« GREAT LOCATION, BUT COCKROACHES.. »

I have to say this was a fabulous hotel location. It is right across the street from the entrance of the Disneyland Parks. My family stayed for one night and unfortunately the night we came back from the Disneyland Park, I found a baby cockroach in my bathroom sink. I wanted to move out to another hotel, but it was too late to move around a 3 year old toddler and an 8 month old baby. I was extremely unhappy and paranoid that my belongings would have cockroaches crawling around and I would hate to take them home with me.

« Clean and great location »

Very clean....property maybe old but the place is super clean.....no complaints here. We visited during thanksgiving 2016, and we felt the best part about this place is it's GREAT location. Just cross the street and you're in Disney. Parking spots are very tight.....no complaints about the breakfast....it was well managed and we always got a table no issue. Standard hot breakfast choices. This is the place to stay if visiting Disney.

    « Location! »

Directly across from park, rooms were clean and roomy, includes breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Best thing about this hotel is it's location, was able to return to our room through the day to rest, freshen up, and eat.

    « Can't be closer to Disneyland! »

Location couldn't be better, right across from the entrance to Disney. Staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was included and very convenient. This hotel was great for the money, we will likely stay here again

    « Very nice stay »

My spouse and I stayed for 2 nights during our Disneyland visit. The location can't be beat and includes a filling breakfast at captain 's restaurant upper level next door. We both loved our king size bed, it was very comfortable. The room was spotless too although we weren't in it very much. I would love to stay here again if we're ever in the area.

    « Great times »

The stay was good just across from Disneyland made it very helpful the hotel was clean and comfortable. There were a lot of places to eat at my family enjoyed it. The breakfast was good but can be improved.

The location is excellent....well worth the money. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was great. Breakfast was excellent! We will stay here any time we come to disneyland in the future!!!!

    « Great! »

The hotel is right across from Disneyland so it's great if you need to take a nap in the middle of the day. And the hotel has great staff that are helpful and nice. Also, my room was always nice and clean.

« Perfect Location, Average Hotel »

As stated in almost every review for this hotel - GREAT location. It was great for Disneyland. However, this is a very average hotel. The carpets were thin, old, and dirty (see picture of hole in carpet). When I put on brand new white socks and walked around in the room getting ready on the first morning, they were darkened significantly from dirt on the floor - which really grossed me out. The bed was not good. I could easily feel springs digging into my back - very disappointing after a long day at Disneyland. The dresser that had the TV on it was quite sticky on top. We placed the remote there and when we returned it took quite a tug to loosen it from the dresser - also gross. The cooling unit and fan in the bathroom are extremely loud. The pool area was small and worn down. The breakfast was next door on the second floor of Captain Kidds. It was actually pretty good. Fresh fruit, eggs, sausages or ham, french toast sticks/pancakes, doughnuts, yogurt, oatmeal, muffins, etc. It seems that since they know they are so close to Disneyland, and likely sell out their rooms consistently, they aren't interested in keeping up the place. This was similar to a $60 budget hotel in all respects except the location.

    « Love this place »

Everything you need is here at reasonable prices. Very happy to stay here again and again. Internet is not always going but that was not a concern. We went to Disneyland and had adjoining rooms which my grandaughter loved! When we didn't have our room cleaned staff contacted us to see if we needed anything.

« Great option for Disneyland travelers »

This is a great option for a family going to DisneyLand. Its the closest one to the gate of the parks. Our room was nice and breakfast is offered each morning included in the cost of the room. The beds and pillows are very comfy. The only thing I wish was different is the rooms are kind of dark.

    « Closest to Disneyland »

This is the closest hotel to the Disneyland park. After a long day at Disneyland it is wonderful to walk to the closest hotel. The rooms are nice. The full breakfast is wonderful. The staff is always helpful. Thanks for another great stay!

    « Okay trip »

Good place. Convenient to stay by the park. Door to hotel was broken. Someone came out to fix it but showed us the trick to open it instead of actually fixing it. I would stay here again if I had to. Thanks

    « Location Location Location »

This is one of the closest hotels to the parks, a true less than five minute walk to the security area. The breakfast is great for being free...more than enough to get you going in the morning. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. I would stay here again for sure. Breakfast had...waffles, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice, pastries, cereal, oatmeal and all the ingredients you would need to make yourself an egg mcmuffin type breakfast sandwich. The breakfast area was large and we always found a seat.

    « Great place. »

Always great place to stay. Never had any problems and it's right across the street from the park. Book it way in advance though because it sells out quickly. You can also see the fireworks from the balcony around the hotel.

« Great experience and a location that can't be beaten »

Just back from an excellent four night stay at the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn. I have walked past this hotel many a time on my previous Disney visits and have always wanted to stay so I was thrilled when they had a room available for our latest Disney extravaganza. Without doubt, the best thing about this hotel is it's location. You seriously cannot be closer to the entrance to Disneyland (apart from staying at the Grand Californian Disney Hotel which will break your bank!). It was SO nice knowing that after a long day at the parks, we just had moments to walk back to our hotel room. We were able to leave sweaters there rather than take a locker as it was just so darn convenient to zip out the park, bundle up and return. The room itself was great - plenty of space. Sink area in the room was great as was the shower/bathroom itself. Not a ton of space in there but it was perfectly adequate for our needs. Some of the furniture showed it's wear at the corners were it had been brushed by so many times but it wasn't to a level where it bothered you. Breakfast was literally upstairs of the Captain Kidd restaurant and rotated it's menu each day - sometimes ham and eggs, sometimes sausage and pancakes, so don't go there thinking you get a selection of everything, every day. Seating could be hard to find at times, particularly before park opening times but the food was constantly being topped up. It was again adequate for our needs. My only couple of negatives was a sticky candy that was by the sofa bed when we arrived and stayed there stuck on our carpet the entire time, but it was sort of out the way and probably hard for the maid to see under the lip of the sofa, and the throw on the bed between the sheets. It was quite harsh even between the sheets and wasn't ultra snuggly but heck, we go to the park from opening to close, so sleep is not hard to come by... my preference would have just been for a lighter wool blanket that draped to the shape of your body rather than something stiff. Will definitely look to stay here again... definitely will be my first choice for an Anaheim hotel as for Disney die hards that rack up 20 Km of park walking a day, the location is an absolute winner.

    « Great Location »

First time visit to Anaheim, chose this hotel for the location to Disneyland. Perfect just across the street. Staff friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Only problem was poor water pressure in the shower. Would highly recommend this location and would stay here's again.

    5
    « Perfect location »

I have visited Disneyland about 25 times over the last 40 some years but this visit was the easiest. The location is perfect, the price is very good and breakfast was good. The rooms are fairly large and very comfortable. The staff was great. The $10 parking fee is reasonable considering we came from a $46 a night fee in San Diego.

    4
« There is no better location for Disneyland »

You walk out of the hotel and walk across the street to Disneyland. It doesn't get much more convenient, and the added cost is worth it. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was satisfactory. We would definitely stay there again.

    5
« Perfect for Disneyland stays »

It's PERFECT! Clean comfy rooms, with at home comforts. Delish breakfast! We were there for Disneyland - but I actually wanted to spend time in bed cuz it was SOO cozy :) They even have a Disney gift shop!

« Going Down hill fast »

Our family has stayed at this hotel for the past 6 years every October. This past October was horrifying to say the least. This hotel has gone downhill fast. The rooms are outdated, dirty and the bathroom was full of black mold. It wasn't until the last day that we realized my daughter had been coughing her full head off shortly after we arrived, that there was black mold everywhere & hidden behind the filthy wall paper in the bathroom. The carpet was dirty as was the drapery. Beds were so uncomfortable and mattresses were worn out. Sheets are paper thin so make sure you trim your toenails before you get under sheets. It took me 30 minutes in the morning to get rid of the backache it caused, not to mention the pillows will break your neck. The breakfast is a heart attack waiting to happen although there is yogurt and fruit which is a nice plus & coffee. It is right across the street to Disneyland which makes it great but really, a 2 block walk would be better for the whole family! We contact manager on our way out. She was professional but she was only in charge and not the manager. How does that always happen? Manager gone away to a conference with every other top dog. Waited for the manager to get back to call me. Her way of making it better was giving us 2 nights off. Basically, had I been that manager who swears this was the only room with MOLD .. I would have given a full refund and a free stay next year. Funny how they are supposedly working on those rooms now, because I am sure our ROOM was not the ONLY room in this condition. The refund didn't even take care of my daughters Dr. visit nor her inhalers etc. Please make sure you check your room out before you pay this kind of money. The maids are sweet but act as though they speak NO English so when you are in need of something for your room you have to play a game of charades with them. One last thing..wait or maybe two more things..Make sure you don't drive to the hotel.. No parking is ever available and if so you pay extra to park there. Washing machine will need to run twice as will the dryers. 2 Washers/2 Dryers can be replaced for what we were charged for the stay. Sorry this is a bad review, but it speaks the truth at this time.. Maybe next year the rooms will be redone but we won't be back to find out.

    « Can't beat the location! »

Recently I stayed at the Park Place Inn. We had a good visit. Rooms were very clean and you just can't beat the location. I have stayed here before and I was very happy to come back. The only negative experience I had was our room location. We were on the ground floor, room 126 and it was right by the pool. The noise from the pool made it impossible to come back to the room at mid-day and take a nap. It was good to have a microwave and a refrigerator.

« Ace location, but going downhill »

This is my fifth time at this Best Western (though it has never been acknowledged when I check in--that would be a nice touch). To repeat myself and everyone else, it really is the closest you can get to Disneyland. The complimentary breakfast is also stellar and in fact has only gotten better with each visit. Other than that, it's an old school motel that feels like it's getting more run down with each visit. The room was very well-worn and tired. One thing that really turned me off was seeing the garbage cans on the third floor walkway outside overflowing with garbage at night. Similarly, the customer service needs some work. In the early afternoons we came back to the rooms, which had already been made up, and then hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Each evening, I received a phone call that the room had not been serviced due to the DND sign. Also odd, the other party I was traveling with received a message from the front desk two days in a row checking in on them and their visit, but I never got a call. The AC unit also didn't seem to work as well as in years past. If the hotel keeps going in this direction, I can predict that myself and other visitors will opt to walk an extra quarter mile to give ourselves more than the basics in service.

« Great location, rooms need an upgrade »

You cannot beat the location of this hotel--it's literally across the street from the main gates of the Disney parks. However, I recommend you bring the following to make your stay here actually comfortable: your own sheets, pillows, and blankets because the ones on the beds are so scratchy and the pillows are HUGE and hard. Not great.

    4
« Great location, good value »

Can't beat the location = right across the main entrance to Disneyland. Good value (nothing is cheap in the area), good clean rooms, reasonably quiet, good bathrooms, comfortable enough beds. Very helpful staff.

« Great Location and Staff »

We stayed here for three nights, with my husband, 3 young children, my mother, sister and brother in law. Our rooms were interconnected, and both rooms were spacious, with 2 double bed and sofa beds. Staffs were very helpful when I asked for the sofa bed to be made and also when I asked them to help hoover the floor when I accidentally had powder milk spilled on the floor. I purposely chose to stay here for the location as it's an easy walk to get to the entrance for Disneyland especially with 3 kids. There are also restaurants close by, which helps after a long day. Great place for families who want to be close to Disney.

« Convenience is the ONLY Plus!!! »

Top reason I chose this hotel was location - it is directly across from the entrance to Disneyland and it is the only reason I am giving it 2 stars. Other than that, this hotel was dirty and in major needs of updates!!!! The room simply was not clean! I put my wedding rings and jewelry on the dresser with the TV and went to put them on the next morning and they were stuck to the dresser - literally had to pop them off. Disgusting!!!! And the whole room was in this kind of shape. The bath area had a tiny sink and long counter top. The length was nice for getting ready in the morning, but the sink was inadequate for washing your face it was so small around. Shower pressure to weak as well, but it was okay. Beds were uncomfortable and sheets were paper thin, pillows will hurt your neck - they are literal lumps. The breakfast was okay. Not super convenient, but it was fine. In hindsight - I would walk a little further for a nicer hotel. I just can't recommend this one to anyone, unless all you care about is convenience!!! Oh and the price was WAY to much for the lack of quality in this hotel. Just not worth the money!!!!

« Great Spot for a Disney Vacation »

We would have been happy with just a bed with how little time we spent in the room. The rooms were a little dated but really you aren't in Disney for that anyways. The beds we're comfy the pillows were nice and fluffy. The staff was awesome and they seemed to have a lot of fun. Took our bags when we got there even though it was way before check in. Breakfast was great and on days we declined housekeeping the front desk would give us a courtesy call before housekeeping left for the evening. My only complaint has little to do with the hotel itself and more to do with the fact their are three best westerns on the same street it made it a bit difficult for our cab to come find us despite the directions also breakfast was great with lots of options for my picky eater.

    5
    « Location is perfect!!! »

The value in this hotel/motel is the proximity to Disneyland. It is directly across the main pedestrian crosswalk. There was a free breakfast and our room was clean. No frills and basic, but I would stay here again because of the clean room and definitely the location.

    5
« Close, cheap and easy! »

This hotel is literally across the street from DisneyLand! It was cheap but clean with a decent little pool that was perfect for cooling off before a short nap each day! The staff were not overly friendly but willing to assist when asked. The free breakfast was across the way but provided a full spread before heading to the parks. Would stay again!

« Looking forward to next time »

Check in was a little busy but, our room was ready early. Parking spaces were very tight. We had a King room and it was a pretty big space. The bed was nice, room looked updated. I liked that they had 2 luggage stands in there. The fridge came in handy. There was very little light in some areas of the room though even with multiple lamps. The breakfast was wonderful, very easy to get in and find seats for a large group. They offered scrambled eggs, round cooked eggs for sandwiches, potatoes, cereal, pastries, bagels, milk, juice, toast, the meat changed from sausage or ham, and the carb changed as well from waffles, pancakes, or French toast. The Jacuzzi was nice before a late park entry or an early evening after, pool was chilly. The short walk to Disney Parks from this hotel cannot be beat anywhere. Will stay again.

    « Great Stay »

Great place to stay regardless of what you are ding, but especially i you are going to Disneyland. Best hotel you could stay at for the price and the location. Very good service, friendly staff. I try and stay here every time I'm in this area.

    4
« Great location, very noisy »

We stayed here for a couple of nights to do Disney. Excellent location! You're right across the walk way to the entrance so only 4-5 mins walk to Disney. - staff are very friendly and check in was a breeze. - rooms are a great size and we had a couch and coffee table. - VERY VERY noisy though. Walls are thin. We had a room near reception on the ground floor. We had people constantly walking past and it got very loud. Rooms above us had people running and walking loudly which just made our room unbearable at time. Try and request a top floor room. - American breakfast next door. Really good breakfast. - has an IHOP and other eateries right next door. - laundry available - parking is $10 per day but gets packed very quickly. Certainly a great hotel in a great location, request a high floor room!!

« Jump, skip, hop into Disney maingate. Location you cannot beat. »

Cannot beat this location. Rooms were basic. Nice counter space by bathroom sink, bathroom fan sounded like it was gonna take off (loud). Rooms opened to outdoors. Although you are a jump, skip and hop away from the maingate (right across the road). You can hear fireworks from Disney at nights from the room. Complimentary hot breakfast buffet is yummy and had something for everyone. Pizza Press down the road is good too, within close walking distance to lots of dining options. Joe's Crab Shack a short drive away was yummy as well.

    « BASIC, NO FRILLS...LOCATION IS EVERYTHING! »

Although my boyfriend and I usually stay on the DVC side of The Grand Californian for our Disney getaways, we waited too long this time and the vacation villas were already booked. A friend of ours recommended the Best Western Plus - Mini Suites as it's located right across the street and the rooms are very clean and economical. So I looked at the reviews online, decided to give it a chance and booked the room for 3 nights. My boyfriend and I checked into the BW on Wednesday Oct. 19th. The lobby was nice enough and my friend wasn't kidding, the BW is literally right across the street from the parks. The service at the front desk was just ok. Nobody smiled, they just greeted us in a very matter of fact manner and that was about it. We were told that parking would be $10/night as we were given our room keys. We then proceeded to go check out our room. Our room was located on the first floor and it was a very basic no frills type of room. It was definitely older with cheesy bamboo décor however the room did contain a small fridge and microwave. Although it wasn't up to the same caliber of accommodations that we were used to, it provided all the basic necessities that we needed and the fact that we were located directly across the street from the parks was fantastic! We did have a few issues while we stayed here one of which was their complimentary Wi-Fi! Their Wi-Fi was TERRIBLE! I mean absolutely terrible to the point where it was useless at times. Heaven forbid we had to work remotely from the hotel - it would be impossible for us to get anything done online. I understand that places like this aren't necessarily meant for business however, it would've been nice to be able to get some work done while we were here. We couldn't even stream anything on our IPad due to the internet being so spotty. Another issue we had was the most obnoxious guests who were staying in the room above us. Let me just clarify, I understand that this is a budget hotel and that mostly families with little kids would be staying here. We knew going in that we would have to tolerate noise and kids running around at certain times and we were totally ok with that. Unfortunately, the guests above us were so obnoxious and rude that they took noise to whole other level. On the first night, we kept hearing this perpetual pounding above us and as if someone was running back and forth in their room non-stop for about 30 minutes. When I say non-stop - that is no exaggeration because it just wouldn't stop. We then kept hearing this loud thumping as if kids were jumping off the bed. By this point it was already close to 10:00pm so we called the front desk and asked if they could tell the guests to keep the noise down. After a few minutes it did die down but the following morning and the following evening it started all over again but this time it was worse and so much louder. The volume of the noise and the constant pounding and running started to make us think they were doing this on purpose because we asked the front desk to tell them to quiet down. Well we called again and told them it's getting worse and they said they would remedy the situation right away. Well, this time nothing happened and the noise persisted for another 40 minutes. The next morning at 4:00am it happened again as well as the next night and we were told by the front desk that the noise issue would be handled. Once again, nothing changed! Good thing we were at the parks for the majority of the time that we were there but the fact that the front desk didn't really take care of the problem really irked us. Needless to say, this issue was something that we found really disappointing. Overall, the BW was a decent place to stay and the location made it so convenient. They also offered free breakfast at Captain Kidd's Buffet which was right next door that we never took advantage of. I feel if we needed to make other accommodations if our default hotel at the Grand Californian had no more DVC villas available, we would stay here again but we would request a room on the top floor. This is a basic, no frills motel that meets the basic necessities and is the closest proximity to the parks.

    « Great Hotel »

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The onsite breakfast was very nice and saved us a lot of money. We will stay here again on our next trip to Disneyland. I rented a wheelchair right off the lobby area, that made the trip so much easier for me as I can't walk that far without my hip or foot in pain.

    5
« Convenient, Clean, and Comfortable »

This is hotel that we prefer to stay at when we make our Disneyland trips. It is literally across the street from the park entrance. Staff is friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean and beds are super comfy.

    4
« Great for an older motel with breakfast buffet »

I was very satisfied with my stay overall but there were a few problems. The bathroom fixtures had been tampered with, a prankster in the room before us I imagine, so our bathroom was immediately flooded. The staff was very helpful and courteous but we asked them to wait to fix some of the issues that we couldn't ourselves until after our stay. The breakfast buffet was awesome! Hot food and a great variety. Beds were very small but super comfy. Overall, it was a great atmosphere and we had a wonderful time.

    5
« Great deal and location!! »

This hotel offers the shortest distance to Disneyland. Rooms are great and free breakfast is a plus!! Rooms are clean and spacious and the mini suite can sleep up to six people. Will definitely stay here again!!

    3
« Great Location but don't expect comfort »

It was great to stay directly across from Disneyland and I did enjoy the breakfast options however the beds and pillows are very uncomfortable here. Also, if they have the same A/Cs throughout, they are very noisy and wake you up through the night. Room was very clean though which was nice.

  • 5
    « Great Hotel »

We were very happy with the hotel overall. You cannot get any closer to Disneyland than the location of the hotel. Staff were all great. The bed was hard and the pillows were not my comfort level. Based off other reviews I brought my own pillow. Also the internet was pretty bad, reception as well for the cell phone. Overall a great place.

    5
    « Perfect Location »

We have stayed at this hotel before and it is perfect for going to Disneyland or Disney California Adventures. The location is great, the staff is wonderful. Walk out of the hotel and across the street and on our way to Disneyland. The food is expected for a free breakfast. They had eggs, potatoes, waffles, and many other treats. The only complaint I have is the blanket on the bed was scratchy and did not keep me warm.

    4
    « Right across Disneyland »

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and they didn't disappoint. First of all, location is a winner! It's right across Disneyland entrance. Convenient walk to enter both parks. I reckon those who are staying at Disneyland Hotel walk about the same distance. Second, accommodation includes breakfast at Capt Kidd. They serve hot food which I hope had more variety. Imagine having to eat the same menu for the 6 nights we were there. Third, there are plenty of restaurant choices near the hotel ie Tony Romas, Denny's, McDonalds, iHop, etc. And of course, Downtown Disney restaurants as well. Will stay here again when we return in the future and will refer to family and friends.

    4
« Clean, large rooms across from Disneyland »

Location, location, location! This hotel has the absolute best location being right across the street from the entrance to Disneyland! Rooms are large and clean. The beds are pretty firm, so may be uncomfortable if you are used to a soft mattress. We didn't have any issues with it however. Bathroom is large and has a lot of room for your toiletries. We loved the larger dorm sized fridge and the microwave. We were able to store some left overs and drinks. We didn't use the pool, but the it is very small. Don't stay here for the pool only. Breakfast was great. Lots of hot items available ( eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, cereal, fruit etc). However, there is not a lot of seating so get there early as to avoid needing to stand while eating. Or you could take it back to your room but it's a bit of a hike if you are at the back of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again! Great price, nice room, close to DL and good breakfast.

    5
    « Disneyland »

Hotel was nice and looked cared for. Very nice and clean rooms. Wi-fi worked great. Location was great for Disneyland. The park is across the street. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. I would stay here again.

    « Can't beat the convenience! »

Check in was smooth, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Some people mentioned renovated rooms, but I believe that must be something they're doing in waves because it seemed like our room had not been updated. This is not to say that it was unsatisfactory - the rooms are very generous in size and clean. We tried the breakfast several times and didn't have the problem of over-crowding, but perhaps that's because we tended to enter the park a little later in the morning (9AM). Breakfast is better than most continentals I've encountered and the room it is served in is well-lit and nicely updated. Our favourite part about the hotel is its proximity to the parks. It's less than a ten minute walk to either of the front gates, so it makes for an easy trip back to the hotel for a break midday. Another added bonus if you're taking the Disneyland Express to or from the airport (through Southern California Gray Line) is that this is the last stop before they head to the Disney Resorts, so you don't have to sit in the bus as long waiting for everyone to be picked up. Overall I would definitely suggest this hotel to families and couples alike. We'll definitely be coming here again!

« Great Disney Partner Hotel »

If you can't afford a resort hotel then this is the place to stay. You can't get any closer than right across the street. The breakfast offered a variety of choices and pretty good coffee to get you ready for your day at Disneyland!!

« Location, Location, Location, and Great Service!!! »

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn which is right across from street from DisneyLand Gates. You could not get any closer to the Disney Gate. I think it is closer than the actual disney onsite hotels. We loved our stay at the Best Western. The staff was superfriendly and the breakfast was fabulous. It was located in a private room next door at the captain's table (I believe). The breakfast had alot of hot choices and they were able to handle my son's glutten, soy, and nut allergies everyday. We couldn't of asked for anything more. The rooms were all suites, we had two double beds and a pull out couch so there was plenty of room for sleeping. The bathroom and room was clean. Overall the Best Western Plus made our Disneyland Vacation a huge Success. We can't see staying anywhere else!! WE loved IT!!

« Great modern decor hotel »

The service of the staff is impeccable. The proximity to Disneyland is the best, outside of staying at a Disneyland owned hotel. This hotel sits directly in front of crosswalk that takes you to the entrance to the parks. The rooms are obviously recently renovated. They are quite large. Great value for your dollar. The only complaint i have is that the bed was a bit uncomfortable. My girlfriend didn't have a problem but I was not entirely enthused. The pillows were pretty rigid too. But it is still an overall comfortable hotel. I have stayed in a few hotels in this area and I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

    4
« Very clean and convenient »

Staff very friendly and organized. Housekeeping staff was very quick to respond to request for additional pillows. Rooms were very clean, comfortable. I would return next time I go to Disneyland. Very convenient and it is so nice to be able to come back to the room to recharge before heading back to the park.

« So incredibly close to front gate »

We stayed at Best Western Plus Park Place Inn during our stay in September 2016. A great, low cost hotel. Clean, tidy and straight across the road from Disneyland main entrance. Couldn't ask for more! The only negative was the breakfast. This is served in the restaurant next door but it was just too crowded and not enough seating. We tried it on the first day and then gave up and went elsewhere for our breakfasts.

    « Disneyland visit »

Have been visiting/staying at the BW Park Place Inn since 2008. Love the location, short walk to Disney. Like the breakfast buffet vastly improved with good selection of warm food, depending on day, pancakes, waffles, sausage, ham, different eggs and loved their breakfast potatoes. Sadly the internet reception has not improved much since first began staying there. Difficult to log on and continually goes down. Rooms are a little outdated and tired, but they are totally comfortable and the maid service is outstanding.

« Good place to visit Disneyland »

Great place to base a visit to Disneyland. The breakfast room gets somewhat loud and crazy in the morning, but it's full of kids who can't wait to get to Disneyland. (That's why you came, right?) Also, the room was very hot and didn't smell fresh when we arrived and the AC had trouble getting the room down to comfortable. Wish it had been on a couple of hours before we got there. The price was more than fair and you couldn't closer to the gate at these prices. The staff was outstanding. They were friendly, efficient and when we had a problem with our door lock at 7 am, they had a friendly person who fixed it almost immediately.

    3
    « Nice Location »

Really love the location to Disneyland and the breakfast was more than I expected. Rooms not the best and the pillows and beds were very hard. Rooms felt damp with the air on. Cleanliness could be more on the rooms.

« Almost perfect for a Disneyland stay »

This place is GREAT for a Disneyland visit. You are literally RIGHT across the street (you really can't get any closer), and it's fairly quiet off the strip there. There is a free breakfast every morning, which is pretty good (tiring by day 8, but still very good), the hotel is nice, and it's affordable. The only complaint I have is that the people above us seemed to run a marathon every morning in their room at 5:45 am and it woke us up every time. So that's a down side... but hopefully you get normal neighbors that sleep until at least 6-7. Cheap parking, laundry, small pool...

    5
    « Awesome stay »

Loved this hotel. Breakfast was good and good choices. Liked that the hot breakfast changed every day. Pool area was nice and felt more private than others in the area. Staff were amazing. So friendly and knowledgeable. Absolutely can not beat staying right across from Disneyland. Will definitely stay again.

    3
« Good Location to Disneyland »

Great location...great breakfast but Hard beds..WOKE UP WITH A NUMB ARM THEY WERE SO HARD. My daughter said the same thing...as hard as Motel 6 beds.....We rented scooters for Disneyland and the hotel was great about letting us park them in the room at night....

« Best Location for DLR »

Had another wonderful stay at Best Western Park Place Inn. Room was ready at 10:00am which was totally unexpected. Had a room with a view of the pool, another nice surprise. The pool was great for mid-day park breaks. Breakfast was great as usual. The best thing ever is that walk to the parks, it really is right across the street. We like to be there when the parks open, and generally head over about 30 minutes before that and it works out great.

    5
« Best place to stay »

This hotel is not a 5 star hotel but if you are looking for a clean hotel, right across the street from Disneyland with free breakfast and Wifi, this is your place. Friendly staff, rooms are good, bed was comfy. For the price, I feel this is the best hotel and we won't stay anywhere else.

    4
« Harbor Bvd. Best Western a GREAT Value »

A very friendly and professional staff. Food wasn't that good, but adequate. Rooms need updating as well as the pool area but you cannot beat the location. Considering how busy this Best Western is because of it's close proximity to Disneyland, this property is as well as maintained as could be. We would not stay anywhere else next time we go.

« Hotel Across the Street from Disneyland »

A very average hotel. Clean and neat. Breakfast included. Has a jacuzzi and pool, very close to Disneyland, just across the street, a short walk away. There are plenty of places to eat close by. You can buy two-day or more passes at the desk for Disneyland. No discounts for a one day pass. You can watch the Disney fireworks in the front of the hotel.

    3
    « Stay was OK »

Staff were very pleasant and helpful and location of hotel was great - right across from Disneyland. But hotel appears very old and in need of updates to rooms. Beds were quite comfortable but the aircon made lots of noise so it was hard to sleep.

    « Check-In was a breeze! »

FYI: The 5 dots are for Ms. Willcox! Why does she deserve this? We came in at 10PM and she checked us in with a wonderful smile on her face; right there and then we knew that out stay was going to be great. Not only was the location fantastic but the rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was great, lots to chose from. However, the breakfast room was super crowded as it could use more ventilation. I think the food bar should be moved towards the middle of the room and not by the double doors, it created more traffic. Anyway, our all in all stay was great! Thank you Best Western Plus Place Inn!

    « AWSOME! »

This hotel was AWSOME! Checkin was easy. The gentleman at the front desk told us the best place to park (going against what his coworker suggested). We had a little issue with our tv remote not working. BUT, the lady at the front desk sent a maintenance man to our room while we walked back to it! Not 1 minute after we got in our room he was there, he fixed it was we were on our way! The hotel is LITERALLY, 5 minutes away from the Disney parks. It is right across from them! The breakfast is AWSOME for just a continental breakfast. It included sausage, potatoes, egg (patty & scrambled), bagels, English muffins, white & wheat toast, at least 5-6 different types of muffins and Danishes, fresh fruit, 4 different cereals, oatmeal, walnuts, raisins, craisens, granola, milk, juices, coffee, yogurt....there might be more but I can't recall it all! Room was quiet, we were in room 147. Room was clean. Staff was AWSOME! Great stay for a great price. Highly recommended!

    « Great for disneyland »

I stayed here to be close to disneyland. The hotel has lots of rooms with a few elevators which is handy when going to different floors with your luggage. The rooms are big the beds have been described as a double but id say more like a king single. The room was clean and comfortable had a tiki kinda feel to it. Depending on what you want to do if your staying in the hotel all day then its not the best but for a bed just to sleep on its good. They offer a free buffet breakfast next door. The hotel is directly across the street to the Disneyland entrance.

    5
« Best place for Disney »

Superb location, excellent rooms (big, modern and very clean), less than 10 minutes walk to the disney parks. Entrance to the disney 'property' is directly across the street. Superb breakfast upstairs in Captain Kidds - offering hot and cold options, sausages, ham, hot potatoes, pancakes, toast, bagels, cereal, coffee etc, buffet style. Hotel reception is very modern, we made use of the complimentary computer to print off boarding passes for our internal flight.

    4
« Great location to Disneyland and clean big rooms »

We had two adjoining rooms, very spacious and comfortable and clean. I didn't love the breakfast, but appreciated that we could grab something quick. Excellent location to the parks, and also not too far to walk to Cheesecake Factory a grew blocks away. Service was great. Definite recommend this hotel.

    4
    « Great Hotel & free Breakfast!! »

Overall the hotel, breakfast and pool were great and the staff was very attentive. Half the price as the Disney resort & free breakfast!! right across the street from Disneyland, walk over in just a few minutes to CA adventure-land or Disneyland. It is a great location to rest or take a swim after a long day at the "Happiest Place on Earth"

    5
« Great place to take the family »

Very clean, large rooms. Excellent breakfast! Great value for the money. Comfortable beds, and a pull out couch. Fridge and microwave. Great location for visiting Disneyland...literally right across the street.

« Across the Street from Disneyland! »

We were very happy with this hotel. Location was great-right across from Disneyland. The hotel was clean and the grounds were kept up very well. The lobby was welcoming and the front desk staff was very helpful. The beds and pillows were comfortable. While we were there they were doing complete cleaning of some rooms-a good thing to see happening. The breakfast-which was next door-was adequate.

« Could have been better. »

Got this room because it's right across the street from Disney. We checked in early, which was nice but our room was 3 doors down from main office. Was expecting it to be noisy but we're happy it wasn't. Motel looks like it had a make over and was very clean. But the furniture looks like it was from the 70's. The dresser had very deep scratches all over it. New tiled bathroom, but kept the old furniture. Made the whole place look old. The parking is $10.00 per guest visit and we were told we'd have to move our vehicle out of their lot at 3pm. We planned on staying at Disneyland till 5 or 6. After talking to the front desk, we were told, it's not a big deal go ahead and leave when you want. Staff was very nice and the complimentary continental breakfast next door at a restaurant was ok.

« Closest to Disneyland and a nice hotel! »

Stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the room very much. Plenty of room for our family, very clean and housekeeping service was prompt every day to keep things in order, Breakfast was convenient and the hotel was so close to restaurants and the Disney Park is just a few minutes walk away. Will stay here again for sure!

« Great location comforable rooms »

Great accomodation conveniently located a short walk from disneyland. Ample parking & washing facilities. Would definately recommend staying here. We arrived well before check in time & our room was ready. Handy to cheesecake factory & bubba gumps. Family friendly swimming pool & spa. We stayed five nights. The included breakfast was hearty enough to start each day

    5
    « Perfect for Disneyland »

If you want to visit Disneyland this is the place to stay!! Friendly staff, neat tidy rooms and directly across the road from DL. Perfect for families who want to catch their breath in afternoon and come back for a rest then hit it again for night session. Pool ok. Free breakfast at Captain Kidds did the job. Overall I would stay here again.

    « Loved it! »

Great place just across the street to Disneyland entrance! Big rooms, reasonable price, excellent breakfast! Loved it! And if you are tired from walking all day long, you just get to your room in 5 minutes walk. Will definitely return!

great service only problem came back from long day at Disneyland and was locked out of my room because i hadn't paid for i day of parking for 10.00 so had to go to office and re do my key cards and pay the 10.00

« Quality room at a fair price »

We had a mini-suite. Basically two queen beds and a couch. It served our family of 5 just fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location across from Disneyland was priceless. The breakfast that was included with the room, while not fancy, was definitely better than many. Five people all ate something, so that's a success.

    4
« Great hotel close to the park »

Hotel was great, free breakfast next door at Captain kids was awful - hot stuffy room, food was horrendous and inedible, staff could care less - total contrast to the hotel staff who were helpful and lovely. Would stay here again but go to ihop for breakfast instead

    5
    « family vacation »

rooms have been updated since we last stayed here. The breakfast is good, and there is a good selection for the whole family. From cold cereal, to eggs and ham. There should be something there for everyone. Excellent location if you are doing a Disney trip as it is right across the street from the entrance.

    5
« Location alone gives this place top marks »

Location location location. If you visiting Disney and choose not to stay in a Disney hotel, this is without a doubt your best bet. Walk across the road and you are there. The staff are friendly and the included buffet breakfast is awesome compared to other versions of the hotel chain. You can also come back and take a small rest, swim or bite to eat at nearby eateries without the high price tag of Disney restaurants before heading back for more fun. I will without any hesitation recommend this hotel and will most certainly stay here again if revisiting anytime soon.

« Super close to Disney but very noisy »

About as close as you can get to Disney. Breakfast was included and there was a large selection. All 4 of us struggled with the noise all 4 nights from the people in the rooms next to us with crying and screaming children. As well, families would speak and shout to each other in the hallways when coming back from the fireworks around 9:30pm and in the mornings before breakfast when my family was trying to sleep. Rooms aren't very soundproof. Perhaps we could have requested a 'quiet' zone area of the hotel if that was a possibility??

    4
« Best location for a value hotel at Disneyland »

This hotel is directly across the street from the main Disneyland entrance. You can't get any closer than this. Having the free breakfast saves time and money. It's decent and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are decorated in a modern style and there's lots of room for a family with kids. The only negative is the very small pool.

    4
    « So close! »

We try to stay here any time we're not staying at one of the Disney hotels. It's the closest and they have a pretty good breakfast. The rooms are nothing to write home about, but they do the job. The last time we stayed here, the staff seemed much friendlier than any of the times before, so I'm not sure whether there's new management or all new staff, but it's a change for the better.

    4
    « Very Convenient »

This hotel could not be more convenient to Disneyland. Walk out the front door, cross the street and you are right where the busses drop off the people who parked in the Disney lot. It is about a 5 minute walk to the entrance of both Disneyland and California Adventure. The street this hotel is on is basically one long line of hotels and places to eat all wedged together city style with little if any space between them. Honestly you could stay at any number of the hotels to the right or left of this one and the walk to Disney would be basically the same or only a few minutes longer. Anaheim is definitely different than the area surrounding Disneyworld in Florida and in our opinion the atmosphere in Anaheim is not nearly as nice. Most of the hotels in Anaheim are right on the main road in an older urban and somewhat depressed area. It was a sad reality to see so many homeless people up and down the streets just outside the gates of what is known as the happiest place on earth. Many of the hotels including this one are motor lodge style so you enter your rooms from the outside and rooms face the parking. The parking was convenient and secure. There is a pool but it is wedged between parts of th building and the parking lot with no buffer so it was not an inviting atmosphere and we were busy at Disney anyway so we did not use it. The rooms were clean but on the dark side. The hotel was quiet and we did not hear a lot of noise from other guests or the street. The bathrom area was very small but looked as though it had been recently renovated and was nicely done. We did not see any mold as we often do at hotels. The breakfast is held in the family restaurant next door and was convenient. The staff were all pleasant and efficient. They even called to let us know we had left something in the room when we packed up and asked if we would like to pay to have it mailed since we were no longer in the area.

    « Had a great stay »

We had a great stay here for an extended-family trip. I booked multiple rooms and everything went smoothly. I love the room design and the staff was friendly. I love the location and it had everything we needed.

« Great location, Great room, Great breakfast »

My new husband and I decided that instead of a Honeymoon we would take a Family moon, meaning we took the kids with us and went to Disneyland. This was a great hotel, close to Disneyland with free breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and the room was large, comfortable and clean and we will stay here again when we return.

    4
« GREAT Location, Good Stay in basic accomodations »

This hotel is the closest you can possibly get to the Disneyland parks. If you are looking for a close, clean, safe place to stay that offers breakfast, this is it. The rooms are not fancy, but are fine. We had a little trouble with one outlet not working and the others being so worn that the items plugged into them would fall out. There were enough working outlets that we were fine and Im sure they would have moved us or addressed it if we had asked. The breakfast is typical, but convenient and offers hot items and whole fruit, which is nice. The rooms have a fridge and microwave, which is also convenient. For a room that is close to the parks with basic amenities, this is a great choice. We will probably stay here again.

    4
    « Location, location, location... »

Stayed here in October 2015. The rooms are HUGE. The room would have easily slept six with two queen beds and a sofa bed. Nice big vanity. The location is excellent, the Disneyland entrance is across the street. The breakfast area was being remodeled when we went, but they offered grab & go breakfasts which worked out perfectly for getting an early start. The staff was friendly. We pre-requested a room on the top floor and got one. A very positive experience. We would stay here again.

    4
    « was nice »

We went on a family trip to Disneyland. We rented two rooms. I was very dissapointed that there was no coffee in the lobby, after coming back from a day and night of walking a coffee would have been nice. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.

    5
« Great location and hotel »

We decided to go to Disneyland a day early, and booked this hotel at the last minute. What a pleasant surprise it was! Everyone was very friendly, the room was very clean, comfortable, and up-to-date, breakfast was included, and was very good. Disneyland is a easy 1 block walk, and best of all, it was a really reasonable price. Would stay there again.

« Great Location; Ok Quality »

The hotel is directly across the street from Disney and there are great restaurants within walking distance- which is great because there isn't much to do/eat at the hotel. The breakfast offered isn't very good and the pool is extremely small. However, I would probably stay again due to the location and friendliness of the staff.

    4
« Good quality hotel with excellent location and breakfast »

We stayed about a week here and we really enjoyed our stay overall. Although we had minor problem with outlet they fixed right away. We also had problem with sticky/ wet TV cabinet that ruined our books, we didn't notice until we put our books there. Beds was firm and nice except the sofa bed. Breakfast was excellent, and location is right across from DIsneyland's entrance so it makes it easy to go back for a nap. Overall good service and still our favorite hotel when we go to Disneyland.

    4
    « Location is great »

The hotel itself is an ok hotel. The rooms were ok, breakfast ok. The best thing about it was the location as it was across the street from the entrance to the Disney parks. I am not sure I will stay there again the next time I go.. I might look into a nicer hotel that offers a shuttle to the Disney parks.

    « Family Disney trip »

The Best Western park place is right across the street from Disneyland! So convenient to walk to with 3 kids. Our favorites of this property were the convenience and the free breakfast. The rooms were nice but we found them to be to small for our family of 5 and we had the suite which is bigger. The lighting in the rooms were dark. The breakfast was upstairs next door and the variety wasn't great but it was included and the kids loved it.The lobby of the property was very nice.Overall we would stay here again but didn't absolutly love it.

« Good Place Right Next To Disneyland »

Right across street from Disneyland. 5 minute walk to gates. Room was just fine with standard modern amenities, including a bigger fridge than most hotels, and it worked well too. Wireless internet was a little chopping, but mostly worked. Included hot breakfast buffet was decent, not great quality, but plenty of options, eggs, sausage, cereals and much more. No bacon though. Only problem with noise that we experienced was the night Disney fireworks. Otherwise quite. No view though.

« Very clean and as close to the park as you can get »

This hotel is directly across from Disneyland so it is super convenient. It is really clean and the rooms are comfortable with good quality furniture. I love the pool and hot tub after spending the day in the park. It can be a little noisy, it's a big property with lots of families staying in it. Our room was pretty close to the street (but upstairs as we requested) so we wore earplugs at night to get some rest.

    5
    « Great visit »

I stayed here for two nights to have a quick trip to Disneyland. The hotel is mid quality. It's not luxury but not horrible either. Definitely worth the price you pay. I had a king room. It was a great size with a couch and large tv on a swivel. The bathroom was an ok size and the sink/counter was separate. The room was clean. There was residue from a sticker that had been on one of the dressers but you could tell that housekeeping had tried hard to remove as much as they could. The room smelled clean which is always nice. The breakfast was good. Best to get there early to avoid crowds. There was a decent selection of breads, cereals, oats, muffins, fruit, hot eggs, meat and potatoes. You can take things back to your room if it's too busy to find a seat. This hotel is directly across from Disneyland. Just across the road. It's closer than the Disneyland Hotel which is great. I will definitely stay here again!

« Perfect location to Disneyland and TOP NOTCH STAFF!!! »

My son (age 7) and I had stayed at the Best Western Park Place Inn in summer of 2015 for a Disneyland trip so we wanted to return again in summer of 2016. This year, we were arriving late (after 10pm on a Saturday) so I had called several times to make sure that was noted on my reservation, and also to request that we have a room close to the lobby. I like being close to the lobby when traveling as a single parent with a small child. The staff at this hotel was amazing last summer (July 2015) and this time (July 23-29 2016) was no exception! We arrived at approximately 10:30pm via a Super Shuttle transfer. When we went to check in, we were helped by Ivonne, a young dark haired woman at the front desk. She was also working with Bailey. I gave my ID and info and asked to make sure I was close to the lobby as requested. My room was on the back side of the hotel past the swimming pool, which was much farther than I wanted. I let her know that I had called several times to make sure I was noted as a late check in and also close to the lobby. She worked for a few minutes and located a closer room for me. What I didn't know, was that my boyfriend had sent me flowers from Missouri to Anaheim, and they had already been delivered to my room, the one that was farther away from the lobby. With the utmost professionalism and a smile, Ivonnne pointed to something on the computer screen for Bailey, and then told Bailey to ?go ahead and do what she needed to do?. Ivonne then reassigned me to a closer room as requested. As soon as my son and I opened the door to our room, just a few minutes later, the flowers were in my new room! I was absolutely amazed!!!! Not only did I received a delivery which I was surprised with, but when I was complaining at the desk about not being close enough, Ivonne moved me and she also had Bailey go move the flowers!!! This was amazing and customer service at its finest. This was absolutely above and beyond in my opinion! I really appreciate that they took that extra step and went above and beyond to not only accommodate me, but also to take it upon themselves to immediately go and move the flowers as I was getting my key. It was really magical and we weren't even in Disneyland! That was an amazing start to our stay at the Best Western Park Place Inn, and the rest was wonderful. This hotel is in the PERFECT location, right across the walkway from the Disney Entrance. The staff is always patient, kind and smiling. The breakfast next door at Captain Kidd's is plentiful and easy to access. The rooms are always spotless, and the pool as well. We spent a few hours on 2 different days of our 6 night stay at the pool. It was clean and well attended. I noticed that every hour, there was a man who came out and took water samples. Every hour!!! One day the pool was closed, so we were directed 4 buildings down and were able to use the pool at a sister hotel. Our overall stay was fantastic on all 6 nights! On our last day, we were flying out in the evening and didn't need to leave the hotel until 3:00pm. I talked to someone at the front desk, and they held our luggage and allowed my 7 year old to use the pool until we left. It was very gracious and MUCH APPRECIATED! This hotel has a top notch staff!!!

« Great Hotel & Easy Walk to Disney »

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel and how easily we could walk our family across the street to Disneyland. Many places advertise a convenience to Disney, but this one can't be beat, and the price is extremely fair. Nice, clean rooms and friendly staff. We would absolutely stay here again on another trip to Disney.

    « Great Value »

Stayed here two weekends in June. It is literally right across the street from the entrance to Disneyland. The buffet breakfast that is included is substantial and good. The room was a decent size and the beds so comfy after a long day at Disney. Parking is 10 dollars a night. You can sit out front of the hotel and watch the nightly fireworks display. The only downside to this place is the pool. There is absolutely no ambiance to it. It is on the smaller side and almost completely in the shade by 3pm. If they would even add plants it would help make this feel more resort like. Other than that, it was a great value for the price. (150/night)

« You can't go wrong with this hotel! »

We love the Park Place Inn. I hate to give it such positive reviews because it is already difficult getting a reservation! We enjoy the convenient location to the park. It is quicker to get to the hotel from the entrance of either DIsneyland or California Adventure, than it is to get from the back of either park to the front gate. We like to check in the night before our Disney days start, get some food and snacks from Target just down the road about a mile, and then visit Downtown Disney (within 15 minute walk to the back of Downtown Disney). Then we head back to our hotel, and comfy beds, to get ready for our adventure! The breakfasts are superb. Hot food, make your own Sausage/Egg/Cheese/Ham Muffins, yogurts, cereals, pastries, fruit, drinks. Then head to the park! If you call the front desk the room will be cleaned before you get back for a lunch and nap (that's how we maximize our time at the park, so the kids aren't worn out). Then back to the park for the rest of the day! Parking is only $10/day and very convenient, although the parking spaces are a little tight for larger vehicles. There is a gift shop, business center, remodeled lobby, swimming pool, what else could you ask for! Its also really close to several restaurants on Harbor, Mimis is one of our favorites, just north a couple of blocks. You really can't go wrong with this hotel! Thanks to a great staff and great service!

Nothing fancy, but, this is literally across the street from the main gate. I would stay here again for that reason alone. The rooms are comfortable and clean, nothing fancy. Lots of restaurants close by if you want something to eat before going into the parks.

« Great value, great location »

Comfortable hotel with plain but very serviceable amenities. Free breakfast was very good. Location ideal for visiting Disneyland parks. We were able to leave the parks several times during the day as needed to rest or change clothes because the hotel is literally across the street from the parks. Great value!

    « Perfect Location »

This hotel is exactly in front of the entrance to Disney. Walk across the street and you are at the park entrance. And the rooms are comfortable with a microwave and a refrigerator. Staff is very helpful. There are child friendly restaurants (Captain Kidds, Dennys, IHOP) next door. There is a small pool but who wants a pool with Disney so close. Nightly rate is much less than that of a Disney hotel. We flew into/out of Long Beach and the cab fare was about $50. You can see the Disney fireworks from an area quite near the hotel. There is a free breakfast and it is quite good. Some other reviewers have discussed the availability of grocery stores within walking distance. What we found was that there are some convenience stores (CVS) but that they had little in the way of groceries. If you want groceries, you will need a car. One item of advice on Disney: they have airport style security and do not allow certain items including selfie sticks into the parks. So, don't bring your selfie stick or its confiscated. This hotel is a very good deal. There are lots of others down the street but you have to walk or wait for the buses and with tired children that can become an issue.

« Excellent hotel close to Disney »

Hotel was just in front of Disneyland. It only took us a couple of minutes to get to the front entrance! We were given a room in the back and it was very quiet. Breakfast was great with a variety of items to choose from. Would definitely recommend this hotel if visiting Disneyland.

« AWESOME LOCATION - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ALL EMPLOYEES!!! »

Came to Disneyland for a Mother, Daughter trip. On our first night the power went out on the entire street, I guess a transformer had blown. I have to say the maintenance and the staff were great at making sure we were ok. My daughter and I loved how close of a walk it was to Disneyland and the free breakfast was perfect. Rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfy. We are already looking forward to coming back again next year and yes we will stay here again. Thank you Best Western!!!

    « Location, location, location »

This is a tired hotel and the rooms have seen their better days, but you aren't staying here for the accommodations. It is literally right across the street from the walk to the front gate of Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. We spent two nights here and during our day at Disneyland we were able to make the short walk back for a nice, long break in the middle of the day. The pool area was dirty, but the pool itself seemed clean and the kids had fun in it. The hot tub on the other hand was down right gross. The free breakfast was actually served next door at Captain Kidd's restaurant and it was pretty weak. Thankfully they served cold cereal and yogurt, although the kids didn't mind the hot items. Again, the place is not great, but you cannot beat the location. We would stay here again for a night or two if we come back to Disneyland. Just set your expectations low and remember you're there for Disney and you'll be fine.

« closer than staying in a Disney hotel »

Talk about magical!! You literally cannot get any closer to Disneyland if you tried!! I believe this hotel is even closer to the parks than some of the official Disney hotels. The location is the #1 reason to book this hotel, however, it was not a bad place to stay regardless. This was our first trip to Disneyland and I booked this hotel based on it's proximity to the parks and previous experiences with Best Western hotels. It was exactly what we were looking for. The price was reasonable, breakfast was included - nothing fancy, but more than just donuts and cereal - and we could literally see the fireworks from the balcony outside our room!! This is still a motel so it's nothing fancy but the room was fairly large (I think we had an accessible room) with a bed, dining area, desk, mini fridge and a good size bathroom. My one complaint is having to pay for parking, but that seems fairly standard for any of the Disney-area hotels. Again, it's all about the location - literally cross Harbour Blvd and pass the bus loading area and you're at the parks - but the hotel met all our other expectations as well!!

« Perfect location and good service »

What can I say about the rooms? Its a Best Western. The location, however, is good as it gets for anyone going to Disneyland. The main entrance to the parks is across the street so that in 5 minutes walking you are at the entrances to both parks. In addition, the ability to park at the hotel is high value as well. The staff are friendly and helpful.

« Very Poor customer service »

This hotel was not too bad for being close to Disneyland. The rooms were not the cleanest but were ok. The breakfast was ok but they ran out of stuff a lot. The hotel lost all credit for me with the check-out experience. The receptionist was rude. There was an issue with the way that she was processing my card causing it to decline on Visa's side. I called my bank and was on the phone with them for an hour while we waited for the receptionist to figure out that she was processing it wrong and it took the reservations supervisor coming out to get the problem resolved. During which time the original receptionist even had the nerve to tell me that I needed to talk with someone else at my bank because the one I was speaking to did not know what he was talking about. Very rude and disrespectful service. Will not stay there again!

« It would have been a good stay without the front desk personnel »

I really like the fact that I could go right across the street from Disneyland to a room that I could rest in, however that didn't happen with the front desk personnel's rudeness and the room door not working.

    « Great Stay!!! »

Great stay, great staff and good breakfast. This hotel is so convenient to Disneyland. Just a walk across the street to Disneyland Park, Disneyland California Adventure and Downtown Disney. We had been road tripping across California and it was so nice to be able to park the car for three days and enjoy walking to our destinations.

    « Very clean »

We were going to Disneyland and I was surprised to find out we were right across the street. It was very clean and quite will stay again. Breakfast was very good was impressed with the fact they let you take your food to your room if you want to. My daughter and grandson had breakfast in bed since I let them sleep in.

This was our first stay at Best Western Park Place Inn and we were very pleased with everything. The hotel was clean, beds were comfy, free breakfast was great with lots of choices, and free wi- fi was good too. You cannot beat the location. This is my first choice hotel for Disneyland Resort.

    « Needs an overhaul »

Yes I agree it is the best location, unless you stay in the park, but seriously bad customer service at check in! Not the best way to start your 3 night stay. We asked if we could get a late check out, "Yes 12 o'clock" was the not so pleasant reply. OK, we will work with that. We came back down to reception to get park tickets, and a different person on the desk and unfortunately someone equally as rude. The slowest lift that smelt really bad all the time. The room was large with 2 beds of average comfort, and the bathroom is very dated. I agree with some of the other reviews, the carpet in the rooms is in desperate need of steam cleaning if they are not going to refurbish the entire property. We had house keeping banging on the door at 11am after they told us 12 was ok to checkout. Overall was just ordinary.

    « Best location!!! »

Great staff, best location, breakfast of champions.... (nice savings for parents), spacious rooms. Highly recommended for visiting Mickey Mouse & friends. I would go back for sure! Building is well built so no noises heard from neighbors.

    « Excellent Location! »

We stayed here for 2 nights, July 23, 24th. This location is right across the street from Disneyland. We walked out of our room and at Disneyland in about 5 min. Do note that our room was not very far from the lobby. Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had no outside noise disturbances. The air-conditioning unit is kind of loud and would be a nuisance if you aren't use to having some noise while you sleep. This did not bother us as we sleep with a fan on at home. Everyone we met was very friendly. Being a WDW vet and not really understanding how Disneyland worked, I was a little hesitant on booking a hotel. Reading trip advisor and following peoples suggestions hasn't steered me wrong yet! I would most certainly stay here again and we had no problem parking right outside our room. We were on the first floor.

« Very Convenient Hotel due to Location »

Traveled with family of 4 with 2 kids aged 8 and 10. Stayed for 3 nights from March 25-28, 2016. PROS: 1. GREAT LOCATION- Exactly right across the entrance to the Disneyland parks. 5 minute walk to the gates. Many restaurants around the area to choose from. If only because of this, I rated this hotel Very Good. 2. Large spacious rooms- with a sitting room and couch 3. VALUE for MONEY- Reasonable price for what you get. Although quite dated, it wouldn't really matter as you are out most of the day. 4. Well stocked with amenities as well as microwave. We never used it though. 5. Efficient, friendly and accommodating staff - Answers queries promptly. Very courteous and cheerful staff. 6. Free buffet breakfast- Nothing fancy but complete. Combination of hot food (eggs/sausages) and cereals and fruit. Will definitely prepare you for the day at the parks. 7. They give you 15% discount vouchers for use at the Disney gift shop at the lobby. 8. Coin operated washer and dryer available by the pool area. 9. Ice machines and vending machines also available. CONS: 1. Dated rooms- Rooms need to be renovated. Carpet seems musty and must be changed to a more modern design. Gave an 80's feel to the room. 2. Questionable cleanliness- Found the aircon dirty when we arrived but with one phone call, utility men came to clean promptly. Found a stain also on the bed cover when we arrived. It was immediately replaced by the cleaning lady upon my request. Made me doubt how clean the rooms really are though... 2. Small bathroom with an open sink area. I prefer enclosed bathrooms. TIPS: 1. Ask for a room on the second or third floor to get away from the noise of people walking outside. 2. Choose a room away from the elevator but in the wing above the main lobby for a shorter walk to the room from the park. 3. Book early as rooms run out fast. 4. Breakfast buffet- Go early to avoid the crowds. Preferably before 9am. For the price, you can't go wrong. I hope they update the rooms and change the carpeting soon though. Despite the aforementioned CONS, it was generally a good experience for us. Will go back.

« Best choice for Disneyland! »

We stayed here at our recent Disneyland trip this past week. Upon reserving online, I requested early check in, 2 double beds and to be on the 1st floor. At check in, they acknowledged all of my requests and made the whole check in process super quick, friendly and smooth! I appreciated that. Side note: the lobby was spacious and large and had a little gift shop inside. Our room was as expected--average, outdated but clean. My husband asked if I smelled "that"? I said, you mean "old"? Yes but you also see that it was clean. I even tried to be humorous and do a little inspection I learned from watching Hotel Impossible lol! No dust! No marks on sheets! Very clean! Cleanliness is important with 2 little ones!! I do wish the carpet could be thoroughly steam cleaned after every person but come on, I know that's not realistic for the housekeeping! My only complaint would be the breakfast buffet next door at Captain Kidd's Restaurant-- yikes, talk about the blandest food on the planet. We resorted to eating cereal, since the muffins tasted stale and everything else like cardboard. Eek no thanks. Anywho.. Location is second to none. It's a no-brainer-- you simply cross the intersection and book you're amidst Disney Euphoria! And after a long day of walking around the park, you'll high 5 yourself because you don't have to walk very far to get some rest! We'll be back!!

« Closest property to the entrance »

Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff was very friendly. Great free breakfast buffet in the morning, a full breakfast not just pastrys and drinks. Hotel is old but it's not bad for what you are using it for. A/C was cold . We didn't use the pool. The parking is very tight. Had to climb in from the passenger side to the drivers seat because some inconsiderate person blocked in my drivers side door. They charge $10 a night parking, not bad. The hotel is directly in front of the walk way to disneyland. Restaurants are very close, one next door. Will definitely stay here again.

« Excellent location and customer service but so-so rooms »

We stayed here for a quick two day trip to Disneyland Resort. Major factor in staying here was that they took our Disney Reward dollars and the location. We arrived early on Wednesday morning--check-in was a breeze and we were able to leave our car in the lot for the duration of our stay, enabling us to walk to the park. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a mini-suite, so that was a bonus and gave us much needed room for the three of us. The suite was on the second floor--the doors to all the rooms are on the outside. It was relatively quiet through the night. There were two queen beds and a pull out sofa. The air conditioner ran constantly, but despite that it never became too cool (it was 95 degrees F during the day). Beds were comfortable, although the sofa bed was not especially comfortable. Also in the room were a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker. A warm continental breakfast is offered next door at Captain Kidd's. This is not the full buffet at that restaurant--just the normal warm breakfast typically offered at economy hotel chains. That's not to say it was bad--it was fine--just to clarify. For location to Disneyland and California Adventure, you can't beat this hotel. It took us about 10 minutes to get to the gates of both (they face one another). I believe this is quicker than either of the two of the three Disney hotels and closer than the main parking lot. All-in-all, a very good location with decent rooms. My only quibble would be that the room was on the darker side.

    « Can't Beat the location »

This place was clean, staff was nice and the location was great. The free breakfast buffet was very good considering the continental breakfast most hotels offer. It is literally right across the street across from Disneyland, this was great for heading back to the room in the afternoon for my 4 year year to grab a nap and recharge before heading back for more in afternoon. Very pleased we decided to stay here.

« Affordable, clean and convenient choice near Disney »

After doing much research on the hotels in the Disney area, we decided to stay here on our recent 3 day trip to Disneyland. We were extremely satisfied with our decision! The staff was helpful and accommodating. We dropped our luggage and car seats at the hotel prior to check in on our 1st day in the area to head to the parks, which made things super convenient for us. They also were very responsive any time we had a question or request for the room. The location was key---so close to the park entrances, making it easy to get to the parks easily in the morning without waking up at the crack of dawn and also making it possible to take a break in the afternoon without losing hours out of our day traveling back and forth to the room. The rooms were very large and clean--more than enough space for 4 people, our abundance of luggage, and 2 car seats. The only possible criticisms: the breakfast at Captain Kidd's was a bit bland and disappointing but for a free continental breakfast, I guess you can't be too picky! the decor of the rooms was a little dark and could use some updating/brightening up the walls were a little thin and you could hear the people in the room next door talking loudly when they woke up in the mornings. Overall though we couldn't be happier with our choice to stay there and would definitely stay again if we return to the area!

    « Honeymoon at Disneyland »

This was a great hotel to stay at for our honeymoon at Disneyland. Everything was nice and clean and all the staff there was friendly and helpful. Parking can be a little tight for larger vehicles but it's the same parking as every hotel in the area. The room layout with the king bed was very nice. The breakfast is next door and upstairs in the Captain Kidd buffet. They had a great breakfast selection and a delicious mango juice. Overall a great hotel to stay in. It's the closest hotel to Disneyland, you cross the crosswalk right in front of the hotel and it's about a 2 minute walk straight ahead to the park entrance. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Disneyland or other areas of Anaheim. Make sure to sign up for the rewards program and use a AAA discount if you have AAA

« Great location and close to Disneyland »

My trip to Disneyland started off rocky. The other Best Western had cancelled my reservations by mistake and they were able to hook me up with this Best Western which was closer to the park and about the same price. The breakfast that is included in the price of the hotel is located on the second floor of Captain Kidd's buffet. I know some people complain about the breakfast but truly, you are paying for a room that includes breakfast with Disneyland across the street. It is a good value. Our room was near the stairs which did get noisy at times when other patrons returned from they day back to the hotel but overall, my son and I could go back to our room and rest when we needed to during our trip. The staff there were nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

« Perfect Location and Friendly staff »

Couldn't ask for a better location, straight across from the entrance to the park. Was perfect for wandering back during the day and having a little break before jumping back into all the Disney action. The breakfast offered a good range of healthy options and "treats" which made both Mom and the kids happy. The staff were wonderful. We had booked two nights and then made better than anticipated progress driving from Sedona. They not only were able to provide the extra night, they offered a good discount. Also helped with sorting our Disney tickets (as we were there an extra day!) and planning our final days navigation of LA. Super.

    « Great find. »

This is a reasonably priced, clean, friendly 3 star hotel within easy walking distance of Disneyland. The complementary breakfast is good to acceptable. Parking can be difficult but the staff can move some of their cars out, if asked. The next door hotel seems to have more parking if needed. You can see the fireworks from the 3rd floor level.

    « Great breakfast »

I have stayed here for the past 20 years. It is always clean and staff is very pleasant. Really like the remodeling. Kids enjoyed the pool after a long day at Disneyland. My girls did the Tinkerbell run which was very organized.

« Awesome Staff, Perfect Location »

We stayed here for one week in July. The staff were very helpful, kind and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and the service the best ever. We were most impressed by the staff. Everyone was extra helpful and friendly. When we needed the room for our daughter in law and granddaughter, no problem and no extra charge. Our grandchildren spent the night two at a time and loved the pool, the breakfast and the convenience of going a few steps to the stoplight and crossing the street to my favorite place, Disneyland.

« Great location for Disneyland Resort access »

It is a very good location if you are visiting Disneyland. The hotel is just accross the enterance of Disneyland. If you are staying with your family the rooms are quite big enough. We stayed 3 adults which we had enough space for all of us in the room. The cleaning service is very good. Reception was very helpful giving the instructions in detail. You can buy Disneyland ticket through hotel. There is carpark available to the hotel guests with $10 per day charge. The breakfast is very poor but there are restaurants next to the hotel like ihop, Mcdonalds.

« Great location.... great stay! »

Had a wonderful experience with our hotel stay! We had a room next to the pool, the location was great and convenient with 2 little ones having to come back for naps,so close to disney entrance. Continental breakfast was decent, with many options, and was better than the last hotel we stayed at. Can't really complain because its included. Pool area kept well maintained and clean,we saw them test the water a few times a day. We will definitely come back here again, all the staff were very friendly.

« Right across the street from Disneyland! »

We really liked this Best Western. It was so close to Disney! Being Disney World people it was extra nice to be so close to the gate. The room was pretty big. We had the two queen with a pull out suite. It had a bigger little fridge and microwave. The shampoos , soaps and conditioners were nicer , hight quality than most hotels. Pop machine was $2 which is decent now days. The breakfast is hot, full breakfast but not as good as other BW's we've stayed at. The staff is nice and helpful especially the security guard. There is a scooter rental downstairs which we needed unexpectedly. Overall a high recommendation.

    « Great Location »

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were able to enjoy a comfortable night of sleep before heading to Disneyland for the day. The breakfast was good and offered a variety of options. This location is fantastic as only a walk across the street to access the main gates of both parks.

    « Disneyland .. You Can't Beat the Location »

My family choose this hotel due to its proximity to Disneyland. We stayed in room 107 and had a connecting room next to our family which made it great for the kids to play when we were in the room. As the other reviews have said.... You can't beat the location. Directly across the street from the park entrance. It felt so good to walk to our hotel to take a break or at the end of the day and SKIP shuttle rides or additional lines. The hotel itself is very "motel" like. This isn't the type of hotel that I would want to hang out in all day. This is the type of place to sleep, shower and then head to Disney. I read in another review that renovations are expected. That would be awesome because the rooms are dated and the furniture is icky..... Like layers of the finish are rubbing off??. I greatly appreciate the mini refrigerator(stored lots of water and snacks for the kids) in the room and the sleeper sofa. These arrangements made sleeping comfortable for everyone. There is a daily $10.00 charge for parking but you can come and go as you please. The room rate included breakfast at captain Kidds restaurant. We dined there the first morning but didn't return because we weren't hungry for breakfast the next morning. The food was just ok. There was a hot buffet with sausage, eggs, pancakes, muffins then a cold side with fruit, yogurt, cereals etc. beverages included coffee, milk and juices. There are quite hours in the evening starting at 8pm (however the Disney Fireworks start in the 9pm hour) they are very loud so just expect the noise during that time. I will stay at this hotel again purely for the location and the sleeping arrangements. The staff was friendly and accommodating. you just can't beat the convenience.

« Outstanding location and nice room »

This motel is located directly across from the main entrance to Disneyland. It's hard to get any closer than that, and with a AAA rate of $143 including breakfast, it's a great value. Our room had a king bed and a queen sofa bed. There were nice amenities, the staff was courteous and provided great service, and there were good food options nearby. The only downside, which was minor for us, was that the free wifi had such a weak signal that it barely worked and we didn't have much success connecting to the internet without it, either. However, our room was good sized and clean, everything worked, there was a m/w and dressing area with sink outside the bathroom, which is a big plus to me. Bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage--a full closet plus several drawers.

We had the very last room at the end of the hotel, and it was probably the quietest night stay we have ever had. The bad part is that we had to wait till almost 3 to check in. I dont think they accomodate early check ins. Never the less, it was a nice stay, and the breakfast was pretty good as well. I recommend this hotel to travelers.

    « Location, That's all »

The location could not be better if you are going to Disneyland. It's the closest hotel besides the Grand Californian, but it's 75% less per night. The breakfast was good, finding a table was always a challenge, but a 10-15 minute wait at most. Our hotel room was at the back of the property on the top floor, which is not ideal for park goers with children. I requested a 1st floor near the front of the hotel, but they were not able to meet my request. The tv stand was dirty and sticky. There were also cob webs on the ceiling. Other than that, the room was good.

Location, Location, Location A person could not have a better location for a Disneyland Vacation! We had two small children along and it was so nice nice to catch a shuttle bus after a long day in the park. It was so nice to leave in the afternoon for a few hours and easily return in the evening. Also having Captain Kidds next door for breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely stay there again!

« Perfect for Disney Park access »

I booked one night in this hotel in order to be near our family members visiting from out of town. We planned to go to Disney California Adventure for the day and I was told that this hotel is virtually across the street from the entrance to the parks. The hotel is indeed within steps to the entrance to the parks and if it is convenience that you are looking for, this fulfills that requirement. This is what I might call a bare bones hotel - no frills. Parking is self parking, you take your own bags to the room. Check in is quick and efficient. The room features an individual air conditioning unit which is somewhat noisy, and has a small fridge which, in our room, made a humming noise which kept me awake. The room also features a microwave which we did not use. Rooms are not what I would call quiet - anyone walking by outside the room can be heard loud and clear. Again, this is not a luxury hotel - but it is a convenient hotel if you are here to attend the Disney parks. We had a room where breakfast is included - this was a kind of cafeteria style breakfast, plastic forks and spoons, paper cups, a few selections like waffles, eggs, and cereals. People are friendly, relaxed, and informal. Definitely kid friendly, stroller friendly. Our room had a very low, very small toilet better suited to a child than an adult. If this is important to you I would ask for a room with a higher fixture if this is available.

This hotel is directly across the street from Disneyland. The cross walk is just a few steps from the Hotel lobby. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. They have a "quiet time zone" which is very nice for those of us who don't stay up too late. Parking is tight but I have always managed to find a spot. Internet access is free and speedy. Best of all, the staff are very friendly and really make one feel at home.

    « A Great Neighbor Hotel »

I recently stayed at this hotel for six nights total while I went to Disneyland. They were very friendly, answered any question I had, and had clean rooms and comfy beds. The morning breakfasts were also so quick and easy, making it a no brainer to stop in to eat a quick bite before heading off for a day of magic and fun.

« Best Place to stay when going to Disneyland! »

Just returned from our trip to Disneyland; we've stayed at the BW Park Place Inn too many times to count! We were there 6 nights with granddaughter and her step-sister. It was great to be so near the entrance to Disneyland. Seriously, even the Disney hotels are a further walk than the BWPPI, and way more expensive. We come to "do" Disneyland, not to stay in a fancy/expensive room. We love the complimentary breakfast, it truly has something for everyone. My granddaughter loved the "round" scrambled eggs. :) Both girls had a terrific time in the pool. Again, it's not fancy, but they sure didn't care. With the hot weather S. Calif. was experiencing, it was such a nice, refreshing break in the afternoon and the girls had a ball. We've been on various floors, were on the 2nd this time; yes, the elevators are slow, but we're not opposed to taking the stairs, so that certainly was not an issue for us. Over the years we've stayed there, I've become acquainted with the manager, Lillian, and feel like we're best friends! She gave me a sneak peek at sample room that has been refurbished so I could see what the rooms will look like when their remodeling is done. Awesome!! Some reviewers mention the noise from fireworks, or guests coming back late after an evening in the park. But, hello, it's Disneyland! That's to be expected. I love the convenience of being right across the street - there are many hotels that provide a shuttle back and forth if they're not within walking distance, but that's not for me. I want to be on my own schedule, not dependent on a shuttle. In addition, a couple years ago, Lillian recommended AMG Transportation rather than using a cab and we've called upon them ever since. Clean, dependable cars with excellent drivers. They even provide booster seats if needed so you don't have to haul one with you when traveling. I highly recommend this hotel!!

« Best hotel off the property »

If you're looking for an affordable hotel off property, this is it! The park is a quick 5 minute walk from the hotel lobby. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Each bed had a ton of pillows, which made for a great night sleep. If you're a coffee drinker, go to the mini mart in the hotel next door. They have a cafe that has great espresso drinks. The complimentary breakfast is not great, but you get what you pay for. I just got fruit and bagels. They also serve potatoes, French toast or pancakes, pastries, cereal, and more. There are really steep stairs up to the breakfast area. You can't take a stroller up there, so be prepared to leave it out front or downstairs. The staff is amazing and super friendly. I forgot my phone charger so they loaned me one for the couple nights I was there. I've stayed here a few times, and will make it my regular spot.

This motel is literally right across the street from the Disneyland entrance. The rooms were clean, it had a pool and there was a buffet breakfast that was much better than expected with feature items that changed daily

« Great Hotel next to Disneyland! »

Great place to stay and right across the street from Disneyland! This property is a very short 5 minute walk to the front entrance gates into Disneyland. Clean rooms, nice daily breakfast and friendly staff make this a wonderful place to stay for the family!

    « Disneyland!!! »

We booked this hotel through Disneyland.com, as they are a "Good Neighbor" hotel with the resort. The hotel was very clean, and very close to the parks and Downtown Disney!! The hotel is located directly across the street from the park entrance, and is only about a 3 minute walk to the gates! We had a two-double bed room, which wasn't really conducive for just me and my wife (would've preferred a King or Queen), but all we were there to do was sleep and shower. The hotel can be a bit noisy at night due to the proximity to the parks, but let's be honest here: you're at Disneyland!!! The hotel also offers a complimentary "hot" breakfast each morning next door at Captain Kidd's buffet. The choices we had alternated between sausage and ham for meats, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and fruit. They also serve pastries, cereals, and other "Continental" breakfast items. Their coffee was really good!! The breakfast was pretty good, but if you are one of those people who complain about everything (because let's face it, some people just can't be happy...Don't believe me, just keep reading reviews!!) there is an IHOP and Denny's next door, and a McDonald's about a block north, and they do not "gouge" their prices based upon their proximity to Disneyland. I will say this: AVOID CAPTAIN KIDD'S for other meals! Overpriced, and not good!!

« Really close to Disney »

This hotel was the closest hotel you can get to Disney land. It was closer to walk from the hotel to Disney than it would be to park in the Disney parking lot and walk to the shuttle. However your vehicle had to be out of the hotel parking lot by 3 on the day you check out. So if you plan on going to Disney the same day you check out, you'll have to move your car. The breakfast buffet was really good and opened at 6:30 so you can make the magic morning time. The room itself was very basic, but comfortable. We spent so little time in the hotel, it suited our needs just fine. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

« Awesome Location right by Disneyland! »

Perfect location! Great midrange priced hotel! This is the 3rd Best Western property we have stayed in near Disneyland and our favorite thus far . I believe it is the closest hotel to Disney other than the Grand Californian. It was a super short walk to the main gates of both Disneyland and California Adventures. The hotel itself was clean, maintained and perfect for our days at the parker. They include a daily breakfast that actually is very good . The room was fine. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. I will definitely be booking another stay at this hotel.

    « Disney »

It was nothing but perfect and I can't wait to plan my next visit at this hotel!!!...love that it was half a block from Disney and breakfast was great...rooms were comfy and so pleasant...my little kids loved the pool!!!..staff was great, I recommend this hotel

    4
    « Nice! »

The rooms were clean and lovely. Plenty of space and directly across the stree from Disneyland!! Perfect for late night from Disneyland theme parks. Parking is tight and the loby was busy, but the staff was very friendly and professional.

    « Another great experience »

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel in the last 3 yrs. You cannot beat the location when visiting the Disneyland parks. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet is very pleasing and a great variety to accommodate different diets. I have used the laundry facility on two of my trips and they have been clean. My only complaint is that the bed in this room was lumpy and at the end of a long Disney day you need something comfortable.

    3
    « Great location »

Can't beat the location - directly opposite the main gate for the theme parks. Basic rooms but did have a fridge and a microwave (no safe). Was disappointed my request for 2 doubles couldn't be fulfilled, despite booking months in advance. Sofa bed is poor quality and I'm glad I didn't have to sleep on it. Area is quiet (except when fireworks go off at Disneyland at 930pm). Kids loved the pool. Breakfast included (off site) but we only had it the first day as we were at the theme parks at 8am each day. Fair choice.

    4
    « Good convenient hotel »

As this hotel is located opposite the entrance to Disneyland it is very convenient and you will save a lot of $ compared to staying at one of the Disney hotels. I would describe it as a good, basic family friendly hotel. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy and the staff were nice and friendly. Quite a lot of food options close by such as Dennys, iHop and McDonald's.

    3
« Dated!!! Except for the lobby.... »

We stayed here for 2 nights so we could go to Disneyland. The door on our first room had a huge gap starting just below the door handle getting wider going down to the floor. We exchanged rooms and everything was ok from there. The rooms were dated and smelled of some type of foul cleaner. We have stayed at 10+ Best Westerns and were disappointed with this one. We would try another location if we come back.

« Best hotel to stay for Disneyland trip »

I mean it! Planning a trip to Disneyland? Do yourself a favor and stay here! Closer to the park entrance than the Disneyland hotel and way cheaper! You literally just walk across the street and you are there! Clean rooms, friendly staff, awesome complimentary breakfast! Will definitely be staying here for all of my Disneyland trips!

    4
    « Worth It! »

Stay here if you are doing Disney. Your feet will thank you! My room was next to the laundry (128) and very noisy but ear plugs did the trick! Slept great! Kids loved the pool and the staff were wonderful people!

    « Trip of a life time »

After a wonderful 6 week holiday, to cap it all of we are finishing it of with a four day stay in LA, and what a way to finish! Right across the road from Disneyland, location, location. Staff have been great, food is good and the room is large, clean and everything you would need. Tours, shops and restaurants are all next door or all within walking distance. Have been very impressed. Thank you best western??

    « Very happy customer! »

My family and I had the best stay. Very comfortable easy access to Disneyland, free breakfast excellent! Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean everything worked great. Oh the bed better than the one I have at home. Please keep your staff. We will be back next time.

    4
« Very short walk to Disneyland, quicker than any shuttle. »

Stayed here for four nights and it was so nice to walk back to your room for a break from the park. It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the front gates from your room. Room was very comfortable with most everything you need for a few nights. Breakfast in the mornings were a little busy unless you go early enough to beat the crowds. Didn't drive anywhere during our stay but if needed, the hotel had easy access to the freeway.

    4
    « Position Position Position! »

If you are on a budget, and want to visit Disneyland, you can't beat this hotel. Literally right across the road from Disney! Whilst the rooms are a little dated, they are still neat and clean. If you are at Disney for 12 hours of the day then who cares as long as it is clean. Staff are friendly and polite and very helpful. Don't get too excited about the buffet breakfast. Excellent value for money

    5
    « Great Disney Hotel »

The hotel staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, the best are comfy and you can beat the location. The breakfast is handled by Captain Kidds next door and could be better. We will stay here again for sure.

« Happy to finally find availability »

I have been searching online for availability and hoped somebody would eventually cancel... "BEST" advice/ just keep trying and call to speak to local reservations for helpful suggestions. Their advice was correct and I got my online reservation happily!

« Best location for Disneyland »

Park Place Inn and Mini Suites is just the perfect place to stay when visiting Disneyland. Just a few steps away from both theme parks. Close enough to come back for a jacket or a nap. The full breakfast has many choices for different appetites. The beds are very comfortable! The staff has always been helpful and accommodating every time we have stayed here. The room rates are a very good value. We prefer the mini-suite room for most of our visits. It is nice to have a refrigerator and a microwave in each room. We will be back!

    3
« Cheap, but not superb »

It's affordable with a good breakfast. The breakfast area was larger than most. Roomy rooms, but not 100% clean or maintained. Our TV didn't work, neither did our traveling companions'. Also, their deadbolt was broken off of the door jam. The location is great, a short walk to the Disney parks. Overall, just average. Nothing spectacular, but we also didn't go to sit in our motel room. Will be looking for a different hotel next time.

    « Closest to Disney »

Great hotel if your priority is being closest to the Disney parks. Very clean and breakfast is great. Nice to be close, especially if you have little ones, and need to come back during the day. Does cost more, but worth it for little feet, or simply to make it so that you are not carrying items all day long (someone can easily run back for jackets, snacks, etc if needed). Booking in advance is best, never had a problem cancelling or changing the dates as long as it is done prior to the cancellation cut off time.

    « Family trip »

24 of our family took a trip to Disneyland together, we booked five rooms and or suites at the Best Western. All of us were very pleased with our stay at the Best Western . The location was perfect and the rooms large and roomy, very clean. As always with hotels close to Disneyland parking was tight but much better that some of the other hotels in the area.

    4
    « Convenient Disneyland Hotel »

Perfect location for a family needing to pop back and forth from the park to the hotel. Clean, spacious rooms with a decent complimentary breakfast. Parking on site is optimal. Overall, great value for a Disneyland hotel.

    4
    « Disney Trip »

The location was ideal, beds were incredibly comfortable and our overall experience at the hotel was very enjoyable. Not too sure why the pool felt like salt water and didn't have enough chlorine in it, but the kids enjoyed it just the same.

    2
    « Sorry, but disappointed »

Loved the staff, but for the price that is paid, the rooms need to be updated. The only reason this location is booked so much is because of the proximity to Disneyland. In the future, unless changes are made, we would rather have to walk or take a bus. The food was obviously pre-prepared. We have stayed at other Best Westerns in the past and everything including the food has been up to the Best Western standard.

    5
    « Perfect location! »

We stayed here after arriving from an overnight flight from Australia, with two very tired kids May 11th till May 15th. Front desk staff checked us in to a room at 8.30 am, which was fantastic! Hotel room was clean, we had a queen and a pull out couch. Heated pool the kids enjoyed, and most importantly across the road from Disneyland! We were able to pop back and forth all day. Would recommend to families.

    4
« Great place to stay »

We stayed here as a family of four. We wanted accommodation not far from Disneyland with food outlets close by. 10 min walk to the gate and Downtown Disney. We basically only slept here as we spent all our time at the parks, Downtown Disney and shopping. Highly recommend if your after accommodation to just base yourself. If your after resort style accommodation you will be disappointed. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was included as well which is a bonus. Walking distsnce to many food choices and buses to take you to factory outlets and sights etc. Great location!!!

« Closest hotel to Disneyland! »

I cannot say enough good things about Best Western Park Place Inn. This hotel is very easy to access by car and has good parking. This is the closest hotel to Disneyland (aside from the Disneyland hotels inside the park). The main gates for Disneyland/California Adventure are directly across the street with the crosswalk right in front of the hotel. The staff are great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast is amazing and plentiful! The breakfast buffet offers a great range of hot and cold items. Every morning we had a choice of eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes, sausage or ham, plenty of fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast, bagels, cereals, hot and cold drinks, etc. For the value, I would not hesitate to stay here again, and I highly recommend this hotel to any budget conscious traveler that wants to visit Disneyland. This is a great hotel and a great value.

    4
« Great value, great location »

You can't get much closer to Disneyland than this hotel, right across the street. While the walk is still considerable, it's actually closer than if we had stayed in one of the Disneyland Resort hotels. The hotel is nothing fancy. It's an economy hotel, for people looking for a cheap place to stay. But we found it clean and comfortable.

    5
    « Awesome staff »

Great place to stay if you are going to Disneyland, just walk across the street. Wouldn't recommend if going for business, unless going to Disney. Noisy from outside, a lot of kids and rolling suitcases. lol But, love the convenience of so close to Disneyland and great breakfast

    « Our Stay »

This stay was part of our first big family vacation. I chose the Best Western because it was right across from Disneyland and I heard it was a good place to stay. During the check in the staff who assisted me was very helpful and friendly. As she checked us in, she let me know about the continental breakfast that was included and made sure I knew the best time go get there. Our room was nice and clean, the beds were OKAY, but the pillows were just not comfortable at all, they sunk right in and stayed flat the whole time. The breakfast was free so we took advantage of that. It was good and I was glad we got there early because it got pretty packed around 7 and if you get there too late, there is no where to sit. I have no complaints about our stay and I will be staying here again when we come back to Disney next year.

    « Disneyland Holiday. »

My husband and I travelled from Australia and stayed 8 nights with my daughter's family of 5 and my son's family of 6. We had 3 rooms side by side on the middle floor which adeqately slept the children with 2 queen and a double sofa bed/lounge in each room. The rooms were clean and we were given plenty of towels, toiletries,coffee/tea etc. Travelling so far with 7 children the laundry facilities next to the swimming pool were great. The breakfast was all we needed to start the day and we took a piece of fruit with us for later in the day. The biggest bonus was being across the road from the Disney entrance and we would return to the hotel for a rest with the children before returning later in the day. We have no complaints. All the staff we spoke to were pleasant and courteous and extremely helpful. Thank you.

« Great location and value »

    « Disney Trip »

Was a good place to stay for the money. I would not pay more than I did. Room was clean upon arrival but not cleaned very well throughout our stay. Breakfast was just average but better than sitting down and paying in a restaurant. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Very noisy with industrial trucks coming and going in early morning ours and an over abundance of birds chirping really really early. Something I am sure can not be helped. Overall happy with stay. Good bang for your buck on a budget.

« Over the road from Disney »

Just walk across the road and your in Disney that's how close you are. I was a bit worried about staying here as it was a motel but it was fine. We arrived at 9am, checked in and they stored our bags until our room was ready at 3. They have free wifi around the complex and in your room. We had cars parked outside our door, can't say I heard them. Breakfast was free, you got a choice of cereal, toast, bagels, fruit, pastries and cooked items. Breakfast was in the restaurant upstairs next door. The room itself was spacious with a sofa, tv, large bed, bathroom, plenty of electric sockets. The bed was comfortable There was a small pool but we never used it. We got up early every morning to get to the parks but why oh why did the cleaning cart have to go by our window at 6 am each morning? Crazy.

great location fair price free small buffet breakfast ... restaurant right across the side street of hotel.... (restaurant was not that good for the dinner buffet... seemed short of staff... had to ask for plates and "beg" for silverware, not a great night for dinner there) BUT hotel is very good.... very friendly.... pool.... gift shop.... and SOOO close to entrance of Disneyland....

    « This hotel needs a remodel »

Very uncomfortable sofa bed. Lock on door needed a repair. Bathroom faucet and sink faucet needed repairs. Put a sign out so people know, maid service will be done before 5pm, not noon. Was not aware of your policy till we returned to the room around 3:30 pm and called.

« Great location at a great price »

Great place to stay right next to the entrance to Disneyland. Inexpensive rooms with a decent breakfast included. Great for families. AC wasn't working but the weather was cool at the time. Pool is very small. Handy laundry area. Pleasant staff.

    « Disney trip »

The location is what you stay here for..Right across the street from Disneyland and a quick walk..Rooms are just average ..they are clean and the bed is very comfortable..The pull out sofa is not so great, but worked out fine for an 8 year old. The pool is quite small and not a really great looking area either but kids still had a fun time swimming. Breakfast is not Fab ,but it's adequate ..weird egg patties every day and sausage or ham and potatoes for the hot items also waffle or pancakes.. Yogurt, bagels, fruit etc it's enough to start your day .. It's not a fancy place by any means ,but when we go to Disneyland we aren't in the room anyway until late to sleep and can't really see spending $450+ /night at a Disney property just to sleep..this place is so easy to get to if you want to take a mid-day break and let the kids nap or for a quick happy hour and then go back for the evening at Disney..We will definitely be back on our next Disneyland vacay!

    « AWESOME STAY »

We just stayed at the Best Western for the past 5 nights to attend The Disneyland Tink Races and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to visit Disneyland. It is SO nice and convenient to the parks (you are right across the street) and eateries. All are in walking distance. We were even able to watch the fireworks from our hotel window and out front of the hotel. This is our second time staying here and will surely be back again.

« Excellent Choice by Disneyland Main Entrance »

The location of this resort is excellent, literally across the street from Disneyland's main entrance. We stayed here for the Tinkerbell Half Marathon and found it very accessible for the race, Expo, theme parks and DT Disney. The hotel is also conveniently located on the ART and has many shopping and dining venues available within 1-2 blocks, including Panera, Tony Roma, McDonald!s, CVS and Gardenwalk. The room was cety clean with an enormous, flat screen tv; remodelled bath with plenty of hot water, en-suite vanity, full closet with mirror and sofa sleeper. Staff were friendly and fabulous; they will hold your bags until your room is ready abd even after check out if you're planning last day visits to the park. Breakfast was great - always eggs, meat (ham or sausage), fried pitatoes, pancakes or fr toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, muffins, bagels and breads, cereal, assorted juices and coffee. It rubs from 6:30-10am, with a "to go" option available. Free wifi, small pool and on-site gift shop. This is a tremendous property and value!

« Good Value and Close to Disneyland »

We stayed here on the last night of our Disneyland trip, as the Grand Californian was sold out due to the Marathon Weekend. We had requested a room on the first floor but instead were given a room on the 3rd floor, furthest from the elevators. We had asked the staff at the front desk for directions back to the Alamo in Downtown Disney so we could drop off our rental and none of them even knew there was an Alamo located there. The room was very clean but the furniture was a bit worn. Wifi worked very well. Can't beat the location to Disneyland. It's literally across the street. If you are looking for an alternative to the Disneyland Resort hotels, this would be it.

    « Satisfaction Guaranteed »

We love to stay here on our visits to Anaheim, great value and great location for surrounding area. We love to walk across to Disneyland and have a break during the day in our motel before going back for the night entertainment. We love going to the Garden Walk and CVS while there and even a trip to Walmart.

« Great value for the price »

Very pleased with the staff and overall appearance of the hotel. The room furniture had its wear and tear. Few small items needed repair. Super close to Disney, ideal place to stay with the family. I would highly recommend the location, especially when planning a trip to Disneyland.

    « fun at Disneyland »

Myself and my husband, our son, his wife and their two children rented two connecting rooms and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The easy walk to the Disney locations, and the free breakfast were great. The kids enjoyed going back and forth between the two rooms and if one was napping we could comfortably hang out in the adjoining room. The location was the best possible.

    « Good Value »

BWPP was a great value. We had a 1 King with the sofa pullout. We stayed 2 nights and had no problems. Parking was a breeze, and multiple elevators on property was nice. Breakfast was decent. Nothing extraordinary, but at least they had protein options such as eggs, ham, and yogurt (it looked like they may sometimes offer Oatmeal too since there were toppings for oatmeal, but we didn't see any oatmeal the morning we ate breakfast there). BWPP is 1 of the 2 closest hotels to the crosswalk to the Disneyland Transit area. The decor is pretty outdated, but I don't care about that. I care about cleanliness (check), comfort (check), & location (triple check!) The pull out sofa bed was NOT comfortable, but they rarely are, it was was perfectly fine for my 5 year old daughter. The bathroom was in good shape and there was plenty of hot water. The room also featured at very large mini-fridge...it had a microwave too, but we had no need to use it. The closet was a good size, and I was also appreciative of the ample drawer space and HIGH placer to stash stuff on top of the TV Armoire (which is always important when traveling with a toddler!) This hotel will definitely remain high on my list of properties to check availability and pricing for future trips to Disneyland, with and without the kids!

« Great Hotel, Great Deal! »

Across the street from Disneyland and California Adventure Park entrances. Rooms are spacious and clean, while staff is very friendly. Your stay comes with a breakfast buffet. We also stayed at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, which was double the price without the breakfast, and same distance to the Parks. BW Park Place Inn is a much better deal!

    « It's all been said... »

All of the reviews are spot on. Clean, comfortable, across the street from the park. We stayed March 27th to April 1st. Room number was 278. A few things about this room: the window looks out over Harbor Blvd. Thought it might be noisy with all of the foot and car traffic, but it wasn't really noticeable. You can see the crosswalk to get onto Disney property from your window. There is a soda machine and an ice machine outside of the room, but I don't think most guests knew about it because it wasn't used very much. You COULD hear the ice machine loud and clear when someone used it, but again, it wasn't used much. The lobby is 2 stories tall. Nice thing about the room is you don't have neighbors on your left (when looking out the window) because of the lobby. Didn't hear any noise from the lobby at all. The room had 2 double beds- kind of small for a couple used to a King size at home, but it's not like we didn't know what we were getting. The first couple of days it was really cold and windy so I didn't really use the pool. My kids did and the water felt pretty warm considering the outside temperature. We went to the free breakfast a at Captain Kidd's a couple of times and it wasn't a bad breakfast buffet. I was actually shocked because we had eaten at Captain Kidd's on a previous stay and hated the food. Grounds were clean, but besides the pool area there isn't a sitting area anywhere outside. I'm a smoker so I smoked by my car. Reasonable price (for Anaheim), clean and as close to the parks as you can get without staying at the Grand Californian. What more can you ask for? Picture of the view from our room attached. Taken with an iPhone, no zoom. Notice on the left and across the crosswalk is the entrance sign into the resort.

    « Great Service & Location »

Excellent staff, very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good and the kids loved it. Directly across from Disneyland. We had a family suite on 3rd floor and it was fine even though with children, we preferred bottom floor. Overall experience was a great time at Disneyland.

« Great Location, closest hotel to Disneyland! »

This is the third time we stay at this hotel in a year. We decided to try other hotels next door but nothing compares to this hotel. The rooms are clean and large. My kids love the banana muffins they have for breakfast. The best part is that its right across from Disneyland. We will stay here again. The only thing we did not like is that the WIFI quicks you out and the $10 parking fee. Besides that, this is the only hotel we will stay at if visiting Disneyland.

« Fantastic stay for our family trip »

All the staff working here are fantastic. From the grounds people to the cleaning staff to the front desk staff. Everyone was super friendly and very helpful. I would strongly recommend you stay here.

« Great place for visiting Disneyland »

I was very impressed with how well this property is run and maintained, considering all of the traffic due to it's proximity to Disneyland. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was clean, comfortable and did not appear to be trashed by all the families that stay there for Disneyland. I had a leaky faucet that was fixed right away and I thought the cleaning staff maintained a cheerful and friendly attitude, even though I could tell they work very hard and have to endure a lot of inconsiderate guests.

    « Great Location »

Whenever we go to Disneyland Resort, we try to stay here because of the great location in relations to the resort. It is literally right across the street, which helps after a tiring day of running around the park. Another plus about this hotel is that the rooms have frigs and microwaves. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 rating is that they now charge you to park your car. The cost was $10 per day and it seems like a little thing compared to all the money spent at Disneyland, but it feels like they are nickel and diming. Overall, I would stay at this place again.

    « location, location, location »

Unless you pay the big bucks and stay in the Disney resort hotels, there is no other hotel that is more convenient to Disneyland. Rooms are typical motel rooms, but clean and well laid out. Breakfast buffet is listed as continental breakfast, but it is so much more. Had cooked eggs, meat (ham/sausage), fried potatoes and pancakes/waffles/french toast, as well as doughnuts, muffins, choice of cereals, etc. Our motel of choice when visiting Disneyland.

« Great Place to stay for Disneyland trips »

very nice, clean hotel. don't bother with gift shop in hotel - it is a joke. Wi-Fi keeps getting disconnected. additional charge for daily parking - even though you are a registered guest. Other than that, this is a great LOCATION to stay for the parks. The only other hotel closer is the Grand Californian that is IN the park. Already making plans for another stay - just hope they will do away with the additional parking fee.

« Right across the street from Disneyland »

My family and I stayed here for a week just recently, and I loved this motel. We had a king size bed and pullout sofa bed, a mini fridge, a microwave, free breakfast included, right down from the pool. It was a wonderful location, so quiet that it felt like we were the only ones there. The pool is small but my kids loved it, husband loved the hot tub, there's a shower there, laundry facilities, plenty of vending machines, and a bathroom in the pool area. The breakfast is next door on the second level of captain kidd's restaurant, and there was plenty of variety for a continental breakfast. It was kept clean and stocked. The microwave was very handy to have as we always brought back leftovers and the mini fridge worked really well. The little freezer even froze a bottle of water, so no complaints there. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of pillows. My 11 yr old slept on the sofa bed and it's a typical sofa bed and while she could feel the springs, she slept well on it. Plenty of large drawers for the 4 of us to share, along with plenty of outlets to charge our electronics. The noise level was non existent, never heard anyone on either side of us or above us. The fireworks woke me up the first night, but it's only for 20 minutes and early enough that it didn't bother us. Kids slept right through them! This motel is so close, we were able to go out on the sidewalk and watch them without thousands of people surrounding us, so that was a bonus. Location was fantastic, with the entrance to Disney right there, several restaurants that were in easy walking distance, a small store right next to us where we bought our milk and cookies at night for a snack, the vending machines were reasonably priced with a lot of choices.

« Great reasonably priced hotel in close proximity (5 min walk) to the Disneyland park »

We picked this hotel due to its close proximity (about 5 min walk) to the main entrance for California Adventure, Disneyland and Disney downtown. Although not fancy, we found the accommodations to be clean and sufficient for a vacation such as this where we were spending limited time at the hotel (we were at the parks from open to practically close for three days)! Even though there are no in-room safes, they do have safety deposit boxes similar to banks where two keys are required to open them (one kept by the hotel and one provided to the client) that are large enough to hold two good sized laptop computers. The free breakfast buffet next door was great to start off the day. Our only complaint is that the sofa bed was not comfortable - we should have gone with the Mini-Suite 2 Queens and Sofa Bed instead!

    « Great Hotel »

The hotel is very nice and has lots of amenities. The only downfall is their WiFi. It kept kicking me off and I had to keep logging in. But other then then the stay was great and the room was clean and very close to restaurants in the area. The staff is very nice as well. Very close to Disneyland which is why we decided to stay at this property. If's defiantly worth the little extra money.

« Great Hotel for Disneyland »

This is our second year staying at this hotel for a Disneyland trip. We love the convenience of the easy walk to the park. We love that there is parking available ($10/day). The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff we have interacted with have all been pleasant and helpful. The internet was great. The breakfast is good, though crowded, which is to be expected when all the families are trying to get to Disneyland at the same time. The kids loved being able to easily come back to the hotel for an afternoon break and swim in the pool.

« Closest accommodation to Disneyland »

We stayed for five nights last week to make our daughter's dream's come true by visiting the 'happiest place on earth' Disneyland. Staying here you are directly across the road from the main entrance seriously, you won't find closer, especially if you are looking for value for money. The rooms are a little on the dark side, but this is perfect for your two pronged Disney attack ie: visit early in the morning and when the kids are worn out, take them back to the room for a nap, recharge everyone's batteries and get ready to head back when the weather cools, for the evening show. There is everything you will need in the room, so it makes perfect sense to base yourself there. The room has a microwave, for making weary parents a cup of tea, heating food to cut down on expenses, and a guest laundry to plow through the washing that builds up. Good powerful air conditioning in the room. Very proactive maintenance team, who get onto any issues straight away. We were lucky enough to jag a ground floor room, so request ground floor room to save having to lug everything and everyone upstairs. A free continental/American breakfast is served in the upstairs dining room of Captain Kidds restaurant next door, and this is a good place to grab a banana or apple for your pocket for later in the day. We only had breakfast there one day as the choices whilst extensive were fairly sugary and processed. The beds are really comfortable, and I can vouch for the pullout sofa as well. Housekeeping staff are always around, and nothing is a bother, they are very polite and very hard working! There is a pool and spa to relax in, after you have worn yourself out at Disneyland. There are various fast food options just doors away. Tropicana Hotel next door has a convenience shop and good coffee! Our accommodation was booked by a third party and we didn't read the fine print about no parking available with the agency's contract, so we had to park 600 metres away at Anaheim Garden Walk at a cost of $24 per day, so make sure you read up on your reservation's fine print. Definitely stay here for your Disneyland experience accommodation.

« perfect for Disney trips! »

This place was walking distance to Disneyland. It is so convenient to not have to deal with Disney traffic when the park closes! Other than that, the rooms are clean and spacious. This is the only place I will use from now on when going to Disneyland.

« Fantastic Place to Stay »

We had our entire family making a trip to Disneyland and wanted something close by so we could walk and come back to the hotel if necessary. We had little kids under 5 so we had no idea how the trip would play out and wanted to be prepared. I highly recommend Best Western PLUS Park Place Inn. We had adjoining rooms which was really nice traveling with family. They provide a full hot breakfast in the morning and the stop light to Disneyland is literally right outside so it is a snap to get there. The rooms were very clean and priced reasonably. Not a complaint.

    4
    « Best Western Plus »

This is an awesome Hotel. It is right outside of the Disney pedestrian entrance. Great breakfast accommodating rooms for sleeping. I always recommend to everyone. You do have to pay for parking but it is usually very competitive in room price so you pay about the same amount as surrounding hotels.

    4
« Nice and close to the Disney Parks »

Had a very nice stay at this hotel. We were on the lower level as we wanted a king bed. However, our room was in an area in front of the hotel and was quite noisy what with the families heading to either breakfast or the park even though there is a sign that there is a quiet time. Kids will make noise especially when going to Disneyland!! Parking is minimal and hard to find. Spaces are kind of tight and there is a lot of car traffic coming and going at all times. Still liked the hotel very much, but would recommend rooms in the back of the hotel. The housekeeping staff were awesome and took very good care of us. The front office personnel were very friendly. This is a great hotel to stay at because is right across the street from Disneyland and California Adventure. We would stay here again. We had Room 109. Suggest rooms further to the end or back of the hotel as they are probably quieter.

« Good Hotel and Good Staff »

It is a true pleasure to stay in this hotel, it is my choice each and every trip. Staff have always been friendly and helpful, breakfast choices get better and better every time, I am very happy with the price and I always recommend it to everyone!

« Very convienent to Disneyland! »

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The people very nice and accommodating. The best part - across the street from Disneyland. We walked out the main gate and crossed the street. The rooms we had and King Size beds and a sleeper sofa, perfect for families or unexpected guests. The location is perfect after a long day at Disneyland. You don't have to wait for a shuttle or bus.

    « Perfect Disneyland Location! »

We recently stayed here 4 nights when we went to Disneyland. The location is unbeatable. It's literally across the crosswalk from the main entrance. The rooms are clean and decent. There are refrigerators which is very convenient. We drove 3 blocks down the road to Subway and loaded up on sandwiches for lunches. It's easy to leave Disneyland to come back to the room for lunch and a brief break. We could see the night time fireworks from our room. You might need to call to request a room with a fireworks view because not all rooms had this. Great service, clean rooms, perfect location. I am picky about having good coffee so I went elsewhere for breakfast but my husband and son ate there each morning (free breakfast buffet). There was yogurt and fresh fruit in addition to eggs, sausage, french toast, cereal, muffins, bagels, and juices.

« The closest hotel to the Disneyland »

This hotel has the best location, but it's too noisy especially if your room is on the first floor. Breakfast was very good, and included omelet, sausage, waffles or pancakes, fresh fruits (bananas, apples, oranges), yogurts, a few kinds of cereal, toasts, bagels, pastries, and of course coffee and tea. I would definitely stay in that hotel again, but not on the first floor facing the parking lot :)

    « Good stay »

Had a good time at Disney Land. Hotel was comfortable and very convenient (across the street) to the Disney Land / California Adventure entrance. The hotel was fine but for the price paid I don't think it was a great value. Typical motel, but clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was average and very crowded but you can't really complain about free. Overall it was good but not sure I'd stay here again for the rates we received ($190 weekend / $160 weekday).

    « Great location, staff, & amenities! »

We decided to do a last minute trip for our children's spring break. I was happy to find an opening here for a reservation. This property is right at the maingate crosswalk for Disneyland. We also decided on this hotel because of the included hot breakfast. The initial price per night was higher than we were wanting but they offer a AAA discount so that sealed the deal! The room (1 king w/sofa queen/double) was spacious enough for my family of 4. The bed (king) was delightful and I wish I had one I liked that much at home!! The pull out sofa bed was great for my kids to share. We also rented a scooter from the on property company and I LOVE that it was so convenient. The hot breakfast that is INCLUDED in your room rate is a great deal! We had quality options- not just cereal, donuts, juice, etc. It was HOT eggs, meat (alternated daily between ham or sausage), french toast or waffles, pastries, cereal, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, yogurt, and more. Every member of staff was amazing to deal with and I am trying to see when we can come stay with them again! I will for sure have them at the top of my list for hotels in the area!

« Convenient to Disneyland, great place to stay. »

Our family of 6 stayed here for 5 nights and were very pleased with our stay. Staff were friendly, the room was clean and the kids loved the pool. We had two double beds and one sofa bed which accommodated us all. Breakfast next door was fantastic and included in our stay but by far the best thing was we were right across the road from the entrance to Disneyland. This made our stay very convenient not having to use shuttles or walking far. We were able to come and go as we pleased as it was only a short walk. Would definitely use this hotel again.

    « Great Location »

All good, perfect location directly across the street from both Disney parks. Free breakfast is quite good in restaurant next door. Good sized rooms, parking next to room (extra fee). Small outdoor pool and hot tub.

    « Great Find »

If you want to stay right across the street from Disneyland this is the place. You walk across the street and your at Disney. Great suite rooms at a great price. Pool on site. Lots of parking for cars no RV's

    « Great & Convenient Accomodations »

I was traveling with a school group of Special Needs High School Students. Not only was Best Western Plus Park Place Inn very understanding, generous and accomodative, they made our stay very pleasurable. They even made sure to put us in rooms that were all in a row with connecting rooms as well. This proved to be very beneficial in helping our students and each other out when needed. Offering a full Continental Breakfast at Captain Kidd next door, made it very convenient and fast for our group of 17 individuals.

« spring break at disneyland »

breakfast was great with lots of hot food options and decent coffee and location to disneyland was outstanding with a very easy 2 min walk to the gate staff was polite and professional room was what we expected, clean and functional felt is was kind of expensive for outdoor motel style rooms had to pay for parking but they had a car gate and pass to enter and exit which made it feel safer. did not use the pool area

    5
« Great Hotel, Reasonable Price »

This is a moderately priced hotel that is a great alternative to the Disney hotels. It does not have the Disney atmosphere but is well worth the stay. Though it is not on Disney property, it is very convenient to Disneyland and California Adventure. It is right across the street from the Disney bus and shuttle entrance. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and large enough to accommodate our needs. The room we stayed had a mini-fridge, mini-microwave, and mini-coffee maker. It has a restaurant next door and offers a free buffet breakfast each morning you stay there. The food was very mediocre. All in all, the hotel is well worth the price.

« Across the Street; with Breakfast! »

I've stayed here twice in the last few months, and have not been disappointed either time. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Walking across the street to Disneyland is worth the price alone!

    « Excellent Location »

We are a family of 4 and stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa bed for 6 nights. Our room was quiet, clean and the beds were comfortable. It was great to be so close to Disneyland - we easily returned to our room for breaks. The stay included breakfast which was adequate (potatoes, eggs, ham or sausages, bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt etc). This was convenient and added value to our stay. Would stay here again.

    « Great Location »

Brought our granddaughter to Disneyland. This hotel is right across the street, we were given 1st floor rooms right at the front of the property. I think we were closer than actually staying on Disney property for a lot less money. Would definitely stay here again.

« Nice, but rooms need a facelift »

My daughter and I had a comfortable stay. The rooms could use a bit of updating, but were very clean. GREAT breakfast. The price was reasonable. And, it was great to be so close to Disney! We walked each day.

    « Will stay again! »

We stayed here in November of 2014. The room was good for the three of us. The pull out mattress was a little lumpy and would next time get two beds if more than 2 of us. The breakfast was great variety. The pool area is a little small but good enough to cool off and relax in during the day for a break from DL. The location is perfect! No waiting for a bus and could walk across to DL and back to the hotel for a midday break. Will stay again!

« Best motel next to Disneyland »

Fantastic hotel across the street from disneyland. It a shorter walk to disneyland entrance from this hotel than others. There are 24 hour eating establishments next door as well. The breakfast is quick, efficient, and very adequate.

« This is best than staying at a Disney hotel!!! »

First of all, differently from the Orlando´s Theme Parks, Disneyland, California Adventures and Downtown Disney are all at the same space (so you don't need to drive miles and miles to get to them). And all of them are just across the street from this hotel!! I mean, even the people staying at Disney Resorts need to walk more or to grab some kind of transportation to get there. If you stay here, you´ll get the basics, at a very reasonable price, pool, free breakfast, free wifi and free parking included, lots of options to eat super close to the hotel, and just a few steps from the gates of these 3 main attractions. We loved staying there!!

    4
    « The Best Location »

Outstanding location, friendly staff. Very small breakfast room with long lines to get breakfast. The room needs to be larger for the amount of people they have in the hotel. Breakfast was just ok, Some of the maid service was slow. After coming back to the hotel in the late afternoon our rooms were still not cleaned..

    5
    « Won't stay anywhere else »

We've been to a DL Resort and this is, by far, the best place to stay when you are visiting the park. Each day we went to the park we returned for a short rest in the room. Each time it was already made and super clean. The only downside is that for a family of six, it becomes a smidge crowded and untimely at times for the bathroom. But other than that, we have no complaints. The beds are mostly comfortable, bathroom clean, included breakfast is great, parking suitable, clean pool. No complaints actually. We'll be returning for sure.

    4
    « Very good hotel »

« Excellent Hotel to visit Disneyland »

My family decided to do a last minute trip to the Disneyland Resort. The majority of hotels were booked or really expensive. The Best Western had the best deal and we managed to get one of the last rooms at this hotel. We arrived late because we hit major traffic when we left and the staff were quick and helpful on getting us into our room after a long drive to the hotel. The hotel is right at the crosswalk to go to Disneyland making it very convenient. The suite we had was very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and clean as well. Our family did encounter a few issues. First, Housekeeping was all over the place when cleaning the rooms on our floor. We came back from the parks around 1:00 p.m. and the room wasn't cleaned, but the housekeeper showed up right as we sat down in the room. The second day we didn't even get service, but I later found out that you can reserve a time to have your room cleaned. We managed to take advantage of that. Second, The breakfast is at the restaurant next door on the second floor. I had my grandmother with me and she couldn't climb the stairs and she didn't want anyone to get her food for her. Thirdly, If you lay by the air conditioner unit in your room, you can easily get cold no matter what temperature is set on the unit. I have to give a special shout out to the staff. The staff were very helpful and gave a welcoming feeling whenever you entered the hotel. I was always treated with a hello and a smile whenever I left the hotel or entered it. I have to also give a shoutout to who I believe was the front desk manager. She was very sweet and was very helpful to sort out the couple of problems we encountered during our stay. Highly recommended hotel.

« Across the street from Disneyland »

Decent price and very convenient location, across the street from Disneyland. There is a Denny's, a McDonald's, and a Tony Roma's, within the block. Also a drug store down the street. Parking is a little tight if driving bigger veichele, but free with room. We gave ours to my in-laws who drove down with a trailer and we're staying at Orangeland RV park. Free breakfast with room. It was decent, waffles, toast, bagels, bacon, sausage, eggs, yogurt, milk, juice, coffee, tea, cereal, and few more. Small fridge and microwave in room. Also had air conditioning. Pool and hot tub were clean and useable. Only downside was that the beds were double size, would have preferred queen. Overall decent price, close location and clean rooms. I would use this hotel again.

    « So close! »

This is one of the closest places to Disneyland. Right across the cross walk. We have stayed there 3 times in the last year. The place is always clean and comfortable. My family loves it. It does come with breakfast. It is not that great. After couple days we go two hotels up to McDonald's.

« Convenient location, value for the price »

We come to Disneyland every year. A number of years ago we found this hotel and it exceeded our expectations. Granted it's not the fanciest of hotels but it's clean, very conveniently located, has two washer and dryers and the rooms are large with microwave and refrigerator. All at a very competitive price. It also includes complimentary breakfast but stick to the fruits and bagel/toast/pastries - the eggs and meat are pretty bad but what do you expect for free food? All in all you get quite a lot for what you pay.

    « Trip to Disneyland »

This place needs an upgrade we were so grossed out we went to the Hilton down the street their stuff was a little worn too but at least our feet didn't stick to the carpet when we took our shoes off. I still shudder when I think about the yuckiness.

    « Exceeded Expectations »

This hotel has the most friendly and accommodating staff! My expectations were exceeded and I would stay here for work again. Also, I could see this as a great spot for families who are visiting Disneyland as it had a clean looking pool and very accommodating.

    « Yep.. Location Location »

Book this place. It is so convenient, but also a great place to stay. Check in was great, we arrived from Australia at about 9am so we were not expecting to be given a room right away. And we weren't, but they were so helpful in directing us to the bathroom to freshen up and took our bags into storage so we could venture across the road to Disneyland. (and i mean across the road, it could NOT be closer). When we came back in the afternoon our room was ready and we headed up. 3rd level overlooking the pool. There is a lift so no lugging your bags up stairs which was great. Great room, 2 double beds, table and chairs, tv, mini fridge, and microwave couldn't ask for more. The noise from the pool was non existent and it was fairly hot when we were there. The bathroom was adequate and clean and was restocked each day. The breakfast room above Captain Kidds was fine. Busy most of the morning, i didn't really eat much there except a piece of toast and a cup of orange juice but my travelling partner didn't complain too much. Overall ok. We ate at the IHOP next door a few times and that was yummy. There is a little shop in the lobby that sold snacks, souvenirs and also some first aid supplies, very handy. I would definitely stay there again. The staff were great, the property is fine (I overheard a lady at the front desk say that renovations were about the commence on some of the rooms) It was so handy to have the option to come back in the early afternoon for either a nap or a freshen up in the room.

« Offers a convenient place to rest/sleep when you're not at Disneyland »

As others have noted, the best reason to stay here is its proximity to the Disneyland Resort's Esplanade. It's even closer to the gates than the famous (and 3-4 times more expensive!) Disneyland Hotel. You merely cross the street and walk along the path by the shuttle drop-off stop. Voila! It made it so easy to return for naps every day. Yet you need to book BWPPI with reasonable expectations. This is a satisfactory motel for those just looking for a place to sleep/rest in-between jaunts to the Disneyland Resort. You won't get room service, fancy headboards that light up, early morning access to the parks, amazing water slides and pools, and all the other "special" benefits of staying on-site in a Disney hotel. We had a very disappointing stay at the Disneyland Hotel on our June 2014 trip (you can read that TripAdvisor review if you want). Thus, I decided we would not stay on-site again at the resort, especially since we had a February 2016 trip planned and wouldn't be using the pool. After evaluating the motels closest to the entrance, I settled on Best Western Plus Park Place Inn. The place looks fairly standard. It has a nice modern lobby, so they've renovated within the past 10 years (as opposed to places that look 20+ years old). The staff was always very helpful and friendly. I requested a top floor (3rd floor) room near the back of the motel because DH is a very light sleeper. They were able to accommodate our request and we did sleep well at night. When we went back one day to nap, we heard a puppy whining/barking next door. Called the front desk and they handled it as when we returned that night, the dog was gone. Found out later the guests denied having a puppy, but our room shared a connecting door to their room and it was clearly a very loud whiny puppy. I initially thought it was a kid, but then realized it was a puppy. Who brings a puppy to Disneyland and leaves it alone in the hotel room? Anyhow, the room was clean enough. There was also a mini-fridge (which seemed on the larger size compared to the tiny fridges you sometimes get in motels) and microwave, which made re-heating leftovers easy. I also appreciated that the sink and large vanity counter are outside of the small room with a toilet/bathtub. It makes getting ready much easier. They also had updated shower fixtures so the rooms have been refreshed/renovated recently, too. We walked by the outdoor pool and hot tub on our way back to our room and it always reeked of chlorine. I believe that pools should not stink like that unless they're out of balance so I'd avoid that pool at all costs. We tried the complimentary breakfast on the first day (it's served next door on the second floor of the Captain Kidd restaurant) but it was pretty bland: cereal, yogurt, pancakes, etc. but also some hot fare like the scrambled "egg patties" and sausage. On subsequent days, we skipped the free breakfast and bought chocolate croissants and other treats from the La Brea Bakery to enjoy instead. If we had an unlimited budget, I'd stay on-site because you can't beat the early access to the parks and the pools. However, most families do have to work on a budget and I felt like the several hundred dollars we saved staying at the BWPPI enabled us to splurge on special experiences like lunch at Carthay Circle, buying Photopass+, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, lots of expensive snacks and meals inside the parket, and souvenirs. I would stay here again on future trips to Disneyland.

Room was very nice and clean. All of the staff was very helpful and professional. The breakfast was huge and well worth the cost of the motel. Little noisy during fireworks but what the heck.. we were in Disneyland. Would definitely stay here again!

« Very nice motel and service!! »

Was as promised. Across the street from Disneyland. Excellent and friendly staff and clean rooms....Breakfast was good and was also very close to other restaurants in area. We were able to check in early and when we checked out they had everything ready including a shuttle to Amtrak. I like the gift shop too!!

    « I would stay here again »

The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are very small but still adequate. The cleaning staff always wanted to make sure that you had enough towels, coffee, or shampoo. I have stayed in better rooms at a Best Western, however, you can't beat the location of this hotel. It is directly across the street from the Disneyland Park and California Adventure and a short walk to Downtown Disney. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance and a city and tour bus stop right out front. The breakfast is typical for this hotel but does have a selection for everybody. It is nice to have a free breakfast before heading into the Parks for the day, especially with a family.

« Just across the road from disneyland »

Convenient place to stay if you are visiting Disneyland. Standard room was clean and tidy. however key card entry very poor. After watching fireworks got locked out of the room key card did not work. Needed to get the front desk to send someone to let us in our room. That process took such a long time far to long for a small hotel. This also occurred during the day couple of times I advised the front desk but I got the impression they did not seem to be that concerned.

    « Pay for proximity »

You are paying for one thing only here...location. It is one of the two motels closest to the Harbor Blvd. crossing and park entrance. It is even closer than the Disneyland property hotels. Thus, all and immediate area motels are expensive for that very reason. Breakfast buffet is standard motel fare, but is included, which is a huge savings for large or extended families. Breakfast is located on the second floor of the adjoining building. If a member of your party is unable to climb the stairs to the buffet, they will kindly let your party sit in the downstairs Captain Kidd restaurant and you can bring the food downstairs (or to the room...it's all paper plates and such). You should know this is a very long, skinny motel with just an end fronting Harbor Blvd. If a member of your party has mobility issues, request a room close to the front. Otherwise it will be quite a walk for them from the back. There are elevators, but request a first floor for speed in and out. Only negative: We didn't expect much, but we're still surprised to see the soles of our feet become very dirty from walking on the carpet in the room. Nice surprise: Staff said I needed to remove my car by 3pm on day of check out, but when I called from the park they said they had room, so not to worry, and let us leave it there for a few hours longer. Of note the staff was so friendly and helpful!

    « Location Location Location »

This hotel was basic but satisfactory, however its position made it perfect. Easy to locate and you only have to cross the street to be at the Disney gates. As a single mother travelling alone with my daughter this was ideal. You can really make the most of your time at disney from this hotel and we stayed until the park closed, so after an exhausting day a comfortable bed was only across from the gates.

    « Acceptable as a last resort »

We booked the hotel during a major convention, and the ones we typically lodge at were fully booked. The hotel was disappointing, but the rate was reasonable ($140/night). The staff are great for the most part. The rooms and facilitated are extremely dated. Tub faucet was difficult to use (almost called customer service about it), the furniture is tacky (faux bamboo decor). Mold is seen on tile grout. Lighting is awful (compact fluorescent bulbs). People come for the location though (myself included). They do, however, have free wifi, fridge, microwave, and coffee makers in the room. Still, looking forward to the return home.

« Great location but noisy and not clean »

If access to Disneyland is #1 priority than this place takes the prize. Can't beat the location...right outside Disneyland. That is where the good ended for us. Terribly noisy so don't take room across from restaurant. The room itself was dark and quite low in quality. We won't be back.

    « Great hotel! »

We just recently went on our first Disneyland family vacation and I am so glad that we stayed at the Best Western Plus! I have a one year old son and it was so convenient to walk back to the hotel during his nap time so that he could rest comfortably. We did not have to worry about getting a shuttle to our hotel and we made a few trips back to our room to rest. One of the nights we headed back early and were able to see the Disneyland fireworks right from our room! The environment is clean, rooms are tidy and very cozy. This will forever be our go-to place to stay when taking future Disneyland trips. Definitely recommend.

    5
    « Great Location »

Right across the street from Disneyland, even closer then the Disneyland hotel and a whole lot cheaper. Family friendly hotel with a good breakfast included in the cost. We have been using this hotel for our frequent visits to Disneyland for at least 10 years.

    4
    « Anaheim Park Place »

A/C a bit noisy and breakfast area was upstairs at Captain Kidds which was weird but the location is tough to beat unless you want to stay at a Disney Hotel. You can get some Disney items in their gift shop cheaper than at Disneyland so you might want to check it out.

    2
    « Not Clean »

The room was not very clean. I had a used bandaid that was stuck to my foot when I was in the shower that was never cleaned prior to check in. All of the outlets in the room were loose so it was hard to charge phones/devices. There was also a musty smell and the AC was REALLY loud.

    « Great Hotel/ Great location »

5 minutes from the front gate of Disneyland. And if that wasn't enough, Tony Roma's restraunt, IHOP and Denny's right in a line from the hotel. The Best Western has a continental breakfast upstairs at the Capt. Kidd buffet, right next door. The breakfast is great, full hot courses, plus fruit, and cereal. Perfect way to get your day started. Best Western has a pool and hot tub, they felt great after a long day inside Disneyland. Everyone is so friendly there. We will stay there again!

    4
« Right Across From Disneyland »

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. HOWEVER, THE BEDS & PILLOWS ARE TERRIBLE! The breakfast was free and OK. The coffee was good. The extra fees for staying in Anaheim was about 1/3 of the bill.

    5
« Excellent choice for Disneyland Trip »

Great accommodations, breakfast is fine for families, and you just can't beat the proximity to Disneyland and California Adventure. Always clean and comfortable rooms for our family of five. No complaints at all.

    4
    « Comfortable Room - Unbeatable Location »

As many, many others have noted, the location of this hotel is unbeatable. If you have children who are at an age where they are too old for a stroller but don't have the stamina for a long walk - this is the place for you. The room was clean and comfortable, although a bit worn. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. The breakfast buffet was ample and I appreciated the hot items.

    2
« Not the Best Western »

For the price that they charged....hotel was very noisy. Toilet wouldn't flush - had to fix it myself. Breakfast was terrible. Was located in another building on the 2nd floor - no elevator for handicapped. Was told I could use my Best Western gift card in their gift shop by staff at the front desk. When I went to use it, was told NO. Not impressed in the least by this property.

« A real bargain if going to Disneyland! »

Great place to stay since it is right across the street from the park and includes breakfast and internet. Great service, great people, an overall great experience! I will be visiting again for sure when I take my family to Disneyland!

    4
    « Disney Trip »

Clean room, big TV & loved having the sitting area and fridge. We asked for a specific area of the hotel with 2 adjoining rooms and were not let down. Great location for walking to all of the resort area. Nice, helpful staff. Only complaints would be the small pool for so many guests and the hard brick-like pillows.

    5
    « Location, Location, Location »

Can not get closer to the entrance of the Disneyland Parks unless you stay at one of the resort hotels. Made our walks into the park easy. Room had lots of space for our family of four including a couch and table to spread out our stuff. Pool and hot tub were great and clean. Could not have asked for a better experience!

    5
    « The Best! »

We will stay here again! We originally booked a different hotel that turned out to be horrible! Best Western got us in a room right away, saving their last room for us. Great staff, right across the street from Disneyland. Clean, nice, spacious rooms. This hotel will be our go to Disneyland hotel from now on.

    4
    « Blechfast »

By all means, stay here for the proximity to Disneyland, but do not consider the breakfast when choosing this hotel. We had stayed at a Best Western in Eureka and the food was wonderful, but that was not the case here. The beds in our room needed to be replaced. Other than that, we feel we got what we paid for.

« Very nice place - great breakfast »

Overall, our stay at Best Western Park Place Inn and Suites was pleasant. We only spent our nights in the hotel and spend the whole day at the Disneyland Resort. It was very important to us that our hotel provide a hot breakfast each morning, and their breakfast was very good. The only complaint that we had was in our specific room, everything was sticky (tables, cabinets). Otherwise, our linens were clean.

    5
« Perfect place to stay for access to Disneyland »

What a great location. Disneyland is across the street! Free breakfast was a great way to start the day with many choices. Ham, eggs, bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffles and so much more! We had fun cooling off in the pool and warming back up in the jacuzzi. The room was comfortable and clean. Lots of towels provided. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Disneyland.

    5
    « Disneyland 2016 »

Everything was excellent. Closest to Disneyland entrance. Easy to walk back and forth from hotel to Disneyland. Breakfasts were addiquit, near by, and convenient. Nothing too fancy. Didn't spend much time at hotel but to sleep, eat breakfast, and change clothes.

    « Amazing Stay »

Honestly such an amazing stay! I'll skip the long review and simply say the staff was great ..... friendly and inviting. Answered all my questions promptly and we're eager to help. The CLOSEST hotel to the parks extremely convenient and clean!! I will definitely stay again on my next trip!!

    4
    « Pleasant stay »

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was plenty big for us. Free breakfast was good. Had a phone msg 2 day saying the room wasn't cleaned because we had the do not disturb sign on the door, which we did not, yet the room was in fact cleaned. Only issue was the pillows. They were way too thick for my liking. If we were staying longer i probably would have spoke to the front desk but it was only 2 nights. Quick walk to Disney. Ihop right next door. Would def stay again

    5
    « Great location! »

Right across the street from Disneyland - Awesome Location! We were able to easily go back and forth from the room to the parks. In fact, we did that almost every day. The free breakfast was amazing. A wonderful selection. We ate at IHOP one day which is also right next door, but the free breakfast was very good. There are also several other restaurants very close. You don't ever need to get in your car! This was a very clean hotel. Although a little dated, it was very clean and centrally located.

    3
    « Blame Game »

Two of the six night we were in Anaheim for a conference our room was not cleaned. We were blame and told that the Hotel Cleaning Supervisor claimed: we place the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door; requested no service; or were in the room and did not want service. None of which were true because we attended a conference from early morning to evening at the conference center a half mile away.

    4
« Directly across the street from Disneyland! »

Our family has stayed at this hotel on several occasions. We always get a mini suite which includes 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed is on the other side of a half wall next to the a/c. This was perfect for us as my middle daughter hates to listen to my husband snore and between the half wall and a/c she didn't hear a thing. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge. Tub and toilet were separate from the sink which is nice when everyone is trying to get ready to go to the park. We've had rooms all over the property so let me give you a hint... ask for a room towards the front because after a long day at the park you'll be grateful. As far as the hotel goes... they have a couple of washers and dryers. Their pool is small. Very limited parking for a fee. As far as location goes you can't get any better. Right on the crosswalk to the entrance of Disneyland. Even though you are right across the street from the entrance there is still quite a walk to the turnstiles of Disneyland and the California Adventure. Price is reasonable for Anaheim. Hotel desk was nice. We arrived early morning and our room was not ready so we used the hotel lobby bathroom to change for our day at Disney. The hotel held on to our luggage until we came back. We have planned a trip to Disneyland in June 2016 but unfortunately this hotel is not available for our dates. We were lucky enough to find a room at the Best Western 3 doors down. Hopefully we are as happy with that hotel as we are with the BW Park Place Inn.

« New favourite within the Disneyland Resort Area! »

This hotel was amazing! Great customer service, clean rooms, and proximity to the parks isn't going to get any better than this. Full hot breakfast across the parking lot @ Captain Kidds with both hot and cold options, and close to shopping both grocery and leisure. The only flaw is how thin the walls are! We could hear our neighbours full conversations throughout our entire stay! However it Didn't bother me much, and definitely doesn't extremely damper my review, will DEFINITELY be staying again!

    « Location, Location »

We recently stayed at the Park Place Inn while visiting Disneyland. This hotel is right across the street from the main gates to both parks. It is closer to the park than the Disney Parking lots. We arrived at 10 am and stopped to see if we could leave our car for the day and check in later. Not only did they allow us to park they had our room ready and we were able to check in. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but we slept well. There is a breakfast served upstairs at the restaurant next door. There was a good variety and the staff kept it well stocked. There is a small pool area which we did not use. Our son forgot his phone charger when we checked out and I was impressed that the hotel called us to get our mailing address and mailed it to us at no charge. Above and beyond!

    « You can't get any closer! »

This hotel is right across from the main gate to Disneyland. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great. Several restaurants right next door to the hotel. A fantastic choice if your going to the Happiest Place on Earth!

« Good hotel but SO LOUD!!!! »

We stayed 4 nights at the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn. The rooms were nice, the staff was exceptionally friendly, it was clean, nice pool and hot tub area and it was very very close to Disneyland, BUT if you decide to stay in this hotel request a room on the North side. We had a room on the south side and it was so darn loud due to tour busses pulling in and dropping off people (even at 11 or 12 pm at night). Also the trash truck or other maintenance vehicles were by the rooms early in the morning. There were 2 nights that our sleep was really messed up because of all of the noise. The south side rooms are right next to an alley/entrance for the parking area as well as the location that the busses unload. The other issue which is small is that the wifi was very spotty at best. We could not depend on having wifi.

    5
« Great Location, Clean Rooms, Good Breakfast »

Exceeded our expectations! Great clean convenient hotel right across from Disney. We had a Mini Suite and the room was super spacious for our family of 4. The beds were ok but, you are only there to sleep so it wasn't a deal breaker for us. Noise was never a issue at night. Breakfast was great! The rooms are slightly outdated but very clean! We loved the flat screen TV's had OnDemand and great internet. Definitely will stay again!!!

    2
« Dark, noisy and uncomfortable but very close to Disneyland »

We stayed here for 5 nights and I could not wait to get home. On the plus side it is a very convenient location; you likely cannot get closer to the Disneyland entrance. No need to drive to the park once you are at the hotel. The breakfast in the mornings are also convenient and my family of relatively healthy eaters could find fruit, yogurt, cereal, bread and oatmeal. Other options include donuts, meats, pancakes, eggs, etc. Unfortunately, the rooms are depressing. Walls are dark brown, carpets dark green and brown. Little light. It felt awful to be in the room. Everything was clean but there was just not enough light. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. On my last night there I could hardly sleep at all my back hurt so much. The pillows were very very thick and hard which is very bad for one's neck. I have never slept in a bed so uncomfortable. I longed to go home. The reception area is nicely updated. I wish they had updated the rest of the place. Finally, the room was very very noisy. The AC and fan were very loud. You can hear all the internal plumbing when someone turned on a shower or tap. It was NEVER quiet in the room at night. As an aside, parking is an extra $10 per night. There is a small pool and hot tub by the parking area. No safe in the room.

« Disneyland again to celebrate »

The Park Place property is immediately across from the main gate entrance. Why wait for a shuttle ride. This is a 5 minute walk from the entrance to both parks. We have stayed at this property multiple times. If not available we like Stovall's Inn where we have stay multiple times also.

    4
    « Disneyland trip »

The hotel is perfect. We were three adults and seven children. Right across the street from the park entrance. Breakfast had everything you could want. Very helpful in the breakfast area. It was large. We went early as it does get busy by 8am. Family places to eat also near by and a food mart very handy. would stay again. Very quiet and everyone very helpful and friendly

    « It's all about the location! »

Stayed 3 nights in September 2015. Found this hotel to be good value for money and the location opposite Disneyland entrance is fantastic. We arrived well before check-in time after arriving in LA after a 13 hour overnight flight from Australia. The check-in staff were very friendly and accomodating, letting us check into our room early so we could get some sleep. The rooms are slightly dated and the carpet could do with a change but the room was very clean. Beds comfortable, however we found the pillows too soft. Plus side - location, friendly staff, pool, laundry, down side - breakfast room was closed for renovations and breakfast takeaway pack supplied wasn't the greatest. Would definately recommend and stay here again.

    « Had a great time! »

We had a great time! Location was great for Disneyland. Hotel was very clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The bath and shower combo was clean plenty of hot water. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. Thanks, we will be back.

    « Great Disneyland Option »

We always stay at the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn when we go to Disneyland. You can't beat the location and the hotel is just fine for when all you need to do is sleep in it. It is always clean and well serviced. The staff is always friendly.

« Perfect Location, Clean, Convenient, Great Service »

Friends recommended this hotel from the gazillions to choose from on S. Harbour, the busy road that runs the length of Disneyland's parks. It is THE closest to the pedestrian crossing. This may not seem like a huge deal, but if you have little kids, and you just walked more than 7 hours a day in the hot sun, you will walk out that gate and thank yourself for booking a hotel with such a fantastic location. The rooms were extremely clean, housekeeping was fantastic, and there's a great little car rental place in the lobby with cars on-site if you need a break from the theme parks and want an impromptu road trip! We didn't have a rental car, and didn't need one, but took a side trip to San Diego for the day because it was so easy, Staff are all great and we were given our mini-suite on arrival at 1:00. The only downside is the gong-show breakfast room. People were a little crazy, owing to this hotel being on the cheaper side, and there was a "kill or be killed" feel to the entire area as soon as you walked up the stairs! People were stressed out and running from station to station every day (we stayed 5 nights), grabbing extra food to tide their kids over for the morning in the parks. I don't blame them, we grabbed a few bananas each morning, too - It could just probably be managed a little more civilly, though. You don't really want to start your morning like that! Otherwise, kids loved the pool at the end of long walking days, we loved the hot tub, and there were plenty of sun loungers for everyone. Quite happy with this place!

« OK place if you want to be RIGHT next to the Disneyland entrance... »

While this level of quality is below my usual standard, it is an OK place if you want to be RIGHT next to the Disneyland entrance. If you aren't used to staying in (Disney's Grand Californian Hotel) $500+ hotels, you won't notice what it is lacking. The complimentary b'fast is about like what I had at summer camp. Wife called it "horrible" and was astounded soy milk wasn't available here in SoCal. If it were a Best Western in Tulsa, I'd give it a pass, but this is California... get with it! FWIW anyway, I enjoyed my stay. YMMV.

    « Amazing! »

We stayed at BW Park Place Inn for 7 nights in the first week of December 2015 and were very impressed! We had a room with 2 queen beds and a pull-out couch, and it was more than enough room for my husband, myself, and our 3 teenage boys to spread out. The swimming pool and hot tub area was great for the kids to let off some steam after a long drive from northern Oregon. The remodeled breakfast room above Captain Kidd's Restaurant is fabulous, and the hot breakfast was just a perfect way to start the busy Disneyland day! The hotel is at the stop light on Harbor Blvd where you cross to enter into the Esplanade between DCA and Disneyland, and it takes maybe 5 minutes to get to the turnstiles. Additionally, it is only about 10 minutes to Downtown Disney straight through the Esplanade. Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful at all times. We also had our moms, sister, and brother in law at the hotel and they also had a great stay. We are already planning our next Disney trip for October 2017 and will definitely be booking another room at this fabulous hotel! We are customers for life.

Excellent hotel. Super value for the money. Very clean. Close and convenient to Disneyland. This is a perfect hotel to stay at when visiting Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. It is right across the street from an adventure to the 3 places and there is a crosswalk to make crossing the street safe. There are restaurants near the hotel in case you want to eat off the Disney property.

    « Great Spot »

Great Spot to stay while visiting Disneyland. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean. The best part is that if your room is ready when you arrive in the morning they let you check in early BIG BONUS. Have stayed there about 25 nights and it is my FIRST CHOICE when going to Disneyland..Going back again next week

    « Great Disney Vacation »

Had adjoining rooms which was great being we had children going back and forth. We had a great time. Loved having a refrigerator in the room. The free breakfast helped alot. We were able to take fruit , yogurt and milk with us to feed the children while in Disneyland. You can not beat the location. Disneyland is right across the street. I've stayed at all 3 Disneyland resort hotels. This Best Western is closer walking distance then Paradise Pier and the Disney hotels. Great bang for your buck!

    « Disneyland Entrance »

We've stayed at this hotel several times. It's our go to place to stay when we visit the Happiest Place on Earth. They have renovated the rooms. Some of the furniture is dated, however, the beds are comfortable. Front Desk Staff are very professional. We rented scooters for the first time and they were waiting in the lobby, a member of the hotel staff, kindly and without asking, assisted us in how to use them. I did question them about moving our room, they were helpful and did give us an option but I didn't want to move to the second floor. That was our choice to not move. We were fine. Room 175 maybe too noisy for some as it's near the lobby and the stairwell is right outside the window. We turned on the ac/heater unit and we wear earplugs anyways, so the noise wasn't an issue for us as we had initially thought. The "continental" breakfast, is a bit more than that. However, it certainly isn't anything to write home about. Cereal, fruit, danish, mini muffins, donuts form scrambled egg, sausage, pancakes. Nothing cooked to order, but will make kids happy. Overall, this location is wonderful, right at the light to cross Harbor Blvd. and walk to the parks or Downtown Disney. We had three rooms in total, got a great rate at the hotel site. Note that the parking spaces can be very narrow. We chose to take our small car instead of our SUV for ease of parking. You can walk to many other locations around the Disneyland Resort area from this hotel. So you don't have to move your car, once it's parked.

Best Wester Plus Park Place Inn was an excellent location and very convenient to the entrance of Disneyland. All staff members were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The rooms assigned to our group were very specious and clean. There was free Wi-Fi internet access as well.

    « A moderatly priced hotel-walk to Disneyland »

This is a Three star hotel - not really a "mini Suite" but it was clean and very close to Disneyland. It is actually closer to the gate of Disney than the Disneyland hotel and it is very good for families with young children. It was very clean and beds were fine but bring your own pillows as these were spongy.

    « Great location »

This location is great. Besides staying on the property it's as close as you can get. Positives: *Right across the street from the park. *Can see the fireworks from the room. *Great breakfast with hotel room. *Small market store next door. *Friendly staff. *Clean and big rooms. *Flat screen TV *The 2 beds were very comfortable. *Great heating and air system. Little loud for what others may like but we didn't mind. *Fridge and microwave. *Rooms cleaned daily but you can place the do not disturb sign out if you don't want your room touched. Negatives: *Rooms are a little outdated and could use an update. *Only 1 elevator as far as we could find and see. *Thin walls. We could hear our neighbors conversations. Over all I really did like this room for my family. It can be a bit pricey but I think it's worth it for the convenience of walking across the street to get to and from Disneyland. It also wonderful because the Disneyland airport shuttle drops off right in front of the hotel and picks up too. We will for sure always stay here if needing to save money for our trip.

    « Perfect Disney Stay »

Had a girls weekend with my two adult daughters, and we took in the time at Disney. This was directly across the street from the park....absolutely perfect, way better than finding a parking space and being shuttled! Great staff and clean rooms. Was so nice to not spend a fortune on a hotel stay, since we spent our time at the park. Was quiet for sleeping, and the breakfast included was a plus!

« Convenient but over priced »

The best part about this hotel is it's convenient location to Disneyland, which was the reason for my visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean, the breakfast is ok. It's an older property with older construction which means thinner walls and sagging doors that don't seal off the room entrance, along with dated and used furniture and decor . Noise levels are high both from lots of children and adults running back and forth and yelling at each other and commercial traffic coming and going in the parking lot. The value of the price for this location is the convenience to Disneyland, otherwise the cost of the room is over priced for what you get

    « Good value »

The price of the hotel is in line with others of similar quality. The breakfast at the Captain Kids next door, included in the price makes this a best value. The staff too, is very friendly and professional. We were very happy with our visit and hope to stay there in the future.

« Favorite hotel close to Disneyland »

Been here several times in November and December 2015. We like this location as it is within 10 - 15 minute walk to front gates at Disneyland. It is nice to come back to the room after spending several hours at Disneyland to freshen up and rest. It is nice that the hotel allows us to park here at the hotel until 3 pm on the day you check out so you can spend the morning in the Disneyland parks. It can be a big hassle to move your car to the Mickey & Friends parking structure. I love the recently renovated breakfast room across the way above the restaurant next door. It now has a little more room to eat your breakfast here. Like the new bright look inside too. Your room includes expanded continental breakfast with eggs, ham or sausage, pancakes or waffles along with the usual pastries, cereal, toast and juices, milk, coffee and tea. We just get a room with a king bed. Like having the pull out sofa and coffee table in the room too so that we can eat here if we wanted to. It's nice that there is a refrigerator and microwave oven in the room too. Will be back again in 2016.

« Great Hotel and close to Disneyland »

Great hotel that is close to Disneyland and a very short walk. My family loves the breakfast and they have a great variety for everyone to eat in the morning. I love the front desk. They are very helpful and willing to help you with anything. If you need a car, taxi, help in finding some place they are very knowledgeable and help you out. I appreciate this very much since I do not know the area.

« Great place to Stay »

Can't get any closer to Disneyland. Clean, quiet place with excellent staff. Dealt with minor issues immediately. Breakfast was great - enough so we didn't need to eat again until mid-afternoon. Not gourmet, but good choices and tasty. Will defintely stay again. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

« Go for the location, not the quality »

If you want to stay in close proximity to Disneyland you won't get much closer than at the Best Western Park Place Inn. The rooms are outdated, but comfortable and the free breakfast is simple, but free. This place has everything you need for a stay near Disneyland, it just isn't the most comfortable option available.

    5
    « Close to Disneyland »

This hotel is staffed with very helpful people 24/7. The facility is modern, clean and comfortable, although the bed was a tad soft for my liking. And, this hotel is right across the street from Disneyland. The traffic light and cross walk are just out the front door and a short walk from the plaza at the Disney Resort.

« Half Marathon Trip and 2nd Stay »

This was our second stay at the BW Plus Park Place Inn - Mini Suites. We were doing the Disney Half Marathon. It is right across the street from the Disneyland entrance. The rooms and grounds are clean. They had a small Laundromat in site. Staff was pleasant. We received free breakfast with our stay. It is within walking distance of restaurants, Garden walk, downtown Disney and of course the Parks. We will stay here again next time we visit Disneyland.

« Perfect place for a Disneyland trip »

This location was perfect for visiting the parks - the hotels were clean, easy to walk to, and the continental breakfast was awesome. It was more than enough space for our family of 6 in their suites, and we couldn't have asked for a better location. Plus, on site laundry was a huge bonus after park days!

« Half Marathon Disney Trip »

This Best Western was conveniently located to Disneyland. It was a perfect place to stay overnight for our half marathon. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast, microwave and mini fridge were a wonderful convenience. Access to wifi was a blessing and having a jacuzzi a luxury after the race. Perfect location for a half marathon weekender with friends!

« 2nd Time and Still Very Good »

We stayed four nights at the BW Plus Park Place Inn - Mini Suites. This was our second time to stay here for a Disneyland visit. Once again we were very happy with our stay. We had no complaints. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The room and grounds were clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was good. The location is perfect for a Disneyland visit. Just walk across the street and you are there. We flew into LAX and took the Disneyland Express to the hotel. The bus stops right out front. We will stay here again next time we visit Disneyland.

We stayed here just before Christmas for 6 nights. Found the hotel to be fantastic in every way. So close to Disneyland and restaurants, we would happily stay here again. Thanks for a great stay Best Western Plus Park Place Inn.

    « Awesome location! »

Nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast had good variety and tasted great. Best selling point of this property though - location, location, location. Literally, right across the street from the park entrance.

    « Unfriendly Staff »

Hotel was great in location. Rooms were clean. Staff was not friendly. Seemed as if we were bothering them when we checked in. Pull out bed was NOT comfortable at all. May need a new mattress. Great in every other way. Room was large enough for 6 adults.

« Perfect for visiting parks with young kids and grandparents »

Stayed the first week of December 2015. 2 parents,2 grandparents, 3 kids(5,7,9 years old). Got to hotel 11am and we were fully expecting to check bags at front desk and go to parks. We were pleasantly surprised that the front desk checked with housekeeping and our rooms were ready. So we dumped our luggage and got to parks quickly. Beds were comfortable and everyone slept well each night. Breakfast upstairs at Captain Kidds has lots of seating. We went to breakfast early each morning and it was not crowded. Food was good. Sausage and ham rotated each day, potatoes, eggs, pancakes or waffles (reminds me of eggo waffles). Apples, bananas, muffins, cereal, doughnuts,Danish. Juice, milk, coffee. Nothing fancy, but we didn't need fancy, we got a good start to each day,not to mention the money we saved by not eating breakfast in the parks. Kids or grandparents got tired during the afternoon when it got busy, boom! 5-10minute walk back to room, nap, and back to park refreshed. Got too wet on splash mountain or grizzly river run, boom! 5-10 minute walk to change. The grandparents thought I was a genius. One day we needed transportation to Knotts berry farm and the front desk set up the whole thing for us with a private ride that could handle all 7 of us. Also, close to McDonald's. Saved us money on a couple dinners. Refrigerator, microwave was nice to have in room. Staff was friendly. Housekeeping was great, our room was always clean when we came back. We have stayed farther down Harbour and grandparents didn't like the 15-20 minute walk. We have stayed far enough away it was a 15-20 minute ART bus ride, and did not like packing stroller on bus. BW park place is where we will stay from now on.

« Great stay during our vacation »

Our family stayed at Best Western Mini Inn and Suites. This hotel is right across the street from the main entrance at Disneyland which made it very convenient for us during our 3 day stay. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone if planning a trip to Disneyland. Our experience overall was a very good one. Will definitely go stay there again.

« Great for Disney Resort »

I strongly recommend considering this hotel when planning your Disneyland Resort trip. It's right across the street from the park, meaning you can walk on over (and avoid parking at the Resort itself), and their are suites big enough to hold 6 people! There are also quiet hours from around 9 PM to 8 AM (or in that range) - great for families with children who need to sleep!

    5
« Perfect Location for Disneyland »

I was very pleased with this hotel. You can't beat the location for a visit to Disneyland. You are right across the street from the walkway. It was a five minute walk to the parks. We could see the Tower of Terror from outside our room. The front desk staff was very friendly. The room was spacious with two beds and a sleeper sofa. Free breakfast was included and it was great. There were hot foods and cold cereal, fruit and pastries. They rotated the hot foods daily. We didn't have any complaints with anything during our stay. We will definitely recommend this hotel and we plan on staying again on our next visit.

    4
    « Close to entrance »

Best Western is the next best place to stay if you are not staying at a Disney property. It is just outside the front gate. BW is clean and was recently renovated. Free breakfasts had a lot of variety, well stocked and fresh The price is very reasonable for what you get. Front desk is friendly, accommodating, very efficient in checking in and out and giving information.

    « Always enjoyable »

We have stayed here before due to the location being so close to Disneyland. The continental breakfast was very nice as it has improved since the last time we stayed 5 years ago. You were very accommodating when we needed to upgrade my mothers room to get extra bed for my teenagers who refused to share. We will stay here again.

    5
« Best budget Disneyland Hotel »

Got a tip from a Disneylandaholic friend to use this hotel. It's literally the closest hotel to Disneyland's entrance there is (apart from the Grand Californian whose entrance is inside CA Adventure). Given that I was expecting an exorbitant price, but it was very reasonable. This will be my go to place for Disneyland trips. Plus hot breakfast!

    « Fantastic location for 'non-Disney' accommodation »

This was our first family trip from Australia to Disneyland, and because this was the first week of a 6 week holiday we decided to stay off Disney to save some money. This motel was recommended by friends, so we took their advice and stayed. We arrived quite early at about 9am and the staff were wonderful and got our room right away, which was so good, we were exhausted. It had a tiny laundry for such a big motel, but surprisingly I never had to wait, an in-house laundry is a big plus for me, a fanatical washer! The room was big for a family of 4 and it was clean. So close to walk to Disney, closer than 2 of the 'Disney' motels, so we were able to pop back to the room for an afternoon break. The gift shop in the foyer was also great for affordable presents for kids back home. Would recommend this motel if you want to stay off-site and save. Downside: the pool. For such a huge motel the pool was waaaaaaay too small. We were in Anaheim during a heatwave, and the kids would have loved a swim, but the pool was like a large bathtub and too crowded. They have a massive carpark, maybe in the future a better pool could be built. When we were there the restaurant next door where they usually had breakfast was being renovated, so the motel provided grab n go brekky. And I'm sorry to say this, but it was practically inedible, we ended up getting food each day rom the super expensive convenience store next door. Anyway, I'm sure now the breakfast is much improved, we just had bad timing!

    « Overall stay »

Couldn't have been better! Love the people who work there. Very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The bed was a dream to sleep on. Definitely will be my hotel of choice from now on. Also can't beat the proximity to Disneyland.

    « Disneyland trip »

There is not a better location for Disneyland. This hotel is literally across the street. The breakfast is basic but filling. There is fresh fruit, cereal, egg, potato, sausage, and juice or milk. The staff is very nice and check in and check out were very quick. . Located close to a McDonalds, Ihop, Denny's, Mimi's Café, and Panera. Parking is an additional $10 per night.

« Two rooms for three days of Disneyland »

We (my kids and grandkids)were put in two rooms on the third floor. On the first day as we were getting ready to go back to Disneyland after resting, there was a knock on my door at around 6:00 pm. The maintenance man told me there was a complaint that we were making too much noise. Went down to the lobby to find out about the noise. Found out there was a couple with a baby under us who complained. Tried to find out what kind of noise but the assistant manager just kept telling me that we need to be considerate of the other guests. Left the lobby very upset because I never got an answer as to the noise or why did they put us above a couple with a baby, knowing that when I booked the rooms that we had young kids. There is a sign posted outside that says quiet zone quiet time 9:00 pm to 8:00 am guests sleeping. Not a kid friendly place to stay if they expect us to keep the noise down all day and night. We had to walk on egg shells whenever we were in the room and had to keep scolding the kids to be quiet and no running. After completing a survey from Best Western, I received an email from the general manager apologizing for not exceeding my expectations but went on to say that all that was asked of us was to keep the children from running between the rooms. Never in my conversation with the assistant manager did she say that was the problem. She only repeatedly told me that we need to be considerate of the other guests. We were so happy to leave that place on our last day.

    « Awesome Hotel »

This was the BEST hotel we have ever stayed at in the area. That includes the Disneyland hotels... was quiet, excellent room. I didn't care for the hard pillows, thus making my own with clothing that I forgot! But was called the next day saying they found them and would mail them back to me. That was a good thing.

    « Best Location & Breakfast Too »

This hotel was recommended to us and did not disappoint. The building/rooms are in need of updating but the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location is across the street from the Disneyland entrance! Loved the short walk to get to the park.

« Best hotel if visiting Disneyland »

Great hotel, right across the street from Disneyland. Takes only 5 minutes of walking to get to DLR or DCA. Best value around and the free breakfast makes it more than worthwhile. Hotel is much closer than Disney's own parking lots.

    « Location! Value! Helpful! »

This hotel is closer to the gate than the Disneyland Hotel! If you're looking to maximize your park-time, this is the place. No shuttle buses...no trams...no waiting for a van to show up. You literally walk accross the street and you're on Disney property. The rooms are clean with a standard motel-style layout. Nothing fancy, but very functional...and really folks, after 10 to 12 hours in the parks, who cares? The beds are pretty good, but the pillows were too large and firm for our liking. Plenty of counter space, closet space, and drawers for the four of us. And lots of extra electical outlets to charge phones, cameras, and tablets. The free in-room wifi worked very well. The free breakfast is an all-you-can-eat buffet with more than enough selection to fill kids' and adults' tummies. The hot stuff is microwaved (eggs, ham, sausage, potatoes, etc.) but there are cereals (hot and cold), juice, coffee, donuts, bagels, bread/toast, pancakes, yogurt, milk, etc. The food is up-stairs without an elevator...if you can't do stairs, they will bring it to you! For our family of six, the free breakfast saved about $425 in breakfast costs (or more if we ate in the parks) during our trip...that's a lot of churros! The reservations and front desk staff are very helpful. We had two rooms...one for my disabled parents, and one for us. We had to make several changes to our arrangements before and during our trip (arriving on a different day than originally planned, staying an extra day, needing one room for one day less than planned, etc.). The staff was helpful and took care of the changes while honoring the excellent rate we had locked in 8 months prior. The on-site gift shop sells Disney stuff at a discounted price and then hotel guests get another 15% off. They also sell soda, snacks, and water for MUCH less than the park. Overall, this place is a great value. Not fancy, but not dumpy either. You can't beat the location to maximize your time at Disneyland...we literally gained an hour and a half of time in the parks per day compared to the last time we stayed at a place with a shuttle...and we could do it on our schedule. We'll stay here every time.

    « Comfortable and convenient »

This Best Western is always very comfortable with awesome staff. You can't get any more convenient than just walk out our door and across the street right into Disneyland. Just be sure to make your reservations far enough in advance to get in!

    « Great location ! »

The best location short of the Disneyland hotel . The room was big and lots of appliances big refrigerator and microwave .tile bath tub/shower with massage shower head . The breakfast was just ok toasted waffles and frozen pancakes and baked type potatoes that had too much pepper sausage and ham were very good the eggs were strange looked like they were pre made some how it was better than no food at all but not by much . The room was good we had a pest issue that was taken care of quickly . Did I say I loved the location ? It was so close to the park made it easy to go back and eat or drop clothes etc

    5
    « A really good stay »

Another really good stay. More noise than usual but the location was so appreciated during this very busy time at the Parks. Parking seems to be a big problem but since I never have one this is not a problem for us. Quiet and a long walk from the back of the hotel, or a short walk and less noise - your choice.

    « Location, location, location! »

The room was nice-- comfy beds, nice separate living area. Bathroom had nice tile, but some of the wallpaper was peeling. Room cost also included a nice breakfast buffet for the place next door. But THE reason to stay here is that it is literally across the street from the Disney parks. Once we parked at the hotel, we didn't need our car until check out. Would definitely stay again.

    5
    « Who needs more?! »

Location, location, location. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Opportunity for full or continental breakfast and every room with both a microwave and a mini-fridge. Considering the amount of time actually spent in a hotel room during a Disneyland Resort visit, why would anyone want another hotel? I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend this hotel to friends.

« Awesome location for Disneyland trip »

I love this place specifically for the location it is literally right across the street! I hate waiting for a shuttle to pick you up and drop you off all the time especially when you're dead tired. I have had three great stays here with my family and would come back again. The rooms I have stayed in all had micro/fridge/coffee. There is a $10/day parking fee :( but there is breakfast every morning at Captain Kidd's (price included) and it's pretty good (buffet style) so I guess it evens out. The housekeeping is really good about cleaning while you're at the park and special requests if you need a different time. They also accept AAA. Overall great stay

    « Perfect location »

This is the place to stay when you visit Disneyland. Perfect location. Good staff...very personable and helpful people. Breakfast included, which helps with the travel budget. Rooms are pretty standard, clean enough, and comfortable enough for a trip where you aren't spending all your time in your hotel room.

    4
    « Can't Beat The Location »

This is a good hotel with a fantastic location - right across the street from Disneyland. It's nothing fancy, but the rooms are clean and comfortable, and they have a nice hot breakfast. It would be nice if they had separate room suites (so families could sleep more separately), but otherwise, this is a deal!

    « Location, location, location »

We're a family of 3: myself, husband and 8 year old son. We visit Disney annually and always stay at this BW. They've recently remodeled their front lobby (to be honest, it was fine before). They've also redone their breakfast room. I believe the remodel allows for more seating which is a huge improvement. We never had to fight for a table in the mornings. The breakfast spread was the same but fine: cereals, danishes, bananas/apples, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, eggs, potatoes and sausage or ham. The rooms are not fancy but clean. Although, I think management should probably look into getting new carpets or get the existing ones thoroughly shampooed. The staff were pleasant. The location is great. You literally cross the street and there's a very short walk to the parks. You can stay at fancier hotels, but for us, the location is awesome. We're basically just needing a clean place to sleep and a quick breakfast in the morning before heading into the park.

    4
« Good Deal and short walk to Disneyland »

This is a great hotel for less money than the Disneyland property hotels and it's only a 5 minute walk to the gates. They provide a hot breakfast, parking was only $10 and the room was clean. We would totally stay here again.

    4
    « Closest to Disney »

Directly across the street from Disneyland but so are a few of the other hotels. Best to check the maps. Parking is good but a little tight. Rooms are your average hotel rooms. Nothing to really complain about. Over all a good hotel because of it's location. The only thing I have to say is that their opinion of what a mini suite is verrrry different to my version of a mini suite. As a ex hotel person for over 20 years in the business it is not a mini suite.Sorta of misleading in their description.

    4
    « nice place »

    « Great stay »

Stayed here during my Disneyland stay and the location was perfect - it was right across the street. Mine and my family's flight was early in the morning so the hotel was kind enough to hold onto our luggage while we waited for our room to be available. Check in isn't until 3pm but we called at 11am (check out time) and they had a room available for us - much appreciated!! No need for a shuttle, they had free wifi (which sometimes I would have to re-enter the password), they had complimentary breakfast right across the parking lot above Captain Kids Buffet (I think that's the name?) and they had a big variety! Sausage, eggs, potatoes, waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, bagels, donuts, fruit, pastries, coffee, milk, juice - it was all there! Our sink had trouble draining and would fill up pretty quickly so we filled out a comment card with our issue and turned it in at the front desk on our way our to Disneyland one morning and when we came back, it was all fixed! Lighting wasn't the greatest but wasn't that big of a deal. Our tv was having an issue at one point so we called the front desk and they had someone at our room within about 10 minutes and fixed the problem right away. We had a room with 2 queen beds plus a sofa bed. Overall, a very nice stay and the staff was very pleasant. Will definitely stay here again.

    4
    « Great Breakfast »

We were a group of 10 staying at this hotel. The hotel was very easy to make reservations with and the staff was very helpful in making sure our three rooms were together. When we arrived the rooms were ready and check in was very fast. The rooms at this hotel were very clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel is great. It is just across the street from Disneyland. We used the Disneyland Express from the airport and the bus stops right in front of the hotel. On our next trip to Disneyland we will stay here again!

« Good value close to Disneyland »

This is a good choice for a family going to Disneyland. Our expectations are never that high going to Disneyland or Disneyworld. The hotels near both and even on the sites are constantly booked so we feel they dont have to go beyond adequate but we were pleasantly suprised with this one, particularly for a large family(13 of us). The rooms are a good size, clean, comfortable beds, good quality internet. (no streaming of course). Breakfast was above average and perfect for families. (powdered eggs yuck). Its far pricier than most hotels of this calibre but not for adjacent to Disneyland.

    5
    « Can't Beat the Location! »

We've stayed at the BW Plus Park Place Inn several times in the past. It is conveniently located to the Park...5 min. walk. Although the rooms are a little dated, they are clean. The staff is courteous, friendly and very helpful. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for cleanliness & convenience at a very reasonable rate.

« Great experience, directly across the street from Disney entrance. »

The hotel was in good repair, was clean and had comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful when my Dad wanted a ground room floor. We were allowed to park that morning by registering early, then walked across the street to Disneyland. There is an IHOP right next door and a Denny's is close by.

« Best place to stay »

« Excellent place to stay »

The rooms were comfortable and clean. A great breakfast was provided at a restaurant next door. The hotel is across the street from Disneyland and easy walk away. Nice to be able to duck back for an afternoon nap. I can highly recommend this hotel.

« Great for your Disneyland vacation »

This hotel is the second or third closest hotel to the park entrance and is an easy walk. We try to go to Disneyland every year, and this is a great location for that. It is not a quiet hotel - the walls are not well insulated and let sound right in. The top floor may be a little quieter. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is free and hearty, but lacks variety. You cannot take food back to your room, you have to eat in the dining area. I would highly recommend this hotel for a Disneyland visit based just on its location and cleanliness.

    5
    « Great choice »

We had a great experience staying here during our Disneyland trip. You can't beat the proximity to the parks or the cost of the rooms. The staff was very helpful and the manager was especially friendly. Decent breakfast. Pool and hot tub were nice enough for the hour or two we were able to spend there. The extra space of the suites was great to have. I chose this hotel for our group of 8 (4 rooms) and everyone was very pleased and complimentary. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Me and my Wife stayed 3 days at this Hotel to enjoy Disneyland parade and both parks, this hotel was the best option that We got. The Hotel is very clean and right across the street is the Disney and California Adventure Park. The personal is very helpful and supportive with the hotel guests., Safe neat although It was a little bit noisy in the ground floor rooms due to the hotel park access. It was a great stay for Us.

« Walk across to Disney, but not worth the price »

I picked this hotel because it was convenient to just walk across to Disneyland. When we drove up. Hotel lobby is very nice. However, we had a problem at check in, and Eric the supervisor was there and didn't even want to try to help resolve the problem. He told us to call customer service for Best Western. As soon as we parked to find our room, I new by the outside , it was going to be a ugly room. Yes it was suppose to be a King "suite". Not even close, as soon as we opened the door, an awful old smell, old looking room. It was clean, but very outdated. Didn't get any sleep, the walls are so thin that the man next door snoring sounded like he was in the same room. Bed very, very uncomfortable, woke up with a sore back. And they charge $10 for parking per night!! I would rather pay for a nicer hotel a bit farther and pay $5 for ride the shuttle to Disneyland. The price is almost the same as an upscale hotel. Don't waste your money. Try Candy Cane hotel next door instead.

    5
    « Perfect Disneyland Hotel »

We have stayed at this hotel many times, and it is the perfect location for a visit to Disneyland. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are worth the price. And the location is directly across from the entrance.

« Great place for a Disney Trip »

If you have small kids and feel you will need to head back to the room during your Disney visit, this is the place. Great rooms and across the street from the park entrance. Breakfast is enough to get to you lunch and not spend the prices for food at the park

    « Disneyland Trip »

Great place to stay. Rooms are roomy and come with refrigerator and microwave. Full breakfast is included, eggs, breakfast meats, oatmeal, fruits, bagels and more! The pool and hot tub are great for a mid afternoon break from the park or a relaxing end to a fun filled day! The bonus is that its right across the street from Disneyland's entrance!

« Super Location Nice Staff »

Enjoyed our stay because of the convenience and staff courtesy, Breakfast very sugar oriented and eggs were a mystery. Room was large and clean and we appreciated refrig and microwave. would have like lighted make-up mirror as dim lighting.

    « Disneyland Family Time »

Very nice stay. Clean rooms, attention to any problems was quick, and accommodated a large group with varied schedules. Right across the street from Disneyland and we love to get the 'mini-suite' it gives us a bit more room and our family of 5 adults can stay in it just fine. Breakfast was fine and got us through until some lunch in the park. We have stayed here many times over the years and have tried other venues, but always go back.

    3
    « Awesome location »

I stayed here for 5 days on business and loved the location. It is close to many attractions and restaurants which you can get to by walking. This is definitely a plus since I didn't see very many taxis. It is right across the street from disney. The room was not bad but I've stayed in other budget hotels that had much better rooms for the same price. There is a basic breakfast included as well as free wi-fi but the wi-fi only worked well the first couple days. I wasn't able to connect during the last 3 days of my trip, which was not cool since I was there on business. In terms of value for money, this hotel delivers. the only negative, there was an error on my bill which I was never able to resolve despite repeated calls to the hotel.

    4
    « Disneyland hotel »

My family goes to Disneyland every year. We found this hotel about 3 years ago and have not stayed anywhere else since! For location this cant be beat!! We always have a clean room and the hot breakfast is always a nice touch! The outside of the hotel recently had some upgrades done which look very nice. If you are wanting a clean room close to Disneyland this is the place!

    « Location, location, location! »

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for the simple fact that this hotel is directly across Disneyland's main gate. I cannot stress enough how much better our annual Disneyland/California Adventure trip was because of this hotel's location. I was also comforted by the fact that guests can park their car at $10.00/day in the hotel lot (except for check-out day when you have until 3 PM to move it), and that if I wanted, I could still take a nap without having to hoof it a long distance to one of the other hotels. This place is the best choice for people who don't want to pay exorbitant amounts staying on the Disney property. Make your reservations far in advance to ensure that you get a room during the holidays. We were here during the Halloween season & I barely got my reservation in June before they sold out the week of September 30, which is the week we visited. We got Room 105 on the ground level, which gave us perfect access to the front desk, parking lot & a head start to the Disney main gate. The hotel enforces a quiet time starting at 8 PM, so we didn't experience disruptions through the night. All in all, our room was spacious, clean & well-maintained. We will always make our very best effort to stay here when planning our Disneyland vacations!

The location was top notch and the breakfast was nice on the pocket book. The staff from check in to check out were very accommodating. They even helped with Papa's rental scooter from another company. They helped track our super shuttle down as well. Above and beyond if you ask me!

    « Can't wait to stay again »

Stayed here 7 nights and loved it!!! Right across the street from the Disneyland entrance was a plus. Rental car place in lobby and centrally located to anything you could need on South Harbor Blvd. But more than that. it was the people that worked here. Everyone was always so nice and spoke in the walkways. The front desk staff was great about letting us take our "first look" photos in the lobby on our wedding day, and even when we were waiting for the shuttle upon checkout I was sharing pictures with the front desk staff from the wedding day and they were genuinely interested. Complimentary breakfast was great too. I cannot wait to come back and stay at this hotel.

Best place to stay if you're going to Disneyland. Right across the street from entrance. Includes a fairly complete breakfast. Nice pool and spa to relax in after a full day at Disneyland. We stay here every time we go to Disneyland.

This was our first trip to Disneyland. The location was great, the value is excellent, and the staff was incredible. The rooms are clean but a little dated. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting Disneyland..

Location was great - right across the street from Disneyland - walking distance to many restaurant and eateries - great price and breakfast was included. Already booked to stay here again in May for the Disney Tinker Bell races.

    « It's across the street. »

We've stayed in a few other locations when going to Disneyland and we always end up complaining at the end of the trip about how long it takes to get to the park, so this time we booked something right across the street. Being so close to the park made the trip much more enjoyable. This hotel had rooms enough for my family of five which was also a plus. Staff was nice but the real big downside was the cleanliness of the rooms. There was cobwebs on the lights above the sink area, dust and dirt in the corners and on lampshades and Tv and the rug was disgusting and had was coming loose from the floor not to mention the water damage issues in the bathroom,. This gets a higher rating because it's so close to the park and besides walking into the room to sleep we had little use for the room and just ignored how dirty the room was. The room was close to the street so there was a lot of noise coming from the street so if you can get a room at the back of the hotel away from the street that would be a good move. Overall we would probably stay here again because of how close it was, I wouldn't paying a few bucks more a night though for them to invest in some more housekeepers and more maintenance though.

« Super clean, excellent breakfast »

We only stay at the Park Place Inn when going to Disneyland. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the staff goes out of their way to make sure we are comfortable, and the FREE hot breakfast is awesome! Just walk across the street and you are in the Happiest Place on Earth!

I really liked how close this hotel was to Disneyland. The staff was accommodating and generally friendly. The breakfast was well laid out and there was a lot of room for many stations and many guests.

« Great Place to Stay!! »

I have stayed at Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier our families previous visits to Disneyland. I wanted to save money and try staying across the street. I have read all the reviews most of them are awsome and a few made me worry. I can tell you there is nothing to worry about at this hotel. It is a 5 min walk to the gate great for coming back in the middle of the day. I had no problems with anything. Wifi great room was nice and clean no bugs any where inside or out. the room decor is fine . We stayed in a 2 queen beds with a pull out sofa couch . Lots of room for me 2 young kids. Pool is small but with toddlers they dont care hot tub was nice and relaxing at the end of the day. Would stay here again . I saved over 1000 dollars staying at this hotel instead of Disneyland Hotel.

« Good hotel, great location »

The proximity to Disneyland is the hotel's biggest "plus". The breakfast was ample with good variety. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. However, the air conditioner was so noisy we preferred to have the room warm rather than to have the AC run continuously.

    « paradox »

Excellent hotel accommodations. Room was very clean, Extremely convenient location right across from the entrance to Disneyland park resort, as close to the gate as you can get. I was however, quite put off by the experience of having discovered an error in my billing. I was charged three nights instead of the two that we actually stayed and would not have even known had I not checked my credit card balance that morning electronically. I was miles away and had to return to try to get it all straightened out. The explanation I was given was confusing and I had to ask for clarification three times. I never did quite understand why. In addition to to that, the night desk person had me down for just one night instead of the two that I had reserved well in advance the day I checked in. So, I would definitely recommend for the extremely convenient location and the cleanliness, but personally will never stay there ever again.

« Best Place To Stay In Disneyland Area »

This is our new favorite place in Disneyland. It's the closest hotel to Disneyland and it was just a beautiful retreat after a long day in the park. Just FYI, they charge a $10.00 day fee if you bring a vehicle. We took the shuttle so no fee. If you decide to leave your car at the hotel on your checkout day and go into the park there is a $25.00 an hour fee. So make sure you move your car. And you will have no surprises.

« Close to the beach area »

The hotel average I wasn't able to use swimming pool it need to be more warmer to swim at night the swimming pool area dark need more lighting. This hotel is about a block away from the beach which is great for beach lovers. There's also bicycle and beach chairs you can use.

    « Another Great Stay »

We prefer the Best Western when visiting Disneyland due to its location and reasonable prices for spacious rooms. It's always clean and relatively quiet. We booked two king rooms for our group and requested connecting rooms. Our request was met. The king bed was very comfortable, but the sofa bed that my 2 year old slept on was not. He was fine with it, but I wouldn't have wanted to sleep on the thin mattress. But what can you expect from a hotel sofa sleeper? Bathroom was clean, and the water was always hot with plenty of pressure. The only noises we heard were people walking by outside and the occasional heavy footsteps above us, and we were on the first floor as all the king rooms are. The only other minor complain I had was that I'm glad that we had access to another room as our fridge did not have a freezer compartment, but the one in the connecting room did. I thought that was a little odd. The redone breakfast area was nice and seemed to have more seating than before. I continue to recommend the Best Western Park Place Inn.

« Consider it our Hotel Home »

Best Western Park Place Inn is convenient for our Disneyland vacations. It is very welcoming, helpful, and courteous, Beds are comfortable, rooms very clean, remodeled dining area offers a wide variety of great breakfast items, included in the hotel price. Staff is WONDERFUL and they go out of their way to make our BEST Western Park Place stay always the BEST ever.

    « Great location »

First stay here, and will do again. Room sizes are good, quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Best location and I think even closer than staying in a Disney hotel. Staff on the front desk were very helpful. Included breakfast buffet is one of the best included buffets I have seen. I booked another visit when we checked out.

    5
« Best Western Plus Park Place Inn »

Best hotel to stay at when visiting Disneyland. Liked that room had many lamps. Free breakfast provided so can eat and run to Disney instead of searching for a breakfast place. Parking reasonable at $10/day. Front desk very helpful and friendly. Low flow shower head, but understand need to conserve water. Will stay here if visiting again.

    « Location location location! »

You could not find a hotel that was closer to Disneyland without staying in one of their over-priced resorts. This Best Western is the one right across the streets from the park entrance where the shuttle buses drop you off. The room was spacious, the breakfast was pretty good, and they let us park our vehicle there for the whole 2 days we were in Disneyland not just from check-in until check-out, without extra fees (we had to request but they were very accommodating).

« THE place to stay when visiting Mickey »

My wife and I haven't been to Disneyland for 14 years. Our son and daughter-in-law, and granddaughter, are regular visitors and suggested we stay where they do, the Best Western Park Place Inn and Mini-Suites. So we did for 8 days. It was an excellent choice. First, is the location. Yes, some wise business person said the basics for success were location, location, location. This property has that in spades. Walk half a block and you are at the Disneyland gates. It is very easy to slip back to the room for a break in the action before returning to the park totally recharged. Second, has to be the staff. Everyone in all departments from housekeeping, to maintenance, to reception supported our holiday in a very friendly, efficient and professional manner. We were always greeted with a smile and our questions were answered promptly and pleasantly. Third, is the room. The king size bed and pillows provided us a wonderful night's sleep from day one of our holiday. Relaxation is a big part of what we want on a holiday, especially a day filled with Disney activities, and the comfort the room provided was right on the money. The room was well appointed, even though the décor was dated, and the housekeeping staff kept it very clean. Fourth is the complimentary breakfast. What a great idea! There is a good variety of breakfast items and it was a nice start to a typically busy day. Fifth is the pool area. What a nice way to refresh during a busy day of rides and shows. You should have heard the gleeful laughter of our granddaughter in the pool after a half day of park rides and entertainment. She, and all of us, were reinvigorated to return to the park for the evening. Sixth is the room rate charged was very reasonable. With the motor association discount we were very satisfied that we got value for our dollar. The Best Western Park Place Inn and Mini-Suites will be our choice for accommodations the next time we visit.

« Great place to stay for visiting Disneyland »

You can get NO closer to the Disneyland Resort!!! Friendly staff, nice rooms, and a decent rate! My son and I always attempt to book this hotel for our visits to the Disneyland Resort. Only downfall that we both agree on, is the Captain Kids breakfast (included with stay) is NOT GOOD AT ALL!!

« Nice location Poor free Breakfast and Noise »

We took our family to Disneyland and chose this hotel. The staff was great and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We were on the second floor of the three floor hotel. Small children began running around the room above us at about 11:30 PM and continued until after 2:00 AM. We complained to the staff. They may have tried to do something but the noise did not stop. It's not a very sound proof hotel. The free breakfast that was supposed to last until 10 AM did not work well. Many of us who arrived between 9:30 and 9:45 AM found that trays were not resupplied and the staff was busy cleaning up the room in a hurry to close the room. We had to ask for items that should have been resupplied. I might stay here again because of the location, but not for good sleeping for for the "free" breakfast. IHop is next door. That will cost us money but at least they will have food available as advertised.

« good value for your money »

The mini suites are spacious and we love the. My only complaint would be the dresser tops were sticky and the rugs are very dirty so don't walk barefoot on them. Very close to Disneyland Parks and places to eat. I would highly recommend for convenience factor.

« Great hotel across the road from Disneyland!! »

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in September to visit the Disneyland Parks and were really happy we chose this hotel. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly whenever I had queries at Reception. Their breakfast area was under construction but the hotel still had an area outside where we were able to pack our own breakfast to take with us to Disneyland, which was great!! It was really yummy and the staff again so very friendly. Disneyland is just a 5-10 min walk across the road. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to spend a couple of days at Disneyland!! Many thanks to the staff for a wonderful staff, we will definitely stay again if we visit this area again.

« Perfect for weary feet »

After a exciting, fun and very long day at Disneyland , this is the perfect place to rest those weary bones. My grand daughter and I had no trouble falling asleep in a very comfortable room. Parking and accommodations are excellent.

« Closest Hotel to Disneyland on Harbor Dr. »

We got the suite so the room might be a little bigger than others. Not a bad room, but nothing fancy. We've stayed at other nearby hotels and my family was tired of walking back after a long day at Disney, but not far enough to warrant a ride. So we tried this hotel and it really is the closest to the Disney entrance. And the breakfast is pretty good. Will stay here again just for the convenience alone.

    4
« Right across street from Disneyland »

This is one of the closest hotels right across from Disneyland. We have stayed here 3 times. The staff if great. The rooms hold 6 people very comfortably. The breakfast is so-so but it does feed the kids. I stayed with the cold cereal. I will go back to this hotel again.

« Great Value Perfect Location »

We have stayed at this property multiple times and it always fits our needs and is strongly supported by 5 star customer service. we have two small children so proximity to Disneyland for naps and at the end of the day is very important. Clean and well maintained.

« Great stay across from Disneyland »

The Best Western PLUS Park Place Inn was a very convenient location directly across the street form the entrance to Disneyland. The breakfast was a very good way to prepare for a long day of enjoying Disneyland. The quiet hours (9 PM to 8 AM) allowed the whole family to recharge before embarking on another day in "The Magic Kingdom".

    5
« Great hotel and location »

You can't get closer to the entrance of Disney with out staying at a pricier Disney hotel. The rooms are clean and made for families. They have a great breakfast that is free and easy to get to. Highly recommend for your Disney stay.

    4
    « Good enough! »

The location is why we booked this room. You basically have all of the convenience of staying on property without the price tag. It's not a fancy hotel, but it gets the job done. The room was surprisingly spacious and clean. The breakfast room had recently been redone but the food is pretty bad. The standards are there...cereal, yogurt, juice, milk, and fruit. They also have pastries, and the hot foods (eggs, meat, potatoes, waffles) were a mistake we only made once. Overall, it was a great experience and considering how little time we actually spend hanging out in our hotel room, the location made up for any shortcomings. As a frequent Disneyland visitor, I can say this is definitely one of my favorite places to stay!

    « Location Location Location »

Directly across the street from Disneyland entrance. Super convenient with access to dining just a couple of steps away from front door. Great hotel for families. The room had a microwave and mini fridge. Taxi cab from the nearest target was only $14 round trip.

    « Never again »

I will give this hotel credit for one thing, the location is absolutely excellent. It is mere steps from Disneyland. However I will never stay here again. Upon check in I was assigned a handicap-accessible room, though I did not request one. When we entered the room, it was immediately clear that my boyfriend could not fully stand up in the modified shower without hitting his head on the ceiling. I went back to the front desk and asked if we could possibly be switched to another room. I was told no, they could not switch us and that "these things happen when you book online." When I complained further I was told they had one day later in the week that we could switch, but we would have to completely vacate the room and remove all of our belongings from 11am to 3pm that day. This was not an option for us, so we were basically told that he should just learn to take showers sitting down. In addition, the walls were paper thin, and it was noisy constantly. The bed was also terribly uncomfortable. It would have been so completely worth it to walk a little further to the park and stay somewhere that actually cares about the guests.

    « cockroach! »

We had good experiences with the front desk, maid service and maintenance staff. Our daughter was here also and killed a cockroach in her room. They offered another room and discount at checkout. The breakfast was meh and out of 7 days, went to Starbucks a few times for a break. The best part is it's location of course. There's much to be said about walking across the street and being in Disneyland, California and Disney downtown!

    5
« Great, affordable place to stay »

Great place to stay as a family, close to disneyland and california adventure, didnt use the car at all. Close to affordable restaurants too. Service was good, staff was friendly. Room did what it was supposed to for a family of five. Would stay here again.

    3
    « Location is everything »

It's a moderate, comfortable hotel. It clearly capitalizes on the location, right across the street from Disneyland main entrance. Otherwise, it's about average but overpriced. You're paying for the convenience to Disneyland. Breakfast is nothing to brag about. If you're on a budget, eat there, otherwise, Denny's or I-Hop is better.

    4
    « Park Place Inn - Anaheim »

We've stayed at the hotel numerous times over the years, because it is right across the street from the Disneyland entrance. Most of the time, our experience has been good; clean rooms, etc. In addition, now that have a "quite time zone" so we can sleep, thanks!

    4
    « Fantastic Location »

The hotel was clean, and the beds were OK. However, I could walk from my room to the entrance to Disneyland in about two minutes. And for that, I would totally recommend this place. I'm not spending a lot of time in my hotel. The convenience of the location far outweighed any shortcomings it had.

    4
    « Always a good stay »

We have been staying at Best Western for years, and have had good clean rooms every time. We have stayed at other places only because there was no room at Best Western, they were only a place to stay. We like Best Western, we are happy there.

« Still the Best Quality when visiting Disneyland »

Conveniently located accross the street from the Disneyland entrance. Clean, well maintained rooms. A good variety of options in the complimentary breakfast. Complimentary wi-fi is an added bonus. Also within walking distance of IHOP, Denny's and McDonalds for additional dining options. Still my first choice of hotels when visiting Disneyland.

    4
    « Location, location »

Directly across from street entrance to parks then few minutes walk to bag check and gates. Perfectly positioned for mid day rests. Super clean room, comfortable beds. Basic decor. Only negatives- Air conditioner a bit noisy and grab n go breakfast due to breakfast room renovation boring and the same each day. Staff accommodating. Good value.

« It is all about location. »

The hotel is about as close as you can get to the main entrance to both parks with the exception of the Grand Californian. It is only a 5 minute walk from either parks gates to this hotel. The hotel is more of a motel style with no hallways. They have a pool. Didn't use it. They are having their breakfast area remodeled so they are offering breakfast browns bags to go. Options are microwaved sausage egg mcmuffin, apples, bananas, orange juice, coffee, granola bars, muffins. Very basic simple stuff. Beats $15/person at IHop next door. Staff was great. No issues. Rooms are basic. Nothing fancy. They do have a small fridge and microwave. Furniture and fixtures are older. Overall a clean place. Small roach did sneak into our room one day when we opened the door. It was quickly killed and we never seen another one during our 4 night stay. In the end, the price (abt $135/ night) was worth the location. Any higher price I would expect a little more (i.e. newer rooms, more amenities, better breakfast, etc.). Tip: If ever visiting Disneyland during Halloween time, take advantage of their Mickey Halloween Party nights. The tickets are at a reduced rate, they get you into the park at 3pm, regular guests are kicked out at 6pm, and the park is wide open to the Party guests from 6-11pm. All rides are pretty much walk up and ride.

« Great location and staff....but cockroaches killed the rating! »

We loved this hotel the first two nights we stayed there (the staff was AMAZING and the location cannot be beat), however, on the third day we found a cockroach in our room (hence the two star review). The manager was very nice about the situation and listened to our complaint, but we still felt the need to write a review to warn other guests (especially those with children). Hopefully they will solve this issue in the future as the hotel itself (and its staff) are wonderful.

    5
« Can't Beat this Hotel For Service and Convenience »

This is the hotel I always choose when in this area. The staff is professional, courteous and accomodating. Just cross the street and you are on the walk into Disneyland. They have modernized their breakfast room and it has a lot more seating than previously and is tastefully decorated. Very clean. If you can't handle the steps, they will let you sit downstairs and bring you your selected foods. They go out of their way to make your stay great. Beds comfortable. Roomy, like the divider when you need to use the sofa sleeper as it provides a measure of privacy.

    4
    « Disneyland »

This is a very good hotel to stay at because it is the closest one to Disneyland. So if small children need naps or Mom or Dad forget something it is conveniently located. After a long tiring day at Disneyland this is so nice to come right to and not have to drive a ways to get to bed.

    3
    « Great stay »

Another stay at our Disneyland favorite. Very close to main gate and comfy beds. Room was very clean . Great value. Only disappointment this visit was electrical outlets in room seemed very worn, plugs would not stay in. Staff very friendly .

    4
« Best place to stay at Disneyland »

You can't beat the location (it's literally across the street from Disneyland). Nothing fancy, but clean and just what you need for a Disney stay. The wifi has greatly improved from our last visit, thanks! We had one hiccup this time with the reservation. Despite confirming three times (including once upon check in) that our second room would be held overnight for a party coming in on a red eye flight from Hawaii, their room was released. After some frustration, they were able to get the room back, but only because no one else had suddenly reserved it. It could have been disastrous. I was disappointed that this happened, but it was resolved.

    3
« Nice location, bad service »

the hotel is conveniently located in front of the Disneyland main entrance, so considering that you will expend the whole day at the park, this could be a good option. The problem is the service, i reserved a room, but when I present my mexican credit card they did not accepted because the didn´t showed my name in it, so i had to pay in cash, this is absurd. The pool is small, and the room looked old and without maintenance. There are some others hotel next to it, that look better and friendly than this.

    4
« Great minus the breakfast »

We chose this hotel because of it's location and it was advertised having a "full warm breakfast". When we checked in they informed us the breakfast room was being renovated so they had a grab and go breakfast. There was minimual offerings, not enough to have something different each day and actually be full. After 3 mornings of the same thing we went to a restaurant on the 4th morning. I thought our room rate should have been adjusted to reflect this or had been notified to bring different food and use the mini fridge. Other than that it was a great facility and staff.

    5
« Another Great Stay at BWPPI! »

We love this hotel. We have stayed once before and really the location can't be beat. The rooms are really large and always CLEAN which is the most important thing to me. I read others saying the beds are bad, well, personally I love a firm mattress, especially after a long day in the parks. I slept like a rock/baby all 3 nights because of the wonderful firm mattress. The kids loved the pool, which was perfect since it was 98 and 96 degrees (ugh) when we stayed. The grab and go breakfast was great. I heated the breakfast sandwiches in the room and got the banana, muffin and granola bar for later in the parks for a snack. They had coffee down in the grab and go area as well. Everyone we came into contact with (staff wise) were helpful and cheerful, which is always appreciated. As someone else mentioned, yes, the AC is a bit loud, but I find that it is perfect because it drowns out the noise from other rooms/hotel guests as well as the street sounds you can sometimes get. So it worked out well for us. We can't wait to come back again (which will actually be next month, ha ha ha)!

    5
« Best choice we could make for the Money. »

Hotel was better than expected. Does that sound bad, it shouldnt. I know these hotels get hammered buy guest to disneyland and was worried, but we're very pleased with hotel and would definitly stay here again. If you cannot stay at disney hotel, then this is next best choice. We are used to orlando, so we had no idea it was really that close to park entrance. The room had a couch and a comfortable bed. The breakfast area was under construction so they arranged a outside breakfast area to go buy and get stuff. To out suprise it was only 20 feet from our door. And the items were fine for us. Probably worked out better than an indoor area with long lines. So overall we were very happy with hotel, front desk, parking and cleaning.

« Best Western Park Place Is The Place to Stay »

Not only is it located right across the street from Disneyland, but the rooms are always clean and beds are always comfortable. I wouldn't pick any other place!! They also offer a free breakfast that is not only good, but also convenient. You get up, have breakfast and are ready to go enjoy your day is Disneyland!

We were all tired so we went back to the room to sleep and right after we put our pjs on we were able to watch the firework show from the room, It was amazing. The beds were comfy. i will bring my family here again. Double thumbs up :)

    « Great Location! »

Perfect location - right across from entrance. Perfect for families, smaller groups, etc. Free internet, free parking, free breakfast, pool hot tub, laundry. Clean, although rooms need updating. Probably does not matter too much because you are usually in the park all day. I would have preferred better pillows or a harder mattress, but but overall pretty good place.

« Simple but amazing location! »

This is obviously not the Four Seasons, however, the location is the BEST! Service is decent enough.. Bed sheets were a little weird but not a deal breaker specially after a day at Disneyland! Would stay there again for location and price alone. It was super convenient to walk to and from the Park.

    « Hard Beds and Loud A/C ; Heater = No sleep »

What a disappointment. On the outside it looks good, on the inside it is a Motel 6 from 1970. The Beds: The Bed was so bad we could not sleep and had to cut our Vacation short just to go home and get a decent nights sleep. I asked to move to another room but was told all the beds are the same. I can stand sleeping on a Firm Bed but this was above and beyond Firm. "Plywood on springs" Overpriced and this place is not worth the short walk, if you are staying in the back then it really is not the closet hotel. So many people talked about the location they side stepped the real problems. I contacted the Gen. Man. after we got home she said " I will never sleep in a bed as nice as my own bed at a motel/hotel." The above is not true. The A/C / Heater: The A/C Heater IS LOUD even on low. So you had to compromise. Loud A/C / Heater or somewhat quite. We left the A/C on when we went to Disney when we came back it was off. After that we did contact the staff about the A/C / Heater as well as not having not needing our room cleaned. Guess which one they did. They claimed that we did not contact them about the A/C The Area: Downtown Disney has great food except for Earl of Sandwich IHOP is terrible Earl of Sandwiches is awful Captain's Kidd's Buffet LOOK BEFORE YOU PURCHASE!!!! That pizza place a few doors down is OK The store next to IHOP sells knock off Disney items cheaper than the(3 shirts for $17) Best Western Disney's Knock offs. The staff did not have any or much knowledge about the restaurants in the area. In All: This Best Western Ruined our Vacation and does not deserve the credit this site gives it. I can no longer trust this site. We stayed here based on this sites ranking of the hotel.

Staff were professional and friendly throughout entire stay. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and beds were wonderful to sleep in after a long day. Highly recommend this hotel even if it wasn't located across the street from Disneyland.

    « TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE »

Avoid this place with a 10 foot pole. Very noisy, walls are thin. The mini suites has the sink outside the toilet and bathtub...go figure. Staff not accomodating at all. They promised hot buffet breakfast but due to reno they offered a sausage/egg sandwich BUT my family cannot eat pork and my daughter a vegeterian. They were not willing to change or accomodate at all. Staff behind the ocunter were not helpful at all. They don't understand not to argue with customers. Place is dirty. AVOID AT ALL COST

« Great location and amenities »

We arrived in LA late at night with 2 young kids and after being in a really crappy motel elsewhere. This was awesome, the check in lady was really friendly and the room was really spacious for us all. The fact that the couch was a sofa bed was great as it meant the kids could have a bed each and this was a huge bonus we were not expecting. Having simple things like the fridge and microwave was good to keep drinks cold as it was hot. Only gripe was the air con was so loud!! A little annoying the breakfast restaurant next door was being upgraded and we had grab and go breakfast which in theory were good but by day 7 we were really over them as they were the same every morning and a bit noisy at night. We rented a car twice while there and having this available in the lobby was so convenient. We spent so much time at the parks we could not get our laundry done in the time frame allowable and the hotel offered a laundry service (not a dry clean service although they had that too) and we used this which was super handy. As for location...we could not have done any better it was fantastic to get up and bam-you were there ready to get in the park and you had the bonus of seeing those amazing fireworks every night from your room (loud but beautiful). Overall a fantastic option for affordable spacious accommodation with excellent access to the Disney parks. Would definitely recommend.

« Best hotel not on the Disney lot »

Super clean, super friendly staff, and super close to Disneyland! Wifi went in and out, but if you're going to Anaheim/ Disneyland and you have enough time to spend in the hotel to complain about the wifi then you aren't doing it right. I would recommend this hotel even over Paradise Pier on Disney property. I personally found this hotel much more accommodating and accessible.

« Very good hotel choice »

Great hotel, great price and location. Closer to Disneyland than the other resort hotels (with the exception of the California Grand). The only thing I will do differently next time is request a 3rd floor end unit room. Everyone passes through the first floor on the way to the parks in the morning and are usually very loud and excited, which woke my family up very early every morning. Other than that, I won't stay anywhere else when we visit Disneyland.

« Trouble with your internet Wifi service »

Asked at least 3 times to have the problem fixed. Only once did the fix work and then only for a few hours. Kept telling me to call the internet service provider. My room was at the very back of the hotel and around a corner. I think the Wifi antenna did not work in this location.

« Great location for Disneyland visit »

We stayed here based on the recommendation of a friend and so glad we did. It's a FANTASTIC location right across the street from Disneyland, but not nearly as expensive as nearby locations (like the Disneyland Hotel). The rooms were older, but more than adequate. The beds were comfy, modern TV, bathroom was fine. The breakfast buffet had a lot to be desired, but it was enough to hold us over until we got into the park each day. Overall, this was an awesome choice for us during our visit to Disneyland. It was so easy for us to go back and forth to the hotel to rest after getting hand stamps from the park. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting Disneyland. We always felt safe coming and going and the people at the front desk were always really nice.

    « Disgusting! »

Avoid this dump at all costs! The only good thing about it is its location across the street from Disneyland. Beyond that, it is disgusting! The carpeting was filthy. I put towels down so I wouldn't have to walk on it. The noise was horrendous. I made the reservation last January asking to be put on the top floor. Instead, I was put on the ground floor so was kept awake by the people above me stomping around. The frequent, loud people outside my door didn't help. The wireless internet was spotty enough to be unusable and the coffee was bad. I like BW in general. This place needs to be dropped by the brand.

    « Wow, what a disgusting place. »

Don't even consider staying here. I feel like I've been taken. The carpeting was disgustingly dirty, the front door didn't fully close, the wireless barely worked, the coffee was terrible and the breakfast area was closed so we were given inedible microwaveable breakfast sandwiched. Avoid like the plague.

« Closer to Disneyland then The Disneyland Hotel! »

My Wife and I stayed here for 1 week in September 2015. We found the rooms to be very nice, clean and spacious. The house keeping was excellent. During our stay the breakfast room was being upgraded. However a free bagged breakfast was provide. It was just fine and definitely saved us a few dollars vs buying breakfast in the parks. When we return to Disneyland this hotel will be my first pick every time. Unfortunately they are already fully booked at Christmas time this year so we are staying down the road.
