Best Western Plus French Quarter Courtyard Hotel

The property was secure in a nice location. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is a hit or miss - but nice to have to start the day. It would be nice to have the coffee station closer or a sign indicating there is coffee. My first day I didn't think there was any. One suggestion the ice locations are horrible to locate. The beds are comfortable and I will stay here again.

I asked for room service, it never happened. The room smelled like humidity and lots of dust everywhere in the room. Had to unplug the fridge at night, very noisy. Bring some earplugs, cause the A/C is also very noisy. There was no hot water on the second day. Our room window was facing a wall, so no daylight whatsoever. No cellphone coverage most likely due to that wall, and unfortunately wifi did not work in this hotel section.

Very nice hotel at a reasonable rate for being within 7 blocks of the French Quarter. Courtyard is beautiful, and very relaxing to sit out there and just enjoy the great weather. Nice pool area. Private parking area at reasonable rate. Friendly staff. Great stay!!

The hotel was great! I loved how safe the hotel was, the parking was gated and the front door remind locked at all times. It was in walking distance to everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and thorough. I would highly recommend it for a leisure get away.

My family and I celebrated my birthday at Mardi Gras and our stay at the Best Western was excellent the location food and everything was just perfect. The staff was so friendly and professional let alone helpful they called and arranged a bus tour of the city for us and everything.

Loved the location. Across the street from Louis Armstrong Park and everything we wanted to see was easily walkable. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exactly what you would expect at a Best Western. Felt very safe as you have to use a room key to enter. We were away from the street and the courtyard so our room was extremely quiet. The only complaint I have is the one day out of a 4 night stay we asked for housekeeping it did not appear they changed the sheets and they did not restock the coffee, kleenex or toilet paper. We had to go to the front desk and ask for it. It seems they hastily made the bed and picked up the dirty towels we left on the floor, and that was it. I would stay here again as the cost was very reasonable and the location was great.

This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel. I love the location, the people, the rooms, the courtyard. I can't say enough nice things. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are always very helpful. And you need a key to get in so very safe.

Fairly standard Best Western hotel. Reasonable quality, comfortable rooms and near to the French Quarter. Ii, breakfast is at standard hotel fare. You know what you get here. We stayed three nights. Service was attentive. Nothing really to complain about.

When we arrived the front desk attendant yelled across the lobby for my last name. Another man came along to assist as well, who was much friendlier than the woman helping us. Later after dinner we returned to our room and discovered the Internet didn't work in our room, we were on the corner I guess maybe too far from the Wifi. Also, T-Mobile didn't have any service in the room (not really the hotel's fault, but insult to injury). Ok fine we'll just go to sleep, so went to wash my face but the water never got hot, I checked this in the morning too when I went to take a shower and it still wasn't hot. There is also a fair bit of noise with people tromping up and down the stairs. Overall, not a great experience for a place we paid $425 for (was during the Sugar bowl so prices were inflated).

Visited for the first time to celebrate my 50th birthday!! Everything was within walking distance and the room was clean and updated. Very secure as well. Free breakfast with lots of choices for eating and drinking. Great place!

The staff are friendly and nice. The hotel room was very tired and old, the cold water was not working in my room, also the flushing was not working all the time. Rooms need to be refurbished. The location is good

Breakfast was ample, the best music I've heard in ages, a piano, helpful housekeeping, refreshing pool, safe parking, mesmerizing atmosphere, easy to use cardkey, clean room with pullout sofa bed, and central air in room from this awful heat.

It was my birthday & they made it an experience I won't forget. I recommend everyone book their next trip here. The pool was extremely relaxing, parking was perfect, and my room was a dream. I've been to many locations but this was by far the greatest

Upon arrival, front desk staff was cheerful and very helpful with answering questions. Room was clean and AC blew cold!! In the morning the breakfast bar staff was always cleaning the space and replenishing food, welcoming and helpful. All staffers from maintenance, housekeeping to front desk were always hustling and ready to help.

The b'fast is great and varied. The employees at front desk are warm, welcoming, and very helpful. Rampart St is the outer fringes of the Quarter so prepare for a hike. Loved the covered parking. We parked upon our arrival and never used our car the entire time. Again, it's a bit of a walk to Bourbon and Canal to board the street cars but lots to see along the way as you walk. Court yard is beautiful. The cleanliness of bathroom floor and shower along perimeter and corners was disappointing. Also, the shower door track and its corners needed a good scrubbing—with a toothbrush to clean out the yuck. Everything else was good. That was my sole complaint.

My granddaughter (13) and I decided on a train trip to New Orleans. We stayed at this Best Western for 3 nights. In an excellent neighborhood and close enough for us to have several pleasant walks. Park is across the street. Just about 3 blocks from Bourbon street, without the noise. She loved it. Make sure to note: the bar is stocked, but there is no full time bartender, so you need to go to the office for a drink. We didn't care, but some guests did. The coffee is free and they have a great latte, etc machine, my granddaughter used frequently. However, it was down a few times. Our room was a standard double, the shower was great, and no tub to stand it. Plenty of good towels, comfortable bed and clean! We were lucky to have an outside window on the outer side. The neighborhood behind us was quiet and we slept great. Parking isn't free-$22 a day, with small spaces, but almost all were covered. The breakfast was good, two waffle makers, so very little waiting. I definitely would recommend this hotel, and would stay here again.

The hotel corporate needs to invest on more on the rooms itself like the beds. All the staff are very loving and caring people. Your check in and check out will be very smooth and you'll feel welcome.

I had a very nice 4 night stay at this hotel. The staff was very courteous/helpful. The room was very spacious and clean and included a good size refrigerator. The hotel was close enough to Bourbon Street and other French Quarter sites. I will definitely stay here when I visit New Orleans in the future.

This was a great family friendly hotel. Once car was parked, I did not have to do any driving to enjoy the area. Pool was great to come back to after a day of being out looking at the sites and enjoying the food. Breakfast was incredible to get the day started. Beds were comfy and everyone was able to be well rested.

The security was amazing! We were first-time visitors to New Orleans, and felt a little uneasy about staying in the French Quarter, but we felt safe the whole time. The room and bathroom are somewhat small, but the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent - especially the biscuits and gravy! It was great being in the French Quarter, a short walk from many interesting things to see.

Great hospitality from front desk, to house keeping and breakfast staff! Hotel is clean and comfortable. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was fine and different selections daily. Close to Bourbon Street and all French Quarter activities, safe to walk. Hotel is locked down and in a quieter area.

Nice hotel in the French Quarter. Close to Louis Armstrong Park and walking distance to lots of shopping and restaurants. Great courtyard with pool. Nice room and great staff. Normal hot hotel breakfast.

This place is darling. Eating breakfast in the courtyard each morning was magical. They hold nothing back on the breakfast here! The spread is spectacular! The location was perfect for walking nearly everywhere. We walked to a bike tours, and all around the french quarter. We caught the street cars to other destinations such as the WW2 museum and City Park. The only downside are the pillows on the beds. Think about bringing your own pillow from home if you want an optimal night rest.

We had a 1 night free stay certificate with any Best Western and used it to extend our stay in New Orleans by a night. The hotel was clean and the front desk was especially helpful. The breakfast was great! We had a courtyard facing room on the second floor. The only thing we didn't care for was the darkness of the room decor and lighting. It made the room seem dreary. We would stay there again.

This hotel is in a great location, only 2 streets off Bourbon. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, and you couldn't ask for a better breakfast, they had anything you could want. All the staff I interacted with were extremely helpful and kind. I will be staying at this hotel next time I visit New Orleans.

Had an amazing stay here. Made our first visit to New Orleans absolutely memorable. Will definitely be choosing this hotel again on future trips back to the French Quarter. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the area and very willing to help with any questions we had!

Better than the Hilton Riverwalk stayed prior to cruise in many ways. Gave military discount to veteran, a couple bucks good deal. The room was fine beds were high. The A/C unit only directed air by the window. The door was lacking insulation around the frame, looked ratty. Elevator super small and slow, smelled like burnt oil. Free breakfast was a good attempt, but scrambled eggs weren't the best and the gray gravy was just that. Tasty sausage though. Fruit bowl tasted OK but I think it was maybe from the day before. Just my opinion. The staff at the counter were friendly. Relatively close to Bourbon Street if you're able. I am post foot surgery and walking was hard. The CITY sidewalks are TERRIBLE. I also recommend the quaint quick mart just around the corner. I got some cheap liquor for the night in the room and they also have a kitchen that sold me some good gumbo.

Close location to the French Quarter (10 minute walk to Jackson Square), kind staff, tidy rooms, and a lovely courtyard. On-site, secure parking was a plus. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

Can't beat quality and location. People running the best Westin with a friend these people I met in New Orleans, Jim, and Irene . Safe walk to Bourbon Street and rest of the resort amenities in New Orleans.

The staff is wonderful. The hotel is in a great location. if you drive know that there is a $19 charge per day for parking. The included breakfast buffet was good I wish they would've had more variety.

Beautiful property ideally located on the edge of the French Quarter. The location is great: it's within easy walking distance of the major Vieux Carré sites (Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, the French Market) as well as Louis Armstrong Park and St. Louis Cemetery #1. You definitely do not need a car if you stay here. At the same time, it's far enough removed from the heart of things to be quiet and restful. The staff was helpful, friendly, and efficient, the courtyard/pool area was beautiful, and the included breakfast buffet was much better than you would expect for a mid-price hotel. On the other hand, our room was small and dark, and unfortunately had a window onto a narrow outside corridor rather than overlooking the lovely courtyard and pool area. It was also not what I would call spotlessly clean. I would definitely stay there again, but I would specifically request a room with a courtyard view.

The room was nice, but the windows looked out on an alleyway and a wall. Why even put windows there? I heard the elevator all night long and the train woke me up at 5 am. The shower spout was one of those that try to conserve water but end up using more water because you have to stand right under it to get wet. The water temperature kept fluctuating even though I didn't touch the control. I haven't looked at the courtyard yet. The service was good; the desk staff was friendly. 2.5 to 3

Easy to get to,reasonable rates, clean and comfortable a literally on the northern edge of the French quarter so quite at night yet a 10 minutes walk to bourbon street and the very center of the best part of the French quarter. We were there for 5 days and did not rent a car nor did we ever feel a need to have one. We enjoyed walking to breakfast and the. We discovered tha the hotel included one of the most complete and amazing breakfast buffets you can imagine. And while it is all self serve a family with kids will easily eliminate the entire need to spend any money on breakfast regardless of how choosy the family member. It was just the two so part of the adventure was searching out a favorite breakfast spot with patio dining. And I can attest to our favorite was a little spot called “Toast” check my review on that one too. I regress, had I known he complete the hotel buffet was I would have indulged at least one other time instead of going out. I have to say, the buffet is not a featured benefit at least neither my wife nor I even suspected they served anything in the hotel as the dining room is not in the path to the rooms and the staff did not make a point to point it out when we checked in. In mentioning the staff I will say they were very polite and friendly and we enjoyed our stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting great value without compromising on comfort and amenities.

I had an awesome stay at this hotel! The room was exceptionally clean, the staff was professional and friendly and the included breakfast was great. Only three blocks from Bourbon street. One night the fire alarm went off and you could smell smoke. I had trouble going back to sleep and the next day the manager approved a credit for that night of my stay. Excellent service appreciated!

The hotel is excellent located. You can walk and take public transportation to any site in the city you need to, to do tourism. The breakfast Excellent, the rata with price excellent, but we did find regular room cleaning, although we ask during our stay to improve it, it didn't went well this part.

For the price I expected a better room, but the property is beautiful and the staff is outstanding, friendly and eager to provide comfort. It's an older building but beautiful, . But what made my experience was the staff and their southern hospitality.

The Best Western Plus is very clean and within walking distance to the French Quarter and beyond. You probably want to walk anyway because most times I think you would be quicker than the cars! Obviously need to take a taxi or Uber to Airport or further distances though. This hotel was very clean, wi-fi was good, bed was comfy, breakfast was phenomenal and had everything you could want, staff were very friendly and helpful. All and all, would definitely stay there again.

The hotel itself was very nice, old building, well kept, nice courtyard where to unwind. Unfortunately the room was dirty! There was thick dust on most surfaces, especially the bed frames, the lamps and the a/c unit! The floor was sticky and clearly had not been mopped in a while! (ask my white socks).

Beautiful old courtyard hotel run by BW Plus. A hidden gem on the edge of the historic French Quarter in New Orleans. Our third floor room had wonderful views of the historic neighborhood with downtown skyscrapers in the background. Highly recommended!

We are really pleased with this hotel. Clean room and grounds, great price, wonderful staff and an excellent breakfast. The original building is a 150 year old French school for girls. I would love if they highlighted the history of the original building more. Troy with maintenance is really a gem.

Our first visit to New Orleans. We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Courtyard in the French Quarter. When we return we will definitely stay at this location every time. The staff are great! Friendly and professional. The breakfast has a great variety and is very good. The king room was clean and nice and the bed was comfortable. The courtyard is beautiful. And can't beat the location. Close walking distance to everything we wanted to see.

Front desk staff were nice and welcoming. Room was clean but stuffy. The towels and bed were nicely done. Breakfast was great and the staff helpful and attentive. Did not like having the smoking area right in the courtyard. The smell wafted up to the balconies.

Perfect spot to stay. We were in walking distance to museums, restaurants, Bourbon street, cafes. We had a room overlooking the courtyard and pool. Comfy beds, good breakfast choices. Highly recommended.

This hotel was great! Everyone at the front desk were welcoming and friendly. The rooms were very clean and spacious and walking distance to the French quarter which was perfect. Check out is at 12pm which gave us more time to sleep in and get our things together. I would definitely recommend for your New Orleans trip.

We wanted to stay as close to the French Quarter as we could without breaking the bank. We were very pleased with this hotel and it's location. It was a 10-12 minute walk to Jackson Square. It had the character and charm of an older hotel with brick on the inside walls in the breakfast area and lobby. The elevator made us laugh. It is very small. We had a room facing the courtyard, which I would recommend requesting. The mattresses seemed very new and were extremely comfortable. The pillows were really nice too. No complaints from us. We all slept great. We did have a few complaints about the shower. A broken wheel on the sliding shower door, which made it had to move and a bit of mold on one small section of the shower wall, which we reported to staff. The shower heads did not have an adjustable spray, which would be a big improvement. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good and had different hot items every day along with cereal, muffins, toast and waffles you could make yourself. They do not have any vending machines for drinks or snacks, but they do have some items for sale at the check in desk. I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for the night in a quieter part of town. Walked through quaint, residential area to get to an upbeat, jazzy part of New Orleans. Absolutely loved the location. Even at night, it felt safe. The hotel was clean which is always a must for when I travel. Will definitely go back and make time to stay longer. Loved being off the beaten path of bourbon street.

Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly! Breakfast is a hot buffet style breakfast w/tons of items! Nice courtyard with outdoor pool. Within walking distance to Bourbon (5 min walk) and Jackson Square (7 min walk). Directly across from Armstrong Park. I would recommend asking for a room that faces the courtyard or pool area. Otherwise you are facing the outside area of either parking, or houses being worked on. They do have a luggage holding area if you need to check out prior to leaving for the airport! Beds were comfortable!

This is a return trip for us to this hotel. The staff are kind and efficient and the atmosphere is wonderful. It's a perfect home base for the French Quarter, Congo Square, Louis Armstrong Park, Treme, Bywater and more. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast is far better than any other free hotel spread we've had.

Do not trust the room photos you see online. This is a run down, dark and dingy hotel. It is supposed to be a Best Western Plus hotel, but it does not seem as nice as others I have stayed at without the "plus." Rooms are small and very dark. The location is not really the French Quarter and it does not feel very safe there. There is one small window in the room and very little light can come through from the covered walkway. This is more of a motel than a hotel.

I looked at so many hotels when planning our trip. I am glad I chose this one. The location was great, easy to walk to Jackson Square, Bourbon St, etc. It wasn't too loud at night. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. Parking is tight, with limited availability but I knew that when booking because it was clearly stated in the description and amenities. However, the cost to park your car there at night was much cheaper than other hotels I viewed. The breakfast was really good! I've had breakfast at hotels that was just toast and yogurt. Every morning you could expect eggs, waffles, meat, cereals, fruit and more.

Someone tried to come in our room after we had checked in and locked our door. They had a key that unlocked our door. This is while we were changing so thank God for the chain lock. The room smelled musty. We left to go to our planned event but I never felt comfortable. When we returned our key did not work and when we went down to report this he had us sit and wait while he was on the phone. After our 20-30 minute wait he looked into our issue to say it looks like we had been marked as a room change. We never changed rooms so he gave us a new key to use and sent us on our way. The safe beeped all night saying "open" but we had never opened and we were unable to get it stop no matter what so finally we just got out stuff and left. Would not stay again. I never felt safe and I was not able to sleep. Pretty courtyard

This was a good mid-range hotel. Close enough to French Q stuff for walking, but not on a noisy street. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Best feature was the courtyard for sitting and relaxing when the weather was nice. We spent a lot of time out there once we finished our French Q touring. There was a bar for those so inclined and a decent included breakfast buffet. Staff was also very nice. The pool appeared well cared for, but we did not swim. (Water was a little chilly already in mid-Oct)

This was our second time staying at this hotel and once again, not disappointing. The location is amazing, short walking distance to everything, 5 minutes from Bourbon Street, right in front of Louis Armstrong Park, central but quite and peaceful with a beautiful courtyard you can relax in. Rooms are dated but comfortable, big enough and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful, Breakfast is good and there's also a small business center and a gym. Great value for money. Will definitely be back❤️

Perfect location just a few blocks to Bourbon Street without the noise. Staff very friendly at check in and they give you map and circle all main attractions in French Quarter and Bourbon Street. Reception area has lots of tourist pamphlets to help you arrange tours. Breakfast has nice variety. Pool area and hotel main area well maintained. Rooms are decent size but are showing age.

Every staff person, from food to desk to maintenance, was friendly and helpful. Two men was especially good to us, Ray, the night manager and Todd a mechanic who wasn't even on the clock and dropped everything to help out.

The rooms were clean and comfortable! I like hot water so the water could have been a little hotter. Breakfast was great, their was a variety to choose from. Darlene at the front desk was AWESOME! Thanks for making my stay wonderful!

What a wonderful find! This place is a gem. You won't be disappointed. The breakfast is terrific. The courtyard is charming. The staff are all warm and welcoming. The pool was crystal clear. The location can't be beat for the French Quarter. It is close to what you want to see, and far enough from Bourbon Street to be peaceful.

Great hotel on the edge of the French Quarter. 5 minutes walk to Bourbon Street. Staff were great, rooms were clean and functional and the pool area was a lovely added bonus. Superb value for money, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

The only thing that was a little eh was the narrow parking spots in the garage, but given the location and volume I don't know that there is a whole lot that can be done with that. The staff was fantastic, the breakfast was great. The character and historic value of the building itself was intriguing. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone. I was very happy.

This is a really nice hotel. It is in a great location, safe to walk to walk any where in this area and short distance to Bourbon Street. The hotel is very clean and maintained very well. The pool and garden are beautiful. The breakfast is very good and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. We will certainly stay at this hotel again.

Located right in the heart of New Orleans within walking distance to many tourist sites and restaurants. The breakfast was amazing! The staff members were polite, hospitable and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed our visit. Pleasant, helpful staff, comfortable bed, clean room, good a/c, great breakfast. Great place to stay to see French Quarter. While we were there, no streetcar was running nearby however, so it was a 20 minute walk or so to get to Canal street thru the French Quarter. There a few things not working when we checked in, but once we told the front desk. It was remedied. Quick service. Can't wait to return.

The room had a mildew odor and spores. I was too tired to change rooms and just took antihistamines and slept in my N95 mask. I anticipated the noise as our room had windows onto the streets of the French Quarter. So glad I took earplugs.

Firstly, I understand that the buildings in the French Quarter are older and we didn't expect flashy or shiny new hotel. But we didn't expect dingy and depressing. Checking in was fine and the attached car park was good. However, the rooms were dreadful, very poorly lit. Our window view was of a dark corridor, which felt unsafe. The bathroom was awful, floor was unclean and had lots of hair on there. the coffee machine was next to the toilet, in the same room. We moved that straightaway, but what were they thinking? Shut the toilet door before sitting on the throne, you won't be able to shut it otherwise, as theres no room. Honestly, you will spend as little time as possible in the room, because it is really depressing in there. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet, food was ok, but you only get paper plates and plastic cutlery, come on, that is pathetic. Staff were ok, they didn't go above and beyond, but they were ok. The bar was being decorated during the day, which made the place look awful. I would never stay here again.

I met my husband 30 years ago by the flaming fountain at Pat O'Briens in New Orleans. We've loved NOLA ever since and return at least annually to enjoy the music, food and ambience that is the Big Easy. This trip was a little last minute and we needed a hotel that was reasonably priced and in a safe walkable location to all our favorite restaurants (and bars.) Boy, did we luck out with this hotel! First, location, location, location is even more important when you are navigating the streets in the August heat. It was the perfect launching point to head over to the Jazz Museum for the Satchmo festival, Frenchman street for more music and to return to the scene where we met at Pat O's. Second, our room had been renovated and the beds are so comfortable! We slept so well our entire trip because this hotel chose to prioritize good quality bedding. Third, the breakfast is absolutely amazing. Forget that classic, same old boring breakfast you might find at a chain hotel. They served something a little different every morning for our 5 day visit; fleur de lis waffles, bacon, sausage, sweet potatoes, cajun rice, fresh fruit, bagels, homemade blueberry bread AND some of the best grits! Every interaction with staff was so helpful and pleasant and they even had a pool and a beautiful NOLA style courtyard! We absolutely loved this hotel and highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed!

You will never have to pay for breakfast. It's not just rolls and juice either. I mean they set it out. You never know what your gonna get, but it will always be plenty. Nice clean rooms. I stayed here twice in 2022. The first 2/12/22 to 2/16/22 & 8/3/22 to 8/8/22. Loved them both got to do/see more things. Anyway this hotel is in walking distance of everything. Great staff very friendly too. Oh and the bar is open. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting NOLA. This is in a quiet part of the FQ but near the excitement.

This is a great place to stay. The Staff was very caring and friendly. we loved the breakfast and enjoyed all of our interaction with the everyone that worked there. We felt so very lucky to have found this gold in New Orleans

Nice cozy room - nice pool -- Breakfast was amazing, so many options of food -- 3 blocks from Bourbon street. Parking here is $40 (we stayed one night) I thought that was crazy for a parking garage that is so tight you can barely get out of your vehicle and expect to get door dinged by others. Seriously, the parking is bad!!

We were very nervous about visiting New Orleans. I found this hotel which was close to the highway so we didn't have to drive much in the city. It was easy to locate. The parking lot is very tight and since we had a larger car was a bit difficult to park. They said that parking isn't guaranteed so I wouldn't arrive late or leave and return late at night. The parking lot felt very safe and is locked later in the evening. We were able to check in early and the front desk people were very friendly and helpful. The location is only a short ten minute walk to the french quarter. We walked back and forth numerous times. We also walked to the Charles Street Streetcar and utilized that to see other parts of New Orleans. The room was small but very nice and clean. The breakfast was great - plenty of room and a great variety. We didn't use the pool but it looked very nice. We were very nervous about visiting but we had a wonderful experience in New Orleans thanks to this hotel.

If your in a wheelchair or walker I don't recommend staying here. We let them know my husband is in a wheelchair and they said could accommodate so we booked it. Got to New Orleans and had a horrible experience hallways to narrow, elevator, room and breakfast are not at all setup for someone in our situation. Couldn't go to another hotel they were booked.

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights. The staff are friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in (quite a bit) early because the room was already ready. The location is perfect: very near the French Quarter but quiet and with plenty of public transportation nearby. The breakfast spread was very impressive, with hot dishes and freshly made waffles! Free coffee, tea, and drinking water were provided all day. The courtyard is lovely and it's so great to have a decent size swimming pool. Even though the finishes are a little dated, our room was clean and the beds comfortable. ( I saw some renovation being done in one of the rooms we walked by...maybe they are gradually updating the rooms?) We had been debating whether to choose this hotel or a different one closer to Bourbon St., and I am so glad we decided on this one!

I loved the hotel and the location. The pool area was georgous and super relaxing.The hotel was not the most clean which was disappointing and the breakfast was not overly great. The staff was friendly enough.

Walkable to Louis Armstrong Park, Frenchman Street, and Bourbon Street. Great location! Clean hotel! Helpful staff! Decent value! Would stay here again. We recommend the City hop on hop off bus tour. Very informative and fun!

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Friendly staff, very clean, easy walking access to the French Quarter. Safe. Great breakfast. The staff was willing to help set up tours, gave suggestions of places to visit and easiest transportation. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking was reasonable and safe. I will come back to this hotel. Thank you to the staff. They made the difference.

I would like to say the Manager David and his crew Raynard and Henry was awesome. I felt I was at home. They made sure we was safe and protected as young women. The lady whom cooks in the kitchen was professional and the food was great. They made our trip to New Orleans everything. They told us great places to eat and go. The recommended great tours. I would tell anyone come to a hotel run by David it makes a difference. Awesome time!

Have been staying at this hotel 4 to 5 times a year, since our daughter moved to NOLA in 2012 to teach high school Biology. We love this hotel for the Staff, proximity to French Quarter, available parking, its amenities, like pool pool and breakfast, and cleanliness!!

Awesome and so relaxing. Staff was so helpful and nice. Everything was in walking distance from hotel . Be sure to try the different sites and the bourbon street experience. People are friendly and helpful.

Stayed three days. Had an Amazing stay. Breakfast every morning was great! Staff was always very friendly and helpful! Location is in walking distance of Bourbon Street and several other great areas. Will definitely stay here again if I return to New Orleans.

The hotel has VERY limited parking. If you get a spot stay in it. The parking is expensive. $24 a night to be told If you move your car and lose your spot they have to refund you. The hotel is okay. They could use some updating. I wouldn't stay here again, even though it was neat. It's a cool thought to stay in the french quarter, but definitely not necessary.

We were very happy with our stay here. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice each morning. The location was great and we felt very safe at the hotel. We had family staying at an Inn a few streets away, which was nice, but we were happier with our hotel especially because of the provided coffee and breakfast. The pool was nice as well even though we didn't have a chance to swim.

Excellent launchpad for French Quarter, Treme and other great neighborhoods. Our air conditioned room was a quick haven between outings. It was convenient to leave our car parked at the hotel while walking and using public transit. The staff were kind and helpful. We loved this place and will return!

The Room itself was clean however the tv signal was so bad we couldn't watch TV. The breakfast however was delicious and had a good variety for a hotel breakfast. The area around the pool is gorgeous, the garage however was packed and we was barely able to fit into a parking spot.

This hotel was chosen for its New Orleans charm. It is directly across from Louis Armstrong park. We had a room facing the courtyard. It was clean and comfortable and I slept so well the whole week. It is on the edge of Bourbon St but a comfortable walk to everything. The breakfast was delicious every day. I loved swimming after walking miles everyday. The front desk was an absolute delight. Wendell was so much fun to talk to, and you could tell he loves this city and recommending activities to the tourists. We fell in love with NOLA and are already planning our return trip.

I travel more often than not for work, and Best Western Plus is my favorite hotel for these reasons: 1) complimentary breakfast at ALL of them, 2) hospitality is always top notch regardless of when you arrive, and 3) clean rooms with good showers and comfortable beds. My local Best Western Plus in New Orleans was no exception, and is located in a historically significant and beautiful area, with its own courtyard that makes you feel like you are definitely in our city.

Considering this hotel is on the edge of the French Quarter, it is a good deal compared to other hotels in the area. Location is amazing if you're wanting to do all of the touristy things - across the road from Louis Armstrong park and a short walk from Bourbon Street, Canal Street, and Jackson Square. Room was nice and clean, beds were kind of small however. Walk in shower looks nice, but water pressure not the best. Courtyard looks very beautiful with the pool and a fountain in the centre. Breakfast options were probably the best we have had on our roadtrip so far, however waffle machines and half of the toaster slots were not working. I plan on coming to NOLA again in the future, and would definitely consider this hotel for it's location, good price, and comfort.

This is our third time staying at this Best Western Plus. The hotel is walking distance to the French Quarter, but not so deep in it as to be surrounded by drunken tourists. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful, and we were able to enjoy the pool this time in the lovely courtyard.If your room is on the street side, you may have a view of Louis Armstrong Park, but you might also be awakened by the garbage truck that comes at 4:30 a.m. If that is more than a minor inconvenience to you, be sure to ask for a quiet room.We love this hotel, and will be back!

The BW French Quarter Courtyard is within walking distance of almost all New Orleans tourist destinations and across the street from the Louis Armstrong Park, where weekly music and art events are held on Thursday evenings during the summer. A short walk later and you will arrive at Jackson Square, the French Market or Frenchman's Street and the famous streetcars that will take you everywhere you wish to go. The hotel is inexpensive, safe, comfortable and an excellent value if you are staying for an extended stay. We visit New Orleans several times a year and this is our favorite hotel.

This is dumpy. They don't turn the filter on in the pool so water is cloudy all the time. There's no one working at the bar since Covid. We left after one night and went to Royal Sonesta which is much nicer pool, rooms and lobby Xxxxxxccccccxxxxxxc

Location is convenient with Bourbon St. + Canal St. just a short walk away but very quiet compared to hotels on the main streets. The Louis Armstrong park is a must when you visit NOLA and is located right across the street! Super clean + well kept property and room. You'll never want to leave the beautiful courtyard and pool! Staff- the staff was warm, welcoming, attentive and informative. They made it feel like home. We had the king size bed room- it was small but very clean and comfortable! A hot break is served everyday- it was delicious and always kept fresh. I mean, I really had no complaints! I cannot wait to return and stay with this hotel again!!

I checked in around 7:30 pm went to the room and the room was filthy as if someone just walked out just as I arrived to the room. Beds unmade, trash in trash can, towels on the floor of the shower, toothpaste planted in the mirror, television on. We to the front and given a second room. The second room was worse than the first room. Not clean, trash in trash cans, beds unmade, wet towels on the floor of the bathroom. Hair in the sink. Just an awful situation. Back to the front, Moved to a different room the front desk clerk went to inspect the room and then came back to give me another. Other hotels in the area were booked. I told to speak with the a.m. Manager. The next morning I go to the front desk to speak with management. I was explaining what happened over night and the lady stated, "What you want me to do?" I was shocked so I just stood in silence and she stated the same thing. "What you want me to do?"To my surprise. What such a "NASTY ATTITUDE" the a.m. front desk lady had. I just walked away because nothing else needed to be said!. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH BEST WESTERN HOTELS, EVER!

The location and the staff here will keep me coming back to New Orleans again and again. Walking distance from Bourbon Street and tons of bars and restaurants and sites to see. But the staff is the real gem. Front desk is quick with suggestions and recommendations for what to do and see and will help book tours if needed. It was so nice to be greeted whenever I was coming in or going out. And the breakfast every morning was wonderful!!! Large variety and they never ran out of anything (even for late sleepers like me). Stay here next time you are in New Orleans. It's like staying with Family, but better!

We had an incredible stay here, all 15 rooms! One can tell this is a well-managed hotel. The Reception Staff is friendly and efficient. The breakfast is well above the BW norm and so appreciated. The breakfast staff so pleasant and accommodating. They put out coffee and hot water all day and night, unexpected and so welcome. Microwave and water cooler are accessible day and night. Then there is the courtyard and pool area…the highlight of this hotel! One really feels the Nawlins vibe here. We spent many an evening sitting in the courtyard before heading out for dinner. It was so lovely and our group had a chance to meet other travelers. Nothing short of amazing. The cleaning staff does a good job. The bathrooms are updated and the one in our room (230) was spotless. Water temperature and pressure was good. The beds are comfortable. Rooms are not huge, but standard and adequate in size. Each room has a decent size mini-fridge, and they all worked! The carpet leaves a bit to be desired, but I understand that will be changed in the near future. Luggage carts are available to get to your room. Every detail has been thought of to make one's stay convenient. We loved the location as it was close enough, and far away enough, from Bourbon Street. We never felt unsafe in this area (really no where in the French Quarter did we feel unsafe), but this is a quiet area and that was a huge plus for us. It is hard to make 30 people happy, but this hotel did it. We will definitely be back, both as a group and as individuals. Kudos to the management and all the staff!

Excellent location to avoid noise of bourbon street but within short walk to everything. The hotel was very secure requiring key for entrance at all times. Very attentive and accommodating staff who were always smiling. Good value!

Our stay was for 4 nights. The room safe would not open and the bathroom plugs were not working. After a new battery in the safe and a breaker reset it was good. The shower rod was loose and the shower curtain would not close and stay closed. After two nights we inquired about room service, and were told they clean the rooms every three days and our room would be cleaned the next day, Did not happen and after asking about it was told you have to put your name on a list to get your room cleaned, AND we were told that upon checking in we were told that. That did not happen. So for four days of trash and dirty towels our stay was over. Also the bar was not open and was also told that we were informed about the bar. That didnt happen either. Anyway the room was ok for being the price it was in the location it was, but if you want good service and things to work properly go somewhere else and spend a little more money.

The staff was great from the moment we entered the Hotel. We went to the room and the bed was just fantastic, we had two of the best nights sleep we have had in a long time. Breakfast was good, and the Courtyard was peaceful.

Stayed here for 4 nights. No housekeeping until the 3rd night. Room was damp and dark. Air Conditioner was loud and didn't take the moisture out of the room. Sheets did not fit the bed. Flat queen on bottom, queen on top of King bed. Blanket was a double. Room was small which didn't bother us. But it was quite dark. No sunlight due to wall outside of room's only window. But the walls were painted a dark tan and the lamp shades were a dark color. There wasn't enough light to even read. The remote worked but was so tacking we didn't want to touch it. Place was fine for a short stay, but at a price of $332 for two of the nights, I think we should have had a nicer, bigger, brighter, less damp room!

I felt very safe during my stay. The parking area was very well lit with a gate that was locked at 10 pm. I had to take a friend to the airport at 3 am and the attendant was very prompt when asked to open the gate.

This hotel is HORRIBLE. Could be beautiful, but cleaning and management staff apparently doesn't do their job. STAY AWAY from this location, as all surfaces, floors and furniture is filthy and soiled.

This hotel benefits from its location which is in the heart of the French quarter and a short walk from Canal Street and Borboun Street. We thought that the hotel certainly had character that was similar to fitting in with the theme of the French quarter - the building was historic, a nice courtyard and pool and “oldy worldly” type furnishings. The breakfast was good. Downside was we were not impressed at all with our room. It was large with windows that opened out onto a corridor so you could just see a wall and it was very dark. You had to keep curtains shut as everyone would see in your room otherwise. We asked to move room but it wasn't an option even considered. Also because it is an old building the windows and walls are thin and the maids shout and everything guests say can be heard in your room. This didn't bother us much but we noticed it as normally hotel rooms are very quiet and well insulated. If you don't sleep well with noise I would give this a wide berth with the air con unit and noise from guests/staff. The air con in the room was a very old unit that was the noisiest thing from the 1960s that really impacted on sleep. The bed was nice and comfy, room clean but the television went off due to a storm and stayed off for two days despite them saying it was being repaired. The reception staff were not very friendly and raising anything as an issue was met with no apology or appreciation that this was a holiday…. A little friendlier, going a little extra to make guest happy would go a long way. As much as we enjoyed the stay due to location I don't think we would return as the room was very depressing and miserable.

Rooms are clean. The free breakfast was great. Lots of choices. Wendell the front desk clerk was an absolute joy and very Knowledgeable. Would love him working front desk at the Best Western where I work. Make sure you keep this young man. Thank you Wendell

This was the perfect hotel for our first time in NOLA. We wanted to have a different experience with this trip and this hotel was definitely one of the highlights. We were greeted by friendly staff all the time during our stay. Our room was spacious and super clean. The bed was easiest one the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. The location is perfect for walking distance towards French Quarter and Bourbon Street. The breakfast was amazing and included on the price. The only thing that I would mention is that something we would hear people walking. The atmosphere at this hotel was magical! Everything seemed so old, but beautiful. It was really romantic for us.

If you stay there and have a car, Beware: : parking lot may not have room for your car, and if you do park in their lot it is about $ 20 a day. Location is good, close to French Quarter, rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Clean. Comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Can't really call it quiet as it is an old building so there's some creaks and moans that come with it. The people there were very nice, Darlene, Ty and women that set up breakfast, were super helpful and friendly. The hotel was very dark in the rooms, shower door kept coming off track and water pressure was horrible. The elevator was very small.

Hotel was clean, with friendly staff. Only a few blocks walk from the east-west center of Bourbon Street. Vey quiet neighborhood with a nice park across the street. The parking area we used was under the main floor of the hotel. Plenty of room to park if you are driving a smaller vehicle, it is understandably tight quarters due to the area and the tight quarters of the historical area. It was a little higher than what I usually pay for a room, but we were in town for St. Patrick's Day and considered that as part of the price for having fun in NOLA.

We drove to New Orleans and picked this hotel as it was one of few in the Quarter with guest parking. The spaces are very tight but we made it work and appreciated that we had a secure place to leave our car while exploring the city on foot and Uber. This hotel is an easy walking distance to our favorite places in the quarter, and it's easy to grab an Uber to other neighborhoods. Our room was clean and comfortable, especially considering the age of the building. All staff that we interacted with were wonderful! We plan on staying at this hotel again during our next NOLA trip. Room was a little small but overall a good stay. The courtyard was absolutely beautiful! The walk was great from the hotel to the French Quarter and surrounding areas. Bed was kinda soft but some like it like that. Excellent stay overall!

The location is a pretty good selling point but be mindful that it's 20 min from the airport. When I went the uber to and from the airport to the hotel was 41 dollars both times during early afternoon (3:30 pm and 2pm respectfully). It's right across the street from Louis Armstrong Park, about 3 blocks from bourbon street and like a 15 min walk to Jackson Square. This means that the streets around it aren't swarming with people late at night so the neighborhood gets pretty quiet. However, that can be a bad thing if you're out late at night walking from the clubs. The neighborhood itself isn't unsafe but since the streets don't have a lot of foot traffic you can feel a bit uneasy especially since there arent many street lights. The rooms weren't that bad. You don't have a refrigerator to store food though. The wifi works well but sometimes was a bit spotty, and the fact that they had an included continental breakfast with eggs, potatoes, grits, sausages, fruits, oatmeal, etc helped.

Dirty/dusty room, holes in curtains, chairs so dirty had to lay towels to sit on them. Sheets smelled like urine, comforter thin. Hair dryer didn't work. Staff allowed someone other than my self to check in.

Our room had no heat on a 36 degree night. There were no warm covers either. The room was old and smelled like old smoke. Very outdated. It was also very loud and the bed was like a rock. Room was also very small. The parking it terrible. Could barely get out of my car. The staff is AMAZING though. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good. Those were the only two things I enjoyed about my stay.

Overall the hotel is OK. The Hotel elevator is quite small. It is some ways from bourbon street. But not too far. The rooms are also quite small. But are Manageable. I am in a wheelchair .The staff was nice and kind

This hotel is in a great location. Despite being very close to the center of the French Quarter, our hotel room was surprisingly quiet at night (faced back of the hotel). The room was a bit cramped and looked a bit dated but it was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was roomy and there was a good selection of breakfast items. The parking is tight. If you don't have to drive, I would suggest an Uber from the airport.

The staff was friendly and provided excellent service and recommendations for food and entertainment. Really cute courtyard and pool area. Perfect location. Close enough to enjoy all the great food ,music and bourbon street, but far enough away not to be bothered by the loud party. Both of our walking tours left from the park across the street which was great! Short walk to the Mississippi River, Jackson Square and Cafe de Monde. Loved it!!

all the staff here is great, literally everyone is nice and hotels are clean and close to everything and great breakfast. I must give a shout out to bertha sheila wendell especially. they were amazing!!

For the first time in New Orleans I booked an hotel which is very close to the French Quarter. The name of the hotel says courtyard and I booked a room with courtyard view for two days. But I arrived two days earlier, so I asked to get a room for the first two nights. It is clear that I asked to get the same room over the four days. The guy in the reception said that this would be OK. SobI went up to see my courtyard room, but all I got is a room with a window facing a wall at 1.5 meters of distance. When I went down to ask fir a change, the receptionist told me that this would be zhe courtyard room I booked and that he can‘t change anything. So now I‘m sitting 4 days in a room with no view. Just take care as they have about 10 of these rooms. So I won‘t recommend this hotel to anybody, just in case you close you curtains the whole time, then it is OK. Ah the price for the room with NO view was 145 USD!!!

If your in town it would be a nice place to go very much around the beat of thing I can see the park nice place to go work and it's. On a bus line so you don't have get in your car and most of the thing or in walking

Just a few blocks from everything you want in the French Quarter it is a perfect location if you have to run back to the hotel or take a quick break. The hotel is very quiet- even on New Years Eve I didn't hear a lot of noise. The room was a little outdated but it did have the staples including a fridge. The staff was nice but they weren't very helpful. The information that they gave me was outdated or untrue. DRIVERS BEWARE- the parking is first come first serve in a VERY SMALL area. The first night they didn't have parking for me. The next day I waited almost an hour for a spot.

Top notch service by everyone, and location is perfect - in the French Quarter but away from the noise. Only the breakfast station was not kept full through the dining period, but it might have been due to Christmas time. Rooms are quite small and have no microwave.

Hotel was well priced to be on the outer edge of the French Quarter. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was an added value. I would stay here again. I recommend this to other travelers. Parking is tight! You may have a tough time with a large vehicle. We were ok with our Jeep Grand Cherokee. We would have been miserable had I driven the Dodge Ram.

I love the location of the Best Western Plus - French Quarter. It was in a great spot. The hotel is very nice, would never think it is a Best Western! The exterior courtyard pool looked great, I wish the weather have been nicer to swim. The room smelled a little bit, but NOLA is older, so I understand. The parking here is also safe! It was cheaper than many hotels in the area

Checked in on a Sunday night. Paid parking in very small and narrow. Reception was average. Room was clean and comfortable. Reasonable rates. Very nice outdoor courtyard. Location is three blocks away from Bourbon Street. Morning breakfast was average. Not many offerings and and staff didn't seem interested in replenishing taken items.

This was a wonderful place to stay…quiet, outskirts of the French Quarter but walkable to just about anywhere. Hotel staff was kind, helpful and accommodating. I visited with my elderly mom and we had a blast. People complain about a stale smell in rooms, but we did not experience that at all. The only reason I did not rate higher is because I had to ask for towels and wash clothes as needed, but small inconvenience and environmentally friendly, so no big deal. Thanks for a great stay!

Cons: Rooms small and could be more clean (particularly with heating/cooling system), not so great lighting (especially with all dark furniture and carpeting), toilet did not have strong flush from start and eventually became clogged (although maintenance immediately fixed it as soon as I told front desk). Pros: Great location especially to access French Quarter (everything basically walking distance but far enough to avoid noise of Bourbon street at night), on site parking and also with good price; staff very warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful; warm breakfast served in morning

If you are visiting the French Quarters you cannot do better than this location/place. The morning breakfast was very good. The coffee was hot. The people were friendly. And location was exceptional. I do recommend this one.

Location was within walking distance of bourbon street and Jackson square. Hotel faces Louis Armstrong park, which at night was a great way to find our way back since the entrance to the park is lit up. Everyone on staff was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast included was so nice and made for a nice quick start to the busy day of sightseeing ahead.

Paid for a courtyard view. Our window opened right into the hallway. Our door opened right to the top of the stairs. So mush for a room with a view. As soon as we walked in, all you could smell was mildew spewing from the a/c unit. (This did go away by the next day... Kept an open mind since they recently had a hurricane.) Room was pretty small. Staff was great. Breakfast girls were friendly and I enjoyed interacting with them. Pool looked nice, but never got in. Breakfast was good. Never heard other guests coming and going. Off the beaten path, but not too far. Elevator is tiny. Barley holds 2 people with luggage. Was very happy that the curtains were true light blocking curtains and we didn't have to deal with light peeking in around the sides- a huge pet peeve of mine. On the fence whether I would stay there again.. But we weren't there to visit the hotel, just to sleep.

The best thing about this hotel is the location in the French Quarter: Preservation Hall, Cafe Du Monde, Hermann-Grima House, Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, Rouse's grocery store & Mr. B's Bistro, all within easy walking distance. Parking was just $20 in a gated, covered lot, the best deal for parking in the French Quarter. Other hotels charge twice that amount. We stayed at the back of the hotel which is quieter because it's not on the street side. The rooms are outdoor entrances so it was a bit noisy late at night with people coming and going and doors opening and closing. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were odd shaped, too fluffy for me. There was a refrigerator in the room which is great for keeping drinks cold. The amenities were Pharmacopia citrus scented ones. The hot breakfast was good and they even offered dark and medium roast coffee. It ran 7:30-10:30 and was not too crowded. There is an outdoor swimming pool. Elevators were available but the top floor was on the third floor, so stairs were an easy climb. I would stay here again when we return to the French Quarter. We've paid less for a more upscale hotel in the Garden District, but this was the best value for a descent hotel in the French Quarter. Both service and cleanliness were outstanding.

The staff was excellent. But there are unfinished drywall repairs in our room and cockroaches in friends rooms The location was great about a 5 minute walk to bourbon street and the staff was phenomenal. But unfortunately that did not make it up for the lack of repairs and cleanliness of the hotel.

We visited New Orleans before Covid-19 hit the world. the staff are very friendly and helpful and when we visit New Orleans again this is our hotel of chose. The hotel is close to everything, clean and comfortable. Management would you mind advising how you made that delicious coffee with hickory or where you purchase the coffee from. Great quite French quarter hotel! close enough to EVERYTHING. Staff is extremely nice and accomoadting. The courtyard with pool and fountain is so pretty and quite. Very relaxing after exploring the quarter all day. The beds were comfy. We got the suite with a hot tub in the room and was shocked at how nice the room was for the price. There is no hot tub outside. Nice to stay out of the craziness of bourbon street but close enough to walk to everything you want to see.

This was a nice Best Western close to bourbon St. The hotel had a nice pool and courtyard. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We stayed for three days and had a good selection every morning for breakfast. We would stay again.

It was awful. I will never stay here again if I ever come back to the french quarter. Not worth the money because the service is so poor. They will literally get upset of you call for towels or toilet paper. I was told at one point to get it myself

mosquito bites during check in at reception, mosquitoes in room, small bugs that stings, THE ROOM STINKS, probably because of the old carpets and mattresses, we had to spray lysol but still useless. we were not able to sleep, imagine we were exhausted from walking around new orleans and then didn't get a good night sleep. then drive back to texas for 6 hours with hardly any sleep. i wish they change the old carpets and mattresses very soon.

The hotel is located within walking distances of the French Quarter and Bourbon city, and right across a beautiful park. The Front Desk personnel were extremely helpful and provided superb assistance about places to visit and mobility around area. Rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style, and provided choices for all tastes. Security and safety protocols were of high standard. Great choice for 1 or multiple nights, specially for families.

This place was so well located for us. We wanted to be near the French Quarter without all the late nighttime noise. Accommodation was very comfortable. The value was excellent and we happily took a dip in the pool and enjoyed the adjacent courtyard. Also, PARKING! Happy to find easy access parking in the area

When I chose our hotel I was looking for a good location and price, With the Best Western Plus I got both. The courtyard pool is very nice and your just 6 block from the action on Bourbon Street. The hotel is just across the street from the entrance to Louis Armstrong Park as well. We found the room comfortable and the hotel not noisy. Great restaurants are just a short walk so forget driving and get some exercise.

We had a garden view room. Beautiful garden and pool area. Comfortable clean rooms. Quite when we wanted to sleep. Walking distance to all of the New Orleans fun! It was the perfect place to stay! We highly recommend.

I usually don't think to look for a Best Western when I travel, but in going to New Orleans, I wanted something in the French Quarter that was affordable for the week. This hotel was awesome. Now, I will look for a Best Western whenever I travel. In addition, Brunetta at the front desk, enrolled me in the Best Western Rewards program, so now, I'm earning gift cards and points!

Check in was easy but got to the suite room #101 it was cold turned heat on. Started in packing, but went to close curtain and the sheer curtain is torn down a bit didn't bother me, took a shower and then looked at the jacuzzi tub it was hair in the tub I re cleaned the tub I am a housekeeper manager myself where I am from. Got dress to go celebrate my 17 anniversary came back later for ready for bed at 3am I got people banging on doors walking and running over us so no sleep at all. My husband go up front to talk to person on duty in the morning and thw housekeeping manager has an attitude when my husband told him the room has a bad odor and we found hair and yes I have photos So he tells my husband they can check out now. I am a firm believer you treat a person like they want to be treated and beat western employees need to be accountable for the things that they say. Being rude to guest is a big no no and I will never go to another beat western hotel ever in New Orleans.

Stayed there with my husband and grandson for our vacation. The staff was great: front desk, breakfast buffet, maintenance. They were all super helpful and friendly. Grandson loved the pool! The breakfast buffet was pretty good, but we would have liked more choices. When our room air conditioner stopped working, the maintenance worker, Steadman, made sure we got a new room immediately. He was so nice!

This hotel and staff were exceptional. They were limited with some amenities due to just beginning to open back up from COVID-19, but this didn't change the way the hotel and staff t reared us. Very kind and helpful in every way. Thank you!

This hotel is on the French Quarter conveniently located near all attractions such as Bourbon Street, etc. The most comfortable hotel bed i have ever slept in including the pillows! The Ladies at the front desk all very polite, professional and helpful. The check in and check out were extremely smooth. One of the girls at the front desk helped us pick the best tour for our money! It was awesome! Complimentary breakfast was very Delicious!

From start to finish we were treated like honored guests. All staff were happy, engaging and helpful. The location in the French Quarter was wonderful. Courtyard and facilities fantastic. If you want to enjoy the real New Orleans experience, start at this great hotel.

Never before have I stayed at a hotel and been so impressed. The staff is quick, very friendly, and knows the meaning behind customer service. The staff at the front desk was able to point us in directions that we didn't even think of going. The staff was even capable of reserving spots for us in different events, such as the Natchez river oat cruise, the Laura Plantation, etc... I've never stayed at a hotel that does that for their customers. Beyond the staff lies beautiful architecture with a cozy courtyard to relax in after a long day roaming the French Quarter. As for the rooms, they were exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderfully close to the French Quarter, and a great accommodation, with a great breakfast, pool, internet and courtyard. Parking availability a major plus. Location give access to major roadways as well as the nicely walkable Quarter.

This was the most comfortable hotel we have ever stayed at! The French Quarter BW is amazing! The beds were soft the room was enjoyable the staff amazing! It was a relaxing experience! They provided information about the area and made sure our experience was the best!

From the front desk personnel to the dear lady who served beverages for breakfast to the wonderful man who served our plates at breakfast and brought them to our table to the men who carried out bags to the cab upon our departure this staff was almost unbelievable in their grace and compassion, their commitment to hotel guests. Brunetta was particularly attentive in the reservation process and in helping us know restaurants, directions, sights to see. We cannot say enough about how pleased we were with this staff. As well, the facility was neat, clean, attentive to COVID regulations. The beds were comfy, and the water pressure was just fine. What a treat to stay in this Best Western property!!!!!!!!!!!

The combination of being lied to at check inn about street parking availability, unbelievable elevator noise and drunk people screaming and running up and down the corridors and stairs all night made this a hellish night. Only stay here if you plan to black out from drink, then you may sleep, otherwise forget it.

The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. The building itself is beautiful and historic, and the courtyard is awesome. The location is just right: close enough to walk to downtown, Bourbon Street and the French Market, but far enough away to be quiet.

The entire staff was great. They took really good care of me and my family. Looking forward to staying there again anytime I'm in New Orleans. The location is right in the middle of all the action. Once you park you can walk to have a great time.

Great service and staff, good breakfast. The room was somewhat dated and dingy, but not a big deal. We loved the location being close enough to walk around the French quarter, but quiet enough at night. The shower was either lava hot or freezing cold most of time. We had a hard time getting the water temp comfortable.

I love staying at this Best Western easy walk to French Quarter and to discover the unique Post Office and Shops. The pillow top mattress provided a wonderful restful sleep. Beautiful courtyard, swimming pool and covered parking is a big plus!

The experience was so much better than Hyatt House in Denver. If you stay ask for Cinnamon what a Jewel . Tell her the guy from Colorado Sent you. You can not go wrong with this Property. Great job all of the staff.

The bed was my favorite. Super comfortable with awesome pillows. Free breakfast was great. The courtyard was lovely. We were happy it was nice and quiet because my husband is a light sleeper. 6-7 min walk to Bourbon street.

I literally had the perfect stay. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was pretty decent. The location was awesome. This is definitely where I'll be staying for future visits when visiting New Orleans and the French Quarters.

The hotel is a beautiful old building - located within walking distance of anything you could possibly want to do in the French Quarter! The front desk staff was very helpful! They had recommendations and maps... The hotel was still serving a hot breakfast - which was great!

We chose this hotel because it was an easy walk to Bourbon Street and French Quarter. The parking was on-site self park for $17.99 per night and was gated! The courtyard is gorgeous and quiet and the pool refreshing and cool. The hot breakfast buffet was covid modified; plated and handed to us. Eggs, bacon, grits, cereal, biscuits and gravy were all great. Derek, working the night shift front desk was wonderfully welcoming when we arrived at midnight and when we left days later at 4am. Extremely happy with our stay!

Very nice, place is right at the heart of the French quarter. People are so nice, shout out to Ty he works at the front desk. The couple that served us food are so sweet and helpful. This place made our weekend a very nice place to have a great time.

Bed were super comfortable and the pillows were amazing!! We stayed in a courtyard room overlooking the pool room 314. Water pressure in room was weak. Easy walk to everything in the FQ and great restaraunts

Nice to getaway without a huge crowd. Hotel staff was very pleasant and friendly. Our only disappointment was the view of the Wall outside our bedroom windows. They said they tried to put us in a better room (room was fine) fortunately we didn't spend a lot of time there, so it ended up not being an issue. Hot breakfast a plus

Stayed 5 nights and it was the best hotel stay ever!! Darlene and Ty at check in were so welcoming, friendly and efficient! Stanley, the hotel manager, greeted us so warmly and assisted with taking the luggage to our room. The complimentary hot breakfast every morning was excellent! Charlene, Greg and Dori were so efficient and hard working in the breakfast area and very, very nice!! The hotel is close and within walking distance to all the main attractions in the French Quarter. The hotel has a lovely courtyard and swimming pool and we were very satisfied with our hotel room. Highly recommend this hotel for the amazing staff who made our stay memorable because of their excellent and warm service! Stayed in many hotels all over the world but the service and wonderful hospitality of the staff members here are incomparable! Highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel bed was AMAZING, so nice that we are considering buying one like it for home. The breakfast was hot, delicious and prompt every morning. The overall experience with the facility and staff exceeded our expectations.

The staff was simply amazing. They always asked how you were doing and said hello or good night every time you past one of them. They would suggest places to go and see and places to eat. It was the best hotel experience I have every had. I would stay here again the next time I visit the Big Easy. It wasn't to far to the main places but it was just far enough it wasn't crazy around the hotel.

We had a great time in New Orleans! The hotel was clean, the beds comfy and above all, the staff was wonderful. We received the hospitality of a high class hotel, with staff offering to take our bags to our rooms/car, giving us detailed information about the area, and asking if we would like a bottled water for our drive home. Just a short walk to the French Quarter. Parking in the structure is tight but I was happy my car didn't have to sit in an open lot all night. Will definitely come back when in the area!

This location has a beautiful courtyard, it was a few blocks from Bourbon Street, restaurants, shopping and gambling. We parked our vehicle and walked everywhere besides the busses that picked us up for our planned tours. The city of NOLA was a wonderful experience. We loved it there. We learned so much history and I was never disappointed with the seafood. If we go back, I want to stay at the same place.

Perfect location! Walk to Bourbon St, Jackson Square, French Market, St Louis Cemetery #1, restaurants and shops! Tracy at the front desk went out of her way to make our stay so pleasurable. She booked all of our excursions, including transportation pick up/drop off from hotel. Due to COVID restrictions breakfast was modified, but it was still very good. Plenty of hot items, coffee, juices and the like to choose from every morning. Super friendly staff. We will definitely stay here every time we visit NOLA!

I picked this hotel because of its location. It is a 10 minute walk to French Quarter and right across from the Louis Armstrong park The hotel itself is very nice, the room was spacious and had everything me and my son needed. The pool area was also very nice, unfortunately we weren't able to use it due to freezing weather. The front desk staff was very helpful, answered a lot of my questions about the area and recommended a very good restaurant and couple other things.

Check-in and check-out was easy and fast. The staff was friendly and personable and attentive and informative. Great location, near restaurants, bars and Jackson Square which has all your needs and expectations of New Orleans

Was charged a full night even though I checked in the next day and was told I would only have to pay for the one night. Smell in room made the stay uncomfortable. Price and value of the rooms definitely not worth it!

I cannot say enough about this hotel. I have stayed in probably 15 hotels in the quarter in the past but this will be my go to from now on. Greeted like family on arrival, EVERYTHING explained regarding what is and isn't going on in the FQ due to Covid. Recommendations of restaurants and tours given. Fresh coffee in lobby with King Cake after a chilly night out walking. Parking is less than any other I've stayed at in FQ. Hot, delicious breakfast downstairs in lobby made by cheerful staff. Room was very cozy, clean and updated. Pool was clean and open in a beautiful courtyard.

Their hospitality at this hotel was amazing, everyone was so kind and friendly. Huge shoutout to Darlene for setting us up with a great city tour (I have never been to New Orleans before) and just giving us her genuine kindness and making us feel so welcome. The hotel is within walking distance from all the hotspots, only a couple of blocks away from Bourbon St and countless restaurants & things to do. I would definitely go back!

My daughter & I stayed here for 2 nights. Upon arrival Doris (?) was so very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very clean and quiet. It was a lovely walk to the French Quarter, loved walking around Armstrong Park . We walked everywhere. The parking garage was clean and safe. The housekeeping staff very nice as well. Also , the breakfast was good held me over until we walked for more beignets.

The hotel room and hotel itself is quite dated but overall, the location is what is best! Walking distance to everything and breakfast was included. The staff are also super helpful and very friendly.

First off, I was checked in about 11:30PM by Derrick, who by far, hands down, provided the best service I've ever had checking into a hotel (and I do A LOT of hotel stays). He made sure I knew where my room was, gave me a map of the French Quarter, a basic overview of a couple of the main areas and streets, told me to leave the luggage cart upstairs and he would come get it for me AFTER offering to help me take my luggage up to my room for me. He was enthusiastic, informative, and extremely polite at a time you typically would find goobers working the desk. Whatever you are paying him, it is not enough. Nice room, great wifi, beautiful courtyard. Only thing I wasn't happy about was the paid parking. Super steep and was not expecting that charge when I booked.

Rooms are small. Walls are paper thin, so bring ear plugs and a white noise machine. Our shower was dirty and the previous guest's mask was under the stool near the TV. Could have been cleaner. Hot water was very inconsistent. Breakfast was fantastic! Within walking distance to French Market and Bourbon Street.

You can never go wrong with BW. this location is in the french quarter and has all the amenities one could want. the customer service is EXCELLENT, the cleanliness is EXCELLENT, and the decor lets it be known that you are in The Big Easy. loved my stay and plan to return!

The hotel staff and the hotel cleanliness was great can't complain but everything about the hotel is small. The parking space outside, the elevator can barely fit two people and luggage, and the bedroom all was way too small. The bathroom you couldn't move around in at all.

the staff that works at the hotel was amazing! I have not had a hotel with a staff this great in a long time!!! I will always stay there when I am in town. I had a couple of problems but the staff did a great job and getting the problem fixed. This is way i would go back because of the dedication they gave.

I love Best Western FQ I stay in New Orleans quite often. Even though I have a home, I LIKE TO PLAY THE ROLE of a LOCAL TOURIST!! And when I do, this is my fun hotel. It is conveniently located to everything. Uber is very reasonable, but the best way to get around is to walk. It is directly across from Louis Armstrong Park, walking distance to French Quarters, Canal Street and more. Tons of great restaurants. Oh and three blocks from a police station. Ain't nobody doing nothing bad in that area. SAFE! If you wanna stay in, the pool is small but comfy. Breakfast is full service and The French Quarter Store has great reasonably priced food. Ty is a great tool to use to find great spots and welcomes every guest with a smile. Everybody loves Tyronne, locals and hotel guest. There is a great bar in Best western that is always full of the nicest people and Ty makes great drinks while he answers all questions about the city. Best Western practice COV-Id safety. So much that the bar closed. Must wear a mask and it is sanitized and 6 foot rule applied In closing, the price to stay is usually very reasonable and the rooms are clean and rated average with courtyard views

The room was smaller than expected. But it was nice and comfortable. The refrigerator was broken the whole trip, but we managed. No TV service. They was working on it due to the weather. Overall my family and I enjoyed the hotel.

First and foremost the staff was amazing. attentive, caring, and helpful. The Courtyard was Beautiful, and Location was easy walking distance from everything you need on/around the French Quarter. It is Covid time so they did have stipulations. Cleaning of rooms was by request only, and breakfast was dished for you (still Included). Good time in New Orleans.

If you want to stay in the French Quarter and have limited funds, I would highly recommend this establishment. You will have the advantage of paying 50% off their regular parking fees during this pandemic or until business picks up. The parking area is roofed & shaded. They provide a full hot breakfast that is ordered individually due to Covid-19. They have a seasonal pool that was closed due to resurfacing the surrounding area. For meals, consider ordering some of your meals from Quarter Grocery & Deli a block away. Using the gps on my cell phone, I had little problem driving here as it is very close to Interstate 10. It would have been very troublesome if we could not have parked here with all my stuff in the car.

Our stay at this Beat Western was ok. Due to COVID restrictions there was some inconveniences. The hotel provided some hot breakfast items but you were served a plate and not too many options. We also had to request cleaning of the room if we wanted it, which we did half way thru our 5 day stay. We requested early in the morning before we left - 7 hours later it still was not done so we had to go back and talk to front desk again. Cleaners finally came but we had to leave room again while it was done. The other issue we had was we paid for Parking but the hotel had mattresses delivered so one day we had to pale on street because Parking lot entrance was blocked- just inconvenient. Hotel was fairly clean and quiet. Good location to walk to French quarter but be out of noise

Great central location in the French Quarter, unique architecture, great friendly service and this hotel has everything you need from a free breakfast to a nice pool. I was very satisfied with everything at this hotel and I hope to bring my family here one day. Darlene, Ty, Kia and Roger at the front desk always provided excellent service, thank you.

Hello my name is Donna and I stayed about a week at the end of July. Let me tell you how amazing the whole staff is! Roger is such a sweetheart. Always ready to help and always with a smile. Tye who checked us in was cool. Made jokes and had you feel like you were at a family reunion. The gentleman at night I don't recall his name. But if it wasn't for him my vacation would've been ruin. Idk how I locked my steering wheel but thank goodness for him because he literally saved the whole trip. Going there was really the best idea. And even though it is during the Covid pandemic they were all so diligent. I will definitely go back again!

Moving my son from Florida to Phoenix, we wanted an evening in NOLA, preferably FQ. This was a great stop. Friendly staff. Secure parking. Clean room. Just six blocks from Cafe DuMonde. And the Quarter Grocery a block behind the hotel has outstanding Shrimp Po Boys and the best gumbo either of us have ever had.

We have stayed here several times and it never disappoints! This visit was very quiet and the French Quarter is beautiful currently! I highly recommend staying here as the staff is very helpful and the property is very well kept and clean!

I stumbled upon the Landmark, and was pleasantly surprised just how nice it was. Staff was great. My dog, Ella and I, felt comfortable and were made to feel welcome. The pool was nice and clean, and my room overlooked the beautiful courtyard

Stayed here for a few nights in August 2019, the location is perfect. It's near to everything in the French Quarter but also with it being just on the edge is quiet and away from the general noise of the french quarter. The pool area is lovely and the rooms were also very nice, we got a free breakfast too which was great quality. Very relaxing stay here and would definitely love to visit again.

I love this hotel. Easy walk through out the French quarter. Come out of hotel go left, take first street on left and can walk to Cafe DuMonde. Breakfast by Kim is fantastic! Pool and patio relaxing. Street car for Rampart street was not running when I visited but when it runs, it can be boarded just down from hotel. My plan is to experience this hotel during the first week of December 2020.

We had a twin room without courtyard view. The room was on the small side, although adaquate for a short stay and there was room to place luggage. As others have mentioned the room is very dark and dull and had a smell to it (not massively offensive but enough to notice). The shower worked fine, the room was clean enough and the room had a fridge which was a bonus. I found the hotel staff to be very friendly and we received a lovely welcome from a young man with a great sense of humour. Breakfast was OK and replenished when needed, plenty of seating available and room to get what you need. The courtyard was very pretty and relaxing and a welcome area to sit for a quick break away from the dull room! We had no issues with the location, we felt safe enough walking to and from the hotel along the more well lit areas, even during the evening. There is a little store/deli a block away that does made to order po-boy sandwiches, fries and sells some basic foodstuff. The store looks scruffy from the outside but it is OK and staff were friendly in there. To get there turn left out of the hotel and the next left on Dumaine St, walk to the next road and find the shop on the right hand corner. There is a bar a few doors down, but other than this a walk into the french quarter is needed for a bit of nightlife, it is only a 10 minute walk. If the hotel can address the smell and brighten up the room (get rid of everything brown) I would rate this hotel as very good overall.

Staff was amazing and took steps to ensure we were “ok” during COVID-19. Took extra steps to make sure guests had breakfast options, and allowed us to check out late without fees so we wouldn't have to wait at airport! Very accommodating! Great patio!

This hotel was one of the best Best Westerns we have stayed in. It was so nice inside. It has a nice bar/lounge area with a very nice bartender, who was so informative and friendly. The pool area is very relaxing and comfortable. The guest room was comfortable and roomy. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants

What a perfect place to stay in the French quarters! Located across the street from Louis Armstrong park and an easy walk everywhere. The breakfast surpassed our expectations and the hotel was super clean and the staff was fantastic! It's super close to a fantastic corner market called the quarter grocery on burgundy street where we got the best shrimp Po-boys, muffulettas, grilled cheese, red beans and ice, philly steak sandwiches, wine, beer and ice cream for late night snacks. They even have a cork screw so you can open your wine before you take it home. We were super happy with our suite size and the price of our stay. We would definitely stay there again and we will definitely recommend this hotel to others!

This hotel worked out really well. It was clean and we got upgraded to courtyard just by asking. (more affordable then others I saw) I thought the room was quiet, no problem with noise. They have a friendly staff and good breakfast with plenty of seating room, which was really nice. I was afraid it might be too far away, but it really wasn't and we walked it at nite, just stayed on the more lighted streets and it was fine, but of course we were back by 11 pm at the latest, so I can't say about hours like 2-3 am. We really liked exploring the French Qtr. check out the bars on Frenchman, we enjoyed those!

The staff was more than helpful and a the hotel its self is very beautiful. The breakfast was one of the best I have had for a free hotel breakfast. I was a more than satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel and the state of my room.

Best Western Landmark is 3 short blocks to Bourbon. The staff is always professional & courteous. The complementary breakfast is always fresh & hot. Bar is always full stocked. The employees is what makes this Hotel, hands down ! !

From the time we checked in to this hotel to the time we left, it was a pleasure to be there. The room was large & the bed was huge. The free hot breakfast was more than adequate & had many choices for you to choose. The seating area was large & we had no wait for a table. The Hotel is located in The French Quarter & is conveniently located.

I stayed here because of the great reviews. As everyone stated, staff are friendly. At check in though they neglected to direct me to my room, point out where the elevator was- just basic info. I booked a courtyard view. The courtyard was very cute. The room was basic and seemed to be a bit dark. The floor seemed like it could use a deep cleaning. Also, for a “plus” hotel we weren't supplied with body lotion. I'm rating the hotel pretty high because of its really good breakfast. It included the typical Best Western breakfast items AND specialty items like dirty rice, andouille sausage, and biscuits. I enjoyed the dirty rice and sausage. My son loved the biscuits. They also had a nice selection of coffees (medium, dark roast as well as chicory coffee). We also liked the location. It was close to everything we wanted to see in the French Quarter as well as right across the street from the Louis Armstrong and Treme neighborhood.

This was our first visit to New Orleans. We were pleased that this hotel was in a safe area on the edge of the French Quarter. Most attractions etc were in walking distance (Jackson Square, Canal Street, Riverwalk outlets, Bourbon St, Cafe Du Monde, French Quarter Markets etc). We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the room was clean and comfortable. The only improvements could be - the room smelt very musty, almost like old cigarette smoke, and the hot water took forever to come on and was not overly hot.

Give this joint a miss. Breakfast is strictly two star. Remarkable the hotel bar closes at 20:00. Room is fine. Location is very good. But overrated and overpriced. Check out a hotel where the breakfast choice is beyond the basic and the bar runs beyond 22:00.

Everything you could want is here! Safe location, comfortable beds, clean, even has a lounge. Also, car parking on-site....for a fee. It is close to Bourbon Street, Cafe Du Monde, French Quarter, and the World War II Museum.

This was our second stay in New Orleans and both times we stayed at this hotel because we were so satisfies the first time. The location is perfect, right across the Louis Armstrong Park and right next to the French Quarter. The staff is extremely friendly and will help you with all your needs. If you're staying in the French Quarter, this is the place to stay in!

This was a nice, quiet, clean hotel. We thought we were staying in the French Quarter, not on the edge, but it was oaky and not too long a walk to Jackson Square. One in our party can't walk long distances, but she took alternate transportation when she had to.

I enjoyed staying here. The beds were comfortable, although mine was creaky so everytime I moved it made an awful noise. I also found the room a bit musty, I had to use my asthma inhaler a couple of times. The best way to describe it was that it felt like it used to be an old smoking room that hasn't been aired out properly. The TV also struggled with signal most nights as well. Despite that, I really did enjoy my stay here. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the buffet breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty and replenished frequently, the location was walking distance (5-8mins to bourbon Street and French quarter) although the last couple of roads back to the hotel did feel a little unsafe as they were just quiet, so I would recommend not walking alone. I slept well here, there was little noise, the courtyard was quiet and they left a gift bag of goodies for my friend as it was her birthday during our stay. I would completely recommend this place.

We stayed 3 nights prior to our 7 night cruise. We had been to New Orleans several years a go and so liked this hotel we chose it again. Walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. We really love this hotel and will stay there next time we visit New Orleans.

the hotel is easy to get to , has paid parking would have been nice if it was included in the room rate. the hotel is just a few blocks from all the action. this hotel has a very nice court yard were you can relax after long walks around the city. The staff could not have been nicer , helping with tours. The room was very comfortable nice shower could have used a little more hot water. Only Best Western hotel I have ever been in that has a bar in the lobby. I definitely stay there again if I was to return to New Orleans

Hotel room was cozy. Had great drinks at the bar and a really good price for happy hour. Front desk staff reserved made reservations for us for trips. An outrageous breakfast that was awesome. And so were the staff that come to visit you while you're eating your breakfast and make sure everything was great. Plus they bought out to find China real plates and silverware.! They made you feel at home and they did all the work.

I do not have not one negative thing to say about this hotel. It was such a wonderful stay. The staff were amazing. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The room was very clean, spacious. Big enough for myself. I slept peacefully, no complaints of any type of noise. The bathroom was a bit tight and snug but It was only me so it didn't bother me. The Hotel is in a great location, right within French Quarter. 3 blocks away from the loud and rowdy Bourbon Street. Right across the street from Louis Armstrong Park. 15 min walk from Frenchman St. or Canal. Buses runs right on the block. I was able to get to any destination by foot easily. Breakfast every morning. A courtyard and a pool on location. I would definitely stay in this Hotel again. I had such an amazing experience and would definitely recommend.

This hotel met and exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect. It's 10-15 minute walk to everywhere. And it's far enough away that it's quiet around the hotel. I have never met a group of staff that were all so genuinely friendly and helpful. They really went above and beyond. The breakfast were very good and the staff kept it cleaned up well. The room size is a bit small but it was adequate as we don't spend much time in the room. I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Great place to stay. Easy walk to The French Quarter. Everyone was very helpful with our check in as well as assisting in arranging our return trip back to The Louis Armstrong International Airport, which is about 30 minutes away.

The courtyard is nice and breakfast was good. It's close to bourbon street which is very convenient for restaurants / going out at night. But I was really disappointed by my experience after reading all the good reviews before booking. The bathroom fan had a lot of dust, one of the mattresses was old and very uneven, and the soap is weird in that it's hard to wash off. The sink got clogged but the hotel staff gave us a replacement room, which made the stay much better. The fitness room is small and dim, and two machines were broken. Something quite weird and shady was I overheard some customers talk to the front desk receptionist about their intentions to ‘get smashed', discuss pricing about something, and the receptionist said he couldn't talk about it here, and the customers arranged a time for the receptionist to go up to the customers' room to discuss further.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was great. This is my favorite hotel when I go home to New Orleans. I love how close it is to downtown and not too expensive. The breakfast was perfect and fresh. The pool is great as well.

We stayed here for three nights over Christmas. Upon arriving it seemed a little remote--directly across the street from Louis Armstrong Park-- but it is a very short walk to the French Quarter and all the acitivty, without being right in the middle of it. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do and maps etc. We had a room facing the courtyard which was quiet and I think nicer than facing the street. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. There is a hot breakfast with a wide variety of choices every morning and a small bar with beer and wine. Of course in New Orleans there are tons of other options for food and bars! I would reccomend this for a trip to New Orleans, the price was very reasonable so you can save your money for all the other things you want to do in this fun city!

Hotel has a very good location to be able to walk to most of the French Quarter. Our room was nicely appointed and very quiet. The courtyard is nice to sit out in and relax. Very good breakfast in pleasant environment with china and silverware. Buffet as usual. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

First, the customer service was the best I've ever had. From the great staff at the front desk to the staff at breakfast and to housekeeping, all superb. The room we had was very small but nice. It was within easy walking distance to the French quarter and there were some interesting bars in the area.

Perfectly located in the French Quarters close to everyevery. The rooms are clean, well decorated and modern. They have super friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast I'm the morning is delicious with lots variety. I fully recommend the hotel.

This hotel is a gem! We stayed 2 nights ending a cruise down the Mississippi River. The hotel is close to everything, it is clean, well maintained and the employees were amazing. We loved our time there!

Is this really a five star property. Probably not, but physically it is solid four, the location is a low four and the staff is an eight. It is on the northern edge of the French Quarter so there is always a five or six block walk to get to many of the attractions of the area. There is a lovely restaurant virtually next door (Meaux bar) and it is an easy walk to the French Market Area. We found the staff from Stanley the GM to the breakfast room servers to be warm, caring and helpful. There is a nice courtyard pool (too cold for us to swim) and an internal parking area if you drive. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great location- less than a 10- minute walk to The French Market, Jackson Square, and Bourbon Street. It sits on the Rampart trolley line which unfortunately is down due to the Hard Rock Hotel collapse but it was still very easy to navigate anywhere. They have onsite parking for $39 per night and most of it is covered. We had a courtyard room which was beautiful. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The rooms have a small refrigerator which was nice. Breakfast is included and had the standard hotel fare plus coffee (4 varieties), tea and fruit available all the time. There is a microwave available for use in the breakfast area if you need one as well. They do have sodas and snacks available at the front desk for purchase ( at cheaper prices than usual for hotels). Very nice bar in the lobby and we stopped there on our last evening when the weather took a major downturn. It was cold, windy and raining. Ty the bartender, makes a terrific drink and I finally tried a hurricane! The staff there focuses on cleaning- no complaints about the quality of anything. I would highly recommend staying there. You are close to the action but can escape to a beautifully quiet retreat when you are done.

This is a great location for your money. It is close to everthing no need to drive. Staff was great and very friendly. They have a hot continental breakfast, plenty pick from. Every time we go to New Orleans this is the only place I like to stay at. The only problem I found this time was my room had too many roaches that kept coming out. Hopfully they fix the problem because I have never seen it before when I stayed there. But overall I wil stay there again and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Away from the hustle of the bourbon street crowds but quaint and historical area. Beautiful courtyard sitting area to relax and enjoy the music playing from the nearby festival in the Louis Armstrong Park. Wendell at the front desk was a wonderful guide to local spots and great directions. Hot buffet breakfast was a nice added touch to each day. Deli spot around the corner had the best red beans and rice that we ever tasted. Don't be fooled by the appearance of the store. Go to the back and enjoy!!

The beds can be more comfortable and the breakfast was ok but not great. But overall i had a good stay, the staff is great, helpful with everything from suggesting restaurants to nice places to visit.

Place was perfect. Didn't know the town or what I would be stepping into. Was an awesome value and top notch all around. Will definitely use again and recommend this place to everyone. Can't wait to use best western again

I have now stayed at the Best Western French Quarter twice. First, it is affordable and you get a delicious buffet breakfast. We were able to fill up every morning before we set out. Second, the staff is beyond hospitable; they made our stay very pleasant. Third, the facilities are very clean and cozy. Fourth, you are in the Quarter and in walking distance to all attractions, yet not in the middle of the noise of say Bourbon Street. I would definitely stay with them again and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the Quarter.

Great location, easy walk all over walkable to all of the French Quarter. Caught the Hop on /Off bus across the street. Clean facility, staff excellent. Really enjoyed the cute place. Wonderful restaurant on the corner and a small grocery near by.

After 24 hours travelling we were greeted by a surly receptionist who seemed more interested in the young female guests. The hotel has a nice courtyard setting but we were given two rooms down a dark corridor with no natural light. One of the rooms smelt musty. That was the downside, all the rest of the staff were great and breakfast was excellent and when I mentioned the smell in the room we were given a 10% discount. I would stay here again but I'd want a room facing into the courtyard.

Always prefer to stay at Best Western Hotel when I travel and if there is one available in my destination area. Booked the BW+ French Quarter Landmark because of it's location on North Rampart, across from Louis Armstrong park and just blocks away from all the sites I wanted to visit, it's the beautiful open courtyard with pool and water fountain, the lobby bar and the TripAdvisor reviews on how delicious the free breakfast was.

We've found no matter where we travel, Best Western is the best value. The hotels are clean, safe, attractive with an attentive staff and all for a very reasonable rate. This visit was no exception. All the staff appeared dedicated to making our stay a pleasurable one. We felt we were in good hands

The staff was very helpful, friendly, and quick to respond to any problems. The room was clean, we had a few pillow cases with stain but staff quickly changed the entire bed and apologized. They even left us a note and goodie bag which we appreciated. We only had one problem with the tv being out during the storm. The breakfast was ok, not alot of options but good for hotel breakfast. The courtyard was lit with lights and beautiful. Im alittle OCD and I would definitely stay here again lol

Walking distance to river, bourbon st, and even WW2 museum and the streetcar. took my son whose 23 and we had a blast. The bartenders gave us great advice for places to eat. Oceana was great on Conti. Get your beignets at cafe du monde, again u can walk. Bring sneakers.

Gave us the right French Quarter sense. Great staff, beautiful courtyard, clean room. Easy to order Og get take away and eat in the courtyard. Make sure to get a room with courtyard view, otherwise, you'll be starring at concrete walls. If other guests are noise, do tell the reception personnel, they take it very seriously.

A great hotel in a very good location. We had a roadside room, but it was quiet and spacious. The room was very clean and hotel staff were very helpful. No negatives, just a great hotel in a great place for a very, very reasonable rate.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our recent Road trip.. Room was spacious comfortable and spotlessly clean.. It was opposite Louis Armstrong Park and just far enough from Bourbon Street.. Breakfast was good and check in and out was efficient.. Parking was a bit expensive but fair as most of New Orleans has high parking prices.. Would stay again.

The Best Western Landmark was a great place to stay. Located on the edge of the French Quarter, it was far away enough from the noise of the Quarter to be restful as well as convenient. Cabs were usually parked outside, making it easy to get around. The staff was fabulous, and treated us like family. There was a bar off the lobby which was great for visiting with friends, and the complimentary breakfasts were unusually good. The bed was comfortable, and the room was kept very clean. There was a pool in the lovely courtyard, and parking was available.

We spent a lot of time trying where to decide during our trip to New Orleans. I'm so happy we picked the Best Western Plus. Friendly staff, clean rooms, breakfast and a pool. The real perk was we could walk to all attractions. It was very close to the excitement of New Orleans yet not loud. The room was spacious and clean. Nice bedding.

GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY. Only 3 blocks to BURBON STREET. Public transportation stops at the front door wish is quite convienent since parking lots are quite expensive and driving is congested. The breakfast is very good with a nice selection and they never run out. The entire staff will go out of their to make you feel special WILL RECOMEND THIS BEST WESTERN 100% YOU WILL NOT BE DISIPOINTED.

Our stay was wonderful. We were visiting from Seattle and this perhaps the best customer service I have experienced. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from Bourbon St and the location is quite and clean.

The property is extremely old and outdated yet had very friendly staff and clean rooms. Everyone from the breakfast staff to the Night Auditor and the rest of the front desk is very friendly. I also like that there is a Housekeeping Supervisor that goes above and beyond to help the front desk.

Perfect location with transportation close by. 4 blocks to Bourbon Street. The entire staff made us feel comfortable and cared about. They answered all the questions we had and pointed us in the right direction to catch buses or trolleys to get to the location of the sites we wanted to see.

We booked this room for a weekend through Hotels.com, it was Southern Decadence Weekend! Directly across the street from Louis Armstrong Park, three blocks from Bourbon Street, two blocks from Key's gas station and six blocks from Cafe Du Monde. We walked to and from Bourbon Street didn't encounter one single problem. The hotel staff was very helpful with anything we needed. The last night our a/c went out in room 209 and they promptly moved us to 328 which was within the courtyard view. We enjoyed the pool and the hospitality. Natesha at the front desk and Miss Shirley were EXTREMELY helpful with any questions we had. I can say the interior room we had initially was really stuffy and smelled of standing water compared to the courtyard room where it was a much cleaner smell. The rooms were enough for three women staying in NOLA for a weekend. The breakfast was just enough to get the day started. I don't expect a whole spread especially since its so much more in NOLA to taste. In the end its now my favorite hotel in the quarter. You can't beat the convenience, cost and hospitality!

We stayed here as part of a tour and we loved it, very close to all the main attractions, staff were great, breakfast was great, room was great. Close to the main areas for sightseeing, beautiful park across the road and a short walk to the main streets where everything is happening.

This is a perfectly comfortable price-worthy place to stay during Southern Decadence. Close to the festivities, Very friendly and patient staff (Lawrentay rocks!) . Good place to crash during New Orleans festivities.

It's a Best Western it's not the newest but the bathrooms have been renovated and are nice but small the courtyard is the best feature they do have a bar complimentary breakfast and it's convenient to all points of the French Quarter I would recommend this as an economical Hotel. All the staff have been extremely nice and helpful. They seem to really care about the hotel and guests.

We stayed at this hotel for one night after our cruise. Everything was incredible. We arrived about 9am even though it was too early to check in they said to help ourselves to breakfast. This was the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. It was even better than some restaurants and it's free! They held our bags for us while we went sightseeing and they allowed us to check in around 2. The beds and pillows were comfy, the room and grounds were very clean. Although we didn't swim due to rain, the pool looked refreshing. All the employees were very friendly and accommodating. If I am ever back in new orleans this is where I will stay.

Best STAFF ever!!! All were VERY courteous and we're always there to greet you with the warmest respect!!! Full breakfast was nice! I'd say 10 minute walk from Bourbon Street. BTW...Ignore anyone that ask you.....I know where you got those shoes....BIG scam!!! Keep walking!! Also took the French Quarter Phantoms ghost tour....stories were awesome...just HATED the fact we didn't return back to the destination where we had started!! Left in a place we were not familiar with!! Even though the tour was kinda a let down....the Voodoo Lounge was not a disappointment...ALL crew were very respectful and awesome!!!!

Great hotel if you want to be close to Bourbon Street but the area did not feel safe to be in. Hotel was fantastic, staff were great and price was affordable however after strolling down to Bourbon Street after we arrived we did not feel safe in the area of the French Quarter. Maybe as a large group but as two females and a male, we didn't feel like we could be out after dark. The breakfast was yum and provided us with a great meal to start the day. We didn't use the pool but it looked lovely and clean. Rooms were tidy and cleaned daily. The rooms are small but it was fine for the two nights we stayed. I would recommend this hotel to those who want to be near Bourbon St and experience the “night life” but as I said we didn't feel safe enough to do so.... After doing a hop on hop off tour bus (which is great and I would highly recommend to see the city and do so safely) we noticed that the Garden District was a much nicer area to stay in. So next time I would stay here.

Nice hotel with a courtyard featuring a pool. Rooms are comfortable. The staff is outstanding. Friendly & always willing to help with anything. The location in great, easy walk to the French Quarter and to Frenchmen's St. The trolly stop is only a couple blocks down the street. There is a buffet breakfast featuring hot entrees, cereals, fruits, juices, etc. We spent several mornings chilling at the pool area after breakfast. We've stayed here twice in the last year & would highly recommend it.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Best Western in New Orleans. Deciding where to stay in New Orleans was not easy, especially when there are so many properties to choose from. I booked this hotel because of its location, but also because it seemed to have an authentic French Quarter vibe. And indeed it did. The courtyard area is beautiful, especially at night. The staff is lovely and helpful, especially Kim the breakfast manager. She was really attentive and helpful to us (we have dietary restrictions). The breakfast has a good selection, everyone was very relaxed and content. The complimentary water bottles were most welcome on these 100 degree days. The location was great. Near all the action, but far enough away that you don't hear it in the hotel. Thanks so much for a great stay!!

A pool in a courtyard, rooms are clean and spacious, management and staff go above what's required... rates of rooms with that huge breakfast each day... you cannot beat this deal. On the street car route so easy to get around if you don't want to walk. Can't say enough good things about the hard working staff... we will be back to NO, we will stay here again....

Everyone here was kind, helpful, and pleasant to encounter. Lovely people all willing to make your stay great. I really enjoyed the pool. There were plenty of towels available. The room was extremely clean and staff replenished supplies expeditiously.

After spending a few nights located out of town at an Airbnb we decided to move closer into town. Having said that there is absolutely nothing wrong with staying away from the centre, we have an excellent time in a local neighbourhood with fantastic houses and local neighbourhoods. This hotel, as many others have reported, is very close to the tram links and also within walking distance of the French quarter shops and other attractions. The room we shared was clean, breakfast fresh and the 'usual' fayre. The staff are welcoming and display all the characterises of the southern hospitality that I have come to like and expect (compare to my New York experience:( ).

Accomidations were clean and well appointed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and refreshing in the hot New Orleans sun. The breakfast was delicious and there was always coffee, tea and drinks available in the lobby.

So welcoming, I asked where to get ice and the manager brings out 2 big things to fill our cooler. What a nice man. The lady at the desk booked our tour. This is why i love best western. Helpful and friendly.

We were here 6 nights, apart from an initial mix up on our booking where they thought we were only here for one and put us in room 342 next to the service elevator which is noisy we managed to get shifted the next day to 324. The staff here were incredible, fully appreciated our situation and went out of their way to make us comfortable- maybe they don't get such long term stays too often - whatever, they were very helpful. The place had a good pool, a courtyard area around it with tables etc that can be used for brekkie if you want to sit outside. The only downside is having to put up with 6 days of the almost identical breakfast fare. The location is great, at the edge of the french qtr, opposite Louis Armstrong park, walking distance to all of the Qtr and a trolley bus right out front to get you around the rest of the city. Highly recommended I

This historic style hotel is in a good location and at a reasonable price in comparison to others.Close enough to walk to Bourbon Street etc but far enough away to be nice and peaceful. It was right opposite the lovely Louis Armstrong Park. Good reception area as you enter the hotel and we were attended to by very friendly staff. There is a nice outdoor courtyard in the middle of the hotel and also a small pool. The room,on the first floor, wasn't huge but a good enough size for the 2 of us. It was nice and clean with a very comfortable bed and also very quiet plus there was a safe.The complimentary breakfast was good and plentiful with ample room to sit and eat. As has been mentioned,parking is a bit on the expensive side and you just have to factor it in when looking to book but overall it was an excellent choice for us and would definitely stay here again if we were in New Orleans again. We've stayed in Best Western hotels a few times and you generally know (in our experience) that you won't be disappointed and,again, we wasn't.

The location of the hotel was excellent. You could walk anywhere. The pool was nice to sit around for breakfast and to take a dip. The staff were welcoming and happy to answer questions or accommodate any needs. We were impressed by the experience.

Hotel was within walking distance to the vibrant nightlife in Bourbon Street but far enough away to get a good quiet nights sleep. Breakfast was very good too. Staff at reception were very helpful as well. Will definitely return.

PROS: Nicely appointed rooms. Older property but good ambience. Room opened up to pool/courtyard...very scenic & set the mood for staying in the French Quarter. Staff friendly. Breakfast good. Right on edge of French Quarter so only five minute walk to anywhere in the Quarter but away from the noise. CONS: $39/night to park is crazy. I understand parking at a premium for the French Quarter area BUT for a more budget friendly hotel (which is still a bit $$ since is in the Quarter) this amount was actually more than some nicer properties in the Quarter. We will return to New Orleans soon & I will have to consider this carefully before booking this property again. Minor issues: sink in room area is carpeted (should be tile!), light over sink/vanity area could be better All in all a good property to stay at BUT the parking fee is crazy!

We were there during "hurricane barry" which put a damper on our vacation. Hotel staff was short (people unable to get to work) but the manager, Stanley, and Dorie (and everyone else) worked tirelessly to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Stanley never seemed to stop working (literally) and we spotted him doing EVERYTHING from answering phones to skimming the pool, to cleaning rooms. Nice lounge/bar, friendly and personable staff, NO COMPLAINTS from this party of 7 (two rooms). HIGHLY Recommended. If we ever return to N.O., this is where we'll stay.

My stay was good. I like the good bag left on my bed on the last night. Only problem I had was a broken iron. I reported it when I checked out. The staff is friendly. The breakfast staff are very helpful.

i could go on for hours about how great this Hotel is from the minute i walked though the door and was greeted by young lady at the front desk her genuine warmth made me take notice,but when the housekeepers say a friendly hello each morning wow you don't get that at Disney! This place is wonderful, clean and great free breakfast.I will stay here again.To the Manager of this Hotel great job !

I cannot negatively review this place. Everything was amazing from the decor to the incredibly helpful staff! The court yard was beautiful, the pool was great. Close to all the action of the French Quarter. Just one block from the street car. Can't wait to come back.

I wanted to stay close to the French Quarter and in a hotel chain I recognized. Best Western looks exactly like the website photos. No surprises and everything was terrific. Great free breakfast, cool good looking bartender, outdoor pool, comfortable room, clean everything, walking distance to everything I wanted to see and do from Bourbon St to the waterfront but quiet when I went to sleep. I felt safe the whole time in my room and when walking the area. The price was super reasonable and I would absolutely stay again. Everything was great.

We had 4 couples traveling together. The hotel worked with us to keep our group next to each other as requested. The hotel treated all of us as Diamond members. THey made it a memorable trip for all of us.

This is a nice old real New Orleans looking and feeling hotel but better, the parking on site is great and safe and the pool and patio area are very nice. The hot breakfast is super, great location to get to see everything you want to see in the area.

This hotel has old historical structure. The parking is expensive but worth it. The room with king size bed was adequate. The breakfast selection was very good. I would go back to this place in future.

Located in the French quarter most attractions and good restaurants are within walking distance. The staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you which is why I gave this 5 stars. The breakfast and facilities were ok but it's the staff that earned this 5 stars. The bar is incredibly well priced compared to bars nearby. Rooms were dated but it's what you expect in New Orleans and the pool area was small but we never struggled to find spare loungers on that note.

The hotel staff is very nice and informative. The room was a little small but it served it's purpose. Very close to Bourbon Street and the street car. Breakfast was good and overall a good hotel. I would recommend this hotel and definitely come back to stay.

I had an issue connecting to the Wifi. The clerk was so friendly and helped me out. All staff exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was amazing. Eggs, a meat, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, grits, cereal, waffles, toast, bagels, fried potatoes.

This hotel is great for location, great service and very clean. We were in walking distance of Bourbon St, French Quarter and Canal St. It's on a quiet end so when you are done exploring all the party spots its nice to go back to the hotel and have no after effects of the party side.

The hotel itself feels very homey with a nice pool & courtyard area. Bathrooms right by the pool so you don't have to go back to the room. Nice room with a nice shower, friendly staff & great service. Breakfast was awesome with lots of choices, better than some of the breakfasts that have been included with rooms I have stayed in the past (not BW). Great location across the street from Armstrong Park and within walking distance to Bourbon Street & Jackson Square. Stayed with my spouse & our 3, 7 & 9 year olds, they loved it. We will absolutely book again when we come back to NOLA.

The rooms are located facing an open balcony like those cheap motels you see in the movies, so if the only window remains with open curtains you have no privacy and if you close them it makes the all-brown room look even darker and sadder. My room was even worse because the window faced a closed corridor. Bed and pillows ok. They pretend to be eco-friendly but towels were changed every day even when I indicated it was not necessary. Also found lights, tv and air conditioned on when I returned... they might think this is in favour of the guest but it is an unnecessary waste. The lady in the breakfast room practically wiped the table off while people were still eating. Only one person in the lobby so you have to wait a lot. Having to ask a key to use the bathroom next to the pool is really annoying. They make your key-card stop working the day of your check-out as a "reminder". Good computers and printer in the lobby. But please do something about that perpetual horrible smell in the elevator!!!

This hotel ticks all the boxes.. very friendly staff, great location, nice rooms, perfect WiFi and a lovely pool and garden to cool off in. Only negative, which cannot be controlled by the hotel, was a group of very undesirable guests (mix of Americans and English) who took over the pool, were obnoxious, smoked and drank all day and even tried to steel my sunglasses! Aside from that our stay was PERFECT. Location is very good for LGBT guests as bars are very close, guests wanting to party on Bourbon st but escape the madness afterwards and anyone wanting an oasis to come back to after a hot and tiring day exploring the city. I hope to visit New Orleans again and will certainly chose this hotel again. Highly recommended! Just one tip for the management - a shower by the pool would be good.

Exceptionally friendly staff, great food, nice courtyard, excellent location in the French quarter but just far enough from Bourbon street that you could sleep! Kid friendly as well and our toddler twins were made to feel more than welcome.

Loved our time in New Orleans. Perfect location: quiet at night and short distance to walk to get into the hub of things. Good size room. Clean and beds comfy. The layout of the hotel is quaint with balcony around the pool and outside seating area. Glad of the pool for a dip in the heat. Nice breakfast. Expensive car parking. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms with double beds are kind of small for the price that we paid for night, plus in our room we had bad odor cause the air conditioner was dripping water all day and night , we literally just used the room to sleep four or five hours and leave , but I will say the breakfast it's the best service nice and neat area.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights on the 18th to 20th May, and were very pleased with our accommodation. The location is excellent. Just a short walk to Bourbon St and far enough away to avoid the noise from revellers. The staff were wonderful and very helpful and the rooms were small but clean, with comfortable beds. My only negative was the very noisy air conditioner which we had to turn off each night to sleep. It also blew directly onto the bed which was very cold and unavoidable. Fortunately it was not too hot but I would be worried about no cooling in the height of summer. Breakfast was complimentary and had a reasonable choice of items. Over all, I would recommend this hotel as a value for money option.

Booked based on TripAdvisor reviews and we were very pleased. Great location - easy walk to anywhere in the French Quarter, but also a little away from all the noise and crowds as well. Worked out perfectly for us. The property is nice and well maintained and the rooms, while on the small side (as anyone should expect from a hotel in a historic area), are very good. Housekeeping staff did an excellent job during our stay as well. However, it was the front desk staff and management who truly made our stay memorable. It is rare to receive customer service on the level we did during our stay here. The ladies on the front desk during the day were friendly, genuine, and incredibly helpful. They shared a wealth of knowledge about New Orleans with us during our stay. The staff during the evening was equally friendly and helpful, as was the manager we spoke with briefly. Not once did we enter the lobby that we weren't greeted by the staff and ask how our day/evening had been. The staff represented both the hotel and the city of New Orleans well during our visit. We will definitely be staying again.

I can't say anything negative about BW Plus. The staff was so, very helpful. They provided map service to places, with directions to get there on the map. Breakfast was great and it help on the budget. The rooms were as picture in the advertisement.

This hotel was far enough away from the noise on Bourbon Street. It is directly opposite The Louis Armstrong Park, which is gorgeous. Walking distance of the main section of the French Quarter. Getting around was easy as we used Uber. There is a River walk shopping centre which we got an uber to etc. The hotel is clean, the rooms have fridges, which we asked for bottles of water at breakfast - they are free. The breakfast was nice, the sausage rice dish at breakfast was so yummy! Don't knock it till you've tried it. The reception desk sell cans of cold coke cola for a few dollars. You vz' get take aways delivered here. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool area has a lovely fountain an seating area. There is a shortage on ashtrays so we just used a paper cup an a bit of water. There are ice machines on both floors, which we filled up our drink bottles with, and a water cooler in the eating area for days out. Lovely hotel. Be careful at night out and about. There are a lot of homeless people around. Re the French quarter - A girl was shot in the face by her boyfriend during our stay on Bourbon Street.

We highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are clean & nicely appointed. The staff is friendly, helpful & professional. The pool area has ample seating & is lovely with trees, flowers, tropical plants & a fountain. The facility is located across the street from Armstrong park & on the outer edge of the French Quarter. It's close enough that walking to the French Quarter is easy, yet is situated just far enough away that it is quiet & allows for a good night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast is very good; hot and fresh with a wide assortment of items to choose from. Parking (extra charge) is better for compact cars, not larger vehicles. This is a very nice facility & a great value! Again, we highly recommend this lodging facility!

Across from Louis Armstrong Park in the the French Quarter, and across from the RTA Streetcar stop, we found this Hotel to be the perfect jumping off place for seeing New Orleans. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Slight walking distance to Bourbon Street made this the perfect place to stay if you want a little bit of quiet. All staff that we encountered, even in passing, were pleasant. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very nice. Loved the courtyard area and pool. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

This was last stop on our road trip. We finished where we started. Totally different to the Garden District but the hotel was close enough to where you wanted to eat and drink bit far enough away so you were not caught in the middle of it! Staff were really accommodating. Very friendly and ensured we were looked after. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels supplied. Breakfast was great. The only hotel on out our trip that served breakfast on proper crock plates! The staff worked hard at breakfast too ensuring tables were cleaned and fresh coffee available. The pool and surrounding area was really pretty. Kept clean and quiet in its own courtyard. Great hotel and a brilliant location!

This is my new favorite hotel in New Orleans. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. It's clean and comfortable and exactly what we needed for our trip. We will definitely stay there again when we visit NO.

First time at this location and absolutely love it. The courtyard, swimming pool, the bar and great breakfast. I cannot say enough about the staff and their friendly and willing attitude everyone. The rooms are nicely decorated and the ambiance captures New Orleans. Great job!

Very well located hotel. Good service. We were disappointed by the breakfast and especially the use of plastic cups, dishes, etc. The room was nice and very clean. The swimming pool is also nice to have.

The hotel staff oozed with southern hospitality. The layout of the hotel was stunning with an interior courtyard and plenty of parking on site. It is on the streetcar line and faces the Louis Armstrong park. Most activities are within walking distance.

As you will probably be aware, it is quite expensive to stay in the French Quarter area of New Orleans but well worth it as it's a lovely area. Cost around £140 a night but to be fair there was a jazz festival on, so it was a busy time. Add 35 dollars a night parking to that as well! It is limited but was still a few spaces free each night. The receptionists weren't the happiest bunch I've met and had to go back a couple of times upon arrival, firstly because the key card didn't work on the room they told us.... then when it did, another guests baggage was inside!! Luckily we aren't dodgy so left their things be!! Then finally got the key to a different, correct room. The room itself was cleaned but smelt heavily of cleaning chemicals and after that smell had worn off it was understandable why, as it had a nasty smell to it which I couldn't quite decide what it was. Good sized room and bed was comfy. Got a good nights sleep even with the bad weather in the evenings/mornings. I've only rated as average because of the couple of issues above, it has all the credentials of an excellent hotel other than that.

This was our first trip to New Orleans and was enhanced by our stay in this great hotel. Small friendly and clean. Excellent staff - nothing too much trouble, comfy beds and a private pool area for cooling off after a hot day exploring the area

We checked in early on Sunday, April 28th and left on Tuesday, April 30th. Motel staff was great to work with, paid attention to detail to make our experience a pleasant one, and had a great breakfast bar to get the day going. They also had USA Today for its customers. We love that paper. Staff was great in helping us to get to places we wanted to see and was great helping us check out so we could get to the airport on time to catch our plane. We would go there again if we get a chance to return to N.O.

The room and view are great. We really love the breakfast at this location. Wish all Best Westerns has same type of food. The parking is very tight in the garage. Courtyard rooms are the best. Best bang for your buck at this location.

We booked only a few hours before arriving and got a good price for the room. Parking cost an additional 39 USD, which was a bit much. The hotel is a two storied building just a few minutes walking distance from Bourbon Street and Jackson Square. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the walls are really thin, so you can hear the people in the other rooms talking. They serve a hot breakfast, which exceeded expectations.

Lovely hotel close to many of the famous landmarks NOLA is known for. Rooms were clean with comfy beds and pillows. Nice garden area with pool and seating areas, pool towels provided. Breakfast was good, plenty of seating, no queuing, great choice of hot and cold items. Staff were friendly, easy check-in/check-out. Charge for parking was expensive $39 per night, small car park too. Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, Armstrong Park, Cafe du Monde and lots of other interesting places in walking distance to the hotel.

Our family enjoyed a lot our stay in this hotel. The nice and cute backyard and swimming pool were a definitive plus as we have 2 kids (7 and 9). We spent time reading in the lounge chair and only went in our room to sleep. The buffet option is also very nice for the kids. And the Louis Armstrong park located across the street is also good to let the kids energy out if needed.

Wife and I enjoyed 3 nights staying here and found it to be excellent. The rooms are a bit dated in decor, but clean, well appointed, lovely comfy beds and quite spacious. Nice breakfast included in our tariff and served downstairs. There is a nice pool in the centre courtyard area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A quick walk to all of the French Quarter attractions and the tram runs past outside with a stop a few metres down the road. Also a taxi rank on the opposite side of the road. We would recommend this place as a great place to stay if wanting to be int he French Quarter, yet not surrounded by the 24-7 hustle and bustle of Bourbon St.

recently went to NOLA for 1st time and this hotel was perfect! location from bourbon st was ideal, a few blocks away! settled in a quiet area across from park and major transportation. they had a hop on/ hop off bus stop nearby as tool! their free breakfast was perfect before wandering the city, and staff was friendly and facilities were clean and charming . the fountain in the middle of the are was a nice touch. would stay here again!

Greatest spot to stay before the Best Damn Half! Early continental breakfast for runners. Rooms are nice, bed is comfy and staff is fun!! Check out is noon which is excellent! Streetcar rides directly in front of lobby. I will be back!

Wonderful location. Easy transportation (Hop-On/Hop-Off buses, streetcar, city bus, and taxis literally outside the front door. Easy walk to the hubbub of the French Quarter. Remarkably friendly, helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Would stay there again next time.

I do not have one remotely negative thing to say about this property!! Dorie, Ariel and Ty (Ty's cousin too but I can't recall her name) were beyond wonderful!! For months, I had been planning my guy's 50th birthday. He wanted to celebrate it in New Orleans so I started looking at hotels and came across this gem!! As you can imagine, when inviting friends to join us, everyone was all in - I was up to 20 people joining us at one point. Then the dates kept changing... "let's go longer; let's go these dates instead". Dorie and Ariel were so patient with all my different requests and changes for our rooms...!! Ty was our bartender for the first few nights... Always greeted us with a huge, welcoming smile. Made us amazing drinks and took great care of our birthday crew!! Dorie arranged for a special welcome sign in our room for my guy's birthday!! What a thoughtful surprise!! Our room overlooked the courtyard and pool area. So beautiful!! Each day the bar featured a special "50" drink for my guy... He absolutely loved it. So many little extra touches!!! The breakfast area in bright and sunny with lots of food options. We loved hanging out in the courtyard in the morning before heading out for our adventure and then chilling there in the afternoon before going out at night. We were within walking distance of Bourbon Street and the river... Would not hesitate recommending this place or staying here again. Thank you to all the staff for making my guy's birthday that much more memorable!!

Traveled to NOLA in March for a race. This hotel was lovely. the rooms are small but very clean and had a refrigerator and a small coffee pot although breakfast is included in your stay. The location of this hotel is close to everything in the French quarter. across the street from Louis Armstrong Park. it was costly to park at the hotel $39 dollars a night but you knew your vehicle was safe. They have a pool it was too cold to use in March. The front desk people were so nice and gave out great advice. I would definitely stay here again.

You can't beat the friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms and plentiful breakfast here. We used to stay at another, very historic property in the Quarter--for maybe 20 years--but got tired of the "charm" that turned into dirtiness and shabbiness and also tired of expecting cockroaches with the explanation that New Orleans is "just so old and humid." Delighted to report that we had not one creepy crawly incident in the five days we stayed here, and so sleeping was a whole lot easier. Breakfast is long, hot and abundant, with eggs, some sort of meat,biscuits or potatoes, plus make your own waffles and the usual toast, etc. Everyone went nuts about the oatmeal of all things, which was served with all the fixings. I saw a lot of trekkers and bikers filling up coffee go cups and thermoses with coffee, water and juices for the road without anyone batting an eyelash. The staff just wanted everyone to feel at home. Extremely quiet. We did not hear a single person while we were in our room. If you like the fun of New Orleans but don't want to deal with drunks outside while you are trying to sleep, this is the place. Also very convenient to everything--it was half mile to a mile to everything in the quarter and also to the St. Louis cemeteries.

Close to all the attractions few block walk away. Across the street from L Armstrong park. Good breakfast and very accommodating staff. They have luggage storage if you arrive early so you can enjoy the New Orleans atmosphere.

I just wanted to get on here and give a Big Shout Out to Darlene and Ms. Tracey and their crazy side kick at the front desk that went above and beyond to make our trip very memorable. We had 16 in our group and we had the best of stays at this hotel. Oh yeah, all of the staff were accommodating, the rooms were very clean and the continental breakfast was better than expected!! We will stay again!!1

I am giving this hotel 5 stars after I sat down and thought about what kind of hotel this is. This is not meant to be perfect or high end, it's meant to be mid-range. If I am thinking about mid-range places this ranks high. The staff was courteous, especially the ladies in the morning tending to the breakfast. And speaking of breakfast I was pleased every morning with the breakfast that came for free. It changed daily so I didn't feel like I was eating the same thing every morning to the point where I did not feel like I had to eat out for breakfast for the experience of it being a tourist. My room was very spacious, however the bed was a bit hard and the pillows were too big. The courtyard is quaint and perfect. Bring a sound machine as people are up all hours in this town! You may also want to bring your own pillow. The front desk staff was great to hold our bags after we had time to kill between checkout and our flight and had great information for us.

First time in NOLA so can't say much about other hotels however the staff here made the hotel!' Kim the breakfast supervisor was the most heart warming and spirited person! Welcoming staff went out of their way. Location bit of a walk to bourbon and Frenchman however I enjoyed the peace and quiet after the rowdiness of NOLA

My daughter, granddaughter and I were on a road trip together and this hotel was an excellent choice. Great southern hospitality. Easy walking distance to French Quarter and other attractions. Authentic New Orleans charm.

We stayed in three hotels in NO and this was fine. Its a good dependable choice, on the edge of the French Quarter so is quiet compared to those in the middle. Best things: The reception staff are all brilliant. Very informative and helpful. Couldn't ask for more. The breakfast, especially those little lemon cakes - irresistible and small enough to pretend they're nil calories. Would certainly stay here again.

The hotel is close to everything but it's lacking updating. Upon check inshould of known it was going to be interesting. Booked a king bed but was told we booked a double, and no kings available. After talking back and forth I showed my booking confirmation to the clerk and wow a king bed opened up. Housekeeping was also lacking a lot, room was not really cleaned carpet was not vacuumed once during our stay and I really don't think before our stay since we found items on it from who knows when. Two days in a row we had only one wash cloth had to call for towels. On the last to day our room smelt like rotten cheese, the front desk thought I was nuts until the maintenance guy came up and said wow what's that smell .. he sprayed something and it went away, also then said it's somwthing with the AC once it was sprayed we were good. Don't get me wrong people very friendly but to do it again I would stay someplace else.

I stayed here for a week during Mardi Gras. Price was high, but that is to be expected for the time of the year. The hotel is super nice and the room well a little small was very clean and in really good condition. The room comes with a fridge but no microwave. The court yard and pool area is super nice as well. Each one of the team members I ran into during my time there was super nice. The hotel is located with in a 10 minute walk to everything in the french Quarter with out being in the thick of the French Quarter. The free breakfast was really good each day. If you get a chance to try the rice I would highly recommend it!! The bar closes a little early for the area, and parking can sometimes be a pain since the spaces are small. The only other thing that I noticed that could be improved is each day we had are room cleaned it was very inconsistent depending on who cleaned it. But I would highly recommend this location to anyone who is visiting New Orleans. I will be back every time I come to town. That you Best Western and your New Orleans team for a great experience!!

From the time we checked in until the day we left everything was great. The breakfast has many choices and changes up some each day. All of the staff were great. The general manager Stan was always checking to ensure our stay was going good.

The hotel is conveniently located if you don't have mobility issues. It is two blocks from a trolley stop, which can connect you to all parts of the city. Know however the trolley service is slow. There is a three block walk through the neighbourhood to Bourbon Street. If you go right out the hotel door and take your first right you will go past a small neighbourhood grocery store. One block down on the same side find a postal store in case you want to ship your 3 tons of beads home instead of carrying them. Out the front door and to the left is a laundry service/mat. We found the neighbourhood to be safe but there are tripping hazards everywhere along the route. This portion of the city is gridlock during Mardi Gras so don't plan on using your car going towards B. St. Any walk from here to B. St. if you continue past B. St. will take you to Jackson Square and the Mississippi. The property is older but nice and quiet. The staff is friendly. Clean towels everyday. Breakfast and WiFi are good as well. During Mardi Gras take lots of one dollar bills and change large bills at the front desk.

The location of this hotel was great! Walking distance to downtown area. Small cash only bar in the downstairs lobby. Continental breakfast was good! Only compliant was the pillows were too tall, so they made our necks hurt after two nights. Other than that, it was great for the price. We would stay here again.

Very nice staff, helpful and patient - breakfast included which had plenty of choice and different choices every day. complimentary bottles of water to take out with you and coffee/tea available in bar. The bedrooms are comfortable, with two double beds - but the windows cant open so there is a bit of a musty smell, we left the door ajar at night to let in air. The pillows, similar to most American hotel pillows, are too big for my neck to be comfortable Despite being cold (February) had good swims in the pool Trolley stops close by on N Rampart Street, small convenience stores around the corner

We originally were going to stay one night but ended up staying two because of the condition of this property but more impotantly the great staff that works here. We were given a Senior discount and Rewards member discount. You can park at this property. The breakfat is very good. Good location to see many of the landmarks in New Orleans.

This hotel is ok but I suggest not having rooms 201 to approx 210 as these face the main road. The rooms are poorly glazed and all the road noise and passerby chatter can be clearly heard in these rooms. The hotel has a car park but charge $39 a day per car. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Only one elevator which is very small and can be claustrophobic. Breakfast is basic and much like any other hotel.

Location ok, breakfast ok but a big coachroach in my sons bed when he was sleeping. After seeing this I could not sleep anymore. Just impossible. I guess they are very common here but I'm not used to them.

Walking distance to everything in the French Quarter for half the price. Restaurants, music clubs, bars. Everything. Clean rooms with free breakfast. Friendly staff. Bar open until 10:00 pm. Pool. Health club.

Amazing location, near Armstrong park, french quarter and treme quarter. The rooms are nice and clean. The beds are a little small for two people but still reasonable. The breakfast is good. The only problem is the bathroom: quite small, there is almost no pressure in the shower and the water tastes weird + feels oily when you wash your hands.

The location of this hotel is good, close to the action but not too close so you can still have a good night sleep. The rooms are dated but clean and equip with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended

This hotel is in a very good location, it has the friendliest staff in all of Nola! The ladies at check in were incredible and made life so easy! A+++++ rating! Def recommend. Rooms were clean and the courtyard area was very peaceful! Hotel is a straight shot to bourbon and also Decatur!

I highly recommend this hotel for your french quarter destination. Staff were very helpful and they exceeded our expectations. location is excellent for ease of access to french quarter and many restaurants in the area. also close to hop on hop off bus.

We stayed here prior to our 11 day cruise. We wanted a property that we could access all of the French Quarter. This also as one of the only hotels that provided a full hot breakfast. Rooms are decorated nicely with the New Orleans flair. Bathrooms are very small with no water pressure and drains needed to be fixed. It's expensive to stay in the French Quarter, so I feel like it fit our needs. I would recommend this property. Would be nice to have queen beds, and a little less furniture in the rooms, it felt crowded.

What a pleasure it was to get off a long flight and be greeted by two very funny front desk clerks, that had smiles that would light up the darkest nights. Much thanks to Stanley Mascair, the GM of the Hotel. He was working his magic asking if we needed anything and helping us with questions we had. His staff was friendly, knowlegable and helpful. The courtyard was a special place for us as my wife and I smoke, this courtyard has a designated smoking area and is clean and nestled with a water fountain to soothe away your problems. We used the trolley to head downtown but the Bourbon St, experiance is so close only a few blocks away. Rooms at spacious and quiet, elevator service to the 2nd and 3rd floors is great and the food at breakfast is fantastic. Did not try out the pool but was clean and inviting, maybe on my next stay. You are kitty corner to Loius Armstrong park and there is even a local store a block away to buy groceries if needed. All in all great location and great staff made this trip amazing.

My room had low water pressure. Bathrooms are small. My son's room was near the hot water heaters and you could hear them boiling all night long. Ask to move rooms but none were available. Breakfast was available not not much fruit. But included in the price.

From Vancouver island, here for a few days, Darlene is great at the front desk. Clean hotel with breakfast included very nice. Good location busses and walking distance to many of the hot spots around the city,

Decent breakfast with choices , able to walk anywhere in French quarter, a bit far to walk to Frenchman street but not a killer. Close walk to hop on bus, local transit. Taxis generally out front of hotel all the time. Sweet attentive staff. Good beds and pillows. Only "complaint" is that the rooms are dark. We were able to check in early (1115am) and were upgraded to a garden front room, both for free which was so nice.

What a wonderful stay. What a wonderful world. The room was pretty, clean, and large with two queen beds. The pristine bathroom and toilet were separated from the sink. It overlooked a beautiful courtyard with trees and flowers. The hotel was across from the Louis Armstrong Park. We walked over to look at it. The Mahalia Jackson auditorium was inside the park. In order to get to the French Quarters, we turned either left or right as we exited the hotel and walked down the side streets. We were there within five minutes. During the night, stick to well-lit streets like St. Ann or take an Uber or taxi back. In the day time, we felt very comfortable on the streets to and from the French Quarters. In short, the hotel is not right on top of the French Quarters but on the edge of it. Parking was expensive at about $39 per night. However, it was safe inside an enclosed area attached to the hotel. We easily went to the car to retrieve or put things back during our stay. We left the car in the garage during our stay. Instead, we walked everywhere. The interior courtyard was beautiful. It had a pool, fountain, chairs, and tables. It invited one to sit and linger. Breakfast was excellent. There were lots of things to eat. They replenished continually. The lovely ladies worked very hard. They alerted us that breakfast was ending soon and to get refills before they cleared. How thoughtful! Tracie with 36 years of service deserved applause for efficiency and competence. She took care of us with charm and expertise at the front desk. This was a lovely Best Western. What a wonderful stay. Thank you, folks.

This hotel was a bit of a disappointment. The rooms are really dark, and quite small, considering they can hold up to four people in a room. The bathrooms are small, and the windows look out onto the corridor gangway, so people can see straight in if you have it open. If you have it closed, there is no natural light in the room (although even opening the window doesn't help that all the time either). Very good location though, close to everything you would want to see. The breakfast is really good at the hotel, and the staff are friendly. Our room wasn't cleaned one day, and there was no reason why not, just that it was missed off, and no one was able to replenish anything until the next day, which was unfortunate, but other than that, there were no problems. They also give bottles of water for free at reception whenever you need some which is a nice touch.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while celebrating her birthday. After looking into several hotels in the French Quarter, we picked this one and it was a very good decision. The hotel itself is about 4 blocks from Bourbon St. Close enough for walking, not too close for the loud evenings/nights that were going on. We flew in, didn't bring our car, especially since parking at the hotel cost $39 per day. No car was needed as we spent our time touring Bourbon St. And the trolley on the street in front could take you anywhere else you needed to go for $3 a day. There were a couple of local stores within blocks that had liquor, food, etc. Restaurants everywhere, from cafes to high end establishments. All types of shops to visit were also nearby. The hotel itself was great; the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Nice quiet bar inside and a great complimentary breakfast served daily with a change in the menu every morning. Food was very good. The king bed room we had was exceptionally clean, updated, included a 'fridge but no microwave, but one was available in the large dining area. The modern glass door shower was great. We couldn't think of anything else that could have been better. The hotel General Manager, Stanley Mascair, took our picture and was a pleasure to talk with. We highly recommend a stay at this hotel to others that may visit this area. This is probably the best of the Best Westerns that we have stayed at over the years, and I know we will be staying here again when we return to visit New Orleans in the future.

We were in one of the courtyard view rooms. I did not notice any noise - but it was January and there wasn't any activity around the pool. The women who were working the front desk were possibly the most helpful hotel employees I've ever encountered. We were there for 4 days and they consistently offered helpful tips about things to do, places to eat and how to get around. Right on the trolley line and not far from the river at all. We walked all over and it was great. Clean room, hot breakfast every day - and they switched it up a little. There were even fresh cinnamon rolls on Sunday!

We stayed two nights and everyone from reception to bar staff and the cleaners were totally professional and kind to us. We are already making plans to come back next year. The location is so close to everything, you can walk or take the trolley. Great experience overall.

It was a nice hotel and he room was neat and clean. We were close to the elevator which we could hear and some noise that it would make not extremely loud but I hear things. The breakfast was good and area was clean. I would stay again when going back.

Started a roadtrip in New Orleans for my 40th birthday and had picked this hotel for the occasion. The hotel was at a really good location. Close to almost everything but still quiet when wanting some relaxation. I only wish it had been warmer outside so that we could have tried the pool as the courtyard where it was located had a nice vibe to it. When making the reservation, I had booked rooms that would accomadate 4 adults per room. But the beds were quite small (small than expected)... too small for friends too share at least. Except for that we really liked the room and house keeping was good. The breakfast area was nice and the selection was ok but the coffee was really good though. I few more healthy options would have been really nice. Like fresh cut fruit or some fresh sallad to go with all the eggs and bacon. And as always, stop using all single use plastic items. We visited as a group of friends, but if ever visiting New Orleans with my family I would absolutley consider this hotel.

We were fortunate to find an incredibly beautiful courtyard hotel an easy walk from Bourbon Street and other delightful sights in this famous city. The hotel itself was very clean, in excellent condition, well run... and it served a huge, delicious breakfast!!! We were greeted by the manager as we drove into the hotel's parking garage, and not only was he welcoming and friendly to his guests, his interactions with ALL his employees throughout the hotel gave them a positive role model to follow - making them all without doubt the most friendly and courteous hotel staff I've ever witnessed. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to NOLA!!!

We were looking for a nice hotel that was reasonably priced and convenient to the French Quarter. We found it! The staff was always smiling and were genuine in welcoming us to NOLA. We loved the inside court yard with pool. So pretty to see on our third floor room upon entering and leaving. Loved the easy walking access to the Ghost Tours with Randy as our guide and ease in boarding a bus to a Swamp Tour an hour away. So many restaurants to choose in close proximity will satisfy anyone's dining preferences. We were pleasantly given water and snacks on our arrival, thank you! I think we reached our quota of stays with Best Western Plus. Ubers were plentiful in the area and the local FBO for those flying privately was so friendly and accomodating. We loved celebrating our daughter's 30th Birthday in New Orleans with friends. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful Hotel right on the edge of the French Quarter but in the middle of everything! The nicest staff. The best breakfast So helpful with setting up tours and just 3 blocks away from the ‘hop on, hop off' bus. Even the Lyft drivers breeze in and out easily. I was going to stay in an Airbnb in the garden district but stayed 2 extra days here instead. My second visit to this hotel and I will never stay anywhere else.

It's not glamourous but did the job. The bed was very, very comfortable. Location was great. Breakfast in our opinion ended too early for New Orleans. Reception was professional. Parking was offered but we didn't need it. It wouldn't be an hotel were I wanted to spend time on it as it was outdated for my taste but for what we needed, which was a room quiet to rest, worked perfectly.

Okay, the price was very attractive. Then we got there and the service was so wonderful we felt like family. We were there 5 days. Yes the furniture is worn some which made it feel warm and comfortable. Breakfast there was unbelievable every morning. It was clean and great for walking to and from the river side activities.

First of all, the Front desk at this hotel is staffed with a couple of superior women that will do whatever it takes to make sure your stay is the best it can be. We had a group of 4 rooms and they made check-in easy and housed all of our bags until rooms were ready. We were able to check-out an hour late and they provided all types of information about the area. We were there during wet weather and so the courtyard of this hotel wasn't usable. Also, it seemed that the carpet in our room felt damp. Maybe it was the concrete floor underneath. The rooms were dark brown and kind of dreary and dated. The elevator was the size of a small closet and fit about two people. The included breakfast was better than most, with local specialties, like dirty rice and sliced sausage on one day. There were lots of options. There is a bar in the lobby that was quite good. While the hotel rooms didn't delight us, there were many other aspects that did, like the location, people that worked there, the breakfast and the bar.

We were there for New Years Eve. Location and price were great. Only 3 blocks from Bourbon St. Easy walk to everthing. We had a minor hiccup when my wife and I were booked into a room with 2 double beds. It was corrected in a timely manner. Street noise was a bit loud but, by the time we got back in the room from the celebrations, it was easy to sleep. I liked the street view. Hotel is directly across from Armstrong Park. The hot breakfast was great every morning. Eggs, waffles, fruit etc. A different meat every day, Sausage, links, bacon, along with hot coffee and assorted juices. All of the employees we encountered were extra nice and very helpful. I would definitely stay again

Comfortable rooms. Good location, not noisy. Fine amenities. But the staff was wonderful! Tracy and Ariel helped us with directions, early departure arrangements (illness, not the hotel or NOLA). They really made it. We would go back there, for sure.

I stayed for three nights as a change from the “historic” hotel I have stayed at that was historic but on my last visit gave me a very cramped room that was for supposedly for two people. This time I opted for something more modern with more room. The staff here was excellent. CC didn't work on my tv, and someone came right away to fix it. Suggestions for rooms: no luggage rack and no light in or near the closet, so you better memorize what you hang there. I had a table and a desk, each with a chair, and there was a refrigerator. The breakfast was adequate although I didn't care much for the items offered: oatmeal, make-it-yourself waffles, scrambled eggs, hot meat of varying types, different items to toast, one morning biscuits and gravy. Being at the extreme end of the Quarter, you can expect to do some walking. There are a few places to eat fairly close. The Rampart streetcar line does offer a transportation alternative.

Upon arrival the hotel had a very warm and quaint feel,the front desk staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.Our room faced over the courtyard which was very pretty.The lighting in the room was very dull.Some brighter lighting would benefit.Nice lobby bar a bit pricey when not happy hour.Continetal breakfast was very good a nice variety.Location is great close to everything and across from a beautiful park.Service was good the pillows in the room were nice and fluffy and as I prefer a flatter one housekeeping delievered promptly with extra blankets.Overall a super hotel with outstanding staff and the manager said more than once if there is anything else we needed to please ask,That goes a long way.If we return to NOLA this is our go to place.As we departed early in the morning 4am as we waited outside for our cab the fornt desk lady brought us a couple of waters,small things like that go a long way.
