The Best Western Plus Opera Batignolles is a cozy hotel located in the Batignolles district, a former independent rural town and connected to Paris in the late nineteenth century. Today, this area still has its "village" atmosphere and offers everything you can look for: an organic market, gardens (one so Parisian and the second more contemporary), restaurants, shops and this priceless feeling to be a Parisian yourself! From the hotel, you have access in ten minutes to the most important places and attractions of Paris using public transportation: Place de l'Etoile, la Defense, Pigalle, the Opera and the Grands Magasins. This spacious hotel has currently being renovated, and has a capacity of 44 rooms. They are decorated in a contemporary style with bright colors, modern furniture and original materials, and enjoy, for those situated on the upper floors, a nice view on Montmartre and the Batignolles Gardens. Each room is equipped with free wi-fi, flat screen TV, mini-bar and tea making facilities, for maximum comfort. "Smokers"
Go599292, 01 Janvier 2024

Even though it is not smoking , i couldnt sleep because of others on the same floor constantly smoking , the concierge didnt do much as he told them to stop or police would come , nothing happened , had to sleep in a room filled with second hand smoking and party noises all night .

"Very Good."
vikram d, 11 Décembre 2023

Very good in many of the aspects. Location: very close to the metro and bus stop. Price: Very reasonable for a 4-star hotel with all the facilities provided(including breakfast) Breakfast: Provided quite good breakfast, but can be improved including more items. Rooms: rooms are quite good with cleanliness and comfort beds and also have the coffee machine with good coffee options and some water bottles.

"Great and Comfortable stay"
Shakirah M, 10 Octobre 2023

The hotel is strategically located near public transportation stops and stations. There are many eateries, a grocery shop near and around the hotel. The check- in and check - out process was quick and seamless. The room was clean with modern amenities and a really comfortable bed and pillows. There were also some English news channels, and environmental friendly products.

"Friendly staff and nice bedrooms"
iriasaez2023, 04 Octobre 2023

I was in a business trip and the staff made all the efforts to make my stay more comfortable. I receipt some boxes I needed for my business trip 1 day earlier to my arrival and although their policy is that they can't receipt them before the guest arrival they did this for me and I'm so thankful because I needed them for my business. I was staying 6 nights and they gave me an upgrade one night so I can be more comfortable working in a luxury room. The staff is very friendly an always in good mood willing to help in anything. The room was big and comfortable ( I stayed in the 6th floor). They have free teas in the bedroom which I found very convenient. Breakfast was nice although I missed some fresh fruit as I like to have fruit for my breakfast. I like very much the neighborhood is very well connected with the centre and also there are super nice restaurants around. For brunch I loved Cafe Dose. Really nice pizzas, one of the best I have ever tasted in O Core Mio. Fancy restaurant with excellent food- Peche. Best crepes, really good at Chez Maxence and they're super friendly people! I love the atmosphere in rue des dammes. The parch Batignolles is beautiful too. The neighbourhood is hype.Is worth to visit Cite Des Fleurs! :) enjoy!

"Not up to standard"
desireezhuca, 26 Août 2023

For my vacation in Paris, I chose this hotel due to its chain:" Best Western" and I have confidence in it. However, it turned out to be the worst hotel in my European vacation. I stayed 5 nights, the first 3 nights were Ok, everything was average. Starting from the 4th night, the hot water system broke. Then we had to take shower in cold water. Fortunately, it was not winter. But still, I felt cold. Also, the bathroom's ceiling started to leak as prior guests mentioned in the reviews. The toilet seat started to shift aside, I guess the seat's screw is loose. I agree with other reviewers, this is not a four star hotel, only three star. Don't expect four-star standard.

"Good, solid place to stay"
QGoesThere, 08 Avril 2023

The front desk guys were very nice and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the room was comfortable. The Ned was comfortable, too. From the Pont Cardinet station, Rue de Rome is just right of the tracks and hotel is only 2 or 3 doors down. Super convenient!

"4star price…. hostel style quality. Avoid "
Barry K, 23 Février 2023

Check in service rude and unhelpful such a let down other staff here were so nice and helpful but it left a terrible first impression. 2nd impression the room, the person taking the pictures knew how to work the angles it was so small and disappointing to what I was expecting. Our room view was onto road over looking the train tracks. Advertised as a four star hotel this hotel is extremely overpriced no facilities within the hotel. The breakfast area looked terrible and at 18euro per person we choose to walk to a nearby café. Normally I wouldn't comment like this but i booked this hotel solely on the pictures and it's star rating. Thankfully the city of Paris has so much to do and offer we didn't have to spend much time here.

"Very good located, but old"
278Iuliana, 06 Août 2022

We stayed 4 nights. One room as at 5th floor. One of the room was ok, clean. But in the other room it was smelling something for two nights like hell. They offered us a room at 3td floor but the view wasn't the same. The carpet is old. The parching is missing. If you come with the car you can park at 10 min from the hotel at parking de la Place Saint-Georges because is cheaper then the one pointed from the reception.

"Friendly and Convenient"
mdevonald, 06 Août 2022

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel location is convenient for the RER Train (direct to Versailles) and Metro at Port Cardinet. There are good restaurant choices in the near vicinity.

"Nice hotel in good location"
MarcelYvonne, 14 Mai 2022

It is a nice hotel in a good location with quick access to downtown and airport. Room is not big but clean and modern and good equiped. Breakfast buffet is also not large but contains all necessary items. I will definitely come again.

"Beautiful hotel, great service!"
Bill G, 14 Mai 2022

We spent a week at this hotel in May 2022. The hotel was clean and nice, larger than I expected from previous trips to Europe. The location is very nice with shops, restaurants and bakeries within walking distance, and even a delightful little park just down the street.

"Such a good experience!!!!"
giuliett94g, 17 Décembre 2021

My mom and I really loved this hotel. Everything was just perfect, from the easy and fast check-in to the room that was so so so so clean. And I want to underline the "so clean", because a cleaned and sanitized room, especially during this pandemic, was too important for me. The stuff was so kind and helpful. There were anti-noise windows, comfortable bed and such a great breakfast!!!! I already reccomended the hotel to a friend goi g to paris in a month. There's EVERYTHING Around it. Metro, a mall, supermarkets and a so underrated park that I loved!!!!

"A pleasant location for a business stay"
mike s, 21 Février 2020

The hotel looks unobtrusive from the outside, the lobby area is small and unspectacular and the corridors to the rooms are narrow. But the rooms themselves are beautifully renovated and have modern charm. The bed is comfortable. Everything is clean. The control of the air condition was a mystery even for me as a technically experienced person. Unfortunately the TV has almost exclusively French channels, in German there is only arte (if you know how to change the sound channel). The breakfast room is in the basement and also quite small and the selection is appealing. It's a bit tricky to get tehre by public transportation, so take a taxi. The staff is very friendly. All in all, this is a familiar, cosy little hotel, which I would however rather rate as a very good 3-star hotel because of its limited space. As a day guest, I would book there any time again. The price is also right.

"Stay in Paris"
Mobydick583, 31 Janvier 2020

Very comfortable friendly and well situated hotel, Rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. Ideally suited for the business traveller. Staff were very quick on check-in and check-out and organised taxis at short notice whenever required.

"My experience"
Mohammed A, 19 Janvier 2020

The hotel is good and the staff are so friendly and helpful but they have parking issues and the breakfast was too limted that they do not have orders and the eat area is too small and limted dining tables and

"Nice and easy"
niklas_sundler, 16 Janvier 2020

Nice to access. Good new renovated room. Nice lobby and ”livingroom”. Good with the new gym deal. Close till store and food. Very nice bed and many choice of pillow. Soft and nice place to stay. Not to big.

"Excellent service, staff, location and accommodations."
Y149OSantoniom, 17 Juin 2019

Everyone, especially Andrea and her associate were extremely helpful and accommodating. I would stay there again anytime. The hotel is right next to the L train which is only one stop from one of the main stations. I was extremely happy with this hotel and the staff especially.

"Good choice in the area"
liniowa, 06 Juin 2019

This hotel is good value in an outer area of Paris. It was worth taking transportation to get to tourist sites. The room was adequate and the wi fi worked except or the last morning. Having the wifi down was a problem for us since we had planned to use an Uber to get to the airport. Instead, we had to use a taxi which was more expensive. The front desk staff were very helpful in recommending restaurants in the nearby area.

"Good hotel but need to take a few notes"
tanzita2life, 04 Juin 2019

I have travelled extensively across Paris and stayed in many 3-4 star property. So I know room sizes are always cramped in Paris. But to call this a 4 star property I would definitely expect more space. The staff is very good helpful and knowledgeable. Location is good Central to many places by each reach by bus train or walk. But that's not enough to be called a 4 star. A few things that didn't work well 1) the coffee machine didn't work for 2 out of 3 nights we stayed. The staff said it would get repaired but it took 2 days. I would expect a good hotel to replace it immediately if not repaired. Though the staff gave hot water or coffee when asked for 2) the mini bar was not working. No cold water or chilled beer. It wasn't replaced or repaired till last night. 3) the breakfast table is too small for a 4 star. Though the speard is just enough you don't miss much but still you don't feel you are in a 4 star property when you sit there. The stars definitely go to the staff but customer service can be improved

"Was okey but no more"
Relax37150601737, 23 Mai 2019

They was so nice this 100% but the rest i mean for the room what is more important was just 10/4. The Shower head was briken and had to wait long for the hot water. No problem so much just abut annoing. Was cold in the highest room floor6 but i can not open the heat cause did not work at all. This also bad abit. And was so many ant and bited me few.. this was bad memory.

"The nicest hotel"
Tânia M, 26 Mars 2019

We stayed at western batignolles for 3 nights. It was very pleasant. The room was very confortable and very quite. The receptionists are amazing and give great tips about paris. The location is great. Keep up the good work alexandre you are awesome!!

"Mini break in Paris"
MrsStunnerVDK, 27 Février 2019

This Hotel, was really lovely, and we were actually able to book it on the day we arrived. There are many local restaurants and bars with a metro near by and a bus route to the Eiffel Tower takes about 15-20mins which is nice as the route takes you past Champs-Elysées (bus 30/31) The room was a good size even with the baby cot in the room, the bed was huge bigger than a kings size. There was a few coffee stains on the floor by the window but that didn't bother me, the bath also had some dried paint but as soon as my husband mentioned it, by the time we returned the paint was gone, so that was very fast service. The staff members were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. For the price and location would definitely give them a 4* although you could probably find a hotel a bit closer for the same price. Breakfast was ok, with a good variety, although I didn't like the way the scramble eggs where done and although the hot food sat on a hot plate the food was still cold (probably because it was never switched on) Would definitely come back here again.

"Nice Clean Hotel"
adeelfrajput, 01 Février 2019

Stayed for one night, check-in was very quick and simple. Only took a couple of minutes. Hotel is a quite a bit out from the city however close enough to the Opera area. Clean spacious rooms and good staff. Good value for money

"Little hotel in the city center"
Gregora75, 13 Décembre 2018

Location is very good, in a few minutes of walk you can be on the bus station or in the metro station. Taxi station is also in front off hotel. Rooms are small but clean and the wi-fi is correct. But in our room thete is no window except one looking down in some little jard and becouse of that you think that there is no window at all and sunlight. Staff is polite but brekfast could be better.

"Excellent value for a week in Paris"
raluene, 11 Octobre 2018

Stayed at this hotel for 7 days in October. If I stayed in Paris for 1 couple days, I might have picked a more central location, but for a week long trip we found this hotel offered great value for the money. We had more space and comfort and saved a good amount of money compared to more central spots. We were very happy with our stay. The service was excellent. Helpful and very friendly folks at front desk. We arrived early on the first day and they kept our luggage free of charge. When we arrived, the bathroom faucet was leaking water. We reported it and it was fixed quickly by the hotel. It didn't bother us and we didn't have any other issues. The room was clean and a good size for Paris standards. We had a comfy queen size bed. Wifi was free and mostly good. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower. We appreciated the option to soak our feet after long days of walking around Paris. Although I was skeptical at first, the hairdryer provided did an ok job of drying my long hair. The tv has a wireless connection option which was an awesome for us. We had downloaded a couple movies on our tablet and we were able to use the wireless connection to watch the movies on the tv. Location and tips for getting around: - Several small grocery stores available near this hotel. - Took Uber Pool from airport. Was 37euro for the ride from airport to hotel. - For a week trip, we found the packs of 10 tickets offer better value compared to the tourist tickets - 15euro. We ended up using 2 tickets per day each. - To see the Eiffel tower, take the 30 bus on Rome street. Takes about 30min. - To see Versailles, take the train across the street at Pont Cardinet. - To see the Louvre or any spots downtown Paris, take the Malesherbes subway (10 min walk from hotel). - Moulin Rouge and Sacré-Coeur are walking distance. About 1hr walk and a bit uphill, but you're going through Montmarte neighborhood and it's pleasant. - Good food we tried near hotel: Casa Toni (Italian), Olives et Cacahuètes (French), Charles Traiteur (Coffee, sandwiches and baked goods) - We booked a boat trip on the Seine river with Vedettes du Pont Neuf. Great value since the tour includes a free guide unlike most other tours. If you go at night, the boat stops in front of the Eiffel Tower exactly when it sparkles.

"First visit to Paris"
Neet201428, 03 Octobre 2018

The location of my room was excellent. It was right in the middle of many local shops and restaurants. There were so many places in walking distance so there was no excuse if you were looking for some where to go. The train station was right across the street as well as bus stops. But if you were unsure about those ways of transportation at the hotel they would get you a taxi. They had the right personality of staff at the hotel. Geffory was amaxing.

"Comfy beds, helpful staff, quiet"
jeffreyjackthefirst, 12 Septembre 2018

We got this on a Hotwire deal so we weren't too sure what to expect but it was a really good place. Jean-Baptiste and the front desk staff were super helpful, and spoke pretty good English. It's across the street from the train into Paris and around the corner from the bus going downtown. To go into Paris we took the bus but took the train to the Metro for day trips. Walkable to the area around the Moulin Rouge. Bed was really comfy, 3 out of 4 on cleanliness, shower had good pressure, and it had a/c but it was a little weak for 35C August weather.

"Lovely boutique hotel"
daveblue2016, 04 Août 2018

Just returned from a family break in Paris and would recommend this hotel. Located in a safe area with a lovely little park across the road with locals playing boules and a multitude of fabulous pavement cafes in close proximity. Far enough from the City Centre to be authentic but close enough to walk to the Opera or Arch de Triomphe and 3x metro stations are within a 10 min walk. Rooms spotlessly clean with very effective air con. Couldn't fault the reception staff. One of the day time receptionists (didn't pick up his name but he had wavy hair and glasses - Hotel Manager please thank him again on our behalf) spent a lot of time explaining the best ways to see Paris and how to get around including the cheapest travel options etc. He was incredibly polite, patient and helpful. If I return to Paris I will definitely stay here again.

"Ok hotel "
fariraijemedze, 05 Juin 2018

Came here for a city break with a friend for 2 nights Receptionists were very helpful even gave us tips on the cheapest ways to get around Paris and get the most out of our trip. Breakfast was great! Hot and tasty. The hotel room was rather small I wasn't expecting that but I understand that is the case with most hotels in Paris. The cleanliness of the room was average our toilet rim was dirty so that always makes me question the cleanliness of a place. Overall I think this place is a solid 3.

"Best Western Plus Opera Batignolles"
Elaine H, 30 Mai 2018

Smack in the middle of the opera district this is a quaint boutique hotel. The rooms are small but adequate for the price. We were street side with a small balcony. Generally very quiet except on Friday night. Several bars nearby and patrons were a little rowdy but hey...it's Paris! Surrounded by shops and restaurants.

"Excellent customer service Clean Room"
Aaron R, 21 Décembre 2017

Excellent Service. Easy for commute. Safe Area . Great Clean Room a little small... similar to most rooms in Europe.Walking distance to different restaurants and small convenience stores. 10-15 Min walk to Moulin Rouge

"Best cost effective stay in paris ever"
Zizmd, 12 Novembre 2017

What is the best thing that happens to you when u arrive in the early morning and your check in is it 14h00, the clerc takes a look at you and says no worries your room is ready and for no extra charge . Sound proof rooms , excellent beds and pillows , managed to have super early breakfasts since i was leaving at 7 , bus stop and train station a min walk ( if you were feeling lazy ) , closest metro ( brochant ) 15 min walk ..... The staff were super friendly , and i will always remember that last night we arrived late , all restaurants were closed , we were famished and we had sandwiches in the lobby while chit chatting with the night clerk ... It felt like home , and would greatly recommend this hotel

"Thank you for your good hotel"
marjan m, 08 Novembre 2017

My husband and I were in this hotel 3nights in October.I like this hotel a lot. The Boss was so helpful and polite and I thank him. Staffs were kind and helpful too.I like breakfast and this hotel has completed and delicious breakfast. Most of the things that you want, was in it.In our room we had what ever we want. But one thing that I don't like was the size of the room.It was small and most of the things like bedcover,carpet,shelves,... were black and dark.I like to suggest to the boss to change the color of the room to pink and white. The room seems bigger??.The hotel was near to the bus station and 10minutes walk to the metro station.I recommend this hotel to some tourist who want to have a good trip to paris??

"Below average"
sudipt01971, 04 Octobre 2017

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Rooms are very sma?l. The lift and the stairs were too cosy. Air ventilation system in the entire hotel was out of order and no body cared to show any attention on it seemingly. The front desk lady simply told us that we have to continue with what we have. Not at all recommended.

"Courteous Staff, Clean Comfortable Room, Ideally Located"
courtney r, 31 Août 2017

Great Hotel Room that was fairly priced during high tourist season. The staff was very helpful with questions related to the location of neighborhood services and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet even with a major train line directly across the street. We would definitely revisit this "little gem" in Paris' 17th arrondissement.

"Cosy little hotel"
Florence23, 02 Août 2017

This cosy little hotel is perfect for a few day stay in Paris, if you like a quiet break from the action. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We were offered an upgrade and a special price for breakfast. The room was very clean, the mini bar well stocked and the view was amazing. The bed was very comfy (with two pillows yay) and the hotel was a great night's sleep (two sets of windows block out all the noise possible) The breakfast was brilliant and tasty and really set us up for the day which is what you need for a busy day in Paris. Many little shops and local restaurants nearby and the links to transport as fantastic - Pont cardinet across the road, and Brochant (line 13) and Rome (line 2) 10 min walk either way.

"Valentines retreat for poor students! "
Abbie D, 22 Juillet 2017

We visited here over Valentine's Day in February and it was absolutely lush, welcoming and friendly reception staff and walking distance from all your tourist destinations, would stay here again, extremely clean!

"Good hotel, great staff, bad A/C"
cmic17, 16 Juillet 2017

Good hotel, really great staff. Some good restaurants within 20 minutes walk. Only complaint is air conditioning doesn't work. We were moved to a 2nd room after discovering the a/c was "broken," but the experience was the same in the new room. So really it is more like a fan that adds a very slight amount of cooling to the room. It's Paris, so opening the window can mean fitful sleep.

"Reasonably good"
Rohan T, 28 Juin 2017

Stayed here four nights in June. Location is decent, not too far from the main attractions of the city, with a train and metro station close by. The room was clean and comfortable, a bit small but that is to be expected in Paris, I guess. The hotel itself is small and cozy, with a great cooperative staff. Only problem in the room is the lighting is extremely dim, which could be improved. Also their housekeeping is a little inconsistent. Some days they replaced the mugs and gave us a bottle of water, and some days they didnt. The in room safe was not working either. Overall worth staying for the price.

"Small boutique hotel"
leslie525, 06 Juin 2017

I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights with my 15 year old son. We checked in after a very long exhausting day of travel. We were told we were "upgraded" so we could check in early. This room was not an upgrade. It was a room on the first floor facing the main street and it is their standard room that they advertise on their site so I am not sure why we were told this. Immediately upon opening the door to the room I was hit by the smell of cigarette smoke. This is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. I was so tired that all I wanted to do was lay down so I hoped the smell would somehow disappear while I was napping. Well there was no way it was possible to sleep in this room with all the noise from the street and the smell. After an hour or so I went to the front desk in tears. I told the desk clerk about the smell of the room and asked if we could be moved. She said it would not be a problem at all and apologized and said they are a non-smoking hotel but that sometimes people don't follow the "rules." We were moved to another room on the fourth floor on the backside of the hotel. This room did not have any cigarette odor and we heard no noise from the street on this side of the hotel. We were finally able to sleep. We could smell cigarette smoke in the hall of the fourth floor the whole week we were there so they are clearly not enforcing the no smoking policy. There is a mini fridge in the room but I don't think it was plugged in because it was never cold. I could not reach it behind the cabinet so I wasn't sure. They do have ice in the hotel if you ask for it. There are no washcloths in the room. I did bring a shower pouf but did not have anything to wash my face with. The shower is in a full size bathtub so no worries about a small shower. The hotel was decorated very modern and it was always extremely clean. We did use their wifi pack that we were able to take around the city. It was 3 euros per day. They did offer us a deal on the breakfast if we prepaid for the week but I opted out. We received a complimentary bottle of water per day. We saw that they had room service and tried to use it one night but was not "it was not working." I am not sure what that meant but was disappointed. There are bus stops very near the hotel but the metro stops in my opinion are very far. There were a few cafes and other places to eat nearby. Not much in the way of shopping. The cost of a taxi from CDG is 50 euros. The cost for an uber (pool) from CDG was 32.50 euros. I found uber to be very reliable and cost efficient compared to using a taxi. It was sometimes only a euro more to use uber than to pay for two people to take the metro and endure the long walk.

"Excellent service"
User, 28 Mai 2017

Excellent quality service. Quiet and clean hotel. Delicious and fresh breakfast. All employees very polite and professional. I had an excellent time. Well located close to the main interesting spots such as champs Élysées, opéra and Grands Boulevards. Not my first time and definitely not my last!

"Thank the clerks!"
ryokot621, 25 Mai 2017

I spent a week for sightseeing at this hotel, and thank great front desk clerks, it became very special memory :) All of them were very nice to me and helped me to get the information to go city tour always. I recommend you to stay at this hotel:)

"Reliable"
JPerryQuedgeley, 18 Mai 2017

On arrival, I was asked if there is anything I wanted during my stay. I said "a complimentary bottle of water every day". I was not told that this is impossible...but I was also not promised that it could happen. However, it didn't happen. For me, a good sleep, no smoking and water, these are my basic needs. If bottled water was free, it doesn't have to be Evian, Volvic or Perrier, but I would have scored the hotel higher. The brand of complimentary water on arrival is ideal.

"An enjoyable stay"
Nadav K, 11 Mai 2017

The location was a nice surprise. It was more accessible to the center of Paris than expected. I found cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and other services close to the hotel. The close organic quarter of Paris was another pleasant surprise. The bed was very comfortable. The room was a bit small and the soundings were noisy at times. Breakfast could have been better. Nevertheless, managed to work and sleep well.

"Appreciation"
Gerard510, 10 Mai 2017

I recommand your hotel. Very good services and very clean. I appreciate all the staff . Very kind. It is not my first time . Location is convenient. The rooms are really confortable. Sur i will come back for my next trip to Paris

"Nice hotel"
carvalwa, 02 Mai 2017

Nice, clean and comfortable hotel. About 5 blocks away from metro subway stop and can go anywhere from there. Restaurants, bakeries close by. Friendly and hard working staff. Bed was very comfortable.

"Do not book this hotel."
evaferrin, 15 Avril 2017

On arrival to this hotel we were a bit shocked at how close the hotel was to the train lines, but sure you wouldn't forget they were there because you could hear them ALL DAY AND NIGHT which was just the first problem we encountered. Our room was so small we genuinely couldn't squeeze past each other if the bathroom door was open, there was no natural lighting and our view? Was of other people's windows. Being on the fourth floor the window looked out onto a courtyard of about 1m squared and as there was 3 floors above us no natural light got through. 2 lights didn't work in the room which was already dark enough considering!! The tv had some channels one day and then they knocked off the next and the 'high speed internet' was so slow that we used 3G the entire time. The sheets weren't changed, the safe didn't work and the bathroom door was so creaky that instead of opening it in the middle of the night we had to leave it open so we didn't wake each other. The only redeeming quality was the staff, they actually were really nice and helpful, the night staff in particular were good craic, and booked us taxis and transfers to the airport. The breakfast was continental but outrageously dear at €15 a pop, but it was okay. Would I stay at this hotel again? No Would I recommend it? No

"Brilliant hotel "
Sarah O, 15 Février 2017

Would highly recommend this hotel it's staff are very helpful and made us feel very welcome. From the moment we arrived it was memorable experience would go back again. The hotel is in great location with a huge selection of cafes, restaurants and shops access to buses, taxis and trains. Definitely worth a visit

"A nice hotel in a nice neighborhood with good communications everywhere"
Stefan T, 14 Février 2017

The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice. From the bus stop outside the hotel, bus number 31 takes you in 10 minutes to the arch of Charles de Gaulle Etoile, from where there are underground communications everywhere. There are a lot of good family restaurants in walking distance, but remember that most of them are closed on Sunday, so then you have to eat near the arch and take bus 31 home. What I really loved with this hotel was to get a portable and complimentary gadget that gave us free 4G wifi everywhere in Paris, so this time we did not have to find a McDonalds in order to update our emails.

I really can't speak highly enough of the staff in this hotel, they are extremely helpful and frendly.the hotel is in a great location, there is ample transport located on the door step and plenty of restraunts and shops close by.the rooms are a little small but clean and modren.all in all I would recommend this hotel and will absoutly look at booking here when we return to Paris again.

"Can't fault it! "

Perfect trip from start to finish! Reception staff very helpful and friendly - especially Alexander he was amazing he made our stay that bit better! Alex explained the city and wrote down what busses/metro's we would need over our stay. Room good size, comfy bed and very quiet, we looked out over a side street so no traffic noise. Bathroom nice and the towels were always fluffy (which is lovely to come on holiday and have towels as fluffy as your own back home) they are also big not like other hotels where the bath towels are tiny! Room cleaned daily with fresh towels and toiletries replenished. Hotel is in a good location. We got the bus numbers 30 and 53 which took you to main metro stations €2 per ticket. The metro stations are also easy to use and all have landmarks sign posted so you know to get off at a certain stop. A day ticket for the metro is €7.50 fab if you intend to use more than one metro per day. All in all a fab trip to Paris.

"Decent location "
M g, 01 Février 2017

The staff are lovely, the rooms are nice, we stayed the beds are so comfy you wouldnt want to leave, we stayed in 207. There's local buses running, a train station just outside and a metro station about 10mins walk. There are a few restaurants near by too. The metro is so cheap, waaaay cheaper than London. The 31 outside takes you straight to Champs Élisées where the Arc de Triomphe is. And just further up the road where the metro is, is the 54 bus which will take you straight to Moulin Rouge and near to Sacré-Ceur

"Nice Hotel"
Roxanaadriana1, 20 Novembre 2016

The Hotel is not situated in the Center which was perfect for us as we wanted to avoid the trafic. It is though very good connected with the City Center though the Metro and the Bus facilities. The Staff was very friendly and Open. Hotel room was clean and very modern. The only minus was the bathtub which was not so clean, it had dust and other small stuff. We would totally recommend this Hotel as for us it was very convenient also from the price Perspective.

"Cozy Hotel Near Shops and Restaurants"
Taylarr L, 04 Octobre 2016

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days in late September. Check in was swift and easy. The room was clean but very small. I stayed on the top floor and the ceiling was slanted near the window making it a bit awkward to move around comfortably on one side of the room. I don't know the size of their other rooms but the one I stayed in was only large enough for two people. The hotels description of their bar/lounge area is a bit exaggerated. I wouldn't call it a bar at all. Perhaps a counter with pantry space that housed alcohol. I didn't eat the breakfast there but there are plenty of markets and restaurants in the area. I felt very safe in this part of town. I didn't use their taxi service; I opted to Uber around town. Also, the hotel is fairly close to landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe (about 7-8 mins away driving) and the Eiffel Tower (about 11-12 mins away driving). Room service is pretty expensive. I didn't order any food. The mini fridge in the room is well stocked with a variety of beverages. The staff that I did encounter (front desk, checking in and out) were very nice and helpful. Overall it was a comfortable stay and very affordable. I would stay again but I'd just get a larger room.

"I don't recommend this hotel"
robert m, 28 Septembre 2016

It took over 30 minutes for them to find our reservation (which was pre-paid) and check us into a room. When we opened the hotel room with our "key" there was a gentleman already in the room. He had requested a change of room because of "security" concerns, the desk clerk had not entered the change in the computer. 30 more minutes of this upset gentleman yelling at the hotel desk clerk through an interpreter, we were issued his original room with a broken lock. They gave a room with a broken lock to two women over 60 years old. Our choice was that room or the street. We put the coffee pot in front of the door so it would make noise if someone entered our room in the middle of the night. This hotel is not near any Metro or RER rail lines, so transportation was a bit of a challenge. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

"Front Desk cheating guests on transport"
Greg B, 25 Septembre 2016

Requested a taxi though said I was considering calling them myself. Front desk said it was better if they called the taxi and coordinated it. They have a special €55 price to Orly. I asked what taxi company they use and they said it was G7. The taxi dropped us off but couldn't use any of the taxi lanes or park in front of the airport - we had to drive to their parking. He had no change so has to go inside and return. I asked which taxi company he was from and he said he was a private company arranged by the hotel called Andy Travel. My brother-in-law took a cab outside the hotel for €37. A G7 registered taxi, arrived in half the time. BE WARNED ABOUT THIS HOTEL. THE FRONT DESK WILL NOT OFFER YOU COMPETITIVE TRANSPORT. I wonder what they get in return?

"Excellent hotel for a sightseeing holiday"
Tracey P, 11 Septembre 2016

This hotel is in a great position if you want to travel as its close to the train and bus services. There is also a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is lovely and while we were there a small bar was being developed. This facility will enhance the hotel further.

"3 Days in Paris"
marirosa21, 05 Septembre 2016

We stayed at this hotel from 9/2 to 9/5/2016. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The bathroom was super clean but needed more towels and soap. The location was wonderful!!! Our room rate included breakfast and it was hot with lots of choices, coffee, and juices. The neighborhood was wonderful. There are restaurants everywhere and you won't be disappointed. Bus and train lines within walking distance and UBER is also a great option. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely use this hotel again!!!

"Not prepared for breakfast. "
Mr. Eric H, 14 Août 2016

There were not enough plates or food for the about of seats the breakfast room holds (30). Had to wait for the attendant to return with more plates. She returned with more eggs, bread, sausage, juice, but no plates for 15 minutes of waiting. Every seat was occupied but not everyone could eat at once. Do not bring groups here.

"Excellent stuff"
maviortega, 01 Août 2016

"Unexpected renovation"
Leismann, 20 Juillet 2016

We stay for 3 nights, planning relaxing weekend in Paris. Arrived on taxi to hotel, what we see - renovation! All dirty outside and on reception. Family was shocked. No info on a web -page, no info on a reservation confirmation. Unprofessional! Elevator working only from second floor, not a best news when u have 4 luggages. Tiny stairs. Noise of renovation on early morning and breakfast time. Breakfast Personal rude and don't speak on English. We wait 30 min when food will be refreshed. Rooms was good. Bed was perfect. A/C working well and not loud. Very friendly stuff on reception, very helpful.

"EXCELLENT RECEPTION STAFF"

"Ideal "
TheCount69, 03 Juillet 2016

Stayed with a friend for 3 nights, great location and easy to get to. 5 mins walk from Rome metro, just take RER from CDG to Gare de Nord change to metro at La chappelle line 2 (blue) and get off at Rome. Walk alongside railway line. Check in simple, all staff very helpful and pleasant. Room decent size, shower good, wi fi good, hairdryer not too powerful but I have no hair. Girl I went with took a while to dry. TV had 4 English news channels. Undergoing a reception refurbishment but don't be put off. Good little off license next door, don't go to Jean Bart on the corner, they'll tell you to take a seat and take ages to come and get your order, after a while we left. Plenty other places in Rome area to eat or drink in. Try the Wagon near the Rome metro. All in all a great little hotel and very good value. If going to Catacombs book or go very early.

"do not understand where it got 4 stars"
matej f, 19 Juin 2016

Spent there a week. The staff is really nice and tries to be helpful. English is not a problem. Was not asked for smoking or no-smoking room, but no problem, I could enjoy my pipe with midnight emails. Rooms out from the streets very dark and lights very poor. Together with small room and dark carpet i had bit uneasy feeling. Breakfast are bitterly overpriced. Continental breakfast in underground room. It would be on the edge if half price. To pay this money I expect much better choice and cook to ask me how I like the egg. For a short stay and access to Paris centre might be still a good choice but I will move to different one next time.

"Great little hotel"
Islandguy808, 18 Juin 2016

We stayed six nights at this hotel in June 2016. It is a bit out of the way but well worth staying here. The closest metro stop (Rome) was about a 10 minute walk. However, there was an RER train station across the street with regular trains to Gare St. Lazare where you could connect to any transit you wanted. The ride to Gare St. Lazare was only 5 minutes. There are also multiple bus lines steps away. The hotel is small (about 45 rooms) on six floors with a very good elevator. We were on the top floor and it was quiet and comfortable. The bed was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast (extra 17 Euros) one day and it was not very good so we went out to breakfast after that. There are many options in the neighborhood. We also found a great dinner restaurant called Il Paradiso not far away where we ate three times. The hotel was a terrific value and we would definitely stay there again. The lobby was under renovation when we were there and was a bit of a mess but should be very nice when it is complete. The front desk also loaned us a wifi hotspot device that we used all over Paris. It was great to have free wifi wherever we were in Paris.

"Strange Experience"
alankreimer, 08 Mai 2016

The room was pretty nice, confortable bed, nice bath. But there has been some things that made our stay in Best Western Opera Batignolles not great. First, the bath screen was really small, and because of that, when we bathe, the entire floor got wet. The second thing was that after the room service, they didn´t replenish nor bath soap, coffee or sugar bags and we had to buy more in the market.

"Good hotel for good price"
waldo315, 22 Avril 2016

Myself and my husband stayed here in April 2016 for three nights and weren't disappointed. We arrived pretty late, and the guy on the desk Dhjafar was incredibly helpful-he had a foyer full of visitors, all stealing the breakfast fruit that had already been laid out, and were rude, pushing into myself and my husband etc. He sorted it out perfectly. The room was really tasteful and the beds larger than the double listed. The TV was good, the bathroom lovely and the shower was great. (I hate little white hairdryers attached to walls of bathrooms-that would be my only complaint, especially when it kept switching itself off!). Really good for the price. The location is also a great seller-pretty near a metro, far enough out of the city that there aren't many tourists. The area is very much a young families area, with mums and dads out on a sunny day in the beautiful Batignolles Park with their children-very idyllic. I thoroughly recommend Il Paradiso restaurant, the Scoop me a cookie shop, and all the bars around there-it's lovely. I had a thoroughly pleasant stay at this hotel, and I look forward to staying again.

"Average at Best"
Derek P, 24 Mars 2016

We stayed here for the 6 nations, and as the wife booked the room we ended up in Paris for a week. First off Booking.com didn't take our money, so we ended up paying at the hotel which as I used a debit card meant I incurred charges. The hotel is situated outside of the center of Paris, this however is not a problem, plenty of bars restaurants etc in easy walking distant (this is needed as the hotels food is over priced). Also its only a 10 min walk to the metro, defo best way to travel 1.80 euro one way, better to buy a 2 day or week pass. We walked to the tower took about an hour and lost a few pounds :) The hotel advertise tea/coffee facilities, which was ok to start with, but they don't top up the tea up unless you ask at reception, which they will proudly give you one teabag and 1 sugar! One evening I asked for teabags and they didn't have any, the breakfast room was locked and the guy behind reception didn't know where the key was, about an hour later a knock at the door and he proudly produced 4 teabags (for today and tomorrow he said lol) The air-con wouldn't turn off so the humming kept us awake on and off, again told reception, so they just turned it off rather than fix it, so evenings it got rather cold. The shower curtain hardly kept the water in, we had a ground floor, which was quite noisy at times from the road behind and from other guests coming and going. Would I stay here again NO, but then again I probably wont do Paris again and if I do wont be for as long. Staff to be fair our friendly, but the hotel could do with a touch up. Only 3 English channels, very good internet.

"Good Quality No Frills Value for Money Hotel"
BigSteve_8, 21 Mars 2016

Located outside of City Centre with a few nearby bars and restaurants. Hotel is pleasant and well run with very nice rooms. No restaurant and just a small Bar as part of reception. Euro 10 in a taxi into the centre of Paris. Good choice of buffet breakfast

"AAA+"
Wieland K, 18 Mars 2016

Not my first stay here and again everything perfect, but with a big plus! Having to move around a lot around Paris and needing the internet continuously, this can rack up quite a bill. However, the hotel provided me mobile G4 multi-gig internet access. Just a small, cigarette pack sized box ... for free! Now thát is service! Besides the great service, the always very friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is well placed in a friendly neighborhood, just a stones throw from a station, bus stop and the famous French 'rental' city bikes (for the dare devils among us).

"Wonderful Service"
mmamiller4, 24 Février 2016

a perfect hotel for a stay in Paris. The service was excellent. We even received a mobile wifi we could carry with us all over Paris (free of charge). That was a real bonus. The staff helped with best places to go. The bus and the train were within 20 meters of the hotel and cost €2 to Champs De Élysées and less than 15 minutes to arrive there so perfect position. The room was stylist and the bed very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

"Perfect :)"
fwebz, 09 Février 2016

Booked 2 days before travelling on Lastminute so wasn't expecting 'great' things... but this hotel was perfect for me. Less than a 10 minute walk from Rome metro station, and I also found it easy to walk home to on later nights out in the area! The room was clean, more than big enough and had good tea, always a bonus. In my rush checking out I managed to leave a couple of items behind and these were posted back to me. Can't get better service than that :)

"Very good"
Stanley C, 04 Février 2016

Staff waswelcoming and very helpul. Location is ok, 10 minutes walk from the metro Rooms were clean and well decorated They also provided us a portable wifi which helped as we could stay connected to the wifi when we were out

"Only interested in money"
yorkstravelgirl, 07 Janvier 2016

I booked this hotel on hotels.com for a very good price compared to what I've seen elsewhere. I booked a rate that clearly said the only time the hotel would take money from me is when I'm checking into the hotel. However two days later I check my bank account and the hotel have charged one night to my card already. I'm not due at the hotel for another 8 months... No where on the booking did it say my card would be charged at any time nor did it say that a deposit at any time would be taken. The hotel are making it that difficult for me to get the money back to the point I'm going via the bank to dispute the charge. Oh and also the foreign transaction fees that I've incurred due to this hotels greed

"Honeymooned here 20 years ago"
DnAC, 30 Décembre 2015

Honeymooned here 20 years ago... changes since then are all for the good... OUTSTANDING staff... if you can book with breakfast included, do it (well worth it)... good A/C, excellent location (kitty-corner to train terminal)... excellent neighbourhood for casual park walks with numerous local restaurants

"No hot water, no service and no real gesture"
mclusiault, 13 Octobre 2015

I am highly disappointed with this horrible hotel. The hot water was broken, but the front desk didn't say anything. Someone was smoking right beside our door. Breakfast was half empty - better arrive first if you're hungry! It wouldn't come to the manager's mind to offer a discount to compensate the freezing shower we had to take in the morning. We asked for a gesture anyway and got a ridiculous 10%. How much would you be willing to pay for a room with no hot water ? For Opera Batignolles management, they think it's worth 90€.

"I like the service "
User, 26 Septembre 2015

I spent two nights in this hotel, the lobby was small , room was clean and nice,, I like the service they were always smile and trying to help you as much as they can , specially Amal,, she's doing a good service for us with the taxi and guide us with a good ideas to save money in Paris Thank you

"Visit in Paris"
panmacik, 24 Août 2015

Cleaning service was very good, the room was tidied daily. Room was quite spacious , bed was very comfortable. Internet connection was more than sufficient, it can be used in business applications. Location of hotel is quite good - near the train and metro stations, restraunts, pubs and grocery stores can be found in neighbourhood. I can recommend this hotel.

"Very good hotel"
joshMMM, 15 Août 2015

Very good hotel, new interior with air conditioning (very important in August) Good service, willing to assist in any way Good value for your money Great location, not noisy, a bit far from subway Kosher grocery store nearby

"Great hotel"
Maria S, 12 Août 2015

The hotel has aircond, that was essential for us as it was incredibly hot in Paris. The room is very nice, much bigger than usual standard room in Paris. It has a good price as well, comparing to the same price for 1-2-3 star hotels closer to the city centre that don't look even half as good as this one. It's a bit far from the city centre but there are a few metro stations around and we even managed to walk from the centre. The staff is very nice and friendly. So highly recommend this hotel especially if you like comfort. It's also very quiet in the room, we had a very good sleep.

"Average 3 star hotel - good value for the money in paris"
mariaZ91KQ, 10 Août 2015

Average 3 star hotel. Good value for the money in Paris but in a residential neighborhood, close to train and transportation. Area restaurants around the corner were very affordable. Staff was pleasant and spoke english except for the 1 gentleman that I believe was training for the front desk.

"Run away as fast as you can!"
DavidGamboa, 23 Juillet 2015

The positive about this hotel is the service attitude of the staff, and the breakfast buffet. Besides that the hotel price is completely overrated. The area is not the best ones to stay, during the day you can see a people asking for money, and we were offered with marijuana when walking towards the train station. I did not feel very safe compared to other parts in Paris. The hotel seems to be recently renovated, the rooms are a little bit bigger than the ones you find in the more centric areas. Beside the not so nice area, the breaksfast and the bigger room, the hotel infrastructure is awful. The room I was given stank like sewer, I turned on the A/C but the smell never went away, the carpet right outside the bathroom door was completely soaked (hopefully it was just water), and when taking a shower I could not get hot water at all, one of my travel companions got a different room and there was not hot water either in his room. When I reported the bad smell and the soaked carpet to the recepcionist nothing was done, I could not get another room. Additionally compared to other BW hotels in the area (and I visited a lot during this trip), this one did not offered free soft drinks in the room nor coffee machine, and for the rate you can easily find a better hotel in the area or better located one.
