Best Western Acadia Park Inn

The hotel is a little way out of town but very near the entrance to the Acadia National Park. You will need a car to get in Bar Harbor As with all of this chain the room was very large, 2 large comfy beds and all the usual facilities, with parking right outside your room. Breakfast on our first day was great, scrambled eggs, sausage and cook your own waffles, however, on the second day there were several items unavailable - like butter - which made it a slightly different experience. Kitchen staff seemed unable to cope with the volumn of guests.

We would stay here again. The room was large and clean (we booked the king with 2 singles in a separate area/room). Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. We asked for more blankets and they were delivered to our room as requested. It's just a few miles from the center of town. Breakfast was as expected, however it was disheartening to see quite a few people not clean up after themselves, but that's not the motel's fault. Outside entrances, normal for Best Westerns. Plenty of free parking.

Special shot out to Mary and Peggy Sue. Mary and Peggy Sue were fantastic! They were so nice and helpful to make my trip to Maine great. They gave me lots of hints of where to go and places to eat. Those ladies and all staff were very friendly Very nice accommodations, clean and comfortable!

This is a clean, older hotel that is kept up immaculately! The breakfast was good with bacon, eggs and the usual continental items. Close enough to Bat Harbor and Acadia National Park. We stayed two nights so we could see the Park and shop in Bar Harbor.

This hotel is not far from Acadia National Park. It is very quiet here and our room was nice. Our mattress was very soft, though, too soft. Deshawn, who worked the front desk, was very friendly and informative. He knew the area well and was most helpful. The breakfast area was large and offered a nice breakfast. The homemade yogurt was delicious!

We spent 3 nights here during a New England car trip. The location was great. It is close to Acadia NP, lots of places to eat and close to downtown Bar Harbor. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were fine, what I expect from a Best Western. They aren't elaborate but functional and clean. There was no housekeeping service. You could request trash pickup and more towels. To be honest, for the price paid I expect daily service without having to ask for it. The breakfast staff was rude and did a poor job keeping the food line stocked and clean. When asked to restock an item, we were grunted at. 10 minutes later when we asked again we were told there weren't anymore with no explanation or apology for the inconvenience. We would stay here again because of the location and helpful front desk.

Overall great experience. Clean and comfortable room, a friendly and helpful staff, very good continental breakfast included. Beautiful well maintained grounds, away from touristy downtown but very close to Acadia entrance and local dining (Mainely Meat BBQ a must try). Pricey but relatively reasonable in comparison to other options.

Front desk very helpful. Peggy Sue made sure our 2 reservations were linked. She recommended a great restaurant. Beautiful grounds and breakfast was excellent. The front desk personnel were very polite and helpful with directions. I would recommend this motel to friends.

This is different from most hotels. Instead of 1 building, there are multiple buildings with a few rooms in each. Place is old and could use some updating. Price was very high for the quality of the hotel (about $400 per night). I understand it is about location but quality counts, too. Breakfast in in a separate building which is good for the amount of room. However, on the morning we were there, breakfast was lackluster at best. Several items were running low. I understand that items have to be replenished often, so timing matters. However, I saw 2 men in the kitchen talking rather than refilling food for guests. I did appreciate that this place had a handicap accessible bathroom. It may be close to Acadia, but it still takes several minutes to drive there.

A wonderful property in an idyllic location with friendly and helpful staff! The entire property is very clean and well looked-after and the room was well-appointed, modern and comfortable. We'd definitely recommend this property when you're visiting Bar Harbor!

Our stay here was very nice. Staff was helpful with suggesting places to eat and visit. The room was nice and clean, and the breakfast was good. It's in a good location and affordable. Will stay here again the next time we visit.

There are many spectacular Inns in Bar Harbor. Each is unique with the closeness to the city. The Best Western Acadia Park Inn is, to me, the best value for the money and a perfect place to relax, with all the comforts of home, in a peaceful, and unhurried atmosphere. Our room was fully updated with a luxurious and most comfortable bed and a new walk-in shower tub combination. The room was spotless, everything worked and the water was hot. We were able to park directly outside of our room and getting in and out was simple. The breakfast, included, was as good as any of the local breakfast offerings locally. This Best Western property was among the best that we stayed on our trip to Maine.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this Best Western! Our air bnb lost power due to the hurricane and Peggy Sue at the Best Western truly saved the day. She was able to get us a room at the Best Western very last minute and she was so accommodating and kind. She turned an unfortunate situation right around for us and made our day! Our room was spacious and clean. We loved that we had easy access to our vehicle from right outside our room. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others traveling in the area. Ask for Peggy Sue—she is truly the best!!

Resembles an old motor lodge but well maintained. Park in front of your room for easy loading. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom appeared fairly new and updated. One of the best showers I have had away from home. Great water pressure. The breakfast room had a wide selection of food and was an absolute treat. A short drive to Acadia Park, it was away from the chaos of town. Considering the prices of the area, I would look at this as an excellent alternative. A great bbq restaurant and ice cream stand are 1/4 of mile down the road.

I enjoyed the quiet location away from downtown with the hustle and bustle. Our room was at the back and very quiet. The grounds were well maintained and the flowers and landscaping lovely. Breakfast are was well laid out not too much crowding. There was ample food both mornings. The dining area was spacious.

Four months ago I booked a 4 night stay in Acadia/Bar Harbor for a king room. I supposedly got a multi-night discount as a Best Western club member. Ha! We just checked in and we were placed in a distant building in a room on the outer side that makes for a very long walk for access to the laundry and fresh coffee. (We will have to drive as it's too far to carry our laundry). When I talked to the front desk manager noting that we are here for 4 nights which makes this location all the more cumbersome (one night would be do-able but 4 nights at such a distant makes for a huge hassle, esp as they don't have housekeeping services due to a labor shortage so we will have to go to the main building daily for fresh towels, etc.), The front desk manager said it is actually harder to get a room closer to the main building for a 4 night stay. (Yea, I know, there is no logic to that). She added there are no more King rooms available. But when I went online, I found a King room available for tonight, the same day we checked in AND it is $30 less than I'm paying as a Best Western member with a multi-night discount! We have had such enjoyable stays on our trip in coastal Maine at a combination of VRBOs and boutique hotels. This is the first time on our trip I have felt mistreated or lied to. No more Best Western for us.

Wow! It may look like a quaint roadside inn from the outside, but it is anything but that on the inside! The lobby was inviting and relaxing after our long drive. Peggy Sue, who checked us in was very sweet and welcoming. We decided at check in that we wanted to book a second night's stay, and Peggy Sue arranged it so we would be able to stay in the same room both nights. We found our room to be very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. I honestly slept better than I usually do in my own bed! The breakfast area had ample seating and was very clean and well organized. There were many choices of breakfast items- more than I've ever seen! Mary, who checked us out was very personable and a great help showing us route options for the remainder of our road trip. We also had the pleasure of meeting the lovely manager, Jane, who obviously enjoys what she does and takes great care in ensuring her guests enjoy the best experience possible during their stay. We were thoroughly impressed! We will highly recommend Best Western Acadia Park Inn to anyone who's looking for accommodations in the Bar Harbor area!

The hotel was, for us, in the perfect location. Easy access, right next to a very tasty Lobster Pound and priced reasonably. Vashawn in the office was friendly, helpful and courteous. He deserves kudos for making our short stay pleasant.

Convient to local attractions and area. Quite but pleasant surroundings. Staff was super friendly and answered all of our questions. Ample parking and access. Very clean and well maintained property and room. Good place to stay, away from overcrowding,

The location of this motel was wonderful as it is just a short distance from Acadia. To avoid crowds, we would get up early, tour until mid afternoon, rest at the motel and go back to the park towards dinner time. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was average and they had a hard time restocking the food during more peak times. We did inquire about both the fire pit and the popcorn machine but we were told due to a staff shortage, they were not offering either one. (not a deal breaker for us but since we read about the fire pit on the website, we were looking forward to it). It was a pretty property and found it convenient for all things while visiting the area. Bottom line, we would stay there again.

This hotel is truly a hidden gem in the Bar Harbor area. It was reasonably priced (for the middle of the summer), clean, and perfect for what we needed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The back area had a spot for our dog to go potty and a separate area for us to hang out by the fire. It's not too far from the downtown shopping area and right next to the entrance of Acadia. I will recommend this hotel to anyone I know going to this area! I was so pleased with our stay.

I loved this charming hotel. All rooms were on the ground floor they had 5 buildings. You could walk right out of your door and your car was right there. This was great because we traveled with a person who had some mobility issues. They had a community meeting space outside around a fire ring that was unfortunately not working when we were there. They had a laundry room. They had a separate building for breakfast that was really good. The landscaping was beautiful with flowers everywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

Have been to this property a number of times. Prices up substantially. Could hear tv from next room but can't blame hotel for that but no longer had welcoming cookies and pop corn. Trivial but a bad sign. Breakfast room was a joke with children out of control and parents doing nothing. Keep children away from waffle machine for their safety and guests being able to start their day in peace. Selection of hot foods was minimal and cold. No fruit. Only white toast. An answer that they ran out of foods is not what you expect to here and if it is, then reimburse me.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I was a bit leary with the motel looking layout but overall- it was more like a hotel. Rooms were quiet. Beds were comfortable. Outdoor pool was nice with good size pool towels available. Rooms were clean. We did not utilize housekeeping at all- we were able to leave towels and garbage outside the room during the day to be picked up. Able to pick up fresh towels at the front desk. continental breakfast was decent with warm and cold options. I would definitely consider staying here again . Only downfall was that it was a few miles outside of Bar Harbor so we had to drive into town for meals.

The room had a dampness throughout it that was just weird. Plus we found two bugs on the floor. Kind of icky. Didn't realize you had to ask for cleaning services. The breakfast was good I thought and the staff was fine. Just the room was dark, dank, and the carpet was kind of wet. Our suitcases, when we lifted them off the floor were moist. Also, i think it was maybe overpriced for what it is — a motel with views of your car in front of you in the parking lot. But even that I would be okay with if it were just cleaner, dryer, and brighter.

This was a great surprise just outside of Bar Harbor. Along Route 3 but you can't hear the road AT ALL. I had a King bed. Really good size room to spread out. Big bathroom. And a shower that isn't slippery such that I felt safe standing in it. And the room was exceptionally clean. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Best Western Acadia Inn was a wonderful place to stay! It was a very clean hotel, the bed was quite restful and shower each morning was awesome! The breakfast room was very organised but space is a little tight around the foods & beverages if too busy. The best part of our stay was Peggy Suè at the front desk. She is so great at her job & the hotel is very lucky to have her as an employee. We went on a day trip per her recommendation & had a great time! Thank you Peggy Sue! From the moment I called the hotel for reservations, it was perfect. They were friendly beyond words. Everything was Perfect. The pool was great. The breakfast had plenty of great choices. Everything was easy to get to and the entire staff was Perfect.

This run down establishment is grossly overpriced, even for Bar Harbor in season. I have stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels that cost less and provide more. Expected more from Best Western. I do realize that this is season in Bar Harbor and would pay more, that is why I accepted the booking, but did not expect the condition of the motel. The staff seemed to run through the routine without any great enthusiasm.

This Best Western is perfect. The room was spotless, beds were very comfortable and the staff was beyond perfect Peggy Sue at front desk was wonderful. We had a little trouble with the TV and she sent someone to show us how the remote control worked. Very close to Arcadia Park and a fun miniature golf. Would look forward to staying there again

Check in was pleasant. Just be aware that the front desk closes at 9 p.m. However, they will leave your keys in a drop box. Our room smelled from the dampness. They were very ki d in offering us another room. Breakfast was very good and Jill was friendly and shared information on Bar Harbor all while dutifully cleaning and restocking the breakfast area. Nice property with pool and sitting areas throughout. Located between town and Acadia park. We'll kept and sizeable rooms. Very clean rooms, which was very important to me.

Great stay , hotel is clean and quiet, no weird smells. Good breakfast with many varieties . Only complaint I have is not having enough soap, shampoo and conditioner. There is no TV lines to watch during the stay. It is kind of acceptable as we are there to be in nature.

Our stay of 5 days in Best Western Acadia Park Inn was excellent. From the time we checked in with the Evening Front Desk Manager, Peggy Sue Thoner, until check out we had excellent service and assistance when needed. Whenever I had questions or needed something Peggy was able to assist us. Thank you for making our first visit to Maine a great experience. Our room was very clean, well maintained, with staff fulfilling our needs when requesting fresh linens, and Maintenace helping me when the washing machine would not wash my clothes. Thank you to all staff for assistance.

Bar Harbor can be very crowded during the fall leaf-peeping season. Consider staying at the Best Western to avoid the crowds. There is plentiful parking and it is an easy drive into local restaurants.

The hotel is very close to Acadia NP. Very clean and well maintained. Good breakfast. Only stayed for a night. So didn't explore other amenities. Front desk staff was very helpful and check in process was fast. Rooms are spacious and neat.

Enjoyed our stay. Located near Acadia N.P. entrance and a short drive to Bar Harbor. Our room was clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was above our expectations. We used the laundry facility and wi-fi without problems. We would stay here again.

Lovely clean hotel & staff are fantastic. We had one night here as part of our tour. I wish all the hotels on our tour were like this one. Staff waved the bus off with Thank You banners. Lovely touch. Beds are out of this world too! Breakfast was included & it was very good

A group of us at the hotel had hoped to get together around one of the fire pits for a visit, the night before a memorial for a dear friend and family member. The fire pits were not available, and the evening was COLD, and Peggy Sue let us come into the lobby. We so appreciated that. Hotel is great, too!

Best hotel stay in a very long time. The rooms are extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable. The property is well maintained. Peggy Sue at the desk was extremely helpful and accommodating. While we couldn't use the fire pits, we were able to use the lobby for our family to enjoy time together. I would stay here again and would suggest to others!

The Best Western Acadia Park inn was perfect for our needs. It was a short drive to all parts of Mt Desert Island (Bar Harbor, Southwest and Northeast harbor. The staff were helpful with any questions(eg: where to star gaze). The rooms were clean, the breakfast choices were perfect. We would recommend to others and we would stay here again.

Rolled in today with 7 family members. Peggy Sue greeted us like she knew who we were. We had some splitting room costs and other hotels made it a nightmare, she knew what to do and did it with no time! I was impressed with the bright and clean lobby. They have a little gift store with vending items. While signing in, we had coffee and ginger cookies provided. Got some recommendations and headed into Bar Harbor. We are leaving early before the breakfast will be served as we are going to Arcadia so Peggy sue and Odette put together a take with us breakfast/snack bag. Outstanding! Our room is exactly what we reserved. The pool is heated to 82. We did a load of laundry cheaper than it costs back home! I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Stayed due to flight cancellation. The GM and lady at the desk went WAY above and beyond to see that I was taken care of. The GM picked up my dinner from a close restaurant and returned to bring it to me after she got off because there were no avail cabs. Outstanding! The wonderful lady behind the desk asked about my breakfast plans and offered a “grab and go” breakfast because I was leaving before they opened. I hadn't even thought about that. Truly fantastic customer care and concern my my well being.

Room had several plumbing issues, received a note from management when checking in that they would not clean rooms on a daily basis, air conditioner filter appeared that it was never cleaned, bathroom exhaust fan filter full of dust (i cleaned it myself), entry door threshold damaged (found 7 + daddy long leg spiders in room), many guests with pets in adjoining rooms (requested a non pet friendly room), breakfast buffet area very unsanitary and poorly prepared uncooked meat products were served on several occasions, we stayed one week and after returning home are still sick with flu like symptoms........avoid this property!!!!!!!!!!

King room was very clean, comfortable bed and parking in front of room. Received friendly greeting and was provided map and information re the park and restaurants that was very helpful. Breakfast was very good with large selection of eggs, bacon, oatmeal, cereal, etc.

We read the great reviews of the BW Acadia Park Inn and decided to spend our last three nights in Maine here, and I'm glad we stayed. Its a very nice, well taken care of property, and our room was clean and roomy! We had a king bed room in close proximity to the laundry, the pool, and the breakfast area. I do agree with the previous reviews that the breakfast is delicious and offers quite a large selection for a continental breakfast (eggs, meat, oatmeal, waffle maker, yogurt, juices, coffee, sweets). We got there between 8-830 every day and I think that would be the latest you'd want to get there to make sure they still have eggs and meat. If I had one complaint it would be that the laundry area has only two washers and two dryers, so it can get pretty congested and you have to be on your game to get yours in. There is a great BBQ and ice cream place just down the street and a couple great lobster places a little further down the street also.

Just one glitch on the first morning of Breakfast without enough food but after speaking to Office Staff, it was resolved for the next 5 mornings...Staff was Great! Cleaning ladies were Exceptional!!! I'd hire all of them in a flash if i ran a hotel or motel...my kind of proud workers!!!!

Peggy Sue refused to honor our reservation through Booking.com and check us in because of an unexpected additional pet service charge. She made up false statements in the process to force us to sign the additional charges or go somewhere else. Local PD was called and intervened with no avail. We ended have to find another place to stay after 7 hours drive up to Acadia. Furthermore, Peggy Sue not only charged us the cancellation fee (for 1 night) but also continued to refuse Booking.com several requests to cancel the rest of the reservation (3 nights staying). We are not sure how a dishonest person with such retaliatory action arise to a management level, as she stated "I am second in charge." Later on, all charges have been resolved with the G.M. Jane.

Great place to stay! Staff excellent and warm at all times. It is situated about 3 miles outside the busy Bar Harbor business area which I found to suit our family better! The grounds are beautiful with volleyball,cornhole,and bocce ball avail also. Great cookies in the afternoon and great breakfast in the morning.

Stayed for four nights while visiting Acadia. This was in a great location away from the chaos of downtown Bar Harbor. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice but try to get there before 8:30. After this time, it is mobbed and the staff can't keep up with replenishing.

Very Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Great distance to the park. Breakfast was more than satisfactory, but get there early, things run out. There's fresh cookies and coffee, hot chocolate in the lobby which is a nice touch.

This is a delightful inn with all of the necessary amenities. Immaculate with a very responsive staff in every way. The entire atmosphere was so comfortable, from breakfast to the Adirondack chairs and fire pits and native flower landscaping, that we didn't want to leave.

SO clean and inviting! Everyone sure looks like they like their jobs,and do them well.Room was immaculate,breakfast had many offerings.Close to Bar Harbor,but also far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Hughly recommend!!!

We had a great staff at the Best Western Acadia Park Inn from July 23 to 27, 2022. We used the online check in option and our room was available when we arrived around 2:30 p.m. The room was very clean and spacious enough for the three of us (two adults and our 9 yo daughter). I was impressed with the amenities available on the property including free coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby, a small gift shop and vending machine area, and a business centre area that allowed me to print my vehicle pass for ANP. The proximity to ANP is fantastic - about a five minute drive - allowing us to get an early start every day, and return to the hotel in late morning/early afternoon before setting out again. Proximity to Bar Harbor is also good. There are several restaurant options nearby if you don't want to travel into BH for a meal. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great - far beyond a basic continental breakfast - and provided us with lots of energy to use on the trails in ANP! I recommend this hotel and would stay again.

This hotel is smartly designed for both people and dogs. Great layout in the room and lovely spacious grounds, which are complete with sports areas, a nice pool and easy access to rooms from the car park. Everything was clean and fresh, and the staff was friendly. We didn't eat the breakfast, but we passed though the dining area and it looked good. This hotel has a great location, as it is near entrances to the national park, and close enough to Bar Harbor for easy access, but far enough away from the crowded downtown to feel restful.

Room was spacious and very clean! Dog friendly! Wide variety of complimentary breakfast options. Nice location close to Acadia. Open layout of the property so that you can drive up to your room to unpack the car which is awesome!

Awesome location, clean facilities, fantastic breakfast. We stayed here in July to visit Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor the location was perfect for both. Be sure to eat at the Traveling Lobster, the best Lobster we had during our trip.

Four family members, all adults, made our first visit to Bar Harbor. This hotel worked out great for us. Accomodations were very nice. Breakfast buffet was great. Location was just out of the main town which we actually liked. Staff was very nice. While it was expensive as Best Westerns go, it was a good value for Bar Harbor. Upon arrival it looks like a motel but don't worry. It doesn't feel like a motel.

We try to choose Best Western when we can because we are usually very happy with the accommodations , but this location was one of the best! I don't often make the time to do reviews, but I just have to mention how wonderful everyone was at this location! From the beginning, just after making the reservation a few months before, the manager Jane was so helpful and informative. Took so much time to help me with my plans! The same goes for Mary, who also took so much time to help, giving us directions and lots of brochures. I have to mention Peggy Sue as well! Last but not least, there was Erica! She made breakfast such a joy every morning! She is just such a friendly, beautiful person and I was so honored to meet her! This Best Western was a great location, central to everything we wanted to do, but all of the great people here really made it an extra special memory!

Peggy Sue greeted us with a very warm welcome insuring us that she would be glad to help in anyway we needed. Every aspect of the property was above our expectations great value, immaculate room, very comfortable bed with choice of pillows, tastefully decorated as well as a great location.I would highly recommend this property.

The hotel was clean, the bathroom was nice and large. Seems like has been updated fairly recently. My issue was with the price we paid for one night. We were on an trip touring the east coast. We stayed in a total of 8 different hotel. We stayed in much nicer hotels (suites) that cost half of what this BW cost. The mattress was extremely soft and uncomfortable for us.

Very large rooms, playground, pool, well kept property and a great staff. Very much enjoyed my stay and would stay here again. We stayed in one of the big rooms with the kid room that can be closed off. Very unique room.

Don't stay here. Not worth the price at all!!! We were given a room that stank of dogs and asked for another room but were told there were none but online there were rooms at over $100 less than what we were charged. The lady at the reception desk was very unkind and not helpful. Here name is Peggy Sue. If you want to be over charged and treated badly and stay in an old dingy smelly motel room than this is your place, otherwise stay at one of the numerous other places in the area.

Stayed for 3 nights in mid June. The rooms were spacious enough for us, room and bathroom were clean. They had hot and continental breakfast. Location is also strategic - close enough to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Front desk staff were awesome - extremely friendly and courteous. I can't say enough good things about the front desk staff.

We booked well in advance and got a great rate. The hotel is clean and comfy. The free breakfast was busy, but the staff were working hard to keep it stocked and were very accommodating. It's a short drive into Bar Harbor center and there is ample street parking (meters that take credit card) when you are there.

This was one of my favourite stops on our trip! Clean, quiet and comfortable with great breakfasts - the staff were lovely, it's a good location for Bar Harbor and each of the sections of Acadia NP. Loved it.

This is one of the cleanest hotels we've ever stayed in. Great attention to detail, in every way. Clean room, comfortable beds, nice linens, friendly and helpful staff, quiet. The grounds are pretty too. Updated nicely, pleasant, practical, not stuffy, accommodated our needs needs.

I've been to the Best Western Acadia Park Inn several times and have always been thoroughly impressed with the level of accommodations, especially for the price. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts are delicious! There is no better place to stay in Bar Harbor! Need to perform a shoutout to Peggy Sue though! On a recent stay, I TOTALLY forgot an expensive pair of headphones in the room before returning home. Not only did Peggy Sue manage to track them down, but had them shipped back to me! Talk about going above and beyond!

We were very pleased. The room was clean, and the breakfast was good....a full selection. The price was reasonable. Peggy Sue was on duty while we were there. She was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We felt so welcomed by her!!! Thank you Peggy Sue! Great little gift shop with jellies that are made in Maine.

One of the better Best Westerns we have stayed at. Very clean with friendly staff. Minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia. Has a little playground if traveling with kids. Would recommend this hotel to families. The included continental breakfast was also a plus!

We arrived at BW here in Bar Harbour, after riding (motorcycles) in rain for 4 hours. Needless to say, we were cold, wet and tired out. The ladies here, Peggy Sue and Mary got us into our room quickly. Showed us where the laundry room was (as we needed the dryer) and made us fresh coffee, which warmed us up. This is a nice place here. Very clean, and quiet. Looking forward to coming back soon. Two thumbs up.

This was our second year staying at the best Western Acadia Park Inn and we really enjoyed staying here again. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable! The breakfast is also very good! Great location too. Close to everything but far enough away to have a little quiet time. A special shout out to Peggy Sue Thoner, the Evening Front Desk Manager for providing such great customer service!!!! Thank you!!

We were greeted by Peggy Sue who was very friendly and accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was excellent. We decided to extend our stay here for an additional night.

Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. And breakfast was amazing, offered a lot of hot and cold options, even had white chocolate raspberry scones. Great location too, very convenient to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. Great value for the price charged.

We stayed in October of 2021 for three nights. This is an old-style motor hotel, or Motel. PArk your car right up in front of your room. One story, a few buildings with rooms. Newly reroofed, remodeled, kept clean and nice enough, but I guess because all the prices in Maine were pretty high, the price seemed a bit out of touch with the level of the property. As I said, though, that may just be a local economy of scale. Breakfast was pretty good, not a whole lot of food, no personal cook, etc, making you omelettes, but... the lady who was in charge of keeping it stocked, running and clean was happy, friendly, and was on top of her game. She took her part seriously and did a fine job. Would I stay here again? Probably not, sorry, but only because the price was a bit high for the quality, and for maybe 50 to 75 more a night, I could get a better place. But overall, area was stunning, gorgeous, we loved it. Beautiful, hit when leaves were turning. Colors were beautiful.

Nice rooms, affordable compared to many other hotels we looked at in the area, and a great selection for breakfast. The only small complaint was they told us the pool was heated to 80 degrees but it was not warm when we tried to swim. Otherwise we had a great stay and would stay here again.

The Best Western Acadia Park Inn was a very good hotel. The room was clean and fit our needs. We were on the back side, away from the highway, and it was very quiet. The morning breakfast had selections of hot and cold food and was very good. A nice stay.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious, and I loved the clean tub and all the towel racks and hooks. Appreciated the table with two arm chairs. The HVAC filters and grill were slightly dirty, but the window could be opened so the air quality was good. We could hear the alarm clocks, and talking and laughing from our neighbors on either side of us when our TV was turned off. Desk staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Appreciated the individually wrapped cookies in the lobby. The popcorn machine was a nice touch, but I did not visit the lobby to try it at the times the popcorn was available. The orange juice, muffins and scones, and hot items for breakfast were especially good. They had excellent Covid precautions in place. This is a motel, with several buildings containing about 10 units each. Parking spaces are in front of each room, and the breakfast room is in a separate building. Pre-Covid, I would not have rated this motel over a 4, and would not dream of paying over $250 a night off- season, but these are unusual times and it is apparent that the operators of this Best Western are trying very hard to please their customers.

The beds were really comfortable. We were in the suite - so there was a separate room with twin beds for our son. Very spacious room. Wifi was spotty in the room, especially when it rained. The breakfast was average, they had scrambled eggs, waffles to order, freshly baked muffins were a nice touch, oatmeal, slices of bread and bagels, bananas and cocktail fruit (that was not very nice). The hotel is well located, close to Arcadia park and downtown area restaurants and shops. They offer free parking on site.

I chose this place as it was cheaper than other hotels in the area, however, knowing what I know now, I would have spent the money to stay in a better place. Checkin was done after 3 PM as stated but was told 5 PM was the time, so we tooled around to burn up 2 hours. After checking in, the room smelled...stale or some other funky smell. Not the COVID antiseptic I expected, but someone who had a bad body over. We made due. Stayed here for 3 nights. Maids never came in to clean, straighten, or anything. Rates for non-maid service were not lowered. Their breakfast was just nasty, as once we tried it once, that was enough. Went into town for 2 other breakfasts, which were light-years better. I would not recommend this place, nor would I come back.

Enjoyed our four night stay at this clean and comfortable motel. The location was quiet and conveniently located to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. Breakfast was good too. Easy parking. Recommend!

The room was really large and bathroom was big enough to accommodate a walker. The room was very clean and staff was accommodating--so much so that we had to leave for health issues and they didn't charge us for the last night. Large building next to office had continental breakfast--everything from cereal, yogurt and fruit to toast, waffles, eggs, etc. If you are handicapped, try to get a room close to office and breakfast building or drive your car. However, that means you are out front near the roadway. The only criticism is there is no handicapped parking near the breakfast building. If you have bluetooth hearing aids with a transmitter, make sure you have a mini to mini digital output

This place is Very Nice...Newer property not far(5-10 minutes) from Bar Harbor... Nice Friendly staff...Nice location(lots of things to do in both directions) Nice amenities(only disappointment was the outdoor pool closed the day we got there)...

Beautiful, clean, spacious rooms near the park entrance and away from the hubbub of BH town center. Also, the best breakfast we enjoyed on our two-week trip. The grounds were lovely and the staff was welcoming. Nothing but positives here...

the location was convenient to the park shops and restaurants yet quiet(location). The aesthetics of the room were tastefully done and comfortable (our room had a twin beds room with a barn door separation great for kids or second couple). The breakfast had homemade blueberry muffins!

We stayed at this Best Western as a stop-over to another destination so I didn't spend much time on the particulars when I booked a room. Wow! I want to go back. The room was spacious & comfortable. The bed was just soft enough that I wanted to burrow in but firm enough that my back was happy with me the next day. The room was pristine. Late check in was surprisingly easy and breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. I look forward to returning when I have time to stay for a few days. We traveled on a holiday weekend so it was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I would do it again based on the great night's sleep.

Beginning with the wonderful help of BW's point man, Joel, who arranged all aspects of our visit from the check in procedures to the ease of our departure, this visit exceeded all my expectations. The room was outstanding and the breakfast full and complete. We utilized the laundry facility, which had all the right gear to let us wash and dry two loads of clothes. Visit was so good, we tried to stay another night, but they were all booked up. If I ever get a chance to go again, I will be staying at the Beat Western Acadia

Great staff, friendly and accommodating. The grounds are lovely with a good layout out with a pool. Rooms are spacious and CLEAN! Breakfast was more than adequate with good options. Well situated close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor town. We had a really comfortable stay at Best Western Acadia Park Inn.

Came in late after flying into Boston but the front desk helped me with the late, self check-in which was awesome so I could get some shut eye! Breakfast plentiful and well-maintained. Room was clean, a fairly standard BW but no complaints here! Suited my needs of a place to stay. A little pricey but I think that is the times we are in.

The check-in was quick and efficient, and the front desk person was friendly. I especially liked the fact that we could park in front of our room and just walk-in. No going through lobbies, waiting for elevators, etc. The hotel room was large, with two queen beds and a good size table along with plenty of counter space. The bathroom was also large. Be careful if you leave your door open (while loading or unloading) as we had a squirrel run into our room, but it ran out just as quickly. The complementary breakfast was pretty good with a decent choice of hot and cold options – but it was crowded. You may want to get what you want and eat it in your room. The only downside is that the hotel is approx. a 10-minute drive from Acadia and/or downtown Bar Harbor, but I still feel it was worth it. I'd stay here again.

We had a great experience and really enjoyed our time here. Our room was clean with plenty of space and a nice bathroom. The breakfast was very convenient, with a good variety. We met Peggy Sue when we checked in during the evening, and she provided thorough information about the property. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. The property is located close to Acadia National Park entrance and not far from downtown Bar Harbor. There is nothing negative to say. We loved it!

Staff was amazing, The hotel is close to entrance of Arcadia Park and all parts of Mount Desert Island. Dining room spacious, clean and comfortable. A pleasant spot to eat freshly made muffins. We found the grounds of the hotel relaxing with several open sitting areas and outdoor activities. It felt like we were in a park.

Our stay was very enjoyable and easy. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was nice as well. It was a great choice for a reasonably priced hotel. I will consider again in the future.

I have to admit, Best Western's are not typically the brand my wife likes to stay in on family vacations, so when I said our big summer vacation included a stay at a BW, it was met with suspect. But we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel - especially the hotel rooms. It is noticeable that the rooms had had recent updates as they looked much more modern than the appearance of the hotel grounds. Not that the grounds were shabby - they were well kept and clean (but the 'bones' of the hotel looked like the typical older car motel). Staff overall were nice and kept busy. Due to COVID we had no daily house keeping but that was fine as we didn't desire any. We were asked to sit used towels and trash outside for pick up and we were able to get fresh towels on demand. That is all we needed. More about the rooms - I was pleased with the updated bathrooms and room decor. I enjoyed the walk-in shower. The bed was comfy enough for me. But as typically with these style of motel rooms, the A/C heater unit attached to the wall was not my favorite as it was a bit too noisy. The free breakfast and dining area was a nice size and plenty of the standard options including a self-waffle maker. The kitchen staff was efficient and friendly (be sure to leave a tip!) All staff wore masks - but I wish they enforced the mask rule for the other hotel visitors especially those that were walking around the food as some didn't have on one. We traveled with my older kids so we had them in separate rooms from us and the hotel did a great job keeping our rooms a close as possible. The drive to Acadia National Park was short and I saw the free bus stopping out front of the hotel, but we didn't use it. I read others mention car noise but that never bothered us. It was very peaceful at night. Overall a decent choice at a decent price if motels are your thing.

We enjoyed our stay here. The large well landscaped property had all rooms with outside entrances so you could drive up to your door. All sanitary precautions appeared to be taken. It was clean, as expected, and quiet. Laundry facilities were available. The breakfast was hot, and outside seating was available. The hotel was not far from Bar Harbor (five miles) and about two miles from the Acadia Park entrance.

First time my husband and I have ever stayed in a Best Western and first time in Bar Harbor. We were so pleased with our stay at Best Western Acadia Park Inn! It is so conveniently located to Acadia and to great restaurants. The building our room was in (303) was either brand new or had recently been remodeled. It was a BIG room, clean, and beautiful! The room included a small fridge, microwave, and personal safe. The towels were a a step above your usual hotel towels. They were soft and fluffy!! Much appreciated! I was concerned about hearing road noise because our room faced Hwy 3, but it wasn't a problem at all. The motel grounds were beautifully landscaped and well maintained. We only came into contact with the staff at check in. The front desk clerk was very friendly and took the time to point out all motel amenities and made several restaurant suggestions. I highly recommend the Best Western Acadia Inn.

We have never been to Acadia and wanted a hotel close to the park and downtown. We chose the Best Western for its location and price. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was! It was recently updated hotel with great amenities. The breakfast was very good and the cookies in the reception area were a nice touch. The rooms were simple, clean and well maintained. They had cornhole, a swing set, grill area, pool, and lots of outdoor seating. Everything we needed for our mini vacation. We will definitely be visiting again!

We had a Great experience. Very pleased with the appearance. Nice inground pool and play area, with swing set, for the children. The room was very clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast with many options.The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.The location was not far from down town. We would certainly stay here again.

This was our 3rd stay at this property. Room was spotless clean and huge w a club chair and couch. Nice quiet location. While on this road trip we found this place to have the best continental breakfast . Staff was very friendly.

At first things looked promising - close location to the park, a pool, the family room #416 was spacious. As night set in things got bad. At first, I noticed two mosquitoes in the closet and then found over a dozen more throughout the unit. I spent over an hour killing them all but I kept finding more although our windows and door were always shut. I called the front desk and they told me to not keep my door open although I told them it was not. Not helpful. I thought housekeeping must have kept the door open while they were cleaning but daily cleaning was suspended so by the second day I knew that was not the cause. Second night, same thing - after the sun went down the room had a constant stream of mosquitoes and other insects. I killed dozens. I had a hunch there were gaps in the door because you can feel a breeze so I blocked it with tissue. It seemed to slow down the number of insects. Third day I called the front desk again to change rooms - they said nothing was available but they would send a maintenance person over to investigate. No one ever came. Instead I resorted to buying a roll of painters tape. I taped the gaps between the frame and the door from the outside when we went out to dinner, and promptly taped the gaps from the inside when we settled in for the night. Not a single mosquito that night. It was a ridiculous way to spend vacation time. The responses I got from the front desk were a disgrace. I've been to hotels in third world countries, but this was the worse experience. That number of mosquitoes could be a safety hazard.

This is one of the best places we have stayed anywhere. Very clean, large room, very nice grounds with sitting areas, pool and playground, and included breakfast with hot and cold options. Very convenient for visits to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, in a quiet setting even though it's just off the main road. Highly recommend.

We usually have had good experiences in Best Westerns, but Peggy Sue, the night manager here was exceptional. She went out of her way to accommodate us, make sure we were comfortable, and had everything we needed for our visit. Everyone should have such a great experience. The Inn itself was clean, convenient, and hospitable, with a pool and breakfast. Just a short ride to downtown Bar Harbor, or Acadia National Park. But the best part of the trip was Peggy Sue.

This was our first time at Best Western Acadia Park Inn and I can say we will definitely return! Such a convenient location to Acadia National Park! The rooms were very nice and the beds were so comfy! The breakfast was included each morning and it was delicious and well stocked! Bagels, muffins, bread for toast, and each day there was scrambled eggs and different types of sausage. Make your own waffles every morning, fruit and cereal..and of course coffee and juice. It really was very good and a great value! We had no problems with noise or anything and it was an extremely comfortable stay! Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay when visiting Acadia/Bar Harbor. The front desk staff when super helpful and friendly. Upon checkin the offered us an overview of the area and gave us some suggestions on what to do, where to eat, etc. They couldn't have been nicer. The grounds of the hotel were very well kept and the rooms were extremely clean when we checked in. No problems with Wi-Fi. Breakfast was fairly typical hotel breakfast but it was clean and well stocked. One bonus was gluten free options upon request which I wish all hotels would do. One minor complaint was that the firepit was not able to be used. It is a couple of miles outside of Acadia and little bit further to Bar Harbor and we thought it was a great location. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I was amazed with my stay at the Best Western Acadia Park Inn. Super Clean, Friendly Helpful Staff, Great Breakfast. Recently I stayed at 5 star hotels in another state which were not as nice. A highlight of my vacation.

After a solidly good but short stay in 2019, we returned in 2021 for a longer experience. In mid-April, I phoned to book a weeklong late July stay for my family. Peggy Sue at the front desk was most helpful in finding the room that would best suit us for an extended period. The property is surprisingly secluded and quiet, set back from adjacent ME highway 3 and surrounded by mature conifer forest. The aromatic setting alone is reason enough to seek out this motel. Add the accommodating staff; clean, comfortable room; spacious breakfast area with varied daily food options; and proximity to Acadia National Park to make this an easy choice for your Mt. Desert Island "base camp."

I was amazed how clean and nice this hotel is. I booked at the beginning one night, but I liked it that much, that we decided to stay one more night. The breakfast common area was big and had additional tables outside. I was impressed with the food selection, also.

Motel staff were professional, friendly. And helpful. Very Clean. Breakfast selection was good and well stocked. Great location within minutes of Acadia entrance and downtown Bar Harbor. Would definitely stay at this location again.

Such a comfortable night's sleep. Excellent breakfast options with egg, cereal, waffles, juice, fruit. Clean. Friendly. Marshmallow pit, swings, beautiful plantings. Convenient to activities downtown and the sights at Acadia. Pleasant knowledgeable front desk staff - Joel, Mary & Jeremy. The breakfast staff also are super helpful and make you feel like family and that they are so happy to see you.

We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed each night! A nice value for the price, the rooms are simple but clean, and has everything you need. The only drawback in the room is that while the barn style bathroom door looks nice, it really doesn't provide as much privacy. Breakfast was great with a nice variety of hot and cold offerings, though the coffee on the weak side. The outdoor pool was nice and warm and clean as well, open from 9am til dusk. All in all I'd book this hotel again next time!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights while exploring Mount Desert Island. The room was spacious and clean. There were no humidity problems. The continental breakfast had a nice choice of hot and ready-to-eat selections, including breads and fruits. The dining area was kept clean as well. The hotel's location is close to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We had a very comfortable stay, and would stay here again when in the area.

We have stayed here twice in the past few years. Both times clean and quiet. Breakfast is good hotel buffet. The owners clearly care about their investment. Beds comfortable and clean. Pillow a bit lumpy but okay. They just remodeled (probably over COVID last year) - our room has a missing door knob and the water is reversed hot/cold. Funny. WiFi is strong. Hard to believe this is $400/night if you booked today. But this is peak season. I like the location because we prefer the quieter parts of MDI - easy to get around without slogging through Bar Harbor more than once.

4 of us visited Acadia and stay here...It was perfect for us. Laid back, great breakfasts, nice grounds, pool, and generally a fun place for us to be. It was covenient to the park, in town amusements and good restaurants. I recommend it.

This hotel is about 3 miles from the entrance of Acadia National Park, and it is about 7 miles from the town of Bal Harbor. There are other hotels that are closer to town; however, this hotel is priced well for its amenities. The breakfast is amazing! Jill in particular was a ray of sunshine every morning. She greeted everyone with a smile and seem to know exactly what you needed. She is 82 years young and does not miss a beat. In addition, the rooms were clean and everyone was friendly in front office.

This property should be the flagship for Best Western! Clean, so clean! Bedding excellent quality like 5 star hotel. Quiet, even though a motor lodge we couldn't hear other quests or neighbor's noise. Landscaping gorgeous and park-like. Heated swimming pool was divine after a day hiking Acadia. Breakfast hot with lots of choices and staff polite and accommodating. We were so delightfully surprised that so much perfection could be found at this Best Western. Must be pride of ownership, eh?

This was our first time visiting Acadia, and this motel is one of the reasons why we will be coming back every year. This place is extremely clean and the grounds are well kept and beautiful. Jeremy and Peggy Sue were behind the desk on our arrival and the both of them went out of their way to provide us with their knowledge of the area. The rooms are spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Water pressure was just fine. Jeremy and Peggy Sue were very helpful throughout our 6 day stay, as was the rest of the staff, with dining suggestions and attraction tips. This place is like something out of the past, when people cared about each other and the hospitality industry was actually hospitable! Great place and the bonus is that it is very close to Acadia and to the town itself. Lots of dining options close by. Thanks again Jeremy and Peggy Sue for making our stay very special and comfortable.

I booked an 8-night stay a while ago but had to break it into 3 reservations due to the room availability. Today I tried to call the hotel to see whether I can combine them into one so I don't need to switch rooms in between. To be frank, I didn't expect much given the hot vacation season this year. Maria in the customer service in the hotel helped me to check the room availability and there is no room available for the same type in that period which is what I expected. I can tell she was very busy handling several requests at the same time. But she explained it to me very patiently and promised to put a note in my first reservation to keep me in the same room if it is available. I got an email on my 1st reservation with a note on it in 15 mins. I was very satisfied with her efforts. Surprisingly, I got a call from Maria in another 10 mins. She was very excited to tell me that the same type of room is available now and she will make the change for me. What a pleasant surprise! She was really thinking about the customer's needs and went above and beyond to help. Thank you, Maria! You made my day! I have been to Best Western many times in other areas and am looking forward to my stay in Acadia this time.

Great location, clean and modern accommodations, decent breakfast, but staff hospitality is not above and beyond as we experienced at other stops on our trip. Check in is apparently not guaranteed until 4pm. So weigh that into your consideration. As others mentioned, you are assigned a room before you arrive, so even if the room type you requested is available and already cleaned from the previous guests, don't expect to be able to access anything early. If it's a special occasion like we were celebrating for an anniversary, you won't see even a note of congratulations. They made a point to catalog all the things not available at check in such as WiFi being temporarily down in our building (we experienced no lack of access) and rooms not being serviced (we were only staying one night so this service wouldn't even be expected). When we asked if we could check into a room in one of their buildings with no wifi issues since my husband needed WiFi for work, they said no, that our room was already assigned. This as I mentioned, wasn't an issue, but it seems odd to start your experience with all the negative instead of leading with the fact that in our location we may be able to access WiFi still. The staff could welcome guests by explaining all the nice things about the facility and the urgency in which they are trying to remedy any lack of services. Even on our first try at checking in, the front desk seemed to almost delight in not having to deal with us yet, instead of offering other solutions like holding our bags and or taking our number if the room should free up early. Maybe the front desk staff was having a rough day with the facility being sold out, but we were the only ones trying to check in at the time on both occasions and we definitely started off on a sour note.

My wife and I stayed at this place for 3 nights. On the 2nd day, I noticed an extra charge of $30 on my credit card from the hotel. When I inquired at the front desk, I was told that the $30 was for a NP pass that was charged to our room number. Since my wife just turned 62, she bought a senior NP pass ($80) that day. I explained this to the person at the front desk and so would not need to purchase a daily park pass for $30. However, the desk person insisted that I was the person that purchased the pass. Finally, she told us that you will take care of it. At the end of our hotel stay, we noticed that there was a charge of $30 for each of the 3 days. We were told that the charges would be credited. However, that never happened. Over the next two weeks, I called the hotel at least 3 times to inquire about the credit due, but it was never settled. We finally decided to call our credit card company for a dispute on the extra charges. The hotel never believe that I never purchased the $30 daily park pass despite my explanation to them on-site and on the phone.

WE stayed in this locations because of the reviews we had read. We were not disappointed. In addition to a perfect, quiet location the hotel and its staff were above expectations. The room was large and comfortable. More than that, the bathroom was plenty big with ample counter space. The breakfast area was well maintained and the food fresh and delicious, with many options.

The BW was just top-notch. The hotel and grounds are super clean and accommodating including tidy laundry room, well kept pool area, and manicured green space. The room was clean, fresh and spacious with nice updated bathroom. The front desk and staff were friendly and helpful with regards to hotel and helpful information about the park and surrounding town. The breakfast room and breakfast itself was a real pleasure with two attendants constantly making sure everything was refilled and neat. Food included waffles, eggs, breakfast meats, cereals and much more....

I've stayed in a lot of Best Westerns and they are a nice hotel chain overall, but this location is the best! It may be a chain hotel, but it sure doesn't feel like it! Joel, who runs the front desk was very nice, courteous, knowledgable and very friendly! Every other staff member was very nice as well! We will definitely be back again in the future, thanks for making this our stay that much better!

We loved this hotel. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is great. The room was comfortable but on the last morning we came back after a morning hike to no hot water. The staff had no answer and offered a “sorry” at best. We left unable to shower. That was disappointing.

We were very pleased with our room. We had two adult sons with us and reserved a King/2 single bed room. My sons a are very slim and average height but the singles would be too small for anyone over 6 feet tall. Our room was clean and in very good condition. The property has some nice amenities. There is a pool, playground, chairs and picnic tables on the grounds. The breakfast was outstanding. The variety and quality of the food was awesome. I am attaching menu from the breakfast. The motel is about a 10 minute drive into Bar Harbor. It is also about a 5 minute drive to the entrance to Acadia National Park. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. There was no daily room cleaning due to Covid but you can call front office and request fresh towels and they would deliver them to you. You could also go to the front office if you needed more toiletries. The breakfast also transitioned from the staff serving you to self service and on the last day the indoor seating opened up. If you're looking for a place to eat nearby, there is a BBQ place called Mainely Meats about 1/2 mile down the road. One other thing to note is that the front desk was not 24/7. They closed lifting the night. There was a doorbell to ring after hours.

The hotel was quiet and I loved the convenience of parking right by my door. The breakfast was good, and we were able to get food by 6:30AM before going to Acadia early to hike. The room was clean and comfortable. I would have given this 5 stars if we didn't have an issue with our shower. The shower/tub diverter valve didn't seem to work, so only half the water came out of the shower head. We also had a very slow drain so were standing in a few inches of water after each shower. We didn't notice this until we were already unpacked and settled in, so I didn't want to switch rooms or have someone come in to fix it while we were there. However, I did mention this when checking out and got some Best Western points for the inconvenience. I'm not sure how this could have gone unnoticed by the cleaning staff (or reported by a previous guest) so that it could have been fixed prior to my stay. I'm personally not a fan of the sliding barn style doors for the bathroom. They are cute, but don't really provide much privacy from a sound perspective. This is just my opinion. I'm sure others may like them. Just be aware in case this is something that might bother you depending on who you are traveling with :) Even given this, I would still recommend the hotel to others, and I would stay here again myself. Acadia and Bar Harbor are great places to visit and this hotel was a convenient home base for 6 nights while we vacationed.

The Cleanest Hotel We have ever stayed in .the staff is the best joel and his crew make you feel so welcome to be in bar harbor.the grounds are so well kept .and the breakfast is really good and they have a great variety every single morning. The location is also Wonderful with many great restaurants very close .will definitely return we loved our first visit to bar harbor

Room nice sized, grounds kept up beautifully with flowers, good swimming pool. Staff attentive with good service. In particular, Peggy Sue the night manager gave excellent service by finding a way to extend our stay one night despite the hotel being sold out.

Peggy Sue is a customer service beast. I dropped and cracked my styrofoam cooler. She GAVE ME HERS. Who does that! Shout out to PEGGY SUE. Thank You Rooms are clean and have a fresh look. I can see my self in the bathtub, it's so shiny. Location location location . Can't beat it.

Great location to Acadia Natl Park. Great breakfast and laundry room with 2 new washer and dryers each. Really good hot breakfast each morning with tons of options. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend this hotel if you are going to visit the area!

If you are looking for a budget friendly place that is clean and offers great service, then this is the place to be. We stayed for 2 nights and was great. Room service was perfect, everything was clean, and the staff was simply great. Situated very close to downtown and the Acadia National Park, location is perfect to get in and out. I highly recommend this place. You won't regret it.

No regard for elite status. We didn't like the room and they didn't want to change it, because other rooms were “assigned”, not that people already checked in. This is the laziest excuse I ever heard. Btw “super-clean” due to covid rooms had massive spiderwebs with spiders in them.

My daughter,her girls and myself were on our way home from seeing family but needed to stay a night before getting to the jetport in portland . i would give this motel higher than the "10" they offered if possible..Wonderful,friendly front desk people,hot coffee,/hot choc/cookies available in that area-and after we went into our room,i realized as i'm recouperating from a badly fractured foot,i'd rather not share with 4 of us,i went and booked a 2nd room and everything was so easy and wonderful. I've stayed at numerous BEST WESTERNS,but this one was beautiful,inside and also the grounds.

We have been coming to this Hotel for over 5 years, we wouldn't stay anywhere else ! The Hotel manager is excellent and has an outstanding staff. The room is always perfect and the WiFi is excellent. Beautiful exterior with flowers planted everywhere, picnic tables and chairs. Lobby is nice and at night is a nice place to stop in for a cup of coffee and freshly baked cookies. Breakfast was very nice, served a hot breakfast-along with muffins, cereal, fruit, juices and more. They figured out how to do breakfast, even during this time of COVID-19. So many hotels are doing nothing for breakfast, but this Hotel did an excellent job in serving a very nice breakfast. All staff at the Hotel are friendly and helpful. We are all ready planning our next trip back and we just got home ! Thank you for a wonderful stay and always taking good care of us. I am a Diamond member with Best Western and a Lifetime Titanium Elite with Marriott and I give this Hotel the best rating possible.

We picked this hotel because it was close to the Acadia National Park entrance. We were very pleased with the quality of the room. Also the location allowed us the find excellent places to eat without the crowded downtown ares. The day clerk (Mary) and the breakfast girl (Michelle) went out of their way to prepare a "to go" breakfast as we were leaving before the scheduled breakfast time. A VERY nice place to stay.

To be honest, we weren't expecting such a great facility at the price we paid. Of course, we went in mid-May, before the tourist season began, but we were still blown away! The room we had was fully updated, the staff was extremely helpful, and they managed to provide a hot breakfast, free, despite being on the tail end of the pandemic. This hotel is not directly in town, which we viewed as a plus. It was quiet and extremely comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed for 4 nights on my trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia. All staff were very nice and welcoming, great continental breakfast options, clean and nice rooms. I really liked the location, 5 minutes to the entrance of Acadia NP and 10 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor. Would stay again on my next trip.

This inn is so well organized and operated. Rooms are impeccable, the grounds well-kept. The hot breakfast is a treat in these COVID days when other hotels simply leave off giving breakfast. The location is ideal for visiting Acadia National Park.

We arrived after dark and were greeted by the extremely kind, professional, and helpful night manager, Peggy Sue. She provided multiple recommendations for places to eat and all were excellent. The hotel room was very clean, spacious, nicely decorated, and well kept with all the features we needed - queen beds, nice shower, microwave, fridge, fast wifi, etc. We loved being able to pull our car right up next to our room. We have come to expect this with Best Western hotels and we were not disappointed. The breakfast in the morning followed COVID code protocols and was still a very complete breakfast, served cafeteria-style. Way more than just a piece of fruit and a bowl of cereal. Overall we had a wonderful experience at the Best Western Acadia Park Inn.

It was a wonderful trip. Room and staff where awesome. Wil stay again. Breakfast was awesome. Temp in room was awesome. Ease of checking was perfect. And it was very quick. Not alot of people. Great..

Visited the Best Western from 9/19/2020 to 9/26/2020, staying in room 303 (2 Queen bed room) which was on the front side of the hotel very close to the office area and a short walk to the breakfast room and pool-area ice machine. The room was very nice, clean, modern and up-to-date, had plenty of electrical outlets for my devices (a great perk), and a great HVAC unit. I supposed many folks would be running heat at the time of my visit, but I love a cold room, so I ran the A/C or at least the fan most of the time. Due to Covid, no room service was happening at the time, but that was fine. I simply sat the trash bags out whenever they needed emptying, and new bags were furnished upon request. Whenever I needed new towels or linens, I simply called the front desk and they hung new ones on the door in a bag, and I bagged up the dirty ones and sat them outside the door as well. Bathroom was good, with lots of counter space on the sink area, an overhead light inside the shower stall (a real plus). I'm used to a "grab bar" inside the shower, so was disappointed there wasn't one inside. Room had a mini-fridge and microwave which I made good use of during the visit. My only real complaint was the lack of a hot breakfast, as all they were having due to Covid was "grab and go" items. I had to buy my "hot food items" elsewhere, then heat it up in the room in the mornings. I felt that an equivalent discount per night was in order due to the fact I had to spend extra money elsewhere to get a hot breakfast each morning. Considering my stay was for a full week, this added up to around $70, and a discount on the room rate would've been very handy. Perhaps this and all other hotels which offer a hot breakfast normally should consider daily gift cards to local restaurants to replace that meal most folks would get at the hotel instead of offering these "grab and go" items, as they just don't do the job a hot breakfast would do in getting one going in the morning. The staff was excellent to deal with during the visit, however. Everyone was friendly and helpful; it was nice seeing the same faces each day. Each evening, I went to the lobby to collect the "complementary cookies" offered, and it was always a pleasure to do so. There was even a "welcome gift" awaiting my arrival at the front desk upon check-in. I received a gift basket with some local food and drink items which I enjoyed a lot, and a nice wooden cutting board. While the location of this hotel isn't "right in" downtown Bar Harbor, it wasn't too far a drive, and traffic was never an issue between the hotel and town during our stay. It was very convenient to the Mainely Meats BBQ location just a short distance down the road, which I frequented during my visit. All in all, I would highly recommend a stay at the Best Western Acadia Inn while visiting the area. Hoping to return again someday in "non-Covid" times when things are much more "normal" in circumstances.

A fairly last-minute covid vacation -- I booked about a week before our early Oct trip, and was surprised to find this hotel (and just about everything else we drove past) to be fully booked when we arrived. We spent five nights here, and found this to be a great base for exploring Acadia. We were happy not to have stayed in downtown Bar Harbor. It was easy enough (and quick enough) to drive into town for dinners, and this was a good location to explore main Park Loop area, SW Harbor area, and Schoodic Peninsula. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good layout and microwave/fridge. Didn't have many interactions with staff, but those we did encounter were extremely pleasant and helpful. Packaged grab-and-go breakfast items didn't do it for me -- but the hotel gets points for trying to keep everyone safe. All in all, a really good experience.

This is our second stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean, no evidence of bedbugs, and you exit your room to your parking space which is convenient if you have bikes or things you want from the car. Staff is present until 9pm and you recognize the same faces that staff the dining area, front desk, cleaning crew. Everyone is very polite and it appears that they reinforce physical distancing and masking. Breakfast offerings are prepackaged and processed, but there are hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, , oranges and bananas if you favor unprocessed.

We stayed here for several nights while visiting Acadia. I called the desk ahead, informing them of our late arrival. They gladly made arrangements to leave our room key in a disclosed location . We found our envelope with key, and all important information. The room was very clean and very spacious. The breakfast offered plenty of prepacked foods, as cereal, yogurt, bagel, muffin, and more along with bananas and drinks. The kitchen staff person serving the food was very welcoming and warm. The front desk staff was very eager to suggest nearby places for dinner and directions. They replenished out towels, toiletries and more by dropping them off in a plastic bag by the door inside your room. We left our used towels and trash outside of our door and it was collected immediately. The heater/AC in the room worked very well but was a bit noisy at times. Internet was great . This hotel is very close to the national park entrance and downtown. Great find. We will certainly return.

Check-in was flawlessly efficient, contact free, and pleasant. The express check-out made things effortless when leaving, and the amenities offered in the room were clean and pleasant. The Grab-and-go breakfast was an outstanding value, safely individually packaged and offering a wonderful selection of food options both hot and cold. The bed was spacious, clean, and amazingly comfortable.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Acadia national park. This Best Western exceeded our expectations. Firstly the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Peggy gave us food take out recommendations, and everyone was on point. She went above and beyond and was a very genuine person. The room was clean and pretty updated! Nothing felt old or worn, and everything was sparkly clean. There are picnic tables around outside, and even a small playground in the back for kids, along with cornhole and some other adult type things. They handled Covid fantasticly. The breakfast building was closed to stay in and eat, but you walk in (masked of course), stand on your 6ft marker till it's your turn, and order what you like. They don't have much, it's continental, but a decent cup of coffee for sure. They have a bunch of tables set up outside the building for you to sit and eat. I have one small note/complaint about the room. Although the air conditioning/heating unit looked rather new, when it's running heat it's very loud. Woke us up a lot through the night. There was nothing wrong with the unit, it just seems like it's not meant to run heat. Close to Acadia park entrance, and close to Bar Harbor, about a few minutes to each. Also a couple great food places nearby like Mainely Meat BBQ on Dreamwood Hill has a delicious breakfast and good local coffee. The Chart Room has very good seafood. Next time we go to this beautiful area, I'd say we'd definitely stay here again.

Older hotel about 5 miles to downtown Bar Harbor. I presume that the reason it is higher cost is because of the area. Did include a pick and go breakfast. Had 2 rooms and they were a good size. Very quiet and clean.

Even in the age of COVID, we were not disappointed. While some things are different, the comfort and quality of our room was as good as always. The staff there is always very welcoming and helpful. Very close to one of Acadia's entrances. Close to town for dining and shopping.

The motel has all rooms on one level - a nice feature. Only 2 miles from the entrance to Acadia, 2 miles from nice lobster stands and only 5 miles from Bar Harbor. There's a pool, 2 well-located ice machines and they did a good job of making breakfast decent during COVID.

We came to Maine after cancelling our western national park trip due to covid. Maine allows NYers to visit without testing or quarantine. The hotel was pricey but I made reservations last minute so I had to take whatever I could find. The complex is several motel style buildings with a central building for breakfast and a communal pool. We were 3 adults and I reserved a suite which had 2 sleeping areas. The room was updated and clean. The one negative thing about the room was the use of "barn-style doors" which provide absolutely no noise privacy. We were unable to use the pool because of overcrowding by other guest and their lack of social distancing. Wifi password card was not in the room or written on our key folder. We called the front desk and got no answer so we went to the front desk which closed at 9:00pm. We tapped on the door and the agent treated us like idiots when we told her there was no card in the room nor was it written on the key folder as she insisted. Later, we did find it buried at the bottom of the check-in literature but it was not very prominent and easily missed if you don't study the paperwork. I suppose she was annoyed because apparently they close the lobby at 9 and she was off duty. Breakfast was included and the hotel figured out a good procedure to feed the guests and set up seating outdoors. Overall a good stay, we actually extended it one extra night. It's a few miles from Bar Harbor and Acadia so get going early to beat the crowds but overall we felt satisfied with our stay.

We were fortunate enough to check into our room at 10:30 AM. While the Best Western looks like a single story motel from the outside it is much better. We walked in and saw that our room was immaculately clean. The room was large as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. They did an excellent job with the grab and go breakfast. Social distancing was maintained on the line to get your food. There was a large assortment including hot items, fruit, cereal, etc. The hotel is only 2 miles from the entrance to Acadia National Park and is a convenient 10 minute drive into Bar Harbor. Our 3 night stay here was an excellent experience.

It was an absolutely wonderful stay, The rooms were very clean and pleasant, you could tell that there was a lot of pride in how they take care of their property. The beds were very comfortable and I slept very well. We stayed in the front part of the end and it was still very quiet. It is also very close to Bar Harbor and Cadillac Mountain which is absolutely beautiful and also Close to a miniature golf and there's lots of things of interest around the area. It is a great place for family, in the back area they have a play area for the children. They definitely have family in mind and want everyone to have a great time.

The room was carefully cleaned and nicely presented. The grounds are attractive and well-maintained. The breakfast was very thoughtfully handled -- the staff prepared each of us a tray based on our requests. I thought that was an excellent touch. The hotel is located an easy 10 minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor. It was a perfect place in which to jump off into the park. I would visit again!

Just a couple of miles north of town center in Bar Harbor, this place is laid out like a motel which makes it SUPER easy access to our room, especially in this day and age of COVID-19. No lobby or elevator to negotiate to get to your room. Safe parking lot to leave the bikes on the car rack. The rooms are simple but very clean, Wi-Fi and roomy enough to leave the bikes during a trip to town. Remember, room access is right from the curb. Pool, playground and picnic tables on the property.

We stayed at the hotel 3 nights during our family vacation to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The hotel is situated conveniently just a few miles from the park entrance and town. Prices were reasonable and only a fraction of the cost of lower quality accommodations located closer to town. The facilities were clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly, helpful and took adequate measures to ensure the safety of patrons during COVID. The extensive breakfast was a nice surprise as most other places only offer grab and go bags...if anything. Thank you for help making our trip memorable and enjoyable.

This is our first time to visit Bar Harbor and first stay in a Best Western hotel. We are very pleased and satisfied ,comfy beds,room is spacious for a family of 4 and perfect location,only 2 miles from Acadia National Park and about 4 miles to Downtown Bar harbor. Parking is right outside our door which is very accessible.Their seasoned staff are all very nice and helpful esp Dorine, Claire and Jill,thank you ladies! Breakfast is ok,multiple choices but are the same everyday, restaurants are about 4 miles drive though and you can do online order and pick up is easy. I commend their Covid 19 protocols,masks and hand sanitizers are in the reception and dinning area,well marked distancing too. My kids are happy with the pool which was near our room and of course the cookies every afternoon..they're the best! Thank you BW!

I stayed here for 2 nights for a weekend mountain biking trip at Acadia. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've had in a long time. Our room was close to the road but the very quiet AC blocked any road noise. It was spotless and a quick ride to Bar Harbor or Acadia.

The front desk staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to assure us of our safety during the pandemic. They seemed to be taking everything very seriously. The rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast was still offered in a safety cautious way. I would stay here again.

I know with all the uncertainty of travel, I wanted to make sure people know that this place does it absolutely right. From when we checked in with Peggy Sue (who is wonderful) there were masks and hand sanitizers readily available. The rooms were very clean, and in great shape. Due to restrictions, the breakfast was all packaged items, and the ladies Claire and Jill were very accommodating. The breakfast was basic (cereal, fruit, coffee muffins). The location of the hotel is Perfect! 10 min drive to the Hulls cove Visitor Center, and just a few minutes more to Bar Harbor. In the other direction a few minutes was a few restaurants and a small winery. The best western staff truly set our minds at ease, and we will be back!!!

This place was fantastic. Great service. Very clean. The staff is wonderful. One of the nicest places inn Bar Harbor. Cannot wait to go back there again. The cookies are fantastic. Close to everything yet very secluded. Great pool. I cannot ssay enough good things about our stay.

We stayed for 2 nights as a base to exploring Acadia National Park (it's less than a 10 minutes drive) and it was one of our best stays during our northeast road trip. The staff was very nice, cookies in the reception and s'mores making kits in the fire pit in the afternoon. The room was huge and clean, they had laundry facilities and the breakfast had great variety compared to other inns and motels we stayed during our trip.

We stayed here for one night. Location is ideal for the Acadia park visitors. The room was comfy and clean. The breakfast was nicely done, a good variety of selections. Staff was friendly. We received excellent service. We would recommend this hotel.

First time staying at a Best Western and we were pleasantly surprised. The property was well maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms had plenty of space, comfortable beds and large bathroom. The location is great. Within a mile of the park. And just a little further into Bar Harbor. I highly recommend this property. I will stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff at this motel. They welcomed us with warm cookies and popcorn. Free coffee and tea and a homey atmosphere in the lobby. Good breakfast with lots of options. Wild blueberry jam is delicious! The rooms were modern and clean. Beds very comfortable. Plenty of parking right outside the room Well outside Bar Harbor busyness so it was easy to get around..

We are Best Western Gold members and, despite the rave reviews we read, we were a little leery about this property that from the exterior photos looked like an old-fashioned motel. The photos did not tell the story here. The room was very comfortable and modern-as nice as most Best Western Plus properties. The staff was friendly and attentive and the amenities special. Warm cookies in the late afternoon and at night a small fire pit out back where Adam would hand out S'more kits and long sticks to guests-a wonderful event on a chilly night in Maine. The breakfast layout was excellent. Plenty of choice and good quality food. The hotel is only a mile or 2 from the Park Visitor Center; about 20 minutes or so from the top of Cadillac Mountain and about 15 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor. We would stay there again anytime.

Loved our stay! Newly renovated! Room was amazing! King size bed, large bathroom plus a walk-in closet area. Quiet. Friendly warm staff. Plenty of options at continental breakfast. Will definitely stay here again!

Was able to snag the last room at this hotel 3 weeks before we left on vacation and was expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised. Although they had outdoor room entry, the rooms were large, clean and modern. Breakfast was more than adequate with a good variety. Location was close to Bar Harbor and the entrance to Acadia National Park. The front desk staff was very helpful with recommendations of restaurants and other things of interest in the area. Would stay again without hesitation.

We stumbled upon the Best Western Acadia Inn accidentally. Though regulars in the Bar Harbor area, we were never acquainted with this gem. The price grabbed our attention. The location, cleanliness, staff, and continental breakfast will definitely have us returning. Kudos to all!

This was our second visit to the Best Western Acadia Park Inn.. We visited in 2018 and again this year. The hotel is very nice, clean and convenient. It is conveniently located on Acadia Park but not in a town. Its very close to Bar Harbor but yet in the county so you have quiet and peacefulness. There are lots of restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute drive. Bar Harbor is only about a 10 minute drive. The other Acadia Park attractions such as light houses etc.. are a short drive away. The fire pit and chairs are a nice amenity. Staff are always delightful and very helpful. When you arrive you must ask about the chipmunk, a nice pet and mascot.

Nice new facility located north of the busy Bar Harbor Village district and north of all the other hotels. It was out of the way and quiet. Great property with lots of room, wonderful flowers and very nice staff.

The Best Western Acadia hotel is an excellent hotel for Acadia National Park visitors and is also close to Bar Harbor as well. The rooms are clean, roomy and comfortable. The free breakfast is good as well. It is a very good value for the money spent.

Located about 2 miles to the gate of Acadia National park and 4 miles west of Bar Harbor. Very good value with full breakfast, afternoon snacks (cookies and smores) and 24 hours coffee and tea in the lobby. Newly renovated, plenty of parking, nice and very clean grounds and landscape. Beds were so comfy. Bathroom was new and clean. Enjoyed our stay. Relaxing atmosphere.

I do typically stay at BWs, but this one is extremely nice. It is super clean with a very friendly staff. The breakfast is very good and they have coffee, teas, and snacks available in the lobby for most of the day. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom looked as if it had been remodeled. The beds were very comfortable & wifi was speedy. Breakfast had a great spread! Their cheesy omelets were amazing!!! Definitely would recommend this hotel to others!

Nice area to walk around the site, lots of green space. Staff was able to get deep discounts for harbor cruises. No complaints. Short drive to Acadia park. Restaurants near. Quiet this time of year. Very nice.

Booked this Hotel early in the year, wasn't sure what to expect,the reviews were good, but the Best Westerns in the midwest are run down. The people at the front desk said it had been completely renovated the room was great. The people at the front desk were so nice and full of knowledge about the area. I would definately stay here again if I return to the area.

This hotel has been newly remodeled and brings to mind a vintage motor lodge. The location is away from downtown Bar Harbor and is very quiet even though off the busy road into town. The grounds are lovely with deer sometimes grazing outside your door. The staff were very friendly and hot coffee, tea, cookies and popcorn were available in the lobby with a nice fireplace seating area. Our bedroom with two queen beds was spotless and we had a large bathroom with fluffy towels, a nice shower and loads of hot water. The bathroom had barn doors instead of a door that swung into the bathroom and a night light. A refrigerator, microwave and large flat screen TV were in the room and there were plenty of plugs for electronics. Now for the best part. The hot breakfast varied every day and there were so many hot and cold breakfast items to choose from. The breakfast area was large with a sun room atmosphere and comfortable seating. I asked why this was not a BW Plus and was told the only reason they didn't qualify is that they weren't open year round. There were also some great restaurants nearby where you didn't have to go into Bar Harbor and wait forever for a table. If you really don't like the traffic and commotion of staying in Bar Harbor this is the place to stay. It is still just a few minutes out of town and there are access roads to the Southwest Harbor that keep you away from the traffic mess in town.

We stayed here back in 2007, and spent the whole time struggling with internet access and services. This time, the hotel has had a significant renovation and is sparkling clean, nicely appointed and very comfortable. The staff, especially Dorene, is particularly accommodating. No issues with wifi or anything else. We will stay here again—but off-season, when it's a little more affordable.

Friendly staff. Clean spacious rooms. Activities for everyone to join in. Saw some wildlife. Overall great experience. Breakfast was good. On main drag. Parking spots large. For the price of room great value for what you get.

While the room and the location are great, the staff makes this place exceptional. In the evening Adam makes a fire for quests to make s'mores. He is a great person with great stories. He makes you feel like you are at home with family. The front desk staff is just as friendly as Adam. I would definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I spent 4 nights last week. This motel hit the mark on all fronts. Clean rooms, lovely grounds, spotless laundry room and very welcoming lobby. Very friendly and cheerful staff. An easy car ride to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. The breakfast buffet had an array of offerings in a very nice separate building. I hope they consider making the transition away from the small toiletry bottles to wall mounted to help do their part for the environment. We strongly recommend this property.

This is a motel type hotel. Lovely clean and well furnished room. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. Easy to get to Bar Harbor where there are lots of excellent restaurants. Pirate crazy golf close by. Coffee and cakes in reception each after noon is a lovely touch.

This Best Western location is excellent. It is quaint and updated and fresh. The price is a great value. This property looks like it was just opened, clean and fresh and well-appointed. The grounds are perfect. The breakfast rivals any local eatery, and at a much better value. I have stayed a lot at the competition such as Holiday Inn, Hampton, Inn, Quality Inn. This place is superior and I highly recommend it when staying near Bar Harbor.

Best feature was the new clean guest laundry room; breakfast eggs cheese not melted; room dated and small but clean, new nice shower; secure WiFi; good parking; fire pit s'mores and playground nice; office staff helpful; and grounds well maintained. It was just too expensive, we like the Best Western chain but wished we had considered local alternatives.

We were totally satisfied in staying at this Best Western. ALL the staff was very friendly, and so easy to deal with ... the breakfast is scrumptious and plentiful. That staff is awesome. Housekeeping had the room spotless and fresh. Wonderful job. The grounds are meticiously kept. Don't know when we have been to a more well kept location. Flowers were amazing...

We stayed one night at The Best Western Acadia in Bar Harbor. Room was excellent, quiet, roomy, a sitting room with additional tv, very clean. Grounds were lovely too, pool and playground for children. It was convenient to town, 4 or 5 miles by car. Breakfast was great, buffet style, hot and cold items, lots of choices. Price for all we got in Bar Harbor was very good. We will stay again if in Acadia.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, Location of the Hotel is good, comfortable bed and bathroom. Hotel facilities are very good, including Pool and good parking spots infront of the room. Staffs are very friendly especially the ladies in the breakfast area, they did a awesome job. We really enjoyed the breakfast. One thing we were little uncomfortable was with the shower heads in the bathroom, the water was not flowing properly even after doing some adjustments. May be the hotel management can look into it. But Overall we had a nice stay there. I would recommend this hotel!!!

From the time we registered, until we checked ou we were treated like we were the only guests on the property. They pointed us in the perfect direction for the perfect dinner. Adam was excellent with the. Hildren and adults while all were making s'mores. He was very knowledgeable of the area and wildlife in the area. Breakfast was excellent...many choices and all delicious. I recommend this motel highly.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. All the amenities of home plus cookies in the afternoon with coffee or tea, popcorn in the evening or s'mores! Friendly staff and nice selection for breakfast. You can catch the Bar Harbor free shuttle just about any where from this hotel.

From the moment I arrived at the Motel I knew I had made the best choice...when I walked in the room it was soooo clean. My bed was made to perfection...I felt guilty pulling the blanket and sheets down to get in. I could tell my housekeeper (Odette)went the extra mile to make her rooms exceptional. I was amazed at how quiet it was at night and in the morning. I never heard my neighbors. Breakfast the next day was wonderful, eggs, bacon, waffles, potatoes, toast, muffins and so much more. Each day was a pleasant surprise as the hot items would change. The Staff were very accommodating and made you feel welcome. The fire pit, playground and outdoor pool were great for the kids and the nighttime snack of cookies and cocoa in the lobby were an excellent touch. I can't forget to mention S'mores by the fire pit in the evening were always delicious. I had one of the best vacations at the Best Western Acadia Park Inn. I will definitely be back.

We stayed 3 nights at hotel with our 2 kids (11, 13). Very clean and updated room with small refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast each morning was included and had many different items to choose from. My boys enjoyed swimming in the heated pool after a day of hiking the park. Also, s'mores each night with Adam (supervised the fire) was a treat. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful with any questions. Short drive into town (although along free shuttle route - but we did not use) and close to Acadia National Park. Great miniature golf and ice cream spot down the road! Would definitely return again.

Our family visited Bar Harbor for the first time and other small towns. It is a wonderful place to visit which will not only lift your spirit, but heal the soul. However, staying at this hotel was a very somber like. On our first day we stopped in the main lobby to grab a cup of coffee after a long drive after checking in, my kids also took couple cookies that was offered. Soon after a staff stood up and tried to get into a confrontation with us about the kids touching them, as if my kids where not good enough to have them. Later that night someone happened to be right next door to us, in a separate room that was for handicapThat person would knock on the wall all night up to 1am non stop. The next morning we noticed no one had checked into that room and it stayed empty until our last night. On our last night stay we had left for dinner for my daughter's birthday, when returned that night would be become our worse stay ever. As we tried to pull into our parking spot another person drove into the same spot in an erratic fashion. Now, we had parked every night on the same spot, right in front of our hotel room, and so did everyone else. And sure enough this new guess would be staying in that same room with the handicap parking spot, but he didn't appeared to be handicap. The new guess also would pound on the walls until mid-night, and then woke up at 5am yelling and laugh in the early morning. It happened be the morning we would be checking out. We strongly believe that it was the staff members doing this the whole as to inhumane us, which was immortally wrong and unprofessional. All because of some cookies!?!?!? This review has been submitted in good faith!

stayed 1 night fairly close to bar harbor. not sure if it's on bus route a bus driver told me we could use bus number 1 but we didn't try it. they look to have a nice variety for breakfast but it was busy so we didn't try that either.

This property is very hard to beat for the cost. Very clean, great complimentary breakfast and close to both the park entrances and Bar Harbor. Friendly staff, excellent housekeeping and beautiful grounds made this a great home base for our trip.

We stayed here as a family with teenagers and we would definitely recommend this motel. It was spotlessly clean everywhere. The receptionist was extremely helpful and we enjoyed using the free bus to get to the busy Bar Harbor village, which meant we could enjoy happy hour and get the bus back. The pool was great and the beeswax well presented. We will definitely stay here again when back in the area.

The total experience was excellent. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms have been renovated recently and are excellently appointed. The hotel is near Acadia National Park which was a huge plus for us. This is an excellent place to stay.

Clean hotel, really good breakfast. Located just outside Bar Harbor town center, close to entrance to Acadia National Park. Hotel has a small pool, we did not have time to enjoy it. Quiet rooms, convenient parking.

The rooms were clean and it was a great location only a few minutes fRom downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We did not take advantage of the complimentary breakfast, but the cookies and popcorn were a nice treat.

Upon checking in around 5 pm we met Doreen and were so thankful she was the one checking us in! There was an error in our reservation and Doreen fixed it immediately despite being sold out. She was swift, professional, and kind and good humored which made us feel at home. We are traveling with two older children and the amenities were surprising! There were free homemade cookies and popcorn upon arrival, a warm pool, and s'mores. The s'mores activity was done by 8 pm and the pool closes at 9. The rooms are easy to access because they are all on the first floor and you can park right in front of your room, the grounds are gorgeous (flowers everywhere), and everything is very clean and new! The rooms are spacious and very stylish with the trendy barn door style bathroom door. There was plenty of choices on Tv for my kids to watch and my husband was able to do his work so the WiFi was ample. The showers were nice, and the pillows and bedding were comfy. The location is very close to the Hulls Cove Entrance to Acadia National Park and only few minutes drive from town. It's actually nice being outside of town because it is so busy there in summer and it's so quiet and peaceful here. It's also located very close to the restaurant Maine Meat just down the street which is kid-friendly and offers all the usual Maine lobster fare plus bbq'd meats. Not sure if it's walking distance. We didn't eat there because we had a leftover picnic that we were able to keep in the refrigerator in our room and then pull out and eat on the big round table in our room. The benches in the room are also convenient not just for suitcase but for gathering - we had our parents with us so they were able to join us for the picnic in the room since the rooms were so spacious. The breakfast was awesome!! I am vegan and they had vegetarian beans with salsa! I was so happy! This is the most beautiful, clean and new Best Western at which I've ever stayed. The rate is worth every penny.

A friend and I spent 2 nights at the Best Western Acadia Park Inn. It was a great experience! We were located right outside the park so it was very convenient to get to Bar Harbor and any locations in the park that we needed! The bed was super comfortable, the free breakfast was so helpful to fill us up before a day of hiking and biking in Acadia, and the pool was a nice perk. Overall it was a fantastic hotel and I highly suggest staying here!

Hotel was spotless! The cleanest Best Western I have ever stayed at! Breakfast was good. Workers friendly and helpful. Close to the park and shopping! I can't find one negative thing to say about this Hotel!

We can always count on Best Western to be good. The room was plenty big and very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice shower. Internet worked well. Breakfast was good. Cindy, the night manager, was very helpful. We had to call from the side of the road as we were behind schedule due to weather. She could not have been nicer or more helpful. The desk clerk at check in was also very nice and friendly. And Adam, who helped with the S'mores around the fire pit was just as nice, friendly, and helpful as could be. All made for a very nice stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, beautiful, and newly redone. The staff was exceptional and truly wanted to be sure our stay was excellent. This was the best hotel breakfast we had on our vacation.

This hotel was clean and the staff was nice. Check in and check out was easy and our room was ready on arrival. It was nice to have a breakfast option on site, especially with children. However, the pool was small and old outdated.

I'm not one to write a review but this place deserves one. Check in was easy and front desk was very helpful with things to do and see in the area. The room was clean and updated. Breakfast was fantastic, there were many choices. Check out was a breeze. Only issue I had but did not bring it up was the maid did not replenish the coffee/tea or our pool towels. The front desk was more than happy to give me more. I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm up in the area.

Wonderful! Great location right outside Acadia National Park. Room and bathroom were spacious with plenty of storage. Beds were very comfortable. Grounds were well maintained with flowers and greenery. Several places available to sit outside around the grounds. Laundry facilities were very clean and cheaper than other places we had stayed. Breakfast area had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and many hot and cold options that varied daily. Encountered several staff throughout our stay and all were very friendly. They provide s'mores at 6:30 nightly around a fire pit. There is also a playground area. The swimming pool was very nice with comfortable chairs. This hotel is all one level which we find very convenient. We would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

The hotel is sparkling clean all around. The suite was brand new, or at least looked to be so. The playground/sandpit/fire pit (with complementary s'mores) is a perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. Breakfast bar was extremely well stocked and above average quality for hotel breakfast. We will definitely be back!

Rooms were newly remodeled! Breakfast was great and they change it up every day. Nice location close to Acadia national park. Only complaint is the shower had poor pressure and the coffee pot was stored in the bathroom which was a bit odd.

In deciding where to stay for our trip to Bar Harbor, we chose the Best Western Acadia Park Inn because of the location and also the other reviews. We were so happy we chose this hotel! It is convenient to Bar Harbor downtown but also nice and quiet. The hotel has recently been redecorating and upgrading both inside and outside. Our room was beautiful and well appointed. The bed was so comfortable we almost were late for our booking on the Lulu Lobster boat ride! Definitely will stay here again when we visit Mount Desert Island!!

Myself and my family of 4 stayed in this Best Western Acadia Park Inn. This Place was really convenient as it was really close to the park. We arrived earlier than our check in time, but the receptionist was extremely nice and was able to give me a room right away. Check-in took less than 5 minutes and they had everything ready as soon as I arrived. The room was clean and well maintained. The continental Breakfast was excellent and really enjoyable. The hospitality was amazing. I highly recommend this place for any type of family for any length of stay. Area is really well kept and parking is right in front of your unit.

Wish we lived closer so we could come back more often. Amazing hotel for the price, clean, and friendly staff. Everything was top notch. Not a single thing to complain about. We loved the bonfires and s'mores each night on the property, even had deer visitors each night.

Our stay in June was delightful, the rooms were immaculate and appeared newly decorated. The breakfast room was very nicely set up with a great variety of breakfast choices. We had a room on the front and none had screens on the windows, so my husband called the front desk and asked if they would put one on. The rooms on the back had screens and the weather was perfect for fresh air. With in 20 minutes we had a screen on, the staff were awesome, such service and so friendly. Thank you .

This was a great hotel and the staff was amazing especially Dorothy at the Front Desk. Very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the area was awespme for sightseeing. The restaurants Dorothy recommended were a ten plus rating.

Nice, clean, updated motel. Shower water pressure was poor, we had unresolved door latch issues + poor sound insulation (We could heat our neighbors tinkle/snore). Definitely a great last minute Acadia NP lodging with a good breakfast, kind staff, and s'mores in the evening + a bocce ball court.

Upon arriving we noticed a mildew smell in the room(room 115) that was not very pleasant...something akin to smelly socks. Also the walls must be fairly thin as you could hear TVs, people talking, showers and toilets in neighboring units. There was a gap at the bottom of the exterior door where light could visibly be seen pouring in. We brought the smell to the attention of the front desk and the manager came to our room, sniffed around, and said she didn't smell anything however she was(perhaps conveniently) not sensitize to sounds or smells. The entire hotel was booked and there was not another room available...she offered to put baking soda on the carpet but aside from that there was nothing else she said she could do. The only reason I am writing this review is to warn other fellow travelers that are sensitive to smells and sounds to think twice before paying the relatively high prices this place charges while offering just a basic room. To be fair, the hotel was being newly painted and was recently renovated however this appears to be just a surface layer improvement to a building that may have likely needed more substantive structural improvements. Also, on a positive note, the front desk was friendly and helpful with suggestions for the park and restaurants. So, I'll let you decide...maybe it was that particular room...or maybe your not that picky and your stay will be fine but either way I wish you an enjoyable visit to this paradise known as Mount Desert Island!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and we had a very good stay. The room is spacious with very comfortable beds and the bathroom is huge. The outdoor heated pool is very nice and refreshing! The breakfast goes from 6:30 to 10:00 and was very delicious. However the hotel is a little far from town and the walls are very thin. When we were trying to sleep you could hear people talking or water running. Overall this is a very nice hotel and would definitely recommend it.

We stayed for three nights during a 6 week trip and this was one of the top three hotels we stayed at. It is a great location for Bar Harbor and Acadia with reasonable rates. The stay is friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size, comfortable and quiet. We got great nights sleep and the breakfast was very good. It was varied, changed daily and well maintained. They also had a nice supply of Whoopi's pies and cookies in the late afternoon. My only two small issues is that during day two, the hot water in the shower was never hot and the printer in the business center never worked.

This hotel has very fresh and modern rooms. Looks like it was recently remodeled. The staff were top notch, attentive, and very friendly. The man who checked us in made us feel very welcome after a long trip. The breakfast was also fantastic. We will be back!

It was very clean and very nice rooms!! Very comfortable and relaxing!! There breakfasts are always good. The front desk staff were very helpful on places to eat and to check out! Nice and quiet. Will stay there again if I go back. Only down fall you are still out of town 4-5 miles. But they have many options for taxi services if you want to enjoy the night life!

Excellent stay at this hotel. Very well cared for. Clean as could possibly be, bed comfy, peaceful and quiet. Very spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Best breakfast we have had on this road trip. They had plenty of staff to keep everything topped up and the tables cleaned as each guest left. We will be back without question.

We visited the area just before the Memorial weekend. There weren't that many people yet so it was nice & quiet. Our room was facing the main road but we did not hear traffic. The property was newly remodeled so everything was updated & clean. The complementary breakfast was really good - they even had gluten free breads! We left a pair of sweatpants after we checked out and house keeping found it & the hotel mailed it to us on Seattle without charge! We would go back there again

We spent a week at the Best Western and we would absolutely stay here again. The location is ideal. It's close to Acadia National Park and to downtown Bar Harbor, a major plus. It was almost like home returning to our room after a long day of hiking, it just felt so comfortable and relaxing. We were also impressed with the staff (day and evening), everyone we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful.The breakfast was very nice, with plentiful and various options each day. We also enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea available all day in the lobby. The free wifi was also a nice perk. Best Western offered everything we needed for an enjoyable vacation.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed ourself here at Best Western Acadia. It had a campground feeling to it, bringing back fond memories. Surrounded by trees and away from the city. Would definitely recommend this hotel/motel.

We traveled from the midwest, through New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire to get to Bar Harbor, ME. Acadia National Park was our destination but the Best Western was our choice of hotels and I'm so happy we chose it. I made reservations for two rooms several months ago and they were very helpful through emails. Unfortunately it was raining when we arrived later in the evening but we were treated with friendly check-in staff. They offered us cookies and some hot tea and that was nice and comfy. Our rooms were great. Nice sized and the beds were comfy. We all had a good night's sleep. The bathrooms were nice size too. We used the laundry facilities which were in the process of being renovated. They have two washers and dryers available which is nice if there are several guests needing to use them. Breakfast was available in a large dining room and it was very good. All in all we were very pleased with our stay here and definitely use it again if we ever get the chance to come back.

Close to hiking opportunities in the park. Complimentary breakfast open at 6:30, which has both hot and cold items. After hiking all day, I would grab a complimentary cookie and tea from the lobby to enjoy in my room. Very clean rooms. My husband and I have stayed here twice and most likely will keep returning.

The hotel is about 10 mins from town center. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was well decorated. Only drawbacks - imperfect bathrooms and thin walls (you can hear your neighbors peeing and snoring)

We were pleasantly surprised at how friendly the front desk staff, housekeepers, and breakfast staff were. Rooms were recently renovated. Internet Access also worked flawlessly. We can't wait to return to the area and this hotel! :-)

This hotel is a perfect distance from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Even though it's on the busy thoroughfare, the rooms were quiet. We enjoyed the fire pits and the grounds are well-kept. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great! Variety each day, restocked often and with plenty of seating. This was a great deal and would've stayed longer if time allowed.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel! Don't let its unassuming exterior fool you. The rooms are newly renovated -they're very clean and tastefully done. And the beds are soo comfortable!! The property is surrounded by woods, which is perfect for the location. The breakfast building is like a little restaurant with a full breakfast buffet - delicious. We also really enjoyed the afternoon coffee/tea and sweet treat that was provided daily. All the staff were extremely courteous and accommodating. They were also very knowledgeable about the island and Acadia. This hotel is in close proximity to Acadia, making it very convenient if you plan to spend time there while on the island.

This hotel has a friendly staff and is a great value. We arrived after the front desk closed; not only were the after-hours instructions easy to follow and our key easy to find, the note that accompanied our check-in materials clearly showed the staff here cares about their guests and hotel. We'd happily return.

I stayed here in October, it was beautiful, I love this best western, the location is near one of the entrance for Acadia national park, the free breakfast is very good and convenient. I can't wait to go back.

My family and I stayed here for a vacation. We were here for three nights before heading south to Portland, ME. We arrived at the Best Western late due to unanticipated delays, but the staff were very accommodating. They made me and my family feel very welcome. The location was great for visiting Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. The continental breakfast was also yummy. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here twice on two separate trips to Bar Harbor Maine. This is a nice hotel close to Acadia National Park. Staff is friendly here and easy to check in and check out. They renovated since the last time I was here...to give a little more space in the bathroom. there is now a sliding door to give the full length of the bathtub to the sink. In the main office, there's coffee and tea, and cookies to welcome you...also every day til they run out. There's also popcorn too. Don't forget S'mores 6pm-7pm ET daily was well by the playground. Free parking, wi-fi and continental breakfast during your stay. Beds are comfortable. Wi-Fi can have a weak signal at times and tv channels are a bit limited...but who stays in the room all day right? The room rates are good compared to staying within Acadia Park itself. AAA members go a discount rate and also sign up for Best Western membership as well to get points towards your next stay.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in July 2018. It is located on a quiet section of the highway leading into Bar Harbor. It looks like a drive-up motel of yesteryear, but each room has been beautifully renovated. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, has lots of space, and is well-tended by some delightful folks. It was such a peaceful stay! There is a great BBQ joint a very short distance down the road. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park get VERY crowded in the summer. We were there June 10-15 with very low crowd. The motel staff said the next week it would start being crazy crowded.

I stayed here in September 2016 and loved it so much that my daughter booked me a weeks stay as my birthday gift this year. Everyone - from the reception desk to the housekeeper-- was friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful-- they had been updated since my last visit-- and contain all the conveniences one could ask for. For me, however, the best thing is the bed. Just incredibly comfortable and cozy with luxurious, warm ( but lightweight) bedding. I can't wait to visit again.

Don't let the outside of this place scare you! It's completely remodeled on the inside and is a really nice Best western! I understand they are going to re do the outside next year. It was comfortable, clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was spacious and had 2 people working so it was always full and clean. It's just right down the hwy from the entrance to Acadia so it's very close to the park.

For a location about 10 minutes from Bar Harbor you get a much lower rate for a very good motel. The place was full both nights we stayed there, yet everything was quiet. Our beds were excellent, there was a full breakfast with the best crispy bacon ever, and the receptionist gave us some good tips on where to go and what to do. This is a quality property that we will stay at again.

My hubby and I stayed here this past week. I was not happy when we pulled up because this Best Western looks like a old tim drive up to the door motel. Don't let that scare you! It's been totally remodeled on the inside and the rooms are very nice and the usual high standards of B.W.chain. The location is great and the breakfast was the usual B.W. fare but had two people taking care of it and keeping it clean and full. This was one of the nicest Best Western stays I've had!

I've been staying here the past 3 years for my annual photography trip and couldn't be happier. Everything from room cleanliness to a caring staff keeps me coming back. The proximity to Acadia National Park is also a added bonus for me. It's close to everything without being overwhelmed by the crowds in central Bar Harbor. All around great experience.

Hotel location is a bit far from town (2 miles) and quite isolated. However, it offers travelers what they usually need and expect - a nice room, quite, and a reasonable breakfast. Room was cozy and large.

Our stay at the BW Acadia Park Inn was delightful. We enjoyed the comfortable beds after a long day of touring. The popcorn was a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent .The food items were varied and plentiful. You would be hard pressed to find better menu items at most restaurants.

A large room with 2 beds. There was a microwave and a small refrigerator. Staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was extensive with 4 cereals, oatmeal, bagels and crème cheese, eggs, waffles, apples, muffins, yogurt. It is 2 ½ miles to the Acadia NP visitor center and about 7 miles to Bar Harbor. It was an enjoyable stay.

I was impressed with this hotel. We always try and stay at a Best Western. Customer service was great, from hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby to popcorn later. After a day of hiking, this hit the spot. Beds were comfortable and there was very little noise from rooms above you since everything is on one floor. Breakfast the first day was great and the 2nd day was good just something different than the day before. Very close to Acadia N P.

Good price for:- clean beds- nice room- excellent breakfast (much better than average continent breakfast)- good wireless internet- close enough to Acadia National Park (3 miles) and downtown Bar Harbor (7 - 9 miles)

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. They gave us directions and a map of the construction area in Bar Harbor. They also recommended several area restaurants. The Inn is just a short distance from the entrance to the Acadia National Park and the activities in downtown, without being in the busy downtown area.

I really went back and forth trying to find a place for our October visit knowing it would Be cold and kind of off-season. I wasn't interested in roughing it and this place was great. Conveniently located right off of route 3 and our room was recently renovated and very nice. We were very pleased overall and they had the best free hotel breakfast I've ever had. Leave a tip for the breakfast staff because they deserve it! Dean at the front desk was so patient and informative even though I'm sure he's given out the same info a million times. I would definitely recommend this place to other visitors. My only complaint is that our room fridge didn't work properly and we had to throw out food that we had purchased. We spent three nights here.

The location was ideal for the hiking trip we planned to Acadia National park. Good, hot breakfast options were available daily. Comfortable beds, free wi fi and evening s'mores were a treat to return after a long hike. Would stay here again when we return to the area.

Our decision to stay at the BW Acadia Park Inn was indeed a winning choice. Pulling in it to well maintained grounds and being greeted so professionally, it was easy to see the pride taken by the staff. Our room was clean, well appointed, modern and extremely comfortable. The large room featured a mini-frig, microwave, coffeemaker, safe and wonderfully comfortable king size bed. The bathroom was was updated and lacked nothing that was needed. We were very impressed by the breakfast! There were plenty of choices and most impressively, the sausage was grilled rather than the blonde unappetizing stuff you get a most hotels. The fact that the hotel is a few mile from downtown wasn't really a problem. This was a great value.

My husband is a landscape photographer. We booked a week in Maine to shoot fall foliage and small fishing villages and the like. We located this Best Western and booked months ago. I was really impressed by the genuine warmth of the staff, the ever-ready hot beverages and the great cookies put out, fresh from the oven, at 3:00. It was damp and rainy for most of our time, but sitting in the office workspace in front of the fire was more pleasant than sitting at the table in our room. And the breakfast included in our room rate was amazing. Hot entrees, fruits, cereals, many bread options and excellent coffee was a great way to start every day or come back for after photographing sunrise in the park.

My wife and I stayed a week in Oct 2018.. Very clean, very nice staff, very good breakfast. Very helpful with where to eat or visit. We would stay here again and recommend it. Very quite and comfortable.

Went to Bar Harbor for a few days . We stayed at the best western Acadia. It was a great place to stay. The pool was still heated on oct 7, 8, 9,. the room was adequate. The front desk people were exceptional and very very helpful . The breakfast was very tasty and war. We spent 2 nites there. No complaints at all. Getting into town itself was the difficulty we had. This is one of the nicest Best Westerns I've stayed in. The staff was wonderful. Great coffee and cookies in the lobby. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room was large and clean. The room was larger than most and the bathroom was enormous! The room was new, clean, and comfortable. Even the grounds were very well kept, with nice flower gardens. There is also a pool and laundry facilities.

My husband, 10-year-old son and I stayed here for our trip to Acadia NP. The front desk staff is really great. They clearly cater to and love families. They light the firepit each night and give you the stuff to make smores. They hand you a puzzle book and crayons when you arrive. They tell you where deer gather on the property for viewing. The entire property is well-maintained. The rooms are clean and newly updated. The lobby feels like a comfy living room. And they not only had coffee available, but also hot chocolate. It was all really great. And we appreciated every detail. The s'mores were my son's favorite part.

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Exterior is a little dated, but do not let that deter you. I was in the area to visit Acadia National Park and stayed here four nights. The rooms appear to have been recently updated and my room was exceptionally clean on arrival and was the same way when I returned each evening, the beds were comfortable and the shower warm after a day of hiking in the park. The location is convenient to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and really all of Mount Desert Island. There was construction going on while we were staying requiring a detour but did not impact our stay. Good hot breakfast in the mornings, I was traveling with a friend with a gluten allergy, we really appreciated the gluten free items made available. Hot beverages in the lobby and cookies as well, I really enjoyed Whoopie Pie Wednesday! Overall, a really wonderful stay, would certainly choose to stay here again. The price was a bit on the steep side for me, however, was comparable to other hotels in the area for the time we were visiting.

This building is probably an old motel, but the rooms are spacious, as is the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the linens crisp. The did s'mores in the evening and had fresh tea, coffe and cookies when we checked in. It isn't in Bar Harbor village but about 7-8 minutes out but is only 5 minutes from the Acadia National Park information center.

This is a top notch property and the rooms were excellent. This is a great location to be able to travel to all of Bar Harbor Island. I was very impressed with the marsh mellow roasting event even thought I didn't have children with me. The bath was very modern and comfortable. The beds were very nice and comfortable. There was great convenient parking. The breakfast very good. The rooms were very affordable and a great value. All hotel/motel amenities are there.

This BW takes clean seriously! While most locations have been remodeled as well, they slack on little details like leaving litter outside or the exterior looking drab. Here, the landscaping was neat with fresh colorful flowers, park/fire pit area was maintained and housekeeping thoroughly cleaned my room each day which I rarely have seen at other motels. I like doing my laundry on vacation but was weary because I saw they were outside and thought, gross, but they were spotless! Cleaner than my home which made my stay comfortable. Room was nice and I like the addition of a sliding door to the bathroom so I can get ready with privacy and not disturb my sleeping husband. All staff I encountered were pleasant and overall great stay!

My group of 8 women were looking for a one night stopover stay by Acadia. We did not know what to expect since this appeared to be an older motel from the exterior photo. To our delight, the rooms, the staff, the breakfast, far exceeded our expectations...you can trust the online pictures and description in this case! I would happily give this inn 5 stars!

The exterior leaves a lot to be desired compared to the cute, quant, New England style you may be looking for but the inside smells new, is spacious and the beds are to die for. Rooms are quiet. Staff is very nice & they have cookies in the afternoon. Not too far from town or the park but you will have to drive. We would stay here again.

Just fantastic. Convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, but not in the hustle and bustle of town. First-rate breakfast with fresh, hot, real food. We appreciated the homey touches like fresh popcorn and cookies in the lobby. Very friendly, helpful staff, who were prepared with local maps and a storehouse of knowledge about the area. We loved our room in Building 3, facing the pool -- spacious, high ceiling, very comfortable bed to collapse into after our long days rambling around Acadia. Consistently immaculate housekeeping for all four nights we spent here. We had perfect weather for our visit, so a short stroll to the ice machine and the breakfast room didn't pose any problem at all. Great experience! We would happily stay here again. We would recommend this place to anyone who is most interested in hiking the Park but also wants to see Bar Harbor.

It is not located at Bar Harbor downtown. It is about a few miles away. But it is on the major roadway to downtown. It is only 10 mins drive to Arcadia visitor center and downtown. I prefer to stay away downtown to avoid traffic and tourist trap restaurant. There are some good lobster pound close by. Hotel check in was easy. I parked the car right in front of our room. We had a suite which was at the corner. Suite has one king and 2 full beds. The suite is ok size. Decor is modern. Beds are clean and comfort. The bathroom was clean also. My two teens slept in a small rooms which had 2 full beds. Those were comfortable. But beds only fit 5'8'' (I think) cause both beds lie against each other. If you are tall, forget about those. Breakfast is very good. It has varieties of choices. Dinning area is clean and spacious. I highly recommend to stay here. The price was little bit pricey for this type of hotel. But high season is norm.

Clean, friendly staff, quiet, relaxing. Nice touch with a fire at night and s'mores. A few miles from Bar Harbor but worth being out of town. Would highly recommend this facility to anyone visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

We spent five nights at this motel and we were very happy the whole time. The room was exceptionally clean and the grounds are beautiful and very, very quiet. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was really good. The location was perfect for us--close to both Acadia and Bar Harbor. The front desk staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions.

This is a very lovely, quaint hotel nestled in beautiful trees of Bar Harbor. It is a fantastic location with exceptionally clean rooms! I love this place!! The breakfast area was a lovely building and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating! And providing smores at a campfire is a fantastic idea!!

We stayed two nights September 13-15. My husband, son and I had a great stay. Great clean room close to the Acadia State Park. The continental breakfast was also good. There was something for everyone. I would highly recommend this place for its cleanliness and value.

I got a pretty good deal on this motel ($179/nite) & I got what I expected. I didn't expect the Bar Harbor hotel & I didn't expect it to be in the heart of the village but it's less than 10 mins away & less than 5 mins from Acadia Nat. Pk. From the pictures online I could see it was a motel style structure so it's "motor court" like ambiance was OK. This is not a resort like facility & the room we had was typical of any decent motel you can find all over the U.S. Above all, the room was clean, especially the bathroom. The bed was comfy too. The free breakfast was also generic but served it's purpose. If you've had free breakfasts at other chain motels you'll find this one very familiar. There's really nothing to recommend nor disqualify a recommendation for this place--it's nondescript, utilitarian with no frills except it's location to Acadia Nat. Pk.(It does have a heated pool) It is clean & well maintained however & that counts for a lot. Yes, for $75-$100/nite more you can get a little luxury but this BW Acadia Inn is fine considering you will most likely be in the park or shopping/eating in Bar Harbor & not lounging around the Inn.

We picked this motel in 2012 from online reviews as it was our first trip to Mount Desert Island. It exceeded our every expectation. With that experience we looked forward to visiting Acadia Park and staying here again. I realized halfway through our 8 hour drive to get to MDI that I hadn't checked recent reviews. It had been 6 years and things change. It is hard to believe, but this place got better. The room was just as clean but newly renovated. The breakfast area got bigger and the food choices were even bigger and better. The whole place got even cleaner (my wife didn't think that was possible) and this has become our second most important reason for making the 8 hour trip to visit Acadia Park. Our family is pretty sure we have seen and done everything we want to do in Mount Desert Island and yet my wife and kids want to come back to stay at the Acadia Park Inn just because the beds our so comfortable, the breakfast is so good and the staff so nice and professional. This facility should be used by Best Western to train staff how a motel should be. The price is not cheap but is most definitely a bargain. I honestly couldn't think of anything that needed improvement. Great stay, great room and wonderful staff.

This hotel is a little north of one of the entrances to Acadia National Park and a little further north of downtown Bar Harbor. You would have to drive to both and parking in Bar Harbor can take some patience. The set up of the hotel is one where your door leads directly outside which seemed to be very common and wasnt issue but is a heads up for anyone expecting a larger hotel setup. Overall we have no complaints, nice room, comfy bed, nice staff and would recommend

We made a last minute decision to visit Acadia National Park. When looking for hotels, most were out of my price range or all booked up. I found the BW with a vacancy and in my price range. I was a little worried that having a vacancy was a bad sign. Also the web site pictures were not easing my worries. But once we got there all worries were for not. The website looks like there are just a few rooms facing the road. But really there are several sections behind the main office. Check in: check in was very smooth. Everyone I spoke with at the front desk was extremely helpful. At check in they when through all the amenities at the hotel - pool, smore pit, breakfast area. And since there was road construction, how to return to the hotel through the detours. Amenities: Breakfast was very good every day. There is a wide range of items from scrambled eggs to cheese omelets, bacon or sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits, make your own waffles, oatmeal with all types of toppings, cold cereals, muffins,.. I am sure I missed something. But the point is this is a great breakfast offering. The pool is nice, a little small and didn't feel heated to me. I did take a dip every day and it was refreshing. In the evening, there are cookies and popcorn. I did partake of those and they were good as well! Rooms: there are several sections of the hotel behind the main office. We were in room 417 which was at the end of one of the sections right behind the main office. Easy to find and parking right outside our door. It was very quiet as well. The rooms were recently remodeled. They were lovely inside. The bathroom was quite large. The sink is enclosed with the tub and toilet. There are plenty of towel rods, which I like so that I can hang and reuse my towel. There were separate pool towels for use as well. All the linens - towels and sheets - were soft and nice. The beds were very comfortable. If you want the busyness of Bar Harbor, then this is not for you. If you want quiet, easy access to the park, lovely room, amazing service and wonderful breakfast then stay here. We'll be back.

It was a cozy stay at the Best Western Acadia Park Inn. The hotel was situated at a convenient location, close to the Acadia National Park entrance and Bar Harbor downtown. The hotel amenities were good. The complimentary breakfast had a good selection of choices. There were outdoor activities such as the kids' play area, badminton and evening fire pit for s'more w/ marshmallow. It was a cozy stay.

We booked three nights in this hotel and extended to a fourth. We were continually impressed by the kind, helpful, and conscientious staff. The bathtub and other fixtures gleamed and from what I could tell, the cleaning staff didn't miss a single detail. The hotel had a great variety of items for breakfast and several very attentive breakfast attendants making sure that they didn't run out of anything. They had a nice-sized dining room for the breakfast, too. Our room in the rear of the hotel was very quiet. There was a small playground and the hotel even offered s'mores around a campfire every evening. This hotel is not in Bar Harbor but it was only a short drive to Bar Harbor or to Jordan Pond and most other popular parts of Acadia National Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family had a terrible experience with a HomeAway rental and ended up leaving the house and needing a hotel very last minute. Best Western was able to accommodate our party of 6 for two of the three nights we needed. The next morning I went to ask for a third night and Joel was SO helpful. He made me less stressed about the rental and made sure we got enough rooms and the triple A discounts. And though we had to change rooms (which was totally fine) he made sure that there was a room available before check in so we wouldn't have to wait around. Great service, really nice rooms, good shower, and extremely comfortable beds (and I'm a really light sleeper)! Breakfast was a normal continental breakfast but satisfied our needs. This was a great experience and it was a good distance (about 15-20 minutes) from everything we wanted like the park and Bar Harbor. I never write reviews but the service made writing one worth it.

Perfect location if you want to stay away from the traffic and crowded Harbor area. Close enough to everything Acadia and Bar Harbor. Rooms were perfect, staff so professional. Breakfast area clean and food selection was just right, something for everyone.

We have stayed at this property a number of times over the years. We've seen the upgrades and the changes but always for the better. The staff is always excellent. The rooms are even nicer and the breakfast room is great especially for families with children. Very close to the park entrance. Will continue to return.

The rooms are spacious. There are two comfortable chairs and plenty of lights to turn on for good reading. The bathroom too is spacious, and the shower tub has several shelves and a couple of bars to hold onto if desired. The beds were comfortable. The free continental breakfast had several types of cold cereal, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, some hot food, muffins, yogurt (vanilla blend), plenty of seating at least when we were there. The front office staff is very friendly and helpful. The free Island Explorer bus can be flagged down on the road in front of the hotel for rides to the Visitor center and Village Green (in Bar Harbor) - we did this each day; from those two locations other free Island Explorer buses drive different routes to stops in Acadia National Park. The hotel is near two restaurants (Log Cabin and Mainely Meat BBQ) and Pirate Cove miniature golf. I would stay at Best Western Acadia Park Inn again.

This property is extremely clean, both exterior and interior. My room was cleaned to perfection every day. The bathroom was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the bed linens felt nice. Internet was excellent. The only problem I had were the pillows. The location is very convenient to the Park and Bar Harbor.

Staying at the Best Western was great. The breakfast that was included had scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, make your own waffles, toast, bagels, muffins and four types of juice. The rooms were clean and new. The furniture was appropriate for the room and the barn door separating the bedroom to the bathroom was cool. If there is only two traveling get a king bed.

We were visiting our relatives in Bar Harbor and stayed at the Best Western again. Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The pool was also nice. The continental breakfast was good too, and the staff was friendly.

The grounds were immaculate and beautiful. It was like we were staying in the park. Truly! We had a beautiful room - extremely clean and modern. The bathroom was spacious and completely updated. The kids thought the heated outdoor pool was very nice after a long day of hiking. While this motel is a bit out of town, it was not a long drive and the shuttle bus to town and the park stops right outside the motel! There are accommodations closer to Bar Harbor, but this place was an absolute gem and perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of town. We would absolutely stay here again, without question.

Nice place. I would say the first impression of the outside was not favorable but the rooms were updated and the staff was nice. Breakfast was OK. It is a bit out of town so if you're looking for affordable but willing to drive, this is a good spot to stay. We would rather be closer to town but if we return to Bar Harbor and can't be closer, we'd stay here again.

We were so happy with this hotel at the end of our eight day vacation. We stayed here two nights. The king size bed was so comfortable. The kids had their own section of the room with two twins. The room was perfect for our family. Very spacious and clean!

Great place. Close to Acadia National Park especially Cadillac mountain. It was a little bit farther from Bar Harbor. Great room and loved the fact I could park right outside my room. The s'mores were an added extra as well as coffee 24/7!

Stayed for 5 days,employees at front desk where helpful on things to do and even put ice packs in cooler overnight. Nice proximity to get in and out of acadia national park. Island explorer picked you up in front which made for easy ride to acadia or bar harbor. Breakfast was always great way to start day. Thanks to entire staff.

I enjoyed my time at Best Western near Acadia Park. I had a nice view of the woods. It was very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was good. I would recommend this place for families and couples who want a quiet place to stay.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Grounds were lovely. Enjoyed the pool,the firepit and the 'smores. Breakfast was better than anticipated. Convenient to shuttle around Acadia and Bar Harbor- barely used our car at all. Overall, this was a great vacation!

When you pull in you notice that the grounds are well kept and pretty. You check in and the staff is super nice and pleasant. But you still kind of think old school motel. Then you open the door to your beautifully remodeled room. Super nice. So pleasantly surprised!! Comfy and very clean. Also an awesome breakfast wirh great selection. Easy, quick drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Bar Harbor is a little further, but easy to do. Construction on road on way back so that new route through the park at night is a bit scary, but no fault of the hotel or the area. (I overheard the gentleman at the front desk tell someone who questioned the timing of the construction explain that the can't do it in the winter!! Right?) A GREAT stay and I would recommend this Best Western to ANYONE who asked. Smores at the firepit in the evenings ... cute idea. Nice pool. We would have liked chairs near our door outside, but no big deal. We traveled through ME for 5 days and this was by FAR our favorite hotel although we paid more in a few other places. Thank you for the care and effort you take to provide a beautiful, clean, comfortable place to stay!!

Spotless large room, super comfortable bed. Included breakfast but better than other Best Westerns and room kept clean in spite of other guests having no idea how to control their children. Very good location for entry to Arcadia NP. Great for a family.

I haven't stayed at a Best Western before but will definitely try it again after this. It's a motel style where the doors open into the parking lot but we could park right outside of our door. The rooms were sizable, very clean, and nicely appointed. Breakfast was very good and the free shuttles into Nar Harbor and Acadia stop right on the property if you flag them down. It was no problem getting a shuttle and they made the trip so easy inside of the park. Great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Nice little pool as well.

We arrived on 7/28 and stayed for 3 nights while visiting Acadia National Park. The room was spacious and beautifully renovated. The bathroom was the largest I've ever seen at a hotel. The beds were very comfortable as well. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of items. The location is conveniently located 2 miles from Acadia. The evening we arrived the gentleman who checked us in, I believe his name may have been Thomas, was absolutely wonderful. He was so kind and went above and beyond with recommendations and tips for Bar Harbor and the area. He helped us out so much, all of his recommendations were spot on. This is truly one of the most comfortable hotels that I've ever stayed in and would definitely return when visiting again. A new favorite!

We picked this motel based on its reviews and it was a good idea. The room was nice with only one window on parking side. The fridge and microwave were convenient. The included breakfast was okay. A good value deal so close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park entrance. Washing machines were also available. Worth trying it.

Friendly, personal service. Great breakfast , Swimming pool, fire pit with smoores, horseshoes. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was nice and large. Plenty to do. Close to many restaurants, beautiful scenic views and lots of fun activities.

When reserving on-line for children there was no age restrictions. If it wasn't for my 2 kids being with me at check-in, I would've had a cheaper stay. But, because the staff saw that the kids were 15 & 13, I was then charged for 4 adults. This added to our overall expense. If I would have known, we might have gone to another motel. Your on-line reservation needs to clearly state the age requirements. This was the only blemish that we had with your facility.

I can not say enough good things about this Best Western! The moment we pulled onto the grounds we could see they take pride in keeping the place neat. Then there was the friendly man at the desk. He made sure we knew all about the services the hotel offered, like free, fresh baked cookies every afternoon. And in good weather there is a fire pit out back to gather around for s'mores making. There are two washer and dryers available for guests to use (if you need detergent or dryer sheets, they have them at the front desk, as well as change). The lobby has a tv and couches and chairs and even a little popcorn maker (but if you love popcorn like I do go to Bar Harbor Popcorn). There is an ice machine too! I can't remember if there was a pool because we were only there one night. I wish we had stayed in this place the previous two nights we were in Bar Harbor. The staff here at Best Western is so friendly, so helpful and so genuine. I forgot to pack my earbuds when we left. About 10 miles down the road I remembered. So I called and spoke to Mary. Not only did she remember me, but she offered to mail them to my home. I thanked her but said I really need them on this trip. She went to the room and got them and by the time we arrived she was holding them for me! I can't speak about any other Best Westerns because I have not experienced them. But this one is fantastic! And the room we stayed in was clean and spacious too! Can't really ask for more than that!

Stopped here for the night with a group of 8 while on a motorcycle trip from Baltimore to Maine and back. Had made reservations 7 months in advance. Beautifully maintained grounds are the first thing we noticed. We arrived early ahead of check-in and they were nice enough to let us check into a couple of the rooms early so we could unload our gear because there was the threat of a storm coming in in the next few hours. So after unloading we were able to go visit Acadia Park made even easier with the map and information the hotel clerk gave us. The rooms were very clean and bed was very comfortable. After dinner and after the storm rolled through some of our group enjoyed the fire pit out back and making smores. Breakfast in the morning was terrific with a large selection of foods and located in a large room that gave everyone room without being on top of each other. Check-out went smoothly. Highly recommend and if in area again will return.

The room was totally redone and updated, huge bathroom, was extremely clean and comfy beds. The grounds are well kept, nice pool, good breakfast served everyday. It is located in a quiet area a few miles outside of Bar Harbor and close to the Acadia Park entrance. When checking in, Doreen gave us a ton of information of what to do in the area. She was extremely helpful and friendly, as was everyone else who worked there. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if in the area.

This place is spotless! From the freshly painted curbs to the clean lobby to the recently renovated rooms, we were completely satisfied with the cleanliness and service this Best Western provided. Our kids loved the nightly s'mores and fire pit, the playground and volleyball net (you can check a ball from the front desk). We loved the hot coffee from 6am-10pm in the lobby and the quiet, serene atmosphere. Breakfast was good with some healthy options like oatmeal and hard boiled eggs. Free WiFi. And super easy parking. We recommend this spot highly!!

Could not have asked for a better hotel for my families stay in Bar Harbor. The hotel is a little bit out of town but it takes less than five minutes to get to there if that is your cup of tea. The rooms are well done, clean and are modern. The kids loved the pool. The kids also say thanks for the stuffed eagle. Breakfast is well set with all the continental favorites and the ladies there make sure to take care of you. This and a few other Best Westerns I have stayed at lately are definitely improving my opinion of the chain. I would highly recommend.

We stayed here four nights while visiting the National Park and Bar Harbor. Wonderful and quaint with an excellent hearty breakfast! They even have gluten free options for breads at breakfast. Good location. Nice refreshing pool. Friendly staff. Very clean. I highly recommend staying here!

We loved this hotel. I would recommend and I would definitely stay there again. Pros: Friendly staff, convenient location to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, motel style layout so first floor room with direct access to your car for easy loading/unloading, comfortable bed, clean, amazing shower, great breakfast with lots of options and a huge dining room. Heated outdoor pool looked nice, but we didn't use it. Really nice seating areas outside for taking in the sunshine or stargazing. Smores at the fire pit each night (though we weren't around during that time to participate). Refrigerator and microwave in rooms. Cons: It's a little expensive for what I am used to paying,but considering the price range in the area it's actually not a bad price at all. And it's definitely worth it. We only stayed 2 nights and didn't want to leave! I could've stayed there a whole week.

IWe haven't stayed at BW in years so this experience was great! Location is good, close to park, bar harbor, restaurants, roadsides are the best, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is awesome, friendly but professional. Breakfast is the BEST!!! Full hot meals and all the usual staples of continental breakfasts and then some. There's a small area for children to play as well as an outdoor pool. Only drawback, and not a deal breaker, was a short period of time to use the firepit, geared for kids not adults...After 730. No place to sit outside and relax after sunset...

This is by far one of the most clean and quiet hotels we have ever visited. The room was immaculate and the housekeeping staff was fast and friendly. The front staff was friendly and accomodating. They gave us a welcoming mug upon arrival! Breakfast was delicious, with the selections filled promptly. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed two nights at this hotel. Upon check in we were greeted by the nicest staff. They went out of their way to make us feel like we were at home. They gave our kids stuffed bald eagles and a little baggie of goodies. There was coffee and cookies each night and they had smores outside by the fire pit each night. Such a nice touch. The rooms have been updated and are very nice. This is not a big fancy hotel and you cant expect big fancy things, but it was comfortable and homey. The breakfast they offer each morning is great. The ladies working in the kitchen take a lot of pride in their work and everything was well stocked, hot and yummy.

Rooms were very clean and bigger than expected, with individual window units. The staff was very helpful, full of good information on local hikes. Very comfy beds/pillows, great water pressure and deep bathtub with lots of hot water!!

Friendly front desk staff. Room had new carpet and was updated modern furniture. Has free continental breakfast and drinks. Clean bathroom. Has pool with deck chairs and tables. Playground for kids. Neighbors in next room were loud. Could hear people outside late at night. Nice hotel except for the noise.

Clean, well maintained motel near the National Park and very convenient to the village of Bar Harbor and everything nearby. Staff was really helpful. Has a breakfast (very basic but more than enough).

On a major thoroughfare, close enough to Acadia NP but away from the crowds. Lovely grounds, very nice heated outdoor pool with umbrella covered tables and lounge chairs. With your door closed you cannot hear traffic noise??., Spacious room, clean, comfy bed and pillows. Pool towels in room. Our bathroom sink wasn't draining very well so we alerted the front desk. It was fixed in under 30 minutes??!!! Every afternoon there are fresh baked cookies: PB, oatmeal (my favorite) and chocolate chip (to die for my husband says). Laundry facilities on site; clean, efficient and affordable. Other amenities include playground, sandbox, picnic tables and grills. Excellent breakfast. Cannot go wrong here!!!

This Inn resembles a motel. We parked our car in front of the room which was close to end of the motel Room was comfortable. The Inn is located away from downtown so that you need to drive to any restaurants and shops. Inn does serve breakfast, which, while nothing memorable, was OK. From what we saw in the area, this is probably a good value. There were some major road repairs going on in area when we were there. The repairs were not directly by the Inn, but made getting back and forth between it and the Acadia Park a little tricky.

This hotel is reasonably priced and actually quite nice. The staff provided so much vital information when we checked in - very congenial and accommodating. The room appeared to have been recently updated, bathroom huge and very nice. The cleaning staff did a great job. Breakfast was the typical microwaved food, but convenient and a hot meal before starting the day. Not usually a Best Western fan, but the massive number of positive reviews convinced me to book and we were not disappointed.

We could. It have done better. Close proximity to Acadia National Park and only 3 miles to Bar Harbor. The room was very large . It was very clean and the bed was great. The folks at the front desk were great. Our refrigerator was not working and it was replaced promptly the next day. Very quiet and peaceful during the day and at night.

I stayed here recently on a midweek whirlwind trip to Acadia. Check in was quick and efficient, fresh cookies and coffee are waiting in the lobby. It was a dreary, wet day and a cheery fire was in the fireplace. The rooms are located in several adjacent buildings in the compound. Our room was clean, tidy, and welcoming. The interesting thing about this hotel is that they have a private "back yard" with a large grassy yard, playground for kids, and comfortable outdoor chairs for the adults. Nice touch! The complimentary breakfast had numerous hot and cold choices. My only complaint, the coffee comes from a push button machine and is awful......... Please, make provide real coffee (like you have in the lobby).

Room was clean & looked remodeled. Nice breakfast spread. Located on the main highway into Bar Harbor & Acadia national park. Check in & check out were quick. Staff was friendly at front desk & at breakfast. We will stay here again when we return to the area.

I chose this hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews and couldn't be happier! We stayed for 3 nights with my husband and 2 kids. The staff is friendly, accommodating, treat the guests like family. The room we stayed in seemed updated and very clean! The breakfast was great. The pool heated to 82 degrees allowing our 9 year old to comfortably swim while it was in the mid-50s outside. The playground was great to keep the kids occupied. The location is conveneint for visits to both Acadia and bar harbor. My husband, our kids and I truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone visiting the Acadia region with kids!

Stayed 3 nights while visiting Acadia NP. Convenient to the park. Nice room. Nice breakfast. All buildings are one floor and you could park directly in front of your room door which was hugely convenient. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

This motel was recently renovated, we stayed in a very nice and good sized room. Bed was very comfortable, nice to have a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was excellent, hot dishes varied some, but with some kind of eggs, meat, potatoes, vegetarian beans one morning, fruit, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, breads. Gluten free bread and blueberry muffins on request, also the staff could look up other items on the buffet to check ingredients.Everyone was nice and helpful.

I stayed with my girlfriend for a couple of nights in this hotel. And I gotta admit, I have never been to a better hotel in the US. It was very clean, newish furnitures, great price and a good variety on breakfast. Also the staff was very kind. We will definitely come back!

Stayed for multiple nights in the spring in a single king bed room and was overall very pleased with the stay. Room: The room was overall very clean, and the staff did a great job during the day when we were gone. Coming home to a refreshed and clean room was appreciated. Microwave and fridge in the room allowed us to also save a bit on meals. The bathroom was bright and spacious. Only consideration is the bathroom door which was on a sliding rail and does not latch. It leaves about a 0.5 to 1 inch gap between the wall and the door which leaves some privacy to be desired. This was not an issues as my travel partner and I are close but this is something to be considered for others. TV had lots of channels and there is also a safe in the room. Property: The property is very nice and tends to be quiet. The building we were in was set back from the road quite a bit and we never had any issues with outside noise. The lobby building was welcoming and they had cookies, coffee, and tea every afternoon for guests. Ice and vending machines are also located throughout. Location: Right on route 3, about 5-10 minute drive from Acadia NP entrance and downtown bar harbor. When we visited, there was construction on route 3 which turned a portion of the highway into one way traffic. We didn't know it when we booked but this place was before all the construction so we didn't have to deal with the detours. We passed by other places we had considered and were happy we didn't choose those. Breakfast: Great variety with a rotating option of breakfast meat, eggs, and usually potatoes. Waffle makers everyday with lots of toppings. A variety of pastries, breads, muffins, and bagels. Fruit, yogurt, and granola too! And it's all free and included with the room. Overall a wonderful way to start the day. They do have some gluten free options. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and the spring rate proved to be a great value that beat out most other nearby options including Airbnbs. I would definitely recommend to others.

Stayed here one night for a visit to MDI, wish we had booked longer. Our room was very comfortable, well decorated, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Very clean and the bathroom is huge, love the sliding barn door, nice touch, the only thing we noticed was there was no handle or hasp on the door, but it was minor compared to how well decorated the rooms are. We had a tasty breakfast with great, hot coffee, I mean very hot, be careful, but some of the best hotel coffee we've had. The selection and quality of the food offered was excellent and the staff super friendly and polite. Anyone who chooses to stay here would think they were staying in a much higher price point hotel. The property was very well maintained and this location will be at the top of our list for future visits.

The motel is conveniently located on Mount Desert Island along the main highway to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The buildings are older, but the rooms have been remodeled, are up to date, air conditioned, and very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast food selection was excellent. The only thing it does not have is an ocean view, but many opportunities for sightseeing, boating, hiking, shopping and dining are only a few miles away. Overall, an excellent value for the location.

My wife and I stayed for two nights at this property. We were very pleasantly surprised. By every metric, this hotel excelled. This is an old style motel layout, with several rows of rooms over a fairly large property. The grounds and building are immaculate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped. The king bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet (except for some air conditioner noise). Parking was ample and internet was flawless. There is a large, purpose built breakfast room that is clean and very well maintained. There is a very good selection of items. Everyone that works at this property obviously cares. It is about 2 miles from Bar Harbor, with good access to the park and townsite. I would recommend this property for couples or families without reservation!! An excellent choice!!

The staff was very friendly an helpful and even helped us find a good restaurant and ice cream shop! The room was very nice and clean and the breakfast had a large variety of options. It was definitely worth the price and I would recommend!

The staff were extremely friendly. clean room, comfy bed. The breakfast selection was awesome. Minus one star because of the thin wall. My neighbor was watching TV at 4:30 AM and it was super loud. It finally stopped when he went out at 6:30. Then the neighbor on the other side left their phone in the room. The alarm went off for an entire hour. I didn't sleep well at all.

Once or twice a year I come up from southern Maine and my friend comes down from New Brunswick to hike in Acadia National Park for two days. For the fourth time we stayed at the Acadia Park Inn. Rooms are clean. The TV remote is simple to use. Room enough to play Scrabble with my friend. And the breakfast! Let me start with the amazing oatmeal with raisins and walnuts. So good, I had a second bowl. Then mini-home fries patties that were stand along good by themselves.

The property looks ordinary from the road, but the lobby, rooms, and breakfast area are very nice. Helpful staff at the front desk and a pleasant lobby that's actually inviting to hang out in (plus home baked cookies!). Not sure why the breakfast is labeled

Property condition is pristine. We stayed in late April which is just prior to the season start. There were only a few rooms occupied. We are exceptionally happy with the Kitchen. Although breakfast food selection is standard for a motel; provisions were generous. We notice the kitchen lady staff pay extra attention to ensure a clean environment. She was literally using scotch tape to clean up any sign of dust in the cutlery dispensers! Hats off to the staffs.

All of the staff that we met at this hotel were extremely welcoming, helpful and efficient. The room was nicely decorated / furnished however the door to the bathroom was an external sliding door which did not provide the same privacy as a normal door would. The bathroom and bedroom surfaces were clean. We had a room with two beds and they seemed to have very different mattresses - one soft, one firm. There was a brown stain on one sheet and one of the beds had some small hairs, but the sheets did look fresh. The pillows could have been better. We heard quite a bit of noise from the parking lot and the road. The breakfast was extremely generous and everything pristine however it would have been nice (and healthy) to have fresh fruit for the oatmeal instead of fruit in thick syrup.

The location is perfect- minutes from Acadia park and downtown Bar Habor. The staff is very friendly and gave us great recommendations for scenic driving and picture locations! There were even fresh baked cookies out when we checked in :) (which were delicious) The beds were incredibly comfortable. With the remodeled rooms it felt as if we were staying in a quaint little cottage. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!

This motel was extremely well kept, and staff were both accommodating and friendly. There in no full service restaurant on property, but the breakfast room was large, clean, and offered a wide variety of breakfast items. Rooms are all outside access, but noise was not an issue. The outdoor pool was pristine, and the onsite laundry facilities were welcomed toward the end of our stay. An EXCELLENT value! I would definitely return!

We stayed at The Best Western Acadia Park Inn at Mount Desert Island, Maine in late June, 2017. The rooms had been newly renovated and are very comfortable, beautiful, spacious, clean, with an awesome bathroom complete with a nightlight feature. The layout of the property is barrack style, so you park your car in close proximity to your room. No steps to navigate other than on onto the sidewalk. Back your car into your parking spot and your suitcase is practically at your door. No noise from the room upstairs, since everything is ground level. It reminded me of what it must be like to be away "at camp". Our room faced a beautifully landscaped area with a playground, fire pit, and comfy wooden chairs for outdoor relaxation. Their pool is well maintained and looks pristine. The weather was a tad chilly for me, but next trip, I'll take a dip! The breakfast room is staffed up and the employees are on the job in every way. They anticipate your needs, clearing and wiping down tables as people leave, and are very hospitable. They replenish the food seamlessly. Delicious coffee! Oh, and beans...baked beans, a traditional food in Maine, make an appearance at breakfast. There's a first time for everything, including eggs and beans! Lots of cereal options, oatmeal, hot entrees, fruit, yogurt. If you need gluten free, they're ready for you! Just talk to the gals working there and...voila! This Best Western is the BEST! This was our first trip to Acadia, and we are planning to return in summer of 2018. We'll definitely book here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Bar Harbor Best Western. It is close to Acadia Park and Bar Harbor. We had been away for over a week and were pleased that the laundry facilities (new and clean) were near our room, so we could do laundry in the evening. Staff went out of their way to find us an extension cord so that we could plug our camera's battery charger (which we'd forgotten to charge) into the car outlet, when we left our first morning to sightsee and take pictures.

This was the second time I have stayed at the Best Western Acadia and my opinion has not changed – this is a fantastic place and a wonderful place to stay. There is plenty of parking on-site, and I still like the fact that it is not in Bar Harbor itself so it is nice and quiet (yet only a quick drive to Acadia NP or Bar Harbor). Because they were doing road-works on Route 3, the reception staff provided a map of the detour required to return to the property when coming from Bar Harbor/Acadia. The (included) breakfast is amazing, and a great way to start a morning before a busy and long day of hiking in Acadia. Highlights remain the DIY waffles, but the hot food changed each day and included eggs, bacon, sausages or hash brown among other things. There are several cereal options, yoghurt and fresh fruit also. Other facilities at the property include swimming pool, ice machines, laundry, and vending machines for drinks/snacks. Don't forget the free cookies in reception! Reception staff are super friendly and helpful. Free wifi! The room was spacious so there was plenty of space to spread out maps and luggage items. There was a desk and chair as well as an arm chair with a sofa component. The bathroom has a huge storage area for clothes (great for airing and drying after hiking), although it was a little weird to stand on carpet when using the sink. I liked how they actually followed their green/environmentally friendly policy by NOT replacing towels that were hung up on rails daily. (I often find many hotels have these policies but still insist on replacing all the towels daily). Other features; ironing board, mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities in the room. As wish my previous visit, this was an easy 5/5 for me and if I find myself back in Acadia NP, I'll make it a third time staying here!

This BW is always a great place to stay and when we are in Maine we always stay there at least a night. The service has always been great. The property is always well maintained and the day time staff is always helpful. We arrived later then usual and the lady that checked us in was very efficient and had a pleasant attitude. The other lady at the front desk was definately NOT having a good evening!

Best Western Acadia in Bar Harbor Maine is just exceptional having recently undergone quite a renovation. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the baths luxurious. Clean smart décor with comfy pillow top beds and crispy linens. Bravo, it was always a good place but now it is quite outstanding. Breakfast has an outstanding number of breakfast items all fresh and delicious an I can't say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

we stayed here prior to driving into the Acadia National Park. the hotel was nice, had good coffee, and the next morning had a fine breakfast for everyone. beds were good along with a nice room and bath facilities. big room at a reasonable price. had a couch and chair in the room. good location.

Close proximity to many of the areas features. Great room. Great staff. Fast wifi internet service. Room comes complete. Breakfast was great with such an assortment of hot and cold foods and it's included. Best price for what you get around overall.

one of the most consistent BW. Over the years I visited Bar Harbor for business, always staying 1 night, this BW is the most reliable in regards to quality, appearance. Public spaces and room amenities are always updated. Congratulations to the owners, I love to see when part of the room night funds are reinvested into keeping the property of high BW quality

Best Western Clean just few miles from the harbor heated pool and breakfast close to a lot of places to eat. The park is out standing when up on Cadillac Mt. you get a beautiful view of the harbor. If you like to hike they have good trales

Nice park-like location, extra large room for a chain motel, reasonable rate, good breakfast. Only problem we had was the strange bathroom door which was attached to some kind of sliding bar and impossible to completely close. Don't know if it was temporary or permanent.

Overall very good stay experience. Would definitely stay here again on my trip to bar harbor. Room was big with high ceilings, one floor only, donno disturbance from top. Breakfast was superb, staff was superb. Problem with wifi connection but on ur trip to bar harbor, you probably won't care.

If what you want is an old fashioned property to stay at that has rooms renovated somewhat, then maybe this place is for you. It wasn't for us. The place is a MOTEL — park in front of your room. The room, although renovated somewhat, smelled and seemed damp. The separate room for bathtub and toilet was extremely small. Furniture seemed old. Could hear every noise from road, other motel guests outside, every car door closing and every sound from the next room. They seem to keep up the property well and the breakfast was decent, but this whole place was merely lipstick on a pig! I prefer newer places with good furnishings and clean.

Clean, comfy bed, friendly people! A great location for the park and Bar Harbor. The detour is probably more inconvenient for the staff explaining the detour 50 times a day than the guests driving it! It's really not a big deal! The facility could use a few updates, but we visited at the very end of the season, before improvement season. This facility is very family friendly-we had other places we had to be but otherwise would have attended the evening events happening there. They have a lovely kid's & family area outdoors with grills, kid's stuff, chairs & a fire pit. The breakfast buffet area is equal to some restaurants I've visited and has a nice variety of selections. The safe in our room was different than a lot-our wider laptop actually fit inside! The attention to detail shows and that makes a difference. Hint-if you're in the lobby in the afternoon when the cookies are out...eat one! They are really yummy!

This was really a pleasant surprise. On the outside it appears to be an old-school motel with parking at your door. However, my wife and our son and I found our room to be completely updated with new carpet, furnishings and bed - just like a new hotel. The free breakfast is in an attractive separate building with a good selection of food. The staff were professional and very helpful. The property is spread out next to a forest which means it is very quiet which I greatly appreciated as I am a light sleeper. Although it is several miles into the town of Bar Harbor, I think it is actually a positive. The Bar Harbor town center is a bit of a zoo and I suspect that hotels there would be noisier and a lot more expensive. This was a great choice.

I loved staying at this hotel. It was just one floor which was refreshing after staying in big hotels. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. A very nice breakfast was included. The hotel is very close to the entrance to Acadia. I would recommend this hotel!

I can't believe this place. Made reservations months ago and when I had to cancel they would not refund my money saying it was a nonrefundable booking. Ok but in talking to the people they very blasé about taking my money for nothing. Said just accept it as a life lesson! And I know that months in advance they were sure to rebook the rooms. Beware!

This was the BEST Best Western experience that I have ever had. It was an outstanding value for our 5 night stay. Our room was a king bed (not a suite) and the bedroom and bathroom were very spacious, modern, and comfortable. We were extremely pleased with the layout of the hotel which consisted of several one story buildings with parking directly in front of our unit. Each building was a few minutes walk from the hotel lobby and breakfast room. Our experiences with all hotel staff and services were excellent. The location is about 15 minutes from the entrance to Acadia National Park which was our daily destination. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to the island's free shuttle service that travels Acadia Park and Mt. Desert Island. We took the shuttle to Bar Harbor to avoid dealing with parking there. We had mountain and ocean views inside and outside of the Park and opted not to pay lots of money to have a hotel with a view as well. We decided on this hotel after looking at numerous reviews for several hotels. We were thrilled with our choice and grateful for the reviews that helped us make it.

This hotel was perfect for our time at Acadia. Close to both the entrance to the park and Bar Harbor downtown, yet far enough from the hub bub of downtown to be quiet. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, and we appreciated having laundry available. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

This is one of the nicest Best Western properties we have experienced in our travel. The beds and rooms were very comfortable and pristine clean. The location is perfect with quick access to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The buffett breakfast was outstanding with quality service and presentation.

The staff at BW Acadia Park tries really hard to keep everyone satisfied and they truly succeed. The location is perfect if you're planning on visiting the Park or Bar Harbour. Rooms are spacious and clean. Love the personal touch of cookies, coffee, popcorn after hours. Definitely give it a shot and you won't be disappointed. BTW - breakfast was plentiful and good

Nice location if staying outside of Bar Harbor town proper. Easy access to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Nice hotel staff. Loved the early evening baked cookies, popcorn, and s'mores! Would stay here again if come back to Acadia!

Awesome hotel with lots of amenities only a few minutes from the town of bar harbor. We truly loved our stay! We had a great time and the people working the front desk were more than willing to help us with any questions we had. The hotel was just the beginning of our amazing time in bar harbor but it all starts in the place you stay!

We stayed for 3 nights. We always try to stay at Best Western when there is one available on our route as we know we will have consistent quality. This Hotel's accommodations were average. The Breakfast however was one of the best complementary breakfasts that we have experienced. The location was convenient for us as it was easy to get to most parts of Mt. Desert Island without having to deal with downtown Bar Harbor congestion. This is not a place to stay if you are looking for a Ocean or Water view from the hotel.

we stayed 4 nights well on family vacation , rooms very clean and kept that way, breakfast better than most, comfortable bed, very close to Bar Harbor, a lot of road construction going on, very close to Acadia Park which has beautiful views. would highly recommend at stay here.

AAA found this hotel for me. It looked a little boxy from the outside, but I didn't care since I had plans pretty tightly scheduled all day, and would be out of the room. I got back to the hotel on my first night there around 7:15. I noticed people gathered out in a grassy field outside my room. So I went to check it out. The hotel sponsors a s'mores bbq every night around a fire pit. They provide everything you need, all you can eat. The kids were running around barefoot on the lawn, the adults were chatting with each other about where we were from. Great time had by all. My room was spotless, the bathroom gorgeous, the bed comfortable! The next morning I decided to check out the "Continental Breakfast!" It is misnamed! It was a full breakfast buffet with all you could possibly want to eat, and delicious! The folks behind the desk in the lobby were helpful, and suggested a sing-a-long in Bar Harbor town square, that was delightful. The swimming pool was just the perfect temp between warm and cool, and the surrounding area was clean, with plenty of tables and chairs. As you float on your back, you look up at the most beautiful canopy of trees gently bustling in the breeze. I had a wonderful time! Give it a try! You won't be sorry!

We stayed at the Acadia Park Inn for two nights this month. It's a spread-out motel-type establishment with all single-story buildings with outside doors. Parking was ample, the room was nicely furnished and clean with plenty of towels, etc. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, with many recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc. Delicious coffee, tea and cookies are provided in the check-in area all day long. The hotel is located a couple of miles outside of Bar Harbor along a quiet highway. While it isn't as close to town as many other hotels, it also doesn't have to put up with all the noise and traffic of town.

nice place to stay in the area. Hotel front staff was very helpful as I had forgot to bring my coupons. Was able to use them with there help. room was very nice. Breakfast was one of the nicest we have had in our travels and staying at Best Westerns. would love to come back again.

I have a family of 4, with two kids ages 7 and 10. My kids declared this as their favorite hotel. Of course, with a heated pool, freshly-baked cookies and popcorn in the lobby each day, and s'mores by a fire each night, how could they not love it? The full breakfast has many options and was always delicious. Room was always clean and the beds were perfect. Reception desk was friendly and helpful, their recommendations for dining and parking were spot on. Affordable prices, I felt this was well worth every penny. HIGHLY recommended for your stay.

This Best Western is everything. Location, room, laundry facilities, and the free breakfast was excellent! Office offers hot coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies. Staff in office very helpful. Little ladies overseeing breakfast room do a great job. We were so impressed with the offerings.

Despite the construction rerouting traffic, the location was great. Right near Acadia and just a short drive to downtown. Not to mention 5 or so minutes from Atlantic Brewing! The rooms were clean and recently renovated and a great deal considering the outrageous prices on the waterfront.

We stayed for 4 nights at this Best Western. It is on a very nice property and easy access to Acadia and 12 minute ride to Bar Harbor. The price was reasonable for this area as hotels tend to be very expensive. The staff was nice enough to upgrade us for a suite. It was nice and roomy. You could tell the bathroom and room were remodeled. Bathroom very large. Nice separate TV area with refrig. The pool area was nice and included a hot breakfast. There were usually eggs and bacon, but could also make your own waffles and had plenty of breads and cold cereals to choose from. There were lots of kids in the breakfast area so could get a little chaotic. The ladies did their best to keep things stocked and keep the chaos minimal. There was enough to get us ready for our day of exploring at Acadia. There was road construction on the way to Bar Harbor. You could get into town but had to take a detour to return. As it turned out the detour did not affect us much, just the hotels that were closer to Bar Harbor. It turns out we made a good choice without even knowing about the construction. Would recommend if visiting Acadia.

Comfortable motel in great place to explore the Acadia NP and surroundings. Quite stable and fast wifi in rooms. Very good breakfast. A lot of information about what to do. Microvawe and refrigerator in the room.

First trip to Maine, and lucked out with this selection. Perfect location to get to Cadillac Mtn for sunrise... and beat the crown for a parking space@ Wonderful staff, modern, newly decorated rooms, fantastic breakfast- definite recommend!

If you're looking for a good place to spend a weekend, I highly suggest this hotel. The only downside is if it rains, you will be soaking wet running to and from your room, breakfast are and front desk.

We stayed here and was amazed at how big and clean the rooms were. Only a few minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia. Breakfast was plentiful and area was clean, food was good. Would stay again. Great value for the area.

This is a very nice hotel. They have a lovely looking pool (did not use so no idea about amount of chlorine). Grounds are nice landscaped and there is a lawn in front for sitting/ children playing games etc. Hotel is conmvenient to Acadia Park entrance. It is not walking distance to Bar Harbor downtown but, there is bus service (not sure if it stops at hotel as we did not use.

The hotel is a nice complex with a great breakfast, nicely decorated and spacious room. Loved the cookies in the afternoon, popcorn and smores in the evening! makes you feel like you are at home! Fun times!

We stayed with a family of 4 in one room. The rooms are of OK size and every comfort (tv, fridge, safe, airco,...) is available. The pool is not that big but as there were only a couple of other people, even on a sunny day, it was large enough. The breakfast area is of limited size. If a lot of couples are occupying bigger tables for 4 or 6 it can be limited. The large map of the world where you can pin where you come from is very sympathetic. We are the Belgian pin. The breakfast itself was of good quality, with enough choice. Our 13 years old son especially liked the waffle iron so he could make his own. We prefer scrambled eggs but on the second day the choice was more of an omelette which clearly was less popular (so why bother). The staff is friendly and effective. Rooms are well cleaned. We liked the late afternoon campfire with 'smores' to get to know someone of the staff (a very friendly young local of maintenance) and other tourists. The town is a ten minute drive away. The fact that we had to do a detour on returning due to roadworks was not that annoying. It could have been if we would have chosen an eating option on the one way to town as you would have to do the same detour to get back. But that's rather a minor problem. The only thing I would try to arrange is asking people with loud vehicles (like a Harley Davidson) to park away from the buildings and certainly not letting their engine run for a long time in the evening or early morning (but you would think that people could think of that by themselves). The rooms are well isolated, so we didn't hear any noise from neighbours but isolating against a loud motorcycle is naturally something else. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of the country.

Although the rooms need a little updating, they were clean and kept in good repair. There is an excellent staff that is friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. They had to deal with helping customers with the inconvenience of road construction while we were there, but handled it proactively and made the best of the situation. Fresh cookies daily and a cookout with s'mores every night. Nice touch.

The hotel and personel was very gentle, and a very raisonable price very close to the acadia national park, also the bar very cosy, and the staff and the contineatal breakfast was very good, we were 4 brothers travelling by motorcycles and they give us a special spot to park our motorcycle so we could be in a safe place , we recommend this place , very much
