The hotel was clean but it was disappointing that we weren't able to be accommodated for dinner. I managed to persuade them to let me sit with my family in the bar area at least. We had been travelling 8 hours and hadn't been told before hand that a dinner booking was necessary. Also whilst our room was clean the lamp post outside the room was a little annoying as the blind was see through - like a mesh material. Would be very annoying if it had been summer as the light would have come in early.
Great up to date hotel with an awesome breakfast in a spread out space indoor or outdoor. Nice Rooms. Super Duper Clean, Really clean. Parking right out front of hotel. Fairly well lit. Great restaurant for dinner and drinks.
I have been staying at this hotel for at least the past 10 years to attend a conference. The hotel has always been clean and well staffed. The conference is every two years and every time we came back the hotel had upgraded. First it went from a small bar to a nice lounge area. Then the little outside patio became a huge outdoor seating area for breakfast or dinner and it is now covered in case of bad weather. The breakfast was always good and now it is has one of he best selections I have ever seen. This past year they added on to the entrance and created a game room. I think all the rooms were renovated during the pandemic so they are very nice. It is a 5 minute walk to some shopping and food options and small grocery store with great German food options. Hotel also has great meeting facilities which we used for training purposes. This is a great hotel for business or pleasure if you are staying outside of Munich. Note that the closest S-bahn station is at least a 20 minute walk but there is a public bus that provides transport to and from the station and it stops two minutes away from hotel. The staff at hotel will provide you with great instructions. They all speak fluent English. It is about 20 minute train ride to downtown Munich. Finally, the hotel has a good A/C system which seems more important these days in the summer months
Check in was fast and the staff were friendly. The room was big and really good for a family, and we had everything we needed. A plus was the complimentary water and a piece of candy in the room. The TV and visual aids were up to date.
i booked 6 rooms for September a month a go(in march). they been confirmed. 2 days a go they texted me that they are canceled :( . reason no rooms available. how can be no rooms available as long they been confirmed ? tricky people, i will never ever choose this hotel or other from their chain.
Room was excellent, staff was amazing and rate was very reasonable for a 4+ star hotel. (Neighborhood was commercial but safe. McDonald and Aldi nearby.) I would stay again. Shower was one of the best. Bed was super-comfy.
Very spacious and clean rooms. They had an espresso machine in every room with two complementary capsules per day. The breakfast had typical German sausages, scrambled eggs and other hot choices. There was also cold breakfast and sweets. The staff was very friendly. The establishment had also a very cozy room where you could have a beer at the end of the day. Parsdorf is no more than 20mins form Munich by car. So, the location is ideal when traveling by car. A very quiet location too. There was a very fast internet connection too. The parking place was a little bit small. In case it was full, there was a secondary place to park the car. That was not very comfortable for us because we had equipment to carry to our minivan.
The hotel is outside Munich and although it is four star, there were some flaws. The room was spacious and the bed and linens comfortable. The bathroom was poorly aired, even with the fan on all the time. The room was situated in a corridor that was far from the router which made internet connection almost impossible. Something that I wouldn't expect from a hotel of this caliber.
Nice and well maintained hotel outside Munich. The hotel is situated in an industrial area with not much to see but well situated to visit the "Messe" in Munich. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is really good. Generally the staff is friendly and helpfull.
We only stayed one night here, I wish we could have stayed longer! Top notch service! Clean, quiet, comfortable room with an excellent restaurant. It is a ways off of the beaten path, but worth it! The pork cordon blue was excellent and the breakfast buffet was probably the best hotel breakfast I have ever had.
Great hotel. Great cortesy. The room was very clean. The breakfast is very good. We had dinner at Alm Grill restaurant. The dinner was very delicious. Next time in Munich we will surely stay there. The best Best Western Hotel we ever stayed.
After we parked we went to the reception. Check in was fast and the staff were friendly. The room was average and clean. I did not miss anything in the room, except maybe a pair of slippers and a room. A plus was the complimentary water and a piece of candy in the room. The TV and visual aids were up to date. One thing that sticked out in a positive way was the "pillow menu". I haven't seen that before and I actually bought one her pillow with me. The food in the restaurant was good, but a little overpriced, probably because the guests haven't got any close-by options. The service was good, except one little mistake. They served the pre-drinks after the food had come, but things like that happens. The spa department was very stylish, but coming from the North, it felt a bit awkward, but one has to take the rituals with the culture where one is. We stayed for three nights and used the place as a base camp to explore the surroundings. It was homey, so we could easy have stayed for a week. There are also a nice outdoor bar on both sides of the hotel.
We spend a prolonged weekend with 3 nights there. I selected it because of the steakhouse (they call it Almgrill), the spa/wellness area and because it's easy to reach Munich downtown by public traffic. So far so good.. We arrived Friday evening, after a 4h drive looking forward to a decent steak and were told that the restaurant is fully booked, no space even for hotel guests, not good..! A very good alternate , by the way, is the nearby „alte post“. Sunday we took it easy and wanted to spend most of the day in the spa. No sir, it opens at 4pm. That was the second not good. Third was the room, we booked a suite (no 1228), actually we had one, fully equipped with everything and a nice bathroom. But since it was right under to roof only very limited window area. The shower cabin, by the way was leaking (no go #4). But there are good things: People there are very nice and helpful, Almgrill is fantastic (we got a table for the next day). The spa/wellness is fabulous. They also have a decently equipped gym, which is open 24h, I guess. The bar in the Lobby is very good (nice Gin Tonics and some good single malts), big TV screen with shows actual sports highlights. Breakfast is just great, Wifi fast and reliable. Parking is free. Around the hotel is not much to do, because no spa we went for a long stroll in the nearby woods. There is also some shopping outlets within walking distance.
I am staying this place for More than 10 years ...never had bad experience in rhis hotel Price is more than fair and you have great staff and service level with their shuttle sevice Breakfast and restaurant are also very good
The room wasn't clean upon my check-in and the front desk wasn't very friendly when i called about the wifi. I am not sure that I would stay here again. It was during a fair at the exhibition hall and I would think they would be ready for a full hotel.
We stayed here while attending a fair at Munich fair grounds and the team was super friendly. We checked in late which was no problem (24h reception), the room was fair sized and semi modern. A bit old fashioned however it well fit the overall atmosphere of this hotel. They are well equipped and ready to host large groups of fair visitors, checking was done in 3min and they have a huge parking lots available, free of charge. We'll definitely come back here.
The room of this hotel is spacious and clean. The staff are helpful and the breakfast is great. However, it is located about 30 minutes by train from Munich city centre. If you are visiting Munich for conference, exhibition or other events, this could be a good choice. There is practically nothing nearby the hotel.
A lovely hotel situated perfectly for the congress centre. I hired a meeting room too and the service has been second to none. All the staff are lovely and polite and so very helpful. I have to personally thank Matthias who went above and beyond to assist me with so many things. I have asked if I can kidnap him but I'm not sure he's keen!
Nice and comfortable Hotel in Munich Area. Excellent Service, Restaurant and rooms. Deluxe Spa and beautiful Biergarten. Hotel offers shuttle Service. Quick check in and check out. Multi language Team.
Great overall experience. Good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant serves a good wienerschnitzel. We had a family room, which had great beds and was very spacious. We only spent one night, but expect to book a couple of nights nex
This hotel was perfect location for my business needs and although the hotel is slightly dated the food in the restaurant was excellent and service of the staff was excellent. There are some good local shops and delicatessen within walking distance. The air conditioning was good but slightly noisy. Gym was functional and well equipped.
This is a really nice hotel with the feel of a proper German "Gasthaus". They serve regional food and beer (all excellent, by the way, and very good value), have a great breakfast selection (smiley faces stamped on the boiled eggs - nice touch) and their staff are friendly and helpful. There is ample parking and the WiFi was also surprisingly good. This is clearly a family-run operation with some tradition and they are proud of what they do. There are also a few outlet shops nearby - handy if you happen to tear your favourite shirt whilst staying there, as I did. The downside: it's kind of in the middle of nowhere. Aside from the outlets, there isn't much else within walking distance and it's in what I found to be a fairly remote location. Fine if you have a car, irritating otherwise. This also means NO UBER and a reliance on local taxis, one of which took more than an hour to show when booked. However, this was a minor inconvenience. I booked the next one well in advance and it worked out OK. I enjoyed my stay here and would come again.
Although it was difficult to find due to a massive road works on the highway nearby, the hotel was perfect. The rooms were well equipped, clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast, included in the price, was excellent. If we are ever in this area again we will stay at this property for sure.
In less than 20 minutes, you can be in Munich. This is a very good hotel in a country setting. The facility and rooms are very nice, the staff are professional and friendly. Breakfast is very good, with a wide selection of food items. It could be a great alternative to staying in the city.
Very nice Hotel in the vincinity of Munic. Very modern and very large spa and recreation area. The best of the spa/recreation area is, that it is open till midnight!!! Absolut best value for Money Hotel if you like Sauna area! Rooms are absolutely OK, but not state of the art.
Although predominantly a business hotel, very good with very capacious car parks ( one at the entry and another across the road.) staff efficient and friendly, great breakfast buffet. My room was at the top with a pleasant bathroom and large walk in shower. Quiet and clean. Would come again. Some sort of outlet shops nearby specialising in clothing.
I guess I was for five or six time in the Best Western Hotel Erb in Parsdorf, and I can really recommend this place. Lots of parking places, really nice Hotelrooms, great breakfast - and big Wellness area.
OMGOSH! BEST BREAKFAST ever since we arrived in Europe. Waitresses were super kind, smiley and courteous. Very friendly and helpful. ROOM: Very clean, comfortable room perfectly set up for traveling families. We were very happy here and even thinking to stay another night because of their service and accommodation. If we ever going back to visit Munich, this hotel Erb is no.1 choice. Wonderful Happy Experience ??
This is a great hotel if yu have a car . It is bit ioslated in terms of location but nt an issue if yu drive. Huge free carpark. Very quiet and nice surrounding. It have an onsite resturant which serve a great buffeet breakfast ( chargable )
I've stayed at this hotel an numerous occasions when in the Munich area. The hotel has remained friendly with good service over the years, although the area around the hotel has certainly grown over the years. The hotel has plenty of free outdoor parking and located near to the motorway network, but not that close that it has the noise from the motorway. While it is a distance from Munich city centre there is a good bus and train link nearby with fairs (particularly the day ticket for groups) being of good value. Upon my most recent stay in November 2016 I did not eat at the hotel as from previous stays I found that nearby restaurants were better suited to what I prefer. In particular I would recommend the nearby La Cochiglia Italian restaurant which is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. I intend to continue to use this hotel when staying in the Munich area.
Nice roomy room clean and light. Nice common area. Great breakfast ! Close to metro and reach city center no problem. Staff gave good recommendations for local food The rooms were clean and was no problem I hope so come back again!
Pro: Rooms were clean and turndown service was offered daily. Breakfast was delicious too and we had a friendly staff. Con: Bed and room was somewhat small. It was literally meant for sleeping and dressing up in the morning.
I recommend this hotel - friendly service; big, clean and well equipped rooms. Tasty breakfast. Big and free parking. Very good looking lobby. Coffee machine in the room. Comfortable bed with choice of different pillows at no extra cost.
This is my preferred business hotel in the area. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the management clearly try very hard to improve /change small details which make a difference. The food is good but sometimes can be a bit over heavy on the Bavarian offering. One request - can you put another treadmill in the gym please as I can never use it as the place is so busy-this is good but I would like to use it when I stay at the hotel.
Stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. Seemed like mostly business people were staying here. Clean rooms, nice breakfast, good bar and restaurant. Very nice staff. The hotel is quiet. Not many American selections on the tv but that was mother a problem the free wifi was also good
Great and rich breakfast! Great Restaurant and bar,The service is wonderful and friendly, the girls in the reception are very professional, and I must mention the manager of the restaurant, mr rene prang, his attitude for the guests, and he was very helpful! Especially one evening that the restaurant was full booked, and we didn't have a place to eat , he personally took care of bringing a great dinner to our room, Best western you have a diamond!!
First of all, I would like to thank the ladies at the reception- you all made our stay unforgetable and awesome!!! Your support with all our stupid questions and irritating requests was well above professional :) It was a wonderful stay and we would come back for sure! Your details on how to reach Memmingem airport were perfect! Everything worked exactly according to how you planned it for us!!! And we catched the flight, even if it looked impossible :))))))))) By the way, "Oktoberfest" ginger bread greeting gift was very nice and tasty! To management: you should be proud having such staff ;) Andrius, Aleks, Domas & Mindaugas 2016.09.22-25
We felt right at home as soon as we checked in to this hotel - and we were welcomed by the friendly, helpful staff at the front desk. We were just staying for one night, but it was a special occasion, and we enjoyed every moment. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and our bathroom had an excellent walk-in shower, which we really appreciated. We had chosen to have dinner in the hotel, and we enjoyed dining in the garden where a barbecue was available. Breakfast the next morning was every bit as good, with an excellent buffet. The hotel has ample parking, and is just steps away from some excellent shopping. Don't miss the Segmuller store, or the Kafer delicatessen!
This was the second time that I stayed on this hotel. The first time was in July and even tough I didn't have any major issue, the room was very small (3rd floor). This second time they gave me a bigger room (2nd floor) but I had all kind of issues. First when I turned on the AC, a lot of water start to fall from the roof (pictures attached). The other issue was the bathroom, that was a nice size but water would go all over the place because there is no doors on the shower area (picture attached). Lastly, the smell on the room was terrible because the water that was dropping from the roof made the carpet really wet and stinky. Some friends complained about the hot temperature and the fact that the AC was not working in their rooms.
Found this through Hotels.com and was extremely impressed with a £65 deluxe room so close to Munich airport. Great service on reception and the food & drinks served in the restaurant ticked the boxes. Didn't have breakfast as I had an early start away from here. Would certainly recommend.
We have overnighted there with family while travelling down to Tuscany. The hotel is located very close to highway, so there is no need to get into Munich city and waste your time in traffic jams. We had a very spacious room named family room, which was very comfortable for 4 people. There is a restaurant with nice garden where you can have a decent food.
Very good hotel. My room is in very quiet part of hotel with bath. Window have blind for very gread darkness. Personal is smiling. At the entrance of the visitors were always small bites. It made me very happy and surprised. Oposite hotel is large parking area-it is free.
I stayed at this hotel two days years ago and I was satisfied: big and clean room, although in the middel of nowhere, and perhaps this explains the very good price; this time (June 2016) I booked for two days and left after one night: they gave me a microscopic room under the roof, with so low ceilings to easily hit the head; furthermore the main elevator went out of service, and using the other one meant to climb to the last floor on the stairs: malfunctions can happen, anyway nobody decided to inform personally the guests who simply found a sign on the elevator's doors - not the correct way to treat guests; breakfast is very expensive; so: the hotel is clean and not expensive, but 1. remember that without a car you can't reach it, and 2. avoid the rooms under the roof, they are just peanut galleries, make a phone call to the reception to be sure you are going to have a normal room;
Recently spent three nights on a business trip at this hotel. With a different room, I may have enjoyed it more. (See picture). Even though I had booked a non smoking king size room, I received a smoking room located on the bottom floor in a corner. As I arrived late in the day, I was too tired to change it after a long flight (so I'm somewhat at fault). The room was small, but did contain a TV, desk, two single beds together (to make a twin) and a small but adequate toilet and shower. Bathroom amenities were of lower quality. Service however was excellent - staff spoke excellent German and English. Everyone was very friendly. The restaurant staff was great as well - helpful and attentive. The morning breakfast buffet was good - with a huge selection to choose from. I ended up having dinner there twice as well - and enjoyed both meals. Free wifi worked well. Room service menu was limited to 2 or 3 items - didn't try it, but they did also offer to bring you the full restaurant menu if you desired. I'd probably stay again, but I'd be certain to make sure I had a different room.
Been staying for 5 nights in relation to participation on IFAT. Very spacious rooms, very quiet and a bathroom with good interior. Easy access from the highway, only 2 minutes. Breakfast buffet is very nice and contains more than you desire. Very friendly and helpful reception. Food in the restaurant is ok.
The room was very clean and the breakfast was lovely with a nice view to the garden. The staff were particularly nice at the check in and in the restaurant. The hotel has a nice spa facilities which we didn't use, but hope to the next time we stay. This is a convenient location for people arriving and departing from the international airport and who do not mind a 25 minute drive to the airport. Public transportation is available into the historic center of Munich.
Spent some nigths at the hitel and been satisfied so far. Breakfast is very good and I found what I like. Rooms are nice in what I would say a bavarian style. Sauna and relax is if you like this worth a visit. Nice after a day at work.
I stayed there whilst attending an exhibition and was very impressed with the service and facilities. The hotel is a 20 mins drive away from the exhibition centre, but arranges a free shuttle bus to and from. Even in the very comfortable rooms, a small exhibition survival pack greets you. Breakfast is one of the largest buffet type you will see, catering for all tastes and desires. Evening meals also are very tasty and good value, however if you dont want to eat in the hotel, a very good italian restaurant is close by ( very popular with locals). Offering a sports gym and good routes for the early morning run, they seem to have considered the needs of all travellers.
+ves: Room was clean, excellent, friendly staff at reception, good food in the restaurant, the staff picked me up from the station on Sunday (as there is no bus service on Sunday!) _ves: The room I was staying was 300 meters away (another building) from reception! You have to walk though dark places between two buildings which was scary for me! TV in my room was not working.
I'm used to stay at this hotel more or less every week since about one year and I can really say that the overall level of service is definetely high: the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is reach and high quality, the restaurant is very good , the staff kind and always available to support you. Moreover you can access for free to a gym and a small but very nice spa.
Visited the hotel this week for two nights for visit to a conference. Hotel was a mixture of good and bad. The good. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable, nice shower, air conditioning worked well. English speaking staff on reception. The bad. I arrived at 10pm. While the menu said the restaurant was open until 1030, when I tried to order I was told it was shut. Secondly (and more bizarrely) when I locked my passport in the room safe, it fell to pieces! While the staff managed to get my items out, I was asked to pay for the damage (although it was faulty!). After a discussion with the manager the next day it was all sorted out amicably and sense was seen.
I stayed here recently on a business trip for 3 nights and overall found the stay to be average. Not bad but not memorable either. The room and bed were on the smaller side but the hotel had a nice restaurant (which is a good thing because there are not many dining options within walking distance) and a nice fitness center. The service was very good and friendly with all of the staff speaking good English. The area around the hotel is mostly residential with some shopping nearby and within walking distance but other than that, there's nothing special about this area.
This Hotel has a very welcoming reception. Parking in front of the Hotel - although not very organized but still enough place. Inside it is very nice, rooms are quiet and comfortable and the Hotel has a bar, Sauna, Jaccuzi, Steambath area and a small but nice fitness room. So whatelse does one need ?
First of all very warm welcome, nice room with comfortable beds ( very important for a Hotel) Nice restaurant with great foods and Win ( I have asked for chili and get served what I was expecting) Huge buffet for breakfast Very friendly staffs at the front desk and restaurant and bar. Travelling around the world this hotel is a 4 Plus level
Although this hotel is a little further out than I would have liked, the hotel itself is lovely. The train is just a short shuttle away from the hotel and it is a quick ride to the heart of the city. The staff was very helpful and gave us lots of suggestions. There is a small Italian restaurant around the corner and a small grocery store within walking distance. The hotel is clean, bright, and everyone was very nice.
Stayed here for four nights for the start of Oktoberfest. Very nice room and spa facilites. Staff helpful if a little distant. But very comfortable. The hotel is advertised as being very convenient for travel into Munich by bus and s- Bahn train. It is definitely not. The nearest S-Bahn Station, Grub is quite a deserted place and although trains come every 20 minutes, it is about a 40 minute journey to the centre or to the airport. A bus will take you from Grub station to the hotel every 20 minutes and is a very short journey of about 5 minutes max but too long to walk. buses stop at 9pm so you will have to cal the hotel and ask them to pick you up. They do not like doing this late. so a journey from the hotel to the centre by bus/train can be anything from about 50 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes if you just miss bus/train and have to wait for next one. This was too long for us as we went into munich everyday. There is nothing to do in hotel area as it is on industrial centre besides one smal okish Italian restaurant. So if have a car or don't need to be in Munich all the time it is fine. If you don't have car and exect to be in Munich most of the time, forget it really.
This was such a nice hotel. Everything went smoothly, the staff was friendly, the rooms were nice, very quiet, up to date, and very clean. The bathroom was immaculate. Wifi was easy and fast to connect to. And breakfast was the best! It was a buffet with so much choice of everything. We had dinner there once and it was delicious! There's also a small spa and a gym, which were nice extras free of charge. I especially wanted to thank the staff. We don't speak German, but they were able to help us in fluent English. This was a busy trip for us, and in the midst of it all, we somehow managed to forget some documents in our room and only realized after we had checked out and were already hundreds of kilometers away. My husband e-mailed the hotel that same evening and they confirmed they had found our papers and that they would mail them to us. They were delivered at our home just a few days later. What a service! We will definitely stay there again.
We picked this hotel because it was close to where a friend lives. The price was very reasonable and the room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast (which is included) was fabulous! Anything and everything you could want. It is also a couple minutes walk from some outlet stores like Nike, Esprit, Puma and more. You can also catch a bus and train into Munich without too much difficulty
