Customer reviews
We were having our apartment repainted and it was great to have a short break close to home. Your reviews should allow for shorter, succinct comments and not require guests to make up additional remarks.
Excellent staff, extremely clean, very economical and easy to access. My grandson and I unfortunately became very ill with a stomach bug during the night and him being only 3 pretty much soiled ever piece of linen in the room. The staff were so kind and understanding and thankfully made check out quick and painless for us do we could get home.
On the positive side, the hotel is reasonably clean, has a pool and fitness center and the rooms are quiet. On the negative side, some of the furnishings are showing their age, the plumbing needs a serious overhaul to reduce the noise level and provide better water pressure and the breakfast area is far too small for a facility of its size. Overall, not a bad experience, but a tad pricey for what you get.
At check in we were greeted warmly, recognized as Rewards Members and told that our request for room location was granted. The gentleman at the desk even came into the hall to direct us in the correct direction towards our room. It was a great welcome! Breakfast was plentiful, warm and fresh with a good variety. It was a very positive experience and we will return
Rooms are very spacious, hot breakfast was delicious, kids loved the waffles! Beds are super comfy, and staff were very friendly. Price was well worth it, we've stayed preciously and enjoyed the pool and hot tub with the kids.
Clean rooms, Friendly staff, reasonable rates. Only downside is there is nothing near by within walking distance so you have to cab it or have a rental. The breakfast was ok, the bed was comfortable..
I "last minute" booked an overnight, and was pleasantly surprised with my overall stay. From check-in to an unhesistant late check out request was seamless, easy and enjoyable. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail for the traveller. Everything was a cut above what I expected: in-room (good) coffee service, generous toiletries, plenty of outlets for work, dim/bright lighting options, comfortable bed with lovely linens for a perfect night's sleep. The staff were friendly, helpful and the hotel's vibe was both comfortable and peaceful. The spaces both rooms/public areas were clean and well-maintained. The dining area and offerings were also above the standard I've seen, they to do everything to make a guest feel welcomed and taken care of in every way. It was a simply the "best" kind of guest experience for what I required. Thank you!
This place was clean rooms were excellent, staff was very friendly. Overall the hotel is very good. Location is excellent right by the highway. Sleep quality was good. Lots of parking. No complaints. Highly recommend this hotel
What a wonderful staff!!! All were friendly & welcoming. Breakfast was tasty & food was warm even for later mealtime. Rooms were nicely decorated & comfortable. The hotel was very clean. Good highway access.
Honestly I have seen 4 and 5 stars hotels and it wasent better then this one that is quoted 2 stars so I would stay there again no doubt . The staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are extremely clean. Even the parking is clean cut
We had a suite with 2 Queens, a pullout couch, living room and small kitchen area, which was perfect for our family of 5. The pool and hot tub were open until 10pm which our family loved, and the breakfast which was included in the stay, was very good (larger and more options than a typical continental breakfast). Staff were also very kind and we would definitely stay at this location again! There are also great restaurants options near by and if you ask the front staff, they will give you coupons for free appetizers at The Keg and Jack Astors.
The room had been deodorized and it smelled a lot. I wear a cpap and the next night when I got home I could still smell it. Gross. The tv kept going on & off every hour or so during the night as if it was updating or something, a grey screen for 30 seconds then it would go off, very distracting. Highway sounds are very noticeable. I'll try somewhere else if there's a next time.
Always a pleasant stay, nice staff, rooms are clean, complimentary breakfast was nice and a bonus. Internet was fast unlike other places i stayed at and TV channel guide is one of the best as well. One small con, water pressure is a little weak but still adequate.
Second time in Canada and I've stayed in the same hotel, staff are always lovely and welcoming. One of the staff members remembered me from last year and was so happy to see me again! Couldn't fault the staff at Burlington whatsoever. Always accommodate your needs.
The rooms were clean, and the staff was really helpful. The breakfast options were really good. I would return since the prices were economical, and the location was convenient for our family. Nice indoor pool!
Guest rooms were clean, pool was warm and large, staff responded quickly to any needs such as additional towels. The ice machines in the entire building were out of order but they were up and running in a few hours.
This motel has the cleanest rooms we've ever stayed and best breakfast we've ever experienced in our travels. We were in thenarea for a funeral and the friendly staff gave us a good rate. The staff was friendly, understanding and respectful.
Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Room was clean and had everything we needed. And we loved the continental breakfast and pool; definitely worth the price. My friends and I plan to stay there next year for our yearly trip.
Generally, I have few expectations of a hotel. I'm content if there's a comby bed and a warm breakfast. A modest fitness centre is a bonus. In this case, this place satsified all. But when I stepped in the shower, I was disappointed to find the tub drain was clogged and the water at my ankles by the end. In addition, the toilet was a bit wonky with that unsettling sideways slide. I wanted to notify the front desk attendant but I neither saw one on the way to breakfast nor afterwards as I hurridely checked out.
EXCELLENT HOTEL! clean, modern, very comfortable bed and great rate in January. Good full breakfast included as well. Close to downtown. Highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again!
We stayed at this hotel during the day while we had renovations done in our house. They accommodated us with our 3 Pugs. The front desk staff were very good and made our stay enjoyable. The room was large and clean. Parking was free and we were able to access our room easily from the parking lot. There was no restaurant or room service onsite but we were able to access a wide variety of food delivery services. We will definitely recommend this hotel when family and friends come to visit from out of town.
We visit Burlington at least twice a year to visit our children and grand children for the past 20 years. The hotel is located roughly 20 minutes from 3 of the families. The hotel is reasonably priced and service is very good.
Enjoyed a relaxing stay at the hotel. Found the hotel convenient and economical when attending a meeting in downtown Toronto. Easy access to the highway and the GO train. Facilities are clean and well tended to. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the facility and the local area/
I usually wake up at least once a night at home, but not here. Slept like a baby. The water pressure could be better, but it is a hotel. Breakfast was good, lots of choices for adults and kids. Highly recommended
We stayed over the weekend, through shower did not have enough pressure to use, and what little pressure it had only worked with no hot water. Tbey offered to mive us to a downgraded room from our suit, but that room also had no water pressure and lacked the fridge and microwave that we booked the suit for.The pull out couch bed was also so low quality it was unusable. It is certainly NOT suitable for 2 adults. The bed sagged and slanted into the couch so you had to sleep at the other end to avoid a head rush. We ended up with just having 3 adults in the King bed and one on the couch folded back up. We also spoke to the desk about a late checkout, and were told 12pm was the latest we could be offered. 12pm was no problem so we accepted. At 11am we had employees knocking on the door and calling the room to advise us that check out was at 11am and asking if we were extending our stay or checking out.
I am very satisfied with my stay in Best Western Plus Inn/Suite. My family enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and the breakfast buffet is superb. I would definitely recommend this hotel. If ever there is another out of town getaway and we need to book a hotel, we would surely consider booking our stay here in Best Western Plus first.
Location is very convenient as it is quite near the highway. Free breakfast is very good. However, the air conditioner and heat pump is very noisy, just lime airplane engine making us difficult to sleep. Staff are nice. Hotel is pet friendly, so we hear the dog which is a few room away from us barking all evening.
From the second I connected with Shaunice for our reservation to the second I checked out with Kristen,it was a 12 outta 10. Excellent service, spotless room, the bed was AH-MAZE- ING! THANK YOU so much.
Hotel staff is always welcoming ,looking to make you're stay is the best .always clean rooms and clean pool and jacuzzi .breakfast is a great way to start you're day here .I always have a great stay ,I can't wait to come back
We stay here when we are in town on business. It's close to everything and the breakfast is pretty good. The rooms are nice and quiet. My only complaint is the televisions are old. No HD and no streaming services available.
We can't say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - especially Shaunice and Katelin. The room was very comfortable and clean with lots of space to spread out. Lots of choices for breakfast, including hot items. For anyone traveling in the Toronto/Niagara Falls area, this would be a great choice. An easy drive to the falls and a lot more economical.
I have unofficially changed the name of this place to the we will get to it when we get to it hotel. The faucet was busted, I checked the shut off valves and they weren't the problem it was the tap. They also have the policy now you have to call book house keeping in advance. Wtf pay your staff and let them work.
The rooms were comfortable and the staff were brilliant . My only issues were the small-sized dining area and the pull-out sofa bed being a bit uncomfortable , but overall , quite a nice experience . Keep it up
We recently traveled from Wisconsin to visit family in nearby Hamilton and had to bring our cat, who needed medicine twice per day. We booked a pet friendly room for her home base. The room was clean, enough room for her to run and play and as it was on the ground floor, I was a little worried it might be noisy. Not a problem at all! It was a great base for her, and for us, and conveneint to so many things. Thanks for much for a great stay, we'll look forward to seeing you again next time we visit.
The location was excellent. Great service. Very clean. Great amenities. Definitely will stay here again and highly recommend it. Rooms contained microwave and small refrigerator. Everything you need for a trip away from home. Great recommendations from staff. Enjoyed the amenities.
Room was clean, staff was very friendly. Breakfast was well stocked all 3 mornings. Room could get crowded, but not much that can be done about that. Good location for what we wanted to do in the area. Would stay here again. My only suggestion would be to switch up the hot option (maybe bacon instead of sausage all three mornings) and perhaps some sitting areas outside (bench, picnic table etc) The weather was lovely and it would have been nice to take coffee outside when the breakfast room got full.
We just needed a place to rest our heads for the evening, they are close to the action of Toronto, but far enough away from the craziness. I am glad we decided on the Best Western in Burlington. Everyone was beyond accommodating and extremely pleasant to interact with. The rooms were clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family. We will be back.
I have stayed at this hotel many, many times since 2017. I used to live in Burlington but moved out of town. Family still lived there so we have used this particular hotel alot. It has significantly gone down hill. It is not as clean or is the same shape it used to be. Along with that, I was sadly disappointed that gift bags for wedding guests staying did not receive gift bags that we dropped off by groom (my son) and bride the day before most guests even arrived. I myself was there for 3 days and never received mine even when I personally handed in my key cards. When my son told my that several people did not receive there's I called and was told they were sitting behind the desk. My son-in-law luckily was in Burlington for the day and was able to retrieve them. This home away from home is no longer that anymore.
The place was very full and the physical plant has trouble handling the crowds. Breakfast was esp. disappointing with the single staff member overworked and the food ran out. The room was not clean and people needed to eat in the lounge. All of this may be pandemic related. Also there was a group outside talking until 1:30 am. On the other hand , it is very convenient and the staff at the main desk helped us figure out the traffic to the US.
Best Western is close to many stores and restaurants. Everything was about 2-10 minutes away from the hotel making which was extremely convenient. Hotel is clean and maintained nicely. Would love to use the swimming pool on my next visit!
If I could give this hotel a 0 then I would. Worst ever hotel. The hotel staff are rude and patronising. The manager tried to apologise however this was still not acceptable. The toilet was dripping water all day and night. The breakfast was served with plastic cutlery, I didn't know we where in a psychiatric hospital.. and the breakfast was basic of basic, I got better airplane food than here. Just would not ever go back here again. Worse hotel ever
Clean, comfortable room, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was conveniently located close to the relatives we were visiting. Our grandson was pleased with the swimming pool. We have often stayed here and will do so in the future.
Nice and Quiet. Staff very friendly and professional. Hotel Location the best and fitness center got all equipments and pool . hot pool adds fun to the stay. Recommending to stay here very close to Toronto and quiet. access to all the nearby stores and public transportation.
This location is equivalent with 3 to 3.5 star locations anywhere. I've traveled from coast to coast in USA, also traveled to Hawaii, South America, Puerto Rico, London, and Philippines, so I feel confident in expressing my opinion that this location is the BOMB.com!
Stayed here for mother's day weekend. Son had a basketball tournament. Overall stay was good. Did not receive towels as requested several times. But finally got some clean fresh ones the next day...Hot and cold Breakfast Eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, cereal, bagels etc. Front desk staff was polite and friendly. Convenient to where we needed to go.
Was Woken up abruptly at 6:30 am And asked Multiple times After giving an answer, whether or not my room was leaking water which clearly had no water Leaking from my door. Also was charged 2x for this same visit!!
Nice hotel close to highway and restaurants. Very clean and a good hot breakfast. Rooms are up to date and very comfortable. This facility has a pool and hot tub which again is well looked after. Close to shopping and entertainment.
We booked on hotels.com stayed here for my son's basketball tournament and Mother's day weekend. Friendly front desk staff. The price was a bit high $217 with taxes a night. . There was only 2 towels in my room when my room was a suite. I asked for towel at 8am and was told they're in the dryer and to wait an hour. I went down for breakfast ( typical breakfast eggs, sausage, waffles, cereals, bagels etc) so we went to the pool. Has indoor pool and hot tub. You can literally see dry dead skin and oil in the hot tub. I don't know how often it gets cleaned. On my way up I asked house keeper again she said there's none.. at this point. I was speechless. Why do they have short supplies of towels. This is Best Western not a motel!! Well the standard it's like a Quality Inn. Basically Best Western Logo was slapped on here. Would I stay here again? No.
Booked a stay for a wedding. Staff were great, they were friendly and accommodating. rooms were clean, quite and spacious. Breakfast was included with our visit. would recommend staying at this location.
The amenities were great, the staff extremely helpful, check in and out went without a hitch. The room was large and everything I needed was available. The hotel was in a perfect area where I could come and go to whatever I needed, especially to visit my family who were just three minutes away.
This hotel is in a convenient location, near many restaurants and malls. We enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, and left after a complimentary hot breakfast. Phone ahead if you wish to book a dog- friendly room.
Booked this hotel to move our daugther out of residence at Macmaster University. Easy 15-minute drive to Hamilton. Super convenient location right off the QEW / HWY 403 and is close to tons of amenities that we used - Home Depot, Ikea, WAl-MART & Costco.- and lots of food options in the area. I liked the easy parking compared to our previous downtown Hamilton hotel with a parkade. 2 minutres from room to car. The hotel has been updated, is clean, and has a decent breakfast. Would definately stay here again when we are back.
Overall atmosphere was a great experience. All employees were friendly, pool was clean, the room clean with amenities well stocked (if needed), bed was comfortable. The breakfast area was clean, food fresh and a nice variety to choose from, self serve. With a few tables to sit at or take back to your room or to go... Location easily accessible from hwy.
The room was spacious and clean. The staff is so friendly. Breakfast was great. It was quiet so my son was able to nap during the day and sleep soundly at night. If you are travelling with a toddler they actually have real industrial cribs that your toddler will not climb out of. Not just a playpen.
Our first night the staff was AMAZING! She was super helpful and friendly. We asked for a crib (noted on the reservation) and a cot (no note made when we called in about it) to be in our room and neither were there. The first night lady was able to get them for us thankfully but there was a chance she couldn't. The second night the lady told me that she had to close the pool early to ensure that she met the provincial rule of closing the pool by a certain time and was very rude (wouldn't let me get a towel).
Our favourite, usual, choice to stay when visiting friends, family in this area...very close to QEW, so easy access to them, and shopping, restaurants. This BW has always met our expectations....and as usual, did not disappoint.
Ample Grab Bars by toilet. Also good grips in the roll in shower. Convenient access close to entrance to hotel on first floor. Would recommend to anyone who needs accessibility in the Burlington and Hamilton Area. Thank you!
I t was ok place to stay but a ridiculous 34 hours required if you want housekeeping for your room. I ended up giving a quick clean of the bathroom with Lysol wipes and emptying the garbage and put it out in the hall for disposal. Staff did bring clean towels for us when I asked
Staff are welcoming, entire hotel is clean, conveniently located. Breakfast included with many options. Pool and hot tub were clean, small gym area conveniently overlooking the pool. Room was a good size and included microwave and fridge
Convenient location, easy access, the place looked clean. cleaning crew work very hard, could be trained to deep clean some areas in the bathroom once/twice a month. Great customer service; room was very cold specially it was -19 outside, tried to adjust temperature. Warm breakfast, would have liked to have some boiled eggs. Met other amazing and friendly guests. Thank you Shaunice and NIkita!
The staff are amazing My grandkids love coming here the staff interact with them they talk about how school is birthdays holidays. They are super nice. They make you feel comfortable They are like family
It's was a nice hotel with free parking and breakfast. Our room door wouldn't close properly and the shower head wouldn't fully open up so pressure was not the best. Breakfast was a nice selection giving the times of Covid.
We have been staying at this Best Western a couple of times a year, interrupted somewhat by CIVID. The hotel is well managed, comfortable and very convenient as it is relatively close to the families of our three children who live nearby.
I've spent many a night in hotels, and hands down this was the best! The service was white gloves all the way! I'm now the Best Western Plus number 1 fan and advocate. If you want an amazing customer experience then come stay at the Best Western!
Nice room, friendly service but food wasn't that great for the breakfast. Great location just off the highway and the pool and hottub were nice to have. Service was great, they brought extra towels when asked for.
My experience was nice, they didn't discriminate against me or treat me differently. Everyone was nice even other customers were nice. I would definitely stay there again. The pool was great however if it was a bit warmer that would of be nice and the prices are a bit high.
It is to costly for what we had. will not use this hotel again. breakfast was a lot of waiting and in the basement. food was warm when should have been hot. no a great selection and was in the basement..
We find the location of the hotel very convenient when visiting our three families in Burlington. We have stayed at this hotel at least twice a year for the past 15 years. The level of service has stayed consistent and we would not hesitate to recommend the hotel as a reasonably priced facility
Always treated well at Best Westerns. I have grown to know what to expect as far as service and convenience is concerned. Staff has been very polite and Accommodating. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean
Few cleanliness issues, hair and stain on bed sheets and broken arm on chair. However biggest concern is the very disrespectful staff member The room itself was decently priced, and pretty spacious , however I will not be returning due to the poor service
Great breakfast choices including eggs, sausage/bacon and potatoes. Friendly staff. Clean room in excellent condition with its own heat/cool unit. Ground floor unit to accommodate my canine companion. Quite throughout the day and night. Easily located near the QEW.
Lovely room but to close to the highway it was very loud at 6am not great when your trying to get a rest was told if I had complained at night they would have move us. If there where less noisy rooms available why put us in there in the first place?
Hotel was quiet and the room was nice. Nice to have a hot breakfast even during Covid . The only downside was that I went in search of ice , not knowing the only working ice machine was on the main floor near the elevator.
We stayed here with our dogs. The service and quality were excellent! Highly recommend if you need a safe place to stay. The breakfast was a nice bonus to get us started on our day quickly. The beds were comfortable.
I'm a gold member on the hotels.com rewards program (supposed to entitled me to complimentary upgrades and complimentary early check in and early check out, I'm also a diamond select member (the highest level of best western's rewards program). I was offered no upgrade, requested late checkout, and when I called the hotel was told at 3:20 pm that check in wasn't until 4pm and I would have to wait. I was given and experienced: a basic king room that had an adjoining door to another room that was occupied (could hear talking and the tv and people talking) no upgrade was offered; was given a room facing the highway side of the hotel (had to stuff pillows against the window to try and muffle the sound of trucks and cars 24/7; and at 11:16 am got a call to the room phone asking if I was planning on extending the stay because I was 15 mins past checkout and I had to be out for cleaning. This was after a cleaning staff had opened my door at 10:15 and walked in despite my do not disturb sign. The sheets had what looked like a ketchup stain on them when I arrived. The front desk attendant was polite and quick which was nice, but I was treated exactly like every other guest and felt that it was very rude to pressure a guest out 1) ahead of the checkout time. 2) ask them for additional payment 16 mins after the checkout time despite that guest —who is a repeat diamond guest—asking for a 12 pm checkout. And 3) walking into their room despite a check out sign. I stayed at the best western (4 days prior) on Hamilton Mountain and was treated exceptionally. Not sure what's going on at this location. For the same money, definitely go stay at the waterfront hotel.
Considering with the whole covid going on, the hotel was very clean. It made me feel safe, the rooms and washroom were clean, no dust or anything out of place, it's a nice home feeling and peace of mind
This hotel was such a reasonable price especially since breakfast was included. I was on my way to Hamilton for a meeting and this was close enough to avoid the snowfall predicted for the next morning. The staff was very helpful and the room was a nice size with a comfortable bed.
I used my Visa to pay for the room and opted to pay for room security deposit with a debit card. Was charged $250 security deposit for a room that cost $193 and initially was double charged for the room and I had to litteraly argue for 20 mins with the most ruddest, misserable front dest manager to correct the mistake. He treated me and my partner with so much disrespect that it ruined our 1 night stay where we wanted to celebrate our 5th year anniversary. Never again will we go to that hotel ever again. I rather sleep in the car then have to have such nightmare of experience with front desk staff that seems to think they can pick and choose who they want to overcharge without justification and a lack of publicly accessable policies. And above all, made me and my partner feel as though we were some troublemakers, off the street scum and made us feel unwelcomed and very uncomfortable with such angry, bitter and distrustful attitude towards us. This was our first and sadly our last stay at this hotel.
It was a very nice hotel. The only problem we had was the pool was supposed to be heated and it was not so we could not use it. To cold. Breakfast was very good and the Staff where extremely nice and helpful.
If your looking for a nice well maintained reasonable priced hotel with free parking, a pool and a good breakfast, than look no further. I have stayed at this location many times over the years and keep coming back. Even though the purpose of my visit is usually to see folks in Hamilton, it is well worth the short drive to stay at this Burlington Best Western Plus. You can't go wrong with this place. Experience it for yourself.
We loved playing in the pool and got a good nights sleep in our room. Breakfast was a nice treat of hot eggs, pastries, and lots of other yummy items. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and well stocked.
Amazing staff, delicious breakfast, very clean facility with great value! By far the best Best Western I've been too. The staff truly treat you like family--- always willing to go that extra mile to help!
Location was great. Easy check-in and check-out. Full hot breakfast was great. Our room was clean and spacious. Pool and whirlpool were great. Staff were always available and ready to assist or answer questions. Value was exceptional.
This Best Western is one of the best places I have stayed in my many business and pleasure travels. It is always clean, the staff are always super friendly, and they accommodate requests cheerfully. My favourite part of this place is their outstanding breakfast, best I've ever seen in a hotel. It is buffet style with every conceivable choice on the menu and again, super helpful and friendly staff. I really love this Burlington treasure and wish all hotels were like this!
Stayed here for my child's competition in Hamilton as hotel prices in Hamilton were ridiculous that weekend. Great location and value, only 15min from the venue (First Ontario Centre). Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, pool and spa clean, breakfast was good. Highly recommend
What more could you ask for in a clean, well-run, well-staffed hotel? Those pillows are to die for! Although you are adjacent to the QEW (highway) it is very quiet and for some reason, you never have to wait for the elevator LOL The breakfast is excellent and the front desk staff are extremely helpful. I keep coming back :-)
My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Burlington location over the weekend and had an awesome time. The check in was a smooth and easy process as the lady checking us in was awesome and very friendly. My granddaughter had a great time in the pool and the pool area was very clean and bright, nice hot tub too. We had one problem with the tv as we could not get it to work. We called the front desk and she came up right away and fixed it for us, no questions asked. The breakfast is very good and check out was good with another very friendly lady behind the desk. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it is close to all amenities in the area. My husband and I are planning on returning soon.
We visit Burlington at least twice a year and this Best Western has been our hotel of preference for the past 15 years. The location suits us very well as our families are within a 20 minute drive. Often our flights involve a late arrival and early departure, both handled with ease. The breakfast offered has always been quite adequate.
Excellent hotel. Very professional and friendly staff. Very accommodating to a late check in after a delayed flight. Check in was easy and quick despite the late hour. Every day breakfast is provided.
This hotel puts plastic lined mattress pads on their beds. This makes a person sweat during the night. My wife an I spent a very uncomfortable sweating night at this place. We will never stay here again until this mattress pad thing is fixed.
This has always been a great place to stay but our recent stay was marred by a transport driver training company operating out of their back parking lot so that you get woken up by back up beepers going and truck doors slamming and loud voices in a Indian dialect from a few people . Not impressed with being woke up that way and having a business like that piggybacking off the hotels parking lot so I had to lower the sleep rating.
Friendly staff, comfortable stay a wide range of food selection during breakfast. The breakfast room is small so you might have to wait a bit but other than that the hotel is really good. Not a lot things around it tough.
We arrived on Christmas Day and the staff, while being away from their own families, were super friendly and helpful. You can't beat the cost; the hotel is comfortable and clean, the breakfast really good and included.
Excellent experience. Lovely room and great hot breakfast. Good value for money! Would definitely stay here again. Ease of access from highway. Some noise from the traffic on the highway but not a problem. Easy to park.
Efficient check in, very friendly desk clerk. Asking what she could do to make our stay more comfortable. Good value for money with breakfast . Room was very clean as were other amenities. Grandchildren loved the pool and facilities. Location very easy to get to and convenient to other amenities in Burlington.
Very clean and comfortable. I needed a hotel last minute and the rate was good. The staff were friendly and professional, the room was very clean well equipped and comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again if I'm ever in Burlington.
We stayed at the BW on a quiet Sunday night. It was quite well priced. The good: our room (209) was adjacent to the stairway to the second floor. Since there is an elevator as well, which most people use, it was super quiet. Also, the room was dark and the mattress firm. BUT "super quiet " is also relative. The room faced on to the highway, so noise was constant. But at least it was consistent (almost like "white noise"). There were no ambulances or traffic honking. But if that disturbs you, ask for a room facing the other way. Breakfast is included as well. It was edible. Bland, unremarkable, and passive. On the "free breakfast at a bargain hotel scale " I would give it a 4 out of 10. In other words, "hey, it saved us the money to buy breakfast somewhere else. " Still, if you want a cheap night near Hamilton/Toronto, it's a good choice.
You cannot beat the price. And it is clean with helpful staff. It is centrally located with quick access to the QEW. For a continental breakfast it surpassed our expectations. Fresh fruit and yogurt are great healthy options. Also the eggs are real. I will stay again.
We usually stay at BW on our travels, but this BW Plus, Burlington, ON., was by far one of the best hotel we have stayed in! The room that we were in, was excellent in amenities! We love the bed and the large living room space. The complementary breakfast was excellent, real dishes, utensils, and the food choices, very good coffee were all very very nice. The staff in the hotel was very cheerful and helpful, the ambience in this hotel feels very nice, too! We were very glad that we stayed 2 nights, restful sleeps and feeling good for the days! We will want to stay in this hotel, when we are in Burlington/Mississauga on our next annual visit. Convenient parking and ease of check-in/check-out is very nice. Thanks!
We were trying to find a high rated hotel that would be cheaper then going on to our next destination. This was a little more then the others but you got the most for your money. They had comfortable beds and served breakfast. It was a good full breakfast. Hot and cold. From cereal to protein based, fruit. Something for everyone. When we arrived the woman at the desk helped us out and was patient. The room was a good size with a cute little bathroom but had enough space in it. If I ever come back to canada and we are in this town I would probably stay here again
It was a wonderful room and the staff was awesome. Breakfast was great too. It was a great stay. I would stay there again if we had another dog event in the area. Next time I would bring my bathing suit I think.
Gorgeous. Felt like royalty from arrival to check out. Kind helpful staff and beautiful comfortable and spacious room. Definitely on my go back list. The pool area is very cool, and close to grab the train to the city.
This was a welcome refuge after an "interesting" border crossing because of my state of residence, this was a welcome refuge. Unfortunately, my daughter and I arrived while a group ahead of us was apparently having a "problem". One of the two ladies at the front desk courteously excused herself "to assist other customers", namely my daughter and I. The lady who assisted us was wearing a name badge reading "Nikita". She handled our reservation quickly and courteously. Nikita's professionalism is to be commended not just for what she did for my daughter and I, but also for the way she was attempting to assist people who were being obviously unreasonable. A further shout-out goes to the management of the hotel for this level of staffing as having two people at the front desk at anytime in a U.S. hotel is unheard of these day, except in 4 or 5 star locations. Our hotel rooms were quiet, spacious and well equipped. I'd consider staying here again...
When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile from the attendant. The check in and check out was very quick. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The overall appearance of the hotel was great.. It was updated and clean.
The hotel was clean, breakfast was awesome and amenities were good except the pool area. We were assured that it was a salt water pool, however, it seemed to have an inordinate amount of chlorine (which we know is used, but was at shock level). My girls hockey team bathing suits were bleached out within 20 min of swimming, and the kids eyes were bright red, swollen and irritated for hours after use. When brought up to staff, we were told it was in a safe range. Not dealt with.
I had the best sleep I've had in months. The room was clean and quiet. Highly recommend this hotel. Next time I will make sure I have more time to use the beautiful pool and hot tub. Luxurious sheets and no coloured bedspread so you know for sure it's clean.
From reserving to check-out, our stay was very enjoyable. It was a great price, all of the staff was friendly, the breakfast (included in the price) was one of the better hotel breakfasts we've had! The room was very clean, ample (FREE) parking, and the bed very comfortable. For a last second decision, this was a great one! Thank you Best Western Burlington staff!
The interior carpets have seen better days, but the beds were vere comfortable.I asked for a room away from the highway, which we got, but the view out our window was a dumster in the parking lot. There was a large family that was very noisy, they over took the pool, and hot tub.Staff did nothing about my complaint.
Always stay here when visiting family and friends living in the area. Never disappointed with the quality that travellers expect from a Best Western Hotel. Hotel is great for a simple overnight stopover. Also good location on the freeway...so easy access to all the 'Golden Horseshoe' tourist amenities.
Excellent, super clean, spacious room, and most pleasant staff. We chose this location for visiting Toronto, and used the "GO" train from nearby station, for the one hour trip to/from Toronto, Fare for Seniors Round Trip about $10.00 US Dollars.
The hotel is very nice, clean. Staff were very friendly, helpful! The beds were comfortable! We had everything we needed. Very quiet! Made use of the pool and hot tub! Very relaxing! Pet Friendly which was great as we brought our Dog with us!
Arrived Aug 15, 2019 check in was quick and informative. Room was very clean and nicely decorated, really great comfortable beds. Spotless bathroom, faucets, shower etc in excellent working order with lots of hot water, Everything we needed was provided for our three nights stay except for one minor thing, there was no makeup mirror which would have been very convenient for getting ready for a wedding. Totally enjoyed our stay we would defiately return.
This booking was super last minute and I called Best Western and they were amazing and very accommodating, specially Shanice that booked me over the phone and helped me with everything!! It's great to know that you can count with a company that always your back!
Stayed at this hotel before jumping on the GO Train at Aldershot to head to the jays game. Convenient location to get on and off the highway yet quiet. Felt safe during duration of stay. Rooms were clean, breakfast was fantastic.
We were traveling around lake Ontario from update NY and selected this hotel as our first stop. We were very happy with the room, the pool/spa area, breakfast and overall service. Everything was clean and well plenished. Super close to the outlet mall and other shopping. Nice restaurants in the area close by. Would definitely stay again.
Great place to stay, clean rooms, great amenities, toiletries are also good quality. Breakfast was so good. Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Bed was clean and comfortable. Hotel is close to many things, stores, major roadways, QEW. Will definitely return again. Staff were all friendly and approachable.
Large complex , quick efficient check in, staff did their job, no personal touches though. Room was large and clean, had everything we needed. Pool area was lovely and refreshing. Breakfast room was very big, had all the usual cooked items etc and fresh fruit on offer . Check out was quick and with a bit more personality. Overall a good stay
Drug paraphernalia in living room of suite 314. Evidence of smoking pot in room. Maid never cleaned room properly. Threatening notes left in drawers from last client. Reported this to reception ask to talk to manager unavailable. Manager has not contacted me yet been home 5 days.
What really makes my wonderful stay to this hotel is the staff. All the crew are awesome and very helpful. They made you feel home away from home. Thank you again and will see you on my next business trip.
I booked this hotel for our visit to Royal Botanical Garden. It's closed the highway and local shopping area. The place was clean and comfy. The staff from front desk to breakfast kitchen were friendly and efficient. There're mini refrig and microwave in the room which we need for this hot summer. And their WIFI was fast. I just wish I could adjust the fan in the room so it would not direct to the bed.
Our trip to Burlington was for a memorial service. We had previously stayed at the Best Western Plus in Burlington so we chose them again. I'm glad we did. The breakfast, which is included, was even better than I remembered with the addition of hot spinach tarts. They take a little longer to prepare but are well worth the wait. Even though we encountered a 3 hour time difference fro our home base, we still made a point of getting up for this treat!
Picked our daughter up from the airport, has 2 small kids. Very difficult to find a suite that has separate bedroom and pull out couch in the living room. It was $202 + tax, free hot breakfast. We did have trouble accessing wifi, called the front desk with no one answering, so we never did solve that issue. Free parking. Our room was 202, quiet, would recommend. Room was clean. Needed clarification on our room bill and the clerk did seem a bit defensive. They do hold a security deposit against your room that is not disclosed at the time of booking.
The place was clean and service was great. The breakfast that was included was good. Honestly, for what you pay, you get a really good deal. Shout out to Nikita who went OUT of her way to help me locate valuables I thought I lost.
Comfortable, clean hotel; swimming pool and fitness room open to about 10pm Friendly services Good location; walking distance to play structure, also can walk to shopping center Free wifi, parking and breakfast included
We always stay at the Best Western when we are in Burlington overnight. Our family is there and we just really like the convenience of where it is located. The free breakfast is always very good, with lots of variety.
The motel is right by a bush highway however there is very little road noise. Quiet considering. Not as many options as some of the other Best Western's we have stayed in however this motel was clean, the breakfast buffet was quite nicely done and the people working there were very pleasant.
My wife and I were on our last day of a 12 day, 3200 mile (5120 km) road trip through the US with our classic car and chose the Best Wesetern Plus Burlington Inn & Suites as our last stop before heading home to Eastern Ontario. After spending the previous 11 nights in hotels, this property stands as the best hotel experience of our trip. From the excellent staff- (virtually everyone says "hello") to the impeccable standard of maintenance and decor, this is a place to return to.
After a long day in Toronto it was nice that this hotel was location very close to the Burlington GO Transit center. No coffee in lobby was a bummer. Breakfast area pretty average as well. Overall a very typical Best Western. Clean rooms, no problems.
The hotel and staff have always been pleasant and accomodating evert time we have stayed here. I'm sure we will be back again. The full breakfast is just that and excellent to boot. The most irritating thing was having a minimum of 200 characters to type in this review.
This hotel is ideally placed for travel by road, rail or bus to Toronto & many locations in Southern Ontario (Niagara Falls in particular) and as a day (or two) stop-over for those on longer journeys to and from other provinces in Canada or the US (eg New York State & Detroit). The staff are efficient and friendly and the facilities are very good value for families in particular - malls, stores and restaurants are close by and a wider variety of shopping & eating is available 5 to 10 minutes away by car. Burlington itself has limited entertainment & attractions available but there are a number of places of historical interest both there & elsewhere on the lakeside such as Oakville - this area was for many years a place of refuge for those escaping from slavery in the US: Harriett Tubman & many others found a welcome there as did Native American fugitives from oppression in the US.
I have to say that our room was beyond clean which is huge for my wife and I, we always bring our own cleaning supplies for the bathroom and what not...We still cleaned the bathroom ourselves but probably didn't need to happen...There were no bed bugs and no bad smell to the room.......There was no blow dryer but I don't care about that since I shave my head, people would typically bring their own anyways, the lighting in the bathroom was great and the water was actually hot....The breakfast was on point, no under cooked meat, the eggs were not runny and there were a lot of options to choose from...The staff was super nice no matter who you spoke with, even the employees watching over at breakfast time, she would come around with fresh croissants... I know these are not normal things people write reviews about but its worth mentioning because this is what I look for in reviews.
Everything was great, no complaints about the hotel itself. However, other hotels of the same quality on the same road are a bit cheaper and offer the same amenities . Check in and check out were fast, but it does take a while to get your credit card deposit back (longer than other hotels)
Hotel is conveniently located near coffee shops and restaurants. The best part was the pleasant staff, both at the front desk and breakfast. Business Cntre was useful for my work, so thanks. Well done
The hotel room was clean and modern. Nothing fancy. Check in was quick and the staff friendly. I was disappointed that the large flat screen tv was only supplied with a low definition cable signal. Also, anyone with long hair will have a hard time with the very low pressure shower head. The breakfast buffet was good, and I would visit again.
Very clean and up to date. All the staff were helpful and professional. Made you feel welcome. Just what you need for business travel. Location was great. Would recommend to any business travelers to stay if in the area.
If you want control over the heat in your room, for your entire stay, then this is NOT the place for you. Every night around 4:00 in the norning the heat will turn off and the room will get cold -very cold depending on your sensitivity to cold.
Reserved 1 room by phone for my family. When we arrived, we were told we had too many guests and were forced to pay for an additional room. Our hotel budget was effectively doubled due to hotel staff error. I spoke to the owner who chose to believe his staff member over me, and was not compensated. A small "room discount" of $20 per room was given. (This discount still made the room more expensive than it would have been on Expedia).
My wife, daughter and I choose this hotel due to its location as we wanted to visit Toronto but didn't want to pay the higher price for a hotel in downtown Toronto and as we had a car also didn't want to pay for parking in Toronto or have the hassle of driving into the city. This hotel is in a great location if you have a car. Parking is plentiful and free outside the hotel entrance. We used the Go Train from Burlington station to get to Toronto and this was only a 15min walk from the hotel so meant we had a day without driving. The train cost around $45 for two adults return and child was free. The journey was just over one hour each way. The hotel itself was very comfortable, there is a indoor swimming pool and spa pool and when we visited we had the pool to ourselves. Towels are provided in the swimming area and there is a single washroom where you can change. The breakfast staff were very friendly and chatty and made us feel very at home. The breakfast range of food was great. Warm and cold food options available in a buffet layout so would cover most peoples tastes. The hotel itself was very clean as was the family room we stayed in. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms quiet. All in all a great two night stay at this hotel and if we visited the area again we will definitely stay here again. The manager of the hotel and the receptionist spent some time talking to us when we checked out on the final day and gave us some very useful information about the area and things to see and do. They made us feel very valued customers which was very much appreciated.
Stayed here for one night for my daughter's dance competition. Check-in was friendly and quick. Room (231) was very basic, which is what we wanted and paid for. Very clean with two double beds, desk, TV stand/dresser and fridge. Bathroom was average size. Water pressure could have been better and we were only left three sets of towels but none of that was a big deal for us. Pool was great - deep end is not deep, which was great for my kids. Free breakfast was decent with lots of options - fruit, healthy and sugar cereals, eggs, sausages, potatoes, waffles, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juices. Check-out was again friendly and quick. The hotel loses one star because although my stay was problem-free, some of our fellow dance families had some issues with room cleanliness upon check-in that really bothered them.
A clean and quiet stay. The room was very clean and beautiful. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. And even though we had a room on the highway side and across from the elevator, we had a very quiet and peaceful stay. This is a go to location all the way. Very positive review!
Excellent stay here! Very clean and well maintained property. Comfy bed and good lightings. Good location too, nearby shopping complex. Quiet even though it's not too far from the main road. Good wi-fi connection. Decent breakfast selection. Will come back.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were both really nice. The area was clean and very warm and the washroom was clean as well. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative things I have to say about the hotel is that the queen size bed was small, I think it's actually a double size, and the breakfast was ok, just make sure to get there early.
We just got home from staying here for a hockey tournament. Fantastic beds, linens and pillows. They were incredibly accommodating for our last min booking. Great pool and fantastic breakfast! I have to say the manager on duty was great we had to be at the arena by 6:30am (on the weekends breakfast does not start at 6am) however she was great she let us grab some food so my son could play his best, thank you!
Great rooms and staff make you feel like family. Easy access to food and shopping. Beds are always comfortable and breakfast is always hot. I stay for work at least 4 times a year if not more. Always leave happy with my stay!
Hotel is very clean. Staff friendly and very attentive, specially the laidy on charge of breakfast area. Always around making sure we where satisfy with our breakfast. We had chance to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi. Very pleasant place to stay.
My bf and I stayed here last weekend. It is just off the highway. We were upgraded to the king with jacuzzi room. The room/hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a excellent variety.
This hotel is great. I stayed here with my family for a dance competition weekend. The kids loved the pool. The bed was very comfortable and the room was super clean! The breakfast was good with lots of options for adults and kids. Definitely an enjoyable hotel.
I stayed at the BW Plus Mar. 17 to the 19th and I was very pleased. The hotel looks to be newly renovated. There was ample parking. The lobby was clean and organized. My rooms were very clean and so were the bathrooms, which is most important to me. The beds were very comfortable, which is just as important. The one issue I had with the room was that the walls are a little thin, so I could hear the guests in the room next to mine. However, come bedtime, all occupants seemed very respectful and did not make any noise so as to disrupt other guests sleeping. All employees were great - from the front desk to the cleaning staff, to the kitchen staff. All were helpful and really nice. The inclusive breakfast was also very good. There was plenty to choose from and items were frequently replenished. The only negative issue was that the water in the jacuzzi was too hot. And the walls at the deep end of the pool were a bit grimy. But the condition of the pool area were very clean and the water was also very clean. If I were in the area again, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
This was our first stay at this hotel and we were very happy with the cleanliness of the room. It was very quiet at night. The only disappointment was that the jets in the tub were not working. We were however informed of this when we checked in.
If I could rate this hotel a negative I would! We visited this hotel back in September 2018 and it was the worst service I have every experienced in my life. The hotel had a bed bug issue in a family's room with the group we were traveling with and they provided very little help and service to ensure our needs and ultimate satisfaction were being met. We wanted to check out following the situation and they refused! They were more worried about the $100 revenue then ensuring that we were being taken care of as customers! I will forever refuse to stay at a Best Western Hotel again and encourage my family and friends to do the same. We live in a world with customer service is key which they clearly don't live out! Sorry to all the other locations that had nothing to do with this situation - I guess a lesson to be learn to this corporation... one bad experience can have a permanent impact on future business for all who carry the same name.
Very nice hotel, looks very updated and new. Has a pool, fitness room and free breakfast. It was a very nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and fast. Free WiFi also. I highly recommend it. Price was nice too.
This is such a great place to stay whether you are visiting Burlington or the GTA (the GO is just around the corner). Staff are super-friendly, the beds are amazing, rooms are large and well-equipped. Very quiet and did I say the staff are super-friendly? Breakfast is also awesome.
Stuck in Burlington because I-70 closed. We found the Best Western to be clean, friendly, conveniently located. Kids enjoyed the pool. Front desk recommend the Dish Room Restaurant, and we were not disappointed. It made our unexpected delay quite enjoyable.
We stayed for 3 days at Christmas and again for our Grandsons 1st Birthday. Will be staying there again for my birthday. We used to live in Burlington but now live in Port Colborne. I can't think of anywhere else I would rather stay. The rooms are so clean and staff is awesome.
My wife and I stayed here this weekend for a concert we were going to. Check in was easy, parking was free, Staff was great, breakfast was beyond expectations. Great job Best Western for maintaining your high standard.
We have moved from Burlington and now use this hotel as our "home" when we need to be in Burlington. Great Staff each time we come back.. very personable, helpful, acquainted with hotel processes, wonderful above average breakfast, and most of all, comfortable rooms, so comfortable in fact that we wanted to take our pillows with us!!! Looking forward to our next visit.
I stayed here on two occasions in the last 8 months. My recent stay had me in a double queen room. The room itself was clean but the bathroom was not. The toilet didn't work properly and sink, mirror and toilet all had reminders of past guests (hair, stains). No shampoo provided - just a whole bunch of conditioner. The provided towels were also pretty grotty. The pluses were the very friendly check-in and the breakfast.
We stayed here for a work function dinner. the hotel and room was clean and spacious! from desk staff were courteous and helpful and always had a smiles on their faces! We had a great night and a great stay! super close to the highway which was great for the morning commute back to work! Thank you and keep up the Great Work BW Burlington!
Even though we stayed only for 2 days, we enjoyed the atmosphere, the room and the breakfast. Everyone was kind, sincere and professional in all they did. We will make sure that our friends and family know how great it was to spend time in a comfortable room, in a great Hotel, with wonderful tasty breakfasts, and great staff. Thank you.
I am 70, grand daughter is 8. We come and stay one night and swim, swim, swim. The staff are great, the room super and the pool just warm enough for my old bones and cool enough that the grand child can swim all day if she had the chance.
Clean. Safe. Comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Would like to see them offer weekly rates. Good location. Overall experience was excellent and would advise people to stay at a BesWesternt
The rooms very spacious and well kept, they had all tea coffee you could drink and bedding towels changed regulary. Great hotel I found all staff I met very welcoming and happy to see you. The housekeeping ladies and gentscwere some obliging with any question myself or my family had and any request we had they tried to help out. Even down to telling me the best roads and direction to take. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally helpful. Lovely hotel and in glad I picked it very central and comfy thanks
Check in and out were quick and easy. The pool was very clean and warm with lots of towels available. The free breakfast had a great variety and was refilled often. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Both check in and out were handled very efficiently. The staff during both times were friendly. We were upgraded to a suite upon check in with separate sitting and working areas, therefore lots of space. Lighting was a bit poor. The closet was in an odd location very close to one of the beds. Everything looks clean and working. I will definitely recommend this hotel.
We stayed here for a high school reunion. I was”that” customer. We went from 4 people to 6 people then back to 4. After we checked in, we went back to 6 people. Aaron was absolutely amazing and got our room changed yet again. So very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
I have never written a review before. I just repeat my business and refer my family and friends the places I enjoy. This time I must. The night worker Aaron at the hotel front desk was such a gentleman. Travelling with 5 kids was exhausting but he was just so patient and welcoming that he literally destressed me in minutes. A feet not accomplished by many. So I had to take the time to give my feedback and hope you recognize Aaron, for he is single handedly the reason my family and I return to BW. Thank you.
Stayed over 2 nights for training over the weekend. Will be next week too so will see if there are changes. The room was great - very clean. The only issue was with the breakfast. There was no bacon, any staff were too busy, and the sausage was boiled and mushy. Both days ended up at Tim Horton's for breakfast.
Everything was quick, cheerful, clean and efficient. The room was clean, the check in was quick as was check out. Amentities were all there and the infra red ceiling heater in the bath room was a nice bonus that you dont see much anymore. We will return.
I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Burlington for a hockey tournament. We were all very impressed. The hotel was nothing fancy but it was very well maintained, very clean and the staff were friendly. The rooms were all well kept and so was the pool area. The breakfast in the morning was one of the better free breakfasts that I've had. Though I do wish they would have some prepackaged allergy friendly foods as I have seen at other hotels.
The rooms were clean, staff was helpful. Pool and hot tub were great, perfect temperature. Good variety of food for breakfast. Many different restaurants close by. I would definitely go back again. I would also recommend to friends and family.
My daughters and granddaughters and I spent two nights at this hotel on a special weekend. The employees were all very helpful and kind. The breakfast was wonderful and always refilled constantly. The room was very clean and well decorated. I have no complaints about anything.
Spent two nights here and will return. It is in a convenient location for running around the city. The staff was wonderful, clean large room, bed was comfortable. Enjoyed breakfast both mornings and the hot tub was amazing!
Pleasant and cheerful staff at front desk and breakfast area. Clean room and no noise heard from street or other rooms. Great wifi. Good variety of breakfast items. Location excellent for QEW and downtown Burlington.
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, hotel has excellent location and parking space, wifi very good, they should alter the coffee machine at breakfast though, coffee had little taste; breakfast over all was OK
This was the second time this year that we have stayed at this hotel & each time has been excellent. The last time we were there in April they were just finishing the renovations. Now they are all finished and everything is brand spanking new. Not one complaint about anything and the breakfast has to be one of the best we have encountered in our many travels. Go there you will not be disappointed.
Very nice hotel. Clean and up to date. Very close to Hwy 403. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast was nice, but could have had a few more options added to the menu. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.
Although we had to cancel our upcoming stay, Alicia was great helping us cancel the reservation due to an unexpected family emergency. Thanks to her and her manager for making this happen. We look forward to staying here again next time we are in Burlington for sports.
Excellent rooms and staff.Needed extra sheet got right away.Need plates for dinner no problem.no noise, good breakfast.not much more to say, trying to fill in 200 characters minimum for this review.
This is a 3 star plus hotel. It is a gem, a hidden beauty. My wife and I enjoyed our stay completely. Her daughter cam with us too and loved the pool and gym. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. The staff were excellent. We stayed 12 nights and were very happy we found this hotel.
This was a new hotel with a very clean room with a good amount of space. All upgraded and really nice Great breakfast with eggs and sausage and make your own waffles saltwater pool and hot tub had plenary of room for the family. Would definitely stay there again
The location was perfect .Easy to find just off the 403. Nice clean room at a reasonable price. Nice pool. Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast included. Close to nice malls and shopping. We really enjoyed it.and would highly recommend iBest Western and Burlington.
Our stay was great Room was quiet, clean and comfortable Breakfast was very good , above average compared to our other hotels. Access was fast and easy Our only small complaint would be the front desk area is tight and not well thought out Staff was nice. Would stay again, price was average
This a short distance from the QEW. Nice breakfast. Large pool and an adequate fitness area. Rebecca checked us in quickly and is extremely pleasant. We used the early check-in and got the room we requested.
Friendly staff, quick check-in, delicious breakfast and to top it off - i was able to do laundry! Enjoyed our stay and the convenient proximity to the highway and to restaurants. Would recommend this hotel for the value! Although there is only one elevator - it was quick and the wait was always minimal. Staff was always friendly, with a smile and a greeting for us whenever we encountered them - from the manager to the maintenance person - a very welcoming and warm experience.
Done the job as we were visiting family, clean comfortable rooms, only 1 thing that could be improved is a bigger room for breakfast there is not enough space for all guests to sit and have breakfast. Only 1 of everything i the bath room even though there were 3 of us!
whilst in this hotel i found the staff very helpful and informative on where to go for family days out even on road closures. the hotel is on a great part of the road where you can go to any direction whiten 2 minutes drive and your on the QEW. great hotel. the breakfast was always war and had enough to fill u until lunch. great
Hotel was clean, staff were friendly. Free breakfast had lots of variety with both hot and cold selections,. Fresh fruit, eggs, sausages, potatoes and make your own waffles, to name just a few. Close to QEW. We had reserved a crib and they had one for us, unlike our stay at Fairfield Inn by Marriot. Crib was old but clean and comfortable. Hotel is an older building but they seem to keep it well maintained. Would return.
This is an awesome hotel. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Hotel is clean. Rooms are tastefully decorated. The beds were very good to sleep on.The indoor pool was good for the kids.Breakfast had a great selection to pick from. Would positively stay here again. Thumbs up staff.
This location needs to hire room service not have the receptionist be the cleaning service. The rooms smell like stinky feet and carpets are old. Not to mention, the bathtub was horrible and when asked for someone to clean, the receptionist came to try to do something but stated that it was old and that's how it would stay. Not satisfied at all. I have contacted corporate and was told by hotel management that 2500 points and that's all they can do. Not fair at all. Will not stay here at all. Do not stay here!! Not worth it!!!
We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Burlington. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered a terrific variety of healthy choices, thanks to Aileen, Donna works in the breakfast area and is constantly refilling everything and is so pleasant. Ekta and Ainslie at the front desk were very friendly! We will definitely be back next year! M & K. Fournier
We have stayed at this Hotel on different occasions, and found the staff to be extremely friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the hot breakfast is quite enjoyable. It is located right off the QEW.
Pleasantly surprised with this hotel...nice clean room, comfortable bed, good internet, good breakfast....A/C was a little bit noisy bt no more than you would find in any other hotel...all on all a good value for the money.
We recently stayed Thurs night to Sunday night - Left very early Monday and breakfast was available - The two queen beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned efficiently each day - Enjoyed the breakfast selection - The staff were pleasant and professional - A very enjoyable experience - Would recommend this property to friends -
Room 326, two night booking: entered hot and stuffy room. Red flag alert. Went to unit control on wall, no power to thermostat. Phoned front desk. Fd lady says I will look at it. "I'm the only one working, so you will have to wait." Fd comes to room, I stated that I want a different room on first contact. She replied, "I'm sold out, tonight". Enters room checks thermostat. "It must be the battery," she states. I ask, what now? She replied rudely, "you obviously don't want that room, follow me! " as if it is our fault we want room temperature control and did something wrong to demand it. Unbelievable; new room assigned, thank you for your help. During 40 years of travel, I stated I could count on my one hand how many times we've ever asked for room replacement and don't do this for fun. BW Plus general manager Burlington, ON: do your homework, fix YOUR problems, your brand reputation is at risk. In the future, we will never stay here again and now will advise guests beware of this property and staff. Your staff must be trained to understand when booking a room that it does include reliable heating and cooling,as we do not live in a third world country. Your guest treatment was unacceptable, unwarranted and degrading. Shame on you and Best Western Plus !
Room 118 for 5 nights. The included breakfast is very good with lots of variety and refilled regularly by the staff. The cleaning crew is a disaster. About all that happened is the bed got made every day, sometimes poorly. Shampoo and creme rinse bottles didn't get replaced until we called, even when left laying empty on the edge of sink. The sink didn't get wiped down. Vacuuming didn't get fluff and string off the floor. The pool was broken the whole time we were there. During the last night, I received 2 emails: one was my statement for the stay; the second was confirming my stay for the next 3 nights (I wasn't extending my stay). The room was a good size with a king bed, reading chair, desk and chair. Lots of electrical outlets.
Check in was a breeze, had trouble finding a room last minute on a Saturday and they came through. Had two kids with me and they were very happy with their beds for the evening. Breakfast was excellent and everybody was well fed
Was originally worried about the hotel's proximity to the highway but it was surprisingly quiet, The breakfast was awesome. The train station is 5 minutes away and perfect for getting where you need to go. Bed was great but pillows are definitely not for picky people but that was my own fault.
A nice place to stay. Staff friendly, and room was clean. We travel with a pet, and they are very pet friendly. Breakfast nice. Also a nice acknowledgement by check-in staff of my diamond status. Easy on and off the highway.
We are always looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable hotel west of TO for a night's stay on the way home. This BWP is all these things plus is just off the QEW. It's also in a decent part of town close to shopping and restaurants. The complimentary breakfast is very good in terms of both selection and quality and the lady working there is right on top of it...exceptionally clean and organized. The staff at the front desk upon check in and check out were very friendly and helpful. Finally, our room rate was very reasonable. We'll be back!
Great location, comfortable room, good breakfast, friendly staff that truly care. Right off the highway with many close by restaurant options. Rooms are still undergoing renovations but when done they will all be very comfortable.
As noted in the title, this is a good quality hotel. The room was well designed, well kept and everything worked as it should. The breakfast room was of similar good quality. I had minimal interaction with the staff but what I did have was competent and pleasant.
This Best Western has a great location, just off the QEW which makes it an ideal spot for things to do in Hamilton as well. I attended a concert in downtown Hamilton and it was a quick 15 minute drive back to the hotel. The breakfast is okay, nothing special but gets the job done. The staff was quick, nice, but not welcoming like most places are now, I'd say. The pool was comfortable and clean. The room was clean, the beds were nice. Overall, this Best Western was good, but not great. The location is great and price was reasonable.
We moved to this location from another hotel and were more than happy that we did. Absolutely no complaints about any aspects of our stay. We will certainly stay here whenever we are back in Burlington. Very good value for money, a rare occurrence in this day & age.
The hotel its self was clean, modern and in a great location. The breakfast was good and all of the amenities were in perfect order. However the staff is much to be desired. I waiting 15 minutes to check in. Not an apology or anything. Other than that a very nice stay.
My wife and I visited our Daughter on the weekend and decided to book a night at the Best Western Plus in Burlington to have the grand kids to ourselves. This was great plan for a movie night and the swimming pool. The rooms was nice and clean and breakfast selection and service was great. The inside poll and area was very clean and inviting. We loved our experienced so much that we decided to do it again soon.
The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was reasonable consisting of eggs, meats, waffle maker, yogurt etc. Check in and check out was quick and staff was friendly. No restaurant within a walking distance though. I would stay there again.
Stay was ok, if i had to I would stay again. great location for what we were there for. Breakfast was the same everyday (boring) they could have coffee and team available in the breakfast room even tho there is a coffee maker in the room, the the lady in the breakfast area was rude most of the time.
I stayed here for a week while visiting the Fisheries an Oceans big office by Easport Drive. I must say I was really happy with the recently renovated rooms. They were very spacious, clean and with a small fridge, Microwave and a sink. Parking the rental was never and issue, even with all the snow on the ground. Internet was very decent too, and I was able to stream Spotify and Youtube no problem while I was at the hotel. There were some areas I wanted to try, like the gym and pool, but just did not get a chance. Next time.
We stayed four nights first three were fine but the last day and night were not so good . We payed extra for a Friday but were not told the hotel would be overrun with hockey players .They started with playing hockey in the halls running up and down stairs banging on doors . Then around 1:30am a couple of drunken guys came knocking at our door saying they were from front desk. We called front desk said it wasn't him. When we left next morning we told front desk clerk what happened she said sorry but not much they could do . It would have been nice if they had told us they regularly have hockey players there so they should have known what to suspect what would happen we could have made other arrangements.
We stayed in this hotel recently for a hockey tournament. Location was great, close to arenas, shopping and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included with the usual fare; eggs, sausage, home fries, pancakes, waffles, toast, bagel, danish, etc.... The hotel has recently completed renovations so our room was clean and comfortable. It was a good size, with mini fridge & micro. Comfortable beds.
Great value for the amenities. Room was very clean and comfortable, however the heating system is very loud. Other then that the service was great and the breakfast was nice, a lot of options, not the best coffee in the rooms or dining.
Due to a last minute trip to Burlington, I called the Hotel and immediately assisted by Ehta. Reservation booked without any issues. Upon arrival I was greeted by Rebecca (should be hotel ambassador) and likewise the check-in went smooth as silk. The room was clean, spacious (due to upgrade from Loyalty membership) and quiet. Did not have a chance to test run the pool or hot tub but visually it looks inviting. The breakfast was the standard fare and was always "topped up" without delay. The room was always kept tidy and spills cleaned up immediately.
Booked in to king bed room. On arrival found I was upgraded room because I am Rewards member I think. Very comfortable room with divider half wall. King mattress made sleep great! Small counter with bar fridge and microwave and sink. Morning breakfast very standard scrambled eggs, dry hash browns and saisage patties. Toast, bagels, English Muffins. Sweet pastries. Oatmeal and cereal. Waffle maker. Juice coffee and tea. Yogurts and hard boiled eggs. But it's "free" with stay. There is a pool but did not use it. Ample parking. Easy access to highways and city. Very efficient and welcoming front desk staff. Will definitely return to this hotel.
Heat turned off in room when we arrived (-30C outside) at midnight. Had told hotel we would be late. Beds frozen!! Weak apology at checkout. Many breakfast items gone well before end of breakfast. Quiet, comfortable (but cold) beds
A quick stay on a Friday night. Rooms okay - renovations underway therefore some dust and dirt. Parking convenient. Friendly staff, decent quick serve breakfast. Location good - close to QEW - Burlington/Hamilton.
10 th stay here in 2017. we come in on business trips and to visit friends and family location close to city center , and highways. will stay here on next trip. nice hot swimming pool and spa. very friendy owners and manager
Great!! Will definitely stay at this resort again Staff great Breakfast fantastic Clean washroom and hot tub was very good. Have stayed at this resort in the past five years and each visit has been exciting
If you want to get in and get out and don't care about amenities or service...then this is a great hotel. Check your reservation quote closely. Parking is good. If you get in late and need to sleep forget about breakfast, it's over and locked at the stroke of 9:30 a.m.
Have stayed here before, as friends, family live in Burlington. Room was good, bed comfortable -,had issue with noisy heater. Hotel undergoing some renovations. This did not affect our stay in any way. Will come back....
This was our first time staying here and we enjoyed the hotel a lot. Despite being under construction the place was very clean and the staff, food and amenities were all great. The staff was very friendly and made our entire family feel welcome. We will return to this hotel the next time we travel this way.
When working west GTA, traffic is an issue, so this a my go-to when I have to work around Burlington/Hamilton or even Mississauga (all less than 30min away). I love that it's right near the highway so I end up here a lot, always great service, and breakfast.
Comfortable Hotel. Good value. Clean with nicely set up rooms. Good pool and fitness area. Staff is courteous and efficient. Breakfast is included and offers both hot and cold. This breakfast room has ample seating and a varied menu. We've stayed there before and will stay there again when in the area.
Hotel was going through renovations though you couldn't tell, the staff was extremely pleasant, the breakfast was DELICIOUS (not often you get a decent hot free breakfast) and the room was clean and ready to receive weary travelers.
Excellent value. Very clean hotel, nice, large, clean room with modern furniture, comfortable bed and good television and internet. Except for the VERY weak coffee, the complimentary breakfast was very much appreciated
Really liked the hotel. Was clean even though they were doing renovations during our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety of food and choices. Room was clean. Thanks for another great stay at the Best Western Plus
Spacious rooms with fridge and microwave, a bit dark though. No immediately neighbouring restaurants but lots of shops and restaurants a short walk or drive away. Hotel under renovation but did not really interfere with our stay.
Nice, quiet and clean hotel. I would stay again for sure. Pool is on the small side. Hot tub was 1-2º too hot. Little bit of traffic noise but not terrible. Lots of restaurants within 5-10 minute drive. The morning breakfast was satisfactory.
The rooms are clean, the staff is awesome. The entire hotel is clean, lots of parking. Great pool great hot tub. They have an actual breakfast (eggs, sausage , etc.. Make your own pancakes, toast but a full eat til you drop continental breakfast.
Though they were renovating (painting in the halls), it did not interfere with our stay. We were offered a room upgrade when we checked in which was a nice surprise. The room was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly.
The Staff was excellent at this Hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. They were very kind to allow our check out to be a bit later so we could return from a Funeral to change before a long drive home. Greatly appreciated.
The Best Western in Burlington is an excellent place to stay. Clean, quiet, superior service, very friendly staff, and easy to get to. The breakfast that was included in our room was fantastic too; a complete breakfast, with eggs and waffles etc., not just a selection of muffins like some other hotels offer. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
Staying at the Best Western in Burlington was the best part of our trip. We all loved the beds and the pool. They staff are top notch and are very friendly here. I hope I will get to stay here again soon.
Staying here for work! The staff are super awesome and accommodating!!! A couple of times I arrived early and they went out of their way to get me into a clean room in quick order! Very convenient location for Burlington, Hamilton, and Oakville! Lots of local shopping and restaurants! Good value for the $$$$ Plenty of parking. Breakfast is rotated daily, and regardless what other reviews say, everything is fresh! I have been staying her for the past few months and the person that said the fruit is not fresh has rocks in there head. The pool area is clean as well as the hot tub! The breakfast lady is awesome!!!! I'm on a diet and there's plenty to chose from! The front desk staff have been nothing but helpful!!! Don't forget to sign up for Best Western travel points, I already have earned 2 free nights. I met the owner of this hotel today and mentioned the a very minor issue and he was very nice! He took the time to talk to me and resolve the problem! The staff makes the difference!!! Paul P
This Best Western is in a very convenient location with easy access to everything. The people are very helpful and friendly. The inn as a whole is very well kept and service is super. The inn is easy to find and has lots of parking.
this is a great best western. aaron was very friendly and helpful at check-in. the room was very spacious and clean. the breakfast could not have been better. the food was fresh and plentiful. the two girls on duty kept everything supplied. all the employees that we came into contact with seemed to want to be there. we will definitely come back again. thanks for caring about what you do !
This hotel provides all that you need for a simple stay. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was convenient. Hotel employees were helpful and pleasant. I will make sure to find out if there are any hockey teams staying at the hotel first. This made the stay not as comfortable as it could have been.
This place was a very pleasant and comfortable place to stay in! The only "issues" I had were that the pool area was too warm for people "supervising" kids who were not swimming, and that there were no hair dryers in the rooms.
For the low cost of the room, I was impressed with how much was offered. Free parking, wifi fitness room, pool, and complimentary hot breakfast (which was pretty good). The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. Very happy with the stay
After staying at another hotel in the area on a number of occasions we decided to try something different. We're glad we did. This is a clean hotel with good facilities and a great staff. Overall it is good value for the money.
Excellent value, great location!! We shopped at a nearby IKEA and the Best Western Plus location was ideal. Rooms were very clean and nicely appointed. The manager on duty was extremely polite and helpful. We needed extra towels at one point and they brought them promptly.
I would still rate this a 2.5 star. Room was nice, however the bathroom needed some love. Shower curtain needed to be washed. Exhaust fan rattled like it was going to blow up. Breakfast was average. The breakfast room set up is terrible. People all over each other trying to serve themselves. The room is too small.
The hotel was fairly easy to find, the exterior was well kept and the parking was good. The interior was clean and updated. The breakfast was adequate but not exceptional. Washroom was clean and well lit.
First time in Burlington for an weekend getaway. We were in town to attend the Hamilton Comic Con. The Best Western Plus is located in the perfect spot access to everything a family needs but also quiet. The windows open for fresh air, the pool and hot tub are very well kept. The fitness room is the right size. The breakfast bar had everything for all peoples tastes. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are excellent! Would defiantly re-book!!
Clean, quiet, well located, decent breakfast, and overall a good value. My only complaints would be the hot water temperature for showering and tub could be higher, the tub wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped, and a few random clipped hairs were around. I will bring my shorts and a book next time to enjoy the seemingly underused hot tub in the pool area.
The time to check-in was quick. However, everything after that was a huge disappointment. I chose this hotel because of its high ratings, but they are very misleading. The room was 234 at the end of the hall which was directly next to the staircase entrance. All through the night and at all hours, the door to the staircase entrance was slammed which reverberated throughout the room. I put on some music to try to drown out some of the noise, but that really did not work out so well. In addition, there was a device on the wall which appeared to be a fire alarm that flickered consistently throughout the entire night. With all the noise from the door slamming, voices heard through paper-thin walls to the flickering light on the wall, my wife and I got not sleep which wasted our next full day because we were exhausted. Also, the next morning, we attempted to eat breakfast, but it was disgusting with fake eggs to rotten bananas. I was fed up and wanted to get out of the dated rotten place. I checked out and the person at the front desk asked how everything was. I told him about the constant slamming of the doors throughout the night. He stared at me like a deer in headlights and he said nothing to me. I was perplexed and annoyed with this odd behaviour and just walked away. With no rest, no food and thoroughly annoyed, my family and I will never set foot in another Best Western.
Our stay at this Best Western was good. Average hotel, they are working on updating outside, which is great to see, rooms definitely needs to be upgraded as well. Overall stay was great. Will definitely go back if in the area.
Looking for a nice and comfortable place to stay, I would recommend this hotel. For a 3 star hotel, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Room amentities are very good and I was surprised to find a fridge and microwave because its not all hotels that give that. Hotel is clean and staff very nice. Location is very conveneint too, just off the highway. Complimentary breakfast, WIFI and parking are all offered.
Room smelled horrible. Like an old wet sock. I was traveling with a baby and I couldn't allow her to crawl around because the carpet was slightly moist and smelled. The air conditioner was so loud. In the morning when we were leaving there were construction workers (working on the hotel) that were smoking weed right outside the door. An overal bizarre experience and not worth the $145
This hotel is a bit dated, and the "breakfast" is not great. Friendly staff, easy to get to from the QEW and lots of restaurants close by. The common areas (hallways) and party room were stuffy and seemed the ventilation system wasn't working. Needs an update.
We stayed for one night prior to moving our son into McMaster University in Hamilton. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. They were gracious enough to provide a cot for our son. Great front desk staff. Very friendly and efficient.
Stayed here for 26 days while husband had surgery in Hamilton, returned in September to bury my husband in Burlington. Staff went over and above to make both visits comfortable and did everything possible to make me feel at home. This is the only place I will ever stay again in Burlington the hotel is clean, well maintained and the staff is fantastic. Highly recommend.
It has been awhile since staying at Best Western and was very impressed with this location. Would not hesitate to stay again. All the staff was very friendly. Great breakfast with good choices. Thanks.
Very pleasant stay. The staff was very helpful. They were very accommodating with parking our very long truck with a boat. The room was nicely decorated and clean. There were many restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was extremely crowded.
very pleased with our visit. the location was perfect and not far from the family function we were attending...i truly found the bed the greatest for my sore back...wanted to take the matress home. I would definately stay at the Best Western in the future
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel for 3 days. We attended the exhibition in Toronto. The Go Station was conveniently close by walking distance. The Burlington Mall is a very short walking distance. The hotel offers an amazing hot breakfast. My husband really enjoyed the hot tub especially after being at the exhibition or downtown Toronto. We were able to spend time with our nieces who live in Burlington.
Great value, extremely clean room, great variety of breakfast items, pool and whirlpool clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is in a great location, easy access to all major highways, shopping.
Easy access off the QEW, clean spacious room, sort of separated sitting area, which was very nice. Okay breakfast(at least there was sausage, pancakes and waffles). Very clean, nice staff, within walking distance of a nice selection of restaurants. 10 minutes to downtown, waterfront Burlington. Our room was 336, quiet end of hall.
This is a clean, really reliable best western. We were visiting for a wedding and just needed a place to change and sleep. They accommodated our request to check in 1 hr early which made this a very easy arrangement. Bed was comfy and decor is basic. they could make it more modern but it does the job
This location is very convenient for us to stay for family visits. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool and exercise room; internet worked great. Breakfast was very adequate with good variety that one would expect at Best Western hotels. We will stay again when in the area. It is just off the 403 highway and also close to attractions.
Easy to find, very clean, modern, very comfortable beds, wonderful staff on both evening and day shift. Asked for a room away from elevators, given a room beside elevators, but that was entirely a miscommunication issue and was immediately corrected. Even with several young families on the same floor as us, we heard virtually no noise after 9pm. Even prior, it was pretty quiet.
We were on holiday in Canada, the Burlington was a stop off, and an awesome stay too. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and ran like clockwork. The staff, all the way upto management were so friendly, helpful and pleasant, married was on crutches, and they were really good with her. We can't thank them enough for a wonderful stay.
I have stayed here many times. Great staff. Easy parking. Super clean. Very good breakfast. Perfect location. Best Best Western in last 4 I have stayed in. Not a fan of the pillows. But everything else is fine
Stayed here multiple times. This trip fell below expectations thanks to a poorly run breakfast. Machines broken, out of most of the hot food, poor choices. Coffee is terrible. Breakfast seemed cheap this time and not well organized and it wasn't even that busy when we were in. Bright side. Bed comfy. Down side room smelled. We were disappointed this visit. Other visits were better but not the coffee. It's always bad.
This hotel offers a wonderful breakfast, great pool and a good nights sleep. There are some things that need fixing or upgrading, but all in all I would recommend this hotel. It is nicely positioned near the highway to gat you on the road quickly.
Enjoyable experience, clean room and overall met expectations. Breakfast was the usual and met expectation. Would prefer real eggs and not liquid/powdered, if possible. Recommend this location. Thank you.
This is a great hotel at a good price. I state that the breakfast is good, but I was more pleased by the fact that I had slept in past 9 am, but when I went down for breakfast, they left the breakfast out. I was able to eat, even though the breakfast technically ended at 9. Most hotels would have shut the door and threw away the left-overs. Thank you. I choose this hotel because of the moderate price. I made the right choice.
Overall, excellent accommodations and very comfortable. Definitely worth the price tag associated with the rental fees. Staff were very courteous and friendly, and ensured we were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
Hotel is very clean and conveniently located. Staff was extremely friendly. Included breakfast was good. Only drawbacks were the bathroom could use an update and the internet was slow. Would definitely stay here again!
The hotel & staff was great. The location was convenient. The breakfast included was delicious. However, the cost was too high ($185 CAD for 1 night). Best Western might consider reducing the costs so people can afford to stay, even if it is for just one night.
Very nice hotel , stayed there before and the price very comparable to all the other big hotel chains . This hotel very clean and very friendly staff, washer and dryer on site ,pool and hot tub. Love this hotel
2nd time we've stayed here during a trip to Ontario and enjoyed it. Will likely stay a 3rd visit. The staff were friendly at check in and departure, breakfast was above average but the only thing that I'd suggest is breakfast end at 10am and not 9.
Very clean and well maintained hotel. Perfect location, modern room designs and friendly and professional staff. Good breakfast, however small breakfast area. Overall experience 9/10. Would highly recommend to anyone, whether it be for business or pleasure.
Spent the night at BW since I had returned to Burlington to see two students graduate from high school. Very easy to check in and used points that I had accumulated from Best Western. Was very comfortable, welcoming stay and would recommend staying here if in Burlington
Excellent, clean rooms, service great. Would recommend this location. Have stayed three times, will use this hotel again. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Parking no problem. Didn't know to connect WIFI, staff did it for me. Gave excellent directions to places I wanted to visit. Can't say enough good things about this location.
Hotel is clean and well kept up, staff is friendly and helpful, location is very convenient to downtown Burlington and the highway. We typically stay here several times a year and our experience is always the same. Beds are a bit hard, but otherwise highly recommend it.
We were heading to Niagara-On-The-Lake for a brunch at a winery. We decided to head down the day before knowing it would be a problem with traffic driving through Toronto (it always is!) We were unable to find a hotel in the Niagara area (too expensive) so stayed in Burlington instead. Then we only had a 1 hour drive on Sunday morning. The only problem we had was being unable to connect to the internet because of a very weak signal.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room, the hotel and all the amenities were clean and well maintained. My only problem was connecting to the internet in my room. I would definitely stay in the hotel again.
An overnight stay on a long road trip and this was a wonderful hotel in all respects. The room was nicely appointed and comfortable, very clean and quiet. We had a room set up for mobility impaired guests and everything was great.
overall good experience staying here nice Best Western , salt water pool was nice.Breakfast was good variety of food . only bad thing was being woke up at 530 am by fire alarm going off supposedly because somebody decided to have a cigarette in their room even though its a none smoking motel..
We stayed on the way to Niagara Falls; it was an easy location to get in and out of. Friendly front desk staff, good continental breakfast. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Nice pool and hot tub. Great stay with kids.
We go there because it's close to where our kids live! It's convenient and the breakfast is really good. I don't particularly like that the duvet is only protected with a sheet and not a cover and I'm sure that they don't put a fresh duvet every time the new people occupy the room!!!
Great location right off the 403 and down the street from the Go Station. Room was average, bed terrific. Stayed on the top floor back of the hotel...nice and quiet. Wonderful hot breakfast. Free parking a bonus as well as wifi. Nice indoor pool. The front reception area will be getting a major facelift shortly but still OK.
hotel offers no charge wifi, free parking and is close to shopping and restaurants. indoor pool as well. Unfortunately and fortunately the hotel is on the QEW and at times there is signifigant road noise. Suggest a room at rear of hotel away from highway if available.
We travelled down for football practice and the location was perfect! Close to the practice field just 2 km's and close to restaurants and shopping malls! Jack Astors' just around the corner and the Burlington Mall. Room was comfortable but dated and the pool & hot tub looked nice, our son relaxed in the hottub. He also used the gym and said it was okay. Business office had one dated desktop and a printer that did not work. Breakfast was not great, but it did provide us with food to start the day; however closed at 9am on Sunday, so we missed breakfast Sunday. I am told that they are slated to undergo renovations this year. We will most certainly stay again when in the area.
Good hotel for a team tournament. A little worn, definitely average. Location was convenient. Staff mostly friendly. Room downstairs was good for a team party and no charge. Room was clean but could use a refresh. Breakfast was just ok...
I have returned to this hotel and have gotten the same great service again. Cleanliness and amenities - and I use the little refrigerator and the microwave - check closely all aspects of the bathroom - and I couldn't find anything wrong. Great place I will return to - loved the price too!
I was treated with the utmost professional service. Manager was helpful and the staff are all professionals. I would be honoured to manage or even be employed here. The only draw back is that they need to fill the building attached to them so they may have an on site restaurant. I would highly recommend this best western Burlington to any one. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
This motel was my accommodations during my visit to Burlington for our District Convention. Even though I was early getting in my room was available before the 3 pm check in time. Although there were a couple of things that needed attention they were attended to very quickly (of which I am sure was the case only because of the quick cleaning etc. to accommodate my early check in ) The staff were very friendly from the manager to the cleaning staff. A lovely breakfast was available for all guest to enjoy. The rooms were clean and spacious and well set up for those needing a wheelchair.
We travel a lot. The staff went above all expectations when our reservation had to change do to unexpected circumstances. This will always be our go to hotel when staying in Burlington. BRAVO!!!!! Rooms were clean and breakfast was very satisfying
Clean, pleasant room, well organized for computer work, reading, editing. Highway side (north) of building has almost continual highway noise, but south side is quiet for sleep and work. Staff courteously allowed me to move because of noise.
I stayed at this hotel while in Burlington. I've found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast was fine. It was nice have access to the pool, spa, and fitness center.
Stayed here on Thanksgiving night with family. It was one of the best stays we have had at a hotel in years. Check in was quick, the room was clean and the service was wonderful. The beds were absolutely amazing. This was by far the best hotel bed we have ever had. We used the internet and pool as well as the free breakfast. All were above standards. For once we did not have a problem connecting to a hotel internet service. We will definitely stay here again in the future. T.
Staff friendly, premises look nice, good parking pool not available, closet door fell off. Breakfast room a little small for number of guests eating (at 8:15 am); all food could have been hotter (sausage patties, scrambled eggs)
Ticked quite a few boxes for us at this hotel. Room was spacious, comfy, and, user friendly. Appreciated the courtesy call just after checking in to make sure we were happy with the room and facilities. Lovely and quiet in the corridors with no noise from housekeeping staff. We would be happy to return.
we booked about 10 rooms in the hotel for family and friends. They tried to group us together in one area of the hotel. We enjoyed ourselves so much and used the pool and breakfast as places to meet together. Great staff. Very helpful.
This hotel in Burlington is very clean with modern features such as free wi-fi and breakfast included. The rooms are spacious with all the amenities we have come to expect at BW. I recommend this hotel as good value for money, convenient location and friendly staff.
great place close to the go train for a trip to see the Blue Jays. Comfortable rooms good breakfast. great staff. less than 3 minutes to the go train did a walk in reservation friendly greeting and clean comfortable rooms
I stayed at the Best Western Plus last week while in Burlington for work. I stayed on the ground level for 2 nights! While it was very close to where I was working I found that upon check-in we were not greeted with the friendliest front desk agent. We arrived at approximately 11:30am and I figured when I arrived the room may not be ready as check-in time was at 3pm; however, I figured I could leave my luggage and leave the hotel. Upon arrival the front desk agent said "you can't check in it's not even close to 3pm" I responded with I understand and may I leave my baggage here... the response was somewhere along the lines of "I guess....". He took my bags and barely said 2 other words to me. I went out for a bit and came back after 3pm to check-in, different front desk agents on and they were a bit friendlier. Once I checked-in I looked around the room and thought it was very standard but clean; however, the bathroom definitely wasn't cleaned to proper standards. There was some small hairs around the outside of tub and inside the bathtub where the "grip stickers" on the tub must have been worn down were now filthy and black. Definitely needing some TLC. Throughout the night I could hear people upstairs so if booking I would recommend asking to stay higher up then the ground level but this is really all you can do and happens in most hotels. Breakfast was a nice feature and had a good selection and thankfully check-out was much more efficient and friendly.
I am a regular guest, several times a month and I can only rave about the staff, management and high standards that are maintained here at this location. I have been staying here for approximately 8-10 years and it is by far, my first choice and I am never disappointed.
What can i say, everything was amazing, rooms were nice food was good, pool was great, staff was amazing, i know where to send my clients in the future. Great job guys. Oh there is a gas station across the parking lot and a subway sandwich shop to. A+
Very good experience. Great location south of Toronto, far nicer and much less expensive than Toronto. Very nice facility, very friendly staff. Easy to find off QEW expressway on way to Toronto. Nice breakfast options. Very clean.
I just want to preface this by saying I was staying at the Holiday Inn right by this and that it was terrible (way to expensive for what you get out of it) so last minute decided to switch to this hotel my last night in Burlington. I cannot rave about this place enough!! I was a grump walking in the door and the front desk gentleman was helpful, friendly and upgraded my room!! I booked just a standard and they upgraded me to a king suite. It was awesome. I haven't had breakfast to give advice on it, but even if its dry toast I will still love this place! 2 thumbs up! I will definitely be a Best Western-er moving forward. Thank you!!
Room was spotless, great location, super breakfast staff go above and beyond to meet any requests. I've stayed there many times over the past months and would recommend this Best Western Plus to any of my family and friends.
The location was close to amenities, the staff was excellent and the room was extremely comfortable and very spacious. There was also a gym that we did not use but had what you needed for a workout; and the pool was very inviting. Will definitely stay here again for business or pleasure.
Only 1 thing was the bathtub, couldn't lay back in it which made it uncomfortable. After being out for the day, a long soak was all I wanted but the ridge at the back made it impossible. I would stay again because of the location.
Stayed here with family during house renovations. Nice hotel, liked the pool and fitness centre. The breakfast was also better than most hotels we have stayed at. Have to agree with previous posters about the low pressure showers. Also noticed that the walls were pretty thin, could hear our neighbours quite clearly. Staff was great and the price was right!
Room was spacious, clean and very nice with the exception of the shower head, no water pressure and a very narrow tub, which was slippery and no safety bar! Good location, good breakfast and staff was very good.
We stayed here for 3 nights went to the States and re booked for our last 2 nights. The people were very friendly and helpful. All the staff were involved in making our stay superb. The breakfast was very good and spotless. The rooms spacious and clean. Great location just off the QEW giving you plenty of scope to get around. Some nice restrauants in the area. 5 minutes from Burlington Mall.
We stayed here for over 10 days. The hotel is to close to the freeway and so there was constant traffic noise, even at 3 AM! The water pressure in the shower was not great even after the maintenance people looked at it. The toilet was loose from the floor and was never repaired. The hot tub timer was temperamental. There was rarely any towels for the swimming pool and hot tub. Access card reader to the exercise room didn't work and again was not fixed. The only positive is the staff. They were friendly and courteous. Breakfast room hours were too short. (6AM to 9AM)
Quite cosy, good location. The breakfast is really very nice though the restaurant is quite small and can feel choked when occupancy is high. The indoor pool and hot tub was fun. And with warm and friendly staff, my family had a great time.
So we spent 6 nights here beginning of August after our move back to Canada from overseas. This hotel was a 5* to us. It had everything we could want and more!!!! There was a salt water pool and a Jacuzzi tub, small gym, breakfast was plenty and the staff were so nice. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are roomy with a bathtub (we just moved back from Germany where hotels in Europe suck!!!) we had plenty of room to move around. We also had our own fridge microwave coffee maker etc... easy access to Hwy walking distance to the closest mall.
Summer weekend, and all hotels in Niagara area were full; and only available were too pricey. Driving out from Ottawa, we booked and stopped at Best Western Burlington to rest for the night and keep going early morning. Good decision: excellent beds, nice room, and excellent breakfast the next day, all set since 6 am, so can hit the road at 7, be in Niagara in 1 hour, spend the day, and be back in Ottawa or Montreal on the evening. Good service and good price.
Great hotel, clean and close to restaurants. Check in was easy with no issues, check out quick and seamless. Parking is free. Room was clean and they upgraded us at no extra charge. Quiet location as well, even with the highway close by. Would stay here again.
Upon arriving check in was Breezy. Breakfast was as expected. There is one lady that does the cooking I am not sure of her name however she made our week stay very pleasant :-) our housekeeper for the week I wanted to bring back to the states with me!!! Oksana you are truly an amazing person! Our rooms were made every day and I know that you stayed late because we weren't ready for you to clean but you still stayed in cleaned them anyways :-) there were a few glitches but that is with any place that you go to honestly. I did have one problem with another guest she was very greedy and every morning took all the bananas and the danishes LOL the hotel made it very easy fix they accommodated us nicely. Now I do see that there are a lot of reviews here and some not-so-nice however I'm going to put pictures of our room so you can see for yourself. We were accommodated for the pool and hot tub very nice :-) This destination here has very easy on off to the ways. There are plenty of things to do we are smack dab between Niagara Falls and Toronto. Friendliest staff you will ever encounter!
the staff were helpful, the pool was good size not too deep for kids, fitness room attached also has a hot tub the breakfast was very good kepted fresh and clean by the staff hotel near interchange but heard no traffic noise
Nice clean room and comfortable bed (although pillows were way soft for my liking). Breakfast was outstanding both mornings with menu changes day to day. So awesome to get breakfast, parking, free wi-fi, fridge and microwave in-room...plus indoor pool. Wonderfully helpful staff at front desk and at breakfast. Highly rescommend this hotel.
Great location in a lovely city. Excellent stay for my daughter and grandchildren. Kids lived in the pool! Reception had their room prepared for early booking (as requested).since they came from Northern ON. Thank you Best Western.....
This hotel is located conveniently off Hwy 403/QEW between Niagara Falls and Toronto. Lots of parking space and exterior of hotel is quite attractive. Room is decent and quite comfortable, AC, TV, fridge and internet all worked well. However the cleanliness inside the washroom needed attention. The floor, corners, bath tub, etc. Otherwise it's a good and comfortable stay.
not worth the value, would not recommend, breakfast room was a zoo, complete turn off for the stay. water pressure very low, broken shower head, could not even supply cup lids for take out coffees.young girl at counter was very helpful with directions.will be a last resort for us to to return.
The staff at this hotel were helpful and accommodating to all my requests. I enjoyed my stay and while I would not consider the room to be luxurious, it had everything I needed. The bathroom could use an update though and the face cloths I encountered were fit for the garbage. A very noisy AC unit that I couldn't get to stabilize left me with an average sleep in an otherwise comfortable bed.
This is a decent hotel with pros and cons. We chose this place because of the free breakfast. The breakfast was good but it's served in a small room so you may not get a table if you don't get there at a good time. Another good aspect of this place is the pool. It's a salt water pool and is kept clean and it was nice to have a hot tub. A con would have to be the house keeping. Our room really wasn't "cleaned" over the period of 10 days. We had our beds made and towels were changed but there were times they only left 2 towels for the 4 of us. Also the beds weren't the most comfortable I've slept in at a hotel. Overall it's an ok place to stay with the family and it's priced right.
... through Canada from Ludington MI to Boston. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, the breakfast good, and the service courteous. It's far enough out of Toronto that the traffic is not absolutely terrible. My stay was almost ruined before it began by a parking lot repaving foreman. He tried to keep me from driving to the parking nearest my room, which I needed due to a very bad ankle problem.
Just a short review from our overnight stay. The room was okay, but the bathroom was not clean - hair in the bath and on the floor. The floor still had some stains (not sure what they were). No towels in the bathroom when we checked in. Pool and hot tub were ok. Best part was the breakfast. It was a busy, but thanks to Madge, she kept the food coming and went out of her way to ensure everyone was taken care of. Well done Madge. You made our stay much better with your gracious hospitality. Wifi very poor.
This was the closest and most reasonably priced motel we could find near Hamilton where we were going to see Paul McCartney in concert. I believe the price was jacked up a bit because of that (the concert), but the same was true for all lodgings in a twenty mile radius of Hamilton. The concert was great and we got back to the motel quite late, but the clerk said we could check-out late in the morning. It was a good thing because we overslept and didn't get out until nearly noon. We missed breakfast, but had a great stay. I would recommend staying at this Best Western.
This hotel was very clean, the staff was very helpful and the bed was excellent. The pool was a little cool, but there was plenty of parking and it is close to a lot of great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
Nothing fancy. Pool and hot tub could use updating. No shampoo in the room, and the AC didnt seem to be cold enough. Room was clean. Breakfast was ok.. sausage wasn't very good. Internet in the room worked. Parking wasn't a problem. I liked that parking, breakfast and wi fi were included.
I stayed here for work one night. Very friendly front desk. Room was nice and clean. Faced the highway so there was some traffic noise. Looked like the room had been refurbished in the last couple of years. The bed was comfy. The only downfall on the room was the original bath tub. Probably would rate a 3 star if the tub was replaced with a nice shower. Indoor pool. Wifi was fast and worked great. The breakfast is served in a room off the lobby. The room was large with lots of tables. I thought the breakfast was good. Terrible coffee. I would stay here again.
The hotel itself is good, location in Burlington is great. And this is why I have stayed here a few times over the last year or so. The issue is the breakfast and the limited number of staff. The breakfast is not up to Best Western standards,,, the breakfast room is very small and it is only open to 9a but the worst is the quality of the food! Powder eggs and the same type sausages for 2 years! The same 2 staff members that work the breakfast (6a-9a) are also the cleaning staff so one breakfast is done they start maid service and are done at 4p. I've had them come to my room at 350p to clean, I'm just getting ready to go out for dinner and was told that if they can't get in NOW they won't be back. If you're not a big breakfast person then this is a good hotel for you
We stayed for 5 days..rates were very reasonable. Convenient location for visiting in the area. Rooms were clean, beds comfy, and pool refreshing. The front desk little gal (sorry no name) was very pleasant and accommodating...others (males) not so....Breakfast was good....special kudos to the gal who baked fresh cinnamon rolls and passed them around with coffee refills... It would be nice to have benches outside in the front to sit on....
The staff was very courteous. Anything I requested they were up right away to deliver. Room was clean. Will stay again when I am in the area. Would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a place to stay in Burlington.
I'm a regular guest here and im changing my name for this review to see if this hotel will make changes that they keep telling me will change. Where to start, staff is to busy on cellphones to greet you and all of them are very bad at recommending a nice place to eat and directions, it's like they don't even know the city very well. The room was ok, hair in the bathroom and on the towels, which are seen folded by the front desk, that can't be sanitary. Housekeepers like to tell their stories pretty loud between the rooms, across the hall, doesn't matter which guests or kids hear. Breakfast was a joke, stale .99cent bread loafs, eggs sit in a steam bath so it's a big brick after a few minutes, milk is kept in coffee jugs which smell at the top so it must be getting refilled before getting washed. Also housekeepers and staff are seen taking food before or with the guests.. Umm ok?? Key locks to certain rooms and the outside side doors work when they want, nothing seems to get fixed and if they do it's definitely not done properly as the "fix" doesn't last long. Unless you have to stay here for location or work reasons, just go to comfort inn or holiday inn, I'll be there soon!
We just stayed for 5 days because rates were reasonable. The place was clean and accurately represented the pictures. Not a good spot if you want to walk to anyplace. The owner showed up one day publicly reprimanded a few employees and it was very uncomfortable to see it. Not very professional.
Stayed here for 1 night everything you could ask for friendly efficient staff. Room was very clean and the pool was amazing too. Also made use of the gym and breakfast was very good a choice of hot and cold all well presented and flavoursome. Can't wait to return.
I chose this hotel because it had an indoor salt water pool. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room very clean and pleasant, the included breakfast had both hot and cold treats and a make your own pancake or waffle, and lots of drink choices. The pool was excellent — a real treat after a day on the road. No dining room but lots of great restaurants less than a five minute drive away.
This hotel is in a great location, clean, updated, spacious, friendly staff, great hot breakfast and the value for what you pay is unreal. I just stayed there on business for a week and it was great. I would highly recommend booking here.
We wanted a few days away in the Toronto area, and we wanted a pool and hot tub. Clean hotel, courteous staff and a free breakfast. We had a very enjoyable time. We caught the GO Train to Toronto for the day and enjoyed a quiet restful sleep. Good trip.
Staff and breakfast are good but furniture in room is so old. bathroom was not that clean. Probably they need to fix some stuff in bathroom. Internet connection was TERRIBLE. Very slow wifi. Overall, not bad for one night or two, but not more definitely.
We came very late to the hotel and saw the pool, guy at desk offered to keep it open even longer because of our late arrival. Great stuff in breakfast and everyone trying to make it a great stay.!!!!!
A wonderful stay at the Best Western PLUS Burlington Inn & Suites, in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable hotel with a great looking indoor pool, and free delicious breakfast. Definetely would recommend to stay here.
We stayed at the Bestwestern Suites Inn and were very pleased. We enjoyed our hot breakfast every morning. The kitchen staff were so friendly and helpful. The one lady was so sweet she even brought my daughter some waffle blueberries to put a smile on her face. We enjoyed seeing her each morning. The housekeeping staff were always so busy. But would always stop to say hello and ask if you needed anything. Or if they could help you in anyway. And finally the desk staff. They were also very friendly and helpful. We stay at this hotel every year. My children enjoy the pool and hot tub. It is a good size for our needs. Also. For the breakfast. It would be nice if it went till 10am instead of of just 6am-9am. That way we could sleep in a bit more. But it's worth getting up for. Overall. This is our hotel of choice when we stay in Burlington. Holly D.
Always a great hotel to stay at. Been here a few times when on business in Oakville. Great and caring staff. Great value for what you pay. Will come back again. Great proximity to downtown and business are of Oakville.
No restaurant on site but within walking distance to half a dozen goods places. Very quiet hotel, and an excellent breakfast included. Rooms are up to date and clean, tho there were some funky smells when we first walked in, I think it's there cleaning supplies, as I stayed here a week prior and had the same experience in a different room...hmmmm
great staff and service. location is great.. well lit and very nice breakfast. rooms are large and clean.very comfortable bed had a nice sleep.rate was a great value for money. free parking always helps will certainly return to this hotel.
Clean enough but lacks any extras. Dont be late for their inconvenient and low choice breakfast...they lock the door promptly at 9a.m. Staff is nice enough if they aren't talking on their cell phones.
Used points, didn't want to use a lot. Was there for a sleep, and that's about it. Upon check in, agent gave me a wheelchair accessible room for some reason. I called from room asking for room with a tub, which he then seemed to realize he gave me a room meant for a person with a wheelchair. I went downstairs at nearly 2 am after an arduous drive from Montreal, to have the agent say that sometimes when using points, Expedia requests accessible rooms, which was clearly not true, because when I asked for a room with a tub, he was stumped that he'd actually given me one. Just be honest and tell me you made a mistake, it's fine, but no lying at 2 am.. After being given the other room (the second furthest from the desk at 2 am) thank you, we get to a reasonably clean room (the place was empty, not sure if there wasn't any closer ones) I was brushing my teeth, and noticed some dried urine next to the toilet, just take a moment please to make sure that isn't present for your guests please. All in all, it's fine. I avoided the Motel 6 because I thought the $59 per night would have meant a sacrifice, but I think I will try that and save some money, as this BW room, in my opinion, isn't worth more.
We checked in for one night. Check in was easy, finding the room was easy. A nice clean room 2 queen beds. Grab bars in the shower/tub area would have been helpful for my parents. Our stay was short and I did not have enough time to use the pool. It looked very inviting, especially the hot tub.
As a location for the tournament in Hamilton, this was a got place to be as its close to the 403 and QEW. Hotel was clean, beds were comfy, staff are great. Unfortunately there is no common area for the group to gather in the evening as we have had in other hotels, and the breakfast was rated as poor by everyone
Quiet hotel that is easy to get to and clean. The hot tub area is clean, large and comfortable with only one drawback; the timer has a maximum setting of 5 minutes and has a delayed start, so really you just barely get into the tub and relax and a few minutes later you have to get out to start it again. Room was large and clean. I had a King Size bed with children's size itsy bitsy pillows. The bed was comfortable but not pillows. As with many budget hotels, bargain coffee and paper cups. Lots of free parking and restaurants nearby if you are driving. When I booked I was sure that it mentioned a continental breakfast was available but neither the check in clerk or on checkout was I told about it and I didn't find anything. While check in was quick, no information about surrounding area or breakfast was offered and the booklet in the room was for 2015 events so not helpful to a guest.
We checked in here for 3 nights. Check in went well. It was quick. We got to our room and were impressed at how clean it looked. The more we went through the room the more we realized whoever the cleaning person is is not doing there job well. We found a pair of socks brand new in the room. We found a jbl headphone guide next to the bed. There was some kind of mold in the shower area. Over all someone needs to properly clean these rooms. Our room was room 209. The room has a tv, fridge, 3 piece ensuite, king size bed. Desk to work at as well. Our experience in the hot tub was that the jets were not working. The pool was warm. The gym was basic but not a lit of people used it. There was a continental breakfast which jad the options of yogurt, waffles, hard boiled eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, danish and cereal.
Close to highway and restaurants, easy to find, lot of parking spots. The in-room water pressure is weak. During my stay, the hot tub is not working properly. But it's fixed after we come back from dinner.
Good hotel, just like you would expect a Best Western to be...I stayed only one night would have loved to stay longer...didn't have a business requirement for that. The only thing I might want reviewed is requesting to place a hold on my Credit Card for incidentals despite the fact that I am a BW Rewards Diamond Card holder. I would also like the opportunity to order a freshly made Spanish Omlete / Denver Omelete made to my taste as part of the breakfast...maybe the BW class has to be upgraded?
This place was amazing, staff was friendly and polite. Continental breakfast was nice. The room was decorated tastefully. Excellent cleaning service room was amazingly cleaned everyday. Has a swimming pool and fitness center. Hotel has WiFi and lots of channels. Can not complain about anything, even the price for the week was a fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed for 5 days, Place was amazing, the staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was cleaned and everything in order everyday...comfortable and quite...would stay again. They have a fitness center and a swimming pool which was very nice.
I enjoyed my stay and everything was good. The hotel is clean and quite with a decent size pool good hot breakfast. Close by major roads, shopping centres and restaurants. This hotel is good whether you are with a family or on business.
I stayed in a king jr. suite that had ample space, nice opening windows, modern décor, a great tv with a good channel system, high ceilings and most importantly a really comfortable bed. A well looked after full breakfast buffet was offered and we ate hot and grabbed fruit to go. I wasn't thrilled with the bathroom, a bit small, but mostly didn't like the coffee machine and condiments located there and it needed a new shower curtain or a good cleaning. Rectifiable problems. Yours sincerely!
Friendly staff, clean rooms and quiet. Pretty typical side of the highway kind of neighborhood so expect 4 lane roads and strip malls, but its an easy hop back on the QEW to get to more exciting places or a great place to recover overnight from a road trip.
Breakfast always cold and not much variety. My room was always cold. Internet did not work most of the time. Old Furniture and washroom. Very small gym and pool. Very noisy. I would recommend people not to go there. I would recommend people not to go there. I would recommend people not to go there.
I set up a group block of rooms at this property in hopes that they would be a good hotel for my client, but management has been entirely unprofessional and unresponsive in their communication with me. I recommend avoiding doing business with this hotel.
Stayed there one night on a Friday. During the night, the hotel was really quiet. We took the 1 king bed. The room was big and the bed was amazing. The hot breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, sausage and hash brown. Free parking is included. Wi-fi was fast.
I booked in here for one night as I had an early meeting the next day. The hotel was as expected. Very clean, mostly quiet, a nice quality room, no thrills, but also not a let down. The room was very clean, the bathroom was spacious and also clean. My room was on the highway side, and there was a bit of noise, but once I put the fan of the heating unit on it drowned out all the noise. I really needed wifi for the trip to get business done and the connection was very fast and reliable which was awesome. I was worried about a good nights sleep as there appeared to be a hockey team staying at the hotel, but it looked like the front desk did a great job keeping the team together and other guests separate. I didn't hear anything which was also very welcome. Breakfast was included and was okay, pretty much what you would expect from a free hotel breakfast, but still nice to have included. Staff was very friendly and for a night or two this is a great place to stay.
Stayed at this hotel for three days. Very Fast WiFi, Great Breakfast, and free parking. First day was fine. The next two nights the people next door were very loud, fighting and kept us up all night long. I complained to the front desk after the first night of noise and not only did the employee seem not surprised but I wasn't offered an apology, just a I'll look into that as he hopped on his computer. The noise continued throughout the day and into the next morning. Because of this we checked out of the room and went next door to Canada's Best Value Inn, which was half the price, the room was bigger, was recently updated, and came with a Kitchenette, Couch with pullout sleeper and a side Chair. Can't say I wouldn't rent from Best Western again, just maybe not this location. For the $235 a night we spent. We expected much much better!!
I had a very nice and quiet stay here. The room was clean and large enough to be comfortable, not crowded. Pool is great. Check in was awesome. Only downfall? There was no vending machine on my floor (and if there was, I certainly couldn't find it). This is the only negative remark I have about this place. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here, and it's a decent option to consider if you're going to be in Burlington.
This Best Western Plus hotel is good, as you may expect from Best Western Plus hotels. However, it is hard to mention something in which it excels. The room was good, clean. Bathroom was good, clean, although it is getting a little bit old. Breakfast was good, although I have had it better in some other Best Western hotels. Saturday was very busy and we took our breakfast to our room because there was no place in the breakfast room. It's on the freeway, very convenient, while at the same time it is quiet. Sufficient parking space. Good location, close to stores and shopping mall. Staff is friendly, as usual. Again, nothing special to mention. All as you may expect.
We stayed at the BW Plus on our way to meet friends in the area. The bed and bedding were so comfortable. Our little in-room coffee maker was not working and within 10 minutes of calling reception we had a replacement. Service was great. Morning breakfast had enough choices to fill you up and get you going.
Awakened during my first night by extremely noisy heating unit. Had to pack, move to another room, unpack, and then get back to sleep for 5:30 am rise time. No one offered to assist me with this, nor did they offer any compensation for a lousy night's sleep. Not even point for my BW card. Couldn't get the manager to speak to me during my 5-day stay either. In the new room, the tub backed-up a dirty grey scum while I was showering. I had to make a special effort to clean my feet after that. Didn't use the shower after that. I have stayed at BW hotels many times over the last couple of years and I like them. This one isn't horrible, they just need to step up their maintenance and be more preventative about it than just reactive (though I think they have been skimping there, too). If they fixed the issues that I have mentioned, I would recommend this hotel to others. It's just that a missed night's sleep (2 out of 4 this time) is not acceptable. A good night's sleep is the primary purpose of a hotel after all.
I stayed here for a couple nights on business in early January. Given its very low rating (2.5 stars) my expectations were low, and fortunately it did exceed those expectations. The location turned out to be not that great for me – perfect if you want to be near the highway though. Staff were friendly but not as helpful as could be. There was a pool and hot tub but I did not get the chance to use either. I don't know whether they have a gym. I did go to the breakfast, which ends quite early (9 am) but never a problem getting food. The waffle maker konked out on the second day but I was happy with eggs and yogurt. They also give out free newspapers in the lobby – something many 4 and 5 star hotels refuse to do. The water pressure in the shower could have been better but hey, it's 2.5 star. The reviews are right that you hear noise in the hallway - fortunately it was during the week and I had few neighbours. Otherwise no complaints about the room. Good selection on the TV. Kinda funny that they like to paint themselves as "environmental", asking guests to reuse towels and sheets, but then at the breakfast all the cups, plates and cutlery are throwaway. That should be changed. Note that the hotel is in the middle of a rather tourist-unfriendly area. I took a city bus from the GO Station and it's not the easiest place to reach on foot (got off the bus at Burlington Mall). The neighbourhood is all cars, I walked around a fair bit and only saw one other pedestrian the whole trip. There is a great sushi place nearby – Bento Sushi – and that's actually a main reason I chose this hotel. About 10-15 minute walk away. If you want to be closer to downtown, stay somewhere else, but if you don't care about that, and just want to be near the highway, I could recommend this hotel.
This is the hotel of choice when we come to Burlington. Clean, friendly with good facilities. The location is very good for access to Toronto or Niagara Falls. For us though, it is conveniently located close to where our children live.
Hotel is nice. Warm lobby. Breakfast okay. Coffee not that great :( ... Room with King Bed, fridge, microwave. Clean. Nice bed. I prefer Fairfield/Marriott. Staff is VERY nice however. For the price we paid, expected a bit more ($130) .. STAFF is very nice. Perhaps have music in the main lobby. Very quiet. It was days before Christmas. Have some FA LA LA for new guests.
I wanted to have a one night getaway with my kids and wanted it to be convenient for my hubby who was working to join us for the night. I picked this hotel because I wanted a pool for the kids to enjoy and I wanted breakfast included. This place was perfect. The pool is small but the kids didn't need anything else. They had a blast jumping in and swimming around. We used it both in the evening before supper and in the morning before checking out and both times we were the only ones. Breakfast was great. There was plenty to choose from and it was very tasty. The staff were great too. They helped with whatever needs we had and they were great with my kids too. Thanks.
overall the stay was very good, friendly staff will to help, rooms are a bit dated but very clean. lots of road noise from the highway. the area is close to some really nice places to eat and shopping is not very far away.
Nice Room, upgraded on arrival to the hotel. The Best Western loyalty program is a Plus. I always enjoy the comfortable bed and crisp clean linens. The staff was helpful with my computer issues. I did not have breakfast, not my thing, but a lid for my takeout coffee cup would have been helpful.
Located just off the QEW. Would be a good base for trips into Toronto or the Niagara region. The room was spacious and comfortable with modern decor. Friendly staff. A typical selection of items for breakfast (eggs, waffles, sausage, bread, bagels, fruit), with sufficient quantities available to fill us up.
This hotel had easy access from the QEW after a long drive from Ottawa. Met my expectations for staff professionalism, room cleanliness and comfort. My room had a bathtub which I prefer. Many new hotels with only showers. Breakfast was part of the deal which I enjoyed with quality choice and helpful staff.
Booked through Expedia an entire trip, including this hotel for a last minute urgent trip for a funeral. Shared a room with a brother. This was a great deal for us and convenient to all the places we needed to get to. Would definitely use again for "Business like" trip. Probably not so good for travelling with kids.
My colleague and I shared a room for one night at the Best Western Plus in Burlington on Queensway while we attended a conference. Although the motel was located on a busy street and faced the very busy QEW highway, our room was exceptionally quiet. We didn't hear any traffic noise during our stay; even though we kept the window open all night. Our room was located at the back of the motel, so I don't know what the traffic noise would be like at the front of the motel. The room was clean and modern. The two queen-size beds were very comfortable, and each bed had four fluffy pillows and a comfy duvet. There were lots of bathroom towels, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, a coffee machine with coffee packs, an alarm clock, a bar fridge, and a microwave in the room. Although there wasn't a hair dryer, there was an ironing board and an iron. The free Wi-Fi was easy to access with the user name and password provided by the front desk. There was desk in the room so we could easily use our laptop and tablet. Bring your swim suit and work-out clothes, as there is a swimming pool and an exercise room on site. Parking was free. The free breakfast was better than most motels I have visited. Breakfast was available from 6:00 AM until 9:00 AM. There were scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, bacon, pan-fried potatoes, make-your-own waffles, yogurt, a variety of cereals, muffins, toast, bagels, fresh pastries, jams, peanut butter, cream cheese, coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, and fruit. Although the coffee was weak, the rest of the breakfast was tasty and filling. The staff members were kind and pleasant…check-in and check-out was fast and efficient. I would definitely stay there again.
We stay at this hotel 3-4 times a year. We go visit our son and grandkids that live up there. The reason we chose this hotel is because it is so close not only to their home but there is lots to do around there. Lots of shopping. The rooms are quite comfortable and the lobby is pleasant to sit in. Especially in the winter months to just relax by the t,v. and enjoy the warmth of their fireplace. They also offer a free continental breakfast in the morning. Quite tasty and a good balance to choose from. Especially if you just want something light. There is tons of parking and pretty well lit at night as well. The pool is also pretty good. Could use a bit of an upgrade on their hot tubfacility though. Not very warm and the jets are not that strong. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are passing through the area. Also very close to main highways so you're not searching all over trying to find a comfy bed to lay your head on after a long days drive.
I was recently visiting family, along with my mom and 11-month old daughter. We decided to stay at the Best Western Plus because of its location and because we had stayed there in the past and had a positive experience. This time, it seemed like we were constantly disappointed with the room and service staff. While not all of the following are really a big deal, I think it shows that there are some serious housekeeping and management issues that have affected the quality of this hotel. We will not stay here again. RESERVATION ISSUES The room was listed as a two bedroom suite and cost $250 a night. We had assumed this meant a small kitchen/lounge area with two bedrooms off of it. There was only one bedroom. The manager explained that the main area is considered the second bedroom because of the pull out couch. We felt this was somewhat misleading. ROOM CONDITION/CLEANLINESS There was no blow dryer in the room (the front desk clerk was able to find a replacement after considerable effort). There were construction materials along the wall in the hallway next to our room. The toilet was finicky (it would not stop flushing sometimes without jiggling the handle). The shower faucet came off in my hand. There was only one lamp in the bedroom, which made the room very dim and difficult to see. When I wiped down the fridge handle, brown/black dirt came off. There was a cherry stem in the sink. HOUSEKEEPING ISSUES Room service did not clean the room the second day. We took the "do not disturb" sign down before 11:00am. When I asked the front desk clerk if our room would be cleaned (around 4:00pm) he just said no, housekeeping had left for the day. I asked for 4 clean towels and he was able to come up with 3. MANAGEMENT When these concerns were brought up to the front desk at checkout, we were told that this was mostly a housekeeping issue (as though that was not her concern) and that she could give us a whopping $25 credit. The bill was over $800. The manager was standing right there, but did not offer any apology or any interest in the situation. BREAKFAST On a more positive note, the complimentary breakfast was very good, except that it ended too early, at 9:00am. The breakfast hostess was very friendly and accommodating. OVERALL IMPRESSION A quick glance around this hotel and it would seem to be adequately clean and somewhat up-to-date. But a closer look shows a serious lack of care, customer service and attention to detail. I felt we paid a high price tag for (at best) discount hotel treatment.
Attrractive exterior and lobby. Lots of parking. Helpful staff, nice amenities. Salt Water Pool was inviting, but had no time to enjoy. There were no problems with the room, at all. No issues with cleanliness and check-out was a breeze. We even liked the shampoo!
this hotel
