« Don't worth the price you pay »

Is probably the most expensive hotel in Bojnice and don't offer to the customer nothing but basic. The hotel has no swimming pool, no gim, no sauna. The restaurant is supposed to be open till 23.00 in reality close at 20.30 if no customers present at this time. If you arrive at 20.30 they send you to an external restaurant. Quite unprofessional!

    « nice stay »

we stayed for a weekend with my family. It was strange because we were in hotel only few guests. We have a nice big room. Locations is good. Parking in garage cost 8 Euros it is lot but outside wasnt any possibilities. Food was great but in 4 star hotel it was normal standard. Nice and very kind staff. Big problem was internet connectivity it was very poor. I don t understand why because in the hotel was 9 people together. If you have problem with internet please send me a message i have for you a solution.

« Very good hotel with polite & helpfull staff »

We were very satisfied with the hotel, our baby celebrated third birthday during our stay and the hotel staff was very helpful in decorating the table for her & preparing a small cake with candles. Can only recommend as also the room was clean and quiet, comfy bed and the breakfast selection was not that big but tasty so can not complain.

« Great Stay in Fabulous Location »

We had a 4 night stay in this hotel which included a wedding reception here. After reading some previous reviews we were rather worried about how it would go. I am very happy to report that we have enjoyed our stay enormously! The staff have all been extremely accommodating and courteous even with all the extra pressures put on by wedding/reception preparations and lots of family guests. They all worked amazingly hard with a smile to fulfill all requests and produce a wonderful reception with beautifully laid up tables and exquisite food. The rooms are all large and well equipped with the back rooms all having a view over the lovely countryside. The town is just a short walk away along with the castle, zoo and many bars, restaurants and coffee shops. The food in the hotel is great and we all found the buffet breakfast offered lots of tasty alternatives all beautifully displayed ( definitely try the lovely pastries). We would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting this area of Slovakia. Lots of thanks to all the staff!!

    « Not very Dobry »

We found Slovakia to be a warm & welcoming country with friendly people. Sadly that trait did not extend to the Bester Western hotel in Bojnice. On the positive - great location (for us), good size room & clean with free wifi. But that's about as far as it goes. I came away with the impression that the hotel was being run for the benefit of the staff rather than guests who were an inconvienience. On the fiorst night the resturant was closed with out notice as "they had been busy in the day". Piped music was played loudly outside the room untill well gone 2200 and from 0700 the next morning. Breakfast was poor with limited range, a dodgy coffee machine with unsightly tubes going to a milk carton stuck on the side with the scrambled eggs particularly vile which included egg shell. The cost of drinks was high (compared to local prices) and inconsistent - no two rounds of gin and tonic were the same. Cups were not cleaned nor tea replenished on day 2. The "Do not Disturb" sign was ignored twice as the cleaner wanted to clean the room while we qwere preparing to go to a wedding. All the staff (with the exception of the receptionist on checkout) were sullen with one staff member having the annoying habit of staring at us. While there appears to be good disabled access to the building the disabled toilets were behind a seating arrangement and not accessible to anyone. After I took a photo this was removed and replaced by a large planter - progress I guess. We chose this hotel due to the location and thought it would come with the Best Western quality standard - were were dissapointed. Not at all happy. I have taken this up directly with Best Western, lets see how they respond.

« Clean, neat & well-run hotel close to the castle »

The hotel has a great location for visiting the Bojnice castle and the Zoo. Both main attractions are within easy walking distance, but the Hotel is off the main tourist drag. However many restaurants, bars and cafes are very close by, on the main square leading to the castle. We stayed in a deluxe room - which meant a larger double room with a sofa bed. The room was clean and spacious, the windows faced the back garden and the restaurant terrace. The bed was comfortable, however the pillows were enormous and not very easy to sleep on. The service was friendly, helpful and fairly professional. We speak Slovak, so can't comment on how fluent their English is. The breakfast was adequate, if simple. The danish pastries was especially lovely. There is limited parking on the side of the hotel or you can take advantage of the underground parking. In the evening the back terrace / garden was a very nice place to spend time and relax. They have a good local wine list, and can even mix a decent Moscow Mule!

    « Beautiful hotel »

Beautiful hotel close to the centre of Bojnice and the Bojnice castle, zoo and garden. Friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms and lovely surroundings. The hotel has its own little garden in the backyard and a restaurant on the ground floor. I have visited this hotel many times and have enjoyed every single stay :)

« Nice Accommodation, Poor Customer Service »

We stayed in a family suit, which was really nice but was located right next to the smoking area, which means we had to keep the windows shut. There was also a music speaker right outside our room, and when I asked them to turn off the music at 9 pm so that my kids could go to sleep, the young man at the reception responded, "well, it is only 9, but whatever." Of course, the music started playing again at 9 am, so you can forget about sleeping in. We were only give 1 roll of toilet paper at a time, despite the fact that there were 5 of us in the suit and only one toilet. And the paper was not replaced on a daily basis, so we had to go to the reception to request more toilet paper. The receptionist gave us free drink coupons upon arrival, but they were only good for beer or wine, which meant the kids were out of luck. When we asked the receptionist about a spa, she gave us a brochure for a place that we later found out has been out of business for over a year. And when we told her the next day that the place is out of business, she didn't bother to remove the pamphlets from the reception. The waitresses at the complimentary breakfast were generally young and friendly, but clueless and could not efficiently respond to the easiest requests. And to top it off, it was my wife's birthday, so the reception was nice enough to deliver a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine to our room, but the bottle was warm and came with no glasses. All in all, a nice hotel, but the service was sub-par at best. The independent owner should better train his employees in the art of customer service.

    « Comfortable hotel »

I needed a comfortable hotel for one night before visiting Aerospool in Prievidza. It doesn't look much from the outside, but don't worry, it's good. I eventually worked out where the hotel's parking place was. (It's just at the side.) The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was closed, but I was directed to two good restaurants only a few metres away. I ate at the Biograpf which was good. The other is Musika. Breakfast was copious.

« We had a great family apartment for a good price »

We managed to book a family apartment at a very discounted last-minute price. And the apartment we had was simply great. Large, spacious, living room, large main bedroom, additional room (bunk bed - not an issue for us, however, it is good to know) and a nice bathroom. Everything felt clean or brand new. Breakfast was honestly not that special but reasonable. On the last day as the hotel was almost empty, only cold food was served in a buffet and hot meals were available for order. I prefer this way of serving breakfast when its quiet much better than having a sad buffet with the obvious scrambled eggs. What this hotel lacks are additional services - it gives you great room, acceptable breakfast and... and that's it. There is no wellness, massage service, fitness, sauna, nothing. Also the restaurant closes quite early (however this was compensated for us and the food was delivered to our room). Despite how they describe themselves they are not barrier free (to get to our room, you had to walk 3 steps - not a big issue but an inconvenience given we had a pram). Overall - a very nice stay.

    « Excellent hotel »

We spent one night here because we were visiting the nearby castle, which is a short walk away. The hotel exceeded my expectations - it was clean and spacious with a nice outlook. The breakfast was good and we ate dinner there, which was also very nice. The staff were very friendly. I had read that the parking could be difficult as there are only 4 hotel spots and this is true. We were lucky and got the last spot, but the hotel was very quiet because it was in between seasons, so I don't know where else there would be to park in a busy time?

    « Exceeded expectations »

What a delight - maybe my expectation wasn't so great - but this was a wonderful hotel. Very efficient staff, modern/fresh décor, great breakfast. Didn't use the restaurant in the evenings as Bojnice has an unbelievable array of excellent restaurants.

    « Must stay here ... »

Best Western Plus Hotel Belassi at Bojnice, Slovakia was great, its conveniently located in the town of Bojnice. It is walking distance to Bojnice Castle, Zoo, food places (checkout BioGraf, Muzika, Square) and the Church. Its also about a 1 to 2 km walk to the neighbouring town. There is a convenience store just 2 mins away (to stock up on water, etc.) from the hotel. Parking can be a challenge, so check with the hotel if you are driving. The Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, and the staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean and the double bed comes with 2 duvets so no fighting for the duvet at night. Brilliant. Should you need a late check out, the Hotel is accommodating as long as the room has not been booked by someone else on the day of your check-out. All in all, I would highly recommend a stay at Best Western.

We stayed 3 nights as attended a wedding at the castle. Lovely hotel and staff. Great location and good breakfast variety. There was a water cut in our room so had to change on the second night but we got upgraded so cannot complain. There is a lovely outdoors area and garden at the back.

    « Great little hotel »

This hotel maybe small but the staff were so friendly. Hotel room was small but very comfortable and quiet. Didn't like the breakfast but it wasn't to my taste. Bojnice was also very surprising, friendly people good bars and quite picturesque in places.

« nice and clean hotel »

My husband and me were at this hotel for 3 nights. We love Bojnice because of clear nature, relax and a beautiful Bojnice castle. Hotel Belassi was very nice, stuff very friendly, prices normal, meals delicious. Rooms were very nice and clean. We had on the bed some kind of amazing quilt with a hole... We saw it for the first time! :) Very good quilt we slept comfortably and we didn't sweat if there were 30 degree and more outside at night.. We will come back in future too
