Best Western Premier Hotel Dante

The hotel is in a great location. Great restaurants near by. Most sights are walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable. The room is clean with plenty of space. Breakfast is available. We didn't try it but looked delicious. I would stay here again!

Helpful and friendly staff. Kudos to Tomas and Leandro! Locations was excellent with many eateries. I prefer to walk when I travel but it's close to public transportation. Walkable to las ramblas and la Sagrada. Clean and spacious rooms. Nice breakfast buffets.

Loved our stay here! Brilliant staff, good location, spacious rooms and lots of great memories made. We stayed for 4 days and would definitely stay at this hotel again should we ever go to Barcelona again. The weather was perfect for us and there were lots of food places nearby

We stayed three nights at this hotel prior to our cruise. The hotel is centrally located, and easy walking distance to a number of interesting places. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent - friendly and knowledgeable. There are several cafés and restaurants within easy walking distance.

In a city like Barcelona it's not about the room. That being said ours was perfect. We travel a lot and my wife always has work to do. The desk placement and comfort are always an issue but the Hotel Dante hit it out the park. Our view through the balcony was stunning and unique. Try he architecture of the buildings across from us are of course beautiful, that's natural for Barcelona but it's captivating when typing emails and reviewing contracts. The occasional distraction is welcome to escape the mundane. Whether the empty rooms or the drama's playing out in them it's a pleasant place to work and an atmosphere to enjoy. Though we wandered the streets for hours our refuge was a pleasant one and to cap it off the Staff were kind, generous and accommodating. Just an excellent experience and we will definitely return to this property when we return.

Can't recommend this hotel enough. Excellent central location in L'Eixample with pretty much everything within walking distance and close to La Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, Casa Batllo, La Rambla and the Gothic quarter. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and well presented but the real selling point is the staff who are helpful, attentive and really want you to have a fantastic holiday which we did. Will be back.

Was in Barcelona for other reasons, but I needed somewhere to work remotely from and compared to many other Barcelona hotels, this was better priced spot that offered just what I needed to setup my workstations and work remotely the hotel room while being in a great and central location within Barcelona. The room was clean, the staff was very attentive and friendly making my stay that much more enjoyable. I definitely recommend this as a solid choice.

Just back from a 4-Night stay in the Hotel, and glad to report a very favourable experience. Located about a 10' walk to the nearest Metro (Hospital Clinic), it's an easy commute from there to all of Barcelona. Please note, if walking, it will take a good 40' to walk from the Hotel to Place d'Cataluna. There's a convenience store just a 2' walk away, as well as a good selection of Restaurants within easy reach. Rooms very clean and tidy, and Hotel Staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had a Suite on the 7th Floor which has a generous Terrace, as well as a 2nd standard room which has no Terrace, but nevertheless very acceptable. Would recommend the €15 Buffet Breakfast which offers a good selection and sets you up for the day. In summary, great Hotel which I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Excellent room space and cleanliness. Location is okay if your agenda is to be at Exiample which is near the Gay Bars and to Passeig de Gracia shops. Everything is walking but with some patience. I like it's next a convenience store which adds value and it's close to Universitat station where its also walkable to Plaza Catalunya and La Ramblas.

This is a wonderful hotel. We have stayed here twice now and both times we have absolutely LOVED it. There is nothing the staff will not do for you. The reception staff particularly are EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE towards their guests, nothing is too much. Sometimes the reception staff anticipate what you need without you even needing to verbalise it. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you to the staff and management for a second lovely stay and we will be seeing you again next year. I love this place!!

The hotel is super clean and very well located in Barcelona. Walking distance to a lot of great spots. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Although we did not take advantage of the breakfast buffet the food looked great. Would recomend.

The front desk's staffs were kind. We walked to this hotel from the Barcelona Saints Station. It took about 25-30 minuets. Also, we walked to the Sagrada Familier from this hotel. about 30min fun walk. Bathroom has a bathtub!! Yeah!!

Room had windows towards a covered inner court and I had challenges with the room ventilation (esp. over night). Room clean & modern, breakfast OK. But better dine out, for diversity and atmosphere. At the price/night I paid, there are better offers in Barcelona.

We were very pleased to find this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is smaller than some of the other comparable hotels but very tasty. There are plenty of restaurants in a very close proximity and the Sagrada Familia is about a mile and a half away.

The room layout was excellent, really wide and comfortable bed for a single room and the hotel room itself was quite big for a single room. Excellent accommodations. The breakfast variety was good on most days and it's possible to take coffee to go. About 15-20 min walk to the center. Very clean hotel, rooms are cleaned every day.

5 out of 5 from me because the hotel ticks all boxes. Every member of staff are extremely professional and work to a high standard. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast is good and there's a café that on the ground floor that stays open until 11pm who also look after room service which prices are very ready. A very pleasant experience with a lovely calm feeling. I will certainly stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Outstanding Staff , excellent accommodations , couldn't do enough to make a pleasant stay. They assisted us with covid issues and our airline issues that popped up. Please do not hesitate to book this hotel

Beautiful modern equipped hotel in a quiet district with a lot of plenty cafes and restaurants around. The room is quite big and you can sleep well with no screaming people and loud traffic outside. Strongly recommended.

The location is very good, only a few blocks from the subway and passeig de gracia. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Hotel and room was updated and clean. My only complaint was the insulation between rooms was not very good. But the hotel was not full so it wasn't an issue

We had 2 rooms for 7 days at this hotel in mid September. The front desk was very helpful. Pointed us in the right direction when we asked. They helped with suggestions for restaurants and made reservations for us. Helped with bags and arranging a taxi for our trip back to the airport. All very pleasant. The location is fairly convenient to the sights. It is about 6 blocks from La Pedrella/ Casa Milla and the hop on hop off bus stop there. We took quite a few taxis to get around and the most we ever paid was about 15 euros for the 4 of us so good location. Plenty of good restaurants around and a small grocery next door. One room was fairly standard - 2 twin beds, window opening to the inner courtyard, nice bathroom. the other room had a king bed, very nice bathroom, patio with couch and chairs to relax overlooking the city. Very clean. We had an issue with our lock one day and Jorge worked very hard to get it fixed. We were finally able to get in to change clothes before going back out to dinner while he kept working. He eventually had to replace the whole thing. It worked the rest of the time :) We only ate breakfast at the hotel a couple of times. It was pretty standard hotel spread. It was ok but I thought the local restaurants were better and better value. Usually, I tend to avoid staying at chain hotels when I travel in Europe. I enjoy the smaller unique hotels hidden in random spots in a city, but this one worked out great for us. Honestly, I got tired of looking and post-Covid, it is hard to tell what you are really going to get from a website. I had more confidence in going with a brand name this time. I got a good deal and was pleasantly surprised.

We chose this hotel as we are BW members and wanted to try a Premier property. Reception folk were very helpful at check in and we requested a wake up call—just as a back up in case my phone alarm failed. Also asked for a taxi for 3:00 am. Well, no wake up call! So now I'm concerned that maybe they forgot the taxi too? I called the front desk and when they answered, seemed confused and I reaffirmed the necessity of a taxi at 3. So, basically I would say it was a fine place to sleep but I would not recommend for a lengthy stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Barcelona Hotel Dante for four nights (Sept 14-18, 2022 )prior to our cruise ship leaving the port because our AAA Travel agent recommended all Best Western's for European stays, if you want great value at a great location. They were right. The hotel is a $10-15 cab ride from the port and you can easily walk to many attractions and restaurant's. The hop on off bus terminal is a 10-15 min walk from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and the hotel lobby was very comfortable and relaxing. Our room was small, but had 2 large (5 ft tall and 2.5 feet wide) windows that opened to the tree lined street below and there were 2 chairs in that spot to hang out in. It was located right by the elevator, but was quiet and we slept great! We had 2 twin/full beds located right next to each other, so it was like sleeping in a Queen bed, without sharing the covers. Breakfast was a self serve buffet of hot food with more choices that I have ever seen in the US. We never had to wait on the elevators and taxi's roll by every few minutes. Front staff was friendly, informative, helpful, called for a cab when asked and helped us with our bags. Bags are allowed to be stored at the hotel prior to check in. I would stay here again and feel we got our money's worth!

The moment we arrived we knew that this was a different kind of hotel - the desk came out to help us with our bags. That was just the beginning of a wonderful few days in Barcelona. The Breakfast was really good but with this location all you need to do is go outsid eand turn left or right to hit a place to eat or drink

Perfect stay in this pleasant hotel. Area Eixample is full of nice bar's and good restaurants. Room was perfect with good bathroom. Parking garage is under hotel. Shopping area is nearby and easy to reach by bus or foot. Employees at receptionist Denkarbeit very friendly and helpfull. Will certainly come back…

The room is well decorated, clean and comfortable. It is highly recommended to stay that the hotel is very close to the metro that you can visit most of the famous places in Barcelona. There are lots of nice restaurants nearby. I would absolutely stay in this hotel if I visit Barcelona in the future.

Located in central part of Barcelona but little street noise. Lots of nearby restaurants. Front desk staff goes above and beyond to make any visit to Barcelona successful. Breakfast available and good value. Very comfortable bed, air conditioning worked well even during hot part of summer. We would gladly stay here again.

Tomas and Juaquim were welcoming and extremely helpful. They always remembered our names and always provided all of our service requests with a smile! They even lent us a fan from the front desk during the recent heatwave. If you want to stay at a hotel that is clean, professionally staffed, and in the heart of it all, stay here!

Unlike the Hotel Alfa Aeorpuerto nearby, this Best Western is lovely. Clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel. If you want something clean safe & budget friendly for the night this is it.

Staff were all excellent from the receptionists who we very welcoming to the ladies who presented a lovely breakfast. This hotel is non pretentious but simply gives a very clean, well presented place to stay in Barcelona. It is very close to town centre (15 mins walk) , on a bus route with a supermarket ne t door and many decent restaurants nearby. The ladies who presented the very enjoyable buffet breakfast did a great job in restocking repeatedly, clearing tables etc. It is quite a small hotel size wise but one of those gems especially if you book well in advance and secure a decent price.

This hotel was 10/10 superb. All members of staff were incredibly helpful and could not do enough for us to be of help!! The beds are incredibly comfortable, the views are beautiful, the facilities in the room are great. The hotel has lovely character. And the location is SO convenient that we didn't even have to hire a car. I will DEFINITELY be staying at this hotel again!! Loved every single minute of it, and of Barcelona. The hotel was very clean and sanitary. The room was comfortable and quiet. There was a mini fridge, coffee maker and desk. Restaurants, cafes and convenience stores were nearby easily within walking distance. The hotel is located in a very safe area and we had no concerns in this regard.Front desk staff were professional, friendly and helpful answering any questions we had and made recommednations regarding restaurants close by that we could walk to. I would definitely stay here again.

I was here just this last weekend, Mister Juan and all the staff have welcomed us like no one as never done before, I felt like at home every minute I spend there! The room, the area, the breakfast....everything was perfect! My room was awesome at the 3rd floor, with an incredibly large bathroom, the breakfast was simply amazing, with a lot of fresh fruits and a great variety of choice, everything organic, and biologic...unfortunately I have been only for 4 nights, I wish I could spend a week there! I recommend it for who wanna spend some days to refresh his soul and body... The last tip I can give is to book directly on their website, the fare is significantly lower than you can find on the net. Thank you again Best Western Dante!

Everything was perfect except for the one early morning noise. The staff were very polite, especially Tomas because he made us feel very comfortable and welcome when we arrived at the hotel even though we arrived late due to the fact that our flight was delayed. The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable.

Good experience. Got there before check in time, so they stored my bag. My room was right beside the lift. Surprisingly, didn't hear much noise from outside (there was). Room was enough for a solo. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was spacious, though the floor was easily wet from a shower - the glass partition wasn't wide enough to prevent splashing from reaching the floor. Of course, no view from the window but i didn't pick the hotel for its view. Bus H10 stops in front of the hotel, provided you know where to catch this bus lol…

This hotel is a gem!!!! It is easy to find. An easy walk of several blocks from the top of Las Ramblas. We came from the Cruise Port. We arrived well before we expected a room to be ready and we were able to leave our suitcases behind the desk in a safe area and go out and explore. When we arrived back at the hotel a few hours later our room was ready and we had been given an upgrade. The front desk staff were very efficient and welcoming. The room was absolutely spotless. There were all the amenities we needed such as in room coffee maker, fridge, bathrobes and hairdryer. The internet access was very fast for which we were thankful as we had to do self Covid testing on line for our flights home. Great connection and no problems. The breakfast was an extra charge and we chose not to have the hotel breakfast although it was reasonably priced. The cost of the room was exceptionally good considering we were City Centre and staying on a weekend. I would highly recommend this hotel. We really enjoyed it and it's only a walk of several blocks or 15 minutes to get the airport bus. We are walkers so if you aren't into walking then the underground is closer. If ever in Barcelona again I would definitely choose this hotel again! Thanks for the great stay.

It was nice room, nice light inside. Not big bathroom for me, but it's OK. The only thing I have missing is a coffee machine in a room. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast abd very good parking if you are having a car. A good location for walking, not far away from La Rambla.

Stylish hotel in the centre of the city. During our check in we were attended by very nice and helpful person Margarita. She was so amazing and careful for all details. She reserved some city tours and taxi for us. Hotel Dante has attractive decorations inside and our room was impeccably clean. Great job done by housekeeping staff and reception desk. We will come back to this hotel in the future for sure. Highly recommended hotel in great location. Many thanks.

We booked a twin room for an overnight stay. On arrival we were greeted by the receptionist and given our room with no fuss and various things were explained to us regarding the hotel and area, we were also given a detailed map of the city. The room was spacious, extremely clean and had all the usual facilities .We had a view of the main road outside, but there was no noise when the windows were closed, the air conditioning worked very well. The breakfast was a cold buffet and had more than enough of a selection to please all tastes, the waitress met us at the door and advised us to choose a table that suited us. I also noted how clean and bright it was. Each time we returned to the hotel I was acknowledged by name. The area around the hotel is fine and there are at least 8 cafes/restaurants within a 5 minute walk. on checkout I requested a taxi and the reception chap walked straight outside and hailed us one. Would I stay here again? Yes, without a doubt it and will be my hotel whenever I am in Barcelona.

The location is great, there is a grocery store & bus stop a short walk from the hotel. Uber was able to locate us without issue. There are many great restaurants in the area. The breakfast was nice. The hotel was kept tidy. Our somewhat pleasant stay was tainted by not receiving the room we originally booked. Upon arrival, we were told the terrace suite we booked was under construction. We booked this room many months in advance. This was a huge letdown, we would have booked somewhere else if we would have known this. Instead of the beautiful city view we expected, we had a bland view of the interior courtyard wall.

Stayed multiple times, every time get treated more poorly, won't use again. The price has gone up, the treats I get for being a premium hotels.com user have disappeared without warning and every time I get staff that treat me more poorly. Won't use again, rather spend an extra 10 or 20 a night.

If you have status with Best Western and expect things like late checkout forget it. The staff will tell you before it's available, but then on the day request you to check out at the normal time. My advice is to pick the best hotel for your money and not based on your status.

Everything about the hotel is perfect. Staff, rooms, location and value for your price. Breakfast was rich and inexpensive. Closed parking with surveillance adjacent to the reception. Pleasant walking distance from the center.

We had only 1 night in Barcelona and staid in this hotel. Everything was good from check in to check out and we definitely got what we wanted. The staff was extremely polite and professional. Absolutely recommended!

We enjoyed a free upgrade and had an excellent relaxed evening at this hotel. Staff was particularly attentive to our needs such as carpark and some requirements for our young two-year older. We will definitely stay here on our next stay to Barcelona

I was staying with my family of 5 and since we can't all share a room, we got two rooms and they had a door in between them so we could easily move from room to room which was very nice! The rooms were quite spacious and always kept very clean. The location is close to the metro, which is very convenient. The staff are all very friendly and there was quite a good selection of foods for breakfast! Would definitely stay here again! Only complaint was that we could hear the family staying the room quite clearly, but they were quite loud.

To be clear, I have not yet had the opportunity to stay at the Best Western Premier Hotel Dante. I have awarded an Excellent rating to the hotel in recognition of their customer service which exceeded my expectations concerning the full reimbursement of my non-refundable reservation. I had booked a reservation in October 2019 for a stay at the hotel in April 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing travel restrictions, my 4 week trip to Europe was cancelled. While I always take out travel insurance while travelling overseas, my policy excluded cover for pandemics. My bookings for accommodation in France, Italy and Spain were all of a non-refundable type. Fortunately, the hotels in France and Italy were in a position to offer credit vouchers equivalent to the value of my bookings. My contact with Best Western's Customer Service department to enquire about the Premier Hotel Dante's COVID-19 refund policy was not initially positive. The hotel was still assessing the extent of the Spanish lockdown at the time of my enquiry and reminded my my reservation was of a non-refundable type. Subsequent follow-up with Best Western proved a little frustrating with the lack of response to my emails. Fortunately, after reading one of the replies from the hotel in this thread, I emailed the hotel directly. In my email, I mentioned that I had made non-refundable bookings with other hotels in France and Italy and they had all demonstrated good customer service and flexibility by offering a credit voucher for my cancelled stays. Perhaps the Premier Hotel Dante could offer similar? Well, to my absolute surprise and delight, the hotel went one better, and gave me a full cash refund for my booking! I do hope to undertake my 4 week trip to Europe once international travel fully resumes, undertaking the same itinerary as I had originally planned. My credit vouchers with other hotels will most likely constrain me to re-booking with them. While I have no such constraints with the Premier Hotel Dante, I fully intend to book with them for my stay in Barcelona. As far as I am concerned, the hotel reimbursed me in good faith, and I intend to repay them in kind.

We were scheduled to stay there May 29th 2020 one day before a cruise. As we all know with the coronavirus that all cruises and travel to Europe has been canceled . We got a email from Best Western saying that we would get a refund for stay that was prepaid but the hotel in Barcelona declined the refund. I think it is terrible customer service for the name Best Western. I really was not expecting to be denied a refund, especially under these circumstances. We will never consider staying at this hotel when we travel to Barcelona and I put together groups to go on cruises and will never suggest this hotel. I can't help that the cruise line canceled the cruise and there is no travel to Europe. I cant believe Best Western associates itself with owners like this. It gives Best Westen a very bad name

Stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend as a couple. The location is ideal, central and several nearby bus/metro/local train stops which make it very easy to get to, though many of the key places to visit are easily within walking distance. Staff were friendly, the room comfortable and spotlessly clean. We didn't have breakfast included, though it was offered to us at a cheaper rate upon check-in than was offered on booking.com when we made the reservation. My only slight complaint would be that the WiFi connection didn't work with Netflix, though it worked with everything else, that's about as far as I can go on the negatives! Have stayed in Barcelona several times before having previously lived there for a spell and this has been the best hotel experience.

We stayed here as a family of three in January 2020. The staff at this hotel are wonderful, margarita on check in was extremely helpful and efficient. Thomas recommended and booked s restaurant for a birthday meal, and also retrieved a lost scarf from the restaurant the day after when I discovered I'd lost it! Another member of staff picked it up and brought it back for me on his motorbike, so thank you both! The hotel itself is well appointed, a little walk into central Barca and easy access to the metro. The rooms were clean, extremely comfortable beds but every morning we were woken at 5 am when the cleaning starts as we were located near the office and service lift. Not great with a child. The breakfast was a disappointment to be honest. We are not fussy by any means , but the offerings here were very basic. All in all, a fantastic trip to Barcelona, great staff but let down by the noise and the breakfast selection.

We have been staying at this hotel for many years and it only gets better every stay . All the staff are helpful and friendly especially margarita and Thomas who can't do enough for you. The rooms are lovely and have recently been refurbished and the hotel is in a prime location to sight see but far enough away from the hubbub The breakfast is a well presented buffet the lobby bar is great for snacks and if you want a good meal the restaurant across the road Le Romane is excellent .

Excellent staff, great hotel in prime location in Barcelona By far this was the best staff and excellent rooms , compared to other hotels we stayed in our vacation over 4 places in Spain and Portugal. Some of the hotels were bigger brands (includes Marriot.) and size but the service and overall experience at BW was far was the best.

Reception always open. Near an underground station. Possible to walk to the main tourist center (with good walking shoes), calm area. Nice bed. Nice bathroom. But you hear noice from the corridor which was disappointing.

This hotel is horrible! They will give strangers keys to your room! You can get murdered at this hotel! DO NOT STAY AT Best Western Premier Hotel Dante for your own safety! The front desk claimed that they had a power outage. I was also given a card of the person to email after screaming and complaining about what they did. I will screenshot that information and post it as well since you guys want to lie instead of correcting your wrong!

Amazing hotel with very attentive staff. Hotel is walking distance to La Ramblas, Passeig de Gràcia. Rooms were clean and beds soft with nice pillows. Would stay again . Only a small issue at checkout, we had to catch a 8.30 train on Dec 14th and wanted a taxi. Hotel staff just radioed for a cab, without bothering to step outside to check if there were cabs available. We waited a while for this cab and only when I went out to hail one myself did the staff act on it. We barely made it for our 830am train.

Check in was lovely and easy. Got upgraded to the union suite upon arrival which made he trip even more special. Special thanks to Victor (sorry it spelt wrong) he was so polite and caring. Remembered our name each time we walked by and said hello. Welcomed us with a smile each time. Excellent job. Hotel itself is a little outdated, nothing special and very plain. 3* hotel but the customer service is what makes it great. Location is nice. Restaurants within walking distance. Airport bus 10 mins walk. All good, recommend

A wonderful hotel and even more wonderful staff -- extremely modern, beautiful decor and close to center of the city. Shopping, restaurants and the like well within walking distance. Incredibly inexpensive and a gem of a hotel! I would give it a 10 on a scale of 10.

Four story hotel tucked away in the middle of the city of Barcelona.Rooms are very nice,includes breakfast and a multi language staff. Easy to walk for any attractions.five blocks to the hop on and off buses.Good rates as well.

What a wonderful place to stay! The room was a good size. The beds were premium bedding and like being in a resort. The staff was tremendously helpful. They were definitely a 10+. They were helpful in suggestions on where to eat, calling cabs, and helping with the luggage. Loved that they had a luggage hold. This Best Western was within walking distance of the major attractions. Also an easy 8 minutes to the airport. Also a 15 minute cab ride to the cruise terminal. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were amazingly helpful and accommodating! They tried very much to help us and their English was far better than our Spanish! Would 100% recommend this hotel to people visiting Barcelona. Great location and would absolutely stay here again.

Was greeted in french right away and though I'm use to carrying conversations in english in other countries I visit, that gesture shows just how how great a guest carring attitude they have. Property was well maintained, extremely clean and all 5 staff members I spoke to were very polite and professional. Thanks for the great stay !

Arrived early and the very friendly receptionist informed me that my room was ready which was very much appreciated after a long journey. Staff at all times were friendly and helpful with check in and check out fast and efficient. The room was large and had a big comfortable bed.The room was cleaned each day to a very high standard. Good Wifi. The hotel is located near bus stops and a few minutes walk from the metro. Also close by are a number of good restaurants and supermarkets.

Arriving from a transatlantic flight in the late morning, the staff graciously let us check-in early. The room was very clean and we enjoyed a nap on the comfortable bed before we were off and about in Barcelona. The staff were very welcoming and were incredible pointing out on a map places to visit during our stay and things to be aware of as well. It is located in an area with lots of cafes and restaurants and a short walk to the main thoroughfares. We only stayed one night pre-cruise but wished we had arrived a day or two earlier to enjoy this hotel and Barcelona. I highly recommend this hotel and the kindness of their staff.

Excellent reviews are well-deserved. The single twin room is thoughtfully designed with everything you need in a compact space. Very clean. Helpful staff. Have breakfast at the hotel or walk next door for healthy breakfast choices, juices and pastries. We enjoyed both options.

Third time staying at this Hotel. The staff are very efficient, helpful and friendly. Any questions we had about buses, restaurants etc they had the answers. The location was good, walking distance to La Rambla, restaurants. . The breakfast is good.

We chose this hotel based on the fact they offered rooms with three separate beds since we were traveling three of us sisters and wanted our own space. We found the location to be perfect for what we wanted as we did not want to be so close to the main street where it is filled with tourists and impossible to walk around an find a nice lunch or cup of coffee without crowds or tourist pricing. We even had a balcony!!! We easily unloaded the taxi at the street, could wait for a taxi at the street with our luggage without pushing crowds and we really appreciated the fact the staff was always available to help with luggage or advice etc.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The hotel and the rooms were immaculate. I clean with toothbrushes so that's saying a lot! The staff was amazing and went out of their way to accommodate my friend and me. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Dante for 3 days and it was perfect! The room was clean, the service was professional and helpful (the bell person brought our luggage to our room immediately and also helped us get a cab to the airport), and best of all there was a chocolate left on the pillow each day!!! The neighborhood couldn't be better- tons of great places to walk to for food (try Travel & Cake for brunch!) and a 20min walk to La Rambla. Great location for bus service and walkable to the train as well. Overall it was a great stay!

We have one of the rooms on the 7th floor that had a comfortable sitting area on a terrace, plus a study / dining area. It was comfortable and nicely located for our purposes. The protests (manifestaciones) started while we were there. That disrupted our onward journey, but the staff were fantastic, trying to sort out alternative transport arrangements.

Excellent location, many good bars and restraunt in close proximity. Good location for exploring the city. Hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful, room spacious and clean. Stayed for 2 nights pre cruise. Taxi from airport was €40 approx 20 mins. Taxi to port approx 15 mins. Will book again!

Best Western Premier Hotel Dante hotel put my safety at risk! The hotel gave strangers keys to my room. I was in the bathroom naked at 1:30am when strangers entered my room. I had to hide in the bathroom and begged the people to leave my room. Thank God that I was not asleep.

We stayed in the Best Western Premier Dante for 4 nights and it was fantastic. The hotel is rather small, but nice and well located. Most of the main city sites are within 20-30 mins walking distance and there are plenty of public transport options. The stuff couldn't be nicer, probably among the nicest people I've ever encountered when traveling. We got the suite on the top floor which had a beautiful balcony with a great view of the city. The breakfast wasn't included but the buffet is very reasonably priced (9 euro per person) and overall is very nice so we didn't bother to look for alternatives. The decor is showing its age a bit but overall it is still in a good shape and well maintained.

During our stay , we never used public transportation. we just walked everywhere to all major attractions . Nice, clean , spacious room. Restaurant available . English speaking staff. Overall, no complaints.

Overall an efficient experience at the location, clean and friendly and helpful staff, great location, with very close by connecting public transport if required. Definitely a recommended stay overall.

We stayed at the BW Dante for 5 nights. The neighborhood is definitely not a touristy area, but a 10 minute walk gets you to the Passeig Gracia, stores, and metro. Our room, #710, has twin beds, firm mattress with 2 large pillows, hot shower with a tub, safe, fridge (with items to buy). The view is of other buildings and their terraces; very quiet. The breakfast has a variety of items, more than enough to satisfy everyone. To the left of the hotel (upon exiting), is a mini market, to the right is a bank and larger market, Ninot is upstairs, a supermarket is downstairs. The reception desk is very helpful with suggestions of places to eat and directions.

This hotel was exactly what we wanted. The staff were very helpful and even warned us about pick pockets in the area. The breakfast was good and the room modern, clean and well equipped with a nice bathroom. The location is excellent as it is possible to walk to most central parts of the city. We got a bus to Park Guelph which was very easy. Close to La Rambla and Casa Battlia which incidentally is a must see. Plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

This hotel is a perfect location for getting around Barcelona. Room was very modern and had everything we need and was spotlessly clean. Lots of lights and my wife loved doing her make up in the bathroom. I did not really speak to the staff as I did not have much of a reason to however when we checked in I found the receptionist to be very rude. After check in he did not bother to explain anything but just gave us the keys and said the room number. When we asked where the lifts were, he did not even look at us or said anything and just pointed with his fingers in two directions as there were two lifts on both sides of reception area. Me and my wife are both Best Western members and stayed in this hotels all other the world, I used points for this particular reservation and booked a Double room , but for some reason got checked into a Twin room. We were very tired after a long flight and I called reception and requested to be moved to a Double and said that we will wait for new keys to come up, but he made it very difficult and asked us to come down to the desk, like that would have been our problem. That's the only reason I rated the hotel only four star. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this BW for 6 nights. The location is very good, most toerist attractions are within walking distance. The room was a bit small, but very clean, we liked the mattresses very much, I'm a pretty tall person, so the bed was a bit short, but I've that problem in 90% of hotels worldwide. Coffee and tra are available in the room, it's instant coffee, but not bad. There's also a minibar bar and safe in the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could be a bit better, but we found it ok. The ladies who operate the breakfast room are very friendly. They do have a bar/restaurant, but we didn't have the chance to go there, so I can't say anything about the quality. Overall it's very nice, and if we are ever going back to Barcelona, we would definitely stay here again.

I found this to be more of a business hotel rather than a leisire hotel. I was surprised to read the many reviews of the friendly staff, this was not our experience. The staff at the reception didnt really assist much throughout our stay other than check us in and out. We arrived early so had to stow our bags while our room was readied. We decided to head out to explore as we had limited time in Barcelona. We werent really offered anything in terms of maps or guidance regarding how to get around the city, as we had experienced in other hotels in Spain. Later in the stay we also asked for recommendations for restaurants and they couldnt tell us much. The room itself was ok, the bed was comfortable. There is a desk and chair. There was no place to store our bags in the room - no bag stand and the bags couldnt fit in the cupboard, so they had to lie on the floor for the duration of the stay. Since Barcelona was a stop in a much longer trip, we had sizeable suitcases and after a few days everything became a little cramped. There are usb ports at the bedside.The bathroom had a bathtub with a "telephone" shower. Housekeeping was satisfactory. This hotel is in the heart of L'eixample. Its in a very good location with cafes, restaurants and supermarkets with walking distance. There is also atleast 3 bus stops just steps away. The nearest subway is slightly further. Overall its an average hotel, its reasonably priced and served its purpos, but it didnt really add to our overall experience of Barcelona, lucky the city itself is amazing anyways!

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were well furnished and had all the amenities you usually need -- tv, wifi, safe, toiletries, etc. Close to several bus stops and within three blocks of two separate metro stations. Lots of food establishments and supermercats nearby make this a great location. I especially loved the breakfast.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our weeks touring holiday in northern Spain. While the rooms may not be the biggest, they are very well thought out with everything you could need. Our room had carpeted floors, a comfy twin bed, a safe, fridge, ample clothes hanging and storage space, a kettle with complimentary tea and coffee, a desk with a lamp, and no less than 6 plug sockets! Breakfast, which is a buffet style, is served until 10.30am (promptly) in the first floor breakfast room. The selection was good, and is around €9 each. We had a spotlight go in the bathroom which we forgot to mention to the desk on our first morning, we were impressed to see the light was fixed when we returned in the evening, without having to ask. The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout and without exception the staff are very helpful and professional. The only slight issue was with a small amount of traffic noise from the road in front of the hotel, but we're used to traffic so it wasn't a major problem. I'm sure if you made a request at the time of booking you would be able to get a room away from the road. There are plenty of food options within a 5 minute walk of the hotel, and a supermarket a few doors along the road. There is also an underground car park next door. Parking on the road outside seems to be free on a Sunday but you probably won't need a car to get to most of the sights anyway.

This hotel was centrally located to many of Barcelona's must see sites. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. We felt at home here and would highly recommend this hotel to others coming to Barcelona.

This hotel is in a good location and a15 minute walk to Catalunya Plaza. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful!. There are many restaurants in the area and a supermarket next door. We would recommend staying here.

We spent two nights in Barcelona after a cruise and stayed at the Best Western Dante, great hotel for what we needed. Good location, just 4 blocks to the Ramblas and the shopping district. Rooms were clean and modern and the hotel staff were great. The front desk staff helped with all our questions and request during our stay. great experience and would stay there again if we returned to Barcelona.

Location is near tourist sites but it's not in a busy area. Safe to walk to even at night. Hot and cold buffet breakfast price is very reasonable and delicious, with some items changed daily. Room is spacious, clean, comfortable, and updated. Lobby is also clean with free water and sugary treats. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel! However, while in Barcelona, beware of pickpockets and bag thieves. If you fall victim, like what happened to us in a restaurant (not in this hotel), don't even bother to seek assistance from the police on the street. They will just refer you to the police station to file a report with no attempt to recover your lost belongings.

The room was clean and well maintained. The hotel is centeralling located just a short walk to shopping and the tourist bus lines. The staff were helpful, accommodating, professional and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for solo, business or family travel.

Had a very welcoming experience at this hotel. Great room with comfortable bed. Staff was very accommodating to us arriving early, and even though they were not able to check us in when we got there at 10:30. They did hold our luggage for us while we went out for lunch. Once we came back from lunch they had a room ready for us to relax after a long flight.

We recently stayed 2 nights at the best western premier hotel Dante The hotel is located a little way from the main strip of Barcelona but easy to walk ( about 15 mins ) or catch a taxi. The rooms are quite nice and a good size with space for a chair and a desk . Very comfy bed and pillows The bathroom has a separate toilet ( fantastic ) however the shower is over the bath - one of my dislikes. Breakfast was great with a good selection of hot and cold foods available and one of the best selections we have encountered in our European holiday The front desk reception staff were also very helpful and friendly which enhanced our stay. If you are okay with walking to Rambla streets this is a good selection for a hotel with a fantastic Italian restaurant ( Le romane) around the corner

The hotel is a great value for the price. The rooms clean, comfortable bedding, spacious beds and very good A/C. This hotel is approximately five blocks from the hop on hop off bus. Another advantage is a supermarket on the block and easy to get a cab. To reach all major points of interest cost less than €15 in a cab, beach, Camp Nou, Las Ramblas etc.

I stayed in this hotel and found my room fantastic for a solo traveller. It was compact but had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Mini bar, great closet and even an area with desk, chair and computer facilities. The staff were extremely helpful. Located on the same street as La Sagrada Familia, Close enough for a 70 year old (me) to walk to but far enough away to avoid crowds and noise. The Placa de Catalunya (known as heart of the city) was just a leisurely walk away. If I ever return this is my pick of hotel. Reasonably priced too.

Exceptional hotel. Cannot fault standard of room, service or location. Well located near to metro and bus services. We used metro several times to visit attractions (including Nou Camp and and La Sagrada Familia) and bus to get to the beach. Reasonably priced but should have bought multi tickets on reflection! In a good location for restaurants but opted for the buffet breakfast at the hotel for 9 euros each. Good selection of food both hot and cold. Front of staff extremely helpful. Could not have asked for more and will definitely return!

Reserved one night here the night before we boarded a cruise leaving from Barcelona. The accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable . The hotel is located in walking distance of many city sights . The hotel staff were helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet . Great hotel for a quick stay .

I can't say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. Service was impeccable and friendly. The hotel itself is very nice and in a great neighborhood with shops, bars, restaurants in walking distance. I'll be back to Barcelona and stay here. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. Even though the hotel is clean, has a good location and nice rooms, I will advise to be careful while providing the staff with a credit card. This is the only place (every where else we paíd cash) and the next thing we know is that someone is using our credit card to charge movie tickets and purchasing in amazon Spain, all charges originated from Barcelona. Thank God we purchased the internet package in our cruise and we received the credit card alerts that someone was purchasing things using our credit card. We contacted Citibank and cancel the account immediately. We are 100% sure this happen at this hotel and are giving you a warning to be careful while handing your credit card to the staff. Also the maid came in our room twice without first knocking on the door (she was on the rude side). If you have a choice, stay in another hotel. Good luck.

This is not your U.S. Best Western! It is a fabulous “boutique-type” hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean, staff is great. I can't say anything negative about it. It is in a safe neighborhood with some restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again

Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Close to all sites. Offers transportation options and staff was very helpful in providing directions and options for dining. Nice that we could purchase Hop On/Off Bus tickets and other attractions directly from hotel. Female server at breakfast was wonderful, just sorry I don't remember her name. Breakfast was available daily but guests should be informed at check-in of cost. . Scrambled eggs were served daily but were never warm which as very disappointing. Other selections were good. The bar/lounge server was wonderful, he was very friendly and fun to interact with. Would stay there again, no hesitations!

This was our 4th time visiting Barcelona and our first time staying at the Fante. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The buffet breakfast had something for everyone's tastes. We will definitely stay here again.

From the moment we stept into the hotell we were warmed welcomed by Tomas (think that was his name?) and his partner that took care of our bags. Nice and friendly workers that helped us with anything we needed, breakfeast was good with mixed stuff but we eated 2 times there only. Attractions and places like La sagrada, La rambla and Placa catalonia is very close, if you wanna take the metro is just a couple of blocks away, also a taxi is a alternative. The rooms were lovely and very quiet. The management was helpful and spoke good English. The price was very reasonable compared to the hotel just two blocks away. The location is in between the main luxury shopping street and a lovely neighborhood with moderately priced restaurants.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and most of them speak English and Spanish. Hotel room is compact as well as cozy and neat. All amenities were available. They have a breakfast buffet in the morning with a lot of choices. Fairly good price for 11 Euros per person. Great stay at this hotel

Our review starts with a mistake we made. We accidentally booked the Hotel Dante' starting a day before we were actually going to arrive, coming off of a Mediterranean cruise. But we were in town the week before the cruise also, so we drove there to straighten it out. No parking to be seen so I pulled into the drive to their underground garage (completely blocking it) while my wife ran in. Instead, we were greeted in the driveway by the manager, Juaujo Nadal, who saw us pull in and ran out to us - "just park there...no worries". He then said he would happily replace the nights room charge with a free breakfast every day when we came back from the cruise, no problem. But the way we were greeted was amazing. Having never seen us before, we were treated like long lost friends and family. Mr. Nadale and Victor Ausiu had big smiles, warm handshakes, kind words, and "anything at all that we can do to make your stay a good one". So we took our cruise, got back, and arrived back at the Best Western Hotel Dante' about two weeks later. Victor Ausiu and Mr. Nadal remembered us, greeted us with open arms, big smiles, again like returning family, and informed us that in spite of our mistake they had refunded our first nights stay but held our room for us because they knew we were coming in early in the morning and we could go ahead to our room! Oh, and "make sure you go get breakfast this morning"! I do need to add that while I mention only Mr. Nadal and Victor, we treated the same way by all of the staff. Even housekeeping. Carmen and I got into a written note exchange that was really a lot of fun! But I gotta work on my Spanish!! The room was spacious, exceptionally well appointed with a jacuzzi bath, huge shower....the works. It had a huge fully furnished semi-private balcony where I spent most mornings sipping coffee and reading. And the included breakfast had a plethora of breakfast meats, cheeses, eggs, coffee, juices, various breads and sweet rolls...worthy of a five star hotel. They also have a small kitchen and full bar. You gotta try their Brie Burgers (called the Crunchy Burger on their menu). Fantastic! They have servi bars in their rooms but there is a little market in the same block. We just moved some stuff around in the refrigerator and put our own beer and wine in it. Hotel Dante' is just a few blocks from Placa De Gracia, the huge street that is full of shops and restaurants, and there are many, many small and very good restaurants within a five minute walk. The walk to the Hop On - Hop Off is about 10 - 15 minutes. And of course along the way, being two Seattle tourists who get lost easy, we got help from them every step of the way with tour tickets, restaurant choices, and other recommendations. They took care of reservations for us and upon our departure Victor had already called for a cab and it was waiting as we checked out. The kindness and the service cannot be overstated. You can gather that when in Barcelona our hotel of choice will be the Best Western Premier Hotel Dante. I just can't say enough good about them. We tend to be pretty critical of hotels. In fact we had stayed at a different hotel the last time we were there and decided we needed to try something else. We're sure glad we decided on the Hotel Dante'!

After staying at a few hotels before this one, my Barcelona experience was that of hard beds and no sleep because of noise. The Best Western was an amazing experience. Everyone was so pleasant, it is in a great little neighborhood, and the beds were perfect! The décor is beautiful, and I could not have been happier with staying there.

I stayed here June 1-4, 2019. The hotel was immaculate, staff were bilingual and very courteous. Loved the little cafe close, Cubalina for cappuccino. The housekeeping was outstanding, hotel in town and walking distance of shops, food.

The hotel & staff were excellent! The room was very nice with King bed and the most comfortable of any we stayed in while in Spain. The staff was very helpful with maps and directions. We had an unexpected, last minute glitch where we had booked a reservation, but the Best Western was great. We were a 30 minute walk from the Cathedral of Barcelona and only about 15 from Las Ramblas and a Hop On/Hop Off bus.

Ok, so I only put a “very good” rating because I didn't use or see all of the property features. It's been many years since I have been to Europe, perhaps excellent service is common still? I have been based in Canada and I can unequivocally state service, at least in western Canada, ranges from poor to non existent. We pulled into the secured indoor parking and a valet met us straight away. He was beyond polite, efficient and prepared. Magically a porter was summoned and our bags were loaded on a trolley and whisked away. Our check in was smooth and efficient, soon our porter appeared and said he would meet us at our room. All of the people concerned thus far spoke English, which is a blessing to a lingually challenged individual like myself. Our room, while on the smaller side, was was organized, very clean and neat. It has a a small fridge, you just have to ask them to remove the expensive booze from it. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the various back gardens and balconies. The city block is ringed with housing apartments and hotels and a large square in the centre for back yards and laundry. There is also a church with a bell tower. The bell rings to announce each hour, yet the room is soundproof enough to make the melodic bell muffled. A short eight minute casual walk will bring you to the Metro, subway, underground, whatever your native country calls it. Casa de Familia Is three stops down the line.

The front desk staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They gave us excellent tips and advises on what to do in the city including transportations, where to buy tickets, etc. Hotel was very clean as well as the room. Breakfast was really good, we enjoyed it. We had an internal room, the sleep quality was excellent.

I have travelled a lot, however I must recognize that the Hotel Best Western Barcelona, is superb. If you look for cleanliness, super high service, friendly reception, always exceeding the benchmark is this particular hotel. I'm a member of Best Western Hotels, however this hotel is not je best. It's rooms, bathrooms, carpets, curtains, painting, closeness to everything of interest in Barcelona is unique. Thumbs up for you guys.

Very nice hotel, clean and with many services. Good staff, elegant and nice. Good position, not so far from Plaça Catalunya. Room are clean, breakfast is rich and staff is very kind. I reccomend this hotel for a short stay or for a work meeting.

This is located in the heart of the city and convenient for sightseeing around Barcelona. If you like walking, most attractions are within decent walking distance. Also the hotel is very accessible to metro. Hotels in Barcelona tend to be more expensive. Relatively for Barcelona, I got a slightly better price here. The staff are great and the hotel met my expectations. They have a good breakfast spread. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. The Barcelona Sants station is nearby.

I stayed for three nights at Hotel Dante and can easily recommend it for the good price-quality. The room was comfortable and the staff very friendly. Special thanks for the breakfast - excellent variety offered. Passeig de Gracia with its luxury shopping is only 10 minutes walking distance and many major sights such as Sagrada Familia just a couple subway stops away.

Location perfect for closeness to main Gaudi attractions, Passeig de Garciia, Metro and toruist buses, with just a few blocks walk. Good neighborhood. Stayed here on business in November and have to say it was a very enjoyable stay. Couldnt fault the service and rooms. The location was ideal for me as i was working nearly but still in the centre enough for tourists etc. Would definitely stay again

Had a great experience at your hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. We had breakfast every morning at the hotel, truly enjoyed it. The hotel is located at a very convenient location within the city. Public transportation is right outside the door. Metro is very clean and easy to navigate. Had a great time in Barcelona with my daughter, hubby and grand daughter. I highly recommend Best Western .

This hotel was OUTSTANDING. I travel quite a bit and this hotel was one of the best. The rooms were spotless clean, the breakfast was excellent. I was concerned about breakfast based on previous reviews but the selection was very good - there was American, Spanish and Asian selections. All the choices were very good and the price was 10 euros which was a great deal. The location was within walking distance to the majority of sites. The staff, especially Juan Io Nadal (nott sure this is spelled correctly but he's the front desk mgr) was exceptional. He was always willing to help us and we had 14 people in our group. I would stay here again when I go back to Barcelona.

Location a few blocks from Las Ramblas. Nice clean rooms of good size. Bar/cafe in the hotel Best western loyalty program benefits available. The main thing with this hotel is the amazing staff. On arrival they immediately gave out tourist maps, bus schedules and lists of activities. Anything we asked they did promptly with a smile . Highly recommend.

This hotel is in a great location. Just a 15-20 min walk to Las Ramblas. The reception staff were really friendly and happy to help. The rooms were very clean and a good size and layout. I'll definitely stay here again.

Very welcoming and professional people at the Dante hotel Barcelona. Nice to be welcomed like this after a business trip flight. Big bed!! and the breakfast is very good for 10 Euros with a lot of choice and a lot of local Spanish flavours (ham, cheese, chorizo...). And great location as well, with good restaurants around.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful re amenities in the local area. We had a triple room at the back of the hotel. Arrived after dark and were delighted the next morning to find we had a small balcony with table and chairs enabling us to have a coffee or tea in the sunshine. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. We had a safe, fridge, kettle, spacious bathroom with separate loo. Towelling robes, slippers, big basket of every toiletry you'd need. The mini bar, although we didn't make use of it was exceptionally reasonably priced for the standard of the hotel. We only ate breakfast there on our last morning. It was very good value at 10 euros each. Large choice of breakfast items and drinks. The hotel was within a 15 minute walk of Placa Catalunya so great if arriving from the airport via the Aerobus. Really easy to walk to lots of places of interest and plenty of supermarkets and decent restaurants in the vicinity. Can highly recommend and would definitely stay if in Barcelona in the future.

Hotel is walking distance from La Rambla, Rambla de Catalunya, casa Mila and other famous locations. There are good restaurants 5 minutes from hotel, some of them typical Spanish. Very good. Hotel stuff is helpful, willing to meet your expectations and help in organizing whatever is needed. Small bar with very basic selection, but I liked a craft beer. The building is very 80s, and rooms are ok but nothing special. A bit price for what it offers.

Nothing to complain.clean and well-kept.Even in the busy city center of Barcelona,I could sleep well for quite room. Also it is pretty easy to walk to the city center,Passeig de Gracia and plaza Catalina.

My good lady booked this hotel as my 60th birthday treat. Our visit was made even more satisfying as they upgraded us f.o.c. to the top floor suite, with balcony and a jacuzzi big enough to fit 6 people. February is an excellent time to go as they were far from fully booked. This meant that the restaurant at breakfast was never busy. A tip book the breakfast, for 9 Euros you can fill up for the day, much cheaper than buying a coffee etc. when out and about. The is a well appointed hotel as it was only refurbished recently. The staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother. it is situated only a 10 minute stroll from the main square and La Rambla, but far enough away to make it nice and quiet. There are also loads of bars and a huge selection of mid-prices restaurants literally on the doorstep. We cannot recommend this highly enough.

Thanks to the contributors who helped me choose the Dante. I wasn't disappointed. It's a ten minute walk from Metro stations and the area is relaxed. It is about a 25 minute walk to the port, which is no hardship. I was very happy with my room and the staff were excellent, especially Victor at reception. My room did not have any sort of view, so if that matters to you, you may wish to specify what you want.

Great value high quality centrally located hotel close to public transport and some of the many tourist sites, excellent for business use as well as tourism. Rooms of a very high standard breakfast good and staff welcoming and helpful. Would be the first hotel I looked for again in Barcelona.

We stayed as a family of three this January. We were very impressed with the hotel and especially the front of house staff . They were very helpful especially as there was a Taxi strike on the weekend we were in town. Hotel was very central to all sights and lots of shops bars restaurants as soon as you walk out the front. Hotel itself was well looked after and very clean. I'd highly recommend a visit and stay here.

Best Western is situated in a quiet location but only a few minutes walk to city centre. The hotel is clean and the room was very inviting. Junjo and Thomas - the receptionist was very informative and helpful and gave us direction. We did not book breakfast but on arrival we found out that it cost 9Euros.

We stayed at this hotel as we had a day between the time our train arrived at Valencia and our flight to the US left from Barcelona El Prat. Normally, I stay at the Barcelo Sants but I had a poor experience at the Barcelo Santiago at Tenerife that was not addressed by any manager so I'm staying away from Barcelo because I don't think Barcelo has any protocol for handling guest complaints. So I looked around for other brands and was surprised to see a Best Western in the heart of Barcelona for a reasonable price. The stay was great. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, the service was great as a bellhop came to help us with the bags. Checkin was quick, the room was clean, and the hotel is centrally located in Barcelona. Our flight was delayed so we actually ended up getting breakfast at the hotel which was a good deal because it was an all you can eat buffet, with both hot and cold breakfast options (yay hot breakfast), at a reasonable price for Barcelona. Checkout was also quick. All in all a great stay. One small maintenance/design thing I hope they fix is the bathroom door. The handle is very difficult to open if te door is completely closed. So for a few times, we were scared of getting stuck inside the bathroom. But we'll let them know if we see it in another room.

The hotel is very close to where all the action is. It's about a 10-12 mins walk to the most entertaining areas of the city center. Of course for further attractions you take the metro or bus. Metro is located a block right behind the hotel. Also a 5 mins walk to this restaurant Bodega Joan, a must for authentic Paella dish. We stayed for a week and then went to Granada. I think 5-6 days is probably enough to see everything. The hotel itself had a very nice, clean and decent size room. The most important thing to us is friendly, sincere and helpful staff. And they were!! Always welcoming and attentive. If you are going to be out most of the day and want a decent, clean place at a reasonable price and still close to everything. This would be a perfect place.

My husband and I just returned from a 4 night stay at the BW Premier Dante. The service was courteous and very helpful. Always greeted us with a smile. The front desk provided great suggestions on restaurants, tours, etc. The breakfast is a good value, but there are less expensive places close by if you refer. There is also a small grocery store a block away. I was a bit disappoint by the location. So many people comments on how great it was. It was a just bit too far from the center area, for me. (But, I do have a bad ankle - which hinders my ability to walk long distances.) The rooms were clean, quiet and spacious (for European standards). Housekeeping was on top of it. Our room were usually cleaned by 9:30 am. I recommend this hotel - pending you are up for a bit of walk. Side note - taxi from the airport was about $34. It took about a 20 min.

An excellent hotel in a convenient but quiet location. The staff were superb, welcoming on arrival and helpful with advice and guidance throughout. The room was spacious, well-appointed and spotlessly clean. In the area are numerous restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will use the hotel again for our next trip to Barcelona.

A Premium Stay in Barcelona. Hotel is located just 10 mints from Passig de Gracia, a popular shopping street and central location of Barcelona. Room offered to me was nice, clear and quite. Bed was comfortable and washroom was Shining. Hotel staff was quite helpful. Lobby has a bar and a reading room with reasonable connection of books. Free High speed WiFi also available. To me it's simply a recommended place for Barcelona stay.

Spent a couple of nights in this hotel in July 2018 and can unreservedly recommend it. We had a room at the back overlooking a courtyard and other buildings behind the hotel, so it was very quiet. Also no noise from the hallway or other rooms. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. The staff were friendly and efficient and the offerings for the breakfasts were excellent (although we tend to restrict ourselves to cereal and/or toast). The location was excellent for us as we could walk to most places we wanted and the Hop On Hop Off Bus Stop was also nearby. Lots of restaurants nearby within a short walk. We didn't see much nightlife as we were pretty much exhausted after walking and "gawking" all day. The weather at the time was very warm so the air conditioning at the hotel was also very attractive of an evening.

This hotel is centrally located, close to cafes and La Rambla area. The service was excellent! The front desk staff were 5 star! They explained the area to us, where to go where not to go. Gave us safety tips. Showed us around the hotel. The area was safe. This hotel is so classy, modern, comfy, clean. The beds were very comfortable, the room spacious.the bathroom roomy and the robes, very comfy! There were 3 of us and we were very comfortable. They have a restaurant and bar. We can't wait to go back!!

The Best Western Dante is in a great location with 2 metro stops within 4 blocks. Very modern hotel with large rooms and a great bathroom. The breakfast was 1/2 price for hotel guests and served in a beautiful room on the second floor overlooking the street, we were not stuck in a basement room. The staff were very helpful with maps and information. We will stay her next time we are in Barcelona.

We stayed at this hotel before our cruise. The location is downtown close to many historical properties. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast was very nice and provided many choices. We felt safe at this location and ventured out during the evening to have dinner. I think we must have been near a university because of the many students. The street the hotel is on is about a twenty minute walk to Gautis church. This hotel is a good choice for all travellers.

Nice, modern hotel in a reasonable area with plenty of nearby places to eat and only 20 minutes from Catalunya Square. The room was spacious and had a great bathroom and shower area (wet room). Coffee and tea in room and plenty of TV channels as well as a comfortable bed. Small supermarket 2 doors away and large Mercadonna supermarket 5 minutes away.

This hotel was centrally located. Not very large but we were impressed by their staff. They were so welcoming and helpful, Our room was very clean and comfortable. Appreciated that they had a small age and longe area to wait as we got there early. The staff was also helpful with directing us to bus stopsandplaces to dine. We stayed both before and after our cruise.

Very good hotel in barcelona, perfectly located, not in the crowded area but close to a metro station, but also everything in walking distance. The welcome was warm and friendly, got an upgrade at check-in and had a nice sized room on the upper floor to the backside of the hotel, slept with open window, but went to bed late, so it was quiet outside. The room has a goode sized and also the bathroom. The closet is very small, if you stay longer and you like to hang your cloths in it, you will not find enough space. For my weekend trip it was big enough. Had no breakfast included in the room rate, but was no problem to find coffeehouses nearby. The room design is typical for a hotel, i prefer more the modern design, but was ok. Liked the bedsize, was in a twin room and the beds are bigger than normally in hotels in europe. Enjoyed my stay and can recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights while we were in Barcelona. We didn't use public transportation at all except for the Aerobús from airport. Used our legs for most sights and we were able to do it. Segrada is a walk but doable. Hotel is nice and clean and staff cannot do enough for you! Everyone was wonderful. This is a gem of a hotel in Barcelona!

Best Western Premier Hotel Dante @ BCN Pros: ~ Situated very close to the city centre, only 4-5 block to La Rambla / Placa de Cataluyna/Casa Milla/Casa Batllo, which means we walk to these places on each day. ~ A lot of retaurants, cafe, hair saloon, even a Chinese massage shop within 5-10mins (1-2 blocks). A supermarket is also right next ti the hotel. ~ The reception staff are even better than perfect. Extremely sincere, considerate, and informative for whatever asked from any tourists. Their recommendation on routes and meals are never exeggerating and very trust worthy. If any website allow me to rate more than 10 marks over 10, i will do so. They are absolutely fantastic and professional. ~ Rooms are very clean, relatively spacious (in Asian standard), and very user-friendly. There are more than 5 sockets, including at least one with three-leg, i. e. suit a majority of users. ~ Free of charge tea/coffee, water boiler, safe, LED TV. ~ Read from reviews that many hotels/apartments in BCN do not hv air condition. This is not the case in this hotel. There was sufficent air-conditioning in rooms. Cons: ~ Friends and i stayed in 2 rooms for 4 nights, and we could not yet find any problem. But i worry that it may be more and more difficult to book room of the hotel if i tell more. haha. The hospitality and professionalism of the staff deserved all the exceptional comments.

Came in very early from a cruise, the hotel staff were very accommodating providing us with breakfast, information and directions to Barcelona sites. The hotel is close to major attractions such as La Rambla and La Sagrada Familia - 20 minute walk. The hotel was approximately four blocks from the Hop on/Hop Off bus stop which allows access to all of Bareclona's sites. There are a number of great restaurants within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself was clean and well kept, the rooms had all amenities and were very comfortable and quiet. I cannot stress how helpful and welcoming the staff were. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Close to attractions, markets, metro stations and more laid back bars an restaurants this Best Western is a perfect if you don't mind being a short walk from the heart of Barcelona (20 minutes) to Plaza Catalunya. Clean, comfortable and in a safe feeling neighborhood you are sure to get a great night's sleep in their top notch beds.

We stayed at BW Dante for three nights in September 2018. Although we were a bit concerned as to the exact location versus the local sights, we could not have been more surprised and very pleased. Their website says it all. Close to all sights and amenities and walking distance to most major sights (or a short taxi ride away). We had a beautiful room overlooking Tibidabo cathedral in the distance and we also had a balcony overlooking a quiet square. We can't say enough about the front desk staff - Margarita, Tomas, JuanJo, Javier, Antonio, and Ramon. They even booked our tickets for the Hop on Hop Off bus and got us the seniors discount. They recommended us to great restaurants on Rambla Catalunya (one block west of Passieg de Gracias) where we enjoyed the food and people watching. There was also a great little grocery store 2 doors down from the hotel where we could purchase snacks and wine. Great hotel, great staff and great location. Can't wait to return next year.

We were in a self catered flat down the road from the best western but we were disturbed in our first two nights by loud music and jumping around above so we left and came down the road and were warmly welcomed by the staff!

This hotel exceeded my expectation from the first day till the end of my vacation. The staff were exemplary and really cared for me during my whole stay. From frustrated to being extremely satisfied. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Staff was very helpful while we were there during the taxi strike and helped us get a ride to the airport! Accommodations were wonderful, clean and comfortable ! We stayed in the family suite which was two adjoining rooms so there was plenty of space for two adults and two teens.

The three of us spent two nights at the hotel. We booked a room for three people and were told we would have two beds. The second bed was not a bed but a pull out chair that was made into a bed. They had arranged the rest of the room for three but the pull-out-chair bed was not what we expected or wanted. The hotel staff at the front desk were efficient and capable but not exactly friendly. The hotel was in a good location close to restaurants and not too long of a walk to the more touristy areas of town. Overall it was a good experience, but I would not consider it to be a four star hotel.

First of all I have to say that we got a very nice surprise when checking in the first late evening; instead of the double room which we had booked, we got upgraded to a junior svit for our whole stay! This made our vacation and stay/experience at the hotel so much better. Very greatful for this, the room overall was lovely, especially the balcony! There are some plus and minus with this hotel. PLUS: - Location is pretty good, to the ramblas street about 10min walk. - A few very good restaurants close by. - Junior Svit room was lovely, especially the balcony. - The front desk staff was polite and offered help with things like sightseeings etc. and information when arriving to the hotel. - Asked for a lower pillow and they got me one. - Fresh water and apples for quests, every day in the main hall. - The hotel is clean and looks nice overall. - Newspapers in main hall. - The fresh pressed juice at the breakfast. - Bathrobes and other small helpkits in the bathroom. - Cleaning service very nice everyday except for Sunday. MINUSES: - Breakfast ok but too small for the price. - Pillows horrible, my neck hurt so much after the first night. - Evening lobby too small. - The hotel´s food was not good at all, tried the hamburger but unfortunately it tasted awful. - Cleaning service on Sunday was not good at all; not cleaned very well and also took all our glasses and coffee cups, which we had to ask for to get new ones. - The TV remote control didnt always work properly. - Bad WIFI, which is a important thing when staying at a hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. The location is good, close walking distance to many of Barcelona's main shopping and dining locations. The hotel is over-priced. No free breakfast, but very expensive 18 euro p.p. The air-conditioning in the rooms are poor, they do not cool the room and the housekeeper doesn't help by turning the room temp. up when you are trying to keep it cool. The pillows were horrible, flat and no foam, we had to request more pillows. The bathroom has a nice shower with good water pressure but no where to hang wet towels. There is one small bar of soap and a small box with only five tissues. The hallways are hot and waiting for the two very slow elevators is frustrating. The room was clean and except for the bad pillows, the beds were comfortable.

We only had 1 night in Barcelona at this hotel after our Princess Cruise. The front desk attendants were really very helpful and made good suggestions for places to eat and tours that would be convenient for our group. They were also good about warning each person checking in about the safety of watching their belongings because of the pick-pocketing and theft problem they seem to be experiencing in many places in Europe. The rooms were clean. The elevators were small, so it's best to pack light so you can carry up your things. Otherwise you may wait or take multiple trips to bring all your group's luggage to your rooms. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was in a pretty convenient location and we were able to walk only a few short blocks to catch the Hop On Hop Off Bus tour. We felt safe in the hotel area and could walk to the nearby church for Sunday mass and also to the local bakery for some fresh bread.

Great customer service, very clean hotel, friendly staff and nice selections for breakfast. They have free water and fruits in the lobby. And they surprised me with a caramel popcorn for my birthday! So nice! We stayed for a total of 8 nights! We rented a bike and parked it in front of the hotel. Location was great because it's close to restaurants where locals go! 25 mins. It was not pricey compare to those restaurants in Las Ramblas location! And I think food was better near this hotel. This hotel was only 25 mins. walk to Plaza Catalunya! Sometimes WIFI doesn't work. Hopefully they can improve that. But other than that we enjoyed our stay here. I would definitely recommend this to my friends!!!

Hotel was nice and in a great location. The rooms are pretty small but the beds are comfortable. I am giving this hotel 3 stars due to the customer service. As the highest rewards member status (Diamond Select) I had to remind the front desk staff of my status level. I also had to remind them that I was supposed to receive a welcome gift and or bonus points. No room upgraded was discussed. I inquired about it and was told there wasn't one available (understandable). However, as a Diamond Select I feel something else like breakfast could've been offered. The internet was extremely slow. It was faster for me to use my phone data. We ordered drinks from room service and it took about 30 minutes to get them. Other than that nice hotel.

AT expensive city, price is reasonable and equipped with needed to the hotels. 10 minutes walk from subway station and a big super market is located near the station. Possible to find a restaurant of your choice by asking to a hotel's staff.

This was our second stay at this hotel and since our initial stay has had a very benefical upgrade. Staff still one best who operate this hotel as nothing is a trouble to them. Hotel well situated in Barcelona close enough to all famous attractions and excellent small cafes and restaurants. Rooms are made up each day with fresh linen and towels and if you leave som,e toiletries at home then the hotel will gladly supply. The wifi is free and works exceptionally well. Recomend this great hotel!

We spent 4 nights in this hotel this past week. It was wonderful. Checked all of our boxes - it's in a great location, incredibly clean, super friendly staff, biggest towels I've ever seen, hot water, great water pressure, rooms were quiet, and we slept perfectly in very comfortable beds. If we ever return to Barcelona this is definitely the hotel we will return to.

I am an older woman traveling alone in Europe who had never been to Barcelona before and knew nothing about the city. I did a lot of research online before I left the States and chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced, highly rated and close to many of the sites I wanted to visit. I stayed for 5 nights and found my room clean, comfortable and very nice, the staff extremely helpful, and the location couldn't have been better. It was in a safe, quiet area within a 15 minute stroll to Placa Catalunya, Las Ramblas, the La Pedrera and all the stores on the Passeig de Gràcia. Also, the breakfast buffet and wifi service were very good. I would highly recommend the Hotel Dante to anyone visiting Barcelona.

We recommend Hotel Dante for it's great location, good breakfast buffet and helpful employees. Close to tourist and historical sites and the central shopping areas. Reception employees were very helpful with information we needed to get around the city and our train trip to Monserrat Monastery. Our room was a nice size, comfortable bed, balcony and great wi-fin service.

We stayed here for 3 nights, in a king bed suite. The staff was phenomenal, they answered all our questions, made great recommendations, and were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and we even had a choice of firm or soft pillows. The staff was apologetic that our room was not ready when we arrived 4 hours before check in, even though we knew that would be the case because of when our flight arrived. They held our bags in a secured location while we went out exploring until we were able to check in. They also made us copies of important documents that we needed, and supplied us with valuable information about what kinds of scams are popular at the time on the streets. The location is very good, not a far walk to the major sites you want to see while in Barcelona, and nearby local transportation. All in all it was a wonderful experience staying at best western premier hotel Dante. I would definitely recommend it.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, easy to acces the whole touristic sights. They deserve the four star rating, as the hotel appearence is fantastic. The lobby, the breakfast, the room, the bathroom, the bed with its confy matress are absolutely great. Healthy breakfast, with a diverse range of products. Professional, responsive and highly trained staff. We would definately return and we recommend this hotel to others.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay tremendously. The hotel is very ,very, clean...spacious, and extremely cozy and close to restaurants, hop on and hop off buses, Las Ramblas, etc. What makes the hotel is it's friendly and extremely helpful staff ,always patient, polite, and knowledgeable....the staff is the best ! There is always fresh apples and water in the lobby everyday. I would recommend this hotel to anybody, anyday!

Great location in L'Eixample. Close to many restaurants and shops and also on a quiet street. The rooms were clean and nice and had a good sized bathroom. Beds were also pretty comfortable. I have to also say the staff were excellent (especially Anna at the cafe inside the hotel). She was fantastic! Overall a positive experience!

I stayed here one night pre-cruise. I don't speak any Spanish but the staff spoke very good English and was able to help me with all my questions - including telling me where a specific banks ATM was (my US banks partner), where to go grab a bite to eat and they secured private transfer for me to the cruise port the next morning. I also enjoyed a nice glass of wine in the lounge and the bar tender was nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Room was comfortable and larger than expected. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again if I am in Barcelona.

I will start off by saying this is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good. The issue I have is the WiFi. Don't think you will be able to do any kind of work here. It spotty and slow. It was actually pretty bad to try and find a simple restaurant. The staff was friendly

Fantastic friendly, helpful staff. Hotel in nice location with restaurants/bars/supermarkets close by. Approx 10-15 minutes walk to Placa Catalunya and 30-40 minutes walk to Sagrada Familia - otherwise taxis easy to get as there is a taxi stand opposite the hotel.

Wonderful experience in this lovely hotel with helpful smiling staff. Check in was a breeze and the rooms are spacious, with cozy beds and warm lighting. Even though I had an early morning check out, at 3am, there was a helpful staff with a cup of coffee at the check out desk. Lovely service

Every single experience we had with this property was great. Great staff, very helpful adn considerate. Doorman makes you aware of thieves operating in Barcelona and asks you to be safe, great rooms with a lot of character, modern rooms. We asked for a baby cot in the room and we got one of their triple rooms (Room 714). Daughter absolutely loved the room. People would usually like their room to overlook gardens etc but we wanted our daughter's bed to be in a room where we can have darkness so she sleeps better. It was perfect, blackout curtains means you can sleep better in the room. comfortable beds and great quality breakfast. Overall, a first class experience. The only negative for me was the quality of the internet. Wi-fi was temperamental and not great. I appreciate it was free but I would be happy to pay a nominal fee if I could get a better quality internet experience. It will really make a huge difference. Otherwise, no complaints - book with confidence.

Beautiful view of the street from our room, very comfortable bright and roomy ,we stayed there for 10 nights, it felt like a little studio Appartment with all the comfort of home. The staff was extremely helpful and the location was perfect,walking distance to Metro and center. We will defiantly use it again . We highly recomand this hotel.

The hotel is quite central and vey clean . Very near city centre and tourist buses. Many restaurants around. Went there for my Birthday with my wife really enjoyed the stay. Well worth the price. Barcelona is a beautiful city. Football is a religion!!!' We went there over Easter.

The hotel Dante was lovely - clean, comfortable and with friendly, helpful staff. The beds were great and it made an excellent base. The hotel is located a little away from the centre of the tourist area so be aware particularly if you have younger children. We did not have the breakfast, which at €13 euros a head (if you prebook, 16 if not) is really pricey. There are good cafes all over the place where we breakfasted for €20 for the four of us. There are a number of great, affordable, local restaurants and a supermarket next door. We had a fantastic family break.

This place is close to all!. The service is great. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. Everything you'll need is in a couple of foot steps away. The balconies are a plus. Overall i enjoyed my stay.

Stayed here for a few nights in late March, so still rather chilly with no sense of how the room would fare in hotter weather. That said, the room was nice and while we did little more than return to sleep, it met our needs. Clean and quiet. Didn't bother with the breakfast, had €16 per person it seemed too steep. There's a supermarket right next door for quick snacks and drinks. As one who likes to walk and use public transit in cities, this place was obnoxiously off the beaten path. The right bus, subway, or ride from the airport always seemed to be about 5 blocks away. Not a huge deal, but the quietness of the room means it's a bit farther than I'd have liked to many points of interest.

We loved our stay. Excellent service and all the staff speak English. The rooms were clean and good location and only walking distance from everything. Breakfast was good size and beds were comfortable.

Stayed here on our 10th wedding anniversary trip and enjoyed every minute. We have visited BW Premier properties in Europe and have yet to be disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms impeccably clean, and the decor stylish and modern. The location is central to all the “must see” spots. Will definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Premier Hotel Dante and was very impressed. I stayed at the hotel for ten nights and although the walls were a bit thin (earplugs help) my hotel stay was very enjoyable. Our first room at the Best Western Premier Hotel Dante was a little small and would have been okay if we were staying only a couple of days, but as we had an extended stay, we asked if we could move to a larger room. The staff was very accommodating, and although there was nothing available that day, we were moved when something opened up the very next day. Breakfast was included in our booking, and the buffet had an adequate selection of items. There are many restaurants in the area, but I enjoyed the ease and proximity of the hotel breakfast. The hotel room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom and separate shower area were well stocked and also clean. We had a small balcony and sofa bed and a mini fridge to store some food we purchased at the little grocery beside the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of many local sites, my mother who is a very young 80 years had no problem with the distances from the hotel to the various sites. However, if the site is a little further out, transit is located just out front of the hotel. The hotel staff can help with transit information. We purchased a ten trip transit pass at the tobacco shop on the corner from our hotel (2 min walk) it saved the hassle of buying a ticket for each passenger and leg of the trip. The Best Western Premier Hotel Dante is a reasonably priced hotel with the comforts of some higher end hotels in the area, but the truly outstanding customer service of the front end staff at this hotel sets it apart from the others. The team went over and above to ensure our stay was comfortable and were always on hand to assist with questions, directions, computer help, room change assistance and the list goes on. I do not think I have ever had such attentive and helpful front desk assistance. Truly extraordinary !!

My friends and I came into town for the weekend and this was the perfect place to stay. It's in a great area of the city and the price was just what we needed. The room was what you'd expect and nothing to complain there. The only thing that could have been better was the lobby bar. Other than that a great experience!

This is a great 4 star hotel, the beds are extra comfortable, the room was spotless and nice touch of free apples and water in reception. We were offered breakfast at a discount of €13 (€3 saving) for the two nights we booked, so we went for it. Day one we had what I can only say was a real disappointment breakfast - cold eggs, cold bacon in a boiling hot room (the room was warmer than cooked food!) we therefore after this disaster decided to cancel the second breakfast, but when we did they had the cheek to try to charge us the €16 rate for the rubbish breakfast that we had area day had! They wanted us to pay €3 more for a breakfast that we complained about ! Oh and they told us that the breakfast is the best thing about the hotel! The rest of the hotel makes up for it though.

Had a great stay in this hotel. We were able to check in early in the morning which was great with the jet lag at no extra cost. It was in a great location and was easy to walk to things. Rooms were clean and nice. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Barcelona.

This hotel was neither good or bad. Customer service is decent but not what you expect from a premier best western hotel. Location is reasonable but there are plenty of other hotels closer to the “action”. Their prices is what made me stay here but I might explore other places next time.

We stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. We let the hotel know it was for a special occasion and they gave us room 505 which overlooks the street but it still quiet. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to Passeig de Gracia and there are a huge number of great restaurants and bars within 200 metres. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and we can recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good base to explore Barcelona.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, our room was located on the 6th floor. We had a room facing the front of the hotel however we couldn't hear much noise and it didn't affect our sleep. The room had a kettle and tea and coffee although we didn't use this. The room was very clean and we had a comfortable stay. The bed was huge and the shower was very powerful and didn't leak anywhere. Toiletries were also provided in the room. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. There was only 1 English TV channel. The location of the hotel is excellent, there are lots of shops, restaurants, bus stops and a train station within walking distance.

The hotel fulfilled my expectations. The people were very friendly and gave my very good advice about places to visit. The room was very clean comfortable with a large lcd tv . The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of nice bars and restaurants in walking distance.

Great room, most staff & location, but extremely thin walls. Woken up very early just from child talking in Room next door. I knew the hotel was at low capacity (early January ) so I asked the woman at the desk why they would put people in adjoining rooms when not busy. She said the people in the room next to us were checking out that day. So if they know the walls are thin, why did they then book people into rooms on BOTH sides of us! Young women giggling for hours one night, yacking til 1:30 am the next. Could hear every word spoken in the other room (glad I didn't understand, people deserve privacy. ) I struggled about whether to give this place a 3 or 4 rating, but location & the beautiful sunny days won me over.

Enjoyed our four night stay. Excellent service, nice clean hotel, a few blocks from La Ramblas Delicious apples available or time of day in the lobby at no cost. Hotel staff very friendly And very helpful. Most speak very good English. My wallet was stolen elsewhere, hotel staff more than helpful in excepting a call from the metro lost and found where returned up, and assisted me tremendously in getting back the entire contents of my wife (but of course, not the money, which was gone by the time we got to the metro lost and found) With excellent service

Picked this hotel for proximity to the cruise terminal for our Transatlantic cruise and the Sagrada Familia Basilica. It was located in a quiet part of the city. Service was excellent from check-in to checkout with a complimentary apple and bottle of water as you walked in. We visited the Basilica which was a half hour easy walk straight along the same street as the hotel. Other than the breakfast buffet which I feel pricey considering the limited menu it was an excellent choice for a short stay.

My family & I, a group of 8, stayed in 2 triple rooms & 1 double room in December 2017. The hotel staff, Javier & Margarita were amazingly helpful with all our enquiries, helping us to book tickets and make transport arrangements for a Flamenco show & a FCB football match. They also helped with all our transfers to and from the airport and cruise terminal. The hotel was super clean & comfortable and the room was spacious enough even with the spare bed. Breakfast was great with really good coffee (important for me!) and the location of the hotel was central enough to walk to the central plaza (Placa de Catalunya) in 15-20 minutes, or a nearby metro station in 8-10 min. At the end of the day, it was the people who truly made our stay outstanding & I'd highly recommend staying here when you visit BCN!

My wife and I loved this hotel. It is a beautiful hotel and we found that it is located at a perfect location. We loved just waking around the streets to see al kinds of beautiful buildings. from the hotel you can quicly reach all major attractions. The rooms were comfartable and spacious. We found that the staff was very helpful and always really friendly.

The room was confortable, nicely equipped. It looks new. Despite the fact that our room was just in front of the elevator, we never heard any noise. The employees we met during our stay were very courteous and professionnal. We did not took the breakfast in the hotel, but we went there to have a look: big choise! We were very happy of the price / service ratio.

This is a very comfortable hotel located conveniently in a stylish residential neighborhood of Barcelona. Lobby area is light and bright and front desk staff is also courteous and welcoming. I was given a large corner room – not the most modern or updated, but with coffeemaker and larger refrigerator. Room needs a better seating area (a more comfortable chair). Bathroom is redone nicely, extensive bathroom supplies and waterfall shower. Housekeeping service is exceptional. Always available, unobtrusive, thorough, and consistently kept the room fresh. Bar staff also good – knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel is quite convenient. A fantastic supermarket is located two doors away and is open until midnight. Two bus stops, including one that goes directly to Las Ramblas and the waterfront, are outside the front door. There are dozens of restaurants, cafes, and shops in the neighborhood. In summer, several other hotels in the area have rooftop pools and bars overlooking Barcelona; on a hot summer day these are comfortable and not something you find in the Hotel Dante. In cooler weather however this place cannot be beat.

professional and helpful staffs. really liked the idea of them giving free water and apples in the lobby. location is good and buses goes to most places. i stayed in a single room. bed and pillow was comfy enough for me. TV with enough channels to keep me entertain while i was in the room. toilet was nice and loved the bath robe but would have loved a bath tub. had an unfortunate blackout 1 morning and was resolved pretty quickly. disrupted my sleep a bit. didn't offer me a free breakfast for my inconvenience though...

We spent 5 days at the hotel in what is a charming, laid-back part of Barcelona, about a 15 minute walk from Las Ramblas. I am a Premium Member of the Best Western chain and was not disappointed. The room had all the modern conveniences one would expect (safe, refrigerator, very attractive comfortable and modern furniture and it was well stocked with the usual toiletries). My favourite part of the room was that it had a huge window that opened for fresh air and even though we were on the street side, the traffic noise was not a nuisance on our upper floor. One slight discomfort...the toilet was located awkwardly in a corner facing a close wall and it required some agility to use it, even though I am of average height and weight. The room was not available when we arrived, but the staff offered a professional greeting and stored our luggage for a few hours. The lobby is bright, welcoming and has complementary water and snacks and has a very good washroom. The price was reasonable for the time of year and the fact that it is close enough (about a 10 minute walk) to the metro. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area to choose from in the evening, so you do not have to wander far after a long day of sight-seeing. It is close enough to Sants train station for a short taxi ride though it is quite a walk (at least 30 minutes) on foot. We did not avail ourselves of the breakfast. The price was high and there were many small authentic restaurants in the area which were cheaper and more interesting. There is a wonderful large fresh market about three blocks towards the station and a small grocery store right next door to the hotel. This would perhaps not be a good option for someone with mobility issues who wanted to be close to the action, but it proved to be perfect for us who enjoy walking and soaking up the local not-so-touristy atmosphere.

To level set the review - my wife and I generally stay at good quality mid-range hotels in the US when we travel. We found this to be a very good property that met all our needs and expectations and would recommend it to others. Based on this experience we would not hesitate at all stay there again on our next visit. We were on a prepaid trip - so there is always slight concern with what you may get verse the promise, but this was exactly as advertised and was perfect for a our short two night stay. We needed a triple and the room worked out very well - two singles (arranged as a king) and a fold out chair/bed for the third. Not a huge room but fully sufficient for 3 adults. The room and furnishings were VERY clean and it was both odor free and quiet. The staff was very friendly and easily dealt with our margin knowledge of the Catalan/Spanish languages. The location is well positioned on both a major N/S V13 and E/W H10 bus routes. It is an easy and safe short walk to Plaça de Catalunya, Passieg de Garcia, and La Rambla from this hotel. It is also a short bus / cab ride to Sants Estancia. Like much of the Eixample neighborhood the hotels block is a great mix of things with local shops, a bank across the corner, a market a block away, a sandwich shop right next door, and several good moderately priced restaurants and bars in the general area. We did not use the lobby bar / breakfast restaurant but it certainly looked more than adequate for those who go that route.

We stayed here for two nights. The location is great for us. We use mytaxi app to call cab/taxi to our location, which is not too far away from hotel. The room is clean, great bed and pillows. Great minibar, clean bathroom with separate shower area, and a small balcony in our 3 people with sofa bed on 6th floor. Staff is friendly when we arrived early. We were able to check-in one room but another. We just leave our luggage in another room and venture out. Hotel has a lounge and breakfast restaurant, we didn't use any of those. Hotel lobby offers water and apple for guest. There is a cafe around the corner on the right. A restaurant/bar serve great tapas if you turn left from the hotel, with outdoor seating in November. Great hotel! Would stay here again!

I chose this hotel mainly because I had enough points for a free night during my two-night stay, and the location was reasonably convenient. Apart from those advantages, I was somewhat disappointed. The room was quite small, the 13€ breakfast seemed over-priced with underwhelming choices, and the room rate for the night I had to pay for (202€) was pretty high for what I was getting. Yes, Best Western is a mid-level American franchise operation so my expectations weren't all that high, but this hotel is in their premier class and the price reflects that, so it should have been a better hotel.

We booked this hotel for the day after a cruise because we had a late flight home. The staff on reception were so helpful and our room had coffee tea etc . We were able to enjoy our day and relax before out flight. Much better than sitting at the airport all day. A very reasonable price too for the day .

Stayed for two nights, and this hotel was an affordable choice. Hotel itself is good, seems like a newer property, room is nice. But Wi-Fi is horrible, at least on the 2nd floor where I was staying. I came down to complain the 1st night but it didn't improve. Something must not be working right, at some point only data interchange was working, but not video quality. Surrounding area was lively. Just wished the Wi-Fi was working/better.

Very please with service in general with everyone and Margarita she was so helpful to purchase tickets for Sagrada familia and Guell park and she gave us public transportation directions. Breakfast was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Located in the energetic L'Exaimple district, this Best Western Premier is a great 4-star choice with an excellent staff and all the modern amenities US travelers would expect. John at the front desk gave us several excellent recommendations for good local restaurants and the bartender in the lounge was a real treasure as well. The rooms were well appointed with hair dryers, bath amenities, minibars,coffee supplies, cable and Wi-Fi and the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and included in our room rate and featured a variety of hot selections, tons of pastries, fruit, cheese, charcuterie, cereal, yogurt and more. The location was perfect for sightseeing with a bus stop right in front of the hotel and several local bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Great value for the reasonable rates!

Stayed at the Hotel Dante for 2 nights before boarding our cruise ship. Very nice hotel near many of the sites and transit services. Room was very comfortable and clean. We purchased the breakfast program and found it good. Lots of variety for breakfast. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Great dinner recommendations just around the corner. Nice grocery store next door. Walking distance to the best shops. Staff was great to help with travel and touring tips to help us get around the city and enjoy beautiful Barcelona! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Barcelona.

Rooms were fine-nothing exceptional. Took advice from other reviewers and asked for a room at the back of the hotel where it was quieter and a higher floor. That was good advice. Our room looked out over a courtyard surrounded by apartment buildings, a church and another small hotel. But it was quiet and we had a small balcony which had two chairs and a table. We actually sat there for about an hour one day and it was delightful. The breakfast buffet was quite adequate with meats, eggs, veggies. You get a discount if you sign up to eat there your entire stay. You can do better price wise outside, but the convenience was worth it for us. We could catch a good breakfast and go sightseeing without spending a lot of time looking for a place to eat, time ordering etc. Hi-fi didn't work too well. Also, I had read that there was a patio or lounge room on the 7th floor, but there wasn't on. A little disappointed in that.

if you come to Barcelona for sightseeing and don't have a fat budget for a luxury hotel, this is a perfect choice for your hotel. Great location, walking distance to Discord Quarter, Casa Mila, Flamenco Theater.H bus line runs on the Mallorca street, which brings you directly to Saints railroad station and beyond. Tons of bars and restaurants on the Mallorca street. Front Desk staff are very helpful. Just ask them any question, you will get help and good suggestions. Room is adequately large, clean and cofy.

Our stay at this hotel was pleasant and the staff were very helpful. We were within walking distance of most of the action of the city without the noise and hectic atmosphere. While the breakfast wasn't extensive, it was okay. There didn't seem to be any others breakfast restaurants in the area. We also had sandwiches at the hotel cafe one evening. Again, it was satisfactory while not outstanding. The convenience was of prime importance to us.the beds were VERY comfortable!

I stayed as BW Diamond elite member at the Best Western Premier Hotel Dante Barcelona in Spain. Alexander Valsecchi, a front desk representative was rude and treated me as Diamond elite member awfully. He always ignored my requests and questions when I needed attention and solution. There is no attention and priority assistance for Diamond elite members. I tried to ask for a manager or a supervisor. Nobody ignored and did not show up per my request. What guess? I learned that the hotel does not value any Diamond elite member. Alexander Valscecchi, a front desk assigned me to dark room without windows where the room is located forever in dark. Poor wifi in the dark room. There I felt punished like in a jail or prison without windows. No upgrade and no welcome amenity kit. No complimentary drinks! I felt not welcomed at this hotel Best Western Premier Hotel Dante. The front desk reps are very rude and their hospitality is bad. I fled out after 6 hours stay at Best Western Premier Dante Barcelona in order to move to another neighbor hotel for better stay experience. What big disappointment and wasted money!!!

This was our second stay. Can't imagine a better staff, room, and location in Barcelona. Last time I forgot my shoes and they shipped them to me. This time they went all out to get us a taxi to the airport on the day of Barcelona's General Strike, and of course, they helped with carrying the luggage in and out. That's what I call great customer service! If you are travelling with friends, like we did, book Rooms #510 and #511 as those have a connecting door which is convenient to communicate with one another.

The staff was amazing! They all went out of their way help us out, and arrange transport to the cruise terminal. Rooms were spacious , clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a great stay and would definitely stay their again!

An excellent hotel at great value well located within easy walking distance of the Placa de Catalunya and the associated transport links. Our rooom which was an interior room was imaculate, quiet and very comfortable with an excellent shower. The hotel staff were always helpful and efficient. I would certainly stay there again.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel, at the beginning of a cruise journey, and again upon our return. That is how impressed we were with the service. Great rooms, great front desk service, great food! Front desk was extremely helpful in our tourism, as well as our transportation to and from our port of call. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Barcelona area.

We stay in the Dante Hotel every year in September for Arnolds Classic Barcelona. A perfect Hotel near the center and not to far from the Expo Ground FIRA BSRCELONA. Very friendly stuff, comfortable rooms and very good beds. Anytime again, also for private stays.

Nice hotel in a good location with outstanding staff, particularly Dominique, who was helpful beyond the call of duty. Our suite was a little different from usual. Instead of a bedroom and a sitting room it was a bedroom plus an office. It had a huge balcony that was a great place to drink wine and watch a crowd on the street below. We happened to be there when there was a major political rally supporting Catalonia separating from Spain, and thousands of people wearing bright yellow-green shirts passed by going to and from the main events not far away. It did interfere with our tour of the city because streets were blocked off for the afternoon, but we had a great seat for watching an unusual sea of humanity.

Great hotel in a very good location of the Eixample district. Upgraded to a very spacious room with a very comfortable king size bed. Bathroom was excellent with plush towels and good bath amenities. The room was spotlessly clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable given the hotel's location and accommodations. Having stayed in numerous properties in Barcelona over the years, including 5 star hotels, I can honestly say that this is one of the better ones. Why pay twice as much for a room in Barcelona when all you will use it for is to shower and sleep! I really enjoyed my stay here.

it's not the last arrived boutique hotel in town but it's solid, clean and personal is kind. breakfast is not the best in town, but it fills you up. decoration is kind of motel one, but if you are in town for one-two days this hotel could fits.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and we did not encounter any issues with staffs. Front Desk representatives were very helpful and friendly. Our bedroom is always neat and well made. Hotel location is closed enough to shopping areas, not far from very good restaurants.

Sept 1, 2017 - We arrived late at night at Hotel Dante, Best Western in Barcelona from the airport. We had a booking with a credit card, which was presented along with our passport. We were asked to pay for 3 nights in advance; I asked the older desk clerk to pay for 1 night in advance on my Canadian credit card; and the balance the next morning on an Euro prepaid credit card (needed to activate). He said no, we had to pay 3 days advance; then we could go to the room and make the phone call to activate the Euro VISA card. He would not check us in even for 1 night. By this point, it is late and we were very uncomfortable with this man. We decided to take our chances and left and very happily taken in at the Royal Ramblas hotel, without incident.

This was a comfortable, quiet, and affordable stay. We walked to Sagrada Familia (about 2 miles). If you want to go inside Sagrada, you need to buy tickets in advance. That was a disappointment we didn't know about. You can walk to Casa Barolo and la Perdrera. We also walked down las Ramblas at night, and that was interesting. Ask about food recommendations. We unfortunately did not and had terrible food at a cafe that was close to the hotel. Breakfast buffet was fine but nothing amazing.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my daughter. Only 10 min walk from metro and easy walk to centre and rambles. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room and public areas. Supermarket next door. We felt safe around the area. I thought it was a bit pricey for a best western I have stayed in premier inns that are just as nice but cheaper. Would recommend for a stay in Barcelona

The hotel itself is ok. However for 150€, the room needs to be rennovated: old fashion wood. And no breakfast included for this price. Most important not helpful staff at all even if I am gold member of Best Western. In conclusion I dont recommend this place. You have another hotel in Front of Dante, 10 time better than that...please note the incompetent staff is the most important thing

This Hotel is very central and we love the area, the staff are all very professional and helpful.We have been visiting Barcelona for the past 7 years and are happy to say that Hotel Dante has become like a welcome home family from all the staff and management who always go out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast buffet is outstanding serving a wide and delicious choice to suit all tastes. We would highly recommend this Hotel for a stay in Barcelona.

Very helpful staff (before and during visit), knowledgeable concierge; Everyone understood our English. Comfortable room, good food, close to sites. The minibar was large enough to store our leftovers. The bus line and also the metro were close by.

Check in was fast and informative, 10 minute walk to Las Ramblas and 20 minute walk to the train station. Metro stop nearby also as well as many amazing cafes and restaurants. The room was incredible, everything available and modern yet comfortable. Staff brought an iron and ironing board to our room and among other things couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely stay again if visiting Barcelona.

Excellent accommodations and staff very helpful in assisting us with directions, etc. Hotel located within walking distance of nice restaurants and shopping. We always learn the metro system when traveling to economize and do lots of walking. While the nearest metro stop was not close, it was doable. I would stay there again.

The stay here was off to a very good start. I arrived into Barcelona from NY at around 7am. I arrived at the hotel around 9/9:30 and they had my room ready for me. In dozens of trips to Europe, this has never, ever, ever happened before. So, I was able to sleep for a few hours and shower before heading out into the day. The woman who manned the desk on the day I arrived was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. She offered to book for me a online free ticket to the Picasso museum (free on Sundays) and so I didn't 'have to wait in the long line the next day. I could've done this myself but didn't know to d this The other desk clerks were not as helpful, but still very nice. This hotel was planned at the last minute. I stayed here by myself on my way to meeting up with friends elsewhere in Spain. The hotel had a solo room, so was able to get a decent rate even at the last minute. I am not sure what would be available with planning further ahead of time. This hotel isn't in the old city, but within 15-20 minutes walking distance to Pza. Catalunya. From there you can walk to the Boqueria and into the old city. The high end Diagonal area with upscale restaurants is also around the corner. It is easy enough to walk around, but really the smartest thing to do is get a metro pass when you arrive. The subway system isn't as great as in London or Paris, but bus service - if you take a few minutes to look into it - is extremely convenient from this hotel. It was not very hot during my trip - in the heat of the summer I imagine it would be much harder to get around from this hotel. It is a combination of tourists and locals. There space to move - I wasn't worried about getting pickpocketed in this area. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Diagonal shopping area, They keep a bottled water in the lobby for guests, which is extremely helpful. Although this bottle of water is not out late at night or early in the morning. I suggest they keep ti there 24 hours, or just get a large water cooler. There are some very good restaurants near this hotel. If you walk down the street there is one cervecceria in particular which is very crowded, reasonably priced with good food. The room itself is comfortable. The bathroom is newly reonvated and nice - they provide a range of tolietries and the bed is comfortable. I am not sure if this qualifies as a 4 star hotel or not. Hotels in Europe tend to be old and not as nice as in the US. I think this hotel met or exceeded my expectations for the last minute. I am glad I stayed here. If you book ahead you might be able to get a better deal somewhere else. As is typical for Europe, this hotel is small in size. You are not in Barcelona to spend time in your room anyway.

Good: the hotel had a nice front desk with nice helpful staff. The room was of reasonable size, with a fridge and decent size bathroom with an unusual supply of toiletries such as toothbrush, comb, vanity box... Parking was available. The A/C worked. Bad: Horrible smell that I could not conquer despite of using a Lavender spray again and again. The sheets (while clean) were of mediocre quality. Stains on the wall, gross carpet and about $25 a night parking fee made this into a "mediocre" experience. Sadly, I also did not get a late check out or room upgrade.

I booked this hotel for one night based on the reviews. While the staff was wonderful and did everything they could to make your stay comfortable, the accommodations were dated. Unfortunately, I had some really obnoxious people in the room next to me who came "home" intoxicated at 2am and had no concern for the people sleeping around them. When I called down to the front desk to ask them to take care of the matter, no one answered on the first or second attempt. The third call was finally answered, but my neighbors kept partying until the early hours of the morning when I had to get up at 4am to catch a flight. Based on the outdated accommodations, I don't believe I would stay here again.

I booked a room here because the airbnb I had chosen lacked air conditioning. The air conditioning works well here, it's in a good location and the beds were comfortable. the hotel doesn't have much amenities but you are in Barcelona so you shouldn't be spending too much time there anyway. The wi-fi lacks strength and that is my biggest complaint.

I had a problem with my debit card and asked if I could prepay my stay in cash, to which the unhelpful and unkind man in reception answered "NO" without caring about my situation. He also told me to book my stay in a computer and not with him. Can you believe it? I can't believe how awful hotels treat people nowadays. They are places to sleep and yet they seem like banks, who make everything 200% safe for them and not for their customers. Why do they need unlimited access to our cards if we pay upfront? They just need the correct payment and to give a decent place to stay. Do they care at all about people or just about money??

We liked the comfortable lobby and bar area in the back of the lobby that was open all day and served snacks until late at night. There was a great breakfast place right next door, so I wouldn't waste my money on buying the hotel breakfast. Clean hotel; staff was friendly and attentive. I would stay again.

I moved to this property from a B&B. The B&B was hot and stuff, and loud at a busy intersection. The hotel was better in every way, and cheaper. Last summer I stayed at a Best Western in Wien. It was excellent, too. I would definitely recommend Best Western Premier Hotel Dante.

Rooms were very clean and spacious, staff really supportive (specially the lovely Tomas with a great restaurant suggestion), great breakfast and location is convenient. If in Barcelona, defiantly recommend it!

I only stay at these Best Western boutique hotels when I'm using up my rewards points. This one was lovely in many ways -- the bath robes being the nicest touch. The location was good enough (about a twenty minute walk from the top of La Rambla) and a ten minute walk to the nearest metro station. Conversely, the negative of a small boutique hotel is that it gets quite pricey for the room -- you're paying for service instead. Considering the quality and convenience of transit in Barcelona, being father away from the core might be a worthwhile trade-off.

My Family really enjoy the hotel. It was the prefect area of the city to walk around. To see some of the site. .All staff was wonderful.. ..I wish they had more connecting rooms... We will come back again in the future, like next year ... See you soon

The staff were very friendly and most helpful during our stay. The room was spacious and most comfortable. The breakfast was varied and of a very high standard. The Hotel is conveniently situated, within walking distance of the La Rambla and other interesting sights. The food offered at the Lobby bar was really tasty and most enjoyable. We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel.

Wife and I spent two nights at the hotel, and were afforded the opportunity to try out the Junior Suite. With a large balcony overlooking the city, the room was as promised by the hotel website's description... very good! We ate breakfast at the hotel, and there was quite a variety of food -- well worth the price paid for it. We did not take the opportunity to spend evenings downstairs at the hotel due to the fact that there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. What set our experience at the hotel apart from the normal stay at a hotel such as this was the incredible assistance and support of hotel staff when my wife and I discovered that our plans had changed dramatically on very short notice. We were just checking out of the hotel to take a taxi to the cruise terminal for a planned embarkation when the cruise line advised us that the cruise had been delayed for two additional days! Hotel Dante's front desk staff immediately notified the manager of our issue, and just about took over to resolve our personal issues. Besides working on getting us a room, they assisted us in communicating with local officials at the cruise terminal and the cruise lines. Due to their assistance in describing our issues with these officials in the local language, we were able to quickly resolve our problems, and be set upon the right path to solving the issue. These actions were nothing short of fantastic, and revealed the true customer service provided by the employees of the hotel. When in Barcelona, give them a try. They are close to metros and buses, and within walking distance to many of Gaudi's wonderful works.

We loved our room it was spacious and realyy quiet. Breakfast was ok. I loved the staff they were really helpfull and always in a good mood. The area were the hotel is located is really nice, lots of small shops and restaurants. You can walk from there to las Ramblas. I would really advise this hotel to everybody.

After completing a Transatlantic Cruise from Florida to Barcelona, we decided to stay on in Barcelona for an additional 3 nights. We booked a room at the Hotel Dante based on a friend's recommendation and the excellent reviews online. We are so glad we did! The management and staff of this hotel are truly outstanding, from being met at the front door upon arrival, delivery of luggage to our room, a wonderful breakfast (until 10:00 am!!) each morning, and a GREAT location, allowing us to walk most places in Barcelona. In addition there is a well-stocked grocery store located right next door which allowed us to pick up snacks and drinks which we enjoyed in our room. Our room (as well as the bathroom) was very modern and spacious with good lighting, and we did get excellent internet as well. Upon departure for the airport, the front desk called us a taxi and an attendant went out to tell the driver where we were going so there would be no miscommunications. Talk about outstanding customer service! I can't say enough about this place and I would encourage anyone looking for a convenient, moderately priced hotel in Barcelona, to definitely consider staying at the Best Western Hotel Dante. You won't regret it.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights April 2017. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of our accommodations, they were very modern and looked like they had been recently renovated. Our room was on the 6th floor and had a full door that opened to a Juliet balcony with a great view of a quiet street. We did not eat at this hotel but chose to experience the many types of eateries located near the hotel. The location was quite good and only 5 blocks to the Hop On Hop Off and shopping areas. A 24 hour convenience store was located only 2 blocks away. The staff were very helpful and informative. Do not hesitate to choose this hotel for your stay in Barcelona!

We had a wonderful visit to BW Premier Hotel Dante. The room was the suite on the 7th floor which gave us lots of space for our 5 day stay. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the street but it was so quiet. After the third night we felt quite safe leaving the balcony door open to let in some air. While on the street traffic seemed regular and busy but on the 7th floor we heard nothing. The walk-in shower was very nice. And everything we needed was provided including chocolates on our pillow every night. The room was spotlessly clean as was the hotel. We decided to include the breakfast buffet and it was delicious. Lots of choice whether your like bacon & eggs, spanish style or continental. The front staff helped us on our first full day as we decided to book the Hop On Hop Off bus and also a wine tour for the Sunday. They were very efficient and by booking in the hotel you get a discount on the prices. The location of the hotel turned out to be excellent. We were a 15 minute walk from Placa de Catalunya and then another 15 minutes down Las Ramblas and we were at the waterfront. It was easy to find the Metro stop a few blocks away. There was a Supermercat about 3 doors away from the hotel so we could stock up on some drinks and snacks. And there were plenty of restaurants nearby of varying prices. We were very pleased with our stay at the BW Hotel Dante!

We recently spent four nights at the Premiere Dante hotel. The hotel was clean and modern located in Eixample neighborhood of Barcelona. We also had breakfast included and the breakfast was a buffet which included hot foods like eggs and bacon, fresh fruit and cold meats and cheeses. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel. We did find the location to be a little too far out as it is a one mile walk to Catalunya Plaza. It was easy to get a taxi at the location and the cost of taxis in Barcelona is very reasonable. There are several bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and we always felt safe walk around the neighborhood.

This is a high quality 4* hotel within easy walking distance of central Barcelona that is far enough from the centre to be quiet and calm. The staff are friendly, the service top quality, the beds comfortable and the rooms a great size. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Barcelona that is looking for high quality accommodation.

We stayed at this hotel for the first night and last night of our vacation. We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel is extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. The linens and towels were great. Our first night were were given a free upgrade to a junior suite, which was awesome and included a large terrace/balcony. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were able to use the Apple computer in the lobby at our leisure (and printed out our boarding passes). The breakfast buffet was had a lot of selections. Also, there is a small supermarket about 2 doors down from the hotel. We went their twice for snacks and drinks. Location was great....a little outside of the hustle and bustle of Barcelona, but walkable to La Rambla and other city sights. Overall, excellent hotel and would definitely recommend it.

The staff went above and beyond to help us with our stay. We were in a prime location to walk to see everything on our list - the Familia Segrada, the Gothic area, the Arc de Triomphe and Los Rambla. We will stay there again.

We were very pleased with this choice ... Location: 2 minutes walk to several excellent restaurants; 10 minutes walk to the City Sightseeing bus stop, 10 minutes to the metro. Facilities: we started in a lovely room overlooking the street and examples of the beautiful local architecture. However, we found the traffic noise too much to bear so asked to move to the back. We then hadan equally nice room, an interesting view over courtyards - and much better sleep! Staff: unfailingly helpful, especially when we asked to be moved. Thank you! Negative: as is often the case, the walls between rooms are not as thick as you would like and we were disturbed by doors, wardrobes, showering and talking from our neighbours.

This hotel must be one of the best kept secrets in Barcelona. It was much more than we expected at the price point. Staff are exceptional, location is perfect. We did not have their breakfast, but I would say it to would no doubt be great!! Our advice would be.....don't hesitate booking this wonderful hotel.

We stayed 3 nights at the Best Western Premier Hotel Dante in Barcelona. The location is great for all the downtown attractions. The staff is Awesome - anxious to please. Very clean hotel. We stayed in a top floor room and it was spacious with a beautiful courtyard view - some rooms have a spacious balcony. The top floor is newly remodeled. Be sure to purchase the breakfast - you have to tell them when you check in - SO worth it. Several kinds of coffee, breads, pastries, eggs, bacon, fruit, juice - anything you could want. We also ate in the small cafe at the hotel and the food was very good. Can't say enough about the staff - very helpful!

This hotel is located outside of the hustle bustle zone of Barcelona but only a short walkable distance. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was of good quality and plentiful. Several tapas bars are located nearby. The staff was professional and we had no difficulties during our stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is very nice and the location is centralized to all of the attractions although everything is still pretty far away. We walked everywhere and it is doable, but I would recommend taking a bus or taxi to some of the places. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. We did not eat here so I can't review that. There are a bunch of places to eat nearby. Our favorite was Bar Aling. I don't think they get many tourists but the food was good and budget friendly.

I stay 7 nights in this hotel. Very friendly people, helfull people at reception desk. If you need some tickets hop the line just ask at the reception. Is a very kindly ladies that help you, but also the other ar very helpfull. The double room where we stay ( aclassic double room with two beds) are very nice and is what we need, with the cleaning is made every day. The beds very big and comfortable and you find every day two small delicious pieces of chocolate. The hotel have a great postion near some of great tourist attractions ( Casa Battlo, La Pedrera, Sagrada Families, etc) but also to Passeig de Gracias avenue. You go walking 15-20 minutes to some of this. Near the hotel are some bus station that take you to some destation like plaza catalunya. Make you booking in advance to save some money. We don't take breakfast but we can take in advance and you have a discount. If you don't take the breakfast near hotel (1 minute walking) is a supemarket where you find what you need. Nera the hotel you find a lot of bars, restaurants. At the end in my opinion it was a very good experience, and you receive great servicies for what you pay. I recommend warmly this hotel for people, services and location.

A great hotel if you don't plan to spend much time indoors. Breakfast is real value for money. Room and amenities is of a good standard. Could be a little more modern, but value for money and in a terrific location.

We were there on Easter weekend. The staff was so helpful and the hotel was so clean and close to everything. The staff went out of their way to help with plane tickets and guided us to great restaurants.

We stayed here for three days touring Barcelona. We had a car and as soon as we drove up the attendant took our keys and took care of our luggage - just like at a resort. We were able to check in although we arrived early and were helped with our luggage to the room - excellent service. The location is great, you can take a bus or walk to the center of town in 15-20 minutes. There is a very nice market nearby, and the hotel breakfast is excellent. The rooms were nice and clean, we asked for and got connecting rooms. There is a mini-bar and the beds are comfortable. This is a great hotel, although a bit expensive, but we are happy we spent the money because we had a wonderful stay and would come back again.

Quick cab ride from the train station. About a 15-20 minute walk to La Rambla. Easy to flag down a cab out front. Market next door and plenty of restaurant options in the area. Although did not have much of a service need, check in and check out was efficient. Did not utilize the breakfast. Appreciated fresh apples and water available all day in the lobby. Room 703 was great with separate office and full enclosed (length of the bedroom and office) balcony. View was of buildings across the street and city roof tops, but nice to look out.

My wife and I recently stayed at the BW Dante in Barcelona at the end of a business trip to spend a few days sightseeing. The hotel was more than nice, it was excellent. Breakfast was good, the staff were fantastic and the location was great for us. Located a few block north of the Playa Da Catalunya (Super busy city center area) it as much quieter and easier to walk that downtown, but just 2 blocks from the metro that drops you anywhere in the city that you may want to be. Being a tourist for a few days (unusual for me) shouldn't mean that you can't escape the noise. Don't get me wrong, I love the energy of a big city, but I don't want it to hit me in the face when I walk out the hotel door. Amazing the difference that a couple of blocks in the right direction can make. Very nice area near the new hospital center, transportation and a Great restaurant on the opposite corner.

It was a fantastic stay. The staff was very friendly. The rooms very cozy. I booked breakfast and it was very delicous. The area around the hotel is full of good restaurants and bars. It is also good for families with kids. I enoyed the stay.

This hotel is amazing- it is in such a great location in a lovely part of Barcelona. It took me just under 30 minutes to walk to La Rambla, although there are metro stations nearby. It is nice and quiet around the hotel, with plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. My room was spotlessly clean and a decent size. In the bathroom there were some amenities such as shower gel, a dental kit, comb and a sponge. The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Barcelona.

The hotel was very nice and spotlessly clean.The staff were attentive. I didn't go much on the food not that there was anything wrong with it, it just wasn't my cup of T.The breakfast in the hotel is very expensive €17, so we went to a little cafe over the road for half the price. The hotel was in a good position for walking to Las Ramblas if walking is not your thing hop on the tour bus for Gaudi' Architecture Park Guell and Sagrida Famila and various other building..well worth a visit. Not forgetting Camp Nou-Barcelona football ground.Port area is nice if you like boats, plenty of shops and eateries. We caught a train and went to Sitges which is a lovely little seaside resort with a nice beach and plenty of small shops.

We arrived after a long trip from Canada and were very grateful for the ease of the check in. The hotel is nicely situated in Barcelona with lots in walking distance. The room was quite and nicely furnished. We enjoy boutique hotels and this fits the bill nicely.

It is a bit old fashioned style hotel however the rooms are clean and daily serviced. Friendly personal. The breakfast is good but quite expensive. About 17€ a day. 13€ euro if you immediately book the breakfast for the duration of your stay.

Four nights dream. Wonderful hotel, staff, everything. I'll came back soon. The room is not big, but enough. I don't now anything about breakfast, but I think is little expensive. but.. The location is central, silent. From the aeroport is ok to came with bus 46, and from the same stop bus 37, the last stop. And from there, about 5 minutes. End is only 1 euro if you tahe T10. Is necessary this T10. and I make a mistake. Once you validate on a bus is OK about 45 min in anu bus you change. I dont know this, and lost 4 trips. But it does not matter. I will came back

This was a nice hotel - clean and quiet. The hotel is about 5 or so blocks from one of the main streets, with lots of dining choices nearby. My only issue is that they were not very helpful when you asked about things to do and nearby dining. I felt like I was on my own to figure it out and in a city where everything has to be scheduled - it lead for some disappointing afternoons. Also, Wifi in our room was horrible - asked for help with it and it never was resolved. The only way to get wifi was to hold your phone up to the top of the door. When we went downstairs to do work in their bar area - They turned the lights off on us 2 times - a "we are going to turn the lights off soon" would have been appreciated. There were also 3 adults sleeping in this room and there were 2 beds and a small sleeper that was very small - not large enough for an adult size person.

Our room was on the top floor, overlooking some office buildings and with a view of a church. A small but serviceable balcony to take in the view. The room was nicely decorated, most of it looked new, although the carpet was a little threadbare. There was a kettle and tray of tea/coffee, although these were not replenished every day. The interior walls were thinner than in my own home. Not only could I hear our next door neighbour shower, I could hear his conversation over the sound of the TV. Partly inconsiderate hotel guest, partly old building layout: but annoying enough to stop me coming back. Location is good, relied on trip advisor for nearby food: very good. Bathroom came with small bottles of bath stuff: definitely bring your own! Hairdryer was one of those weak ones, fine for me but I know some friends would have preferred to bring their own.

We spent a week here and couldn't fault it. The room was great, the staff friendly and helpful and the huge, varied buffet breakfast was excellent, set you up for the day! There were plenty of restaurants and bars close by and the metro a few minutes walk away. Would definitely return.

This was a nice hotel with a decent sized room and very nice bathroom. The rates were reasonable for Barcelona, but the hotel did not really offer anything extra, just a nice clean room. Bar and restaurant were marginal and could not compete with other restaurants in this area.

Not in the noise but a short walk to the center of it all. We like to stay away from the tourist traps to eat and one of the front desk people told us where he goes with friends and family for real tapas. i wish i remembered his name because he was very helpful (the others at the frontdesk didn't act like they wanted to be there). He booked the tickets to the Sagrada Familia for us. They are needed in advance to not wait in line.

Stayed here for several days recently. Good experience. The rooms are good, clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff are helpful and can generally direct you around to where you need to be. It's location is good but not exactly central but it's is reasonably quiet

We stayed at the Best Western Premier Hotel Dante 2 years ago and came back for 1 night before joinning a cruise departing from Barcelona Port. The hotel was renovated and it looks as new. The service and breakfast were superb. We shall certainly stay again at this hotel on our next visit Barcelona. Highly recommended...

If you are or will visit Barcelona this is the place I would recommend. It is conveniently located to all the attractions and areas of interest. Well maintained, clean and staffed with very friendly and helpful employees.

The staffs are very accommodating and helpful. The room is bigger than ordinary room of the same category. The room, lobby and restaurant is clean. The breakfast food is excellent. The location is not bad and very accessible to public transportation.

Enjoyed the hotel--clean and quiet. Located just a few blocks from shopping on La Rambla. Also had a fantastic little restaurant just diagonally across the intersection where the manager opened a little early (7 pm!) and we had the most delicious paella!!

Location is good with a lot of amenities around the corner. A few minutes walking from la Rambla where you can find also some good thinks to do. This time did not have time for breakfast but I know from previous experience that is also excellent.

Stayed 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. Lobby was very artistically designed and the location very convenient to major attractions. You can walk to Gaudi's Casa Batllo, Casa Mila and the fabulous Sagrada Familia ( or take a simple bus from Calle Valencia ). The staff will assist you and are very helpful and knowledgeable.A special thank-you to front manager Margarita Ferret. Then, there's the convenient mid-sized supermarket a few doors away for all your convenient groceries, water and snacks.Well-prized and plentiful. Secure parking facilities within the complex helps.

Hotel was 5 blocks to HOHO bus.... close to restaurants.... very clean and comfortable hotel.Breakfast was extra but plenty of dishes to choose from. Staff were friendly and attentive. Taxis were ordered and arrived on time.

I stayed here for two nights.. this is definitely a four star hotel.. rooms are quite nice and feature fridge, room safe, and lots of electrical outlets although they are all of the 2 prong variety. Bathroom was nice and has very big fluffy towels which I liked. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Only criticism I have is a nearby church whose bell goes off at random hours.. I heard it early Sunday evening. I think it stops at 7 pm.. also heard it at 7, 8, and 9 am on Monday morning. It will wake you up! It's also in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of the metro and some tourist destinations.. hop on, hop off tourist bus is a few blocks away. Lots of great tapas restaurants nearby One tip: don't buy their breakfast. It costs 16 Euros which is way overpriced. Plenty of places nearby where you can breakfast at a fraction of the price

We extended our cruise 2 nights in Barcelona and were happy to find this gem of a hotel at a good rate. We were overwhelmed by the outstanding service, room and hotel amenities. we shall recommend to friends and clients. Location is also very good if you want a quiet room that is well appointed.

What a pleasure to stay in this modern hotel in Barcelona! The rooms are large and quiet. We were at the back of the hotel, facing the rear of a church. As it was Sunday, the church rang its bell every hour and we worried that this would continue all night. However after 7 o'clock that evening, the bell rang no more! The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a small restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner, but there are lots of restaurants nearby. It is a clean hotel but has a very small lobby, which is a drawback when waiting for the room to be ready after a long flight. No rooms will be ready until after 1:00 p.m. - a real pain!

My wife and I stayed at the hotel 3 separate times. As you walk in you can tell how clean the hotel is SPOTLESS . The front desk staff are very friendly and caring . Special thank goes to Alex and Martin for helping us with all our request. The hotel is in perfect location in Barcelona . We will recommend this hotel to all our friend in Canada. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona. It's location was in the center of all activities and easy to get around. Beautiful restaurants and shopping quite close, the staff at the hotel spoke english and everyone was very helpful, the price of my room was incredible.

Visited this hotel for 4 days when had business in Barcelona. It is located some blocks out from Plaza Cathalynia, 10 min with taxi. The room was clean but quite small. Also the bathroom was small and a bit outdated. It have been more accepted if the price wasn't so high, approx 200€ per night. The staff was very helpful, wifi was free but slow. The street outside is busy so recommend higher floor levels, we had 6th floor and it was better. Breakfast was not included and it is quite expensive, 15€ per person. But if you had 3 or more days it was 11€. The varity was not very much, some hot dishes, 3 of them and cold dishes. They have bakeries next to hotel, would use them if was not that my company paid for it.

The breakfast buffet very generous & quite a variety. WIFI most strong & no issues. A lot of restaurants & shopping in the area. Supermarket adjacent to hotel. Will stay here again in future. From the moment we arrived, tired from our 8 hour flight in a cramped plane, we were made to feel welcome at this hotel. Even though we were checking in early, the hotel had our rooms ready and put both couples on the same floor for convenience. The young woman on the front desk was helpful and efficient, getting us checked in quickly. There were 4 of us traveling together, we got a room on the courtyard and the other couple had a room over looking the main street. We both found the rooms to be very quiet at night. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and the breakfast buffet covered the complete spectrum of items one might want whether having a North American style breakfast or a European style breakfast. The staff in the dining room were very friendly. On the first morning one of our group had a problem with the coffee machine. The attendant asked if she could help and made her a coffee. The dining room staff made sure the buffet was full and the place was clean, quickly clearing tables. They also took time to chat with the guests and provided us with some ideas on things to see and do. The rooms were a good size, clean and the bathroom was stocked with essentials such as soap and shampoo. We had a balcony in our room overlooking the courtyard though we didn't really use it. The hotel is in a great location - easy walking distance to all the major sites and attractions. Every evening when we returned to the hotel the staff on duty greeted us warmly and asked how our day had been. A very nice place to crash for 3 nights and we will definitely use this hotel again if traveling in Barcelona.

Hotel was spotless, quiet, 10 minute walk to Ramblas, the people couldn't have been any nicer, Barcelona and this hotel were fantastic! No doubt that we are going back and NO doubt that we will stay at the same hotel, why go anywhere else. They lent us adaptors to charge our phones, held our luggage til we had to leave so we could go sightseeing, fantastic experience!

Great hotel, clean, spacious rooms, nice view of the residences opposite, great aircon, huge Windows, lovely linen and an excellent shower. Not particularly generous on tea/coffees or bathroom products but I'm sure you could ask for more. Breakfast not included, but we booked for 3 days (so you get a discount on the daily breakfast charge). Great selection, continental and hot food available buffet style. Lovely ladies working in that area, very helpful and smiley. Reception staff were great and very helpful, even lent us an umbrella each during an evening storm! Only criticism was the WiFi in our room (303) was often unavailable or very slow. Would definitely book here for my next trip to Barcelona

Our stay was for 3 nights. The staff was helpful from the sidewalk curb arriving to the sidewalk curb departing. I cannot say enough about the high quality the staff portrayed, with friendliness and an attitude that said " we want to make your stay the best possible". Margaretta was almost bombarded by us asking questions; she answered every question with a smile and a direct answer making us feel glad we asked. The hotel is fairly well located. I noticed one reviewer said 10 minutes walking to La Rambla but it is actually about double that time. Our room, 702, was on the top floor, a junior suite. The room is huge with a balcony measuring about 20 ft by 9 ft. Amenities included coffee, tea, espresso, glassware, refridgerator and a writing desk. King size bed with 2 lounge chairs, a small table and 2 night standswere the other furnishings. The room had 2 closets, 2 telephones and an ebtry to store luggage. The bathroom was in 2 sections, the first with a sink and Jacuzzi, the second with a very large shower, toilet and bidet. The bath towels were as large most beach towels. I would suggest reserving a junior suite for a stay longer than one night. Our stay was beyond our expectations with the size of the room, the amenities and the highly professional and caring staff. Very hard to beat !!!!

The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. The staff were brilliant, from Reception, Bar and Breakfast, we enjoyed the music in the communal areas. The location of the hotel is very good for great tapas bars and historic places to visit.

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days. It is moderately priced, the rooms are large and clean, and the staff is very accommodating ! Located near some very good restaurants. Book early, especially for the summer months!

We spent two nights at the Best Western Premier Hotel in Barcelona. The room was comfortable and clean. I don't normally have breakfast, but my husband called me down for some as the breakfast was really good, they had a lovely selection of cheeses, ciabatta breads and ham, as well as the usual English breakfast. The hotel is centrally located which was great, with lovely historic buildings on your doorstep.

The hotel is a great bargain, about half the cost the noisy Ramblas area. It is a bit of a walk to the touristic old city but not bad and taxis are very inexpensive. Best of all is the wonderful staff. Martin had excellent nearby restaurant recommendations. Magaretta saved the day when we were nearly robbed at a nearby bank ATM. Fortunately , our card was eaten by the machine after hours. The next morning the bank would not unlock the ATM machine to return the card...until Margaretta came to the rescue. Rooms on the backside ot the hotel are much quieter than those above the busy street in front of the hotel. Beware:: there is a central stairway between two elevators and a natural light well behind that. Noise travels up these two openings. Avoid a room adjacent to the openings, if possible, i.e.,stay on outer walls. The city is beautiful and as spotless as the hotel. Will stay here when we return!

I booked this Best Western property for a one night stay before flying out to Ibiza. It was well priced and in a great location in Eixample. The service we received, front the moment we got out of our taxi in front of the hotel to when we left the next day was SECOND TO NONE! During my trip to Spain, I have stayed in 5 different hotels and this one was by far the best we have received as far as friendliness and service. Up to this point, I wondered if all hotel service was mediocre verging on rude. Not this hotel. The concierge took us to the room and explained the amenities of the room in detail, which was a lovely surprise. The sleeping part of the room was comfortable (a little dated) but it was very clean. The bathroom, however was updated and fabulous! We opted for their breakfast special (11.5 Euros) which in my opinion was the best deal I had my entire trip! It was a varied buffet and of high quality food and service. If you are looking for a moderately priced hotel with EXCELLENT services, you can't go wrong here!

Stayed in the hotel for 2 days..its an excellent location......away from the crowds in a quite neighbourhood but just 4 blocks away from la rambla n paseo de garcia...10mins by foot..hotel was clean ...room was decent size and breakfast was nice....front desk staff was eager to help n very friendly....will surely book this hotel again on my next trip to barcelona!

I have a satisfying stay at the hotel! The single rooms are just about ok, but could be better if it has more space to move around. Room service was good and prompt. Reception was very helpful and always gave good advice and ready to help. Breakfast was adequate and of higher quality and hygiene! I would surely recommend this hotel!

nice hotel and central location but didn't get a wink of sleep for doors banging all night long maybe it was my room 307 as the room opposite looked like it had a keypad entry and was something to do with the running of the hotel,on the plus side breakfast was nice rooms were clean and staff pleasant but 4 nights of no sleep made me ill

I had extended my stay by one night and decided to book it with Best Western as they were also offering an excellent deal. I wasn't sure what to expect and was happily surprised. The hotel is modern and light nicely laid out. The single room, which in comparative hotels, wouldn't have any space for rooming, here the room was very comfortable, stylish, clean with all the amenities to make one's stay comfortable. I had asked for a quiet room and got it. The staff is professional and informative. The only issue is the location that is a bit of a walk from the centre of activities but close enough to some of the Gaudi sites and shops. metro station and buses are a block or two away (walking distance) and some nice cafes and restaurants next door. I was happy to spend my last night in beautiful Barcelona in this comfortable hotel.

Great hotel, nice location and incredible staff. Bar is small but intimate great drinks and the atmosphere is nice. Rooms are a bit small but that's Europe for you. Clean rooms great bathroom and comfortable bed.

Full disclosure to the readers of this review: my rating for this property is against others in its class. I think you deserve to know that, because if you are looking for the Mandarin Oriental in the heart of the city, this hotel may not be for you. However, if you are looking to stay in reasonable proximity to the Barri Gotica, or La Rambla, this is probably the best intersection of price, location, and comfort you will find. The rooms are well equipped, clean, and reasonably modern. We are a family of 4 - two adults and two adult sized kids. We booked adjoining rooms, which was wonderful because we then had two shared baths. Plenty of space, mini bar, coffee/tea complementary in room, and nice bath accessories. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, suggesting tours and restaurants. We found the neighborhood quiet, with a few restaurants sprinkled about. It was an easy 10 min walk to shops and other sights.

Picked this hotel based on review and we were happy with it. Rooms were nice, clean, comfortable bed & pillow. Bathroom had all the necessary amenities and clean. We requested for adjacent rooms and they catered the request accordingly. Breakfast menu was good. Room & restaurant service was commendable as well. The hotel is well situated. The metro is nearby and couple of bus stations are just around the corner. There are couple of restaurants of different cuisine around the hotel. La Rambla is 12-15 mins walk from the hotel. All the front desk staffs were very much cooperative throughout our stay.

I loved this hotel as it was well placed away from the busy streets. The staff were amazing and always answered our questions with a smile. Very clean ! We had breakfast at a little cafe right beside the Hotel very good coffee.

Final nights stay before flying out the following day. Lovely large, quiet, clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Staff very helpful, stored our luggage for free until room was ready while we went out and saw the city. There is parking underground but we did not use, and we also did not partake in the breakfast buffet, but were very pleased overall with our stay. Bonus was that it was paid for with Airmiles!

Came here for a business trip and the hotel is very well located near public transport. I had a single room and it was large with a nice bathroom. Everything was very clean. The breakfast buffet offers a lot of choice. People at the reception are also very nice. The wifi is good. Highly recommended

We spent 3 nights at the Hotel Dante. It was very comfortable and clean. The beds were great. The proximity to restaurants, shopping, and attractions was good and most taxis could find it easily. We did breakfast twice and found it to be very good although a little pricey.

The staff did a great job to have a room ready before the check-in time. The problem was that the room has an old carpet and curtains full of dust. We got to the room and noticed dark brown stains in the carpet and when we open the curtains, you could see all the dust falling around. My son got sick with sore throat and allergies. I have to say that I did not mention anything to the staff there as we were out of the hotel all day. The room was 403.

What a lovely hotel ,Carmen at reception was helpful and very pleasant . We were very early to check in having come off a cruise ship at 0830, we expected to leave our luggage and come back to check in later in the day. Carmen said welcome we have been expecting you and your room is ready. How fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel is well located near subway stations and downtown attractions. There are many good restaurants nearby and a few markets. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Single rooms are located on the interior corridor. View is limited to other rooms. Rooms are quiet and clean. wifi is good. they serve a hot breakfast.

The Hotel is conveniently located but away from the crowded shopping areas, those are within walking distance, so you don't hear the noise or notice the traffic like in other areas. You can request connected rooms for up to six people.

We spent two nights in Barcelona, before heading off on a cruise. The Hotel stall is very helpful and the English is good. They can help you with your needs of a taxi or direction. We had them hold our luggage on the final day so we could spend more time exploring. The rooms are clean, and very nice. The rooms were quiet and met or exceeded our expectations. The morning buffet was good and the hardest part was figuring out the coffee machine, which was easy with staff help.

This hotel is good walking distance to the shopping district, the metro and many of the tourist attractions. The staff is extremely accommodating and helpful. The rooms were well-dimensioned with comfortable beds, large bathrooms, a bathtub and amenities such as toothbrush, shampoo, bathing cap. Extra eloge for the wonderful breakfast, something for everyone. Great local bruschetta och almond cake. Eggs, bacon, the works.

we stopped in the hotel Dante for the Catalunya Motogp and we could not have picked a better hotel. away from the centre it made for a great hotel and not expensive with plenty of good bars and restaurants without the centre prices

I stayed for 5 days in this hotel. The thing I liked the most was the staff from front desk. They were very kind and deferent, willing to help. I stayed in bedroom 711 (top floor). The bedroom size was really good although it is with carpet which I personally don't like. The bed was two single beds put together which is not very comfortable once in the end, if you are alone, you don't sleep in between. The a/c worked well but it was the old type. The bathroom was clean but it has this blower/fan that is turned on all the time with the light and it was extremely annoying, specially during the bath, when you want to relax. The breakfast was ok with orange juice, scrambled eggs, a few types of bread and some cheeses, etc. The location is not as close to Las Ramblas as I thought it could be. It's walking distance but not that close. In Calle de Mallorca there are lots of restaurants and bars, it's very vivid and full of people coming and going. Another complaint is about the time the clean ladies started to clean the bedrooms, around 7-7:30am, disturbing the other guests with the vacuum cleaner (carpets! ??). From the hotel to Plaza Catalunya where you can take the bus to the airport I payed 6€. It's good value for money but I don't consider it a 4-star-hotel. Maybe a 3.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights here with it being our first visit to Barcelona. The booking proved a good choice. Friendly and helpful staff and central location made it a great start to our holiday. Walking distance to Gaudi's "La Pedrara" and lots more. Good value

My wife and I just spent 7 nights at the Best Western Hotel Dante, our experience with the staff could not have been any better. The location of the hotel was also very convenient to every place we visited. There is plenty of shopping and places to visit all within walking distance.

We stayed at the Best Western Donte for 2 nights to explore Barcelona before beginning our Med cruise. Located on Mallorca St in the busy central city area near Gracia, its not a far walk to nearby attractions like the Placa de Catalunya, Las Ramblas, and even Sagrada Familia. The hotel has a modern facade set amongst more traditional style buildings all joined together with chamfered corners to form the large blocks that make up the city. We arrived exhausted from an overnight flight to Madrid then by train to Stants station so were relived to be rapidly checked in and shown to our small well appointed double room with all the usual amenities for a hotel in this price range. Soft beds and quality linens provided a comfortable nights sleep and the hot water on demand was great in the morning shower. Thick towels and bathrobes were also nice. They have breakfast on the 2nd floor which was nice but expensive. There's a view of the street out front where you can watch the morning commute that i call "the scooter races" while sipping your tea I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff is at the Donte. Of special help at the front desk was Margarita who called on our behalf to the airlines to facilitate the retrieval of our lost bags. While our Spanish is rudimentary, our Catalan is non existent. Margarita called them for 2 days before our luggage magically appeared just before check out. Thanks to you we can begin our cruise vacation!

We were 3 night in the hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is clean, very nice breakfast and the location is very good. We will return to the hotel in the future. There are bars, restaurants and shops in the area. The hotel is 15 min walking from catalunya squere.

We were very happy with this hotel. The location is good, about 20min walk to Ramblas, 30min walk to Sagrada Familia, and 10min walk to Casa Batllo Nice staff, nice breakfast, good size room, and it was surprisingly quiet because our room was to the street which got quite busy during the day

We were very pleased with Hotel Dante. Clean, quiet, good breakfast, great,location away from tourist area. Tons of wonderful restaurants nearby and the staff here were very helpful. The room was comfortable and our window looked out on a courtyard and he back of a church.

Stayed in this hotel 3 nights prior to our Med cruise in May 2016. Good location, walking distance to La Rambla and other tourist attractions. A supermarket located in the same block, so we could get fresh fruits and bottled water, etc. Many restaurants around to choice from. Room is clean and tidy, bed and pillow are comfy. Would definitely stay in this hotel again if we come back to Barcelona next time.

This is one of the nicer European hotels in which we have stayed. The front desk manager and assistant could not have been more helpful. The bartenders were excellent. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and secure. Ours had a balcony on a courtyard. There were two elevators. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff efficient and pleasant. There was a good safe and a good refrigerator in the room. The wifi was above average. The location is convenient to the transit system, tourist buses, and Las Ramblas. Shopping is close by. Numerous restaurants were close by. The air conditioning should be good year-round. The lobby was a good place to connect with other members of our party. All Best Western hotels could learn from this one.

Stayed at this hotel for 10 nights. Staff was attentive and helpful. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory. Location is excellent. Many good restaurants within 3 blocks of hotel. Tried a different one each night. Because dinner hour is so late in Spain did not want to go too far from the hotel for dinner. Room was adequate, but need more lighting in the room and the walls are too thin (can hear neighbors). Because of location and service would stay at hotel again.

Hotel Dante was excellent for us in every way under our 7 days holiday in Barcelona. Location in a cosy district with local life, shops and restaurants. 10 minutes from Metro. The reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect. Good beds. Good cleaning. Wi Fi. The breakfast was superb. The breakfast-ladies was friendly and effective. We had 7 good days at Dante, at we will also stay there next time.

The hotel was located within easy commute of the gothic area, the marketplace and local dining. The property and rooms were extremely clean, warm and comfortable. The staff and service were exceptional. Rooms very spacious for 2 people.

The Hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance from the Hop On Hop Off Buses, great location for Bars restaurants, you can also walk to the Marina and the Beach, also the cable car, the staff were very friendly and very helpful, the Hotel was very clean. Worth a stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our cruise. We decided on this hotel based on the good reviews and known standards of the Best Western and it was a right decision. This hotel is well designed with wood paneling everywhere including our room. The view from our window (room 312) was facing a church with a bell tower, apartments and rooftops, some with container gardens, very quiet. The bathroom was very nice and big. The bed was firm but comfortable. We slept very well there. In-room safe was available. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was OK with all the basics one needs. I ate a quinoa-zucchini soup in their restaurant one night for a late night dinner and it was very good and so was their wine. The service was excellent. WiFi was great and we also used a computer in the lobby with printer - very helpful. It was a short walk to the nearest metro station, a good local cafe for coffee, pastries and small sandwiches literally right next door. Supermarket nearby and anything else you need is on the way to the metro. All in all, this was an excellent place to stay at reasonable price, clean, with very friendly service and everything available for the travelers needs.

We stayed here for a 3 night break as a family with 2 children. The rooms were lovely and spacious, quiet and very clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location was good. About a 15 minute walk to the ramblas. There is a supermarket next door very handy and a nice little pub up the road. Would recommend this hotel to anyone I know visiting Barcelona.

Never wrote a bad review , so here is the first ! If you are booking a single occupancy , you are in for a big surprise .... Apperntly single occupancy (few dollars cheaper than a double room ) means a room with a small window facing a wall (about 4 meters away) , so good luck with the view , ventilation , recognizing the living day lights! Walls of the room quiet thin so it can get noisy , AC is not that great, water coming from shower very hot and it might require a genius to figure out how to make it a bit cooler! . tried to talk some sense to reception people and it seems it is all my fault to book single occupancy , they insist i should have specified prior to coming that i want a room where i can see the sun ?? I think I'll lose my apitite for a while trying unfamiliar hotels .

The staff were extremely helpful and all spoke English well. Our room was spacious ,clean and quiet. The hotel is well situated and about 10 min walk from the Main Shopping Street. Next door to the hotel was a great coffee place as well as a supermarket which is very convenient

I stayed here for four nights for a city break in Barcelona. I tend to use the Best Western chain as they usually consistent, clean and reliable and this one met these expectations. It's location in the Eixample district is a good base to see the sights. The area is divided into blocks and there are two metro stations which are only a couple of blocks away so a short walk. It is located on Carrer de Mallorca so if you turn left out of the hotel entrance and walk in a straight line you will cross the Rambla de Catalunya in about 10 minutes and reach the Sagrada Família in about 25 mins. Other sights such as the main Ramblas and the Barri Gothic could also be walked to, but you may find the Metro is quicker (but not always, just easier if you don't want to walk). The Reception staff were very helpful. You can arrange a late checkout for 2pm. They did forget I'd done this, but were okay when I reminded them. They will also look after your bag after you have checked out if you have a late flight. The room was modern, spacious and clean. It had plenty of storage space and the Wi-Fi was easy to use and fast. There was a big safe in the wardrobe. There was a mini bar. The price list was on a card on a shelf inside it which took a bit of finding. Despite what the room book says, water isn't free, but €2.50 a bottle. You can drink the tap water, but bottled water in the supermarket which was next door was really cheap so buy it in there. The walls of the room are quite thin. A lady was having a loud phone conversation at 1:30am and I could hear every word. I had to bang on the wall to get her to be quiet. Also ask for a room at the back. I had one overlooking the street and whilst the traffic is not heavy, it can get noisy late at night with people shouting, singing and music playing. There were also some roadworks nearby which started really early. In the bathroom the shower screen was not really adequate to stop the floor getting wet, a common problem in hotels. I'm very tall and there was a rail between the screen and the wall which I kept catching my head on. Breakfast was €11.50 per day as I got a four day deal on it. It was adequate, but the selection was different each day and some of the warm foods were cold. I did it for convenience, but if I went again I'd get it at one of the cafes nearby. There were some nice ones including one in the indoor market two blocks down. These are only minor niggles thought. It was a good place to stay and if I go back to Barcelona, I would stay there again.

I stayed here with a friend in April and it's a great hotel. Very friendly reception staff, very helpful. Beefs are very comfortable and the rooms are a good size. Bathrobes are provided, which is lovely. Great location with a supermarket and cafe nearby. Would definitely recommend!

The room was very small. There was very little air, and when I asked for the AC, I was told that the ACs are turned on only in April! Later on, a staff member did come by and turn the air on, but after I had gone to the desk. Also, the walls are really thin. I could hear every movement on the top floor, till 1:30 in the morning! One of the staff members, Alexander, was helpful, but the others were not.

Nice hotel . Spacious with nice size bathroom. A good 10 minute walk to the metro where you can access absolutely everything in the city. We bought a three day pass. Didn't do the buffet breakfast. It was 15 euros each if you only wanted part of your stay or 11.50 euros each per day for your whole stay. Had a look at it, but my wife not being much of a breakfast person didn't think it was for us. It did look ok. Staff was really good and helpful. Close to a good size grocery store that also sold very reasonably priced wine and beer.

We stayed in March, 2 rooms for a family of 5. We arrived just off the cruiseship hoping to store our luggage until our rooms were ready in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the taxi driver accidentally crushed my daughter's finger as we were getting out of the cab. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and set us up in the lovely snack bar area, gave my daughter ice for her hand and our sons snacks. We stayed there for only an hour and then they got us into one of our rooms early. Our side by side rooms were on the 6th floor and happy that they had elevators. Rooms were very nice, beds comfy, we found this Best Western to be of higher quality than those back in North America. When we booked, there was a room sale on, but that even made us more happy with our choice..

We travelled with two teenage children and had a family room which was 2 interconnecting rooms. The rooms have just been refurbished and were very nice. Beds were comfortable. It's about 15 mins walk to the La Ramblas, or 5 euro on a cab. There is a mini supermarket nearby which was very useful.

Hotel Dante is fairly well located about a 10 minute walk to The Ramblas. Room was very comfortable and a decent size. Our room was quiet with just some background road noise but nothing from inside the hotel despite being by the stairs. We didn't eat there instead preferring to find one of the numerous cafes and coffee shops nearby. Best thing about the hotel was the reception staff who were incredibly helpful. Would be happy to stay here again.

We chose this hotel from AA Advantage selection. It is clearly a business hotel-but for leisure travelers the location and staff support adds greatly to the vacation. Excellent breakfast buffet. Current renovations added to the modern feel of this facility.

See title above. It says it all. The Wifi connection,which is extremely secure, is so complicated that it requires almost total reconfiguration of the computer. This hotel is good for computer scientists

We stayed as a family and used an adjoining room for our children. In addition we used their parking garage for our rental car. Everything was so easy and smooth with great service, staff and accommodations. Even with the front desk under construction, it was quiet and perfect for our family. Many of the staff knew us after our first meeting and remembered some of our little quirks. The location was great and had easy access to many of the sights and restaurants in the area. Can't wait to visit again!

Excellent location, 20 minutes away from Sagrada famila on northward and 15 minutes from plaza universita northeast,walking I mean, super Jespac linked to hotel with really reasonable prices for food ,beverages etc. , friendly hotel personal, excellent English ,recommended

Excellent hotel, very comfortable and smart, close to everything, only negative was only 2 english speaking tv channels and they are news channels could do with more english tv, apart from that I would recommend this hotel

We went on to vacation last month end and booked this hotel through trip advisor only. Few points:- 1) hotel was get renovated but management had made comfortable plans for guest arrival and departure. 2) staff was very polite and helpful for the requirements. 3) rooms were clean, new and big. 4) hotel is very near to la rambla and other tourist attractions in Barcelona. 5) toilets were clean, brightly lit, newly done and had all requirement amenities. 6) one drawback of breakfast buffet was that it was limited and not very tasty.

Hotel Dante is extremely well situated. I found I could walk to all of the sites I wanted to see. It is in the Eixample neighborhood, which is its own attraction. I had a single room which was comfortable. A special feature is the anteroom with the closet, meaning that there were two locked doors to access my room, adding extra security. Restaurants in the area were outstanding, not the tourist variety I saw many places in Barcelona. All staff was pleasant and accommodating. They arranged my departure so that I arrived at the airport well ahead of time. The breakfast is expensive, but there is a coffee shop next door. I highly recommend Hotel Dante.

Amazing experience. It was great staying here and staffs were very nice. Oil Heater in the room and is at walking distance from Hospital clinic metro station. There are indian restaurants near to this hotel. Had great time at the hotel and plus I earned best western points too... ??

We stayed at the Hotel Dante for 3 nights in late February/early March. The hotel is well situated and is about 5 minutes walk from the Hospital Clínic Metro station giving fast access to most of the popular tourist areas of the city. It took about 45 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport by train/metro. The hotel was very good with the best features being the delicious breakfast (self service with a very large choice including both hot and cold dishes) and the large, clean and quiet bedroom. The staff at the hotel spoke good English and were all friendly and helpful. Wifi was free throughout the hotel. There were plenty of restaurants, bars and shops in the vicinity of the hotel.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in for service, particularly given the fact that I was visiting with a loud group of friends. The staff here were extremely helpful and spoke better English than some of my travelling party. The rooms were very clean, and serviced every day. The reception staff could not have done too more for you. This hotel definitely enhanced our stay in Barcelona and I would consider staying here again if they let me! I think the very least this hotel deserves is good review and a big thank you for your hospitality.

Very nice service, silent and cosy rooms and great local restaurants nearby. Excellent breakfast with wide variety of tastes. We got great advices from the reception personnel and they had excellent service attitude.

The hotel was open and operating even though the entrance is under renovation, which did have significant effect to the first impression. The room was very spacious and very clean. For breakfast we were offered a good selection of meals and drinks and everything was fresh and tasty. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. The best thing about this hotel is the location, since you are just a couple of minutes away from La Rambla. Regretfully, what spoiled the good impressions is the sound insulation in the rooms. You can hear people walking and using bathrooms next door and above. For light sleepers this might be a serious problem. All in all, a decent hotel with good location.

Booked under a special offer 70 per night for a single room. You couldn't believe but it was a single room, not a double for single use like in 4-5 stars hotels... But it is quite comfy (no window outside, just to another corridor block). Obviously, there is no point for 4 stars: dated property, undergoing renovation, old rooms, not-so-friendly staff... But the location is nice, offer was good. Don't pay 15 for breakfast, you can eat perfect things for 5-7 euros nearby with excellent coffee. One more, this is not Best Western Premier or Best Western - this is some of the old hotel property now trying to run under the brand. But Barcelona is so beautiful!

We stayed here for three nights recently. The hotel looked a bit messy as the lobby and bar areas are undergoing refurbishment which we were unaware of, having found the temporary reception we checked in and went up to our 7th floor suite, this was a nice set of rooms with a nice terrace and all necessary amenities. The hotel is reasonably close to the centre (Ramblas, Passeig de Gracia etc.) we walked to the Sagrada and Picasso Museum on different days, both about 1.5 miles away.

The hotel is so different from the pictures on the booking site and its so downrun hotel. Firstly there is a renovation going on on the ground floor and reaching the reception is so hard. The Room was so tiny..have never seen such a room in my life. No free water??? You still have hotels not giving water?

Is really a good location hotel and about 5 blocks from Passeig la Graçia. If You drive in and going to park with them is going to cost You about 20-25€ per night and if You planning to eat breakfast with them which I dont recommend so You can taste the food of Barcelona you going to end up paying about 15€ per person per day unless you doing more than 4 days eating I believed is 11€ instead which is kind of expensive when is a sandwish-cafeteria store right next to which is awesome. Rooms are very nice and comfy and upgraded. We only spent a night at this hotel. I am a member of Best Western chain and I turned my member number in and I didnt even get the night credited into my account. I will recommend for the location and rooms.

The hotel is quite well situated, within walkind distance from almost everywhere. They were renovating the entrance so the entry is a little bit tricky with heavy luggage but manageable. Breakfast was ok and the staff helpful. My room was facing the courtyard so absolutely no street noise. There are several great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Room was lovely and very clean.Breakfast was very good with a lot to choose from. The hotel is about 15 min walk to La Ramblas. I would definitely stay here again. We did the hop on hop off buses with a 2 day pass which is an excellent way to see the city and if you start this on your first day you can visualise the city and get your bearings easier. You can use the bus to get to Montjuic (then a 15min walk to the top) the views are amazing, definitely a must do. Parc Guell is an amazing place to visit and it's free to walk around and then there is a part of it you have to pay, which is only €7. You must see Sagrada Familia and wandering around the Gothic Quarter is definite must. La ramblas is a lovely place and just wandering along in the sun down to the port was brilliant. There is also a cable car from the port to Montjuic but it's very high and not for the faint hearted.

I have stayed here many times in the past, and have always had an excellent experience. The hotel is being renovated, but it did not affect the stay at all. The reception has moved to the breakfast area, and this is the only disturbance. My room on the 5th floor was pristine - absolutely spotlessly clean with comfortable bed and furnishings. The bathroom was spacious with everything you need. Breakfast is plentiful and very high quality, with a full range of items from yogurt, cheese, fruit, cereals, bacon, eggs, beans, cakes and pastries, toast etc, and a choice of coffee, tea and hot chocolate. As it is right in the centre, it is near everything, and there are some wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Absolutely perfect in every way.

Check-in was a nightmare. Took almost thirty minutes for a pre-paid check in with no one else in the line. Shouldn't have taken that long. Once I got to my room - wow wow wow. Super large, clean and a spotless bathroom. Room very tastefully decorated. Wifi in the Hotel Rooms (on the fifth floor anyway) was exceptional. Breakfast (a charge of 11 euros) was outstanding. Selection of hot and cold items was immense and lots of it. Hotel next to everything: banks, shopping, restaurant...just a five minute walk to the Laundromat. Perfect hotel to overnight in order to meet a cruise ship.

Nice hotel. But our room 703 the heating system was not working and we could not cool down the room for sleeping Also there was only Spanish TV. When we returned after a week we stayed on the fifth floor and had a fantastic room, and the TV was also English. Very clean. We had to pay extra for Breakfast, but there was a good variety, and it was clean. They are renovation the hotel so when we first arrived we weren't sure if we were in the right location as there was no lobby. Will be very nice when completed.

just spent four days at this hotel. Great hotel and friendly staff. Location is great, not far from main roads. Lots of little restaurants in walking distance. Free Wi-Fi which the kids loved. I opted out of paying for buffet breakfast as you can go near by for lots of coffee shops.

The Dante was a short ride from Las Ramblas (7-8 Euro Taxi ride). Breakfast was very good (again). Room clean and well serviced, and the staff were friendly. Good bed. The Air Con worked well. Free Wifi in room was good. The only draw back was the 3 steps to get into and out of the Reception area. You had to actually carry your bags upstairs. Book early for a cheap rate. Recommended.
