    « Very Well Located »

Best Western 2000 Hotel Ankara is situated in city center and easily reachable, if you are entering in Ankara by Bus and wants to come to this hotel from central bus station, taxi may cost you 20 -25 Turkish Lira from Airport it cost 90 -100 Lira by taxi. Hotel is very well situated in city center and most fashionable are of Ankara which is called ?Kizilay? which is full of Shopping and dining outlets is hardly 20-25 minute walk (02 km) from this hotel. Room is just ok in size, at least not very small and comes with all amenities, tea and coffee making facility also available in the room. Hotel also offer complementary water bottle. There is a small table with two chairs in the room which makes room congested and difficult to walk. Staff if friendly but I notice it is not common in staff to understand English, mostly they communicate in their language. The Best part of the hotel is Breakfast a wide range of Items and beautifully décor. I was there on 14th November and as it was winter season there were very less guests at hotel. It is an easily accessible hotel, you can get a taxi from here to Anitkabir (the tomb of Mustafa Kemal, the founder of Modern Turkey) for Approx 25 Lira There are dozens of dining outlets, mostly Turkish food, i=in the same street and few bars and restaurant, also a night club is located in just front of hotel. There is also a 24 Hours open Taxi stand in front and a daily mini market. In General, this is a good hotel for short stay, I don't mind staying here again.

« Basic hotel close to good restaurants »

Is a very basic hotel, but cozy and clean. It's near a lot of good restaurants - more than 10 are easily accessed. Price is very good and offers a good night sleep. Has a small market in front of it and a gas station on its side.

« Good value for your money »

I have stayed at Hotel 2000 several times, alone on business trips as well as with family members. Its location is very convenient, close to embassies and business offices. There are several restaurants, bars and fast food joints nearby. The staff is very friendly and the service is really good.

« Good and great location »

I had been in Ankara to do something with Canadian Embassy, so i chose a place nearby the embassy! From visa department it was just 10 mins walk to this hotel. the hotel room was really clean and good, wifi internet was also good. And it is more or less 20 min walk to city center. All around the hotel are nice restaurant.

I've stayed at this hotel for3 nights. It was clean hotel with nice staffs the only problem I had was my room window whic didn't lock probaly but the weather was nice so it was not a must. The location was good, near the usa embassy. Also near the resturants and bars. They have also brought me Iron with table Iron free of charge and if you need you can use printer and copy machine free of charge too.Totally I'm satisfied with my stay.

« Terrible Experience at this hotel »

I had a terrible experience during my one week of stay here. First, the heater stopped during the first night of staying here while the temperature outside was -10 degrees. The night manager didn't do anything and i couldn't sleep until morning because of cold. Secondly on my fifth night of staying here, although the room was non-smoking, the room was occasionally smelling like tobacco. Talking with the night manager he told me it might be because someone next door is smoking. And that i should endure it because it is as it is. This is absolutely ridiculous. In my opinion this hotel deserve less than two stars although they call this a four star one. I never recommend this hotel to anyone

« Nice Hotel in Ankara »

The Hotel is clean, the rooms relatively small but not too small. The hotel is located at a nice area a little far from the center, actually in an area where plenty of Hotels are. The staff is friendly and helpful, furniture at an acceptable level, yet lighting very bad as in most hotels. Breakfast could be better, but satisfactory

« Nice hotel close to centre of town »

Ankara is a little gem, nice restaurants, and surprisingly hurly burly but not so stressed as Istanbul. People are very friendly. I dont want to say more but TRIPADVISOR wants me to put 200 letter review, they should stop with asking that.

    « only for loctaion »

1 star for the location and the other 2 for rich delicious breakfast. the rooms were smelling bad and you can hear what others talking in other room we couldn't sleep. the room was very very tight and the room needs many reparations.

    « Convenience only »

Originally just the 2000 Hotel, this hotel doesn't do much for the reputation of the Best Western chain. Hidden away on a corner in the Kavaklidere district of Ankara, the hotel is really only convenient for a short business trip or just somewhere to sleep after a hard night in the local bars and clubs. The entrance and lobby are dull, the decor dreary, and the rooms small and rather cramped with basic and aging furnishings. On the up-side, what there is (TV, wi-fi) works and there is at least something (though not much) in the mini-bar. Check-in and out are quick if perfunctory, while the breakfast is standard Turkish-style without much choice. The hotel wins in terms of location for entertainment and being in easy reach of the central Kizilay district, but not much else. OK for a quick stay, but certainly not worthy of a 4-star rating.

    « Nice »

Ankara was our 2nd city to visit in our tour which started in May 9,2015 in Istanbul. So we don't have choice. We stay there to overnight in our way to Cappadocia. We had a very long bus trip from Istanbul,so we slept as a baby. The room were comfortable, quiet and clean. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast and the dinner far exceeded my expectations.
