Best Western Greenfield Inn

Odd smell when entering the room -- probably the laminate flooring this property uses instead of carpeting. Older hotel, was probably pretty nice in its prime. Now, everything is dated. But the room was generally clean and in working order. While the property is close to I-94, I had an interior room and there was no road noise. The breakfast was eggs/ham/hash browns and was generally good. The internet was a little slow. There is a restaurant on property, but otherwise nothing is safely walkable -- the hotel is essentially on an off ramp. However, there is a very large shopping center (Target, Meijer, and an assortment of casual sit-down and fast casual restaurants) just on the other side on 1-94.

Hotel stay was very pleasant. Staff was also very pleasant. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Very easy to find. Close enough to Ford Field, but yet far enough away to avoid the hustle

I don't give 10s, buts this place is very close to it. Rooms clean, restaurant was good, and clean, and about the same prices as any steakhouse you go to. The breakfast was great, just get there early. My 9yr old daughter was upset she couldnt sit on hot tub with me and her mom, she's a softball player and used to it when we travel. Bout the only complaint I really have.

Rooms don't have individual HVAC you can set the temp for the room. but if you want it cooler good luck. our room was 80 when we got in and could not cool it off. was told by the front desk to open the window. 32 out side. had the window open the complete stay and room never got below 75 with the room thermostat turned off. Pool was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom. can the chemical balance was so far off that it burned your eyes.

Good stay! The Godfrey in downtown Detroit me a sed up my reservation and took zero responsibility for it and left me scrambling for a reservation on a busy Lions game night. Thank goodness for this Best Western for being close, friendly, clean, and affordable, considering there was a HUGE football game happening. Check-in was very easy and quick by the friendly front desk lady. The room was clean and well stocked with coffee fixins, clean plentiful towels, and a comfortable bed with SIX pillows! Loved all the pillows! So soft and comfortable. I slept very well! I would definitely consider the Best Western again if I'm in town and have a vehicle.

We had a very out of school relaxing stay, the kids enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and workout room, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the staff was great

Stayed from Friday to Monday for an epic concert weekend. We were so happy with our choice of hotel, the price was great and it was comfortable and I love that the room didn't have carpet. The free breakfast was good and the coffee wasn't bad either. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

This is a very nice fun place. It has a tavern style bar. A wonderful hot tub and swimming pool. I booked my trip package with PRICELINE, that was a BIG MISTAKE! PRICELINE wanted me to pay with two different means of full payment. They were supposed to return on of those charges, they didn't. I've tried contacting Priceline several times and they haven't returned either one of those payments. They are a deceptive scam company. I'll never use Priceline again!

Visiting The Henry Ford and other local attractions, the Best Western Greenfield Inn was the perfect choice for our family, two mature (60's) adults and one teen. The hallways alone were an enjoyable experience with all of the automotive prints, very motivating for a trip to “Motor City”. We bought a package which included a reduced rate at the museum, Greenfield Village, and the assembly plant tour. They also provide door-to-door transportation to and from the attractions at no cost and at our convenience. Regarding the hotel itself, the included breakfast was good and exactly what you would expect as a traveler. They mix it up each morning: eggs, pancakes, breakfast meat, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruits, cereals, yogurt, etc. No complaints from any of us, They kept the buffet bar very clean and you're eating on paper plates so clean dish ware was not an issue and made it easy. Good selection of drinks: coffee, tea, all types of juices, and water. In addition to breakfast, we ate in the restaurant a couple of evenings (yes, real plates) and the food was quite good. Drinks were cold, food was hot, grandson enjoyed it and we enjoyed it. We heard the chicken Parmesan was excellent, my wife certainly enjoyed it. Grandson loved the boneless chicken wings so much he ordered them both nights with other appetizers as well which we also enjoyed. We were there during the week and got to take advantage of the pool, hot tub, and sauna in the evening. They were very clean and hot, everything operational, certainly meeting any expectations. I usually tell of our experiences and let reviewers make up their own mind but I would encourage any of my family and/or friends that this is hands down the place to stay if you're visiting The Henry Ford or any other nearby attraction. There were many business travelers as guests, as well, and I would certainly utilize the Best Western Greenfield Inn if I were traveling for work, too.

Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Could use a waffle maker. Staff was available when needed. TV was good. They had a big indoor pool and hot tub. We did not have time to try it out. 15 mins from downtown Detroit.

Internet was fading at times. USB ports weren't working. Breakfast was cold eggs and resupplying coffee and juice was slow. The staff was friendly. Rooms were very clean and that is my most important feature.

For the price, this hotel is awesome. It has a very unique charm and is much better than I was expecting from a Best Western. Unfortunately we did not get around to trying the food or pool, but both looked beautiful. The pool seems nice, there are cute courtyards throughout, and the restaurant looked very cozy and interesting. The beds and pillows however, ARE of Best Western quality and are not very comfortable. The room was pretty nice, but the bathroom could use a little update. Also the sound deadening is very poor and you WILL hear any "activities" in adjacent rooms, so I don't know how kid friendly I would say this hotel is.

This is a great hotel...if you like smelling pot and dealing with rowdy guests at all hours of the night. On the outside, the hotel looks nice. It has a nice courtyard and pool area. The inside is run down and badly in need of renovation. In the middle of the night, we were awakened by several rowdy people in the hallway yelling and slamming doors which went on for half and hour or hour. They were clearly drunk or high. Earlier that night there were people fighting in the parking lot that we could hear from our room. The parking lot was full of people smoking pot as was the courtyard area near the pool (or they have a really bad skunk problem). You could also smell it through the hallways of the hotel. I mentioned this to the front desk and they just shrugged it off. Yes, marijuana is legal in Michigan for recreational use but is isn't legal to smoke in public places. The positives were the location as it is very accessible to The Henry Ford and the breakfast was decent and seating was ample. If I was visiting the area, I wouldn't stay there again. It would be worth it to spend more for a better quality hotel experience. Best Western really should be ashamed to have their name associated with this place.

This was a little different for a hotel. The staff was friendly. Everything was in order when we arrived . Not sure if I would stay here again. Pros: the old wooden look. Tons of automotive photos lined the hallway walls. Breakfast was ok. Cons: heavy doors (always loud when closed), small bathroom

Old but nice. Unique layout, large, clean, old charm, good free breakfast (eggs, sausage, French toast, etc and several drinks). Ignore the ridiculous negative reviews. This place was great for the price. 2.5 miles from Henry Ford Museum. I'm not a cheapskate and do not stay at cheap seedy hotels. If this place wasn't nice, i would definitely say so. I actually really enjoyed it. Will definitely stay again.

We did not have a good experience at this hotel. We were there for a 7 night stay and on the 3rd day they lost power so we had no elevator, no wifi, no hot water, no air conditioning and restaurant on site closed down so no hot breakfast for the rest of the stay. On the 5th day hot water and wifi were back and not till 6th day air conditioning was back on. I asked Manager Mary if there was going to be compensation for all the things were not getting and she said no. "You can check out and find another place to stay" was her response. She then looked at my reservation and saw I booked through a third party and stated "If I had booked through them maybe she could have helped but since I did a third party I would have to talk to them." I was there with a large family gathering so there were too many people to change everyone's reservations to a new hotel. I have never experienced such bad customer service. I did call customer relations for BW but they called hotel and came back on line and said they will not do anything and they are independently owned so there was nothing they could do. Beware of this hotel.

From the staff you encounter to the charming hotel with great amenities, This Best Western has been one of the best I have been to in a while. The courtyard is beautiful (although very busy! Had to wait for seating a few times). The bed was comfortable. The linens were soft. Highly recommended.

BEWARE!!!! We had our family reunion here this past wknd. There was no power for 3 days and they treated us like crap. It was too much to try and move bc the other area hotels were gauging and took advantage of the power outage so we decided to stay but the way the front desk clerks treated us was unacceptable. It would've been different if they treated us better or even offered to discount our stay but they basically said Eff y'all - you figure it out. I got bit by bedbugs and instead of investigating it, they pretty much ignored it - so be careful!!! I would not recommend my worst enemy to stay in this shhhht hole!!!!

We liked this hotel because of it's proximity to the Ford museum. Everything was very nice from the restaurant, pool and items served at the snack shop. Lots of fast food places close by to eat at and it's right next to the interstate for easy on / off access.

The “pink palace” is an older but comfortable hotel. While the neighborhood isn't the greatest, the hotel is very safe. Muggy's restaurant is decent and preferable to moving the car. The staff was super friendly and offered discounts to the nearby Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Villages as well as shuttle service which saves on parking fees. If one is interested in American History I highly recommend spending a day in each!

Great place at a great price. Don't forget to try the restaurant. Pizza was great beer was cold. Friendly staff clean quiet rooms. My only complaint would be getting lost in the F shaped hotel on the was to breakfast in the morning.

Found a chunk of chocolate/nutty candy in the made up, supposedly clean 2nd bed. Asked for both beds to be changed, only the candy one got changed. Didn't even replace the toilet paper while they were there. Never got the manager to respond. Little help from front desk Bath faucet was broken but we didn't report/ husband rigged it for showers Restaurants/bar and waitress were very good.. Old plugs- hard to hold charging devices but did have some USB ports. Coffee wasn't refilled daily as stated Old hotel but that didn't figure into this review. Knew what I was paying for. Couldn't get the room cool

Amazing selection for breakfast including non-dairy options. Loved the squeeze bottles in the shower so I wasn't rationing. Pillows were to die for. Soft and perfect. Room was spotless. Would highly recommend.

A nice place to stay. A little expensive if you are not there to use the amenities that can be found at the hotel. Easy access to the interstate. Not far from The Henry Ford Museum. Has a very good breakfast provide each morning.

The outside of the hotel is like a pink Victorian mansion. Navigating the hallways to get to your room is like a maze but you get used to it and figure it out after a couple days. There's a pool. The best is the breakfast. It's in an interesting restaurant and you can eat in peace with nobody guarding the breakfast area and barking at you for eating, like they do at other places.

The rooms have laminate floors which I think are more sanitary. The pool was great as was the breakfast. The carpet in the public areas needs replaced as do the outdated furniture in the rooms. Bathrooms are clean but small. I would stay there again but wish they'd update

Breakfast was awesome! The beds were very comfy and the rooms were clean. The decor of the hotel is very unique and fitting to the historical surroundings. Our kids loved it! Our only comment is that the pool was quite cold.

Great value. The hotel is clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast also. We'll definitely be back. We make about 10 trips to Detroit every year and this will be our go to hotel!

Came for a concert, 14 mins away. Rooms were clean, bed was comfy, and recommended Happy Pizza at 12:30 when we arrived hungry. Breakfast was ok, but good selection. Didnt use pool but could have with checkout time if we had brought suits. Would stay again.

It's a really nice hotel. Staff were great and it was nice to see housekeeping staff. So many hotels have very little housekeeping employees. It's kind of an old school hotel but I really had a nice stay. I also liked how they closed the gates to the other entrances.

The hotel was in a great location for many sightseeing tours we did. The rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, everything was fresh and tasty. I loved the sausage & gravy with biscuits. We would definitely stay here again.

I would recommend this place to everyone. location is close to the museum and food is close by or in house. The pool and hot tub and sauna are clean and well taken care of. the rooms are spacious and cozy.

If you're ever working at Marathon Detroit Refinery this place is an amazing place to stay. Very close to work, safe and nice amenities with a restaurant on site. Breakfast starts at 6am and I never got to try it since work started at 6am but heard it was a wonderful spread. Drinks are a little pricey at the hotel but there is a great bar a few blocks away. The White Ryno.

There were numerous things wrong with our room! First off, the room was very cold, and I was told that the heat had been turned off for the season and that I'd have to make due with extra blankets. I had to go to the front desk to get the blankets, and one of them had a ball of what appeared to be pubic hair on it. The smell of the room was awful; it smelled like the inside of a rental car that they tried to sanitize after someone smoked in it. There were gross stains on the carpet; the water pressure in the shower was very weak; there weren't any electrical sockets at all near the sink to plug in a hair dryer, electric toothbrush, curling iron, etc.; there was only ONE tiny bottle of shampoo and conditioner for a room where two people were staying; the toilet seat was loose; it was difficult to turn on the shower (we had to call the front desk for instructions), and the hallway smelled even worse than the room. My husband and I travel frequently, and this is by far the worse hotel we have stayed in for over 25 years. I worried the entire time that I was going to end up bringing home bed bugs from this hotel, yuk.

Far enough away from the airport that its a quiet and calm area, yet close enough that getting to the airport is a breeze. Right off I-94, the exit dumps you right in front of the hotel. The rooms are nice, hotel is full of unique character, VERY Detroit feel with plenty of automotive heritage paraphernalia, beautiful antique furnishings in common areas, great bar and restaurant and extremely helpful and friendly staff. This place is my new go-to when picking up or dropping off at Detroit Metro Airport, or when visiting the Henry Ford Museum or other area attraction.

We stayed here while on a tour bus trip of nearby Greenfield Village & The Henry Ford museum. This is an older hotel that's very well kept. It has character, areas to sit & visit, lots of character. It's not a cookie cutter hotel. The rooms were tastefully decorated, lots of plug-ins, comfy beds & good towels. The inside pool & hottub, outside gazebos & inside workout rooms looked good. The attached restaurant (Mugley's) gave our group 4 choices of meals. Everyone on the tour commented on how good the food was. I ordered Salisbury steak & it was delicious. Our morning continental breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again.

The place is comfortable in the rooms and the feel of the overall stay. I like the FORD MO CO memorabilia. on the walls and elevator.I didn't use the Pool or the Jacuzzi but the families staying there seemed to enjoy it. Its convenient to the freeway and to Shopping and Food, making the room a nice place to come back to

We had some problems while planning our vacation and had to make a last minute change of dates. With one phone call the hotel worked things through for us and everything went well. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Sam is GREAT! Some confusion over the shuttle, but the day of our visit it was running. A great convenience for us. Rooms were clean, price was good (we bought the THF Package deal), and it was fairly quiet in spite of being right next to the highway. There's a walk-to restaurant right down the street.

Call the hotel to check the information on their website is correct. If you don't you might regret it. We did! We came to Dearborn to visit the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. The main reason we booked the hotel was because on their website it stated they had a shuttle running back and forth to the museum and village. They didn't. They claimed it was because of Covid, but Covid started two years ago and they hadn't bothered to update their website in 2 years? We didn't have a car so it made it difficult to get to the Museum/Village. I never would have booked it if I had known the shuttle wasn't running. Also, information about the restaurant was wrong. If was closed for lunch when the website stated it would be open. Worst, was our experience eating there. At check in we were given a $5 coupon for the restaurant. We did end up eating there for dinner. The food was mediocre. The waitress was mediocre. Despite this I was still planning to tip. But when I tried to use the $5 coupon the waitress said the "computer wouldn't accept it" for some reason. I said that wasn't my problem and she said in response it wasn't her problem! (well actually it was). That wasn't the correct response. She didn't get a tip. The room was okay and the people at the desk were fine.

We had a group of 40 senior adults. The Hotel was lovely, and the staff very friendly. They were able to put us all in one wing of the hotel. They even provided a conference room for us to gather for cards in the evening. The hot breakfast was good, and the Mugley's restaurant was convenient for dinner

Have stayed here before and will again. Can't put a price on the nostalgic environment. Please balance pool chemicals better, main elevator has been broken for last few visits. Would like to see bar/restaurant open more

We have always stayed at the Pink Princess Palace when we returned home to visit family. I don't know if it was the pandemic, or if it was just the fact that this place is in desperate need of renovations, but the rooms were dirty, the breakfast was disgusting, and the long term residents were rude and a bunch of bullies. Never staying here again!

Queen double bad Room The room next-door to me was very loud I could not sleep and had to be an important appointment in the morning but they were loud all night next-door and also since I was on the second floor right below my window in the parking lot a car alarm kept going off every hour on the hour for at least 10 minutes. My stay by far was very poor due to this and I wish I wouldn't of wasted my money I'm probably will choose another hotel for upcoming night I will be needing to stay due to the lack of nothing being done after I spoke with the person at the front desk several times

Immediately when I checked in my bill was $50 more then originally agreed, and the lady at the desk told me their prices had increased and that was the new price. Too bad, I'm not paying that. She spend several minutes "putting in codes" and magically got the price back down to what I agreed to pay. When we got to the elevator my husband and I both had a terrible feeling because the elevator REEKED of stale cigarette smoke. When we got to our floor it smelled like marijuana and it was obvious people were smoking in their rooms. By the way, the luggage carts were also absolutely filthy and stained, I've never seen anything like it. Our room was nice and large, and we liked the hard wood floors. My son dropped something behind one of the beds and when we moved it out OH MY GOD it was filthy. Gobs of hair, dirty tissues, dusk-it hadn't been moved and cleaned in at least 6 months. We also couldn't let him sit on the couch because it had what looked like blood stains on it. The courtyard area was nice, but when we went down there the gazebos were filthy and there were cigarette butts everywhere-seriously, my kid was trying to pick them up because he didn't know what they were. We ended up having to go in because of the cigarette butts. The restaurant was good for breakfast. For dinner service was slow-it took about half an hour for us to order a pizza to go and my son was starving. One of the waitresses had a terrible attitude and wouldn't even give me a menu without me asking, and then she threw it on our table and never came back to take our order so I had to go to the bar (the bartender was very nice and the breakfast staff were amazing!) For $350 I would expect at least a clean room, this place was an absolute dump. I felt bad having my son in that environment.

Clean. Great proximity to The Ford Museum and Deerfield. Wonderful breakfast. Restaurant good as well. Nice amenities. We have stayed here twice in the past year and both times we very much enjoyed our experience. Beds very comfortable as well.

I've been staying here for years and really enjoy the pool/jacuzzi/sauna which is open extended hours. Love the courtyard where you can relax and get some fresh air. Windows have screens and they open. Cute little pub with decent food. Great free breakfast buffet. Everything you need under one roof!

Very nice stay , need to improve the breakfast , and to fix the hot tub. Also they need to have meat on the weekends of the breakfast and they need to have the breakfast start at 6:00 a.m. on weekends not 7:00 a.m. they need to fix the treadmills in the gym and they also need to make sure that the hot tub is working soon

An older hotel but reasonably maintained. Pictures of old cars on the walls. A good hot breakfast in a restaurant-like setting. Pool is a good size (hot tub not working at the time). Reasonable distance from Ford Museum and Greenfield visit. Hotel sells discounted tickets to the Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Ask about it, and it may be a good deal for you, as it was for us. Recommend staying there -- we will if we go back.

Not a bad place to stay but it is getting long in the tooth; it needs a remodel. Décor is dated, dark wood is confining. The layout is a maze. A better option is build new at this location to better serve the guests.

This was my second stay at this great property. This time I brought my family. The third floor is the best for me were I heard no noise and slept soundly. The hotel has a great breakfast, pool, and dinner items on the menu of restaurant. This property is perfect location if I need to get into downtown Detroit only 15 min drive. It's close 9 min to Henry Ford Museum as well. The housekeeping staff is fantastic at keeping this hotel property clean for family and business.

I chose this hotel because of its location and price. While the rates were good and the staff was very helpful and accommodating, the rooms are outdated. Also, there is no independent HVAC adjustment in the room that could maintain a temperature the made me comfortable because it relies on central air ventilation that is either set to heat or air conditioning with a fan that cannot be adjusted if the temperature range falls outside of whichever option is engaged at that time. So my room was very hot instead of being comfortable.

Jessica at the front desk is amazing ! Hotel was very clean and the service was exceptional. If your in the area you must book this hotel. Don't chance staying anywhere else like we did as it was a huge FAIL...

Older motel but kept up nicely. Definitely in an industrial area but across the freeway from the shopping mall. Pool area was clean and but cold and pool was warm. Our biggest disappointment was the hot tub was not operational. The breakfast was ok for a continental, eggs, pancakes, tater tots and assorted fruits and yogurts.

We had a good night Sleep. Was a little load from kids after pool closed (10pm) but after that slept good. Hot tub was closed down. Large selection of fresh food at included breakfast buffet was definitely best. Coffee at buffet was also very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent our wedding night here back in the 70's. Lots of upgrades since then. Love this hotel, great staff. Rooms are very neat and presentable to the eye. Great parking. Love that it's pet friendly. If you need anything just ask the staff and they will help you.

We decided to stay at this hotel after our reservations at another were cancelled. I was pleasantly surprised by the great customer service and amenities. We hadn't travelled with toothbrushes and the employees didn't hesitate to offer us new toothbrushes and toothpaste.

Overall nice place to stay. Easy entrance/exit off I-94. Front desk, kitchen, and cleaning staff were very hospitable. Nice indoor pool and sauna room. Breakfast was full breakfast, but meat only on Mon thru Thurs.

This was, like others mentioned, like staying in a museum. The hallways have photos of old cars, older furniture and old time signs on the walls. The rooms are clean, but has an old feel with bathrooms that need updating. The bed was firm, but I always bring a mattress topper in case of that. The bed didn't have an extra blanket or comforter so it was chilly because we left the fan on due to the traffic noise. The staff is friendly. The main elevator was broken so we had a bit of a maze to find the other one. We were on the third floor. The traffic noise was a little loud due to the older windows and types of curtains. The air/heat was a wall unit with a loud fan, but it helped drown out the traffic noise. The room had a coffee maker in a cubby that was a little hard to reach to put the water. It also had a microwave a fridge with freezer. The shower had good hot water. The fan doesn't turn on in the bathroom, but it was dripping water and unfortunately, was right over the toilet so we had to use a cloth to catch the drips when you used the toilet. We did not try the breakfast as it was in their restaurant instead of a self-serve. They offer 24 hour coffee in the lobby and offer decaf which is nice in the evening.

I was pleasantly surprised with how clean and the attention to detail the room was. Very cosy and very nice. I loved the hot water as the motel I came from had no hot water. I had a wonderful breakfast and will definitely use Best Western on my next trip!

Overall, we felt the hotel was good. The hotel is old, the layout is confusing and not at all convenient. We had to walk the majority of the length of the hotel to get to the only working elevator (the broken one near lobby has apparently been that way for quite some time and no indication it is being fixed) to return to our room which was barely a few steps from the broken one). Signage is a bit confusing, but a simple map the staff provided was easy to follow. Room was clean and decently appointed. There was a decent couch for relaxing, coffee maker and acceptable shower - an exhaust fan would be great addition. Room included a breakfast buffet that was OK - barely. Price was very reasonable and the hotel was relatively convenient (once the maze that is MI road system is deciphered ) to The Henry Ford Museum. Chairs in lobby were ultra low and a bit more attention to keeping the bare floor in front of check in free of mud tracked in by guests would greatly improve first impression. Staff were friendly and overall we were quite satisfied.

Great stay as this was our first time in the area. Hotel is clean, secure and maintained. Staff are friendly and professional. Doing all they can to make your stay nice. Location was nice as we were only two miles from the Henry Ford, which was teh purpose of the trip.

We've come to this hotel every year for the past 5 years, and keep coming back. It's quant, maybe a tad outdated, but its reliable, with good service, clean rooms, and very close to a large shopping and restaurant area. As well as super close to get on and off the express way. Muggly's is always fun with good decent food and great priced drinks. Well worth the money and the stay!

We were in the Dearborn area to visit the Ford Rouge plant, the Henry Ford museum, and the Piquette museum, as well as attend a Redwings hockey game. This was a great location. We felt safe and we liked the on-site restaurant and lounge so we didn't have to go out in the evening if we didn't want to. The complimentary breakfast was good, and we ordered off the menu a couple evenings, as well as stopping in for drinks.

An old hotel many years past it's prime. The first room they gave us the door jammed and wouldn't open without great effort. They then oved us to a new room where the bed were terrible. The mattresses were old and very, very uncomfortable. Both rooms had a musty smell. also, none of the side doors going in and out of the hotel would lock even though you should have to use your key card to get in and out of the hotel. Obviously they don't take security seriously . On the good side the staff and breakfast were both great.

When securing lodging for business trips, sometimes you end up in some questionable locations. This trip, I landed in a definite win! Beyond the pink exterior, is everything you expect in a great location. I have no cons to associate with the facility and have identified where I intend on staying during future Detroit visits.

Was very clean and everyone was very helpful and friendly. There was quite a few families with children. Couldn't hear any of them when in our room. The pool and court yard were very well kept and had doggie bags for clean up throughout. Even our dog had a great time.

First off, a warning. They put us into a room without an air conditioner. I sleep hot and require a cool room. I had to ask to be moved. No big deal, just letting people know, The room was clean, and comfortable. The pillows were a little lumpy to me, but I know that pillows can be a very subjective topic. The free breakfast did feature scrambled eggs and sausages along with the usual stuff you usually see in free breakfasts at motels/hotels. I believe that the price of the rooms are fair. This is a big hotel, I got lost trying to find the free breakfast as our room was towards the rear of the property.

The night I got married 15 years ago I stayed here and came back to celebrate. The room was clean service was good and the suite was priced excellent. Enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was included but you had to pay for any Breakfast meat that u wanted never heard that before. But overall for the price was a good bargain.

This hotel is hard to miss. It's older for sure. The hallways are a dark maze of turns. Hard to find your way around this place. It's painted a gaudy pink. Yikes! However, the staff was welcoming and the food/bar were all acceptable. They have a nice courtyard with a gazebo. You can sit and chat and relax. I wouldn't venture out of the immediate hotel grounds. There are railroad tracks in back and a busy highway in front. It's amazing that sleep quality was good.

This room is overpriced for the condition of the room. The room lacked an exhaust fan in the bathroom, luggage racks, a workable remote, fresh paint, and an a decent rug. Pillows were lumpy. While the room is ideally situated to restaurants and the Henry Ford, try to find another location. These problems probably predate the Covid pandemic issues.

From the moment you see this Hotel from the freeway, to the moment you walk down the hallway to your room, it is like you step back in time to the 1920's and into style and elegance. The room has all the modern conveniences one would expect at a Best Western. It is well worth the trip and just a few miles away from downtown.

After I was given a key to a room I walked the mile of maze like halls to room 262 only to find that the key card didn't work. A mile back to the desk where I was given the correct room number. This room was on the first floor where everyone was walking by and sounded as if they were in the room with me. As a woman alone, and someone who like the blinds open to let in as much light as possible, I asked if they had a room on the second floor and they graciously moved me. The room was nothing special but had a refrigerator and microwave. It was also not very clean. Mirrors hadn't been cleaned and their was "something" spilled on the bathroom wall that also had not been cleaned. The dark carpet to "hide the dirt" made me wary of removing my shoes. Even the remote control was dirty. (Hello, anyone hear of Covid?) The toilet didn't flush properly but maintenance was sent right away. While the bed was comfortable, the pillows were a joke. They were small square pillows like you'd have on a sofa as opposed to reguar bed pillows. In addition to individual toiletries there were wall dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Only the conditioner had anything in it. Staff was all friendly and accomodating. There is a restaurant and bar on site but otherwise the hotel is very isolated to anything walkable. That isn't bad for people traveling by car but I came by bus with a group so what they have is all there was.

This Best Western is the worst one I ever have stayed at. Air conditioning is either on high,low or off. You set it and it never cycles when it reaches the desired temperature, also noisy as heck. The water control faucet for the bath tub didn't shift the water from tub to the shower head all the time. Next and really important is since outside our room there was a Gazebo and massive amounts of people would be there at all hours of the night load as hell talking and with music, and at one point people were trying to look into our window. You are lucky to get 4 hours a night sleeping. I am a Diamond Select Member at Best Western and truly believe that I deserve better and then this type of Quality from one of their establishments.

The outside is impressive, but the amenities are missing and poor. Didn't clean room for last day and didn't remove trash. Pool was closed and breakfast was skimpy and shortened. Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend.

My husband and I have been to this time multiple times over the past few years. This was our first not so great experience. First we have no shampoo or body wash in the dispensers.. when flushing our toilet the water ran for what seemed like an eternity. The biggest bummer was we weren't provided with a blanket nor comforter. Only a top sheet. Neither of us realized this when we went to bed, we go in pretty late and just went to sleep. We woke up frozen and basically wrapped up with one another so we had some warmth.. we spoke to a cleaning lady and she told us someone must have forgotten .. so that was a total bummer.

The motel was quiet, clean and close to our destination of the Henry Ford Museum. We took advantage of the "Couples Escape to Yesteryear Package" and saved $$ . It included 2 nights stay, 2 full service breakfast, and 2 tickets to both the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. The only bad thing to say was that the pool was closed due to a "chemical imbalance"?. Overall I would definitely recommend this motel as far as our experience.

The staff was nice and the hotel is beautiful. Family friendly and relaxing place to be. My kids enjoyed themselves. I got chance to enjoy the garden in the back and relax. My grandma was come from Texas. She enjoyed as well.

Our room facilities were typical Best Western except for the very limited bathroom counter space. No luggage stands were provided. WiFi was useless for minor video streaming (short Youtube videos). The surronding area seems mostly industrial. It does seem to have been renovated recently.

First of all, this is not a new hotel, so get over yourself if you're going to complain about the decor or the slightly musty smell. You want new? Stay elsewhere, and you'll likely pay a lot more. Someone mentioned the “maze-like” hallways: Please. Everything is well marked, including the entrances. We needed a hotel that would take our 70lb dog, and most BW's do. It was nice & quiet— even on the pet hall. There's plenty of grass, both around the perimeter and on the inside spaces to walk Fido. They have poop bags & pet trash cans, too. The bed was fine, linens including towels, were fresh. COVID rules mean they aren't cleaning daily, but staff was always happy to give us new Keurig pods or towels, & take away the trash. Be sure to leave them a tip before you leave! What I really liked was that this was clearly once a fabulous hotel for the auto industry. It shows in the old pictures and posters that line the walls. Formerly known as the Pink Palace, the salmon building is a hoot, and even if locals don't know anything about it, they know where you're staying when you say the pink hotel! In sum: This hotel is adorable and well-priced. The pool looked nice, and there are 3 outdoor gazebos for sitting around with family & friends. Is it the Ritz? No, but it's affordable, has microwave & fridge, and you will have a perfectly pleasant stay.

Our stay was great because the staff in the whole hotel were polite and friendly. Our only complaint was that the back road going out or coming back in was under construction and made the hotel only accessible by one direction. Our GPS always took us to a dead end roadblock. I finally figured out a way to get it to lead us to the only correct direction. Other than that our stay was enjoyable.

Old style room was weirdly put together, waste of extra space on window sill. Smelled old inside the room. No room to sit down at eat at a desk and the coffee was at the TV stand. shower did not drain. Pillows old and lumpy.

The Best Western Greenfield Inn, AKA The Pink Palace is indeed a unique place. It cannot be simply compared to other Best Western (or other) inns, because it is very different. First of all, it is PINK!! How many pink inns do you know?? In addition, it is a living museum!! You can spend hours on end simply strolling along the never ending corridors, looking at the impressive collection of old automobile pictures. Magnificent collection!! Having said the above, the hotel is comfortable, the rooms are large and nicely decorated and the service is professional and friendly. The inn is also strategically situated for the important tourist attractions in the area. Definitely a favourite with us!! Highly Recommended!! A True Hidden Gem!!

Rooms were relatively clean. Noticed bathroom floor could have been mopped better & carpet vacuumed better. Other than that room was just fine no real issues. Air conditioner worked great. Didn't notice much noise in hallways. Pool was fun. Enjoyed daily breakfast buffet. Staff was efficient & friendly.

Have stayed here at least once every other year for the last 20 years. Always a great stay. Hotel is close to tourist attractions and downtown. Lots of new restaurants and a rejuvenated area make for something new each time we visit.

They over charged my card $387 and then turned around and charged me $250 I still haven't received my money the customer service lady told me it was gonna be back on my card and it wasn't it been a week now. The hot water didn't work and the smoke detector was off the wall

We had not stayed at the Greenfield Inn for a number of years, so we were delighted to see the redecorating updates with new paint, carpet, hard-surface flooring, lighting fixtures and furniture. It still has that historic vibe thanks to the artwork collection of framed vintage autos in the hallways, natural woodwork and new wallpaper, but the updates give it a fresh new look. It's also pet-friendly, which is fantastic for travelers with furry companions. Our room was spacious, clean and close to the back exit for convenient potty trips outside to a grassy area. We stayed three nights while we visited family near-by. We so appreciate quality lodging that accommodates guests with pets, as traveling with a fur baby is not easy. Thank you, Greenfield Inn, for providing that option. We'll be back.

Wonderful stay I enjoyed it I like the hotel it was something different I never experienced that before I left the color the atmosphere everything turned out very nice the wife lie was good the best was clean I love the wood antique look of it felt good comfortable homie I felt like I was at home home away from home

We arrived late, found toilet clogged just before we went to bed. So much inconvenience for the whole night. Next morning, we reported the issue, a maintenance guy came quickly and told me it was fixed. When I used the toilet next time, it was still clogged.

Friendly check in but hotel is in need of an upgrade. Price was reasonable but room looked dated, the thermostat was pretty much hanging loose on the wall and did not work. Noisy at night with doors slamming until late. Would not return to this site.

It used to be a decent place to stay! Maybe people have changed and not the hotel! Many rude and obnoxious guests. Pool participants far exceeded current state guidelines. Many loud and vulgar people cursing around women and small children! Hopefully this is not the new "norm".

We stay at this hotel 5/6 times a year. It's always clean and staff is always friendly. Beds and pillows are always comfortable. Courtyard is very nice in the summer. Always wish I had more time to enjoy the pool and hot tub and sauna.

Excellent service and experience and friendly staff. Fun pool for kids and adults. Will continue coming back and having fun. Clean and comfortable stay. Five star hotel and would recommend with excellent prices on top of it all.

Take out food from restaurant available, hot breakfast take out available. Rooms okay. Noise was a problem and clerk asked if I wanted to move instead of either asking the problem makers to move or calling the police. I am sorry, I didn't cause the problem, I am just trying to get some rest, and instead, I have people yelling, screaming, slamming things around in a room next door to me with a room that had a door the ajoins the room so it is even louder. The police just dropped them off in the parking lot a few minutes prior and told them to get inside and stay there; luck had it, they were in the room next to me. Then they had to argue about who got who in trouble, etc, etc. I called the fron t desk twice to complain, and the first time, the clerk called their room and they did quiet down for about 5 minutes; then they started in again, even louder. Called the front desk again, and she asked if I wanted to move? I am sorry, no I am settled, I actually was just about to literally step in the shower, so nope, not moving. She called the room again and they quited down again and for about 30 minutes it was calm, then I call home to speak with my wife, and then they start in again, yelling, slamming things, doors, etc. Did I call, nope, didn't want to be asked if I wanted to move. They didn't do anything before, why would they this time?

It is in my home town and close to the air port. I grew up spending most of my New Years as a child Teepeeing the halls at 12:00 when the ball dropped. (they use to provide the toilet paper; one year they switched to confetti. It was a mess) They truly care about the guest and it is always a pleasure walking around the hotel looking at the artwork on the walls. I truly do love this hotel.

I booked here because the suites are so spacious and one room offers both a fireplace and whirlpool. On my last stay the fireplace didn't work and the shower drained slow, to the point of having roughly an inch to an inch and a half of water covering my feet (I have video for reference). The receptionist offered a discount when I called about the fireplace and although she sent maintenance up about the shower he couldn't fix it because it needed to be snaked. Showering was then not possible because who wants dirty water on their feet. My normal stays are usually pleasant but because I got this room specifically for the amenities, I was highly disappointed.

Located about 20 minutes from downtown Detroit. Plenty of parking and nice covered area to park for check-in/check-out (was important during our stay as it was raining heavily). Staff was friendly and helpful. All staff we observed were (properly) wearing face masks. Offers a different hot breakfast option each morning that can be ordered to-go. Room was a bit dated but fine for a 1-night stay. There was some sketchy activity in the parking lot outside our room window (around the back of our hotel).

This hotel is a biker stopover so be prepared for night time motorcycle noise. Parking lot is iffy - location is good but sandwiched between the freeway and a train line. Room on 3rd floor had a window 4 feet away from a wall, heat/AC unit did not work, old bath, skimpy toiletries, stained carpet, dark lighting, and a disgusting microwave. Chlorine smell from the sink water. There was a long nail sticking up at the bath threshold that I stepped on. The chair almost collapsed. The made to order breakfast was good and the hotel staff was fine. I messed up and believed too many of the good reviews.

This is the first time that I've stayed here and was slightly displeased. One of the pillows was dirty and I didn't realize until my last day that the bed's backboard was dirty with white spots on it. I can only imagine what that may have been. Please the certain to sanitize your rooms for the next guest. Also, one of the front desk attendant whom name I failed to obtain had a bit of an attitude.Latrice is her name . There were two people. Therefore, two lines as far as I was concerned. A guy was standing in the other line when i walked up to her line. She happen to complete her business with the guest in front of me first before her colleague finished with her guest where the guy was waiting. I stepped up to check in and she interrupted me by pointing the the guy in the other line as being there first. Not a problem. The tone in which she spoke to me was off putting but instead of making a scene I cooperated. Not sure if she intended to sign a bit rude but it came off that way nevertheless....LATRICE SHOULD NOT BE AT NO ONES FRONT DESK

Staff was very friendly. The hallways had a musty smell. Our room had a towel hanging that was dirty and the bathroom fixtures were dirty and disgusting! The money we paid for our room was not worth it. They offered their free breakfast in the restaurant which was good. Our waitress was very nice.

the hotel is little diffcult to get to,with maze halls inside. the elevator not working most of the time. the soda/water machine didnot working on two floors. and it took my money . I did received soda from the front desk.

Internet doesn't work, you have to go and get all the things that should be standard in the room, like towels, shampoo, body wash, cofffee, cream, sugar, utensils & soap. Can't change the room temperature, it's either hot as hell or freezing cold...look somewhere else!

Classic place, like a museum great staff, great restaurant . The staff is generally very friendly and there is a great pool and spa area. It is nice to simply walk the halls and look at all the pictures of Detroit's automotive history.

It was amazing and great good customer service and very clean room loved it. The swimming pool was big and nice so was the hot tub. Treated well by the staff and the breakfast is very good in the morning

We had a lovely time. The Staff was very helpful. The facility was very clean. We enjoyed a FULL hot breakfast buffet. Check In/Out went quick. We will stay here again if we are needing a hotel and are in that area.

Great decor throughout, but short staff for both breakfast and in the restaurant which caused some frustrations, stained carpet in room, dusty, cobwebs covered lights, broken bed that was so noisy ... and of course you don't realize that until you lay down to use it at 11:00 at night.

Greatest hotel hands down, you'd never be disappointed, from the service the stay, and comfortability altogether at best western.. Its definitely my go to outside of home and the normal life circumstances..

This was our second visit. We like the location because it's near so many attractions. It's a short Uber ride to downtown Detroit. The hotel is clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. I'm confident that we'll be back.

Is this under new management? I've stayed here several times before. This time was disappointing. We had a pet friendly room. Dark and dreary. My dogs started marking as soon as they got in, undoubtably there was urine in the carpet as my dogs never mess in the house. The beige/grey carpet hid the stains I suppose, but it still looked dirty. I made sure not to leave anything sitting on the floor. I would highly recommend they remove the carpet and put vinyl flooring down that is easy to clean. The beds were okay thou soft but I did like the pillows. Our purpose for stay was to give my granddaughter a little break and use the pool. Unfortunately the pool presented a real problem. The entire area is covered in some gravel type drainage floor. It's nearly impossible to walk on with bare feet. In addition the floor of the pool is rough as well. My granddaughter came out with skinned toe pads. On both feet. Two of which were bleeding. Not sure if it was from the pool or the flooring outside the pool. I myself had skinned the top of my foot and two toes from the pool. In addition the pool area was not warm enough. We shivered in the pool. That all being said, we slept well, good access outside for the dogs, soundproof rooms, friendly staff and a decent breakfast buffet. We will probably return again but we will have good water shoes and probably not bring our dogs.

Room was nasty the bed had red stuff on it and there was a pair of dirty underwear left in the room. I have never had to deal with this and when i called the staff no one came to change ,y bedding which was nasty.

Very clean, Staff very polite, Breakfast was excellent, we ate in restaurant. Easy access.Rooms were very clean and large, had handicapped room, no chair for the shower, that was only issue. Will stay there again when in the area

The location of the hotel is excellent with easy access to DTW airport. The staff is friendly amd helpful. As a car hobby guy I enjoyed the decor of the interior amd the artwork with its nod to being the Motor City. The restaurant lounge area was homey and the food and service was good. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The shuttle service was great, the front desk held my bags while I visited the Henry Ford Museum and picked me up with my bags when it was time to go the airport.

There was an unruly guest causing problems for my group which the staff couldn't handle, first she was drunk almost naked in the pool area near small children later the same lady chased and tried to attack me while hotel staff did nothing. Another member of my group pushed the lady away from me as my daughter begged at the front desk for security the police were called and we were kicked out after the lady was arrested. We did nothing wrong and all of our attempts to get staff to intervene were ignored.

Everything was wonderful. The staff and the rooms were great; I would go back there for business or pleasure. It was a good location; love the coffee maker in the room. The pool area was clean and the food in Mugly's was amazing to say the least. I had numerous of questions and each staff answered without any issues.

I booked this place because the price was right, it had a free airport shuttle and buffet breakfast, and was reasonably close to the city so taking an Uber wouldn't break the bank. The facilities are definitely dated and could use a refresh (especially the restaurant), and the breakfast wasn't anything to write home about, but the room was comfortable enough and relatively quiet, and I had a fine stay.

Wonderful place to stay! We have been going to this hotel for over a year when we travel to Michigan to see family. My parents also stay at this hotel when they travel to Michigan. We will definitely be staying there again!

A very old antique hotel with clean rooms and dated heat and air conditioning. This hotel does not offer in room heating an air ondemand.. If you come during winter you only get heat. Our room was at 75° and was told I could get a fan or open the window. Pool ladders are rusted and one is broken in which the fixed by wrapping caution tape around a chair next to the ladder. The pool was so over chlorinated it was burning face and eyes and lips. I am sure the levels of chlorine was off the charts. The sauna was broken and looked like it may have worked 20 years ago. Front desk and mataince staff did not seem to care. Very poorly run maintenance of the pool and hot tub. I can't believe that the hotel management would allow this pool fall apart. The front desk staff where not very nice or seem to care about any concerns that one would have about water burning people's eyes ,lips and mouths. This must be the norm. The best and hardest workers are the servers in the restaurant!!

I have stayed at this Hotel multiple time over the years. My sister and family live here in Detroit. I have visited for Holidays, Birthdays, Weddings and just because of missing them. And every time I stay here at Best Western Greenfield Inn. Because All of the staff at the Hotel from the front desk, maids, restaurant and bar is always very helpful and very courteous in taking care of any questions or even the occasional problem. the staff take care of everything very professionally. Thanks for always being so attentive.

Other than the pink color on the outside and the rooms were too hot with no ac option you had to open the windows Location was excellent t easy on and off and they put all os us together which was also great

This hotel was extremely adequate for myself and my 4 children. The suite had plenty of comfortable sleeping space so no one was on the floor. The pool area was big and clean, with plenty of space for all guests to enjoy without being too crowded amongst strangers. The buffet breakfast that is included was more than sufficient, offering plenty of choices for our family, some of whom have special dietary needs.

We always enjoy our stay at this Hotel. It's decorated with lots of history of Detroit and the Automobile Industry. Very close to the Ford Museum. Great place to stay if you're flying out of the Detroit Metro Airport and the Shuttle Service they provide is excellent. Also has a great restaurant, pool and exercise area. Our go to spot when staying in Detroit.

Found motel, to be clean, comfortable, and very reasonable given the other local hotels in area. Safe and secure, and the staff was very pleasant. Room service from the onsite restaurant, Mugslys had good food at a fair price with good size proportions.

We have travelled to Detroit for the past 3 years and have only stayed at "The Pink Palace". We like the location, that they have Mugly's Lounge in the hotel available for eating and socializing, a nice sized pool, jacuzzi and sauna, along with a fitness center. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms have always been comfortable, home like and clean. Great place to stay!!!

We have stayed at the Best Western Greenfield Inn several times over the past year. Most recently we stayed November 10, 2019. Each stay has been great! The staff, hotel, lounge, room all meet our expectations. The staff always goes out of their way to make sure we are comfortable. they have a great crew!

Overall the experience wasn't great. My biggest concern as the bar of chlorine my child found at the bottom of the pool. Many children were coughing, choking g, having trouble breathing and the hotel staff were not interested in hearing about our concerns.

Our stay at the "Pink Palace" was great! Staff very nice and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Though we had two full size beds, not queen size. I would have reserved a room with a larger bed had I known. The pool and hot tub area very nice. I didn't have time to use the sauna! Included breakfast was good.

We had service done to our room. That night when my husband went to bed he pulled back the sheets and a huge brown stain was on the sheets. There is no way no one wouldn't see this. Very disgusting!!!

Check in and check out was easy. Shuttle to the museums was great. friendly staff! Really enjoyed the restaurant where we we given breakfast coupons with our family package. The hotel is older but really clean, with helpful staff. The kids loved the big indoor pool. We had a great mini vacation

Good location, nice staff, free breakfast, free coffee, great restaurant and a comfortable lounge. What else could you ask for? I've stayed here every year for the last 8 years. I've only had a couple times that I've not stayed at this hotel as it's the best deal as far as value and quality are concerned.

We spent 3 nights at the Greenfield Best Western While visiting The Henry Ford Museum. The location was perfect. Hotel was clean, staff very accommodating and respectful. Rooms well appointed and very clean for a very busy hotel. They have a free shuttle service to the museum locations which was perfect. Buffet breakfast was adequate. Mugly restaurant in the hotel was very good - large portions, good price point. There is a shopping center very close with many other dining options. Wonderful hotel at a very reasonable price.

I had to be in town for a funeral and this looked like an affordable, safe option. It was so much more than that! The hotel is just beautiful, inside and out. My room was spacious and the decor was so inviting and classic looking. The staff, specifically Shannon, went over and above to make sure my stay was the best it could be. It was convenient to the highway but without the traffic noise of some hotels. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. You will be so glad you stayed here!

Great place to stay if you wish to visit the Henry Ford. They run a shuttle to the museum and also to the airport? (didn't use that) Parking @ Henry Ford is $6 so this is a savings. The breakfast is better than most. Pool (large, beautiful, with colored lights), Jacuzzi, and sauna. Beautiful decor, on-site restaurant/lounge. We had a drink in the lounge (50% off coupons are given @ check-in) but didn't eat dinner there.

Love the pool and hot tub and breakfast. THe staff were all friendly. The upgrades were excellent and the beds comfortable This place has been part of our family lives for at least thirty years Hope we have many more

The hotel is clean with friendly staff. Mugly's the restaurant, has great pizza. We also received free admission tickets to the Henry Ford Musuem and Greenfield Village. Well worth the visit. The indoor pool and hot tub were refreshing.

The hotel looks great on the outside. As you walk through the halls all the walls are decorated with pictures of cars, so if you your a lover for old classic cars this hotel is for you. The pool area is great it has a hot tub and sauna. The bar/restaurant is also great prices are very good and the food is awesome.

Our family had to travel for an emergency. We have never been to the area and was very pleased with our stay. It was very clean, comfortable and a great value. The location was very convenient to travel into downtown Detroit to the hospital. The restuarant was great...so nice not to have to go and find a place to eat before or after being out all day. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Thank you for a great experience during a trying time.

I stayed two nights at this hotel. The staff was friendly and check-in was quick. The room was nice and clean. It looked like it may have been renovated not too long ago. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. The hallways were quiet. I never heard any of the guests walking in the hallways. The bathroom is huge with a walk-in shower. There was a small refrigerator in the room which was useful. The decor in the hallways is pictures of antique cars. They were interesting to look at. We took advantage of the breakfast that was offered by the hotel. There were eggs, sausage, ham, pancakes, bagels, toast, muffins, and cereal. Everything was kept full and ready to serve. The staff cleaned the tables as soon as they were vacated.

Nice and helpful staff in the restaurant. Check-in staff person was friendly. Hotel was clean. Sleep conditions good. Hot and cold water switch was backwards. Hotel was quiet even though it was full!!!!

I had stayed here many years ago while in Dearborn on business, and reserved again for a vacation trip with my wife. As my review title says, I now find the property to be a bit "tired". Our room was OK and quiet, but needed some updating and general fix-it items. Breakfast was adequate at best, and the room a bit nicked up and again needing maintenance. The biggest problem that the elevator towards the front of the building broke down. When mentioning this at checkout the desk clerk did not even know it was broken, and didn't seem all that interested. On the plus side, we did use their complementary shuttle over to the Henry Ford museum, and that worked out quite well. But if we return to Dearborn, will be staying elsewhere.

The Best Western Greenfield Inn is conveniently located within a short drive of Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum. The beds and the multiple pillows were comfy, as was the temperature of the shower water, but the shower head, which couldn't be adjusted, offered just a bit more water than a trickle. The walk-in shower was very large. The “included” breakfast offered, for example, cold eggs, cold ham, cold sausages, and cold pancakes. We were prepared for this the second day and placed our food on paper plates, so that we could microwave the food to the proper temperature when we returned to our room. At around 7:25 on the first of the two mornings of our stay, we informed the hostess (?) that the two containers of strawberry pancake syrup and the one of blackberry pancake syrup were empty. She responded that she would let the appropriate person know, and she offered no apology. The next morning, the empty containers were in the same place, with one additional container that appeared to be full of strawberry pancake syrup. There was much noise in the hallway outside of our room on the second evening, such as extremely loud voices and door slamming. The later that it got, the louder the noises became. Despite three calls to the front desk, the last at around 11:30 p.m., nothing was done about the noise. Except for the convenient location, nothing would entice us to return to the Best Western Greenfield Inn.

Stayed a week at the Best Western in Allen Park. The location is excellent, easy access to I-75 and I-94. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bathroom was clean too. Even though we were near the expressway, hardly any noise. The motel has an auto/Motown theme, which is perfect for the area. Breakfast had lots of selection, and good coffee. Motown music is played on the ground floor. However, there are a few things that kept us from giving them an excellent rating. There is a restaurant within the hotel (this also doubles as the breakfast area). Not sure if the restaurant is managed by the hotel, or is separate. However, the service was very poor, probably because the restaurant is understaffed. The bar person is expected to wait tables and serve the bar, and the bar person does not pay attention to the tables. Had to wait 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to get served. Also, there is a shuttle to the airport, but our friend, who needed to leave at 6:30 am, was told that the shuttle didn't start until 7:00 am. This schedule should be posted at the front desk. If it is posted,it's not very visible. People have early flights, I don't understand why shuttle service is not available until 7:00.

Close to the freeways...handy on & off...good rooms, easy parking and GREAT food on sight! Nice facilities...good pool and laundry is handy! Wonderful staff, including the waitstaff. Great facilities..parking is plentiful,

It was clean people were nice food was great room was big and clean We happened to have a room with queen size beds which is ok but we like kink size beds better we liked that we saw people scrubbing the walls in the hotel and not just goofing off

Don't judge the horrible pink exterior on arrival. This hotel has some cool automobile and historical artwork hanging inside. The rooms are kind of colonial and have a refrigerator, microwave, and keurig coffee pot. They also have pet-friendly rooms and areas to relax. The gazebo/garden area has 3 gazebos to sit in with tables, chairs and an outdoor grill you can use. The pool was clean, just the right temp., and had a decent fitness room just off of it. The sauna and hot tub were more "very warm" than hot, but still felt good after a busy day. We visited during the week and had the pool area mostly to ourselves. The area is a bit shady looking, but we mostly felt safe. Just be aware of your surroundings as NONE of the locks to the outdoor access were working, although there was a sign that said a key was needed to enter. Also, in our hall, there was 1 spot that was supposed to have a smoke detector, but the detector was missing. We had the complimentary breakfast that came with our stay, and the food was good. The staff did a nice job of keeping things stocked and clean. I would stay there again, but would hope that they get the locks and smoke detectors working (there were smoke detectors in our room, as well). On request, you can also take the bus shuttle to Greenfield Village. We drove, and it was a very easy trip to the village.

I stayed here for eight nights. It was one of the better hotels I have stayed at!! All the front desk staff & the shuttle drivers were friendly. I took the hotel shuttle to and from the airport as well as to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. It was always on time when requested. It is very nice that they have a shuttle! Nice to have an on-site restaurant also. It is open until 10 pm. Got in at 8 p.m. and was able to get some dinner at the hotel the turkey burger was very good. Nice breakfast buffet every morning at the restaurant scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, pancakes, toast, donut holes, cereals, juices, coffee, tea, bananas and apples. Comfortable bed and good size room. Left a note for the maid that I only wanted towels and she made up the whole room! Would stay there again for sure!!

I have stayed at this Best Western twice and would stay again. The hotel is very clean throughout, and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is far superior to that of most hotels and is served in the restaurant on site. They have a free shuttle to Greenfield Village and The Henry Ford Museum.

Exterior of the building was very dirty. Rooms were ok. Bar tender was negative and obnoxious. Food was good. It had good reviews, but in my opinion, it was average. We travel to MI a lot to see family but don't plan to stay here again. They do need a renovation.

Overall our stay at this hotel to visit the Deerborn attractions was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the complementary breakfast was good. The restaurant inside the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. The hotel was able to provide transportation to and from local attractions which was nice to avoid parking Etc. The two complaints I had during the visit were people in the parking lot playing very loud music all night long while drinking and partying. This made it difficult to sleep at times. Several calls were made to the front desk however the noise continued. The other complaint was that the very large hot tub / jacuzzi did not have working jets during our visit. The hotel needs to consider some type of nighttime security to keep the parking lot free of riffraff who I assume we're not registered guests.

Business trip: Pink Palace is a pretty unique building! The decor and photographs are interesting of a more gentile past time. Check in staff are welcoming and very friendly. My arrival @7pm and my key cards, sign-in and room were ready. My room was super clean and fresh. Sheets were crispy white and soft. Pillows were square with a selection of fluffy and firm. Carpeting spotless. The housekeeping was impeccable. I travel weekly-so when I say my room was clean-it was CLEAN!!! Lights and electronics all in working order. The bathroom was spotless. My room had New clean towels and cloths without a bleach smell. Very fresh! The hotel is quiet and sound buffered. So ‘quick' sleeping to get on the rod again is refreshing. Housekeeping visits-perfection! 2 days later-Check out@ 4am: Shannon was prompt and efficient as well as friendly and welcoming a return visit. I would visit again!

I stayed at BW in Greenfield after flying into Detroit for business in a terrible storm, I needed to drive to my already booked 5 star brand name hotel, the storm was just too intense , rain and wind , couldn't even see the road , I stopped at this BW , it was not where I usually would stay , the staff was extremely friendly the rooms very clean..... better that some 5 star locations. Thank you for your smiles !

Nice hotel near The Henry Ford Museum. We choose to do a couples weekend in Detroit and see The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. We took advantage of the couples package that got us into two of the three activities of The Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village or the River Rouge plant tour (which was closed that weekend). It also included two complimentary breakfasts for the two of us at the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast was ok, I probably would've chosen the complimentary breakfast for Best Western, as we only had four selections to choose from. Maybe they could make the complimentary meal for any meal at the restaurant. We did use room service which was good. It came within the time frame they gave me and it was still hot as our room wasn't close to the restaurant. There was also a shuttle to and from the hotel to The Henry Ford Museum so you didn't have to pay for parking. Overall a great hotel and one I would choose again for another trip to Detroit.

My wife and I stayed here as part of our road trip across America. The property was good, the room was good and has just about everything you need. Breakfast in the restaurant was good and value for money.

Reservation for Business, very pleasantly surprised. Staff are friendly and efficient. The Hotel room was clean and fresh smelling. New towels noted since last visit. Check out was easy and Latreice (?) was amazing, happy/cheerful and so nice. Will visit again!

Reserved a room for a girls night and picked a hotel with a hot tub and pool so we could relax. I didn't think to contact the hotel to make sure it was in service. The pool was lovely, but when we looked in to see it, we saw caution tape around the hot tub. When we went to ask the front desk they let us know it had been broken for 4 or so days. Later when we went to the pool, the caution tape was gone, and people were in the hot tub, but the jets were broken. It was just a big tub of warm water and it was quite dirty with a film of oil across the top of the water. So if you are looking forward to a hot tub, just contact them first to see if they have fixed it yet. Sept 1st it was broken. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was lacklustre. Typical hotel breakfast. The hot items (meat, pancakes, eggs) were lukewarm. The coffee was pretty ok though and my friend was very happy with the oatmeal. The pool was nice, and at 7am, we had it all to ourselves which was great. Room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable. The Pink Palace Punch at the bar was tasty.

Staff very nice. Room was clean. Good water pressure and hot water. My only complaint is the place is a maize. We were on second floor and and opposite end from entrance. Hotel has been added on to over the years. Never could get my bearings entirely

I wouldn't make a second visit to this property. It was clean but needs updating. The food was another issue. Awful breakfast and dinner was like frozen product. Staff was very accommodating. Hopefully they will take note of this review and make changes.

I enjoyed my stay at the best western. People were kind and it was clean I used the pool and steam room. Had dinner one night and it was very good. The ice machine worked well and everything was clean.

I love when employees smile and are ready to help. There will always be something but when the staff is willing, ready to help and SMILING, it makes a big difference. Restaurant/Lounge is a big plus especially if you are tired and do not want to leave the Hotel. Breakfast is equally good and has enough options.

We stayed here for one night as we were on a tour. AKA the pink palace! Located south of Detroit between the freeway and the railroad, not that we noticed any noise. Two pools - one indoor and one outdoor. Rooms were comfortable. Free coffee in the lobby. There was a free breakfast buffet which was ok and you can order off a menu if you want to pay. The pub served good sized portions and the service in there was great - the girl was serving at the bar and bussing tables too. The service everywhere was very friendly. You really would need to eat at the hotel at it is quite isolated.

My stay here was better than my stay at a 5 star hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, a microwave and coffee in the room. The swimming pool was great for families with kids. The front lobby was very nice, and this is a historic hotel. I enjoyed my stay.

I come here at least once a year, just as a little get away. I always enjoy my stay. I was a bit disappointed to see the modern lobby in the very traditional hotel. But the staff is friendly and the rooms are adequate. This time my bed was very uncomfortable. I felt like I was going to roll off. We were in an oversized room, number 365. If you're a senior, warning, the toilet is very low. But the room was large and clean and comfortable with a coffeemaker fridge and microwave. Other than that the hotel is very nice and comfortable. My biggest complaint was this. When we went to dinner at the restaurant, my granddaughter spied a full plate of mini doughnuts in the buffet area. Doughnut are Like you'd buy in the grocery store. She'd had them for breakfast the last time she stayed, and asked if she could have one or two. I was quite surprised when the hostess said NO! I would have gladly paid. My granddaughter was so disappointed. When we went to the restroom, that same hostess glared at us, as if we were going to steal a doughnut under her watchful eye. If she were smart she could have directed us to the little shop where they sold sweets...or even better gave her a doughnut or two. Also, be advised of the times for the free continental breakfast. We came down about a quarter to 10 and it was closed. A bit left. But the eggs were cold. Yes I'm sure I'll come back. Because it's close to my home in Dearborn, and it has a nice pool. Regarding the pool. Be sure to wear flip flops or water shoes. All of the pool area is “paved” with tiny stones, and it's extremely hard on your feet. I couldn't walk on it bare foot.

Good not get the tap for the shower to work. Service showed up and showed us how to turn on. Should have a sign. Tap was not normal. Didn't want to pull to hard and break tap. AC was very noisy, and wifi very poor signal

We were extremely pleased with our stay at "the Pink Palace." It was conveniently located right off the interstate and offered very good rates. All of the staff -from the ladies at the front desk to the housekeepers and shuttle van drivers, were very friendly and offered exceptional service. The facilities was very clean. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffets in the attached restaurant. We also took advantage of the complimentary shuttle service to and from The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to the Dearborn area.

The rooms were clean. Only comaint would ve thst they felt humid. Had to keep air down low to keep humidity at bay. Shuttle service to Henry Ford Museum was free and was very convenient to use. Drivers were polite. Very nice pool and hot tub.

The rooms are large and comfortable. The decor is colonial. They have every picture or drawing of old automobile memoranda that exists on the hall walls. The pool is nice but needs a dress code as two women had their buttocks uncovered.

I liked the old school feel of the hotel and everyone was pleasant and hospitable. The room was clean and everything I needed was provided. Loved the bar!! It was in a nice location close to the Ford Museum. Also, the desk clerks were great at recommending restaurants in the area, Olga's was excellent!

Large rooms, comfortable beds, great tv and a microwave in the room. Long corridors on 3 floors, you have to remember the route you take to get round. Great selection of pictures of car models and many scale models give this motor city hotel a great theme. Reception staff so friendly and helpful. Recommended unreservedly

Spent a couple of very pleasant days here. The staff are very efficient and friendly. Melissa at the front desk made us feel really welcome. We had a very nice room and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was somewhat average and perhaps because they were so busy they tended to run out of things. The servers were great. As for the restaurant, some items were disappointing. Didn't care for the breaded and fried chicken wings. The hamburger and quesadillas were excellent. Overall could have a more interesting menu. The hotel is somewhat old and quaint but that is part of its charm. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Enjoyed sitting in the gazebos and having my morning tea. Would definitely stay there if I am in Detroit again. Should mention that I really enjoyed Detroit and hope to visit again soon.

I was visiting the area for work and needed something between Madison Heights and Southgate, but close enough to the airport for my very early flight out. This Best Western fit the bill. It was priced right too. I had a room with double beds and a small frig. It was a spacious room, very clean and the beds were comfortable and there was no shortage of comfortable pillows on each bed. The only problem I had was the table in the room did not have any chairs so I had to drag over the short lounge chair and put pillows on the seat so I could work at the table. There was a nice continental breakfast which included hot foods. The restaurant in the hotel was very convenient for dining in. The women at the front desk were all friendly and accommodating. Overall it was a good experience and I would stay here again.

Don't allow the ' interesting' exterior color or dark interior paneling put you off going any further. You will miss one of THE best places to stay in the Metro Detroit area. Staff is OUTSTANDING, rooms are immaculately clean and spacious, and the hotel bar has one of the best pizzas We've had. We encourage you to give it a try.

Being conveniently located close to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, we stayed here for a single night on our recent vacation. The pink color of the exterior was interesting and the hotel itself was probably once a showplace, although it seemed a bit dated. The staff was fairly efficient, although not especially friendly. Nevertheless, our room was fairly large, clean, quiet and comfortable. The free breakfast in the morning was a big plus. I would certainly consider staying here again if we ever visit this area again.

Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk, a very nice restaurant with exceptional staff. Rooms are comfortable, quiet, and clean. It is an older hotel with a unique look, but we enjoy it. Whenever we are in the area, this is our hotel of choice.

Great accomodations for the price, the complimentary breakfast was good. It was a nice variety to choose from. The room was clean. The room has a Kurig coffee maker which was perfect. My children enjoyed swimming at the indoor pool. We met some nice guests from other states.

I loved this place, everyone was so friendly, bar and food prices were good. Nothing was too much trouble, on our tour this was definitely one of my favourite places. You definitely deserve your ratings

We had a great stay at the Best Western. We decided to arrive a day early and the Best Western was very accommodating. The staff very friendly. We had a little plumbing problem and they fixed it immediately. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely return.

Resembling a Barbie House - the Greenfield echoes this sentiment inside as well. From bed ends to chairs and teeny tiny showers. A maze of corridors - make sure you remember your room number. Our room had one comfortable bed - one ... not so. The walls have interesting memorabilia and photos relating to vehicles. The fourth star is awarded on amenities Indoor swimming pool and spa Laundry $1.75 for washing. $1.75 for a drier (if you haven't been saving your quarters the lobby keeps plenty) Lovely included breakfast Soda machines and ice on each area Little shop by the lobby Extra supplies for anything you have left behind ATM machine on site Restaurant on site .... and just a short drive to the Henry Ford Museum!

One of the best places we have stayed at. Wonderful Food, Service , Hospitality, Our Rooms, Close to The Ford Museum and Rouge Factory...Very Convenient area! We were on a Tour Bus Trip to Mackinac Island. This is our second trip the and to this hotel. I highly recommend it as a Great Hotel and Staff.

Beds were comfy room was clean free breakfast very good. The small things needed attention, no key for the safe, guide on the cable TV didn't work, outside door lock key cards not working doors left open 24/7 .

This hotel is a nice hotel for the value price. It is a little dated, but clean. It is close to The Henry Ford and interstate. Would recommend if you are looking for a hotel with character at a great price.

We looked for a place to stay close to Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. This hotel included a vacation package with tickets to 2 of 3 attractions and free breakfast. The packages are for 2 or 4 people. I called because we were a party of 3. The manager said we could purchase the 2 person package and purchase an additional voucher and breakfast ticket. The whole thing worked out to be a little less than getting a less expensive room rate and purchasing museum tickets ourselves. The hotel itself is very clean with an exercise room, guest laundry, large pool and hot tub area, and outside seating areas. The gardens are overgrown and dying but the area is nice to enjoy the outside and the area is enclosed. Our room included a Keurig coffee maker, small frig, and hair dryer. The room and bath were very clean but the decor, illustrative of much of the hotel was old, beat up furniture apparently trying to look antique. The beds sounded like they were on rusty spring bases and the mattresses were lumpy and hard. The pillows were the same. The triple sheeting covers were too light and we had to request extra blankets from the front desk. The blackout curtains were great! There was tv noise coming through the electrical socket from the room next door. Luckily they shut that off and we heard little noise until the next morning. People arise early here to make the 6-9 a.m. breakfast. Add in the early staff and the noise from the hallway begins early. But it was right by the highway and there was little noise from that. Some of the suites were being remodeled. The staff except for one desk clerk were very nice, helpful, and professional. They decided not to charge for our disabled son so that was a plus! It seemed any request we had, they were able to accommodate. I don't know if we would stay again just because of the beds. We didn't sleep much. But all the rest is very nice and so are the staff. The breakfast buffet was terrible but the western omelet was huge and really good.

This is a nice place to stay. I will say it is interesting to see a pinkish color hotel attached to a restaurant. The place was clean the breakfast was good. This is also close to downtown Detroit but far enough that you do not fell like you are in the City.

My fiance and I decided to stay here the night before and night of our wedding to avoid high cost and high traffic downtown hotels. This place was super cute and very clean and quiet, just what we dreamed of.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at BW Greenfield Inn (aka Pink Palace) and it's close proximity to Henry Ford Museum and attractions. Rooms were very clean, staff was attentive and gazebo grounds were beautiful. Also enjoyed Mugly's, the food was great, open late, and we were pleasantly surprised with daily 50% off drink coupons (1st drink only) during our stay. A+

Stayed for four nights in a recent visit to the Henry Ford Museum. As others have said the hotel is a bit dated but is clean and comfortable. Rooms have the usual amenities including a wall safe (key can be obtained from reception). Breakfast has a reasonable number of options but could do better - more choice of fruit (only some very ripe bananas provided, some variety of cooked meats (perhaps bacon occasionally - only turkey sausage and some ham offered for 4 days straight) etc. Small changes that can make a difference. Staff friendly and helpful. Would certainly use again

Pros: Room was clean, and furnishings of nice design and in good condition. Luggage 'bench' big enough for two suitcases!! Three floors of beautiful automobile-related artwork--a true art gallery in the hallways. Expansive pool/hot tub area (Indoor) Blanket on the bed--no bulky duvet Mattress on the soft side--some might like that Dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, bath gel. Sink was inside bathroom. Tub was low-sided, so easy to step in/out. Mugly's Restaurant--on site. GREAT food, moderately priced Cons: Moderately loud traffic noise for the outer rooms Black-out curtains a tad too short to block highway lights Loud heater Breakfast buffet ends at 9:00 a.m. Bathroom is small--door barely clears toilet.

Very affordable and comfortable. Nice staff who are very helpful. Rooms are nice and the free breakfast was better than expected. It is our go to motel when we visit the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.

What a wonderful place to stay while visiting all the Henry Ford and Greenfield Village attractions. With the free breakfast and complimentary shuttle services to Henry Ford and airport, made it a great choice.

Don't judge the outward appearance of this hotel. The staff was great kind and courteous, the rooms were clean and quite. Never have anything bad to say about my stays at this Best Western hotel. This time however through no fault of the people or the hotel, there was a power outage just before we checked out, no problem it only lasted a minute or two, then was told by the front desk that they would email me a receipt when their system came back up, that was 2 days ago. Once I get my receipt I'll repost my review

It's a typical high volume motel. A little old fashioned but clean and comfortable with a good breakfast being available. It's good for travellers with a vehicle but a bit isolated otherwise with a cross country walk of 30 mins to the local mall. Sure it's not 5 star, but it does not pretend to be that. For what it is it's excellent and in its category I will give it top marks

Hotel is very well kept, rooms have always been clean. Restaurant has delicious food and awesome complimentary breakfast. It is pet friendly, has pool, sauna, fitness room, hot tub. Outside area with gazebos and fountains. If you walk around the hotel unique old pieces of furniture found around the hotel. Has a neat rotunda room.

This is a huge hotel, it is pink and stands out next to the highway. The staff is friendly and helpful making our stay enjoyable. They offer free shuttle service to The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield town, as well as the airport. The rooms are large and kept clean as well as the entire premises; the security is impressive as they lock the second entrance at night and have many video cameras watching the property, Always had warm welcoming cookies and beverages when we returned to the front desk. Large swimming pool and exercise room. Only suggestion is the breakfast each day was the same and just ok in my opinion. Scrambled eggs, salty sausage links, ham in water, silver dollar pancakes bread, English muffins, huge bowl of butter for the bread and butter Oatmeal cereal coffee and juice, yogurts.. But no changes same each day, very boring, No bagels, cream cheese or any other variety. It was a satisfactory breakfast just not up to other Best Westerns I had visited. Overall I will return as the staff and the hotel made it great.

Stayed as part of a couples get away . Mary in the lounge was outstanding ..pleasant and conversational. The breakfast was great with lots of options. Staff at the pool was great ..helpful and pleasant

Wife and I stayed just one night for Martian races and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in top shape, comfortable large room, decorated attractively according to nearby Greenfield Village. The breakfast buffet had many good choices, including fresh made french toast, pancakes, eggs, meats, and other items usually included in complimentary hotel breakfasts. We would for sure come back next year.

We keep coming back to the "Pink Palace" every year. Whether it's for a Tigers or Red Wings game or a concert, the hotel is an easy drive on and off I-94. Always friendly, always clean, and surprisingly affordable, it's a great place for business or family stays.

Best Western just lost a customer. After having my iPhone stolen from my room at the Best Western Greenfield Inn, I reported it to the front desk. They were incredibly unhelpful and unconcerned. They pretty much treated me like iI was crazy.... surely I was mistaken... maybe I misplaced it (I search my room, luggage, clothing, etc multiple times). An online chat with customer service started with friendly greetings but ended abruptly after I stated my issue. After I threatened reception with bad reviews they suggested the "find my phone" app and attempted to call the phone to see who picked up. So, basically, I am out an iPhone. I am considering filing a police report so I can submit to my insurance. But one thing is sure - I will never stay at another Best Western and I will encourage my friends and family to do the same.

I was very surprised how amazing this hotel was. Food was great! Staff was great! Rooms are clean. They even have fresh ice lemon water available!! Breakfast was delicious! Dearborn ham never fails! Thank you!

Has a nice lounge and restaurant as well as good room service. We checked in late a few times at this Best Western but they managed to make us something to eat even though the restaurant was ready to close. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, decently quiet, easy out to I-94 and M-39. Good places to eat in the area as well.

Fabulous stay with exceptional staff. Great food, pool, easy to get to, would definitely stay there again. Close to Ford museum and within 45 minutes of many other attractions. It is a great place to stay with great employees!

A fair price and excellent service for a good mattress in an acceptable room, with a quite adequate Lounge. Pool area was inviting, but did not have time. I could have stayed very upscale at a relative "bargain" elsewhere, but it was twice the price. And, since I was paying for it, I made a good choice with BW.

Enjoyed the stay. Helpful staff. Quiet at night. Awesome fitness center. Pool area was really nice. I really enjoyed the hot tub. The lounge and grill had really good food that was reasonable. Def one of the better hotels in this area

The lounge was great food, hotel room was not laid out well, shower handle loose, unable to get real hot water, breakfast buffet was cold and slim pickings,in room coffee was bad, slim on coffee, shampoos soaps

Clean hotel...bathroom a little small but functional. Beds were nice but a bit soft for me..but that is a personal preference :) Front desk and service staff were incredible, friendly and helpful. Loved the pool area, large hot tub and suana.

As we approached the hotel, we were a little unsure as to whether we wanted to stay in the area or not. However, once we arrived at the front door, we were quite pleased. The hotel is a little dated, however, it is clean and they have a good staff. Unfortunately, one of the 2 elevators was out (apparently, for over 2 weeks) which made for a very long walk to our room. Also, there is a nice bar and restaurant on the premises with a decent (and free) breakfast buffet.

From the time you arrive and check in till the time you check out this is the best hotel in the area it has everything anyone needs the food is great service was wonderful and the bar is a fine place and atmosphere

We stayed in this hotel when the Detroit Airport shut down due to an ice storm a few weeks ago. Though I can complain a lot about how the airlines and airport handled this, the hotel was great! Online booking on all websites were not being allowed. So I went on my handy Tripadvisor app to look for local phone numbers. When I called this hotel I talked with Shannon, and she put my mind at ease that we were guaranteed a room. This was a big deal, because the Fairfield that we were suppose to stay at decided to go first come first serve so our reservation was lost. We were traveling with 2 young kids, and it was high stress. They estimated 40,000 people were attempting to book rooms that now. After I freaked out 2 more times that our room was gone, Shannon reassured me and relaxed me all 3 phone calls. When we got to the hotel the line for check-in was almost out the door. The girls at the front desk were quick and we got through the line in hardly anytime. Our rooms were smaller than we're used to, but were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Checked out the pool area in the morning and was VERY nice. The manager was there that morning checking everyone's flights and she was super nice and helpful! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

My wife and i stayed here before flying out to vegas and we couldnt have picked a better place to stay before our flight.This victorian style hotel was just what we needed to start our vacation.With all its charm and the freindly and helpfull staff we truly enjoyed our stay here and our only regret was we did not book a few extra days before our trip.The room was huge and up to date with all the amenities and the bed was really comfortable.hotel also offers free shutlle to the airport.and having the restaraunt on site is a plus as well.

Decent place for 2 night hockey tournament. 10 minutes to Henry Ford museum. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Free breakfast, ok, not best we have had. Rooms somewhat dated and worn out. Fairly clean. Small bathrooms. Common rooms available for groups. One family kept having issues with door locks- kids locked in room 2-3 times , took awhile to resolve. Not bad, but could be better.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I couldn't get past the tired look of this hotel. Even the smell of smoke from the past permeated the hallways though they tried to mask the smell with scented sprays...not a good for asthma or COPD sufferers!

I was impressed with the charm of the decor and cleanliness of this property. There are antiques scattered all over and many lovely twists and turns with small gathering areas. The hotel is a bit worn (as I would expect from a well used property) and staffed by very friendly and attentive employees. The lobby was in "remodel mode" as they are waiting on delivery of a new front desk, but service was uninterrupted. We had trouble with our TV remote. The front desk gal brought us a new one right away, but it did not work either. She informed us that the maintenance man was involved in a large project but would visit us as soon as he was finished. About four hours later we called the front desk to inquire and they were very apologetic that it had taken so long. Their maintenance staff came right away with a 3rd remote which worked beautifully. He also gave us 2 coupons for free breakfast as an apology for our trouble. We were surprised and very happy! We stayed for two nights. After our first night my husband inquired about looking at some of their suites. We were in a basic king room. They gave him key cards and allowed us to tour three of their suites. It was fun and they were lovely! They also allowed us to switch to an Executive King suite for our second night which was wonderful. We had brought a keyboard along to do some music rehearsal and the Executive Suite gave us much more room which we needed. The bed was comfortable, the bedding was crisp and clean, and both rooms were very clean. A big shout out to their housekeeping staff because not every hotel is as clean as this one! The restaurant is lovely with several cozy areas and the food was satisfactory. They allowed my musician husband to play a few songs on their piano. The hot tub was out of order during our stay which was disappointing, but things do break down and we were not upset. The pool area was very clean with towels set out for guests, and the water was warm. The grounds are not large, but there is an inner courtyard that has three pretty gazebos and a small pond with koi fish. Our visit was in December so there was nothing blooming but I can imagine in the warmer months it is just beautiful with flowers and plants. Also, their check out time is 12:00 noon which is later than most hotels we have stayed in. We were in Dearborn to visit the Henry Ford Museum and attend Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village. The price of this property is a great value and well worth what is provided in return. We are delighted to have discovered this gem and will be staying here when we visit the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.

This is one of the best hotel/motels we have stayed in for quite awhile, the property is wonderful, clean, acessable , the pool area is GREAT the food is good and the staff is exceptional, very friendly and helpful

We have stayed at this hotel before and didn't have any issues. But they must have gotten new mattresses (?) Because we could not even sleep! It was the worst night's sleep I've ever had on a bed. Granted, sleeping in a sleeping bag on the ground is worse. We were also disappointed to see mold/mildew in the bathroom. We actually moved to another hotel for the next night. If you like to sleep on rock slabs though, this is the place for you.

Definitely built in keeping and style with visits to near by Greenfield village museum in mind. THICK -and solid walls make for a bit of extra sound proofing- which is good considering proximity to the interstate. Easy to find and get to, ample parking, good restaurant and bar on site. Rooms are tasteful and decorated with a historic feel, although the place is a bit of a labyrinth to navigate, and you'll get plenty of exercise walking from your room to the lobby.

My Overall stay at the hotel was great. I would for sure recommand this hotel to friends and family. The room was space, cleab and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the jacuzzi, pool and the sauna. Front Desk attandant was very kind, friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again for sure.

Hotel is very clean and staff was very nice. Prices at the restaurant were good especially with check in coupons (ask for them at the front desk for drink specials); the food was always very good with large portions (good for sharing if you arer't super hungry) and very kind and efficient servers. There is a free shuttle available for transport to and from local attractions and you can get tickets during the hotel booking through the Ford attractions site or at the front desk. The packages are a very good deal. Two tickets to two attractions (Ford Museum, Greenwich Villiage or the Ford Plant) with one or two nights stay. It is easy to purchase extra tickets, or tickets for the kids. The indoor pool was very clean and there is a lift available for pool entry assistance, sauna and hot tub. The hotel interior is dated and charming, the rooms are very nice, there is a gazebo for visiting with family and friends and there is even a little pond with turtles to keep littles looking for them at a window. This hotel had some construction going on but it didn't interfere with our stay.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for our 20th wedding anniversary. We were married at Greenfield Village and felt the Inn was a perfect fit for 2 decades of marriage. We booked the Thomas Edison suite, room 340 Again, Ford dedicated the museum to his dear friend and it just seemed to fit. We checked in and all was fine, at the moment. I wasn't in the room 5 minutes before I noticed the TV and lights seemed to flicker. The bathroom lights flickered constantly. I didn't pay much attention initially. As we celebrated with wine, a random picture literally fell OFF the wall. Again, didn't really think much. As we got ready for dinner, I stumbled in the room over what appeared to be nothing and ended up with a deep scratch on my back. I felt like something was off but it really wasn't until my husband said his glasses were "missing" that I started to thing it might be the room. We went to a fantastic dinner and stopped on our way back in to the hotel lounge to listen to music by our favorite Frank Sinatra. We got back to the room and the lights would NOT turn on. We had to call the front desk to have someone come up. While we waited, there was a loud POUNDING on the door. When we got up to answer...no one was there. The TV then came on by itself. It stopped on a random music infomercial, playing what?? Frank Sinatra's New York, New York. We didn't go to bed until well after 2am. I know I drank a lot of wine to help me block out whatever was IN that room. We continued to hear noises and knocking. When I woke up at 5:30, I got my husband up and we left as we could

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, while visiting the Henry Ford Museum complex. Upon check-in, we were greeted by a very friendly gal, who helped in multiple ways with questions about the area we were to visit (even though she was busy with other guests also). Our accommodations, restaurant food, staff friendliness, & the pet friendly acceptance, all made for a very enjoyable stay for us. The housekeeping staff also greeted us with warm friendliness. This was also a very good location for us in reaching the Henry Ford (within 2 miles!) We much enjoyed our stay, & will return to this Best Western in our future visit to the museum in the future.

The hotel is nestled between a busy set of railroad tracks and I-94. The housekeeping staff yells down the hallway and stands and talks about the days (not work related) events very loudly. Unfortunately, when you are working night shift and you need to sleep during the day, this makes for a very unpleasant experience. Our company gave us the choice of Best Western or the Comfort Inn. I made the wrong choice. We won't stay here again.

Lovely indoor swimming pool, sauna and spa pool. Very friendly staff. Good restaurant at reasonable prices. Altogether a great one night stopover, would have liked to stop longer. Stayed in 17 hotels during a 21 day tour, this was my favourite.

I've stayed at this hotel many times over many years, usually on business matters - and will be staying here for a conference too in a month. Don't be put off by the pink exterior, and that it is called "The Pink Palace" - this funny element is all part of the charm. Instead, enjoy the halls covered with artwork of old cars, which celebrates the hotel's connection to not only the Ford HQ but also the Henry Ford Museum. The hotel is also very close to the Greenfield Village, the outdoor museum part of the Henry Ford Museum. The location to these town features are not only the best parts - you are close to good food in Detroit and Dearborn, especially the best Middle Eastern food in the entire USA. If you do not like Middle Eastern food, enjoy local chains nearby at the close shopping center, or even venture into creative and artistic renewing Detroit. The hotel is not fancy, but it is a comfortable place that will stick in your mind as part of this heart-touching town of Dearborn.

I am thrilled with the experience we had at this property! The staff was beyond helpful, the unique rooms and photos hung in the halls made the decor fun! The restaurant served wonderful food in a timely manner. The shuttle driver was polite and full of fun things about Detroit. We could not be more pleased with our stay!

Enjoyed the features of this hotel. It has a certain style. Rooms are good. Beds comfortable. This hotel has a pool which looks great. The bar is great with showing sports. They serve great pizza. Good selection of food ans drinks. The barmaid that was tuesday was very nice and did a good job.

We have stayed here before. Our first experience was not very good. This time was much much better! They are clearly making steps to update and improve the hotel. We were disappointed to see the hot tub still was not up and running a year later, but you can see they are working on it and it is going to be AMAZING when it is ready. Elevator did have a burning smell, they said it's because the vacuumed and they were old vacuums but it was still there the next day, but no issue with the elevator functioning. Be careful when getting into the showers, they don't have any grip on the bottom and I almost fell. Checking in was much more pleasant this go around, and we loved our room. Also glad to see we didn't have to use wristbands for the pool area this time. Weird having to use them for just a pool. We will return next time we have to stay in the area!

This hotel was fantastic! The employees were super friendly and helpful. The cost was very reasonable. Rooms were very comfortable. The restaurant was good. Stay at this place, you will love it. Great indoor pool and workout area.

We got stuck in the Allen Park area of MI. This hotel was simply a nice clean classy place. I was so delightfully surprised with this hotel. I would stay here again. The room are very large and clean. Coffee makers in the room for added convenience.

Traveling for work with confirmed reservations at another hotel in another city somehow got cancelled even though we had confirmation numbers...grrr. So we were left to find a hotel room at 2am in strange city. Due to weather backing up the airlines in Detroit it was impossible to find anything near our location. We drove by this hotel and stopped to inquiry about getting rooms. The night desk clerk so nice and got us in right away. The hotel was clean fresh and spacious. I must admit I was a bit worried because they called it the "Pink Palace". I would absolutely stay here again!

A great value, great location, excellent restaurant (especially breakfast!!), easy to get to highways and attractions. Staff is attentive, love the always-fresh coffee and tea in the lobby (YES, even dark roast for fans of dark-roast coffee!).

The Henry Ford museum package is what attracted us to this hotel. You get a room, complimentary breakfast, tickets and shuttle transportation for one convenient, competitive price. It's close to the museum, the rooms, cleanlineness, staff, food, and amenities were all excellent. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly front desk personnel provided a fast check in. Entire complex has excellent level of maintenance and security. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. HVAC control a little strange (ask for help if you need it) If arriving by car, look for the Front Entrance, the Lobby Entrance, otherwise you will be trying to get in the back door (which you can't).

Stayed here for 3 days while visiting relatives and touring Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even changed our reservations to a package deal which include room, breakfast, attraction admission and shuttle service to the village and museum. It ended up being a better price. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Victorian charm, comfortable beds, personable staff. They offer an excellent package including a 2 night stay, choice of 2 ticket options from 3 venues (Greenfield Village, Henry Ford Museum, and Ford Rouge factory tour), a very delicious breakfast ( a choice of 4) in the hotel restaurant, and RT shuttle service. The breakfast options were not only delicious but also filling. The happy hour is 4-6 PM in their lounge. Freshly baked cookies in the evening, with coffee and tea all day in the lobby. Highly Recommended!!

Beautiful hotel..very friendly staff, Victorian theme..nice pool..2 miles to Henry Ford Museum with free shuttle. Awesome restaurant with very good food. Will definitely stay here again. Looking forward to another visit.

Spacious rooms, great dining area. We had dinner here and it was very good. Breakfast was extremely good. I love the gazebo in the courtyard, it was a good relaxing place to park one's self. But you can get turned around and seriously lost in here.

We were travelling with a Gate 1 tour and this was our first stop. Our stay was very comfortable with a very nice room, comfortable bed. It is called "The Pink Palace" because of the outside color but the inside is very unique in that the walls are covered in photos of all types of automobiles dating back to the 1700's. Very interesting décor done Victorian style. The dining room had a varied menu and everything tasted fresh and good.

We choose this location for 3 reasons: - Ford Museum very close by, even they offer a shuttle - We don't want to spend too much on accommodation for a short 2 days gateway - We are member of the Best Western Chain, so it is good to collect points and get 10% room price But overall experience is very good, what I like about it is the restaurant and room service, restaurant for breakfast and dinner and they had big screens to watch games. The restaurant has a bar at night but they close at 11 pm. You need a car if you plan on staying there, there is shopping malls and restaurants but not within walking distance. Some constructions are around and inside the parking lot of the hotel, but we didn't feel it much except when you need to access the hotel, as some roads are closed. One thing which was impressing, the day we left, we received a call from the hotel saying we forgot to take our IPAD, which is for us an expensive device, for them they were doing their job, this act from their side, means that these people respect the brand they represent and they care for their customers to return back, I will return back if I am in the area. The beds were comfortable, Pillows good. Soaps, shampoos ok for the night, you can bring your own if you wish. Coffee machine available in the room. Thank you Best Western, keep up the good job.

We are travelling with Cosmos, and, unknown to us before departure, apparently, a low budget touring company. We are travelling from NYC to LA. Once again, we have landed in a quaint hotel, but far removed from any action, so it's dine in and early to bed, but not before we get the laundry done. Yep, three wash and three dryers, although one washing machine is not working. No instructions on how much to pay for each machine, so it's an extended walk to reception, via a maze of twists and turns through halls. Remember, it's the journey.....not the destination....but this one will put you to the test. The room is (was) great, with ALL mod-cons including coffee maker, plastic drinking glasses, paper coffee cups, powdered milk, and air conditioning that doesn't work, but apparently, that's the norm in the States. The bathroom is a tight squeeze. We've two queen beds, heaps of lumpy pillows, so we're looking forward to a good night sleep. Outside, its PINK....and pink is everywhere, almost like a lonely strawberry, sitting idly in the paddock....but I did say it was quaint. Pink paint must have been on special at the local hardware at the time of colour selection. Seriously??? Just returned from dinner. Good American menu selection, similar to thousands of pubs and hotels throughout the US, and pricing is manageable. Hanging out for something mum used to cook, like lamb cutlets, mashed spuds and pumpkin, green and cooked (as opposed to half cooked) peas, toss in a sprinkle of cooked carrots, a dash of gravy and I'm happy. But not here. Oh well, only a couple of weeks to go. Oh, oh. Spoke to soon. The bed was awful, the pillows resembled a pillow case full of books on aspiring politicians. Had the worst nights sleep on this tour. I've altered the review from four, down to two stars. RIP, but not here.

We ended up having to make a last min trip to this city due to my parents being in an accident and in hospital. Got the hotel suggestion from Beaumont hosp. And a special medical rate due to emergency. Ramona at front desk was sooo helpful & understanding & caring. Also the entire staff from hotel to restaurant were extremely considerate & helpful. Had a nice pool/hottub area even tho we didnt get to use it. Had nice lil extra areas like koi/turtle pond, gazebo area. Room was clean and beds comfy. Id definitely stay here if i came back to actually enjoy area.

This hotel is an older hotel with a lot of class and very close to many activities such as visiting the Henry Ford museum. Our family stayed in a queen room with extra space. While spacious it could use a couple of extra chairs so that you are not only sitting on the bed. Peter made our stay special and gave additional details about the area, Detroit, and other places to visit. He was patient with our questions and had a smile for all guests. Our family will definitely return because if the customer service he provided.

Hotel is very convenient off 94 and close to major attractions. Very clean and quaint-updates to carpet and walls recently. The best is the staff. They are all welcoming and kind. They treat all their guests like family and and very accommodating. Great place!!!

I arrived on June 1 2018, I was a woman traveling alone to the Detroit area to see family, I was not happy with the room, I called the front desk asking if there were more outlets in the bathroom, I was told there was not, as a woman we need them to do our hair etc...shower had turquoise tile , looked like 1925, I could not help but express what a dump the room was, I called the front desk told them how I felt after unloading my things in the pouring rain, (not their fault) so all the front desk did was offer me a full refund. I said I did not ask for that, so I said are you asking me to leave? He said I misunderstood, I unpacked, went to get dinner, as I was trying to wind down from a 5 hour drive from Chicago, I received a phone call from the Hotel saying I must vacate the property immediately ,I thought this was a joke, I was also told that if I did not they would take my belongings and set them outside, I was never so humiliated in my life!!!! I had to call Dearborn Mich police to make sure they did not touch my things, when I rushed back to the room, my key was deactivated and I had me the officer, he walked me to the front desk, not sure if my things were still in the room, now I am freaked out! I had expensive handbags and rings in there, the manager opened the door and walked away. I called the 800 # to explain what the hell just happened and they backed him up 100% , I had to call around and find a room!!! Thanks alot Best Western, Shame on you all. Ms Jennifer

My husband and I wanted to go on a small vacation after our wedding. I'm so glad I booked at the Pink Palace. As soon as we checked in the staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Our room was so spacious and had amazing amenities like a spacious bathroom, plenty of dresser space, a great view of the courtyard, and a comfy couch. We immediately were offered discounted tickets to The Henry Ford (which I recommend you buy). Mugly's has really great food and at a great price. The one thing I will say that I find very off putting was that they basically short pour their drinks and gave my husband CC and said it was Jack Daniels. Which I don't think is the hotels fault. All and all I will always recommend this hotel. There may be a railroad behind it and the road is closed that is a straight shot to the Henry Ford, it is honestly the best value in Metro Detroit. It is still within 30 minutes to the Zoo and Downtown.

This older hotel has helpful, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Ask for rooms on the side away from the freeway, and you will have a quiet night. The walls are thick, and noise from other rooms is minimal to nonexistent. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the Greenfield Village complex. Beds were very comfortable, and bedding/towels are good quality. Be aware that breakfast is not included. There is on on-site restaurant where you can obtain breakfast. Otherwise, you will have to drive to restaurants. There are none other located within walking distance.

This hotel is dark and dirty. My feet stuck to the room carpet and to the bathroom floor. The staff was very nice and accommodating, but with so many options out there, I would pick another place to stay

... Once you step inside you will enjoy one of THE most pleasurable motel stays you could ask for. Simply outstanding from check in to check out.Trust me, if my VERY picky wife loves this motel, and she does, you will as well.

Hotel had a stench.The staff was great and friendly. Cleanliness was ok however this hotel was extremely old and all older hotels defineitly tell their age at some point. Breakfast was great. The restaurant inside the building had amazinng service.

I took my family her they enjoyed the pool me and my wife enjoyed the lounge it was very nice great food well worth the price you get alot of food for what you pay for it was excellent I will be back Arvin and Mary was all some people very pleasant and Laurie was great! !!!

We spend about 7 weeks a year (half in the Spring, half in the Fall) at this hotel. On site restaurant, good WiFi, daily paper in the lobby, on site laundry and a pleasant courtyard in which to sit in the evenings - all of these things bring us back. Only two downsides - they allow pets and the wimpy, dim CFL lights in the bedside lamps. We brought our own 60W (equivalent) LED bulbs so we could read in bed at night. We also experienced the power failure described by ferguson54 and SportMom35. The power company (DTE) was the one at fault, not the motel, and DTE was not giving out any estimates of when power would be back on. The motel brought in a massive generator (the size of a travel trailer) and we muddled through quite nicely. You have to be flexible and go with the flow when you travel.

I had family coming in from out of town so we decided to get together and book a few night's at the Pink Palace. However, due to a power outage from a wind storm we had to change our plans. The hotel staff informed us they had no estimate of when the power would be back on and could cancel our reservations with no charge or cancellation fee if we chose not to stay. As we stayed in the lobby for a bit to make other arrangements, we witnessed many people approach the front desk who were given the same option... we also witnessed a group of people get angry with the staff because they chose to stay overnight AFTER being informed there was no estimated restoration time, now demanding free rooms. I understand staying at a hotel with no power is not ideal but why not find other accommodations... don't harass the staff when they have no control. While I have never left a hotel review before, I felt I needed to after hearing such rude comments toward the staff. Kudos to you Best Western, I'm sure you did the best you could during a days long power outage! We will make new reservations to stay with you next time our family gets together in the Detroit area!

Power outage no guidance on what was going on. Stayed the night with no hot water no light and was told we were still getting charged for the stay. The emergency lights were to be on but some didn't work, Couldn't find out a time line when Hydro was coming on. Ask for a discount but was denied. Between my husband and I we have stayed in various accomadations. In all those places the Pink Palace is top in the running hands down. Ramona was the associate that I spoke with making reservations. She was very polite and accomadating to my endless questions. I had called a couple other places that evening that were in a hurry couldn't wait to get on to the next call. Peter was working the front desk and is just hilarious. Upon arriving he greeted us with a "We have been waiting for you all evening!" So very friendly and willing to accomodate anything we threw at him. Great customer service, beautiful accomadations and clean!

I am having construction done at my home and stayed at the Best Western for a week. They were very accommodating! The rooms were very clean, the pool and courtyard were awesome, and they were very pet friendly!!! The restaurant in the hotel had excellent food. Best of all the entire staff was kind and attentive to all of our needs. I highly recommend this hotel!!!

We stayed for over 10 days and can honestly say, had No issues. All the employees from the Front desk to the restaurant were very helpful and pleasant. Rooms were clean, complimentary coffee in the lobby was always hot and location was convenient.

My parents power went out they needed a place to spend the night. I contacted Greenfield Inn because everything closer to their home was already booked. Latrice, at the front desk, was so helpful. I actually booked two rooms, one for my cousin who needed a handicapped accessible room. This was the best decision I have ever made in hotels. The rooms are very large and clean. Flat screen tv. Lots of towels. Very comfortable bed, and room was quiet. The restaurant located inside the hotel is very good. Lots of restaurants and shopping near the hotel. The rate was very reasonable. I will be staying here again.

When our power went out I needed a place to spend the night. I've stayed here before but it was quite a while ago. Well nothing had changed. It's been nicely kept up. The rooms are nice and clean. Nice size flat screen tv. Lots of towels. Comfortable bed, and room was quiet. No free breakfast here, but the restaurant is very good though a bit pricey. (Lots of restaurants and shopping near by). This hotel is also pet friendly. I saw two best western vans so I assume they offer a shuttle to the Henry ford museum. The rate was also very attractive. If your coming to the Dearborn area, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

Historic property is well maintained and undergoing additional renovation. Good room size with closet. Fairly quiet considering proximity to major highway. Nice looking pool area and fitness center thought we did not use them. Better than average bed. Excellent location if you plan to go to Ford Museum and short drive to anything in Detroit.

The shuttle guy ("Junior") was pleasant and Suzanne, the gal who checked me in, was great too. The meal I had in the restaurant/bar was excellent -- one of the best Caesar salads I ever had. I ordered a second one. The BBQ Chicken with Baked Potato were simple, but yummy. The room was spacious, spotless, and quiet. Best of all, I loved the pink exterior. Please don't ever change it. Don't even think about changing it.

I came to Detroit for a long weekend, and wanted a quiet hotel, which is exactly what this is. Reception was excellent. Lots of parking easy to move around. Room was as expected. Very clean, large enough, maybe a touch dated, but the extremely comfortable bed more than made up for any shortcomings. Hotel is nicely decorated throughout with a vehicle motif. I'd definitely stay here again.

Room was fine. Clean sheets and bathroom. Breakfast was a little wonky... the front desk person said there was no breakfast, but when we walked over to the restaurant there actually was. It was a bit strange.

The building has excellent Car display décor thru-out with beautiful Wood-Décor and the location has very easy access onto & outgoing to a major express highway. And the service people made us feel right at Home!!!

Over priced, cold pool with a limit on swimmers.....room was depressing and not very cozy...I would rather go to Woodhaven than the pink palace also was very confusing to even find my room and didn't have much help work employees just a rude attitude

We were in town for a funeral when our original hotel had a power failure so we needed to make other arrangements on the fly. We needed a hotel that allowed dogs. We found the Greenfield inn and made a reservation online. When we got there, the front desk clerk, Tina, arranged for us to have a room on the main floor near one of the doors. There were a lot of people staying at the hotel but noise was never an issue. We ordered breakfast in the morning and got great food at a fair price and in short time. Yes, the hotel is older but the accommodations were excellent. We are glad that we have found another hotel i n metro detroit that takes pets. In terms of convenient location, staff service, and value for the money, this hotel exceeded expectations greatly.

The Best Western Greenfield Inn is better known as the "Pink Palace", the reason being that the hotel is PINK. This already makes it very special as soon as you approach it. However, the magic continues when you enter the beautiful and magical building. The hotel was first built way back in the 60's but has since been renovated without changing the decor and the atmosphere. It is like stepping out of a time machine into the 60's. Everything around you is like a museum. Only walking through the corridors and looking at hundreds of beautiful pictures of old cars can take you a few hours. We were given a grand tour of the hotel by the owner, which was fascinating. The rooms are nice, especially some of the larger suites. Don't miss Mugly's restaurant (reviewed by me separately) while you're there!! The Pink Palace - Magnificent!!

My daughter and I found this location while on a business trip! We always stay in the suites (which are huge)! We have been back a few time since just because the staff and environment is so enjoyable! Its close to shopping and the Henry Ford Museum! I must say one of the most helpful staff ever! Bar great food was surprisingly excellent! It has everything for the making of a great stay! Pool wonderful, sauna, bar restaurant and super clean (not to mention its memorabilia is excellent! spend the time, you won't be disappointed!

We had a wonderful experience with staff, cleanliness of room, service and the food was delicious! The hotel has so much history and character and our family really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend and plan on staying in the near future.

Hotel is a good value for price paid. Restaurant is above average. Property itself is in need of some maintenance, but it has been getting better since we were last there. Service is good. Very disappointed that the jacuzzi wasn't running when we were there (this was not mentioned on the website) and the pool heater either wasn't running at all or was turned down really low.

I travel frequently with for my job and this Best Western is, hands down without any doubt, the nicest and best one I've had the pleasure to stay in. I would definitely recommend this Best Western to anyone and will most definitely be staying in for all of my future visits to the Detroit area.

My husband and I wanted to get away for a romantic weekend and boy did this hotel do the trick. I had called to book the room and the front desk person Tina deliver she sold me the "relax and rekindle" package. The massage and dinner gift certificate was great. The food in the restaurant is some of the best that I've had!! They made us feel like we were the only couple in the hotel. They really made our weekend one to rememer

I had the most amazing time on my Christmas vacation!!!! The Best Western Greenfield Inn is amazing not only is it my favorite color it is also very unique. The staff is amazing they go out of their way to make you feel at home. The pool area is beautiful over looking the beautiful court yard. I will definitely recommend and return.

Was in town for business in the city. Comfortable bed, good internet, nice size tv, fridge and micro in the room. Liked they have a restaurant/lounge on site with good. Huge fitness room! And pool and sauna also brand new!

We took the kids here over Christmas vacation & couldn't get the kids out of the pool area ~ they loved it! The fitness center looked brand new & I've never seen a hotel with a sauna. We'll be back!!!

Besides the bartender (who was amazing), service was average. Hotel is clean. Rooms came complete with everything it said it was supposed to. Bed was comfortable- pillows however, were not. Location was decent, depending upon your needs.

This was not our first stay at this Hotel we stay quite often , but recent stays are lacking . On this weekend stay we came back to a room that wasn't cleaned , I went to the front desk to get some fresh towels and told the guy there that our room wasn't cleaned . He said he didn't have anyone on hand to clean but would send someone up to pickup the garbage , now one showed up so we left one day early .

We chose this hotel for the close location to Detroit for a lions game. I?t was an easy in and out. The hotel was adorable with its decor and Tina at the front desk was very accommodating and gave great customer service!

To anyone looking for a hotel near Detroit. You need to stay at this location. Excellent hotel. And. Good shopping near and just off major high way. It's a great hotel with older style. But very well taken care of. Staff excellent.

Clean rooms, wifi works great, big flat screen tv, well equipment fitness center, nice courtyard area, nice big pool, good food and drinks inside the restaurant over30 different beers always enjoy my stay

The property is located close to Greenfield Village and The Henry Ford, where we were headed. The decor and staff are very welcoming and friendly and help make your stay fun and relaxing. The pool and recreation area is fun and comfortable and a great asset to a fun stay.

Rooms were outdated but that doesn't bother me. Hotel in great location. Safe. Wonderful character and great antiques. Would stay here again. We had many large groups-hockey tournament. Accommodating no problem.

This hotel is the best place to stay and very reasonably priced! They have a shuttle to the airport and Uber is a phone call away from downtown! Everytime we come to Detroit we stay here because of the quality of service and the staff. The food is yummy as well!

Really nice but still needs work as far as overall appearance. Later staff not as merry as morning staff. Bu worth the stay. Parking is scarce. I didn't use all the amenities but the overall establishment seems well. In an awkward location but is nice.

Dirty room, need to upgrade for the price you pay Pool area was disgusting and freezing, hot tub was broke, towels looked used and needed to be replaced on chairs. But staff was nice, restaurant food was good - pricy but good

Peeling wallpaper in the hallway, electrical wires sticking out of the wall in the hall where an outlet should have been, and dirty (filthy) carpet in the hall should have been a dead giveaway as to how dreadful this place has become. In past years we have enjoyed our stays here. Because of how poorly the halls were, we were afraid to even attempt to use the pool, sauna, or hot tub. We did get to pay the price that a good hotel commands, though.

My wife and I brought 37 students for a tour of the Rouge River Ford Manufacturing Complex and a tour of the Henry Ford Museum. The hotel was very hospitable for the needs of a large group of students and was very friendly and was thankful to have our business. All of our 13 rooms were very clean and modern. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days from Nov.18-20. We often come to Michigan because we have family here and sometimes we just prefer staying in a hotel to get a little more privacy. We were supposed to get a business room but they were doing some repairs so they upgraded us to a Suite at not cost. Amazing!! The room was very nice and spacious and also very clean! The massage chair was a bonus!! The gym is nice to have if you so wish to get in quick workout. The reception desk was friendly. I loved the Keurig coffee in the lobby and rooms! I can't comment on the pool because it was down for the week, however I was looking forward to using it, hopefully next time. The restaurant also is an added bonus. Had breakfast there one morning. Overall it met all our needs and I have stayed at a few in Michigan and this one is by far the best for the price. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again. Most likely in a few months!

This a beautiful hotel with so much nostalgia, from the automobile pictures on the hall walls to the well placed antique furniture. And it is CLEAN! First place I ever stayed where I didn't pick my shoes up off the floor at night. It is old but extremely well kept. It has a many rooms, but they treat each guest so well. If you are looking for a new age, hip-hop, edgy hotel, this is not for you. If you can appreciate the beauty and elegance this hotel has to offer, you will so love your stay.

This hotel is older, with charm. They have improved the interior hallway lighting so it's not as dark and improved on the cleanliness of the common spaces. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was ok, with older bath tub tile. There was just a small area for hanging clothes, so with two of us there for a week, it was a little cramped. Coffee available in the lobby was a added perk.

Nice hotel.. Love all the little touches in the halls with all the pictures of old cars and the pretties on each door.. Very clean room!! I screwed up and reserved a king instead of two beds for my son and I and decided not to really worry about it cause king beds are huge.. But when we got to the room there was a pull out couch and the mattress actually looked brand new.. So my son slept there and said it was really comfy.. Had a fridge and microwave and lots of room.. Nice colors and very calming.. I fell right to sleep when I hit my bed... I never do that..the pool was under construction but we didn't have time for it anyway.. I definitely recommend this hotel!!! Warm and clean rooms and good easy distance from Henry Ford Museum. Airport pickups and drop off and pickup to the Henry Ford Museum are a bonus for visitors without a car. Lack of public transport to the main city of Detroit may hamper further coverage of Detroit's city area. Food offerings in restaurants lacking healthy options relying on more traditional American foods (fatty, salty with a distinct lack of vegetables or fruit) - so anyone from Europe or Australia might be somewhat disappointed on the menu selections. Looks like most of the American hotels I've stayed at - they seem to be on a standard model and similar age but are comfortable.

Was on another work adventure and stayed at the Inn. Was surprised with all of the pictures of the different cars all throughout the Inn. The staff was really good to deal with and the bar/ restaurant was really good great food and even better prices. Mary is such a character and she made us feel as if we were home.

It's very interesting to see how I was received by the staff chocking in and when I checked out. I had no complains at all. The location is great, easy access to the shops The hygiene in the this hotel is important and you can see it

We always stay at this Hotel when flying out of Detroit Metro Airport. A great location close to everything we need with lots of history. Love the antiques which are scattered throughout their building.

All of the staff at this hotel were friendly and extremely helpful, but especially Shannon on the night shift at the front desk. Shannon is the best! Friendly, knowledgeable and a problem solver! She helped us out with a snoring neighbor in the middle of the night. What a professional.

Visited here for a group tour to Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Good location to both. Found the hotel to be a group friendly rate. Nice to have a lounge in the same hotel. for those that wish to relax after an all day tour.

This is a huge hotel, very close to a major highway. Our room was on the front of the hotel so every tour bus that came in (there were a lot of them) and everyone who stood outside to smoke (lots of that too) were very close to our window. If you stayed on the back side of the hotel, I suspect you might have had a much different experience. Our room was old, the beds weren't bad, just too soft, the carpets were worn and dirty by the door. The thermostat looked like something out of a museum. Clearly this is an old hotel. The furniture and bathroom were fine as was the lobby. The pool looked nice too although we didn't use it. The staff were all very nice. We would not stay here again.

The hotel had a package deal which included tickets and was in close proximity to GFV and the museum. This was a good value for our family of four. I definitely would recommend this hotel if you are looking to attend the museum and green field village

What a unique property. Who would have thought of painting a hotel so pink! The longer we stayed, the more we loved it. :-) The rooms were comfortable, especially the pillows. Staff were very friendly and attentive. You could walk the halls forever and enjoy the multitude of old pictures. Very interesting for all.

Though the hotel was average, the location in vicinity of the Ford Museum was a plus. The shuttle was available to take us to & from the museum and Greenfield Village. The staff was very friendly and helpful regarding the museum but was not helpful in knowing restaurants in the area or shopping other than what was just across the road.

I can't say enough about the hotel. Great staff, good room, everything was great. Three day stay, staff was helpful getting a package for The Henry Ford including breakfast, tickets, shuttle rides, the works.

A gracious "Pink Lady" with patios and gazebos but what fascinated us was the gallery of pictures/art work of old cars dating to the 1920's lining the hallways on our floor. A real history of the auto industries. The motel is closed to The Henry Ford and Greenfield Village and easy access to Detroit city but the real star was the facility and its history. One could spend hours walking the hallways admiring the art work and seeking out the "secret" tower rooms and imagine what conversations took place. In-house restaurant and bar.

When we checked in and went around to the door closest to our room, we found that the front desk worker forgot to active our keys, no big deal to go back around and have them activated. We were down here to spend time with some family and invited them to come swimming with us at our hotel. Upon arrival, we were not told that on Friday and Saturday's you had to wear wrist bands. After getting talked to about not having them, we went to the front desk to get them where we were told a limit of 5 per room and there were 7 of us. The whirlpool was closed off and I guess it has been for some time. That was a major disappointment especially since the book in the room telling you about the amenities said there was one. We were also told the owners were not planning on fixing it. Maybe they should update their information in the rooms. Despite the difficulty enjoying a swim without getting yelled at about a bracelet, the oversized pool was very nice. Had to have service come and fixed something with the toilet and they came right away. Not a terrible stay but will look elsewhere first before our next stay in town.

Looking at this hotel, it is very beautiful. It looks like it should be on the coast of Maine or something. Inside it is old, lots of dark wood, very pretty. The hotel itself...not so great! When we first walked into the lobby, it was very busy, at least 10 people waiting to check in. Everyone was lined up in one line and the agents were telling the next person in line to come forward. So I thought the agents informed everyone to form that one line. Imagine my chagrin when people who came in 15 minutes behind me walked up to the other agent and formed a 2nd line while the rest of us in line were fuming. I blame the agents---they should have informed us there were two lines, or informed the new customers to get in the back of the very long line. When I got into my room, it was very musty. Our television did not work so we had to call maintenance who was very nice but it took 30 minutes to get it fixed. The beds were extremely lumpy. I felt I had to hold on to the side of the bed to avoid rolling off, it was very tilted as well. This hotel was also a bit confusing to get to. I would not recommend.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Rooms were great, beds very comfortable, food excellent. The staff was very helpful with our questions about the area. Also, the staff was helpful in providing information about the places we were going to see while we were visiting the area and gave us helpful advise on saving money on the different things.

Rooms have microwave ,fridge,kuerig coffee makers,and are clean and comfortable beds. The restaurant has great pizza and wings. Easy to find off the highway. Staff very friendly and helpful enjoyed our stay and would go back

The hotel staff, including the Front Desk staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping staff, and shuttle drivers were all professional and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. The food from the restaurant was excellent. The hallway décor was interesting to see all of the vintage automobiles.

We stayed for 4 nights, prices were up 25% from last year. We booked 9 months in advanced. We stay here every year at this time(Sept). Breakfast should be included at this price. Also the staff told us that the new owners said they are not going to fix the hot tub. This was a favorite for us. A second bartender was needed on Saturday night, customers sitting at the tables by the bar were not being waited on. Some approached the bar asking for service.The bartender was working as fast as he could. Our room thermostat was set to full warm but only cool air came out the vent. Another blanket should be provided at this time of year.

Impressed with hotel staff, accomadations, food, service, shuttle service, and hotel decoration. All made for a very pleasant stay. Thank you also for thinking of the extra special things also, fast check in and out and breakfasts expecially the grab and go breakfast for our very early train departure.

very nice facility if you like pink!! Rooms are nicely laid out and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. This facility does not offer a free breakfast like most Best Westerns. Having to add the cost of breakfast to the already "high" room charge lessens the overall value of the stay. Plus, breakfast service is slow.

A good hotel to stay for the Detroit Jazz Festival, within close 15 minute drive proximity. Nice looking big pink building. Nice staff, comfortable beds, easy parking, good internet. Restaurant in hotel with 50 percent off first drink coupons.

We were participating in the Greenfield Village Old Car Show September 8-10 and after a hectic, long day of activities there it was nice to come back to this classy, well kept, quite hotel and a nice dinner in Mugly's Lounge. Everything was easy, no stress, pleasant. Will go back again

Great accommodations for a group. Plenty of spots to gather and socialize at pool, bar and restaurant. Excellent service. Great food. Easy access to tourist activities like The Henry Ford, Dearborn and Downtown Detroit.

Room was very large & roomy. Exceptionally clean throughout the motel. Free wi-fi. Staff extremely courteous & efficient. Beds very comfortable. In-house restaurant reasonably priced. Decor enjoyable for car lovers - many antique car pictures & ads throughout.

Great stay near the Ford Museum. Purchased a ticket package on check-in that included breakfast in the attached restaurant. Good food & friendly service. Hotel staff was very helpful in planning our activities while in Detroit.

This is a large but attractive hotel. Our room was very nice. The hotel is a couple of miles from Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to and from the Henry Ford attractions. Breakfast is not provided but there is a restaurant with bar inside the hotel. Prices at the restaurant were reasonable and the food was good. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. My only criticism is that for two days I tried to use the treadmill in the fitness center but couldn't get it to work.

Spent a couple days at this hotel as part of a visit to Greenfield Village and The Henry Ford. Shuttle transported us to and from the sites. There was shopping nearby as I had to pick up some additional items. Staff was friendly and helpful. All in , a good experience.

This place has lots of character… It's pink and detailed and looks like a giant tea room. The hotel has good amenities and a lovely pool and sauna. There is a restaurant on site. The room was clean overall, although I did find a phone case on the floor near the nightstand that wasn't mine. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling that looks as if it were an issue from moisture not relating to cleanliness, and I let the staff know upon check-out, so hopefully it will fixed. It was very convenient to the Henry Ford and the folks were very friendly.

As my husband and i checked into the hotel. We went right in the room and settled in after a 7 hour drive and noticed that there was FOOD left behind in the fridge... Eww.. I guess things happen and that is understandable, but when i tried phoning the front desk.. there was absolutely no sincere apology given... The food almost looked like it had mold in it and was there for at least a couple of days or so. Later that night a group of youngster checked into a room close by... & just our luck it looked like a neighborhood party was arising with guests storming in and out of the room. We went ahead and called the front desk but there was absolutely no resolution. Staff was not friendly, Service was TERRIBLE. I will not be returning to this OLD dump again.

My family and I have stayed at the pink castle for 35 years! They always have the best service, good food and very kind knowledgeable people… Thank you Greenville Inn! Now my children will be bringing their children because they love the pink castle just as much as I do...

Great staff, clean rooms, pool area was large with a nice pool. The only thing that looked bad was the carpet in the hallway. Time to install new! Rooms are comfortable, reasonably priced hotel. We used Uber to go to Detroit Tigers game.

Front desk was super nice and helpful. Quiet and spacious rooms with a large tv and plenty of channels and very clean. Pics of cars down the corridor is a nice touch. Beds are firm and comfortable and actually feel new. Oh - maybe not so sure about quiet, a big train just slid past. I hope that's not going to happen throughout the night!!!!

I was so excited when I drove up and found we were staying in a pink hotel. So cute!!! The lobby was very nice and there were fresh baked cookies on the counter. A lovely gentleman named Peter helped us and he was great! We were going to the museum the next day so he added a set of passes on our room for us which was great cause we got to skip the line the next day. Our room was very comfortable. The pool was very nice. We were given some drink coupons for the bar but we were so tired we never went down there. Wish we would have cause it looked very nice. Great stay! Great staff!

When we decided to include a visit to The Henry Ford on our vacation itinerary, I spent a lot of time investigating every possible way to pay for the tickets and to find decent, affordable accommodations. During this process, I called the front desk of the Best Western Greenfield Inn multiple times. It was obvious the employees were very busy. Nonetheless, each time I was greeted by very agreeable people who patiently answered every one of my questions. It was evident that we had hit a home run as soon as we arrived. Appearance-wise, the building could compete with a higher end hotel. The place is beautifully decorated, with the walls of the halls lined with pleasant framed pictures centered on an automobile motif. Even the wide stairwells are very nicely painted and carpeted. Our room couldn't have been nicer. If I had to choose something about which to say something negative, I'd have to pick the size of the bathroom. It's a bit small but more than adequate. Saying that, although, for my tastes, there could have been more places to hang towels, it had more towel racks available than any other hotel bathroom I've used. It even had a retractable line on which I could hang my swim clothes to dry. In spite of being adjacent to major roads, the place is quiet. Navigating the halls could be confusing except for the wonderful signage. The first thing we did was to sign up for the shuttle to The Henry Ford, the cost being part of our package. That saved us having to brave traffic in an area unfamiliar to us and having to pay a $6 parking fee. Going, the shuttles leave on a schedule. Coming back, we called when we were ready to be picked up; our wait was very short. Both drivers were so personable. The vehicles were attractive and clean. We were given four vouchers for The Henry Ford. It was up to us to order which sections of it we wanted to visit, which we did when we redeemed them at The Henry Ford. We received vouchers which gave us four choices for breakfast in the attached restaurant. The food is made to order and absolutely delicious. If anyone leaves hungry, something is wrong. The portions are huge. Everything was included in the package: coffee, tea, juice, even the tip! I used the pool. Although it is inside the building, that section is surrounded by a very relaxing interior outdoor-like area with foliage (real or fake – didn't check this out), tables, chairs, and table umbrellas, and it is lovely. Sorry, can't think of the wording I want. For a hotel, the pool is huge. The water was perfect. Although it was crowded, the size allowed me to easily swim as I had wanted. The number of pool towels available were abundant. The absolute best asset this property has is a wonderful staff. Every person with whom we interacted came across as being genuinely affable. The atmosphere greatly contributed to our break from the daily grind. Based on my experience, I highly recommend the Best Western Greenfield Inn to anyone who needs lodging in the Dearborn, MI area.

You can read more of my reviews and of our trips at 'TravelPhotosnFood.com' We were on a 3,000 motorcycle ride and chose the Best Western Greenfield Inn for it's location near some places we wanted to visit. Upon arriving and just our luck we found a bus unloading and numerous people in the lobby. Check-in went pretty quickly and I was greeted by a smiling face and friendly conversation. After parking and unloading our things we headed to the room. The hallway was clean and fresh smelling. Upon entering the room it was large. Everything was clean and fresh looking. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. They even had a massage chair in the room. After cleaning up we went down to the restaurant at the hotel for a few drinks and a snack. The waitress was friendly and the mozzarella sticks were good. We headed back to our room for a quite and comfortable nights sleep. The next morning we went back to the restaurant for breakfast which is not included and completely separate cost. We both ordered the Corn Flake encrusted Wheat French Toast with the low sugar syrup and hashbrowns, orange juice and coffee. The French toast was very good. When we went to leave the hotel I discovered my battery had died. It was getting kind of weak but I was keeping my fingers crossed it would last the remainder of our trip. My wife went back inside and the front desk said they would send someone right away to assist us. Nick, the chief engineer at the hotel arrived and tried to start my motorcycle. Due to the battery placement it was very hard to find a good connection and we were unsuccessful. I asked Nick where was a close location to get a battery and he got one of their shuttle vans and took us to a battery warehouse not far from the hotel to get a replacement. When we got back to the hotel he made sure everything was Ok and we were good to go.

Staff was excellent. Food was excellent. First room dusty had an odor, and bath tub plugged and no shower curtain. Second room was wonderful. Excellent Will stay again. Pool was excellent. Staff excellent

Got a great online deal so decided to take a chance and stay here. Older hotel, reminded me of places that I stayed at as a kid. Our room was clean. Awesome woodwork everywhere, you won't find this in a new hotel. My daughter would call the neighborhood "sketchy" but we are from the country. Definitely plenty of security options like needing a room key to get into the hotel and it appears they could close the parking lot gates at night (we were not out past dark to see). We stayed one night to visit the Henry Ford and it was the perfect cheap in-and-out option for that.

My stay was so-so. First room was not good with a horrible smell that would not go away. I was given a new room by a nice lady at the desk however the head of housekeeping was not nice about it and seemed put-out by my complaint. I got no sense of her wanting to assist me with the issue. My second room was fine and appeared clean. The restaurant food was okay, nothing amazing but not horrible. We did get some under cooked food once but the waitress got us new food that was fine. My biggest complain regarding the restaurant was the waiting. Getting a table and getting orders placed took forever. I got the impression that they were short staffed although the person who I thought was the hostess ignored quite a few people waiting for a table so I'm not sure what her job function was. Overall I'd go with 3 stars. Not the worse place I've stayed but far from the best. It was convenient to be close to the Henry Ford Museum which was our destination and the free shuttle was handy as long as you asked for a return ride well in advance of when you wanted to head back.

We stayed two nights in this hotel recently. The shuttle service to and from the airport was excellent. They will also provide shuttle service to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village which is a real plus. The rooms seemed a bit dated to me. The early American décor reminded me of my mother's parlor. The rooms also seemed very dark with tan walls and dark brown accent walls. They need to update the décor. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were a bit lumpy. There is an onsite restaurant which has a nice selection and a very affordable breakfast buffet. The restaurant staff was especially friendly and helpful. There is also an onsite coin laundry which I find very helpful when traveling.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was no working hot tub. The pool is heated but was often full of unsupervised teens. The décor is lovely. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. A free continental breakfast is not available but there is a restaurant located inside.

Booking online was easy and checking in a snap. I had asked for a quiet room and the front desk staff mentioned my request and responded. Lots of folks at this large hotel but room was very quiet and close to where my car was parked. Large clean room with two comfy queen size beds. Fabulous car photos on the walls of the walkways. A bonus was the big HD television with HD reception. Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area.

Made the reservation before the trip going to Grand Rapids for a convention. This property is rather unique. from the pink exterior to door bells on the doors. The free shuttle that they offer to the Ford Museum and Greenfield Village is a nice plus. No free breakfast which can be a good thing since you don't have to eat the same things day after day. The restaurant attached has a nice variety in their menu. Comfortable, clean room. The bathroom had a design flaw of placing the door an inch from the toilet when swung open. Middle of the night trip, without turning on a light, means you can smack an elbow or nose on the handle. Staff was very friendly. Unfortunately I seem to be running into an issue of not having a hot tub available for relaxing after the days drive. If this trend continues I may have to switch to a different chain. Fourth BW we have stayed in and only the Lincoln, Ne. had a working tub.

Stayed at this Best Western because of price and location. Really close to the Ford museum and Greenfield Village. Numerous places to eat besides the restaurant at the hotrl. Enjoyed happy hour with half price drinks. Room was nice and clean.. large indoor pool and lovely gazebo.

We stayed here to attend a family reunion in Melvindale and to visit family in Allen Park. This location was a perfect location for us. Hotel room was very clean. Check in/out was simple and quick. Parking was gated at night which gave us a sense of security.

What started out as two people coming to the Hotel to revisit Greenfield Village and Henry Form Museum after fifty one years comes back as a Homage to the late Aunt and Uncle who brought me there when i was ten. 8 more relatives join in on this fun filled trip. We love this hotel, but the restaurant needs more help. Hands down that was a small problem since they bent over backwards to please. I give this two thumbs up. The hotel bus will take and pick you up from the Henry Ford Museum. Lots of fun! Thanks Best Western!

Excellent place to stay while visiting the local museums. Clean, comfy rooms at a reasonable price for the area. Huge pool, nice restaurant. We didn't see all of the local museums so we will be back and we will stay here again.

I would definitely stay there again. In fact, I am expected to have more meetings in Detroit and I definitely DO plan to go back there. Nice place, clean, safe, attractive, good restaurant .... all in all, a great place to stay on a business trip.

Place is outdated in terms of business travelers' needs in the room. We had some paperwork to do, but not enough room for two people to work together. Beds are comfortable and rooms are quiet. Location is convenient by I-94. Restaurant is convenient for hours, good value for food, and service.

Excellent location for Detroit activities. Drove into downtown for a Tigers game on Friday evening and it 15 minutes at 5 pm. Spent next day at Henry Ford Museum and literally 5 minute drive. Again GREAT location right off I-94 at exit 206. We paid $103 for a King bed room. It is an old style hotel that you can tell they have put some $$ into. Modern flat screen, bed super comfy, and bathroom redone as well. Not perfect, but we will definitely stay here again when visiting our daughter in the D. :-)

I stayed at the Greenfield in for 5 nights while attending a conference at the Henry Ford. You can't miss it - it is large, pink, and visible from the highway. It appears to be stuck in the 70s and badly in need of a decor upgrade. My room was very clean but had a funny perfumed smell every day that I found unpleasant. Comfortable bed with plentiful pillows and good quality linens. Great internet. Loved the Bath and Body Works toiletries. A fine budget choice.

I stayed at this property with my family for a weekend.It is conveniently located of I 94 and is in close proximity to Detroit or the Detroit International Airport.This is a large hotel that has several room choices. We stayed in the 2 Queen bed room. It was nicely appointed and the room has furnishings that replicated antique furniture.The beds were comfortable and the climate control worked well on this hot weekend.The lobby was updated and was inviting.The hotel is adorned with hundreds of pictures of vintage cars on the walls given its proximity to Ford Museum. The staff were helpful and positive.The pool is huge and there are at least 20 tables to sit at around the pool. This is one of the nicer pools we have seen .It has a deep end of 8.5 feet and there are no lifeguards. The stay was positive and I would recommend it .

The room in this hotel was standard Best Western -- Could have used a little rehab,but was ok. We were part of a group and had dinner in the restaurant. My food was totally cold (other people who got their food later had hot food). Since there were three choices, I have the feeling that they prepped a bunch of food and then plated it for the first bunch of people. I complained to the waitress and all she said was sorry. My steak was paper thin and well done, although I asked for rare. Overall, not a good meal. The breakfast food was cold -- sausage and bacon were burnt as well.

Pink Palace is wi/fi password. Pretty decent place. Easy to get confused with hallways and stairways. Pretty good breakfast. Nice little bar area, bartender Mary was very nice. Decent selection of local beers.

It's always been a pleasant stay and they react to any of my concerns I may encounter. The hotel is a older but nice and pleasant. It is convenient to a mall and restaurants. We been staying for a long while and had some issues but they have been always handle professionally.

A diamond in the rough. I couldn't believe how beautiful the entire hotel is. Outdoor gazebos, gas grill, Pet friendly, Koi pond w/ turtles- it just goes on and on. The staff are just wonderful. I can't imagine any way to improve this hotel. Great restaurant, clean, comfortable rooms- I slept better than I have in years !! Maybe it was the nightly walks around the lighted gazebos. For a pet friendly, and plenty of smoking areas- this place is cleaner than any other hotel I've stayed in. I will be back....

My granddaughter and my stay at Best Western Greenfield Inn, Allen Park, Michigan was very comfortable and enjoyable. We found the staff to be very helpful and extremely pleasant. I will definitely be a returning customer in the not-to-distant future.

Restaurant staff and barman very efficient and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Great hotel. We were attending a function in Ann Arbour and found location convenient with easy access back to the highwayl.

Generally speaking a nice Motel, very quiet, clean, well maintained, and very good service. Employees were very helpful and friendly with giving area wide information as well as directions to area restaurants.If additional bathroom supplies were requested there was no hesitation in satisfying the customer, Staff were well trained and professional.

Great hotel to stay at. 20 minutes from Comerica Park to see Tigers baseball game. Rooms nice, bed and pillows nice, pool is nice but hot tub closed off. 50% drink coupon nice touch. Cookies offered on check in.

Very nice hotel! Big room, great air conditioning. Love the 3 gazebos. Huge pool. And pet friendly. Can't believe they still have rain kissed leaves shampoo and lotion and bar soap. Just love that! No free breakfast, but there is a bar/restaurant on the property. We didn't eat there overall great place!

Very well maintained, modern, very clean. There is a nice indoor pool, good restaurant and very helpful employees at the front desk, maintenance, shuttle drivers and housekeepers. I've stayed here several times and will stay here again. Quite pleased with the entire experience.

My family always stays at the pink hotel! We have tried to stay other places but always return to the pink palace. Excellent customer service from every staff member. Clean, quiet, nice amenities. Mugly's bar/restaurant that's attached is so nice to have.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. First was 10 yrs ago and wanted to come back and see Ford Museum and other things again and def wanted to stay here. It is like being in a museum with all the pictures between each of the doors. You could spend a long time on each floor. The doors are also very pretty as well as the rooms. Don't be fooled by the outside, this is a very large place. Highly recommend for everyone and you want be disappointed. Also has a restaurant on premise that is very good and reasonable. Only negative was we did not like the beds, needed replacing in our rooms.

The hotel has some things that are very good. The lobby felt like going back into time to a slower pace with chairs that reflect that they are close to Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum. Rooms are comfortable and clean, although the room thermostat should be upgraded because it's hard to see in low light and the switch is confusing. Most of the staff shows they care about the customer and welcome you with open arms. However, there are a few things that visitors should look out for. First, if you're arriving late at or leaving early from DTW, the airport shuttle ends at 10pm and doesn't start again until 7am. We had to pay $30 to get to the hotel with a cab. Second, one of the front desk people tried to find us a bank in the area and sent us to an office building with no branch there because none of their locations is in the Detroit area. Third, the pool was closed when we got in. There was a note saying they had to upgrade the facility. A front desk clerk told me that it would reopen at 3pm. It was still closed and later told me it was going to open at 4:30pm. When it wasn't open, I asked her to phone my room to make sure I know that the pool has reopened. Instead of calling my room, they called another room. Just those three things made the visit not enjoyable. I booked this through Hotwire and hope that they put that information on its website more clearly.

We had a good stay here. Hotel is clean, and the restaurant is very good. Not the best hotel as far as quiet...we could hear each door closing around us. Excellent shuttle service to the Henry Ford. Just a caution...hotel is sort of isolated so there isn't an opportunity to take a casual walk.

This is a very nice quaint hotel located right off the freeway. Very secured location. However, due to the timing of the season we were not able to control the temperature of the room - darn near frozen to death. The staff was very pleasant and provided a couple of blankets but sleeping both nights was extremely uncomfortable. This hotel does not provide the usual Best Western free breakfast - I guess due to an on-site restaurant. The breakfast prices were comparable to others in the area and the food was delicious. I don't plan to return to this hotel due to the heating/cooling situation.

This is a great value because the package includes the room, shuttle (saves on parking!), tickets to the attractions, breakfast, pool, and great service. The bed and linens are super comfy. The pool was crowded, but fun. The breakfast is not buffet, but still generous, hot and delicious.

This highly recommended, affordable hotel is staffed with very helpful professional staff. We were offered an excellent package deal to go visit the Henry Ford Museum (two tickets), shuttle, & two table waited good breakfast. Excellent overall & pet friendly to boot.

We chose to stay at the BW because it was the highest reviewed in the area with the best price. The hotel was interesting, the bright pink color certainly stood out when you drove past. The staff were friendly and the room was clean, I would say the maids could have been a bit more attentive, I had to request cleaning service in order for them to clean the room. Otherwise the stay was very nice, the internet was average speed but it allowed me to get my work done without issue.

Very very nice staff from check in to check out: Shannon is always prompt and friendly especially at 4am and her check out helper is furry adorable. The hotel is decorated with many unique items and each floor holds a different picture gallery. I love the old cars and pictures from the Henry Ford Museum. The hotel offers quick room service with really good salads.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The meals in the restaurant were excellent, and all of the staff were friendly and courteous. We had a shuttle available to us whenever we needed it which made our stay much easier and less stressful.

I need a comfortable bed, a quiet air conditioner, a Fridge with ice area, and a quiet room. I got all four. I just wished they had a hot tub spa. the in house restaurant was as expected. The bar was very good and made a good blended Margarita. In addition we were given coupons for the bar.

This place is awesome! It has that old school feel to it but the place is well kept and clean rooms! You can feel the history when you walk around the place. Love the decor as it adds to the history of the place and city. It has a awesome bar, restaurant and a lil store to buy food and supplies, it was perfect! Staff was really nice. The rooms have a mini fridge and microwave, which you can buy things to cook at their lil store which was very convenient. Room had very comfortable beds with a big flat screen TV that has satellite TV!!! It was very affordable, easy to get to and only 10mins away from the city. There's a shopping center 5mins away for all your shopping needs. It has a pool and spa in it to relax. A nice courtOverall this place was amazing and will be our go to place when we visit. Strongly recommend this place to anyone! Great job guys! You will be seeing us again! :)

Good place to stay in Dearborn, very comfortable. It has an excelent swimming pool. It is near NMPDC, Roush and Ford Facilities. HighWay to Detroit is really quick to take making it feels really close.

After seeing the images and reviews online, we were unsure upon arrival at the hotel. But our minds were quickly changed after seeing the room. Although the room was basic, it had everything we needed. The free wifi was definitely a bonus! We had a great night's sleep. Would highly recommend a visit to the Henry Ford Museum which is just around the corner.

After traveling 9 hours, Laurie welcomed us & allowed us to check in early & even provided vouchers for breakfast. We appreciate Laurie going out of her way to make our visit to the area pleasant. The hotel was clean & the staff was excellent. We had a had a great day at the Ford Museum & a nice stay at the Best Western.

I had requested a room on the top floor so that I could have a quieter room, and the clerk granted my request. She was friendly and professional. Although the hotel looks older, the room itself was comfortable. My room key didn't seem to work to gain access into the building, but there were several doors, so I was able to choose a door that was unlocked. Once I was in my room, I liked that there was a partial room divider to keep outside noise at a minimum (I had to get up at 3:30am). The room was super quiet, and I was very grateful. Everything was very clean and in good working order. The bed and pillows were comfortable, too. The only minor issue was when I left the hotel at 4:30am. The exit was closed off, so I had to go another way to leave the property which was a little confusing. Also, there was a strange odor in the elevator. Nevertheless, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

make sure you understand about the museum and village trips. If you take the two day tour you can only go to one place a day if you go to both in one day you will have to pay the second day. the person at the museum that took our voucher for the tickets did not explain that to us.We had to change our trip from a 2 day to a single stay

This is a Hotel that is economical and best value for price paid. Staff is excellent and very cooperative. The location is near Dear born and that is good for business. I recommend this to everyone coming this way. The Hotel is pet friendly.

This is a very large, sprawling hotel and I would need to stay there at least a week before I would feel confident about finding my way around. The room we had was very nice, but as always, one or two bad points overshadow dozens of good points. In this case the curtains would not close completely, leaving a 3-4 inch gap, and the aerator on the sink faucet was plugged, sharply reducing water flow. Small defects like this tarnish an otherwise gold medal experience. I have gotten used to great free breakfasts in BW hotels and paying $12 for French Toast and s slice of ham was enough to make me a bit grumpy, despite the good service.

I am always cautious about Best Western. Some are downright scary while others are a big surprise. Such was the case with the Greenfield Inn. The room was very clean, the staff was pleasant, the bed was ever so comfortable and it was quiet. We were part of a bus trip and some of our people were not pleased with the restaurant for dinner as the service was extremely slow and the food not that good. However, we did not eat, so it was no problem for us. The breakfast provided for our bus was excellent. Loved the pink color and the vintage furnishings which were all new as well as the carpet.

Very quiet and peaceful also very clean the pool was awesome as well the art on all the walls where very interesting, you should add some theme rooms that would be really cool like a safari or a beach room!!

Very clean spacious room. Was disappointed there was no breakfast. I was sure website said there was breakfast never heard of by without one. Pool was too cold to use and it was one of reasons we booked there.

Love the Pink Palace will visit there again. The food was great . The staff made it easy to check in and out. I will be coming back to stay there again in the near future. We had a blast to come back to a cozy nice room
