« Excellent facility with a great staff. »

We usually stay at Best Western facilities when they are available, and we have come to expect high quality at BW hotels. This facility was a great example of why we choose BW whenever we can. The facility itself was very good and the staff were both helpful and friendly. "Angeles," our hostess, made us feel right at home during the Evening Reception (snacks and beverages to take some of the chill off a very cold late afternoon). We enjoyed the homemade soup and hand-cut pico de gallo. The next morning the breakfast also we very good.

    5
    « Great place - fair price »

The perfect location to stop enroute to Arizona. Clean - quiet - nice rooms - near many good restaurants [a Sizzler on campus] Great full breakfast with the BEST homemade pico d'gallo and salsas ever!

    « Pleasantly Surprised »

The rooms were clean and had updated decor. A nice touch was the folded towels in the shape of creatures I love that they give SUU parents a discount. The breakfast was stellar. Lots of delicious choices. The staff everywhere was always nice and helpful.

    5
    « Always accommodating »

Got in with a reservation booked with points. Staff were great and even allowed me to upgrade the room and extend my stay with minimal issue. Room was clean and comfortable as usual. Stay here a lot because it's never been bad.

    3
    « Average »

Certainly no problems with this hotel, just not impressive, a bit dark, on the smaller side, and perhaps thin walls with room to room noise. But the beds were comfortable enough, front desk just fine, and breakfast was excellent, far better than Hampton. If expectations are tempered, the town and country does just fine.

    4
    « Good value »

I thought this hotel was a good value for the price. It is an older style motel but has been updated over the years. Our room was clean and updated. I thought the breakfast was better that average. There is an indoor pool which is always a hit with the kids. The prices were good and given the free breakfast, I thought this place was a very good value. There are some newer hotels in Cedar City if you want to pay a little more but I was happy with this place and would definitely stay here again.

    4
    « Great Spot »

Not too far off the highway, we stop here on our way to AZ. Nice rooms, adequate and clean gym, lovely breakfast, close to restaurants for dinner. Also lots of gas stations nearby. Will return time and again!

    « Callous, indifferent »

We arrived after midnight, they had no record of our reservation Thru Priceline even though we showed emails with confirmation and itinerary numbers. They wanted to charge our credit card, and insisted we could get our money back from Priceline. I refused to pay double, with no guarantees as to any refunds. We were exhausted, we had done everything correctly yet we stood there at the desk until 12:45 am before they allowed us to go to a room and resolve things in the morning. In the morning they had taken no action proactively to resolve the issue. We were on hold with Priceline, waiting for them to call the front desk. The front desk phone rang repeatedly but the two women ignored it. One turned to us and literally asked, " Do you want us to answer our phone?"

    « Very Nice »

Stayed here Nov. 5, 2016 and was not disappointed. Check in went okay but there was a sign on the counter that said 'Check-in 4pm'. Really? Website indicated 3pm. Professional staff with a smile on their faces. Even housekeeping staff said 'hello'. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of pillows. Our room had a large refrigerator which made it nice for the items we were traveling with. Breakfast was the real star. Very nice selection for breakfast. Coffee was good as well.

    4
« Nice bedroom in a nice area »

Very good service with a comfortable bedroom and and pleasant breakfast. The only thing to improve would be to put a lift in the building to avoid the stairs (not convenient for tourists with many luggage)

  • 4
« The country breakfast lifts this place from 3.5 to 4 star rating! »

As said: excellent breakfast! Great selection an choices, kept clean excellently and items are replenished in a swiff. Awesome! Having said that, the lobby is small but clean and inviting, the rooms are ok. Motel style property with two floors and rooms with frideg and microwave. Rooms are average in size and could do with a bit of modernization.

    4
    « Road Trip »

Reliable. Nothing fancy. Clean enough. Very little contact with staff, but check in was smooth. Nice touch was a phone call 10 minutes after arriving into our room. Just asking if everything was good.

    5
« Great cooks at the Best Western Cedar City! »

The room was great. Angeles, Chanel and Fabiola the breakfast cooks made the most fabulous burritos I've ever had. They also made amazing salsas to go with the burritos. Their efforts made the breakfast at this Best Western the best "Breakfast Included" breakfast hands down. Those girls are winners!

« Froze with no heat »

We stay at your hotel alot and are usually happy but not the case at all this time. The room we had was not clean and the carpet has debris, hair and appeared to not be vacuumed for a while, especially around the base of the walls. The heater did'nt work, we froze all night. The hairdryer was missing. The drapes would not close all the way leaving 6" open for anyone to look in the room on the 1st level.

    5
    « Excellent lodging »

I unexpectedly had to spend the night because of car troubles. Reserving a room was simple. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is well appointed and spotless. Breakfast far exceeds expectations. Well deserving of the top ratings.

    5
    « Great hotel! »

Great hotel, very cosy. It is close by many restaurants and within walking distance from SUU and the Shakespeare's festival. The staff is lovely, May, the manager is one of the nicest person you could meet! The check in and out done was very simple without hidden fees. Thank you Aubrey for being a great clerk!

    « Fall break 2016 »

I found room via another site. It was not the first choice and I was disappointed when the site revealed at purchase. This is now my #1 choice for Cedar City. Older property clean comfortable room. The pool was under repair. The breakfast is good and a varied each day.

    4
    « Quality experience »

I booked a room at the Best Western Town & Country in Cedar City for three nights in conjunction with a road trip to visit Utah's national parks. The hotel was welcoming, the room was clean and well-appointed. The breakfast was very well done with some outstanding breakfast burritos and delicious fresh donuts. Overall, I felt the stay was a good value for the rate at which I booked it. However, I booked the room through Expedia and ended up being charged nightly rates which were quite a bit higher when we changed our plans and didn't stay the third night. This was also no reflection on the hotel, but I learned the lesson that it's probably better to book direct when possible unless your plans are very well set. Cedar City did not prove to be as convenient a base for Zion and Bryce Canyon as a thought it would be, but that also is no reflection on the hotel.

    3
« Excellent rooms & breakfast-- disappointment about the pool. »

Angeles, Chanel, and Arlene made an OUTSTANDING breakfast and had OUTSTANDING customer service!!! The room was of excellent quality and the TV remote was extremely clean. However: The hotel advertised on their website that they had an indoor pool and hot tub. When we arrived, the pool was "temporarily closed," and the sign said "We apologize for any inconvenience." Well, this was basically *the* reason we picked this hotel, and we paid through Hotwire-- so no reimbursements! BUT: After contacting management, the hotel staff agreed to reimburse us the $17 admission for taking our family to the Cedar City Aquatic Center. Worked out better anyway-- that city facility is FANTASTIC.

    5
« Clean with great staff and amenities »

The staff is very accommodating. The free breakfast has a wonderful variety of choices, including fresh fruit, waffles, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon, breakfast burritos, yogurt, and the homemade salsa and pico de gallo was outstanding. The amenities, i.e. indoor pool, hot tub and work out gym were clean and enjoyable. The hotel is situated in downtown Cedar City with a market and restaurants within walking distance. Enjoyed our stay and will be returning on our next trip.

  • 3
    « Disappointed »

We were so disappointed that the pool was broken and drained. We picked the hotel and made vacation plans around our kids being able to swim. The heating/cooling unit was really loud, as were our neighbors, but we didn't report these issues to anyone.

    3
    « Dated »

This property really needs a makeover. It was comfortable and serviceable but dated. We were not in the room very much as we were wandering all over the beautiful surrounding countryside. This area has a lot to offer and look forward to returning in the future just not sure where we would stay but this is a good value.

    3
« Weekend get away to attend Shakespeare Festival »

My husband and I chose the whirlpool suite. The room was lovely; however, the windows are small and in this case faced north so we had very little natural light in the room. Another disappointment was that the hotel is in the middle of renovations which was not explained on their website. The hall that we were in had furniture in it all weekend and the carpet was not vacuumed the entire time. The handrailing on the staircase leading to our room was in desperate need of a good wiping. Additionally, the indoor pool that they advertise on the website was drained and closed. Hopefully, all of these issues will be resolved once the renovations are complete.

    5
« Great for attending the Shakespeare Festival »

This location is walking distance from all of the Shakespeare Festival venues. There are several good restaurants that are also close by. The hotel is clean, quiet and the staff is excellent. The free breakfast was nice plus, special kudos to Angeles and Chanel for great breakfast service.

    5
« Best Hotel in Cedar City! »

I love the breakfast the hotel served and location of hotel. The breakfast was a full-on meal: eggs, pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, etc. Also, there are many shops and restaurants around the area! There's a grocery market across the street and restaurants. it's so close to Dixie National Forest. We stayed here on our way back from Bryce Canyon.

    5
« Central location for National Parks »

When planning our trip to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Cedar Breaks national Monument and the Petroglyphs at Parawan, we chose this Best Western because of the central location. We did try to book other BWs in the area but for one reason or another that did not work. After full days of explorations at the National Parks, the Town and Country Inn was a nice place to 'come home to.' All four of us were able to have a good breakfast before heading out. Cedar City has many restaurants within close proximity to the Inn, so that made evening dinner easy as well! would definitey stay here again! Thank You!

    5
« An exceptional Best Western in Cedar City, Utah »

Everything about the Town & Country Inn was terrific. The staff was very friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The breakfast was delicious and the lady who oversaw the breakfast was cheerful and attentive. We will stay here again and again!!

    4
    « Family Reunion »

Very Clean and comfortable. Staff were quick to help and provided excellent service. Fabiola and Angeles, Chanel were great service providers with very courteous and friendly personalities. The breakfast was great and, again, served by gracious and helpful staff.

    4
    « Nice hotel »

I would stay here again, clean, good staff nice B-Fast, location was great. Cedar City is quiet and small but a great place to stay to get to the canyons. The only annoyance was that the yard crew would start there leaf blowers up at about 9am and we are on holiday, not ready to listen to that the benefit was that it did get us moving sooner that we might have other wise.

    2
« average hotel too high price »

This is an average hotel that is overpriced. Desk staff was uncaring and was not concerned with guest when an issue was brought up. A poor reflection of the standard that I normally receive from Best Western.

  • 1
    « Poor customer service »

Made a mistake in the reservation--my mistake, but it would have been an easy fix for them. No help from them whatsoever--wouldn't even return a phone call. Sent an underling to say they couldn't help. Won't stay there again.

    5
    « Overnight stop »

Nice, clean, comfortable room with breakfast in the heart of Cedar City. Close to many restaurants. The staff was very accommodating to us. I would always keep this Best Western in mind when travelling.

    5
    « Nice and Clean »

This is hotel is located about a mile off the freeway in downtown Cedar City. We did not have a reservation and the night staff provided a comfortable room for the night. The hotel has an elevator. There are different restaurants within walking distance so you have choices.

    5
    « Clean and comfortable »

The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom is a little small, but that wasn't an issue for us. Decent price as well, we booked online and it was cheaper than the price we were told when we called. Breakfast was very good. I had a waffle, this Best Western had more toppings for the waffles than most hotels I have stayed at. They also had pasteries, fresh fruits, and hot breakfast items (eggs, bacon, and biscuits with gravy).

    5
« Great Place to Stay »

We were very pleased with our overnight stay at the BW Town & Country in Cedar City, Utah. The room was a nice size and had both a desk and chair as well as a comfortable sitting chair and footstool, so you didn't have to sit on the bed. There were numerous places to plug in electronics to charge them. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with lots of food options. the indoor pool area looked very inviting although we didn't have time to use it on this trip. There was a good, reasonably priced restaurant right next door that we walked to for dinner. We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next trip to Cedar City.

    5
    « Overnight stay »

Room was very comfortable and clean. Desk clerk friendly and efficient. Room was noisy due to plumbing. Angeles was very courteous and helpful at breakfast. Breakfast Room was clean well supplied and satisfing. We stop here 4 times a year and are never disappointed. Fabiola and chanel were working breakfast table, also, but Angeles was most engaging.

    4
    « Excellent Service and Clean Rooms/Ammenities »

Friendly, helpful and professional staff from check in to check out. Stayed September 25-September 30th. Front desk staff and breakfast crew very courteous and attentive. Rooms were clean comfortable.

    4
« pleasant, and an indoor pool »

quite comfortable hotel, with a good breakfast (more than "continental breakfast" or a waffle machine, though they had one). Little used pool at a good temperature for lap swimming (short laps). beds are good, not great

    5
    « cedar city »

When we travel, we choose this BW for its location and the excellent service we receive there. The breakfast room was wonderful. Angeles and her team (Maria and Chanel) gave us wonderful service that enhanced our stay. You are lucky (smart) to have workers like them.

    3
« The Good and The Bad »

We had trouble checking in. We had trouble checking out, and the in-room internet was spotty at best. The breakfast choices were very good, and our room was cleaned well. It happened to also be threes end of the local college homecoming so we were awakened by a fireworks explosion on Saturday night after 10PM.

« Stay in total bliss! »

After a long drive, or a fun shopping day, or out and about enjoying the sights, this Best Western is the best lodging with 167 miles. EZ walking to anywhere in the city. The best breakfast to start your fun dsy!

    5
    « Homecoming »

Was very impressed with my room, friendliness of the staff, clean and the best part was the breakfast . Angeles was amazing. She was right there helping, cleaning our table, asking if everything was okay. The ladies that prepared the food Maria and Chanel did a great job. Sunday the breakfast burritos were awesome. Thanks for the great three day stay.

    4
« Great service and wonderful breakfasts.. »

The people who ran the place were pleasant and efficient. Anggles, Maria, and Chanel were great in the kitchen and kept a spotless restaurant. Front dest allowed us to keep our bicycles inside the back room so we had no worries. We would stay ther again next year. Karen H

« Great stay, great staff, best breakfasts! »

We travel, a LOT, and stay in a lot of different hotels. Short of one, The View in Natchez, Mississippi who's free breakfast is off a menu!), this hotel had the best breakfasts ever! We were there 7 nights and each day was a little different. Eggs every day, and two mornings they had the best breakfast burritos I've ever had! The desk staff was so helpful. Even the Maria, our cleaning lady was great (towel animals and mints each day). Oh, and one of the breakfast attendants even offered to show me how to make the burritos! I can't praise the team and the hotel enough!

    5
« Most comfortable beds EVER »

My friend & I always get 2 queens....they are the most comfortable beds EVER, with 4 fluffy pillows each!!! Always a great nights sleep. Everything is immaculate...the rooms, the grounds, pool area. all public, common areas. The staff is always friendly, accommodating & helpful. And the breakfast is top notch

    4
« Lovely place in Cedar City. »

First time staying at a Best Western. Nice room but people were loud outside the room. Also, wished curtain would have closed completely to block the light. Staff was very friendly. Great room with large bathroom and even an electric fireplace. Very comfortable and slept well in comfy bed. Right next to The Sizzler restaurant.

    5
« Review of recent stop at Best Western Town and Country Inn »

We have been staying at this hotel for about 8 years when we go to Cedar City for their Shakespearean Festival. We find the hotel always clean, well maintained, convenient, and offering the best breakfast one could desire.

    5
« Great place to stay. 1st. Rate »

Wonderful stay. Cool surroundings, with numerous sculptured wind mills. Gredt bed, room is updated. Adiquat breakfast items was a little bit crowded, but nice area to sit outside too. Reasonable price for this caliber motel. ??

    4
« Best BW in Cedar City »

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Have stayed here and the best western plus location across the street. Prefer the town and country for its easy access to fitness center, breakfast room, and indoor pool and spa

    4
« Cedar City annual visit »

Service and room very good. The breakfast was especially good, with plenty of options. I give it a 4 because it seemed a bit expensive. The amount of available parking was a challenge; we could not park in front of our room as we normally do, and other patrons told us the same.

  • 5
« 2 lovely days in Cedar City »

I stayed 2 nights while hiking down in the Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park. It is a very nice facility, good location, pleasant & helpful staff, and a great value. Clean, quiet, with a good breakfast, and a very enjoyable soak in the hot tub.

    4
« Very pleasant and clean »

The personnel service was excellent. The rooms were clean and very pleasant. Breakfast was fresh and well presented. Highly recommended, it was convenient to the places we wanted to visit. Easy to book rooms and easy registration.

    4
    « Good location »

It was short, one night stay. The hotel is in downtown of Cedar City. The premises are very nice , blooming flowers around. The breakfast had plenty of choices. It was fridge, coffee maker and micro in the room. And strange thing a hair dryer was in the bag in the closet. By the way. It was the only hotel with the closet in our 10days stay in Utah. All together it was a pleasant stay.

    4
    « Great property! »

We stayed one night. We were very impressed that although the property is a bit older, it is completely clean and kept up. The room appeared remodeled with a very comfy bed and wonderful amenities. If we were in Cedar City again, we would definitely consider this hotel! The front desk folks were super friendly and it was a great experience.

    5
« an upscale hotel in Cedar City »

Excellent facility. Comfortable and stylish with all the amenities one could hope for. One of the few hotels I have seen with adequate lighting for reading. Electrical outlets in abundance made it more convenient than most. Only downside is that the exterior lighting was so bright that it was difficult to keep it from coming around the black-out curtains

    3
    « Needs Refreshing »

Although it is well-located in the center of town, this hotel needs updating, especially an elevator. Breakfast was excellent and location of restaurant next door made it very convenient for my late arrival.

    5
« Great Place to Rest, See the Area and Shakespeare »

This particular BW has all the excellent room amenities, AND great location/ parking. But the feeling of this BW Plus is that of a spa with quiet,, nearby food, facilities, pool, library-business areas. One always has issues finding a quiet place to read or write, and this was provided. GM was always checking with guests as well like a five star hotel, and all staff is responsive to needs. Breakfast had many more items than the usual fare, making sure foreign folks has good options as well. The front desk staff goes beyond, suggesting solutions to special needs guest face--need for sewing kits, mail services.

    5
« SUU vs SLU Football Game »

For my short stay at BW I was extremely happy of the last minute arrangement to stay at the Best Western Town and Country Hotel which was 3mins to the SUU campus and football field. Great location and good service. Truly Enjoyed my stay.

    5
    « Nice »

Very nice, room was very clean, easy access to restaurants and grocery store. Bed was very comfortable, ample amount of pilllows, well lit room. Grounds were nice. Breakfast was very good. We had no problems.

    5
« Great place to stay »

We have stayed at other hotels in Cedar City but decided to give the Town & Country Inn a try on this visit. We were very happy with the result. The room was very nice, cleaned beautifully by Maria and the breakfast was just great. It is close enough to walk to the Shakespeare Festival and right on Main Street which is fun to stroll. We plan on returning to Cedar City next year for more Shakespeare and we plan to stay here again. It is now our "go to" hotel in Cedar City.

  • 5
    « Towel Animal »

When we booked our hotel online it asked if we had any special requests. Just for fun I wrote in a request for a animal shaped towel in our room. When we got to our room waiting for us on the bed was a towel animal shaped like a crab! It make us smile and happy. We even took pictures of it. They were so kind to take the time to humor us. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We really appreciated that this hotel offered a military discount that made our stay possible. We go to Cedar City every summer and we will be staying at this hotel again.

    5
    « Relaxing »

My husband and I stayed here for three nights as a base for Zion National Park and Bryce National Park and it was so nice and relaxing! The indoor pool and hot tub were a wonderful ending to our days hiking the canyons at Zion, Bryce and Cedar Breaks. The breakfast was outstanding, although we only had breakfast once because we were up and out prior to the start of breakfast, we still had the opportunity to have coffee, donuts and fruit when we returned late afternoon. It is a quite, relaxing Inn and we would recommend a stay to anyone thinking of going to Cedar City! It is within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and a grocery store. The room we had had a fridge and a microwave and it was quite sufficient.

    5
    « Dillion Lake, Colorado »

Absolutely beautiful location to stay, and this Best Western is top notch, rooms are very nice and the views from the balcony are stunning. Great restaurants and Pug Ryan's Brew Pub is fantastic ! Great place to stay and relax.

    3
    « Some Real Problems »

We have stayed at the BW town & Country Inn many times before and never had any problem, except for finding a place to park after we came back from the Festival's night performances. This time, however, I discovered when I called the front desk for help, the phone rang numerous times and then was clicked off. This happened more than once and on different days. This can be a very dangerous situation. (Once, years ago, my roommate was having a heart attack and the front desk, at a different hotel, saved his life by calling the EMT immediately.) . Also, when I asked to be booked for a reservation for the same week next year, the front desk clerk quoted me a 54% increase in room rental rates. 54%! Unconscionable! (We have always booked for the coming year this way. We've had 5% increases...never 54%.). The inability to get the front desk on the phone, and the monumental raise in room rates, left a sour taste in our mouths.

    5
    « Shakespeare Every Year »

We tried other places but are now loyal returnees every year to the BW Town and Country. It is clean, comfortable, and convenient for walking to the Utah Shakespeare Festival grounds, SUU campus, and many restaurants and shops. Breakfast options vary daily and include seasonal fresh fruit when possible, as well as oranges, bananas, and apples. Rooms are good sized and generally quiet

    5
« Nice and quiet room »

We stayed in the room that had a bedroom suite. It was very roomy and a nice change from cramped hotel rooms. The front desk staff were very friendly and the hotel was close to the venue we were visiting. I wish there were an outdoor pool!

    4
« Great Place To Stay »

The staff was very helpful and friendly each time we had a request or need and Dixie - who is a part of the kitchen staff during breakfast made the day start off great. Super sweet people and clean and hospitable stay!

    4
« Great location for Shakespeare »

Lovely, quiet, clean and close to all the Shakespeare activities. Can't beat the location for the price and the caring staff. We stay here every year. Right in the middle of the historic business district for extra fun and all within walking distance.

    4
    « Worked perfectly. »

This hotel was just a few blocks from the Shakespeare Festival and the SUU campus. It was quiet and clean and worked perfectly for purpose. There was a no smoking and no pets policy which was very good for avoiding allergic reactions.

    4
    « Check In »

Nice hotel and good value, but delayed check in. One person was checking in while another just talked on the phone the whole time. If it was important she should have at least made eye contact and said she would be with us as soon as she handled whatever issue she was discussing.

  • 5
« Close to Shakespeare Festival »

We have been coming to the Best Western Town and Country for at least 15 years to attend the nearby Shakespeare Festival. The location is easily within walking distance of the festival, numerous eating places, and across the street from a grocery store as well. The rooms are clean (if a bit dark), the staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is quite good (we go for the fresh doughnuts every morning). Our room smelled a bit stale this time, but we don't usually have that problem. We will come back again next year!

    4
« Great room, friendly staff »

Room was clean and nicely kept. Comfortable temperature controls, and amenities. Breakfast was great. Team members were friendly, helpful and attentive. Close to all attractions. Beautiful patio area.

    5
    « Great night sleep »

We attend the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City Utah each year and have found the Best Western Town and Country to Large breakfast included bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh pico de gallo and so much more. The hotel has a few larger rooms that accommodate families.

« Great Hotel, Great Price, Great Location »

We booked a room last minute, the staff was very helpful, the room was great, the breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel. Staff was very attentive, fresh breakfast. Centrally located for visiting the Canyons, easy walk to restaurants.

« Clean Rooms, large and comfortable. »

Stayed here during the 2016 Tour of Utah and the room was very nice and comfortable. Indoor pool not large but you can enjoy it, good exercise room and it all come with a hot breakfast. This was a nice place to stay and just easy walking to some great restaurants.

« Last night of a trip through Utah »

This was our final night of vacation after days of hiking and traveling through southern Utah. We were exhausted. After check-in, we were thrilled to arrive to a room that appeared newly remodeled. Everything in the room was clean! About an hour after check-in, the front desk called to ask if everything was ok. Very courteous! The beds were the best of this entire trip. I had s very comfortable sleep. The entire family slept well. In the morning, the breakfast options were diverse. They even made fresh salsa! There is a nice patio area in the shade for dining, lovely on a summer morning. If I ever travel through this city again, I will definitely stay here for the friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, and substantial breakfast options.

    « Large room »

Perfectly positioned for Kolob canyon the quiet part of Zion National Park where we had a good hike down the Taylor's Creek trail. Hotel room was large with sofa and chairs with a separate bedroom. Swimming pool was very welcome and there was a reasonable breakfast. Plenty of places to eat around it and a supermarket opposite.

We came to Cedar City to attend some Shakespeare plays and watch the Tour of Utah. We selected the Best Western Town and Country Inn for two reasons. I have stayed there before on business. Second, we enjoy the location of your facility. We are within easy walking distance of the SUU campus, restaurants, city park, etc. We very much enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The desk personnel were friendly and helpful as were the other employees. We appreciated that. The brown decor of the rooms is a bit bland but we will definitely make the Town and Country our first choice next trip to Cedar City. Thanks you

« handmade salsa and beautiful flowers, great breakfast. Great location for Shakespeare Festival »

When I checked in I needed a roll away bed and was suggested to upgrade to a suite for just $25 more per night. I was so pleasantly surprised by the suite! It was double the size of a regular double queen room. The bathroom was the biggest I've ever seen in a motel. The carpet was new. The decor was fresh and modern. The beds were comfortable. We stayed for a whole week and the extra space was wonderful. With a fridge and microwave we often ate in at the end of the day. Not the tiny dorm sized fridge but a bit larger with an actual freezer compartment that kept things frozen. It was a great home base for exploring the area. The breakfast was also a great surprise. With gluten allergies in our family we can rarely eat even the hot breakfast at a hotel. The dining room attendant got the supervisor for me and went over all of the ingredients in the hot food so I knew what was safe. They have delicious handmade salsa and pico de gallo with fresh avocado every morning. Their scrambled eggs are fluffy (they have dairy) and tasty - not like the obvious powered eggs served elsewhere. They have a lovely outdoor patio with umbrellas for shade and a roomy dining room inside. We used the pool. It was clean and though it was indoor it was surrounded completely with glass. It was bright, shaded and didn't smell strongly of chlorine like swimming pools tucked away inside of buildings. The patio furniture is brand spanking new. We saw it delivered, unpacked and set up. The grounds were bright with flowers and well kept. This location is so close to the SUU theatres that you can walk to the Shakespeare Festival in 5 minutes. We walked to the free Green Show most evenings. It was so conveniently located, so comfortable, quiet and pleasant that we plan to come back another summer to enjoy the Shakespeare experience fully. Great family activities nearby: Bryce Canyon, Frontier Homestead State Park Museum, used book store just down the street with lots of great books/buys, Stadium seating movie theater, and of course matinee performances at the Shakespeare Festival.

    « Cedar City »

Nice hotel, easy access to restaurants, 1 hour away from Zion and Cedar Point. Great for seeing the Shakespeare Festival. Much cooler climate than St. George. A little more of a drive than I care for to get to Bryce Canyon. Staff was accommodating.

    « Great choice »

I've been so Cedar City several times and this was by far the best hotel in Cedar City. They have two buildings, most of the rooms have outside entry (like a Motel) but one building has inside entry (like a hotel). I was happy to be given the choice when I checked in to which one I preferred and well as given a choice of 1st or 2nd floor. We stayed on the second floor of the main building with inside entry. The room looked recently remodeled, updated and very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small but very clean and well stocked. I liked the extra counter space outside the bathroom, the size of the mini fridge (it was very big), the microwave and the fact that the room had several outlets to recharge our electronics. The location was great, across the street from a grocery store and in walking distance to several restaurants and SUU.

« Great suprises at excellent hotel »

We have stayed at this hotel previously, but this stay was a great surprise. The breakfast has been enlarged with fresh hot food, the breakfast room is much larger and welcoming. The staff were extremely friendly and the manager went out of his way to help in any way he could. This is where we will stay from now on in Cedar City.

    « Great Service »

We had a late night arrival (2am) and the front desk person was very happy, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and again the staff was helpful and friendly. The room was normal but clean, we'll stay there again if we pass through again.

« Great place to stay! »

We have been staying at BW Town and Country for the past six years. We love to go to Cedar for the Festival and the neat clean rooms we have at Town and Country. Audrey and Mia are very helpful at the front desk. All of the staff are happy to help in anyway. Breaktfast was great and Maria's Pico is wonderful. We look forward to our stay next year. Thank you all so much, Jim Oblad

« Excellent rooms and breakfast »

Great hot breakfast with delicious home made pico de gallo salsa! Lovely rooms, quiet. The place to stay for the Shakespeare Festival. Rooms were clean, stafff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the roads and road work in Cedar Breaks - and where the local Tour of Utah Bicycle tour would be riding. Staff helped us by letting us check in 30 minutes early so my mother in law could rest.

    « Felt like family »

Chanel and Maria provide a wonderful breakfast, complete with fresh donuts and pico de gallo.....and a hug. The GM, Jared, stopped to visit and ensure everything was good. The staff made this stay a definite 5 star experience for me.

« Very good place to stay in downtown Ceder City »

We stayed here for two nights while attending the Utah Shakespeare Festival. It is located right in the heart of "historic" Ceder City. It is possible to walk from here to the Festival. If you drive, it takes 2 - 3 minutes. The Inn itself is very nice and probably one of the best places to stay in Ceder City.

    4
    « shakespeare festival »

Close but needs some work, staff said GM was thrifty, when it's my money I am spending I want to get what I pay for, and a comfortable bed should be one of them. Mattresses have to be replaced more than every 10+ years, if not then lower rate per night.

    5
« Nice to look forward to the next stop on the road »

We arrived tired. We were greeted with a smile and every request we had was met. We had a long day so having dinner at the location was a bonus. We will come here if we ever pass through again. The room and the restaurant were great. The breakfast was great as well. This hotel aims to please.

« The Place to Stay When Traveling to Las Vegas or Zion National Park »

For travelers going to Las Vegas or Zion/Bryce Canyon National Parks, the Best Western Town & Country Inn is a welcome stop for an overnight or extended stay. Located just about ten minutes off Interstate 15 in Cedar City, Utah, the Town & Country is conveniently located on North Main Street, the primary street that runs through the city. It is a two story, updated 70s era hotel, which I define as being well designed and solidly built, with a good sized parking lot and indoor pool. My wife and I stayed at the Town & Country for three nights while visiting Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. We stayed in a King Suite, which we had booked online about six months in advance. The staff at check in was friendly, and we were able to park close to our room. The two room suite was clean and good sized. Considering that there was a plasma tv each room, a refrigerator, and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub/shower, the price was very reasonable. Our room was located in the rear of the hotel, so it was quiet during our stay There was a variety of non-chain restaurants near the hotel, many of them within walking distance. The hotel is in a safe part of the city, so if a traveler wanted to take a walk to explore the downtown area (there are many interesting shops nearby) they could do so. The Town & Country had an excellent complimentary breakfast, offering a range of items from fresh fruit and delicious donuts to waffles. There was always at least one staff member overseeing the dining area, making sure that the place stayed clean and the breakfast items remained well supplied. There is an outdoor area near the dining room with table and chairs, so guests could eat outside. The Town & Country is a very nice hotel located in a very nice city that offers the traveler a wonderful stay at a value price.

« Nice hotel convenient to the Shakespeare Theatre »

I stayed overnight in this hotel so I could see a play at the Shakespeare Festival. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Cedar City, UT. My room was quiet and I had a good night's sleep. The free breakfast the next morning was very good.

    « Not one complaint »

We have stayed here several times while attending the Shakespeare Festival. First time in the king suite. Wow!! Second floor, very quiet, clean and comfortable (My wife wanted to know if I could get the mattress in my truck). Maria kept our room spotless and organized. Have already booked the same room for September.

    5
    « Clean and comfortable! »

I have stayed in both the indoor (hotel-like) and outdoor (motel-like) rooms of this hotel. Although the indoor rooms are quieter and you can get adjoining rooms, both areas of the hotel are well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. There is a decent breakfast buffet and glass-enclosed pool, which the children loved. We appreciated the service and attention to detail (towels folded like crabs on the beds). We would definitely stay here again.

    5
    « Remodeled! »

This was always a nice, average hotel, but the new remodel moves it up on my favorites list for Cedar City! Room looks great! Flat screen tv, everything modernized. Love the curved out shower curtain rod, makes shower feel much more spacious! Everything super clean as always. Great location for the Utah Shakespeare Festival! I park when I get there and don't move my vehicle again until I am leaving Cedar City. Easy to walk everywhere. Breakfast at the Main Street Grill literally right around the corner! (They do offer breakfast at the BW, but I never am awake that early!) Lins grocery store right across street (open after evening plays too!) Has refrigerator (with little freezer!) and microwave. Staff super nice, especially Justin! Housekeeping does a great job! I even got a cute towel crab! Felt like I was back on a cruise! Wifi fast & reliable at any time.

    « Comfortable stay »

Stopped here on the way from Nevada to Bryce so we could visit Cedar Breaks/Panguitch/Red Canyon and Kodachrome SB on the way the next day. Our room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was plentiful and fresh and tasty. Cedar City itself doesn't really have a lot to offer and the shops shut really early, so we couldn't find anything to do on the night apart from a quick bite to eat, if we hadn't wanted to see the other sights I might not have stopped here and drove straight through, but overall it was a comfortable stop.

    4
    « Cross-country trip »

I found the room to be clean and comfortable. The free breakfast buffet was a real plus. I was disappointed I couldn't use my AAA discount, because the inn was near capacity. The staff was courteous and helpful.

    4
« Cedar City BW Town & Country Inn »

Hotel met our expectations, however we rented a suite during our stay so not sure what the regular rooms were like. There is no outdoor pool which could have come in useful for a multi-day stay, especially during the hot summer months.

    4
    « Clean and friendly »

This is maybe a bit pricey for a motel, but the staff is nice, rooms clean, has indoor pool (though we didn't use it) and a good breakfast included. Location is convenient to shops/restaurants. Fine for what it is!

    5
« Up to now the best »

It started with a warm welcome at our arrival after a 3 hour delay of our plane arrival at Las Vegas. Clean, comfortable room and good bed. Outstanding breakfast, permanently refilled and friendly personal at breakfast. Professionalism.al.around.

« Not recommended - Too expansive for what you get »

Arrived to an understaffed desk and after waiting for 20min was eventually served by an indifferent member of staff. I was travelling with a family with heavy luggage so they stick me on the 2nd floor with no elevator and no one to help carry stroller and baggage. The room had a broken microwave, broken fridge and a completely inadequate air-con. Room was +80C. Fridge and microwave couldn't be fixed during my stay so I had to do without. Room didn't even have a door between bedroom and lounge area. Bascially it sucked and for this they want $200 a night? This hotel won't see me again.

    4
« Nice and close to Sizzler »

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip recently. The hotel was a typical best western hotel. The price was in the high range for the chain but they were close to being booked so I considered myself lucky to have a place to stay at all due to everything going on in town. It was close to the sizzler restraunt in practically the same parking lot. I would go back again.

    5
    « Clean and comfortable »

We stayed in Cedar City on our recent trip to Minnesota. The room was very nice, very clean and the breakfast was great. They even had fresh salsa. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves so much we booked again for our trip back home.

    « Wonderful Hotel experience »

Hotel stay was excellent. Employees were great - helpful, professional, friendly, accommodating. Location of hotel as perfect as could bng.e. Food was wonderful and the kitchen staff outstanding. Would recommend this / location anytime go friends. Also would return again if our travels take us to this area.

    « Excellent value »

This inexpensive hotel exceeded out expectations for a comfortable night (for our family of 4 in a room after two nights of tent camping), breakfast and friendly service. Everything worked, was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

« The best stay ever! »

We have been on the road for 2 weeks, driving across country. After a full day of driving we were "welcomed" by the staff at Best Western. They were warm and helpful, the room immaculate. The free breakfast was the best we've had in a long time. Besides a huge selection, the breakfast also included freshly made salsas and Pico de gallo made by a staff member named Maria. That little extra, along with the good service Maria and Elisa gave in keeping the breakfast running smoothly was a wonderful way to start the day. They treated us all like family. Thank You!

    5
    « Best breakfast ever! »

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days. The staff are awesome, always smiling and willing to help in any way. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The breakfasts were the best we have ever had at a Best Western hotel. They have non fat milk, good variety of breakfast items and fresh donuts everyday. The best part was the homemade salsa made by the staff. It is outstanding! We will definitely be returning.

This hotel is well maintained and clean. Complementary breakfast was good. The grounds were manicured nicely. As an older facility it was very pleasant and it is in the center of town and restaurants are within walking distance & we are seniors!!

    « Great Location »

The rooms are very clean and modern. The breakfast is great. Check in and out are quick and easy. I'd recommend it to anyone. Good location, downtown close to many restaurants and shops. My wife and I were able to walk to and from the hotel with ease.

    « I would stay here again. »

It seemed like a new or recently refurbished hotel. It was clean and the AC worked great. Breakfast was decent, they made fresh salsa, which was excellent with my eggs. There was a nice outdoor area to eat breakfast. Excellent landscaping. Multiple restaurants were nearby.

« Four night stay with one year old »

Nothing but good remarks. As in general I find that most Best Westerns offer an excellent price/quality balance. At the check-in I asked for a room upgrade as our one year old daughter loves to have space. I was willing to pay for it but received it for free, maybe because I'm a platinum member or as our daughter used her charm ??. This made our stay of course even better. The suite was spacious and very clean (especially compared to the hotel we came from). The breakfast was like all BW breakfasts (love the waffle machine). Staff was superfriendly and we were able to do our laundry after two weeks of road tripping. Also the (inside)pool is superb, larger than I thought and we loved the hot tub. The hotel is close to all grocery stores and ideal to visit Bryce, cedar breaks national monument and Zion. Wouldn't recommend to go at the Sizzler to eat (is just next to it).

« Shame about the disturbed sleep as its a great hotel »

From the outside, this hotel looks great. The outside communal area is really good as well - there are many tables and chairs and sofas to sit on and relax. It doesn't have much to look out on but its a great, clean area nevertheless. The rooms are spacious with 2 double beds, a fridge, microwave and iron. On first impressions we were happy with the room, however, we did not sleep well at all. The microwave seems to be on all the time but actually making a noise all the time, I had to keep turning the dial into the off position! Because it is housed in a large unit it was impossible to access the power socket isolate it. The fridge makes noises on and off throughout the night. At 2am the sprinkler system goes off to water the plants which is directly outside the room. This was a loud gushing noise and the water pipes which source the sprinklers were vibrating with the pressure which added a humming noise! This continued for around 30 minutes. The staff in the breakfast room are really friendly. Although the room is great (apart from the issues with the electrical equipment) I wouldn't stay here again purely for the disturbed sleep.

    4
« Good Lodging Convenient to Bryce Canyon National Park »

Clean, sizable rooms, with good lighting and plenty of outlets, and, most importantly, good A/C on a day that approached 100 degrees. Enjoyed using the pool, also the business center. Breakfast was good, a variety of choices and friendly attendant. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and provided all expected in-room amenities.

« Nice, friendly, clean hotel in Cedar city! »

Front desk staff efficient, friendly and helpful - recommended places to go and things to do for the kids. This was just an over night trip, but we had a lovely experience here. Upon arrival, we entered our spotless room and saw a crab made of towels on the bed by Dixie (maid service member). It was so cute... we didn't have that anywhere else on our trip through Utah, and it made the kids smile and they thought it was so cool. The kids loved the pool, even though it was extremely hot, like a sauna, in the indoor pool area. The kids had a great time in the pool with lots of other kids swimming too... it was a hot day. At breakfast, Dixie came to the table to greet us and ask about our stay, joke around with the kids and make everyone feel welcome and smiley. Great girl. Great personality. We were there on a Sunday, so mostly all of the restaurants and stores were closed all day.. that was the only downside... but it had nothing to do with the hotel itself. Great experience... would stay there again if passing through.

    5
    « Amazing Staff »

As soon as my sister and I got to the hotel we were greeted by their delightful staff. When we booked the trip we were not AAA members. They gave us the discount upon arrival. The rooms were clean with folded towels into an animal. The breakfast was great as well. You can tell they pay attention to detail.

« Best Western, Cedar City, Utah »

This was one of the best, Best Westerns we have used. It was in excellent repair, and the rooms were alll smartly decorated, very clean, and a real pleasure to stay in after a long day on the road. We woke to a sunny breakfast area that was well staffed, clean and offered a good variety of food. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and would suggest Best Westerns Corporate take a good look at this one and use it as an example of the right way to run a business.

« Unexpectedly great stay for our family »

We had researched hotels in the greater Bryce Canyon/Zion National Park area and decided to stay in Cedar City. Boy were we pleased! We drove from Flagstaff, AZ with a 3 and 5 year old in the car. Having the availability of the indoor pool to help the girls get the pent up energy out was awesome. There is also a very nice city park and library on the opposite corner of the street, as well as a nice grocery store and plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The room was recently renovated, new carpet and paint, everything worked as it should, the refrigerator was bigger than what we needed for storing left overs and drinks, the room was quiet all night and the blackout shades worked excellent for our East facing room. When we go back to Cedar City, we will stay there again.

    5
« Continues to be top notch »

When in Cedar City, we always stay at this Best Western Town & Country Inn. We know what we are getting for accommodations and its is just a given. The staff is always friendly and always gives us a room on ground level which we request. The breakfast staff keeps the breakfast area immaculate and with a smile. Really good breakfast too. We are happy!!

    « A great place to stay »

Cedar City is a beautiful place to stay and this hotel was excellent. Situated in the heart of town with the fantastic Lins Marketplace across the road, this place has many rooms and facilities to use. The front desk staff were extremely proficient and helpful, more than happy to help when asked. They offer a pre-packed breakfast on the run option for those who cannot stay to eat in their breakfast room which we found extremely helpful. The room itself was wonderful and took us by suprise as it was very well furnished and felt a little luxurious. It was most pleasurable coming home in the late afternoon after a day of sightseeing both Bryce and Zion National Parks. There are many restaurants with walking distance and lovely shops with late closing hours nearby too. A great stay and highly recommend.

    « Family Vacation »

Hotel was great. Close by to all the areas we wanted to visit. Breakfast was very clean and the selection was great. The swimming area nice and we had a wonderful time at the hotel. The only problem was that we learn not to park by the smoking area.

« Finally a price and quality place »

After a long road trip, this was an affortdable and clean place to stay with nearby dining and an indoor pool. Very family friendly. The breakfast area is inside and an outside patio, but it is standard hotel breakfast fare. But it is included, so if you are okay with that, then no complaints. The coffee was actually really good, but I really wish half and half creamer was offered rather than the non-dairy. The water pressure from our sink's faucet was restricted in some way, but any criticism I can offer is minor at most. The place was the best run, cleanest, friendliest place we stayed in over a week. My grandkids were traveling with us, and they were so relieved and really enjoyed the pool, which was not toxically over-chlorinated as many are.

« One of the Best »

I just drove cross country staying at many Best Western hotels as a rewards member. This was one of the best. Clean and comfortable room. Good service at check in and restaurants not far away. I don't have any criticisms, just compliments for everything.

« Always a good Place to stay in Cedar City »

I stay here a lot and the property is well maintained and kept up. They seem to be constantly updating things. I saw new carpet going into some rooms even though the Old carpet was still good. I like this place because the pool and hot tub are nice and the rooms are always immaculate. Also you can walk to dinner and the grocery store is right across the street. Also good parking for large vehicles and oversize rigs.

    5
    « Super! »

This was our first experience at a Best Western and we were quite pleased! We made reservations 3 weeks in advance as it was Memorial Day weekend. In order to accomodate everyone, they moved us into the Honeymoon Suite which was a surprise bonus! The check-in service was excellent, our room was very clean and spacious and breakfast was quite nice!

    5
« Great place but no elevator. »

We enjoyed everything about this Best Western. The location was in a beautiful city, The motel was very nice, as was the staff. The only downer was no elevator, but that shouldn't be a problem for younger folks. We were just a short drive to Bryce Canyon, over a scenic mountain. Utah seems to have everything.

« Good Value in Cedar City »

Large rooms/suites, plenty of off-street parking, walk to several restaurants (we like the Depot Grill) and a good breakfast. Although we did not request it, the Front desk staff up-graded us to a suite as Best Western rewards customers.

    5
    « Excellent stay »

We stayed there two nights and were very pleased with the accommodations.....even used the laundry facilities which were clean and efficient. Was located near a restaurant for dinner and, of course, we didn't need a restaurant for breakfast because it was provided by the hotel....which was very nice.

« great staff; clean hotel »

My husband, daughter and I transferred to the Cedar City Best Western from the Bryce Canyon one because my husband had altitude sickness from the high elevation at Bryce Canyon. It was a last minute change (3 pm that day) and the staff at both hotels were very helpful. In fact, when we arrived at the Cedar City Best Western, Dakota (the staff member at the desk) called our room about 10 minutes after we checked in to make sure all was ok. My husband felt 100% at the lower altitude and we were very grateful for the accommodation. This was the first stay at a Best Western (Bryce Canyon then Cedar City) and we are definitely going to consider Best Western hotels for our future travel plans.

    4
« Great Place To Stay »

Great location, just off the I-15 and located in the center of town (grocery store located right across the street). The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. This was my second stay here and the next time I am in the area and need a quality room, I will definitely try to reserve one at the BW Town & Country Inn.

    5
    « Lovely place »

We enjoyed this Best Western! Clean, friendly service, nice room, great breakfast. We got a wonderful tip for a nice dinner just a little out of town to Rusty's Ranch House...another nice meal! It was a pleasant stay and afforded a nice stop on our road trip! I'd recommend it.

    4
    « One nigh stay »

Hotel was clean and well kept. Breakfast was typical for a BW. Internet was really slow and sporadic. Microwave and refrigerator worked well. Room was on the first floor and was very quiet. Parking and access from the highway was very good.

    5
    « Great Suite / Price »

The room and facility was so comfortable and inviting, we would definitely return. Word of caution, there is no elevator to the 2nd floor so if that is a physical concern, be sure to check on ground floor availability.

    3
« Beds comfortable, pool/jacuzzi great, staff friendly. Rooms weren't that clean and it seemed high priced. »

The staff was very friendly and the pool/Jacuzzi were very nice. However, the price seemed high for the old carpet, mold on the ceiling in the shower. It just didn't feel real clean. The beds were extremely comfortable!!

« Not as good as other Best Westerns »

Good location, clean. Not impressed by the tip envelope on the bed when we walked in the room. It was the first thing we saw. We put it on the night stand and the next day it was front and center again. Tacky. Breakfast wasn't as good as other BW. Eggs ice cold. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Preferred the prior location (opposite corner) and look and fell of that hotel. The "new" one is drab and plain, almost depressing. The staff are friendly and polite but not friendly. The breakfast woman was very pleasant and even tolerated my butchered attempts at Spanish!

    « Not our favorite »

The best thing about this stay was easy off and on freeway! The rest was not so good....toilet running, pipes squealing off and on and no tv working most of time. If it was then the reception was poor. The beds were very comfortable . Will go somewhere else another time!

« Spent One Night while Traveling to Denver »

After some initial confusion, we were checked in to the hotel. It was a large room with a king bed. They had a modern flat screen tv and large bathroom. We took a walk through town at night, but all stores were closed. There is a full free breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed our brief stay and would stay here again.

« Good value for your money »

We stayed at Best western on our way back to Vegas. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere and rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a room at ground level which was very convenient with our 2 kids going in and out of the pool. Breakfast was simple but good enough. They had donuts available all day long. It was the perfect starting point for exploring the beautiful parks. Go visite Cedar National Monument

    « Excellent Value »

Very clean and comfortable, spacious rooms with queen beds (not smaller "double") and refrigerator, decent breakfast included, ample parking and wide stairs and walkways. The indoor pool looked nice but we didn't use it.

« Great location Great Service »

I visited cedar city on my way to arizona. I thoroughly enjoyed the remodeled rooms and the very comfortable beds. I really liked being able to walk to a great place to eat dinner. I recommend this motel.

« Probably the best Cedar City has to offer »

The rooms were clean, clean, clean. This made up for the fact they harken from a past era, and are still waiting their update to modern times. There is a pool on site, indoors and smallish, but great for families. Restaurants are close by. You can see the pretty red rock cliffs from the windows, providing a scenic local view. I would stay here again when going through Cedar City because it looked like the best choice in town. And the old school style of motel was fine for us, due to the exceptional cleanliness of the establishment.

« Great Stay, Great quality! »

I was very impressed with this hotel. The quality was higher than I was expecting. Everything was very clean and very organized. I loved the setup of the 2 queen room with the extra counter/mirror outside the bathroom. We were able to get ready for our wedding in double time! The breakfast was delicious and filling with lots of great options (donuts, yogurt/granola, waffles, fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, salsa, toast/bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, hot chocolate, the whole works!). We needed a late check-out and the front desk was very willing to accommodate us. I slept comfortably, the kids enjoyed the TV. All in all, very great experience and I would definitely stay here again!

    « Road Warrior Friendly »

I'm half road warrior half tech. I stayed at this hotel because of work. I travel tons for work and the solar industry brought me to the area. I needed a printer and my little portable injet printer ran out of ink and upon asking the front desk they informed me that they had a business center that I could use. Talk about just what I needed. I really appreciated that.

« Great place for a pit stop »

We stopped here on the way to Zion National Park. It's a perfect launching point as it's about an hour away from the park. This hotel was perfect for a comfortable nights' sleep. Great rooms and comfy beds. My kids liked the free wifi and the free breakfast. Nice staff - book with confidence!

« Great place to stay »

After having stayed in a shady motel in Vegas the night before, this place was a relief. I knew I could count on Best Western for a clean, comfortable room. To start, the housekeeper had folded a fun crab out of towels and placed it on the bed with peppermints for eyes. In the "i" of her name (Fabiola) she had put a smiley face. I know its all cheesy, but it adds an extra level of friendliness and welcome to your stay. The room was clean and in good condition. No obvious or outstanding wear. Everything was clean and up-to-date. The bed was comfortable with fresh linens and plenty of pillows. The bathroom and vanity areas were nice as well. All in all it was a pleasant stay. It may not be the cheapest property in Cedar City, but you often get what you pay for. I wanted a place that was neat, clean, and well-kept, and that's exactly what I got.

« Great place to stay »

Excellent Hotel, very clean and great staff. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choices from cereal, eggs, sausage, waffles and an assortment of pastries. We will definitely stay here again, and would recommend this Hotel to anyone traveling to Cedar City.

    5
    « great place »

nice clean room, great large area for breakfast, and wonderful choices that vary every day. Excellent customer service when setting up your tablets and roku. When we visit Cedar city, this is the hotel we love to stay at. It's across the street from a grocery store which is very handy, and a sizzler is right next door for dinner.

    « Southern Trip 2016 »

Overall this property is very good. It is the third time I have stayed at it due to its condition, location and proximity to eating establishments. The staff are very friendly and helpful and follow up with a phone call to the room to ensure that everything is acceptable.

    5
    « Great Value »

The price of our room coupled with the overall experience made our night stay at Best Western Town & Country Inn a great value! Being a part of Best Western's Plus program has been a helpful tool. Great stay.

    5
« Comfy in Cedar City »

Once again a delightful stay in this remodeled hotel. Quiet, great internet, wonderful king bed and adjacent restaurant make this a great place to bed down for the night. I asked for a room on the main floor due to mobility issues and they granted us one on the main floor close to the office and breakfast room. Easy to access from the main highway. I loved the adjacent Sizzler restaurant which offered a wonderful fresh salad bar at very reasonable prices.

« A quiet peaceful stay @ Best Western Town & Country Inn »

We were welcomed to the hotel by the hotel staff...it was a difficult time as we were there to attend our Mother's funeral service. So the peace & quiet was relaxing & much needed. The breakfast was OK, but they did seem to run out of some items by 9:00 a.m....refreshing them promptly would help all the hungry guests. All in all...I would recommend Best Western Hotel !

    « Skiing at Brianhead »

Our stay at BW was perfect for reaching Brianhead ski resort. We had a nice clean room and a good continental breakfast was included. The hotel was conveniently located in the downtown area, close to restaurants.

« Great property and great price »

The staff is VERY helpful and friendly. Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and coffee even better. Thanks for a great stay. The price was right for the quality. I've stayed here before and will definitely return.

    « Cedar City Gem »

This was our second stay at The Best Western Town and Country. Once again we were very pleased with our accommodation. Our room was spotless! The linens were updated and very good quality. This year we required disabled accommodation and the room was more like a suite. It even had an electronic fireplace with an office area. The bathroom was very big with a double shower. The staff is very friendly, polite and professional. What a treat. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of options. Hope to stay there again!

    5
    « Super Comfortable »

very clean, friendly staff, Room was big and very comfortable. Location very central to downtown and college. We were on a business trip recruiting Teachers from SUU and the weather did not cooperate. The hotel was very comfortable and my family loved the pool.

    5
    « Excellent Hotel »

I was very surprised. This was our 1st stay at a Best Western, and the room was wonderful. It was clean, roomy and bright. The maid left an origami towel of a Crab on our bed with mints on it. We will defiantly stay again.

    5
« Exactly what we were looking for »

This best western was exactly what we were looking for during a storm. We were traveling in the middle of a snow storm that took us off guard. We drove all over cedar city looking for room. This hotel was the last one with rooms. We very much enjoyed our stay.

    5
    « Clean Rooms »

Very Professional Staff. Clean Rooms. Good Location. Easy Check out. Good Internet. TV Signal was poor! I almost did not submit this review because of the 200 character minimum. I don't think it is necessary.

    5
« Fastest Internet In the Town »

We travel down to Cedar City several times a year, and finally found the hotel we will be staying at from now on. This hotel has great Internet and I was able to download and upload all my work from my hotel room. What a great perk and saved me from stressing about getting bids back to customers. My room was big and the breakfast was great. Nice hotel. We will be staying here about once a month from now on.

    5
    « Comfortable and Clean »

Stayed two nights for business. The room was very, very clean. The bed and pillows very comfortable. There was always plenty to choose from at continental breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would bring my family for sure. Perfect location for restaurants and grocery store, etc.

    3
    « Good Option »

Typical motel style facility at the center of downtown. Pros - we've got a good rate. Breakfast area and options (OJ quality was the best compare to 3 other places we stayed at). Fitness room was spacious with weights and cardio equipment). Good location. Cons - Motel style building design with noisy window A/C / heater units and windows allowing any one walking by to see through even on the 2nd floor.

    4
    « Dated but clean »

This hotel is a little dated, but is very clean and run very efficiently. Breakfast area typical, however I noticed 2 dozen of donuts which is not typical for a hotel. I don't eat donuts, but it's good to see something new on a menu for the kiddos. Great location and friendly staff. I will stay here again. Right in the middle of Downtown.

    5
« Nice downtown hotel convenient to the Interstate »

The King suite room was very large and room, and it was clean. The bed was comfortable and the area around the motel (downtown) was quiet. There was a roomy bathroom area with a lot of counter space, which was nice. There are several restaurants nearby, including a Sizzler next doo. This was a good spot for us to stay one night on an extended road trip. We would stay again.

« Clean, but poor appliances »

I stayed in this Best Western on my way to St George, UT. I only have good things to say about the service during check-in. The rooms were clean and decent for the cost. The TV reception was unwatchable and for some reason the microwave was making this vibrating sound until I sleepily got up in the middle of the night to unplug. The hotel was booked full and unfortunately you could tell by the level of neighbor and outside noise. To be fair I didn't report any of the issues during my two night stay, so it's possible they could have quickly remediated the issues.

    3
« Decent rooms, clean and affordable »

Rooms were clean, pool was busy and kids seemed to like it. Fitness room was tiny and a bit pointless, a set of free weights and a bench would be a good addition. Staff was friendly and the free breakfast was really good. Bathrooms could have been updated, however, they were clean with plenty of clean towels.

    4
« Clean room, friendly staff »

The room was clean and close to Kolob Canyon, which is where we were headed the next day. The front desk, and breakfast staff were so friendly and accommodating. The indoor pool is small but clean and there were plenty of towels. We were in a room not connected to the main motel area so the walk back from the pool was a little cold. I would stay here again.

    2
    « Tired hotel »

This hotel has seen better days. Our room was clean, but the decor was old. The toilet ran thru the night and we were unable to fix it. It was quite irritating. Pick one of the newer hotels near the freeway exit.

    5
« Still one of the Best »

As one of my first B/W Hotels that I started staying in many years ago and my first review on Trip Advisor (only because Jarrod Porter ask me to put in a good review) I had never done one before and I had never heard of it. But thru all of this, years later, the people still make the Hotel what it is: Great!! Thank You Mr. Porter

    5
    « Very very nice! »

A surprisingly wonderful family suite that was just excellent! Clean, roomy, comfortable...lots of pillows (+++), mattresses were just right and the staff were kind, helpful while being professional. Thank you BW Town & Country!

    3
« Nice motel, terrible TV reception! »

We checked into this hotel expecting to be able to watch some NCAA basketball games while relaxing from a long day of travel. They did not have ESPN or any other channels carrying the games. TV reception was absolutely terrible. We called the front desk. The clerk didn't seemed to worried about our concerns. The room was nice with a microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was OK. Nothing special. Overall, this hotel does not meet Best Western standards because of their crappy TV. We should have asked for a refund! I will not repeat stay at this hotel

    5
« Superb Staff, Great Hotel »

Clean, Clean, CLEAN!! Superb, polite and helpful staff. Well above-average over other hotels in this category. The indoor pool was clean, and crystal-clear. The hot tub (spa) was hot enough to be bracing, far better than lukewarm hot tubs at many hotels. Glad we found this hotel, will visit again.

« BEST WESTERN - CEDAR CITY UTAH »

Had been on business in Vegas. Son was on business in Salt Lake City. I'm from West Coast, and He from East Coast (NY). Cedar City was a good mid point for one night reunion of Father and Son. Past experience said - "Choose Best Western" - And this was a good choice. Lot's of room, and a very good breakfast set up.

    5
« Another great experience at Best Western! »

Super stay! The staff was so pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and modern. The breakfast was warm and delicious. The kids enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool as well. We arrived late that evening at 8:30pm and they had been itching to get out of the car and swim and luckily the pool was open until 10pm. I don't normally like to keep the kids up that late but it allowed for us to sleep in after a comfortable nights sleep and still have time to make it to breakfast from 6-9:30am. Breakfast is a big deal for our family and we were delighted with the selection. Fresh donuts and rolls, waffles, breakfast burritos, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt and granola, breads and bagels, juices, cereals and coffee. We've been on a seven day roadtrip so far and of all the different hotels we have stayed at, both of the Best Westerns have taken the cake!

« We always enjoy Cedar City »

We always enjoy spending the night in Cedar City. We have tried quite a few of the other hotels in this town over the years that we have been passing through and this hotel is one of our favorites. We can always expect a clean room and a good hot breakfast.

    3
« Stopped due to snow »

The room was clean ... No Tv... Staff didn't answer phone when called from room phone ... Had to call from cell phone to get her to answer... The food next door at steak house was okay...the staff were friendly but the steak was over cooked for med rare.. Extra in bar looked old and cold

    5
    « Great Place downtown »

Downtown Cedar City Utah is great. We had a lot of fun window shopping and enjoying the downtown lights. We were able to catch a movie at the Historic Cedar City downtown movie theater. All within walking distance from the Best Western.

    5
    « Breakfast was wonderful. »

Breakfast and staff were great. I had personal attention and the coffee was good. I asked them where they got their donuts and they told me that a local bakery provided them. YUM!! Will stay here again.

    5
    « Friendly staff »

We were traveling to Vegas and stopped in cedar city for the night. The staff here was very friendly at check in and after we were in a room awhile they called and asked if everything was ok and if we needed anything. The room was great and the breakfast was way better than most. I would reccomend you stay here if in the area.

    5
« Close to Southern Utah University »

This hotel is close to Southern Utah University. I stayed here while visiting my son who is attending SUU. I walked to a bakery across the street and had a wonderful soup bowl. I also enjoyed the downtown atmosphere.

    5
    « I love the staff »

I love the staff at this property. I have stayed at many hotels and although this isn't the very best that I've ever seen, it really is quite good. The front desk was quite friendly. Room was clean as well. All in all I recommend this hotel.

    4
    « Almost perfect »

Comfortable clean room, kind staff, excellent breakfast with many choices, and good location downtown Cedar City, yet close to freeway. The only negative was the television was blurry. The Depot restaurant across the street has excellent food in a fun atmosphere for dinner.

    5
    « I Love to Mountain Bike »

I stayed at the Best Western Town & Country Inn while traveling southern Utah on my way to Arizona. I wanted to ride gooseberry mesa. I decided to stay at this hotel and I'm glad I did. The breakfast staff made breakfast burritos that were great.

    5
    « Enjoyable stay »

I really appreciated the staff at the property. I had an animal made out of towels in my room with a note from my housekeeper. The property is older but had everything I was looking for. Plenty of parking, great internet and a comfortable bed.

« Cosy in Cedar City »

Excellent hotel! Great staff! Good breakfast buffet with many choices! Excellent internet services. Easy to find and good proximity to highway. Mattress was very comfortable. Restaurant next door was clean and offered good food choices. Salad bar was always fresh and frequently replenished. Would definitely stay there on a return trip. They even honoured our request for a ground floor room something we did not experience on our eastern US trip and Best Western hotels!

    5
« Perfect Place to stay! »

Everything was great! Great breakfast! Nice people! Clean room!! Easy to get to and next to everything you may need!! My request for two bottom floor rooms was granted!! Could not have been better!!! Thanks for everything!!

« Best Western Cedar City, Utah »

Very poor value for price of room. Rooms need immediate renovation given - the loud/ineffective heating/cooling system, lack of cleanliness, poor shower facility, antiquated television with limited access to programs/channels, uncomfortable bed, poor lighting, small room, odor in the room, noisy, poor location and the list goes on. Very disappointed. Would never stay at this property ever again and would not recommend to anyone.

    5
« Good value good food »

The place was clean and great breakfast buffet . You cannot walk away not being well rested and fed. Easy access and well lit. no street noise to contend with and very clean in every way. The beds are very comfortable and nice firm pillows to get a great nights rest. I will stop in again when in the area because my experience was so great.

    1
« Look out for your belongs »

House keeping took my things ( claim it was check out error when I was to stay more nights ) I was only able to recover my clothes nothing else. Management failed to understand how I can come with luggage an items for a week stay, but only leave with my clothes.

    5
« Close to things and good property to stay at »

I regularly stay here its away from the Highway and right on Main street next to down town. You can walk from here to a grocery store across the street and there are plenty of dining options in the area, all walking distance. The rooms have been upgraded and are well kept and clean. Breakfast is well done and has quite a typical variety of the usual continental items. I will continue to stay here for work trips on my way through

    4
    « Impressed »

Don't judge this motel by the outside. It was super neat, clean, and well decorated inside. I was very impressed with the room. They even made a little animal out of a towel like you see on a cruise ship. Breakfast was great.

    4
    « Room Was Great »

The room was perfect. The staff should be a more knowledgeable about parking as we were pulling a trailer and needed to know if it was legal to park on the street as parking is very limited on the property. They should also be more helpful with places to eat that are close. We would like to have found something walking distance as the parking was hard to come by and did not want to move our truck and trailer once we found a place. Aside from their lack of knowledge the staff were friendly. Also, I was a little surprised that they did not remove snow (old) from the walkways and steps leading to the rooms. Very slippery and dangerous. All that being said, I would stay again as the room was clean and comfortable.

    « Ms. Mayuni Nunez »

1st Issue: Room #139 (first floor) is small in general and definitely too small for two queen beds. The "hallway" or space between the 1ST queen bed and the desk is very short in width. Thus, if someone is sitting at the desk then the chair occupies or blocks the "hallway" space and the chair touches the bed, so no one can go to the bathroom unless he or she climbs over the 1ST queen bed. 2nd Issue: The water in the swimming pool is not heated and it was way too cold. We had to sit in the hot tub, since the water was too cold. 3rd Issue: Mayuni [--] (Front Desk employee), if that is her real name, should not be working as a representative for Best Western. She was rude, sarcastic and non-apologetic. On the 1st day we could not get into the swimming area and our hotel keys had to be updated so we could get into the pool. We took the keys back after we checked in and got them updated. On the 2nd day we were locked out of our hotel room; thus, I went to the front office and talked to Ms. [--] (front desk employee) about our current situation. I mentioned that we are not able to eat breakfast, because the hotel is way overbooked and there is not enough food. People are standing around waiting for food and all the tables are occupied. She stated that "the employees are doing their best and if we did not like their breakfast then we could go somewhere else." I also mentioned that we could not get into our room. She sarcastically stated that putting a hotel key into a wallet near a credit card would de-activate the key and she would re-activate my key. I stated that the hotel key was sitting on top of the tv stand and it was never in my wallet and this is the first time I tried to use the hotel key today. I went back to the hotel room and tried again to open the room, but it would not. Please keep in mind my pregnant wife and my kids (all under 5) are standing out in the front of the room outside freezing. Thus, I went again to the front office and stated to her that the room would not open (2nd time). She finally decided to take the master hotel key which is suppose to open every hotel room and tried to open our hotel room. It would NOT open the door. Her disposition suddenly changed, because she was very surprised that she could not open the door to hotel room #139. She stated that she would call maintenance and that they would open our door. She suggested that we go eat breakfast (obviously, she ignored what I stated earlier about the huge crowd of customers waiting for food and how there wasn't enough tables to occupy the crowd so they were standing around). Finally, after standing around for 15 to 20 minutes we were able to get a table that we had to clean off ourselves and we were able to eat cold cereal and some fruit. The manager of the hotel (Josh, if I recall correctly) showed up an hour later and was able to get into the room. He stated that the lock to the room was not working properly and he had to fix it. The maintenance guy was in the hospital in Saint George, UT and it took a while before he called the manager back. The maintenance guy walked the manager on how to fix the lock. After waiting (3) hours, the lock was fixed. The manager replaced the battery and a defective part. Some of our day was lost while waiting for the manager to fix the hotel and we decided to cut our stay one day early. The manager was apologetic and stated that Ms. [--] should not have been rude and he stated that he would re-credit our card back 1 night. We paid for the 4 days/3 night stay upfront and our total bill was $335.83/3 = $111.94 (per night - federal and state taxes included). Our card was re-imbursed the full amount; however, we were charged ($12.61) more for the two nights we stayed. We paid $236.50 (federal and state taxes included), but we should have paid $223.89 (federal and state taxes included). In other words, we got ripped off on top (add salt to the wound) of how we treated by Best Western and Ms. [--]. The manager did give us 6500 points to compensate for the bad experience and Ms. [--] (who never apologized for her sarcasm and rudeness). Even though the manager tried to fix the issue; would never stay again in this hotel since we were charged an additional $12.61 for two nights in a cramped room. I thought we overpaid in the first place and then to get an additional $12.61 was the cherry on the horrific experience.

« Wonderful place to stay »

The hotel was great it was clean, and the staff were all very polite. All our needs were met immediately. The rooms were immaculate, and comfortable. It was one of very few hotels where I didn't mind taking a shower.

My wife and I have stayed at this Best Western several times while travelling from Canada to the southern USA and certainly will on any other trips that take us through Cedar City. The staff are always very friendly and courteous, both at check in and check out. The rooms are top notch clean and well decorated. Thank you BW Town & Country Inn!

    « Clean and cozy »

Nice and convenient place to stay in Cedar City. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. We stayed here on our visit to Brian Head. We had a late check-in on a cold night, the reception was very welcoming and accommodated us with our needs.

    5
    « Good service! »

My room was amazing! The bed was perfect. Housekeeping did a wonderful job and the front desk staff was very welcoming. The hot tub was not very good as the jets would go up and over your head and splash you in the face. Other then that breakfast was good and we will definitely be back!

    « Nice suite »

We recently stayed here and when we got into the hotel we were greeted by a lovely young lady who informed us since we were Diamond members we'd been upgraded to a suit. The suite was like a mini apartment, it was huge and clean. Definitely recommend this facility, not only for that but has a great breakfast as well.

    « Horrible Customer Service »

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. After checkin, had wrong # of beds, come to find out our reservation was booked wrong and they had no rooms available for the remainder of our stay. Had to find another hotel for the next two nights. Staff was not apologetic about anything, rooms were dirty upon entry, and had a strange smell. Forgot an item went back to retrieve and they were very rude about the whole ordeal. Terrible, terrible hotel & staff.

Check-in was fast and efficient even though we got there around 10PM. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with two beds and a couch. Breakfast was delicious and had many choices including eggs and meat. The hot tub/pool facility was just what we needed after a long drive.

    « Late check out »

Had vehicle problems. Didn't know when vehicle would be done. The front desk offered a late checkout and extended it so we could have time to get vehicle fixed. Very courteous!! Would recommend this hotel. Breakfast had lots of options.

    « We were lucky! »

There are only a few rooms that are inside the main building, and we were very fortunate to get one of the two interior rooms on the bottom floor. (It made walking to the pool & breakfast a little more accommodating.) There is an indoor pool/hot tub, but the room it is in is FREEZING!! Either swim or don't go in there. Burrr ... Breakfast is GREAT! And so are the donuts that are offered 24/7. (The kids LOVED that!) Room service was too short handed to get to our room, but the front desk employee was quick to get us new towels. Fitness center is accommodating, but treadmills need to be upgraded. Overall, we'd stay here again if we got another 'hotel' room vs a 'motel' room which is mostly offered.

    « Visit to Zion »

Traveling around southern Utah visiting Zion. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. Internet was easy connection and the speed was decent. Breakfast area was clean and all the food items were fresh and good. Desk staff were helpful as far as ideas for other places to go and eat. We would stay here again.

« Great room great bed »

When we arrived our room was toasty since the outside temp was around 10!! The bed was divine. A staff member called after we checked in to see if the room was satisfactory, which doesn't happen very often. We will definitely return when we're in the area.

    « good place »

had everything we needed and it all worked. people were nice, breakfast was sufficient, the exercise equipment was good and in good working order. The business office worked well and was all we needed. Overall a real good experience for a motel.

    « Excellent Stay »

Right from the time we arrived, everything was perfect. We were visiting brian head for skiing and snow mobiling. We arrived at 11 am and requested hotel to allow me early check in and they did. Then room was really very good. Their cleaning staff is also excellent. They were all smiling and welcoming. Products in the room was the best. I normally stay with marriott and hilton but the product here were really exceptional. I have been with other best western before. I liked the one in Seattle very much and thought no other best western can match it but i was wrong. This was good match with that one. The location is also perfect. There were good restaurants around. The rate was little better than marriott but i think service was way better this time. Room size was also good, products were great, people working here were really good. Overall my stay was very good.

« Worst customer service ever! »

Hopefully there will be no problems in regards to your stay here as the hotel itself is fairly nice and typical of the Best Western standards, HOWEVER, if you were to have any issues, don't count on any customer service even if you are in the right. Which is unacceptable as they are in the hospitality business. Our family of 4 with 1 small child basically got kicked out of our room while we were skiing at Brianhead about 30 minutes away. All of our belongings were removed from the room, mostly tossed into plastic bags and taken to the office. I had to sit on the floor of their office and repack my belongings to drive back home to Las Vegas, and furthermore, to go through and make sure nothing was missing. We had left our laptop, an Ipad, and several other valuables in the room. We were already in the room, checked in the night before, requested a second night, which we were told would be no problem, had a credit card on file to pay for the additional night but then the following day, they assumed we had abandoned the room and took all our belongings out of the room. No effort was made to problem solve or investigate what had happened. And of course, no manager was on site or even available by phone to talk to. We were just told that they had the right to remove a guests' belongings at their discretion. However in this situation, there was an abuse of that right. I still don't understand how this happened to us.

    « Cedar city Utah »

It was an awesome clean, quite room. No pets allowed. Light breakfast provided. Which was very good with lots to choose from from coffee, apple juice, orange juice, milk, yogurt with granola, fresh bananas. Breads to choose from muffin, sandwich bread, nuts. Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns. What I didn't like was that I was charge $ 4.00 more for the last night I stayed there without me knowing but overall nice experience in cedar city Utah.

    « Cedar City Christmas »

The room was comfortable and clean. I noticed there were many other motels with vacancies along Main Street for a cheaper price. I do wish this motel had subscribed to BYUtv, especially during Christmas.

« Clean, quiet, well kept property. »

Clean, quiet, well kept property. Nice desk service without being nosy or overbearing. Very nicely decorated. One note - If you go looking for a hair dryer, it's in the closet. The property appeared to have been recently remodeled too. Good value for the money.

« A safe port in a snow stormy seas »

We arrived early evening in the middle of a snow storm, the desk staff were friendly but the policies requiring identification and registration were a bit onerous. We always use the same best westerns as we head south. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the Sizzlers is only across the parking lot which after a long day of driving is a plus. Hot breakfast in the morning very good. Recommended.

« Clean, comfortable and friendly »

The room was neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable. I had issues with the TV and they came right away and fixed the issue. The staff was kind and friendly but not over the top. I will stay here again.

« great room and services »

The hotel was close off the highway but not too close, so it is quiet, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was great to get fresh donuts with breakfast, they were totally unexpected. We stayed for one night on our way south.

« the room is clean and the hot breakfast is excellent »

a clean room is most important to me and the hot breakfast is very good it includes a lot of varieties for people with food allergies such as gluten and lactose intolerant like me I can have a lot of choice

    « Thanksgiving 2015 »

Love the location near restaurants, friendly staff, lovely choices of in house breakfast options. Rooms were very clean and up to date, after driving in snow storm with 12 degree temps the rooms were toasty warm. We are definitely returning when traveling to Boise.

We were on our way back from Pueblo CO and took a southern route back to CA. The people were very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was wonderful. The staff was there to make sure everything was in order. It was clean and there were lots of choices to make. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Nice room, good value. Staying over on the way through Cedar City. I have a good opinion of Best Western overall and this hotel lives up to that and slightly exceeds my expectations on quality. I would stay here again.

    « Great Overnight »

Stopped over on our way from Phoenix to Calgary, Alberta. Very comfortable room with plenty of room. Breakfast was a welcomed inclusion in the room cost. Consistent and reliable with other B&W's which we appreciate.

« Good stay for Zion »

We were here because we wanted to go to Zion. Keep in mind that the main entrance is still a 90 minute drive. If you want to be closer, maybe look for a hotel in Springfield. The hotel is great. Nice rooms, pool. The only thing is the breakfast. It is included but it was very busy and the quality was so-so. But if you are here with the car just drive back to the freeway entrance and close to there you have several good restaurants. Applebee's, walmart, starbucks etc.

    « Comfortable stay »

I have stayed at this hotel several times now and it is convenient, quiet at night and friendly staff. The front office staff were easy to work with and accommodating when I needed to change my stay. I will continue to stay at this hotel on future visits.

    5
« Great place to stay »

Check-in was fast and efficient. We asked about the area and specific things we wanted to see. The desk clerk gave us all the information we needed with some special tips to save time. Several restaurants nearby. Rooms are well maintained and very quiet. Will definitely recommend this place for anyone staying in Cedar City.

« You Can Usually Count on a Best Western »

The room was nice and everything was clean. The staff was friendly. We had to stop in Cedar City unexpectedly because of a snowstorm going up the mountain to my cabin. We chose Best Western because of their reliability.

    4
« Very nice hotel and close to eateries »

The room was excellent although not ready even after we had been given the key. Staff quickly swung into action. Great size and very comfortable. Breakfast included and very nice. Guest laundry was convenient.

« Great Value - Clean - Above Average Quality - Great Rate »

Last minute booking due to change in our travel plans - Great rate via Priceline for $70 inc. parking, wi-fi and breakfast. Room clean and comfortable. Great location downtown. Bed comfortable and decent hot shower. There is a pool and hot tub, but we didn't use it. No complaints and a good option for Cedar City.

« Nice hotel near the Shakespeare Festival »

I stayed at this hotel so I could see a play at the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, UT. It is conveniently located in downtown Cedar City within a mile of the Shakespeare Festival. There is a restaurant next door (Sizzler), and another restaurant across the street. There are also other restaurants within driving distance. I got a good night's sleep at the hotel, and the free breakfast the next day was excellent.

    5
    « Business stay »

« Second stay, just as good as the first »

My husband and I for the second year in a row stayed in their Jacuzzi suite, for the Shakespeare festival. We love this hotel, it's inexpensive, clean, comfortable, reasonable breakfast, and It's within easy walking distance to the theater.

« Great Hotel and Staff »

When we booked the hotel, through Tripadvisor, I indicated that we were newly married and celebrating my husband's birthday. We prepaid for a standard room and I politely requested a nice room and location for this special weekend. When we arrived to the hotel they had upgraded our room to the Spa Suite! We were so excited. The room was clean and nice. We used the indoor swimming pool and the workout room and both were great. The breakfast was excellent! The hotel is located right on Main street with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Staff was so courteous and eager to make our stay special. We will stay at Best Western Town & Country Inn whenever we come to Cedar!

« Definitely will stay again »

Great hotel in a great location. Clean, updated decor, friendly staff, excellent experience all the way around. Restaurants are close by - pool and hot tub were clean and fun. Park across the street was great for the grandkids

« BEAUTIFUL HOTEL TO STAY IN! »

I loved the outside gardens and seating accommodations. The hotel room was very clean, (spotless in fact), and the breakfast was nice as well. Very close to the Utah Shakespeare event and close to bookstores and lots of restaurants. I had such an enjoyable time and I look forward to staying once again! Oh, and the hotel staff were very nice and accommodating!

« Great Value - Clean - Above Average Quality - Great Rate »

The #2 rating in trip advisor helped us decide and the low rate for $103 a night cinched the deal. The room is clean and the property is well maintained. Plus breakfast. Also across the street from Depot Grill - the best baby back ribs I have ever had. Stay here and eat there.

« Great place and very accommodating! »

The hotel was very clean and Stephen was great! Rooms were clean and the crab (made out of towels) on our bed was a special treat! Pool looked really inviting but didn't use it. Room was very quiet and restful.

« Great location and wonderful staff »

This property was right in historic Cedar City and within walking distance of SUU -- we had theater tickets, so that was a bonus -- many restaurants close, as well. Staff was attentive and helpful throughout the stay. We would recommend

« the updates are a big improvement »

We enjoyed an excellent breakfast at the hotel. The outside area was great to lounge in because we had a group of us. We could meet and talk. The updates on the rooms we a pleasant surprise. We had a suite and enjoyed the space.

    « Plan ahead... »

We got to town mid-afternoon. The only room availble was the jacuzzi room. $192.00 is a bit much to pay for a Best Western room... We didn't use the jacuzzi Other than the price, the Inn was satisfactory

    « RV lot »

The lot was under construction, cable TV not functional, check office was closed had to go across street to check in. The location is good and would be better when construction is completed and full services are restored.

    « Great stay »

We stayed in the 2 room suite and it was very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast provided every morning was enough to keep us from buying breakfast out. Located right down town and close to everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

    « Great stays! »

Enjoyed our 3 stays in one week at this Best Western. Convenient stay enroute to Cedar Breaks National Monument, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Grand Canyon (North Rim) and Great Basin National Parks. Slight 'hiccup' with some billing but management corrected it very promptly when advised.

    « Nice Hotel »

    « Good find »

A very comfortable place to stay in Cedar City. Conveniently located in the City Center, across the street from a very good restaurant, the Depot Grill, and a block away from an excellent coffee shop, The Grill. Will stay there again.

« Nice hotel with a small catch »

Clean room, although there was a ball of black hair on the bathroom wall which I thought was a spider web at first. Comfortable bed, adequate free breakfast, weak coffee. Here is the small catch. Although some cheaper hotel actually give you a bottle of water for free, this hotel charges for the water you find in the fridge. No note on the door of the fridge that lets you know that there is a $4 charge for the water. The check in desk doesn't let you know. The only tip you get is a sticker on the top cap of the water that says "$4.00". You can easily miss this if you don't have your glasses on or if you grab one at night in the poor light of the room. I don't mind paying for something as long as I know in advance. I told them about this when I checked out and suggested that they include this tidbit of info when you check in. It would be easy to do. They ended up not charging me for the water. So be it.

« Zion and Bryce canyon visit »

I was overly pleased with this hotel for an overnight accommodation on way from Zion to Bryce. The staff was friendly, room was meticulous, amenities were great, and the breakfast was very good!. I loved their breakfast burrito!!I I very strongly recommend this BW hotel for any one considering a stay at Cedar City.

    4
    « Road Trip »

Hotel is certainly nothing special from the outside, nor from the inside. I was surprised it was rated a 3 star, however we were pleased with our stay. Room was ultra quiet and though old, it was clean enough for a quick stop over. We did not partake in the breakfast. Also it's convenient but far enough to off he freeway to eliminate road noise.

« Great Olace to Catch the Shakespeare Festival »

This hotel is nicely accommodated has great staff and is in a great location to attend plays at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. We have stayed here many times and had a great experience this time around. You should give it a try

« One of the best on our trip »

We staid there 3 days. Extremely confortable, great service, proper breakfast and nicely situated to visit Brice and Zion Canyon. Located in Cedar City with most of facilities required. Found the city lacking varied restaurants.

    3
    « RV Park Stay »

Right now while there is construction going on, we give it a three. But at some point it will be at a higher rating, given the location and proximity to events in Cedar City. Not sure why RV'ers are charged to have the breakfast and hotel guests are not.

« Modest, but excellent motel »

This is a really good, though modest, motel. I've stayed here for many years; and the service at the front desk is always excellent: friendly and helpful. The rooms are nothing fancy, but are clean and comfortable. The beds are good. Really, there's little to complain about! I love the location right at the intersection of Main Street and one of the main exit streets. It's a fine place, deserving of its good reviews.

« Nice big room with a very nice hot tub »

We stayed in one of the suites in this hotel. The room was very clean and the hot tub was realy nice to relax in after a day of walking. The breakfast was nice, they had a waffle machine where you could make delicious waffles yourself. The thin I noticed is that the TV-signal in the building seems to be really really bad. I thought it was just our room but I also noticed this issues in the breakfast area. Ofcourse we were not here to watch TV so it wasn't a big issue for us. Would definately stay here again! The area is very nice aswell, it's located in the older part of Cedar City with a lot of nice buildings. It's a pretty city!
