« Great value and comfort »

While making a quick trip we view TripAdvisor for pet friendly hotels in Butte. We decided book at Best Western...it was a great decision. The service, updated room, best breakfast we had at any hotel, and pet friendlyness was more than we expected. We will stay there again.

« Good place to stop »

Nice property. Clean, helpful staff. Will stay again when in Butte. Easy access from I-90. Travel with a dog. Very accommodating for pets. While we consistently like Best Western because they are pet friendly, this property is a good value and pleasure to stay at.

    « Very good stay »

We had great night at this hotel. Staff is amazing and go way above the norm to make your stay comfortable. Very clean and quiet and we would stay here again or recommend it to anyone!! The price is great for the experience of the stay.

great breakfast but this place is a typical hotel. nothing special. It is the only decent place in Butte that allows pets that is why i stayed there. If i did not travel with pets then i would not stay there. The holiday inn and the Hampton are both right there on the same street and much nicer. Also the room i was in had an ant problem if i left my dogs food on the ground and they didn't finish it all there would be a swarm of ant all over the next morning.

« Oh so comfortable and great breakfast buffet! »

Very comfortable bed, clean room, love having a mini fridge, coffee maker, etc in the room.Though I was too tired to enjoy the lounge, I did spend some time in the pool/spa. The spa jets didn't seem to stay on long and sometimes took a couple of presses to kick them on but still enjoyed a relaxing soak in a clear waters :-) Pool felt refreshing after the spa soak. I can't imagine there is floor warmers by the bedside, but it felt as if the floor was warmer in the area where one would step out of bed (I was on ground floor). And oh my - that breakfast buffet! A great assortment and even had gluten free items. Hotel book info (yes, I'm a reader) said 40+ items. Was here for only a night's stay but would highly recommend this hotel-- and should I find myself staying in the Butte area, I would stay here again.

« Pit stop on move to WA »

This was by far the BEST continental breakfast either of us have ever enjoyed, and we travel a lot! Great selection, everything stocked and hot, and a sweet hostess who even dressed for Halloween! Fantastic customer service. It's always stressful moving, especially with fur babies in tow, and the Best Western was very accommodating. Great little pub, willing to serve food from Perkins next door- it was perfect for a quick bite to eat before bed. My only complaint was that I didn't care for the over-stuffed pillows, but I'm picky! Comfy beds, hot shower, right off the interstate, with plenty of room for us to park our moving trailer- really, what else can you ask for?

« A Good stop for the night in Butte »

We have stayed at this Best Western a number times when traveling through Butte. We think it is good value, a pleasant stop, nice rooms and we have been well treated by staff. They have an excellent breakfast and we like the close proximity to the highway and restaurant available.

« Home Away from Home »

I love this place! I come here monthly for business and it's a wonderful home away from home. The hotel has such a comfortable feel, the breakfast is seriously the best (They offer a lot of gluton free options!), ALL of the staff is ALWAYS friendly and my room is always clean. I won't stay anywhere else. Other hotels feel like hotels, this one feels like home.

    5
    « Thoughtful touches »

Really enjoyed the complementary water bottles at check in and in room (didn't have to drink hotel water!); Room was very clean and smelled good; breakfast was the best we had from any hotel on our whole trip. Also noticed that the hotel supports an impoverished child through World Vision; that was good to see.

« ON THE WAY TO WASHINGTON »

This hotel was a great place to relax after driving for 15 hours. The pool and hot tub were perfect. There was 3 adults so we needed a roll-a-way which was very nice to sleep on compared to some couches I slept on. The breakfast was spectacular. Never seen so much variety on breakfast. If you left hungry your not normal. Room was quit and clean and service was very friendly. Would love to stay here again.

    « Trip to Arizona »

This hotel is convient to Interstate # 15, so stopping in Butte, Montana works well for us and then on to Salt Lake City, Utah, Las Vegas, Nevada and then home in Mesa, Arizona. We will be back in this hotel the end of November

    « clean comfortable caring »

The staff at check in were extremely helpful and caring. They were able to help us check in last minute and were interested in giving us the best experience possible. Would definitely come back and stay at this hotel if in the area again.

What a great hotel!! Clean clean rooms friendly staff beds so comfortable Perkins restaurant attached & we got 15% off of our dinner!! Great complimentary breakfast certainly won't walk away hungry!! And no charge for our dog they just check your room when you check out!! Will definitely stay here again!!!

    « Lovely »

We decided to stay at this hotel instead of our usual. It was a little more expensive but well worth it. Friendly competent staff and very updated and clean. Great amenities. Will definitely stay again!

    « Nice updated hotel »

This was a family stay and went well overall. Location-It's right off the highway and near gas stations and eateries. The lots are well lit and access controlled by keycard for alternate exterior doors. I don't know much about the area but it seemed safe and is in slightly ambitious walking distance of restaurants and a mall. Staff- I stayed here a few weeks ago and walked away feeling I was treated well. This time around maybe because it was my second stay and I was comparing I was quite happy. Everyone was polite even late at night. The dining room breakfast staff lady was excellent and does a great job keeping her area well stocked, clean and she helped with grabbing stuff for my kids in what had to be the only spare second she had. Excellent. Room- Access to the alternate doors and room are controlled by keycard. It took a bit to swipe it right on my first visit but was fine, try keeping the card to the left when you enter it. The room has a digital climate control and was comfortable all night. There is a microwave and mini fridge with even more mini freezer. Soaps shampoo and a hair dryer is included in the room and the in room coffee was good for what it is. The furniture looks nice and the tv is a flat screen though I didn't have it on long enough to give you a run down of channels. Good basic assortment from what I could tell. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. No in room safe that I could find just as a note. The bathroom was fine with a selectable spray shower head and plenty of towels. Throughout, the room was clean and comfortable and I didn't hear much at any time from any other patrons. The breakfast is excellent. It's buffet style and there is a large assortment of breakfast options and drinks. It's well ran by the attendant and was very clean despite the buffet layout. In two visits I had no problem finding ample seating and it was busy but rather low noise. I was very happy. The food tasted quite good and was one of the better hotel breakfasts I've had. I drove for 8 hours after leaving and didn't need to eat until i reached my destination if that gives you any indication of the food. I didn't have a chance to try out the pool or fitness center but they looked nice from my peek in at them. I also didn't use the Perkins or the bar in the hotel but again they are an available option. I may be reading into things but, I was struck on both visits by the other guests being very pleasant. While I don't normally think of such things for a hotel I think it points out that people who stay here are in good spirits, well rested and feel good. You can't get that with a crap nights sleep or if it's noisy or unsafe. In short when I pass through Butte again this will likely be my top choice for a hotel.

« Great stop on our road trip »

We stayed a this Motel overnight and had a most pleasant experience. It was raining as we arrived in Butte so it was nice to find this motel close to the Freeway exit and once checked in we did not have to go outside again. The Perkins family restaurant was attached to the Hotel and provided a reasonable and adequate dinner. There were fresh cookies at the Hotel desk, the rooms were comfortable with the standard amenities . After a good night's sleep we were treated to an excellent buffet breakfast that was more generous than most motel buffets. It included scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits with gravy, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt and provisions for gluten free and dairy free diets. The buffet was replenished constantly. This proved to be an excellent choice for our overnight stay.

« Three nights for a business trip »

Good solid place to stay. Good, clean room that is somewhat updated. Comfortable bed with choice of pillows and pretty quiet. I was very comfortable here. Breakfast has good selections although the room is crowded on the weekends. The staff are helpful and friendly. First floor bathroom needs to be attended more frequently as it was in a shocking state on Sunday morning. Perhaps is has to do with the hotel being attached to Perkins cafe, and their use of the facilities.

    5
    « Wonderful Experience »

We stayed for seven nights on the second floor. The room was nice and quiet during the normal hours of sleep.Everything was in order and clean. The hotel is nicely located near the interstate,so if you want to go up town or hiking or fishing then this is a great base. The breakfast, which is included with your stay, was excellent. On the premises is a pub and a restaurant,so after a long day of exploring you can have dinner then a nice pint .This was an excellent stay.

    5
« Very good hotel and extremely good value »

This hotel is located just by the junction with the Interstate in the south of Butte. It has a Perkins Family Restaurant on site and is conveniently located for other restaurants in Harrison Avenue. We had booked large king but were upgraded to a suite. The suite had a large lounge, a slightly smaller bedroom and a large bathroom with Jacuzzi. The room was clean and had been well prepared. The king bed was very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast is provided and there was a wide selection available. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the freshly made waffles, The only minor criticism is that the breakfast burritos had maybe suffered a little from being kept hot so long.

« THE BEST PLACE TO LAY YOUR HEAD »

We have stayed at the Best Western Plus Butte Plaza Inn, Butte, Montana every time we have travelled through Butte, Montana. It is an excellent place to rest your head. The service is excellent and the staff very accommodating. The rooms are very clean and the beds are so nice to sleep in. It is so nice to have a restaurant on the premises so you do not have to travel out again to have a meal. The early morning breakfast has everything you could want.

    « Best Western stay »

I felt very comfortable staying at the Best Western in Butte. They had my reservation ready when I got there and gave me 2 bottles of water for my trip home. The breakfast hours were 6 to 10am and I didn't have to leave very early so it was nice to sleep in and still get to eat before the usual 8 am cut off of breakfast serving.

    3
« Great Rooms, Bad Internet »

I stayed here the night before a big class I was teaching on quickbooks and was trying to download the new quickbooks 2017 on 10 laptops. The internet was so slow we went and got a verizon booster and then ended up using Perkins (restaurants) wi-fi. Plus there were no stir sticks at the coffee table, you wouldn't think that is a big deal, but we were sitting in the lobby for 8 hours trying to do this and when you drink coffee with the powdered cream it tends to be a big deal.

« Great Overnight in Butte, MT »

Every once in a while one runs across a business that really stands out. The Butte Plaza Inn, in Butte, MT, is one of those motels in the Best Western chain that does just that, and reminded me why I started staying almost exclusively at BWs. The motel combined a decent price with high quality service and staff. The motel prominently displayed a memo entitled "To Our Guests" on the desk in my room. Included in the memo was the following: "Because this hotel is a human institution to serve people, and not solely a money-making organization...we hope you will be as comfortable and happy as if you were in your own home...." This motel certainly does everything in its power to live up to those words: the staff was friendly and helpful, the accommodations top shelf, the WiFi and other amenities worked as one would expect and the breakfast in the morning was superb, including hot and cold dishes as well as a variety of fruits. The breakfast setting was comfortable and it was obvious from the multiple conversations and "buzz" in the room that all the other guests were enjoying their breakfasts too. The experience reminded me how important the breakfast experience is to the overall impression of one's stay. The motel's memo concludes: "We are all travelers. From birth till death we travel between eternities. May these days be pleasant for you, profitable for society, helpful for those you meet, and a joy to those who know and love you best." Nice to know there are businesses which live up to their own words.

« Great stay near National Park »

Made a quick stop in Butte on our recent trip across the country. Best Western has upgraded all hotels, new logo, new beds, etc. We had very comfortable room, great shower, awesome comfy beds, and easy ride to Mt Rushmore. No free breakfast, but in-house restaurant, and a Dennys across the street. A mall across the street, and two movie multiplexes within two miles. Reasonable cost for double occupancy, and plenty of free parking. All in all, a great stay in Montana.

    3
    « Getting a bit tired »

We stay here very year when we visit family and always give it a good review. Sadly this time we need to report that the hotel has gotten a bit tired and worn. Although there was a recent renovation the hotel itself is just worn out. The service remains friendly and professional. The free breakfast is to be avoided unless you go for cereal and yogurt. The "cooked" items are worse than fast food.

    5
    « Good breakfast »

View from our room was lovely. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast included fresh fruit and corned beef hash, which was yummy. Be sure to make time to take the Gates of the Mountain boat tour. Staff was pleasant.

    5
« Perfect Place to Stay »

This place is well done. Easy to get to off the interstate. Rooms clean, modern, quiet and spacious. Internet easy and fast. This is not your mother's Best Western. I know they are trying to scale up the chain with the "Plus" label. In Butte it works. The place is a Best Western and so much more. Only complaint, and it's a weak one....do we really need five pillows on a king bed? Just say'....

    2
« Old hotel with a new coat of paint »

I am not sure how they got away with calling this a "Plus". The tub is clogged and won't drain, which is not what i want to discover at 5:30 am. The toiletries don't match and housekeeping left a used bottle of the shampoo in our room. Since they don't match, i thought the people before had left it there. I called the front desk and requested shampoo. Some grumpy guy showed up at me door with another sealed bottle of shampoo. Why send someone who glares at you? Just drive a 1/4 of a mile further and go to the Hampton.

    5
« Our trip out West »

Nice clean well run hotel. Check Inn was easy and fast. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Bathroom was clean. bed was comfortable.Swimming pool was good. I would prefer staying on the second floor.

    5
« Convenient with excellent amenities »

Stayed here on our way from Grand Teton to Glacier National Park, about the halfway point of the drive. Situated next to I=90 but could not hear the traffic. Room was comfortable with excellent bedding. WiFi was fast. Staff was friendly and helped me sign up for Best Western rewards. Perkins is adjoining, accessible from the lobby. A nice restaurant for decent food at a good price with quick service for weary travelers. Pool and hot tub were also welcome. Fitness Center is a little small for size of hotel but equipment is top notch. Full breakfast had a wide selection and a nice seating area. If traveling through this part of Montana, I would highly recommend this hotel.

    « Would Stay Again »

Easy location off the highway. Excellent bed, shower head, toiletries, and breakfast buffet. Room had microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. Stayed one night, but it was a pleasure. And, if I pass this way again, I would definitely stay again.

    5
« Great room, even better breakfast »

I just needed a place to stop for the night on a long trip, and my daughter recommended this place. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was an unexpectedly delight! I've never seen such an incredible breakfast with so many choices and condiments possible! I'd choose this hotel just for the breakfast, even though it took me a little off my route.

    5
« Outstanding service and hotel »

The staff was exceptional. Every encounter I had with a staff member was pleasant, friendly and informative. The hotel was very well kept, modern, clean, and a great breakfast! They truly made us feel welcomed. If I am ever in Butte again I will stay here.

    4
    « Comfortable clean hotel »

A great hotel, our room was slightly smaller than other BW hotels, but useful to have fridge & microwave. The pool was clean with a hot tub, although no change room nearby. Restaurant on site serving good basic foods.

    2
« Too large, too old and too noisy »

We stayed for one day and here are our concerns. There were tons of people milling around inside the motel. There were many badly behaved children running around the lobby and halls. They were using the luggage carts as bumper cars. We ate dinner at the Perkin's restaurant which is attached to the motel. It was very hot and muggy inside the restaurant. The service was slow and we had a rude waitress.

    4
    « Nice Remodel! »

I have stayed at the Best Western in Butte several times and it was always a good hotel, but after their remodel, I would consider it a great hotel! The staff is friendly and accommodating, the bar is nice and quiet and the rooms are definitely comfortable. All-in-all, this is a great hotel for the price you pay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

    2
    « Tiny room w/king bed. »

Our room was so small and old looking and the vanity was very small... it would not hold much at all. Very noisy with road and hallway noise. Our room was very close to an entrance with doors that did not lock and no key card was required to come in. I did not feel safe at this hotel. I was told at booking that it was a Best Western Plus Hotel...the only thing that was a plus was the lobby and the breakfast.

    4
« Good facility, great amenties »

We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness area as well as buffet breakfast. There was also a nice touch at the check in - white chocolate macadamia cookies. Delicious. Construction in the area made access to the hotel a little tricky

    4
« A very good motel and real value »

A bit hard to get into as they are working on the street, but once you do you will be happy. The rooms are nice, ample, and beds are excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is way above the usual with great fruit. The only negative was the heavy use of air fresher in the room, but we aired it out while we were at dinner.

    5
« Amazing Free Breakfast - Low Rates - You Can't Go Wrong! »

This has been my favorite hotel in Butte for years. It is located right off I-90 and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a Perkins restaurant attached, but the free breakfast is what stands out. It's a full buffet with eggs and breakfast meats, cereals, fruit, and awesome breakfast burritos. The food is much better than what you'll get at the Holiday Inn Express and Butte Plaza Inn room rates have been about 30% less than the Holiday inn property recently.

  • 4
« Good perks at this place »

We were overnighting in Butte and chose this place because it was affordable and right off I90 at exit 127A. A bit of a challenge getting to the place because there was construction right off the freeway ramp. We had an NS, King room, with fridge and microwave. Room was small but clean and functional and in good shape. It was on the freeway side but there wasn't a noise problem for us. We also run our AC/fan at night as white noise. The desk clerk told me that the King rooms were on the freeway side. It has a pub (Hops) and a restaurant (Perkins) right in the property. Nice feature is that in the pub they serve Perkins menu and in Perkins the pub will bring drinks to you. Hotel gave us a free drink coupon and told us that we would get 15% off in the restaurant by showing our key. It was pouring rain so we stayed in the hotel and took advantage of both of these. Nice continental breakfast with lots of items. And a good breakfast area. Would stay here again.

    5
« Wonderful stay!! Awesome breakfast!!! »

We stayed here on Sept 12th. It was cold and windy outside, so didn't do much around Butte. We checked in a little early but they didn't have an issue with this. We got our room which was on the main floor, just down from the breakfast area and close to the stairs to second floor. For it being in such a spot, I was worried it would be noisy, but in all honesty, we didn't hear anything at all. Only at about 4 in the morning I believe there was a truck of some sort outside unloading or something, but it was a very quiet sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. My only only complaint is that the sink is outside the bathroom, and that is one thing for me that I do not care for. And I did have issues with the internet, but was okay without it. The breakfast was outstanding. A full buffet and not sure what more you would want. There was hash browns, potatoes, bacon, sausages, waffles, pancakes, fruits, cold meats, cereals, and on and on. It was a lot of choice. Wonderful. We would definately stay here again if we were in Butte! Great experience for the most part all around. The minuses are manageable.

    4
    « Plus means Plus »

Best Western Plus in Butte, MT is a solid choice. Excellent staff at front desk and the rooms are clean and fresh. This is what makes any stay comfortable for me. Easy on and off from major highways, both north/south and east/west.

    5
    « Awesome Breakfast »

Great location right off the freeway yet very close to lots of restaurants and businesses. Just up the hill is the historic district. Make sure if you're in Butte to eat at the Derby you won't be sorry. Not fancy but the food is amazing. Breakfast at the hotel is top notch great selections and Linda is wonderful.

    3
    « Mostly ok... »

Spent one night here on the way to Kalispell. Clean room, reasonably comfortable bed, friendly staff. The pub was great and had a more than ample supply of beers on tap. They didn't offer food but the Perkins across the hall would bring food over, which was nice. I checked out the free breakfast. Not worth the calories. Nothing looked particularly fresh or appetizing. Coffee was ok.

    5
« The BEST Best Western »

I've stayed at a lot of BW's -- in fact I used accumulated points to stay at the BW Plus in Butte -- but this one tops the list! ALL personnel working here really made my wife and I feel at home. And what a way to start the get-away-day. Absolutely the best free breakfast of any place I've stayed!

    5
« Nicest BW experience yet! »

We had a quick overnight stay here on the way to Yellowstone, arrived late and left after breakfast. At first sight the hotel didn't look like anything special but the rooms were very nicely decorated and seemed newly renovated. There is a nice bar in the lobby that serves local beers. The best part of all was the breakfast! Absolutely STOCKED breakfast area, so many options, so much food! We had the best breakfast here on our 10 day trip! The bed was comfortable, temperature in the room was good, shower had great pressure. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and I'll be more likely to use BW Plus or Premiere moving forward. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

    5
    « Excellent treatment »

Last night on vacation. We were well received at the front desk and accorded considerable courtesy during check in. The staff was very helpful with our in house needs and provided great dinner suggestions.

    4
    « Exceptional Breakfast!! »

Right off the Interstate this motel was easy to locate. Was also of excellent value and certainly kept in good condition. We liked: 1) offer of a free shuttle to any location in town, 2) friendly and helpful staff. Were most accommodating. 3) Super pub <& casino> on site - loved the beer selections and complimentary 'apis' during Happy Hour. 4) Complimentary waters <yes two> in the room. 5) The Breakfast - was by far the best we encountered during our recent road trip. Outstanding quality & selection - including fresh fruit!! Even the 'Breakfast Burrito' was superb! 6) Is a restaurant on site but not part of hotel <Perkins> - was fine and even brought drinks from the adjacent pub as there was no alcohol on the menu. The only thing that would change would be taking a room on the second floor. We chose a ground floor <King> but then had to keep our blinds shut as people walk by in the parking lot which made it quite dark. The bed was excellent - bathroom sink on the outside which is not to everyone's liking. Personally found the room a bit 'cramped' compared to some others on our trip but certainly not small as in Europe. The WiFi also worked excellent. That being said we would certainly stay here again and can recommend to others. Was an excellent jumping off point to Yellowstone <only 2hrs. 20 min. down> and were able to spend the best part of our first day visiting there after staying here - with substantial savings in accommodation costs!

« Butte for One Night »

Stopped here after Sturgis on the way to Washington with my cat. Bar's draft options are excellent, with many local brews. There is a Perkins attached to the building where I ate breakfast. Room was very clean and nicely arranged. I recommend this hotel even if you are staying for one night, because it is right off I-90 and easy to find.

« One of our Best Western Experiences »

The hotel and staff are top notch! As Best Western Rewards members we were greeted with goody bags and the rooms were large and bright. The bar supplied free appetizers and the cocktails were great. The Perkins next door delivered dinner to the bar.

    5
    « Incredible value »

The nicest best western hotel we have ever stayed at. Incredible value and a wonderful staff. Front desk went out of their way to welcome us. We had a pet and they changed our room to more accommodate us. We hope to have an opportunity to visit Butte again.

    5
    « Awesome!! »

This hotel seemed very new or remodeled. Everything was bright, clean and presentable. The beds were perfect, breakfast was full and fresh, and the pool area was neat and clean. I plan on staying here for my business needs in the future.

    5
    « Wonderful »

First of all, thank you for honoring military with a break on the rate. This hotel is great. Clean, modern (enough plugs for all devices), the staff friendly and helpful. Attached is what looks to be a new Perkins Family Restaurant. It was really good. And the "breakfast bar" in the hotel was the best I have seen. It was actually more of a buffet than continental breakfast. Hot food and many choices of fresh fruit. Overall great stay

    5
« Very comfortable! Excellent breakfast!! »

Had a king room on the second floor at the end of the building, closest to the highway, but that little bit of noise didn't bother us at all. It was actually very quiet. Very comfortable room with all the amenities. Bed was super comfortable, best we've encountered anywhere in a long time! Very friendly front desk folks and excellent cookies on check-in. Has a nice pub right off the lobby, good for an after dinner drink. Didn't see anyone inside the attached casino. Perkins restaurant attached to lobby also, but we did not use it. The included breakfast in their breakfast room was OUTSTANDING! Plenty of hot choices, breads, and lots of fresh fruit, really amazing; best included breakfast we've ever had in any hotel anywhere. Highly recommend this hotel!

    « Perfect Butte Hotel »

This Best Western is located right off the 90 & the 15, about 1.4 miles from the civic center. It is surrounded by shopping, gas and grocery. There is a Mexican food/casino in the parking lot, but also has a Perkins diner on premises that the hotel gives u 15%off if u choose not to partake of their FREE hot/cold breakfast! We stayed in a pet friendly room that had 2 queen beds. The room was very clean and well organized. 2 free bottles of water are provided as well as coffee & local paper in the room. The bath countertop is marble and incidentals are also provided. The staff are extremely professional and want your stay to be enjoyable. The lobby had a full bar with food and gambling. I will definitely book this hotel again when in Butte.

    « Best Hotel »

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. It was one of the best hotels I have stayed in during a two and 1/2 month road trip vacation. I would highly recommend this hotel and if I ever pass this way again this is where I will stay.

« Will definitely stay here again »

Very clean, friendly staff, restaurant attached, good location. Wonderful full breakfast. Will definitely stay here again. Travel thru Butte several times a year and always stayed at another hotel. They were full and recommended the Best Western.

« The BEST of the Best Western Plus »

This was outstanding in every way! We had a wonderful visit while stalying here. It has a casino, bar and a Perkins hooked on to one wing. We used the laundry which had great machines and was very clean. The best started when we went to the bar for a drink. It was Sunday night and after 8 so we asked our tall and lanky bartender if there was anywhere that had really good food. He not only gave us three choices along with their menus but called and got us reservations. Then he had the Best Western driver take us and pick up from the venue. (The food was the best we had on our two week trip- that is another story!) We returned for an after dinner drink and the very friendly and knowledgeable bartender told us some local history and the name of some local history books. It was better than having our own concierge!

« Best Best Western Ever »

This hotel, is far above the rest of the Best Western's we have stayed in. Our name was on the board, welcoming us. Nice touch. The breakfast area was outstanding. We especially appreciated the fact that there was not a blaring TV in that area. Best display and array of breakfast items we have ever encountered. Much thanks.

« Great Place to stay »

Very delighted with the large suite we had. It is the only one in the building. It has a king bed and queen sofa sleeper. They were very helpful in also giving us a roll-a-way to accommodate our needs. The hotel is very clean. Breakfast is wonderful! I think they had something that anyone could eat. I noticed that they had many gluten free options. Lots of fresh fruit!

    « Summer 2016 »

Have stayed at service Best Western Hotels over the summer and previous years. Each time we have had excellent care. The employees are very professional and are determined to make sure you have a great day. The ones we were in allowed pets which is a big plus for us. Also, there is always a breakfast of some type provided. The Hotel in Butte is the best one we have ever experienced. The food provided is far more than one could expect; anything you would ever want.

    « Better than ever »

This is my preferred motel in Butte. I visit at least annually and book a year ahead as they fill up fast for An Ri Ra. Like every Best Western, they have comfortable beds and linens, nice rooms and reasonable prices. Unlike most, they have the best free breakfast of any motel I've ever stayed in. Omlets, biscuits & gravy, hashbrowns, fruit, sliced meats and cheeses, cereals, waffles, muffins. While not a fine restaurant, you won't find a better free breakfast. Since my last stay, (I failed to reserve far enough in advance last year,) this property has been purchased and remodeled. An inviting lobby area, helpful staff, Hops Lounge and an acceptable chain restaurant make this an excellent stay when you're in Butte. If you're in town for a major event, be sure to book well in advance! Six months is possible, a year is a good idea.

This property is right off the freeway. It was clean and inviting. The front desk, breakfast and lounge staffs were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Nice lobby area with 24/7 coffee/tea, etc.

    « Great hotel »

The employees at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, especially the beds! They have a free breakfast buffet that was very good, the eggs were even hot. We also had a microwave and refrigerator on the room which made it nice. Highly recommend!

    « Hidden gem »

Normally stay at Hilton/Hampton in Butte but they had no vacancy so tried Best Western. It's now my new favorite; clean, friendly, many amenities, very nice breakfast spread, and free shuttle to anywhere in town. Attached Perkins restaurant offers 15% discount, but many better choices in town. Easy on off access to I-90 too.

« Best hotel in Butte hands down »

We won't stay anywhere else in Butte. (We come to music festival every year.) Nice, clean, friendly, super deluxe breakfast with hot items with many healthy options, indoor pool. Quiet rooms. A great place to stay with a family! Room has fridge and microwave, usb ports, clean.

« They do it right »

Everything worked, the beds were great, even the pillows were just right. I usually have to bring my own pillow because some motels have balloons for pillows that I can't sleep on. We had just come back from Moscow, Idaho and this was the best stop. Love those chocolate chip cookies!

    « Very nice~Great Breakfast! »

We had a very nice stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We ended up with the pool all to ourselves, which the kids loved. The breakfast was very very good! The breakfast host & hostess were very nice and friendly, as well as the housekeeping staff.

    « Great staff & location »

Love this hotel for it's location & staff. The room was very spacious with USB ports for charging our electronics. No hunting for outlets behind furniture. They really go the extra mile to make check in & check out fast & easy. We were able to park our motorcycles so we could see them from our room window.

The best nights rest due to a most comfortable mattress ! The room was quiet ,clean ,beautifully decorated and the dark black out curtains made it easy to slumber late into the morning. The continental breakfast was delicious with a number of wonderful food choices to enjoy. I do wish the breakfast time was extended or available longer and later in the morning . We enjoyed our stay.

    « Very Relaxing »

I had to go to Montana on business and was put up here for the night. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. They have a shuttle service right there on site that will take you anywhere you need pretty much at any time. There is a restaurant that is adjacent to the Inn which is Perkins, Good food, well priced and decent size portions and if you are staying at the Inn you receive a 15% discount just by showing them your key card. I had a very enjoyable stay and experience. I Will definitely stay again when i am up that way.

    « Great motel. »

We pulled in butte at around 10 at night and was trying to find a motel and pulled into the best western. The only rooms they had were pet friendly and we had a few in our party with pet allergies but decided to take them since we had been to a few motels with no luck. The rooms were very clean and no problems with the allergies. The breakfast was the best breakfast I've had at a motel that just offers continental breakfasts. Would defiantly stay here again.

« Great Stay and Pleasant Staff »

We made our first trip to Butte to attend a wedding and our friends referred us to this hotel. We weren't disappointed. We stayed for three nights and the staff was friendly from check in to check out, from the front counter to housekeeping. The room was clean and well maintained. We recently stayed at a hotel on the Strip in Las Vegas and this room, while smaller, blew them away. The lounge is also outstanding. The drinks are reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly. There are only two things that keep me from giving this hotel a top rating. The parking for check in/out is poor. There are no parking spaces near the entrance and if you park under the arch by the door, you block the road. The other is the fitness center. There is one treadmill, one elliptical, one bike, and a small weight machine in a small room with little ventilation. There were three of us in there on the three machines and it stifling hot. We propped open the door to make it bearable. If we return to Butte again, and I'm sure we will, we will definitely stay again.

    « A Perfect Day-ender »

We had a party of 4 for two nights in Butte. We stayed at the Butte Plaza Inn, Best Western. Half of our group wanted to be on the first floor, the other half wanted to stay on the 2nd floor. We were easily accommodated. We had two rooms and everything went great. It was the end of July. HOT temperatures. At the end of the day, after we had visited and toured, we returned to our rooms. They were clean, cool, and comfortable. We were very happy with our experience. The staff was wonderful.

    « Enjoyed our stay »

We were amazed at how many rooms there were at this hotel, and yet everything appeared to be in good order. The clerks were friendly and efficient, the rooms were clean, and we enjoyed the pool area as well. It was nice to have a refrigerator in our room. It was a quiet evening with comfortable beds.

    « Excellent 3 nights stay. »

It's very, very seldom that I give 5 star to a hotel. Here I would like to give 6 star. Spacious, clean room and friendly and smiling housekeeping. The room is quirt from other rooms as well as from outside. The hotel even accomplished my requests for the location of my room. Many hotels don't do that today. Thank you Tessa. The location of the hotel is perfect for dining within walking distance. If you prefer very fine dining, you have to drive away. Front desk always helpful, understanding and smiling. As for the breakfast buffet. The variety is fantastic. They have everything you can possible ask for. Several nice hot items every day. If you don't find what you like for breakfast? ? stay home. The 2 ladies taking care of the buffet that I meet, were efficient and helpful. They have that little extra, to give you an unexpected smile. The ladies are quick and efficient to make tables ready for the next guests. The breakfast room is clean and very spacious, so all guests can sit down, even during ?rushhour?. I have a suggestion for improvement of the buffet. Serve fresh baked bread from a local baker. So the guests can slice the bread themselves, and smell and taste fresh bread. Not cheap pre sliced toast bread from a plastic bag. Did I miss something? Oh yes, the Internet is unusually very fast.

    « Great choice »

We stayed here one night during the Montana Folk Festival and found the hotel to be just great. The king bed was very comfortable, room was good-sized, breakfast had many choices and all good. Not right in the center...out on the "flats" but close to interstate highways.

« Road trippin on the fly »

This hotel is super considering the low price! The pool was nice and clean, the room was excellent and the free breakfast was by far the best we've had on our 2 week road trip. They had several fresh fruit options and a variety of hot options plus all the usual stuff. We have come to seek out Best Western's on our trip because we have had such a good experience so far!

    « Wonderful Place »

My wife and I were touring on our motorcycle and ended up in Butte MT for the night. We searched some of the popular hotel booking sites but didn't come across anything we liked. We drove to the Best Western Plus and checked in with the front desk. The very polite and kind lady named Lori was quick to help. I think she could tell we were a little road worn and found us a room and offered us a AAA discount. The hotel is very clean and has Perkins right next door for a great food option. Our room was very nice and clean. The bed was wonderful and the AC worked great. We enjoyed a complimentary breakfast the next morning that was out of this world. many choices and nice and hot. I would without a doubt stay here again.

    « Awesome breakfast! »

We were passing through Butte on a family trip. We showed up ~4PM on a Saturday and had a bit of a wait to check in. The room is modern, nice and all the facilities were nice. There is a Perkins restaurant attached, perfect for a quick family dinner after traveling all day. Kids used the pool while we were there. It was clean and the kids had a blast. I also did laundry in their facility while there, 2 washers & 2 dryers and vending for detergent, nicely maintained. Breakfast was huge! Well laid out breakfast buffet with some hot options, lots of different cereals and baked goods, yogurts and just about anything you can think of for breakfast! Well laid out breakfast room. This is a great place to stay in Butte!

We chose this hotel twice on a long road trip and it was great! They are very dog/family friendly. The pool area was clean and fun for our family. The workout area was adequate and the front desk staff was helpful. Walking distance to some restaurants was a plus. The breakfast is some of the best we have had for a hotel. We would stay again!

    « overall amazing stay! »

We stayed five nights at this hotel. We stayed in a oversized king room, which we are glad we did, since the other rooms were pretty small. The breakfast is amazing, giving great detail to the best fresh fruit selection I have ever had in a hotel. The hot food selection was plentiful and delicious. They also had lactose free yogurt and milk and gluten free options. The staff was amazing, especially Linda, always greeting you each morning and making sure you had everything you needed. Items are refreshed constantly, never running out of anything. The rooms were very clean, good water pressure and amazing, comfortable beds and linens. I have never slept so well in a hotel. The temperature control worked well and the room stayed very comfortable. We had a problem with the refrigerator in the room and it was replaced within 15 minutes. The one and only issue we had was with the maid service. Two of the days, our bed was not made and some garbage was left behind. Otherwise, towels and amenities were always refreshed. So, overall, an amazing stay and would definitely recommend staying at this hotel!

    « Great Stay »

Friendly staff, nice clean rooms and a VERY good breakfast (and it's reasonably priced). Couldn't ask for more. It was quiet even though near the freeway. Although we did not eat there they also offer 15% off at the restaurant they have.

    « Amazing »

The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly. They were possibly the friendliest staff I've encountered. Rooms were clean and nice with comfortable beds. My family was extremely impressed with all the breakfast options. They even offered some specialty gluten free options which was very helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and I recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

« Clean Stay with Pool and Breakfast »

I stayed here with my daughter and two grand daughters. The room was clean and had nice amenities. They had a fridge, microwave, TV, AC, etc. The breakfast was very good. The lobby is beautiful. The staff was excellent. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I appreciated all the little unexpected extras.

    « Excellent Staff »

Hotel is old and tired, our room had been updated. Had an issue and repairman was instantly on the scene. Our rental car was keyed in parking lot, which was upsetting on first night of 14 day vacation but hotel can't be responsible for whom chooses to stay at their facility. Ate dinner at restaurant attached to hotel it was okay and discount helped. Breakfast was okay-for price of room it would have been nice to have had a better selection.

    4
    « Great Staff- »

The staff does a great job. Room a little small for the king size bed but the bed was great. Bar was nice and comfortable with a great bartender and she was helpful in teaching about local spirits. Perkins did a nice job for us too. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful.

    4
    « Reliable clean quality »

Rooms are nice, recently remodeled. Public areas are clean. Hotel is quiet unless a tournament or other kids activity is in town. Hot tub jets do not work. Circulation pump only. Wish they would fix the hot tub.

    4
« My pleasant stay while on the way to Glacier »

I was quite pleased with cleanliness of the room and that is was updated. The hotel provided more than adequate toiletries and I would stay there again. It made my overnight stay on my way to Glacier enjoyable as I also had the chance to check out the town of Butte. Rates was also very reasonable.

    4
« Nice stopover on a long road trip »

Beds were comfortable; check in easy and fairly easy to get to. The breakfast was standard. We would stay here again if we needed to. We typically haven't needed to stay in Butte, but the hotel was nice enough I wouldn't mind spending an extra day here next time we are driving through as it was a beautiful place.

    4
« Except for the pet hair on the bed, was a good experience »

We really appreciated the hot breakfast. There was a real kitchen, and many choices. It had a festive atmosphere. Many hotels now say that they offer breakfast, only to be served cold cereal, pre-packed pancakes, muffins, etc. This hotel had real cooked breakfast. The only downside was that the room had not been cleaned well enough that pet hair was left on the bed, which caused allergic reactions in my son.

    5
« Best hotel on our road trip! »

This hotel was very clean and the beds were the most comfortable that we slept in our entire trip. The breakfast was much more than a continental breakfast and even had gluten-free and dairy-free items. I would recommend this and will definitely stay there again if I am ever in the area.

    « Love this place »

We've been staying each year at this hotel for several years now. We always look forward to our stay here! It is one of the best BW hotels I've stayed at. They always make me feel special and I find their beds VERY restful and comfy. The hotel is always VERY neat and clean. They do an outstanding job with their breakfasts, very nice presentation. They have a wonderful selection of items/food to select from and are great at keeping the food stocked and tables cleaned! I look forward to our next stay here - thank you so much for taking such pride in your hotel, it shows! :-D

    « Best Breakfast Ever! »

Butte Plaza Inn was a real find. The hotel has a Perkins Restaurant onsite, but they offer a breakfast in the hotel that is unsurpassed by any BW we've stayed at. I've never seen corned beef hash offered before. Fresh fruits, breakfast burritos, cooked (not instant) oatmeal with all the special things to put in it. Coffee was great. We'll certainly be staying here again when we're coming through Butte. You won't be disappointed if you do.

    « Great Hotel »

Excellent hotel. We've been staying at the Heritage Inn for nearly 40 years. Always been a great place to stay! Rooms are very nice and had all of the amenities we needed. Restaurants were close, location was great otherwise. Our only gripe was that the hot tub in the swimming area had no pressure from the jets.

    5
    « Great Place »

This hotel is one great place to stay, the staff go out of their way to make sure you stay is great. Being allow to bring my pets into room with me was great, and the pet check out was something I had never had before, and at no charge to me.

    « Great Lodging! »

One of the best Best Western hotels we've ever stayed in! The only disappointment was the weak WIFI signal. Great breakfast with several options for folks with dietary restrictions. Loved having Perkins restaurant adjoining the hotel. They have an extensive menu, food and service were excellent. Save room for their wild berry pie a' la mode! 15% off meals with hotel room key.

« The BEST Best Western »

We usually try to stay at a Best Western hotel when we travel, but this BW was #1 out of them all. When we arrived we were greeted with a big, welcoming smile and a little goodie bag as a valued reward member. The housekeeping staff was friendly, the restaurant staff was friendly, everyone we encountered had smiles and made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean, newly updated, and the beds and pillows were very comfy. Their complimentary breakfast was the best-tasting and largest variety of breakfast items I've ever seen. The customer service makes this BW in Butte the Best in our book!

« Comfortable Rooms, Awesome Variety at Breakfast »

We stayed here for one night while driving through with our 3 kids. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and beds comfortable. They provided us with a roll-away bed as well which was helpful. The only complaint was that the hot tub was lukewarm (ultimate disappoint when you're expecting hot!). But we enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was amazing.

This was a nice stay, good location, had cookies (fresh) late afternoon, they were sooo good. Rooms were clean, staff friendly. « Great Location »

This is a nice clean hotel, just what you expect from Best Westerns. I liked that it had a little snack bar where you could buy treats and just pay at the desk. Great for those late night munchies. There is a Perkins, a McDonalds, and a Mexican 3 Amigos all within 5 minutes walking. The bed was good and comfortable, wifi good, cable good. They have a nice breakfast buffet included. I would definitely stay again.

    « Really nice place »

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. I thought that Butte was a really pretty city. The room was clean and comfortable, the beds were great. Good pressure in the shower. Breakfast was fabulous. The pool and hot tub were nice, my husband and son used them. When we checked out and were about to leave I was in the hotel checking out and my husband was outside. A hotel employee came up to him and told him of and accident on the highway westbound so that if we were heading that direction he could tell him an alternate route. I thought that was very nice.

« Nice hotel with a great breakfast »

We stayed here on 6/16. The entrance is tricky to find coming from I 15 north, once you get off the exit get into the left most lane of local street. The hotel is on your left and set back from the road, it is behind the Perkins Restaurant. The check in was quick and friendly. We were in room 106 which was surprisingly quiet given it's location. Our room was clean and quiet. There is ample parking all around the buildings and smoking is allowed outside away from the entry door. There is no designated or sitting smoking area. There is a Perkins Rest. attached to the hotel. We ate diner there and it was good. There is a breakfast room down the hall from check in (near room 106).Breakfast was very good, better than most Best Western's. There was a large fruit, pastry and main entree selections. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

    « decent hotel »

The hotel is ok, but don't use the adjoining restaurant. There must be a Denny's around. We only stayed overnight. For the high ratings, I was surprised that it needs a little updating or deep cleaning. Our bathroom needed painting and the hallways were old.

    4
    « Great place »

This place was very clean and the breakfast selection was quite large. It is very long so the walk from lobby to your room can be about 2 blocks not kidding. Parking was good and front desk staff, excellent. Wifi at the far end non existent. It was better closer to Lobby. Lounge on site and attached to a Perkins, which is nice.

    « Great pit-stop Hotel »

Our family was on a road trip to South Dakota and needed a place to sleep for the night. We arrived late (close to midnight) and were able to get our room right away. The hotel was going through a bit of construction (new carpeting and trim), so things weren't 100%, but still nice and clean. The hotel is a bit interesting to navigate and is kind of spread out, but if you park your car close to your wing, you should be fine. Breakfast was ok...the sausage...avoid it. LOL! Tasted like old sneakers and our family isn't usually too picky about hotel food. We didn't get to try any of the amenities because we were on the road first thing in the morning. The location of the hotel allowed for quick access to the freeway and we had no trouble locating it. Within the very near vicinity (or within the same parking lot) is a gas station and a restaurant. There are a couple drug stores within a block or two making it very easy to make a quick visit. Overall, you can't go wrong with this one. Easy access, clean, safe, quiet rooms and halls.

This was a very good place to stay and would consider it at the top of my list of places to stay when next in the area. Would recommend it to all my friends. Altough the hotel is close the the interstate, the room was very quiet and we didn't hear the traffic, at all. The rooms were very clean and the beds were heavenly, heehee! The breakfast was perfect! Many great selections for everyone in our party. I'm diabetic and I had a lot to choose from, which was very nice! I loved the fresh fruit and even the mini bottles of Almond Milk. The front office staff were very warm welcoming and helpful with sharing the different things to do in Butte! If you stay here, I'm sure you and your family will be as happy as we were. ^_^ God Bless!

« Great breakfast, comfortable beds »

We stayed for one night and were very pleased with the beds, the breakfast and the pool. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in a hotel where it is included in the room rate. The breakfast room is also very nice. The only issue was we requested a roll away which could not be folded out anywhere in the room. We finally pulled the mattress off and put it on the floor between the beds. Everything else was so good we didn't mind!

    « TEMPERATURE NAZIS »

This hotel is very nice and clean. Unfortunately it has climate controlled rooms which don't allow the guest to set the AC below 72 degrees. I am extremely sensitive to heat and that is ENTIRELY UNACCEPTABLE for me. I called the front desk and tried to see if maintenance could do an override and adjust it, but they couldn't. I was so hot and uncomfortable that I hardly slept that night. It was awful. Such a shame, since it could have been a great place to return to on future road trips.

« Comfortable, Clean & Very Friendly Staff »

Rooms are typical size but they have some added comfort. Beds are really nice and comfortable. I liked that they have added a desk with a swivel chair & the lamp has outlets for your computer. There are also charging stations on a table next to the bed. Room has a small microwave and a nice size fridge. They also have a comfortable upholstered chair for reading and an extra bonus I really liked was a foot stool that rolls out from under the chair. So nice for a short person like me. Breakfast is included and they do offer a better selection than most chains. The hotel does aim to please. After breakfast if you want they will give you want they call a Grab & Go bag. It's a brown bag of munchies like fruit, some type of nutrition bar, small piece of candy and water. Nice little extra touch. I liked that all the employees were friendly and greeted us with lovely smiles, not just the front desk, from housekeeping to the front desk. Gives a good feeling to the atmosphere.

It was a pleasure staying at this motel. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable. After a long drive through Yellowstone National Park, this was a nice respite. I will stay here again when I go back the other direction across the country.

    « Best Breakfast - For Free »

The Best Western PLUS Butte Plaza Inn was a great place to stay. The hotel is clean and has a lot to offer, but what put our stay over the top was the free hot breakfast. The number of items and the quality was so great that it made the overall cost of my hotel stay an extreme value. I've paid $15 a piece for breakfast buffets like that! You don't expect to get breakfast burritos, corned beef hash, western omelettes, grapefruit with blackberries, waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, cereal, a yogurt bar with all the trimmings and more at a free hot breakfast. But at this hotel you do! Great way to start the morning!

« Friendly and attentive staff »

We were happily pleased with the attentive and friendly staff at the Butte Plaza Best Western. The room we stayed in were recently remodeled, cozy, clean and comfortable! We would definable stay here again and recommend this to other friends or family members.

« Stay in Butte, MT »

I was impressed with the number of outlets and usb charging stations in the room. Having to plug in two cpap machines each night and charging cell phones and other usb devices, it was very convenient. The laundry room was clean and convenient. All in all we had a very pleasant stay. The restaurant connected to the hotel was a Perkins. It was great to be able to stay indoors and walk to it.

    « Great breakfast »

Great place to stay. Full breakfast, with hot items, fruit, yogurt. Not the typical plain continental breakfast. Comfortable beds. It was a stopover on our road trip and only stayed 1 night, so we didn't really get to try the other amenities offered except for the breakfast.

excellent experience, arrived late staff was very helpful with settling us in and suggested places to have dinner.. Room was very clean and quiet so our over night stay was very peaceful and pleasant. Hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking near our room.

    « Clean and remodeled »

While the hotel lobby is very nice, and the rooms have been remodeled, the size of the room ..... very small. I would probably not return to this hotel just for that reason. Breakfast was ok, however the bacon was so greasy and the sausage was terrible. Suggest you change vendors for sausage.

« The BEST 3 star hotel ever! Gluten Free Breakfast! Avoid the attached Perkins! »

First, I am a die hard Marriott person (Platinum Status), so I was initially super disappointed that there wasn't a Marriott in Butte. I went into this stay with very low expectations. Boy was I surprised! Super clean. Super comfortable. Some of the best staff I've ever encountered. The highlight? BREAKFAST! Better than I've seen in the Executive lounges in 5 star hotels. Lots of options. Excellent proteins. Even a ton of GLUTEN FREE options. Where do you find that?? The Perkins attached was the low spot. Could someone please give the hotel breakfast lady a promotion to run this place?? I ate there twice, hoping the first time was a fluke. The first night I had a chicken salad where the chicken was hard as a rock. Like they were microwaved for an hour. The next morning, the food was better, but the waitress was the most inattentive I've experienced in a long time. I couldn't even get my water refilled. For real.

Always happy to get to Butte on my business trips because this hotel has been reliable every time I've stayed there for the past five years. Lots of great amenities and room for me to park the big horse trailer in the parking lot.

« Overnight in Butte, Montana »

It was quite obvious that renovations had been made since the last time we stayed there. We stayed on the first floor and it was very nice and quiet. Never heard any pets the whole time we were there. We saw some outside but they must have been staying on a different floor which makes more sense. Our bill was way more than it should have been and upon speaking to one of the staff members she advised us that it would be corrected. Upon checking this morning on line our credit card had already been adjusted. Nice place to stay. Would recommend it for sure.

Awesome Value! The room was very clean, Staff was very polite and they all were very friendly. Their Contential Breakfast was the best we have experienced - amazing selection!! ... Overall a very nice stay!

    « Breakfast was great! »

Breakfast was very nice staff was also. Room was comfortable, we were just passing through, would stay again. Give some bad info on the 800 number, but onsite staff had it together. Easy to find, good parking!

    « A pleasant experience »

A friend and I, who are retired, stayed in a 2 Queen room for our two night stay. It was clean and comfortable, nice bedding. I was worried about street noise when we checked in, but with the window closed, we heard not a sound. I was impressed! When we checked in, we were assisted by Melissa and another great staff member. They answered my questions and were very helpful, great assets to your brand. The breakfast room staffers were helpful, too. They were very kind and did a wonderful job of keeping the room wiped down and clean. We all like that!

    5
    « It's a plus. »

Nice room although a little small, helpful staff, clean and comfortable. Large property with pool, spa, workout center, etc. All are clean and easily operational. Breakfast was great. The attached bar, Hops is great with the option of ordering food from adjacent Perkins. We ate in Hops with a bottle of wine and ordered Nachos from Perkins. Better than eating at Perkins.

« This was a business trip and thought Butte sounded like an interesting place to stay. »

This BW had the best breakfast, lots of FRESH FRUIT, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, oranges, bananas, apples, watermelon, honeydew mellon, a blueberry/blackberry compote......it was great! Non of those full of sugar fruit cups that so many BW serve. And the rest of the food being served looked very appetizing. The breakfast room was very neat and clean and situated in an area of the hotel that faced the grass & tress. You had an option of sitting in the sunroom or the main breakfast area. It was a very pleasant experience.

« One of the Best »

I was booked in this Best Western one night for business and since I wasn't flying home between work weeks and because it was so nice and friendly, I stayed here Friday and Saturday night as well. Super friendly and attentive staff including housekeeping. Laundry, fitness room and pool. Great breakfast with lots of everything including fruits like Blueberries and strawberries. You can get so comfortable it feels like home. Very quiet for those of us who are night workers and day sleepers

    « Quiet and clean »

We stayed here on a return road trip between Arizona and Alberta. This hotel, although not fancy or new, is very adequate for those looking for a quiet, clean stopover. The free hot breakfast was really good, with a lot of choices, buffet style. I unfortunately broke my foot (on crutches) while in Arizona and the employee who was overseeing the breakfast buffet was very helpful and kind to me. This was the quietest hotel out of the five different hotels we stayed at on this trip. The onsite restaurant is mediocre at best from what we experienced.

    3
« Nice room but no heat »

We stayed there one night. It was a nice hotel, clean, easy to find. Only complaint is there was no heat. They offered us another room but when we asked to check the room there was no heat there either. My dig was shivering it was so chilly.

« the days of Miners »

Glad to have chosen to stay here as it was a good hotel. Probably has the best breakfast of any of the hotels and they should take a closer look and follow suit. The room was a little tight but the bed and linens made up for it. Only thing wanting was the Perkins restaurant attached. The pictures were better than reality. Would stay here again and also recommend to anyone travelling that neck of the woods

« Best Western in Butte -Best hotel on our trip! »

Fantastic breakfast. We also loved swimming in the pool which was very pretty with the windows looking out over the hills. It was very quiet and the staff was friendly and cheerful. We stayed at other hotels that had the same or similar costs, (not Best Western Plus) and this was by far our favorite. We will be trying other Best Western Plus hotels after this.

    « Service and helpfulness »

My flight arrived very late night at the local airport, tired and looking for a hotel I called the local BW directly and confirmed a room, told them I needed to get a taxi and I'd be right there. Waited 20 minutes for my taxi,(in a very small town), Upon my arrival I paid my cab fare $17 for a 3 minute ride, then I see a sign at the front desk for a 'free airport shuttle'. I should have been offered that service or discounted my room for their negligence. She saw me exit the taxi! SMH On the other hand the lounge service was great!

    3
« OK hotel, so-so free breakfast, nice bar »

This hotel was average at best. The free breakfast was not that great. The bacon and sausage seemed like it was cooked several days before and microwaved that morning, it was the consistency of shoe leather. The only redeeming trait was the bar inside the hotel, great drinks at a great price.

    « Clean, quiet & great breakfast »

We stopped for the night in Butte on our way to Glacier National Park. Check in was quick, and though we were early, personnel at the desk were pleasant and got us into a great room on the first floor. The room was clean, well-equipped with a couple bottles of water, plenty of coffee, toiletries, towels. We were most impressed with the delicious included breakfast, which had just about anything anyone could want, and hot things were hot, and cold items cold. They also had peanut butter cookies, which we got a couple of for the road. The hotel is in a great location, close to historic downtown. Highly recommend BW Plus Butte Plaza Inn if you are going to be in the area.

    « Fabulous breakfast included! »

The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Good mattress and bedding. Frig, microwave, and coffee maker were included in the room price. The bathroom was and had a separate vanity area - nice for room sharing. Quiet and peaceful. They only reasons I didn't rate the hotel as excellent is because the water wasn't as hot I as like, the room heat/AC didn't respond quickly, and the front desk was a bit slow. I know. I need to get over it. It was a very nice hotel. Don't hesitate to stay to stay here.

    « Sad Times »

We had to run to Butte for a family funeral and when we hit the Warm Springs area we ran out of gas and in Mid May there was a snow storm (white out)! We needed to get to Butte and found kindness from the Warm Springs state hospital maintenance man, he siphoned gas from his work truck to help us get to Butte! We needed to get dressed and cleaned up and run to the funeral. The nice staff at the hotel let us check in early so we could clean up. We enjoyed a nice clean quite relaxing room that night. Then rushing out of there in the morning I left my very expensive laptop in the room and did not realize it until later that night. I called them and they found it and mailed it post haste back to me. I paid for express postage and got it back safe and sound. We appreciated their great customer service and understanding!

« Great place to stay close to freeway »

Rooms are nice, clean, & staff was friendly & fast! Free breakfast & internet a plus :) Was close to freeway, great place for us, halfway between Minot, ND & Seattle area, WA! Kids enjoyed the pool. Great that there's a restaurant attached, if you don't want to leave!

« On The Road Again. »

Although dated, the premises are in fairly good condition. The staff was excellent, the room was clean, the bed was excellent and the shower was BEYOND excellent, however the heat/air unit was so noisy we turned it off, opened the window and listened to the freeway traffic. Not sure how well this would would work in the middle of winter or summer. The pub Hops, as part of the hotel, is attached and works in conjunction with Perkins to provide acceptable service for food and drinks. Bottom line? Value for the buck was worth the stay.

« Good place to stay in Butte »

After many stops in Butte at different Inns we choose the Best Western Butte Plaza due to its location and outward appearance. We were not disappointed! The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby was extremely lovely and the attached bar/casino was enjoyable after dinner. The breakfast are was attractive with and excellent selection. One of the best we have seen on our travels.

« This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. »

Because of a snowstorm and delay of our flight my daughter and I returned to the hotel. We were immediately given our room to rest in while we waited for flight info. We returned to the airport and when the flight was cancelled returned to the hotel. They gave us another room immediately and welcomed us back. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Butte.

    « Newly remodeled works! »

We've usually been hesitant about staying at Best Western hotels because our experience is un-renovated, not-new hotels. They suffered with old designs, old furnishings, and overall poor accommodations. This hotel was newly renovated, and surprisingly modern. From the front desk to the rooms, this is nice. The furniture is new, modern, and comfortable. Beds very comfortable. TV is new flat screen. Bathrooms remodeled and look fairly modern; tub is still old school and should have been removed.

    « Amazing Breakfast! »

Breakfast was great. Staff was on top of keeping breakfast area stocked and clean. Had to leave them a great tip even with the breakfast being complimentary. All else was average to a little above. Rooms were small but beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was small but shower pressure was amazing! Front desk upon arriving was very helpful and very welcoming where the next shift person who worked through the night was not so much. We would stay again if able to book at discounted rates.

We were very pleased with our stay at BW in Butte. The bed was comfy and the room had all the amenities that we needed including a microwave and fridge and free WIFI. The breakfast was the best free breakfast we have had at a BW property. The fresh fruit and omelettes were great!

« Nice staff at a nicely updated hotel »

We stayed here while passing through. This is an older property but has been tastefully updated. Clean room, very friendly staff. Even my husband was impressed with the variety of offerings at breakfast. Didn't check out amenities like pool or lounge, but nice to have available. Would be great for a family stay.

    5
« Great spot for an overnight! »

« Great sleep, great breakfast! »

We stayed here on our way to ARizona, had a great sleep in wonderful beds, and were pleasantly surprised to find a a good selection of foods at breakfast that were gluten free. So often this is not the case, and I go without anything till I open my cooler for the foods I brought. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we will certainly come again on our way to or from Arizona from Calgary.

    « Good nights sleep »

We stayed just one night but it was a very comfortable night. The lobby had 3 or 4 computers for customers as well as nice couches to enjoy the TV and fireplace. The bed was great, The room was very clean and quiet. Nice room with several lights which is a big thing when you don't see well . We will be staying here when we come to Butte.

    « Great place »

We have stayed at this Best Western in Butte, Montana previously. It is located conveniently to the freeway and has a Perkins Restaurant attached to the hotel. We had a very nice, accessible, comfortable room at a reasonable price. Even though we were traveling with two small dogs, we still had a beautiful room. There are some hotels that will stick you in a yucky room just because you have a pet with you! We will definitely stay at this property again. Very pleased with everything.

    4
    « Enjoyed our visits! »

Good quality, as is expected at a Best Western. Rooms are a bit small, but we were sleeping not living there. Breakfast buffet was better than expected, with a great selection of hot and cold food. It was the breakfast which convinced us to return on our homeward bound leg of our trip, well and the hot tub was a nice draw too after a long car ride. Staff varied, had a bubbly and helpful soul the first time, the second visit the clerk did his job but we were glad to get our key. I would go back again. If driving, look for coupon book at rest areas, great discount.

« The best Best Western »

We try to stay at this BW on our trip down and back from AB to AZ. It is the cleanest of all places we stay at and the breakfast is outstanding!!! It the breakfast that brings us back and what we look forward to in the mornings. Many thanks to the person responsible for putting in so much effort to give us a pleasant start to our day.

« Clean and rooms were nicely decorated but very small. »

Although the rooms were nice, they were very small. There is a Perkins restaurant on site, which is a bonus. A small casino and lounge. Staff was nice. I perfer a more open environment. This place is probably fine for those that don't care for a view or spacious rooms.

    4
    « Great hotel »

This is a nice older hotel that has been renovated and is very well done.the rooms are well appointed. The beds are very comfortable. In room coffee and fridge with some water was very nice. The place is clean and they have a good TV lineup. Very impressed with the rooms, lots of parking and they look after their platinum card holders. The breakfast is excellent with lots of fresh fruits hot and cold items as well. We always stay here and will continue to do so.

    5
« Clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet »

This is one of the best BW's we've stayed at. Rooms are well appointed, beds and pillows perfect, and unexpectedly quiet, considering close proximity to freeway and major roads. They allow pets but one would never know it. Don't miss out on freshly baked cookies in the afternoon at the front desk! Breakfast is quite good at constantly monitored and cleaned facility. Didn't walk away hungry for sure. We found this BW a little tricky to find from the freeway exit and almost wound up on the on-ramp going back on. Take the next left turn if coming off I-90/15, where u can only turn right. Entrance is set back a little from road - right next to Perkins Restaurant. I'll review it as well. As a BW guest you get a 15% discount on their already reasonably priced, and very good food.

    4
    « Not impressed »

There were many things about the property that are commendable. The rooms were clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was the standard to which all BW should try to emulate. There was a beautiful welcome poem. But the room was too small. We had Room 113. It was convenient enough but there was only space for one suitcase. This room would have been great for a single occupant. I was told that I should have complained upon arrival but that is not who I am. So others should now know that the management expects you to complain, or they will just give you the worst room in the house. That is the way management works here.

    3
    « overnight road stop »

Chose this hotel as we like BW for our stop on the way home for an overnight stay. Lobby is well appointed but rooms and hallways show the age of the building despite a recent reno. in room AC/heater was loud preventing having it on while trying to sleep. Breakfast was good with a good choice however using paper plates and cutlery, not so much. Average hotel for the price. External restaurants are chain type in close proximity to hotel.

    « Great Place »

We stayed here after being on the road all day. It was nice to stay at a place where we knew we would have comfortable beds for a much needed rest. The young woman at the desk made me feel like she really was happy that we were there. It was also nice to have a restaurant in the same building so we didn't have to travel anymore for the day. The room was very clean. This is a very nice hotel.

« Family road trip, stay in Butte »

Overall, a really nice hotel. The breakfast area was super nice, room spacious and pretty. Pet policy super friendly where pets stay for free, subject to a basic pet check prior to checking out. We had a problem with the room temperature control which would only cool... and wouldn't stop! We had to shut it off.

    « Loved it!!! »

Not fancy... But clean, comfortable and everyone there is super super nice and friendly. It was a great stay. If I find my way back to Butte this is where i will be staying. I recommend without any hesitation whatsoever. Absolutely loved my stay here.

    « SnowBird »

Nice to have the attached lounge to wind down from a long days drive, and attached to Perkins Restaurant a nice plus. New comfy mattress, King size. Enjoyed our stop, will stay here again. The Breakfast was a bit iffy. Couldn't drink the coffee, or eat the breakfast Taco's, but the eggs / bacon and such were just fine. The room smelled fresh, was very clean, a nice plus.

« Fantastic Place to Stay! »

The Butte Plaza Inn the perfect stop for any traveler. Warm friendly staff, on sight lounge/casino, expanded free breakfast or discount at the on site Perkins. The location is amazing with a shopping mall and theater steps a way and a gas station out front. I was also offered the hotel shuttle for an appointment as I was unfamiliar with the town, who could as for more? I highly recommend the Butte Plaza Inn.

« Fantastic stay in Butte »

We stopped at the Butte BW on two occasions during our drive to and from Palm Springs. On both occasions the service was excellent. The bartender at the Hops Bar was very friendly and gave us excellent accommodations on good places to eat in Butte. The hotel only had a Perkins restaurant. Rooms were excellent and very spacious. This one of the best BW's that we have stayed. I suggest that the Best Western organization use the Butte site as a case study: Invite the staff from other BW hotels to view how a hotel is managed right.

    5
    « Great Property! »

Everything was great! Nice room with comfortable beds, good internet, very nice pool, sauna, hot tub and very pleasant staff. Had a few beer at the nice on site lounge served by a extremely pleasant bartendress and had a great stay overall.

    « Fabulous Breakfast »

While the front end service was excellent, the rooms clean, spacious and modern, the best part of the stay was the outstanding breakfast! Not the standard Best Western fare but an upscale combination of European and North American...hard boiled eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, omlets, sausage, bacon, waffles, corned beef hash, a choice of hot or cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, the list goes on....then an entire section devoted to gluten free and lactose intolerant diets. And great coffee! What an impressive change!

« All the amenities are available »

After a hard, long drive what a great motel to stay. We try to stay at Best Western, but first time at a Plus motel. So good to just get all the extra's without even leaving the premises. Clean, friendly and will stay again.

    4
« I can always count on Best Western »

Have stayed at this motel, along with many other Best Westerns throughout Canada and the US, and can always count on clean rooms and friendly staff. Although some of them are older they are renovated and clean, and the breakfast is better than the majority of Motel breakfasts.

    3
« Nice hotel but our room was very small »

The king bed in our room left very little room to move round the room without running into your room mate. Maybe this was a first floor layout problem, so try a room on a higher floor. In addition, the HVAC was very, very noisy. On the good side, the staff were helpfful, the evening dinner at the attached restaraunt was inexpensive and good, the breakfast in the hotel was above average, there is a good hot tub and pooi, and super easy access to the Interstate higways.

    « Extremely disappointing for a BW »

This is hands down one of the worst Best Western I stayed in... It is really old, the room smelled humidity (I had to take my puffer multiple times), it is really not what I expected when I booked in a Best Western (especially not a Plus). The issues are also in the little details. It's a HUGE hotel, yet there's only one waffle maker in the breakfast area, the breakfast area is really awkward, putting the bacon in the back of the buffet plate which resulted in loud metal noise every time someone drop the metal cover (like every 30 seconds or so) trying to close it without getting burned, there wasn't any Kleenex box in the bathroom (which would be needed, given the humidity in the room)... I don't know. I was disappointed. I love booking at BW for their attention to details. This one is a total miss. If you are in transit like I am, I would strongly suggest to stop in Helena's Best Western instead.

    5
« Great place to stay! »

I really enjoy staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy and the staff is super friendly. They also have a nice bar on property that always seems busy and the appetizers are great. The shuttle will pick you up at the airport or take you somewhere you need to go in town. They also serve a great breakfast and if you are on the morning flight, will send you off with a bagged breakfast. Great stay!

    4
« I love it when you walk in after a weary day of travel and they address you by your name! »

Its all about the people and the service... always great. Love the attached Perkins restaurant....not a breakfast eater but love the lunch and dinner menu with room service...ahhhhhh relax! And have a glass of wine in the bar!

« If you are in Butte, MT »

The staff is great. 1st time we stayed, we were stranded due to car problems. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. They have a shuttle service available, connecting restaurant and lounge-all very convenient. 2nd time, the room heater blew cold air, and it was pretty cold. Didn't report it until check out., but they probably would have taken care of it right away if we had reported it the nig.ht before We just didn't want to bother with it

    « Wonderful hotel. »

While somewhat older, every effort has been made to update the property. The rooms were nicely done and very clean. The free breakfast was amazing both with regards to the food and the staff working there. I had my three children with me. The lady working there fussed over them and treated them like they were her grandkids. She was great. I certainly will be back and suggest you give the place a try.

« BW Butte Plaza Inn »

Just an excellent place to stay. Very well appointed and maintained facility. Restaurant located in the building. And the breakfast is the best with many choices. Easy access on and off the freeway. Located next to a shopping mall within walking distance.

Our future visits across the mountains to Butte, MT will certainly include a stay here!! Rooms were lux and clean. Great pool, spa and gym areas. Will certainly stay here again!! And the incorporated Perkins there is so handy for breakfast.

    « Best Free Breakfast! »

It was our first time staying at this hotel. We do try to stay at BW when we travel but it does come down to price. Especially when we are Canadian and paying rates in USD. This was reasonably priced and recently renovated. Very nice decor and rooms. So convenient to walk down the hall to Perkins for a meal. The free breakfast was one of the best of I have ever had. Fresh fruit along with other healthy options. Staff was great and rooms were comfortable and clean. Will definitely stay here again enroute to Nevada.

    « Staff was great »

We stayed here during the Stare basketball tournaments and I wanted to leave a good review for the maintenance guy Ken! I of course forgot the plug in part of my phone charger at home, so I tried using the USB end to plug into a charging port that they have in the rooms. Well ours was broken, so I called down to the office and asked if they happened to have any extra chargers that anyone left behind. They said they didn't find anything but sent maintenance up anyways. He came up and saw that it was not fixable, ran back down the hall and came back with his personal charger. He told me to just bring it down when I was done using it. Small gestures like that is going above and beyond! Thanks Ken

great hotel at great location. Has everything - pool, fitness center, Perkins attached, and great complimentary breakfast and internet. Definitely will stay here again when in Butte. Nothing negative to say.......

« Pleasant customer service from all the staff. »

The breakfast offerings was the best we have seen in our travels across Canada and the United States. We have travelled nine thousand miles in the last six months. The selection was superb and well presented.

    « Very Comfortable & Excellent Breakfast »

An excellent hotel especially for the price. Very clean. Breakfast has so many options with good quality hot and cold food. Beds were very comfortable. TV has every channel you can think of and also movie channels like HBO for no charge. Wifi had no problems. Nice pub/lounge within the hotel and Perkins is attached also. Pool area had a great dry sauna. Not the newest hotel but rooms were updated, pool was very nice and just an overall very accommodating place to stay.

« Pleasant customer service from Front Desk Staff »

The front Desk were very busy when I entered, however Jason took time out from taking care of the registering guests, to acknowledge my presence and to greet me. When his partner came on shift, he ensured to let her know who was next in line. I did not catch the Service Agents name who took care of me, but she was very pleasant and forthcoming. The room was nice, perhaps a bit of the 80's style, but clean. I do recommend the hotel, however I do not recommend the adjacent restaurant. The breakfast bar was plentiful and the hostess was pleasant.

    5
    « UNPLANNED STOP FOR A ROOM »

Conveniently located right off freeway. Perkins restaurant in facility. Check-in staff (Jason in my case) was very friendly and professional. Facility and room were spot clean. Wonderful breakfast spread in the morning. Six hot options; lots of fresh fruit; bagels, muffins, etc; waffle maker; pastries and the normal drinks. The customer service gal working in the breakfast room was friendly and very helpful. GREAT place to stay!

« My Butte, Montana, Best Western Experience »

Had a little difficulty getting into the hotel parking lot off the interstate, but once I was into the main lobby, I was well greeted by the front desk. Not sure if it was the time of the year (March), but there was no problem booking into a room without a reservation. My room was clean and smelled like it, loved the bed, plus full amenities. Large accommodations under one roof, Perkins restaurant, with a bakery, pies where awesome, complimentary hot buffet breakfast in the morning, Hops pub and casino, indoor pool and fitness center, lobby computer, and free wifi in the hotel everywhere, room service, there was even a small store for items that wheren't in the vending machines, and if you didn't bring enough cash with you, one could charge it to your room, what's better to like than that. I feel this one wasn't worth missing, comes highly recommended by me hands down for sure.

« Welcoming, Clean and Great Food »

The staff are all friendly, happy and lots of fun. The breakfast was great and the restaurant attached to the hotel was convenient and good food. The rooms are roomy, neat and clean but the staff is what made the stay so great.

« Stay weekly for work travel. »

I have to be in Butte weekly for work and prefer this lodging option for: Easy-to- access location, adjacent restaurant/shopping, professional staff. Nicely maintained, all amenities are quality and functional. Quiet rooms.

    « Great stay! »

Very much enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Butte Montana. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely appointed. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was second to none. Great selection and delicious. It was the best we have ever had at any other Best Western.

    5
    « Vacation »

I've enjoyed staying at Best Western Motels, most have been excellent. Butte had the best breakfast than any out on this trip. The staff were friendly and helpful when asked for assistance. The express check out doesn't give a zero balance so I checked with the front desk to get a print out of my statement with a zero balance.

« Best Western in Butte Montana »

My wife and I would recommend this Best western to everyone travelling through Butte. It is without a doubt the best place we stayed on this winter holiday. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and quiet and the complimentary breakfast also the best we had in seven years travelling as snow birds.

« Odd Hotel - Would not stay again »

This hotel is very strange in terms of layout... its a 2 level hotel, with multiple entrances, it seems like at one time it was an exterior corridor motel, that had the interior halls added. It was acceptable for a night over, but I would never choose this place to night over again. The staff was friendly, the location was convenient with many gas stations, restaurants, and more around. Easy access off I-15. The hotel has been renovated to a degree, however, I certainly did not feel it was fresh and modern. The pool is really bizarre... its made of stainless steel! (so weird) Our kids loved swimming in it, I choose not to. The wifi was good, and the room we had was nice and quiet. Parking was busy! Breakfast was delicious and nice that it was included so we could get back on the road.

    5
    « Lovely room »

Very nice hotel right of I-15. Liked the complimentary mouth wash, bottled water and make up remover. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. Check in and check out very efficient and courteous.

« Very nice and convenient »

This hotel has been recently updated. This hotel is very nice, both the lobby and the rooms. For the price this is a great place to stay. It's as nice as a high end hotel. It's very convenient because they have a decent complimentry breakfast but also has a Perkins diner attatched. I was very happy with my stay.

    5
« Staff so wonderful, free morning breakfast was great as well »

We stopped at the hotel in February on our way home from our winter camping holiday. Parking our vehicle and RV at the mall next door was convenient. The room was very clean. We don't like to stay in hotels with our small dog because we know that we have to stay in pet friendly rooms which are usually smelly. Our dog usually spends the entire time smelling the carpet. Not this time, it was a pet friendly room but it was just as nice and fresh as any other room. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast area was extremely clean and offered a lot of hot and cold items. Thanks for a great stay.

    « Basketball trip »

The hOTEL WAS GREAT. bEST WESTERN HAS ALWAYS BEEN A FAVORITE PLACE TO STAY AT. We always book a room at the best western before we look anyplace else, The hotel needs to implement a senior citizen rate because seniors are going other places for lower rates.

    « Trip advisory review »

The stay was very good overall. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfotable. The restaraunt was full and had adequate servers however It was short of chefs. Our meal was very slow. The room WiFi worked fine for internet sevice and receiving emails but I was unable to send emails. I have a Telus server. This is a common problem with every Best Western hotel. I have talked to BW reps and complained about it for over one year. Someone please get on the ball and fix it.

    « Valentines Day Disaster »

Won't stay here again, now we know to ask if youth sports teams are also staying at the time we book any hotel. No supervision or enforcement of rules, pool area was overrun and unusable, lost dog wandering halls, parents decorated all the halls for their sports team, sauna was filthy, so much for a nice weekend stay with my adult kids, won't be back.

    « convienient and hospitable »

    « Butte Montana »

We came to town for a basketball tournament. The hotel helped us block rooms for the entire team. Very close to each of the gyms we were playing at for the tournament. Very close to shopping abd restaurants in the town. Easy access off the interstate and not hard to find. Rooms were clean and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is pet friendly and we saw several others enjoy having there pets at the hotel. We would recommedn this hotel and if we comeback to Butte will stay here again.

« Butte Mt. Best Western »

Very good experience. Our company has us in hotels 250 nights a year and this hotel is by far one of my favorite ones. The customer service is excellent. I have absolutely no complaints and look forward to my next stay.

« Overnite stay while travelling. »

Nice place with good highway acess. Family frendly. Had all of the required amenities. Couldn't send emails from my Telus account. No help from front desk or IT call center. Ongoing problem for past year.

    4
« Great place to land »

The Butte Plaza is a well kept hotel. It is right off the Interstate, so very easy to get to. Check-in was a breeze, even though they were pretty busy at the time we needed to check-in. My room was clean, big enough, and was in great shape. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. While my room looked out at the Interstate, I never heard the traffic while I was there. If you are worried about traffic, ask for a room on the side of the hotel away from the Interstate. They provide a nice breakfast with hot items. It is a step up form a normal continental breakfast. If that does not suit your fancy, there is a Perkins restaurant adjoining the hotel. The hotel is not upscale and does not try to be. It is a good place to stay and a good value.

    5
    « Very nice stay »

I was impressed with the lobby, recently remodeled I guess. The room was nice, very clean and quiet. Breakfast was good--eggs, bacon, sausage, lots of yogurt & fruit. Much more robust than typical hotel free breakfasts. Location is good, right off the highway, but its kind of confusing that there is a Perkins restaurant kind of attached to it.

    4
    « Pleasant Stay »

This hotel is clean and has very kind staff. It also has amenities like sauna and heated swimming pool (awesome for winter seasons). Overall, my stay at this hotel is very pleasant. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I ever come to Butte again.

    « Feet Up! »

After hours with my feet on the gas pedal, it was a relief to find a BW Hotel, just off the I15 in Butte, Montana, where I could rest them. The hotel is clean, organized and very pleasant. A restaurant attached to the hotel meant that my tired feet didn't have to do a whole lot more work. The morning breakfast was one of the best I have seen at any BW Hotel and it invigorated me the next day of travel. Thank you to the staff.

« Very clean and good location »

I have stayed here a number of times going through Butte. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are very clean, and well equipped for travellers. It's in a good location off the highway near Harrison Ave. the main artery for Butte.

    3
    « To many dogs »

They put us in the same hallway with all the barking, whimpering dogs. Yes I have dogs but did not bring them with, therefor I should not have to stay next to them either. Or this motel needs to only have one hallway for dog owners, and place other guest in other hallways

    5
    « Great Hotel »

Staff were very pleasant and helphful. Use of the handicapped room was very much appreciated. The use of your wheelchair made it possible for us to enjoy the breakfast together. Would stay at this hotel again!

    4
    « Always a pleasant stay »

The staff is very accommodating. Breakfast items are great. Good presentation. Big spacious lobby and attached restaurant and Bar. If you're like me and don't want to drive after you park for after a work day to go eat this is the place.

    3
    « Friendly Staff »

This was our second stay at this hotel. It's a good location - easy to get to and close to a mall and restaurant. On our previous visit we had a nice updated King room but this time there was only an older double queen room available which was not as nice. The bed was comfy but we didn't care for the small pillows. And the WiFi was VERY slow - they definitely need to boost their signal. Lincoln at the front desk was great. A nice perk at this hotel is snacks in the lounge. We also had a good supper at the nearby restaurant.

    4
« Nice hotel in Butte »

Room moderate size.....could have been a bit larger and should have two easy chairs. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was very good with a great selection. Hotel has a nice bar on site as well as a Perkins restaurant. Staff were very friendly.

    4
« Very comfortable and clean. Great staff. »

We were driving cross country, tired and hungry. I made the reservation an hour before we arrived by cell phone. The hotel is attached to a Perkins. So although they don't have a restaurant in the hotel, the Perkins staff waited on our table in the BW lounge. Very cool since we didn't want to go back out and we wanted a drink! Clean, comfortable room. Good value as compare to other ?similar? hotels at the Butte highway exit. The breakfast was better than most. The staff both in the bar and for breakfast were very nice.

    5
« Great place and great value »

We stayed at this hotel and were very impressed with the layout, furnishings and cleanliness of the rooms, with the friendliness of the staff, and most of all with the quality and selection of the "free" breakfast. We'll be back many times on our travels down the I15!

    5
« Great overnight stay in Butte »

We stayed here both on our way down to and coming home from a stay in AZ. Clean, quiet rooms with fairly fast internet was all I needed and got. On top of that we had a nice dip in a pool, great free breakfast in the morning and very friendly staff. Was what my wife and I needed after some long hours on the road.

« Enjoyable Stay in Butte »

We found the Best Western Plus in Butte Montana to be a relaxed and friendly place to stay that is pet friendly. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the on site restaurant and lounge made it easy to get a good meal without leaving the hotel. Definitely the best hotel breakfast of our vacation!

« Thank you Hampton Inn for not taking us with our dog! »

Ok we were sent down the street to the Best Western from the Hampton Inn because the previous night we stayed at the Hampton Inn in Buffalo Wy and they accepted us with our dog the night before and we did enjoy our stay so, of course we were going to stay with them in the next town we stopped at.. Not no dogs they said the Hampton inn said in Butte! Thank you!!! this place was one of the most pleasant place's along our journey! from the easy check in to the shuttle to some place to eat dinner in a town we knew nothing about and the lousy service both times we tried to eat from the Perkins restaurant attached to the hotel..they had a great breakfast and everyone at that hotel was so friendly we decided to stay 2 nights instead of just the one! Would highly recommend !!

A very comfortable Hotel just off Interstate 90 the Butte Plaza offers the visitor good size rooms leisure facilities and an onsite restaurant. Pleasant staff make the visitor very welcome. The hotel itself is conveniently located near to the main interstate and a variety of shops and stores making it a great stopover when on a road trip.

    « Pretty Good »

Very clean and nicely appointed. A little small. HVAC didn't work right. We kept trying to cool the room down, but the temp just kept increasing, even after turning on the AC! We finally just turned the unit off. Even though it was below zero outside, we couldn't get the below 75. We like to sleep at about 68.

« Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer! »

We're on a 3 month business trip so this was just a one-night stay on our way from Salt Lake City to Billings. Pulled in and we are diamond members so we were upgrade to a suite. Great room. All kinds of nice little touches that you just don't find in so many places. We stay in hotel rooms probably 9 months of the year for business and this Best Western was exceptional. Catlyn at the reservation desk could not have been friendlier or more accomodating. They have a free shuttle and Zack our driver who drove us all the way to the other side of town to a restaurant we wanted to try was great and funny as well. The property itself had indoor pool and spa (wish we had time to use it with the snow outside!) and there was also an onsite pub and restaurant. They also had a great breakfast and there is also a Perkin's Restaurant right outside and Perkins always has good food. We want to come back and explore Butte more next time. It was just supposed to be a pass-through for one night, but it seems like a fascinating little city. Thanks to everyone at the Best Western! Oh...one other thing. I mentioned attention to detail. As we were leaving we chatted with some of the housekeeping staff. They were cleaning a room. They had pulled furniture away from the walls and were cleaning BEHIND the furniture!!! They said it was for regular "deep cleaning!" That's something you don't find at even many of the finest hotels. Best Western is tops!

    « Great stay »

Check in was fast and easy. Clerk was informative. Walked in room to find two free full size waters one in fridge all ready chilled. Free wifi.. Ate at their restaurant Perkins.fast clean and very good food, awesome hostess. Bed was firm and had six pillows. Clean! Tons of channels on tv to choose from.clean bathrooms! Couldn't figure out thermostat but that's operator error and not hotel fault. They also offered free town paper at your room

    « pet room »

Very comfortable beds, free wifi, two free bottles of water, fridge and microwave, easy access for pets, very clean rooms, great staff and super breakfast!! Love the pet policy....they check the room with you before you leave instead of a pet fee. Keeps responsible pet owners able to travel with pets!! Had a little trouble with keeping the heat regulated but just opened a window instead of asking for maintenance so can't say it was a problem on their part. It was just a one night stopover for us but we'll be staying again!!!

« Perfect stopover for this trip »

Winter driving from Walla Walla via Spokane and the passes (4th of July, Lookout, etc.) on I-90 en route to Red Lodge, Montana, I found the Best Western Plus in Butte to be the perfect place to stop for the night (the entire trip being circa 12 hours). Access to/from my vehicle to hotel and room was very handy despite the snow. Also enjoyable were the friendly staff and both quality and cleanliness of the room.

« Our Awesome Evening in at the Best Western in Butte, Mt. »

We are on our way to warmer weather for the winter and we usually stay in Butte, MT. for one night and Cedar City, the next night and then we arrive at our destination the next day. When we travel we leave around 7:30 am and drive till 6:30 or 7 pm so of course, are tired when we arrive. The young lady that greeted us at the front desk was awesome. We had a very nice room, truly enjoyed the restaurant right inside the hotel, and couldn't believe how wonderful the ladies were at the continental breakfast that were there all the time we were and kept checking on us to make sure everything was good. Check out was quick and easy and we really enjoyed our stay there and will be back on our way back to Canada.

    « Always Faithful »

I travel for business under a restricted rate which makes it difficult to find rooms at many of the business customer hotels. The Best Western always comes through with good quality, good breakfasts and friendly staff. I can always count on them to have room for me no matter what time of year.

    « Passing Through Butte »

We arrived late in the day. Check in was quick and easy. The reception attendant was helpful and pointed us to the attached restaurant. Our room was comfortable and the rate was reasonable. Our stay was one night and we would recommend this hotel to others.

« Great breakfast, average room »

Hotel is older, but adequate for a stopover on a car trip. We did have one big problem and that was with the heat. The room was way too hot and we could not cool it down. I even ran the ac for awhile, but it was too noisy to leave on. I shut everything off, but it never did cool down which was strange since it was below zero outside! But all was forgiven when we went to breakfast-certainly the best spread I've encountered in a free buffet. The homemade (so they said and I believe it) breakfast burritos were delicious. The oatmeal was excellent and they had fresh blueberries to add which were most unexpected in late November. The Perkins Restaurant is attached so we ate there for dinner so we didn't have to go back out inot the bitter cold. They give hotel guests a discount, so that worked out well.

« Snowbirds on the Move »

The room was clean, comfortable and pet friendly. It had all the in-room amenities we required and more. The room was conveniently located to access the outside facilities for our two small dogs. The restaurant located just off the lobby provided good food, with room service, for a couple of exhausted travelers. We have stayed here before and will stay here again.

First time staying at his hotel it is a large property and is a little older some upgrades on the rugs and some painting might not hurt in spots but the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Nice little pub/bar attached and the restaurant is as expected. pool was good fitness room good. staff was very good and the breakfast was on of the best included one I have had in my travels with many options fresh fruit, eggs, ham, turkey and cheese plate, burrito's etc. I am not sure if that was normal or just for the Thanksgiving weekend but it was very good

Great hotel, super-nice, helpful staff. We really enjoyed their wonderful breakfast, and found that they have a very fair pet policy: they inspect the room before you leave, and if the pet has not caused any damage, there is no pet surcharge!

    « Very comfortable hotel »

We have stayed at this great location a couple of times. They have a beautifully appointed lobby, great front desk staff and the rooms are very comfortable. However, the breakfast was fabulous with a number of choices for a hot breakfast including corned beef hash, eggs and homemade burritos....delicious. This hotel is also very handy to I15.

    « Excellent budget hotel »

Found this place on a road trip, and we were very pleased! It was super clean, the concierge was very patient and helpful (there had been some problem with our last minute online booking, but they figured it out and helped us), and the free breakfast was much better than expected.

    « just ok »

Room was very tired updates needed very much to sink/bathroom, carpets very worn, We had a "pet room" and i felt these rooms are set aside for people with dogs that make a mes. I like a nice room, my dog is not messy and i ensure we leave the room as we found it...Even though they dont charge for pet room, they do a walk through before you check out which is fine. The staff were friendly

    « Great Overnight »

We stop here on our way to and from Alberta. The rooms are older but the location is excellent, service is great and breakfast the best of any B&W we go to. We were disappointed we were charged $10 for a collapsible crib we needed for our 7 month grand-daughter which is not a charge we have seen at other locations.

    « Awesome Hotel! »

Traveled through Butte on our way to AZ for the winter and stayed 2 nights. Check in was quick and simple, and we were very impressed with the renovations made in the lobby. Becca at the front desk was great. She overheard my husband and I talking about spending the next afternoon exploring and antiquing in the uptown historic district, and she took it upon herself to bring us a list of some antique shops and their addresses. The shuttle driver handled the icy roads like a professional and brought us to Casagranda's for dinner. The breakfast room had more choices than I have ever seen in a BW hotel. The rooms were very clean. There is also a bar and Perkins restaurant on site which is a nice touch. Tabitha at check out was also very friendly and efficient. This hotel clearly knows what they are doing when it comes to hiring their staff! Would highly recommend this hotel!!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Plus in Butte on a very cold night. The hospitality warmed us through and through. This property is the best-managed hotel we have stayed in in a very long time. The staff is more than friendly and helpful, the rooms a clean and well-maintained. The breakfast room was so well organized, with plenty of friendly help and the food was great. They are truly making sure that the mission statement of the property (which was left in our room) is carried out to the letter. We have stayed in much more expensive hotels in our travels that weren't anywhere near as nice or well-managed as this property. I would stay there again if we were back in Butte.

I had a printed voucher for the entire cost of the room I had booked----I used our Best Western Points--my husband recently passed away and I was assured by several people handling the Best Western Points reservation that although the points were in Gordon's name - I would be good to go with no issues, as long as I printed the voucher-which I did. Upon arrival a very nice young man, manning the check in desk explained that I only had 8,000 points and the room I booked took something like 22,000 points - so I would have to pay for my stay. I said---the only reason my points are down to that amount is because I used them to book this room-and the voucher clearly states that. He looked puzzled-said he would go check-but he was certain that I needed to pay for the room. It took at least 1/2 hour of me waiting-feeling very uncomfortable - with my driver waiting in the vehicle. Finally-after much back and forth and phone calls-I was told-whoops-yes indeed your room is covered by this voucher-and he proceeded to say-he had never seen one of these before---honestly--as a front line employee - he should have been aware. He was polite-nonetheless-it was a very uncomfortable situation indeed.

    « A first class accomodation! »

All of the service, the room and the ammenities were exceptional and we look forward to our next visit. A great pool & hot tub and a wonderful breakfast. The location in Butte is excellent with close by shopping. Even a Perkins restaurant is within the facility.

« 11 days in Butte made comfortable »

Business trip to Butte made easier by comfortable, spacious room at this hotel. Fridge, microwave, Kuerig coffee/tea and wifi. Having the Perkins on site and getting a discount with room key also very nice. Hotel centrally located to alot of restaurants and business we were working. Great staff, cheerful and helpful.

Great hotel. Staff were friendly and professional. would stay here again. The resturant was part of the hotel so no stepping outside. The morning breakfast was ready early and was one of the best I have tasted. The hotel is walking distance to the mall and a quick trip to the airport.

« Butte Plaza Inn Room »

Nice room, clean and comfortable with a restaurant attached which proved to be a benefit, as once we had been in our room we didn't have to get in a vehicle and drive around looking for dinner. We found the room quiet and were not disturbed by noise and roadside traffic. Thank You

« The room was well appointed. Very comfortable king bed; nice amenities; bathroom was exceptionally clean. »

Friendly staff; no problem with reservations. We enjoyed the great buffet breakfast and complimentary newspaper. There was a nice variety of foods and offered something for everyone's taste. The room was great and very clean, and we would definitely consider this property again. We had a king suite; however, an additional comfortable chair would have been appreciated since if there are 2 people, someone has to sit on the bed to watch tv. There was one club chair and a desk chair. Highly recommend dinner at the Club Montana (awesome steaks).

« The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly »

I did not choose this hotel, my company did, so I cannot say anything about the reservation process, but check in was a disaster. When my colleagues and I walked up to the counter, Betty and Shianne were too busy working on paperwork to look up. Shianne finally did assist me and it was one of the most painful hotel check ins of my life. There was no concern for finding me a quiet room - just rushing through. Meantime, Betty is ignoring the two people waiting behind me to check in, but does assist other people who arrived later. On my way to my room, I slipped and fell on the floor in front of the elevator. The next morning, I reported this to the office and filled out a report. NO ONE EVER followed up with me - that is amazing to me. Glad that you do not care that I was hurt at your hotel. The room itself was adequate and relatively clean, but could have been better. Just a standard room - nothing special. Breakfast was over crowded with no where near enough seating. Checkout was interesting - no one seemed interested about my experience. I will not stay here again.

    « NEEDS A FACELIFT »

This hotel needs a face lift. the staff was friendly and helpful. but the bedrooms were old and tired. we stayed in a dog friendly room. It smelled like the carpet hadn't been cleaned in a long while. the bedding looked worn. and, the breakfast was one of the worst we had at a best western......and, we've stayed at a lot of best westerns...

« Good Place to Stay »

BW Plus Butte Plaza is a really nice place to stay. Three things stand out: 1. It is very pet friendly. Instead of charging a pet fee to everyone, they charge nothing if your pet does not cause problems or damage the room. They do this through a pet check-out procedure where they view the room prior to check-out. It merely adds two to five minutes to the time required to check out. 2. They have the best breakfast buffet I've seen at a Best Western. Really tasty with lots of choices. 3. The rooms themselves are very nice and the staff could not be any more accommodating.

    « Best ever »

This hotel/motel was one of the best we have ever stayed in. The décor great the staff so very pleasant and helpful and the room very comfortable. I can't say enough good things about the breakfast that was presented to us. The variety of fresh fruits, cereals, eggs, hot food, waffles, plus cheese, ham etc. There was an abundance of bread items, juices and lots of coffee. I highly recommend Butte Plaza Best Western.

    « Clean & Comfy Room »

We have stayed at this hotel for seven years every fall time when we travel down south to Yuma Az for the winter. We love that it is so clean, comfortable beds, nice decor, and a great free breakfast. The Perkins restaurant is in the same building & has a nice selection of food on their menu. You will also get a 15% discount when you show them your room card. Its so nice cause you do not have to leave the hotel premises & drive anywhere for supper..

    « Average stay »

Although we had requested and confirmed connecting rooms, upon arrival, they did not have connecting rooms, just adjacent. Rather disappointed when we call first to make sure they have connecting rooms...anyhow. Even though the carpeting was rather disgusting. The bed was comfortable. Noisy with incoming people late in the night. We had originally planned on staying only one night in town, then after doing a tour in town, we decided to stay another night. We were able to find a hotel in town with connecting rooms and stayed there for our second evening. Breakfast was good here with a variety of proteins and carbs, fresh fruit. Pet friendly, although we didn't have any pets, we had one neighboring four legged friend push open our door and say hi!

Hotel was fine, same any any other trying to get your business. Better than most when staying in Butte, Mt. Could have less carbs on the breakfast menu, lots & lots of bread items. Great fruit selection, fresh fruit at that. Staff was wonderful.

« Can't Go Wrong with a Best Western Plus »

I'm a big fan of BW and, no, I'm not on their payroll. There (generally) aren't any surprises, but there aren't any disappointments either. They are a solid hotel, always clean, comfortable, with pleasant staff and a hot breakfast. Their free wifi doesn't always work, but that's about my only negative. This location has a nice indoor pool and spa, along with a workout room and for meals, there are a few restaurants either within walking distance or a short drive. Really liked its close proximity to the highway too.

    « Great Hotel »

Can't miss with the Best Western in Butte, MT. The hotel was classy, our room was spotless, beds comfy, and staff friendly and helpful. Had a great pool and hot tub to work out the kinks from being in a car for 12 hours. And breakfast rocked!

    « Another Best Western »

Other than an achy neck from the pillows we had another good nights stay with Best Western. The breakfasts are always a nice added convenience. Rooms could have been a little larger. Didn't use pool so can't attest to that experience.

    « Great accommodating employees »

The bed was comfortable and the motel was very clean. I had a problem with my lap top and I believe it was Sarah who assisted me. She did a great job and got my computer up and running. Jason was very courteous. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay again. Thanks for a pleasurable stay.

« Comfortable and great staff »

We stayed on our way home after being on road 3 weeks. comfortable room, bed. Helpful front desk. Quiet and was able to get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good, good variety and had hot protein items, which some motels lack. We travel with our devoted dog. It was great that pets were allowed.

    « Just okay. »

We recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Motel in Butte, Montana. The bed was good & comfortable. The room had a rather strange smell in it. The price also seemed a little high for what you got. But on the bright side, when you stayed there, you got a 15% off coupon to use in the attached restaurant, Perkins. The people at the front desk were very cheerful, helpful, & friendly.

« Great Place to Stay »

We plan our trip south each year and make this hotel our first stop. At the end of the day after a long drive it is so nice to stay here and be able to relax, have a good supper, a local beverage, and be treated like a preferred member of the family.

    « Great service. »

This was a great place to stay. We had not made a reservation, but were treated great. We had a great location close to a door for luggage handling. The continental breakfast was very good, and had a nice selection of breakfast items.

    « Nice stay »

Check-in, room cleanliness, and night's sleep were good - just what we look for in a hotel and Best Western served it up again. Nice job to all at this location. Not the most modern, but the bed was good, room clean, and everything was in working order with one exception. The sink drain was slow. A little thing, but it amazes us how this happens with so many people looking at it on the housekeeping staff - run a little water, open/close the drain, if it is slow call maintenance. Simple, right? A shout-out to the maint person who was called to deal with the tv/cable that didn't work at first. He arrived in less than 10 mins, knew exactly how to troubleshoot it, and had it working in another 10 min. Friendly and courteous, too! Thanks
