« Park and Fly stay »

Really, really nice hotel. Was pleasantly surprised. Easy check in. Room very clean and large, couch, chair and a great bathroom with whirlpool tub. Really great price with extended parking included too. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Solved our minor problem with a smile. Would stay here again if needing a hotel pre or post BWI flight.

« Park and fly is terrible »

Thanksgiving day 2016 I arrived at the front desk at exactly 8am. The rude woman behind the front desk barked at me that the shuttle left and it leaves precisely on time. The shuttle returned at approximately 8:20. Being unaware of the strict schedule I inquired if the driver could take me to the airport. The woman behind the desk told the driver NO! The shuttle leaves precisely at 8:30. As I waited near the door til 8:30 I overheard the woman behind the desk talking negatively about me to a coworker because I asked if the shuttle could take me early. I was concerned I would miss my flight. The return shuttle was no better. I called for the shuttle but when I stepped outside the door the shuttle was already there picking up other passengers and it was about to leave. I waved at the driver in an attempt to get on the shuttle. He looked right at me, made eye contact and then pulled away. So rude. I will never use this service again.

    « Stay Park Fly »

Used this as a airport parking for an early flight. Checkin quick and easy. Beds comfortable, odd shape quicky shower, breakfast included. Airport shuttle somewhat inconvienient at just on the hour. Hotel info in room claimed every half hour. After booking room I saw the only on the hour note on booking page. To truly be an airport type hotel very half hour shuttle should be a must.

« Bad service at the front desk on arrival »

I reserved a room thru the Park and Fly site for this hotel. The purpose for this stay was to be close to the airport, park my car at the hotel and take the shuttle to the airport at a reasonable rate. However when we arrived at the hotel I was told the shuttle for the 4:00AM timeframe was fully booked by one family and that another shuttle was not available for that timeframe. The only suggestions the front desk had was to take the earlier shuttle at 3:00AM or take the later shuttle at 5:00AM both of which would not work for our departure time. This resulted in us having to take our car to a parking lot near the airport, pay the extra money for the parking and take that shuttle to the airport. This was an added expense I did not allow for in my trip expenses and was very inconvenient to say the least. I will never book this hotel again when flying out of BWI.

    « Short stay »

There was 4 of us that stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and there was plenty of room. Bathroom was a little small though. Didn't stay long enough to try the breakfast, but the staff were very helpful as we spilt a drink on the sheets and they gave us fresh sheets within 10 minutes. There's quite a few quick food options around the hotel as well.

    « Old hotel, made new--renovations »

We had to switch rooms upon check in. There were lady bugs all on the ceiling, window seal, curtains, and lamp shade. My room did not get cleaned on the first night of stay. They did take off one night of stay due to room not getting cleaned.

    « Excellent Accommodations »

My wife and I stayed at this hotel recently. We found it to be very clean and well kept. The room and beds were extremely comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast bar had a good selection. The location was only 15 mins from BWI Airport.

    « post cruise »

I was amazed once I walk in the lobby. Room is clean and well made up. Hallway is very nice and clean smell like a new place. Staff is very helpfully. Free coffee the whole day I believe. you have access to a print. If you are going on a cruise this is the best place to park for less. Also will take you to the port for free.

« Best Western Plus - much improved! »

We had stayed at this hotel previously and were treated so badly we vowed we would never return. We decided to try again (as it was conviently located) and were very impressed this time. The hotel is under new management and they went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel.

« Best Value and service »

We chose this venue due to it being a park and cruise venue. It was close to the port of call and the from beginning to end it was a hassle free visit !!!! GREAT JOB !!!!! The shuttle staff was wonderful, pointing our different sites as we returned from our cruise.

« Another Great Stay at Best Western Plus BWI Airport North »

We stayed at this location for 3 nights from 10/20 to 10/23/16 and will return for 3 more nights the end of October. We have stayed here many times. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. The hotel staff is great. Donnel the van driver is courteous and helpful. He always has a smile on his face. Had a billing problem at checkout but Sharon, the General Manager, quickly corrected it. We have stayed at a number of Best Westerns including West Yellowstone, Montana this past summer and this one at BWI Airport North is one of the best.

    « Overcharged!! »

Stayed at this location prior to a cruise. Used hotel shuttle from the airport and also to the cruise port. The stay was adequate. I did not have high expectations. My unhappiness came when my credit card statement arrived and I was charged 30% more than the price quoted on my reservation confirmation. I made 4 calls to the hotel trying to resolve this issue. Finally got to speak to the front desk manager and I'm still waiting for a call back. Time to let the credit card company handle the dispute. If you stay here hang on to your paperwork!! They make mistakes! My experience is that it is impossible to resolve any dispute directly with them. I'll be staying elsewhere on my next trip to Baltimore.

    « Nice Hotel but... »

Audrey at the front desk was a plus for the property. She was very good at what she does. The property is very nice but can be better maintained. My first room had one bed instead of 2. In an effort to upgrade me I did not get two beds. Then we move to the next room with a "brand new" tv. Well it had not been completely programmed and maintenance came and took care of that. But the worst part of it was the commode did not flush properly. Maintenance came from a sister property and plunged and said you're fixed. Well it was not fixed when we went to use it. It's like people half way do maintenance. Of course he was gone for the night and so it was. Breakfast was typical hot and cold. My problems were compensated which was good but I had rather not have problems. I might stay there again because of Audrey and the location, I was in town for a football game. Because so many people stay here for cruises, parking can be really tight.

    « Night before flight »

Very clean and quiet! Girls at check in desk were nice and helpful, my only complaint was no "Diet Coke" in pop machine. Would stay here again, easy to find off freeway. Close to many things to do and eat nearby.

« Stay Park and Cruise »

This hotel was easily accessable from 695 Lots of parking on hotlel property Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was ample for continental Lots of coffee available in lobby all the time Several hotel shuttles available to take people to cruise port Package rate was great for hotel parking and shuttle service to cruise port Some frustration occurred trying to call to get a return shuttle from cruise port Hotel Driver cheerfully took us without a number and ended the problem to our satisfaction

    « Nightmare »

Book to park sleep & fly ..a three hour drive to get to Hotel, or Room had No working air (maintenance man said management was aware of problem for a few days prior) requested another room, advised, totally booked and manager would contact us, never happened, in morning found out 32 rooms were open! No breakfast ready before leaving for airport, upon arriving back from trip, called for shuttle to take us back to hotel, called twice, after 1 hr and 20 min. contact again and no shuttle, had been sent. had to pay for own transportation back to hotel to get our car! To put a cherry on top, checked our credit card and we were overcharged $116.00. No cooperation from manager, after a number of calls to hotel group after one month finally credited with just overcharge! No compensation for transportation or lack of air. Not a good experience at all!

    « Early Flight »

Stayed here for the shutle to BWI and free parking. Very nice nearly new hotel. Shutle to BWI about 10 Min., we left at 5:00A.M. for a 6:45A.M. flight. Looked like a nice breakfest, but our flight was too early. Wait for Pick up at airport for return to hotel was only about 15 Min. Good price for Hotel and Parking.

    1
« Under construction and no accommodations made for the handicapped traveler. »

The hotel shuttle let the passengers off a great distance from the office and the passengers had to walk a great distance to and from the front desk. The rooms were a great distance from the desk with no consideration for the handicapped. The restaurant closed early so dinner was not available for the late evening travelers.

« Good save when airline changed flight »

Our airline cancelled our return flight due to a hurricane so when had to overnight by BWI airport. Best Western Plus gave a great rate, van pick up and next day delivery, lovely room, super shower and tremendous breakfast. We were happy to have the unexpected rest at this nearby hotel

    « Under new management, looking for a 10 »

I booked reservations for 5 rooms, a group of Navy veterans with spouses, for a 4 day weekend reunion. Our stay here provided easy access to the National Cryptologic Museum aka NSA Spy Museum, Baltimore Inner Harbor and Aquarium as well as Fort McHenry. The breakfast included in the room price was a plus, everyone did manage to do breakfast with compliments on the food and staff. Roxann was very attentive to us, while she and other staff, kept the food and coffee coming. After our day away from the hotel, the comfort of the lobby seating areas, let us sit, talk and relax as a group. On the weekend 'freshly popped popcorn' was generously provided. Coffee available all the time with hot water for tea. Staff was aware of our presence, always helpful. The 10 buttons they were wearing were a badge of honor. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the showers had plenty of space and hot water. When making the reservation I neglected to request a room for a member with special needs, the staff resolved the issue. Not knowing about the hotel prior to our stay each of us was impressed and would reserve rooms here in the future, reunion or not.

« Amazingly friendly staff and great property »

Was in for one quick night (1am arrival and leaving the next morning). EVERYONE -- from the shuttle driver to late-night check in, to the people working breakfast in the morning were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, shower head was awesome, and beds were comfy. Great property overall.

    « Awesome Stay »

I stayed for 3 nights and was a great experience. The room was beautiful and comfy. I would stay at the hotel again. We didn't experience and problems at all. The employees where all friendly and the service was awesome.

    3
    « Lousy Transportation »

Transportation is very poor at this location. This location is not as close to the airport as I thought it was. Had I known this I would have picked the other location I stayed at before. Transportation was very good there and there is a Pub right next door.

    4
« Nice economical stay, very long check in!!! »

Traveled around four hours to get to this hotel from home. I was the fourth person in line at check-in. There was only one person at the desk. She was doing the job of three people. Checking people in, answering the phone, arranging shuttle pickups at the airport and dealing with room assignment disputes. Three times she had to check with someone in the back. It took 45 minutes for me to get my card keys and there people behind me. Another person needed to be added behind that desk. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Didn't really notice much noise from neighbors. Bathroom is very small. The complimentary breakfast was good, but one of the attendants didn't understand what I wanted when I asked for Sugar free pancake syrup. Her supervisor got a packet for me when I asked her. Checkout was not as chaotic as check in and took less than two minutes.

    4
    « It was nice »

The hotel itself is very very nice, especially for the rates. The neighborhood it's in is a little sketchy but the light train is right around the corner so it's easy to get around. It's a great weekend hotel if you're going down to watch baseball or football. I would highly recommend!

    5
« overnight stay prior to flight »

We found everyone to be very helpful, personable and professional. The room was very clean. We needed transportation to the airport and we got there in a timely manner. We will need transportation back to the hotel where we left our car and they will shuttle us back.

    5
    « Before cruise »

We had a great experience at the hotel. It was very convenient for before our cruise and Donnell, our shuttle driver, was awesome and very helpful! We would recommend this hotel to others for a hassle free vacation.

    3
    « Standard hotel »

An OK hotel with comfortable rooms. Attractive rooms can use an upgrade soon. The front desk was cordial but could have been more helpful. There should have been more attention to cleaning. The breakfast was nice and the lady who took care of it was very helpful. The waffles are really great.

    5
    « Port Parking Hotel »

Great rate for staying and parking at the hotel. No issues with the shuttle to the port and back from the port. The hotel was very clean and appeared newly updated. Breakfast was well presented and served. The lady at the buffet was caring and attentive to the details of the buffet and kept everything stocked. There were no issues with the internet access.

« Best Western Baltimore Airport »

Stayed at the Best Western prior to our flight. We had stayed here in June with our daughter and grand daughters. They have really improved their service since this time. Room had shampoo, etc. which was not there when we were there in June. We had asked to have adjoining rooms with our daughter which they did not give even though they had been requested months ago. Seems they are trying harder to please the guests.

    2
« Clean but not safe »

This hotel was clean and presentable. However, the layout of the rooms is weird. Not a super big deal, but this is. Someone tried to break into our room at 3 AM. He woke both of us up, scared us by repeatedly throwing the door against the security latch, and shouting. We called down to the front desk, who said they would "check into it". No one ever called us back or came up to our room to check on us. The next morning when we checked out, they were like a deer in the headlights when we asked them about it. It was clear no one had REALLY checked thoroughly into the situation. There was no other means of security on the floor - no hall cameras or security staff in the hotel. So if you want to stay here... be aware.

    « Got everything I wanted/needed! »

The hotel is CLEAN! The decor is modern with a comfortable lobby and two spacious elevators. There is also a laundry room if needed and there is access from the back parking lot with your key card. The staff was friendly, courteous, professional and always looking for ways to please. The location is in good proximity to BWI airport and The Inner Harbor. I would definitely stay there again.

    5
« Relaxing place to stay during business trip »

I am normally up all night before flying. Cannot sleep a wink a ball of nerves before flying usually but it was so quite and relaxing to be very few miles from the airport. They just had the carpets clean, They were painting the halls. They do take pride and keep the appearance overall well. Breakfast ok, All the staff member were very nice The employees: Breakfast Attendant Woman, Front desk staff Raquan and Shala went beyond and bent over backwards with service and efforts and customer service.

« Awesome place to stay »

The Best Western Plus BWI is a beautiful hotel. The decor is modern and the staff is very professional and courteous. It was centrally located, taking just minutes to get from the Inner Harbor to the hotel. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is quiet. I slept as if I were home, that's how comfortable the bedding was. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in the BWI area to give this hotel a try.

    « Pet Friendly Hotels »

For our first trip with our dog, we found that the staff at this hotel went above & beyond in making sure our pet was welcome, but also making myself & family feel at ease as this was the first time we have taken our dog away with us <3

    1
« Horrible customer service and durty hotel »

Customer service was horrible, the front desk young woman was rude and sarcastic, and not helpful at all. The cleanliness of the hotel was non-existent. We had to change five rooms, it was a very stressful evening. We were given the first room on the fifth floor and in the hallway was a really bad cat-litter smell mixed with mold, plus air condition was not working. We went downstairs to request another room and were given a room on the second floor. The front desk representative neglected to tell us that it was a dog-friendly floor. We moved all our stuff and then heard the barking. I called front desk and explained that my son has sever allergy to pets (and the smell in general) and an asthma that can be triggered by a smell, and that they should let customers know in advance that this is a dog floor before I brought my son there. Front desk rep didn't even apologize and said that the type of room that we booked only available on fifth and second floors, but then told us to come downstairs and she will try to help us. We went down and she gave us the key to a room on the fourth floor (which she originally said did not have our room type). When we checked that room, it smelled like somebody smoked there. I went downstairs again and she gave me keys to another room already on a third floor (now they all of a sudden had rooms on that floor too with the type of room that we needed), but the room smelled like a smoke also. I kept repeating to the front desk that my son has severe allergy and asthma, and any kind of smell will trigger asthma attack, but she didn't seem to care, and her facial expression and body language clearly were showing me that she was annoyed and did not want to be bothered. She gave us the key to another room (room #5 during past hour). We went in to the room and it seemed ok, except that there were crumbs of food all over the chair/ottoman. We called to front desk and asked for it to be cleaned. She said she will call us back, but never did. My husband called again, but she still wasn't sure when (and if) somebody would be able to clean the room. We waited another hour or so, but nobody came. By that time it was already after 9 PM and kids wanted to go to bed. My husband went downstairs to ask about cleaning and the front desk rep laughed at his request and said that he "sounds ridiculous" with his request (exact words) and at this hour there is nobody who can clean the room and that we should just clean it ourselves and "not make a big deal out of it". I have to say that we travel a lot and I never in my life met such horrible sarcastic customer service. I just hope that somebody would speak to this woman.

    « Great customer service, 5 out of 5 »

Every staff member I met was friendly and professional. My first night, I had a little problem with my room, so Shala moved me to another room and inspected it personally, which demonstrated her commitment to customer satisfaction as a Best Western employee. When I returned to the hotel the second day, Alicia had cleaned and prepared my room, and it was exceptionally well done. I felt well cared for and very welcome because of the care she took with the room prep. The rooms are well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. I will stay at this hotel in the future.

« Good for the pricing »

Recently refurbished rooms noted breakfast was good. Could put a little more care in when redoing the finishes can see visible mistakes by contractor when restrooms were remodeled. Toilet clogged several times. But cannot complain for the price of the rooms. Enjoyed the conversation with employees at front desk. Shuttle service was over worked and short staffed waited 3 hours to get to the hotel because so many booked rooms and shuttle service is shared with adjacent hotel the comfort Inn. Other than that the stay was good.

    « Horrible management »

I thought the front desk was friendly and informative but I had a problem with the general manager. While sitting at the business center, I overheard her speaking to her employees. She was extremely condescending and quite rude to them. I would never ever want to work there. I overheard them call her by the name of Sharon, so if you are looking for a job or a stay where the atmosphere is a happy one, steer clear of best western plus. One day with her and I'd be looking for a new job. I honestly felt bad for her employees. #BadManagement

    « Convenient and quiet »

I stayed here for a couple of nights while I delivered my daughter to college. It's easy to find, right off 695, about a half hour from BWI airport, and has plenty of free, well-lighted parking. The rooms are spacious and clean. Nice towels and bedding. The Vietnamese restaurant downstairs is tasty; I ordered takeout and got a beer to take upstairs from the adjacent bar. I used the outdoor pool once; the water is a cool contrast to the incredible heat/humidity of August in Baltimore. The hotel is close to all of Towson's shopping options--upscale mall, Target, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and many other big box stores, which was helpful to us. We will stay here again.

    « clean, convenient »

Most affordable, convenient, clean, comfortable place to stay for BWI or Inner Harbor. Shuttle service to BWI was appreciated. Staff at desk courteous and helpful with getting to Inner Harbor; because we were close to the Light Rail they recommended we try it! Even though it was close would suggest you drive to and park at station instead of walking because of getting back late and walking so much at the harbor. Saved time and money using the rail. What an experience for us coming from an area with no rail service! Thanks to the staff!

    « Great for Overnight »

Stayed overnight on the way to our destination. It was clean and appealing with plenty of parking and polite staff. Breakfast was good, too. There was fast food across the street, but a drive of 5 minutes took us to better options.

    5
« Great for park, sleep and shuttle service »

We made last minute arrangements to stay overnight and leave our car at the Best Western so that we could take the shuttle early in the morning to the airport. We were very satisfied with the room accommodations, the breakfast and staff friendliness.

    « Bad Experience!!! »

My sister and I stayed here last year before going on a cruise and really liked it. BUT this year was totally different!!! When we got there the computers were down and no one could get a room. Everyone and their luggage was sitting in the breakfast area, total chaos. After a couple hour wait, the grave us a key. Most of the ice machines were not working, had to run floor to floor until I found a working one. I asked at check in to receive a wake up call and a ride to the airport early the next day. I called before bed to confirm and was told computers were still down, she would check and get back to me. No one did. We set our cell phone alarms and hoped for the best. We're had to leave before breakfast was served, so I can't say anything about that. We did get a ride but the hotel next door was now owned by the same owner. So, they used a bigger van to take us to the airport. We were the first ones on. They picked us several people at the next hotel. They threw the luggage on top of ours and the frame on my sister's brand new suitcase got bent. When were dropped off, we asked for the number to call to be picked back up at the end of our cruise. He didn't have any papers with it on (they did last year). He said take a picture of the number on the van. After the cruise, we called to be picked up. We said we were at Southwest. They never told us to be at a particular spot. We waited and we waited and we waited!!! We called like 3 or 4 times. Then they told us to stand at a particular spot. It was a distance away and we had 4 suitcases, 2 big handbags and a CPAP machine. I told them we could not get there. We waited 1.5 to 2 hours for our ride. We could have been on our way home. We kept watching everyone get picked up but us! And after all that, when I got my credit card statement, they charged me over double the amount!!! I called and was told the manager wouldn't be in for a couple of days. I put a dispute in with my credit card and sent them a my email conformation with the amount I should have been charged. They took the extra changed, off my bill. After quite awhile, it was approved and stayed off my credit card. Besides all this, the employees didn't seem to care about any of the problems we were having! We'll NEVER stay here again!!!!!!

    « Fine airport hotel »

Fine place to stay for the night before your early flight. Shuttle to the airport, a couple of pieces of food to grab for breakfast. Nothing special, nothing bad. Beds were pretty comfortable. Room seemed crowded.

« Late Night Stay for Early Morning Travel »

We decided to drive up the night before a family vacation for a flight in the morning out of BWI and stay at a hotel with parking. This hotel did not disappoint. Check in was easy, a lot of parking available, especially for checking in at midnight. The room was very comfortable for 4 people. Breakfast was great, fresh with staff being very attentive to keeping everything supplied. Shuttle to the airport was easy and simple. Parking was really cheap in comparison to long term parking at BWI. And they were prompt in picking us back up when we came back 8 days later, dropping us off right at are car. Definitely recommend if you will be traveling out of BWI with an early morning flight.

    « Good for a night sleep »

Good place to stay if only need a place to sleep. The front area is small and so is the breakfast area. The rooms were nice and the AC is kickin. It's off the normal path, my taxi driver got lost but it was good for having a place to sleep and take a shower. There is a pool and hot tub. There is nothing around it. B

« Inexpensive hotel, slow transportation to a ship or airport. »

Better communication and organizing for transportation. I did more of the arranging than the staff. There's a sign up but it matters little it seems. I had experienced a similar problems when I had called months before on parking and transportation with hotel staff by phone and had to get the park and ride company to straighten it out. Probably won't use this hotel again. It is closer to the dock.

« this visit was different »

A group of couples had reservations here. My husband and I checked in by a very nice person. No problems. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The elevator was slow. The parking was not good. We parked down the hill out front and had to walk quite a way with no cart available. In the bath I found a large black hair on the tub wall. The mouthwash was half full and there were two conditioners and no shampoo. It looked like it was cleaned but quickly. Then we got a text from one of the couples staying with us and when they got to their room It was un clean. Unbelievable... a second mattress on the floor with feces all over it. Sheets everywhere. We took photos to report. The hotel put this couple up in another hotel because they would not stay here. I don't blame them. The were refunded by the hotel.

« some good, some not as good »

good location to BWI with shuttle service. Small things in room needed work: light out, TV did not work, somewhat dirty floor. In the other room the AC was noisy, and upon switching rooms it did not work. Breakfast was decent: eggs, sausage, waffles, etc.

« Greatest Customer Service in a long time! »

We had such a great experience at the Best Western Plus in Baltimore! The room was larger enough to fit our family of 6 and a cat, they were clean and every employee we passed had the best customer service!

« Great Service, Clean, Comfortable Bed, Many Channels »

Comfy bed. Big screen TV with many channels - satellite. My room was a suite with jetted tub. Breakfast good. Bread products fresh. Bagels, muffins. Yogurt. Eggs are pre-made patties. Monday was bacon, other days sausage. Regular and cinnamon batter for waffle and pancakes. That area was always busy! Well stocked pantry. Shuttle service is the best managed I've ever seen. Will take you anywhere within 3 miles. Please tip them well - many don't.

« I Wanted to Write a Good Review But..... »

I have never had to write a bad review for places I've stayed so I will do my best to be positive. When I arrived at the hotel the staff was very friendly and the decor was very nice in the lobby. I was given a room on the first floor. Initially I got to my room and the key did not work. The housekeeper was gracious to grant me access to my room and directed me to the desk to get my key fixed. I went to the front desk, got my key re-coded and headed out to meet my family. I returned to my room at about 10pm took my shower and noticed a spider web in the corner of the room and light stains on the comforter. I was grossed out but blew it off and went to bed. About 3 am there were loud noised from upstairs that continued to about 7am. It sounded like someone was moving furniture and I couldn't sleep. After breakfast, I asked the staff if there was construction going on upstairs. They said "no". I notified them of the noises I heard and that I would like housekeeping to remove the spider web from the corner of the room. I then left for the day. I returned to my room about 11pm. The cobweb was still in the corner (gross)! I sighed and figured it was too late to do anything about it and got ready to shower for bed. As I got into the bathroom I noticed the bathroom had NOT been cleaned! There was no replacement of soap and the towels were laid across the towel bar. The floor of the bathroom had shoe prints that were NOT mine. It was late so I decided to report it in the morning. The noises started again about midnight and kept me from getting any sleep. I decided to check out early and sleep at my family's house. I approached the desk. The attendant asked me how my stay was. I told him I had some issues during my stay. His response? "Would you like a copy of your bill?" Huh? I DO NOT recommend this hotel at all with their current issues. I reviewed previous reviews and wish I had done so before I booked. .

    « Don't stay here »

If you are not one to read long reviews here is my review all wrapped up. WORST HOTEL EVER, DO NOT STAY HERE! Okay, so I visited Baltimore over the weekend with my best friend for crabfest. We wanted a cheap, comfortable hotel where we could be comfortable over the weekend. I am usually the planner of the group but because I was a tad busy when it was time to book the trip, my best friend booked this hotel and from the looks of things we thought this hotel would work well for our stay. Well boy were we wrong! Location: this hotel is literally in the middle of no where. Not many restaurants other than a Dunkin donut and a gas station. Not really close to the town area. The Ravens stadium, the Baltimore Major League Baseball team... I think they are called the Orioles, the pier and all the good restaurants are about a half hour away from this hotel but the location was not the deal breaker.... Please keep reading. Cleanliness: Far from clean. There was a whole in our bathroom wall that had plaster over it. It looked gross. The toilet had a redish brown rust color stain on it. The toilet paper holder literally came off the wall when you attempted to pull toilet paper from it. The sink and mirror were outside the bathroom which I found to be a tad bit odd. The water pressure was so low that you almost had to touch the sink itself to wash your hands which is gross. The carpet had stains and hair on it. The ac blew out dust. Okay you would think this would be my deal breaker but this is not even what made me so upset with this place. Customer service: The straw that broke the camel's back for this hotel was their customer service, or should I say lack there of. The first thing I did when I arrived to this dirty broken down room was asked to have my room changed. The lady on the phone said she couldn't because they were fully booked. I didn't get upset, I mean how could I. Later that night my friend and I were a little chilly in the room so we again called the front desk and asked for extra blankets; this time the woman who answered said and I quote "we don't got none". Was a little annoyed with the lack of customer service but just turned on the heat and called it a day. The next day my friend and I had left the hotel earlier in the day came back around 3pm and our room had not been cleaned so I kindly called the front desk and asked to have our room cleaned. When my friend and I returned to the hotel at 11pm the room had still not been cleaned. I again called down to the front desk and at this point I explained my frustration. The woman at the front desk then said she didn't think house keeping was there but if they had someone they would send someone up and then just hung up on me. No sorry, nothing! The thing that did it for me with this hotels lack of customer service is that when my friend and I were leaving the hotel, there was a high school football team or something of that sort staying at the hotel. The boys and their families were a little loud; however, they were teenagers and were acting as such. The cleaning people from the hotel were in the lobby telling the team "they had to go", "they needed to get out of the hotel", "they were not cleaning after them anymore", some of the cleaning girls were on their phones and some of them even started twerking (a dance where you are basically shaking your butt) in the lobby of the hotel. The hotel's employees when they saw customers were not saying good morning or hello, they were being super rude. It is because of this that I will never ever stay at another best western again.

« Nice hotel, location okay »

The inside of the hotel was very nice! It was clean and the room was very large! The bathroom especially was great! It was large and the toilet was in a separate room. The bed was comfortable. The location was convenient to the rail line which was nice. The surrounding area was not so nice though. The hallways were noisy at night. It took me a while to fall asleep because of the noise. I didn't call the main desk and I regret it. Oh well.

    « Shame »

I was very pleased with the room and the cleanliness of the hotel. My husband, kids and I checked into hotel at 11 pm. There was a bunch of people hanging out outside the hotel smoking pot. We told the receptionist upon checking in and she said the hotel is no smoking ...they are outside. Well at midnight when we settled in, my four year old asked me for the second time what that disgusting smell was. We all slept with our noses under the blanket to try to avoid the smell. In themiddle of the night, my husband and I were woken up due to the smell yet again and the noise.

    « Inconsiderate Staffing »

We arrived at the airport and requested a pickup by the shuttle. I was told as soon as I had my luggage to call again. So I did. After arriving at the pickup point, I called again only to be placed on a 7+ min hold. I finally hung up and called again and as the front desk attendant asked to place me on hold again, I said I needed the shuttle to which he replied that he would send one out right away. 30 min later I called again and he promised the shuttle was 5 min. away. 20 min later I called and he said the shuttle driver had to drop something off but that he would be there right away. Another 15 min went by and I called him conveying my frustration as I had been standing for over an hour, 7 months pregnant with two children that needed food and a bathroom. My husband called and said he wanted the room refunded and that we would seek alternate transportation as the shuttle van was finally pulling up. The front desk attendant just said, "Ok, what's the name?" and refunded the room with no apology. The shuttle driver pulled up in a 15 passenger van with three groups waiting for the shuttle. We couldn't all fit on there and by that time we were so furious we didn't want to stay at the hotel. So we told the driver and he initially threw up his hands and said that that was the way it was with shuttle buses. He later explained that we weren't the only people needing to be picked up and that he was just doing his job. Best Western Plus, at least this particular location, needs to better train their employees and learn how to schedule shuttle buses. I am so disappointed with this chain and will think twice about ever booking with them again. We certainly will never stay at this location and would strongly recommend others don't as well.

    « Perfect Over night »

We had a great experience with this hotel. They accommodated everything we needed even a late check out because our plane was not leaving until the evening. I did find the security deposit of $50 an odd rule but it went off just like they said so it was not a problem. I think the breakfast could have been a bit better but the staff were friendly and very helpful. Overall it was a great place to stay if you are leaving out of BWI!

This BWP is one of the best i have stayed at. they go far beyond what is required in a hotel. they make you feel like you are part of the family. they greet me by name, they know my room preference in advance and are always trying to go one step further trying to please me. love this hotel.

    « Don't, Just Don't »

This was a disappointing stay. Our group stayed from Saturday May 26th thru 28th. I want to start with the broken sink in our room (see photo). Other members of our group complained of no phone, unmade beds, wiring that was in view, smoke detector hanging from ceiling. Breakfast consisted of round bacon(?), hard bread for toast, and a broken microwave. Front desk staff was rude when appoached regarding issues but I must say room staff was very apologetic regarding issues. Also our group rented conference room and the first night was sent to broom closet. Unbelievable.

« Hotel OK but beware of stupid rules »

The hotel itself is adequate for the price but certainly not grand or inviting. I stayed there because of it's convenient location for my planned week. They refused to accept an urgent and important FedEx package from my office stating that it was a newly enforced management policy! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I never did receive the package my office spent some $40 to get to me asap! Never had this problem with any other hotel EVER! Won't make this mistake again!

« Not even sure where to start... »

The hotel is mostly nice in appearance but that is where it ends. The employee who checked us in seemed unsure of what she was doing, had stains on her shirt and was not wearing anything to indicate she even worked at the hotel. The room had the strangest smell, not sure if someone had smoked in it before us. We reported the smell to the desk so that we would not be charged the smoking fee. The room was very large but the bathroom was tiny. The bathroom needs to be updated as well. We noticed the refrigerator was leaning to one side and the tv did not work. This was a very short stay for us, just need to be near the airport. We will not stay again.

« Not bad but not good »

Stayed here for work for two days. The bad: Coffee while free was pretty nasty. Breakfast, while free was pretty mediocre. Nothing to get excited about. Even the pastries, which I saw them take out of a box were stale. They put a 50.00 hold on your card for incidentals even though they have no mini bar (Odd) and can't give you a receipt when you check out showing that they took the hold off. I didn't have the time nor energy to dispute but it was sort of annoying. My two small garbage cans didn't have a bag in them. Even when they were emptied, no bag. I found that odd. The good: There's a shuttle? Although I didn't use it I did see it so i guess that's a plus. Not really much nearby Ordered take-out twice. Nothing to get excited about.

    « Quick overnight »

Shuttle was quick to pick up from airport. Driver took us to rent a car near BWI the next day. Hotel staff friendly. Shower was dripping all night. Little bit of mold near shower. Again just fine for overnight. Bed sheets clean. Husband wanted extra blanket no problem.

« Very Good With Some Issues »

I chose this hotel on a two day layover for an international trip. It was a great price and had high ratings. Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay. While we were not planning on using the Maryland mass transit, we decided not to rent a car since the hotel was so close to the light rail. The light rail has easy access to the Ravens' stadium, the Orioles' stadium, the convention center and the inner harbor. The room had two queen beds and they were very comfortable. With the number of devices guests are using these days, they should provide more outlets/charging stations. I had two issues while there. First, the airport to hotel shuttle kept us waiting at BWI for 35 minutes though the staff said it would be 10 or 15 minutes. Second, breakfast should be appetizing. The waffles are good but the eggs and sausage are not. I hope they find a better solution. I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic. We stay at 30+ hotels every year. The location to Airport was very convenient, shuttle service was 1st rate, Night Manager (Raquan J.) was exceptional and breakfast was really good. Great value, super suite, great team. We'll be back next time we visit Baltimore.

« Beware the shuttle service »

This hotel was adequate and near the airport, however we ended up having to pay for a taxi both to and from the airport. We booked this hotel on the Hotelnparking.com website which clearly advertised a free 24-hour shuttle to BWI but upon checking in we were told the shuttle only starts at 6 AM and we had a 7 AM flight so the desk attendant gave us a business card for a taxi service that she said people use so obviously they do not have a 24 hour shuttle. There was also no breakfast that early. Upon arriving back at BWI we called 4 times for the shuttle and finally again called a taxi after waiting 1 hour without any sign of a shuttle. We ended up spending about $35-$40 for taxis and had no free breakfast so it would have been better to spend a little more on a nicer hotel. There are also not many places to eat dinner nearby.

    « Shuttle Stumble »

My wife and I arrived on the early evening of May 3rd for the park and fly arrangement as we had a 7:00am flight from BWI to catch the next morning. As we turned down the the covers to get into bed, we found that the sheets underneath were rumpled with the top cover pulled over them, and we wondered if they had been changed after the previous guest(s) slept there. There was no problem with the 5:00 am shuttle or the transfer of luggage and the trip to the airport went well; however, when we returned to BWI on May 10th at 9:00 pm and called the hotel for the shuttle to pick us up, we were instructed to proceed to the upper concourse and meet the shuttle at entrance 15. We had to wait at least an hour for it to arrive after having placed three calls the last of which incorrectly advised that the shuttle would arrive within 10-15 minutes. On an earlier attempted call, no one answered. While chilly, the weather was good, the crowds were reduced, and traffic was light; consequently one can only imagine the delay if the weather had been inclement or the traffic had been congested. Does the shuttle work only on an "as needed" basis during certain hours? I can only assume that it doesn't, since we needed it and it was not there. As we were standing waiting, we did note that other hotel's shuttles passed by at least 2-3 times in the interim so we were able to take note of which ones we will look into the next time we need a reliable park and fly .

« Great Buy for the Money! »

We were in town to see an Orioles' game and this was perfect! An easy 20 minute drive to the stadium and a great rate compared to hotels nearer Camden. High rise, very nice inside, comfortable beds, and a nice breakfast. Note to staff: when we arrived about 6:30 pm, first impression was a lovely lobby. Then we saw an assortment of things seemingly left behind--a mop in a corner of a seating area, a bottle of cleaning spray on a large glass accent table, and a clipboard with repair notes just sitting on a table for all to see. Little things mean a lot. We slept well and had a great experience, but the next morning we were listening to a policeman and the desk clerk discussing some incident in the early hours where they had to call the police. News to to us.

    « Cruise Shuttle »

Checked in 3 O'clock Friday for an overnight stay with cruise parking and shuttle to the port the following day. Was told at check-in that shuttle time was based on when they heard from the port when the ship was ready for boarding and that we could not sign up for the shuttle until we checked out of our rooms. We had some breakfast around 9 and around 9:45 we checked out and asked for a shuttle time. The very pleasant woman at the desk told us "it would be a short while" A shuttle had just left while we were standing there.THREE HOURS later, almost to the minute, we were getting on the shuttle. This hotel has both airport and port shuttles. The airport shuttle took a little over an hour to return for another pick-up taking two people at a time. Meanwhile there were approx. 15 people waiting for the port shuttle and there was a shuttle parked in the lot not being used. The room was fine and clean. Parking could be an issue on cruise days as late arrivals has to park along the curbs or next door at the other hotel. All employees were friendly. Special thanks to the woman who was maintaining the breakfast items that morning(4-23). She never stopped and did it all with a smile in spite of the place being packed. Leaving for a cruise--check out early and try to get the first shuttle--you never know when the next one will be.

I was visiting the Baltimore area for the first time with my two son-in-laws. We had two rooms. The facility is adequate. Some of the folks at the front desk are incompetent and have an attitude. Breakfast was poor. They ran out of food one day and had no coffee the next day.

    « worse stay ever »

We arrived a little after midnight. the front desk clerk was not going to check us in because he was mad that his relief never showed. We talked him into letting us register. When we got to the room we realized it had never been cleaned. the beds were a mess and pillows thrown about the room. I stayed by the room with the luggage while my other half went down to get another room. it took over 45 mins before he came back up with a key for another room. He had been unable to find the clerk for 30 mins. While he was waiting for the clerk to come back from where ever he had gone the lady that was checking in right after we did also came down to get another room since the room he gave her was already occupied. We finally got into the new room. There was not even a handle on the toilet. At this point it was after 1am and we were exhausted so we just went to bed. After showering the next morning the towel rack fell off the wall. In the morning we complained to the staff at the front desk. They promised that the manager would call us. 2 weeks later we did not hear anything. I wrote to the corporate headquarters. I received a response that the manager of the hotel we stayed at would call within a week. 8 days later we still did not hear anything. Corporate called on the 8th day and acted very surprised that we heard nothing. They finally offered me a 25$ gift card. This was the worse hotel i have ever stayed at. Thank goodness we only had stayed one night.

We arrived after 5pm on the Monday we were checking in, and our room wasn't ready. Then once we got into the room the TV didn't work, and neither did the phone. No refrigerator or blow dryer in room. We were moved to another room the next day, and needless to say not pleased. The shower didn't work right sprayed water everywhere, and under the bed there was so much trash we were disgusted. At check out we were suppose to get 2nd night free with rewards points, and we're charged. I still haven't gotten all the money back on your credit card. On there part they did refund the money after I complained. I just don't like this hotel but would stay in other best Western hotels. This is the worst one I have ever stayed at really.

1 night stay Pro: nice and clean hotel Room was nice and so were the beds well priced Staff were friendly free parking TV for the kids Bad: light switches in room 319 need to be changed. they are breaking and super dirty. Also the door in room 319 needs the piece that stops the door from moving all over the place when its closed. The piece were the deadbolt pushes into. Overall: nice place well worth the money will recommend to anyone.

« Worst, filthiest place ever »

Came her for a nearby conference. The room is in need of refurbishing and a good cleaning. For 2 days we asked to have the carpet vacuumed because it had broken glass when we arrived. There is a lamp on the side of the bed but no outlet. They said they couldn't give us an extension cord to use the light. This after 3 days of asking for maintenance to b sent up. The soap has a very unpleasant odor. The eggs this morn were previously frozen before they nuked them we were told. Yesterday and this morning there was no hot water for tea. When I asked for some the 2 women at the front desk said the man who drives the van is supposed to do it but he wasn't around and they didn't know how. We asked for a blanket last night and when we returned today it was gone. We were told we would have to pick it up ourselves if we wanted one. Stay away if you expect a clean room, furnishings and a wholesome breakfast or even tea.

Not a bad hotel for the price. Clean and nice staff. A big perk is Free parking when all the hotels near the casino charge 25-35 a night. Do your research on parking if you stay somewhere else . Breakfast was the typical not great salty eggs and stuff but there was some healthier things like oatmeal and fruit.

    « Not the 1970's Best Western »

The logo and name Best Western conjure (for me) images of a 70's style dark room with cigarette burned carpet and drapes. THAT IS NOT BW ANYMORE!!!! Every BW I've stayed at over the past 3 years has been great. Modern, clean rooms. Good free breakfast. Fast internet. I travel 42 weeks out of the year for work. BW has become a "Go to" choice for me. If you haven't tried, I highly recommend.

« Paid for two nights, stayed for one!!!! »

Staff were helpful and friendly. Not many of them though. No porterage Hotel was shabby. Corridors smelted of cigarette smoke, hard to understand in a non smoking hotel. The lifts smelt of something much more unpleasant. Breakfast included n price, "free". was OK. When we arrived and, the next morning, there were a number of you young women in the lobby, who didn't seem to be hotel guests and who's language was offensive and loud. We left as soon as we could. Probably OK for overnight staff, although we didn't feel safe.

« Cruise parking with no return »

The property is recently refurbished. The shower faucet was loose in the wall. Since we were only staying one night we reported it but did not ask for a different room. The shower worked ok. The reason we chose the hotel was for the cruise parking. Departure day was fine. Return day was unacceptable. After receiving a confirmation number, and waiting where instructed, we found the van loading up with no more room. After waiting almost 2 hours with no word from the hotel, we tried to call. No one answered the phone. Fed up, we took a "cab" (that itself turned into another fiasco). While very polite, the young lady at the desk claimed that she was "not authorized" to credit my account for the cab fare. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told they do not "come in on weekends". After making our expectations clear, we await a call from the manager. Will update upon resolution. Not a good ending to our vacation.

    « Insensitive staff »

We waited almost two hours for our room only to discover that rooms were available earlier and there was no need to wait. The supervisor of the cleaning staff said that she had logged in the cleaned and available rooms long ago on the computer. The receptionist hadn't bothered to check to see what was available and was waiting until 3pm to check in guests. The people working at reception made no attempt to solve the problem. The rating system on TripAdvisor isn't working properly. I rate the service as "terrible" except for the house keeping supervisor.

    « Choose a different hotel »

Stayed here recently for 3 nights. Booked online with a "no cancellation" policy. One person working at front desk, and 7 people in line with the phone ringing at the same time. Finally got into room. At first glance it was ok. Then, noticed large blood dropping on carpet in front of sink....., and found two Heineken bottle caps on carpet under desk. Clearly not cleaned well from the prior guest. Worst part was that the connecting door to the next room would not close as the deadbolt was broken and in the locked position but the door was open. Tried to get a different room, but once again the desk clerk was overwhelmed by the line of people checking in, so waited for the maintenance man to come and fix the lock. He did replace the lock on the door. Heard other people the next morning talking amongst themselves about problems with their rooms as well. My recommendation, choose a different hotel.

« Left my jacket and have been calling for the past 3 weeks... »

Stay was satisfactory (cheap hotel, don't expect anything extraordinary). But customer service has been poor. I left my jacket in the closet (my mistake) and called the hotel many times to - check that they have it (yes, after 3 phonecalls) - was told they will mail it back to me (gave contact and mailing details) - no news for 1week and called back again. Now they said I have to go back to pick it up or arrange a courier pick up on my own. They don't do mailing. They don't know where the jacket is now, need to check again - called again to check where the jacket is. Was told that jacket with contact details are with manager. Manager will call back within 1hour to get details of courier we are arranging to pick up. No one called back. - called again. No one seems to know what happened to the jacket. Need to locate it and will call me back. No one called back. I checked out on 13th March and the jacket is a dark blue Calvin Klein down jacket which cost more than $100. Yes, I know it is my mistake and the cost of the jacket is more than what I paid for my 1 night stay at the hotel. At the very least, I expected the hotel to be responsive and help facilitate the return of my jacket. I can't send UPS to pick it up if the hotel still cannot confirm that they have it? Or someone stole it and is keeping real quiet about it. Disappointing. Stay if you have to, just don't leave anything behind. Check and check and check again before you leave.

« Nice hotel. Reasonably priced. »

We booked this hotel at the last minute. Nice quiet location. Very pretty and our room was very clean. Tiny rooms and extremely small bathroom. Our bathroom fan did not work. You are allowed to bring your pet and they charge $20 for the stay, which was great - not each night like some other hotel chains. This is more of a business type hotel- we saw a lacrosse team and a lot of company business people there, a lot of conference rooms throughout the building. Clean washer/dryers on 2nd fl. Nice, clean small gym and the breakfast was decent- eggs, sausages, waffle maker, pastries etc. Free wifi and computers on main level. There is a gazebo in the back of the hotel. Right next door is the Comfort Inn hotel. Front desk people were accommodating. You literally can walk to a Checkers fast food that is right across the street and a plaza across from there has a Chinese restaurant (great food) and other stores. Easy access to the highway to get downtown and to the Inner Harbor. The price was reasonable - approximately $90 per night.

    « Great hotel »

I arrived late at night after my flight got delayed. Erin at the front desk was so helpful and got me checked in quickly and happily. My only complaint was the parking lot was very full. Took awhile to find a parking spot. But overall great

    « Unsatisfactory Stay »

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip. It was our selected hotel for the weekend. The rate was promoted for $89 but it jumped to over $100 upon check in. One of the front desk staff members had no idea that my event was even happening. Once he figured it out, he honored some of the price and allowed my entire group to stay on one floor (how nice). When I walked in the room, I was greeting by a broken bed, my co worker was greeted by a broke remote control and broken light in the bathroom. The change to the room was a smoothe process but unfortunately I was greeting in my room by stained carpet and a broken bathroom door. Across the hall, there was a broken dead bolt lock. In the morning, we asked for extra towels and it took them an hour to call us back just to tell us that our towels were ready but we had to come and get them. Where's room service?? Breakfast was greasy and dry but the waffle maker was cool. This hotel looks nice but it is just a figment of our imagination. It was a waste of money.

« Need to ask to have your room cleaned? inconsistent service. »

During our stay we found the service inconsistent - some staff were outstanding and others, particularly at the front desk, acted as if they had something better to do than attend to a customer. The most unusual event that occurred was on the second day of our stay when we returned in the late afternoon and found our room had not been cleaned. The front desk informed us that the room had not been cleaned because we had NOT REQUESTED the service. When pressed, the front desk attendant insisted that this was a new policy in their hotel as some guests preferred that their rooms not be cleaned. As i listened to this I thought I was in an alternate universe. Needless to say we will not be returning to this property.

    « for a cruise »

all went well with the stay and transportation. the staff was very helpful in directing us in our run around of the area. When we returned from the cruise, they send the shuttle asap to get us back to the hotel to pick up our car. They also let us have a breakfast, and wished us a good journey home.

    « Good deal »

Would stay here again for sure. Clean rooms and friendly staff. I would recommend to someone traveling to the area in need of a hotel. Free parking for the duration of my vacation to Disney was a definite plus.

« DO NOT STAY HERE »

I never write a review on anything bad or good so this is taking me alot to do. My boyfriend and I went to see a show in Baltimore on 2/12/16. We arrived to the hotel at about 11:15p.m. that Friday night. A very long story short, they overbooked this hotel and had no where to put anyone. During the day, they were sending people to other hotels around but by the time we arrived all those hotels were booked. She magically found a room in their hotel after 40 minutes of waiting. We went in and it was SO GROSS. The light didn't work when you first walked in, bed had stains, sink faucet was completely out and there was a HUGE stain with hair on the bed. We walked right back out and said we weren't staying there. The female at the front the whole time before and after was completely rude and unprofessional. I have been trying to talk to a manager for weeks and no one calls me back. They made a mistake and over booked and we had to deal with that and find our OWN hotel and pay for that as well. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT come here.

The property underwent renovation so I was very pleased! The staff is helpful and I had a wonderful time here. Will be back again sometime in the future, and would definitely stay here over some of the other properties :)

    « Loved it! »

My wife and I were there for one night and we have no complaints at all! The staff was friendly and efficient, the decor was kind of retro but not old, and we did not smell any smoke mentioned in other reviews. Noise level was not an issue and we had rooms on either side. Breakfast was OK (Hey--free hotel breakfasts are NOT gourmet cooking, got that?) Room was spacious. Special kudos to front desk supervisor Cierra and shuttle supervisor Donnell, both of whom provided fast and great service, My only negative was that there seemed to be a lack of enough luggage racks to take stuff to and from the room. But if you only have a suitcase or two, no big deal. Location is great for access to restaurants, shopping, and interstate connections, too.

    « Just Alright »

Pros: Heat worked well, mini fridge, nice TV, good location to airport and Dunkin Donuts, and easy check-in. Cons: Walls were VERY thin---could hear people all the time. Covers were VERY thin--can't really call it a cover--more like a light fleecy blanket. Only one trash bin and it was in the bathroom. Parking was so limited, people were creating their own spots in the lot. The toaster at breakfast was very slow. Ice machine on 4th floor didn't work. Key card stopped working on the second day and front desk had to give us a new one. Just a lot of little inconveniences that added up to a headache. I did get a really cheap rate on Hotwire, but I guess you get what you pay for. This place is alright if you just want a place to sleep for a night or two.

    3
« Friendly staff but a lot of cigarette smell in the halls and common areas »

A reasonable breakfast and nice people. The room was large (king suite) and had a frig (but no freezer) and microwave. The window didn't open but there was a window-mounted air conditioner. They seemed to be running out of things: spare blankets, coins for the laundry, laundry detergent, and sundries in their little store.

    « Fairly Good Hotel »

Overall good hotel. Nice location right off major freeways. Breakfast not so good, no pool or whirlpool.... Which leaves no recreation at hotel. Rooms very quiet, clean, and roomy. I will definitely stay here again ONLY if not spending much time indoors due to no recreation. It's a good "pass through "hotel.

    « Best Western Baltimore »

Check in was real easy. The shuttle service to and from the airport was very good. The same for the shuttle service to the cruise terminal. The breakfast was well prepared and good. The only problem is that there is no restaurant nearby. A Checkers hamburger place is across the street and we used it for lunch, but called for a room delivery at night.

    « friendly »

We cruised out of Baltimore. Stayed here the night before, used the parking lot to leave our car and they shuttled us to the port. The place was very clean and friendly. The staff was extreamly pleasently and helpfut.

    « comfortable »

i had a suite w/jacuzzi. i had a very comfortable night, and everything worked well! we had a high definition telivision, that that was sweet(get it)? All the staff seemed very nice and treated us well. Breakfast was very average...basically a grab and go.

    « Decent Experience »

My three friends and I checked into this hotel before a flight out of BWI. I had pre-booked the room on their website but when I arrived it seemed as they didn't have our reservation. Nonetheless they figured it out and gave us a room with a big king bed and a pull out sofa. Hotel - The hotel offers transportation to and from the airport for free and they also allow you to park your car at the hotel while you are gone. They were extremely punctual and professional. This was much better than having to pay a fortune for airport parking. No issues with the room. It was clean and had everything we needed. The location is about ten minutes from the airport but it is kind of in a shady part of town. I would definitely stay here again before a flight with my buddies but probably would be hesitant about bringing a family.

    « Trapped......Horrible Experience »

This trip was a dream trip for a class of 5th graders. We booked 16 rooms (14 needed to be adjoining) all the way back in August using a travel agent. We had all paperwork and confirmation numbers and proof of deposits. We arrived at 9:30 pm to find that they had only two rooms adjoining. Obviously this is unacceptable due to the need of chaperones for each group. When this was brought to attention of front desk, we were treated with inept and uncaring service (or lack of). Sierra was rude and instead of helping resolve our problem, she kept checking others in and leaving us to wait. After quite some time, we were able to get some of them in adjoining rooms. AT ANOTHER HOTEL! Unbelievable. It is not like we walked in at 9:30 w/o a reservation. They had 6 months to plan! Some of the teachers ended up sleeping on rollaway cots to be near the kids to keep them safe. The staff at BW did not have any thought of safety for these children. They seemed to deal with the issue like it was a bus load of adults that can be on their own. The following day we were to meet the general manager (Josie Foster) at 6:30 am to get all fixed before we left for our DC tours. She did not show. She did not return any messages. It is now 3 days later, we returned home late last night and have STILL NOT HEARD FROM HER!! As you can tell from my profile, I travel for a living. This is far and away the worst hotel experience I have encountered. We were pawned off on assistant GM Ralph Shorter who told us he was going to figure it out and get back to us. We never heard from him. They had 3 points of contact with our group. Nothing. But they sure were quick to charge the credit card on file for the whole amount. Please, please read other reviews if you do not believe the poor service at this property. Stay away!! We will never use BW anywhere for class trips or my business travel again.

« Desk clerk was very unprofessional. Waited 1 hour at BWI for pick up! »

We came back from Cancun, arrived at BWI at 8:00 pm. It was 40 degrees and we just had light jackets on while we waited outside in the cold, for the van. When I called again after 1/2 hr. The desk clerk said the van had been around twice, but there were 6 of us watching for it and it was never there. He said he would send it around again. 15 minutes later I tried to call again. The phone just rang and rang. I tried 7 times, twice he picked up the phone and hung up! Finally after 1 hour he showed up! We were freezing!

for the price this hotel is the best expenditure a business could make. the room , internet, breakfast, all in one price and an unbeatable price. the beds are the most comfortable. the rooms are large and cater to a business person who needs to work in their room at night. the staff will do anything you ask.

« Terrible Hotel nad Part of Town »

This place was so filthy! It was old and out dated. The lobby was renovated so you could think you were in a nice place. The carpet was dirty and the staff knew nothing about the immediate area. The shuttle was also in the shop I was told so it could not take us anywhere. The reviews online are great because I would say the young people in the area must love it for a night out of partying.

    « Stay and Fly »

2-17-16 Rm 305 Best Western This is a very nice room, quiet and comfortable. I did hear a door shut once I was up so quiet depends on your neighbors. Stayed here as a stay and fly: stay one night park 7 days. Left at 4am so I did not have time to try the breakfast. Before I stayed I called and had some questions answered by Shana. Check in was also with Shana who I found to be a very helpful and delightful young lady. Sarah or Erin checked me out but was also very nice. The hotel is older is located in an older neighborhood not far from BWI and reminds me of some the older Holiday Inns and is priced accordingly. It also reminded me of my Marriot room in the USVI at 4 times the cost. Of course location means everything.

« Great Hotel, but service with this particular staff member was not pleasant. »

If it wasn't for the fact that I had booked my reservation online, I would of gone somewhere else. Ciarra, who is known to be the supervisor and the one who checked me in was extremely rude. She had no smile on her face, when I was asking questions about the facility, her face expression when answering the questions were as if she didn't want to be bothered. I checked in for five days and the very next days, and during the later part of my staying, Shayna, Aaron and Charleene made it better. They were extremely nice. They went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were well taking care of comfortably. Thank you guys.

We arrived after traveling from Panama to visit family and we were dead tired the young women at the front desk Erin was awesome gave us a great room gave us the run down of the hotel all that we needed to know . « Decent hotel but terrible service »

The hotel and room were nice for the price although our room had a broken towel and TP holder that had obviously been that way for a while. Big problem was the airport shuttle service. Called the hotel upon arrival for the shuttle and waited an hour before having to call an Uber. Tried several times during the hour to call the hotel but no one answered...

    2
    « Bad service »

When we got to the hotel, they made us wait 45 minutes for the room. When we did get the room, there was hair on the pillows and in the sheets. When we asked for new sheets, they didn't offer to help make the bed. Also, there was still fecal matter in the toilet, and the shampoo/conditioner was not replaced.

    « Worst Stay Ever!!!! »

My girlfriend and I were looking to experience a relaxing weekend so we booked at the Best Western Plus Bwi. It was a nightmare from check-in to check-out. The system was down so we had to check in manually which made the check-in process longer and more complicated. After the long check-in process,we went to our room and the sheets had stains on them. It was a automatic turn off, so we went back to the front desk requesting for a new room. While waiting in line another customer came down upset about their room and stated as they swiped the key for their room the door handle fell off. My girlfriend and I decided this was not the place for us so we wanted to cancel our reservation. Since we booked thru hotel.com we had to first contact them first. When we contacted hotel.com they explained to us that we could cancel as long as the hotel gave us the ok. Rodney who was the front desk clerk at the time informed me that the phone lines were down so hotel.com would have to contact him on his personal cell. Hotel.com explained to us that he would have to provide certain information for security reason such as the hotels address and hotel id number which he provided the incorrect information for all the above. We then went over to the comfort inn because we were told that both hotel were under the same umbrella of management and maybe it would be a little better over there. We then came in contact with a front desk rep name Julian. All I can say is the worst the worst the worst front desk rep ever!!!! He lied to me and my girlfriend and told us ge did not know the name of the rep over at best western when we asked to provide it because of the worst customer service experience from both agents. THIS HOTEL IS THE WORST PLACE EVER TO STAY!!!!

« Needs a serious rework -- okay for just a room stay »

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for an evening prior to the departure for vacation and used the hotel's park, sleep, and stay feature by booking directly through the Best Western website. Staying here provided a stressful beginning and end to our otherwise amazing trip. Here are my concerns (and where possible, compliments): Shuttle -- The shuttle experience is what ultimately would prevent us from staying here again. On our way to the airport we reserved a shuttle for early morning. They called the room a half hour before our departure and we said we'd be down. We arrived downstairs five minutes before scheduled departure only to find out that the shuttle had left. The front desk manager was extremely apologetic and secured a cab, but it meant that we were later than expected to the airport and had to take on curbside check in because we were late. On the way back from the airport, we tried calling the hotel to get in touch with the shuttle. I ended up calling the 800# for customer service to try and get them to contact the manager. Pretty much every other hotel shuttle circled us twice before our shuttle arrived. This is not the hotel to stay in if you want reliable shuttle service to the airport. Hotel Environment -- The front desk manager was kind and the check in process fairly seamless. The hotel lobby smelled of smoke that probably has permeated the hotel for decades; luckily the rooms did not have this challenge. And, unfortunately, breakfast was not out early enough to take advantage of it. Hotel Room -- The hotel room was clean -- small but comfortable. If I were judging the hotel room alone, I would consider staying here again though there were still some issues. We paid for a rate where we were supposed to have certain things stocked in the room like drinks and snacks, but that's a matter of choosing another rate. We also did not receive adequate bath linens and had to use a hand towel for a floor mat. Best Western Plus is a hotel chain that I've stayed at many times. Internationally, it is a grand hotel and might even be considered on the edge of a luxury hotel. This experience was almost the exact opposite of what we knew before. A real disappointment and a real mispresentation of the brand.

« No way to run a hotel »

I booked this hotel because it was supposed to be close to BWI along with an airport shuttle. We did have a blizzard in the Baltimore area but by Sunday the major roads were completely clear. I took the Bay Runner shuttle to BWI airport Sunday afternoon. I get to the airport and call the hotel for the shuttle and they the shuttle is not running due to the snowstorm, I saw the roads here are all clear--bottom line, no shuttle I take a cab to the hotel for $20 and the hotel makes no offer for some type of adjustment to my bill. The desk clerk tells me I got ripped off as the fare should have been $11. I ask for a 4:40 am wake up call and a 5:00 shuttle to the airport as I am on a 6:20 am flight to Tampa. The next morning I wake up at 4:49 am as my alarm is going off and I hear the phone. I must has overslept due to the fact that I am hard of hearing. I get a call a few minutes later from the front desk saying ..."are you coming down for the shuttle?" I say I am get dressed and packing up. I get another call from the desk asking if I am on my way, and I say YES. I get down to the lobby at 5:04 and I don;t see the shuttle and I ask where is the shuttle and the desk clerk says they left. I ask, why did it leave I told you I was on my way down. Reply.."it was for 5:00 sir." The desk clerk was rude, obnoxious, and had no customer service skills and was actually yelling at me. The female manager (with tattoos and piercings) who came out in her pajamas after hearing all the shouting back and forth tried to smooth things over, but was of no help. The next shuttle was scheduled for 5:30, however it did not get to the hotel until 5:40. So much for the punctual schedule of running on the half hour. Absolutely the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I barely made my 6:20 flight.

    « Very cozy environment! »

The location of the hotel is no more than 5 minutes from the airport which was convenient for me since I arrived late and just wanted to sleep. The service was excellent, very friendly staff. I have no complaints about this hotel!

    « Great hotel »

I was very surprised to see how nice this hotel is and the price that I paid. Everything is in working condition, nice tv with tons of Direct TV channels , a nice table that served great for dinner and comfortable bed. The room is clean and the staff is very friendly, they do need to provide a jacket for the hotel key with the room number on it, I had to return to the desk because I forgot the number. I'll definitely return to this hotel.

    « Sleep, Park, Fly »

Our family stayed at BW, BWI before a very early flight to Denver for a ski trip. We left just before the "Big Snow, Jan 2016" We dreaded what we would find on our return, Mounds of snow on our cars and in the parking lot. But NO! All three cars were cleaned of snow, the little mound behind my tiny sports car was quickly cleared by a Bob Cat zipping around the parking lot. Superior service.Friendly and prompt Airport Shuttle.

« Average accomidations, excellent customer service- Great Value »

We stopped here to take a driving break and were pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff was. There was an issue with the rooms smelling like smoke on the first floor which was taken care of immediately by the night manager Aaron. He gave us the best rate for the evening, upgraded our room to a suite, and knocked the pet deposit off the total. It's not the nicest of hotels, (the sink was broken when we got to the room) but the room was quiet, they allowed us to bring our cat, and we were able to recharge for the long drive home.

« Pre cruise hotel stay »

Stayed here prior to going on a cruise we booked this hotel because it offered free shuttle from the airport and to the cruise port. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was average and the shuttle service was good. The only complaint was there were no sit down restaurants close to the hotel. There is a drive thru checkers and a small dunkin donuts but no real food.

    1
    « Very poor quality »

The only thin that was halfway decent here was the breakfast, which wasn't that great anyway. Housekeeping is lazy and the staff is rude. This needs to be addressed and fixed asap, for the price I paid there is no excuse for not having decent housekeeping or maintainence staff. The room was dirty upon check in, the hot water didn't work, the girl at the front desk the day we checked in was not helpful in the least and told us that we would just have to stay in the filthy room. Never coming Jere again. Ever.

    3
    « bathroom area »

The room was good, but the rest room in the first two rooms had a mold issue. The staff was extremely professional and polite. Had knowledge of how to make the guest feel comfortable. The kitchen staff was simply put excellent.

« Thay don't care about the customer »

The airport shuttle does not stop at the Southwest Hotel pickup. You will have to walk for about a 1/2 mile to get picked up. Good luck with you luggage you will need a cart or help from one of the porters.

    4
    « Nice hotel »

This is a very nice hotel, I would stay here again. If you get stuck in your room because of bad weather, the tv has a large channel selection. It does offer free breakfast, but nothing else. There are places to drive to eat at. They do offer a Shuttle 3 miles within the hotel, that does include the airport.

    « Best Western Plus »

this hotel is located near the airport. the hotel because of the staff is as good as the other hotels in the area but half the price. the rooms are clean and up to date, the lobby is well taken care of and the free breakfast is absolutely the best, and it is free. Anything I have asked for has been given immediately. The staff truly is there to take care of the customer.

« Will not stay here again »

We stayed here for 6 days. Received maid service twice. Had problems connecting to the internet several times even after they gave us the correct access code. Had problems with finding a parking place. Ice machine on 3rd floor has been broken way to long. Beautiful room but staff has real attitude problems. Towel bar in bathroom falls off the wall. TV good. Beds comfortable. No tray to hold coffee pouches in pot.

« Always a great stay at the best western plus! »

I never have any problems here and this has become like a second home when I have to come into town to get my cancer treatments and follow ups. The staff here is wonderful and make sure you have everything you need. The breakfast in the morning is great, with plenty of options and hot breakfast! Housekeeping staff is super sweet and make sure you have everything you need, and the front desk clerks are professional and very kind. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I am here, its a great place.

    « Cruise pit stop.... »

Great location to stay if cruising with Carnival. Parking is great, hotel staff supportive. Shuttle takes you to the peer and picks you up. Saves on parking cost. Pick up was a little delayed and it was only three of us, but just a 20-30 minute wait. Great weather and that was good...Bad weather and it would have been really bad...

    « Nice Park & fly »

We booked a park and fly room here. the hotel was clean and had a great free breakfast. It also allowed us t park free for 10 days and shuttled us to and from the airport. The rate was reasonable and cheaper than parking at the airport. we had a good night's rest as the room and bed were very comfortable and quiet and clean. They also do a cruise and fly which we will take advantage of in the near future. Nice facilities of a pool and gym with a very good restaurant in the same parking lot.

« Worst cruise shuttle ever!! »

We stayed here at the end of November, pre cruise. There were a lot of others doing the same and it was fun meeting those we were going to sail with and made new friends. The hotel itself was nice and clean, breakfast was adequate. The shuttle itself was a nightmare. We were told to just be in the lobby about 10a to start loading. When we got there, they were giving out numbers, and then in that number group they were also going by room numbers. We were in group 10 but there were at least 3 groups of number 10, based on your room number. We didn't get on the shuttle until 1p! The latest I've ever boarded the ship. It was mass confusion from the start. I would stay at the hotel again but next time we'd take a cab!

« Good place to stay before a cruise »

We stayed at the Best Western the night before a cruise because we wanted to leave our car there rather than at the cruise port where it would be more expensive. The hotel allows your car parking there for 10 days and has a free shuttle to and from the port. The hotel was very nice with comfortable beds and a decent breakfast. The staff was very friendly, from the front desk staff to the breakfast lady.

    5
    « Very Nice place »

My room was very nice with a good breakfast. There was an Irish pub next door to the hotel with great beer and good food. The location is convenient to Baltimore / Washington airport and also allowed me to park my vehicle there for 3 weeks. All included in the price of the room. I would definitely stay there again.

    1
« Disappointing to say the least »

Really quite a ripoff, if you book a reservation in a particular room and they give that room to someone else they blame it on the customer for not booking properly, as if they are not responsible for their relationships with booking sites. I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel and any other of the Best (ha!) Western properties until they learn to become professional and accountable to customers. The BWI area has plenty of excellent hotels, choose another. By the way, I think they rent out their parking to those who are traveling from the airport because most times their huge lot is full and you have to park at a neighboring hotel. Really a shame that this hotel is in business the way it treats paying customers.

    5
    « Airport stay »

Very clean and enjoyable place to stay. We had a park and fly package and all employees were very professional and courteous. The internet signal was excellent and the breakfast bar as well. It is very close to the airport and they give free shuttle service every 30 minutes.

« Best Western PLUS gets an A+ »

I was surprised at how nice the Best Western PLUS locations are compared to the standard locations. They have everything upgraded...thus the name "PLUS." This was one of about 8 or so hotels I stayed at on a cross country drive and this was one of my favorite. Room are well decorated and clean. The entire hotel just seems new. Everything about made for a nice stay at the hotel is reasonably priced.

    3
    « Average airport hotel »

Staff was friendly at check-in and checkout, but the hotel itself was nothing special. Room was clean enough, but the toilet made a horrible noise when flushed and the TV/satellite signal wasn't working. Serves its purpose though if you just need a place to sleep for a night.

    5
    « Amazing customer service »

The check-in lady went above and beyond to find us local restaurants, train station information and even provided a brochure. the gentleman at the breakfast line ensure we ate even though we were 20 mins passed last call for breakfast. Recommend 100%!

    « Just satisfactory »

As seasoned travelers, I have to say this was one hotel to remember...in a negative way. First, upon arrival, we were nicely told we could not check in before 3:00PM despite the fact that we got there half an hour early. We chose a room with jacuzzi/jet tube and it was not working. I had to fix the spout and access the closet to fix the pump myself. Extremely noisy as we thought people walking in the hallway were inside the room. The complimentary breakfast was very poor and without many options. This hotel was remodeled recently and yes, the room was nicely decorated and clean. Staff were nice, but for the price we could have stayed at the Hilton.

« Very Friendly, Helpful Staff »

Stayed at the Best Western BWI in October before a cruise. A little concerned about a Best Western property as they can go either way; very good or not so good. We thought this Best Western was very good! EVERY staff member from the shuttle drivers to the guy who ran the kitchen was very friendly and helpful. Clean, well maintained property with a great breakfast. Perfect pre-cruise location that won't cost a fortune. With out a doubt, we will stay here again on our next visit to Baltimore!

The room was very nice. One problem with the sink stopper but the maintenance man fixed it right away. Worth the money to stay there. Girl at front desk was very good but was a little testy one time. We will be back next yer

« Courteous Staff, Phone and Noise Problems »

My wife and I stayed at this hotel twice in late October/early November. We have stayed at this property a number of times since it has been renamed as a Best western. Very few problems on previous stays. The front desk staff was always courteous. Antonio was great. Also enjoyed visiting with Donnell the van driver who we've met in the past. On our first stay we had a problem with reaching the front desk during our 3 day stay. On one weekend night there was a lot of noise in the hall and at 1am some idiot broke the head off the sprinkler system I was told and the fire alarm emptied the hotel. On the 2nd stay, we had another phone problem. We could not receive calls from anyone. Antonio had to send someone to our room on several occasions to advise us that someone was trying to reach us. It was finally fixed after several attempts. Also had a noise problem on a weekend night. As an experienced traveler, I understand that it is very difficult to control noise problems. The staff did the best that they could. The week nights were perfectly quiet. The general manager, Paul Masai, was very helpful. We were upgraded to a suite. We will stay at this hotel in the future as it is ideally located for us. Rooms are updated and clean. I gave it a 4 star rating even with the problems that we encountered. Ask for a room in rear of hotel. Little Ottsie

    « Good hotel »

This is a good hotel. Once we arrived by train (from D.C.) into the train station, I called the hotel for us to be picked up. The complimentary shuttle arrived in a timely manner. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We reserved a room for 4 people, but the room was not equipped with enough towels. The front desk person gladly supplied me with more towels. The shower in the bathroom was a bit unexpected, as there was no bathtub. But the water pressure was fine. The room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was pretty standard. One exception was, we were offered a fried egg and sausage patty. The fried egg...it was more of a McDonald-style fried egg, than what you would expect if you were to cook it at home...but it was edible. The pastries were not very tasty; the bread portion being stiff. There is a waffle maker, which in addition to the milk, was the best offering. Pretty basic offering; if you have a sensitive stomach, probably better to pass on it. The scheduled airport shuttle was 10-15 minutes late - maybe the shuttle is used for more than this hotel(?), as it drove up from around the side of the building with other passengers inside already. But we arrived at the airport with plenty of time to make our flight.

« Perfect hotel to stay at when you are flying out of the Baltimore Airport. »

We utilize this hotel because of the shuttle to and from the airport and our ability to leave our car in their parking lot while we are on vacation. Do have a free continental breakfast in the AM. Only negative comment was that when I asked for a wake up call, we never did get it. thank goodness I have an internal clock in my mind and we woke up in time.

Front desk was very helpful with directions and shuttle service was very professional. perfectly located to take the rail to M&t Bank stadium to see the game. We have been to different Best Westerns and this one was one of the better hotels. allowing us a early check-in was very appreciated.

« Best Western needs to revamp customer service »

Parking rate quoted was increased upon check in. No dinner services available at hotel.....only Checkers across the street which had no eat in option. Teenagers were allowed to run wild, screaming until amost 10pm. Pick up van service from BWI was poor.

« Nice place to stay by BWI »

I was bumped from my flight and put up at this hotel. The shuttle driver was courteous and friendly, as was the staff at the hotel. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit outdated, but everything was clean. I cannot comment on the breakfast, as my flight left too early in the morning. It seems like many airport personnel stay here as well.

« AVOID at all costs! »

My experience was horrific. We were not permitted to even check in upon our arrival at noon. So, we went to our event and returned at 9:00 pm. The first room we were given had bugs on the bed and on the wall. The second one was not yet made up. The 3rd through 6th rooms were occupied when we opened the doors!! Then, they had no more rooms available and directed us next door to the Comfort Inn, which was another fiasco and will make for another review. Oh, and while I spent too much of my life at their front desk, person after person stopped by saying that their swipe key wasn't working. Front Desk just asked their room number and gave them another swipe key - didn't ask their name or for identification, nothing. Yikes!

    « Distruptful Honeymoon Night »

Waited nearly an hour for return van for pickup at cruise port. Hallway of hotel very noisy and disruptive from about a dozen children running, yelling, and banging on doors for several hours. Called office to notify but didn't stop. Not really the hotels responsibility but the lack of adult supervision. Perhaps if a hotel personnel went and checked out the situation they would have behaved better. One of the worst hotel visits regards to noise and unable to sleep.. Room was called a suite only because it had a sofa in it. Not a good way to spend your first honeymoon night

« Perfect for staying in Baltimore/Airport area »

Clean and comfortable. Great continental breakfast (as with all B/W hotels). Room is a little tight, but the moveable desk on wheels helps make it much better than other small-room hotels. Access is easy and location is perfect. Uphill parking allows second-floor rooms to be accessed as easily as first-floor. Beds are comfortable and there are plenty of pillows (!!)

    « Top Notch Staff »

More than 120 of us descended upon the Best Western Plus during the Pope's visit to Washington DC and they were delightful to us and very accommodating. Even when we all came down for breakfast nearly at the same time, they were kind, courteous and did their best to serve us. Thank you for the terrific service!

« Great cruise and stay hotel »

The hotel was clean, breakfast was good, staff was wonderful, especially Donelle who drove the van to the port. We didn't have to touch a bag and when we returned, he was right there after our call. It is nice to know also that our car is safe while we are gone.

Average Hotel. Nice lobby and room is average and clean but is what should be expected for the value. Not the best neighborhood and limited dinning options within a short distance although Burger place across the street was good. It is close to the Airport so that is a bonus for traveling for business.

    « Dirty »

We stayed here for one night and I will never stay again. The room had clearly not been cleaned when we got there. We had dirty pillow cases with hair on them, and the bathroom was awful. I have provided pictures here to show. The toilet was stopped up and the shower had not been cleaned in probably months. The shower was also clogged and had built up scum all over the walls. As well as dirt and soap scrum in all of the soap holders in the shower. We thought maybe it was a stain so we wiped it with a towel and some of it came right off. So it was just pure laziness on the hotels part. I have never written a review before but felt I needed to after this stay. I mentioned this to the front desk staff and showed her the pictures and she told me there was nothing she could do except tell the manager. Did not seem to care at all and was very unprofessional.

    « Good Shuttle Service »

The shuttle service from the hotel to the port was great. John L, our shuttle driver, did a great job of loading the shuttle and getting us to the port in a timely and worry free manner. The hotel stay wavs great and the hot breakfast was very good.

Room and staff were great . . .shuttle to the airport at 4:30AM(!!) was on time and driver was very courteous and friendly. Only issue is finding a good restuarant close by . . but did find a great seafood restaurant about 3 miles away (G & M) but phone ahead for a reservation as it was busy even on a Wed. night.

    « Excellent Hotel »

We stayed at the BWI Best Western Baltimore MD at the beginning and the end of a trip out to Yellowstone. It made an excellent place to stay over the night before our flight and the weekend at the end of our trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, even upgrading our room when our third party booking site failed to send the necessary paperwork. My only complaint was the room service knocking on our door at 9 a.m. but this is perhaps because we failed to place our Do Not Disturb sign out.
