Best Western Airdrie

This is an older hotel in the old part of Airdrie. Called the hotel directly for a reservation to book an adjoining room. The staff was very helpful and prompt. When we pulled up I was a little concerned that we maybe hadn't made the best choice of places to stay, but was pleasantly surprised. Check-in was quick and easy, I had done it only minutes before online and showed up earlier than planned but the keys were ready to go. The front desk girl was friendly and quick. Rooms were very spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The price was very good considering the size of the room and the fact that we had 2 adjoining rooms. Would recommend.

We have stayed here a couple of times this year. We found it to be very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the courtesy breakfast every morning of our stay as well. Overall, a very positive experience.

Outside entrance for my pet, Parkade was very inconvenient and a pain to haul luggage from and very limited parking close to the building. The breakfast buffet could have been hotter but i was up late. Good selection and fresh fruit

Rooms are very clean, shower was as good as at home, usually water just trickles out, Mattress is never like at home. Daytime Check in lady, Bonnie, very personable, professional and helpful with all questions. Good breakfast. Good price.

Easy check in and check out. Great breakfast. Hot and cold options. Easy to get to. Close to Cross Iron Mills. Hotel was a bit older, but everything was clean and in working order. I would stay there again.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. Breakfast was great, the best I've ever had from all hotels I've ever stayed at, good variety and selection of both hot/cold foods. Was at this hotel for 6 nights and have no complaints. Staff was great, room was clean, room services excellent. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Great value for the money, pleasant staff, good location and full breakfast. Very Clean, quiet atmosphere pub had some cool different menu items with friendly staff and many on tap choices. Only downside non of vending machines where stocked.

Hotel was close to some restaurants and fast food places. Staff is friendly and rooms were clean. I find the cost of a hotel room outrageous really, for any hotel. It definitely limits the time families can get away together, in my opinion. This hotel also puts a $50 damage deposit on your card. The breakfast was decent, lots of variety of items and a waffle maker.

This property was not up to the usual Best Western standards. The elevator doors had to be pushed shut before taking us to the wrong floor. When flushed, the toilet leaked onto the tile floor. The 16 inch TV barely had any working channels, the hot tub was closed, "for repair" and the as advertised Italian Restaurant was not onsite but there was some vague explanation about sharing a kitchen. It felt as if they were trying to push guests into the gambling lounge. We checked out after an hour.

Clean hotel and complimentary breakfast go a long way. Found out pets are welcome and that will definitely help making my mind up when I choose to bring my dog. Lots of restaurants around and other shopping close by.

I am a Swim Coach with the Special Olympics Swim Team From Grande Prairie and the Staff at the Hotel made out team feel welcome and they treated us like family. The Breakfast Hostess took time to sit and talk with our athletes and the Satff even made a sign congratulating our atheletes on the Swim Meet best experience we have had at a Hotel would recommend for everyone to stay here. The rooms are clean and staff very freindy and helpful.

Rooms were clean and cleaned every day. Service personnel were amazing. Beds a little soft for my liking but comfortable. Restaurant service and food good. Great internet. Definitely will stay again. Thank you

This was a great hotel for the price. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. The free breakfast options were quite limited, but well stocked and the breakfast attendant was friendly. Due to proximity to the QE2, it was a tad bit loud but that's to be expected. Overall a good stay.

staff was very helpful and quickly responded to my requests. a number of times, i've asked for teabags, surgar and bags for my trashcans (i never requested for housekeeping services) and they responded instantly!

The staff was very helpful and accommodating! The elevator was down which is no big deal stuff happens but then I found out from reviews it's been for almost a month. My first room I was in had a broken window and it was stuck open so they changed my room and I was put in a joint room with a couple on the other side (enough said there) i could hear everything in all the rooms around me. Went to go have a shower before I left and after I was wet I figured out my shampoo/conditioner/lotion we're already used, I was in a rush to leave so I just left that one alone. Went down for breakfast and my coffee was awful, apple juice smelled fermented like the machine hadn't been cleaned and my yogurt was expired. Over all it was a very unpleasant experience and so not worth the price gouge they have the rooms set at. I got a queen room for one and it was $150 down to $123 with my ama discount.

Stayed for 2 days. Great breakfasts - lots of variety for the hot food selections. Very clean, comfy beds, shower worked well. Helpful and friendly staff - knew the area well and could direct us to many of the good restaurants

We paid $30 for a small non-shedding dog quiet dog that was kennelled when we left the room and when we were asleep. The same price someone would pay for a large hairy dog or cat. We feel since there is a waiver and damage deposit that people travelling with well behaved dogs and responsible owners should pay less if the pet does not cause damage or extra work for housekeeping.

This hotel is nice, the beds are comfortable, we were on the second floor and had a private balcony, but not all balconies are private. Unfortunately the elevator was out of order as well as the whirlpool therefore if you have back issues, this is not the place for you right now.

Tired, old and total lack of attention to detail. Ownership needs to step it up. Lounge worker had terrible attitude. But the breakfast bar lady and front desk staff were very friendly. Lobby and breakfast bar have been nicely renovated but the rest of the hotel needs attention.

A very sticky room door made me think I was going to get trapped in the room if the door handle came off. The room was overly warm and AC was not sufficient in such a large room. Rooms were very old. Needs an update.

Big disappointment! Should have stayed at the other best western (airport area) hotel. Preferential treatment is given by the Breakfast server so I gathered one has to be a friend of hers to get treated with a plateful of waffles which being a hotel guest does not matter to her. Overcharged for a two night stay and we had to buy our own hair dryer which they did not have one in the room we stayed.

My sister and I stayed at the Best Western for three days and really appreciated the quality of service. Our room was well equipped with a kitchenette as well, which was super helpful! They also let us check out at a later time to accommodate our needs. Had a great time!

All the staff were friendly and helpful right down to the cleaning lady and maintenance man. The room was clean, there were lots of towels. Breakfast was hot and delicious and there was a server to help with breakfast making sure nothing ran out, helping with the waffle iron.

We were there for a curling event. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The restaurant was excellent and the lounge staff were great. The location was also super convenient. The hotel was also very accommodating with our requests

The location of this hotel is great weather you are going to Calgary or Edmonton. The hotel is not new but it is clean and the staff are excellent. The free Breakfast convenient and is worth staying for too. If you are looking for a nice clean place to stop that is steps away from everything you need while taking a road trip. Stay Here!

Friendly, courteous staff. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Loved having a fridge and microwave in the room. Restaurants very close proximity to the hotel. Lots of seating available for the morning complimentary breakfast.

The room needs a major renovation and upgrade. The toilet bowl not flushing at all. The bed and linen feels dirty and dusty. Dog's fur on the comforter. Room is also smelly. Breakfast selection was disappointing too. Will definitely not going back to this hotel.

Whether you plan to stay here short term or long term the staff will most definitely make you feel at home. I have stayed in many hotels over the course of my lifetime but this place beats them all. From the moment my wife, daughters and 3 little dogs and i walked in we were greeted with the most friendliest of smiles. And honestly it only got better from there. The staff are so friendly and polite and really go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. My family and I had originally planned to stay at this hotel for a week, maybe 10 days maximum. However we made the decision to stay longer, not only because of how centrally located this hotel is to everything (and i really mean everything), or how great of a rate we had got BUT mainly because of how welcoming each and every member of staff were. I believe customer service is everything but I have to say that these gal's/guy's really did go above and beyond and my family and I are truly grateful for that. Thank you Best Western Airdrie you really did make our stay feel like home.

Starting out, the staff is frankly amazing. Maria at the front desk is helpful, patient and understanding. She went so far out of her way to ensure I had options for dining, going as far as to obtain as many COVID-compliant menus as possible for me during my stay. She was the first of my highlights. Second, the room was beautiful. It wasn't otherworldly, but I only stayed in a basic single Queen room. It was so clean, I had absolutely no concerns about the housekeeping. Immaculate, despite being a tiny bit aged. But the upkeep on it would have you second-guessing even that statement. The A/C worked great, the bathroom was clean and inviting, the tub was deep and way too inviting not to use. The beds are a perfect medium, the pillows wonderful, and the amount of blankets bordering extravagant. It's a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure of comfort. I didn't have to ask for a single thing; it was all already there as if they were knew, and were expecting me. It's a quiet, sweet place to get away. And the breakfast is great too. For my stay, I enjoyed a variety of things; Hashbrowns, toast, omelets, yogurt, fruit, waffles, coffee, juice-- Pretty well anything that can satisfy you in a morning was available and cooked well, with all of the condiments you'd expect, plus Louisiana Hot Sauce, which happens to be one of my favorites. Speaking of breakfast, the delightful lady serving it is a treasure. I wish I caught her name, but I was too caught up in what she'd prepared to remember to ask.

For a non expensive hotel it was a truly great experience. I recommend if not want to spend hundreds of dollars a night to use best western just remember to sign up for rewards when you do. Thank you best western keep it up

Airdrie Best Western was a great place to stay. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Everything was in good working order and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The lounge served good food for a reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel staff was friendly and willing to help as much as they could. I was able to get a good nights sleep. The reason for only two stars is the shape of this hotel. It needs renovations throughout the building BIG TIME. The hallways were super narrow. At first, it appeared my room door wouldn't shut but upon further inspection it did. There were stains on the wall and the showers could use an upgrade. The fitness centre is in the basement unfortunately, but that was OK with me. Champions Restaurant is good food and great service. The hotel needs an upgrade in a big way, so unfortunately I won't be returning until there is one.

Great hotel, wonderful staff, and nice rooms. Top priority in maintaining cleanliness of their rooms and excellent customer service and satisfaction. Would recommend to anyone coming for a pleasant stay or vacation in Airdrie. Keep up the great work and thank you for a truly wonderful stay!

The hotel was quiet and comfortable. The reception staff was friendly and there are plentiful to go breakfast options. Definitely would recommend staying on the top floor if you wish to have quiet and undisturbed sleep.

They are not professional, was not clean, did not have sheets on one of the beds, and I was not treated good my problems were not addressed I was spoken to with a raised voice and also had to scrub and clean the room myself of course to stay clean for covid when I saw black drips on the walls and sticky orange stuff on the bathroom counter and stains on the toilet bathtub and night table and doors I had to go buy cleaner and scrub the room, I was told when I called to tell all this "that room was just cleaned mam" and so they wouldn't even bother coming to look, and there so much more but that's the basics of my stay.

The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming. Due to covid protocol the hottub was closed. The fridge made a loud noise withing the cabinet we had to unplug it both nights in two rooms. Rooms were clean and bright but really hot, however the AC took care of that. This is not a holiday destination but is good for passing through. We would stay again

We stayed in Airdrie BW for a business trip. It was clean and affordable. Staff were very Covid minded. It was stocked with everything we needed. Had a bag hot breakfast that was really good. Would stay again.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. In today's pandemic situations I felt very safe staying here. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Many food options close by.

This was a cheap stay on the way to Edmonton. We checked in late and checked out early so we did not use any of the facilities. But the place was clean enough and staff checked us in quickly. There are bunch of restaurants in the vicinity as well. It is close to the highway so you do hear the traffic quite a bit.

The staff are very nice and willing to help. Aside from mice being in our hotel room the whole stay... the room was clean upon entry and the staff were really good aside from one just dismissing the mice running in our room.

Room dated beds were soft bedspread not washed in ages noticed stains on it when leaving carpet could use good cleaning grab and go breakfast adequate during these times smoke drifting in from other guests smoking right outside their rooms so we could not open window

The staff is amazing! Michael and the other lady that now I forgot the name were the best! They helped us relly quickly, even we just showing up between their shift change. The rooms were clean, the shower was warm. I love that in the grab and go they didn't give muffins like all the BW, besides that they offer a croissant!

We chose this hotel for our last night in Canada as it's not too far to travel to the airport. The breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs, hash browns etc and the staff pleasant. The building looks rather grim from the outside, but they are currently updating the interior so don't be put off.

The hotel is located in a good location, easy access to Deerfoot. The hotel was clean but is outdated and needs some renovations. In our originally booked single king room, our tv remote did not work and the water to our toilet had been shut off. The staff brought us a new working remote right away and then moved is to a double queen room when we realized the toilet didn't work. For a single night stay, it was an average hotel that did the job.

The service was good, the room is clean but there is construction going on which make the elevator not functioning. The receptionist was very helpful and check in and check out is fast. i will recommend this hotel

Stayed in wing area of hotel. Floors cold, heating system very noisy,two lights in room,noisy and elevator broken in main area. Changed rooms at 1 in the morning because of the noise factor with heating system and neighbors had visitors every half hour until we could not take it any more. Changed rooms to main part of hotel, elevator broken so had to carry stuff and dogs up 3 flights of stairs.

Stayed here in October while working and loved it!! Koss and the staff are top notch, room was spotless. I found the rates very reasonable. Will definitly stay here in the future and highly recommend.

IT is a pleasure to stay at this facility every time we are in the area. Having a lounge onsite is a great bonus for those of us that would like an alcoholic beverage with a meal and not having to drive.

We were looking for a central location to visit southern Albert's. We had previous experience with this hotel and it fitted our requirements 200% Our stay was do successful that we stayed longer then originally planned

When getting into Airdrie we weren't too sure if we want to stay in this small town, but I am glad that we did. We had checked into the best western, and from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, we were accommodated to all our families needs. My hotel of choice is Best Western. Being just off hgy #2 I thought there would be noise issues but I was wrong. I got an excellent night sleep for an early flight. Housekeeping is very good and front counter staff were excellent.

A very nice hotel, location is easy to get to and lots of parking available! Friendly service no matter where you were in the hotel! Nice clean comfortable rooms with very comfortable beds. The lounge is nice and clean with friendly service. Thank you for your hospitality!

Our experience at this hotel was excellent because we were checked in by a professional, polite customer service-oriented employee! She changed our room to meet our specific needs then suggested a superb restaurant for supper. She was fantastic! The hotel is a little older but it has all new carpets, is clean & breakfast was good. And the price was right!

I stayed at the Best Western Airdrie for about 3 weeks on a business trip. I also booked one of their conference rooms for another 2. Every single person working there was absolutely wonderful. I really felt at home and I enjoyed talking with any of the staff either from the front desk, Khos (the general manager) or anyone else in the hotel. Anything I needed and they were more than happy to help me. Being from Montreal I was talking about how I miss some of the food from over there and she suggested a restaurant to me (even printing me the entire menu and delivering it to my room!) The hotel is not the fanciest place but it was remarkably clean, exceptionally friendly and overall just felt like home. If ever I were to stay in the area again, this is my first choice. I want to thank everyone again for a wonderful stay! Alex Saad

Great value and good location. Off the highway but far enough that you don't get any noise at night. Clean .... lots of towels. Only complaint was that the room was abit warm and we couldn't adjust the temperature down so we had the air conditioning on all night. Breakfast was fine but the coffee was not good at all.

Staff is so friendly and accommodating! Rooms are very clean and well stocked. Enjoyed the full breakfast every morning. Location is within walking distance to many restaurants but not in a noisy area. Will definitely be staying here again if we're back in the area.

The Breakfast was not enjoyable. Coffee was terrible. Had booked a room for 5 people, expected a pull out couch - did not get one. Power goes out when you use the hairdryer. Don't really recommend this hotel.

The room was clean and the linens were not scented. After 11pm the hotel became quiet and we slept well. This is a funny Best Western. There are areas that seem to be updated and areas that have not. There is significant sound transmission through the windows and we could hear people in the hallway and in other rooms. There is a lot of detritus in the parking garage and the driveway behind the building. The reason I was looking at the alley was because I could hear a car running and was wondering where it was. The staff were just great. When our door cards needed to be replaced the front desk clerk came up to make sure they were working (they were not, so he let us in with his key). There was a very good breakfast with the meat and egg dishes separate. The flask of hot water had only been used for hot water and they had fresh fruit.

We went down for breakfast 30 minutes after it opened. There was very little food available. Hot options included a bit of oatmeal, a spoonful of scrambled eggs and 4 sausages. The waffle maker was available but there was no batter. Dry cereal was available but there was no milk. There was no juice, water or coffee!!! The seating area was fairly full and some patrons had obviously talked to the front desk staff about the situation as a male worker told us “she's coming”. (A woman was at the front desk with this man and they were not looking after any guests.). When “she” arrived 5 minutes later, neither of the front desk staff helped her get the breakfast going quickly so that guests could begin their day. In fact, he came to get some juice for himself and took it back to the front desk where they stood talking. When “she” left to get more food, the woman from the front desk joined another hotel worker in the breakfast area. They complained about the breakfast area worker in front of the guests but did nothing to help with the situation. Our room was clean but dated. Several of the electrical outlets did not work and it was difficult to charge electronics so that they were ready to go in the morning.

Great stay! Comfortable and clean. Have stayed at a few other hotels around the area that are newer but this one is just as good and way better price. Breakfast a lot better too. Would recommend if travelling through or wanting to stay closer to cross iron. Better than staying in city and paying high prices

It was very convenient right on the highway 2 and easy access to Calgary. Staff was friendly and nice clean property, I had used my reward point on this location and they treated me same as others guest ..

Great location for Airdrie/Calgary at a great price. I bought an entertainment coupon book and it had lots of restaurants in Airdrie. It was close to all the popular attractions in Calgary but avoided driving in the city.

Great service and extremely friendly staff! Room was clean and beds were comfy what more could you ask for? Breakfast wasn't wonderful but it was what you expect from a continental breakfast. Hot food was hot. Good value for money in a convenient location.

This is a nice hotel with very helpful & kind staff. Rooms are clean & good working order. Beds very comfortable. It's close to a few restaurants, our favorite was Paul's Pizza, had good food & good service, and cost is good. Across QE2 is a good Chinese food restaurant also. Our room was daily cleaned, which was nice bc we like to sleep in & usually left around 1 or 2pm and came back to a clean room. I recommend this place. The location was good & a short distance into Calgary. Thank you.

Very nice check in, very nice staff, the room was almost perfect, (the door was hard to open and close), room was clean bathroom was clean, no bad odor, hotel near lots of restaurant and stores, quiet hotel, good beds, breakfast ok, lots of parking.

This was the first time I stayed at a Best Western Hotel and first time in Airdrie. I work in the same field but of different brand, I would say that the front desk staff- Maria did great attending to us and our needs, also had me signed up for their rewards program. The room was clean and the breakfast was great as well. I was able to use the hot tub at 10:45PM which was nice since I really needed it after a long day- driving and going around the city on a Stampede weekend. Overall, it was a great stay though the rate was a bit high than regular days, pretty understandable though coz of the event in Calgary. Would have been nicer if there's a pool but no complaints.

My friend and I stayed form July 3 to 10th, 2019 in Room 212. They have some of the nicest and friendliest staff that I have ever encountered at a hotel. From the housekeeping manager Collette, the General Manager, front desk staff and the very efficient young man manning the breakfast room, ALL were fantastic. My friend needed assistance with her computer and the General manager was so helpful to her that she was able to work stress free. Comfortable beds, nice products provided in the bathrooms, clean rooms, delicious variety at breakfast, wonderful staff... I can go on and on. Thanks for a great stay and we will be back for sure!

Greeted by the most helpful and friendly staff at any of the many Best Westerns that we stay at. Wonderful mattress perfect firmness. But its the staff that will have my wife and I coming back! THANKS for true hospital;ity!

Great value and just off the high way so very easy to get to. Every staff member I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. For a free hotel breakfast it was great. Has a nice hot tub but the gym is a little lack luster.

Awesome place to relax and regroup. Used the laundry facilities, appreciated that. Many restaurants with in walking distance.. Also awesome restaurant in the hotel. Very clean room and helpful staff. It feels like a home away from home.

After being refused a booked room at another hotel due to the fact that I did not have a credit card that would take the full charge on it and they would not accept cash or debit. BW was amazing and more than willing to help making sure I wasn't forced to sleep in my car!!

Excellent hotel This was an unexpected stay on visit to Calgary and we were very pleasantly surprised with the excellent stay that we enjoyed. The friendly staff could not do enough to assist us with our many questions

We arrived late but were able to get a room on a Saturday night with two queen beds for my sister and I. The woman at the desk was very friendly and helpful and checked us in very fast. She explained the rewards program and signed us both up right there. So we were able to get the discounted rate on the room which we were very grateful for. The room was extremely clean and very quiet and we had a very peaceful stay. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

This modest property (dated exterior and low ceiling fans in the corridors) is actually a gem for us! We love the clean and comfortable rooms, the internet included, the breakfast, and the friendly staff. It meets our needs perfectly! It is where we stay while travelling near Calgary or in transit to another destination. The shower would be problematic for a tall person (eg. 6'2"+), but worked for us.

Since I was simply staying overnight by myself my requirements were pretty basic, so I based my choice of accommodation largely on price, and my expectations weren't that high. In the end the quality of stay was far better than I expected. I got an excellent rate, and that included a breakfast that exceeded the quality of many I've had in "higher class" hotels. The manager took the time to check with patrons to ensure their expectations had been met, and staff in general were friendly. I would't hesitate to stay here with the family next time we're in the area.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is very well situated in Airdrie. If you don't want to stay in Calgary, I recommend this hotel. Easy to get in and out of it is situated right next to Hiway 2. You can get to Calgary in minutes. The front of this hotel is obscured by a raised parking lot so is not all that appealing. However the hotel itself is nice. They have a generous front lobby that also houses the breakfast room. They do not have a restaurant but do have a lounge that serves snacks. My room was on the third floor and overlooked the back of a strip mall. If the weather had been clear I may have had a view of the mountains too! The room was spacious and, finally, a room with a chair that faced the TV. Well set up and clean. The bed was super comfortable and there was several pillows to choose from. There were some repairs needed to the towel rack and toilet paper holder in the bathroom but, other than that everything was functinal and clean. The breakfast was great. Oatmeal is my choice and they had a pot of this made. They also had the almonds and cranberries to add to it. Thumbs up for this. They also had a variety of hot foods with a waffle maker and toaster available. Juice, milk and hot beverages to drink. Very thorough! I had a few noise issues. A noisy pizza delivery driver car going in and out of the strip mall. This only lasted a few hours in the early evening. The other was a thoughtless guest speaking loudly outside my room at 5:30 in the morning. Both not really the fault of the hotel. I did not have any road noise from the nearby freeway. All in all an excellent stay.

We travel through here several times a year. We always stay here because we are treated so well. Every staff member we have dealt with has been very friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and quiet. The beds are good. We have always had a good night's sleep followed by a fresh hot breakfast.

If you are a group of ten, go elsewhere to dine, lounge service good but restaurant not so good.service, Continental breakfast was good, Front line workers good, . We were a group of ten to attend a funeral

We only stayed one night. Staff were very friendly. Room was comfortable I would stay here again. Easy to get to Cross Iron Mill for shopping. We enjoyed the make yourself waffles at breakfast The scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages were also enjoyed

Nice location, Appearance of the hotel is good. No pool, only hot tub available. Breakfast was good. Praveen at Front desk did good job. If the hotel able to do some interior upgrade much worth for their business.

The hotel was very good for the price. Having stayed at many Best Western this one is a place that I would stay again. The staff were very good as well. Room was comfortable as well, breakfast was available early in the morning which is very good as I miss most breakfast times.

We had our daughters wedding there and everything was absolutly awesome. We gave then a menu and the chef followed it to a tee - Food was great. I couldnt believe how everyone was so friendly and went out of there way for us from the manager to the housekeeping staff

For such a low price, this hotel was very updated and as modern as any new hotel. Only the lounge was outdated, but it still served really good food, and the waitresses were all super nice, helpful and efficient.

All the staff are very helpful and hospitable. The amenities and rooms are great. The weightlifting room also comes in handy whenever you want to work out. However the internet connection is pretty slow and could be improved. More breakfast options should also be made available.

Very nice place to stay the city of Airdrie is it nice town whenever we visit our kids in Calgary we always stay at the Airdrie Best Western we learn to like it appreciate it we like the service the people and the quality of the motel. We make two or three trips per year between Saskatchewan and BC. We find this hotel an excellent place to stop. Rooms are clean and quiet, the staff are friendly and professional and we always feel welcome.

Check in was not that great because upon check in we were asked to pay $50 for damage deposit while before reserving, the hotel.com customer service said that there was none. The hotel staff said that “if you wreck my hotel, it's not $50 that you are paying, it's $500. So I told him, why will we do that? He said because there were 3 families earlier and I thought you are with them. I told him, we are on our own. It seemed that he was already judging us just because he saw other people who have the same race like us. We knew this because we saw the families that he was talking about. The positive things about the hotel are it's soft beds and pillows. I like the shower too. The staff for check out was nice than the one in check in. Breakfast is great! There were Nutella spread that my children enjoyed.

The hotel has gone through some updates but there are lots of signs more is needed. Hotel exterior is dated along with the elevator and hallways. We almost cancelled the reservation but once in the room it felt like were were in a Best Western we became accustomed to. Room was updated and comfortable with a great bed. The bathroom fan was really loud and annoying. I tried to fix but it needed some maintenance. Staff were pleasant and accommodating but not overly friendly. There is a small casino close to the lobby and the traffic to it made it difficult for the staff to keep the lobby clean. The folks using the casino were back and forth outside taking smoke breaks and I would recommend moving the location.

This particular stay I only checked in for a quick nights rest prior to catching my flight in Calgary. The drive from this hotel to the airport is super quick and has a lot of breakfast (and coffee) options right outside if you are leaving prior to the free breakfast. The express check out was perfect as I was leaving the hotel at 4 AM, the front desk even offered to give me some snacks and water to have when I leave as the breakfast would not be open. I stay at Best Western any chance I get, whether it is 5 nights or 5 hours. I stayed here using my points and did not have any issues with booking or check out.

This is an older hotel, but the exterior has been refurbished along with the interior. There are new carpets through out in the halls and rooms. Rooms have been re-done also. There is a great pub downstairs with good food and drink. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast is very good. There is also covered parking.

Staff was very helpful and informative and the rooms were up to my standards. Bathroom had enough towels fo everyone. Check in and out was a breeze and the staff was so very helpful if you had an issues

We needed a stopover hotel while on a road trip, and this was perfect! The location was just off of Highway 2. The exterior and hallways (showing some mild wear and tear) may reveal this property's age a little bit, but this place met our needs for a clean (especially our guestroom, the lobby and the breakfast area), quiet, and comfortable (working HVAC system, functional and clean bathroom, wonderful bed) stay PERFECTLY. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. With the added breakfast (including pre-made omelettes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cereals, fruit, salsa, etc), the value was outstanding! We would stay here again without hesitation..

Nice breakfast included with stay (sausage, eggs, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, etc.). Older hotel that has some renovations done. Ample parking. Good pricing for the area. I gave lower service rating due to the wait for staff at front desk (~10 minute) - this is hopefully just a one time issue as the staff member noted he had to assist another guest upstairs.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on business. Check in was fast and easy. Room itself was good. Bed was clean and comfortable. Decent sized fridge and chairs were comfortable. Computer chair seemed a little worn, seat cushion was very thin and uncomfortable after a few minutes. Bathroom was clean and in good condition. Houskeeping staff were very attentive to details when cleaning the rooms. Television had a good selection of channels and reception was decent. Air conditioning worked well and was easy to use. Internet was ok. Usually would slow down and/or lose connection between 8-10 PM. Front desk would restart the modems upon request but problem would be back the next night. Parking was spacious and free. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and the food counter stayed full. Overall, the building looks a little tired, but it looks like they are completing renovations at this time. My room was clean and seemed newer as did the bathroom. Lobby and breakfast area were similar. Best price was achieved by calling the hotel directly. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional.

The staff at the front desk and the breakfast were very kind and helpful. Nonsmoking so that was a big help to us. It is close to Calgary and easy to get on the highway. Lots of places to eat in the area. Breakfast was included and that was great as we could get back on the highway sooner.

We just stayed at this hotel for three nights. The staff is welcoming and so accommodating. There is water with lemon and orange slices and iced tea available by the front desk all the time which was a nice touch. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, the hallways just smelled smoky for some reason even though all the rooms are non smoking, but this was minor. The breakfast was great and the staff was very on top of making sure there was always fresh food coming and they were very efficient at keeping the tables clean. One morning my kids didn't want to eat and we were in a hurry so we asked for grab and go bags and they gave us one for each of us which was super for our day out. Thank you Best Western Airdrie, we loved our stay!!!

Staff were all great people! Sometimes I'll get one good person at a hotel, but every staff member my wife or I spoke with were truly very pleasant to speak with, and went above and beyond expectations. Stephanie was one name my wife remembered as being exceptional.

The staff were nice, breakfast was great. The room on the other hand was not so good. It was one of the exterior rooms so people were always out smoking, which I get, and can deal with. When in the room I found 3 beer bottle caps, clumps of hair on towels (not ours), and little pieces of garbage everywhere. The door to get back into the main hotel to use the elevators was inoperable. We ask front desk and they said it must be batteries that need changing in the card scan but still wasn't fixed next day when we left so had to haul all of our luggage and coolers down three flights of stairs. Not easy when travelling with kids and everything we need to bring for them. I would recommend passing if you can, if your in a pinch, it's survivable for a night.

The room was ok , A/C worked, bathroom fan is messed up cover over the fan is just dangling just holding by 2 wires, elevator is sketchy and scary I chose to take the stairs. parking lot is a bit run down, I was told today by the front desk clerk that maintenance people plug the drain holes in the upper parking lot with water bottle and plastic bags to prevent from lower parking from flooding. Problem is upper parking lot was full of water on one side, I'm not happy because I had to pull my vehicle forward to load my bags and almost ruined my good pair of good dress shoes.

This hotel is disgusting. It smells bad, the rooms are in very poor shape. Parts of it were under reno, but you can tell this building was smoked in A LOT at some point. The little "casino" downstairs is nasty. Bar area is nasty. The bathroom was OK, the bed was new. The towels were older than old and rough and worn out. For an extra $10 I could have stayed elsewhere but... it had good ratings. How, I have no idea. It's a dump.

This facility is undergoing renos. This building is older than many of its competitors, has narrow hallways, low ceilings and is a bit on the dark side. Staff are very positive, breakfast was better than most and you got a good vibe when leaving. There are electronic one-armed bandits in the lounge if you care for that sort of thing.(I don't)

We can not recommend this hotel. The room was small. The furniture was most uncomfortable. The WiFi didn't work but I suspect this was an anomaly. What wasn't expected was that the TV package would be so poor. There was no Fox News channel and no golf channel and that was a given at all other BWers we stayed at while on the road for a month. There was a number of other annoyances but know the breakfast was very good - better than average. Know the parking lot is a little tight so unless there is alternate parking I wouldn't stay here with a trailer.

The room was old and we found hair in the sheets. The bathroom was so dark you couldn't even see yourself. The pillows sucked and it was hard to find the breakfast room. There is construction going on so front desk is a mess.

Car troubles led to an unplanned stay in Airdrie. From the call to book the room to the check-in to the checkout, the staff were cheerful, helpful, friendly, and efficient. They even made sure that I got the discount from my Best Western card by looking it up by email since I didn't have the card or number with me. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was good, with two egg options (scrambled and omelette), potatoes, and sausages, as well as waffles, cereals, and fruit.

Excellent facility to stay either short term or long. Manager and staff go out of their way to make sure your stay is just like home. Very clean hotel, staff who are always ready to lend a hand and provide you comfort or directions. Rooms are big with all necessities, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, AC, hair dryer, very comfortable beds . Everything is very well maintained. Very very clean, and I am very particular. Continental breakfast with a good variety. Within walking distance to stores, hair salons, restaurants, pharmacies etc. Manager is approachable, friendly and professional and treats his employees with the utmost respect. Customers are number one and staff go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel for business, weekend getaway, vacations etc. You will not be disappointed. This hotel is clean. The hot tub does not meet expectations however. The breakfast is good and the main reason we chose this hotel. Staff is friendly. Average hotel with a decent location. Would recommend for a quick stay but probably not a long one.

The Best Western in Airdrie let us keep our vehicle for a week in the covered parking lot for free while we caught a flight for a holiday. The taxi to the airport was quick and much cheaper than parking at the "Park and jet" or one of the other options. Another hotel we called was going to charge extra to keep our vehicle. It was especially nice to come back and not to have to shovel snow off the car. An added nice bonus was that TJ used his own vehicle to give us a boost when we found that our battery was dead! We will stay there again!

Stayed at Best Western Airdrie. We had a slight issue with the room and without hassle the manager resolved the issue immediately! Had a Great Stay. Was very impressed with the manager Farrah Dawood. Great customer service. Great location, close to the Airport. Definitely coming back.

Stayed here on the long weekend and it was amazing. Rooms are really comfy, nothing to complain about! they have a hot breakfast which is perfect and the service was great. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Very very easy to get to the airport... literally hop on and off from the highway. Best prices, very competitive! totally worth the stay.

Came to visit family and stayed with Best Western Airdrie. I must say that this was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The service was impeccable and the breakfast was so filling that you needed a nap right after. The lounge they have had such great food that you didn't have to leave the hotel at all. Great job to the team.

This is an older hotel. It served its purpose for us but there are more options for similar prices that are newer and nicer in the same area. Staff was not the friendliest. I was given different information over the phone than the information I was given at check-in so that was disappointing. Decent breakfast.

Friendly staff , a good hot breakfast , cereal. cakes . Scrambled eggs ,sausage etc . We were in the new renovated rooms . Nicely decorated and with big fridge and microwave . New mattresses and the rooms were good value

Room was so hot had to run A/C all day and night in November. AVOID the restaurant at all costs, absolutely the worst pub food I've ever eaten. Paid $ 30 for one meal and one to go. I realized later they only never even finished making the second meal and gave it to me to take any way b

The hotel was very clean and conveniently located and easy to find. There wasn't someone at the front desk when we first arrived but she showed up within 5 min from a break. The room was clean and well appointed the beds were very comfortable. We did find the room too warm and no way to turn the heat down. A hot breakfast was included with a waffle station , the cutlery was plastic which was a bit of a surprise. I stayed here a second time a couple of weeks later and didn't bother with the breakfast and made sure I opened a window overnight to make the room a little more comfortable even though the temperature went down to -1 .

Although the hotel says non smoking each time we came or left we had to walk through plumes of cigarette smoke at main entrance. Ashtrays and smoking area should be moved away from the guest entrance. Much to our surprise the room beside us was being renovated, coming for rest and relaxation was pointless with the work starting at 8 am next to us. The paint smell and noise of the machines was not something I expected when paying to stay at a hotel. Our room was recently renovated and was basic but clean. Complimentary breakfast was also basic. Next time I would stay elsewhere.

Enjoyed our stay at Best Western Airdrie. The price of the rooms were amazing compared to others in the area and what we received was better than the price we paid. The rooms were clean and met our needs. The breakfast was very good, the bacon was really great quality and things were fresh and restocked as needed. The breakfast area had lots of seats. Stayed over prior to going to cross iron mills for shopping so the location was ideal for this 10 mins away. Also multiple fast food options close by - handy for late evening arrivals.

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Tara and she was extremely helpful in answering any of our questions. The bed was comfortable and the room has been refurbished. The hot tub in the basement was great and very relaxing.

The Best Western Airdrie is an excellent hotel close to the Calgary Airport but not in a big city. The staff are welcoming to me and my dog. The neighbourhood is pleasant for walking my dog, and all services are close by. A good place to stay near Calgary!

Stayed overnight on expedia points. Never got a free upgrade and the hotel was about 1/2 full-lm a Platinum BW member. Hotel rooms were being upgraded-the room we had was upgraded-the poorest quality of upgrades l ever seen-too many to list. The breakfast buffet advertised was far from the standard BW buffet l've had at other BW's and I stay at BW's 95% of the time. Lots of other good hotels in the area for the same amount of money-cant see this one lasting if they don't improve what l just mentioned.

Rooms were clean. I loved the size of the king suite. Was nice to have a balcony attached to the room. Breakfast was so so and coffee was pretty weak. Attentive and helpful staff. Would say very good value for the price

The is a very average Best Western, and we were very disappointed with the quality of the hotel and the food. It was in a convenient location, but it's in need of renovations and their breakfast was cold and the fruit was spoiled.

our stay was horrible right from the get-go.starting with central booking ,arrival deplorable room etc etc furniture needs replacing-very soiled,carpets horribly stained from red wine so they told us,who knows?Lighting very poorespecially in bathroom.

Every time I stay here I am amazed that I'm actually getting five star service in Airdrie, Alberta! The rooms are always spotless, and I'm picky, and the staff are all friendly, attentive, extremely competent and always have a smile for you. They are currently undergoing renovations which ups the appearance but the staff make the experience. Obviously very well trained and managed. Stay with confidence!

Excellent value. Friendly staff. Breakfast was tasty. Superb price for what you get! We would definitely stay here again. The elevators were quick. There is an attached lounge and bar with a varied menu.

Booked a balcony room and when arrived we did not get a balcony room. We were told the reason was that we booked online and the front desk was not made aware of the request. They had no rooms available. I believe we were lied to as we checked in shortly after 3 pm. The hotel is being renovated and the quality if workmanship in the bathroom was poor. The caulking around the tub and fixtures was missing. The bathroom lightswitches were hidden behind the towels. Not much care and attention was paid to the details of the renos. The bed was comfortable, but needed more pillows. We did not contact staff for more after the poor response we got about the balcony room not being available.

Great place to stay. Rooms are being renovated. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Great value especially compared to staying in Calgary. Close to cross iron mall and about 20 minutes to the zoo! I would recommend this hotel.

The front desk staff are awesome !!! Clean room. Stayed on the second floor with balcony, no screen in the doors of any rooms that I could see ,also I think anyone can easily climb over each room divider on the balcony side....this was the smallest room I have ever stay in for a bestwestern hotel. The Jacuzzi is in the basement ,pretty basic not very strong Jets ,popped in to the casino found that was dark and dingy .....over all not impressed, don't think I'd stay here again

The hotel was good. It is undergoing renovations in the rooms. I could not recommend this hotel for motorcyclists as the parking lot was full of gravel from the potholes and was very slippery. as I was backing my motorcycle out of the parking stall my foot slipped and my bike went down. They need to resurface the parking lot ASAP

Air conditioner dated and noisy......stains on the carpets TV quite small and nothing fancy or wow factor about this hotel. Staff are great and helpful however the price shouldn't be over 85.00 per night since this hotel shows it's age.

I usually stay at the BW Airpirt Inn but checked out headed to Edmonton then had to unexpectedly stay another night and my usual stay was booked... so i came here. It is under remodeling now anf a much older property. First off i want to say the staff was FIRST CLASS. The breakfast was way better than most and bed was comfortable. Now the problem is this hotel was priced HIGHER than the PLUS im in now and the room is NOT equal to the cost. It was clean but this should be a 85.00 CAD per night room. Id give it another shot at 85 but NOT 130!

We found the hotel fine using our phone GPS. Check in went smooth. Our room was ok although there seemed to be a loud bass sound you could hear in the bathroom. We just left the fan on. The bathroom door did not shut properly nor did it lock. The bath is not a soaker tub as there is no slant in the back. I was wanting a nice bath after driving all day, but I couldn't have one here. The beds were fine, and the window overlooked the dirty alley. At least it is near a fabulous Vietnamese restaurant where we went for supper - we would not have found it otherwise. The breakfast was great and checkout was great as I was just sent a receipt by email. It is not a fancy place by any stretch of the imagination, but it was fine for us.

I wish I had all the employees names from the front desk supervisor Gary to the cleaning lady that kept asking me if me and my kids were happy and the room had enough towels and blankets. They were all amazing I've stayed in Best Western every chance I had but never had service like this. It started from the General Manager all they way down to the cleaning lady and kitchen staff. I just hope every Best Western would come and learn this great customer service.

The staff was very accommodating to us. They changed our room when we requested one with an exterior door. They also apologized when the elevator wasn't working in the morning. Although the room was small, it included all of the amenities that we required.

This isn't the greatest BW but we couldn't find much else with short notice and a long weekend. The hotel was in the midst of a reno so the lobby was full of boxes our room was missing a chair table? something to sit on. The elevator sounded rrrreally bad and on check out day it was out of order....what a surprise :0). sooo we had to haul our luggage down the stairs. TV is quite small room overlooked an alley...it's just an old place the only saving grace was the included breakfast bacon and eggs etc.

We have stayed here several times. Each time, we have been treated with courtesy , friendliness and respect. Staff is cheerful and helpful. The rooms have always been comfortable, quiet and immaculately clean. We travel through the area several times per year, and this is always our hotel of choice.

Stayed one night while on way to BC. Our room was upgraded and staff was excellent. This is an older hotel that ahs been renovated and they have done a good job. There is a lounge and restaurant right on site so one does not have to go out.

Not clean. Stay away , bathrooms not clean. This place is a dive with a big room of vlt slot machines downstairs skid row. Stay anywhere but here in airdrie. Not worth anything. Terrible old dated run down.

Good Value. Was very satisfied. Was up graded to a suite? The Hotel was very hard to locate. Needs better signage on highway to direct to hotel. Overall experience was very good once we found where you were located.

Everything lives up to BW standard. Standard room lay out, large washroom, clean bedsheets and towels. The air con is a bit outdated and loud, but provide sufficient cold air. I can tell that the bathroom tub tile wall was renovated, but in a "cheap" way. Doesn't look good but I guess it does the job? FYI - We stayed on 3rd floor in a room with 2 queen bed

This is a tired old hotel. The staff are very pleasant, but this hotel really does need an upgrade. We saw that they were doing some renovations, but can not be sure when it will be completely finished. You may want to wait until the reno's are done before trying it.

Get deal. Great staff. Although my bed was like sleeping on a rock formation. A little to hard for my liking. This hotel is in the mist of a major renovation. Be prepared. This hotel is really starting to show it's age.

a hotel in an upgrading situation with new installations in rooms hallways. a great breakfast to get your on your way a staff that is caring at the desk with a great staff, especially in the bar. would recommend this place to most any traveler.

Wanted very much to like the hotel, but it is a tired hotel in need of an update with very friendly, helpful staff keeping it going. Room was comfortable and breakfast very good. Elevator was out during overnight stay and we were on the 3rd floor. To compensate, staff offered to assist with luggage to our room. That said, would stay here again.

Nice room with comfortable bed. Professional staff.Being so close to Calgary I suspect many people might pass it by, but there is good value for the price here and the hotel is a s good as any Best Western you'll find anywhere.

This hotel looks like it was a run down dump that BW just threw some paint at it to make it look good. They fell short by far. Holes in the wall around the Air Conditioner, In room internet doesn't work, fixtures fell off the wall VERY POOR

The hotel was wonderful. The staff was super friendly and the room was excellent. Super soft bed and pillows and very quiet. The room was very cheap in comparison to other hotels we stayed at over the course of the Road Trip. We stayed here very briefly while passing through Calgary. Are room was located at the end of a hall...although construction was going on it was quiet...paint smell and dust in area. Good continental breakfast access to eating area was through the bar video lottery terminal area decrepit....lounge

Renovations are in progress but completely not bothersome to guests. Excellent customer service. Good location. Breakfast was BW norm and good as always. Would definitely stay again when passing through.

Arrived late at night due to a delayed flight. Greeted by a pleasant clerk despite the hour. Room had a blocked sink and room clerk provided us with another room without delay. The hotel appears to be under renovations and once finished should be a very nice place to stay

The location off highway 2 provides perfect access to everything in the area. Service is friendly but amenities are scarce. Breakfast was good ! Surprised to see off track betting in the lounge and I think I got a glimpse of slots. The stay was comfortable but I could not get over the tired appearance. We'll be back in the area but will probably stay at that brand new place just up the road.

Close to Calgary and the mountains without the hustle of the big city. Great staff , good breakfast included. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone I know. Great value for the money

The staff are very nice and helpful with any concerns you may have . They even will pack you a little grab bag if you didnt have time to eat before you leave . I really liked the pillows and sheets on the bed s. There was no freezer in fridge in my room but staff was more then happy to putmy freezer bags into a freezer for me . I have not stayed in any hotel besides this place and see no need to change .

Rooms were clean and newly renovated. Service was excellent. Supper in the lounge was great. Renovations going on but did not effect us. Check in and out was quick and efficient. Would recommend this hotel. Price much better then in Calgary

We picked this hotel because it was relatively close to the airport and the photos showed outside room entrances (dog owners know). Imagine our surprise when we got there to see all the outside rooms were hidden behind giant garbage bins. So they are 'renovating' a Best Western one-star to what they imagine will be a Comfort Inn Suites, but really, its too late for this old, weary, dated, smelly hotel. You can't polish a turd. so here is a list for those still reading: - Initially, we asked the gentleman manning the front desk where there might be a dog park, and he returned one of those 'Faulty Towers' grins - he either had no clue or his english was so bad that he didn't understand. We figured the former. He said there was a strip in the front - which was literally a 2 foot strip of grass in front of the main drag. - we were dragging a U-Haul and there was no parking anywhere that we could see - just an underground parking area with some elevated parking above it, with a steep incline. Ain't going to happen - gentleman at front just repeated the Faulty Towers grin. - So we were put on the second floor. One tiny, tiny, noisy elevator that threatened to die every time we used it - just big enough for their trolley. The corridor was no better - narrow and dark, with the nasty old carpets covered with plastic, because most of the rooms were getting replastered with texture. Yum. - the room was no better. cramped, filthy windows, drywall patches on the walls, - one can forgive some of this stuff, and the front staff did their best, but really - it appears someone bought this thing and is doing a nickel and dime reno job on an old beater. But the absolute kicker is the 'lounge' - where at the front entrance, highlighted by a spotlight, is a painting of a chimpanzee smoking a cigar. What century are we in? Tacky, tasteless and vaguely racist.

We stayed for the month of April 2017. The staff we met (Gary, TJ, Amy and Collette) were all so pleasant and kind and assisted us with whatever we needed. Some rooms are being renovated but the noise and disruption were kept to a minimum during our stay. Hot breakfast each morning was tasty and convenient - good start to the day. Super comfy beds. We got bumped up to a higher floor so we could enjoy the mountain views (#328) during our stay. The manager, Farah, and all the staff were all so kind and friendly from day 1 to day 30. Lots of room for RV parking in the back. What puts this Hotel as one of the best for us is how they all loved our little dog, Bruzer. Thankyou...you made us all feel like family. If in the area, we will definitely return.

We always stay at Best Western Hotels. This hotel is old, tired in need of a good renovation. Our room had unfinished drywall on one wall, missing a desk,couch,and only one chair. Pubic hair in sink and bathroom not from Us, uncomfortable pillows, the whirlpool in basement jets are broken, I had a shower there was no rubber matt in tub I slipped and fell out of tub bruised My side. I mentioned this to front desk He gave Me a $50 gift card. Which was nice as it was a accident. Breakfast stops at 9:30 We missed out. Elevator is dated bounces when You are in. The hotel is clean but worn out Disappointed for Best Western.

This was our second time staying here, the staff are wonderful! Every single person working here is smiles and friendly, Gary at check in makes you feel so welcome. Super clean hotel and rooms! The room was so comfy and The breakfast is great too. I can't think of a single thing we were unhappy with! Stay here, you will be glad you did! From check in to check out! Clean hotel and rooms.Staff were pleasant and helpful. The hot tub was great, nice and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was beyond what was expected. Food was hot and fresh and constantly stocked. The breakfast room was clean and spacious.

The staff go out of there way to ensure you have a great experience at this Best Western! There are lots of hotel choices but the quality of people working there really make your stay exceptional. I recommend Airdrie's Best Western when I have guests coming from out of town.

Ok. The hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are extremely clean, the prices are good and the breakfast is great. But what makes this place special are the staff. From the housekeeping staff to the front desk staff to the bar staff and right up to the manager. Every single person I encounter here goes out of their ways to make certain you are having the best stay ever. After four separate weekend visits this past year, I have yet to find anything negative to say. Stay here. You won't regret it!

After having an absolutely terrible experience with the Best Western in Canmore (possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced) we were looking for somewhere to stay to break up the drive from Saskatoon to Radium. I was very hesitant to try another Best Western but I am so glad we did! The general manager (Farah I think was his name) made us feel so welcome. When he heard about our experience with the Canmore location he upgraded our room for free, and when we went to check out he had even given us a discount! Farah and his staff were so kind and accommodating, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and breakfast was good. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. We drive out to the mountains for a holiday annually so we know where we will be staying along the way from now on. Thank you so much for making our holiday just that much better!

Excellent hotel with friendly staff. Good value and within driving range of the Calgary International Aiport. Room was large with a comfortable bed. We ate dinner at Mr. Mike's Steakhouse, which is within 2.5 miles of the hotel. Other restaurants are within walking distance. Overall, a good stay.

great place to stay while in Airdrie - comfortable rooms, pleasant staff, quiet location. Very clean and well cared for and easily accessible from the highway. I always stay here when working in the area.

The staff here make any shortcomings in the hotel disappear with their friendly and helpful attitudes. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with lots of pillows to choose from. My complaints were so minor as not to be mentioned other than an elevator whose clunk worried us. But I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here one night on our way to Red Deer . Placed looks older , but everything was very clean. The parking lot had good lighting , car felt safe out there. Queen bed looked more like a double, it was fine The pillow selection was real good The breakfast in the morning was great . I had cheese omelet, bacon and cubed hash browns, Real good coffee too.

The hotel is a bit outdated but clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The lounge staff were brutal. We received somewhat good service from the one girl on the Friday night but that was about it Myself, my partner & other guests were completely ignored the other 3 visits to the lounge and had to approach the bar constantly to order another drink while the staff members were hanging behind the bar laughing and not paying any attention to the customers except for the one or 2 regulars.

Arrived at the hotel on Friday and stayed for 3 nights. Was served bacon for breakfast during the entire 3 day stay. Had a shower and by the time I was done, was standing in 3 inches of water because the tub would not drain. Tried to use the hot tub Friday evening and the water temp. was so hot that we scalded our feet. Spoke to the front desk and were told that the thermostat reads 104. On Saturday, tried the hot tub again and spoke to a gentleman who has said that he had complained about the hot tub temp the previous night as well and was told that when the water was tested, the temp was actually 115 degrees. Cold water was added and were able to use the tub. On Sunday, same issue as Friday, with the hot tub and when we spoke to the front desk, we were told that the maintenance man works Mon-Fri only.

Great king suite. HUGE! Very clean! 2 TVs one in bedroom one in sitting area. HUGE bathroom. 2 sinks! I am so staying here again. Costs lot less than Calgary. Staff was friendly. Check in fast and easy. we were very tired from a 3 hour drive from Edmonton and just needed to get to our room and relax.

I have now stayed at this hotel at least 3 times in the last year. The last two times Gary checked me in. His service is top notch and I appreciate the bottle water and snacks at check in. Hotel is not new but clean and nice. I was made welcome from all of the staff. Highly recommend this hotel.

I've been at this location few times already and the experience of our stay was amazing. Gentleman who works at the front desk by name Gary made our stay very memorable. What made me feel really good is he remembered our little pups name . I would definitely return with my family. Thank you Gary for always making us feel welcome at best western airdrie!!

Gary at the Front Desk, the General Manager, Farah, and Cheyenne in the restaurant, were all friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and that our business was valued. Did I mention that supper was terrific? And even though the hot tub was not working that evening, the hotel Made It Right. We Appreciate the extra effort - above AND beyond!

This place is a lot better than it appears. The exterior is dark and dated, however the hotel is great. Rooms are clean and well appointed and include breakfast. There is a restaurant on-site so they have real scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns, not the pre-cooked pre-packaged hot "plastic" food that you find at most motels.

my dad and I popped in for an over night stay and had a great experience. Great rates, friendly service, along with a free breakfast, how could you go wrong! If we are ever in the area again I will definitely come back!

Another one night stop over on our way to a Saskatoon party! The front desk employee greeted us after about three steps into the hotel. The lobby was clean,warm and very comfy. He took the time to explain all amenities, breakfast, where best to park and even had time to ensure our dog was welcomed! The room was very clean, no unwanted aromas! Bathroom met expectations with good amenities as well. After we had a chance to look the room over, set down the luggage and get the dog comfy, the phone rang asking if the room was acceptable! That was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was hot, eggs, bacon, hash browns , cereal or waffles along with great coffee (and I'm fussy!), plus muffins. Started at 6:00 a.m. so it worked perfect for us. Checkout was superfast! I actually forgot a bag of okanagan fruit in the fridge and called the hotel as soon as I discovered this. I asked them to eat the fruit but I needed the bag back. When I went to pick it up, the employee at the desk knew what I was talking about right away! The fee for our dog was cheaper than other places we stayed... $10......perfect!

Great location for quick stop over. Renovated rooms, quite, and good location to all amenities in Airdrie. Friendly staff. Construction was happening outside the front doors but it did not affect our stay. Overall a good place to stop and rest.

All staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. We were pleased to be upgraded to a suite with a veggie and fruit tray. Clean, quiet, and a comfortable bed. Will stay again whenever we are in the area.

We have stayed at this property many, many times . I would have given the property 5 stars but it is substantially dated and that is the only reason for the 4 stars. Something at this property has definitely changed. The customer service was outstanding. When I checked in, I was welcomed as a Diamond member . We were upgraded and quite nice.. We were also told to call if we needed anything at all. That was a nice touch, That was just excellent customer service! Although the property is dated. We would stay again. They are in the process of up dating but that takes times. I have stayed at this best western many times in 2016 and will continue to stay there when I'm in the area.

My husband attends ADESA Auction that is located approx. 5 mins or so from this hotel. He always stays here and this time we decided to join him also as a family. First of all, the room we stayed in was the king bedroom suite. The room met our expectations and MORE! It's huge! We were 3 adults and 3 kids. The staff (Michael-front desk, Colette-cleaning lady and Farah-Manager) were extremely friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The free breakfast was very yummy and had a great variety. what can I say this place is brilliant, always fresh fruit and coffee in the reception, staff go over and above what they need to provide, nothing seems to be to much trouble. The staff are knowledgeable about the local area,dont forget to ask for a discount card for taxis and you get discount in the restaurant also the bar. Farah and her staff were brilliant and we thank you. The hot tub and gym are added bonuses

I'm sure that it couldn't be helped, but this particular room reeks of cigarette smoke smell. And I keep getting kicked off the Wi-Fi. It's a clean hotel though, and the staff is great! I just expected the experience to be what I usually get with Best Western.

Aged by trying hard! Thew room was very dated. The door required repair in terms of look and function. The room is very small. The staff are attentive and polite. they need a better product to sell frankly.

This is a very nice hotel to stay with. They provide us with many professional and quality services and facilities. The breakfast is great. Besides this, there are some nice restaurants in its neighborhood, we had a great dinner nearby the hotel. It is just close to the highway.

The hotel is always clean and the rooms are comfortable. The hotel staff have always been awesome. The hotel has a motel and hotel section. We have stayed in both and have been equally happy. The hotel is easy to find and close to some fast food and shopping.

Stayed at the Best Western in Airdrie while I was there visiting for a sporting event that I was participating in. I don't come to expect much from so-called economy hotels, but have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this property. First, and very important to me, was the fact that the bed was one of the most comfortable mattresses that I've slept on in a Hotel. Secondly, the ENTIRE staff were the most customer focused, high service individuals that I've known. They out service 4 and 5 star Hotels at 3 times the price. Even the people that serviced our room were exceptional. All of the typical, germ-laden TV remotes were cleaned and put in there own little wrapper each day. Why not 5 stars then, you ask? Internet was sketchy at best as far as signal strength and they were undergoing an entry renovation, which was not a problem, but was a tad bit inconvenient. Bottom line... I'll stay there again, if and when I'm in the area.

Over our holidays this year we stayed at several Best Estern Hotels and our experiences were positive except for our stay in the Airdrie Best Western. Themrooms are 'tired' and the mattresses need to be upgraded. The elevator needs repair. We had planned to stay two nights but left after the first to stay elsewhere.

Did our Edmonton, Red Deer, Airdrie, Calgary Stampede trip. Had a great stay in every BW we stayed in. Staff was awesome. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Love staying at Best Westerns. Although an older property, it is well maintained and the room we stayed in was very spacious. Chuckwagons at the Stampede were out of this world entertaining.

we've been to alot of hotels and i think this is the worst so far first it is unsafe,elevator door close right away,second the staff was rude,third pancake machine is broken and still on the counter. after a long day at drumheller with our relatives who came over to canada for a short visit we decided to spend the night in airdrie so we could go to cross iron mills the following day.we arrived around 9pm at the hotel, they asked for a credit card for security so i gave my husbands credit card the receptionist say "oh its decline you must have insufficient fund" that couldnt be i respond because i know the fact that the card has sufficient fund ."just give me a different card" he say so i gave him a different credit card and the receptionist say "well see if your card well be accepted this time" in a sarcastic voice. i let it pass as i dont have any energy to comment at that time, when we get into the room my husband suppose to call the credit card company when i noticed that the card was expired thats why it declined not because it has "INSUFFICIENT FUND" and even if it is insufficient fund i dont think it is appropriate to tell that to your customer. Our relatives are on their 60s already so they walk slow and my aunt almost caught on the elevator as the door close right away. The following day during breakfast time i assist my mother in law to make a pancake so we plug the machine, while waiting the girl from the kitchen came and asked who plug this referring to the pancake machine i told her me, she get mad and told me "the machine is broken thats why its unplug".then if it is broken take it out in the counter or put a sign.

The hotel was comfy and everything but the rooms were fairly small and there wasn't a lot of room to walk around. The hallways were very small. Great location and the staff were okay..... I would recumbent this hotel for one or two nights but no more than that.

This place was perfect distance from Calgary for our visit to the zoo. The staff were all friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfy and quiet. The door was slightly hard to close and I felt I was always slamming it but it was a minor issue. Even though there was construction it was a minor issue to the flow of the hotel. I would definitely recommend any one visiting to stay here and will be back myself.

If you want a comfortable quiet sleep a very good breakfast and want to be treated and greeted be a knowledgeable caring staff then this is the place to go. The rooms are getting a bit tired but everything works very well.

We checked in on the 23 of June after 2300 , and we were fortunate to be checked in by a gentleman who had excellent customer service. He went out of his way to ensure we got milk which we needed for our toddler. The room was outdated but clean , and breakfast was excellent. I forgot my handbag in the dinning room , and it was returned to me with everything intact. All very positive , things took a turn when we checked out. I discovered on the 25th that the hold that was put on my credit card had not been removed. I called the hotel to find out what the problem was since they had taken payment for the two rooms I had booked. I was advised the hold would be removed by late afternoon. It is now the 27 of June , and the hold is still there. I called , and asked that a manager call and let me know the reason for the continued hold. End of day today there has been no call back. Having stayed at Best Western before I am extremely disappointed , and will not be checking in to this chain. My advise is if you are cash strapped do not check into this hotel .

Staff was very friendly when we arrived at midnight the first night and left before check out the day we left. Room was perfect nice size for the 4 of us. The bathroom was huge. Enjoyed our stay very much. Will recommend to our family and friends and use again! Close to Cross Iron Mills mall. Very clean.

The main reason for this visit was to visit my family, unable for 4 years due to Cancer now since as a survivor. The visit was very pleasant as the city was where I once lived and was emotional at times being I survived. The hotel was a reminder as well as I stayed here previous so old happy memories came back.

Have stayed at this hotel in the past and chose it on this occasion because of the Best Western name. Located in a relatively central location, the lounge is a great place to have a burger and a beer. Good thing since there aren't many other dining options nearby. Wouldn't stay at this hotel for a long stay, but perfectly adequate for an overnight business trip. The hotel is older but has been well maintained and the room amenities are perfectly adequate.

I came for one night and ended up staying 11 nights. I feel that I have been staying with family, The manager Farah, has only the best staff, you walk in and are greeted by smiles, which never leave they are genuine, caring and can't do enough to make your stay fantastic, front end staff, Collette and all housekeeping are great,. I have made friends with all of them and will come back just to see them all again. Thank you so very much. The manager of the Lounge Stephanie, again another wow, love it. Definitely stay here.

While we did not stay at the hotel we did eat in the Korean Bueok Restaurant and had a great experience. The service was great for our large group (which included 5 kids) and the food was excellent. The chef tailored the dishes to make sure everyone got to try something and our waitress served each one of us. Overall a really pleasant dinner experience!

We were on an overnight tour of central Alberta. Airdrie was a half-way point and this was a perfect hotel to relax for the evening. It was clean and quiet and the staff members very friendly and hospitable. If we find ourselves in this area in the future we would stay here again.

Quiet, clean, comfortable. We needed a night off of driving from BC to Edmonton and stopped at BEst Western in Airdrie. Check in was fast, check out was faster. The room and amenities in the room were great. We did not use the fitness room but we did have a breakfast. My only comment would be to save the planet and use real plates and cutlery rather than disposable.

The location for us was very good because we had a work trailer behind the truck so parking was better than getting inside Calgary where parking may have been a problem. Certainly hotel was similar to Calgary's hotels so we chose this site. Staff, hotel comfort and service every bit as good as you find in other places.

This hotel was in a good location. Any restaurant type within walking distance. Very quiet in our room. The room was clean. Has a free full breakfast on site. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The hotel looks older on the outside but is in good shape inside. I wish they would keep the sleep button on the remote enabled, lol

The manager went to great lengths to find us accommodation that suited three adults and our small dog. We were very happy with the suite. The building generally is a little older but seems well maintained. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was excessively noisy and we couldn't use it. The blinds did not filter out light as well as needed. We would recommend this hotel.

Stayed at the Best Western in Airdrie Alberta for a couple of days while on vacation. Pretty sure that I booked a king room however when I arrived was a given a dual queen on the thrid floor, Room and hallway on thrid floor had an old cigarette smoke smell. When I went back to ask about a king room staff said no problem and gave me another room on the second floor. Odor was not apparent on the second floor however the room they gave me was a single queen and very small. Went back to desk and there was no king rooms available for the number of nights I was staying so settled for a dual queen on the second floor. This hotel is an older hotel that has been remodeled and updated. It is not bad and the attached lounge and dining room made it acceptable to me except for the smoke smell on the third floor. We were on the backside of the hotel and highway noise was not apparent and the room was fairly dark to sleep. Not sure about the front rooms. Parking is excellent as there is a two tier parkade right in front of the hotel and you can park a pickup (6'6") on the covered bottom section or on the upper section which is open air. The location is excellent as it is easy to access from highway 2 and then a straight run back onto highway 2. It is located within a short drive on highway 2 to the Cross Iron mall which is huge if you like to shop. Downtown Airdrie is about 8 blocks away but there isn't a lot of ammenities right around the hotel. You will need to drive to whatever you are looking for. If you like VLTs there appears to be a number of them at this location in the lounge. All in all I slept well and the free continental breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

Front desk were very polite and upgraded me without asking. Rooms are quite large and clean. Breakfast was included and quite good. Parking is good. Its nice to have a restaurant and bar attached. I would stay here again.

Checked in late at night and staff was friendly and helpful and quickly got me through the check in process. Room was nice and clean. Internet was fast and faithful! Didn't have breakfast, just grabbed a coffee and got on the road.

We have stayed here three times in the las t four months. Each time, we have been upgraded fro a Queen room. Once was to a King room, and twice to a King suite. the last time we stayed, we were pleasantly surprised to find a veggie-fruit tray in the refrigerator and two bottles of water beside the TV. Service was friendly, efficient and courteous. We will definitely return again.

When ever I have business in the Calgary to Red Deer area I always choose the Best Western Regency Motel in Airdrie as my base. The service and amenities suit my needs. I have other options available in the area but this provides dining, an easy walk and shopping less than 5 minutes by car.

I stayed here with many family members. We were in town for my uncles funeral. The staff are what makes this hotel great. They were very attentive and caring. They even bought us flowers and a card to acknowledge our lost. The rooms were always clean, get a balcony if you can it was nice to have some fresh air. Breakfast was included, free wifi and parking. The food in the lounge was really good. There was always fruit and coffee in the lobby. They have video slots and from what i seen they were paying out for the small amount of machines that were there. There is laundry onsite and the jacuzzi is a great spot to relax and soak. If I am ever in town again I will definately stay at this best western, thanks for everything.

I join my husband on his work trips monthly, and couldn't be happier with this hotel. All the staff is incredibly accommodating and ready for us each time. We have been upgraded a few times and are always welcome even if we arrive early. The lady at the desk remembers us and is always so kind. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!

Front desk staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Full hot breakfast was well prepared and well displayed. Sausages, eggs and bacon were well cooked and temperature was properly maintained. Good assortment of fruits and cereals. We always check room cleanliness on check in and all aspects of the room were flawless. We will definitely stay again.

We had a great weekend trip, the hotel was perfect, close to all activities and dinner. The hotel was clean, comfortable and very friendly, they did go out of there way to make us feel comfortable and welcome!

I honestly have ZERO complaints about this hotel. They accommodated my every request including early and late checkouts. They even upgraded my room for free! The staff was very helpful and kind and brought me extra towels every day and I only had to ask once ;-) Overall GREAT value and PERFECT for a stay to hit up Cross Iron Mills. Will stay again, no doubt.

I arranged for a minor hockey team to stay at this hotel for a tournament. They went above and beyond. They accomodated my every request; early check in, a room for the boys equipment (for free), access to a team room for a meal (again, free), late check out, and all the other minutia that go into a successful team event. Personally, there was a minor mix up with our room and not only did they resolve it they ensured we would be lifetime customers.

Nothing to worry about, they took care of everything. Freindly check in, clean rooms and Lounge staff very nice. and now they want to many words on this review, and are now waisting my time. Last survey i will take.

Booked online, rewards member. It was a nice surprise to have our king room upgraded to a suite upon arrival after the flames game. Loved it! Great staff and a good breakfast to start our day of shopping.

I always feel like Royalty and certainly get treated as such by all the staff; The food is super both in the lounge and breakfast. Lots of parking. Close to the Calgary Airport and easy to access the entire Calgary area.

We worked in a cupping course for 3 days in the meeting room. The room is located on the western side of the hotel. You can tell the room was designed in the 70's. The temperature of the room was either too hot or too cold. The staff were great.

Enjoyed the Hot Tub for our tired feet from shopping at the Outlet Mall (10 minutes away by car). The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was ok; it got us going in the morning. Beds were just right!

Stayed here early September & did enjoy our stay but the next day realized I forgot my brand new sneakers, called the hotel & they did fine them but wouldn't be able to send them until Tuesday cause of the holiday which was fine, cheaper for me to pay the shipping then buy another pair, will a week went by never got them, called to get a tracking number & was told someone would call me back, been calling weekly & keep getting the same reply, nobody is returning my messages, so I hope whoever got my new sneakers is enjoying them since they never got returned. So to me that's bad customer service.

Customer service here was top notch. We checked in very late in the evening, but even though it was the middle of the night, the man at the desk was very kind and welcoming, even tried to get to know us a bit. The room was great. The bathroom was nice and big. The beds was very comfortable, and bonus was the fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast wasn't fancy, but much better then most Best Western's we've visted in the past. There was even nutella for your toast! Thanks for the wonderful stay, will come back again when we're in the area!

This is a clean, quiet hotel with large rooms. Staff at front desk were very helpful checking in and out. While the view from the window wasn't great, the interior was and it was private. Close access to the highway is good even though the people we were visiting were on the south side so not in the perfect location for us.

I give this hotel 2 big thumbs up :) At check-in, I was greeted by very courteous and professional staff. I stayed in the suite, which was absolutely huge. The room was impeccably clean, and the bathroom was beautiful and well equipped with 2 sinks and a walk-in shower. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable, and I had an amazing sleep. The room was at the end of the hallway, so there was no noise at all. There are also walls separating the elevators from the hallway, so it helps with noise reduction as well. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was one of the best I've had yet. It included everything from eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and more. The staff were very courteous with keeping the dining area clean and items replenished. I highly recommend this place, and I will be staying on my next visit.

Some highway noise but not significant. Renovations have been completed since the last time I was here and the rooms and decor are nice. Very friendly helpful service at the desk. Lounge is comfortable and quiet. Excellent service. We had onion rings and nacho's both of which were made traditional and very good. Lounge is geared to gamblers for horse racing etc.

Nice clean hotel and very good value for money. Lounge was very nice also, with good fish and chips. All staff, were friendly and helpful. All in all a nice stop over that was restful, . Will always keep this one on the route list
