Best Western Inn at Face Rock

What a delightful location. I kinda wish we'd stayed an extra night here. But it was just a pass through destination on the 3rd night of a week and a half long road trip down the coast. Where do I start? Lovely location, very clean and comfortable. No awkward layout. It is what it is. This location isn't trying to pass itself off as a fancy hotel. It's fresh and clean. That's all I need. VERY close to their own beach access. I mean WoWza! We got there right after sunset- so enough light to see but missed the sunset. Still very beautiful. Comfortable enough bed, adequate hot water and pressure. But the true show stopper is the friendly and helpful staff. Especially the breakfast staff. What a layout. Yeah it's your typical continental spread. It's not fancy. I'm an oatmeal person. I got to try an oatmeal I hadn't tried because they stock the portioned Bob's RedMill oats with chia and flax I think. I would easily stay here again. I bet this place fills up during peak season, nice to have the beach access! It was busy and it was only March. Definitely recommend!

While there wasn't an ocean view, the beach was a short walk from the hotel and you could hear it. My room was clean and the breakfast had a great selection. This hotel is close to Bandon Old Town with lots of unique shops and food.

Great place to stay.. Rooms are amazing.. Friendly staff.. Large breakfast room with many options.. Large pool with a jacuzzi.. Close to town and great shopping.. I recommend the bandon fish market for great fish and chips..

Its hard to find a great place to stay in one of the most beautiful places in the US. Why I have no idea but this place stands out. Descent clean rooms Good Breakfast. I would not mind a duvet over sheets and blanket but. I can live with it.

Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Didn't meet a single staff that wasn't helpful or kind. Honestly great people. Room was pretty clean, maybe just a tad dusty, but otherwise seemed in great condition. Fire log was a nice touch, the view and space was fantastic. Location is great, you can enjoy so much around Bandon.

The entire hotel, grounds, and breakfast were all beautiful, but the Top Tier Quality service is really what will be bringing us back to stay. We will be coming back any time we need to stay in the area!

Inn at Face Rock is a beautiful location, close to the beach, with views of the ocean and beach from the window. I felt the service was not as good as in the past. The breakfast room was being renovated so we were given fewer (but adequate) choices and had to take the food to our room to eat. Although we stayed 4 nights we were told there would be no room service. Instead of having the trash containers emptied out daily (they are very small and we fixed all our meals in the suite) we were handed a plastic trash bag and advised to empty it ourselves and someone would pick it up but no one did, so we had a bag of trash sitting in the suite. What we really liked is kitchen available although the refrigerator was very small, but had a full stove with oven and big sink - We fixed our own meals, washed dishes. It seemed like the prior times staying there we had more kitchen supplies provided but maybe not. The location was great and it was quiet.

Good place to stay for families and pets with great beach access. The hotel is located in a sleepy part of Bandon with really nice beaches. Restaurants and shopping are only a short drive down north on Beach Loop Rd.

The room was very clean, recently updated and quiet. It was a wonderful stay. We could hear the ocean from our bed. I will be returning to this hotel. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was ok and the coffee was just ok too. But the location, the room and the town was great! Go to Banon Brewery for dinner if you like pizza and beer.

When I checked in, Tessa offered me an upgrade! She greeted me by name and was pleasant and cheerful. She thanked me for being a Diamond Elite member. The hotel is cute and clean. I love the view of the ocean. I am excited to see the completed dining room remodel.

No view. Lacked privacy as ground floor and patio was just open pad of cement with two chairs. Front door wouldn't always shut. Was quiet and staff friendly. Checking in was easy. Coffee was good. Microwave was unplugged and required the credenza to be moved to get it working

If not for the locality of this place (near Bandon Dunes), there would be very little to recommend. My room was very noisy. I could hear people above, cars in the parking lot, people walking up and down the stairs outside my door and of course, the maid utility carts were parked by my door. The price paid and the experience was not the best. The hotel across the street had views and I think I'll look there next year when we return. Also, if you do get stuck here, ask for a second story room!

Just a good clean motel. We loved our overnight stay. The linens were great, the room was clean, the access to the ocean was good, and the parking was so easy. We thought the price we had to pay was a bit steep, but we still enjoyed our stay.

They fail to tell you that there are concrete steps to get to first floor suites! A lot of steep dangerous steps plus it said partial ocean view and there was not an ocean view it was a field across the street from the ocean, Also big stain in middle of living room floor, they did switch us to another room. Plus the balconies had no chairs in them what good is a balcony without chairs!

A good and clean hotel in a pristine environment. The beach is really close and in walking distance. Guests can do their laundry and a breakfast is included. It would have been cool to do away with plastic utensils which produce a lot of unnecessary trash. Metal utensils are in use in many hotels in Europe with no problems whatsoever.

We needed a place to stay in Bandon for the night with our two West Highland Terriers and decided to stay with Best Western because I'm a Gold star member. We did experience sticker shock with the over $300 price tag for a stay during a Tuesday night. The rooms are more private being more like a towhome with just another guest room above with a breezeway in between the rooms on the other side which is nice; however, the rooms are very average and don't have AC so it can be quite stuffy in the room on a sunny and warm day (which is was). The room was mostly clean but the tile in the bathroom near the shower needs a good cleaning and the cushions on the chairs. The window in the bathroom would not open which would have helped with the stuffiness in the room. Be prepared to drive to Bandon to get food because there isn't anything close by. The staff was very friendly both at the front desk and at breakfast.

Great location in Bandon, close to the ocean, near where you can see the face rock formation. The room was not large, but comfortable . Beds are comfortable. Had a really good hot breakfast included. I love it when they have a waffle maker for waffles on demand ! Check out the nearby town of old Bandan.

The breakfast which was bulit in the price was sub-par. We walked into Best Western's resturant and was very dispoointed of the sugary, carb loaded, highly processed, fatty unhealthy meat option breakfast fare. We drank the coffee and tea but that was it. Even the juices were loaded with sugar. We were grateful there were a number of places nearby that served healthy breakfasts.

Good, spacious rooms - clean hotel with good service - Typical BW breakfast... it's ok. Close enough to town, restaurants and sightseeing. Recommend dinner at "Lord Bennett's" (better and a bit less pricey than "Edgewaters".) "Tony's Crab Shack" and "Wheelhouse" restaurants are good, too.

We had a pleasant stay at this nice and quiet hotel. It reminded me of condos with a nice grassy area in between units. If you have littles it would be a nice place to play. Our room was great! Clean and decorated nicely. The photos were lovely and the tall ceilings made the room feel larger. The bathroom was huge with a great mirror and full length mirror. The fridge was a good size too! Larger than your standard hotel fridges. The staff was very nice. You can't beat the private beach access. A lovely stroll to the amazing beach. My only suggestion: change the shower curtain. It had mold spots which kind of grossed me out. Other than that, the room was spotless.

This was a perfect place to stay. We love going to Bannon old Town. It's a short drive to the Mill Casino. The food in old Town was great. We ate at several places in town, never had a bad meal. Check the restaurant for Reservations for you go..

Our Queen Suite was far larger than expected, and impeccably clean. Everyone was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. The suite was stocked with everything we needed, and the real wood burning fire was a bonus!

Best Western Inn at Face Rock is best described by my family as our "home away from home." We are 100% satisfied staying at this hotel. We already recommend your lodging to anyone we know coming to town, in search of terrific hospitality, and a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The breakfast is an added bonus, it's excellent! Hot and with a myriad of choices. And the hostesses are so friendly. The pool area is comfortable, totally family-friendly and aesthetically pleasing, and the view is outstanding. You can hear the waves! The service here is incredible. We will always choose your hotel! 5 star! A+

By far the best BW property that I have stayed. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. the property was well kept and clean. The breakfast was great, and the entire staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed every morning

Stayed one night on our travels at this hotel. It was lovely from the staff at the front counter to the room and amenities. We stayed a suite and loved it. Would definitely stay again. Short walk to the beach where you could walk for miles and miles.

We stayed in a suite. It was lovely to have the fireplace and the log ready to be lit on a rainy day. It was also nice to have a sofa to sit on as opposed to sitting on a bed to watch tv. Fully equipped kitchen and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful when needed.

Lying Awake in a smelly room listening to the occupants next door sneeze/argue and fight while their television is at the highest volume. Would not stay here again nor would I recommend to anyone. There has to be Better in Banon.

The hotel was full, but we never heard another dog once everyone got settled in for the evening. There is a nice spot behind the rooms for dog walks late or early. The beach access is a good hike through the sand but worth the views. Good Breakfast options.

We stayed in the Sunset Suites and had great views of the ocean and sunsets almost every night. The suites are similar to a small one bedroom apartment with an extra big bathroom. The kitchenette is limited in the utensils, dishes and amenities but if know that before going you can easily bring your own items from home. One item that would be nice to know for those that have issues with stairs is that there are a handful of the Sunset Suites that are on the bottom and you need to go down very steep stairs - there is a railing on both sides for assistance but it was very intimidating the first few times. There was an easy access trail to the beach from the hotel parking lot. We didn't get to use the pool but heard a lot of kids enjoying it:) And the free breakfast is your usual affair that you typically find at hotels - for people with gluten or dairy allergies it is very, very limited. All in all, we had a wonderful time and loved visiting Bandon - since it was our first time staying in Bandon we will most likely try other places to stay but will keep this hotel on our list of places we would stay again if needed.

The front desk staff was wonderful, very polite and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Everything seemed new. The carpet was flawless. The TV worked well. The bathroom was spotless. The location is great for beach access - there is a dedicated pathway for guests - but too far from the old town to walk. This is an excellent place to stay if you have a car.

The only positive thing about this property is the staff. Excellent, dedicated personnel from the front desk staff (Eileen and the other lady - whose name and not whose kindness I have regretfully forgotten) and the breakfast room staff - were well above average. The room was smelly and seriously in need of renovation - it has mold and I pointed that out to the front desk on the second day of our stay. Even the in-room coffee and machine were aged. The 'amenities' were minimal to say the least - indeed, there was a cake of soap left from the pervious occupant. A friend of ours occupying 804 spent a night without heating. Overall, I would be insulting Motel 6 if I compared it to that elderly provider of cheap, clean, accommodation - This one is so overpriced, it is almost highway robbery.

On previous visits we had reserved suites and really enjoyed our accommodation, breakfast and overall stay, even though both were during COVID. This time we slipped up and innocently reserved a cottage, which ended up being on the ground floor. The floors are thin and we heard every step from our overhead neighbors. Our cottage had heating which we left set at 60-degrees, so was never used. No cooling, so our room was consistently well over 70-degrees without any air circulation. Our room faced onto the parking lot and suffered badly from light pollution from outside as well as inside. By moving the couch against the curtains, placing a rolled-up towels over the door, and unplugging the microwave and hair-dryer, we managed to tone down some of the light. Breakfast was worse than disappointing - the grab-and-go breakfasts during COVID were so very much better. UN-notable breakfast items included - 'scrambled eggs' that were not, very strong sausage, minute oats, but no microwave, tiny tubs of yogurt, and the same things repeated the second day. At $300 per day in September, maybe we set our hopes too high after our earlier visits. Now, sadly, we know.

Just across the street from the beach (though no ocean views at all) and a short drive to the main town, location is great. Breakfast is filling and staffed well with friendly hosts that make sure the buffet remains stocked. The main attraction for my kids was the pool. The water was a reasonable temperature, and the pool big enough for multiple families to enjoy at the same time. And there are plenty of comfortable chairs for those who don't want to swim.

Rooms are odd shaped. If staying in summer avoid upper rooms as they heat up more and the is no ac. For the price it is a fairly low budget place with old uncomfortable beds and foam pillows. A small fan is the only cooling and there is only a small rear window in the bathroom so getting a cross current is impossible to cool room.

There was a problem with the bill when I checked in. The quote was $40 more than I originally signed up for. When I questioned it they said that was what I signed up for but when I came back and brought up my email to show them they said oh yes we we corrected that and the computer has a mind of its own. Thats weird! I like this I like the fact that all of the dog rooms are in one area and surrounded by green grass so the people staying there are forgiving when your dog accidentally gets off leash. The rooms are small with barely enough room to walk as they all have queen beds but the area where they're located is nice and lots of grass for the pets outside.

We love to stay at the Best Western Inn At Face Rock in Bandon, Oregon. We had a wonderful view of the beach & ocean waves breaking on the shore. A special delight of the day was watching the line of horse back riders from a near by stable "parade" along the edge of the sand & water. We saw this twice a day very often. This time we celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary at our favorite Motel.

Very different layout, with one wing very dog friendly with a huge grassy area in the back. Nice room with patio entrance as well as main door. Beach very close and easily accessible. Bandon downtown very cute with lots of shops and restaurants.

The staff at check-in were friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean. Breakfast was one of the best that we have experienced at any hotel stay. The beds were comfortable. Internet was great. Overall, a great stay!

I booked a queen suite, and got a one bedroom apartment! It was awesome, right down to the working fireplace! Having two full bathrooms and a completely separate sleeping and living space enhanced the entire experience.

This hotel grounds are a large, beautiful area just steps away from the beach with access just for hotel guests. The rooms are good sized, tastefully done and very clean. The breakfast area is large serving a good variety of breakfast food.

About us: Family of 4 (two teenagers), two rooms. Easy access to the beach, and a short walk to Face Rock. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very comfortable beds. And the kind staff really puts this property over the top. We want to go back!

We stayed her for one night on our Oregon road trip with our teenaged kids. We loved this hotel. The room was nice, the beds were comfy, the hot tub was great, easy access to the beach, great breakfast.

Very large, well landscape property that is pet friendly and a close walk to one of the most beautiful beaches along the Oregon coast. Quiet, well appointed rooms. If you don't feel up to walking over to the beach the large property is great for a stroll with your pup. One of the best provided breakfasts on our entire three week trip. Very large breakfast area with lots of tasty choices.

What a great surprise! This not only is this the best BW I've ever stayed at it is one of the top properties ever of any brand. Clean, comfortable, beautiful surroundings.and feet away from the beach. Kathy at the front desk is a delight. Absolutely would recommend this property. I would make an effort just to return to the area to stay here. Bandon is a great little town, with great places to dine and shop.

This hotel exceeded everything we could have imagined. Wow – just wow. From the first person we encountered checking in, all through our 2-day stay, this hotel was top-notch! The accommodations were so clean & comfortable that we wished we'd booked our entire Oregon coast time there! The 2nd bathroom was a surprise, the room to move around was fantastic, the view amazing, and the super-easy walk to the beach was just beyond fabulous. The water pressure in the shower was better than any hotel we've ever been to. The breakfast was just great – plenty to choose from. We hope we can visit Bandon, and this hotel, again!

We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to restaurants and shopping. Because When we stay at a hotel we prefer to walk to restaurants and such. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Everything was in working order. We would stay here again.

We arrived without a reservation hoping for a pet friendly room. There were none. Eileen called several local businesses to see if there were any. There weren't. She then called an incoming guest to see if they had a pet ( they were in a pet friendly room) they didn't she upgraded them for free and then allowed us to have a pet room!!!! It was miserable out and we were in a tent. The room was clean and fresh. I even checked for dust on the picture frame there wasn't any. None under the bed. The room was super clean and nice. There was plenty of water pressure and hot water. Just like at home. The hot tub was functioning and clean. The breakfast was the standard fare but fine. All in all an excellent stay. I found everything to be prefect. Eileen was beyond except. The employee seemed to genuinely enjoy working here. I highly recommend this motel. I am hard to impress

My husband and I recently spent two nights at this hotel. We reserved a suite and were pleasantly surprised at the size. We had a small kitchen, nice living room, two bathrooms, a separate bedroom and a balcony with an ocean view. The suite was nicely furnished and very comfortable. The grounds are very nice with lovely landscaping and ample parking. There is a very convenient beach access.. The breakfast was top notch. Freshly cooked eggs, pancakes, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereals, yogurt and toast were served. The breakfast staff is constantly replenishing items and were very friendly. If visiting this area again, I would definitely stay here.

We did not have a reservation but were able to get a suite at the last minute. Since it was a suite (only room available) we had to pay a little more that we would have liked for just two people, but the room was very nice with a fireplace that we used & back deck where we could hear & see a bit of the ocean. This is a nice hotel with a very good breakfast included.

The location of this hotel can't be beat. The beach access is easy and close. The road is very quiet. The appeal of the hotel rooms is that it's not cookie cutter. Wonderful large king beds, nice TV, and other furniture are great.

This is the second excellent BW I've been a guest. BW Agate Inn Newport Oregon and this one within the last 2 months. Superior hotels! Bed very comfortable, great internet, variety of streaming movie channels, clean rooms and friendly staff. The one item that I would change and upgrade is to have a organic coffee choice. Price is higher than what I normally pay, however, the overall stay and having a reward's program justifies the stay.

Our family came together here from around the state of Oregon. Best Western made sure our accomodations were just right and it was so comfortable. We were able to use one of the conference rooms for a 90th birthday party for our Mom and it was just the best experience!

Great place to stay in Bandon with pets! Close walk to the beach. The rooms are not all ocean front but you can still hear the ocean with your window open. This place is super clean and the staff is friendly. We will be back

Loved our stay at this BW location which included our small dog. The Pet friendly room was very clean, fresh smelling and comfortable. Lots of nice areas for walking pets and a smoking area in a covered gazebo near the rooms which was nice during the rain! Small porch/patio area in front with chairs was nice, parking very close to our room. Breakfast food was great in different offerings and all tasted fresh. Nice large space for dining and it was kept very clean and food was plentiful. Desk staff all super nice. Mattresses were super comfortable as were the pillows. Room did have some noise from upstairs occupants (children and large dogs) so I would recommend the upper floor room over the bottom for that reason.

We visit Bandon frequently and always stay at the Best Western Inn at Face Rock. Why? Super friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and the ever-present roar of the sea. And the free breakfast is just terrific!

It isn't bad but it isn't great. Next to the beach but there is an ugly building between the hotel and the beach. The suite isn't worth it. Breakfast is a standard continental. It's cheap place but it was the best available option when I stayed in Bandon.

Exceptional experience, we will surely come back in this place. And will share with friends. The staff are very friendly, clean facilities and good breakfast. They accommodate our requests regarding my son's allergy.

Simple rooms, nice amenities, well prepared complimentary breakfast, and great to have close access to the beach. Our family was very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We would definitely consider coming back on a future trip!

We had an amazing stay here. There is not a lot of decent family hotels like this in the lower coast so we came to Bandon specifically to stay here. So clean! Horse riding nearby + shopping. Great breakfast. East beach access (it is not beach front). Comfortable beds. See you next trip!

What a wonderful peaceful place! No loud neighbors, great staff and the amenities were amazing to have back now that Covid is passing. We have missed out favorite vacation get away. Its been two years since we last stayed so we couldn't be happier everything is open once again!

Stayed here during a golf trip in Bandon. Rooms had everything we needed. Comfy beds, nice TV and a seating area as well. There was a nice complementary breakfast in the morning with a variety of options. Would certainly stay here again.

I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly! My husband and I spent two nights in a queen suite, which was wonderfully spacious and comfortable. The furnishings and decor are attractive, with tasteful touches that have a four-star feel. The setting is quiet and offers glimpses of the ocean, particularly pretty around sunset. The staff members with whom we interacted were very amiable and welcoming. Our room was very clean, and we truly appreciated the mask requirements to ensure everyone's safety. I would happily stay here again!

With the fresh remodeling you would think this hotel would satisfy all your wants and needs. Unfortunately, if a good nights rest is what you seek, look elsewhere. Despite the pretty new upgrades the hotel's remodeling has left the sound proofing less than to be desired. Hearing your neighbors every last movement, heater turn on, bath run, drawers and doors opening and closing, conversations… etc is what you get. Sadly losing all privacy in each of the rooms and ending up with a restless night sleep was the last thing I expected with a $200 probe tag per night in the off season. If you bring your pets do note that they are “strict” about their pet policies. Yet it doesn't apply to everyone. We found that people were walking the premise with no leashes and leaving their animals outside with no supervision, despite said “pet policies”. Let's talk about the amenities. The pool is not terribly deep, and is also incorrectly labeled for its depth at the far end, so be sure to watch your kids closely! It is also extremely cold, to the point that my mother, who is normally an early morning swimmer and doesn't usually mind the cold, refused to go back in. The spa was moderately warm but severely stained and in desperate need of updating as the jet's did not have much of any pressure. The heater in the spa turned on briefly but did not last terribly long. We left after a half an hour as all the windows were open and with the ice cold pool and temperatures outside dripping back down into the 30s it wasn't much fun for my 1 & 3 year old children. On the phone while making the reservation we were promised views of the ocean, unfortunately this is only the case in a small selection of rooms so be cautious of the front desk clerks stories to sell that “last room”. Ours was absolutely no where near these select rooms, despite the promise of these views. Pros: the breakfast was definitely one of the better ones we have experienced. Food was fresh, there were two attendants maintaining the breakfast and there was a great variety available for the whole family. Also, there is private beach access, but it does not lead you directly to face rock. In fact, face rock is another half a mile down the road. But the beach is still quite nice. When I brought up my concerns to the desk clerk I was met with an apology and an eagerness to get me out the door. She had no intention to rectify the situation, which is why I have come to leave my review here. I do not leave reviews… ever. I do not waste my time, but don't want you to waste yours or your hard earned money on this over priced dump where you will likely not get any rest. They are likely trying to recon some of the expenses they've dished out on the terrible construction recently done which is probably why we paid over $200 for one night in the off season. Good luck!

Gorgeous property clean rooms and pretty good breakfast just be prepared for rude staff at breakfast if you don't wear a mask walking in or maybe it was because my husband had dark skin not sure which but lady was rude and kept staring

Our room was the queen suite #108 with 2 full bathrooms. Partial view of the ocean. Bed was comfy, it was nice that they have extra fans in the room since I need one for sleep. Shower stays nice and hot. We were very happy with being able to have a separate room away from the kids for a little quiet and privacy. It would have been nice to have more towels since we were staying for 2 nights. We also ran out of towels at the pool so we took some from the gym. I did tell the front desk that they were out. We will definitely be coming back for a couples stay and hope to get a better view of the ocean next time.

I am not sure what it was this time, but the hotel room we stayed in was not clean and there were no sheets or bedding for the sofa bed.The glassware and cookware were covered in sticky fingerprints and stuck on food. There was also candy stuck to the floor mold growing in the shower. The person at the front desk was amazing and she is the reason I am giving two stars instead of zero.

I stayed in a king bed suite here. I thought it might be overkill at first, with a full living room and two bathrooms, but the space was really nice for a few drinks and hanging out with a guest on New Year's Eve. The description of the hotel states they have Jacuzzi suites, but they are not offered online. When I inquired on check-in as to why I never see any Jacuzzi suites available, I was told that guests kept renting the rooms and allowing pets in them, so they stopped allowing them to be reserved online. I find this to be a really bogus reason not to allow them to be reserved online, as I may have reserved one of these rooms if available online. I rarely have the time to look up a number and call somewhere, and usually do all my reservations online. I think this seems like a silly solution for such an issue, and it should be changed.

We stayed here on the way to Portland from San Francisco. Nice people, nice location. The room is clean and close to many beach trails. We were upgraded due to my membership. Overall really happy with the stay and will comeback again

This was a lovely BW and in contrast to the last one we stayed at which was shabby The place was clean the balcony was an actually balcony the view was open and we could even see the ocean a bit It was a stormy night and still I was warm and cosy. I loved the spacious grounds too. I would book a two night room next time so we could enjoy it even more

Inn at Face Rock is our normal place to stay when visiting Bandon. It is always so comfy, and the staff are really helpful and friendly. In a erect world, given their proximity to the ocean, the rooms would have a better view. But it is what it is!

We arrived on thanksgiving for our 5 year anniversary trip. The staff was kind, check in was speedy, rooms are nice . Beach access is super close. Great location. This is our second time at this hotel.

This was our first time staying at the BW in Bandon. The room was spacious with two bathrooms which was lovely and a kitchen. Cobwebs and dirty walls wasn't a great impression when we walked in though. It was spot cleaned but not had a deep clean in awhile. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The beach access was amazing. Our extra towels were left on the dirty front door mat by housekeeping. The rest of the staff was pleasant. This property has a lot of potential and the lay out of the rooms were ideal. Just need to focus on the cleaning and we just may come back to try it out again.

We were told they clean the jacuzzi tub after every guest. The floating ash from the jets and the overwhelming weed smell causing us to leave early says otherwise. My daughter was given moldy muffins as well and the hot water was scarce.

We loved this place. Nice little patio overlooking the ocean. Just a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of travel. The staff was very helpful in helping us find a restaurant for dinner. An added plus was access to the beach just across the street. This was a fantastic find.

I was amazed with the BWI-FR's campus and location near the beach. Buildings are separated with some distance between them and the property itself made it a treat for our little dog to enjoy some leg-stretching after two weeks of car travel. The beach itself, just a short walk away, is gorgeous whether it's foggy or sunny outside. Check-in/check-out were very simple. The breakfast was the standard COVID "grab-n-go" fare with recommendations from staff as to where to go if you want more. We didn't use the pool or exercise facility but they appeared clean and well-maintained. Our room had that "over-sanitized" smell which took a bit of time to vent out. I guess before the pandemic is over we'll start getting used to that fragrance. We only stayed one night. I'd certainly enjoy a longer sojourn here as we discovered therer's so much to do in the Bandon area. One day...

This place is really great, and a terrific value for the money. We had unit 110, which was basically a 1-bedroom, 2 full bath condo! You never find 2 bathrooms in hotel rooms, and we were thrilled. Also a small kitchen. The beach and pacific sunset were just a short walk across the street, and our unit had a good view of the water. The free breakfast was COVID-friendly, and plentiful. Basically, they offer a bag breakfast, with lots of options, and very friendly service. We played golf at Bandon Dunes, and initially were unhappy that we couldn't get rooms at the resort, but now think this is better. There were only 3 restaurants open on Bandon Dunes, but near this Inn, we had a number of options for either carry-out or outside seating. The fireplace was nice for cool nights. It was also very quiet. Finally, they had an excellent laundry facility, where the washers and dryers worked perfectly. We hope to return soon!

We just ha a great weekend at Best Western Face Rock Inn at Bandon Oregon. Driving there was an experience. A big storm/monsoon made it so you couldn't see more than about 8 feet in front of your car - but the storm turned to sunshine the next morning!. Nice room, helpful staff and very clean!

I'm surprised by the quietness of this Best Western- has great privacy. Love the dog run in the back. There's a selection of wine in the lobby that I wish I knew about. If the bathroom and floors are a bit cleaner, would make a perfect stay. I still consider this a nice lodging.

We loved our suite that consisted of a separate bedroom, a kitchenette, sofa, table and 2 bathrooms! The 2 bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. Our room had a partial view of the ocean and a deck to enjoy the sunset. The furnishings were basic but in perfect condition. The room was immaculate and roomy.

Overall, the place is decent. The rooms are clean and good sized. Sadly, when you drive up, it has the feel of a senior living facility or maybe some mid scale apartments. Maybe just me, but the vibe is weird for a vacation hotel. Very dog friendly.

Best Western is an odd hotel chain in that its properties can range anywhere from "fleabag" to near-exquisite. And this location is clearly on the favorable end of that continuum. I don't think any other major hotel chain has such a wide disparity in quality across its properties; when considering BW you really need to research the location you're contemplating. Here are some observations about the Bandon location: (1) The room was clean and comfortable (2) The grounds of this property are immense, with wide expanses of lush green grass. (3) The property consists of several buildings, each with a handful of rooms. Ground level rooms have a porch; second floor rooms have balconies. We had a ground level room and used the porch door exclusively for entry and exit (such can be done with the room key). (4) The hotel is on the inland side of a lightly-trafficked road running parallel to the coast. Guests can walk to the beach easily in two minutes by way of a trail that starts on the other side of the road opposite the hotel office. (5) All hotel personnel with whom I interacted (front desk, breakfast, housekeeping) were cheerful, friendly, and helpful, and gave the impression that they enjoy their jobs. (6) The hotel is dog-friendly; several guests (including us) had dogs, all of whom were happy and well-behaved. If you do bring your dog, I suggest you book you reservation directly with this specific hotel location (not via the BW website or a third party booking site) to ensure everything is in order for the dog. (7) Due to COVID, the (complimentary) breakfast is handled on a take-out basis. It'll include the following: yogurt, packaged orange juice, cereal (some choice here - cold cereal packs or instant oatmeal), granola bar, prepackaged mixed fruit cup, muffin, boiled eggs, milk. (8) The hotel has an indoor pool, hot tub, and a small fitness center (I'm an avid exerciser; during my stay, I got my exercise by running on the beach, a far more preferable option). Although our experience was positive, there were a couple of drawbacks: (1) The TV kept losing its signal; we'd watch for ten minutes, then it would cut out. Then maybe 5 minutes later it would come back on. And on and off and on and off. This wasn't a big deal because we came here to enjoy the beautiful coastline in and around Bandon, not to watch TV. But still it was irritating. And it had nothing to do with the weather; the weather was calm and serene during our stay. (2) There is very little soundproofing of the room. Rooms are not carpeted (which makes sense for a beach-oriented hotel) and we heard every footstep of the guests in the room above ours, and anytime the guests upstairs used the water, it was loud. If you are picky about noise, this might not be the hotel for you . . . or maybe ask for a second floor room.

The suite had good potential for a nice, comfortable stay, but attention to detail in providing furnishings & appointments was seriously lacking. For example, the kitchenette lacked the very basics, e.g. there was no knife and no bottle opener. We certainly expected better for the exorbitant price that we paid.

I've stayed at this hotel for many years- even prior to it becoming a BW property. Throughout the years I've always enjoyed every stay. The location and the grounds are beautiful and the accommodations are comfortable. When we departed after our recent stay- I realized I had left a t-shirt on the bed. Oh no! It's my favorite sleepwear!!! A simple Pima cotton white v-neck tee from LL Bean. I know this sounds ridiculous… the thing is LL Bean doesn't make them anymore. So losing it mattered to me. I called the hotel immediately after realizing my mistake and offered to pay for its return. Today I received a call from the manager that they found it and will be mailing it back to me. Great customer service… well done. Thank you.

It is a nice place with a wonderful view and easy beach access. The kitchenette suite is more like a condo than a hotel room. They are doing a good job with breakfast during Covid. We will come back with our dog.

The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. Beware if you have trouble with stairs the lower units with an ocean view have very steep stairs down to the units. Steepness caught us off guard. The kitchen could have had a few more utensils but covid likely had a hand in the amount of utensils. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish covid wasn't still a factor as breakfast was just a grab & go. They did a great job for the circumstances.

Enjoyed our stay. Room was modern and clean with a private balcony. Check in professional and quick. Plenty of parking. Condo style hotel situated in a residential area near the ocean. Two restaurants within a mile. Breakfast was grab-and-go and was the only negative. Very quiet location off 101.

Bandon is amazing. Great restaurants and views. Cozy boardwalks and stunning views. Best Western needs to up their game to keep up. The good: Big room, new tile, comfy bed. Walkout patio with nice grassed front and a wine “shop” in lobby. Responsive staff (although sometimes response was ‘can't do anything') The bad: this is not on the beach. We walked through the Windermere hotel to get to amazing beach. (You can get to beach right by Windermere office) (So wish we'd booked the Windermere. What views. ) BW The bath is typical old best western style and didn't drain to boot. :( Stayed in July and although cool breezes outside, room was stuffy and we were told “oh we don't have air only heat, use the little tower in room to cool it. Which kinda worked but we had to keep shutting off heater that also tried to turn on. Had we been upstairs we'd have just opened window and would have been cool but the point is to get a first floor so you can walk across street to beach. Also the clock alarm malfunctioned and flashed bright in middle night. The pool and hot tub looked low quality prefabbed. Using COVID as an excuse for crappy breakfast bag with corn syrup fruit cups (that junk your mom used to send you to school with) I think they should just remove “breakfast” lots of places don't give free breakfast, do it well or skip it. Coffee was terrible too. Book Windermere if you can. This is a decent budget option if you need bc the area and beach are amazing!! Oh and you must eat dinner at Lord Bennett's seafood.

I just wish that the cost was a bit less, I would have stayed a couple more days if it wasn't so much. I love this Best Western, we stop here every year in March. We were just lucky enough to have time to visit again this year.

The rooms are nice and clean and for the most part we enjoyed our stay. Although we completely understood covid has not allowed all to come back normal the breakfast was disappointing. It was an elementary school type cold breakfast with elementary portions.

We have stayed in Bandon so many times, but always in a rental with the folks. This time it was just the four of us, but two older kids? They needed their own room. Our room had a king bed but a little sitting area so there was a place for the four of us to hangout and eat snacks. We took the private trail down to the beach and got our skin-scouring treatment from the wind. Kathy checked us in, and was delightful, and our breakfast helper-older gentleman, white hair, super friendly!-helped us with our grab and go buffet. We would definitely stay here again! Loved it!

We've stayed here a number of times while visiting Bandon. It's our go-to. There are houses for rent and other hotels with better views but this hotel has always been very clean, close to beach, and accommodating.

Thought we booked a luxury hotel experience based on website photos and ended up in an old apartment complex turned into an “Inn”. Back patio area looked at a gravel lot and storage building. No ocean or beach views from the room or property.

Room was very nice, I enjoyed not having to share a bathroom since it had 2. Plus a small kitchen. Those stairs are a killer though be prepared for a workout after the beach. Great view from my room but I could hear kids all morning jumping on floor. Definitely try and get top floor. Internet sucks and I don't think I could stay connected for then two minutes. I would go back again. Hotel staff was friendly and it was clean and the price was good for holiday weekend

What a cute little set up! The rooms are almost like a little condo with each building having four rooms. The only downfall was that the pool was closed because it was up to the individual owner to decide when to open. We stayed in 4 different hotels on our trip thru Oregon and this was the only hotel that still hadn't opened up the pool due to covid. Another thing to note Is that there isn't any air conditioning in the rooms. It's cool enough to not need it, but when you open the windows, your room gets damp. Our toilet paper on the roll was damp and sticky. The beach is beautiful and just a short walk away. Close to Bandon Dunes golf!

The location of the hotel is good. We had a room with an ocean view. However, the room was dirty. There was a kitchen and the stove had not been cleaned it was full of grease on the top. The linens on the bed were wet. We asked for a new comforter and duvet and were told there were no more conforters and were offered another blanket. The room had a pullout sofa bed which was very hard and the matress had blood stains on it. Overall this was the grossest room I have encountered in a long time. I expected more for a $300 night room.

My daughter and I were on a ten day road trip, driving from San Francisco to Seattle and back again. We only made one advanced hotel reservation and stopped when we decided it was time to stop. We were driving through Bandon and decided it was time to stop for the night. We booked the Best Western because it was a familiar hotel but it exceeded our expectations by far. The building(s) looked like condos, not a hotel. The location, across from the ocean was perfect. The staff at check in and check out were beyond friendly. And...they sell decently priced wine in the lobby (yay!). I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I ever found myself in Bandon again (golf, anyone?).

No house keeping, no breakfast no pool as advertised, no hot tub not even Coffey in the lobby treated like a bum when ask for a towl after six days 220 a night for a over priced motel. No air conditioning. Mold all over bathroom and get rid of carpet if no is going to clean them

U can find better quality and appreciation for patronage elsewhere. Price was high for the amenities. Check in is terribly slow as was the house keeping. We are BW diamond select members and this does not seem to matter.

Best Western at Face Rock offers excellent lodgings in a quiet place, close to a beautiful beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with views of the beach nearby. After descending to the beach one can walk to the right for about one mile to the gorgeous Face Rock formation.

We rented a “suite” with kitchenette - but it's really basically a condo! 2 bathrooms, full mini kitchen, and fully separate living area with both a pull-out sofa and a cot. With that in mind, I think it's a good value. The bagged breakfast is plentiful and served with great conversation. I also miss hot breakfasts, but they'll come back some day. Most “ocean views” are pretty limited, but 201 & 202 look like theirs might be pretty great. The walk to the beach is very short and it's secluded and gorgeous out there. The whole property is really peaceful. We came for Circles in the Sand and really enjoyed the community and artistry. Some residents we encountered sneered at our masks, but the businesses (even the mask-optional ones) were all very welcoming. Our one disappointment was that the pool & hot tub are closed - these should be safe even in COVID times, so I guess it's a staffing/ cost thing. But the kids were really looking forward to that.

The room was exceptionally clean; staff were friendly and accommodating, and the amenities were great. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette, which made eating in very doable. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable.

We love to visit Bandon. The ocean, rock formations and long walks on the beach are refreshing. This was our first stay with BW at this location. It's an older facility but we'll maintained. The sound proofing was excellent; no noise from other guests. The room has a microwave and mini fridge. The bed was comfortable and we were able to rest. It is not often we stay at a hotel where our door opens to the outdoors but we felt safe. The beach is walking distance. Keep in mind that if you are looking for face rock and some of the other formations, they are a short couple of miles down the road. We drove and used free public parking. There is free breakfast here with muffins, oatmeal, etc. the WiFi is good enough to stream a movie. Good location and a fair price. We will stay here again.

There is no need to repeat what other reviews have said.....it is clean (although the overwhelming smell of bleach when we entered the room had us opening doors and windows right away...but it dissipated quickly), spacious, and comfortable. All of us with pets were welcomed with dog treats and poop bags. We were all housed in the 700-800 rooms to the rear of the property, which was fine. Our pooch met new friends. The only drawback to that back lot is that there is insufficient parking. We returned after watching the sunset from an overlook nearer the town center, and the lot was full. We ended up parking by the office and walking a ways. Not a showstopper, but inconvenient. The "grab and go" breakfast was ok, under the circumstances, but every property we stayed at on this trip offered the exact same items, hotel chain or not. I realize this is a resort-y area, but for an off-season visit this property is pretty overpriced for the amenities. Also, and I mentioned this at checkout, there were no trash receptacles anywhere around the pet buildings. The desk clerk disagreed with me, but honestly, they must have all been taken in for cleaning or something. We finally found one close to the office. This presents a problem when you are being considerate and picking up after your pet. Oh, and there are beautiful pictures and artwork on the walls of the lobby. One is the Native American legend of Face Rock. It would be nice if this were printed out and given to guests at check-in.

OK, this wasn't my first choice of where to stay in Bandon, but having made a semi-spontaneous plan, there were no homes available for rent and I went with this. What a lovely surprise! Don't let the words "Best Western" turn you off - this is a terrific property with an unbelievably good location and top-notch staff and service. We rented a suite, which was incredibly spacious and comfy, with a balcony with partial ocean view. Such a wonderful spot to hang out with a glass of Oregon wine and watch the sunset. The service and staff here were also excellent, with lots of recommendations and information about what was open and closed due to the pandemic. The little store had a nice selection of wines and beers and snacks, too. Really just a great experience that I can't recommend highly enough.

Very clean room and close to nice restaurants, shops and the beach is right across the street. The staff was very friendly. Be sure to ask for a room with no stairs. If you like to walk you can be to downtown Bandon in 20 minutes by walking and it's a beautiful walk!

Disappointed with our stay here. This place is not worth the price. Our room was dark and uninspired. Dishes were dirty and no sponge to clean them with. This hotel is not on the beach, pics on website are misleading. You must cross a street and walk down a long path to get to the beach. Rushed service at the front desk. Would not stay here again.

Large property has many buildings spread out, with a few rooms in each one. Good parking. Room was well maintained. Across the street from the ocean, but pretty good access. Very clean room. Good covid precautions. Excellent value, better than other nearby hotels. Good restaurants closeby.

We had a two night stay at The INN AT FACE ROCK IN Bandon, OR, Price was high, but the suite we had provided a a very lovely partial view of the Pacific Ocean, Only about 150 yards away. The only complaint we had was with the "sack" breakfast that was provided instead of the hot breakfast in a very nice large eating area which we have had in the past. It was stated that this was "Due to the COVID restrictions" However the restaurants in the area were open for indoor seating. Most items were the same both mornings, With very little choice of what we got. When I mentioned to the server that my wife did not like strawberry/banana yogurt, he did not respond appropriately at all in my opinion When you pay over 200 bucks a night per room before taxes, I believe you have the right to expect more.

This best western is quite unique in the way that the rooms are spread out in small cottages. The private beach access is amazing. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They are very dog friendly and offered treats when we arrived.

We used Bandon/BW as our basecamp for the second half of our coastal roadtrip, accessing areas like Face Rock (5 minutes away), Blacklock and Cape Blanco (25-30 minutes away), and Boardman (90 minutes away). We stayed in a king suite - and did use the sofa-bed in the living room. The living room was big enough to reconfigure things in a way where we could keep the sofa-bed open and position sitting chairs in view of the deck/partial ocean view. While it is correct that COVID has reduced a lot of services (esp breakfast), BW did a good job serving folks each day - providing a fair number of choices. All staff and guests seemed to be wearing masks and practicing social distancing. We had a small kitchenette and were able to do some meal preparation (including grocery order/pick-up less than 10 minutes away) - but there was no dishwasher or glasses, and very limited silverware. My only negatives about the room were: (1) the deck sliding door lock was broken and some creative carpentry had been done to make an odd but not obvious new locking system that was sort of funky/loose; (2) when we arrived, there was a towel hanging on the bathroom door that seemed to have been used by the previous guest that wasn't picked up; (3) there was a real fireplace in the room but they only gave you 1 Duraflame log (when I asked for another, I was told - just one, they had no others and couldn't recommend any sources in town where we could buy our own). So - I do understand some of the other/recent reviews (since this was a fairly pricey room given comparisons to other places we stayed that had more to offer), but I think BW did their best given regional limitations.

The “breakfast” has changed from scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles to a brown paper bag with vending machine food. They raised their prices and cut out amenities. They could have offered the same breakfast fare and boxed it up. Nope! They saw an opportunity to gouge their guests. Pathetic!

A long week so we looked on trip advisor and found this Gem. The beach access is just minutes away. Well worth my 5 minutes walk. Breakfast was grab n go but so many choices. Love it.To turn heat on off switch on wall by bathroom. Shower water is really Hot.We were in room 701,pet room it doesn't smell like a pets ever been in there. The housekeepers do a fabulous job. Super cleen

The Inn at Face Rock in Bandon, Oregon, is the cleanest and tidiest hotel that we have ever experienced (including luxury 4-star resorts). To a person the staff is friendly, helpful and fun. The grab-and-go breakfast is so convenient and served with a smile. You can see and hear the awesome Pacific from the property, and a 5-minute walk puts you right on classic Oregon beaches under towering cliffs and sea stacks.

We had a king suite. It had a fire place and a separate bedroom/bathroom and a kitchenette. I didn't expect that for the price we paid. Lovely and spacious. The weather was a little stormy, so it was so nice to have a comfortable room to hang out in. Also with this inconvenient “virus” it was nice to have a comfortable and spacious room to dine in. This was a great experience!

I stayed in room 102, great room. Cozy fireplace, no kitchen but I wasnt there to cook gourmet meals lol. And the view was amazing! I was able to hear the waves crashing. All of this was unfortunately after an incident with my original room nit being fully cleaned, but the staff went above and beyond to ensure my family was satisfied.

My family has had a rough 2020 so we decided to visit our favorite place to getaway. This property allows you escape reality just for a moment. Which is what we needed. The entire staff is amazing!!!!

Very clean rooms. Very friendly and warm staff! All staff followed Covid precautions, masks and social distancing. Our room was quiet and staff provided any information and extra amenities we needed. Even an exercise mat since the gym was closed due to Covid.We enjoyed our stay very much!

We would stay here again. The property was super clean and within walking distance of the beach. The room was great with a huge TV and dual sinks. The property is pet friendly. No hot breakfast, but they did have a To-Go bag for us. They practice safe COVID-19 protocols. The bed was comfy.

We stayed here for 4 nights while on golf trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful (especially Kathy, who helped us with our reservation over the phone and another employee at check-in who gave us recommendations for dining out). The hotel is laid out more like a 2-story condo complex than a hotel/motel. The lobby, the grounds and our room were nicely decorated and furnished. We really enjoyed staying on the 2nd floor (stairs only) because there was no noise from adjacent rooms or from above (upper room was not attached on either side). Due to coronavirus, the breakfast was a to-go bag, which was adequate. We were disappointed that the pool and jacuzzi were closed, also due to the pandemic. Our room was close to the main building and the internet signal was very good. The main reason for 4 versus 5 stars is because the hotel is about 3 miles from downtown Bandon in a mostly residential area. It would be nice if it was closer to restaurants and shopping.

Very nice place, the staff was over the top, even going so far as to email us the paint type, color and formula so we could use it in our own remodle. This property has its own access to the beach and the covid breackfast was quite nice with fleability that allowed us to have lower carb option.

This was our second stay at this hotel and if we're back in the area we'll stay here again. It's a very nice hotel, comfortable rooms, nice landscaping, very friendly employees. Due to COVID-19 they weren't having their normal hot breakfast but the grab and go breakfast was very good.

This is a wonderful place to stay at the beach. Across the street from a beautiful stretch of Bandon's finest beach, access from the hotel is quick and easy. The room we had was on the ground floor and very well maintained. Modern and stylish, we were comfortable in the beautifully landscaped setting. The mattress was practically new and sleep was peaceful in the quiet surroundings.

The hotel was very nice! We had a partial view of the ocean and a private balcony. The staff were helpful! The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, but overall the BW was nice. We would consider staying again.

Came for a break from Eugene in the time of Covid. Everything was great but we had planned on eating in the room and couldn't because everything had been removed because of the virus. Other than that we had a great stay.

this best Western is not located on the beach. It is across the street. Pool and hot tub are not open. Breakfast is in a bag. Bandon is too pretentious and restaurants all closed early. After traveling on the road all day this hotel was a disappointment

Nice hotel on Brandon's Beach Loop especially if you are traveling with your dog. The rooms are nicely set up with a wonderful dog park in the back as you open up your front door! And the beach access is very nice, not a lot of stairs like many of the other hotels. I will definitely be staying here again.

Everything was great with a few exceptions. Our room, while great, had a kitchenette but no utensils and no dishes. And treacherous stairs. We we're not informed of the stairs. Wheelchairs or walkers, you will not be able to get to your room if it is down the stairs.

We stayed the BW Inn at Face Rock for 2 nights. It is located on the beautiful Beach Loop, just south of Old Town Bandon. Across the street from the beach but there is a marked path to the beach. The path has crushed rock and easy to walk (until you get to the wonderful soft sand!). It is a short drive, along the loop, to old town for shopping & dining. Check-in was easy & all precautions were taken. I could have pre-registered via an email link, but I forgot to check my emails. The property is very nice, 2 stories. We stayed in Room 124, bottom floor. Not much of a view but all the rooms have a nice little patio or balcony on the 2nd floor. We were close to office & short walk to breakfast. The rooms have a microwave & small fridge. Always a pleasant amenity. We noticed the rooms a bit noisy (could hear water running from adjoining room), we also had noisy upstairs neighbors, one night. Breakfast was offered, but because of Covid, it was grab & go. There was a nice selection though. All bags started with fruit bowl, granola bar & muffin. Then you could have oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, a couple of juices, coffee & hot chocolate. Unfortunately the indoor pool & jacuzzi was closed but it looked nice. We would stay here again.

I traveled the coast and 1-5 Corridor of Oregon, and tried to stay as much as possible in Best Western Hotels. This was one of the most memorable stats. Bandon is a lovely Town with so many shops and restaurants to visit. Great staff and grab and go breakfast.

Although this hotel is across the road from the beach, with limited views of the ocean, it has a private and easy access to the beach. The beach in this location was great - few people, amazing rock formations and miles of beach to walk. The hotel was perfectly fine - nothing fancy, but then I didn't expect that. But beds were quite comfortable, protective sheets on both sides of the blanket, pillows good, towels plenty fluffy, coffee in room, microwave and small refrigerator. The internet wasn't super fast, but was reliable and worked for Zoom meetings. Their Covid precautions seemed quite good, including how they handled breakfast. We would definitely return to this location.

Great location near to Face Rock. You can walk it. Hotel is not on ocean front but close to it. The rooms are clean with ample of parking. They have a laundry room. Close town but still need car to access restaurant and shops. Service is friendly.

When you stay at the beach sometimes you end up at a hotel which has seen better days, and because of rough guests and neglectful maintenance by the management you end up walking on carpet that crunches (for example) or with furniture that has been scuffed and broken. Fortunately this was not that type of place. The room was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-appointed and spacious. There were plenty of lights, lots of bathroom counter space, a huge TV, and a handy area to hang up your clothes. The hotel has beach access via a short walkway, and it was a nice long beach for walking. We were probably a little over a mile from the main old town area, which has a lot of restaurants and shops. Coastal Mist (I think that was the name) was a great combination of Parisian pastry shop, tea place and chocolate shop. Everything we got there was delicious. Cranberry Sweets is another fun (and tasty) place to visit. And lastly, the Wheelhouse was a great dinner place.

First let me say, we love this property and have stayed many times. Last time my husband and I decided to upgrade and stay in an ocean facing king spa suite. It was actually disappointing. The furniture in the living room area is stiff and uncomfortable, there is an oven which is a strange addition and mentioned nowhere, so it would have been nice to know that coming in. None the less, we wouldn't have needed it except maybe to boil water. There are two bathrooms with shower tub combos in each, and a spa tub in the living room. This was strange to me. Although it was nice having our own bathrooms each had very little counter space and were very small. The lighting in the bedroom is non existing, so if you need light you won't find it there. There was one window in our bedroom that was right next the stairwell for other guests to walk down to the beach, this is the only opportunity for air or natural light in this room. Worst of all, the suite was dirty. The sliding glass door and windows were dirty from previous guests, the spa tub had not been cleaned. I didn't see any indication, at all that any surface had been sanitized. We have stayed many times before at this property so this was the biggest surprise of all to me.

We loved our stay at the Best Western Hotel...rooms very clean and the staff friendly....and it wasn't far away from the beach...it was a very short walking distance....we will difinitly come back here to this hotel.....( Pool, Spa, Restaurant were closed cuz of the COVID-19, its understandable )

We have stayed at this hotel before, actually in the same suite as we did before. Due to Covid19 of course things are different. They have removed all the dishes and cooking supplies from the kitchen as they were reducing touch points, but didn't let us know prior to arrival. we had brought all of our food with us to so we could continue to isolate while on vacation. we had to make a trip to the store to buy the pans and such to cook our own food. The housekeeping has gone way downhill since our previous stay, there were cob webs in every corner with dead bugs trapped in them, and bits of food on the carpet when we arrived. During our stay there was no housekeeping and we had to go to the office to get clean towels, coffee, and paper plates, that really wasn't a big deal as it was nice to have the privacy. Breakfast was grab and go, but they did a good job with that. All in all if we had been notified about the lack of kitchen supplies and the housekeeping had more attention to detail, we would return, but I think we will look for other accommodations next time we are in Bandon

Well the cost was high, but for the family worth it to me. But the room was hair bitten, the guest next door fought all night, called management and they did nothing, thank goodness my kids slept through the horrible domestic scene that went on all night. Woke up to clothes thrown in the hallway. Then the room is like you are in a wind tunnel if the other rooms use the water it's so loud you can not sleep! I was going crazy on whey it took a hour for the person below us to take a shower, then I took one and found out. The water doesn't drain so it fills up in the tub. So you have to wash stop wash stop wash stop.. Then they didn't even get us chairs for the balcony, I know doesn't sound like much but everyone had them but us and made me feel bad, I felt like they put the couple with the kids in the fair back and didn't care. But they sure cared about the big price. Room 722

just a quick stop thru bandon, loved the location and easy beach access. staff was friendly. they did an amazing job being covid compliant and i felt safe and that everything was clean. thank you!!!!!

Our first stay at the BW Face Rock had a lot of disappointments. Our room wasn't ready at 3:45 so because check in was not until 4, we kept ourselves busy until almost 4:30 and called again but was told it still was not ready and did not know how much longer it would be! At that point, we went someplace for an early dinner and called at 5 and was told there was an issue with the room but I could have my second choice room instead. When we came back to the hotel, I was told my original room had a water leak but guaranteed me that it was fixed so we checked in. At that point, we were so tired after driving 4 hours that we realized that there was a leak under the faucet which leaked onto the counter so we wrapped towels around it but couldn't put our things there or they would get wet! I was very upset to have been told all was well with the room and it wasn't! Also, we were told all the rooms were redecorated recently but we found the room to be very basic, some parts of the bathroom had mold, not to mention mold on the curtain covering the door. Very disappointing! Because of the pandemic the breakfast was understandably unexciting unless you like packages of cereal, packaged muffins, granola bars, chocolate chip cookies, juice, milk, yogurt, fruit cups, and coffee. You need to go to the lobby for this breakfast and a nice man puts your selection in sacks. Not contactless but there was plexiglass and 6 foot markings so you felt somewhat safe. The reason I did give the hotel 3 stars was because we had a ground floor with no one above us so it was very quiet and parking was right in front of our room. Also, my dog loved all the grass around the property to run around on! Wonderful place for dogs in that respect. Location of the hotel on Beach Loop made it easy to get to the sites we wanted to see. We might return if the prices are kept down otherwise, we may look elsewhere.

This appears to be an older hotel but it has its own walking path to the beach and the units are very comfortable. The rate was very good for the time of year and the location. The rooms are separately accessed outside so very safe during this pandemic. You don't need to go near any other guests unless you get breakfast. they do have a breakfast area set up where you stand away from guests and they hand you prepackaged bags.

This is always my return-to spot when traveling the Oregon Coast on a motorcycle. Walking distance to a good restaurant and walking distance to the glorious "Face Rock." What more could one ask for???

We stayed here for four nights because we wanted to check out Bandon. The room was newly refurbished in tasteful colors with practical furnishings. My only complaint has to do with Covid 19 restrictions. The breakfast was inadequate as were the breakfasts in the two other hotels where we stayed on this trip. I think that it would be better to just not serve breakfast and reduce the price somewhat. We were given new towels when we asked for them, and the maids were good about it. But some of the people at the desk acted as though they were doing us a favor. The towels should have been delivered automatically.And they never once cleaned our room during our stay, something which should be required because of the virus. They would do it, but we had to give them a three hour window during which we would not be allowed to enter the room at all. It seems to me that this establishment along with many others is taking advantage of the pandemic situation.

Very large, nicely appointed room with a great straight on ocean view. Nice trail to the beach which goes for miles. In addition to the regular stuff the room had a duraflame log burning fire place, a small kitchenette with microwave, sink and fridge. The living area had a large couch, two large easy chairs and a table with lots of room to move around. The bedroom was large with a king bed and plenty of room. And it had two bathrooms. What a surprise. It sure made getting ready nice for my wife and I. Loved the place. Bandon has always been special for us.

Best Western inn at Face Rock has some spectacular viewing...love Bandon and weather was perfect. The staff is wonderful, nice clean rooms, wonderful shower and patio or balcony that had it's own door that locked. The beds are very comfy and the grounds are beautiful and clean. The Front Desk staff was very helpful in offering directions to points of interest. We had a relaxing time at this Best Western property and enjoyed Bandon. We'd come back, here for sure.

We had a very nice stay at the Inn at face rock. Excellent rooms, looks like the rooms were recently updated, very clean and modern facilities. The Inn is a little ways from downtown, but not inconvenient at all.

We had a great stay, staff at the front desk was great. The grab and go breakfast was okay but as to be expected. I would have given 4 stars, however we were in a room on the bottom floor and any time the people walked across the floor we would here the typical foot steps but on top of that the floor creaked and squeaked to loud. Sadly we were woken up extremely early because of this and didn't get the rest we had hoped for. The location is pretty good, across the street from a path to the beach. The beach was very nice.

I guess because of the Virus they were agressive with the disinfectant as the room was overwelming with a gross chemical smell. i am very sensitive to strong chemical odors and got a instant headache from being in the room. Room was in an area where they put people with dogs and small screaming children so it was non stop noise until after midnight especially from room above me. I cancelled my 2nd night and left early in the am feeling totally exhausted. The hotel did refund my money that I paid for the 2nd night which I appreciate.

We were traveling down the coast, without a reservation, and this hotel had a room available late in the evening. The room, 220, was perfect for us-2 queen beds-and was fairly spacious and immaculate. My husband had a number of business calls to make, and I enjoyed our 2nd floor window and balcony partial view of the beach. Because everything is still under COVID-19 rules, breakfast was a selection of prepackaged continental style items we could select from, And that worked fine. The only reason I checked 4 stars is that some may find it sort of simple, and an outlet wouldn't hold a plug, but that's nitpicky. I would definitely stay here again, and ask for this room.

Such a great Value for traveling with my family and a puppy. Very clean and such a great property. Very wonderfully manicured grounds and a great space for doggies to run and have a blast, right outside our back door.

Bad lighting, Areas of ashes on the hearth and bathroom no counter space in the kitchen and a small refrigerator. I expected the a bigger one for a suite, I didn't like that there was not a screen door for the sliding door.

We appreciated the feel of the property, the warm welcome and friendly feel of the staff and the peaceful feel of our room. Wonderful experience! We plan to come again and bring our children and Grandchildren.

Stayed here last Fall. The room was old, not cleaned, stunk and had visible mold on the back of the drapes. The carpeting was extremely old, very worn and black filthy. When I complained to front desk they said they had nothing else they could move us to - - - even though it was only 4PM and most travelers had not yet arrived. I regret not calling the health department and having them come see what type of health hazard room Best Western at Face Rock was putting people into. The general manager's response to complaint postings is that they are remodeling their rooms. Great! But that doesn't help someone who's had to endure a stinky, moldy and disgustingly filthy room that should have been shut down until it was remodeled. We had to risk safety for fresh air by keeping the windows open all night (on a ground level room) in an attempt to lower the stink of room. My belief is there are many rooms that do not match the description of this room but how can you feel secure that they won't put you into one of their health hazardous rooms when you arrive?

Don't bother with Coos Bay hotels or any other hotel. This place has everything you need, and the beds in our pet-friendly room were amazingly comfortable. Good linens, no bad smells, and everything was very clean. The beach is right across the street, dining is a short drive away, the staff is amazing and even the breakfast was delish. I'll be back for sure.

Our first stay here was because we were house hunting and the hotel was near the neighborhood. If you can get the suites with ocean views you should! Our room (201) was a king suite with a jacuzzi... highly recommend! Very affordable rates, at least in the off season, for any of the rooms including suites with ocean views. Parking is ample, staff is friendly and polite, great walk to the beach and an overall very nice small town vibe. They offer free breakfast and coffee is good. Our second stay here was just a great and we had a different room, and while no ocean view it was a nice room. It's close to the downtown and overall hotel is pretty quiet. It's a newer hotel so not a lot of problems with decor or maintenance. I would highly recommend this place and I know I will stay here again.

Everything was great a good room and hot breakfast in the morning. We did find a bag of rotting garbage in our room and brought it to the front desk attention and they seemed like it happens so check the room for cleanliness, its probably not clean.

This is a high quality hotel at a reasonable price. I never thought our king suite would be as nice as it was and the view of the ocean was nice. I seen that people in reviews said there was not much of a ocean view and that is no true as we got to see a nice sunset and a sunrise with a ocean view.

The lady work in was super sweet and helpful. BUT I was unable to park anywhere close to my room. Traveling with kids this is a must to me and the Wi-Fi wasn't strong enough to make it to my room so had to go without and for 175 a night I should at least have Wi-Fi since its stated I would but other than that rooms were clean and nice honestly don't think I'll go back to that one unfortunately

Let's be honest..this is a Best Western, not a Hitlon. That being said it's very nice and the suites are very comfortable. A nice aspect is they have pet friendly rooms away from everyone else for both your and your doggo's comfort.

We came in an off peak season and truly enjoyed the stay. Everyone we talked to that worked to BW was extremely pleasant to talk to. We used the beach access trail in the morning to take a morning walk on the long sandy beach. Truly enjoyed our stay.

what a wonderful place this day our room was completely brand new I don't even think anyone had slept in the bed yet I wanted to steal the mattress and take it home staff was amazing property is gorgeous

The hotel is located a few minutes from the beach. It is an easy walk out to the shore. Because it is along the beach, there is no traffic noise - only the sound of the waves! The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. They really did a great job making sure the guests had what they needed. Check-in (Jenny) provided a great restaurant recommendation and was excited talking about the town of Bandon and the shops in the Old Town. The hotel is being renovataed and the room we stayed in was really beautiful. The decor was a kind of beach-mode/color scheme and was quite lovely. There is a huge lawn area so in the summer it would be a great area for kids to play. At breakfast, the host (Kelly)did a great job keeping the food availble and the area clean and tidy. Kelly was friendly and made sure the guests had what they needed/wanted. Overall, we had a great stay at the hotel and will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Everything was great. Check in and checkout went great...the breakfast was ok...lots of choices and nice to have available. The room was clean and the location was extremely handy for the dogs.We plan to come there when we come back to Bandon...we have stayed there before. We might even come back in a couple weeks because we heard about a guy that does large sand art/mazes and he may be there on the 6th

Fairly new building, we had a room that had been updated. Ocean is close could not see from room. Clean and staff was extremely helpful with suggestions on eating locations, directions, and parking. Would definitely stay again.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed made it so I was able to sleep very sound. I couldn't hear the people next door at all. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. It was raining, so we didn't make it to the beach but the view was gorgeous.

You can bring your pet and the rooms are remodeld they have been and wine for sale in the lobby and a free breakfast that is great, also the price of the room is a very good deal for the quality of service I've paid a lot more for less

Clean updated rooms. Pet friendly accomodations inside and out. Staff was great and the excellent pool and breakfast were better than expected. Short walk to a wonderful beach down what appears to be a somewhat private trail.

We stayed in a suite & it was a little slice of heaven! Great access to the beach, a totally fun swimming pool & my daughter wants you to know we had TWO tv's! Our stay was incredible because of the people that work here. They are all so kind & helpful! Thank you!

Great location with an easily walkable path to the beach. The breakfast host during our stay was so friendly with all guests, he was quick to share a story or ask about our stay. The rooms are newly remodeled with nice furnishings and the beds were comfortable. We had a lower floor room so the only downside was the noise from our upstairs neighbors early in the morning and the banging of their suitcases as they brought them down the stairs. The highlight of our stay was the warm pool! Our kids had so much fun swimming in the pool for hours each day. So often hotel pools are chilly and this was perfect. We would come back just for the pool! Overall, we had a great stay and highly recommend the Inn at Face Rock especially for families.

I've never had the overwhelming urge to tell everyone I know about the phenomenal staff and accommodations the second I checked into a hotel before, but cannot possibly speak highly enough of the team here. Larry, Eileen and Liz at the front office, and especially Liz who's the head of housekeeping, went so far above and beyond that we'll never forget the impact that they had on our visit to Bandon. We can't wait to return and bring our friends and family.

We would stay here again. It would have been great had the rain been a bit less. We used the pool and did enjoy the room we had. The location is away from the husstle and bustle. The one thing that was not psitive is the sound of the families and children passing our door in the evening and the upstairs guests. That wouldnot keepus away, though.

Bandon is the half way point to grandma's house for Christmas. Since we travel with our dogs, Best Western at Face Rock is our favorite place to stay. Its nicely located across from the beach allowing for frequent walks. The rooms are clean, laundry facilities available, an above average breakfast and friendly staff.

As usual everything was great. We stay here once a year with our adult daughter and her dog as well as friends. We have always had great service. The pool and the hot tub were clean. The free breakfast was delicious. Friendly helpful staff. Love staying here.

I had extended business stay at the BW Inn at Face Rock and got to know the staff pretty well. Any minor challenge was handled quickly and professionally by the BW team. I was at this facility for over 100 nights.

Our suite was spotless and comfortable. Perfect layout for family of 4 with a 2- and 4-year-old. Two bathrooms! Separate master bedroom with a door was a pleasant surprise. We put the kids in there at bedtime and could sit in the living room watching TV without disturbing them. Good blackout curtains. We didn't use it but liked that there was an oven. Toiletries had a subtle coconut smell which my husband loved, reminded him of Hawaii. The deck had an enclosed area with a couple folding chairs you could take to the beach. Private beach access across the street from the hotel was convenient. Beach was a few minutes walk and easy to do with little ones. The beach is wide with soft sand and driftwood to sit on. Breakfast buffet was terrific! Hot and cold items, healthy and indulgent--we were pleased. Pool is heated to 86 degrees and is amazing! The entire family enjoyed swimming in the pool! During a 2-week road trip staying at several hotels, this was the warmest pool.

Nice place to stay near the beach. This is a cute little cottage-type hotel stay near the beach. This hotel offers a nice private walkway to the beach. It's very sweet. I wish we weren't just passing through and the weather was warmer; it would have been a much nicer beach visit for us. This is a nice vacation spot!!

Great hotel in an amazing location. The park nearby, Face Rock is very beautiful. All the staff were kind and attentive. We love to visit this area and this resort in particular at least twice a year. Great!

Everything was wonderful! Clean, spacious, comfy room accommodated my family of four! Hearty breakfast served before a walk on the beach via the private lane. Such a peaceful location! Staff was very friendly and we felt quite at home!

This is a very quiet and lovely BW located across the road from the beach. There is a trail to the beach after crossing the quiet country road. The staff are friendly, rooms cozy and while we didn't use the pool it did look inviting. The staff were very helpful suggesting places to eat in downtown Bandon. Our room was nicely appointed. Others were being remodeled during our stay.

Went with my daughter while she was in Bandon on business. On upper level and no elevator so if you have any physical issues this would not be the place unless they can guarantee the room on street level. It really does not have a view of the ocean except for the suits that I believe has a partial view. Across the road from the Ocean and private beach entrance. A little bit of work but the view was fantastic and I walked on the beach everyday. Really beautiful! The rooms were a little worn but very clean and they did have mini fridge and microwave. The TV was updated and the beds and bedding were great and seemed to have been updated. We did have a small deck outside each room. The grounds were beautifully maintained. Staff friendly. I think this is a price friendly place to stay. I thought the breakfast had lots of choices whether you were watching your calories or wanted an old fashion breakfast.

We were not going to stay in Bandon originally but loved the look of the little town and decided to stop. The hotel was fantastic, staff was incredible, we got a room with a fireplace that was awesome.

A great place for business or pleasure. The view of Facerock is beautiful. We look forward to coming here several times a year. The campus is very well maintained and the staff is so helpful. Everyone in our group had such a great night.

Love this place!!! Great location even though it's across the street from ocean beach. Easy access. Great breakfast options and an indoor pool that's open year round. So great when the coast is rainy!!!

We stayed one night at this hotel. It is only 2 stories, no elevator. The room was on the small side but was clean and also had a microwave and mini fridge. The pool is indoors which was nice. The hotel is average but the breakfast that was included exceeded our expectations. The dining area was clean and the workers were very helpful and friendly. There was a large variety of breakfast items, hot and cold and were all very fresh and well cooked.

Hotel is situated off the beaten track from town but not far enough to worry about. The beach access is private and really convenient. Hotel is extremely well maintained outside and sits on 8 acres. Perfect for people travelling with pets! A bit pricey for Canadians because of the dollar. We would definately recommend this property.

I would give this place 10 stars! Beautiful clean rooms, very friendly staff, big delicious Continental breakfast, good prices. Minutes walk to ocean and minutes from face rock! It's pet friendly! Just a 2 miles from downtown Bandon! I stayed here last year also, I love this place! My face rock pics below!

I love this location. It has private beach access and beautiful views. Great restaurants up the road in the beach town of Bandon. A fun place to stay and enjoy the beautiful Oregon coast. One of my favorite locations to stay.

We had a king room on first floor. Room was clean but a bit warm. They did provide a tower fan and that helped a bit. We were grateful for the large laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers so that we could take care of all our laundry needs at the same time after being on the road for a week. The beach access was convenient and allowed us the opportunity to walk into the waters of the Pacific, even if it was just for a few seconds.

uncaring checkin they made us wait in parking lot until 3pm checkin that was two hours. The sack breakfast was not acceptable nice they offered but the yougart option sucked, bottle water what about juice....

We went down the coast on our anniversary. On our second leg we stopped in Bandon, OR and looked for a place to stay. The Best Western was clean and welcoming from the outside, the staff was very helpful, the room was clean & comfortable and the breakfast was ecveptional.

Stayed here on July 5th and it was not available for reward points according to the National BW customer service. I called the front desk and they did book me a suite at maximum price since it was a holiday weekend. Thought it was odd that you could book directly and pay cash but not using the rewards points which required the customer service 1-888 # So here is what we found at the hotel. Check in was reasonable and the girl at the counter was friendly. The location was convenient near Bandon. Ocean view was nothing to brag about although it was touted as the best in the complex with upstairs accommodations, a fireplace, and a jacuzzi tub. Hence the high price and I wanted it to be a romantic evening with my gal! I opened a nice bottle of wine and started the stove top to cook her a nice dinner something in the stove or ventilation systems reeked of pot! Maybe it was connected to the tenants below I don't know but neither of us smoke weed and we can't stand the smell! We ate with the stench still in the room and after dinner she laid down on the sofa nauseated while I cleaned up the dishes. Now I don't mind other people smoking as long as they are respectful of others but this should not be tolerated in a public place like a nice hotel who charges top dollar seasonally along the coast. Yes I've tried it myself when I was a young teenager during the 60's and 70's so have seen the pot revolution before but it is not the answer to everyones problems! Best Western can do better!

Felt like you get what you pay for here. Stayed Thursday night. Best thing was all staff we interacted with or observed were super friendly. Breakfast was above average. Only little complaint was the room was a little lighter than we prefer even with shades pulled closed. Grounds are well kept. Rooms looked & felt very nice. Easy access to beach. Tip: Call hotel when making a reservation with a dog to make sure it really is a pet room.

This was our second visit to the Inn at Face Rock Best Western. we stayed three nights both times. The hotel is beautifully maintained. The gardens are lovely and there is a private walk to the beach. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and helpful from the front desk, the housekeeping staff, and the breakfast. We had a lovely time, and look forward to visiting again! Our suite was really lovely with a view of the ocean from our balcony.

This Best Western property looks like a resort;. Located, in a new section of Bandon, it is clean and nicely maintained with easy parking .The staff is accommodating and efficient. Our stop here in the small town of Bandon was a refreshing one, and we would not hesitate about staying here again.

We checked in and our room really smelled bad. The morning that we checked out, we noticed mold all over the curtains. The hotel offers no A/C and just has a small fan. The breakfast was the absolute worst. Watery eggs with no cheese and the worst sausage ever. The funny part is that they call the cook a chef. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach. The location is in a pretty nice place. The fitness center is small and impossible to work out in because it had to be 85 degrees in the room. We paid $200 for a moldy room with a terrible breakfast. I travel a lot and I would say that this was hands down the worst hot breakfast I have ever tried. The beds were comfortable and they did try to update the old rooms. I will never stay at this location in the future.

We came at 3:20 PM to check in, but the room wasn't ready. We had no cause to complain because check in is at 4:00 PM and Check Out was at 11:00 AM. Why, for close to a $200 / night room, do they need five hours of prep time?? There was a lovely gazebo with a picnic table in it on the lawn, but we were told that we were not allowed to walk on the grass, and there were no walkways to the gazebo that didn't involve walking on the lawn, so it was just decorative, a tease. There was precisely one public room with a view of the ocean and large panoramic windows, but it is used as a storage and staff dining room. It contained stacks of old mattresses and had electrical outlets that were disassembled and had wires with wire nuts sticking out of them. At least it wasn't locked. To be fair, the free hot breakfast was one of the best that I have ever had, with many great well prepared choices and attentive staff, and the coffee wasn't just acceptable, it was good, and that also was true for the complimentary coffee in the lobby (surprising!) The front desk staff did try to be friendly and helpful while telling us we couldn't walk on the grass. (But for the excellent breakfast and coffee, I would have given one star. It is hard to have a leisurely visit when you have to wait to get into your room, and hurry up and get out in the morning. It's great for management, not for customers.)

Biggest concern was lack of ventilation. It was August and pretty warm, there is no AC in the room, just a single tower fan like you would see in a dorm. A very stuffy night. Also very noisy, it sounded as if the children upstairs were jumping up and down. Not what was expected in a Best Western.

Awesome upper room away from the street, wood floors, double Queen room with balcony & easy walk to beach. Very friendly & helpful staff. Delighted to be here on the balcony listening to the breaking surf.

We loved this hotel. There is easy beach access to a beautiful and pretty private beach that is easy to walk on and the dogs could run free. There is a path through an old golf course that is really pleasant to walk on and is beautiful. The hotel is really nice, good hot tub and pool. The staff is top notch.

Everything was great. Clean room, clean bedding, quiet, nice big clock between beds. The beach was not visible, but not necessary either. Beach access to Face Rock was a very short drive down the road. We'd stay there again.

We have stayed here on several occasions due to it's location and proximity to the beach (walking distance). This trip however, the room was NOT clean. Found dog toy (from previous guests - ew) under the bed and several pretzels behind one of the beds. Had to move the end table (to get my toddler's toy) and found huge amounts of dust bunnies/fur/lint. Furniture needs to be moved and cleaned behind, especially in rooms that allow pets and/or have hardwood floors.

This hotel is not on the beach and really does not have a view of the ocean. property is quiet and the access to the beach is a short walk and almost level. Lots of sand so handicap a little slow to get there but of all the beaches we visited this was the best.

My wife & I had a GREAT stay at this property. For several reason most of which were attached to our having & using our Best Western frequent user points. If you don't have a BW Card get on today. Now back to my story we needed an overnight stay in Bandon after a hectic week, but did not have the funds available. I turned my points into Gift Cards,, used $20.00 worth of summer bookings bonuses, & then were able to get an upgrade to a suite on top of all those other perks. If you want a very nice stay on the Oregon coast over looking the beach & ocean. ask for room 204-A, you won't be disappointed, even though the asking price is a little steep for an old retired pastor like me..

Great Beach Access. Not too crowded. My rating includes all I need to say. But for some reason two hundred characters are required. So I must add all this filler to satisfy the requirement. BREVITY IS THE SOUL OF WIT. Unfortunately Trip Adviser regulators want excessive wordiness.

The Best Western at Bandon was great! Clean suite ... warm hot tub ... great breakfast ... what more could you ask for? We will definitely be staying at this place again when we travel the Southern Oregon coast!

Upon opening the door to our room we were overpowered by the terrible musty smell and amazed at the apparent age and deplorable condition of the carpeting. Upon a closer look we discovered the odor was from the mold on the back of the blackout drapes, the mold on the sheer drapes and, I'm sure, the disgustingly horribly stained old carpeting. I went back to the front desk and requested to be put into a different room. I was told all rooms were filled (everyone had arrived by 5PM???) and they could not move us. Surely not all their rooms are this disgusting, however, when a unit is this bad and presents potential health issues to guests, shut it down!! Do not rent it out until it has been renovated and is safe for guests to occupy. We paid over $200 to stay in a stinky and disgusting room. Many reviewers say the breakfast is good but we didn't try it as we felt if Best Western would rent out a room this deplorable then what might their kitchen and food service hygiene be like. Please, General Manager John M., don't respond with your customary comment that rooms will be updated this winter. That does NOTHING to help with the unhealthy conditions you are currently submitting guests to. Again, shut down the rooms that are this disgusting and take the monitory hit until you get those rooms up to par.

Marvelous resort. Beach access. Pool delicious breakfast including large log sausages, not just sausage patties. Eggs very light and fluffy. Bed was superior. Pool is wet. Ice is cold. Would consider a longer stay at this property.

Great experience and would absolutely stay at this hotel again. Very clean, friendly staff and just a well maintained hotel. Has beach access with a wonderful beach to walk on. Grounds of the hotel are well maintained and price for room was reasonable. A+ stay.

This hotel is very overpriced for what you get. Driving in I almost didn't recognize that it is a Best Western. The layout looks like an apartment complex. Plenty of parking but not necessarily close to your room. Instead of parking away from their room, someone double parked behind us the first night we were there. The stairs are pretty narrow leading to the upstairs rooms. First thing I noticed upon entering the room is the musty smell. Second thing was how warm the room was. No air conditioning, which I'm sure works well 90% of the year but the southern Oregon coast can get warm in the summer months and our room was 80 degrees when we arrived. They provide a fan but it didn't do much to cool the room down. The room looked like someone just did the bare minimum with cleaning. Old spiderwebs all around the ceiling. Carpet had definitely seen better days. Breakfast is good here. Nice variety of food (eggs, pancakes, waffles, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, sausage, hot and cold cereal, yogurts, fruit). I liked the town of Bandon and it sounds like they are remodeling, hopefully things improve after the remodel.

Breakfast was the best thing about our stay here. Pool was good....other then that its a hard pass on this one. Beds need a refresh, decor was dated...carpet needs updating. Roll away cot was from another era. Staff was friendly.

Took a road trip to celebrate our 47 anniversary. Drove down Oregon to the California border and then back up the coast. The Best Western Inn at Face Rock in Bandon, Or. was the high point of our trip! Wonderful setting by the beach, beautiful grounds, friendly staff (and that includes the housekeepers), with beautiful rooms and facilities! Add to that a private access to the beach and it was just perfect!

We had 2 rooms, The staff accomidated us with rooms in two building next to each other because we only needed one pet friendly room. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, pool and beach path as well as the beach. Friendly staff Would stay there again.

We were willing to spend 700.00+ for a 3 day coast get away, knowing the pet fee contributes to the cost, but we left after the first night. The room was nothing special and it was hot, without any way to ventilate. If it were not for the fan blowing, we would have been very uncomfortable. The front desk staff was very nice but there was nothing they could do about the people upstairs who walked HEAVILY from end to end of their room from 11 to 1am. Overpriced, no ocean view, no way to have windows and/or curtains open without neighbors walking by constantly. We went to Gold Beach and got a room with ocean view (and sounds) with beach access right out the front door for 134.00.

We had a king suite #201 and it had a fantastic view of the beach. I wish there was a restaurant on site, but the food options were only 5-10 minutes away. My son loved the pool. The kitchenette was great. We did not use the jacuzzi tub I the living room, but it looked nice. The only negative was the sheets in the bedroom; they were scratchy and not smooth to the skin.

First time staying here. I choose it for chain name, because we like most Best Westerns. I new it would not be overlooking the ocean. But across the street. Our room was on the back side over looking the pool area. The reason I gave it 2 stars was the room was very outdated. Was surprised when I walked in. Carpet was icky, furniture old....just not a $200.00 a night room at all! Dark also & small. Breakfast was good & staff was nice, very quite. Just not my cup tea. We travel to the Portland area from Mendocino county to visit family often and always plan our return trip down the beautiful Oregon coast. We usually plan our overnight in the cool little town of Bandon. It has a neat old town with shops, eateries, and a killer candy shop. We always stay at the Best Western Plus at Face Rock and have never been disappointed. The setting is beautiful, just across the road from the beach. The property is up to date, the staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious.

Excellent front desk staff, made sure we got the very best price possible. Location was great. We were traveling by motorcycle and were tired, hotel was easy to access and rooms very clean. Guest laundry was clean & priced right.

The only thing good about this place was the breakfast. The room was musty smelling bad. And the room and shower werent even cleaned. Doors hardly shut as well. Quick wall to the beach was nice . But would not stay here again.

My wife and I are regular visitors to Bandon; we even got engaged on the beach here. Until now, we've utilized vacation rentals along Beach Loop for our stays. This is the first time we heard of and used the Best Western in Bandon. It is by far our favorite spot, and we plan to return soon! For a couple wanting to get away, the suites are a great value with a great view, easy access to the beach and to town, and a beautiful, relaxed environment. Vacation rentals may provide a modest amount of solitude, but with the size of the town, the suites here feel just the same to us, if not better!

We had a wonderful experience. Normally I would rate this 4 star but I gave it a 5 star because the grounds, location, room setup and the staff really make it shine. Traveling with a family of 5 we had 2 side by side rooms. They do need updating but it clearly says that they are remodeling. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. I'm fairly picky but I would stay here again in a heart beat. The walk down to the uncrowded beach is not difficult and the beach is stunning. Every evening the children were down there, with parents of course, having a marvelous time, and then came back for a dip in the pool. The staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. The grounds were beautifully maintained. Our family loved it!

The hotel is set up like an apartment complex instead of a hotel. The facility is very old. Our room was musty with worn carpet and no air-conditioning. However, it was clean. The breakfast offering had lots of variety and everything was tasty.

Our suite was exactly what we were hoping for with a view of the ocean, a fireplace and easy beach access. The staff was very friendly and made excellent restaurant suggestions. We were a short distance from wonderful beach sites and view points. The buffet was ample with options for children and adults. I'd gladly go back for an extended stay.

We were so delighted to arrive at this Best Western. It is laid out in a pattern that offers every room access to lawn, and some have an ocean view. There is a short path to a private beach!! Very welcoming. Very dog friendly. I will look forward to coming back here next time.

The Inn at Face Rock is a well run Best Restaurant in the small town of Bandon, Oregon. The town is picturesque and touresty. The Inn at Face Rock is a little distance from the center of town, but is along Beach Drive which is a very scenic drive. The staff was efficient and friendly on check-in and check-out. The breakfasts were tasty and well-prepared with ample food and staff to keep it coming. The Room was clean and what we expected. There is an easement path to the beach across the street. This is an excellent base for enjoying activities in the area.

We drive cross country with our 2 small dogs about once a year. We always stop off in Bandon on our way home. Always nice to come back to a familiar place. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. We had a room at the back of the property at the end of the building. Very private and quiet! On the end with no one above us. It was great! A front door and a back door out to a huge area to walk our dogs! Very convenient! The grounds are very well kept. We have never been here that it wasn't well manicured!! The hotel is just across the street from the ocean. A beautiful beach to walk on!! It has beautiful rock formations right on the beach. Being from the east coast, this is a real treat! Great hot breakfast! Something for everyone! The staff is wonderful! The lady that checked us in was wonderful. Wish we had asked her name but I guess we were tired. But whoever was there on Monday, June 17 around 4:30'ish? She was so nice and helpful! We will definitely be back to this hotel. We love it and recommend it highly!!

Nice location, staff were excellent. Bandon is amazing. Be sure to check out sand drawings on the beach at low tide at Face Rock State Park. Hotel was a winner, with a warm pool, good breakfast, and great location.

Bandon is amazing. This hotel is amazing. The staff is great. The breakfast is solid. 10/10 for sure! As a veteran, I was given the government rate, which definitely helped the overall wonderfullness of the hotel.

The out side of this hotel is nice and the location is great. This hotel lacks recognition for BW rewards members and I was only offered an upgrade if I paid an upgrade fee, so much for being a diamond select member. The room was small compared to some BW hotels. The carpet looked dirty or worn and needed to be replaced. This hotel was not as clean as most. I will only stay at this hotel when needed.

Rooms were somewhat small but clean and well kept. All had hard-surface floors, which was nice for sandy, wet kids. An easy walk to the beach and the best biscuits and gravy on the coast for breakfast. The pool was good-sized. Both rooms had two doors, which was very nice to increase airflow. Each room also had a fan.

Had a chance to stay in Bandon and decided to stay at the Best Western. In the typical BW style, the room was good sized and very clean,and the bed was very comfortable. Check in/out was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing. Only a few downsides: first, it's not a new hotel and our room could have used a little freshening up. Second, the carpet may have been clean, but it was stained in many places. Doesn't give you a good feeling. Finally, there was really only two open power plugs in the room with no USB ports, making it a little challenging to charge up mobile devices. Breakfast was really good, with a wide variety of options. The coffee was very good too and they kept everything well stocked. All in all, we thought it was a positive experience.

In Bandon, OR, there are several places to stay overnight or for several nights. We've tried several during the past 10 years. For the last seven we have chosen Inn at Face Rock Best Western. So why not stay just across the road for a full on ocean view? People at BW are exceptionally courteous and make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are upgrades in furnishings and maintenance of the property happening constantly. We like Room 124 as our usual spot as it's close to the pool and easy to access. Their suites are also the “cat's pajamas”, the best to offer. Follow the signs on101, and you'll have a peaceful, economical sleep and enjoy as well.

I have stayed here several times and am always happy with the service, state of the rooms and facilitites and how close to the beach it is while away from the higher tourist traffic. I would definitely recommend to stay as couple, family or group and you won't be dissapointed.

It is always great. However we go ripped off by going through the reservation service. NEVER use the Reservation service. Always call the front desk. If you do not you will over pay!!!!! Total rip off. Horrid service. I hope they fix this problem in the future.

Inn at Face Rock is the best place to stay in Bandon. It's located on a quiet street surrounded by over 15 acres of open space with great beach access. The rooms are very private with double sinks, balconies and comfy beds and linens. Fabulous homemade breakfast buffet, pool, hot tub and wonderful staff. Highly recommend.

I always enjoy my stay at the best western inn at face rock. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. This time when I showed up to check in, they offered me a free room upgrade. I said sure and was overwhelmed with the room they upgraded me to! I wish I could've taken that room with me for the rest of my business travels!!

There are lots of choices when considering where to stay but this Best Western was a pleasant surprise and affordable! The rooms are large and the amenities are excellent with a staff that is friendly, welcoming and professional. The breakfast area is in a separate building and the hotel offers a good breakfast with lots of choices. There isn't an elevator to any of the lower rooms (beach side - steep steps only) so if you do not want to deal with steps or need access to rooms without barriers, be sure to make that request known when making reservations. There is plenty to see and do in this area and this hotel offers easy access to everything.

Relax by beautiful Bandon Beach. Very quiet. Nice Veterans discount. Best breakfast we've ever had that was offered by a hotel chain. Eggs did not come prescrambled from a box. Old Town was very quaint with great restaurants.

Our first stay at a Best Western for many years ( 15+ years ). The room was great -- clean, comfortable and modern set in spacious grounds. There are restaurants nearby and the old town is worth exploring. Fit for purpose and would be an ideal stay for families.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. It's a short walk to the beach. Lots of great choices for breakfast (eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, coffee, juice, tea, yogurt, toast, muffins). Pool is actually heated. Staff are great. Love to stay here when we visit Bandon.

The Inn at Face Rock is a very nice place for visiting the Bandon area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is very nice. The rooms are well kept and roomy. The suites are well laid out. My only compaint is the pad on the beds. Are there a lot of bed wetters?

Our experience at this hotel was very positive. The check in and check out were fast and efficient. All of the personnel were friendly and helpful. It was quiet. Beds were comfortable. The room was clean. And there was lots of hot water. The hotel is located across the street from the beach. The beach is accessed via a short trail. And the breakfast was just fine - not fancy, but something for everyone. The reason I am rating this hotel as a 4 is that the sheets were in very bad condition - one bed had a torn and frayed top sheet; the other bed had a torn and pilled bottom sheet. Though the hotel was a great bargain, I would expect better sheets.

The room is updated, however, I am a neat freak and saw that cleanliness could have been better. Nice community pool and hot tub, library, common area for breakfast, easy access across street to beach and close to dining and old town. Good parking also appreciated. Courteous staff. All in all, a good experience.

This place is nice, not wonderful, but nice. Prefer the cottages right on and in the water, but they were not available when we traveled. Too many Best Westerns taking over some hotels that used to be better before they became Best Western.

We went for a weekend getaway. When placing the reservation we asked for a queen suite because it had a fireplace and a kitchenette. The fireplace had absolutely no heat coming from it. It was more for show than anything else. The room was very cold. It never got warm enough for any of us staying there. We were really hoping to enjoy the heat from the fireplace!

Relaxed staff greet you at the check in, and give you directions to your room via the map. The hotel pool and tub are great, and in the main area. There is also a convenient selection of red & white wines for in room enjoyment - great idea! The room was large, quiet, and comfortable -- just a perfect stay. I will stay here again next time I am in Bandon. The breakfast was awesome; great way to start the day!

We booked a last minute weekend getaway during spring break. We selected this motel based on proximity to beach access, and the downtown area, but also because of the included breakfast. Overall, we were not disappointed, and would gladly book this motel for our next stay in Bandon. We stayed in a two queen bed room, upstairs, towards the back of the property. It was an easy walk to get to the main lobby area, and separate eating area. Despite being at the back of the property, you could hear the ocean from the balcony. Despite the fullness of the motel, and the number of kids and animals, it was relatively quiet. The beds were a soft and worn for our preference, and there were no firm pillows available, we also had difficulty getting the heat to run consistently. Note that the shower head is a high fixed swan shape, which only directs water to one area of the shower, which is fine for an adult-sized person, there is room at the front of the tub for a young child to stand out of the water to soap and shampoo. We found the breakfast to be excellent for a "hotel" breakfast. There were 2 waffle stations, scrambled eggs (that actually tasted like eggs), breakfast potatoes, long sausage links, and biscuits and gravy. There was also ample yogurt selection, a few cereal selections, and they had almond milk available. The friendly hosts kept the food well supplied, eating areas clean, and overall were very helpful. There was a chalk board in the dining area which listed the tide table for the day, as well as the names of the hosts, and had information about whale spotting. The breakfast was hearty enough for our family to sustain us through our planned activity until we had an early dinner. Despite the property being full, there always seemed to be just enough table space for people. We appreciated the hand sanitizer available upon entry and exit. The walk to the beach is about a 3-5min walk, be mindful of where you enter the beach so you know how to get back. There's no Best Western sign from the beach side. Areas of our stay that needed improvement: We did not have enough towels in our room upon our late arrival (a set of 3, and we had 4 people). Due to the late hour and minimal staff, we were asked to pick up our additional towels in the morning, which was met with a lot of questions why we needed an additional set of towels. The mini fridge in our room did not work, so the perishable snacks we brought with us spoiled. The fridge was not fixed or replaced during our stay. The pool flooring area was filthy, and obtaining towels for the pool area was also difficult. Our motel toiletries were not replenished despite being used, except a bar of soap. The vending machines did not have bottled water options. Despite these areas in need of improvement, we would choose to stay here again for the location, and full breakfast.

Stayed one night at this hotel. I am usually a big fan of Best Western. This location did not live up to the usual standards. First it was more expensive than other ocean view properties. Second the narrow, small feeling room was not worth the price. Finally the bed was beyond it's useful life. It was soft and more what I have found in a 3 star hotel. On the positive side the staff were friendly and helpful and the hot breakfast was excellent wit more choices than usual. Overall this very plain Jane hotel does not justify a 4 and a half star rating.

The hotel itself is probably the best in Bandon. Had a great room, the breakfast was okay and a nice touch. My only complaint is one staff member. They called while we were driving and we had an awkward conversation. They had overbooked rooms and wanted to see if they could change our room and lower the price. I said we would prefer the larger room we booked with a fireplace. She went on to say it looked like there was only one on the reservation, thought I checked two and that she would try to make the offer to another party. Okay, cool. We check in and my husband used the hotel lobby bathroom, I went to the car. He told me after he came out he heard her commenting on how we were very very very close to not getting our room. Umm what, we reserved a week in advance in when I checked the day before there were still rooms. Sounds like they need to keep better track of their internet sells (we booked directly through the site, not third party). Also I got the sense she was completely annoyed we didn't want a smaller room. Sorry, this was part of a romantic getaway and I wanted a cool room for the short breaks we get from working all the time. I get mistakes are made but the approach was not good. Maybe the other friendly staff should handle the calls about overbooking as their approach to things seems more considerate.

We have loved several stays here, including just last week. Everything is wonderful for families. Proximity to great beaches, perfect temp in the clean pool/hot tub, very substantial hot breakfast, clean rooms, good hot water and pressure, and extra nice staff. The only downfall is the beds/pillows need replaced in a big way. I suspect we may have been dished a more dated “family” room perhaps anticipating rowdy children but ours are not, and we all would have loved a better night's sleep. If the beds were upgraded we would probably find more excuses to come stay!

Though this hotel is not on the beach, there is a private walkway for hotel guests all the way to the beach. It was a great walking beach. The breakfast was pretty standard fare. Only mistake we made was taking a first floor room when we were offered first or second floor. There was a family of four above us and they sounded like a herd of elephants stomping around!

This hotel offered a nice, quiet location close to stores and restaurants in Bandon. Rooms were clean and quiet and the staff was helpful and I particularly appreciate Sean's enthusiasm and information about the area.

I stay here anytime I'm in the area. Probably the best hotel in Bandon. Courteous and helpful office staff, clean rooms with all amenities. A great place to visit on your trip up or down the Oregon Coast. I'll be back.

I booked a room here through our corporate travel dept. It would give me a little bit of a head start being 20 miles south of Coos Bay as I headed south towards Brookings. My accommodation was apartment like. 2 full baths and a single bed with a king bed. There was a small kitchenette, fireplace and balcony. The rooms appeared to have been recently renovated in a tasteful manner. New furnishings, carpets, paint and tile greeted me. There appears to be rudimentary cooking pots and pans but, if you plan on really cooking plan on bringing what you will need. I could see the Pacific through a gap in the trees. Lobby and pool area looked nice and well kept as did the whole property. There were a couple of very minor issues and one larger issue. With 2 full bathrooms, the hot water tank was drained by one bath and the recovery was very slow. This might mean a family will need to schedule showers. The bedroom door didn't latch and and it seemed the 2 electric wall heaters struggled to warm the place during our very chilly March weather.

This is my second stay and they are the friendliest place ever. They are awesome Tessa,Larry,Eileen,and Shawn where very helpful! The house keepers where hands down the best I've had at any hotel and Jill the cafeteria lady helped teach my daughter how to make a waffle. This place has amazing views and ill recommend it to anyone. Very Clean, Very attentive,The best Customer Service. All best westerns should use this hotel for example for awesome customer service and employees. love it here and will stay again next year! See yall in 2020

The hotel was clean, all of the facilities were clean! The staff was extremely friendly and easy to talk with! They gave us tips on stuff to do and scenery and we're super nice to our 6 kids!!!! The rooms were clean and didn't have a weird funky smell. Only a short walk to the beach and about 2 miles from the town!

We had our two dogs with us for just one night & Tessa at the front desk was SO wonderful with getting us setup! Super friendly and helpful. Since we had our pups we needed to have a pet-friendly room, which was very clean & comfortable. We also got to look at a couple of the suites, thinking we might stay there in the future. They are SO nice! All in all, a great place to stay.

When we checked in the staff at the front desk was friendly. When we go to our room it was like an apartment with out a kitchen..haha, it had two full bathroom, a living room with a fire place, walk out deck, bedroom with a comfortable bed and a view of the ocean, and the room was very clean! The hot tub and pool was clean and relaxing. Walking distance to the beach with a trail. As for the breakfast, they had A LOT of food. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes, sausage, pancakes, waffles, cereal, breads, juice, and coffee. Jill was so nice and friendly it was great! The cook was on it when Jill seen a food was getting low with in a minute or two she was bringing more out. Will definitely be back for a weekend getaway!

We stayed here one night and it was excellent. Very clean. The breakfast area was the best. Comfortable and clean. Front desk was very helpful as well as the person working in the dining area. She was very funny. I highly recommend.

This Best Western had a wonderful grassy area for us to let our dog go potty. Breakfast was alway good, hostess very nice. Wish we had view of the ocean but did have beach access that was real handy. Would stay here again.

We got a king suite and it was perfect! It actually is a small 1 bedroom apartment. Small fridge, full size stove so we were able to cook a couple meals. Pretty well stocked on the kitchen but keep it simple. We love our stay Just wish it had a better view of the ocean.

Totally blown away with our visit! Nothing like this property with direct access to the beach! Gorgeous views, excellent service, beautiful property. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, some with kitchenettes too. Can't wait to go back soon!

The staff here is fantastic, be sure to say hi to Larry and Eileen when you are there. The service is great the rooms are large and and the food one of the best I've been to at any of the Best Westerns I've been to. I't just a terrific place to be and come visit

We made a reservation for a pet friendly room with an early check-in. Arrived about 2:00, Larry (front desk manager) was at the desk. He got us right into our room. One of the best experiences at check-in, friendly, efficient, and accommodating. He makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Monday morning went to the breakfast area expecting the typical hotel breakfast. Were we way off base, very nice selection, the sausage and hash browns rivaled any restaurant breakfast. Aubry did the preparation (excellent) and was also the greeter, extremely friendly and seemed to enjoy her job. While walking the dog I met 2 ladies who clean the rooms and they were also the same, seems to be a pattern of friendliness and people enjoying their jobs here. This would have been a 10+ except for the fact there are no restaurants close by and the parking is a little disjointed. When Lord Bennetts down the road is open again a definite 10 is in order. No doubt this will be our go to hotel in Bandon

This is an older but well kept property right across the street from the beach. The rooms are arranged in multiple units, it looks more like a townhouse complex than a hotel. Our room had two queen beds, fridge and microwave and a small balcony with a peek-a-boo view of the ocean and Face Rock. The room was really nicely decorated and had two really comfy chairs. The best part of the hotel is it's proximity to the beach. Although it's across the beach, they have their own well marked trail to the beach. It only takes a couple of minutes to get from the property to the gorgeous views of the surf and of Face Rock. They have a nice sized indoor pool and hot tub that my wife and kids took advantage of and breakfast was quite good with waffles, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and eggs. This is a beautiful property that's definitely worth a stay.

Old, lumpy bed, room smelled, dated, and be sure to ask about their haunted guest that kept bumping my bed during the night. Was not pleased with the condition of the hotel. Made a remark about the visitor I had a night, they even had a name for him and said he was harmless.

We normally travel in our RV but decided to stay in a hotel to explore this area new to us by car so we stayed here. The staff are amazing, very friendly & informative of things to do. Our room was clean & fresh. We stayed in a pet room with our fur baby & it was so clean. The grounds are beautiful & well kept! The walk to the beach was perfect & right across the street. Now the breakfast was so very good & plentiful. Biscuits were so fresh & gravy was like home made, there were also sausages, eggs, pancakevs, waffles & so much more to choose from! We headed out both days with full tummies! The lady working there was so sweet & helpful on trip ideas too! Thank you Best Western, Eileen & Larry we will be back!

This Hotel was perfect for my three night stay in the area. It was convenient to the location I was headed to each day as luck would have it as well. A short drive along the scenic coastal route was so pretty each morning and returning again in the evening. Nice accommodations. Very convenient to both Bandon and Old Town Bandon too!

This is a very nice property with ground level access even to the 2nd floor rooms! The fireplace suite was huge and spacious. Has two full bathrooms, stove, microwave and mini fridge. The fireplace is a true fireplace that uses presto logs—very nice feel over gas but only one 1-1/2 hour log provided—but I guess extras are for sale in office? I would have give an excellent rating except we couldn't get the room to warm up even with the heaters running all the time. The heater in the bedroom was noisy and blew directly on the bed. I would come back in the spring or summer when warmer. View of ocean is nice but partial. The hotel is off the main highway so it is quiet and relaxing! Yet it is close to town and restaurants.

Great service, beautiful facilities, and wonderful setting. This is a great place to get away and enjoy the Oregon Coast. I have stayed there previously when business took me to the Coast, but now I return when I want to get away. I love the suites with the fireplaces. 204 is my favorite because it has a nice view of the water.

I recently stayed at the Best Western In at Face Rock in Bandon Oregon on 2 different occasions. The hotel is clean, well layed out and well staffed. The prices are reasonable. The location is superb with access to the beach and the town of Bandon. The beach is fantastic for families and the town of Bandon has all the food and amenities.

My roller derby team frequently travels for games, so we have had a variety of rooms. This room, especially the beds, was very comfortable and we would definitely stay here again next time we are in town. The pool and spa was open until 11, which is much appreciated after playing. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This property does not live up to the Best Western name, don't expect recognition for your Best Western rewards unless you pay full price.The room was not very clean, the furniture was outdated and uncomfortable. The location is the only thing that makes this hotel special. The cocky this is they way it is attitude of the receptionist sealed the deal for a poor rating.

This motel has a beatiful property and great location and beach access. The rooms are bigger than most and are updated. Pool and hot tub were perfect and breakfast was better than most restaurants in the area.

This hotel in a quiet residential area was absolutely beautiful. Access to the ocean was right across the street. Hotel staff was extremely helpful. The quality of the breakfast was wonderful. Will definitily stay here again on my next trip down the Oregon coast.

Sightseeing on the 101 from Florence, OR down to the redwood forests of Northern California. The end of the first day found us in Bandon. Looked on our phone app and selected this Best Western. It was dark out so finding the hotel was a little bit of a problem. Once there, we were greeted by a friendly face and a wonderful room. Two king beds on the ground floor near parking. Enjoyed the WiFi and the TV before falling asleep. The next morning we enjoyed the included breakfast. Would gladly stay again.

Beautiful, and well kept grounds look as good as a golf course. Grounds are sparkling clean! you will not see a cobweb or candy wrapper anywhere. Staff is exceptionally friendly. Pool and spa are just the right temperature and the continental breakfast is on par with hotels well above this price point. The sound of the ocean and fog horns in the background make for a very relaxing stay. You will be happy staying here. Rooms are very comfortable as well.

This hotel is well located with views of the ocean. The grounds and the rooms are clean and quiet.The breakfast was quite good, and the hotel staff was extremely helpful.This location is a great value that I would recommend to any travelers.

Face Rock is a great place to stay. I would stay there again when the opportunity presents itself. It is a very enjoyable experience. The televisions are not really clear in resolution but that could be the cable service. Looks like I use 200 characters.

This hotel is the best! Beautiful location across the street from a gorgeous beach, great breakfast, beautiful landscaping, comfortable beds, big rooms, kind staff, nice pool and jacuzzi, laundry facility, great beer and wine selection in lobby, good strong coffee with real cream, nice herbal teas, etc.

This is a must stop here when traveling the coast. Not only is it a beautiful area to see, but this hotel had great breakfast, friendly staff, and great rooms! They did see the notes it was a 50th wedding anniversary traveling trip and really made everyone welcome. Loved it

My family visited Bandon for a wedding in October 2018 and we chose this Inn based on prior reviews and online photos. We were not disappointed as it is right by the ocean and a very clean and nice place especially for the price. The only issue is the rooms need to be updated, other than that great service, great staff, good breakfast and great location.

We chose this through TripAdvisor ratings. Our room,although clean, badly needed updating.Carpet replacement as a minimum. The bed sheet was torn. Certainly not worth a top-notch rating. The staff however were wonderful. Our registration clerk was very friendly and informative about the town. At checkout, the supervisor was most apologetic about the room and discounted the room rate as a compensation for our dissatisfaction. I hope the new owners upgrade the place for the next season and the staff will be more proud of their facility.

Best Western Inn at Face Rock is situated on lovely grounds on a road that is a few blocks off Hwy 101. Beach Loop Road lies between the hotel and the beach which is a short walk across the road and through the sand dunes. We reserved a king room and were able to get one of the rooms in a single level section of building. Since we are light sleepers, it was good not to have other guests walking above us. As senior citizens, it was good not to have to carry our luggage upstairs. We appreciated the thought that hotel staff put into our room assignment. In addition to the comfortable king bed, our room had night tables that were large enough for a sleep machine, sofa, chair, coffee table, desk, TV, chest, refrigerator, microwave, and adequate lighting. The layout is very nice, but the furnishings could use some updating. We liked the split bathroom, but it could also use a refresh. The space is functional and clean, but it looks old. The closet area, just outside the bathroom in the same area as the sink and vanity, has hanging space and a luggage rack. Breakfast is served each morning in a separate building. (This is a multi-building hotel.) Plenty of hot and cold items were offered for a good start to the day. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our thanks to Larry for his cheerful kindness.

Nice hotel, we were upgraded to a suite which was nice. We had a balcony with a view of the Pacific Ocean. Everything was good except that the rooms in our suite were cold and having the heaters on maximum (75F) did not help.

We stayed at the Best Western in Bandon, Oregon in September for one night and were very impressed, wishing we had more than one night as we drove up the coast. The staff was fantastic in providing information on things to do in the area including a variety of restaurant recommendations that were spot on. High marks also go to the breakfast buffet and the woman who took personal pride in servicing the guests needs and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility while preparing the food and ensuring that all stations did not run low on food. Bandon was a beautiful location on our drive up the coast.

This hotel is a fairly nice cosmetic refurbishing of an old-style motel. Nice beds, nice linens, good lighting, good shower, roomy vanity area. The counters in the vanity area are so low that my bad back had trouble leaning down that far. The bath/toilet room was very small - like an old-style motel. The free breakfast was pretty good for a free breakfast. Not as good as a Holiday Inn Express, but not bad at all. Our biggest complaint - one that would make me not stay here again - is the lack of any measly form of security on the wi-fi. Anyone driving by could connect to it, so we didn't use it even for surfing the news. In addition to the lack of security, only one of our three devices was able to sign onto the wi-fi at all. When will hotels realize that good, moderately secure wi-fi is like having hot water???? It's essential to travelers!!!

Had a great stay very nice hotel close to beach we had ocean view room very roomy. Room was very clean and comfortable, hotel had great staff and really nice full breakfast. Hotel was also located not far for town only a short ride.

Fabulous stay at Best Western Inn at Face Rock, Bandon Oregon. Very clean, lovely room. Wonderful staff. Nice amenities, can't wait to return. Lovely view of the ocean. The outside landscaping was very attractive and neat. Privacy was good.

Several buildings, the look of an apartment complex. Room was fine. Indoor pool was nice. Sign in hotel area nice. Breakfast was a big disappointment. Bagels but no cream cheese or butter, tiny muffins or cereal. For $165.00 in a non-beachfront room I expected something more. Next time I'll stay five minutes away in a place under $100 and just go out to breakfast. It is a short walk or drive to the beach. And I almost forgot, had to told the toilet handle down and count to 15 just to flush water and TP!

A two night stay completed our southern coast trip. Clean and comfortable rooms, and a wonderful tasty breakfast to get you going. Our third visit to this hotel and they have all been excellent. Well maintained.

We have been coming to this beautiful place every year with our little guy. It's always so clean, quite and peaceful. The walk to the beach is just a hop, skip and jump away. It's also always a pleasure seeing Tess each year. Her customer service is always outstanding and she helps us with whatever we might need. She is truly irreplaceable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fun time with there family with nice comfortable rooms.

We didn't know what to expect, but this place is really relaxing. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best we've found, and our room opened to the ocean view, with a small couch and a king sized bed, a refrigerator, and no hassles from neighbors. We didn't want to leave, and stayed an extra night we were enjoying it so much.

This is a tired old facility. The $200 cost is not worth it. Needs a total refurbishment with modern up to date fixtures and furniture. Service is not up to normal Best Western standards. We are gold card members and travel frequently. This Best Western at Bandon Oregon does not measure up to all the others we stay at . Rooms are to small and to get to the breakfast is a hike . Not worth the money

This was a last minute replacement for a hotel further south as we decided to avoid the fires. The hotel is very pleasant, with quiet rooms and we had a balcony on the second floor. The pool was good. We ate at Billy Smoothboars, which is also recommended, before seeing sunset at Face Rock. A good choice. Thank you.

Checked in. Was directed to go out of parking lot, around the corner into another parking lot to reach our room Very dark. Inadequate parking. Door stuck due to warping. Usual amenities. Small TV, refrig and micro. Had trouble locating an outlet for the usual electronic equipment. Found one under the desk. Carpet stained. Long walk to breakfast. Beach is located across the street and down a long path. No elevators so had to schlep our baggage upstairs. No a good place for anyone with disabilities or aged for a number of reasons, or in poor weather. Barking dog in next unit. Other facilities in the local area may be of more value. .

Loved the location! Not on the beach but just across the street from it. The room we stayed in was kind of small and needed some updating but was clean and comfortable! You should also visit Old Town Bandon while here! Great shopping, food and views.

Great Inn the rooms are clean. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of things to choose from. The beach access was just across the street. Close to town, even though you had to drive to it. Great shops. Wide variety of restaurants to choose from. Husband and grandson are going to go there this coming labor day, they will be riding a Harley Davidson to get there.They will be staying at the Best Western at Facerock. That should tell you how we fill about it. It is not cheap to stay there but it is worth it. Will probably stay there next year too.

This is one of the best Best Western hotels we've stayed in. Our youngest son really liked the set up. The folks at the front desk were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were nice and clean, and the beds were comfortable. We always travel with our two dogs and places that offer a grassy area for them is high on our list. No dog wants to do its business on concrete! So having a grassy section is a MUST! And if there are poop bags available, that's a bonus! Of course, we bring our own poop bags and always clean up after our dogs. Will be staying here again next time we travel to the Oregon Coast, which is gorgeous, by the way.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a nice suite and had all the accommodations that we can ask for! Management and staff were very helpful and kind! Bandon is a great place to relax for a few days. Stay here!!

we tried to get in and got stuck in bad hotel in coos bay but were able to book a room the next day and the hotel and staff were great, the breakfast was great and tasted fresh and hand made unlike almost all other best westerns we stayed at down the coast overall a great experience

We arrived at 4pm and the room hadn't been cleaned but was in the process of being done. The worker didn't change the sheets and the previous guest had just rolled out of them. In our other room, the sheets smelled like sweat from a fat old man and it was nauseating. The rest of the room was clean enough, but that's disgusting and sheets should always be changed between guests. Yuck.

Cute seaside town. The hotel was over all good. The room was large if laid out a bit awkwardly. Could use a little more attention to detail in cleanliness. Found cobwebs in window sill and a spider in the pull out couch. Walls are a little thin and we heard the people upstairs late into the night. The employees at check in were very nice and helpful.

Our stay at the Best Western at Face Rock in Bandon, Oregon was very enjoyable for both Millie and I. Everything at the hotel went superbly. We enjoyed the room, used the heated indoor pool, especially enjoyed the awesome breakfasts. We walked the beaches, strolled the streets, stores and gallery's in town and tried different places for meals. The first night we ate at a restaurant called Billy Smoothboar's. It turned out to be a subdued atmosphere but the food and service were very good. The second day we had an awesome lunch at a Mexican restaurant called La Fiesta that was extraordinary. Being from the Southwestern United States near the Mexican border I have not enjoyed Mexican food as well in a long time. Service was great!! That night we ate at Alloro Wine Bar & Restaurant with two other couples Millie knows from Medford, Oregon. Everything about this event was top notch. We are a range of different dishes and everyone thought it was excellent. I strongly recommend Bandon to anyone wanting to escape the inland heat and smoke for an unforgettable event.

I give this establishment 5 stars. Great accommodations and great staff. Place was very clean. Pool and spa were great. Restaurant recommendations were great. Getting to Bandon was very short drive from the motel. We also had beach access.

We have been visiting this establishment for many years and have experienced its ups and downs. We reviewed it a few years back when it came under new management and we were impressed. This positive trend continues with major upgrades to the infrastructure including interior decoration and structural changes to the buildings and grounds....all positive. These improvements simply motivate us to keep returning. The staff is superior in the level of service provided. The breakfast is above average compared to other Best Western offerings and who can complain about the location. So as long as we enjoy this sort of experience we will continue to return. A well deserved pat on the back to the new owners and the staff.

Stayed at the BW Inn at Face Rock to escape the summer heat in central Oregon. This was one of the only rooms left on the coast, and had never stayed there before. Thought we'd give it a go. The place is great. They take dogs (always a good thing), clean, quiet, and a short walk to the beach. The room lacked an ocean view -- I'd think all the rooms lack an ocean view except that they advertise a partial view in some rooms -- and it lacked any way to circulate air through the room. No fan, no air conditioner, only a small heater in the wall. A ceiling fan or mini-split would be a welcome addition! But the place was fine. A full breakfast was included with the price, and it was one of the better motel breakfasts I've had. Real food! A good place to stay, and only about 5 minutes down a slow drive to Old Town Bandon. Good spot.

I would definitely recommend this place! It's 5 minutes from the beach. It has laundry facilities and the breakfast was very good. I would recommend staying a couple of days to relax and enjoy the beach. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Before arriving at this property I didn't really have any expectations as it a part of a large chain and assumed it would be the same as any other Best Western I have stayed in previously however, this property felt very different. I received a very warm welcome upon check in. The staff were super friendly and provided me with suggestions on where to eat and the best spots to visit in Bandon as well as directions to the beach. For a first time visitor to Bandon (and Oregon) these little snippets of information were very useful! The room was great, two good sized doubles, a microwave and a reasonable sized dressing area. However for me the stand out part was the decor. For a large chain the property has a real authentic feel. With old pictures of the light house on the wall and the white wooden furniture, its very pretty! To top it all off, I had a great nights sleep. Very comfy beds and the room that we stayed in was very quiet. The location of this property is good. It's a within short walking distance to the beautiful beach. As we had to set off early I went to check out at around 5:30am again greeted by a lovely member of staff. I queried the breakfast time (hoping it would be 6am as I would have waited) to find out that it would start at 7am. As I mentioned that it was too late and I had to hit the road the lady said ‘Let me grab you some on the go bags'. She returned with paper bags filled with a Granola bar, an apple, a yogurt & a bottle of water. Again this minor thing made a huge difference as it meant we could all have breakfast in the car on our journey. I would just like to say a big thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome and providing a really authentic experience from a large chain hotel. If I am ever passing through Bandon again, I will be sure to stay here!

We were traveling from Washington to California with our son's golden retriever and needed to stay in a hotel that was dog friendly. I made the reservation by calling directly several months prior to our stay. I can't say enough positive things about this place. First off, it is across from the ocean with a path to the beach. We were given a room towards the back--which was great for our dog because I was worried he might bark at late arrivals to the area, offered first or second floor, and greeted like members of the family. The woman at check in was so friendly, gave us a map of the town and recommendations on places to eat, places that were dog friendly, and even offered to make reservations. But it was the breakfast in the morning which blew me away. Everything possible! Great pancakes, eggs, sausage, potatoes, muffins, fruit, yogurt, coffee offerings, tea, fruit, oatmeal, cereals--what more could you want? I would definitely stay here again and again. Great value too. I thought the beds were just fine and we all slept incredibly well after a long walk on the beautiful beach across the street.

I would stay here in the future and I would recommend to all of my friends. The staff was excellent and so friendly. They helped us find a great place to eat with a very nice sunset view. This was all on very short notice. We cannot thank them enough.

Stayed here with my family of 4 one night on our trip up the Oregon coast. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were decorated nicely and inviting. They were very clean and comfortable. It is a short walk to the beach which was a bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I liked how our room was spacious and included two accent chairs and table as well as a writing desk. The bathroom was a good size with the double sink and counter in a separate area. I also appreciated how there was a balcony. It was overall a great space. Guests have access to a private beach which was a short walk away. The hotel is located a short drive from historic downtown. It's also located near some of the most spectacular beaches I've ever seen. Breakfast was included. It was pretty standard but I must say that the pancakes and sausage were really good.

Bandon was a side trip. I wanted to see the ocean. It is quite a way down the 42 but worth it. The BW at Face Rock is some way out of the town centre. The staff were very professional and very helpful, recommending places to eat and directing us to the local supermarket. The rooms are set out in small blocks spread across the property. It is very pleasant looking. The room is well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast is a good quality experience, lots to choose from and very pleasant surroundings. After breakfast we had a walk on the beach prior to departure. It is a five minute walk through the dunes to an enormous stretch of sand which in mid-June is all but deserted. And the view is just plain wonderful. I only read about the legend of Face Rock on my return home so if you are going do your homework. Bandon is a place to visit and the BW at Face Rock is most assuredly the place to stay. Thanks for a great visit

This hotel has great accommodations, location and staff! Full breakfast is included, not a continental one! They have the works. Beach access directly across a small street. It's pricey but you get what you pay for. I've been here 5 times in the past 3 years! Will definitely return again!

We have stayed at the Best Western Inn at Face Rock twice now and I have been impressed by the quality and friendliness of the Inn and the beauty of the coastal location. The gentleman who checked us in was so kind and efficient and this time we even got an upgrade thanks to our Best Western Rewards membership. The room was very clean and quiet and we had a nice breakfast as well. Highly recommended.

Real Breakfast! Lovely pool and hot tub. Exercise Room. A large field area where we played Wiffle ball. The front office people were beyond helpful and kind. We stayed an extra night we enjoyed it so much. The shower is made for tall people, no limbo to wash my hair. Nice!!

Good breakfast, kids enjoyed pool, great location, rooms could use an upgrade: worn sheets and curtains, and room could use a deep cleaning, spider webs in bathroom window. Staff were super helpful and friendly. A bit pricey for quality of room but it was their summer season.

We have stayed here several times in the past, but not for a few years. Always enjoyed stays and this was no exception. Room was modest size, clean (as was bathroom), comfortably furnished with a good bed. Staff pleasant and helpful. Only distraction was slightly klunky people above us. Would stay again.

I highly recommend this hotel. It was a cozy spot, just across from a beautiful beach. My husband and I enjoyed a lovely morning stroll from our room to the beach and then down the beach a ways. Even though it was windy and a little rainy, it was still nice. We would stay here again. The value is good. The breakfast was okay - but included in the cost! Service was great! Overall, it was a memorable time spent here.

From the moment we walked into the libby we were greeted with a very happy and pleasant woman, who was very informative. Then on our way to our room we were greeted by the housekeeper who welcomed us in. The room was very clean and nice. Our balcony faced the ocean, and we had a private trail straight to the beach. A very short walk. It was absolutely great. We will be back.

We have stayed at this hotel when we travel up the coast in January. Bandon Bill's was a great restaurant that we enjoyed many times. We sure do miss it. We've stayed in the spacious condos with jacuzzi, fireplace and kitchenette and that was super. We've also stayed in plain rooms. All are comfortable and clean. You don't get much of an ocean view, but you are very close to the beach -- walking distance. And close to the wonderful labyrinths on the sand that Dennie creates. This is an ideal place to stay just for overnight or for an extended stay. There is plenty to do, see and enjoy close by. There are shops and restaurants in Old Town, plus hiking, whale-watching, and biking. I recommend this place.

On a road trip with our grad. Quiet comfortable rooms. Spread out on the property. Friendly staff. Indoor pool and spa were great for relaxing after riding in the dunes. Went out on the beach, dry and windy. Nice walk. Breakfast was good in nice space (only the eggs weren't the greatest, maybe powdered?) We would definitely stay here again.

We were traveling from Salem, Oregon back home to California. We decided to stay in Bandon on a whim. The property was quiet, not a lot of traffic for a Monday night in early June. We stayed in a two queen bed, bottom room floor. The room was clean, beds were firm and comfortable. I had a great nights sleep. The hotel has beach access and the path is clearly marked from the beach. We had a family above us with children and they were loud on and off throughout our stay. I was too tired from the drive to get up and use the phone that was located across the room and not next to the beds. I did mention that upon check out. The breakfast is good. Hot and cold selections: scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, biscuits and gravy, fruit, yogurt, pancakes, waffles, cereal, coffee, juice, etc. When we stayed, breakfast was supposed to be served until 10. We arrived at 9:45 and found the staff was already clearing food items from the buffet. My child could get cereal but not the milk because it had already been cleared. When I asked for some milk, I was told it was already cleared away. Another couple asked for more coffee and the staff told them there was more in the lobby and there wasn't anymore available in the breakfast area. I've been to all sorts of hotels where the staff kindly reminds patrons that service will stop in a few minutes in order for their guests to retrieve last minute items. I was frustrated that by 10am everything was cleared from the buffet and the area looked like breakfast was over hours ago. Upon checkout, I mentioned this situation with the hotel. They assured me this was not normal practice, however, my child and I still had an incomplete meal. I hope they fix their service and policies in this area. Indoor pool and hot tub are clean and there is a small workout room.

Spent on night there with family in two rooms. Came in after long day of riding motorcycles to this delightful hotel. Sean really made the visit special for us. He was most attentive, informative, helpful and so curteous. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, the complete hot breakfast, and walking the property and the beach. Wonderful experience. We'll back!

First off let me say we have stayed at Best western/plus up the coast so far and will not consider staying anywhere else. Excellent accommodations, excellent staff, excellent amenities. Pure excellence. Best western inn at facerock did not disappoint. Amazing location, and lived up to the expectation of what I now believe to be what a hotel should be. My son was over the moon when the gentleman that worked there gave him a free ice cream sandwich. If I am ever back I will try here.

We stumbled across this hotel on a road trip up the Pacific Northwest coastline. The room and breakfast was awesome and located on beautiful grounds with the beach just across the street. We'll be back!

Stopped here on our way back from Washington back to California. Got in about 8pm looking for a room Steven at the front desk helped us he was very helpful got us checked in and let us know what was available in the area for dinner. Wonder breakfast beautiful views love the lil cottage type rooms. Only got to stay the one night but would definitely stay again. Loved it.

This was my second stay here. First one was a year ago. This time I stayed six nights. The other recent reviewers carry my same sentiments. I loved my room, the breakfast, the grounds, and the very professional and friendly staff. I plan to return again. Bandon and its people are great! I like this hotel location as well.

My boyfriend and I did a beach trip this past weekend. The view was amazing. The hospitality was delightful. The room was big, clean and comfortable. It made the e cx experience that much better being in a nice hotel. I used to clean rooms for a living so I know what it takes to get a room ready and was very happy the room was clean and beautifully set up. I absolutely loved that property. Thank you for such a great stay.

We shared two rooms with daughter and 2 & 4 yr old granddaughters. It was a great time an easy trek to the beach and lots of grass to run and play. Breakfast is very well done and employees replace when needed. Will stay again at the locations.

From the moment we walked in (late), we were welcomed by a gentleman and told of restaurants nearby that were still open, as well as how to get to the beach and the amenities. He even moved our room so we had a prime spot! We left the next day in a whirlwind, and I received a call from the hotel while touring the Redwoods. Apparently I had left my iPad in the room. Having had things stolen from hotel rooms before, I was so happy to hear from them, before I had even noticed! They went out of their way to ship the iPad 2nd day to a hotel I was going to be staying at for the second leg of the trip. I was blown away by the professionalism, courtesy, and wonderful customer service I received at Inn at Face Rock. Amazing staff, great room, and great amenities. I will stay here when I come back! The rooms are smaller here than at the Best Western in Brookings where we stayed the night before, but they are nicely decorated, very clean, and in excellent condition. The staff is super friendly, the grounds are huge, and the hotel is quiet and relaxing. Although not on the beach, the hotel has an easement allowing access via a private path...and what a beach it is! This is one of the most beautiful spots on the whole Oregon coast. With the beautiful sand, enchanting sea stacks, dramatic cliffs, and wonderful trees and flowers, it is just gorgeous. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Bandon, Oregon. Staff was helpful and courteous. They not only provided information regarding places to eat but things to do. The room was very clean and pleased with the amenities. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices.

Excellent service!!! Larry at the front desk started our stay with humor and laughter and Liz one of the house keeping managers made us feel right at home and took extra good care of us. We will definitely stay there again when visiting Bandon

Awesome customer service; excellent room and just all around EXCELLENT! I will recommend to all. My pets were welcomed with doggy treats and we were given a first floor room for easy “in and out” as we requested.

Best Western Inn at Face Rock Bandon A day at Bandon Oregon 578798011 At first look not what we expected as we did not realize the size of the Inn from the front entrance and location was a little further out of town. Staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful. We had reserved a regular room but the offer made by the staff for a suite was too good to pass up. Room was very nice and had a partial view of the ocean. Easy walk down to the beach which was one of the best beaches we had ever been on. Happy we stayed out of town as it was very nice area and easy drive into downtown Bandon. A very pleasant stay.

It is a typical Best Western hotel, though our room was quite spacious. The hotel is across the street from the beach, with a very easy walk to beautiful Face Rock beach, but there are no rooms with an ocean view. We had a pet friendly room (at $25 extra a night), but did not receive any provisions for our dog, no dog treats, towels, toys, etc., which most other pet friendly hotels provide. Service was fine, front desk friendly but not knowledgeable of the area. I asked about hiking trails close by, but the man at the front desk said he doesn't know the area. I wouldn't necessarily stay here if we don't have our dog with us, but it is appropriate for anyone looking for a pet friendly hotel here.

Great hotel for the price. The service was friendly, with a nice room and great breakfast. This is the second time staying at the hotel and will do it again. Also, it has a nice view that is a short walk to the Pacific ocean beach.

Not ON the ocean but within a short walking distance, this Best Western has a good location, in the great little city of Bandon. I was also very impressed with their breakfast which was not just a typical hotel breakfast. They had homemade pancakes (not those that come out of a machine), a couple kinds of yogurts, and plenty of tables. The room was also large and the bed was comfy. But there were a lot of little things, I think they need to improve. In the whole room I found 4 outlets - none of which were located in a convenient space. And one of the outlet wouldn't hold a plug. They need a couple of power strips so electronic devices can be easily accommodated. The hair dryer was stuck in low. There was a pad of paper but no pens. My coffee wasn't replaced on the second day, there were no lids for the coffee cups (though you could get them in the breakfast hall) and the ironing board is a miniature and my back hurt bending over to use it. Little things that would be easily fixed. I'd return again.

The newly remodeled suites are off the charts, the price is a bargain, and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Seriously, you'll love it here. I stay in 175 hotels a year and this is one of my favorites.

I came here with my parents and aunt to catch up and hang out. I wasn't expecting too much, but the staff really went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as they could. I had forgotten my toothbrush and they gave me disposable toothbrushes, which was great. We went to the free breakfast in the morning and I wasn't expecting much, as it's a hotel free breakfast. But it was actually really good! Everything was hot and full and seemed freshly made. And there were lots of options to choose from. The staff was on top of making sure there was fresh coffee and that we had everything we needed. I work in customer service so it's one of the first things I notice and they really were great. I would absolutely stay here again!

I stayed here for four nights. This hotel is clean and functional in a good location. It does not have beach views but you can hear the waves and access the beach across the street. The rooms are updated in some ways ways but dated in others. In particular the blow dryer was horrible!—loud and hot but with no airflow. But everything works. There's hot, strong water in the shower and everything is clean. Above all, the staff was ultra friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and hot. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here on business but my wife and two small dogs came too. Allowed an early Checkin. Room was very light. Private and quiet. Staff loved the dogs. Very close to the beach and bluff. What I really loved was the breakfast. It came with the room but is probably the most extensive I have ever seen. Too much to list but really well made. Be sure to have the hash browns.

Clean, quiet and large motel. Short walk to a private beach. We went in mid April so it was not crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast offered lots of choices. We will definitely return!

We only stayed one night but the resort was kept in excellent condition. The breakfast was the best we've had at a hotel. It was restaurant quality and plenty of seating. The room we had was very quiet and had a second door to the patio.

The staff and food at this location were both the best at any BW that my wife and I have experienced. we will stay here again when ever we are in the area. As seniors we enjoy quietness and this location offered that as it was far from the highway. The only noise was the Oceans roar.

plastic cover on mattress, very difficult to sleep, cold room, maid did not vacuum carpet and clean table tops, had to pressure front desk to clean room (was told all that could be done is bring me more towels)

This is a great place to stay. The staff is amazing. The kids loved the pool. Kids enjoyed the internet and TV. The rooms were clean and beds were great. Short distance from the beach. An breakfast was amazing. I will be back.

Hotel room was nice. Guest services was pleasant. Quick walk to the beach. But when I left a book there and drove back home 5 and a half hours away I called to inquire about having it shipped back. When they said they would send it back to me and asked for my card number I thought they would send it from the post office in a 5 dollar priority shipping box like many hotels I had no problem paying to get my book back. When it came in today I was happy until I opened it and found my bookmark (a dollar bill) had been taken from my book and that I had been charged 13 dollars to have it shipped back to me when I could have just replaced it through Amazon for 10. Very displeased with the manner in which this was handled.

Very close to face rock state park and dining in old town Bandon. Has convenient beach access The breakfast is superb with sausages, pancakes and scrambled eggs. The staff are great They paid close attention to my disability requirements and had a great room fo rme. The location looks more like a resort than a motel.

We had just come from the BW Humboldt in Eureka, which also had good reviews, and the two properties can't be compared. The Bandon BWP is across the street from beachfront properties, with its own beach access that takes you down to a gorgeous long, wide beach bookended by magestic outcroppings. The place feels like it's on a golf course. The rooms are great, and the breakfast area is large and features a generous buffet.

difficult to find but we had a newly renovated suite which was very nice, large with good kitchen. hotel has nice indoor pool and a good hot buffet breakfast. Friendly helpful staff and lovely view of ocean across the road.

We had a king sized unit with desk and ample seating area. In addition, we had a double sink outer bathroom. A refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. made it even more comfortable. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast included in the room rate is the best we have ever had in a hotel which includes breakfast.

My wife & I stayed here recently. Very Attentive & friendly staff with Great Customer service skills.. The rooms are nice, but could use an update. Breakfast was very good. Best place to stay if your in Bandon..

Our family decided to do a road trip from Scappoose Oregon. We decided to stop at the second day after doing research on what place had things we all wanted. 5 of us our kiddos 13,12,4. Tessa was the woman at the hotel counter. We had the greatest time. All of our needs were met and we were minutes from the Ocean Beaches. We went horse back riding and enjoyed the small antique shops. We stayed an extra day because we felt so welcome.

Very clean, affordable and the queen suites are amazing. The employees where super great and the view in room 101 was amazing as well. Loved the pool and fitness center. The bath in the bathrooms where so nice and huge and the housekeepers where so amazing. Thank u best western at face rock.

Beautiful place for a nice relaxing weekend. Weather didn't cooperate much but we got to walk the beach on Saturday and enjoy a wonderful meal at a local restaurant recommended by the front desk. Great staff, great location, great breakfast, great rooms!

After a long day on the road, this was a lovely place to stop. We asked for a quiet room, no one overhead, it was quiet. Comfortable beds, clean room, friendly & efficient check in. Complimentary breakfast was great, one of best we have enjoyed. Will stay again.

We arrived early at 1 p.m. And after a joke about not checking in people from Washington State early, we were very pleasantly checked in and given our choice of rooms. Grounds are beautiful. Rooms are clustered in groups of four with no next door walls and we elected the second floor. Nice rooms--well maintained and seem a little older. Barely can see the beach, but there is a path right down to the beach through the dunes and there you are. Be warned if you are wearing shoes that there is a stream that might limit access to the south. Full breakfast and a decent dining area.

This is probably the best place to stay in this town. Not on the ocean...but there is a short path, very pretty....that takes you to the beach. The inn and grounds are meticulously cared for, staff is friendly and helpful. This is far better than some of the dated and well worn hotels on the beach. Buildings surround a large park like grassy area with gazebo. Very quiet part of town and yet only about 5 or 10 minuets from restaurants and town.

Had a good room , no problem best western stay - Had no complaints! Breakfast was ready at the announced time , hosted by a nice , cheerful young lady , and as a bonus , the weather has been great , sunny and 55 to 60 degrees!

The tv system is awful and frustrating but then that the stay was pretty great, fun pool and gym!! Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean and pretty. Just please make your tv's better I couldn't even connect my laptop to it with an hdmi because the remote doesn't have and option. ):

It was an impromptu visit to the coast. Bandon was the agreed upon destination. The weather was cold, wet, windy. We decided to stay. BW at Face Rock was my choice last time because access to the beach was easy. I was met at the front desk by Eileen and Larry. They were super friendly. Extremely personable. Eileen set me up with a great room, ocean view, more than fair price. Breakfast was awesome. Room was clean, quiet, cozy, comfortable. The entire staff was super friendly. Larry checked us out and was genuinely appreciative for our business. This will always be my choice when going to Bandon. You should make it yours too!

This hotel is relatively new, the rooms are spacious with a front and back door that goes out to a small patio. It's about a mile from the Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint and about two-three miles from downtown Bandon. It's across the street from the ocean, but there is easy access the street and to the beach from the hotel. The weather is so nice in this area, the banana belt of Oregon, warmer than most other parts in January, when we visited. The people who live in town confirmed the nicer weather year round and claimed that's why they live in the area, less rain and more sunshine and warm than inland and further north. They could use more electrical outlets in the rooms, as it was hard to get to them behind the night stands...hope they install lamps with outlets soon. The breakfast was really good, while prepared for a lot of people and not customized meals, the food was better than most hotels which include breakfast. They had hot eggs, meat, pancakes, waffles, potatoes, cereals, muffins. Will stay here again!

Room was large and well kept, almost a suite with two entrances. They used that nasty disinfecting deodorizer stuff which took a couple of hours to air out. You are about a five minute drive from the seaside area of town, and there is a private path to the beach right across the road. The beach is fabulous and should not be missed. The complimentary breakfast was possibly the best free hotel breakfast I have ever had. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel had a good outside appearance, the staff was very good. Chick you're literally the housekeeping staff did everything extra I asked them to do. Maintenance couldn't seem to fix the couple of problems we had to our satisfaction. The toilet, the lighting, the door locks. The inside was well worn and used and needs to be updated drastically.

Clean and comfortable room close to the beach. We looked for a pet friendly motel in Bandon. Room was clean and good sized. Heat worked well. Beds super comfortable. Beach access via a small path. Beach area was outstanding.

Great location. Fun town. Hotel is down by the beach and has great views. I couldn't believe how little we paid for such a good hotel. We had a great stay there with no problems. And the complimentary breakfast is excellent.

We have stayed at Inn at Face Rock several times. It is a family favorite. The private beach access is wonderful. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The pool is comfortable, not too cold like many other hotels. Recommend the 2nd floor for ability to see the ocean. Look forward to next visit!

Wonderful staff, nice location. We enjoyed our stay, we had a last minute issue with a Christmas Eve reservation at another hotel and Larry, the front desk manager rescued us with a lovely room and early check in.

The staff was very friendly and cheerful. The continental breakfast was probably the most impressive I have seen for basic free breakfasts. They had a wide spread of food (biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, waffles, fruit, pasteries, oatmeal, etc.) Room was comfortable. They were a bit worn, but still clean and presented well. The way the hotel is set up, for NON suite rooms, you have very limited wall sharing with other rooms, so that cuts down on neighbor noise. Suites used to be Condos and from previous stays were nice.

I have stayed here every year for five years but I was totally disappointed with my stay this time, seemed more like a $ 79.00 a night place not a $ 130.00 a night place. It was the night before my wedding and I felt totally harassed to leave the room, even though I requested late check out at booking and confirmed it at check in.

We stayed here for one night. The host was so friendly and gave us heaps of information. The room was amazingly clean and well appointed and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was good and the hostess was lovely and friendly.

The Inn at Face Rock is a motel my wife & I have stayed at numerous times and are looking forward to our next stay there. Great and friendly staff, clean rooms, nice facilities make it our go to place as we travel the Oregon Coast. It's close to the small seaside town of Bandon where there are numerous shops and restaurants.

Traveling Hwy 101 decided to make Bandon Oregon a stop. Stayed in a King Suite, pleasantly surprised at the size of the unit.. All the King Suite units have 2 bathrooms. Very spacious. Nice small kitchenette. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Will plan to return for a longer stay.

Great place to stay! It's not on the beach but across the street. The value and service and quality of the hot breakfast makes it worth staying here. I have stayed across the street and the room quality especially the beds make this hotel far superior not to mention the friendliness of the staff

We had a lovely stay with a clean room, great breakfast and fantastic beach access. Staff was very friendly. The only downfall was a lack of recycling. Paper was thrown directly into the garbage and there weren't any options for cans or glass either. This was the only disappointment, and its a big one in 2017.
