Best Western Plus Bradenton Hotel & Suites

At $200 a night average, it was not a good value for the level of the hotel. Breakfast amenities did not match Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn. There were some sort of tiny insect that left numerous bites on my legs that we're not there when I arrived but the next morning I had them.

This is a 1.5 star hotel masquerading as a 2.5 hotel. The carpets are worn; the bathroom was old; our heater did not work and we had to ask twice to get it fixed. My wife was not able to get on the internet in the room. The desk clerk was not helpful. It is overpriced for what it is, but all hotels in Bradenton are expensive in February.

We are a very well traveled couple. This was the worst hotel experience we had during our month long trip in Florida. This hotel is run by a manager who is extremely arrogant and downright rude. Zero service feeling. Dirty hotel with not cleaned pool. We turned around and left in the entrance and were scolded by the manager for questioning the cleanliness. Not recommended. BW hotel should not put its name on a hotel with such a low standard. The pictures in the ad are misleading and not correct. Do not recommend anyone to stay here.

Careful! There's mold in the walls, ceilings, and floors at this hotel, and it's in poor repair. The service is pretty good, and hot breakfast is nice! While I was there for 8 days, the OJ ran out, and the coffeemaker broke. I won't stay here again, even though the location was great for my work area. The actual surroundings of the hotel are pretty sketchy, and I saw police cars at least once a day at the neighboring locations. Wasn't super comfortable on walks here, either.

This was a wonderful experience for me as a senior citizen. The staff was so friendly and absolutely willing to help in any was. Anything I needed was addressed immediately. The breakfast was wonderful - huge selection from cereal to muffins, pastries, bagels fresh fruit, and even pancakes.They also made the best coffee I've had in ages.

Fine hotel. Didn't use pool or have breakfast, although breakfast seemed to have some hot options. Room was average, although the A/C unit was a bit loud. Area right around the hotel isn't the best - some rundown motels in the area that are maybe being used as affordable housing? There is a Starbucks in walking distance though. Service was good / friendly

Smells, dirty and old rooms. I highly recommend finding another hotel in a different area. Questionable location and surroundings in addition to the hotel not being the best. Friends stayed 10 min away in a brand new hotel for $60 less than this location.

Loved the experience from start to finish! Staff from the front desk to Housekeeping were pleasant and attentive! Everything was orderly and it showed that the hotel management put extra effort into making my stay a memorable one.

Prices in Bradenton are sky high so I wasn't able to stay at my usual spot. Decided to stay here for a little over $200 a night. For that I was disappointed although I truly understand supply and demand and I was on a budget and wouldn't pony up the $300+ night elsewhere. So that is on me and not the hotel. I just hoped for better in that price range. The rooms are dark, dated and old. The A/C froze me the first night and then roasted me the second. Pluses are coffee in room, Huge TV, refrigerator, small microwave, daily housekeeping, a good shower (although the shampoo conditioner pumps in the shower barely work), Nice desk area and comfortable bed. I slept well. Internet is free and worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful, but were also fairly invisible unless you walked up to the desk. So it's a mixed bag. The pool looks nice and the outside area is maintained. Breakfast was a mess. On the 2-days I was here, the OJ was out, the pancake machine was broken as well as other broken machines that I didn't use. The coffee was good, but nothing else was redeeming at all to me. There is a waffle House and a Cracker Barrel very close if you rely on breakfast. I had coffee and called it good. Location is good to freeway access and you are about 15 minutes for nice dining downtown. I think it's fair to say it's OK, but given that I dropped $450 for a 2-day stay it's not in that league.

Place was dirty, and smelled from mold. They try to cover up with perfumes. Our ceiling actually had mold spores on it.I I would nott even have my met stay here with us.The floor in room is uneven and my wife actually fell due to some problems on floor. This hotel should take Plus out of Best western and make it a minus.

We stayed here for a sporting event in Jan 2022; returning to a similar sporting event, we were hesitant to stay again as we weren't thrilled with the cost vs cleanliness/upkeep. At last minute we booked a single night for a November 2022 sporting event and were pleasantly surprised at all of the upgrades that took place over the year. Will absolutely stay again next time.

We needed a place to stay overnight in order to visit the Myakka Elephant Ranch nearby. We chose this hotel because we usually stay at a Best western. Had a nice breakfast, good enough to start our day. A few hot items with drinks and cereals. Room was average, clean and comfortable.

The staff made this stay fantastic. They were so friendly and helpful. Everyone was cheerful and always seemed ready for any request. The rooms need to be updated. There were stains on the comforter and blankets. The rooms were dingy and smelled musty. If it weren't for the staff being so amazing, the stay would have felt different. They made all the difference.

In late April 2022, I stayed for the first time at the Best Western Plus Bradenton Hotel & Suites. My stay consisted of two nights. Positives: the shower, HVAC, and everything else worked. Adequate self-serve hot/cold breakfast. Television offered a broader selection of channels than many properties now provide, but no radio in the room. Pleasant enough staff, especially a maintenance man whose infectious positivity and enthusiasm anyone would find endearing. Negatives: a dated, tired property seriously needing updates. (Hardly "brand new" as the hotel's text on TripAdvisor asserts.) Not located in a particularly attractive section of Bradenton; borderline seedy neighborhood. Property very close to Interstate 75, the traffic from which I could hear even though not occupying a room particularly close to the highway. The neighborhood offers numerous other budget hotels all of them farther away from Interstate 75.

The desk clerk, Cindy, was friendly and thanked us for being Diamond members. She gave us a choice of extra points or a snack. There already was an extra blanket in the room as we had requested. Internet speed was measured as 10 Mbps down and just over 4 Mbps up, which is average. We were in room 126, reserved under my wife's name, Bertha. Now for the bad news. Bradenton Suites is old and needs some updates. Though the shower was good, everything else was not. The room was noisy all night from the highway and adjacent hotel parking lots. We prefer very dark rooms, but there was too much light through door. The guest in room above could be heard walking in that room. I felt as if I were sleeping on a slant with my head down and my feet up. The pillows were worthless, old and flat and needed replacing. The bathroom exhaust fan was only slightly quieter than a DC-3 motor. Loud music from a speaker in ceiling outside the room began at an early hour (disgusting crap for teens, but most certainly not adults). Breakfast was awful. I had to find someone to get coffee because both pots were empty. When she brought out a single pot, it was scalding and weak. Orange juice was off-color water. There was no milk, they said they were out. Eggs were too salty. They did have a waffle machine. The morning desk clerk seemed to be doing it all... she needed help. Finally, whatever they are cleaning with assaults the senses with an acrid yet somehow sweet odor. This place should by no means be considered a Plus facility.

This place has sticky floors every where. There is devices in the hallway to add a scent to the hall masking a mold smell. It is not cleaned very well and just not a nice place to stay. Price was comparable to upper end locations. Which is ridiculous because. There is not one thing upper end about this place. Breakfast was crowded and food was not healthy at all and no flavour. So don't be scammed, any place else is better.

Long story. We were there with a boys soccer team. Traveled from four hours away. The general manager, with absolutely no warning, called the cops on us and wanted us kicked out. Incredibly rude lady.

Worst Best Western I have ever stay at and I'm a Diamond member, which means I have stayed at a lot of best Westerns. The shower had no soap in the dispenser or no hand soap for the sink. The toilet did not flush without lifting off the lid and lifting the plunger by hand. The toilet also linked around the base. It was a small leak but still leaked. The bathroom floor must have been mopped with very dirty water, as there was dried black stuff all over the floor. Not the normal comfortable bed you find at a Best western Plus.

We stay here every year when we are going to the bradenton raceway. We are used to dealing with Brittany, but this year there is a new manager named Meanie. Despite her name she went above and beyond to help us with all of our needs. Anita was also very helpful and the night time girl kionna is just a doll.

Room 321, a two day experience of disappointment, 1. The sink and tub took a bit to drain. 2. The fire alarm went off while my husband was showering. 3. The night receptionist was wearing bedroom slippers and was pissing and moaning how cold the area was to the building maintenance and wanted the heat on to 75 degrees (she was thinking of herself and not the customers that come in to check in). 4. Breakfast was awful, the sausages were not cooked all the way and the bread had mold on it. 5. The carpet was stained, turned our feet and socks to a brownish color. 6. Anita worked when we checked in, she was very helpful with an awesome personality. 7. Oh, the remote for the tv was just a universal control, so anything we watched that took place at night was completely dark and you couldn't see the picture.

The room heater did not work, outside air temperature was 64 and damp. Room had a bad odor of body odor or musty air. It took 20 minutes to check out with no one else in the lobby - this made us late for our appointment. Outstanding charges of more than $200.00 were mistakenly added by over night. Worst Ever!!

Rooms have poor ventilation. They smell moldy. Only gave me 3 towels when our room has 4 guest. When requested extra towels I was told they didn't have any to give. I traveled with a group and one of the other guests room was not available as they had overbooked by 5 rooms even thought the room had been previously booked and deposit was paid. The front desk lady was rude and unprofessional and unwilling to accommodate. When she called on her colleague the colleague was able to find a room to offer but without a television.

Older rather drab lobby. Appears clean. Pool area again older but adequate. Did appear clean but did not use, raining. Carpets in hallways need replacing, very worn. No unpleasant odors. Got to room and it was adequate, carpet stained. Room had a distinct odor of urine/ moldy. Appeared clean, bathroom was clean. Bedding was old and uninviting. I expect hotel bedding to be crisp and cool and inviting. This was well used. Ample adequate towels. Hair dryer did not work. Asked in the evening but could not get another one. Asked again in morning and after considerable time finally received one. Breakfast was not worth trying. The juice was more water than juice and two of four faucets worked. The eggs appeared to be powered hydrated eggs ( not appealing). Sausages looked ok. Had waffle maker, packaged store bought cheaply danish. Coffee was very weak. Not appealing.

Easy to get to off of I 75. There are several eating places in this area. I was traveling on a motorcycle need hotels that advertise washer/dryer, but they did not work. However the hotel staff was nice enough to help me out with some of my laundry issues. The breakfast was good.

Hotel is in a poor end of town for the price you would like a better location right off th I 75 about 1\\2 hour from Sarasota if you stay for a weekend you don't get any room service no towel even if you ask breakfast was fair glad we had breakfast at all every time we left the hotel we never seen anyone at the desk bending at platinum holder I would except something better clean and safe

We were greated by Aaron on arrival- super friendly and helpful as was all staff (except just 1). Room was very clean, ask amenities worked well, good water pressure in the shower. Breakfasts ok but were probably not as good as usual due to the covid mess. Speaking of covid, the rooms are not cleaned nor are towels refreshed daily unless requested specifically daily if you stay more than one night.

Distance was convenient to the Premier Sports Campus (about 15 minutes away). Rooms were dirty, reservations were inaccurate, lobby was hot, no towels available for the pool, and hotel personnel were unfriendly. The elevator was broken and the entire hotel appearance was dirty. Location of the hotel is in a bad location of the city. Highly recommend staying somewhere else but this location.

Our room was not cleaned during our entire stay. At no point during check in were we told that room cleaning would only happen upon request. After the first day of no cleaning we noticed the note on the dresser. It was worded rather ambiguously so we thought it would be cleaned every other day unless it was requested to be cleaned every day. The day we asked to have it cleaned it was not and when I went to the front desk I was told we needed to let them know the night before. The woman at the desk in the morning did not mention that then; based I her response she we assumed the room would be clean when we returned that evening. Besides not getting our room cleaned the smoke detector had what looked like a grocery bag wrapped around it and someone had tried to dismantle it. I'm pretty sure that is against fire code.

Our room was not properly cleaned. Also, there was no cleaning and towel changing during our stay. The breakfast was poor at best, more like a continental breakfast. The sink drain and the shower drain stoppers were broken. The heater did not function. The door security lock was damaged. I am used to this lack of offerings at hotels that are a third of the price. Overall the hotel was expensive for what was offered.

Nice room but only an average BW compared to other BWs that I've stayed at, overpriced even with my BW member discount. Small pool, sack breakfast because of Covid but other Florida hotels are offering much better breakfasts now (March 2021).

I initially wrote a review that was less than stellar for this property. After dealing with the staff there with an issue, that was addressed quickly, I have a new opinion of this hotel. The GM, Natecia Busby, and her staff went above and beyond to handle the issue that I had. I recommend you to visit them and see what I am talking about! If I am ever in the Bradenton area again, I will not hesitate to visit there again! They say the little things are the most important and Natecia and her staff 100% hit the little things! I cannot say enough about her and her staff. Kudos to her team and Best Western for employing her!

No coffee available in lobby made for a bad stay. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay. I drink çoffee all day, from the time I get up until I go to bed at night. Really wanted a hot shower and a cup of fresh brewed coffee after a rough day and then a cup in the morning to start my next day.

We came into town for 2 nights and stayed 1 night here because of the reviews and got in later in the evening tired from driving 10 hours and had to get up early in the morning.. Upon entering our room the Window was Shattered -busted . I tried to use the phone in the room to call the front desk and it would not work so I had to use my cell phone.. I told the front desk and they didn't seemed concerned said they were aware of it and not sure why anyone would put someone in that room until it's fixed.. Also next morning found white powder substance on other side of bed and someone's socks in the corner of the closet .. This is Unacceptable especially with Covid going on.. Really Disappointed with stay the room was disgusting and upon check out no one asked anything just said drop keys into box... I will be calling Best Western Corp ...

My husband and I arrived at the end of the front desk's employee's 12 hour shift. She was friendly, polite, patient, and helpful. She stayed past her shift, and her demeanor didn't change. She worked hard to help me with some problems I encountered in the hotel's business center for hotel guests. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I slept well that night. It exceeded my expectations.

Everyone there was amazing I couldn't ask for a better say my two night wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely stay there again with out a hesitation at all that's how pleased I was with them it was amazing

Location is great and room was clean. Bathroom flooded and lights were dim. Beds were super uncomfortable for BW hotel. Did not sleep well at all. BW usually have soft beds but all the BW I've stayed at in Sarasota- Florida so far have really uncomfortable and hard beds. My spine hurts. The staffs were so kind and friendly though.

Having worked in a few of the area hotels as a front desk agent I am tuned in to recognizing a well oiled machine and this property was perfectly run at the time of my visit by a small cohesive staff. I spent more than two weeks in a double bedded queen room that was well appointed with a nice desk were, easy chair and ottoman, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and newer television. My stay during the height of Covid 19 restrictions prevented the staff from providing their normally included sit down breakfast, so the hotel staff packaged grab n go bags for each guests daily. Every morning I enjoyed a nice fresh muffin, (blueberry was my favorite!) granola bar, bottled water, and an apple, orange or a banana! Very generous in my mind, seeing just a piece of fruit and water in most other places that were also forced to close their dining. The staff kept freshly brewed coffee up and running all day and were always happy to refill my cup with a smile and friendly remark. The staff amazed me: they had limited employees compared to the usual, yet this property ran so seamlessly, it was obvious they have a great teamwork mentality, probably because they have such a great leader. The GM Brittany is really on point and scores huge points in her air of professionalism. I was impressed by her young age and huge responsibility and the mere fact that she runs the property with grace and integrity. She really cares about the quality of the guest experience and her awesome staff reflects so well in that aspiration! Chris went out of his way to assist me with their guest computers and printer station: super helpful person, so kind and happy which always lifts a property up! Brianna's special flare and big smile was always spirit lifting, too, and KT brought her great personality to work everyday, always putting a smile on my face. They were truly all so kind on the daily and always had a good mood going in the lobby whenever I saw them interacting with other guests. The jewels of the staff are naturally the housekeepers who care for this impeccably clean property! When your staff is always smiling around guests you know you have a solid team with a good boss.Rosie and Carolina and names that escape me now make the whole place sparkle! To my great surprise their maintenance staff equals just one man!! The star of the show, Sylvester!! I found no ill repair throughout my meanderings around the hotel, and the outside grounds and pool area were so clean and tidy! Ashtrays and garbages never overflowing like most hotels when they're busy. This property gets busy because of its great location right off the highway, near stores and so close to the Gulf of Mexico, and because they are a fine team running a lovely place! My favorite place to be was poolside, surrounded by gorgeous indigenous plants and different types of palm trees. Their fitness center is above average with seemingly new equipment. They have free weights also, and exercise balls, and a large flat screen TV too. Five stars all around for this fabulous place! Mainly the people here make this such a valuable place to stay! You will love it!!

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The average basic no frills facility.There was nothing fancy. It serves its purpose for an overnight stay for work. Very friendly staff who were helpful. I have stayed there a few times and have never had any problem.

Decent hotel and price for the area. Lots of food options close by. Easy on and off of interstate. 30 min from Tampa Airport. Area around hotel looks a little rough but over all the hotel was nice and clean

This hotel is a regular with us when we visit Bradenton. Last year, it was undergoing a re-fit which is now complete. There were no real issues with the room or their facilities nor the breakfast. However, we had room 115 which was the last room on the corridor and almost next to an end of building door leading out onto a parking area. The door was well used and was noisy when allowed to close on its own. The only downside on this visit. Next year, we will not be staying in that particular.

We were meeting friends for a visit and wanted a hotel fairly close to their home. It was Valentines Day week and everyone was jacking their prices for the Friday night. BW held firm and offered a nice room for a decent price.

Stayed the night here while visiting friends. Very nice king size bed and nice pillows. Beautiful updated bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of hot choices and cold. Really nice eating area also. The room was quiet. We stayed on the first floor which had wood floors. Was a nice room and stay. Good price.

All elements of our stay were just fine. felt very comfortable with staff. While at our stay we found that many places we wanted to visit were further that we thought. the hotel property hasd excellent access to Interstate 75.

We had a reservation and a reward coupon which we presented when we checked in and thought all was well. When checking out, no credit was shown and it took about half an hour to get everything settled. That did not get our day off to a good start! One outlet by the beds did not work and we had to use an extension cord to access another outlet. We use CPAPs and need electricity all night for medical reasons. There was a yogurt machine at breakfast with some toppings. Skim milk was available, but all the cereals were sweetened. Bread choice was poor and peanut butter was brand x.

Very good hotel, excelente price and location. Room very spacious, recently renovated. Breakfast excelent, the front desk atendent are great, kind and helpfull. I enjoy my 3 days stay. It is very close to PREMIUM OUTLET, I-75. I enjoy the riverwalk and the ride close to Anna Maria Island. there is a walmart absolutely close (quite walking distance). There is a mcDonald in walking distance. A lot of restaurants very close. The price was excelent.

This Best Western is located in an extremely convenient location situated at an I-75 Exit, with very easy on/off access. The road at the hotel was a direct route to downtown Bradenton. Lobby, breakfast, and room areas were clean. The staff was extremely friendly and especially helpful with local attraction suggestions. Very good staff taking care of the breakfast area. Cleaning and repair staff were also very friendly.

I have stayed in hotels in 6 states, many being budget friendly of the category for best western. This particular stay was at a plus category in the hopes of getting a much better experience. Unfortunately this hotel failed to meet my expectations and may have actually landed as the worst hotel I have stayed in in the past 8 years. Even the hotels half the price like surestay far exceeded in the quality and experience of the rooms. Even competitor hotels which I rarely stay in due to poor quality of rooms provided a better experience. The checkin process was confused since this reservation included a complementary stay as a reward of previous stays in best western properties. I will be making sure it was charged correctly. Even after determining I was going to stay two nights the cards where set for one night. Giving us the surprise while lugging bags and a baby that we could not get into the room the following night. Not an apology was given about the error. The state of the room was very poor, and in fact the entire floor. Upon the doors opening for the second floor the nostrils where attacked by a characteristic smell of wet carpeting that was going sour and moldy. The room was no better with a pungent sour smell emanating upon the door opening. The humidity of the room was considerable on the wintry weather outside. As we tried to relax we learned that the tv in the pouch was not only missing the back cover but a battery forcing us to contact front desk and going down to exchange remotes. This issue falls on attention to detail. The a/c did not seem to care of the temperature settings at 78 it continued turning in repeatedly giving a very cold room experience with the thin blanket. By the second night the rest was not really there. After the first night we where about to head out when we realized there is a missing do not disturb sign as well. Heading to the lobby we learned that they do not have hose signs and would need to request that from the crew that is cleaning the rooms. The only solution was to write do not disturb on a piece of paper and stick it on the door. We where hopping at the plus category the pool would be like other best westerns we have stayed in other states. Being heated. We learned that in this location the pool is not heated so where unable to enjoy that amenity as the water would be too cold for our little one. I can not recommend staying in this location and will not in the future.

We enjoyed our room and the hotel staff. My only reason for not rating this hotel a five were 2 things. Granted our stay was right in the middle of the holidays (12/29) but the front desk seemed understaffed with one very pleasent young lady answering the phone and handling the front desk. You had to stand in line until it was you turn but she did an excellent job and her smile never left her face. Another concern was there seemed to be only one luggage cart available (she claimed their were 2) so you had to wait your turn. The room was comfortable and you are within walking distance to 2 restaurants.

Due to a last minute emergency I was tapped to chaperone 16 fourteen yr old girls. The staff here went above and beyond to make our trip run smooth. I cannot say enough good things the staff. This BW plus is a gem!

To say that the staff was amazingly polite and helpful would be such an understatement. Staff went above and beyond any expectation I had prior to arrival. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Hotel is clean and quiet.

The staff here was friendly and helpful with our soccer team. They didn't mind the turf we accidentally brought in, and immediately sprayed the bees nest we found outside by the pool. The breakfast was a good start to the day. Hope to stay here again next year!

Friendly, efficient staff. Ready smiles and quick and helpful response to any question. Breakfast buffet with everything almost anybody could want from bagels to cold cereal to yogurt to eggs and sausage or bacon. Taquanna makes sure that all the serving dishes are full, the coffee urns are full and the place is spotless. Housekeeping did a great job throughout my stay. Manager Miki is personable and 100% capable. I was/am happy with my room, the breakfast, the friendly smiles from all the staff. Recommend this BW to anyone.

We had a relaxing stay. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped with every request. Traveling with 10 year old girls isnt easy. I think my girls must have used all the hotel towels for swimming. The front desk and housekeeping provided everything we needed. Even scissors. This hotel has Good breakfasts in the morning and everything is wonderfully clean.

This hotel was easy to find off I-75. Conveniently located next to Cracker Barrel just south of Tampa, Fl. If you are taking the family to SeaWorld, Disney, or Busch Gardens this is a the place to stay.

Stayed here in November 2019. Flew into tampa from uk so pretty tired when we arrived. For the price, it's absolutely fine. Room was a good size. Beds comfortable and clean. Bathroom a bit dated, but plenty of towels and shampoos etc. Cable tv, microwave and fridge, but none used by us! TypicaL basic buffet breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausages, cereals, toast, buns and pastries, waffles and so on. Didn't use the pool but it looked ok. Staff were polite and helpful. Wi-fi worked well. There are things in need of refurbishment - public area carpets being the most obvious. But it was a great deal, ($100 for 2 people with breakfast) and we would happily stay here again.

We had taken a red eye flight and got to the hotel around 9:30am. Miki and another lady found a room that had already been cleaned. Miki helped me sign up to be an awards member and upgraded our room. We ended up staying an extra day there because of the great service we received. When we came down for breakfast. I told Miki that the creamer was out. I started to eat breakfast and she actually left her desk got the creamer than got me a cup of coffee. We will definitely be back there.

Very nice place to stay. Great price. No complaints at all but not quite up to the others standards. Do not expect warm cookies or drinks in the evening like several others have. We certainly didn't need them. We left very early to catch a plane so no check out available at 3 AM. Very quiet room. Great location. Lots of restaurants in the area. Easy to get to. We'd definitely stay again. The manager was a lovely lady.

Staying at BW was a real treat. The staff (Miki, Brittney and AJ) were very nice. Helpful and professional. We stayed 2 nights because it was so nice. The pool and the sitting areas were very clean. The bed was perfect.

Let me begin by saying that I have been a business traveler for three years (Platinum at Marriott and A+ with Southwest Airlines) and had planned at some point to give Best Western a try. My wife suggested after my latest trip to Ohio that we take a little "Staycation", so I picked the Best Western Plus about 50 minutes away. This was the beginning of a nightmare that as of this writing, Best Western has not even begun to address. Best Western Plus on their website describes themselves as a hotel that "goes beyond the expected, offering everything from well-appointed guest rooms to upgraded amenities." Therefore, we picked out a room that also included a jetted tub. We began our romantic evening by trying to use the jetted tub. What followed was loud grinding noises as we engaged the button to turn on the jets, and a few bubbles leaking out. We immediately shut it off. I figured that was going to be our only issue, until we went into the room to begin to relax. Because we arrived later in the evening, since we watched a sporting event, it was midnight by the time we pulled back the covers on the bed, and to our horror, ants were running everywhere on the mattress. By this point, we had had enough, and called the front desk and asked the young man to come up and see for himself. He apologized and told us he could get us another room. Once we got to the other room, he informed us that it was a step down from the room we wanted and did not have the jetted tub, nor the kitchenette. I decided right then to cancel my planned second night stay. However, once in this reduced quality room, we discovered that many things were not up to standard. Let's start with the loud buzzing from the lights in the restroom, as well as the iron mount that was hanging off of the wall (and the closet door that was off the hinges). Also little simple details like the clock not being plugged in or programmed was the icing on this crappy cake. I asked to speak to the manager in the morning and wanted a full refund, since we were moved into a room we did not want or asked for after having ants charging across our mattress, that still was sub par at best. I was told that the manager was not in, but they would have her to call me when she arrives at about noon. I went down the street, had brunch and decided to stop in once more to see if the manager arrived. I was again told that she was not there, but was aware of the issues and would call. By about 4:00 in the evening, I called the hotel myself, only to be greeted by a gentlemen who had no knowledge of the issues and told me that the manager had gone home. When I angrily informed him that I had been promised a call, he did call me back in about 30 minutes with feedback from the manager saying that they would still keep 75 of my dollars since I stayed in the other room that I didn't ask for. One other thing to add, by the time they got me in the other room, it was too late at night to hunt for another hotel and I had no choice by to take the room. The customer service at this hotel is the worst I have seen, considering the lack of quality. I am including pictures of the items I mentioned, including the ants. All of this after I simply requested a full refund and an apology, but could not even get this. Please, take it from this business traveler, this is a hotel to avoid!!!!!

I enjoy this hotel. It gives me and guest a very welcomed feeling and a bit of home surroundings. Overall very clean. The manager & staff are highly receptive, courteous, and always there for assistance. The location is ideal because of the surrounding amenities I.e. Gas stations, restaurants, and shopping centers. It is a great hotel that is always looking for ways to improve.

Nice, economical property in Bradenton, FL. The room was clean and big. I chose the King bed room. The morning breakfast was decent and the staff were friendly. Nothing extraordinary, but decent and clean.

Last minute reservation accommodated by Andy - who has excellent customer service skills. Nice clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast was great too. Would stay again if in the area and would recommend to others!

Manager not capable of billing correctly and basically told me to go stay somewhere else after I had already stayed 20 days and had reservations to stay another few months with work. Very disappointed in her character because of her not knowing how to do her job!!

We stopped here for just one night as we were on a road trip. Staff was genuinely caring and friendly. A good variety of food available at the free breakfast. It was satisfying and tasty. I recommend the room with the hot tub as it was relaxing.

Stayed over night on a motorcycle trip on the way to Key West. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They let us park our motorcycles under the canopy! Also had a good breakfast. Recommend this for travelers

This hotel was one of the best that I have ever stayed at! The staff was very friendly, the hotel and rooms were very clean and modern..and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The swimming pool was very clean! There was a Cracker Barrel, BBQ restaurant, McDonald's, Starbucks and Waffle House in the immediate area.

It can be the American standard of a Best Western Plus is different than the European, however I couldn't find the Plus. The employee in the evening shift didn't seem to be bothered to provide some service, the bathrooms are very outdated, the breakfast is mediocre. Only the girl at reception during check out provide a Plus smile and service. Beds are good.

Spent 2 nights here & we were very pleased. Nice clean hotel, spacious rooms. Brittany at front desk could not have been nicer. Although near highway, you could not hear any outside noises. Very conveniently located. Lots of restaurants & sites nearby.

We had been driving all day and came across this hotel. My youngest is obsessed with Best Western, mainly because you have a heart in the middle of your waffle machine. So, when I found this hotel I booked it. The staff was very friendly. We didn't have any issues with the hotel or the room. The breakfast was good and well kept up. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I was visiting this hotel on business and was warmly greeted by Brittany at the front desk. I was pleasantly surprised to see the general manager running the front and although im sure she's got plenty of other responsibilities to manage, she was so kind and welcoming to me. She took time out of her day to help me out and even spent a little time chatting with me. Keep up the hard work! Hotel was clean & well maintained as well! :)

The security lock on our door needed to be replaced or repaire as the part on the door was damaged and the screws holding it in were falling out so the lock was basically useless. The shower bar was also loose on both sides so the bar itself was hanging down in the middle and consequently the shower curtain would not stay closed. These items were reported immediately and we were told they would be repaired. When we returned from a late dinner neither item was fixed. We reported again and were told they would be fixed the next day. We were gone the entire day and evening, returned at approximately 10:45 pm and neither item had been fixed. We mentioned items again at check out the following morning.

I went to this location for a combination of personal and business reasons. I looked at other hotels in Bradenton and found that, perhaps due to Spring Break, rates were quite high for the quality of hotel that I wanted. The Best Western Plus had the best value so, I chose it. This hotel is spotless and very well maintained. The staff are very professional and accommodating. However, for some reason, I noticed that there are times when nobody is behind the front desk. On one occasion even though I rang the bell that was left there nobody came for a few minutes. It seemed kind of odd to me that they don't always have somebody within earshot. I had two minor maintenance problems with my room but, they were very quick to get the fixed so, A+ for that. Overall a normal Best Western Plus experience except, this one really is way above normal in cleanliness.

They fake out the check out and provide a balance bill instead of a final. then they cjarge you more. They dont keep the promise of not cjarging a night you domt use if chack out earlier than booked. The man at front desk at night smells cigarrets or spmething else nasty.

We stayed here for 7 nights while visiting our son and his family in Bradenton and we will not be back. The good is that it is well located and we enjoyed meals at Cracker Barrel and Sonny's BBQ which are walking distance. The room was clean and the breakfast adequate. Our biggest problem was the lack of hot water in Room 310. It was good for one shower in the morning then the water became luke warm both in the shower and the faucet in the sink. We complained and asked the manager to contact us but they never did. Next up was a faulty desk chair that would not adjust and we went through 4 chairs and none of them would adjust. We also complained that the bed was uncomfortable. Eventually we got moved to another room and things were better. We complained to the front desk clerk on departure and asked the clerk to have the manager call us and they never did. While on the road I called the manager to air our grievances and she told me no one had notified her of our troubles. To their credit, they took money off our bill and gave us some Best Western Reward Points but the damage was done.

I needed to stay in the general vicinity of this property for 10 days. In doing research, this seemed to be the nicest (and most expensive) in the cluster of hotels in this area of Bradenton. As far as I can tell, it is the only one in this cluster that has central, lobby entry. My room was clean, and looked like it had been recently painted. Despite the close proximity to I-75, it was quite quiet. The accommodations were adequate, but not in any way luxurious. The carpets in the hallways was a bit dated, The elevator was beat up and emitted squeaks and rattles.. it worked, but it did not give you the feeling of reliability. Breakfast (included) was adequate to get you going. Usually an egg dish of some sort, bacon/sausage (microwaved), plus the option of the waffle machine, cereals and fruit. Usually there was hash browns or biscuits & gravy. Nothing fancy. My stay occurred during spring break so several of my nights cost in excess of $160/night.That's high for the caliber of this property, but because of spring break, there were not too many alternatives. The hotel is walking distance to a Cracker Barrel, a decent smoke house as well as McDonalds & Starbucks.I would consider this an adequate quick-stay business hotel, not a place for a vacation get-away.

I use Best Western a lot. They never let me down. We had a nice room on the first floor. It was quiet and clean. Staff was very friendly. It is located right off the interstate. Convenient fast food restaurants are close by.

The room was nice, more than enough space for 2 people. If I had to stay here again. I would because this was a spur of the moment thing. Wasn't planned at all and we were able to get a nice room at the last minute. The check in process was seamless but Brittany made our check out even smoother it was almost as if we were leaving a friend's home she was very courteous and professional. Brittany kept a ready smile as we walked up and as we left out of the doors I looked back and she was still there with a smile.

I have never stayed at a Best Western before this and needless to say I will NEVER be going back. From the time we entered the property it was a disaster. From the over proceed, double queen standard room price to the treatment given by the staff both at overnight and early morning!!! I was then charged without even being present after being promised that I would be contacted before such a transaction would take place. But, nope, not anything. Nothing at all. Just a surprise deduction from Best Western!! Thanks for the heads up!

The hotel has been renovated bit some things seemed to be amiss in our room. It wasn't up to the usual Best Western standard. We could hear normal conversation from the room beside us. Also it appeared that one bolt of the toilet wasn't long enough as it didn't seem to be attached at one side. The tub has been reglazed bit it's flaking off. The windows seem to have lost their seal too as they were very wet inside. Maybe it was just our room (a king junior suite). Breakfast was great and we slept soundly, so that's a plus!

Housekeeping failed to come to our room one night. Beds were not made, trash not emptied, no clean towels, no new soap or shampoos. Tthe night desk person provided towels and soap but offered no reason why we were missed. He promised to call back on a final resolution for an adjustment on the billing but that has not occurred to date. Hot water was generally warm at maximum but never hot.The check out person could hardly speak any English. Check in and out personnel were either incompetent or could hardly speak English. Try another exit for a hotel to stay at.

We stayed for two nights found the room clean, breakfast was basic but adequate.There are nearby places to eat and stores both within walking distance. Check out was fast and without fuss. Would use again.

Our 1st stay in this hotel and hope to return in a few months. The hotel was comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. This was a very nice Best Western. The location was super convenient, right off Manatee. The pool was very nice and the fitness room had everything you need. My room included breakfast and it was quite delicious!!

Very clean hotel. Convenient location. Breakfast is one of the best for a hotel. Hot biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage and other items. Not cheap on the disposable flatware either. The pool area was being repainted so the outdoor area was closed but is a pretty view. Manager man very accommodating checking on us as we made waffles and didn't know how to use the machine beeping.

I needed help with changing hotels because of my mom's surgery and Chanelle was so supportive! The other staff greeted you like you were home. Breakfast could use more choices. The hotel was very clean and even had the clean remote tv bags.

My stay at the Bradenton location exceeded my past experience with their high level of friendly employees and service. I highly recommend Best Western and especially Best Western Plus Bradenton.

Clean hotel, conveniently located. Staff very friendly. Chanelle at the front desk was especially professional, helpful and friendly. Always had a smile on her face. Very nice hotel that was convenient to the soccer tournament we were going to. They have a very nice breakfast and a nice outdoor pool. It is very convenient to an assortment of restaurants and a short drive to a nice shopping mall.

Our flight had a 24 hour delay and we had prepaid. When we checked in a day late we had to pay again - standard procedure. We ate at the nearby Cracker Barrel then headed to bed. They sell snacks and drinks so we bought a bottle of water from the front desk $2 - way overpriced!!!!! There was a smell of fresh paint in the corridors. Rooms were spacious and clean - no issues. Breakfast was the usual standard Best Western fare. Nothing special about this place. It was what we expected. Had we not been so overcharged for the water I would have given a 4 instead of a 3.

The room and hotel was immaculate. Great staff!! Andy, Lala, and Brittany were available to help with anything I needed and provided excellent service! Wonderful hot breakfast provided every morning. My room was very quiet and dark once the curtains were adjusted which made for a good night's rest along with a very comfortable bed!

We chose this hotel because of the distance from where we were traveling to. Going to Bayside Community Church for their 3 day 12 Conference for Teens. We were traveling with a total of 30 people including teens and adults. We checked in 10 rooms. Kyra helped check us in and get all the keys we needed, she also checked us out with ease as could be expected when doing 10 rooms. Awesome breakfast thank you to VD + KD, they made sure everything was stocked and fresh and maintained the area clean. Jenna gave a awesome pizza place to get lunch for our group and it was amazing. The pool area is nice and private for being next to the highway. Newly renovated so it looks great and clean. One of the nights 1 of the rooms had a problem with the bathroom sink, which they were able to put the people in a different room for the remainder of the stay since maintenance wouldn't be there until next day. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a little confusing to get the remotes for tv to work/figure out but we did ok. Since there are no meeting rooms the staff allowed us to use the area breakfast area in the lobby to meet as a group after breakfast hours. We did have to keep the noise down since the front desk is nearby. TK thank you for letting us know that the kids were letting the doors slam so we quickly addressed the issue with the group. Brittany thank you for taking our group photo. Overall, a pleasant stay at this location, the staff was attentive to our needs when we addressed them and were helpful when needed. For a large group of mostly teens I'd say they did an amazing job hosting us for a few days. Everyone was impressed and had a great stay. Checked in Sunday and checked out Wednesday. Will be looking forward to returning next year as we attend the conference again. Thank you to all the staff. United in Christ!!! :)

Great room and helpful service from Brittany who checked us in to Jenna who checked us out to Kim who made up our room. Our King suite was well appointed (oh, the pillows on the bed could be of a little higher quality). Our room was quiet and we had a great stay.

Reservation was made for a handicap room with two double beds. However, there was a mishap..The manager's staff and customer rep was so accommodating and professional, that I would recommend my family, friends and colleagues to your establishment.

We just came back from this hotel and the experience was less than what I would have expected. The 1st problem was no one was at the front desk to greet us when we came in and I waited for several minutes. When the employee came down she was unapologetic. The next problem was she had me sign a piece of paper that stated I understood that it was a non smoking facility and was no longer pet friendly. Had I brought my dog with me that would have been a huge problem because on the website it says it's a pet friendly hotel. The problems continued from there. The TV wasn't working. When I complained in the morning I was told that I was supposed to be given an instruction sheet when I checked in which I was not given. I am a frequent traveler and based on this visit I will choose another property to stay at when we are visiting in the Bradenton area.

We booked our stay at this property through the HBC group for a soccer tournament. Either HBC or the property management changed the room type for our reservation from two queens to a king bed room WITHOUT notifying us in advance. We found this out after driving more than 5 hours upon check-in. I know that these issues sometimes pop up, but the desk clerk absolutely handled the challenge poorly from the start. She had no sympathy for the situation, was overly dramatic insisting that it was on our end, and was clearly ill prepared to handle a stressful situation. Her manager was also not overly understanding. We will not stay here again.

Pros: Friendly staff (Kvi and V.D in the breakfast area were helpful), clean room, decent breakfast. Cons: We wished the hot breakfast had vegetarian options. Overall, it was a comfortable stay! Would definitely recommend

We stayed in the BWP Bradenton for two nights. The rooms are ok, but a little bit old fashion. We asked at the reception for an recommendation to visit Anna Maria Island The receptionist Jenna guided us and it was perfect. We thank her so much for her ideas. We had a small lunch at the beach house and enjoyed the sun set at Lido Key. We will never forget the sunset there and it was better than in Key West. An excellent example that the people make the difference.

I try to stay with Best Western when possible and usually the Best Western Plus title means good quality and value. To be upfront this hotel was under construction but that did not excuse the inexperience of the staff and high price for the room. On this trip we stayed at 8 different locations and this was the worst bang for the buck.

Staff was great room was clean short stay but was overall happy with all amenities plenty of restaurants close by we'll stay at this property next time I am in the Bradenton or Sarasota area on business

Terrible! It was so bad I took pictures! Urine dried on the pedestal of the commode and floor, hair in the tub, loose bathtub mat, continual dripping bathtub faucet, dirty carpet in hallway, missing baseboards in the hall. We've stayed at some gorgeous places for much less. The only thing that DID NOT qualify this place as the very worst place we've ever stayed is that we did not see any bugs. I could smell other people's cologne, perfume and BO on the blankets and top bed coverlet.

This hotel certainly does not warrant the Plus designation, unless is standard for "Plus construction". The hotel is under renovation, and there is significant road work being done nearby. Our room was very tired, the closet door was off the track, the wood near the sink was water damaged, and you can see the carpet is being replaced. Not sure they should remain open in this state. On the plus side, if you can get an even numbered room your view is peaceful.

We stayed a year ago and it was pleasing to see that the front desk was still the same. A lot had changed. The whole hotel was being refurbished both inside and out but the work was being carried out in a sympathetic manner causing as little disturbance as possible. The room we had was comfortable and we had the best nights sleep in an hotel for sometime. The shower head had been changed, a new large tv and remote was in situ and new pictures hung. The breakfast was good and varied over the period we stayed.

Stayed in this hotel one week ago. While looking for a place, website indicated this business allowed pets. A call to confirm indicated no pets were allowed. We therefore made other arrangements for our pets Over the next three days we saw other guests with pets. On the first occasion, we were told pets were only permitted on the first floor. Our room was on the third floor so no pets. OK At breakfast the next day, we watched one guest and pet ride the elevator up and down on at least two occasions. What gives?? It seems a pet using the elevator is not staying in the ground floor. This disparity caused a feeling of unfairness on our part. We would have preferred to have our two pets with us instead of 20 minutes away Overall the hotel was adequate. Pool needs to be cleaned. Staff was helpful when asked. The male that worked evenings/nights was the most helpful of all. Any questions were met with a smile and our comings/goings noted with a "hello" or "goodbye". Until this hotel figures out the pet policy, we will stay elsewhere. It should be noted that we stayed at a Best Western in Lake City with no issues at all

Front desk needs to be staff better, staff is always working some place else. Room need to be updated. Rugs are not clean. Walking on them barefoot will dirty your feet. Breakfast is average at best. Air quality in room was poor.

Not a typical stay at a Best Western, particularly as a BW Plus. Front desk staff not very welcoming. Hotel was under construction but that was not a problem. Room was OK & clean. Had trouble with the card keys, which required visits to the front desk to get them re-keyed. Sink would not drain and we reported it to the front desk, but it was never corrected. Very disappointing stay.

Price too high for the quality of the hotel due to renovations. Carpets were heavily soiled with stains. Nasty odor throughout. Would not recommend it. Motel 6 located next door looked better inside than this one. And it was less than 1/2 price.

Stayed here for 2 nights before flying out of TPA. Booked 2 rooms. Check in was ok, put us on second floor across from each other. Room 207, smelled like bleach, to cover the mildew smell, bathroom door was totally off its hinges and would not close. The other room, 208 seemed ok until you took a shower, then mildew smell that permiated the whole bedroom even with the bathroom fan on constantly and door closed. Asked housekeeping to pour some bleach down the drains, didn't help...now it smelled like bleach and mildew! Breakfast was ok, until things started to breakdown. One lone staffer was trying her best to manage front desk and buffet area...she was totally overwhelmed. The ongoing construction was haphazard to say the least. They really should have closed off sections or totally close during the renovation...this is a very TIRED Bestwestern and in no way would it be deemed a PLUS. On second day of our stay, got to room and card key didn't work, had to go back to desk to get new keys. The wifi worked well and free parking and right off the I75 so it is a 50 min drive to TPA via I275 and Sunshine Causeway Bridge throu St Petersburg.

The hotel is under construction and either the workers are living here or family of workers are. Children running around and going behind the desk and answering the phone. There was one person to handle the front desk and cook breakfast. She was overwhelmed. There should have been a manager here at the hotel. Breakfast was a disaster. The waffle iron was broken, the hot plate to keep food warm was broken. there wasn't any eggs, and had to wait on coffee. The room was fair. It had a musty smell and it took hours for it to go away with the fan on. They should have closed the hotel during construction. To Best western... You should check on hotels who use your name I'm getting a bad feeling about the entire Best Western franchise.

This is not a 3 star hotel! Upon arrival we found the lobby and halls to be a mess. Even the single available baggage cart was in need of tires. No baseboard anywhere and all hall carpeting in terrible shape. All hall walls have wet paint signs. Very strong paint smell everywhere. But that's just touch up and primer not top coat...lots more to do We asked to change rooms. They gave us key cards to a new room...Surprise! it was occupied. But we have the key! Wonder who will get keys to our room while we sleep? Very over priced especially during renovation. Check to be sure all renovations are complete before staying. Go one more exit!

Each time I go to a Best Western it's the same disappointment. Key card machine took 10 minutes to issue the key, old-looking painting even though it might be new, old carpeting even though it might be new, some construction here and there, unfinished paining in the bathroom, missing coffee maker, missing lamp cover near the bed. Not sure it's worth the money but not many alternatives around here. Maybe good for one night and get out. On the positive side: Nice front desk person and friendly people overall, good breakfast omelet, easy checkout, and comfortable bed.

Have stayed here several times and Chris the manager has gone above and beyond. The rooms are clean and all of the staff are friendly. They have nice selection for breakfast and always have some snacks and drinks available in lobby. Close to Cracker Barrel.

The lobby was so clean,breakfast was devine! Kirsten was so sweet checking my husband and I in at 3:00pm sharp!We remember name because she was always on top of how relaxed we were and how are room was.Best looking hotel i the area we will be back next year!

We stayed here for only one night on a trip from the Florida Keys to Crystal River, it's very conveniently located close to the 75. Our room was clean and beds comfortable- ok for a stop over. Lady on reception was welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately our room keys didn't work so we had to get new ones and they didn't work again following breakfast. The title of this review refers to the shower - the force of water comes out so quickly it's hard to turn off and stop flooding the floor. Breakfast was similar to others we have had in Florida on this trip - disposable plates and plastic cutlery. Our room although it had a window overlooked a concrete wall.

This IS the hotel we stayed in on the 10th and 11th of Nov. and they charged my husband over 400.00, when the lady told him on the phone it would be 94.00 a night, this is the one the elevator broke down on my husband and there were dead bugs in our room, when we came back to out room on Sat, our card was deactivated and we could not get back in our room. The breakfast had little to be desired. The tub had undisclosed hair in it, the refrigerator froze all of our drinks and the rails on the in side were broken. The room was very dim, and children were running up and down the halls and playing in the elevator. The front desk staff were very rude and did not want to hear that on the phone the operator quoted us 94.00 a night and not the over rated price they charged us of over 400.00. For that price I would of stayed at the Hilton Hotel!! I will not stay at these hotels again.

hotel was great...everything was wonderful...staff very friendly and provided us with directions to our adventures...breakfast was yummy....location was great...1/2 way to anna maria island...and 1/2 way to Sarasota...ringling museum....and siesta key....

We thought that this would be a great stay but when we got the room, the lights were really dim, the refrigerator froze all of our drinks and the inside bar in the frig. was broken so you have to lay your drinks down, the tub had body hair in it (so it wasn't clean), the carpet had dead bugs in the corner, children were running up and down the halls, the elevator broke 3 times and one of those times my husband was in it. The employees at the front desk did not acknowledge you, they were pretty rude, no smiles there. Breakfast was a little less to be desired.

This hotel was convenient to the highway and was clean. The pool was nice with lounge chairs all around it. The fitness center could be updated a bit but did the job. Overall good room with everything we needed!

The BWPlus in Bradenton is in a great location, close to highways, store and restaurants. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast is fresh and hot every morning and the staff serving breakfast is polite, and always refilling the food or coffee and keeping all the tables clean. Great experience. However, the management of the BWPlus could invest in newer equipment or better maintain the equipment onsite like the telephone lines in the rooms, the washing machine for the laundry service the TVs in the equipment room so the staff does not have to continually apologize for items like that not working and trying to accommodate the patron.

First room was dirty and refrigerator was flooded Second room stunk. We walked out This happened October 31. Corporate told us manager would call me. Never did. Corporate said they would call on Monday never did Then the first review disappeared from this site. This hotel is one step above a welfare setting

We stayed at the BW off US 75, and was pleasantly rewarded with a nice experience. At check in, Kirsten greeted us and got us settled in easily, especially since we had a long trip getting here. The room was very clean and neat, has microwave and a small fridge, and had a nice view. Breakfast was basic, but got us going until lunch. Would recommend for a good stay.

My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend in Bradenton, FL visiting family and our experience with Best Western Plus complimented that visit. We utilized internet services which was excellent and the free hot breakfast that was varied, hot and well organized. The hotel and the room was very clean and we though the room was quite comfortable. Based on pricing and value, we will certainly be staying at this Best Western on our trips to the Bradenton, FL area.

The Best Western and staff at the hotel, mainly the manager Brittany, were a huge help and an oasis for us as we evacuated for Hurricane Irma. The rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and they went above and beyond to ensure everyone was safe and tended to during this tough time. They allowed us to stay out of the rain in the lobby as we waited for our room to be available, fed us, even offered us homemade vegetable soup at 10 PM as they knew food and water were limited during this disaster. The Best Western made this stressful experience as easy as possible, and staff like Brittany ensured everyone was happy and in high spirits. Highly recommended and likely to stay again, this time hopefully not in order to escape a hurricane :)

Staff was top notch. I would recommendthat it to everyone visiting. The entire staff dis all they physically could for everyone people who did not have a room were offered what accommodations they had. Roll away beds. Blankets. Pillows

We had booked Motel 6 as a result of Hurricane Irma and we were in evacuation Zone A. When we arrived it was closed. We went to Best Western to ask for a room but the hotel was full. The General Manager, Brittany said that as we had been evacuated we should remain in the hotel. One guest called to cancel so we got the room. The next night the hotel was fully booked. Again, we were asked to remain in the hotel. We were given food and drinks all day and as there were no room cancellations we were very kindly given a bed each in the gym so that we were safe. Brittany, Ankara and all the staff were so kind to us and we were so grateful for this.

I booked a room here quite a few days before the seriousness of a possible Cat 5 hurricane was coming but upon searching the web, I saw that this hotel was pet friendly so I reserved for the impending storm. When I first arrived I thought well its nothing to fancy but it will do. Well let me tell you this staff was absolutely amazing!! The manager's name was Brittany and always had a pleasant smile, asking how you were and if you needed anything. She made sure that food such as bagels, muffins, etc were available 24 hours to insure that guests that may not have had food were taken care of as everything was closed for the storm. She even baked wonderful chocolate chip cookies and walked around passing them out trying to alleviate the obvious stress we all were going through. Travelers that had no reservation and were almost in tears were allowed to stay in the lobby to shelter and at one point they provided cots in the fitness room. I cannot remember all of the staff's names but Ankur, Andy, the maids, maintenance, laundry were unbelievable and also stayed there through the whole storm with their own families so they could attend to guests. At one point as they eye of the hurricane approached, I saw all of the staff in the hallway holding hands and praying for the guests, their families and all the others in our community to be safe. This was really touching to see. While we were people from many different types and from different backgrounds we were all one family keeping each others spirits up and looking out for one another. Thank you so much Best Western Staff and especially the manager Brittany!!

My stay was very enjoyable due to the fact that the staff has been so helpful and kind. Brittany and Andy are the most accommodating employees because they always ask what they can do to make my stay better and always have a smile on their face.

Brittany and Ryan really went above and beyond their job duties. Our house was flooded we arrived at 5 a.m!!! We got a realy NICE CLEAN room with 2 king beds and had our DOG! BRITTANY gave us a bunch of sundries, snack bags for all and A reassuring smile! We were evacuated and had nothing! She knock on our door a half hour after we got in with 3 warm blankets!!! She started breakfast early so we could have hot food in our belly and let us know it was ready!!! Her kindness was received with tears. The sense of relief I felt... my family was safe, warm and fed! THANK YOU BRITTANY AND RYAN!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, the breakfast had a nice variety every morning, and the staff was amazing. Every staff member was kind and worked very hard. The General Manager, Brittany Holley, was outstanding. All day, every day, she was seen around the hotel making sure everything was running smoothly. I saw her vacuuming, sweeping the pool area after a bad storm, and checking to make sure there was enough breakfast for people who were a little late getting downstairs to the eating area. Every service here was done with a smile. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice, clean hotel with a free breakfast.

Overall stay and location were very good. Breakfast could have been a little better, and fitness room had a weird smell in it. Pool was really nice, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall clean.

I paid extra for my room to have a spa bath tub. After checking in, I found out the tub was broken. I was very disappointed. That was the main purpose I choose this hotel and they where booked so I was unable yo change rooms.

Not a bad hotel.. easy to get to and close to some food and drinks.. not far from things you need.. most staff was friendly.. was quiet at night and breakfast was decent able to make waffles which kid and hubby were happy about

Rooms were outdated, towels not fluffy, bed uncomfortable, smelled when we walked into our room. The front lobby needs updating, pool did not work, Breakfast was OK, but what do you want for the amount that we paid. Just needs serious updating.

Excellent location and great price for the area. Hotel front desk personnel were very friendly and not only gave me multiple suggestions for dinner, but driving directions. My room was very clean, great bed & pillows, and Internet was fast. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, off the main road and directly across from the Sarasota-Bradenton airport. I would happily stay there again in a hearbeat.

Everything was ok with the hotel. The only complaint that my family has is that the pool was out of service and this was never informed to us upon booking or afterwards. Upon arrival, we were shocked to see that the pool was out of service and having 2 adolescent children being on summer vacation, we were highly disappointed.

I had to get my room key rekey everyday after returning to the hotel, I had two rooms both were the same. . Also wife and kids went to the pool and saw a snake. The staff just scared the snake in the bushes but did not get rid of it. My wife would not go out to the pool again.

From the time I walked in the door after a long drive, I was rewarded with the best bubbly desk clerk who made me feel welcome. The room was perfectly clean and the bed felt like it was new. In the morning, the man at the desk helped me fix my breakfast to go with the warmest smile. What a superior job and this is a must place for any traveler!

One of the best beds away from home i have ever slept on! Comfortable and Clean! The only problem we had was really not a problem, just kids running in the hallway late at night. But they had just arrived and checked in. Kids will be kids, just running off some energy before bed! The breakfast was fantastic, home made waffles were great so were the biscuits and gravy! Will be staying at BW Plus Again!

In town looking for a home to purchase. Have always stayed Best Western wherever we travel. The company has been good to us. Good rewards program. Prefer room on first floor, near reception area, as my spouse has back problems and can't walk distances.

Convenient to restaurants, the highway and for most people there is a STARBUCKS right around the corner! =) There is a microwave and a fridge in every room which is so convenient for those long nights on the computer. The bathroom was a nice size as was the desk and sitting area. The outdoor pool area was even very nice, even if I only got to take a picture of it due to my schedule! The breakfast was ok, they tried really hard to make ti very nice. I would stay again.

More like a playground the a hotel. Staff was great. It's hard to believe you pay this much for kids running up and down the floors, dribbling basketballs and soccer balls bouncing off walls. Very noisy entrance couldn't even get a coffee. PARENTS and hotel to blame.

Good stay, convenient from I75. Very friendly nice and clean. BFast could be a bit better but all around a good stay. Not to far to shops and to the beach. Many stores or fast food around there too. The hotel had a little store too where you can buy snacks and drinks

How can this hotel be classed as a Plus ??? It had no 'plus' to be seen !!! Rooms very basic and dark, coffee machine next to the toilet ??? Perhaps they think that's the place to enjoy a hot drink ???? Being British we were appalled at the breakfast offering that was presented in a small inadequate seating area. Paper plates, cups and plastic cutlery too. Not what we would expect from a Best Western but it seems to be the American way. A throwaway society. So, no breakfast thank you, even being 'free'. Reduce the room rates !!!

When I opened the door and sew a sofa with a 6 inch slit and stains on it, I thought this can't be the right hotel. Unfortunately, it was the right room. Even after discussing thiis with three different front desk employees, nothing was done.. We stayed there for 3 nights.. There was no hair dryer, but they did send one of those up to our room. Our remote had the back missing and the batteries kept coming out. They fixed it with paper and scotch tape. It still didn't work. The cost for 3 nights was $497.00. It wasn't worth $30.00 a night. What a disappointment.

We were lucky to find before laying down in the bed. The sheets were full with long hair. One sheet was dirty, it looked like a 'booger' was sticking on the sheet. We called the front desk and they brought us supposedly clean sheets, one of those sheets had hair on them as well!!!! Disgusting The only answer to that is that their laundromat is very outdated and cannot clean the sheets appropriately or the sheets were never washed!!! Beware if you stay here for cleanliness especially your bedsheets. LAST TIME I STAY AT BEST WESTERN, that's for sure!!!

The bed was slightly uncomfortable. Had an allergic reaction to the bedding, but it went away once the sheets were changed. Other than the bedding, the place was clean, decently priced and had good freeway access. Wireless internet would cut in and out from time to time.

The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the air conditioner very quiet during the night. The breakfast was nice- waffles, eggs, bagels, yogurt, cereal, hash brown potatoes etc and the coffee excellent. Several restaurants very close as was gas station. Easy to get to off 75. I would stay here again.

CLC beware! Worst customer service ever! booked 2 nights on CLC which I do weekly for work travels and they cancelled my reservation because I didn't check in by 11pm(never heard that from a hotel in my life and again I use CLC weekly). Was able to accommodate me for 1 night but was sold out for 2 nights so because THEY cancelled my reservation I had to find a place to stay the next night! Finding a hotel in a beach area the day of is nearly impossible and I had to spend double the price of my original reservation at a different hotel. When I called to tell the manager Brittany, she refused to do anything for me and when I told her I'd be speaking with someone else her response was "go ahead then, try". Are you serious? No one wants to show up after a long day of traveling and find out the HOTEL canceled their reservation without at least calling them to make sure they were still coming. Go to Hampton inn down the street, it's cleaner, it's nicer, and they understand customer service!

Clean and acceptable hotel, but overpriced @ $200 a night for a bed and basic breakfast. The beds were very comfortable, the shower had great water pressure. A decent place to stay for a night. A clean place.

We waited until last minute to book with our cat. they were very willing to let us check in early since there were rooms available. Relaxing and clean. Friendly front desk. I would recommend this Best Western to anyone.

Our high school lacrosse team stayed at Best Western and the service was impressive. The staff and the facilities were excellent. They even worked with us to check out late, so the entire team could get showers after our game, and before we went to the airport. If we come back next year the only place we will stay is this Best Western Plus.

The carpets were filthy after wearing white socks they were grey. The remote on TV didn't work after trying 4 new remotes. Bathroom flooded from upstairs and we had to move at 2:00am. After we moved to another room things were better. We could turn off the AC unit if we needed to. The other room the AC button didn't work and they didn't fix it.

Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff, comfy bed and room, clean room, pretty good breakfast. Overall stay was great and an excellent value. Best Western is probably one of the most consistent chains for quality and value of the medium priced hotel chains. No exception here, I highly recommend this hotel

Pool was out of order and we were not advised at check in. Breakfast (eggs & sausage) were at room temperature as the serving pan heater was not working. This is not healthy due to bacteria. Elevator went out of service twice and we are both handicapped. Additionally, the elevator permit has expired the month before.

This is a dated hotel - only one, slow, elevator. Had sugar ants crawling on the lamp on the nighstand. The towels smelled funny - not sure what the smell was. Very humid in the room, with a loud air conditioner. The staff was very nice though. Breakfast was good and bed was comfortable; except that I kept worrying about ants crawling on me.

Spent a week here at the end of August. Arrived on Saturday without my luggage (thanks United airlines) and the staff couldn't of been more helpful. Offered to call the airline and if I needed any toiletries. Luckily my bag arrived the next morning. Throughout my stay all the staff were friendly and happy to offer advice. Breakfast was great! My son loved the fruit loops and waffle maker. Room was spacious and the maids came everyday. The pool was clean. Location wise the hotel is convenient for the freeway but a car is needed to go anywhere other thank a few restaurants and Starbucks which are close by. I had a issue on my last night with noisy neighbours so I called the front desk and they sorted immediately. I would definitely come back and stay at this best western. Thanks for a great stay.

Although the majority of the recent reviews were positive I was a bit apprehensive when reserving a room here for a 2-day business trip. The location was easy to find off the I-75 from Tampa and FL-64 led directly to where I had to be the next day in Bradenton. The locale was fine but certainly not a high end area. However my concerns left me as I was greeted by Brittany at front desk. She acknowledged my diamond status which was nice and offered me an upgraded room which was appreciated. The room was a little worn but all the furniture was in good shape and all was clean. The climate control, tv, fridge etc were all in working order. The internet worked well. The bathroom was clean; water pressure was fine. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet so had a great sleep. The breakfast was standard fare. If I'm back in the area again I won't hesitate going back to this hotel.

Best western was nice for a small stay. Did not have continental breakfast as we slept in. The check-in and checkout process was very smooth and Samira was very helpful and friendly as was all the staff. Best western was tucked in a quiet little area could see freeway but didn't really hear the traffic a bonus considering they are located right off I-75

Prices were good and room was very clean. I had a problem with my t.v. but The Desk Clerk Came Up To My Room And Fixed It Right Away For me. The only problem I have is the curtains are half curtains and don't keep the outside lights out but other than that this is a good place to stay and rest.

Very nice place, all good clean we had a great time in the pool with the children. we are planning to go back soon . my enjoy the stay the restaurants are very close . for sure we will be back to BW resorts

We had booked one room for two nights to attend our granddaughter's high school graduation and party. When we got to our room the a/c was not cooling the room properly. We reported it, but it was not corrected properly. We booked a second room for the next night, but it was worse than the first room. Standing water in the carpet from the a/c, remote to the TV not working were the top issues. We were given a fan.

When we entered our room, it had not been made up. The ironing board was up, the bed was wrinkled and poorly made and there were pieces of clothing present. This completely turned us off. We were moved to another room, but did not have wifi! The breakfast was good. When we asked about local restaurants nearby, the clerk did not have information. He was not professionally dressed. The wifi was not working in the business center. Outside we drove in, there was a large trash bin from the next door hotel which had been emptied in a while. The area is strewn with shopping carts.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. When they realized that we didnt eat the sausage in omlet they made us a special one without sausage. When we want to use their phone for calling sonewhere, they allowed us to use it as well.

The facilities are OK, but staff needs to be more attentive and helpful. Housekeeping started knowing in our door at 10 am... check out is supposed to be 11 am. They went to our room 4 times before check out time.. .and they even call the front desk when we were checking out at 11:04 am ... disappointing :(

We were in the Bradenton area and needed to find a location close to Anna Maria Island for a night's stay. The overall experience was excellent and the front desk person (Brittany) was outstanding. She was the most pleasant person we've ever had at a hotel. She was extremely friendly and courteous and the niext morning for breakfast she was her cheerful self again. She was helping anyone with questions and ensuring everyone was enjoying the breakfast.

Stayed 4 nights with my wife and 2 dogs. Very comfortable room/bed and kept very clean. Had an issue with the sink and tub drain being slow to drain that the housekeeping staff noticed also but did nothing to fix. Breakfast was okay with very cheery staff but stuff seemed to continually run out and we had to wait to get it replenished rather than them refilling before it ran out. Overall a good value in a quiet location with close by restaurants and a big open lot across the street for the dogs to explore.

This Place Was Awful... I Would Not Stay There Ever Again.. The AC Did Not Work... When I told the clerk the next day all he does is pick up the phone to call maintenance.. No Discount for Having An Awful Night.. Then by Accident I left my phone in the room not realizing it till an 2 hours later.. I called the hotel the tell me to call back at 3.. By then I would be back home. He says when u get home call to see if we find it.... I Was Furious.. Got on my friends GPS I Traced it back to the hotel room.. When I went to ask the Maid Was Half way up the hall.. I said to her did u find my phone by chance? She says to me Yes it was on the side of the couch & took me back to the room where she had put it under the sheets & such. Instead of Bringing to the Hotel Clerk At Once.... I Was So Mad

This was an ok hotel, the colors of the room left something to be desired, dark, not attractive, I think the room was painted about 5 different unattractive colors. Very poor lighting in the bathroom for women trying to fix their hair and put makeup on. Otherwise as far as hotels go it was fine. A bit over priced because it's Florida!

We stayed at this particular hotel as it was recommended by a course suppliers that my wife was attending. It's close to i75 which is very convenient and there are local places within walking distance to eat (Cracker Barrel and a BBQ place, plus Mc Donalds and Waffle House). The beds are very large and comfortable, however the pillows are very small (length). The A/C is effective but noisy when it kicks in/out. So is the fridge, so sleep wasn't the best. I sat by the pool whilst my wife did her course, however it was very noisy from nearby roads so not the most conducive for relaxation. Breakfast was basic but adequate. A others have experienced the TV can be problematic since they installed the Bright House HD TV service. In our room the remote would not work if you were sat on your bed, nor if very near to the TV. Only place it worked consistently was half way between! This wasn't anything to do with line of sight to the remote sensor on the TV as it didn't matter if you were laying or standing on the bed.

Comfortable and clean but overpriced compared to Hampton or Holiday Inn express. I have stayed in several cities in the Southeast US and find overall Best Western is a little too expensive compared with the competition. The staff is competent but not friendly. They do not make you feel specially "welcome". The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms seem to have chips and dings in the tiles. I will stay again because I get a night free (having stayed 2 prior occasions). If you sign up for the rewards you have to tell them each time- they don't automatically look it up and offer. This is rather disappointing.

Very clean room and extremely helpful desk staff! We had asked for suggestions on places to eat for dinner and they offered suggestions and directions. Room was impeccably clean (and I am very critical in this area). Bed slept well. Overall an extremely positive stay

Completely un-professional and no element of customer service. The staff clearly don't care about satisfying their guests and fail on many levels. It was my first stay at a Best Western Plus and probably my last.

This is a great hotel and very clean and comfortable. The staff are very kind and caring but the TV (in two different rooms !) was not responsive to the remote except after disconnecting all kinds of wires !! The staff, too, were as frustrated as I was. I did the same as they did and sometimes it worked for (the staff and) me and sometimes it didn't.

Upon relocation arrival to Bradenton, we entered our new Florida home only to discover the air conditioner was zapped... >95 degrees inside. We went to this Best Western tired and freefalling into the money pit. The desk clerk must have seen the bedraggled look in our eyes and spoke kindly as he welcomed us to Bradenton. He gave us a good deal on our room and the accommodations were clean, fresh...the bed very comfortable. The hotel is appealing and has nice amenities. We checked out only to again return after another hot day as another day without air conditioning passed. The clerk remembered us and welcomed us back...same deal. This guy, and this Best Western will go down in my book as a life encounter that created a pivotal difference because of good hospitality, friendly service and quality standards.

Was in the area for a family birthday gathering. Nothing was particularly a good rate this time of year. However, rates here were competitive and my experience was quite good: clean and modern room, well kept grounds and lobby, well stocked breakfast items with staff very good about restocking items as needed. Did not use the pool but it was a decent size and surrounding area very attractive and well maintained. Location just off I-75 was a plus for my traveling in area.

Very disappointed in a highway hotel at pricey rate, since it is so run-down. Problems with our room included: - A 6" rip in the sofa arm, it was an ugly gash greeting us each time we entered the room - Broken blackout drapes. The clip was missing / torn off the drape edge on one side so it would not shut completely. Light streamed in all night. - Faulty shower diverter valve - more than half the water went down the tub faucet and down the drain, rather than through the shower head. - Faulty sink stopper - wouldn't open up much, so you got to watch whatever was in the sink for a while. Also, the breakfast buffet was mediocre at best. When I checked out, I brought the room problems to the attention of the lady at the desk. She informed me that since I had booked through Expedia / Hotels .com she couldn't adjust our charges, but she did give me 1,000 rewards points. There are BOATLOADS of hotels in this area, check them out, stay at someplace better than this.

Having never stayed at a Best Western "Plus" before when I booked this room for a spring training baseball trip I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very similar in amenities and style to a Holiday Inn Express but was substantially less expensive than the Holiday Inn Express nearby. The bed was very comfortable and the showerhead was strong. To me, those are the biggest concerns with a new-to-me hotel. A nice feature is a washer and dryer on the second floor. Finally there is a decent breakfast bar with eggs and sausages plus pastries etc. included in the room rate.

Was her on business excellent place to stay. very quite and safe area for a women traveling alone. the beds were comfortable. Staff friendly. Excellent internet connection. Will stay here again. Have a great breakfast. very clean pool. Cracker Barrel right down the road.

Hotel was clean. Be wary of using Booking.com as the prices are higher than they should be for the value. The staff was very good and cared about the service they provided. The halls were a bit narrow and it could get congested at the elevator,

I have to agree that the hotel needs up dates all around but was better then the last BW I stayed in. Beds were comfortable and that is important to me. Bathroom was clean but needs to be updated. The towel bar was just hanging on. Breakfast was a good point.

This hotel is old and requires updates. The cost is extremely high for what you get. The area is not great and the hotel was expensive. Don't bother getting a 'suite' as its nothing more than a 2 foot wall with a very small sofa sleeper. Internet is patchy so don't count on it if needed for work.

This was an impressive place. Obviously very well managed. Room was clean. Very nice breakfast area. An employee was there making sure there were enough plates and food; clearing things away to keep it neat and tidy. I think this hotel also seemed to attract a nice, polite clientele. Everyone in the breakfast room was congenial and polite. Two women behind the desk greeted us with smiles and light hearted kidding. Very personable. They directed us to a little convenience store located within this whole compound of hotels ( so it was nice not having to go out on the main road again and battle traffic, etc.). My husband ran out and got gas and was able to pick up a few items that we needed--all with just one stop. I felt safe walking my dog outside there. Again, bags provided for the dogs' waste. Recommend Anna Marie's Oyster House which was dog friendly outside and had good seafood. We used Uber to get there and back. Although we didn't use it, this hotel has a great area with a washer and dryer for guests on the second floor! Love that! But since it was only the second night of our trip, I didn't have anything that needed to be washed yet. But I peeked in and again--found it in perfect order and clean. Everything about this hotel was a plus. And thank goodness because I always have a little angst when we go to these hotels located right off the interstate. In spite of reviews, sometimes they can be sort,of cruddy (and I feel responsible for choosing the place for my husband and me). But I got kudos from the husband for finding this gem.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of the room especially the working of the refrigerator and A/C unit. I expected more for the amount the room cost. The value was just not there. No complaints about the breakfast or the staff.

We stayed at this hotel for several nights on our recent trip to Florida and we couldn't have made a better choice. From our welcome at the front desk to our check-out four days later, the staff contributed to making our stay most enjoyable.The best part was that this well run hotel is actually great value for the price of a stay. It would be difficult indeed to beat this hotel for value.

Stayed here for two nights around the first of Feb 216. We used a coupon from Hotel Coupons, a publication found in tourism kiosks. The coupon saved us over $50 per night. Rooms were nice, breakfast was pleasant. Over all, we were quite pleased.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel, staff was very helpful. Picked this location because it was next to Harley dealer. Did not use the pool, had breakfast though, typical hotel hot buffet. Would return next time in the area.

We stayed here on accumulated Best Western "points", and based on other on-line evaluations. I must say it was a disappointment, from the check-in when the desk clerk failed to realize that we were using points to "pay" fo the stay, to the stuffy and poorly ventilated room to the "quality" of the breakfast offerings. The room was sufficiently clean, but striking my ankle (4 times!) on metal jutting out from the bed frame was not a comforting experience. Still can not imagine why there were water stains and cracks on the ceiling of our first floor room. Had I been paying cash for this room, or not accompanied by a friend, I would have not stayed here

Stayed here for several nights while visiting in the area. Room was adequate and comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly. Complimentary breakfast was decent although the seating area was a little small. Utilized the guest laundry, which was nice. Dining options nearby.

Yes it is renovated, but that does not mean everything is in super awesome shape. Renovations sometimes mean sprucing up the decor/giving a facelift, which is what I think happened here. It is still important to make sure wall outlets are secure to the wall, walls/ceilings are clean, popcorn machines are cleaned out at the end of each day, breakfast area is clean with enough food out. It's those little things that make a big difference in a real renovated hotel or a facelift renovated hotel.

This is not a suites hotel. The fold out is in the same room as the bed. The hotel claims to have been recently updated, but the update was three years ago. The Fold out couch did not have clean sheets. I had to take it off the couch and lay it on the floor to sleep on it, as the couch springs were too poor to sleep on. Breakfast was poor and not well maintained.

Clean, well maintained property. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great value for the price. Good location, property is easily accessible from major roadways. Quick easy ride to downtown Sarasota, Bradenton, and north to St. Petersburg and Tampa. Will stay here again

Stopped here during our Florida trip for the Christmas holidays. Had to wait for a while for the desk clerk to show up to check in. Went back later to ask for a recommendation for a restaurant and had to wait for him to show up. After dinner we went to purchase water and some candy before going back to our room and had to wait for him to show up again. Front desk was unmanned most of the time. Room wasn't that great compared to other hotels that we stayed at that cost less.

I would definetelly will be staying in the Bradenton Best Wester Plus again. The Staff was real friendly and guest oriented. Breakfast bar was always replenish and well kept clean and sanitized. Reception girl was really friendly...

I enjoyed my stay. Close to shopping and my work. numerous restaurants close excellent location . I would recommend to family and friends. hot breakfast and Very clean and roomy rooms no stale odors. would stay again.

I have to say I am so disappointed in this hotel. I stayed here earlier this year, and was so pleased, but yesterday when we checked in, we checked right back out. One of the two rooms we had, had bugs in it. They were all over the night stand and pillows. We went downstairs and found out there were no other rooms available. At first the front desk employee was just going to go up to the room and spray it with bug spray. We told him that was not acceptable, and if there were no other rooms, we were just going to leave. The clerk was accomodating by canceling the room without penalty, but then we had the huge inconvenience of finding 2 rooms, late at night.

This was a very nice clean hotel with everything you need already in the room. great internet service free breakfast. very up to date place. Very good experience. would most definitely stay here again

Enjoyed room features, cleanliness, and warm breakfast! I read reviews and checked out room before deciding and was very pleased. Carpet fresh smelling, bedding clean, bathroom and shower curtains also fresh and not musty smelling. Thank you for a quick and friendly desk.

this was a very nice hotel and room bed was very comfortable room was surprisingly quiet even though our room faced 75 did not eat breakfast here because there was a starbucks around the corner from the hotel

While the rooms were very nice, the beds were a little too soft for our tastes. The breakfast area was adequate, but not always with timely filled hot food containers. The eggs and meat trays often empty while more were being heated; They should be kept full for the whole breakfast time. The hotel itself was neat and clean, but the breakfast area had a full trash bin. It needed to be emptied and wiped down clean on the outside. The 3rd & 4th mornings had another person supplying the breakfast who was much more on the ball. Overall a good hotel and we would stay again.

This hotel is convenient to everything and economical. The service was excellent and the place is very clean. The employees were very friendly and accommodating. The room we had was very roomy. Breakfast was good. Will stay here again for sure.

I am staying here now Nov. 01/15. The place is awesome for what they are charging. I was worried when I booked here because of the few negative reviews but I think they were left by people that can't be made happy. The room is very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good and the pool is awesome! The negative reviews are completely unfounded and without merit, if there was any truth to them then the hotel has done a great job addressing the issues!

Stayed during a trip while helping family relocate. The rooms are clean, beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was average but acceptable. My biggest review goes to a staff member who worked the desk at night. He was so helpful in so many ways. Always polite, respectful. Such a fine, fine young man and a pleasure to meet.

Hotel was clean and modern. Ice machine on second floor was out of ice. Air conditioner in our room did not blow very hard. Shower head sprayed everywhere. When we first entered the hotel I had to wait at front desk for about 15 minute before someone came from the back to assist me. Over not a bad hotel; management needs to pay attention to the little thing to make a great value.

When we checked in I thought this hotel was going to be very good as first impressions were great! Staff on check in were very friendly and the entrance/lobby looked very nice. After going up to room I still thought the same as room looked great and beds were nice and comfortable. BUT, now for the 'little' problems.......... I turned TV on and was confronted with static, I rang reception and was told I would need to set TV to HDMI 1, this was not a problem and I managed to sort it with some help over the phone from reception. However, I was not expecting have to do this every time I turned the TV on, what a joke! Air conditioning was very noisy although after second night I got used to it which was just as good as I had 3 more nights! The lift was painfully slow, I have stayed in many hotels across the US and have never spent so much time waiting for lifts! Also for the first couple of days the wifi was pretty useless, I spoke to reception who informed me they had been having problems but it should be sorted out soon, which it was on the third day of our stay. Finally, the coffee available in reception was cold more often than not, I must have tried it fifteen to twenty times during my stay and apart from breakfast when it was hot, it was usually somewhere between warm and cold. Such a shame as this could be a very good hotel if they sorted out these silly little things.

Good value for the area. Nice accommodations. All room entrances inside secure hallway. Not too fancy, not too cheap! Hotel staff very pleasant and professional. Kids loved the pool. Decent restaurants within walking distance.

Maybe for $29-39/night it might be worth all of the inconveniences. Let's see, where to start: the TV doesn't work. Well, it works, but all you get is static. The night clerk was happy to come up and try to fix it, but you couldn't call him because the phone didn't work. Like Wi-Fi? Plan on turning your Wi-Fi off and using your iPhone as a personal hotspot if you want to use your iPad. Oh yeah, no water pressure in the sink faucet. Try shaving with a dribble of luke-warm water. Next? Don't get me started about the smoker's smell, trash left in the wastebasket, etc.

We stayed at this Best Western Plus in Bradenton so we could have breakfast with a friend that lives nearby in the morning and then visit the Siesta Key Rum Distillery. The front desk service was great. We had a wonderful room with clean and comfortable updated accommodations. Great linens, comfortable and abundant pillows, nice bath. We watched a movie late on one of the free movie channels and got a great night's sleep. Nice pool! Coffee available all the time and it was good. Free breakfast and it was serve yourself but it was made fresh and quite good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A well maintained hotel with large rooms, good amenities, good service. Convenient to I-4 at Bradenton, the hotel features a better than average free breakfast, good wifi, clean pool and well appointed lobby. The cost savings for two people having free breakfast makes the price an excellent deal.

Don't do it. Some staff is nice but overall rude and unorganized. AC didn't work, they didn't fix it, did not offer to make things better. Have stayed here before with problems and wanted to give them a second chance. So this stay was confirmed the previous feelings of disappointment and wasted money. Stay somewhere else
