Best Western Hotel Achim Bremen

…..be scared. It's actually quite fine on the inside. Easy to find and close to the Autobahn. Just be careful that you don't destroy your wheels and suspension due to the big and deep potholes at the parking lot. They charge you for it, which is simply not okay! Way above average service in the reception. Perfect sized and very clean room. Up to date and perfect for a business stay over. Coffee facilities, work desk, comfortable bed. Missed a restaurant for dinner- not much in the area. Fine breakfast with what you need to get started. Would probably be back.

I drove from Sweden to the UK and needed a pit stop on the way. I have Diamond status with BW Rewards Member and therefore try to stay at BW Hotels when possible. This hotel fit the bill and I rewards points to pay for the stay. Location: very easy access from the Autobahn. There is plenty of parking available. Check in: quick and the lady who checked me in was friendly and helpful. Room: my room was on the third floor. I slipped on the door lock knob trying to lock the door and sliced open quite a deep wound on my eight index finger. Take care when locking the door as the spiky lock knob evidently is quite sharp. The lady in the reception gave me four bandaids. The room is of a good size, has a comfortable bed, a large TV with only one English language channel (news), an armchair, a work area, tea and coffee making facilities and a bathroom. I followed the instructions for the heating but I could not get it to work. I did not mention it to the hotel as the room may have been cooler than whatI prefer but it was not terribly cold. Wifi: the complimentary wifi was sufficient for my needs. Breakfast: the breakfast is not included and costs €11.50. It is a continental breakfast buffet with cereals, a few hot options, bread rolls, yoghurt, some fresh fruit, cheese etc. Overall: I would stay here again. The staff is great. The man who worked in the morning when I checked out was excellent and deserves a special mention. I do not remember his name but he had a double name and had studied biology.

We chose the Best Western Achim Bremen for an overnight stay on our recent road trip from Vestfold, Norway, to Amsterdam. It was a good selection. The hotel is close to the freeway and easy to find. The check-in was quick and easy, the price for a room was very reasonable and the breakfast was more than adequate. We would definitely stay here again.

After a long day of driving we arrived to Bremen. The building looks quite dated on outside, but inside it was not bad. Room was basic, the ac made wierd sounds. Bathroom was ok, only the bath was a little nasty. Room was really quiet though so we slept ok. We did not expect a lot from breakfast and it was actually a pleasant suprise. Nothing special but everything we needed. For one night stop reallu satisfactory!

We were on our way back to Denmark, and had a nights stay in Achim. Arrived late afternoon. At the hotel there is no restaurant (only at breakfast). Had to walk about 1 km to the nearest restaurant for Dinner. The room itself was ok, average size. The bathroom (handicap friendly) was ok size. In the evening you had to choose at what time you wanted to have breakfast and was given a Number for a table. Breakfast was ok - nothing fancy. Friendly staff. Due to the COVID-19 instructions you had to wear facemasks

Very kind and professional staff, good beeds and coffee on the room and you can order food directly to the hotel. And very easy too find! I had a very Nice stay though it was short, thank you for a Nice stay, I Will Come back another time.

The rooms only heating system was a very noisy heat pump. In fact is was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep when is was turned on. It was also placed so impractically, that if I pulled the curtains, they blocked the ventilation from the heating system. So it god really cold inside the room during the night. Otherwise the room was fine, big and clean. Breakfast was also fine and there were a lot of parking outside (2 euro per night)

the air condition was so loud I couldn't sleep! No central heating available, so air condition had to be turned on during the whole night, just to not get freeze. But it's working so loud that I couldn't rest and relax.

Hotel was very close to the motorway. There is also plenty parking spaces. Courtesy tea and coffee facilities in the rooms perfect idea specially after long drive. Hotel itself was clean inside and outside.

Very comfortable and clean rooms with a modern style. Many tv channels in many different languages. Excellent bed. Big rooms. Perfect location if you are travelling through Germany by car and need one night's sleep.

Nice hotel, but our shower didn't work. The location is fine because it is not to far from the highway and a shopping center. Inside the hotel you would excpect some decorating but it was kind of boring. We woke up twice because of noices on the hallway.

For the price this is a great Hotel. (Almost) free parking, big rooms, clean, roomy bath and plenty TV channels. Several restaurants near by, and the Hotel is just off Autobahn A!. There is a big shopping mall near by.

Large and renovated room, large parking place, a little noise in the morning due to renovation but not such a big problem, a little problem if you don' t have a car but we used it as a base for visiting Bremen and Lubeck so it was perfect

The room was comfortable but being woken up by the sound of construction was very disturbing - we should have been told the night before about the disruption and noise. The staff was helpful though. Air conditioning.

Perfect for one night as break for a long ride. We had a good breakfast, there were a big range of products to choose from. Staff was very friendly and serving. Quick check in and check out. Clean room. Decor need some update.

I didn't like this hotel.. it was Ok for one night but definitely not more. rooms are old and used. bath room was not clean and breakfast was not good as well. bread was really hard and there was not a lot of choice. it seems they just started to renovate the hotel. better so..

This hotel has everything you would need for a traveler passing trough. The beds are comfortable, the room is clean and the reception is open 24/24. The breackfast is better than in an IBIS hotel so i was surprised in a good way. Also pets are alowed and that is a plus if you travel with them. The staff is verry friendly. This hotel of cours is specialy for travelers or a short stay. It has no facillitys but that is not neccesery for a short stay. You get value for money. So close to the high way and you do not hear a sound of that. The train passing on the other hand you can here quit well.

We stayed here again on our way back from Denmark. Again good service and a good night sleep. It was a Sunday night and it wasn't easy to find something to eat. We bought something at a Spar shop at a gas station on the main road.

My baby's bed was in the room and already made. Perfect! Breakfast was good and a lot of choice and all the staff were very friendly.

Clean and tidy room, with very good WiFi. It was quite during my stay, so I had a very good night. Overall, this hotel has value for money. It is an excellent stay during a trip to the north, as it is close by the Autobahn. Breakfast is good enough. Minor detail. Shower is in the bath, and the bath is slippery.

Do not expect anything special. I mean it ! You will not even find a laundry bag in your room. There is a strange smell in the hallways and it will be most probably the only thing that you will remember about your stay in this hotel...

Best part if travelling by car is the fact it is just off A1, but still no traffic noise. Easy to find. Big parking lot, although at a charge. Rooms are big, very nice Bath, big comfortable Bed, there is even a sitting group in room.

This hotel is great value for money. They rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is no restaurant in the hotel so you need to go outside for dinner. Breakfast was very basic. The hotel is good for one night stay. Free parking available.

We stayed here for one night. We booked just an hour in advance (while driving towards DK) and every thing went easy. Check-in, payment, breakfast and the rooms were excellent compared to price. Very good value.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Everything was above expectation, room was spacious, there was air conditioning, the curtains our blackout, the bed was confortable and the bathroom was clean and convenient. The location was perfect for us because we needed a place close to the highway on our way back from holidays. The only remark was that the breakfast might not be worth the price.

Ok hotel, just some metres from the highway. Large parking lot. Price/quality is ok, but the hotel need some renovation. Ok for one night as a sleep over. Minus for not having bar/restaurant, you have to go to an outside restaurent to get dinner.

The look and feel of this hotel is average. Nothing special, but the price is right.. The (not included) breakfast is quite good.The room was OK, but a bit Spartan, and happened to have a nice view towards the town.

Friendly staff. One of the beds was poor quality. Mold in the bathroom is not done. Problem is ventilation which does not work. Same problem with the airconditioning. There are just a few seats at te lobby. Make it a place to be during the evening. Breakfast was good. Enough choice and fine quality.

Driving through europe, needed to sleep here for one night, travelling with a dog, booked in advance. Nice friendly staff, free parking as acustomer, just off the autobahn, so its good if your driving. Not much close by within walking distance. Had a buffet breakfast, always a good thing. Everything was clean and tidy. Big room with a nice bed, sofa, tv, coffee and tea, nice clean bathroom. everything was just fine. No complaints about this place.

The hotel is very comfortable and clean, conveniently located close by the motorway. The area is very quiet, with plenty of parking. The staff is very kind and helpful and wifi is very good. Definitely a place to recommend!

I always know what to expect when checking into a Best Western Hotel. And this was no different, the rooms are decent sized and clean. The service when arriving polite and quick, and included parking in the price for 2euro. Since the hotel has no dinner restaurant you will have to go out for dinner, locally there is a few choices and Bremen is close driving distance. The breakfast in this particular hotel was very good, and included a full continental buffet. But most of all this is an extremely convenient hotel when driving through Germany.

Had a one night stay here on was to Scandinavia, very friendly woman on reception who helped us with local questions, enjoyed the room very much and had a fantastic sleep, all ammenities are available here.

Far from charming but still to be recommended to the traveller who needs a rest. Situated close to the 'autobahn' the hotel offers an opportunity to get a good nights sleep in sound proof rooms without having to go far off road. On the down side is the fact that the hotel has no restaurant which forces one to eat out. A few decent restaurants are to be found within two kilometers of the hotel.

Now I know why it was cheap! The hotel is old and pretty worn out, with a funky smell to it especially in the rooms. The breakfast was not good at all, I would recommended going elsewhere for that. The rooms felt clean though so if you just want a cheap bed for the night, go for it.

The location is quite far from the city, and there is not much around the area. The room is spacious, but bathroom is small. There are not enough amenities. Lady hotel staff was friendlier than the man, who was quite rude.

We stayed here for 1 night thanks to the location next to the highway. The bathroom smelled of mold and you had to pay for the hotels own parkinglot! The breakfast was decent, the beds was good. Finally, a cheap hotel close to the highway, good for a quick stop over night on your eurotrip.

It's what it says in the tin and it serves that function well! This is not a luxurious hotel, but it has all the amenities and provides a good nights sleep. It's clean, the staff are friendly and the rooms are of a decent size. A budget friendly hotel that has a high standard within its class. Perfect stopping place if you're driving from Norway to the UK, and taking the ferry from Calais.

Exterior parts of the hotel has seen better days but the inside is perfectly ok. Annoying is that on TripAdvisor it states free parking, which it is not. The parking fee is not very high but it brought down our experience when finding out when checking out. On the website booking.com the parking fee is correct. Breakfast is good (not included). Convenient close to the highway.

We stayed at this hotel on our way back home from France. It was a good hotel for one night. Quiet, clean and comfortable rooms with good and clean bathrooms. We had an option of breakfast but breakfast selection was quite limited. Big parking makes it easy to find a spot if you arrive late at night. I would warmly recommend it for a night especially while traveling with kids.

The best reason to stay here is probably the hotel's proximity to the highway in direction of Hannover and Hamburg. There is not particularly anything really negative about the hotel especially considering that I paid 72 EUR per night including breakfast. What I liked - Large parking area - Good breakfast - Additional seating (sofa) in the room - Air conditioning What I did not like - no restaurant and no bar available and you need a car to drive to restaurants - Shower / bath tub combination very small and old - System to switch from bath tub water to shower is pretty complicated to operate. I needed to ask since my system was stuck and hard to handle - Small TV - Unpersonal check-in ... no friendly words, nothing - Small bed considering I had a double bed - Pretty noisy with train tracks not far away from the hotel. So several iCE pass by every hour even during the night. I can recommend staying here if you need to be close to the highway for one night. I would not stay here for vacation.

You find Best Western hotel Achim very near the German Autobahn A1. Its easy to go to the city centre by train. About 1 km from the hotel you find the trainstation of Bremen - Mahndorf. There are enough safe parkingplaces for your car. In 6 minutes you are at Bremen hauptbahnhof. The hotel is a good business hotel. Rooms are good and clean. They offer a good breakfast and free wifi.

Very bad experience for me in this BW. Old style hotel and smell everywhere, frustrated lady at night desk, no heating in 3 different rooms I moved around and same problem for 2 colleagues of mine. Nobody could fix it in 3 days... Breakfast is not offering much...no fruit and no sweets. Internet connection is using a daily psw...qui te irritating. Suggest to move somewhere else...

I chose this hotel as part of a family road trip holiday. We were in effect passing through Germany on our way to Scandinavia and needed somewhere to stop for a night. The Best Western Achim Hotel did the job. It was clean, functional, basic and good value for money. Achim town doesn't have anything to recommend it and the hotel offers no evening facilities so if you want to eat be prepared to drive some distance. Recommend Peter Pain gourmet burger restaurant about 5 miles (8km) away.

My husband and I just needed an overnight stay as we were travelling all day and another in front of us. From the moment we pulled into the car park this property was just what we needed. Plenty of parking, easy to carry luggage to hotel, clean presentatable and spacious. Everything was basic but what was provided was of good quality. Anything extra we required was available from reception no extra fees! Very clean and comfortable and low noise levels. We don't speak German but all the staff spoke English. Dinner wasn't available but there were delivery options and a vending machine for snacks. Breakfast was included in our tariff and exceeded our expectations. Only minutes off the autobahn both arriving departing. Perfect, 10/10.

This is a quite large hotel, 10 minutes or so from Bremen. Has a very frien dly, helpful staff, and is quite reasonably priced. he only thin g it lacks is a restaurasnt, but there are a few in the vicinity, so no need to go to Bremen itself.

The hotel was easy to find not a bad distance from Bremen Airport. Fairly late arrival was handled well. The room was ok, with usual tea and coffee facilities, tv and all was clean and tidy. Wifi service worked well. Left before I got chance to have breakfast.

This place is all about the location right next to the highway. A clean bed and large breakfast at a very nice price. Not a place I would stay in for an extended period of time, but very convenient on my trip south.

The room was ok but the heating was not working it was noise . I think the breakfast was high price I think it should be included in the price . The smoking are was not in a god place the door going out side was banking all the time

Convenient for a short break with friendly staff, good breakfast in an attractive dining room. Unfortunately a good night's sleep was disturbed by the very loud air-conditioning that could not be turned off.

This hotel is a really good location for our car journeys and we have used it once before when we were pleasantly surprised for the price. However, this visit, despite advance booking, they did not provide a cot for our infant. There was only bedding for 2 people (not 3). While the hotel is adequate I won't necessarily use it again

Really, nothing would have happened, if it was purely in the room and the decor was neutral, less psychedelic. After that, the price is most suited to rest. I sleep in this hotel, because I'm close to my partner and I enjoy the relative peace that you guarantee me. Thank you, see you soon

Stayed here for 8 days, and would stay here again. Clean, wonderful beds, nice Hotel. Near train, autobahn, & street car etc. The water in the shower was plentiful & hot. The daily maid service was good. You can not get better for the money!

Easy to come with train to Bremen-Mahndorf and walk to the hotel. It's also quite cheap, when you buy erlebnis card for tourists. Don't forget to test the breakfast at the hotel. Good coffee and sunny side up eggs.

Nice hotel in Achim, friendly staff, good value for money. Not very close to Bremen (if this is your destination) but the public transport connections are quite good. There is also a delicious Balkan restaurant nearby.

Close to motorway so convenient, but far enough away to be quiet. Good size but busy car park. Quick check in. Rooms were basic but large and clean. Plenty of space with cot set up in l room. Would stay again for a stopover

Family room had comfortable beds and good shower, although no twins only doubles. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, but unable to get wifi due to excessive use in evening (Thurs) and password had expired by breakfast. Location very good for overnight stop while travelling long distance.

Well i checked in, and they room they sent me into was not clean, i'm mean, the bathroom seemed like someone was there 10min before i arrived. In the reception they told that they were fully booked like everybody says every time but they were able to change my room, after that nothing to report, breakfast it was ok, and the new room was clean and what you expect.

Hotel is close to the highway and easy to find. Open 24h wich is good if you travel late or leave early. But they are propably understaffed and the breakfast routine is to slow. 2 person room was only set for 1 person but they gladly helped us with that. Free wifi but slow and disconnects. Overall not very comfy but with a good price you can stop and sleep.
