Best Western Grande River Inn & Suites

This is a great find in Clifton. The hotel update is very well done!! One of the best I've seen in many years of business travel. The rooms are nice, big, with comfortable beds and bedding. The courtyard is quiet and nice to set outside. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Hot tub/pool are really good. Breakfast is adequate. Price is reasonable. I definitely recommend this hotel and we'll stay here again.

Most Best Westerns are dog friendly with reasonable pet charges and that is what we liked about Clifton. If you are heading east you want to stay here to avoid any morning traffic. There is a nice pet area and open places to walk the dogs. Being a lap swimmer I really appreciated the indoor pool. It is a great way to unwind after a 600 plus mile drive. The lobby area is nicely decorated with interesting western motif, and the breakfast eggs were REALLY enhanced by the offering of green chile and cheese toppings. Good visit!

We stayed overnight at the Grande River Inn and Suites in Grand Junction. I actually thought I was booking a different hotel so I was a bit surprised when we got to the hotel address. This hotel is a bit dated but it was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. They had both bacon and sausage available but since it was Friday, we had bagels and waffles which were good. They had some of the best hotel coffee I have had in a long time. Staff was every helpful.

This hotel could not get any worse if they tried. Best Western is off my list of places to stay! Desk staff are very rude & unhelpful. Had to have the room keys connected multiple times. Cleaning staff knocked at our door to ask if we were leaving. Both my husband & I are in our late 60's, we were not causing any issues to justify the treatment we received. We did not appreciate the room next door where people were smoking right next to our door.

Warm and inviting. Room was clean and well lit. Good internet with lots of plug ins for everyone. Nice pool area with a hot tub. The breakfast is awesome!! The provided soaps and lotions smell so good and moisturizing. My Kids have sensitive skin and also loved the soap.

we stayed at 3 different B.Ws during our trip, and this was our favorite one..this location was so close to everything we needed in the area, we liked the indoor pool and hot tub (always a plus when traveling in the winter) the breakfasts were good, and the staff was amazing..if we travel that way again, we will definitely be back

We checked in super late at 1 am and the hotel was incredibly accommodating to this. Beds were super comfortable and rooms were easy to access. Will stay here again if we ever are finding a need in the area!

During a previous stay, we appreciated the quiet courtyard in the middle of the property, a surprisingly cool oasis at the end of a hot summer day. This time, the surprise was 3 inches of snow that brought our attention to the many restaurants and stores that were just a minute or two away. Although some prefer the big-box style of a Fairfield or Hampton Inn, it is these sometimes eclectic smaller properties, the always friendly staff, and the usually great locations that keep me coming back to Best Western whenever I can.

The carpet was disgusting, dirty and stained. Breakfast was also bad. Stayed at room 227. Not what we expected from a Best Western Hotel. Bed sheets didn't fit and felt rough. Poor lights in the room and Bradley placed lights over the sink. The staff was good but the hotel was not.

Clean, friendly service, good breakfast, quiet room in the courtyard with a secure place for our bicycles. Close to downtown Palisade with many dining options and wineries and farms. Would stay here again. It was pricey as it was the Wine Fest weekend and they use surge pricing. I do think that at other times the price is more reasonable.

Awesome woman working the front desk when I checked in late in the eve. I left quickly in the morning and forgot my iPad Pro in my hotel room, along with a charging cable and mini cell charging battery. When I contacted the hotel they took zero responsibility for my items. As they weren't logged in the lost and found records, it's like it didn't happen. So someone on staff is a thief. My bad for forgetting them. My karma take care of the rest.

I was threatened to have my vehicle towed from the property and the check in clerk refused to give me a room key. This was over her demand for a license plate number which I did not know, and she then belittled me for not having a photo of my license plate on my phone for reference. This person should be making up the beds not checking people in.

Not expecting much at a roadside motel for the night, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel very clean and the staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was your standard fair, but it was hot and the coffee was great.

This stay was evocative of why we went to this brand whenever available. The staff was exceptionally professional and courteous. The grounds were impeccably maintained as were the rooms—attractive and pleasing in all aspects. Our suite was pleasantly appointed and the bed and bedding conducive to a great night's rest. This was truly a five-star stay and highly commended.

The staff was very personable. The facility is in good condition and the amenities of the property are great. The room has a refrigerator and microwave which is very handy to left-overs from eating out. The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is simple but has a great variety from cereal to hot sausages, and make-your-own fresh waffles. The syrup was even warm! It is those little things that say the staff cares about the guest experience.

Very nice place, clean rooms, great mattress. Good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was great, all in all a nice quiet place to visit and relax. Good value for money. Restaurants were within walking distance, it you could take the car for a very short drive

Just a little couple time away from the house and grandkids. No hassles, nice room, good amenities, peaceful and quiet. Comfortable and fun, safe and clean. Paid entirely with points due to extended work stays.

My husband and I were visiting friends in Palisade and, since we're Best Western Rewards members, we chose the Best Western Grande River for our stay. It's an older hotel but certainly not outdated; it appears to be a renovated motor court with two floors of inner rooms surrounding an unroofed courtyard and outer rooms opening directly onto the parking lots. It has charming western décor with a fireplace and exposed rafters in the lobby, and comfortable furniture with wooden accents in the rooms. The property has been maintained and everything is in good working order. The rooms are adequately spacious without being overly large, with space for a king-size bed, desk, bureau, wardrobe and armchair. There was a large vanity area, and our room had a walk-in shower with no bathtub. There is a pool and fitness room, as well as ice machines and vending machines within the building. They offer the traditional full hot breakfast buffet, with eggs, breakfast meats, breads, cereals, yogurts, fruit, and make-your-own waffles in addition to juices, milk, coffee and tea. Little touches elevated the meal: since it was October, they offered pumpkin spice waffle batter in addition to the traditional blend. And there was green chili sauce for topping the eggs, in the best Western cuisine fashion. It is in a good location on the I-70 Business Loop with easy access to I-70. The parking lot and surrounding environs were well-lit, and we felt quite safe. There is no restaurant attached to the hotel but several fast-food options within walking distance. There's a grocery store close by (just down the street). The front desk and breakfast room staff were all friendly. Special thanks to Samantha in reservations who was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful with all my questions! Also a huge thank-you to Sammy at the front desk who checked us in and was SO patient with all my many questions regarding the room and hotel. Note to pet owners: there is the usual pet fee as well as an agreement to sign regarding care of pets while staying in the hotel. All pet-friendly rooms are rooms with exterior doors to the parking lots rather than ones opening onto the inner courtyard. We had a good stay at the Best Western Grande River and thought it was an excellent place for a short stay during our visit in the Grand Mesa area.

The room was clean, the staff were extremely helpful, the food was good. Have stayed there before and plan on doing so at least twice in the next 9 months. Bringing my family with me in June. A little pricey but well worth it.

I was traveling for business and found the rates to be reasonable for the area/season. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast options were really good and the staff was very pleasant and helpful.

This hotel was clean and well maintained. If you just need a place to sleep, it's OK. The courtyard was nice. But, there is just 1 small patch of grass for dogs. Absolutely no place to walk your dog, we had to drive to a park near the river to walk our dog. Also, they need to keep their political views out of the breakfast area, Newsmax was blaring at breakfast time, this alone will make me find another hotel next time I'm in the area.

We originally booked a place in Grand Junction and then I found this BW closer to the attractions we were there for. The price was cheaper than Grand Junction. When we first pulled up, I thought it was going to be a little sketchy, but it turned out to be clean, safe, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, Elissa at the front desk took care of us. Cute little courtyard. Breakfast was pretty much the same as any other hotel, but the morning we ate there they had build your own breakfast sandwich. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Stayed here twice on a July road trip. I literally stumbled across it when I saw a sign for it on I-70 going east. It was a little hard to access the first time, but I figured it out. The hotel is quiet and clean. The layout with the courtyard is very nice. Only warning: no elevator if that matters.

It was so nice to walk to and from our room through the lovely courtyard. We got some takeout and enjoyed it on the picnic tables there. The lobby was updated and our room was comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The breakfast offered hot choices, including waffles (and the waffle maker worked perfectly!), as well as cold choices. I almost never say a property is perfect, but for this level of accommodation, BW Grand River Inn is as close as it gets.

Take advantage of this well appointed location in Clifton and still be able to discover all that Grand Junction has to offer a stone's throw away. The staff here made recommendations that made our stay very enjoyable. The property is lovely, with an interior courtyard to enjoy breakfast al fresco.

WhenI booked online the price was $167.02.When I checked out it was $240.96.. Quite a discrepancy in price. We stayed in 1inCraig the night before &it was $175.82. Still a little high but we do like establishing WesternHotels. We won't be staying this one again because of price quoted & pricecharged.

Interesting art work in my room. Lot of families. Spa and pool are nice. The breakfast is amazing the best part. Comes with tortillas, green chili, eggs, bacon, sausage, and more. Dairy free milk option.

This place was very easy on the eyes. It's very cute with a set up of grassy enclosed patio garden settee- that was super cute and relaxing. The property was very well maintained and parking areas were lit up quite well. Breakfast - here was nothing short of amazing. Variety for all. Staff really does go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. There isn't anything I could find that was disappointing about this place. We've been staying at plenty of BW along the way from our family vacation from California to Missouri. But, this one takes the cake. Perfect 10+ for my family and I.

Stayed here for one night as part of a roadtrip. Room was spacious and bed really comfy. Staff were particularly helpful and welcoming, used the gym the equipment seemed new, although the cycling machine wasn't plugged in and there was no where to do this so it didn't work. Pool was quite big. Breakfast usual standard

We were traveling through going south to Durango the choice to stay here was a great decision. Quiet, clean, and great location. Highly recommend for an overnight stay. Best hotel in the Clifton Coloradoare

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The hotel had several amenities in the room. It was very clean and had a nice hot breakfast. The beds were so comfortable too. I am traveling across the country to relocate and I was grateful for this pet friendly hotel. Since she is an emotional support dog, they did not charge us which I greatly appreciated. They also have a 10p-7a quiet policy which was fantastic!

My family and I moved from NJ to NV and during the trip we had 3 hotels lined up. This was our last hotel booked for the trip and out of the three it was the best. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even asked how I was doing and sounded like they truely cared.

Stayed for Country Jam 2022 and value is decreased only do to the fact the hotel (as all properties) raise rates. This decreases the value of an otherwise great stay. Except for the rate manipulation, the hotel was clean and maintenance crews were constantly out repainting and re-paring and cleaning. The pool and hot tub were clean and well stocked with towels. Every employee said hello and was friendly and asked if we needed anything else. The breakfast was excellent and the food hot and staff attentive. This hotel as a courtyard that is secluded and private and you forget you are on a busy major road. Location is excellent although about 25 minute drive to the Festival location in Mack. Not an issue at all, really as we did other things. Will stay again providing it is still a Best Western in 2023.

I really like this facility. The decor was well done and looked freshly updated. The artwork (Western motif) was very nice and beautifully framed and displayed. The facility is being painted and looks fresh and clean. the room furniture looked new as well. The facility is quiet but just off of I-70 with many eating facilities close by (walking distance in many cases). The security door to get to the stairwell, courtyard, and second-floor outside hallways is a nice touch. The tables and chairs in the courtyard and second-floor hallway (corner) are a nice as well. I sat in the courtyard for an hour and caught some sun. All of the people I met their were helpful and friendly.

The room was very clean! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sent us to a great restaurant for dinner. The only complaint I had was the bed was not very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Very strong coffee. Good options. The green chili was amazing!

We stayed here passing through the area. Staff were very friendly, room was quiet, and breakfast was great. Nice to have a full hot breakfast after so many that could not have it, during Covid. The room was very large and very modern. All the rooms are in a quiet inner courtyard with trees, shrubs and flowers. Great quiet stay.

A person can always count on Best Western for the very best services! The rooms are almost 100% clean (I'm touchy with the dusting. . . ), the beds are comfortable, and the shower for those of us who're Disabled is the most useable yet!!

I stayed at this hotel the end of April 2022. It is a clean hotel and very nice people that work there. The breakfast is so good! The best breakfast at a hotel I ever had. The court yard is so peacefully and it is clean too. On a nice day you can eat your breakfast out there and hear the birds sing. I was outside at my car and I got to meet the owner when he drove up. A very nice man and glad to see he is hands on at his company. I will stay there again for sure.

I didn't use the fitness center not the pool area, but I heard other guests comment about how much they liked it. I enjoyed sitting in the courtyard. Several restaurants within walking distance. Vineyards or downtown 15mins away either direction.

Clean, very comfortable bed, friendly staff even if shorthanded. Very attentive when I spoke to anyone. Hot and cold breakfast offerings, not outstanding, but, something for everyone...watch out for the green chili....its VERY flavorful and spicy. Good groundskeeping, busy housekeeping, everyone very friendly, always.

No better choice for a clean room, comfortable bed, lovely courtyard, and good breakfast. I always try to stay here when traveling to Grand Junction due to their high standards of cleanliness and staff professionalism.

We were on our way home from visiting friends in California and decided to stop near Grand Junction. This Best Western is located about 6 miles from the Grand Junction airport and was a much more convenient stopping point than there. Had a very good dinner at a Chinese restaurant Chin Chin which was about a block west of the hotel. Decent breakfast at the hotel but not as lavished as at other Best Westerns. Still adequate as a starter for the day

We brought our sons dog with us a last minute decision. Upon arrival we got a dog room. This is always a concern as my husband is allergic to certain breeds. However we were pleasantly surprised on how clean the room was! It was conveniently located to the dog area which also was well maintained! Breakfast, another pleasant surprise with tasty coffee! The young lady that checked us in was so welcoming that it felt like home! We will be staying here again!

Our room was clean, no orders or smells from cleaning. The breakfast was good and hot. Everyone was really friendly and respectful. They set and hold expectations of guests to observe quiet time. The only downfall is the location. There is a residential area around the property that had barking dogs which could be heard in the rooms. The rooms are not very sound proof so there is environmental noise from the location. However, the traffic and neighbors are out of control of the Best Western.

Mikaela at the front was very pleasant! I believe we stayed in room 111, the jazuzzi was nice! The room had cute western decor and was very welcoming. The room and lobby was very clean and comfortable. We will be back!

Lovely Courtyard, clean rooms, hot tub to soak away the miles and green chili for the eggs in the morning, a very nice touch. Close to everything you want to discover in Grand Junction, & reasonably priced.

We stay here several times a year on our travels from Southern California to Denver. Grand River Inn is our convenient stopping spot. We can always rely on a clean comfortable room and friendly service. I only wish they used two-ply toilet paper and had larger, fluffier towels.

Clifton Colorado Best Western Motel is by far one of the nicest motels in the Grand Valley, could very well be the nicest in all of Western Colorado. Always clean and quiet. Close to convenience store. KFC is right next door.

Our room was very clean and the 10PM quiet was excellent. We had no idea such a nice place was in the town of Clifton. We plan to use this hotel again when we come back for more family events in the near furture.

we have stayed in this area many times.but this hotel room and amenities were worst...sorry. I am talking about prices as well. This hotel is very old,,, I understand they are trying to.... But We woke up footstep sounds from upstairs in the morning. Also we could hear toilet sounds from upstairs room....unfortunately. The ceiling is super dirty,needs clean up or paint.... Also we could not use Wi-Fi.the front desk person told us no need password, but it's needs password.... We are really disappointed in this hotel experience.

We stayed at this hotel many years ago when it was the Clifton Inn. This is a very nice hotel. Nicely maintained and remodeled. Very quiet and close to some good restaurants ( Starvin Arvins and Dos Hombres!). The staff was very helpful and friendly. Next time we are in town we will be staying again.

My husband and I traveled to Grand Junction CO to visit family. We always have a good experience at Best Western wherever we travel, and the Best Western Grande River Inn and Suites lived up to our expectations. We especially appreciated the cleanliness and safety focus of the hotel, as well at a lovely landscaped courtyard right outside our door. A peaceful place to relax in a very busy area of town. The staff is great!

This was a good stop. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was handy to local restaurants and we were able to walk to dinner. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. So all in all a good place to stay.

I was traveling with my dog and my large dog was allowed to stay with an extra fee. There is a potty place for dogs and keep in mind, you can't leave your dog alone in the room, which I wasn't planning on. If you're going to have breakfast, you'll have to make some sort of arrangement to pick up food without your dog. I brought my breakfast with me. The room has a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The room was clean and it's a very safe place. I did see someone throwing up in courtyard and it was cleaned. I woke up at around 3 am and couldn't get back to sleep, but that is just me. I did hear train horns starting around 4 am. I think if I was asleep, I wouldn't have heard the horns. I would probably stay here again.

Stayed here two nights recently. The good is the staff were pleasant, lobby was spacious and nicely decorated, rooms were a little dated but clean. The courtyard is nice alternative to a cramped breakfast seating area. Not so great was the location. We were given a room on the second floor away from the lobby (and closer to the adjacent trailer park) and advised to park around the side of the building and enter through a door requiring our room key to access the building. As I was unloading our bags, a woman who I can only describe as looking like a stereotypical prostitute opened the door to exit, took off one of her spike heel white sandals and wedged it into the door so it didn't lock her out (I'm guessing she wasn't actually a paying guest and did not have a room key), and ran toward a car in the parking lot, talked to some guy, and then came back to the door as we were entering, grabbed her shoe and got in the elevator. Okay... So we go to our room, drop our stuff, and decide to grab some dinner at the chinese food place that the check in person told us was walking distance away. Restaurant is a few blocks away in a shopping center with a massage parlor next door and lots of empty stores and sketchy people hanging around in the parking lot. There's also an abandoned restaurant/retail building between the hotel and shopping center that had a couple bums on the ground in front of the doors smoking weed with all their bags of stuff strewn around. We were originally going to dine at the restaurant, but since we had unfortunately walked instead of driving, chose to bring our meal back to the hotel rather than have to walk back in the dark. We personally didn't experience any problems, but I admit I was a little put off. It's a shame cause it's a good hotel with good staff.

Pros: Spacious feeling with the front lounge and meeting areas as well as the courtyard around which are about 38 rooms (some other rooms only face the parking lot). Big pool and nice whirlpool. Friendly and knowledgeable staff -- thank you, Mikhaela, for sending us to Agavero's for dinner! In addition our room was large and comfortable. My one concern -- and it's major -- is that we couldn't get the wifi to work in our room (we were furthest away from the front desk). The management apologized. I suggest that you mention the importance of working wifi when you book your room.

Hotel staff and owner would not correct reservation snafu. Even inflated rate on the actual reservation. Rude and offensive operation that has no problem stealing your money. Beware this desperation hotel!

You can definitely tell this is a bit of an older best western. The look isn't very modernized and the rooms could use a few updates but overall it was a great experience. Breakfast was well stocked and had quite a few options. Courtyard in the middle was a cute touch and the pool was clean and had long hours. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

This BW is clean. Good working order and a great hard working staff. The room are quiet. The beds are comfortable. The shower is high and had great hot water. We enjoyed the breakfast and selection. Easy from the main highway too. A good choice to stay on the road.

I was on an extended road trip. I look for Best Western. This one was a little different in that it had a very nice courtyard with tables close enough to the breakfast area you could eat outside. It was close to many restaurants

This is one of my favorite Best Westerns to stay at. Sandy and her staff are friendly and take pride in their jobs. We love the convenience of the location. You have a great view of Mount Garfield right outside the front door. It is always clean and comfortable. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Pleasant room with great wheelchair accesibility. Handicap ready with safety bars and wheelchair mobility space. We booked at the last minute and found a room. dvise all handicap travelrs to call first to verify availability.

This hotel is nothing fancy. It was also over priced for what you get. Air conditioner non existent. Room outdated and musty.Had a 25 gift card I got in mail for being a best Western member. A girl at front desk wouldn't honor it(don't think she how to enter it in system).Next time I'll spend the extra money for Holiday inn or Marriott.

We spent one night in Grand Junction, CO on our way to Arches National Park. It had a good location on a major thoroughfare and was close to dining, shopping and gas. Physical layout is a little different - built around an exterior courtyard with the reception and breakfast room area located in a separate building from the rooms. We had a king room that was clean and comfortable, with a courteous, friendly staff.

We always enjoy this hotel. It is clean, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean. I like the courtyard but it does amplify the noise when people are loud. I love the way they adapted breakfast. It made me feel like they were trying, even through co-vid, to meet people's needs. We opted not to have room service for our 3 day stay and small amenities were still offered but we had to ask for replacements such as additional cups, shampoo and conditioner, Kleenex, and an empty trash bin.

A really nice place to stay. Convenient to Palisades and its wineries, as well as the Colorado National Monument. Clean quiet rooms and one of the best showers ever at any hotel! Nice bath accessories. Friendly staff.

The whole visit was very the Property was nice. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The theme fit the location perfectly. Our kids really enjoyed there stay especially the hot tub and swimming pool. I felt very relaxed while here.

First this hotel is a little oasis in the middle of a busy city. They have a wonderful garden area surrounding the rooms. There are patio tables for just relaxing or eating breakfast. The rooms are a little dated but comfy beds,frig and everything you could need. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

I liked the layout of the rooms-around an outdoor seating area. It was a nice, quiet spot to enjoy being outside. Very clean rooms. Front desk was friendly. Easy to get to airport from here. Restaurants and other amenities close by.

The location was perfect. Close to the interstate, and close to shopping and restaurants. Not far from the airport or other attractions. The king room was perfect! The couch was a nice touch for an extra seating area.

The owner is rationing breakfast, so unless you have a childlike appetite, you should find another place. If you just want a place a sleep, you'll be fine. They have a nice courtyard in which to eat your child-sized breakfast.

This use to be a great place to stay, clean & friendly. It's still a good location if you need to stay in this area but the room wasn't very clean and the gentleman that checked us in was less than friendly and unapologetic about making me wait 5 minutes to check in when there wasn't anyone else in the lobby - came from outside and disappeared in the back and didn't say anything about the wait. Kids knocking on the door in the middle of the night. Beds aren't very comfortable. Just not a great place anymore.

One receptionist, on a sold out weekend, checking guests in as well as answering phones and making reservations. Took 40 minutes to even get to the front. Once I did she had to pause two times to answer the phone and make reservations. I left 2 older children in the car thinking it'd take 5-10 minutes, as usual at check in. It did not. Room was nice. Stain on the bed spread, otherwise clean. Pool area was really nice. Breakfast was awesome with many hot options including green chili. Breakfast staff was super awesome and friendly. Overall a nice stay. They need more staff for front desk help.

Sadly we can't say we enjoyed this BW at all. Arrived (with a reservation) at 10pm after a long drive, ready to relax and sleep. The ac machine's belt inside squealed so loud we couldn't sleep and by 3am we'd have been better just cutting our losses and leaving, but we were too tired to drive. Add to that the dude above us yelling holy hell at his wife or kids or someone, we could hear every word. Then 5am and the suitcases clattering around outside the room began. Unfortunately because the doors all face outward to the parking lot, guests clearly don't consider others. Cars being turned on on warm up and left with radios playing and no one in the car. We went out and asked for it to be turned out and got berated. The room was clean. We have stayed in LOTS of BW's. The night staff can't leave the desk for security, we get it, but this was just the worst night. Room was so hot without the ac on but couldn't have it on because of the squeal. Plugs on lights didn't work, not a major but annoying to discover the next morning with dead phones. Left at 10am,exhausted, was told a manager would call as no manager on site for the weekend. Haven't heard a word. We love leaving great reviews and supporting this chain but noise is a major problem, the staff agreed it's an ongoing issue they face.

This hotel is the CLEANEST I have ever stayed at in ALL of my years of travel overseas and local. I have a mental checklist of areas I inspect before even unpacking our luggage and seriously I could not identify one area of concern in our room. This Best Western was so undeniably impressive I felt so comfortable and happy to be there. We went to the pool 2 nights in a row and the pool was extremely well maintained as well as the hot tub. Tile clean, water clear, towels readily available. Even the trash can rims outside were clean. These employees take pride in this hotel and I am honored to have been their guest!! I had a favorite hotel in New Zealand but this is now my #1 place. Clifton's hidden jewel!!!

We stayed in 15 Best Westerns in the last month. This was one of 3 outstanding BW's. Staff were available and attentive. Hot Breakfast was served in cooperation with covid, having a masked and gloved person make and serve hot food and cold.

Beautiful courtyard. So many eating options nearby. Rooms were spacious and clean. Just a really nice experience. Would definitely stay here again. We did't use the pool or hot tub but they looked clean and inviting. Even some motel-type rooms available, where we stayed and could park right outside our door, which came in handy since my husband had a broken ankle.

We were headed down to Black Canyon at the Gunnison Natl Park and planned ahead to stop here. Enjoyed our room and the ice machine for our small beverage cooler. It was courtyard facing and there were tables, etc spread out to enjoy had the weather been a bit more cooperative. Breakfast was quick and easy and the service was excellent. It was a good value for the money and well located near a grocery store, gas and restaurants. I'd stay here again.

I was selecting Best Western Plus hotels as I travelled across country from So. California. All of them exceeded my expectations. From courteous staff to clean rooms, etc. This hotel was terrific making sure I had a 1st floor room for my dog. Highly recommend !

A very standard hotel room with bad wall art and a view of the Shell station and KFC out the window. The room was clean and the staff were pleasant but otherwise I can't think of any particular reason that I would stay here again.

Check in was a nice experience. The room was cleaned at, but there was still trash on the floor bed and bath area from the previous occupant. Other hotels we have stayed at the businesses have gone out of their way to clean and sanitize between guest. I felt the room was cleaned at but not cleaned. The walls are thin and you hear TV's and the other occupants around you.

The staff at this location is great. They listened to what we wanted to do and gave us sound advice on how to see these sites. The breakfast was not your "grab and go" that is used by most establishments now. It was a full blown meal. We had scrambled eggs, green chili sauce, eggs, sausage and tortillas provided in a carry out tray that we could eat in our room, outside on the patio or in the dining area where social distancing was used. The fruit and coffee were fresh, very enjoyable in these strange times.

We went to the western slope area for hiking and winery visits, and this hotel was ideally located for both. The staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were super clean. The mattress was also very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Perhaps the best amenity though was the super clean and nice hot tub and pool (available by reservation due to COVID). I would definitely stay here again!

We found the hotel quaint but very nicely appointed. Staff is outstanding. The inner courtyard was a hit with us - we could eat our safely served breakfast out in the open air. The staff was attentive when booking the room and after our stay there (follow up email). I was very impressed and would definitely book there again when driving I-70 across Colorado.

As soon as my partner and I walked into the lobby we knew it was a good choice. The decor is exceptional and the room was very clean. The full service breakfast made to order put the cherry on top. Very satisfied and I will be staying here again, even if it is out of the way on the next trip.

Location was great and close to wineries (our reason for visiting). Hotel was very clean and service was great. We stayed on the courtyard side which I recommend because it was very quiet and courtyard is lovely. Absolutely no issues and would certainly stay again.

I spent two nights here in July, 2020, and I'd gladly stay here again. The hotel's biggest strength is its employees. Every person I came in contact with tried really hard to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. I also appreciated how well maintained the hotel is. From the outside, it looks like a typical 1950s era motel, but it has a beautiful interior courtyard, My room had modern decor, and everything was immaculately clean. Although the hotel faces Business I-70, rooms are well enough insulated that road noise was not a problem. As others have said, the hotel also has quiet hours. The quiet room and comfortable bed enabled me to sleep soundly, even though I was very sore from a long day of hiking at Colorado National Monument. Due to Covid, the hotel has eliminated the serve yourself breakfast buffet, and hotel employees now ask you what you want for breakfast, then put your food on a tray. Although this creates a LOT more work for the staff, the staff was very nice about giving customers what they wanted for breakfast. Both nights, I ate at Dos Hermanos, a Mexican restaurant across the street from the hotel. My meals were terrific, and Dos Hermanos also makes very potent margaritas. You will not regret staying at this property if you are in Grand Junction.

It's centrally located to the area of Grand Junction I need to be in. Clean rooms, breakfast room great eat at it ever time. Staff Friendly & Professional. To busy to use hot tub or swimming pool however it was available by appointment with group, group of one me didn't want to keep groups a-bay. WIFI worked fine they ask guest to be quiet at night after 10:00pm that's nice. Pillows enough pillows, bed comfortable. Respectfully submitted

Clifton is a suburb of Grand Junction, so a little quieter. Facility is nice, enclosed but outdoor courtyard is a nice touch for dinner, relaxing in the evening, or enjoying morning coffee. Rooms are nice, clean, comfortable, staff courteous and helpful. A short distance off I-70, not far from where US50 hops off of 70, so easy access to Colorado NM, or the southerly route through Colorado past Black Canyon NM and others, or east on I-70 to Denver, ski areas, etc.

Front desk person was friendly. Room was clean. Beds were very nice. Price was a little high I felt for the town being so small this was the only hotel in the town. There is a lot of fast food places in the town to eat at.

Fantastic stay, wonderful crew, clean rooms and a great breakfast. Met the owners randomly as they approached me while I was about to get breakfast and they were so nice and talked to me about my job and made me feel welcome.

I picked this hotel because it looked nice, and had no inside corridors. In that sense it lived up to expectations. When I arrived I was pleased to see the steps they were taking to combat COVID19. The problem was the other guests...not respecting social distancing, not wearing masks, even one woman standing in front of the lobby, coughing. Hotels need to enforce rules for guests if they want people to feel comfortable traveling again.

The stay at the Best Western in Clifton, Colorado was great! Check in was a breeze, thanks to friendly staff members. My hotel room was very clean and stylish. Despite being on the I-70 business the hotel room was very quite.

I paid for a 2 night stay for a homeless woman and her 3 year old son who planned on sleeping in their car. The night in question, the temperature was expected to be in the teens. The front desk clerk knew all of this when I was paying for the room and when the woman and her child walked up, he treated them with such dignity and respect, my heart overflowed. He made sure that she could come and let him know if there was anything at all that she needed that night and made sure that she knew the name of the person who would be coming on after he left. It filled my heart with such warmth.

Clean convenient, comfortable, healthy breakfast options with fruit, oatmeal, eggs & sausage - right off I-70. Someone had stolen hairdryer from our room but staff were quick to find us one from storage

This is not your normal chain hotel. Check in was great. I had a few requests and Zachary was very accommodating. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was also very good. The extras I don't normally see were green chili and corn tortillas. I'll definitely stay here again.

we visit grand junction fairly often and always stay here. the service is always great, the rooms are clean, and it is close to family. the prices are also reasonable. they allow us to have our grandchildren join us for breakfast----extra family time!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at this Best Western hotel. it was close by to the highway with lots of options for shopping and a variety of places to eat. Very easy to get on the 70. The staff are exceptionally helpful and very nice! My room had lovely Western decor.

This property has an outdoors courtyard enclosed by the outer walls of the hotel that adds character. The location was great with easy access to the interstate as well as the main road through Clifton. It was just few minutes to Grand Junction. Multiple places to eat nearby and a gas station right next door.

We had been out tent camping for a week and needed to come into a town to re-supply. We stopped in at the Best Western in Clifton and it was awesome! Friendly front desk staff, veryhelpful. Room was clean and large, shower worked well. Used the laundry facility on site, clean and in working order. Breakfast offered a variety of food choices.

The staff were very pleasant. The room was very clean and neat. Easy check in and out. Breakfast was hot. I had driven 2,000 miles and stayed in numerous locations along my trip and this location was one of the top.

Best Western Grande River Inn is super close to Grand Junction, the airport, Mesa University and any highway need for sightseeing. It is an older style motor lodge with updated rooms that are big and comfy. OnSite laundry room, indoor swimming pool and fitness center may help folks on a long trip.

Hotel rooms were clean - nice rooms and staff. Nice pool and fitness room. Just didn't like the location because it was on a very busy street and could hear traffic through the windows. Be sure to ask for courtyard -facing room to avoid this issue.

We seen a lot of great sites in Colorado, took a lot of pictures and we traveled about 1150 miles in three days and the Best Western hotels are the best. the weather in October is so good and the fall leaves looked great too.

We've been to BW Grande River Inn & Suites several times in the past 10 years. The staff are very friendly and professional. The lobby and breakfast area is very nice and always very clean. There is a nice courtyard with umbrella tables where you can relax or have breakfast outside. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have the amenities that we like. They have an indoor pool and hot tub and weight room. All very clean with tables and chairs around the pool and tub with plenty of towels available. Coffee, tea, lemon water and snacks are always available in the lobby area. We highly recommend staying there if you are in or near Grand Junction, Colorado.

My son and I stayed here for his birthday. Very nice place to stay it was a family reunion for us. The staff was very nice. They went above and beyond to help us out. Very clean rooms, comfortable place to stay.

We stayed one night here. The rooms were updated and nice. Plenty of pillows. Clean rooms with nice bathrooms. Staff was superb! Great little hotel. Continental breakfast was a hit with our kids along with the pool.

This is a smaller hotel tucked away off the interstate in Clifton, halfway between Grand Junction and Palisade. Lots of food options nearby. Rooms were clean staff were friendly. The maintenance man was very nice, as well as Zachery who checked us in. Breakfast was typical, nothing special.

Lovely Decor, delightful courtyard, clean, comfy, nice hot breakfast, and very friendly staff!! We were exhausted after traveling over 1400 miles through several National Parks and sleeping in a rented RV! This was like landing in heaven, and such a lovely respite before moving on to our next adventure!

Rooms are clean, location is convenient, the staff is always friendly, even if you pass a maintenance person they say hello as if they know you and are glad you're home. I've been staying at this location for five years and it one of my favorites. On the rare occasion there is a hiccup, they are quick to fix it. This motel was recommended by my cousin who has stayed there previously. I found it very clean, well furbished, with a nice courtyard. Despite being on a busy road, it was very quiet and I slept great!

My husband and I visit Grand Junction frequently to see relatives, and we always stay here. The location is close to our family, but the service and the staff are what keep us coming back. The staff is friendly and helpful--some, like Sandy, remember us. The only complaint I might have would be the wifi connections are slow sometimes,but that is a minor problem. We just feel very comfortable when we stay here.

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at BW. Would come back to this location in heart beat. WE had a really good breakfast on both days. Staff prepared and opened breakfast early so we could enjoy by 5:15 am departure time. Much appreciated!

Friendly staff, clean room and quiet. Just what you want in a hotel close to the Interstate. Breakfast was above average. The only issue would be during inclement weather, as all the rooms open to the outdoors and not an internal hall.

Great hotel clean rooms and friendly staff. Not much to complain about except location although easy to get from the freeway the area is not the best. One good thing is access to freeway and distance to some great hiking in Palisade. Breakfast was descent and the beds are super comfy!

This room was smelly, I think it was a smoking room at one time. Beds are very uncomfortable. (OLD) Breakfast was good, except they were out of many things at 9:30am. The lobby was clean and front desk clerk was friendly.

This was a nice place for my family to stay near Grand Junction, CO. The property is well maintained and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. Most rooms open to a secure and tranquil courtyard. Our room and the entire property was very clean. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. It is within walking distance of all kinds of decent restaurant options. We would stay again.

This is my third stay at this facility and it still performs. Rooms are clean and comfy and the breakfast can be eating indoors or outdoors. About 5 miles away is a "Restaurant Row" with nearly all national chains. There are also 4 or 5 chain restaurants right across the street. Stay here, you won't be sorry.

This hotel is a great value in a safe area. There is small green courtyard in the center of the hotel. The hotel is older but well maintained and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is included and just average. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

This is one of the nicest motels we have stayed at. The room was attractive, the beds comfortable, the amenities in the bathroom were far beyond most hotels. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. The free breakfast buffet offered more items than we had seen at any other Best Western. It is a short distance from the interstate on a business loop. Most of the restaurants in the area are fast food, but there was a wonderful Italian restaurant across the street.

The hotel was very clean, welcoming and felt very safe. As a younger female traveler, it's always nice when I feel safe in a hotel. Rooms were quiet, very clean and the beds were comfortable. Definitely will stay again if the need arises.

The tiltle sums is up. Two double beds in a clean and comfortable room with good air con and and a hot shower was what we were looking for and this hotel ticked all the boxes. Good breakfast and friendly service convinced us to continue using these hotels on our road trip through Colorado. We were not disappointed. Good access to the highway and a quick drive to Palisade for the peach festival made this the ideal spot. Very good value for a family of 3 or 4.

This hotel was great, and includes an enclosed court yard. The amenities were nice and the room was excellent. The hotel is 2 blocks from a Starbucks and City Market grocery store & gas station. It is a quick 10 minute drive to Palisade, 5 minutes to I-70, or 15 minutes to downtown Grand Junction.

This is a very pleasant, updated older facility. It's in a great location, on "business" I-70 just off the main interstate. It's a few miles east of Grand Junction and perfect if you're headed south on HS 141 to Telluride, Ridgway, Delta or Ouray because the intersection is about 100 yards from the hotel. The hotel has a really lovely large interior courtyard with grass, trees, shrubs and table and chairs. And many of the rooms open onto the courtyard, so they are quiet. The bed was comfy, both soft and firmer pillow choices and good linens. Big bathroom and loads of hanging and drawer space. The breakfast room was on the small side and the breakfast choices certainly were acceptable, but nothing noteworthy. Good solid choice overall and if you're headed south (as we were) you get to miss Grand Junction!

Went for Labor Day weekend. Great location for the wine and peach route in Palisade. Great room and service. Will definitely be back in the future.Pool was nice and clean. Numerous 4 to 5 star rated local restaurants some within walking distance.

Other than a few maintenance issues on the property it was a nice clean place to rest after long hour on the road. Pretty basic breakfast but nice hot tub and comfortable beds. Good location to access Plisade or Grand Junction plus CO National Monument, Grand Mesa, and much more.

Stayed here on my return from a six-day backpacking/camping trip around Nevada and Utah. The room was clean, and the A/C worked perfectly; it was August. However, the WiFi was horrible. Absolutely horrible. Also, I've gotten about a half dozen emails asking me to take their survey. Cool it with the survey's people. It's annoying.

Great hotel with an excellent pool and hot tub. My children loved the pool and nice it had pool towels. Nice rooms. The beds were comfy. Nice free breakfast included. The hotel was clean and rooms open up to the outdoors which I liked.

Stopped on way home to Wyoming. We had appointment to go to orchard to buy peaches the next morning. The employee at the front desk was very nice and professional. Had issue with TV so he came right up to fix it.

Very nice room with a warm breakfast. We were on our way to a funeral and the last minute reservation was handled quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend when you are in the Grand Junction area.

the courtyard is a perfect place to relax after being on the road. you probably need it if you are coming from Denver due to all the construction. there's also great views of the mountains right outside the front door to the north.

Spent a lovely few days in this hotel which is conveniently located near the Grand Mesa and other scenic spots. The staff is outstanding, especially the lovely girls at the breakfast buffet. The beds are oh so nice after a long day of seeing the lavender and the lovely mountains. If you want downright homey with a great breakfast and scenic courtyard, this is the spot for you. Easy parking and that great all day coffee are wonderful extras.

After 10 hours of driving I was happy to be anywhere! This spot is clean and relatively quiet. Close to a few restaurants and accessible to I-70. Didn't eat the breakfast, but the lobby coffee wasn't terrible.

My room was dusty, had garbage underneath the bed. The carpet needs to be cleaned. The oatmeal and gravy wasn't heated. It should have been all correct for $150 for a weeknight. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet and the staff were friendly.

This Best Western has been thoroughly updated and brightened. New air conditioners, room updates, remodeled lobby, the works. Even has elevators! They've added a terrific courtyard (see photos), where many people ate breakfast outside. Breakfast was good (eggs, meats, waffles, etc.). Service was great, as the staff was friendly and eager to help. Staff is obviously proud of this place. Great place to stay if you're going to any of the numerous festivals held in Palisade, Colorado.

Happy with all aspects of my one night stay. Friendly and efficient check-in and out. Clean comfortable room. Urban location with plenty of restaurants to choose from and convenient Interstate access.

I stayed here because it was the closest hotel to where I needed to be. I was pleasantly surprised by the updates, including USB charging ports in the room, all the various toiletries, coffee, tea and cucumber water available all day in the lobby. As a vegan, I was able to find food for breakfast in the buffet (oatmeal and fresh fruit). Outdoor courtyard was a pleasant option to avoid the TV blasting in the breakfast room. The only negative was a loud humming noise that woke me around midnight and lasted most of the night. At first, I thought someone was revving their motorcycle in the next room, then I thought it might be a train going by, but it lasted too long. I was fortunate to be able to use my earplugs and shut the bathroom door to eventually fall back asleep.

My wife and I decided to stay here on our way to Las Vegas and this hotel was excellent. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. We paid a fair price here. Our room was big and spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were fresh and clean. The hotel is easily accessible from I-70 at Exit 37 via I-70 Business and US Route 6. And there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby for added convenience. We will definitely stay here again

I highly recommend the Best Western Grande River Inn & Suites for your stay in Grand Junction! I travel to this area of Colorado quite frequently and consistently enjoy my stay at this property. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, the staff truly focused on guest comfort, the amenities in good repair and available, and the breakfast that's provided really great. I'll definitely return again and again!

I had planned a trip to ride in Fruita and Palisade, but suffered a broken right leg two weeks before the trip. I called to see if I could receive a refund or credit and spoke to a man named Zachary. He said unless I could find someone else to use the room, I would just lose my money due to the cancellation policy. He mentioned I received a discounted rate through Hotels.com and there's nothing he could do and was unwilling to even allow me to speak with someone else due to the policy. I found someone to use the room and when she arrived, Zachary was VERY condescending and told her he would have to turn her away if she couldn't produce my photo ID and credit card used to purchase the room. In a full cast on my leg, I hobbled all over my house to try to find my wallet. The "potential" guest ended up finding my wallet in the car she drove and was finally allowed room access. Zachary was once again VERY condescending and she did receive her room key, but left in tears. The guest service employee at the front desk of a chain hotel made a paying guest cry. I work for a 10,000 employee company and have recommended we pull any arrangements with Best Western due to this one experience. You need to hire better help.

Nice staff, clean/large rooms, comfy bed and linens, indoor pool and jacuzzi, the gym is small and the belt on the treadmill slips (be careful if you use it), breakfast (eggs, sausage, pastries, muffins, cereal, juices, coffee), dining area is clean, vending machines on property, room w/frig & microwave, quiet but if you have a heavy walker upstairs-it's loud, elevator available, nearby stores, gas & places to eat.

I have been a Marriott Courtyard person for many years, I have switched to BW and could not be happier. The competitive cost and the quality are best in class. What a great Hotel. Great Staff and Great Amenities. A+

Nice hotel but a little musty. Bring your febreze or Lysol so that you can spirits it around and enjoy the beautiful courtyard. Our room did not have a closet but did have a wardrobe and that was ok. The Blow dryer and iron made life easier and the shower was great!. The night desk clerk was super great when our Grandkids wanted to come and swim. (nice pool and spa by the way) and got them some noodle floaties from the back, I thought that was really great.

breakfast left a bit to be desired but all in all it was ok . Sheets a bit small for mattress so did not want to stay in place. I expected a little bit better for the price. There is a beautiful courtyard between the rooms, however if people are there late in the evening you can hear them talking if A/C is not running. Pool looked beautiful however I did not use it. Towels and washcloths are thick and comfy with a nice big shower.

We stayed here two days while visiting the area and it was a great "base camp" for our exploring. Our room was a little larger than others we have occupied on this trip, the bed comfortable, and the TV was larger and "high def" (great for watching the hockey playoffs). Breakfast was good, with the option of eating in the breakfast area or the court yard. It is pet friendly, and while the doggie area was small it was always clean (thanks to responsible pet owners as well as the staff). They provided a treat bag for our dog when we checked in. Even being located on a busy street the property was quiet. My wife really enjoyed our stay here. The only disappointment was finding only a few electrical outlets for our devices. For food options KFC and the Shell station convenience store are next door, and Popeye's, and Taco Bell are across the busy street.

The motel room was nice and clean but nothing special. The night was quiet and we got a good rest. The only real complaint was that the breakfast offerings were a bit un-appetizing. The scrambled eggs were floating in water on the steam table for some reason so we didn't even try them.

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, pharmacy and park. Our stay was very satisfactory and the full hot breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. Hot fresh coffee is onsite 24 hours a day. The pool is clean and very large. We would stay here again.

The hotel was clean, relatively modern, and had a lovely breakfast. Great coffee and we appreciated the infused water and Chex Mix that was always available in the afternoons and evenings. The cable TV was hit or miss. Most channels did not come in clearly and had lots of digital static. This lead to us watching Cornhole Championships on ESPN2 one night because it was the only channel that came in clearly. Didn't know they had a championship for that, but it was oddly interesting! We didn't get housekeeping one night, which was unfortunate. By the time we got back to the hotel it was too late to get it and we had to get clean towels and more shampoo/conditioner from the front desk. The girl working the desk was nice, but never apologized for the error, which was disappointing. And no, we did not have our Do Not Disturb sign out, nor did we select the No Housekeeping option for 250 extra Best Western points. The hotel was a good value, but there are nicer areas of town.

enjoyed the room as it appears it was recently redone and is more modern the appearance of the hotel itself, not saying the exterior is bad just that the rooms are newer. The pool and spa were in excellent condition, current and very clean. Not impressed with the breakfast or the in-room coffee

For once, I don't even have any suggestions on improving this place. Always very comfortable, pleasing stay. Best Western has really stepped up their "game" in the last couple years & this place is a prime example!

I will only stay here when I visit family in a Grand Jct., Colorado. Easily accessible, beautiful rooms and great breakfast. Bring your bathing suit, indoor pool is wonderful. Friendly staff and very clean.

I stayed at the Marriott one week prior at the other end of town. It had great security in the hotel and parking area. No walk outside to get to the pool and spa. Modern and spacious rooms, bigger pillows, better towels and great staff. My review was 5 star and I paid $28 a night less for the exact same room request. Though the staff at BW was awesome in every way. The area is very rough, the hotel style is very 80s, and it is a cold walk too and from the pool and spa area. I would not reccomend this place to anyone traveling on a motorcycle or open atv trailer. If it can't be taken in the room don't leave it in the car. I whitnessed several events in the parking area that kept me up all night worried about my Harley.

On a very recent cross country trip we took we stayed in several Best Western hotels . I believe this was the nicest location. We had excellent treatment and had a very comfortable stay. What I love about Best Western is the fact that you will always have a comfortable bed !!

This property is fairly easy to get to but you need to be prepared to keep your eyes open. There is a bit of a twist at the entrance. Otherwise this was a great and quiet evening in a clean and well managed property. The staff was friendly and attentive and our stay was uneventful... that's a plus after about three weeks of travel. There was a restaurant across the Loop road but they got our order wrong and had not included any silverware (plastic or otherwise). That's a separate review however. I would liked to have tried the pool but did not get around to it. Overall this was a pleasant stay and breakfast got us out and back on the road easily.

I choose this hotel for a couple of reasons. Price, ability to gain points and past experiences with the Best Western brand. This hotel offers the same quality of stay as the fancier, more expensive hotels. The beds are comfy, which means I fall asleep earlier and get better rest. I also love the key entry system, easy with loaded arms! The staff was great and the property in excellent condition.

This hotel was a good place to stay. It is right off the highway so a bit more expensive but the staff is pleasant, amenities are good, and the room was clean and comfortable. The full hot breakfast makes it easy and quick to be up and on the way quickly in the morning and if staying in town they have a quiet courtyard and pool to help you relax and unwind after business meetings or visiting family and/or friends.

There was an attention to detail that surpassed my expectations. The hotel was quite clean and just overall quite nice. It was comparatively priced favorably. I will definitely consider staying there when I am in the Grand Junction area.

Being remodeled but still clean and nice. Staff was very professional; but friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options to choose from. Front lobby was decorated nicely. Nearby restaurants were easily gotten too

Great hotel in a nice area, plenty of restaurants in walking distance and far less crowded area then Grand Junction. The woman who checked us in could have been a little friendlier but she was efficient and quick. Room was clean and comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful about local eating establishments. One of our nicest facilities on the trip. Great bed with lots of pillows. Location was convenient and easy to find. Breakfast was very nice and well laid out.

We were in town for 3 nights as we attended the Tour of the Moon. This hotel was the most reasonably priced in area. Liked having our door open to parking lot as these type of hotels are few and far between. Good quality room and average breakfast.

Clean room and friendly staff. I enjoyed the breakfast both days. The location was perfect for our group and I wouldn't have any probelms recommending this hotel to others. Friendly staff is what stuck out the most to me.

To be honest this hotel does not look very special from the outside but looks are deseving. Not being a fan of outside entry I was skeptical but the way this hotel is cituated it is very nice and secure. We loved every minute of our stay. We just wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was exceptional.

Checked in late. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. The staff did not really monitor the hot tub/pool. There were quite a few ladies with alcohol out of control in the hot tub. The courtyard was very nice and relaxing to have the room open onto instead of a parking lot or hallway.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was polite and gave us a good dinner recommendation at a restaurant nearby. On the down side the breakfast, sausage and eggs, was barely warm, the gravy was actually cold. The WiFi in our room was spotty. We had to constantly reconnect for only a few minutes of use.

Overall hotel is nice. Seems a lot of work has been done to the interior and exterior. Area in the middle is nice to sit and enjoy a snack. However, beds are extremely uncomfortable and hot breakfast needs attention. Bacon and sausage are low quality. Coffee is unsatisfactory.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Grande River Inn & Suites for the weekend of the Palisade Peach Festival. I was most impressed with the friendliness, cleanliness, and comfort of the hotel. Our king-size bed was the most comfortable that I've stayed in for years with plenty of pillows. The room, courtyard, pool, ... everything ... was clean and immaculate! Breakfast was nice and was constantly kept up with food and beverages. Sherise manned the breakfast buffet and did a diligent job at keeping hot food stocked and meeting the guests needs for breakfast. The folks a the front desk (Elissa, Sandy Zachary, and Tammy) were so helpful in answering our questions and ensuring our stay was a good one. All in all, our stay at the BW Grande River was a fantastic experience at a great price. We plan on making this our stay for anytime we are in the Grand Junction area and for the next time we come out for the Peach Festival or Wine Festival. Thank you to the team!

This place is very clean and modern. Large rooms, great internet. They have an awesome court yard where you can set an enjoy a nice day or evening, the pool and hot tub are like brand new. The breakfast which is free, is so much better then any hotel chain breakfast. fresh with item you just don't see on a free breakfast. Best part is the staff. Very helpful from check in to checkout. Even the person working breakfast was smiling and making sure everyone was happy and items were fresh and hot. Can not recommend this place enough!

We stayed here August 1. We were treated exceptionally well when we checked in. As our BW Reward status had gone up we were given a room upgrade which was nice. The room was comfortable and clean. We will stay here again in the future.

The room was very dusty and debris on top of the wardrobe. I was expecting a cleaner room based on paying a higher dollar for the room. I would have thought that Best Western would be better than this. We stayed at much lower cost hotel later that was a cleaner hotel and better organized room.

Very helpful staff. Best Western a bit hard to find and directions posted helped. Two story and inside court. I was given an outside room that was easy for me to use. Ice was in room in the center of the motel and staff had to tell me where to find it. Which they did.

I booked a room for an overnight stay at this hotel because of my positive experiences at other Best Western locations. I was not disappointed in my choice, as the hotel was very clean, the southwestern decor very up to date and the staff was extremely helpful and outgoing The breakfast was very good, with solid choices for any appetite. Overall I would provide a big thumbs up and recommend this location to everyone

It was alright, off the freeway we were on the way to Moab and decided to stay here thought we would get a good deal, price was higher than was expected but we didn't feel like going anywhere else so we stayed, breakfast ends at 9.00AM so you better be a early riser or you will miss it! We ended up at Dennys down the street, one of the reason we stay at BW is breakfast, at least that off sets some of the cost of the room, and the toliet seat did not fit, lol it was smaller than the toilet! Rest of room was okay, was on the second floor in the corner no kids jumping around over head and yes they had a elevator. checking in was easy and quick.

On my way to Colorado Springs and this was a great halfway stop. Had my grandson with us and he was into the pool as soon as we returned from dinner. The hotel is located on the east side of Grand Junction with easy access off the I-70. There is a varied selection of places to eat just across the street. Since my daughter has moved the Colorado Springs I will be making this my halfway place to stay coming and going.

Be aware there is no AC at this hotel, and the buildings are very old. There has been some updates, but the internal plumbing and pipes are exceptionally loud, not what you'd expect from a Best Western. The hallways were dark and dingy and there were no luggage carriers available, so if you stay on the second floor (not sure there was an elevator either) be aware as well. The grounds are lovely, and unfortunately our building, with our room on the ground floor had heavy old metal door in our room leading to the patio that was marked, "permanently locked" so we could not use or enjoy the patio off the room as some of the other rooms in other buildings are able to. The internet was spotty at best, and not useable. However, the grounds and location were wonderful. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.

An excellent Hotel, the rooms are arranged around a open space and providing the weather is suitable, it is pleasent to relax in this area. This Hotel is an extremely good example of the Best Western franchise, which appears to be successfully improving the overall experience of staying at their Hotels. Grand Junction is a good place to stay, en route from Denver to Las Vegas etc. Black Canyon National Park at the Gunnisons is well worth a visit

We have stayed at this motel several times and have always had a good experience. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Will stay again next time we are in the area. Would definitely recommend as a good place to stay.

Stayed here only one night but everything was great. The room was very spacious and quiet. The shower was fantastic. It had great pressure and the water was instant hot. There was a mini fridge and a microwave. The pool and hot tub area looked like it was just remodeled. The courtyard was a nice place to enjoy the complimentary breakfast which had many warm and cold options. Would stay here again.

A good, solid, safe, hotel. Close to the interstate, restaurants, gas stations. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is cooked by order which is nice, also many buffet style items. Access to the motel is easy and right off the interstate.

Staff was very helpful. Facility was clean, comfortable, and nice. We've stayed here a couple times, and would again. Indoor pool and jacuzzi, good breakfast (though the serving layout made it a bit congested), room clean and comfortable. There are ground floor rooms with direct access to the parking lot, second floor rooms that open onto a balcony that can only be accessed with a key, and both floors have rooms that open into a nice courtyard with native trees, tables and benches and such - a nice, quiet area to relax or enjoy your breakfast. Lots to see and do nearby.

Rooms are clean and staff was very friendly. The courtyard is very inviting and the location was convenient to everything. The lemon water in the reception area was very refreshing on a hot day. The staff was good at keeping the lemon water full. Enjoyed our stay.

The room was ok, carpet was very dirty. Beds were ok, bedding was ok, not the best. Carpet was filthy. It is a very loud location and the trucks on the road, even with ear plugs were still loud. There is an area for the dogs to use which is nice. We stay in a lot of best westerns because they are more dog friendly, but this one I wouldn't ever stay in again.

The location was easy to access (if you think about it), with restaurants close by. The property is one of the best Best Westerns I have stayed in and I've been in lots (a Diamond member for years) all across the country. I would put this in the top three I've visited. Food was excellent, courtyard was nice for early morning coffee, rooms were spacious and comfortable, and most important, the staff was professional and outstanding. The manager on duty has been at the location (when it was independent) for 21 years. Employees don't stay that long unless management is doing something right, and they are. I look forward to being in the Grand Junction/Clifton area again.

I chose the Grande River Best Western because it was so reasonably priced, but then was incredibly pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, the nice decor, and the extremely clean room! Such a great value!

This motel is an oasis after coming down out of the Rocky Mountains. I was trying to make it to Grand Junction but because I was tired of driving I stopped here. That was one of the best decisions I made on my trip.

Very nice hotel. very quite. Call ahead for rev. no problem getting room. Food was good. service was very good. nice town to visit also. we were on our way home from Vegas . where it was 116 . a little bit cooler here. Had a great trip. and we love BW hotels

Nice, well kept facility in a really easy to access location. Room was nice and the internet worked great. I especially liked our room in the courtyard area. Facility has elevator and stairs also conveniently located. Breakfast was good for this type of accommodation.

The staff were more than friendly and helpful. The rooms were decorated nice. The tub which was cast iron not plastic had nice tile work. The vanity was large and had bright lights. Breakfast was better that average with salsa & cheese for the eggs. Courtyard was nicely landscaped with table and chairs. We will stay there again with no hesitation when we are in that area again.

Best Western is always my first choice to stay when out of town. They are always clean. The breakfast is always good. Friendly staff that care about their customers. They always try to accommodate you as to your room needs are concerns. Not much else to say. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

My stay at the less western started with air conditioner not working. And who doesn't have the room cooled off in 90+ summertime. Finally talked the clerk into moving us, ask for new room key, sorry, you can't have keys to both rooms at once. I get ready to move, have to turn in original key to get new room key. Surprise, air conditioner is turned off. 3 hrs to cool room off. Never again.

This property was very nice, and we enjoyed our stay there for sure. Room was very clean, and the property has a cool layout with some pretty landscaping. Front desk staff (Debbie I think her name was) was extremely kind and pleasant to work with.

We really enjoyed our stay at Best Western. The hotel lobby was clean and updated. Snacks and cucumber water offered all day with coffee. Courtyard area was very well kept, as were the grounds around the perimeter. Beds were very comfortable. Showers were very updated with nice tile, floor to ceiling.

Nice clean rooms with friendly and helpful staff. Great location to get around town for a bite, just off the interstate. 2 floors, nice breakfast, indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Don't go to the KFC in the adjacent lot. Four of the couples in there that were ordering walked there from the hotel just like us, two rodered to stay and two of us ordered to go. We were all talking about walking over from the hotel and the girl failed to send us with plates, silverware, or napkins. But back to the BW - this was a good place just shy of the Utah border if your going to any of the National Parks.

This is one of the few places to stay at the east end of the Grand Valley. You are close to I-70 if you are travelling. You are close to Palisade for all the wineries and fruit but still in close vicinity to downtown Grand Junction. There is a lot of local fast food as well as several good Mexican restaurants in walking distance. And the Palisade/Grand Junction area had plenty of good places to eat. The rooms are nice and everything is very clean. Breakfast if bountiful! We have relative who also stay here and they really come for the breakfast! There is a nice pool area. I don't have anything bad to say about this place. Our family has been staying here for years - it just gets better. I will warn you that when summer festival season starts (especially Peach and Wine fests, it books up). So you might need to plan ahead for summer visits. The nice people on the phone will help you figure something out, if they can.

Excellent quality hotel at an economical price. Clean, airy, good lighting in room ( I like to read) , good pool & hot tub. Better than average breakfast. Close to a variety of restaurants. Nice little town to explore. Good staff. Could have softer pillows.

Clean, quiet room. Better than average breakfast buffet. Delicious selections, displayed in an appealing manner. The beds were super comfortable and GREAT sheets and bedding. I appreciated the additional, colorful throw! We keep our room cool at night and enjoy the additional weight of more bed covers. Our room for four nights/days was impeccably clean and neat. Congratulations to the cleaning staff for a job well done!

We really appreciated the quick check in as we were exhausted from driving. The staff was very friendly, the parking was convenient. There was an Excellent restaurant across street too, which we were able to walk to.

Check in was great, cleanliness of room was great. Although they have tried to upgrade the interior, the motel look and feel is inferior for what you pay. The pool and hot tub were great. I also liked how they served bacon and sausage at breakfast. I'm used to going to hotel breakfast and only having one choice of meat. The only real problem we had was when we asked Jody at the front desk if we could have a late check out. She acted like my question was about to end her world. I wish she had just acted a little more professional and not make me feel like was putting her out for asking. And after all her freaking out about it she granted our request anyway. So instead she could of just said yes, no problem instead of making it like we were ruining her day for asking. Later that day when we went to check out I tried using my best western travel reward cards from previous stays and I could only access one number rather than both card numbers. Jody acted like she had no clue what was going on. I think she just wanted me to use just one and be out of her hair. So instead of her offering to help me, I had to ask her if I could call them and try to get the number for her to apply. I eventually got the number and she applied it. One last inconvenience, there wasn't one time I approached the front desk that I didn't have to either ring the bell or wait a long time for someone to be available. I'm sure they were working on other things but I've never had that experience at a best western hotel in the past.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Best Western. Zachary at the front desk was very helpful to us and gave a great sightseeing suggestion for our way out of town toward Moab. Our room was very clean and comfy. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Was a nice Best Western and there are many places to eat within walking distance. The room we were in was very quiet and opened into a court yard. There is no smoking in the court yard which was great.

Very rarely can I rate a hotel almost perfect. The rooms are the cleanest I have ever seen at this price point. Everything is extremely well maintained and in good working order. You can tell there is an attention to detail - which is appreciated as a frequent traveler. The staff is fantastic - efficient and friendly. It's always nice to be remembered each time you come to stay. You won't be disappointed!

Nice rooms, love the courtyard, breakfast is very good, the staff is helpful and friendly. This is our go to place to stay in Grand Junction. The only reason we would stay elsewhere would be because they were full.

loved it there i would stay there again on my way threw there the pool ws great loved the hottub but could be turned down a little it was very hot so had to take time getting in it i liked the cose places to go and visit thank you for a clean room

This is a very nice reasonably priced place to stay. The entire staff is great. The property is very clean and well maintained. We arrived early and they were able to accomodate us without any problems.

stayed the night on our way to the Worldmark resort in Granby. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. There are a lot of food places and a super Walmart within a few miles of this place. Would recommend if you are passing through.

Nice place, nothing special about the accommodations (right off I-70!) that we noticed. Staff was friendly and free breakfast was good enough to get us on our way. Next time we're traveling this way, we will return to this facility.

Nothing particularly good or bad about this hotel. Staff was friendly but the facility is a very basic hotel. Next time I'm in the area I'd try 1 exit over in the newer area of hotels. The location is not particularly close to anything.

Spent three days here. Enjoyed the waffles for breakfast. The only criticism was the hot tub wasn't working as they were working on the pump. I was told the water was hot but no bubbles. The water was lukewarm at best and I came down with a UTI a few days later. I have no way of knowing if it was from the "hot tub" but I suspect that was the cause. But even with that, I give it 4 of 5 stars.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel with our large dog on our way to Estes Park, Colorado. We were in a downstairs room with a King size bed around the corner from the office. Our room was fairly quiet, clean and comfortable. The full breakfast was delicious and the outdoor seating worked perfect for us and our dog. Unfortunately, the pet friendly restaurants in this area are limited, so we went into Grand Junction, Colorado to eat. We enjoyed exploring Grand Junction and looking at the statues and art work around town. We also drove through the Colorado National Monument which has its own beauty. It does not compare to the Grand Canyon, but it is pretty. We would probably stay at this hotel again if in the area.

e've stayed ay a lot of hotels and usually buildings of stressed concrete construction are quiet. Not so here. A late checkin was given the room above us and we could hear every floor board squeak and pounding foot step. They checked in late and left early so not a good nights sleep. They facility is very nice and we plan on returning another time; except we will be asking for the second floor so someone else can put up with the noise.

Nice room. No complaints there, but on leaving and on the second floor, the elevator was out of service. I went down and reported this and was not offered any time frame for a fix or any offer of help with luggage. I am a 67 year old woman who has a disabled husband and so I lugged the luggage downstairs, and at least 3 staff members watched me struggle and no help offered. I managed, but felt unappreciated as a customer.

We stayed overnight. It's a new property and part of it was still under construction. the newness of it felt good - like anywhere new! The rooms were nice sized, with all amenities needed. If we'd stayed longer the microwave and refrigerator would have been cherished! The breakfast had GREAT options! Lovely lobby, friendly staff. Floors a little squeaky (we were on second floor) which I thought was odd for brand new construction. Adjoining rooms with our other party - convenient. Lovely little courtyard. The beds were AWESOME!

This hotel is by far one of the best Best Western hotels that I have stayed at. They were great with the kids, breakfast was hot and kept very fresh. The courtyard was a great place for the kids to run around.

We spent one night at this hotel in September, and found it to be very clean and comfortable. It sits in the small city of Clifton, which lies just east of Grand Junction, CO off of I-70. We got there pretty late in the afternoon, and were tired from our day of traveling, so we didn't get out and about beyond walking across the lot to the KFC next door to get us some supper. The KFC was a bit on the untidy side, and our chicken was a bit tough, but that's info for another review. The hotel was quiet and offered a small pet area not far from our room. There was also plenty of dog walking room around the facilities. We enjoyed a typical hotel breakfast in the front entry/atrium area the next morning, and hit the road for home. This hotel was quite nice and a good value for the price, and we would definitely choose it again in the future.

This facility is at an ideal location for visiting the many wineries and orchards in Palisade, Colorado. There is also a decent amount of shopping nearby, including restaurants. Unlike most two story motels, this one has an elevator and baggage carts. The room was clean, beds very comfortable, and the HVAC unit was easy to control, with various fan speeds available for cooling or heating. And, thank the gods, the HVAC unit stays OFF when not needed, and turns on automatically in a whisper-quiet mode when needed to cool or heat. The hot breakfast was typical and somewhat limited. We arrived glazed from driving through the Colorado mountains, but left in the morning with smiles on our faces. What more can one ask?

This Best Western is a little east of Grand Junction at the first exit to the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bright and worked well for a stop over. There was a nice breakfast provided near the lobby area. There's also an indoor pool and fitness area available. Very nice.

We were very happy with this Best Western Hotel: the room was clean and decor and furniture nice, great bed and fresh, clean bedding, friendly and helpful staff, . Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast fare with a little more variety than some. All in all a great place to stay!

The walls are a bit thin but the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a healthy selection which I really liked, not just sweets. I'm a strong coffee drinker and their coffee was good. The last positive was being able to fill my cup with not just water but a fruit infused water that was at the breakfast station. I would definitely recommend this for an overnight stop.

The reception was wonderful, breakfast was great. The maintenance staff was consistently busy, and our stay was flawless! The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. I was very pleased. They even had a shuttle to take us to the wine festival, it was wonderful. We ate dinner across the street, super great location.

Stayed one night weekend of the Peach Festival. Everything was great. Breakfast as expected for motel, some hot dishes and good variety of others. Staff very pleasant. Would sty here again. Our room was upstairs on the center courtyard. Easy access from I 70.

Overall was a very good experience and a nice stay. We were there to visit family living nearby and found the breakfast quite good and pool and hot tub very clean and pleasant to use. I also used the exercise room and found the equipment in working order and the temperature great for exercising. Our room was clean and pleasant and we made good use of the mini frig

Very clean and pleasing atmosphere . Pool was nice , staff was nice , though we didn't have to inquire for anything . Breakfast was fresh . Courtyard is very nice and relaxing , easy to enjoy a lunch or just to hang with others . Close to places to eat or shop . Room was neat and if you need any personal items like a toothbrush or razor , they have them available . Well lit parking and access to rooms . No problems with Wi-Fi and we enjoyed our stay , very very satisfied .

A great time at a great property! Everything was delightful! Loved the central courtyard and the smoke free atmosphere. Breakfast was top notch and the pool/hot tub experience was as good as any. Our 6th BW property in a two week vacation. As good as it gets! Very happy! Will stay here again!

The Best Western Grande River Inn and Suites in Clifton, CO was updated, clean, comfortable and provided great service. The breakfast was good and maintained. We had a group staying and I think everyone was pleased. Will return if I'm back in the area.

Nice clean and quiet hotel close to the vineyards in Palisade. Decent breakfast and updated hotel rooms. The staff was helpful and caring. If you are planning on touring the local vineyards, this is a good choice. The lobby was spacious and inviting.

We had booked in advance and turned up at the end of August in a huge rain/electric storm that had knocked out power lines and meant it was difficult to see the road very far in front of the car. So it was great to arrive and have a comfortable bed and a clean place to stay. We came back a week later and (coincidentally) had the same room. The weather (beginning of September) was really hot and we were able to take advantage of the being able to sit out in the lovely courtyard. The pool and hot tub here are open at 6a.m. so was able to have a relaxing soak and swim after longs drives.

Very nice inside. Courteous staff. Extremely clean. Quiet and comfortable. Nice outside table area and courtyard, too. The only complaint is all the construction going on in the area, but there is nothing they can do about that. We will stay there again.

Stayed here 2 nights, place is awesome. Very clean, bed comfortable with plenty of pillows, cold air conditioning, great water pressure. The breakfast was very good and there was plenty of it. All staff very polite, as an added bonus if you bypass cleaning if you stay 2 days or longer 250 points added to your rewards card!!! Win win!!!

Very clean and will use this hotel next time I am in grand junction for sure, Very Clean hotel, rooms pool area and appearance out side. I visit quit often to see my daughter and this was the first time here and I have found my hotel I will stay at after staying at many others in the area.

I have stayed in quite a few Best Westerns this year, and I have to say that this is one of the better ones. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The internal courtyard was a nice place to have breakfast and the front desk staff was the friendliest that I have ever encountered. The breakfast was also above par for this kind of hotel. I hihgly recommend this place.

We loved the courtyard. We sat outside for hours into the evening. This hotel had a great breakfast room. the free breakfast was bountiful. Just overall amazing for the price. I would stay here again and again. We toured the winery area and stayed in Clifton and so glad we did. Short drive to Colorado National Monument (going in the East Entrance).

We stayed here for two nights. The front desk was helpful answering our questions. Room was clean. We were able to enjoy a hot breakfast in the lovely courtyard. It is close to the freeway, so you can get where you need to go easily . My kids loved the pool.

The hotel itself was very good. Friendly check-in staff, clean rooms, fairly comfortable beds. Unfortunately the smoke detector battery failed at 3 am and started to chirp every few seconds. The desk clerk was unable to contact maintenance so he came up with a new battery and fixed it himself - very good service even though the process took over 45 minutes.

We booked this hotel on TripAdvisor recommendations. Great location for either Palisade (for Peach Festival) or Grand Junction for shopping and dining. Very friendly, helpful staff, immaculate rooms and public areas. Just overall a great, relaxing service. Lovely courtyard, quiet, perfect for early morning coffee and relaxation.

The hotel look nearly new, the room was beautiful and comfortable, The breakfast was large. They advertised full breakfast and that it was. The only part of the whole experience that was disturbing was the street construction right in front. Made finding the driveway in difficult late at night. This I'm sure is no fault of the hotel and is only temporary.

AAA - Very nice hotel, with clean rooms and grounds, great staff and in a beautiful location. My only complaint is the Internet is very slow and when travelers have to check weather for the next day's trip, it's very annoying not to be able to. It's also annoying for someone doing business on the road and cannot send or receive emails. Best Western has to update their Internet service, so that ll rooms are able to log on.

Enjoyed this hotel the best out of 14 hotels. The breakfast was great, appearance of the layout for dining pleasant. The room amenities were welcome. The refrigerator actually froze some items. I recommend this motel to anyone wanting a pleasant nights rest and a great start of the day.

The hotel was clean and okay overall, excepting the horrible beds. Not a small thing for travelers looking for a good bed. The worst part was the unaccommodating desk clerk. She wouldn't even try to change our room only because she had already assigned rooms to guests that hadn't even checked in yet. And the bang on the door at 8:30AM for housekeeping was real nice.

Overall a nice place, still for the location, so far away from Grand Junction, seems way too high priced, nice rooms, nice breakfast, have went here twice and accidentally came across the business center, maybe could be mentioned

Everything was exceptional except access is terrible; how it is accessed to main thoroughfare. The smokers sitting bench was on top of a sprinkler head, which is either idiotic or sadistic. I would stay here again otherwise

Hotel was easy access to interstate & restaurants & shopping. Clean rooms & property. Property has rooms opened to courtyard. Bed was very comfortable. Has an indoor pool & spa, but we didn't used it, but looked very nice and clean. Property was quite and had courtyard seating patio and chairs to enjoy.

We checked in and seen that it had a Washer & dryer on property but not listed on website. So we were able to get some laundry done. Room Had microwave and refrigerator. They had a Indoor pool. Kept losing wifi signal the second day that we were there. Very weak signal.

My wife and I had a one night stay in Clifton Colorado at the Best Western hotel. We enjoyed the time and found an excellent restaurant nearby for dinner. The location of the hotel is very good and overall, we had a good time and will stay there again if we get back to that area.

I needed to get a hotel for my stay in Clifton for Estate Business and saw your hotel on Expedia and liked it. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel which had excellent air conditioning, clean rooms, great staff and a very good breakfast. If I needed to stay in this area again I would book this hotel for its great service.

Previous experience with this hotel has been positive, but last stay left much to be desired, due to the check-in hostess lack of attentiveness. However, the check-out person cleared up the oversights satisfactorily

I made reservations at 3 different BW hotels on this trip, but for this one I tried to reserve two rooms. Then at the last minute a family emergency meant I wouldn't need the second room but I had somehow lost the printed out info and couldn't remember the specific hotel to cancel one room. The BW website was very confusing and it had not reserved the second room after all. That was fortunate in this case but it would have been big trouble if I had actually needed that second room and found out I hadn't reserved it as I thought. The hotel was excellent, and the website works fine for making routine reservations, but watch out if you do something non-standard. Probably best to call.

Stopped over on way top do Colorado National Monument drive. Great lobby & breakfast area. Food was above average. Room was clean with nice view of inner courtyard. Well appointed. Would definitely stay here again.

We drove from Omaha to San Diego and this was our first stop. We were so impressed with them that we stayed in Best Westerns the rest of the way out and back. I didn't hear any noise outside, the breakfast is a hot continental and the pool and hot tub were clean. The mountain in the background didn't hurt either.

This hotel is clean, comfortable and an excellent value. It is beautifully decorated. The furnishings are functional and attractive but not high end by any means. It appears to be a property that has been upgraded over the years and is current and modern. As hotel rates in Grand Junction tend to be at the upper end of the scale due to its location along I-70, I probably paid $20 to $30 more than I would normally expect but then I was there in July during the high travel season. I do recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was excellent.

We were just passing through, to visit with family and to visit the Colorado Monument. Location was ideal for us. Staff was fantastic and friendly. Room was perfect, for our needs. Unlike some locations, the parking lot seemed secure. Breakfast was very good.

This motel was excellent in service and comfort. The location was central to access all of our needs for a happy vacation. We will stay here again when traveling in the area. We enjoyed using the Jacuzzi after a day of sight seeing. The breakfast was good and the staff was excellent.

We have stayed at this location several times and it never disappoints. The first floor rooms allow easy access to vehicle since they face out to the parking area. It would be nice not to see CNN on breakfast room TV. Fox has much nigher ratings and would appeal to more travelers.

We stayed there in June, it was our last stop before we went home. Debby checked us in and I had asked her if I could use my points for a free night stay. She let me know I would have to talk to someone in morning. Room was good, breakfast was ok, no microwave that I could see. Upon checkout I think I spoke to Sandy about using my points. She told me I could not and gave me some information about using my points and some of it was not correct. Customer service is not what you say to a guest, but how you say it. Left a little disappointed.

We stayed for 4 days while visiting family. Excellent location close to I70 making things in Grand Junction very accessible. The hotel has a nice lobby area and courtyard. The breakfast setup is very nice also. The rooms are comfortable. The staff very helpful and courteous.

This Best Western location in Clifton Colorado is a mile off the I70 freeway. Convenient location on & off this freeway. Very well kept property with indoor pool. Breakfast area is very nice & good presentation.

This hotel is average at best when charging summer rates. We have been on a 3 week 12 state road trip and experienced other BW properties that were a much better value. It bugs me when a business can't keep their windows clean. Its a simple process with a few basic window cleaning tools and drop or two of soap. The flip security latch in the room was broken and the window would not latch. It takes just a bit more effort to make this property a better value.

Very large, comfortable room. Had a table with two chairs for gaming. Windows open to enjoy that Colorado air. Elevator available for 2nd floor rooms. Very pretty grounds with places to sit outside. Had a bad experience checking in though. There was one person behind the desk and another man with issues ahead of me. Most unfortunately, the one desk person persisted in taking calls and putting the people at the desk off. When I finally got to the desk to check in, she picked up another call and rather than asking that person to wait, made me wait while she worked on finding them a room, rate, etc. I was steaming! But, as I began, the facility is lovely.

We stopped here overnight on a road trip. Easy location off I-70. Loved the interior courtyard, pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was much better than average: bacon and sausage, eggs, biscuits, fresh fruit, citrus infused water as well as the usual cereals and breads. Front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Great value for the quality and price.

Outstanding customer service from every department beginning at the front desk, to the maintenance man, to the housekeeping crew. The room was very comfortable and spotless. The grounds were impeccably groomed. On the rare occasion someone threw litter on the grounds or spilled something on the sidewalk Jeremy was right there cleaning it up. The pool and hot tub area were kept in spectacular condition. The breakfast bar was even better than breakfast in bed at home, for one I didn't have to cook it, but more importantly it was always fresh and hot foods kept hot and cold foods kept cold. The cucumber/citrus infused water in the lobby was beyond refreshing and always kept filled and at the ready. The folks at the front desk were without a doubt the best customer service reps anyone could ever ask for. Housekeeping went above and beyond to keep us well supplied and tidy. Accessibly great--right off 70. Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. Lobby has real coffee (as opposed to in-room coffee) accessible by 6 a. m. --also breakfast by 6. Clean. Phone plug-ins by bed. Nice outdoor seating/garden area. Internet kept kicking me off, though.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the interstate, restaurants and the unique downtown area yet was very quiet at night. Our room was very clean. The breakfast even included bacon! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even encouraged us to bring our grandchildren whom we were visiting in Grand Junction to the pool. We will definitely make this our spot when we visit again.

I like to stop here on my way to and from Denver and St. George, Utah. Always a nice place to stay for me and my dog. I like the wineries nearby (Palisades) and enjoy stopping there on my way back and usually pick out a case of wine to take home with me. The pool and hot tub is very refreshing and relaxing after a long day of driving too. Always nice people working there too. Perfect.

Location was great, staff excellent especially night clerk and maintenance tech. Room was comfortable. Amenities were nice and easily accessible. Plenty of conveniences nearby restaurants, stores, gas stations. This will be my go to hotel for this area.

We had booked 2 rooms,The rooms were very nice and the beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was enjoyable and the motel was easy to find after a long day driving, we would recommend this motel to anybody who needed one in the area

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and our experience was very good. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the shower very nice. The interior courtyard with the trees, grass and birds was a very nice feature. We would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Although the motel doesn't look great from the outside it is surprisingly nice on the inside. good clean rooms, nicely decorated,with fridge and flatscreen TV. Good beds and matrasses. Finally a bathroom without the wel known and useless mostly slippery bath that you get in most motels, but a walk-in shower with tiles on the wal and lots of room even for tall persons like me ( I am 6 foot 9 ) . Good breakfast and a nice garden to sit and relax. Good indoor swimming pool and hottub. Go for rooms 101-111 .

We enjoyed our stay at your hotel. Great staff & clean rooms. Didn't have time to use Jacuzzi & pool but it looked very inviting. Breakfast was adequate. Nice having many choices for eating in surrounding restaurants in the area. We will stay again when we travel thru your area which we do a couple times a year.

I stayed here for two night. It is easy to find off the freeway. There are many stores, shops and restaurants nearby. Even though it is right off a busy road, the room was really quiet. The breakfast area was remarkable clean, and the food was hot. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. I stayed with my dog, and she received a nice treat bag. Loved the big shower and super fresh WHITE bed cover. The hotel was booked full during my stay, so book early.

We went on a couples trip to Palisade and although we booked months in advance, the only hotel in Palisade it was sold out. We booked at the Best Western which was so close to palisade that it didn't bother us one bit. The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast had a decent and variety. We were very pleased!

This is a great place to stay in Clifton, Colorado. The Best Western has very comfortable and clean rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful about the local area. We were visiting family, I ask if the kids could come over and swim which they let me have them visit. After swimming two hours we had pizza out in the plaza which was fun and won me points with the kids. Great breakfast with lots of selections. Clean and kept food well stocked. Had a great time and know the hotel I will chose on my next visit.

Mom & I were travelling to move back to AZ and this hotel went above and beyond the call of duty to help us. They worked hard at giving a room within walking distance since my mom has trouble walking long distance and they also helped us maneuver our van and trailer from the parking lot. The breakfast was great and the hot tub exceptional, it helped me relax after a long day's travel. Our room was very comfortable and the best sleep we had the entire trip and the room was located in the courtyard area, which is perfect for an outside sitting area with friends and family. The hotel is perfect for families because they have a swimming pool and the staff will make you feel right at home. It's located off the freeway about 2 miles and close to stores and restaurants.

We try to stay at BW hotels whenever possible. The staff are always friendly and the stay comfortable. This was no different. Everyone went out of their way to help us. The lobby and areas around the hotel were very nice. The breakfast was hot and there was a variety. We would recommend these hotels, and be sure to sign up for the rewards program.

My hotel experience at the Best Western in Grand Junction, Co. was very nice. All of the Hotel staff was pleasant and courteous. They went above and beyond to ensure a nice stay. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've experienced in my travels. Food area and eating area was spotless.

We stayed here on our way home from Grand Canyon. It was much more affordable than Moab Best Western. Our room faced the courtyard & I appreciated that feel vs facing the parking lot. The rooms were big & clean. The kids loved the pool & hot tub. The breakfast was good for a Best Western. They actually had oatmeal made in a crockpot vs just getting packets. They had a 4 mini waffle maker, which I appreciate with small children. I liked the brown sugar & raisins offered to go into the oatmeal. I liked that they had whole milk as an option. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we need a hotel in GJ.

The room was spacious and comfy. The motel was just off the interstate so we were back on the road early the next day. We called late in the day as our other plans failed and this motel took care of us.

I stayed one night to visit family in Grand Junction. I could not wait to arrive at the hotel after we checked in and left to go shopping. It looked so lovely. When we checked in, Judy at the front desk was a little rude. We had to ask how to get to Harbour Freight and Joe with maintenance was extremely helpful. Judy gave some advice and was polite. I asked how long they had been open and she said, rudely, about 40 yrs. The room was perfect. We stayed only one night, but complement to the housekeepers on doing such a great job on cleaning. The rooms have obviously been updated and they look wonderful! There was a crack in the sink, I reported it at check out and the lady, who was not wearing a name tag, but her operator name on the receipt says SANDY, said they are ordering one. Very polite. I used the hot tub after being up for almost 24 hours, and it was so relaxing. I love how you can sit on the sit without being in the tub or on the ground because it is elevated. Breakfast was okay. The biscuits and gravy were delicious, waffles as well, but the eggs are obviously fake. I would recommend using real eggs. They will definitely boost your reviews. I asked Ben how we have to check out and he was very polite and helpful. The beds were great. I didn't sleep well, but that was only because of the pillows. I use a more firm pillow, but other than that it was a wonderful stay. Lovely property!! I would recommend to anyone staying in the Grand Junction area!

great stay, perfect pleasent smart staff. clean, beautiful pool and gym, food and wouldd love to spend more time, this was a i70 snow emergency that saved my butt from a highway disaster. I did nto expect to stay, the storm approached aspen fast, i went online and in just a few clicks it was booked made it 8 miles and took a deep breath

We always stay at this hotel, the staff, service and location are great. The hotel, rooms and grounds are extremely maintained. The front desk staff, especially Elise got out of their way to make sure your stay is excellent. Can't say enough good things about this hotel.

We recently stayed at the BW Grande River Inn and Suites. The front staff are so nice, professional and accommodating. They went above and beyond for me because I had made an error when booking the hotel. They accommodated us at every turn! The room was clean, and spacious.

The hotel was in great shape.. I love the courtyard... The pool and hot tub were clean and towels were provided... Beds are very comfy and there are extra pillows which i love.. Breakfast was hot and yummy... I would stay here in again in heartbeat!

This is our third stay here - we use it when I visit my son in college. It's very clean, right off the highway, and has nice amenities. The breakfast is decent and the staff goes out of their way to help you.

This motel is easily accessible from the interstate, surrounded by several restaurants and nearby shopping. The staff was very accommodating. The pool and spa and courtyard area were very nice. The overall stay was hassle free and exactly what you would expect from a top end motel. Great family stay.

this was our 2nd time staying here, and it was just as enjoyable. this is a convenient place for us, as it is close to family, and has a pool and breakfast, and allows pets. hubby likes the internet connection, too. the staff is always friendly and knows what they are doing.

My wife and I have stayed at this motel several times, for us it is a very nice location and it is a great value. The breakfast is always well presented and fresh. I always figure the BW breakfast makes the value! This trip is the first time we tried the hot tub, clean comfortable and pleasant. We like the courtyard here as well

The Best Western Grande River Inn and Suites is located right off the I-70 Business loop, and it is close to restaurants, a grocery store and gas stations. Check-in was quick and seamless. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the first floor facing the courtyard (a nice place to sit – lots of tables and chairs for relaxing) and was very clean. The room was large and nicely furnished and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The table with the outlet on the leg was a great place to set up our laptop and the wifi was decent. The bathroom was large and the shower had good pressure. The included breakfast buffet had many choices including scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. We can't think of a negative and would definitely stay here again.

Like other BW's, this was a large room compared to other chains. Clean, comfortable and friendly service. Breakfast was the usual and my wife liked the fact that they had oatmeal. WIFI seemed a tad slow, but I'm used to lightning fast. I would have preferred a softer bed, but I would gladly stay again. Good value and great location for us.

This Hotel is in a great location ---close to the Interstate, food establishments, and parks. Staff very friendly & the hotel grounds very tidy. Nice indoor pool is available too. We think the value is very good.

King accessible requested and promised, but not delivered. Shower chair provided but handrails and shower did not meet minimum ADA requirements. Offered to put us in queen accessible room, but that was not what was we required.

Super quick check-in and out. Excellent room, clean with comfortable beds. Free Wi-Fi and good TV reception. Lovely central courtyard. Hot buffet breakfast included a variety of options. Side-hallway provided quick access to the parking lot.

Well done clean up. Staff is super. If you just need a place to stop over for a good nights sleep, it will do. As long as the neighbors are not noisy - rather thin walls. The beds are great. The room is very clean. The courtyard is also very nice.

clean, easy to find, new looking. Rooms very clean, nice décor. Pretty courtyard. Was too late for the breakfast, but what I saw looked good. Only problem was the vanity in our room was set at child height, very low to bend over to brush teeth, etc. I loved the bed, husband said his side was soft.

We showed up early with s passenger van and a trailer for a family get together. The people here were super nice and showed us a great place to park and even let us plug our trailer in. The 3 groups of family members we met here all stayed in rooms next to each other. The pool the breakfast and the coffee are superb !!

Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We were here three nights. The bed and pillows were very nice. The shower was very nice. All in all and very good experience and would highly recommend it.

The central courtyard makes this smallish hotel quite relaxing. The breakfast buffet is small, but of good quality, except for the sausage links. I would not recommend this location for business travelers as there were no electrical outlets anywhere near the desk. This made it rather inconvenient to set up shop and take care of my work.

We don't usually stay at a motel with exterior corridors, but out room opened out into an enclosed courtyard and that was o.k. The lobby was large and sunny and the breakfast was quite good. Would recommend.

We stayed there three days and explored the area Grand Mesa and the NP's the BW is relaxing and the courtyard is great. Tables to sit at and have a glass of wine and snacks. We will be back and stay with them again.

This Motel has great and friendly staff. They are all ready to help meet the needs of all patrons. The breakfast was a full continental breakfast with a little bit of everything. I really liked the miniature waffles.

The hotel is off a main highway, most of the rooms surround a court t yard. The court yard has nice tree and tables. Free breakfast was very good hot breakfast also yogurt and fruit. Rooms large, very comfortable staff friendly and helpful . Large heated pool that opens at 6am, heated nice hot tub.

We chose this hotel because Best Western's Web site offers an easy way to locate pet-friendly hotels in their chain. We were traveling with 2 medium-sized dogs and we were welcomed when I checked in with a goody bag of poop bags and Milk Bones--a nice touch after a long day in the car. The room was small but had enough room for the dogs to find a place to sleep without being underfoot. The design of this motel has every door opening to the outside, which is good for those of us traveling with dogs. The mattresses were good and the pillows, plentiful and soft. The towels were surprisingly soft too, within the metric of non-luxury-hotel towels. The noise from the water in the nearby room was rather loud, but not too bad. The television/cable was a bit of a mystery. A list of the channels available would have been helpful, since the "easy-to-sanitize" remote and/or the cable service itself didn't provide a guide. Several stations even had some sort of narration of action--perhaps a variation of closed-captioning for the blind?--that was pretty annoying for the sighted. (The person at the front desk she had never heard of such a thing and offered to have the maintenance person stop by; but my husband seemed to fix it by unplugging and replugging the cable--probably some kind of reboot.). The breakfast buffet was good, with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage links, hot biscuits, freshly made non-instant oatmeal. My only quibble would be that they only offered grape jelly rather than others like strawberry or blackberry jam. Just a minor point. For the dogs, it was an okay location. The pet area had nicely watered grass, although it was pretty small. And unlike other places we stayed on this trip, no park was within walking distance. However, we stumbled on a nice option for dinner, since we couldn't leave the dogs in the car (too hot) while we ate dinner and we couldn't/wouldn't leave them in the hotel room alone. We got a takeout pizza at Enzo's Pizza Shack, which was just across the street. (At the other end of the building from the Subway--thanks, TripAdvisor, for that #1 rating!) We then drove just a short way to the state park along the Colorado River and had a lovely picnic and a nice stretch of the legs for both humans and dogs alike on a post-prandial stroll between the river and the small lake.
