Best Western Plus Bathurst Hotel & Suites

There was a hockey team staying in the hotel but the hotel staff gave them a conference room to congregate in so there was no hallway noise. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Location, service at hotel were good. Breakfast was hot, good variety I would recommend the hotel to others traveling. Bar/restaurant adjacent to hotel was not open which was disappointing as I really didn't want to venture out to eat dinner that night as I had just completed a long trip.

Travelling for work, I was really impressed with the comfort of the bed and the lovely bathroom. The free exceeded my expectations and the coffee ( the most important part) was excellent. The staff, however, is the selling point to this property. They were amazing

I stayed here in December 2023 a week before Christmas. I was in town for some family matters and needed a place to stay. The staff here were amazing, kind, hard working, welcoming, down to earth just good people all around. My stay was 7 days long and loved every minute of it. The staff here went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, to help me with anything that I needed. The hotel over all was excellent I have no complaints and I can not say enough good things about my stay there, I've stayed in a few hotels over the years and I can honestly truly, from the bottom of my heart say my stay here was one of the best ever. I highly recommend a stay here.

I stay here once a month. The staff are always great and very friendly. The rooms are alway clean and fresh. The breakfast has a nice variety of hot and cold foods to eat in and take on the go. The hot food is always hot and newly cooked.

This is the cleanest frindliest staff I have seen in a hotel in this price range.. All were very helpfull and wanted to please. Very godd price for rooms also. I would also want to mention that the beds at this hotel are as good as I've had at the major 5 star hotels.

The rooms are clean. There was a good variety in the complimentary breakfast. The internet was decently fast as well. Did not use pool, but it was open. Staff are genuine and friendly. Will be staying here for work again.

Enjoyed the room and pool a lot. Very clean and nice place to stay. Although I found that three out of the four workers were very nice and helpful....wish everyone was. (Every staff member) as the guy overnight didn't seem to care at all.

This was a last minute hotel change and it was worth it. The hotel staff were great, the hotel and room were very clean. I really liked the walk-in shower. And the pool was nice after a long day traveling.

Upon arrival, it must have been obvious that we were tired from our drive from PEI! The gentleman at the front desk upgraded our room to a specious suite! The hotel is extremely clean and appears that the rooms have had a recent makeover. The location is good. The restaurant attached is ok. The complimantary breakfast is satisfying.

Overall I had a great stay - comfy bed, clean room, easy check in & check out, good breakfast, adequate gym. Room could have been a bit more soundproof but people around weren't too rowdy. My second morning there I was planning to sleep in, so I put the do not disturb sign on my door, yet around 10am I got a “housekeeping” knock at my door. I was initially annoyed, because didn't they read the sign? But when I opened the door there was a woman who was clearly NOT from housekeeping, and she seemed really alarmed and surprised when I opened the door, and she apologized and ran away. I told my friend this story and he said he's had similar things to happen to him in hotels, so now I'm curious as to what that's about. Presumably someone (not real housekeeping) goes in your room when you're not there and takes things, but wouldn't that require them to have an access card??? I always keep my door locked and latched when I'm in a hotel room alone, so no harm no foul, but certainly a little sketchy. To be clear, the first morning I was there, when real housekeeping came they did an excellent job!

Wonderful location to spend a couple of nights when visiting our home town for the first time since the family home was sold and free lodging was no longer an option. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean, the facilities modern and designed to meet our needs and expectations.

Older property in older downtown area. Helpful front desk staff. Rooms are large and clean. Beds were comfortable. Decent breakfast assortment. Pool, gym and laundry facilities available. Wifi is very slow though. Wish the fridge had freezer capacity to be able to freeze ice paks.

I was in New Brunswick for business and pleasure. I decided to stay at this hotel due to it's location and price. I was disappointed that this hotel didn't offer a hot tub, but it made up for it by having a nice pool and gym. There is also a burger joint and conference centre attached to the hotel. My room was spacious! It consisted of a faux leather chair and ottoman with a reading lamp behind it. The room also came with a desk, desk chair and lamp. The TV was on a dresser. The king bed had 2 night stands and a lamp on each one. The free breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. It came with a variety of eggs, sausage, and beans, as well as the usual fare (bagels, waffles, etc.) When I return to Bathurst, I'm staying here again!

Family and friends were there for a funeral and the staff and availability of common areas for our use was greatly appreciated. Facilities were clean and made available Staff was very helpful when the 14 of us wished to be together in the breakfast eating area after the spot was ‘closed'

The bathtub wasn't working properly so my kids couldn't use it. I asked for a certain room and they had no problem reversing it for me till I got in for my check in I had a different room close to the exit door, and the noise was ridiculous. I am a diamond select member and I didn't received any greetings.

Stayed one night for a hockey tournament, even though there were multiple hockey teams at the hotel it was very quiet, bed was very comfy, and room was spotless. Would definitely stay here again!!!!!!

A very nice basic travel hotel with a good included breakfast buffet. Close to other restaurants. I had issues because when I booked online, I was presented a single rate for all three nights, but when I went to check out, the rate for the last two nights was higher than had been presented online. When I asked about this, I was told that the rates changed depending on the day of the week, and that nothing could be done. I told the front desk people, who were to their credit very friendly and tried to help that I was unhappy. When I landed back in Toronto, I received a new copy of my bill where they had applied a discount to bring all three nights in alignment to match the rate that I had seen on the reservation site. I appreciate the effort and the customer service

I stayed at The Best Western Bathurst NB for business and also used their conference amenities for a day of training with some of the leaders from my company. My trip to Bathurst was fraught with challenges, my muffler partically disconnetced from the car so for about 1.5 hours I drive with "something" on the bottom of my car hitting every bump! I was able to get an appointment to have the car looked at but it isn;t an easy fix and I am currently still in Bathurst in the lobby of the hotel patiently waiting for the call that my car is ready! I also, possibly for the first time in my entire life, packed efficiently for a one night stay. One nights worth of clothing and one nights worth of shampoo and conditioner. I was very please with myself until now lol. Anyway, the reason I share this is because choosing this hotel has absolutely saved my sanity on this trip. Every person I have encountered has been gracious, friendly and kind. On my second night, when I had to check back in after getting word my car wouldn;t be ready, the girl at the front desk upgraded me to a suite, not necessary but the gesture was noted as going above and beyond when she knew I was having a rough day! As I said, I am still in the hotel. I am checked out but the lobby is comfortable, I have wifi so I can work and they have delicious coffee - I stay in alot of hotels and this could be the best I've had in a hotel lobby! Kelly who helped me book my training room and meals was not only detailed and helpful leading up to my event, on the day of the training she was extremely helpful and managed to produce a solution to every problem! I normally train onsite but in the Northern NB market our locations don;t have a training room. I haven't been on the road for offsite training since before the pandemic so I was a little underprepared to say the least! Notmally everything I need is onsite! She produced a flipchart and markers for me, they provided teh scree, projector and the projector provided sound for videos! Lunch was seemless and delicious. I don't write reviews very often, only when I am compelled because the experience was just that great! Huge thank you to everyone here - if my car isn't fixed again today, I can't even be mad because the rooms are fabulous as well and it will mean one more night in them!

We had to make sure that our experience was special. We are now in another BW+. It is good, but not as good as this one. EVERY member of staff we met was friendly and asking if we needed help. The room was spotless. There was options as to how much service you needed during your stay. Accessible bathroom had no problems. Breakfast choice and service was extensive. It was actually hot - each item had its own thermostat control.

Had a quick business trip to Bathurst and stayed here. Young lady at the front desk seemed quite new but was helpful and pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was OK. Parking was good, easy to get in and out. Great little pub called the Bootlegger for a pint and a delicious chicken sandwich.

we were satisfied with this hotel. a bit pricey though but very clean and staff was very hospitable. i would recommend it. i had booked through expedia and paid 59 more than i would have paid directly at the hotel and they can't do anything about a refund, so better to call the hotel dire tly to book.

Clean, comfortable rooms with a great breakfast and only one block from the harbour and from a fantastic restaurant, Fresco. Will definitely stay here again. Staff were friendly, location is convenient and there are lots of nice shops nearby.

PROS : Comfortable bed. Real spacious shower. Very clean. Windows have screen and they open a few inches to let in fresh air which is lovely for all of us who don't sleep well in air conditioning. Big outside parking. Central location, walking distance of the waterfront promenade, a little café, a bar, and a corner away from a fab little restaurant called Fresco Kitchen. CONS : I really don't like carpets in hotel rooms. But then again, most have them. And those were clean. The front staff were friendly but not necessarily super helpful with where to eat etc. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but it had something for everyone (from little sausages to yogurt and cereals), and seemed popular with kids. Bravo to the staff working in that breakfast room to keep it so clean and in order throughout the breakfast period.

Large, clean rooms; spacious bathroom; awesome shower; friendly/helpful staff; central location; huge breakfast (clean food, not greasy, lots of choice too). Fantastic layout to the facility, lots of parking, great exercise/pool area too! Room was almost fully accessible (small lip to get into shower). Great restaurant on-site. Close to 2 micro-breweries was a bonus!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I usually associate Best Western with “run of the mill” but this room was impeccable. And super comfy! I travel a lot for work and honestly this bathroom was my by far the largest and most accommodating I've come across at months of high end hotels across Canada. Beautiful high-ceilings glass doored shower and sizeable floor space.

Great visit to a lovely hotel. Friendly staff, comfy bed, super clean, good breakfast and chocolate covered strawberries! I really don't know what more could be said as I didn't have any negative comments. If you are coming to Bathurst NB, stay here!

Big rooms and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious . You are walking distance to a handful of restaurants,and close to the water. Would highly recommend staying here if you're in Bathurst. I did not get breakfast at the hotel so I can't comment on that.

Enjoyed our stay and especially the friendly staff from Check In, Breakfast, to Check Out. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this Hotel. The proximity to everything in town was great!

I stayed at the best western with my partner for my birthday and we had a wonderful stay. Easy check in, very comfortable bed , delicious breakfast and great facilities. Would recommend for a future stay!

Traveled to Bathurst for work and stayed here, had a great stay, took advantage of some amenities such as internet, hot breakfast, and fitness center/pool which were all great. Pool is a bit small but would be great for young kids. Rooms were clean and the property all seemed fairly new as well. The restaurant downstairs was fantastic! Only minor issue I had was my room was directly above the pool so could hear some noise but the pool closed at night anyway so luckily it was only in the day. Next time I would just request a room away from the pool but would stay here again and recommend it to anyone else!

This is a wonderful hotel in the centre of Bathurst. The beds are firm and supportive and the pillows are high quality. The staff is very polite and accommodating. They are there to make your stay comfortable. No request is too much. The only reason I did not give this a five star rating is that restaurant "Classic Burger" was exceedingly disappointing. It took my wife more that 90 minutes to get her meal.It would have been longer had she not been assertive. She was continually ignored. It was if she did not exist.The staff at the restaurant were impolite, indignant and unaccommodating. The experience was a stain on an otherwise delightful stay. I would highly recommend you stay at this hotel and stay away from the restaurant.

Best Western Plus Bathurst Hotel & Suites does cater to your needs. I got the room I requested. It was spacious, super clean, with all amenities necessary in a hotel room. Good breakfast in the morning. Super nice and professional staff. Thank you for everything. Plus, you are just two steps from the best chocolate/candy store - Confiserie Andrea Confectionery. The have the best selection of everything kids and grown ups can cream of. Their hand-made chocolates are a delight.

Attitude and ignorant is not something I had ever experienced from a housekeeping employee until I stayed at this hotel. Not worth staying at the property again. Too bad since it is the newest hotel in town and is centrally located. Next time I will rent a cottage instead to enjoy this beautiful waterfront city. I feel bad that I organized this group trip and recommended we all stay here

Always receive friendly service. Rooms are very clean and Covid safety measures are in place. Front desk staff always ask to see if there is anything they can do to make your stay more comfortable. Treat bag upon check in was a lovely touch!

Comfortable beds, clean room, good amenaties, friendly staff. Great restaurant on site, Classic Burger. Breakfast good even during covid times. As some other hotels have not kept this service up or cut back significantly.

This is my second time staying here and the quality, value and service are all top shelf. Had a king room on third floor. Very quiet location (I don't think any rooms face the street). All areas in the hotel are clean and well furnished. Staff is very friendly. While I did not use the pool or exercise room I saw they were well set up. The hot breakfast is very well done. With the pandemic the "buffet" is not serve yourself; you have to order and your meal is set for you. Food was good and almost all the things you expect from a hot buffet breakfast were available. The downtown location is easily accessible and good for shopping with some small shops nearby.

As the title says, Best Western has the cleanest rooms with the most polite staff and best amenities for your hard earned dollar. Why spend time checking reviews to other hotels when there is a Best Western in your travels? Take the sure thing and make sure you stay at Best Western.

Like I said.... the hotel is nice on the outside aND in the lobby but the rooms are plain as heck and don't have ANY jacuzzi in the Suites. Everything is overpriced and underwhelming. I WOULD STRONGLY recommend going to Atlantic host instead.

Clean hotel but bright lights just outside window and curtaines were too thin. Couldn't sleep at all. It was like daytime in room with all lights off. I stay at hotels very frequently and most hotels have thin curtaines but this one was worst. If you can't sleep in bright enviornment, avoid this one.

I recently visited the BWP in Bathurst for a 2 day stay to visit family. I reviewed location on this site prior to book and made to call to confirm booking. I was advised that the would match the online price of $139.99 for my Sunday and Monday night stay. The Hotel cleanliness and location were wonderful. My room had issues with the heat air/conditioner as its was very noisy. Also, the TV was not functional for both evenings. There was not many people at the hotel during my stay as the weather was typical winter season. After checkout I called the hotel to ask for an email copy of the invoice and realized that i was charged $139 and $165 per night and contacted the desk via phone. I was advised they would speak to the manager and then they said he advised them to tell me that it is what it is and the hotel had low occupancy therefor that is the rate. I genuinely believe this is not Best Western's core values nor does it line up with their Mission Statement.. I am truly disappointed that this is there level of leadership and level of service from this particular location. I would love to recommend this location but like any business how you relate and service your clients is the ultimate recommendation! Disappointing to say the least! I expected the opposite of visiting my hometown after many years away!

I was very impressed with this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and incredibly clean. It was spacious and had a great shower with lots of water pressure. The hotel now also features Classic Burger as a restaurant option, where there were TONS of burgers to choose from. This place also had some of the best pillows I've ever slept in; I'd recommend this hotel based on the pillows alone. The staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed over two nights at the Bathurst Best Western location. It's conveniently located close to restaurants and a Tim Hortons. The rooms are always immaculate; clean, comfortable. I was able to easily stream Netflix using my laptop and HDMI cable without any interruption in high speed internet service. The breakfast was the typical fare, but I enjoyed that I had my choice of eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, cereals, waffles, yogurt, coffee, juices...among other things. Everything fresh and delicious. I always stay at this location when in the area and enjoy my stay every time.

The hotel was very clean and centrally located, staff were friendly, rooms had everything we required and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and the continental breakfast was great with a good variety for everyone of all ages.

Checked in with some other parents for a hockey road trip and had my room changed with no issues so I could be in the same area with my friends.The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable and nicely appointed. Would return to this hotel for sure.

Our stay was very good and the services were excellent and the location if perfect close to everything you can ask for Restaurants, Stores, Beach, parks and even walk arounf the 3 bridges with the fresh smell of the salt water.

Large rooms, great beds, good services, excellent location. Very good hotel for business trips. One thing I'm noticing is a crazy amount of plastic. The hotel would benefit from less plastic, more substance. The breakfast would be much more consistent with real cutlery, jugs of cream & milk, real glasses. As it stands, the beautiful room loses some appeal when I'm faced with a plastic wrapped plastic cup instead of a real coffee mug. Ditto breakfast, with microscopic creamers instead of a nice big jug. Cheap paper plates instead of real plates add to the "cheap & junky" vibe, whereas the rest of the hotel is lovely. I might even have given it 5 stars (and certainly a better review) if I hadn't had to spend so much time unwrapping plasticky junk - during environment week, no less!

we were in town for a figure skating competition! - great location only being minutes from the rink and lots of great options for restaurants. the beds are really comfortable and rooms are spotless! we recommend this Best Western to anyone travelling to Bathurst

Nice and very clean. Staff very friendly. Location excellent. Accessible room i would rate it 7/10 for wheelchair accessibility. A lot of furniture leaving it tight for a wheelchair. Wish they offered a commode for bathroom. Only major complaint is the room was on the 1st floor and our window didn't have block out curtains for privacy. I felt totally exposed. Anyone walking by on sidewalk could easily see in. At night with tv/lights zero privacy. For this reason I would not return here.

The hotel was very clean! Check-in time was quick, the lady was very welcoming and got us everything we needed. The room was great! Very clean and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was great! Fresh and many options and the staff very friendly! The check-out was as fast and pleasant as the check-in! We will be back soon!

Pleasantly surprised. The breakfast is nice and the people running it are excellent. Pool is a bit small. Beds are comfy and a higher standard. Rooms well laid out. The gym is also nice. The front desk staff are helpful and very human.

A warm welcome that included a complementary guest BBQ and a full hot breakfast. Rooms are clean and functional. Appreciate the walk in shower. Comfy beds and nice pillows. Complementary water, coffee and sweet treat. Great location. You get the feeling that they appreciate tour business and have added personal touches to above and beyond.

We stayed at the end of a motorcycle trip around the Gaspe. This BW was like many others I have stayed at, excellent! The girl that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful with not only our room, but in selecting a restaurant to eat diner. Room was very clean and well equipped, lots of parking and a location that offers lots of choices near by.

Had a wonder stay at the Best Western Bathurst. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choices. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were great. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is located in a great area with lots of amenities around.

In the heart of Bathurst is the city's Best Western location. Within walking distance of a pub, Tim Horton's location, not far the scenic water front...beautiful place. The rooms are comfortable, always clean, and the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. During my most recent visit, though, I came across a problem I haven't had in any of my hundreds of hotel stays over the years; an inability to toggle the TV's input. In today's technological age, I'm one of many travellers who travels with a laptop and connections to hook the laptop to the TV and stream my home's TV, Netflix or YouTube. I even know people who travel with gaming systems. To do this, I need to be able to plug in my HDMI cable to the back of the TV, and then switch its input to HDMI 1, 2 or 3...depending where it's plugged in. On this occasion, with this 'industrial' TV and the hotel's generic remote, I could find no buttons in the rear, front or sides of the TV to change the input. The generic remote has no option, either. I was forced to call the front desk and the maintenance person came to my room right away with the TV's actual 'LG' remote. With that, I had access to everything. I encountered no other issues for the rest of my stay. As mentioned to the front desk on checkout, it would be useful to simply leave the original remote with the TV. At the least, get better generic remotes that allow for an 'input' option. With that technical issue aside, I most definitely recommend this location. Despite my concern, the staff was, as mentioned, very accommodating and the issue was resolved quickly. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed at the Best Western Plus Bathurst for a quick family trip. The convenient downtown location provides for plenty of options when looking for entertainment or a stroll along the waterfront. You will receive the typical Best Western Plus experience from the friendly bilingual staff. Check in and check out was a breeze. The room was well stocked and clean. There is ample parking, a gym, pool and complementary breakfast.

great breakfast other than the hashbrowns being too spicy, clean room, great service, within walking distance of hotels, great parking, not far from attractions or the hockey rink, close to Pap Joe's and Evy's Restaurant which has amazing prices and food, good staff.

There is nothing wrong with this typical Best Western Plus; it might even be a bit above average for its brand. The room we had was spacious and comfortable, everything worked, and it was clean. There was nothing special here to make it stand out, but what do you want for US $120 in season.

The hotel is a well located facility in Bathurst. The staff was bilingual and very helpful.. The Rooms are above average for a best western. We had to cancel a one night to our stay and the hotel gave us a full refund .we appreciated this attention very much. We recommend this hotel if you visit that area.

We stopped here overnight between Quebec and PEI. It was just right. The front desk staff members were all courteous and super friendly. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. I was disappointed to find that my room was on the bottom floor right near the entrance, as I was expecting lots of noise, but it was as quiet as could be! I slept much better than I usually do in hotels. Breakfast was included and had the typical fare. Very attentive and friendly waitstaff.

The Best Western in downtown Bathurst NB was great. I stayed 1 night for business, and I have since booked to stay there again for an up coming meeting. It was in a central location in Bathurst - close to an excellent running bridge-to-bridge loop, and trail along the water. Nectar restaurant (good food + nice outdoor patio balcony) was also lovely and a 2 min walk.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Bathurst with the finest buffet breakfast we have had included in a room fee. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our teams' needs. I have no qualms recommending the Best western Bathurst to anyone.

The walk in was beautiful one of the nicest the room was beyond lovely the staff very helpful the breakfast area very clean and lots of room. The room was very clean and a wonderful set up for a solo visit.

I stay over 50 nights a year in a hotel and really just want clean, efficient, great wifi, and overall value. This is a great hotel downtown in this small city Can walk to services and some restaurants Overall good value. Lots of parking. Comfortable bed and lots of pillows and towels. Shower is very good.lots of water and pressure!

I really liked the hotel. Fitness center, breakfast everything was perfect. It was renovated lately and I will definitly stay at my next business trip in the area. All th employees are very kind and there to help.

Best Western chain of hotels is good and provide a similar standard of service across their chain of hotels. Rooms are always clean, have the requisite amenities, rooms are warm in winter n cool in summer. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Special requests eg soft low pillows are catered to.

We just completed our second visit to the Best Western Plus in Bathurst. We visit family with our young son twice per year and like having our own space and the specialness of a hotel stay while we do. The staff at this hotel is AMAZING. They are so friendly and kind. Sometimes just a kind smile when you're struggling with luggage and a toddler is just so needed, and there was a lot of that going on this weekend! They really go above and beyond and are so friendly and warm. The breakfast buffet was served in the restaurant and was great (tasty with lots of hot and cold selection), with a wonderful server both mornings we were there who was attentive and stopped to say kind things about our son. When we had an issue with connecting our wifi, a staff member came right to our room to help us with it. The pool was clean, quiet, and warm. We are aware the price is a bit more than the other hotels in the area but it is 100% worth it. We will be back!

This hotel is beautifully appointed! Very clean with an enthusiastic staff. The breakfast is above and beyond the normal continental breakfast. This is full service built into the price. Excellent place to stay!

Excellent experience. Lots of room in the King Suite. Staff brought in rollaway cot, no extra charge. Complimentary drink at the bar was a plus! My kids loved the toys in the pool area. Possibly the best complimentary breakfast buffet we've had. A lovely female staff member from the restaurant even helped push my vehicle out of the snow. Best hotel experience we've had in a very long time. Would definitely stay here again.

a beautiful new hotel with a great adjacent restaurant. it is ideally located in the downtown core.of the city. walking distance to many local shops, services and seaside walk way. a great tourist stopover .

I stayed here on a business trip for one night. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spacious, well laid out to allow for a working visit, relaxing arm chair, desk and chair, complimentary water, very comfortable bed and pillows! Blackout curtains to provide a great sleep. Bathrooms are reasonable size and have a spacious shower! There is a restaurant attached for simple meals. There is a bar area that serves on tap local craft beers as well as international beers. Rates are reasonable

I was travelling with a group and we booked a bout 10-12 rooms. The service was awesome and the friendliness of the staff was 10 out of 10. The breakfast was a solid 8, but the service in the restaurant was another 10 out of 10. Great Job!!!

Check-in was fast and friendly. Room was very clean. Restaurant has good food and breakfast buffet is good and convenient. I stay here frequently for business and it is always a pleasant stay. Beds are comfortable. Have stayed for pleasure also and my daughter enjoyed the pool and especially access to a candy store next door. The suits are excellent and roomy. Not far from stores and other restaurants. Close to water with nice walkway along the water.

The room were nicely decorated room, nice furniture, the room has a microwave, tv, small bar fridge, ideal for family and those traveling with spacial need s !. The room we had didn't have a good view. The pool at hotel was a small pool not god for an adult to swim. The front desk staff were great. I do however do not recommend their restaurant 150 Main Street! Other then breakfast. Their restaurant is high prices and food isn,t up to the standards to match the price they charge. I review restaurant separately.

We stayed here after traveling in the Gaspe region on a motorcycle. We were tired and able to get the last room at the hotel. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, we were given two tickets for free drinks at the restaurant. Breakfast is served there and it was a better than standard hotel breakfast with hot eggs, potatoes, bacon, fresh fruit, cheese, yogurts, pancakes. Great service by restaurant staff. Comfortable beds and air conditioning that worked. Plenty of outlets for our many needs.

I loved being downtown and a walk from the water and great restaurants. The coupon for a free drink was a very nice touch. The staff were extremely accommodating and professional. Fantastic bed for a great night sleep!

Beautiful room,Iexceptionally clean ( light fixtures. ,door frames, lamps,trimming all well dusted) bed was very comfortable and close to everything you would want in a downtown relaxed atmosphere......very quiet for sleeping.

The hotel is extremely clean and very well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Providing the free breakfast and the free evening drink at the bar are appeciated added touches. Found this to be a reasonable rate for what you got. Will definitely stay again.

It is a very clean hotel with super friendly staff. Breakfast is fantastic within the night package. Free parking is provided and the location is just a 5 minutes away to the city center and water front.

This hotel happened to be the same price as every other hotel in Bathurst this past weekend (usually it's a little more expensive since it's higher-end), so we decided to stay here and it was totally worth it!! Top of the line facility, which is newly built so everything looks very modern and sleek in the lobby/common area. The rooms have all the basic standard fare, but go above and beyond with the bathrooms (which are QUITE large compared to the typical hotel bathroom and have terrific water pressure), as well as a luxury Keurig coffee maker in each room. Saturday night was also very quiet and allowed easily for sleep, I don't know if this is soundproofing or just our luck regarding quiet neighbors! You also get a complimentary alcoholic drink for each adult in the room for each night of your stay at the on-site bar, and complimentary breakfast which has some delicious selections if I do say so myself. The pool was undergoing maintenance so was not available during our stay, however the check-in representative immediately offered complimentary access to a local pool just down the road. Very good customer service to automatically offer an alternative to a service which is usually available but is temporarily down. Staff was very friendly, always made sure to offer things before I even asked, and was willing to accommodate any needs. I will definitely look to stay here again when in Bathurst, as even though it's often pricier than the competitors, it's also a better hotel.

Always enjoy staying at this location for all my business travel to Bathurst. They have a great restaurant on site, a small pool and fitness center, and nice large rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful in the event of any last minute changes to bookings required.

A spacious room with an easy chair. The shower area was huge with the tap handle away from the shower head, so you can adjust the temperature easily before stepping into the stream–a nice touch. One inconvenience was that the air conditioner was positioned close to the bed and blew right onto it. There being no extra blanket, we had to improvise by piling clothes on the bottom corner. I have one major complaint. The TV was very confusing. A multitude of available channels comprised many repeats of Canadian network stations from different cities across the country. A few channels did not work, just static. Most infuriating, however, was the power button would not turn off the set. Ultimately I had to pull the plug to shut it off for the night. Management, see if you can contract for a better package. The gym was adequate for my workout, however, I would have welcomed a wider range of free weights. Missing 5 lbs. and top was only 35 lbs. The adjoining restaurant was convenient and offered good food. A great deal was that our room charge included a hot breakfast and two free drinks the night before if we dined there. We did! The reception staffer was very friendly. She took the time and effort to mark up a map of the area with suggestions for attractions.

I'm a commercial traveler and have stayed at many Best Westerns across the Maritimes. Sometimes I bring my pet and there are no issues. Best Western in Bathurst is the exception. At 9pm I was advised to vacate my room because apparently this hotel is not pet friendly. I can understand that some hotels can have this policy but I feel like I could have had a warning and make an exception since I was already settled into the room. This goes without saying that I will never stay at this property again.

Enjoyed immensely the 3 nights at the Best Western in Bathurst N.B. I very much appreciated also the complimentary full breakfasts and complimentary drink with dinner. I give this hotel a 5 stars rating!

All good but 2 things missing: room service breakfast and a Jacuzzi in the pool area. Bed is perfect, hot shower, decent restaurant adjacent, easy to log on to internet. staff friendly. The pool is a square heated area but I gave it a miss as what I really needed was a jacuzzi. I got the handicapped room although I have no handicap, but no difference for me, just a bit more space in the bathroom probably.

Comfortable bed and pillows in well-arranged room for business purposes where desk is away from the TV and there's a couch to sit on for viewing TV (instead of the bed).Restaurant on-site had excellent menu selection and food was delicious and more than ample portion sizes! Breakfast was timely for a quick exit for business purposes.

This is BY FAR the best hotel in Bathurst. The rooms are big and clean. Beds are comfortable. The breakfast is on par with what you pay. Already planning on going back! Love that you are walking distance to Subway, the little shops as well as the beautiful walkway right on the water.

I stayed two nights for work related purposes. The room was very clean and the hotel front desk staff were super helpful. Having been at the restaurant previously - (year ago) I was a bit hesitant as the food and service was not very good at my last visit. I was pleasantly surprised as the food was excellent and the service was awesome. Being a former waitress myself, I can be a bit more picky but they certainly exceeded my expectations. Waitress ANNIE is doing a super good job. I WILL BE BACK for a stay and will certainly eat at the restaurant instead of venturing out.

The rooms were dirty and the bottles of body cream and shampoo were almost empty. The top sheet of one of the two queen bed had a weird brown stain on it. Also, the service at the restaurant/bar was very poor to say the least and there was a pile of vomit outside the restaurant's front entrance (manager/I don't know what) was drinking a pint at the bar while apparently working, not super professional. The check in was really slow and inaccurate.

I wish I could send my picture of the meal I was presented with and a copy of how it reads on the menu. It was an absolute dining disaster. I paid $24.00 for a plate of veggies and a tiny piece of saline preservative chicken that was pink...undercooked and in no way matched the description of the menu. I tasted it and sent it back and the wait staff never blinked an eye. She just shot an, "Are you done with that?" and scooped it up and took it away. I made sure I cut it in half so they wouldn't re-serve it to someone else. That's the vibe I got. Terrible!! I will stay at the hotel again but I will never set foot in that restaurant again! The restaurant is "150 Main". Once again, the hotel and staff were great...good job!

This is the first time at this hotel and I can say that it will not be our last. Great looking place, with great room, great service and very comfortable environment. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and it was very good and great service.

I was in Bathurst for work related purposes but had never had to stay overnight before. Spent 2 nights at BW. It was excellent and i was pleasantly surprised with the hotel, it's rooms, cleanliness and parking. The restaurant food was excellent and well priced! I enjoyed my stay so much i am writing this review. Normally i do not post reviews.

Even though Bathurst is my hometown, my family and I stayed at the Bathurst BW for a week end visit. This was a GREAT hotel to travel with my kids. We stayed in a larger suite (two queen beds with a larger living room/sitting room). The room was very clean, spacious and really up to date. The beds were very comfortable. The AC/heat was easy to control and not too noisy. The pool was small, but my kids were quite happy with it. I would suggest an upgrade would be to get a water slide for the kids. Although I didn't go in, the gym looked adequate as well. The staff were kind and helpful. The complementary breakfast the next morning was pretty good, too. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, but we did not go. I hear it's pretty good, too. lots of free parking is nice. This hotel is located in the downtown core. There are a few quality shops across the street for shopping, and some decent restaurant a short walk away. The "Bootlegger" is a great local craft beer bar 10 steps from the hotel's front door. Bathurst has a great beach, and this hotel could only be better if it was on it.

Was in Bathurst for business and stopped during a storm. The service was great and the room was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. A restaurant was attached so I did not have to leave the building again during the storm in order to have supper. Breakfast was included through the restaurant.

Easy to find with ample parking. Room was spacious and clean. bed was comfortable .... not too firm! Breakfast was very good. Quiet area but close to everything. Easy checkin and checkout. Stayed here for business. Felt secure and safe.

I was pleasantly surprised at check-in when I encountered a lovely lobby which was festively and tastefully decorated for the holidays. This was my first time visiting this hotel; first time in Bathurst for work. The hotel is situated right in the old 'downtown', with a few restaurants and shops in close walking proximity. Check-in was a breeze! The room has a nice sitting chair for reading, a desk, tv, mini fridge and microwave. Although I didn't use them, I checked out the pool and gym - no one was using them, and they looked very clean and well maintained/new. The hotel was nice and quiet and there is a restaurant attached (it was still closed when I was looking for an early supper, so didn't get to try it). Complimentary breakfast in the morning that sure did the trick! Will definitely be staying here again!

Dreadful Breakfast ! If you have traveled to different Best Western hotels, you know their normal cooked breakfast buffet is superb - sausage, eggs, beans, waffles, toast, pancakes, yoghurt, fruit etc, etc. However, at this hotel you had to go next door to a small restaurant for breakfast. Very limited menu - and you could only chose 1 meal (I had sausage, egg & toast) but that was it ! I was not allowed to have any pancakes, fruit, yoghurt, oatmeal & all the other things. You just make 1 choice & a line cook prepares it & you're done ! 1 glass of juice/cup of tea/coffee. You want more ? You gotta Pay extra ! Whilst the king size room we were in was superb, next time in Bathurst I'll save $30, go to Comfort Inn & head to McDonalds for breakfast !

The Best Western in Bathurst was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. It was super clean and comfortable. The pillows were so soft! I love that we were able to open the windows some for fresh air too. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. It was in a convenient location as well.

We stayed at this location during a recent trip to New Brunswick for a funeral. Having enjoyed BW Plus in Europe in 2016 we were aware of the quality at a reasonable cost. The Hotel is quiet, clean and near many services that one might want in Bathurst. Of particular note are the beds which we found to be super comfortable with great choice of pillows. The shower was big enough for two and the entire room was spotless. There is a pool, though we had not brought swim suits to our chagrin and there are work out machines to suit. Of particular note is the attached restaurant, the "Chaleur" which we enjoyed due,in part, because of the superb service from Brenda. This is a very good hotel and we will stay there again.

One of the friendliest, most helpful, cleanest motels we've stayed in. We were well taken care of fom the moment we arrived, to the time we left. We had left a watch in our room and missed it the next day. We called the hotel, they found it and shipped it to us.

My husband and I prefer to use the Best Western chain when we travel. We have a good idea of what to expect. This particular Best Western went even beyond our expectations. We arrived just around midnight and when we walked in, thankfully, the gentleman on duty was ready for us and had all the paperwork and keys ready for us. Very comfortable room at the end of the hall. I loved having the small fridge and microwave. Perfect for evening snacks. The concierge we met on most days was Bonnie, friendly and very helpful, exactly what one would hope for in a concierge. The included breakfast was just what a traveler needs to get going in the morning. The only negative was the scrambled eggs, they were dry and did not taste like real eggs. It was a short walk to the boardwalk where there are some very quaint little shops. Pretty views from the top of the tower. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant attached. We ate there 4 out of the 7 nights we were there. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed our visit thanks to, in large part, our stay at this hotel.

I guess it is partly my fault, I have stayed at many best westerns and they allowed pets, this one doesn't. I was not aware when I booked it and I was turned away at the door even with no other hotels available. I will never ever come here again.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Bathurst. I was incredibly impressed with everyone I encountered during my stay. I had heard about some issues in prior years. I can personally attest that everyone I encountered during my stay--whether the front desk staff, the housecleaning staff, the restaurant/conference staff, maintenance (yes I did have an issue with my room but it was quickly rectified), management, ... everyone--were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in making my stay the best possible. A shout out to the chef who has already done much to improve the quality and service of the food at the hotel but also has many plans to continue to do so in future--he's a find! Thank you all!

Here is a hotel that we tried hard to get into and finally did on line and we were not disappointed we were leary because of the price but it was clean and centrally located and easy to find it included free wifi and breakfast which was great as I said for the price. they have a restaurant on the premises and the service there was A1 and the portions were great. we would highly recommend a stay here.

Best place I've stayed in Bathurst! Clean, modern room, friendly staff. Very easy to get to with ample parking. The restaurant in the same facility is nice so when you arrive you don't have to leave again, your home for the night. The only thing missing was a hot tub in the pool area

I really love the stay at Best Western. When it come to choose a hotel, I never go wrong by choising the Best Western. Really Clean, Nice breakfast and really confortable. The hotel is a very nice location in Bathurst.

Great location and easy to get to from the airport - around 15 minutes. Within easy reach of a few nice bars and also a bar/restaurant on site. Spacious rooms, which are clean, comfortable and to a good standard. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only reason for four rather than five stars is the breakfast. The breakfast choice and standard is good. However, it lacks the green/environmentally friendly aspect. Plastic cutlery and paper plates. Does make it all feel a bit cheap, but also seems very wasteful. Some proper metal cutlery and hard plates would make a big difference.

We recently stayed at the Best Western in Bathurst NB, while visiting family.The Place was centrally located in town to the water front and banks. Place was very clean and comfortable with a small but sufficient breakfast area. Staff were very friendly and check in was quick. We would definitely stay again

This hotel is right downtown, close to waterfront , shopping, restaurants and is a great value for the $ as breakfast included. Staff are friendly...small glitch with power off at checkout, but handled well by staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel!!

If you are travelling to or through Bathurst, NB this is a great hotel to consider. It has a great location and very helpful staff. The breakfasts, while very informal, are well stocked and looked after. The staff were very helpful with questions about what to do in the area.

Our stay at this hotel was a very good experience. The rooms were very well appointed with modern decor and we spent a very enjoyable night here. The bathroom was upgraded to a very high standard....one of the best of our many stays at Best Western Hotels in Canada.

We went to Bathurst for a wedding and this hotel was recommended. Very clean and great service. Location is great and easy to get around town. Would definitely return to this hotel next time we are in New Brunswick. Other family stayed here as well and enjoyed it.

This hotel is very clean and well maintained. They offer a great hot breakfast in the morning. The fitness facility is basic, but they have all you need for a good training. The staff is very friendly and most of them are perfectly blilingual.

We spent several days at the Best Western Plus, Bathurst and it was a very good stay. The hotel reception was helpful and informative, our room was very good and we found the hotel to be on a main street, right in the middle of town. Despite this the hotel was not noisy. Free breakfasts were good, with a good range of choices and drinkable coffee…. We recommend this hotel – also try the restaurant it is also good

The hotel is located very near the waterfront with views of the water from some rooms. It is right on the Main Street of the town and within walking distance of the shops! We totally enjoyed staying here.

The hotel had a nice and calm feeling. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The internet connection in the rooms where horrorabel but the rest was pretty good. The gym was small but had enough equipment to keep me buissie.

I always pick Best Western Plus Bathurst for my visit. The location is great, it is near my office. I always had great service. Breakfast is good and free :) The rooms are big, beds are comfortable and washroom is just what I need. I am recommending this hotel to anyone, either for work or pleasure. Nice pool for the kids and fairly good size gym if you want to pump some biceps :)

Bed was excellent room was awesome, super clean, two televisions quiet free parking close to downtown staff very knowledgeable. Would definitely stay there again. Town had lots of stuff going on the night we were there.

Well this hotel is well located if you must go to Bathurst but that's the only thing positive I have to say. The staff is unprofessional, they barely say hello when you first arrive and just ignore you the rest of the time. They are not helpful and just look like they are hanging out and couldn't care less about you. Also the cleaning lady complains about having to do your room after 11 am, because she's busy "doing the wash". At 150 a night, this is definitely not a good value for the cheap looking rooms and the terrible service.

We had stayed at another Best Western Plus 2 nights prior to this stay and had had a great experience. The previous hotel had set the bar pretty high for a Best Western Plus and so we were very disappointed with this property. The room was clean and satisfactory except for the fact that the drapes did not close and we were located on the first floor. The Continental Breakfast area was small and staff were slow to replenish the food.The pool was small and did not look very clean.

The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. I could not figure out how to use the remote control for the tv. I thought the battery was dead. They should have instructions in the room on how to use the remote (I have never seen one like it!). Breakfast was a huge disappointment for a BW. Cold hard scrambled eggs and cold sausage.

Had a good experience here. The room rate seemed high but I had a comfortable sleep. The whole room was clean, the amenities good and hallways were quiet. Seems like business travellers. Breakfast was modest.

Great place to stay and reasonably priced. Beds were comfortable as were the pillows. Rooms were clean and well appointed. This is our go to hotel when staying in Bathurst. Will stay here again without a doubt.

Even though they were fully booked they helped us find a room in the area. Second night we booked at BEST Western. Comfortable bed ,clean suite,spacious bathroom with a wonderful shower. Breakfast was free!

it is our second stay at the BW Bathurst. It is a very beautiful hotel, with all the amenities we need but not enough staff to deserve us at the hotel. good localisation.. we needed to call the reception it takes a long time .....to have someone answered, sometimes we had to call back. Finally it is a good hotel but they have interest to ameliorate the service at the front desk (missing staff)

We stayed here June 21, 17 on a motorcycle trip. Check in was fairly slow with only one clerk so waited about 20 minutes until finally a second person came out. We got to the room and was very nice. Large open suite with nice sitting area and large shower. It went downhill from this point. The view looks out over a parking lot next door which was not purpose of stay, so not huge deal. The TV didn't work so called the front desk at 845pm. Said would be up shortly to check. I finally unplugged the cable box and reset everything then came on after about half hour. Clerk never did show up or call back to ensure it was fixed. We went to the hotel restaurant for dinner. We both ordered a margarita and the bar tender said he had never made one but would try! He was acting bar tender/waiter for entire place. My girlfriend ordered mussels. He brought out a half of plate saying would bring out the rest once they finished cooking. I ordered steak and cheese flat bread. I requested it come plan with no sauce just steak and cheese. It came out with spicy mayonnaise so had to send back and took another 15-20 minutes to get it back. The margaritas were terrible! Never heard of bartender who couldn't make a common drink like that. I booked the room through hotels.com. They said I'd get receipt under door in morning. We used my girlfriends credit card to secure incidentals at check in. In morning there was no receipt, but I did get an email from hotels.com showing the rooms were charged to my credit card which was used to reserve the rooms. That was fine except the hotel also charged my girlfriends card so double billed us for the night. Not only on our room, but for room friend of ours stayed in as well! I confronted the clerk on duty who said I'd need to contact Hotels.com to fix problem. However, they are the ones to make the charge. Now I've paid an extra $230 and need to fight with them to get it refunded. This was our first time visiting Bathurst. Not many options here, but I'd check them out if coming here before dealing with this type of troubles. They said breakfast was served until 1030. When we got down there at 9 everything was out. The bacon and sausage was gone. The attendant said could cook more sausage if we'd like so she cooked 4 patties for 3 people! There was other stuff like bread and waffle maker, but really wanted some meat as well.

Love this place. The rooms are big and clean. I never heard any noise from outside the room. Most quiet hotel I've stayed at. Service was great. Breakfast included waffles, eggs, beans and continental choices. The pool is great for kids. The exercise room has weights and basic equipment. Already booked our next stay!

The Best Western Plus in Bathurst is a relatively new hotel, right in downtown Bathurst so it is likely one of the best place to stay when visiting the area. What I liked: Friendly check-in agent, very nice and large room, comfortable bed spacious bathroom, stable and reliable wifi. The hotel offers an onsite pool, adequate conference and meeting facilities, a standard and adequate complimentary breakfast. There is also an onsite restaurant with a varied menu and friendly service. Bathurst itself is fairly compact but being in Downtown Bathurst means being fairly close to a few dining options and near the Via Rail train station. It is also relatively close to the airport. What to watch for/could be improved: Onsite gym is fairly basic, but most likely adequate given its fairly light use, rooms appear to have fairly limited view. The room assigned was right above the pool, which was noisy at times during the day. AC/heating unit is through the wall - temperature control was adequate but these units tend to be a bit noisier than central air style system. All in - this is your standard, newer Best Western Plus. It is not luxurious - but everything looks good and you will get a good night of sleep. If in Bathurst, this is the place

The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff are very helpful and smiling. The only complaint I would have is that the internet connection was terrible. We couldn't connect for more than 30 seconds before it would boot us off. We needed to use a computer program for work however it was impossible as it kept kicking us off.

I enjoyed my stay at Best Western Plus in Bathurst. The staff were very courteous and accommodating. The only problem I endured was at check out time. I went to pay the final bill for all the NBAFRC rooms and it took an half hour. The reservations were made in advance under a block of rooms for the NBAFRC so I don't know what happened but it took a long time to get the final amount. Thank you.

The location is right downtown Bathurst so it's great for business travel. We were there for vacation and found it central to get everywhere. Lots of places around to eat and shop, except on a Sunday. Parking is free and we had no trouble finding a spot. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. The room had all the amenities you'd come to expect Staff were friendly and accommodating despite the fact that they seemed understaffed. The free breakfast was great. They had two choice for eggs (scrambled & fried), two choices for meat (sausage & bacon), waffles, plus all the other usual items. It was not at all busy on a Sunday morning at 8:00 PM. The have a gym and a small pool.

First visit to this hotel. Everything you want in a hotel: central location, parking included, breakfast included, on site restaurant, really comfy beds, quiet, clean and very friendly staff! Great job Best Western!

Only issue was housekeeping loud and knocking on my door to clean an hour prior to checkout (twice). I felt rushed and the noise made it difficult to get work done. Front desk staff very accommodating. Restaurant ok...I have Celiac and need GF meal. They tried their best but only one menu optiOn available.

Spent one night at Bathurst BW while in training. As pleased as always with Best Western experience. Compare to this week's experience at similar priced motel (BW was full)...hallway smelled much better at BW.

Staff was friendly, great atmosphere.Check in was fast and efficient. Room was good size as I didn't feel cramped. Bed and pillows were excellent. Complementary breakfast was great and not too busy. They offered a good variety. Would like to see more fresh fruit options. Parking was no hassle.

The staff are friendly, the rooms very comfortable and the restaurant served delicious food. In the heart of the downtown and only a 10 minute drive from the airport. I highly recommend staying here on your business trip or vacation.

Though promised an early check-in, my spouse was given a key into a suite that had yet to be cleaned, with an unmade bed! He waited in the lobby for almost an hour with an apologetic front desk clerk failing to offer an alternate room. Later, an afternoon nap was interrupted by someone trying to get into the room with a key, but luckily the safety latch didn't allow access, though the door was left ajar. After a long meeting, I arrived to use a bathroom that was less than ideal. There was only cold water in the sink (and no plug to pool the water), floor tiles were bulged so the door wouldn't fully open beyond half-way, and the floor tiles snapped loudly when stepped on. The next morning I reported the 'lack of hot water' for showering/sink use & heard a few guests talking about the same experience in the breakfast room (which has a sign stating that food is to be eaten there in that space only... so that taking it to your room is perhaps frowned upon). I couldn't wash my hair in cold water to go out on a November morning. The only good feature was that the breakfast was decent & they'd kept an item we'd left at our previous stay. My last booking was a suite with 2 queen beds with 2 TVs for viewing. Expecting similar, I was disappointed that the King suite only had one TV centred between the couch and bed, making it harder to work quietly at the desk.

Arrived to a very friendly and helpful front desk! Room was a good temperature, very clean, it was all good! Beds were comfy, pillows galore and tv reception good. Included breakfast was awesome! My four year old is always down for waffles so that was easy but my spouse is gluten free so its often we are leaving these places looking for something for her to eat. Not here, there was a good selection of 0% yogurts, eggs, bacon, fruit and the coffee was good! Very attentive friendly staff, kept the place clean and foods well stocked. No issues, will be back when in Bathurst area!

After a long day of travelling and a 5 hour meeting, that pillow top bed was amazing. The room was clean, coffee maker worked well but the extra long pillows and very comfortable bed is what made this a good stay for me.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Bathurst NB. The room was OK, but had no hot water. I asked the front desk staff and they informed me that it has been an issue since January, and they have yet to get it resolved. They said that they have had a couple local plumbers in but have not been able to fix it. 11 months should be ample time to find someone that can.

I was travelling for work and stayed at this hotel 1 night. Prior to my arrival, I contacted the hotel and requested a top floor room, upon check-in my request was not granted. The front desk staff was nice. The room was a good size and clean. The free breakfast was okay. Food options is limited. We ate at the restaurant located in the hotel for lunch and for supper we walked a bit and no luck in finding a restaurant that was close and open except Subway. Good place to stay for 1 night.

Everyone was welcoming! The hotel and the rooms are clean and spacious! The pillows are the BEST ... king size pillows for a king size bed ... somebody gets it! There's actually a plug near the big mirror ... YEAH! Breakfast room is clean and well designed! Timmy's practically across the street for 'my' preferred coffee in the morning! It was a really good experience!

Very nice place and friendly people, I was going to get there late, but my parents were coming out of town early, the staff was going to make sure they were left in when they arrived before me. Very nice gesture. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

Great property and was evident as we drove in. Very nice outdoor appeal.The lobby was very new and modern, nicely furnished.Concierge was friendly and very knowledgeable. Got our room key and were pleased we were on the first floor. The room was grand,roomy and modern. Bathroom was awesome. The shower was grand and so clean. Toiletries were plentiful and good quality. The bed was superb,great night's rest. Thank you. Breakfast was very good,room was large and had a few TVs. waitresses were helpful and courteous. Nice selection of food. We used the laundry room. Clean room, machine and dryer. Folding table available in the room.

I could not be happier! After a total debacle, on MY part, with the reservation, Lacey, on the front desk, took over and fixed everything. Outstanding hospitality! The hotel is clean and comfortable and they have a great food coming out of the kitchen. Couldn't want for more.

Last minute change of plans and we ended up in Bathurst NB for the night. We had such a good experience with the Best Western in Fredericton, we decided we could try this one too. The beds and pillows were comfy and clean, same sterilized remote (thank you) And decorated nicely. The pool is very small, but the temperature of said pool was PERFECT! I appreciated that. The breakfast buffet was good too. It is organized oddly, with things places you wouldn't expect them, but I think it had more to do with space than anything. It just collided with my OCD ways. ;-) Thank you Best western

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western. It Is a fairly new hotel in the middle of downtown Bathurst. The immediate neighborhood that surrounds the hotel is a bit rundown, but we heard there was a nice waterfront area just a few minutes walk away. The staff was very helpful. Our room was comfortable and included a refrigerator and a microwave. We particularly liked the spacious walk-in shower. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was fine - typical BW fare that was enough to get us going each day. They have self-service laundry facilities, which we appreciated. The hotel was full both nights we were there as there was a conference going on, but it was so quiet that you'd never know there were so many guests there. It was a great base for seeing the area.

This is the best hotel in Bathurst. I get to travel to Bathurst for business 5 to 6 times a year and I always end up at the BW for the excellent quality of this hotel. They have everything you need for a comfortable stay !!

The room I was given was very dirty - the carpet was filled with rice-like stuff all over, and yet the cleaning lady couldn't be bothered to vacuum it. When I told the front desk person, she gave me another room but was unconcerned. The second room was fine. This is not my first stay in this hotel; the staff at the front desk is not very cordial, just ok. The breakfast food has poor choices. Just meat and eggs (I eat neither).

Such a nice hotel. The staff went out of their way to provide a gluten free breakfast. Very close to the main square for the summer evenings entertainment. The line dancing demonstrations by the local talented were most entertaining and the band great. The room was modern and comfortable. A highly recommended hotel to stay in.

Downtown hotel. Within 5 km radius of all the necessities. Nice rooms, well maintain, mini frig, microwave, Coffee maker. Pool is more for kids. You cant really do any laps. You are from walking distance to a park and walking trail. Enlist in the reward program to get some benefits. Internet access allows you to get your emails to work in your room. Secured outside parking included in room price.

Awesome stay. Clean, recently renovated, friendly staff, clean pool area, peaceful, great place to land after a long drive. Bed was very comfortable and the restaurant was in the same building. It was good too.

The hotel was very clean. No extra towels/cloths available, The pool was extremely small (very misleading on the website pictures). Staff were very friendly and absolutely bilingual. No true "late checkout" was available (we were "allowed" one extra hour).

Too bad they are not listed yet in the book. This place is exceptionnally neat, clean and well maintained. Very new (2 yrs) you don't expect that kind of hotel when getting to Bathurst (no offense to residents), Beds were very comfy, place very clean, nice indoor pool, and restaurant on-site. Stop there if you go by.

There is a nice big parking lot behind the hotel where we were told to park, however I was not told that there was a fee. It wasn't very much $5 I think but I was irritated that the hotel didn't tell us this. And it's not like it was a busy part of town, the lot was mostly empty in the middle of the summer. I was also irritated about the rate - I had booked the day before with the hotel directly (not a third party) and got a rate that was $20 higher than someone checking in before me as a walk-in. I asked if I could get the same lower rate and she gave it to me but she was not very pleasant about it. Overall the hotel was fine - nice and spacious, comfortable beds, great breakfast.

I would rate this hotel a 4.5 stars if I could. This is a very nice hotel, very clean and modern and free easy parking. The receptionist was excellent with lots of friendly tips for the area. The hot water in the shower seemed minimal, just short of how hot a shower should be. The complimentary breakfast was very good, a lot of hot and cold selections and plenty of tables in the dining area. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed one night. We were greeted by a very nice young women who checked us in quickly. She also recommended a nice restaurant which was within walking distance which we did eat at and it was wonderful. Our room was clean quiet and very comfortable and overlooked the front parking area. Should we visit again we will stay here again.

We stayed at the Best Western for two nights. The rooms were incredibly nice,big and clean. The only drawback was there is only one restaurant near by. Again the rooms were like brand new. The staff was very helpfull.

Room had a large flat screen television. Wifi. A refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Bathroom was big. Nicely decorated. Very clean. Leather furniture. Large wardrobe for hanging clothes. We stopped here for one night on our way up the Eastern coast of New Brunswick. Check-in was a breeze and front desk staff were very helpful in regards to local amenities/directions. Our room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was fresh, plentiful and easily accessible. Very large parking lot. Great rate for a family of four. Highly recommended by us.

We booked this place after an awful night at another hotel. What a pleasant surprise that they let us check in our room early (11am). The service was impeccable! The room is stunningly beautiful, up to date, so so clean, amazingly QUIET and comfortable. We almost missed breakfast as we slept in, our preschooler too! Room a service (I ordered wine) was very fast. Though they only had one type of white and no red, it was still good. The high ceilings even while on the top floor is a big bonus. The shower stall (no bath) is so roomy and the shower head is placed high which is great for tall people. Continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise as it included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and waffles. Delicious! They have a pool and a gym too. We will definitely be coming back!

Great placement in downtown Bathurst, includes a conference center and restaurant/bar "Chaleur". Fish n chips was good, service, alright. The hotel staff were very polite and welcoming. Our room was excellent, exactly what we asked for! Pool was clean and the gym was small but held all the essential equipment that worked as well h2o, tv's with the remotes and cleaning equipment for the apparatuses. Will definitely stay there again !

This very nice new hotel is located downtown Bathurst. Parking was never an issue. Hotel is new and fresh. Cleaning staff is obviously organized. Shared the weekend with a few sports events and was not disturbed. The offered breakfast is very good. Enough to satisfy all. Lots of room for families. Room had Bell ExspressVu on a large flat screen TV. AC was quiet and worked very well. Front desk personnel,especially Bonnie, know what they are doing and resolve issues quickly.

My first visit was after they first opened and everything was excellent, 5 stars. This time we went for lunch. There is ample parking but they were late opening and with only one server who was not totally bilingual. Luckily we knew enough French to fill in the gaps so it was not an issue and she was very friendly. The service was excellent except that when she removed the extra place setting she left it on the table beside us I assume to be used later. This was after she was cleaning behind the bar. She was also very loud. She turned the music up after we came in and we could hear every word she said when she was in the kitchen. It was very odd and felt more like a truck stop than a hotel restaurant. The hotel lobby and restaurant were very clean. I didn't check the washroom. We ordered the clubhouse and cheeseburger plate and both were prepared quickly. I wanted the sandwich which came on a ciabatta bun. When my husband requested a ciabatta for his burger he was told they did not have them anymore. It's still on the menu and she said nothing when I ordered mine. After my husband's question I changed my order. Both orders were about $12. The clubhouse was good and made with chunks of grilled chicken breast. However they used baby greens instead of lettuce and a few of them were rotten. I left them on my plate but the server didn't comment on them. The burger was good but on the salty side. Both came with fries which were the cheap shoestring variety; nothing special. The clubhouse came with a small dish of coleslaw which looked dried and tacky on the surface as if it had been in the fridge for a couple days. I didn't eat it after the first bite since it also tasted like the fridge. I would only recommend this place right now for breakfast if they are open. We went on Friday and they opened at 11 AM. Until I hear they have improved I think I will spend my money elsewhere.

Bathurst is a town which has seen better days but this motel would be top shelf in any setting. The building is attractive from the outside and very well appointed in the public areas. There is an indoor heated swimming pool and a restaurant on the grounds. Our room was very spacious and the beds were among the most comfortable we have ever experienced. Staff was friendly and professional. The Continental Breakfast was very good, with a good variety of choices. The rates were higher than we might have liked but the rate of exchange is favorable right now, which took some of the pain away.

This hotel is located in the old downtown of Bathurst. It offers spacious rooms, free parking and helpful staff. Breakfast is included in the room rate, although the buffet is quite simple. Good value!

Very very comfortable beds in large rooms Nice air conditioning. Good tv selection. Excellent morning coffeemaker in room. Good feeling. Breakfast buffet excellent but the breakfast area a bit crowded not well laid out. No drinks in bar fridge and Bathurst is very "dry" ( wine and beer nowhere convenient) so come prepared. One negative is paper plates and bowls for breakfast. Definitely not appropriate for a good hotel.

Newly renovated hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. The bathroom is beautiful. I only stayed one night, but I wish I would have booked more nights. Overall it was a fantastic experience!

Clean rooms, great welcome and the room came with all that we needed and more. The breakfast was decent, good variety. Really liked the central location, small walk to the promenade, shorts drives to most of the area highlights.

Stayed here with my son and husband while my husband was there for work. We decided to entertain ourselves by heading to the pool, while daddy finished work. The pool is great size for toddlers, but it is desperately dirty, the sides are green. There is a great resturant attached and a great playground/ splashpark nearby. If you never we t near the pool, this would have checked all the boxes. Very comfy room and bed

Came home to Bathurst from Sydney Australia to visit family and friends and to enjoy Hospitality Days. Great rooms, bathrooms are HUGE. The bar staff were attentive and the mussels? AWESOME! I would say that they were short staffed for the amount of people there, but other then that, a great stay!

The good news is that this is a large and modern facility with large and comfortable rooms, well appointed bathrooms, excellent wifi and a pretty good restaurant. Indeed, it is very comfortable. My only disappointment was that, at breakfast, paper plates and plastic cutlery was provided. This is the first hotel or motel I have stayed in where throw away plates and cutlery has been provided. I have probably stayed in over 1,000 properties. I felt this detracted from the experience to a remarkable extent.

Best Western is a clean and well staffed hotel. They rectify any problems quickly and efficiently and their first priority is always the traveler. There is enough to do that you can keep busy admiring the view of Bathurst as the hotel is in the center of town. My family enjoyed our stay and the breakfast option was amazing. Great place to stay. nice and clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay there again if the opportunity presents itself. The staff was great.. The hotel was perfectly situated for my needs. The price of the rooms were comparable to many other hotels in the area.

We checked in very late at around 11:00pm. We encountered a problem that Booking missed sending the 3rd room I reserved. The staff helped to find a room to accommodate us all even they were fully booked.

There are very few places to stay in Bathurst, so we were quite pleased to get a room at the Best Western. It is close to the waterfront, the shops and the few restaurants. Bathurst is a charming community with a wonderful waterfront, nice golf courses,and pleasant people. We thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay.

Double room, away from main street in upper floors. Had all the amenities of a very good chain hotels. Great staff, welcoming, helpful, even managed to confirm a waitlist as completely full. Complementary breakfast was a full one with a variety of options. A busy business hotel with conference facilities

Loved staying here, after an initial mix up with the reservation, front desk staff handled it with professionalism and solved the whole thing. Loved the walk in shower! Breakfast was very good and so had a lot to choose from.

the counter Lady told me I could cancel the night but I had to do it before noon I had to fight over the phone with expedia for an hrs and before I got the right number after 5 difrent numbers that the lady at the counter could not give me and she said she could not help me cancel this night this was cheap shot!!

we always know what to expect from the Best Western chain. The Bathurst location was no different. Clean, comfortably appointed rooms, with all amenities, including a free breakfast, this was one of the better sleeps I've had on this road trip. We would definitely return.

The Best Western Plus Hotel and Suites in Bathurst, NB was very good. It was comfortable and clean and we had a very good dinner (surf and turf) in the hotel restaurant after a long day of driving in the rain from Charlottetown, PEI. We also had a good night's sleep and a good breakfast at the hotel the next day prior to another long day's driving.

Very good place to stay, good hotel with nice facilities. Clean & Comfortable with helpful staff. Very close to the Bay, 5 minutes walk only. Car Park just off the street and easily seen. This is a conference centre also with a reasonable restaurant with fair prices. Would recommend if you are driving the Acadian Route or off to Fundy.

This hotel is good value in a good spot and is an excellent place for business meetings. It boasts a good fitness room and small pool for the kids. The hotel has a convention centre attached which makes it very convenient for meetings. The internet needs a password input every day but is reliable. Even though downtown it is very quiet at night. Fridge, microwave in the room and within walking distance of a good restaurant , Nectars.Rooms were spotless as were common areas. Reception staff were pleasant and professional. Breakfast had some special items added which really added to the enjoyment.Recommended.

Reserved several weeks in advance as i was told a lot of rooms in Bathurst had been already been for the annual Fire Chiefs conference. I Thought it expensive for the area and time of year. Registrtion went well and staff were courteous.. Room size was good and in fairly new condition.Room was very clean. Bathroom room size larger than most and had a high ceiling with attractive tile. Tub had slanted back but was a bit shallow. We ate in the restaurant and despite how busy it was we had good service and meal was good. Wait staff friendly but could have used more support. Despite being fully booked the hotel was quiet and there wasn't any hallway noise.

We really took advantage of the reviews for this place. The clerk was outstanding, room was large, clean, and comfortable. The bed was really great and the pillows hit the spot...best night of sleep so far for me. It was almost like we were the only ones there. The breakfast was great, hot food and the regular, would highly recommend.

Well it is a nice place as far as hotels go. My room smelled. The coffee pot wasn't cleaned out the tub did not drain so I had a little foot soak. Was in a little sketchy part of town but there was a Tim hortons down the road. I would stay here again but if there had been another hotel available I would have stayed there.

The hotel-I booked this hotel to stay and to host my husband's surprise 40th. It was a great location for all the out of town guests, the kids loved the pool and everyone was happy with their accomodations. I had no problem checking in early to help organize everything, it was a nice surprise that they asked how many guests may also arrive early so that they could try and have rooms ready for them. Banquet hall- I can't thank Sandy enough for everything that she did. The party was a huge success and Sandy was there to make sure every detail was attended to. The Food-I did a custom buffet with the entrées being carved roast beef, salmon and pasta. They were all very good! We had more than enough and many guests enjoyed extra portions.

I travel to Bathurst many times a year and usually stay at the very comfortable Comfort Inn. Decided to give the Best Western Plus a shot - bad mistake. My reservation was made directly through the Best Western website. I was given a first floor room, right next to the main entrance from the parking lot. The walls and ceiling are paper thin. I was able to hear every single guest that arrived and left the hotel, not to mention vehicles in the parking lot. The person above me, who was being exceptionally loud, could be heard loud and clear, every footstep was heard. During the 2nd night there was an event in the hotels conference hall, which was adjacent to my room. I was kept awake by loud music for a good part of the night. The bathroom door could not stay open on its own - it had to be propped open by a garbage can - which when I arrived already had some garbage in it. The check in process was fine, however, the person was not all that pleasant. I have stayed at many Best Western hotels- this was the worst. Upon check out I was asked how my stay was, when I mentioned all of the above, plus the fact that I spend at least 20 nights a year in Bathurst and that I would not be returning to this hotel, the response was simply: "I'm sorry to hear that, have a nice day". So therefore, customer service does not really exist either. The only positives that I can say about the hotel is that the bed was comfortable and the choice of tv channels was good. In the end I am very sorry to have tried this hotel and can stay without a doubt I will be returning to the trusted, comfortable, quiet and cheaper Comfort Inn.

I love Bathurst NB, and this hotel is a gem. It is a good location, easy to get to and from the highway. The people who work there are all friendly and helpful. I am an English speaker and everyone was able to speak both English and French, so there were no issues! It was a lovely stay!

I visited the chlaleur restaurant bar for the last time today. I love the food and with the recent change in kitchen staff the food has got even better! Unfortunately they have a great group of waitresses working there with the exception of one particular lady. Each time i visit and this lady is working i get the feeling i am annoying her. This older lady with dark hair is very unpleasant to deal with and she really needs to work on making her customers feel welcome. The other day i visited she was at the bar drunk on wine (i assume she was off the clock ) but still in uniform. Today she was rude to not only myself when i ordered but was very rude to her coworker in front of the whole restaurant. The entire place was uneasy as she discussed what needs to be done in the bar ,loudly in front of everyone .When she could have easily talked to this young lady in the kitchen as to not cause a scene for her customers to watch. I have also seen on facebook that i am not the only one with this opinion towards this waitress. She hurts your business. No matter how good the food .Sadly I will not be returning.

The hotel is new and offers nice rooms with the breakfast .very nice dining area.The personnel was very pleasant .There should be more info and promotion on what to do in downtown Bathurst .Enjoyed our stay.

Good location ... the hotel was very clean and beds are comfortable. The staff was very helpful in directions and recommending restaurants in town. The restaurant staff was very accommodating when needing to borrow different things to help with our in room suppers and tea time. We would definitely return to this Best Western Plus!

This hotel was comfortable - included breakfast was fine. Our issue was that we had to take our showers in cold water, as there was almost no hot water available. At the front desk, the person looked surprised and apologized, although I suspect that we weren't the firsts to complain - many others said at breakfast time that they had no or almost no hot water for their morning shower. Now, if this is a one time technical problem and it has been or will quickly be fixed, then this isn't a major issue. But if the problem is that their hot water system cannot handle peak hours when the hotel is full, then this is a major problem.

Stayed at this hotel over the weekend with my volleyball team and the parents, players and myself were very satisfied with our stay! This is a brand new hotel with great amenities and a friendly staff. If I am in the Bathurst area again, I will definitely come here!

Stayed here for the weekend with son while in town for a tournament. I was actually shocked to see how nice and how well appointed this hotel is. Very clean and modern with great staff and facilities. The pool is small but great for a bunch of 12/13 year olds. As far as value for money goes this has to be just about the best I have experienced anywhere in New Brunswick. If you have business or leisure in Bathurst area there is no better hotel in the area.

I'm not impressed with the management of this property at all. I made an online reservation for the Best Western Plus Bathurst NB through the BestWestern.Com website. Due to a weather forecast that is telling people not to travel on March 25th, I called the hotel to cancel the reservation. They told me that there would still be a charge because the booking was made through Expedia. At no time did I book through Expedia. The confirmation I received does not mention Expedia or an Expedia Partner anywhere. The hotel told me to call Expedia and discuss it with them so I called the number they provided to me. The first person I spoke to said I called the wrong number and there was nothing he could do except transfer me to another number. When I explained to the second person the situation she said she would call the hotel and ask them if they would cancel the booking without penalty. After a couple of minutes on hold, she returned to tell me the hotel was willing to cancel the reservation but they would not waive the cancellation charge. I stay in a number of different hotels throughout the year and I have never had this happen before. Not only are they not willing to help because of the poor travelling conditions, the hotel told me it was Expedia's decision not theirs (Expedia doesn't seem to agree). Also the fact the this seems to be an Expedia booking without me having one item that refers to Expedia gives me doubts about Best Western's online booking system. I guess the next time I have to visit Bathurst I will stay at one of the other hotels and stay far away from the Best Western.

I don't usually give five stars to hotels because most brands will have good service, friendly staff, comfortable, accommodations etc... rarely will they exceed expectations. This is my second time staying here in the past year, they haven't disappointed and they exceed expectations without even knowing it. It's more than just a comfortable environment and feeling when you walk in. Front desk staff is very polite and they actually strike up a conversation with you as opposed to the robotic responses and interaction you receive from other hotels. They are apologetic if they have to quickly tend to a ringing phone and are there to answer all your questions. (Thanks Cynthia!) Rooms: The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, almost with a 'Euro' feel to them. After driving through a snow storm, arriving at this location was more than welcome. I'd definitely return here without hesitation!

Had a great night at Best Western in Bathurst. Restaurant is attached to the hotel. Huge bonus as the weather here sucked and I didn't want to drive anymore having driven almost 6 hours to get there. Nice, nice people. The room was massive and super clean. I would totally go back here if I every go back to Bathurst, though I will fly next time!

From the reception to the beautifully decorated room this hotel surpassed our expectations for $107 (used our CAA card). Location is ideal. Had nachos at hotel restaurant which were awesome, got there at closing time and were able to take it to our room. I highly recommend.

Nice Hotel where the staff is very friendly. What I like the most is the bar/restaurant which is attached to the hotel where you can find a good menu at very competitive price. Large TVs as well for those who likes sport. I recommend this hotel . Located right downtown.

Stayed here a 3 times and every time there seem to be something hapening to make me question if i will return. 1st. Stay-- air conditioner would loudly drip on windows sill outside(minor) 2nd.stay-- they had a restaurant on the premises and waited 15 minutes to get a coffee, understafed, left without eating. Staying on free nights I had to argue with front desk for not paying for lodging fees plus taxes. 3 rd. -- front desk again tried to swindle money when I was staying on points, breakfast buffet area was dirty and missing most of what is regularly available. There was hockey players the prevoius night but they were all gone when i visited the buffet area. It was not the employees fault as she was running between front desk and buffet area.Worst Best Western experience for me.

On 2 different occasions, requested "wake-up" calls. No wake-up calls received. Requested a room with bath when room was booked. They gave me a room with shower only. They advised me that a shuttle service was available, but I was charged a fee of $7.00, for a 2 minute drive. It would have been less by taxi. Most shuttles elsewhere do not charge.

Very comfortable, friendly service and price was reasonable. My kids loved it. Will definitely go back with the family. Restaurants and shopping district very close by. parking was great. No noise. had no problems with Check in and check out.

I am a business traveller that spends approximately 100 nights / year in a hotel. Needs are basic - clean, ac, heat. One week ago, I stayed in a king suite room. After 2 hours of trying to heat the room, I called the front desk whom agreed the heater was not working after checking the system. No heat, -10 c night. Was not offered an extra blanket, or offered to be moved. I wrote a note to the manager as I was surprised to be charged full price and charged for a bottle of water. I have not been contacted by the hotel. This hotel does not honour CPSA discount rates. Disappointing as there are other BW's in the province that cater to travellers.

The hotel is a newer hotel. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms both mine and my business associate were beyond the normal clean! I really appreciate spotless rooms as I spend 160+ nights a year in hotels. We arrived on Jan 12 just before a snowstorm was to hit the area. We decided to eat at the hotel resturant and was pleasantly surprised the food and service were excellent! Good hotel and if in Bathurst I will be at the Best Western.

The staff was very friendly and willing to help satisfy your needs. Rooms and hotel are beautiful, new, well maintained with huge bathrooms. Complimentary breakfast was good. Be SURE to ask when the complimentary breakfast starts and finishes though. 2nd and 3rd floor ice machines were not working. Pool is fairly small. Overall a very nice hotel.

Excellent, friendly staff. They go out of their way to make sure customers are cared for. Staff recognize and make repeat guests feel welcome. The rooms are always clean and I always look forward to the comfortable bed. The rooms have a cozy feel and the hotel is usually quiet. Great facilities for professionals and families.

Was very pleased with my stay at this hotel First time at Bathurst, Best Western. Room was nice and large, bed was really comfortable and clean. Loved the glassed in shower. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were great. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

We have been here for a week and I've never ever seen such good customer service. My friend asked for a fan they send an employee home to get one.last night my son wanted cereal they gave us a 2 litre of milk free they gave us a bigger room at a very good deal...everyone is so nice and want to make your stay as comfy as possible..the service here and the price and the food is highly good..if your looking to bring your family on a nice vacation best western is the place to be..they go out of there way to make sure your happy...I've met the owner she is amazing and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed..we were gona stay 2 days we have been here a week. I wAna say thank you to all the staff because everyone of them have such a nice personality...

This year our family decided to spend our summer vacation in Canada. We searched for an area with nearby beaches and settled on northern New Brunswick. The hotel we booked for a week in late July was the Best Western Plus in Bathurst. While the beaches and the cool weather were a huge disappointment the hotel was not – it was the highlight of our trip. The outside and inside of the hotel building are very attractive. Plenty of parking spaces as well. Everywhere we went in the hotel was very clean and looked great. The staff in the hotel and its restaurant were all very pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Our room was excellent. Beds very comfortable. Really good TV with a large number of channels. Very fancy looking bathroom with a huge shower stall ! This was a great room to relax in. The hotel's one restaurant (called Chaleur) was top notch. It served the best food we ate in the area. (and we tried several nearby restaurants). There were numerous breakfast choices – we tried several and all were very good. Supper choices included a number of very fancy choices which were outstanding. The hotel's location was also a huge plus – it was a 5 minute walk from a big fireworks show we saw one weekend, 5 minute walk from the Promenade Waterfront which has really nice specialty shops including a place that served delicious ice cream treats (we went there several times during the week). A very entertaining Hospitality Days parade passed right in front of the hotel one weekend. A farmer's market was also set up across the street from the hotel one weekend. In addition there was an old car exhibition on the street right in front of the hotel one weekend. The hotel is also located very close to route 134 (a secondary highway that you can take to get to many nearby towns) The hotel has an indoor pool. We did not use it during our stay because on one side of the pool there are large windows facing the street. People walking along the sidewalk can look right in and see hotel guests in their bathing suits. To sum up, the prices of the rooms are very reasonable and are a bargain for what you get. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice, clean hotel located in downtown Bathurst. Staff was very friendly, each floor has convenient guess laundry room, decent restaurant and breakfast is much better than most hotel this class that offers a free Breakfast. Only issue: pool is extremely small.

Very modern hotel with all the amenities you could want. A very modern and clean feel/look. The hotel is centrally located and easy to find - the Parker is around the back and has plenty of room - the attached restaurant is reasonably priced and a great menu and the beds were so very comfortable - usually at a hotel i toss and turn all night.....for this stay i slept like a baby!

Five stars, all the way! Great staff, very clean, zero problems. The breakfast was delicious, too! Our family loved our stay, and we will return on our next family adventure! I highly recommend this hotel if you're planning a stay in the Bathurst area.

Well Best Western Plus Bathurst has done it again they have put on a fantastic Gala to raise money to give back to our very own seniors and sick kids at the hospital They Also gave cookies and hot chocolate at the Santa parade. This is a great hotel that gives back to the community . I would stay at this Hotel anytime!!!!!!

My family and I stayed here one night, as my daughter had a volleyball tournament. The pool was small, but very clean with no strong chlorine smell. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were spacious and clean with modern decor. The hotel front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. One complaint... cold shower in the morning. However the hotel staff apologized and gave me 50% off my room rate (which I thought was very fair).

Nice, new, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Good value. Spacious room, breakfast was okay, lots of choice, though. Located in downtown area. Great place for teams, pool was nice. Stretching the response to meet minimum 200 characters.

First thing check in took twenty minutes and we were the only people at the desk. Our room reservation had been given to someone else as those people had their room given away previously! Clearly there were management and or information system issues and front desk staff were rude. We waited twenty minutes for 2 cleaning staff to finish their current room to which we were assigned and their thoroughness was disappointing. A thick coat of dust along the top of the mirror and headboards, toilet seat was still wet, and we found multiple insects in the room including live flies. Further disappointment yet was the lack of screens on the openable windows thus we couldn't get frsh air. The one redeeming quality was the large glass enclosed shower which was amazing. Later that might we encounters trouble connecting to the free WiFi and contacting front desk by phone was impossible so we went directly to the desk. The staff member appeared to be making a personal call and was irritated with our interruption to her call and dealt with us abruptly. We felt like a bother and nuisance. Better yet the information provided was incorrect and we had to revist the desk and "bother" her some more. Pool appears to be rough painted concrete and is a poor excuse for recreational or fitness use, the fitness room next door is also quite lacking. Given the smaller attraction of traveling to the area, yes they likely would have fewer guests utilising these facilities but never the less the rooms they occupy are small. Breakfast was also lacking. The continental offered had few choices and when we questioned the staff on ingredients (due to allergies) they had no clue. We ate eggs and fruit and could not touch anything else. Overall lacklustre and disappointed. The entire stay left a bad taste in my mouth. Even after contacting the company privately and directly with my complaints I received a standardized reply along the lines of, "I'm disappointed with the staff and how they treated you. We're sorry your stay was disappointing. We'll do better next time."

Staff is excellent, rooms are lovely and the overall experience was very good. I travel a lot for business and would stay here again and again. Nice pool and fitness center and it is well situated in town.

I have been staying at the Best Western Bathurst for about 5 months now every two weeks. Every stay is great and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff is also amazing and I enjoy the food selection.

Everything at this hotel was great except that, when I was checking in, the phone rang, and the attendant made the telephone a priority over the customer in front of him. Stayed on the phone for 5 minutes taking a reservation. That was the only negative. Overall great experience, as usual with a Best Western Hotel.

the staff and facilities make this hotel very good.the staff are polite,helpful,and very friendly,making it a pleasure to deal with them.the breakfast room has a buffet style hot or cold selection.the adjoining restaurant is open for lunch,dinner or just to sit at the bar and have a drink.all the meals i had there were very good,especially the fish and chips,and seafood chowder.there is also a gift shop called a few splinters,andreas novelty sweet shop,a Subway and another restaurant called Phantoms less than 5 minutes walk away.

After travelling for 4 weeks, this hotel was a wonderful find. Clean, quiet & comfortable, best sleep I had on this road trip. If I was coming out this way again I would definitely stay here. Excellent service, they go out of their way to accommodate you. Thank you Kamini & Staff.

On September 25th my son and his beautiful wife held there wedding there. I am very pleased to say the service and food was amazing. They went out of there way to make this night excellent for us. The food was excellent hats off to Mike and his staff thank u so much. The servers and bartenders did a outstanding job. Kamini made sure our ever need was taken care of. Thank u so much for making there night they will never forget.

I did not stay ar the best western in Bathurst nb but ate there as I live in Bathurst. I went for dinner at their chaleur restaurant. My experience the time before that was soo God that I invited a local friend to eat there with me. We both were happy with the combo platter .we both ordered the New York strip steaks. My friends steak was great but mine was horrible. After cutting off nearly 50% of my steak worth of fat I ate the rest of a rather tough piece of meat.. I mentioned it respectfully to the server in hopes that the chef would pay more attention to his cuts of meat.The server returned and told me that the chef agreed with my evaluation of the steak. Nothing was offered in the form apoogy or compensation.and I was charged full price..that left a sour taste in my mouth .

This new hotel is a welcome addition to Bathurst, providing travelers with a great place to stay in an amazing downtown location . The only hotel in town that is not "tired". It has big restaurant but I did not have a chance to try it or the breakfast included in the lobby. Nice, modern, clean, great prices. Awesome and the nicest Best Western I have ever stayed at and I am a BW Platinum member. Great job!

Hotel is only about a year old. Very nicely decorated. Spacious room. Great free hot breakfast. The restaurant serves one of the best mussels I've had thus far. The staff service is superb and friendly. Will be returning.
