check in was easy and quick, the price was good and the staff was great. The breakfast was very good. We will go back.

We traveled from Cleveland to attend the OSU football game and visit our son. The staff was very accommodating. We had a snafu on an online hotel reservation not with BW. They gave us the Presidential Suite at a wonderful rate. I have stayed here several times. Love it!

Great modern and clean hotel. And it was an easy drive from the OSU football stadium. We checked in late and we were warmly greeted and were upgraded to a Jacuzzi suite due to membership status. I love the little extras on the sink (shower cap and makeup towelette remover) Great stay, thank you!

We stayed 1 Night during a Leadership Business Convention. Clean Room. The Location was close to the Columbus Convention Center. I enjoyed using the Business Center to Print my Reports & get Work done while traveling.

Spent 2 nights here, sister-in-law's family did the same. The location is excellent - we chose this hotel for its proximity to the highway and points west, but it's really not that far from downtown or even the airport. I liked the mattress, we slept well, and there's plenty of room to spread out. Our room 115 was the first one off the lobby and the hall door closing between us and the lobby gets a lot of use in the morning, so try for one farther down the hall. The place was hopping on the weekend, lots of folks here for the Labor Day weekend. Breakfast was so-so (we're spoiled with European breakfasts). Everything is warmed up rather than cooked fresh. Lots of carbs on the second morning - eggs would be nice daily for protein. Hubby enjoyed swimming in the pool both mornings.

Have been down here 3 separate times from Minnesota for my son's medical appointments and this is by far the best place we have stayed! The hospitality and very friendly staff are awesome! They had exactly what we were looking for! Definitely will stay here again if another treatment is needed! Thank You Best Western Staff for the awesome stay!!

We had a nice suite at the Columbus Best Western. Room was great, breakfast was good, pool / spa were very nice. Price was higher than other chains that we stayed with, but company (BW)support and comfort made it worthwhile.

The hotel room was very nice and clean and able to accommodate 3 adults and 3 children! The staff was very friendly. we chose this hotel because it wasn't too far from the Columbus Zoo. The pool was a bit on the chilly side, but the hot tube felt great! Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We reserved this hotel to take our 9 year old grandson on his special grandparents trip. We took him to the zoo and then to the Ohio Caverns on our way home. The motel lobby and common areas were very clean. Our room had a funny odor, almost smelled like someone had smoked in the room, and the carpet had several "spots". Our grandson slept like a log, but my husband and I had trouble and didn't think mattress was very comfortable. The pillows were great. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The breakfast items were presented nicely, but we felt that the bacon was undercooked and nuked it in the microwave. Staff were all friendly and to be honest we did not complain about the odor.

Room was clean and comfy. Enough room for our family of 5. We booked a two queen with a sofa sleeper. Hotel staff was not the friendliest and the breakfast was not the beat. Overall a good stay. Parking lot a little small as well.

recommend the hotel, but since its new not all the mapping tools out there give you accurate directions :) convenient location to activities downtown (being next to highway) will stay here again on next visit to columbus

The staff at this location is friendly and willing to go above & beyond to be helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. While the breakfast may have been a little disappointing, there was plenty of it and it was kept piping hot. Overall, a pretty great stay.

We chose Best Western because of price and I had an excellent experience qt Sandusky location plus one of hotels that provide free breakfast. I was disappointed in our room in Columbus because the bed was too soft and no place to put our personnal hygiene stuff in bathroom. Staff was excellent though from front desk to housekeeping.

Always a great stay. Very willing to make any accommodations you might need. We stayed here while my grandson who is 5 months old was having open heart surgery. They gave us an excellent rate. Couldn't be any happier.

Enjoyed our stay, pool was wonderful and staff very helpful. Breakfast was a bonus. Newspapers were available and you could grab an apple or banana if you needed a snack from the breakfast room. Pool area was clean and towels were provided.

Clean, comfort, great price!! This hotel is at a great location for where we were going out at. The room was nice and clean the beds were very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when we come back to Columbus.

My husband and I came from Ontario to see family. The hotel staff was awesome and the cleaning staff worked hard to make our room perfect. The breakfast staff was extra helpful to make sure my food was nut free. The things negative was different staff were on their phone too much and and so many did it at the front desk One night around 8 pm we used the swimming pool and the sign says no children alone in the pool and there was. Night staff didn't even notice or stop them. The boy was about 16 and the girl was way younger. I would stay here again.

We had stayed at this hotel in 2016 on a family vacation. At the time, I thought the room was fair. Our other family members mentioned that they were less than impressed. But we decided to give it another try July 2017. When we got to our room, we noticed a strong smoke smell so I asked for another room. The second room smelled musty/moldy, so I asked to see a third. Great, no terrible smell but the air conditioner made a "whomp, whomp, whomp" sound. So we decided not to stay.

Room was clean, everything worked, shower clean. Had pizza when I checked in at 4 pm. Wi-Fi worked well Bed was good. Slept well. Breakfast was free and decent. I am now using up my 200 characters, Just a few more to go. Ahhh, I think this will do it.

Just your average hotel with nothing over the top. Room could have been cleaner and they could have better upkeep. If you need a fair room for a fair price not bad. Breakfast was average. Watch the tile around the pool, extremely slick. They could have used a better surface so people wouldn't almost fall by just walking.

This Best Western was clean and comfortable. Nice Hot Breakfast, Pool and Hot tub were a nice addition. Everyone was friendly and rate reasonable. Even got the room with the Jacuzzi next to the bed for only a few dollars more. Great deal. Will stay there again.

Staff was friendly upon check-in. We chose to stay here for their "Presidential Suite" which had a separate bedroom with Jacuzzi. The room was spacious and clean. My daughter loved the Jacuzzi. The T.V. remote in the living area wouldn't work unless it was pointed towards the far right side of the T.V., and even then it was spotty. The pool area was nice. We didn't get to enjoy it much, it was very busy. There were large amount of kids throwing a beach ball across the pool to someone in the hot tub, so obviously we couldn't enjoy the hot tub either. We weren't a fan of the design of the hut tub being so small and so close to the pool, but as far as people tossing the ball and not using the hot tub properly, that was by no fault of the hotel's. Our room was right next to the elevator as well as a door that was the entrance to the hallway. I will say there seemed to be a serious lack of soundproofing in this hotel. Every room we walked by we could hear their conversations, and in our room we could hear the elevator every time it was in use, and we could hear every single time someone opened the door to the hallway. Breakfast was okay. The staff was excellent at refilling all the items quickly. The selection was standard for a smaller hotel. Overall it was an average stay.

spent the night here, rooms were nice, staff that we interacted with were friendly. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel overall has a great appearance, it is clean and well kept, will stay here again. We have stayed here in the past when we attended columbus crew games, its location is very convenient for those games.

The bathroom has no counter tops and the shower is small with no water pressure. The room smelled horrible, beds were hard and we were put in a room we had to bend down to turn on the lights. We will not stay again.

Like the location... easy access to the interstate. Nicely decorated rooms, comfy bed, and good hot breakfast with eggs and meat. A hot tub is a must for us with our arthritis, and this one was nice & hot, as well as clean. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.

The breakfast , pool , hot tub and rooms were all very nice for a hotel in this class . Many restaurant choice close by . We will for sure stay here again if playing in Columbus , OH .

Everyone was friendly! Great location, decent size rooms. Breakfast needs improvements but there was a variety of food. Rooms had heavy smell of cigarette smoke. Would have requested a different room if the arrival time was not so late.

We chose this hotel for our baseball team while we were attending a baseball tournament. It was a great place to stay, and the location to Berliner Park was great. The breakfast was good quality and more than ample.

Rooms are very nice but costly if on a budget. Very clean and very personable personnel. Breakfast needs a lot of work . Overall I love this hotel. I have stayed here two years in a row for my anniversary because of the Jacuzzi tub suite. Not really sure why its called a suite but it is very cozy. I will plan on doing this again next year to make it a tradition to get away for a weekend. I just wish the price was a little more friendly for senior citizens.

located west of Columbus, just one hour from Dayton, just off I-70; near many restaurants, very convenient to I-70. Pleasant staff. Room is quiet, spacious, comfortable, clean. Breakfast is decent. Great value for the money. WiFi very good and easy to use. Only slight complaint is that room lighting is not to my liking for reading.

We previously stayed at this hotel and were happy to return. It's located is a good location just outside of Columbus with easy access to the main highways. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are Very comfortable and CLEAN! It was over all a great experience. I would not hesitate to make a reservation there again.

The beds were so comfortable and too. Was clean. The breakfast was good for a hotel biscuits and gravy scrambled eggs and waffles along with cereal etc. The front desk was always polite and answered our questions as we were not from the area.

When we arrived we were given a room with 2 double beds as requested. We walked into the room which smelled horribly like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. We were then given another room - king size bed, which didn't fit our needs since we have 4 in our family. We walked into the 2nd room which smelled not as strong like cigarettes but that mixed with a horrible musty smell. Even my 7 and 10 year old boys would complain each time we would come back to the room. There was long curly hair in the corner by the shower when we first got into the 2nd room also. The lobby and the rest of the hotel were ok and staff was friendly, however I would not stay here again.

This is an amazing Hotel. Clean, Large well appointed rooms. Large writing desk, sofa and coffee table for lounging Beds were very comfortable and I slept great! Bathroom was small, but very clean and well supplied (I forgot my shampoo!) Pool, Hot tub and spa area Beautiful, just the right temp Relaxing retreat after a long drive Breakfast: the French toast was horrible. The scrambled eggs were plastic VERY poor options for a gluten free diet.

A really decent place to stay overnight or for a few days like we did. Staff was super friendly and continuously went out of there way asking if everything was ok. Looking forward to my next stay here in 2018

We stopped here while traveling with family. We had a king suite for $94. Included refrigerator and sofa. Hotel and room was very nice, bed was comfortable. Tub appeared to be an older style but there was plenty of hot water and everything was very clean. Breakfast was included with room price.. Waffles, sausage, egg patty, sausage and Biscuits and muffins. Juice seemed to be watered down. Quiet place with walking distance to steak n shake and Denny's restaurant. Total bill came to $113 with taxes. They accept AARP and AAA discounts.

Room and hotel in general was sparkling clean. Comfortable foam mattress. Spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Pool area was very clean and did not have a strong chlorine odor. We had a party room across the hall but that isn't the hotels fault. They quieted down by 11.

It's a Best Western folks, not the Ritz. I've give it an 'excellent' for what it is, a budget option that is well maintained. No reason for anyone to be disappointed, as long as you know what you are paying for. A nice location close to I-70 with many food options.

Great location that offers plenty of places to shop and eat. The BW has been newly renovated and has really nice rooms, pool, and offers a variety of breakfast items. The staff are always great and my family and friends have been staying at this location for many, many years!

Good hotel with upgrades very modern attractive décor. Check in was friendly enough. Room was good but could use new mattress. Breakfast was same old quick fix foods with no taste but will get you by for a while.

The staff were friendly when we interacted with them. The breakfast choices were many - even a "to go" option on the weekdays. The pool and hot tub were clean and a nice temperature. Our room keys were an issue - too close to our cell phones a couple of times and when they were fixed at the front desk, they still didn't work. We just resorted to using the one that did work, which was fine. The bed was fine - not too soft, not too hard. I would say the hotel is dated - the bathroom counter, desk, lamps, tv/fridge/microwave stand, nightstands and paint(?) have been updated, but overall the hotel seems dated, maybe worn is a better word.

Location convenient just off thruway, in near a mall with selection of businesses. Room well appointed, clean, spacious. The breakfast was exceptional: not only the usual waffle and bagels, but hot sausage, fresh scrambled eggs, etc., well-served.

Not bad but could have been better for the amount paid. Bugs in the bathroom. Didn't report that my internet would not work because I worked all day and would only have a hour or two of relaxing. The pool and hot tub are close so don't go when there's kids or your relaxing soak will not be pleasant.

In town for a high school club soccer tournament. The accommodations were very good. Loved the size of the rooms. Breakfast area was very nice and large enough for lots of people. Staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel many times on business trips to Columbus. Never have I had a worse stay. The room smelled musty upon entering, the bed was barely made and the sheets not changed. Mold on the bottom hem of the shower curtain. I had wanted to use the hot tub but the manager would not open it for me as it was after the 10pm closing time.

I was debating which low price motel I wanted to use .I finally picked this motel and boy was I surprised. A motel that was clean,friendly,has great rooms and a good free wifi and breakfast.My wife was surprised with the comfort of the bed and the rooms layout.I will definitely use this place again when visiting Columbus Ohio.The front desk and staff were very courteous and welcoming. A real Nice Stay.

It was a bit hard to locate but well worth the search. X-Zavier at front desk was very pleasant & check-in was smooth. Lobby was orderly and clean. Elevator a bit small but good enough for luggage carrier. The room was immaculate , bed comfortable and we had 4 pillows, carpet clean.TV worked well. Bathroom was very clean , large , & had plenty of hot water & pressure. Towels seemed new but a bit thin. Air unit was very cold , didn't try heat. The breakfast had nice selection.... busicuits/sausage gravy , sausage links , French toast , cereal, sweet stuff, bagels with toppings. And more! Quite a pleasant place to spend the night. Don't hesitate on this one!!

This is a great hotel. The decore is top notch. The loby was very high end. The breakfast was far superior to other hotels we have stayed in. Everything was super clean and looked nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This facility is at a convenient location, although getting out onto the street is a bit of a problem. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The room is above average. The breakfast is adequate and includes several hot items. I've stayed here before and would do so again.

Rooms were very spacious, clean and modern looking. This appears to be a newer hotel, so nothing is run down! convenient right off of I-70. Hotel staff was very pleasant to deal with as well. The only downfall during my stay was that the parking lot seems to be a little undersized and if you don't get a spot earlier in the day you may be parking out on the service road! There is a Country Inn right next door but it seems there parking lot is small as well and the two hotels might have some issues with customers parking in each others lots!

I don't think I'm ridiculously picky but but there are some red flags for me such as candy wrappers next to the bed that I found within 2 minutes of entering the room. But no one is perfect so not a deal breaker. The reason I won't return is the design of the bathroom. There was not a single spot to put cosmetics, hair appliances,etc, unless you place them on the toilet seat or the top of the water tank. In the shower (no tub) there was again no place to put soap, razor, shampoo and conditioner bottles or anything you might need except the floor of the shower. There was a seat in the area (wood). I thought this to be a very odd bathroom configuration so at checkout I asked the desk clerk if there were other rooms appointed differently. She told me that all of the rooms have that same " no vanity/shower only" design. Everything else about this hotel was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The The property was clean and attractively cared for. The breakfast area was large and the food selections were varied and tasty. Our room was also large and the decor was attractive. Our bed was quite comfy! It never occurred to me to inquire about bathroom design, but I guess I will now! Sorry, BW.

1 night stay for business, very nice property, looks newer or at least recently updated. My room had a couch and sitting area, mini-fridge and microwave, lots of TV channels to choose from, breakfast was good, lots of restaurants near by. I would recommend

Hotel was clean and nice. Had a very nice breakfast. Attendants were very polite and helpful. Appears to have undergone some remolding or is fairly new. The only negative would be that condo's or apartments are being constructed very close to this facility and when complete there will probably be a traffic nightmare unless other outlets are available.

Overall, the room was great. I had no problems with it. King bed with a pull out couch. Very spacious room. My girlfriend claimed the room smelled moldy to her. It did not affect our ability to sleep. I had no issues with the room.

We pulled very tired after driving 10 hours. The Staff was so helpful. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.The swimming pool and hot top were wonderful after being stuck in a car for so long. The person in charge of breakfast (I think her name was Tami) was extremely helpful when I told her I had Allergies. She graciously looked up ingredients and helped me make good choices. All in all, I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. It would have been nice to have been able to stay another day but we had an Itinerary we were following.

Nice hotel tucked between a lot on new apartment construction. Needed WAZE to actually find our way in. The lobby has been nicely redone, and perhaps some of the rooms. We had an accessible room - which we didn't need so i cannot comment on the amenities. The room had a small alcove with sofa, desk and desk chair. Also microwave and refrigerator. All nice extras. Breakfast here is very good - variety every day, and a notice board in front of the breakfast room noting the following day's specials. Very close to freeway - but getting onto the access road is tricky due to high traffic volume.

Stayed only one night as we were dropping our son off at Ohio State. The room was relatively large and was amazingly sound proof. We were close to a busy road but didn't suffer any road noise whatsoever. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise from the typical underwhelming offerings. They had fresh blueberries and raspberries, which I hadn't see at a hotel breakfast before. Finally, the price was quite reasonable. All in all a very good experience. Only reason for not giving it a 5 is the location, which is not by any means dangerous, but also not that attractive, not to mention the construction that was going on next door. But among the things they can control, this hotel does a very nice job.

Staff was very friendly , breakfast was very good the pool and the gym were a extra added bonus which the Red Roof Inn Plus doesn't have and the hotel was more than what I would spend but worth it in the long run . Will stay there next time on my visit to OSU .

Other than a reservation error on the corporate website that placed us in a handicap room we hand a pleasant and comfortable three day stay while visiting family. Easy access to the highway, plenty of dining in the immediate area. Beside the usual chain restaurants Columbus has excellent local food establishments. Note to travelers, our first experience with the new Best Western Logo and we never recognized the tall sign visible from the highway. Still used to the older version. Not sure that change was necessary but now we know. This hotel was far superior to our experience a few years ago at a BW Columbus north. I see by their ratings that hotel has not improved and is no long a BW plus.

I really enjoy staying at this hotel. the staff is great! I guess the only problem I had is that the Wi-Fi is not that great. But I've noticed most hotels have slow Wi-Fi. perhaps due to the amount of people that use it?

We were thrilled with our room in Columbus. We chose to stay at Best Western because we had stayed at a BW in another city during the winter and had been pleased. This was a good-sized room for an extended weekend stay with family, everything was clean and worked as it should. The pool was great. The breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold items and the attendant was helpful. In-room Wi-Fi worked with no problems.

Very nice rooms and clean !! The staff was very nice and help. Anyone in the area I would recommend you stay here. Lots of great places to eat near and lots of shopping just minutes away ! Easy to get to and back on the interstate from this motel. Make the call ahead to stay, they fill up fast because of the great location and all the great things around the area.

Nice place. Very clean. Extremely considerate staff. Love the cookies at night, and the above average continental breakfast. However, we should it was a wheelchair accessible room. We are happy they offer this, but we didn't need it. We would have preferred to have had the vanity in the bathroom and a place to put our shampoos in the shower. We obtained the reservation through the BW 800 #. They should know their stuff. The Hotel is great, but the 800 # is not. This is not our first issue with the 800 #.

We stayed here on our way home from visiting friends in Indiana. We arrived a bit early for normal check-in and called the front desk to see if our room was available. They were still cleaning rooms, but were able to find us a room that was ready. The room was very spacious, except the bathroom seems a bit cramped. As other reviewers have noted, our room seemed to have a bit of a musty smell - but it did seem to go away after a while. We enjoyed having the pool all to ourselves a couple times during our stay. The pool room was a bit too warm for me, but my family liked it. I found it a bit unusual that you had to ask for pool towels at the front desk and there was not a bathroom close to the pool - but not a major inconvenience. We were able to walk to Bob Evans for dinner. The Eddie Bauer Warehouse store is only about 5 minutes away, so my wife loved that. Breakfast was good with the usual assortment of items. Would stay here again on way through Columbus.

The location was nice and the lobby and breakfast area were nice, however,the rooms are in desperate need of attention. I am not one to complain but everyone in our group said that the rooms had a musky smell. I gave this place the benefit as the power had just been restored just prior to us getting there. The rooms had a musky smell, not sure if it was the carpets or the air conditioning but the smell was there our entire stay. Breakfast is ok but staff was very nice. We had a team cookout on the back patio and occupied the breakfast area and staff was more than accommodating. I would spend a little extra and stay somewhere else unless I heard from someone I know that the smell in the rooms has been eliminated.

Needed to stop by on our drive to Maryland. Got in late, so we were not there very long. The smell of the room upon walking in was musty. We ran the air to try and eliminate the odor. It sort of helped. Every once in awhile in the entry/bathroom there was a strong urine smell. The bed was comfy. The room was clean. The breakfast was okay. No issues with parking. The location was perfect for us.

The hotel was easy to get to, despite being in a large city. The hotel had been recently remodeled, was very nicely appointed. The elevator was a bit small for two people and a luggage cart. The room was large enough, two queen beds, and a lounge area, however, the bathroom was very small. The doorway was narrower than usual, and having the only mirror in the bathroom made it cramped for two to get ready in the morning. The A/C unit was working - however, the room always had a musty smell, it never seemed to dispel the humidity, and the carpet always felt a bit damp. The night check in staff was not helpful in honoring our request for a first floor room - despite the reservation being made in February. Further talk with the morning manager did clear up the mistake. The breakfast area was very clean, items presented nicely and staff very friendly.

This hotel was a great find on a recent family road trip. The hotel is all suites so each room has a pull out sofa bed in addition to the beds in the room. Our room comfortably slept our family. It was very roomy and comfortable. The hotel is currently being refurbished and is very nice in general. Our AC unit was somewhat loud and made the room feel very humid. Other than that, it was a very nice stay. The free breakfast was wonderful for the family. Waffles, French toast, hard boiled eggs, sausage, and even donuts. The coffee left a little to be desired. Would stay here again if we were in the area. Great value for the stay!

I enjoyed my stay here. everything was great. I signed up for the rewards and look forward to staying here and at other BW I&Ss in the future. That's all I have to say for now, but apparently I have to use 200 characters for my review. maybe this will be enough now. I RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.

Great Hotel, Friendly Staff, Great Rooms, Comfortable Beds, Clean Rooms, Great Location, A Good Morning Breakfast Meal, Great Value. We look forward to be staying at this hotel again next year for the Special Olympics State Games in Columbus.

The Best Western on Evans Way offers a good hot breakfast menu. It is easily accessible to everywhere in the city. The main drawback is how hard it is to exit onto a main street. I am told that this will improve with a stop light.

Starting with a phone call to see if they had a vacancy and If a discount coupon would be good to check out everything was perfect. First they guaranteed a room at the walk-in discount price 2 hours before we arrived. The young lady at the desk was one of the most pleasant hotel front desk personnel I have ever met , and this includes some of the finest major luxury chains. The recently refurbished room was spotless well decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast room was well stocked with a good choice of food and it was spotless. The interior corridors and lobby is tastefully decorated in grey and black. At this time the exterior is in the process of a total makeover to finish the transformation. By the way they were over 20% less and offered more than others at this rt70 location

Rooms were very clean although there was a "smokey" smell. Beds were comfortable. The AC did seem to have a hard time keeping our room cool. Breakfast was more than sufficient . Certainly okay for a few nights.

My company was driving thru to NY and this was our half way point. This hotel was amazing. The rooms were big and wonderfully clean. I loved the dinning area where you could have an actual sit down meal. The only thing I wish it had was a actual sitting area out side where the smokers could sit comfortable and not be right in front of the door.

Room was very nice however the day I was there the toaster didn't work and I didn't see any eggs or meat at the breakfast room. The potatoes were good. The staff was very nice. Would stay there again....

I booked this hotel for myself and two friends as we were going to the Rock on the Range festival at The Columbus Crew (MAPFRE) Stadium. The location is to the west of Columbus, and it took us 15-20 minutes to drive to the festival venue. For us that was ideal. The staff were friendly and able to offer up advice for places to eat that were local. I was also assisted with the treadmill in the small gymnasium when I was completely flummoxed by how to start it! All in all, the staff were more than happy to talk to you and help in any way. The bedrooms were of a good size, with a king size double in each room that we had. I found the bed to be 'just right' and had no problems sleeping. No external noise was noted, which was good given the proximity to I70. There was a wide selection of channels available on the flat screen tv, and the wifi was free, and with a good signal. The bathroom was a little dated and the water from the shower lacked a little in power, but it did the job! I didn't get the chance to use the swimming pool, but it was nice to know it was available if required. The gym is small, with one treadmill, one bike, and one cross trainer, along with some free weights (dumb bells). Nearby was a Steak n'Shake and a Bob Evans, as the hotel don't do evening meals. A little drive gives you access to most of the normal chain restaurants you find in the US (for us it was Olive Garden on the first night we were there). A Wal Mart is a 5-10 minute drive away - handy for stocking up on goodies (each room had a fridge and a microwave). We were very happy with this hotel as our venue for the five days we were in Columbus. If we return to the festival next year then I would happily book here again.

I enjoyed this hotel and for the money it was very reasonable. The breakfast was a bonus and I really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also really enjoyed the location of this hotel because it was close to the many amenities that I enjoy.

The convenient location of this Best Western Hotel. It was located very near the convention site. It was highly recommended to us by the Potter's House Church of God. The moderately price of the rooms and the attractiveness of the rooms as well as the overall appearance of this facility. The courteousness of the entire staff at the desk, the custodial crew, and the dining room attendants were all very friendly and helpful.. We will be planning on staying at this faciloity when we are in the Columbus area.. The convenient location of this facility to my conference site. The overall appearance of this facility, the price, the staff, the room appearance, the easiness to find parking, the food in the dining room, the staff who had oversight of the dining room.

Easy access to Columbus - difficult to get on main road from hotel. Hotel was receiving an exterior face lift. Breakfast room was really good and offered a great variety. Definitely would stay again. nice hotel.

So far, staying at Best Western has been very a pleasure.. The clerks and crew have been very versed on what they do. The room was very vice and clean. All in All the stop off was super. I feel that this review is very good and need no more to say.

My family stayed at this motel for a weekend getaway. It was about halfway between the zoo and the large antique store in Harmony which were our principal destinations. The property was clean and well maintained. The room was large and the beds comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fine. We would definitely stay here again.

Due to the Best Western rewards program I decided to try this Best Western rather than the Comfort Inn where I had stayed previously. I found it to be clean, comfortable, and a reasonable value. I liked the little things like a free USA Today, 24 hr. coffee, and some snacks. The in-room refrigerator and microwave was nice. The breakfast was good. My only criticism was that there was a sofa bed for seating, but not a comfortable chair to sit and watch TV.

This property is clean and well-managed. Attention to detail was seen in every aspect of our stay here. From thorough check-in—resulting in an emailed PDF receipt—to the brilliance of a door isolating lobby/dining from our hallway, and an abnormally clean and quiet room, we were impressed. Great value with a level of perfection rarely seen in a mainstream hotel.

This was a wonderful motel. We loved it. Everyone was helpful and courteous. Our room was the best. I am always glad when we can stay at a motel that offers breakfast. We are now Best Western customers....forever.!

The hotel was clean, and the staff helpful. The pool was wonderful. We arrived late 9pm but still had time to enjoy a relaxing time in the pool and hot tub. Check in and check out was fast. The value for the money is well worth the time to stay here.

The lobby of the hotel was very presentable, also the area where breakfast is served. The public areas of the hotel (lobby, halls, public restroom) were very clean. I had just a few minor complaint. The room I stayed in could have been vacuumed a bit better and the mirror could have been cleaned a bit better. Also, there was no mattress cover under the sheet. Finally, my room was next to the stairs and elevator, so I was bothered by the noise.

Oh, the joy of returning to a trusted hotel! Happily we were able to return to the Best Western Suites on Evans Court in Columbus. We were greeted warmly and entered our roomy suite with gratitude after our drive. The room was again sparkling clean with lots of room to stretch out. The refrigerator was clean and cool, which meant all the fruit and cheese we had were kept fresh and delicious. The pool was warm and welcoming and the hot tub just hot enough to relax every sore muscle in my back after all that driving. Breakfast the next day had many healthy (and a few yummy ones- doughnut) the next day. Thank you for a wonderful evening and a good night's rest! Hope to return again!

very clean rooms, fitness area, and pool area. Was greeted friendly and offered towel to wipe bike off without having to ask. Was also offered to park bike under canopy. Very courteous to bikers with a excellent breakfast. Location was near interstate, easy to get to and was in quiet area.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean and I love that the hotel is a non-smoking room hotel!! The breakfast was very good and a variety for even the pickiest eaters. The hotel location is located in a good area for easy on and off highway and plenty of choices for restaurants and places to go with your children and close enough to downtown.

By far the best place and cleanest. Staff is just so friendly that they make you want to come back. Pool area was beautiful and spotless!! You get a great hot breakfast each and every morning. Had different food each morning. Internet was very helpful and the computer center in the lobby was easy to use.

room kind of dirty stains large on couch and carpet. bedskirt ripped and hanging off bed when we walked in. No parking left at 9pm. waited in fire lane as asked by front desk (10 mins) for 30 mins and gave up and went in to see what was going on. came down 1 hour before breakfast done and food was gone basically, the person cooking had been called up to clean something. top ten worst hotel stays i'm sorry to say.

We took a 2 night breather from the everyday and stayed at this Best Western. It was close to the highway and we were able to get to our attractions very easy. The kids and wife also loved the work out room and the heated pool. So many places advertise that it is heated and it never is. Thank you. Even the ambient temperature in the pool room was in the high 70's. The breakfasts were very good, too. We enjoyed our stay.

Check-in was smooth, friendly, and efficient. The room was clean...accept the poop in the toilet and the stains around the stool. This was probably a one-time issue, but it was enough to make us think twice about a re-book on our return trip through Columbus.

This hotel is awesome, the breakfasts were terrific, not the run of the mill bland breakfast. The staff was very friendly. I was only going to stay one night and was so relaxed I ended up staying for two. We had the pool all to ourselves for over 3 hours on a Saturday morning. The rooms are spacious and clean. The only draw back was the flowery smell of the carpet cleaning chemicals. This was the best weekend getaways I have had in a long time.

Filling breakfast but could be more organise ie the breakfast area.Only sore point is the visitor's attraction rack was at the far end of the lobby behind that's floor ice machine.Rooms was large and very comfortable..Not very close to downtown Columbus,however

The hotel was nice, but I had a group with 11 rooms for business and found a used condom in one room and bed bugs in 3 others. No refund or free stay was offered either and one of my employees had to go to the doctor, due to swelling from bed bug bites...

This place has the best staff. They are friendly and always willing to go out of their way to help when asked. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I had a great sleep. Great property to stay in! The workout room is clean and nicely setup. The washer and dryer works great if you need to wash anything during your stay. I have used it 3 times and have never had any of my clothes come out ruined...which happens quite often using public washers/dryers.

Nice place ample space in rooms, moderate breakfast. Good place to take family, easy access location. Breakfast could have been offered a little earlier on the weekend so we could get on the road faster. Maybe 6 a.m.-11 a.m, which also increases the hours.

This hotel is a very nice and new hotel. The breakfast was decent, and they offered free pizza as an evening snack. The exercise room was new with free weights and cardio equipment. I recommend this hotel for business or pleasure

I love this place evertime I come to Columbus this is the only hotel I book a stay at. They're always caring helpful the rooms are clean and the updates are awesome the beds are confortable. the sausauge was ok for breakfast. the pool was very clean and the people were very nice. I will always come stay here before looking into any other hotel.

this property offers a Great value. There are many restaurants and lots of shopping in the immediate area. The location is excellent, it is only a short drive to downtown Columbus, and by staying here you will avoid the higher prices associated with downtown columbus.

We have had very good luck lately with Best Wester Suites and the Evans Way Court Suites didn't let us down! The hotel was very, very clean, the staff were all helpful and accommodating, and the breakfast was as good as anything we've ever had at a Hampton or Fairfield Inn.. Since we were new to the Columbus area, we were unsure (even with our phone GPS's) on how to travel the easiest route to the Nationwide Arena. The hotel desk clerk (without a moments hesitation) printed us out directions to the Arena and a few other places we were interested in visiting. She also told us to try and arrive at the Arena BEFORE 4PM since rush hour gets pretty bad. (Traffic in Columbus is pretty intense without rush hour, so we appreciated that little tidbit). I think her name was Danielle, and she was very helpful and professional. Thank-you! If we ever travel back to Columbus, without hesitation this would be where we would book. Clean, clean, clean!

We rented a Suite with a king size bed. We were amazed on the cleanliest, comfort and, quietness of the room. Room size was more than enough for the two of us. Bathroom was comfortable. HDTV was an LG. Easy on/off of highway 70. Good morning breakfast (the becoming standard complimentary meal, scramble egg pucks, sausage, waffles, yogurt, etc.) Check in/out was easy and quick. Think the biggest thing that stands out is when we walked into the room we couldn't believe this was a Best Western hotel, the quality and comfort was up there with Marriot, Embassy Suite type of chains. Bargain value

Very quite! The bed was comfortable and the tub was very clean. The staff was super friendly! Hotel room was much bigger than I expected (Microwave and Fridge included) . This hotel has a FREE full size breakfast including BACON!!!

I stay at Best Westerns on a regular basis because I feel like they deliver high value for the price paid. This hotel was excellent for cost, could not ask for a better experience at a very fair price. Very clean and neat hotel. Very friendly staff. Great internet, good breakfast.

Spacious, clean and nicely decorated room. Comfy bed with lots of pillows. Great free breakfast. Really enjoyed the swimming pool and whirlpool. Very close to lots of fast food, restaurants and shopping choices. Easy to get to downtown Columbus. And their staff was great.

The room was tastefully decorated in neutral colors. The housekeeping staff kept the entire place very clean. Breakfast choices were well above average for a continental breakfast. Coffee station and fresh fruit were available evening and morning. Beds were very comfortable with enough pillows for everyone!

The is the nicest hotel I've stayed in for the price we paid, The pool area is clean, the whirlpool is something you have to check out, great after a day at work. Bathroom/room was clean, good sized and everything was as it should be. Water is very hot. The breakfast is very generous, but you have to get up a bit early for it, it only runs from 6-9am. They had eggs, potatoes, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, donuts, biscuits & gravy, bagels, muffins & more. There's a casino just down the road & plenty of eateries too! Very convenient! I've seen a few reviews for this place that said the room smelled like smoke, but ours did not.

Outstanding hotel and location is perfect for a trip to the casino nearby overnite. Great free hot breakfast in the morning. Not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle and traffic of Columbus. Loved it. Staff was very friendly also

Whenever we're in the area we stay at this hotel. It's always clean, quiet and well maintained. We almost never have any issues, but on that rare occasion, the staff is always very helpful and accommodating. We don't even look at other hotels anymore.

We were in town for a funeral, and needed last minute arrangements. Hotel is very convenient to many amenities. Checking in and out went flawless - very clean. In room internet worked well. We didn't have the opportunity for breakfast, but it seemed very clean, and would take advantage under other circumstances.

I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay. The room was immaculate and the staff was friendly and helpful. They were cleaning the hallways while we stayed there. I have never seen anyone cleaning the hallways before in any hotel I have stayed at.

Very nice stay. Clean room nice staff. Comfortable bed. The only thing I didn't like was the water pressure in the shower and lower end TP. It was easy off and on the interstate with access to many restaurants and shopping in the area. I would stay here again

From the front desk clerks to the breakfast room attendants--everyone was super friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. We didn't hear any noise coming from adjoining rooms---no showers running, toilets flushing, TV's blaring. Just quiet. Breakfast wasn't the usual cereal, bagels & english muffins. Those were there along with eggs, sausage, gravy & biscuits, waffles, donuts, yogurt, & fruit. I give the Best Western Suites two thumbs up!

stayed here overnite during the state playoffs. the place is very clean. front desk clerk was very friendly . check in was quick and easy. our room was big and very clean. bed was very comfortable and the sleeper sofa must have been too as my teenage son had no complaints. the breakfast was very good waffles ,scrambled eggs and bacon sausage gravy and biscuits. pool area was very clean and pool was bigger than most places. hot tub was just right. you need 2 towels just to dry off./ my only complaints are the bathroom door is not very wide, and the guest computers are right by the front door. everytime the doors open it gets very cold. could use a cubicle to block the cold air. this would not stop me from staying here again.just something minor.

Well kept, clean hotel. Recently remodeled hallways. Indoor pool is very modern and enjoyable for swimming. Good breakfast selection. for this class of hotel. Have stayed here the last 3 Thanksgiving weekends.

Very clean facility, nice staff. It would be nice if the Breakfast selections had fewer sugary items. Adding whole grain bread, peanut butter, and yogurts that don't have artificial sweeteners would be very welcome.

For the price, convenience and quality it was a very good choice. I will stay here again when in Columbus area for business or with family for a weekend at the Zoo. Staff was friendly and comfort of room was great. I felt it was a very safe area and when I am travelling alone that is important.

We traveled from Jacksonville Florida and stayed here for one night. The People were incredibly accommodating and very friendly. My room was ready ahead of time and check in was a breeze. The room was superb. Breakfast was fabulous and the girls very friendly and helpful. We will be coming back next year to stay for the Ohio State Michigan game. The location in reference to the stadium was great and the convenience to the restaurants was great. Definitely and awesome stay.

We had reservations for a room with 2 beds, but when we arrived to check in, we were told that another guest had not vacated our room, so we were being assigned to a room with a king bed. After 42 years of marriage, there are reasons we now choose to sleep in separate beds! Consequently, neither of us got a good night's sleep. The floor of the shower was too slippery for my husband to feel secure. There was only one electrical outlet available on each side of the bed....inadequate for my tablet and iphone which need to be beside the bed. To be fair, I must mention that the facilities were clean and in good working condition and the desk clerks were polite and professional. We did not take advantage of the spa tub in our room, the indoor pool, or the breakfast buffet. We travel to this area at least 6 times each year. This was our first and last stay at Best Western Suites.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while we took a training class in Columbus. We have no complaints. The entire hotel is very clean and the staff was very friendly. We needed a few more towels and they brought them to us without expecting anything. We even got a call to see if we found our room ok shortly after we arrived. Breakfast on the morning was ok and fresh. Seriously, we have no complaints. Will definitely stay here agin.

Arrived Saturday night for an overnight stay. Staff was super friendly. I was very surprised when they gave me a care package at time of check-in, Snacks and water. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast the next morning had a lot of choices. I used my points and stayed for free. They treated me as if I was paying full price anyway.

Great hotel with a good price! I believe it is newly renovated. It was very clean! The hotel is right off the highway, easy to find, and really quiet. The beds are soft and we slept great. Great breakfast with a large variety. We would stay here again!!

My husband and I just needed a break from the world and chose to stay at this hotel because of the spa tub. It was fantastic!! Large enough for 2 to relax. The water pressure and temp was fabulous. We will definitely return for another escape!

This is a friendly and clean hotel located not far from the highway and shopping centers. The rooms are clean they have an indoor pool and jim. i enjoied staying in it and if you are in Columbus I highly recommend staying in it. .

I absolutely loved this hotel! it is by far one of the best i have stayed in. People were great and the cleanliness was amazing. i really loved the decor of the lobby and my room. Wifi worked great and i loved the set up of the room as far as where the bed was and couch and desk. Great access to the highway from here as well.

The hotel was very clean, convenient, and a great value. The breakfast was quality food, the staff was very clean, friendly, and helpful, I would gladly stay at this location again if I am ever in the area.

Room was very nice, spacious and well prepared. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The free breakfast was as good as most any other hotel. Check-out was easily accomplished. The local taxes applied are exorbitant.

It is a nice and friendly quite clean hotel. the staff is kind, beds are comfortable, a very good internet service in the lobby and in the room. I suggest that lights in the corridor should be dimmed after 22:00h and sensors can be used when a visitor comes, light from the corder penetrates the room.

Our room was large and clean with a large bathroom and lots of counter space. The TV had lots of HD channels as well as free on demand shows and movies. A desk and chair with plugs nearby was included. The rooms and lobby area are well decorated. The bed was comfy for a quiet night's sleep. Breakfast was good (french toast was very good) with a good sized seating area. The bathroom door is only 24 inches wide which we thought was strange for a hotel. Some would definitely have trouble getting in and out. Excellent value for the price charged. There are 2 restaurants (Bob Evans and a Steak and Shakes) within walking distance.
