Best Western Plus Layton Park Hotel

Hotel was clean and smelled great! The front desk and staff were kind and the free breakfast was excellent with sausage, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and fruit etc. The room had a fridge and nice and coffee maker.

Overall stay was very pleasant! My first time visiting Utah and my first time staying with this brand. I was VERY pleasantly pleased with my experience and hope to receive consistent service with this brand during my future travels with my new job. This hotel was located in a very accessible area with loads of restaurants, AMC movie theater, a mall, Target, and access to the highway. The Utah scenery added such a beautiful touch. The cleanliness of the hotel grounds and facilities contributed to being able to appreciate my beautiful surroundings. The hotel lobby and guest room was dated in furniture and looks but this in no way took away from the efforts made by the staff in providing guests a clean, safe, and comfortable stay and experience. I loved the complimentary coffee bar at the front office; the pool area was clean and heated (which was terrific); the breakfast was tasty and offered varied options; I loved that I was able to open my window in my room; having a microwave and appropriate sized refrigerator was a huge plus; the public areas and guestroom hallways were clean and well maintained. If and when I return to SLC area I would definitely stay here again. Quiet Layton is but a short drive from SLC and has its own personality to appreciate. Do not leave Layton without eating at Weller's! The best German meal I have had. Red Fort Indian restaurant was also very tasty!

This was our second time we stayed here. We returned because we enjoyed our stay,, it was quiet and comfortable. It also made me feel safe.We are in our 70s and its important . Appreciated breakfast as there is a lot to choose from. The staff seems to have a great attitude and always available.

Pool is great and lots of fun things to do in the area as well as dining options cozy comfy bed mini fridge and microwave my kids were in heaven and I was able to rest and relax. Internet went out due to storm but was quick to restore and enjoy again

Stayed for a quick overnight and although it was generally clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly, I'm not sure how it earns the #1 spot on Tripadvisor in Layton given several shortcomings. The hotel is very old, but remodeled so it's somewhat updated, though still very much an older hotel at it's heart. I felt the room was dark, with dark furnishings and dim lighting. Electrical outlets were hidden behind the bed and dresser/console, so basically impossible to reach. There were AC outlets at the base of lamps, but they were impossible to plug a modern charging block into without propping the lamp up on something while charging a phone/laptop all night (I used a folded hand towel to give me the clearance my block needed). I don't recall seeing a USB charging port anywhere. Wifi was free and signal was adequate for my short stay. I never turned the TV on, which was at a 90-degree angle to the bed. The location is very close to I-15, so I suppose unless you get a room on the back side of the hotel, it is fairly noisy. Further, I requested a room on the top floor (to minimize noise from above), but ended up on the second floor directly across from the elevator and ice machine, so I had to run the AC fan the whole time for white noise which still wasn't able to obscure the ice machine or squealing kids in swimsuits running down the corridor to the elevator. Generally the room was clean and comfortable, though there was a used washcloth left in the tub, so not sure if housekeeping used it for cleaning, or overlooked it from the previous guest. While I didn't need it, there was only 1/4 roll of toilet paper left on the roll, and though it had been folded pretty, there wasn't any extra to speak of in the room. Who wants to call the front desk and ask them to run up a roll of toilet paper in a pinch!? Finally, I noticed the smoke alarm was in the closet, behind closed doors. No idea whether that's a safety hazard, but it caught my eye. I was up and away before Sunday breakfast opened at 6:30, so can't speak to that, nor did I really use any of the other amenities. Overall though, I felt it was generally clean and comfortable for my quick stay, but would probably look elsewhere for my next trip to Layton.

This hotel was clean, provided me with adequate towels and had plenty of breakfast options. The staff were polite. The bed was comfortable and clean. There was plenty of room to pull in my wagon and unload the stuff for my stay. I appreciate the small fridge and microwave as I was attending a con and mostly eating on the go.

We only stay at Best Westerns! And when in town to visit our military family, we choose this location because of its cleanliness, pool amenities, location to the base and great store and good options nearby! Plus the beds are super comfy. Also the AC is great and during our summer stay we were super comfortable! You won't be disappointed

Breakfast was awesome. Room very nice and comfortable. Staff very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Met our needs perfectly. Only 2 cons and I am totally stretching to get a con for this hotel. 1. Refrigerator in our room was turned down to 0 and we did not realize it, so we had some food spoil. 2. The table facing the elevator needs to be removed. It makes maneuvering the luggage carts difficult. Those are really the only 2 very minor complaints I could provide. Other than that, the stay was excellent. Will stay again and highly recommend to others.

Our room was very clean and comfortable… the pool and hot tub were very good, we also used the laundry which was very good. Breakfast had lots of choice…. Staff were very helpful and informative. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

We only stayed 1 night but it was perfect t for what we wanted / needed. There were so many more options to the breakfast than what is usually offered. The mini fridge had a freezer compartment which was very handy and the microwave was helpful for some late night snacks. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We also happy the room didn't feel muggy / humid like some hotels do. We stayed one night to break up our trip from Utah to Idaho. We had planned to go to the Aerospace museum which was not far at all from the hotel. Which helped make our travelling easy.

Had an extremely strong chemical smell in room. Contacted the front desk and the did nothing to help. Was supposed to stay 2 nights but left after one night and stayed at a different hotel. The smell cause both my wife and I headaches and felt hungover the next morning. The did knock off 20$ off the room, but didn't even offer to move to a different room due to the smell. They said that all the rooms had that smell and was normal

We enjoyed our two nights here last week. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. Our room was very spacious! The entire staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast setup is fantastic! The location is safe and convenient. We will stay here again on our next visit.

Clean rooms, SUPER comfortable bed, insanely good room air conditioning, and a decent if not simple breakfast. It doesn't have much, but what it does do, it does great. Stayed for 3 nights, slept like a brick.

The room was clean, the location convenient, and the staff nice enough. We didn't partake in the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The bed was extremely soft and the pillows were horrid; seriously, some of the worst ones we've ever slept on. I think they gave us the worst room in the place - 1st floor, next to the gym and pool, so ridiculously noisy, to the point where we couldn't sleep. The bathroom was ok, but a little dirty (hair all around the corners, etc) and the shower was definitely dated. The orientation of the room was really strange, and there was a random wet spot on the carpet - gross. We did use the hot tub, but not the pool. The water was cloudy and the crumbling concrete surrounding it was weird. I wouldn't have got in the pool, honestly, it looked gross. Luckily we were only there for one night, but we definitely wouldn't stay again, not with all of the other hotels nearby.

This hotel is extremely clean and well taken care of, the breakfast was above and beyond most hotels with so many options to customize your breakfast experience. The furniture in the rooms is very comfortable and plentiful as well.

This hotel was centrally located area, is in a safe area, the parking lot is well lit, clean rooms and bedding, smelled nice and clean, large room for working and relaxing, and my room window view was beautiful mountains. I have business next year in this area and will stay here again.

TV cable/ satellite didn't work. You can hear everything in the hall and everyone walking in the room above you. One employee was very very rude. The bathrooms are tiny. We would have stayed for breakfast but we just wanted to leave.

Always love staying here, breakfast is great as well. Staff is always friendly; pool is clean, and we enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely worth the money to stay in a nicer hotel. We do love the breakfast, they have so many options.

All of our team spent two nights there they loved the indoor pool the food that was available in the mornings before their game. The rooms were clean and the elevator seemed large enough to accommodate most of the team, especially when checking in and out. Most importantly the staff at the hotel were pleasant and helpful.

We have stayed at the Best Western Canyon Pines for to visit our son and grandson for the past 10+ years and really enjoyed it. Our son moved to Syracuse, UT which is about 10 minutes west of Layton, so we decided to stay at the Best Western Layton as it is closer to him. We were very happy with the hotel and will stay there for the foreseeable future on our visits

stay here on any trip to Utah, our family lives minutes away. Front desk folks are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast lady, what can we say...Awesome! We always recommend this hotel to other family and friends traveling to Layton or surrounding areas.

Was a Best Western Plus stay , at 40 dollars less than the night before! Great breakfast , fast internet , just an all around good night! Went to Antelope Island next morning , and a good place to stay if going to Hill AFB Museum , which if you haven;t been , is worth the trip , especially since it is no charge!

I stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful, clean, comfortable beds and quiet rooms. nice pool and hot tub. fantastic complimentary breakfast. I will stay here again when I travel to Utah again.

Amazing hotel from the beginning to check out. By far one of the top three Best Western properties we've stayed at. Great customer service and good prices on a very nice room. The breakfast area was well stocked and very well maintained. The halls were very nicely done and well lit. I would very highly recommend that you stay at this hotel when you're in the area.

Our stay at the Best Western Plus Layton Park Hotel was fantastic! The staff is very friendly, check in and check out couldn't have been easier, and the breakfast was the best that we had on our 2100 mile cross-country trip!! It's right next to a movie theater, which we walked to one night to take in a show. It has a nice little gym that we used, and has a very nice looking indoor pool, which we didn't get a chance to use. I would definitely stay here again!

This is one of the better Best Westerns that I have stayed at this year. Very clean Room friendly staff, quiet place and good breakfast. Only twenty minutes from the airport. Several good restaurants within easy walking distance.

I accidentally put one's as the rating number for this exemplary Best Western location. I praised it's staff and facilities but had intended to give it the highest rating 5 rather than the lowest. Rest assured this location is a top notch location.

We spent one night at this hotel, and had a great nights sleep before we had to drive almost 12 hours home. It was quiet, comfortable very clean and we really enjoyed our stay there.And will definitely go back when we visit my daughter again.

We were only here for a single overnight, but it went really well and would be a great fit for a longer stay. We come to the area 1-2 times a year for a doctor's appointment (10 minutes away from this hotel) and this will now be our go-to spot. You don't even have to leave the vicinity of the hotel to have a fun trip! Lots of restaurant and shopping options nearby, including Super Target. Applebee's nearby is open late, which was great for our late arrival. If you feel like a movie, great! There's an AMC literally next door, and the mall and Seaquest aquarium are 2 minutes away (we didn't have time in our short trip this time, but next time!). There's a gym there, which I didn't take advantage of this time. The indoor pool and hot tub room is open 8am-10pm and is really clean as well as being the best temperature. It was kind of busy near closing time, but we went after breakfast and had it all to ourselves. Speaking of breakfast, I won't choose a hotel that doesn't have hot breakfast and coffee available, and this did not disappoint. All your options are there including my favorite (self-cook waffles and mini waffles) bacon, eggs, hash browns, muffins, cereal, yogurt, etc. There were even tortillas to make breakfast burritos and whipped cream available for waffles (or coffee). The breakfast room was a separate room, had news on the TV, and was quite clean. The staff we interacted with were all very friendly, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was generally quiet. The microwave, coffee pot, and fridge in the room were a nice touch. Checking in and out went very smoothly. If you're into it, there's 1 Pokemon Go gym and 2 stops within reach of the building and more within walking distance, as well as a little walking trail. If you're in the area for Lagoon, it's only 20 minutes away. For the Great Salt Lake Marina, Living Planet Aquarium, or anything in between, it would be only about 40 minutes away, and worth it to stay here instead of closer to those features.

On this particular night, the hotel staff member manning the desk was professionally dressed and acted in a professional manner as well. He accommodated my request for the top floor which I sincerely appreciated. There are TV dinners in a refrigerated area next to the main desk for an easy dinner option. The breakfast provided many choices of food and drink. The fitness gym and area were maintained nicely.

The Best Western Layton is our go to hotel when we visit family in Utah. It is perfectly centered between SLC, Ogden and Park City. It is also 5 minutes away from Hill Air Force base. The hotel is easy to find, Adjacent to many restaurants, huge open parking lot, a mall and has a movie theater in the same parking lot. Come on, what more could you ask for ? The staff is very friendly the p The breakfast has a great variety and staff keep it well stocked. The pool has always been clean and fitness center is not bad either. If you join the free Best Western rewards program program the rates to to stay are very affordable.

I decided to try this hotel based on its strong reviews. You can tell it's trying to be a very nice hotel, but it falls short on some fundamental, attention to detail, things that management should fix. Let me give you some examples. First, there was an old vacuum cleaner left in the middle of my hallway during my entire stay. Those items need to be put away. (There has to be a closet for that.). Second, the quality of the towels, bedsheets, hair dryer, and other accessories are basic grade at best. I could almost read through one of the towels. Third, the elevator did not have air flow or air-conditioning. It smelled like chlorine from the people who came out of the pool and used it before I did. Yuck. Fourth, the room need to be cleaner. I could see fingerprint marks on the table, and I was forced to wipe everything down myself. Housekeeping needs to step up. And finally, the walls and floors are thin. I could hear people walking above me I could hear loud talking through the walls. Nothing they can really do about that - just an FYI for readers. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast in the morning was nice and appreciated. And the rate was very affordable. Fix the few low-quality and lack-of-attention-to-detail items, and the hotel could truly be exceptional for the area and for the price.

We so enjoyed our stay here when we took two of our daughters and two friends to Lagoon for a birthday weekend. In fact, we have already booked another stay next month to take our three oldest kids to Lagoon. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and the furnishings were nice and in good condition. The complementary breakfast was great for a quick bite before a long day at lagoon. One thing that I absolutely loved was coming back to a room with a freshly made bed! Many hotels are still not doing this and claiming it's because of Covid, so it was a very nice to see that this hotel has not completely given up on customer service like so many others have. The location is great. Just a quick hop on the interstate and you're at lagoon in just a few minutes.

We have been traveling from oregon to tennessee and this hotel by far has met my expectations or even exceeded in some. The extra towels that were already there was a nice touch since I am not used to that from where I am from. The lobby was gorgeous and well kempt. I can tell that the entire place had great housekeeping and there were no dents or cracks in the walls or furnitures at all or smudges in the mirrors and windows. The front desk had a decent uniform and he greeted us professionally and walked us through their amenities. My husband and I used to work for hotels so this was really something else to us. My only recommendation is to have coasters in the room. I saw some markings of mugs and cups used from previous stays and I know how its close to being impossible to get rid of those. I really appreciate how clean everything was ans how spacious the room was with my husband's name on the screen of the tv to welcome us to the room. Goes to show that guests were not reshuffled to another room and it felt very personalized for us as guests. We had a king size bed with a very comfortable mattress. They had elevators and a lot of luggage carts by the entrance. The pillows were very comfy and fluffy too. The breakfast was also fantastic. The coffee was watered down but other than that everything else was made to almost perfection. Overall our stay was excellent! I would definitely recommend this hotel & I would love to come back and visit when we get the chance in the future.

quick and easy check in, large comfortable room with a nice and tall showerhead. was next to a large variety of activities all with in walking distance. Chose to go to the movies which are right next door. very quiet even with a high way near by. Plenty of parking as it shares with a kinda mall.

It looked like we were there for it's grand opening! Everything and I do mean everything looked brand new and clean. Our 3rd floor room was very quiet ... didn't hear a thing, and I believe all rooms were booked that night. Had a "vast" assortment of hot and cold healthy items in the breakfast room, along with fresh honey on the comb and chunks of fresh cheese and crackers. ALL the employees greeted you with a smile and hello

highly recommend this hotel! Our room was spotless clean, bathroom was also spotless clean, which is extremely important to us. There was room to walk without bumping into each other. Beds were very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Made a breakfast burrito. Lots of options. The homemade yogurt with fruit was so delicious!

This was a great hotel, tucked out of the way but still convenient to freeway access, mall, Lagoon and SLC airport. We stayed there for one of my child's dance competition at Lagoon. They have housekeeping daily and the breakfast was very good. Loved the fresh honey frame displayed to used each morning for fruit and tea.

Pre-registration on mobile for check-in was an added convenience. The room was perfectly prepared and welcoming. The staff were all very pleasant!! The hot breakfast was abundant with many food choices.

Pros: very clean, housekeeping does an EXCELLENT job on keeping the place smelling fresh and clean. Beds are nice, hard and great for backs that need a firm mattress. Hot shower, microwave and mini fridge are included. There is a pool and a gym. One of the best hot breakfast that includes eggs, sausage, bacon, fried taters, biscuits, waffles, cereal, yogurt, honey, bagels. The location is near the mall and next door to the movie theater and several restaurants. Cons: if you are a traveler, looking for a long stay hotel, this is not it. They put a hold on your card for over 500 every week, this is not including the weekly room rate. One week, they didnt even charge my card and the next week they charged 1700 plus a 900 hold amount. This caused my bank account to go into the negative, had overdraft fees and I had to wait 5 days before the 900 was released back into my account but by then the damage was done. They said they were not responsible for the overdraft fees and they said that the hold amounts were not up to them but up to my bank, which is weird since I have been banking with the same bank for years and been staying in hotels for business for years and have had NO hotel put a hold on my card for amount that outrageous. So be careful if you stay here long term. If you are a nightshirt worker, sleeping during the day is hard especially with the air force base flying planes over head, all day and the guest talking loud outside your door and housekeepers making sure the rooms are clean.

This was the first time I've been to this particular Best Western. It was located near restaurants and parks. Lots of outdoor activities close by. Folks were very friendly and helpful. Cost was very reasonable and the place was very clean. Plenty of breakfast choices. If given the opportunity to be in the area in the future, I'd definitely stay there again

We were in the area visiting a sick family member. It was in a great location for shopping and restaurants. But it was right off the freeway so it was a little noisy. The breakfast was amazing and it had tons of options and a beautiful display. The staff was very friendly.

The staff does nothing to stop the jumping and miss-behaving guest in the pool even after it being reported to them, they food is not well stocked at breakfast and if you want a good nights sleep go somewhere else.

We have used this hotel for hundreds of nights. It truly is the best hotel in Layton. The service, the breakfast, they keep it all neat and clean. We have had nothing but great thoughts and many thanks from the hundreds of people that we have hosted in this hotel.

Really nice front desk clerk. He was able to accommodate a special request we had. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the beds provided a good nights sleep. Great adjustable thermostat to keep us warm on a cold winter's night. We would definitely stay here again and so recommended it to others.

We had a wonderful overnight stay in this clean comfortable hotel. One of the nicest places we have stayed at in recent years. Comfortable bed and room amenities. Breakfast was very good in a large open room with variety of items to choose from. Staff very friendly and overall atmosphere made one feel safe and valued. It is in a quiet location just off the freeway in Layton and a wide variety of restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again on next trip through the area.

I have stayed in dozens of hotels for work over the past few years, and Best Western is by far my favorite, to the point where whenever I travel for personal reasons I always choose BW. The staff is always incredibly nice and helpful, and the rooms are always stellar. Never disappointed.

Maybe this comes from having spent weeks at this hotel over many years, but here we feel like part of the family. The hotel is well maintained, the free breakfast is great, and the desk staff are helpful and friendly.

It was a blustery afternoon, and the lobby had a warm fire aglow in their welcoming family room style foyer (and a decorated Christmas tree). We had a kitchenette room, which gave us extra counter space and an extra sink (the refrigerator and microwave were the same size as in the regular rooms). Breakfast was delicious: scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and sausage, choices of bread, waffles, cereals, fruit, teas, yogurt, and a dairy free milk option.

Two stays at this particular hotel for a total of 7 days. Minor issues on the second stay but nothing ton make me lower from 5 stars. The counter personnel were efficient, helpful and friendly. Breakfast bar served hot food and was always well stocked and attended to. The room was nice but not exceptional, but certainly met our needs. We have only had one BW Plus that we were not satisfied with.

Convenient location, close to SLC, freeway and Antelope Island. Room was nice size and very clean. Staff nice and helpful. Breakfast was average hotel free breakfast buffet. Very quiet even though close to highway. Would recommend and stay there again.

Service was great. Rooms were very comfortable with well thought out furniture. Mattresses were 8 out of 10. Cleaning staff was great and breakfast had everything you need. I think it deserved the PLUS.

The location of this hotel is perfect. It is in walking distance to the mall and several restaurants. Near the freeway but did not hear the freeway noise at all. Parking is ample here as well. Added surprise was a movie theater next door (Great for bored kids lol). The hotel is very clean and the beds are firm and so nice. It obviously has been renovated recently. Breakfast was great as well with plenty of selections. Downside, no shuttle to the airport and UBER/LYFT hard to find in the area. I had three rides cancel from the airport due to the distance of the hotel.

This Best western Plus also has a nice walking path behind it. It is in a quiet area, and there are many restaurants in walking distance. The hotel across the street has a bar/lounge, so no driving is needed. The rooms are spacious, clean and in good shape. Even the back stairwell is clean and smells nice. The rooms are in good condition, and I think the frig and microwave were new. TV had a guide on it, and that is not always the case when I travel. Easy access to freeway, AMC movie theater next door. Good breakfast esp if you eat meat and dairy. AC worked very well.

Perfect place to stay because close to where we met family for breakfast and a full day of sightseeing. Friendly staff and clean comfortable room was just what we needed and would use this location again should we ever be back in this area.

Pros: Quiet location close to many restaurants and stores, spacious and clean guest rooms, friendly and efficient staff, wonderful complimentary breakfast Cons: Thin walls I can't recall a time in recent memory when I checked into a hotel faster than this one. Kudos to the front desk staff for being quick and accommodating. Despite being near a busy highway interchange loaded with shopping centers and restaurants of all types, this hotel's location on a side street is quiet and without congestion. Lagoon amusement park- the main focus of my time in the area- was a short ten-minute drive to the south, and the airport was less than 40 minutes by car. My room (upgraded because of my Best Western Rewards status, no doubt) featured a separate living room-type area with sofa and table, which made relaxing at the end of the day very easy. The bed was comfortable and the everything was spotlessly clean; my only complaint are the thin walls between the rooms- the muffled sound of my neighbor coughing was present into the evening hours and again in the morning. Because there is so much to recommend about this hotel (including the comprehensive breakfast offerings) I suggest bringing earplugs in the event this might be an issue, instead of searching for something else in the area. I'm convinced other area hotel offerings likely aren't this nice.

Have you ever seen honey dispenser at a breakfast buffet. Well you should go to Layton Best Western. The service at the front desk was very polite and the lobby as most city Best Western lobbies, a surprise for the price you pay for the room. The room was beautiful and though I did not eat breakfast at the Best Western, I will go back to this hotel. Price was a bit high but I was able to use my points for one night and paid for the other, so cannot complain. Best Western has made me feel safe in all my travels since 2014. I will stick to this chain. They have a location in the smallest towns on a road trip so it is convenient to stack up points for free nights.

We love staying here when we come to visit family. Just a wonderful place and our only option when in the area. It's centrally located to so many dining choices as well as a mall and movie theater and close to the freeway.

There's nothing wrong with this place. All the staff you encounter is extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Room was super spacious and spotless clean. Breakfast is A+. great setting, organized and well set and filled. If your driving, don't need to stay in Downtown paying too much, when you have this place 20 minutes away, centric and amazing. Gym is properly set and clean, pool also perfect. If your traveling solo, couple or family, this is the best hotel. Thank You Best Western, you turned completely around our expectations!

From the welcome at the front desk to the cleanliness and comfort of the room, Best Western Plus exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed the hot breakfast, especially the waffles, each morning. My room was cool and clean.

Overall, this was a very nice hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was also comfortable. Additional furniture made the room very traveler-friendly. The pool was quite cool (not a problem on a sweltering day) and the hot tub was pleasant. The only two problems we encountered were: First, single elevator was exceedingly slow.This is a four-floor, quite large hotel, and should have more, and faster, elevator .service to the upper floors. Second, the breakfast area was small, and was tightly packed with guests who were minimally observing social distancing.

The staff was wonderful from check in to check out! I traveled with family and was the one to book the room and when I realized I'd made a mistake on the reservation they did everything to accommodate us. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was great also :) Served us with a smile and made sure nothing ran out ! Overall great stay

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The entry is beautiful and smells clean, front desk staff were nice, room was spacious. The hotel is a bit older, but has been updated very nicely—though walls were thin enough that the next door room woke my entire family at 1:30am. I would have liked some reassurance that high-touch surfaces were cleaned more often. Other hotels I have stayed in made an effort to reassure guests by sealing rooms after they were cleaned, placing remotes in a bag after cleaning, requiring masks at buffets, etc. Neither staff nor guests wore masks at this location—not even at the breakfast buffet or when sharing the elevator.

In spite of what they say on the website, there are no COVID protocols being followed. Staff do not wear masks, not even in food service area. I was surprised by this coming from CA and seeing many restaurants and bars having servers with masks. Overall a good hotel but not if COVID issues concern you (which it did for me as I was traveling with unvaccinated children).

I know Best Westerns have been getting some renos and updates, however, they are typically last on my list to try to book. I have been blown away with the B.W. we stayed at in Layton. So amazing! Not the Best Western I remember as a kid. This facility was so nice, clean and modern. LOVED IT!

My son and I stayed here for 2 nights because we had a full Lagoon day. The staff was very friendly, the room clean and well appointed , the Breakfast was sufficient and well prepared with the usual industrial scrambled eggs and bacon, but with many other options like a yogurt parfait that was great and an interesting honeyfall. Overall I'm very pleased and would go back in an instant. Nearby a great Brewery within a 3 minute walk Thank you

Clean, easy, convenient. Friendly staff. Basic hotel but has all of the necessities. Room had a very slight odor but otherwise was clean. Only one elevator so did have to wait a bit on that. Walking distance to restaurants and a movie theater, so good location within the town.

Enjoyed two nights in nice room on first floor, end of hall. Quiet, plenty of space to sit even with king bed, all comfortable; very clean bathroom with ample counter space, good shower. Breakfast typical with selection of hot items and ample seating.

This Best Western hotel was close to the freeway on our journey through Utah. We are glad we chose to stay there. It was quiet and peaceful to afford asleep for our family of 6. The pool and hot tub were family friendly without being a water park scene. That is to say it was not a loud unsupervised swim session, but comfortable enough for kids or older guests to enjoy themselves. Very clean and safe area and hotel. We felt safe in the parking lot and the surrounding area. Close to all amenities.

This is simply the best hotel in Layton at prices that are equal to or better than the competition. We always choose this hotel and are disappointed when it is full and we have to use another. The place is always clean and the employees are always kind and helpful. The breakfast is the best we have ever experienced for a free breakfast at any hotel in the United States. Right now with COVID-19 restrictions, it is still better than most places before COVID.

We have stated this hotel before and the rooms never let us down. This time the pool was a little bit chilly but it was also a very cold night! The room was spotless and the extra tells I had requested were nicely snuggled in by the jacuzzi. We will definitely be back there again, hopefully soon!

Made adjustments in service to for covid precautions. Staff were nice. Walking distance to Davis Conference Center where we attended training. Just had an issue turning the tv on at first. Found out eventually that connection got loose when swiveled sideways. Also heard the noisy occupant on the opposite/adjacent room a few times during the night. Other than that, still a great place to stay.

Nice room, clean facilities, friendly staff. I was on a work trip and they didn't give me any problems when I had to utilize their outdoor space to get some work done, I cleaned up after myself and was very appreciative of not being hassled about it at all. Thank you.

With the president of the United States on death's doorstep with Covid-19 these people are letting guests run around mask free like it's this time last year. Had I known of the lax attention being paid to the situation I would never have stay there.

Showed up at 3 am in evacuation mode from fires in OR. The night manager could not have been more helpful, considerate, and kind. Solved my problems and got me settled quicky and smoothly. Room was not, quiet and clean. Comfy bed. Nice little swale/park behind the motel with a paved walk around or for fresh air. Highly recommended!

Overall great hotel, while traveling from north Idaho to this hotel, our family car broke down, I had Reservations for that night and was not going to make it. "Knowing Best Western had a no refund policy" I called and explained my situation, they were very understanding and moved our reservation to the next night. When I arrived, the young Man at the counter, knew who I was and said they felt sorry for our breakdown and was glad to see us, I really appreciated that kindness.

I can't say enough about how great of hotel this is. The staff is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond for the guests. The hotel itself is clean, well maintained, and I feel comfortable whenever I'm there. I will definitely keep supporting this Best Western and its intelligent management/staff members.

hotel is located in newly built area it seems and very new and fresh looking. We had a great hot breakfast that was prepackaged and ready to take to the room. We will be staying again and recommending to any of our friends and family traveling there

We pulled in to the hotel at midnight and were so tired. We were met with a friendly face, quick check in, a comfy bed and clean room at a fantastic price. Breakfast was better than the standard hotel fair as it had scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuit and great coffee. Such a great night of sleep to refresh us for our journey. Would definitely stay here again! Not even a hint of smoke or pet hair anywhere, which was important to us.

When you are shooting the breeze with your friends on the phone in back office instead of taking the front desk sorry for in be inconvenient just needed an room. I asked you for a upper floor room he said because I WENT THUR PRICELINE there will be no upgrad.so he gave me a handicapped room on The second floor room was nice but needed to loose the attitude wont be back

This was a great place to stay staff where friendly and helpfully during these tough times they contracted with a local restaurant to serve hot breakfast to each guest in individual take out containers eggs bacon and potatoes awesome

We arrived from CA in the middle of the Covid outbreak. We were given a very clean and very quiet room and had an enjoyable and restful evening. The grab and go breakfast was excellent, warm hash browns, eggs, bacon and a biscuit. The hotel is very nicely located and we enjoyed a short walk around the greenbelt area. This is our 2nd stay at this hotel and we highly recommend it.

Favorite hotel. Far enough away from freeway noise. Extremely comfortable bed. Loved having chair, couch and table. Love the walking path behind hotel. Breakfast had to be grab and go because of COVID 19 restrictions, but was still eggs, sausage, hash browns and biscuit in a to go container kept hot in a warming oven.

Great clean hotel located just off Highway 15. Check in went very well, really friendly staff both at check in and check out. Comfortable bed. The regular breakfast wasn't available but they had a third party bring in boxed breakfasts. Overall a good one night stay.

Spent 6 nights at this hotel - it exceeded our expectations. Reasonable rates, nice rooms, excellent breakfast - they had fresh honey in a honeycomb. First time I've ever seen this. it was delicious on their biscuits. Lobby was very nice and comfortable with a fireplace and big screen TV. Heated pool and hot tub were great. Highly recommend this hotel

These guys are always helpful to us, we put most of our missionaries and guest speakers here and we do that because they are awesome!! They do a great job, have a great breakfast and really care. I especially love their European section at breakfast, nice crackers and cheeses along with real fresh honeycomb.

We stayed New Year's Eve. It was wonderfuly quiet. The bed had extra pillows and was great to sleep on. We even got an extra 1 1/2 hours (past 11am) when we asked about a possible late check out. We will definitely be back!

Everything is right there. Coffee, cocoa, gym, pool, etc. And a great hot fresh breakfast ready when you wake. Also, easy access to door dash. Once, here, you don't even have to leave for anything if you don't want to.

This hotel is very convenient for any type of purpose, is ver close to shopping and restaurants. Continental breakfast is great, friendly stuff and clean amenities. I definitely will go back to Best Western Hotel Plus.

We picked this hotel mainly for its location close to the I15. It is also within easy walking distance of several restaurants, with two right next door. Plenty of car parking but much of it a bit remote and shared with other buildings.

We were very pleased with the assistance we received at check in securing a valuable road bike inside. The staff is both polite and personable. We appreciated the positive attitude of staff throughout this property.

The rooms were updated, clean, and comfy. The pool was warm and clean and well kept. The breakfast was amazing. We did hear or upstairs neighbors all night but it didn't bother us. The staff was so kind. We would definitely stay here again.

On line reservations were mad about 4 hours before we arrived, Great value in the cost of the room, I was surprised in the low cost for such a great room. It was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. No bleed through noise from other rooms and a great breakfast buffet. definitely staying there again.

This was a great hotel! I only had one problem with the jetted tub in my room but I brought it to the attention of the front desk and they were amazing about handling the situation and discounted my room for that night. I would stay here again.

There are a few hotels in this part of Layton. This one is not as noticeable, but exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and comfortable. I slept better than I have been at home, which is rare for me in hotels.

The front desk receptionist was amazing. His smile and friendliness made me feel more than just a paying customer. The room was spacious and clean it had what we needed. One more thing the breakfast was delicious and it had hot and cold foods. The honeycomb and the spread was something new that I have not seen at other hotels.

The hotel rooms were very outdated. Furniture was dirty and there was what looked to be blood spots on the wall and ceiling. The bed and the rest of the room seemed very clean so we stayed, as it was only 2 nights and we only needed a place to sleep. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed one night for a family reunion and Lagoon day. This hotel was clean, beautiful and was more like an upscale hotel than a Best Western. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was SOOO good! The attendants were very proactive and took pride in their breakfast. Eggs, waffles, bacon, potatoes, bacon - better than most hotels! The lobby was inviting and the front desk clerk was friendly.

Just stayed one night but everything was excellent. Breakfast was great. They had eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage, everything to start your day right. We will return and stay here if we are going to be in the area.

Didn't think of a Best Western as a higher-end hotel. Lobby is comfortable, but they didn't waste space there. The breakfast area is open reasonable hours with hot food and cereal; had honey on the comb and cheese - a simple, fancy touch! Even after the hot food closes, the room is open all day with coffee, cereal and fruit. The room was adequate, the bed was comfortable, and the updated bath has orange-scented soap and shampoo. It's walking distance to several restaurants and next to the movie theater.

This hotel was a beautiful hotel in the middle of everything. Have not stayed at very many best Western but was very impressed with the hotel. The price was excellent for a king suite. Had an excellent complementary Breakfast. Would definitely stay there again if in the area. The only downside of the visit was Wi-Fi was slow.

I go to this hotel once a year for a convention. I always stay at the Best Western Plus. Loved it the first time, will continue to use this hotel everytime I go to Utah for the show. Everything is clean, the staff is super friendly and accomodating.

As I entered the Best Western, I was immediately impressed by the appearance of the hotel. Based on the price, I did not expect it to look so clean and beautiful. Since I was traveling alone, I knew that I would not need to have my room cleaned everyday, so I used my "Do not Disturb" door hanger and the staff respected that. On the third day of my stay, I removed it and my room was cleaned and freshened up nicely. I was impressed by the options included in the free continental breakfast; even a picky eater would be able to find something to eat. The fitness center is well equipped and was a nice option when I was not busy with my conference. I did not use the pool, but it is a decent size and was frequently used by other guests who looked to be enjoying themselves. The hotel was conveniently surrounded by many restaurants and a mall is only minutes away. I would gladly stay at this hotel again and I have also recommended it to friends. It was a very comfortable place to stay.

While we were there we went to Antelope Island which is very close to the hotel. I lost the bottom of my camera case and did not realize until we arrived at next destination. Front desk was very helpful checked with housekeeping and went back to room to check for himself.

Great hotel with easy access to Ogden and Salt Lake City. Clean rooms, good breakfast, indoor pool and small fitness center. Walking distance to theater and many restaurants. Rooms had additional chair for seating. Ample parking.

Surprised how nice this Best Western was compared to others we have visited. The afternoon staff was friendly and informative. The breakfast was better then any other we have had with special touches of fruit, cheese and honey. Nice pool and hot tub as well.

This was our first stay in a Best Western Plus hotel and we were pleasantly surprised at accomodations and amenities. The room was great with first class toiletries, clean room, comfortable beds, spacious accomodations, quiet rooms, and a great breakfast. Definitely would recommend this hotel since it is in walking distance to restaurants, mall and theatre.

We stayed on the fourth floor and it was quiet, clean and roomy. Used the laundry facilities which were clean. Received good room service each day. Very close to movie theaters, mall, restaurants, grocery and freeway.

Best stay, Very clean and professional. We have stayed here before and will stay again I love BW. We got cancelled at a different business and called at the last minute and had a room waiting here in a matter of one phone call, or we would have been stranded. Great place to stay love the pool!

For the first time in a long time, I have zero complaints about a hotel! Check-in was a breeze, even though the front desk person was dealing with several things at once. Hotel was super clean, from front desk to room to pool area. Our beds were cozy, room designed well, bathroom was spacious and CLEAN! The breakfast offered was wonderful-something for everyone, including waffles With various fruit toppings, eggs and sausage and bacon, and lots more. Overall, this was about as close to perfect as I have seen in a long time and I would definitely choose this hotel again!

This hotel is a pleasure to stay at. We used the fitness center and pool daily. They we're both very nice and very clean. Rooms are a nice size and everything is very clean and in working order. Breakfast had a lot of nice choices and variety. The Beehive honey is a very nice touch for the area! I would recommend this hotel for anyone and will stay here again.

We booked our stay here due to previous positive stays at a Best Western Plus. We were not disappointed. At check-in, the staff at the front desk were pleasant and professional. We went to it room, but quickly found out that our neighbors were quite a bit louder than our family would be comfortable with. I called the staff and they immediately put us in another room that worked very well for us. The rooms were clean. They had a fresh feeling and smell. There weren't any USB plug-ins in our room, which does seem to be more common place these days... Bring your own charging implements for your devices. The continental breakfast was very good. Each of my kids and my wife were happy with their options. They had fruit, yogurt, and granola parfaits prepared that were delicious. Also, they had actual honeycomb available which was a fun and unusual treat. I would gladly stay here again.

Hotel was very clean and centrally located. Convenient to the interstate and restaurants. Breakfast bar was good and constantly stocked. The only down side was the hotel parking. While there is parking ,most of the spots are not on the hotel property. I would stay there again.

The hotel was easy to access from the I15 and the staff was friendly great breakfast and the room was clean and nicely decorated. Speed of check in and out was great would definitely stay again. Lots of parking close to a lot of different restaurants to choose from.

Absolutely no complaints for any of the stay. We were originally planning to stay for 21 days while our home was being remodeled. We had to extend 4 times and ended up staying 52 days. The young men at the front desk were courteous, friendly and always helpful. We were treated so well that we felt a little sad to leave and go back home. The large breakfast area offers a variety of choices for everyone. Waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, coffee, hot chocolate, hot and cold cereals, and juices. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff works hard to maintain cleanliness and they were always friendly and helpful with our room care. The hotel itself is in a quiet, clean and safe area. It is near many restaurants, movie theaters and the mall. There is easy freeway access. The Pool and Hot Tub area was great for us and our occasional visiting grandchildren. There were always plenty of clean pool towels available and the pool area was clean and well maintained. There wasn't one negative about our stay of nearly 7 weeks. We will definitely stay here again, even though it is only about 10 miles from our home.

We stay at BW all the time. We were traveling across country and stopped here for the night. Staff were great, room was great, would like to say something to avoid or watch out for, but nothing was negative. Enjoy your stay here.

We had the pleasure of staying at this Best Western and I cannot say enough good about it. We travel mostly with Best Western and this probably the Best of all. The place was very clean, good location and the personnel were knowledgeable and friendly.

Wow! If you're in the Salt lake valley and a Best Western member, this is easy to say yes to. Great staff, great location with plenty of restaurants and entertainment nearby. The price was great as well. You'll even get honeycomb to load up your bread with in the morning!

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted, and very quickly had our room. Our room was very nice, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a restaurant just a few yards from the hotel to have our dinner. Breakfast was very good, with lots of selection from bacon, eggs, sausage patties, hashbrowns, breads, cereals, waffles and great hot coffee and juice. The same pleasant person who checked us in, checked us out and we were on our way.

I have stayed at this facility 4 or 5 times and it will always be my choice in the Salt Lake City area. The rooms are nice. The staff are always helpful and courteous. The facility is very nicely accented throughout from the lobby to the hallways and the rooms. The local history photographs are cool and very well displayed. The lobby decor is attractive and well thought out. The hot tub and pool are very nice and maintained and supplied with towels like they really want you to use them.

could have stayed closer to my destination but this BW serves a great breakfast! Clean, comfortable and good value. We will definitely stay here again! Convenient right off Interstate 15 and lots of restaurants.

The Best Western in Layton Utah is an excellent place to stay. The hotel is clean and the service is outstanding. Wifi works wonderfully. It is close to entertainment (within walking distance of the mall and movie theater and several restaurants).

I highly recommend this hotel. Staff is always professional and courteous, rooms and amenities are great. Dining area is always very clean and great breakfast. I have had to stay at other hotels if BW was sold out and I can say I haven't been as pleased as I am with Best Western Layton Park.

This hotel is right where you need to be, there is the Layton Hills mall right across the parking lot, along with the aquarium. There are 2 movie theaters also within walking distance, and restaurants in abundance in the surrounding area. Also is a light away from the freeway with easy access to it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast gives plenty to choose from and is fresh. I highly recommend this hotel and plan on staying here again when I go back.

The location is great, close to dining and shopping. Movie theater within walking distance. Nice indoor pool, and full hot breakfast. Main interstate just a few exits away, easy to travel to and from this location.

This is my top pick in properties when I come to this area (at least once monthly) it all ways is clean and quiet and shopping, food, and entertainment is all within walking distance! This last visit the room had hair in the tub and a big ink stain on the carpet I front of the table by the TV. The young man checking me in seemed like he hadn't been trained properly on how to greet or look up customer info

I was here for 3 weeks this trip, first time I have stayed at this BW. The Hotel, staff, rooms and amenities were excellent and the rate was extremely competitive with other hotels in the area. It is centrally located to Layton Mall, AMC theater, Cinemark theater, and several good restaurants. There is a nice large pool and hot tub + a nicely equipped exercise room. There is also a nice outdoor circular walking path behind the hotel that I would estimate is 1/4 mile long. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in the area, I'll certainly be back. The only semi-negative comments I can make are 1] low end hair dryer in the room and 2] a very slow elevator but that's OK, the stairs are good exercise. Enjoy your stay..

This Best Western Plus is amazing! We were there for a family funeral and so we stayed up to four nights for some of the family members. The first evening the breaker had tripped and so there wasn't hot water for a while but they got right on it and had it resolved in a very short period of time.The beds and rooms were very well-kept and clean. They are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is also larger and doesn't feel like a small little closet like some hotels.The hot breakfast was much better than most hotels. Even though it was scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon, you also had a choice of full-sized waffles or mini waffles, along with a fruit yogurt parfait. The choices/quality and options were great.We had eight different couples staying there and all of us were highly complimentary of the service and the quality we received for our money. Zaven, one of the office managers, was particularly helpful in getting everything arranged so perfectly. Well done!

We stayed at this motel on our way back from St George Utah after playing in the Huntsman World Senior Games. We were on our way to Lynnwood Wa where we live and like to break-up our return into our favorite stops.

We live in ogden but came to stay for our anniversary it was a wonderful place to just get out for the night and spend some quality time staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will be staying again!

This Hotel has the best staff ever and is very beautiful. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast is great! This is the place to stay. It is close to lots of restaurants. Close to the mall and other shopping. I can only praise this hotel.

Hotel was beautiful and clean. Pool was sparkling. Breakfast was wonderful. Too bad the stay was ruined by a RUDE, CONDESCENDING and BELLIGERENT front desk clerk. We reported noise (two nights in a row) from the room above us (kids jumping off the beds during the night and running) and were treated badly by the checkout clerk. My husband is recovering from a stroke and has speech issues and was rudely told "I can't understand you" even though I had just translated what had been said and was ignored.

Pros: price is good, motel and room were clean, room (401) was spacious and well laid out. Magic toilet: it flushes perfectly using almost no water. Building itself seems new. Staff and management are very good, helpful and friendly. I had two issues during my stay, reported them to the front desk, and both were resolved quickly to the best of the staff's ability. Cons: motel might be hard to find - I needed GPS. General: wifi was generally good, but had minor buffering issues with Youtube and couldn't handle Pandora or otherwise simple streaming. (My Verizon Jetpack worked better. After more research, I logged into generic Xfinity, and that was quickest of all.) General: the bathroom sink didn't have a stopper, and the sink is to the extreme right of a spacious counter, crowded by a wall. The water was hot, but not REALLY hot. I mentioned this at the front desk and they told me that the hot water comes from on-demand units in each room rather than from a boiler. The maintenance man came to the room and spent some time inspecting and cleaning the units. When he was done, the water was hotter but still not REALLY hot. The cylinder on the desk chair in the room had a slight leak. I'd lift the seat up every night, and every morning it would be back down. Overall 5/5. Value 5/5. Wifi 4/5. Recommended. I'd stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located off the highway and among restaurants and other stores. The property is clean and welcoming after a long day. Breakfast was good and the room was quite large, with tall ceilings.

Check in and out were quick. The young man at the desk as extremely helpful. Was super helpful about the luggage cart. The breakfast was great. The food was tasty. Loved the honey station, had never seen anything like it .

Priced well for weekend fun. Clean , great location for shopping and sight seeing! Easy access from the freeway and the people who work there were very friendly. The only problem we're too many children in the pool.

Everything met or exceeded my expectations at this hotel. The breakfast items were hot and they had plenty of food, including REAL bacon every morning and fresh honeycombs, which was something I never saw before.

We have stayed at this lovely hotel on numerous occasions (one at each end of our road trips) and it is such a great place we wish we could take it with us on our travels! Rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are very friendly. Lots of parking space and situated near restaurants and supermarkets. Nice indoor pool which we unfortunately didn't have time to use. Great breakfast with various hot and cold items. Loved the local honey dripping from the honeycomb. Shout out to Zavon who was especially helpful in fixing our shower! Thank you for another fabulous stay and for the Gold member gift. Can't wait to stay again - one day it will be for more than a stopover!

This BW is unusually nice with a fine staff, large well appointed rooms, a good location, and an excellent breakfast. We were very well pleased with our stay and felt we received good value for the cost. If in the Layton/SLC area we would welcome staying here again.

We only stayed here for one night. We wanted to go to Antelope Island the following day and then we had to fly home that evening so it was in an ideal place for us. The Island was only approx 20 minutes drive and the airport about 30 minutes. Shops and restaurants were also very close by (including the Superb Golden Corral).On arrival at the hotel,we found there was a lot of parking spaces available (and free).The hotel itself had a very welcoming lobby and polite,friendly staff. The room we had was a good size and very clean. The bed was also very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was superb with an array of hot and cold food + a honeycomb for your fresh honey should you want it. We found the hotel to be great value for money as we generally do with most BW's we've stayed in. As far as we are concerned we highly recommend it.

This is one of the nicer moderately priced hotels I've stayed at. The hotel appears to be fairly new and is in excellent condition. The staff was friendly and it's close to a large shopping center. I go to Layton quite often to visit relatives and plan on staying here when I do so.

We stayed 2 nights. Large clean and comfortable room with 2 queensize beds. Very friendly personnel. Swimmingpools with clean towels. Well located, close to highway, restaurants, shopping mall. Salt Lake City is 25 minutes by car. Great breakfast! We visited Antilope Island, gate is less than 15 minutes away. Absolutely fine BW Hotel.

It was a clean, quiet room. Friendly staff, wonderful continental breakfast. Very central to shopping (mall, Target, Ross), restaurants(Chic-Fil-a ,Red Robin, Outback, Golden Corral etc). It was very close to where I needed to be.

Room quiet (except for kids jumping up and down in room above us). Bed pretty comfortable, with only a slight dent from hundreds of sleepers. Easy and convenient walk to convention center through a mini park. Close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast good, with eggs, bacon, sausage, local cheese, muffins, the assorted cereals etc., and some fruit. It's not fancy, but it's good. As a non-milk drinker I appreciated having almond milk available. My complaint? The room didn't get made up one day; the second day she wasn't there until afternoon; the third day she skipped us again until I saw her and asked her to come in as I needed trash emptied. Surely it can't be that hard to get the rooms done each day???

I am a very frequent traveler for many years and stay at all kinds of hotels, both higher end and average, depending upon the company and the trip. I was extremely satisfied with the location, the lobby decor, the staff and the comfort of our room. The bed and pillows were great, the staff was super friendly and very attentive, and we had a surprise with a high end recliner seat movie theater sharing the sidewalk so enjoyed a movie before bed. I am so glad I happened to find this place in a listing of nearby hotels to the airport. I made sure to tell the front desk that my stay was more than wonderful. If I ever have to visit SLC area again, this hotel will be on the short list.

Hotel near Hill AFB (less than 3 miles) that was clean, good breakfast with good service and good beds. Hot breakfast consist of sausage, bacon, potatoes, scrambled eggs along with waffles, fresh fruit and some pastries. Breakfast included some "cold" items as well. Person in the breakfast area kept the breakfast area clean and well stocked. Front desk was helpful and efficient. Stayed 3 nights in June 2018 and enjoyed the comfortable bed and decent shower. I had a king bed that was very comfortable. Good water pressure in shower. Only "problem" was a wash cloth left over by a previous guest, but the room was otherwise clean. I will return here to visit my son in the Air Force because the hotel is clean and nearby. Hotel is near restaurants and shopping (Super Target) about a mile away. I wouldn't mind paying a bit less, but the value for the money was still very good. Recommended.

Hotel has an expensive feel even tho it is a very good buy. We had an accessible room that was easy to get around in. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was average but they did have fruit, muffins and yogurt that they let us take with us since we had to leave before their 6:30 start time. Most of our praises, however, were the incredibly nice and helpful young men that staffed the check-in/out counter. They were attentive to our needs and just genuinely very nice and cheerful doing their job. We will come back in a heartbeat if we're in area again just to be treated so nicely by the staff!

I would think Best Western would have newer and nicer rooms. May as well have been an old Motel 6. Staff was rude and not accommodating. Took an hour to get a blanket. Not much of a breakfast. I would never stay there again.

This hotel was decent. The room was clean and the staff. Great for a quick night. I was working on Hill AFB and this hotel is perfect distance from the South Gate. Provided easy access and even with morning traffic i was on base within 10 minutes from this hotel.

One of the best places we have stayed for the money. Perfect in every way. Front desk so welcoming, loved the room layout, clean and great decor. We especially enjoyed the breakfast variety with fresh cut fruit. The workout room was well equipped. A must if one is staying our driving though Salt Lake City or vicinity!

My favorite hotel in this area for sure! The staff is exceptional and very friendly always trying to make your stay special! The pool area is clean and enjoyable the breakfast is always presented very well with a good variety to choose from 5 star over all!

Wonderful employees who loves their job and loves what they do. Very clean hotels. Breakfast lady who made me a crepe. Allan who checked me in was so helpful and stayed on the phone with me because I was lost, till I arrived the hotel.

We for the most part liked our stay!! The rooms are clean and nice. The included breakfast is well done. Here comes the but. But we had to move rooms due to them putting kids on the top floor who ran over our heads all hours of the day and night. It was a shame it ruined what was almost a perfect trip! There's construction that makes walking to nearby attractions impossible. That's no fault of theirs. They could have handled the noise complaints a little better but overall a nice place.

Spontaneous trip to SLC. Made a reservation by phone day of, had a pleasant experience with each and every employee. Nice hotel, clean rooms. Everything worked well. Complimentary breakfast was hot and had great variety. Would absolutely stay here again.

I booked a room here for a Lagoon trip with my son. We do this several times during the season. We usually stay at the Comfort Inn at the opposite side of the mall for about the last 8 years. We decided to give this place a try since I have stayed at many different levels of Best Western Hotels. Between the traffic from road construction and freeway/mall traffic I was not impressed. Also the crowd seemed a bit snooty. I think the comfort Inn give a better and quiet atmosphere that is more down to earth. Save yourself $40 a night and get better people and same amenities.

Traveling to Canada and stayed one night. Hotel is very clean, well cared for and reasonably priced. Average hotel breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Received good walking directions for dinner from front desk staff.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. One of the “best” Best Western Hotels we have stayed in. Front desk host was super friendly and no hassle check-in . Very clean and nice decor. Our room was comfortable and bed was extra comfy. Great location and close to several good restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Of all the hotels that I have stayed in the western states, this hotel has found the meaning of service to its clients. I have stayed at this hotel once previously and found that this visit was no exception to the quality of service given. This was our 3rd or 4th stay at Layton Park. The quality of the hotel and amenities was wonderful as always. It is clean, clean and the staff are more that happy to accommodate your needs. Don't overlook this facility!

I have been pleasantly surprised at how amazing the Best Western has been. The grounds and the hotel are well kept and maintained. Allan R. Who primarily works at night was very friendly and kind to me and I saw him doing many things to make sure that my friends and I had a clean hotel to stay in and enjoy. I highly recommend the Best Western for price to value ratio and for the excellent people that work there!

Some kind of military goings on so everything was booked. Just happened to get one of the last rooms and it was wonderful! Great beds and an almost new fitness center (there is also a running trail outside). Breakfast was good and ample for a traveler. Love the local honey served with biscuits. So many restaurants within walking distance too.

This hotel offers all the comforts of home... and then some! We stay here several times each year for a variety of reasons; from the death of a loved one to Christmas as a family. We are always treated with warmth and respect!

Everything was amazing, from the staff, to the room, so the breakfast. In fact, it was the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. They even had honeycomb on the original tray plus a specialty cheese over and above a bid selection of breakfast foods!

This beautiful hotel was easily accessible from the freeway. You enter the to a beautiful lobby and very gracious employees. The room was very clean and a good size. Only complaint in the room was the beds were a little hard. We loved the pool just wished it was open earlier and stayed open a little later. The breakfast had a great variety so everyone was able to find something they wanted. My daughter especially loved the fresh honeycomb. We would definitely stay here again!

Best Western has great hotels to stay at when I travel. I have been to many hotels and always have returned to Best Western Hotels because of overall high quality hotel and customer service standards. When I need to stay at a hotel in any city, I look for a Best Western Plus.

We visit Layton often for personal reasons every year. We found Best Western Plus Layton Park Hotel and enjoyed their friendly service, pool and hot tub, and free breakfast - which is very yummy - and have made sure we stay with them everytime we visit the city of Layton now. The staff is efficient and courteous. Our rooms are always clean and the beds more comfortable than most any other hotel or motel we've stayed in. Thanks for all your added effort to make our stay enjoyable!

Excellent and helpful check in staff, clean and very comfortable room, great selection at breakfast, and an overall wonderful stay. And, we even enjoyed the historical pictures featured in the hallways and lobby areas. I plan on staying here again soon!

This was a nice hotel that I had several of my employees stay at while in town for training. I always use this hotel and never once has there been and problems or issues. I will continue to use this Best Western any time I have someone in training in Layton

My son and I were down for yet another weekend in Layton, Utah, (seventh time since June), and this time we stayed at the Best Western Plus hotel. It was 'Very' nice. We were up on the top floor and we really did like the room. Nice beds, nice bathroom facilities, nice linens, and nice amenities for swimming, exercising, and breakfast. Finding it the first time is a little tricky right now as one of the roads that you might access the hotel from is blocked but there is a parking lot that you could cut through that made for a good detour option. It was was a minor detail. The facility itself, more then made up for the inconvenience. The staff there were extra nice,.. .from the front desk, to the housekeeping staff, as well as the the breakfast attendant. We actually ran into another family from Billings, Montana staying there and they also seemed to enjoy the hotel. They took their family to Lagoon Amusement Park, that was still open on weekends until Halloween. All and all a great location!

Just as the hotel description states, this hotel is extremely well located in the northern suburbs of Salt Lake City. You can park your car and walk to a movie theater, conference center, restaurants, and a mall. The staff is friendly and informative. We were able to set the temperature in our room so that it was quite comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Sunday breakfast included cheese and crackers, which we'd never seen before. Great idea!

I stayed at the Best Western in Layton, UT and loved it. Very clean, i loved walking into the hotel every day and smelling the hotel. Great breakfast, great customer service. I will be staying here again and urge anyone else to stay here, too. I enjoyed going to the theatre conveniently located next door. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, easy access to highway!

Nice stop over on our way home. Close to shopping and restaurants. We were able to easily find a Starbucks for our coffee fix and their were any number of restaurants in close proximity. The motel was clean and the staff was helpful. If we make the same trip next year we will stay again.

All of the employees were very friendly, professional, and helpful. We interacted with the maids and the breakfast staff as well as the desk personnel. Each and everyone I'd be proud to have working for me. The facility was very nice. The room was large and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The in-room Jacuzzi was a particular hit. The morning breakfast was probably the most unique of any of the dozen or more Best Westerns I visited this year. The real honey and biscuits, the honeycomb display, the cheeses, to the crepes the second day; each was a pleasant surprise.

Staff is amazing! My room was always pristine after housekeeping was done! I recommend this hotel over any in he area!! Breakfast was good!! I loved the potatoes and eggs! Unique hotel, it stand out from all other best westerns!

Stopped in the area to avoid traffic going through Salt Lake at 4:30 pm and also saw the restaurants we wanted to go to and knew this was the area for us. Almost didn't go to this motel since they were working on the road and it was in a mall area. But we cut over in front of the theater parking lot and it seemed to work. Not the cheaper stay of most of our motels, even with discounts and being on a Monday night, it was near $150 with taxes. We had a nice 2 queen room on the 3rd floor overlooking a green belt area. The internet did work well. AC worked great. The beds were comfy. The bathroom was very small, 2 1/2 feet to stand between the door and the toilet, even though the counter ran the full length. Certainly would not be suitable for 4 people. Only a padded bench for placing luggage. The closet was large enough for a folding luggage rack but there was none, so my luggage had to go on the floor (not the best arrangement). Did not go to breakfast here so I can't comment on the quality (too close to a fav of mine, Cracker Barrel).

Pro: high ceilings, good room lighting. Cons: hidden in a big mall, hard to find. Limited parking next to hotel. Stain on ottoman at room entry. Ethernet offered but dead, did not work. Locked out after 1 of 2 nights, had to ask for new key. Have to sign in to wifi constantly. Thin blanket, no comforter. At free breakfast loud Fox TV News with multiple ceiling speakers, stressful and annoying. $133 seemed high

This is a super nice hotel and is very clean and comfortable. Our first night there was unpleasant because we had a room next to the elevator. The next morning I discussed it with the desk staff and they were very helpful and had us moved to a different room.

We spent two nights here, 1 week apart. For our first stay, the room smelled so strongly of some kind of cleaner that it was bothersome. We thought we would get used to it, but we didn't, and found ourselves hiding our faces under the covers of the bed. That night, there was a lot of noise coming from the room upstairs. Meanwhile, the thermostat control for the air conditioner in that room made it very difficult to get the temperature we wanted. We barely slept. I came very close to cancelling our reservation for the following week on our return trip. But, I didn't feel like spending vacation time researching to find another hotel in the area. So we returned. For our second stay everything went very smoothly. There was no smell of cleaner, but the room was quite clean. We were comfortable and able to sleep well. It seems that our first night was an aberration. This hotel is nice, clean, and appears to be well run.

We spent two days here. It was a very nice room, lobby is beautiful and the front desk person was most helpful. The morning breakfast was also good. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Really nice hotel with a theater next door and the mall across the street with lots of restaurants to choose from. The continental breakfast was delicious with a variety of food to pick from. Highly recommend it.

This was our first time in the SLC area. We had a late check-in (9ish SLC time and 11ish my time) and the gentleman was very nice. The room was comfortable and clean. I woke early and finally about 5 decided to hang out in the lobby. I noticed our invoice on the floor and grabbed it on my way out of the room. The room charge was $15 dollars higher than what we reserved so I spoke to Alan about it. He was very nice and realized that when the gentleman who checked us in, for some reason he changed us to a different room type and he didn't keep the same price. Alan took my information and said he would get it handled when the manager arrived. I was in the breakfast area when Alan came to say everything was taken care of. He was ready to head home but wanted to find me first. How thoughtful. Speaking of breakfast, I was surprised at how good it was. Very tasty, great selection, and the coffee was good too. I definitely recommend this hotel, just make sure your price is correct.

This is a great location near many businesses and entertainment options. Staff is professional, courteous, and educated on things to do in the area. Only suggestion would be extending breakfast menu to mix things up a bit for people staying more than 2 nights.

This is my second stay here and it didn't disappoint. My room was clean and smelled good. The hotel was quiet, although there was some construction noise nearby and jets that flew by my last two days, but not the hotels fault. Breakfast is good and I love the yogurt parfaits. Haven't found those at other BW yet! Close to lots of amenities.

Great staff. Very friendly. Took time to make you feel Welcome. Had slight issue, however both of the desk guys stopped everything they were doing to fix it. This is our Go to hotel when visiting our kids & GrandKids

I only stayed one night at this Best Western and it was very comfortable. I am away from home mostly for business so I appreciate a clean and comfortable hotel. This Best Western was great. Clean, friendly staff and a comfortable bed.

Used the hotel as a staging area for the start of the Wasatch Front 100. About a half hour drive from SLC Airport. Breakfast had a large selection and very tasty, Hotel was clean and convenient to many restaurants.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Max at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, as was the rest of the property. Breakfast was great. The hotel construction and finishes are of very good quality. I hope others have a good experience like we did. I look forward to staying here in the future.

Clean. Looks new. Helpful staff, very nice. Large rooms. Comfortable beds, lots of pillows. Quiet. Hot free breakfast (make your own waffles, scrambled eggs (powdered?) bacon, sausage, yogurt, cereal, etc. (Coffee, apple juice and orange juice powdered/instant). Fitness center not great. Equipment not in great shape but I could make do. Indoor pool. Very nice for the price. I would stay there again.

The staff were very helpful. Nice place, with many restaurants nearby. Close to Hill AFB main gate, and highly recommend. If you are visiting Hill AFB, this hotel matched our per diem rates, so we had no out of pocket expense.

We always stay at this hotel on our road trips and the beginning and end and would stay longer if we had time - we always say we wish we could take the room with us! Staff are very friendly - we got checked in twice by Zevon and he was very helpful. Breakfast has a big variety of hot and cold items. The pool area is lovely though we didn't get chance to use it unfortunately. Rooms are very clean and spacious and the beds and pillows really comfy. Bathrooms are modern and spotless. Position of hotel great - close to I15, lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and a cinema. Always recommend this lovely hotel to friends, including some who I worked with in the travel industry.

we love coming here , we enjoy the pool and the breakfast is great most places you have to pay extra and we hate that so this is one of the many reasons we will continue to stay at the best western. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is so clean and the walking path is great as well

Clean surroundings. Near many restaurants and shopping. Marie Calendars, Red Robin, Golden Corral, Pizza places, and Asian cuisine. Super Target, Walmart, and Lowes were within walking distance. The room was clean, although the bath room left a lot to be desired. You almost had to be a contortionist to reach the toilet paper. Sink handles were loose, and the shower head was in need of cleaning mineral deposit. The bed was very comfortable.

After an 11 hour drive, this hotel was just what I needed! Beautiful rooms, very clean, modern and spacious. The beds and pillows helped me sleep like a log. A full hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, waffles and so much more made getting on the road a bit easier. I would have loved to had another day to swim and enjoy the amenities.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location but near lots of restaurants. Very spacious comfortable room with 2 large beds and a great swimming pool. Didn't get the man on reception name but he was young tall with dark hair and so helpful!

This hotel has one of the best fitness rooms I have seen. Wide variety of fitness equipment, including several weight machines. Very impressive. Although I did not use the pool it appeared to be a very decent size for a hotel of this size.

Very nice hotel located conveniently near Convention center and eateries. Staff was very attentive to any issues that arose, not that there were very many! Only thing was it was initially tough to locate, but worth the effort.

We spent three nights at this hotel, it was very clean, quiet, the room was very comfortable plus a good breakfast , fresh cold water and coffee available all the time in the lobby.Excellent location too. A sister in law recommend it to us and we were happy with her choice.

BW is really stepping up their game. Great rooms. Clean and spacious. Very comfortable beds. The staff really makes you feel welcome. Breakfast is standard for this level of hotel. We're traveling to another city tomorrow and habe chosen BW Plus again. Keep up the standards and you"ve won me over.

This is our "go to" lodging choice when traveling from Las Vegas to Montana. The hotel is clean and grounds are well maintained. The location of this hotel makes it easy to shop at the nearby mall, eat at a variety of close by restaurants or enjoy the peace and quiet of the area green space around this hotel. The beds are very comfortable and air conditioning works great. Breakfast is good with a variety of choices.

BW has done it again, hit it out of the park. One of the best hotels I have stayed at in a while. When booking hotels now I only look at three different ones and BW Plus is on the top of my list. Thanks for doing such a great job again!

This hotel is a great combination of comfort, location and price. The front desk staff at checkin and checkout were quick and courteous. The room itself had everything I wanted. Clean room, comfortable bed, minifridge, microwave, great water pressure, towels that were above average in quality for a modestly priced hotel. And quiet! This was a crowded night at the hotel, and there were lots of people milling around the lobby and a full parking lot. But there was no noise at all to be heard from inside my 3rd floor room, and I had an uninterrupted night of sleep. Breakfast was more than adequate for being included in the night's stay. I look forward to staying here again.

We visited this July. The hotel was very nicely updated, friendly staff. We walked across a little grassy park for supper, lots of choices for food and shopping close by. Our room was on the 2nd floor behind the elevator, there was some noise from the room above us and elevator, which could be avoided if you asked for a top flow room and not by elevator! Breakfast and pool areas were both nice as well.

Upon Arrival to the hotel I was great condition. During my stay the rooms were clean and room service was great. Upon departure to CA my check out was easy and convenient. I would encourage other people to stay at this hotel.

We stay here several times a year even though there are many other hotels in the area. We've tries some of the others but keep coming back here. They just don't measure up to the quality of service we get at this hotel. This place is the best.

I'll just start off by saying as far as the hotel is concerned, everything was outstanding. I can't make it any plainer than that. Max, the subject of this review is a definite asset. When we were checking in, at 4pm, a family with 2 6-8 year olds arrived. The kids were bored kids, and a bit of a pain. But, we figured they would wear out and go to sleep pretty early. Nope They wound up in the room straight above us. At 9:30, they were just as loud, jumping off the beds, running, yelling. I wasn't gonna put up with that, so I called the desk, and asked them to take care of it. 45 minutes later, they were still at it. As loud, if not more so. I went to the lobby and made a big stink over it. Max mentioned that some one would have to change rooms, and I quickly announced that it was not gonna be us. I am a Diamond member, and had no intention of moving. He agreed, and headed upstairs. The noise stopped shortly after. He came to our room, and told us that they had been moved to a room directly above the office. Apparently, the spawn were also running up and down the hallway as well as in the room. It floors me how "parents" can let their poop-flingers act like that. Someone needed a smacking, and it should have started with the breeders. Not counting the spawn, the noise level at this hotel in very low. Anyway, Max was completely professional in this matter. You have a real promising guy there.

One of the best Best Western Plus Hotel I've stayed. Fantastic location if you do not need to be staying in Salt Lake City city center and the hotel has nice decor and is in a good location with nearby food and restaurant amenities. It is only about 20 - 30 minutes north of SLC international airport.

This Best Western is highly recommended! It is fairly new. Very clean. Courteous front guest representatives and cleaning service. The breakfast buffet is over the top. Food was delicious The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on for a hotel room. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Some in walking distance.

this hotel was great from the moment we walked into the door. the feeling reminded me of that of a 4 star hotel upon walk-in. very upgraded and nice. customer service was fantastic, and the overall experience was great. The hot breakfast was amazing as well. standard hot items as to be expected, not just cereal (though that was an option as well). Highly recommended for the price. other hotels in the area were higher priced, and didn't even offer free breakfast. go here, you won't be disappointed.

A clean, modern hotel at a reasonable price. There was a hot water issue due to a minor earthquake affecting the natural gas, supply to the hotel, but the manager handled the situation very well! A good location near Salt Lake City.

Hands down, two thumbs up for this hotel! We loved it. From check in and the way to check out. This time around we finally used the pool, it was very nice and heated. Breakfast was pretty decent, but hey could be worse. This property is the place to stay at! If you're here for work or leisure; you will not regret choosing this Best Western.

We couldn't have had a better visit at a different hotel. We were in from out of town for a funeral. We enjoyed the swimming pool & the delicious breakfast in the morning. The room was clean & the beds were comfortable.

I love to stay at the Layton Park Hotel. It is close to dining and shopping. And not far away from events or appointments. The hotel looks brand new. It is well decorated and feels super inviting. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

We picked this hotel because we were going to Antelope Island, and it was nearby and had good ratings. I am so glad we chose this place; it was very nice, esp. for the price. The breakfast buffet was so-so, typical of Best Western buffets.

I like a good bed and this one had it. The breakfasts were decent and well prepared. Had guest laundry which I used. Very convenient. Hotel is near a theater and great restaurants. Close to everything and yet quiet.

Very nice place. Convenient to interstate. Nice rooms, clean, maintained. Nice breakfast and 24 hr coffee available. No problems! Desk is generally not staffed -- one needs to ring or call to get attention. When I called with question from room, they were prompt and helpful.

I come to Layton, UT, 5 to 6 times a year and only recently stayed at Best Western Plus in Layton because my usual hotel was full. What a pleasant surprise when I was booked to stay at this particular property. Great appearance, well staffed, well maintained, fitness center nicely outfitted, super breakfast bar. It's one of the cleanest, most comfortable hotels I have stayed at in a long time. This was my second stay at this Best Western Plus and will continue to book my reservations here for my return trips.

I was in Layton Ut for a graduation on 4/26 thru 4/28, I stayed at the BW Plus in Layton, it was one of the best choices I made on this trip! The room was nice and very clean ,,,, bug free ,,,, The breakfast was tasty and lots of fresh food choices. The staff was awesome, They were friendly and patient and seemed to excited to see each new guest. The hot tub and pool were just what I needed after the long trip and after the longer graduation ceremony,,,,,,, totally relaxing and enjoyable Should I ever have the need to be in Layton Ut again, I will definitely stay there again

Had some work done to the house that required us to not be there. This Best Western shares the same high quality standard that the others I have stayed at share. Which is the primary reason I tend to always stay at a Best Western. Decent rooms at a reasonable price. Granted, the only downside to this place is it's location. The neighborhood is fine, it's just trying to find this place is a bit of a maze to travel through, but I have been to worse. Over all, though I give this place high marks for the overall quality of the place.

I was very comfortable during my stay. The only complaint hat I have is that the toilets flushed weird and splashed far when flushed. Very petty issue. I recommend this hotel. Very clean. The cleaning staff takes a long time to get down the hall. That's how I know they are actually cleaning everything.

I come to the area 4 times per year for work. After finding this place it's the only place I'll stay. The staff is excellent and this place is CLEAN! Every time I'm here you can smell the cleaner in the air and this place is spotless. Very impressed

If you have temporary duty at Hill Airforce Base this hotel is at a good location. It's also close to the mall and other restaurants. The breakfast in the morning is not bad either along with coffee & newspaper.

We loved our stay at the Best Western. We only live 10 miles away and just went there for my wife's birthday. The Jucuzzi Suite was a great deal and we loved it. I just finished reserving it again for my son on his wedding night next month. It will be just the thing before he leaves on his honeymoon.

Very nice property, in a good area. Lots of nearby restaurants of good quality. All in all, a great place to stay. Rooms are nice shape, clean and in a quiet area. Breakfast is typical for these types of places, but lots of choice, and good quality.

We used a number of Best Western motels on our recent trip to California and this one had several nice features and some surprises for a new hotel. Our room was a king room and was very comfortable with quiet HVAC but had some traffic noise and noise from the hallway. The elevator was very slow and the new luggage carts were very small and could not accommodate our two suitcases. The "parking lot" is really just a part of the larger almost industrial mall. This results in no close or convenient parking. The curbs were very difficult to navigate over with the baggage carts. This was the most inconvenient motel parking system we encountered on our trip. The included breakfast was in an attractive and clean room, but the selection was not as good as the Best Western hotel we stayed in Butte the night before. So all in all, we were disappointed that such a new hotel could have significant design flaws in a slow elevator, indifferent sound insulation and very awkward parking. We will not be staying here again.

Hotel is very nice. Breakfast was real good. room was spacious and very clean. good size bathroom. Not much parking out front. close to restaurants and right by the highway. Staff was very friendly also.

The hotel was nice and clean. It was comfortable and quite a surprise. I have never stayed at a Best Western before but this hotel was recommended by my daughter who stayed here when she and her husband moved there due to military orders. The only negative was the breakfast. They had a decent selection but the meat was lukewarm and seemed as if it was warmed up and the eggs were not appetizing. Other than that the staff were very courteous and friendly.

I wish I could've stayed longer at this property. I was only in town for two nights but I enjoyed my stay. The staff was great, the room was clean, and comfortable. I had no issues! I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

We stayed in the off-season, so there was plenty of parking available. The desk clerks were wonderful and showed us where the pool, weight room and business center were located. Plenty of rooms, and ours was sparkling clean. They provided what was advertised on their website and we would definitely stay here again. This hotel is only a few years old and is in a good location.

This hotel is convenient to I-15 and is well appointed and clean. We stayed in a King Suite with sofa. Complimentary breakfast was a full selection of items, served at the right temperature and fresh. We will make this our choice of hotels when we return to the area.

Hotel is in prime location within walking distance to restaurants, movie theaters and shopping mall. Rooms were clean, comfortable and adequately stocked. Have stayed here on multiple occasions and will certainly return the next time I'm in the area.

Beds and room was clean, everything worked fine and it was comfortable. The breakfast makes the higher price than we usually pay worth the extra expense. The staff was friendly. The only complaint was that we needed to park right outside a room and go right into the room with my handicapped husband and at this facility you had to go to registration and go a long distance to your room. They did give us ground floor however we had to park across the street at the far end of our room. They did have several haindicap parking spots in front of the hotel but they were all filled early.

Hotel was conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and sheets smelled fresh and new. Having the microwave and mini-refrigerator was also beneficial.

I was extremely happy to see a Best Western property properly priced to the Hotels around it for the first time. I booked the following weekend after staying here and will be my Hotel of choice each time. Rooms were some of the best for the price I have ever stayed at and Mike at the front desk was superb in service!

Seems to be a very quite location?? my room is a king and is just the right size with all the amenities. Hotel staff was very friendly, accommodating and very helpful in find me and amazing place to eat. Parking is the only issue with this hotel, you have to park across the street. No worries the street is only slightly traveled. Very nice room??

Location was great! Quick off-freeway access, near shopping mall, walking distance to a range of restaurants, and movie theater is across the street. Something of interest for everyone in the family. The room was updated, beautifully decorated, and the beds very comfortable. Used the indoor jacuzzi and pool. Our family visits Layton UT about three times a year and have stayed at other hotels. This is now my favorite!

My grand daughter and I stayed for a convention in the area and this hotel was just around the corner. The hotel was wonderful. The staff was great, food and rooms were amazing. We would stay again at this hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Put this hotel on your short list if you're staying in Layton. Between the better-than-expected breakfast and useful on-site laundry facilities, the hotel is a great option for a lengthy stay. (I stayed for 2 weeks.)

The hotel was clean and well maintained, but the front staff does not go out of their way to assist you. They are located in an excellent area, and there are many places to eat, drink and shop immediately around the hotel. the fitness room is excellent along with the pool. The breakfast that is served is tasty.

I flew into Salt Lake City headed to IdahoPassing and stayed here. Nice place, clean and not too noisy. Breakfast was very good, typical waffle, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. Staff was great. Would stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located just off of I -15, and is north of Salt Lake City. Also, the location of this hotel is very convenient to Antelope Island State Park which is located within the Great Salt Lake. There are numerous restaurants very close to this hotel and excellent shopping and entertainment options are also available. This hotel is clean, the rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. The free breakfast buffet is very good and offers good selections. The staff is professional and provides great customer service. This hotel is one of our favorites.

We stayed here on 9/22/16. When we checked in, the power had been out for about 15 minutes due to a short but violent storm, and it stayed dark for another 2 hours or so. (So did half the city!) The front desk manager, Clint, bought pizzas for everyone who was waiting in the lobby, and did his best to help everyone as much as he could. Thank you, Clint! When we finally got to our room, it was fine, clean and comfortable. WiFi was very good. Breakfast the next morning was very good. Coming off the I-15, it's a little difficult to find the hotel, and there are some franchise restaurants within a short drive of the hotel, so overall I'd say it's location is good. This was our second stay at this hotel, and we'd definitely stay there again.

This is a pretty new property and as one would expect very clean and nicely designed. The location near I-15 has easy access but off the highway far enough to have little traffic noise. As it is adjacent to a large shopping center and theater complex, these amenities are within walking distance. The same can be said about several national chain restaurants. The only complaint is about the in room lighting. All of the fixtures are fitted with compact fluorescent bulbs that give off that harsh bluish cast. This shading colors everything it shines upon effecting furnishings and ones skin tone. Even though CFLs are passé and long since replaced by LEDs, they are available in different color tones with 2700 K being preferred in public spaces. As a suggestion, at least replace the bulbs in the restrooms. Applying makeup in blue light is really a chore for most women...

Went to visit family for 2 nights. Very clean, Staff was very friendly and accommodating, allowed use of dining area for get-together to play cards with family .Very comfy bed. Will definitely return.

Stayed here for our trip to Lagoon and Salt Lake City. I slept really well in a nice clean bed. Room and Bathroom were super clean. Breakfast was awesome - we ate well, and had a great remainder of a trip!

The staff was outstanding. We needed a place to get some friends together for cards. The clerk at the front counter allowed us to use the dinning room. We had a great time. We did not take the time for the pool but it was heated looked inviting. My sister in law used the work out room and said it was great.

Stayed for two nights here, checking in was quick, painless, and pleasant, front desk is awesome! The two bed queen we got on the first floor was very spacious, loved how big it was, with four people in the room it didn't feel cramped at all. There isn't very much parking near the hotel, but we didn't mind the small walk to our vehicle. All in all a great stay!

Very clean and up to date. Very impressed - especially for the price. The indoor pool and spa was great - especially the wonderfully hot spa temperature (not for wimps) and powerful jets. When in the area this will be our number one choice. On a personal note, just outside our room was a picture on the wall of an ancestor standing in front of his turn-of-the-century local lumber store - talk about personalized service!

The room was clean and smelled clean, everything was in working order, the pool and hot tub area were clean and orderly, no clutter. The breakfast was much more than I anticipated and we were very pleased.

As long as you don't expect a Hilton Hotel experience for what you are paying, then this is a great place to stay. Clean, comfortable room, reasonably comfortable beds and a decent hot breakfast. For a short stay or for the traveler, I would highly recommend this property. We actually live in the same city and used this as a getaway while our house was over-run with visitors for a wedding. Worked out well.

The Hotel was very good. The front desk staff were very helpful and very nice. The room was large and had everything. There was a Microwave and Fridge in the room. There was plenty of parking and the Wi-Fi worked very well. The breakfast was good. Within walking distance there is a Mall and shopping. Will stay again.

My daughter and I stay here every time we pass through here from Denver Colorado to her college in Corvallis, Oregon. The staff is always amazing and the rooms are very comfortable and reasonably priced.

Great location at the Layton Park Mall. Lots of good restaurants nearby and it is a quick and easy drive to Hill AFB. We were disappointed that the breakfast was not served until 7am - we had to be on base by 7am so it left no time to get a hot meal first. Room was nice and beds and pillows were quite comfortable. All-in-all a great stay except for the breakfast problem.

We were traveling on a motorcycle with 2 other bikes, 5 adults total. We had no reservations because we did not know where we were going to wind up for the evening. The clerk was very welcoming and went out of his way to accommodate our group. This is a luxury hotel at a bargain rate! All accommodations exceeded our expectations--highly recommend this Best Western if you are ever in the Salt Lake City area!

I enjoyed my stay but didn't really feel the 'plus' as I expected. The room was good enough as was breakfast. The location is a little hard to find and nothing is especially close or within a quick walk. The staff were accommodating and helpful. The pool was warm and clean. The lobby was also. No negative comments but don't like this hotel as much as some others that are close by.

Comfortable beds, helpful staff, decent breakfast. I accidentally made our reservation for the wrong day but the staff at the front desk changed my reservation with no problem. We recently moved and didn't have beds at our new house so we booked a room here and it was well worth it! We got a great night's rest.

Nice hotel. Very clean. The only near negative things I can say is the cleaning solution used to clean the room had a very powerful smell. The breakfast was over at 9:30 rather than 10, like most hotels.

The Best Western lived up to our expectations for staff, comfy beds, and breakfast. Convenient to other shopping and dining if you like. And a quick drive in to SL for sightseeing. Or not quite into the hubbub of downtown if you're passing through.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past when traveling from Las Vegas to Montana. The hotel is clean, well kept and in a great location. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The employees, staff and services provided are excellent with great attention to detail. We have stayed at many different hotels in our travels, and this Best Western, is among the best hotels for the price, convenience and comfort you will find.

This facility is in an excellent location if you are traveling to Salt Lake and specifically the Lagoon. It is clean, well maintained and quiet. Lovely grounds. The only negative is that they are not pet friendly.

Hotel was excellent. Had a great feel to it upon arrival with employee greeting you with a smile after a long drive. Room was clean and everything worked. Breakfast was more than expected except for the employee working in there. A smile goes a long way.

We stayed twice on this vacation. Once heading east to see family and then again heading back, as we liked it so much. Very clean. Very comfortable beds. Decent breakfast. Reasonable prices. Helpful staff. Good location. Short drive to downtown SLC or antelope island if you want to see The Great Salt Lake. Lots of shopping and restaurants very close. The only fault we found was the parking. Very small lot. Lots of parking nearby but a little inconvenient when you have kids and luggage to tote back and forth.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff is friendly, professional, and happy to see you. The room was amazing. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. They put out another great Best Western breakfast with everything one could desire. I could find only one negative about this very nice hotel, they need new luggage carts. Other than that I would tell everyone to stay here. It is one of Best Westerns best.

I stayed here for 3 nights to visit family in the area. I was very impressed with the updated look of the hotel grounds and lobby area. The corridors and rooms were well maintained. The room was well appointed with plenty of outlets for my electronics. The breakfast was very good for your standard free hotel breakfast and the ambiance of the breakfast room was really nice. There was plenty of seating in the breakfast room also. The presentation of the food was great and the server was helpful. The bed was nice and comfortable. The room was quite and had blackout drapes so I slept really well. My son and I used the indoor pool/hot tub.The hot tub was about nice and hot but not too hot that you couldn't relax and enjoy it. My son said the pool was also heated and he spent a couple of hours playing in the pool. My only complaints were: 1.) there was no channel guide in the room or on the tv. The "guide" button on the tv remote was inactive so I had to surf around the channels aimlessly. I subsequently created my own list of channels on the free notepad on the nightstand. 2.) the indoor pool/hot tub area was very hot/humid. Some additional ventilation would have been nice.

This Best Western has a very nice dining room and a very well prepared FULL Breakfast; scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and sausage patties, as well as waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt and beverages. The dining room itself is well decorated, clean and comfortable.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE--This is the best kept secret on Layton. From the staff to the rooms, it just doesn't get any better. I have stayed in the area for over 30 years and I ill say this place is "THE BEST"!

Stayed with our family here for a 1 night stay before leaving SLC. The staff was very friendly while checking in and helped us get our 3 rooms quickly as we had made reservations prior to our arrival. Our rooms were very clean and spacious. The hotel is located in a great location next to many restaurants and shopping stores.

Our room was clean and well appointed. The lady at the desk at check in was wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was mediocre but on the plus side there were several choices of things to eat. Restaurants abound nearby which was a big plus. The only complaint was that the luggage carts were much too heavy and unwieldy. I have never had such a difficult time with one and we stay at lots of hotels.

On the way to Teton Nat'l Park, Yellowstone & Glacier Nat'l Park, we spent a night at this hotel. We requested first floor, near the pool, which we received. Very relaxing atmosphere. Room was spacious, clean and bed comfy. We will use this hotel again in the future.

When I am in SLC on the north end of the valley, I occasionally stop by there to stay. Its nice to have the convenience of a lot of places to eat nearby and the hotel is nice and clean with rooms is good repair.

Stayed for just one night during a family event. Hotel was bright, clean and modern. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Room was very modern. Bed and bedding so comfortable. We were in town during an extremely busy weekend yet the room was very quiet. Nice pool and jacuzzi and well. Way more than I expected from a Best Western. Would definitely stay again. In fact I'll be back again in a few months and plan to book here again.

We were driving all day from western Oregon and did not know how far we were going to drive or when we would stop on our way to Vernal Utah. We drove well into the night and and finally decide to drive to Ogden Utah. We came across a listing for the Layton Best Western and decided to give it a shot. We called and estimated a time of arrival of about 1:30 am the front desk was very helpful and very accommodating when we arrived an hour later than stated due to traffic conditions. The hotel room was very clean, large and well laid out. We asked for late check out due to our late arrival and it wasn't an issue. The Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the entire staff was very friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again given the opportunity.

Really enjoyed our stay. Professional staff, clean rooms, free breakfast AND laundry facilities. Great value and great location. This was our first stay at a Best Western Plus, and I'd highly recommend it!!

Fairly easily to find on a sheds estate. Car Parking is free and plentiful but watch as you drive in because there are multi-use roads cutting across the line you are taking. Reception speedy and pleasant. Local newspaper available. Large, clean bedroom with two comfortable Queens and all the expected kit. All in good condition, we ignore the chips to door frames etc. caused by client carelessness. Bible in drawer. No real noise issues, always doors slamming in American hotels from 05-00 onwards as they leave for work, another long journey etc.. Bathroom had bath with shower over. Good quality range of toiletries. The hotel is convenient for a range of food outlets and a Walmart (where they stil issue FREE carrier bags) Excellent included breakfast using cardboard and plastic

Staff was very helpful and kind. I stopped at the front desk several times for items or questions. Hotel was quiet and relaxing. I did miss the cubed cheese they had at breakfast the last time we stayed here. I do really like the ice water that is available.

Very nice hotel for an overnight stay to visit family. Great rate through Trip Advisor that made it worthwhile. Before booking through Trip Advisor, I called the hotel directly and they told me they had no rooms available but the booking through Trip Advisor secured a room for the night. Great a/c on a hot summer night!

I stay at A LOT of Best Westerns and this may be the cleanest most well kept hotel I have ever stayed at. From the lobby to the room to the breakfast area this hotel is ON POINT. I travel to Salt Lake City quite often and I have never stayed here.....my bad! This is a great location, slightly North of downtown and all the traffic makes it easier for me to get into. Lots of resturants around the area and right off the interstate.

This is a great motel close to the mall lots of places to choose from to eat. Nice area in the back of the motel to walk around. Pool area was nice. The breakfast was excellent as well. Well definetly stay at this motel again.

Stayed here for a week and nothing special about the hotel room or hotel except the grade A breakfast. One of the better setups for breakfast. The walls of the room were fairly thin but luckily only had a few noisy guests during the week.

I loved this Best Western from the moment we entered the lobby until we walked through the door after check out. Mike checked us in, was quick efficient and super friendly. He gave us some recommendations for dinner that were in walking distance and we chose the sushi restaurant. He was right on the money. The food was exceptional, the service quick and friendly and the prices were reasonable.( I think its name was Osaka or something similar) Breakfast was outstanding, the bacon was crisp and the eggs were real. (always a plus but not always the case) The coffee was also not standard hotel fare but tasty and fresh and not bitter. Alan checked us out and like Mike was efficient, friendly and helpful. I have stayed at most of the hotels in the area and this one outshines them all. My new favorite place to stay in Layton.

We stayed here for a night. Room was good with comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice. The hotel has an indoor pool but we could not use it. All in all i don't have any complains for this hotel. I will definitely recommend this.

Here are the things I look for in a hotel: Hotel was clean, staff was helpful, bed was comfortable, room was quite. I did not try the free breakfast offered but there are a lot of restaurant choices close by. Overall a this is what I like in a hotel experience. Clean, quite and a comfortable bed.

Best Western needs to train the front desk and have information in the rooms. We were looking for places to eat so we asked at the desk. He said I don't know just walk around the back. The next day we asked someone different. He answered the same way. We also asked if there was anything to see. Same thing-we don't have much around here

This hotel was nice, there were a couple issues with the bill and being placed in the wrong type room, but other than that all else was ok. Just keep an eye on your bill and also if there is something wrong immediately report and have them fix it. Bedding is not plush, but serves its purpose. Comforters were thin.

Friends and I rented two rooms at the Layton, UT Best Western Plus hotel.. I was very pleased with this selection. The hotel was quiet and very clean. The clerk was friendly but when I asked about non-chain restaurants in the areas he just pointed to a brochure and said maybe I could find something in there. The hotel included the typical breakfast buffet of waffles, sausage links, biscuits & gravy, yogurt, banana, apple, OJ, cereal, and bagels. The quality was good but the offerings were similar to most continental breakfasts at interstate route hotels. The swimming pool looked nice but we did not use it.. In the room there was coffee, a microwave, cable tv, and lots of nice lighting. The bed was a bit saggy on one edge but nicely firm in middle and I had no trouble sleeping through the night. The bathroom very clean and there was no mold or mildew and no damaged or dirty caulking. The room was much like an average hotel room but it was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay at the Best Western Plus in Layton, UT again. The only negative part about this property is that the parking is not secure. The parking is a very large area that is shared with several restaurants and other hotel properties. The price for one night was $99, including taxes. I rate this hotel a 5 for cleanliness and quiet, a 4 for the continental breakfast, and a 4 for the reception clerk. Overall, I rate this property as a 4, but qualify my rating that most importantly it was clean and quiet.

For the price you can't beat this hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. We will stay here again when we are in the area.

Stayed here for two weeks while TDY to Hill. This is a fantastic hotel. It's very clean and everything works (room, gym, hot tub, and pool). Absolutely no problems. My wife came with me and enjoyed it as well. The wireless internet is almost as fast as my office wired connection. The breakfasts are great and there is plenty of places to eat within walking distance of a very short drive.

This hotel is quality. We stayed here after visiting Antelope Island (15 min away). One nice perk to staying here is that the hotel is next to two large movie theatres. Just walk out the door to see a movie, plus restaurants all around. Can believe this hotel is only $10 more than the Super 8 last night in Boise. Well worth the extra.

Travelling to and from Arizona from Canada we stayed at several Best Westerns along the way. That day our GPS had a stroke or something like that and could not find or direct us anywhere. We knew there were several BW hotels in the area along I-15 north of Salt Lake. We zoomed by one but soon found another a few minutes up the road. Normally I do use the app the morning we set out on the road and saw there were rooms that morning. We saw another BW sign and pulled off the next exit. Soon we found the property and got a room. The young man was very helpful when asked about a good place to eat. There were many restaurants very close which was very convenient. The hotel and room was very quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. Will stay there again if we go by in the future.

The area around the hotel looks a little shabby, but the hotel and room were new and clean. Reserved a king room with jacuzzi and we were put in a 2nd floor room above the pool. A bus load of high school students staying the night were using the pool, and the amount of noise in our room from the pool was surprising and obnoxious. We requested a room change, and were quickly moved to the 4th floor. We got a good night's sleep in a clean, quiet room. We will stay again as long as we get a room far from the pool!

Quiet hours not enforced, called the front desk two nights in a row to find the frat party and shut it down. First night, Tuesday, I was told it was noise coming from the pool and that they would go tell them to keep it down. No change to the noise echoing through the building. Second night called the front desk and was told the same lie about going to go tell them to be quiet.

We were recommended to stay in Layton after trying to navigate the ever increasingly heavy I-15 traffic. Perfectly located was this property because it was so easy on and off the interstate without having to go 20 minutes farther north. Property wise, there was spacious parking, numerous entrances with superb lighting and sidewalks. Also this Best Western was located in a well presented park like setting with designed grass and waterways. Also in the area was two higher class restaurants. Interior was designed with modern hues and contemporary style. Plenty of room in the walkways, lobby, and rooms as is represented outside. Internet was excellent, as was the partially catered hot breakfast. Perfect location and hotel for receiving guests and meeting new friends. Truly a standard of Best Western.

Stop and stay in this first rate facility. This was our second stay here and it did not disappoint. Great location, quiet, super clean and top notch all the way. A restful, pleasant oasis in the middle of a very busy area. Experience it for yourself!

Usually I am very Picky person when it comes to Hotels, and Restaurants. So during my business trip to Layton, UT I did stayed at this hotel for couple nights. Before I checked in I was impressed by it's location which is very close by i15 Highway, Walmart, Sam's Club, Layton Hill's Mall, and many Restaurants. When I went to my room to rest after I had a long day I went to check the bathroom and it was really accumulate and the bed was very comfortable. So in general the room was in very good shape, and I am glad to find the right hotel. Thanks for the awesome job.

Hotel was comfortable and clean, though staff often seemed rushed and aloof. Try to avoid rooms 208-220, as they are right above the pool. The effect is rather like listening to whales, but not nearly as peaceful. This hotel is much less expensive than all the others in the area and sits back off of the major roadways so it is quieter than others nearby. The hotel is right next door to a new theater and has a walking path over to MacCool's Irish restaurant, which I would most certainly recommend.

Was, if not the nicest, one of the nicest hotel stays I've had. Couldn't say enough about it. Will definitely recommend this hotel and also stay here myself whenever I'm n the area. Breakfast was unbelievable and fresh. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very helpful. You must stay here

Really enjoyed our stay at the Layton Park Best Western. The staff at the front desk were really polite and helpful, the room was spacious and quiet, and the bed was VERY Comfortable! The photographic fine art of the local landscape that decorated the hotel and rooms was really excellent! We enjoyed the hotel so much that we stayed there again on our return journey home. We got this hotel for my parents anniversary. They really enjoyed their stay there. The room had a jaccuzzi tub in it. They said the bed was really comfortable and they enjoyed the breakfast. it was the best breakfast they have had while staying at a hotel.

I'd always experienced the smaller Best Western motels in small towns. This was my first one at a larger property. Four floors, modern amenities, tasteful decor, hot breakfast with protein offerings, a warm-enough pool, and a wonderful staff. Only negative: Some of the equipment in the fitness room was worn out and needed replacing.

We stayed 5 nights for business and this hotel suited us perfectly. The breakfast was really good each morning and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel was located nearly across the street from our training location and was accessible to several restaurants.

Very helpful staff. Very Clean. Easy to get to different restaurants to eat at. Close to Movie Theaters and Mall for shopping. Easy access to the Freeway. Nice pool area. They accommodated with letting us help ourself to the coffee maker in the Breakfast room, since we left before breakfast was available

Stayed on business. Love the room, It was chilling at first but not a big deal in my world nor unexpected. Staff was helpful for whatever I needed: area information, suggestions. I did call the guest regarding some noise from another guests room which seemed to quiet down quickly after making the front desk aware of it. Breakfast is worth checking out.

Everything screamed that this was a new hotel, although it has apparently been around for 3 years. Very kept up. Rooms smell nice and look nice. Pool and hot tub nice. Breakfast includes cooked items, not just donuts.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is well maintained, I can't attest to the grounds, because it was covered with snow. The lobby was very welcoming, with comfortable furniture, a huge fireplace and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The bed was wonderful. People looked like they enjoyed the pool and gym, we personally didn't use the facilities-you don't want to see this in a Speedo. All the staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast hours were very accommodating, plenty of time to eat a gooood waffle. My husband loved the biscuits and gravy that was a choice everyday, and there was plenty to choose from on a daily bases, and all of it was good, except the small sausage patty. Being there for 10 days, we saw a lot of repeat entries being served, which was a little boring. But over all, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, who might need a good nights rest when passing through, or who are planning a visit to the Layton area.

Great value. Clean and Comfortable rooms. Breakfast was brought by a local restaurant and and was more than I expect for a hotel stay. Internet was free and very fast. I will stay here again when I am in the area.

My husband and I had to make an unexpected trip to Utah for a family funeral. We made our reservations last minute and the hotel was able to accommodate us. The price was reasonable and the room was nice. It was quiet during our stay and the bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the fitness center. The employees were professional and friendly. The front lobby was very inviting with a fire place warming the room. I would stay there again!

Stayed 3 nights for Christmas visit with family. We have stayed several times, and every time the stay is extremely comfortable. The hotel is very clean, the lobby is comfortable with lots of seating, warm breakfast is more than adequate. Our room was clean, and very satisfied with the daily housekeeping. We had a family check in late the last night, kids were noisy and running up and down the halls after midnight. Called the front desk. Problem was solved. Will stay here any time we visit family in Layton

The room was large and wellkept. A very large well cared for older facitility with lots to offer. A little hard to find without a GPS, but worth the search. Needed a little more parking. Would recommend it.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Speedy check in and speedy check out. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi was perfect, clean and pure enjoyable. This is the nicest staff I have ever encountered and I stay a minimum of two motels a month. Movie theater and shopping mall within walking distance. An amusement park is just a 15 min drive. Best Motel in the area...do not look any farther

I so wanted to give this hotel a good review. The location is great - right next to two restaurants and a movie theater that are literally within walking distance. The lobby looked beautiful decorated for Christmas. The room was nice, very clean. The pool was actually warm, and the hot tub was actually nicely hot. We always stay at Best Western properties and were excited to have found a new one to add to our preferred properties for when we travel. However, the queen size beds that we had on our reservation were not queen size beds in reality. These mattresses were small and made our night not at all restful. When we asked about them the clerk simply informed us that all of the beds were actually queens. But these were not!!!

Great location and a wonderful staff. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. Will definitely stay there again. Close to the large Layton Mall and the freeway. The hotel had a pool and workout area and the staff always helpful. The breakfast was complimentary and very good. Coffee and tea in the room, along with ironing board. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is newer, clean, has comfortable beds, good sized room and very good location. It is just off the I15, far enough that you don't hear traffic but still convenient. There are many restaraunts close by and a mall across the street. Nice pool and hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

First, let me be perfectly clear that this review is not intended to unfairly criticize the Best Western Layton Park hotel, but rather to inform those with special needs who need to know what to expect before they book this hotel and end up in a potentially precarious situation. To put it as simply as possible, the parking lot for this hotel is wholly inadequate, especially for those of us with mobility issues or disabilities. While the hotel boasts 107 guest rooms, there are only 14 regular parking spaces and 4 ADA spaces in the attached parking area. This means that at only 17 percent occupancy the hotel parking lot will be full. Once the lot is full (which occurs very early each day) guests are forced to park across one of two streets in parking areas that belong to other businesses (a movie theater, a jewelry store, and a restaurant) then navigate their way back to the front door around landscape islands and other obstacles. This situation was bad enough during our stay in fair weather, but given Utah's climate, this could become an extremely difficult or even dangerous situation for some when the snows do fall. As other reviewers have covered in depth, this is a nice hotel. It is new, clean, quiet, and has a friendly staff. However, in spite of all these positives, I would not stay here again, nor can I recommend the Best Western Layton Park to anyone who has mobility issues.

The room way quite and comfortable. Had a very restful night after a long drive. Definitely a great place to stay and the breakfast was just what we needed before getting back on the road. The check in and out were quick and easy.

We were on our way to WY and stopped at the BW Plus. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help you, the room was clean, quiet & comfy. The beds & pillows were very comfortable (which is always important after a long drive). The next morning we had a very good breakfast (standard hotel items but good) and will definitely be returning on our next trip.

My husband and I travelled from South Korea to Utah intending to stay just one night in this hotel to shake off jet lag, and then go on to other places. The hotel felt very inviting from the moment we walked in and we ended up staying for the whole duration of our trip. The room was nothing particularly fancy yet it was comfortable with clean sheets, good sized bed, enough water pressure and everything in working order. Breakfast, we had eggs and cheese potatoes which was really good and catered from a local restaurant. Then we stumbled upon Sill's Cafe about 10 minutes by car that opens at 5 a.m. Because we woke up early due to time difference between Utah and South Korea, we ate breakfast there rest of the time. Hotel's location is ideal, close enough from the highway minus the noise, a shopping mall in the same block which was very convenient and several restaurants within walking distance. A special mention to Mike at the Front Desk, very accommodating person who has suggested great golf courses and restaurants in the area as well as answering endless questions that a first timer to Utah may have.

Good location & easy to find! (Right next to the mall) Front desk was nice, but check in was a bit slow, and the gentleman was very quiet. The room was lovely, and very clean! We stayed in a King, which came with a fridge & microwave, as well as a little sitting area, and a nice LG TV. It's a all indoor hotel, which is nice in the cold. The fitness center was great, elevators were speedy, and breakfast was AWESOME! Only con of the hotel, was the really heavy doors entering the room. Every so often during the night, we would hear them slam, which would wake us up. Other then that, everything was great! We were every happy with our stay!

We were travelling home thru Utah and picked a place to stop out of SLC. This seemed like a fairly new hotel and seemed well run. Out bathroom floor wasn't real clean but the rest was fine. Breakfast was really good.

I stayed at this Best Western to get some work done, but I also had the opportunity to bring my son along. He was able to let me be while I handled some work and business related responsibilities. Because of the great and safe environment, pool, and tv/internet, he felt like he was at home but also on a relaxing and fun vacation.

We stayed here while doing some wildlife photography at Antelope Island. The Island is about 20 mins away. Lots of good restaurants in the area, ranging from fast food to sit down chain restaurants. Hotel was clean, room was nice and the breakfast was very good.

We were so pleased and surprised to find a five star room in a Best Western Hotel in small-town Utah location :) Still having warm fuzzies. The staff were very professional, efficient and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again and will be booking again with Best Western Hotels.

The Best Western Plus Layton Park Hotel was great. Very clean and comfortable. The location is great as there is every possible store or restaurant you could want nearby. It seemed to be a safe and friendly area and we will return.

great stay no complaints really there was breakfast which i really liked only thing about breakfast was it was extremely bland tasting, think they need to add a sprinkle of salt and pepper when cooking it but it did come with the room so cant really complain much more

This is a very nice Hotel and exceptionally clean. I loved the location with a Mall, Theater,and many Dining choices within walking distance. It's close to Salt Lake but without the higher prices for rooms. We plan on staying there again with our nest trip to that area.

its a very nice and clean place, It felt like if I was at home and comfortable. it felt very secure I went with my daughter and we stayed in a 1 king bed and we slept very comfortable. it was very clean

Hotel was very clean and employees were very friendly. Pool and hot tub were clean and of comfortable temperatures. Breakfast was nice with choices of both hot and cold meals. Within walking distance to shopping mall and very good restaurants.

My husband and I were so tired from driving all day, it was a breath of fresh air to stop at this Best Western. We were greeted with a sharply dressed young man who made us feel welcome. It is by far the nicest Best Western we have ever stayed in. We checked into a kitchen room and were surprised to see china and real silverware. The two queen beds were very comfortable and we both got a great nights sleep. This is an excellent hotel, sparkling clean, great kitchen excellent breakfast and dining room and real quality employees! We highly recommend this hotel. It is located away from the interstate so quiet rooms. We have not seen antiseptic rooms before this one. Refreshing! We thought the prices were great for what you received as well. Make this a stop on your travels.

You have to stay at a few other Best Westerns to really appreciate how good this place is. It is conveniently located, with easy access to a variety of places to eat. The breakfast is well managed and almost perfect for someone who needs to get to an early meeting. Perfect would be starting at 6 instead of 6:30. There are a variety of reasonably healthy snacks for sale in the lobby.
