    « Noisy! »

We had a lot of issues here so can`t recommend it. Very noisy AC and lots of noise from dispensing machines outside which kept up a steady drone. There was also a train, Need i say more! Very slippery bath and i nearly fell, very dangerous. Also a very annoying woman at breakfast who meant well but most people prefer to be left to choose their own food!

    « What a great experience »

This was a great time. We were in town for a church retreat. I thought the room was a great value for the price. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was top notch, friendly, and helpful. The free breakfast was as good as you get and better than most places I have visited. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Bellevue area.

« Not the BEST Best Western »

Rooms smelled and needed updating. Our room reeked of stale cigarettes and regret. The parking to the rear of the facility was sketchy, at best. I was really glad when daylight broke and our car was still there and we could leave. Staying was not my best decision, but we had been on the road for ten hours and were exhausted.

    « Terrible hotel »

Booked 3 nights but left after first night due to awful experience. It's Unbelievable that this hotel has decent reviews. Lobby & exterior looks fine but Don't be fooled! In reality, as soon as you get to rooms, it's dirty, dusty, dingy, dark & smells mildewy. Bathroom has NO countertop and such a tiny pedestal sink that water splashes onto floor of the cramped bathroom. Sheets so pilled that they are uncomfortable, & long hair in sheets when bed was opened. Skimpy size towels are rough & light gray-beige (the tag said "white") & look like they've never been bleached. Hard tile flooring throughout the room is dirty, trim dusty, cracked walls & caulk. Scant yellow fluorescent lighting throughout leaves room barely lit, dark. Trying to check in at 1am took 50 minutes in spite of Expedia verifying our payment ahead of check in. This hotel is not up to US standards. For $30 more moved to the beautiful Marriott Courtyard in Bellevue!

    « Bad experience »

Arrived at the hotel and it was a nice setup until we got our room. The room smelled like mildew or just old. Dated hotel that had been remodeled but more work needs to be done. We could not get the tv remote to control the tv and we even tried the front desk remote and could not get the tv to work correctly.

    « Spacioius Rooms »

We booked over a month and a half in advance on Priceline. I was able to name my own price and got a two double bed room for 65% off! It was spacious. Clean. I thought 9am was a little too early to shut down breakfast. There was no regular coffee offered in the rooms only decaf. Staff couldn't find regular, but front desk clerk offered to go next door and buy me a cup of fresh brewed coffee. Whirlpool was under construction. Friendly staff. I would stay there again if we got the same price we paid.

« Maybe Motel 6 would have been better »

We went to Nebraska for a wedding and from the outside, we were very pleased. When we got into our room, at first glance we were happy. However, when I went in to take a shower I notices the filth on the ledges, then I noticed the towels, grey, dingy and smelled musty. the washcloths were the same and some so badly worn they had holes in them. I went to Walmart and bought my own towels. The room reeked or old cigarettes. The air conditioner didn't help because it was in the filter. The bed was very uncomfortable, obviously a cheap mattress unlike some other BW hotels I have stayed in. The next day i was stuffy and and coughing. When we got back to the hotel my niece noticed the black mold growing out of the air conditioner. Black mold and general filth. No wonder we all felt like crap. The manager/owner acted as if it were no big deal. All day yesterday we were all stuffy, scratchy throats, irritated eyes. The breakfast on both days consisted of powdered eggs, sausage, packaged gravy with the artificial sausage in it, waffles and pancakes. The woman working in the breakfast area was very nice and very helpful but she couldn't fix the black mold or the smelly towels. There was construction going on and it was like someone was operating a jack hammer in our bathroom. I brought all of this to the managers attention, even showed him pictures and he was "Oh, OK. I'll have some look into it" I will not make this mistake again. I could have stayed at the Motel 6 for a lot less and been more comfortable.

    « Yay TripAdvisor »

Our son was in a very bad car accident and we needed to come to Nebraska for his surgery. I had never used TripAdvisor before but I had just seen and advertisement on TV and I thought I would try it. I must say I was very pleased!! We saved money and the Best Western White House in Bellevue Nebraska was awesome. I certainly will use TripAdvisor again. Thank You Thank You

    « Customer service not #1 »

Treated very poorly by management, made a booking for wrong weekend, called within one hour, refused to change date. Now i am stuck paying for a weekend i cant be there. Called expedia, they called the manager while i held, i called best western corporate, they called the manager while i held. Refused to change date when my booking is 8 days away , calling it "policy". Sometime policies are meant to be adjusted a little bit for a customer who wants to stay at your hotel, but just on an earlier date. Thanks for nothing.

« Great Place to Stay »

So glad we picked this hotel, the staffing here have all been GREAT, very helpful in any area that needed to be!! The rooms are very clean and housekeeping is GREAT!! This hotel is also in a wonderful location!!!!

« Great Pet Friendly Motel »

Very pet friendly room with tile floors, pleasent staff and clean room. Breakfast was fine and ready right at 6 am. The staff was very welcoming to both us and our two small dogs. Enjoyed our stay will use them again when we are in the area.

    « The Best. »

Two nights and everything was perfect. Modern, clean room and nicely decorated lobby. The owner Danny went out of his way when I was checking in to tell me that he didn't want me to be in any way disappointed, and not to hesitate to mention if anything wasn't up to standard. It was nice to see he cared. The hotel was located in a convenient and very safe neighborhood. Free hot breakfast. Great stay, Thanks Danny.

« Place to stay worthwhile »

Being on the road I stay with various chains and motel, this motel came out beyond my expectation and the price was great. Breakfast and amenities were also great, very clean environment and entire staff is always there to help you out and resolve any of your problem with great smile. I recommend this motel for business, couples and families to stay at this location with great price and welcome by admin.

« A great place to stay after a long trip and arriving after midnight »

I was impressed by the staff and they truly went out of the way to make sure our needs were met. It was a typical breakfast, but overall what you would normally expect. The rooms are large and spacious, the furniture was well maintained. The hotel is also updating making it more modern. We were very satisfied.

« We enjoyed our stay, it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. »

We stayed at the this place for the airshow they had at Offutt AFB, and to attend a family reunion on my wifes side. When we got there they were nice and polite and quick to help us. We got to our room and found that it was actually roomy, clean and pretty quiet. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We went the next morning to the continental breakfast, and I was impressed at their selection. Usually it's muffins, cereal, bagels some donuts a waffle maker and that's pretty much it. But here they had all that, plus pancakes, eggs, sausage links, bacon a couple days biscuits and gravy, and I'm sure more that I'm forgetting. So really a nice selection, much better then anyplace else we've stayed in. While there was some construction, going on when we got there we didn't really hear anything in our room. Usually during an airshow most hotels are booked and we hear everything in the next room. We didn't have that problem here, I mean I know there were people next door but we never heard them. We really enjoyed our stay and will plan on staying here again if we ever need to come back to the area. On a side note, there are two restaurants next to the hotel. We ate at both and they were pretty good, one is more of a breakfast place. The other one I had a mushroom burger and it was pretty good. We liked both places and they were reasonably priced.

    « It's A Gem! »

Previous reviews stated somethings thar I'd like to clear up. There may have been flooding previously, but they have completely redone the lobby, and are working on rooms to the north. So, even if it had flooded, there is now a beautiful new entry way. The lobby has beautiful flooring and the hotel itself has new carpet and paint, baseboards and trim. It's done in the presidential theme, and so each room has the name of a President with his dates in office affixed to the door. It's pretty neat. At the time of our stay, the pool was under renovation, however they have a deal at the Leid Aquatic Center just down the road, and you can swim there free of charge. So that's a very decent alternative to no pool at all. The room itself... The bedding, beds, pillows, TV are all really nice. The beds were made and beautiful when we arrived with 4 standard pillows and a pretty accent pillow. There's a dresser, desk, table, and side table. Our room was equipped with a small microwave and mini fridge. The beds are amazing, they aren't old and worn. The bathroom... I see MANY people who nit pick a bathroom. Our bathroom was clean on arrival and was stocked with clean towels, soaps, small shampoo and conditioners. There is no hair dryer. The shower works, the water was hot. You're not taking a vacation in the bathroom, but if you had to... This one is nice enough to spend extended time in. The breakfast at this place is killer! Hot eggs, sausage, make your own waffles and pancakes! Lots of fruit, danish, bagels, yogurt, coffee, apple and orange juice. It's provided in a decent sized room on the lower floor. I was overly impressed with the breakfast spread, because it seems so much more than most hotels. All of the staff (we are smokers so we were in and out at all hours and met all shifts) were kind, friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating. I couldn't have asked for more out of a hotel staff. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel, and in the future should I be in Omaha, I will stay here.

    « Passing Through »

We were passing through on our way to see family and stayed here as it was away from the hustle of downtown with the baseball playoffs and Olympic swimming trials. Okay hotel. Room was comfortable and clean and the staff was very accommodating. Hotel overall lacks a few amenities we are used to, but was practical for our one-night stay. Breakfast was slim as it was very crowded with lots of kids so we didn't partake. Bathroom was very small, but clean. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

« Stay at Best Western, Bellevue, NE »

The hotel stay was very nice. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The staff was very nice. While the temperatures were extremely high (102-107 degrees) the staff made sure that we were very comfortable. Offering bottled water for trips outside to watch baseball games and offering lemon and orange water at the entrance as well as fresh popped popcorn. Very nice Touch!!!

    « Flooded/Smells »

The hotel had been flooded and was under construction. We could not even enter the front door. It is old and evidently someone left a bathtub running all night and flooded the down stairs. We had to walk through back door and construction to get to room and the door to hotel was left open. Food was a hot breakfast but the eggs tasted like powdered eggs

« The hotel was great »

I had no problem with the motel which is very good, We have stayed there several times, The The motel was clean, The breakfast was good, The service was good and the price was reasonable The location was very good. The problem was with TripAdvisor. We will not book online again. Stan

    « Great Staff »

The young lady at the desk was great! she offered us a cold bottle of water upon check in. This hotel is the Best place to stay for your money's worth. I just checked back in to the same hotel for memorial weekend. they are putting new tile down in the lobby.

« Not sure what im missing... »

We stayed here after booking through hotwire. And while the price was right, my fellow reviewers let me down. Cons: 1) in an industrial part of town right next to train tracks, so yes, lots of trains in the night 2) super outdated. I kid you not, the carpet was old and had tears, lumps, etc. The carpet was bad enough that I wore sandals in my room. Atleast 30 years old. This is the least updated hotel I have stayed at in the last 15 years 3) parts are being renovated. As in I had to cart our luggage over busted up tile. As in, they made us walk over the construction that was left unfinished. Dust had coated the entire lobby. The water fountain had a ton of dust. Put it this way, the manner in which this place is a construction zone, they should not be renting it out, it should be closed for several months until finished. 4) no pool Pros: 1) so eerily empty that it was quiet 2) breakfast was OK.

    « Maintenance beiing done »

We had requested a ground floor room but on arrival we were booked on the second floor with no elevator. The first floor was being varnished and painted and the stairs to the second floor had such heavy carpeting that it was easy to trip walking up and down. Do not book if there is any mobility problems.

    « Trip to Omaha »

The staff is by far the most excellent I have encountered in a very long time. Very concerned that your stay is pleasant and housekeeping is doing a good job. The hotel is quiet and the breakfast is excellent.

    « Best Service!! »

This hotel is the best place to stay at if you are visiting Omaha, it's not that far from downtown. The property is in the process of upgrading the lobby and hallways. I did not experience any problems what so ever. They have the best breakfast and fastest wifi I have seen at any other hotel. You get way more then what you pay for.

    « Best Value »

You can't ask for more, Paid $109.00 for this hotel and it was well worth it. I read the reviews and some reviews said under renovation. I called the hotel and the manager assured me that I would not have any issues. Took his word and everything was perfect. Staff was great, even offered to help with my luggage. The Breakfast was unbelievable, I have never seen a Best western serve so many items. The manager Danny was sharp. He matched my Marriott status and signed me up for BW rewards, Thank you for making my stay perfect.

« Hotel near Omaha Nebraska »

I don't often stay at a Best Western but I got a great deal so I booked it. It was a great experience. All the front personnel were friendly and helpful, offering us chocolate chip cookies and popcorn when we arrived and were famished. The hotel provided a full hot breakfast and great coffee. The room was comfortable as was the bed! The housekeeper even wrote us a lovely note to thank us for her tip. And to top it off, there was a Village Inn right next store so I got my favorite cherry pie.

    « Great Stay!! »

Everything was good. Breakfast was way more then what i expected. I work for the Rail road companies, I have to stay 4 nights a week in hotels. This hotel was one of the best ones that i have stayed in. I made a reservation for next week already. The site shows under renovation, but it is nothing major. You could smell the new paint in the hallways but that was it. If you are looking for a 4 star hotel and do not wish to empty your wallet, this is the place to stay.

« Poor service while under remodelling »

The hotel was under remodeling. This was not noted in anyway when the reservation was made. When I checked in at around 4 on a Friday afternoon, there was a strong smell of wood stain. There was a very tall ladder in the middle of the lobby floor which I felt was dangerous. The railings for the stairs could not be touched because they were still wet with wood stain - which is dangerous. I need to use railings on stairs due to a hip problem. When I went to my room, most of the wood was still wet and sticky from the stain and I got it on my hands. One of the outlets was still uncovered and pulled out of the wall - which is very dangerous. I went and requested a new room. As I waited for them to get me a new room, my leg bumped the area under the counter (no "wet paint" notice was posted in this area) and I got wood stain all over my pant leg. I showed the clerk but all I got was an "I'm sorry" I attempted to have it cleaned but wood stain rarely comes out and indeed, it did not come out. I showed the clerk upon checkout but was told the owner was not there and there was nothing she could do but give me his card. I asked her to have him call me and she said he would the next day. I never received a call. I called two days later and was told he still was not in but that they would have him call me - he was due in later that day. It is another 24 hours later and still no call.

« Wish it hadn't been under renovation »

Aside from the paint fumes in the hallway and breakfast area it is a nice hotel. The room was large and clean. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the air conditioner is a bit noisy. The Zoo was just a few miles up the road and that's what we came to see.

    « Worse stay EVER! »

I stayed here April 14 and checked out April 17. It was a disaster from day 1. Upon arrival I entered a danger zone. Construction, painting, renovations. The desk clerk said something about Best Western requiring renovations every 5 years. If that was the case then why did it look like the 1960s inside. Checking in I discovered that they didn't have my reservation. Thankfully I had printed out my confirmation so they couldn't argue about price. After getting lost trying to find my room I finally happened upon it. The room number was a piece of paper taped to the door. I entered the room. The carpet was disgusting. Stains, sticky, dust mite heaven. And now, after returning home, I just discovered that they charged me twice!!!!!! I will be calling tomorrow! God help them!

    « Failing trends »

Consistently seeing a drop off in customer service since a change in ownership. Been staying at this hotel for 10 years. Failed to: - reserve correct rate - reserve the correct room - have adequate English speaking front desk clerk - communicate a reservation being dropped Unfortunate since the previous owners cared about the customers.

    « Never again »

The hotel is under renovation, I posted pictures of the hallway we are in. We stepped over plastics to and from our room, were woken up at 7am each morning to the painters, spray guns and paint fumes??. The staff and breakfast were fine, maybe if I had more sleep my review would be more positive. Thinking of changing hotels today for the remainder of our stay Well we stayed another night, only because we had already unpacked for 5 days and we're going to be out late so we figured it would be back to the room at 12am and the room hadn't been cleaned ??. Went to desk to try to get towels and empty garbage can and they recommended I talk to the manager in the morning. And up early again today with the painting crew outside my door

    « A relaxing stay »

We like the location of The White House in Belluvue as the street it is on leads you directly to some of the sights we wanted to visit in Omaha, zoo, Gardens, Art Museum. Pleasant place, good breakfast and wonderful attendent, reasonable price for a Su-Monday stay. We love having a counter and sink outside the bathtub area as they do.

    « Excellent »

Cleanest, warmest & friendliest hotel I have ever stayed at! Excellent free, hot breakfasts too! :) 5 Stars for Awesome customer service too! Safe area and next door to several restaurants. This location also has a washer, dryer and fitness center!

    « Great Customer Service »

The team and management here were very helpful. I reserved two rooms for a family and they assisted me through the booking process and made sure the family were well accommodated during their stay. They also accommodated for a last minute day extension to the previous reservation and honored the previous rate given. The family felt comfortable and enjoyed their week long stay at the hotel.

    « A Great Place To Stay »

When I first looked at the link I was sent to me about our forthcoming stay at the Best Western White house Inn, in Omaha, I didn't think much about it. It appeared to be a typical, basic, Best Western hotel ? clean, inexpensive, and functional, exactly what a quick trip to that part of Omaha required. In short, I didn't expect very much. We arrived late in the aftermath of an ice storm the day after thanksgiving 2016. My first impression was of surprise, because it seemed to be a very odd sort of place. Part of it was being renovated, so it was a construction zone, and as well as that there were pictures of past presidents dotted all over the place, mostly completely out of context. However, my preconceived ideas about the hotel, and my first impressions after walking in soon began to change. After getting the luggage indoors out of the biting winds, I was slightly disappointed to find there was no elevator, or ?lift' as we Brits say! It was then that the reception manager, Maria Kang, immediately ran out to help get our baggage to our room. She was professional, cheerful, warm and extremely kind. During our three day/two night stay at the hotel, Maria and her team proved time and again what makes the place special ? the staff who work there! They're all amazing, and they're a real credit to the company. In addition, I was very pleasantly surprised about the room we were given. It was spacious, well appointed, warm, quiet, clean, and well-groomed by the housekeeping team. I'd highly recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Omaha. I've rated the place slightly higher in my ?stars' rating because of two factors, firstly the room size and quality ? which were both above average for such a hotel, and secondly because of the staff who were all excellent.

« Has Bed Bugs (pictures to prove it) »

When i arrived, I was met with professionalism. The lobby was beautiful and it appeared to be a good choice to stay in. When my family got to the room, (the John F Kennedy) I (out of habit from previous bad stays at other hotels) checked the beds for bed bugs. Everything appeared clear. We climbed into bed as it had been a long day. About 45 min after we fell asleep I was awoken by my husband who asked how to turn my flashlight on on my phone. As I was showing him, I asked him why. He stated that he got bit by something and wanted to see what it was. As soon as we turned it on and started searching for the culprit, we were horrified. Our bed was crawling in bed bugs. There was huge ones on our pillows, where our heads were, and when when pulled back the sheets, we noticed several others ranging from tiny to large. We instantly woke our children up, and as soon as we pulled the covers away from my oldest one's face, there was a large bug right next to where her head was. We got them out of bed and checked their bed and it was just as bad. When we gathered all of our stuff (luckily we didn't bring a bunch in) we went downstairs to make staff aware. At first it didn't seem as if they were getting the fact that we told them we had bed bugs in our room, as they asked us if we wanted a different room. Well I know that if they are in one room, especially that bad, they are in other rooms. We kindly declined and asked for our money back and left the motel. It took them 5 days to remove the charges and I noticed they had charged my card not once, but twice. This I believe was an accident as both charges were deleted from my statement. This was a beautiful hotel and a shame that they are infested with these bugs. Hopefully they will be able to get them taken care of. Quick. I am giving them a one star simply because I have to rate them somehow, and the customer service was good. But I will not ever return to this hotel again.

« Lovely hotel on stopover visit »

This was a lovely hotel with all the amenities we wanted at a decent price. Very clean and comfortable with a good hot breakfast. The only downside was that it was near a busy railroad line, so if the noise of trains bothers you, then this isn't the best choice. We didn't find it any trouble, but we've lived in places where the train was close, so didn't bother us.

    « Good stay »

Needed a place to stay for a business trip. Best Western was very close to the venue. I stayed for 2 nights. The room was nice. Temperature was good. Bed was comfortable. WiFi worked. Breakfast was very good.

    « Great Value! »

I always stay here on business because you can't beat it for the price. The staff is great and very accommodating, the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. They are one of the few hotels I've stayed in that actually have great water pressure in the shower, not to mention "rain" shower heads. This is great when you are a "road warrior" like I am. The breakfast is good.

« Close to Henry Doorly Zoo »

Help very nice. Room was redone, but was older motel. Bathroom floor was dirty, big stain on ceiling from a leak, & dingy looking towels. NO bugs though. Cookies & orange or lemon water offered by door each night. Breakfast was on the same level as all motels that serve it. (Pancakes, waffles, scramble eggs, cereal etc. If that isn't for you there is a very good Village inn next door. Close to zoo, bridge going over the river to Council Bluff, & entertainment district in downtown Omaha. Our view was a window looking out to a outside wall. No elevator to second floor & pets are welcome on the first floor.

    « Neat Concept »

This Best Western was very affordable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were all named for Presidents, so I learned a lot I did not know about Grover Cleveland. The hotel has had some renovations and updates, but is a little threadbare in places. Everything was clean, and it was a comfortable, quiet place to sleep. I really liked the free cookies in the lobby. The neighborhood directly around the hotel was a bit downtrodden, and the Village Inn next door had seriously slow service.

    « Presidents »

The name of White House and the rooms named after presidents was very creative. The rooms and hallways had pictures and stories of presidents and events of historic nature. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well presented. The breakfast was typical Best Western fair which was good and a variety of items. As an added treat they had popcorn and lemonade available in the lobby in th afternoons.

« Great place to stay »

The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. The hot breakfast was a great surprise. The staff were very helpful and supportive. The location made it very easy to get back and forth to our destination.

    « jv-sept15 »

Very nice, clean hotel; spacious rooms. Access is a little strange but not a problem (go through parking lots for adjacent businesses. Overall location was convenient for us. The breakfast room is a bit small and got a little crowded at times but the breakfast was better than average.

« Great place to stay »

Everyone was so friendly & helpful. The flavored waters and warm home-made cookies in the lobby were "the icing on the cake". The only downside is no elevator for the 2nd floor for anyone who cannot do the stairs.

    « Good Experience »

I am a 65 female widow who sometimes travels alone. I always stay at this motel when In Omaha. I feel safe here and the staff is very friendly. There is several well known food chains just a short distance from the motel so you can have any type of food you want. When I went to use the hair dryer it would not work. I contacted the front desk and they had a maintenance man right out who replaced the hair dryer in just a few minutes.

    « Great service »

Each and every member of the staff at this hotel goes out of their way to make sure I am a happy camper! I regularly visit Bellevue, NE and always look to this hotel for a great stay. The breakfast is great, the room is nice, and the property is easy to find - but the staff can make or break a stay at a hotel. These guys are terrific
