"Average stay in Brussels"
Tom P, 03 Avril 2024

Arrived at the hotel and realised I had booked two rooms which were meant for 4 people, but I had booked for 2 only, therefore we had to pay a small fee before checking in, my fault though! Our hotel rooms were much smaller than we thought we were getting. The city view was literally a side view of a building. We had towels in the draw, one of them had a very suspicious brown stain on it. I took to reception and got changed immediately. The beds were quite comfy, and the facilities were ok although the room was much smaller than we thought were getting. But no real issue. If I was to book here again, I would go for the larger room. The staff weren't the most friendly in the world but weren't rude. The location isn't bad but not that close to all the attractions. Pretty average stay in all. Cannot complain too much, but at the same time cannot sing the praises of the BEST WESTERN. Not a bad price for what you receive. Cannot comment on breakfast as we did not dine here, but I believe it was continental only.

"decent hotel with a fair price"
think24htravel, 11 Mars 2024

A fair hotel in terms of price. The rooms have rather small bathrooms and the furniture is a little outdated, but they are comfortable. The staff at the reception welcoming. It is a recommended hotel for those who want something in a better area, who do not want to stay in the lobby area to drink a beer at the bar, and who want a decent price. What I didn't like was the lobby area where no bar was open, and everything seemed outdated and without any animation, any lounge music, without the possibility to drink a coffee/beer, etc.

"Perfect location"
Rob T, 25 Janvier 2024

Stayed there on a very snowy day. Very welcome reception in the morning. Always nice to be welcomed with a smile. I enjoyed the room which was exceptionally clean and nice. But most importantly the reason for the five dots is the location. This hotel is easy to reach and in the middel of everything. From the European Union buildings to the city center. All can be visited by a quick walk.

"Nice hotel in a reasonable locatiln"
Somepeople291, 07 Janvier 2024

Nice clean and friendly hotel in a good location about five minutes walk from the Cirque Royale concert venue. My friend and I were able to check in early. Bathroom is very small, good shower. There was a safe and a fridge in the room. A bit of a longer walk into the city centre and the Grand Place.

"Visit to Brussels for Christmas Market"
V4320IZsarahp, 03 Décembre 2023

Arrived very early but the gentleman on reception put himself out to see whether we could be accommodated early and he was able to check us in which we were very grateful for because we had had a very early start. The room was really nice bed really comfortable lovely bathroom.Although we had to pay for our continental breakfast it was very nice. Our travel plug did not work and reception lent us one. We decided to extend our stay for one more night and the hotel was able to help us with this. All staff were friendly and helpful it was our first trip to Brussels. The reception booked some taxis for which was great. Would definitely stay again

"A good choice"
Conway P, 05 Septembre 2023

A very pleasant venue ,close to cathedral, clean and comfortable, the staff were very helpful and polite. We enjoyed our stay very much and also we had a good view from our window balcony. Breakfast was absolutely fine and most adequate.

"5 Days in Bruxelles"
Ddiadianna, 20 Octobre 2022

Best Western Royal Centre is a hotel worth staying at if you want to visit Brussels. It is located in an accessible area, 6 minutes from the Parc metro station and 10 minutes from the central train station (Gare Centrale). From the hotel you can easily reach the city center on foot, taking about 15 minutes. We choose a double room with a queen-size bed, spacious and clean. We stayed four nights, and someone came to clean the room daily. The room had a TV, fridge, kettle, and heating. You should pay attention to all the details when you enter the room because we had a problem with the window, which did not close and there was noise and cold in the room. They proved their professionalism and changed it for us. Also, if you go in a cold period, be careful and ask the receptionist to turn on the heating system, because if you don't ask, it might not work. You can also opt for breakfast, but we didn't, so we only had coffee, which cost 3 euros, and it was delicious. Overall, it was a pleasant experience that I recommend.

"Like Brussels"
Anthony S, 27 Août 2022

Perfect location and nicely priced. Hotel rooms were reasonably well sized and decorated modern. There was an issue with the safe in two rooms before we finally settled in the third room as the safes in both did not work. I was a bit disappointed with the attitude of the one receptionist who we got the impression seemed to think it was our fault but nevertheless the other young receptionist was very helpful and helped us changed rooms. Overall a good stay here and would recommend.

"Best Western in Bruxelles"
andreasarrica, 17 Août 2022

The hotel is centrally located along one of Bruxelles main roads and in an office area. Rooms are comfortable and very well shielded from the road noise, except bathrooms are very small. Place is clean staff kind and professional. Breakfast appears to be not that hype for the cost.

"Excellent choise"
Chryssanthi P, 08 Juin 2022

Fine location at the center of Brussels. Cozy, renovated and clean rooms. Rich and high quality breakfast. Sally, the reservations responsible, and the rest of the staff were friendly, efficient and made sure we had a great trip. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

"Loud ventilation system"
krist5791, 23 Mai 2022

Thanks good I was so tired that I could sleep but the ventilation system was roaring all the time. Also the place was too far from everywhere, I'd chose an other one. But they had warm breakfast and clean rooms.

"Amazing location, great facilities & super friendly staff"
mrjuliosendra, 20 Avril 2022

I spent 8 nights at the Best Western Hotel in Brussels and I will definitely be back. The location is very convenient, the facilities are very modern and everything was spotless. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed every second of my stay.

"Dust!"
rovingred16, 29 Décembre 2021

I think the room was cleaned and made-up in 2019 before COVID closed down the travel. The room was full of dust, and really affected my hayfever. The pillows are pathetic and I used the cushions from the lounge. The walls are as thin as paper, you can hear the neighbours coming and going (quite literally) I think i slept peacefully for 3 hours if that. The room was very spacious, however the bath room was not. So tiny the overspray from the shower goes into the toilet. Don't try and sit down on the toilet unless you're a contortionist.

"Weekend break"
Martin P, 09 Mars 2020

It is classed as 3 star hotel and that is exactly what it is. Helpful staff. Good location for centre. Slightly cheaper than other hotels in area. Room was on 6th floor. Perfectly adequate except for bathroom. Tiny! To stand and use toilet, you had to stand at angle so as not to be burnt by radiator. Don't get me started on number two's. No room at all. If you get Eorostar to Midi station be aware of being fleeced. Going cost 17€. Coming back only 10£.

"Close to every thing"
larsgravgaardhansen, 06 Mars 2020

If you want to discover Bruxelles and need a central placed hotel, I can recommend this hotel. Close to the parlament, EU commision and to the historic city center. This is the place. Small room, but functionally.

"Happy with my stay"
benerandaesparza, 25 Janvier 2020

I love the location. The front clerk was very helpful with my check in. Their is renovations going on but as we check in we went to eat break and see the city, when we came back to hotel their was no one doing work it was quietly.

"Disappointing"
Captain2007, 14 Novembre 2019

Nice location, nice room but the heating doesn't work! I arrived to my room-it was very cold. I turned the heating on-after having the heating on for 10 hours the room was still cold-14 degrees at best. There was a “plug in” heater in the room (this worked but the base of it was broken). I plugged the heater in for a while before going to bed. I wasn't happy to leave it on for safety reasons while I slept. The breakfast was nice but the breakfast area was also cold. Bring your heavy jumpers/ fleece.

"My Visit"
Marybwhite, 29 Septembre 2019

The hotel was very nice the bed was comfortable the staff was amazing. The only thing that was hard was the noise from the emergency service that was always around. But overall I would say that this was a amazing place to stay for my week there.

"Great Location"
hop4pen, 28 Septembre 2019

Stayed for 1 night. Close to Grand Place and attractions-10 min walk. Staff friendly, breakfast not included(was 15 euros), but plenty of food, and wide variety. Room large size and quiet. Power went out at 4am, but call to front desk fixed immediately. Good value.

"Comfortable rooms and great staff"
Sue W, 25 Août 2019

The hotel is not very central but it is easy enough to walk to the centre and the rooms are very comfortable. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful. The breakfasts were adequate if not spectacular but the room service was very good. I would stay here again.

"Empty and noisy"
MervFrome, 01 Août 2019

Sent here on a Eurostar weekend package. Found workmen in the lounge area, no one in the bar, told only 20 people staying here. In a room facing the main tramway with frequent loud rumbling sounds. Facing four nights here and this is only day one. Not impressed with the hotel, reception staff, or Eurostar.

"Brussels Hotel stay"
pablodemello, 17 Juin 2019

It was a medium to good experience. Nice localization. Nice and very gentle staff. Good size room. Good air con. Good tv and wifi. Good beds. Tiny bathroom. Large people simply does not fit there. Tub bath literally a trap. Rounded and slippery - perfect to cause a fall and have a cracked head.

"Rooms without light"
aysandays, 15 Juin 2019

I stayed in the hotel with the institutional discount rates. I have been provided a room without light, with a view of wall and hotel's heating/cooling pipeline system. It was noisy during raining as well, not a good sleeping quality. These type of places can be used as storage rooms, should not be offered as guest rooms. I do not know whether this is because I have discount rates but if I had knew it before, I would stay in another hotel. Due to my busy business schedule, I just stayed 2 days and did not ask for a change. I will not prefer the hotel for my next visit.

"Lads weekend"
John B, 24 Mai 2019

We stayed in this hotel for three nights rooms were of good size comfortable bed nice bathroom breakfast was a bit of a hit and miss first morning no eggs or bacon left a bit of cold meat we waited for hot food to be restocked never came second morning a good variety to choose from third morning went for a long walk came back about 10 05 headed in for the breakfast and with an abrupt voice I was told breakfast is finished we taught it finished at 10 30 like two previous mornings people were still eating and all breakfast items were still on display confusing breakfast costs €15 so hotel looses €45 we were not told breakfast finished at 10 o clock on Monday bad customer service the hotel is about a Twenty minutes walk to the main square where there are some very good restaurants and bars in little side streets don't eat or drink in the square total ripoff I would not return I woul stay closer to the centre.

"Perfectly good "
amysworldadventures, 18 Mai 2019

We stayed at the Hotel Royal Centre for three nights between Christmas and New Year as part of a cheapy Eurostar package deal and we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of our stay. Check in was quick & easy - the lovely young chap on reception was super helpful. Although I speak fluent French, I don't feel that I'd have struggled to make myself understood if I hadn't; I overheard most of the staff speaking excellent English during our stay. Our room had clearly recently been renovated and was beautifully decorated with a brand new bathroom and comfy bed. We had a really good night's sleep despite the trams, buses and traffic outside. On the subject of transport, it's a 20-ish minute walk down into the centre of town but you can hop on the metro at Botanique if you'd prefer. Transport round the city is really easy to follow & pretty efficient. We actually liked being further away from the huge crowds of tourists. We weren't expecting breakfast to be included in our package deal but helpfully it was - reception pointed this out to us on arrival. It was a perfectly acceptable continental breakfast with a few warmed tureens with scrambled eggs, bacon and the like. There aren't a huge number of tables but we never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seated. There was a small convenience type store just across the road from the hotel which was useful for stocking up on drinks for before bed and days out, without having to pay the minibar prices. There did seem to be a bar down by reception but it wasn't manned at all during our stay which was a shame - it would've been nice to have a nightcap after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were kind enough to store our bags for us on our final day which was such a help as our Eurostar didn't leave until very late in the evening. The less time you can spend at the Eurostar station the better; it's not pleasant.

"3 Nights in Brussels!"
Passport23301161118, 16 Mars 2019

Called in Brussels on a quick Business trip. I Enjoyed staying at the hotel despite being bit away from the centre. Stuffs were very helpful and twin room was cozy big! Nothing much to complain at all other than tramlines next to the hotel may disrupt your sleeping sometimes if you are very sensitive to sleeping. In that case you can always take the room at the other side which is not an issue!

"Travel to Brussels"
Voyager12232464107, 09 Mars 2019

Very nice location, walking distance from the most important places and easy to reach from Gare Central. Very friendly staff giving all support I need during my stay. Everything was very good, cleanliness and service.

"A quality hotel!"
lnegri2013, 20 Février 2019

All the services are excellent at this hotel. Employees, reception staff are professional and very friendly! Next time I will choose this hotel again! The rooms are spacious and very clean. It is very well positioned, in the center!

"Avoid at all cost."
Andi1x, 06 Février 2019

We booked a long weekend at this hotel to allow us to go to the Christmas Markets in December 2018, with our family and children. I have delayed this review because I have been in dispute with the hotel since we left. However, as they still don't wish to resolve it in a proper manner I now feel its the time to send a review of our stay. We was a party of 8, so we booked 4 rooms, and it wasn't a cheap break. I booked several month in advance, I asked for the following if possible; for the rooms to be close to each other, and in a quite location, we got neither. We was at the side of the hotel and got early morning tram noise that woke up up constantly, and we were all on different floors. Our children arrived before we did, and I was informed by them that the receptionist was rude to them as they was asking why the price was higher than quoted on the booking forms. She wasn't very good at explain to them about the Taxes, and came across as very rude to them. The rooms we adequate and warm. The breakfast was good. We had arranged to meet in the bar before we all walked down to the Christmas Markets, (It's a longer walk then I thought to the Christmas Markets. ) My self and my daughter arrived first in the bar and there was no one at the bar to serve any drinks, so we asked at the reception if it was open he said it was but the barman was busy else where and would be back soon. We waited 15 minutes and no one arrived, by this time there was other customers waiting, after 20 minutes I asked where the bar man was, and why he could not serve us? Even though the bar was only 20 meters away and in clear sight of the reception he said he couldn't leave. 5 more minutes went by and the receptionist eventually came over and served us... my question is why didn't he just do that in the first place? Whilst out about about we could hear the rioting that was going on in the city, Not the hotels fault, but it just didn't fit in with the Christmas theme we wanted. When we arrived back at the hotel there was evidence of rioting around the hotel, smashed windows and bus shelters outside the hotel, there was graffiti on the hotels front doors and walls. The next day whilst having a shower my wife slipped in the shower, badly bruising her head and Pubic bone and thigh. When I went to reception to tell them and ask where was the shower mats, they had no really response. They then sent a maid to our room with a small tea towel size towel to put into the shower base. I explained that this wasn't good enough and there should be proper shower mats. They said that this was what they used. In all my experience when these towels have been in the bathroom in other hotels their uses have been for the doors outside the shower and not for inside the shower, and in such case where they have been supplied, there have been shower mats supplied as well. I went to reception to ask where was the shower mats and they said they didn't have them. When we got to reception the manager ( I think she was) asked in a really patronising way" Are you ok." My wife said, "No." and that was the end of the conversation. She took no further interest. When we returned back home I e mailed my complaint to the hotel and asked for their views about the several matters that I had raised about the hotel. I got NO reply to my questions and an offer of 50 Euro voucher. I wrote back asking them for a reply to my questions I had asked, several easy question. They wrote back reiterating their offer of 50 Euros, and no reply to my questions. I was hoping they would be extremely interested that a customer had badly injured themselves in their hotel, and it could have been worse, but it all seems to be a matter of fact attitude to it. At the end of the day It's all about how Hotels deal with a complaint, and on this occasion they have failed to meet the level of customer service that I expect, from what they describe as a family run hotel and one of the biggest chains in the world, they have failed to meet a level of customer service that I guess their CEO expects.

"Good value and central location "
y9y9y9y9y9, 16 Janvier 2019

Stayed here for 4 days in between Christmas and New Year. We booked it via a package deal with Eurostar. The hotel is positioned well - near to the Metro and a short walk to the Grand Place. The room we were given was better than expected! Can't remember the floor exactly but I think it was the 8th, and not only did it have the standard area where the bed is, but it also had a separate seating/desk area. Our room had floor to ceiling windows and a door on to a wrap around balcony. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The view from our room was an added bonus! We didn't require any cleaning during our stay, but communal areas were clean. The only fault I would say is that the towel radiator in our room wasn't on for the duration (with no way to turn it on ourselves) but the rest of the room was adequately warm so wasn't an issue. The same radiator had a pipe sticking out at the bottom, which you had to be careful not to hit as it was at head height when using the toilet. Breakfast isn't included, but can be added on. We chose not to do this as the hotel is just a 5-10 min walk from the Grand Place with a huge selection of cafes etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Don't expect luxury, as it isn't, but for the price it's very good! If you can, get a room with a balcony - but please note the balconies wrap all the way around the building so aren't private.

"Birthday getaway"
man594, 11 Janvier 2019

Checked in to this hotel few hours ago reception staff so friendly as soon as we walked in. Checked in 3pm and they recognised it was going to be my Birthday on Monday and she wished me happy birthday and then explained that we had been upgraded to the suite . Room enormous power shower bath robes provided. Team and bus stop right outside the hotel. So far so good

"Affordable and close to the centre "
I5706WYjamesm, 05 Janvier 2019

The hotel staff were great for our 3 night stay. Had to book quite last minute and it was still a good price. I remember hearing the tram at about 8 am (not sure if it starts earlier) but didn't disturb us - I'm quite a light sleeper. Would've given 5 stars as for me it was a lovely, clean, friendly hotel but you could hear any police cars on the road outside and the trams so if you're very sensitive to noise, you could be disturbed. For us though, the location was brilliant (10 minute stroll to the bars and attractions of the city centre) and a £8 Uber ride from the Eurostar terminal (could probably have walked it). Apparently cabs from the station are considerably more so... get the app.

"Quite, Nice and clean Hotel"
omart469, 15 Décembre 2018

Hotel is quite close to Brussels central station just 10 mints walk. Location of hotel is good but away from Central market Square. But good thing is it's a quiet place. You can reach market Square in 15 mints walk. Room was nice, clean and spacious. Bed was cosy and comfortable. Hotel staff was quite good and cooperative. WiFi was bit slow

"Very nice option"
JMPFF, 13 Décembre 2018

Check-in: Not the most friendly staff, but checking in was smooth and fast. 7/10 Lifts: 2, not too big, but big enough. Did not have to wait too long, 9/10 Room: big size; nice bed, good linen, nice flat screen tv, good lightning. 9.5/10 Tv: good size, good choice of channels 8/10 AC: very nice, silent, efficient. 10/10 mini bar: small size, stuffed, expensive stuff. 6/10 WC: not too big, tub.Decent towels. 7/10 Breakfast: very decent 7.5/10 Location: 10 minutes walk from Badou metro station. 6/10

"Nice clean hotel, good location"
Smiep, 11 Décembre 2018

I stayed one night on a business trip. This hotel is correctly priced, friendly staff, nice but small rooms. The bed was very good, kingsized. The shower is in the bathtub, small but very clean bathroom. The rooms are quiet. It was the best priced hotel we could find in Brussels center. Nice hotel for a short stay. Breakfast 15 € pp was not included. Metro station nearby.

"Good Location"
marymU1561HR, 09 Décembre 2018

Nice clean hotel! Great location most things are in walking distance from the hotel! Only about 10-15 mins from the Grand Palace! Room was cleaned everyday! Lovely for weekend break in Brussels! Would recommend to friends!

"Cheap and cheerful"
mark0polo1, 27 Novembre 2018

Stayed for a long weekend with my partner. A little be remote from the main amenities nearby. Room was adequate. Tired decor and sloppy finish to rooms- gives a dull and unimpressive image to guests. Staffing is quite low so to catch someone is down to timing. 10 minute walk to nearest metro station and bus station.

"Good location but needs to address a few issues"
Smeg1, 03 Novembre 2018

This is a good location for the centre that is 15 mins walk away Real disappointing issue is the fact I booked this through Eurostar and hotel would not accept my loyalty card. Normally it is a point for £. BW would of been paid so I should get the points. Room was by lift so noisy with cleaners in the morning. Fire alarm in hall was hanging off - see photo - really?? These 3 points really knocked my rating Staff were really friendly and Kev (Porter) deserves a mention. It would of been 2 star without him Did not have breakfast so can't comment. Beds were comfy also

"Not to be recommended"
Q646URmattb, 23 Octobre 2018

I foolishly booked a Eurostar package which included Business Class seats (which was nice actually) and this hotel (which was not) On reflection that was my fault... I always much prefer a hotel with character than these bland US chains .. and I should have known better. However my principle gripes include.. it was unbearably hot and stuffy in the room .. there were all kinds of funny electronic lights on the TV and Mini bar that stayed on all night and the breakfast was akin to something I once had in prison. Altogether couldn't wait to leave the place

"grand spot"
pcDublin, 03 Octobre 2018

Nice bargain hotel. Great location for the privce, 10 minutes walk to grand place and is on a relatively busy steeet. Friendly staff. The room was clean with tea and coffe facilities. Your review must be at least 200 characters long. Adding details really helps travellers.

"Modern hotel at a good price"
lucymcl0ughlin, 02 Octobre 2018

Stayed here for a weekend break in Brussels recently. Hotel rooms were very modern with a grey theme throughout, very comfy bed with a good sized TV. Bathroom was lovely, although every time we showered it seemed to flood the bathroom floor! The hotel itself was about a 10-15 minute walk into Brussels centre, with several lovely cafes and a supermarket just a few minutes walk and about 5 minutes from the Botanique metro. When we stayed here, we were not warned of any building works going in throughout the hotel, only to be woken up to drilling and banging in the room next door and constantly walking past open ceilings in our floor. Although it did not bother us that much, a heads up would have been beneficial. Rooms can be loud from the trams and traffic outside but it's only until about 10/11pm and then resumes about 8am.

"If I could give 0 as a score, I would"
Michelle P, 25 Septembre 2018

The room was really small, smoke alarm was missing, Bathroom was dated. Curtains were dirty, only one plug, and despite being on the 8th floor, window didn't shut properly and it was noisy. I wouldn't stay here again if you paid me.

"Location and value"
Daveshent, 14 Septembre 2018

first stay here and was very pleased, good sized rooms, pleasant staff, well priced and a great location. Walk to business (EU offices etc) is 15 to 20 minutes grand place 10 to 15 mins. so be it meetings, tourist attractions or bars and restaurants all are a short walk. Only down side is there is a bit of noise from the trams outside but this goes about 11 until 6:30 so sleep is not disturbed, may be less of an issue on the higher floors, I was on the 2nd floor.

"Great resting spot"
Sol G, 11 Septembre 2018

I cannot fault this hotel, from the location, the rooms and staff this place was on point. Stayed as a city break for a few nights and it was perfect. Highly recommended. Also, you can leave luggage after you have checked out which was super handy.

"A nice surprise"
Tom M, 10 Septembre 2018

Used some Best Western points and was greeted as an old friend. Hotel is in a business area so after dark it is a deserted area. Daytime, everything is handy, a large shopping street a 10 minute walk away. Hotel rooms have been nicely renovated in calming colors and warm woods. Bathroom has waterfall shower, heated towel rack, and upscale look and feel. In-room coffee; hotel breakfast is an expensive 15 euros. Staff is great, nothing is too much, and they truly give a warm welcome. MUCH more than I expected.

"Good hotel for the price"
Oznur Y, 05 Septembre 2018

The place not so central but close enough. Price not that high and good internet good breakfast good workers they have. Clean and neat. However the only bad thing was the smell in my pillow it was smelling like sweat of sb else. But there was no dirt or any other bad thing. Also there is a good minibar in case you need also there is tea maker and some tea it is also nice to have. It is better than other hotels more central based but with low quality like hotel dome or hotel siru or hotel progress. Because i tried them all.

"Perfect location for exploring the sights of the city."
Stuart A, 04 Septembre 2018

A very good hotel, located in a great place for all the city sights. The welcome and helpfulness of the staff cannot be more highly recommended - they were all extremely helpful, polite & professional (and excellent English speakers...given that my French is pretty rubbish!). Level of accommodation was very good...an absolutely huge double bed in a well-appointed room. A little road/tram noise, but nothing significant to prevent a good night's sleep. Well-stocked mini-bar (although not utilised) together with the usual tea/coffee making facilities. Room was fully air-conditioned and, overall, very comfortable. If there was one small 'gripe' it was the parking fee of 25 euro per night in the basement area of the hotel...and I don't mean a car park...I mean (literally) the basement...which meant leaving the car key with reception for them to 'juggle' vehicles in and out of the area based on their arrival and desire to depart. In fairness, I think the fee is pretty typical of overnight facilities in the city, but felt it was a bit steep for some un-businesslike facilities. However, that is really only a small niggle in an otherwise excellent stay...would certainly recommend to other travellers and would consider a return at some future point (provided the price was 'right').

"Location is fantasic "
Kate H, 19 Août 2018

I made a reservation after another place fell through and I wasn't disappointed, it's walking distance to the grand place and anything a traveler would need in downtown Brussels. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Late check out was great and super easy without an extra charge. The only thing is I'd skip the breakfast it's expensive for what you get, that's just what I thought.

"Good value"
Stuart M, 13 Août 2018

Spent 5 nights here as part of a eurostar package deal. Hotel and room were very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and of a decent standard, the morning porter and kitchen staff were good at keeping the tables cleared and reset and the times of breakfast meant you could have an early start or a bit of a lay in. The hotel is pretty central, being 10 minutes walk from the cathedral or the Palace and about 20 minutes walk from the Central Market. There is good travel options nearby with a tram and bus stop pretty much at the front door. Brussels Nord train station 10 mins walk as is the central station. It is also close to a number of good restaurants and bars. There is a pharmacy within 2 mins walk and also a convenience store. All in all we were very happy with the hotel and the location, the only let down for us was the fact our double bed was 2 singles pushed together which made it a bit uncomfortable! We didn't bother to ask if we could change so can't comment on if this request would have been accommodated. Would happily return and stay there again.

"Great place for city exploring "
Thilanka A, 12 Août 2018

We stayed here for one night during our Europe trip and really liked the place compared to the other Brussels hotel we stayed previous night. We stored our luggage here in the morning before checkin and went to Amsterdam and came back. Old gent at the reception was pretty cool and were giving us advice on where to eat etc. Rooms in Europe are generally small but we liked the room we got here. Comfy bed, AC, kettle and tea sachets, good washroom with a good shower. They had Tv with cable tv channels. We didn't have food. Though we had short stay we loved this hotel. This is in front of metro path and walking distance to metro station. Highly recommend if you want to explore Brussels city.

"Better options exist"
vic2riah2015, 04 Août 2018

Hotel is not as convenient to everything as it's website says. It is in more of a business district where all the nearby restaurants (except one very pricey one) close at 6pm. Staff were nice & room was clean. However, entire bottom of bathtub had huge chunks of porcelain missing which had to be careful not to cut your feet on. Breakfast was not very good for the price, not much selection.

"Small rooms but great location!"
Bianca Rochelle P, 31 Juillet 2018

Rooms were the smallest encountered on our European trio, but they were clean and the staff were polite. It is very well located, near the palace and walking distance to shopping districts in town. Unfortunately the air-con was centrally located and could not be adjusted to suit our needs.

"Great City Break Hotel"
Elle H, 30 Juillet 2018

Stayed here for 2 nights while on a short city break in Brussels, decent location with around about 15/20 minutes walk to the grand place. Rooms were very clean, comfy and modern, we did have a problem with our air con but they did come to fix it within minutes so there was no issue. Rooms on the front do have the rumble noise of the metro lounge, also be careful the wine & crisps are not free, or anything in the mini bar. Breakfast was decent but advice to go before 8.30 due to becoming very busy and the seating area was very small. Luggage area was provided after we had checked out.

"convenient hotel"
amirhassan1974, 01 Juillet 2018

It is a very convenient hotel fairly close to city center and metro station is just in 5 minutes walking. The hotel is very clean with good service and really helpful staff. It has a good WiFi in rooms. The sleep quality is really good with comfortable beds and quiet street near hotel.

"Good hotel "
LlamaKeeper88, 30 Juin 2018

The hotel is in a good location for exploring Brussels, roughly a 10-15 minute walk into the centre. The room was spacious & clean, a great base for a city break. It seemed quite noisy at night with sirens/trams going past but it does go quiet & it didn't bother us that much.

"Very clean "
habeeb89, 30 Juin 2018

A very clean hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The down side of the hotel is they say there is parking but the parking only fits maybe 4 small cars and very hard to get in and out and costs 25 euros a day. But the hotel is nice and not far from the center just a walking destines.

"Amazing stay and reasonably priced."
Ryan W, 02 Juin 2018

When we arrived the view of the out side is nice and it was located in a nice area. The police station is rite behind it. A nice parking garage is just around the corner so just drop your bags off and park in the garage it's called parking royal easy to find and a 5 min walk to the hotel and metro. The metro is about a 5-10 walk from the hotel easy to take downtown and the hotel provides a map. The hotel was very clean inside and the rooms and the whole hotel is updated. It is also only about a 20 walk to downtown if your coming back at night. Overall a great place to stay for couples and families will be going back.

"Decent quality and location "
Bury-Barrow, 16 Mai 2018

Not bad for the price in a good location reasonably close to centre. Rooms clean and refurbished but not that big. Bathroom was pretty good and spotless. Reception staff were pleasant enough and efficient.

"If you don't need a shower, could be ok... "
IFlyCarryOnOnly, 07 Mai 2018

Very disappointing. The good part: the room "looks" nice, is renovated, and the AC works. The bad parts: The room does not look anything like the picture of what we booked on the website / confirmation email. We got a tiny shoebox... while the picture was of a normal room with plenty of space. Total bait and switch. The shower is a mess - a quick shower completely flooded the bathroom! The reservation said "shower/tub combination", but all we got is a floor with a shower...no tub in sight. Next day, after cleaning the room, they took away dirty towels, but didn't give us clean ones. I guess we are not allowed to shower here... Called the reception for towels, no answer. Walked downstairs, asked the guy about it, and they said they'll send someone (no apology). To top it off, no conditioner in the amenities kit. I'm ignoring the mess in the lobby due to construction, and random furniture in the hallway. Also, no upgrade or any recognition of my diamond select status. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

"Quick trip"
graham d, 23 Avril 2018

Last minute booking to brussels on business. Hotel was clean too. Massive and comfortable. Staff very good and attentive to my needs. Good choice of food for breakfast. Only down side I was at the front and the trams were noisy going past

"Just one night"
Simona C, 15 Mars 2018

We were in Brussels for just one night on our way to the Caribbean. The hotel is in walking distance with the city center, not so close by though. For one night was ok-ish, I would not recommend it for a longer stay. The rooms (our 2 rooms) were nothing like the pictures, were very small, at the 7 floor with a …. I don't know how to call it- balcony, terrace shared for the whole floor. At one of the rooms the balcony door was blocked at the other one was not closing properly. Also it was pretty cold in the rooms, due to the fact was January and no central heating working. We left the property at 3 am so I can not say anything about breakfast. But at about 10 pm my husband went out to find a store to buy some water, everything was closed and when he asked the front desk guy about some water he gave him a paper cup with water…that was funny, for a 4 star accommodation to not be able to sell you a bottle of water during night time.

"Great rooms "
debsidoodah, 04 Mars 2018

Despite reception decor being a little tired and dated the room was really good value and nicely decorated. My room was like a suite with separate bathroom, sofa area and bed area. It was a little cold though but a small heater had been provided. Good value and would use this hotel again. 10 mins walk from central station

"Awful Treatment"
Rubén G, 16 Février 2018

We made a mistake in the reservation process. We booked a room in a different day, and after realising, less than an hour after, we wrote them asking them please to cancel the reservation. We had no answer for them until next day telling us it was impossible to cancel it, adn they charged us the night. Although it was clearly a mistake, the treatment received was awful, they didn't have a small detail with us; in same situations, other hotels would refund the charge without problems, but for this hotel it's clear money is more important than customers.

"Surprisingly poor hotel"
greentim, 25 Janvier 2018

Given the high cost (£268 for two nights) this was a mediocre hotel experience. The room was of average quality - not helped by the dull grey decor and a broken light. The worst part was the breakfast. The room was far too small and understaffed for the number of guests. The food quality was average, while the waiter could not keep up with the need to top up the food and crockery for the numbers present. There is a simple message for the management - if you cannot cope with your hotel being full and busy then don't hike up your prices. Staff at reception were helpful.

"Nice Hotel near city centre."
SpyrosB72, 22 Janvier 2018

A nice Hotel near city centre with very good service. Large rooms, good breakfast, easy access with Metro lives 2 and 6. Rue Royal is not so quite but the rooms are well insulated so there is no problem with noise.

"Good Spacious Rooms, Friendly & Helpful Staff - (Value for Money), but the Breakfast was disapointing"
Ritesh G, 18 Janvier 2018

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights during Christmas week with my wife, on arrival at the hotel we where greeted well at the reception & they also gave us an early check in as requested by us. The Room allotted to us was clean n very spacious compared to other hotels that i have stayed in Europe. The staff was very helpful & friendly in assisting us to local attraction & use of transport. However the only disappointment we had was the breakfast, for all the 4 days we had the same breakfast & very or say no options for vegetarian (as my wife is veg) they need to improve the options

"Worst Experience ever with Food Hygiene"
emminent31, 17 Janvier 2018

My husband and myself stayed during Christmas holidays for 2 nights in Best Western Hotel Royal Centre. but as the name looks, the food, service is not at all like this. Both days we had trouble with the breakfast. There was a broken piece of marble bowl in the food and staff did not show guilty about that and not even we have been given anything instead as a courtesy. Next day we literally had to wait for so long to get our breakfast table clean. So Not recommended in any condition this Hotel.

"Can't have asked for more . . . "
User, 13 Décembre 2017

The hotel is maybe around a 10 min walk from the city centre and 5 min from the train station. Hotel has a small bar and a few small supermarkets in the area. Located on a quite street in a safe area. Rooms are to higher than normal standard for a Best Western and we found the stuff all to be more than helpful in helping us.

"Diabolical breakfast"
JD00543P, 12 Décembre 2017

Breakfast was diabolical. An absolute shambles that made the Fawlty Towers hotel look as though it was well run. We were warned by the night Reception to arrive for breakfast early as the buffet tends to run out so this is obviously a known problem. We thought that with an hour of the breakfast service remaining that we would be fine. No! There were no clean tables so we had to sit at a dirty table. There was no cutlery available although we managed to find a couple of clean spoons which we had to share amongst ourselves!! The cooked breakfast was virtually non-existent. Items ran out and were not replaced straight away, if at all, and all of a sudden some random food item would arrive. Everything was completely unorganised. I made my feelings known to the Reception desk but they didn't seem to care. Not a good start to a day. Will definitely not be going back to this hotel.

"Avoid "
Nvjones, 03 Décembre 2017

I made a last minute trip to Brussels and decided to book with Best Western as I had previously stayed at their Luxembourg hotel and been very happy with my stay! Staff were friendly on arrival, when entering my room,I could see sticky cup marks on the dresser, I was instantly put off as it did not seem like the room had been cleaned properly. On further inspection of the room I noticed that the bathroom was not cleaned properly. I called reception and explained I was unhappy with the room, to the credit of the hotel someone came by and checked me into another room, yes it was cleaner but there were still some issues, I figured that the hotels cleaning standards were not so high and gave the surfaces a wipe down. The cleaning staff were super loud outside of my room, it sounded like they were socializing rather than working, lots of loud voices and laughing, I had a do not disturb sign outside of my room, so they clearly ignored this. On checkout, staff charged me for more expensive items from the mini bar,I am assuming the cleaners are responsible for listing items, so to me it looks like the hotel needs better cleaners who do their job properly! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, nor will I be returning.

"Second stay not as good as the first"
SportPsychDoc, 21 Novembre 2017

After a pleasant stay at this hotel a year ago, I had a less satisfying stay this time. To begin with, the hotel reception staff member that checked me in was not at all friendly or welcoming. Nor was he willing to be of help when I asked him for assistance to find a branch of the Leonidas Chocolatier that might be open on Sunday. He made no effort to look it up on line (I found by checking that the one near the hotel that I had visited last time was closed on Sundays) but even said to me that I could find what I wanted at the airport - which proved completely NOT to be the case. Fortunately the reception at the nearby Novotel proved much friendlier and willing to help me. I was happy - as a Best Western Diamond Guest - to be given an upgraded room - so I do appreciate that. However, as is the case with some frequency in European hotels, the double bed was nothing more than two single beds side by side. The fitted sheet was not large enough to be tucked in on all sides, and the duvet cover was not well fitted for the comforter. The pillows were quite lumpy. There was a small bottle of wine with two glasses and a small bag of potato chips on the table and I assumed this was a complimentary for Best Western Diamond guests. GOOD THING I THOUGHT TO CHECK - turns out it is there to tempt you to paying a LOT of money for these items. There was just ONE packet of coffee and NO creamers provided - typically Best Western Hotels provide a better set of beverage amenities. Finally, the internet connection was terrible. It might be because my room was at the end of the hallway ... I don't know. I do, however, want to mention one of the people who was at the reception later that evening - Younes - who was really helpful in looking up for me the exact times of trains leaving the following morning from the nearby Brussels Central Station to the airport. Younes is the kind of person who really leaves a good name for the Best Western brand so thanks to him!!!

"Quite and decent hotel in city centre"
Meeuwsenmj, 15 Novembre 2017

I visit this hotel frequently. It is relatively, small, quit and offers a fine basic service. The breakfast is reasonable, though the breakfast room is a bit small and one has to squeeze oneself through. An excellent climate control in the rooms, with hardly any noise.

"Some space for inprovement"
Alessandro G, 15 Novembre 2017

Chain hotel, located in the centre of Brussels. Tram stop is a few metres off. Overall nice and with a more than decent staff. Some details to be improved... faulty lift (got stuck inside with doors not opening) and the shower outlet could be cleaner.

"Stay out of the single room"
C C, 06 Novembre 2017

The single room is a tiny ratplace where not only you can hardly walk in, but also where you will struggle yo sleep as the matress is so old and given that you will sink and after only 30min you will need yo stand up because the back pain will be killing you. The old fashion bathroom has a horrible rotten odour coming out of It. No wonder the recepcionista almost jokingly told me "you know you have a single room, don't you?". Certainly os any inspector would ser this room would not there to give this hotel not even a star. I would hola back to sleep, but just of the thought It my back is crying. I have stayed on dar better hoteles in Brussels for the price of this and even cheaper. So do yourself a favour and keep searching.

"Very poor customer service"
EcaIlie, 21 Octobre 2017

A nice hotel centraly located but with unfriendly staff. The hotel has spacious enough rooms, a little lousy but ok. The bathroom was smaller than expected. They have a very strict check in policy. We arrived at the hotel around 11 am but we couldn't check in until 15:00 pm. Indeed, they have a storage room for your luggage which is ok. We didn't mind that we had to wait but the staff seemed very unfriendly. We just entered the hotel's door when someone from the staff exclamed:"Oh, no! Way too early for check in!". We haven't even said one word. It didn't feel very welcoming. We had booked and paid a room with breakfast but later we realised that we'll have to skip it in order to arrive on time at the airport. Although there was an advertising in the elevator that one can choose for an express breakfast ( half price than the standard one ) before 7am, they didn't agree to switch it for us and insisted that we should pay extra!!! The lady at the front desk ( short hair with glasses ) was not helpfull at all, she seemed rather irritated by our kind request. She said we can have a coffee to go!!! The hotel is nice for a 3 stars but the staff categorically not. Would not recommend.

"Smooth and clean"
Liza P, 18 Octobre 2017

Requested for early checked in and room was ready when we arrived around 10am. Booked a double room and it was reasonably big with small dining table. There was many channels on tv and comfy bed so we had a nice stay there. Keep it up!

"Central"
mevs44, 18 Octobre 2017

This was a convenient hotel for a business trip but would not recommend for leisure. My room was on a busy road with traffic and sirens all night. The rooms were clean and well presented and the hotel was comfortable and neat. Breakfast was ok, only ok and the restaurant was quite cramped. The staff were friendly and helpful. I did not have a kettle on arrival but one was brought to the room after contacting reception.

"Comfortable hotel for business and pleasure"
Whitney S, 17 Octobre 2017

Clean comfortable hotel with a very friendly and attentive staff. Sally, Rimme and Dimitrios were all very helpful and kind and were able to assist me with all of my request. Will be my hotel from now on when I visit Brussels. 10 minute walk to Grand Place and 5 minute walk to the train station. Metro station 2 minute walk. 2 nice parks within easy walking distance, if you wish to jog. Arrived at 8:30pm and ate at great restaurant next door, Comptoir Restaurant. The Flanders beef stew was superb!

"A Comfortable Hotel for Business and Touristic Visits"
Ebru A, 16 Octobre 2017

The hotel is a very good location. It is very clean and the staff are very friendly. I like the service quality. Although it is a 3 star hotel, the service quality is at the 4 start level. The breakfast room is a bit small but the service is nice. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful.

"A real surprise"
K8Innovator, 27 Septembre 2017

One of the nicest hotel experiences of recent times. Small hotel, good value, convenient for local travel. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and all the staff absolutely lovely. Would recommend this to any business traveller with limited budget.

"Good deal and great location!"
Lindita75, 05 Septembre 2017

I will began listing some of the things I thought maybe need some improvement: To me, the pillows were very uncomfortable, these did not offer the support I was expecting. No turkey ham during breakfast buffet, only pork :(. Shower towels are a bit small and you only get two plus two hand towels; maybe for some people this would be sufficient but for my husband and I, especially me, towels were not enough. I needed an extra towel to dry my hair. Lots of water comes out shower when taking one and floor in bathroom becomes wet and slippery. During our six nights stay, cleaning staff would forget to replace empty tissue box, to add more coffee/tea bags/cream and even vacuum carpet. I also wish this hotel had a better quality toilet paper, the one they have is a bit rough on the skin. I considered the stay at this hotel to be a good deal primarily due to location and buffet breakfast, which was included in the price. Payed an average of $77 USD/night, compared to other similar hotels/lodging in Brussels, this one was the best choice for us. Let me tell you that their breakfast croissants are super delicious(chocolate and butter). Their breakfast buffet does offer a decent variety of food, scrambled eggs, two types of yogurts, milk, tea, coffee, fruit, bread, beans, bacon, and machine juices. This breakfast buffet is more than worth your money. Location, location, location; as they say, this hotel is very close to many of the attractions Brussels has to offer. Transportation, shopping, restaurants, and more are near by. For example, Grand Place is about a 10-13 minutes walk depending how fast you walk, shopping street is about a 7-10 minutes walk, metro stations and trams are a five minute walk away or almost across from hotel. Also, Brussels park is about a 7 minute walk from hotel, it is not a big park but it is popular and good for a jog. On a different note, bed was comfortable, shower head with great pressure, nice hot shower water, elevator on site, hotel staff are very attentive, helpful, friendly, and professional. The room offers plenty of wardrobe space, a small coffee machine, a very tiny fridge, a flat screen tv, and liquid soap(for hand washing and shower). All in all, we would stay here again and recommend to other travelers visiting Brussels.

"Close to town and good local bars and Restaurants"
VERONICA V, 22 Juillet 2017

Room 309 overlooking the main road - you could hear the trams and the police cars. However very good room and the staff were mega helpful. Only had breakfast here - that was fine. Make sure you get the detailed map from the reception it will help navigate the myriad of small streets in Brussels.

"Excelent"
Nicodraga, 21 Juillet 2017

Good/central location, good breakfast, good room and beds, friendly and helpful staff. Tram just in from of the hotel. Everything was just EXCELLENT! I highly recommend this hotel for all purposes of stay.

"Very Good "
Ashley F, 23 Juin 2017

Spent a week in this establishment and I was pleased with the stay. The staff helped reserve rooms for my team and accommodated my need to change reservations at the last minute. Decent location and a parking garage within 5 minutes by foot. Beautiful rooms. Nice breakfast spread. And a small bar is located in the lobby area. Recommend staying here as it is comparable to other good establishments in the area.

"Reasonable price"
Karolina D, 11 Juin 2017

Hotel is very good located. The quality is OK for this price. Service is really nice and friendly. Room is equipped with all necessary staf, obviously towels, hairdryer, soap and shower gel, however it would be better if hair conditioner was in room as well. Room was clean but really small. If you stay for weekend it is good choice.

"Lucky find"
Welltravelled88, 05 Juin 2017

We had to cancel a booking for Antwerp and find a hotel at short notice in Brussels. This hotel was offering last minute deals on booking.com and we decided to stay there. Delighted with the hotel. Location is a short brisk walk from city centre. There was on street parking available nearby, which is free overnight. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was efficiently organised with a good choice of food. All in all this stay was fantastic value for money.

"Pretty average "
Danielle_Beds, 31 Mai 2017

Rooms aren't exactly big but the bathrooms are *really* tiny. I have very small, narrow feet and couldn't place them both flat side by side on the narrow bath standing under the shower! No TV remote in the room so couldn't get TV to work. Didn't complain as I didn't notice until I tried to watch news and weather just before I checked out but left a fault card. Staff seemed helpful and friendly and the Breakfast was ok but also fairly average quality and selection. Definitely not worth €15. Lights also seemed a bit weird. Some didn't do anything and specific combination seemed needed to get standing lamp to come on. Took a while to even find switch for desk lamp (it's under the 'head' of the lamp if you also can't figure it out!). Fairly modern decor and clean but unfortunately nothing special. Just a standard business type hotel

"Conveniently located in walking distance to major attractions and close to metro station"
Alexander_random, 25 Mai 2017

I stayed there for 3 nights. In my reservation I asked for a room not facing the street and I've got one - bonus points to hotel staff. The stay was pleasant, with no noise coming from outside into hotel room during night-time and in the morning. Hallways in corridors are not covered with carpets, therefore you can hear some noise from inside though.

"Good stay after changing room"
Sarah R, 22 Mai 2017

Hotel 15 min walk away from city centre. First, I got a room in the 8th floor - small, wallpaper fell from the wall, the bathromm was old fashioned and dirty. The last point was the reason asking for another room. I got a room in the first floor - modern, renovated, comfortable. Breakfast is good, but no large selection.

"Good hotel but could be great with a couple of improvements"
CheekyMacyCat, 20 Mai 2017

Our room on the 9th floor was situated at the front of the hotel. It was quite large & modern & very clean looking. Unfortunately, there was no room safe which is unusual these days. When we enquired at reception that evening, the staff member told us to look in the wardrobe. Nope - still no safe so he came up to the room & looked for himself & said there wasn't one. So I had to hide my documents & jewellery for safe keeping for 5 nights as I didn't want to leave them in the reception safe. We also asked for an additional pillow as there was only one extra in the cupboard & he said he couldn't find us a spare & that we had to wait until the next day. A note left for room service ensured we had the additional pillow the following day. Unfortunately, the street light from across the road shone straight into our room & the blockout curtains were a little short so the light came through at both ends of the window. This was a shame as the room & bathroom were very nice otherwise. Also, the wifi kept cutting out & was quite slow which was frustrating. The location of the hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the Grand Place & there are only a couple of restaurants around the hotel to eat at in the evening, so I recommend eating in one of the busier areas before coming back to the hotel. The breakfast was sufficient but the service was not good - the breakfast room is quite small & unfortunately the tables weren't cleared very quickly once people were finished so in the busy periods, you'd be looking for somewhere to sit. When they were finally cleared, they weren't cleaned off properly in regards to crumbs, croissant pastry flakes etc. We had to ask for cutlery and bowls on more than one occasion & they would run out of things like orange juice, cut up fruit (this was always in small supply). I think they needed one extra person helping with the breakfast service in the mornings. The reception staff each morning were very efficient & polite and helped us twice when our day tour pick up was very late to arrive. So, if they could fix simple things like the room safe situation, have longer curtains to cut out the light & sort out the breakfast service & slow wifi, this would be a great little hotel.

"Very disappointing for the price - Poor value"
JoelLeclair, 17 Mai 2017

Comfortable bedding - rather small bedroom with too much furniture - cleanliness definitely to be improved (carpet, bathroom) - only decaf bags available in the room with the boiler. No fruit juice available for 1/2 hour at breakfast - breakfast was not included and was at 15€. For more than 140€ one night/one person with breakfast, this is expensive.

"Good and cheap hotel"
Anssi P, 13 Mai 2017

Royal Centre is a Best Western hotel near the Botanica Park. Hotel is not luxury but it is clean, well located and room rates are very reasonable. Less than hundred euros including a good breakfast is very good price in a big city. Rooms have two beds and are clean. Bathroom is also fine. Highly recommendable!

"Convenient location, but a service that leaves much to be desired"
Chris C, 09 Mai 2017

If you are looking for conveniently located hotel in Brussels, not far from Place Rogier, but away from the jungle of the North railway station, Best Western Hotel Royal Centre represents a tempting option. It is on rue Royale, minutes from the Parc Royal or Brussels Park. From the onset, the facade looks a tad run down, and the lobby markedly outdated. The receptionists are, however, pleasant and eager to help. The rooms are spacious and reasonably modern. My double room was equipped with two single beds, side by side, forming a double bed. with a mini-bar, and with a medium-size TV set. The desk was rather narrow, offering little space to work comfortably. The worst aspect is a prehistorical internet service with constant disconnections from the network, making it virtually impossible to get any work done. Over a four-day period, the reception staff kept promising that connections would improve — they never did. In this day of age, it is hard to believe that ADSL+ connections can be so bad in a (in-principle-reputable) hotel (chain). Breakfasts are reasonable, consisting of a choice of cereals, homemade omelet, ham and cheese, fresh croissants and pains au chocolat, and cold and hot drinks. While the street below (the rue Royale) was surprisingly quiet, most of the noise came from the corridor and from the loud voices of inconsiderate guests (the insulation of the rooms ought to be rethought). Overall, neither a bad place, nor a great one. A decent value for the most part.

"room is small but breakfast is good"
qingyu l, 26 Avril 2017

this hotel is not close to the city center by walking and there are not a lot of eating places near by. Room is very small and the noise level is quite high because the tram runs till mid night. the breakfast is very good so if you don't want to spend time finding restaurant for breakfast, get it included in your room rate when booking.

"Great Service"
Kinnari P, 18 Avril 2017

We arrives at 9 am, our Thalys train arrived very early. We were exhausted from traveling, we thought we would have to drop off our bags and come back at check in. THEY CHECKED US IN AT 9 AM! I'm sure this goes on availaibility but I could not appreciate that more. They were wonderful. The rooms were gorgeous. We were 6 minutes to most public transport, one train was right outside the hotel. It was great. Everything about this hotel was perfect!

"Fantastic"
User, 07 Avril 2017

This hotel's ratings here do not do it justice. The room was brilliant, very comfy bed, everything working perfectly. It's in the perfect location for a tourist, its ridiculously central, 10 minute walk from grand place. It's just far enough away from the centre of city to escape total commercialisation i.e. Tourist shops and dodgy street vendors.. a couple of streets away there is some nice cheap restaurants where Belgian people seem to frequent. We were able to avoid using the public transport for the most part, because of our location. I really cannot fault this hotel.

"Excellent value in Brussels"
globetraveler7, 24 Mars 2017

Good location, comfortable bed, A/C working as it should, spacious room (for 2 people), was given a fairly quiet room as per my request (not facing the street). WiFi was working very well and I highly appreciated this. Would gladly come back here on business. It is hard to find issues to complain but the bathtub was a bit narrow for my taste (bottom not fully flat).

"Good experience"
DimChrisos, 21 Mars 2017

The hotel offers affordable accommodation in a convenient location. It is located a couple of minutes away from the city centre and a walking distance of 10 minutes away from the train station. The interior is refurbished, looks modern and my room was perfectly clean. The offered amenities were more than enough for a business traveler. The WiFi connection was reliable and fast. Two main issues were the sound insulation which can be improved and the breakfast which is expensive and it is not getting refilled when pieces are out.

"Insufficient sound insulation in the windows of some rooms."
Monsi2, 09 Mars 2017

Averaged quality hotel close to the centre. The rooms are modern and the hotel has been recently refurbished. Decent breakfast although you have to wake up early (some of the popular breakfast items are not replaced when they run out of them). I was going to give 3 stars, but I have decided to give it only two for the following reasons: 1) Cleaning of the room was not good enough. Previous guests drop something in one of the tables and it was sticky. They did not clean that during the two days I was there. 2) There is a tram line next to the main entrance of the hotel. If you are unlucky and your room is oriented to this street, as it was mine, the sound of the tram every time is passes is quite annoying. In my case it did not allow me to have a decent sleep. They should replace the windows in these rooms to improve sound insulation.

"Better than 3 stars"
Margus K, 09 Mars 2017

The location was a walking distance from the centre (~1,5km), however as a business district it was very deserted in the evening. Room was very modern and comfortable, maybe a bit noisy - you could hear neigbours showering, the tram outside and a lot of people walking by as it was next to the elevator. Overall I would reccommend it. Especially for the price.

"Great Location"
Steve G, 15 Novembre 2016

Arrived late in the evening enjoyed walking the neighbourhood beautiful buildings, ate at an Italian restaurant. Location is walking distance to downtown core had delicious waffles and etc.. Room was comfortable and lobby has a computer for customers to use.

"Best Western Hotel Royal Brussels"
banx10, 07 Novembre 2016

Well what a unusual trip that was. Brussels is in a really bad state. It was like East Germany after the wall came down! There seems to be no working infrastructure or organisation. Heart of Brussels and street apron street has broken, and I mean proper smashed up and raised here and there with loads missing, paving slabs. Windows randomly smashed in places in like train stations and graffiti is everywhere!! It's so evident it's just accepted and they now try to class it as art. Main shopping centre areas, train stations etc...everywhere. The worse thing were the beggars. Not poor weak beggars, but professional ones. The police and authorities turn a blind eye to it all. It's like zombie apocalypse. While you're moving you are more safe, if you stop and stand still they swarm around you. Don't think of eating out in the city centre, jokes. It is odd that you can go into any cafe or shop and all the staff speak French, german and English. But anyone in authority like at the train station, suddenly can't speak or understand English. It's as though they have the hump we're leaving the EU. Late at night is really unnerving as strange men appear in every street corner and make even the most confident traveller uncomfortable. Waffles are fantastic, but you can

"Great staff ! "
Lauren P, 27 Octobre 2016

Great staff, very friendly, informative and always willing to help (5 stars for the staff). The day I booked in a few things went wrong but i got a "better" room, though it's had a terrible smell of old smoke and honestly the rooms are falling apart. It comfortable for a few nights. I wouldn't recommend long stays. The locations is great ... 10 min walk from the city centre.

"Disappointed "
Dean R, 18 Octobre 2016

Disappointed with this hotel. I arrived late in the evening to be told the hotel did not have a restaurant. I surrounding area was a little intimidating but I would advise anyone to try to stop closer in the city centre. Ageing hotel which can be noticed with its rooms and furnishings

"Short stay"
june j, 07 Octobre 2016

Spent just one night in this very decent 3 star hotel, a good surprise. Clean, modern, large room. Huge, comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. No iron in the room although my booking.com reservation mentioned one. Everything you needed in the bathroom. Breakfast starts at 6.30 during the week (good if you have an early flight/train) and it's not bad at all (but remember it's a 3 star!). Close to metro (Botanique just around the corner or Park 5 min walk in the opposite direction) and tram also. 10 walk to the shopping area. City center is around 15 min walk. First Best Western I stayed in and I liked it.

"Large rooms and good wifi"
Marius P, 04 Octobre 2016

A good hotel with very large rooms, good wifi and good rates. There are many good restaurants nearby, but quite a walk to the tourist attractions. The only bad is that they don't have an iron in the room and do not deliver iron during evening, so you have to ask in the morning adding to your morning stress.

"Average"
PubAfficionado, 24 Septembre 2016

I found the staff to be helpful. The room itself was surprisingly modern and spacious, but that's about where the good ends. There is a daily breakfast, but it is underwhelming. That is also the only food available in the hotel. There is also a "bar" that is hardly that. Never clear if it is open or closed, with no full time bartender. Instead when someone wants a drink the bellman gets called to serve. Nothing particular bad about the stay, but in future I would stay elsewhere.

"Usual Best Western standards, with very helpful staff."
0Rex, 16 Septembre 2016

Rooms we great, (Tea and Coffee in the room) Bed was huge, bathrooms are a bit fine but a bit small, so only one at a time. Nice walk to the centre, down hill so I recommend the Metro to get back. (Botanique is just a short walk away).

"An okey hotel"
sk0941, 11 Septembre 2016

It was an okey stay, the staff was friendly and helpful and the location is in the centre of Brussels close the the main square and to the european parliment and the embassies. The street outside though has got 2 tram lines running past and trams are not exactly quiest, so if you got a room facing the front be prepared for the noise.

"2 nights"
Derek S, 06 Septembre 2016

Top class hotel. Very clean and tidy. Stayed on the 6th floor and it was very quiet. Staff were very helpful and friendly. About a 15 minute walk from the grand place. Would highly recommend. The walk back is up hill though ;-)

"Great place ,,,,, great staff"
ricosauve3000, 15 Août 2016

The lobby area is spacious with sitting areas however the public restroom is on the lover level accessible via steps. The elevator was a bit small. The room was a queen bed with a couch bed. The beds were comfortable and the in room access to power, lighting were all good. The front desk staff was more than helpful. The red haired manager was VERY accommodating to my family. The breakfast was more than a spread of options... I looked fwd to breakfast on day 2! WiFi service could use an upgrade ... it was a bit weak. Taxi services was called upon request. The location of the hotel does not get any better. The train station is a short 5 min walk. The city center walk is a 12-15 min walk... with options of great views and parks along the way.

"Loved the Hotel - Good for Stop Over"
gsaurabh84, 02 Août 2016

We had excellent experience with the lady on the front desk - she was extra helpful. I fell in love with the city starting with my interaction with the Hotel Staff. We had a standard room which was fine for the two of us and a night stay - I stayed at Novotel on my way back and highly regretted it... This property is very nicely managed, loved the recommendation on food / Breakfast.

"Last minute booking saved my life!"
Ligia P, 27 Juillet 2016

The friendliest staff I met in Brussels. They accommodated my last minute booking. The hotel is newly renovated and the room is gorgeous and super comfortable. I will return again and again should I have to travel back to Brussels.

"Great Hospitality and the Friendliest Staff"
Dan B, 26 Juillet 2016

My friend and I had a quick stop in Brussels for a music festival. We had a standard room which was fine for the two of us and for only 2 nights. What stood out was the outstanding professionalism, dedication and helpfulness of the staff. Truly made our experience comfortable and enjoyable despite the amount of questions we were asking. We even missed check out by an hour and they didn't mind. Thanks for the great hospitality Best Western Royal Centre.

"Excellent experience"
Gina H, 10 Juillet 2016

I had an excellent experience. The hotel staff was extraordinarily helpful -- helping me navigate mailing a package through DHL. I arrived at 10 a.m. and was able to check in. It's conveniently located and reasonably priced.

"Ok if discounted, but there are better hotels in Brussels for the money"
mklein818, 09 Juillet 2016

At $45 per night through Hotwire, this place was very good value, but I wouldn't want to pay full price here. Early check in wasn't possible, ,my first assigned room was in an area cited to have a morning noise problem, so I requested an alternative, which was a tiny, unrenovated single on the top floor. There was nothing bad about it, though it was short of outlets, It just was barely three star standard. Location is on the edge of convenient walkability from the Center and you will have to walk a bit to find an alternative to the anemic breakfast buffet, which I passed upon inspection. Main thing is that there are much better hotels in Brussels--but it's not a disaster if you end up with this place on Hotwire.

"Nice hotel."
Diane P, 04 Juillet 2016

We have just returned from a short stay in Brussels. Our room was amazing. My husband booked a double room and we ended up in a suite so must have been upgraded. Hotel was very quiet. Staff very helpful. Breakfast good with a great choice of food. Would definitely return.

"Very good hotel"
Rafal S, 04 Juillet 2016

Nice, medium size hotel in the centre of Brussels, very well communication with rest of the city, excellent very helpful, personnel, good hotel for a business trip and sightseeing, fast wi-fi, summing up I can fully recommend this hotel

"Convenient Hotel Location"
mark8man2015, 24 Juin 2016

Small hotel conveniently placed to downtown. Great chocolate shop (Mary's) a few blocks away. Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations. Rooms are clean and appropriately furnished. Internet service good for surfing web but slightly challenging for voice over IP. Breakfast is extra but includes many hot items.

"Peaceful & Convenient stay at Brussels.."
arun p, 17 Juin 2016

Well behaved smiling stuffs with modest room facilities. You get decent breakfast. Just 700 meters away from City Center, this place is majorly populated with corporate office which keeps this place happening. After during the evening, this place becomes really quite. Overall I liked this hotel especially comfortable beds, lots of cushions & extremely friendly stuffs.

"Great location and good value"
griggstraveller3, 15 Juin 2016

We stayed 2 nights in a standard room on a short city break. The first impressions of the hotel were good, within a 5 minute walk of Botanique metro station and a tram stop virtually outside the hotel. Check in was fast and reception staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was located on the third floor, and although small at first glance, it was perfect for a city break. The room appeared newly refurbished featuring modern furnishings with a set colour scheme throughout. The room also featured a television consisting of numerous international channels. The bathroom was very small yet functional however no amenities were provided. We selected a room only package and so did not try the breakfast, however given the hotel's location, just a 10 minute walk or short tram ride plus walk from Grand Place and other major attractions; numerous cafes and restaurants provided a cheap alternative.

"My favorit"
Matti L, 08 Juin 2016

A small and nice hotel close but not too close to city centre. Easy and short way to walk from nearest tube station. Friendly and family-like personel. Now after renovation the rooms are even better. Little bit like scandinavian style in furniture. No noise at nights.

"Exceptional .. again ..."
Stupotran, 03 Juin 2016

My first time in Brussels & my first time at this hotel . I think it wont be the last. It is undergoing a refurbishment @ the moment & the room I had was amazing , so modern & fresh. The staff were very imformative & very helpful . the room was spotlessly clean & very comfortable , excellent large bathroom & an amazing shower. Breakfast although continental .. was excellent

"Nice placement, kind of iffy hotel"
Jón Ó, 03 Juin 2016

The staff were very polite at check in. The hotel it self was kind of below average, whereas the renovations on the top floors were very disturbing. It looked nice though, beside the fact that i found a bug in our restroom the last night!(the ones that only come when there is leakage and/or moisture) There was also a very useless lamp in our room that couldn't be plugged in, nor did it have a bulb. The movement sensor lights in the room were also VERY annoying as they sometimes kept me up at night when they turned on and off when i moved my legs. The breakfast buffet was small but efficient. Somehow the bacon always seemed to be finished when i came down for breakfast. Compared to price (it was very low) i got what i bargained for.

"Getting better"
bigblueballoon, 21 Mai 2016

I've been coming to this hotel quite regularly, on and off for a year or so now and I can honestly say they are improving their facilities. Some of the bedrooms have been updated and they appear to be finishing the refurbishment as I write this review. I've had rooms on different floors and the one you do not want is the one on the first floor above the breakfast area and kitchen! Unless you get up at O' Cock Sparrow anyway! My bug bear has always been their awful breakfast, but they seem to be reviewing what they are offering, and for the first time I got warm rolls and croissants!!! So, if you're looking for a decent 3.5 star hotel without too many frills at a decent price and located quite centrally then this us the place for you.

"Business stop over"
Richard B, 26 Avril 2016

Picked because I have had consistently good service with Best Western. Stayed only one night, arrived very late and left early, excellent breakfast 06:30. Very helpful staff. Rooms clean and bathroom immaculate. Coffee/tea minibar in room so great for a late arrival.

"Average and not friendly"
franckbart, 25 Avril 2016

I came for a short trip to Brussels (1 night) and required a centrally located hotel. This one is but nothing else. The check-in time is far too late for a business hotel : 15.00 and the check-out too early. We only pay for the night and surely not 24 hours. Quite unfair. And the staff was not ready to discuss anything. The buffet breakfast is average. Nothing made on order, not even the eggs that are hence over cooked and dry. The rooms are not very sound proofed : I could hear neighbours chatting in the corridor late night and early morning. Last but not least, I requested a double bed and got twins. Not so customer friendly overall.

"Excellent Hotel"
Matthew K, 21 Avril 2016

Excellent Hotel. Large rooms. Tea/Coffee making facilities. Short walk from central and north stations, also easy walk to main areas of the city. Usual continental breakfast, but fresh pastries. Wifi included. Would defiantly recommend.

"Short stay"
tobeornottobe2014, 21 Avril 2016

I stayed two nights in this hotel Entrance nice with a warm welcome by two people, Two small elevators available to go up, room on 5th floor, just complete re done, Nice bed large with a perfect matras, A lot of different choice on the TV, Dutch English France but also Asian and other channels, Breakfast correct, watch the time sometimes a little crowded, but i managed both mornings, Rooms are also complete re done, bath a little small but very clean, Cleaning ladies in morning nice, and because me in the room in the day the ask politely if they could pass for cleaning, In all a good hotel for me, I would recommend, especially a room on the 5th floor, even on the roadside no problems with noise from outside, they good isolated,

"Conveniently situated hotel with friendly staff"
smallman01, 12 Mars 2016

Short trip to Brussels to visit friends. Returned to this hotel after an absence of 5 years. The rooms have been upgraded and have a light coloured wood giving a Scandinavian vibe. Very comfortable. Free wifi. Staff helpful and friendly. Good standard of English spoken. Parking available but there may be a charge. Plentiful choice at breakfast - hot options being eggs and sausages. No restaurant but meals available on room service basis - but not used by me so cannot comment on quality. Hotel ideally situated for Grand Place (12 minute walk) and Brussels' four major art galleries (15 minute walk or 5 minutes on tram number 92 or 93 which pass in front of hotel. Pay the driver. Double room with breakfast cost 93 Euros - roughly £73 for a good value for quality hotel and its location. .

"Top value and great location"
SteveRuzicka, 22 Février 2016

A five star rating because the hotel has been remodelled to excellent comfort and quality and the price we paid was unbeatable. The area is fine, close to the heart of Brussels. We also were lucky night after night to find parking in an adjacent street. As any traveler knows by now, Brussels is a nightmare for parking. The reception staff is friendly and helped us rapidly with a WiFi problem. Before I forget, breakfast was excellent too.

"Very good stay"
WillyFox89, 19 Février 2016

The hotel is very good located, 5 min walking distance from metro station and 10-15 min walking to the city center. We were checked in by a very friendly, polite and smily lady. Our room was newly refurbished. Very well decorated, spacious and clean. Nice bathroom. The room had everything we needed. We didn't try the breakfast.

"Never again!"
Henrik W, 17 Février 2016

A basic tourist hotel that is under reconstruction. This is however, a piece of information you will get only by reading a note in the elevator after having already checked in. While focusing on the reconstructions they have apparently totally forgotten normal maintenance. The room I was provided with was very dark and no desk light was available. In addition the TV set was broken, the shower handle cracked and the soap dispensers empty. But worst of all, - in the morning there was no hot water available. So I had to take an ice cold shower using the cracked shower handle that spread the cold water all around. While they promised to fix the problem as soon as possible, I came back to my room at lunch to take a decent shower. By then they had already close all water supply. The "breakfast buffet" was depressing and in fact the worst I have seen for quite some time.

"Nice staff but poor hotel"
Dean R, 10 Février 2016

I Stayed in this hotel because I had a business meeting in Brussels city centre. All I can say is, if you can choose a hotel in the centre itself do so. The neighbourhood is very intimidating at night and there is no place for an evening meal, and that included the hotel itself. Very dated hotel and basic facilities. Not a pleasant experience

"Great location!"
Andrei S, 09 Février 2016

Very Good location, 12 min from the great market and 3 min to Subway- botanique and at a walking distance from other places of intrest. Very clean. Quality wi fi. The personal was very nice. I recomand. Good price.

"Perfect trip, super price/comfort ratio"
LesHenHo, 27 Janvier 2016

Super friendly staff (all around the clock) Great Breakfast (hell, that walnut cheese was a stunner) Perfectly located (10 minute walk to Grand Place, Justice Palace, Parc Royale. In case you need to go further, just hop on the Metro at Botanique - right around the corner) Comfy room with clean Bathroom

"Great position, value for money"
Morgmob, 16 Janvier 2016

Stayed over New Year,3 nights, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The staff were very professional and friendly and the hotel is very well maintained throughout. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast area was lovely. It looks like the hotel has received an extensive refurbishment and the rooms were clean and bright, with all the necessary facilities. I honestly can't fault this hotel, you could pay a lot more and would not get better value for your money.

"Great location, Amazing staff, Breakfast may be better"
Yuriy_Zaremba, 04 Janvier 2016

We have moved to this hotel, because we decided to stay another night in the city and our hotel was already booked for that night and we wanted to stay in the same location, as it is really close to Market Square. The hotel doesn't make a great first impression, but it is clean and the staff is very friendly (we were truly amazed by a receptionist, who in our presence fluently spoke 5 languages). At the reception desk a great surpise was waiting for us, as due to the fact that our standard room was not available, we were upgraded to junior suite, which was amazing. The room was very spacious and clean, with a great big balcony with amazing views. The breakfast was not very good, but it might have been our fault as we came in the last ten minutes. Overall, we really liekd the stay and would recommend this hotel in Brussels.

"Lovely hotel, ideal location!"
Charlotte J, 02 Janvier 2016

We came for four nights here just before Christmas. The hotel is lovely, staff are very helpful and the location is easily within walking distance of the main attractions. The rooms are modern and very clean, with great staff. Only small negative is the bath was tiny! I think only a child could fit in and the room itself was quite dark; some more lights are definitely needed. Overall, a fantastic stay, thank you!

"Near perfect"
PasdeCalaisJames, 19 Décembre 2015

The only disappointment was the iffy wifi in the bedroom, otherwise pretty much faultless. We arrived 3.00 pm Saturday and parked outside. Despite my best efforts could not get the ticket machine to issue anything other than a ticket for 15 minutes free parking, but that did the trick. Parking free on Sundays. Turning left out of the hotel the area turns a bit seedy with nowhere obvious to eat. Turning right down the Rue Royale takes you straight to the newly opened Brasserie de la Presse which despite its teething problems still delivered a perfectly good meal.

"Christmas markets in Brussels"
pauline c, 13 Décembre 2015

My friends and I stayed in this lovely hotel from 3rd December to 6th December 2015 visiting for the Christmas markets. We arrived late at night and the young man on the desk was extremely helpful. Our rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet part of the city ...a 10 minute walk to grand plase and the markets . The dining room was small but the breakfast was fine.

"Comfortable hotel in good location"
hubiik, 30 Novembre 2015

The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from central railway station, on a quiet street which seems to be safe also in the night (our experience - arrival at 00:30). Our room was renovated, clean and comfortable.

"Great location and comfotable"
135saraq, 22 Novembre 2015

The hotel is located rather close to the city center and also close to many nice restaurants just a parallel street. Walking distance to metro stations as well. Rather silent quarter. Good breakfast and clean bathroom. The receptionist have been very helpful but level of English could be better.

"Quiet but central"
Maurizio I, 02 Novembre 2015

I enjoyed staying there, with a very good price/value ratio. Of course the special offer made it much more attractive. Hopefully it happens often, so that I'll be there again. The bed was comfortable, the room is a bit small but it was just the standard room. The bathroom has enough space and a bath tab. The working space is adequate. It is a good place for discovering Brussels while being at walking distance from most of the sightseeing places.

"Nothing too much trouble"
HarrogateTraveller07, 26 Octobre 2015

This hotel suited me perfectly. Conveniently situated for public transport and all central attractions. The staff were so friendly and helpful - I needed a kettle and extra pillows. Delivered very quickly and willingly. Thank you! Bathroom a little on the small side but clean and comfortable bed. Would stay again and recommend.

"Visiting Brussels"
Sara B, 25 Octobre 2015

We were really pleased with this hotel - offered late 'booking in' which was necessary as our flight didnt arrive till 22.30. Plenty of breakfast and good variety to choose from. The hotel was quiet and only 10 minutes from Brussels Central station. Near the Palace and easy walk to city centre - would definitely stay here again.

"Comfortable and quite central."
RichWestSussex, 21 Octobre 2015

Just stayed in this hotel not far from the city centre. It had all you would expect from this hotel chain and we found it clean and very comfortable. It took around 20 minutes to walk into the city centre and for all that Brussels has to offer.

"Very comfortable stay and friendly efficient staff"
fleapit, 20 Octobre 2015

We stayed for two nights in the hotel and found it to be very comfortable indeed. The room was large and newly renovated and decorated and the beds were good quality and gave a good nights sleep. The bathroom was modern and everything was very clean. All the staff we met were polite and efficient. It is a fifteen minute walk to the central station and city centre. We did not have breakfast or use any of the other facilities of hotel other than our lovely room. The comfort of our room made our visit to this interesting city even better. A great thank you to the team at the hotel.

"Nice hotel clean and efficient."
BALDWIN2, 16 Octobre 2015

I viseted for two days on a business trip. Location is good for the metro and also breakfast hours are extremely good for business people. breakfast is good but not rich. Prices oon the high side for such an hotel , Service in the desk extremly friendly and efficient. Reommended for business people

"Over nightbstay"
katrina1299, 14 Octobre 2015

Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. don't pay hotel price carparking there is one close by for 10 euro less per day. They have students working with them but they don't identify themselves as students and this was problematic in that on our stay we had a late check out authorised by someone we thought was staff and found out the next day when we went to check out late that "this was not possible". We were made to feel like this was our fault and given 15 mins to check out. This wouldn't normally have been an issue but we had just run the Brussels Half Marathon and a shower would have been nice!

"Ok"
deckks, 08 Octobre 2015

The location was convenient, staff was very nice, but the room was super dated and smelled like cigarettes, made me wonder how clean everything was. All in all, I think you could do better for the price and in a comparable location. That is all

"Good value room and convenient location"
Steve M, 02 Octobre 2015

I got a great deal 54 Euros for one night (so price won me over!) with FREE WIFI. But the location turned out to be quite good as the hotel was very close to Congress Column, Botanical Garden of Brussels and about a 10-15 minute walk to Brussels Central and Place Royale. The room's furnishing was dated as is the interior of the hotel in general (but it's clean, comfortable and at my special offer room rate compensated for that!). I will say the Bathroom could have done with a little more attention but nothing terrible! Overall these are minor issues!

"good hotel"
Andree W, 13 Septembre 2015

The hotel was centrally located, the staff were helpful and efficient, The room was very comfortable. Only issues were related to the noise (traffic outside the room), the wifi service which was patchy and unreliable, My colleagues had some wifi connectivity, I had none. For a business hotel this is not acceptable

"Excellent"
Joanne M, 06 Septembre 2015

Excellent sized rooms, clean and service was fantastic. Was all you need for a city break and alis very close to the main centre just a short walk away.not 5* but definitely cleaner than some of those I've stayed in!if return to Brussels I would stay in this hotel again

"Great Hotel, helpfull staff."
Drake B, 28 Août 2015

The hotel was very clean, modern, and easy to find from the train station. We had a great room with a separate seating area and sleeping area with plenty of storage for all of our gear. Our one complaint was that we had two beds pushed together rather than one queen bed, not so great for a couples vacation. We enjoyed the small complimentary breakfast and the small bar. Great location near two train stations, central station is a bit further but an easier walk, the midi station had a long steep hill which would be very difficult with luggage. Short walk to get to city center and the tourist attractions. I strongly recommend this hotel for your holiday.
