Best Western Los Angeles Worldport Hotel

Andrea & Manny offered up a great customer service experience far above anything I have expected and for that I thank them and hope to visit again. This location is in the middle of it all. Though quite busy, it easy to get on the 110 & 405. For those who like Denny's it is within steps. The hotel breakfast is great as well as the room size.

We would definitely stay here again. It was clean, comfortable, close to everything we needed, and a great price. The staff was very accommodating, and breakfast looked like it provided a number of options.

This hotel is located just 10 min drive away from the LA port, and offers cruise parking service, very convenient location. It's right next two major roads, the sound insulation was not very good, feels like windows always open. You can hear the motorcycle sound on and on.

It's not great - overpowering bleach smell, noisy AC, traffic noise, poor (but bog standard) breakfast, smelly lobby, not nice carpet. It's not terrible. Staff were friendly. Don't walk in the local area and especially not at night.

Very handy for me when cruising from the Long Beach cruise terminal, about 20 minutes away. Since I'm a diamond rewards member, I always try to use Best Western when one is near my destination, as I get gift cards regularly which helps reduce the cost.

This hotel was very close to highway and loud all through the night. The beds aren't the most comfortable. Very springy so you feel every move your partner makes. Ac is loud and doesn't keep room at even temperature and is loud. Hallways were musty. Breakfast ok. Packaged scrambled eggs and barely cooked thin bacon. I'd recommend staying somewhere else.

We spent one pre-cruise night at the Best Western Worldport, Harbor City. It is an ideal place to stay if embarking on a cruise the next day. Our room 412 was clean, spacious, attractively decorated, and well maintained. One luggage rack was provided, not adequate for two travelers. Pluses were very good bedding, and grab bars in the tub. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a pleasant surprise, room was large clean, furniture in good shape. Appeared repainted and bathroom was very clean. Parking was easy could not hear traffic when window closed. Easy to get around area for food and getting on freeway. This was two nights between cruises and very reasonable compared with other options in area. Breakfast was adequate, front desk professional.

We stayed here for 1 night before a cruise. The front desk was helpful in getting us a room far away from the highway and we had no issues with noise. The room was clean and well updated. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but it seemed good. Breakfast was decent. The hotel wasn't in a great area, but we took an Uber to go for dinner. Easy to get to the cruise terminal in the morning, and the hotel was very reasonably priced!

Room and common area was very clean; staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location to the port was amazing; was even offered to have vehicle parked there instead of at the cruise terminal. Would book again

After the Best Western closed in San Pedro this was next closest. We did booking online and our room was perfect. We ate dinner at Denny's right next door. It was ok. The breakfast the next morning was great - waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, rolls plus hot & cold cereal. It was great. Reasonable rate as a member. We will return for sure.

We stayed here the day before our cruise out of San Pedro. Would have liked shuttle service, but we found Primetime Shuttle instead. Everything was great at the hotel. Comfy bed and pillows. Good breakfast in the morning. Across the parking lot from Denny's so we were able to have dinner after we got to hotel. No complaints.

We traveled to Los Angeles for a cruise. The hotel was very close to the World Port Cruise Terminal. There is also a Denny's Restaurant right next door with a good variety of menu items. The hotel is not fancy, but it was clean and the price was great for a LA area hotel.

Overall nice hotel but their front desk staff was lacking. The young women were great...Friendly and helpful. The young men however were so disinterested that we had to ask if they even worked there. They never spoke and spent their time milling around behind the counter rather that interact with any of the guests. The housekeeping staff was great! Very helpful and courteous. Do yourself a favor and request a room away from any exit and/or the front of the hotel. The noise from both is constant and loud.

Room felt comfortable and clean, being right off the freeway the entrance was hard and somewhat dangerous to get into. Even though it was non-smoking, you could smell lingering smells throughout. Was excited to use the pool and didn't get a chance but didn't feel like comfortable right next to the parking lot. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I did have to work for part of my stay and the internet wasn't very reliable

We have stayed here about 6 times before our cruise. Clean rooms friendly and helpful front desk. Free covered and security on site 7 day parking but no shuttle. Will be staying here again in Sept....

Very clean rooms we stayed in, with fridge microwave, coffee. Simple things that are always needed.. Also very peaceful environment. parking is close by no need to park far everything was good and convenient. Recommended 100 percent.

The staff are nice. Hotel is clean. Breakfast was okay. There is always coffee in the lobby. Lots of parking location around and under the building. The location is not the best though. It is not an area you would like to walk at late night.

Hotel rooms are well maintained and room service was good. They gave some grace time for smooth checkout which was really helpful. Overall, I and my family very much thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the hotel.

Our family stayed at the Best Western LA Worlport in Wilmington California. Check in was quick and our room was ready. Property was nice, clean rooms, bath tub was clogged up but managed to pulled out a chunk of hair. Every thing else was good. Best10

Like the location being central to several destinations that we need to go to (Long Beach, San Pedro, Torrance, etc.). We have medical appointments down here. Plus Raffaello's is our favorite Italian restuarant in San Pedro. Many things to see/do in San Pedro and Long Beach. Also, Del Amo Mall isn't very far away.

we loved our room, very spacious a/c worked great and walked next door to denny's restaurant for lunch. they had coffee in the office all day it was awesome. morning breakfast was awesome. I would definitely stay again.

Convenient for cruise ships. Desk clerks were very helpful arranging trans portion to the cruise ship terminals. Breakfast was very good with a good selection. They allow free parking for seven nights while on a cruise.

The beds were very comfortable the bathroom was clean the amenities were good as well. The breakfast was ok for a small hotel. Front desk service is excellent and friendly. There are plenty of fast food restaurants nearby among other shopping stores. Thus is one of my favorite places to stay.

I typically stay here for shipping out in LA. The rooms are clean and you don't have to worry about unwanted people wandering around the hotel. I would rate my stay here a 9 out of 10 the service and staff were friendly and make you feel welcomed , the hotel is uniquely located in a spot that is surrounded by restaurants and everything else from laundry mats to gas stations you don't have to go far for anything.

I had a last minute trip to Southern California and wanted to stay near their home in San Pedro. The stay at Best Western was fantastic. It was located at a location that was close to all my needs which included great food locations and close distance to the ocean. Compared to other hotels, it offered the same amenities at almost half the price. The staff was helpful and super friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was really nice.This recent stay has made me a fan of Best Western and will more than likely stay again.

We appreciated the clean rooms with daily maid service. Even standard rooms had grab bars in the bathtubs, and the room lay-out worked well to have sinks in the bedroom (separate from the toilet and tub). There was a generous continental breakfast, and the breakfast staff was especially helpful and friendly.

Excellent location & highway access, parking included—affordable, nearby good restaurants. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Good internet service. Efficient and polite staff. The small pool is not well maintained.

Nice hotel. We were needing a place to stay that is close to the cruise port and it worked great for our family. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. It was quiet and plenty of parking for the car. Will consider this place if we have a similar need.

I definitely recommend this hotel because of the value and convenience- both for the location and amenities. A sudden house repair left me stranded for two days. I received great service from start to finish, and Alma was super helpful and courteous!

The staff were great. The wifi was terrible. My phone was unable to receive calls, texts, and calls would drop. It is located directly on PCH. The in and out from the hotel is stressful as the side gate to Figueroa street was locked at all times. So in and out needs to be done directly onto PCH. It is also very very loud and the neighborhood did not feel safe. I should have reviewed the area more before making the reservation. I have stayed at many best western hotel and will not stay at this one again.

Good price. Included breakfast was good. Parking included. Th place seemed a bit dated, especially the lobby & hallways. Rooms OK. Area off the property is sort of grimy, gritty. Nothing but fast food near by.

I booked this hotel last minute and I had a wonderful stay. The check in was super quick and simple. The front desk and security were really nice and welcoming. Will definitely book there again! Best10

The hotel is quite old, rooms are decent for one night. They charged 200$ as deposit for extras per room (the room rate was 134$). There is nothing to buy, neither mini bar products, so it's impossible to spend 200$ in extras in this "hotel". They will release the money in 3-14 days. It means they will keep your money for two weeks for not reason. And they don't even give you a bill for this. Let's hope they will give it back. The stairs carpet that from the lobby go to the rooms floor is so dirty, never thought to change it? Sofas in the lobby also very dirty. Better spend your money else where.

Perfect location! We were headed on a cruise and the location was so convenient! The staff was helpful and friendly, parking was easy, rooms were clean and we had plenty of space! Just what we needed!

Decent and cheap hotel to stay at before a cruise or for a weekend. Staff are friendly. Rooms are not the cleanest but it is a lower star hotel. Fee breakfast I'm the morning is okay but there is a dennys next door. Overall not bad for the price i paid.

We took our two teenage grandchilden to LA with us and had a great time at this hotel. The rooms was clean and good size, the breakfast was really good (waffles, eggs, sausage, juices, cereals, yogurt, etc.) The hotel is right next to the Harbor Freeway, which made access to lots of places very convenient. We felt perfectly safe in this hotel.

The front desk was very friendly & professional. He assisted the couple in front of us who came in from our of the country with where to find various locations. The room is spacious & comfortable. There is some underground parking. It's right next to the Denny's & unless you're arriving from the same side of the street at its located, you'll need to make a U-Turn in the complex at the signal light.

Staff made sure we got the adjoining rooms we needed and were very helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is a little bit hard to get to because google tries to have you come in the back way. Call the hotel for direction, don't trust google.

The best hotel ever! We will definitely go back. Very clean big room, the breakfast was very tasty. And what we very like as well is the cruise and go service- very convenient and helpful for cruise passengers.

Rooms are clean and front desk personnel are very friendly ready to help you out. The area has easy access to the freeway and just about 20 min from downtown LA (of course with no LA rush hour traffic).

I really enjoyed my stay there. The jacuzzi was really enjoyable. I liked that there wasn't much noise. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and organized. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was really nice and helpful. best10

Fresh clean room on the second floor. We stayed for two nights and very nice to see room serviced when we came back from celebrating mom. Good breakfast. Easy reservation. $200 deposit maintained quality service. Nice pool.

After several attempts due to heavy traffic, our taxi driver was able to find his way to this hotel, located on a busy thoroughfare in Los Angeles. Check in was quick and friendly and as per my request, we were booked in a second floor room at the back of the property. However, loud noise (from vehicles and individuals) at the rear of the property woke us several times during the night. There is very little sound deadening within the hotel as well. Otherwise, the room was satisfactory. A free breakfast is available, but the dining area is small and there was no evidence of social distancing so we ate breakfast at the Denny's next door. If I'm in Los Angeles again, I'll stay elsewhere.

I really liked my room. I did run into a homeless person hanging around the parked cars and felt a little sketchy about the parking but overall the staff was great, the rings were clean. It's confusing getting into this hotel from freeway.

Rooms were dirty, AC units did not work, loitering in the hall ways, odors in rooms, parking SUCKS. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE A MOTEL 6... I was very surprised to have the front desk tell me that the 2 guys in the hallway right outside of my room sitting on the floor while charging there cell phones were guests with rooms at this location. This was BS. I would be in my room doing this instead of sitting on the disgusting carpet in a hallway next to others rooms waiting for us to leave. I am a pretty intimidating guy and if it was just me this would not have bothered me as much. I did not feel comfortable letting my wife or anyone else in group go up to the rooms alone. Will not stay at again.

The hotel staff was friendly, sincere, and professional. The room looked better then what was shown on their web site. Everything is modern and well above the standards (as opposed to Super 8, Motel 6, Howard Johnson). Too be honest, the room looked as nice as a Marriot or Hilton. The soaps were up-to-date and not those ones that dry your skin out. The rooms were spacious and had a microwave and mini refrigerator...A PLUS! The added (free) breakfast was descent...not as good as a Marriot or Hilton, but better than most standard free breakfasts at cheaper motels. HUGE TIP: Do NOT get a room that faces PCH! I stayed two nights and on the first night, at 7am, you could hear vehicles honking, motorcycle revving their engines, and emergency vehicle sirens. It was so loud, that I had the hotel staff move me to the back side of the hotel, away from the traffic and freeway. I hated the pillows...they were too large and fluffy...absolutely horrible for the next. I just ditched the pillow and laid flat on the bed. Bring your own pillow! Also, there is a security guard on property, for added peace of mind!

My stay at Best Western was exceptional. I enjoyed the comfy beds and great customer service. My interaction with the front desk, security, maintenance and cleaning staff was good. Any questions or concerns and request I had was met with exceptional service. I have stayed at this hotel a total of 3 times since January and have had a good experience everytime.

I would have given five stars, if not for our room location, we faced the freeway so it was so very loud. We turned on the fan at night and that helped us sleep, but definitely request a room away from the highway. It was probably the loudest place I've ever stayed in terms of highway noise. Friendly and fast check-in. The parking seems limited though and spaces are very tight. We parked here for our 2 week cruise-it's free for the first 7 days, and then a $10/day charge after that. Great value! That may be why space is limited. Also, there is only one elevator. There's a long wait to use it. The room was spacious, up to date, and very clean. Cleanliness is very important to us, it's very hard to find a clean hotel room nowadays but this room was very clean. Breakfast was ok-eggs, sausage, etc. Typical hotel breakfast, but a cut above the rest currently. Overall, a great Best Western and a great value for the area, especially for cruisers. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel was clean service was quick and respectful and pleasant. Overall it was a good hotel the only negative is the bed Was not comfortable this was the last place we stayed on a nine day adventure and had the worst bad out of all four hotels that we stayed in. ‘Best10'

Worst hotel i have ever stayed . Very Noisy, dirty rooms. Scary elevator. Poor breakfast. I was trying to fix the flush on the last day. Very old building. The room seemed dirty. Very old building, not a lot of staff around.

We had a flight out of LAX early the next morning and decided on this Best Western. The hotel had a great price and only 15 minute drive to the airport. Check in was smooth and rooms were spacious enough for us. The one thing, if you are driving on the Freeway south and get off at the Pacific Coast Highway exit. You will make a right turn and immediately on the left side is the hotel, but depending on what time you arrive, due to traffic its impossible to turn left into the hotel. We had to drive a few blocks and make a U-turn then it was easy to get into the hotel. Also, located right next to a busy freeway, although we did not hear the car noise. Will stay again if flying out of LAX!!

The staff was very courteous. The hotel is an older one with some upgrades. The electricity did go out but was back on shortly. The continental breakfast was ok but it hit the spot. My stay was just alright.

I've stayed here twice already. The rooms are super clean and the beds are very comfortable... this is my spot from here on out. I haven't had the pleasure of enjoying the pool but I definitely plan to.

Good location if taking a cruise. Lots of parking and the friendly staff. Room are large with free breakfast. Google maps does not show that you can go under the viaduct on a sidewalk foot path to get to shops in food within minutes. Just a little FYI. Best10

Great service good parking and open pool/jacuzzi breakfast was great. Room was clean and organized as a platinum member i got two water bottles. Clean towels. Woke up had some coffe and fresh waffles.

Lots of paint have fallen off the walls in the room and they were not patched up. The hotel is loud: there were people talking very loudly in the parking lot. It was not a comfortable stay at all unfortunately. Not Best10

A good place if you just want a place to sleep. Nothing more. It wasn't very clean (dirt in corners of rooms/bathrooms). Towels felt like sand paper and bed pillows were the size of 8x8 and hard :( The amount of noise that came through the locked windows was incredibly loud. Cigarette smoke fully came into my non-smoking room through the vents which woke me every night (gross). Housekeeping took towels and didn't leave any so when I got out of the shower all I had was a washcloth. The elevators were filthy, floors sticky. Security guard in the front lobby at night made me assume I was in a bad part of town and yes, the bars on the local businesses was another sign. I do not plan to stay here again.

I've been staying at Bestwestern for many years now they are the only hotels I stay at I would like to recommend for everyone to stay at Bestwestern they have a great breakfast and very clean rooms also staff are all very friendly

This location is right off the freeway and has adequate parking. The rooms were clean with nice amenities. Excellent service from the staff. The breakfast was great, even considering the challenges with COVID. We had a great stay with our family at this location.

Very nice hotel and the staff was very pleasant. I will recommend this hotel. My husband and I spent 2 nights here.when I got there Ivn I believe was his name told me I was the customer for the day, I thought it was funny. I never been pick as a guest for the day, he was very nice and help me get my transfer's and ask if I needed anything else.

It was quite nice, I stayed there before I think it has had a few different names over the years but this stay was quite pleasant I love how your treated so friendly by the employees and they are so helpful. Just wished they were more "helpfully" ladies that can service all my needs I have.

Best10 We had a wonderful stay at ‘Best Western' during the Omicron crisis. Front Desk made sure that mask is mandatory. There were hand sanitizer stations in every floor and gloves were provided while using breakfast service. Check in and Check out were smooth. As a Platinum member I received water bottles which were already kept in the room. The room was thoroughly clean and all necessities were provided. We appreciate the spacious and covered parking place. Having a security guard at night and secure late night entry made this stay anxiety free. One of best ‘Best Western' in my opinion.

The hotel is nicely matained with some wear. Checking is smooth. Staff are very responsive making guest feel important and served. The room of our stay was clean and comfortable. Room size was great. Though the tv gun was cumbersome to use. The cleaning staff were very nice. That said. Our room fronted the busy main streat PCH. Sounds of traffic was much like a drag strip. Engine revs, engine take offs, stealing brakes and tires. That combined with frequent firetruck siren sounds.

The room was neat and clean and quiet and the breakfast was great. I also like that they have a couple washers and dryers so i can wash my own clothes. There is a Dennys resturant next to the best western and they have vending machines inside the hotel.

I stayed at this location for work. Facility is clean and the staff is very friendly. Parking is always available and easy to find for free. Only negative point is the traffic noice as the hotel is next to two busy roads. Best10.

This hotel is located right next to the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), so the traffic noise can be an issue for those who are light sleepers. We experienced this but thankfully we had brought a "white noise machine" with us and used foam ear plugs which helped us get a decent nights sleep. Also because the hotel is accessed only from the PCH, trying to exit the hotel can be a challenge when traffic is heavy, especially if you have to make a left turn from the parking lot onto the PCH. Due to the new and stupid COVID restrictions placed on all business in CA by their foolish governor Newsome, you can't enjoy breakfast inside the dining room. For breakfast you have to pick up what food and drink items you can carry then take it to your rooms to consume. This is not only an inconvenience but requires multiple trips if you have young children. Asking young children to carry a plate of food and a drink, even with a lid, is a recipe for disaster just waiting to happen. However, this is not the fault of the hotel staff but rather the fear mongering politicians in California. The breakfast foods available consists of both hot and cold varieties and they offered a good selection. The hotel staff was friendly and cheerful during check-in, our stay and check-out. Overall we were satisfied with our stay and will more than likely stay there again in the future.

Due to covid I think they did a good job. The rooms were clean. They had a decent breakfast. The only problem is there was no where to sit. Everyone took their breakfast to their rooms. No trays available to carry food. There was hot and cold food. They also had an underground parking garage. Denny's right next door. We Ubered to the port for $10. Would stay again.

Manuel greeted me with genuine warmth and quickly checked me in to a well appointed, clean and comfortable room with mini fridge and microwave, good bed and bedding. Easy access to the 110 Fwy, close to Ports of Call. Best10

Front desk staff was very nice. Room was nicer than anticipated for price. Especially in light of our being able to leave our car parked there free of charge while on a short cruise! The room was also clean and relatively modern. The public areas (lobby and hallways were not as well-kept). I was surprised :-) at how good the in-room coffee is. I'm going to look for the brand they use. While the breakfast was good in light of Covid restrictions there were missing or out of stock items that would have seemed to be a standard. IE, no butter for the waffles (which were very good!). I recommend it for a very reasonably priced pre or post cruise stay.

My room was upgraded before I got there which worked out perfect for me and my two adult children. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Hot and cold breakfast was good but could use some variety. Right off the interstate.

Any time we go to any event or travel, we always choose best western because it's at a fair price; they also offer discounts. The hotel rooms are always clean and have a microwave, mini refrigerator, and ac. The staff is always helpful and kind. Best10

Hotel is near the Airport and beaches. Price is good, everthing was fine. People at the front desk are friendly and helpful. A little noisy from the highway, but not tooo bad. I would stay there again.

Recommended for short stay. Near Long Beach. We had a great stay for the price paid. Great value and very good breakfast and amazing waffles. Everyone got the chance to prepare their own waffles. Funny nice experience. Best10

This hotel should be considered for a solo trip and single night. Staff is friendly but hotel need to fix some issues with infraestructure. Lobby floor is damaged, bathrooms are leaking and tub with stain, some corners with fungus, and faucets in bathroom looked old and not 100% functional, also curtains are really old starting to to tear out. Location for travelers going to San Pedro or Long Beach is great location but anywhere else you will face traffic anytime. Breakfast is for grab and go only, if you are traveling solo this is no problem but with kids this becomes an issue. I would not recommed this property is traveling with kids. Ask front desk to give a room in the opposite side of the freeway. Noise is very anoying at that side of the property. Best10

My visit was a great one. Staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. The room was well maintained the bed was real comfortable and it had plenty of pillows. The refrigerator worked better than most (it got extremely cold) and there was a working microwave and coffee pot. The bathroom was super clean which is a BIG PLUS in my book because I've been to hotel where I've have to clean the whole bathroom because you can see the filth. Will definitely return

Was greeted upon every entry and departure. Great location, right off the freeway. Denney's next door but not needed. Staff had complimentary breakfast. Rooms were nice and clean. Easy Check in and out. Would recommend and will come back to this location.

The parking lot was dirty, the lobby had cracked tiles all over the place, there was a very distinct Caution Tape being held by a chair and a table right across from the check-in lobby. The person checking us into the hotel was extremely unknowledgeable of simple hotel questions such as when should we expect to get our $200.00 back? The bathroom shower curtain was OLD and NASTY! To the point that I didn't want to shower. The noise coming into the room from the street outside the hotel was intolerable, and the noise did not stop ALL day and ALL night. I did not feel rested in any way shape or form from my trip and I felt that I was taken advantage for what I pay for this hotel. Never another Best Western!

My husband and I spent one night prior to the start of our cruise. We took advantage of the cruise special parking, and our vehicle was secured in underground parking for 7 days. Michael at the front desk was a huge help in getting us situated the morning of our departure, and cannot speak highly enough of him. A great place to stay that was clean, with large rooms and only a $15 Uber away from the cruise terminal.

My family and I enjoyed staying at this location. The front desk gentlemen are pleasant and helpful. The strawberry pancakes are really delicious! The rooms are clean and neat and The beds are very comfortable. You won't go wrong choosing to stay here....Dennys is literally walking distance and it's open 24/7. Your family would enjoy your stay at this best Western location. Best10

Basic hotel, no frills. Needs updating and deep cleaning. Noisy, hear neighbors and vehicles on the interstate. Lots of marijuana smells through entrance and hallways which leaked into room. Price should have been cheaper for the quality.

My two night stay at best western was absolutely wonderful. The room was spacious and extremely clean. The area was great during the week down the street walking distance there are street vendors we got to try some delicious tacos for dinner. There were also street vendors selling churros which were also very delicious and filing. Overall at my stay I enjoyed it and will definitely be booking here again if I stay in the area.

Rooms are fairly nice with newer modern furniture. The bathroom in my room could definitely have used an update. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Hotel is on Pacific Coast Hwy, so it's very loud, especially at night when you're trying to go to sleep. Loud car horns, mufflers, police and emergency sirens (hospital located a block away). The walls in the hotel are very thin. When walking to your room you can hear people yelling at each other, kids screaming and the smell of marijuana in the hallways. For some reason they mount the t.v.s on the wall, so if your neighbor is watching something, you'll definitely hear it. This being said, you're in L.A. I'm sure most hotels in this area have these problems, and much worse. I was only in L.A for business and can't see why anyone would want to come to this dirty, crowded, homeless infested place for fun.

Thank you for the beautiful accommodations. We enjoyed the breakfast, the comforters and sheets were very clean and the air conditioner was cool on the hot day. We slept well, and were offered a late check out.

The check in representative was extremely helpful, authentic and professional! Management did an amazing job in hiring her! I have always stayed at this Best Western for my business trips. Formost part it has always been a great stay except for my most recent stay 2 tonights in room 320... in tbe past this room was exceptionally nice for sleeping with no outside noise of any kind.. the past several nights the party living above in 420 these people never sleep they walk heavy with shoes and constantly walking all night long that all you hear is thumping sounds. The furnance or AC needs service and does a loud consistent knocking noise at various times.. the sink in the bath room fills up with water on its own basically is backing up and slowly drains. This sink needs to be plunged or something. This room and stay not so good this time around . To whom it may concern, I would not describe it as best to end because when I arrived to check in the front desk person was very very cold was not personable did not explain anything to me and just asked me for my information and that was it, it wasn't even worth me asking any questions because I already knew he wasn't in the mood to deal with people that day. I was informed that there was food in the morning but I did not feel comfortable feeding my family in a dirty hotel. I wouldn't stay at that location again.

We have an issue cuze our room has a strong cigarette smell And front desk staff just said quote “thanks for let us know But not offer us another room or even send someone to spray some febrezze or something

Everything was good untill we start having bug bites in our bed sheets that kept us awake most of the night. We ask to be move to another room but they never offer to discount our hardship for the two nights.

I flew in for a family event in the area. The price here is great compared to 10 minutes away. The hotel is clean. They updated a lot of rooms, which is nice. There is limited parking. During the week, it isn't bad. But if it's the weekend, expect to park on the street next to the hotel if you don't come back to the hotel past 8-9pm. The parking spots are only the size for small, economy cars. Overall, it's still worth the stay. Staff is exceptional, friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the value and clean. Just have to remember that it's on a highway, so it's a little noisy until after midnight and the parking issue.

Strong smell of cannabis. For the first two night it looked like people selling cannabis on hotel parking lot on property , did not felt safe at night going in and out of the hotel, and was a lot a trash on parking lot from the night before

Really nice hotel with really friendly staff. Had an amazing stay the pool was open 10am-10pm. Breakfast was served from 6am-10am with lots of different choices to pick from. Washer and Dry available as well. Best10

I stayed at this property during the week. This is a non smoking property but the rooms smelled like smoke. The hallway smelled like smoke and pets. The clerk was very nice. This isn't the best neighborhood so please keep that in mind.

Ugly-Bad noisy industrial neighberhood with alot of homeless people. Police came to Hotel on 1st night. Bad- Nightshift employee. Manuel is rude and no one is allowed to use Hotel Lobby Restrooms because of the homeless people in the area. All hallways and stairs smell bad of a moldy fishy smell. Good- Hotel Room was clean with clean sheets and towels. Would not recommend this Hotel.

I was staying there for almost 2 months & the staff was super friendly & they kept my room clean was very tentative to my needs while staying on the property. I loved the indoor pool & they also have a bar & grill attached to the hotel that opened & was also great!

We were fortunate to find this little gem so close to the family event that brought us to this area. We were greeted by a friendly security guard upon entering. While I was waiting to get checked in, he was kind enough to help two women who were struggling to get the luggage cart into the elevator. Upon arriving at our designated room, our room cards did not work. I went back downstairs for assistance at the front desk. He explained that the room cards could be deactivated if placed next to a cell phone or credit cards. I never knew this could happen. Lesson learned. The hotel seems to be a bit old and dated, but our room was clean and the beds were very comfy. We had a very peaceful nights sleep. Masks were required at this hotel but were optional at the previous nights hotel in Oceanside. This hotel is very close to a freeway. My husband said he heard traffic noise, but I didn't hear a thing. You can't beat this hotel for the price. We will stay here again if and when we come back to this area for another family event. The hotel itself was a fairly standard Best Western unfortunately they haven't upgraded their windows and have these old single pane windows that let in all the freeway noise and all the noise from the neighborhood. The staff was great and upheld all the covid restrictions without being pushy. Best10

It started out horrible. The staff was treating us like we were a burden to be checking in. The elevator had broken ceiling and was held up by a wire. Then we got into our hotel room.the bath tub was moldy, shower head was not attached to the wall, and there was a crack in the tub. The smell was foul too in the halls and room. At night it was a hooker convention. You see the number of johns that go into 1 room throughout the night. The localseven told us its the worst hotel to stay in. We would be better staying on the piers a few miles down the road. The boise on the street is horrible. No sound proof windows. We barely got any sleep the 4 days we were there.

For a hotel being by a freeway and major street that they would have better windows to block out sound. Cars speeding by the street and freeway, could not sleep. The location was good! Just too much noise.

Location is next to a freeway, gas station and 24 hours Denny's. Rooms were specious and clean. The hotel has onsite parking. Pool and jacuzzi were closed but should be open once the COVId restrictions are lifted.

This hotel goes up an and beyond to insure you stay is what you expect it to be. The rooms are clean, quiet and any requests are met. Good location with Denny's next door and a Shell station mini store directly across the street. Staff are nice Always my first choice when needed a place to stay. It is safe and due to my disabilities the rooms are handicapped equipped. The same room is always requested, and usually available.

Better management needed. I been staying at this location for about 3 months now and all I can really say is that, management is well below unsatisfactory, if it wasn't for SOME of the employees here and their decent personalities, this place would be the worst. I earned a couple free nights for staying from so and so date and and I went about 2 months before anyone actually mentioned that I should have had free nights by then.. ⁷not once did the manager or the female employees here bother to even mention it. Let me remind you that I pay about 120 a night here so in 2 months thats well over $6000 you would think someone would have said something.. I had earned 4 $25 gift cards for staying there on certain dates and once again....not a peep from anyone here pretty inconsiderate. The manager as well, doesn't even acknowledge his Diamond Elite customers, treats you just like any other person that just comes and goes.

We had adjoining rooms staff was great they let us check in hour early and was very quick and easy. They practice social distance and wearing masks. Great location for where we needed to be and it's literally right off the freeway, only problem was you have to u-turn to get to hotel.

This property is very nice. They have good parking inside a fenced off area. The lobby is a little bare due to Covid precautions; they take the need for caution very seriously. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean, the bed super comfortable, and the room décor had been freshly updated. As a bonus, there was secure covered parking and a security guard onsite. Even though Covid has halted the traditional hotel buffet breakfast, they offered a selection of tasty "to-go" options so we did not go away hungry. They mentioned as the county eases restrictions they may be going back to a greater breakfast program soon. Everything was great!

Recently I got a room at the BW for 3 days and I was very pleased with the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. I would recommended I to anybody who is cog to visit in the his area. It is also close to and around stores so that u don't have to be without.

The staff at the LA Worldport BW were so friendly and accommodating during our stay. The room was spacious and clean. Parking was plentiful and included. The best part of the stay was the taco stand on Figueroa St, walking distance. Would recommend.

We had a great experience at the BW hotel. Rooms very were very clean. Staff were very courteous. If you ever in town we would definitely stay here again. It's a convenient location it's centralized near Kaiser, Denny's, gas station, fwy entrance and other small shops.

My family and I have always stayed at this best western because of how well they treat us. We last stayed here in November 2020 and... IT WAS TERRIBLE. The front desk person there at the time ruined our whole stay. His name was Manuel and he has no characteristic traits of being a front desk person whatsoever. I would know because I myself work as a front desk in the city where I live. He shows little interest, attitude is awful, and most importantly he DID NOT even have his mask on right or enforcing the policy upon other guests. I am truly disappointed because usually we are always treated nicely by the ladies at the desk but not this time and not by this gentleman. Our stay was horrible because of how unpleasant this gentleman is. Please do better Best Western...

The room was dirty. I called the front desk multiple times, no answer. Guests were obviously heavy drug users and were loud, screaming and yelling up and down the halls at 3am. $200 room deposit!!!!!!

Excellent staff love the wild West style in Los Angeles,the California Coast line has many beautiful sights the sunsets are magically breath taking.the sun rise view from East facing side of the building is also spectacular I must say.

Spent 3 nights end June and personnel did not take the Covid precautions serious.... all signs are pointless if guest are checking in without masks the receiption staff gives you a rude reply when brining the issue up. Once I was waiting for the very slow lift and 2 person were in a finally a guy behind me forced himself in without face masks. rooms are average, mattress too soft and gone oin the mid-section

The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Site had good parking. The wireless for internet worked well. The hotel has a pool and it looks nice but I didn't have time to swim. An area exits for continental breakfast but during COVID this wasn't offered. A restaurant is located next door so that's convenient.

I like this location, it's close to my friends and easy to get to. I liked the room but the floor I was on had a lot of slamming doors as if the doors didn't have door stoppers or people didn't care. I want to believe no door stoppers because as I exited the room I accidentally slammed the door when opening to leave. Otherwise it was a great stay overall.

labor day get away. Great location close to fwy. Good for under $100. Great bed. Great A/C. Rokm 304 . Only issue only 1 elevator. Bad plumbing, water got stuck in tub and sink, bathroom down handle loose. (Got stuck inside bathroom) Also way to many crack deals and prostitution in the 3rd floor, to easy enter the building with out having staff stop tge riffRaff.. not safe for the average person hood thing we look 'dangerous' too.

I needed to stay here for my interview on Monday and Tuesday, and I did. It was unusual to see the price that high because there's no breakfast or grab and go. But I heard if there's lots of business the price won't remain the same. I did get some rest like deep sleep, my room was very pleasant and the building was very quite and clean which is very normal. There's no reason to withhold that it's not the greatest neighborhood but it always depend on your seriousness and assertive effort to stay safe and take care of your either family, friends or self. If done you can more than ever enjoy your stay. I place that extra effort always because I have a budget that I sometimes can't place pressure on, every dime counts every minute is precious to me. I assure you without the food that was always delicious you must also watch your back. It's kind of rough in the Wilmington area. For the holiday weekend and the very first time I rode the metro bus from long beach to the hotel Best Western and l notice the difference between leaving from the Union station and riding the metro from this direction to that Best Western. whenever I think about it I will absorb these fact that getting there has two opposite scenery. This was a nice get away but still close to home. We do frequent this hotel and highly recommend it. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Upon check-in I was advised of what changes there were due to COVID 19. Luckily Denny's is next door and a convenience store across the street.

Best westerns are awesome. Not the most upscale hotels ever but it's easy to check in, very decent prices, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and things like a washer and dryer, ice, vending machines free parking and all that makes it very convenient and worth it. Last minute road trip, check in was fast, parking amazing ,just dont for get to ask for your remote batteries, love the mask policy..hotel should give breakfast vouchers for every guest for Dennieys next to them... There was sewage coming out of shower drain. I didn't notice until I was going to shower before I had to leave to work which made it such an inconvenience because I Had gotten barely enough sleep from the night before and to have to call the front desk and they gave me and my wife another room I can shower in, which we had to pack all of our stuff and rush over to the other room to make sure we showered by our late checkout of 12 and before I had to leave for work. I asked if my wife could have a late checkout of 1 for the inconvenience and the manager guy by the name of John quash wasn't able to let us checkout at 1. He was very rude about the situation and offered 10%off of our stay. If I would've see the sewer build up the night before I would have requested another room but unfortunately I didn't think I would have to inspect the whole room when checking in. I just expected to get some rest and be able to shower n go to work the next day. and plus I've stay at best western plenty of times with great customer service and this one time that John Quash (manager)has absolutely made me very sure that I never want to stay at that best western ever again.

This is an excellent hotel especially for the value. It's convenient and this amenities are very good. The desk clerk, Cynthia met all of my needs and expectations in a courteous professional manner. They are also taking all necessary precautions with COVID19 protection.

I had a great experience as I always do. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. I got to catch a glimpse of a deep cleaning they were doing to another room on my floor. Seeing all that they were doing made me feel very assured my room was cleaned properly. Especially, right now with covid 19. It was reassuring to witness just how much of a deep cleaning they were doing

Great just wish breakfast was available! Nice suite, wish you could stream your phone to the tv but, that can be future amenities. LoL... Doesn't make sense to have to write 200 words or more for review. People and situations change the situations dramatically. Park is real tight and you can damage your vehicle if not to careful

Nice room, big bathroom, easy location to find right off the freeway. I enjoy the convenience of having the denny right next to us. i really like the lotion, shampoo and conditioner the hotel provided. Very lovely scent. Most of the staff was awesome.

Aside from the very creepy front desk guy that can't stop staring at you I would say the walls are thin. The beds are hard but at least the pillows are flat. One kind day shift girl but the rest were very off putting and some creepy. One that I wouldn't trust a woman to be alone with. Sorry but it said tell the truth. No restaurants around there within walking distance. You could just have fast food up the road or hey here is a novel idea. Just up the highway there are a few hotels that might give a damn if the key system works. I had to get new keys every other day.

I stayed for four night I can remember it was great but the last night there was a bit of disturbance. There's an first time for everything it was my first and since it caused no serious trouble it's fine with me to make other reservations there at another time.Thanks

I scheduled 6 days prior and got 2 rooms next to each other, so we were able to speak with friends through the connecting door instead of being forced to walk to another room. They did what they could and did great at it.

The bed was very comfortable and the room temperature was great...able to change it to needed temperature. All of the amenities worked well. There were many breakfast items to choose from. Customer service was excellent.

Stay here all the time, the score of 2 is because of a front desk member that seemed to make argument with me about some things that im never questioned about, And instead of quickly resorting to trying to find out a possible solution, spent too much time going back and fowarth with me. The conclusion of the issues..was that i was actually right with both encounters and this could have went a lot different. Besides that, everyone there is ussually great and needs are ussually met! Just the noise of the main st and the fwy make it a bad location for a restful night sleep.

The hotel has great parking, ample breakfast selections, pool, and friendly staff. It is clean and is a great value for its close proximity to south bay areas of LA. Everything about this hotel met our every need. Parking to accommodate our cruise was very beneficial. The hot tub was out of order which was disappointing because it is one of our top criteria when looking.

Hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly. We stayed one night and left our car there while we went on our cruise. They are very accommodating for cruise passengers. Check out their stay and cruise availability if you are looking for an overnight or two before you go. The breakfast was great, plentiful and well attended. I would stay here again if in the area or for my next cruise.

Parking is a nightmare but the staff always willing to help you find a spot. Room are very clean and nice. Internet is really good but the hot water ran out pretty fast in the tub but all in all I had a good stay.

BEST 10 - I stayed at this BW location at the start of a cross-country road trip. It was a very nice property with a parking garage and a Denny's right next door. Good hot breakfast in the morning and very accommodating staff. I was very pleased with this stay.

While this property isn't fancy it will more then suit your needs. The staff are friendly, efficient and professional. The rooms and public areas are clean. The breakfast was more then adequate. We had a room at the back of the hotel so is wasn't too noisy.

I stay at Best Western hotels pretty often. It's my go-to when I just want a basic but reliable place. But this has been my worst experience. The building reeked of cigarettes and marijuana, including our non-smoking room. Our next door neighbor was blasting bass-heavy music until 3am. (I guess I should have seen the complimentary ear plugs as a warning sign...) The toilet was finicky, the lever would get stuck half the time and would loudly flush forever until we would manually lift it. The room itself was typical BW quality, but with all the mentioned issues, our stay was very uncomfortable. The front desk was polite but that's the only good thing I can really say.

We drove in the day before our cruise had a reservation at a different hotel but switched it to this Best Western. The service was top notch they went above and beyond with every request. I will stay here again next time we go cruising.

We have stayed here a few times the night before our cruise. Staff has always been very nice and helpful to any and all needs.Room clean and neat and breakfast is good. They will let you park your car here while on your cruise. About 5 miles to San Pedro port $11. plus $5.tip Lyft ride.Beats $19 a day parking. Will use them end of month for another cruise.

Entire staff was very helpful from Checkin all the way to checkout. Recommendations on restaurants , things to do and also arranged transportation. Breakfast was Excellent even homemade Waffles. Housekeeping staff very attentive as well .

The heater didn't work and it was really noisy. Would like them to make sure all is working correctly. Need heat hen it is 45 outside and raining. Would like to have had more meat options on the breakfast.

Great Customer Service. The rooms were super clean. I will be recommended this place is great location and what I like the most is that is quiet and you can actually sleep. Another thing that I like is that they have Continental Breakfast.

This hotel is very clean and a great location right of the freeway. Rooms are big and clean with free parking, wifi and breakfast. They even had earplugs and complementary bottled water. Very good even exceptional value.

Rooms have been upgraded....clean, crisp, modern. The pool and hot tub are hit and miss. If you require a hit tub....this is not the hotel to stay at. Breakfast is hot, nutritious, and goes on until 10am. If you arrive at 10am, you are not turned away, but pickings maybe slimmer.

First of all staff seems like they don't want to work here. Second parking is very limited so good luck. Finally what ruined it for me was no HOT water when it came to taking a shower!! Unbelievable!!

After driving all day ,my wife had 3 Dr.appointment in 1 day. I was very happy to lay my head down and get some rest. Very peaceful. Later I was able to get a swim and hit the hot tub.From the look of the hotel their are restaurant all around.Hope you don,t need it but hospital down the street.

We were four older Ladies travelling to the Los Angeles Cruise Terminal. This Property shows a lot of wear in the public areas. A bit run down. I reserved two rooms, and we had to wait two hours to get into the second room. That room had one bed with blood on the sheets when it was finally ready. The bath area in both rooms was adequate and clean, the beds were comfortable, but the over-all experience was not comfortable. Hotels in this area are expensive, but I don't feel the pricing was right for this particular hotel. I would suggest spending a little more and getting into a nicer lodging. Would be ok for families on a tight budget. There was a Denney's restaurant just across the parking-lot, so we didn't have to move the car to go to supper. And the freeway to take us to the Cruise Port was a block away. These are two reasons I chose this Best Western. I won't stay there again.

Room better than expected. Parking was difficult on weekend, friendly personnel and close to good locations (San Pedro, Long Beach, Wilmington). Noisy AC and sometimes the plug needs to be reset in the middle of the night. Wifi was working for a single device.

There are several pricier hotels closer to the San Pedro port but we chose Worldport for our overnight before a cruise. The rooms were spacious & clean. I was a bit concerned when I saw ear plugs in the room but I didn't use them & I never heard road noise. The included breakfast was typical (waffle, scrambled egg, sausage, etc.) but plenty. They have a park & cruise rate which allowed us to park our car in an underground garage for the duration of our trip. It is a bit tricky to get into if you are coming in from I-10 since there is no left turn lane by the entrance. We just made a u turn by the next light. Although they do not have a shuttle to the port an Uber XL cost us $13 plus. Not wanting to wait for an uber on the way back we were able to get a minivan taxi for around $9.00 for all 6 of us & our luggage. All in all it was a good stay.

The room was good and what I expected. The breakfast is very will supplied. Easy to find and close to work for me. The morning traffic patterns are crazy but not the hotels fault. The hotel staff worked hard to make my stay good. Best10

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. My room was noisy due to the proximity to the highway. Also you could hear the water running, showers and toilet flush in nearby rooms. There was not enough hot water to shower before bed and the tub faucet handle was so loose it was about to fall of. There was hot water in the morning. Some extra maintenance in the bathrooms would be helpful. Was not the typical Best Western quality I normally find.

This hotel was conveniently located for an event I was attending, and the most reasonably priced for the quality. No complaints on cleanliness or amenities, but do be aware that it is right on PCH/HWY 1 and HWY 110. Motercycles, revving cars, and sirens all night. They provided earplugs in the room (never a great sign) but some renovations with some thicker windows would go much further. Maybe rooms not facing Hwy 1 were quieter, if I do stay here again I would certainly request that. Otherwise fairly easy to get to, not a super sketch neighborhood, and a decent enough hotel for the price. Lots of families and groups seem to stay here before leaving for cruises due to its proximity to the cruise terminal, so the other guests were generally happy folks. Best budget hotel I've found in the area so far. Best10

My stay was good I found no reason on both my visit to that World port LA Best Western in Wilmington CA. to call the police that meant a lot to me.I found it comfortable enough to stay three nights. I hope their wifi quality will improve other than that l have no other unsatisfactory quest to ask of the hotel. This hotel is very new to me I am thankful for their last two promotions awesome.They also have great prices that is how I started becoming a customer beginning last month. I am not familiar with wilmington it's the first time I have ever been there and only to Best Western since the hotel is. clean I stay in my room when I visit. Also your food for breakfast was great there was a hot and continental that was great to have there and they didn't run out of anything, I enjoyed their fruits. .Thank you.

We stayed at this BW prior to our cruise. It was quick for in and out to the port. They have parking for up to 7 nights if you stay at least one night. It is covered parking too. We took a Lyft to the port the next morning. The continental breakfast was so-so but we were going on a cruise so we didn't mind. There were other cruisers that stayed the night too.

This was a great experience even with a couple of bumps the service was outstanding and the special touches to personalize the experience was very thoughtful. It is difficult to get in there lot but once you get past that, it is a nice place to stay very central to the things I needed to do.

We usually stay here before we leave on a cruise. They will keep your car in underground parking for up to 10 days and after that it's $10 a day. You can't beat that. It's about 14. before tip for an uber to the port. The rooms are clean and up to date. Breakfast was good.....surprising for a free hotel breakfast. Best10 for this Best Western

this hotel is conveniently located near the 110 south and PCH, making it ideal for any trip in the south bay area. Friendly staff, straightforward no frills amenities, and functionally acceptable breakfast and wifi offered(and free parking). Parking is a little tight on the street levele but there is an underground garage. For the reasonable price it was a decent stay.

This is my local Best Western!!! I stay there when i want to destress and get in the pool of course. The staff is extremely nice and everything about this place is clean and satisfying Best Value for the money you pay! 5 stars and would recommend this location with my eyes closed

Got a little lost trying to find hotel called 3 times staff couldn't give directions . Upon check in staff was argumentative gave us dirty room basically called us liars til I showed them pictures. If I could I would post them here

Solid hotel. Secure parking, free breakfast, and good staff. Free Wifi isn't great, hall smelled like marijuana but that is not the fault of the hotel. In general the place was clean and felt secure. Not sure if there is a print service or not but for the needs of a professional whose in town and needs a clean place to stay where their car is secure, this is a good place. Right off of the freeway. Good access to resturants and fuel.

we selected to stay little far from our long beach visit in LA. highly recommend if you looking for budget friendly but grand feeling of staying good looking best western standard hotel. parking is well designed and relaxed to accessible.

We have stayed at this hotel before so it made sense to come back. We find this hotel very convenient to find after a long flight from the UK. As it's close to the airport & a good starting point for your holiday. The rooms are clean & spacious, it's not 5 star but it's well worth the money the staff are very helpful & friendly you get a good breakfast to start the day. It has a pool & right next door you have a Denny's restaurant.i use this hotel for 2 nights at the beginning of my holiday & I will probably end up booking to stay there at the end of my holiday.

Conveniently located, nice amenities and reasonable price. Using the Best Western Gold Crown Club helps and has nice perks. We felt secure at the property and felt confident our vehicle would be safe.

We arrived 8 PM on Saturday night. Within minutes we were in our room. The pool area was open but weather was a touch chilly. We opted to go to 24 hr Denny's next door to get something to eat and a couple of brews to unwind. Hotel staff were super friendly and efficient. They informed us of free breakfast and our location relative to where we were to board ship. By cab it took us 5-10 minutes max. However, there is a bus stop right out front with routes to both Long Beach and SAN Pedro. Breakfast next morning was a godsend. Brilliant idea to have jugs of waffle batter all ready to go, so you can make your own hot waffles. Not in to waffles, no problem because they had everything and anything else you might want for breakfast. Anyone that's ever been trapped in a poorly managed cruise ship embarkation process knows the value of a good meal before you show up. Things go easier when you aren't hangry. The only slight downside was the $60 cab fare from LAX. However, the cabbie knew exactly where it was and got us there straight away. So the only improvement might be some type of shared shuttle service. It may already exist but we were just too tired to look. Even without a shuttle, I would gladly do it again and highly recommend to anyone leaving from SAN Pedro.

This hotel was recently remodeled and in a great location for anyone interested in driving and cruising from San Pedro or Long Beach ports. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, with make your own waffles, powdered eggs, sausage as hot items. A lot of cold options to choose from and hours of breakfast are 6-10, which was very convenient. Denney's restaurant is next door for more options.

We were so impressed and very satisfied that we will definitely return in the future. Area, was nice clean rooms organized breakfast area delicious, I enjoyed this day at the hotel made us feel very cozy and comfortable inspite that this trip was for a family funeral situation we were please and slept like babies.

Great for 'mobility' people. Totally ADA compliant 'roll-in' shower, toilet and bathroom area. Room was accessible, as well as all public areas in the hotel. The free courtesy water bottles surte beats chocolate mints on the pillow and athe free fruit and granola bars in the lobby are way cool. BTW; the Red Delicious Apple was probably the juiciest, sweatest, ripest apple I've had in a long time.

We stayed at this hotel because our original hotel was full when we decided to add an additional night. The pluses: #1. THE COST. It can't be beat. It's super close to the World Port where we took the Catalina Express to Catalina Island. FREE Parking. Free breakfast. Free newspaper. The room was large and clean. (Nice since there were three of us.) The bathroom looked like it had been recently remodeled and was sparkling clean. The drawbacks: #1. The street noise is awful. It is next to a busy street and the freeway. Convenient but noisy. (They did provide earplugs.) NO MICROWAVE. :( It was a little difficult to get into the parking lot. The parking spaces are tight. I would recommend it if you don't want to pay for a hotel you really aren't going to be in. We will probably stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel to park our car while going on a cruise. The accommodations were nice and the staff were especially nice. We parked our car in a basement covered parking garage that was easily accessible to an elevator. Very nice not to have to worry about the safety of our vehicle! The hotel staff arranged our taxi to the port. There is not a lot of dining options within walking distance but there is a Denny's right next door.

I checked in about 11:15 pm and just wanted a couple beers. I asked where I could go but a 6 pack. I was told across the road. You had to cross at the light. It was several hundreds yard walk. Homeless people, long lights... I got there in about 10 minutes but no beer sales after 11 pm. I've lived in some of the worst parts of New Orleans. This was scary. We got the 4th floor corner room. We walked past a dozen rooms being renovated all the way to the corner. Tub wouldn't drain, ooh yes and bring your own water.

This Best Western is in Wilmington, less than 15 minutes from the dock. We parked for 5 days underground for free, and took a Lyft back and forth to the dock. Between parking and the lovely breakfast, it feels like we stayed in the hotel for free! It's right next to a Denny's (that serves wine and beer!) and across from a convenience store to pick up a few munchy and sippy things for the room. Super easy after a long drive. There's also a few drugstores on the same road for last minute shopping before the cruise, I highly highly recommend.

Very friendly staff assists with easy check-in and accommodations at any given time. Pool & hot tub adds to the option to relax as well as breakfast buffet with variety of choice of food and juices. Excellent coffee as well!

This room was FILTHY and the carpet was stained everywhere and they had ROACHES crawling all over the place . We shook out our bags and left .Didnt care about the money we paid. Would rather take the loss. Don't stay here !!!!

Arrived on a Wednesday night around 950. Did the stay and park package with the cruise we are taking where we can park for free at the hotel if we are taking a cruise. Told the girl at the counter about the package we had. Received a parking ticket that only showed us parking one night. When I brought this to her attention she corrected it and then told me to fill out the vehicle information form they had. Then processed to tell me to go park in the underground garage as it is more secure for long term parking. Sounded good. Pulled out of the lobby and the parking garage underground is closed off. Went back inside and she is shocked and doesn't understand why it would be closed. Another person working heard us and commented that it was closed off "a while ago" and won't reopen until morning. Advises us to park anywhere and we can relocate in the morning. At this point my confidence in this place is waning. We finally get up to our room and the traffic from the freeway was awful and we could hardly sleep. And the AC was very noisy. But sleep we finally did. In the morning the breakfast was decent. Pretty standard hotel breakfast. The front desk made up for some of the issues the night before by allowing us to use some scissors to get new insoles that I got for my sons shoes. However, I checked before we left for the cruise on the parking issue as I had no confidence in the person working the night before and she only had us listed as staying one night still. So I had to fix that issue again. Maybe she was new, but this place needs to step it up. Especially since the noise issues are there also.

Positives – Best help yourself breakfast we had in the USA, large room with every facility you would want. Negatives – On the pricey side. For some a bit of a way out from Long Beach. Staffing quality variable. Details The hotel is situated along the main raod and metro link to Long Beach. We stayed for 1 night in Oct 2018. The cost for the room was £102 including a very good breakfast. The clean hotel room had a desk, space for clothes, two double good sized beds, seating area. It was large with a modern clean feeling. There was the usual bathroom with toiletries and complimentary coffee/tea. There was a good sized LCD TV with plenty of channels. Wi-Fi was variable. The staff varied from being helpful and friendly to ‘not that bothered' and lacking in friendliness. When we left we were ignored! The help yourself breakfast included cereals, juice, tea/coffee, porridge, fruit, bread for toast, pastries, yoghurt. Hot food was scrambled egg and sausage. Yes a good breakfast with plenty of choice by USA standards. It was quiet and we slept well. Overall we would recommend it even though it is pricey with 8.5 out of 10.

Everything at this Hotel is excellent from service to rooms to the free breakfast. For the money you will not find anything like this in LA. Will stay at this hotel again if I go back. Close to Long Beach, Palos Verdas and the Freeway back to the Airport and Los Angeles. I checked pricing all over the city this was the best.

I travel a lot for business. The staff here are great and are helpful with what ever you need. Nicely remodeled rooms and it's a good price. It pays to be a best western member... There are restaurants in the area and this is close to many interesting museums and a variety of attractions.

Always felt happy to walk into a nice environment with people with smiles on their face and willing to accommodate, I especially love the breakfast every morning, it is specially helps not having to go around to restaurants every morning I can eat in the comfort of being in the same place

Stayed there for two nights. The hotel is next to CA1 and I110 and it's very noisy during night. There are bugs but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of those. The worst thing is, when we came back from universal studio on the second day, the sink was full of disgusting muddy water. the onduty mgr said they don't have anyone to help clean it since it's too late and we had to clean it by ourselves. I was told they will investigate this issue and call me back, but I haven't received any callback up to now.

we stay here every time we come to the LA area we have family near by and we like the cleanness and quality i would definitely recommend it we have never had an issue of any type i love that it is a nonsmoking hotel

The staff is friendly, the rooms are OK (clean), beds are fair, breakfast is filling, but not very impressive (the eggs were consistently watery every day). While the rooms and bathrooms were clean every day, the hallways and stairways definitely weren't even halfway clean. There's not much parking at this facility, and if you get there late you'll really have trouble finding a spot (also, the elevator to the lower level closes at 10 so that can be a problem). It's VERY difficult to get into the hotel from the Pacific Coast Freeway as it's a really busy road. Making a right turn into the lot is tough! It's a haul to get to anywhere north, but it's not too bad a drive to Long Beach and there's lots to see and do there.

Nice rooms. Ok breakfast. No problem with parking. Enjoyed trip. Only problem was the room was street facing and the noise from the road and being next to the freeway got quite loud in the morning. But otherwise not bad for the price.

Not enough hot water for showers; bed creaks when you move even the slightest. Lighting in room was poor. The breakfast was very good; the help average. We stayed here before so we returned. Things have gone downhill. We were told they are renovating; why they took so long to do this, I am not sure.

Love staying to this hotel. Its close to everything. Bed is very comfortable and clean. Free breakfast and parking is a plus. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Will defenitely coming back.. only downpart is driving to the entrance of the hotel. Pacific coast HIway is a busy street and you have to go around denny's and make a right to get to the entrance of the hotel. But other than that it was a great hotel for me.

Only downside was driving to the entrance of the hotel is alittle bit challenging especially pacific coast Hway is a very busy street.

Excellent. Everything was great. Room was comfortable and clean. Didn't use the A/C as it was cool outside so just opened the window for night time ventilation. Bathroom had a bathtub and toilet and the sink and vanity was in the main living area. The complimentary breakfast is what you would find in any hotel, basic offerings. The area was neat and clean.

The place is not mind-blowing, but it is clean and well located. Public transportation is never a strong point of LA, but with the bus stop right in front of the hotel it is not too difficult to get to the down town of Long Beach. The room wall is however slightly too thin, and you can be disturbed by the people next door. There is still room for improvement for breakfast in terms of both variety and taste. But, hey, given the price, it's not too shabby at all.

Wanted a 2 good affordable hotel. This was a pleasant experience. Stayed 2 nights. The hotel was very warm and cosy. Nice rooms, morning breakfast was also good. Not very high scale or continental but the breakfast had everything you would want as a morning breakfast at home, very good indeed. Very nice staff, always smiling and very pleasant. Never felt I was staying away from home. Will stay again

I am not familiar with the area so I picked this hotel based on price. The family was going to see the USS Iowa down the road, my son-in-laws father served on this ship.Very interesting tour. The staff were very helpfulThe night clerk on at night on the 19 (should have written down his name) was great. The room was large two queen beds should have been two king beds there was ample room. The breakfast was your typical Best Western buffet breakfast. They had blueberry waffles, they must have been good , my grand daughter ate 2. A side from the battleship there is not much around, terminal island is not far so if you like watching container ships get unloaded and loaded or if you are going to Catalina Island a ship sailed from here that as far as I could see that was it. A new bridge is being built so a lot of construction going on. This is a nice hotel and if for some reason I would come back here I would stay at this Best Western

sick and tired of some bestwesterns refusing to let someone checkin a bit early, even though the maids have been cleaning rooms since the morning. this is bull. But if you are willing to pay $20.00 then all of a sudden they have a room. from now on i will check on this before i book a room again. to sit in the lobby for up to an hour because they refuse to accomodate you is ARROGANCE

The parking ain't the greatest, not much to do in that area. The ggod thing is it's very close to the freeway, which is also bad if you're trying to get into this hotel during peak traffic time. This place serves it's purpose I guess, nothing fancy or special, it could be worse I guess.

This hotel was chosen only because we were unable to secure a room at other Best Western's in the Los Angeles area. The property itself is acceptable. Friendly enough staff and clean rooms, but amenities (or lack thereof) tend to tell the story of the area and guests of this hotel. A lack of towels in the bath/shower was the most glaring sign that the clientele was not to be trusted. Free breakfast, a staple of Best Western hotels, left a great deal to be desired. Sausages served needed to be cut with a knife into bite-sized pieces, but the plastic utensils offered were too flimsy to do the job; scrambled eggs were tasteless. A decent place to stay in a pinch, but not one I would recommend or return to personally.

my travel agent had the right address but had San Pedro instead of pre-booked Wilmington. San Pedro were NOT helpful COULDN'T contact Wilmington or shuttle, got a cab, I was lucky San Pedro staff & location appliance do not compare to Wilmington. the office & breakfast staff were very helpful. I was out for long walk needed a coffee they let me get one from the breakfast room, about 4pm, arrange for a cab to ship next morning EXCELLENT,Thanks Ed

We used this hotel before and after a cruise. It was quite comfortable and the staff were friendly. It's best to ask for a room facing the back, as there was more traffic noise from PCH when we had a room on the front side. The breakfast was simple but fine, and free is always good! The air conditioner was not too noisy. We especially appreciated the opportunity to leave our car for free during our cruise. It was parked safely in the underground parking lot.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the freeway. You will need a car to get around to the amenities although a Denny's is next door. The staff was friendly and helpful. Had to call maintenance once to fix a stuck drain, and they were prompt and took care of it. Will stay here again for future cruise sailings out of LA.

Best internet connection speeds I have found in hotels in the area. Very clean rooms and polite staff. Made the stay very comfortable. Only down side is the entrance is right next to a busy road and can make getting in difficult at different times of the day.

Everyone was really friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great (coffee could use an improvement but I'm picky), the hotel was conveniently located around beaches and there was a Denny's within walking distance which was nice. I'll stay here again!

this hotel isn't bad at all. nice caring staff...fits a average budget for hotel stays. the location is very attainable in the california area...anyone who needs a decent place to stay may appreciate this hotel.

I stayed here for 4 weeks on a business trip, spent a lot of time working from the room. Excellent Internet connection. Breakfast is free and very good. What makes this hotel spectacular are the staff, friendly, efficient and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Would happily stay here again and hope to soon.

Good family spot near airport. The rooms were good, clean and comfortably slept 5 Didn't make it to the pool. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. Only issue was key didn't work very well and staff couldn't fix it.

For the price, the hotel was okay. I expected a bit more for what I paid comparing to similar priced hotels. However, it wasn't a bad experience. Here is the list of pros and cons... Pros: Affordable, rooms were clean, spacious rooms, good customer service, right off the freeway, good location Cons: Free breakfast (No cooked eggs), very limited selection, this is probably my worse experience with free breakfast from the hotels I've stayed, guess you shouldn't complain when it's free!! Haha but I am! Parking spaces are too small, again it's free so.... The t.v. is outdated with poor picture quality, the lightbulb in the room burned out on the flip of the switch (too tired to ask them to swap), old elevator. Well, there you have it. That's my opinion on this room. Would I stay here again, sure, if I don't find a similar priced room from a higher star hotel or brand. But other than that, it was a good experience and recommended for a nice clean room! Oh, there is a dennys within 1 minute walking distance from the hotel so if you aren't satisfied with your meal here ha! Hope this helps!!

The hotel is located right off the fwy, the rooms are very spacious. The parking area is a bit small. If you have a suv it can be tricky to get a decent parking spot without having to grab a piece of the parking next to you.The breakfast was ok. if you ask me the hash browns needed to be cooked a bit more and would've loved to have some scramble eggs instead but for being a complimentary breakfast it was good. The staff was very nice and helpful.

no HDMI access, when asked for help they said they needed it to be unlocked and the only person so skilled to do so was not in. my kids were bored out of theor mind for 3 days without theor games as I worked

I stayed here for five nights. The location of the hotel is okay, except getting in and out of the hotel is a nightmare. There is a major intersection right there. The parking at the hotel is okay if you have a smaller car, but if you have a larger vehicle it is difficult. The room itself was great, nice firm bed with lots of pillows. It was clean and well kept. The outside had a pool with a hot tub, is wasn't huge but it did the trick. The breakfast was disappointing, if you were looking for your standard eggs, sausage and toast breakfast... it wasn't here. Would I stay here again? Maybe. It really wasn't that bad, the price was a good value for the money.

Unless you know how to get into the parking lot, it may be a little odd to figure out at first. Once that is done parking is plentiful. Otherwise a good stay. Breakfast was a rather typical continental style and was also good.

Very clean Hotel and room. Courteous staff. Breakfast included with nice variety choice including cereal, bagel, muffin, fresh cooked waffles, eggs and sausages, fruits and yogurts as well as coffee, tea, orange juice and other fruit juices. Free Wifi works great. The only negative was the TV resolution screen which was not very good. Also, the proximity of the highway makes it a little noisy but it did not disrupt our sleep.

This was an OK hotel to stay at. the room was nice and the housekeeping staff was phenomenal! however, the matress I had to sleep on was like sleeping on a concrete slab!! I told the front desk about it and all the guy could do was shrug his shoulders and grunt! some customer service. I asked if all the matresses were like this and he said I guess so?!? Some answer to receive! THe hotel entrance was terrible to get in and out of during afternoon traffic. Just about every day when I returned to the hotel, I had to go at least a block down the road, turn around and come back. Breakfast, for the few short days I could use it was OK but they don't open till 7 am and I had to be on my customer's site at 7...

Great little hotel in between San Diego & LA. Price for two beds, free breakfast & free wifi and free parking was just $115 a deal. Rooms were nice and comfy. We were happy with our selection, especially since we didn't plan to be hotel except to sleep.

We stayed here as it was the closest hotel to friends. The facility looks new and is very nice. The location is very noisy, road and freeway nearby, lots of traffic. And I lost count of the sirens that went by.

Very good service. The people works there are helping us to have a good time. Room is clean and provide very good breakfirst. This Best Western is located in the busy portion of high way 1 and some time it is not easy to get in.

Let's begin with the monotone front desk associate. While the young woman was not rude, she held no personable customer service attributes and snarled at me when I asked why I needed to sign a nondisclosure regarding smoking in the rooms. She was intense about it and made me uncomfortable. We're not smokers, period. Our room smelled like an ashtray though and where possible hookers urinate on their clientele. The smell was atrocious. My husband hates confrontation and insisted that we not complain, so I took matters into my own hands. I went to target to purchase our own sheets and blankets because ours smelled and had stains, yuck! The breakfast was well below standards, even for BW. The eggs appeared the worst, we left and found a nice cafe within reasonable price range. While I know that much of a vacation isn't spent in your hotel room, I'd still like to experience comfort while I need to be in there. The toilet hardly flushed and the shower did have proper water pressure. I've experienced better pressure in a rinky dink trailer of South Phoenix. For the same price as other competing hotels, you need to step up your game or lower your prices. Paying almost $300 for two nights of scum, was DISAPPOINTING. I will never stay at BW again!

I enjoyed my stay this was one of my favorite Best Western Hotels I've ever stayed in. I just wish there were more channel options on the tv. The breakfast was nice and the eating area was clean. I definitely will be back.

Excellent customer service and very clean rooms. Bed was comfortable, pillows were very hard. Located in a very busy street and hard to get into the driveway. Had to drive another block to make a U turn and go back to towards the hotel to enter the hotel

Pretty basic hotel amenities but no gym and TV in the room had poor reception. Nice, friendly staff. I did not use the free breakfast but the room looked clean and pleasant. I also didn't use the small pool but it looked nice and well kept.

The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. They are not too well insulated for sound. The hotel is in an industrial area with older apartments. It's not too far from a number of tourist attractions. We will stay there again. .

No TV service in room, broken a/c in room, 6-8 comforters stored between mattress and box spring, one single working outlet in room, internet out in lobby and broken lobby printer (unable to print boarding passes), generally dirty everywhere, unfriendly staff. Very disappointed in this location. Best Western is usually an impressive stay no matter where you go, except LA Worldport.

Each location varies of their services and products.Well known franchise hotel should carry on their reputation around the globe. As former employee of Best Western, training for staff is mandatory in order to deliver good service.

Customer Service was fast and easy and the girls at the front desk were professional and nice... nice lobby,pool,Jacuzzi, and free breakfast. Our room and bathroom were cleaned, bed and pillows were comfortable! I will definitely stay here again!!!

Was in town for a quick getaway and this hotel meet my expectations and needs.ill be back for sure to experience. The town and cities surrounding lots of places to see and enjoy close to Hollywood and LAC

Very clean and recently renovated rooms. Queen and King rooms have sitting desk and working desk with excellent WiFi reception in rooms. Hotel is well managed with lots of parking. Rates are reasonable for this part of town.

We always enjoyed our stays at the Best Western Hotel. We used to always stay there in the past during our annual trip to Bremerton Washington for golfing. A couple of times we took our grandkids to Seattle Washington for shopping and leisure and stayed at the Best Western Hotel. I'm sure that in the future, we'll still stay at the Best Western as well as recommend it to some of our friends.

i chose this hotel do to it being close to the Hospital where my loved one was, but during my stay not only did i see one rat but more, the owner/ manager was not reasonable when i informed him of his issue. I immediately contacted the health department.

Although a lot of traffic noise while trying to sleep to close to the road heard sirens and motorcycles and another thing we did not care for was no Fox News Channel cause on the 23rd my husband was I'll and had to stay in the room all day and could not watch Fox

This hotel has easy parking and a pleasant staff that are very helpful. Breakfast is minimal as is expected for this level of Best Western. But the breakfast room is clean and nice. Rooms/bathrooms are outdated, but also as expected for this level of hotel. The Internet service was reliable and reasonably easy to access. It is tricky to enter or exit the hotel driveway due to the proximity to the freeway and that it is on PCH. The road is very busy (all the time), but is horrible at rush hour. Impossible to turn left during these times.

On check-in night, a member of our party had a on-line reservation issue. The front desk staff was not particularly helpful and a friend of theirs was lying down on the lobby couch! The elevator was painfully slow and the stairwell from the 3rd floor led to the parking lot not the lobby. I'm giving a 2 star rating because the bed was comfortable, the continental breakfast was fine, and the cleaning staff were thorough.

I enjoyed my stay at the Best Western. The hotel is very clean and my room was cleaned everyday by housekeeping. I'm not sure about breakfast because I didn't try it. The only complaint I have is the entrance into the hotel. It's on a very busy street and it's hard to turn in with traffic.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and have had great experiences each time. The rooms smell good even the smoking rooms. The beds are big and comfy, adequate tv channels, the windows actually open so you can feel the California weather. The halls were very hot on my last stay no biggie! The shower feels good, nice and hot. They need to do a better job for breakfast but there is however a Ihop next door, I've never eaten there though. Overall I will still stay there over and over.

Great location if you want to get on Hwy 110 or Pacific Coast Hwy, but terrible for sleep. Cars peeling out and revving their engines all hours of the night, and this hotel is right at the intersection. While it was very clean, there are no real extra's. No coffee in the lobby, and breakfast isn't open until 7 AM. The coffee maker in the room only made one cup - for three adults? The TV selection was poor, and no guide was provided. No Best Western book in our room, so we didn't know what was nearby. No grab bar or mat in the tub, which made it a safety hazard. Breakfast was mediocre, just grab and go stuff. Only an outdoor pool which opens only to stairs (so not wheelchair accessible), and no workout room. There was a convenience store and gas station across the street - if you wanted to risk life and limb getting there! Otherwise, walking score was zero (nearest grocery was about a mile away). Definitely not worth the price.

It is a great location for easy freeway access. The mattress was hard and worn, carpet needs to be replaced, bugs in the breakfast container. The parking lot is dark not well lite. Room lighting is a bit dim not very bright.

The pool area is much nicer than I expected. Very quiet clean and appealing setting with a nice mature tree that provides some shade. The rooms are a little dark and dated but clean and reasonable considering the price. Overall a very decent place. One thing that irritated me slightly was that they have nice big HDTVs in the rooms but no HD service. One of my reasons for booking was the TVs looked really good and I was a little disappointed that HD was not available.

We booked another hotel in L.A., it was really terrible, later we changed into this hotel. It located in a nice place which is close to the airport, they have shuttle bus could send costumers to airport. But this hotel is not very close to the Universal Studio. L.A. has a little busy traffic, 30-40 mins from this hotel to Universal Studio. Nice employees, they're really helpful. Not bad breakfast. Worth to stay.

The staff was wonderful, but the bed was just awful. It was as hard as a rock and I left completely exhausted because I could not sleep. There were no other rooms available so I was given blankets to pad the mattress. I would have checked out and moved to another hotel but everything was booked. There is road construction in front of the hotel that makes entering and exiting difficult but my room was surprisingly quiet.

I didn't have any problem with location, price and room! It's decent for amount of money that I pay! All things inside was working. We even have small refrigerator! Wish they have microwave! Reception was nice and friendly! We had small talked ask me what part of Florida I'm from, when she saw my Drivers lic! Inform me about continental breakfast! Next to hotel was Denny's ! Parking was easy no problem! Secure! Internet was free so I can't complain that sometimes is slow! Over all is good place to stay, I have 2 small kids with me and my husband! Good driving distance to all the place we visit! I can come back again for future use!

The toilet was not flushing well. Front desk not friendly. When we visited they were working on the road in front of hotel and shut off water from 8pm-5am but hot water was shut off throughout the day. Unable to shower well. The toilet was never fixed and it took them an hour to come see it.

We personally feel very comfortable coming to Best Western. This hotel is very cozy and consistent with their customer service and hospitality. Best Western will continue to be my first choice for my getaway experiences.

The Staff is not helpful, bad internet, questionable food, and always remodeling with no visible improvement to the facility. It is hard to get into parking lot because the facility is next to the freeway.

Very noisy hotel - needs better noise level struscture the windows need to keep the noise out not in the hotel needs to have better windows since the hotel is right off the fwy exit Kids running around at 7 am in the hallways I was there for a conference and never again will I recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family.

I look for a clean room; I found one; we will be back! You will not be dissatisfied with the quality of the room you are given. Breakfast coffee great; other items on menu I could take or leave, but...my interest was the cleanliness of the room and received this.

If you need a decent hotel for a short stay in the area and do not want to pay premium prices, then this is a good choice. I'm not wild about the location, but the hotel is clean, the staff is competent, and the rooms seem recently renovated. The breakfast is typical and OK. There are better choices in the area for more money but if they are booked or you are looking to save, this is your next choice.

Pleasant stay with the exception of the bed. They need to replace the mattresses. Clean bathrooms. good breakfast and friendly people. Easy on and off the freeway. Check in and out was quick. Only place to eat close by is a Denys.

This hotel was adequate for our purpose. We were leaving on a cruise the next day and only needed it for 1 night. The room was clean but the A/C fan was making a terrible noise so we could not use it. My main concern was that the handicap room we booked was on the 2nd floor when I specified a ground floor room. In the event of a fire or earthquake, my husband would have not been able to get out as he cannot walk.

Stayed here for a night. Breakfast was good, pleasant staff. Only complaint was that the tenants in the apartment building behind the hotel were VERY noisy throughout the night. And, I had a hard time connecting to the free wifi. I would definitely stay here again.

The people were great, the suite outstanding and a really nice breakfast. Booked us in several hours early to large comfortable suite. When we were leaving very early before breakfast were given Danish and coffee.

I was treated so well here. The staff is wonderful. I will be back again and again. I used all the areas like the pool, laundry, business center Etc. and all were clean and in great shape. I Would recommend this hotel if your in this area.

The room is clean, well lighted and spacious. The room decoration is simple but more than acceptable. The internet connection worked fine. The staff is courteous and helpful. The continental breakfast is basic and plentiful. The hotel is next to a number of restaurants but also to a traffic light with busy traffic and the left turn to the hotel from one direction is not obvious. This hotel offers good value for the $$.

Older, well worn hotel. The lobby was very large and fairly unwelcoming - it seemed to need more furnishings. Our room appeared clean enough and the countertop to the vanity area seems to have been recently renovated. There was a nice size TV (42” perhaps) mounted to the wall and our room had enough space. The entire place could do with a remodel. The power outlets were not really accessible. There was nothing near the bed where I had to sit (the room didn't have an easy chair, only a table with two chairs and no outlets there either). There was no lobby coffee and no microwaves in room - but there was one in the breakfast area that the front desk staff would unlock for us to use. This microwave was super as it was 1200 watts and cooked our popcorn perfectly in 90 seconds. Internet was not very robust and I could not stream videos. There were no grab bars of any kind in the tub - we didn't feel very secure using it. The sink area is in the main part of the room and had a generous vanity that also held the in room coffee items and the ice bucket. The smoking rooms are on the top floor so, if you are a nonsmoker you won't want to be there. Our bed was interesting as it shook every time one of us moved or coughed. The mattress looked different than anything I've seen in a hotel before and it reminded me of those I've seen in university residence halls. We would have done much better with two beds. Hal, the manager was very understanding when I explained the issue and he said he'd be replacing the bed in our room (324). He was very concerned about our discomfort and I was impressed by his reaction. If two people will be occupying the room, I'd recommend checking the bed immediately or opt for a room with two beds. Breakfast was continental but sufficient. They had cereal, a waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal packages, Yoplait yogurt, breads for toasting and sweet rolls. Nothing else was really needed.

car broken into and 2 carryons taken. GenMgr never was in attendance or called me. $230 to repair window and not a word about their culpability. I asked to park in front-they said no park in underground spots.

My room was located next to stair entrance. Through the night I become aware of the stair door being closed. The noise was a very short metalic sound, yet loud enough to wake me up from my sleep. The interruption occurred at least 10 times.

Stay 2 nights here right next to the I-110,clean room , good rates, good breakfast , ok staff , free parking and Wi-Fi no reataurants are shopping in the area hard to get to if you come off the I-110 you have to make a U turn on the PCH

Good place to stay for a couple nights. Right next to the freeway and close to the beach. The surrounding area really has nothing special to offer. The rates were very reasonable and the rooms were good. I enjoyed my 2 night stay at the hotel but encountered only one problem, I found some blood stains on the bed sheet after the first night and that was the only turn off. Everything else was good except that. I would still return, I would just check the sheets beforehand.

Enjoyed our stay We left our vehicle there while taking a two week cruise. Have booked this hotel again for a future cruise. Very helpful staff. Breakfast area could use more seating. A bit difficult to get to this hotel as you must make a U-turn on a busy street.

Staff was very helpful in describing area and how to travel within Wilmington.This area was very different from when I was a child and I was trying to locate my grandparents' home which is so very near this Best Western. We will return.

This hotel is alright. Does need updating. Despite it being holiday the hotel was quiet which was nice. Room itself is outdated and needed a new mini fridge and coffee maker. TV was old and has less than 30 channels with nothing on. Atleast the wifi was decent. I don't like the 2 sided door sign with one that do not disturb and the other says please clean. I think people go by and flip them over because I got a knock my door from housekeeping. There is plenty of parking and they have luggage carts. I'd maybe stay again if they improve the hotel.

Had business in the area, its very conveinient to the cruiseship terminals. The rooms are fine, good furnishings. The manager was a bit pushy, getting in my business, and following me around. Suggesting I go inside and eat something. I found that a bit off-putting. Their 'continental breakfast' is nothing more than: stale packaged muffins, apples, sugary juices and rank coffee. If thats your idea of "breakfast"? GREAT! However right next door, is a 24hr. DENNY'S. I liked the hotel, however not too pleased about the Manager, talking to me like I'm stupid, and making "notes" of my commings-and-goings.

Very friendly hotel staff! The AC wasn't working in our original room. We were moved from our room and upgraded to a VIP Suite in less than 10 minutes. Wonderful customer service! Great location also.

Nice hotel for the purpose of leaving your car when taking a cruise. For a one night stay you can leave your car for up to 14 days. They do not offer shuttle service. We take a cab to the port. Much more convenient. With tip taxi fair around $20. When we return another cab back to the hotel to get the car. Easier than waiting for a hotel shuttle bus. Breakfast we skipped but went next door to Denny's instead. Room nice size, comfortable bed, good shower. Getting there off the 110 on to Pacific Coast Highway a little tricky, busy corner. My GPS made me turn left (east) on PCH but coming south make a right onto PCH, hotel on the left after you turn next to Denny's.

Free watched parking while your on a cruise. Most lots near the piers charge around $16 a night with a free shuttle. At the world Port you have to you get a Taxi for around $20.00. A good bargain by any measure

We were visiting grandchildren in the San Pedro area and normally stay in the Best Western Plus on Gaffey St., but even though we'd booked several months in advance, that hotel did not have 5 consecutive nights open during our visit. Good medium-range price hotels are rare in the port area so we booked a room at Best Western LA Worldport only 10 minutes north of our son's house. The location is a very busy one (almost under I-110) so we asked for a far room. The first problem was the king bed. Every time one of us moved, the other would feel it like an ocean wave. The second problem presented itself at 2:00 a.m. when very loud noise from a party in the adjoining room filtered through the door. (Avoid adjoining rooms.) We called management but the noise continued another hour. Next morning we spoke with the Manager, Hal, and he addressed the situation immediately. He took time to speak with us at length to determine the problems and took immediate action. Our room was changed to a quiet, non-adjoining type room and we heard no more noise for the rest of our stay. Hal had housekeeping exchange the mattress in the new room for a new mattress from their warehouse next door and, although it was slightly less 'wave-inducing' than the first one, still did not come up to the standard of mattress a hotel of this caliber should be using. That being said, we slept quite well the next four nights, in part because we felt Hal addressed our complaints with quick action and empathy. Thank you, Hal!

I stayed on the fourth floor which was a smoking floor unbeknownst to me, it reeked from the smell of a party from 1969 if you catch my drift dude. I complained to the desk but know one seemed to care.

The location was within 45 minutes of the airport which was what we were looking for. Our room request of a top floor was granted and even though we didn't use the pool we would have if we had more time. Staff was kind and courteous.

I was able to book, for the best rate, a smoking room at this visit. The last time I stayed it was a non-smoking room. I want to complement the staff that I did not notice any offending odor of smoke in the room. Thank you for that. The only difference is the bed covers where not as nice as the non-smoking rooms. I can completely understand why this may happen. The internet speed was GREAT. Though it was a Family travel deal I was able to pop into my work server and get a few things done. Thank you making the internet available.

i just find this location i was with my girlfriend and we have very good experience with this hotel and room room was really clean fresh air with perfect AC unite service was excellent people working at lobby doing good job friendly and fast I'm prey sure we come back and choose this location again come back soon thank you

Hotel priced right, in the area of LA we were visiting to spend time with family. Only drawback was parking was tight for a pickup as most was for compact vehicles and the hotel was located on a corner so it was tough getting in and out of lot onto the street due to traffic buildup at the light.

Hotel was nice location not so nice right at corner of freeway entrance trying to maneuver with traffic can be taxing. Rooms were quiet and finding place to eat is right next door (Denny's). Hotel continental breakfast was pretty good

This staff at this hotel were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and somewhat updated. The location is close to many LA and Long beach attractions. Area is just a tad bit dodgy, but overall great experience!
