Best Western Plus Regency Inn & Conference Centre

I was greeted exceptionally well by the team and treated with respect. I was given my two waters as advertised. My room was clean and fresh and my king size bed was very comfortable. I look forward to my next stay. Thank you.

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night 3 nights in a row. Each night assuring us that they had someone coming in to fix the problem. We would have gone somewhere else. Staff were unapologetic.

The location is great that's why we chose it. Restaurant nearby is a plus. The room was smaller than an average hotel room. Service could've been better. Our toilet got plugged & we were handed a plunger to do it ourselves. Lobby was freezing cold.

I stayed during the snowstorm in January that hit Abbotsford. The hotel was great and so were the staff. At 3:45am, a staff member assisted me shoveling the snow from behind my vehicle. The buffet breakfast was great, one of the best I've had. I didn't check out the pool, that is for my next visit. Internet worked great, now problem with live video conferencing. The room was also quite spacious.

We booked this hotel online. I put in the date we were coming and said 2 people. When they sent me the confirmation the date said that night and 1 person. I right away called to say I didn't choose that date and they changed it but then found out when we got there, they charged us an extra $50 because of this. They didn't mention this when I called them. We will not return to this hotel because of this. They said we could talk to the manager the next day about it but we were leaving early the next morning and they weren't in. Poor way to treat seniors.

This hotel was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was very easy to find and restaurant was very good. Breakfast was excellent with great choices for all tastes. Would happily stay here again.

Sarah and the front desk staff CLEARLY care about their guests. We had a breif stay with them due to flight cancellation. While waiting for airline paperwork to arrive they ensured that we went to the breakfast that if offered. When we returned, are rooms were ready for us. So nice to see pristine laminate floors rather than nasty dirty carpetting typical of most hotels. Will def stay here in the future.

Another visit to see my 93 year old mom. Another delightful stay at my favourite hotel EVER. The staff are so cheerful and helpful. The room was fabulous. With having the free breakfast, I sure makes the morning easy without having to have to get in the car and drive somewhere for breakfast. They have so many choices it makes it good for all ages.

How can you have coin operated guest laundry machines onsite and not have any coins on hand at the front desk? I checked out one day early and at checkout was told I needed to provide 24 hours notice or I will get charged the full stay. It's a nice hotel in a very picturesque location but needs better customer service.

After a long day of driving, we arrived at the Best Western Plus Regency Inn. The reception team was excellent. Not only were they knowledgable and friendly. they were genuinely interested in our comfort. We had a number of questions which were answered with patience and a smile. When we asked about places to go for dinner, they provided us with a very helpful list. We went to one of the recommended restaurants and had an absolutely superb dinner! Although this hotel is situated near a major highway, the room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food available. The scrambled eggs were hot, delicious and fresh. That is quite an accomplishment because we were the last people to have breakfast. The hotel is well situated. It is near a number of restaurants and other businesses. It is also beside Highway one and it was easy for us to travel to the ferry from there. It is also close to the Abbotsford airport. We will return again to this hotel, and highly recommend it!

This place is not cleaned at all you will see rat boxes and traps all outside the property. The rooms smelled. The kitchen was not cleaned at all and the bathroom as well . I checked in saw poop all over my toilet seat. Ridiculous

Room was renovated and very clean, hot breakfast was very delicious, hot water and cold water were provided in the lobby at no charge. It is very convenient to have meals at Ricky's Restaurant, and a liquor store just across from the hotel.

Staff were amazing - empathized to our situation because we were evacuated due to the wildfire in west kelowna. Breakfast was also great with a lot of healthy choices. Very close to the airport making it the best hotel if you have an early flight

Checked in at what looked like a lovely place and were then sent to an outbuilding. Room was well laid out and appeared to have been updated. Nice amount of electrical outlets but some wouldn't hold a plug securely and therefore didn't work. Bathroom was tired looking. Sofabed was tired looking and linens looked like they'd been rumpled up in there a long time. King bed was comfortable enough. Pool was clean and sufficient in size, but very cold. The biggest problem and the reason for the poor rating was the noise. We could hear every footstep very loudly from the room above us and every door slam up and down the hallway. This was what I would expect in a motel, not a room that cost almost $400. That $400 rate was also a deal that I had to book online; it's disappointing that the front desk staff are not able (or willing?) to price match as has been done at other properties - they quoted $500. I had to go away and book it myself online. The front desk staff are either uninterested or not empowered to do anything other than say they're sorry. Overall not the experience I'd expect for the price.

The staff was so amazing incredibly helpful with what there was to do around town places to go things to do everyone had wonderful smiles the owner came around at breakfast and talked with people made you feel welcome we even invited her to come stay at our house if she's ever in our area gave her our address because she treated us like we were family

Recently renovated, nice room, very clean, comfy beds (slept great), tasty breakfast, polite staff, conveniently located, reasonably priced. We were very pleased with our stay. Kudos to the staff and management.

After 4 years, we were finally able to get together for a family reunion. After researching 10 hotels in the area, we chose the Best Western Plus Regency Inn and Conference Centre. It did not disappoint. The rooms were very comfortable and spotless. The staff were friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our stay was memorable. With the numbers staying at the hotel and for the length of time we were there, we qualified for a group rate which proved to be much less expensive than we anticipated, based on the time of year we were there.

We stayed at the best Western for three days while the Ram dealer in Chilliwack repaired our truck and camper the stay at the best Western was amazing all of their staff are extremely friendly and have smiles they would light up the whole world our room was really clean the swimming pool area was super nice and the breakfast every morning was really good and different they had cheese omelettes one day French toast another day one day they had sausage the next day they had bacon you get the idea it wasn't the same thing over and over again and the lady that made it was also really friendly I can't say how much we enjoyed our stay there despite the fact that our truck was broken down and it interrupted our vacation but I'm glad they were there for us we actually made friends with the owner and told her if she was ever in our area to come stay with us because we enjoyed our stay with them so much John & Cathy C

Tried to use the pool but it was not clean. The towel hanger in the room was not sturdy and fell off. The TV had a functional problem. It was not cleaned well, so long blonde hair was found in several places. My car was damaged in the parking lot there, but they couldn't find who did it with cctv.

Our 7 night stay with the Best Western Plus Regency Inn & Conference Centre, July 2023, was quite marvelous! This was not our first stay but as usual, we were treated royally. Gurgit, in housekeeping, went out of her way to ensure we moved in comfortably. Joan, in the breakfast room was a daily delight; aways chipper, friendly and helpful. Most amazingly, Sat the General Manager, stopped by at some point every morning to say hello and chat with the guest, always offering assistance and interested in finding out if all was as expected. Indeed, it was!

We stayed at the best western plus in Abbotsford last night. It was clean and we had enough room. But it was very overpriced given the facilities. You could hear the smallest noise through the wall and the cupboards shook/rattled when you walked through the room. The ventilation into the 2nd and 3rd room was nonexistent. It was quite hot. I wouldn't be complaining if it weren't for the price. We paid less ($629) for a similar room at the Sheraton Wall centre in downtown Vancouver last Friday.

After a devastating house fire we were placed at the Abbotsford Best Western Plus Regency Inn by Emerg. services. The professionalism, kindness and over the top caring from the entire staff from the General Mgr "Sat", the AMAZING front desk staff, lovely housekeeping folks to the two wonderful security gents - all went over and above to afford us a safe, caring and comfortable place to regroup. Words can't express our thanks. God Bless and thank you all.

Queen bed we were given to sleep on was broken. Huge divets in areas of the mattress, springs broken, creaky, popping out. Would not stay again due to the beds. Nice hotel overall, but back still hurts.

We recently had an amazing stay at the Abbotsford best western. As soon as we checked in we were upgraded to the family suite. The room and hotel was exceptionally clean. The staff were very friendly, and the pool was very clean and well kept :)

Recently we stayed 5 nites at this BW Regency Plus.. the hotel was clean, they served a very good breakfast changed daily, the front desk staff were friendly and eager to please. I would highly recommend this hotel

Except for the sound proofing between floors, the room was terrific. We had everything we needed. The person above us work heavy soled footwear and was walking back and forth in their room until very late at night, keeping us awake. Our coughing and nose blowing from head colds probably kept them awake too. Some sound proofing would have made both guests happier. We would stay again. The bed was very comfortable.

Fitness room is not open in early am on week ends nor will the staff open it on if requested. Also asked for early checkin ( two hours) weeks before the stay was told to call the day I was checking in. I called with no response and no response to my message either

Very clean and well-positioned hotel. Good amenities, Professional and accommodating staff. Reasonable breakfasts with adequate choice. Very quiet. Good constant internet connection and no trouble connecting. Great access to restaurants nearby.

The hotel was fairly satisfactory, nothing overly remarkable and was a reasonably fair price for a Best Western “Plus” hotel. The “Meh” I wasn't a huge fan of being in a separate building from the front desk, I had to park in one spot to check in, and then drive and park again at a different building where we stayed. Anytime we needed anything from the lobby and/or front desk I had to go outside and walk to a separate building which wasn't the most convenient during cold January when we stayed. Usually in a hotel property such as this, (not a motel property) if I ever needed to grab something, I could just walk downstairs to the lobby in my slippers, but I had to get fully dressed with winter jacket to get extra towels. The good: Pool and hot tub wasn't anything special but was clean. The property boasts two different and separate pool areas, (one in each building) but only one was in operation. Fortunately it was the one in the same building as we were, otherwise I definitely would not have wanted to wander outside to get to our room. Note: I know this is standard in motels, as most rooms are accessible from outside, but I expect different from a hotel property. The Awesome: My family and I were very impressed with the complimentary breakfast offered. We stayed for a couple nights, so had a couple different breakfast choices on the two mornings we were there. We were very pleased it was definitely more than just your standard complimentary breakfast fare. Each day, there were a couple of different hot options such as bacon, eggs and hash browns on one day, and Canadian ham, eggs and waffles complete with real whipped cream and fruit topping on the next. The breakfast staff were wonderful! They were friendly and always made sure everything was regularly replenished, so there was definitely enough to keep our bellies full. (With two growing boys it was definitely a great bonus!) Beverage options include several varieties of fruit juices, coffees and teas. There were different kinds of breads to toast to your liking, muffins and pastries along with standard butter, jams and peanut butter. Cold options included different yogurts, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, and several cold cereals and oatmeal with fruit topping. Another bonus is that there were even alternate milk options such as almond and oat milks. All in all, a good clean hotel, awesome breakfast and is definitely a better stay than most in Abbotsford.

Absolutely awful. Even though I had prepaid in full for the room I was denied access because I didn't have a credit card. Not everyone carries credit cards. I had cash and debit but was simply told to go away. The employee at reception was zero help. I me zero. She couldn't have cared less. Fortunately I was travelling alone and with out children. No refund offer, no suggestions, no help, they had their money now I could just go away.

First of all the front desk staff could be more accommodating for people that arrive early. Yes, I do understand there is a check in time, but when you see the whole parking lot is empty and you know the rooms are already being cleaned in certain sections of the hotel do you think they'd be able to fit us in. In room 408 it was full of ants. There was ants in the bathroom and under the bed ants under the TV stand everywhere. God for bid if you dropped a piece of food on the floor. And the parking lot was horrible. It would be recommended that you have more accesses into your hotel room from different areas of the parking lot.

I've stayed here twice now and it's always been great. The rooms are CLEAN clean (and I have high standards), the staff are friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast is not just edible- but good! They totally saved my butt at 2:00am after I checked in to a hotel nearby that was so disgusting I couldn't stay. One call to Best Western and 15 minutes later I was in my clean, comfortable room.

Clean, quiet facilities and rooms. Easy to get to, access to restaurants, shopping and the highway to Vancouver. Breakfast was just okay and service was excellent. But if you are planning to hit the gym/spa early, know that at this facility it only opens at 7 am

Staff and rooms were great. Location was great with a Rickies Restaurant part of the complex. The breakfast buffet was better than most, with fresh fruit and omelettes, sausage and Canadian back bacon - everything you'd want and more.

Right on Hwy #1. Has noise dampening rooms. Very large and comfortable rooms good beds as well as fridge and microwave. Breakfast was good and location is great for airport or Tradex events. We would stay at this location again.

Good room and really nice staff. Room was clean and supplied well for soap, shampoo etc. Typical BW hotel. Didn't use pool or Gym but they were open and available during my stay. Breakfast was OK and had a decent variety of food and drinks available. Overall - All good.

Breakfast (hot breakfast) was delicious and location was excellent! Check in and check out very smooth. Just try to avoid ground floor rooms as noises from water pipes upstairs can be disruptive, especially at night.

When we arrived at the hotel we checked in and went to our room. When we arrived the toilet already has urine and toilet paper in it! How gross! Obviously the bathroom had not been cleaned. Very disappointed

I travel quite a bit (13 nights in the past month) and whenever possible stay at Hilton properties. Well this time they were unavailable in the Abbottsford area and I took a chance on this Best Western Plus due to the reviews of this property. And I'm certainly glad I did. This hotel has obviously just completed a complete renovation - Clean, large, comfortable room - friendly and accommodating staff, and probably the best complimentary breakfast I've experienced since Covid hit.

The rooms in the poolside of the hotel are so noisy the ground floo where we stayed has the breakfast area, but the door between the breakfast areas and the rooms was never closed therefore every morning the noise from that area was sonorous you couldn't sleep, the rooms above us sounded like an elephant was thumping around for hours all in all very disappointed with this hotel and it was the same tha least time we used it but the location is close to family

The hotel did not provide breakfast and Ricky's restaurant is expensive. Coffee and toast that cost less than $2.00, priced at $8.00. Also the hotel charging $8.00 for a pint of beer during our social is a rip off.

I have stayed here every time I visit Abbotsford to see my Mom who is in a home close by. What a great place to stay. The staff are awesome, rooms are impeccable, and there is a family atmosphere. As I titled this…The Best of the West in Abbotsford.

Checking in on Friday evening with a sports team, I immediately discovered that our toilet was poopy. It looked like someone had had some fecal matter on their fingers and dragged in down the tank of the toilet when they flushed. The contamination was as pictured as well as in a few other spots. I approached the front desk in a reasonable manner and was told that housekeeping had gone home and that rooms were fully booked. The receptionist then stopped speaking. I stood for a moment, expecting some sort of solution. I am not picky and can tolerate most things, but not poop. When the receptionist seemed to be waiting for me to just go away I asked if she could at least provide some disinfectant and paper towel for me to clean the toilet myself. I was provided with what I requested and told I would receive follow up the next day. The follow up never happened. This was gross and very disappointing.

The hotel was very clean and a very good staff that answered any questions that I had on things to do or places to see. The restaurant food was very good and the staff very good. I will stay there again

This hotel offered an excellent breakfast which included honey for my tea, oatmeal, French toast, and fresh fruit slices. the Kitchen staff were very friendly and hardworking ladies. the only thing I didn't like is that I had to take a short walk over to the next building to get breakfast.

The hotel was quiet despite being full and the beds are very comfortable. I slept very well. Rooms are clean and you have everything you need including a great breakfast and pool area. Would stay again.

Very clean hotel,close to Hwy nr1. Very friendly helpful staff. Needed to to stay in Abbotsford since we missed a flight. If you don't have a car you need to walk approx 2 km to get to some restaurants.

Staff went above and beyond To make our stay to good one. The water tester person saw that WE noticed that there was only one towel on the pool deck and right a way in the middle of his testing he radio in for more towel with out us even asking. This is one of a few things that was done.

The beds were comfortable, traffic noise was noticeable until about 11:00 but after that it was not a problem. The restaraunt connected was a real bonus after driving all day. The food was good and generous.

Had stayed here a few years ago and it was an OK hotel. Since then prices have sky rocketed $225 for a very mediocre room, with two uncomfortable queen beds, lumpy pillows and a poor breakfast in a hot, overcrowded breakfast room

Room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds and nice linens.Staff were welcoming and helpful.There were abundant choices in the breakfast room. I would definitely choose this hotel for a stay in the area.

Everything was great! Varied selection of hot and cold breakfast items. Staff pleasant and welcoming. Rooms spacious. Affordable restaurant attached that offered friendly, accommodating staff and very good food,

Compared to our stay for the same weekend last year, it cost twice as much this year. However, everything was clean and comfortable And the included buffet style breakfast had a great variety of hot items and cold items and fruit. I recommend this hotel 100%.

Accomodations were great staff was very helpful friendly and very accomodating. I would stay here again.The rooms were very nice and the beds were heavenly.The rooms were well looked after and the room service was great

6am -10am Excellent free breakfast-rotating menu: sausage or ham, scrambled eggs or cheese omelet, hashbrowns, toast, French toast, fresh blue and raspberries with whip cream spray, mixed melon pineapple and grapes, whole apples and oranges, muffins, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate( food quickly replenished). 2 pools with hot tubs( one in each building), great location, kids under 12 stay free so ok if have 3 kids with 2 adults in a room, decent internet and cable tv, cooling air condtioner, safe area, parking lot monitored by cameras. I will stay here again with my family

Noisy and over-priced; sketchy part of town. Terribly over-priced during summer peak season. Staff seemed attentive and helpful. Breakfast was ok; ample room, good selection of fruit. Clean rooms, plenty of towels. Rooms not facing freeway are quieter, but overall seemed like a noisy night.

Front desk was welcoming. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Pricing was average for the area. Had a pleasant stay. Would recommend this hotel to any one who asked about hotels in this area. I would stay again

The breakfast was a real let down. Paper plates. Plastic cutlery and food below average. Not up to best westerns usual standard.. Hotel itself was well presented we had a comfortable stay.. Staff were friendly and helpful

We paid $330 per night to sleep in a room 30ft from the main Canadian Highway!!..it was a joke..you couldn't not even hear yourself speak We never had our room cleaned the entire 4 days!!!, same old towels disgusting! I'm a best western member means nothing Staff were rude the entire place should be condemned to the ground with the staff $1000 wasted never ever again Best Western No clean towels No room service Rude untrained staff

Nice hotel, easy to get to, though close to the highway so you can hear the traffic if your on that side of the hotel. One of the few hotels I've stayed in where the Hot Tub was actually hot. AC needs to be improved. Beds to soft for us but you can't make everyone happy. Maintenance man was fantastic got me access to a better computer and printer when the new printer provided to the guests failed to print

This modern, clean hotel is located just out of the busy Metro area but close to traffic arterials. Our room was beautifully set out and very clean. Love those clean, no carpet floors. Good quality coffee was available in the lobby as well as in the room. Would have liked to see a better breakfast offering. By 6:45 it seemed awfully picked over

Slippery floor, low, low toilet. No grab bars (one for tub) . Not senior friendly, my husband worried about slipping and struggled with toilet. Too few accessible rooms, non available for our trip. Funny smell in room and halls.

The bath tub wasn't draining. I called and told the front manager and she came in with housekeeping. She had housekeeping open the tap and then said “it's draining” I told them when I showered my child it wasn't draining as he stood in his own dirty bath water and they kept looking and doubting. The most insulting parts were: 1. The manager said go to the pool area to shower. Which I was appalled by and refused to do. 2. Shower and leave the room and we will come and drain it. I also refused 3. Do you know you have to remove the drain spout? I told her I had a tub at my home. What an insult and very poor response from the manager. I ended up missing my morning appointment and had to check out to another hotel which was way better with great staff and great working amenities. The manager needs to do better and the hotel should consider hiring a team of staff that value and actually listen to customers.

Very noisy hotel. There was no staff monitoring halls..dogs barking..people sitting in hallways. We asked to move and were told no rooms to move. Breakfast was tepid and contained mostly processed foods. Not many healthy choices beyond fruit.

The staff were all out to lunch messed up my resos of a bunch of rooms 5 times and still didn't get them right. All the staff but one were very rude and none of our cards worked. Rude people there that don't seem to like kids very not kid friendly. Not a place that you can make any noise or talk since everyone can hear you.

Staff were great, check in was fast and the girl behind the desk were super helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. My only complaint is that we were able to hear everything in the hallway outside our door. We were in the building across the parking lot from check in, on the second floor, and it was much louder then when we had stayed in the main building in a previous stay. Still it wouldn't stop us from staying again.

I experienced noise from kids and adults at all hours of the night. Kids running the halls, Adults down in the common area at 1:45am. While the hotel tried to make it right they admit in their 2nd building (where there is not front desk, just a common area and rooms) that they get noise complaints due to kids. I am a business traveler and rely on at least decent sleep, that was not had here.

I had an issue with my Priceline reservation not going through, there was a technical error. The front desk clerk Palak was extremely helpful in taking care of the issue, she stayed on the phone for over an hour to get it resolved. The rooms are clean and there's quick access to the highway. I can confirm the furniture in the lobby is also comfortable as I was sitting there for an hour while my reservation was being fixed.

All of the hotel staff that I interacted with was great. The room was clean, Ricky's is just across the parking lot for fairly decent coffee in the morning. Will stay there again if there's a reason to stay in Abbotsford.

Hotel has all the basic needs. Front desk staff is very cooperative and courteous. Housekeeping is eye catching. Room amenities are meeting the expectations. Excellent internet connection. Good breakfast. They can improve in breakfast by having more vegan options.

Convenient location, top notch personnel, quality breakfast. 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby is so lovely. Great amenities. All of the staff went above and beyond to make my stay the best ever!!!!

The front desk staffs are very friendly & handle the problems very fast, good room services, facilities are clean and tidy , many variety of hot breakfast options and staffs are very polite & keep the place clean all the time

This is one of our favorite places to stay in Abbotsford. Close to freeway for easy access. Clean, well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, good internet connection speeds and a very good restaurant attached. Will definately be back.

Front desk was so friendly, helpful and professional. My room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was like a full buffet. Well done, Best Western. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

No On Demand or options to order movies. You had to watch the scrolling TV guide from the 80s to see what was available to watch. Very outdated considering all the viewing options out there these days.

Rooms a bit tired and hard to control the heat, but room was very spacious (two queen deluxe) I enjoyed having the free hot breakfast which starts at 630. Made the value very good. Mattress a bit hard but overall this was the largest room I've ever stayed in so the space was nice. Definitely not a five star but very adequate.

I left my ID at the hotel, a staff member called to let me know it had been found and then it was mailed to me. Thank you so much for going above and beyond by returning my ID by registered mail! Enjoyed the breakfast too!

I was disappointed with the way the hotel staff handled the issue of our room toilet backing up. It flooded the floor of our bathroom and started to flow toward the carpet. We ended up putting towels down in an attempt to stop it from going to the carpet of our room. When we phoned down to get it fixed, we got a plunger and towels delivered for us to fix the problem! The front desk person phoned the maintenance staff but they were not going to come in after hours. We were asked to unplug the toilet, wipe up the water with the towels and then put the wet towels in a bag to put out in the hallway. I now know why the room was stinky when we arrived.

Dirty spair pillo...sick!!!! We requested an early check in at booking and was told it should not be a problem. Was there at noon to request for hopefully a noon check in. Called back several times. Was able to finally get in at 4pm. The hotel was not full there were rooms available but they would still not accomidate us. Anyways I do not recommend this cheaply dated best western. I stay in a lot of places for work and travel so believe me when I say this place does not have integrity.

My family and I stayed here in August of 2021. We reserved a one bedroom suite with a pull out queen sized sofa bed in the living room. Upon arrival, we discovered the pull out queen sized sofa bed was actually a flimsy velvet futon that when expanded was slightly wider than a single bed. It was too small for our young children or a single adult. Despite our complaints, we were not moved to a different room. We ended up having to purchase a second room - with two queen sized beds - for the second night of our stay for me and our children. My husband snores very loudly so we when we travel, we specifically book hotel rooms with a separate bedroom. Bottom line: if you are planning to sleep ANYONE (children or adults) on the pull out queen sized sofa bed - reserve a different hotel. As an aside, I note that Best Western customer care took over two months to respond to our complaint and has said there is nothing they can do for us as it is not their responsibility.

I paid for my room when I made the reservation with my credit card online, which worked fine. I arrived at the hotel at 8:00 pm and the staff needed to take a $50 'incidentals' (i assume for potential bar and paid TV charges), i was not intending to use either but I understand their concerns. Unfortunately my credit card (the same one used above to pay for the room) would not let me pay for the 'incidentals' fee and I did not have another credit card. The hotel machine could only allow the card chip read and could not accommodate the tap feature. (this is a key point i would later find out) The hotel would not take a debit card, cash or a call in from my wife for the 'incidental' fee. At 11:30 at night I was left without a place to stay the night, and without a refund by the inflexibility and insensitivity of the BEST WESTERN desk clerk and the assistant manager. The desk clerk contacted the assistant manager while I was away on the phone with my credit card bank (TD Visa) trying to find out what was wrong with my credit card. It turned out that the account was fine, The Visa card could be used for internet and tap functions but could not be used for chip functions because the chip had been disabled. The TD Visa representative on the east coast could not understand how the one function was disabled and i was pretty upset that the TD Visa credit card did not advise me that there was a problem. That's an opportunity for another different review I think. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT I PAID FOR A ROOM AND BECAUSE BEST WESTERN NEEDED TO CHARGE ME FOR AN ITEM THAT I WAS NOT USING I DID NOT GET TO STAY IN THE ROOM I PAID FOR AND I DID NOT GET A REFUND. For your information i do not see anything in their website about requiring an 'incidentals' payment, with credit card chip only. They could have easily taken that 'incidentals' fee at the time of booking and this breach of customer / vendor agreement that my payment of the room rate created would have been avoided. What lesson did I learn form this: one of the biggest hotel chains in Canada has a policy that creates a very limited and potentially catastrophic end result for their customers if they do not have a credit card when they register for their stay.

This was a lovely hotel with friendly staff and a spotlessly clean room. Our room hat a kitchenette with a sink, fridge and microwave plus plates etc. Bed was comfortable and we both had a good night sleep here and a good breakfast the next day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Abbotsford and would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is fairly well-situated, but it is definitely not the closest to Abbotsford airport, that would be the Sandman, so whatever.First annoying thing. Second annoying thing. I paid in full for two rooms. When we arrived on a rainy, late Saturday afternoon - all the reception guy needed from me was my ID and my vehicle registration details. Everything else was documented and paid for. Yet I stood there for about 20 minutes while multiple computer keys were tapped, and I had to do a pre-authorisation for $100 for "incidentals" This is not a full-service hotel, there is no tempting bar, not even a bar fridge and the adjacent restaurant "Ricky's" not my style. He also took my ID away for an unnecessarily long time and I think he might have made a copy of it. Again, not necessary. The rooms were fine, bed comfortable, seemed clean - but there was some sort of over-powering air freshener in use. I am not averse to fragrances but this was really bad. Smelled like a cheap toilet cleaner. I happen to know that this is an older hotel that has obviously been nicely updated so I am not sure what old smells that are trying to hide. Check-out was also a bit laborious. Other good things. Lots of free parking, and a liquor store just across the road.

Best Western seemed to be following all the covid protocols which made us feel very comfortable during our stay.. Masks in all public areas. Breakfast area was very clean and staff was helpful and attentive.

Our first night stay the bed was lumpy the pillows smelled Like they had not been washed. And the noise was terrible. Second night they moved us to a new room the bathroom had mould and the TV didn't work we called three times for someone to come fix it and nobody came checking in and out took forever and no urgency with the staff. Would never recommend that Best Western plus I give it a zero for sure.

My family of 3 decided to stay at this hotel, as a few other choices had already been filled. We have stayed in many BW's so we had no reservations about booking the BW Regency Inn. The rooms are small, but quite clean. The linens smelled very fresh. That was nice. Floors were ceramic tile, so have slippers or socks on if you are the type to get cold! Check-in was fine, we are Diamond members, so used to get little treat bags, but with Covid happening, that has ceased, and we are more than ok with that! We asked for our complimentary waters. We were given 2. My daughter and I love to use pools at the bugles we go to, so it was a given we were going to use this one! Pros: it was warm, and no one else was around. Cons: it was super dirty. It was as though someone emptied dryer lint traps, and put the stuff in the pool! It was by far, the dirtiest pool I e ever been in. The Hot tub was clean though. And it was nice and hot! Would we stay here again? I am decided. Probably, but that pool though….

The staff here is wonderful - Haley remembered me, found me a room and made me feel like home when I checked in! Great customer service! When I was traveling here monthly, all staff remembered me amd all were kind - Haley was exceptional!

We were very pleased with everything about our stay! Room was very clean and comfortable. The best free breakfast , choices of hot sausages, omelette, french toast, hash browns, also cereal, fruit and yogurt. Loved it!

Excellent front desk staff and very nice hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient when we checked in and when I went back the next day for more coffee. The lobby is nice, the rooms are lovely. The hotel does not seem very old but it is very well maintained and seems like new. This is my second stay here and it was as good as the first time I was here. Their covid practices are great.

Very nice hotel! Rooms are presentable and clean. Staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast is included. They also have a swimming pool. Only downside is that they can be a bit expensive but overall great hotel and very comfortable.

Sorry, that this doesn't tell you much about the hotel, which is the point of online reviews, but you might need to double check with management if you have special requests for this hotel. I made my reservation very late at night. Here is why that was the case for me. My family was under Evacuation Alert due to multiple forest fires in our area. We decided to leave before an Order as there were so many highway closures in BC that if the rain hadn't come when it did (thank goodness), it would have been chaotic. As soon as we decided to leave, I immediately booked a hotel away from forest fires, with enough room for my kids, my wife, myself and our cat. I called late at night and spoke to the hotel about our needs. I thought the price was a little high, but I just wanted a break for my family from the smoke and from checking the hills every hour (and the accompanying lack of sleep). We left very early the next morning and arrived at the hotel early. I went to inquire about the earliest possible check-in time and was informed that my cat was not one of the pets the hotel would welcome. The official pet policy on the website said that "Pets may be accepted. Contact the hotel directly for full details." I very much did so as I have never taken my cat to a hotel and had no idea what the policy would be. To drive several hours to find out I had no hotel in the middle of an already stressful situation was not welcome. There wasn't really any effort to help me find an alternative, just a quick, oops, we would take your cat if it was a service animal kind of comment and that's it. I had to head out to the parking lot and find a new hotel on my phone while my family waited. Horrible start to our first hotel vacation since pre-covid.

Fly out of Abbotsford for work as Kamloops was grounded due to smoke. Breakfast could have some bacon and pancakes otherwise just average. A little high priced. Just looking for a room for the night and thought the name brand would be nice option but it was just average

Great hotel to stay in. Nice, clean and up to date rooms. Was a very quiet hotel, couldn't hear any noise from the highway which was close. Had a really good breakfast included. Rooms were clean and modern. Great hotel! Definitely stay here again!

Excellenbt location for airshow and center of town access. Rooms are well dressed, though a few points: Floors are white laminate wood- if darkness is important, the bottom of the door cut out needs to be blocked with a towel, as the reflection is pretty intense, from the hallway. Sound proofing is EXCELLENT- don't be put off by the proximity to hwy one- you can't really hear ir, even as white noise. Black out curtains worked very well, as the parking lot is well lit, for nighttime security. All room amenities worked well. HVAC is a bit loud, but no worse than some portable AC units. Beds were very comfortable, as were the pillows. on the third floor, you may get some early morning ‘noise' from the bath plumbing, if Housekeeping didn't close the tub valve tightly, when other guests fire up their shower. the bathroom sink is seperate from the water closet and shower/tub- a nice feature, I've found. Staff were helpful and efficient. A very nice property, excellent overall value for money.

Booked on GOC rate of 119.00$Can directly with hotel. Check in was fast (did a e-check in the day before). Place was packed. There are 2 buildings and I got the one with pool and breakfast area. Room was big, queen bed, sofa, lcd tv with plenty of channels, microwave and fridge, clean bathroom. The pool was a bit smaller than expected but did the job. Jacuzzi was warm but the pump did not seem to work to create the water jet. Breakfast was weak point. Dry scrambled eggs, French Toast, no meat, whole wheat bread, cereals, yogurt, coffee and juice. Breakfast area is well appointed but was full at 6h30am.. And not very covid safe as most people were not wearing a mask while serving themselves. Ate outside in the nice patio. Plenty of parking, good wifi, and plenty of restaurants in the area (big Indian community so lots of curry choice) Over-all, recommended.

My children and I spent 6 wonderful nights at Best Western Regency in Abbottsford. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable and the amenities were good. A nice, nutritious breakfast was available and the staff were excellent.

Room was clean and very up to date . Was actually way beyond are expectations so that was a real treat . All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this location again!

We attempted to stay as part of a team as we were playing in a local tournament. We found out a few days before that they could not accommodate our pet as they ran out of pet friendly rooms. We were disappointed but understood. We went to check in with the team and found out they had canceled our room and there were no rooms available. Very disappointed. We would not recommend this hotel to any traveller.

The reception was very friendly and personable. The room was nicely decorated, air conditioner, fridge, microwave wave and coffee maker, washer, dryer and ice machine on the first floor. Very quiet. Pool and hot tub was a bonus and an excellent breakfast.

Easy to get to hotel tucked away from highway. Just down the street from Abbotsford hospital. Generally good rooms with free parking. Would give it a higher rating but was checked in and ended up with a room someone was already in… was then told hotel was full and only got a room because someone cancelled.

The staff were very helpful. We got stuck across the border during our visit and the staff went above and beyond by storing our bags and ensuring they were safe when we were gone. They kept our bags safe and adjusted our reservation when we needed to end our stay a night early.

Well located, good restaurant beside the hotel. Clean room, quiet. All the staff were super friendly. There is a breakfast offered; standard COVID breakfast. Nothing special; we went to the restaurant beside the hotel for our second morning breakfast.

Close to (and on the same road) as Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Room was very clean; bed was neatly made with fresh, white linens/covers and very comfortable. Internet, parking and covid-adapted breakfast (grab and go) was included. Noticed trucks/cars travelling on highway and fridge humming in wee hours because everything else was so quiet. Booked last minute and received best value using BW online site; "A" at front desk was very helpful and efficient with covid protocols, check-in and check-out.

Room was spacious, clean and inviting. Beds were firm and comfortable, sheets were clean as was the room. Liked the no carpet floor. Favourite place in Abbotsford to stay. Overall very pleasant stay and highly recommend to everyone.

Was a great option, was there when we needed it. Was able to come in off the highway after a busy day and find a good restaurant for the kids and I, while we were waiting for our food I went to check us into the hotel. Was super quick and easy, very friendly and totally respected my medical exemption for not wearing a mask. As did the restaurant and even supported me when another customer far away complained that I and my 3 young children were unmasked. Room was good, had all the amenities and was suitable clean enough. I do usually find though a lack of suitable plug ins for computers or such. The plug ins in the lamps are usually (this time too) very loose and do not hold the plug tight enough. Great stay, they let us stay a bit longer to have a slow morning. Only down side was the pool not being open, i could have used a soak in the hot tub. Oh and the breakfast was pretty sad, adults got a muffin (was not good at all) an apple granola bar and a bag of apple slices (soft but sort of better than McDonalds) and then there was a foil bag of 2 pancakes that were not great. There was also orange juice boxes (no other option) a 0% yogurt (Ughh no taste) and small water bottle. The kids breakfast box was just apple slices and an orange juice box, not much of a breakfast even if you added a cardboard pancake and fake yogurt. :( Good thing there was a Ricky's next door.

I have stayed at many Best Western properties and this one was your average hotel. I did find the property to be older but had everything I needed. My stay was pleasant. There was a housekeeping issue that I raised with the front desk and the clerk awarded me extra points. I would stay here again but honestly it is an average hotel.

Extremely pleased with the cleanliness and what appeared to be recent upgrades. No carpeted floor but new laminate making it feel much cleaner! Reasonable rates as well. Breakfast options were very satisfactory too.

l checked in under quaruntine guidelines . my personal belongings were all thrown out ...l was treated like a villan . Not one staff member listened to me and kicked me out after l was cleared of covid and not required to be under quaruntine at all . Treated my elderly mother like garbage and charged her that 500 dollars for long distance calls with no previous warning to me . kicked me out on the street ....had no way of food delivery ....from asia kicked me out for smoking cigarettes under quaruntine meanwhile other people quaruntining from asia , the states and britian were allowed to walk there dogs ....go down to continental breakfast and smoke ...... ended up waiting in the cold a3nd having all my belongings taken as the police were used as as a scare ploy ? bullying judging tactics l just couldnt believe the staff members and how they had preconceived judgement that was totally wrong . you kicked me out of my hotel that was paid for up front . you charged my elderly mom who was helping out her daughter ridiculous amounts of money .....you are being reported to many places like the buisness bureau ect .....you should be shut down ....you run a gong show hotel where rules are based on racism and judgement . l deserve an apology and a refund . The Hotel was following all guidelines for the BC Protocols. I have stayed here before and nothing had really changed. The resturant attached was open for food but reduced hours. I do like the renovations that were made a while back.

If you need to be closer to Vancouver general hospital this is place to stay. Location is great in walking distance from some medical centers and VG hospital. Some great restaurants locate on the same street. Room was liitle outdated but very clean.Hotel has undergound parking with security cameras.

This hotel in Abbotsford, BC is a lovely hotel. It is very clean & well organized. We stay in Best Western Hotels a lot but really like this small hotel the best. From Victoria, Butte Montana, St. George. Utah to St. Albert, Alberta we like this hotel in Abbotsford the best.

Spent one night in the 2 bedroom suite. Pleasantly surprised that it was two levels. This is the only hotel we've stayed in during Covid and it was very clean, we were the only group in a pre-booked time at the pool, and despite being a brown bag breakfast it was more than enough. The space and comforts of home were much enjoyed before our flight home.

We were located in 114 off the main lobby of the hotel and were very happy with the room comfort and immaculate clean accommodations. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and the hotel was extremely quiet in spite of it's close proximity to the highway which made access very easy.

Excellent hotel close to the Abbotsford airport - recent renovation - clean and bright- Great breakfast at Rickys restaurant which is attached- There is also a bar attached as well. Would recommend if flying out the next day. Very convenient.

BEWARE!! There is a level of anger almost impossible to reach on vacation, yet learning by accident our hotel was being used to quarantine Covid travellers caused almost instantaneous stress and anxiety. Had we not been checking in when the supposedly quarantined traveller's pizza delivery arrived, I'm sure we would have never been informed. While the travellers were supposed to be confined to their rooms with no outside access they somehow managed to pop out to pick up their food delivery. Had we known our room was in the Covid wing and the lax rule enforcement by the hotel, we would have chosen ANYWHERE else. However, not knowing the area and coming in during the middle of a rainstorm, we made the difficult decision to stay. Perhaps that's why they make you prepay. Regardless, Best Western you have lost our future business.

It's our second visit here, the hotel is a bit confusing since there are 2 different buildings. Parking can be an issue since the restaurant next door takes up a lot of parking spaces. The first time we stayed here, we had great breakfasts, very good food and pleasant seating, not so with Covid-19.

Stayed here on Aug 27, This was convenient and close to the airport. there are 2 buildings, we were in the 2nd building which was on the same property. Check in was quick and simple. Our room was neat and clean. Only flaw was the ice machine in our building did not work, had to walk to the main building to get ice. Due to Covid, there was a bagged continental breakfast that we just took to our room. I would stay here again

We stayed here for one night on our way through to the Island. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We need a few pieces of cutlery and some plates and they had no trouble in getting us some. The room itself was immaculate, the beds were comfy, the shower was great. It's truly was a great nights sleep. They have a pool, we didn't get to use it because you had to book a time slot re the “Rona” Breakfast was included but not a buffet, it was an orange juice, a muffin, a cereal bar and a packet of fruit in a brown paper bag. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here during new years time so it's rather a late review.. Location was suggested by Rohan from Calgary Best Western since we use calgary hotel for meetings. Visited this property with family & friends and it was truly amazing as described by rohan. Front desk staff was great, great service and worth the price I paid for. Must stay hotel for all our future !!

I Had a great stay, both this, and the last time i was in abbotsford. Great staff. Great location for my purpose. Beds were super comfortable, rooms were clean and spacious. Look forward to my next stay.

It was good for a 1 night stay. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. No continental breakfast due to Covid. Not a super quiet location due to proximity to highway. Parking spots were very narrow. Rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable.

My review for this hotel is definitely mixed. The location was good and the family suite had plenty of beds which were very comfortable. The room was clean and the hotel quiet. My complaint is that the room felt like a dungeon. The windows were extremely small and overlooked a roof/sign. The suite was small for a family of 6. It is suitable for a two night stay or less because of this. The bedroom door barely closed due to lack of space. The Covid take away breakfast was lacking big time and included water or juice, a packaged baked good,cereal bar and apple slices. Perhaps a cooler with yogurt people could grab to add would be good? Protein is necessary for a balanced breakfast. In short we'd probably stay again but not in room #571.

Excellent place to stay clean and well organized. Had no problems checking in the ladies at the front desk were super.Also the room was exactly as advertised unlike other hotels in the area. thank you best western for making my trip alot less stressful

Front desk employee was very kind, and helpful, appreciated the willingness to arrange some changes. clear speaking, greatly informative, warm and welcoming. Everything in the room was at the best quality. For over night. Hope to get a room with bigger fridge next stay for the stay will usually be 3+ night at a time.

This was our first time to this BW Hotel. We were traveling for business during Covid. We made our reservations over the phone with front desk while traveling , very quick and efficient. The hotel was easy to find in the dark and had ample parking which for us was a necessity as we were towing a large boat. Front desk staff were very accomodating, and security assisted us in parking our rig in a location it coulkd be observed . For that we were appreciative. The room althoigh slightly smaller thaan we are used to was excellent. Clean and well appointed. Nice bed with nice linens. We will stay here again in the future should we be in the area. Value for price paid is excellent.

Our home flooded and we came here to stay while repairs were completed. Your staff went over and above to provide us comfort and service that was amazing. Cost was very efficient, Room was spacious and cozy making it possible to enjoy our stay during a very stressful time. Best experience ever! Thank you

Had an excellent stay. The pool area was still sort ofunder construction, but i was still able to use the hot tub, I had a very comfortable stay here, and as long as the price is right i will stay here again. The attached restaurant was good, and i had all my needs met. Would recommend this hotel to others. The breakfast was also awesome for a hotel breakfast as it was more than just some stale muffins and such. There were some real breakfast foods, and that alone is worth the stay.

Gurleen helped up check in after a long day of travels. She kept the pool open until 11 instead of 10. She was very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. She also made sure to inform me of the breakfast and other hotel amenities.

This hotel was convenient to get to airport and shopping. Unfortunately due to Covid 19 the pools and hot tubs, gym and breakfast program were not available. Our rooms were fantastic and comfortable. Plan to stay here again

Rooms were clean, bed was comfy. The Breakfast was fantastic. The front desk staff were peticularly helpful. We had not made a reservation, but they were very kind and managed to accommondate us. Staff was pleasent from front desk , breakfast staff and housekeeping.

Hotel is always a reliable place to stay. Included breakfast is one of best available. Reliable internet service throughout hotel and rooms. Staff are helpful and courteous. This hotel is my regular "go to" when visiting the Abbotsford area.

hotel was great wonderful rooms clean and great pool. the only things not good where the included breakfast had nothing hot when we showed up at 9:30. Plus very limited options for gluten dairy free. then the evening for supper the attached restaurant Rickys screwed up our order multiple times and we had two small children and it took two hours to eat, Not ideal with kids getting restless

This hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfy. The location is very close to YXX as well as shops and restaurants. We received a great reception from Jazmin at the front desk upon arrival and also with the staff upon check out. The breakfast was probably one of the best continental breakfasts I've ever had at this type of hotel. Would highly recommend a stay here.

After initial check-in, found out there were two buildings and I was not in main building. Fine, picked up my luggage and went for a long, long walk to my room. Entry cards did not work. Long, long walk back to main building. Finally re-allocated to new room in main building. Staff congenial but did not really understand my issues. No local restaurants. Away from any stores or local facilities. Rooms clean and sufficient but will not return in future.

Checked in Dec 12, 2019 but had to leave. Room was untouched but the large white lady manager told me too bad. Once you've checked in it's too late... she refused to have some one view the room so I went back and threw a few towels on the floor and messed up the bed. Went back to office and gave them my key but they still refused to check me out.., what-ever... an hour later she calls me, tells me I flooded the room and she has charged my credit card in the amount of $300.00. I said I'll be there in 10 minutes to review these ‘damages'. She then told me if I entered the property she would have me arrested!!, well visa refunded the $300.00... No surprise that visa agreed this was a fraudulent charge... I can't wait to see what happens next!!

Due to my apartment flooding I was staying here for 60 days with my 2 young boys (6 & 9). The hotel in general was decent and the maintenance/buffet/housekeeping staff was exceptional. The hotel began renovations a few days ago and I was instructed to change rooms on Feb 3. Upon returning to the hotel after work I watched as hotel staff was hauling all of my belongings across the parking lot and piling it in the lobby. I went to pick up my new room key and was told I was being evicted on the spot due to having my sons hamster in the room. I was not given the opportunity to remove the hamster to a friends house but was instead told by Breanna the front desk manager that I was dishonest and to leave the hotel immediately. I explained I was not here on vacation but in fact here because my home is under renovations. But myself and my two young boys were forced out on the street with zero notice ultimately homeless. I asked to speak to the general manager but Breanna refused to let me speak to anyone else. I've never been so humiliated in my life.

do not stay at the Best Western Plus Regency Inn and Conference Centre in Abbotsford. Under construction again. No discount for that. Hot tub not working. Place is dirty and smelly. I ask for some help from the front desk and they said they could not help me.

Convenient location to the Abbotsford Airport. Rooms have been recently renovated and facilities such as breakfast was very convenient. Unfortunately the rooms are so noisy so we were unable to get very little sleep. The footsteps from upstairs sounded like a giant on my roof and the toilet like a waterfall! Other than no sleep it was a convenient stay!!!

This was a layover hotel for a very early flight the next morning. Our trip had been delayed 2 days because of the weather and rather than travel from Chilliwack to the airport in Abbotsford in the early morning, we stayed here the night before the flight. Hotel staff were very kind to arrange a taxi for the morning and at a reasonable price. A great restaurant on site as well.

The room was very clean , I wish there was carpet in the room . The pool was very clean and was heated very nicely . And breakfast was fantastic! There was a big selection of food . And the lady at the front desk was very nice

Location close to airport which was important as we arrived later in the day. Room was clean and well equipped and bed was comfrtable. Hotel seemed busy but noise was not an issue. There was a hot and cold breakfast and breakfast room was very busy when we came for breakfast. Parking was ample. Front desk staff were very pleasant and friendly.

We had a fantastic stay at Bwest Western in Abbotford. Brianne was at the receptionist desk at check in and she was friendly and quick. Had a nice chat with both her and I am assuming the maintenance man. The room was wonderful!

No movies or gift shop as advertised on website .Hair in bathtub and in ice bucket .. Fridge not working and filled with gross water . Did not even try to make up for issues in any way to have us come stay again .

Found this hotel not only affordable but very clean, great amenities and excellent service. Our stay was only one night, but a great place to relax and enjoy the end of a trip! Proximity to the airport was key for us, but the entire experience was excellent.

This hotel AND there staff is by far the best I have ever been to. I'm on the road alot and it never fails that the staff and management will go out of there way to make sure yr happy. Gagan, Sarah and the rest of the crew, right down to the breakfast girls are truly amazing, if yr ever looking for a hotel that will treat you like you are home.. Choose this one! The reception, breakfast staff and housekeeping were all friendly and helpful. Reception helped me get my membership straightened out. The breakfast items were being replenished in a timely fashion. I had to ask housekeeping to let me back into our room because I had left a car key there.

Stayed here for one night before an early morning flight departure. It appears to be somewhat of a new hotel as there were not many signs of the normal wear and tear that hotels endure. My room with one king bed was very spacious and extremely modern so much that I was taken back with how nice it was. Check in was quick and pleasant. Lots of parking and a restaurant beside. The only negative is you could hear some noise from the Trans Canada highway but not enough to ruin the night.

We booked the reservation through a phone call while asking for a minimum queen size bed; and were offered the "Queen Room with Sofa Bed". The check in time was late (4 pm), but were accommodated when we asked for earlier check in (2 pm). The room (427) was shocking! The bed was a double bed, not queen, and was sinking. The kitchenette had its stove make a rattling sound. No carpet. The window was metres away from the window of a neighboring unit, and so we had no privacy. After mentioning this to the front desk, we were given new room (538). It was king size bed with no kitchenette (which we did not ask for to begin with). Much cleaner, much firmer bed, view to the outside, no rattling noise, quieter except the guests in the hallway. There was no room service, anything needed from toothbrushes, to towels to shampoo we had to walk to the building across, to the front desk to grab it. Breakfast was sub-par at best. Very confusing layout. If I had not been at a best western in the past, I would've not known of what is offered for breakfast. Overall, the staff is helpful and will try to accommodate your needs. However, this location is not a location that I'll be staying at.

We stayed at this property for one night prior to our flight out! The staff, room and breakfast were great. Our room was big enough for all of us (6 people, 4 kids and 2 adults) The staff were accomendating as friendly. Would definitely recommend this property.

We stay at this hotel everytime we go Abbotsford area.We stayed there last night and as soon as we walked in and gave our name we were recognized as Platinum members and free upgrade as well as great staff,they were very professional and polite,room was clean and quiet.We enjoy staying here and highly recommend this property.

Stayed for one night as part of a trip passing through on way to a business conference in Vancouver. Room was reserved on our behalf by some friends whom we were helping in the area the next day before continuing our travels, and overall the room was very nice, but the double bed mattress was way too firm. Have stayed at this hotel previously and never had a problem with a bed before, but never had a room with a double size bed either; mentioned the firmness of the mattress at checkout to front desk staff. Staff acknowledged the concern, but I suspect they cannot do much about it.

The front desk agent who checked me in was extremely efficient and kind during the entire process. She was very polite and professional also. I called down requesting a play pen and she brought it to me very quick. Nice decor and great location to the airport also!

I really like this hotel, everything you need is right there. The staff is very nice and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and smell good with pillows that are pleasing. The soaps are good quality and rooms are modern and very clean. It's a peaceful spot for being so closely located to Hwy 1, and also very conveniently located for the Abbotsford airport and pretty much anywhere you need to go in the GVRD.

Enjoyed my 2 nights here. For me the location worked great for touring the area. Lots of shops are services close by. Hotel is next to the highway, but quiet neighbourhood. Except at drop off time for the school across the street, then it's busy for that short time. Hotel had great service the whole time. Breakfast selection was decent, not the best, but worked well for free. Hotel is older and has been renovated, so it's decent but noticeable that it is older. Overall I was happy with the hotel and found it very peaceful. Only issue is that the pools are original so the one hot tub was not hot at all and had no working jets. The hot tub in the main building was hot, but jets didn't work well either.

Overall a good hotel. The location is not the best. It is off the highway but beside a school. The breakfast was excellent. Overall staff were attentive to needs. Would recommend staying here as it is a great value.

I stay at the Best Western Regency whenever I go to Abbotsford. I travel a far bit for work and this is a fantastic place to stay =. the newly refurbished rooms have made my stays even better - I'm always happy to see carpet removed - who knows what evil lurks in the pile. Stay here -its comfortable and the people that work here are great!

This property has two buildings. One is modern and clean. The other isn't. We checked in at the front lobby and were told that our room was in another building across the parking lot. It smelled musty as soon as we walked into the building. The carpet was dirty and frayed, the vinyl chairs were peeling. It just looks incredibly run down. The room was no better. It smelled like a wet basement. I put my bag down and my partner freaked out about me touching the disgusting carpet. Everything is shabby, smelly and falling apart. We've stayed in Best Westerns before and assumed this would be similar, maybe a bit better since it's a Best Western Plus. Not even close, the second building is shockingly bad. Luckily the staff were kind enough to move us into a room in the main building. They acted surprised by our complaint about the damp mouldy smell and told us they would be checking the room. After reading reviews I've noticed that the smell is a fairly common complaint and the staff must know about it. It would be better to just apologize.

If you do decide to stay here then ask for a room that is not near Ricky's restaurant. They decided to carpet clean from 11pm to 1am one night and the noise was so loud we could not sleep. Our room was directly above the restaurant sign so our window was blocked by the sign and was like a window well with lots of garbage in the window well. The hotel did nothing for us when we complained except offered ear plugs which we already had and were using. The toilet didn't flush properly and the tub drain did not drain at a normal rate so you ended up standing in water by the end of your shower.

I would stay here without looking anywhere else. Just walking in the staff made sure we were welcomed from the get go....the room was super clean and was just what we needed...some Quiet Time :) The pools were awesome and well taken care of....we enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and dinner all form Rickey's. We asked for Taxis at certain times and they showed up and called our room. Would give this Best Western a 10 out of 10.

Enjoyed staying here recently. Welcoming staff and a clean comfortable room. Bed linens and towels were good quality and fresh! The room was quiet and our sleep quality was excellent. The breakfast was great with a variety of hot and cold items to help yourself to. Ample free parking.

Stayed one night, we were given a complimentary upgrade to a king room. Th room was fresh, clean and had a large bathroom. Stocked with nice fluffy towels. Microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge were a bonus. Bed was comfortable and bed linens were good quality. Our room was extremely quiet, we slept well. The included breakfast buffet was also excellent, variety of hot and cold items. Ranging from Ham, eggs, French toast, fruits, cereal,croissants, muffins, etc. The desk staff were courteous and friendly at check in and check out. Will definitely be coming back !

Where to start. First, I left this hotel and sacrificed 20,000 points I'd redeemed for a free night and drove to the BW Merritt. Why? I checked in and was told that I would be placed in the same area as several kids' hockey teams. Having suffered though this before, I asked to be moved. “They agreed to our quiet policy” is what I was told. (Sure rye did!) I respectively asked to be moved again. Was told she could not move me AT ALL because I was on points. (Really??). As a Diamond Select member, I am also usually offered any room available. Not this time - because “you are on points”. So much for loyalty. So much for top tier status. After checking out my room - right beside the pool and breakfast area - I left. I drove to Merritt BC to one the the great BW properties. My 20k point donation to Abbotsford was out of principle. If you want good service - avoid this hotel. I will never be back.

We stayed for one night because we were flying out of the Abbotsford airport and it was perfect. The accommodations were very clean, comfortable and roomy. Breakfast was good and the staff was excellent.

My overall experience with Best Western has always been positive. I encountered a problem this last stay. I wanted to use the "stay two nights get the third night free". Best Western has changed their policy without letting anyone know. As I undkerstand it,you now have to call Best Western office, not the hotel to book your time. Same with using your Best Western accumulated points. The desk staff cznnot help you.

One of the nicest BW's we've ever stayed at. Upon arrival we were given a terrific upgrade which was totally beyond our expectations. The entire facility was superior and we would not hesitate to return again in the future.

Wonderful stay at this Best Western. Excellent breakfast buffet included, clean and modern rooms, staff were friendly, helpful and competent. Would highly reccommend staying here if you visiting this area. There is a convenient restaurant located just short walk away which we enjoyed having dinner at.

Easy access off Hwy 1. Rooms were clean and quiet. There was no noise that disturbed at all during the evening or night. Staff quite helpful and breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. Good value. Also appreciated the Gideon Bible in the room. thank you. We will use Best Western again.

This is an excellent property for anyone wanting a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. The property is currently undergoing upgrades, and the improvements are great. Rooms are very nicely appointed and spacious. The bed we had in the King Suite was very comfortable. The free breakfast featured a good selection of hot and cold items, and was very tasty. All staff we encountered were pleasant and efficient. A great value stay close to the Big City of Vancouver!

Required one room for two nights recently. Attempted to book over phone using all available phone numbers and also online. Received online message that hotel was unable to process order. I realized hours later that the hotel did accept my payment not once but twice, for two nights. I We booked elsewhere because order could not be completed. So now I am out of pocket several hundred dollars.

Admittedly, I am a hotel snob and I choose my properties carefully (Westin, Marriott, etc.) based on the quality and experience I know I can expect. When traveling to BC, I needed to stay in Abbotsford for work and Trip Advisor recommended this as the best hotel for the value. Before we even walked into the lobby, I knew I had made a mistake. The exterior of the building was shabby compared to the photos. The entire property smelled of disinfectant cleaning supplies; the carpet in the hallways was filthy; my room was not clean (hair in the bathtub) and the accommodations smelled of mold. I rarely write a negative review anywhere, because I know that employees are doing their best to make guest experiences good. I typically know what I'm in for with a certain hotel brand, but had no idea how disappointing this one would be.

This hotel was as comfortable as being in my own home. It was extremely clean and bright. The staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was good. I love that the room was NOT carpeted so I was not walking on lots of germs, etc.

The hotel is so awesome beautiful looking inside but super clean lots and lots of room all very modern and the rooms also very roomy and super clean the cleaning staff do an excellent job but the most I am so impressed is their breakfast not like the others and theirs is very very different. Real hot breakfast of different style of eggs, beacon, ham or sausages and any toast with many different fruits to choose from. Yap a real style breakfast and no other hotels I know offers the same

Upon arrival I was upgraded to the presidential suite just for being nice! Even if we had our regular room I am sure our experience would have been excellent as well! Staff are exceptional! Breakfast was great, and if you are catching a flight from Abbotsford Airport it is very close and easy to get to! Would recommend to everyone!

It looked great from the outside and the lobby was very good, after moving in and seeing the room it was a bit disapointing, very basic, lamminated floors, almost like a hotel at half the price, dont see why it is a PLUS Best Western

My wife and I stayed in your hotel for 6 days. We went down for the complimentary breakfast each and every morning. The staff there in particular Joan and Kelsey made our whole day that much better with their welcoming and extremely cheerful attitudes. We are really looking forward to returning and seeing them again next year.

Stayed here two nights while in the area. We found the room to be clean and well appointed without costly frills. Breakfast was very good. The only negative was able service with no menu, grainy picture and standard definition.

Decided to stay in abbotsford for the night and was looking for a hotel that wouldn't break the bank but would also be nice to stay in. This was definitely a great place. Our room was HUGE. We stayed in a king bed which also included a sink, microwave, counter, and mini fridge. There were even dishes and silverware for us to use. The only down side was the breakfast was your typical continental breakfast. You have to walk across the parking lot to another building where they provide eggs, bacon, cereal, cinnamon rolls, pastries, waffles and drinks. The food was a little stale considering it's open from 6:30-10 am. Would be great for kids though! Lots of choices, just not super high quality. Overall I'd reccomend this hotel!

Great staff upon arrival. Rooms ready, very comfortable. The only place to stay in Abbotsford, especially for me during my business trips. Easy to find and close to the major highways. Restaurant close if you do not want to drive anywhere.

I needed a quiet place to work on my book and the room I got was perfect! The check in was so easy... and the check out was the same! Great place... Told my husband that we need to use this hotel for our guests...and for ourselves !

This is a clean, comfortable hotel with a good breakfast. We liked the outdoor seating option at breakfast. We have a family of 5 and they gave us extra sheets to make our thermarest and sleeping bag more comfortable for our third big kid. The pool is tiny but well maintained.

Last minute call: We need a room fir the night in Abbottsford. Close of the highway. Large room with king bed. Renovated room. What awesome ; NO CARPET ! Just nice clean floor ! Staff was very helpful and nice. Pool and jacuzzi available and breakfast is included! Not just bread and fruits. An actual real breaky with eggs , ham , waffle. Best call ever from that road trip to stop there

All the staff members I interacted with were more than happy to assist me - absolutely superior customer service - other hotels should learn from this staff Room was clean and stocked Ricky's restaurant was sub-par - MUST be completely renovated/overhauled - horrible stench in the restaurant- dirty, dust covered trinkets everywhere - one person servicing tables - we didn't get served for 25+ mins.

The breakfast bar had a women employee if I remember correctly Kelsey made an amazing spread they even have waffles the front desk staff where all friendly and helpful was superised the pool was salt water so not smelling like chlorine is a added bonus

Did one night here after having to rebook flights. The staff were amazingly accommodating, let us check in early and check out late. Rooms were clean, the pools were well maintained and the complimentary breakfast was great.

At the outset I will say that most of the staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately they don't have the best product to represent to customers. Although they have been making some cosmetic changes to the property, we found both rooms we had booked for our family to be damp and musty. No amount of industrial hotel air freshener was able to cover that up. The hallway carpets were filthy and smelled heavily of smoke (in a non smoking property??). We were told that the carpets were going to be replaced but that did us no good during our stay. No one in either room slept well because of the noise all night - bedroom floors have new new laminate flooring so you hear everything from the room above. Drive right past this hotel on your search for accommodation as there are much better options available.

We are Best Western rewards members and have enjoyed many stays at the branded hotels throughout the world. Not sure how this place was awarded the Plus brand. Hotel is in two buildings with reception and business office in one building and pool and breakfast room in the other. Check in was unnecessarily long and staff were not helpful. Room was small, uncarpeted and dirty. Breakfast was inadequate but there is a Ricky's close by. Eat there but stay somewhere else. Not even close to value at this place.

We were going to Vancouver island and needed to overnight on the mainland. I booked the Best Western Plus because the reviews said it was good. Apparently they did not get the same room that we got. It smelled musty and damp. The smell did not improve overnight either as when I was woken up at various times during the night that was all I could smell. Don't let them put you in the building with the pool. It was too late by the time we got in it was too late to look for something different

We first visited June 2018 and enjoyed our stay a lot we had to return our next visit July & August 2019. Rooms are nice, fairly big compared to lots, clean, updated. Pools nice size, staff very friendly & breakfast is hands down best hotel breakfast we've ever experienced. Will definitely return again!

We stayed here before and after flying out of the Abbotsford airport. The hotel is very close to both the airport and the highway. It is a good, mid-range hotel. Check-in - friendly and efficient. Room - clean, queen-sized bed with decent mattress, slightly above-average linens. AC, TV, microwave, mini-fridge. On one occasion we had a carpeted room, on the second, wood laminate flooring. Also had a kitchenette on the second occasion with 2-burner stove top and plates, cutlery etc for 4. Bathroom - clean, small, combined tub/shower. Breakfast included- buffet style, paper plates, plastic cutlery, usual selection, includes some fruit for topping French toast and (instant) porridge. Restaurant on site - mid-range pricing, family friendly, decent food.

upon arrival ... room was flooded , bathtub had brownish colored water in it .. possible fecal matter , water dripping from ceiling all over toilet , water flooded out to carpet from bathroom they moved us .. room 2 . internet was sporatic at best , lighting fixtures pulling out from walls , floor in bathroom dirty , fridge didnt work , closet door coverings were pulled off the walls and laying on floor. honestly we were so tired from traveling all day we couldnt be bothered to insist on another room although lets be honest we didnt ask for one either , we just wanted to go to bed

We were unable to complete check-in because we don't use credit cards. Our room was prepaid, of course, through Expedia, and the desk clerk required a $50 deposit on a credit card for incidentals. Our offer of a cash deposit was unacceptable to them — not by debit card, not by actual cash, not even for as much as $1,000. Staff was cold and unconcerned that we would have to return to the road. They made us feel as though we were criminals. They denied Expedia's request for a refund. Earlier this month, our travels took us to six different hotels in BC and Alberta — each was happy to accept our debit card deposit; two hotels even welcomed us without a deposit at all. This property was unkind, unwelcoming, and unreasonable.

Only gave average as front desk needs more staff available for check in & out. The one staff member was on the phone taking reservations while customers waited to get checked in or out. Room was great. Loved the Lino floors & no carpet! Needs more sound proofing between floors. Full breakfast available but warm dishes were cold. With you these negatives, I would recommend staying here just on the basis of the room alone.

Clean, great breakfast. Older property but very recently decorated. Quiet location, no complaints. Great place to spend a night after a late flight (or before an early one). My family would stay here again.

Hotel location is perfect for us and we stay here often. Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Every morning something different is available such as French Toast or Waffles, scrambled eggs or cheese omelette, sausage or bacon. The breakfast staff are constantly replenishing as selections are eaten. There is also a great variety of cold cereal, muffins, yogurt etc. The only complaint is there was some sort of stain on the bathroom door that my husband was able to clean off.

The room was nice, very clean, awesome beds. After two nights at the coast in Delta before the beds were so much better. The breakfast was great even though it was unexpected. Highly recommend spending the night here.

So at the time we stayed here, they essentially are operating out of two buildings, one which is under construction. For out stay, out room was booked in the second building (with the restaurant attached) that was under construction. As for this building, our room, hallway, etc all contained various unpleasant smells, which kinds dampered the stay. I'm not sure if this is due to construction, or because we were near the pool. Either way the smells in this building were nauseating. The stay itself was fine. Adequate hotel room for cost and the room itself was clean. All that being said, I would never book again in the "second building" and would think twice to book here at all again.

Stayed here one night for our flight the next day.. Really nice and friendly service. Breakfast was included and they had dairy free options which was very nice. 200 mininmum wording, but i have nothing else to say. Great place. :)

Nothing special to say here aside from I'm still waiting for my security deposit to be returned on my credit card. I guess they make a decent return on holding everyone's funds for over a week! Room was just ok. Cleaning was average to good. Something not mentioned on the web site that perhaps should be is the proximity to highway 16. Heard traffic all night long. Possibly due in part to the single pane windows......which I understand as they definitely don't get Alberta winters. The staff are friendly and there is a restaurant next door in the same building breakfast is available in the morning. As for the breakfast it is again the typical hotel “hot breakfast” buffet which is fine by me. All in all ok. I would stay again if the price was right and I could get a room farther from the highway. AND WHATS WITH all the French tv channels?

Service and amenities at this BW are the best. Great Breakfast included and staff are helpful, friendly and professional . This hotel is located a few minutes away from the Abbotsford airport and even closer to any shopping or entertainment facilities

I stay at Best Westerns often. As our stay at the Best Western Plus Regency Inn & Conference Centre was part of a bittersweet move to Vancouver by my adult daughetr, I looked forward to a soemwhat special experience, swayed by the word "Plus" in the name. We got a room with two Queen beds for my wife, daughter and I. It tinred out to be very cramped espevcially the bath, toilet and vanity combo. The tub and toilet were in truly one of the smallest spaces I've ever seen. This meant that after a shower, doing make-up nand getting dressed had to be in the non-private outer room. Since there are two beds, one would think that having three guesst is not uncommon and therefore privacy is a real issue. And there were otehr flaws and shortcomings. I was driving an SUV with a U-Haul trailer and on arrival asked where I could park. Truly, I've not been at a non-urban motel or hotel where there isn't plenty, often designatedd space. But the receptionist seemd completely unfamiliar with where I could park this not very long combo. Her suggestion was utterly inadequate and so I ended up walkiing around the location and spotting a space large enough. Pretty ridiculous that i had to do that. Then we went into the separate building where both the breakfast centre and our rooms were and, the electronic card control did not work. What's more, we encountered otehr people having the same problem. Thus it was not just a bum card but a more widespread and, I suspect, longstanding issue. Most inconvenient! Finally, I would add that while Best Western's free breakfasts are usually just adequate, this too was below expectations. It may sound trivial, but unlike other BWs I've been at recently, this one served pre-made, lukewarm waffles rather than having the now common customer-operated waffle machines. And it happened to be matcvhing these not very good waffles with tiny close to tasteless slices of very thin ham, no choices, no bacon or sausage which are usually ok. Bottom line is that, what with lots of alternatives and cheaper at that, close by, hell will be freezing over before I'd book a stay again at Best Western Plus Regency Inn & Conference Centre.

Hotel is well maintained, clean with friendly and helpful staff. It has a full breakfast which was fresh. There is a restaurant on premises so it is easy to get a meal anytime of day. Would recommend this hotel to others. .

Just stayed one night here. Staff at this hotel were super friendly and very accommodating. The first room we were briefly in had a strange odor and after telling the front desk they immediately moved us to another room no questions asked. Rooms were clean, newly renovated and kids enjoyed the pool and outdoor patio area. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast in the morning was absolutely fantastic! Would highly recommend this hotel, very family friendly. Nice and close to the airport as well.

This hotel is well situated near the highway but without the noise. Great open layout and plenty of guest parking. Good restaurants on site as well. Their Fitness Centre is as good as any hotel I have stayed in. Our twin room had 2 queens size beds that felt like they were brand new. The room was well decorated, modern and clean. A real credit to their staff. The bathroom was up to a high standard in fittings used and toiletries provided. It's nice to have a good hot shower after a long day on the road. Check out was easy and fast. They were well staffed to cater for any rush of guests. We liked this place and would stay here again.

Our stay at the best western is always enjoyable … It has a Ricky's Restaurant where the food is good .. It is very easy to get too off the freeway...The staff was very helpful friendly and patient … The room was clean quiet and very big … A wonderful place to stay ...

Would definitely recommend this hotel. The newly renovated rooms were lovely. The new floors were fantastic. No more carpeting. Wonderful idea. Extremely clean, beds were comfortable and towels good. Breakfast included was very good. Lots of variety. The location to amenities and the freeway are excellent. The restaurant is a great bonus. Food was great. We will definitely stay again.

Older hotel . Be careful when booking. Half of motel gets noise directly from highway. We switched to a different room. If you stay in the main building you have to cross the parking lot to go for breakfast. Our second room had a Jacuzzi...but no regular tub..and the bed was Really soft (old?) It was Ok but next time I would look for ratings on other hotels first. With CAA discount plus taxed worked out to about $150 for the night.

From the moment we walked into the lobby to check in, until we checked out four days later, everything at this Best Western location was excellent. Staff was efficient, courteous and friendly. Cleanliness in both the common areas and our room was above par It was obvious throughout the hotel and grounds that the owner(s) work hard to keep all the buildings and equipment updated and in good repair. The breakfast (included with the price of the room) offered an array of both hot and cold items and was kept replenished by the staff. I have stayed at numerous Best Western locations throughout the world but this location unquestionably sets the Gold Standard for others to aspire to (including other chains).

I slept very well at this place. Located in a quiet corner, next to a school and few other estate. Easy access to highway, close to airport. I saw many flight crew check out in the morning. The second swimming pool is under repair so we have to go to next building to access pool. the pool is quite small like most of this type of accommodation. better useful for relaxing then exercising. receptionist was super friendly and fast. She offered free upgrade to family suite on arrival which is a happy surprise to me. They seem to do the job to make customer stay comfortable and safe. The lobby door is locked all the time. Use room card to get into the building. The breakfast was quite popular at this place. Many showed up to grab a light and healthy meal before heading out for the day. I saw patches of flight crew members in and out.

Stopped here for one night, room very clean, staff very helpful, quiet, comfortable bed, breakfast really good. Our whole point of staying was so kiddo could go swimming but very small and so chlorinated it hurt to be in the water so that's why rated a 3.

Our room had an awesome kitchenette, which was great for making tea and snacks for my son. The pool was very clean and quite large for a hotel pool. The breakfast was hot and fresh and served from 7-10am, so we had lots of time to grab food before we got back on the road. The hotel is easy to find, right off the freeway and there was lots of parking. Overall this was a great property for us.

The hotel staff are very nice, but the room layout is not well designed. There is no towel rack, the sink is outside the bathroom without any counter for even a shaving kit. My second visit with very poor internet service, dropped numerous time, other time there was nothing available to connect to. Basically had to give up and use an air card.

The hotel was a great location to where we spent a lot of time(Columbia Bible College) The rooms were very clean, comfortable and there was lots of room. The breakfast each morning was very complete and helped us start the day.

Our volleyball team booked this hotel and upon arrival, I was surprised to see two buildings. A parking lot separates them, but they aren't far apart. It was obvious where the lobby was, so check in was a breeze and easy. My room was in the lobby building on the second floor (of three floors), so I was able to use the new staircase to go up and down to the room. My room was also updated with laminate hardwood floor and our hallway had new wallpaper. The volleyball team stayed in the other building which housed the pool and breakfast room. Their rooms started at 400 (main level) and 500 (upstairs), so we never got confused where to go for the rooms. Their rooms had the same headboards and furniture, except they had carpet and their bathrooms were slightly different in layout. We all love how there is a separate sink and toilet/shower combination (both in my room in the lobby building and in their rooms in the breakfast building). It makes it getting ready so much easier! Maid service was fantastic, and it doesn't matter which room you get really. They all have the same amenities and everyone said they slept well too. My only pet peeve is the air conditioner unit they have in the rooms by the window. The desk is also by the window so it's very distracting trying to work on the laptop when you have constant air flow blowing at you. There is no way to redirect the air so I simply turned it off while I'm working. I did not check out the pool, but breakfast was in a nice sunny room. There were a lot of options and I'm glad hot breakfast was available. Parking was plentiful and well-lit so I felt very safe staying there. I thought the highway would be an issue, but it didn't bother me at all. It is very easy to get here from the highway. I would definitely stay here again and I'd recommend this hotel for everyone from business to families to sports teams. The staff has been amazing and so helpful. Very large clean rooms too (always a big bonus).

I have stayed here 5 times now and it keeps getting better and better. They've got the best breakfast in town plus 2 swimming pools. That's hard to beat. To top it all off they have a top notch friendly staff. I'll be back for sure!

The title pretty much says it all . The staff were so helpful with our questions and needs . Rooms are large and very clean with extra pillows and nvery comfortable bed . Enjoyed our stay . A $ 12.00 CAB RIDE to the AIRPORT .

do to uncertain weather conditions, we decided to stay here. It was clean, comfortable.other than the power going out Saturday morning, which interrupted breakfast. We would for sure stay here again.

This hotel is our go to accommodations for our school when we stay in Abbotsford. The breakfast is great and the rooms very spacious for our players. Got to use the fitness room and pool which is a bonus for an active team.

Arrived at about 9.35pm and the check-in was quick. Our room was in another building across the car lot. When we arrived at the room we noticed we were right next to the breakfast buffet area, which was not a good sign as we had been travelling all day and would have liked to sleep in a little. Around 7am the fun started with the breakfast noise. Chairs being scraped along the floor, clattering of dishes and loud talking. Such a ridiculous and ignorant idea to have rooms next to that area. Very disappointed and frustrated. Didn't have the complimentary breakfast as just wanted to leave as soon as possible. The room was basic but clean.

We took our family to stay at this hotel and were treated royaly. The amenities were fantastic.. Pool, and hot tub. We have a B.C. licensed service dog and upon showing the license at the front desk and check in were welcomed warmly. The price was very reasonable. Will definitely go again!

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions while visiting family in Abbotsford and the hotel staff are always very friendly and helpful. Though the hotel furnishings are a little dated, it is always clean. (We were informed however, that the hotel has some rooms that are currently being renovated.) There is a complimentary breakfast buffet every morning, and it is one of the best we've ever come across. Excellent variety of breakfast items. On this particular visit we had booked a king size bed in advance, but the reservationist made an error and we ended up with 2 queen beds instead. It was no big deal, as the location was still in the building we had requested. I really do recommend this hotel as a great value for someone who doesn't want to spend a fortune on lodgings, but yet wants a good clean place to stay with breakfast included.

We were staying for a sporting event. It was close to the venue and a great place to rest up between practices. The breakfast was great for our hungry athletes. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Some of the athletes also enjoyed the hot tub to soak tired muscles.

I have to admit that I have never stayed in a best Western that I did not enjoy but I also have to say this best Western is the best ever we always stay there they always give us an upgrade they're always so willing to help the food is fantastic the pool is great the restaurant on site is great it has everything you need !

Booked online for 2 nights through a third party booking site using a family members credit card. Explained I do not have a credit card while booking and booking site said no problem. Flew in from Toronto and got dropped off by a taxi. Had been on the road for nearly 24 hours and was told I cannot check in without a credit card to cover damages, would not accept a cash deposit and turned me away from a room I had prepaid. Refused to allow me to speak with a manager. Tired and carrying my luggage I headed across to the first hotel I could find, explained my situation and with no credit card and a $100 deposit I'm now writing this review from a bed across the street.

Hotel of choice for trips to Abbotsford. Great and consistent staff and service. Excellent breakfast bar that is kept full throughout the service. Convenient location. Best Western rewards program is also good value.

My family and I had a great stay here. Great breakfast in the morning as well!!!Bring toys if you have kids and want to use the pool. Hotel is near the highway but we did not hear anything from our room. It was very quite.

This is my second time staying at this location however I am a Diamond Select member and frequently stay at BW locations throughout the province. We average 10 stays per month. We are loyal BW members and in general are very happy with our stays. The staff are typical to BW, welcoming, friendly, accommodating and helpful. The entrance is grand and modern with a cozy fireplace and inviting seating tucked behind a staircase with large windows letting in light. The last time I stayed I was in the main building. This time we got booked into a room in the other building across the parking lot adjacent to the Ricky's restaurant. My advice to anyone staying here is that you NOT accept a room in that building particularly on the ground level across the hall from the pool room with windows facing into the parking lot. Between the roaring din of the pool jets echoing into the hall and our room which sounded like a huge vacuum cleaner being left running continually outside our room door, the traffic noise and the loud sounds of people talking in the parking lot mere feet from our windows as well as hearing footsteps & loud water/pipe noise from overhead, our stay has been very uncomfortable. I called the front desk three times. They did what they could regarding the pool, but as other guests were using the pool the noise continued. I was offered a room change but my preschool aged child was already asleep (fell asleep during an interval of relative quiet). So moving would have entailed waking him up, packing up & carrying everything across a dark, cold parking lot to settle in elsewhere. Every hotel has a room or two that should be avoided due to a noisy elevator or ice machine etc. While I recommend this location save yourself some grief by staying in the main building!

Very clean, comfortable, with great amenities and amazing friendly STAFFLocated very close to the highway. Great breakfast choices and very clean and comfortable bed, pillow and over all room amenities.

We arrived here at the end of a camping tour. Looking for a warm clean bed at a reasonable price. This was an excellent choice. Luckily we were able to check in early sort out our stuff, enjoy the courtyard and the pool before lights out. Breakfast for this venue was a little more bountiful then most other roadway hotels. We left rested and satisfied, What else can you ask for.

The staff are fantastic. Rooms are quiet. Parking is a breeze. Close to loads of fantastic restaurants and services. Located super close to the TransCda. Breakfast was delicious. Coffee is, as always, good.

The two of us stayed here in Sept. We booked a larger room because we thought our kids would be with us and it way a good deal two months ahead. So, with no kids... we were really happy with the two queen beds, big screen tvs, big couch, nice bathroom, very clean and quiet room. I'd do that again, book a big room ahead to get a good price. I'd stay there again, no problem. Breakfast was like everywhere else, maybe a bit cheap (quality & quantity) and the usual noticeably grumpy breakfast staff.... But they allowed smoking outside on the patio amongst others still eating - which is a HUGE issue I have anytime. Smokers should not be allowed to smoke anywhere near people still eating. Hotel should know this already.

This was a pleasant surprise to see such a well appointed room. Really comfy king size bed and great linen..and a great little restaurant right next door that serves a hearty breakfast.The hotel has many amenities to offer with a great little foyer offering fresh coffee etc. Very nice reception staff.

Used to like this property until this stay. Bad smell in room and dirty sheets and towel folded up into fold out couch. Unable to check out early without full charge to my credit card. Two cleaning ladies arguing outside my room early one morning. I will NOT be back. Disappointing.

Our last night of our BC holiday, we chose this Best Western due to its proximity to the airport. A very good choice. The room was all that we expected it to be, clean, comfortable and well equipped with a very professional staff. This is a rather large complex housed in two buildings with ample parking and a breakfast buffet, bonus!

My husband and I chose the hotel to host our friends and family coming into town for our wedding. We are both extremely happy with the decision we made and impressed at the service. Gagan and Sarah were such a joy to work with and made everything so simple for us. All of our friends and family had nothing but good things to say about their stay at the hotel. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if visiting Abbotsford.

I like to stay fairly close to the airport for some trips, with this particular locale being handy and functional in all respects. It touts itself as being something it is not, but does offer, clean and fairly quiet rooms with a nice breakfast.

I have stayed at this motel several times. The rooms are extremely well serviced, the staff are most helpful and courteous, and the breakfast buffet presents a very complete selection of possible items. The rooms are very quiet in spite of being close to the highway. I highly recommend this motel. (Far better than the other Best Western in Abbotsford)

Front desk staff went over and above to provide a great experience for us. Suite was very spacious and really nice and comfortable. Included breakfast had a good selection, even non dairy milk :) and the airport is very close by. Highly recommend this hotel as a wonderful choice to stay in Abbotsford.

We stayed here for a couple nights touring around Vancouver before heading to Kelowna. The hotel is fairly close to the airport and was one of rhe best pricrd in the area. The room was a nice size and very well equipped with a mini kitchenette with a Kureg coffee maker. The beds felt very firm, however I did not find them uncomfortable. The breakfast was well stocked and overall not too bad. We liked this hotel so much we booked it again for when we fly out. Definitely would recommend this hotel based on the experience we had.

We ended staying here the night before the air show and did not book ahead. Booked and arrived around midnight. Room rate was a bit high but it was only only room left in the area. Staff was friendly. Room was big, clean and comfy. The breakfast had hot food and the pancakes were quite delicious. I left my pillow there and they actually mailed it to me, unlike other smaller items left in hotels over the years. Really appreciated that they would take the time to do it.

The upgrade to a suite was very nice and the area our room was in was quiet from road noise. The free breakfast was very good. The hotel was very central to various family members and activities we were involved in.

Stayed one night here on way through to kelowna. Hotel close to major roadway and road noise was quite noticeable in room. Room was clean and front desk staff was very helpful. Small pool we used was ok. Nice stop for brief visit and convenient location. Breakfast was good. Large contingent of school age kids made this a bit chaotic. A warning as to when they were coming down would have been nice. Aircrews use this hotel

Sheets were not clean, toilet didn't work, internet issues. Upon notifying staff, little was done to rectify issues. Communication was extremely difficult offering little to no assistance or adequate compensation. Extremely dissatisfied. Will not return to this hotel.

Okay - rating this very good *might* be unfair (i'll get to that in a minute). Very nice hotel - super staff and clean rooms. Very good breakfast. The front staff recommended a great restaurant (see my other review!) Downers: Pool was FROSTY. Breakfast is in another building (not far away - just strange) and the hotel itself seemed old. Not sure why. Not that that's bad - but it just felt that way.... But overall a great place to stay - and it's close to the restaurant we love....

Hotel staff was very kind and professional. Hotel was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast in the morning made it for an easy start to the day. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and have been pleased with our stay everytime.

Great hotel, except rates were quite high given that it was Abbotsford Airshow weekend.Breakfast was great and included hot and cold items like waffles, pancakes, french toast. I've stayed at other Best Westerns where you can make your own waffles, and having that option here would have made the stay even better. Lots of protein options at breakfast too including sausage, bacon etc. Cinnamon buns were a little stale tasting, and could have been fresher.Room was clean, noise levels were low, pool was great. We would stay here again!

We started our 2 weeks journey to the west coast from this hotel. There are two wings (buildings), an older and newer ones, the breakfast served in the older building. The receptionist was very curious regarding the deal we had got from bookings!!. This was the first time I noticed this curiosity from the staff in a hotel!. The room smelt funky! ( like carpet washing) and it did not go away with all measures ( opening windows, runnig air condition or bathroom ventilation). Breakfast was good, however, the boiled eggs were almost frozen!. The rest of the breakfast manu was good and generous. It has free parking and a small indoor pool and hot tub. There is laundary machine in either building which makes it very convenient for guests. Free coffee and tea available at the front desk. There are near by hospital, shopping mals, bars and restaurants. Accessigble to high way with 25 min. drive to vancouver.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus Regency Inn for a 4 day work trip. I was surprised when checking in that the hotel had two buildings, one is where the front desk was as well as hotel rooms, and the other was more hotel rooms with the breakfast area, a pool and hot tub and a restaurant attached to it. The first night we decided to go into the restaurant and had a good dinner, nothing special but nice staff! In the morning we were surprised by the great selection of food, the variety changed day by day. Overall was a great stay and we had no issues with our rooms!

The room wasn't very big, the breakfast was cold, the waffles shouldn't be heated up frozen. Get a couple of waffle irons. Our room wasn't in the main hotel and wasn't communicated to us by the front desk employee. Had to walk across the parking lot. Thank goodness it was summer and not the rainy season!

Nice, quaint hotel just off the main highway from Vancouver. Ricky's restaurant with small pub attached to one part of hotel. Rooms were nice and quiet, 2 pools one in each building, was nice as one was out of commission. Front desk staff were very courteous and helpful, breakfast was super held in the one building with the Ricky's restaurant in it.

we stay in this hotel quite often. very convenient for any shows in the tradex.. we stayed 2 days this time in the older side.. this time they upgraded us to a suite.. older room, needs an upgrade but was clean and quite... we woke up to the smell of pan cakes as we were close to the stairs leading to the breakfast area... nice change... breakfast was ok..eggs and bacon. as we stay here often, we would recommend..

The property is dated but it was clean..... rooms are small and fixtures are from the 1970ies. Carpet is worn and trim is loose on the walls. The bed was comfortable The couch sagged in the middle and the lighting was old and poor. I would not stay at this property again as there is other newer properties around.

Hotel was Ok, pretty clean, badly needing to be updated. Although the Presidential suite says it sleeps 6, unless you want 2 people to sleep on a tiny uncomfortable futon in the living room without proper blackout curtains (only sheers), or put 3 people in each King bed it really doesn't fit 6. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. Great variety, Clean, bright, welcoming room.

Arrived to a nice renovated front desk area, the friendly staff told me I would be in the building across the street not the one the front desk was located in. This other building was very old in comparison and the hallways smelt like old wet floor mats. The room was ok, however, we noticed more and more flies as the night went on. We killed 4 of them and there was still more. The furniture in the room was very old and did not smell fresh neither did the room. The breakfast in the morning was good. Overall I would never stay here again as it is an old hotel (barely renovated) under the name of best western plus and the rooms are not clean and contain pests. There was no pens or paper to write stuff down and I paid nearly $200 for the night. Avoid staying here

My husbands brother and girlfriend came over from Wales for a month. When we drove down to the coast we needed a place that was central to all the places we wanted to take them. The rooms were large with a small love seat which was also a hideabed. There was a bar fridge and microwave as well as a coffee machine. There was a voice of two swimming pools, as well a hot tubs. Huge bonus, not only was there a nice restaurant, there was a huge breakfast buffet, which was great as we were able to go down when we were ready and even grab a plate to take up for the other person if they were late getting started. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. The service was fantastic

Stayed there for 3 days combined on 2 separate trips. One when I arrived in Vancouver and when I was heading back to Van to catch my return flight. I stayed in both of the different buildings. Accommodations were ok. Not as nice as other places but well worth the dollars. Had a great complimentary breakfast. Lots of parking and well lite areas. Has the convience of having a restaurant and pub on site. Food was okay for the price. Service was great for both the hotel and restaurant. There is a convenience store right across the street for cheaper drinks/snacks.

Excellent place to stay. Arrived into Vancouver and needed a place to rest our heads and recover from jet lag before heading into the mountains. About an hour out from Vancouver this seems to be the first reasonable sized town to stop. Very comfy, nice hot tub and pool. Great breakfast. Great diner on site. Perfectly met our needs.

Staff was friendly at the front desk, and we received a quiet room on the 3rd floor of the main building. Room didn't really look like the picture we had booked, but it was clean and comfortable and a good location away from the elevator. Maybe we were put into non renovated room? But it was still good and we didn't mention it to the desk. Elevator was very slow, but it was only 3 floors so we just took the stairs. Breakfast was quite good with lots of selection. We went to the onsite restaurant one day for lunch and it was really great! Homestyle food and large portions- it reminded me of a Cracker Barrel in the States, even with the little table game to play! Great location close to everything, lots of parking, and clean hotel, definitely a great choice if we come back to the area again.

Good time at the hotel. Food is good, continental breakfast very good. Clean hotel, friendly staff and did not hesitate to assist when required. Good location, easy access. Weinrend t return on our next scheduled trip to the Fraser Valley.

Good price and good location. Close to downtown Abbotsford and just off the highway for trips into Vancouver. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise - hot items in addition to cold offerings. Well worth the room price.

This was a lovely hotel to stay at for 3 nights while we were in town for a wedding. The property was easy to find, quiet and in a good location near the Hwy but not so close that it was noisy. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and had plenty of amenities. We had the 1 queen bed room with the kitchenette which was very handy for making sandwiches for a day out or having a snack. The bed was very comfortable and the AC system worked well. You can't beat the breakfast! First off, the staff worked very hard to keep the buffet well stocked and the tables clean. There's a large room to sit in and tables in a courtyard outside. The internet was flawless and there were plenty of channels on the TV. We found the staff very helpful in supplying us with things we needed and providing directions and advice as to where to go and what to see while in town. The restaurant on site, Ricky's, had delicious food and excellent service. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Clean, friendly and highly recommended. The manager and desk staff are extremely efficient and great service. Also, breakfast is above average. The location is close to the highway and downtown. Good dining easily accessible.

we checked in and was offered a suite upgrade for less money because of our BW Rewards card. Great value. Pool and hot tub were great too. The only thing I didn't like was that when we watched TV there was not a channel guide and we had no idea as to what shows were airing other then channel surfing. Other wise very satisfied.

We were lucky enough to have our wedding at this location. The venue was beautiful and perfect for our small ceremony and reception. The staff went above and beyond to make our day as special as it could be!

The bed was very comfortable. Best hotel sleep I have had. Room was very clean and bathroom amenities were laid out all in all we we very happy and would definitely recommend this hotel to our friens.

We spent three nights here. Check-in/check-out was fast and friendly. Hotel is in a great location close to the freeway, restaurants, shopping, etc. The room was comfortable and clean. We've stayed here in the past and will stay here again in the future.

Our experience was so top-notch that I have entered the hotel's phone number into my cell phone address book because it's guaranteed this is the place for us when we're in Abbotsford. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

All the staff were so helpful. Even the maintenance people remembered us. They put us in a room with a kitchenette which suited us. The lobby area was immaculate. The check-in was relaxed and they made time to talk to us.

Stayed here and had 6 rooms. Booked 3 nights at time of but 3 weeks before coming, called with a room change and said we didn't need the Thursday night. Arrived Friday afternoon and was told all 6 rooms had been charged a no show fee (the room rate) and that they didn't get a phone call to change the dates. Well they got the room change just fine but not the date change. Weird!! But regardless they are taking no blame saying I must have messed up. Well I know I didn't mess up and the hotel charges us an extra $1200.00 for the 6 no show rooms with no fault taken on their part. Awful service. Will never stay at a best western again.

We stayed here for a quick night in town and we very pleased with the service, location and cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was very quiet - even though it was fully booked with quite a few sports teams. Didn't hear any noise. The pool was great, only visited the one closest to our room. Breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts I've had, lots of options for specific diets (diary free, gluten free, etc). Very friendly staff who took care of the breakfast room. Would definitely stay again. Check in fast, parking free and easy, wifi free!

The hotel was right off the freeway. It was quiet. The rooms were clean, comfortable. The restaurant on site, Ricky's serves very good country cooking. We ate supper and breakfast there. The staff were friendly, the service quick and the food delicious. All in all a good hotel.

This hotel is located right next to the busy and noisy Trans Canada Highway, but our room facing inside was quiet. And our one bedroom ground-floor suite was spacious, well kitted out, and met our needs for having a dining table and extra seating. We wanted to love this hotel, but there were a few things that put us off. The overall decor was not bright or upscale, in particular the kitchen cabins were tired and old, not as portrayed in the BW website photos. The bathroom in this suite was not functional, in that the vanity was nice, but too small to be functional for travellers - travellers need shelves, not drawers. The closet doors were cheap and tacky and put us off. This ground-floor just seemed a bit dark. The pool looks inviting on the web site, but when we were there, the water looked a bit murky, too much so for us to use and enjoy. The breakfast room staff were absolutely the tops - they were helpful and friendly, and ran a great breakfast room. The have lots of seating and were very busy, but everything was there that you needed. This hotel photographs well, but in reality is not quite as nice as you might expect.

paid more for a business room but there were amenities. not even a pen! no paper, no pens, no calculator.... why did I pay for something that was offered but didn't supply? also ws offered free calls. then am charged $11.00 for a short call. no, sorry, we don't include free calls.....check their site.

This hotel offers a special rate if you are visiting someone in the hospital or senior's home. I really appreciate this and haven't seen it offered at other hotels. Rooms are nice and bed was comfortable. Breakfast is included and is good.

The hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and there were great amenities, including a fantastic hot breakfast included in my stay. The breakfast room was clean and well stocked as well. The staff were helpful and courteous. Definitely would stay again.

TV was not set up Wi-Fi signal is too weak in rm 432 The card key never worked in the back door The carpet has burns in it The furniture looks like it was purchased in a second hand store the bathroom sink does not drain just not pleasant stay. Thanx Bill

We stayed with our wedding party for the weekend of our wedding. The presidential suite was extremely spacious and fit all our needs for the bridal party getting ready and for relaxing after the wedding festivities took place!

This is our only choice when visiting Abbotsford. The staff are wonderful, and compliment the excellent facility. Location is convenient to everything we do; the beds are comfy; the complementary breakfast is great; and the on-site restaurant is awesome. Our home-away-from-home always!

I was greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. The stairway leading to the upper rooms, added beauty to the lobby. There was plenty of parking: open and acessable. Used expedia to find this reasonably priced hotel.

The service was excellent and the room clean, so ultimately a pretty good stay. The room was a bit dated though and could definitely use updating of the furnishings and fixtures. New carpets and updated bathrooms would go a long way.

Up to best Westerns consistent standards. Interestingly..this hotel has become a bit of a Seniors lodge. I talked to quite a few long term residents who actually live here most of the time and travel to other best Westerns for vacations. This made for a busy breakfast room- full of Seniors who did not seem to keen on clearing out for the next set of breakfast goers. A little problematic I think if more Seniors move in, maybe they need to expand the eating area?

Travelling by myself and arrived tired on a cold, rainy evening. The lady at the front counter was friendly and sent me across the parking lot to the other building where my room was. Unloaded my luggage and then discovered there as no elevator so had to carry everything upstairs. My key didn't work so had to carry everything back down the stairs and across the parking lot to have it fixed. Then it was back to the other building and up the stairs again to finally get in. The room was clean and breakfast the next morning was tasty so that helped make up for the night before.

We booked two rooms and everything was arranged the way we requested. They have friendly staff. The breakfast was very good and abundant. Though it was busy considering it was spring break it was quiet. The pool has a good stack of towels. The beds and pillows were comfy. I found the tv remote a bit odd though.

Best Western Plus in Abbotsford easily accessible from the highway. The hotel has a small indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast room is tidy with a nice selection of fruit, waffles, cereal, beverages. Ricky's Restaurant right next door has a great selection on their menu and is attached to the bar/lounge area.

I took my grandkids to Castle Fun Park then over to the Best Western Regency overnight we played in pool for a couple of hours and the beds were so comfy and our room was quiet, we had a quick check in, continental breakfast was included which was ok and our check out was also quick and easy??

Everything was clean and in good working order. Hotel staff made efforts to reduce noise from the breakfast int he morning by closing the hallway door - didn't hear a thing! Breakfast itself was adequate given the price point. In a higher-end hotel I would expect fresher items. Beds were comfortable, great little fridge to store things and internet worked well enough for streaming content on my son's iPad. Plenty of outlets in good locations for charging mobile devices. Nice little pool for the kids to putter around in.

Stayed for 6 days. Awesome breakfasts, the warm items were different everyday, I liked the variety. A wide variety of breakfast stuff. Comfortable beds. Great location. Front of hotel faces the freeway, we stayed on the other side facing a school, which was very quiet. Would stay here again

This was our second stay at the BW Plus Regency Inn in the last few months while on our way to the US through the Sumas border crossing. We found our room to be clean and well appointed, typical of a BW Plus. Staff were pleasant and efficient at check-in. The hotel itself was modern and well kept. There can be some traffic noise from the nearby Trans Canada Highway depending upon what room you're assigned. There's ample and easily accessible guest parking. There's no onsite restaurant per se, but there's a Ricky's Restaurant handy just across the parking lot. Breakfast provided with the room was served in a smallish breakfast/eating area across from the main hotel in the convention centre portion. Good variety of breakfast options were provided. It was well maintained and kept stocked by support staff, only negative would be the congestion during busy times since the eating area is a bit chopped up and relatively small. We'll stay again, good value especially if there are any discounts CAA, etc available!

Excellent service and stay from start to finish. Great price, plus we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a fantastic suite, comfortable, quiet, clean, I wish we'd been there longer than one night! Great breakfast, plenty of choice, lovely staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back.

We had booked a room with this hotel via a third party booking site, and due to misleading information on the third party website we had accidentally booked a non-refundable room, even though we had clicked on the free cancellation link on the third party website. We received a confirmation email from the hotel confirming our reservation which indicated that we "may" be charged for the hotel in the future and that the amount that was shown would be the amount charged. However, after only a few hours we were charged for the hotel room and the amount charged to us was different than what the email stated. The difference was the local sales taxes, but nowhere in the email did it state that we would be charged the amount shown plus taxes. Both my wife and I contacted the hotel and the third party, to no avail. We were told on both ends that it was up to the other party to assist us in rectifying this oversight. During one of my phone calls to the hotel I was actually hung up on by one of their staff members, this is totally unacceptable. I managed to speak to a manager at the hotel and was basically told the same thing, that their policies were being followed and there wasn't anything that could be done for my family. The long and short of this is that we are now being forced to stay at a hotel, instead of wanting to stay there. I will NEVER book a room at this hotel again, nor will I ever use the third party booking site. This has been the worst experience in booking a hotel that I have ever had.

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times the last year. Rooms are average with bathrooms a little on the small size. The beds are comfortable and not too soft. I've found it to be quiet and the breakfast is fairly decent. There is a restaurant on site that I've tried but I've found the service to be very slow every time I've tried it. My largest issue is their hot tubs... both of them. They are lukewarm at best. I'm told they have to have the temp at 102f because of BC law. I stay at hotels across western Canada at least 50 nights a year and there is no way the temp is 102f. I got the impression that staff really didn't care which is fine becasue next trip, I'm trying a hotel in Langley.

My wife and I dropped our kids off at a friend's in Chilliwack and chose this property for a kid free night. Check in was fast and friendly and we had a largish room with a king-size bed and a small love seat. The hotel's not super new or fancy but the the room and common areas were alright, a little bland but alright. I was surprised by how tiny our bathroom was but otherwise the room was fine. Probably the most disappointing part of our stay was the breakfast. It was pretty similar to your standard motel breakfast but just not very good! There were sausages (neither my wife or I tried them), scrambled eggs that were terrible and premade waffles. They had real whipped cream and fruit as toppings but the waffles were awful (I'm not that picky, honest! I don't know how you screw up waffles but they did!). The worst part was the Nescaffe coffee machine, I can forgive a lot if the coffee is decent but it wasn't. Lest I appear totally negative, the breakfast staff were great and working their butts off to ensure everyone had food on a very busy morning. The layout of this property is very odd, it's two separate buildings with a parking lot dividing them. No biggie, just not as fancy as I was expecting from the 3 star designation and the amazing reviews on this site. There's really nothing wrong with be hotel, it just didn't charm our socks off.

We saw a concert in Abbotsford and decided to spend the night. I booked this hotel through Expedia because it was close to the venue and had a good price. The hot tub was definitely a bonus feature! We were super satisfied with our room and the staff was pleasant and helpful.

I got caught in a snow storm, and could not make it down the highway. This hotel had good reviews, well priced and nearby. The check in was great, friendly and fast and I got an upgrade.the room was large, nicely decorated and spotless. There is a restaurant on site, so no need to hop in the car and brave the elements. Breakfast was included, and included hot food. Would recommend this site to anyone.

I've stayed here likely 5 times and things are not improving at all. It hits all the check boxes (pool, attached restaurant, breakfast, etc) but none of it is very good. For example the bathroom has burned out light bulbs, the finish is coming off of the vanity, the TV is hilariously small. It's comfortable and reasonable in price but keep your expectations in check.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE....ROOM FULL OF ANTS...Did nothing about it.....contacted head office best western...they wont even talk to me ....just a generic e- mail....Me ...my freinds and family would never stay at a Best(Not) Western locatation ever again

Arrived later and were fortunate enough to receive an upgrade from the front desk attendant. She was great from the time to arrived through check-in!! For an older hotel it was very well maintained and with all amenities. Our room was on the highway side and was very loud. Not sure of the other rooms but if we were to stay again we would request away from the highway. Otherwise, room was fantastic!

Everything from staff to room was as I expected for this type of hotel in this kind of location. Most agreeable were the front counter staff who were very attentive to detail. All my needs were met in a timely manner. I will return here the next time I am in Abbotsford

I would highly recommend this hotel. Staff were great, rooms were super clean and the amenities were top notch. We can't say enough about the quality of the food and the service in the Sports Bar, outstanding!! Excellent value! We will be back!!

Despite the icy weather, it was a good place to travel to, rest and recuperate as well as visit family from. The room was nicely furnished for a group of us and very comfortable for all of us including the fridge and microwave.

This hotel had a very nice comfortable feel to it on a very busy weekend. We needed to stay at a location that was nearby to the Abbotsford airport and do not regret picking this stay. Very kind personnel as well.

More concerned about paperwork than the customer. Keys constantly needed reprogramming. Bed not comfortable. Good location. Very unusual to have to get a new key for every room for everyday. Staff much more concerned about making Best Western happy than the customer.

We found this location through the Best Western website and decided to try it out as it had availability for New Year's at a surprisingly good price. We were confident of a good experience due to the Best Western brand and were not disappointed. The hotel has two parts and each has its own pool and spa areas. We were in the 'main' area and the breakfast room was a very short walk across the parking lot. There is also a Ricky's Restaurant in the same building if you wanted something different for dining. The breakfast was a full on hot buffet with many, many choices including gluten free for those that are concerned. Our room was on the second floor and it was if we were in the hotel by ourselves. There was no outside noise and we couldn't even hear other guests, even though it was apparently full due to massive power outages in the area. We selected a room with a king sized bed and had lots of space to move around. There is a liquor store across the street and we found the casino a short 5-10 minute drive. We will likely stay here again when we want to 'spoil' ourselves.

Regular visits to Abbotsford find us staying at the Regency as our home away from home. The staff treat us like family. The facilities offer everything we need to be comfortable and feel pampered. Location is perfect for all our activities in the surrounding area. The on site restaurant is fantastic, with very tasty food in great sized portions at a good price. Always recommend the Regency to everyone who is visiting Abbotsford.

Super Staff, Super Service, Super Duper. I stay at this Hotel 50-60 nights a year and have never had a problem. I would recommend it to anyone. It is a Convenient Location on the Freeway and It is accessible to everywhere in the Lower Mainland. I have had special requests and they have always accommodated me. The restaurant at the Hotel has some of the best food in Abbotsford. Always Yummy!

The guest service was great when we arrived but once we were in our room that is where problems started. We first noticed a moldy drinking cup but just thought it was a one time thing. Then from 9pm to 3am off and on, we had to listen to a pick up truck with a plow grind away at the cement in the parking lot for long periods of time resulting in no sleep. There was limited snow ans the driver was literally just grinding in plow on the cement with no snow! So annoying. Then after finally falling asleep and waking up a short time later, I went to the sink to brush my teeth and the entire counter had ants crawling through my personal hygiene products (tooth brush had about 10 ants on it, hair brush, it was gross). We decided to checkout a day early and the hotel offered us another room but it wasn't worth staying.

Excellent facility, very friendly and helpful staff, best restaurant on site, very clean and comfortable. It ideally located just of the Trans Canada Highway and easy access to main shopping areas. My favorite place away from home.

As team manager i have booked both my sons teams at this location several times, The breakfast is great and it had different options each day. They have 2 buildings with a pool in each building. It also has Ricki's Restaurant attached. The group sales manager is always a pleasure to deal with and is super friendly, accommodating and helpful. We will be back

I was very surprised when viewing our room. Spacious, very clean and the most comfortable bed and pillows. Although the hotel carpets etc could have an upgrade I would certainly stay here again, pleasantly surprised at how well kept the hotel is. Super little breakfast area, indoor pool which was spotless, staff friendly and free parking. Close to the highway and restaurant onsite. Although not 5 star it definitely was a great visit

Stayed 1 nite while on business in Abbotsford. Quiet hotel with exceptional staff. They were able to accommodate my request for an early check-in so I could work in advance of my scheduled meeting. Already booked for a trip to the area the following week. Great breakfast with a wonderful hostess! Will stay here every time my business takes me to the upper Fraser Valley. Book with confidence!

One night mini vacation. Beautiful room, clean, with excellent hotel staff. Love the pools and hot tubs. There are two of each. ABC Country Restaurant, beautifully decorated and yummy good. We all had a great time relaxing, eating, and chilling.

1. We drive between 7-9 hours to get here from Spokane, WA each time we visit. Knowing the accommodations will be perfect, the reception will be warm, and the breakfast will be delicious maintained by an efficient and cheerful staff makes the drive so much easier for us! It sounds corny, but it's kind of like going home each time. 2. Your breakfast is wonderful, and we look forward to not having to decide where to go each morning for breakfast. The staff - wow- we are so impressed. We don't know if it's because you're Canadians or because you choose the best employees, but some of the same employees are always there, and they're always kind and helpful. I must say, watching them interact with other guests only confirms our experiences - your breakfast staff is great. 3. Housekeeping - super fast and absolutely clean every time. Can't say anymore. 4. The room - it has everything we need and want. It's consistent and amenities always work. Very much appreciate the free wi-fi. Thank you! 5. I have to say, I LOVE the black and white photos throughout the hotel, especially those with a nautical theme, but those of the trees are beautiful, too. 6. Since I'm listing comments here, the holiday decorations were going up while we were there and they ware beautiful! 7. Also, some remodelling was going on for the front desk and maybe a guest room. A miter saw and other equipment were set up outside, but they were clean, tidy, and avoided making too much noise until guests were away from the area.

Decent hotel, close to highways, good location for shopping and food. Has a Ricky's Restaurant on site, good value for money, good food, quick and friendly service. Hotel breakfast was good. Only complaint is that the room was extremely noisy from the highway.

Bed was rock hard. Half the towels were dirty. The pillows were super soft. They only had 1 shampoo/conditioner for 2 people to use. The staff was pleasant enough but their continental breakfast left something to be desired.

I've stayed at lots of hotels and this one will be well remembered! Nice and clean room, comfy bed, no complaints at all. Service was great. Served a hot complementary breakfast. Great price for a great hotel. Will come back again when in the area!

The comfortable, fully serviced rooms and accommodating staff make The Best Western Plus Regency Inn and Conference Centre the best choice of any Abbotsford hotel. The breakfast is excellent offering a wide range of items that are always kept full.

This is a very good hotel, and we have stayed here many times. Breakfast is included and is always well stocked with lots of options. The rooms are always clean and the beds are very comfortable. We get very good service every time.

Unfortunately I was not impressed with some of the things about this place. First thing was when we checked into our room and found someone's underwear hanging on a lampshade. Right away I'm questioning the cleanliness of the room. We were given a room that was on the highway side of the building that was very noisy. Last thing was the 'free WIFI'. We had trouble even connecting to the WIFI, and when we did connect, it dropped after 15-20 seconds ever time. On the bright side...their complimentary breakfast was very good. The beds are very, very comfortable.

Good hotel, Clean rooms. The team is doing a good job at cooking a great breakfast which is one of the best. Beds are very comfortable and the super clean. You get a very good sleep quality. I would strongly recommend.

Such a nice place to stay as we visited our critically ill loved one. The staff was fantastic, helpful and kind. The breakfast was delightful with GF options for us as we are celiac. One of the best continental breakfasts I have seen, considering we usually can't eat anything! The rooms were clean and had a kitchenette which was helpful when being away unexpectedly. It was close to the hospital and they offered us a hospital discount when we mentioned the nature of our stay! I am extremely impressed with this stay, it made a horrible time more bearable.

Just needed a quick one night stay in Abbotsford. This hotel was perfect for what we needed, comfortable beds, great breakfast in the morning, reduced rate for member. The staff was accomidating and welcoming.

We stayed at the hotel because it was close to the hospital. We really appreciated the medical rate for the room and had no complaints. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a great selection of breakfast items and lots of seating space. The staff was friendly and professional.

The hotel and room were fairly clean, although I must say that the room had sticky carpets though. Staff were pleasant and overall made our stay easy by giving us an accessible room as we were travelling with an infant. Came in at night time to fly out at the airport so didnt really explore around the area, conveniently located close to airport.

When in Abbotsford we would gladly stay here as it is one of the best Best Western's in which we have stayed. We trust that my spouse's jacket, forgotten in our room when we checked out, will be swiftly found and returned to us by Best Western.

This hotel is close to the airport. I stayed 2 nights at his hotel while visiting friends in the area. It had everything I need from a hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The reception area and the room was very clean - even though it seemed to be an older place. It had no musty or any other funny smell. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was included in the price. There was a food choice of hot dishes, yogurts, fruit, cereals and breads. The breakfast area was clean and the kitchen staff was very friendly. I will stay in this hotel again.

Stay is what would be expected with this price point. I usually stay at this hotel when I visit Abbotsford. It has good access to everything and everywhere I need to go when I am there. I would recommend this to others.

Three of us thoroughly enjoyed the two bedroom suite with luxurious king beds. Upstairs room had a bathtub and a futon. The kitchen was well equipped and dining and living area provided lots of space. We all felt the calm and peace being city gals. We drove to Harrison Hot Springs public pool and so appreciated coming back to this "home" away from home. The staff went out of their way at breakfast time, Joan, Rebbeca for bookings and even Mr. Mike! Next time will bring a 4th gal as there were two bathrooms. Really recommend more gal pals to plan and immensely enjoy such trips.

The front desk told me that there would be a lot of highway noise in my room so I was prepared, but that might be a problem for others. The room was adequate and the bed was comfortable. The only ice machine is on the first floor. Also, the breakfast is in a different building altogether and you need a room key to enter. It was pouring rain when I was in Abbotsford, so that was not the most pleasant start to my day. Walking across the parking lot in the rain only to be faced with a locked door. So, back across the parking lot and upstairs to retrieve a key (my companion stayed in the room). The breakfast was decent - scrambled eggs each day of my stay with either bacon or sausage, plus cereal and danish, etc. My biggest complaint was that one evening I returned at about 9:30 p.m. after having left at 7:00 a.m. and the door to my room was ajar. Nothing was missing so I assume that it just didn't swing shut all the way after housekeeping made up the room, but it was a bit scary to come back and find my room unsecured.

Paid over $200 to stay here. Was over priced. Nothing is in the area (not many restaurants or shops) and the room wasn't that clean. There are better options in Abbotsford. If you're not picky, it will likely suit your needs, but I'm picky and at that price, expected way more than what I got. The hotel has great reviews, but I think they are misleading. Again, I was expecting more and left disappointed. On a positive note, the staff was great and very helpful.

Hotel has a good access off the freeway. Front desk staff is very heipful with directions to restaurants & shopping locations.Beds are comfortable , room was clean & comfortable,bathroom was clean.Plan to stay here more often when we travel to the lower mainland.

We did not have reservations are we were just travelling through. We were provided a nice clean room, good breakfast, and the front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again on our travels.

We got in late from a grueling 3 day intensive conference in Vancouver and was offered a complimentary upgrade for 3 of us. Our room was just so spectacular, I was disappointed we were not able to stay longer. We had a scrumptious filling breakfast before heading out traveling again. So much gratitude to all your stay for such a memorable experience at your hotel!!

The pros to this hotel: It is extremely close to the Abbotsford airport. It is clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good, with plenty of selection. It's just off the highway, so easy access. There is a restaurant in the hotel. The cons: We have stayed at this hotel twice. Both times there were several hockey teams staying there. Last time, we were put in the main building and there was no problem at all. This time, however, we were surrounded by many teenage hockey players who were very LOUD. I understand that the hotel does plenty of business with these kinds of things, but I don't think we would book there again unless we called first to find out if hockey teams would be staying there. It's frustrating to have people yelling and swearing in the hallways.

requested a room with easy access- it was very difficult to find the room let alone get to it. Trapped- door was broken and therefor locked, as it was the only door I could leave from I almost missed my flight.... what if there were an emergency like a fire.... very disappointing :(

Have stayed at this BW hotel previously and once again found it a clean, quiet hotel with excellent service. Check in staff efficient and friendly. Good breakfast and the staff there were also so very nice. Pool and spa were welcoming after a long car ride.

From the front desk helper to the breakfast staff our one night stay for a trade show was perfect. Our room was large and bed comfortable. A bit noisy as our window faced the patio where smokers were allowed but once we closed the window it was pretty quiet

Everything was great, but there was a constant stream of noise from the highway. Nothing anyone can do about that. Just hadn't paid attention to it when we booked. Nice pools and hot tubs, there are 2 sets! Pool not big enough to swim for exercise, but was nice to cool off and paddle around and then enjoy the hot tub.

Stayed just the one night. Nice room. Big king bed, nice sheets and pillows. Had fridge, micro, coffee. Restaurant nearby. Liquor store across street. Nice and friendly staff. Free breakfast standard fare eggs, ham, etc. Thought was good. Free parking too

Spent a night at the hotel in the 26th September before flying back to the UK. We had two queen beds, both very comfy, nice bedding and comfy pillows. Really great nights sleep. Bath lovely and deep so perfect for a soak. The facilities were great for the price which included a good selection of foods at breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Please note that it's an hours drive to YVR with no traffic. Allow more time during busy periods and roadworks.

This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel. 1st time was a couple years ago and again last night. It is a great place to stay. The beds are comfy. Nice comfy pillows. Nice room. Great Costumer service. many options for Breakfast.

Clear room, good amenities, great service. Conveniently located close to the TransCanada Highway, but far enough away for traffic noise to be inaudible. Lots of parking and great breakfast including eggs, bacon, and pancakes as well as continental options. The price is extremely good for everything that your get.

Nice room with good facilities, but need to keep public areas cleaner and need to be mindful when having large coach parties for breakfast that food needs to be replenished. Otherwise a good stay. Friendly staff.

This accommodations certainly met all our needs. It was easy to find and near the Tradex show grounds at the Abbotsford airport. This' breakfast included' was better than any I have experienced lately.

This motel was perfect for our five-night out-of-province trip to assist a family member. Although the motel appeared very busy, the room location (216 in the same building as the front desk) was quiet and adequately appointed (fridge/micro/coffee/two luggage racks/incredibly comfortable beds and pillows and quality towels). The only slightly awkward issue was that it backed directly and closely onto the backyard of a private single-family home...so sheers had to be kept drawn. There was never any noise, though. We would use this motel, room and breakfast buffet without hesitation, again.

I had a good stay - they were very helpful finding all the best rates for a three day stay. Rooms were clean - continental breakfast is typical you will get at any Best Western no surprises. I would rebook if in Abbotsford.

While traveling to Vancouver Island decided to stay a night to avoid peak traffic period. Good access to highway 1 for getting off and on again. Room was comfortable for the 2 of us. I love Best Western beds... wish I had one at home! We had a room in the newer main building which has a welcoming lobby. Downside... The free breakfast offer is average and the breakfast room was across the parking lot (in pouring rain)

Clean, comfortable, convenient, safe. That's what I look for in a one night stopover hotel and the Best Western Plus in Abbotsford met my needs. The mattress was good, the linens above average; there were lots of towels, good water pressure and lots of hot water, a large flat screen TV, coffee machine etc. The room size and furnishings were as expected for a hotel in it's class, not sleek and modern but fine. The only deficiencly was that there was no glassware in the room - everything was plastic. The hotel itself was quiet but it is close to the highway so ask for a room away from the highway. We used the AC to provide white noise and that worked well. The staff were efficient at check-in and check-out time. The DIY breakfast (included) was better than average - paper plates & plastic cutlery but lots of everything and a good layout for access; scrambled eggs, bacon, selection of baked goods and bread for toast, hot & cold cereal, some fruit, pancakes, yogurt, coffee etc. I will return to this hotel.

This was a last minute stop to find on the way home. The staff were wonderful, room clean, and breakfast amazing. The hotel is close to the Canadian border and was easy to get on the highway. I highly recommend staying here!

Spent 5 nights attending a conference. Great food, great staff, clean hotel. Not much to scenery around the hotel but everything I needed was at the hotel so no need to go anywhere. I will be coming back.

Hotel was clean and room comfortable but nothing special.staff seemed nice but we would have appreciated a little more flexibility.we arrived just after 2 and we were really tired as we have been traveling along way.we asked for an early check in which they could not do.other than that our stay was uneventful and our room was quiet.

We were on a long motorcycle trip and decided this was a good place to stay. The hotel is close to the freeway and has a excellent restaurant. We have stayed here many times and it still is a great place to stay. The food at the Ricky's restaurant was very good. The quality of the room and amenities was high. The check-in and checkout went very smoothly and quickly. The free morning breakfast includes eggs, bacon, French toast and many other items. In all it was a good experience.

Excellent value, friendly staff, comfy bed as long as you're not beside the highway (busy). I would recommend. I don't appreciate TripAdvisor requesting a min 200 characters - I like a quick review and I have nothing else to say. Good Value for the price.

This is a decent hotel, nothing fancy but it is clean and has all the basic amenities you would need. The rooms have a typical old smoky smell but you can get over it. The heating and A/C works perfect. The location is great, they have a restaurant on location which is ideal. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was pretty decent for a hotel of this type.

Great accommodations. Very clean and very well maintained. Staff are professional, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this Best Western Plus to anyone looking for a pleasurable hotel experience.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Rooms are clean, staff is courteous and professional and the breakfast is top notch for an 'included' breakfast. Also, the attached restaurant has excellent food as well.

Hotel is close to Columbia Bible College and offers a discount to parents visiting a child there. Staff is always professional and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast presentation is great and lots of options.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the entire building had a nice scent which in my opinion is important. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the temperature was exactly what we wanted. The complementary breakfast was very good and the staff excellent. It was also very easy to find with great access to the Trans Canada Highway. I highly recommend this facility and would definitely stay here again if I travel to this area.

Service was friendly. Room was excellent. Bed was very comfortable and allowed us to get a good nights rest. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay, short or long term. I would definitely stay theee again.

Hot summer days and air conditioning unit is old and in poor working condition. Bed is uncomfortable and requested a wake up call but we never received it. When I mentioned these items on the way out front desk just shrugged their shoulders and said oh well .our wakeup call.

I travel for business and this is a great place to stay. It's clean comfortable and provides easy access to the highway. There are great restaurants in the area - Ricky's - across the parking lot can be a challenge - but it's more family oriented.

Very good rate , service and quality, we always stay with BW if they are available. We were staying at this particular BW because of illness in the family and the staff were excellent. BW is our first choice if possible.

The Hotel is great. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Variety at breakfast was very good. good food. Rooms are nice. Clean and tidy. Internet service very good. I worked through the morning in the lobby entrance on a very nice size desk to do my paperwork. Great service. With coffee available always.

The front desk staff were pleasant and caring. The room was spotless and inviting. The breakfast had lots of variety and was tasty. The breakfast staff were cheerful and friendly. Tara went above and beyond!!
