The hotel is very interesting. You arrive and you need to go up a one way escalator and hope there is not a lot of people looking to come down! Check-In was not complicated. The room was lovely and comfortable. I was impressed how little I heard from outside and I got a good night's sleep. I was really impressed at being able to get an adapter plug that was able to fit into the socket from the receptionist. I paid for the breakfast €20 and while there is a good variety, coffee is definitely a miss. It either came out empty, cold or tasted terrible. If you like good coffee like me, it is best to stick to the Expresso! Another thing was getting an early morning knock on the door asking me was I checking out. However lady apologized and there seems to have been a misunderstanding. Altogether a good hotel in which to stay in. I would definitely recommend it.

I was scheduled to stay at the Econtel Charlottenburg but as this hotel had been taken over, I was rebooked into the Best Western on Kurfurstendamn. Good job I called in advance as nobody was going to inform me of the change. Though, I was quite excited initially as this promised to be an upgrade from a 3 to a 4 star hotel. Plus the location was more convenient for me. However, despite the location, there were a few items of annoyance about this hotel. Firstly, this is not a 4 star hotel. The cleaning staff knocking on the door at 9am is not what you want to hear. Secondly, the room didn't have a kettle or coffee maker. Thirdly, the air-conditioning system made quite a racket. Finally, and most importantly, the front desk staff were far from helpful and definitely suffered from an attitude problem. It just seemed as if they considered themselves above their job and that guests were more of a nuisance than anything else. Other reviewers have mentioned these things as well so it's definitely not just me. The Spanish restaurant connected to this hotel is solid with excellent food and very helpful staff. Maybe I will return to Berlin someday but doubtful I will stay at this hotel.

The best western was in the perfect location in Kudamm with shops and restaurants. Staff were very good and accommodating. We were thanked for being select members. Internet was reliable. Gym is also good they have breakfast available for a price.

The hotel situated close t S-barn station, 5-6 minutes on foot. S9 train is straight from BER airport to Savignyplatz station near the hotel. It is close to Zoo, Bundestag, museums etc. There are a lot of restaurants and boutiques around. The room is not very big but clean and looks newly renovated. Staff are polite and useful.

I traveled to Berlin with my wife for a weekend and also to run a half-marathon. We were quite happy with the stay at the Best Western - optimal location and modern rooms that were clean. The breakfast was quite pleasant. Would be happy to stay there again!

Nice hotel in Kudam, 2 min from the subway station. The room was nice and silent, too bad for the carpet on the floor. The bathroom is quiet small and with not a lot of amenities, however price and locations were ok. Breakfast was inclueded and ok, however i wouldnt reccomend spending 17€ to add it if it's not includes in your fair

Good services, very nice rooms, good internet, parking facility. The personnel was very nice, willing to help at any time. Very good location, quiet over the night. We used also the on-line check-in, which make your accommodation even more comfortable,

I had a wonderful time and in this current climate we live in I would highly recomment this hotel to anyone. It is in a perfect location and I felt safe and comfortable being a visitor their walking in locale. The food, enviroment and sceneries in the surrounding area are excellent.

I booked the hotel for a recent business trip. The hotel is clean and conveniently located, unfortunately the S-Bahn stop is 10min walk away. Booking was made through booking.com, I recommend to book one night through any of the booking platforms. When I wanted to extend for an extra night, they quoted a higher rate and only lowered it, when I mentioned what the platform price was. Space for improvements: - I asked in the morning where to have breakfast - instead of recommending their own breakfast they suggested a take away bakery 10min walk away. - Cleaning the showers has to be more thorough - mold in the corners of the shower

Family room was large and beds and pillows were fantastic. Internet worked well. Would be nice to have a fridge or ice machines. Across the street is a Netto supermarket and the bus stop for 109 that takes you straight to Tegel airport. The Wilhelm church is down the street. We got around via public transport wand walking and saw the main sites in just a few short day. Very nice staff at hotel. Clean and safe.

Re-visit of good old Berlin 20 years later. Mix of old and new. The old is German, New trying to please who? Best Western stick to known, well proven standards for x-gen. Thanks God. Weekend is too short to get back real taste of Berlin. Berliners !!!! wht happened to good old Imbis, wursts fresh rolls senf und beer. Couple of kebab stands is enough to get sick of it. Don't need millions of them. Imbis come back BITTE. Seem this is only place to say little more about staff in reception. Young people competent, well wersed in Edglish, friendly, well informed. In short right people in right place. German stuff, alles in ordnung. We will be back for more in spring. Best of luck to all form Aussies

Best Western Plus Plaza Berlin Kurfurstendamm rated a four star hotel. The only thing it has going for it is the location. It is situated in a street with shops and plenty of places to eat. Close to bus stops and the underground. Our room was not available on arrival. The room layout was small. The double bed had two single duvets then in another area was a double wardrobe with a single glass sliding door and opposite was the wash basin situated outside the toilet and shower room. Overall, Very Drab. What the brouchers don't tell you is that there is a construction site next door. We had a great view of this from our room and the work was not too annoying as the building noise acted as our alarm clock at 7am. This hotel should be rated as a Two Star. Even so, we enjoyed the sights of Berlin.

The hotel is situated in well connected area of Berlin and in a street with shops, restaurants and coffee places, at walking distance to the ubhan and sbhan. The personnel is very kind and professional. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean. We did not have breakfast there since it was too expansive. I would go there again.

Very comfortable and clean with friendly staff and excellent position in beautiful shopping street near metro (u-bahn) station and near one of the main city hub rail station Zoologischer Garten Bahnhof .

I felt the hotel room was a little dated, although very spacious room the bathroom was small. Water and tea/coffee for you to make in the room. The bar was closed upstairs but I popped down to the restaurant to buy a drink and being back to my room. Nice, friendly staff. Berlin is expensive so it's an affordable option.

We were very grateful for the front desk staff who took the trouble to call us in the room to inform us when we left some important documents near the front desk during the process of checking in. The staff also were helpful in holding our luggage since we arrived early and we would like to go visit some places first before coming back to the hotel. The room was good. We had a great rest after a day occupied with many activities. The location is just 'superb' as someone else commented for transportation to the airport and train stations. Very accessible and yet reasonably priced area in Berlin.

Arrived 12th August 2019 and left 14th August 2019. The total stay was very pleasant. The only downside was the building works next door,but this did not stop me having a goog experience. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast had a good selections of choices and the waitresses were pleasant. The hotel is in a good location and transport is not far to walk to. I would definately stay there again.

Hotel right at Kurfustendamm. Room size is OK, beds are pretty good and airco works well with these high temperatures. Shower is rarther small. Next to the hotel there is a construction site but no noise at all. Good value for money

Nice clean efficient hotel. Location superb for amenities and local transport to airport, railway station and connections. Be aware that there are substancial building works happening next door which start at 7am - if this bothers you - please be sure to ask for a quiet room!

Hotel is in a great location for seeing and accessing central Berlin. Lots of designer shops and good restaurants and bars. The hotel staff were friendly. Rooms are clean though the corridors do smell at bit odd. One thing the hotel didn't inform us of was there is a big construction site on both sides of the hotel, so at 7.in the morning the building works start to wake you up.

This hotel has lovely kerb appeal, outside seating area and adjoining restaurant. Reception staff friendly and professional, although it took some time for the receptionist to locate our booking on the system. We stayed on the 5th floor, accessible by lift. There is a strong smell of drains in the hallways/lift lobby but once in the room you don't smell it. The room was average size, nice decor and clean. Bed was quite high for me (5ft 3) but manageable and really comfy. Duvet appeared thin but I was actually really warm during the night. Room has small wardrobe with hangers, full size mirror, safe (free to use)and tv, kettle with tea/coffee, 1x bottled water, en suite shower room. Shower/toilet clean. Shower cap, ear bud cleaner and some cotton wool pads complimentary and shower gel/hand soap free. Fresh towels daily. There is a vending machine in the lobby which sells wine/beer, snacks and soft drinks.

Me and My Friends visit Berlin town. We stayed at nice hotel in Kurfürstendamm. Breakfast had a lot to offer. You could eat of different things as egg; scrambled, boiled or fried. Different fruits, bread, yoghurt, coffe, the or juice.

We stayed at this hotel a family of four, we got a family room with two rooms connected with a door between. Hence we had two double beds and two bathrooms. It was very spacious! The breakfast was also good. The bus to the airport stopped just outside the hotel. There are many nice restaurants nearby. We were very happy with our stay!

We stayed for one weekend. Checkin was easy, service kind and we had our lugage stored at arrival as well as on departure. Good service. We got a very nice room. Bed was surprisingly good, and so was the pillows, big and supportive. Bath and toilet just as it should be. Zink outside bathroom....free coffee and tea and a boiler, no fridge. Breakfast is not bad at all, but we both had some old/dry rolls both days. Otherwise breakfast was fine. If you as you can have fried egs, instead of the scrambled. Throughout our stay staff was kind. Lots of plugs for all your devices, and free and fast wifi.

The hotel is very well located on the Kurfuerstendamm street, near several subway and bus stations, with easy access to airport and touristic sites. The room was nice and clean. What i did not like it is that they only have twin beds in the double rooms. Also, more light in the room would have been appreciated.

Bus 109 from Tegel stops nearby. Underground closeby. It's like staying on Oxford Street. Many many shops along this street. Lidl and dm close. Hotel staff courteous. Room very clean, bed super comfy and pillows just perfect. Lack of variety at breakfast was the only disappointment. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend.

Sometimes they forget to replace all the towels left on bathroom floor (i.e. you leave 4 towels, then you find 2 clean new ones). Dust remains on surfaces even after the cleaning. In 4 days they never replaced the blankets.

We recently spent 3 nights here while visiting the Christmas Markets. Would definitely recommend it. The room was very comfortable. Not very big but that didn't matter as we were only sleeping in it. It had a separate shower cubicle and sink. The beds were very comfortable and the room wasn't too warm. We had breakfast every morning which was very good. There was a good choice of hot food with big mugs for a good cup of tea! Didn't have much interaction with staff but had no problems with anyone. The rooms were cleaned early. Considering it was on the main street it wasn't too noisy a little bit of traffic noise and the odd police siren but we still slept very well. The hotel is within walking distance of buses and subways and a Christmas Market which we visited a few times and had the odd glass of gluwein and bratwurst!

It was that all the rooms are themed and they put me in the Montreal one, I feel I am close to home. The room is large enough and the bed is very comfortable, I have a large window overlooking Kurfustermdam in the centre of Berlin. Unlike American and Canadian hotels there is no fridgeIn the land of beer it is essential! Parking and breakfast is an extra expense everyday you are here, eg $500.00 CAD for parking for 25 days and breakfast in the hotel is more expensive. Close to the underground around 300 meters and there is tons of entertaining and shops within walking distance.

I stayed at the Best Western in November for a weekend. And absolutely liked it! I will definitely come back! It's located so perfectly in the heart of Berlin directly on the Kurfuerstendamm but it's not loud or noisy at all. To get there by public transport is so easy and takes only 5 mins by the S-Train and a few mins by foot. I liked the friendly staff at the reception they were very helpful. The room was spacious and spotless with the most comfortable bed in long time.

We stayed here on a 4 night break. Great location. Close to train station , tour buses and underground. We stayed on a room only basis which was great. Starbucks around every corner for breakfast and Lidl around the corner for snacks and cheap alcohol for the room!!! We would certainly stay here again

Perfectly adequate hotel - clean, helpful, buffet breakfast. My only problem was that when I got the taxi from the airport the road outside was closed for a car show so I had to walk the last 200 metres or so.

My sisters and I booked a triple room, only to find out the room is tiny and is actually a double room with an extra bed rather than three small beds. However we didn't complain since it was a good value for money. As for the reception staff, they refused to provide us with a luggage scale to take to our room, and insisted that we bring all our luggage to the reception to be weighed! Does not happen in any hotel in the world. Which caused some inconvenience noting that one of the bags was overweight and we kept going back and forth to the room to reallocate some items to other bags. More importantly, reception staff member knew I was coming back for the scale and kept me waiting for 5 minutes until she finished paper work although she could have just reached for it and continued after I was done.

Very nice, clean hotel. Usual facilities in the room except no mini bar or ice. Had to ask every time from reception for more tea/coffee/milk etc for room which I think a bit much for a 4* hotel. Staff at times not appearing too happy with long faces and not always attentive. Didn't have breakfast there. Centrally located near U and S bahn and buses, shops and restaurants.

The hotel is located in a great location. The limited contact with staff was pleasant. Rooms were comfortable and clean, however the room amenities (coffee/tea) was not topped up after each day. Otherwise a great stay.

No mini-bar so no fridge and no cold water!! Would I stay again?? Doubt so.

The hotel is located in the heart of Kurfürstendamm and in walking distance of pretty much everything. The room was very nice and pretty quiet. It also had a fridge so you could keep your beverages cold. Air conditioning worked well which was very appreciated in the warm weather. On the bad side, Wi-Fi was horrible, I measured the speed to less than 0.25 Mbit/s in the evenings. The TV had almost exclusively German channels apart from a few news channels. So if you're not German then consider bringing a book!

I stayed here for 4 nights on business. I highly recommend for business clients! The reception staff were very helpful and very friendly. From patiently pointing out on the map where we were located to U-Bhan etc...also did my printing for me and were very professional and friendly. The room was a good size, comfy beds and pillows. Location, location, location and good value too. The only slight let down was house keeping didnt restock tea & coffee daily. I was also dissapointed by the breakfast buffet. Not a good selection of pasteries or fruit.

Clean, fine and very well located 300m from Uhlandstrasse station with good conections. Friendly staff, good breakfast and an ok'ish Spanis restaurant attached. Large, clean and calm room. Suggest you ask for a rom away from Ku'dam...

First time in Berlin and enjoyed our visit. The hotel is in a great location, rooms are nicely appointed and clean. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the unattentive front desk staff. Unfriendly, unhelpful with basic questions and requests and unorganized. They told me I paid for only 3 nights when we paid for 4 nights. I always keep extra receipts when traveling so I was able to prove I did pay for 4 nights. When they realized their error, there was no apology for the oversight, I was just dismissed. I'm not asking for red carpet treatment but a simple hello or I'm sorry for the inconvenience would do.

As annual ritual it was attending ITB Fair at Messe Berlin . Quite a last minute booking but I managed to get a good room . Great location on the ever popular Kunfursdtam Unique set up as you go one floor up on an escalator to reach the reception. Friendly professional staff but you will need to struggle with your luggage to the room. Room was comfortable. Good bed but I havw no idea why give a single bed duvet on double bed. Makes no sense. Shower was powerful and a good way to start the day. The TV channels was pretty all German and no Sports channels at all. Breakfast was a good spread but avoid peak time since staff tend to get overwhelmed and items run out By and large a good stay .

Stayed at this hotel for three nights to attend a fair at the Messe. It is only 3 stops by train and this was handy. Comfortable and quiet rooms, breakfast was ok and nothing special. A good hotel overall.

I visited the hotel last week. The hotel is convenient but not wow !!! Location is very good and reception is friendly and helpful les so can be said on breakfast which is fair and enough. Rooms are cozy but simple. Also they out sometimes two single beds instead of double one. Not all rooms have tubs. On th eother side price is very cost effective and there are lot of restaurants next to thehotel with 20% disount with a coupon

This hotel has a great location. Rooms average however no bbc or cnn which is not satisfactory in a 4 star hotel. Very poor quality soaps no bottled shampoo. Very expensive breakfast that costs 17 euro that is bad both in selection and quality. I arrived midday and even though the hotel is nearly empty they refused an early check in saying our check in time is 3pm I find this uncommon as in low season a hotel should have no objection for a 12 pm check inn.very low quality matttress and pillows Much better options exist in Berlin

Family trip. Received two connected rooms. Booked in internet - price is in line with hotel stars. Rooms are big, comfortable and clean. Air conditioning is not the best, room was hot also at 18 C. Did not try breakfast as i found it a bit expensive. Parking on public road is expensive. Much better hotel parking. Underground is at walking distance. The location is very good - 3 km of fancy stores.

Location of the hotel is good if you are looking at area with lots of shopping. Some relevant points to highlight: 1) Check in time is 3 pm. If you are early and there is room available, early check in can be available but at extra charge 2) Optional buffet is available at 17 Euros, but would like to highlight there are cafes nearby where you can have breakfast at a much lower rate 3) Rooms are clean and spacious enough. However there may not be a fridge in the room you book, so best to confirm if you need a fridge. 4) There are at least 3 supermarkets within 5 mins walk from the hotel. 5) The Berlin Zoo is within walking distance from the hotel 6) Lots of restaurants within walking distance. However I do find there seem to be a high percentage of Italian restaurants. 7) Metro stop is about 4 mins walk away

+ Great hotel with super location. The rooms are nice and seems new. The beds are High quality and the service is fine. Breakfast is vers good absolut a hotel to use for sightseeing or just pleisure. - The bar could do better.

Location is just great, on a very popular shopping street with historical beautiful buildings. Public transport options, bus and subway are just around the corner. Airport bus' stop is very near. It is a bit far from historical sites but with subway it is easy to access everywhere. You can walk to tiergarten and other sites as well. Rooms are a bit small. Bathroom is small. There is no mini bar in the room. However if you have a coldly stored medicine, reception can help you as they did to us. Every room is decorated as a country. We stayed in Poland room.

Strange entrance with one escalator in one direction, pushing a button will change the direction if you get lucky. I decided to take the old style lift, which is slower than molasses and it seems people on every floor waiting for them, not to mention they are small and only a few people fit in them....then I finally got the the reception. 2 staff at the front desk two in the office playing around and laughing loud. I said hello 3 times, nothing. The two girls were helping one couple, the one came out of the office and I asked if I could check in, he told the one girl to check me in becasue she was basically showing the other staff member how to do her check in of the couple and he could do that. Apparently that did not sit well becasue she was then not nice to me at all, and was constantly stopping the process to talk to the staff (now the same girl AND the guy from the office) and woudl literally stop. After a good 15 minutes I asked them to concentrate on all customers and if the woman needs help that the other guy in the office should come out but that I wont except 3 people trying to figure something out, basically putting the whole hotel on freeze. They understood and gave me my room key. I then got a discount, so that was a nice surprise. The room was fine and the sound level was low, no problems at all.

Room was fine, and comfortable. Location is good. It was OK, but attention to detail was missing. I think the point which summarised why I felt like that was the lift - do you choose 1, E, or K to get to the lobby? A simple word in the lift for international visitors would have been very helpful and saved me trying all 3 before getting to the right one!

Very well located hotel, Uhlandstrasse subway station is few meters away and the 109 bus (which gets you in 30 minutes to Tegel Airport) stops almost in front of the hotel main entrance. Our room was spacious, very clean, modern and quite. The room had no fridge and maybe the storage capacity could be improved but we still had a good TV and a perfectly clean bathroom. Regarding the breakfast, it was more than ok in terms of quality and variety and the staff was always very efficient, helpful and friendly. Maybe you can find better Best Western hotels in Europe, but definitely this one will not dissapoint you.

This ticked all the boxes except for the promised on sight parking, but there was a carpark around the corner, and it was cheaper, so win/win. Our room was spacious and luxurious and being just across the road from the underground made it very convinient for exploring the city

We loved the hotel and it's location. The staff were great and were always ready to help us with anything we needed. Great restaurants and lots of shopping opportunities close by. Subway and bus stations are few steps away. We will definitely go to the same hotel again in our next visit to Berlin

We are very fond of this hotels chain and almost all our Europe visit we stay at one of it. This time in Berlin we were disappointed. The room is big but there is not a bathroom !!! Just a toilet and and a shower and in the room a lavatory separated by a wall to the room. Washing hands or just a cup of water means to disturb your room fellows . There is no fridge in the room and even by charge they cannot provide one. First time in my life I am in a hotel with no fridge in the room. The coffee was on a plate with the water kettle nailed yes nailed to the night table close to bed ! So I put my watch on the coffee pot and the phone on the kettle. Any way the stuff offer the bar on the lobby for cold water so if I was thursty at 2 in the night I have to come to lobby for a glass of water. No thanks. The hotel is well located clean and fair price. But if you have some medicine or any thing else who need a cool storage or you are thursty at night forget about it there are many better options in Berlin .And if there do not forget to empty anything liquid from the coffee corner because you can wakeup all wet in the morning !

Stayed with 2 colleagues for 5 nights. I will start with the positives. Ideally located on a beautiful road full of bars shops and restaurants. Tour bus a few hundred feet away. Great for the tram and public transportation. Rooms of a good size with telly and kettle. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. Negatives Breakfast plentiful but bacon sausages etc cold. Coffee was nice though. The television had limited channels and you've guest it the only English ones where news channels. No ice for the room machine broken all of the 5 days. Cups not washed or glasses properly in the room stains from coffee. If the niggles were sorted out I would stay again.

Amedia is practical, not so far from Zoo part. Next to restaurants, bars, shopping. Easy to go everywhere :) Room are ok, bed super soft. But I didn't sleep that much :) Continental breakfast really good, I will go first for their salmon. Tried to go this year but it was full. Hope you'll enjoy!

The room layout was a bit weird, very narrow room, but on the other side there were windows that made it spacious. The hotel had some difficulties with air conditioning and TV, but they said that it was because of a storm they had in a previous day, obviously the repair works were not so quick then. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet (windows to backyard), clean. Wifi was free. Very close to different public trasportation stops.

Somewhat outdated hotel. Friendly staff but the room is just not OK. Advertised with airconditioning, but today is 29 degrees Celsius and the airconditioning only heats up the room, it doesn't cool down, staff says it's still in wintermodus. Water leaks from shower on the floor. Took 3 requests on separate occassions before I could finally use an iron. I'm very unhappy with my decision to stay here.

Great value for a hotel in a major city. Room really spacious with good bathroom facilities. Bed very comfortable & no room noise even when overlooking main street. Nice view from 6th floor. TV good but English-language channels poor. Only 3 available & they repeat themselves so much you end up turning the whole lot off. Doesn't seem to be any Netflix or Sky or the like if you need to stay in your room longer than usual. (had a cold so stayed in bed first day to try & recover) Would be nice to have in room better coffee & fresh milk (had to ask for milk twice at reception as none at all in room over 3 days on arrival & even after room serviced ( & only got the little airline containers when I asked for some milk). Apart from this pretty good value for money. If Best Western card holder makes it worth while staying here.

New hotel surounded by shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was ample. Rooms were cozy, bit small but space was managed well. Smoking and non smoking rooms are available. And yes they have an escalator ryt in the middle of the entrance. The tour buses start few meters away so you can get to any place and back on the hop on hop off. Staff are friendly and helpful. Had a good stay

Located in heart of main shopping street within easy walking distance of Berlin zoo, bus terminal and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church . Every brand name shop is nearby. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Room was ok and very clean with soundproof windows which were needed as it looked out onto the busy street. Drinks were a bit pricey. We never tried breakfasts as there are many very good restaurants within a few minutes walk from hotel. Would recommend and stay again but because the carpet had several burn and scorch marks as well as one on the wooden desk the hotel should be rated 3 star and not 4 star.

I ve been here for business reasons. A building is old, a little uncomfortable because of old elevators and long corridors, but rooms are perfect and well designed. Nice bathroom and bed. A small surprise - no minibar. But here is everything for comfortable stay.

Stayed here for 4 nights and couldnt find fault with it. Very modern, cosy and clean room, extremely comfy bed and excellent shower. On the main shopping street of Berlin, lots of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. Nearest u bahn very near but we walked about 10 minutes to the zoological garden stop, make sure you pick up a map and a transport map of berlin, both in the hotel reception, transport takes a bit of working out but quite easy really. We caught the train (airport express re7 or rb14 i think from Schonfeld airport straight to the zoological garden) runs every half hour, make sure you get ticket before you get on train and you have to validate it also, cost 3.30 euro for a single ticket (last 2 hours), you need zone abc, takes about 40 mins from airport to the zoo. Booked a walking tour around berlin and sachenhausen concentration camp before we left uk, both excellent, booked through viator.com, if you enjoy high end shopping you couldnt stay anywhere better, also recommend popping for a drink in the Kings pub not far from the hotel, its an experience.

A very comfortable hotel in the area of Charlottenburg, in one of the main streets where the most exclusive shops are and just a few minutes from KaDeWe. Good beds, nice breakfast, I can I only say we were more than happy about the hotel or the staff. The only problem I can find is that the hotel is far away from where all the tourist attractions are. If you are thinking about shopping is perfect tough.

Spent 4 nights here. The hotel is good overall. Nice theme, nice colors, nice rooms, free good coffee in the mornings, location was somewhat good. however, they have the laziest and messiest housekeeping. The bed covers were stained as in the picture left from god knows who and when, HK didnt even bother to pick some of the trash, took a cup to clean I assume but left it in the sink, coffee and tea is never replaced neither the shower kit

Great Value with good location, very easy to get to by bus from Tegel Airport (X9 or 109)..Staff with excellent attitude and caring. The only thing needs improvement is lighting in the room, need to put a stand up light or desk light, can't read anything in the room once it gets dark outside.

Perfect location, hotel is situated on the biggets shopping street in Berlin. Theres a few bars and resturants around, definetly try Ali Babas which is not far away/ The resturant downstairs is brilliant and the food was great quality. Room was clean with Air Con. There was only BBC news as an english channel which was a little fustrating. Its easy to get to and from the airports. The train station is not far away and 2 changes goes to Schönefeld Airport. An uber cost us 39 euro which wasnt that bad either. Breakfast was continental and i have a fair few allergies there was an ok amount i could eat but after 3 days of just cheese toast and salami it would be nice to have an alternative that wasnt an apple. Would return!

Thr whole hotel is OK for it's price, but there are two problems. Noisy climat system and Wifi. The speed is OK, but sometimes (very often) it constantly turns out and then on and then out and so on. In 1 ninute it can be several times. That's awful. Other is OK, great locatin near to the U-bahn station on a central street

this hotel gave us a very good servicein all our needs. the location is great. we were tow adults and a girl in the room and it was comfortable. there is a bar near the lobby that gave us nice service.

This is a very good hotel with excellent location. Rooms are clean, and rooms facing the yard are quiet. However, the staff looks in general bothered by your presence, and the "hearty" breakfast is below average of the price level in both quality and selection. I got last minute deal for a decent price, but next time I will look elsewhere.

I can't fault this hotel. Good clean and great location. It has a good breakfast , my room was large with all that I needed. The staff were helpful and friendly and there is a nice restaurant just next door

If you are looking to being close to some main stream tourist attraction and Kurfürstendamm this hotel is well situated. And it has plenty of public transportation in front of the door. It's of course not in the more hip neighborhood (Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg etc.). There are cafes, nice restaurants and small stores in the area but it's rather a charmless area. The hotel as such is solid. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern, everything works and is clean. Elevator is very slow and has difficulties handling the traffic during the busy hours. Did not try breakfast.

Hotel is conviniently located just a few minutes from the nearest U-bahn station on the busiest (and most expensive) shopping street in Berlin. The taxi from Tegel costs about 25€. The staff members I met were all really nice and helpful. The safe was locked when we got our room but they managed to open it pretty quickly. The junior suite was really spaceful for three persons to stay in and it was clean. And it was cleaned when we wanted and they left clean towels to the door when we had the do not disturb sign on. Even the wifi was working pretty well. The escalators in the lobby were a bit difficult to use, we only managed to turn them once going our way. But all in all, I would stay here again.

Hm Every room seems to have connecting doors between the rooms. It is not very soundproof... I stayed here twice in one month and also when you look at the floorplan you can see doors between the rooms. And that's too bad because this hotel is very nice, nice rooms, good location and nice staff. Breakfast cost 17 EUR but every sign has the price 15 EUR, maybe time to implement the raise ? Breakfast was good, but actually a bit overpriced I would say. For that cost you expect a lot more than it was, like fresh bread and not bake off rolls, fresh fruit and yogurt that's not pored in to a bowl that is always empty... Would I stay here again ? Hm No, because you can hear everything that is said in the other room and you can not sleep until they turn of the TV or stop making " noise "...

This hotel wants extra payment to give you your room 1,5 hour in front of theire official checkintime (15:00). Kurfürstendam is a really noisy road and our room was placed on the "wrong" side. The bathroom was split with the toilet and shower in a room, while the washbasin was inside the main room. Din't work for us.

A clean and quiet hotel nestled in a more upmarket part of the city of Berlin. I used the hotel, with some friends, as a base from which to tour and get to know the city. Found for an excellent price, the hotel was an excellent place to stay for the short while we were there. A very comfortable hotel, with friendly staff, who speak fluent English and are comfortable to do so. Excellent transport links, being a very short train ride to Berlin Central, and not far from the lovely Tiergarten and Berlin Zoo! The area was quiet and safe, given the nature of the area, being more upmarket. If I had to find something to mention in criticism, the only two things that spring to mind would be the very pricey breakfast (it's relatively easy to pick up a small breakfast at most stations - coffee and a pretzel was normally enough!) and the late check-in time of 15:00. Otherwise, would have to say that it was a very pleasant stay! Much recommended!

The hotel is actually well located and the rooms much better than expected! They are pretty new, with loads of details as no complaints at all about the building! Just as an appointment I would say that they had a late check in, we arrive at 13:30 pm and we been told to come back at 16 to check in, no one inform as when we should do the check out and we leave at 13:00 pm and we been charge 10€ extra for late check out!!! We been advice by one girl on the room that we were late and we leave 1 min later!! Nicole a bit rude on the reception, shame....

Hotel was clean and the staff were courteous. Rooms are modern and themed tropical. Breakfast is expensive as an add on. There is a Dunkin Donuts and a good breakfast option within a 5 min walk. There is a bar next door with sidewalk seating.

This is a very simple hotel with clean rooms and good location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The best thing abot this hotel is its location. It is in the middle of Kurfuerstendamm where there are many shops and restaurants. It is also 5 minutes walk to the metro station.

Very nice contemporary decor! The idea of having the sink (VERY RED, by the way!) outside the bathroom is really interesting. Nice concierge, good amenities! During my stay my sister also visited, and on a certain day the fire alarm sounded, all guest had to leave their rooms and go down the stairs. Fortunately it was a false alarm, no fire detected in the hotel. Staff was very helpful!

I stayed in this hotel for three days in June. It was a bit disappointing that the check in was only at 3pm but location is perfect, with nice cafes and restaurants around, so it wasn't a problem to wait couple of hours. Transport connection with other parts of Berlin was very convenient. Rooms were clean with modern design, with tea/coffee in the room, breakfast was also good, but I preferred to go out to neighbourhood cafes and eat there cheaper and healthier food. Service at reception was a bit slow. Wi-fi wasn't working properly and with a password you can connect only one device at a time. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a short stay for shopping or business trip.

The check in was only at 15:00. Bed sheets are not changed and when we asked in reception they told us it's only once in 3 days. We stayed only 3 days which means we have not received fresh sheets! Tea bags are not added. No toilet suppliers. No Gels and shower bath! Tea bags and coffee wasn't added or changed. Wifi didn't work for whole day with no idea when they could turn it on. Cleaning is done only around 4 PM. No refrigerator and water pan inside the room instead of bathroom! In one word not even 2 stars hotel! The service from personnel is worse than in any hostel!

City centre location in the heart of the fashionable Ku'damm . Modern rooms with all the necessary creature comforts. do not expect a mini bar but very comfortable rooms and clean. Uhrlandsteasse U Bahn and Savignyplatz S bahn very close for great connections to all parts of Berlin. Great price.

This is situated slightly out of the centre but very close to an underground station and a bus station with great access to the centre. The rooms are big though the bathrooms are tiny but all very clean. The service was good allowing us to check in early on Sunday although 2pm wasn't that early!! Would recommend

Traveled solo, and this hotel was a perfect fit for my itinerary. Excellent location for catching the tour bus. It was actually at the first stop for the City Circle Tour. There were plenty of restaurants to eat at. The parking was limited and I paid extra, about 20 dollars a day, but it was worth it. The breakfast was good and the room was perfect. Not knowing any German the front desk people were more than helpful. The elevator was very small, but solo was no problem. Would stay there again if I were to visit again. The Wi-Fi was free, but limited usage. You would have to pay if you went over your limit, but I didn't.

Nice hotel in the very center of Western Berlin with excellent connections to the Tegel airport by bus running opposite the street. Sound proof room although by the Kudamm. Washing basin outside the bath was somewhat annoing.

stayed here in early may for three nights ,first impressions are of a very clean and modernly styled hotel.however the staff let an other wise enjoyable short break down.the receptionists seemed to be more interested in the computer than guests,on a few occasions we were left waiting for long periods for service.also small change and cosmetic products went missing, they then returned the next day under the bed when complained about.the hotel is very well situated in the kudamm, plenty of bars shops resteraunts, and is served by an excellent transport system .will definatley go back to berlin,but not at the best western

If there's a place I like to go back time and again it's the Amedia on Ku'damm. Great rooms, great facilities, very helpful staff, but most important is the prime location - close to all tourist attractions, either by foot or by public transport. Breakfast is excellent - a lot of choice and great value for money, with very friendly staff members (especially Frau Eickhoff). The next door restaurant, El Dorado, has great food and a great atmosphere to finish the day with. Not pricy and good sized meals for everyone to enjoy! All in all, I truly recommend this hotel!

This Hotel is in a walking distance of the Zoo and the KaDeWe. Good access to public transport. (day ticket 7 Euro). If you like the standards of Best Western you will be absolutely satisfied. Check for special rates.

Hotel in a very convenient location on the Ku'damm near several attractions - Zoo etc. priced well especially for the location and ate at a good steak house on the premises but run separately I believe. Wifi worked well, bar reasonably priced as well. Rooms clean and shower worked well. U-bahn and bus to Tegel airport close by.

Right on Ku`damm, very near the underground station Uhlandstrasse. Modern hotel, clean rooms and nice design. Very comfortable beds. Not many extra facilities, suitable for those who want to visit a lot and not spend time on hotel premises. Breakfast - the food was ok, a fair choice of products, but they weren't replacing immediately when something was finished. Staff not so friendly and eager to help.

Hotel located close stasiun bus and zoo. Surrounding with stores and night life. Room is small. Lobby in second floor closed by business centre and restaurant. Only a few staff hotel can speak english.

I was in this hotel for to celebrate new year fest with my friends. It has all the basic we need in a hotel. Very clean and heater works very good. Location is in one of the biggest and famous street in Berlin which is near famous Boutiques and very excellent Restaurants. Car Parks available with fee. I did not tried food in hotel ,so I can not evaluate it. I would come next time if my goal is to sleep in clean hotel with good location and car parks. There are no more activities inside the hotel. As Best Western member ,I am well satisfied from the extra service for the BW membership-holders.

Room was small, almost to a point where there is no walking floor space, bathroom was fine, and atmosphere was okay. Only needed it for the night and I slept just fine there. No particular noise to remark upon.

The location is great, and I stay here regularly as it is close to my office. Rooms are spacious, with basic amenities. It is also always very clean. I stayed last week during the snow and there were some issues with the heating not being on during the day, however by the end of the week the rooms had heated up. Very limited food options, but there are many restaurants near by. However when travelling alone for business, sometimes it is nice to stay in the hotel if possible.

The staff at arrival was unfriendly. Rooms were average and Wi-Fi was a disaster. Expensive but this was because of new years eve. Location is good. I wouldnt recommend it, there are better best western hotels.

The hotel itself is well situated in Berlin and is clean and comfortable. The front of house staff however were nothing short of rude, abrupt and generally unhelpful. We were early for check in and therefore presumed our rooms were not ready only to be told they were but at an extra charge of €25 each if we wanted them now. Staff at the bar for some reason presumed when a round of drinks were bought approx €16-€17 that they could automatically pocket the change.

Liked it a lot. Ideal location for exploring the city, very convenient for subway and overground trains. Staff were excellent and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was substantial (we only selected it since we were given it for free, otherwise at 15 € it seems overpriced if you dont eat very much. Much better to nip out and get something at one of the many cafes nearby) the only "issue" was the room service didnt seem up to the otherwise excellent standard. We stayed for three nights, but they didnt empty the bins, replenish the tea or coffee, or replace the empty water bottle. In fact, apart from folding the duvet, not really sure what they did. It's a minor point though, over all this hotel was great

The hotel is located on the main shopping street of Berlin. The location is great. The hotel itself is very basic. No frills. The buffet breakfast was basic but sufficient. One major problem was that there was a stink of dampness in the corridors of the hotel. We complained about it to the hotel staff but they had no satisfactory solution or answer.

Hotel in the center of Berlin, really good location to U-tube/center/train station . Nice room. Breakfast OK. But avoid room 416 , internet not working.... Tell Trip advisor that they are upsetting me with at leat 200 caractères.

Located at western downtonw, at the fanciest steet of Berlin, Best Western offers good service and price. You can also find good restaurants nearby. Recommended. We used Booking.com and had no problems with the reservation.

Great location in a nice part of the city. Room was good, no noise from within the hotel but there is a little traffic noise from the road below. Staff helpful and friendly. We did not have breakfast or use the bar. Plenty of eating places in the neighbourhood.

This is a nice hotel, with a very good location, Friendly staff. Breakfast is good and the rooms is comfortable. The hotel is at Kurfurstendamm just beside "story of Berlin", which is a museum that tells Berlins history.

The location is good for shopping and restaurants can be found easily. The room is comfortable. However, the noise from housekeeping in the morning is annoying and the door of the elevator is a trouble for visitors who carry a bulky suitcase.

An AMAZING experience; I stayed at Amedia Berlin last year for the 25th Anniversary of the Wall, and it was an excellent choice. Impressive building in one of the most important street of the town, with the underground stop at just few steps; I was given an internally connected rooms for me and my friend and it was totally worth it. A special Thanks at the Staff at the Front Desk who was very helpful and kind, I highly recommend BW Plus Amedia Berlin if you wish to have a brilliant stay and enjoying an OUTSTANDING place like Berlin.

I attended a conference taking place at the Cube and the location as perfect. The upside as the location. Public transportation was available to just about everywhere. The hotel is located literally in the middle of the best area in Charlottenburg- Kudam in this part is more quiet, more green and very pleasant. If you like shopping and fine dining - this is where to be. The theatre and the Musum of the History of Berlin are one building away from the hotel. The area is very safe day and night. The he hotel is oddly constructed: As you enter the building there are moving stairs that take you one floor up to the reception. These same stairs are also supposed to take you back down to street level. You are expected to wait till they reverse direction which is rather annoying. Alternatively you could take the elevators (there are two) - but they are quite slow and can accomodate no more than 4 people together. There is no bath. I requested an iron twice and never recieved one.

The reception mad my holiday in the hotel bad. We didn't got any information about the hotel or the sightseeing. The receptioniste was half- sleeping there. It was like she wanted to kill herself. Maybe it's better to put people who are highly motivated. Bartender, the fat guy, who did the night, was a mess. He doesn't fit there at all. He let me wait more then an half hour for a beer and he is so rude Location is good and rooms are clean. But hotelstaff are uninterested and not helpfull.

Every time I come to Germany I stay in different hotels just for a change. As part of my stay in Germany in May, I stayed at this hotel too. The staff were generally helpful in giving me advice on where to go and what to do in Berlin. They also offer you a temporary gym membership car entitling you to use a gym only 300 meters away with a 50% discount, which was helpful in that you did not need a subscription to use that gym and can have a daily pass with a 50% discount. My room had a red theme; nice contemporary settings, very clean and new looking, spacious and , although my room overlooked Ku'damm's busy road, the double glazing was very efficient and I didn't hear any noise even during the day time. The room was air-conditioned, quite a powerful air-conditioning system making the room chilled during the hot weather of May/June; the weather was not that hot outside during my stay, but I always like low temperature indoors, so the powerful air-conditioning system of the hotel suited me most. The hotel is also located in a park of Ku'damm where bars and restaurants are only a few minutes away with two big supermarkets just round the corner. As for public transport, the hotel is about 10 minutes walk to U-Bahn.

The hotel is perfectly located in Kurfürstendamm street where all the popular shopping stores/centers are located. It is close to bus, metro and taxi stops. Upon checking in, the lady at the reception advised us that due to "no-show" (which was not really the case as the check out time had not yet passed) they have cancelled our booking which we processed through Booking.com. They did however provide us with a different room, but we had to wait until 3:00 pm the next day to check in. Convenient. Good value for money. However the staff, with the exception of one very helpful gentleman, could be a lot more helpful and friendly.

Not a bad hotel, I'll summarise the main pros and cons of the Best Western Amedia in my opinion... Pros: - location is great, ku-damm is glamorous and known as "little london" to the locals. Lots of shops I couldn't afford to shop in! However quite far from the clubs, if that's what you're after (we spent about €20 for a taxi to find more lively nightlife) - friendly staff, brought iron and ironing board to our room - room was clean, new towels and bed sheets every day - wifi was fine when we stayed Cons: - they are very strict about checking in at 3pm, no chance of early check in so we had to wait a few hours - breakfast very expensive at 15 euros - our room was TINY! We nearly hit the bed when we opened the door to enter the room! Room 305. And the curtains were so awkward to close and open we almost broke them. - no shampoo provided. - not double glazed windows so when the staff were tipping empty bottles into the bins outside, it woke us up. Likewise when the church bells were ringing, even when people were locking their cars... Very noisy! - no mini fridge in room. This was definitely a major minus point for us. - more a taste issue, not really a con, but as people have already said the artwork in he lobby is borderline inappropriate in how sexual it is and combined with the red leather seating the hotel feels a bit tacky! But that's just my opinion. Overall an OK hotel and staff seem friendly.
