Best Western Premier Milano Palace Hotel

New, elegant, quite and very clean. I like the modern style, light colors and precious materials and decorations. Staff is very helpful, the are different parking opportunities paying or for free in the street. Good breakfast and it is located nearby the center and the train station.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. While the rooms are small, the hotel as a whole has tasteful decoration and free on--street parking. We loved its proximity to beautiful Renaissance buildings in the city center. The staff is, on the whole, helpful and efficient.

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst i visited my friends in Modena, good location, 10 mins walk down into the town, parking on the street, hotel gives you a voucher so you don't have to pay which is convenient, rooms very good, all modern and updated, nice bar and dinning room, good selection for breakfast. Has an affiliated very nice restaurant next door as well. Has a 'small' spa with sauna and jacuzzi but no pool, highly recommend the hotel if visiting Modena.

Stylish an very recent hotel in the heart of Modena halfway between MEF Museo Enzo Ferrari and the Duomo. Clean room and luxury bathroom. Staff always friendly and very helpful. Excellent parking facilities on the premises (at extra charge). Ideal both for a business trip or a family holiday.

Wonderful location, within 10 minutes walking from key sites in town including the train and bus stations. Clean and updated modern rooms. Spacious bathroom for a standard sized European hotel room (meaning the room itself is quite small) Great beds and pillows Friendly staff.

Why 5 Stars?First the age and decoration, tasteful, modern, new, attentive.Second- Staff, booked into the hotel for 14 nights, biz plan changed only stayed 9 nights. Everyone of the staff I interfaced with were superb.Third- Location. Short walk into the heart of Modena and yet easy to find, park and feel comfortable at.Con-The Executive room with couch is not realy a couch. It's a single bed. Asked if the could remove it to give me some more suitcase room. No go :-( . So that is the only negative thing can say.Would I stay there again? YES. Recommend to others? YES

Milano Palace is an excellent and very clean hotel. The rooms were big, clean and cool. The bed is not soft and big Rick hard, just perfect, nice big showers in the bathroom. The hotel is very close to the train station and a 10 min stroll to the central piazza.

This hotel was nicely situated, and very new and modern. The room design was chic and high-tech. My only advice is that it is good for the single traveler or perhaps a couple, but the rooms were very small. Breakfast buffet in the morning was well-supplied with good variety. The baked goods were especially good quality. I would likely stay here again.

Only complaint was shower door design. Super clean nice rooms. air conditioner strong enough for super hot summer days. Close to center, close to Ferrari museum Modena. Parking available (reserve before)

Location: centrally located, and a 5' walk away from the main railway station of Modena; from the hotel it's a short stroll to towards the main sights in town Premises: clearly recently refurbished, inside with a very new look and feel and nice design Service: staff is friendly and helpful (not a given in Italy) Breakfast: fairly good choice of products, though no fresh juices, coffee from a self-served machine Room 504: not very spacious, but clean and efficient; not noisy despite it facing the street; the bathroom was also not that big but everything was in good working order. The Premier Milano Palace was just that. The interior of the property is newly refinished with a lot of nice tile and marble work. All the staff were attentive and friendly. My room was not large but was well appointed and totally adequate. The BW Premier Palace was a great value for such a nicely finished hotel in a good location on the edge of the Center.

Everything about this hotel was pleasant. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to see in Modena. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We found this hotel and its staff to be a highlight of our recent trip to France and Italy. The ladies at the front desk welcomed us and gave us friendly, informative information that made our holiday memorable. They helped with restaurant recommendations, vinegar tasting and city navigation. They could not have been nicer and more helpful. Additionally, the entire staff, from breakfast to parking bicycles, seemed to care above and beyond for everything in the hotel to be perfect.

I stay here when I'm working in Modena (already booked for next week!). The hotel has A/C that works which is something important if you are visiting in the summer. Many hotels in the area seem to have A/C that does not work. Breakfast is good although I wish they would cook the bacon crisper. It's typical for europe though. Don't get a fizzy wine at the bar unless they are opening the bottle. They don't turn their Proseco over fast enough and you can get it "still" which is oddly undrinkable. Location is good for Modena center. There is a room with some exercise equipment. I've never used the SPA.

Amazing upscale hotel perfectly located in the quaint and beautiful city of Modena. Ideal for both business and leisure. Walking distance to the train even with lots of luggage, and also walking distance to everything else!

The hotel is very well located, convenient to the train station and the old city. Beautifully appointed property, modern, nice decor, well maintained and extremely clean. The staff is extremely helpful and would do anything to please. I unfortunately can't remember the name of the check-in gentleman who helped us find a new room when the one we had wasn't to our satisfaction, he was the most helpful person and genuinely concerned, kudos to him he made our stay. Also, the young guy who helps with the luggage was outstanding. Breakfast is also excellent. The issue with this property was the original room that we had, we were in a junior suite and for the price paid we found that room to be horrible and dismal. It was located right above the service area of the hotel and the next door restaurant looking at the dark inside yard. The room itself was poorly designed. The hotel was full but they managed to relocate us to an executive room for the 2 remaining days of our stay and we were fully satisfied with that room type. It was modern, nicely decorated and comfortable. If we return to Modena we would stay at this property again.

A truly lovely hotel, 5 minutes walk from the Railway Station, the Enzo Ferrari Museum and the main town - couldn't be more convenient. It seems to be relatively new or recently refurbished but everything was clean and fresh. The rooms were perfectly appointed with everything you could need including a hairdryer that actually worked! It also had a large walk in shower with a choice of shower heads. We didn't eat here but had cocktails each evening. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A/C also worked well when needed.

This is a modern property that is very well maintained and well located. Nice location, especially to be outside the old City. This is a modern property that is very well maintained and well located. We had a few problems at check-in, but once that was sorted out, our room was large, comfortable and quiet, with a really nice bathroom. We took advantage of the bar area outside and it was fun watching the people go by on the boulevard and we ate dinner at the restaurant next door which was delicious. The breakfast wasn't anything special, but it is available. It is a very easy walk to the center of Modena and there are lots of shops and cafes and an open air market with lots of sweets and fruit. The hotel gave us a recommendation for a visit to the Acetaia Giuseppe Giusti to see how balsamic vinegar is made and we really enjoyed the tour. (only about an hour) We also went to the Ferrari museum which is only minutes from the hotel. Overall, a very positive experience at this hotel.

Nice location, especially to be just outside the old City. Easy to get to by car and five minutes walk to the walking district with tons of restaurants and shopping. Parking is free along the street in front of the hotel BUT spaces are limited. I got home after work each day at 5pm and found a spot, but if you arrive later, you might have to pay EURO 20 for parking. Clean, modern hotel with really friendly, helpful and responsive staff. Breakfast was decent and inexpensive. Air conditioning shut off each day and had to be turned on by the front desk. This got a little annoying but once on it worked. The in-room coffee maker was VERY confusing and it took lots of conversations to realize that you need coffee PODS (and there were none). I'd recommend multi-lingual instructions for this in the room (and coffee PODS!). Room itself was super clean and comfortable. WIFI was excellent, great for business travelers.

The hotel was perfectly located to explore the city: close to the train station and few minutes walk to the old town. The breakfast was nice, the room clean and spacious. The bathroom had a window - a nice touch. Nicely decorated lobby. Friendly staff.

We stayed here for 3 nights in April, service was warm and attentive. Our room was nicely decorated, spotless and spacious with aircon which was well needed!! Location was perfect, walking distance to all attractions in Modena. Great add on was the free shuttle service to the train station. Would highly recommend.

We decided to walk the few hundred metres from the train station, but this proved challenging. Google directed us down a very cobbled street, which was hard work for our wheeled cases. After our arrival, we discovered the hotel's free shuttle service to/from the train station. We recommend asking for this for your arrival and departure. Check in was quick and we gladly accepted the porter service. The hotel and our room were decorated in a modern, contemporary style with tiled floors throughout. A highlight was a large, lit picture of a vintage Maserati above the bed. I guess each room would have a similar picture, with varying marques in each room. Technology was evident, with fancy doorbell/swipe card access and in-room controls. However, this technology did not always work. After we arrived back in our room, we could not get the Aircon going. The solution was to phone the front desk who then switched it on remotely. This happened three times. Another occurrence was a fire alarm at 1:00 in the morning. It was quickly assessed as a false one, apparently caused by dust in the detectors. Much like Basil, the night manager was a little flustered, but explained the issue clearly. The following morning, no mention was made of this occurrence by other staff, so we suspect this is a routine occurrence. Breakfast was reasonable with a good selection for €8-00 per person. Coffee was excellent. Room service dinner was quite limited, so we had dinner in ‘Damadeo,' the restaurant next door, which was traditional Italian. More on our room: the bed was comfortable with firmer pillows, which suited us. The bathroom had limited shelf space, with only hooks for hanging towels. The TV was quite large and modern with a limited selection of English channels. As usual, we used the room safe. However, we were locked out when the batteries failed. These were replaced with old batteries, which continued showing “Low Batt.” It managed to keep working, but did not fill us with confidence. It was a little disturbing (but not surprising) how easily staff could open the safe using their own code. Our last ‘Fawlty Towers' occurrence was when using an iron. The circuit breaker kept tripping no matter which powerpoint we plugged it into. Draw your own conclusions as to why, but it was annoying. Staff were friendly and accommodating. In fact, the hotel compendium made mention to ‘ask for anything to help your stay be more like home.' We did annoy them a few times, and nothing seemed a problem for them. An enjoyable stay for a few days in Modena.

Stayed here for business. The hotel is comfortable and location is good. The hotel is located just outside the old centre so you are in the centre of Modena within a 10 minute walk. Rooms are a bit on the small side but the bed is comfortable and the bathroom are modern and clean Breakfast is mostly Italian style ( heavy on the cakes and sweet options) but has a couple of hot dishes as well. Hotel is a bit on the expensive side but based on the hotel options available in Modena it is good value. I would stay here again if in the Modena area.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Room was very good (not that big, but we are talking Europe here). Breakfast was good enough (standard), with lots of light from windows and bright color furniture which I like to start the day. 7 min walking to the train station (or take a cab). I was there for business, so sadly no time for the turkish bath.I definitly recomend this place!

We arrived to Modena with no accomodation plans and walked to ask if the had last minute deals at the reception - the staff was very friendly and made sure to offer me a good deal (even compared to last minute deal apps). I had stayed at the Best Western Liberta in Modena before and there is no way to compare these two hotels. The location was very quiet, about 5-10 minutes away from the main square, the hotel is designed beautifully and we stayed at the executive room which was spacious, tastefully designed and with a great bed. Breakfast was nice as well. A great stay to a wonderful city.

The location is perfect for walks and dinning in the evening in the center of Modena. The staff is very friendly and helpful in any way and made my stay very pleasant. The staff at the reception was very attentive in helping with the storage of my luggage during my last day in the city. The rooms are a bit small, but very comfortable, modern and clean. The breakfast was my highlight! Great breakfast buffet.

I will strongly recommend staying in this hotel. Overall experience was very good. We were greeted on arrival by very charming reception staff who answered all our questions & offered to some suggestions regarding sightseeing. They sent us on a tour of a Balsamic vinegar producer which was excellent. The room amenities are top notch for a 4 stars, only downside was to have two singles instead of a double but not a big deal. Room was quiet & clean. We did not try the SPA & breakfast. The hotel is 10 min from the city center, 10 min from the station & 5 min from the Enzo Ferrari. museum.

This hotel is located a comfortable walk from the historic centre of Modena. The rooms are modern and work well and room size is adequate. The service was efficient and friendly and they include tea and coffee facilities in your room.

I used to visit Modena since 2008 so I have tried almost every occasion to find a good hotel to stay. BW Milano Palace is definitely the best one in the city due to its location, superb room comfort (which are all new and modern) and breakfast level. The only minus is that, there are lots of parking area around but all of them are occupied 24h in some way. So if you are travelling with your car, either you have to be very lucky to find an available place or pay €20/day to the hotel for valet services.

No flaws what so ever. very clean and feels like everything is new. standard rooms are not big, but adequate. breakfast is ok with only scrambled eggs and bacon as hot dishes. 10 minutes walking to city center! staff is great and helpful.

The name was initially misleading making me think this hotel is in Milan (I know, I was trying to do 50 things at once and didn't take my time) and I needed to be in Modena. The hotel is on a nice boulevard lined with beautiful, older buildings and is close to the center of town.

The room is superb, very comfortable and very quiet. The people at the hotel were very attentive, helpful and efficient. O restaurante quase ao lado, excelente, preço justo e comida deliciosa. The city is small, but beauty.

Spent two nights whilst visiting the various car museums and factory's in the vicinity. Hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hotel has recently been refurbished to a high standard and is in a great location.

There's not too much to say other than I loved this hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, it had a nice mix of technology and elegance. Nothing was ever done, everything was just right, and the location is in perfect walking distance to shops and dining in downtown Modena. I would stay at this hotel over and over again if traveling in the area - top notch experience.

location is fantastic, very closed to downtown where various shops (and restaurants) are available; 5 min walking from train station. Room is clean, staff is nice and warm. Try the grand piano at the bat, it is "pitched" nicely. I love this hotel.

This is hotel is one of the best kept secrets in Modena. I've traveled there numerous times and had never ventured to this hotel. What a pleasant surprise. Boutique like with great service. The front desk staff is cordial and helpful. It is centrally located and by that I mean; you have to walk for about 10 minutes to reach the historic sites of Modena. But well worth it. The rooms are well appointed and from all indications; were recently remodeled with modern amenities not the least of which is a full size bath/shower. The beds are very comfortable and the level of quiet is cause for celebration. The morning breakfast is served in an elegant contemporary setting and includes all you could desire for breakfast. Parking is available for 20 euro a night and they valet. All in all, you can't go wrong with this hotel. Modena is a historic city with much to see, including the Ferrari museum and other important sights. Parma and Bologna are not far away. Moreover, its the hometown of Luciano Pavarotti. He is buried in Modena and never went far from the city when he was performing around the globe.

Very comfortable stay, friendly English speaking staff. Breakfast options limited but decent. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Vicinity to city center makes it easy to go out for dinnner and shopping.

The hotel was very nice and a convenient short walk to the vibrant downtown area, though you wouldn't know it when you stand in front of the hotel! To get to the downtown area, you have to walk around an oppressive-looking building which blocks the view of the beautiful, pedestrian-friendly old town.

This hotel is very conveniently located for walking to the Modena city center with its many shops, restaurants etc. They offer on-street parking for free, but this works only if there happens to be a space available nearby. So, we opted for the 20 Euro/day salt parking, which worked well. Our room was very small and the shower drain was partially clogged. Also, the shower extends most of the way across one end of the bath, but there is a gap of about 12" between the end of the shower and a wall, which is completely wasted space; the small stool in the bath was too big to fit there. The shower could have been bigger. The drain for the handbasin also seems to be partially clogged.There was no dispenser for facial tissue (e.g., Kleenex) in the bath or the room. We were unable to get the HVAC to work well; the room was too warm even though it was below 60F outside overnight. One good feature - our room was very quiet. Breakfast was OK, but very simple. The front desk staff was very polite.

We stayed one night for visiting the old city. The hotel is really nice: very near to the city center, you can park for free on the street, the breakfast is very good, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are modern and also nice. Stay there.

The hotel is located on the inside of a large courtyard, removed from the street and associated noise. The rooms and lobbies were nicely appointed, staff was very friendly, price was reasonable. A great find.

Just a block away from the Duomo and major shopping strip. Staff were extremely friendly we even got an upgrade to a Junior Suite at no cost. It was very busy at ground level with conferences going on and breakfast was very crowded. Food selection was very good.

Spent a night here with my husband to see the Ferrari museums. It is located very close to the Enzo Ferrari museum - about 5 minute walk. Everything else is also quite close, within walking distance. Breakfast was lovely lots of variety and fresh fruit. We had already been upgraded to a junior suite prior to check in which was great - the room was clean and decorated nicely. Comfortable bed and room enough space for my husband and I. Would recommend to others.

There was not too much accommodation available in Modena when I was trying to find somewhere to stay. I'm not a big fan of Best Westerns so when I saw this I almost immediately passed it by. But a look at the pictures and the reviews paints a different picture. I can only assume that this is a property/company that Best Western bought. The quality here is very good. The rooms are a little tight, but the beds comfortable, the bathtub had jets(!), and everything is very modern. The staff was friendly and helpful and it's only about a ten minute walk into the center of Modena. As an advantage to the location, parking is easy to find near this hotel and they will validate it while you stay there (they also do underground parking for a fee). Another great thing about the location is that it's basically across the road from the Ferrari museum.

Spent a night here with friends, to visit the city centre and Enzo Ferrari museum. The hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways: great rooms and public areas, charming and able staff, v.good breakfast. I'd stay here again, without doubt.

This hotel is not located close to the restaurants and city attractions but these are only 5 to 10 minutes away. We drove to the hotel and the valet took our keys and parked the car for us. A huge star for that!! The reception staff were some of the most efficient and friendly we encounter on this trip. Another star for that. The Hotel was clean but house keeping could dust better at the lower level. Not all bathroom items had been replaced or updated from previous occupants. The room phone wouldn't work but was immediately replaced. We got the feeling that the Hotel was settling down after a refurb and can only get better. The reception did not know that some restaurants are closed on Mondays and send us to a closed one.

In advance the hotel stated there was free parking on the street. When we arrived I saw that they were all metered spaces, so how could they be free. Well upon check in they give you a card to place on your dashboard so you don't have to pay the meter fee. One caution though, it is a busy street and it may take a while to find a space. We were lucky, each day we got a space quickly. The rooms are small, but they are thoroughly modern and very clean. We were given an interior room with no view. I went to the desk and asked for a front room. Apparently many guests don't like the noise from the street. It was barely noticeable to us, and we much preferred to have some view. The staff are all friendly and very accommodating. If you are driving, the hotel is as close as you can get to the ZTL. The breakfast was good, with a fair amount of choices.

The hotel is located at the edge of the historic downtown area, the heart of which is only a few walking minutes away. The rooms are not large, but spacious enough, clean, nicely and trendy-modern equipped with a friendly comfortable bathroom. The reception is in decent command of the English language , very helpful and patient. Breakfast is Italian style with a lot of sweets. The hotel does not have a parking lot, so you have to leave your car on the street, if you are lucky enough to find a spot. If you want to explore the historic sites and the city center this hotel could be your place.

Wonderful hotel, in every way. One of the best ever! Although it was a bit pricier than others on our trip, it was still very reasonable. Great, helpful staff, a lovely room and close to everything, including the railway station. We want to go to Modena again, and will defitely stay here.

Nice shiny lobby , reasonable location and pleasant team . Then we got to the room , a junior suite with gold coloured versacesque motiffs . Small cell like seating area and less light than a Yorkshire coal mine. When the shutters are open you get a nice view of the fire escape. Deep breath....it was like an oven and air con wasnt doing anything...a trip downstairs t0o find Air con is controlled by reception who put it on for me. Cup of tea....only one cup , one glass and another trip downstairs . Some of the happiest smiley looking ineffecient people Ive seen for a while. They need to try harder

Don't be fooled by 'Best Western', Milano Palace Hotel is an excellent 4 star hotel and worthy of a visit. This is my third stay at the hotel with the last as host of a party of 20, The Hotel could not do more to make the last stay run smoothly ( they even sent umbrellas into Modena centre for my guests as it was unexpectedly raining!). The hotel, including bedrooms, has been recently refurbished and has a bright, clean and fresh feel. Every member of the staff are lovely, helpful and polite - well done to the General Manager Michele. The historic centre of Modena is a short walk away and deserves the UNESCO award and offers lots of choice for eating and shopping. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly go back.

The ideal place to stay if you plan to visit the Casa Enzo Ferrari museum since it's conviniently located some 5 blocks from the museum and 3 from the Modena train station. The hotel is very modern. Nicely decorated. Spacious rooms. Confortable beds and pillows. Bathrooms are huge with shower and bathtub (in my case). Breakfast is quite complete at a reasonable cost. It also walking distance from the city center. I strongly recommend this hotel. Note: it does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner. There is a (very good and expensive) restaurant next door but sometimes you have to make a reservation.

It's a bit more expansive, but it's worth. I have seen so many hotels in Italy and often it's OK, but it realy is no fun. This hotel is just fantasic and you can see the difference in the details. The staff is very kind and it's very clean and calm. We will come again.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. So beautiful, very clean rooms and the staff were wonderful and nothing was to much trouble. I was only able to stay in Modena for one night but I will be returning and I will be staying here again. The breakfast was lovely and the breakfast room was very well laid out with lots of choice. A real 5 star experience.

You could understand being a bit concerned by the "Best Western" In the name but you are in for a very pleasant surprise. Very comfortable and clean rooms with nice staff and good breakfast. The hotel has been modernised quite recently. Very well located in Modena for access to the town and the city is great for walking around. Would definitely recommend.

Sadly we were only at the hotel for less than 48 hours! Ideal location in Modena, and super comfort and staff! Parking our rental car was no problem, and breakfast was ideal. Modena is a great city for walking.

When you think Best Western as an American, you think budget rundown hotels/motel. This couldnt be further from the truth about this hotel. It is chic classy and top of the line. Guest parking can be found on the street in front of the hotel and it is only about a 5 minute walk drom the historic center of Modena. When we got there our AC in the room didnt work and the front desk handled it to perfection. He moved us to a larger room near us immediately and was very engaging and caring. This is a no brainer.

Clean, modern very close to city centre, hotel staff friendly & helpful. Also very close to the railway station with easy travel to Parma, Bologna Ravenna & Florence .What more could you want, when we return to Modena this will be the place we will stay. Excellent

I avoid the Best Western brand of hotels as I have found them to be poor quality. I tried to find other hotels in Modena but took the risk of a BW. The Milano Palace hotel was excellent, just drop the Best Western brand!

We had a wonderful time in Modena at the BW Premier Milano Palace. The hotel is spotless, the rooms and beds excellent, and the breakfast good. The staff were always cheery and helpful, and Domenico in particular helped us with any questions we had and made a great suggestion and booking for evening dining (Antica Trattoria Cervetta - typical Modena cuisine). The centre of Modena, like Bologna, is really beautiful and Modena is a lot quieter. We visited Villa San Donnino for a balsamic vinegar (Acetaia) tour. Wonderful, free and very interesting. Definitely worth a trip. Also visited the Enzo Ferrari Museum. We are not especially interested in cars, but this was terrific - a perfect combination of art, design and engineering. A really good story too about the central role of Modena in design for Alfa, Ferrari and Maserati. Even had a fantastic restaurant - as good as any museum food and inexpensive.

All around this place was a great pick for our stay in Modena. We loved the location to the train station, Ferarri museum and old town area. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Modena

Nice hotel , very modern and stylish , staff is very nice Breakfast is poor (didn't like it ) and no compliment water in the room ,small bottle of water at the mini bar is-2,5 euro , while 1,5 liter at a store outside costs only 80 cent

Due to the Vasco Rossi concert in Modena, and because I left my book so late I think I came upon the last room available in Modena on the 1 July weekend. The hotel is well located - five minutes on foot from the station, the Enzo Ferrari Museum and the centre of the historic town. Hard to beat really. In my experience Best Western offers comfortable hotels - having stayed in Carcassonne (spectacular hotel) and in St Germain des Pres. The hotel is spotless, the staff excellent and the breakfast buffet very good. The adjacent restaurant offers a discount to hotel guests for dinner. The staff there are charming too. Please though beware that a standard room is minuscule.... like in a London hotel ... where it would just about be impossible for two adults and two suitcases to fit into a room. I think I paid a premium price too - but accept that was due to demand caused by the 200,000 people said to be in Modena for Vasco's concern. Would I stay again ? Yes; but I would carefully check the size of the room first.

Got off the train in Modena on a hot/humid day. Took a very short cab ride to the hotel(turns out that the hotel provides free shuttle service to the station). What a balm to enter the lobby of this beautiful, modern, air conditioned place. People at the front desk were perfect. Warm in their greeting - efficient with check in - a font of information about how to get where, and things to see. Turns out - unknown to us - that we had arrived two days before the Italian superstar "Vasco" was giving a free outdoor concert where it was expected that 200,000 people would show up, and parts of the city would be shut down. Luckily, our plans had us leaving before then. Once up in our room(#110), the magic continued. Comfortable sitting area leading into the bedroom then a large closed off bathroom with plenty of toiletries and both power jet bath and a full shower. The bed was very sleep producing. Large screen TV. Free breakfast with lots of choices. Good work Best Western

The hotel is excellent, everything is new, its location is nice, the streets are safe as far I could notice, all the staffs are helpful, the breakfast is very good. Unfortunately I could use the rest of the hotel facilities due my stay only for business. I would recommend it for others.

Staying in Modena one night I wanted a central hotel, so checked in here! Lovely quiet quaint hotel, arrived to the reception and a polite greeting - during check in the phone rang at reception and the young guy answered the call, but rather than asking them to hold... I was left waiting 5 minutes whilst he dealt with the call... Why do receptionist do this? Annoys me!!! Rooms lovely and clean, very modern and good strong WiFi in the rooms, bed comfortable shower room perfect... And a 10 minute walk to down town. Would recommend ...

Very nice a quiet place. Convenient location for downtown visits. The hotel is clean, the rooms and the bathroom are fine. Enough towels in the bathroom, seldom in Italy. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is extra, but the price reasonable. The internet is OK, though the access cumbersome you have to login when you believe you already are...

do not be misled by the word "palace" in the hotel's name. room was small, facility and breakfast at the place was all very standard and basic. it took some 20 mins to walk to town centre. the street where the hotel sits was pretty quiet. staff was not too helpful, when we asked staff on any festive events happened for the weekend, answer was "I dont know.", overall, it was a very self-helped hotel, do not expect too much. visit them for only short stay. as the tiny hotel room imposed unpleasant feeling, you not even have enough space to open up your suitcases!

This was a very nice and quiet hotel that surprised us. Honestly, being a Best Western I did not have high hopes. But, the hotel was nicely decorated with very spacious suites. The breakfast buffet was lovely and served by an attentive staff. The location is perfect in Modena. Highly recommended!

We chose this hotel as we wanted an American style hotel after staying the previous night in a room with a smaller, harder bed and assumed that Best Western being an American chain would provide that. The room was extremely tiny, incredibly hot even though we asked the management to lower the heat but were told that it was centrally controlled. The bathroom was also tiny and not well appointed. Would not recommend a stay there if other options are available. The parking garage as very convenient.

Excellent cleaning, good breakfast and a very good team. We took 5 nights and we are very satisfied really good place - we will go back their. Special congratulations to Iulian! He was very helpful and very kind.

The crew did their job beyond expectation. Every demand was fulfilled in a very satisfactory manner. You can ask for Iulian for almost every information or small favor. Everything in this hotel is brand new. Plus the position of the hotel is in the middle of an area defined by: City Centre, Train Station, Ferrari, Maserati Museum, park. My best experience in more than 3 years of travelling.

This hotel was exactly as advertised. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bar service was very personal and fun. It was about a five minute walk to the metro, so it was also convenient.

Nothing could be faulted. The room, although on the small side, was spotless and comfortable. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast staff were very efficient and attentive. Breakfast was extremely good value. The hotel was on a busy street but despite our room looking onto the street, sound proofing was efficient. It was only a short walk to the main sites of interest.

Close to the Ferrari home, the service at this hotel was excellent. Very modern, clean and sparkly. The bathroom was fantastic, marble, spa shower, nice toiletries. A short walk to downtown Modena and fantastic gelato!!!

Booked online for a last minute trip up to see family. I was skeptical about the location, but it turned out to be perfect. We could walk into the center, walk to one of our favorite restaurants. We utilized their car park behind the hotel so never had issues on the street. The room was extremely clean, tastefully decorated, one of the most comfortable beds and quiet. The staff was helpful and cordial, but not too friendly. Basically everything you might want for a few night stay. We would definitely return.

What could be better during a business trip if you can combine with awesome restaurants at walking distance on stony streets of an ancient city? Add to that a lovely staff and carefully cleaned accomodations.....don´t hesitate, stay at Premier Milano and you will realise my point.

It's so nice to stay in a faultless hotel. It is prefectly situated just a few minutes walk from the station and the centre of town. The hotel is clean and modern and has been fitted to a very high standard. All staff were excellent as was the complimentary breakfast. The hotel was also very quiet so a comfortable nights sleep is guaranteed. The internet was super fast. A brilliant stay.

This hotel was good. Good location and wonderful staff. Sleep quality was good apart from the guests who insisted on talking outside our room – I did ask for a room away from the lift but my request was not considered. Bed was comfortable and mini bar sufficient, plenty of cupboard space for your clothes. Room was relatively clean on arrival, not to the usual standard however. We arrived to a half-used toilet roll and a half a box of tissues but everything else seemed ok. I gave this hotel such a high score because of the staff at reception and concierge who were extremely helpful in arranging our cheese and balsamic tours and in making a reservation at a few restaurants. They were always more than happy to call us a taxi and give directions. All staff spoke excellent English. We chose to have breakfast one morning and there was a good selection for a price of 8Euro. The waitress came over and asked if we would like a barista made coffee and of course said yes, however we were not told that these were an extra charge (and as we had not been charged at other hotels we assumed it was a part of the breakfast cost). We should have been told that they were going to be 4Euro each just so that we were aware. If you were staying for a week and did this every day it would add up – so lucky the coffee was nice!). Overall, a decent hotel with great staff in a good location.

We stayed here in March on holiday whilst visiting Ferrari & Lamborghini. The hotel is easy to find & parking is on the street itself. The hotel is very clean & staff are all polite & welcoming; the breakfast was great, lots to choose from for a continental breakfast; The room was clean & we slept well. There's also few restaurants dotted around for an evening meal.

Our family of 3 adults stayed for 2 nights here. Certainly one of the best hotel in the business here in Modena. It's within a short walking distance to either the centre square and to the Enzo Ferrari museum. Breakfast is great and the staff here is very helpful and great. You'll enjoy here. Rooms are small but it's the same for all European hotels.

You get what you expect from 4 stars in this well serviced, clean, modern decorated hotel in a perfect location. Nothing fancy, the amenities average, but the mini bar well contained. All in all it is satisfactory.

The hotel is in a good shape, clean and with space in the room. For business trip is quite good cause is in the center of Modena . The buffet morning is quite normal and diversity, what I think is that is too expensive. The people is nice and treat you fine.

The hotel is really nice the staf is friendly and helpful, the location its not the best but you have the train station not far away. At my room i had to have all the windows closed because i had a parking lot on front so it felt like i didn't had any windows even the person who cleaned the room closed them.

Ultra modern hotel in very old building. If arriving by car, stop on main road outside hotel (no off road parkin), they will assist with offload. Some unguarded parking available, also some secure garage parking - but be sure to pre book either. Ideal location (within ten minutes easy stroll) for visiting Ferrari museum (where you can also book and catch shuttle bus to Maranello Museum, and also Pavarotti House/museum visit; you can pre-book the tickets for all these museums and the shuttle bus on-line beforehand, one day encompasses all three with ease) . No more than 15 minutes stroll from city centre with its cathedral and other attractions. Ten minutes easy walk from railway station. Hotel staff very good, full luggage assistance, room excellent in all respects. Hotel restaurant is in separate building next door, and is shared with their sister hotel two doors down the road. Restaurant only open lunch and evenings - reservation is probably good idea. Food, service and ambience is very good, and reasonably priced. Bar in hotel is also very good, modern, comfortable. Breakfast is in hotel and reasonably good spread buffet - cold of course! Can recommend this hotel without reservation for Modena short breaks. (It is incidentally also used by Ferrari as accommodation for dealer conventions etc being held at the Museum. Also close to the Maserati HQ (shop but no visits), and within easy reach of Lamborghini museum (and if you are really lucky you can pre-book a factory tour there also, if booked well in advance)).

Was a decent hotel with nice facilities. However, the problems began some days later when I realised I'd forgotten my jacket. I contacted the hotel and was happy to hear that the jacket had been found. As a frequent international traveller (I have Diamond status with Best Western), I have left items in hotels occasionally, but each time the hotel has always shipped the item back to me at their cost, as a goodwill gesture. On this occasion, not only was this not the case, but the hotel insisted on using a courier at a cost of 50 Euro (the package was a kilo at most). When I questioned why the cost was so high, the hotel told me they would have to send it where I would pay for the package on arrival (Cash On Delivery). I asked if I could leave a credit card with them over the phone which they could use to secure the postage costs against, they refused, but eventually offered to use the normal post (rather than specialist courier), to send the item. They assured me the cost would therefore be 25 Euro. I was quite unhappy with this since a 1 Kg item certainly does not even cost 25 Euro to send, but I had no choice if I wanted my jacket back, and at least the price was no longer 50 Euro. When I eventually received the item the cost was 40 Euro; 25 for the delivery cost and 15 because they selected Cash On Delivery!! I simply could not believe it! They basically made it clear they did not trust me to pay for the delivery (hence they used the expensive cash on delivery method), then lied and said it would cost 25 Euro. I raised an officially complaint and nearly three weeks later I have nothing other than a weak apology and promise to contact the post office to investigate. Despite repeat follow up emails, I am still waiting to hear what went wrong.

The room and the staff were great. We were greeted warmly by everyone. Breakfast was great tasty but a bit boring. The restaurant next door was yummy as well. Bell hops were eager to help ring a taxi and give directions .

This is a modern hotel that looks like it was decorated by Versace Decor. Good breakfast, good coffee (real coffee, not Nespresso), friendly and helpful and efficient staff, toiletries are ok, bed is comfortable, it is very quiet with double glazed windows, good A/C. The only negative is the size of rooms. The rooms with three beds is two lying down while one walk around, not all at the same time. The suite was mistaken as a small room. Walking distance to Modena town and the surrounding area looks safe even when walking in the evenings. All in this is a pretty perfect hotel to spend a few days in and will definitely stay here again if visiting Modena.

This is a one of the best Hotels I have ever stayed. For a very reasonable price you get great service, clean and well equipt room, soft beds, two swimming pools, gym, free parking. Brekfasts are rich and testy, where you can even mix a fresh juice as you want. There is a good restaurant next to the hotel. The hotel located not far from the Ferrary museum. Highly recommended!

This is a modern hotel with excellent front desk check in and attention. The rooms are contemporary (but on the small size), clean, quiet and well air conditioned. The bathroom is great, especially because it has a jacuzzi bath with soothing lights. Wifi works. We had a wonderful 'tasting meal' in the hotel restaurant with lovely service. We got to the breakfast the next morning a half hour before it was finished. This was unfortunate, because there wasn't any bread left. When we asked for more, it was the only time that the hotel failed to please us. The breakfast staff did not seem as eager to please/serve as the rest of the staff. Also, Modena is a beautiful place. It is a Unesco Heritage Site for good reason. Sadly, we only stayed here for one night.

A very clean nice, well-located hotel. I definitely recommend to anyone staying in Modena and know that you will be pleased with your stay. I wish it had a more complete dining experience as we were not able to eat in the hotel and had to go out every night

Pleasantly surprised with this renovated and centrally located hotel. Helpful staff and also free parking - which is unusual downtown. Breakfast was not up to northern European standards, but still probably better than most Italian hotels.

First time in Modena, a relatively good pick for our overnight stay. We booked 3 rooms and all were upgraded, though we were not sure what the standard rooms were like. Rooms size was fine for European standard. Service was friendly, rooms were cleaned, though we found underneath the desk was a bit dusty. Sound proof was not the best, as the guest upstairs to us was pushing the chair back and forth and the noise was guite loud. We will stay here again if we should visit Modena again, hope something can be done about soundproofing!

What a wonderful surprise to check into this elegant hotel just minutes from the center of Modena. Everything was top notch and spotless. The bed and pillow were heavenly as were the sheets. An excellent stay for sure! We stayed in Room 108 and while there was no view to speak of the luxurious bathroom, dressing room and bedroom made the relaxing stay amazing. Parking is free on the street in front of the hotel (within blue stripes) if you can find it. The hotel will give you a ticket to put in your window for the duration of your stay, which was very convenient. The Ferrari Museum is an easy walk as is the town center. There are many delicious places to eat and enjoy the Modena cuisine. Try the steak marinated in balsamic vinegar, delish! Also, just across from the hotel towards the town center is a great balsamic vinegar ship which will ship. Their prices are excellent, only wish I'd gotten their card so I could go to their website and order more to be shipped to the states.

We spent 6 nights in Modena. Milano Palace is an enjoyable hotel in a good location. Parking is available on the street (if you can find a space) and the hotel is 10 mins walk to the centre; 5 mins to the Ferrari museum (Modena one) and 5 mins to the rail station. The only thing we didn't like was the bedroom windows which looked onto a courtyard and the curtains were kept closed. Staff were friendly and breakfast good.

The location is ideal..walkable distance from the train station. The staff is helpful and polite especially the lady at the reception ... always welcoming. Good Housekeeping -towels, toiletries replenished. Breakfast is minimal but was good. The room rate was expensive but we had nothing to complain about.

In April 2015 I started weekly business travels in Modena and I tried initlially different hotels. However, when I discovered the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Milano Palace I realized being impossibile to change again. The reason is that this is the best hotel at least in Modena for a lot of aspects: - position + physical evidence: it is located very close to the train station and to the downtown. In addition, this building was completely refurbished recently and rooms are fantastic. - service: high quality: international breakfast + excelent restaurant. - staff: this aspect represents really the additional value of this hotel: a professional staff well organised can meet and support customers' requirements, concerns and setbacks in kind and proactive way. To sum up, I've been living in this hotel (except weekends) since June 2015 and I can say..."I live" beacause this confortable place is like an home for me...

The allure of this hotel is that it is conveniently located within easy walking distance to old Central Modena, the train station and of course the Ferrari Museum. It was a good value for the price and pretty status quo for Best Westerns in Europe -- nothing great but not bad. Room was comfortable and nicely decorated and the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Inclusive breakfast was rather disappointing with very limited selection. Would recommend a stay here if visiting Modena.

After a bad experience at a Best Western Hotel, in Baja, Mexico some years ago, it was difficult to decide if this hotel of the Premier branch was going to be much better. What a good surprise about the quality of the hotel and the best of all: excellent cost/benefit. Conformable bed, clean bath, soft towels, modern décor, walking distance to the train station and a 15 min walk from downtown. One of the best things about the room was that blackout courtains to avoid sun light in the mornings and helped to fight jet lag; totally dark. For the price paid for a suite, the room size was aceptable. Free and fast WI FI. Front desk personnel were very kind and polite, always willing to help. The buffet breakfast was just ok, nothing beyond expectations, but service was totally acceptable. For touristic reasons Modena is just worth to spend one or two nights maximum, so this hotel is totally recommendable.

We stayed 1 night in January 2016 in this hotel after having looked at many others in Modena. We choose it because the decoration was modern, which is difficult to find in Modena (most have historical/classique decoration). It is not in the "old city center", just a few steps from it, on a big and charmless avenue. It is very practical if you come by train because the hotel is between the train station and the okd city center (10min on foot only). It is quiet at night, the service is nice, there are kind of Versace decorations/furnitures. The room was ok but not "waouh" for the prixe we paid (around 150€ without breakfast) and considering the other hotels offers. For tech-fans, the bathtub has a coloured lighting system. Should we come back to Modena, we will choose a cheaper hotel even if we don't like its style because this one is not great enough for the price. FYI: go to the Caffè Concerto on the Piazza Grande, the gnocco fritto and the pasta are great, with nice ambiance;-)

We pulled into town late in the day and needed a clean, comfortable, safe place to spend the night. We were pleased with all aspects of this hotel except the price, which was strangely high relative to the many other places of similar type and quality we stayed in. The staff was helpful but unfortunately, we took their recommendation in our choice of dinner, and were really disappointed in the meal. But these things happen. Would feel much better about our stay if the price had been more in keeping with the other hotels in the region. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious.

We came to Modena to wait to see if we could get into Osteria Francescana...the waitlist didn't get us in, but we enjoyed our stay in clean comfort. anyway. The staff was helpful and welcoming. Our thanks to the Milano Palace Hotel staff.

The Milano Palace is one of the Best Western Premier hotels within the group and they do not disappoint. Very modern with a Versace theme this is a well designed boutique hotel with some nice touches albeit intermittent Wi-Fi. Well positioned to walk into the historic centre, the Museo Enzo Ferrari and the station the only drawback is that many of the rooms are quite small. I stayed as part of a tourism group for one night and this was ideal, there is even tea and coffee making facilities in the room unlike the other properties I stayed at on this tour. Breakfast is simple but adequate and I can certainly recommend the property.

Don't be put off by the Best Western name - this is a lovely little hotel which has been renovated in a tasteful modern style. Lots of sparkle around including the floor of the lift. We had classic rooms which were very comfortable - loved the painted pictures above the beds. Rainfall shower was quite powerful and a proper big hairdryer. Breakfast buffet was quite good. Wifi not very consistent which was a bit annoying. Hotel is a short walk to shops, restaurants, Enzo museum and the railway station. If you're travelling on the bus to Bologna airport - the stop is on the main road and not at the stops beside the train station - surprisingly hotel staff did not know this.

This hotel is well located, just 5 minutes walk from the Modena train station and about 10 minutes walk from either the Enzo Ferrari museum or the central old Modena. We have arrived about an hour earlier then the permitted check in and staff were happy to take our cases to the storage and then also put them in into our room once it was ready. Our "executive double" room, although it felt small, was very nice and comfortable, cosy and it had a spare single bed / sofa. The only issue was with the shower - water seem to have escaped the boundaries and glass partition, causing a bathroom mini flood which had to be contained with the use of spare towels. Its probably a design issue. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special what we anticipated it would be. Staff were genuinely very friendly and helpful during our stay. The rate of EUR 246 per night (crazy amount of cash for one night but it was a special occasion, so wanted to make sure we stay in a nice place) plus EUR 3 per person per night city tax was the most we ever paid for any hotel in the world but unfortunately this was not the best hotel we ever stayed in. It probably makes it to the top five, however, considering the price, it was not the best value for money overall. Would stay there again but only if the rate was a lot lower.

We stayed 1 night at the Best Western Premier Milano Palace. The hotel is newly refurbished and in a great location - walking distance to the Ferrari museum in Modena and the lovely centre of Modena. The room was very nice, but on the small side. The rooms were clean. Rather noisy was the closing of the door of other rooms: this was loud and with a big BANG. The breakfast offering was ok, specially considering the price: 5 euro

It was a good surprise to find this well localized hotel near all the main attractions of Modena. The staff was very attentive, the room very clean, comfortable and relatively spacious. Very good breakfast was included.

Our second floor room was quite large with extra large double bed and good sized bathroom. But if you dont want to wash your hair the shower can be tricky to operate. Dont expect a view from your bedroom window because it is a major operation to even open the curtains and then the window. Air-conditioning works fine though. Free WIFI which worked fine when we were there. Excellent restaurant next door, as part of the hotel. We were are a large group (40) but the three course meal was first class and very efficiently served. Breakfast in another room within the hotel and on ground floor, had a very wide choice of foods available and filled up at regular intervals. Coffe was by order and served to the table. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is slightly outside the touristic old centre but at a walking distance. The room is small but everything is shiny, very modern, even in the lift where we enjoy some lights effects. Wifi does not work properly so if you have absolutely to send mails, this is not the place to be...

Rooms are very comfortable, yet somewhat small. TVs are new. Internet is free, but somewhat slow and flaky. Parking is free. Hotel looks and is very clean and probably was recently redone. Good use of power outlets by the bed. Desk is very small (had to put the coffee maker on the nightstand to make room for laptop).

This hotel has undergone a major renovation which has been overseen directly by the owner. The staff are amazing and try and take care of all your needs. Most importantly, DO NOT be put off by the Best Western Logo. It has been renovated as you would expect of an exceptional 5 star hotel

Very modern tasteful rooms. Very helpful and friendly service Good central position for both shopping and the Enzo Ferrari museum. We felt it was very good value. The restaurant was good value and it was nice to see wine from 12 euros a bottle especially as it had a lovely decor and feel about it.
