"Good experience"
giorgiogD1657PX, 05 Avril 2024

The apartment Was tidy and clean. Breakfast has delicious dishes both salty and sweet. At the reception kind people very available. Me and my family were really satisfied about the structure Very very very good! I'd suggest this hotel to everyone!

"I would stay again, because I feel at home!"
Cibele A, 05 Avril 2024

The hotel is very friendly, comfortable and it is in the middle of the two tube station, which are Manor House Station (Piccadilly Line) to Finsbury Park Station (Victoria Line). Has a lovely view, because the hotel is opposite to Finsbury Park.

"Excellent value for money."
R S, 22 Mars 2024

Excellent value for money. Great location for a London stay, if you are on a budget, with buses and an underground nearby. The staff were friendly. There was a very good choice for breakfast, the breakfast room was pleasant and well lit with natural light.

"Clean, comfy and reasonably priced"
SiobhanOR4, 17 Mars 2024

Hotel was clean and rooms were comfy and spacious with the exception of one of the bathrooms where it was a bit of a squeeze. Breakfast had plenty of choice. The hotel is less than a 10 min walk from the tube station and there is a bus stop just outside the door. It's my second time staying in the hotel and would stay again.

"Great find near Finsbury Park"
L2776TPmichaelw, 16 Mars 2024

Visit this area several times a year, but always found this hotel fully booked, so it was good to finally get to stay. We usually travel by car, so the use of an off road car park is great. Both our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the bed was comfy. We had tea and coffee in the room and the addition of a safe was a bonus. There was a good choice of cereals, confectionery, and cooked items for breakfast. The room was well stocked and the tables were cleaned and cleared quickly. Every member of staff we met from receptionist, restaurant manager and house keeper were really helpful and could not do enough to ensure we enjoyed our 3 night stay. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

"We would stay there again for sure if we were ever in the area : )"
Philip S, 10 Février 2024

When we checked in we were told that we had been upgraded which was a nice surprise, we could even leave the car in the Hotel car park after we had checked out for an additional fee which was a comfort to us. The location for us was perfect as we had mainly travelled here to watch the Arsenal liverpool match, the local underground station is a 5-10 minute walkso you can be in the centre of the city within 10-15 minutes, and Finsbury Park was opposite which was really nice. The rooms were cleaned every morning and there was also a kettle with tea and coffee which was a nice touch. Staff were very helpful and polite, So thumbs up from me. : )

"Highly recommended"
Stephen D, 10 Février 2024

The staff were very friendly and were always available to help. The location of the hotel is safe and easily accessible plus the room is spacious. Their breakfast is also brilliant. Family friendly - we had two infants with us and the hotel went the extra mile to provide cots although we did not need to use them eventually as there were already extra beds in the room.

"Excellent value for money"
140Hols, 02 Février 2024

I stayed here with my son to go and watch a Spurs match. Given the price, it really was excellent value for money. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating, especially at reception. A bus (number 259) to Spurs' stadium goes from across the road, and stops at the stadium, although on match days it diverts close to the stadium because the road is closed, but its only a few mins walk from the nearest stop then. So the location and convenience of the hotel for the match was great. We had a very early flight to London and chanced going to the hotel to see about checking in early to get some rest. The receptionist was very accommodating and got us our room well before check in time, which we were so grateful for. Next time we go to a match, I will definately be looking to stay here. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

"Good place, centrally located"
Nimish B, 23 Janvier 2024

Very centrally located hotel, with wonderful people. Only the room size is is too small, looks like the bed is just fitted in with furniture, no place to move around. Though it has good amenities but one has to look around as everything is hidden. The reception staff is very friendly.

"Thanks"
Statham B, 11 Janvier 2024

Great value Great parking Great location Whats not to like? Stopped just one night to be close to Alyy Pally for Snooker Room very clean, easy to come and go, staff very efficient and polite For the price I think it would be very hard to beat Thanks very much BW Highbury (I wish Ally Pally was as welcoming!) "The smallest bedroom in London"
Brightoncardinal, 08 Janvier 2024

I needed a cheap room for one night and this place fitted the bill perfectly. The smallest room in the world, but it had everything I needed. It was very noisy right on the seven sisters road as there was dome problem with the windows. Earplugs were provided. But I didn't find until next day. Right on bus routes and 5 minutes walk from rail and tube.

"Relatively quiet and convenient for London centre"
Ian M, 28 Décembre 2023

Have used this hotel before so we knew what to expect. Arrived by car from the Midlands and took advantage of the daily parking fee at the hotel. Underground is walking distance nearby and buses stop near the hotel. Tourist attractions in central London easily accessible via underground or bus. Pleasant and polite staff and breakfasts are to a very good standard with choice of hot English or continental and plenty of fresh fruit. We never felt rushed to finish. The breakfast room was always clean and well lit with plenty of available seating. The hotel, although on a main road, is relatively quiet and Finsbury Park is right opposite the building. We will use the place again if the occasion presents itself.

"Good, Small room"
amyecarrick, 24 Septembre 2023

lovely room, small double but perfect for quick stay. all amenities worked well and were clean. Bed was comfortable and second pillows were provided. internet little slow otherwise great stay. also great parking facilities if needed.

"Great place to stay . Clean and comfortable rooms with easy access to central London Very helpful and friendly staff"
T7368SLpeterc, 19 Septembre 2023

Great place to stay for a visit to London Clean and comfortable rooms with easy access to Central London as close to the underground Very friendly and helpful staff who ensure that your stay goes well Location is on main road and so easy to find but still quiet at night

"Good place to stay, comfortable and clean. Easy access to central London."
Paul S, 12 Septembre 2023

Good location, easy walk to 2 tube stations. Staff very friendly and welcoming and quick to sort out a problem with our key cards. Room comfortable, good shower, clean and tidy and good supply of tea/coffee. Would recommend.

"Amazing Hotel"
Y715QOpaulw, 29 Août 2023

Great hotel only 5 min walk from Finsbury Park tube station. Was checked in by Bianca on reception who provided phenomenal service so a big thank you to her. Hotel and room is spotless, single roo. Is an adequate size and you even have your own bathroom. Recommend to all.

"Birthday treat visit to Tottenham Hotspur"
Fan R, 26 Août 2023

Great location.. we were upgraded so had a room each . Nice and quiet . Will definitely stay again. Breakfast included and I saw that there was parking if you needed it. All in all a great experience

"Ideal position, comfortable stay, great staff"
John P, 22 Août 2023

The room was great the staff very thoughtful and helpful and the parking and the position of the hotel was great for us. Very clean and peaceful and well connected for tube and bus. The breakfast was good value too

"Excellent stay"
Julie C, 19 Août 2023

The rooms were clean and well equipped with all amenities needed and more. There is a large choice of food on the breakfast buffet. Shower pressure was excellent (important detail when you have long hair!) And the staff was very polite and helpful. Thank you so much all your extra help, much appreciated. There are 2 metro stops within easy walking distance to reach the centre of London.

"Friendly staff and delicious food"
Yasho-Travellers, 18 Août 2023

The hotel staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Their warm greetings made me feel right at home the moment I stepped through the door. They were quick to assist with my check-in process. The breakfast served at the hotel was a delightful experience in itself. The spread was diverse and delicious, catering to various tastes. If you're seeking a truly wonderful stay in London, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

"Good car park, clean room"
chandaniee2023, 18 Août 2023

Upon entering the room I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The decor was modern yet inviting, and bed was exceptionally comfortable. The room had all the amenities I needed and the complementary WiFi worked seamlessly throughout my stay. A good car park is available which made me park my car without having any doubt.

"Ok for a night."
Neil R, 16 Août 2023

There was no AC and we had an old fan in the room. We could open the window. But for the price it wasn't much value. The location was convenient and it was clean. For one night it was fine. Checked out too early to do the breakfast. The beds we not super comfortable.

"Unhelpful staff"
Gytis P, 06 Août 2023

Breakfast on US campaign this August appears to be a scam despite the participating hotel. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and neither BW customer service helped in resolving an online booking error due to a technical glitch. Despite previous good experiences, this time it spoiled our stay and caused unnecessary stress. Would not recommend

"Unreasonable charge"
saffronh575, 04 Août 2023

Booked on booking.com and cancelled 3 minutes later last year and was still charged the full amount several months later. Asked for a refund due to cancelling in a very reasonable amount time and being a very high amount and was refused.

"Great value, nice clean hotel"
Craig S, 30 Juillet 2023

Nice hotel next to Finsbury Park and a very short walk to the tube/train station which was handy for us. Breakfast was good, room very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and return in future.

"Happy and would use again"
Mobile47085551339, 25 Juillet 2023

"Clean and convenient "
Global36522517964, 24 Juillet 2023

Convenient, comfortable and quiet with parking. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. We were only in the city for one night and it was good to be able to sleep well despite being on a main road plus we had a view of Finsbury Park, which was lovely.

"Gluten-free available"
BalquhidderLass, 18 Juillet 2023

This hotel is ideal for a stopover in the area, not too far from Finsbury Park train station and close to shops. The rooms are clean and tidy. Hot food is served at breakfast and they have gluten-free bread and cereal.

"Excellent hotel with lovely staff"
Pasindu A, 16 Juillet 2023

The Best Western London Highbury hotel is truly excellent, and I highly recommend it with a perfect score of 10/10. The hotel provides exceptional service, offering a delightful experience to guests. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms are well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with modern amenities, making it a perfect home away from home. Furthermore, the location of the hotel is ideal, allowing easy access to various attractions and transportation options. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, the Best Western London Highbury hotel proves to be a fantastic choice. Overall, I cannot praise this hotel enough for its outstanding quality and impeccable hospitality. If you are looking for an exceptional stay in London, I wholeheartedly recommend the Best Western London Highbury hotel.

"My stay"
stevenssound, 14 Juillet 2023

The staff were amazing however the room let the hotel down it was very hot with no air conditioning just 2 industrial fans which sounded like a jet plane taking off so you couldn't leave them on if you were watching tv or trying to sleep. The bed was ok but I've slept in better

"A lovely and convenient stay"
kittenmalibu, 11 Juillet 2023

It was the perfect place to book for staying after a concert. It's always hard to get anywhere when leaving Finsbury Park, you're already in a huge queue just to get out of the park.. I didn't want to wait forever for a taxi or an uber after already standing on my feet for over 5 hours. The room/ bathroom was really clean, beds were fine. Be aware that to save energy, you need to put your key in a slot by the door to switch on the electricity. There's no A/C, BUT a good sized fan was provided and helped keep the heat at bay. I also found the breakfast to be pretty good; the sausages were tasty and nice thick bread for toasting. If you're not familiar with a British style hotel, the layout was like a quaint FT Torquay style b&b, which I like. I would definitely book this room again. The staff were friendly, and there's very good security at hotel. Overall, a great place to crash after a long day of Wet Leg and Pulp!

"Festival stay "
hayley c, 06 Juillet 2023

My 17 year old daughter and friend are staying here this weekend for wireless as its their first time away on own the hotel staff have been absolutely wonderful, tania was so helpful discussing their stay before they went putting my mind at rest, and when they arrived reception staff were brilliant booked them a taxi even walked them out to the taxi so they got in correct car,not many hotel staff would go that extra mile, the room appears lovely and clean and in prime location for finsbury park straight across the road,I would definitely recommend this hotel even if it only for the amazing manager and staff who really go that extra mile, thank you guys

"Perfect"
06s8yxfx5j74gc9y2023, 06 Janvier 2023

Perfect! We had booked a twin room but wanted a double bed so contacted them to request if we could be swapped to a double room. When we arrived we were told we had been swapped to a triple room at no extra charge. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfy. (We didn't have breakfast). Can't fault our experience

"Bed bug and some staff had too much attitude"
koomukku, 29 Novembre 2022

We booked one two double bed for 4 ppl and my another two cousins just came to get ready before we go out for hen do night one of the staff was so rude with attitude called and asked me to come to reception speak to him when he could have just tell us on the phone the room is for 4 people which we knew. I told him we are just getting ready and they are not staying. Most of all we found a bug on the bed we didn't think much of it so we didn't complain but after we check out that day in the evening me and my cousin we having rashes all over our body and face! Gave two stars because some staffs were nicer than that men!

"BestwesternLondon Highbury"

"Really lovely place"
KillerQueen83, 31 Octobre 2022

Really nice and helpful, friendly informative staff. Clean room and facilities. For someone who isn't used to travelling London alone this was easy accessible and would definitely book again. Had a good sleep too!

"Good stay for one night."
Fraser h, 27 Octobre 2022

Reception staff very nice indeed, breakfast very good. Our room at the front was very noisy due to the traffic on the busy road but this is London and only to be expected, some people may not like it but it did not seem to bother us too much and we live in the country where it is silent at night!Finsbury Park right opposite which was lovely and all transport a short walk away.We we're going to Alexandra Palace and it was just one bus ride away!!!Easy to drive to off the North Circular as well!

"Well located and highly recommended. "
872frankh, 23 Octobre 2022

I received a warm welcome from the friendly and professional reception team at this excellent hotel facing Finsbury Park. My room and all of the public areas were very clean and well maintained. Breakfasts were available on the lower ground floor, (which is accessed by the stairs or a lift), and were quite superb with all of the usual choices available. It was good value for money and I would certainly stay there again. Highly recommended.

"The most comfortable hotel at a reasonable price"
026cm1455cg5gcb32022, 01 Octobre 2022

I have stayed at this hotel twice and it has become my go-to place. The rooms are so cozy, shower is great and bed is extremely comfortable. The room is equipped for a good night's rest and relaxation. Thank you

"Awesome Breakfast"
716laudah, 29 Septembre 2022

Personally I think that the hotel serves the best breakfast in London. I recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy breakfast as much as you want from 7am to 10am. Cleaning service is also really nice :) I really want to try their breakfast again.

"Comfortable, well located and well looked after!"
Kaztigers, 27 Septembre 2022

This was such a comfortable stay! The room was small but the layout meant I had plenty of room to store my overnight bag and toiletries etc; Although it was on a main road and my room was directly over the front door I wasn't disturbed by any noise at all. I was most impressed by the friendly welcome. Informed about breakfast but not pressured to book, and lots of smiles etc when I headed out in the evening. There was even a sign in the bathroom saying to let them know if you'd forgotten any essentials and they'd provide them with their compliments! Budget accommodation that's well located, comfortable and reasonably priced. I'd stay again!

"Lovely stay!"
788hayleyn, 26 Septembre 2022

We had such a lovely stay, all the staff were incredibly friendly and approachable. The breakfast lady knew are room number by the end of the week, we had a lovely rapport with the Night Porter who let us in every night and the Housekeeping staff were always very friendly too! There was also plenty of breakfast always hot and clean, the room clean and spacious. I have no complaints at all!

"London trip"
A2403STdavem, 24 Septembre 2022

This is a great hotel for a London visit. It's very well located for rail underground and bus and getting around is easy. Close to shops takeaways also. Staff were helpful, room was clean. Have stayed before and will do so again

"Lovely little hotel"
jacquelineo236, 21 Septembre 2022

We arrived early & was given an early check in, room was comfortable & clean, fan in the room for those warmer nights, a 10 minute walk from the underground. Staff all friendly & helpful. We had a side room so not too noisey we would come back.

"More attention needed"
unsatisfiedvisi2r, 18 Septembre 2022

Not cleaned properly, ripped curtain, no bedding on duvet or pillow, noisy as near road and not able to close single paned windows, empty coffee packet, not impressed for price paid even for London. As a chain would have expected better condition for price.

"Good, clean basic hotel."
NicR83, 12 Septembre 2022

Good, clean basic hotel a 10 minute walk from Finsbury Park underground station. We stayed for two nights and had a small twin room facing the side street. Noisy outside throughout the night so we had the fan on to drown out the noise. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The shower is powerful but very very slippy so beware.

"Fine for one night"
BillieBrighton_UK, 29 Août 2022

I stayed one night here while visiting family. Arrived early but room was available so was given an early check in which was welcome. Staff all friendly and professional. Room was small but clean although carpets throughout thw hotel looked a bit grubby. My room was at the back of the hotel and surprisingly quiet, given that the hotel is on a very busy road. The location was convenient for me for one night and would stay again but not for an extended period

"A wonderful hotel, service, staff & location"
MumCL, 10 Août 2022

We've just returned from a brilliant family holiday, a 10 night stay at the Best Western Highbury- a 5 minute straight walk to Finsbury Park Tube & 30 mins across the park walk to Crouch End. After speaking with many different hotels - when I spoke with Best Western I received friendly & very helpful support when booking (we have a family member with health challenges so needed certain arrangements). On arrival, the hotel looks lovely - floral displays & extremely clean and tidy throughout. It is clear that the staff who work at the hotel take pride in the hotel and everyone we spoke with were friendly and very helpful . We stayed in a family room, which was serviced to an excellent standard daily - with clean towels etc. the room had ironing board, hairdryer, plenty of space for 5 people's clothes & things. What made our stay particularly at ease and enjoyable is the member of staff - Emiliya- who serviced our room and prepared breakfast everyday. The pride and care that she takes in this role made our stay very comfortable - and we had a perfect balance of busy London days and relaxation at the hotel , with a lovely breakfast every morning. Travelling as a family of five can sometimes be tricky - especially with some of the health things we are balancing - and Emiliya contributed to our holiday being as enjoyable as it was. Will definitely book Best Western Highbury again if (when ) we return to London.

"Excellent location for our needs"
briancT3292LW, 03 Août 2022

My wife and I attended a wedding in muswell hill north London on the weekend starting 29th July and I must say we got it spot on. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and they arranged a taxi for us to the venue and back for the wedding ceremony. The man behind the reception desk was so helpful in advising us where to go for an evening meal and explaining the local transport systems to us. The hotel is very handy to two underground stations Finsbury Park and manor house both of which are only a ten minute walk away and there is a bus stop outside the front door to central London and it's 24 hours. We had a room downstairs overlooking the rear car park which meant it was very quiet away from the main road and the room itself was superb with everything you needed for a short stay. The breakfast was served downstairs and the choice on offer was exceptional with full English or continental, nothing was too much trouble. As for the hotel itself we couldn't fault it, there is a public park directly opposite where we went for a leisurely walk on several occasions and would we return most certainly we would,, thank you to all the staff for helping us to have a wonderful weekend

"Great budget hotel"
Tom P, 31 Juillet 2022

Very comfortable and clean budget room. The woman at reception was friendly and polite, very efficient at getting people checked in as it was busy. The single room was a bit on the small side but can't fault it for the price point. Bed was comfy. Very powerful shower which is always a big plus! The huge fan in the room was helpful too as it was a particularly warm night.

"Great location"
19laura0360, 27 Juillet 2022

Very handy location for the tube and bus. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fan in the room was greatly appreciated because of the heat. Easy walk to shops and restaurants and a park across the street. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a big variety of options to choose from. A small bar in the lobby if you want a drink was nice. Very clean and comfortable room.

"Nice room next to park"
f235qyttn2px0cfe2022, 13 Juillet 2022

The hotel has a good location and is not far from tube and just on the other side of a beautiful, big park (Finsbury). The rooms were very clean. I also likes it very much that we had a large fan in our room. I definitely want to come back here.

"Good stay all round….."
Woody16, 12 Juillet 2022

Check in very easy, room quite small but for a 2 night stay was fine. Bathroom clean and very good shower- plenty of hot water. Room overlooked the car park so was quietish. Close to Manor House or Finsbury Park underground stations so easy to get into the center of London. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Bit far out for us personally but if you need this area then it's fine.

"Nothing to complain about...."
969lesleyw, 11 Juillet 2022

Arrived slightly early but we were allowed to check-in..we had Room 400. Room quite small but clean and bathroom was nice-really powerful shower. Looked over the car-park at the rear of building. Got the room on a 48 hour deal so fantastic price-don't actually know what full cost should be! 2 underground stations nearby (Manor House & Finsbury Park)..which cover the Piccadilly Line & Victoria Line. Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that. Wouldn't stay this far out of the center again but if you have things to do in the nearby areas then this is a good base.

"Recommended for a short stay"
abbieg274, 07 Juillet 2022

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a short weekend trip. The staff were so lovely and accommodating and i felt really safe with the key card only access after 7pm (i'm quite an anxious traveller). The room was small but at the back of the building so it was very quiet. We stupidly enough didn't realise the room temperature could be adjusted so were sweating badly enough until we discovered the control next to the radiator! The bed was small but comfortable and there were extra pillows provided in the room. It was really clean and in such a central area that i'd definitely rebook here in the future. The lady at the front desk was really kind and held our baggage all day after check out until we were ready to head to the airport in the evening. 10/10 for a small hotel in London for sure!

"Very dated rooms"
adriansR8007OP, 26 Juin 2022

When I arrived the foyer looked very modern and I was expecting the same in the room. Was I mistaken. Very drab 70's furniture, a TV that didn't work and a bathroom you couldn't swing a goldfish in because it was very hard to actually turn around in there. Room was very very warm and no aircon meant there was an industrial size floor fan in there which made a hell of a racket. And the bed. My god I don't know where they ( or should I say when they) got them but are seriously outdated now. We asked for two single beds as it was myself and my daughter staying there, and you couldn't get a match between them because of how small the room is. So not really the best there. If I was you as soon as you get there ask for more towels because I've got bigger tea towels than they provide! The breakfast looked really really nice. Good selection to choose from but then you got to taste it. Over salty bacon. Tinned mushrooms that resembled slugs in water. Very cheap and nasty orange juice but the sausages were very nice. The hotel has good transport links into the Center of London and the car park there is good and it's a cheap alternative to some places around but if you can afford it look to book somewhere a bit more modern

"Hotel not amazing but great location"
PCLARK1974, 11 Juin 2022

Another Best Western again that needs a little TLC . Can't fault the size of the room was outside in the carpark but it was a mini apoartment . 2 bedrooms a etc but as with a lot of hotels these days the general up keep isn't great and just needs some money spent on it .. Great location though opposite Finsbury Park great for running if that's your thing and plenty near bye food drink etc. a big plus with London it has free parking . Would come back if I'm the area

"Excellent value"
Bernadette R, 17 Mai 2022

Spent one night. Single room. Very clean. Staff on reception were very helpful. Room small, however it was for one person so perfect size!! Very impressed. Would use this hotel again. Half an hour door to door to covent garden.

"Great for a weekend city break"
O2897MCkenp, 09 Mai 2022

It's a friendly budget hotel with good basic amenities close to transport links for the city. Stayed with my wife for a weekend catching up with daughter/nephews in the area and a day out to the city at Museums, dining and theatre. Good on site car parking (£10/night) was convenient as I don't often drive into London so I left it there and took tube or bus, all in easy walking distance. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Yes, there was some noise from other guests at night but it's a city location with family groups of all ages visiting so nothing unexpected, felt like a safe environment for a family visit to the city. Room was big enough (it's a budget hotel, at least we could walk each side of the bed) for our three night stay - we were only in it overnight - and it was kept very clean and tidy as was the shower room, which had a good supply of hot water. Buffet breakfast was simple and good with fresh selection of cooked and continental breakfast in a simple dining area that was kept clean and tidy by friendly staff. We used our room (on 2nd floor, lift always quick) as a base for going out to meet up with family and enjoy the amenities of a nor inexpensive city so it was ideal for us and would stay again if visiting this part of the city.

"wouldnt rush back"
OnAir52167949746, 07 Mai 2022

it is what it is. a small hotel on the outskirts of London not far from the underground. I was disturbed by a lot of door banging noise, but there was a group party with a number of children so I may have just been unlucky. No Restaurant so had to go out to find a takeaway. Breakfast room was more of a canteen set up. Perhaps a good place if visiting London for leisure purposes and wanting to stay on outskirts for a slightly cheaper rate, but not great for a weary business traveller, with work to do and just wanting to eat, work and sleep.

"Very convenient and pleasant stay"
abzali_01, 06 Mai 2022

Conveniently located with parking and tube station nearby. Does what it says on the tin, can't fault anything. Room was well kept and had all amenities to hand - will definitely recommend and book again

"Brilliant Bobby!"
Southernpence, 08 Avril 2022

Stayed here just for 2 nights whilst meeting up with family who had travelled from Australia. Small but spotlessly clean room. TV, WiFi, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, plenty of hot water for showers. Car parking to the rear of the hotel. Bobby in Reception was very helpful, drawing maps for directions to bus stops, restaurants etc. he always greeted us with a nice smile when we came in. Made our stay in London so much easier.

"Good value for location."
suebP7041XI, 03 Avril 2022

Was good value for location. Very clean and Covid safety measures. Earplugs provided (but not needed) as we stayed in a room facing Alexandra Grove not Severn Sisters road. Tea and coffee in room. Shower was hot and good pressure. Hating worked well - but was off and window open when we arrived. Staff friendly

"Value for money and good location"
Timtomxf, 23 Février 2022

A good budget hotel, the room was small but economical, hotel is very close to Finsbury Park tube and bus station, so central London within easy reach, both within a 15 minute walk. Helpful and friendly staff. Lift and parking if needed.

"Excellent location"
willandali, 07 Février 2022

An excellent, affordable location to visit anywhere in central London using the tube, which is approximately 5 minutes walk. The onsite car park charged at £10.00 is an added bonus. The breakfast was brilliant, with lots of choice of hot and cold food, and plenty of drinks too.

"Nice and clean hotel"
kald26, 02 Février 2022

Hotel is about a 5 min walk from the tube. Staff were welcoming and check in was easy. Our room was immaculate beds were comfortable and bathroom was spotless. Furniture needed updating but it was clean and cleaned every day. Room was at times really hot even with the window open. Great location would stop again

"Perfect location"
671esmew, 13 Janvier 2022

Clean, amazing staff and perfectly located! Breakfast was an added bonus- fresh and lots of choice! All staff we came across were friendly and helpful- couldn't ask for more. I can't really fault the room and hotel for the price. We will definitely be returning! Thank you!

Excellent stay. 2 night visit as daughter moving to London. Great location. Very reasonable parking cost. Friendly staff (all of them) clean room. Very good hot or cold breakfast with fresh fruit juice and tea or coffee. Never used the Wi-Fi much but seemed ok. All you needed in room. TV safe Shower toilet towels etc. 3 minutes walk to tube station. Plenty of bars shops and restaurants 5 minutes away. Facing a park so no noise issue. Busy road outside but never heard traffic noise. All in all excellent price and hotel. Would definitely recommend any would not hesitate to book again when visiting daughter

"Absolutely PERFECT!!"
FilippoT513, 16 Décembre 2021

RECOMMENDED. Great hotel, staff was super friendly and very polite and extremely discreet. Room was clean and really quiet. The area is safe and close to public transportation, restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets and it's also real close to Central London. I'm definitely going to stay here next time I come to London!!

"Go To Hotel in North London"
Tombellrob, 15 Décembre 2021

Great hotel, lovely rooms, helpful staff. Close to Finsbury Park tube / train and only £10 Uber from Euston where anything even remotely comparable would cost £200++. Finsbury Park area can be a 'bit lively' at night but hotel is 100% safe and has secure parking although we've never used it.

"Good sleep"
Happy_IE, 12 Novembre 2021

We booked on line. Nice welcome at reception and got a ground floor room. Room very clean and shower was great. Very quiet and slept well. We had breakfast there and it was nice. All the people we met here were welcoming and knowledgeable. Will be back

"Thank you x"
Lindna2021, 12 Octobre 2021

My husband was taken seriously ill & admitted to hospital during our stay. The staff were all amazing, allowing me extend my stay, helping me with directions to the hospital,& making sure I was ok. Having a safe, caring, friendly place to stay during this very worrying time, meant the world to me. We will always stay here in future. Thank you all so much x

"Good value, clean hotel. Really friendly staff."
HJS492, 11 Octobre 2021

Booked to be close to an event at the Ally Pally, great locality to the tube stations for this and access to city centre. Staff were lovely and helpful, room was nice and clean. Few wee things needed looked at to to bring it up to 100% - net curtains were grey and needed a wash, fan was covered in dust and shower hose needed replaced (more water came out the hose than the shower head) Room was comfortable and although it was beside a busy road, the ear plugs provided means that I got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good, coffee was terrible! Would definitely book again.

"Business trip to Alexander Palace"
woody2shoe, 09 Octobre 2021

I stayed one night while visiting Alexander Palace, about a 15min drive away. The on- site secure parking attracted me as parking overnight in London is difficult. The reception on arrival were helpful, with loads of information & local knowledge. The room was clean, with a good tv, wifi, tea / coffee. The one downside is that they don't offer an evening meal onsite, although there was a good breakfast selection the next morning. The staff were helpful and said I could order a take- away to be delivered. I decided to go out for something to eat. It wasn't a good experience as the local area was mainly ethnic on the go food. The reception did suggest a good Italian which I should probably have gone to. The area didn't seem that safe at night, I may be wrong though! I'm sure it would be lovely in summer but not when its dark. Other wise the room was noisy with traffic & sirens, ( but what you expect in London)! Overall it was a good stay and good value. I would stay again, especially because the staff were so helpful.

"Outstanding staff"
thevlogerg, 02 Octobre 2021

Booked for my 17 year old daughter attending a gig at Alexandra palace. It was the only hotel near by that would accept my daughter and her friend, I had to email the manager details (which made me feel better). The staff were very friendly and the girls felt very comfortable. Will definitely be my first call if I'm in that area. Thank you to the staff.

"Never again"
Peter C, 01 Octobre 2021

Stayed here for 2 nights arrived late at night 3 of us booked in room was terrible 2 tiny beds safe looks like it was broken into some time before went to the guy in front desk to complain he done nothing until he got a call from the travel agent then changed our room he didn't like that after checking out on the Sunday we left our bags in the hotel as we had a late flight when we arrived back later that day we where we still had a little time to kill so we ordered a drink from him in the bar and he refused us saying we are not guests anymore and we shouldn't outside for the taxi overall rooms were horrible front desk guy (the blond guy ) was useless and would not recommend this place

"Best Western London Highbury"
natashakelly1, 09 Septembre 2021

Very clean and comfortable and the staff were outstanding - friendly, helpful and efficient. The fact the hotel has on-site parking, priced at £10 per day is invaluable in an area such as this when parking is nigh on impossible.

"London stay over"
Freedom21225552921, 07 Septembre 2021

I would recommend this hotel to anyone, staff very friendly quick check in and out. Rooms good and breakfast second to none, and I have stayed at many hotels over the years. I told the reception i would be late turning up and this did not worry them in the least. The answer was NO problem, someone will be waiting for you at the reception. My second stay here and it won't be my last, price for quality excellent.

"Great Value"
f243hqtbj20r0cfy2021, 06 Septembre 2021

I really can't fault this hotel. I paid £24 for single occupancy of a twin room. Room was spacious and quiet, decor is not the latest but clean and everything works. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Hotel is opposite Finsbury Park, 30 mins into central London by bus or a few minutes by tube.

"Lovely calm oasis in London!"
F13677, 10 Août 2021

This is such a lovely, peaceful and comfortable place to stay for business or leisure. Very kind staff, great beds, piles of fluffy white towels and power-showers make it a refreshing stay. The area is flourishing with fab bakeries and bookshops, cafés and excellent transport.Tea and coffee in-room really make it ideal for some quality rest. Recommended!Galina

"Good for a few nights"
adamscriven411, 08 Août 2021

Good little hotel not too far from a station and theirs a bus stop both sides of the road Breakfast was pleasant one big con was the noise from the road you could hear everything happening on the street

"Clean and comfortable"
f227zd94610r0c9x2021, 14 Juillet 2021

Not a flash fancy looking hotel but very welcoming friendly helpful staff. Clean, Covid aware. Very comfortable pillows. Situated on busy road opposite park. Didn't use canteen/ restaurant so can't comment.

"You get what you pay for"
Dean S, 08 Juin 2021

My first time in this chain. I was a lone traveller but opted for a double room. It was small but adequate for a two day stay. The shower was very good. The bed was very comfortable. However, I think any hotel these days needs air conditioning. The room was like a sauna.... I mean hot hot hot. In fairness a large fan was provided which was huge, but although it was brilliant it was like sitting next to a runway at Heathrow. So what you gained in cooling you lost in noise. The breakfast was ok. For my two nights stay it was good value. It was fine but a bit tired.

"poor overall"
ashley5522021, 06 Juin 2021

cheap mattress ,pillows and quilt. Major road noise. Poor tv reception . No heating controls so room was unbearably hot. there was a fan but noisy even on lowest setting. Must have at least 200 characters for a valid review !!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY

"Great Find and Affordable!"
f1yyasv1210r0cc02021, 19 Avril 2021

I was in London with work but the hotel is opposite a park with a running track. Ideal for a runner like me. The area I hadn't experienced before but enjoyed very much. Wish I wasn't working to explore more and have more time. Hotel isn't modern but traditional. I still liked it though.

"Really friendly staff, but not 3 star or representative of the outside hotel photo"
LGBT-Joseph, 20 Janvier 2021

Firstly, may I thank the staff for being so wonderful. They went out of their way to be helpful and friendly, and felt they were fantastic. From providing plates and wine glasses for my takeaway, to accepting that take away and being generally very responsive and friendly - you have a wonderful team and I'm sure you're proud. I feel this hotel would be wonderful for a backpacker or tourist needing a value hotel to stay in. However I do have a few points which meant I felt this was more of a 2 star hotel if anything: I did not feel the location was Covid Secure at all. No guests I encountered wore masks around the hotel and on entering the room, no reference was made to the fact it had been cleaned securely. Instead there was heavy dust on the curtains and unknown splatter stains on the wall. If, like others, they had a note saying 'we've taken extra care to clean touch points' or something, it would have made me feel more comfortable. The TV remote for example, was incredibly grim and clearly not clean. The inside was very old, and not a reflection of the beautiful exterior, it has clearly never been renovated internally. Old red pub type carpets, creaking floorboards and poor decor stood out on going to the room. Windows in the room had gaps in the frames too, so there was little 'soundproofing' which comes from having double glazed windows. As the rooms were small and corridors narror, you could hear outside the room, although I will say it was quiet and they had signs telling you to be quiet at night. The room itself was incredible small. Smaller than any hotel room I've stayed in before, including Travelodge etc. There was a tiny gap, for example, between the bed and the hangers, so you had to side step or climb the bed. I booked this 3 star hotel thinking the standard of rooms would be good, but it was smaller than my bedroom at home. Parking amply available behind the building, but I was very lucky to have free parking to the left of the property, as I arrived after 18:30. I personally wouldn't stay here again, as even at Travelodge you'd get a better standard and more room.. As I say however, the team were lovely and I appreciate you cannot change the interior design and room layout... I just wish the photos reflected that a little clearer before I booked. Thanks.

What a great place to stay, nice clean rooms, very nice staff, will definitely stay there again, and recommend it to all my friends, and there is a nice park directly opposite, I don't think we could have found a nicer place to stay

"Particularly helpful staff"
helen l, 05 Septembre 2020

This is an inexpensive hotel. The room was tidy, neat and very clean with all facilities. Staff particularly helpful and approachable and I felt very welcome and relaxed which was important to me as I was travelling alone. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay.

"Good"
Trip248250, 23 Avril 2020

Was really good for short stay. Friendly reception. Nice location in front of a park, but bit noisy because of the busy avenue. Room was boiling hot when I came in because heating was on maximum power.

"Top value for money!"
miltosapostolidis, 29 Mars 2020

I stayed here for 3 nights during March 2020.The hotel is just opposite Finsbury Park, with bus stop just outside ,between Manor House and Finsbury Park tube stations ( Piccadily & Victoria lines ),its a ratherly small hotel but its very nice and very clean with great staff. All the people that i interacted with (front desk , cleaners , breakfast staff ) were amazing willing to help with a smile. The room was at the small size but adequate and very clean. It is a quiet hotel , high quality of sleep , with basic breakfast but it has all the neccessary items. You can take the bus no 29 ( stop at 10 m from the hotel ) bothways : southbound to Traffalgar sq. or northbound to Wood Green Shopping city. My overall impression was extremely positive , i recommend this hotel and i would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"You get what you pay for"
Dani-Jade K, 18 Février 2020

First of all, the hotel and staff are lovely...rooms are small but adequate with comfortable beds and a really good shower. We were in room 203 at the front of the building and unfortunately had one of the lights from the front of the hotel shining right into our window and the curtain's didn't do a great job at keeping the light out but it wasn't a massive issue for me. The staff are all extremely pleasant from the reception staff to the cleaners...everyone said hello and had a smile on their faces. In my opinion, breakfast wasn't great at all and if I were to stay here again I wouldn't have it but I'm sure it will suit people who want to quickly grab something to eat in the morning.

"Great value, convenient and safe"
f1bjb5qy91080c8c2020, 05 Février 2020

I booked this business trip with only six weeks notice, expecting to have to grossly overpay for a London hotel. Especially when I was looking for a chain, (as a lone female traveller, I feel more comfortable). I was over the moon to find this hotel at around £32 per night and less than ten minutes walk from Finsbury Park station (or 2 mins by bus). I was made feel very welcome on check in, with everything explained and an optional choice of floor. The single room was compact, (but not too small), very clean, cosy (adjustable radiator), clean towels in shower and heated rail. Flatscreen TV with freeview, a safe, a selection of tea/coffee and biscuits. Great free wifi. Plenty of hanging space/storage. A hairdryer and well lit, large vanity mirror above a desk and another full length mirror. The bed was very comfortable and there was a spare pillow. The hotel was very quiet at night, even though it is on a busy road. The surrounding area is safe to walk at night and is served by very regular buses. It's directly opposite the park. I arrived on a Sunday and there were plenty of people in there if you wanted a walk/to exercise. It's also handy to plenty of shops for amenities. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again !

"Another night away"
Ian F, 21 Janvier 2020

Arriving at 8 pm just wanted to eat. Nothing was available. They did offer to get a delivery. Breakfast was very basic compared to many others in the chain. Room clean and quiet at night. Tea and coffee were available in the room.

"Great stay as always "
wimpo1706, 09 Janvier 2020

We stay here every December for the World Darts Championship. It's a perfect location with short taxi ride to Alexandra Palace. The rooms are always comfy and clean. This was our 6th year in a row. Always reasonable price and great friendly staff. We'll be back again next year.

"Perfection "
jomechelles, 01 Janvier 2020

Perfect from start to finish! At check in the guy was super friendly, interacting with myself and my partner which rarely happens. The room was perfect, spotless, beautiful bathroom and lovely high powered shower. We had a wonderful night sleep and could do with one of these beds at home! We wasn't going to have breakfast but we changed our mind and we glad we did! Wide selection of drinks, cereals, fruit, meat/cheese then a full English. Absolutely lovely. Highly recommend and will be definitely starting again

"Uncomfortable bed and worst breakfast ever"
WalkerDebs, 12 Décembre 2019

There should be a minimum expected comfort for a place that describes itself as a hotel and the bed here was so uncomfortable that the springs stuck in my back and the duvet didn't reach the edge of the bed. Then breakfast was instant coffee, stale tasting cooked breakfast, hard croissants, watery orange juice, no fruit. I had thought that a Best Western would give a minimum standard. But I was very wrong

"Clean rooms, professional, friendly service"
MCS7281928, 02 Décembre 2019

I arrived late after a very long train journey. I found the staff were friendly, helpful and polite and there was no fuss to checking in or out. Great service all round and good value for money. I'd stay here again.

"Friendly staff, great value for money"
f191z7qyzh080cdy2019, 25 Novembre 2019

Great location, only 5 minutes easy walk from the tube station. Friendly staff helped me for an early check and I appreciated very much. Good wifi speed. Room is clean and with a nice shower. Size of my single room is decent.

"Pleasant place to stay."
JHHTWOO, 11 Novembre 2019

The hotel is run efficiently and all staff are most friendly and helpful. The hotel is well-served by frequent buses with bus stops in both directions only about 50 yards away. Notably the 29 bus gets you to Trafalgar Square in about 30 minutes. Tube stations are a short bus ride away.

"Small but functional"
Abby_couple_12, 08 Novembre 2019

European size room need to realize that the room and bathroom will be proportionally smaller than North American ones. The room was extremely hot for November. Had to turn heat off completely and have windows open at all times. Would be unbearable heat in the summer months.

"Lovely 1 Night Stay"
Y715QOpaulw, 13 Octobre 2019

Room was spotless. No dirt or dust. Staff were very friendly. Stayed in room on -1 only problem is shower had very or little no pressure. Cost me 5 euros in an uber from Kings Cross, also close to a tube station.

"Very small tight room!"
f18pb8y8k1080c9y2019, 13 Octobre 2019

very, very small room, not much space to move around at all! it didn't specify this in the advertisement, the advertisement contains false measurements of the room! really unhappy with the false information provided!

"Perfect for Wireless Festival!"
HollManc1990, 06 Octobre 2019

Stayed here for 3 nights for Wireless festival in Finsbury park. Perfect accommodation for this event! Good price on the room considering there was an event over the road. Security on doors at night time when the festival ends, so feel very safe! On site parking available through a gated entrance. Staff very friendly and have a small bar and snacks available on reception. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Very warm in the rooms and do not have air conditioning but a very large fan was provided which was very much appreciated!! Bathroom is small but clean and serves its purpose. Very close to Finsbury Park tube station. Opposite Finsbury park. Booked to stay here next year for Wireless festival!

"Comfortable stay. Ideal location"
Leigh K, 06 Octobre 2019

Stayed here whilst visiting London with my teenage son. On arrival we were allowed to get into our room earlier than usual which meant we didn't need to sight see with luggage. Reception staff very very courteous and helpful. Beds very comfortable and a good night sleep was had by all. Great location as short walk to an underground. Meant you weren't in the business of the city itself.

"Good hotel"
HattonScotland, 30 Septembre 2019

Stayed here with my husband and 7 year old son. Room was clean with a double bed and single. Room small and not a lot of space for clothes but for the price it was fine and we were only staying 2 nights so didn't have loads with us. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a computer and printer in reception for guests to use free of charge. Breakfast was fine. Enough choice for everyone. Handy for transport. Tube station about a ten min walk. Bus stop right outside. Would stay again.

"3 day stay."
LucanQL, 02 Septembre 2019

Stayed here for 3 nights. The location is great, opposite Finsbury Park. It is 5 minutes from the Tube Station and about 15 minutes from The Emirates stadium. The room and facilities are clean and the staff are really helpful and friendly.

"High Price for Rundown Hotel"
Nadav228, 30 Août 2019

I booked a room for 4, but 2 people could barely move around in the room. I asked for a more spacious room and had to pay 30 pounds extra for each night. The larger room was spacious, but old, stained carpets, creaking floor and beds that should be discarded.

"Quick Stay in the capital for a party"
AMD1T, 27 Août 2019

Very small clean room with a new carpet.. Big fan in room which was useful but really could do with some proper air con that you could have on a quiet setting while sleeping, as it was exceptionally hot on Saturday bank holiday weekend,. No breakfast menu in our room.

"Good value for money"
hilag0, 27 Août 2019

We needed a place to stay for one night in london, we came at noon and left in 8 am, so I looked for not so expensive hotel. The hotel located 40 mins by bus from oxford street, and there is a bus station just accross the street.

"Worn out hotel"
walesnumber1, 20 Août 2019

We were supposedly upgraded to the flats since they didn't have a room that sleeps 4 which is what I had booked The room had old worn out carpets mold growing on the ceilings and no air condition. There really was anything good to say about this place.

"Visiting family "
philsan68, 18 Août 2019

Nice rooms clean and comfortable. The only improvement needed is air con in the room. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The bathroom is clean and tidy and the shower is good. The room was serviced whilst we were there and it was excellent.

"No Air Con"
Zx500, 05 Août 2019

The basic requirement for a stay in a hotel is a good night's sleep. The room was unbearably hot at night making sleeping virtually impossible. The rooms were cramped and generally uncomfortable. Would never stay here again, a total waste of money.

"BW Highbury"
sglove367600, 19 Juillet 2019

Great stay at this spotless comfortable hotel Close to transport links and a good selection of cafes and restaurants within a short walking distance We enjoyed the Park View Cafe for lunch and Blighty for breakfast

"Stunk Of Smoke"
marko1878, 17 Juillet 2019

A sticker on the door stating Non-smoking and a card on the table warning of a £225 fine for smoking in the room. You'd have thought that was sufficient to stop someone smoking. Well, iit appears not. Not only did the room stink of smoke but the window ledge even had the ash still on it! Bathrooom was spotless Breakfast adequate Staff OK You might want to find who was in 107 the night of the 14th July and send them the £225 bill. Won't be back

"Pleasant stay"
Drummer3, 12 Juillet 2019

We stayed here for one night. It was good value. We got an upgrade to a slightly bigger room and a special offer on the breakfast. The bed was comfortable. Tea/coffee and some biscuits in the room. The breakfast had good choices including gluten free corn flakes. Check-in and check-out quick and easy with friendly staff. Good place to stay if visiting this part of North London.

"Great hotel. Good value"
weebaldtcat, 09 Juillet 2019

Chose this hotel as it was reasonably priced and it had good reviews. I was not disappointed. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. The room was on the small side but was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The tube is a ten minute walk away and only a few stops to central London. It is one of the cheaper hotels but well worth it

"This hotel was everything we needed while visited London"
state2state, 02 Juillet 2019

We stayed here for a week with a tour group. We were barely in the rooms since we were touring all day, but the beds were comfortable and the rooms were great for what we needed. Small but cozy rooms. Breakfast was great each morning, the front desk staff was awesome. The hotel is near two entrances to the Tube and across the street from a beautiful and very large park which has a small cafe in it and tons of walking trails. We would definitely stay here.

"Great hotel"
linneal269, 24 Juin 2019

Family friendly and well located close to cosy Finsbury Park and 2 tube stations. The breakfast is good and varied and well worth the price. Friendly straff! Overall a very good hotel experience although the beds were too hard for my taste.

"Rude staff"
Fearless26700609049, 23 Juin 2019

I was embarrassed and spoken to in a disgraceful manner by a member of staff. Breakfast was expensive and you got the bare minimum. The Hotel in general was OK, clean and tidy but if you don't like been embarrassed by the staff when they were very much in the wrong. Unusual for Best Western who are usually great.

"Excellent value"
V8060MUjackb, 18 Juin 2019

For 70 quid a night in June you can't complain at all about this place. Very clean, polite staff, tasty breakfast, comfortable room (albeit slightly small), and excellent location next to Finsbury Park and near to two tube stations.

"Kind manager"
Danielle T, 11 Juin 2019

Did not stay but wanted to say that Peter, the manager, is a great and understanding guy. It's our wedding and we've had some major trouble with bookings (booked by a family member) and because of unforeseen circumstances, we've had to cancel our stay with the hotel. We're hoping that the hotel carries values that are empathetic towards our situation but in the meantime I can safely say that Peter has been kind towards us and willing to hear us out and our reasoning. We're really hoping we can update our review with more praises of the hotel.

"Good hotel - really convenient"
jennid0bs0n, 26 Mai 2019

My partner and I stayed here during a trip to London in March - specifically because we were doing a tour of the Emirates so it was really well placed. 5ish minute walk to the tube station so we were in and out a lot. Bed was comfortable but the room was very small - plus we were in the basement so it was quite dark and lots of foot traffic next to our window above our heads. Although to staff didn't bat an eyelid when we asked to stay an extra night and then we ordered pizza to our room as we were too exhausted to go out! I'd stay again definitely as it was so convenient and reasonable. I'd ask for a different room though.

"Excellent customer service"
samantha s, 16 Mai 2019

We were charged by booking.com twice for our one night stay and they refused to refund us due to technical reasons. Peter the area manage for Best Western and Nila a staff member at the Hotel could not have been more helpful, understanding my dilemma and working hard to ensure that our refund was eventually provided. Very comfortable room, very clean, good location for the reservoir centre.

"Excellent staff"
MSTraveller55, 07 Mai 2019

I stayed here while chaperoning a group of middle school students. We had an excellent stay. The staff at the front desk and dining room were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was definitely one of the best we've had on these group trips. I enjoyed the park right across the road which was nice for a short morning run. The rooms were small, as to be expected in a large expensive city, but they were always clean and the bathrooms were nice. I have to thank Peter, the manager, for helping me when I left some items in my room. He kindly and efficiently coordinated sending them back to me and safely charging my card for the postage.

"My stay in highbury"
Freedom59927188421, 11 Avril 2019

Staff excellent, bed a little too hard for me. Facilities in the room were good, and biscuits, always a bonus. Good position for Finsbury Park underground, 15 minutes to Covent Garden. So excellent position to visit London sites, without staying in London. Value for money 9/10

"Excellent value for money"
Luis V, 27 Mars 2019

Convenient location with two tube stations in the area, tidy facilities, friendly staff, good buffet breakfast, very comfortable room with all amenities needed including electrical outlets and tea/coffee/biscuits available every day,

"The Hell Hotel"
Stuart J, 26 Mars 2019

This place must really be the worst best western hotel in the UK. Well, if you are sitting comfortably, I will begin. When I arrived at the tube station I did know the location of the hotel. So, I rang the hotel for directions to be greeted with the response/I'm training and I can't help you.....and she put the phone down. How helpful and how friendly. Next I have a lengthy wait for check in. The man in front of me is being told he will not get any points because a company has booked his room.He is a Gold member The argument goes on and on and on. Next it's my turn...I'm a Diamond select member....maybe I will be treated better. No I am not. Bear in mind I'm not greeted as a Diamond select member, so the training isn't that good. I say but regardless of you not giving me points, I am entitled to 5oo bonus points or free water. Not there I'm not. My room had a smoker before....window left wide open...freezing and smell of cigarettes. Every few minutes strong vibration under the bed...did not find out what it was, but it kept me awake.I was in Room 211. Everytime you touch the lift switch you get a mini electric shock with the static that's there. Maybe a health and safety check should be done.I was so glad to leave the Hell Hotel. What a place and a waste of money. No customer care at all. Just disgraceful. By the way where are all the loyalty points going....they find lots of reasons to avoid giving you any. Never a Duty Manager around to help you. Avoid the place unless you enjoyed the TV series Fawlty Towers. By the way, no evening food and a breakfast similar to an average prison catering service. The hotel is well decorated and well lit at night. It has a letter box next to it. Just trying to find some nice things to say. I hated my stay. Staff treat you like dirt. A nightmare . Never, ever going to stay in that place again

GlobeTrotting793442, 24 Mars 2019

Hotel fairly close to Holloway Road underground station. About one block straight west on Holloway road. Bus to downtown stops a few door west of hotel on Holloway road. Hotel clean and comfortable with pleasant staff. Good breakfast.

"Average stay"
entertainertraveller, 19 Mars 2019

We had to walk up and down stairs with our luggage, the room was really basic and small, the window had quite big gaps in it so we could hear a lot of noise outside, and I thought for the price paid the parking should of at least been few but I was asked at check in to pay £10

"Weekend Away"
Freedom68323021048, 12 Mars 2019

We chose this hotel as near to Arsenal FC for a weekend break. The hotel is clean and tidy and the breakfast had a variety of self serve items cooked and Continental, just be aware breakfast is served early (up to 9.30am weekdays and 10am weekends). Car parking available at a charge at the back of the hotel. There is a small bar at reception where you can buy drinks. There is no evening restaurant but with the tube close it's not a problem and people were having takeaways delivered to their rooms which they seemed happy to allow.

"Clean and comfortable but also tired and a bit pokey"
Hammo789, 08 Mars 2019

When I saw the room my heart sank a little! On the plus side, the bed was pretty comfortable and everything in the room was very clean. On the other: the duvet was too thin (I was cold!) and too small for the bed, the carpets and curtains felt as though they'd had a tough life, the walls were very thin which meant I could hear e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g from the neighbour's bathroom - that is unless I had put the light on in the bathroom - at which point the fan ran for about half an hour (fine during the day but a little irritating during the night). Finally, every 5 minutes or so overnight, something made the room shake. To get any chance of sleep I ended up moving everything by the window so that when the room shook the whole place didn't rattle! I wondered if the hotel was above the tube line but the rattling didn't happen during the day so I don't think this could have been the case. Needless to say I did not get a terribly good nights sleep. I often stay with Best Western as you know what standard to expect but unfortunately this hotel did not meet my expectations.

"Great hotel. Beds are SO comfy"
lareinetammy, 05 Mars 2019

Lovely hotel in a really great location. Right opposite Finsbury Park and less than two minutes walk from Manor House station. Very clean rooms. Plenty to eat at breakfast. Only downside is that there was no fridge in the room which made things a bit difficult although the staff at reception put our things in the hotel fridge which was helpful. Best thing are the beds.... SO comfortable!!!

"No complaints. Very good "
stevec607, 21 Février 2019

Situated approximately 10 mins from Finsbury park station, a clean, friendly hotel. Good rooms with wall mounted TV and all mod cons. Free Wifi throughout and very pleasant staff. Very well priced too, excellent value for money. No complaints

"Clean, quiet, efficient!"
cristina t, 18 Février 2019

Will return on next trip!! Very clean, new efficient shower and bath, good breakfast selection, attentive and kind staff! It's a short walk from Finsbury Park underground station and right in front of Park entrance. Efficient heating, even too hot, but windows do open. Very pleased!

"Fabulous staff!!!!"
RPG9, 30 Janvier 2019

Two fantastic weeks! The staff made the stay absolutely amazing. I can't thank them enough. I hope I got all the names correctly. Bobby was such a gentleman. Always smiling and willing to help. Bianca was incredibly kind and helped us to get everything we needed sorted in the smoothest way possible. Nila was wonderful! So kind, warm and helpful at all times. She has such a great sense of hospitality. We loved the hotel especially because of this awesome team! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. This company is really luck to have them. A HUGE THANK YOU to the 3 of you. We will never forget our stay at the BW Highbury and we are looking forward to seeing you all again when we come back from Brazil to visit London again. All the best!

"Bobby"
neilc338, 25 Janvier 2019

Pretty cool hotel. Well positioned, clean and cheap parking. Reception staff are spot on. Bobby from Macedonia is the man and a credit to the hotel and brand. Room and hotel are a bit on the warm side for me and park facing room was subject to 7 sisters road noise which suited me as I prefer to hear civilisation as opposed to silence. Great place and close to pubs and eateries. No wonder Abu Hanza liked the area! I'll be back

"Good position, great staff, compact rooms"
KDSunshine15, 27 Décembre 2018

The Best Western usually has good standards, the staff and the position of the hotel upheld these. The hotel is conveniently placed just outside the congestion zone, but near to 2 good tube stations. We were visiting the theatre, and booked 2 rooms, a standard twin for our grown up children, and superior king for ourselves. The hotel was clean, though some carpets a little warn. The twin was facing the park, and was bright and clean with a decent shower room. The "superior" King size was a disappointment, it faced the car park, significantly smaller, with a much smaller window and shower room. It made me wonder how much smaller the standard was, I suspect the rooms would be the same size just the bed standard, which would have at least given some room around the bed, as in our room there was less than 50cm around the bed.As there was no space for a wardrobe, everything was attached to the only space available on the rear wall, with extra pillows and blankets filling any remaining space. The breakfast was reasonable and the staff lovely. To sum up, great position, lovely staff, a lottery on the room, be warned if you suffer from claustrophobia.

"Nice hotel"
jasonfE8803RV, 23 Décembre 2018

This is a nice hotel with clean rooms and a friendly service only down side is the breakfast it's just not very good. If they could improve the breakfast would be a great place. Was there with friends and it's ok for under visuals but can't comment for couples or families

"Visiting The Emirates"
FSMD, 10 Décembre 2018

We had a group of 2 adults and 3 teenagers attending a match at The Emirates stadium and we flew in on the Frday night before the match. The hotel is easily reachable from 2 tube stations on the Piccadilly line and we found the hotel no problem. We were met with a big smile and a quick no fuss check in which is always a bonus. The Hotel is not new but was perfect, clean, light, everthing worked and the rooms were nice and well serviced - not tired. We ate in a nearby Subway sandwich shop as we had the children with us - but there were gastro pubs nearby. The next morning we had an early breakfast - there was plenty on offer and the children ae for free - £7 for adults which was good value. We got advice on travel to the stadium from the receptionist (1 stop to Arsenal station) and they kindly kept the bags until after the game. All in all we all agreed for the price we paid we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the rooms and the feel of the hotel - it punches above its weight. The staff are excellent - only downside is the busy road outside but earplugs are provided if you want them. Thanks for a great stay guys - well done you may our stay!

"Nice hotel"
ashleyh538, 20 Novembre 2018

Me and my partner stopped here as part of a buyagift voucher, on arrival the receptionist was very polite and welcoming. The room was small however sufficient. The room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. Hotel well located for tube stations and just over a ten minute tube ride to kings cross. The breakfast was ok nothing special standard help yourself buffet.

"Great stay!"
pranav_san, 05 Novembre 2018

Stayed at the property for roughly 6 nights. Loved everything. Right from it's location (It's situated between Finsbury Park & Manor House Stations), to the hospitable staff, to the rooms (small, yet worth it). We were fortunate enough to occupy a room facing Finsbury Park, which made for a beautiful view. Alex at the reception was of great help, and extremely kind. Definitely one of my top options during my next visit to London.

"All you need "
Linda D, 14 Octobre 2018

Stayed in triple room, beds comfy, great shower even though bathroom is quite small. Polite staff, very nice area as hotel is opposite a park, 2 tube stations in close proximity so easy to get around. Overall a great stay

"Great staff"
nicolast, 28 Septembre 2018

Rooms are small but they have everything you need. I had an issue with my room and the guy on nights sorted it and upgraded my room. Breakfast was fine. Good price. Short 10minute walk to the tube station. Would visit again.

"A pleasant, friendly, relaxing hotel opposite Finsbury Park"
Rob C, 16 Septembre 2018

This was my 2nd visit to this hotel and it was equally as good as my first visit last year. Very clean, friendly staff, great breakfast and easily located...stone's throw from a bus-stop and only 5 minutes on foot to Finsbury Park subway station. Plenty of greenery opposite the hotel in the form of Finsbury Park. The reception area has a small and comfortable bar area for a drink and a chat if required. The whole hotel is well-tended and it has an elevator. Only problem for some could be the front rooms overlooking the busy Seven Sisters Road...it can be quite noisy late into the night, if you prefer to sleep with the windows open. All in all a very recommendable, good value hotel

"One night only! "
Lilyv290, 07 Septembre 2018

I stayed here for 2 nights with my partner and grandmother in another room. Our room was clean, small, quiet from traffic however the rooms are definitely not sound proof! Bathroom clean but extractor very noisy. Sheets heavily stained, need updating. My grandmother's single room was like Harry potters cupboard, so bless her having to spend a long time in there, was very depressing. And incredibly noisy from the street. Breakfast was pretty much inedible, the little cakes and breads weren't fresh. And all the hot food had turned to rubber due to being sat on the heat for hours. We stayed two nights because of a wedding, and wouldn't recommend if you're spending any time at the hotel. Rather depressing.

"Great"
NicolaG1591, 04 Septembre 2018

Room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very convenient for the tube. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again, but would ask for a quiet room as traffic outside is busy.

"Great hotel for a short break "
helenwilling, 03 Septembre 2018

I booked this hotel as it was near to my daughters university accommodation. It advertises that there is parking and as we were bringing a van full of her and my sons stuff it seemed like a good place to stay. The hotel was fine basic but clean and comfortable the staff were very helpful and the parking a real bonus for us ! You don't really want to be parking a van full of stuff anywhere in London. The location is actually very convenient from a tube perspective too! I would stay here again when . I come to visit her!

"Terrible bed"
311ruth58, 03 Septembre 2018

The bed was so uncomfortable that I left at 4 30 am in the morning. The room was tiny. There was some noise but you expect that in a London hotel.I can't tell you anything about the breakfast because I left in the night.

"ok for 1 night"
jokerhomerfnk, 26 Août 2018

the rooms are small and breakfast can be acceptable. the hotel is very close to the metro , 5 min by walking. there is shoppinh area near the hotel. not a good choice if you wanted to visit city center.

"Clean comfortable rooms reasonably priced"
peter_j_isaac, 21 Août 2018

We spent the day around London and were happy to have a clean comfortable room to return to. The extra cot we ordered made the room feel small. Also the ensuite shower felt bit cramped but was clean and everything worked. The rear facing room was quiet even with the window open. Seven Sisters Road is very busy and noisy so try and avoid a park facing room even if this gives nice views of the park.

"Overnight stay "
Liddy71, 29 Juillet 2018

Quick easy check in. Very clean rooms. Windows that open which is a nice change. Two fans in the room which were needed and used. Breakfast was booked last minute the night before with no issues. Plenty of choice to eat and nothing to much trouble for the staff. Needed a later check out time which was given with no fuss. Short walk to shops, cafes and pubs and also to the tube. Would definitely stay again.

"Perfect for an Arsenal Game"
DanielL2463, 25 Juillet 2018

Nothing special as a hotel, but it fit the bill perfectly for our Arsenal experience. Held our delivered tickets for us and provided excellent recommendations and directions for pubs and food. On our way out the concierge was extremely helpful in navigating the bus system to get to Stansted

"Clean, reasonably priced..."
Louise B, 13 Juillet 2018

We needed a hotel near the Victoria line for an event. Lots to choose from but felt it would be safer to use a well known chain. The hotel itself was a good 5 minute walk from the underground and it felt a little scary in the early hours - but then again, so would lots of places! Lots of shops, cafes etc On a busy main road, opposite Finsbury Park itself, the hotel was clean and the beds very comfy. Small but functional bathroom. It was HOT but 2 fans were provided - there is no air con which wouldn't normally be a problem - we're not used to a heatwave conditions here!! We didn't have breakfast so can't comment about that. Our only slight gripe was a not overly friendly welcome... very business-like ladies on reception. However, the night porter was very pleasant! Not sure we'd return in future. It was however just a bed for the night, and in those terms, it was fine.

"More of a B&B than Hotel but non the worse for that."
Mike F, 09 Juillet 2018

Booked two rooms so my son and his friend could visit the Wireless Festival across the road in Finsbury Park, for which the hotel is well located and they have private parking at a very reasonable price. The hotel is clean, well kept and the staff are excellent. There is a bar at reception and a dining room for breakfast (which due to to time constraints we could not try) they do sandwiches but there is no restaurant and to be honest if you are of a certain age there is not a lot of decent restaurants around. That said the tube is only a 5 min walk away with Leicester Sq about 15 mins ride. Would I stay there again? Yes of course.

"Good hotel with excellent connections to central London - good value"
REL3003, 01 Juillet 2018

The room was most satisfactory. It was a cosy single, as expected by the online description. However there was a small desk/dressing table, with a chair, very good internet and a large desk fan. The room was hot, but with the window open and the fan on it was a manageable temperature. The bed was quite comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and cushions. I didn't use the TV, but it was a good size. The bathroom was compact but very good, with excellent water pressure in the shower and lovely soap (Dove). For London and only 20 minutes from St Pancras this was a very good hotel for the price. I'd think about staying here again - as long as I didn't have the same problem with the wrong key/room number. The reception staff made a rather large mistake in giving me the key to a room which was ALREADY OCCUPIED! This meant that I walked in on a man getting changed. I promptly apologised and returned to the reception. I received a quick apology and was given a different number and key. To save money I didn't use the hotel for breakfast, but there were plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. It was an easy walk to Manor House Tube Station, and a good easy commute into central London. There was an excellent Indian restaurant nearby called Sunderban - very tasty! I was at the hotel for business and it was ideally located, the room had everything that I needed short of a mini-fridge - but to be honest I would not have expected that for the price - £61 for a night. Tastefully decorated. Some noise from the road, but then again it is London! Overall I would be happy to stay here again.

"Perfect Location!"
User, 30 Juin 2018

We stayed here for 1 night on 29th June as we had tickets for Liam Gallagher gig at Finsbury Park. Perfect location for the gig, literally couldn't get any closer. Parking was available for £10 which is very reasonable. Room was fantastic for what we needed, we were put in 2 bedroom apartment at the back of hotel and as there was 4 of us it was perfect for what we needed. Only down side was lack of air con in the rooms. Hotel Bar was also open after the gig which was a bonus also. Would definitely stay again if we returned to London.

"Hot and Noisy!"
Bird84, 28 Mai 2018

Nice hotel overall but wouldnt advise staying in the summer months as the rooms dont have air conditioning (a fan was provided). Also the hotel is on a main road so the traffic noise is constant throughout the night, which is when I realised what the ear plugs were for! Great location opposite Finsbury Park but unfortunately the sleep quality was awful so wouldnt stay here again.

"Good value for London"
Michael W, 27 Mai 2018

Clean modern rooms, good parking at a reasonable fee, nice staff, close to tube, good buffet breakfast. Finsbury Park isn't the nicest of areas but the hotel was good and was an excellent base for travelling into London on the tube.

"Highbury Finsbury Park NOISE HORRENDOUS - like staying in Benidorm!"
benidorm2018, 21 Mai 2018

I`m sad to report my horrendous night`s stay at the BW Highbury. Following my wedding celebrations returned late evening to the noise of drums and road noise which was awful and non-stop midnight to 6 a.m. It was like holidaying in Benidorm !!I did not sleep at all, despite using the earplugs provided by the hotel,- hotel needs to advise guests they could swap rooms if available in the night - book rear room if you stay - staff charming room fine

"Saved a weekend"
jonnnnnnnnnny, 20 Mai 2018

I was booked into one of the more austere hotels on Seven Sisters Road. The Best Western was close to where I needed to be and the room was comparatively luxurious. Awni, who was working on reception when I checked in, was an absolute delight and made me feel incredibly welcome. It was much appreciated after a long commute. The room had plug sockets next to the bed, which is a key component of a hotel room in the year 2018.

"BW London Highbury"
Kenneth M, 03 Avril 2018

Cosy hotel with very friendly staff. Best thing about it is the service provided. Some rooms are a little small in space but all amenities were working. If facing the street, expect noises even though the windows are closed.

"A night near friends"
nick b, 03 Avril 2018

We slept at the rear which was quiet in a smallish room which was comfortable and quite well furnished. Although partly in two Victorian houses they had been processed by the bland team to look dull. Plenty for breakfast...all self service in a boring room... but WHY had the accountants been along to insist that scrambled eggs looked like you would expect during WW2 ...powdered.egg ....it can't save them much money. Our breakfast was included which made the room good value but we would not have been happy paying the advertised £10 each. The very pleasant lady on reception called a taxi for us....was it uber? No meter and £8 just to go to Green Lanes Stoke Newington...and that only included a grim looking driver.

"Functional "
shexxa, 27 Mars 2018

A competitively priced hotel with all room amenities you would need for a short stay. Even though I stayed at the back of the hotel which avoided the traffic noise, I was awoken several times quite early due to doors slamming and being opened / closed as people were going down early for breakfast - not much insulation in the rooms. But overall a decent hotel for the price and very clean.

"2 night stay"
weedee76, 24 Février 2018

The first night I stayed on the first floor in a room facing the road and I didn't get any sleep as the traffic noise was horrendous.I spoke to reception the next morning and I was upgraded to a double room at the rear of the building. I got a great nights sleep. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and at £7 you couldn't get better and it is spotless

"A little gem!"
11sue, 23 Février 2018

We love this hotel, mainly because of the staff, all of whom without exception are excellent (friendly, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.) Rooms are clean and beds comfy. The hotel is within walking distance of Finsbury Park and Manor Park Tube Stations, and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is tasty, buffet style continental options and full English. It is the lovely, caring and attentive staff and good all round customer service that sets this hotel apart.

"Small but clean rooms, very helpful staff. Overall a great stay!"
AmsterdamShamrock, 30 Janvier 2018

I was looking for a hotel close to a party location and came across this hotel. I'm glad I did! The hotel is 15 minutes approx from Kings Cross station by tube (get off at Manor House, it's a 5 minute walk). The rooms are fairly compact, I had a triple room which is not big but it was quite a bit larger than my parents room, they had a double and it reminded me of a ships cabin room. However, this is London and at £60 per night, we can't complain. Shower room again compact but a nice powerful shower. Breakfast was not included but you can get it for £10 normally per person and there was an offer on while I was there for £7. I think it was well worth it for the selection on offer. If you are there by car they have a car park which had plenty of spaces at £10 per day. I'd like to make a special mention regarding the staff, they were all very helpful with any questions or requests. I would stay there again!

"2 night stay"
Neil B, 27 Janvier 2018

We stayed here while going to snooker at alexandra palace. Nice clean hotel, good breakfast and the staff could not do enough for us. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Full English breakfast, wi fi and the beds are very comfortable

"Overnight stay"
sannki, 21 Janvier 2018

Fairly basic but very clean and has all you need for an overnight stay, e.g. attending an event at Alexandra Palace or on a business trip. Small bar with drinks and snacks. Wifi in room but a bit slow. Decent breakfast for £12. Car park but you have to pay £10.

"Perfect location with car parking"
nataliefarrar, 09 Janvier 2018

We chose this hotel as my husband and son went to watch Arsenal play a match at home. This turned out to be a half an hour walk away or a short tube ride. Myself and my daughter got the bus just outside the hotel which was a 20 min. ride to Camden. There are 2 different tube stations a short walk at Finsbury Park and Manor House. We needed a car park, which cost £10 a night and seemed secure at the back of the hotel. The hotel is in front of a park and quiet but just a short walk away from shops, and snack places. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Should we visit London again in a car we would definitely use this hotel.

"Suitable for 1 night stay"
Monique31, 04 Janvier 2018

We stayed here as our family were going to a football match in the Emirates. About 10 minute walk from Finsbury Pk metro and less than 20 mins from Emirates. Rooms are small/ compact and clean. Our room looked out on Seven Sisters rd and was very noisy with traffic. Staff kindly accommadated my request to move to a quieter room at back of building. Rooms warm/clean with extra pillows provided. Lots of shops and cafes in the area

"New Years Eve"
Julie W, 01 Janvier 2018

Great little hotel in a perfect location for visiting the centre of London. Opposite Finsbury Park and only 5 minutes walk to Finsbury Park tube or Manor Park tube depending on whether you turn left or right out of the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and a real credit to the company. The room, although small, was immaculate and ery comfortable. Parking is off road at the back of the hotel and cost £10 for 24hrs, but we were allowed to leave the car there after checking out at no extra cost. Breakfast was typical buffet style with plenty of choice, the cooked breakfast tasted funny but there was plenty of other items to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

"Christmas break"
EricX14, 12 Décembre 2017

Excellent hotel for staying a couple of nights. Clean and staff helpful. The main rooms are quite small but ok for the weekend stay. The hotel has a bar and serves breakfast. It is easily walked form the tube stations.

"Overnight stay"
Steve H, 12 Décembre 2017

Lovely hotel, very clean and quite. Had double room which i think maybe a bit tight for 2 people but fine for single. Bathroom is a bit cold but would recomend for transit hotel. Reception staff very pleasent and polite

"Not a first choice, just about adequate !"
Jeremy H, 11 Décembre 2017

I suppose you get what you pay for. This was a last minute booking, wasnt particularly a lot of money for the location which was good for my requirements at the time and you do get what you pay for. Hotel was clean enough, car parking is available and chargeable, however staff were not very attentive or professional. This hotel is dated and requires modernisation. Breakfast was poor at best, food didn't look professionally cooked or served, the breakfast area resembles a cheap cafe. Wouldn't be my first choice if in the area gain.

"Nice and clean room"
Charito23, 29 Novembre 2017

A pleasant experience to stay in this three star hotel. Its a 5mins walk to the nearest Piccadilly line (Finsbury park) and almost £10 taxi from Victoria Underground station. The staff allowed us check in early coz we told we came in from a 14hr flight and they are very courteous to let us in to our room even if its not check in time yet. We came back to the hotel almost midnight from sightseeing and we were greeted with a warm smile of the gentleman on the front desk. We didn't manage to try breakfast the next day because of an early flight to Edinburgh. The next day we saw the same ladies who checked us in from the previous day and they asked how's our trip. The ladies are so accommodating and the other lady i think is still on training but manage to do her job so well. Our stay was pleasant and we're planning to stay in this hotel again once we are back in London. Good job for all the staff in Highbury!

"pleasant stay"
shincliffe, 17 Novembre 2017

Comfortable three star. Excellent staff. Room of a good standard. Comfortable bed. Good shower room. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast fine and plenty of it. Great for a couple of nights. Car park behind the hotel a big plus point.

"Nice clean hotel"
Fiona K, 13 Novembre 2017

This is a nice clean hotel, but with the usual London issue of small rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast isn't anything to write home about, but there is a gud choice because it's buffet style.

"Excellent Night Staff."
Baronbolligrew, 09 Novembre 2017

I arrived just before midnight and was met by a brilliantly warm welcome from the smartly dressed gentleman on reception. He swiftly checked me in and then allowed me access to the secure parking in the gated garage section of the car park, where I could be reassured my car and its contents would be perfectly safe. The room was small and the hotel basic. I have stayed there a number of times now over the years. It is, comfortable, clean and safe, but has no frills. For me, the outstanding feature this hotel has is its night staff - they couldn't be more helpful. With this in mind, I'm sure the staff during the day will be good too, but I have always arrived post midnight and only ever had an excellent experience.

"A nice surprise"
MrRaff007, 09 Novembre 2017

This is a surprisingly comfortable, basic, hotel. There are no eating facilities, but Finsbury Park centre is 0.5 mike away, where there are lots of restaurant options. The room was quiet, and bed good. The shower room was small, but clean and an effective use of available space. On the negative side, the Wi-fi is slow.

"Fine for an overnight stay"
Coolcookingteacher, 07 Novembre 2017

Ask for room at back much quieter than front and main road. Room very warm and clean. Bed comfy and room bijou but adequate for one night. We didn't eat breakfast went elsewhere. Staff polite and pleasant.

"Overnight Stay"
Laraine T, 07 Novembre 2017

Having looked at recent reviews, I thought I would like to add my own experience. The hotel could not be more conveniently situated for getting to all parts of London as Finsbury Park station (buses and underground) is only a five minute walk away. The rooms were comfortable and clean and breakfast was fine at only £7.00 a head. Parking provided at the hotel for only £10.00 for 24 hours and we were able to leave the car there after we had booked out which was really handy. We will certainly stay there again. yp

"Ok hotel in North London "
helen19675, 10 Octobre 2017

Stayed as a lone traveller. Car park ok lots of spaces. Check in ok. Room clean, fairly modern and not a bad size for London. Windows double glazed but not enough to block out travel noise from outside so nights sleep disrupted. hotel has no restaurant for food other than a room for buffet breakfast. Advertised bar is a few lounge chairs in reception.. Ok if you don't want any hotel amenities

"Really good location but bad night's sleep "
posy1991, 07 Octobre 2017

So the hotel itself is nice for the price, the fact that the hotel has parking is a massive plus (but do bear in mind this is £10 extra per night). We checked in and the staff were friendly, the bar area isn't much to talk about it, really just looks like a waiting room and it is the reception. They told us we had been upgraded, however it was just to a family room meaning it had a single bed in the room as well, felt it was a bit of a stretch to call this an upgrade. The room was a fine size, had some tea and coffee making facilities and was clean with a nice shower. The room also had a tv which had quite a loud buzz accompanying it. The room was fairly quiet to say it was on a main road and the light from outside didn't seem to bother us either. However the main downside to this hotel was the bed! Didn't get a good night's sleep at all - it was quite small (my partners feet hung off the end), the springs were so hard that I could feel them digging in most of the night and the pillows were uncomfy too. The location was ideal for us, literally 5 minutes walk from the tube stop so into centre of London in 20 minutes but hope they change the beds soon otherwise I wouldn't be back.

"Convenient North London Hotel"
Gavsters1, 26 Septembre 2017

Perfectly placed for the Tube. Opposite the large Finsbury park, with a number of pubs and eating places within walking distance. Very easy to get too by road, with a car park to the rear charged at £10 per 24 hrs. Rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is on offer at £10 for those who are too lazy to walk down the road to the great value Park View Cafe which I would recommend. everything you need is close by even a Lidl.

"Honeymoon from hell"
Alexandra C, 22 Septembre 2017

We were upgraded to an apartment from a room which was the only good thing about our stay. The night receptionist who checked us in was rude as was the staff member doing breakfast. Also the breakfast was revolting and then we were told despite it was included in our room rate that we had to pay extra for it. Despite this having paid near on £300 for a 2 night stay we decided to stay because we were spending a few days in London as part of our honeymoon. Luckily (well unluckily due to family illness) we had to leave before our 2nd night stay due to a family emergency. There was no sympathy from staff and no refund offered - blamed booking.com for being unable to refund even partially and an empty offer of a "cheaper rate if we book with the hotel again" was made.

"Adequate, handy to tube"
Citrus2512, 13 Septembre 2017

We stayed for two nights and were upgraded to a family room with two double beds. The room was adequate , perhaps a little small for a family of four but if you were just using the hotel as a base it would be fine. There is only one chair and the bathroom is small with a shower- no bath. However rooms were clean and tea and coffee making facilities were in the room. Staff were friendly and it is a very short walk to Manor House tube station. There is a nice park across the road and just before Manor House tube station there is a nice cafe called Parkview Cafe for breakfast. Would stay again if using for a base or on a quick trip but not for a long stay.

"3.5 stars"
DIONYSIOS M, 11 Septembre 2017

I stayed there one night. Very friendly staff. Clean room. Room size was fine for the category of the hotel. Location is also good in my opinion. 10 min from underground station. Not great noise isolation as you could listen everybody passing from the corridor as if they were in your room. Basic breakfast but again ok for the price. I booked several months in advance so I got a very good price. For that price I will return for sure. If I could give a 3.5 star rating I would do it.

"Overpriced, smelly room, just a bit grisly"
celloconcert, 10 Septembre 2017

One star is for the staff who were lovely. The second star is for the bed which was comfortable. Otherwise our experience was very disappointing for a hotel at this price. On arrival the staff kindly said they had upgraded us, but the larger room was on the busy main road and I had requested a quiet room. This information had not been recorded, and there was nothing left at the back except a small double which smelt of sewage. As soon as we got to the room reception rung to ask if we'd paid (we had!). We didn't notice the smell at first as we had just 15 mins to get changed and leave for the wedding we were attending, and as it was 1am when we arrived back, it was too late to make a fuss and we were too tired to change rooms, had there been one free. So we had to sleep with the window open, which defied the whole point of having a quiet room as the street, although at the back, was still quite noisy. We mentioned the smell in the morning and I asked if the rather dingy room was at the same price as I'd paid for, and was assured it was. Breakfast was adequate (horrible coffee), but it was supposed to be served until 10am and at 9.50 they started clearing it away, so I had to run up to grab some more before it all disappeared. Very disappointed with this experience. If Best Westerns are all like this I am never booking one again. But I reiterate, the staff were very nice indeed.

"Good stay"
Michavell, 17 Août 2017

Friendly staff, parking on site. Early check in really helped as the staff were understanding we wanted to get bags in the room and leave ASAP. Rooms were of a good standard and comfortable beds. Location is perfect and lots of shops near by for food and drinks with local transport near by to take you all over London. Perfect location for festivals held at Finsbury Park as it is directly over the road.

"Pleasant and Professional staff"
DevonMrsT, 14 Août 2017

Came to stay here for a Saturday night, our memory will be the staff, so helpful and pleasant. Arrived 3 hours before check in time but were able to leave the luggage so we could go back into the centre of London. The rooms although small were clean and well maintained. Our room was at the back so we could not hear the fraffic from the main road at the front, would recommend you ask for a rear room. We did not have breakfast but was informed available for £7 p.p.

"Lovely staff in great location"
keanfam, 10 Août 2017

Although this hotel is not in central London it was so much cheaper and enjoyable to make it worth using the tube to get to the theatre etc! Two lovely things happened and all credit to Elena on reception for both. One, she printed off and helped us with directions to our theatre but more importantly she found my purse in reception and returned it to me. Many thanks to her and her lovely male colleague. Finally the Ginsburg Park cafe , 5 minutes walk, was wonderful for breakfast. We'll be back xxx

"Definitely not coming back"
explorer7739, 09 Août 2017

This review is meant to help other travelers be it on budget or splurge. 2 nearest tubes are Manor House and Finsbury Park. The latest one was the furthest, however one can use Bus on Stop Q to ride on #29, 253 and more. Trip will take 10 min, even the walk to Manor house will take not less than that. Oyster card is a must, otherwise uber to go to nearest town centers will easily take about £11-15. Not easy when travel with kids, no waitrose or tesco nearby. Room is very small, unless you are used to with budget hotels in Tokyo, I suggest not to insist to stay here. Generally the staff are good, BUT..with exception of the most senior one --not sure maybe she is the manager? Anyway, long story short this lady during the check in, really trying her best to resist her staff to help us --only to show where the stairs are. Poor this junior, she has a good heart but felt apart, shamed due to her senior's bad behavior. If I were in BW management, I will replace this senior staff, overnight. I will not mention your name young lady, but your manager can go to log book, and see who is in charge on the Aug 6th -between 14.00 - 16.00. All in all, not worth it. But watch out, this type of hotels are being pushed by 3rd party provider such as 24×7rooms, despite their worst ever ratings. That's why we were trapped into this so-called travel arrangement. Nearby properties? Look for the ones near Leicester Square, or King's Cross. Adding £30-40 would not harm you. Things to note *generally*? choose properties within Zone 1, to save you on transport. I will share list of properties nearby tube station in my next post. By the way, if really can't avoid this hotel, ask before the arrival date to book your family a Car Park room, at least more spacious.

"Excellent Value"
Jerry B, 15 Juillet 2017

This was the first hotel in a 3 week solo European trip. I looking for a well reviewed, inexpensive, no frills hotel. I was completely satisfied. The room was clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly. I rented a single and got a room for one person. The room did not have AC (not unusual in England), but the evenings cooled off and there was a fan in the room. My only complaint was the lack of electrical outlets. There were 2, but after the fan, that left only 1 for a cell phone, camera and tablet. I will be better prepared next time. Also, the room included a tea set which took up a large section of table space. I'm not a tea or coffee drinker, so I moved it out of the way so no worries. WiFi was free and reliable. This portion of my trip, I was doing day excursions to southeastern England so I was off early and back late. I never got the chance to use the breakfast. There are 2 Tube stops within a 10 to 15 walk. This gave excellent access to multiple Tube lines.

"Wedding sleepover"
Wifeand3kids, 24 Juin 2017

This hotel was clean and well managed. Although they did get our room wrong, they were quick to change it. We were basically arriving, changing, wedding (elsewhere!), hen coming back and sleeping. Perfect for this. Plus nice breakfast with literally every option you could want. Coffee from machine was weak though so add a sachet to help with hangovers. Parking safe and easy. Rooms cool with big TV and fans. Good, inexpensive option right opposite Finsbury Park.

"Perfect size and price for a family of 5"
Jusco, 20 Juin 2017

We are two adults with 3 children and it is always a trial to find a hotel room that accomadates us all. The kids are too young still to have a room to themselves. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which was huge by London standards (we know because we lived there in 2006!). The staff were really helpful. Especially because there was some technically difficulties using the Best Western Travel Card, but Lucia was so professional and the whole situation, which could have been a drama, was handled beautifully. I really appreciate that and if it hadn't been handled well I swore never to use Best Western again but now I feel quite the opposite.

"Excellent Value for London"
vegan642016, 15 Juin 2017

Stayed in room 313, spotlessly clean, to the rear of the building and not at all noisy! The décor was fresh and the carpet soft underfoot. The shower facilities were spotless with handwash & bodywash provided. We needed to be close to Finsbury Park for a festival, this was perfectly located, and great value for London. The staff were welcoming, and friendly. The car park to the rear of the property at £10 /night was a bonus. We did not eat at the hotel so unable to comment on food. The only negative was the lack of air con, (we were lucky the sun shone and it was a glorious day) however, there was a fan already in the room which was thoughtful enough. I would definitely return.

"Excellent stay for a short trip"
mschro_860683, 05 Juin 2017

Nice and clean room, bus stop vis-a-vis and tube station within a 5 minute walk. Friendly and helpful staff! Not too expensive for London, but you are not in the centre. Free Wifi was pretty good, we will come back!

"Convenient location, very average facilities"
Judith402, 02 Juin 2017

I stayed here on the main Finsbury Park drag (Seven Sisters Road) the night Arsenal won the FA cup, though that wasn't my reason for being there. Thank goodness I asked them to downgrade me to a room at the back, so the noise wasn't bad, but I think it would have been hard to sleep at the front. My room was small but clean and adequate; the breakfast was buffet style - again adequate but nothing special. It was fairly expensive, so not great value, but very convenient for an outing to the lovely independent Park Theatre at Finsbury Park (my reason for going - to share a celebration with friends there).

"Definite 4, better than a lot of BWs"
alanlid, 30 Mai 2017

We needed a place to stay one night near Finsbury Pk, in order to attend a wedding; this was well-located and provided fairly secure parking (£10 a night: reasonable). Room was ok and everything - wifi, shower - worked fine. Staff helpful, breakfast nothing great, but acceptable. Given rip-off London hotel prices, this was good value, better than a lot of BWs I've stayed in (can be something of a lottery), definitely worth a rating of 4 at least.

"Good Value Hotel"
SweetAppleLim, 24 Mai 2017

The hotel located opposite Finsbury Park. About 10 to 15 mins walk to Finsbury station & easy to travel around the city of London. The room is clean & comfortable. We parked our car at the hotel which costs £10/night. There is a nice cafe near the hotel, Park View Cafe. We enjoy our breakfast at the cafe.

"Pleasant staff but tatty accomodation"
mcgonagle, 17 Mai 2017

The hotel is in a good location and staff were very nice. The hotel was smaller than I expected, I'm not sure how many rooms but the bar/seating area was very small. Upon arrival we were told we had been upgraded from the room I booked to one of their apartments! Very nice gesture, excitedly followed the gentleman showing us round to the apartment building behind the hotel, unfortunately I was quite disappointed. There was a lot more space than just a hotel room, with a main bedroom, bathroom and what would normally be a kitchen/lounge, however the lounge was more like a twin room leading to a kitchen with a sofa awkwardly placed between the two areas. After an initial glance, the whole apartment was just run down. Floors badly scuffed, bathroom tiles cracked, furniture veneer peeling (very badly) bed side lamp broken. We only needed somewhere to sleep for the night so it did the job but I don't think we will stay again. If you are looking for a cheap apartment this might work for you but I will point out that although it had a washing machine, fridge/freezer (which was not looked after, it was caked in ice) a microwave and an oven, it had absolutely no way being able to use these to cook anything as there was no crockery, cutlery, pots, pans or anything aside from the normal tea and coffee making bits. But they did leave washing up liquid and a sponge to wash up the invisible plates!

"Good value hotel"
browndogGateshead, 15 Mai 2017

Good value hotel for london, close to Finsbury Park station with easy access to all of central London. The staff very all very pleasant and helpful. The room was a bit on the small side and only had a shower (no bath), but there were biscuits to have with your tea or coffee. Breakfast was OK for the price. But it was the smiling helpful staff that made the hotel for me.

"Disappointing"
Stuart J, 11 Mai 2017

This hotel is part of the best western hotel franchise. I'm a Diamond select member, so spend quite a bit of money. I asked for a room with a view of the park....told I had to pay £20 for the upgrade. On ground floor need to stand on the bed if I want to see the park. However when office manager found out about this she was very sorry and upgraded me to a very nice room. Apparently the member of staff that checked me in was a trainee! The hotel was very clean, staff polite....breakfast OK....but I ended up paying £100 for the night with hassle and not really good value for money. I would not go back there again. Stuart Jarvis

"Mini break "
John B, 05 Mai 2017

Stayed for two nights at the best Western highbury and had a great time. Located opposite Finsbury park and a 10 stroll from the nearest tube ( Finsbury park). We found the hotel spotlessly clean and all staff were very friendly our room (414) was of a decent size with a great shower. Breakfast was excellent with a decent choice would recommend this hotel as a base for London sightseeing

"Ok for a short stay but quite basic"
JohnDaniell, 28 Avril 2017

I stayed here for two nights on business. The car park was easy to locate and there were ample spaces. As a diamond member I expected some kind of welcome gift in the room but did not get one which was disappointing. The room was a quiet room overlooking the car park. It was basically equipped. The biscuits were not replaced on day two. Breakfast was included in my rate. The breakfast room resembles a canteen but was adequate.

"Two nights stay"
Kfit2go, 27 Avril 2017

Room cold - no extra blankets available as housekeeping were gone for the day??!! Breakfast less than mediocre.... dried up bacon, plastic looking scrambled egg. No whole milk - why? No gluten free option for toast- why? Only low fat yoghurt - why? And then see it is £10 per person after being told £7 when we checked in. All in all really unsatisfactory. Will not be back....

"Taking teens to a concert"
juliewO1734RJ, 22 Avril 2017

Noise levels from outside were high, especially early morning. Loud music and men shouting in car park area from 6am. Front of hotel and reception looked lovely, but staircase, carpets and iron banister were grubby and worn. Room was very small for 3 people, really cramped.

"Trip to London"
sarahlondontrip, 10 Avril 2017

We stayed in this hotel when we visited for my daughters birthday in April. The hotel is in a good location in between 2 tube stations which are only a 10-15 minute walk. The rooms are fairly spacious and clean. Breakfast was ok with enough to eat to see you until lunch time. Would have liked a fried egg though. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone on a short break to London.

"Great location for Arsenal FC and tube / bus transport"
James K, 07 Avril 2017

Really nice place to stay. Great location 5 min walk from Finsbury Park station. Lovely staff. Great value for money. Really comfortable bed. Clean room and lovely chocolates on the bed on arrival. I'd stay again

"Sleepless due to road traffic"
mycdt, 05 Avril 2017

Although i have requested in my reservation a quiet room, received main street option and free earplugs (for real). Room is quite ok and tipycal BW, bathroom looked newly renovated, but minimal space available.

"Great location"
Robert G, 28 Mars 2017

Very good value for London. A really good position opposite the park and not too far from the tube. Great to be able to park the car on site and use in the day without fear of loosing your place. Will definitely stay again.

"Noisy cleaners. You can't get normal sleep in the early morning until 11am."
Dilyana K, 11 Mars 2017

Forget about normal or undisturbed sleep between 7:30am-11am.The cleaners are talking so laudly and make so much noise with the cleaning, or talking on their mobiles, or talking between each other, that you will be definitely waked up early and get out of the bed angry.

"helpful friendly professional "
littlechrissi k, 25 Novembre 2016

llecia was both friendly professional and helpful when dealing with Steve saunders booking change and would highly recommend this hotel staff rooms managers all fabulous had to make a couple of changes to booking nothing was too much trouble

"Good for one night"
Ismail E, 22 Novembre 2016

Very well located, opposite side of Finsbury Park, excellent linked with public transport. Clean and quiet specially if you ask for a quiet room on the opposite side of the road. Although the room is very small even for single, it is clean, cozy and in a way also comfortable. Breakfast is average, serving main dishes for "English breakfast", but I must say the sausages were horrible. Friendly staff.

"Great hotel, Lovely staff!"
11sue, 01 Novembre 2016

Have just returned from a six night stay over half term. Absolutely love this hotel-have tried a few others in London, but this is definitely our hotel of choice. Friendly, helpful staff who are always welcoming and accommodating. In particular. the Reception staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. Rooms are clean and well presented with lovely comfortable beds, and housekeeping maintain high standards throughout. We always request a quiet room as we are light sleepers. Hotel overlooks Finsbury Park and is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and tube stations Always enjoy our stay here and highly recommend!

"One night stay"
johnhc339, 24 Octobre 2016

Excellent location overlooking Finsbury Park and convenient for public transport links. Very friendly and helpful staff, decent size ensuite bedroom, but only a shower, no bath, good value (£7) full English breakfast. Off street car parking was excellent and only £10 for 24 hrs! A real bargain compared to most London hotels. If we needed another stay in this part of London we would definitely stay again.

"Comfortable and friendly "
BMM47_11, 22 Octobre 2016

Stayed here when visiting my son the room was comfortable the staff were friendly, my only criticism was the the croissants and pastries were very stale and the same ones were there for the two days we were there. The hotel is convenient for the tube especially if you don't know London very well just straight down the road about a quarter of a mile.

"Fine hotel"
John C, 21 Octobre 2016

A friendly hotel convenient to tube station and bus links.Rooms clean and fresh.Off street parking useful if you need it. Only stayed the one night but would consider for next visit to this part of London.

"Conveiently placed for tube & bus - with parking."
X-Mum, 15 Octobre 2016

Room was only small but only there to sleep, Nice & clean but towels need renewing. Breakfast was ok but think its the same everyday so may get boring if there for more than a couple of days. Opposite Finsbury Park which is pleasant. Walking distance to Manor House tube & bus stop right outside for other destinations. Handy having parking.

"Business trip"
Stefano T, 06 Octobre 2016

Not bad the the hotel, I did not liked some much the position. Staff was not really prepared and should be schooled better. Room is ok but right on top of the tube rooms.is shaking. Room has no mini bar but offers tea and coffee

"Good hotel in a convenient location"
Fiona H, 03 Octobre 2016

We chose the hotel for the location, as it was near a party we were going to and were very happy with our choice. The room was small, but that isn't unusual in London and it was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and it had a decent amount of parking. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you were visiting this area.

"Recent Stay"
rachael313, 02 Octobre 2016

The Best Western hotel in London Highbury is quite close to two tube stations Manor House and Finsbury Park. Great transport links from Gatwick Airport. Receptionists are excellent very welcoming, attentive and helpful, great customer service. Nothing we asked of them was any trouble. We had booked a room for four adults and a child and we were given an apartment which was fab. The breakfast was good and had a range of hot and cold foods plenty of choice. Short walk to shops, pubs and eateries. The receptionist even stored our luggage for us at the hotel after we had checked out if apartment and we went on a bus tour and went back collected our bags that evening and headed to airport as we had a late flight back. Would definitely come back to stay here.

"Very pleasant hotel. Well connected for a visit to London"
Paul D, 29 Septembre 2016

I would recommend this hotel warmly for either business or leisure travel. Staff are pleasant and helpful without exception and Peter the manager is always on hand or available on the phone. Rooms are clean and well cared for. Breakfast is great value and offers a wide range of continental and English ranges always kept stocked and freshly prepared available in piping hot Bain Marie's. Big plus also is on site parking at rear of hotel. Now into my 15th stay so I guess that says it all. 1 minute to buses and 5 minutes to Finsbury Park tube station. One downside is slow internet but at least it's free

"Cold English breakfasts"
mdh240, 27 Septembre 2016

Staff are pleasent and friendly. We stayed for 2 nights, the self serve precooked breakfast was unfortunately cold on the first morning, we commented to make staff aware, second morning a little warm but cold food by the time you plated and seated. The hot food tasted old and we left most of it and turned to continental instead, croissant and pastries were hard & dry and seemed as if from previous day..just avoid the breakfast unless you want toast or cereals. The room satisfactory but a little noisy as guest come in in the evening, you can hear conversations in the next room sometimes, very small TV was a let down, shower very powerful and hot. Parking was good and the Hotel was easy to find. The local area has lots of shops and restaurants, & underground within 5 mins walk, be aware there are of groups of men congrating on streets during evenings which was concerning for my wife. We would stay again but avoid the breakfasts entirely.

"Small - compact but very comfortable"
Dave V, 27 Septembre 2016

The hotel is quite small with tight areas especially limited in space in the bedrooms, but what it lacks in space it makes up for in service, comfort and warmth. My room was on the ground floor and so was easy to access - the front desk staff were so very helpful and a pleasure to meet. The bedroom was very well decorated and a lovely comfy bed too.

"Excellent Hotel"
tannoy, 26 Septembre 2016

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and adequate and the breakfast is much improved since we were last there now that there is a full English. The location is just right for us and is also within easy reach of central London

"Excellent stay"
397rita, 24 Septembre 2016

The staff were all wonderful and helpful. The room was very comfortable. It was also great to have parking. it has become the first choice of hotel if I am travelling to London. It is great venue to travel to central London

"Overnight stop in north london"
alfie08, 23 Septembre 2016

We were looking for an overnight stop in north London with car parking to take stuff done to daughter recently moved to near Holloway Road . Great find opposite Finsbury Park safe parking very clean and friendly great shower . Bar available good wifi. Room small but only sleeping in it . Would go back as really good value

"Would like to stay again."
Paul T, 18 Septembre 2016

Our two night stay was very pleasant and the staff were very attentive with a good hearty breakfast. Hotel car park was essential for us while we attended a wedding. Finsbury Park provides a tranquil setting with a pedestrian crossing link to the Best Western and not far from underground stations.

"Ok if visiting nearby "
mendip_7, 14 Septembre 2016

This hotel was handy for visiting family. Good points : We were given an apartment at the back instead of the twin room we had booked, so plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Clean and decent bathroom. Less good was the lack of a kettle, though this was sorted out fairly quickly. Needs a little maintenance as some tiles slightly cracked and one bedside light did not work as there is nowhere to plug it in. Breakfast was not very good, poor quality sausage etc. So overall I wouldn't rush back but it's not bad if you want to stay in this area. Bring earplugs if road noise is an issue.

"Friendly staff comfortable "
Walkercastelow, 10 Septembre 2016

Stayed for one night .great location for Emirates stadium. Stayed in one of the flats great as have teenage children and they could have their own space. Flats are comfortable and clean . The staff make this hotel they are extremely friendly nothing is too much trouble.was able to check in early and leave the car in the car park the next day for a couple of hours after we had checked out. This is our second stay here. Had a problem with the tv and it was fixed straight away.will stay again.we didn't have breakfast.

"Great location"
User, 06 Septembre 2016

We stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding, the location is great and easy to find. The rooms are clean only thing there was no air con, breakfast is charged as an extra £7.50 for full English or £5.50 for continental highly recommended if you want somewhere central

"Good Location With reservations"
KevM16, 02 Septembre 2016

Stayed for two nights in August for my wife's nieces wedding. The location is excellent overlooking Finsbury Park and situated between 2 tube stations with easy access into Central London. There is parking on site which at £20 for two nights was inexpensive. Had booked a double room, but was actually given a Quad Room with a double and two single beds and it was actually an accessible room with a bathroom for a disabled person! However having seen the size of the double rooms this was actually a blessing has they are very small. The room tends to become extremely warm and claustrophobic though you can request and obtain a fan. As a previous reviewer mentioned there is a lot of noise in a morning which tends to be hotel staff created. There is a small bar upstairs which is adequate and reasonable priced though not as advertised in the hotel literature. Breakfast is ok but again not as advertised by the Hotel Manager. Overall as a base to explore London it is a great location and reasonably priced but nothing other than that.

"{ Great weekend back in my home town! for a Family wedding}"
sarahjstower, 30 Août 2016

just back home from a lovely weekend away for my cousins wedding. Lovely hotel, nice and clean.Apartment was lovely. nice friendly staff. would stay there again. its near everything, Shops, Pubs , near the tube, park across the road, all different places to eat.

"Convenience to central London"
Peter H, 29 Août 2016

I was visiting London to meet up with my son who has just completed his LLM qualification and has a room in Crouch End. This hotel, chosen from the internet was convenient and advertised an on site car park. I was pleasantly surprised that the car park was as advertised and that the hotel was very pleasant. My stay was enhanced by courteous and helpful staff.

"Great little hotel"
timfQ5629IR, 28 Août 2016

Great value small hotel only 20 mins from city or west end by tube. Friendly, helpful staff - clean and comfortable rooms with good showers - all you need for a couple of nights stay in London. Decent breakfast available and pleasant location right opposite Finsbury Park. Have stayed twice now and will definitely be back!

"Very good"
Laura B, 14 Août 2016

This hotel was perfectly situated for us to visit family in Finsbury Park. It is opposite the park, which we walked around for the first time. Rooms were well appointed, and it was very convenient for the tube into central London.

"Friendly hotel, spotlessly clean, good price and near tube"
curly47, 03 Août 2016

My husband and I had booked a double room at a very reasonable price, however they upgraded us to a superior room since it was available, for the same amount late on a Sunday evening; it was not very big but fine. The hotel was spotlessly clean and had everything needed, white towels, coffee and biscuits etc. Altogether a nice experience; a happy family was celebrating a child's birthday with a cake in the foyer, we were invited to join them if we had wanted to. Council rubbish collection was a bit noisy early morning as the hotel is on a main road. Definitely will be a stop for me, since I have daughters nearby.

"Pleasant hotel"
afe410, 24 Juillet 2016

My room at the back of the hotel was comfortable and clean and great for a short stay. It was compact but great for solo traveller. The weather was hot and a fan was provided. The windows opened but the area is noisy and it is impossible to shut out all noise. Breakfast was very good value for money with a wide choice of continental and traditional fare. The bar area is light and airy and service friendly. Car parking was available.

"Surprisingly good"
password65, 20 Juillet 2016

I visited with a colleague for business, chosen booked for us by the company. Very friendly and helpful receptionist who noticed a problem with our bookings that could have caused overcharging and took the trouble to seek clarification and sort this out. My room was a triple with double and single bed. Whilst not big because of the extra bed, still a good size for London. My colleague was upgraded to a suite in an annex which gave her a huge triple room plus a double room. Helpful receptionist helped us find our way around when looking for something to eat. Downside of the hotel is location is not case to eating places. We ended up in a wonderful pub called the Finsbury within walking distance, but we're also offered takeaway menus by the receptionist as well. Small breakfast room with good selection of continental elements, but poor quality cooked items.

"Noisy and should not advertise soi called "Cooked English Breakfast""
rovingdoctor, 18 Juillet 2016

Main issue was noise, which was due in part to the Hotel staff themselves. They should NOT advertise the breakfast as a "Full Cooked English Breakfast" - sorry but a bit of toast and some dried out scrambled egg from a pot does not qualify -- there was no apparent offer to actually cook anything at all - it would be fine if cheap, but at £20 for two people for a bit of toast and a few spoon of warm scrambled egg we felt more than a little ripped off. Far better to save your money and walk to a cafe around the corner where £20 will buy a fair bit.

"Very very noisy"
Aubrey B, 15 Juillet 2016

Lots of noise. Some traffic, but more importantly massive noise from a party and also the hotel itself (room above breakfast area and we had a blaring breakfast TV wake us at about 7am. Hotel staff at check-out disinterested. I had to present in court a frew hours later after a bad night of sleep. I wonder how long hotels can continue charging high rates for really not such great places in the new age of AirBnB

"compact & Clean"
Doreen252, 12 Juillet 2016

This Hotel is situated on very busy main road, and we happened to choose a night when there was a music event going on in the park across the road, thankfully due to a combination of tiredness and comfortable room slept like a log. Our room was in the basement adjacent to the main road so if 24/7 traffic bothers you ask for a room at the rear , that aside you will be hard pushed to find a better compact Hotel in this area, by the way they have a car park (additional charge) essential if you are driving.

"Reasonably priced hotel."
David G, 04 Juillet 2016

This hotel is handy if you have a car as there is parking for £10 a day. It is on a good bus route, straight to King's Cross. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is very average however. It's clean and good value for London.

"Fantastic staff, comfortable room"
LuLuCotswoldsUK, 26 Juin 2016

We stayed for two nights fo a wedding. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was in the new wing out the back, it was very comfortable, there was a fan which did keep the room cooler as it was very warm. Excellent shower Loved the complimentary bottles of water. Good breakfast plenty of choice.

"Comfortable and affordable "
Okiejeeping, 17 Juin 2016

A good value, and if you don't mind a ten minute walk to the Tube--with access to all of London-- a nice choice (money wise) when it comes to London hotels. We stayed in a large apartment in the back. It was very quiet and peaceful (despite the busy Seven Sisters Road out front). Housekeeping is very good--coffee and soap and towels all fully renewed every day. Be careful with kids and the hot water. It is very, very hot! Bottom line: good value.

"Weekend visit"
Mark H, 14 Juin 2016

Stayed at the rear,2nd floor. Small double room but very clean with good shower facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Never ate in the hotel but looked clean And pleasant enough. The full hotel was overall clean and pleasant, if It's dirty or smells of damp etc,I'll walk, but this was an enjoyable stay, close to the tube station with good access to London. Safe cheap parking was a bonus.I thought the local area seemed fine and safe enough to walk the 5 minuits to the tube.

"Mr R Smith"
razr70, 13 Juin 2016

Excellent hotel , clean and modern , with staff who are friendly and courteous , wonderful location with Finsbury Park adjacent and a number of restaurants and places to eat nearby . This is a great base to explore London . Will definitely return .

"One night stay... Comfortable "
jamescrane, 09 Juin 2016

Stayed here for one evening. Got a good price for London so was happy with that. Location is on a busy road and u know it will get busy when ear plugs are provided next to the bed. My room was on 2nd floor and had a double and single bed in. Small toilet and shower with gels included in shower. Room had a hairdryer and a fan... Took faced Finsbury Park, great view but sum beating in made it quite hot so fan was a blessing. Also had a free safe which was large enough for my laptop and iPad etc. I was able to get an iron and ironing board from reception into the lift with no issues. Breakfast was limited but fresh which was self service. Overall small hotel but comfortable for short stays.

"Not a good stay."
kration, 02 Juin 2016

I was visiting on business so I was in a single room at the rear. My initial impression of the room was poor as it had a strong smell of vinegar - or stale wine, as if a previous occupant had spilled a glass over the carpet. The room generally felt grubby with stains on the carpet. The bathroom was spotless though. As a business traveller there wasn't a desk to work at. The space was full of the hotel phone, cables etc. Just generally cluttered. The bed wasn't that comfortable and the sheets slipped off to expose the mattress (a pet hate of mine). There was banging from the door to the stairs to the upper floors that kept waking me up. The remote for the TV didn't work, even after changing the batteries with the help of the receptionist. A minor point, but still annoying. The cooked breakfast was a bit half hearted. Grey scrambled eggs, cheap sausages, beans and boiled unappetising mushrooms. The cold/cereal/bread selection was very good though. I don't want to be too negative. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is in a good location and is reasonably priced. The breakfast is OK. But, I would not stay here again.

"Very small and noisey, but clean"
HuegoJ, 01 Juin 2016

This is a nice hotel, friendly staff and you can use a computer and printer to print, -that was nice, however this hotel is on a busy road way, where cars are constantly going... my advice is to take a room on the 3 or fourth floor.. I was on the sec floor and had to move my room because it was so noisy... this hotel has a great selection of breakfast. Again, beware that if you stay in a single room... it will be extremely SMALL.

"Good value"
emily2709, 01 Juin 2016

This is a good value hotel with quality accommodation and partially modern decoration. The rooms are comfortable and an ok size with all of the usual amenities. The hotel is opposite Finsbury Park, which our room overlooked. The surrounding area is a little rough looking and I wouldn't have been happy walking around it on my own. It is close to a tube station and it is worth having an Oyster card, which substantially reduces the cost of getting into Central London. The cost of staying at this hotel compares favourably to others in this location for the quality of accommodation and to others in terms of the distance from Central London.

"Stayed for 02 visit"
determinationispower, 22 Mai 2016

Good destination, A bit old fashioned, OK for a one night stay for Convenience but definately nothing luxary. Can hear everything from the room above also. A lot of flights of stairs, with a small stairwell definately would not advise for my elderly parts of the family

"Small but clean and quiet"
Phil B, 18 Mai 2016

Very good stay. Quiet hotel despite being in London on a main road. Small room but clean and had everything that you need. Service was good, would definitely stay again. Price was a lot cheaper than others that I've stayed in that are a similar distance from Central London.

"Well done team"
connietiene, 18 Mai 2016

I recently booked the meeting facilities at the Best Western London Highbury, ourselves and the client were very impressed with the facilities, tea, coffee, biscuits and water, will book again. Well done to Peter and the team.

"Upgraded to Apartment"
UnladenSwallow, 16 Mai 2016

We'd booked a quad room but were upgraded to an apartment on arrival. It's hard not to be happy with a hotel when they do something like that! The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. It's a short hop to King's Cross to St Pancras for Eurostar travellers. Bus stop is practically outside the door and Finsbury Park is across the road.

"SMALL ROOMS"
3reads, 11 Mai 2016

The size of the standard double room is only 7 feet wide which requires the bed to be hard against a wall, so it is impossible to get up in the night without disturbing your partner. Also the bathroom is very tiny, not sure how oversized Americans can cope with the facilities. The room is nicely decorated and very clean although there is no room for a wardrobe.

"Nice but expensive."
nahariyya, 01 Mai 2016

The room was good value for money. it was clean and the staff were helpful. However, it would have been nice had they included breakfast. The location was great, opposite a park and near bus and subway. Some nice restaurants and a great bakery down the road.

"A good hotel, best for business people or couples"
Richard902, 29 Avril 2016

Stayed a few nights with a group of teens, so we had booked a number of rooms. There were issues with beds - we had not expected that some of the teens would have to share beds and this was a turn off to them. Small rooms, but plenty of room for our luggage and to move around. Clean and comfortable beds. It's right on Seven Sisters Road, so you'd better expect to hear traffic. The park across the street was always full of walkers or joggers, so this would be a good place for those who need exercise but don't want to be on a busy thoroughfare. Breakfast was good, and the staff were always friendly and tried their best to help us. I would return on my own, but perhaps not with a large group. Easy walk to the tube.

"Very poor hotel"
Ian R, 29 Avril 2016

I travel a lot for business and this is the worst Best Western yet. The first room I was allocated and entered, was actually still being used by someone else. So I had a key to someone else's possessions. Upon informing reception I was then placed in the tiniest room possible. As a business user I had nowhere to work, apart from sitting on the bed with my laptop. There were no spare electric sockets, so I couldn't charge my electrics. The tiny, shower room had no heating, and to use the sink, the door had to be open (I am not large). The room was noisy and the curtains allowed so much streetlight in it was like bedtime with lights on..... The only positive was the wifi.

"It was what I expected from a hotel budget chain."
Janer P, 08 Avril 2016

Great location for the trip I had made to watch Arsenal play, 20 minute walk to the stadium and also close to tube and pubs and restauraunts. While the room was small that is expected for London and it was clean, bed was comfy too. A few niggly points were room cleaners starting way to early on a Sunday morning in the room across from me and the fire alarm going off 2 seperate times, wifi was hit and miss, no control over the central heating and the place misses a proper bar. I still feel though this hotel deserves a 4 out of 5 rating though.

"London hotel"
peter k, 31 Mars 2016

Lovely clean hotel. Very convenient for public transport for central London. Helpful and pleasant staff. The continental breakfast well stocked with great choice. And loads of hot water for showers. Plus unlimited WIFI. I don't think anyone staying there would be disappointed.

"THIS IS AN EXCELLENT STOP OVER POINT FOR EUROSTAR TRAVELLERS"
Penny G, 27 Mars 2016

The best Western Highbury is a really useful hotel to know about if you need somewhere to stay overnight before catching an early Euirostar. We have used it several times in recent years - as an hotel it is welcoming and perfectly well equipped - tea and coffee in the rooms and the usual toiletries etc. The beds are particularly comfortable, but more importantly - the hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Finsbury Park Station, from which it is 2 stops, or about 5 mins straight into Kings Cross/St Pancras and the Eurostar terminus. Overall - about a 25 minute journey from door to door at the worst of times and quicker on e.g a Saturday or Sunday.

"Small rooms Noise from road makes sleep difficult"
mjm814, 21 Mars 2016

We stayed there with a tour group of 34 college students from the US. The breakfast was good. Wake up calls were missed. Rooms are very small. There is plenty of hot water and the bed is comfortable. The noise from Seven Sisters Road makes sleep difficult if you are light sleeper. Ask for a room on the back. A female member of our group went into a restaurant alone in the neighborhood and was told she did not belong there by patrons in the restaurant. Those working there said she was welcome. She left without incident.

"Keep booking"
Andrew L, 18 Mars 2016

Very good hotel, which is very reasonably priced and readily accessible when travelling from the North of England by train, providing easy access to all areas of work in and around London. Quite rooms to the rear enable a good night sleep for a light sleeper.

"Good customer service"
tamang977, 16 Mars 2016

We came to visit Arsenal stadium and stayed here. The room was way too small in compared to what was promised when booked but the customer service was great, Angie customer assistant was really helpful. The room was clean and cozy. Please do not make busy or full as an excuse to change room size. However, no reluctance to book this hotel again in future.

"Does what it says on the tin"
mrcooljanny, 14 Mars 2016

Just stayed at the best western, close to tube, check was friendly the guy helpful. I was here on business. This is a budget hotel, the bedroom was a decent size, you could easily walk around the bed! Little chocolate and biscuits in room, tea and coffee making facilities! Bathroom had a nice shower and was functional. The only downside I got there about 8.30, there is no restaurant in the hotel, it's small 45 room hotel, nearest eateries KFC and subway, being a female I did not want to walk around on my own. Although the hotel had takeaway menus, primarily pizz and Indian, however I did find salads and pasta on one menu, the hotel helpfully gave me a plate and knife and fork. Plenty of choice at breakfast, my pet hate cheap chewy bread for toast!

"Nice very well kept hotel, 500 meters from tube"
Catherine B, 09 Mars 2016

Again at the hotel where I stayed at Xmas time. we got a quadruple room for both of us, outstandingly clean and quiet (ask for a backside room). The rooms on the side of the avenue are also very nice, but I did not test if they can technically be as quiet. The outside appearance is really nice : old London houses, beautifully painted in white.. I love that style. Price was not so exceptionnal as for Xmas, but still very good value (110 £ per night, including breakfast, with direct booking on BW site). If you are heavily loaded and take the tube (Finsbury Park with Piccadilly and Victoria Lines stopping, direct access to city center) : better take a taxi, as there is no lift to get out of the tube (there is of course a lift in the hotel, but if you are hindered, tell them ahead, so that they can give you a room near the hotel lift). But if you can carry your luggage, the hotel is very well located as the tube lines brings you directly to Heathrow (plane) or St Pancrace (train). As the hotel is already considered to be slightly excentred, the price quality relation is very good for what you get : beautiful large rooms that you get normally only in expansive hôtels. For breakfast, you get nice fresh products on a buffet. The quadruple room (we got it for my husband and me, as it was available) is OK for a family. The bathroom may be a bit cramped for four persons, as you can be one person at a time in it. But it is outstandingly clean (very important for me).

"A great place to stay"
Ken S, 07 Mars 2016

We found this hotel was very clean and tidy the food was good but the staff were the best of all after a long run from Devon it was so pleasing to see such happy faces to great you and the way that they conducted the booking in was carried out with care and thoughtfulness it was like meeting and old friend or relative so warming. Thanks again to them they made our stay the best part of our break away.

"Great Stay"
mar m, 28 Février 2016

I only stayed the one night but it was a great stay, the bed was super comfortable and had a good nights sleep. No road noise even though the room overlooked the main road, the room was very clean and a nice layout. I would stay here again. The only downside was the very small car park and the fact it was full - i parked in the quiet side street for a fiver over the weekend. The wifi was fast - all in all a great place to stay.

"Business Trip"
PaulFJSmith, 25 Février 2016

Stayed while attending an award ceremony in London , It did the job . Very small bar area (reception basically had optics and a fridge behind it ) but staff were friendly and the rooms were a decent size.

"Nice little hotel"
Chris W, 13 Février 2016

Stayed for 1 night as I was attend a course in Tottenham Hale so ideal location, close to tube. The hotel has a bar but no restaurant however does a nice breakfast, check in was good and staff very friendly. The rooms are ok for the money and comfortable.

"Lovely Stay"
Julie P, 11 Février 2016

Lovely stay at this hotel, great staff, nothing to much trouble, room very clean and comfortable. Lovely cooked breakfast and pastries, cereal, toast and more. Easy bus ride on the 29 into central London or hop off before last stop at Trafalgar square for theatres. Bus stop right outside hotel. Overnight parking £10 great, just park up and go exploring. Excellent value for money. Well done Best Western cant wait to come back xx

"Bere again"
paolo m, 10 Février 2016

I cane back and i can confirm all the good notes about friendly and efficient staff, very good and comfortable rooms (remind to ask for rooms on the parking side, because those on the front are noisly, due to road traffic. But, surprise: one more positive news, it's now available cooked breakfast in the morning, so one more reason to come bere!

"Weekend Break"
kandj_higgin, 05 Février 2016

Our room was clean and comfortable. Some unavoidable noise from the main road, but not sufficient to stop us sleeping. There was a very adequate choice at breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Car park was small and I thought £10.00 per night expensive.

"Comfortable stay"
lovingthesunshine, 31 Janvier 2016

We stayed here as our sons band were playing at a venue close by. The rooms and hotel are clean and rooms comfortable . The staff are so friendly and nothing is any bother for them so thank you so much . We would definitely stay again and revoke s this hotel .

"Just enough to survive"
saponifier, 25 Janvier 2016

we chose this hotel because of its location. There is nothing fancy about it (well, that's best Western) and nothing disastrous. Just enough for 1-2 nights. The cosy room is really cosy, even smaller than Parisian hotel rooms. Everything is old but not antique and there is a kind of stinking smell on floor (but fortunately not in the room). The room maid was rather clumsy and non-attentive but the reception staff and breakfast ladies were nice. The breakfast room is even older than the hotel itself, old, old fashioned and that disgusting stink on the staircase to the breakfast room. Nothing fancy about the breakfast, just a little bit of everything. Not quite disappointing (you get what you pay for) but certainly not convenient for a long stay nor for a leisure stay. We just used bed and breakfast and where on the conference the whole day, otherwise it could be intolerable.

"Good for the money!"
michaelh497, 13 Janvier 2016

I stayed here overnight for a course whilst in London and it was decent! The price was very cheap especially for London! The nearest tube stop is Manor House (which straddles Zones 2 & 3) and the hotel itself is opposite Finsbury Park. At Check-in, I was given the incorrect room (although it was a computer error, rather than human error!) but the lady behind the desk fixed it quickly and it did not impact on my stay at all. The room itself is very small, but with all the amenities you'd expect - tea & coffee facilities, shower, bathroom etc - but with the small size of the room, it does feel very cramped, especially if you're a couple! Also, if your room faces the Seven Sisters Road, there will be a lot of noise as it's a very busy road! Breakfast was available onsite - continental was free, but it was £10 each if you wanted cooked breakfast - the selection seemed to be plentiful, although as I got there a bit late, there wasn't a huge amount left! Check-out was very smooth. All-in-all, a good choice if you're looking for a cheap hotel that has all that you need, despite my slight gripes!

"Nice and clean room, excellent service"
itgirl301, 13 Janvier 2016

Stayed for 2 nights in a triple room, with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. We arrived at night and check in was smooth. There is a resident parking just around the back of the hotel, and access to rooms are very easy as we got a room on the ground floor (not much view, underground terrace outside our windows but that's fine with us. we did not request for a specific room). I really love the classic look of the hotel, very well kept inside and out. The toilet and shower are clean and soap is provided. Other basic amenities can be requested at reception. The Manor House tube station is just about 5 minutes walk from the hotel and there are some shops near the station. The halal kebab takeout we went there has some really good mixed doner and fish and chips in generous servings. Among other things that I love here, I really have to highlight their excellent service during our short stay. We needed to leave some baggage before our trip to Paris via Eurostar. After googling our options for storage at St.Pancras, we decided to try our luck asking the hotel if they have luggage storage service instead. And to our delight they allowed some of our baggage to be stored here without any charges (even though we were not staying there after we got back from Paris)! With quite a small space of storage, I really appreciate that they did not charge anything for that and were very welcoming about it all. This is one of my best memories staying in a hotel and i highly recommend if anyone chooses to stay here! p.s. There's chocolates on the bed during check in; little things that make people happy:)

"Perfect. Friendliest hotel I've ever stayed in."
pentlandfield, 12 Janvier 2016

Everything perfect. Probably the friendliest hotel I've ever stayed in. For the price and the location in London, it is perfect. The staff are wonderful, helpful and pleasant. Would happily stay here again.

"Excellent value, great staff."
Geoff B, 08 Janvier 2016

Very clean, relatively quiet, small but perfectly adequate rooms, comfy beds, extensive buffet breakfast. Extremely nice, kind and helpful staff. Frequent buses to and from Central London depart and arrive nearby. Spot-on for value........................................

"an outstanding price/quality deal for Christmas"
Catherine B, 29 Décembre 2015

The hotel is extremely clean inside, looks very well kept from the outside (a set of traditional London houses). We got an outstanding deal for Christmas ; I would recommend it strongly for families (many triple rooms). As I understood the policy, this deal is not only on Christmas. Although it seems to be a little bit outside, the tube is about 8 to 10 minutes by foot (Finsbury), walking normally. Even if the neighbourhood near the tube is not so inspiring, it is OK if you are with two (or even three female persons). With the tube ( located in zone 2), you have a direct connection with St Pancrace, Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Circus, Knightsbridge (for Harrods !) and many other places of interest. So I would strongly recommend the hotel if you look for a good place to rest (the beds are a dream) for an affordable price in London. There is a good parking area too (but we did not use it). If you come by train from St Pancrace, the taxi will cost between 13 and 15 £ (we were 3 persons with 3 very big pièces of luggage, and were charged in total 14 £ at 8 pm). Our daughter did not stay with us overnight. There is a good buffet breakfast in the morning in a pleasant room with bright natural light and lovely service. So : in conclusion : a very good choice. Would recommend and come back on a next occasion.

"Convenient and Clean"
Antoinette S, 23 Décembre 2015

This property is in a very convenient location near to bus and underground transport . The hotel staff are very accommodating and the rooms comfortable. I would suggest you request a room in the back of the hotel as those in the front are subjected to the traffic noise on the street below. Worth the price.

"Highly recommend it"
cmckay90, 22 Décembre 2015

Great time at the hotel. Really lovely and helpful staff. The room was very nice and breakfast was lovely. Finsbury Park right across the road. All for very reasonable price. Will definitely visit again.

"Very good and bad all in same hotel"
WidcombeWanderer, 21 Décembre 2015

Good location on Seven Sister's Road, North London, just about three minutes walk from Mansion House tube station on Picadilly line. Hotel has a car park with a reasonable charge (£10 per night) but book early as limited spaces. Hotel clean and rooms okay with everything you need - hair drier, safe, hanging space, en-suite bathroom etc. We stayed in room 306 at front of hotel. You need a room at the back of the hotel if you can get it. The beds were not at all comfortable and room was very hot. Double glazing not very effective as traffic noise kept us awake. If we had opened the window to let in some cool air the noise would have been deafening. Breakfast was excellent with plentiful buffet. Bed & breakfast for two people was £70 which is very reasonable for London. Would stay again but with a room at the back.

"Clean and tidy"
Rabs1961, 21 Décembre 2015

Lovely place. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a couple of nights in London. Secure parking at the back of the hotel which costs £10

"Great value"
JHB13, 17 Décembre 2015

Spent 2 nights here while visiting family. The hotel looked really nice on arrival and inside was even better. The receptionist was very pleasant even though we arrived very late at night. The room was nicely decorated and clean and tidy. We couldn't get the tv to work initially but after mentioning it to reception it was sorted very quickly. Breakfast was really good value for the £10 charge with lots of choice. For the price we paid I would definitely stay here again. There is quite a lot of road noise if you are in one of the front rooms but it is London so should be expected

"ideal location"
Joan R, 17 Décembre 2015

Needed hotel in Highbury to visit relatives who lives either end of Seven Sisters Road. Stayed at several Best Western before so was happy to select this one. Check in was quick and efficient. Having on site parking was great and with only a modest charge. Room was very clean with 2 large beds and small bathroom but was acceptable for short stay. Breakfast was adequate with choice of hot and cold food. This room was a bit small but was seated immediately even though it was quite busy. Only stayed 1 night but was ideal for our needs and would recommend..

"Comfortable and great location"
Lionel L, 15 Décembre 2015

We stayed at this Hotel as it was close to our son's apartment. Comfortable, lovely location opposite Finsbury Park and adequate on site parking. Would definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit.

"Normal, comfortable, easy, no problems"
Seamus H, 13 Décembre 2015

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel, as some of the buildings nearby are run down; but this stretch of Seven Sisters Road (overlooking Finsbury Park) seems to be gradually being developed and revitalised. Room clean and comfortable. Quiet enough. Spacious breakfast room -- normal choice of food, not exceptional but perfectly OK. I'd stay again.

"My Stay at Best Western - Highbury"
Bindi P, 09 Décembre 2015

Extremely surprised with the quality of this hotel (room and service). Very close to the Manor House underground station (less than 5 minutes walk away). The room was cosy and comforatable. One of the best power shower experiences I have had given I stay in hotels quite abit due to business. The reception staff was helpful and professional. Overall a great experience. The only suggestion I would make is to make the walls a little sound proof. As I was based on the ground floor, I was exposed to the noise from the room above (walking etc).

"Great Hotel"
HW2006, 09 Décembre 2015

We stayed at the Best Western Highbury when we went to The Emirates to watch Arsenal. The hotel is only a 20 minute walk to the stadium & is very well located for public transport, restaurants, shops etc. We had a triple room, which looked like it had recently been refurbished & was clean & tidy, with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was a full English & was tasty & plentiful. There is parking on site, which was £10 for 24 hours, which is very reasonable for London. The staff were fantastic, very efficient & helpful, especially Alina, who helped us out no end when we realised we had left something behind in our room. She immediately located it & and posted it out to us the same day. Can't thank her enough.

"Fantastic front desk staff"
PhysioUK, 02 Décembre 2015

We had a couple of rooms booked here last week and there was a mix up with one of the rooms however, the staff, especially Alina, were absolutely brilliant,. She sorted it out and was so attentive. Many many thanks. Fanstastic service.

"Great Location"
el0us, 27 Novembre 2015

-Perfectly located hotel: 7 minutes away from Finsbury Park Station and the park in front is great for a morning jogging. -Staff: Very helpful -The room: Big enough with lots of seating available. -Breakfast: Good with plenty options.

"Please don't waste your money"
Jackie W, 26 Novembre 2015

This hotel looks OK from the exterior with painted railings, befitting the area. However, as you approach the interior, it feels like a very cheap hotel, with dirty leather sofas in the reception, a bar/come checking in area, which is tiny; narrow corridors and bedrooms so close together you can hear every single movement. As a single business woman, I need to feel safe. The mattress was full of lumps and thin. I felt completely the opposite and couldn't wait to leave in the morning, choosing to only briefly visit the breakfast room, offered instant coffee, shortbread biscuits and burnt toast. I paid full London rates, for a room that was OK - it was clean, but thats as far as the positives are concerned. Seriously, do something prompt to change this tired and unsafe place

"Good value for money hotel"
Mrs B, 24 Novembre 2015

As expected, my room was small but cozy, quiet and clean so I have no complaints. The staff were courteous and accommodating specially the nice Albanian lady whose name slipped my mind. Conveniently located across the Finsbury Park, bus stops and Finsbury tube station. Lots of restos around as well.

"Appalling Customer Service"
naomi k, 23 Novembre 2015

I recently booked for an employee to stay at this hotel via booking.com. The hotel was paid for in advance, booked in his name as the guest. When he turned up they advised there was no booking. He then had to pay extra for an additional room. In the morning we received a 'no show' email from booking.com to say they hotel advised he never turned up. After contacting the hotel they said he turned up after midnight and therefore it is the following day. They then changed their story to 'he couldnt provide a name for the booking' and again they finally decided their story was 'he could not provide the credit card'. Our engineer has a receipt from the hotel when he checked in at 21:23, he was also never asked to provide the credit card and he provided his name, the company and my name for the booking. The hotel staff were extremely rude, unhelpful and refused to put me through to the manager. They told me I was lying and they would not give any refund as no one turned up at the hotel. I am shocked at the way they handled this and would expect a lot more from a Best Western. We would never book with this chain again and i would advise anyone thinking about it to reconsider. It seems to me like they are just after more money!!!!! A truly appalling experience.

"Friendly hotel, good for a London trip base"
daverT3749MN, 23 Novembre 2015

We stayed there as convenient for a trip to London. Helpful staff and a decent breakfast. Shame about having to pay extra for parking, £10 / day. We had a room at the back of the main building and noise wasn't a problem. Might be different overlooking Seven Sisters Road.

"excellent value"

my son and I stayed here overnight before his audition at one of the universities. It was very close to the tube station. Rooms were what I would expect and I was surprised at the full English as usually it is only continental breakfast you get. overall experience excellent

"One night in north London "

Arrived late about 9pm out triple room was upgraded to a family room reception very helpful room tidy zero complaints parking was £10 a night but it's impossible to park anywhere in London so ride the buzz I never used the wifi so can't comment on that all in all not a bad place for a stopover peace out A town

"A gem"

Lovely staff, cracking breakfast in a morning and a good nights sleep. We had a family room next door to the entrance from the car park, more than enough space for two adults and a boisterous toddler and quiet enough for us all to get a good nights sleep. Particular mention to the the lady that ran the breakfast room in the morning who greeted our son with genuine delight every day, and made breakfast time an utter pleasure.

"For the price I can't complain (too much)"

We stayed here as an overnight stay before travelling eurostar from St Pancras station. It is a 5 min walk from Finsbury Park Station which is served by the Victoria and Northern Lines to Kings Cross St Pancras. The hotel itself is clean and well kept with friendly staff but it is an old building and the lack of insulation means it can be noisy. For the price it's a pretty good deal for somewhere to crash for the night but if I wanted a base camp to explore from I'd probably pay a bit more for somewhere less 'budget'.

"Comfortable Stay for family of five."
rnincarolina, 07 Octobre 2015

The room was pretty comfortable for a family of five, we had the two bedroom apartment. This room had a kitchenette and that was handy. Easy walking distance to the tube and bus stops. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. Quite far from the city center although. My only complaint is the price was high for the room we stayed in; but that's London for you.

"Brilliant"

All aspects are brilliant. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. The situation of the hotel is perfect - lovely park opposite. Quiet rooms at the back and good parking. All in all a very good place to stay in central London. Good access to transport facilities.

"Finsbury Park"

My daughter and I stayed here for one night. We got an upgrade to a two bedroom apartment which was brilliant, it had a kitchen, dining table and lounging area. The staff were really nice and friendly. It was no bother for them to call for a taxi when asked. There was a good selection at breakfast. Easy walking distance from Finsbury Station and in general a nice area. I left my phone charger in the room and they have located it for me and I am getting it picked up. They were very helpful in checking for me. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was a reasonable all rounder. The room was clean, bed was comfy. Was a bit too stuffy through the night and didn't get a great deal of sleep even with the window open. I'm a country lass so not used to the city air so blaming that! Stayed in the back of the hotel, so wasn't too noisy as loads of traffic out front. Breakfast was fairly standard, Internet was fine. Would stay again. Your satnav might take you round the back of the hotel, type the street address in instead!

"Stayed here for Wireless festival"
Neil S, 29 Septembre 2015

Stayed here for two nights during Wireless. Was great as the hotel was just over the road and we were able to watch people walking trying to get lifts!! Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was your average continental. I would return.
