Very Bad Service and Not very clean. The Windows was very Dirty and the paint fell of the Wall. The Front door did ignore us and they only speaked spanish. My wife had to Carry the suitecases. And they helped the man with his suitcases. No parking Spots. 40 Dollar a Night Parg 3 Blocks away

We stayed for two nights prior to a cruise last week. Pros: The staff were helpful and friendly at check-in/out. They also gave our kids goodie bags for the beach with snacks on our second day. This was very kind and they loved it. Parking was a little intense as the garage is tiny, but we managed to find a spot for our large rental car and they did reserve our spot for our entire stay. This was very helpful and a relief after reading iffy reviews about parking. The big nespresso machine in the lobby was a nice treat and we were able to make lattes and mochas throughout our stay.much better than your standard hotel coffee. The location is very beautiful and close to many restaurants and a stunning beach. The cons: This hotel is pretty dated and not the cleanest we've stayed at. This was unfortunate as we've always found Best Westerns to be relatively clean. There were stains on the walls and doors, as well as some of the linens on the pull out couch. The pull out couch was also broken, and extremely uncomfortable. There was trash under it from previous guests. The family suite we stayed in was in a really unfortunate location and our ‘partial ocean view' balcony faced a glass cube wall… and was just a closed off section of a roof… it was so bizarre. The walls are paper thin, so you could hear spring break partying all night and morning. There was heavy rain for a large portion of our stay, but when it stopped and we did get to access the beach/ sunshine on day two, they still didn't make towels or beach chairs available that are supposed to be included with your stay. This was a bummer as we stayed here for the beach access. We totally get weather is out of their control, we just wish they would have let us have at least the beach towels when it stopped. The room was pretty pricey for what we got.. I've paid less for much nicer resorts in Waikiki. They have a no refund policy and I can see why they had to implement one. People are not thrilled with the rooms. Overall we were grateful for the location but probably wouldn't stay again due to cleanliness, outdated rooms, and high cost.

Pictures look better than actual property! I will not stay again! Location is right on the beach but Ilike to feel comfortable when I vacation especially with my kids. I travel for a living, so I have seen better, even at the Holiday Inn.

I paid $300 for one night and they couldn't even provide free breakfast.The free breakfast buffet that they offer at other hotels this one charged $18. They have a check-in time of 4pm which is extremely late for me. And the front desk girls seemed annoyed and not friendly.

I have been so pleased with my stays in other Best Western locations over the past two years that I chose this location to stay before our cruise based on brand trust and proximity to the beach. The place is just so very dated and worn, the rooms smell VERY musty, and the furniture and decor is run down- no comforter on the bed, mattress very firm and the biggest faux pas is that there is no complimentary coffee or coffee to buy at 730 in the morning until the restaurant opens at 8. The normal “free” breakfast provided at most most Best Westerns costs $18 here and it's the exact same stuff as all other BW buffets and the drip coffee is so weak. I am so very disappointed and based on the smell, slightly disgusted. On the positive side the staff is friendly and helpful.

Overall, my experience at the Best Western Plus Atlantic Beach Resort was exceptional. With its prime location, impeccable cleanliness, and outstanding service, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the area.

The one and only thing good about this hotel is the proximity to the beach full stop. So many better options. Staff upon Check in do there absolute least to help you with any enquiry. Rooms out of date old, refurbishment urgently required. Partial view of the beach. The place feels like a retirement home. Low income housing is a more accurate description. The room rates for this level of accommodation are excessively High. Coffee machines in the room but no water what a laugh, you can find better. My stay at Best Western was marred by disappointment and frustration. Despite requesting a crib in advance, none was provided upon arrival. The staff's response was not only unhelpful but downright rude, showing a lack of concern for the safety and comfort of my child. This combination of unfulfilled requests and poor service leaves me unable to recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed 7 nights total, and the room/hotel was clean overall. They provided beach chairs and an umbrella each day for beach lounging, but there was not always enough chairs available, so during summer months finding a chair may be more difficult. We requested an early check-in, this did not happen and they were not able to keep us updated for when our room would be ready, so we waited 3 hours. They were kind enough to waive the early check-in fee. Our biggest complaint was that our room was not restocked each day until 4:30/5:00pm, and by this time it seemed pointless to have them make the beds and everything when the day was almost over. The beds are also extremely firm, so we would not recommend this if you like any type of softness to your mattress. The room was overall nice, but there was significant rust around the tub areas and overall felt very outdated for the price of the room each night. We appreciate our stay, but if returning, would definitely pick another hotel close to the same location that has a better overall vibe for a similar price.

anti-Semitic night supervisor yelled at wife with two kids saying you people have to many kids like we are the biggest population I called the manger she covered it up yelled at me on phone and hung up multiple times seriously this horrible the place they promises us cribs we even offered to pay extra for it they they will have one for us and this how they treat us we were very polite I am a manger and this not expectable they disconnected my wife room phone

Had to find another Hotel at 8:30 pm on a Saturday night. No parking available for guests when we arrived. Would not refund money spent for an ocean balcony room. This was the worst experience I've had with any business anywhere. A thousand miles from home and after a 14 hour drive. You left my wife crying and us with no lodging. Despicable….

Pros : Location is pretty good as you can find buses and trolley easily and close to the hotel. Food is ok when it comes to a la carte or breakfast buffet Room quite big Cons : The staff is not friendly, caring or even welcoming which is a big issue when it comes to provide services. This is the reputation of the bread! They should train them better to be more professional Breakfast was ok but missing some vegetables (only carbs, sweet and gluten) No option of vegetal milk available which nowadays is quite sad Cleaning is not the best and you can wait more than half of the day to have a room clean which can be an issue when you have small children that you want to put in bed for nap time They automatically add on 18$/day on your bill for : High speed wifi -> which is not working well Water bottle and sun bed -> only available at the beach house but when it is a rainy day they still charge you!! I find it UNFAIR Fitness Center was ok but missing pair of weights which make it hard to have a proper work out session They need to make some adjustment or else the hotel will just fall down

Always love coming to this hotel ...staff is great especially Yadira ... Diana at the front desk is also wonderful to work with. Great location... very clean ... room with the beach view is fantastic ...

We were on a penthouse suite 10th flr. The view of miami beach from the room window was great . The room itself was modest clean , we was just puzzled with the layout of the rooms bathroom, it was spacious but the shower space is weirdly placed, the shower curtain was short ; thus the water from shower flows directly to the floor of the entire bathroom. The parking situation is not so organized , we ended up parking outside of the hotel . The telephone from our room was locked from calling outside numbers , even after I called frontdesk and asked them to unlock it. Over all its good experience with minor issues, we think its still worth the money you paying. If you ask if we will be back again we definitely would,

very nice room and had an ocean view the food at the breakfast was nice I recommend going here for certain. stay here if you like to see the beach pool was clean and nice as well we will be back for sure . The shopping in the area was nice too and the local restaurants

Great location, direct connection to the beach. Badly smelling corridors, restaurant at the bar is overpriced takeaway. Inspected the breakfast, decided to eat breakfast elsewhere. Pray for silent neighbors, bad sound insulation in walls. Do not rely on reply when calling the lobby.

Terrible place to stay. The room smelled terrible, laundry room washers & dryers were broken. Sketchy people hanging around the inside and outside of the hotel. Staff were not people friendly and we never received our bottles of water that were supposed to be provided. Extremely disappointing. NEVER EVER AGAIN

Nice location, I had a dirty/dusty room. There is no free continental breakfast at this facility , they want $18.00 a plate for a buffet breakfast. Their drink prices are more of a whim than anything realistic. Prices change for the same drink. Maybe it was a slow day.. I did not appreciate the staff laughing at me when I asked about the expected amenities. I am old and have had great experiences in the past, They can't wait to get you to leave in the morning. They start beating on your door early trying to get the room clean before 10:00 I suppose. Not my favorite BW

From the available early check-in to the late check-out, the experience was good. Front desk staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean. The pool area is nice and the beach is right there! The hotel is close to bus stops, drugstore, a market and restaurants. Very convenient. Would definitely recommend and would return to.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Miami Beach and I must say, it was impressively clean. From the lobby to the guest rooms, everything was spotless and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job of ensuring a clean and fresh environment. I was very impressed with the level of cleanliness at this hotel

Our family of 5 stayed for 2 nights . We booked into a balcony suite with 2 double beds. The hotel location is excellent. Right on the beach with a decent little pool, and the beach is perfect for swimming, and having your own deck chairs is amazing. The suites are excellent. Very spacious with 2 bathrooms, and they really look as per the picture. There is car parking nearby, and the restaurant is a basic buffet at a reasonable price for breakfast. We did have problems with the rooms. Our first the aircon wasn't very cold. The Sent staff immediately and when it couldn't be fixed to our satisfaction they offered us multiple alternatives. We moved rooms (same size no balcony) but were refunded the difference. In our second room, we discovered the next morning the toilet was leaking. Again, staff were sent immediately and they wanted to move us. As a family of 5 with less than 24 hours left of our stay, I couldn't be bothered. We had 2 bathrooms, so we just didn't use the other. The hotel compensated us appropriately. Despite these inconveniences, I would 100% stay here again as they responded to everything immediately with our best interests as the focus and we were impressed by their service. Overall the hotel was great.

Great experience - last minute reservations due to flight cancellation on a Sunday afternoon. Glad we chose this hotel. Very short walk to the beach where chair/umbrella/towels are provided. The pool area was clean and there's a bar (closed too early for us but it was a Sunday). Restaurant food was really good. Nice friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable with a great view of the beach and the city lights (ocean view room).

Best Western PLUS? RESORT? No. Neither of those things are true, unless you count Beach service as the only requirement to be called either of those things. You walk in the lobby and think “oh this is very nice”. That's where nice ends. The front desk person didn't even say hello, and after that we were never able to contact them again without going all the way down there in person. You walk off the elevator and are immediately hit in the face with the smell of mold. The room was dirty, the AC did not work, housekeeping refused to provide us with wash cloths and the front desk never bothered to have any sent the entire 5 nights we spent there. The view to the beach is pretty obstructed it at least it was beautiful S Florida foliage obstructing it. Access to the beach was good though, and as I mentioned, they did provide us with beach towels, umbrellas and lounge chairs. The pool bar ran out of ice and closed around 4 every day…kind of crazy at a resort hotel on Miami Beach. $18 resort fee daily and $34 daily parking fee. This is not the one. We will never stay here again, and BW should be ashamed of it.

So, about my staying: the location of the hotel is great! Hotel lobby is very nice, has a very good smell, the beach was great, and the beach service was great too the guys that do the beach service are the best! Sadly, I can't say the same about our 7 nights and 8 days stay 8/3 to 8/10/23, the very first morning 8/4/23 we woke up with lots of noise of construction in the 2 rooms by ours they were remodeling or fixing the rooms, and they were talking to loud around 9ish am, that went on for 3 or 4 days, I wish the front desk had told us that was a fixing a room by ours when we checked-in this way we could decided if we want that room or not. Besides the noise of construction they were talking so loud. We left the first morning 8/4/23, since we woke up with the noise and we decided to go out, we saw the house keeping in the hall and asked them if they could bring to us clean towels, when we came back later the beds was made, but there was no wash clothes, I saw one house keep in the hall, I asked her if she could bring wash clothes for us, she said she will have to talk to the supervise about it, that was our second day, I spent the next 4 days, asking the house keep when I saw her in the hall when we were leaving if she could bring washcloth for us, they brought clean towels, but never a washcloth, in between since I wasn't getting, I asked the front desk, 2 different time and 2 different guys, they said they will call house keep and send right way, never did! I tried to call house keep from the room number 3x nobody answered, tried the front desk another 3x nobody answered. We ended up washing our bodies with our underwear for 5 days. Then day #6 I saw the house keep supervise at the hall, and told her the ordeal that I was going thru to get washcloth and she said she will ask them to put some in our room, so day #6 we finally got the washcloth and used thru day #7 the same one. I don't know if the hotel was short in washcloth or if we book a long stay they don't care about us. Another incident was about the 2nd day that we were a small roach was in my dress that was hanging in the chair, I talked to my daughters about going to the front office and complaint about it. my girls told me to wait till next day to see if there was other roaches, then we definitely needed to complaint, luckily we didn't saw any more.

Everyone was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, they allowed us a super early check in with out much of a wait. Made it very easy for us to access the beach. Very helpful to us in finding the places we wanted to go. We will be back

Best advice. Don't go. Front desk chaos. Only ice machine in the building is near the pool entrance. Ice machines have been removed off of all floors. Some staff do not wear name taggs and refuse to identify themselves. Asked for security officer and was told the property do no have securityu. Be fair warned. Only helpful person, Karla atr front desk.

I came to Valdosta for the first time to visit my son who is in the Moody Airforce base. We've always used Best Wstern, so we decided to do the same this time. I am glad we did. Rooms were very well maintained and clean. The pool and the fitness center look great and I was able to enjoy them. I will definitely come back here for my other visists.

Brilliant location, right on the beach, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room and balcony were absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Miami Beach.

The price is good for the area of south beach in Miami. The key card to our room stopped working every day. We would have to go to the front desk every day to receive a new key card. It was such an inconvenience.

Stayed here for 5 nights. The last two nights there was some sort of issue with moisture on the 7th floor. They planted commercial fans in the hallway and somehow decided to run the fans all day and all night. The noise was ridiculous. The first night we contacted the front desk and they had no idea the fans were running. Security came up and shut them down at around 3:00 am. The fans stayed off all the next day and then someone decided to turn them on again just in time for bed the following night. I brought this to the attention of three different people at the front desk. They basically brushed me off and said I should talk to the manager. Every time I asked for the manager they were scheduled to arrive in in about an hour. Got tired of chasing my tail. Gave up.

We are Diamond Select members of BW. Our experience was very different. We had a “suite” with an a/c that rattled on one side and dripped water on the other side. Our view was the roof. With a 3 day reservation and no parking! Therefore we had to pay $3 an hour to park, that had to be paid in 3 hour increments. Plan your activities in 3 hour blocks. Canceled two days and went to Key West! Skip this stay!

We had a great experience at Best western even at check in Edma and the other front desk agent was very rude to us about parking. The night manager was very welcoming, a gentleman! He fixed the parking issue we had. Pool area and beach area was really nice. The other thing that we did not like is the resort fee that we have been charged and never mentioned.

The hotel is much better than it's reviews. We enjoyed the views and rooms and specifically the big lobby. Great location and service. Looks very nice and clean. We really enjoyed the stay. Parking upgrades could be helpful.

We stayed at this hotel last year. We mostly had a good experience then. Check-in was chaotic both the last time we were there and this time. (Read my last review for how our last experience was.) When I arrived to check in, I handed the receptionist a voucher for a free night's stay for the reservation. The voucher was from a promotion offered by Best Western. I understood that I had to book directly through the Best Western 800 number, and I had done that before check-in. The receptionist gave me a blank look and then went to check with another person about it. Long story short, they gave me a VERY hard time about redeeming the voucher, even though I had followed through with the correct process. It took a consultation with the entire staff to finally give me one free night out of our three-night stay. I was upset that I had to spend at least 20 minutes arguing with the staff, and it ruined the beginning of my vacation. I reported the incident to Best Western. Rating of Staff: 2/5 for lack of competence. The room was fine. No issues. The location is lovely, near some restaurants. There's a small swimming pool at the beach side of the hotel. There is no hot tub, unfortunately. There are some lounge chairs in nice, shady areas. Guests can enjoy the pool bar. Be careful when leaving the property for the beach! As soon as you walk out of the property to get to the beach, there's a "highway" of speeding bicycles, skateboards, and motorized scooters. Look both ways as you would a busy road, even though it's technically a sidewalk. Resort rating: 4/5 Average score: 3. Sorry I could not do better than that for score. I was not at all pleased with the way I was received.

Hotel was much nicer than we remember in the past. Staff was very helpful, room was very clean, everything was perfect. Great view of the ocean. Not too busy. Would stay her every time. Highly recommended.

This hotel has unfriendly and unknowledgeable front desk staff. Rooms are a good size but not functionable. Desk area no light. Bathroom is smaller than a restroom at a gas station. Very poor accessabilty for disabled. Terrible parking for guests with cars. Very few TV channels and reception. Never again. Wasted a free night voucher on this stay,

We stayed here the night before a cruise. We had hoped for some beach time, but a front came in and it got unseasonably cool. Our king room overlooked the beach. The door to the bathroom didn't shut all the way but it was a nice sized room with a balcony. The view was awesome since it was too cool to be outside. We did get a drink at the pool bar and it was reasonably priced and delicious. The pool was reasonably sized. Overall the property was a great value for the location--not fancy but clean and right on the beach. We didn't try the restaurant except for carryout coffee and bacon the next morning. Both were good. Breakfast buffet was $16/person. It was walking distance to other restaurants and a CVS across the street. I would stay here again!

The stay was impeccable as always. Staff is so helpful. The place is very clean and takes pride in their hotel. Hassle free booking and checking in. The staff try's their best to accommodate each and every guest. This is my third year at this location and I've seen the upgrades every year. Last year I saw the walkway to the beach being done and heard about room renovations. This year I was able to see the walkway completed which looked amazing and I was also put in a newly renovated room with tile floors and updated colors in the hotel room. I love the double sliding glass doors especially sleeping at night with them both open and hearing the ocean and feeling the sea breeze.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel breakfast was good the buffet was perfect. The gym was clean. The pool area is where I was at most the of the time taking advantage of the perfect weather the bar was excellent and the food too theres a boardwalk excellent for running. Good working people and good work and people very nice and helpful.

Suite was wonderful. Lots of space. Hotel was clean and pool bar food was good and reasonably priced. Pool chairs were limited. Definitely check with gentleman on beach for chair/umbrella rental. Price was better than what the hotel stated.

I would only recommend this property if you are traveling on a budget. The staff was rude. Also as expected be prepared to use google translate most of the staff can't speak English ( which is fine because of the location ) but definitely worsened the experience of this stay Very indicated by the customer service of this hotel I planned my vacations in advance and made my reservation when I arrived they had canceled my reservation and they made me wait 3 hours to be able to give me a room being their fault for having canceled my reservation I asked to speak with a manager but none was available the front desk they are all mediocre they do not know what they are doing one says one thing and the other employee says something else they do not agree on how they should treat a client and more surprised that this happens in miami beach where there is all the tourism ,I would definitely never stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone as we travel from so far away and plan our vacations well in advance.

It's all about location. This is centrally located and not far from the causeway. We knew what to expect coming. The room was a bit smaller than what we were told. They put us in a bigger room but it was still a bit tight. The staff especially Muhammed at the front were great! He's the one with the shells in his hair. Super friendly.

Definitely was worth the money! Very convenient! Friendly staff. Close to many things. Right on the beach. Will be my go to hotel for Miami vacations. Free trolley stops right in front of the hotel! The staff was so welcoming. Check in was easy. I really enjoyed this establishment for my trip.

The property has nice sized rooms with balconies. This is a beach front property with a pool and a pool bar that serves food too. The staff is friendly. Restaurant has limited hours of service. Convenient to restaurants and bars.

This hotel is older but in a great location - right on the beach and easy walking distance to restaurants. Its on 41st street and very close to a bus stop for the Airport Express and the various free trolley buses. We previously stayed in a different hotel on 16th St and 41st St is less busy, less noisy and less crowded. We stayed in a king suite which was HUGE. We didn't have the ocean view, but we had TONS of space.

We had a bit of a mixup at check-in. The receptionist told me I was staying for two nights when I had reserved four nights. I showed him my copy of the reservation confirmation that I received from Best Western, and the staff managed to fix my reservation on their end. I had reserved a king bed that was not facing the ocean. I had thought that it would be a small room with a king bed and not much else. I walked into the room on the second level mezzanine with a balcony style hallway that overlooked the lobby. I was very pleasantly surprised that not only was the room a good-sized room, but it also led into another room, which had a sofa, a TV, a refrigerator, and another bathroom. That made both my husband and me very happy. I would like to comment to the management about our bathroom next to the bedroom. While I believe the maids did a great job with our room while we were at the hotel, I did find a piece of dark hair in the bathtub upon my arrival in the room. I do not have dark hair and my husband's head is shaven, so I know it was not ours. When I went to use the toilet for the first time, it looked as if tiny pieces of ripped up paper were in the toilet. The bed was comfortable enough. There was a double sheet on the bed. There were plenty of places to plug in electronics. There were also lots of lights. The closet was a lit closet and was very spacious. We used the gym. It had two treadmills, an elliptical machine, and a bicycle. If you want to lift weights, they have free weights. One problem we had with the gym was the temperature. It was 77° in the gym and that's not a good temperature for exercising. We had some trouble with the keys for the room after we first checked in. Neither one of them worked, so I told Erik at the front desk that they didn't work, and he immediately brought up two more keys. It seems to me as if they need new door locks, since one of our remade keys had trouble opening the door. The people in the hotel, were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. They seemed to enjoy their job. The hotel had a large and spacious lobby. It is an older hotel with a small, swimming pool, and no hot tub. The pool water approached out of bath water. It was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it. It was just a few steps away from the pool deck to the beach. CVS was across the street, and that came in handy. We bought milk, Cheerios, and other food items. I got a blister on my toe while walking on the beach, so I was very happy that it was there so we could get Band-Aids. One very important detail is to be careful when you walk through the gate to the beach. There is a walkway immediately outside of the gate. You will have to look left and right because bicycle riders treat this walkway as if it is a highway, Don't get hit by a speeding bicycle! I was fine with the hotel and already have my reservation for my January visit.

Room dirty, comforter dirty. Man at desk rude. Nothing complimentary. Beeping fire alarm. I had to stand on a chair to take out battery after a 30 minute runaround when no staff was available to do the work.

Amazing team and a great F&B team with Yesenia leading from the front. Her team Vianca and Yohan did a great job. Nedia at the bar was awesome too always served with a smile. It was so refreshing to see the commitment by this team

Paid for an king oceanfront room, given a double ocean view room and not given a refund or a discount for a less expensive room. The front office manager refused to talk to me and settle the issue. They only have a few self parking spaces and were not big enough for my Chevy suburban. The safe didn't work, the television only had a few channels and they were all fuzzy.

I was a little reluctant to stay at this hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was conveniently located, the staff was professional and friendly, and room was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the beach area behind the hotel, the bar staff at pool side was friendly and made a nice drink. South beach was a quick and easy Uber ride away.

I would like to thank Diana and Eric for helping me during the week. They were so nice and welcoming to the property. The pool bar food was so good. Its close to the beach and very friendly people throughout the property. Jefferson Romulo and Nidia was also very calm staff and nice. Only thing I would say is that the hotel needs a little bit of help from maintenance to make process a little easier. Front desk seems to have to try to fix every problem at the hotel it not fairs to them. They are so under pressure with little to no help. But Diana and Eric keep strong.

oh my the morning shift give me a hard time extending my stay. i had to wait for the after shift to help me book a whole new reservation. just terrible Janet made it her job not to help me whatsoever. Ms Katiana , Ms Rose and Mr edger made it possible for me to stay. if it wasnt for them ill probably by having a hard time finding a hotel. Janet should not be working the front desk is shes not trying to help people.

This hotel is very nice for its prices. They are close to the beach and in a quite neighborhood. The lobby smell so good when you walkin. I would like to thank the people I meet the made my stay amazing Diana from the front desk, perfect and amelo from maintenance and jeffer form the restaurant keep up the hostility.

My trip started off good the first day. I think the person that check me in was Diana or Dana, she is super nice and friendly. Early check in, got us a parking space and all. guest amazing. The next day i decided to eat in the restaurant the staff is rude, i don't know if there are having a bad day or WHAT! I did pay them no mind i just left, i don't thinking paying customer wants to deal with that. I came to the front desk to let them know i don't like the attitude in the restaurant. i believe her name was Rose and Jenn helped me by offing me free parking for the restaurant attitude. I would like to thank Diana, Rose and Jenn for helping me. The front desk staff are amazing!

I just had to write this review because I had an incredible experience with the staff who work here. This hotel worked great with our budget and the location is perfectly accessible to everything. As soon as we got there, we were greeted by Diana and she was SO helpful and accommodating to us. . The hotel is going under renovations and is still a bit get-what-you-pay for but I would highly recommend it for the great staff, location to the beach and affordability!

I was scared because of the reviews but honestly it was amazing!! We had the partial ocean view room. Check in was smooth and easy. Front desk was super helpful with questions about transportation, food, etc. The poolside bar was good. We enjoyed walking to the beach from the hotel. Honestly we had the best stay here. Our whole group got rooms here and not one issue complaint.

Excellent visit - amenities and property are well-maintained; the hotel staff provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this resort. The room was very clean and comfortable It is located very close to the beach which is easily accessed from the pool area. The pool area provided guests with towels, lounge chairs and a comfortable area to sit and relax after a swim. We also enjoyed breakfast (NOT included in your stay) which consisted of buffet offerings or an a la carte menu. Lounge chairs and umbrellas by the beach area are available to rent on a daily basis. There is also a walking/bike trail that ends for quite a distance which is located behind the resort property near the beach. Depending on your room preference, there are rooms with an ocean view.

Best Western Plus Atlantic Beach Resort is a great hotel with all the necessary amenities to fully enjoy your vacation in Miami Beach. Beach, internet, bar, restaurant, gym and a super friendly staff always willing to help customers to have a great experience.

Miami is expensive. But you still expect good service and care for your needs. We arrived to see Miami at the end of a long tour of Florida. We had loved all our Florida hosts up to this point, including another Best Western at Homestead. On arrival, tired after a long drive with two young kids we were told there was no parking available and we had to unload our luggage in the gutter and leave our children in the lobby to guard our cases as no porter was available. We were told to go to a local third party garage (way more expensive than the hotel, and way more expensive than the out-of-date flyer the hotel gave us). During our two nights, we had two flyers stuffed under the room door by local fast food companies. This worried us that any member of the public can access the residential areas without being stopped by security. The hotel is meant to be non-smoking but the people smoking weed outside the main lobby were not challenged. We know Florida has legalised marijuana but we would expect better from a family hotel to prevent the lifts and corridors smelling strongly. We don't smoke ourselves and the residual odour was enough to make us lightheaded. We will be avoiding this hotel in future.

I stayed here in May for a vacation, and WOULD NEVER recommend anyone stay here, the AC went out in my beachfront room within 1hr of my visit, they came and told me that I would be moved to a room non-beachfront with no explanation as to why. I went to the store to get a fan for the night. They then called me and told me another beach front room “just opened up” on the top floor. We then experienced problems with our bathroom, the desk told us to “deal with it” for the night. DONT STAY HERE While they did find us another beach front room, they lied about availability of the room above. The staff was very rude and condescending.

Lynn give me a free upgrade because it was my birthday the view was so NICE. My family was having a hard time everything was going terrible. Until we meet Lynn my family would like to thank her on so many levels.

I came in very early to do the check-in I met the personal Ms Diana shes very friendly. She inform me that housekeeping has to verify the room she would give me a call. Literally not even 5 mins of me sitting in the lobby she called me. Me and my husband was so happy to enter the room so fast, we had all day to have fun and look around Miami. Every time we would pass by the front desk she was always smiling. Only thing I didn't like was some other workers were not friendly or nice. Overall my stay was nice and peaceful. Close to the beach and in a quit area.

Sunday 8/14/2022 Time 3:56 AM who ever was at the lobby red braids very unprofessional. We literally had to shout in the lobby for her to come out. We told her our card key was not working gave us another one STILL wasn't working asked her again and was rude about it. Giving us attitude.Super lazy staff.

Stayed at this property 8/8 and 8/9. Nice partial view of the ocean and good service at the on-site restaurant. Hallway to the rooms dingy and smelled bad. Room was clean but a/c functioned at bare minimum the first day. The second night the a/c stopped working. In addition no hot water to shower. Could not get a hold of anyone until 8am and was told no one there to help. Decided to check out early and go to airport since room temp was unbearable. Called hotel to speak to manager, was not available . Person took my contact info. No call in 24 hours. Called back again today was transferred, phone rings for a long time and then disconnects. Hotel got paid so I guess no reason for to address the situation. This was a last day of summer vacation terrible way to end a nice family vacation.

Excellent location, great service, good view to the ocean. This hotel has everything for a relaxing vacation, clean rooms, a good restaurant, a cozy pool bar. The staff are amazing, they treated us very well making sure we were happy and satisfied.

Rooms did not get below 73 degrees, front desk staff was not friendly, any issues we had, they acted as if we were an inconvenience to them. Key cards had to be reprogrammed daily on a 6 night stay. If you want to use the laundry services, bring your own quarters as 5th will send you across her street to a CVS pharmacy.

Hotel was stuck in the kid 90s. Hotel staff was very helpful. Had to rekey my room several times but the hotel staff rekeying my card, didn't seem to bother them. Overall a good stay but would have been better with better maintenance of property.

You can't be the location of this hotel. Right on the beach with a nice bike/hike trail adjacent. Everything is hospital clean, nice restaurant, nice staff. Pool was very nice, too. Pool bar tender was very nice.

I was in the room 711 my experience was good as we soon arrived at the propety lady called Janet helped us very friendly and good skills at the check in. She explain everything what we need to know.. We are coming back for sure!!!

My room was so beautiful. I got to the hotel I spoke to Dianna to do my pre check in I let her know it was my anniversary the next day. She automatically give my a free upgrade. My husband and I was so happy. She also insure that I got to see the room before she left. Oh my! My room was so beautiful I could thank her enough. Thank you Dianna for making my anniversary something I can't forget.

Over all I had a great time. The rooms are very nice and they provide daily room service. Lynn at the front desk was super nice in the afternoon and during the morning the bell hop guy I believe name was Edgar was also helpful. CVS is right across the street from the hotel. Thank you I'll be back.

I had the best time at this hotel. We came in early Ms Diana did the pre check in for us and give us access to the the pool beach and washroom. The beach is amazing. Around 1pm Diana give us a call I told us our room was ready. We truly appreciate the help she give us ensuring she will try her best to to do a early.My family really appreciate her

Customer service is really bad drinks watered down food cold ice machines don't work the young man in concierge was the only one very help and kind they stay in the back and took over 8min to come help

No working ice machine on our floor, also always empty ice machine on 1st floor, DIRTY pool murky water, NO pool maintenance during our 1 week stay, nasty grime along the edge of the pool (major turn-off), NO hotel manager present on the July 4th holiday, No kind of holiday entertainment offered, horrible dirty upholstery on the lobby sofa seats, room rugs were dirty and musty, made the room stuffy and smell awful each time we came into the enclosed room, would have been nice to have a microwave in the room, we had NO ironing board available in our room to iron our clothes, every BW hotel I have stayed at previously has offered continental breakfast....NOT this one. We were NOT informed there would be a room safe usage charge and we were charged daily for the safe on our invoice/bill. It would have been nice to have complimentary beach chair and water to say the least. I'd like to know what does the plus stand for....extra fees??? There was nothing plus about this hotel. This hotel did NOT resemble a "resort" in any way shape or form so I suggest you remove that from your hotel description because that is false advertising! Now, the hotel next door to this BW will be worth a look at the next time we visit Miami beach. They had lively music/DJ on the 4th for their guests, they have 2 pools, cabanas and I saw pool maintenance the next day, and I could smell their delicious food all the way up to our room! "BW Plus" please consider my review as constructive feedback and make the necessary changes asap because this BW has much potential to make it a Plus...even a 4 star hotel.

We loved the beach access. Very easy to get to and from the water. Hotel was dingy feeling. Toilet ran all the time. Thin walls. Parking was sold out for the day when we arrived 3 hours before check in. No complimentary breakfast like most Best Westerns. A measly pastry was $3. The restaurant was about $20 per person for breakfast according to the front desk attendant. If you're on a budget and trying to save money just be aware of all the extra expenses. There is a mini fridge for groceries. Pool is tiny but understandable considering the location.

Booked at room with a partial ocean view. The view was awful, nothing like the photo and I was looking at an abandoned building and was extremely small. We did not have parking because the lady said it is 1st come 1st serve and not enough for everyone. 2nd room 403 the toilet overflowed and we had to clean it up ourselves. No one ever came to check on it or clean it up. The toilet overflowed again and nothing. I went downstairs and spoke with 2 different managers and they said they would check on it. NEVER DID, NEVER EVEN HAD ANYONE TO COME TO THE ROOM. I looked for another hotel and there were non available due to it being a holiday. The hotel charged me for the entire stay on the 1st day and charged me for a room that I was not even in. At check out they didn't even have me in the system so the young lady had to create a receipt to print for me and write on the bottom of it. I was charged for the umbrella and chair at this resort which was odd, considering all other resort umbrellas and chairs are free with your stay. I still have not been contacted. I called the corporate office and I have spoke with a customer service rep and still have not got anything. But they charged me $1,800 for crap

It smelled and they have a lot of hidden fees they don't tell you about. Also they lie when you call and ask about shuttle service to the airport. They will tell you yes they offer it on the phone but they really don't. Also they close the pool before it gets dark and they never have any towels. The housekeepers don't speak English so it's pointless asking them anything. Just overall horrible

Great. Incredible price. Comfy, clean suite set-up perfect for work and rest. Wonderful lobby. Large restaurant. Pool overlooking the beach. Plenty of walking space on property, to the beach. Customer service A+. Minimal parking on-site but PLENTY garages/street around.($35+ Overnight Garage Nearby) Super clean & quiet fitness center. Kid-Friendly!!

I don't often leave reviews but what I may consider not so good may not make any difference to someone else. Beds- They are really FIRM. My husband would prefer a firm bed and he said that it felt like sleeping on the floor, no give at all. Ocean View- if you get on a lower floor you will see more trees and concrete than ocean. Breakfast- was decent Walls are thin so if you have noisy neighbors you will hear everything but security was helping. Pool- was the tiniest pool and shallow so if you like it hot and intimate, you will be happy. If you want to go to the beach and want chairs, bring your own or you can rent 2 chairs and a umbrella for $30. That doesn't have anything to do with the hotel.

My mom and I go to Miami Beach often and have stayed in this hotel twice, unfortunately (or fortunately?) after our third time we are not going back :). We were shooting for an early check-in (which we were expecting/willing to pay for) and arrived to the hotel at around 5:30am. Unfortunately, we were greeted by what has been probably the worst customer service/treatment I've received in a hotel. Two ladies that clearly hate their jobs basically kicked us out of the hotel because they couldn't accommodate us as early check-ins. I had tried to inform the hotel about this through Booking, to later find out they have issues with messages through that platform. The two ladies just had this tone, very rude and disrespectful. After a conversation, my mom and I decided to leave and try to find another hotel. Minutes later we came back, to insist on getting a room (advised by another receptionist in another hotel), yet these two ladies insisted in their rudeness. One of them, called the hotel manager, who didn't answer, and left a voicemail trying to sound like a victim of the whole situation, and clearly only told parts of the story. Unfortunately, I coudln't speak to the manager. My mom and I decided to stay at a couch in the lobby until the next shift arrived. At 7:00 Marissa arrived, which was a whole other story. She was attentive and respectful and apologetic about the whole situation. At this point you just want to be heard. She offered us a key card to use the restroom and some water (which hadn't happened before believe it or not). Marissa scrambled around to try and get us a room asap and a couple hours later we got it. Our check-in experience was with Janeth and was smooth. She was very nice and respectful. Two great receptionists, two terrible ones and thanks to that unfortunately we won't be going back. I hope this helps to evaluate the people that are on night shifts.

I really enjoyed my 4 day stay. Everything was great Janet at the front desk helped me and my family she was to our service at anytime and always with a positive attitude and we greatly appreciate her and her great skills we will for sure be back

This was my first time in Miami I had a nice Ocean view room the hotel was clean and quiet. I had one complaint on my last day check time is 12PM the cleaning services knock on my door at 8:30 AM asking if was checking out today. So I went to the front desk and spoke with Janet she was very helpful and understanding.She said she was going to let her manager know and apologize for what happened. Because of her I would visit the hotel again one day she so nice and hope to see her there again one day.

Stayed here 2 nights prior to a cruise. Could not be happier with the location, our oceanfront balcony room, beach chair service, friendly pool bar staff, and the lobby was modern and welcoming. The main negatives are the condition of the elevators and the hallways and doorways. The carpet is very old, very dingy, and smells musty and old. The doors and trim need replacing badly. That said our room was nicely refurbished, modern, clean and quiet. The CVS right across the street was an added bonus. With a little more TLC this property could be a 4 star. We did not visit the onsite dining room but our pool bar lunch and beverages were the best value going on Miami Beach!

I am not a hotel snob, but this place needs a good scrub. This was my second stay here, as I thought I would give it a second try. (they were updating when I was here last and apparently, still are?!?) Unfortunately, it still smells badly. It is musty smell in the room and parts of hallways and it's pretty strong. The pool is ok, but steps to beach need a good cleaning. The breakfast is SOOO EXPENSIVE....DO NOT eat here. It's a deluxe continental breakfast, but you can get made to order omelettes, but really, not worth the cost. I suggest getting 1 plate and taking it up to your room to feed everyone OR packing your own breakfast. I wish they had a cheaper dining option, especially for breakfast, maybe more people would eat there then. Like a 2 for $15 deal where you get eggs, bacon/sausage/ toast and maybe fruit. Overall, it's an ok place for 1 night, but I cannot imagine staying here longer than that, I would not choose this hotel as my week-long vacation spot.

We decided to have 5 days vacation in Miami and we chose the Best Western Plus hotel. We are very happy with our decision it is a very clean and organized front desk staff (as I learn their name later) Janet and Marissa are very friendly both smiling faces night shift personnel as well. In the concierge section, Edgar was very helpful. Daily room cleaning was very good. Another time we will choose this hotel again with no hesitation

I have stayed at many Best Western Hotels. The reviewers of this hotel should be ashamed and I'm happy I wasn't deterred after reading their critical reviews. People are too picky and ridiculous. The location is perfect. The hotel is clean and I witnessed non stop cleaning. It smells great. The staff did care about us! They answered our questions and were super attentive. Yes, check in is 4pm. It's large and busy. They need time.The concierge stored our luggage while we had a cocktail by the pool in the sunshine with the ocean mere feet away. Yes, the pool is smaller than some locations. Big deal! It was clean with a friendly outside bar. Our room was clean with a nice view and the bed was super comfy. The price point is pretty darn good for the location. Lots of the hotels in the area are a little older. They make the best of it. The decor was not outdated. The Breakfast did have a fee, but it was fresh and delicious with a great selection and helpful staff. It was convenient and clean and probably a fantastic price for the area. Please look past the negative reviews here. If you want a fair price with good amenities in a central beach front area, you can't go wrong with this hotel.

The entire staff was accommodating, from the front desk to Housekeeping. Room was immaculate clean with a lot of amenities and a breathtaking view to the ocean. The pool is small but clean and wonderful refreshing. Location is really good

I've stayed here twice. It's not fancy, but it is clean, the service is good, particularly the restaurant and pool bar. I've read conflicting reviews about the front desk staff, however, I personally had no problems. Hotel is right on the beach and boardwalk, bike rentals and trolley nearby as well as a CVS and a few great restaurants and liquor store. You can rent 2 loungers, umbrella and table from Ronnie on the beach, including towels for $30/day. (Cheapest "activity" in MB by far and Ronnie is very nice!) The partial ocean view room with balcony has a great view of the ocean if you can get past the rooftop below. Only had breakfeast buffet in the restaurant but it was fine. If you are looking for a glamorous MB hotel, this is not it, but for the price, it had everything we needed.

No maintenance on ANYTHING, nothing works, the bathroom had pubic hairs in it, everything is run down and dirty, garbage all over, hookers in the drive up at night. I wouldn't stay there again if it was free!

Great hotel to stay at. Clean and quiet. It is close to CVS for any toiletry, snack, or alcohol needs. Food onsite at the restaurant and pool bar. Nice small pool and beach was steps away with chair rentals and umbrellas. Highly recommend for an affordable and great place to stay.

We only stay at Best Western and after this stay is has me questioning my decisions. We had to pay $40 for a breakfast that is free with any other Best Western. Guest services not Friendly at all, Figure you pay $200 for a room they could give you a complementary breakfast. From the second we got out the elevator to go to are room the hall was all the way in to are room has a bad smell to it. when we got in are room i have to use my body spray to make the room smell better.

Great location, very comfortable rooms. We stayed in a suite with two bathrooms and balcony which were great surprises. Clean and quiet. Kids enjoyed the pool and beach. Good drinks at the pool bar too.

Road construction in front of the hotel - think they would send you a message about that? They didn't. Parking at the hotel - not today, nor do they comp you anything to go two blocks down to park. Breakfast as part of the room? Not here, they charge $16 plus gratuity for the buffet breakfast that other BWs give you as part of the room cost. Want to use the wifi? Sure if you don't need to maintain a connection to get your telemedicine covid test done. I wish somebody had told us to go down the street for meals vice using the hotel restaurant. Our waiters name tag listed him as a cashier not a waiter - no wonder he knew so little about the limited menu.

I read numerous reviews prior to booking my reservation and after my reservation was made. I was slightly concerned prior to our arrival. We traveled in from Indiana for a week on the beach. We booked the two room executive suite with balcony. The only thing I wish this room had was an ocean view, but besides that it had two bathrooms, a mini fridge with freezer and a microwave. A full size refrigerator would also be a huge upgrade for a beach trip. The balcony was a nice size overlooking Collins Avenue. We had room service clean our room and fresh towels daily which was also a complaint I read about in other reviews. There is a CVS right across the street that has everything you will need for your trip. There is also a liquor store just a block or two away. We absolutely loved Miami Beach and the location of this hotel.

So here is the good: awesome location, my particular room was modern and updated, the lobby is nice, this has all the potential to be a great resort. As you can see from the reviews, there is a massive problem with the staff. Like there is something seriously going on. We paid for a room, they charged my card, and then said they had no room for us. They shrugged and said call corporate, too bad. Then they had one, but because I got upset, they were making me wait until I apologized and grovelled for my room. This place is like the twilight zone and literally no one is in charge. I saw the staff fighting with many guests while I was there. Guests looked miserable. Everyone is rude, staff just does what they want, no consequences. It's completely outrageous that this is tolerated. Best Western should be absolutely ashamed to have their branding on this location until they change management. I've never stayed at a branded hotel with staff like this. And Barbara, I don't want you copy and paste platitudes. You clearly don't care that you have a huge attitude problem at your location.

Our hotel stay was the worst part of our vacation. Check-in is horrible, they will not let you check in prior to 4pm (no exceptions). We had to sit for over 4 hours to check in. After 4 it took them over an hour to clean our room, so we did not check in to almost 6pm. Staff was rude and not accommodatable. When we asked for a manager, we were given a card. No one ever answered the number by the way. Once we got to our room, I called front desk over 10 times and no one answered. Hotel definitely needs an upgrade. Great location on Collins with access to the beach, however customer service is HORRIBLE! Will not recommend staying here.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Horrible experience! Staff is the rudest people I've ever seen in my life! They are downright mean, not to mention sketchy. I didn't feel safe at all staying here! This place advertised as beach views and I reserved the biggest suite they had only to find my view was of the neighboring property's roof. Couldn't use my balcony since it was touching the roof of the restaurant property which had a huge vent for the fryer that was sitting directly outside of my room. No matter what, they will not check you in until the stroke of 4pm. After traveling for 13 hours with 4 children we, along with everyone else, had to wait in the lobby for 8 hours! Breakfast is $16 per person and if you ask about it the staff gets mad and tells you to go ask the restaurant since “it's not their job”. They did have check in for luggage but were very unfriendly about it and after being treated so poorly I didn't even trust them with that. Thank goodness we only had to stay for one night. I tried to find other vacancies close by during my 8 hr wait in the lobby. My daughter accidentally wrapped her swimsuit in her towel and I took it to the laundry since they did absolutely nothing. When we realized we had left her swimsuit in the towel approximately 10 min later, the staff told me they “didn't have it” and refused to check the laundry. Worst experience by fear from someone who travels a lot! Do not book here!

Ive already put detailed summary of my trip on google reviews. Even if you are lucky enough to pay for parking, there's no instructions to get to lobby for checkin, you have to walk upo and down stairs with babies and bags only to find locked doors. Initially no reception available, and taxi honked at my family in front entrance so severely I had to run to drive away and pay for offsite parking just to check in. Room service, and basically service does not exist. You order from a third party who stacks your food in plastic. It was gross. Can't even buy cold water from vending machines. This is not a resort...it is a hellhole. No towels at beach as stated. Hallways smell of mold. Similar reviews were posted four years ago, and BW offered only an apology, buy apparently improved nothing.

If you are on a budget then this is a fair place to stay. The room is clean but walls are paper thin. so you hear the guests in other rooms conversations. Nothing fancy but affordable. This is probably best for college students and not so much grown adults.

Front loaders dropping loads of dirt and gravel to enhance beach access was noisy. The access ramp was being rebuilt. Parking garage was limited to about 50 cars and a very tight squeeze but charged a high fee to use it. Only one elevator as working and limited to 4 patrons at a time (This was during spring break)

One of the elevators was broken causing long delays on the elevator. They were extremely hot, same with the bathroom- no ventilation. Hallways reeked of weed. Lock and chain on gate to beach during “closed” hours. Staff was ok. I wouldn't stay here again, even though it wasn't crazy expensive.

Front desk took hours to follow-up on anything. The coffee bar and restaurant both have very limited hours and weren't even open during their posted hours. The poolside bar took over an hour for a small pizza and 2 drinks even though there were only 2 people with a total order of 2 frozen drinks and 2 beers ahead of us. Guess there's no reason to hustle when the gratuity is automatically added to the bill. The rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. If this place improved it's customer service, it would easily be above average for the price point. Instead, it is below average even for the price point.

Overall, we had a great stay! We stayed in a king suite. Although this room had a terrible view that looked directly at the building next door, it was conveniently located on ground level just down from the door that accessed the pool and beach, which was very convenient. The room itself was spacious, bed was comfortable, water pressure was good, and the AC worked. We arrived at noon and were told we couldn't check in until 4pm. They gave us room keys and we were able to change, check our bags with concierge and head to the beach until check in. We tried to upgrade to an ocean view room and was told the day before check in we could do so, we got there and they told us we could not, but could check the next day for availability and upgrade for $35 extra per day. So, the next day we checked with the front desk who said there were rooms available, but it would be $75 extra a day. Unsure of why we were told different rates, but at that rate we decided to stay in our current room. There was no room service during our 6 day stay, but we knew that as at check in there was a posted note that said this. We were able to get extra towels, toilet paper etc. if we needed from the front desk. The pool bar had good food and customer service, we were always able to get towels. The beach and boardwalk were right there, which was awesome. We were easily able to walk everywhere. We did use the free trolley one day to get closer to south beach, although I recommend catching an inexpensive Uber. The trolley was crowded and not really worth the wait, in my opinion. We also walked the beach to the tip of south beach pier, took about 45 minutes and was enjoyable. Location was great, the beach was awesome and we don't have much to complain about. The price was good, the place was clean and we would come back again! Thanks for the pleasant stay!

Great value , gorgeous rooms with balcony with expansive views of the ocean in a more quiet area of South Beach . Amenities are lacking but they are all over within walking distance of the hotel. It's my new go to in South Beach.

Covid standard: cleaning Room....warit 5 days , ask reception...nothing... ask for towels...we bring i here...next day i go to reception. 2 Times a day card to room not work. Order espresso in the morning - waiter truck from thermoport , cover and serve...:( i ask why is that no espresso - answer- for me espresso...that is your bill...dramat. Pompano beach, lauderdel or other. 5 tears ago Was not bad. Now absolutely not.

Overall a good experience. The bar/coffee shop was closed. The complimentary pool towels end at 4 PM. You have to ask the front desk for the pool towels, as they are not at the pool. They do not offer housekeeping, unless you stay over four nights. There is no screen door from the deck so bugs come in if you want to enjoy the fresh beach air. There is no view from the Penthouse (10th floor,) it's the same as the lower levels, just higher. We dined the first evening in the restaurant. They prefer to tell you no, rather than charging you for items such as extra bread. We asked for a food box or plate for left overs from an outside restaurant. Again they declined instead of charging for the plate. The chicken dinner entrée was large and turned into three meals. They do not let you order custom meals, only what is on the breakfast menu.

- Front Desk was very rude and not helpful at all. None of them were welcoming. - Concierge is not helpful either and very unresponsive. - The person at the restaurant inside the hotel (aqua) was very hospitable. - Internet was too bad in Room (Floor PH) - Coin change machine for laundry was not working and hence we couldn't dry our clothes after swimming. - Microwave was mentioned in the list of amenities when I booked the room and later I was told it's only for Suite. I should have been informed of this earlier. - I waited for 4 hours to get a room allocated. We were told to call and check - we were waiting with 2 hungry Kids after a long flight. Front desk didn't have a courtesy to inform us of when the room is ready inspite of us calling him several times. After 4 hours when we went in person to enquire only to know the room was allocated. - When I booked the room online, the description said "Full Ocean View" but the room we were allocated was just "Partial View", - Rooms were not cleaned properly. There was hair everywhere on the bathroom floor. - I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and not one day was pleasant.

The staff at the front desk was rude and unapologetic for the delay in getting into our room. The rooms were not ready for the 4 pm check-in. The room was nice and it was clean and well-equipped. The pool area was nice but didn't have enough chairs.

I'm a frequent Miami traveler and why I choose Best Western is because it's people friendly, best location, well priced, stunning views on balcony especially, water available for anybody right when you come in and so much more…

Bad check in experience, uncomfortable beds, free services not available d/t covid but we're actually available at additional charges. No housekeeping services hard to get a new towel or toilet paper, overcharged at checkout. And $2 a day if you use the safe in the room.

Great location for transport links to downtown and airport (both $2.25 pp for a single journey), and to South and North beach areas on the Free-to-Ride trolley - bus stop 1 block away for both. Lots of eateries, take aways and bars nearby - plus a couple of supermarkets and a CVS pharmacy. Lovely beach out the back, and brilliant North - South beaches footpath. We stayed in a king suite which was well appointed with coffee machine, microwave, fridge and 2 bathrooms. The only downsides were the lack of a view, no opening windows and no balcony - but the rooms were really nice. Housekeeping called daily, and we made use of the on-site laundrette so we could avoid the mass of washing on getting home! Swimming pool was disappointing as quite small and too deep for our 6 year old to use safely.

We stayed at rhe BW this past weekend. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The staff was friends and provide assistance when needed. The restaurant at the hotel had a great breakfast buffet and the eggs Benedict were awesome. We really enjoyed our stay.

I don't know where to even begin with this disgusting hotel. First of all no one at customer service is ever around and when they are around service is definitely not the top priority. The other elevators is always out of order. I have never stayed in a hotel were housekeeping does not come in and clean the room. Be prepared to bring all of your own toiletries not to mention some towels and some pillows and maybe some pillowcases with you on your nice vacation to the best western plus. As a best Western rewards member I am absolutely literally shocked that this place is called the best Western and they also add a plus at the end of their name. A name befitting of this hotel should be worst western hotel negative. We stayed an entire week. What's that? An entire week without any housekeeping. You heard that right. Be prepared that this hotel as well as many hotels and restaurants are still using the COVID-19 excuse of not doing literally anything for you whatsoever. Let's talk about the pool. We stayed one week and that pool was not cleaned the entire time. I know what you're thinking maybe you went out and you missed when the person came and cleaned the pool. Let me tell you staying at the very top balcony ocean front room and looking down at the pool was absolutely horrific for the entire week. Are you getting hot? Don't use the ice machine because they don't work. Have a long flight and looking to check in and get some rest? You better make sure you arrive sometime later in the evening well past the designated 4 PM check-in time. When we arrived we were told to come back around 5 PM if not later before we could check into our room. If you were lucky enough to get your room at the promised time the first thing you will notice as you will have to call down to the front desk realistically 10 times in order to get someone and be prepared to beg them for any kind of standard toiletries. If you run out of toilet paper may God help you. Like I said above I have stayed at hotels multiple times my entire life for vacations and also business and this hotel literally has changed my mind about ever visiting Miami Beach again. However if I do come back to Miami Beach I will definitely make sure I stay at the Cadillac hotel which is only about one or two hotels away and the service will blow your mind. Check out the Cadillac. ☺️

Nice hotel and was content with the room but the parking situation is bad. There is parking on premises but at check-in was told there is no parking available so misleading from what's listed in the amenities. Was told to check back next day at 9am to then to be told to check back at noon and then told not available, frustrating. Probably need to identify parking availability as first come first serve? Also tried reaching front desk several times from room and no answer to calls-not cool either.

If you book this hotel be very aware that the staff at this location can be extremely rude. I was called a lair straight to my face by a manager who's name is something along the lines of yadaris. By far absolutely terrible management skills, never met someone so rude and condescending like her. There is absolutely no communication between management and staff in this location. 1 hour after checking in there was a staff member at the front desk arguing and yelling with a guest. I asked for clean towels and sheets 3 days into my 5 day stay and never received anything, only after having to go to the front desk multiple times.

So we arrived yesterday on a short vacation without kids for 1st time ever. Room smells musty. Beds and pillows ok. Bath really small. Came to relax and cant even do so around pool due to works next door. They are constant all day long, drilling and banging and drilling, then there works down sides of hotel and main road. If i have had an email before from hotel to say about noise i would have changed the hotel. Its ruining our relaxation. We are booked tonight and hope can get refund on our 3rd night stay as cant chill. No consideration for notifying guests. I am a travel agent too and i would have been trying to sort alternative hotel and refund for them. Yes thr works are not thr hotels fault but at least give guests a heads up We have been married 8 years and have 2 special needs kids, this is our first and only holiday to de-stress and have respite break from our caring duties

It's a very dull place. The pool area needs revamping. There's no night life. We switched to the Cadillac Hotel after the first night. They wouldn't let one guest who arrived earlier, but after check in time, to go to the room when the credit card holder (who was at the airport) called to give permission to do so. The room itself was fine.

We are currently spending the 3rd of 5 nights here, We were pleasantly surprised to find a very clean hotel with a terrific location on mid-beach. The boardwalk and beach is just behind the hotel, and there are many stores and restaurants nearby. There is currently construction beside the hotel and on Collins that make getting around by car a small challenge, I really do not understand negative reviews for this property. It is a Best Western property not the Ritz Carlton, but I have stayed in many hotels that are not as nice this one. All hotels in Miami Beach are pricy, but this is a terrific value.

The rooms are up to date and very clean. Access to the beach was convenient. I love the fact that there is an outside bar to order food and drinks. There is also a restaurant inside that serves breakfast and lunch. The nightly rate is high as every Miami Beach hotel is but it was one of the lower costing hotels located on the beach and I was very pleased with my choice for $800+ for 3 nights for a beachfront view room. You can't beat that in Miami Beach! I would definitely stay here again.

The location is why this location gets a 3-star rating along with their front desk member, May. May made the trip memorable. When we arrived she upgraded our room to a partial ocean view. Our room was facing the side street with views of the beach and the downtown Miami skyline. Every time we saw May she always said hi and was beyond the best when it came to service. May should be running this property for Best Western International Inc. Throughout our stay, we did interact with several other members of the Best Western team and it seemed like they didn't want to be there. There was one girl working the check-in counter who was pregnant and when I asked her a question she was short with her attitude and didn't want to help. I felt bad because she's pregnant and I'm sure it's difficult working when you're pregnant and possibly tired. Maybe she can be moved to another area of the hotel where she's not in contact with guests? My wife also had a run in with her when she went to the front desk to ask a question and my wife also said she wasn't friendly. The hotel does have covid guidelines like "masks on at all times in the lobby area" and "4 people at a time per elevator", but nobody is monitoring those guidelines. There were people walking all throughout the lobby with no masks on, more than 4 people in the elevator. The hotel has a guy sitting behind a desk by the front door, but more often than not he's usually sleeping in his chair when you walk by at night. In the day time I don't think he's monitoring anyone because people are walking around freely with no masks on. I understand, it's Florida and their covid restriction are lenient; however, we are in a pandemic still and the hotel has guests from all over the world. There were several times we were in the elevator with another guest and they were complaining about how the hotel lets people walk around freely with no masks on. Now for the room. The beds were pretty comfortable. Thanks to May we had a nice view. The bathroom is really small. Tiny. Probably the smallest hotel bathroom that I have been in. The room also has a small fridge but no microwave. The microwave is actually located on the LL floor so if you need to heat up food you have to go down to LL. The small fridge in Miami isn't that helpful. With the amount of great food in Miami it was hard to store left over Cuban or Jamaican food in the small fridge that's in the room. I travel a lot and these were the smallest fridges that I have seen in a hotel room. I'm not sure what it is, maybe a little more Chlorine in the hotel water than usual, but every time I used the shower or washed my face my eyes burned. And no, it's not from the shampoo because we don't use the hotel shampoo, we bring our own from home. For parking, you have to park in a small parking garage on the side/back of the hotel. May informed us to come to front desk the morning after we arrived to get a parking pass (you have to pay for it), so we did as told and the next morning when my wife went to discuss getting a parking pass from the other front desk member that's when she was short with my wife and told her to come back after 12 pm? That's not what May informed us to do though. Anyway, we got our parking pass for our stay and it all worked out. It would be cool if the parking garage was somehow connected or had aa better entry way to get back to the hotel lobby instead of having to walk down the side street to the front of the hotel to get back to the hotel lobby. Overall, great trip. The hotel was cool. I'd probably consider staying here again because of the location and if other staff members follow May's work ethic. For the value and location you can't beat it. The close proximity to the beach is a huge plus. Before I forget, $25 for 2 small pina coladas from the bar by the pool! Geez! It was a great pina colada but for that price it should come in a coconut or pineapple not a little plastic cup! Come on Best Western, I know it's a tourist area but damn. If that's the case, I'm in the wrong business. I need to open a drink hut or something on Miami beach :) My wife, and young daughter were happy because they had their pina colada (and non-alcohol) pina colada on the beach so I was good. Thank you May for making our stay a good one. As for the rest of the hotel, if Best Western International Inc. comes across my review, I hope my feedback is useful to the growth of your business.

So many negative things to say about this hotel I don't know where to start. In summary, don't stay here and just stay at the Cadillac it has a better ambiance and is basically in the same price point, worth the extra dollars. Let's start on a positive note: the BW parking/entry staff was the only nic

We stayed here for a weekend and could not have enjoyed our stay more! I contacted the staff in advance, to get some details and make some requests re: room selection. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Jessica, Alexandra, Luisanna, Veronica, Mr. Romulo and general manager Barbara Romano, were very patient with my inquiries and made sure our stay was exemplary. We were there before covid. (The Tripadvisor system did not allow me to select the actual dates.) At that time, they were still serving a full breakfast, and it had everything one might want before starting a day. The exercise room had sufficient equipment, and, even better, the hotel is right on a running path, which was perfect! The oceanfront view was amazing, and the beach itself was beautiful, as was the turquoise ocean. The pool was refreshing for a quick dip after a day in the sun and surf. We can't wait to return to this hotel!

Hotel smells old keys doesn't work balcony door doesn't work good nasty horrible manager and employees takes 45 mins before someone come to the counter to check u in its like no one was there to check u in u call no one answer the phone don't waste ur money and ur time it's not worth 1 star it's negative zero all across the board. I paid extra for the oceanfront room called about it no one picks up spoke the manager and employee about it and she did nothing .so unprofessional.DO NOT GO THERE ITS NO GOOD

The major plus point of the Hotel is its located in Prime Miami beach area with the beach approachable from the pool side rear of the Hotel. The check in time is only at 4 PM and hence any early check ins are not really welcome. Hotel rooms and facilities do not seem to be updated and have an old look around them. Rooms are also small and hardly having any moving space around them. Bath room with shower and tub was also very compact. Breakfast was not complimentary but buffet breakfast was available at a cost of 20$ per head. Limited spread in the menu. Lot of noise observed in the room from TV & sounds from adjoining rooms.

We called beforehand, and were told there was a balcony. When we arrived, the agent at the front desk (who was the same person we spoke to on the phone) confirmed that there was a balcony. When we went up to the room, we found that not only was there NO balcony, the view was of the side of the building next door, AND the 2 small windows were screwed shut, so there was no chance of even getting fresh air. I went back to the front desk, and after a long wait, the agent apologized and said she made a mistake about the balcony, and said I should talk to the manager in the morning. The next morning, the manager bluntly told me "She's new. I can apologize for her mistake, but if you want a balcony, you'll have to pay an additional $20 per day". I told her that the main reason we had made this booking was because we were assured beforehand that there was a balcony, but she wouldn't budge. Finally we agreed to pay the upgrade fee to switch rooms. The new room did have a balcony with a view, but we had a much bigger problem. The room had a funny smell. After I called the front desk, they sent Someone to change the filthy A/C filter, but the odor persisted. After 2 nights of coughing etc. My wife realized that the curtains were MOLDY! The weekend manager first told us that we would have to wait for housekeeping to come the next morning, but after we told him that we couldn't sleep like this for another night, he sent a member of the maintenance crew to remove the curtains. This helped somewhat, but the smell lingered, and while we coughed less, the symptoms lingered as well. In addition the A/C was mediocre, even with a new filter, and all maintenance did was adjust the angle of the vent. To top it all off, I looked over the receipt, and I was overcharged for the room, and I was charged for using the garage every day, even though I only used it for 2 days. I plan on calling both the hotel management and the corporate office to address this.

Best Western Plus Atlantic Miami Beach is the BEST DEAL you will find in traveling to Miami Beach. From their prices, nearly a 4th of what other properties on the same strip charges, the staff is Spectacular, from the Front Desk check-in to check-out. The restaurant service is awesome and the dishes are AMAZING. The Ocean Front Room views are BREATHTAKING and no HOTEL even comes remotely close to providing the TOTAL PACKAGE of Cost, Class and Customer Consideration. The Icing on a Perfect Cake is the Housekeeping Supervisor Veronica and her Team who make sure that you leave with a lasting positive impression and always looking forward to another visit. Mixed feelings about this property. First it's difficult to get to, parking garage is small and difficult to move in. Room decor was pretty blah and mattresses were hard (not my preference) We had a view of a white wall and if you looked around you could see the ocean. Had 2 tvs, one of the remotes didn't work and the sound on one of the tvs had abusing sound like the speaker was blown. There was a refrigerator and microwave but the microwave didn't work. We called front desk and they had a microwave in the lower level that we were able to go down and use. The staff we interacted with were friendly and kind. Nice little restaurant inside (no breakfast included). Nice pool area but only open sunrise to sunset. Nice path to beach and boardwalk. Have stayed in many Best Western plus locations before and felt this location didn't live up to the others.

My sister and I stayed in the Best Western this November and it was absolutely lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and inviting. Wonderful hotel and reasonably priced. Located near several cute cafes and just a 3 minute walk from the beach! 10/10 would recommend!

Worst experience ever. Same as previous guest stated, booked room through agency and got worst room near elevator. Room has ants and riped/dirty sheet. Complain ro management and still nothing. Rude fd manager and staff members that they dont want to even listen. Call 1800 number still no respond. I will post this review on every single we site.

We booked with PriceLine and payed extra for a parcial ocean view. Best Western Atlantic Miami Beach asign a tree view on the 5th floor. To look at the ocean you have to step out to the balcony and turn your head. No help from the staff to solve the difference. No daily room cleaning with the Covid excuse for over 2 days.

pleasant stay, no frills, great location, beautiful beach, exemplary staff, comfortable beds, pillows very soft. be aware lots of construction going on in front and around the hotel. Cvs located across the street, very convenient.

We had the most horrible experience recently and will never stay again or advise any family and friends to. We were offered another room, however the hotel carelessly reassigned our room to total strangers and they walked in on us getting dressed.

From the minute thatI walked through the front door, I liked this hotel. The lobby was clean and well laid out. The staff greeted us with a smile. Our room was on the 9th floor just below the penthouse and facing the beach just as we had requested. The view was amazing. The decor of the room was simple and perfect for my liking. Everything was clean, and the room temperature was comfortable. The housekeeper was there each day freshening the room. Clean towels, clean bathroom, and beds made. I highly recommend this hotel.

The view from the bed was everything! I was skeptical after seeing other reviews but I've stayed at the location twice and both have been good experiences! Being oceanfront was the most important to me! Loved the location was great the beach was very close! I will definitely return

My husband and I had a very nice stay here, our room was clean and comfortable, the housekeeper was super sweet and helpful. The pool is small but super nice. The beach was beautiful !!!! The pool bar has the best monitors on the beach! Thank you

We stayed here for two nights. The property is very clean and located in a quiet area. The beach is behind the hotel with direct access Staff worked hard and was very friendly especially Gilberte and Daniel from Housekeeping Breakfast was really good Parking is not include and is expensive, but is Miami...

The staff at the desk was nasty- poor attitude. Unhelpful. No parking not even for handicap with an empty spot. Roaches in the tub. Oh while you pay 200 per night the staff parks in the drive way and tell you to find another spot for 40 per night. This was not made clear on the website..... no parking. We had to set an alarm to wake at 2:19 am to feed the meter. Stay on the main land drive over..... less stress. Bed HARD!! No microwave or ironing board. No view

The cleanliness and great service of all the employees exceeded our expectations. Location is a plus, we loved the direct access to the beach. We loved the coffee shop at the 4th Floor, Romulo makes the best coffee in town!!!

This is my number one spot perfect for someone like myself who likes conveniences all around with that said I like restaurants I like a walk in the park I like to walk on the beach and a beautiful ocean front view. This Best Western hotel is the best I have ever had a pleasure of spending my time with.

We booked the room for a lower price but I didn't expect that Best Western will offer such a low quality accommodation. The carpet in the room and hallway is dirty, our window was blocked with screws and the air coming from the air conditioner smelled of pot, also the room has a strong smell of mildew.

The hotel its self was nice I had no complaints (besides the high parking price) but thats neither here nor there. The problem was my room.. what looked to be a decent room turned to be a disaster. The air-conditioning unit in the ceiling leaked the whole time which made the carpet and some of our belongings wet. Including electronics. It was literally raining in our room. Other than that the stay would have been a decent one. It wasn't too pricey and the view from the balcony in our room was amazing. I would stay there again if the room didn't leak.

My husband passed away a year ago and I wanted to go back to the last placed we vacationed, so on 08/20/21 my daughter and I went back to the Best Western Atlantic Resort Hotel in Miami Beach. We checked in and noticed that our Oceanview room had not been cleaned.  I called the front desk, but no answer. My daughter and I fell asleep on top of the sheets. THIS HOTEL IS FILTHY! THE ONLY THING CLEAN IS THE LOBBY AND THE RESTAURANT! NO CLEANING DONE EVEN DURING COVID PANDEMIC!!! The next day, I went to the front desk and requested that Housekeeping come clean our room and change the sheets.  Dina at the front desk said she would send Housekeeping. Housekeeping arrived w/a large garbage bag with sheets and comforters, dropped the bag on the doorway nd told my daughter "Due to Covid you will have to change the sheets yourselves!"  The Housekeeper did not have on a mask, none of the staff wore masks, but due to COVID, he could not clean the room or change the sheets?  He informed us that there was "very limited cleaning being done," which is crazy. Since he refused to enter the room, change the sheets or clean, my daughter asked him for disinfectant, he gave her a bottle and told her that we could keep the bottle until we checked out because they would not be cleaning. Once he left, I called the front desk again, spoke with Dina.  Dina said she would get in touch with the Housekeeping Supervisor and come back to the phone, but left me holding for about 10 min.  I hung up, then I called the Rewards Customer Service line for Best Western, I filed a complaint. I spoke with Samantha, she informed me that I had to deal with the Hotel Mgr for a resolution until I checked out, but to call back after I checked out if the problem had not been resolved. Our complaints were documented and reported to the Corporate office: -Blonde and brunette hairs and food stains in bed (My daughter slept on top of the sheets the comforter the first night) -Urine stains under toilet seat (we cleaned the toilet the next day when we received the bottle of disinfectant from Housekeeping) -Balls of hair on floor (Housekeeping did not vacuum before we checked in or while we were there) -Broken and noisy elevator (elevator was worked on while we were there, but was very noisy and scary when repaired) -Very loud upstairs guest (assuming child) that thumped all throughout the day (at least not all night.) -Asked to change sheets myself after discovering they were not changed prior to check in (Housekeeping finally showed up again after Corp. Office told me to hold while they called them about my complaint) On Aug. 23rd, I discovered fraudulent charges on my bill at check-out.  When I asked for a detail of the added charges, Dina could not provide me with the details of those charges.  I explained that I only ate at the hotel once and had a carry out order on the 3rd day, but paid for those charges separately with my credit card and showed her those receipts.  A corrected receipt was given to me for the correct total of $672.90. On 08/23/21, after I boarded the plane, Yirida, the Hotel Manager fraudulently charged an additional $194 to my card and reversed the return of my $150 deposit and added additional charges totaling $350 to my card without my permission. - I called the Best Western Rewards Corp. Office again at 4:40 p.m., once I received the text alert, I spoke with Lisette, I informed her that the Hotel Manager retaliated against me and fraudulently charged an additional $350 to my card because of my complaints to Corporate Office. She added this information to my ticket. I also asked that the Hotel Manager not contact me and that the Manager respond to the Corp. Office, but the General Manager, Barb Romano sent me an email last night anyway from an email address that does not accept incoming emails, after 11 p.m. on 08/25/21; an email was filled w/lies, the truth is this: the staff did not clean the room prior to our check-in, they accused my daughter and I of wasting “red soda on the carpet” to try to justify charging me over $1000 for a room that wasn't worth $200.

Worst experience ever. The male manager at the front is rude and ignores calls. The carpet smells smells like mildew and mold. Most appliances like the air conditioner, fridge, and coffeemaker had problems and when I called for services the male would ignore my request. The sheets had sand in them and it took 3 hours for housekeeping to come but that was only because we stopped her in the hallway. She said that no one informed Her about anything. She also told us that the cleaning services for the sheets and towels was cancelled due to Covid-19, so a lot of sheets were dirty and being reused. We payed for a balcony beach view and received a side room with no view or balcony and the hotel would not refund us because we booked through booking.com. The breakfast was overpriced and meat were touching each other such as the pork and the beef. The pool is dirty and most of the chairs were broken. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Spiders everywhere, false fire alarms, broken elevator, horrible service, the service Klerk was so rude and preferred ignored us, I do not recommend this hotel in any curcumstances. Spider bites everywhere and we almost died in the broken elevator

Upon arrival started out bad so I knew this would not be a good experience. The lady at the front desk gave an attitude soon as we were trying to check in next the room smells old and the bathroom has a rusty tub and door. We had to go through so much just to get towels the pool was always crowded and the bar by the pool was always closed. Also, I left my purse in the hotel and remembered when I got home I called the same day and was told no housekeeper was on the property so I had to wait the next day when I called the next day was told nothing was in the room when of course my purse was left in the room so I got the run around about that I was told the housekeeper checked but didn't find anything so two options tell me they either took it or never cleaned the room and the next guest took it so if you are not cleaning the room and covid is going around that's a cause for concern it is not their fault I left my item but the business should have the integrity to at least wait to see if someone would call for their items instead of stealing. I reported this hotel to the BBB for theft and the CDC for the not-so cleanliness of the hotel since no housekeeper took my purse allegedly they claim the next guest did. Also while there they claimed the fire alarm was pulled but the alarm did not work througout the building only on certain floors so if their was a fire that would not be good the fire department came but didnt find anything the hotel next door The Crown pool looks better and seem better as well as The Cadillac this hotel doesnt even look like it belongs in the area. I read the reviews of other people before I went to MIA and they were right foolish me never no more . rethink your options. Oh yeah one more thing ants was on the bed and walls we did get another room but thats just nasty I bet nothing was done about that.

My wife And I had a great weekend in Miami Beach, hotel's location is wonderful! Rooms are clean and large with a lovely balcony facing the ocean. Employees are very friendly and polite The Pool is small but nice, stop at the Bar and enjoy the mojitos!!! We Will come back soon!

The Best Western is a great hotel! Very quick check in, our room was on the top floor, we had amazing views of the ocean and the city and a nice balcony. The beds are nice and comfortable, even though we had a double bed I still slept the best I have slept in a while in a hotel. The only thing I wish is that our room would have been cleaned at least once during our 5 night stay. (but I understand since we chose to travel during the pandemic) When our garbage needed taken out they did come pick it up outside of our door and if we needed new towels we just called the front desk. We didn't visit the restaurant as it was only open a couple of days, but I did get a chance to get a coffee from the coffee shop on the 4th floor. was the best coffee I had while in Miami! We didn't visit the pool because we were on the beach. One thing I wish is that the hotel would have a key gate to get back from the ocean, they lock the gate at around 8 at night and you have to walk around the block to get back into the hotel. Other hotels had nice gates that their guests could use their room key in. I would recommend the Best Western, it was a great, no fuss hotel directly on the beach in an awesome location!!

The hotel looked clean outside and inside my room was amazing in the 6 floor ocean view and the bathroom had this beautiful roses made out of towels I called front desk for towels and with in 10 minutes or less I had all my new towels brought up to my room.... bar by the Pool drink price was not that expensive for Miami Beach..... I love that the hotel has a walking path to the beach and they have ppl from the hotel working at the beach they rent the Chairs and I didn't ask but maybe umbrellas too. Over all 100% recommend staying here at the best western plus at Miami Beach

I had a blast at Best Western. The maids were so sweet and the house man was very helpful. There was so much to do in the hotel alone from bar , to the restaurant , to the pool table. Loved everything about it. Best part was the ocean front view.

Ants everywhere Odor Looks old Staff hang out in empty rooms instead of cleaning leaving garbage overflow. Manager hides in back front desk while front counter is busy instead of helping. Manager does not follow up if staff is cleaning. Its disgusting go somewhere else! Not here!

Check in was terrible, unwilling to compensate for inconvenience, rooms and hallway odor, windows didn't lock and easy access to ppl next door, no pool or beach towels for amount of ppl (1 to 2 per group and I had a group of 5)... reservation was not correct it was supposed to include breakfast but did not. Took an hour to get into room and 5 trips to desk to get into room cards did not work... no answer at front desk called 15 times back to back... no wash cloths... gave us 1 cloth and 2 towels for a suite with 5 ppl.. will never come back

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Miami at Best Western Plus Atlantic Beach Hotel. We love the view from our balcony and the location, the beach is rihgt at the hotel. Perfect place for a short getaway or longer stay. The staff was very friendly and very attentive.

This hotel is in a good location, on Collins. It can be improved. The people at the front desk are nice. The amenities could be better. The beach access is the best part of this hotel. The rooms could be updated.

Girl was irritated when arrival, hallway stink & lined with trash, stains on lamps, curtain and shower curtain, toilet handle hanging, two phones one don't work, front desk doesnt answer when called, didn't get extra towels when asked had to get ourselves & room wasn't serviced entire stay.

The initial check-in process was great. We weren't able to get clean towels for 2 days. It took 24 hours to get an iron and ironing board brought to our room. The shower floor and shower were rusted. Also, there was exposed wiring at the service elevator. Unsafe property!

The hotel is located right along the beach that's the only positive. Rooms are outdated, hallways and ceilings are distressed.Water damage all over the place. Some staff members were great some were terrible. Front desk only has 1 person working at a time usually and is very hard to contact over the phone.

My room did not have the blanket covers only the bottom sheets so I had to go ask for them at front desk, there was a sign in the restroom that said don't take towels to pool that they will have towels , which was not correct they never had towels at the pool I had to go all wet to ask for towels at front desk, also the water on the shower was stuck it would take like 30 minutes to go down and I had to shower with the dirty water that would accumulate when I was showering , the beds were wayyy to small , I got a room with 2 beds and it said it sleep 4 people but those beds were always to small it could not even sleep us 3 people, so yeah I will not stay there ever again , the Hispanic guy was really nice though that was the only good thing about the hotel.

There was no parking available at the hotel. We had to go in search of parking nearby and walk back to the hotel. When we checked in we were informed no one will clean our room during the week we stayed there and even if we needed the room cleaned no one will come to the room and clean until after we check out. The hotel restaurant was only open during limited hours on weekends and only available for takeout only during the weekdays although they added a mandatory gratuity to every invoice. When we needed towels we would have to walk go to the front desk and ask for towels and carry the towels to our room ourselves. The tub drain didn't work and dirty water floated around our feet when we showered. The pool is very small. They charge for beach chairs and umbrellas. No one answers the phone at the front desk. Don't stay here.

I truly doubt I would, stay at this location again, for one the location itself isn't where I assumed it would be and the fact that the hotel is in between construction and whatever else is going on right there. I would rather pay a resort fee to have everything included, than to have to pay for this here and that there, the front desk didn't want to even give a complementary bottle of water. The floor we stayed on smelled like marijuana. I know guest were smoking because, it was stronger at times walking by. The path to the beach could be better it's trashed and broke down. As a female walking, with my daughters to the parking lot at night is terrifying, there should be some way to gain entrance some how to the garage from inside. I understand this isn't a major resort, but to have the resort added to the title of this hotel is a bit deceiving. YOU PAY FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! never again!!

We stayed from 7/1-7/5. I was able to check in online. Not sure if that sped up the process in person, but check-in was pretty quick on site. I purchased the last parking pass which was great because parking is expensive and limited in the area. The room was a good size and to my surprise had two bathrooms! Didn't remember seeing that in the room description. The only negative was that we found a few strands of hair wrapped up in a bath towel and the sink wasn't rinsed well. We got more towels and I rinsed the sink - problem solved. Exercise room has a variety of equipment for vacation workouts. We didn't use the pool. It was always crowded and closed at 8. The rear of the bldg has an exit to the beach. Wasn't able to rent chairs when I went and didn't ask about it, but they were locked up on the beach so I guess renting is an option. There's also a walking trail between the hotel and beach to walk, run, ride bikes, etc. There are several food options nearby. Wasn't super impressed with the ones in walking distance. There's a CVS across the street. There was a road detour and that was inconvenient and created a lot of traffic. Staff were helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Yadira is the worst manager. Hospitality is not her strong suit. Her rooms are dirty, moldy and broke down. She's not willing to fix the issues. She doesn't listen to her guest and with that she lost potential for more business I was going to bring her. I wouldn't recommend this place to a homeless roach.

Ok here's the good the bad and the ugly The Best Western Plus Atlantic Beach Resort Location: the area was great because it was located in Miami Beach! When you walk outside the front door you could walk across the street to CVS for items you might have forgotten or snacks. When you step outside in the rear you can lounge at the pool or venture pass the boardwalk and go straight to the beach!!!! It was perfect to have the beach a few steps from your hotel. I also found it odd that people congregate in the front of the hotel for no reason at all hours of the day. Hotel Lobby: The lobby was very clean and presentable. There was a restaurant open for breakfast lunch and dinner. A fitness center that was up to date with fitness machines and on the 4th floor there was the Wave bar where you could purchase smoothies frappuccinos and fruits. You can also play a game of pool to pass the time. Pool: The pool was clean and there were towels available to use. There was a pool bar but didn't see anyone there to serve drinks. Room: The room was on the 9th floor. The hallway smelled like they had just cleaned it with a citrus disinfectant spray. The room was mediocre. The room had a great view of the city to the right and a beautiful view of the ocean to the left once you walked out onto the balcony. The balcony door had a huge lower metal frame, if you don't pay attention you couldn't damage a toe. Make sure you lift your legs over the frame. The beds were very comfortable and I slept peacefully. The walls needed to be cleaned because there were cuff marks on then. There was a hand mirror that was behind the dresser that hadn't been found. The plugs worked and TV remote was working as well. There was no hallway drama or smoking was going on at the time that I was a guest. Bathroom: ok here were we go. The toilet had a leak but when brought to the desk's attention they sent someone right away. And they were able to fix the leak. The bathroom fan didn't work so there was no circulation or ventilation for steam to go. There was also black mood in the crevices of the shower tile. And rust around the hinges of the door. Probably due to no ventilation. Price: The price of the hotel is by far the best. Now the question is... Would I stay there again Absolutely... I stayed long enough to take a catnap shower and change. No sleeping. This is Miami Beach!!!!!

Real view here stayed from 6/2-6/7 upon checking in was told that room would not be cleaned during the stay which was OK. However so many reviewers cry about this and its already known when checking in. So I stayed on 10th floor 1004 which they call PH, but definitely not a Penthouse room. However rooms were clean fully stocked smelled fresh. The hotel is in a great area to relax have fun its not as busy as south beach but it has its attractions. Also hotel sits right on the beach easy access. So for the price its great it has its hiccup's but nothing major. Last but not lease if your a complainer try the Fountainebleau lot a more lights but same service as any hotel in Miami during the pandemic.

Front desk personal set the tone for an enjoyable stay. The ventilation in the room needed servicing (bathroom fan not operable, AC unit dripped condensation on the carpet, which created a damp spot, slight odor in the room, AC unit was loud and did not come on as frequently through out the night) Beach chair service not operated by hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and very delicious. Limited parking space.

I regret my stay...almost broke my neck in the bathtub cos it was slimy. Room smell, hallway smell. I cried all through that night and checked out immediately next day. Would have left that night but was exhausted from a long flight. You guys can do better. Terrible experience

Best Western is our go to hotel. This particular stay at Best Western Atlantic Beach in Miami was very disappointing though. The room was fine, the staff was nice but what made it almost unbearable was the constant smell of marijuana permeating throughout the hotel and into my room. The smell literally woke me up in the night! Really, this is NOT ok and put such a damper on our vacation. Couldn't wait to check out.

Went on a girls trip with my family we picked the Best Western Atlantic Beach Resort as our hotel of choice and we were pretty surprise at the hotel it was very nice and spacious it had an extra bathroom to our surprise and it accommodated my whole group we had two balconies front desk was nice and courteous I will give this hotel 10 out of 10 in the value was also great and hotel is in a good location close to a lot of places... only downfall was there was a lot of construction in the area but it was still easy to maneuver and get around and the construction was also out of the hotels control but there wasn't any loud noises from the construction being done so overall like I stated I gave them a 10 out of 10 and I definitely will be staying when I go back to Miami

We only stayed one night, but were very disappointed in our stay. Parking was very limited, but that was the only bright spot of our stay as we luckily found a spot. We were assigned a room that was not cleaned after the last guests, although the view was great. We were then assigned a room that was clean and furnishings acceptable, we had a view of a roof. The staff didn't seem interested in making our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was not included like other BW Plus locations. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

We stayed here 1 night. Hotel is right on the beach and it is a nice place. However, a lot of construction going on around the property making it very difficult to get there. Tried calling the hotel directly 3 times will we were driving around to get advice and no answer...phone just rang and rang until it hung up. Same thing happened once I was in the room. Tried to call the front desk a number of times and no answer, not even a "please hold". Second issue with this property is the parking. I'm guessing by the number of rooms on our floor that this hotel probably has 200+ rooms. Parking is in a small parking garage that holds maybe 25 cars at best (we got the last spot for the night). I asked what about people arriving after me and was told that they would need to park in a public pay parking structure down the street. Now that's just what I want to do on my vacation, haul my luggage from a parking garage down the street to my hotel. Last comment I have is that I can't remember the last time I stayed at a Best Western where I had to pay for breakfast. I get the whole Covid precautions, but charging full menu prices for breakfast in a to go box seems a bit much. Like I said, very nice room and property once you get there and find parking, but to me those were pretty big issues.

We had reserved the room for 3 days and it was clean and ready for us when we got there with no wait. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and it is also located on the beach.

We came to Miami for my birthday and for Mother's Day and the first hotel I stayed at was trash but this one was wonderful! It's smelled great when you walked in and the staff, especially Gonzalo, were fantastic!! They took such great care of us and made the stay wonderful!! Would definitely love to come back! The place was clean and the room was very spacious! Definitely recommend staying here!

I don't even know where to start. This hotel is disgusting. The rooms are old and not well taken care of. It took a long time to check in, they promised us 2 rooms close together and they were actually on completely separate floors, then they didn't have parking for us. They said they ran out of parking spots. No one answers the phone when you call for towels or anything else. It smells like wet dirty dog in the hallways, the pool is not well taken care. There is a bunch of sand in the bottom of the pool and it doesn't look clean at all. The staff isn't very nice and not helpful at all. Our sliding glass door in the room didn't close all the way so our air conditioning didn't work well and we couldn't close it at night. There was wind coming in constantly. I would never recommend this hotel and definitely would never go back. It should have 0 stars!!!!! So disappointed.

The hotel is very nice and convenient for it's location. There are small shops at walking distance and the ocean it's the hotels backyard. The hotel sits on a busy street but the noise from the street can barely be heard inside the rooms. The beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. Only thing I wasn't too happy about was the clarity when booking ocean front room. You have to be specific and call to let them know you want to be have ocean FRONT view. We received a ocean side view with view of the hotel next door.

The staff was very helpful, we arrived at 2 AM after a long flight delay and we were welcomed and assisted, felt good after the craziness. Shuttle service to shopping areas and beach is across the street with your own special area as needed. Pool was great on roof top.

I'm goin keep it REAL real. This is a GREAT hotel for the price, location and what you get. My homegirl and I paid $600 for the weekend for our oceanview balcony room that was right on the beach. You're not going to find a better deal. Let me break it down why: - AREA: it's in the Mid Beach area. A 10 min Uber ride from South Beach and about 15 min ride from the North Beach area. PERFECT spot if you just want access to the popular areas but don't want to be in the midst of all the foolishness. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, stores and things to do in the area. Also, they were constructing a beachwalk area that sits in between the beach and the all of the beachfront properties. You can walk it, bike it, skate, jog, etc. - BEACH: It's literally right outside of the hotel. All you had to do is go out 5he back door, cut around the pool and you walk right out on the beach. The rentals were super cheap. Only $20 for 2 loungers and 1 umbrella for the whole day. That's cheap. The beach area was clean, laid back and we were able to order food and drinks from the pool bar and bring it out there. - HOTEL: This is very much a Best Western. It is not shiny and pristine like some of the other properties nearby. The lobby was updated and looked semi new. They had a fitness room, restaurant, outdoor pool with additional seating to eat and drink and there were also some conference rooms, laundry room, vending/microwave room downstairs. Not all of the common areas were renovated. Some still looked very dated. BUT, everything was consistently being cleaned. I remembered always seeing someone cleaning the public bathrooms, lobby area, etc. The only place that could used more cleaning was the area near the ice machine by the exit door leading to the pool/beach area. The hallways smelled very dank. Like there was excessive moisture at one point and it got trapped in the carpet. Other than that, the hotel was decent. - ROOM: We had and oceanview room with a balcony on the 8th floor. To the left we had a beautiful view of the water and beach, to the right we had a view of the city, and in front of us it was hotel next door. For $600 for the weekend, the view wasn't bad. Only thing I didn't like was our view below and it was roof of the a lower level of the hotel, if that makes sense. Our room was clean, smelled clean, updated furnishings, clean balcony, everything worked, it was pleasant. The bathroom was tiny though. Not alot of space to mover around. Other than that, we enjoyed the room. - SERVICE: We received great service for the most part! Our rooms weren't ready upon arrival so we had them hold our bags. We left and went and had lunch. They texted us within about and an hour and half saying our room was ready. When getting our bags, they gave us the wrong bags. They got it right eventually. I think they are just reading the luggage tag numbers wrong. There was so room cleaning as with most properties right now. It did take a few calls to get fresh towels because staff was short. Which is the way it's been lately with travel so we were prepared for that right out the gate. The pool bar had one person so getting food and drinks too some waiting as well. Other than that, they answered the phones right away most of the time. Everyone was pleasant and professional. Most rooms like ours in the area were an easy $1000 or more for the weekend. To me, this hotel works when you just want to get away for the weekend and stay right on the beach in a nice area away from the noise but close enough. I would definitely go back.

We had a beachfront room, I think if it was in another location in the hotel I would've been highly dissatisfied. The lobby was nice, but since we were there to relax we put all the minor things to the side and enjoyed the view and the beach. The bedding wasn't thick to have a cool temperature room at night. The bathroom was rather small toilet too close to the wall with no room to move and it's positioned behind the door. The staff was very friendly, but for almost 1000......it wasn't worth it.

Had 2 rooms both were beyond filthy. Had Ramen noodles crushed on the floor by the elevator for 2 days trash piled outside of rooms on floor for multiple days. Room smelled like bad socks Hotel staff seemed annoyed when asked to clean.

Perfect location, not directly in the busy area, just outside of it. The Tavern across the street was excellent. Daria at the bar is a pro. Loved the view from the room, tho will ask for front facing room next time. Gonzo was very nice at the desk as well. Very informative and helpful.

I had a free night , so we used it for our last night of vacation. Mostly do to free night and easy access to freeway taking us to airport. It was not best westerns fault that there was street and board walk construction. But there should have been more communication to guests that parking and getting to hotel would be a significant issue. In general the staff was indifferent to this issue. No on site parking was also frustrating as the parking garage charged us $45.

This hotel should be rated negative star and should be labeled as motel. The issues with it is a s follow: 1- scam you with ocean view room. Which in our case was overlooking the garage and the stupid surrounding buildings. You have to peak from the balcony to see the hotel. 2- noise all around do you construction in the adjacent building, the noise on the street and noise in the back due to board walk reconstruction. You can clearly hear your neighbors. 3- their so called COVID is hypocrite policy they will not clean your room even if you have extended stay like us. But their front desk people will not wear a mask during conversation with you. In my case I told the front desk guy put your mask on please. 4- safety they didn't lock the entrance from the beach until we notified them so they started locking the pool and the door to board walk which should be common sense. We had a big guy nocking at our door at night we called front desk no answer I was very close to call 911 as the guy insisted on knocking on my door again eventually he gave up and I lost a night sleep because of that. 5- I don't believe them when it comes to cleaning the rooms between guest. Our room coffee machine didn't work and took full day to be replaced. And our shampoo and body wash containers where empty. So if they really did clean and checked the rooms it will be all be fixed before the next guest. 6- front desk personal don't qualify to flip burger. Very rude and don't know what polite or curtsy is. They need to be trained or have a good manager to teach them manner then teach they how to work in a hotel reception. I am talking about male personal David, and his coworker who he presented as manager when I asked for one. And he confessed he was not a manger the next day I talked to him. 7. The room key is another joke. They keep loosing programming so if you are going from the beach and need to use the bathroom you might as well pee yourself coz the door key will not work. They said don't put the key next to your cellphone or in your wallet or you expose it to water. And I did that all the time and still have to visit them several time everyday to fix my key. And guess what it is a long wait to get they key fixed as a lot of people are waiting online all time?? 8. Bottom line do yourself a big favor and don't stay in this place. Otherwise you simply pay to get harassed and annoyed. 9. I called and complained to their customer support at corporate level. And no actions was taken. 10. The hotel location is good but nothing else Is good about it. It is going downhill because of poor or none existence of any management

Did not receive info on new Covid19 housekeeping rules. Waited too long for towels. Never saw any housekeeper during the day. Broken toilet handle and bathroom mirror bulb. Carpets need a deep clean. Unfortunate outside construction all day. Unable to walk the board walk. Balcony view was spectacular. Beds very comfortable.

No parking due to construction, no free breakfast as advertised, ice machines out of order, tv had volume issues, phone in room malfunctioned, closest parking was 42 dollars a day. It was terrible!!!!

Usually when I stay in hotels, I choose best western because I'm a member. However, the reviews of this hotel were terrible and almost made me tried another place. But I had an overall good experience. They inside of the rooms were okay , nothing special but we were only in there to pregame and go to sleep. The beds weren't the comfiest but I've had worse. I will say I was disappointed that I couldn't use the black out curtains. I have trouble sleeping at night and need total darkness to sleep. But our curtains wouldn't cover the whole windows. When I requested towels, guest services were quick to deliver them ! Yes there was a ton of construction but wasn't the fault of the hotel. We managed with it though and didn't effect our direct access to the beach. The hotel is conveniently across the free bus stop and free trolley stop, which saved us a ton of money in ubers when going to south beach. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you're looking to go to Miami on a budget.

Location is great on the beach and lobby is beautiful. Rooms were clean nothing fancy. Breakfast was not included and parking was nonexistent. We parked 15min away in public parking garage. We did not get room we reserved and rude staff didn't care. Room rate was not adjusted and our room never came available.

Very happy with our stay in this hotel. Everyone was super nice and friendly Hotel was spotless! Location is super, just in the beach bedding comfortable, rooms very accommodating. Overall, great service, clean, and affordable

This place was overall okay. I liked that it was on the beach and the rooms were comfortable. However, we had trouble checking in because they misplaced our reservation. I know this isn't their fault but the construction on the street made it very difficult to reach the hotel. They also have limited parking. One last thing: they need to clean the halls, elevators, and lobby more often and more efficiently. There was vomit in one of the elevators. Also, only 2 floors had working ice machines and fully stocked vending machines. Overall, there's definitely room for improvement.

The hotels website does not warn you about construction. The boardwalk between the hotel and beach is under construction and unusable forcing you to walk on the streets in front of the hotel. Also, no fault of the hotel the street in front of the hotel is under construction. They have the lanes barricaded in between. Getting to the hotel was a nightmare because you could not turn into the hotel because of the barricades. We had to go up at least 1 mile then back down to get to the hotel. Also, a lot of the crosswalks are closed. You have to walk farther out of your way to get to restaurants, etc. For the hotel itself-the elevators are very slow which gets frustrating, our partial ocean view room you could barely see the beach, most of the view was the ugly building next door. The bathroom was TINY! People ran the hallways all night long being really loud til 5 am! The pool is TINY, the pool bar was not open at 11 am and no towels were ever available. The best part of this hotel was the beach is awesome! When we entered the beach a couple of gentleman offered us 4 chairs, 2 tables, and a cabana tent for $50, that is a steal! We enjoyed our beach day very much at this hotel.

As you pull up to this place you think to yourself for a moment wow this place looks good! The lobby is good too they've obviously put some work into that too. Then you board the elevator to go up to the room and as the elevator doors open the smell hits, thankfully its not terribly overpowering and its kinda a daily covid test! The rooms is nothing special, we got the ocean view room. very hard beds. The internet sorta works, but actually worked best for me out on the beach. The shower took all day to drain. if you want towels don't wait to long to request them as I waited a few hours for mine. over all just not an impressive place, very run down and in need of some work. Front desk staff sucks, they were slow and unfriendly .. my advice stay next door at the confidant!

I paid almoist $500 for 3 nights. When I get there the staff at reception sucked !They require a $150 deposit which I to be insane. The odor coming out of the elevator (8th floor) was disgusting. It smelled like mold. The odor continued into the room but not as bad. There was NO housekeeping ! Had to go to reception to ask for towels ! Our garbage piled up ! No room service ! The pools is tiny ! The pool area was dirty ! Lets not mention the construction taking place in the area which meant NOISE early in the A.M !! The A.C unit made noise like an old car when on. OMG ! Never again. Pls stay elsewhere if you're staying in Miami Beach !

This hotel just flat sucks. They don't follow through on anything. Even if they aren't going to clean the rooms, they should take stuff on a schedule and bring supplies when asked for. None of that happens. Management is zero help. They don't want you using the room towels and they aren't providing pool towels. It's a zero sum game. All the rooms I was in had non functional toilets and non draining bathtubs showers. Plus they don't mention that the whole street is ripped up in front of it and the beach walk is being rebuilt for miles to the south and north of the property. Never stay here. They wont even give you a second roll of TeePee!!! WTF

Cheaper rooms compared to the rest of the hotels. Upgrade to the oceanFRONT room because that will be the only good thing you remember about this hotel. Terrible front desk service (stay away from Danielle). Don't expect anyone to answer the front desk phone if you call from your room . Basically if you aren't spending much time at the hotel then this is the place for you , good location, and fair priced. Wouldn't recommend to the older crowd as you will be disappointed in the provided service. It's a shame this location is so terrible , it effects the name and reputation of Best Western!

The hotel was great, The resceptionist was very kind and willing to help us find places such as the pool, Or gym, Quick thing here the gym Is amazing and giant! Anything you can think of the gym has It, The pool Is a kidney pool and goes from 3-6 Feet Deep, Which was fun, Fast response from housekeeping and their food Is great! The beach Is literally their BACK YARD It's crazy! They deliver your food to the beach aswell, And when we step out we see some amazing art, Inside and even outside, Only bad part? Our room didn't have the best view, We were looking at a rusty chimny But you could still see the beach, I'd say stay here! However the bathroom Is a little small but It's fine, And the shower has multiple modes for the shower head.

Very dingy scary hotel Room stank from smoke and couldnt sleep a whole nioght becahue of noise ion the floor , and front desk ignored the call even after calling a few times the checkin was very unfreindly and rude the bill was very unacurate and i was charged more

Hotel was clean and staff was nice. Great price. Only problem was there was tons of people constantly in the lobby without a mask on. The front desk staff did not seem bothered as they were talking to the people with no mask on without a problem. No one said anything which is a little ridiculous if you ask me.

Stayed here for 3 nights january 2021, enjoyed our stay. Room was clean with a great ocean view, we stayed in a king room oceanfront. Bathroom was alittle tight but suited our needs. Pool is old school kidney shape if you want a nice pool look somewhere else. David checked us in with in minutes and showed us to the elevators. Beach is a sort walk with chairs available for $20 a pair, vendor was friendly and courtesy. For the price i paid i would stay agian, this is not a 5 star hotel it is a best western on Miami Beach that offers a clean and suitable atmosphere to get some R&R.

Disappointed we were not told we would have a hard time getting to the beach from the hotel. Only reason we booked this hotel cause we thought it was a trusted brand and there was beach access. There was a lot of noise in the hotel and the employees did not bother to explain anything about the amenities. When asking them questions they seemed to not understand and glaze over or just not answer.

first let me say.... if you have the funds to stay in miami, stay somewhere else. second.... the pictures do not accurately represent what you get. the good.... beds were comfortable and it was clean but honestly, nothing stands out. Its just a mediocre motel. You basically get half what you paid for, party i assume because of covid precautions. the bad.... indoor bar closed, outdoor bar open noon-5, pool is small and only open daylight to dark. Restaurant closed except for breakfast(not continental) and dinner only open fri and sat. Construction has the roads a mess. Construction in-between motel and beach(ugly) Construction on motel next door(jack hammering concrete all day) no outdoor chess, no outdoor shuffleboard. pictures had to be taken when it was newly opened

Upon arrival the express check i did online the front desk said i would have to do it with him because it never works. After waiting for my other family and friends to check in their suite which they over booked the hotel so my family had to get two separate rooms and only one was ready the other one had to be cleaned and was ready until after we returned to the hotel around 9. After entering my room and looked out the window the view was horrible construction was being done on the building next door when i open the curtains all the worker started yelling rude sexual comments called front desk to move room and was told we could not Now to have smell of Pine Sol in the room like it was just poured to cover up the smell of mildew that was in the other parts of the hotel especially the LL where the only MIRCOWAVE is to warm food and it was dirty maybe from other guest using it ans staff not cleaning it! I called front desk and seen housekeeping in the hall and asked for clean towels never got any asked for another blanket because it was extremely cold and was told they didnt have any! The guest wifi didnt work! Called the front desk several time no answer went down no one was there! Asked for change for vending machine was rudely answered and the change machine was out of order!

This property is really nicer than I expected. The staff was all very friendly and courteous. There is a lot of construction going on around Collins Ave now but access the hotel is good but going south takes turning north and going around the block until the road work is complete. The staff was nice enough to offer me free parking in their secure garage.

We had a great time staying at this hotel! We stayed on the Ocean Front Room and it was an experience of a lifetime. Everything was spotless clean, also guests and staff respecting social distancing was a plus. No noise from the rooms like some hotels in Miami Beach. Family environment at it's best. I am definitely staying in this hotel for my next vacation time.

I've stayed at the Best Western Atlantic a total of 12 times since 8/20. Diana and Gonzalez are Rockstars. They know what it takes to accommodate, retain guests and treat you with respect. Assistant Manager Daniel is very professional and unfortunately lack those skills. He makes me feel as though it's a chore to check me in or provide me with the sole reason that I frequent this property. Also, I am a Gold member and earn perks throughout my travels. Daniel really makes it difficult for me to redeem those rewards that are earned. He's not Mr. Personality (which is fine) but definitely does not understand customer retention. I may begin searching for other affordable oceanfront properties just to have a backup plan. Otherwise, the views are amazing. Rooms are clean and well equipped. S Beach is beautiful and this hotel is a diamond.

Location is great and beach is lovely. It is easily walkable to South Beach. Budget-friendly place to stay. Our boys loved the pool table. The breakfast and lunch were good. The staff at the pool bar were nice - the pizza and buckets of beer were great! Only negative was constantly asking for towels...and the boardwalk is under construction.

I read the reviews before booking this hotel and they were right on point. The bathroom is very small with barely any counter space., barely any room between the sink and wall if you're sitting on the crapper. The parking was very limited and they even encourage you to park off-site in a garage a couple block away. The construction around the property right now sucks, hard to get in the front and the boardwalk out back we were looking forward to was fenced off and closed. Beyond that, the overall price for a room on the beach was fantastic, gotta appreciate the great rates and save some money. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was super clean which is very important. The views of the beach were great if you're above the 4th floor with a little balcony. Depending on what your looking for this is a pretty good hotel, and will be better when they finish all the construction outside. Aside from a few minor details the most important thing is if you stay here you are right on the beach in Miami. Have fun.

I live in Miami Beach, in fact about 15 blocks from this hotel. Due to necessary repairs at my house I booked this hotel for one night and then extended for a second night. It felt like a vacation being on a high floor with direct ocean views. I greatly enjoyed my stay and I will consider staying in the hotel occasionally to feel like I am on vacation in my own city.

We had several issues while staying in the hotel but whenever I called they came running to fix it. Everyone I dealt with on the staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. The location right on the beach and being able to have a beach view from your room is very nice. I would say this hotel itself is getting pretty run down in the hallways and rooms and need to get some upgrades but you do get what you pay for. There is road construction all around the hotel so it gets a little tricky getting in and out. The double room has double beds not queens and they are so tiny for 2 grown adults. The pool onsite was very nice and a comfortable temperature. It is very frustrating there is no ramp in front or sliding doors for getting luggage in and out of the building. All in all it was not a bad stay for being on a budget.

Stayed in an Ocean View balcony room great view great staff, the lobby is very clean. Sadly that's where it ended the room was horrible mold in the bathroom, and not a little it was in several areas condensation running down the walls from the ac, the bed sheet had a tear in it, two phones in the room both had no dial tone. The internet kept kicking me out and asking me to log back in every couple of hours which was horrible when your trying to telework for a day. Since there was no room service during my stay I expected extra towels for a 3 day stay or at least free coffee nope! The ac vent blows directly on the bed and it blows hard like having a fan on you all night very uncomfortable. The tv needs to be replaced, the sound changes up and down by station and it flickered the remote was broken they had to replace it and it still had issues hence it's the tv receiver that seemed to have the problem, making it hard to change the channel or volume. The fire alarm went off in the middle of a conference loud call the loud speaker said to evacuate the building then they said it was a false alarm and let us back in, took them 30 minutes to shut it off. The fridge in the room is one of the better ones I've seen very cold and it has a great view of the ocean and the staff works hard with a dilapidated hotel trying to keep it looking & running but the hotel is not helping them super nice staff but that's all the positive I can say the room was not what I expected. Very disappointed.

Worst hotel ever please don't waste your money. Customer service horrible, they have nothing to offer, walls very thin mold in the hallway on the 9th floor. They have a 4 people capacity for the elevator and those elevators are very small. Nothing works in the hotel. You run out of toilet paper you have to go downstairs and get it, they won't bring it to you. They don't help you with your bags as you checking in and out. Nobody greets you when you come in. The automatic door doesn't work you have to be touching the pull in door, in this pandemic. They don't have a ramp you have to lift your luggages. Anybody can walk in at anytime and go to any floor, they don't have a key access elevator.

I stayed at this hotel recently on a vacation with my significant other and I think that is all I should say, but as any good reviewer I will unpack my stay. The check-in process was a little lacking in the customer service department and it almost felt as though I was more of a chore to check-in than a guest. Upon check-in I was told there was no onsite parking and that I would have to park 3 blocks down in this very creepy garage. Important to note that the location to park in is actually on the ramp between the 3rd and 4th floors of the garage. In getting to the room, the front sliding doors were blocked and everyone had to go through the single door which makes social distancing a little trouble. On the way to the room, there were people everywhere taking somewhat indecent pictures. The hallways had trash in them and also smelled of marijuana and whatever else was there. In going into the room, the tub handle was broken and when touched would fall off, the bathtub had rust marks, and the room was just a so so room without anything super exciting. The only thing super positive that comes to mind was the view from the balcony. All in all, other than the balcony view, the hotel was just a hotel and I could have received the same experience at a motel 6. I don't believe that I will be staying at this location again.

the hotel is well located but i got robbed in the room. no one was held responsible. I will never return to this hotel. They practically made fun when I asked for compensation, even though I was traveling the day after they asked me to make a report to the police. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE HOTEL.

My room was hot the whole 5 days I was there I told front desk they send someone up nothing down the water pressure was bad the internet didn't work porperly the was no acknowledgement at all of diamond select member no one at this hotel smile and the hote charged me2 times for the same room ! This was not a good beat western stay at all

Very nice, clean, and quiet hotel. The only downside would be the lack of activities or recreation services (especially during COVID-19 times). The pool is quite small, so it can get full very quickly. The beach is one step away from the hotel, which is awesome!

Beautiful oceanfront balcony view, great location right off the beach, clean hotel, wonderful helpful staff. This is my second time here and I love it, Bar food is good also. Wish it had more restaurants on collins

Our room was over and above what we were expecting. The staff was very nice and totally accommodating. What a luxury for a great price!! We will definitely be staying here again. What a wonderful surprise to find this place during a difficult time in our world!

My boys and I got the double bed suite and it was perfect. It came with a pull out couch that made things even better. The beach is right by the hotel. It's a matter of steps. Of course we just recently went so there wasn't much tourism and we basically had the beach to ourselves. Perfect timing for us. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfy, and the staff are awesome. Worth the stay.

My husband and I had a great time, Staff surprised us and upgraded our room to an ocean front directly looking towards the lovely beach. Thank you! Location is fab, Hotel is very clean, vibe is comfortable and friendly. We will came back soon!

Rooms were nice, bed comfy, beautiful view, warm pool, great beach, good price Tiny parking garage - one night there was no parking spots even though we paid, but staff was nice enough to refund. Loud (vulgar) music & hooka during day with small children in pool; loud music at night, but slept fine with windows closed. Construction on road, buildings next door, boardwalk is closed.

Run down hotel. Staff is terrible. Called day before to notify hotel that we would be arriving late. Bed did not have sheets and front desk said that housekeeping is closed. forced to sleep on mattress. Door deadbolt would not lock. Shower head was leaking and spraying ouside of shower. The opened beach access and pool an hour late. ATM not woking. Staff told us to go to hotel next store for working ATM. Parking spaces in garage are tiny.

This was a very beautiful hotel inside and outside. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. We had a great time although beach was closed due to the ongoing pandemic. It's about 20 minutes from Miami international Airport and there is also a store 2 minutes away.

Any time I get an expensive surprise I'm going to give and unfavorable review no if ands or buts about it. This expensive surprise came in the way of parking which I was charged $34.00 a night for. There was no mention of a parking charge when I booked the room and I found out late in our 3 night stay that there was a parking lot nearby we could have used that was much cheaper but we were never told about. Apparently, this tidbit of useful information is only give at the whim of the desk clerk who by the way had the personality of a snapping turtle from the get go and proceeded down hill when I objected to $150.00 refundable charge being but on my card for amenities. These amenities turned out to be for parking when questioned. This is how I learned about the charge for parking. Off to a bad start things didn't really improve while the room was clean it was tiny not at all comfortable for 3 people. The bathroom also very tiny! So tiny in fact that when you sit on the toilet your thighs touch the trash can. Then there was the huge trip hazard getting onto the balcony!!! The rail system for the sliding door sticks up about 4 inches and while they do have a sign that says watch your step it was covered by the curtains. The beds uncomfortable and by our last night all 3 of us had such sore backs we could barely walk. Getting to sleep and staying asleep difficult. Then to get to the parking garage from your room you have to go through the front door which takes you along the side of the hotel where you have construction going on but okay nothing can be done by the hotel about that but then you have trash on the sidewalk including two palm tree branch that were there all 4 days we were there. Both were well past dead and unsightly but one of them was also a trip hazard. Then there were the over hanging palm leaves and tree branches hanging low over the sidewalk making it impossible to pass through without either getting smacked in head or having to duck. The garage itself unsightly and sometimes had a strong smell of gasoline. The pool tiny especially for the size of the Hotel. Only one elevator worked our entire stay. No maid service for multi-night stays ostensibly because of Covid. No free breakfast. No restaurant at all! Pretty sure the fitness center was closed! All also blamed on Covid. Most of which could have been opened except for the Hotel decided not to go to the extra trouble to open them. Keep in mind that most of the "Ocean View" rooms are a side Partial view. And then there was the check out! It was quick I will give it that! I was asked as I approached if I was checking out. I said yes. She asked my room number which I gave. She typed something into the computer and said you're all set. That was it! NO did you enjoy your stay? NO thank you for staying with us. NO was everything okay? Nothing! Tells me they really DO NOT care. My husband and Iplan to return to the area in the near future and I am a die hard (though not sure why) Best Western customer but we will not be stay at this Best Western again. I do not recommend it to others.

I reserved an oceanfront balcony and was given one on the 7th floor. I originally was planning on staying for 3 nights but wanted to extend my trip so tentatively reserved an additional 4 days. I have to say that as I am a travel vlogger and have stayed at MANY hotels in different areas, this by FAR was the WORST I have ever experienced. I was looking forward to leaving my balcony doors open and falling asleep to the sound of the waves but boy was I wrong (AND sleep deprived). The pool is supposed to close at dusk, I verified this with the overnight agent and while it is summer and families do like to stay up a little late I can understand hanging outside til 10/11pm TOPS, but as the families go inside and get in bed the drunken chaos begins and goes ALL NIGHT in the pool with the latest I clocked at 330am (and mind you that was after not only calling the front desk 3 times to get them to deal with the situation, but also getting dressed, going downstairs and telling the agent directly face to face). I believe the agents name was Gonzalez and let me tell you, I think this guy was either too lazy or too scared to go deal with the issues outside. I do want to also add that every night I stayed there I witnessed guests with glass beer bottles IN THE POOL which is a HUGE no-no!!! Why won't anyone here monitor what goes on outside, especially after-hours? At one point after calling the front desk I was told that he would "send a security guard" out to tell them to go inside...well, that was a huge lie as no security guard went out there nor did I see ONE ever in that hotel. One of the other nights I called Gonzales snapped at ME and stated he "already talked to them". Well, that's just great, now get them to leave before you get your whole hotel in trouble because guest no longer will want to stay there! I didn't get to enjoy one night with the balcony I paid for and I even had to cancel the extra 4-night extension at that hotel and move over to the Nautilus by Arlo hotel for some middle of the night QUIET. Besides the all night drunken pool nonsense, the hotel's 7th floor smells like one of those underground tunnels that homeless people urinate in, its atrocious! There's food and debris all over the hallways that no one vacuumed for the 3 days I was here and the ceiling is leaking water not only in the hallways but in the rooms as well. You had to avoid walking down the middle of the hallway or else you'd get wet from the old gunky ceiling water dripping. The beach was nice, apart from all the seaweed, but the area is completely under construction so all you hear are bulldozers, drilling, saws etc. so it is not an enjoyable stay, for sure! I really hope this hotel gets their act together but based on recent reviews and my own experience, the management here doesn't seem to care about its reputation, or its guests and this hotel will continue to go downhill. I hope the management has the decency to refund me the difference for the balcony I paid for that I didn't get to enjoy. What a waste of my money and what a highly disappointing 1st part of my vacation.

Rude front desk agent Dana Yelled at my family from the desk to the elevators to put a mask on while her colleague was behind the desk with no mask... go figure Only one elevator working the other two are down. No towels at the pool had to bring our children cold and dripping to the rooms after asking for towels and waiting two hours no one brought towels. Roof is leaking in room from condensation. Construction next door so you can't enjoy the puddle of pool that they have. Chairs on the beach are inconsistent since it's a 3rd party sometimes they won't open. No one informed us during check in that my room wouldn't be serviced for my entire stay so I had to keep asking for towels and you have to go down to the front desk to get them and if your on PH the elevator will take an hour to go down. Horrible management horrible experience will never come back here again

This is an amazing property. Has a boardwalk to the beach. Also has a poll. Breakfast as well. There is also a little store across the street for snacks/ food as well as a liquor store! Also not far from the main strip of things. U can walk or uber.

Romuel is the manager and he is by far the laziest manager I know! If your thinking of staying at this hotel I certainty wouldn't. There are better hotel's around the area. I received 0 customer service from Romeul and other staff members. I was charged twice for 1 room for 1 night and Romeul has refused to give me my money back. I have been going back and fourth with customer care for nearly 12 months and still haven't received my money back and have been treated poorly.

I left early due to the corona virus, and everything being closed for spring break. This hotel didn't accommodate for anything. They checked me out after a day, the room was higher value than before, I paid for parking to a garage that had no empty spots. Also after leaving I have been receiving $100 charges for random fees which have totaled to what our total stay would have been, crooked people. Thank goodness banks have our backs. Just to add when I call no ones every available as far as management.

Given the price of South Beach, this hotel offered great value for the money. Amazingly clean, modern rooms Wonderful housekeeping staff - helpful and friendly Amenities were good 4 stars as far as South Beach hotels go. Highly recommended for a middle class budget.

This is our second visit to this property. It continues to exceed all our expectations. We had a lovely view from our ocean front room of the ocean and coastal beaches. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Rooms and common areas were clean and well maintained. It is a great location right on the beach and boardwalk, although the the boardwalk is currently under construction. There is a nice area right by the small pool and the ocean is just steps away. We took advantage of the option to rent 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella for a very reasonable rate. The in-house restaurant, Aqua, is an excellent option for dinner with a good variety at great prices. The free trolley stops nearby and is a great way to access nearby attractions and restaurants. We will definitely return next year.

I was in this hotel for the second time since I had a very good experience the first time But this time was a total trauma experience! I booked ocean view room they gave me the first floor and basically just got to see the pool. I asked to change to higher floor but were full. The last night a burglar entered my room while I was present at the time! came in from the balcony and emptied my purse from all my cash I had!! When I discovered in the middle of the night that I had uninvited guest I called the front desk they called police for me and made a report. The staff was very lazy to check cameras as when I tried asking the manager for help they were just not available! I called to speak to the manager but am still waiting for a call back a week later....

Bed bugs. Sister woke up covered in bites. The hotel didn't believe us. The manager only gave me a very very small discount for the inconvenience of us having to move. He did not do anything for us when it came to the bedbugs. We went to the store and got some things to treat the next room which we weren't reimbursed for. I will not be returning.

We booked this hotel last minute for our spontaneous gateway. It s located oceanfront with an easy beach access straight from the hotel pool. Since it was last minute we didn't have much choices with rooms and we got 2 double beds albeit in very reasonable price of $200 a night. The hotel is dated but nice. Our room was very clean and impecable. Bed was very comfortable. We arrived little after 10 am and our room was ready.The service, employees and the hotel cleanliness was superb!!! Pool was small but it is not an issue with the stunning beach in the back. You can rent inexpensively chairs, umbrella and towels. Breakfast buffet was inexpensive ($15 per person) and pretty good with omelettes on request. There are also good eating places close by. The free trolley ride is in front of the hotel which make it easy to go around without needing to drive your car, uber is inexpensive as well. Front desk gave us a complimentary late check out. Overall we enjoyed our time and we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for a night before out cruise... awesome views and close to everything. Great service! Clean rooms. Pool is close to the beach. It's like the beach is your backyard. Uber from her to everything wasn't bad in prices. Great value!

Only spent one night here. Very pleased with Hotel. We had a Ocean view room, which was brilliant. Good size and spotless. The view was breath taking, to see the sun rising over the ocean horizon, the beach so good. The Restaurant, although basic dinner menu, was decent,the staff friendly and the breakfast very good. Good pool and sun bathing area. Overall the hotel was a very pleasing experience. We would definitely return, if we come back to Miami

I have stayed at this hotel 7yrs ago multiple times and I loved it. I went back after 7 yrs and had called the hotel to manage to get a king size ocean view room. I understood they were sold out but the manager, Romelio, told me to call back the week I am coming to see if he can do something. I called him long distance 3 times, left messages with his employees to call me back and he DID NOT. When I got there, I asked for him and he was not working that day. I asked them to have him contact me the next day and he did not. I asked for his email and sent him an email explaining of my disatisfaction and well, he didNOT even reply to my email...HORRIBLE customer service....staff at reception were not very much welcoming, with attitude. Hotel is old, needs renovation and truly not worth staying there.

The front desk help at this location was totally lacking in common courtesy. They acted like any task the did was too difficult and above them. The restaurant help was worse - they even charged a dollar more for "ice" in our tea. ?!? Parking was almost nonexistent at $30+ per day. The bright light in all of this was being on the beach and the concierge/bell staff.

I stayed for business and i would go back for pleasure, Fabuluos location just in the beach. The room was clean and pretty good , amazing view of the ocean from balcony. The staff was really attentive and caring

This experience was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I checked into the Best Western Plus at 4101 Collins Ave. for a 3 week stay for business. Upon checking in, I was asked to switch my room type from a double to a single due to overcapacity in return for an oceanfront room, which I obliged, as this seemed like a decent exchange to help out with availability. After the reservation process was complete, I was given a standard single room and told that the hotel had a mixup and that they could not honor the upgraded room they offered, that I would get a call with an update (which I never got), and that there was no timeline available to let me know when I would be getting said call. I never did get that upgrade, they simply took my larger room with a balcony away and gave me a smaller room with no balcony. The following morning, I noticed a score of small red bumps on my hands and arms and didn't think much of it, as they were "probably mosquitos from walking on the beach". As days went by, I woke up with more and more bumps each day; some on my neck, many on my hands and arms, and a few on my ankles. One evening, I looked under and around my mattress for anything that may raise concern. What I found was extremely disturbing and discomforting, not to mention disgusting. At the top of my mattress, I noticed unmistakable evidence of a large amount of both live and dead bed bugs along with blood stains and bug residue. The hotel staff gave me a new room, but became combative when they saw me leaving my room. The desk agent claimed, quite aggressively, that I told him I was in a different room, when in fact he never even asked for my name or room number when he made the switch. Overall, the staff in this hotel was extremely unprofessional, unhelpful, clueless as to their own rules and policies, and quite frankly, an embarrassment to hospitality staff as a whole. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY.

This hotel is very well situated. Steps away from the beach. We had an ocean front room which was incredible. The hotel is dated but clean. Front desk staff are very helpful, Jaquelle in particular. The staff on the beach are very good as well. There are eating places close by. We tried the Tavern which was very good.

Located right on the beach, Rooms impecable clean and confortable, plus balcony overloking the ocean. Staff very friendly and always helpful. Loved the beach area. Pool was small but it is not an issue with the beach in the back :)

My family and I had an amazing time. The management was excellent. My youngest one keeps asking when we're gonna go back we just left. The wifi was great the front desk was extremely helpful and the food was amazing!

I loved my stay at this hotel. The service, employees and the hotel cleanliness was superb. I highly recommend staying here. It's close to everything. I'm looking forward to coming back in the summer.

I've stayed here before with my family and had to make a quick trip this time for work. As usual, I was greeted with a smile and the bellman remembered me! My room was impeccable and I had fruit and a welcome card on the first night. I ordered room service for breakfast. The food was good and on time! Thank you so much for always making me feel welcome.

This place is BAD!!!!!! We were scammed into having a diffrent room. No hot water, our toilet didnt work, smelled bad, smelled like marijuana/smoke. Was pretty much racist towards white people. Treated horribly! Had to plunge my own toilet and go down the street to use the bathroom. Refused to move us since they were booked. Horrible stay for how much we paid.

When you first arrive at the hotel you are met with a pleasant aroma that has become familiar to me at the Best Western properties. The lobby is very nice, but most importantly the service from Gonzalo was exceptional. He was busy, balancing multiple customers while at the same time training an employee, he did a great job staying on point and providing a high level of service to everyone. Good Job!! When you get Up to the floors, the years upon the hotel show, the room was a bit rough with paint layers and peeling ceilings, however, it was clean, quiet and comfortable! The pool area while small, was good and the pool water perfectly warm. The property is on the beach, exit through the pool and you are there; you can't get any closer! The hotel is on the far end of Collins Ave, away from the heavy traffic and crowds, yet close enough that you can walk to a few places. Overall, this is a very good property for its age group having weathered countless hurricanes and still standing strong! Huge potential with renovation to get it into the exceptional rating.

Front desk people help us with my family concern.We need an early check in because my daughter sea sick from our cruise. we need medicine and some stuff for her to feel better. Front desk helped with early check in, where to get what we need - my other children are ok and wants to swim and play at that time - we as a family were accomodated well. Overlall stay was awesome! Thank you to this twoladies that helped us ;)

Overall hotel is very dated. Pool is small and pool area was littered with trash. Our room had wet carpet from a leaky roof (we were on the top floor) and the toilet in our bathroom backed up twice within an 8-hour period. When we asked for a refund on our reservation (we were originally scheduled to stay 3 nights) they charged us a cancellation fee equal to one night's stay even though we had to move to another hotel since there were no comparable rooms to move us to within the hotel. There are many other quality hotels in Miami Beach - do not stay here.

What a great hotel we stayed at!!! Everyone worked there was super sweet and generous, special thanks to Ileana from Housekeeping and Gonzalo at the Front Desk! The swimming pool is small but cool, the beach was stunning! Cleanliness was impecable! We will visit again and will reccomend this hotel to our friends and family

First, be aware that the rooms do not all have balconies (even though the official pics suggest that they do). The "suites" face a crumbling condo about 10 fee away. They do not have balconies, and some of them do not even have windows that open. You cannot tell what the weather is by looking out the window. On the other hand, the pool area did not get crowded (even though we were there between Christmas and New Year's). I ended up just using the pool area as a place to hang out like a balcony. It was nice and quiet by the pool (whereas the larger, hipper hotels seem to have dj's by the pool). The pool was tiny but bathtub warm and very pleasant. The suites are very dark, with little natural light and very poor electric lighting. The beds are firm and comfortable but small (double size). Having two bathrooms per suite is great for a family. The quirky layout of of the building means you can't walk directly from the lobby to the pool. Instead you have to take a series of halls and a path through an alley. Annoyingly, there are locked doors along this path and between the public beach and the pool, and the electronic keys tend to fail about every 2 hours. The people at the front desk were pleasant and responsive. We arrived about eight p.m. and our room was ready. Some guests were complaining bitterly about a mix-up with a booking through a third party, but our booking direct with the hotel was fine. We reported a toilet that needed a new fill valve and it was repaired immediately. The housekeeping was a little bit sloppy, but acceptable. One odd occurrence was the disappearance of a big ziplock bag containing an electric razor, invisalign retainer, deodorant, etc. Hard to imagine it was stolen, but what else could have happened? This section of the beach is beautiful and family friendly. There are decent restaurants in the Confidante (Hyatt) and Cadillac (Marriott) hotels next door. Parking a half mile away in the big city garage worked for us ($8 per day). There also are restaurants there - an old-fashioned Italian restaurant, a French bakery, etc. The Best Western has a relatively inexpensive breakfast buffet which includes non-pork products and omelettes on request. The Cadillac has a great, more expensive breakast buffet. All in all, this place was a great value at a very expensive time of year.

As always the room was very clean, the amenities were very good, the swimming pool area was not crowded, the service at the bar was good, the hotel location is perfect right at the beach and very close to everything, shopping and good restaurants, the free bus ride stop is right in front of the hotel, which makes it easy to go around without needing to drive your car. The only thing that was a bit surprising was that the parking is not included on the rate and I found it pricey $36 per night and the spots were very tight, very hard to park. I definitely will be back.

Staying on the beach was great. We could just walk outside and enjoy the ocean. the bartender at the pool was great. 2 for 1 drink specials were nice. However, when we arrived, the hotel would not have a room ready till well after three. At 4 we just took a first floor corner room so we could get in a room. The view out the window was of a brick wall. When we asked about a late check out we were told there would be an extra charge for that. If the hotel cannot have rooms ready on time (many other hotel guests had the same thing happen to them) at the very least they can offer a free meal, discount on the room for the first night, or free late check out. There were other hotels in the area with the same rates. I would check out a different hotel next time.

This is a nice hotel if you know what to expect. 1. You must pay $35 for on-site parking but there is no elevator or ramp to get to the hotel. If you have a lot of luggage or a cooler you must allow the bell hop service to assist you. 2. Breakfast is not complimentary. 3. If you do not specify a room with a view your view is the hotel wall next door about 20 ft. away. 4. The "suite" room we got was simply 2 standard rooms combined but they should've removed the doors as they were just in the way. Other than that an excellent stay.

Cleaning is fair, but they take the towels and leave u without. They dont vaccum or clean the bathroom floors. The tub was clogged and we had to fix ourselves. We ask to change the room since as to noise, but they offer us, without a view, later in same day the were so many rooms with view and better. Blf is so expensive. Parking too. Pool only outdoor really small. Beds are not queen, they are full.

I was told this hotel had free shuttle service but when I called for transport, after finding there wasn't a bus after landing, I was told I had to call 24hrs prior myself to set up a ride. "How can ANYONE call early to arrange a ride you are not aware they need because their hotel is listed as having shuttle service?" The bathroom was filthy. As in there was a long stretch of tape down the wall that had mold under it. I'm taking a guess that someone did it on purpose to show just how long ago the walls had been cleaned. But even more damning evidence of the room never being cleaned was someone had spit toothpaste in the bowl and it was still there which prompted me to look closer, and thank God I did, because I wouldn't have caught the dark stains around the rim if I hadn't. Luckily, I keep Lysol cleaner in my bug-out bad for impromptu stays at motels during road trips but never thought I'd find myself cleaning the bathroom at a major chain. And speaking of their toilet...while I was cleaning the bathroom the toilet would run, on its own, every 4.03 minutes. Called front to put in a maintenance request but no one came. When I stopped at front desk on my way out to dinner -2 hrs. later- and tell the same girl I'm checking on the status of my bathroom repair she says "It's around the corner." I *literally* said the words REPAIR and MY ROOM but you point me to the lobby restroom? How? So then I said I meant the one in my room she gave me a blank stare. I tell her the bathroom is self flushing and she says... "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I'll call maintenance." and wrote it on a post-it. So not only had she never called the first time, she'd even forgotten the call entirely. Maintenance finally came, left to get Pat's, came back and replaced a piece, and told me it's okay now but... The sound of a toilet just woke me out of my sleep so I call the front desk again. Again the same girl. This time she asked me if I had tried to shut off the water valve at the bottom of the toilet. Well no,I had not, because I'm a guest not a repair man. It is bad enough I had to clean the seat but you can not pay me enough to get me to touch the bottom of your nasty as hell toilet. Unbelievable.

We spent a week at the Best Western hotel. We recommend the Ocean Front room. It comes with a balcony and a gorgeous view of the beach and ocean. Our stay was very pleasant. The sfaff members were very kind, courteous, and helpful.

Family trip!!! The beds are as hard as rocks and they put our family on different floors after we paid 8 months in advance!!! You don't get coffee or anything in the morning it's the worst place I have ever stayed!!!

Nice hotel and location ,had a beach front room with balcony was the best ,the area of the beach was not busy had a nice time ,only negative was the smell in the hallways and the front desk and the hotel parking was real tight

This hotel was avery good choice for me, it is a the beach and close to everything. The staff is warm and friendly, the place is kept very clean and the beds are super confortable. I just wish i coild have stayed longer, planning to come back in February 2020

Great location at the beach for good price, Hotel is clean and staff very helpful. The beach is beaitiful and very calm, Nice Bar at the pool but it closes very earlier. Free troley if you wanna go South Beach or other areas.

The hotel is in a a good area. The property is clean. The parking garage is the worst I've seen. it is too tight to fit a large car or SUV and the spaces are very limited. Breakfast is good but not included. They do not offer complimentary water or coffee in the lobby. They should. This is a small, inexpensive upgrade that shows you care for your guests. The rooms are nice but beds are hard. The ocean front view is really great on the higher floors, 6 and up. I would stay again if I were able to get such a great rate.

We stayed here the night before our cruise out of port of Miami. This place is fine I guess if you're looking for a short stay that's relatively affordable (compared to other south beach properties). The issues started at check in- we tried to check in early and the room wasn't ready. That was fine...we went and got a late lunch. We were told to come back at 3:30- not ready, 4 (guaranteed check in time)- not ready, 4:30- still not ready. We finally got our keys with other very disgruntled guests at 4:50. The room was nice except for the AC that sounds like an airplane and turns on/off all night...views are the best part (10th floor). The pool is small/sad and the property could use work for sure. Parking is onsite at an expensive 35$/day, chair rentals on beach are $10/hour. Breakfast was cold and not good (thankful we didn't have to pay for it) Overall just not great..would pay more for better management and promptness.

I had my concerns about booking my 2 rooms from here, seeing as the reviews weren't too great. Yet, the price was good, and could accomodate the big family I was traveling with, which included 3 additional adults and 5 children. Traveling all the way from cold VA, we just wanted a good hotel, close to the beach, as well as shops and restaurants. Boy, did I make the worst decision! I am a reward member with Best Western, so booking direct with them gave me fair pricing. I had booked my 2 rooms since October, changing the reservations a few times, when I found a drop in pricing. Nonetheless, our travel dates neared, and I called the hotel to see if they could make sure the rooms were close to each other. I was told I had to wait until check in to make that request. Did I mention that we had booked for 6 nights? So a pretty penny was being spent! Arrival comes, and Erik, the front desk guy begins the check in process. My boyfriend and I explain that we need the 2 rooms to be close to each other, due to the number of children we are traveling with. He informs us that the rooms have been assigned to different floors, but if we can wait for them to get cleaned up by Housekeeping, then our needs would be met. We agree, and also opt for parking our car in their $36 a day "garage". We ask Erik to give us a call once the rooms are ready, but you guessed it...HE NEVER DID. After giving them an hour and a half to everything ready, I call and am told yes. We head back to the hotel to complete the check in process. I send my boyfriend to pick up room keys, since we had paid and signed when he first arrived earlier. We head to the "garage" to park, and its a hole in the ground with a few parking spaces that are too tight to comfortably fit my minivan. We then try unloading the car, but my boyfriend realizes that there is no elevator that takes us inside the hotel. I have to then exit the hole I had a hard getting into, and drive to the tight front of hotel and unload. As small as the parking "garage" is, their front area for unloading and waiting to register, is even worse. Well, after unloading, I go back to park. As I am doing so, my sister calls me to let me know that her room, has people already inside. At this point, I have had enough. My family and I did not travel so far from home, to have so many issues at this hotel. I go back to the Front Desk, and address matters with Erik. He can't give me a reason as to why the room that was assigned to me, already has other people inside. He apologizes, and tells me he has no rooms with our desired oceanview, in the same floor as the suite I had booked. Had I had no children with me, I might have overlooked the issue. But, seeing as I had explained to Erik that having kids with us, required we be on the same floor, the issue could not be ignored. I explained I would only spend 1 night here, and that I needed a refund for the remainder of the trip. He went to the back to talk to his supervisor, then came out and said ok. But, the supervisor on duty made no attempts to talk to us. I requested that he come speak with us, and handle the situation. After waiting a good 10+ minutes, Gonzalo the supervisor, came out. He apologized for the issues, but said the refunds would be handled until Romulo, the front desk manager, returned on Monday. He tried to accomadate us, by asking if we would be okay spending the night on different floors, and having us transferred to another one the following day. My boyfriend and I ended up declining, because too many had been the issues, to overlook. Finally at 7pm, we are trying to relax in the rooms, when my sister calls me freaked out. The table attached to wall, collapsed as my niece was drawing. Thank God she moved out of the way in time. She goes to the front desk and explains what happened. They send a maintence guy to pick up broken table, who while doing his job, kept saying how tierd he was! Even is enough! Stay away or come at your own risk. WE WON'T!

Location is great and the view is stunning! Room is ok, beds are very comfy but blankets are more like a duvet and we were cold even with 2 of them. I dont understood why they took out the water and coffee from lobby on wednesday and never put it back....also it was 9:20pm we went to have dinner and restaurant was closed.....on the menu said : "open till 10pm".....weird the negative point was the FD lady Mrs C, which I dont want to write her full name...but she is a mess....she has no clue of what she's doing and made a huge confusion with our papers, payment and continuous reservation.....it looks like she doesnt listen to us.....honestly she should be doing any other thing than what she's currently doing!

Hotel is in great location, with internal access to the beach. Very friendly and attentive staff, special thanks to Juan and Olga who helped us to make an earkier check in. Room very clean and well mainteaned. good amenities Breakfast was good but it is not include as others hotels we stayed. Overall, it is a nice spot if you visit Miami

Had many problems with the room and when asked to change rooms they lied regarding room availability. I checked on their website for more rooms and was able to see that they had rooms available. Additionally the water in our shower was lukewarm and when reported they sent maintenance at around 1 am in the morning!!

Im currently staying in room 710 wich smells like a bad smelling shoe on a hot summer carpet is wet everywhere ac in bathroom licking toilet flush not working shower head not working i had to shower with a cup to pour water on me and this is the second room they gave me the first one has ac licking and lights on the wall not working and carpet all wet and soacked in front of the door. Im staying here alone with my 2 kids 4 and 1 year old i was looking for a nice relax hollyday but i dont have the basic comfort i payed for and front desk keep on telling me that they are fully booked and can't find me another room so disappointed i just can't believe I'm forced to stay here until the 30th. They say “Best Western Plus® goes beyond the expected, offering everything from well-appointed guest rooms to upgraded amenities.” Well im having that experience right now

The hotel is right on Miami beach, which was fantastic! We rented beach umbrellas and loungers at a reasonable price and the guy was nice, letting us come back to use the same ones after we had some lunch. There was also someone selling coconuts on the beach and that was refreshing and cool to drink, the kids loved it. The rooms in the hotel were massive, we would have loved the beach front view but unfortunately couldn't get it, because of the suite we were in. We had two bathrooms and the beds were comfy, it was in need of a little TLC, but overall good. We had a cot/crib for our baby free of charge, My wife did find a pill on the floor, which our baby could have easily picked up and eaten, so the cleaning staff should be careful of this. The room also had a slightly musty smell but overall it was fine for a few nights. The staff at the desk were helpful, they even let me pay my hotel deposit in cash to avoid waiting to get an international payment back on my card, which I'm struggling to do with other hotels. The pool also was nice and at a lovely temperature. We were reluctant to book this hotel on reading some of the reviews but it exceeded our expectations. We talked to a couple on the beach who got a room for $100 a night, so seriously you can't beat that on Miami Beach. We paid $374.49 for two nights, but it was for a family of 5 in a large suite. We took an Uber from the airport which was very reasonable and after a few days hired a car, Alamo car hire was barely a 5 minute walk away, heading straight to the keys for the rest of our trip. Would I recommend on a budget, Yes for sure!

Room 716!!! Wow what a view, price for location. We spent two nights here celebrating our Anniversary and had a blast. Hotel is located within walking distance to many restaurants and the beach is out the back door. There's a free city trolley that will take you anywhere you want to go along the main street's a plus because parking is impossible. Park your car at the hotel and forget about it.

I stayed at this BW at the end of September. It was a great stay everyone was so nice and accommodating! Had a beautiful beach front room, rooms were clean and pleasant to stay in. Would stay here again!

Hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. This hotel is a great option if you are looking to spend some time at the beach as the beach is right outside. I would definitely stay at this location again when I am back in the Miami Beach Area.

My wife and I only stay one nigth here to celebrate our aniverssary, the staff upgraded us to an ocean front room and Housekeeping decorated it with roses and chocolates, such a sweet surprice!!!! The property is extremy clean and well kep. The beach is beatiful and peacefull Thank you to all the staff for making started our celebration gateaway so special!!!

This hotel exceeded our expectactions, Our Room was faultessly clean and all personnel we intereacted with were friendly and professional. The Location is a plus, Best Western Plus Atlantic Beach Resort is just at the beach!!! We definitely recommend this nice property and are already planning to visit again!!!!

WoW what a fabulous clean friendly hotel. We (three large adults) Arrived almost midnight we had not pre booked we just rocked up hoping they had a room, it was very dark couldn't see a thing outside but could hear the Ocean. We woke up early and was blown away with the view from the balcony in our two double bed room (room 812) you could see for miles the Ocean the Beach it was amazing. Decided to stay another night and had to change rooms as the room we was in was all booked up. We were a little disappointed to have to move rooms we was very happy in the room with the fabulous Ocean and Beach view. Well what can I say they moved us to room 916 it had one extremely large king size bed and a fold out bed for our 32 year old son. With a wrap around balcony that gave us a panoramic view it was truly spectacular.

Arrived at Hotel on our first trip to Florida. So Excited. After 9 & half hour Flight from Dublin , Night time, Tired & Hungry. Check in was efficient 2 Nice Guys. Given our Room Keys, no offer to bring up our Luggage. Ok off we went to Room. Very Scented Smell in Corridor. Opened our Room Door, The Smell of Damp & Musty Was unreal. We couldn't stay there. Back down to Reception again. Shown 3 other Rooms which were the same. We can't stay here. We are tired in need of Food. My Friend is Type1 Diabetic & really needed to eat a Meal. Guy told us All Rroms in Miami are the same cos of Humidity & people leaving Balchony Doors open We can't stay here. Can't contact Tour Operater cos of time difference. Manager says he will see what he can do. After long time, we hear he is gone walking to another Hotel as their Wi Fi Was down. Eventually he returns. He found us another Hotel 5 mins away. Drove us there & Porter wheeled down our Cases. A Happy Ending. Thank you Romolus .

restaurant was good in the morning; room was clean yet hadn't been renovated; view from ocean view room is luck of the draw; one time we got a good view, another time not such a good view and it's not worth the time involved to plead with the front desk for a better room. it's not that they are uncaring; it's just that it's a very busy front desk with a lot of people lined up when we've been there on 2 occasions (both Saturdays). but, we are staying there again Nov 16 so I will write another review after our stay.

This is the first time staying at the best western . It was a last minute booking but we took this hotel because of the commercials we saw on tv . The room was ok , but we had a leak in the ceiling that had the carpet in the room wet for the majority of the stay . Once the air condition was turned off the room had a muggy smell because of that. The restaurant is small and the staff was only attentive to certain people . I ordered the breakfast buffet which included everything down to orange juice and tea which I had to keep request for but others got served . The first morning my companion ordered toasted croissants and tea and received 3 . The next day she ordered the same thing and got less . When brought to the servers attention she offered to get her one but never brought any , instead served other people. This place was truly disappointing , I think twice before staying here , the service was terrible . The only thing good was the view from the room and the closeness to the beach.

Today your employee Diana has displayed the most absolute great attitude and professionalism I have ever seen in any hotel even though me and my husband had given her attitude she still kept going with a smile on her face and a complete and welcoming personality I am proud to go to the best western hotel if Diana is working at the front desk because She has displayed such great characteristics.

Perfect for families. Walk to the beach. Ocean front view. They need major upgrade. I didn't like the odor from carpet. They don't vacuum! only sweep carpets in the room. On street parking that charges every hour.

Diana Is what I call a prime example of a good employee she went above and beyond what o make sure me and my friend was taken care of whenever we had any issues throughout our stay. I highly recommend she gets a promotion Diana displayed great professionalism and kept a smile on her face whenever she assisted our needs.

Stayed here for 1 night after a cruise. Chose this hotel because they have laundry facilities. When we arrived, there's only 2 washers, and 1 (of 2) dryers working. The one did not dry so well. After 3 rounds and 3 hours wasted, we gave up. The hotel staff was not so helpful. We ended up using the hair dryer and iron to dry our clothes. We did get refunded the cash for the use of the dryer. If you choose this hotel because of that, call ahead and make sure it works and works properly. The hotel room was ok. Best value you will find in the area, especially it being Miami Beach.

· Nice hotel great place for a base if you have lots to do, ie shopping, sightseeing that sort of thing. I wouldn't recommend as a resort, I wouldn't have been that impressed spending a whole day in lounging around the hotel but saying that it's in a fantastic location right in the beach about 10 mins on a free trolley to south beach 15/20 mins from Miami international airport. My room was clean tidy and very comfortable and I had a fantastic ocean view from my balcony

My Family and I stayed 1 week at Best Western Plus Miami Beach. What a great location! Clean and fantastic room with an amazing balcony looking at the ocean Nice Restaurant and good beakfast. We Highly recommend this hotel, afforadable price, great location, super clean and very friendly staff.

I visited with friends and had a most pleasant stay. The room was very nice eventhough it is a little small. The partial view of the ocean was fairly good. I could also see the city lights at night, simply breathtaking. The staff was exceptional. Always attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable. The employees working on the floors were always plesant, from the housekeepers to the lobby and pool attendants. The bellmen were helpful providing information of the are and helped us make reservations and book tours. The food at the restaurant and pool bar were of good quality for the price. I had a great experience overall. A big thank you to all the staff!

This hotel fell so so far below my expectations of a large chain hotel. 3 different rooms before they "sorta" got it right. The 1st room the bathroom had mold and rust and dirt everywhere, I showed management, they moved me to another room. The 2nd room smelled worse than death and housekeeping was unable to find the source or resolve the issue. The 3rd room was decent, with the exception of shower water pressure. Standing in the rain would have had more pressure.

The Hotel is really nice, clean and convenniently located. the staff really made our visit great, all were very helpful and attentive. Our room was spacius, impecable clean and comfy with great view to the beach. Nice Hotel, with great service and amazing location

Hotel is right on the beach. Location is really good for your money. Hotel entrance and parking is very narrow. Rooms are clean but security can be improved. Slow internet which drops in and out on you. Outside pool is very small.

Very nice, clean hotel. The view of the beach is amazing and access to the boardwalk is fantastic. The room has very nice decor and a lovely balcony. The internet speed is quite good, overall and excellent place to stay in Miami beach.

Rooms and check in process were what I'd expect, although the rooms could have been cleaner - quite dated. What really irked me was that the Air Conditioning Filter had not been changed probably in years, not good for a Florida property. Also, THERE WAS NO HOTE WATER IN THE SHOWER! i asked the hotel on SEVERAL occassions to send up maintanance to fix the hot shower, but they would not do so. The front desk manager at checkout was totally non-caring - won't stay here again.

I stayed 4 nights in September. We got the room/location we requested (main floor w/no view for expediency to the outdoors.) The room was clean, comfortable and simple. There are no microwaves in the rooms, however. I won't use the in-room coffee makers at any hotel. Free coffee wasn't available in the lobby except when the property's restaurant was closed. Breakfast was not provided and the restaurant was fairly pricey ($20/tip for a plate with 2 pcs of French toast, an orange wheel & cup of coffee for one person.) I've never been to Miami before, so maybe that's normal? The employees I had contact with were fabulous. The pool is a bit small, but is cozy enough when there aren't many people in it. I loved the location on Miami Beach backed right up to the boardwalk. The only problem I had was a concerning one. I don't sleep well & one night left my room at 1am to go sit outside. I came out to firefighters in full dress with picks and axes in the lobby, police had completely closed the road in front of the hotel and all the guests were standing outside. The fire alarm had gone off and the building had been evacuated EXCEPT OUR ROOM. The alarm never sounded and no employee knocked on the door to evacuate us. I left my bf sleeping and waited until the building was cleared before asking the front desk why my room was not alerted to the potential fire/danger. I was told their system malfunctioned and didn't sound on the 1st floor. I got no answer as to why nobody alerted us.

5 days of pure joy with my loved ones. We had the time of our lives at this hotel. The place is not a luxury hotel but it was tidy and nice. The room was very clean, confortable beds, beautiful rooms and a to-die-for view. The pool is small but it was a nice ambance. The drinks at the bar were good and a refreshing touch to the sunny afternoon. We used the city trolley to move around and walked a little bit too. Most restaurants and shops are withing a reasonable walk. I would definitely love to come back (during the winter)

Small hotel in mid beach not as good as the best western in Orlando,the hotel could do with a face lift on all hallways plus them dark old blue doors could with brighting up. The parking for this hotel is far to expensive it is free parking at Orlando best western so why don't they do free parking at Miami. The rooms are clean,small pool,staff are very friendly and helpful can't comment on food as we never ate at the hotel, other than the parking charges we still enjoyed our stay in sunny Miami.

We've started our Florida trip here with my wife. The staff is very friendly and helpful from the receptionist to the restaurant and poolside also. The chef is very nice guys and everybody works there is trying to help you to make you an unforgettable and relaxing stay there.Thanks guys,just go on!! The hotel has a small pool but quite enough for staying in our near there. The poolside bar has very good cocktails and tasty pizzas! Parking is a bit expensive here but the guys at the reception get to know you a public parking about 20 minutes walking away. Hidden tip: if you want to drink something at your hotel room,visit the nearest liquor store!

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel for 1 night until our family arrived to stay in a townhouse and we lucked upon this gem. The room was 124 for the night so I wasn't expecting anything but a basic room. We had a king oceanfront room on the top floor!!! Everything was amazing from top to bottom from beginning to end and we would definitely stay here the next time we are in Miami.

I stayed only one day and I love it, hotel is located in the beach, close to shoppings and restaurants. Rooms are really well manintened and very clean. super friendly staff I will book this hotel for my family vacations in Miami Beach. Higly recommended.

This hotel was a great choice. We came as a family and had 3 rooms. Beautiful view, very clean rooms and confortable beds. The room attendants were all nice and always left extra cofee and amenities for us. The staff at the pool and the desk were also very friendly and took good care of us. The weather was perfect during our stay. It was sunny and very windy. We have amazing pictures for our memories. Thank you all for a job well done.

The hotel location is great, the room was great and so was the staff. My only disappointment was the pool.its essentially a large bathtub. Once 5-6 people jump in it feel crowded. The pool platform is generous in size so there is no reason why this hotel has such a small and dated pool. I hope they have plans to refurbish this critical aspect of a south beach hotel.

We stay at this Best Western twice a year. We love walking on the boardway, directly behind the hotel. It is walking distance to South Beach. Walk on to the beach. The Hotel restaurant was so convienent, the food very good as was the service. We ask for certain rooms each time we go, and they always give us what we want. The staff is amazing, Everyone has been so friendly. We will continue to stay here as long as Best Western is here.

The people that work at the hotel are of great help all the time. Very nice amenities and great location, next to a beautiful beach. The hotel have parking space available. You can walk around the street and find a stores.

Decent location backs onto the beautiful Mid beach of Miami. Small pool but if you have a pool view balcony room it is really nice. Don't get the side view. Breakfast is expensive so we didn't have it. Coffee maker in room and free water bottle if member. Good free WiFi. Very helpful and kind staff. AC is loud but works. Close to free trolley service to Lincoln rd etc Collins express.

I loved staying at Best Western Plus Atlantic Beach Resort in Miami Beach. As soon i entered I was greeted warmly by the staff. I was able to check in earlier, our room was spotless clean and fresh. I had an amazing time, i will definitely be staying here on my next vacations

We have stay at many Best Western locations but this one was the best of all. Great location and an awesome room. Very modern and clean large room and bathroom the room also came with a terrace facing the beach.(not a full view but enough to enjoy) The staff were fantasic!!

Our family stayed here for one night. The hotel was clean and the workers seemed helpful. Our room was a double queen with an attached living room space. It all was very clean and very nice. The pool area is very small, but it is just a few steps away from the beach.

The location of this hotel is really good and convinient, direct exit to the beach, Bus stop, restaurants and shopping close. Free rides around with trolley type for turists. Breakfast was good, lot of choices. Clean room with large balcony looking at the ocean. I love this hotel, only issue was the Wi-Fi getting disconnected all the time

My wife and I had a relaxing vacations and fabulous stay! Everyone working here is extremely nice, views from balcony is beautiful and relaxing, very romantic and breathtaking. The Hotel is impeccable clean and very well maintained, breakfast buffet is abundant and fresh.

Stayed here a couple of nights this past June. While the hotel was befitting of its 3-star status (it was clean, good access to the beach, decent rooms) the front desk was very disorganized. Twice we were given a key to the room which was occupied by another guest. The wait to get something from the check-in staff was painfully long. The storage room chap often was unavailable. The staff looked frazzled and overwhelmed. Other than that........it was OK

My Daugther and I stayed 3 days at Best Western Plus Miami Beach Resort, our Room was very clean and all the staff was great! Exellent location in 41 street and collins ave, close to everything and access to the Beach from Hotel Pool area. Excellent Service, cleanliness and location! We will back

Let me start with hotel has the worst customer service from the staff to the front desk supervisor Gonzalo. I booked 2 rooms and then cancelled 1 room. I called twice for the cancellation email which I never received. Check in process was not easy because I booked with employee rate. Front desk Supervisor Gonzalo denied my request of room facing the ocean side even the hotel was not busy at all, he told me we are sold out. I was denied the room with balcony. I was told we will switch you next day but not one made any effort of switching our room. The parking fee is ridicules $38 per night. Park 1/2 block behind Citibank building for $8 per night. Hotel is not all that great. Breakfast is $18 per person. It would be cheaper to eat at the restaurant. I would not suggest anyone staying here. There are lot of hotels to choose from.

Awesome location, the beach is right behind the hotel, jet ski rentals was like 1/2 a block from hotel, very close to lots of things, food, stores, liquor stores and even South Beach, Staff was friendly, only gripe watch your Bill's because gratuity is automatically included.

This hotel is a 3 star hotel, despite the average rating I think it is excellent for its price and location. The building is an art deco so the outside structure looks a little outdated however, it is very well kept. The lobby is tastefully decorated, very spacious and it smells great. My room was spotless, the room attendant did not speak much English but was always friendly and very accomodating. Breakfast was plentiful, and delicious. I was really impressed with the omelette station. The service was great overall, front desk was very helpful. I lost my phone at the pool and they went out of their way to help me find it. An employee had turned it in to lost & found! I do not remembers the names but everyone we encountered was very nice. I will definitely come back soon :-)

Worse hotel in Miami, very unfriendly staff. Charged higher price than necessary, wouldn't listen. Rude manager on duty. Cleaner knock rapidly on the door waited outside the room that we will go out in the moening very uncomfortable. Beds are too small and old mattress.

This hotel was perfect for the raiting it has. Everything was spotless clean, the staff was friendly, the rooms are nicely decorated, everything in perfect working condition, and the lobby if very warm and inviting. The pool area is small but had plenty of sitting spaces, complimentary towels, umbrellas, and games for the families to play. There is a pool bar where the bartender plays music and even plays whatever songs we asked him for. The drinks were good and the food was fresh and of good quality. Breakfast is plenty and the omelette station is an excellent addition to the buffet. Everybody smiles and says hello when you walk by them. Overall a very nice place. Not a luxury hotel but excellent for the price and location.

I stayed one night for bussiness but i had such a good experience that i will come with my family for pleasure. Room was inpecable clean and fresh, beds very confortable. Decent stay with a comfort bed ocean view was awesome . We love the privacy and quietness. Although during check in we had change our room because of the strong paint smell in hallway into our room we had to use towels and keep the balcony doors open . The toilet was not working properly the last 2 days of our stay.

Too much noise from the lobby. Bathroom shower was broken and the toilet didn't work properly. The most Unreasonable thing is that they try to charge me $10 for just my help me recieved my package from Amazon. I have stayed BW resort for 4nights, there was 3days the hotel fire alarm kept going off in the morning when I still resting. Overall experience was unpleasant. The only good thing is that they allow me to check in early on the first day!

There is about $40 parking fee to park at the hotel, which wasn't mentioned on the website. It said there is plenty of parking available on site. When we checked in the hidden cost was revealed!. The best thing was the ocean was behind the hotel. No coffee. Everything needs to be paid. Breakfast cost $20 per person each day if you chose to dine there. After the breakfast hours, there is free coffee and beverage available for patrons. The bathroom does not have vents. Poorly maintained building. They do clean the room every day. No microwave. TV and refrigerator. The pool is not clean. Need to do more cleaning and often as the traffic is high until midnight. Good to hit the beach. Friendly staff. There are hidden cost and surprises that will show up after you check-in.

Hotel clean. Rooms nice and spacious. Most staff friendly and helpful. Pool relatively small but right on the beach which is lovely. The title of this reviews sums it up really. Perfectly good stay ruined by one individual: Jordan. In the end we had our last night refunded and left hotel a day early due to him alone. Unfortunately this is clearly not an isolated incident either. Reading other guest reviews there is a consistent trend with regards to this guys poor attitude and behaviour towards guests. In the short time we were there we were approached by other guests who were also in the process of complaining about this guy after having the police called on them for simply playing cards in the lobby & being racist towards guests. How he still has a job is beyond me. We've asked the general manager to contact us to discuss this further as this guy is a disgrace.

This place is great, the breakfast was awesome, the location was excellent and the facility was very clean. The staff at the front desk were super nice. The maintenance ladies were the best. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. We will do it again this summer.

Due to a mix up at our original hotel we ended up at this hotel. Good location on Collins Ave and right on the beach. Rooms are a little tired but certainly clean. Reception staff were friendly and helpful but were a little slow in dealing wi5h guests. The hotel pool was fine, but who needs a pool when you have the beach next door. The hotel does have a restaurant but we chose to eat elsewhere so no comment on this. The location allows easy access to both North and South beach areas. I really recommend taking the free trolley bus service which stops almost outside the hotel

We stayed here four nights before heading out on a family reunion cruise and had a fabulous time! The rooms were newly remodeled, super clean, and very comfortable. For such a small hotel; the amenities are incredible! They have a gym, restaurant, poolside bar, meeting rooms, a great pool area with plenty of tables and chairs, and a FABULOUS beach! The best thing if all about this hotel is not the things I just mentioned; but rather the hotel staff! They are very accommodating, friendly, and efficient. A special shout-out to the pool attendant Iris who went above and beyond the call of duty helping my elderly Mom who suffers from dementia, go to the restroom so we could stay in the pool - who does that in today's world?! Lucy at the reception desk, checked in our big group efficiently and with a smile. We had a small issue with one of the room charges, and general manager Barbara Romano handled it immediately! We were extremely pleased with the hotel, but specially with the staff! Definitely recommend it to everyone - are true gem in the middle of Miami Beach!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean, comfortable and had great views. The location is on the beach and eaay to get to South Beach and Lincoln Road. Food delivery was eazy and good restaurants.

The hotel has a funky smell all three the hallways.. The ceiling in the hallways was leaking water the whole 3 days I was there and it's mold on the walls were they were trying to cover with paint.. Worst hotel I ever stayed in

We picked this hotel because of location. Everything is very expensive in Miami Beach and this was definitely the best deal. I was not expecting anything glamorous but the hotel served its purpose. I wish the pool was bigger but it had a nice atmosphere and the pool attendant and bartender were great. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, very satisfied with staff, location and hotel.

The entire hotel staff was great, check-in was quick and easy process and my Ocean View Room was unbelievable. Weather was outstanding and the outdoor pool and bar service offered was a really nice treat. Not to mention I enjoyed the Pool Bar staff so much that I stayed much longer poolside then I planned but I enjoyed every minute of it. Overall my experience was fantastic.

I want to thank the staff of this hotel for being so accommodating to my family. My mom recently had surgery in Mount Sinai and we needed a place to stay close by. We arrived very early and tired. The girl at the desk was very caring and found us a room right away with no wait. She followed up with us later to see how my mom was doing. I can't thank you enough for all the kind gestures.

I was in this hotel with my family in the past and had a wonderful experience. I had a quick trip for business this time around and decided to stay again. I was very pleased that they greeted me by name. They gave me a welcome bag and also had water and beautiful fruit plate waiting for me in the room. This hotel met all my expectations especially in an area that is crowded with overpriced hotels. I will continue to come.

Nice place. But the whole experience was pretty bad. Seems like a great area. Besides the people. Can't understand anyone. I felt like I was in a different country. Everyone looked sketchy, like everyone was trying to get a angle on you. Daylight seemed alright, beware at night!

Upon my arrival I was greeted, all went well until they told me that the card and person that purchased the room had to be present. How is that possible when a company purchased it for a business trip and paid online? I had to use my card and then found out the price online is not the price you pay when you arrive. The manager had an attitude and could not care less and was laughing with the other check in staff after my concern. I then arrived in the room to find no body wash or shampoo in the dispensers. The mattress was hard as a rock! Very disappointing. Also, the parking garage is ridiculously small with about 25 spots in a hotel with over 100 rooms and charge you $34 for one night. INSANE! Will never stay there again!

First off they charge the same price to park behind the hotel as they charge to park in a parking garage a block and half up the street from the hotel ....so if u have anything bigger than a compact car you will be walking back and forth to a block and a half to your car after paying over 100.00! Then I was charged during check-in for the parking and also charged again at check out it was taken out of my deposit...so I paid twice for the parking and was told just take it up with the bank because they didnt remember charging me during check in! The room had a very bad odor , sheets , and pillows were not clean! The toliet ran all weekend long and not to mention when you take a shower the water filled the tub and the next person couldn't shower for an hour so that the tub could drain! Maintenance came Sunday all though I had been there since Friday and the problems persisted until Monday when I checked out! I spoke with the manager about my concerns right after i checked in Friday and basically in so many words he said I can stay or leave! The worst service and stay at any hotel ....by far this one was the worst!

Great deal for Miami. Modern, clean and great beach view. The only thing the room was hot but facing the beach made up for it. Minutes walk to the beach. Friendly staff. I will definitely stay there again.

Property was in a great location and so close to the beach ... however when asked if there was a back enterance to the beach was told no ... there was a great exit off the beautiful pool... education and accomidaiton ...training of a very young staff is in order.

Beautiful views of the ocean and beach as well as the Miami skyline, really nice spacious rooms, everything was very clean and the front desk staff was very accommodating. Parking is an issue and there is no valet parking, check in area is very small so there wasn't much space to park. Street parking is practically non-existent.

Loved my Vacation. Everything was very enjoyable and relaxing ! The hotel was super comfortable, rooms were very clean. I just wish there was microwaves in all the rooms not just some. But other that great hotel.

My husband and I were on a long distance bicycle trip, thus staying at hotels frequently. We always bring the bikes into the room with us. On check in I was told there was no ramp to use to get to the door, and we would just have to carry the bikes up the 6-8 steps. The bikes are touring bikes carrying gear and are heavy. We got them up the steps only to be asked by a man at the door why we hadn't used the ramp. I explained that there wasn't one, and he told me there certainly was one. I went to the front desk to report my findings and was told that it's an employee entrance. When I got upset that they had lied and been so rude, they offered to let us leave via the ramp in the morning.

We stay here every year, sometimes twice a year.. We love the boardwalk behind the hotel. Love the location. Love the people, all were friendly . The ONLY problem we had was no clean washcloths in room. Always had to call housekeeping and then front desk. We ended up buying some at store so we didnt have to dealwith it. But we will return next year!!

They send a link for check in and give you the option of what time would you like but than after driving for 6 hours with a 5 months old baby they tell me it's not guaranteed. Asked for whatever room so I can change the baby and feed him but they didn't care or apologize including the manger. Booked the room a month ago and asked for the highest floor possible and sure enough after waiting for 5 hours they give me a room on the second floor. I will never return over there

For the price we paid per night there were several other area hotels that offered better service more amenities for much less. I'm definitely planing on returning to Miami in August of 2019 and do not plan on using Best Western again.

I love to stay in this Best Western, it is just the right spot to enjoy Miami Beach. Hotel is super clean and provides a lot of amenetie. Employees are always go out of their way to make you feel at home

Nice location in mid beach, close to the beach for a cheaper price in this neighborhood this is pretty much it what I can say on positive side. Older building that requires some renovations, sink in the bathroom is very inconvenient, limited parking, poor service in cafe, one day water was shut off for almost an hour without any notice, one day fire alarm kept going off in whole building,pool is very small and sometimes at the end of the day you could see people washing off their feet right in the pool so keep that in mind if you wanna use pool. We were disappointed in this hotel, so won't be back for sure. If you just care about beach and location this is might be right for you.

The staff is helpful, friendly and professional. The location is great. Lots of transportation options. Was able to do laundry, too! Room had lovely ocean view, was clean, bed was very comfortable. Easy to get to the beach.

The room was too small for a king size bed. The bathroom was miniature size. The staff left no washcloths the second day. The locking system for the entrance door was not working properly. A daily $36 parking charge. A daily $50 hold put on your credit card.

We have stayed at this Best Western twice in the past 10 years. It is a great value for Miami Beach. Clean rooms. Clean lobby. Helpful staff. NO bedbugs! Partial ocean views from many rooms. Great concierge. Decent restaurant (although they add 18% gratuity for a buffet, which isn't ideal.) Decent pool and pool bar. I would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Miami Beach.

We had an ocean view room on the 5th floor for 2 nights. Having an ocean view was nice but I would suggesting getting a higher floor because of the trees. The lobby is nice and clean. There is limited parking at the hotel. The pool is a bit small but the pool deck had enough chairs and a few tables. There is a nice board walk behind the hotel for a nice walk. The staff at the hotel were friendly. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced at about $15 and offered made to order omelets, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, fruit, cereal, bagels, toast, potatoes, juice and coffee. We had dinner there also. We ordered the nachos for an appetizer, the Cuban sandwich and the Cuban pork dinner. Prices were reasonable and it was nice you did not need to leave the hotel. Rooms were comfortable and the furniture was in good condition. They did have a refrigerator and safe in the room.

This hotel was very clean. Desk staff was helpful and nice. Elevators were fast. The location is great. Guest bathrooms were quite small. Did not like that the pool closes at 6pm. It is great for the price we paid. I would definitely return.

Unfortunately service is not good, looks badly managed with a complete decadent feel. The pros is that its in front of the beach and breakfast was fine and that is all. Not a good experience for the price. Parking lot is external, front desk is slow and not pro active.

If you've read my other reviews, then you know already that we are simple folks always looking for GREAT VALUE for our weekend getaways, and this property exceeded our needs and expectations! Full review and property breakdown below... Listen up: This is not a resort, although it does have many 'resort' features. It is also not a 5 Star VIP Property with butler service, so if that's what you seek then feel free to pay 2x-4x the price for one of the neighboring hotels sharing the same stretch of sand as this Best Western Plus. PROPERTY: Beautiful 2 story lobby with attached restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, closed during lunch hours. There is no free breakfast at this Best Western, but I didn't find any reasonably priced beach-front rooms anywhere in the area that did. There is a small bar one flight up overlooking the lobby that we never noticed open, but it was early March. Two computers for business/personal use in the lobby, and nice looking and equipped gym but smallish. Pool is also a bit small, but the pool area was nice with plenty of seats/lounges plus covered and uncovered tables. Corn Hole, Chessboard and other games off to the side. Small 8-stool bar in the pool area closed between 3-5pm each day we were there served reasonably priced drinks. The Miami Beach boardwalk is just beyond a secure gate (opened with your room card) and the beach itself just feet further so just a short walk to bring your significant other a frosty margarita or pina colada from the bar. ROOM: We stepped up to an ocean view room and were upgraded to Room 1016 which is the top floor corner room with the wrap around patio... Simply awesome view of the ocean meeting the horizon greeted us every day and night! King sized bed, ridiculously oversized walk in closet, small chair with ottoman and nice desk area with fair sized fridge and coffee maker. Bathrooms are smaller but fully functional and recently remodeled, no complaints here. Best part of the ocean view rooms is that they are far from the elevator and and the layout kept ANY hallway noise from reaching the sleeping area. The bed faces double sliding doors to the wrap around balcony, slide them both open and just lay on your bed admiring the sunrise every morning or just sit in your balcony chairs and enjoy a cup of coffee watching the waves meet the beach. BEACH AREA: ALL the beaches in Miami Beach are public and the vendors with chairs/umbrellas/towels are NOT employees of any hotel which is why they are extra charge. For $20 you and your honey can enjoy side by side quality beach loungers with a large canvas umbrella for folks like me who like the sun even though the sun doesn't seem to like us much lol. On most days there are jetski rentals right on the beach just to the left of the hotel property. Another great feature is there is a life guard station just to the right of where the hotel meets the beach, a bit of peace of mind for any family travelers! AREA: There is a full service liquor store two short blocks south. Primo Market with essentials, a fair amount of grocery items, beer/wine and fair priced made-to-order food items plus GREAT breakfast fare one block south. There are 4-5 quality restaurant options within a 5-10 minute walk. 15 minute walk brings you to a Dunkin Donuts, Walgreens, CVS plus several restaurant and shopping options due west down 41st. Clean and safe neighborhood with many upscale hotels along this stretch of beach. PARKING: is a bit of a disaster, so I am going to recommend you do not rent a car if you are flying in! Only a few ridiculously priced parking spots on the hotel property and street parking runs $3.00/hour. There is a garage for less than $10/day about 15 minute walk away that I recommend to those who are driving in but otherwise SKIP THE CAR. Beyond the endless uber/lyft drivers making any trip affordable and with minimal wait, there is the FREE MIAMI TROLLEY. The northbound stop is 50 feet away in front of the hotel next door, and the southbound stop is a short block away. STAFF: From many reviews there may be an issue, but we had NONE and I mean none... Everyone we interacted with was friendly, polite and happy to help. I guess if you treat hotel workers like your personal maid/assistant, they may interact with you to make sure you understand they are not. As always, it's about what YOU expect and all we expect is a smiling helpful person to make us feel welcome and from the front desk to maid service to room service to bar staff they all succeeded. So that's it! It may be a 3 Star Property but we had a 5 day/4 night FIVE STAR experience at this property and highly recommend it.

The front desk staff are very rude and unhelpful. When we booked, we were promised breakfast and ocean view. We received neither. The shower had no pressure, and was very dirty. We had a maintenance worker come to fix it, and made it worse. Overall, good Location, horrible hotel

Went on a family vacation here. I thought Best Westerns had continental breakfasts but this one did not. Very expensive breakfast. If you walk down the road a block or two, there is a place called Beaches bar and grill. Great breakfast buffet for a good price!

I stayed at the best western for its proximity to the beach, and the hotel did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful, any and all requests were handled quickly with a smile. My room was comfortable; the AC worked well, however the bathroom is showing signs of aging. If views are important, go with the oceanfront rooms, an ocean view doesn't really have a good view. Also, the walls are a little thin, so request a quieter room upfront if that matters to you. I stayed on the top floor, and I heard some of the spring-breakers on the floors below me, so I can't imagine what the noise levels would be if I was lower down. Here are some things I wished I knew before I came: 1) The chairs and towels cost $15 combined for the day, however the guys you get them from are not connected to the hotel, so you have to pay them cash upfront- no charging to the room. There is no drinks or food service on the beach, and the chair and umbrella guys only let you have one towel per chair. 2) They allow smoking on the beach, and everyone seemed to be doing it (both cigarettes and other types, if you know what I mean). If you have problems with breathing cigarette smoke like I do, you really don't have any options. I wish they would designate one side as a smoking section so people with breathing sensitivities like me wouldn't get sick (like I did). 3) Since the beach chair sellers are only contractors, they had no authority to do anything about unruly guests. Several groups were blasting loud and explicit rap music, which a lot of parents with little children were unhappy with since it was a family beach. However they were told there was nothing to be done, and there was nowhere really to go. Overall, I don't think I would come back. The hotel was fine, but when you go on a beach vacation, the beach really matters, and the way it's run now was unsatisfactory.

This hotel is located right on the beach. We had great views from our ocean front room. This is a great alternative to more expensive properties closer to Ocean Drive. The trolley provides access to the main area of South Beach and the Airport bus stop is also nearby. Meals in the restaurant were great and there were other options within walking distance.

Very over priced for a Best Western. Should offer continental breakfast. I tried to but 2 bagels and cream cheese, was told they "ran out of cream cheese" This was on a Sunday morning , for paying $300.00 a night I would think this wouldn't happen.

Good 3 star hotel, nice location. When you reserve be sure that you choose the ocean front room, the ocean view is actually just a partial ocean view room. The pool is not so big but the beach is just next and it's beutifull!

I enjoyed myself with my friends to the fullest ,the amenities in the hotel were perfect cleanliness and attention were always given . I loved the smell in the hallways the breakfast was excellent and the decor of the hotel was a plus .The mid beach location was a plus

Had the pleasure of spending 5 nights at this marvelous property just a couple weeks ago (Feb 9- Feb 14). I did read a lot of reviews that had me wondering if this hotel would be a good fit for my family. All I can say is that this property exceeded my all of my expectations. The front desk staff, bellman, housekeeping, breakfast attendants were all friendly and always looking to make my stay enjoyable. We were assigned room 114 and although we were on the ground floor of the property with no view, it actually worked perfectly because our room turned out to be two rooms (114 and 115) we had two bathrooms, a living room area then our bedroom was in a separate area. With a 2 year old, this was the ideal room because he could run and play and we didn't bother anyone. We did have the ice machine, elevator and main pool entrance/exit next to our room but again the noise was very minimal. We did add parking to our stay and it was about $34 plus tax approx. Although the spots were small we always were able to find parking on property. The neighborhood is just perfect because once you exit the I-195(I think that's the highway) it leads you straight into the hotel. No need to drive in traffic in south beach or deal with the crowds. Hungry? There is Primo Cafe and market that not only sells everything and anything you can think of, but they have a great breakfast for a reasonable price. The best part of the hotel was the close proximity to the beach. Just a boardwalk separates you from the sand. You do have to rent the umbrellas and beach chairs but its optional if you want to enjoy the beach. The bottom line is that this hotel is perfect for any Miami trip. Yes you have to pay for breakfast, parking, and beach amenities but that's what happens when you stay in such a hot spot. Unless you want to party 24/7, there is no reason you should pay twice as much for a room when you can get better value for half the price here. Thanks to the entire staff for making our vacation one we won't ever forget. We promise we will be back.

Everything from their great staff, food, comfort and location was extremely exquisite especially for the price. Their staff went above board to make sure we had a great vacation. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast and room service were top notch. This was the perfect location for unwinding at the beach and a short walk to shops and entertainment. The price was unbeatable too!

Hotel was very nice! Amazing food at the best area price! Great room! Beautiful beach! Very quiet location! Only issues would be our door not locking and having to be fiddled with and the need to dedicate staff to answer the front desk phone! Operator was always busy and the others weren't always busy but would not be picking up.

Rooms are clean and very a friendly staff. The breakfast area in the hotel offers either a buffet or individual breakfast choices and is very reasonably priced. The staff in the restaurant and most helpful and always available for service. There is a pool and fitness center on the premises and proximity to the beach with easy access from the pool is excellent. Parking at the property is disappointing as the choice is to pay approximately $40 per day or at a public facility 10 blocks away.

Spent two nights in hotel. Check in was quick. Room was very clean, suite was equipped with fridge and microwave. The only complaint I have is with the temperature of the pool which was way too warm for weather in the 80's. I did mention it to the front desk, they said maintenance would look at it but nothing was done about it.

Could not have been happier with our stay! It started with a friendly and accommodating front desk and continued with a beautiful room. The pool and beach access were great. And the free trolley to South Beach (located very close to the hotel) negated the need for a rental car. Plus it is the cleanest and best smelling hotel we have ever stayed at. Thanks so much for a great quick get away from an Ohio winter!
