Best Western Hotel Kaiserhof

An excellent hotel and highly recommended. The Deluxe room was spotlessly clean with a lovely comfortable bed and high quality linen. Staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is generous with plenty of choice, delicious coffee or selection of teas. Very convenient location near the station. We will definitely return!

This is not a 4 star hotel. I paid more for the convenience of a 4 star hotel and it was very deceptive. No restaurant on the premises only a small place for breakfast. And when I asked for ice, the lady told me they didn't have ice (no ice? Come on…. a 4 star hotel that doesn't have ice? You must be kidding). Small bedroom with a stinky bathroom. Parking can be a nightmare. Either you park in the streets (good luck with that) or the hotel charges 11 euros for overnight) and the parking is half a block from the hotel (if it's raining be prepared to get all wet since the hotel doesn't provide any service; you carry your own bags). I was very upset because of the misleading: paying and expecting a 4 star and getting much less).

I just recently spent two nights at the Best Western Kaiserhof in Bad Godesberg while doing business in Bonn. It was my second stay in just over 12 months. I really like this property; as mentioned by many reviewers its clean, stylish convenient and reasonably priced. Yes the rooms are typically 'Euro-small' but are well presented and the breakfast, complete with its superior coffee machine, is excellent. The staff are always efficient and helpful and with just a walk across the road to the Bahnhof why stay in more expensive places in Bonn city? And there are numerous restaurants very close by including an excellent Spanish tapas bar, traditional German and Arabic mezze style restaurants. I recommend the property for shortish stays.

Nice hotel and helpful guys who r working here. Clean bathrooms but bedsheets are not clean as bathrooms. Really close to the station. Haribo factory is only 1 station away from hotel. Very nice and big park close to hotel, it takes only 5 min by walk. Really nice breakfast I recommend. Wifi is good.

After staying their for 6 days I can say it was a very good experience. The check in and out was very fast and easy. The room I stayed in was small but it was just what I needed. They had the same breakfast everyday which was boring specially for vegetarians. The neighborhood is full with Arabs so you will find a lot of help in Arabic if you need, and the hotel is near to everything and their is even a mosque near to it.

I traveled for business to Bonn with a group of colleagues. Our company booked us at Best Western Hotel Kaiserhof in Bad Godesberg. I stayed for 4 nights. It is a small hotel but it is very clean. The reception staff pleasantly greeted me, the check in was quick and easy. The elevator to the rooms is tiny but since I was on the second floor I only used it at check in and out. The room was very clean (I even checked under the bed and mattress). The room was simple but it looked recently renovated, had a double bed, small desk, TV, wardrobe and mini bar. The bathroom had a shower, no tub. The hotel serves a complimentary breakfast with a variety of breads, cheeses, meats, marmalade, yogurt etc. They also offered scrambled and hard boiled eggs, teas and coffee. It is conveniently located across from the train station and around the corner of restaurants. I felt safe walking around town in the evening. There is a Rewe supermarket close by and plenty of restaurants. Highly recommend Limao (Brazilian) right around the corner of the hotel and Rest Maternus (German). There is also an gelato place Eiscafe Torri right off Theatrepl. so delicious and well priced. I recommend the Hotel Kaiserhof for couples or individuals, if you are traveling with kids this may not be the right hotel.

This hotel describes itself as having elegant rooms..,the one we had was far from that, it felt like we were in East Germany in the old days. The staff is helpful and buffet breakfast is good. Location is ok as you can walk to city centre however the area where the hotel is has barely anything around of any use for tourists. The place just lacks grace, difficult to put into words. For the price we paid we thought it was ok.

This was actually my third alternative when looking for a hotell, but i don't regret ending up here. It is a small and cosy place with a really nice lady in the reception. The restaurant feels a bit crouded during breakfast but the food is good.

I found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful, even providing me with suggestions and advice in English when I had to let them know that I was going to be running late. The hotel was set in an old building that made it all the more acceptable to me as I preferred the smaller rooms and more homely feel. The room itself was clean, well laid out and with a sizeable bathroom. Breakfast was of the traditional German variety and I only wish that I had had ore time to enjoy it. Situated at the end of the southern line of the Unterbahn it is also a convenient train ride into downtown Bonn for either business or pleasure

This hotel has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Bonn. Is just half block away from the train station and the bus station is one block away. Breakfast is amazing. The size of the bedroom is a little bit small but comfortable enough after a long day at work.

Arrived, only to find that the hotel did not have my booking, this was no fault of the hotel as it was Amoma.com that had failed to book even though I had paid at the time of booking. They had one last room available which I had to take. Unfortunately, this was the smallest room I had ever stayed in, they just about managed to squeeze a bed into the room, but the en-suite bathroom was a good size and clean. Had a view of the back of a local restaurant which was not too pleasant. After a few phone calls to Amoma.com and speaking with various reception staff, the hotel manager decided he would double the room rate to 250 Euro per night (Total 750 Euro) which I had to pay and claim the original booking plus the difference from Amoma.com which to be fair to them, they did pay up eventually. The breakfast staff were rather surly and unhelpful, the buffet selection was a bit sparse and if you prefer a hot breakfast you will be disappointed with hours old scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages under the hot server, unusual for an American Chain of hotels (Best Western). This hotel was worlds apart from the excellent Premier Park Consul Best Western in Cologne where I stay regularly on Business, I stayed the previous four nights for 68 Euro per night !! All in all, I will not be returning to the Hotel Kaiserhof any time soon.

The hotel is very nice and very clear, the rooms are big and beautiful....but the breakfast must be improved. For an hotel of this level there should be more choice. The hotel is close to the center and the buses are around the corner

I am writing this review on the behalf of my parents who stayed in this hotel in may 2017. Just want to let other travelers know that if they pick this hotel, they wont have a pleasent vacation at all... First of all the hotel stuff (reception),was very unprofessional and unpolite to us. They didnt try to solve any of our complaints. We booked this hotel on booking.com and the room was totally opposite of what they claimed to be on the site. The room 402 has only one rooftop window, there is almost no sunlight at all. Beds were very uncomfortable. It was very hot in the room and the aircon gave us problems (it didnt work). Wifi was not working at all in the room. All in all - COMPLETE DISASTER. I DONT recommend to anyone visiting this hotel.

Stayed here for one night. It is an adorable little place not far from a park. The rooms were clean and looked newly remodeled. Although there was a slight musty smell. Breakfast was a wonderful selection! There is not a lift. There is a parkhaus not far for guests as well. Highly recommend staying.

The hotel is in Bonn Alt Godesberg. This is about 5km outside of the city center of Bonn. Alt Godesberg is a nice quite town with a nice center. The hotel is clean and quite. The hotel has indoor parking, but it is charged separately (does not come with the room), On the other hand the hotel has excellent Free Wifi I stayed two days for business and found the hotel very comfortable. Especially the bed is of very good quality.

Sweet hotel, located in a nice quiet area of Bonn but close enough to the centre, easy walk to the Rhein, large and clean rooms, good breakfast. Only positive things to say, great place for a business traveler.

I had to re visit Bonn having stayed at a different hotel and needed a change. I searched around for a few days asked a couple of hotels to give me a rate for the long stay. I decided to go with the Kaiserhof and did not regret the decision. The room was big enough, the aircon, shower, tv, fridge, safe all worked as they should. The decor in the room was fine, not over the top as can be the case. All reception staff that I had any interaction with were friendly and helpful. All in all I felt at home for the entire stay. You should consider This as a real option if visiting Bonn. The hotel is close to the local train station, and Bonn is a 5 min ride away. I would also say that Bad Godesberg is not a bad spot to be in its own right.

Booked the hotel on bookings.com website. It was advertised as 4-star hotel. Lobby area was run down and unclean. The room was very small. The radiator was broken and would not switch off. My stay was in June with outside temperature of 24 Celcius! The room was like an oven- intolerably hot. The pillow was filthy with strands of hair stuck on it (see photo). The bed sheet and pillow case were not changed overnight. No new towels provided the next day. I spoke with the receptionist regarding the radiator and he said there was nothing he could do about it. Very unhelpful. Overall appaling experience. Never staying there again.

Excellent Hotel to go! I was in the hotel for two nights only but I enjoyed. The hotel staff are very polite and helpful. The breakfast was great...you have so many food to choose that I can describe only with "WOW". My bedroom was exellent, big and clean with big windows so you can watch the park from the otherside of the street! The hotel is close to the train station so you can go fast to the center of Bonn.

We had a rental vehicle so the secured parking was an added bonus. However, it was a bit challenging to get into and then get back out of. It was also an additional cost. The rooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable. There was a small step up into the bathroom which stubbed a few toes. However we overall enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Good value and location, but lobby and hallways have strong smell of cigarette smoke (probably from bar next door). Rooms noisy at night (traffic) with windows open. Small rooms are stuffy. Decent breakfast. Modern decor. Very clean.

Visited this hotel numerous times on business and the location to the train station is perfect for accessing Bonn, Cologne and Dusseldorf as well. Good value for money small hotel with the simple things provided and all comforts for a short business trip.

The Kauserhof Best Western Hotel is located three blocks from the center of Bad Godesberg, diagonal to the railway station and in front of the Plaza Ria-Maternus-Platz. Has very comfortable rooms and breakfast is very complete. The personal attention is very good.

I was really happy with our stay at this hotel the staff were very helpful. The room service from the restaurant beside the hotel was amazing and the room was very nice. If I was in Bonn again I would certainly stay here again.

I just spent 6 nights in this place. The hotel is in a central location and really across the street from the train station. My room was up in the attic (4th floor), and it was cute, small and clean. However, my room had a light smell, which is probably related to the heating system. Great value for breakfast and very helpful staff.

So I arrived at the hotel quite late an tired. I had room 305 - not bad, but very cramped due to having too much furniture in it! In the morning I wanted to take a shower but then noticed that the wall is at an angle (since on this floor the outer walls are angled inward). The result being that I could not stand up in the shower and if I did my body would touch the cold wall or the glass barrier. I am shocked that a hotel could make such a room and be proud of it! When I checked out and mentioned that it was not a good room due to the shower, the person in reception told me that I had the opportunity to change the room the night before, but now he could do nothing about it. Now I wonder when did it become my responsibility to survey every aspect of a room before accepting it? I was really annoyed with the attitude I was met with - after all it is not I who turned a broom closet into a double room with a bathroom is it!
